Ashton Jeanty

PositiveBreakout56:53

Ashton Jeanty is viewed as an explosive, elite talent who maintained a strong 73.1% snap share in Week 1. The source is encouraged by the team's innovative scheme and suggests that if he produces another strong game in Week 2, he could enter the elite tier of running backs alongside Jameer Gibbs and Bijan Robinson.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection20:02

Brock Purdy is a must-start and lineup lock for Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins. He has a high fantasy floor, having scored 16.8+ points in 17 of his last 22 games, averaging 18.6 points per game in that span. He also adds value with his legs, as evidenced by his 29 rushing yards in Week 1.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeMatchup28:19

Caleb Williams faces a challenging Week 2 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. While he showed promise in Week 1 with aggressive rushing and passing, the source notes that Brian Flores' defense is difficult to play against, and Williams has historically struggled to produce high touchdown numbers against Minnesota, recording only two passing touchdowns over his last three games against them.

Insight page
PositiveProjection30:47

If Caleb Williams scores 22 fantasy points against the Brian Flores-led Vikings defense in Week 2, he should be considered a top-five quarterback for the rest of the season. The source notes that if he hits this mark, he becomes a 'set it and forget it' lineup lock, and the analysts would not hesitate to rank him as a top-five option in Week 3.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveUsage35:13

Chuba Hubbard is the clear lead back for Carolina, playing 69% of snaps (43 to 12 over Jonathan Brooks) and out-routing Brooks 21 to 5 in Week 1. The source expects him to maintain a 65-70% snap share, making him a viable fringe RB2 for fantasy lineups.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeUsage5:46

Colston Loveland failed to record any fantasy points in the Week 1 'starts of the week' segment, leading to a zero-point performance that contributed to the team's poor outcome.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveProjection40:05

The source views Moore as being in a great spot for Week 2, noting that his Week 1 performance against Houston was impacted by variance. The upcoming game is expected to provide a clearer picture of his true role alongside Josh Allen.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveBreakout61:11

Dalton Kincaid saw a 77% snap share in Week 1, a significant increase from his 55% mark in 2025, signaling improved health and potential for a breakout; the source added him on waivers and views him as a high-ceiling asset.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeValue44:15

The source views David Montgomery as a 'sell high' candidate despite his Week 1 performance. While he remains a solid RB2, his efficiency (3 yards per carry) and the fact that Woody Marks played 36 snaps to Montgomery's 37 suggest his current value is at a ceiling. The source suggests trading him to upgrade to players like Travis Etienne or Kyron Williams.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveValue45:51

The source prefers starting Drake Maye over Patrick Mahomes for Week 2, citing Maye's fearlessness and rushing upside, despite the tough matchup against Pittsburgh.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveBreakout53:12

Likely is viewed as a sustainable TE1 option following his 8-catch, 78-yard, 2-touchdown performance in Week 1. With Mark Andrews no longer the primary target, Likely is expected to function as the team's number two pass catcher, making him a top-five tight end for Week 2.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

NegativeProjection58:42

The source is hesitant on Joe Burrow for Week 2 against the Texans, noting that while he was fine against the Buccaneers, he lacks the high-variance rushing upside that Josh Allen possesses to overcome tough defensive matchups.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeDepth Chart37:10

While the Panthers drafted Jonathan Brooks to eventually be the guy, the source does not believe he will immediately overtake Chuba Hubbard, noting that the division is wide open and the team is currently leaning on Hubbard for the short term.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection21:54

Justin Herbert is a 'buy' for one more week as a top-10 quarterback, but the source expresses significant concern. If he does not perform well against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2, he will likely be downgraded for the remainder of the season due to a difficult upcoming schedule (Buffalo, Seattle, Denver, Kansas City, Baltimore).

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveBreakout38:16

Despite missing offseason time and playing only 53% of snaps in Week 1, Nabers delivered 6 catches for 69 yards on 9 targets (31% target share) and 40% of team air yards. The source highlights him as a buy-low candidate, noting his playing time will increase and he faces a Rams defense that allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers in Week 1.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveProjection63:36

The source is significantly upgrading Mike Evans following his 16.9-point Week 1 performance and the news that DeJuan Stribling will be out for a month; he is now viewed as a high-end wide receiver three or low-end wide receiver two.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveUsage53:50

LaPorta maintained strong usage in Week 1 with an 81% snap share and 8 targets. The source remains high on him, particularly given the high over-under for his upcoming game against the Bills.

Insight page
PositiveUsage56:45

Sam LaPorta recorded an 81% snap share in Week 1, which ranked eighth among tight ends, alongside eight targets; the source is encouraged by this usage given his lingering preseason hip and back injuries.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeUsage50:48

Kraft played 66% of snaps in Week 1, down from his 87% average over the last two seasons, and saw a 15% target share. While he made explosive plays, the source remains cautious, noting he needs to reach a 19-21% target share to sustain TE1 value and that his previous success was boosted by favorable matchups.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeUsage47:12

Woody Marks played 36 snaps compared to David Montgomery's 37 in Week 1, indicating a significant role in the Lions' backfield. He was active in passing downs and two-minute situations, which the source notes is valuable for fantasy.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveUsage43:48

Flowers recorded a 46.2% target share before exiting his Week 1 game early. While the source acknowledges this share is unsustainable, they believe a 30% target share is realistic given the lack of competition in the Ravens' passing attack, which would make him a consistent top-10 wide receiver.

0:00Hey, we've got some game time tips to share.
0:02When you're hosting doing football season, you've got to be ready for every kind of craving.
0:07Somebody wants fresh pizza, somebody wants crispy wings, somebody's asking if there's sliders.
0:10That's why you need more than one call in the playbook.
0:13Frigidaire offers a range with over 15 cooking modes so you can tackle hosting with confidence.
0:18There's stone baked pizza for restaurant quality pizza in as little as two minutes, air fried mode for crispy favorites, and air sous vide for juicy tender sliders.
0:25Plus, there's slow cook, no preheat, and more. That's the game time MVP combo.
0:29Stone baked pizza and air fry, both built right into your oven.
0:32So whether you're getting ready for kickoff or feeding a full house, Frigidaire has every craving covered.
0:37Available at the Home Depot. How doers get more done.
0:40Only when using stone baked pizza mode, cook time requires preheat and reheat and may vary based on ingredients.
0:45What's up, friends? Welcome into Fantasy Focus Football alongside Field Yates and Mike Clay.
0:49You guys know what day it is? Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, you know what day it is?
0:54Pop day! Well executed by the two of them.
0:57We did not even plan that. I'm glad that you knew.
0:59I know who it is. No fool. You're no fool?
1:02It's interesting, though, because you may have noticed that Daniel tried to tease something hilarious and funny up to Mike, and Mike
1:08indulged him and played along with the bit. He did?
1:11Meanwhile, I try to do things to kind of pique Mike's interest a little bit, get him going, maybe draw some energy
1:17out of Mike Clay, and he e-ores me. That does happen.
1:20What? You e-ore me. E-ore. Do you know who E-ore is?
1:23Just like, that was a joke. Oh, got it.
1:25Oh, that was the joke. Nailed it. All right, you know what they say when you have to explain the joke.
1:31Yeah. Perfect joke. We're very excited to have Field back.
1:34Obviously spent a little bit of time yesterday in Miami, then flew up really quickly to the Cape Cod, and then finished
1:40out with dinner in Jackson Hole before making his way back here to us.
1:43A little tanner. A little tanner. Do you guys see it on the watch tan?
1:48Yeah, I can see it. I can see it.
1:50The watch tan is prevalent today. That Miami sun in September does not skip a beat.
1:54Does not at all. You know what else doesn't skip a beat?
1:58This show right now as we dive into all the fun stuff that we're going to get into today.
2:03We're going to pay off everything that was week one really quickly with the starts of the week.
2:08Normally, we would do that yesterday, but because Field wasn't here, we wanted to wait and do it today.
2:13Yeah, we did do the knockout league, though. Yes, we did.
2:16Your team got chopped, obviously. Yes, Field, Jace, NFL.
2:18Don't worry about it. We don't have to talk about it any longer.
2:22No big deal. That's funny because, yeah, they don't see it that way.
2:25Yeah, we got week two rankings as well and some random rankings.
2:29We got a loser punishment as well that Field is going to spin the wheel on.
2:33But first and foremost, guys, let's start with the starts of the week really quickly.
2:37We'll close out all the things that was week one.
2:40By the way, for our production team up there, just so you guys can have a little peek behind the curtain, we got no monitors in here today.
2:47We cannot see our starts of the week. I think Field pulled some plugs out.
2:51Yeah. That's what happened. Actually, you know what? I felt at the end of Sunday night, I was like, okay, that team
2:57was really bad, my starts of the week team.
3:00It wasn't as bad. It was bad, but I mean, it was the worst out of the three of us, but it
3:06was a little closer than I thought it was going to be.
3:09Agreed. He's like, I was really bad, but actually, you guys were bad too.
3:13You guys were pretty bad too. Unacceptable picks, an okay pick, and the worst pick of the week by far.
3:18The worst pick of the season. Mine were okay.
3:21I'm pretty, I mean, Herbert underperformed, but Javante and Alave went off.
3:24Mayer, nine points from a tight end is fine.
3:26It's not great, but it's fine. So I'm okay with it.
3:29All right. So you end up with 74.86 points.
3:32Yep. Daniel with Dak Prescott, Travis Achan, Lad McConkie, Trevor H, Travis Achan, sorry, and Jawan Johnson all scored at least 14.4 fantasy points.
3:38You go for 62.8. Yep. I go with Jackson Dart.
3:41Thank you, Jackson. Crushed it. Reese Hall. Also did great.
3:44Tett McBillen, and a half points, and Colson Loveland.
3:46You know what sucks about this is you get to use these players one time the entire season, and Colson Loveland gave you a zero.
3:53The amazing part is, so again, there's only three of us picking, and once you guys make your choice at tight end
3:59quarterback or running back, I can just wait and be patient.
4:02So in the third round, I had a tight end that I believe a running back left over to take, and I
4:08was like, well, I'm not going to take a tight end because you guys already have.
4:12I'll just save Colson Loveland for my final pick.
4:15I did that, and that's what you get for waiting.
4:18I got zero points. So do I get to spin the punishment for myself?
4:21Yeah, you bet. We said the entire draft season.
4:24I'll come over there. All right, all right. See you from there.
4:27Don't wait on tight end. I'll switch. We'll do this.
4:30In between us. Okay, they want it in between, so you sit down.
4:33Here we go. I'm going to bring it over.
4:36Hold on. It's all right. We know what we're doing.
4:38It's week one. We do have a strict, you break it, you pay for it policy in the studio.
4:44We need a better plan for this next week.
4:46All right. Here we go. Here we go. Just a quick reminder.
4:49Baby food taste test. Safe smelling salts. Chats choice.
4:52Beer mile. Super sour starts of the week. TikTok dance trend.
4:55Temporary neck tattoo. Fantasy poetry slam. Double punishment. Winner's choice.
4:57Wax a leg. Wear Fields Bucky suit. That's not even a punishment.
5:01You do that home for fun anyways. All right.
5:03And then everyone loses. Fields, you go ahead. And there's at least one of these.
5:07We kind of have to run by the powers that be.
5:10So if we get it, we'll discuss it. But anyways, here we go.
5:14Without further ado. Bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum.
5:17I'm already spinning, spinning, spinning. And we're getting two.
5:19No! No way. What? No way. What are you talking about?
5:22No way. That is hilarious. You've got to be kidding me.
5:25Oh my gosh. I don't like it. I should be exempt because I was first.
5:29You, that's not, that's exempt. So what happens? Everyone loses.
5:32Everyone spins. And whatever I get, we all have to do it together.
5:35Oh my God. I am sorry, guys. Oh no.
5:38Thanks a lot. For absolutely nothing. Thank you, Colston Loveland, for this.
5:41Who put that on there? What a spark right there.
5:44I can't believe this is week one. Again! We're going to double lose!
5:47Okay, hold on. At this point, we're done, right?
5:50We're done. We're good? What does that mean? They cancel each other out.
5:53We'll do one more. One last time. One more.
5:56Oh my. If it goes again, then we are not, we are not.
5:59We're exactly up for it. Yes, spin the wheel.
6:02Come on. Do we have like a wait that's allowing it to stop when everybody loses?
6:06I wish. Back to back times? No, I want everyone.
6:09Oh, we're not getting it. There's not one back there?
6:12Temporary neck tattoo for a field. You're going to look so sick with a temporary neck tattoo.
6:16We're all going to have temporary neck tattoos, though, Daniel.
6:19Oh, shoot. You forgot already? I forgot already. All right, moving on.
6:22Temporary neck tattoos will be applied. We can decide what day we want to do them.
6:27I would say preferably not tomorrow. I got to do TV all day.
6:30No, that's fair. Now we're definitely talking tomorrow. We'll talk about this maybe on Friday.
6:34I like that. We got to get like, I want bulky neck tattoos.
6:38We got to think about what they are. As I said, Cody Rhodes style neck tattoos.
6:42Yes. We actually could probably on Amazon get Cody Rhodes tattoos.
6:45Yeah. I wouldn't be shocked if we could go on Amazon and find some Mike Clay tattoos as well.
6:50You know, our buddy from the footballers because he's got some neck tattoos as well.
6:54All right, let's dive in here really quickly. Field, you sent out a tweet.
6:58Yeah, I'm going to do this every week. Asking the best worst teams of the week.
7:02Yeah, so does your team absolutely stink in week one?
7:05First of all, you're not alone. My Stars of the Week team definitely stink.
7:09Definitely stink. Mike's knockout team stunk. That one was bad.
7:12But I wanted to see, like, I wanted to get some of the best worst fantasy teams of the week.
7:17And I want to try to do this each and every week because I know that we play this game.
7:23We look forward to it all year. But one bad week can completely change your stance on playing fantasy football.
7:28Yeah. If you're thinking about retirement after week one because the lineup you put up, just I want you all to know this is a safe space.
7:35You're not alone. So let's go ahead and run a couple of the lineups from week one.
7:40These are real, actual lineups. Now, this is a non-PPR league.
7:43So let me start here. I'm going to read the first team.
7:46Bo Nix, Devon Achan, Rico Dowdle, Saquon Barkley, Devontae Adams, Ted Arone McMillan, Mark Andrews, the Patriots defense, and Cameron Dicker, which
7:52meant the high score of that team was on the bench.
7:55Well, Jamie Daniels on the bench. But the high score of the player that actually participated in the game was Devon Achan.
8:01Oh, Saquon had eight, but not by much, though.
8:04And then on the other side, another person won a matchup with this team.
8:07Drake May, Jadarian Price, Jonathan Brooks, Marvin Harrison Jr., Jamar Chase, Drake London, Trey McBride, the Texans defense, and Harrison Mevis, who
8:13got one point on one extra point. Thank goodness for Trey McBride.
8:1742.32 to 42.14. That is awful. That's disgusting. Awful right there.
8:20And that's in a three-receiver league. Wow. That is not in a two-wide receiver league.
8:2442. So shout out to that person who won, but barely.
8:27Here's another bad one. And this is, once again, I think this one actually is PPR.
8:31No, it's not. I take that back. Sorry. I actually don't know what kind of scoring this is because it's kind of funky.
8:37Half PPR. It looks like it's half point. Yes, there you go.
8:40Half PPR. Good call, Mike. Here we go. Drake May, James Cook, Jadarian Price, Devontae Smith, Ted Aron McMillan, Tucker Craft, Saquon
8:46Barkley, the Rams defense, and Chase McLaughlin, who got to 11 points.
8:50He was the best player on your team, White Sox fan, Michael.
8:53Wow. At least the White Sox are pretty good this year.
8:56They're going to make the playoffs if I had to guess.
8:59Last one. Call the postseason baseball. Bob Harward, this is the last one here.
9:03And this one is, again, non-PPR. A lot of these scores are low because they're non-PPR.
9:07We're taking PPR submissions as well. But Bo Nix, James Cook, Travis HN, Jackson Smith and Jigba, Jamison Williams, Tucker Craft, Rashi Rice, Jalen Waddle.
9:14You're probably thinking going into this week, I got Jackson Smith and Jigba with 18.2.
9:18We're cooking right here. Not so fast, my friends.
9:20So 58.44 points. We'll take a look at more non-PPR submissions going forward.
9:24But man alive, this game is the greatest thing ever.
9:27And it can agonize you to no end. And by the way, the guy who, that team, the one that you just
9:33said put up 58 points and lost by about 50 points in week one, the defending champion of his league.
9:38So it shows you things can change quickly. The worst.
9:41That guy obviously knows what he's doing. Our friend JJ Zacharyson today posted a graphic, or it might have been last night,
9:47showing the correlation between where guys are after week one and where they are by the end of the season at each
9:53position, like in terms of fantasy performance. And there's almost no correlation.
9:56Week one can be chaos, right? Wow. Don't overthink week one very much.
10:00You know, we're just looking forward. There's a long way to go here.
10:03Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss.
10:06It started with a kickoff. Or perhaps it was love at first hike.
10:09But unfortunately, many of these football lovers don't live in the same city as their team, which is why Marriott Bonvoy has
10:15hotels close to nearly every NFL stadium, bringing fans closer to the teams they love with over 30 different hotel brands.
10:21So if you want to stay closer to your team, check in for game day with Marriott Bonvoy, the official sponsor of the NFL.
10:27We'll see you there. Every game day starts before the lights go up, before the snap, before the roar.
10:33Something's already at work. Cleaner, quieter energy production, running where the game lives.
10:36Strong enough for fourth and goal, smart enough for what comes next.
10:39Powering game day, powering the fans and powering the communities that show up every Saturday.
10:44The same energy that runs your stadium, runs the schools and the hospital in your neighborhood.
10:48That is performance powered by Bloom Energy. Powering game days, powering communities.
10:51Getting out of high interest credit card debt is hard by yourself, which is why SoFi thinks it should be a team sport.
10:57Help yourself out with a SoFi personal loan and consolidate your high interest debt into one low monthly payment.
11:03Save even more with no fees required and do it with the speed you need with as soon as the same day funding.

11:12Loans originated by SoFi Bank, NA member FDIC, terms and conditions apply, and MLS 696891.
11:16Fast funds, terms apply. It's SoFi.com slash team sport.
11:19Well, if you do that, congratulations, because that makes you different from me.
11:22Because I've been overthinking week one since Monday Night Football.
11:25I did everything perfect process. Not me. Let's dive into our week two rankings where we're not overthinking it or overreacting to
11:31all the things that happened in week one. We'll start at the quarterback position, my friends.
11:35Do it. Quarterbacks that we got here for the top 10 in week two.
11:39We got Josh Allen. Surprisingly a QB1. Everyone has him there this week.
11:42Yeah, weird. Lamar Jackson, Brock Purdy, Jalen Hurts, Dak Prescott, then Caleb Williams, Jaden Daniels, Justin Herbert at QB8, Jackson Dart at
11:489, and Patrick Mahomes rounds out the top 10, my friends.
11:51Yeah. What do you notice about this list? Mike, anything out to you?
11:55Yeah. Something very much stands out. A guy that's usually maybe 8th through 12th in the rankings, maybe sometimes a little lower, sitting at QB3.
12:02Yeah. This week. Purdy, pretty good. Purdy. I wonder why, guys.
12:05I have an idea. That is. I have an idea.
12:07Yeah. Miami switch defense. It's with the big 12 this offseason.
12:10That's what it is. Yeah. Everyone loves Miami is what it sounds like.
12:14Yes. Rough work in progress there for Miami on both sides of the football.
12:18But yeah, Brock Purdy is the guy I want to highlight here for obvious reasons.
12:22I mean, if you drafted him, you got him pretty cheap and you felt like he was probably going to be a streaming option.
12:28Maybe slide in there as your QB1 if he's the best guy you pick.
12:32But he stands out as a must start, a lineup lock here at home against the Miami Dolphins.
12:37First of all, looked really good in the opener.
12:40He was fantastic in that game. 25 of 34, 205 yards, three touchdowns, had the one pick, but also 29 rushing yards,
12:45which is something that he kind of quietly does.
12:48You don't hear much about it, but he can add value with those legs and did that in week number one.
12:54Brock Purdy has one of the best floors in fantasy at quarterback right now.
12:5716.8 plus fantasy points now in 17 of his last 22 games.
13:01Wow. He's averaging 18.6 per game during that stretch.
13:03And again, we just watched Miami give up three passing touchdowns to Kirk Cousins in week one.
13:08This should be an easy game for the 49ers, especially on offense.
13:11With your start. Yeah. Yeah. What about Justin Herbert, guys?
13:14Can we talk about this kid? Because we had high expectations coming in.
13:17I'm worried if it doesn't get going here already in week two, we might be out on Justin Herbert.
13:22Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I understand. There's a reason why.
13:25Yes, there's a reason why. Let's just, we'll talk about this week for right now first, but like taking on the Las
13:31Vegas Raiders, they were just so bad in week one against the Cardinals at home.
13:35I'm aware, Daniel. Guys, 209 passing yards, one touchdown.
13:38I do love that he had 29 yards on the ground, but only 13.2 fantasy points against this Raiders squad.
13:43We need to see what we expected in week one, because if we don't, when you look at the schedule coming up
13:49and we'll throw up a full screen about this, you look at the schedule coming up for Justin Herbert.
13:54If he does not get rolling against Las Vegas, we might be out on him as a starter.
13:59Then he goes at Buffalo across the country at Seattle, then Denver, then at Kansas City, then a bye, then at LA, then the Texans.
14:06And then he's at Baltimore. I mean, the Jets and the, this gets really tough.
14:10He needs to get on a roll now in this game, because I don't think if he doesn't get it rolling before
14:16we get into that meat of the schedule, we're going to have a hard time having Justin Herbert as a top 10 quarterback.
14:22We're going to downgrade him for matchup in almost every single one of those situations.
14:27So he needs to be playing at like a top five level.
14:30An elite level. Because if you factor in the matchup, just to consider starting him as a top 10 or top 12
14:36option, he has to be playing at that elite level.
14:38We are buying in one more week as a top 10 guy because of all the stuff that we thought we were going to see last week.
14:46We just, we have to see it against the Raiders.
14:49Otherwise we'll be singing a different tune about Justin Herbert.
14:51Yeah. Buffalo in week three, I think they can move the football in that game.
14:55Jared Goff moved the football tomorrow night as well.
14:58But yeah, I hear you. Listen, this one's tough for me to discuss at this moment.
15:02I'm very frustrated by how the Chargers performed. Me too.
15:05In week one. I think we all are, but I was especially confident in this group coming into the season.
15:10I did tell a funny story before the show on Fantasy Focus Countdown on Sunday.
15:14We did an eliminator segment where we all made our picks.
15:17There was four of us in total. And I was very, very, I was, I thought Joe Fortenbaugh was playing with fire by picking the Raiders.
15:24And Joe, who of course, betting guy and kind of knows playing the long game, how important that can be, was like,
15:30this is your one chance to bet on there.
15:33Pick the Raiders, do it and run the risk.
15:35He wins. I lose because I picked the Chargers.
15:38And I was brazen with my confidence. I do, of course, I put my money where my mouth is and I make my picks.
15:44And I was telling the guys this morning that I got a reminder to make my pick for week two and eliminate your challenge.
15:51Okay. I'm like, what the crap is this? Like, am I going to have to get reminded every week that I picked the freaking Chargers in week one?
15:58Like, is this taunting? Yeah, it is taunting. I had to put a neck tattoo on.
16:03I've got to pick the Chargers again. No. It turns out, I don't know if I accidentally did this or if I
16:09was hedging against my own confidence, but I went in there and checked and I picked the Jaguars in week one.
16:14Love it. So I'm still alive. You're alive, baby.
16:17Not alive in the court of public opinion because people are like, what a trash pick that was.
16:22That's okay. That being said, I am alive in the Eliminator League, so that's good news.
16:26And I am picking the Buccaneers this weekend over the Browns.
16:29Field Yates does not put his money where his mouth is.
16:32Well, I didn't in this case. Not in that case.
16:35And I'm not mad about it. My quarterback pick and the theme for four out of my five picks with the reminder
16:41that QB and tight end are both inside the top 10.
16:44Yep. And then wide receiver and running back are both inside the top 20.
16:48My general theme for four out of my five picks is guys who mashed in week one with an opportunity to kind
16:54of further cement themselves in week two, right? Not guys, not that Brock Purdy is Josh Allen, but there's a longer stretch
16:59of Brock Purdy Highest scoring player in all of fantasy in week one.
17:03The guy was lights out. He had his first career game with multiple rushing touchdowns.
17:07That's going to be hard to come by in general, but still an excellent feat for him.
17:12He averaged 9.3 yards per attempt. So he was aggressive as a runner.
17:15He was aggressive as a thrower. He completed 11 of 12 passes when throwing short of the sticks as well.
17:21Much more accurate, right? So Caleb was hitting the throws he needed to hit, but he also was running.
17:26He also was afraid, unafraid to take shots down the field when they were available.
17:30The reason why I think this game matters so much is he's not playing the Panthers again.
17:35Yes. He's instead playing the Vikings. And you may say, well, Jordan Love in the first half was lighting up the Vikings.
17:40And that's fair. That's true. That's accurate. He ended up completing 50% of his passes to Jordan Love.
17:45And Caleb Williams has played Minnesota four times in his career.
17:48Over his last three games, Caleb Williams, this is against Minnesota.
17:51He has attempted 98 passes. You would take 33 pass attempts or 32 and a half passing attempts in any game.
17:57That's a good number for a quarterback in general.
18:00So in a good sample size on a per-game basis, Caleb Williams, over those last three games against the Vikings, has two touchdown passes.
18:06Two. So Brian Flores, I think we would all agree, amongst the best defensive minds in the NFL.
18:11I hate playing the Vikings defense. This is going to be a kitchen sink game.
18:15Have you guys seen all the charts that break down the blitz rate by defensive play callers from week one?
18:20Of course we have, Mike and I both. We know ball.
18:23I mean, honestly, Mike might have in his database.
18:26Yeah. But anyways, if you go look, there's a bunch of charts that have made their way around the internet.
18:31And basically it was like a lot of defensive coordinators throwing a comparable number of blitzes.
18:36And then it was Brian Flores so far off the charts, you couldn't see him.
18:40Like they blitzed on like 85% of Jordan Love's dropbacks this past week.
18:43Now the Packers offensive line, terrible. The Bears offensive line, quite good.
18:47It'll be a different challenge for them. But if Caleb Williams comes out with 22 fantasy points on Sunday against a Brian
18:52Flores defense, I think that the confidence level for Caleb Williams goes to the point where if he bubbles up as quarterback
18:58five in our rankings in week three, we don't talk about it.
19:02We're just like, yeah, all right, Caleb Williams said it and forget it.
19:05He's a lineup lock in the playbook. Move on.
19:08If we get, if we had 22 points in week two, after what we saw in week one, I think top five,
19:14basically rest of season until I am seeing something else with my eyes makes a ton of sense.
19:19I'm going with, I'm going to try to avoid until we're at like week 10, like rest of season because it's like so much changes week to week.
19:26Sure, sure. If I rank Caleb number five overall amongst quarterbacks in week three, I'm not going to feel like I have
19:32to come to the show with an argument prepared for it.
19:35I'm going to be like, yeah, the guy's been nailed for two straight weeks, right?
19:39So huge weekend for Caleb Williams. Number six right now in ESPN consensus rankings.
19:43Yeah. You guys are actually lower than me this week, so I'm buying in on him, but you're right.
19:48This is a big test. Great deal. Actually a note.
19:51My rankings, I was having a little bit of an issue with the rankings tool last night.
19:56Happens. Happens every once in a while. Caleb, we bumped up a little bit.
19:59The Wi-Fi, you know, on airplanes and on the beach.
20:02Must not have, you weren't on United, were you?
20:04I was not on Starlink. Yeah, that was the problem.
20:07That was the problem. I needed to be on United.
20:10I flew Mike's jet and the airplane Wi-Fi is not great.
20:13Oh, that's not good. I'll talk to my guy about that.
20:16Yes, that's fair. All right, let's talk about running backs next, my friends.
20:19Top 20 running backs here in consensus for week two.
20:22Top three do not surprise. Jameer Gibbs. Actually, the top five don't surprise.
20:26Jameer Gibbs, Bajon Robinson, CMC, Jonathan Taylor, and Ashton Gentey, 6 through 10, Derrick Henry, Kenneth Walker III after that major game.
20:32James Cook back in the top 10. Javante Williams and Saquon Barkley, 11 through 20.
20:36Devon Achan, Omari and Hampton, Brees Hall, Chase Brown, and DeAndre Swift with David Montgomery, Kyron Williams, Bucky Irving, Chuba Hubbard, and Ramondre Stevenson.
20:42Pretty good group. Yeah, pretty good group right there.
20:45Not too bad. Are you buying in, Mike, I saw that you wanted to talk about Chuba Hubbard.
20:50Are you buying into this potentially being his backfield after week one?
20:53Do you think there's more in this tank? How do you feel about this kid?
20:57A lot of coaches and play callers kind of just told us what we needed to know in week one, whether it
21:03was splitting up the backfield or leaning heavily on one running back.
21:06And Carolina told us what their plan is, at least for the short term.
21:10It's exactly what field he had thought it was going to be.
21:13It's the Chuba Hubbard show for sure. Played 69% of the snaps.
21:16He did that once of all last season. I believe it was week two last year.
21:21So it was a little bit different in terms of usage.
21:24The snaps were 43 to 12 over Jonathan Brooks.
21:26He also out-routed him. Is that out-routed? Yeah. Ran more routes.
21:29I said stinked earlier. So out-routed. Out-routed. It sounds, yeah.
21:32He ran 21 routes to Brooks' five. So it wasn't even close in passing situations or even running the ball.
21:37I mean, it wasn't a high-volume game because they were trailing throughout, but he still had 10 for 49 and a touchdown.
21:43Targeted three times at 38 yards there for a touchdown as well.
21:47So the only pause is we'll kind of see how good the Atlanta defense is against the run.
21:51It's too early to tell. I'm not too worried about it.
21:54They did hold the Steelers running backs in check last week, but I consider this a neutral matchup.
21:59Maybe it leans towards a good matchup, but the bottom line is the guy is probably going to play 65, 70% of the snaps.
22:06And in this league, that's enough to be at least a fringe RB too.
22:10So he'll be in my lineups this week if I have him.
22:13Are you worried at all about what we've seen in the past from Chuba Hubbard where this might be a really nice
22:19start to the season and then we haven't seen him keep the job necessarily?
22:23He did, what, two years ago and three years ago.
22:25It was just last year that he got hurt and then he wasn't playing well.
22:30They want Jonathan Brooks to be the guy. I mean, they drafted him.
22:33At some point. I don't feel that way personally because I didn't feel that way coming into the season.
22:38So I'm okay with Chuba kind of like maintaining sort of like low-end RB2 flex value.
22:43I also would note that like when he did lose that job last year when he got hurt, like Rico Dowdle didn't play like pretty good football.
22:50He played like best running back in NFL football for three weeks.
22:53Back-to-back 200-yard rushing games. They didn't really have a choice, right?
22:56Like it wasn't, it was so good from him that they had no choice but to keep Rico Dowdle as the hot hand there for a little while.
23:04And that's kind of what they said too. Yeah.
23:06It's like they had press and they're like, look.
23:09I mean, what do you want us to do?
23:11And then he did start to come back to earth and then Hubbard started to play a little more down the stretch.
23:17One dynamic I'm always thinking about early in the season in fantasy for backfields is if there are teams that aren't very
23:23good, that we either know from the beginning or eventually show themselves to not be very good, could a veteran be vulnerable
23:29to losing his role or losing some of his role down the stretch to a young up-and-comer?
23:34I don't think that's really in play here for Carolina because this division is so wide open.
23:38They won the division last year. That to me would be the clearest path for Jonathan Brooks to see his role expand
23:44more than I think the Panthers are currently expecting it to expand.
23:47And this is not the only example. Just an example is like, I wonder what happens if Tennessee goes 0-4 to start.
23:53Like, does Tony Pollard generate some trade interest? Not that Tony's an amazing player, but still, like, teams looking for some depth at running back.
24:00Could the team say, you know, Tajay Spears is in a contract here.
24:04Like, we should probably decide whether he's going to be a guy for us going forward.
24:08Tennessee, of course, did not look good in week one.
24:11Doesn't apply, though, in the case of Carolina to me.
24:14Yeah. Rich Eisen here. Running a small business means every hire matters.

25:04Gatorade. Hydrates better than water. Is it in you?
25:07Symptoms noted are signs of mild to moderate dehydration.
25:09Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist. All right, I'm going to talk about David Montgomery, guys.
25:14Another year he was drafted outside the top 20 at running back.
25:17Another year we're already in week two. We're ranking him inside the top 20 and it's not because of injuries.
25:23It's not because of bye weeks. It's David Montgomery kind of doing the narrative that we thought it would be, which means
25:29he needs to be a touchdown equity guy in this offense, one.
25:32And the Texans need to play really good defense for him to touch the ball a lot.
25:36Wasn't very efficient. Only 20 carries. Not only. 20 carries, but only three yards per carry.
25:41Had 60 yards. But he did have three receptions, which I really like as well for 19 yards.
25:46Just the idea that he's getting a little bit more passing game work than we saw in Detroit.
25:51I feel differently than you guys do about Woody Marks.
25:53I understand the split that they had, but I feel like David Montgomery still is going to be the guy with the touchdown equity.
26:00He's going to be the one that they have at the goal line.
26:03He's the guy that it feels like they want to be their short yardage back.
26:07If they loved Woody Marks as much as they did, I don't think they would have brought in David Montgomery and have
26:13him touch the ball 23 times in week one.
26:16I still love him. He's an RB2 for me.
26:18I have him at running back 15. I think everyone has him in the 15 to 20 range.
26:23We're rolling out there again against Cincy, who, by the way, Bucky Irving just carved up this Cincy defense on the ground.
26:29So there's a shot here for the Texans running backs to do some things.
26:33I think we're all closely ranked enough for this week that we see David Montgomery's value in week two similar, right?
26:39I mean, you're at 15. You're at 15. I'm at 19.
26:42Yeah. I was surprised. Actually, I wasn't surprised because it's the internet.
26:45But I went and I saw some of the commentary in response to the video that we posted on Fantasy Focus at
26:51Twitter or on Twitter, I should say, where I described David Montgomery as a sell high.
26:55I think Mike was aligned there. Yeah. And a decent number of the responses.
26:59There were a couple of responses that stood out to me.
27:02One was like, sell high. I got this guy in the seventh round and now I'm playing him in my lineup.
27:08And I'm like, that's kind of the point is that like you got him in the seventh round to maybe be your
27:14flex and somebody else might be like, dude, I would trade you my RB2 for David Montgomery and whoever name your random
27:20RB2 that you think is going to be better over the course of the season than Montgomery and turn Montgomery into that player.
27:26Right? Like after one week, the shine is not off.
27:29Some of these guys were ranked ahead of Montgomery so much that you shouldn't consider trading him.
27:33The other response was like, yeah, but Woody Marks was only playing on passing downs and two minute situations when they're speeding the ball up.
27:40I'm like, that's valuable, right? In our game, it's really valuable.
27:43Also not true. He had nine carries, did Woody Marks.
27:46That's not completely true. But it's also, it's like, you know, there is plenty of data that shows like one target for
27:52a running back is demonstrably more valuable than one rush.
27:54Like if you're saying David Montgomery is going to get to get a ton of rushing volume and maybe a lot of touchdowns, like, okay, fine.
28:01Like he can be Jonathan Taylor light. He averaged three yards a carry, right?
28:05Like he's a good player. People, my other favorite, this is my last favorite one was imagine how many more yards per
28:11carry he would have averaged if he hadn't rushed the ball into the end zone on those two occasions.
28:16Five more yards, maybe. I know. You're right. He would have actually just kept going for three miles and he would have averaged 10 yards per carry.
28:24And also I'll add this. They had 73 offensive snaps.
28:26Normally they're going to have 10 to 12 fewer than that.
28:29So that's also going to inflate his overall snaps here.
28:32Again, he played 37 snaps. Woody Marks played 36.
28:35Woody Marks was on the field for half the plays.
28:37I mean, that's a lot. That's a, that's a big number.
28:40So again, that's our point. We're not saying he can't hang in the RB to flex conversation.
28:45He absolutely can. The point is he's at a ceiling value right now.
28:48So if you could take advantage of that, we're not saying trade him for Marvin Harrison or someone else picked in the seventh round.
28:55The point is maybe you can jump up and get a guy that was drafted in the fourth round or third round
29:01that had a bad week one, throw another piece in something like that.
29:04I don't know. You play the game, you know?
29:07Just a few names. I'm just going to randomly throw three names out here that I think were in the RB2-ish conversation.
29:13I'd be curious where you guys have them right now in like your short-term evaluation.
29:17Would you rather David Montgomery or Kyron Williams? I'm going to still lean towards Kyron.
29:21I think the Rams offense is still going to be good.
29:24Okay. So, but that's a name that I think.
29:27I'd rather have David Montgomery. Okay. So you're different.
29:29You're there. Okay. But I also liked Blake Corum a lot more than you guys did coming into the season.
29:34David Montgomery or Travis HN? Travis HN. HN. Okay.
29:37I think you could make that trade right now.
29:39I think somebody who has Travis HN would take, sorry, somebody who has David Montgomery would take Travis HN right now.
29:45There's a name, right? Let's do, can you do a wide receiver?
29:48Because I think if you grabbed him in the seventh round, maybe as your third running back, the team that's going to
29:54be trading for him wants to start a running back, which means you would probably give up something that's not a running back to get as a starter.
30:02Is there a wide receiver that you feel like would be a good?
30:05Okay. Jamison Williams? I would. Any Bears wide receiver?
30:08Any Bears? Oh, yeah. Kalief Raymond. I think both Bears.
30:11No, not Kalief Raymond. I don't think so. And these are tricky too because it kind of depends on your situation.
30:16But like a Terry McLaurin as well, I think it's interesting.
30:19Like I would lean McLaurin. The hard part with it being a sell high for me is that you're selling high at
30:25a position that always has value and need in fantasy football.
30:28That's why I think you can upgrade. Is that like, I think if you prefer an A-chan or a Bucky Irving, for
30:34example, who I just think is more talented at this stage of his career than David Montgomery, if you feel in your
30:40estimation that for the next, based off what you saw in week one and what you thought of the player coming into
30:46this season, that Travis A-chan is a better bet than David Montgomery, I'd make that offer right now.
30:51What is it that, so as a part of this, because I know you're not saying that David Montgomery isn't good at football.
30:57Yeah, I like him. But if you're selling high on him, it's because you don't think he's going to deliver X amount
31:03of value for your team for the rest of the season.
31:06Do you not? Well, I think it's that there's somebody else that can deliver more value.
31:11That's the point is that like, I think I'm upgrading.
31:13If you think you are upgrading, because I think people after week one, if you offer them David Montgomery for their Travis
31:19A-chan, if there are people that would be like, give me that, right?
31:23And I expressed some of my concerns with A-chan on Monday with just the snap share.
31:27But if you think that David Montgomery is going to be an inferior player to A-chan for the rest of the season,
31:33then I would make that offer right now. Imagine though, if you drafted David Montgomery in the seventh round or eighth round
31:39to be your third running back, and then you're like, great, this is exactly what I wanted.
31:44I have a third running back. I can count on the entire season.
31:47I don't have to worry about any of this stuff.
31:50That's fine. But what if your third running back was a better running back is the point I'm trying to make.
31:56Yeah, exactly. And if he goes 14 for 48 with no touchdowns and one catch for eight yards this week, then that's gone.
32:02Like you, now he's right back to, oh man, like is this a guy of flex?
32:06And that's very possible. Again, like you had a big role from Marks, but Marks also had more of the passing game work in this game.
32:13I mean, 2021 was the last time Montgomery had more than 36 catches in a season.
32:18Like I don't, and based on how they were using week one, I don't see him expanding on that.
32:23Like he's not going to really make up ground in the passing game.
32:26You're really dependent on heavy rushing volume and rushing touchdowns.
32:29And that's scary. I mean, he's not David Monk or he's not a Derek Henry, you know, he is David Montgomery.
32:35He is David Montgomery. Just like if I told you, he's a great player after week one to just have an overreaction
32:41conversation to be honest with how big that game was.
32:43It's like, if I told you over like blindly, like, Hey, this guy got 20 rushing attempts, but also averaged three yards
32:49per carry and also played 50% of the snaps and also probably got at least two goal line carries.
32:55Like there might be some people that deem the 50% of the snaps and the three yards per carry, not enough, more
33:01valuable in terms of things that could stay over time than the 20 carries is what I would say.
33:06Understood. We'll see how it works. We have him as RB two here in week two.
33:10We'll see more about David Montgomery as we move on field.
33:13You got a running back you want to talk about?
33:16By the way, I feel bad for Monty. Like I have this, we play in this dynasty where two years ago I
33:22won and I had a very veteran team. And it was like all my good veterans that year was like, I do
33:28have Lamar, but Lamar D Henry, Monty, Saquon. This is the Saquon brilliant year with 2000 yards.
33:32James Connor was still hanging around Debo, Travis, Kelsey, George Kittle.
33:35So I'm very old and I was not, I was like, you know, eighth out of 12 last year.
33:40Everybody kind of cratered. And then week one, all my old guys were good.
33:44You know, Derek Henry was good. Crushing it again.
33:47And so I had an absolutely ridiculous week one.
33:49And David Montgomery is part of that team. And so I'm like super invested in Monty to be great.
33:54I just am nervous. Like if you guys, again, if you want to offer me Jamar Chase and dynasty, I will take him.
34:01We'll see. I have Jack Bish. I mean, he's scored in week one.
34:04Listen, do not write that kid off yet. No way.
34:07All right. I mentioned my theme is like, you did it in week one.
34:11Let's see you do it again in week two.
34:13And it would mean more. Ashton Janty did it many times in week one.
34:17He was awesome, right? That was like the vision we were looking for.
34:20And I continue to go back to like, so encouraged by the scheme, the innovation, such a 180 from where they were last year.
34:27It was have a Ferrari, let it drive on the highway as opposed to have a Ferrari and let it drive through,
34:33you know, quicksand in your backyard like last year.
34:35Right. He had a 16 carry six, not carry 16 touches that gained at least five yards.
34:40He was explosive. Importantly, he played 73.1% of the snaps, which is lower than where he was at last year.
34:45He was at like 85 in a lot of weeks.
34:48It was ridiculous, but it was still fifth amongst running.
34:51Yeah, it's very high. Elite to be at 73% or higher.
34:54So love the role, love the explosiveness, love the creativity, obviously love the talent, love the toughness, love the fact that this
35:00guy, players were circling around him in prayer like three weeks ago.
35:03And people were fading him in drafts for 48 hours.
35:06Shefty tells us he's all good and he has a monster week one.
35:09He looks great. The rubber meets the road a little bit on Sunday though.
35:13The Cardinals backs were actually fine against the Chargers, but I think we would all agree, as Mike mentioned with Brock Purdy
35:19facing the Dolphins this week, that the Dolphins defense is so bad that you have to account for that a little bit.
35:25Ashton Gentry could still have a really effective game this weekend and go for 15 fantasy points.
35:30If he goes for 22, then we're like, all right, do we have a new member of that elite tier of running backs, right?
35:36The Jameer Gibbs, B. John Robinsons, Jonathan Taylor, Christian McCaffrey.
35:39Maybe it's those guys and then Ashton Gentry is sneaking up right behind him.
35:43Did I forget somebody there? No. I would only push back a little bit by saying that I would trust it, depending
35:49on what he does in this one. Okay. Once we see Brock Bowers out there in that offense, if he gets another
35:55five or six receptions in this game, I'd be like, great, this is the passing game work that we want.
36:00But we need the number one tight end in football to be out there also to know what's actually going to look like when he's out there.
36:07It's just a little bit of a pushback. I think he's safe to be in that three to five target range.
36:13I agree with you. Which is fine if he's going to handle most of the carries.
36:17I mean, I think our hesitation, even if he wasn't hurt, if he was healthy, our hesitation was all the Mike Washington hype.
36:24Like, is he actually going to steal enough to kind of hold back his fantasy value?
36:28If week one's an indication, the answer's no. The other thing I would say is that it's not just the number of targets he gets.
36:35It's like the utilization of those targets. Last year, he saw a ton of work, obviously, in the passing game.
36:40So much of Ashton Gentry in the passing game last year was Mike's guy, Geno Smith, being under duress and just dumping
36:46it, you know, one yard behind the line of scrimmage.
36:49And six catches. I feel like there was a game last year where he had six catches for seven yards.
36:54And you're like, all right, well, you got the six fantasy points, but you didn't get the seven fantasy points because he had seven receiving yards.
37:02Yeah. That's a tough one. They did address the offensive line, obviously, signing Tyler Ludenbaum there.
37:06And I do think Kirk Cousins is great as far as, you know, for his value right now early in the season.
37:12So, all right, let's talk about some wide receivers, my friends.
37:15Wide receivers here in week two. Puka leading off at wide receiver one with Amon Ra, JSN, Jamar Chase, CeeDee Lamb, Justin
37:21Jefferson, Chris Olave, Nico Collins, Rashi Rice, and Zay Flowers rounding out the top 10.
37:2511 through 20. George Pickens, Garrett Wilson, Drake London, Ladd McConkie.
37:28We'll get some more information on him. Malik Nabors, Devonta Smith, DJ Moore, Emeka Abuka, Devonta Adams, and Tedaroa McMillan, the number two wide receiver in Carolina.
37:35Rounding out the top 20 wide receivers there, guys.
37:38Good stuff. There are a couple names that we're not going to discuss that really stand out to me.
37:43Drake London will be a great conversation tomorrow. But Mike, I'm still not sure what to make of the quarterback situation there.
37:49So, yeah, we'll keep an eye on that. But the guy I'm highlighting is a guy I think you're all a little too low on, Malik Nabors.
37:56You looked the part in week one. I'm a wide receiver 11.
37:59You guys are down closer. The consensus at least at 15.
38:02I mean, for a guy who didn't know until that day he was going to play in the game, who missed so
38:08much of the offseason, who barely played last year with a new coach, a new play caller, essentially a new quarterback, more competition for targets.
38:15Just nine targets, six catches, 69 yards, and didn't find the end zone.
38:19But he looked really good. Also, he only played 53% of the snaps and still delivered at that level.
38:24The good news is in terms of playing time, first of all, it's only going to increase.
38:28But he was out there when they threw the ball, and they threw it to him a lot.
38:33His route participation was 77%. His target share, 31%.
38:36And here it is. I think it's the debut for this year.
38:39The first air yard stat for field. Yes! Yes!
38:41Let's do it! Love it. 40%. 40% of the air yards for Malik Nabors in this game.
38:46Now they play the Rams. They're going to LA.
38:49The Rams just allowed touchdowns, too. Not one, not two, but three 49ers receivers.
38:52Evans, Debo, and Demarcus Robinson all found the end zone.
38:55They allowed the fourth most fantasy points to that position in week one.
38:59So right now we're not really afraid of that situation.
39:01I'm right back in on Malik Nabors. Good to go.
39:04Can I push back on one thing? Please. Malik Nabors is what year of his career?
39:08He is year three. Yeah. This is year three.
39:11But week one showed us that the Rams are specifically vulnerable.
39:14Yes. To guys that are eligible for social support.
39:16Ah. Like Evans, Debo Samuel. I appreciate you taking the baton and making fun of old players now.
39:21Like, I don't know if they're doing it. You with McCaffrey all offseason.
39:25Now you with the receivers. I'm just a little concerned that the, yeah.
39:28I could be the optimist around here once in a while.
39:31Love that. He looked great in week one. Hopefully we continue to get that from that entire Giants.
39:36I just love that he was clearly featured right out of the gate.
39:40Yeah. It wasn't any hesitation when he was on the field.
39:43They threw him the ball a ton. Jackson Dart looked awesome.
39:46A lot of optimism. They have a ton of things to prove.
39:49It's just one week. But maybe the offensive coordinator who faced the most questions this offseason, Matt Nagy, was excellent.
39:54Excellent in week one. That was a statement game.
39:57They looked great. Definitely. They looked great. Yep. Love that.
39:59You said six catches on nine targets for 69 yards.
40:02On 53% of the snaps. That's impressive. Yeah. Let's talk DJ Moore.
40:05I know we're going to talk about him a little bit more tomorrow, but I just want to really quickly say this.
40:11DJ Moore in a great spot after not really feeling like a wide receiver too last week because of the Houston Texans game.
40:18This is where we're really going to see what we think DJ Moore and Josh Allen will probably look like more often
40:24than not, even though they looked great against the Texans.
40:26I think we all kind of agreed. Maybe they got a couple of nice things gifted their way from the football gods.
40:32Variants gone right, I would say. Yeah, that's the right way to say it.
40:36For the Bills in that one. Yeah. Sometimes that happens.
40:39That doesn't mean I wasn't right, but it doesn't mean that the Variants went right that way.
40:43Yeah. There was a lot of close calls. Yeah.
40:46That was a wild game to watch. I mean.
40:48Yes, it was. That was Josh Allen saying, you know what?
40:51It was kind of like the opposite of what the Chiefs did.
40:55It was like the Bills went in and were like, you know what?
40:58We struggled against this team. Let's just go wild and throw it up there, chuck it down the field.
41:03And it worked. Everything, every single thing seemed to go their way.
41:07And then the Chiefs were just like, we're going to snap and throw it immediately and run the ball.
41:12And everything's conservative to protect themselves from a good defense.
41:14It was like the exact opposite. It worked for both teams.
41:17Yep. I can't wait to see what the Chiefs offense looks like on Sunday night.
41:21Because for our, I know you guys talked about this yesterday.
41:24For our purposes, we need a whole lot more out of the passing game.
41:28Yes, we do. Oh yeah. Rishi Rice. I'm sure we'll get to him over the next couple of days.
41:33Fascinating case study. He is perhaps the name that sticks out the most in our top 10 of the batter.
41:39Yeah. We'll get there. I'm optimistic, but we'll get, we'll get there.
41:42Yep. I have a, I'm talking about Zay Flowers in a second.
41:45This game should be on Sunday night. The Lions and the Bills.
41:49Rather than Thursday night football? Yes. I feel, and I feel passionately about this.
41:52It's Chiefs Colts on Sunday night. I understand the Chiefs couldn't play on Thursday, but they could play in the afternoon.
41:58Somebody else could play on Thursday. Would you guys agree that, you know, like probably more Bills fans not living in Buffalo
42:04than you do like a typical fan base. I just feel like Bills fans are so passionate that I've met a lot
42:10of Bills fans, not in Buffalo my life. Right?
42:13Yep. This is the opening of their stadium. There are going to be a lot of Bills fans from out of town
42:19that want to get back to this game and show their support for their beloved franchise.
42:23I don't like that it's on Thursday night. On a Thursday night game.
42:26You got to miss two days of work, right?
42:29Like, not that taking Monday off from work is ideal for everybody, but it is a holiday, a Jewish holiday, I believe, on Monday.
42:35I believe it's Yom Kippur. Yes. So, I know my kids are off from school as well.
42:40So, I think there's a chance that Sunday night, you'd have a lot more fans that could get back that this opening means so much to them.
42:47You know what I like about this? This is field thinking about the people.
42:51It's not about the NFL. It's not about us.
42:54It's like, you know what? They're going to open a stadium.
42:57This should be a bigger thing. We should have leaned into this more.
43:00It's a huge, the Bills old stadium. I'm with you.
43:03It was so old, right? I mean, obviously it was, it was time for a change there.
43:07How old, Field? I don't know. Mike's the age guy.
43:10It was like an age show. Mike Evans old?
43:13It was so old. How old, Field? You're so old.
43:15Your stadium is falling apart. I thought you were going to do like a Yo Mama joke right there.
43:20I was thinking about it, but then I just, anyways.
43:23Sorry guys, I apologize for this. Yeah, I want the Bills to open their stadium on Sunday night, not Thursday night.
43:29Yeah, fair enough. Although, let's be honest, it's going to be packed.
43:32It's going to be wild. It's going to be a scene.
43:35It's going to be a great atmosphere. But, if you have a friend, we live in Connecticut.
43:40If you have a friend who lives in Connecticut, taking off two days of work is a material change from potentially zero days off from work.
43:47You're not wrong. Let's talk wide receivers. Zay Flowers.
43:49Would you guys agree that a 46.2% target share is good or no?
43:5346.2? I mean, you know me, I would say unsustainable, but good, right?
43:56Yes. Because before Zay Flowers got hurt, he had a 46.2% target share.
44:00Wow. He had six of the team's 13 targets before exiting.
44:03He had 150 receiving yards in the first half.
44:05That's the most in any half by any player playing with Lamar Jackson as his quarterback.
44:10Sample size is tiny, but if that was the beginning of what we're going to see from this Ravens offense this year,
44:16my God, Zay Flowers is going to absolutely mash.
44:18It was creative. Yep. It was different. It was highlighting his capabilities, giving him opportunities to run after the catch.
44:23He was zigzagging through guys. He looks like, you know, like a frog hopping through traffic, right?
44:28He is unbelievable as Zay Flowers with this ability to make guys miss.
44:32The guy is flat out ridiculous. 46.2%. Sure. It's unsustainable, but for Zay Flowers, if the number hovers around 30% with his
44:38skillset and Lamar and how high octane that offense could be, Zay Flowers could be way higher than where he was coming into the season being drafted.
44:45Yeah. We've always worried about the volume ceiling for pass catchers and a Lamar Jackson led offense, because it's just so oriented
44:51on Lamar adding value with his legs and, you know, the defense is generally good.
44:55Derrick Henry. But right now, if you look at the offensive situation, you're like, okay, Derrick Henry is running the football a ton.
45:01You have Lamar in the backfield, of course, but in terms of the passing game, Zay and question marks.
45:06I mean, Jacoby Lane, they thought they had something there.
45:09He's hurt. He's going to be out probably about a month.
45:12Rashad Bateman, not doing anything. Could be suspended as well.
45:15Yeah. Could be suspended. Mark Andrews isn't old Mark Andrews.
45:18I mean, Isaiah likely. I mean, I know he didn't do a lot consistently in that offense, but he's gone.
45:23I mean, there's really nothing there. So 30% target share for Zay Flowers certainly seems on the table right now.
45:28I love it. If you get 30% from Zay Flowers, he would be hovering around wide receiver 10 each and every week.
45:34Yeah. Or not higher. I would love that. Awesome.
45:37Let's take a few questions from chat before we move on here.
45:40This first one comes from Realtor. No. Realtor and Rick.
45:43Oh, Realtor and Rick. Sorry. You know, I got to, I get nervous ever since I've been fooled that one time guys.
45:49Drake, very, very sneaky. Drake may versus Kyle pits or my homes.
45:52Sorry. Versus Pittsburgh. Sorry. I'll take me versus Pittsburgh or my homes versus Indy.
45:56I will go Drake may versus the Steelers. I know you guys talked about it yesterday.
46:00So I just will offer that. Like the chiefs curb stomped the Broncos.
46:04Major. I trick my homes. So impressive. He's fearless.
46:06He's a threat with his legs. Yes. They were being ultra conservative.
46:09I still want to see the chiefs offense actually test teams down the field.
46:13All right. I'm going home. I'm going home. I'm not afraid of the Colts defense.
46:17My homes is there at home again. Right. Yeah.
46:20They're at home again against the Colts football. Oh yeah.
46:22You just said that. Yeah. So I'm going to go with him over may and a tough matchup and he's another one.
46:28We're going to, we'll get to this. I mean, we've, we have quarterbacks with tough matchups again.
46:33Joe Burrow's another conversation. Yeah. We'll talk about him going up against there going into Houston.
46:37We know what happened against Allen. I would take Drake, Drake, may, may.
46:41You're going may as well. All right. I'm going, I'm going, I'm on an Island here.
46:45Next one. We have, this one comes from Aaron Reynolds.
46:48Do you think stripling or gain? Well are droppable now, given what's been.
46:52I have a pretty strong feeling on this one.
46:54I think stripling, if you don't want to put them on IR is absolutely droppable.
46:58You don't have an IR. You know, I think even when he comes back, it might be a while at Debo kind of looking, looking good.
47:05And also George Kittle's ready to roll. Mike Evans.
47:08I mean, there's a lot of guys there. And game lights, I'd hold on to.
47:12I mean, if you're in a shallower league, maybe, but I would hold tight.
47:15I think that he'll find his way to relevance.
47:18I agree there. That money speaks to me from this off season, two years, $14 million for Kenny G.
47:23A reminder. And I don't know. Stripling has not been placed on IR, but if he is a reminder, because sometimes the
47:29fact that you have to miss four games creates the impression that a player is going to miss four games.
47:34Right. Miles Garrett. This is a good case because Sean McVay was like, I don't have a timeline on Miles Garrett.
47:40It's going to be at least four games before he returns.
47:43Not that he matters in fantasy, but a high profile name to kind of make this point.
47:48So Stripling, I think the reporting was around a month for this ankle injury, but it's an ankle for a wide receiver.
47:54They're cooking through one game after, you know, with the veterans.
47:57So yeah, we'll keep an eye on him. George Kittle will ascend over the next month.
48:01Yeah. And I think Stripling maybe around mid-season, maybe starts to become a guy that gets back to fantasy relevance.
48:06We'll kind of see how things go with like Evans and Debo again.
48:10It is an older offense, but he's a guy that still could be a league winner, but it's just not anytime soon.
48:16I could see him making noise still at some point this season.
48:19The question is like you guys had just said, do you need to keep someone else on IR over him?
48:25Or if you already have someone on IR, are you willing to just, you know, burn a bench spot?
48:30How desperate are you to make that move? Right.
48:32Like if it's... But that doesn't mean he won't have potential value at some point later on the season.
48:37I just don't think you can hold onto it.
48:40I totally understand dropping. All right. A couple more questions here.
48:43Red Pants Brigade says, y'all got to get three Dragon Brothers.
48:46Stop and Clay get the normal Dragons and Field gets the derpy one.
48:49Yes! That's hilarious. I love it. That's that one meme.
48:52Oh God. I'm in on that. Tommy Parker says, I want Mike Clay to know that my team, he gave a D
48:58grade, scored 204.4 points and a half point PPR.
49:0112 team league. Stand on business. I feel so bad for Mike in this regard.
49:05Yeah. I don't know. Mike does not give the grade.
49:07I don't even know how they calculate them to be completely honest, but it's only week one.
49:12Hey, there you go. We'll see. You know, I don't, I don't want to, you know, we don't pat ourselves on the
49:18back after week one either way, because there's a long way to go.
49:21Things could flip in a hurry. That's fair. Notice I've been very quiet about the Chargers offense struggling.
49:26We'll see. We'll let it go. All right. Let's talk about some tight ends.
49:30My friend tight ends here in week two, top 10 for the, uh, for week two here.
49:35Trey McBride, obviously tight end one Colston Loveland in spite of scoring zero points in week one, still tight end two here.
49:41Tyler Warren tight end three, Sam Laporta and Brock Bowers.
49:43Bowers at five because there is an uncertainty around the injury.
49:46I think some people do not have him ranked.
49:49Is that what it is? Yeah, that's why it's a weighted average and he is not ranked by at least one person.
49:55So, okay. Got it. That would do that. When you get a not ranked, you basically get a zero in your score.
50:01Like you get, you know, 26 is your calculated average.
50:04Gotcha. One through 25. Dallas Goddard at tight end six, Isaiah Likely, Tucker Craft, Travis Kelsey, and then Kyle Pitts.
50:09Also two tight ends that scored zero points in week one are inside our top 10 here for week two.
50:14I think that's more of a reflection of how bad the position is than anything else.
50:19Yeah, we will. Yeah, we'll keep an eye on the Falcons based on who the quarterback is right now.
50:24It assumes Penix, but I'm like, as we talked about yesterday, Daniel, like a little more pessimistic than I was a couple
50:30of days ago that it'll be him, but we'll see.
50:33When you say it assumes, are you talking about the projections?
50:36Clay I, yes. Teald, come on. Sorry. There, baby.
50:38Clay I has Penix in there for now, but again, it's just so much uncertainty right now.
50:43All right, go ahead. Why don't you give us a tight end mic that you want to talk about?
50:48Yeah. Tucker Craft, I think is an interesting one.
50:50He's been playing 66% of the snaps, and he said a couple weeks ago he'll be limited for the first half of the season.
50:57Then leading into the game, he said he won't be limited.
51:00He was limited. He was limited. He's played at 87% of the snaps over the last two seasons.
51:05He was at 66 in this game. He's run his route participation 73% the last two seasons.
51:09He was at 46% in this game. Now, he did have a handful of long catches, but he only had six targets,
51:15three catches in the game for 65 yards, only a 15% target share.
51:19Again, you would expect him to be hopefully closer to 19% to 21% if he's going to sustain tight end one.
51:25Yeah, certainly that helps for sure, but I think it's a point in the right direction at least.
51:29At least he was making explosive plays. That was my concern coming off the ACL, so that's enough for me to put him back into the top 10.
51:37So on the back end, I'm still worried about some bus games short term.
51:41Remember I told you last year, he generally hung around five or six targets per game.
51:45He just had those inflated numbers and really good matchups down the stretch last year, which really boosted his efficiency and his numbers.
51:51So again, we're getting there with Kraft, but I'm not overreacting just yet for now.
51:55Kind of a fringe back end tight end one.
51:58I'm in on any of the pass catchers right now because I feel like that running game in Green Bay is just atrocious.
52:04I am a little surprised. There is a lot of anger right now in Green Bay.
52:09Yeah. People want to burn the place down. People aren't happy.
52:12They are not happy. Not happy. And I understand there was some question about whether Matt LaFleur would be retained this offseason.
52:17There seemed to be a moment there where it wasn't clear, but he was extended and there are already people that are like, our coach is the problem.
52:25We got a, sometimes on, I'll see polls on Twitter and I'll, I will vote just to see what the masses are saying.
52:31Right. And there was one where it was like, who's most to blame for the chargers.
52:36And I think it was like the coach, like Matt LaFleur, the running game.
52:39Or other. If there's an other, I always vote other just so I don't feel bad.
52:44Uh, and it was like heavily in favor of Matt LaFleur being the biggest problem.
52:48Anyway, that's an aside. I'm just surprised by how much anxiety there is right now in Green Bay.
52:53That's wild. That's wild. I feel like he's one of the coaches that gets a lot out of his team.
52:58So that's kind of surprising to hear. So, and again, it's week one.
53:02Six straight games going back to last season, which is crazy.
53:05Yeah, that's not great. That is, that is definitely wild.
53:07Got a lot of angst there. Not a lot of angst in New York right now.
53:12Isaiah likely smashed. Likely not. Yeah. The dude was unbelievable.
53:15Eight for 78 on eight targets. Plus he had two toddies for 27.8 fantasy points.
53:19We've seen him do this before, actually in week one before.
53:22And then specifically disappear for the rest of the season.
53:24Differences. I do believe this is more sustainable. Not 27.8, but his tight end one sustainability is more sustainable now that he
53:30is in this offense free of Mark Andrews. He clearly looked like the number two pass catcher here.
53:35Him and Jackson Dart looked great. Again, not expecting two touchdowns every week, but if even if he's getting eight targets of
53:41game seven, eight targets, he's going to get enough volume to be a tight end one for us.
53:46Isaiah likely inside my top five at the position here in week two.
53:50Yeah. Yeah. I just feel pretty good about his situation.
53:52Should be the number two target. Yep. Yeah. I think he's the guy I was after week one.
53:57I was like, God, I should have been higher on him.
54:00Yeah. I was kicking myself a little bit. You are so high, but not high enough.
54:05Last one for me is Sam Laporta. Snap share of 81%, which was eighth best amongst tight ends in week one.
54:10That's good. Yep. Eight targets, also good. More than anything, and we'll talk about this game as I'll save some of this.
54:16What's the over-under in this game? High. Hot a lot.
54:19It's a lot, right? Oh, yeah. Tomorrow night. Yes, definitely.
54:22So we want as much of the Lions and the Bills game that we can get, which means it will be a 13 to 10.
54:28Pitcher's duel? No, we got that nonsense out of the way in week one.
54:32Yeah, that's true. What's the over-under, Daniel? The over-under right now looks like I am not.
54:3754 and a half. 54 and a half. I believe the week one high was 50 and a half.
54:42So 54 and a half, and I'm going to guess the Bills are probably what?
54:46Four and a half point favorites here? Five and a half point favorites.
54:49Five and a half point favorites. I asked our, and we'll do this tomorrow, like I said, but I asked our production
54:55team to put together a quick graphic of what it looked like the last time these two teams played.
55:00In case you don't remember, we will talk about it tomorrow.
55:03We'll save that. Thermo-nuclear Josh Allen. It was a fun game.
55:06Yes, so Sam Laporta, a guy that I was encouraged by the 81% for him, more so than a typical tight end
55:12just because of the back injury and the hip injury that lingered during the preseason.
55:17Let's do a couple of bonus guys here. We were still in, even though we lowered him a little bit on week
55:22one on Josh Allen taking on the Texans. Mike, how much are you lowering Joe Burrow because of the Texans this week?
55:28Seems like we are consensus-wise, too. I'm a QB 14, and maybe we can expand on this when we do our matchup
55:34for this game on Thursday or Friday, but yeah, look, Burrow week one was fine.
55:3925 of 35, 254 yards, a touchdown, a pick, had 20 rushing yards, but that was against the Buccaneers.
55:44Now he goes to Houston, and look, I know Houston got crushed by Josh Allen, but again, this is still an elite defense on paper.
55:50No quarterback even got to 21 against them all of last season.
55:54I think it's kind of a fluke. It happens sometimes for great defenses.
55:57I worry about Burrow not being able to just make up the ground with the high-variance play, so for me, I'm going
56:03to, you know, I'm a little hesitant on Burrow this week.
56:06I would prefer to stream. Yeah, you can't. This is totally unfair to Josh Allen, but if you're making the case why
56:12the Texans defense is better than it looked like in week one, Josh had a 20-yard touchdown run when, for some reason,
56:18Houston went cover zero in the red zone, which allowed Josh to run, right?
56:22There was another rushing touchdown, which Joe is far less likely than Josh to run for a touchdown.
56:27Yes. And last, and I know Mike kind of referenced this earlier with DJ Moore, there is this play where it's like
56:33DJ Moore makes a catch, I don't know, what, 15 yards down the sideline, and then next thing you know, he pirouettes,
56:39and there's nobody within 40 yards of him. And the defender was this close from tipping it away.
56:44Also, actually, Bill's PR calling in, and they want to have a quick conversation, guys, about the disrespect for Josh Allen.
56:49How about the late touchdown where he threw it to Kwame Lasseter, right like this, like me to you.
56:55Right in his hands. And Lasseter drops it, and they score in the next play.
56:59Like, everything went their way. Yeah, there are points that I make of this, and some of the things that went in
57:05the favor of Josh Allen, Joe is far less likely to execute himself.
57:08We all agree. But we'll keep it in the Buffalo vein is, I wanted to make Dalton Kincaid a top 10 tight
57:14end this week, or at least close to it.
57:17Me too. Because he played great in week one.
57:1977% target share. Sorry, snap share for Dalton Kincaid.
57:21He was hurt last year. 55% was a mark he never met in 2025.
57:25So the fact that he was at 77% in week one, a sign of how healthy he is compared to where he's been in prior years.
57:32He had three catches, 35 yards or more. Not expecting that every week, given the fact that he's had two of those in his entire career.
57:39But there were three 35-plus yard catches by every other tight end in the league, hilariously.
57:44Of course, one of them was Travis Kelsey. When the seas parted on Monday night, he had that big 50-yarder.
57:49But I think that Dalton Kincaid maybe, finally, possibly can reach that post-hype potential.
57:53Yeah, you almost said word for word what the playbook write-up is going to be for me about this game.
57:58Dalton Kincaid, I'm optimistic. In fact, I added him in our FFC league on waivers.
58:02I was surprised I got him. I thought there'd be a little more optimism.
58:06I couldn't decide on him or Debo to prioritize.
58:09I have a good tight end. I can't remember who it is off the top of my head.
58:14But Tyler Warren. I have Tyler Warren. But I had to get Kincaid.
58:17I feel like the playing time is a huge change from last year.
58:21That could unlock him. This is a former first-round pick, and he's flashed at times.
58:25It's just never been consistent. If he keeps playing that much and is healthy, you know, the ceiling is so high.
58:30So make sure if he's still available in your league to get him.
58:34All right, let's rank. Oh, no, you have one.
58:36One more. Mike Evans. I think this might be the player that I have, because of what has happened, changed my mind on the most after week one.
58:44Mike Evans, I think, is going to now, especially with DeJuan Stribling being out for a month.
58:49And what he did in week one against the Rams.
58:51Six for 49 and a touchdown on seven targets.
58:5416.9 fantasy points. I have him as a low-end wide receiver, too.
58:57I am cranking it up. Yep, we are in on Mike Evans.
59:00Turning back the clock is what I'm doing. Oh, that's what you're doing?
59:04I thought we were cranking up Mike Evans. We could also crank up Mike Evans.
59:08Or you turn him back the clock. I guess it depends on which way you twist it.
59:13Counterclockwise. We're turning it back. Cranking it up. Turning it counter.
59:16For now. I'm with you in the short term.
59:18In the short term. He has, because I was looking at him more as a wide receiver four.
59:23Wide receiver, low-end wide receiver three. High-end wide receiver four.
59:26But now with this situation and the way he looked, especially this week against Miami, guys.
59:30Like, he's going to crush here. And he gets Arizona next week.
59:33Two really good games in a row for Mike Evans.
59:36All right. Let's rank a couple of stupid things, guys.
59:39This is our ranking show. We have to rank something random, too.
59:42We're going to bring together our top sports movies.
59:44And we would love to know in chat, what are your favorite top sports movies?
59:48And we want to know what you guys think about our list.
59:52That's key, right? You know, the Emmys we're just on.
59:54There's award shows. That's right. They're like the most people studying.
59:57It's not like the objectively best. It's our favorite, right?
60:00That's right. It's our favorite sports movies. That's how I look.
60:03I don't know if you guys agree with this, but last week, like, if you guys proposed one of the names or
60:09one of the places to have a bad emergency bathroom situation, I was going to pivot.
60:13Okay. Like, my favorite movies are my favorite movies.
60:16So if we happen to share a pick, like, that's fine by me.
60:19Like, I will gladly share a pick with you guys.
60:22By the way, this was hard. This was hard to cut down.
60:25Yeah. How many did you do? Three? You did three?
60:28I did top three, but I have probably. I cut it down to like eight.
60:32Okay. I wish I had a list, but. I have one honorable mention.
60:36Can we give an honorable mention if everyone has one?
60:38Sure, if you want to. Yeah, go for it.
60:41Yeah. My honorable mention is the only football movie that's on the list for me.
60:45Wow. And that's Rudy. Oh, I have Rudy on my honorable mention list.
60:48Yeah. Good movie. Come on, Rudy's the classic. Seriously.
60:51Field. Not the best football movie of all time.
60:53Okay. All right. Well, why don't we start with you?
60:56Number three on your list. Oh, number three. Okay.
60:59Three is a curveball here. Almost. It's a hardball.
61:01Do you guys remember that movie with Keanu Reeves?
61:03I don't know this one. You got to see it.
61:06It's really good. Hardball. It's emotional. G-Baby. Keanu Reeves, like, takes over a youth sports team in a city.
61:11It's like, it's got all the emotions here. Okay.
61:14There's like some tragedy involved. Keanu Reeves is amazing.
61:16Great movie. Hardball. Mike, you got to go watch this.
61:19All right. All right. We can watch it. We all love, yeah.
61:22I don't want to. Off-season view. I don't want to give too much away about the movie, but hardball.
61:27Okay. Got it. G-Baby. There's a great, great soundtrack with it as well.
61:31Awesome movie. Keanu Reeves, who's like one of my favorite actors and one of the coolest people alive.
61:36Hardball. Number three for me. Mike, who's your number three?
61:38This was a close. Number three was close. Close one and two pretty much stood out, but I ended up going with
61:44one that I just remember from childhood that I still like.
61:47Rookie of the year. Oh, good one. Rookie of the year.
61:50I just love that one. I don't know. There's something about just like the injury.
61:54Funky butt loving. Yes, exactly. So many good one-liners.
61:57The storyline is amazing. Like, I just, I love that movie.
62:00It's one that reminds me of childhood. I love it.
62:03My number three also reminds me of childhood, and it has the best sports montage in the history of all sports montages.
62:09It is Rocky IV. Oh, okay. Taking on the Russian going on against Yvon Drago.
62:13Yeah. In the height of the Cold War, it was a very fun one.
62:16Rocky IV is my number four one. I just, I realize boxing isn't even a sport that I enjoy, but that counts as a sports movie.
62:24Yeah, of course it does. Yeah. And you could have chose, you could have picked any of the Rockies.
62:29I could have picked any of them, but I almost felt obligated, but I had to be true, like with whatever.
62:34Yeah. So I didn't go Rocky in my top list.
62:37No, no. Right. Guessing my final two will come up on either of your lists.
62:41All right. Number two, remember the Titans. Okay. Amazing movie.
62:44Yeah. Great one. Football themed, obviously. RIP Hayden Pennantier.
62:46Really sad. Yeah. Yeah. Very sad. But just awesome.
62:49Great movie. Great TV show. Actually, not a great TV show.
62:52There's like a, I remember like a documentary on it, but there's a great movie.
62:56I'll tell you that much. Yeah. All time great movie.
62:59That's a good movie. That's a good movie. My next.
63:01Your next. Mine is, come on, Sandlot. Oh, nice.
63:04I was thinking about the Sandlot. Sandlot's good. Sandlot, speaking of like that July 4th scene.
63:08Yeah. Like, ah, there's just so much. That's a great one.
63:11You know. What's the, Wendy, what's her last name?
63:14Peppercorn? Wendy Peppercorn. Peppercorn. Peppercorn. Yeah. Oh yeah. Childhood crush for sure.
63:17Definitely. All right. My number two, number two for me, another baseball movie.
63:20Oh. How can you not get romantic about baseball guys?
63:23Build the Dreams? It's Moneyball. Oh, Moneyball. It's Moneyball.
63:25That was on my long list. Moneyball is so good.
63:28I actually think this might be my favorite Jonah Hill movie too.
63:31He does such a great job. He is so good.
63:34Him and Brad Pitt both are unbelievable. It's a really fun movie.
63:37Wow. I'm surprised you had Moneyball in there, but I thought about it.
63:41I love it. I just think it's a really fun movie.
63:44Good memes. Yeah. Funny. Not even funny. No, there's some good one-liners in there.
63:48Yeah. There's some good ones. Obviously, more serious than funny.
63:50Yeah. Number one, Miracle. Duh. Miracle. Do you guys have an American spirit or no?
63:55Wow. That's okay. Miracle's amazing. If I want to get fired up about something in life, I just go watch Miracle.
64:00Or just go watch any of the scenes. Okay.
64:03Miracle's awesome. Yeah. All right. I like that. I like that.
64:06None of Fields' movies made my list. I was convinced that these were going to be.
64:10Yeah. I thought Miracle and Remember the Titans were layups.
64:13I knew my number one would not make either of your lists.
64:16Anyone that knows me well knows where I'm going with this.
64:19Days of Thunder. Days of Thunder. Of course. Days of Thunder 2 coming out soon.
64:23What? Really? Yeah. Announced it at Daytona. Field. You've seen Days of Thunder, right?
64:27Yes. But I didn't know there was Days of Thunder 2 coming out.
64:30Yeah. Announced it pretty recently. This one is for a lot of reasons.
64:34I don't think people know the extent of my relationship with Days of Thunder.
64:38Yeah. Yeah. 21 straight years we went to the Coca-Cola 600 and that's the home of Hendrick Motorsports and of NASCAR and
64:44where the movie was and where City Chevrolet the dealership is.
64:47And we've kind of made it our thing. Like we always visit the barn from the movie.
64:51We've gone to the original City Chevrolet dealership and like we have all this merchandise.
64:55I have wood from the original barn from the movie.
64:58We have every. We've met Rick Hendrick and held the movie.
65:01We used to take City Chevrolet stuff to the Hendrick Museum and leave it there and stuff.
65:06It just became like people knew us. That's awesome.
65:08So that movie really close to my family. It's always been kind of this bit we do every year.
65:13Who's in it? Who's in Days of Thunder 2?
65:16Who's going to be acting in it? It is.
65:18Tom Cruise is coming back. It's facing on the actress.
65:21It's someone very famous. Anne Hathaway. Anne Hathaway. Yeah.
65:23There it is. I'm sure there'll be many cameos.
65:26We lost Robert Duvall unfortunately this year as well so he won't be involved.
65:30But yeah. Nicole Kim and I don't think we'll be in this one.
65:33I don't think so either. Every time I see Mike on the road whenever we are driving by each other he always
65:39comes up and hits me just a little bit and then drives past me and just yells out, Robin's racing Daniel!
65:45That's always how it works. What do you got Daniel?
65:48My last one is the best sports movie of all time.
65:51In your opinion. And it is the movie Rounders.
65:53Oh. Yes. Okay. Kind of a little bit of a like we think it's sports.
65:57Sports. We show it on our air. Poker is a sport.
66:00Fair fair. Absolutely. I'm teaching my kids that game.
66:02A hundred percent. There's a skill involved with it.
66:05Just running them off the table. Unbelievable cast in that movie.
66:08I mean amazing. It's so good. Poker is a sport.
66:11If anyone has a problem with poker being a sport, tweet at me.
66:14Mike Clay NFL. I disagree with you. Our people will be mad about racing being called a sport than poker.
66:20I think. Just based on my life. Hanging around.
66:22By the way, quick ones I have to mention.
66:24These Mighty Ducks. Talladega Knights. Yes. Gold Durham. That was the rest of my other ones.
66:29A couple of look. We got some in our chat we want to give some homage to as well really quickly before we get out of here.
66:36From chat. These are some of their favorite sports movies.
66:39Great one. Yeah. Dodgeball has to be one there.
66:41Dodge. Slap shot. Absolutely. That's an old one. We got some love for hockey.
66:45Yeah. Radio. Oh, Cuba Gooding Jr. Right? Okay. Yes.
66:48Of course. Mighty Ducks. Bad News Bears. Of course.
66:50That's always a good one. Always love Bad News Bears.
66:53Happy Gilmore. We didn't even mention Happy Gilmore. Yeah.
66:55You guys watch The Hawk? The new show? That was Bill Murray.
66:58All time G. Little Giants. Little Giants. Yeah. I thought about that one.
67:02Nice box. Love that. Oh, Waterboy. Waterboy. Today Jr.
67:04Yeah. A couple of good. Adam Sandler is good with sports movies actually.
67:08I did some high quality. What was the NBA movie that he did?
67:11It was called Uncut Gems. Uncut Gems. Oh, yes.
67:14That's right. That movie was wild. Kevin Goernay and Anthony Edwards were amazing actors.
67:18Anyway, Will Ferrell just does every sport. Yes, he does.
67:20He's covered like every single sport. You could just do a blanket over.
67:24I really enjoyed the Hawk. What was the figure skating one that he did?
67:28Blaze of Glory. Blaze of Glory. There's the basketball one.
67:30I think it was the NBA. Oh, yeah. Lucky Moon.
67:33Yeah. It's called? The Flint Tropics. Semi-Pro. Semi-Pro. Yes.
67:36Tropic. Yeah. Oh, yes. Tropic Thunder was a different one.
67:38Ben Stiller. Kevin Downey Jr. There's so many good sports movies.
67:41So many good comedies. Thanks for hanging out with us, guys.
67:44This was a ton of fun. We will be back tomorrow to preview Thursday Night Football and dive into part one of
67:50our week two preview for Field and Mike. My name is Daniel.
67:54We love you guys. Don't forget to love each other.
67:56Be kind to yourself. You deserve it. We will see you on Thursday.
