Blake Corum

NegativeRole7:05

The source notes that while Blake Corum remains a player that needs to be on rosters in fantasy football from a rushing perspective, he will not generate the receiving volume that Kyron Williams does; Corum lacks the 13-target receiving upside that distinguishes Williams in the Rams backfield.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeInjury10:26

Caleb Williams remains sidelined; the source notes that he had multiple rushing touchdowns in week one, establishing that the Bears offense has been distributing rushing touchdowns across multiple players rather than concentrating them with the expected primary targets.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveUsage2:14

CeeDee Lamb had 17 catches (most by any player since Keenan Allen in 2023) on 21 targets for 189 yards and one touchdown, totaling 41.3 fantasy points in Week 4. The source notes he was an absolute ball hog in the game and continues to ascend, establishing him as the clear WR1 in Dallas over George Pickens.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup5:32

CeeDee Lamb benefited from the Texans secondary being more generous than anticipated heading into the season; the source cites Lamb's prior-week production as evidence that the Texans defense has been vulnerable to receiving threats.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeBust26:00

McCaffrey has become touchdown-dependent; in week four he posted 15 carries for 52 yards and a rushing touchdown, three receptions for 18 yards, and 16 fantasy points on only five targets; he entered the season with a career-low 3.9 yards per carry in 2025, and his efficiency remains poor (15 carries for 52 yards in week four); he has four rushing touchdowns in four weeks, all one-yard scores with no big plays; the source recommends selling before he faces Seattle's elite defense in week five and efficiency wanes further, especially given he was drafted around the fifth overall pick but is currently RB8 on the season.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveRole6:31

Expected to be a primary target in the Chicago offense early in the season, but has not materialized as the volume source the source anticipated; the offense is scoring multiple touchdowns on the regular, but not through Loveland or the other 'big three' in Chicago as hoped.

Insight page
NegativeRole10:20

The source notes that while Colston Loveland was expected to be part of the 'big three' in Chicago to receive multiple rushing touchdowns, he has not been the beneficiary of that volume; instead, multiple other Bears players (Kyle Manungay, DeAndre Swift, Caleb Williams) have scored multiple rushing touchdowns, suggesting Loveland has not captured the expected role.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeInjury27:42

Moore re-aggravated the shoulder injury that sidelined him in week two; despite Christian Gonzalez being sidelined in week four, Moore did not have a big game, and his status will be monitored.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeUsage9:15

DeAndre Swift fumbled in week four, which shifted the backfield dynamic in favor of Kyle Manungay; Swift was out-snapped 47 to 29 by Manungay for the first time all season, signaling a potential role reduction following the turnover.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

NegativeBust33:53

Despite DJ Moore being out, Kincaid was underutilized with only one catch for seven yards on two targets for 1.7 fantasy points in week four; this continues a troubling pattern—after scoring 18 fantasy points in week one and 22 in week two, he has posted back-to-back weeks under four fantasy points in weeks three and four, both without Moore in the lineup.

Insight page

Daniel Jones

NegativeProjection10:15

Daniel Jones scored a rushing touchdown worth six fantasy points but finished with only 7.2 total fantasy points in Week 4, reflecting limited overall production despite the touchdown.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeProjection13:23

Drake May scored 26 fantasy points in Week 4 but had scored under 10 fantasy points in three straight weeks prior, giving fantasy managers reason to doubt whether they should start him. The source did not feel confident about starting Drake May despite the Week 4 spike, and notes that most fantasy managers felt the same way rightfully so.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveRole24:00

With Jadarian Price ruled out and on injured reserve, Wilson stepped into the featured Seahawks running back role in week four, posting 21 carries, 81 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown, three catches for 39 yards, and one receiving touchdown for 27 fantasy points; he led the team in rush attempts (32 total on the season) and red-zone carries (five), making him the back to target for touchdown chasing in this backfield.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeRole2:28

George Pickens had a couple of clutch plays in Week 4 but was much more important for real football than for fantasy purposes, with CeeDee Lamb clearly established as the primary target in Dallas.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeInjury27:12

Chase exited week four with a concussion and is expected to be monitored throughout the week.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeInjury24:00

The first-round draft pick, touted as potentially the best RB2 in football due to the elite Seahawks running back role, has been placed on injured reserve after failing to produce through the first four weeks of the season; the role the source advocated for exists in Seattle's offense, but Price was unable to capitalize on it.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveUsage0:00

Williams earned seven receiving points in week four against Tampa Bay, demonstrating dual-threat production; the source notes that Javante Williams managers should feel good after week four, particularly given that he achieved this production against a Texans secondary that has proven more generous than anticipated and a run defense that had been stout, yet Williams continues to produce.

Insight page
PositiveUsage3:04

Javante Williams scored three touchdowns with 62 rushing yards and five catches for 21 receiving yards, totaling 31.3 fantasy points in Week 4. The source emphasizes the value of his receiving production (seven points) alongside the three TDs, noting he crushed this matchup and faces Tampa Bay next week.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveInjury31:26

Daniels is expected to return in week five after missing time with an injury.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveProjection8:55

Jonathan Taylor scored 22.7 fantasy points in week four on 20 carries, 95 rushing yards, and two touchdowns; he has now posted at least 22 fantasy points in three of four weeks this season, including against tough defenses like Baltimore and Kansas City; the source views him as the most reliable fantasy asset from the Colts offense, especially with the passing game struggling without Alec Pierce and Keenan Allen.

Insight page
PositiveUsage9:57

Jonathan Taylor continues to dominate the Colts ground game; the passing game was not clicking in Week 4, so the offense ran it all through the ground, with Taylor getting the bulk of carries. He is traveling to Pittsburgh from London for Week 5, facing a Steelers defense that gave up two different scores to the running back position on Thursday night.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeUsage9:39

Josh Downs scored fewer than five fantasy points in week four without Alec Pierce and Keenan Allen in the lineup; the Colts' passing game was not clicking, forcing the offense to rely on the ground game instead.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveUsage5:59

Kyron Williams posted 16 carries for 80 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns plus 10 receptions on 13 targets for 66 receiving yards, totaling 36.6 fantasy points in week four; the source emphasizes that even with Puka Nakua back, Williams' receiving volume (13 targets) is exceptional and distinguishes him from Blake Corum, who will not generate that level of receiving production.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeInjury12:26

Lamar Jackson got banged up in Week 4 for the Ravens; the source notes this will be discussed later in the show, indicating a potential injury concern heading forward.

Insight page
NegativeInjury28:07

Jackson was producing at a high level (approximately 18 fantasy points) when he left week four with an ankle issue; he was seen wearing a walking boot on his left foot after the game.

Insight page

Marcus Mariota

NegativeInjury31:26

Mariota left the game in London on the second drive with a knee issue; Jaden Daniels is expected back in week five, and Mariota would likely not play if Daniels cannot start.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveProjection10:47

Nico Collins returned from injury and delivered an outstanding performance: 7 catches, 118 yards, 2 touchdowns, over 30 fantasy points in Week 4. He extended his streak to 11 consecutive games played with 50+ receiving yards, the longest streak in the NFL. Despite lower body issues during this stretch, he remains the clear focal point of the Texans passing game; the source characterizes it as 'Nico or bust' from a wide receiver standpoint for Houston.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeDepth Chart7:00

Puka Nakua returned to the Rams lineup in week four; the source notes his return in context of Kyron Williams' exceptional 13-target receiving volume, suggesting that even with Nakua back, Williams maintains elite receiving production.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeInjury28:40

Rice left the Chiefs game very early in week four with a hamstring issue.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury32:28

Barkley entered the medical tent during the first quarter of the Eagles' week four game against the Rams and did not return; his injury comes as a significant blow to the Eagles offense.

Insight page

Seth McGowan

NegativeUsage9:52

Seth McGowan got a couple of carries in Week 4 for the Colts, which was noted as interesting given the team's ground-focused approach when the passing game was not clicking.

Insight page
NegativeUsage9:55

Seth McGowan received a couple of carries in week four, indicating some backup running back usage in the Colts offense, though Jonathan Taylor remained the primary ball carrier.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeInjury32:49

Bigsby left the Eagles game in the fourth quarter with an undisclosed injury.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveBreakout27:12

With Jamar Chase sidelined by concussion in week four, Higgins stepped up and has now recorded 20 or more fantasy points in back-to-back games; he faces Miami in week five, a favorable matchup.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveRole9:15

The source had hoped Tyler Warren would become a primary receiving target in the Colts offense, but the receiving game has not played out as expected, limiting his fantasy upside.

Insight page
NegativeProjection10:26

Tyler Warren, the Colts tight end, is not playing out the way hoped; the source notes that everything about the Indianapolis Colts team right now, including Tyler Warren, is underperforming expectations.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveSleeper28:47

With both Rasheed Rice and Taequann Thornton exiting the Chiefs game with injuries, Xavier Worthy is expected to be a waiver-wire pickup and a target for week five if neither Rice nor Thornton can play.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeRole25:00

Still not ready to return from injury, Charbonnet's timeline remains unclear; Emmanuel Wilson's strong performance in week four may allow the Seahawks to slow-play Charbonnet's return without urgency, unlike if Price had maintained efficiency.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveProjection11:27

Zay Flowers is a legitimate wide receiver one for the Ravens; he posted 10 targets, 8 catches, 118 yards, and 25.8 fantasy points in Week 4. He has cleared 25 fantasy points in 2 of 3 weeks played (Week 1 he left early with injury, Week 3 in Brazil he was on limited snap count in midfield conditions). Despite some lingering scar tissue from his boom-bust early career, he has changed since signing his new deal in 2026 and is now scoring touchdowns consistently. The source emphasizes starting him regardless of injury designation if he is on the field, as he will produce at a WR1 level.

0:53Welcome into Fantasy Focus Football Monday morning rapid reaction.
0:56My name is Daniel Dopp alongside Liz Loza. Liz, how are you doing right now?
1:01I'm good, but man, everything we thought was up is in fact down.
1:05I think this week, to me, the takeaway immediately in terms of a feeling is patience.
1:10A lot of people that we had written off started to come to life a little bit.
1:16Now we have to decide this is the fun part and you and the rest of the focus crew will do this throughout the week.
1:24How much of it is real and how much of it is a mirage?
1:28Yeah, we're four weeks in the sample size is big enough now that we can kind of take a full look at
1:36everything that we've seen from a player. But with that, Liz, right now, we are just going to talk about the week four games.
1:43I'm with you. Make sure you hang out with us the entirety of the weekend and hang out with Liz and I
1:50on facts versus feelings, which will come out every single Thursday throughout the season.
1:55But tonight we're going to do a rapid reaction.
1:58Liz and I are recording this while I have the Sunday night football game on in front of me.
2:04Amon Ross St. Brown is currently on my screen, Liz, which means I'm sure you're also watching this game.
2:10But let's dive into everything that is week four from the NFL slate.
2:14Boy, that escalated quickly. I mean, that really got out of hand fast.
2:19The first player from WCF, Liz, what the fantasy?
2:21CeeDee Lamb had 17 catches, 17 catches, not targets, 17 catches for 189 yards, one touchdown and 21 targets, 41.3 fantasy points.
2:29This dude was unbelievable. There is no like question about the wide receiver one in Dallas between him and George Pickens.
2:35It's clearly CeeDee Lamb like he is him in this situation.
2:39100 percent. I mean, for context, his 17 catches are the most by any player since Keenan Allen in 2023.
2:45He was an absolute ball hog in this game.
2:48You mentioned George Pickens. He had a couple of clutch plays, but much more important for real football than for fantasy.
2:55CeeDee Lamb continues to ascend and he is getting fed.
2:58Yes, he is. He is unbelievable. Unbelievable. Let's also talk about a couple of running backs with hat tricks.
3:04Liz Loza, Javante Williams found the end zone three times.
3:08Another cowboy. Yeah. 62 yards and three touchdowns. Plus, here's the great part.
3:12Five catches for 21 yards, 31.3 fantasy points. I love the three touchdowns, but I also love the seven points from the receiving game for Javante Williams.
3:21Absolutely crushed in this one. Taking on Tampa Bay next week.
3:24If you are a Javante Williams manager, you're feeling good here after week four.
3:29I also love that he did this in this matchup.
3:32Now, we've learned that the Texans secondary much more generous than we were anticipating heading into the season as evidenced by CeeDee Lamb and the prior weeks.
3:41We'll get into those stats a little bit, but also the run defense for the Texans had been pretty stout.
3:47And yet, Javante Williams continues to truck. This Dallas Cowboys offense is finding a groove and these two players are benefiting tremendously from it.
3:55There's also, you mentioned two running backs that had a hat trick.
3:59Should we move on to Kyron Williams of the Los Angeles Rams?
4:0316 carries for 80 rushing yards and two rushing scores.
4:06Plus, you mentioned it with Javante Williams. We love extra production through the air.
4:10Williams converted 10 of 13 for 66 receiving yards and that got him 36.6 fantasy points.
4:15I'm sorry. Did you say 10 of 13? He had 13 targets and 10 receptions.
4:20With Puka Nakua back. That's unbelievable. I mean, this is one of the things.
4:25You and I were both in on Blake Corum to start the season.
4:29I still am in on Blake Corum as a guy that needs to be on rosters in fantasy football.
4:35From a rushing perspective, sure. Yes, but the one thing that Blake Corum will not do is this.
4:41He will not get 13 targets in the receiving game the way that Kyron Williams does.
4:46Unbelievable game from him. Two hat tricks. By the way, Liz, do you know where the term hat trick comes from?
4:53Hockey. Everyone thinks it came from hockey, but no.
4:56Our producer, David Presley, definitely knows that it came from...
4:59No, it is not even soccer, which is called football.
5:02In 1958, excuse me, 1858, a bowler named H.H.
5:05Stevenson took three consecutive wickets with three successive deliveries in a match in Sheffield, England.
5:10And impressed fans took up a collection to buy the cricket player Stevenson a hat, H.H.
5:15Stevenson, as a brand new prize, which is where the term hat trick came from.
5:20So it actually came from cricket. What in the Willy Wonka are you talking about?
5:25I had no idea. I thought it was a hockey thing.
5:28I always thought hat tricks was a hockey thing.
5:31I had no idea. It came from cricket. Just another thing that we found out.
5:36By the way, I hope they didn't steal bowling, but we have an unbelievable Pete Weber player of the week this week, Liz Loza.
5:44Excellent transition. Are you kidding me? Kyle Manungay. Holy smokes.
5:47Take a bow, Liz. Part of this happened, 30 carries, 146 yards and two touchdowns, one catch for four yards, 28 total fantasy points.
5:55A big part of this was because DeAndre Swift fumbled in this game, and it kind of felt like the shifts turned there in that backfield.
6:03Kyle Manungay, unbelievable, though, this week here in week four.
6:07Well, he did Manungay out snap DeAndre Swift, 47 to 29.
6:10That was the first time that happened all this season.
6:13And here's a little fun fact about Manungay. And frankly, you could extrapolate it out to the rest of the Bears offense.
6:20Manungay was the third different Bears player with multiple rushing scores in a game this season.
6:26The aforementioned DeAndre Swift and Caleb Williams, who remain sidelined, each had multiple rushing touchdowns in week one.
6:31So we know that while we really hoped it was going to be Colston Loveland or one of the, quote, big three
6:39in Chicago to get that sort of volume, that someone in this offense is scoring multiple touchdowns on the regular.
6:45Yeah, it just feels like it hasn't been the guys that we thought it was going to be to start the season, Liz Loza.
6:53I feel like a lot of... Like you flexed Manungay because of the...
6:57Of course. Remember we had a DM, somebody called into fantasy therapy on facts versus feelings looking for a flex question.
7:04And we both agreed that you should flex Manungay because of the upside.
7:08And here it showed up. Here it showed up absolutely this week.

7:34Taking a quick break to chat about choosing the best tool for the job.
7:38When the pressure's on, you find out what's really built for the moment.
7:43That's true late in the fourth quarter of a big game, and it's true when there's work to get done on a deadline.
7:50On the job site, conditions change. The clock keeps moving, and the tools you reach for have to be ready to handle it again and again.
7:58That's why DeWalt tests its tools under real-world conditions that push even the best tools to their limit.

8:20Many people's first serious relationship didn't start with a kiss.
8:23It started with a kickoff. Or perhaps it was love at first hike.
8:27But unfortunately, many of these football lovers don't live in the same city as their team.
8:33Which is why Marriott Bonvoy has hotels close to nearly every NFL stadium.
8:37Bringing fans closer to the teams they love with over 30 different hotel brands.
8:41So if you want to stay closer to your team, check in for game day with Marriott Bonvoy, the official sponsor of the NFL.
8:49We'll see you there. All right, Liz, let's dive into our biggest takeaways here from week four.
8:55And here we go. Girl, Jonathan Taylor, 20 fantasy points again this week.
8:59Jonathan Taylor, 20, carries 95 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
9:0222.7 fantasy points. He's had at least 22 fantasy points in three of four weeks this year.
9:07And that was including against really tough defenses. Baltimore and Kansas City earlier on in the season.
9:13This feels like a really great spot for Jonathan Taylor where as much as I love the Colts and all the things
9:20that I was hoping Tyler Warren was going to turn into, it just feels like the receiving game is not playing out.
9:27And Jonathan Taylor just keeps delivering week in and week out.
9:31And he is the one thing that you can count on from Indianapolis from a fantasy perspective.
9:36I mean, London games are always a little bit wonky.
9:39It was concerning, though, that without Alec Pierce or Keenan Allen in the lineup, Josh Downs had fewer than five fantasy points.
9:47The passing game was not clicking. And so that meant running it all through the ground.
9:52And therefore, Jonathan Taylor, even Seth McGowan got a couple of carries in there, which was interesting.
9:57But yes, Jonathan Taylor continues to cook. He's got he's traveling actually to Pittsburgh from London.
10:02That's going to be a trek right in week five.
10:06Not for nothing. The Steelers gave up two different scores to the running back position just this past Thursday night.
10:12Yes, it looks like you want to say something.
10:15By the way, yes. No, I just wanted to say Daniel Jones scored a rushing touchdown, which is six fantasy points for us.
10:22But he finished with like seven point two fantasy points.
10:26Everything else about this Indianapolis Colts team right now, including our guy Tyler Warren, just is not playing out the way that we had hoped.
10:34But if you have Jonathan Taylor, he has been crushing and looks to continue doing that.
10:39Moving forward. I hope Carly's taking notes about all that.
10:42I want to know what she's writing down, but I hope that's included in the pad.
10:47Next. Did you take notes on Nico Collins? Because when he came back, he was just like an obvious set it and forget it.
10:55Girl looked unbelievable this week. 11th consecutive game played with 50 or more receiving yards, extending the longest streak in the NFL.
11:02Now, obviously, if he wasn't bothered by lower body issues in that time, it would be even better.
11:08But yes, seven catches, 118 yards, two touchdowns, over 30 fantasy points for Nico Collins.
11:13What a return. That's what you're looking for. And we had asked, is there a pass catcher when Nico is out that
11:20you maybe want to consider in fantasy? Nope. It is Nico or bust from this perspective right now for the Houston Texans.
11:27That is very much how it feels from a wide receiver standpoint.
11:31By the way, for the Baltimore Ravens, it's a flowers or bust like he is the guy unless they flowers is out.
11:38He is the obvious and clear wide receiver one of this squad.
11:42Ten targets again this week, Liz. Eight catches for 118 yards, 25.8 fantasy points.
11:46I know that Lamar got banged up in this.
11:49You'll talk about that a little bit later on in the show.
11:53But Zay Flowers is a legit wide receiver one.
11:56I think there's still some people with like this scar tissue of the boom bust Zay Flowers that we saw to start his career.
12:04He's kind of changed since he signed this new deal here in 2026.
12:08Isn't he a different player? Well, I think the knock against him, right, was that he couldn't score touchdowns.
12:14And we're seeing him do that exactly. He's cleared 25 fantasy points in two out of the three weeks in which he's played.
12:22And remember, he in week one left early with an injury.
12:25In week three in Brazil was on a limited snap count and in some like midfield conditions, frankly, but still abroad and and continue to produce.
12:34And this week he was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday.
12:37I was getting questions in my DMs and on X saying like, oh, should I start Zay?
12:43Is he going to be able to go? Girl, I don't care if Zay Flowers has a little Q next to his name.
12:50You are starting him because this is what you will often receive.
12:54I agree with that. If he is going to be out there and I know he will be on the field, he will be in my starting lineup.
13:03I did not necessarily feel that way, though, Liz, about Drake May.
13:07I did not feel that way about Drake May.
13:10And in fact, I think most of us didn't feel that way about Drake May.
13:15Rightfully so, though. Listen, he went off this week 26 fantasy points, but three straight weeks scoring under 10 fantasy points gives
13:22fantasy managers a reason to doubt whether or not they should start you.
13:26After what you saw this week, though, do you feel like, OK, maybe I need to reconsider.
13:32And Drake May still does exist. That top 10 guy does still exist here within the Drake May that we're seeing in 2026.
13:39I think we need to contextualize with the matchup against Buffalo.
13:43We know that defense is very generous. Now, maybe that helps light a fire and may find some momentum, even if Mike
13:50Clay does not believe that momentum is a real thing.
13:53I do. And I think it could contribute to the engine turning over, right?
13:58Finding something here. It is worth mentioning that May did have eight carries for 54 rushing yards in this.
14:04So we like to see that extra production on the ground.
14:07I personally, you know, I always like to remind everyone that we as analysts take our own advice.
14:13We're not just out there trolling you who are listening to us.
14:17I benched him across multiple leagues for Marcus Mariota, who exited the London game, what, on the second drive.
14:23Pain. So that was complete pain. I was there with everyone.
14:27I did not drop Drake May, and I also advise people not to do that.
14:31But he had to prove it before I went and started him.
14:35Next week, he is facing the Raiders. That is a trickier defense than a lot of people think.
14:41I think the Raiders have this reputation for being quite easy.
14:45But that defense has stiffened. That offense, in fact, has gotten much better under Mike McDonald as well.
14:50Why don't you talk about the team's QB? Mike McDonald, please.
14:54It's gotten better under Kirk Cousins. This dude has come in and looked unbelievable.
14:59Three straight games to start the season with three passing touchdowns, and then this week against Kansas City.
15:04365 passing yards, another two touchdowns, 22.6 fantasy points.
15:07He has scored 20-plus fantasy points in three straight games, Liz.
15:11And I understand he doesn't do a lot of the stuff that we want in fantasy football.
15:16He doesn't run the football. He doesn't do a whole lot.
15:20He's not valuable at the goal line. He's not going to get rushing touchdowns.
15:24None of that stuff. But with the way that they are utilizing him within this Raiders offense and how much he is
15:31slinging it out there coming up this next week.
15:34Well, the way he's utilizing the offense. I think this is where experience is really showing out, and he is providing a
15:42great learning experience, a great education, if you will, for Mendoza sitting here and just slinging it.
15:47He has been so pinpoint accurate. We know that he loves a tight end.
15:52He would talk about it when he was in Minnesota.
15:55He referenced Kyle Rudolph, frankly, back in the day as his mattress to throw to.
16:00That is helping not just Brock Bowers, but the team has two other tight ends that are producing.
16:05Ian Thomas found the end zone in this week against the Chiefs here.
16:10So I have a question to pose to you.
16:13Knowing that May and Cousins will face each other in week five at New England, who are you ranking higher, Cousins or May?
16:20Oh, gosh. Just a little peek ahead. Just a little spin forward, if you will.
16:25So Kirk Cousins has three straight games scoring 20-plus fantasy points.
16:28Multiple touchdowns, yes. Yes, and multiple touchdowns. Drake May had his first game over like nine and a half fantasy points this last week.
16:36Mm-hmm. Gosh, that's tough. There's a part of me, Liz.
16:39Listen, like you said, we take our own advice.
16:42There's a part of me that just finds it emotionally difficult to bench Drake May for Kirk Cousins.
16:48But right now... There you go. If I need a win...
16:52Tell him. And there are a couple of leagues in which I definitely need a win, I think I have to roll
16:59with the guy that has shown me on the field he can deliver what I need from a fantasy perspective.
17:05Because as much as this is a season-long game, if you're 0-3 or 1-4 or 1-3, excuse me, coming into week four,
17:12you're in a situation in which you need to win, I think Kirk Cousins might give you the best option this week
17:19or next week to be able to make that happen.
17:23But gosh, how tough is that? That here we are in week five talking about Drake May and Kirk Cousins.
17:29Liz Loza. I mean, just like we anticipated. You know, there was a player that we did anticipate, frankly, coming out of the NFL draft.
17:37We expected him to be polished and to produce.
17:40And it's finally starting. Carnell Tate is finally making the turn into being fantasy relevant.
17:45He converted 9 of 12 looks for 145 receiving yards, a career-high effort for the rookie in week two.
17:51Five targets. Week three, nine targets. Week four, 12 targets.
17:54Now, I watched him start to pick up steam in week three, and I thought, well, it's a matchup against the Giants.
18:01We know that secondary is a bit banged up, kind of generous.
18:05Girl, he did it again this week. And we love his matchup in week five versus Houston.
18:11Tell the folks why. Houston, as a defense, has given up 18-plus fantasy points to a wide receiver in every single game.
18:18Game so far this season. I would pick Carnell Tate over Wondell Robinson, even though Wondell found the end zone.
18:24We loved that this last week. Yeah, we love being able to see that.
18:29But it does feel like Carnell Tate has started to unlock.
18:32We were so out at the beginning of the year because it just frankly did take a couple of weeks, Liz, for Cam Ward and him.
18:41I mean, evolution takes time. It takes time. He's a rookie, right?
18:45Yep. They have to find their footing. And we are so impatient.
18:49Inpatient? We are so impatient in fantasy often. And here is an example of hopefully patience starting to take form.
18:55And now we can play him in a plus matchup in week five.
18:59Probably not in the wide receiver two range just yet, although with two buys starting next week, maybe.
19:05But he's probably more of a flex for me.
19:08Yes, we will have two teams on a buy in the Panthers and the Chiefs here in week five.
19:14So definitely something to keep in mind as we start moving.
19:18Now we got buy weeks to factor into all of our conversations.
19:21Liz, another guy that looks really good. Malik Neighbors.
19:24Seven, excuse me. Finally. Six catches, 112 yards and a touchdown, 23.2 fantasy points.
19:29Here's the thing. It had been a little bit with Jameis Winston.
19:33I just want to say this. Like, I was feeling not great because Jameis came in, didn't look good when he took
19:40over in that game when Jackson Dart got hurt.
19:43He just looked unprepared. He didn't look like the backup quarterback that was ready to take over if his team needed him.
19:50And then the next game that he played was against your Chicago Bears, but it was a terrible weather game.
19:56But you still have a game and a half of bad taste in your mouth of like, is Jameis not as good
20:03as I thought he was going to be at making sure that my guys get fed from a fantasy perspective?
20:10At least in this one. Here in week four, seven targets with what I said, 23.2 fantasy points.
20:16I'm feeling a lot better about both Malik Neighbors and Isaiah Likely as passing game options here for the Giants.
20:22Took a little bit of time coming into form.
20:25Got to find their flow. It is happening. We know also the good thing about Malik Neighbors now is that if he
20:32had continued to not be good and if Jameis had continued, like we know that there's going to be interceptions thrown, right?
20:39He had three touchdowns and two interceptions, a three to two ratio.
20:43We know that that is Winston's game. But we also know now that Neighbors is still good, right?
20:49Like that even as a rookie, we were like, he's going to get a ton of volume.
20:54He'll drag the quarterback into production and you don't have to worry about him.
20:59And now we're starting to see that initial analysis, despite the momentary hiccup, if you will, start to take fruit and bear fruit.
21:06I love that. I love that. And I'm hoping that this continues here with Malik Neighbors because as a guy that you
21:14probably drafted maybe at the beginning of the third, maybe the back end of the second, but beginning the third, but yeah,
21:21this is the guy that like he could really outperform his ADP for you because the reason why he dropped was the injury in a situation.
21:29And now with Jameis Winston, it feels like he'd still be a clear wide receiver one.
21:34Can I talk about the next player? Please. Thank you.
21:37I was going to say, can I ask you about Ali Gordon?
21:41Please jump in with this one. I want to talk to you about Ali Gordon because last week as a Devon Achan
21:48manager, investor, if you will, you had some very big feelings about Gordon coming in immediately after Achan left the field and finding the end zone.
21:57And now he's done it in back-to-back games, nine carries for 100 rushing yards and that touchdown.
22:02He ripped off one long run for over 50 yards, looking explosive in an otherwise listless offense.
22:08And in a Brian Flores revenge game in which Flores called up the blitz like 800% of the time.
22:14Yes, correct. Normally we don't see an 800% blitz rate, but in this game here before we in fact did.
22:20That is actually factually correct. Here's the thing. If I was an Ali Gordon manager because I added him off of waivers,
22:28I would immediately take this game to start fielding offers.
22:31And I don't think that anyone is interested, but I would absolutely sell high.
22:35Nine carries for 100 yards and a touchdown. Did you see what the rest of the offense?
22:41I know. No, that's the thing. Against this defense, he basically had that one big rip for a touchdown, which was great.
22:48Scored 11 points on that play, but then scored seven points on everything else that he did the entire rest of the game.
22:55So if I am an Ali Gordon manager and I dumped a ton of my fab, by the way, it means I
23:02at least got the first laugh because I got the first game that's going to be good for him.
23:09But I would absolutely be trying to sell because this Miami Dolphins offense just still looked bad.
23:14Chris Bell, notwithstanding. Oh, dude, if his big toe was a third of an inch smaller, he would have had a huge touchdown.
23:21But still, I'm moving on from Ali Gordon. I don't think nine for 100 and a touchdown is a sustainable rate.
23:28Well, and I also think that week five versus Cincinnati, people are not going to believe that the Bengals defense has improved as much as it has.
23:37And they're going to think about the Bengals defense from last year and assume it's a gettable matchup, but I'm with you.
23:44Sell high as well. If Ali Gordon was someone that people spent a lot of fab on, Emmanuel Wilson might have been
23:51as well after Jadarian Price was officially ruled out.
23:54Is Wilson, though, who we wanted Price to be?
23:57Yes! This is exactly what we wanted the first round draft pick to be.
24:01This is why I touted him, Jadarian Price, not Emmanuel Wilson, Jadarian Price, as potentially the best RB2 in football, because this
24:09role exists for the Seattle Seahawks starting running back.
24:12This has been there the entirety of the start of the season, the whole first month.
24:17And we just haven't seen it from Jadarian Price, unfortunately.
24:20Now on IR and in this game, Emmanuel Wilson goes off 21 carries, 81 rushing yards and a touchdown, plus three catches
24:27for 39 yards and a receiving touchdown for 27 fantasy points.
24:31It's so difficult for me as someone that advocated so hard for Jadarian Price, because what I was advocating for was the role in the Seahawks offense.
24:39And I thought it was obviously going to be him as the first round pick.
24:44And instead, we saw it here with Emmanuel Wilson in week four.
24:48Do you think, I mean, Liz, I want to ask you this.
24:52We've been talking about Zach Charbonnet as a guy that you need to add off of waivers.
24:57He's still not ready to come back yet. Do you believe that Emmanuel Wilson moving forward at maybe in week five against
25:04San Francisco, is he at least going to be in the flex conversation after what you saw here in week four?
25:11I'm it might be only because I think Emmanuel Wilson's performance allows the offense to slow play Charbonnet if they want to.
25:18Right. Like they don't feel like they have to throw Charbonnet in.
25:22And if it were Price and the efficiency numbers were what he was posting, then they might feel like they have an urgency issue with Charbonnet.
25:31That doesn't exist right now with Wilson. Not for nothing, Wilson entered this contest leading the team in rush attempts with 32.
25:38He also had the most inside the five yard line with five.
25:42So I said on FFC this morning, if you were going to chase touchdowns in this backfield, which isn't always advisable, although
25:49it did work out in this situation, then Wilson would be the back to chase with.
25:54And, you know, it worked at least this time.
25:57You know who else is chasing touchdowns right now?
26:00Oh, girl, I cannot believe. Go, go get into it because I have some I have some thoughts.
26:06Christian McCaffrey. Let's be honest. Christian McCaffrey has become a touchdown dependent running back.
26:10And I'm going to talk about this with Field and Mike throughout the week.
26:15I promise you that. Oh, wow. 15 carries for 52 yards and a rushing touchdown.
26:19Three receptions for 18 yards. A total of 16 fantasy points.
26:23Only had five targets in this game. He's got two games with 16 or fewer fantasy points.
26:28And I know 16 is a big number. But the idea that Christian McCaffrey has become a touchdown dependent running back when
26:36you look at his box score is not that crazy.
26:39Liz Loza. Also, I mean, but one of the biggest points that I tried to make heading into this season was that
26:46Christian McCaffrey was kind of a mid rusher, at least at this point in his career, because he was coming off of
26:53a career low 3.9 yards per carry in 2025.
26:56His efficiency stinks. 15 carries for 52 rushing yards.
26:59It was the touchdown that saved his day. And, you know, the rebuttal to that, understandably, was like, well, yeah, but his
27:06receiving game work makes up for the vast difference in that statistical valley.
27:10And so, all right. But now he's entering week five at Seattle, one of the best defenses in the league.
27:17Are we imagining that he's going to be efficient in that outing?
27:20No. I don't think so. And when you look at all of the four rushing touchdowns, he only has four touchdowns this year.
27:28I shouldn't say only. Four touchdowns in four weeks is a good number.
27:32Yeah, that's a very good number. So I'm not trying to, you know.
27:36But week one did not have any touchdowns. Week two had two one-yard rushing touchdowns.
27:41Week three had another one-yard rushing touchdown. Week four had another one-yard rushing touchdown.
27:46He's not having big plays from this standpoint right now.
27:49If I was going to – if I was a CMC manager, Liz, and I recognized I was already out to start
27:56the season, I would be looking to sell right now before you get into a situation in which he's not able to
28:03find the end zone, and you're losing value on who CMC is.
28:07I doubt my other colleagues will agree with that, but I am very much in on that after I have seen him
28:14through the first four weeks of the season. And that the grind of the season in his age 30 campaign doesn't start
28:21to wear, and his efficiency wanes even further. Right now he's the RB8 in terms of fantasy on the season.
28:28That's not how you drafted him. Potentially as like what, the fifth overall pick probably?
28:32You could have had JSN. You could have had Amon Ross St.
28:36Brown. There's a handful of guys that would have been really good in that conversation right there.
28:42So we'll see how it works out with CMC.
28:45Obviously he has not been bad. Still very good.
28:4816 fantasy points is fantastic. However, when you look at the numbers and dive in a little bit deeper, there are reasons
28:55why we were a little bit concerned, and I think there might be some reasons why I would want out if I
29:02were to happen to be in the CMC game as of right now.
29:06And if the 49ers continue to win like they have been, what is the motivation to change it?
29:12A lot of K-LON Black. We've seen way more K-LON Black this season than I ever thought we would based on how
29:19they've utilized third-round running backs in the past, Liz.

31:14Varies by state. All right. With that being said, Liz, our least favorite part of the show, but very informative for us moving forward.
31:22Let's dive into all of the injuries that happened here in week four.
31:26Ouch, baby. Very ouch. Let's start with Marcus Mariota, who we mentioned earlier in the program.
31:31He left, I believe, on the second drive of the game in London with a knee issue.
31:37Now, it is being reported that Jaden Daniels is expected back next week.
31:41We obviously have to monitor that throughout the week, but Mariota probably wouldn't play if Daniels couldn't start in week five.
31:48Saquon Barkley. Oh, this one stung. Yeah. For the entirety of the Eagles' offense, frankly, I mean, who do they have?
31:55Paxton Begleiter, the flag football seventh grade QB, might be scouted by the Eagles at this point.
32:00That's my son, by the way. He entered the medical tent.
32:04Barkley did. Not Paxton. During the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Rams.
32:08Did not return. And then Tank Bigsby left the game with an undisclosed injury in the fourth quarter.
32:14So the Eagles just getting the injury imp biting all over the place in Philadelphia.
32:19Jamar Chase also exited with a concussion. It is worth mentioning that in Chase's absence, T.
32:24Higgins went off. He's now recorded 20 or more fantasy points in back-to-back games, and he gets Miami in week five.
32:31Higgins does. DJ Moore, this one stung. Oh, I hated this one.
32:35He seemed to re-aggravate the shoulder injury that messed him up in week two.
32:39And we really thought, especially with Christian Gonzalez sidelined in this game, that Moore would have a big effort.
32:45Didn't happen, so we'll monitor that. Lamar Jackson was on a tear.
32:49He was producing. It was looking fantastic. I think he was at about 18 fantasy points when he left with an ankle issue, adding insult to injury.
32:58He was seen wearing a walking boot on his left foot after the game.
33:03Lad McConkie, who's been gutting it through this chest issue, picked up a foot injury in the Chargers loss.
33:09So that's not great. McConkie now feeling less and less of a priority.
33:13I don't know patience-wise whether managers are going to be able to deal with it.
33:18Rasheed Rice and Taequann Thornton both left the Chiefs game.
33:21Rice very early with a hamstring issue, and Thornton a little bit later with an ankle issue.
33:26I'm sure that you and the guys will talk about Xavier Worthy.
33:30He's going to be a waiver-wire pickup. Eric Moody should probably mention him.
33:34Might be someone you want to target if neither of these guys can make it to the field in week five.
33:41All right, Liz Loza, thank you so much for that.
33:44Honestly, this isn't a part of our show, but I want to bring it up to you anyways.
33:50We should have this in here. Dalton Kincaid, you mentioned DJ Moore was out.
33:55I would have thought Dalton Kincaid would have been a larger part of this offense.
34:00One catch, seven yards, only two targets, 1.7 fantasy points.
34:03It feels like we've seen this story from Dalton Kincaid.
34:06After the first two weeks where he scored 18 fantasy points in week one, 22 fantasy points in week two, he is
34:13at back-to-back weeks under four fantasy points, and there has been no DJ Moore in either of those situations.
34:19All right, Liz, thank you so much for hanging out with me on this Sunday night.
34:25Hopefully you have fun watching what is left of this Sunday night football game, and thank you to all of you guys
