Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveProjection1:59

Amon-Ra St. Brown is a top-tier target, ranking as the WR4 in points per game after the Lions changed play callers last season. He has recorded 100+ catches in four straight years and led the NFL with 34 red zone targets last year. With a reworked offensive line and 12 of 16 games played indoors, he remains a league-winning pick.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection47:05

Brock Purdy is a top-tier quarterback target in round nine. Despite injuries and a depleted supporting cast last year, he finished as the QB5 in points per game. He led the NFL in completion percentage on throws 10+ yards downfield (61%) and remains a high-floor, high-ceiling option in Kyle Shanahan's offense.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveBreakout30:28

Christian Watson is a favorite pick in round six. In 13 career games with at least 75% route participation, he averages 17.5 fantasy points per game (WR6 pace). With the Packers' wide receiver room more condensed this year, Watson is locked into two-receiver sets and has the potential to finish as a top-18 wide receiver if he stays healthy.

Insight page
PositiveProjection31:37

Christian Watson is a high-upside pick at WR28 who can easily finish as a WR18 or higher. His role is more consolidated this year, and he showed significant growth last year, particularly on third-down conversions and outside-breaking routes. He is a favorite pick in any round, with an ADP of 58th overall while being ranked 46th.

Insight page

De'Zhaun Stribling

PositiveBreakout55:50

Deshaun Scribling is a high-upside rookie receiver who is earning rave reviews in camp and is expected to be a full-time player. Despite a current 12th-round ADP, he is worth targeting in the 9th or 10th round due to his role in a high-scoring offense and his ability to play multiple alignments.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveValue41:55

George Kittle is a value at his current TE9 ADP, as he is ranked as the TE7. He led the 49ers in end-zone target share (33%) when playing with Brock Purdy and ranked third in points per route run among tight ends last year. He is a strong target for those who want to pair him with a later-round tight end.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveValue40:53

Isaiah Likely is a strong value pick at TE13 in the ninth round, with the potential to provide consistent production throughout the entire season.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

PositiveSleeper21:57

Jadarian Price is a high-upside rookie sleeper in the sixth round. With Zach Charbonnet recovering from surgery, Price has a path to significant early-season volume. He has impressed in training camp, particularly in the passing game, which aligns with the team's goal to get more pass catchers on the field.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveBreakout15:44

Jalen Waddle is a smash selection in round four. He ranked 8th in first downs per route run last year and is moving into an offense that ranks 5th in plays per game. With increased route volume and his proven efficiency, he has league-winning upside if he stays healthy.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveValue46:16

Jeremiah Love is the most mispriced player in fantasy due to an injury-related dip in consensus rankings to 40th overall. He is an auto-click in the third or fourth round, as his talent level is elite and the team is committed to giving him significant volume.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveSleeper41:54

Jonah Coleman is a high-upside rookie running back who possesses passing-game utility and is viewed as a potential future workhorse for the Broncos. While not a week-one starter, he is a priority waiver-wire target who could see significant work due to injury or performance.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveValue39:38

Juwan Johnson is significantly underrated by current ADP; he is the Saints' second-best pass catcher and a proven commodity as a converted wide receiver. With a high-paced offense and easy schedule, he is a strong target in round 13, with a personal ranking as the TE12.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveSleeper37:59

Keaton Mitchell offers standalone value in a desirable offense; while not a direct Devon Achane comparison, he could reach 8-11 touches per game with high efficiency. He is a viable flex option during bye weeks and could become a significant fantasy factor if the starter gets injured.

Insight page
PositiveUsage60:58

Keaton Mitchell is a late-round target with standalone value, projected for 5-8 touches per game with potential for more. He is an explosive playmaker in an offense that has historically supported multiple fantasy-relevant running backs, and he is currently seeing downfield work in camp.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveValue5:43

Kenneth Walker III is a massive value in the second round, currently ranked 13th overall by Amon Ross State Brown despite a 21st overall consensus ADP. He is expected to play a larger role in the Chiefs' offense, which struggled with explosive runs last year. Walker ranked 6th in 10+ yard runs and avoided tackle rate, and he is projected to exceed 60% snap share, where he has historically averaged 17.5 fantasy points per game.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveBreakout10:25

Malik Nabers is a high-upside target in round three. The Giants' shift toward heavier personnel sets (fullbacks/tight ends) will funnel targets to him as the clear primary pass catcher. Despite a minor injury, he is ramping up in practice and is expected to be a major part of the offense by week one, with potential to finish as a round 1-2 value.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveRole32:21

Matthew Golden is a full-time player with strong training camp reports and elite athletic testing (2.99 RAS). He is viewed as a high-upside target in late rounds, with some analysts ranking him as high as ahead of Christian Watson.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveUsage44:07

Mike Washington is expected to carve out a significant 30% workload share in the backfield, which is a major increase over the 14% share non-starters received last year. This usage projection makes him a threat to the current starter's volume.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveBreakout37:11

Parker Washington is a major breakout candidate who saw a 31% target share and 3.17 yards per route run when playing alongside Jacoby Myers and Brian Thomas Jr. last year. He operates primarily from the slot (63% of snaps) and is expected to thrive in Liam Cohen's intermediate-passing scheme.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeInjury3:38

Sam LaPorta is dealing with a hip injury that may be a contusion rather than a pull. While there is concern it could linger, fantasy physios suggest not moving him down in rankings yet, as he may return to practice next week.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveProjection45:26

Saquon Barkley should be drafted third overall and is considered a superior fantasy option to Ashton Gentry.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeInjury23:27

Zach Charbonnet is coming off a significant injury and surgery performed in February. There is skepticism that he will return to the same form he displayed last season, creating an opportunity for teammates to earn a larger share of the backfield.

0:00We Have One Heck Of An Episode For You Today.
0:03Why? Because It's All About Me. Yeah, the 14 Players I Am Betting My Entire Fantasy Football Season On, Rounds 1-14, One Name In Each Group.
0:10Can't Wait. Hopefully Surprise You With Some Of These Names, but You've Heard A Lot About Them As Well.
0:16But Man, I really laid it on the line here.
0:18I'm on the hot seat. And I know, I know that your draft is going to look exactly like the one that I dish out to you here.
0:26Stick around for this episode. of Yahoo Fantasy Football with Josh & Hayden.
0:30All right, I'm on the hot seat. The 14 Players I Am Betting My Entire Fantasy Football Season On, basically my favorite pick in every single round.
0:38Hayden, your version of this is already up on the channel.
0:41We have a couple of overlapping ones, but I hope I'm surprising with a few names here because you have no idea
0:47what I'm about to throw at you. Yeah, I asked to not know.
0:51I want to be fully surprised here. But it's not just this season.
0:54It's your entire reputation for years and years to come.
0:57My Yahoo contract actually ends on Friday, August 21st, depending on if this list goes well or not.
1:02Yep. Yep. Do you want the bonus or not, Josh?
1:05Feed your family. Okay, well, since I am the meat of this show in terms of giving you all the information, how about you host?
1:12Like, take me round by round here. How about that?
1:15All right, let's get it over with. Round one, who's your number one target?
1:19I'm going to go with Amon Ross State Brown.
1:21We're going to use Yahoo's half point ADP for this.
1:24He's the eighth pick of the first round right now.
1:27This one is extremely simple. I mean, we're talking about the wide receiver four in points per game last season when they
1:33fire their play caller halfway through the year. 100 plus catches in each of the last four years.
1:38You know, he has 66 red zone targets over the last two seasons.
1:42The vast majority of touchdowns and especially passing touchdowns happen inside of the red zone.
1:46Uh, and he led the NFL in that same exact area last year with 34 red zone targets.
1:51Uh, plus Hayden, you know, the environment is sensational with this offensive line that has been reworked and, um, just the consistency
1:58of how many points they put up plus 12 of their 16 games in the fancy football season will be played in indoors.
2:04So I feel fantastic about Amon Ross St. Brown.
2:07I still have him ranked ahead of Jackson Smith and Jake.
2:10Yeah, this is the division that will have the most fantasy points and Amon Ross St.
2:14Brown. It's three straight seasons with double digit touchdowns and 115, uh, plus receptions.
2:18That's, that's pretty good. Uh, we had some news, uh, today, Sam Laporte dealing with some type of hip injury that could linger into the season.
2:26Like these are the type of ways that Amon Ross goes from like steady Eddie, you know, the wide receiver five in
2:32a season to like where he actually has a chance to go compete and be a league winning pick.
2:37So did you have any reaction to either like JMO, his injury, uh, Sam Laporte is a little bit banged up.
2:43How about we talk about Laporte more on Monday when we react to preseason week two, um, because I've been so pro Laporte.
2:50He's not on this list, but pro Laporte this draft season, uh, cause the connection with drew pets and tight ends and all that type of stuff.
2:57And Stefanski and North Turner before that, uh, immediately the fancy football physios were in my mentioned saying, Hey, hold up.
3:03Don't move them in rankings because this is probably more of a contusion than it is a pull or anything else.
3:09So, uh, it sounds like a contusion and maybe we're back next week here with Sam.
3:14Okay. I would say this is probably the most important question you're going to have to answer this year.
3:19Who should you take in the second round? Cause it is loaded and there's a million running backs in the front, a million wide receivers in the back.
3:27They're all good at football, but one of these guys will actually be a league winner.
3:32By the way, apparently I'm very good at my job because you know, once we started at Yahoo, uh, Saquon Barkley was going in the second round.
3:39No longer, sir. No longer. He's going 11th overall now over on Yahoo.
3:43So I did my job with that one and I'm about to cry wolf once again, because here comes Ken Walker, the
3:49third as my favorite pick in round two. I was hoping he's going with the fourth pick of the second round.
3:55I mean, Hey, it's nuts. If you look at consensus rankings out there, he's 21st overall in consensus rankings.
4:00I mean, 13th overall for me, I know you have him even higher than that.
4:0521st makes zero sense to me. And maybe it's people who were snake bitten last year, not wanting him to, you know, move up in rankings this year.
4:13But when do you think about it? Okay. This is the one move that the Kansas city chiefs made a Kansas city
4:19chiefs offense that has been highly efficient and successful in terms of success rate on the ground.
4:24Yet they struggled to create explosives. I mean, they were 32nd basically in the league last year and 10 plus yard runs from the running back position.
4:31Here's a great stat from Ted Smith. Okay. Only three rushes of 15 plus yards on early downs by running backs on the chiefs last year.
4:39That was last in the league. And they're also fourth worst in avoided tackle rate by running backs on early downs can
4:45walk to the third rank sixth in both of those numbers.
4:48So he's going to play a lot of football.
4:51He's going to be on the field all the time.
4:53And that was the only thing holding him back from a monster season last year with Seattle, as we saw in the playoffs in the Super Bowl.
5:01When I was listening to the TV booth and preseason real sicko stuff, they kept talking about how important the screen game is in this training camp.
5:09It's always important with the Andy Reid offense. Like he's been one of the best screen callers in NFL history is not been that potent recently.
5:16But at one point there was guys like the shady McCoy, Jamal Charles, Brian Westbrook, absolutely destroying in the screen game.
5:22Why can't Kenneth Walker be awesome as an underneath pass?
5:25Cause he doesn't have to be a Mr. Route runner, but just get these big athletic linemen in front of them and his razzle dazzle.
5:32Like there's a reason why we both have them as our favorite pick in round two.
5:36I think we both rank them as like a legit top 12 option.
5:40The good news is you'd never actually have to draft him in the first round.
5:44Yeah. Again, those numbers I just cited that was Ken Walker only playing about 60% of the snaps and one regular season game last year.
5:51If you want to incorporate that number in 60%, Ken Walker has averaged 17 and a half points in the 26 games.
5:58He has reached the 60% snap mark. Hayden, I would be shocked if he doesn't hit 60% snaps in every single game this season.
6:04He's never played with Patrick Mahomes. He's never played with an offensive line as good as this one.
6:09So I'm feeling pretty optimistic. All right. Round three.
6:12I think this is where we get a little bit more boom bust.
6:16There's some really fun names here. I'm very curious who you have in round three.
6:20Just because he goes so late on Yahoo and still in this round and a lot of other places.
6:25I'm going to take Malik neighbors, the 10th pick of the third round.
6:29He has beaten the timeline from this injury that I had in mind.
6:33But just to put the injury aside to maybe a later conversation here.
6:36One thing I haven't brought up enough and we have done it with other wide receivers is actually the heavier personnel looks
6:43that the Giants are going to put out there.
6:45Is going to help Malik neighbors even more. Right?
6:48So Greg Roman and the chargers and with Baltimore, they use a ton of these fullbacks and tight ends.
6:53Matt Nagy with the chiefs was one of the biggest heavier personnel sets in the league last year.
6:58Here with the Giants. We know you have Theo Johnson, Isaiah likely Chris man hurts Patrick or card when two or three
7:04of those guys are on the field. Guess what?
7:07That means the ball in passing situations is funneled to the best pass catcher on the field.
7:12And just point blank Malik neighbors is head and shoulders away from everyone else.
7:16So that's exactly what happened with us. You know, with Jackson Smith and Jigba last year.
7:20I mean, 38% of his routes that had heavier personnel looks.
7:23That's where he got 51% of his production, according to Ryan Heath.
7:27And so this offense is one of those across the league that could, you know, filter that same exact pathway from Malik
7:33neighbors to have a monster year on top of even when they're in three wide receiver looks.
7:38Hey, he's pretty damn good. Yeah, the ball is going to be completely funneled.
7:42I looked back July 3rd, 2021. I wrote a column card called yards per route runs major bias and was talking about
7:48two versus three wide receiver sets in that I'm looking at it now.
7:52Two wide receivers, the average yards per route run 2.3 with three wide receivers on the field.
7:56The average yards per route is at 1.6. Like the ball just gets funneled to these guys, especially when it's like Patrick
8:03or cards, never going to be out in the route.
8:05Chris Manners, never going to actually be out in the route.
8:09He's just going to get funneled the rock the whole time.
8:12He made another improvement in camp where he's actually out in real drills.
8:15So he's on pace to be a major part of the offense in week one.
8:20And I think that his tape will start to feel really good as we get to Thanksgiving towards the fantasy playoffs.
8:26And I'd be pretty surprised if he's not like around one, two turn value once we get to the very end of the season.
8:32Yeah, I have him 22nd overall. So in the heart of round two, he's 28th overall in consensus rings out there.
8:38I'm glad you just mentioned the injury update because right before the show, I finished up with Greg Rosenthal over on NFL Daily.
8:45And he's been listening to these Giants beat writers.
8:47And while I was optimistic about the injury, Greg was a little bit pessimistic and said like in these drills, he has not had contact.
8:54And that just started this week. Yes. And so while he has technically been at practice, it hasn't really been game like situations.
9:01But it sounds like they're just slowly ramping him up in order to do that.
9:05Yes. I've been listening to a lot of Giants reporters too, just because you've got the Najee Harris camp schedule stuff.
9:11And they've mentioned the same thing. It's not full contact yet.
9:14But the fact that every single week they're introducing a new type of drill to him makes them still believe that he
9:20would be on pace for week one. And guess what?
9:23Even if he wasn't out there for week one, you could still pay off around three ADP.
9:28All right. You copied my picks in rounds two and round three.
9:31Let's see if you're going to make it round four as well.
9:35I don't think so. I should have gone back and looked at yours.
9:39But I don't think I'm doing it here. Did you pick Jalen Waddle as well in round four?
9:44I did not. But I would love him. Yeah, this is the fourth pick of round four.
9:48There's literally an endless list that makes Jalen Waddle a smash selection in round four here.
9:53I mean, over four yards per rat run on play action last season and the Dolphins were not good last season.
9:59And the Broncos, you know, had the third most passes off of play action in the league.
10:04And if you just, again, look at the Dolphins not being good, Jalen Waddle was still the wide receiver 18 in points
10:10per game from weeks one through 16 on offense.
10:12That was 31st in place per game. Now he goes to an offense that is fifth in place per game.
10:18And that offense that is fifth in place per game gave Courtland Sutton 220 more routes than Jalen Waddle.
10:24Wow. Last year, 220 more routes. So, yes, maybe we should speak more, Hayden, about how he gets banged up and ends
10:30up in the blue tent a bit more often.
10:32That's fine. I'm hoping that it doesn't happen because if it doesn't happen and we get 17 games out of Jalen Waddle,
10:39he's one of these players who is, you know, drafted as wide receiver 17.
10:42That when we talk about league winning upside, jumping from wide receiver 17 up to like the wide receiver seven in scoring,
10:49albeit that would be like a home run swing.
10:51But that is what league winners are made. It's not these small wins.
10:55It's big wins. And Jalen Waddle has big win potential this year.
10:58Yeah, I got him in round three. I love drafting him in the fourth round.
11:03It really just depends on who my top three picks were.
11:06If I need a wide receiver, he's been my favorite.
11:08Click him and Ted Rowe McMillan would be my favorites.
11:11I have the same note. It's just the routes are going to go up.
11:15This is like pretty similar to George Pickens where like we know he's good at football, but what if he's like actually
11:22the focal point of a good play caller with a better quarterback and just better infrastructure?
11:26And on top of that, there's just more routes.
11:29Like that's how you can really dream up a huge season from Jalen Waddle.
11:33He was back at practice. He just burnt Pat Sertan for a 60 yard touchdown.
11:37I love Sertan's response. He's like, it was a good play.
11:40Like these guys are, they're so stubborn. They're so full of themselves that they can't even acknowledge how good Jalen Waddle is.
11:46But if you're beating Patrick Sertan in practice, I think that you're going to play in week one.
11:51Yeah. And one of our favorite underlying metrics to protect league winning seasons, Brian Heath had the great column a couple of
11:57years ago talking about first downs per route run.
12:00And that is sticky from, you know, the season before to a league winning season.
12:04Jalen Waddle was eighth in first downs per route run last year.
12:08Now, I will say some of our colleagues and maybe even you, I think are getting extremely aggressive on Jalen Waddle's ranking.
12:14And it might not be necessary. Harmon has him 26th overall.
12:17Boone has him 29th overall. I have him 36th overall.
12:20And I'm still able to get him on every single platform.
12:23Yeah. We just want to be extra right when he pays off as a top 12 guy.
12:28Speaking of being extra right, by the way, this whole list is going to be correct.
12:32So hit subscribe. Leave a thumbs up. We are on the pathway at some point to 200,000 subscribers.
12:37But our whole goal this year is to help you win your fantasy league.
12:41Again, every single video we're posting for per week right now is some topic that will help you have an advantage, have a leg up in your draft.
12:49So go and watch another one after this. Hit subscribe and leave a thumbs up as of right now.
12:55I might even do kicker videos. That's how desperate I am for your attention.
12:59So like subscribe the whole thing. It's coming. It's coming.
13:01All right. Let's go on to round five. Who do you got?
13:05So this is actually a six round pick because I might cheat a little bit later on.
13:10So I'm making good early. Okay. And this is probably the name that's going to shock you the most viewers and probably you Hayden as well.
13:17I'm going to pick Jadarian Price here. Okay. He's going at the third pick of the sixth round.
13:22It feels like there's really little hype around rookies this year just overall.
13:26And that can be because of the injuries we've had to, you know, Jordan Tyson and Makai Lemon and now Jeremiah Love.
13:32But the longer this process goes on during this August window, the more and more vocal I have been about Jadarian Price.
13:38And sure, I told you to draft the Seahawks backfield last year.
13:42But I think a lot of the focus on what the Seahawks backfield has been so far this offseason is, okay, how
13:48is Jadarian Price and George Holani going to split this thing up?
13:51It's not going to be the same split as what K9 and Charbonnet was last year where Ken Walker continuously got them
13:57inside the 10-yard line, inside the 20-yard line. And then Zach Charbonnet came in and literally stole 65% of the team's carries
14:04inside the 10-yard line and scored 10 times off of it.
14:07I think Jadarian Price, for as long as Zach Charbonnet is sidelined, has a chance to have massive games, huge games.
14:13And despite there being amazing optimism for when Zach Charbonnet is going to return and what his recovery is, some say week one, week two, week three.
14:20Hey, and I've got to be honest, I will bet against him being the same player that he was last year coming off this massive injury.
14:28So Jadarian Price, 32nd pick in the NFL draft.
14:30What we have seen from Hard Knocks is his past game usage that we can get to here in a minute, despite
14:36him barely showing that at Notre Dame. I just wonder if we are getting to a point where this is the rookie
14:43that has like real upside that is not getting enough attention right now.
14:46Yeah, first rounder that goes to the Super Bowl winning team.
14:49It doesn't make that much sense that there's not more buzz about him.
14:53I think it takes a lot of, you know, projection to get there because he was like in a very obvious like weird role as a prospect.
15:01You have to tell a story with Jadarian Price in order for him to have like a huge season here.
15:06Part of that story is just being realistic about the Zach Charbonnet stuff.
15:10I mean, he got injured really, really late into the season, into the playoffs.
15:14He didn't have his surgery until like actually this calendar year.
15:17So he would be a pretty aggressive timeline. And then the training camp reports and people that watch Hard Knocks, they're in
15:23favor of what he's been able to do. I saw Hawk blogger.
15:27He said that the receiving game has really stood out in training camp.
15:30Maybe not the pass protection, but like the receiving game.
15:33And that's something that the new offensive coordinator, he's been stressing after learning from the Christian McCaffrey offense.
15:38Five guys out in the route where last year would be two guys out in the route.
15:43So like these little details about the exact offense, you might get some more running back receptions this year versus in previous
15:49seasons, especially if, you know, the defense regresses a little bit.
15:53The offense isn't, you know, scoring 60 yard touchdowns every drive.
15:56There might be a couple more receptions than I initially thought with Jadarian Price.
16:00Yeah, I have him 50th overall, which is again, very aggressive.
16:03He's going 63rd. He's 65th in consensus rankings right now.
16:06Yeah, I mean, he just had 15 catches at Notre Dame because, you know, he played alongside a guy named Jeremiah Love.
16:12But again, we've seen it on Hard Knocks. And Robert Mays talked to the coaching staff was at training camp practices, along
16:18with all the beat writers that you're speaking about and says that Brian Flory wants to get, you know, more pass catchers out there in the field.
16:26And Jadarian Price is just lighting it up with that stuff.
16:29Like, Hayden, if you zoom out, is it really that much of a different story you have to tell versus Trivion Henderson, who's going ahead of him?
16:36Bachel Tootin, that's going ahead of him. Bucky Irving, that's going ahead of him.
16:40And like those guys had real moments already in the league.
16:43But again, Jadarian Price is on the Super Bowl winning team with an offensive line that is fully returning here.
16:49And one that, again, I highly doubt the backfield is going to be as rigid as it was last year with Ken
16:55Walker and Zach Charbonnet as it is with Jadarian Price and whoever else.
16:59Yep, Charbonnet. February 20th is when his surgery happened.
17:02So, I mean, I don't want to be mean and rude and negative here, but I just highly doubt he's the same player that he was last year.
17:09Just quickly, by the way. Yeah. Luther Burton is the fifth round pick, and I'm predicting he's going to stay as a
17:16fifth round pick because of this injury. I still love Luther Burton in round five.
17:20And I actually don't get why it's kind of being termed that he's being drafted at his ceiling.
17:25Like, that's not the case at all. You know, like Luther Burton.
17:28I'm not saying you're saying this. Other people are.
17:31That, yeah. Of course, I did just show Davis Maddox.
17:34We were predicting first round for 2027. You guys know Davis.
17:37Davis went full blown. He said Luther Burton 12th overall or something like that.
17:41So, yeah. I'm going to be on my last round.
17:44Right. Literally, you took the words right from his mouth.
17:47The upside is it's obvious. It's just like the odds of him paying off.
17:51I think where the bears are right now, you know, if all these guys are fourth, fifth, sixth round picks, that offense
17:57can be potent enough where all those guys do get home.
18:00Like, we're not talking about first and second rounders.
18:02I really like Roma Dunze. Others like Luther Burton.
18:05I'm a fan of taking darts on any of these guys, including DeAndre Swift, who I don't think gets mentioned enough.
18:11But that's not the point of today's show. So you have another six rounder.
18:15Then you have Jadarian Price cheating, getting into the fifth round.
18:18Who's your sixth round? That's not cheating. That's not cheating.
18:21That is... Saving up for cheating in the future.
18:23I know what you're doing here. Exactly. Okay. My real six rounder is Christian Watson.
18:28This is one of my favorite picks on the board this year.
18:31I mean, over 13 career games where he plays at least 75% of the route share on the field.
18:36Christian Watson averages 17 and a half fantasy points per game.
18:39That's good for wide receiver six in that time span.
18:42Okay. Romeo Dobbs is the only Packers wide receiver to run a route on 50% of dropbacks last year.
18:48He gone. He's no longer on this team. And they only have three wide receivers worth a damn now.
18:53And we also know that Christian Watson is locked into two wide receiver sets.
18:57So again, I understand that there's always, always this injury sound in the back of your head when you see Christian Watson's name on the draft board.
19:05I will say we are trying to win our leagues.
19:07And if Christian Watson stays healthy, this is the type that you're selecting him at wide receiver 28 that can easily finish
19:14as the wide receiver 18 or maybe even higher.
19:16Like again, the jumps. We don't care about drafting the wide receiver 35 that finishes the wide receiver 30.
19:22That doesn't do anything for you really. We want the massive leaps.
19:25The one that overperformed greatly where you selected them.
19:28And based on what we saw with Christian Watson last year and how even more condensed this wide receiver room is this
19:34year, he has a fantastic chance of doing it.
19:36Yeah, I love all the Green Bay Packers in fantasy.
19:39That includes love. Matthew Golden's been on my list.
19:42I think that something that you've hit on is just consolidation of the routes really matters because he's never been in this exact role that he has.
19:49He played on eight out of the nine snaps in preseason week one.
19:53As an example, Savion Williams is not a real wide receiver.
19:56Like this is a manufactured touch player. That's their wide receiver for it.
20:00They don't actually have a wide receiver for on the team.
20:03And then something I noticed in the preseason matches up what they've been talking about in offseason reports up tempo.
20:09It's not necessarily going to be no huddle offense, but get out of the snap or out of the huddle.
20:14Get to the line of scrimmage, snap the ball quickly and go.
20:18I think that they're worried about the interior of their offensive line.
20:21Their left guard spot has apparently been a complete train wreck in practice.
20:25And Aaron Banks is injured and whatnot. I think they're going to pass the ball.
20:29I think they're going to play with more pace.
20:31And I think they're going to easily outpace what they did last year, which was 27th and pass attempts.
20:37I can see them being closer to about league average.
20:40That's the type of difference of how you can reach a tier that people can't really comprehend.
20:44So I would say take a dart on a Packers player and take a dart on a Bears player and just see what happens.
20:51Well, and we can just stack up all the potential small wins there are for the Packers and what changes they're going to have this year.
20:59And that just naturally is going to raise up someone like Christian Watson or Matthew Golden in that, like you said, more just routes and drop backs.
21:06There's also going to be more snaps because of, you know, we are so used to this wide receiver rotation that is
21:12gone that Christian Watson is one of these guys that even if he's not as high variance as he has been in
21:19the past in terms of, hey, hitting on all these deep shots.
21:22We know last year when you watch the tape, his game evolved like third and six.
21:27He was a go to player for them. His out routes at least doubled, tripled, quadrupled last year in terms of percent
21:33of his routes that he, you know, hit on the outside breakers.
21:36And he's the Z spot, you know, he's not locked in online as pretty much at X.
21:41We're going to move around these stacks and get free releases and all that stuff.
21:45So, yeah, Christian Watson is one of my favorite picks on the board in any round this year.
21:50Yep. All the last year stats, he had his ACL surgery in that calendar year.
21:55It's like the fact that he was able to do that just like shows how much of a freakazoid he is.
22:01They paid him almost $100 million. So lots of incentives for Christian Watson.
22:04What I should have done, Hayden, is say that he's my fifth round pick because I actually have him 46th overall and he's being selected 58th overall.
22:12And then maybe by the end of the season, it looks more palatable when I say Jadarian Price in round six versus round five.
22:19Yeah. Who does? Yeah, I hear. I hear what you're saying.
22:22I think I got Christian Watson in inside my top 50 as well.
22:25So I think we see it similarly. All right.
22:28Round seven hit me. Yep. We're playing the hits.
22:31Parker Washington. He's the sixth. Yes. Of the seventh round right now.
22:34Still going back to back with Brian Thomas Jr.
22:37On Yahoo at the minute. I mean, his rise in the fancy landscape has been incredible.
22:41I mean, back in mid July when we started here on Yahoo and we did Harmon show.
22:46I think he was going 91st overall at that point.
22:49I had him 69th overall then. Now he's going 78th overall and I am 55th in my rankings.
22:54And it's pretty easy. Why? I mean, when Parker Washington, Jacoby Myers and Brian Thomas Jr.
22:58were all in the field together last year, Parker Washington was the wide receiver one.
23:03He had a team high 31% target chair and 3.17 yards per outrun.
23:06And he's out there in two wide receiver sets.
23:09And then three wide receiver sets. He plays about 63% of his snaps from the slot, which is exactly what we want.
23:15That's a good thing. He attacks the area of the field over the middle and the intermediate portion that Liam Cohen just dials up relentlessly.
23:22So Parker Washington is such a big winner of like week 11 and beyond last year.
23:27And I have such high expectations for him this year.
23:29Yeah, I hate to mog you, but I got him 47th overall in my rankings.
23:34I'm a huge fan of Parker Washington from week seven on.
23:37So like not even all the way into deep in the season, just week seven when he became a near full time player.
23:4321% target chair, wide receiver 15 usage. He was the wide receiver 18 in full PPR.
23:48You know, everything from training camp, especially you take another look at those cows, man.
23:52I've not seen somebody built that thick. What is hilarious to me?
23:55In the mean below. You and I record five hours of shows, six hours of shows every single week.
24:01Yeah. Back when we joined Yahoo, it wasn't me talking about Parker Washington that like changed your mind about him.
24:06It was literally his caps. No. I mean, have you seen them?
24:10Like there's no way those things are going to let you down.
24:13It's a totally different ball game. It's like it's insane.
24:16I hear you. By the way, Hayden keeps mentioning his rankings.
24:19If you want both of our rankings, they're in the description down below.
24:23Both half PPR and full PPR. I know I updated mine right before we recorded this episode.
24:28If you want even more information beyond Yahoo Plus, there's the ultra playbook.
24:31I mean, there's 150 page basically notebook that you get.
24:34And it's not just NFL fantasy football. It is all these different sports.
24:38It has, you know, tier rankings. It has our favorite targets and fades.
24:42I know Hayden's written a bunch of whole bunch of other things in there that I don't even know because I don't write that much.
24:49So, yeah, you can go and find out more on ultra playbook on Yahoo.
24:53Yeah. Matt Harmon, Scott, Joel. There's so much in there.
24:55It's insane stuff. All right. On to rounds. Number eight.
24:58You got a lot of quarterbacks and some injured players here looking at it.
25:02In round eight. In round nine. I'm stealing a couple picks that I earned with the Jaren Price one.
25:08Okay. So, commenters don't get mad at me. I'll read your comments.
25:11Don't get mad at me. It'll make me think about it all night.
25:15All right. This one is George Kittle and he's going at that seven, eight turn at the 12th pick of the seventh round.
25:21Right. This might confuse people. Let me tell you why.
25:24When George Kittle and Brock Purdy have played together just overall.
25:27Okay. For their entire careers. Kittle has received a team high 33% of a team's end zone targets.
25:32We know that last year his 2.18 yards per route run, which was third best among tight ends.
25:37He was third in face. He points per route run last year.
25:41I think you can argue that there's still some questions about the supporting cast.
25:45I'll be it's better than the one he played with last year.
25:48But what I love about George Kittle is I actually have him as tight in seven.
25:53He's being selected as tight in nine. I have him at same group.
25:56At the end of this tier with Sam Laporta and Tucker craft.
26:00But if you draft cover for him. To me, this is a great round for him on a platform like Yahoo where
26:06the tight ends are going quite early. That I'll pair him with a tight end later on.
26:11That is like this perfect one to punch for early and then later in the season.
26:15Yeah, this feels like where the wide receivers kind of took a hit, especially when we lost like, you know, Jordan Tyson, Alex.
26:22Some of these guys like in this range, we just kind of straight up lost them.
26:26Cardinal to put into that, I just feel a little bit less comfortable.
26:30So George Kittle looks better because of that. And then also we've gotten, I would say, Jawan Johnson is one of those guys that you're talking about.
26:38That can be your tight end one for a little bit.
26:41It's not named names. Dalton Schultz. Dalton Schultz is another one.
26:44All of a sudden, like the tight end two list.
26:47I can see for a couple weeks going with those guys.
26:50And then, yeah, you never know. I think there's a possibility that Kittle plays in week one.
26:55Like maybe he's on a snap count. Maybe we get more Jake Tonjes.
26:58But I'm not saying I'm starting George Kittle in week one.
27:01But I think it's a quicker timeline than other people believe that he'll be out there in a full snap share.
27:07And last time I checked, you don't win your fantasy league based off of your round seven pick in week one.
27:13So I think like we could, especially with you, this is your round eight pick hypothetically.
27:18To your point, like I like some of the tight ends that are selected, obviously ahead of him in Sam Maporta, in
27:24Brock Bowers, in Trey McBride, in Tyler Warren, all that group.
27:27But the wide receivers and running backs, I want to load up in that area, at least on Yahoo.
27:32And then, like you said, this eighth round range, the wide receivers, it's DK Metcalf, Alec Pierce, Jordan Tyson, Chris Godwin, Cortland Sutton.
27:39Like we don't want to talk about these guys on that show, you know?
27:43Nope. So this is where I'm going to start to take my onesies here.
27:47Yeah, that makes total sense. I'd say the quarterback's in the same spot.
27:51The more drafts I do, if you're in a crazy league where like Jalen Hurts has fallen to the sixth, seventh round stuff, totally get that.
27:58But a lot of the times you want your first six picks just being, you know, the flex eligible positions right now.
28:04All right, let's go to round nine. To me, this is where I take the falling quarterback.
28:09Yeah, that's his name. Just the falling quarterback. I like it.
28:12I mean, because I really feel like one of these players from round eight, one of these passers from Brock Purdy, Patrick
28:18Mahomes or Bo Nix is going to be available in round nine in your home leagues.
28:23My favorite one of those picks is Brock Purdy.
28:25I mean, I'll stack him here with George Kittle and maybe stack him with a player we're going to name a bit later on too.
28:32I understand that the 49ers had the easiest schedule in the NFL last year, but it's not like Brock Purdy had it
28:39easy, you know, beat up offensive line, beat up skill room.
28:42He was beat up himself. He played what eight or nine games.
28:45He still finished as the quarterback five in points per game after that.
28:49This offense, because of Kyle Shanahan is always going to have a high success rate.
28:53They're always going to have big points per drive and Purdy throws the ball down the field.
28:58Like, I hope everyone understands this, right? He completed a league high 61% of his throws 10 or more yards down the field.
29:04And that is not the first time he's led the NFL in that stat or been three times now.
29:10So far, he's been top two in that mark.
29:12So I understand that Brock Purdy is never going to be selected higher than the quarterback 12, basically, because you have phenoms
29:19and gazelles and prototypes that you can draft much, much higher than that.
29:22But in this system and attached to Kyle Shanahan, like we just saw when Brock Purdy is on the field, he can
29:28finish as a top five or six quarterback for you in fantasy.
29:32Yeah, I think it's a great range for quarterbacks in general.
29:35I would lean towards tiebreakers of who's fallen the farthest.
29:38And then have you drafted a tight end or a receiver that's a teammate of his?
29:42And then if not, then you can break ties.
29:45I think Bo Nix looks really good. I think Purdy is a great call out.
29:49And it's like even guys after like Matthew Stafford, you know, just won the MVP.
29:53He goes after this tier. And then after that, it's, you know, Jared Goff, who's been second in passing yards for three straight seasons.
30:00Jordan Love, we just talked highly about. Malik Willis is interesting.
30:03So like it is such a deep position this year.
30:06It feels like even deeper this year than it has previously because we've had some good quarterback classes in the last handful of years.
30:13So it's great range for quarterbacks in general. Yeah, it's why every single expert mock draft that you see or watch here
30:19on YouTube, quarterbacks go so freaking light. It's annoying.
30:22It's annoying. I mean, it's so different in your home leagues.
30:25Like, again, if we just look at Yahoo's ADP, like Josh Allen is a second round pick.
30:30But what at best in expert drafts, he's going to go to the sixth round.
30:34You know, I was in the Roto World mock draft and I love those guys.
30:38Joe Burrow went around 10. I'm like, OK, it's not in real life.
30:42We're on another planet. We're on another planet here.
30:44I mean, like it's supposed to be a mock draft.
30:47Not like I know better than you, you stupid idiots.
30:50Like, what is this? So dumb. Yeah. Hayden, whenever you can take, you know, Isaiah Likely ahead of Joe Burrow, you've got to do it.
30:57No, literally, it's like I would rather have Travis Hunter than Joe Burrow.
31:01It's like, OK, like, let's let's let's get back to reality here.
31:04Anyways. Anyways. All right. Are we round nine or round 10?
31:07I forget. We're round 10 now. My 10th round pick.
31:10Again, betting my fantasy season on this guy per the title.
31:13Bill Krosky-Meritt. But we're doing it all over again.
31:16OK. I mean, zooming out, led the backfield and touches last year.
31:19Yards from scrimmage with 873 touchdowns as well. That was as a seventh round rookie.
31:23You would like to think that, you know, a second year seventh round rookie has more cachet in the building, has more
31:30experience, especially after missing his entire final season of college football because he was deemed ineligible.
31:34But, you know, there's underlying metrics for every single player that we can point out that make us infatuated with them.
31:40But this one for Bill is one of my favorites this entire draft cycle.
31:44Yep. Josh Connerly, their second year tackle, said that they were very good in the outside zone last year and that they
31:50plan to do it much more often with David Blau calling place.
31:54Per fantasy points data, the commanders were best in the NFL last year in outside zone at 6.1 yards per carry.
31:59And Bill led the NFL in yards per carry on outside zone at 7.6.
32:03Now, there might be a somewhat small sample, but at the same time, right now Rashad White is out of practice with
32:10a groin strain or a hamstring strain. May or may not have been caused by an ALS ice bucket challenge.
32:15And Bill, I'm not saying he's Rashad White in the passing game, but Ben Standick and all these other beat writers are commenting J.P.
32:22Finley that he is improving in the passing game.
32:25So he just has to be like a net negative there.
32:28Just be fine in that category. And I think he's already the best rusher on this team.
32:33So this is like a post-hype sleeper, I think Bill Crossley Merritt is in 2026.
32:37He should be going earlier this year than he did last year.
32:40Like, like, I don't think that's even up for debate.
32:43Yeah, he's not. Yeah, it's going later. I see it the same way.
32:47I was, I was Rashad White curious initially. And then the more that they talked about Ja'Cory Crossley Merritt catching passes on
32:53early downs, which he's not going to be asked to pass for a decade.
32:57Like, they're just trying to get him. Could he catch 30 passes on first and second down?
33:02Like, could we do that? And it does seem like, like they feel a little bit more confident that that's possible.
33:08It's a, it's an explosive offense. He's an explosive player.
33:11He averaged 4.6 yards per carry last year. Like, I can totally see him.
33:14Like, him, Blake Corum, Kyle Menunga. If those guys don't get the starting role, like Ja'Cory Crossley Merritt could average like three,
33:21four more fantasy points per game over those guys.
33:23And he gets drafted later. So I think it's a great call.
33:27Yeah. And look, I waited. If we're looking at this as a actual roster that I'm building, and it's not an awful one, right?
33:33I think it's a pretty good one. Then the Jadarian Price-Bill Crossley Merritt combo, I think is a really cool one in the top, top two rounds.
33:41So that's one actually I've done frequently here. Okay.
33:44On to round 11. Round 11. I mean, we got to talk about rookies.
33:48And still in the strip club by myself, man.
33:50I'm 82nd overall with Deshaun Scribling. He's going in the 12th round, the third pick of the 12th round.
33:55I'm taking him here in the 11th round. But Hayden, based on my ranking, I take him in the ninth or 10th
34:02round if you need to in your leagues. And when would you draft him?
34:06Because I think this is like a fake ADP almost.
34:08I think people are going to show up to the party this weekend.
34:12It's like, when would you actually draft him? Again, I have him 82nd overall.
34:16And the 82nd overall pick, I mean, you don't have to take him here, but that's in the seventh round, okay?
34:22I think you can take him in the ninth round every single time, the 10th round, and you would get him in every single draft at this moment.
34:30It's going to trend in that direction once we get towards the end of August and early September.
34:35If he stays healthy and continues on this path, I mean, literally every single day, he's getting rave reviews and he's not
34:41coming off the field and he's getting the football.
34:44Again, there's just this anchoring that we have going on in the fantasy community right now.
34:48They don't want to fall in love with this guy because of their pre-draft opinions.
34:53Yeah. When, if you just looked at it, the 33rd overall pick competing with Mike Evans and Debo Samuel on an offense
34:59that we just talked about that is scoring points no matter what, we should fall in love with Deshaun Stripling.
35:05I have. I fell in love in the club and too many people have not yet.
35:09So catch up, get on board because I think Deshaun Stripling is going to have a really, really great season and we
35:15can still get him at a tremendous value here.
35:18Yeah. I think like the rule is that you see Quentin Johnson go off the board.
35:22It's time to add Deshaun Stripling into the queue.
35:25You know, like it's that, that type of tier, Michael Wilson, like those names start coming off the board.
35:30It's, it's time to draft them. I think he's going to be like the sleeper.
35:34We know it's the sleeper, but I'm believing in it.
35:37The offense is too good. He'll make anybody go at wide receiver.
35:41Like, you know, do you think Juwan Jennings is really that good at football?
35:45He had moments, you know, Demarcus Robinson comes in there.
35:48He has moments like you just cook when you're attached to Kyle Shanahan.
35:51And we've already seen it all with him, right?
35:54We, we seen him line up outside and catch ball down the field.
35:57We saw a manufactured touch for him. We've seen him in the slot on crossing routes as well.
36:03So this is already a player that they're calling extremely intelligent and is being able to absorb like every single alignment here.
36:09And I think Kyle's going to have a lot of fun utilizing him this season.
36:13One last thing on round 11 before we move on.
36:16Also love Matthew Golden this round. Also love Malik Willis in this round.
36:19Go and watch the NFL daily episode. I just did with Greg Rosenthal.
36:23Hayden, he said he would draft Matthew Golden straight up ahead of Christian Watson.
36:27I have them almost in the same tier. I pretty much nobody's higher on Matthew Golden than I am, except for apparently a triple G over there.
36:35But I mean, the training camp reports on Matthew Golden are, I've been really, really strong and he's a full-time player.
36:41I remember I was like, oh, he was a, he was a good athlete in the combine.
36:46I went back and looked at it for two, nine athlete.
36:49I mean, like we're talking incredible speed. So yeah, I love that call.
36:52All right. Round 12. Round 12. I'm going to take someone from round 13 and put them into round 12.
36:58This is, this is Keaton Mitchell. Eighth pick of the 13th round.
37:01I think he was on your list as well.
37:04I'll go quickly here. There's going to be a package of plays for Keaton Mitchell in every single game, right?
37:10Five to eight touches per contest. You think that's fair?
37:12Does that sound about right? And more, maybe it blossoms into more.
37:16Again, this is an offense with Mike McDaniel that supported the running back three and four in points per game just a
37:22couple of years ago, where one guy was the touchdown score inside the 20 yard line, Raheem Mostert.
37:27And then the other guy was the explosive big play merchant and Devon Achan and also touchdowns from distance and receiver.
37:33And maybe that can be Keaton Mitchell here. And we're seeing some like downfield routes from him in camp.
37:38I mean, it's, it's fun stuff. So look, I am not one of these people that is of the opinion that outright
37:45Keaton Mitchell is just going to snipe and take away this job from Amari and Hampton.
37:49But I just love the upside swing this late on.
37:52And he is not like a handcuff type for me.
37:55He has like standalone individual value in an offense that I really want pieces of.
37:59I'm not saying Keaton Mitchell is anything close to Devon Achan, but in that season that you talked about, he averaged 11 touches per game.
38:06I think that would be like the upside for Keaton Mitchell.
38:09But would I be surprised if it's eight touches per game?
38:12And if he's, there's no reason to not think that he's not going to have what one of the highest efficiency numbers
38:19like this is what he's done for years and years here.
38:22So I think that, you know, if he had eight touches, multiply that by six, seven yards of carry, like there's a
38:28chance in during bi-weeks, you can throw them into your flex.
38:31And there's a chance if Amari and Hampton gets injured, that he would be like a very, very big part of the
38:37fantasy discussion some way in the middle of the season.
38:40Yeah. And I don't think the Chargers intended to set this up, but they are kind of set up well to fill
38:46in for Tyler Biotish by taking Jake Slaughter in round two.
38:49Again, I believe they selected him for him to hopefully win that left guard job.
38:54He did not win that left guard job. And so now he just becomes our starting center.
38:58And the center spot is so important here for Mike McTain and we know his run concepts.
39:03So hopefully he can fill in. I know it's a rookie, but maybe he overperforms even his draft slot for him.
39:09Yeah. The interior of the offensive line is making me nervous.
39:12Well, the guards were even that at Miami last year too.
39:15Yes. But at a certain point, it's like guys I've never even pronounced their name before in front of a camera starting.
39:22And then, you know, rookie centers. But the good news is Keaton Mitchell, you run to the outside.
39:27As long as Trey Harris can hit the block.
39:29Run away from that. And you got Charlie Kohler.
39:32It doesn't fucking matter. So that's where we're at with the Chargers.
39:35Okay. We got two more here. Let's go round 13.
39:38You mentioned him earlier. I'll bring it home. That's Jawan Johnson.
39:41He's the 10th pick of the 13th round. I mean, 900 yards last year.
39:45And basically now the second best pass catcher on the Saints with Jordan Tyson's tie line.
39:50And you and I think towards the end of October, if not through October.
39:54So, you know, back on what? July 21st. Nick Underhill told you that all of Yahoo's ADP was well, well underrating Jawan Johnson.
40:00And he's going to be on the field all the time.
40:03And it's competing with Devon Valle and Bryce Lance now for targets.
40:07And they're going to run some heavier personnel stuff too with the Titans that they brought in.
40:11Plus, you know, drafting our guy and Oscar Delp out of Georgia.
40:15And that's going to help Chris Alave. And that's really going to help Jawan Johnson here too.
40:20Converted wide receiver. I'll throw in a little hashtag shower narrative for Jawan Johnson and Tyler Shuck at Oregon in about like 2018.
40:26Like, I don't think I'm exaggerating. I think like that might have actually like been the year.
40:31Um, but without Rashid Shahid last year from like week 10 on, he's a tight in five in yards per game, tight in eight in receptions per game.
40:39I mean, he's really good. Like he's a converted wide receiver.
40:42Like he's, you know, the Chigs, Isaiah Likely, like he is like the proven commodity of that tier in the fastest paced offense dome environment, easy schedule.
40:50Love it. Just to bring that point home on Yahoo and other platforms.
40:53Isaiah Likely is being selected as the tight in 13 in the ninth round.
40:57Chigokwankwo, who at some point was my highest drafted player.
41:00And I don't think I've touched him after that is tight in 16 in the 11th round.
41:05And Jawan here goes at the end of round 13 as the tight in 20.
41:09Um, I straight up have Jawan Johnson as the tight in 12 this year.
41:13I like it. Yep. I'm riding that range. I'd have rather have him than Ferguson, Mark Andrews, those guys, you know, I
41:19think I'd rather have Likely because he's probably gonna do it the entire season, but Jawan Johnson, the first month or two
41:26of the season, I'm going to be flirting with him.
41:28I'm going to steal someone from round 15 here.
41:31He's probably going to climb up to around 14, if not higher.
41:34Uh, I'll finish with Jonah Coleman, uh, from the Denver Broncos, the rookie running back Davis Webb spoke glowingly about him just
41:41two days ago after the preseason first game said, quote, I think after that one run, we all sat on the headset.
41:47Yeah, we're good. Um, and in fact, I think if you like read between the lines kind of surmise that the Broncos
41:53could potentially believe that Jonah Coleman is a running back of the future.
41:57So this is not a week one play for Jonah Coleman.
42:00It might not even be a week five play.
42:02But after that, at some point this year, I think Jonah Coleman is going to get big work in this backfield by injury or not.
42:09And he also has like usefulness in the passing game, which J.K.
42:13Dobbins does not have. Uh, Jonah Coleman is very calm and assured in that area too, that he showed in Washington.
42:19Yeah. Calm's a really great word for him. Just really trusted.
42:22Not a surprise that he's just like checking the boxes and training camp in the preseason, those two cutback runs, a little spin move on top of it.
42:30So yeah, just, he's not a great athlete. If he was, he would have been drafted in the first or second round.
42:36So that was like the discount. Uh, Sean Payton likes these guys in defined roles.
42:40He's capable of that. My question to you, and I've thought about this a lot.
42:45J.K. Dobbins, you know, it's week six pulls up lame.
42:47He's out for the year. Like truthfully truth serum.
42:50Take Josh. Is it Jonah Coleman or RG Harvey?
42:52I know it's going to be a committee, but like we draft RG Harvey in the ninth round and Jonah Coleman's going to be on waiver wires.
43:00I'm trying to like really think about that, uh, contingent value because I do think that I got the goal line and whatnot.
43:07I feel like it would be Jonah Coleman. Yeah, it will be Jonah Coleman.
43:11Um, and we're going to learn that I think more and more and more as we go through the final weeks of the preseason and training camp.
43:18I was just looking up during this episode, pulled up my prospect rankings at the running back spot.
43:23I had Jonah Coleman fourth running back four in this class.
43:26So was a huge fan. I called him this year's common guy.
43:30Guess what? I'm like this very show. I think we talked about Calvin on guy last year is one of our favorite
43:36picks and my favorite picks and in a given round.
43:39And, uh, I think Jonah Coleman has a fantastic chance of doing that.
43:43So, uh, we'll see five, eight, two 20, man.
43:45He's a fire hydrant. He's a submarine out there.
43:48He, he, he really is. I think he's going to be one of these guys after like week one, week two, he's
43:54going to be like the first guy you cut.
43:56And then I think on all the waiver wire shows, the last thing we'll say is just pick up Coleman now, just
44:03right now, just get it over with. Um, I was surprised you didn't say Mike Washington.
44:07I was waiting for the Mike Washington because I think you're talking about your pre-draft rankings.
44:12Yeah. Mike Washington might've, he might've been RB two for a certain somebody plays tonight.
44:16I'm very excited to watch him play. Mike Washington was RB two, uh, that run that he had in the preseason certainly
44:22won't dissuade me from thinking he might be running back to in this class.
44:26Uh, I'll leave people that are what, uh, I don't know, 45 minutes into this episode with a bit of a prediction.
44:32I think Mike Washington jr steals more away from Ashton Gentry than is being accredited to him right now.
44:38Agree. I don't see why not. Now, you know, that was only what?
44:41Like 14% of running back touches went to non Ashton Gentry players last year.
44:45Triple it. Triple it. That's a lot. That's a lot.
44:48I, I think it will be like 70, 30.
44:51I think it'll be 70, 30. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
44:53I think that's about right. Okay. But that's a huge difference than, you know, having a back that gets 86% of the carries that are in touches.
45:01That is, you know, the 12th, 13th pick in drafts right now for Ashton Gentry.
45:05So I like a dangerous truth serum, 45 minutes buried in there.
45:09No timestamps needed. Just clip it when it's right.
45:11I love it. Yes. Uh, yeah. The truth serum is, Hey, guess what?
45:15Mike Washington is going to get 30% of the workload.
45:18That's a huge, huge leap. Hey, tell that to the people drafting Gentry at 10th overall.
45:22Those are fighting words around here. Um, final thing on the NFL daily episode.
45:26Greg said he would draft Saquon Barkley third overall and was totally with me that he should be drafted.
45:31Well, well, well ahead of Ashton should be. This was a great episode.
45:35I didn't have to do anything. He set it up that like the four big things that fancy football has wrong this year.
45:42And, uh, half of them, half of them were, uh, right in line with how I think versus the consensus.
45:47I consume so many football shows. That's obviously one of them.
45:50I can always tell Greg, and I like this about him.
45:53He's like above fantasy football, but he's still fantasy football curious.
45:57He wants to give like a take here and there.
45:59Like he wants to be like 10% of a fantasy football analyst.
46:03Uh, so he has to get his little predictions in there left and right.
46:07I love it. One final thing. And again, maybe we should save this for Monday.
46:11Um, but we have a couple of extra minutes here.
46:14Jeremiah Love is like tanked in rankings since his high ankle sprain.
46:17Hey, do you want to take a guess where he's at in consensus rankings right now?
46:22Um, it's nuts. I've been drafting him in the fourth rounds, uh, in some drafts.
46:26I think that's ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised. Is it consensus 36 or something like that?
46:3140th overall in consensus rankings right now. I said it last month, Malik neighbors, the most mispriced player in fantasy cross off.
46:37We fixed that problem. Jeremiah Love my goal from this point forward draft Jeremiah Love every single time in round three, see what happens.
46:44I see a superstar out there and this team's going to give him the rock.
46:48He might miss the first game. Like who cares?
46:50Like this is a, there's, we never see somebody as talented.
46:53He, as he is available this late. Um, I think he's like an auto click round four.
46:58Jeremiah Love. You should like literally host a pizza party as you make the selection.
47:03Yeah. 40th overall would be the fourth pick of the fourth round.
47:06That's where Jalen Waddle's going on Yahoo right now.
47:08Now, again, Jeremiah Love is still the second pick of the third round, but I'm just saying with these consensus ranks, 40th overall.
47:15Um, yeah. I mean, I'll gladly take him 35th overall every single time.
47:19Well, you know what? Like it happens in the home leagues.
47:22Like you're going to see the Q, the O tag, like his name's in bright red.
47:26You know, there's fantasy doctors on the apps telling you to not draft this guy.
47:31And then all of a sudden like, you're like, Oh man, I really drafted Ladd McConkie instead of the third overall pick in the draft.
47:38That's going to do it. We're going to be back on Monday to probably repeat some of the stuff we just said about Jeremiah Love.
47:45But most importantly, most importantly to recap everything that happened in preseason week two, we're going to combine the running back wide
47:51receivers, most likely rankings changes into just one massive episode, uh, on Monday.
47:55We'll watch every single preseason game. So you don't have to.
47:58And that means all you have to do is hit subscribe, leave a thumbs up, even leave a comment down below.
48:04Uh, and yeah, we'll see you then big month up the Villa.
48:07Talk to you guys soon. See ya.
