A.J. Brown

PositiveRole34:22

AJ Brown is a boom-bust candidate who benefits from a new landing spot with Drake Maye and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. The source expects increased creativity, including slot usage, to maximize Brown's production. Despite minor concerns about age-related decline, his ability to win in tight coverage and the team's commitment to him suggest he will maintain a near full-time snap share.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveUsage77:39

The source expects Breece Hall to return to a bell-cow role, citing reports that the Jets are focusing on him as the primary back over Braylon Allen and Isaiah Davis. With an improved offensive line and quarterback play, the source believes Hall has RB1 upside and is currently undervalued in drafts, noting he is a strong candidate to improve upon last year's five-touchdown total.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveBreakout14:18

Ranked 18th-19th overall, Bowers is viewed as a potential league-winner with a rare ceiling. The source compares his potential impact to prime Travis Kelce, noting his elite target share potential and the likelihood of Clint Kubiak utilizing heavy personnel to funnel targets to him.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveUsage5:30

The source ranks Chase Brown 14th overall, citing his role in an explosive Bengals offense, lack of backfield competition, and his status as the primary goal-line back. He played 74% of red zone snaps last year (RB5 in that metric).

Insight page

Chris Godwin

PositiveBreakout77:43

Chris Godwin is a major target following Mike Evans' departure. He was the WR9 through week 11 as a rookie and is expected to thrive in Zach Robinson's offense, playing the Z/slot role that previously fueled Cooper Kupp's triple-crown season.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeUsage74:40

Chris Olave is a high-end WR2 who saw his ADOT drop to 11.8 yards last year as he received more high-percentage targets. While he is an excellent player, the emergence of Jordan Tyson as a target-share threat and Olave's history of nagging injuries create some volatility.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeProjection2:12

The source ranks Achane 13th overall, noting he is a proven talent who has 'done it before.' While there is some debate regarding his environment compared to previous years, the source maintains a high ranking based on his established track record.

Insight page
NegativeProjection18:33

The source ranks Achane 18th overall, expressing concern that his production will decline without Mike McDaniel's scheme. The potential for fewer running back targets under Malik Willis and a shift in offensive environment creates downside risk for his fantasy output.

Insight page
PositiveValue19:29

Despite concerns about a potential decline in target share and the team environment compared to previous years, Devon Achane remains an early second-round value. He averaged 20 fantasy points per game in full PPR last year, meaning he can lose significant production and still be a high-end pick. He is considered a superior talent to Ash Gentry, and the Dolphins' offensive line is viewed as favorable.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection7:12

Ranked 16th overall, Henry is projected for a league-high 12.5 rushing touchdowns. Despite age concerns, the source highlights his efficiency in Baltimore, aided by Lamar Jackson, and notes he remains an elite outlier comparable to historical greats like Walter Payton.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveProjection72:07

The source is high on Devontae Smith, ranking him 25th overall. The reasoning centers on an improved Eagles rushing attack and offensive line, which should force single-high safety looks and create one-on-one opportunities for Smith. The source highlights his elite production in games without AJ Brown, where he has averaged 89 yards per game and a 29% target share.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveUsage21:40

Drake London has been the WR5 in usage since 2024, with only Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase seeing a higher target share. The source expects Kevin Stefanski to utilize London in the slot, where he has been highly effective, potentially creating a high-level tandem with Kyle Pitts. With the Falcons' defense losing key edge rushers, London is projected to see significant garbage-time production.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveUsage28:15

George Pickens is a high-upside pick who saw a significant shift in his route tree last year, with 61% of his targets coming within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage, providing a higher floor. Despite this change, he maintained his ability to make big plays downfield and tied for the second-most end-zone targets in the NFL (18). He is expected to have a monster season in a high-powered Cowboys offense.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveRole71:05

Javonte Williams is viewed as a safe workload play in a high-scoring Cowboys offense. Despite concerns about Jaden Blue taking passing-down work, Williams is expected to dominate goal-line touches, making him a viable fantasy asset.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeUsage2:36

The source notes that while Jaylen Wright has speed and fits the Mike McDaniel offense, there is a risk of a three-back committee involving Kamani Vidal and Keaton Mitchell, which could limit his standalone value despite his explosive potential.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveBreakout38:33

As the third overall pick, Jeremiah Love is expected to play a significant role for the Cardinals. While the backfield situation with James Conner and Tyler Allgeier adds some uncertainty, Love is viewed as a superior prospect to previous rookie runners like Ash Gentry. The source is betting on his talent and the improved Cardinals offense to provide value in the boom-bust tier.

Insight page
PositiveProjection65:07

The source views Jeremiah Love as an upside RB2, noting that while the Cardinals' offense is projected to struggle, the team environment and rookie hype make him a buy. The source ranks him between 25th and 30th overall, acknowledging that while he may not receive the 84.6% touch share seen by previous backs in this system, his dual-threat ability in the rushing and receiving game provides significant upside.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveValue59:26

Josh Allen is a consistent elite producer, finishing as QB1, QB3, QB1, and QB1 over the last four seasons. While he is a 'tiebreaker' in draft strategy, he is a strong target in the third round because of his rushing floor, specifically leading the NFL with 13 rushing touchdowns inside the 10-yard line.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeUsage58:25

The source suggests Josh Jacobs is more likely to face a suspension than Puka Nacua, though it remains unlikely, placing it in the 'possible' category.

Insight page
NegativeValue93:59

The source views Josh Jacobs as a strong value at his current ADP, highlighting his consistent production as a workhorse back and the expectation that the Packers' offensive line health will improve. While acknowledging potential suspension risk and the emergence of Marshawn Lloyd, the source argues that the negative sentiment surrounding Jacobs is being double-counted, making him a solid pick at 27th overall.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection2:26

The source ranks Kenneth Walker 13th overall, placing him in a tier of players they feel good about. He is viewed as a reliable option compared to younger or unproven players in the same draft range.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeUsage62:28

Kyren Williams finished as the RB11 in points per game last year despite a split backfield and the Rams having the fourth-highest pass rate. He remains a high-value red zone asset, ranking top-three in red zone rushing scores over the last three seasons. However, concerns persist regarding Blake Corum's role and potential offensive regression.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveBreakout30:33

Malik Nabers is considered a superior talent to his peers, with a skill set comparable to Ja'Marr Chase. After initial injury concerns, he is on track for Week 1, leading the source to be 'all the way back in' on him. Despite the Giants' offensive struggles, Nabers has shown top-six scoring potential and is expected to be the primary focus of the passing game.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeProjection24:37

Nico Collins is viewed as a top-five wide receiver on tape, but his fantasy production is hindered by poor red-zone efficiency. The Texans finished 32nd in red-zone touchdown percentage (32%), a stat expected to regress positively. While there is concern about his target volume compared to peers, he remains a top-tier target who could reach round-one value if the team incorporates more manufactured touches like screens.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeValue83:33

The source ranks Rashee Rice 26th overall, emphasizing his proven efficiency (averaging over 15 fantasy points per game when active) and high target share inside the 10-yard line. However, the source notes significant concerns regarding his knee injury, off-field risks, and potential target competition from Kenneth Walker and Xavier Worthy, leading to a wide range of opinions among analysts.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveProjection65:25

Tee Higgins is a strong target in the third/fourth round. In 39 games with a healthy Joe Burrow since 2022, he averages 15 full PPR points per game. He offers 'free roll' upside if Ja'Marr Chase misses time, and his role has evolved to include more high-volume underneath work.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveProjection72:26

Travis Etienne (now requesting to be called Achan) is a major 'flag plant' for the source. He is expected to play a massive role in a Saints offense that was the league leader in neutral pace last year. He has recorded 1,399 total yards in three of his four seasons and is expected to dominate the backfield over Alvin Kamara.

Insight page

Trey McBride

NegativeProjection88:58

The source is cautious about Trey McBride repeating his TE1 overall performance, noting that the Cardinals' extreme pass-heavy volume from last year is unlikely to continue under the new coaching staff. While acknowledging McBride's elite talent, the source expects a reduction in volume due to a more balanced offense and increased competition for targets, leading to a lower ranking (34th overall).

Insight page

Zamir White

NegativeValue10:19

The source ranks Zamir White 17th overall, which is significantly lower than his ADP (12th overall in best ball). The source expresses skepticism regarding his talent level compared to elite backs and notes a difficult early-season schedule.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveUsage68:07

Zay Flowers is an upside WR2. While his red zone target share was only 16% last year, the arrival of Declan Doyle could lead to a more pass-heavy approach and better red zone utilization. He is a strong value if he simply repeats his previous production.

0:00A massive episode today. Last week you loved when Hayden Winks and I told you how the first round was all out
0:06of whack, how it was all wrong. So today we go with 13 through 36.
0:11Yes, rounds two and three, we give you our rankings versus the public versus where everyone is being drafted.
0:16Basically you see our favorite players and who you should draft in rounds two and rounds three.
0:21That's all coming up here on Yahoo Fantasy Football with Josh and Hayden Winks.
0:25Last week we told you everything that's wrong with the first round of your fantasy draft.
0:30You love that video so much that we are back.
0:33Yes, we're back this week with rounds two and rounds three, our top 36 overall for you to love and to hate.
0:39Yeah, the first 12 or so names I felt really good about and then you really get into kind of the boom
0:46bust guys that are going to settle your league.
0:48So no pressure for us today. Yeah, these are kind of the difference makers and if you thought the top 12 was
0:55all out of whack just wait to see the 12 through 36 names.
0:59Speaking of Hayden, let's do a reset here at the top just so the people if you want to go and watch further conversations about our top 12.
1:07We'll just list them off here from one to 12.
1:10So you go first. I got Jameer Gibbs, Puka Nakua, Jamar Chase, Bijan Robinson kind of a tear break after the top four.
1:16Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor, Amon Ross, St. Brown, Jackson Smith and Jigba.
1:20I'll call that a tear break. Then you get to Kenneth Walker, CeeD Lamb, Justin Jefferson.
1:25Now that we have Kyler Murray named the starting quarterback and then number 12 Saquon Barkley.
1:29These are all rankings here at this very moment.
1:32I haven't put the date on Tuesday, August 11th at 3 o'clock Eastern.
1:36And these are subject to change because Hayden, as you were saying that Puka Nakua was dragged off the practice field with the trainer.
1:43So we'll see what happens if there's an update after this one.
1:46Okay. My top 12. One, Gibbs. Two, Bijan Robinson.
1:49Three, Jamar Chase. Four, Puka Nakua. Five, Amon Ross, St.
1:52Brown. Six, CMC. Seven, Saquon Barkley. Eight, Jackson Smith and Jigba.
1:55Nine, Justin Jefferson. Ten, Jonathan Taylor. Eleven, CeeDee Lamb.
1:58And 12, yes, I have James Cook. But Hayden, we talk about this all the time.
2:02When we're drafting on the turn, we believe like those next two picks are also first round quality.
2:07So before we get into a player-by-player discussion here, who are your picks, 13 and 14?
2:12Devon, H.N., James Cook. They've just done it before.
2:15I think the next group of guys have either done it a lot and are older or haven't quite done it yet, but we feel good about it.
2:23We'll talk about H.N. here in a moment. I have Ken Walker at 13 and then Chase Brown at 14.
2:29All right. The big conversation, though, starts for us together at 15 overall.
2:33I'll kick this one off because I have Omari and Hampton here.
2:36Look, you and I have individual concerns maybe about his style and his game and his skills.
2:41But I'm kind of putting that to the side and focusing in on what he does well, the areas where he wins,
2:47and how that's going to be accentuated attached to Mike McDaniel, who had the running back five in points per game last
2:54year, running back 11 in points per game the year before that, and then a cool running back three and four in points per game in 2023.
3:02I am simply betting on big man, runs fast, and an offense that allows him to not be contacted until he's beyond the line of scrimmage.
3:09And on 52 runs when Hampton was first contacted beyond the line of scrimmage last year, he averaged 7.4 yards per rush,
3:16which is seventh best in the league. Yeah, with three or fewer yards to go, that was negative 40 rush yards over expected, the negative 40 percent.
3:24But on the four plus yards to go, plus 21 percent, I thought he was really good kind of running off tackle
3:30when his decision making didn't have to be quite as crisp.
3:33I think that he ran a little hesitant at times between the tackles, but this is the right offense for him.
3:39We just get him out on the perimeter, and it's hard to tackle a guy that's that big and that fast.
3:45I have him ranked to 24th overall, RB12. That is like as low as I possibly can rank him, and there's a
3:52bunch of wide receivers that I'm kind of debating between, wide receiver versus running back with Hampton.
3:57I think that Kamani Vidal is a much better pass protector.
4:00I think that Keaton Mitchell is also a great fit in this offense.
4:04We've seen this repeatedly from Mike McGill saying that he wants to use all three of them.
4:09Obviously, this is August, you know, coach speed just hyping up all of his guys.
4:13But I would not be surprised if this is a little bit more of a three-back committee, at least compared to all
4:20the other running backs that get drafted in the second round.
4:23So I can just kind of see this being a little bit of a thorn in his side, but at the same time, like he's a first rounder.
4:31This offense is going to go crazy, and I don't want to be completely out on him.
4:36Totally. Too often, maybe I focus in on my individual thoughts on a player and lose sight of like focusing on the tree versus the forest.
4:44And man, the forest is beautiful. It's glistening. It's all different colors here with Mike McDaniel.
4:48And yeah, we talked about on the show with Nate how right now the charges are projected for like the 15th most points.
4:55I could easily see them top five in points.
4:58And 70 games, Mike McDaniel has been a play caller.
5:00Running backs go for 10-plus yard gains on 14% of the time.
5:04That's the third best mark in the league over that span.
5:07And also how this team utilizes 21 and 12 personnel.
5:10I think that's going to allow Martin Hampton to maybe mask some of his pass protection flaws and just get him out
5:16in a route and have Alec Ingold or a second tight end pass protect and be the extra protection help there.
5:23So Hampton even caught five or more passes in four of his games last season.
5:27All right. Who was your 15th overall player? This is where I have Chase Brown.
5:31I'll just view him in a similarly explosive offense.
5:34I just trust Chase Brown a little bit more.
5:37And at least the competition behind him is not nearly as fierce in my eyes.
5:41In six games with Joe Burrow last year, he was the RB5 and RB4 usage.
5:45Over the last 21 games with Joe Burrow, he's been the RB12 and RB5 usage.
5:50I think every year the Bengals offensive line just gets like one tier better.
5:54I would call them like closer to about league average.
5:57They have some like real athletic freaks up front or some really big, powerful offensive linemen.
6:01He's just like really like solidified. I thought at times he was like a little bit hesitant as a runner and didn't finish runs.
6:08And I think as he's gotten a little bit older, a little bit stronger, I think that he's like really turned into like a well-rounded back.
6:16This offense is going to go absolutely crazy. He's the goal line guy.
6:20He's going to catch some passes. There's really like nothing negative you can say other than like he's not a truly game-breaking running back.
6:27I'm here for the volume. I'm here for touchdowns.
6:29That's what he does whenever Joe Burrow is healthy.
6:32I think he has the best environment of any running back in the NFL right now.
6:37That might sound outlandish, but when you think about his role, the lack of competition and how many points the Bengals can
6:43score every single week, it's definitely true. Plus all five offensive linemen returning as starters to this team.
6:48Like I previously said, he's my 14th overall player.
6:51I won't go on and on about this, but while maybe he's not the biggest back and what we perceive as, you
6:57know, a feature or a bell cow, he did play 74% of the team snaps in the red zone last year, which
7:04was running back five on the season. So I absolutely love me some Chase Brown this season.
7:09Okay, let's get back on track. Who's your 16th overall player?
7:12This is where I have Derek Henry. And this is definitely discounting him because of his age and workload over the years.
7:18And like, even with that discount, you really can't push him down much further than this.
7:23In fact, if you look at the live betting markets, nobody has more projected rushing touchdowns than Derek Henry at 12 and a half.
7:30Over the last two seasons as a Raven, he's been the RB5 on RB13 usage.
7:34His efficiency has been better in Baltimore than it has been with the Titans.
7:39The reason being you have Lamar Jackson to take away some of the threat from defensive ends and linebackers.
7:44And all of a sudden his yards per carry can go up.
7:48I would say that offensive line makes me kind of nervous versus previous offensive lines with Lamar Jackson.
7:53So maybe I'm taking that into account as well.
7:55But still, he's the RB2 and EPA per carry over the last two seasons.
8:00RB1 and rush yards over expected last season. You know, like I still think he's what, 85, 90% of himself.
8:05And that's been really good for him. Throw in no Keaton Mitchell, no Isaiah Likely.
8:10We'll see if he, you know, is even more involved.
8:13I mean, 16 touchdowns when he turned 31 years of age last year.
8:16He's also my 16th overall player. It's difficult because I want to rank him higher.
8:21And maybe I just get attracted to these flashy younger objects and find it very difficult to rank Derek Henry any higher than this.
8:28Here's a nutso stat from the great Rich Rebar.
8:30Okay. As of right now, only nine other players in league history have as many seasons with double digit touchdowns as Derek Henry.
8:37But if he does it again, if he gets at least 10 touchdowns this season, he joins a club of only Jerry
8:44Rice, LaDainian Tomlinson, Emmitt Smith and Randy Moss. I mean, those are truly some of the best to ever play the game.
8:50And after this season, if he just does even worse than he has in previous years, then we add Derek Henry to that mark.
8:57And that is wild. Nuts. My note from last year, he had the fifth most half PPR points in NFL history for an age 31 running back.
9:05If you remain the fifth most points for a 32 year old, that would be about 225 fantasy points.
9:10Only Walter Payton and John Riggins have scored more than the 259 fantasy points as a 32 or older running back.
9:17So we're talking about like, he's still that rare guy.
9:19I just threw out a stat with him and Walter Payton.
9:23So I see him still running the hills and stuff.
9:26He still looks exceptional to me. So he's gonna hold the line for one more year here.
9:31Yeah. So often we talk about players when they're 31, 32 hitting the age cliff, especially with running backs.
9:36It's even earlier than this. But aliens are different.
9:39Literally the players who are the best ever at their position often trump that.
9:43Right. We saw it with Travis Kelsey and around this age, and he was still posting fantasy breaking seasons.
9:48And Derek Henry is still doing somewhat the same thing.
9:51They've reshuffled their offensive line. You know, they lost Tyler Linderbaum.
9:54They've hopefully improved their guard spots. You know, bringing back John Simpson, taking Vega in round one.
9:59And that was a huge. Yeah, that was a huge benefit for them because last year that was a weakness.
10:05So hopefully some combination of Danny Pinter and Ethan Posich have a nice camp and then a good start to the season at center.
10:12Okay. Derek Henry is our 16th ranked player. The two of us.
10:16Who's 17 for you? This is where I have Ashton Gentry.
10:19You know, this is just a situation where the Raiders aren't projected for nearly as many points.
10:24That offensive line will be better this year because you return left tackle Colton Miller.
10:28You add Tyler Linderbaum from Derek Henry here. But at the same time, I still don't feel quite comfortable with the three other offensive lines options.
10:36So we'll see. Quarterback plays remaining a mystery to me with Kirk Cousins.
10:40And then I really like Fernando Mendoza. But we're talking about, you know, half of a season Fernando Mendoza and rookies tend to not play all that well.
10:48Even a lot of the best ones in the NFL long term.
10:51So and then I just go back to the Ashton Gentry tape himself.
10:55I just didn't see like the Saquon Barkley level, the Derek Henry level talent.
10:59I would put him at one tier down below that.
11:02But if you're trying to find explosives to account for the lack of touchdowns that he's expected to score versus Derek Henry,
11:09I have to just keep him in kind of this tier.
11:12So I think like him versus Devon A-chain to me is a kind of like an interesting conversation because those offenses probably aren't going to be that great.
11:20I just think that Devon is just a much better player.
11:23And I think that's why I have him ranked at the top of this tier rather towards the bottom of it.
11:29This is so tough because I'm not an anti-Ashton Gentry person.
11:32I'm just pro Saquon, Ken Walker, Chase Brown. We just talked about Derek Henry.
11:37And for that reason, in most leagues, 90% of them this year, I'm not going to wind up with Ashton Gentry just
11:43because of where I rank him in comparison to where he's drafted.
11:46I mean, we just look at it. He's the 2-1 over on Yahoo over the last few days.
11:52In best ball formats, he's the 12th overall pick.
11:54If you look in expert consensus rankings, he is the 12th overall player on top of that.
11:59And here we have him 17th, which is really freaking high.
12:02But we're just not going to end up with a lot of it.
12:06I guess it comes back to me where, yeah, he's going to get the opportunity.
12:11He got the opportunity last year, too. He handled 84% of the backfield touches.
12:15That was the second most in the league, 0.1% behind Jonathan Taylor.
12:18And he still finishes the running back 17 in points per game.
12:22And like in my head, Hayden, it's tough to rank him any higher when he finishes the running back 17 in points per game last year.
12:29And I have 17 overall this year. And yet that's still way lower than consensus.
12:34So it's frustrating. It's frustrating. Yeah, definitely. So I would still be absolutely surprised if he's not a top 12 running back.
12:40But just because of that, I can't just rank him inside the top 12.
12:44So this is where I'm just looking at the environments around him.
12:48And then I would just say, maybe I'm not quite as high as everybody else is on Ashton Gentry.
12:53He's definitely a very good player, really great on contact.
12:56He can catch the ball. I do think that there is a difference in just like the overall pace of play that
13:03he brings, whether that's decision making or first step.
13:05And I think those traits are pretty important. Him going at 17th overall, and actually much higher than that, is already a
13:12jump from awful to an average offensive line. And man, I just hate possibly missing out on this leap just because I
13:18feel like I'm being realistic with my expectations. Yeah.
13:21But we get excited all the time in fantasy, and it doesn't work.
13:24They also face the Chargers, the Chiefs, the Patriots, the Bills, and the Rams before week seven, which is their buy.
13:31So it's a week one can be there because it's the Miami Dolphins.
13:34But after that, it's kind of tough sledding here.
13:37But, you know, I'm just hoping they give him the line of scrimmage a bit more often because he was contacted beyond it.
13:44He averaged 6.8 yards per carry. Okay, before we go any further, this is what we like to do on the channel.
13:50Give you videos to hopefully help you win your fantasy leagues this year.
13:54Hit subscribe. It's totally free to all of you.
13:57Leave a thumbs up so YouTube knows that you checked out this episode.
14:00We've got two more videos this week. And then the party really starts with preseason action this weekend.
14:06And we are back next week with tons of ranking shows to help you win your fantasy draft.
14:11All right. Your 18th overall player is who? This is where I got Brock Bowers and I almost put Brock Bowers ahead of Ashton Gentry.
14:18I stopped myself. I saw it in full PPR.
14:21This would get a lot tighter. But yeah, with Brock Bowers, I think that he can be the next Travis Kelsey for
14:27fantasy football in his first two seasons. His 65 yards per game are the most since at least 2000.
14:33It might even be like even like of all time.
14:36The closest comps, it's Kittle, Shockey, Gronk, Jimmy Graham, Aaron Hernandez.
14:39This kind of cohort of player, they get better in the third season.
14:43Like when you're already elite in your first and second season, you only get better from there.
14:48Quarterback play is obviously way better. He seems like he's actually healthy coming off of that lingering knee injury.
14:53So it really just comes down to like positional value and how close he can actually get to being just like, you
15:00know, your Drake, London, CD Lamb, Justin Jefferson tier.
15:02It's hard to get to, you know, 1200, 1300 yards at tight ends.
15:06I think he's capable of doing it. And you're looking around.
15:09It's Trey Tucker. It's Jalen Naylor behind him. We're not talking about a huge threat.
15:14So I think that he can be up there in that rare category in terms of target share.
15:19And that's how I have him definitely a tier above Trey McBride.
15:22I have Brock Bowers one spot after as 19th overall.
15:25He really might be the player that you need this year in fantasy football.
15:29And you brought up prime Travis Kelsey. That was around the 2020 season where he averaged 17.4 points per game.
15:35Comparing that to the tight end five, which again, you have a top five tight end in football on your fancy roster in any given week.
15:43That was 9.4 fancy points. That gives you a leg up an advantage of eight points every single week.
15:48Think of all your matchups. How many come down to eight fancy points?
15:52And Brock Bowers can give you that on any given week.
15:55And last year, the Raiders were 29th in passing plays that gained 10 or more yards just the rate of them.
16:01Clint Kubiak his last two spots, which by the way, they were not perceived to be downfield explosive passing attacks in New Orleans and then in Seattle.
16:09They were second and 12th. So I know it's easy.
16:12And we asked this question, hey, why can't Clint Kubiak just make Brock Bowers this year's JSN?
16:17Maybe it is that easy. Maybe he can. Maybe they came build it around him and have him be the son.
16:23And if so, Hayden, you can get JSN in the first round and you get JSN in the second round.
16:29Why not? Yeah, I think easier said than done doing with a legit tight end.
16:33And then also the Travis Kelsey stuff we're talking about, like, you know, prime Mahomes era.
16:38So I think that's the difference here. And they were like 14 and two those seasons.
16:43Right. So it's different. So that's where, like, I'm having this conflict of, I think that he could be Travis Kelsey on tape and be the offense.
16:51And at the same time, like we just talked about Dash and Jenty, that might mean, you know, like seven and a
16:57half touchdowns, which the markets are projecting right now, which would be, you know, round two, round three, rather than like the round one.
17:04So like this is about as high as I can get mathematically with Brock Bowers before the season starts.
17:10And he has like one of the rare ceilings to chase, like among on a bad offense.
17:15Okay. I'll tell you how it can be easy.
17:17Well, not easy, but maybe achievable to get him a broken record in terms of targets and catches.
17:22This team just lives out of heavier personnel sets.
17:25All those wide receivers you mentioned. What if they say, hey, let's not even try with that stuff.
17:30And instead, it's not just 12 personnel with Michael Mayer.
17:33It's 21 with Connor Hayward at the same time, which they wanted to run in Seattle, right, with Robbie Oots.
17:39And then they resorted to more 12 personnel stuff.
17:42Because in those environments, in those personnel groupings, that made up 51% of Jason's, excuse me, that made up 38% of Jason's
17:48snaps last year and 51% of his production. And so more and more stuff can just be funneled in those heavier personnel sets to Brock Bowers.
17:56And I would expect Clint Kubiak to want to live out of those this year.
18:00And even their tight end three is Ian Thomas, who's like been around the league forever.
18:05Like he can definitely be a blocking type to kind of unlock that.
18:09So yeah, this is like, it's as clean as it gets in terms of target share projected receptions and yards and all that type of stuff.
18:16So I think the only thing is just, you know, Drake London and Nico Collins and George Pickens.
18:21Like these guys are candidates for 1400 yards themselves.
18:24I think that's the debate. Yeah, the term gets thrown around way too often, but he can be a league winner.
18:30It's that simple. My 18th player is Devon HN.
18:33And maybe I should move him ahead of Ashton Gentry because this hurts.
18:37Like the viewers know that I was relentlessly drafting Devon HN last year and it paid off in a big way as running back five.
18:44Uh, and then now I have him as my 18th overall player.
18:47Uh, he got 19 touches per game. I'm just a little bit nervous that this environment without Mike McDaniel, uh, is going
18:54to drop down a couple of tears and a couple of notches.
18:57And look, maybe where he's going as, you know, a one, two turn player factors that in.
19:02And I'm just overcompensating a little bit, but even being attached to Malik Willis, who I actually like as an improved passer,
19:09as someone that is reading the field during his time in Green Bay.
19:12And just turn that Baltimore Ravens game last year and you see him hitting like every single blade of grass, but we
19:19know he's a big scrambler because that's one of the best assets that he brings to the table.
19:24Um, highest in the league last year during his time in Green Bay and before that too.
19:29And then he only targeted running backs on 10% of the time with the Packers.
19:33So you have the extended plays, you have the running back targets that both of those might be moving away here from Devon HN.
19:40And we know HN was fourth in targets per game last year and fourth in receiving yards per game on top of it.
19:47So while I hear Jeff Halfley and him saying, Hey, we're going to run you into the mud and we're going to
19:54have to drag you off the field. Uh, that's nice.
19:56And I actually think that Devon HN is an underrated between the tackles runner.
20:01I just can't get on board with this environment being as good as the one he's been in the past couple of years.
20:07I've gotten 13th overall. I put this one into like the trust me, bro, uh, kind of category of like, well, he's so good.
20:14And I think that the lack of target competition around him is going to force receptions to him.
20:19Like we've seen before slow. I could just watch McDaniel do it with Devon HN.
20:24And I know Malik Willis is going to scramble that I'd rather him scramble than take sacks.
20:29And I think the reasons he's going to be scrambling are, you know, when they're actually trying to throw the ball to
20:35the wide receivers, that's when he's going to scramble.
20:38Like when they want to get the ball to Devon HN, he's going to catch passes.
20:43I think just looking at Gentry versus HN, I think that Malik Willis is probably just about as good as a rookie
20:49year for Nana Mendoza in a part season plus Kirk Cousins.
20:52I think that the offensive line is definitely favorable for the Dolphins versus the Raiders.
20:57And I think Devon HN is just a better football player than Ash and Gentry.
21:01So that's the reason why I have those two guys in the same tier, but just I'm going towards Devon HN.
21:07And there is a lot of room for him to drop multiple tiers and still be worthy of an early second round pick.
21:14He averaged 20 freaking fantasy points per game in full PPR last year.
21:18So you can chop off four or five of them and he's still an awesome pick in early round two.
21:23Oh, I agree. That's why I'm 18th overall. And I'll consider everything you just said for a rankings update in the near future.
21:30By the way, you can check out our rankings, half PPR and full PPR.
21:34They're in the description down below over on Yahoo.
21:37Okay. I said my 19th ranked player is Brock Bowers.
21:40Who is yours? I'm going with Drake London. I just listened to an interview with him with Robert Mays.
21:45First of all, just like so smart, so calculated, like just an awesome, awesome player.
21:50Yeah, it's what happens when you go learn from University of Southern California.
21:53Not everyone that comes from there is so articulate, but you know, it happens.
21:57Neither am I. Uh, but Drake London has been the wider receiver five since, uh, I don't know if you're talking about Mark Sancho.
22:04There's some other ones, you know, that it hasn't been exactly clean out of USC recently.
22:09Uh, he's been the wider receiver five since 2024.
22:12You know, that's pretty good. Uh, that's on wider receiver five usage.
22:15Um, last year, obviously dealt with that PCL injury.
22:18Everything seems like he's in good shape. Only Justin Jefferson and Jamar Chase have had a higher target share over that span.
22:24They're adding Zachariah Branch, a former Trojan himself. Uh, uh, Jahan Dotson, Olimita Zikias.
22:28I mean, it's just going to be all Drake London here.
22:32I think that too was a good fit for Drake London.
22:35He got, he made it work with Michael Pennick still.
22:38And then I think Kevin Stansky is smart enough to keep Drake London in the slot where he absolutely started cooking everybody.
22:44I have a feeling you're going to be one spot ahead of me on like the next 10 players.
22:50I have Drake London at 20th overall, uh, finished as the wide receiver seven last year.
22:54That was next to the running back three in points per game on a team that was 23rd in points.
23:00They're projected for the same exact area this year.
23:03I'll be at a ton of turnover on this team with coaches and quarterbacks, uh, about 25th in points.
23:08So I'm excited to see what Stefanski does in terms of using him in tandem with cow pits because Drake London was,
23:15has been so good when he's been in the slot.
23:18Like when he's in the slot, he is getting the football and it goes for a first down or touchdown.
23:24And it's, it is awesome stuff, but that might only be about 30% of the snaps.
23:28Um, but yeah, I mean, you can really work one side of the field with him and cow pits at a really
23:35high level and then kind of forget about all the other guys that, that you mentioned and go from there.
23:40Well, I think part of forgetting it is the defense and they just lost James Pierce to, you know, like prison.
23:47And then also he's going to be suspended for a very long time.
23:50Yes. Like he's in the, he's working with a third team because they do not expect him to play this year.
23:56So that's their first, uh, edge rushers one and two gone like Drake London in garbage time is going to absolutely go crazy this year.
24:04Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, uh, typically we talk about good players on good teams.
24:08Neither one of us think the Falcons are going to be a good team this year, but with Stefanski, I think he's
24:14going to be able to get the most out of both of these players like Zach Robinson did last year at the
24:21same time because the Falcons weren't good last year either.
24:24Yep. Yeah. Bowers versus London. It's like almost the exact same situation.
24:27It's just at different positions really. And are they different positions?
24:30It's not really. Yeah. Uh, okay. He's my 20th overall player.
24:34So who is yours? Uh, that's where I got Nico Collins here.
24:37Um, just total monster, six foot four, 222 pounds at one point last year.
24:41We had the fastest miles per hour, uh, based off the next gen stats, tracking data.
24:46He's been fantastic. Whenever he's targeted, we're talking about wide receiver three in yards per target.
24:50Uh, since 2023 wide receiver six and EPA per target.
24:53That's when like that stretch of the Texans defense and CJ Stroud were not firing on all cylinders last year, the real
25:00big difference was just the Texans in the red zone.
25:03They were 32nd in percentage of the red zone drives finishing with the touchdown at 32%.
25:07Uh, that's a stat that we want to be buying into because typically that regresses towards the mean, uh, 19 red zone
25:14targets to Nico Collins result in 3.1 yards per target, negative 8% completion percentage over expected 37% success rate in just three touchdowns.
25:20Like there's no reason Nico Collins should go three of 19 for touchdowns in the red area.
25:25This is the type of stuff that regresses positively.
25:28If you were asking me to just rank wide receivers, just by themselves on tape, Nico Collins is absolutely inside my top five.
25:35He's one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and all the negative stuff about the Texans fully priced in at this price tag.
25:42He's my 21st overall player. And I have the same exact notes when it comes to the red zone stuff.
25:48I mean, he was 26th in red zone production for fantasy, despite having the eighth best opportunity, according to Reeves, his numbers.
25:54I mean, like you said, 14 end zone targets, and that only resulted in four touchdowns.
25:59He had 54% of the end zone targets for the team and 33% of the red zone targets already.
26:05And then that's just six total touchdowns. Like it's just not enough.
26:08And speak of not enough, like in his first two years with CJ Stroud, 5.3 and 5.7 receptions.
26:13And then last year, that's down to 4.7 catches per game.
26:16And I guess my question is, does it stay at that mark?
26:20Does it stay that way with Higgins in the second year?
26:23Tank Dell is returning. Demont in the run game.
26:26One of the best defenses in the league. So I love both big play and gimme wide receivers in the top two rounds.
26:33I am still ranking Nico Collins at this top area, but I am concerned.
26:37And it's a weird thing to say concerned about, but I just don't think he's going to get the same amount of
26:43volume as all these other guys that are drafted around him.
26:46But when he catches it, he really makes it worth his while.
26:50Yes. I say, let's clip this one out. Let's send this to Nick Haley himself.
26:54There is no reason why you should have a 3% screen rate.
26:58You know, in 2023 and 2024, that was a 16% screen rate.
27:01That's the amount of screens among his targets. Let's get that back up, you know, because he's excellent at the screen stuff.
27:08It's going to help out the run game a little bit.
27:11Help out CG Stroud. Let's get this team in better positions.
27:14And it freaking works. So if we can get Nico Collins back into the mix where he's not so boom, bust reliant
27:20down the football field, and we're actually getting manufactured touches like what they do with Drake London and CD lamb and all
27:27the guys we just talked about, he can absolutely be a round one type of player there.
27:32The Texans are choosing for him to not be that.
27:35I don't understand it. Six and a half catches per game is a lot different and a lot better than 4.7 catches per game.
27:42So I've kind of given up on him having this Julio Jones arc maybe in his career where he is just like the totally dominant.
27:49The ball is funneled to you in every single scenario.
27:52And as much as we love like the downfield 1520 plus for someone like Nico Collins, because again, he changes games when that happens.
27:59And a lot of them end up in touchdowns in big place.
28:02I just want, like you said, two screens per game.
28:05Please easy button. It really is easy. And just give us a floor for production every single week on top.
28:11Yeah. Okay. He's my 21st player. So we're gonna do this again.
28:15Who was your 21st player? I got George Pickens right here, Pickens and Nico Collins, I think are very similar players.
28:21And especially last year when Nico Collins wasn't getting the gimme stuff, George Pickens necessarily wasn't getting the gimme stuff either.
28:27And still he absolutely went crazy. X receiver vertical stuff, red zone.
28:30We saw that go absolutely nuts in the 13 games with CD lamb.
28:34He was still the wide receiver 10. He still averaged 77 yards per game.
28:38He was still wide receiver 13 in usage. That was with the seed.
28:42The CD lamb games. We saw what happens if CD lambs misses time.
28:46So we're pretty much drafting him where he finished with CD lamb last year.
28:50And like the, if lamb misses, we're talking about somebody that would be probably drafting right next to like JSN.
28:56So I think this is one where you're kind of free rolling the upside here.
29:00He's not going to be quite as consistent as like the Drake London types out there.
29:05But man, when he goes crazy, which I'm expecting the Cowboys to do this season, that offense is really good.
29:11They don't, they don't, they didn't lose anybody. Uh, I think that he's going to have another monster season and he needs
29:17to because he's on the franchise stack. He's my 24th overall player.
29:21And it was a huge shout for our show last year to hype him up so much, but it paid off for
29:27all of you in a big way. I hope.
29:30Um, and his game did change last year. Like he, he got way more gimmies.
29:3461% of his targets were within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage easily the highest rate of his career.
29:40And then the deep targets dropped from 32%, 25%, 29% while with the Steelers down to just 16% last year.
29:46So again, this is kind of one of my talking points this summer.
29:49As much as we love the deep ball chicks dig the deep ball, right?
29:53What we want at the 10 yard targets, the eight yard targets, the seven yard targets, because it gives you a floor consistency in each week.
30:01And then when you do get the 16% chance, the good ones still go and achieve the big plays on, on those opportunities.
30:08So plus it's pretty cool when now you've changed your route tree and you still can make the downfield stuff work.
30:14And he had 18 end zone targets last year, which tied for the second most in the NFL.
30:19So he basically attacks in all three ways that we want a big time wide receiver to in fancy football.
30:25Yeah. It's like almost like no negative notes aside from just like you fully can't trust him.
30:30Um, but aside from that, like I I'm ready to party again.
30:33Okay. My 22nd overall player is Malik neighbors. I mean, he's on a whole nother level when we talk about the wide receivers that he's drafted around.
30:41And I even mentioned, you know, the Nico Collins, George Pickens guys that we just brought up and heck even Drake London.
30:48I think Malik neighbors is a better talent than them.
30:51Now, maybe that's splitting hairs a little bit and they play the game in a different style, but he is like the
30:57closest thing we have probably to Jamar chase in the league, uh, in terms of winning with the ball in his hands.
31:03And guess what? He appears to be on track to play in week one.
31:08Uh, now I do want to respond to myself because when we recorded, I think a video on like June 16th, that
31:14did not seem to be the case. And I was nervous because all the words coming out of the New York, New
31:20Jersey area seemed to have nervousness attached to them.
31:23I mean, it was a second surgery to clean up so he could rehab better and get back on the field.
31:29And then the three dreaded words or letters of PUP seem to be mentioned frequently, but then it flipped in a weekend
31:36just as we were relaunching the show. And guess what?
31:38When you have an update information, your opinion gets updated at the same time.
31:43So now that he's on track to play in week one, I am all the way back in on Malik neighbors having
31:49all the opportunity and the skills in the world to still make good on this 22nd overall ranking that I have.
31:55Yeah. I'm pissed because you, you neighbors mogged me.
31:58I got him a 23rd overall and I wanted to be as high as anybody on him.
32:03Uh, he's so outrageously good. And the giants, they still don't know who their wider receiver two is going to be.
32:09Nobody really has stood out in camp. It's like Isaiah likely and Malik neighbors.
32:13And he's been a top six fantasy score, um, as a rookie season four weeks into this last season.
32:18And the giants absolutely were terrible on offense when he was that productive.
32:22Talk about 31st and scoring over that rookie season through week four of last year.
32:27So I'm not expecting the giants to be second worst in the NFL and offense this year.
32:32And it looks like, uh, Malik neighbors is going to be able to, to be close to like 90, a hundred percent
32:38of himself by the time, like the games really start to pick up later on.
32:42The giants defense is getting a little bit better.
32:45They're not going to get absolutely run on like crazy with Arvel Reese kind of popping up.
32:50Uh, and just obviously hardball trying to put a, uh, a stop to all that.
32:54And I think that on offense, they've got some runs camp scat above the middle.
32:59And then when they drop back to pass, it's just going to go to Malik neighbors as it should.
33:04I'm best ball formats. He's going as the last pick of the second round right now on Yahoo.
33:09He's the last pick of the third round at this moment.
33:13If you look at expert consensus rankings, he's the 30th overall player in half PPR right now.
33:18So you and I are well ahead of basically every single person on Malik neighbors at this moment.
33:23Let's say in a week or two, he is fully participating in practice.
33:27Looks great. Absolutely. He's going to be cleared for week one.
33:30And they're just expecting this to be as close to peak Malik neighbors as possible.
33:34How high could you rank them in that scenario?
33:37Like I'm looking at, I mean, I don't have to go any higher.
33:41I can still rank them 22nd overall and get them every single time.
33:44I'm saying at 23, there's room for this to go higher for me.
33:48If I get full confirmation that he's ready to go, I am absolutely ready to take him probably right next to Brock
33:55Bowers and Drake Lunds probably where I'll draw the line.
33:58But if I really, really see him fully clear, no, no setbacks, nothing here in the next couple of weeks, like I'm
34:04ready to move him up even higher. Maybe I'm wrong.
34:07I highly doubt we see a single preseason snap from him, but just get through training camp, you know, get through that
34:13dark period where no reporters are there for the five days ahead of kickoff.
34:17And if we're healthy at that point, then all systems go.
34:21Yeah, I'm looking at our Yahoo colleagues and the closest next people have him 30th overall.
34:25So we are well ahead of the market on Malik neighbors.
34:29Okay. He's my 22nd ranked player. So now we go to 23.
34:32Who's yours? I got AJ Brown at 22. And this is the same grouping of wide receivers here.
34:37And this one, I would put this in the boom bust here, similar to like George Pickens and Malik neighbors, but the
34:44boom ability is obvious with AJ Brown. It just comes down to how good of a talent is he?
34:49I thought last year he was still really good.
34:52He wasn't, you know, top five wide receiver on tape.
34:55I think he was good enough to have another one of these great seasons, kind of like how like Devante Adams was
35:01playing in the last couple of seasons. I want to bring him up in particular because Patriots OC Josh McDaniels had some
35:08seasons with Devante Adams on the Raiders. This was like right after the absolute peak of his prime in those seasons, 180 targets, 175 targets.
35:15He caught over a hundred passes in both of those seasons.
35:18I think they can get AJ Brown in the slot in three wide receiver sets if they want to.
35:24I don't think he has to play this like static X receiver role.
35:27In fact, that's where I would have Romeo Dobbs.
35:30And then I would try to get AJ Brown going a little bit more on some horizontal stuff and not just like
35:36kind of this vertical or hitch kind of route tree that he had with the Eagles.
35:41So I'm expecting more creativity and think the added creativity will probably hide some of the words that you can possibly nitpick with AJ Brown.
35:48But this is kind of like my version of the Omari Hampton stuff.
35:52Like I don't want to nitpick, you know, any decline really I saw from him.
35:57Like this is he's he's with Drake May all of a sudden.
36:00And Josh McDaniels has a history here. I just want to like lean into it.
36:04He's my 23rd overall player and kind of what you're alluding to.
36:08I think I am a little skeptical of he's declining in talent right now.
36:12That's also difficult to say when everyone pulls up Twitter today and he is roasting sauce gardener on like the first rep of joint practices.
36:19Yeah. And looks totally fine, you know, so maybe I shouldn't bring up AJ Brown's talent at all.
36:25But as you said, it felt like to open last year.
36:28He wasn't separating as much and he wasn't winning after the catch as often.
36:32However, the Josh McDaniels factor of funneling in targets to the top receiving option and also Drake May as a part of
36:38this, where he is so willing to throw over the middle of the field and so willing to throw into tight coverage, 10 plus yards down the field.
36:46That this is a perfect landing spot for AJ Brown at this point in his career.
36:51So, yeah, I mean, I am in despite some spidey senses saying, hey, are you sure about that?
36:56You watch the eyeballs last year. But like, look how effective Stefan Diggs was in this offense last year.
37:02And that was playing fewer snaps than Matt Collins in every single game.
37:06So if we get an 80 percent snap AJ Brown this year, good things are really going to happen.
37:11Yeah, I would take the higher on 80 percent.
37:14I think it's going to be near full time.
37:17And I think that Diggs is kind of in that slot role where I think that he's playing like 55 percent of the time last year.
37:24Right. Yeah. I just think that AJ Brown, like they've just got to give on the field for how much they invested in him.
37:31I think that the Drake May versus Jalen Hurts thing cannot go overlooked.
37:35Like Drake May last year was the best downfield thrower of the football period.
37:39Not even close. The stats backed it up. He was doing that to Kayshawn, who's I think going to get traded here any minute.
37:46Kayshawn is going to get traded. And that's going to be Romeo Dobbs clearly next to AJ Brown.
37:51And then it's actually been Pop Douglas as the number three.
37:54Like that's a good thing for AJ Brown. Yep.
37:57And for how much Josh McDaniels loves to use tight ends, when Eli Raritan is on the field in 12 personnel looks, that's even better for AJ Brown.
38:05You know? Yep. Yep. Heavier bodies means good things for your best pass catchers.
38:09He's my 23rd overall player. So who is your 23rd overall player?
38:13That's where I had neighbors and then I had Hampton at 24th.
38:16I think we're back on pace here. Wow. We are back on pace.
38:20George Pickens is my 24th. We've started to do that to you with the confusion over the last three, but I'm sure
38:27you nailed it in the edit afterwards. All right.
38:29We're back on track then. A reset. Who's your 25th overall player?
38:33This is where I have Jeremiah Love. And I would put this firmly into the boom bust tier.
38:38And I would say there's, I would say a tier break between like the top 24.
38:43And I'm not surprised we have the same exact top 24 players in some order.
38:47And it's the end of the second round. How fitting for you?
38:50Yes. With Jeremiah Love, obviously we're dealing with the Cardinals here and we're dealing with a coaching staff that has, you know, mentioned James Connor for whatever reason.
38:59They've signed Tyler Algier and then they drafted Jeremiah Love third overall.
39:02Typically what happens is the third overall pick plays a ton and is really good at football.
39:07So I don't want to discount that too much, even though I'm expecting this to not be like as clean as I would like it to be.
39:15Look, I think the Cardinals are much better than the Raiders were last year, for example, with Ashton Gentry.
39:20I like the coaching staff a lot more with LaFleur.
39:23I think that Jeremiah Love was a better player and better prospect than Ashton Gentry.
39:28And then the skill group around him does make me believe that the Cardinals are not going to finish like dead last in scoring this year.
39:35So this is just kind of like blindly betting on Jeremiah Love being as good of a talent as we're expecting here.
39:42I can see this kind of either way. I would not be surprised if you have him ranked much lower than this.
39:48And I've kind of tinkered with him somewhere between 25 and 30.
39:52Every 10 minutes, I change it. Let me ask you before I reveal my ranking.
39:56Are you like when you zoomed out after completing your rankings, were you amazed at how you're ahead of every single platform, every single consensus ranking?
40:04You're above market on Jeremiah Love. Like, were you expecting that heading into this?
40:08I think in general, once we have like a discount and the team environment with these rookies, then I think it's a
40:14good spot to start buying into like the rookie hype, just like in general.
40:18But I will say like a lot of the best running backs have busted as like a top 24 pick, like Dijon, like Jameer Gibbs.
40:26Like these guys didn't fully blossom into that second season.
40:28I think now we're talking about upside RB2s. Is Jeremiah Love an awesome upside RB2?
40:33It was him versus Brees Hall. I kept going back and forth.
40:36What do I like more? What do I like more?
40:39I know parking them next to each other. But I understand people being lower on him.
40:44I mean, we just did your ideal draft and you did just take Brees Hall in round three over Jeremiah Love and
40:50Jeremiah Love's going in round three in all these platforms.
40:53Well, here's the thing. If I showed up to that video and I just took the first player available in every single round, people would have crucified me.
41:01So, you know, I've got to mix it up.
41:04So he's going 26 overall in best ball, 26 overall on Yahoo.
41:08And then in consensus rankings, he's actually the 33rd overall player.
41:11And Hayden, for me, he's the 33rd overall player.
41:13Okay. Now, look, right now the Cardinals are projected for, what, 32nd in points, dead last in the league.
41:19They might finish 22nd. Like that would be a big win in comparison to predictions.
41:23However, we're also drafting four of these guys in the top 95.
41:27So they freaking better finish around 22nd in points scored.
41:30I think Mike LaForge is better than, you know, what Chip Kelly did for Ashen Jenty last year.
41:35Yes. And so that is, I do think the Ashen Jenty effect is weighing down maybe some belief of Jeremiah Love this year.
41:42However, I also don't think that Jeremiah Love is going to get 84.6% of his team's touches like Ashen Jenty did last year.
41:48I also think this offensive line for the Cardinals is a lot better.
41:52I mean, I know it was the Hall of Fame game, but Chase Basanti stepped in there and just looked like a freaking plow running over defensive linemen.
42:00And he's going to start very, very soon. Plus they have Paris Johnson and all these other guys, right?
42:06So that's a good group. And, you know, Michael Thor had rookie season, Brees Hall.
42:10He was a running back seven in points per game that year.
42:14And that was even with a slow start of 12, 8, and 14 touches in the opening three games.
42:19They did go on and win, you know, the three games after that where Brees Hall, or maybe it was even those
42:26three games where Brees Hall then took on more work.
42:29And so that was the best part of their season.
42:32And I'm just overall nervous of how the math, maths in this group.
42:35And so I think I am going to be below market on where he is going in drafts.
42:41At the same time, I don't want to be out on Jeremiah Love as a whole because he can get it in
42:47both the receiving game and the rushing game. And at some point, the hot hand is going to be Jeremiah Love.
42:53And then boom, we're off to the races. Yeah, definitely.
42:56So I would say that the math starts mathing when you compare where we've been drafting these rookie running backs, like the elite ones.
43:03Typically, it's like in the first or second round, like at the one-two turn.
43:07So I think that we've priced in at least some and hopefully all of the Cardinals, you know, negativity that we could possibly dream up for.
43:15So, yeah, I think anywhere in round three is appropriate.
43:18And then I think just on you of how much patience you're willing to have here.
43:22And I think over time, it's just going to start becoming the Jeremiah Love show.
43:27Okay. My 25th overall player is Devontae Smith. And part of me actually wanted to rank him even higher than this.
43:33Wow. But this is where we settled. Okay. Right now, Makai Lemon's out of practice.
43:37Biggest competition right now is it seems to be Duntavian Wicks.
43:40And we'll see how long that lasts throughout the season.
43:43I do want to say Devontae Smith is also missing practice at this point, too.
43:48But you know me, what I've talked about all summer is if you fix the running game here for the Eagles, that's
43:54just going to make the passing attack so much easier.
43:57And with a healthier offensive line this year and more and more reps under center, which it seems to be that's a
44:03big focus of Sean Mannion, that's going to make the rushing attack, I think, get back to somewhat closer to what they
44:10did in 2024 versus what they the average group they put out in 2025.
44:14And yeah, I mean, it was a different scheme, different all that stuff, some different players.
44:19But whenever AJ Brown misses, I mean, the on off splits for Devontae Smith in those situations is just off the charts.
44:25I mean, he's run 252 routes without AJ Brown over the last few years since 2022.
44:30He's been targeted on 29% of his routes, 37% of the team's targets when his direction, the 2.6 yards per route run.
44:36So yeah, let's get the running game to force some more single high stuff.
44:40And that's what Devontae Smith just have to work one on one versus the corners across the league.
44:45And he wouldn't small any wins big. I mean, I can't wait to see Devontae Smith in this role.
44:51Yeah, he's gonna be a monster this year. Five games without AJ Brown since his rookie season.
44:56He's the wide receiver three in yards per game at 89 wide receiver 10 targets.
45:00That's a very small sample size. I think that's like the upside case.
45:04I think that the actual baseline for that is definitely lower than that.
45:08Because you're adding more talent than, you know, the depth of the Eagles when he was like the wide receiver one without AJ Brown.
45:15But at the same time, AJ Brown's been the wide receiver 14, wide receiver 16, wide receiver 8, wide receiver 9.
45:21With Jalen Hurts as the top guy, like that's the range that we're talking about.
45:25I think that he's, to me, firmly kind of behind that Malik Neighbors and Drake London kind of tier.
45:31And then from Devontae Smith all the way down to like the middle of the fourth round.
45:36I think all these guys, you know, it's almost the same exact case.
45:40I don't expect any of them to really bust.
45:42I don't expect any of them to like really break out into like that top five mix.
45:47But I don't mind leaning into just Devontae Smith as like an awesome player on film.
45:52And this offense, it does sound like it's a good fit.
45:55Mannion and Hurts seem to be kind of gelling.
45:58I like what they're doing with Jalen Hurts. And slimmed down his body, he's gonna be running a little bit more.
46:04They're doing more of the things I was kind of hoping that the Eagles would be doing over the last couple seasons.
46:10And obviously Devontae Smith is going to be the benefactor.
46:13I mean, it really comes down to if play callers are good enough attached to Jalen Hurts, that they pluck certain things out of him.
46:20They make him comfortable enough. Obviously, they get the running game going.
46:24And when that has happened, that has been Shane Sykin.
46:27That has been Kellen Moore. And when it doesn't, it's Petulo.
46:30It's that whatever Johnson guy. And then they, you know, the city of Philadelphia thinks they're the devil and they get run out of town.
46:37Yeah. And so when it's good, it's really freaking good.
46:40And it becomes one of the best offenses in the league.
46:44And again, you can read in training camp as much as you want to.
46:48We like to do it. And it sounds like it's a good trend.
46:51Yes. Yep. So I'm liking it. I'm in on Devontae Smith.
46:55Okay. Who is your 26th overall play? This is where I have Brees Hall.
46:59So there's been a couple of reports that Braylon Allen, Isaiah Davis, like these kind of knucklehead types.
47:04I don't think they're that good, but they're also like not standing out.
47:08They're missing time in practice. And then there's like quotes like, Hey, now that we paid this Brees Hall guy and we
47:14didn't actually take a third or fourth round pick at the deadline.
47:18What if we absolutely used him all the time?
47:20I have to say that because Braylon Allen was mixing in at the goal line at times with for instead of Brees Hall.
47:27And at times I David, Isaiah Davis was getting in there as a pass catcher enough already.
47:32Like Brees Hall is like a main part of the offense.
47:35It sounds like Geno Smith's having a fairly good enough camp here.
47:39I think the offensive line for the Jets is much better than it was many seasons ago when Brees Hall was like really starting to take off.
47:47Armand Membu is an absolute stud at right tackle, for example.
47:50Their left tackle is in good shape as well.
47:52I don't know how the Jets could justify not trading him away, signing him to this deal and not give him huge, huge, huge workload.
48:00And to the point, I think we're kind of forgetting how good Brees Hall is because he's been dealing with some injuries.
48:06I think that is like how in shape he has been on tape seems to kind of come and go.
48:12I'm just expecting Brees Hall. It's a much better environment.
48:15He's talked about it. Like this is like the season where like, oh yeah, Brees Hall was a stud coming out of college.
48:22He was a stud early on. The Jets jetsed for a while and then hopefully kind of, you know, reaches a middle ground.
48:28And I do think there's a chance that Brees Hall could finish as an RB1 this season.
48:33You and I are both well ahead of everyone on Brees Hall.
48:37He's my 28th overall player. To talk about what you just brought up, Ron Stewart quoted this on Twitter.
48:42I can't remember. I think it's from Connor Hughes.
48:45Aaron Glenn going into his first season made it a point to stress a backfield committee, implying a near even split between
48:51Brees Hall, Braylon Allen and Isaiah Davis. The latter two won't be uninvolved, but it's clear the focus is Hall, then Allen, then Davis.
48:58And that section is called the return of the bell cow.
49:01That's what we want, you know? And is anyone talking about that Brees Hall is coming off a career high in rushing yards?
49:08No, but he is like the talent was evident last year, but unfortunately that equaled the running back 20 in points per
49:15game because he only scored five touchdowns. So let's get eight touchdowns, 10 touchdowns, improved offensive line, improved quarterback play for what we got last year.
49:22And while there's some ancillary pieces and figuring all that out, I like Garrett Wilson.
49:27I like Brees Hall. And I don't expect the Jets to be 29th in touchdowns per game, 29th in red zone drives
49:33per game, 31st in red zone touchdown success rate.
49:36So the superstars can put them over the hill and Geno Smith can be just good enough to help them do it.
49:42Yeah. I think the Jets are a good candidate from going like truly awful to like just, you know, good enough on
49:48offense for, for him to actually make, make an impact fantasy.
49:52And like, there's like stats you can like remove games without Brady cook, you know, which is probably pretty smart.
49:57Cause like that offense was pathetic. And then all of a sudden, like this is where we would have been drafting him.
50:04So yeah, I seen the Jets are going to look, they're at least going to look watchable this year.
50:09Okay. Here's a doozy. My 26th overall player is Rashi Rice.
50:13Yes. No. Okay. I get it. I get it.
50:15If you sigh, just like Hayden did, but hear me out.
50:18It's as simple as Hayden. When he plays, he averages over 15 fancy points.
50:23That's back to his rookie year. That's during playoffs.
50:25That's against the most difficult teams ever since he has stepped foot on NFL field.
50:30If he plays, he averages over 15 fancy points.
50:32And that's just in half PPR. I mean, if we're talking about PPRs, it's through the fricking moon.
50:37Like, does Rashi Rice have a limited skillset? Yes, absolutely.
50:40His game is crossers, short and intermediate, especially versus zone coverage, athletic yak.
50:44Are the training clips concerning? They definitely are. Like, it looks like he's rehabbing on the fly, on the field.
50:50So it's complicated when you draft Rashi Rice. I get it if you all want to just avoid this one entirely.
50:56But again, he had a higher percent of his team's targets inside the 10-yard line last year.
51:01Just overall for the season. Then Drake London, Chris Olave, Nico Collins, A.J.
51:05Brown, Terrell McMillan. And that's despite only playing eight games.
51:08Okay? That's not like a per-game thing or a per-snap that he played.
51:12Just overall for the season, he is still a go-to player for them inside the 10.
51:16So we can get this conversation because I know we rank him much higher than you do.
51:21But as of this point, and again, it is August 11th, now at 415 Eastern.
51:26I am ranking Rashi Rice 26th overall. He's probably the player the Yahoo analysts are most disagreeing with each other.
51:31We have you, Boone, and Joel at top 25, top 26.
51:35And then Harmon, Pianowski, myself. Harmon's got him at 39.
51:38Pianowski and I both have him at 43rd overall.
51:40That's a huge difference. You're either getting him or he's not even coming up at all in the queue.
51:46It just depends on your comfortability with him. Off the field, I think for the most part, that's probably going to be just okay for one season.
51:54Can you behave Rashi Rice here? To me, the bigger reasons why I'm fading him is because he was excellent in that role.
52:00And I think that Kenneth Walker is going to get in the way of that.
52:05I think that Xavier Worthy being healthier this year is going to get into the way of that where it's just not going to hit quite as hard.
52:13And I think the bigger thing is I am a little bit worried about this knee.
52:17Like, this is like a couple surgeries on this one.
52:20It was like a pretty serious injury. It's kind of like one of those rare injuries.
52:25Like, he has not looked the part. So we'll see.
52:28This is one where, like, by the end of camp, he's just, like, absolutely blowing by everybody.
52:33Right. I will move him up. And then I might have to move him two rounds down if he gets suspended or,
52:39you know, does something else off the field. So not for me.
52:43I think a lot of these wide receivers around him, I think that they also have tons of upside.
52:48But Rashi Rice's upside is proven out. So if you want to take the risk, I totally understand it.
52:54Yeah. I do understand also the train of thought that I hear that, hey, the Chiefs might be evolving their passing attack.
53:00I'm a bit skeptical of it, to be honest.
53:03Like, this is who they have been in terms of this styling of passing.
53:07And sure, K9 coming in, who we absolutely love, we both rank as top 13 players.
53:12You have him as a top 10 player. Hopefully changes some of the math in the back end.
53:17But I still think Rashi Rice is more talented than Xavier Worthy.
53:20I think he's more talented than Travis Kelsey in terms of over the middle, run after catch, intermediate portion.
53:26And again, that has been the foundation for the passing attack when they've won Super Bowls.
53:31And then recently, as I've tried to rework things.
53:33So again, subject to change. But at this point, I've rushed Rashi Rice 26th overall.
53:3827 for you. So I have Trey McBride talking about a tight end one in the prime of his career.
53:44He was the tight end one overall on fantasy points per game.
53:47Expected points, targets, which is, by the way, 10 per game.
53:50Receptions, yards per game. He was a 19th overall player.
53:53When I look at half PPR fantasy points over a placement per game.
53:57In full PPR, it'd even be higher than that one.
54:00Unfortunately, I just don't think that he's going to be able to repeat those because he went absolutely crazy with Jacoby Brissett.
54:06Jacoby Brissett's going to play, but just a totally different staff.
54:09This Cardinals team was number one in neutral pass rate by the end of the season.
54:14There's zero chance that's what the Cardinals are going to do this year.
54:18So I think you can start chopping off some of the gimme looks that Trey McBride has been getting over the last couple years.
54:25I think that he's still maybe the best tight end in football.
54:28He's exceptional. He's one of my favorite players to watch.
54:31I just think that, like you said, with Marvin going to be healthier, Michael Wilson post-breakout.
54:36Now you have Jeremiah Love. And I just don't think of the scam offense that they were running last year.
54:42They're not going to do that with LaFleur. They're going to try to play real football.
54:47So I think that you're going to be chopping off too many of the volume stats away from Trey McBride where he's
54:53going to finish like nowhere near where he did last year and still hopefully worth a third round selection.
54:58Yeah, maybe this is still an overcorrection for me because, you know, the stat that he ran 120 more routes in the
55:05next closest tight end is at the top of my brain.
55:08I mean, that's three games worth of extra routes that Trey McBride ran last year.
55:12That's simply not happening. He's also not in a true petzing offense that, you know, focuses so much on the tight end.
55:19And as good as Carson Beck might have looked in the Hall of Fame game, we also don't think he's going to
55:25get, you know, Jacoby Brissette throwing to him for 17 games.
55:29And, you know, they were so pass heavy when it came to Jacoby Brissette last year, like number one in the league in neutral dropback rate.
55:36I don't think you sign, you know, Tyler Algier and you draft Jeremiah Love to be number one in neutral dropback rate.
55:43So with all that said, that forced me to have Trey McBride as my 34th overall player.
55:47So we kind of have this bracket of you have Love and McBride almost back to back much earlier.
55:53And I have them about six or seven spots later.
55:56Yeah, I have the Marvin Michael Wilson guys ranked a little bit lower.
56:00And maybe this is just to get centered around these two guys.
56:03But multiple of the Cardinals players are going to bust this year in fantasy.
56:07So you are playing a little bit of roulette here.
56:10So I understand this one. I actually, I've been moving Trey McBride from like 27 to 35 kind of back and forth,
56:17you know, that has to be on a different day.
56:20I'll have a different answer. I don't think I've drafted Trey McBride one time this year.
56:24And it's not because I dislike him. But going at like that two, three turn, there's just so many other players that
56:31I feel like I can make a case for versus him.
56:34Yeah, on Yahoo, he's at 24th overall. Like, I'm not going to get him on Yahoo.
56:39My 27th overall player is Josh Jacobs. He was also in that Adam Schefter ominous report that he could get suspended.
56:45So if he does, my opinion and my ranking is going to change.
56:48But he's one of these players that when he's on the field, he gets production.
56:53Even if he's not 100%, he's going to score touchdowns.
56:56That's the name of the game. I mean, running back eight in points per game last year, running back seven in points per game the year before that.
57:04I mean, he is one of the best runners in the league and one of the few, like, true one-person backfields.
57:10And the starting offensive line last year, Hayden, was not good.
57:13And they were really banged up. I mean, they were only on the field together for 17.6% of offensive snaps.
57:19That was 30th in the league. That should just naturally improve.
57:22Hopefully, injury luck is on that side. And he was hit behind the line of scrimmage way too often because of it.
57:29So is he a game breaker? Is he a 15-plus, 20-plus yard explosive runner?
57:33Maybe not. But, hey, is he getting the rock when they're inside the 10, inside the 5?
57:38Hell yeah. Yeah, so as long as Josh Jacobs is out there, Josh Jacobs is probably going to be on my fantasy football team.
57:45Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Jacobs. I got him ranked 40th overall.
57:49I'm factoring in some of the suspension risk. I also think there's some other risks that are at play with Jacobs.
57:55Number one, LaFleur is tinkering with the offense. They're going to be playing with more pace, which you'd think, like, oh, more plays.
58:01That's great for him. I think that kind of corresponds with maybe they're not going to be so run-dependent with Josh Jacobs.
58:08I think another big part of this is Jacobs getting a little bit older.
58:12His explosiveness is coming down a tier. And Marshawn Lloyd, like, he is balling in training camp, and he was a real prospect.
58:19So I would not be surprised if Josh Jacobs, you know, his, like, that crazy volume that he got just comes down
58:25one tier, whether that's Lloyd, whether that's the offense kind of changing.
58:28And then I'm factoring in some of the off-field stuff, which is very unsettling.
58:33The district attorney is, like, still investigating, figuring what they're going to do there.
58:37So I think of that list of, like, Puka versus Jacobs, who's more likely to get suspended, I think it would be
58:43more likely to get suspended for Josh Jacobs, even though I still think it's, like, not that likely.
58:48It's definitely, I would put in, like, the possible category.
58:51Just one comment on your changing the offense statement.
58:54I mean, if we just ran it back from last year, Hayden, wouldn't he just go out, like, the 1-2 turn?
59:00You know? So, like, to me, a lot of this negativity stuff, I don't want to say it's being double-counted here, but,
59:06you know, getting him at 27th overall is pretty awesome from a fantasy lens.
59:10Yeah. He was the wide receiver 12 last year.
59:13There were some, like, weird games because Jordan Love was battling three injuries.
59:17Like, there's definitely, at where you're talking about, like, there's room to hit on that for sure.
59:22I'm just parking in a little bit more downside there for, like, other reasons.
59:26Who is your 28th overall player? This is where I have Josh Allen.
59:30If you're drafting on Yahoo, he gets taken at 20th overall, so you're not going to get him very often.
59:36Let's say he falls. This is kind of where he's been over, like, the last, what, four or five seasons where he's
59:42been the quarterback one, quarterback three, quarterback one, quarterback one.
59:45And then I have a metric fantasy points over replacement, which is kind of accounting for quarterback versus running backs versus receivers.
59:51And he routinely is ranked, like, 18th to about 30th overall.
59:55So you add DJ Moore, he's still in the prime of his career.
59:58I think he's going to continue to ball out.
60:01Just strategy corner, there's so much depth at this position where I was trying to break ties against him until the point
60:07where I just didn't trust the production. He's like a tearbreaker.
60:11Absolutely is. Yeah. Yeah. He's a tearbreaker. And that's why, for me, I actually have Josh Allen at 32nd overall, even if
60:17he's my quarterback one, even if I'm happy to draft him, just because the other guys I get a bit more hyped about.
60:24And in all of these mock drafts that we're doing for columns and shows, when you take a quarterback at, let's say,
60:3020th overall, or, I mean, I would even say 30th overall, then the rest of your roster just looks like much worse
60:36because you're missing out on one of those players.
60:39I mean, I love him, though. I mean, he is, he is like the short yardage quarterback now in terms of leading
60:46the NFL with 13 rushing touchdowns inside the 10 yard line.
60:49And I do want to bring up that Ben Solak after visiting camp said that the team is expected to be more
60:55pass heavy, which is interesting because since Joe Brady took over from Ken Dorsey, they've been 31st, 25th and 30th in dropback rate.
61:02But now, you know, Joe Brady is in charge versus Sean McDermott.
61:05So maybe that was a Sean McDermott led directive, which it does make sense because that's kind of why Ken Dorsey was
61:12fired when they were like seventh in dropback rate and they immediately turn into run focused.
61:16So, yeah, more passing for Josh Allen would be pretty freaking cool.
61:20And that might mean even more fancy points, too.
61:23Yeah, there's been other reports that Allen is really tight with with Joe Brady.
61:27And you add DJ more in the offseason, like if I had to guess, are they gonna be more pass heavy or run heavy this year?
61:34It's like absolutely that they'd be more pass heavy.
61:37Just makes sense looking at all the moves that they had.
61:40Plus, like McDermott defense, Brady offense, like that's the head coach.
61:43I'm expecting Josh Allen to drop back more, which means more scrambles, too.
61:47Like that's you want your quarterbacks in the scramble department.
61:50So, yeah, I feel really good about him. To me, it's just like if you're worried about floor in the third round,
61:56just like draft Josh Allen, you know, like if you drafted him 25th overall, and you said I'm gonna win my league
62:03with some dart throws later on, like I understand that strategy.
62:06I think mathematically this is kind of where he belongs.
62:09I have no problem with third round Josh Allen.
62:12I do have a little bit of a problem of second round Josh Allen on Yahoo where he's going ahead of Brock Bowers, Nico Collins, George Pickens, A.J.
62:20Brown, Devontae Smith. Yes, I agree. Okay. My 28th overall player is Brees Hall.
62:24So that brings us to 29. Who's yours? This is where Devontae Smith.
62:28Okay. I have Kyron Williams. All right. Kyron Williams is one of these players that I think when we get into individual
62:34conversations about, it always sounds like a negative, but then when the environment is this good, it shows you that someone in
62:40a split backfield can totally outscore by miles someone that owns 84% of the touches somewhere else.
62:45I mean, not only is it a two to one or a one to one here for Kyron Williams, he still finished
62:52last year as a running back 11 in points per game despite that.
62:56And despite 73% of the Rams touchdowns last season, Hayden were passing.
62:59So it wasn't even like, oh, it was a split backfield, but all that went to the running backs.
63:05No, no, no. That was the fourth highest rate in the league.
63:08So we're talking about a player still in a split backfield, mind you, tied for the third most red zone rushing scores
63:15on the fifth most carries inside of the 10.
63:17And over the past three seasons, Kyron has finished second, first and third in fancy points scored in the red zone.
63:23So yeah, I certainly like Kyron Williams because he's on the Rams and Hayden.
63:27If the Rams are slightly worse or they're trailing in games this year, guess who is the preferred player when they're trying
63:34to catch up or in neutral situations? That has been, and I think will continue to be Kyron Williams over Blake Corp.
63:40I got Kyron Williams 39th overall. I was kind of breaking ties against him just because I think the Blake Corp stuff is real.
63:47I think that what they did at the end of the season coming out of their bye week and into the playoffs,
63:54I think that was real and that they really do like Blake Corp.
63:57So we're talking about 65% carry share inside the five yard line compared to a 58% carry share on the other runs.
64:04We're talking about, you know, half to two thirds.
64:07A lot of the other running backs are a lot higher than that.
64:10The Rams got to be the best offense in the league for him to be like a top 12 fantasy player.
64:16But guess what? They easily could be, but they also could not be, you know, like that's just like the hard part
64:23where, you know, the defense gets better. Alaric Jackson's one of those guys are left tackle.
64:27He can get suspended. They have no debt that left tackle.
64:31So they wasted a first round pick on a backup quarterback for some reason, by the way, that backup quarterback is not
64:37even separated from Stetson Bennett in camp per sources.
64:40So we'll see. Kyron Williams is a little bit dead zone-y to me, but if you're going to do dead zone-y stuff,
64:46do it on the team projected for the most points.
64:49Yeah. And, you know, fantasy shows, many of them have also projected and predicted the downfall of Kyron Williams in like each of the last three seasons.
64:57And guess what? There he is at the end of the year scoring touchdowns on one of the best offenses.
65:03And again, when the Rams are tied or trailing, Kyron has played 75% of snaps compared to Blake Corbin's 24%.
65:09So, yeah, if they are a little worse. I think it could be the team's as good as it was, but the defense got better.
65:16And then the offense, you know, it's a hard to score.
65:19You're about 30 points per game when you don't need to.
65:22Yes. Yes. Got it. Okay. Who's your 30th overall play?
65:25I got T Higgins. And I really liked drafting T Higgins in the third, fourth round here.
65:30He's played 39 games with Joe Burrow healthy since 2022.
65:33He's averaging 15 full PPR points in them. That's wide receiver 14 on wide receiver 15 usage.
65:38And then you have some games where Jamar Chase doesn't play in the averages, 18 full PPR points.
65:43So you're kind of drafting him where I have him at wide receiver 13, which is pretty much like his baseline.
65:49As long as Joe Burrow is healthy and he is right now.
65:53And then you just have a free roll where if something ever happens to Jamar Chase, now you have a first round caliber player.
66:00I feel really good about the Bengals offense this year.
66:03The offensive line's in a better spot. Joe Burrow's healthy, not dealing with like weird, you know, appendicitis or torn ACLs.
66:09No nonsense from the Bengals. I think a pretty well, aside from you, you can talk about your understanding.
66:15Throwing interceptions. That's the only nonsense we've seen so far in training.
66:18Experiment, experiment a little. You know, this is what you can do when you have like the most like explosive offense every single year.
66:25You can. Yeah, it's like, hey, we have the most explosive offense.
66:29Let's just change the whole thing. I'll take the under on whatever people are projecting for this, this nonsense that they're doing.
66:35It's not going to play out. I'm just joking.
66:38T Higgins is also my 30th overall player. So good.
66:41I was just trying to, you know, Josh around there.
66:43Let's say. Yes. Yeah. I mean, the last time that T Higgins played 17 games with Joe Burrow, he was the wide receiver four in points per game.
66:52So yeah, that year he went from six catches.
66:54You should say that again. That's a crazy stat.
66:57Like that is. The last time he played 17 games with Joe Burrow, he was the wide receiver four in points per game.
67:04And let's say on Yahoo, you can get him as the wide receiver 14 right now.
67:08Um, yeah, he went from six catches and 76 yards down to four catches for 56 yards because he went from 17
67:15games of Joe Burrow down to eight games of Burrow, six games of Flacco and three games of Jake Browning.
67:20So it's pretty sweet. This is when other teams wide receiver two should be ranked ahead of other teams, wide receiver one.
67:27Absolutely. Yeah. Since 2022 when in Burrow games, T Higgins has the highest success rate of any wide receiver.
67:32Like you kind of think of T Higgins kind of like boom bust guy.
67:37His role is kind of adapted over, over the years where it's not so down the field back shoulder related or getting
67:43them not screens necessarily, but more underneath stuff, quick outs, that type of thing where he is getting a little bit more
67:49volume than you were thinking about when you were drafting T Higgins three, four years ago.
67:54And I think those types of changes are good for T Higgins.
67:58I don't think they're going anywhere. If you made it as far, hit the thumbs up, hit the like.
68:03So YouTube knows you're watching. All right. 31st overall is your name.
68:07I got Zay Flowers. I understand people being even higher than, than this.
68:10I can't quite get there just because the touchdown difference, like right now, betting markets, it's five and a half.
68:16That's been the big thing. Zay Flowers, red zone target share is about 16%.
68:20Outside the red zone is 28%. My guy, Jacoby Lane has been absolutely balling in camp.
68:25What is he good at? Dunking on everybody in the red zones.
68:28Like, right. We were like, Hey, no, Isaiah, likely Zay Flowers and score a bunch of touchdowns.
68:33Here comes Acrobat, Jacoby Lane. So we'll see. I think that Declan Doyle is going to be really good for him.
68:40He's going to catch a million passes. He's going to be really explosive.
68:43All those things. I think that they're already getting kind of the most out of Zay Flowers game.
68:49I think Zay Flowers is getting a little bit better.
68:51I'm not sure how much more there is than what we saw last year, but Declan Doyle might be a little bit
68:58more committed to drop backs than we saw with Monken.
69:01So I feel good about Zay Flowers as I, it's an upside wide receiver too.
69:05I just couldn't park him higher than that. He's also my 31st overall player.
69:09And it's for me, the reasons you said at this point, if he just does what he did last year, he pays off this price tag.
69:17Basically, I'm also using Declan Doyle coming in as a potential reset, you know, a different usage for all these players.
69:23And while yes, Zay Flowers is smaller than Amon Ross St.
69:26Brown, maybe less physical. I don't think the gap in red zone targets should be as staggering as it is between the two.
69:33Okay. So Amon Ross St. Brown has 64 red zone targets over the last two seasons.
69:38And that is equal to 19 touchdowns. Zay Flowers has 17 red zone targets over the last two years.
69:43So Amon Ross St. Brown has more red zone touchdowns than Zay Flowers has targets inside the 20.
69:48Yeah. So hopefully Declan Doyle took his year working under Ben Johnson and said, okay, these guys aren't post up fade ISO
69:55ball wide receivers on the outside, but with motion, with stacks, with easy, quick releases that then we can get the ball
70:01to them quickly or they can continue that separation.
70:04These are some of the players we should build some of our red zone packages around.
70:08Right. I'm hoping he can take some of that because even Olamide Zaccheaus, who was on Declan Doyle's team last year, had
70:15more red zone targets and touchdowns than Zay Flowers did.
70:18So at the very least, get to what Olamide Zaccheaus did last year.
70:22Yeah. Maybe some of the explanation between, you know, the Ravens and the Lions offense is they got this Derrick Henry alien to just run the ball through.
70:30But we'll see. I think that if Derrick Henry misses time, then Zay Flowers is going to go even crazier.
70:36But even those offenses had Jameer Gibbs and Dave Montgomery.
70:39Yeah. I think you also got Lamar Jackson. I think just, I've seen the Ravens, you know, like not incorporate Zay Flowers
70:45even on the football field in those types of situations.
70:48So this is a reset. We're free rolling the upside here.
70:51Like if things change and I think you can go one tier ahead, I can't probably put them past like the Drake London tier of players.
70:59But I do think there's a chance he can come close to that.
71:02All right. My 32nd overall player is Josh Allen.
71:05Who is yours? That's where I have Javante Williams.
71:08And I think that we're probably going to disagree on this one.
71:11Yeah. We've had this debate before. If you guys have missed it, I'm just looking at the Cowboys offense and saying that's a really good offense.
71:19And he was really good last year. And I think Jaden Blue is going to play some of the passing down work.
71:25But you weren't ranking Javante Williams a fringe RB1 last year because of the past game work.
71:30He was terrible at it. And he was still awesome in fantasy because he's going to score all the goal line touchdowns.
71:37Jaden Blue is not a threat to Javante Williams at all between the tackles.
71:41And the Cowboys are going to be top five-ish in points.
71:44Typically, when you're top five-ish in points, the running back gets home.
71:47So he's definitely more dead zone-y. You have to have somebody that's actually going to take him off the field to lose that.
71:54And I just don't think that the Cowboys have somebody to take him off the field.
71:59Everyone's back. Play caller. Offensive line. George Pickens. CeeDee Lamb.
72:02I think this offense is ready to cut. We're coming off on time.
72:05We've had this conversation already. He's my 42nd overall player.
72:08But I think it's interesting that maybe my Javante Williams is your Javante Williams.
72:12Yeah, I just think that Javante Williams' workload is a little bit safer than Kyrin's.
72:17Got it. And I think Kyrin's better in the passing game.
72:20Yes, definitely. Got it. Okay. My 33rd overall player.
72:23This is where I have Jeremiah Love. We already had that combo.
72:26So who is your 33rd overall player? I got Travis Achan right here.
72:30I think the Saints offense is going to be rock solid.
72:33I think it's the best offensive line he's played behind.
72:36It's the number one offense in terms of neutral pace last year.
72:40So these are all positive upgrades for him. I'm gladly betting against Alvin Kamara mattering at all.
72:45And you had that stat 35 to 36 reception last year.
72:48We're early down stuff. I think that's all you need to be an upside RB2, which that's where you finished last year.
72:54I have Travis Achan a little bit lower as my 43rd overall player.
72:58But I totally understand ringing him this highly. I do just want to take this moment to update the commenters that Travis
73:04Achan has requested his name be pronounced Achan instead of ETN.
73:08So that is why we've been doing it. A lot of comments recently have said, why are you confusing the Miami backfield with the Saints backfield?
73:15We are honoring the requests of the artist formerly known as Travis ETN, who now wants to be known as Travis Achan.
73:22Fair? Absolutely fair. I will say this. The other Yahoo shows, they're not going to be bringing him up because I'm seeing some rankings.
73:2952nd, 52nd. You're at 41. I'm seeing a 48th overall.
73:31So I'm on an island here of the one talking about Mr.
73:35Travis Achan here. Why do you think you're on so much of an island?
73:39Like, what gives you the absolute confidence? Because this might be and end up your biggest flag plant of the year.
73:45I think that he's going to play almost too much to fail.
73:49I don't think that there's any threat for the goal line role.
73:52I think the Saints are going to be a totally fine offense.
73:56And then he's had 1,399 total yards in three of four seasons.
73:59Like, I mean, just do that again. And like, it's not even close that he would be worth this, if not even more.
74:06The betting markets have him for just five and a half rushing touchdowns.
74:10You think that's way too low? I think it's like, I don't understand that one at all.
74:15Okay. Interesting. Yeah. I would not have guessed that Travis Achan, he was in, you know, your perfect draft, your ideal draft and all that type of stuff.
74:23But heading into this off season, heading into this month, I would not have expected him to kind of be your flag plant player compared to the market.
74:31But he is. I think it's the Alvin Kamara effect.
74:34I'm like, I know what Alvin Kamara is at this point.
74:37I'm not afraid. My 34th player is Trey McBride.
74:40We've already talked about him. What about yours? Chris Olave is at my wide receiver 15, right at the three, four turns.
74:46All these guys are so similar. Like I said, you know, first in neutral pace.
74:51Neutral pass rate was rock solid last year as well.
74:53Kind of middle of the pack. He's an excellent football player.
74:57He's got some, you know, like nagging injuries like every single year.
75:00So do a lot of wide receivers, especially as a lot of wide receivers get a little bit skinnier.
75:06In 2025, Olave's ADOT dropped to 11.8 yards because he had 3.4 receptions per games within five air yards in the first three seasons of his career.
75:14That was at 1.6. So he pretty much doubled up his kind of gimme looks last year.
75:19Not a surprise if you studied Kellen Moore over the seasons as we have.
75:23Jordan Tyson, I think is somewhat of a threat here to like take down some target share numbers from him where Chris
75:29Olave was a wide receiver one last year. And now I'm projecting him as a wide receiver two.
75:34But I feel really solid about this offense in general.
75:37I think that as long as Tyler Shuck does like the same kind of play as he had last year and most
75:44quarterbacks get better in the second season. I think both of these Saints guys where they're being drafted targets.
75:49I was going to ask you about the Jordan Tyson effect because it kind of sounds like just reading Underhill's tweets, the
75:56up and down nature of the Saints offense has been such a bit of a roller coaster.
76:01Some practices they look great, some they don't. But like the constant has been that Jordan Tyson is a dog.
76:06And so is it in the realm of possibility that Jordan Tyson just outscores Chris Olave this year?
76:12Like that is kind of factoring into my brain.
76:14But maybe that is just training camp brain that I'm being a part of right now.
76:19It's possible. I would say unlikely. But looking back at the Travis Achan, the betting markets have Olave at five and a
76:25half receiving touchdowns and then Achan five and a half rushing touchdowns.
76:29Like running backs just score more touchdowns. Like I'm just confused at like the pessimism that we have collectively for the Saints running back.
76:36Yeah. And while some of the underlying metrics for the Saints last year were really good, like the pace as what you're talking about.
76:43And it can kind of be tough to split it in half, you know, when it was Rattler and then Chuck.
76:49They're just obvious areas where they can improve. One is the running back usage.
76:53I mean, I think they had the lowest expected points per game to running backs last year.
76:58The other point is that they were dead last in red zone touchdown success rate at 44%.
77:03So get back to average across the league and more points are going to be scored on top of that too.
77:09So the Saints and a lot of these underlying numbers, especially the offensive line investment that they've made can get back to, to average or positive.
77:17Even my 34th overall players, Trey McBride. I think I've already said that.
77:20So that brings us to the 35th overall player.
77:23Who's yours? I got a Mecca. This is a long conversation.
77:26We've had this many times. I'm grading towards the flashes here.
77:29He was the wide receiver nine through week 11 as a rookie first rounder.
77:34Uh, he has positive splits when Mike Evans is not on the field.
77:37Um, and then he also had positive splits before his hamstring injury in terms of the tracking data, next gen stats, uh,
77:44had them like hitting 18 miles per hour way off way more often before injury versus after the injury.
77:49Then this off season, great news. Mike Evans is no longer with the team.
77:53Uh, and then Zach Robinson comes in. He's going to put them at Z slot slash Z, which is the role that
78:00we want the role that, you know, Cooper cup had a triple crown season.
78:04We saw Drake London kind of be the focal point of the offense with Zach Robinson.
78:09I think that Zach Robinson, I can trust him to get the most out of their top target.
78:14The best skill player on the team to me is a Mecca.
78:17I thought Chris Godwin wasn't moving quite as good.
78:20Bucky Irving didn't have the season. I think that the Mecca Buka has the chance to be like a version of the
78:26JSN stuff, you know, like an 80% JSN season.
78:29I think that a Mecca Buka has, uh, is one of the most prime candidates for like round three, four player that absolutely just smashes.
78:36We've seen Baker Mayfield put up huge numbers before 33 through 36 is like frying my brain and I don't know how to rank it.
78:44I even would say like 33 through 40 is that case.
78:47And a Mecca Buka falls in that range for me.
78:50Uh, I can totally see it. Like when Baker runs hot, a Mecca runs hot and Zach Robinson last year, again, despite
78:56the Falcons not being, you know, one of the best teams in the league to put it lightly.
79:01Uh, he got the fantasy guys there, right? Yes, he did.
79:05We're hoping that is the case with a Mecca Buka this year.
79:08And, uh, this role that he's in has just equaled fancy points and it is a layup for his skillset.
79:14So there is a chance like we get to real draft week and I have a Mecca Buka at the top list
79:20here, but right now I, I don't. Yeah. Look at Matt Harmon, uh, has him at 30 seconds overall.
79:26That's like, yeah. Whenever I'm looking at my wide receiver rankings, I'm positive.
79:30And then Matt's even more positive than, than I am.
79:33I feel good about it. Yeah. Well, I'm kind of surprised you haven't mentioned this guy's name yet, but my 35th overall player is Jalen Waddle.
79:40Um, I think you might've just changed some of your rankings in reference to Jalen Waddle.
79:45Um, I also look, okay. First I'll say the positives.
79:48Okay. We've talked about Jalen Waddle a lot. Um, I mean, weeks one through 16 last year, he was the wide receiver
79:5418 in points per game on an offense that was 31st in plays per contest.
79:59And then we goes to a team that finished fifth in plays per game.
80:03I mean, just to outline that Cortland Sutton ran 664 routes and Jalen Waddle ran 442 routes.
80:08Uh, and he still finished the wide receiver 18 in points per game.
80:11So we're getting more. He is the difference maker for this offense this year.
80:15Um, I do think some people are going a bit overboard though.
80:19And it's weird. I don't want to finish this statement with a negative thing, but like, this is where Harmon has someone
80:25Jalen Waddle 25th overall Boone has some 29th overall.
80:28So I feel bad where it felt like I was ahead of market ahead of the public on Jalen Waddle.
80:34And then now I look at my colleagues. I'm like, I'm almost a full round different than where Harmon has him.
80:40Yeah. I moved him down after the injury to 37th overall.
80:43Okay. I want Jalen Waddle on my football team.
80:46And if we get positive news from injury and we have tons of time for this to kind of settle where he's,
80:52you know, the last three weeks of camp, he's out there.
80:55No questions about it. I will easily have him ahead of Devante Smith, T Higgins and those guys as a middle of
81:02the third round guy would be him versus like Trey McBride.
81:05So I moved him down in within this tier.
81:08Um, I mean, he's going to absolutely shred. He's shredded as a top target before, uh, we've seen Sean Payton dial things
81:14up for number one players before the screen game.
81:17Number one, since Bo Nix has been around for, for the Broncos that slides right into Jalen Waddle, there's not that much target competition behind him.
81:24And the Broncos quietly have been very pass heavy, uh, over the last couple of seasons on top of that.
81:30And I know he's really good at football. You trade a first round pick for him.
81:35Like if he's healthy, there's like no, there's no downside, you know?
81:38Yeah. And whoever's rankings you use, you're going to end up with Jalen Waddle on your team because we're all ahead of where he's being drafted.
81:46Like in best ball, he's the 37th overall player on Yahoo.
81:49It's even much later than that as the 42nd overall player.
81:52So whether it's mine or Hayden's or especially Harmon's, you're going to end up with Jalen Waddle on your team.
81:58And I think that's a positive. It's a positive.
82:01Yep. Okay. Let's close this thing out. Who's your 36th overall player?
82:04All right. Ted Rowan McMillan. Uh, I thought his rookie tape was awesome.
82:08Reminds me of Drake London in a lot of ways.
82:11I think like the thing that people, other people were nitpicking was like his long speed.
82:16There was too many crossing routes where he's creating separation on those for me to, to give a crap about that.
82:22I think like, uh, Drake London, uh, can be utilized underneath and some of the manufactured stuff.
82:27And then whenever it was a fourth and two, which somehow the Panthers were always in like fourth and twos, they would
82:33have these like huge downfield plays to Ted Rowan McMillan.
82:36I think he's awesome. I think that he can dance against off coverage.
82:40I think in man coverage, he can win with power.
82:43Um, and right now the, the Panthers, um, they've been dealing with so many injuries, like to the point where like, is
82:49this going to be like some team that just like has to throw the ball way more than they ever wanted to,
82:56whether that's offensive line, defense, edge rusher, those type of, of players where it's like wide receiver on top of that.
83:02Yeah. The other wide receivers. Yeah. Like we're like, you know what?
83:05They pass way more than they wanted to. And that's good news for Ted Arroa.
83:10So I wouldn't, I wouldn't be surprised him and Emeka Ibuka like are just way better than where their, their ranking is
83:16currently kind of have to wish cast some things, but I think I'm willing to do with him.
83:21Yeah. A big thing with the Panthers is they've started too slow with their passing offenses and they've hit their strides when
83:28we've gotten to later portions of October, especially November and December and even the playoffs last year.
83:33Um, and I think switching to Brad Edzik is going to help that.
83:36Um, because that you have that communication, someone who's only focused on working on the best concepts, how to attack defenses, game planning every single week.
83:44First, the head coach that has to do a whole bunch of other things.
83:48So I think they looked at it over the slow starts over the last two years and said, Hey, a change in
83:54play color is how to do that. Also team at game, 12 pounds of muscle, he said, and you can see it in all these reps.
84:02Yes. Uh, he's just a bigger dude. This is what he played at Arizona.
84:06And there were a couple 50, 50 situations that he didn't win last year.
84:10And if he even wins those this year on top of what he showed, um, you have like a really special player.
84:17I think in team agree. Yep. I think this dad.
84:20Okay. 36 overall to me, Hayden is undecided. Uh, let's decide.
84:23I have Chris Olave, Ted O'Meillin, Garrett Wilson, Ladin McConkie, Mechak Buka, or Colson Loveland here.
84:27And on any given day, it's one of those players.
84:30Like I have a lava here in this instance.
84:33I did have T Mac. Garrett Wilson is someone that has alpha traits and maybe just maybe Gino Smith is good enough
84:39that he finally allows him for a 17 game span to score as a top 12 wide receiver.
84:45Cause I know he has the talent to do it.
84:48Ladin McConkie is the player this year that might benefit the most from heavier personnel looks among all wide receivers.
84:53Talked about him. Mechak Buka. Then you have Colson Loveland who might be the next great one at, at tight end and
85:00might be the focal point of that passing game.
85:02So again, every day it's different here at 36 overall.
85:05Uh, and that's how I'm going to leave it until next time.
85:09Yeah. We have the same group of players. Every player that we talked about, including that list is my top 43 overall.
85:15Uh, and that, that would be the exact same top 43.
85:18And then you kind of get to a tier break where it's like to me, Cam Scadabo, Lamar Jackson, JMO, Christian Watson.
85:25So like anywhere in the three, four turn, I think ends at like 43rd overall.
85:29Uh, that was a lot of players that are really young that we just talked about.
85:34Like a lot of players, like rookie contracts or Jeff Stein, their, their first extension.
85:38We're, we're in a good spot in fantasy where I'm not expecting there to be that mini like stone cold bust in
85:45all of these, uh, these, this range. We just have to like, you know, actually hit on the guys that moved up a full round or two.
85:53And, uh, hopefully we, we made that easier for you guys.
85:56All right. We'll get out of here in less than 90 minutes.
85:59Thanks to weaves and Mosho behind the scenes for helping us post this video.
86:03Thanks to all of you. Uh, by the way, they have left reviews.
