Brown is RB12 on RB5 usage over the past two seasons in 21 games with Joe Burrow active in half-PPR, and even better as RB5 on RB4 usage in just 2025 (six games with Burrow); his ADP sits at RB12 in the middle of Round 2, creating clear upside if this elite split continues. Bengals didn't add RB competition, Brown is healthy, and the Bengals are fourth in projected points; Brown was RB8 in rushing success rate in Burrow games and RB2 in rush yards over expected on carries with three-or-fewer yards to go, while the Bengals OL and rushing scheme have improved since Brown entered the NFL, helping his TD chances. The source was initially skeptical of Chase Brown but is now immediately coming around on him after reviewing game logs. Brown handled the workload on a prolific Bengals offense (1,400 scrimmage yards, 88 targets, 11 total TDs last year); the Bengals didn't bring in anyone to compete with him. Even splits with and without a healthy Joe Burrow show no ammunition to avoid drafting him. Brown is a balanced, locked-in workhorse who gets plenty of targets—not flashy but a mystery box that isn't really a mystery. The source is in full capitulation mode and willing to shift Brown toward the front of the RB group to get him. Ranked #2 second-round RB by source, directly behind Kenneth Walker.
