Player insights

23

Colston Loveland

PositiveRole20:00

Loveland ranks second on the Bears in routes run and has the most end-zone targets on the squad. Ben Johnson is making a concerted effort to get him the ball, indicating he will see increased involvement despite early-season struggles.

Insight page

Darren Waller

PositiveUsage11:20

Waller led the team with 8 targets last week and his snap share has increased every week: 34%, 43%, 49%. He already has multiple end-zone targets this season—only Jawan Johnson, Trey McBride, and Sam Laporta have more. Facing the Lions, who have allowed five different tight ends to hit 13+ fantasy points and given up touchdowns to six different tight ends, Waller is firmly on the streaming radar.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

NegativeRole22:32

Derrick Henry is part of the Ravens' condensed fantasy offense alongside Zay Flowers and Lamar Jackson; the source notes there are not many other pass catchers in the Ravens system, making Henry and Flowers the primary fantasy contributors for the team.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveRole18:10

Drake London had a quarterback change and bounced back a little bit in Week 3, showing signs of recovery after a slow start to the season.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

NegativeRole13:10

Likely's fantasy points have declined sharply: 26 points in Week 1, 8.3 in Week 2, 3.3 in Week 3. However, his snap share is trending positively: 49% Week 1, 69% Week 2, 84% Week 3. The source attributes the decline to offensive coordinator Matt Nagy's scheme limitations outside of predictable situations rather than Likely's talent. Ranked inside the top 10 tight ends for Week 4 vs. Arizona, with an expected floor of around 8 points.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection8:25

Hurts' rushing production has regressed this season, and the source notes he no longer belongs in the top-tier QB1 conversation. While expected to see regression in rushing, that production hasn't materialized as anticipated, and the overall offensive efficiency has declined. The source suggests Hurts is no longer a high-end QB1.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection6:20

Goff is QB7 in fantasy points per game, averaging nearly 22 points. He is the only quarterback over the past three seasons to open the year with three straight games of 25+ completions and 2+ passing touchdowns. He has more touchdowns (7) than incompletions (5) in the red zone this season. Facing the Panthers, who gave up two touchdowns to Deshaun Watson, the source ranks Goff as a low-end QB1 in the QB10-QB12 range for Week 4.

Insight page
PositiveProjection26:42

Jared Goff is described as a pleasant surprise for fantasy investors, particularly in contrast to Trevor Lawrence; the source frames Goff as a refuge for those disappointed by other quarterback investments.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection17:10

Herbert is mentioned as a quarterback who has 'flat out stunk' this season. The source recommends streaming alternatives like Kyler Murray or Marcus Mariota instead of playing Herbert in Week 4.

Insight page
NegativeProjection25:19

Justin Herbert generated lineup frustration and upset among fantasy players at a Lions bar during week four, with multiple people asking for lineup advice regarding him; the source notes he was a source of regret for fantasy investors.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

NegativeValue20:50

Among flex options including Romeo Dobbs, Brenton Strange, and Kyle Menungai, Shakir is preferred because he is attached to the better quarterback and healthier offense, though the source would not recommend starting him if better options are available.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

NegativeMatchup16:10

While Cousins has been uncharacteristically good, scoring touchdowns week after week, the source does not like this matchup against Kansas City. The Chiefs defense has allowed just two passing scores and the third-fewest passing yards this season. The source expects Cousins' production to regress this week.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveValue17:10

The source recommends Kyler Murray as a streaming option for Week 4, noting he is rostered in about 60% of leagues, making him a viable alternative to Kirk Cousins or Justin Herbert.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeRole22:32

Lamar Jackson is part of the Ravens' condensed fantasy offense alongside Zay Flowers and Derrick Henry; the source notes there are not many other pass catchers in the Ravens system, making Jackson, Henry, and Flowers the primary fantasy contributors for the team.

Insight page

Marcus Mariota

PositiveValue17:10

The source recommends Marcus Mariota as a streaming option for Week 4, noting he is available in approximately 80% of leagues, making him an accessible alternative for those seeking a waiver-wire quarterback.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveUsage4:55

Wilson received 17 targets last week—three more than any player has had in a single game this season. Since Week 11 of last season, he has averaged 10.8 targets per game and over 19 fantasy points per game, while Marvin Harrison Jr. managed just 20 targets over that span. The source ranks Wilson as a top-25 play, particularly against a banged-up Giants secondary, noting he is now the primary wide receiver in the Cardinals offense.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeUsage19:10

Judkins is a volume play, currently ranking as RB17 in rush attempts through three games. The source notes he was expected to be a volume-based contributor.

Insight page
NegativeProjection25:19

Quinchon Judkins generated lineup frustration and upset among fantasy players at a Lions bar during week four, with multiple people asking for lineup advice regarding him; the source notes he was a source of regret for fantasy investors.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeProjection9:30

Barkley has not topped 9 fantasy points in either of his two healthy games this season. He has not exceeded 15 carries in either game and has only one catch across both healthy games. The source attributes this to game script—the Eagles are not closing games decisively—and notes Barkley is now touchdown-dependent, similar to David Montgomery. Facing the Rams, who have allowed zero touchdowns to running backs this season, Barkley is ranked as a mid-to-low RB2 (RB16) for Week 4.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection1:46

Lawrence has averaged over 17 fantasy points per game through three games, thrown seven touchdowns, and is managing a career-high completion percentage of 67% with a career-low off-target rate of just 9%. Facing a vulnerable Bengals defense that averages 287 passing yards per game gifted to opposing quarterbacks, the source ranks him inside the top 10 fantasy quarterbacks for Week 4.

Insight page
NegativeProjection26:42

Trevor Lawrence is referenced as not being the prince that was promised, implying he has underperformed fantasy expectations; the source uses him as a contrast to Jared Goff's pleasant surprise performance.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveRole21:59

Zay Flowers is the Ravens' undisputed number one receiver and has been electric; he managed five catches and cleared 80 receiving yards on limited snap count in week three despite weird turf conditions, and head coach Jesse Minter confirmed he will be a full go in week four. The source argues against selling high, noting Flowers is already a wide receiver one for fantasy purposes and is the team's primary pass-catcher in a condensed offense alongside Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson, making him a hold rather than a trade candidate.

Insight page
PositiveProjection23:00

Flowers is already a wide receiver one for fantasy purposes. In Week 3, he managed five catches and cleared 80 receiving yards on weird turf conditions and on a limited snap count. Head coach Jesse Minter has said he will be a full go in Week 4, suggesting increased volume and production ahead.

0:00Hockey on ESPN is blowing up. Hockey is back.
0:03So, what does it look like now? The kids?
0:06Hughes, Celebrini, Schaefer, that's hockey. Ovi and Crosby, that's hockey.
0:09And with access to over a thousand out-of-market games, you can watch them and the rest of the league.
0:16Holy hockey! That's more hockey to love for more fans who love it.
0:20The NHL's best on ESPN. Watch all season long on ABC, ESPN, ESPN Plus, and the ESPN app.
0:26A solid wide receiver, too. I was predicting a JSN-like year three breakout and womp womp on me, womp womp on the entire Chargers organization.
0:34Hey, I'm Liz Loza. This is Facts vs. Feelings.
0:37And today's fact is that while misery does love company, company often eases misery.
0:42Hey, Daniel Dopp. I love to see your face, but I'm so bummed that we're not in the same room right now.
0:49Yeah, me too. I love seeing your face as well, Liz Loza.
0:53But soon, I will see you. You'll be back here.
0:56We'll be doing more shows together, so I'm not worried about that.
1:00Yes, very soon. But I miss you right now.
1:03I miss you right now, too. But also, right now, I'm in the business of misery, so let's take it from the top, Liz Loza.
1:12Trevor Lawrence did me dirty this last week. As a fantasy manager who rosters him and started him, there was one specific
1:19play that really sticks in my craw right now, if you know what I'm saying.
1:24Yeah, that kneel down at the one yard line with eight minutes left in the game.
1:29By the way, I don't know if this will make you feel any better, but had he actually plunged over the goal
1:37line and scored that touchdown, then his fantasy points per game average would be 19.3, which is very close to the career-high
1:4419.9 fantasy points per game that he managed in 2025.
1:47Did that work? Was that a balm for your soul at all?
1:51Uh, no. What could have and should have been did not make me feel better, Liz.
1:56No. But what about here in Week 4? I mean, are we thinking that something could have or should have been better here in Week 4 for him?
2:06Well, you know, we have to find silver linings, right?
2:09And obviously, the quarterback position has been decimated. Trevor Lawrence, while not necessarily the prince that was promised, can be a solid
2:16stream in Week 4, facing a vulnerable Bengals defense.
2:19He has averaged over 17 fantasy points per game.
2:22He's thrown seven touchdowns in three games. He's managing a career-high completion percentage of 67%.
2:27And I like this part even more, a career-low off-target rate of just 9%.
2:32Mentioned the Bengals defense. Yeah, they've gotten a little bit better, but they are also averaging 287 passing yards per game gifted to opposing quarterbacks.
2:40I have Lawrence ranked inside my top 10 fantasy players in the position for Week 4.
2:46I am with you on that this week and hoping that things continue in that direction with these pass catchers.
2:52A pass catcher I'm not really excited about the direction they're going, Ladd McConkie.
2:57Pretty sure that's his middle name. My buddy Mike calls him Bad McDonkey.
3:01He's not been good so far to start the season.
3:05The entire Chargers offense hasn't been good. But he was one of the guys that we were definitely counting on to be
3:12a steady wide receiver too, at least, in our offense as a fantasy manager.
3:16Now, who draws the Seattle Seahawks this week, Liz?
3:19What are we doing here? I mean, a solid wide receiver too.
3:23I was predicting a JSN-like year three breakout and womp-womp on me.
3:27Womp-womp on the entire Chargers organization. Ladd-freaking-McConkie, to quote you, has a total of 15 targets this season.
3:33And he's the wide receiver 45 in looks drawn.
3:36Now, I know there was a rib injury in there as well.
3:40But the fact of the matter is, like, what makes him so frustrating is that when you look at the strong-armed Justin
3:48Herbert and the sure-handed Ladd-McConkie and the opportunities in which they've been able to connect, there has been flashes of what could be, right?
3:56Like, right now, Ladd-McConkie is managing an ADOT of 13 and a catch rate of 80%.
4:01Those two things in tandem, however, are not sustainable because over the past 10 seasons, no wide receiver with a catch rate
4:08of 75% or more has managed an ADOT of 13.6 or more.
4:12So until this offense settles into Mike McDaniel's scheme or until Mike McDaniel better schemes Ladd for these intermediate routes and grabs
4:20for which he has been known for, that he's so good at until the intermediate passing game starts to click.
4:26And we see McConkie being used, honestly, more regularly or, like, as more of a floor play instead of this constant YOLO s**t.
4:34Then, excuse me. Then I think we can, like, have some consistency.
4:38But I don't know when that's going to happen.
4:41I don't think you can drop him, though, because the talent is there.
4:45The potential is there. And that's evident. I do think, however, and given this matchup at Seattle, it's easy to bench him.
4:52I have him ranked as my wide receiver 30.
4:55So I'm not even really that interested in flexing him unless I have to.
5:00I am with you. And I don't mind if I have to flex him because I drafted him to be that wide receiver.
5:08If I don't have someone on my bench, he's probably going to be the best or most skilled guy that could deliver me fantasy points.
5:16However, like you just said, if I've got someone that's gone off, then I do not mind benching him and throwing someone else in there.
5:24You said he's got 15 targets so far this season.
5:28Is that what you said, Liz? Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
5:31Over three games. Let's talk about Michael Wilson, who I believe had 17 targets last week alone, Liz Loza.
5:37Like, this is the kind of guy that I would be benching Ladd McConkie for.
5:42Yeah. You know, the Maserati morphed into a minivan and Michael Wilson moved into the driver's seat.
5:47The volume has been insane. Targets last week were three more than any player has had in a single game this season.
5:55Also, maybe we should have been less stubborn about this actually happening because Wilson has averaged 10.8 targets per game and over
6:0219 fantasy points as a result per game since week 11.
6:06Over that span of time, though, Marvin Harrison Jr.
6:09has managed just 20 targets. Just 20. So the promotion is real.
6:13I don't need to see anything more. Wilson, to me, is a top 25 play, particularly against a banged-up Giants secondary.
6:20Yeah, I am with you 100% on that. They paid this guy a bunch of money for a reason.
6:26And now it feels like he is going to be the wide receiver one as they have moved on essentially from Marvin Harrison Jr.
6:34But hey, before you guys move on, please do us a favor.
6:38Don't forget to like and subscribe to this video.
6:41It helps us a ton. It helps other people be able to find it.
6:46It means a lot to us. And make sure that you call us and leave us a voicemail.
6:51The voicemail line is open. 323-391-4855. Leave us your Instagram handle when you do so we can give you a shout out
6:59to let you know you made the show. What?
7:02Bro, what are you talking about, man? Liz Loza, nobody is more perennially confused at this network than I am.
7:08So we decided to lean into it. And we made a segment called Make It Make Sense.
7:14Because we're three weeks into the football season. And this last week in week three, Case Keenum was a top five fantasy quarterback.
7:22I don't understand what's happening in this game that we play, Liz.
7:26I got a bunch of things that I got questions about.
7:29I'm hoping you brought a bunch of things to the table.
7:33Maybe we can just do a little therapy session back and forth with each other.
7:38How does that sound? Well, I love the way you position this because sometimes surprises are happy.
7:44And I do think Jared Goff has been one of those.
7:47I did not anticipate over the summer where we were talking on and on about how deep the quarterback position was.
7:54Though we did often suggest people draft too. That Jared Goff would be the QB7 in fantasy points per game, averaging nearly 22.
8:02And now Jared Goff, given the injuries to the position and the fact that Drake May and Justin Herbert have both flat
8:09out stunk, is in a streaming position. You should like this as a Lions fan because Jared Goff is the only quarterback
8:16over the past three seasons to open the year with three straight games of 25 completions and two or more passing touchdowns.
8:24He also has more touchdowns, seven, than in completions, five, in the red zone this season.
8:29And he has a plum matchup against the Panthers who gave up two touchdowns to Deshaun Watson.
8:35Make that make sense. So I think that you can consider Jared Goff a low-end QB1 for fantasy purposes this week in the QB10 to QB12 range.
8:44I am with you on that, Liz. The only quarterback over the last three seasons to have at least 4,500 passing yards
8:51and 30 passing touchdowns in each of those three seasons.
8:54Liz, I did think that there was going to be a little bit of regression, and I think you did too, around
9:02Jalen Hurts this year with the rushing specifically. And that regression was going to impact us in fantasy.
9:08He wasn't a high-end, a top-tier QB1. He was the very end of that Tier 1 quarterback conversation.
9:14I'm not even sure he belongs in the Tier 1 conversation anymore because even though his rushing has regressed, I kind of
9:21thought it was going to go to Saquon Barkley.
9:24And then it didn't really. It hasn't gone to Saquon the way that I thought it was.
9:29It really hasn't gone anywhere. He has not topped nine fantasy points in either of his healthy games so far this year.
9:37He did leave game two with the Stinger, right?
9:40So he has only played two full games. But he has not topped 15 carries in either of those two games.
9:47And he has only had one catch in both of those two healthy games as well.
9:52That is the surprising part. Wow. And with A.J.
9:55Brown off the squad, you would think that Barkley's dual threat skill set would be more utilized.
10:01But also the Eagles are not closing games, right?
10:04They lost in week three against the Bears. It was tight against the Titans.
10:08It was tight against the Commanders. This is not a team that is definitive.
10:13And I think, therefore, game script, how are we saying this?
10:17Game script is not going Saquon Barkley's way. You would think a player with the sort of receiving ability that he has would not be game script dependent.
10:26But he is because right now, I mean, I think you're saying he's touchdown dependent, which makes him not too different, frankly, than David Montgomery.
10:34No, I mean, that's basically what he has become.
10:37He has zero touchdowns this year and he has three catches.
10:41That is very David Montgomery-esque. The problem is this week, Liz, they play the Rams.
10:46You want to know how many touchdowns the Rams have allowed to running back so far this year?
10:52I know the answer and it's zero. Zero. It's zero.
10:55And so if we need touchdowns from Saquon, it feels like maybe this isn't the week to get it.
11:01I don't know how you bench him, but he's at best like a mid to low end RB2.
11:07He's not the guy that we thought he was.
11:10No, I totally agree. That is disappointing. Where do you have him ranked?
11:15I've got him, I believe, as running back 16 this week.
11:18And that's probably generous because he's Saquon Barkley, right?
11:21It's because his name is Saquon Barkley. If he wasn't Saquon Barkley and I looked at the box scores, there's no way he would be in that conversation.
11:31Agreed. Agreed. Yeah. What about you? What's the next one you got for me?
11:35Well, you know, I like to do a little whispering to the tight ends.
11:40And though I promised myself on Sunday night that I was not going to do this when I dug into Darren Waller's
11:47numbers, I have to put him on the streaming radar.
11:50I can't believe like what alternate universe am I in?
11:54I didn't even think Stranger Things was still a show.
11:57It's so tilting that Daniel Dopp has just left the premises.
12:01But I will continue on. Darren Waller, his eight targets last week led the team.
12:06Now, obviously, Jalen Coker wasn't available, but Coker's still dealing with a quad issue.
12:10So there's no reason to think that Waller won't see volume again in week four.
12:15Also, his snap share has increased every single week.
12:1834 percent, 43 percent, 49 percent. He already has multiple end zone targets this season.
12:23In fact, the only tight ends with more are Jawan Johnson, Trey McBride and Sam Laporta.
12:29He faces the Lions this week. Daniel definitely doesn't want to come back to hear this part.
12:34Detroit's defense has allowed five different tight ends to hit 13 fantasy points or more.
12:39They've also given up a touchdown to six different tight ends.
12:43So Darren Waller is firmly and so shockingly on the streaming radar.
12:47Thank you for that, Liz. Because next time, if you would give me a trigger warning, I would really appreciate it.
12:54I didn't need to be here for this. I just let you do it.
12:59And I got to just walk away and it would have been fine.
13:03I think that this year's Detroit Lions are the 2025 Cincinnati Bengals.
13:07The way that they were a tight end funnel last season, it kind of feels like through the first three games, at least.
13:14That is what it has looked like for the Detroit Lions with neither of their safeties back.
13:20Brian Branch and Kirby Joseph being bad. Like it's I'm not sure it gets better anytime soon, Liz.
13:26So until things change, I'm starting every tight end against the Lions, which means Darren Waller is one of them.
13:33Oh, I'm so mad about it. Can I ask you about another tight end, though?
13:38Because I feel like I am a little bit.
13:41I think I might have gotten Isaiah Likely again.
13:44And I told myself I wasn't going to get Isaiah Likely again.
13:48And then I did it. I let myself buy into the hype that was Isaiah Likely.
13:53John Harbaugh bringing him over from the Ravens. I loved that.
13:57Going to be a real option for Jackson Dart.
14:00I loved that. Didn't have to hide behind Mark Andrews anymore.
14:03I loved that. And then he has week one.
14:0626 some fantasy points. All the things that we love.
14:10Oh, it's like we did this. We called this, obviously.
14:13And then week two. 8.3 fantasy points. And then week three.
14:173.3 fantasy points. And I'm like, I've read this story before.
14:20Yeah, Liz, here's the thing. The points are going the wrong direction, but the snap share is going the right direction.
14:27Only 49% of the snaps in week one. 69% of the snaps in week two.
14:32That's nice. 84% of the snaps in week three.
14:35Is this just his quarterbacks are bad right now?
14:38Or is this more about Isaiah Likely? Isaiah Likely-ing us again for like the third straight year in fantasy?
14:44No, I think this is an offense with a coordinator that is not good outside of less predictable situations.
14:51Matt Nagy. Okay. You know, when he's in Kansas City with Andy Reid, he does quite well.
14:56Take him out of that situation. Chicago. And he flails.
15:00And now the Giants have been faced with a definitely unforeseen challenge.
15:04The offense has to completely change. The tricky thing and the most frustrating thing, I think, is that you would imagine the
15:11tight end position would kind of be the least affected because we know they frequently work as what?
15:17But a safety valve over the middle. But that's not been the case.
15:21I don't think that you can drop Likely. I still have him ranked inside my top 10 this week versus Arizona.
15:28I like him more, for instance, than like Hunter Henry or something.
15:32So I think you have to just plan for the floor, which is going to be about eight points.
15:38And then if you get lucky and things start to change, congratulations.
15:42Yeah, I feel like I'm wish casting Isaiah likely to be a tight end one because there's so much scar tissue from
15:50previous seasons where I've seen the same narrative work out.
15:53They're like, okay, I'm going to start him as a tight end one for one more week.
15:59But I reserve the right to change my mind next week if things don't look better for me, Liz Loza.
16:05Well, that is why this game is a compilation of facts and feelings, both equally important.
16:11This is a safe place. It's a place where we can feel free sharing our feelings.
16:16Well, Daniel, if we are looking at the heavens and screaming, make it make sense.
16:21We have to feel as though other people are doing the same.
16:25So let's get straight into fantasy therapy. What are the submissions so far this week?
16:30Yeah, we're going to dive into your DMs. First one is at Allah Sin.
16:35Can I stream Kirk Cousins against the Chiefs at quarterback this week?
16:39I also roster Justin Herbert list. That's where we have gotten.
16:42We're in week four. Would you play Cousins? So I understand that Cousins has been uncharacteristically good.
16:48Just scoring touchdown after touchdown week after week. But I don't like this matchup against Kansas City.
16:53The Chiefs defense has allowed just two passing scores so far this season.
16:58They've also allowed the third fewest passing yards. What is up must eventually come down.
17:03And I do think that will be Cousins this week.
17:06I understand wanting to sit Herbert. We've talked about quarterback throughout this show, especially at Seattle.
17:11If you could stream, I would recommend Kyler Murray.
17:14He is rostered in about 60% of leagues. If you need someone who's more available, might I recommend Marcus Mariota?
17:21He is available in, I believe, 80% of leagues currently.
17:24Yeah, I am with you on that one, Liz.
17:27I would rather play Mariota than either Kirk Cousins or Justin Herbert this week if they were on the roster.
17:34Excuse me, on the waiver wire. All right, our buddy J-Man from the Rolling Hills trying to get his team out of the gutter here with a voicemail.
17:43Hey, this is Jason. I'm calling from the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
17:48I'm calling more for a pep talk than anything.
17:51I'm in a super flex league. Among my team members are Justin Herbert, Drake May, Drake London, and Colston Loveland, and Quinshon Judkins.
17:59Needless to say, I am getting absolutely destroyed. So I just need you to tell me that everything's going to be okay
18:06and that these guys who are all supposed to be pretty good are going to pick it up.
18:12Thanks. Appreciate it. And I do not have an Instagram handle.
18:15That's probably for the best. Um, I, I think Jason, what I would do first is probably walk outside, take in the
18:23view of those gorgeous Black Hills, maybe put on a little bit of Marley.
18:27Every little thing, man, is going to be okay because even though you're in a super flex league and probably need both
18:35of those quarterbacks who are absolutely tanking, there are streamable options available.
18:39We talked about them throughout the show. I think you got to dig in and do a little bit of work there
18:46and also find some silver linings, right? Like Drake London had a quarterback change and bounced back a little bit.
18:53Quinn Sean Judkins, we knew was a volume play.
18:56He's currently the RB 17 in rush attempts. Colston Loveland, I get the frustration.
19:00I get the frustration. And also Ben Johnson clearly making a concerted effort to get him the ball.
19:06He ranks second on the team in routes run.
19:09He has the most end zone targets on the squad.
19:13So it will happen. This is an offense in flux, but that was able to stand up to the challenge and appear
19:20not just, you know, stable, but victorious, just like your squad, man.
19:24I want you to think of yourselves as the week three Chicago Bears on primetime using a dusty quarterback that you didn't
19:31even think was going to be in the rotation and bounce back.
19:35How about that for a pep talk? That's really good, Liz.
19:39I really appreciate your positivity. Um, Jason, it's probably not going to be all right.
19:44Your team's probably sunk. Oh, Jesus. But I love what Liz just brought to the table.
19:49Let's just be real. I mean, come on. Don't give up on fantasy football though, bro.
19:54You keep, you keep grinding while you can. We got another question.
19:58Collins J 1967. Okay. I've got Khalil Shakir and Romeo Dobbs at the flex.
20:03Would you start either of those or Brenton Strange and Kyle Menungai?
20:07Either one of those as well. Oh, so you're going to get like eight fantasy points here, right?
20:13Like if you start Shakir or Dobbs, I would have to start Shakir because I want the option that is attached to
20:20the better quarterback and the healthier offense. But I also wouldn't do it if I didn't have to, because while Strange has
20:28theoretically a good matchup against the Bengals, Kaya Menungai has a better one and more upside against the Jets.
20:34Now I know his efficiency has waned over the past three weeks.
20:38We don't love that. But Menungai could get you eight fantasy points like these other guys, or he could get you 18 particularly.
20:45And again, in a matchup against the Jets that have allowed four touchdowns to the running back position, two on the ground and two through the air.
20:54That would be the upside play and the one I would take among these four.
20:59Yeah. Jameer just got in the end zone three times against that Jets defense.
21:04So I'm with you on that list. Have you ever been to South by Southwest?
21:09Oh, no, but I would love to go. I went to Austin for the Grand Prix almost a year ago now in October of 2025.
21:17And I had the time of my life. I fell in love with Austin.
21:22It was my first time there. Why is this caller from Austin?
21:26This caller is from Austin, Texas. That's why. Oh, let's hear from him.
21:30Okay. First and foremost, I love you guys. Oh.
21:33You guys, I listen to you probably more than daily.
21:37I'm probably on repeat twice. Wow. Let's just be honest.
21:40My name is Joey. I'm from Austin, Texas. Love this guy.
21:44My IG handle is underscore Joe underscore high underscore roller underscore.
21:47Four underscores. Four underscores. Jody High Roller. Okay. Riff Raff, if anyone gets that reference.
21:52Anyway, to the football. How am I feeling about Zay Flowers?
21:56Zay Flowers. I feel good about him. Is. Oh my God.
21:59Like we saw what he did in week one, right?
22:03Yeah. We saw what he did. Yeah. Do I sell high on Zay Flowers?
22:07Am I losing my mind? Is he going to get hurt again?
22:11That's a different question, Liz. I can't answer that.
22:14But should you sell high on Zay Flowers? I mean, for what are you going to sell high?
22:20He's already a wide receiver one for fantasy purposes.
22:23He managed five catches and cleared 80 receiving yards on weird turf conditions and on a limited snap count in week three.
22:31And now Jesse Minter has said he's going to be a full go in week four.
22:36He is the team's undisputed number one. He's been electric.
22:39Like I don't, I want the best players on my team.
22:43And he hasn't mentioned a different position of need that he would want to upgrade with a potential trade.
22:49So I think as much as I adore you, Joey, and as much as I would love to see Austin through your
22:57eyes, I would sit in a little space of gratitude here.
23:00Yeah. I also love you too, Joey, baby. But listen, if I've got Zay Flowers on my squad, I'm just going to be in on it.
23:09All right. That is a very condensed fantasy offense.
23:12You're talking about Zay Flowers and Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson.
23:15It's not like there's a lot of other pass catchers there actually like that.
23:20If I have a wide receiver, that is the majority of the, going to be the guy majority of the time I want that dude.
23:28So I'm in on keeping Zay Flowers like Liz, but I do want to make a field trip out to Austin someday.
23:36Liz, maybe we can go make that happen. Oh, that'd be fun.
23:40Yeah. All right. I got one last question here.
23:43This one last one comes from our producer, Ryan.
23:46Oh, that's right. Our producer, Ryan lost to me this week in fantasy football because the Denver Broncos had a pick six at the end of the game.
23:55Do you remember that pick six that meant basically nothing, but it meant something to me and it definitely meant something to Ryan.
24:03Unfortunately, Liz. Yeah. The best part about this is that Ryan very intelligently played the Minnesota Vikings defense.
24:09And I think this is the only matchup that Brian Flores lost.
24:13Yeah. Yeah. He was really good this week, except for in Ryan's lineup.
24:17Sorry about that big guy. Better days ahead. Hey, who says defenses don't win fantasy games?
24:22Yes. Well, in case you guys missed it, we had a pretty exciting, unique segment last week.
24:28So, Luke, this is Jess. Jess, this is Luke.
24:31It's nice to meet you. It's nice to meet you, Jess.
24:34I don't think either one of you should leave.
24:37In fact, I think you should both meet up with your mutual friend groups this coming Sunday at that Silver Lake bar
24:45that is a Lions bar that I will not drop the name of for your own, you know, private reasons.
24:51Mm-hmm. What do you guys think? Yeah. I'm down.
24:54Yeah. Yeah! So, Jess and Luke did meet up.
24:57I actually went to the Lions bar to be with them.
25:01And we had a great time. We watched your Lions win.
25:05We watched Jameer Gibbs absolutely crushed. And everybody, you know what was one of the coolest parts?
25:10Everybody had their phones out checking their fantasy scores.
25:13So, there was definite second screen experience happening. A lot of people stopped me and wanted lineup advice.
25:19A lot of people upset about Justin Herbert and Quinchon Judkins.
25:23I got numerous questions, but the bar was very inviting.
25:26They sat next to each other in a booth.
25:29Oh, that's cute. And the conversation was sparkling. They asked about you.
25:33Luke was very complimentary of you. You are beloved amongst a Lions fan.
25:37So, you were there with me in spirit for sure.
25:41I love that. I wish I could have been there.
25:44I got to ask you, how much Lions knowledge did Luke have?
25:48Because he came across like a fan that actually knew quite a bit about football.
25:53I mean, what was interesting was he did tell my friend, who's a professional hairdresser in Los Angeles, a city that does
26:00hair regularly, that he got a new haircut but didn't want to not wear his lucky Lions hat, so purposely covered it.
26:08What I appreciated most was that these were two, before this moment, strangers who were open to possibility, who, you know, were
26:15just like stunned at what the universe presented them and went for it.
26:19And like, maybe this is a rom-com in the making or maybe this is nothing more than an awesome story.
26:26But kudos to people, like staying open and just, you know, not just being factual all the time, but giving some of those feelings some real credence.
26:35Goal! Lost! Cool! Today we learned that while Trevor Lawrence may not be the prince that was promised, at least Justin Herbert
26:42investors can find refuge in the pleasant surprise that is Jared Goff.
26:46And that often commiseration can provide catharsis. Be sure to check out my Week 4 edition of Facts vs.
26:52Feelings, The Column, which is currently live on the .com.
26:56And leave us a voicemail. We want all of your cash outs, crash outs, and Week 4 lineup questions.
27:02The number to call is 323-391-4855. Until next time, may your facts be solid, your feelings be right, and your busts be someone else's problem.
27:10Daniel Dopp, I'm in LA, you're in Bristol, and I miss you!
27:14I miss you too, Liz, but listen. Hmm. Just moved over that real quick.
27:19I miss you too, but anyway.
