AJ Dillon

NegativeRole21:21

AJ Dillon is currently serving as the RB2 in Carolina.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeValue29:00

Alvin Kamara is the priority add in the Saints backfield, though expectations should be tempered as he is no longer an effective runner. He is a flex option in 12-team leagues.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection49:19

Bo Nix is trending up after a 24.1-point performance, but his lack of rushing production is concerning. He is a 'cut bait' as a starter for now, especially with a tough matchup against San Francisco, but he remains a hold on rosters.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveValue25:15

Braelon Allen is the priority waiver wire add at running back for Week 4. He played all 17 snaps after Breece Hall's injury. While he has struggled with efficiency (3.7 YPC career average), he is a must-add in 10-team leagues.

Insight page
PositiveValue35:48

The source suggests prioritizing Braylon Allen if you are in a difficult running back situation and need immediate help.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeInjury25:04

Breece Hall is dealing with a groin/thigh injury and is considered week-to-week; fantasy managers should plan on him being out for Week 4.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveUsage40:44

Brock Bowers is being deployed primarily as a wide receiver, playing only 12% of his snaps as an inline tight end. He is considered the Raiders' top receiver.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeInjury26:55

Bucky Irving got banged up during his Week 3 performance.

Insight page

Case Keenum

PositiveProjection22:18

Case Keenum finished as a top-five fantasy quarterback for Week 3, though the source does not recommend putting in a waiver claim for him in standard 10 or 12-team leagues.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveProjection27:26

Chris Olave scored 19.7 fantasy points, with the source praising his talent level.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeRole12:03

Colston Loveland is viewed as a fringe tight end one or a borderline starter. He has struggled with target volume, seeing only four targets out of 34 pass attempts in his last game.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

PositiveValue56:03

Courtland Sutton has been a disappointment with only eight catches through three games, leading the source to suggest he is droppable or at least benchable in favor of waiver wire options. While he maintains a 23% target share and leads receivers in end-zone targets, the source notes the Denver offense is too crowded and inconsistent to rely on him.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

NegativeRole21:52

Dallas Goedert is missed in the Eagles' offense, and the return of Zach Ertz as a middle-of-the-field outlet could impact his future outlook.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

NegativeMatchup44:48

Daniel Jones is a potential streaming consideration against the Commanders, who have allowed 11 passing touchdowns, though his poor eye test performance makes him a risky start.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeInjury22:50

Devon Achane is out for the season due to injury.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeUsage42:15

Deebo Samuel scored 15.4 fantasy points on 80 receiving yards and a touchdown, but the lack of a recorded reception caused some fantasy managers to lose their matchups in half-PPR formats.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeValue46:47

Drake Maye is a 'cut bait' as a starter for now due to poor performance, but he should not be dropped from rosters. He has upside based on his rushing pace and past pedigree, with a favorable schedule approaching in Week 7.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveUsage27:14

George Kittle scored 26.2 fantasy points in Week 3, bolstered by two late touchdowns from Brock Purdy.

Insight page

Isaiah Davis

NegativeUsage26:06

Isaiah Davis played zero snaps in the 17 plays following Breece Hall's injury, making him less desirable than Braelon Allen despite his 5.6 career YPC.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveProjection3:46

The source suggests J.J. McCarthy's historical struggles targeting wide receivers and running backs, combined with his success targeting tight ends, creates a positive case for Isaiah Likely's fantasy outlook.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeDepth Chart2:24

The Giants acquired J.J. McCarthy for a fifth-round pick. While he is not starting immediately, he is a potential future starter. Historically, McCarthy had the sixth-best passer rating when targeting tight ends last season, but ranked 33rd when throwing to running backs and wide receivers.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveProjection38:38

Jacoby Brissett is a viable streaming option for the next two weeks against the Giants and Lions, with potential to reach low-end QB1 status in Week 5.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection17:08

Jalen Hurts has fallen to a fringe QB1 tier. He is not running the ball as much as in previous seasons, which is a significant concern for his fantasy value.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeRole2:20

Jameis Winston remains the starting quarterback for the New York Giants for now, though the team's acquisition of J.J. McCarthy suggests a potential change in the future.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveBreakout55:46

Despite a slow start to the first three weeks, the source remains optimistic about Jameson Williams, noting he is on the field constantly in a high-scoring Lions offense. The source suggests buying low on him, as he has a history of slow starts and the Lions have one of the easiest remaining schedules.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeRole33:22

Jalen Wright is expected to be involved in the Miami backfield alongside Ollie Gordon.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

PositiveRole8:30

If Justin Jefferson is unable to play this weekend against Miami, Jordan Addison becomes a very interesting fantasy start after scoring 20 points last week.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeInjury7:09

Justin Jefferson is dealing with an ankle sprain. While imaging was good and he avoided long-term injury, there is uncertainty regarding his availability for Sunday, as players reported to have avoided major injuries have recently missed time.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

PositiveUsage10:37

Kalief Raymond continues to see significant usage, recording seven targets in the recent game. The source notes he is a good player who is currently producing at a level he has never reached before in his career.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeValue44:29

Keenan Allen is only worth an end-of-bench stash; the source expresses skepticism about his consistency in the Colts' offense given his unproductive target volume last season.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeUsage30:55

Kendre Miller will be involved in the Saints' committee backfield following Travis Etienne's injury.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

NegativeDepth Chart60:17

Kenny Gainwell is viewed as a high-quality insurance back to hold on benches, despite his snap share dropping to 44% and a lack of consistent touches. The source notes that while he is not currently startable, he remains a valuable stash in case Bucky Irving misses time due to his injury history.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

PositiveBreakout39:22

Kenyon Sadiq is a must-add off waivers due to his high pedigree as a first-round talent, his current ninth-place ranking in fantasy points per game among tight ends, and the thin pass-catching corps on the Jets.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveUsage57:38

Kyle Pitts has seen a massive decline in usage, with his snap share dropping from 88% last year to 54% this year, and his target share falling from 23% to 8%. The source considers him droppable in most formats, noting he is currently not startable and was even available on waivers in their 10-team league.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveValue39:09

Kyler Murray is available in 40% of leagues and is in a great spot to have a breakout fantasy game against Miami this week.

Insight page

Laquon Treadwell

NegativeRole21:13

Laquon Treadwell was very busy in the Colts offense, though Darius Slayton could potentially take on a larger role.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveUsage11:51

Luther Burden is identified as the Bears wide receiver with the most fantasy confidence, coming off a game where he scored a touchdown.

Insight page

Marcus Mariota

PositiveUsage36:22

Marcus Mariota is a top-tier streaming option for the upcoming week due to his rushing upside and a favorable matchup against the Colts. He was QB12 on a per-game basis last season when filling in for Jaden Daniels.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

NegativeValue32:20

Ollie Gordon is a deep-bench flyer in Miami's struggling offense. He played 82% of snaps after Achane's injury but has a 2.7 career YPC and faces tough matchups against Minnesota and Cincinnati.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeProjection58:41

Quinchon Judkins has struggled with six straight games under 11 fantasy points and a lack of goal-line opportunities, with only one carry inside the 10-yard line. While the source remains hesitant to start him, they suggest keeping him rostered as a flex option, hoping the offense's improved competency will eventually lead to better production.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

NegativeRole12:07

Rome Odunze is currently a bench player for fantasy purposes. Despite six targets in his last game, he dropped a wide-open touchdown pass and is not considered a starter until his connection with Caleb Williams improves.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeUsage19:04

Saquon Barkley has been downgraded from an elite fantasy running back. While he remains efficient as a runner, he is losing goal-line work to Jalen Hurts' 'tush push' and is no longer catching passes, with Will Shipley taking over passing-down duties.

Insight page

Skyy Moore

NegativeUsage21:09

Skyy Moore was busy and should continue to be until Jayden Reed returns to the offense.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeInjury24:38

Travis Etienne is out with a hamstring injury that could keep him sidelined for a couple of weeks.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

PositiveValue35:00

Zach Charbonnet is a priority add and the most valuable rest-of-season running back on waivers. He is available in about 50% of leagues and should see 15+ carries per game.

Insight page
PositiveValue35:33

The source identifies Zach Charbonnet as the most valuable rest-of-season player to target on waivers, projecting he will be very busy in the second half of the season.

0:00You and the 06010 What's good, friends? Welcome to Fantasy Focus Football alongside Mike Clay and Field Yates.
0:05My name is Daniel Dopp. Very excited to be here with you guys.
0:08How you doing, Field? You know, I'm feeling a little bit more aerodynamic myself these days, Daniel.
0:13Yeah, you know, I shaved this morning. I can see that?
0:16Yeah, sort of. Did you? Did you? I shaved, you know, I'm just...
0:19Like an electric shaver? I've heard that, you know, the less hair you have on your body, the more aerodynamic you are.
0:25Oh, is that what you hear, huh? What I hear?
0:28That's what you hear. That'll make more sense a little bit.
0:31We'll talk about that a little bit later on in the show.
0:34We have a lot of stuff to get to in today's show.
0:37Hello, Michael. Oh, hi. We have a lot of stuff to get to in today's show.
0:41No, I'm trying to delete the box score from Monday Night Football.
0:45Oh, I know. I'm sorry. I wish you could.
0:47Can you just delete it and then it goes away and you don't have to think about it?
0:52Wild. It was a wicked football game, unfortunately. Make it quick because I don't want to talk about it.
0:57Yeah, we're going to obviously dive into the Monday Night Football recap.
1:00We also have our starts of the week we got to talk about, our long shots to check in on.
1:06We got knockout leagues we're going to talk about, waiver wire targets in week four and a very fun segment at the
1:11end of the show called Fish or Cut Bait.
1:14Guys, we're deciding, are we going to keep rolling with?
1:17Are we going to cut them loose to our bench?
1:19You start fishing and suddenly we're doing fishing segments.
1:22I didn't even bring it up. This was field's idea.
1:24But I was motivated. I knew that if I pitched the segment.
1:28Yes. He would say, absolutely, I'm doing it. You knew that I would captain it.
1:32I'd be the captain of your idea. I'm the captain now.
1:34Okay. All right. Hey, speaking of being a new captain, let's talk about some news that we got yesterday, guys.
1:40Jameis Winston still going to be the starting quarterback of the New York football Giants.
1:44Now. For now. But J.J. McCarthy moving over, cost a fifth round draft pick from the Vikings.
1:48Curious how you guys feel, if any change at all, with this move and what it could mean for the Giants pass catchers moving forward.
1:55So this is a down the line thing, as you just said.
1:58Yes, obviously not right now. Jameis is going to start.
2:01This is deep cut stuff. Yep. But when you need deep cut stuff, who do you turn to?
2:06Kyle Soppy. Kyle Soppy. Yes. He did pass along to me, did Kyle.
2:09Okay. Shout out, Thirsty Kyle. Last season, when targeting tight ends, J.J.
2:13McCarthy had the sixth best passer rating in the entire NFL.
2:15All right. And T.J. Hockington wasn't a great factor last year.
2:18Mm-hmm. When looking at the quarterback rating for players when throwing to running backs and wide receivers, J.J.
2:23McCarthy ranked 33rd, which I believe was worst. So if you're looking for an Isaiah Likely case, I just made it for you.
2:29There you go. Also, if you're watching what was on the screen, that was a really good tweet.
2:34It was, who's the quarterback of the Giants? And a picture of Isaiah Likely.
2:38It's Likely 9 with his jersey. Likely 9. I wonder what uniform J.J.
2:41wears. This will be the most, probably like impactful uniform number change in quite some time.
2:46Yeah. It's like LeBron when he decided to go from 23 to 6.
2:49Yeah. Very. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It's a huge one for sure.
2:52I'm not sure about that. What? I mean, if you ask Vikings fans before yesterday, it's not a stretch at all.
2:58But now they're just like, okay, good. We don't have to defend this guy anymore.
3:02Look, his numbers so far, you know, I was looking yesterday, just 10 games with the Vikings, 11 touchdowns, 12 picks.
3:07The efficiency numbers for such a young quarterback are, you know, poor for an NFL starter, but like not awful.
3:13I mean, not, you know, 6.7 yards per attempt, 58% completion percentage.
3:16He also ran for 181 yards and four touchdowns in those games.
3:19Maybe there's hope here. Obviously, it didn't look great last year.
3:22Those numbers are probably a little better than he looked on out there on the field.
3:26So it's a dart throw by, no pun intended, by the Giants here.
3:30I'm surprised by it. I thought they'd go more of a veteran route just because what happens if he pans out?
3:35I mean, I guess it's good because you could trade him.
3:38Yeah. Exactly. You could always trade him if Jackson Dart comes back.
3:42Jackson Dart will come back next year. So interesting one for sure.
3:45But I think we're probably just a few weeks away from McCarthy being understood.
3:49Guys, you're burying the lead. He was 3-0 in his career against the NFC East.
3:53Oh, is that right? Undefeated against the new division he's going to be playing in.
3:57I mean, the Vikings defense was undefeated against the NFC East.
4:00Okay. Okay. Okay, Michael. It is amazing. Just a quick thing to say really fast, just because this is going to be the waiver show.
4:06Is there any reason or any league in which you guys...
4:09Okay. I just wanted to put it out there.
4:12Nope. Super flex, deep super flex leagues. Like three quarterback leagues.
4:15If you're in leagues where every quarterback that may start is rostered.
4:18So that's the only format. That's it. I have Tyson Bajan for perspective.
4:21Yes. Who may not even start at all this year.
4:24JJ McCarthy or Drake may rest of season. Stop it.
4:27Stop it. That's mean. Let's talk about Justin Jefferson.
4:29Yeah. Had an ankle injury. It was told... I mean, the coach said that he could have potentially come back if it
4:35was a game that was important enough for him to come back into.
4:38Have we had any updates? I haven't seen anything that says...
4:41There we go. From Ian Rappaport. Ian Rappaport says, has an ankle sprain with the imaging was good.
4:46Avoided anything long term. There is a chance to play on Sunday.
4:49The only thing that I would say about this, there's been multiple reports, including Ian's, is that we've had a few instances
4:55this year where players early in the week have been reported as having avoided a major injury and having a chance to play that week.
5:02And then? And then miss, you know, at least a week.
5:05You know, so obviously we'll see on Justin Jefferson.
5:07If he's in, you're going to play him. If he's out, and this is a great matchup against Miami, playing in Minnesota
5:13this weekend, then Jordan Addison becomes very interesting. He scored 20 points last week.
5:17All right. Anything else? Are you guys ready to dive into...
5:20I'm very sorry, Michael. Mike, I'm not ready for this at all.
5:23You have to go to the bathroom? Monday night football.
5:26Yeah, we're going to take a break. Yeah, that's just bad.
5:29This was a tough one. Embarrassing watch. Eagles and Bears.
5:31Did any of us have any faith in Case Keenum?
5:34Field did. I mean, yeah. Field liked him more than Bajan and picked the Bears.
5:38So props to you, sir. I, you know, this is one of them games watching Eagles slow start.
5:43You're like, okay, Keenum's getting away with some stuff.
5:45Just picking them apart. They'll adjust. And it started to trend that way.
5:49And the Eagles just kept making mistake after mistake.
5:51I mean, that was the hardest Eagles game to watch in years.
5:54I mean, that was a hard game to watch.
5:57If that was the worst team in the NFL, you'd be like, yeah, this checks out.
6:01Just constantly making errors like that. I mean, they could not help themselves.
6:05Embarrassing watch. And kind of hopefully a wake-up call for them because, you know, they barely got past the Titans.
6:10Barely got past the Commanders. And now getting smoked by a third-string quarterback is really bad luck.
6:15Succinctly, do you guys feel like we can buy a little more time before we draw final conclusions on the Bears players?
6:20Because Caleb Williams has basically played one game in real, like, there was terrible weather last week.
6:25He gets hurt during the game. I feel like there's still a chance that things turn around for this Bears offense.
6:31And we have increased confidence in some of the Seale guys.
6:34Do you agree with that or no? I both agree with that.
6:37And also don't know how to quantify if Kalief Raymond is just going to keep hanging around in a way that annoys us the entire season.
6:44You know, we are. I'm on a Lions group thread with you, of course, Daniel.
6:48And all the Lions fans in that thread were like, dude, Kalief's like a good player.
6:52He's just, Amon Ross St. Brown exists, so he wasn't ever going to have a huge role with Detroit.
6:57He was a good player. But he's like 32 and he's never had a production like this ever.
7:02I know! Like, this is kind of wild. It is wild.
7:05It's, like, I think he's a good player. I think what's more surprising is just how little the pass catchers in aggregate are doing.
7:11Except for Luther Burden. Yes, Luther Burden did have a nice night last night.
7:15He had his 8-yard touchdown catch. He, like, pushed the pile.
7:18The Bears pushed the pile into the end zone.
7:20That was cool. We might be feeling a little bit different about Colston Loveland or Roma Dunze if Loveland had slightly longer arms.
7:27Oh my gosh. Or if Roma Dunze didn't drop a pass wide open in the end zone.
7:31So, my personal stance here is that I think there's a chance when Caleb Williams is back after maybe a week or
7:37two of him getting reintegrated into this offense that we're talking about Colston Loveland relatively close to where we were talking about him coming into the season.
7:44Well, Case Keenum has more passing touchdowns than Drake, man.
7:47That's a tough stat. Oh, man. And I think Luther Burden and Roma Dunze, I think it's going to be a little bit of a trade-off situation.
7:54The Eagles are more interesting to me right now.
7:57Wait, until we get to that point, are you starting Roma Dunze?
8:00I am not. No, he's waiting. I mean, he's getting...
8:02He was wide receiver 49 for me coming into this week.
8:05Yeah, once again, Raymond's seven targets in this game.
8:08Dunze had six. I mean, he just continued... You can make a case to start Raymond over Dunze right now.
8:13You can't start Dunze right now. He has the talent that he belongs on benches.
8:17Now, you kind of have to hope that... Remember, he was injured leading up to the season almost in play week when
8:23you have to hope that he's getting back to 100%.
8:26At some point, he'll have that big breakout game.
8:28Again, to your point, he had an end zone target.
8:31Should have had a touchdown. It may come. He had six targets in this game, but he's not a starter right now.
8:37Yeah, Rome's a bench. And then Loveland and Burden both were like arrows trending up after season.
8:41I would still say Loveland on benches. I mean, I don't want to say...
8:45I mean, if you're in a tough spot, he's a borderline starter, but he's arguably like Dalton Schultz, Hunter Henry, Tucker Craft.
8:51He's in that tier right now. I mean, he had four targets out of 34 pass attempts.
8:55It's bad. That's not going to cut it. And that's been a trend three games in now.
9:00Yes, I agree. He's a trickier one. And I think if I have him, like the options in leagues where I have
9:06him are so limited, whereas at Doonsay, the pivots are so much more clear.
9:10The Doonsay, I wonder if at some point we'll have a conversation.
9:13It's not quite as dramatic given the circumstances in which they entered the league and were drafted.
9:17But it feels a little bit like Marvin Harrison Jr.
9:20right now. A little bit. You know, they were taking five spots apart.
9:24I hear you. I understand why you're upset about it.
9:26He at least had a string last year of really good games, which gives you some hope.
9:31But yeah, it's just not. Maybe not a string, but Marv's had some pockets, but not.
9:35Not quite. Not like Roman did to open last season.
9:38That first month he was, what, a top five fantasy receiver.
9:41And then it really sunk. I don't really know exactly what's gone wrong.
9:44I know that. And look, Caleb Williams' passing efficiency wasn't great last year.
9:48Like, he can do a lot. And he's a playmaker and added a lot of value with his legs.
9:53But he completed, what, like 59% of his passes.
9:55That's not a good number. Like, that connection between them two, once Caleb's back, is going to have to improve.
10:00So to put a pin in the Bears quickly.
10:03Yes. Colston Loveland, fringe tight end one. I mean, like, possible starter intensity.
10:06Yep, with you. Luther Burden, the Bears wide receiver I have the most confidence in.
10:10With you in lineups. Not too far behind that, Kalief Raymond.
10:13On benches for right now, Roman. Roman Dunze. Yep.
10:16For the Eagles, this one's frustrating. I mean, Mike, I'm sure is more frustrated.
10:19But, like, the eye test is not great. Jalen Hurts, late in week one through two touchdown passes.
10:24Last week was just okay. Where does Jalen Hurts generally tier right now amongst QBs?
10:28He's back. He's fallen to fringe QB1. He's not running that much either.
10:32It's a problem. Hardly running. Yeah. I mean, he was kind of built out last night by that last second at the
10:38end of the first half tush push. Yeah, absolutely was.
10:40Yeah, it wasn't good. They were, especially early in the game, it felt like they were going to get going.
10:46Like, it just seemed like they were starting to move the ball.
10:49There was something going on offensively. Devontae Smith obviously made some plays.
10:52That guy is ridiculous. But they just couldn't consistently get drives going.
10:55And that was the same thing that happened last year.
10:58So, you have to hope that it's just taking some time in the Sean Mannion offense.
11:02But it's not happening. Like, they can't drive down the field and score just like last year.
11:07It's a big problem. That sequence when he came off the field to get checked out for a concussion.
11:12And then Andy Dalton throws an interception at the goal line.
11:15That was not great. That felt like the turning point.
11:18There was a lot of time still left in the game.
11:20But to me, that felt like the turning point.
11:23Like, it was brutal. A friend of mine made a point who was a big Eagles fan as well.
11:28Like, the Eagles are carrying four quarterbacks. And like, your backup comes in and does that.
11:32I mean, what's the point of having all them quarterbacks?
11:35If you're going to step in for one play and throw it right to the defender, unacceptable.
11:39Yeah, not great there for the Eagles. And I talked about this, what, a week or two ago?
11:44Like, we've degraduated from elite running back for Saquon Barkley.
11:47Yeah. We just have. And it's not his fault.
11:49He ran, he was great in that game. I mean, the running lanes were massive.
11:53Props to the O-line. They should have just handed it off every play, honestly.
11:57Because the dude was unstoppable. Over five yards of carry.
12:00Yeah. But the two question marks, when we talked about this a couple weeks ago, were he's not going to get the goal line work.
12:07At least not to himself. Because the tush push is still allowed.
12:10The two goal line works they had was Jalen Hurts getting a touchdown and Andy Dalton throwing an interception, right?
12:15Those were the two goal line opportunities. And then Saquon doesn't catch passes anymore.
12:19One for a lot of two. Negative two receiving yards.
12:22Yeah, Will Shipley's playing a role in passing situations.
12:24Yeah, is that the second time this year he's lost yards in the game?
12:28Didn't he have negative receiving yards in week one as well?
12:31Him and Kai Lemon. There's too many negative receiving yards.
12:33Oh, man. Yeah. Are we getting at the point?
12:36I hear you. Where this passing offense is going to start to kind of mirror the Ravens with the way we look
12:42at it, where as much as we like Dontavian Wicks, he's kind of like the Rashad Bateman of this offense.
12:47Yeah, I mean, that's what we thought coming in.
12:49And that's the one thing we got right about this.
12:52I mean, we thought they'd score more. It's Devontae Smith.
12:55And then that's basically it. I know Wicks had a couple of pockets earlier, but I think that was more fluky than it is sustainable.
13:01Yeah, two for 32 in this game. I might be like trying to, is Wish cast a word?
13:06Wish, maybe. Sure, whatever. I'm trying to like, I don't know if this is like the person who has Dallas Goddard and
13:12kind of needs him in a high stakes league.
13:15Kind of feels like they miss him on offense.
13:17I could see. Yeah, I mean, Zach Ertz made his return last night.
13:20Didn't play a lot. It was his first game back.
13:23First game of the season. But yeah, definitely. Middle of the field outlet.
13:27It felt like, yeah. Maybe less likely to move on from him next offseason.
13:30Especially if Eli Stowers doesn't work out. Guys, I just really want to, last thing, very so fast.
13:35I want to give a quick shout out to Case Keenum.
13:38This dude came off of a bench. And he was a top five quarterback.
13:42The top five quarterbacks for this week? No way.
13:44Unbelievably, I don't want to say gross, but just not what you would have expected coming into the week.
13:49Yeah, we have a full screen here. Brock Purdy, number one.
13:52Sam Darnold, number two. Geno Smith, number three. Jacoby Brissett, number four.
13:55Case Keenum, number five. Those are your top five fantasy quarterbacks for week three.
13:59Here's the question, though. You're in a normal 10 or 12 team league.
14:03You putting a claim in for any of them?
14:05Assume Purdy's on a roster, not him. But like Darnold, Smith, Brissett, Keenum.
14:09Claim in any of those guys. We'll talk about Brissett a little bit later, but the rest of them are a no.
14:14I think the biggest thing for quarterbacks this year that I've noticed early, man alive to matchups matter this year.
14:20Oh, yes. Because there are some absolutely feastful, I made that word up again, we talked about this after when we did our week one rankings.
14:27We were like, why is a guy that's ranked like QB two or three so low?
14:31Because we said it's Josh Allen, and then there's this gigantic tier of quarterbacks.
14:35So matchup is going to swing these guys from 21 to seven some weeks.
14:39I mean, wait till you see the rankings tomorrow, because I have two guys in the top five or six who are outside the top 12 most weeks.
14:46So matchups are huge this year. Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss.
14:50It started with a kickoff, or perhaps it was love at first hike.
14:54But unfortunately, many of these football lovers don't live in the same city as their team, which is why Marriott Bonvoy has
15:00hotels close to nearly every NFL stadium, bringing fans closer to the teams they love with over 30 different hotel brands.
15:05So if you want to stay closer to your team, check in for game day with Marriott Bonvoy, the official sponsor of the NFL.
15:12We'll see you there. Every game day starts before the lights go up, before the snap, before the roar, something's already at work.
15:18Cleaner, quieter energy production, running where the game lives.
15:20Strong enough for fourth and goal, smart enough for what comes next, powering game day, powering the fans and powering the communities that show up every Saturday.
15:28The same energy that runs your stadium, runs the schools and the hospital in your neighborhood.
15:32That is performance, powered by Bloom Energy. Powering game days, powering communities.
15:35As you know, managing maintenance, repair and operations is never easy.

15:57Call 1-800-GRANGER, clickgrainger.com, or just stop by. Speaking of matchup guys, I tried to play matchups quite a bit when I did
16:03starts of the week here the other week. Whoops.
16:05Quick recap here, Field. We're going to start with you for this one.
16:09Here we are in week three. You started Tyler Shuck.
16:11He played very well again. Yep. Bucky Irving, Garrett Wilson absolutely smashed.
16:15And Travis Kelsey, only two catches, but he just keeps doing the thing.
16:18On the end zone. 72.2 total fantasy. I'll take that.
16:21Bucky obviously got banged up. Mike Clay. Scoring correction.
16:23I need a scoring correction. Uh-oh. How come? Because I lost by like one point.
16:27Oh, that's why. Okay. Not because there was actually a correct.
16:30Okay. Brock Purdy, 31.28. Mike got lucky because he played a DFS lineup.
16:34Had the stack with George Kittle. Those two late touchdowns.
16:3626.2 fantasy points for Kittle. Judkins and Tedderall McMillan both dudded, but 71.08.
16:40My starts of the week for this week. Patrick Mahomes against Miami.
16:43Oh, no. Chuba Hubbard. Nice. Also, only fine. Chris Olave, 19.7.
16:46Guy's so freaking good, man. Guys, Dalton Kincaid. I can't get the tight end position right.
16:50Not much can. Which means, for the second week in a row, I've got to spin the wheel.
16:55Yeah. Let's go. By the way, we were texting, group texting about this, and I was like, I'm in trouble.
17:00And that was before either of the two touchdowns from Purdy to Kittle.
17:04Purdy and Kittle. It just started heating up. And Purdy actually had a, we were laughing because Purdy had a long rushing
17:10touchdown, but there was a hold at the last second by Kittle to stop it.
17:14The next play, he catches the touchdown. Yes. It was like a very selfish hold.
17:18He ends up getting the points out of it.
17:20So, even better for me. I was so frustrated when that happened.
17:23I just wanted to shut the game off. Amazing second half comeback.
17:27Well, before we do this one, because I'm going to spin it next, we're going to pay off what I had was
17:33my loss a couple of weeks ago, and we have a few things for you to be able to watch.
17:38Oh, boy. All right, Daniel Dopp. Today is the day.
17:41You have to pay off the wax your leg punishment.
17:43How are we feeling? What are your expectations for this punishment?
17:46Expectations are low. I am feeling nerves. I am not excited about the follicle coming out of the skin, and I know that's going to happen a lot.
17:54I wasn't intending on you being the one who had to follow through with us.
17:58You are officially 100% not allowed in our YouTube chat anymore.
18:01I love you so much. You don't get to vote on punishments.
18:04I'm going to go get the paya ripped out of my legs.
18:07I love you. I hope you're proud of what you've done.
18:10All right. Oh, Christina. Okay. Here we go. I don't want to do this anymore, guys.
18:14All right. My gosh. One. Don't one, two, three me.
18:17Two. Don't. It's fine. Three. Oh, see, oh. Ouch!
18:19Oh, my gosh. You didn't even pull any of it out.
18:22You left it all in there. Why didn't it come out?
18:25Christina. Oh, okay. Two. Oh, that one removed on the first one.
18:29I don't want this anymore. Why did I choose fantasy football for a living?
18:32I don't want to do this. Oh, Kevin Clarkson.
18:35I'm going to be like a frigging... I don't like...
18:37Oh, no! Holy... Back to counting. You know what I don't love?
18:41I don't love the way that you're chuckling after every time you do it right now.
18:45Is this the way they do it in, like, real places?
18:48Do they put them on with, like, stuff like this?
18:50Oh, no! You made eye contact with me and did that while I was talking to you!
18:55Oh, Green Bay Packers! Christina! I don't like this.
18:57Devon A-chan! Guys. We are not worthy. Guys, you want to know what an Olympian feels like?
19:02Go ahead and touch my leg right now. That's what it feels like.
19:05Dude! Do you feel how soft it is? It feels like a marble statue.
19:09Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't want to... I'm basically, right now, like, a third of Michael Phelps.
19:14Wow, that's crazy. That would be uncomfortable and it was probably worse than the actual punishment.
19:18It was terrible. For me, my experience watching that was probably worse.
19:22I just want to say one more time, Mama Dopp, I hope you're proud of yourself.
19:26And please, no more. All right. All right, spin the wheel.
19:29Now that I have that, I get to spin the wheel.
19:32Wait, what is on the wheel? They told me because they're replacing the punishments, so they just covered up.
19:37Wait, what is under that? Do you have to take it off of there first?
19:41Yeah. The other option that we're doing is wax under like, you b-holes!
19:44No way. You better not! No way. That is not an option.
19:48Wax other leg does not count. All right, here we go.
19:50I'm going to spin the wheel. If that happens, I'm going to lose my mind.
19:54You guys are doing this show by yourself. Oh, that'd be amazing.
19:58Here we go. Three, two, one. All right. Wheel is slowing down.
20:01Guys, here we go. It is mild. Oh, man.
20:03I'm not sure I'm going to survive this season, guys.
20:06Yeah. Better start percent better lineup, sir. It's week four.
20:09I've got the two worst punishments and it's week four.
20:11Okay. We'll talk about this. Let me, let me, we're going to figure it out for a moment.
20:16This is like an editor's note here. We did have a recent conversation about whether we need to remove the beer mile.
20:22We're going to see whether we get approval on this.
20:25You might just have to run a mile. You think I can't run a mile?
20:29Nope. I don't know about that. Full speed. I don't know.
20:32We'll figure it out. We'll see something. That is, I forgot that was still on there.
20:36A beer mile? A milk mile? We actually, we are going to legitimately remove the waxed leg, right?
20:41Yeah. No. You guys might have to wax you.
20:43That was their, I think that was a prank.
20:46All right. All right. Anyway, set better lineups. Guys, this is terrible.
20:49All right. Long shot check in really quickly, guys.
20:51I'm not excited about starts of the week anymore.
20:54Yeah. Long shot check ins. None of us got it.
20:56AJ Dillon, Laquan Treadwell, Sky Moore, Colby Young. Nobody even close.
20:59Yeah. Some, some, some of those guys got decent run.
21:02Colby Young ended up further down the depth chart than we thought without Andre Osivas.
21:06Yeah. Was it Dante Myers? Yep. Got the run there as the three.
21:09But yeah, Moore was busy. Should be again until Jaden Reed's back in that offense.
21:13Laquan Treadwell was very busy in the Colts offense, but Darius Sling could take on a larger role.
21:18And AJ Dillon's a two in Carolina right now.
21:21So we're on the right track there, but nobody's going.
21:23This graphic is kind of isolated. It's cold because there's only one thing that matters, right?
21:28It's like, did you score or not? Yeah. It would have been kind of nice if it was like, yeah, AJ Dillon,
21:34like, you know, played 42% of the snaps. Someone, does your phone make a frog noise?
21:38That was R2D2. Oh, that was mom adopt texting me in the middle of the show.
21:42Oh, nice. Anyways. Yeah. None of us got it right that week.
21:45That sucks. Yeah. What can you do? By the way, it's like zeros and ones.
21:49Like that's Mike's literal language. It's either it works or it doesn't.
21:53That's exactly right. That's exactly what it is. Don't trust the process.
21:56That's what I often say. We have, by the way, speaking of punishments, Daniel obviously is feeling it from yesterday.
22:01I play in another league where we spin the wheel as well.
22:04We have a weekly punishment for the low scorer.
22:07Okay. There's 14 of us. So, you know, your odds of being the low scorer, whatever, whatever one in 14 is.
22:12A friend of mine is a lawyer, like a high powered attorney in Chicago, and he has to wear a tuxedo to work today.
22:19So, he's been sending us pictures. Not acknowledge it, hopefully.
22:21He's been sending pictures to me, and he has said, I am allowed to use them on our show.
22:27So, maybe tomorrow I'll give a look at that.
22:29Oh, that's amazing. My friend Spencer's Day is a lawyer in a tuxedo in Chicago.
22:33Quick shout out to our buddy Joe Fortenbaugh, who is unfortunately no longer with us.
22:37Whoa, don't say it that way. In our knockout league.
22:40Every week he says it that way. Don't do that.
22:42Knockout. Look at that though. Joe's a good looking man.
22:45Sam Darnold, he was good. Right. George Pickens wasn't bad, but then everyone else.
22:49Devine A. Chan unfortunately got hurt. Emmanuel Wilson, Jalen Waddle, Hunter Henry, and Jalen Coker.
22:53Two guys that got hurt. Devine A. Chan actually is the player that was rostered in the most knockout leagues to be knocked out this week.
23:00So, we also have an ESPN editorial knockout league.
23:02Did you guys see what happened in that one?
23:05No, what happened? The tie. Or by .02. .02 was a different.
23:08Oh yeah, that wasn't the, was that the editorial?
23:10No, that was the other one, I think. Oh, sorry.
23:13That was the other one. Elite league. That's right.
23:15The one with a bunch of our friends and celebrities are in and all that kind of stuff.
23:20Yeah, it was a 53 point. Yeah, that's right.
23:2253.46 was the low score. 53.48 was the second lowest score.
23:25Yeah. By the way, in both of those leagues, the knockout team had Josh Allen under center.
23:30Very interesting. Oh, that's crazy. He might knock down when he won.
23:33Right. Um, and he can also sink your ship.
23:36Yeah. All right. Quick check in really fast before we dive into waivers.
23:39We got some board bets. We want to make sure we pay off.
23:43Mike and I had a board bet, but it was voided.
23:45So we're not even going to talk about this one.
23:48It was on age fan. Yeah, that's unfortunate. So that one is out.
23:52I was going to win. So I'll take, I'll accept victory.
23:55I doubt that the other one, Mike definitely got this one, right?
23:58Terry McLaurin had a huge rebound outscores Denzel Boston.
24:00Michael Clay takes this one. Thank you. Shout out to you on that.
24:04Hey, crush it. And with that, let's dive into some priority waiver ads here in week four.
24:08My friends talk about a handful of guys. Hey guys, start at the running back spot.
24:13Yeah. We have a lot of running backs to talk about.
24:15I'll be honest with you. I was working on the playbook last night and preparing to talk waivers and looking at, uh, there's three teams that are lost.
24:23They're running back that we're going to have to talk about, right?
24:26That are very unlikely to play this week. We're definitely not going to play this week.
24:30Miami, obviously with HM, the jets with breeze hall is probably going to be out.
24:34And Travis H and down with new Orleans, he's going to be out.
24:38So we have to talk about all the running back options.
24:41It wasn't fun. There's no one for one. No, there's no one for one.
24:45And this was not fun. These guys have not necessarily had a lot of work in the pros or they haven't been
24:51very good when they've gotten run off the bench.
24:53So, um, this is kind of gross and it's going to be hard to sort through these, but we'll tell you how we anticipate it looking.
25:00So we're going to start with the jets, a groin injury, a thigh injury.
25:04I've heard a couple of different things here. Yeah.
25:06breeze hall week to week. I think you have to at least plan on him not being there.
25:11And if that's the case, the guy that we saw take over was Braylon Allen.
25:15How high up this list are you guys? Is he is a must add for you at running back?
25:20He is the number one out of all the running backs available this week.
25:24We were talking about this pre-show. Breece hall got hurt at 1130.
25:27Correct. 1130. 11 minutes and 36 seconds left in the fourth quarter on Sunday.
25:31Good call. Get it right. That's good. Uh, and the rest of the way, the jets ran 17 plays.
25:36Braylon Allen played all 17 of those plays. Mm-hmm.
25:38We talk about how, like sometimes when quarterbacks get hurt, like how it goes the rest of the game for the backup
25:44is not reflective of how we feel. We'll go for that backup with the full week of preparation.
25:49Yep. The bear is probably a good testament to that last night.
25:52When a running back gets hurt, like it's not unusual for the third running back on the roster to have a role anyways.
25:58And so you can just split the snaps the rest of the way.
26:02For Isaiah Davis to play zero snaps in the last 17 was notable to me.
26:06The jets, I think playing on Braylon Allen being their guy this weekend, at least against the bears.
26:11So I think as a defense, you can run the football against sake one average.
26:15Yeah. What nearly five and a half yards per carry last night.
26:18So Braylon Allen will be my priority. Even if this is only a one week thing, which it sounds like there's a chance.
26:24This is a one week fill in. Yeah. By the way, Allen kind of a fun player in theory to watch.
26:30He's one of the biggest running backs in the NFL.
26:32He's like six, one, what two 30. I lost some weight in the off season.
26:36Gets a lot of hype every year. Oh no.
26:39He's going to eat into Bryce, uh, Brees Hall's workload.
26:41And it just hasn't happened. He hasn't really done it.
26:44And he hasn't run well. He's averaging 3.7 yards per carry so far in his career.
26:48And he's been around, we'll say, I mean, he missed most of last season.
26:52So it's not fair to, you know, hold that against him, but, uh, he hasn't really emerged as real, a real threat.
26:58He only has two double digit fantasy games. Both were in 2024.
27:01So I'm curious to see him get 15, 20 touches and see what he could do with it.
27:06But, uh, so far it hasn't happened. It makes me temper expectations.
27:09When you think 15 to 20 touches, how many of them are in the rushing game?
27:13How many of them are in the most in the, I would imagine most in the, rushing Isaiah Davis.
27:19There was, it was, um, two years ago. Hall was the lead back for the jets.
27:23This was a different coaching staff. Keep in mind, but Davis and, uh, Alan were kind of splitting the number two job back and forth.
27:30Uh, and Davis outplayed him. I mean, by the way, Davis had 64 touches last year and in his career, he's averaging 5.6 yards per carry.
27:37So he's a pretty good player. Yes. So I just want to, I agree with you.
27:41Alan's a priority. I'm more likely to go with him as a flex.
27:44I mean, Davis doesn't even have a touch this year.
27:47So naturally we're going to lean toward Alan, but there's a chance that he's kind of grinding away and Davis is the one making plays.
27:54It's at least possible. So just, it makes me hesitate a little bit with how much capital I'm going to spend here.
28:00On top of the fact that we are talking about most likely splits in all of these situations where three starting running backs went down.
28:06We're also talking about three teams who the running backs that went down weren't exactly crushing, right?
28:11Devon HN is in a struggling Miami offense. We'll talk about Travis HN in a struggling Saints running game.
28:16And then Brees Hall, who very talented, but the story of Brees Hall's fantasy career has always been like, there is plenty
28:22of upside because he's just that talented. The infrastructure isn't great around him.
28:25So Braylon Allen is my number one running back ad for this week.
28:29He will not crack my top 20 for week four running back ranks.
28:32Let's talk about Travis HN next. Yeah. By the way, if you don't like hearing HN and you're getting frustrated with the
28:38HN ETN stuff, like neither of them are, none of them are playing.
28:42There's three of them. There's three of them. None of them are still on IR.
28:46Travis is going to be out. And of course, Devon is out for the season.
28:50So if you were frustrated with that, you don't have to sweat it for this.
28:54Travis HN missing time with a hamstring. Sounds like it could be a couple of weeks.
28:58We got Alvin Kamara. We got Kendra Miller and CJ freaking Donaldson just won't go away in this backfield as well.
29:04You mean like that's not his middle name? No, no, you just, that's not a real person, right?
29:08What did I say? No, it's a joke. Cause CJ Donaldson, that's made up.
29:12That's can't be a real person. I was like, did I call him the wrong name?
29:16I felt so bad. And they give Travis a ton of money and they have Kendra Miller.
29:21And why is CJ Donaldson touching the football as much as he is?
29:24Brought back Alvin Kamara. There's no way that's a real thing.
29:27But it is. Is Alvin Kamara going to be like the guy?
29:31I know you said there's no like one-to-one replacement.
29:33How are you guys both looking at this? I probably, if I'm, if I'm pressed to add a Saints running back, I'm adding Alvin Kamara.
29:40My expectations are pretty low. I was talking last week leading into week three.
29:43Like I don't understand this Travis HN thing for many reasons.
29:46Most notably is that Alvin Kamara is getting opportunities and he's one of the least effective running backs in the NFL.
29:52Now all-time legend, all-time Saints legend, all-time fantasy legend, not an effective running back anymore.
29:56Could you surprise us in a game or two?
29:58For sure. But I just feel like there's a chance that this Saints offense will still be good because Tyler Shuck is chucking it.
30:05And Tyler Shuck, I think will be the goal line option for the Saints.
30:09They've run multiple quarterback sneaks from the one yard line or two yard line and in with Tyler Shuck already this year.
30:14Like I wouldn't be surprised if they get the ball down to the one yard line.
30:19And the first thought, the first call is tap your own number here.
30:22Tap your own helmet, Tyler Shuck. I know it's not the same, but I feel like Ryan Tannehill used to have a
30:28large number of goal line rushing touchdowns. Maybe that was with Derek Henry.
30:32Maybe that was why. Yeah. I agree with you.
30:34I think Kamara is the priority add here, but remember last year he was still the lead back in New Orleans.
30:40He averaged 12.8 carries and 3.7 targets per game in his 10 full games.
30:43He had one touchdown and was an average under 10 fantasy points per game.
30:47I think they've been using a three-headed committee so far this season.
30:50That's not going to change without HNN. They're going to say, Kendra Miller will be actually.
30:55Kendra Miller, he played, I don't know if HNN got beat up and then left the game briefly and then came back
31:00in for one more play, but Kendra Miller did not play a snap in that game until the second to last snap for HNN.
31:07He went in, then Kendra came in and played like four straight plays.
31:10HNN came in for one play and then he was done for the game.
31:14So I don't know exactly what happened there, but regardless, he's going to be involved.
31:18He was involved a lot once HNNN went down in that game.
31:21This is a guy that's been fine so far.
31:24He's averaging 3.9 yards per carry in his career.
31:26To your point, Donaldson's going to be involved here as well, but Kamara should be the lead.
31:31Miller involved. Donaldson's going to handle some snaps. And this week they're playing Atlanta.
31:34Atlanta's been really good against the run so far.
31:373.1 yards per carry to the opposing running back.
31:39Fourth fewest fantasy points. So situation to avoid at the minimum, at the most Kamara is on the flex radar in 12 team leagues.
31:46That's it. I was just going to say, can we quantify for Braylon Allen?
31:49He's a priority at, and I would add him in 10 team leagues for this week.
31:54I would, yeah, probably both. I'm probably adding 12.
31:56I would say Allen's a priority though. Yeah, I would agree for, you would add Alvin Kamara in a 10 team league as well.
32:03You would at least consider it. Yep. Yeah. Cause it could be, I mean, there's a chance HNN goes on IR at the very least.
32:09He's probably going to miss a couple of weeks.
32:12Okay. So we just, we just were told miss time.
32:14That's all we were told. He's going to miss time.
32:17So then we got one other backfield and it's the Miami dolphins.
32:20When you look at this backfield, obviously Ollie Gordon was the guy 14 and a half fantasy points.
32:25The most running choice. They didn't have a choice.
32:27He literally had two running backs active. He scored more points than Devon HN did in either of his first two weeks.
32:33I have zero confidence in this offense though. Like I would not be adding a dolphins running back in a 10 team league.
32:40I would have to be in a much deeper league.
32:42Where are you guys at on this one? I would take a good, no, you go.
32:47I was going to say, I'm going to take flyers here.
32:49So this is just an end of bench thing.
32:52I'm not starting them this week for sure. Ollie Gordon came in last year, one of the youngest running backs in the NFL.
32:58There's a lot of hype there, very intriguing prospect, but it hasn't happened so far.
33:02Yes. He was forced into work last week. Had to play.
33:05He played 82% of the snaps. Obviously HN went down early, 41 yards and 17 carries had 14 yards on three targets
33:11in the game, but he's now at 2.7 yards per carry in his career so far.
33:15It just hasn't happened yet. He did score five touchdowns last year off the bench essentially, but Jalen Wright is going to be involved.
33:22Like it's not just going to be a one man show.
33:25Assuming he's healthy and ready to go this week, he'll be a factor.
33:28Where's the positive point that you're wanting? I'm not getting there.
33:31Okay. Okay. Wright did have 70 plus touches each of the last two seasons.
33:35Now, every time it seemed like Gordon was going to take the two job behind HN, Wright somehow took it back.
33:40So maybe he's the lead back. And that's one of the dangers here of prioritizing Ollie Gordon.
33:45Okay. I think, but they're also facing Minnesota this week.
33:48So if you need more ammunition to not start them this week, they're allowing 3.1 yards per carry.
33:52And the third few is fantasy points to running back.
33:55So like I said, this was gross working through all these options here.
33:59It's not good situations. It's probably going to be all committees.
34:01These are not guys you're usually going to want to start.
34:04Um, but usually if you're like, there's a lead back on waivers, usually it's a fine person to put on the end of your bench.
34:11Just to, just to see what happens. Um, this, but again, we were talking about Devon HM, one of the most talented running backs in the entire NFL.
34:19And he's getting lots of opportunities and being remarkably inefficient.
34:21And now agreed a much lesser player behind him.
34:24These all it's, it's simultaneously a little bit tantalizing on roster on waivers when it's like, wow, he's starting running back.
34:29Right. And then you're like, I'm not sure that any of these guys are really worth it.
34:34So, um, not a great waiver week. I actually feel like the best value on the waivers this week is quarterback streamers.
34:40I agree. Just really quickly, Minnesota, then Cincinnati, then a buy for the dolphins.
34:43So it's going to be, you know, three tough weeks in a row for Ali Gordon.
34:48If you do grab him. Yeah. If Gordon, uh, we'll do ranks tomorrow, but he is not in my top 30.
34:53Also just be, he's not playing right now, but at the running back spot, do you guys think Zach Charbonnet needs to be added now?
35:00Or would you wait another week or two until you decided to grab him?
35:04I think he's what available in about 50% of leagues right now.
35:07Um, yeah, I think he's fine. I put him on my bench for sure.
35:11He's probably going to be looking at 15 plus carries, at least a game.
35:15I mean, no one else is emerging. So I think he absolutely should be added.
35:19Yeah, no doubt. You have a question. Braylon Allen.
35:21Yeah. Alvin Kamara, Zach Charbonnet. I would do it this way.
35:24Here's how I would rank. Ali Gordon. Is the way that you ranked, I would go Braylon Allen, Alvin Kamara, um, Ali
35:30Gordon, in terms of the backup running backs to fill in.
35:33If you need somebody right now, but if you're just sifting through, I think the most valuable rest of season player is Zach Charbonnet.
35:39He's actually 100%. That's what I was going to say.
35:42If you're, if you had Hall and H, I actually, in our dynasty, like I have Hall and H and so I'm in trouble.
35:48Uh, like I would have to prioritize Braylon Allen, Kamara because of your running back situation.
35:53I need them. Even Montgomery for Jamar Chase. Who said, uh, yeah, I got to think about that.
35:57I mean, if I go just set, can you send me all them, uh, tweets from the David Montgomery supporters from after week one?
36:04Cause then that'll kind of incentivize me to make that move.
36:07uh, anyway, aged well. Yeah. But if not, if I don't need a running back, if I'm health, if I made it
36:13through healthy, certainly Charbonnet would be the priority. I have to imagine the second half of the season.
36:17That guy is going to be very busy. Let's talk about the quarterbacks really quickly field.
36:22Marcus Mariota looked good in his first game filling in for Jaden Daniels.
36:25He's got to be on this list as a guy you're thinking about.
36:29I think there's really only two guys for me.
36:31It's him and Jacoby Brissett. Yeah. He has a great matchup does Marcus Mario.
36:35There's a third name that I'll mention, but I don't feel as confident in.
36:39I talked about him a couple of days ago in a negative light, but Mariota man, like it's, it's, we're sort of
36:44having a relative movement for these like backup quarterbacks that enter the league with either a lot of pedigree or a lot
36:50of college production or both case Keenum. Did you guys see that graphic last night during the Monday night football broadcast where
36:56it showed case Keenum played five years of college ball.
36:59He's in his 14th NFL season. And he still has more career passing yards and passing touchdowns during his college career than his 14th NFL season.
37:06That's wild. That's insane. He was the most prolific passer in NCAA history.
37:09He was amazing. And at his time, I played one season of college football fantasy or fantasy college football.
37:14And that was my quarterback. And I crushed that league.
37:17It was a one season. It's like, I'm retired.
37:20Case Keenum was the man back. He still is the man.
37:22Um, so anyways, we're having a kind of movement here and Marcus Mario does part of that movement.
37:27He is a totally serviceable backup quarterback. He is probably, if you were a starter somewhere between like 21 and 32, but
37:33as a backup, he's somewhere between like one and three in terms of best backups in the NFL.
37:38And my, Oh my, what a matchup he has across the pond in Indianapolis.
37:42The Colts actually weren't terrible against the Texans last week.
37:44Also might be because they were throwing to like Dalton Schultz and Xavier Hutchinson, the Texans kind of a massive, a passing game as it were.
37:51If you told me that Marcus Mariota with his rushing upside gets to 20 this weekend, I wouldn't be surprised.
37:57I would either. Yeah. I think he was obviously nothing.
37:59He was very efficient. He had three passing touchdowns and only 186 passing yards.
38:03But if you took away a little bit of that, you know, passing involvement and gave it a little bit more to
38:09his legs, which is actually more valuable for us in fantasy.
38:12I could still see him being in that, in that streaming radar for this week.
38:16Remember on a per game basis, last season filling in for Daniels, he was QB 12.
38:20So he's certainly a streaming option when the matchup is right.
38:23Last week, we said maybe avoid him against Seattle, which I mean, yeah, that one works out missing that.
38:28I mean, like who would have thought, but yeah, it gets the Colts this week.
38:32So it should be even better. Colts this week.
38:35And then the Giants next week, those are his next two matchups.
38:38Okay. The other guy I would consider would be Jacoby Brissette in part because he keeps doing it.
38:43Two week thing too. Like when I look at Jacoby Brissette this week, he's going to be taking on the New York Giants.
38:49They've got a bunch of guys, unfortunately, that they're dealing with injuries through.
38:52And then the next matchup is the Detroit lions.
38:55So if you grab reset, you would probably be thinking, at least I have a quarterback for a couple of weeks that I would be streaming.
39:02Cause we know that you were probably going to play him against Detroit.
39:05He'd be in that low end QB one radar in week five.
39:09Yeah. More on this tomorrow, but Kyler Murray, they're still available on 40% of leagues and he gets Miami this week.
39:14Kyler is. So yeah. Yeah. So certainly a great spot for him this week to get, you know, to have kind of
39:20his breakout game, hopefully from a fantasy perspective. Yes.
39:22We would hope that. Yes, indeed. Kenyon Sadiq's the only tight end and he looked fantastic, but I'm definitely adding him off of waivers.
39:29If he is out there right now, he's like the, I was just going to say, this is why you spend late
39:35flyers on high pedigree, first round talents and just stash him there.
39:38Just, I mean, this, what did I say in the off season?
39:41The last five, the last five tight ends drafted in the first round finished top, top 12 and much like the Jeremiah love stats.
39:48Uh, and Sadiq already, I mean, he missed like the whole off season it's week three and he's already having, he's had two big games now.
39:55I mean, he looked awesome in this one. Uh, he, he looked, he looked really good.
39:59And am I worried that that's the best game we'll have all season?
40:02Yes. But again, when we have, if this were a week with seven clear and obvious waiver ads, we would not be
40:08mentioning the name Kenyon Sadiq, but he showed enough.
40:11He's talented enough. And there's enough opportunity there with Mason Taylor out and the jets being thin amongst pass catchers in general, that maybe he turns into.
40:18Yeah. Remember you draft a tight end in the first round to be an elite tight end, not to be just like
40:24a, okay guy, he should be featured. And he's, he already had a game like this.
40:28He's already ninth in fantasy points per game. A tight end should be rostered in every league.
40:33This guy could be top five the rest of the season.
40:36You also draft in real life, these elite tight ends to be the greatest market inefficiency in the NFL right now.
40:41You guys, I'm sure you guys have seen this.
40:44You got, we obviously watched the saints and Raiders game on Sunday and the way in which Brock Bowers was deployed was basically as a wide receiver.
40:51I saw the splits between the amount of snaps he played as inline tight end versus split out either in the slot or all the way out wide.
40:58He played like what? 12% of his snaps is an inline tight end.
41:02He's extension eligible after this season. I was just going to ask you this.
41:05And the Raiders, if they blow the tight end market away, are going to pay him like 21, $22 million per year.
41:11He's worth more than that. The Patriots played Romeo Dobbs, $17 million per year this off season.
41:16Yep. Which one of those guys would you like how much of a Delta in average annual value is there between those two players, right?
41:23Like what he's not, I would take, if I'm building a passing offense, I would take one of those top flight wide
41:29receivers that the Jamar Chase, JSN types that are already the very top of the food chain over Brock Bowers, but not by a lot.
41:35Nope. And they're going to be much else to $20 million more per year.
41:39It's wild. He's a, if he's listening, he might hire you as an agent.
41:43He's got a, he's got one of the best ever.
41:45So he'll be in good hands. I don't know.
41:48You're making a, you're making a strong case. It really is like, if you're a team that thinks this guy can be
41:54the focal point to your passing game, that's an amazing.
41:56Yeah. By the way, Michael Mayer is their tight end.
41:59Yeah, he is. Brock Bowers is their top receiver.
42:01Brock Bowers wide receiver. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. Let's dive into the mailbag, my friends.
42:05Let's do it. We got a couple of people.
42:08We're going to get some questions from first and foremost, guys, I asked you, did anybody lose by a point or less with Debo Samuel in your lineup?
42:15We in fact had a lineup in which Debo Samuel scored the 15.4 fantasy points.
42:19That's 80 receiving yards and a touchdown, but didn't get the catch.
42:22And they lost one 11.04 to one 11.26. Not getting that reception.
42:26Even in half PPR, you would have won that.
42:28Yes. That's so frustrating. That's a tough one. But you know what's amazing is like, as you're, yeah, as you're going through
42:34Sunday, when Debo had that 80 yard hook and ladder, you're like, that's amazing.
42:38This is incredible. This is great. Like I just got 14 fantasy points out of nowhere.
42:42Do you guys call it a hook and ladder, hook and lateral?
42:45Hook and ladder. I say hook and ladder. Okay.
42:47But is it a hook and ladder? I think both are socially acceptable.
42:51Yes. Because, you know, one player is running a hook.
42:54He is then throwing a lateral. Yes. To the other player.
42:57Yeah. Why would it be called a ladder? I don't know, but apparently they're both socially acceptable.
43:01That's, that's typical of English, the English language, right?
43:04We just say stuff. We're like, you know what?
43:06We're just going to change it. It's like, I talked to my daughters about that.
43:10It's just like, they come home starting to say words that like new popular words that don't make sense.
43:15I'm like that. That's not what that word means though.
43:18And they're like, well, yes, it does. I'm like, no, it doesn't.
43:21That's not what that word means. And they just use it that way.
43:24And it's just. And they just decide that's what it is.
43:27That's what you can do. You can just make something mean something.
43:31All right, guys. That's what it is. Another farf and nouging here for you guys.
43:35That's me yelling at a cloud. Farf and nouging.
43:37Yeah. That's a new, that's another tempered question. My God.
43:40Vop is more aerodynamic for the beer mile now.
43:42Thank you, Owen Davis. What do we do with this, man?
43:45Appreciate that. I'm Owen three. Is there still hope for me?
43:48I'm in a 10 person league. Realtor and Rick.
43:50Oh no. Realtor and Rick. I think that's real torrent.
43:53Real torrent Rick. Real torrent Rick. Realtor and Rick.
43:55Yes. There's still hope for me in a 10 team league.
43:58Stop using Mike Clay's rankings. Just use field and eyes.
44:01Didn't I just beat you by a hundred? I'm just going to use that all week while I can.
44:06Eddie B. Would you drop Drake May for Marcus Mario?
44:09That's a nice segue into our next segment. Yeah, let's do it.
44:12Still that question, unless we have more. Jaden Daniels not going on IR.
44:16He might be back in a week or two.
44:18He's going to practice this weekend. Yeah. So Mario, this isn't even a full season question, but yeah, you're right.
44:23We'll get into May soon. Gabe Maderis wants to know, would you guys pick up Keenan Allen after what he did last week?
44:29I mean, end of bench fine, but I'm not moving.
44:32Yeah. I just don't think you're going to want to start him.
44:35And he did this a couple of times last year and was very unproductive with a huge target year last season.
44:41It's hard for me to imagine that it's consistent in that Colts offense.
44:44So I forgot to mention earlier that I said, like there's one more quarterback.
44:48It kind of has my attention this week, even though I talked about it.
44:52It is Daniel Jones against the commander. Oh, okay.
44:54The commander's 11 passing touchdowns allowed so far this season.
44:57The problem is Daniel Jones has not passed the eye test, right?
45:00That's been a tough watch offensively. And Jonathan Taylor could easily.
45:03Jonathan Taylor is like the king of Europe games.
45:06Remember last year when he scored that touchdown in overtime against the Falcons, he had like 49 points or something.
45:11Yeah. The Colts are, I'm interested to see how they progress now because they did go toe to toe with the Chiefs.
45:17I mean, I was 32, 30, two weeks ago.
45:19And then they played the Texans who got a little back on track defensively.
45:23So kind of a fascinating team right there. All right, next segment.
45:26You're going to keep fishing or cut bait. We fishing for fantasy points still in our starting lineup where we cut in
45:32the bait, moving them to our bench guys. You guys are to be out in the water.
45:37I'm not. I love being out there on the boat.
45:39Daniel loves fishing. This is your new obsession. This is my new hobby.
45:43Yeah. Would rather be a hobby. Both. I've been in a long time, probably 30 years when I was a kid.
45:48Maybe I won't. No way. So you really don't fish.
45:51Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Been a very long time. Did you only, uh, I went fishing yesterday.
45:55On fishing? Did you really? Yeah. I went out when it was raining.
45:59Yeah. Oh my gosh. It was fantastic. I haven't gone down to the ocean yet.
46:03I only do lakes and rivers. There's a lot of coves around us.
46:06Yeah. A lot to do with soft plastics. A lot of jigging, you know, we live in this, you know, this area
46:12that's obviously so beautiful in so many ways, including that we have great saltwater fishing around us.
46:17There is. We got some nice brackish water down towards the shore.
46:20We get the saltwater and freshwater that meet and get some nice stripers up in there.
46:24I know all these words you're saying. Yeah, totally.
46:27Let's dive in my friends. Are we going to keep fishing for fantasy points with Drake May?
46:31Are we cutting bait, moving them to the bench?
46:34Yeah. So let's establish the premise here. You can sort of interpret fish or cut bait in a few different ways.
46:39We talked about this yesterday is it's like fishing means you're continuing to start the player.
46:44Correct. Cut bait. You can delineate between cutting the player from your roster or just putting them on the bench and finding
46:49a serviceable option to replace that player. So let's start with Drake May, who's been under 10 fantasy points and even each of his first three games.
46:57If you're looking for reasons for optimism for Drake May, let's start with the idea that like there is nowhere to go but up.
47:03That's good. Right. On top of that, the Patriot schedule will eventually let up a little.
47:07I wrote that down too. You can decide. Yeah.
47:10Well, you can decide whether the next two weeks against the bills and Raiders are good opportunities for Drake May or not
47:16good opportunities for Drake May, but more than anything, more than anything, you're talking about a player who last year nearly won
47:22the NFL MVP and was a top three fantasy quarterback.
47:24That is the reason why you are continuing to fish with Drake May.
47:28Can I give you one more positive? Yes. He's pacing for 465 rushing yards.
47:32He had 450 last year. Yeah. That's a good nugget right there.
47:35It is, but for until he really turns it on, it's a week to week conversation.
47:39Yeah. Agreed. Right. Like there will hopefully come a time where Drake May just populates in our rankings as quarterback, six quarterback,
47:45three quarterback, nine, and there's no questions asked. Right.
47:47But for now it is a, I have Drake May, like a Marcus Mariota versus Drake May conversation.
47:52Assuming Mariota starts this weekend. That to me is a real one.
47:55And I would be starting Marcus Mariota over Drake May.
47:58I know Mike's projection has that reversed, but Drake too talented to release from your roster at this point.
48:03Yeah. I'm not cutting, I'm not cutting him from my roster.
48:06I'm cutting bait on him as a starter for the time being, not playing him at Buffalo this week.
48:11I do. I'm not really afraid of the bills defense.
48:14I'm just afraid of how May is playing right now.
48:16It's just not good enough. So yeah, I'm looking forward to week seven.
48:20I think we got a month in here. Week seven.
48:23I know. And it's a ways away. I understand, but well, he can be on the bench and you're starting another streaming quarterback.
48:29Cutting baits a starter like Mike. Correct. They take on Chicago in week seven.
48:33Prior to that, I know it's Buffalo and then Las Vegas.
48:35Las Vegas, the Jets. I like, honestly, like those next, like there's a chance that Drake gets it going over these next four games.
48:42Yeah. And then they take on at Chicago who has, in theory, that is a defense that has had points put up against them.
48:48At Miami. The past two weeks. They have. Yeah.
48:51But we love at Miami and then Green Bay and then at Detroit.
48:54So having Miami and Detroit and two of the, you know, back to back there, that's going to be a spot where
49:00that's the time to make sure that he's ruled.
49:03People are going to cut him today when they do their waiver claims or overnight.
49:07Not, I would scoop them up. I would add him up.
49:09Make sure he's on your schedule gets thin right now.
49:12Yep. I'm sorry. It was fat. Now it's getting now in a good way.
49:16Yes. The proper, the proper thin. What about Bo Nix guys?
49:19Yeah. He's been really brackish. You know, I was, I was thinking that.
49:22What? He had a surprise 24 fantasy. He started.
49:25No, you didn't use it. Do you know what brackish, what do you think brackish means?
49:29I don't know. I just decided to use it.
49:31Brackish. Okay. That's all right. Yeah. What does it mean?
49:34It like, is it pertained to the saltiness of the water?
49:37Yes. Field. That's what I was going to say.
49:39Isn't it? Yeah. It's where fresh water and salt water meet and you have brackish water.
49:44So you get like a bunch of species that can live in both fresh water and salt water and then kind of like co-mingle.
49:50Oh, so when Bo Nix and Jalen Waddle met, they were not brackish.
49:54They were not. Bounce off each other. They were like reverse magnets.
49:57We made it guys. Oh, we made it. This is tricky for me.
50:00I'll let somebody else start because I want to hear your guys' perspective.
50:04Well, he's trending up. He went from five points in week one to 14 in week two to 24.1 last week.
50:09So that's good. I mean, last week he was good week three.
50:13So it's kind of good. Here's the bad thing.
50:15Two rushing yards, six rushing yards, seven rushing yards.
50:17That's not what like Bo Nix gave us value with this.
50:20I know we got in the end zone this last week.
50:23Doesn't it feel like that's 100% protecting the ankle from last year?
50:27That's what I'm wondering. Yeah. And, but you had imagined maybe he gets his feet under him and starts to run a
50:32little bit at some point, but we need it.
50:35So I agree. I was going to get to that.
50:38I agree. I mean, the passing numbers last week were really good.
50:41He had 288 yards and three total touchdowns. And one of them was a rushing touchdown actually.
50:45So, um, trending the right way, which gives me some confidence.
50:48I don't have him ranked as a starter this week as they're playing at San Francisco.
50:53Also their rest of season schedule is tough. So that gives me a little pause.
50:57I wonder if he can get back into the regular every week, sort of backend QB one status like he had last year.
51:03Um, but at the bottom line is if he's, if he can start running more and I mean, his supporting cast is
51:09better than it was the past few years. And he was QB seven, both of those seasons.
51:13So there's a few things much like Drake may that give me like, we've seen it.
51:17Sporting gas is better. We know we could run.
51:20Maybe at some point he turns it on. And again, he kind of did that without the rushing this past week, which gives me some optimism.
51:27Also, it's not game script, but the way that this unfortunately backfield that it's been very injured, they've had to rely on
51:33potentially not having their premier guys that they have wanted.
51:35We're onto, you know, second and third string guys now.
51:38So I wouldn't, I wouldn't move into my bench, I think, but I'm not cutting.
51:42I'm not cutting Bo Nix. I don't think last week makes him a QB one just because he scored 24 fantasy points.
51:48I need to see it again before he's a tier one.
51:51Cutting bait short term as a starter, but I have confidence.
51:54He'll get back into the back end QB one set.
51:57I like Drake may. I think it's very similar, but may his upside is higher.
52:01I want to unsubscribe from this next one. I'll handle it for you.
52:04Chadarian price for the Seahawks who has now fumbled in two or three games.
52:08He's been a non-factor in two of three games.
52:10I think this one can be relatively quick guys.
52:13I don't think any of us are cutting him from our roster.
52:16No way. First round pick, right? First round pick.
52:18And it plays a position that's very hard to find.
52:21But Chadarian price is cut bait as a starter for right now.
52:24We got to see him earn the trust back of this Seahawks staff.
52:28We got to see him go more than one game without a fumble.
52:31And we got to see when Zach Charbonnet returns, because while he's eligible to return as soon as week five, you know,
52:37he could potentially return in week 10. Like there's no guarantee that he is back as soon as he is eligible.
52:43So we can cut bait as a starter until further.
52:45Yeah. That was a risk with him. You draft him.
52:48You have to hope he cements a big role because Charbonnet is coming back at some point and he hasn't come close to that.
52:54Also guys, he has zero carries inside the five, two inside the opponent's 15 yard line.
52:59So he's not going to steal touchdowns either. So it's been, it's been rough.
53:02I agree with you. Bench player right now. Let's go to Jamie.
53:06Oh, sorry. Do you think that there's any value in a potential buy low with how bad he started that there will
53:11be value second half of the year? Or at this point, are you just guessing?
53:15Not if Charbonnet, unless Charbonnet's rolled out for the season.
53:18I have a hard time. Yeah. Yeah. I would agree.
53:21Like Zach Charbonnet is one of those guys who's far from a star, but he's so good at all the little things.
53:27It's a little bit. And this sounds weird because this sounds weird because this guy just put the ball on the ground
53:33recently, but it's a little bit of like that Ramondre Stevenson thing, right?
53:36Where Ramondre played every third down this past week for the Patriots.
53:39He started the game for the Patriots. These guys can't quit certain players.
53:43The Seahawks are that way with Zach Charbonnet. Jamo's up next.
53:46Do you want to, do you want to abstain from Jamo?
53:49No, I'm good with Jamo. Okay. I'm good with Jamo.
53:51I'm fishing. 10 catches. Fishing. If you told me that this is an offense, by the way, this offense has scored 30 points.
53:58You should watch the YouTube feed in case you're not.
54:00Every once in a while, we got some good stuff on here.
54:03That's the video of the alligator. Someone tries to throw him a carcass of some sort.
54:08The alligator misses it and then just falls into the water.
54:11Jamison Williams. This is part of, unfortunately what you get when you draft Jamison Williams field.
54:15You already talked about this. This offense has scored 30 points in every single week.
54:19This season, he is on the field. Non-stop. The first three weeks have not worked out.
54:23He is a guy I would buy low on if someone was really freaking out about it, because I think he is still going to get more utilized.
54:31Just hasn't worked the three weeks. I am fishing still.
54:33You guys know how this works by the way, right?
54:36If you're the person that cuts Jamison Williams, you cut him and he immediately scores 20.
54:40That's the week that he does it. So if somebody wants to take it upon themselves to handle the cutting, we will gladly benefit.
54:47Yes. From the Jamison. Someone's got to do it for us.
54:50I play in a league that has some rewards for big plays, like 30, 40 plus yard catches, 100 plus yard games, long touchdowns.
54:56And I made Jamo a little bit of a target in that league because I was like, you know, even if he
55:02has 60 catches this year, there's a chance that 12 of his 60 catches go for 40 plus yards.
55:07That would be amazing in this league. Has it worked out so far?
55:11Not yet. Keeping the faith. I agree. Fish here.
55:13Just remember this. Last season, around this time, we were having the same conversation.
55:17He had single digit fantasy points in four of his first guy, four of his first five and five of his first six last year.
55:23Wow. And then when obviously Sam Laporta got hurt, which changed things, but it's not like it was just the second half of last year.
55:30He's been over a thousand yards, two straight seasons.
55:33Now he's a big part of this lion's offense.
55:35The schedule. Also, we've talked about this. We talked about it a lot in the off season.
55:40The lions have arguably the easiest remaining schedule this season.
55:42That does not really include this week. The Panthers have actually allowed the fewest fantasy points to receivers so far, but it
55:48looks good the rest of the year. So a lot of reason for optimism.
55:52I agree. I'm keeping the fish here. Easy schedule and the defense is awful.
55:56It feels like they're going to have to score 30 points every single week.
55:59So it's, it will be hard to imagine this not happening at some point.
56:03Agreed. Cortland Sutton is next. Cortland Sutton has been disappointed for this Denver offense.
56:07He has a total of eight catches through three games.
56:09He has wide receiver 73 on this season. He's been Bo Nix, right?
56:13This isn't Cortland Sutton. He's been Bo Nix. I got to be honest with you.
56:17I think we're fine to cut bait from your roster here.
56:20You think so? I'm not going to go that far.
56:23You could bench him, but I think if you have somebody that you really need to add this week, you get a quarterback pinch.
56:29Like I'm okay with it. This offense just has too many pieces.
56:32If we can hardly get Jalen Waddle going, am I really expecting Cortland Sutton to get going week in and week out?
56:38Five targets, four targets, seven targets. Yeah. Much like Bo Nix though.
56:41Obviously same team here. He did make strides this past week.
56:44That gives me some optimism. He had a 23% target share in this game.
56:48That's where he was last year. He's at 18% for this season.
56:51So it was a 0.40 at seven targets, only turned into 46 yards, but also he's third at receiver with three end zone targets so far too.
56:58So he's still getting that goal line work. That's been a big part of his game so far this season.
57:04So I'm not, I agree with you. I don't want to start him right now.
57:08I'm going to have him down around 40 this week.
57:11So a borderline flex option, 12 teamers, but I'm not going to come from my roster just yet.
57:15He's too good to him. By the way, one more, sorry, one more thing.
57:19No, no, you go. Like leading into the season, all the reports were just like about how this guy is.
57:24And I hate to use this term, best shape of his life.
57:28So I feel like he was primed for another big season.
57:31So I think the team knows that like, they're going to keep them involved.
57:34He's such an important part of the offense. And I know I just saw there was a, we had a tweet up there.
57:41It was like the quarterback loves Pat Bryant. He had two targets last week.
57:44Like they were still trying to get it to Sutton and Waddle.
57:47I think they'll be okay. This is part of the Sean Payton experience though, is sometimes the ball gets spread around to a little bit of everybody.
57:55If you were in a situation, you want to keep him.
57:58You said that you'd be okay moving on. I'm just curious.
58:01Was there anybody off of the waiver wire this week that you feel like if you were in a quarterback pinch or
58:06would Kenyon Sadiq be someone that you think long-term you'd rather have given the tight end position?
58:11It's such a bad week for waiters. Zach Charbonnet.
58:13It feels weird to say. I know. That's why Cortland Sutton, but I think quarterback pinch would be where I'm.
58:19Quarterback would be where it's at. Yes. Okay. I don't know what the upside for Cortland Sutton will be right now.
58:24Cause I haven't seen it. Well, he definitely is going to fall into the category of every time you think, you know, which week to play him.
58:32It's the wrong one. He duds and the opposite.
58:34What about Kyle Pitts? Cause it's been nothing but duds for him guys.
58:38This one is wild. Do you want me to read his stat lines first?
58:41Just so we can talk about how it's true.
58:44Go ahead. Was, is it zero? Yeah. I mean, if you were a doubter on Kyle Pitts, like even your best guess
58:50on how bad it would be was better than this.
58:52I mean, week one, one target, no catches week to three targets, one catch for 15 yards last week, two targets, one catch for five yards.
58:59Uh, I mean, and that was with Michael Penix back.
59:02How'd Drake Glendon do in that game? How'd Robinson do in that game?
59:05Very good. Kyle Pitts, nothing guys. Here's the big concern for me last year, 88% of the snaps this year, 54%.
59:11Last year, 90% route participation this year, 66 last year, 23% target share this year.
59:158%. Uh, what? Why? Why? Why? No, it happened.
59:17Like, why is he not playing? Here's a reason.
59:20Someone else is getting all these targets. The only reason for hope is in Hooper.
59:24So what's your official declaration? Uh, cut bait as a starter.
59:27I mean, you, it's certainly droppable. I mean, we've seen him dropped in several leagues already.
59:31definitely. He's already been dropped. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, he's on waivers in our, uh, knockout league.
59:36I mean, yeah. Um, so the, the, the reason for optimism is that at least Michael Penix Jr.
59:40looked pretty darn good last week, you know, and maybe he doesn't totally saturate Drake London with targets this, like the rest of the season.
59:47I, I'm trying to make a flimsy case here.
59:50So I, I think at least cut bait to the bench, but I agree.
59:53And they don't have like a clear cut number two receiver.
59:56Nobody worried about. So it's barely a factor. No doubt.
59:59So I'm don't get me wrong. I think there's a chance he can get back into the top 12, top 10 conversation,
60:05but right now, is he a must roster? No, I mean, again, we're even the 10 team show league, FFC league.
60:10He was on waivers. All he was on a free agent to pick up all asking.
60:15Nobody touched him. Right. I hear Sunday and no one picked them up.
60:18And I hear you. So, uh, and 12, obviously they played Thursday, but no one picked them up leading into that game.
60:24So right now he's not startable. He's borderline rosterable.
60:26I'm going to ask, I'm going to keep asking you guys, cause it's this week.
60:31I know it's a bad week. Would you rather have Kenyon Sadiq on your roster than Kyle Pitts?
60:35Yeah. Uh, yes. Yeah. It's hard to believe, but it's a conversation, but if he, if he's out there, you'd rather have, okay.
60:41I love that. Quincy on Judkins, Mike, you've been trying to roll with this dude.
60:45I thought last week, last week, I said it had to happen in that game at home against Carolina and it didn't happen.
60:52Six straight games now under 11 fantasy points going back to last year.
60:55He's averaging 3.0 yards per carry has caught all nine of his targets, but only 53 yards.
61:00He hasn't found the end zone 20 touches last week.
61:02You love that. You got to keep that guy rostered, but he only had 79 yards.
61:07And this is really concerning. This has to change or he's not going anywhere.
61:10He's not going to be startable anywhere close to startable all season.
61:14One carry inside the 10. Can't have it. He's a big running back.
61:17He doesn't do a ton in the passing. He has to get touchdown opportunities.
61:21If there's a potential saving grace, it's not the old line, which has been struggling, but it is the fact that the
61:27offense has been better than we thought. It's at least competent.
61:30Maybe he can get rolling, but for now, uh, he is a borderline RB to probably more of a flex option, but
61:36I'm, you could, I don't, I don't know how to word this because he's the answer is fish.
61:40Fish in terms of borderline RB, but I don't feel great about starting him.
61:44It's, this is a close one. I mean, he's better than so many, like the names we've talked about so far, you
61:50know, like that's, he's still more valuable than like Kyle Pitts or Jadari.
61:53Well, Bo Nix, you know, like I think to me, Quinchon Judkins is a fish.
61:58Just, it may not happen the way that we hope to happen this year.
62:01There's no way that I am. If I drafted Quinchon Judkins, unless I drafted him as my, he's a pretty good.
62:07Unless I, I, he's my RB three or four for some reason.
62:10Like I, I'm with you. I still got to keep fishing.
62:13Yeah. I mean, FFC, I have Gibbs, Hubbard, Jeremiah Love, and Judkins.
62:16And like Judkins was supposed to be a starter for that team.
62:19Like I, he's going to be drafting. Yeah. Like 10 team leagues.
62:23So you're going to, I mean, I got, I guess I got a little lucky with the Hubbard.
62:27Yeah. You want a cookie for that? Those are four really good running backs.
62:31I was just reminding you that I beat me really bad.
62:34A hundred fantasy points. Last one here, guys, Kenny Gainwell.
62:37Part of this was around the idea that Bucky Irving might not play.
62:40Then Todd Bowles was like, Bucky Irving's not on the injury report.
62:44So if Bucky Irving's not on the injury report.
62:46Here's what I would say. I'm, I am cutting bait to the bench.
62:49Yes. And the reason why I say that is even though Bucky is not going to be on the injury report, Bucky's got a history of going down.
62:57And so I am holding on Kenny Gainwell on my bench.
63:00Yeah. Terrific insurance back. He was awesome last year.
63:02Yeah. And you know, it's wild. His snap share in Pittsburgh last year was 50%.
63:06You know what it is this year? 50? 44%.
63:09It's not far off from playing. He's just not getting the touch.
63:12It's not giving him the football. At all. Yeah.
63:14It doesn't make sense. He's such a good football player.
63:17I wish he would be on the field more often.
63:20Guys, this is a fun show. Dude, are you okay, man?
63:23Like you got your fricking leg waxed. It hurt real bad.
63:26Hurt real bad. I truly thought after one strip, it'd be like, okay, wrap it up.
63:30Time to go on. No, I thought it was too.
63:33And then Christina was like, Oh no, Daniel, we have a lot of these to get through, which was very fun.
63:38Shout out to Christina. Are you guys cool? Shout out to Zach.
63:41No, the video came out great. Thank you for that.
63:44Very talented video team. And Mama Dobb. It's been a blast.
63:47Now I get to figure out what I get to do for the next one, guys.
63:51Thanks for hanging out with us today. Come back tomorrow.
63:54We're going to dive into the week four rankings.
63:56It's going to be a ton of fun as well.
63:59We love you guys. Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself.
64:03You deserve it. We'll see you tomorrow. You're in the 06010.
