Bijan Robinson

PositiveUsage0:29

Bijan Robinson remains a high-end fantasy asset, coming off a 194-yard, two-touchdown performance on 29 carries. He leads the NFL in games with 25-plus fantasy points since the start of 2024 with 13.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection53:33

Bo Nix has struggled early in the season with only two touchdowns and limited rushing production, but the source remains optimistic that his rushing will return and he will eventually return to back-end QB1 status.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveInjury37:33

Bowers is trending toward playing in Week 3 after being limited in practice. He is considered a must-start if active, as the team expects him to be fully involved in the passing game.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection69:43

The source describes Brock Purdy as one of the league's most effective quarterbacks, noting his consistency and a favorable Week 3 matchup against Arizona.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection58:51

Young is a preferred start over Kyler Murray this week, having performed as a top-10 quarterback through the first two weeks.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveUsage72:55

The source is riding the Bucky Irving train, noting that while the backfield might level off later in the season, he is a recommended start for Week 3.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveUsage68:47

The source highlights Chris Olave as a start of the week due to his strong chemistry with Tyler Shuck and the significant volume he is receiving in the offense.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveBreakout6:40

Christian Watson is passing the eye and statistical tests, and the source views his production as more sustainable than his teammate's, projecting him as a WR2 or potentially a WR1.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveRole68:21

With Jonathan Brooks out and AJ Dillon as the only other option, the source projects Chuba Hubbard to be the lone back in the Panthers' backfield for Week 3.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

NegativeUsage57:37

Sutton is a concern for Week 3, with the source noting his 16% target share is his lowest since 2018. Despite maintaining over 80% route participation, he faces a tough matchup against Trent McDuffie. The source views him as a flex option rather than a lineup lock, ranking him as WR49.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeInjury13:59

DJ Moore is dealing with a shoulder injury and was limited in practice on Thursday. He remains a lineup lock until further notice.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue45:33

The source prefers starting DeAndre Swift over Devon Achane due to his usage and role within his current offense, despite the tough matchup against the Eagles.

Insight page
PositiveProjection60:55

Despite offensive struggles through the first two weeks, the source considers D'Andre Swift a must-start for Week 3, noting he has been the only player on the team to show consistent production.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveProjection69:18

Dalton Kincaid is recommended as a start of the week, with the source noting his hot start to the season and current top-five status in fantasy points at the position.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveUsage50:32

Davante Adams is a lineup lock with a massive 32% target share. Despite a tough matchup against Patrick Surtain, his role as the clear number one target for Matthew Stafford makes him a must-start.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeUsage43:09

The analysts are split on Devon Achane; Mike Clay remains optimistic due to his 25-touch volume, while others are concerned about the lack of offensive creativity and production, preferring DeAndre Swift.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveValue63:21

The source ranks Denzel Boston higher than both Rome Odunze and Luther Burden for Week 3, noting his solid start to the season and volume-based upside.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveUsage28:21

Derrick Henry is expected to have a monster game after receiving only four carries in the second half of the previous game, which the source deems unacceptable.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury66:59

Devonta Smith did not practice, but the source notes that because the Eagles play on Monday, the practice schedule is pushed back, and his status should be monitored over the weekend.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveUsage0:38

Drake London is back on track as a fantasy asset, recording 10 targets, 9 catches, and 194 yards in his latest outing with Michael Penix Jr. at quarterback.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveUsage37:28

Emmanuel Wilson has emerged as the preferred goal-line option for the Seahawks, receiving half of the team's goal-to-go rushing attempts, including three consecutive carries in a recent sequence.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveProjection73:26

Garrett Wilson is recommended as a start of the week, with the source reiterating confidence in his role and matchup.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveInjury53:47

Kittle is a strong start, and his outlook would improve further if Mike Evans is ruled out, as that could lead to more targets for Kittle.

Insight page
PositiveProjection69:43

George Kittle is recommended as a start of the week, with the source noting he is ramping up his production and is a strong play in both DFS and season-long formats.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveBreakout33:40

Pickens is a strong trade target despite a slow start (15.8 points). He maintains a 23% target share, which is higher than last year. In 12 games alongside CeeDee Lamb last season, he averaged 16.1 fantasy points per game, suggesting he can produce even with Lamb on the field.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeUsage37:10

Jadarian Price is struggling to secure a lead role in the Seahawks backfield, splitting snaps (41%) with Emmanuel Wilson and George Holani. He lacks consistent goal-line usage and passing game involvement, making him difficult to rank inside the top 25.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

PositiveUsage32:06

Despite a 20-point performance in Week 2, Ferguson is a 'stock down' candidate due to a low 10% target share through two games. His usage has regressed from his 16-17% historical average, and his Week 2 production is viewed as unsustainable.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

NegativeInjury55:31

Coker is dealing with a DNP after being limited, which is a concerning trend. While it might be related to a padded practice day, fantasy managers should monitor his status closely.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeUsage46:45

Love is currently outside the top 20 running backs and is only a flex consideration. He is playing only 43% of snaps and ranks 37th in fantasy points per touch, failing to meet expectations despite his high draft capital.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue36:21

The source ranks Josh Downs well ahead of A.D. Mitchell and highlights a favorable upcoming matchup against the Commanders, who have allowed seven passing touchdowns in two games.

Insight page
PositiveValue60:04

Downs is a priority add and start. He saw a 30% target share last week and is considered the team's WR1, with a favorable matchup against the Commanders coming up in Week 4.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveUsage9:54

If Josh Jacobs returns to the field, he is expected to be among the league leaders in touches for the remainder of the season due to the Packers' lack of a viable running game.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

NegativeInjury13:56

Keon Coleman missed two consecutive practices (Wednesday and Thursday), which is a concern for his availability.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

PositiveDepth Chart14:52

Khalil Shakir is on the radar as a potential flex consideration if DJ Moore is unable to play.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection3:51

The source suggests that fantasy managers should temper expectations for Kyle Pitts, noting that his lack of production may not be a temporary issue.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeProjection61:52

Similar to Odunze, the source advises that Luther Burden is not a lineup lock and can be benched in favor of players with better quarterback situations or defensive matchups.

Insight page

Marcus Mariota

PositiveProjection41:21

Marcus Mariota is a viable streaming option for the next few weeks while Jaden Daniels is out. He averaged 17.1 fantasy points per game in seven starts last year and offers dual-threat upside.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

NegativeDepth Chart38:37

With Brock Bowers expected to return, Mayer is a drop candidate in most formats. He has not shown enough production to warrant a bench spot over higher-upside waiver wire options.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

NegativeProjection0:36

Michael Penix Jr. is not a fantasy starter; he lacks elite rushing and passing upside, though he is capable of supporting Drake London and Bijan Robinson.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveUsage51:59

With the team moving away from Marvin Harrison Jr., Wilson has emerged as a definitive flex option. He boasts a 95% route participation rate and has seen exactly seven targets in both games.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveProjection67:36

Mahomes is a recommended start for Week 3, with the source highlighting his high-end performance and the strength of the Dolphins' offense as a reason to expect a productive game.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveBreakout70:25

The source identifies Week 3 as the time for Quinshawn Judkins to break out, noting that Carolina has been vulnerable to running backs and this is a prime home matchup.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveRole25:56

If Zay Flowers is out, Rashad Bateman becomes a flex consideration. He produced last week and would likely see an increased target share in the Ravens' offense.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

NegativeProjection61:52

The source suggests fantasy managers have permission to bench Rome Odunze this week, citing the backup quarterback situation and the availability of better flex options with more favorable matchups.

Insight page

Russell Wilson

PositiveProjection57:03

The source notes Wilson was a top-10 fantasy points per game producer in his first two seasons and expects his rushing production to return. While currently ranked QB14 for Week 3 against a tough Rams defense, the source believes he will eventually return to back-end QB1 status as the offense continues to progress.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeMatchup57:36

Diggs is a risky start in Week 3 due to a new quarterback and a brutal matchup against the Seattle defense.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveBreakout53:04

Terrence Ferguson has moved up in rankings and projections, potentially serving as the number two target for the Rams with Colby Parkinson dealing with an injury.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveRole36:50

Terry McLaurin is considered a near-lock for lineups in Week 3 due to his consistent target volume and the current quarterback situation.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeProjection57:32

Etienne is a begrudging start for Week 3. While his production has been disappointing, there is hope that the team will ramp up his usage as the season progresses.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveProjection47:37

Travis Kelce is coming off his best fantasy outing since 2023 and is expected to remain at least a mid-range TE1 moving forward.

Insight page
PositiveUsage73:46

Travis Kelce is recommended as the tight end of the week, with the source noting he leads the NFL in yards after the catch this season.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeUsage5:32

Tucker Craft has had a slow start, but remains a top-12 tight end option due to the scarcity of the position. He managed 4 catches for 6.6 fantasy points in his most recent game.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

PositiveValue38:55

The source recommends adding Zach Charbonnet, who is available in 50% of leagues, as he is expected to have a role in the Seahawks backfield once he returns from injury.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury23:56

Zay Flowers is dealing with a hamstring injury and did not practice, but he traveled to Brazil with the team. His status must be monitored for the upcoming game.

0:24You want to get a cool snakeskin belt like this so that you can wear it around the house?
0:29I think Bijan Robinson is wearing one right now.
0:32Probably. He deserves to. He deserves to. Let's dive into that Thursday Night Football recap.
0:36Guys, Michael Penix Jr. understood the assignment. 1 million percent.
0:38Did you know that both Bijan Robinson and Drake London had 194 yards?
0:42It's amazing. One on the ground, one through the air.
0:45Yes, right. Yes, that's right. This is, we'll talk about all the fantasy in just a moment.
0:49Go ahead, Field. What a great moment that was for Michael Penix.
0:53Yes, for sure. This guy's overcome so much on the health front.
0:56Yep. And candidly, I don't think Atlanta really had visions of them being the starting quarterback or him being the starting quarterback at the beginning of the year.
1:04Felt like they kind of wanted Tua to win that job in training camp.
1:07He didn't. Then he got hurt. Michael Penix Jr.
1:10gets healthy. Plays in week three after being unavailable weeks one and two.
1:14Slow start. He was slinging that thing from the second quarter on.
1:17Finished with that 256 passing yards. Great human story.
1:19Great real life story. For fantasy, he's not going to be a guy that's on our radar as a starter.
1:25No rushing upside really with him and not elite, elite passing upside.
1:28But plenty good enough to get the Drake London and Bijan Robinson trains back on the tracks, especially in the case of Drake London.
1:35Awesome to see for Michael Penix Jr. Yeah, first quarter made us a little nervous.
1:39Came out, got the rust off with an interception, was not throwing to Drake London at all.
1:43Made me a little nervous. But then things changed in a big way.
1:47Obviously, initially, Robinson was just carrying the offense and he did that the entire game.
1:51194 yards on 29 carries, guys. Two touchdowns as well.
1:54Brian Robinson also found the end zone in this one.
1:57But Drake London, then he started feeding him. So, 10 targets, 9 catches, 194 through the air.
2:01And this is typical, as you pointed out yesterday, over, what is it, over 20 points per game?
2:0620.5. Michael Penix Jr.'s first 12 starts with Drake London.
2:09That average will go down. It's going down. It's going up now after a remarkable performance.
2:13By the way, I just wanted to give you some flowers to a part of this.
2:18The way that this Falcons offense and fantasy played out is almost exactly as you kind of laid out on the show.
2:24Obviously, we were going to trust Bijan. We were all in with everything that you had told us about what Drake London looks like with Michael Penix Jr.
2:31And we were hoping that that was going to be Kyle Pitts.
2:35But you gave us some reason. Hey, this might not be a Kyle Pitts thing, too, unfortunately.
2:39It was, unfortunately, right on the mark. Great analysis on that field.
2:43Can you give us anything to maybe unlock Kyle Pitts next week, though, so that you can talk it into existence like you did Drake London?
2:50I do know they play once again on Monday on primetime.
2:53Monday night football next week is the Falcons. So, remember, the big talking point this week was the Falcons have to play three straight primetime games.
3:00And we are subjected to them. Yes. We talked about this on the show on Monday.
3:04Crow being eaten by me for breakfast this morning.
3:07Big John Robinson's worth the price of admission. Not that we have to say much about him.
3:11But he now has more games with 25-plus fantasy points since the start of 2024 than any player in the NFL.
3:17He stands alone with 13. He's amazing. Drake London is back.
3:20For the Packers, complete stay-away backfield. They are totally useless.
3:23They were just awful once again last night. Jordan Love was fine.
3:26He had over 18 fantasy points, largely in garbage time.
3:29We need to talk about the receivers, though. Yes, we do.
3:32We got two guys. I think we can talk about Tucker Craft briefly and just note that, like, it's been kind of a slow start for Tucker Craft.
3:40We'd be more concerned if he didn't play tight end.
3:42But it's hard to find 12 guys that we like more week-to-week than Tucker Craft.
3:47That's the analysis. He also had three catches in the first quarter.
3:50And you're like, maybe he will end up with eight catches for 65 yards.
3:54There will be weeks where that does happen. But, yeah.
3:56He managed just four catches and, I think, 6.6 fantasy points last night.
4:00But let's talk about the White House. Is the Christian Watson arrival here and for real and here to stay?
4:05It looks like it. Certainly passing the eye test and passing the statistics test as well.
4:10The question is, the question we've had for a long time.
4:13Can he hold up? Is he going to keep doing this long term?
4:16Literally hold up physically. Not, can he keep producing?
4:19Yeah. So, yeah. Look, I'll say this. I'm going to kind of fold Matthew Golden in here a little bit.
4:24Numbers for these guys are certainly inflated by game script and what's been going on.
4:29Week one, Jordan Love threw a ton of passes.
4:31And remember, Matthew Golden had a ton of garbage time, put up a big fantasy point total.
4:36Last week was a little more normal passing game.
4:3829 passing attempts. 29 pass attempts. And Golden came back to earth.
4:41And then this game, same kind of thing. 53 pass attempts for Jordan Love.
4:45And the numbers are certainly inflated. So, I think for someone like Watson, it feels a little more, I want to say, like, sustainable.
4:52I think he's the more skilled player at this point in his career.
4:55He's featured near the goal line for sure. Now, Golden did find the end zone last night, but that was his first ever regular season touchdown.
5:03So, I'm leaning more toward it being more likely Watson could sustain this as like a wide receiver two probably, maybe one at the rate he's at.
5:10But I think Golden might come back to earth.
5:12I think he's kind of at his peak at the moment because the game scripts, I know their defense isn't playing well,
5:18but should be a little more normal going forward.
5:21That's what we have to figure out is whether this is just how Green Bay is going to be this year.
5:27No Micah Parsons. That's probably not going to happen until they play the Cowboys.
5:31And I think week six is when they play the Cowboys.
5:34That's the earliest we'll see Micah Parsons. Without him, they are just, at best, an ordinary defense.
5:38And they just aren't good on defense right now.
5:41Honestly, on both sides of the ball, if you gave this team Josh Jacobs as a running back and they all of
5:47a sudden had a running game because they don't have one right now, the team can't even pretend like they have a running game right now.
5:54They have no running game. And we'll see whether Josh Jacobs returns to the field this season.
5:58But what's so very clear is that when he does, if he does, I should say, if Josh Jacobs return this season,
6:05he's going to be amongst the rest of season touch leaders in the NFL.
6:08Absolutely. There's just no two ways about that. It carries 17 yards last night for their running backs.
6:13Awful, awful. If you don't think this, and just so we can follow this through and then we'll move on and talk about the rest of the week.
6:21If you don't necessarily think this volume is sustainable because you don't think game script is going to continue to be this
6:27way, the wide receiver for the Packers that we're all buying into is Christian Watson being the one that is the most
6:33sustainable because we've seen Matthew Golden mostly get his stuff in garbage time.
6:37I'm not sure I'm in on selling Matthew Golden because I'm more on field side that it feels like this might be
6:43kind of like some of a more renewable game script for the Packers.
6:46Yes, sustainable game script. And by the way, I don't think Golden, this is kind of like the David Montgomery conversation after week one, to your point.
6:54Like, I'm not saying he's unusable. He's probably still going to be startable.
6:57But I'm saying he might be at his peak right now.
7:00When you have two out of your three games with such heavy second half pass volume, it's it's just and again, even
7:06if you make the argument that their defense isn't good and they're going to be behind a lot, not to this extent.
7:1253 pass attempts is not a sustainable number. Maybe maybe 40 or 38 like but this is too much and it's happened twice in three games.
7:19So that's the point I'm making is that he probably can't keep up this quite this level.
7:24You are not making an apples to apples comparison between him and David Montgomery.
7:28But one thing I will note that makes Matthew Golden pretty different is that this is a second year player who went
7:34in the first round, was the second wide receiver off the board last year.
7:38A lot of talent here. So maybe Green Bay continues to kind of build confidence in Matthew Golden because Lord knows they
7:44shouldn't have much confidence in a lot of what they are doing offensively.
7:47That offensive line stinks. I'm taking the Falcons in this one.
7:50Yeah, me too. 35-14. Just like we all predicted.
7:53By the way, Raheem Sanders, Sky Moore was so close.
7:56Oh, he was so close. I was like hoping for a garbage time touchdown.
7:59I'm glad Golden got it because I have some lineups.
8:02But Sky Moore also had one right at the goal line, right one right through his hands, and he would have fell into the end zone.
8:09So that was a close call. I feel like the process was fine on that one.
8:14You were right on that one. All right, let's dive into our week three storylines part two, my friends.
8:19If you want to go back and check out part one yesterday, today we're starting with Chargers and Bills.
8:24Lineup blocks. Josh Allen, James Cook, DJ Moore, Dalton Kincaid.
8:27On the other side, it's Omarian Hampton and Lad McConkie.
8:30Need him to be radder this week. I'm not going to lie.
8:33Can I give you guys a quick update? Keon Coleman did not practice two days in a row, both Wednesday and Thursday.
8:39DJ Moore didn't practice on Wednesday, was limited at practice with a shoulder injury on Thursday.
8:43So yeah, we like seeing that go in the right direction.
8:46We want to continue to see what's going on because they might be without, if DJ Moore doesn't play, does that potentially
8:52move Khalil Shakir up into a flex consideration just because of where we're at?
8:56On the radar for sure. Something to monitor with everything.
8:59But right now, DJ Moore going to be a lineup lock until we know that he is out of the lineup.
9:05Yeah, it's too bad for Keon Coleman, too. He just had that big game.
9:09I know. Hopefully, they'd get him more involved. The guy has the skills.
9:12I mean, what was he? The 33rd pick a couple years ago.
9:15Much maligned, obviously. But it's too bad that now he's a little beat up.
9:19We've got both of the Chargers tight ends on IR.
9:22Charlie Kolar and David Ndokou. The small note is Kolar, they ended up not placing on IR.
9:27Oh, they didn't put him on IR. But he's out for a couple weeks.
9:31He's out, yes. They got better news than anticipated on surgery.
9:34We saw Arande Gadsden last year give us a pocket of really nice fantasy value.
9:38I'd feel better about it if the Chargers were playing good, but how are we looking at him this week?
9:43As far as third string tight ends go, it might be as intriguing as you're going to find in the NFL.
9:49For sure. Just to remind people how good O'Ronday Gadsden was in flashes last year.
9:53You mentioned those four games where he was awesome.
9:55Four straight games with five or more catches, two of them with seven catches to be specific.
10:00He had over 160 yards and a touchdown in one of those games.
10:04And he averaged 13.6 yards per catch, which also, as far as tight ends go, it's a big number.
10:09For wide receiver, it's solid. For a tight end, it's excellent.
10:12He had a 20-plus yard catch in eight separate games last season.
10:15It's a big play tight end. He's a former wide receiver at Syracuse who got converted to tight end, which his father
10:21played as well at the NFL level. He doesn't do much as the...
10:25Yep, that's right. Doesn't do much as far as blocking is concerned.
10:28But if this game goes as we think it might and the Chargers have to find a way to keep up, could
10:34be some opportunities here for Arande Gadsden II. He is in that 12-ish...
10:38I'm sorry, 16-ish range right now for tight ends for me.
10:41You'll have to get him ranked a little bit higher probably by the end of the week.
10:45I guess I didn't realize I didn't have him ranked.
10:48I agree. But there's definitely downside. This offense has stunk, right?
10:51But we need to follow up on something from yesterday.
10:54Okay. That Mike noted that the only other tight end that's healthy on the active roster is Hayden Rucci.
10:59Right. Who they signed away from San Francisco's practice squad.
11:02He knows Mike McDaniel from Miami. And Mike was like, there are two other guys on the practice squad that I have never heard of.
11:09So I'm not going to bring them up. One of them is Justin Herbert's younger brother.
11:13Oh, that's right. Are you serious? That's right. I didn't know that.
11:16Darn it. Patrick, right? Patrick Herbert is one of the two practice squad tight ends.
11:20No way. I did notice that when I looked.
11:23I know. I was totally spaced yesterday on that.
11:25It's okay. No, it's funny. But Patrick Herbert, I suppose, could be in line for an elevation this week.
11:31You'd imagine they'd bring up at least one of those two practice squad tight ends just to have some depth there.
11:36But Gadsden is, again, in a week in which we have no, this guy's a star, but Dallas Goddard is out.
11:42And, you know, Brock Bowers, we think will play.
11:45But just in case, you know, if you're looking, if you're scouring the waiver wire for tight end options, Aranda Gadsden is at least a name to know.
11:52He should be out there pretty much every passing play, you would imagine, unless they go four wide with a running back.
11:58But he's going to be a lot because they don't really have a choice.
12:02When they're running, I'm guessing they're going to expand Alec Engel.
12:05But again, they don't have another option. So it should be a lot of Gadsden.
12:09I've seen the Bills score a lot of points so far this year.
12:13So there's a chance there is a lot of passing in this game.
12:16No doubt. Yeah. You could get a lot of that.
12:19The calculus is simple. They're probably going to have to throw a lot.
12:23He's a really good pass catcher. And he has big play upside where even if he has four catches, he can go for 102 yards and a touchdown.
12:30Exactly. All right. Taking the Bills. I am taking the Bills.
12:33Love that. I got to ask a quick question.
12:36Field, did you put these on the back of your phone?
12:39Honestly, this is adorable. Like this wasn't here earlier this week, was it?
12:43It was not. When did this happen? So my oldest asked for a new water bottle because hers, the straw from school, had fallen out.
12:49Okay. And you can drink it without a straw, but it's annoying.
12:53Okay. I said, we'll get you a new water bottle.
12:55And the one she picked was one that you can decorate.
12:58Of course. You have to. You have to decorate them.
13:01And it had this pen where you go and you like dip the pen into a sticky sponge.
13:06Yep. And you place sequins all over the water bottle.
13:09She absolutely crushed it. There was like A through J with little packets.
13:12And she aced putting all the individual sequins on.
13:15Love that. To the point that she was like, I don't really need these stickers.
13:19Would you like them instead? And I was like, I mean, whatever.
13:22Sure. And she was like, okay, I'll put them on your phone.
13:26So. That's adorable. For now, one of them is sort of falling off.
13:29But until first notice, I have the coolest phone case in America.
13:32The joys of being a parent. I know. It's fun to watch you go through those stages I went through too.
13:38But mine are 12 and 10 and they still do the arts and crafts and stuff.
13:43And they'll just come into my office and give me something they made and stuff.
13:47So it'll last a long time. You get a long run.
13:50A long way to go. Origami? Are we past origami?
13:52No, we still get a little bit of that.
13:55Yeah. We get a little origami. I have them on my desk right now.
13:59My desk is just surrounded by all this stuff.
14:01And then it's amazing. Love it. Love all of it.
14:04I just want him to answer his text messages.
14:06Maybe you should. Hold on now. Hold on. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
14:10Do as I do. Oh, okay. Why don't you lead by example?
14:13Okay, guys. All right. That's fair. That's fair. Hot kettle right there.
14:17Let's dive into the next game. Did we all pick the bills, by the way?
14:21We did all take the bills. Yes. Ravens and Cowboys.
14:23Guys, this is going to be, it should be a fun one.
14:27Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers. We'll talk about him in a second.
14:30As well as Javante Williams, CeeDee Lamb, and George Pickens in this one.
14:34Guys. A lot of lineup locks. Zay Flowers, quickly.
14:36This game is being played in Brazil. Zay Flowers did not practice back-to-back DMPs, but he did fly with the team.
14:42Yeah. So there's at least a chance that he is going to play, but it's still a situation that you need to monitor.
14:48There's a shot. You do not have Zay Flowers this week, and you need to make another change.
14:53He's still in the projection. He is because he worked off to the side, whereas like yesterday, I was, every day I
14:59have to make decisions on these, right? So Nico Collins was just out again.
15:03Correct. Nico Collins was working. Or, I'm sorry. Zay Flowers was working off to the side.
15:08So usually if a guy seems like he has a chance, especially at that caliber of a player, I'll leave him in for an extra day.
15:15That's why I went, yes for Flowers, no for Nico, but obviously monitoring every day.
15:19Absolutely. What an all-time vibes move, by the way.
15:21Zay Flowers goes to Brazil and they rule him out today.
15:24Because they left last night. The game report will be updated today.
15:28Are you really going to go all the way to Brazil?
15:31Are you going to make me fly all the way down here for nothing?
15:34Yeah. It's like a 10-hour flight. That feels like a long way to go if you have no chance of playing.
15:40This is a tough one, though, because it's a hamstring, right?
15:43So you don't want him to play and tweak it again, and then he goes on IR.
15:48On what sounds like a really dicey field they're playing on in Brazil.
15:51The NFL feels like that's not a problem, but there's been plenty of concern expressed.
15:56If he's out, what's your confidence in? Rashad Bateman?
15:58Yeah. He's going to be the next guy up.
16:01Probably more of a flex up. Not a wide receiver, too, like Zay Flowers is, but I'd throw him out there as
16:07a flex consideration if you need him. Because we do expect this game to be a higher-scoring game.
16:12I think this is one of, if not the highest-scoring game, highest implied total of the week.
16:16That sounds right to me. Yeah. Yeah. He was, I mean, Bateman produced last week in his spot.
16:21We know that they can't support a lot. There's not, you can't feed a lot of mouse in a Lamar Jackson-led offense through the air.
16:28We know that. That's been his whole career just because he runs so much.
16:32It's not a knock on him. It's just his game.
16:35But if Flowers is out, that opens up a quarter, what, 30% of the targets?
16:39And Bateman obviously took advantage last week. He could certainly do that again.
16:42That being said, just because he did it last week doesn't mean it's rinse-repeat because there are ups and downs in this
16:48passing game for whoever the wide receiver one is, right?
16:51So that's part of what you dance with. Dallas is very shorthanded defensively, though.
16:55They have four guys out that have been out.
16:57This isn't a new thing by any means, but they're still out.
17:01So, I mean, this is an opportunity. Derek Henry, though, monster game coming.
17:04Not that that's like some crazy out-of-the-box thought, but the Ravens are hearing the noise.
17:08Let me get your limb back for you. You dropped it over here.
17:12The limb that I went out on right there.
17:14Derek Henry got four carries in the second half last week.
17:17Not acceptable. First time for Declan Doyle to have to answer.
17:20He's the offensive coordinator for the Ravens. Like, why would you not have your, let's call it second best offensive player, but
17:26the best offensive player on a lot of other teams would be Derek Henry.
17:30Why is he barely playing in the second half?
17:33I think he's going to make up for lost time or make up for lost opportunities this week.
17:38The Saints were in comeback mode and they're just like, this is awesome.
17:41You don't have to tackle that guy? This is great for us.
17:44It's making it way easier. Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss.
17:49It started with a kickoff. Or perhaps it was love at first hike.
17:52But unfortunately, many of these football lovers don't live in the same city as their team, which is why Marriott Bonvoy has
17:58hotels close to nearly every NFL stadium, bringing fans closer to the teams they love with over 30 different hotel brands.
18:04So if you want to stay closer to your team, check in for game day with Marriott Bonvoy, the official sponsor of the NFL.
18:11We'll see you there. Every game day starts before the lights go up, before the snap, before the roar.
18:16Something's already at work. Cleaner, quieter energy production, running where the game lives.
18:19Strong enough for fourth and goal, smart enough for what comes next.
18:23Powering game day, powering the fans and powering the communities that show up every Saturday.
18:27The same energy that runs your stadium, runs the schools and the hospital in your neighborhood.
18:31That is performance, powered by Bloom Energy. Powering game days, powering communities.
18:34Every day is better with donuts. But who wants that sugar crash?
18:385-Hour Energy has two bakery classics with none of the guilt.
18:41You might want the raspberry flavor of a jelly donut 5-Hour Energy shot.
18:44Or maybe the rich and silky vanilla combo of the Boston Cream Donut 5-Hour Energy shot.
18:49Either way, you're getting the guilty pleasure of a bakery with none of the guilt.
18:53New jelly donut and Boston Cream Donut 5-Hour Energy shots available at 5-HourEnergy.com and on Amazon.
18:57Talk about the Cowboys. It feels like CeeDee Lamb clear number one pass catcher.
19:01Oh yeah. Remember the talks in the offseason? Yes.
19:03Actually, George Pickens is probably better. There's a lot of discourse on that.
19:07I don't know about that. Yeah, it doesn't feel like it.
19:10Feels like the number two pass catcher. Is it Jake Ferguson?
19:13Is it George Pickens? Is it both of them?
19:16How are you looking at this field? I think it's Mike.
19:19I'll tell you what, Mike. Why don't you take this one?
19:22Yeah, how about this? I'm going to give you a stock up and a stock down.
19:26And it's going to be the opposite of what you might think after week two.
19:30I'm saying the stock down on Jake Ferguson. Now, he's coming off a game with two touchdowns and 20 fantasy points last week.
19:36But that's his best fantasy game since midway through last season.
19:39He has a total of six targets in two games so far this season.
19:4310% target share. The last three seasons, he's been in the 16% to 17% range.
19:47But remember, CeeDee Lamb missed time early last year.
19:50And that affected Jake Ferguson. If you look at his week one through seven target share last year when he was lightening
19:56it up in fantasy, when he was Jake Ferguson, not Joe Farderson, a 22% target share from weeks eight to 18.
20:02It dropped all the way to 13%. A big difference.
20:04And now that's carried over to this season. So my favorite.
20:07It'll go up a little bit going forward, I think.
20:10But I'm not expecting him to be a consistently high targeted guy.
20:13And he's been, his numbers were certainly unsustainable from last week.
20:16So if Ferguson comes back to earth, someone has to pick up the slack.
20:20And that's going to be George Pickens. I'm not super worried about him.
20:24Excellent guy to be trying to trade for at this particular moment.
20:27Only 15.8 fantasy points so far. But he is a 23% target share.
20:31That's actually up a little bit from last year.
20:33When he was a top 10 fantasy receiver, this offense is still very good.
20:37And remember, you might be thinking, but CeeDee Lamb's out there now.
20:40So Pickens can't keep producing, right? CeeDee Lamb is out there now.
20:44There's no way Pickens should be producing. Right, there's no way.
20:47But what about the 12 games where they were together last season, Daniel?
20:50Do you know what he did in those? He's a 23% target share.
20:54That's 8.3 per game. And he averaged 16.1 fantasy points per game.
20:57That would have ranked eighth over the full season at wide receiver.
21:00So I think that it's been a little fluky I'm picking so far.
21:04Okay. And I expect him to get rolling perhaps this week.
21:07So I'm sticking with him. I got an idea here.
21:10Ready? Let's, if George Pickens goes off for 25, this is a non-conversation.
21:13And if he goes, but let's say George Pickens has 12 or fewer fantasy points in week three.
21:18Would you trade Matthew Golden for George Pickens? Yes.
21:21I would trade Matthew Golden for George Pickens. I feel really good about the Dallas offense.
21:25I would too. Yeah. Okay. I would too. You would still, okay.
21:28Yes. I was trying to think of a number.
21:31Because if he goes for 17, you're probably like, yeah, this is a George Pickens.
21:35I know. If he goes for 25, you're like, told you George Pickens is the man.
21:39I don't know if 12 is too high or too low.
21:42I'm trying to think of who else would be.
21:45If you were doing a draft today, who are you picking first?
21:48I'm still thinking George Pickens. Yeah, me too. But that's exactly why we talk about this stuff.
21:53Yeah, that'd be interesting. Someone else might be panicking.
21:55Why don't we throw like, can we make a note to ourselves to make, like, come up with like a Matthew Golden Mendoza line for next week?
22:03Yeah. And maybe conversely, whether it's George Pickens or if it's Colston Loveland or somebody that has three straight underwhelming games to
22:09start to do the opposite side of that Mendoza coin as well.
22:12For sure. Do you think Joke Farterson or Bad McDonkey is Mike's best nickname?
22:16Ooh. I think Joke Farterson. I reference that one.
22:18The way you said it at the same time and looked at each other.
22:22I'm not above a fart joke. You guys are stupid children.
22:25You are so adorable. All right, pick your game on this one.
22:28Which one are we doing here? I am picking the Cowboys.
22:31What? Yeah. I'm going with the Ravens. Who did I pick?
22:34I picked the Cowboys. No, I picked the Ravens.
22:37Ravens. Yeah. Not really a home game. Producers going with the Cowboys on this one.
22:41Producers no ball. What can I say? Split. All right.
22:44Next game. Raiders and Saints. The Raiders. Lineup blocks in this one.
22:47Ashton Gentey and Brock Bowers. We'll talk about him in just a second.
22:51On the other side, it is Chris Olave right now.
22:53Guys, really quickly on Brock Bowers. Limited in practice.
22:56Both days. Sounds like he's playing. Looks like he's coming back.
22:59Sounds like it. And there's not a guarantee, but we are definitely trending in that direction.
23:03And if he is back, I am deploying him as normal.
23:06Yeah. I don't think he'll be limited. And if he is, it's like a little less blocking.
23:11When they're throwing the ball, he'll be out there.
23:13I'm not worried about that at all. If you have him, you start him.
23:17If Brock Bowers is back, I am dropping. If I added Michael Mayer, I'm probably dropping Michael Mayer and finding someone with
23:23more upside right now on the waiver wire to just take that spot on my bench before they potentially blow up here on Sunday.
23:30And then I have to fight all the waivers together.
23:33No doubt. It's not like he was lighting it up anyway.
23:36If Mayer was playing like in Cade or likely, maybe a hold tight until we are sure on Bowers.
23:41But that hasn't been the case anyway. Feeling good.
23:43Keep watching it. But feeling good about Bowers this week.
23:46All right. Field. We only have Chris Olave as a lineup block on there.
23:50But my dude, Tyler Shuck, has been on fire to start.
23:53By the way, can I quickly explain why he's not, even though I have him ranked QB6?
23:58Because he was drafted as a QB2. So I think when you register someone as a lineup block this early in the
24:04season, I feel like it's pretty evident with him.
24:06You probably have another quarterback that's pretty good. So you might have a decision on your hands.
24:11So I thought it was a close enough call that I leaned away from it.
24:15But usually if someone's ranked QB7, even QB8 in that range, they're probably going to be a lineup block.
24:20So this is a close call. So on Wednesday of week two, we did our ranking discussions.
24:25And my theme was like guys that did something in week one that have a chance to prove something in week two.
24:31For example, Ashton Gentry. He mashes in week one, comes back in week two, and he comes back down to earth.
24:36Caleb Williams was the quarterback that I picked. He went crazy in week one.
24:40Hey, if he does it against the Vikings in week two, then going forward, when you see Caleb Williams as quarterback six
24:46in our rankings, you don't ask questions. Yes. All right, Caleb Williams is quarterback six in the same way that you have
24:52no reaction when Jalen Hurts is quarterback four, Josh Allen's quarterback one, right?
24:56Tyler Shuck can get to a similar spot if he puts it together in a different way this week.
25:01He could be quarterback nine each week going forward if he does something that he really hasn't done through the first two
25:07weeks, which is start to finish, play well, and not be boosted by volume and game script.
25:12When you say he could be quarterback nine going forward, that's because there are three quarterbacks that are out where if he
25:18was at six this week, you would have him back at nine normally.
25:21I just used nine arbitrarily. You just picked the number.
25:24Okay, sorry. He could be a back-end QB one.
25:27Yeah, Tyler Shuck, really solid. The Saints have been trailing on 78% of their plays so far this season.
25:32That's one of the primary reasons why Tyler Shuck has 90 passing attempts through two games.
25:36Second most going into week three, obviously. Last night, Jordan Love surpassed him.
25:40But CJ Stroud has 92. That's the only player ahead of Tyler Shuck in terms of passing attempts so far this season.
25:46Amazingly, do you know which team has played or has had the fewest percentage of snaps trailing this year?
25:51Actually, I think I know this. It's the Jets, isn't it?
25:54I think it's the Raiders. Oh, the Raiders. I think the Jets are right.
25:58Maybe I was thinking of the Raiders. But the Raiders, so the Raiders have played the Saints this week.
26:03But I think that the Raiders probably have punched a bit above their real weight.
26:07Bottom line for me is Tyler Shuck is ranked as a clear-cut starter, as Mike just said.
26:12Yeah. If the Raiders win this game, sorry, if the Saints win this game, 28-17, and Tyler Shuck throws for 274 yards,
26:18two passing touchdowns, no picks, and adds 23 rushing yards.
26:21Yes. You're like, great, here we go. Yes. Right, giddy up.
26:24That would be quick math somewhere in the range of 20, 21 fantasy points.
26:28Yep. If they win the game clean and he has a less stellar fantasy effort, we might have some questions.
26:33If they don't win the game and he has a less stellar fantasy, or if it's like once again they fall behind
26:39and he has to kind of do it in Blake Bortles' fashion, we might be having a conversation once again.
26:45But have a lot of confidence in him going into this week.
26:48Jets, by the way, ahead or tied on 95% of their offensive snaps so far this season.
26:52So what's interesting about that, too, is you're getting some good production out of like A.D.
26:57Mitchell and Garrett Wilson, and they've been leading for the most part so far.
27:01That's going to change going forward. By the way, the team that was last in that category going into this week was the Falcons at 5%.
27:08Obviously, that's going to flip on its head after dominating last night.
27:11Okay, Brock Bowers is your update. Yes. Game picks?
27:14I'm going to take the Saints in this one.
27:16Yeah, Saints. I'm in on Shuck. Yeah, he's been awesome.
27:19It's amazing that the Saints, who have both lost and won a game by the skin of their teeth, is the consensus pick.
27:25Over the 2-0 Raiders. Do you guys think, this isn't on the sheet, but we've seen with what Tyler Shuck has had
27:31to do each of the last two games, throw the ball a lot.
27:35Devon Vele has been on the flex radar. Do you think he's on the flex radar again here in Week 3 if people need to consider him?
27:42I think so. Still a good DFS play as well.
27:45Yep. Okay. Just wanted to throw it out there.
27:47Let's talk about Cardinals and 49ers. Yeah, let's do it.
27:50I give you like a blind resume for the player that I'm going to be discussing.
27:54Oh, sorry. Do your lineup blocks. Oh, lineup blocks first.
27:57Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, Mike Evans, Debo Samuel, George Kittle.
28:00The entire 49ers offense. On the other side, lineup blocks.
28:03Just Trey McBride right now. Let's start with Jeremiah Lovefield.
28:05Let's do it. Yeah, obviously the talent is amazing.
28:08He's extraterrestrial in terms of ability. Yep. And that's really the only thing that you can hang your hat on here.
28:14It's like the way in which Jeremiah Love goes off for your lineup is he turns whatever opportunities he gets into not
28:20just a lot of points, but a lot better than he has been up to this point in the very, very early stages of his career.
28:27But there are two games. He's playing 43% of the snaps.
28:30One of those was a blowout, which on paper should actually work in Jeremiah Love's favor.
28:34Right? He's a way better pass catcher than Tyler Algiers.
28:37So if they're getting smoked, you'd expect Jeremiah Love to be on the field.
28:41He's got wicked good hands. Yeah, he does. Because the first game, obviously they took care of business against the Cardinals.
28:47So 43% against the Chargers. 43% of the snaps.
28:49Not a great number. He's 37th right now amongst running backs in fantasy points per touch.
28:53So hey, you know, like there are players, we talked about this with Arande Gadsden earlier, like he could, if you told
28:59me that Arande Gadsden was getting four catches and Mark Andrews is getting four catches, I would personally probably bank on Arande
29:06Gadsden turning that into more fantasy points. Yes. Right?
29:08Yes. For Jeremiah Love, even if he gets only 12 touches, it's like, okay, well, like, is that going to lead to something consequential?
29:15We haven't seen it through two games. 25th in fantasy points per game amongst running backs.
29:19He's 33rd in total rushing attempts and 21st in reception.
29:22So if you were a Jeremiah Love skeptic coming into the season, through two games, you can victory lap.
29:27Long ways to go and a lot of optimism just because of the talent.
29:31And at some point you have to ask yourself, if you're the Cardinals, what are we doing?
29:35If we're going to, if we're more of the week two team than the week one team and we're losing big, like
29:41what was the point of not only drafting this player third overall, but making him the richest running back in NFL history and guaranteed money?
29:48Like, what's the point of doing that if you're not going to basically run that player into the ground?
29:54Um, so for now, Jeremiah Love outside my top 20 of running backs, he is a flex consideration, not a lock it in RB two.
30:00Yeah. Agreed. Uh, I did anticipate a slow star.
30:03We talked about this a lot leading up to the season.
30:06It's worse than I thought so far. I expected a little bit better, uh, specifically more big plays from him.
30:11I thought that's where it would come, even if the volume is down.
30:15Um, but I do think he's that one big game away.
30:18If he is a big play, big game goes for 130 yards, you know, and then it starts to ramp up and
30:24then it's all systems go for love as a, a backend, at least a backend RB one.
30:29So I'm hoping that we get there soon. That's going to be tricky.
30:32You're at San Francisco, obviously, but I think he's kind of a player to away from kind of getting a bigger share of the pie.
30:39We're, we're getting there, but it hasn't happened yet.
30:42It would be such a cruel fantasy fate. Sorry, Daniel.
30:44No, go ahead. Basically he gets B. John as a rookie, given the B.
30:48John got B. John by Tyler Algier. I know the end of season finished for B.
30:52John was solid, but I got rolling. Yeah. But we, I mean like his, he was whatever top nine fantasy points.
30:58All of us would agree that B. John's rookie season in the NFL fell short of our great expectations during drafts.
31:04That's fair. Uh, didn't mention that here, but really quickly because we're all out.
31:08And I'm assuming we're all out on Marvin Harrison Jr.
31:11We've decided to have a choice. Yeah. Do we even bring his name up on this podcast right now?
31:16Right now. Well, I'm not trying to bring his name up.
31:19I'm saying because we're out on him, Michael Wilson is a definitive flex.
31:22If you want to be able to use him now as the only other pass catcher other than Trey McBride.
31:28He's the preferred option is I believe his route participation is like 95% and he has exactly seven targets in both games.
31:34So he's certainly the preferred receiver at this point.
31:36Last bar of thing is that obviously the production's not good.
31:39The tape we've talked about is not good. We've now gotten to the point where like the public discourse isn't good either.
31:45Don't love like the way that Michael LaFleur is being asked about him and how he's answering it.
31:50It's just sort of like, like he's not inspiring a lot of confidence that he expects a turnaround.
31:55Yep. Yeah. It's not like he's our guy. We, yeah, we'll get it.
31:59We need to get him the ball more. It's none of that.
32:02None of that. I like that. You know, this is on me.
32:05I'm, you know, ultimately I'm the one calling plays.
32:08I got to find ways to get this dynamic playmaker.
32:11It's more like, we like what we see from our, we see, you know, it's, yeah.
32:15Hasn't been that. Hasn't been that. Anyway, just want to mention that, that I at least feel like Wilson is a flex
32:21option if you need him with where we're at.
32:24I'm Marv. For George Kittle. I just want to say this really quickly.
32:27Look good. Last week. War for 80 and a touchdown.
32:30Only five targets. Didn't get a ton. They barely threw it though.
32:33But they didn't have to because they, yeah, they played the Dolphins this week.
32:37Again, playing the Arizona Cardinals. Mike Evans. I just want to mention this.
32:41Back-to-back DNPs. This could also just be Mike Evans.
32:43Mike Evans might be the king of, I didn't practice all week and still playing the game on Sunday.
32:48So like that, there's a chance. But if Mike Evans, for some reason, because of these back-to-back DNPs doesn't play, that would
32:54give me a little bit more bump on George Kittle, even than what I already have.
32:59It's usually my job. I did. Yes, I did.
33:01We have these brand new mic stands. And Daniel.
33:04They're fantastic. I freaking love them. Thank you so much to our team for grabbing them.
33:08All right. 49ers or Cardinals in this one. Mike, you want to stick with your Jeremiah Love love and go with the Cardinals here?
33:15I still love Love, but I love the Niners in this one.
33:18Okay. All right. We are all the way across the board taking the Niners.
33:22Niners across the board. They've been excellent. Kyle Shanahan is just awesome as a coach.
33:26Before we go into the mailbag, I just want to mention we talked yesterday about the Panthers game.
33:31Jalen Coker did not practice yesterday after being limited on Wednesday.
33:34They don't like when a player goes the wrong direction.
33:37Yeah. Just want to mention it for people to keep an eye on in case they've been counting on Jalen Coker this week.
33:43I want to mention one thing in response to that that I do wonder is, so I can't recall whether the Panthers
33:49practiced some pads yesterday or not, but a lot of teams will use Thursday as their one padded practice per week.
33:55So sometimes the guys that are dealing with something, if you're going to sit them out one day during the week, Thursday is the preferred option.
34:02The padded day. Because the pads are on. It's going to be more physical.
34:06Okay. And so it looks bad for us. Like, the trajectory looks bad.
34:09Limited to DNP to be determined. But I'm hoping in the case of Jalen Coker that that might be a contributing factor.
34:15It just goes back to limited, and that was just like the day they choose to give him rest.
34:20That's what I hope. Love that. It was like, is this intermission of the pod?
34:25Because I need to step away. It's 1030. I'm allowed to get my Oasis tickets now.
34:29Okay. I was chosen. What a humble brag that was.
34:32I have to put the order in. Got approved.
34:34So I just need like 10 minutes. You guys answer questions.
34:37Answer questions. Jeez. All right. I'll take some fantasy questions here.
34:40I'm a man of the people. Diving into our chat.
34:43By the way, love our guy, Eric Moody. Follow him on social media at Eric and Moody.
34:48Heck Blends wants to know, do I stick with Diggs at the flex or start Hendo or ETN?
34:52Which is obviously Trevor. Trevor HN. Yeah, we got to work on that.
34:56Update a nickname. Diggs. I'm going. Diggs with Mariota.
34:59I know. Against Seattle. Against Seattle. I'm going to go with Travis HN.
35:02Totally begrudgingly. Yeah, I'm going that direction too. It doesn't feel good.
35:05You have to hope it's something. Maybe they're just taking it easy the first couple of weeks and they're going to ramp
35:11them up more, but it's been so disappointing. And I know Diggs kind of benefited from a couple of touchdowns last week,
35:17but now you have a new quarterback and also they're playing Seattle, which is obviously a brutal matchup.
35:22They could just get shut down in this one.
35:25So I will lean, I'll lean HN on this one.
35:28Yeah. All right. Rick Agro wants to know Kyler or Bryce Young.
35:31Guys, Bryce Young is a top 10 quarterback through the first two weeks.
35:34Kyler coming back. I'm going Bryce Young here. I am too.
35:37By one spot. Kyler coming back to your point.
35:40It's close. In Cleveland. Yeah. I want to see it.
35:43I want to see it from Kyler before I trust it as a starting quarterback.
35:47And I've seen him at 11. Five straight weeks with Bryce.
35:50Very close. Yeah. I have Kyler at 11, so I could see streaming him if you have a quarterback issue.
35:55With the things we've talked about, of course. That question, I would lean Bryce.
35:59Yep. Flying Ryan wants to know, should I drop Chris Godwin to stream Josh Downs this week?
36:04Yeah, I think so. Yes. No Alec Pierce? Also, just to keep Josh Downs going forward.
36:08He's our wide receiver one. Yeah. I have Downs closer to Ibuka than I do to Godwin, so he's up there.
36:14Yeah. Yeah. 30% target share last week. Give me that.
36:17Nathan Lord, you go with A.D. Mitchell or Josh Downs this week as well?
36:21Ooh, I'm going with A.D. Mitchell. I'm going to go with Josh Downs.
36:24I have Downs well ahead. For the guy that just asked about streaming him this week, keep in mind the Colts draw the Commanders next week.
36:31It's very early, but they seem like one of the tastier matchups for opposing quarterbacks.
36:35Seven passing touchdowns in two games allowed by the Commanders.
36:38Love that. Well, let's just talk about that game.
36:41Seahawks and Commanders, my friends. Yeah. A couple of lineup locks in this one.
36:44Jackson Smith and Jigba should never, ever, ever leave your lineup.
36:47Even on bye weeks. You should probably start him this year.
36:50Also have Terry McLaurin. Terry McLaurin's got to be the closest, closest vague lineup lock of all of week three because of the quarterback situation.
36:57I'm sticking with him. I think he's earned another week.
37:00Okay. And the targets have been there. I feel less confident there.
37:03Mike can talk about the offense in a moment.
37:06I'm going to talk about the Seahawks backfield, which was not in that lineup locks.
37:10Two games, and keep in mind that Jadarian Price got banged up in week two.
37:14They had two very different game scripts, right? Trailing against the Patriots.
37:17Yep. It's still a close game, but trailing for a lot of that game.
37:21Last week, they're playing a game in which they destroy the Cardinals.
37:24Yep. Through two games, Jadarian Price has played 41% of the snaps.
37:28Emmanuel Wilson's at 27% of the snaps. George Holani is at 33% of the snaps.
37:32Price has the most targets out of those three, but they've combined for seven targets.
37:36They've combined for four catches. The stat that I think is actually most alarming for Jadarian Price is I'm not totally surprised that they're splitting snaps.
37:43They talked about that this offseason, but the Seahawks have had nine, actually make it 10, goal-to-go rushing attempts so far this season.
37:49Half of them have gone to Emmanuel Wilson, including a sequence last week where they had three straight goal-to-go carries from the four-yard line or closer.
37:57The first went to Jadarian Price, and not because of health, just because of coach preference.
38:01He was pulled from the game, and Emmanuel Wilson got the next two.
38:04Do you guys know who scored their one rushing touchdown this season?
38:08Drew Locke. A.J. Barner. Oh, that's right. Oh, I should have got that.
38:11We've won A.J. Barner. So, Jadarian Price, I asked the question, like, what are you hanging your hat on right now for Jeremiah Love?
38:18The answer is only his great talent that maybe he turns a few opportunities into a lot.
38:23For Jadarian Price, who's banged up. Let's assume he plays, though.
38:26Yes, it's a good matchup. But is he playing a ton of snaps?
38:29Not an overwhelming number. Is he seen much in the passing game?
38:32Certainly not. Is he getting the goal-line carries? That's not a guarantee either.
38:36So, you kind of need Jadarian Price to have a super-efficient 15 carries where he finds the end zone.
38:41Like a 15 for 82 yards and a touchdown for him to really pay off.
38:45So, he's a hard guy to have inside that top 25 right now.
38:49Let me ask you guys this question. With what you've seen from the Seahawks running back through the first two weeks of
38:55the season, Zach Charbonnet is still available in 50% of leagues and IR eligible.
38:59Should he be added right now based on what you've seen?
39:02Yeah, I think so, too. And I don't have a timeline there.
39:05No, we're not putting one on there. But just based on what we've seen, unfortunately, from that Seahawks backfield is not what we saw from it last year.
39:13Yeah, so the thought with Charbonnet was like Price might just take this job and run with it, but he hasn't done that.
39:19Much like Green Bay, right? Like, none of the Marshawn Lloyd didn't step in there and just take control.
39:24Like, ah, he forced his way into a role even when Jacobs is back.
39:28The same thing in Seattle. It's just not happening so far.
39:31They're committed to this committee. And unfortunately, look, we liked Price a little more than your normal late 30-second overall pick running back.
39:37Usually those guys take a while to get going.
39:40It was a little different for Price because of the circumstances being in this offense, obviously.
39:44But yeah, when Charbonnet comes back, he's going to have a role here.
39:48Yeah, I think he needs to be added. Sam Darnold practiced in full league, I think, either again yesterday or the first time yesterday.
39:54Say again? Oh, yeah. Big role. Sam Darnold sounds like he'll play on Sunday for Seattle, which, not that I think Sam
40:01Darnold being back means Jadarian Price is going to have 19 targets over the next two games.
40:05And Drew Locke did play well last week, but maybe there's just a bit more touchdown equity for this offense with Sam Darnold back.
40:12We saw that in week one. They only scored once.
40:14So Sam Darnold being back could give the running game a bit of a boost.
40:19By the way, a lot like Jeremiah Love could be one big game, a couple big plays from Price, and then they're
40:25like, all right, you know, he's established now. He's our impact running back, and he has the job.
40:30So it could happen fast. I just want to say this really quickly.
40:33I think JSN's the new Justin Jefferson. Quarterback agnostic?
40:36The new quarterback agnostic wide receiver in the NFL.
40:38But he wasn't last year. I know. That's why.
40:41But this is this year. You're talking about Justin Jefferson.
40:43Why is JSN Justin Jefferson? Because Justin Jefferson used to be quarterback agnostic until last year, and now he's got Sam Darnold.
40:49So now that it's not him, it's JSN. Yes, he's the new quarterback agnostic.
40:53So what happens if they go to like, what if they trade for J.J.
40:57McCarthy? Is this what happens when you try to have it?
41:00This is like chat GPT having a conversation. But Justin Jefferson's not quarterback agnostic.
41:04Right. I think what Daniel was saying is. So JSN someday is going to have an awful season?
41:09No, no, no. What he was saying is JSN has taken the crown of the most quarterback agnostic wide receiver.
41:14Thank you. But it was wrong last time. Oh, wow.
41:17Okay, well, let's keep on moving. Mike, why don't you talk to us about Marcus Mariota?
41:21I sure will. Look, I look back to last season because obviously Jaden Daniels missed quite a bit of time.
41:27Mariota played seven full games. Guys, he averaged 17.1 fantasy points per game over the full season.
41:32That would have ranked 12th at quarterback. So pretty good.
41:34He is known as a guy that can make up ground with his legs, obviously, at 257 rushing yards and a touchdown in those games.
41:41But he also did it through the air pretty well last year.
41:44215 passing yards per game. Also had at least one passing touchdown in all seven of those games, which isn't always going
41:50to be the case for certainly a backup quarterback, let alone a dual threat quarterback.
41:55I think he will be a streaming option over the next few weeks.
41:58It sounds like Jaden Daniels might not go on IR.
42:01So it might only be a couple of weeks for Marcus Mariota.
42:04But he'll be on the streaming radar. I believe that they have the Colts next week.
42:09They do. Yes. Which would put him on that, you know, top 10 or 12 radar.
42:13But not this week, guys, because they're playing the CX.
42:16This isn't the week for them. The CX have allowed a total of two touchdowns and 16.3 fantasy points to Drake May and Jacoby Bursette.
42:23So this isn't the week, but maybe next week.
42:25Can you imagine when field dislocated his shoulder, Mike and I literally had to live in his basement and carry his children around for three straight weeks.
42:32And Jaden Daniels might come back in a handful of weeks.
42:35There are different. There are still times. Built different.
42:38Yeah. I mean, there are still times where my two older children are like, where's daddy?
42:42And I'm like, I'm right here. They're like, no, no.
42:45My dad with the beard. He's at work right now.
42:48I got the Seahawks. I'm taking the Seahawks in this one, too.
42:51Yeah, you have to. Man, they're so good. Let's talk Chiefs and Dolphins, my friends.
42:55This one can be quick, but also maybe a therapy session.
42:58Patrick Mahomes, Kenneth Walker III, Rashi Rice. And Travis Kelsey.
43:01We're starting everybody because you start everyone against the Dolphins.
43:04You do. Yes. For the Dolphins, Mike, for some reason, still has Devon Achan as a lineup block.
43:09Yeah, he should be. See how many touches he had last week?
43:12Yeah. Thank you, Phil. Oh, yeah. Just had a cool 20, what?
43:1525 touches and 93 yards. We're going to bench that guy?
43:18Do you get fantasy points for touches in your leagues?
43:21Do you get them for yards? Catches? Air yards.
43:23You get them only for air yards. 90 yards.
43:26Is that bad? Are we have a problem with 90 yards?
43:29I think everybody knows how Daniel and I feel about Mike's work and his efforts and his projections.
43:34One million percent. They are the best, and there's no close second.
43:37Yes. This is me coming at you as a human, not about your work.
43:41The Devon Achan was one of the more surprising projections I've seen in a while.
43:45Yeah. It's an optimistic projection. I think he is in a good spot, actually.
43:49I really do. Listen, you could be right because you're Mike Clay.
43:52You're usually right. I am less confident. I'm at running back 15.
43:56Daniel's even less confident. I'm at running back 20.
43:58I understand if you want to start somebody else over him.
44:01I would get it through the first two weeks of the season, and I don't think that I would start somebody else
44:07over him, but I understand the feelings that you have because through the first two weeks of the season, this has not been what we were promised, guys.
44:15I have an Achan team. I'm going to pull it up right now.
44:18I think it was what we promised last week.
44:21I think he'll push past 20 touches. He's playing a defense, by the way, that just gave up, what, 25 points to
44:27Jonathan Taylor, who's another really good running back that's not in a particularly good offense.
44:31I mean, the Colts offense was pretty good last week, but they haven't been near as good as they were last season.
44:37I don't think we're super afraid of that side of the ball, but I think there's enough volume here for Achan to sustain in our season.
44:44I agree with you on the volume, and we talked about this, I think, on Tuesday.
44:49That volume is king, and we know how talented he is.
44:52It is until it isn't. It is until that volume doesn't turn into the production that turns into the fantasy.
44:57I just don't agree on this one. I think you have the talent, you have the volume, and you don't have the offense.
45:03I get that, but there's a lot of teams that don't have great offenses.
45:07I mean, Atlanta's offense isn't especially good, and Robinson can get the job done.
45:11So let me ask you this question. I know it's worse than that, but it's not that much different to me.
45:17I think if he continues to get 20-plus touches, he'll be.
45:20He's getting a ton of volume, but there's no creativity.
45:23There's no get the ball in the hands of your best playmaker in space.
45:26They have not done that yet so far this year.
45:29I would rather have DeAndre Swift. I'd rather start DeAndre Swift than Devon Achan right now.
45:33Even with – Yeah. That's a good – like, he was my third running back off the board.
45:38Yes. And now playing as my second. And if I had to grab him, even though I don't love – it's against
45:44your Eagles, a really tough defense, and we've seen, unfortunately, probably a backup quarterback in Chicago.
45:49Yeah. I like DeAndre Swift with what I've seen him do in this offense more than what I like from Devon Achan
45:55because I am divorcing Devon Achan before the 2026 season from my fantasy head right now because what happened from Devon Achan
46:01in his past doesn't mean anything to me in this season.
46:04This is what they are showing me on how they're going to utilize their running back.
46:08I say Devon Achan scores more fantasy points than DeAndre Swift in week three.
46:12I say DeAndre Swift scores more fantasy points than Devon Achan in week three.
46:16Put it on the board. Yes. That was a good one.
46:19Is that our second Devon Achan board bet between you guys this week?
46:23Probably. I think it was RB14. He's my new Travis Kelsey.
46:26I think – I'm in on Travis Kelsey now.
46:28Yeah, same. We're all on the Chiefs, by the way, in this game.
46:32Do you guys think that maybe – Who's the one you're most nervous about?
46:35Of the Chiefs? Is it Rashi Rice? Rashi Rice.
46:38Yeah, for sure. Oh, yeah. I would say I'm nervous, but they can feature him this week.
46:43Agreed. We'll be right back. I don't know what's going on the first two weeks that they – It was better last
46:49week, but it was still like, nah, we need like a quarter of the targets on this guy.
46:54He's just not the extension of the running game like he was the past year.
46:58Yeah, we have to get that figured out. Really quickly, I wonder if for future board bets, the loser has to wear
47:04the helmet of the player in question. Oh, I would love that.
47:07So like if Devon HN is a top 14 running back this week, you have to wear a Dolphins helmet for like,
47:13I don't know, 10 minutes from the show or something?
47:16I'm down. Okay. Okay. Do we have helmets available?
47:18I think someone – Yeah, somewhere around here. We can find them.
47:22We can order some. I mean, Mike can expense some jerseys for us.
47:25If I lose – Yeah, if I lose this one, that's going to be punishment enough.
47:30That's going to be hurtful. Did you want to say anything on Mahomes and Kelsey, by the way, other than just – I mean, it's pretty straightforward.
47:37They were terrific last season. Mahomes has been excellent out of the gate.
47:40It was Travis Kelsey's best fantasy outing since week seven of 2023.
47:44That's how good last week was his first 100-yard game since week nine of 2024.
47:48So it's actually been a long time since we saw a game of that level from him, but I expect him to
47:54continue to be at worst a mid-range tight end one.
47:57And by the way, they're playing Miami, who – The only concern here is they're not throwing much.
48:02But last week, 28.5 fantasy points from Brock Purdy against this defense, 18 by George Kittle against this defense.
48:07So I wouldn't be super worried about that. They'll be okay.
48:10Liz Lowe's and I talked about Emmitt Johnson on Facts vs.
48:13Feelings this week, someone that if anything happens to Ken Walker should at least be on the radar with where things are at.
48:19We thought last week maybe with Kalon Black that maybe there might be something, right, if they get up early.
48:25Didn't really see it. Probably the same situation right now with Emmitt Johnson, but a name to keep on your radar as well.
48:31By the way, check out Facts vs. Feelings out right now.
48:34I don't think Emmitt will have standalone value, but the commentary this week from the Chiefs was essentially like, okay, we had fun with our new toy.
48:41We have to roll back Walker a little bit.
48:44We can't keep giving him 25-plus touches. It's too much.
48:47So that makes sense. I'm taking the Chiefs. Fields taking the Chiefs.
48:50Producers taking the Chiefs. Mike is taking the Chiefs.
48:52Chiefs. All right, we got two games left. Let's do it.

50:28Is there a chance that Devontae Adams is, again, 24 years old in this one?
50:32Maybe. He's a lineup block. Yeah, Pukunikua has been removed from the projections by me.
50:36Yeah, he's out. Yes. Well, he hasn't been ruled out, but he's out of the projections.
50:41So not a lineup block. It is just Kyron Williams and Devontae Adams.
50:44On the other side, Jalen Waddell, who we saw last week, look good.
50:48I want to ask Mike about something in a moment.
50:51Let's just give you the nitty-gritty from this past week.
50:53You know the numbers. Eight catches, 195 yards. Looks so good.
50:56Two touchdowns for Devontae Adams. Slightly deeper, he had 10 of Matthew Stafford's 31 targets.
51:00A 32% target share. May not matter who you're playing.
51:03Like, you kind of have to have a 32% target share in your lineup.
51:07The number is pretty significant, though, in the projection, Mike.
51:10How much, if at all, would you anticipate Devontae Adams seeing Patrick Sergain?
51:13Yeah, I think he's going to see Sertan plenty in this one, which is a little bit of a concern.
51:19But the Broncos, I feel like, haven't been quite as shut down so far this season.
51:23So it concerns me. But, again, his target share is substantially lower than where it was last week.
51:28And keep in mind that Devontae Adams also had, with the game Puka Nukuomis last year, had three touchdowns in that game as well.
51:35So the way they utilize him, his skill level, how good this offense is, I feel like it could be a more
51:41inefficient day, a lower target share, and he's still going to deliver top 10, top 12 numbers.
51:45So it's just hard to go much lower than 10, I feel like, with Devontae Adams.
51:50The ranks, if you're looking at me, I look sort of concerned right now.
51:54The ranks just flashed, and it had you at 7.
51:56It had me and Daniel in the low 20s.
51:59I thought when I pulled Puka Nukuomis, I had jacked Devontae Adams up, but I could be wrong.
52:04You did. We both did. So this must have, it was just pulled, because our Thursday night stuff is wonky sometimes.
52:10It takes a while once you pull them from the projections.
52:13Field and I are both a little bit higher, but we're not as high as 7, but you were at 10.
52:18Okay, yeah. I was going to say, I thought I had him way, way up there.
52:23Five touchdowns in two games with Niko out. I just want to make sure people are like wide receiver 23, which these rankings are constantly being toyed with.
52:30So it could be as simple as someone pulls the ranks before Daniel and I have had a chance to adjust it.
52:36Obviously, Mike is doing things in real time because he is the one that is making the projections.
52:41That's right. I think the bottom line, though, is whether you have him wide receiver 1 or 20, you're starting him.
52:47I mean, he's the clear number one target for Matthew Stafford.
52:50I don't really care who's on the other side of the field.
52:53I'm not really worried about a major dud game.
52:56I mean, they're going to try to run the passing game through this guy.
53:00They're going to have to again. Do you think that Terrence Ferguson rolls it back?
53:04Your guy? Yep. He moved way up in the projections and rankings as well.
53:08I put him one spot ahead of Dalton Schultz.
53:10That's where he fell in the projections as well.
53:13So borderline top 10. I don't think he's a sure thing yet, but also Colby Parkinson's a little beat up, so that
53:19clears his path even a little bit further. But after the way he was utilized last week, he should be a featured,
53:25probably maybe their number two target in this game.
53:27I want to ask you, Mike, about a player that through two games has been disappointing in fantasy, disappointing in real life,
53:33candidly, and he was one of the trendier like, wow, we're not talking enough about this quarterback.
53:38Yeah, guilty. In the preseason, Bo Nix. Hasn't looked good.
53:41Yeah, it has not been good so far. He did make some progress from a major dud in week one to week two at 14 points last week.
53:48The problem right now is a total of two touchdowns, obviously, but just eight rushing yards, which is a big change for him.
53:55But here's the bottom line. Very Daniel Jones of him.
53:57I don't... Very Daniel Jones of him. Very much so.
54:00But here's the thing. He's entering his year three.
54:03His supporting cast is better. And he was top 10 in fantasy points per game each of his first two seasons in the league.
54:09I don't think... I think the rushing will come back.
54:12I don't think this is like... You know, remember, he had that injury.
54:15His season ended in the playoffs last year. I don't think it's an extension of that.
54:20The guy can still run the football. So I think once he starts doing that and the offense continues to progress like
54:26it did last week, he'll be okay. So he's QB 14 for this week against a good Rams defense.
54:31So I'm not starting him quite yet, but I think we'll get back into that back-end QB 1 conversation at some point.
54:37Not panicking on him. I'm a little bit more concerned probably on the potential for wide receiver two or three production for Cortland Sutton, however.
54:44Yeah. Just 36 yards on nine targets. His 16% target share is his lowest since his rookie season in 2018.
54:49He is still a full-time player. His route participation is over 80%.
54:53I think a concern this week is he's probably going to see a lot of Trent McDuffie on the perimeter who, of course...
54:59That's what he did last week, right? Yeah. The Rams acquired him from the Chiefs in the offseason.
55:04So Sutton's familiar with him, of course. But he's going to see him in this game, whereas Jalen Waddell is going to
55:10move around more, be in the slot. He won't see him quite as much.
55:14So it's a tough spot, but I do believe in the talent.
55:17I think Sutton will have some better days, but I think his...
55:20Kind of his median, where he's been the last couple years, is the number one in that offense is now a little bit lower.
55:27Probably more of a flex than anything. So I don't love the start here.
55:31I'm with you there. I'm wide receiver 49 for Cortland Sutton.
55:34Cortland Sutton feels like the guy that I will be using once bye weeks come around, and I need someone that I
55:40know is a good player, but hopefully this offense starts clicking, because right now he has not seen my starting lineup.
55:46Who are you taking to this one? Rams or Broncos?
55:48I might be on an island here. I got the Broncos.
55:51Wow. Oh, you're going Broncos? Really? I'm going the Rams in this one.
55:55Give me the Rams. Give me the Rams. Producers going Broncos as well.
55:59I'd feel better if they had a healthy defense, but we'll go Rams.
56:02I think this name is... Nuku and Garrett out.
56:05That hurts. Sunday Night Football, it's in Denver. It's a tough place to play.
56:08That is a tough place to play. It's a pretty good game.
56:12That means Harrison Meeves is going to kick a 75-yarder.
56:14I hope so. I hope he has that in.
56:17He's off to a slow start, too. We've got to get him rolling.
56:21He's got a lot in him. I wouldn't rule it out.
56:24Did you just call a kicker a fun player?
56:26Yeah. He's awesome. He doesn't look like your conventional kicker.
56:29He is the thicker kicker. He is the thicker kicker.
56:31He's fun. That's fun. That's fair. Let's talk Eagles-Bears, guys.
56:34Monday Night Football. How come all the lineup blocks are only Philadelphia Eagles?
56:38Because I'm biased, obviously. Jaylen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, Devonta Smith.
56:41Right now, none of the Bears technically show up on this list.
56:44I disagree with that a little bit. Interesting. Interesting.
56:46I'd like to hear more about that. Talk to us.
56:49Yeah. Can you bench all the Bears? No, you cannot.
56:52But part of that is because we just did a board bet.
56:55I would be starting DeAndre Swift this week. Okay.
56:58DeAndre Swift is still a must start given the running back position and the way that through the first two weeks of
57:04offensive struggles, he's been the only guy that has shown you the production.
57:07So even though we expect it to be a tough one, I'm still starting him this week.
57:12I don't know if you can start Roma Dunze or Luther Vernon.
57:15Okay. I'm fully okay if you decide with, again, what we know is going to be a backup quarterback situation.
57:21We're not sure which one yet, but we know it's not going to be Caleb Williams.
57:25With the way that we have seen enough people come on through the start of the season, you hopefully have a flex
57:31option that is better than either Luther Burden or Roma Dunze that has a better quarterback situation or a better defense to play against.
57:38And I think I want to give you permission to not play either one of them this week.
57:43Are you guys on the same page as me?
57:45I would agree that you don't. Certainly they're not lineup blocks as I just showed in the graphic.
57:50But once you get to, we talked about this earlier in the week, like you get through 17, 18, like Jalen Waddell, T.
57:56Higgins in our rankings center, you're like, kind of becomes a free for all.
58:00So I think you can make a case that like, eh, I'm going to go with Burden, you know, or yeah, I'm
58:06going to take a shot at a Dunze and hope he sees six targets and scores a touchdown.
58:11But certainly not lineup blocks. They're in that mix.
58:14They're in that conversation in this gigantic tier of kind of messy, volatile receivers, but certainly not lineup blocks.
58:19Let me ask you guys this question. Do it.
58:21First two weeks of the season. We've seen Denzel Boston look really good.
58:25Would you rather play Denzel Boston or one of these Bears wide receivers in week three?
58:29I want to do one thing. Probably. I think I have Boston higher than, certainly higher than Odunze.
58:34Let's see. I have Burden and then at 32, I have Boston at 33, and then I'm much lower on Odunze because he's also been a limit.
58:41So they're right there next to each other. Yes, that's a close call.
58:45I would agree. I was going to flag this.
58:48It does not apply to the Bears, Eagles, a game.
58:50It looks like it's going to be a beautiful night in Chicago.
58:54One thing that will influence some flex considerations, it's going to influence us for sure.
58:58Yes. We have a massive rainstorm coming to the Northeast.
59:00Big nor'easter. Huge. Looks like the most impacted game is going to be the Giants-Titans game is in, yeah, it's definitely in New York.
59:07It's in New York. Because the Titans have played two straight home games to start.
59:11We have a game in D.C. We have a game in New York.
59:15I just looked at the East Rutherford, which is where, of course, the Giants play their game.
59:19Leveland has a game. I don't know. We currently have...
59:22It's supposed to start raining before 6 a.m. on Saturday morning in East Rutherford and stop raining at 1 p.m.
59:28on Monday. Oof. Non-stop. We're going to get like 55 straight hours of rain.
59:31Sloppy wet fields is what it sounds like. And the hardest it looks like it's going to fall is Sunday.
59:37So we'll talk about the pass catchers, mostly the Giants, because obviously the Titans don't have anybody that we are considering starting right now.
59:43But East Rutherford is about to get very wet, as is the case here in Connecticut.
59:48The Patriots play down, play away. The Jets play away.
59:51So the Jets play in Detroit where there's no weather concerns ever.
59:54Where can we give updates on the weather? Fantasy Focus Countdown.
59:57Sunday. ESPN2. All right. I'll tune in. Love that.
59:59All right. For this one, I am taking the Eagles.
60:02Field is taking the Eagles. Mike is taking the Bengals.
60:05The Bengals? What? That's the wrong team. I'm taking the Bears.
60:08And then the... You're taking the Bears? How about it?
60:11No, you're not. I have the Eagles. Yeah. Upset City here.
60:14Upset City. I like it. Eagles have something to prove to me still.
60:17I agree 100% with that. Totally agree. If they can't beat Case Keenum, we have some more questions.
60:22Without going into too much detail, I'm going into a doctor's office on Tuesday for something.
60:27And doctor... You need me to drive you there?
60:29No, I'm actually good. I was told I can take myself to and from.
60:33Okay. Doctor is a huge Eagles fan. Oh, okay.
60:35You're hoping the Eagles win, so he's in a good mood is what you're saying.
60:39Devonta Smith... Best of luck. Didn't practice. But with it being a Monday game, obviously everything is pushed back a week.
60:45Just wanted to mention that for you to watch over the weekend.
60:48Ironically, Saquon Barkley is like the only guy that did practice in the Eagles' backfield.
60:53So we'll have many more updates on that. Not just Sunday, but also Monday if need be.
60:57Let's do our starts of the week here for week three, my friends.
61:01I'm going to start if you guys don't mind, because I came in last place by a lot.
61:06Last week. I'm pretty sure that if you took my first week and second week combined, it still didn't beat you guys
61:12in week two, because you guys crushed me so much.
61:15I had a bad week one, so I'm not going to...
61:18Was it so bad it feels just like ripping hair out of your skin or something?
61:22That's exactly what it feels like. Come back next week, you'll see me wax my leg as a part of this punishment.
61:28We'll do that on the show? No, I think we're going to record it, but we'll watch it live.
61:33We'll watch it live. Here's my starts of the week this week.
61:36Guys, at the quarterback spot, I'm going with Patrick Mahomes, because you had me at the Dolphins.
61:41They are really good. My running back is Chuba Hubbard, with Jonathan Brooks being out, AJ Dillon being the other guy there.
61:47He should be the lone back in that backfield for wide receiver Chris Olave.
61:51Him and Tyler Shuck just look so good. He's getting boatloads of volume.
61:55I am following that, and we get points for volume, obviously, in leagues.
61:58And then at tight end, I am going with Dalton Kincaid.
62:01I am following the hot start. That is a good-looking line at Mahomes.
62:05Hubbard, Olave, and Kincaid. You have three guys currently top five, I believe, in fantasy points at their position.
62:10This is what helps when you come in last place the week before.
62:14It definitely gives you a little bit of a bump.
62:16I think our order is determined. We just go through a rotation, right?
62:20It's all a draft. Yeah. But you get to pick first.
62:23And then you picked first. I think you took Mahomes first or Olave?
62:26I did Mahomes first. Remember, you can only use these guys one time all season.
62:31So you're using up a lot of your star power here in week three.
62:34My big guys. Do you want it, Mike? Sure.
62:37I'll go number two here. Yeah, because I finished second, right?
62:40You were first. Yes. All right. I'm going with the battery, Daniel.
62:43No. No. Brock Purdy, George Kittle. Great start for these guys, especially Kittle kind of ramping up last week.
62:48Purdy is settling in as one of the league's just most effective ho-hum quarterbacks in the NFL.
62:53He just continues to get the job done each and every week.
62:56They get Arizona. Good matchup here. I like them both in DFS.
63:00I like them here in starts of the week.
63:02So I'm going to live or die with those two.
63:05If it goes bad this week, I'm going to be in last place.
63:08So it's risky. Speaking of risks, I felt like if there is a week to use Quinshawn Judkins, it is now at home against Carolina.
63:15This is a money where my mouth is sort of moved with Judkins.
63:19I said, I think week three is the one he gets going that Carolina has been lit up by running back so far this season.
63:26If it doesn't happen now, it's going to burn me here and it's going to make him unplayable in fantasy football.
63:31And I'm going to stick with that game. Terrell McMillan playing at the Browns, other side of that game.
63:37Again, he's been off to a pretty solid start.
63:39Lots of volume. That offense is playing well. We believe in Bryce Young as a back-end fantasy quarterback.
63:44So if we believe in that, we believe in his top receiver, Teddero McMillan.
63:48Jayla Coker, by the way, resting a little bit in practice throughout the week.
63:52But it sounds like that's just kind of taking care of his health there and he should be on the field.
63:57So Purdy Judkins, McMillan, Kittle. We talked about Coker.
64:00Yeah. I said, thanks, Matthew. I mentioned it earlier when we were in the mailbag, but I'm sure that you were.
64:06People weren't listening. I know. I know. Clearly. Clearly people weren't listening.
64:09Field. My start's the week. Yeah. I got to be honest.
64:12My Daniels lineup looks awesome. I'm a little nervous already.
64:15My quarterback. I really don't want to come in.
64:17I'm going to wax my leg. I don't want to come in last place again.
64:21That's part of the strategy. You can like, I'm going to pay up a little bit more.
64:26Use up some of them top guys to avoid finishing last.
64:29By week 17. We're all going to be starting.
64:31Oh, it's going to be terrible. My quarterback is Tyler Shuck this week.
64:35Talked about him against the Raiders earlier on. I'm riding the Bucky Irving train at running back.
64:40Okay. I think there's a chance this backfield levels off.
64:42I feel like that's coming later in the year than this week.
64:46Bucky Irving is my running back. Garrett Wilson. I talked about him earlier on.
64:50Mike just said. I thought you were excluded from using it.
64:53Money where his mouth is. Same for me. And then, yeah.
64:56What's old is new again. The man with more yards after the catch than any player in the NFL this season.
65:01Yes, sir. Travis Kelsey is my tight end of the week.
65:04You know, the cool thing about starts of the week is it's a little bit like a tournament lineup for DFS where,
65:10like, if I want to take a shot, like, for example, A.D.
65:14Mitchell. If I think that there's something there, I'm not going to probably use A.D.
65:18Mitchell the rest of the week. But if I like his lineup or I like his matchup, this is a week to
65:24use him because then I save a superstar for somewhere else in week 15.
65:28Honestly, you should probably put A.D. Mitchell in over Chris Olave.
65:31Over Chris Olave? You want me to do that?
65:33You can stop him in. All right. All right.
65:36We'll think about it. Hey, that's going to do it for us today, guys.
65:39Come watch us on Fantasy Focus Countdown on Sunday.
65:42But first, yeah, let's do this. Mr. A.N.C. Yes.
65:44Did Clay get his Oasis tickets? That must have been what we were talking about.
65:49That was it. That was why. It's still in the queue.
65:52So we're still waiting. Still in the queue. How long?
65:54Megan's working on it. Actually, in reality, she's working on it.
65:57But yeah, we're in the queue. Is queue a British word?
66:00I don't know. I don't know. It's not spelled Q.
66:03It's U-U-E-U-E. Yeah. It's always like, rather than get in line, it's like getting the queue.
66:07You know? But we don't say that. Favorite Oasis song ever?
66:10Wonderwall. Yeah. Got to be Wonderwall. Wow. Our producer, Dave.
66:13Oasis is a British band, right? Yes. I do love Wonderwall.
66:16Champagne Supernova. Champagne Supernova. That's a good one. Probably.
66:19I'm not a Deep Cuts Oasis fan, to be honest.
66:21Me neither. That's the thing. But I do genuinely like Wonderwall.
66:24It's not just because it's their most popular song.
66:27Guys, I'm going to see Thrice Saves the Day and Taking Back Sunday on Saturday.
66:31Someone come and hang out with me so that we can do it.
66:35It's going to be a blast. It's going to be a ton of fun.
66:38Enjoy. Have fun. And you guys will see each other some other time at another show.
66:43We'll talk about that more. Dan and Shay. We're going partying this weekend.
66:46We'll see you guys on ESPN2 Sunday morning at 10 a.m.
66:49for Fantasy Focus Countdown. Don't forget to love each other and be kind to yourself.
66:54You deserve it. We love you guys. We'll see you on Sunday.
66:57Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss.
67:00It started with a kickoff. Or perhaps it was love at first hike.
67:03But unfortunately, many of these football lovers don't live in the same city as their team.
67:08Which is why Marriott Bonvoy has hotels close to nearly every NFL stadium.
67:11Bringing fans closer to the teams they love with over 30 different hotel brands.
67:15So if you want to stay closer to your team, check in for game day with Marriott Bonvoy.
67:20The official sponsor of the NFL. We'll see you there.
67:23We'll be right back. Bye.
