Alvin Kamara

NegativeProjection29:08

Ranked RB27 in Week 6 flex tier rankings; included in the group of backs the source describes as flex options where analysts must determine starting viability based on matchup and role.

Insight page
NegativeUsage39:16

Averaging 3.1 yards per carry this season; past catching efficiency has completely cratered, leaving him without receiving value despite that being his traditional domain in the Saints offense.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

NegativeProjection4:03

Ranked RB1 on the source's Week 6 big board.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeProjection29:08

Included in Week 6 RB3/flex tier rankings; part of the group of backs where analysts must evaluate starting viability on a week-to-week basis.

Insight page
NegativeProjection40:00

Ranked RB28 for Week 6, just one spot behind Kendrick Miller. Source prefers Miller due to matchup quality and confidence in usage, but Corum is in consideration as a deep play in a good offense that could blow out its opponent and see increased second-half work.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

NegativeProjection29:08

Included in Week 6 RB3/flex tier rankings in the bottom half of the group; part of the backs where analysts must evaluate starting viability on a week-to-week basis.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveMatchup22:07

Irving had massive runs against the Dallas Cowboys defense, breaking tackles and gaining significant yardage despite appearing to be stopped initially. The source notes the Cowboys defense struggled with missed tackles, suggesting Irving should have a favorable matchup this week.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup22:27

Irving's massive runs against Dallas Cowboys defense showcase the team's tackling issues; the source notes Irving appeared stopped multiple times but couldn't be brought down, suggesting Dallas is among the worst in missed tackles alongside Denver, making this a favorable matchup for Irving's production.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeRole10:30

Chase Brown is flagged as a player likely to generate questions heading into the week, grouped with Ashton Gentry as a running back of concern.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeProjection4:03

Ranked RB5 on the source's Week 6 big board.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveRole1:06

Watson is characterized as a consistent touchdown scorer; the source notes 'all he does is score first touchdowns, scores touchdowns,' highlighting his reliable red zone role and touchdown-scoring propensity for the Packers.

Insight page

CJ Donaldson

NegativeUsage40:49

Out-snapped Kendrick Miller against the Vikings, but primarily due to pass protection needs when facing the Vikings' blitz-heavy defense; not the Saints' best between-the-tackles option.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeProjection4:03

Ranked RB10 on the source's Week 6 big board.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeInjury42:18

Out for Week 6, which opens up carries for Kalen Black in the 49ers backfield.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveValue21:59

The source ranks Emmanuel Wilson at 22 this week and has him ranked lower than Marshawn Lloyd, indicating Wilson is undervalued relative to Lloyd's ranking despite the latter's limited role and efficiency issues.

Insight page
NegativeUsage43:02

Has fumbled twice in the last two weeks; competing with George Helani for carries in Seattle's backfield. If Wilson ends up in fumble jail, Helani benefits; if Helani is benched, Wilson could see increased work.

Insight page

George Holani

PositiveBreakout43:02

Deep play for Week 6 despite fumble concerns (fumbled twice last week including a bad one at end of first half); if he avoids fumble jail, the Broncos matchup is favorable—they rank fifth-worst in receptions and receiving yards allowed to running backs. Helani is Seattle's passing-down back and could benefit from this receiving-friendly matchup.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveUsage30:00

In Sean Payton's first game calling plays for Denver, Dobbins played 32 snaps (season-high 51.6% snap share) with 18 carries (season-high), 68 yards, and a touchdown; Payton appeared intent on establishing the Denver running game, suggesting increased role and opportunity for Dobbins going forward.

Insight page

James Cook

NegativeProjection4:03

Ranked RB8 on the source's Week 6 big board.

Insight page
NegativeRole11:00

James Cook is cited as an example of a high-end running back option that would be needed to justify benching Ashton Gentry in fantasy lineups.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeProjection4:03

Ranked RB7 on the source's Week 6 big board.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeProjection4:03

Ranked RB9 on the source's Week 6 big board.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeProjection4:03

Ranked RB3 on the source's Week 6 big board.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeProjection29:08

Included in Week 6 RB3/flex tier rankings; part of the group of backs where analysts must evaluate starting viability on a week-to-week basis.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeProjection29:08

Included in Week 6 RB3/flex tier rankings in the bottom half of the group; part of the backs where analysts must evaluate starting viability on a week-to-week basis.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

NegativeProjection29:08

Included in Week 6 RB3/flex tier rankings in the bottom half of the group; part of the backs where analysts must evaluate starting viability on a week-to-week basis.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeProjection4:03

Ranked RB2 on the source's Week 6 big board; among the top fantasy points per game leaders alongside Jameer Gibbs and Bijon Robinson.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeProjection4:03

Ranked RB4 on the source's Week 6 big board.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeProjection5:22

Derek Henry's fantasy outlook improves if Lamar Jackson returns from injury, as the Ravens' offensive context would strengthen.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeBust21:13

The source warns against chasing touchdowns despite a good matchup; Lloyd is averaging 2.8 yards per carry with the Packers' bad offensive line limiting efficiency. He had only a 44% snap share last week, splitting carries with Pierre Strong and Caleb Johnson. While it was encouraging to see Lloyd lower his shoulder and truck a tackler on one touchdown, the source is not excited about him this week given the limited role and efficiency concerns.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup22:27

Lloyd faces Dallas Cowboys, a defense with massive missed tackle issues similar to Denver; although Pierre Strong has eaten into Lloyd's receiving opportunities, the Packers trust Lloyd on third down and he converted red zone opportunities into two touchdowns last week; the source projects the Packers will be in the red zone constantly against Dallas, giving Lloyd a strong chance to find the end zone.

Insight page
NegativeRole27:24

Lloyd is a committee back, which places him in a different tier than Marks who is getting the backfield to himself this week. The source had hesitation about pushing Lloyd out there, suggesting concerns about his workload and role limitations compared to a workhorse back.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

NegativeUsage11:54

Mike Washington has one rushing touchdown this season, noted in context of Ashton Gentry's zero rushing touchdowns.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeProjection28:37

Ranked RB25 in Week 6 rankings; the source expresses concern about his placement in that range, suggesting uncertainty about his fantasy viability despite the ranking.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveProjection5:51

Ranked RB11 on the source's matchup tool with a four out of five star rating. Erickson ranks him inside the top ten running backs for Week 6, higher than ECR. With Travion Anderson banged up, Stevenson is positioned to see a hefty workload in a positive matchup against the New York Jets.

Insight page
NegativeRole11:00

Ramondre Stevenson is cited as an example of a high-end running back option that would be needed to justify benching Ashton Gentry in fantasy lineups.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeRole29:16

Ranked RB28 in Week 6; went from 10 catches in Week 4 to zero catches in Week 5 after Sean Payton took over play-calling duties; played nine fewer snaps than Dobbins (23 vs. 32) in Payton's first game, suggesting Payton's offensive scheme may reduce Harvey's role and receiving opportunities despite prior expectations of his increased usage.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup30:57

Ranked RB24 by one the source; faces Seattle Seahawks defense in Week 6, which is described as a much tougher matchup for traditional between-the-tackles running backs compared to the Chargers defense; this matchup context is cited as potential reasoning for optimism about Harvey's role, though the broader snap-share decline under Payton creates conflicting signals.

Insight page

Will Shipley

PositiveMatchup25:00

Shipley faced Jacksonville Jaguars last week despite the matchup being projected as really tough; he didn't play the full game but caught a couple passes, rushed for a couple yards, and scored a touchdown, cashing as an RB2 flex play and demonstrating that even against the Jaguars' elite run defense, touchdown upside is achievable.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeMatchup23:24

Marks is ECR 20 and was a top waiver claim, but faces Jacksonville Jaguars, one of the worst run defenses in the NFL; the source notes that against almost any other team, Marks would be pushing top 15 this week, but the Jaguars matchup significantly downgrades his value despite his high snap share (85%) and touch volume (16 straight opportunities after Dave Montgomery's injury).

Insight page
PositiveUsage24:38

Marks played 85% of snaps last week with 16 straight opportunities and received no other running back touches after Dave Montgomery's injury; the Texans offense under Nick Haley features Marks as the focal point in the backfield, providing a high floor and potentially high ceiling from a snap and touch perspective.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup25:48

Marks faced the Jaguars last year and finished as RB10 on the week with 63 rushing yards, the second-most rushing yards any running back has posted against Jacksonville in the last two seasons (trailing only Jonathan Taylor). The source emphasizes proof of concept for ceiling outcomes given his high opportunity share in the backfield, noting he could stumble into the end zone and may see increased passing game usage; he received a target boost last week and is a talented pass catcher from his college days at USC.

Insight page
NegativeRole27:24

Marks is getting the backfield to himself this week, with only Daré Agumawale potentially getting a handful of touches and possibly Jawar Jordan called up from the practice squad. He is averaging 3.5 yards per carry this year (3.6 last year) and 2.6 targets per game with only 4.2 yards per target, which paints a bleak picture for his pass-catching production despite that being a big part of his appeal as a USC prospect. The source notes Marks has looked better this year than last year on the eye test, even if the numbers don't quantify that assessment.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup28:00

The Jaguars run defense is elite, ranking number one in DVOA and giving up only 42 rushing yards per game to running backs with 2.5 yards per carry. The source expresses skepticism that Marks' 62-yard rushing day last year proves he has solved the Jaguars run defense, calling the matchup tough. However, the source still recommends leaning into the volume and playing Marks as an RB2 in a 14-bye-week scenario.

0:00This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. What's up friends and welcome into Fantasy Pros.
0:04This is the Fantasy Pros Football Ranks Podcast. We are talking Fantasy Football Ranks for Week 6.
0:10I'm Chris Welsh. I am back in the seat with two of my dearest friends.
0:14These beautiful faces, Andrew Erickson, Pat Fitzmaurice, as we are going to be tackling the top 36 running backs for Week 6.
0:21We'll go a little bit beyond. We're going to be talking about Fantasy Pros ECR versus those ranks.
0:26And we'll see where these two fine gentlemen are differing just a tiny bit.
0:30Pat Fitzmaurice is on a high right now as the Brewers and the Packers could potentially be lining up for the penultimate
0:37mega showdown of baseball and football in your hometown there, Fitzy.
0:40So how are you ramping up? How can you even care about football at a time like this with the World Series?
0:47I know. First trip to the World Series for the Brewers potentially since 1982, 44 years.
0:52And yeah, if the Dodgers are able to win two out of three in L.A., that means the Packers-Cowboys game and the
0:58Brewers-Dodgers game six would both be Sunday night. And Wisconsin Taverns would not be able to keep enough beer on hand to satisfy patrons on Sunday night.
1:06The one thing we will know, guaranteed, I can guarantee you one thing on that Sunday night if it happens, Christian Watson's
1:13going to score the first touchdown of the game because that's all he does.
1:17All he does is score first touchdowns, scores touchdowns.
1:20Erickson back in the house as well. What's up, buddy?
1:23Dude, I'm looking forward to that potential doubleheader, right, between baseball and football.
1:27It's like that guy with the tree rubbing his hands together.
1:30He's like, oh, baby. When the bartenders see that this is a doubleheader, oh, man, they're ready to make some money.
1:36We should live stream. That's what I'm going to be promoting to management.
1:40If we can have a live stream camera following Fitzy on Sunday for Packers and Brewers.
1:45But we're not going to talk baseball here even as much as I would love to.
1:50We are going to be talking about the running back ranks, our running back series, our rank series we're going to have
1:56here on Fantasy Pros and on the YouTube where you can check out all the different positions.
2:01This one dedicated to running backs. The one thing we do, though, on the running back specific episode before we start jumping
2:08into it, we talk about the accuracy contest. And we've got a big shout out to a Fantasy Pros person here finishing top 10.
2:15But your top three every single week, everybody is ranking.
2:18We're all ranking for that weekly set of players.
2:21We get the accuracy after the week. And this week, we've got three new people to celebrate.
2:26Rudy Gamble from Rasball finishing with the number one spot.
2:29Congratulations to Rudy. Ryan Noonan from 4 for 4 at 2.
2:32And Kyle Yates from Yates Fantasy Football 3. Those are your top three most accurate rankers from week five.
2:38But friends, the great and powerful Wonky Penguin. Kelly Kirby with a top 10 finish.
2:43I believe that is her second top 10 finish this year.
2:46Just unseating Mayer. Mike Mayer who? Mike Mayer always gets into that top 10.
2:50We're not going to talk about where we finish.
2:53But shout out to Kelly Kirby. Kelly's a beast.
2:55And Kelly was able to finish 10th, I believe, in the Fantasy Pros contest.
3:00You guys can check it out all on Fantasy Pros.
3:03Yeah. Well, you know how Kelly does it, right?
3:05It's because she has to edit all of her articles.
3:08So she has all the intel and all the information to work at her disposal.
3:13So she should be finishing top 10. She could be doing like a Price is Right too where she sees like where everybody's got.
3:20And then she's like $1. You know, like she just goes like one over.
3:24And then she slides it in. Now Kelly's. Kelly's sharp.
3:27Kelly's a sharp. We got some sharps over here.
3:30You guys want to check out? You can check out the weekly and the full year accuracy contest over on Fantasy Pros.
3:37You know, if you want to be an accountability buddy.
3:40Fantasypros.com slash rankings. That's where you can check out what we're going to be talking about today.
3:45Check out all the rankings throughout the week as they will change as more of the experts submit their ranks.
3:51That's what we're going to be talking about today.
3:53If you want to follow along. And let's jump into the big board here.
3:58Talking running back top 12. The big board for week six starts with, of course, Bijon Robinson.
4:03We got Ken Walker coming in at two. Jonathan Taylor.
4:06Kyron Williams at four. Christian McCaffrey at five. And Derek Henry rounds out the top six.
4:10Bottom half is Javante Williams, James Cook, Jalen Warren, DeAndre Swift, Ramondre Stevenson, and Ashton Gentry.
4:15Got a couple things to actually talk about in this top end here.
4:19One is a little discrepancy you guys have. And this is more around you, Fitz.
4:24Derek Henry. I mean, this is picking nits, as they say, a little bit.
4:28He comes in at six. Erickson's got him at seven.
4:31You got him at three. You got him as a top three running back this week.
4:36Maybe back with Lamar Fitz. Any things you want to throw at us about Derek Henry this week?
4:41He leads the league with 113 rushing attempts. Derek Henry has had 23 or more carries in four of the Ravens' first five games.
4:48He's had at least one touchdown in every game.
4:51He's had a two-touchdown game and a three-touchdown game.
4:54Five games, eight touchdowns. He's on a pace for 27 TDs.
4:57And right now, Derek Henry is the RB in fantasy points per game.
5:01Behind only Jameer Gibbs, Kenneth Walker, and B. John Robinson.
5:04I would have had Henry at RB4 this week, but Jameer Gibbs is on buy.
5:08And I love the way, by the way, that Declan Doyle is getting Henry involved in the screen game, which is how he had his touchdown last week.
5:17Who would imagine? Get this big, intimidating guy into space and let him rumble over linebackers and defensive backs.
5:22So, yeah. I mean, things are going really well for Derek Henry, and things only get better if Lamar Jackson comes back.
5:29Yeah. You got him top of the heap. We don't need to sit on that.
5:34Obviously, Derek Henry's good. I wanted you to mention, because you had him so high, I want to jump to Erickson for
5:40the next player on this list, because if you're looking at, like, what doesn't quite fit, what doesn't feel like it should
5:47be on this list, you see Ramondra Stevenson's name, and you're like, huh?
5:51Well, Travion Anderson banged up. Ramondra Stevenson comes in at RB11 this week on the Fantasy Pro's matchup tool, which you can see on the ranks.
5:58It's a four out of five star rating, so that's solid.
6:02Fitzy, we'll definitely go to you on it, because you've got him outside of the RV1s.
6:07But, Erickson, you are higher than ECR. You've got him inside the top ten running backs for this week.
6:12So, Erickson, talk to us about Ramondra Stevenson without Travion Henderson.
6:16Yeah, I think that's really the main selling point with Ramondra, is he's going to see a hefty workload and, I think,
6:22a positive matchup against the New York Jets. Last week, he got all but two of New England's carries from running backs after Travion Henderson went down.
6:30Team high for red zone touches. And Kiner, the backup running back for the Patriots, the third stringer, he got a fumble in last week's game.
6:38So, I think that the team already had showed us when Henderson was healthy that they trust Stevenson to be the RB1.
6:45He catches passes. He gets red zone opportunities. The Patriots offense has looked legit back over the last two games with Drake
6:51May really having a return to form from what we saw during his second season.
6:56And if you look at Ramondra from last year, when he really took the reins as the clear-cut RB1 and really improved
7:02in the second half of the season, he was RB7 in points per game from Week 13 throughout the postseason, averaging 15.4 points per game in half PPR.
7:11Fantasy RB1 production. So, that's why I have him right at the RB8, RB7 range, because that's what he was when he
7:17was the bell cow last year for the New England Patriots.
7:21And that's exactly what I'm expecting here. Top ten matchup against the New York Jets.
7:25They're playing at home. I think that he is a slam dunk.
7:29Fitzy, is there any hesitation whatsoever? You've got him at 14.
7:32It's not a hate or anything like that. It's going to be hard to not start a top 15 running back this
7:39week, but you're a little bit lower than ECR outside of that top ten.
7:43What hesitation do you have with Ramondra on having him higher?
7:46Yeah, you're starting him no matter what. I think the only catch with Stevenson is that you know he's not going to give you any breakaway runs.
7:54So, you're counting on that volume. And he's been dealing with a knee issue.
7:58So, he probably does get ample volume in a fairly good matchup.
8:02But that's the thing. You have to get the 15-plus touches from him.
8:06And I think you will this week. But it's just he's not going to get it in big chunks.
8:12Any thoughts on Ashton Gentry as the last one in this top end?
8:15You know, a lot of question around him last week.
8:18Performance. Eh. Used a lot of lob over even Washington.
8:21Washington got it phased out and snaps. They got Buffalo this week, which seems like a solid matchup.
8:27He comes in at RB12. You guys are just kind of split across.
8:31Erickson, you've got him at 13. So, you've got Ramondra higher.
8:34Fitz, you've got him as a top ten this week.
8:37So, Fitzy, what's your take on Ashton Gentry this week?
8:40Any concerns? Obviously, no really concerns having him top ten.
8:43He's a really interesting case. And I think the vibes are pretty negative on Gentry right now.
8:48He's banged up. Like, he came into the season with an ankle injury.
8:52You guys remember that one? The social media panic over the report that Gentry was down and in pain after what seemed
8:59like a season-ending injury during a practice. But not season-ending.
9:02Although now he's dealing with plantar fasciitis. So, that's not good.
9:05Gentry had that great game against the Dolphins in week one.
9:08A hundred yards rushing, six catches, 45 yards, two touchdowns receiving.
9:12Since then, it hasn't been quite as pretty. He has not scored a touchdown over his last four games.
9:17Has not hit 60 rushing yards in any of his last four games.
9:21And yet, Gentry is still RB16 in PPR points per game over the last four weeks.
9:26Because this dude is doing some work as a pass catcher.
9:29His receiving numbers over the last three weeks, three for 37, six for 68, three for 50.
9:34He's on pace for over 700 receiving yards. And even without the big game in week one, Gentry has averaged 89.8 yards
9:41from scrimmage over the last four weeks. He scored double-digit PPR points every week.
9:45There have been no complete duds from him. And this week, banged up as he may be, Gentry gets the Buffalo Bills,
9:52who still are not very good against the run.
9:5419th in DVOA is Buffalo's run defense. And the Bills could be without Ed Oliver, who missed week five with a knee
10:01injury that seems like it's going to be a multi-week thing.
10:04I keep thinking about, by the way, when you talk about the injury, I think about that viral video.
10:10Wasn't it two days after that viral video of the guy who walked up to his auction draft or whatever, or just
10:17their live draft, and he put Ashton Gentry as the number one pick, and that went everywhere.
10:22And then two days later, Gentry goes down, and everyone was just roasting that guy.
10:26He's not really having any type of I-told-you-so moment, though, either way.
10:30Erickson, is there any hesitation? You haven't been 13, so again, it's not anything crazy.
10:34I feel like we're going to see some Ashton Gentry questions.
10:38There's a couple guys. Chase Brown and him are going to be questions I feel like we're going to see as the week kind of moves on.
10:46Is there any hesitation whatsoever with Gentry if somehow you had amazing options, or is it just plug-and-play and you just drop them at 13?
10:53I mean, I want to see the rosters where you can afford to not start Ashton Gentry.
10:58You must have an embarrassment of riches at running back.
11:01What if someone had Ramondre Stevenson, and you've got James Cook, Ramondre Stevenson, and Gentry, and you'd probably have a flex.
11:08Send me the screenshots. I want to see these rosters.
11:11Please do it. I would say with Gentry, it does come down to health for me, right?
11:16I thought that he looked significantly more banged up in this last game against the Patriots than he did previously.
11:22Now, he was really questionable to play leading up to Friday.
11:25I believe he didn't practice, and then we got the notification on Saturday that he was going to be a go.
11:31But even Clint Kubiak admitted this week that he is playing hurt, right?
11:35Legit, like, no, like, full stop. This guy is hurt.
11:38And that doesn't really give me the warm and fuzzy feeling of, oh, I want to start this running back as a
11:45fantasy RB1 when the Russian production has been absolutely abysmal for Gentry.
11:48Now, the floor is there because of what Fitz alluded to with the receiving and a matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
11:55We respect to be high scoring. The Raiders are playing at home in a dome.
11:59Yeah, they're going to have to be aggressive and involve him in the passing game.
12:04But I want to see some positive takeaways from the injury report this week.
12:08Is Ashton Gentry practicing in full? Does he have rest days on Wednesday and Thursday and practices on Friday?
12:14I mean, right now, when you look at the rushing touchdowns, Mike Washington has one.
12:18Dylan Lobby has one. Gentry has zero rushing touchdowns this season.
12:21The most carries of all running backs without a touchdown.
12:24Eventually, he's going to find the end zone. But, I mean, it was an absolutely brutal run out for him last week
12:31when they get down to the goal line and Dylan Lobby scores the rushing touchdown.
12:36And they take Ashton Gentry out of the game.
12:38Like, come on, man. Like, don't do this Ken Walker, Zach Sharman, I think, again with Ashton Janty.
12:44Please don't do this to us. So, I think the floor is obviously there with Janty.
12:48And I will say with the Bills run defense, at least, number three in rushing stuff rate this season.
12:54So, I don't think that this may be the turnaround for Janty to, oh, now he's averaging five yards per carry.
13:00It looks really explosive. I think he's kind of have to grind his way to getting to a fantasy RB1 type of stat line.
13:08RB2s coming up in a second. Let me tell you guys about the new, this new prediction market called Polymarket.
13:14Oh, yes. It's a stock exchange for sports buying in and selling out on your terms.
13:18When your team goes down to 20%, you can buy in and sell it out at 40% when they come back and you can double your money.
13:26They're so confident that you're never going to go back to the other guys.
13:31They're giving you a free $25 on your first trade when you deposit just $10.
13:35They've also launched this great new feature called Squads.
13:38It's a group chat where you can see what everybody is trading on.
13:42So, download the Polymarket app today and use code FPPOD when you sign up.
13:46That's FPPOD to get $25 free after you deposit just $10.
13:49RB2s. Let's take a look at the big board.
13:5213 through 24. We've got Chuba Hubbard coming in at 13.
13:55Bucky Irving at 14. Followed by Emmanuel Wilson. Basial Tootin.
13:58Cam Skadaboo. Braylon Allen. Jeremiah Love at 19. 15 to 20 to 24 is Woody Marks.
14:03Marshawn Lloyd. Tony Pollard. Quinchon Jutkins. And Ja'Cory Kroski.
14:06Merritt Boyd. Have you ever seen a list of running backs that shows you we're on bye weeks than this set here?
14:12Let's talk about Emmanuel Wilson. Emmanuel Wilson kind of getting the throws of all the stuff.
14:17He comes in as a top 15 running back going up against Denver.
14:21He is RB15. You both are lower on him.
14:24Fitzy at 19. Erickson, RB22. Erickson, let's start with you then on the negative.
14:28Still an RB2, just quite a bit lower for both of you guys.
14:32Where is the negatives on Emmanuel Wilson against Denver?
14:35Well, I don't want to over-evaluate the talent that Emmanuel Wilson is.
14:38And I think that we talked about this last week with Fitz and I both being lower versus consensus on Emmanuel Wilson
14:45because we're just trying to keep expectations in check for a running back that I think is okay.
14:50He gets what's blocked for him. But Fitz, correct me if I'm wrong, but this guy's not a special running back.
14:56And you've obviously watched him play with the Green Bay Packers.
15:00We've watched him play with the Seahawks this year.
15:02So on the year, Wilson ranks six worth in rushing yards over expectation per attempt.
15:07He ranks six worth in EPA per rush, 12 worth in yards after contact per attempt.
15:12A lot of these numbers are like the same as O'Marrion Hampton as a rusher.
15:16Now, Wilson plays in a much better environment where he actually gets opportunities in the red zone playing for the Seattle Seahawks.
15:23But we just saw the Chargers offense go up against this Denver Broncos run defense.
15:27And who was a major bust among their three running backs?
15:31O'Marrion Hampton. So you need a more explosive type of running back that's actually good, in my opinion, to really take advantage.
15:37Look at the Broncos and who they have faced at running back this year.
15:41Kenneth Walker, Bachel Toon, Christian McCaffrey, Kyron Williams. Those guys are all significantly better than Emmanuel Wilson is.
15:47So I think that he is a RB too, because he has the volume on his side.
15:52But I don't think that this matchup is, oh man, this is so gaudy.
15:56You got to start Emmanuel Wilson as a top 15 running back play.
16:00I think that's kind of aggressive, especially when you're going on the road to face the Denver Broncos on a short week.
16:07We know Denver is a tough place to play because of the altitude.
16:11So last week, one of my best bets was the under on Emmanuel Wilson, total rushing and receiving yards, because I did
16:17not think his receiving from two weeks ago was going to carry over.
16:21And that was the case, right? We didn't see him pop off for a major receiving role again, 20 times or 20 carries for 61 yards.
16:29And he caught two of two passes for 11 yards, also lost the fumble.
16:33I know Helani also lost the fumble as well, but it's still a somewhat of a committee.
16:38They still like to use Helani on third downs and in passing situations.
16:42So for me, that just makes Emmanuel Wilson just a lower end RB2 than more of a higher end one.
16:48Slightly higher Fitzy at 19. You got him as a top 20 running back this week.
16:53Are you kind of co-signing a lot of the, it's a lot of negative connotation around him.
16:58He still is kind of the guy, but is this a talent in what he can do?
17:03Or is this a Denver Bronco defense just kind of stuffing and not letting him be able to, I mean, because he's
17:10a red zone guy there, but not letting him be able to do anything.
17:14I don't know that I'm worried about the Denver defense.
17:17I mean, Denver's giving up four yards per carry after, yards after contact per carry.
17:21That's the most in the league. And they have been missing more tackles than any other defense.
17:26I don't think it's necessarily a terrible run defense.
17:29Like I'm not excited about the matchup, but I don't think it's a negative either.
17:34I will co-sign on Erickson's assessment that Emmanuel Wilson is just fine as a backup running back, but probably stretched as a number one back for anyone.
17:42So he's gotten 21 and 20 carries the last two weeks.
17:45That's the attraction. He's had 142 rushing yards, three touchdowns, and he's also had five catches for 50 yards with one of
17:52his three touchdowns coming on a catch. So he's not a complete zero as a pass catcher.
17:57The concern is that he's fumbled in each of his last two games and the fumble against the Niners last week.
18:03Pretty costly. Set them up at the 11-yard line.
18:06Christian McCaffrey scored on the next play. Although, an even more costly fumble by George Helani, who coughed it up right at the end of the first half.
18:14I'm sure you didn't mind that one well. I love the 49ers.
18:18Dove on it for a touchdown. So, yeah, even more costly than the Emmanuel Wilson fumble.
18:23But, I don't know. I'm just, I'm okay with him as a mid-range RB2 in a four-team bye week just based on
18:29the volume he's gotten the last two weeks with no Jadarian Price and Zach Charbonnet not ready to come back.
18:35I'm just not super excited about it. And I think that the high-end RB2 ECR seems a little bit aspirational.
18:41Quick, who'd you rather, Fitzy? Manuel Wilson or Amarian Hampton this week?
18:45Oh, Wilson. Erickson? Yeah, it's Wilson. I mean, at least Wilson leads his team in snaps and carries.
18:50It's not the case with Hampton, so. Just wanted to have a little heat check there as you were comparing him to Hampton, but it's still Wilson.
18:58Let's talk about something near and dear to Fitzy's heart, and it is the Green Bay Packers.
19:03But how near and dear is Marshawn Lloyd to your heart?
19:07RB21 on the week going up against Dallas. Five-star graded matchup.
19:10You guys are a little bit split. Erickson is the high man, only one spot higher than ECR.
19:15Fitzy, you technically still have him as an RB2, but he's your final 24, so you're lower.
19:20So, Fitzy, talk to us about Marshawn Lloyd. That team has just been wildly ineffective in their run game, but is the tide turning?
19:28What are your thoughts on Marshawn Lloyd this week?

21:28I know the matchup is pretty good, but I would warn people not to chase the touchdowns.
21:33Marshawn Lloyd is averaging 2.8 yards per carry. The Packers have a bad offensive line.
21:37Lloyd only had a 44% snap share last week.
21:40He was splitting carries with Pierre Strong early in the game, or splitting snaps.
21:44Caleb Johnson is in the mix too, although Caleb just seemed to be demoted, didn't really get into the game until the
21:51game was out of hands last week. I guess it was encouraging that Marshawn Lloyd actually lowered his shoulder to truck Jalen
21:57Johnson for one of his touchdowns last week, considering that Marshawn Lloyd is always looking to bounce runs outside.
22:03Nice to see him actually take on a tackler and do that, but I'm not super excited about him this week.
22:09Erickson, you're a little bit more excited, and maybe even compare, like, how close do you have Lloyd and Wilson?
22:15I'm now forgetting because I think you had, what did you have?
22:19You had Wilson at 22. You actually have, you have Marshawn Lloyd higher than Emmanuel Wilson this week.
22:24I like the matchup so much against the Dallas Cowboys.
22:27I mean, one of those Bucky Irving massive runs, it looked like he was going to get stopped against the Dallas Cowboys
22:34defense, and they just couldn't tackle him. Like, they just, like, I did no idea what they were doing.
22:40So I think in terms of missed tackles, I got to imagine Dallas Cowboys are right up there handholding with the Denver Broncos run defense.
22:47So I think that this is worth buying into.
22:50The total in this game is absolutely massive. And although Pierre Strong ate into Marshawn Lloyd's opportunities as a receiver, it's still
22:56something that they have trusted him on third down.
22:59And I don't think that the touchdowns are super fluky, right?
23:02He had gotten a lot of red zone opportunities heading into last week's game, had not scored those touchdowns yet, and ended
23:09up converting his red zone opportunities into two touchdowns.
23:12So I'm very confident the Packers offense is going to score points against Dallas.
23:16It's not necessarily going to be because Lloyd is ripping off all these big runs, but if they're going to be in
23:22the red zone constantly, then I think Lloyd has a really strong chance of finding the end zone and scoring.
23:28So I like him here a little bit here.
23:31And because I just, I really like the matchup.
23:34The final running back in this range to talk about jumping over to RB20 was, you know, if available, the top waiver
23:40claim or the guy that we talked most about, Woody Marks.
23:44Now with that and you Dave Montgomery, the problem is Woody Marks, almost given like 20 other teams he could have faced,
23:50would probably be pushing top 15 this week, would probably be a guy that we'd want like over Emmanuel Wills.
23:56I mean, maybe not. Maybe you guys will speak different to it.
24:00But unfortunately, Woody Marks goes from that high end waiver claim to being the guy, but he goes against the Jags.
24:06And that is one of a few of the one-star matchups, according to Fantasy Pros, that he's got for this week.
24:13He's ECR 20. You guys, again, are a little bit split.
24:16Erickson, you are the high. Fitzy, you are the low.
24:19But they're still RB2s. But you guys have just like, literally, the ECR is the average between you guys.
24:25Erickson, why don't you hit it first? You've got him at 18, so you're a little bit higher.
24:30That's, you know, positive remarks here, but it's just a really like bad general matchup.
24:34So what do you think about putting Woody Marks out there this week?
24:38Played 85% of the snaps last week, 16 straight opportunities.
24:41Basically, they gave no other running back any touches after Dave Montgomery got hurt last week.
24:46And we've seen the Texans offense under Nick Haley feature Woody Marks as their focal point in his backfield.
24:52So I think from a snaps touches perspective, you're looking at a really high floor and potentially high ceiling with Woody Marks.
24:58Now, the matchup, as we all alluded to, we talked about it last week with Will Shipley was going to be really
25:05tough against the Jaguars, but Will Shipley paid off, right?
25:08He didn't even play the full game, but he caught a couple passes, rushed for a couple yards and scored a touchdown.
25:15I was like, sick. I picked him up off waivers and he ended up cashing for my lineup as a RB2 flex play.
25:22So going back to the matchup, if you look at the Texans run game against the Jaguars run defense, I don't think
25:28you're going to see anything more stark. Texas have averaged 3.2 yards per design run this season.
25:33That's the fewest in the NFL, 30.4% success rate on design runs, the second lowest Jaguars run defense, 2.9 yards per design run this season.
25:41That's the fewest in the NFL and the fewest by any team through week five since 2023, the Seattle Seahawks.
25:47So it's brutal. We all know it's brutal, but I would say when it comes to Woody Marks, he faced his Jaguars
25:53team last year and he was the focal point of the backfield at that time as well, finished as RB10 on the week.
26:00He had 63 rushing yards. That is the second most rushing yards of any running back that has faced the Jaguars in
26:07the last two seasons, trailing only Jonathan Taylor. So I'm just saying, but there's proof of concept where Woody Marks has been
26:13an RB1 against his Jaguars defense before. And when you have such a high opportunity share in your backfield, this leads to ceiling outcomes.
26:21So he could stumble his way into the end zone and maybe they could use him in the passing game.
26:27He did have a little bit of a boost last week in terms of his targets out of the backfield.
26:33And we know he's a talented pass catcher based on what he did at the college level.
26:38So I just think there's a lot of outs for Woody Marks that I'm not willing to necessarily be too low on
26:44him just because the matchup when we saw it last week, right?
26:48Shipley paid off and he didn't play the full game just because he got opportunities and scored a touchdown.
26:54Fitzy, you have Marshawn Lloyd, I think it was 24 and you've got Marks at 22.
26:58Are these guys in that? Because you kind of had that hesitation like you don't want to, you know, push Marshawn Lloyd out there.
27:06Is there like a little bucket of these guys that are maybe outside the top 20 that you just are, you have
27:12like a general worry with or is maybe there a line where you feel a little bit more comfortable with Woody Marks
27:19than after that things start to falter? I would put these guys in different tiers because of the workloads.
27:24I think Lloyd is a committee back and Marks is going to be getting the backfield to himself this week.
27:30I mean, maybe Daré Agumawale gets a handful of touches.
27:33Maybe the Texans call up Jawar Jordan from the practice squad, but it's mostly going to be Marks.
27:39And yeah, I mean, Marks is averaging 3.5 yards per carry this year.
27:43He averaged 3.6 last year. 2.6 targets a game this year and only 4.2 yards per target.
27:48That stats paint kind of a bleak picture. It's kind of disappointing he hasn't moved the needle as a pass catcher, even
27:54though that was a big part of his appeal as a prospect coming out of USC.
27:59I do think Marks has looked better this year than he did last year, even if the numbers don't really quantify that assessment.
28:06It's just purely an eyeball thing for me. But the matchup is tough.
28:10I mean, Erickson talked about it. The Jaguars run defense number one in DVOA.
28:14They're giving up 42 rushing yards per game to running backs and 2.5 yards per carry to running backs.
28:20And even with the success, you can call a 62-yard rushing day success for Marks last year.
28:25I'm not buying that he has solved the Jaguars run defense.
28:28So I'm a little worried about the matchup, but I do think you have to lean into the volume.
28:34And if you've got Marks, you're probably playing him.
28:37He is an RB2 and a 14 bye week.
28:39Let's take a look at RB3s, the flex RBs, and all those backs that we're talking about, whether there's a little negative
28:46or positive, we're like, we're probably starting these guys.
28:49Oh boy. These are, this is the group where we're really going to have to put to the test where some of
28:55you guys are going to have to start. So let's talk about some of those names.
29:00Coming in, looking at the big board here, 25, O'Marrion Hampton.
29:03It's just still sick that he's in that range where we have to be concerned.
29:08J.K. Dobbins at 26, Alvin Kamara at 27, R.J.
29:11Harvey, Blake Corum, Keaton Mitchell, bottom half here, Damian Pierce, Kendra Miller, Brian Robinson, Tyler Algier, Rashad White, and Kenny Gainwell.
29:17One thing is not like the other, guys. There's so many names that we could talk about.
29:22Let's hone in on a couple. Let's talk about R.J.
29:25Harvey here for a second. Peyton took over. That was kind of the joke.
29:29I think, Fitzy, we did that on the waivers.
29:32We're like, hey, Peyton's going to take over. This will be great.
29:36And, you know, R.J. Harvey time, incorrect. It was not.
29:39Yet, he comes in at 28, and he's kind of right next to J.K.
29:43Dobbins. It's not a great matchup against Seattle. There's a part of me, is this a hedge thing?
29:48Fitzy, you got him lower, though. So, like, well, Fitzy, where does he deserve to be even a top 30 back right now at this point?
29:56Barely. Top 30. So, I've got him RB30. I mean, in week four, R.J.
30:00Harvey had 10 catches in the Broncos' loss to the 49ers.
30:03He went from 10 catches to zero catches last week, and the Broncos went over the Chargers.
30:09Variance is something in fantasy football, man. But I don't know if it's random variance in this case.
30:14Sean Payton took over play calling duties last week.
30:17And in Payton's first game of the season calling plays, J.K.
30:20Dobbins played 32 snaps, a season-high 51.6% snap share.
30:23R.J. Harvey, nine fewer snaps than Dobbins. And Payton just seemed hell-bent on getting the Denver running game going.
30:28Dobbins had a season-high 18 carries, 68 yards and a touchdown.
30:32I just worry that Payton's takeover of the play calling might not be that good for R.J.
30:37Harvey. That's what I was alluding to. That's exactly what I was alluding to, is Payton takes over and R.J.
30:43Harvey, poof. Erickson, you got him at 24, though.
30:45You have him as an RB2 this week. I'm guessing, because I don't see it, I'm guessing you have him over Dobbins.
30:52So, what gives you optimism that Harvey becomes more of a feature back this week against Seattle?
30:57Because they're not playing the Chargers defense this week, and they're playing the Seahawks defense, which is a much, much tougher matchup
31:04for a traditional in-between-the-tackles running back like J.K. Dobbins, when we've talked about this a lot, specifically on the Prop Show, and
31:10although the Prop did not come through with Christian McCaffrey going over his receptions, despite the fact that my sister got married
31:17at the exact same place that Christian McCaffrey did this past weekend, at the Ocean House, I texted him, I was like,
31:24this is the first time I'm ever going to take an over on Christian McCaffrey, the Props, because I'm in the same
31:30building that he got married in, because my sister was getting married, and of course, he lets me down.
31:36I got to be honest with you, it was kind of the sickest burn that happened, because Erickson just randomly out of
31:42the blue, because, you know, I was out last week, and so I've texted me that, I think I was in LA
31:49when you texted me that, and I'm like, this might be the greatest hit of all time, you're where he got married,
31:56and then he gets three catches, it was really a disappointment, especially in our world of wanting that stuff to hit.
32:02Yeah, so it did not come through, but for the most part this season, offenses have had a lot of success targeting
32:09running backs out of the backfield against this Seahawks defense.
32:12Six worse than EPA per pass attempt faced when it's been a backfield target, and the six most targets allowed to running backs.
32:18Last year, they ranked number one across the board in terms of running back receiving yards, targets, and receptions.
32:24Now, they've been better at corralling these running backs after the catch.
32:28The Seahawks have not been giving up nearly as much yards after the catch, but I think this is an opportunity where
32:34the Broncos have to take advantage of Harvey's abilities as a receiver.
32:38And although the snap counts, the opportunities were so greatly distributed last week between J.K.
32:42Dobbins, and yeah, I think Sean Payton obviously had a big role because he took over play calling.
32:48He was gun-ho on, okay, I gotta get J.K.
32:51Dobbins going. How good was that offense last week?
32:53Was anyone like, oh yeah, this offense is so back, like we are so inspired, Sean Payton, save us, please.
32:59I mean, it looked a lot like the Davis Webb offense, except they just gave J.K.
33:04Dobbins 20 carries. And it really wasn't that much more explosive against Seattle and that defense.
33:09I think that this is a brutal matchup for Dobbins.
33:12Again, excuse me, 18 carries, not 20, but 20 total opportunities because he caught two passes as well.
33:17Whereas Harvey, we saw Harvey have a big role in the receiving game last year when Sean Payton was calling play.
33:24So I'm not ready to just take one game out.
33:27Okay, Harvey's never going to catch another pass. J.K.
33:29Dobbins is going to see 18 carries per game because these guys both played last season and Harvey still had a role in the receiving game last year.
33:38So especially if they're facing a negative game script against the Seattle Seahawks, who I believe are favorites in this game, even
33:44though the Denver Broncos are playing at home, I think that Harvey bounces back here.
33:49I want to pick on that more and pick on you more about that.
33:53But the problem is, is like the names after Harvey too.
33:56We get like to your, to the point of what you're saying is, is like, I can agree with it, but I'd
34:03be like, well, I would rather see it happen on my bench and then move forward instead of putting it in my lineup.
34:10But this week with bi-weeks and the guys that are behind, it's not an inspiring group to be like, well, guys, Kendra
34:16Miller is so much more trustworthy than RJ Harvey.
34:19It's really not. Like, scheme-wise of what you're talking about makes a lot of sense.
34:23Let's go to another name though. This is, and by the way, Harvey was RB28.
34:28We now jump to RB29 on Fantasy Pro's ECR and that's Blake Corum.
34:32You guys both are higher on Corum than ECR, though Erickson, you are lower on Corum than RJ Harvey here.
34:38So talk to us about Corum and like where the, where the gap is between, you know, I mean, I guess volume is really never there.
34:46It's just, there's a touchdown equity. What's the gap for you with Corum and the potential upside of RJ Harvey?
34:52Well, I think Corum is capped because of the usage in the Rams offense, right?
34:56His touch rate is a career low, 45.9% this year, 27.8% snap share according to NextGenStats because, I mean, Kyron Williams has
35:03just been and it's a complete revelation this year.
35:05Again, he's doing everything that he did last year and then also catching passes.
35:10So he is going basically nuclear having a career year and that's just really hard for him to take off the field, right?
35:17So that's why he's up as RB5 in consensus rankings against the Arizona Cardinals.
35:21I think with Blake Corum, you're hoping second half, Rams are just absolutely destroying the Arizona Cardinals and Blake Corum gets more run in the second half.
35:29So I know I'm in a league where I've started Blake Corum as my RB2 basically every single week because I know
35:35he's good and sometimes it works out because he gets opportunities.
35:39You know he will take the most with the opportunities that he gets but it's just a matter of projecting those.
35:45So, but I do think in this particular matchup, it's really easy to see the picture of how he does get more
35:52involved especially in the second half because, I mean, as good as Kyron looked against the Bills, I mean, Blake Corum also looked really good.
35:59So these guys are both really talented and I wish there were more touches to go along in this Rams backfield but
36:06you can only feed so many playmakers when Puka Nikola gets 24 freaking targets in a game.
36:11Fitzy, this is actually one of the few where, when I was just talking about Harvey and I'm like not an inspiring
36:17group behind him, I would rather the floor and touchdown equity of Corum than the guessing game of RJ Harvey.
36:23Now, clearly your ranks are telling the same story but do you think Corum is one of those guys in this whole
36:30group of like the, you know, RB28 and beyond where at worst at least Corum has like a really nice floor compared
36:37to the imaginary upsides of a lot of these other guys?
36:40I don't know if he has a floor. Like he's really hard to peg week to week.
36:45Rams first two games, Corum had 10 touches, 13 touches.
36:48Both of those games were kind of blowouts. Blowout loss to the 49ers, blowout win over the, I think it was Eagles
36:55or no, I'm sorry, that was the Jackson dart game, the Giants, yeah.
36:59In the three games since which have all been really close, he's had eight, six, and eight touches.
37:04And I think last year, Corum wasn't playing a ton of snaps last year either but he was getting the touches on
37:11a big percentage of his snaps and that hasn't really been the case this week.
37:15So in week four, Corum played a season low 13 snaps, only had five carries, one catch, 21 yards from scrimmage.
37:21Then last week, not a ton of touches either but he had 53 receiving yards, scored his first touchdown of the season,
37:28finished RB 13 in PPR scoring for the week.
37:31Corum's previous single game high in receiving yardage over his career, 15 yards.
37:35He more than tripled that against the Bells last week.
37:38So I do think the passing game usage is kind of encouraging.
37:41Like he needs to get that if he's going to have standalone value.
37:45He's gotten four, two, and four targets over his last three games which doesn't sound like a lot but he had been
37:52a complete zero in the passing game. Like Stafford does not throw to his running backs very often.
37:57Kyron had been the only Rams running back getting any targets.
38:00So it's good to see Corum at least starting to get some usage as a pass catcher.
38:05All right, final one let's talk about and then we'll get a deep play from each one of you guys is Kendrick Miller.
38:12I actually mentioned him just a tiny bit ago.
38:15He is 32 on ECR. Solid matchup. Got the Giants touchdown last week.
38:19It's kind of a mess as far as, you know, who they're going to use.
38:23I think he was number two in snaps. Perhaps just it's a weird situation with the Saints.
38:29So Fitzy, how do you how are you going to approach when people are asking, hey, should I put Kendrick Miller in as a flex?
38:36You know, bye weeks are going to take out a lot of guys.
38:40You have Kendrick Miller at 29. Erickson's got him at 27.
38:43So you guys are actually both higher than ECR.
38:46So what is your week six thesis Fitzy on Kendrick Miller?
38:49Boy, it's really hard to figure out because you've got Alvin Kamara dealing with a back injury and last week Kendrick Miller
38:56out snapped Kamara 14 to 12, out touched Kamara 10 to 5 in a loss to the Vikings.
39:01But that was a weird game. The Saints only held the ball for like 20 minutes of clock time in that game.
39:08So you hope that doesn't repeat in which case maybe Kendrick Miller got 10 carries in a game where the Saints had the ball for 20 minutes.
39:16The problem for the Saints is that they can't get anything going with their running game whatsoever.
39:21Kamara's averaging 3.1 yards per carry this year. Miller 2.9 yards per carry.
39:25Absence of left tackle Kelvin Banks certainly is not helping things for the Saints.
39:29Banks has what's been described as a severe high ankle sprain.
39:32Miller only has four catches for 15 yards. Doesn't really add any receiving value whatsoever.
39:37That's entirely Kamara's domain even though Kamara's past catching efficiency is just completely cratered.
39:41So not a lot going in this backfield. I think you're just betting on Miller as a pretty good bet for double
39:48digit carries in a decent matchup against the Giants.
39:50Erickson Super Chat pops up. Hey Erickson who would you start this week as my RB2 Kendrick Miller or Blake Corum?
39:57Woof. Thank them first. Say thank you for the Super Chat.
40:00Thank you Welsh for the Super Chat. Thank you for the Super Chat.
40:04What did my rankings say? What I have Miller, RB27 and then Corum I have RB28.
40:09So yeah I guess I'm going with probably both be terrible and then it won't matter.
40:14Go with the guy in the good offense. That's kind of what I was thinking.
40:18That's why I would go with the higher offensive play.
40:21That's fair but what if he doesn't get any opportunities?
40:24Right? I feel maybe a little bit more confident about Kendrick Miller because I thought that the one thing that worked for
40:31the Saints offensively against the Vikings was they had one drive where they just gave Kendrick Miller the majority of his touches
40:37and they just kept feeding him and feeding him and eventually punched in for a score.
40:42Again he had 10 of the 20 opportunities for the running backs, 10 carries for 30 yards plus that 2 yard touchdown
40:49which a lot came on one significant drive. Now they all got out snapped by CJ Donaldson but that was because when
40:55you're getting blitzed like crazy against the Vikings defense, he's going to be out there more for pass protection.
41:01But that could also be something that happens in this game too against the New York Giants who have also been more
41:07blitz heavy since they lost Brian Burns and Shuck has not been good against the blitz this season.
41:13So I think that to slow that down they need to run the football and the big difference between the Giants defense
41:19and the Vikings defense is Giants can't stop the run.
41:22Second worst EPA per rush allowed this season. So if I'm Kellen Moore I'm like I have to feature my best running
41:29back on the ground and although it's not a great thing that Kendrick Miller is probably that guy, that's probably their best running back in between the tackles.
41:37Not Kamara, not CJ Donaldson, it's probably Kendrick Miller.
41:40So the fact he also got red zone opportunities last week suggests, okay, he's got some touchdown equity and I think that the matchup is pretty good.
41:48So I will go with Kendrick Miller more confident he gets more work than Blake Corum and I think his matchup is also really good.
41:56All right, outside the top, those are the top 36, that's a big board.
42:00But if we look outside of the 36 as people peruse the rankings, this could, these could even be players that maybe
42:07move up a little bit as the week goes on.
42:10Regardless of the point, these are a couple deep plays that you guys are locking into.
42:14Erickson, why don't you give us your RB deep play for week six?
42:18Going to go with Kalen Black running back for the San Francisco 49ers.
42:22Similar kind of bet to Blake Corum where it's good offense, maybe they blow out the defense that they're facing, he gets more work in the second half.
42:31I do think that Black is slated for more opportunities because there is no Debo Samuel.
42:35He was someone that was also seeing carries in this backfield.
42:39Now those carries may go to Kalen Black and the commanders defense.
42:42I know that they've been a little bit better against the run.
42:46I don't think it really matters when you're facing the 49ers and the Death Star.
42:50So on Monday Night Football, I think Kalen Black could get a decent amount of usage.
42:55Fitzy, outside the top 36, deeper play running back for you.
42:58I'm going to say George Helani, even though, well, I don't know.
43:02Both of these Seattle running backs are looking at spending time in fumble jail because I think Helani fumbled, I think, twice
43:09last week and that horrible one at the end of the first half.
43:13And Emmanuel Wilson has fumbled twice in the last two weeks.
43:16So but if one or the other ends up in fumble jail, the other benefits.
43:20So maybe Helani is the guy who wins a bench for fumbling and will or maybe Wilson does.
43:26Excuse me. I mean, Helani's in so and the matchup is the other thing that Broncos have not been good at tackling
43:32this year and they've given up the fifth most receptions and the fifth most receiving yards to running backs.
43:38And Helani is kind of the passing down back for Seattle.
43:41So maybe he benefits from this matchup. Want to petition for a fumble jail, just like a blue tent on the sidelines
43:48that we could just have as soon as they fumble.
43:51It's like a two minute box like for fighting and hockey.
43:54They just have to go and fumble jail for a couple minutes and they can't do anything.
43:59Please let us have that. All right, there you go.
