Bucky Irving

PositiveValue27:05

Bucky Irving is preferred over Basial Tootin for a flex spot because he is not part of a four-man committee, making him the more reliable option despite a tough matchup against the Brian Flores-led defense.

Insight page

Case Keenum

NegativeDepth Chart21:28

Case Keenum would be the starting quarterback for the Bears if Tyson Bagent is unable to clear concussion protocol.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveUsage31:45

The source highlights Chris Olave's impressive ability as a contortionist while making catches in the air.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveUsage21:13

The source confirms they are starting Colson Loveland in their fantasy lineup.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveUsage21:10

The source explicitly recommends starting D'Andre Swift with confidence against the Eagles, despite the Bears' overall offensive struggles.

Insight page
PositiveProjection35:07

DeAndre Swift is a confident start for fantasy managers this week, even with the Bears' current quarterback situation.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveProjection2:12

Dak Prescott is a top-eight to top-nine fantasy quarterback for the week. He is averaging a career-high 20 rushing yards per game and has historically averaged over 20 fantasy points per game in contests with a total of 50 or more points, which applies to this week's 52.5 over-under matchup.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout22:10

Denzel Boston is a must-add player who has emerged as the only consistent downfield threat for Deshaun Watson. He leads the team in targets and has shown efficiency with three catches of 15-plus yards. He is currently the WR13 in fantasy points per target.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveProjection20:48

Devonta Smith looked great in his most recent game, and the source notes there is a decent chance for continued success in the Eagles' passing game.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeBust5:28

Drake Maye has been a disappointment with back-to-back sub-double-digit fantasy performances and only one touchdown over the last two weeks. He currently leads the league in interceptions alongside Cooper Rush. With A.J. Brown on IR and Romeo Dobbs failing to step up, Maye is only a start out of necessity due to other quarterback injuries, rather than preference.

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

PositiveSleeper17:26

Emmitt Johnson is a high-upside stash who should be added in over 80% of leagues. Andy Reid has indicated he could earn a larger role as the season progresses, and he serves as critical insurance for Kenneth Walker III, who has seen an extremely high touch volume (26 and 30 touches in the first two weeks).

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeBreakout9:05

Parker Washington has established himself as the primary pass catcher for Trevor Lawrence, recording five straight games with at least five receptions and 80-plus yards. He is now considered a high-end WR2 or low-end WR1. His role as the primary slot receiver helps him avoid tough perimeter coverage, such as Christian Gonzalez this week.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveUsage33:41

Tank Bigsby is a trustworthy start if Saquon Barkley sits, as he is expected to command the majority of goal-line opportunities despite Will Shipley's involvement.

Insight page

Tyson Bagent

NegativeInjury21:22

Tyson Bagent is currently in the concussion protocol, putting his availability for the upcoming game in jeopardy.

0:35Void where prohibited. I'm hoping for a continuation of the week two version.
0:39To me, he did his best men in black impression, pulled out a neuralyzer, and erased my memory.
0:44Hey, I'm Liz Loza. This is Facts vs. Feelings and today's fact is just when you think you know something, turns out you know nothing at all.
0:53Daniel Dopp, we are in Bristol together and there are no boxes involved.
0:57No, no one has a box here. There will be later though.
1:01Yes, at some point there will be two boxes.
1:04Yes, it will be exciting. Very excited about that.
1:06Just a little tease. Okay. I'm very excited to do a show with you in person.
1:11These are my favorite shows to do because I get to see you and your face and all the stuff.
1:18And we can just vibe. We can talk about football.
1:21Should we do that? Yeah. Also, we're both wearing boots and I just like that because it's kind of – Yes, it's boot weather.
1:28It's sweater weather. It's long sleeve weather. And I'm excited about that.
1:32It's also maybe Dak Prescott weather. I thought I knew what was going on in week one when I saw Dak Prescott.
1:39Didn't look great. And then in week two, crushed against the Commanders.
1:43Yes. So who do I get here in week three?
1:46I'm hoping for a continuation of the week two version.
1:49To me, he did his best men in black impression, pulled out a neuralyzer, and erased my memory of his week one
1:56showing by throwing for four touchdowns and loved this rushing.
1:59Remember when Dak Prescott used to be a mobile quarterback?
2:02Rushed for 26 yards. In fact, so far this season, he is averaging a career-high 20 rushing yards per game.
2:09That's actually pretty legit, to be honest. How do you feel, though, about the fact that this is, one, against a Baltimore defense?
2:16Although we did just see Tyler Shuck score over 22 fantasy points again.
2:20Also rushed well in that game. And it's going to be in Brazil.
2:24That's true, too. So has that changed anything for you?
2:27So I don't normally love an international game. I also don't love when – For fantasy.
2:32For fantasy purposes, right. But I also don't love when three starting quarterbacks – Oh, yeah.
2:37Caleb Williams, Jackson Dart, and Jaden Daniels – Are all going to be missing from the slate.
2:43I think we have to adapt accordingly. And the thing I do like about this contest is that the over-under is 52.5.
2:50It's the highest over-under for the week. I do have a fun fact about Dak Prescott, who in playing 29 games in
2:57which the total has been 50 or more points, he has averaged over 20 fantasy points per game.
3:02That was a fun fact. Yes. I'm glad you brought that to the table.
3:07It makes me feel good about – Oh, yeah.
3:10I'm with you. A top eight showing, I think.
3:12I'm with you on that. Do you have him ranked inside your top ten, maybe your top eight?
3:18I had him ranked inside my top nine, I believe.
3:21I've got him at nine at the position. So inside my – he's a starting quarterback for me this week.
3:28One of the guys that hasn't been as good this week, or actually this season.
3:32This year, yeah. Drake May, unfortunately, two straight back-to-back duds.
3:35Two weeks in which he didn't even hit double-digit fantasy points.
3:39Liz, now he's taking on Jacksonville Jaguars. Are we at the point where you're benching him, or are you rolling him out there for one more week?
3:47I think because of the injuries to the quarterback position, we have to roll him out.
3:52But I don't want to. Yeah. I don't feel good about it.
3:56But he's thrown one touchdown over the last two weeks.
3:59Would you like some context as to the other quarterbacks who have only managed to throw one touchdown over the last three weeks?
4:07Thank you. Who they are? I consent to that context.
4:10Okay. Aaron Rodgers. Yeah. Geno Smith. Okay. Baker Mayfield.
4:13Do you think any of them were drafted inside the top five players?
4:17That's not a good fantasy list of quarterbacks. No, it's not.
4:20But do you know what else Drake May did?
4:23What? He also threw four interceptions. Okay. Would you like to know the name of the other quarterback who leads the league currently in interceptions?
4:31I would. It's Cooper Rush. Oh. Yeah. That's not great company to be in, Liz Loza.
4:36No. We drafted Drake May to be a top five quarterback for us.
4:40I had him as my QB2 coming in. Part of that was he was going to have A.J.
4:46Brown. Clearly, obviously, A.J. Brown on IR right now, so that's going to impact things.
4:50But the dude they paid $17 freaking million to in Romeo Dobbs has not stepped up in A.J.
4:56Brown's absence. Nope. And they got rid of Kayshawn Booty, which means all of their vertical appeal is gone, at least for the next four games while A.J.
5:05Brown recovers from this ankle issue. I don't like the matchup either against Jacksonville.
5:09Now, I know that the opposing quarterbacks that Jacksonville has played aren't exactly phenomenal, but they did hold both Deshaun Watson and
5:16then Bo Nix in weeks one and two to just one touchdown apiece.
5:20And they also picked off both of those quarterbacks.
5:23Don't love that. Yeah, it doesn't feel good. I think the only reason why he's even in the starting conversation this week
5:30is because of what you said at the very start.
5:33Those three quarterbacks being hurt. If we had all three of those quarterbacks, he'd probably be QB 12 to 14, 15.
5:40Starting out of necessity. Yes. Not out of preference.
5:43I think that's a great way to put it.
5:45Yeah. All right. What about Parker Washington, Liz Loza?
5:48Is this for real? Because Parker Washington, we thought maybe that this was going to be the wide receiver one, but also
5:55we weren't really sure because it doesn't have that wide receiver one alpha vibe to him.
6:00But he's certainly playing like that, dude. I mean, sometimes narratives can be bucked and he is doing just that because he
6:07is picking up where he left off. This isn't just some anomaly that's starting at the top of the season that we're potentially overreacting to.
6:15Parker Washington is picking up where he left off.
6:18This isn't some anomaly that just started at the top of 2026 because Parker Washington has now gone five straight games with
6:25at least five receptions and 80 or more receiving yards.
6:28Five straight games of 13 fantasy points as a floor.
6:31That's great math. You did it very quickly. Thank you.
6:34I appreciate that. That's legit. I mean, honestly, at this point, he is not just like a potential flex like we thought maybe we were getting.
6:42Right. I'm not sure he's even a low end wide receiver two at this point.
6:47I think Parker Washington has proven with his connection and the fact that he is the number one pass catcher for Trevor Lawrence.
6:54He's at least a high end wide receiver two, if not a low end wide receiver one, especially once bye weeks get here in a couple of weeks.
7:03And the matchups ease. He's been able to avoid tough matchups, though, because he did fantastically well against Pat Sertan and the Broncos defense last week.
7:11In fact, his 12 targets tied a career high, but it's not just the volume like the go to guyness that's helping him out.
7:19I think he's avoiding that tougher coverage because of his deployment.
7:22Sure. He is working currently as the Jaguars primary slot receiver.
7:26Yeah. Which should help him out this week when he avoids.
7:29Christian Gonzalez. That's right. Yes. Which will be really nice.
7:32Where do you have him ranked? I've got Parker Washington as wide receiver 11 this week.
7:38Same, same. Really? Yes. So low end wide receiver one for fantasy purposes, even in a tough matchup.
7:43I love it when we're on the same page.
7:46I'm with you on that one. Another thing Liz and I are on the same page on, you should leave a review
7:53and like this video because it helps other people be able to find it, which means the world to us.
7:59And make sure you leave us a voicemail. We are getting tons of voicemail.
8:04We want all of your questions for week four.
8:06Week four lineup questions. That's right. If you have a cash out or crash out, you can leave that too.
8:13But we would like to answer your week four questions on next week's show.
8:17Three, two, three, three, nine, one, four, eight, five, five.
8:20You know what that noise means, my friends. That's right, Liz Loza.
8:24Time for the Doppler radar. Paying a little bit of respect to my heritage and culture, Daniel Dopp.
8:30Obviously, my great, great, great, great, great grandfather who actually invented the Doppler radar.
8:34Invented the Doppler. You know what? There's a lot to explain.
8:38The system. But just trust me that it happened.
8:40Yeah. So there's a whole thing there. Science. A couple of guys on my mind.
8:45Someone's got to stand up for the sciences nowadays, Liz.
8:48Yep. Okay. So let's talk about Tyler Shuck because he's on my radar after the first two weeks, Liz.
8:54Yeah, he's been a mad fantasy scientist on the field.
8:57Look at you. I love Tyler Shuck coming into the season.
9:01I had him as my QB 13 in draft season.
9:04I was the only one that had him inside my top 13 at the QB spot.
9:09Flex on, boy. And I love this kid. Everything you saw at the end of last year, I was buying thinking that
9:16it was only going to get better. This year, they added Jordan Tyson, who we haven't even seen on the field yet.
9:23And he has looked fantastic. Using his legs a little bit.
9:26Over 22 fantasy points. In back-to-back games. We knew that he was probably going to do that against the Lions because of the game script.
9:34But watching him do that against the Baltimore Ravens was huge for his fantasy value.
9:39And especially with the three quarterbacks that we have that have gone down.
9:43And the way that, unfortunately, QB just works out this year.
9:47He needs to be rostered and on squads because he is going to be a starting quarterback, especially once bye weeks get here.
9:54Tyler Shuck is firmly on my radar, not just in week three, but in all of the weeks after that as well.
10:01I love it. I can't believe that he is currently the QB1 in passing yards.
10:06How great is that? And the QB8 in completion percentage.
10:09Yeah. When you're completing 69% of your passes. Pretty nice.
10:12It is. And you lead the NFL in passing yards and you're second in pass attempts, that means you're doing something right.
10:19So all in. Also, his connection with Chris Olave.
10:22Brilliant. On point. Chris Olave, though, a contortionist in the air.
10:25Dude's great. Makes every quarterback look fantastic. But yes, to your point, I have Shuck as my QB6 going into a matchup against the Raiders in week three.
10:34If I played football, I'd wear the Guardian cap like Chris Olave does.
10:38Oh, Hundo. But I think he's the only one that makes it look cool.
10:42Yeah. I agree. I agree. What about you? I want to talk about Emmitt Johnson.
10:47Oh, girl. He should be on the radar. Yes.
10:50Yeah, yeah. On the radar. Like, we're not starting him in week one necessarily.
10:54Although. Well, it's week three. So we wouldn't have started him in week one.
10:59We're not starting him in week one. Week two.
11:02Probably not. Probably not week three either. Though his role has increased over each outing.
11:06The Kansas City Chiefs, though, are 11 and a half point favorites against the Dolphins.
11:11So it wouldn't surprise me if assuming the game script goes Kansas City's way, Emmitt Johnson won't find a little bit of run.
11:18And part of that has to do with the way that Kenneth Walker III has been utilized over his career.
11:25I just kind of want to go over some of this because obviously KW3 has been absolute money over the first two weeks of the season.
11:33He's also touched the ball a whole heck of a lot.
11:36Let's talk about 2022. 17 touches per game. Six games over 20 touches.
11:40Missed two games. 2023. 16 and a half touches per game.
11:44Four games over 20 touches. Missed two games. Are you sensing a pattern here?
11:48I'm sensing a pattern. 2024. 18.1 touches per game.
11:51Three games over 20 touches. Missed six games. 2025.
11:54Career low. 14.8 touches per game. Zero games over 20 touches.
11:57Played all 17. Played the whole year. And we hated it for fantasy.
12:01But the Seattle Seahawks loved it for real football and obvious longevity.
12:05So far in 2026. 26 touches in week one.
12:0830 touches in week two. That's too much. That's a lot.
12:11So what happens down the road? I don't know.
12:14I don't want to jinx anything. But I know that if I have Emmett Johnson, who Andy Reid said could earn a
12:21larger role in this offense as the season progresses.
12:24Because he's been, he's flashed so well over the first two weeks.
12:28I want to shore up that security right now.
12:31I don't usually like to think ahead too much.
12:33I like to live more in the present. But Emmett Johnson, the talent, the opportunity, the offense with which he is attached.
12:40Yeah. Security now. I'm with you on that one.
12:43I think you said he's available in... 80%. Over 80% of ESPN Fantasy League right now.
12:48So a bunch of leagues. If you don't jump on him now...
12:52He's going to be gone. That's the thing. Or you're going to blow your whole fab budget on him if you need to or when the time comes.
13:01If you wait until... And fingers crossed. We don't want anything to happen to KW3.
13:06Hundo. But if he does miss time like he has in other previous years, then you're going to be fighting every other
13:13league manager to be able to grab him off waiver wires.
13:16But if you have that spot at the end of your bench now, which the end of your bench is meant for
13:23high upside players that could give you some week-to-week advantages, grab him now and let him sit until it's time to use him.
13:30I'm kind of doing that a little bit on Denzel Boston, Liz.
13:34Although I might even be using him. I don't know.
13:37I'm trying to figure this one out because Denzel Boston needs to be added.
13:42Should not be on waivers. Needs to be on rosters with the way that he has looked.
13:47He's the only one that seems to have a connection right now with Deshaun Watson.
13:52Two for 59 and a touchdown in week one.
13:54Five for 95 and a touchdown in week two.
13:57Led the team with seven targets this week. And when you think about not only Denzel Boston, but what these Carolina Panthers
14:04have done so far this year, they've looked great.
14:07I've seen Carolina look fantastic. That's who they're playing this week.
14:10I've seen Carolina look fantastic on the other side.
14:13And so I look at, again, there's another situation in which I think...
14:17There could be a lot of ping-ponging? Cleveland's going to have to throw the football.
14:22I don't think this is a quench on Judkins game.
14:25I don't think this is a game in which we see a lot of the running game do stuff.
14:31I think this is going to be another situation in which, in order for Cleveland to stay in this, they're going to have to throw the ball.
14:40And at the beginning of the season, we all thought it was going to be Casey Concepcion for a little bit because
14:47he gave us these tantalizing, awesome things in the preseason for a couple of cool snapshots.
14:52Similar to what Travian Henderson did to us last year.
14:55We needed that 100-yard return for a touchdown and made all of us overdraft him in fantasy football.
15:01But it's Denzel Boston that has looked good through the first two weeks.
15:05The dude has a huge body. And if he can look good right now with Deshaun Watson when no one else looks
15:12good with Deshaun Watson, and we're waiting for what is in our mind the potential fantasy savior of Shadur Sanders, who's in
15:18my mind like a little mini Jameis Winston. Okay.
15:21Like that's where Denzel Boston is going to vibe.
15:24So I've got another guy you need to grab, even if you're not starting him this week, though I would consider it, needs to be on rosters.
15:33Because of that potential marriage of skill sets, because Boston is the only player converting on the team, particularly downfield.
15:39Yes. Three catches of 15 or more yards, also the wide receiver 13 in fantasy points per target.
15:45I'm with you. That's legit. And I would not have thought that Denzel Boston would have been the best rookie wide receiver
15:52through the first two weeks of the season. That's because when you think you know something, you find out that you know nothing at all.
15:59This is a safe place. It's a place where we can feel free sharing our feelings.
16:04Thanks. Dopp, we have a lot of great submissions for week three.
16:08Why don't you start reading them off? That's the whole intro to the segment?
16:13That's what you brought to the table? That's what I did.
16:16Okay. I mean, there's a card and it went fantasy therapy, so I don't want to be redundant.
16:22No, that's fair. That's fair. We got the first one.
16:25The first one's a GM. Jess the Face 75 wants to know, Bucky versus Minnesota or Basial Tootin against the Patriots in the flex spot?
16:33Yeah, I'm going to take the running back that's not a part of a four-man committee, one Bucky Irving, which is not
16:40something I thought I would have said in August, but that's my answer.
16:44What about you? I think I would go with Bucky over Basial Tootin.
16:48That's what I said. I don't. Oh, okay. But I don't feel good about it because I don't want to play anybody ever against a Brian Flores defense.
16:57As someone in the NFC North. Yeah, I just experienced it.
17:00I know. Thank you very much. I'm sorry. I apologize.
17:03We should move on. But yes, we both will take Bucky.
17:07It's not like the Patriots are an easy matchup for Tootin, though.
17:11No. No. I agree with you. Yes. We're on the same page with that one.
17:15That has a bomb? A what? Hey, y'all. This is Scott from Los Angeles, and I'm wondering if it's time to hit
17:22the week two panic button and blow up the team.
17:25Things have started out not great. Looking at 0-4 in a victory scoring league.
17:30What do I do? I have Jackson Dart, Ramonda Stevenson, Kyron Williams, Drake London, Fukunakua, Roma Dunze, Colton Loveland, and Michael Pittman on the IR.
17:38Things have not looked good. The facts are bad.
17:40The feelings are worse. Help me out. So I do appreciate that this guy is like, I'm not going to quit.
17:47Yeah. Like, how do I start? Do I blow it all up?
17:51Where do I start tweaking? Where do I begin the recovery process?
17:55I will validate all your feelings, and the fact is, this is a very unlucky squad.
18:00I am with you, girl. A man that is willing to have some self-reflection and get better is someone I'm willing to
18:07invest in, so let's make this guy's team better.
18:09Scott, at the quarterback spot, if you got Jackson Dart, you can just straight up cut him now, unfortunately.
18:15It sucks to say that. Definitely out for the season.
18:19I guess if I'm looking at anyone on the waiver wire, it's probably Bryce Young.
18:23I'm assuming Tyler Shuck is already. I'll take a quick look while you...
18:27Geno Smith also has not been horrible if you can't...
18:31I mean, you need to have somebody to start.
18:33This week plays the Detroit Lions and wouldn't be a bad...
18:37If you were just going through the streaming option this week, I agree with you.
18:42This week would be not a bad option as a streamer.
18:45Other quarterbacks in under 50% of leagues? Yes, the guys that we mentioned.
18:49There's no one else that you really want. We'll get running backs for him.
18:54Ramondre Stevenson and Kyron Williams. I think you keep Williams.
18:57He looked fire. Stevenson is going to have his weeks when Henderson doesn't.
19:01That's just not a priority position of need on this squad.
19:04Drake London hopefully will be better with Michael Penix back.
19:07You have to hold. Puka Nakua, you may or may not start.
19:11It depends on the issue. Romadunze. That one's different.
19:14And Michael Pittman. So, Colson Loveland... You've got to pick up someone off of the waiver wire here, though.
19:20I'm going to keep holding on Colson Loveland. It's the tight end position because of the position you've got to hold.
19:27Romadunze. But there are options on the waiver. Dontavian Wicks is an option you can grab off the waiver wire.
19:33Yeah. Aidy Mitchell is a... I like Aidy Mitchell.
19:36The Jets have your Lions this week, so that should be a back and forth.
19:40You keep mentioning my Lions for the good matchups.
19:43Why are you doing that, Liz? Their defense is very injured and not good.
19:48Okay, that's fair. Yes. I don't think that you should...
19:51You don't give man this early. I don't think you need to blow up your roster, but you do need to make some heavy investment in changes.
19:59Not because you did anything poorly. No. But that's just the way that fantasy football has worked out for you this year.
20:06Scott, I wish you the best. Yeah. Hopefully, the fantasy gods are much better.
20:11Roll up those sleeves. You got this. What a comeback story it's going to be.
20:15Yes. Check back in with us in week eight and let us know what you look like.
20:21All right. Colby Regg wants to know, do we trust Tank Bigsby against the Bears if Saquon sits this week?
20:27It's a good matchup. Yep. I think, ultimately, you have to, even though Will Shipley is going to be involved because you
20:34know that Bigsby will have the majority of goal line opportunities.
20:37That's it for me. And so we like the touchdown equity, and the Bears are generous in that regard.
20:43And it feels like the Eagles' offense has been a little bit more explosive.
20:48Devonta Smith looked great this last week, and you've seen that passing game.
20:52So there is a decent chance for it. Well, that did help a little bit.
20:57I mean, but the Bears' defense isn't... Anyway, it doesn't matter.
21:00Yes, is your short answer. Funky Kingston 720. Do I start someone from the not first place Bears without Caleb against the Eagles?
21:07A lot of questions about the Bears this week.
21:10Yeah, well, same, same. Yeah, you start DeAndre Swift.
21:13That's the one, for sure. I mean, I'm starting Colson Loveland too, but the one that I'm starting with confidence is still going to be DeAndre Swift.
21:22Yes. Also, really quickly, Tyson Bagent is in the concussion protocol, which would mean if he were not to pass it, Case
21:28Keenum would be the Bears' starting quarterback. That's cool.
21:31All right, next one up. EllisYork99 really have to say that Coke Zero is superior to Diet Coke.
21:37Liz? I got this message a bunch. Why? Because I posted a picture of me in a Diet Coke sweatshirt.
21:43Yeah, yeah. I guess people really like Coke Zero.
21:46I am a purist, but I also believe in staying open.
21:50So, side note, if the Coca-Cola company would like to send me some free cases of Diet Coke, Coke Zero, vanilla Coke,
21:56cherry, whatever you want, I'll do like a taste test and, you know, verify.
22:01But yeah, sure. I'll try Coke Zero next time, guys.
22:04I want to do that. Okay. No one ever yells at me on the internet.
22:09Everyone's usually pretty nice. Well, welcome. Never mind. Okay, so one of our listeners named Luke called into our voicemail line, and he's living in Los Angeles.
22:17I obviously live in Los Angeles. And he was wondering if I knew of any Lions baddies that he could maybe watch a game with.
22:25As it so happens, one of my closest friends is a Lions baddie.
22:29I am a single Lions fan here in L.A.
22:32and looking to connect with maybe some possible Lions baddies out here in the West Coast.
22:37So I am being 100% with you right now.
22:40One of my closest friends is a Lions fan who is from Detroit.
22:44She goes to the Lions bars every Sunday. She's got the blue nails.
22:48Let me tell you, like, she reps. She plays fantasy.
22:51She is I-N-I-T in it. And now we have Luke and my friend Jess on a call to do a little meet cute.
22:59So I'm going to say three, two, one. And when I hit one, I'd like you both to turn on your cameras.
23:05Three. Wait, do we turn off our cameras while they do?
23:09Or do our cameras stand? No, no, no. Our cameras stand because we are on camera talent.
23:14Because we got to see them. Okay. Yeah, okay.
23:17Okay. Got it. So three, two, one. Oh, my gosh.
23:20This is so easy, you guys. Hi. Jess. Jess, this is Luke.
23:24It's nice to meet you. It's nice to meet you, Jess.
23:27Do you guys have any questions for each other off the bat?
23:31How long have you lived in L.A.? Yeah. That's a good one.
23:35Yeah. 11 years. I was just telling them last, whatever it was.
23:39September 8th was my 11-year anniversary. Well, happy anniversary.
23:42Likewise. Or how about you? I've been here for 20 years.
23:45Oh, wow. Right on. Okay. So you've seen a lot of change.
23:49The rise, the fall, everything in between. Oh, I have a question.
23:53Can I ask a question? Yeah, this is great.
23:56How long does it take you to grow that mustache?
23:59Oh, man. You can appreciate this, Dop. I usually have it a lot more trimmed.
24:03And then I've been growing it out for this thing.
24:07And it's my fault I haven't been able to shave it yet.
24:10But yeah, this has been probably growing for about two months.
24:14Okay. All right. I like it. Two months. That's not bad.
24:17I mean, not for nothing. Jess is a professional hairdresser and beard groomer.
24:21Okay. So. It looks good. Thank you. Thank you.
24:24All right. Okay. So anyone who listens to the show, Luke, you might know that it is customary when we have a
24:31guest on to play a little game called fact or feeling.
24:35I will read a statement and then you both will answer as to whether or not you think that's a fact or a feeling.
24:42Cool. Sounds good. All right. So we're going to go ahead and play.
24:46And we'll begin with the first question. Talking about your ex on a first date is a guaranteed way not to get a second date.
24:54Fact or feeling? Fact. Fact. Yep. Okay. We're doing well.
24:57That's pretty good. Question number two. Barry Sanders is and always will be the greatest running back of all time.
25:04Fact or feeling? Fact. Fact. Fact. 100. Luke was really quick on the uptake there, though.
25:09Yeah, yeah. I won't say fact or feeling now.
25:11You got the hang of it. All right. I appreciate it.
25:15All right. Casual restaurants are more enjoyable than fancy restaurants.
25:18Yeah. Fact. Okay. Now, wait a second. Luke said fact and Jessica said...
25:22Which isn't either fact or feeling, Jessica. Listen, Daniel.
25:25I think it can ride... Casual is great. Okay.
25:28I like it. Casual is great. It's so interesting.
25:31You know, we can ride the line. I think it all depends on the cuisine, the occasion, the company.
25:37A lot of factors. Yeah, there you go. The ambiance.
25:40Yeah. See? He gets it. Yeah. Okay. All right.
25:43Luke gets it. All right. Let's see if he gets this next one.
25:47Dan Campbell will win at least one Super Bowl as the head coach of the Lions.
25:52Okay. I want to say it's a fact. But after this last game...
25:56Oh! She's a true Lions fan. I'll tell you that much right now.
26:00If I... That is what we sound like right there.
26:03You know, it's been a long road and a hard one at that.
26:07So, I do believe in this man, but... I just feel like it's got to be...
26:12When you play the analytics of how young our core is, you know, chances are more than likely it's got to hit
26:19one of these years as long as we keep...
26:22You know, as long as we keep them. I don't know.
26:25I need it. I need it for my soul.
26:28Yeah. That's a fact. Perfect. Tequila is the best liquor to put in cocktails.
26:33It's between that or whiskey for me, yeah. So, feeling?
26:36Okay. Okay. Okay. That's fine. I mean, I knew Jess's answer because we might have tied a few on a couple of times.
26:43Girl, you remember your birthday at Boulevard? Vaguely. Vaguely.
26:46Me too. I don't know. That's the answer. That's the answer.
26:49Vodka also is my other answer. Seeing that. We do love a dirty martini.
26:54We do. Okay. Ted Lasso is one of the most well-written and heartfelt shows on television.
26:59Fact. Fact. Yeah. Yeah. I was Ted Lasso for Halloween a few years ago, so I feel like I have to say that.
27:06Oh, Luke. That's awesome. And one of my best friends, shout out Kevin, he's a Packers fan.
27:11He was the first person to look into the fact that the current Dan Campbell Lions are very much AFC Richmond.
27:18That's a fair point. Like, same vibe. Are we watching the new season?
27:22I haven't. I'm an episode behind. Okay. Luke, you gotta lock in.
27:26I don't. Wait, are you watching the new season?
27:29Yeah. Oh, I don't. Maybe I'm the weird one.
27:32I don't watch seasons until they're all the way done and then I can binge them all at once.
27:38Oh, but it's a whole new vibe now. Like, he's back in England.
27:42He's coaching the women's Richmond team. No, I understand.
27:44That has nothing to do with how I consume the media.
27:48I just want to wait until everything is done and then I can watch them all at once.
27:54Well, this is. It's cool that the story is what it is, though.
27:58This is not about us, though, Daniel. No, sorry.
28:00All right, let's get back to it. Michigan is the best state in the Midwest.
28:05Fact. Oh, yes. Show us where you're from. She did it.
28:09Oh, she did it. She did the Michigan Mitten.
28:12Before Jess got on here, I literally did that.
28:14Oh, this is how we know. I love it.
28:17I love the camera, though. This way. I can't hold the camera and do it all at the same time.
28:23But yeah, maybe you could use some help next time.
28:27Daniel Dopp is your favorite Celebrity Lions fan. You can be honest, Jess.
28:31Come on, Jess. Thanks. Jess, I appreciate you. Thank you so much.
28:34Unless you call me out again, then I might have to change you.
28:39I would never, for what it's worth. I have some stiff competition.
28:42Keegan, Michael Key, Jack White, Eminem. There you go.
28:45I do go. I hope I'm not speaking out of school here.
28:49I hope he wouldn't mind me saying this. But I do go way back with Tim Robinson.
28:54And he is. Shut up. Yeah. Who's that? Tim, I think you should leave.
28:59I think you should leave. If you don't know who Tim Robinson is.
29:03Is he the guy who was dating Susan Sarandon forever?
29:06Is he the guy? That's Tim Robinson. Is that Susan?
29:09Oh. Oh my gosh. I'm so embarrassed for you right now.
29:13I don't know. Jess, do you know who Tim Robinson is?
29:16I don't think so. See? Oh. Ladies. I know.
29:19Tim Robinson, you don't know why I think you should leave?
29:22Liz, here. Oh, I thought you were actually telling me to leave.
29:26My own show? Oh, is this that 50 Burgers guy?
29:29Don't. Liz. Okay. The only reason I know him is because Mike Clay only quotes him.
29:34Okay. Anyway, back to you guys. I don't think either one of you should leave.
29:39In fact, I think you should both meet up with your mutual friend groups this coming Sunday at that Silver Lake bar
29:46that is a Lions bar that I will not drop the name of for your own, you know, private reasons.
29:52What do you guys think? Yeah. I'm down. Yeah?
29:55Yeah! Okay. I actually went there for the Thursday night game, and I didn't know Jess's name, so I was just like
30:02asking random people, hi, are you Liz's friend? Are you Liz's friend?
30:06That's so cute. That's adorable. Oh my gosh. I actually wasn't there.
30:10I was at work. Oh, it's actually with Liz.
30:12Believe it or not. She did my hair. Yeah.
30:15Oh, we should tell everybody that Jess is the creator of and the maintainer of this cowboy girl copper.
30:21Hey. That's my girl. Well done. Well done. Jess turned me into a redhead and convinced me to do it.
30:28Yes. We single-handedly, Jess, I'm not kidding. We saw a 14% increase in ESPN fantasy signups, and it correlated specifically with her getting this cowboy copper hair color.
30:36Yeah. Like switch from blonde to this red has been a topic, and it's Jess who has done it and maintains it every four to five weeks.
30:45I mean- You're crushing it, girl. We're so good at her job, so it's not me that she's killing it over there.
30:52She's such a boss babe. Yeah, she is. Sweetheart.
30:55Yeah. Well, this is one of my best friends.
30:57This is also one of my best friends, and this has been one of my best experiences of this most recent trip to Bristol.
31:05I will hope to see both of you. I will come, assuming that I can make the schedule work, because Daniel and
31:12I do have a show that comes out on Sunday nights and records on Sunday nights, but I will make a point,
31:19since I will be back in L.A. by then, to come to the bar on Sunday, maybe buy you guys some drinks,
31:26take a few selfies, and then we'll follow up on next week's episode about those goings on.
31:31Sound good? Sounds good. Great. Okay. I love it.
31:34All right. Well, thank you guys both for joining us, and we'll see you soon, and I can't believe I'm going to say this, but go Lions.
31:42Last call. Today, we learned that Chris Olave is a contortionist in the air, that flashing the Michigan mitten is an adorable
31:49way to flirt, and that just when you think you know something, you know nothing at all.
31:55Remember, clarity is a myth in fantasy football, so just enjoy and revel in the unfolding.
32:00Be sure to check out my Week 3 edition of Facts vs.
32:04Feelings, The Column, which is currently live on the dot com, and please leave us a voicemail.
32:09We love those Week 4 lineup questions. The number to call is 323-391-4855.
32:13Until next time, may your facts be solid, your feelings be right, and your bust be someone else's problem.
