Up and down day for Jaxson Dart. Started with a long completion to Malachi Fields down left sideline. Also hit Theo Johnson with a beautifully lofted touch pass for a huge gain or touchdown. In between, the offense struggled and he threw a pair of interceptions to Paulson Adebo and Tremaine Edmunds.

Rookie wide receiver Fields is going at WR86 (19.07 in NFFC) and has every opportunity to smash ADP despite the Giants' offensive limitations. His tape, athleticism, and skill set are an obvious fit for a team lacking depth. Even if Malik Nabers returns to full health by Week 2, Fields would still be useful as a big-bodied X who can win downfield and in short areas for PPR value early, then serve as a weekly big-play flex player once Nabers returns. Darnell Mooney's presence as a clearout player allows both Fields and Nabers plenty of room and flexibility to see single coverage.

Fields is every bit of his listed 6-4, 222-pound stature and understands how to use that size to his advantage. He made an impressive grab over the middle in 7-on-7 drills where he boxed out the defender for a catch, earning praise from Cam Skattebo.
