Breece Hall

PositiveValue6:35

Justin Mello recommends trading for Breece Hall, noting that managers struggling to string together wins may be willing to move him while he recovers from a quad injury. Hall was highly effective with 20-plus touches in his two full games, and with a favorable schedule against Miami and Las Vegas in weeks seven and eight, Mello suggests acquiring him now before his price increases upon his return.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveValue19:12

Justin Mello suggests Brian Thomas Jr. as a buy-low candidate, primarily due to the potential for a trade to a more favorable situation like Buffalo, Kansas City, or Las Vegas. While currently struggling in Jacksonville, Thomas has proven NFL-level production and could see a significantly larger role in a new offense, making him an interesting hold if acquired for minimal cost.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveValue29:16

Snoog notes that he still really likes Colston Loveland, even though he has not popped on the field yet, suggesting he remains a player of interest within the Bears' offense alongside Luther Burden.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveBreakout13:32

Snoog argues that Jeremiah Love is a buy-low candidate who could mirror the second-half surges of rookie running backs like Jonathan Taylor, Bijan Robinson, and Jahmyr Gibbs. Despite recent low fantasy output, Love has shown elite talent and volume, including a 26-touch game against San Francisco. With Marvin Harrison Jr. gone, the Cardinals may lean more heavily on Love to unlock their offense.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue25:48

Justin Mello identifies Luther Burden as a buy-low target, citing his high-end efficiency metrics from 2025, including 2.69 yards per route run and leading all wide receivers in separation. Mello believes Burden's production will increase once Caleb Williams returns, and he views Burden as a player with wide receiver 2 upside who has passed the eye test better than other Bears pass catchers.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeBust23:32

The hosts express significant concern regarding Marvin Harrison Jr., noting that his physical transformation—specifically adding 25 pounds of muscle—has made him slower and less effective. While Mello suggests that a reunion with CJ Stroud could potentially unlock his talent, the consensus is that his performance has been disappointing and he is currently struggling to justify his draft capital.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveValue2:06

Snoog identifies Quinshon Judkins as a top buy-low candidate, noting he is a 23-year-old stud who is seeing increased volume, including 15-17 touches on the ground and 4-7 targets per game over his last 3-4 outings. Despite coming off a season-ending injury and failing to find the end zone, his efficiency and touchdown equity are expected to improve as he hits his stride midseason, supported by an easy upcoming schedule for the Browns.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

NegativeUsage18:39

The source expresses skepticism regarding Rome Odunze's fantasy outlook, noting that the team's coaching staff shows a strong preference for the run game and other players like D'Onta Foreman, leading to a lack of confidence in Odunze's immediate role.

Insight page
PositiveBust29:08

The hosts express disappointment in Rome Odunze's performance, with Mello stating he is done with him and the other hosts agreeing that he has not popped on the field. They suggest his skill set has not translated well to the current Bears offense and that he is not a priority target compared to other options like Luther Burden or Colston Loveland.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

PositiveValue9:53

Snoog highlights Zach Charbonnet as a buy-low, noting the Seahawks' desperation for a trusted lead back following ball security issues from other players. Charbonnet, who is recovering from an ACL tear, is expected to return around week seven. He is viewed as a potential league winner who can reclaim the high-value goal-line and third-down roles he previously held.

1:23But Snoo, give us your first buy in redraft right now.
1:26Yeah, I would say my favorite one right now is Quinshon Judkins.
1:29I think the Browns are, you know, really cruising right now.
1:32Their offense looks pretty decent. Casey Concepcion missed this past week with the injury, but he's still 23 years old.
1:38He's a stud. I think he's, you know, going to get a lot more volume involved.
1:42He's been getting receptions and targets, which matters a lot for a player like that, right?
1:47You know Quinshon Judkins is at a floor getting 15 to 17 touches in the ground game.
1:52We're seeing four, five, six, seven targets in his past three to four games right now.
1:56Fresh off a season-ending injury, by the way. I think he's going to hit his stride midseason, you know, week eight on,
2:02and they have a really easy schedule. The Cleveland Browns moving forward, especially a lot of those defensive matchups that they have to face.
2:09So I'm excited for him, and I think he's a super talented running back.
2:13Like the burst, the player he is, they're going to start to build around him in that run game a little bit.
2:19Watson's been able to open up the field. Boston, Fannin, Casey Concepcion, they're playing out of their minds right now, and they're all super young still.
2:26So he's my number one buy right now. I love that.
2:29He was a guy I was so excited about in the offseason, and then I think, like you said, he's coming off of an injury.
2:36And so we kind of see that ramp-up period at the beginning.
2:39And I think everyone should have known New York and Cleveland was going to be an absolute slog.
2:44And the volume's still been there, so I love this one.
2:47I'm very excited about him moving forward. Yeah. The other interesting thing about it, too, is yes, coming off the injury, you
2:54hope he's feeling a little bit better, looking a little bit better down the stretch.
2:58But the funny thing is, last year he was scoring so many touchdowns.
3:01And the irony of it is, this year the offense has been better.
3:05The team has been better. They've had some better game scripts.
3:08They've been winning more, and he's still not finding the end zone.
3:11To me, that's going to come. It's unfortunate. Maybe some of that has to do with the injury issues.
3:17I think he's going to start scoring. The volume is certainly there.
3:20I think the efficiency will come with time. So down the stretch, I think he's somebody who could really be a nice piece.
3:26But Mello, I think ironically, we talked about him maybe in our last rankings episode before the season started, before your drafts.
3:32And we said the big thing with Quinshon Judkins is, if all of these new pieces could elevate the offense, he's going
3:39to get that touchdown equity even more, which has been kind of his calling card.
3:43And we could see a huge year. Like you said, it hasn't come, but I think it's a sign that it is going to.
3:49And ironically, the other guy we mentioned with that exact same note was this next guy you're going to talk about.
3:55Yeah, and that's Brees Hall, the other guy in that game yesterday.
3:59Again, we talked about this offense being better. That could help Brees Hall.
4:02And of course, he's been hurt. So that's really been the issue for Brees Hall.
4:06Let's not forget how involved he was and how effective he was the first couple of weeks of the season prior to getting hurt with that quad injury.
4:14There's a good chance the manager in your league who has him has been really struggling to shrink together wins.
4:20So they might be willing to move him. You look at the draft capital you had to get to get him.
4:25He's been unavailable. So they might be looking to get wins right now.
4:29They might be willing to trade him. And he could actually be back this upcoming week, week six.
4:34I think week seven is a more realistic target, which is why I like him for teams that are doing pretty well.
4:40If you're 5-0 or 4-1. And I feel a lot better about the Jets after that win yesterday.
4:451-4 feels a lot different than 2-3. They might now be incentivized to get him back sooner if they want to try to make a playoff push.
4:53I don't think they'll be able to. But at least there's the opportunity there where if you're 1-4, maybe you're punting on the season.
4:59You're just keeping Brees in bubble wrap to keep him upright.
5:02But back when he was healthy at 20-plus touches in both games he actually started and finished in, he plays Miami and
5:08Las Vegas in week seven and eight. I want him before that because I have a feeling the price will be a lot higher at that time.
5:16I think this is a great one. I think the involvement's been so undeniable.
5:20And we keep kind of using the phrase somewhat matchup proof.
5:23He kind of is because of the game script situation.
5:26He's getting so much in the air that, yeah, it's the Jets.
5:29They're probably going to be trailing in a lot of these.
5:32But he's still going to get his because Gino's been dumping it off to him so much.
5:37And that's a very cupcake schedule coming up. So I agree with you.
5:40I'd rather be a week early than a week late on Brees Hall.
5:44Yeah, absolutely. I think that's a good one. All right.
5:47We never do this. We're usually such a wide receiver show.
5:50I feel like we've got three running backs to kick off our buys.
5:53Let's talk about Zach Charbonnet. I think it's just been so apparent and it was especially apparent yesterday that the Seattle Seahawks
6:00team is desperate to get their trusted veteran running back back in the mix.
6:03Two lost fumbles, one from each back, Emmanuel Wilson and George Alani yesterday against San Francisco.
6:08Wilson's done decently, I think, in the lead back role.
6:11But like even when Price was healthy, I think it was clear that they were missing a true number one.
6:16And Zach Charbonnet has proven he can do that in the past.
6:20In 2025, the third highest graded rusher, according to Pro Football Focus, tied for fifth in the NFL in rushing touchdowns.
6:25And that was all while he was playing alongside Kenneth Walker, competing with him.
6:29Now it's just a room full of running backs that the Seattle team cannot get going and who have all had ball security issues.
6:36So still recovering from an ACL tear, as everyone knows.
6:39Charbonnet likely not to return this week against Denver on Thursday Night Football because of the short week.
6:44But Mike McDonald and the Seahawks seem to be targeting week seven against Kansas City as the return date.
6:49Like I just said with Brees Hall, I would much rather be a week early targeting Charbonnet than a week late.
6:55Yeah, I love that. I think he's proven to have that role already with Mike McDonald.
6:59You know, the ball security things, I think you mentioned are really good.
7:03He's going to get some receiving work as well.
7:05But it's more so like, I think it's always going to be a committee in Seattle.
7:10But they need like that lead guy to be like the one that they trust.
7:14And like goal to go situations or like red zone or like when, you know, there's four minutes left in the fourth quarter.
7:20Like they need that 1A, like they had 1A, 1B with Walker, Charbonnet.
7:24They need that 1A now because they got a couple 1Bs.
7:27Yeah. And even if it is a true committee, which I think is certainly possible, look at the opportunities he got last year.
7:33It was down by the goal line and on third down or passing downs.
7:37Those are the most valuable downs, the most valuable situations from a fantasy perspective for a running back.
7:42He was taking that away from Ken Walker last year, which is why Ken Walker was so frustrating in fantasy despite being clearly incredibly talented.
7:49So now there's no Ken Walker. He still should get those situations.
7:53And he could be that 1A, like you said, as opposed to the 1B, get more in between the 20s work as well once he's back.
8:00So he's somebody that could be a league winner potentially.
8:03100%. Yeah, I love that. The next guy I'm going to roll with, I'm going to keep things going.
8:08I mean, this is four straight running backs. I'm going to go Jeremiah Love.
8:12Way too talented to not be, you know, a league winner down the stretch.
8:16Third overall pick, like people were putting that elite level prospect name all over him.
8:20He's looked good every time he touches the ball, catches the ball in space, you know, scores touchdowns left and right.
8:26Like he's looked good every time I see him touch the ball.
8:29I think it's just whatever's going on with whatever he's saying and this committee thing in the past two weeks.
8:34He's barely been getting, you know, fantasy points, but he's still getting involved.
8:3815 plus touches, 12 pluses against Detroit in a blowout.
8:41If you look at that San Fran game, he had over 26 touches, five in the receiving game, 21 in the ground game.
8:47Looks phenomenal as a runner, gets a good defense.
8:50Week one, he scored right away too. Like I think this, I feel like he's going to have that like Jonathan Taylor
8:56rookie year resurgence where it's like from week like eight on or week nine on, he's just a league winner.
9:01And just balls out and like they start to get involved.
9:04Marvin Harrison Jr. is gone. So that means they need another person to step up maybe as a pass catcher.
9:10Maybe they're going to really rely on that run game a little bit more because it's going to be Wilson.
9:16It's going to be McBride, but they're going to need that third elite weapon to unlock this offense.
9:21And the Cardo's offense still with Jacoby Brissett just scores so many fantasy points.
9:24So like why not buy into this like elite level 21 year old rookie running back where rookie running backs always typically start off slow.
9:31The first four to eight games we saw with Gibbs.
9:34We saw it with Bijan. Like that's a reoccurring thing.
9:37Even if you buy into him now and he gives you top 14 to 12 production the rest of the season, I think it's a win.
9:44Absolutely. I mean, we saw yesterday they had two passing touchdowns to Quentin Tarantino.
9:48I think they've got enough volume to go around to everyone else.
9:51I'm so in on this one. I actually am like kind of mad that you took this.
9:56I think you should be going out and buying him like whatever you can do to go get him.
10:01I wouldn't go like hog wild and start giving up like running backs who are actually giving up elite production right now.
10:08But what did he put up yesterday? 2.2 points.
10:10And he put up an absolute dud. Yeah, exactly.
10:13Perfect time to buy a player like that. Two bad games in a row.
10:16Absolutely. The vibes are like weird. He had that quote about like this is going to be the longest year of my life and all this stuff.
10:24And like I just think this is exactly the type of energy around a guy in a team when you want to
10:30buy them as a rookie because the explosion is going to come.
10:33Yeah, you already mentioned a lot of the guys.
10:36We've seen it with Bijan and Gibbs and Jonathan Taylor.
10:39Alvin Kamara is another one that comes to mind that down the second half of his rookie year completely won leagues.
10:44Ridiculous. I think Jeremiah Love could very well do the same as long as we see that volume go up, which theoretically it should.
10:51Can I say something? I'm sick of what is this three years in a row?
10:55We've had all these talented elite running backs and not a single one has been great in fantasy.
11:00Djentje, Hampton, Judkins, Henderson. You can even say Tootin, Jeremiah Love.
11:03Like what are they doing with young running backs now?
11:06What happened to, okay, there's this elite level running back.
11:09I'm going to take you fourth or fifth or sixth overall.
11:12Here are the keys. Go be that elite player that we drafted.
11:15Like they don't do that anymore. Like they're like the whole NFL refuses.
11:19They did what gives him Bijan. And those are like two of the best running back prospects we've had in a while.
11:25And now it's like, now they're like the best players.
11:28But Jeremiah Love, Djentje have been super disappointing. I mean, Djentje's so good, but the offense sucks.
11:32And same with the Cardinals. So maybe they figure it out.
11:36But I think Love, like you said, that second half, big time boomer.
11:39Well, why play elite prospects like Bijan Robinson and Jeremiah Love when you had Tyler Algier?
11:44Right. All right. Gotta play him. All right. Well, I'll finally shift gears to what we typically talk about.
11:49And that's a wide receiver. And people aren't going to like this.
11:52And I get it. But it's Brian Thomas Jr.
11:55for me. Ooh. I am not a huge Brian Thomas guy.
11:58If you've listened to the show, I was out on him this offseason.
12:01You know I'm not a Brian Thomas guy myself.
12:04He had zero catches in London on Sunday. Really should have had a touchdown.
12:08Failed to get the feet down, which was a really bad look for him.
12:12It looked like he should have caught it. But let me build a realistic narrative.
12:16He could very well get traded to a much better situation.
12:19Parker Washington is legit. Oh, I would love Buffalo.
12:21But it just doesn't make sense for the Jaguars to hold him yet.
12:25Parker Washington, who's elite. Like, I'm comfortable calling him an elite receiver at this point.
12:29Jacoby Myers is a very important piece of this offense.
12:32Bretton Strange has been very involved in the passing game.
12:35This coaching staff evidently really likes rookie Josh Cameron.
12:37He had six targets yesterday. The Jaguars just don't have a need for Brian Thomas Jr., who can't quite gel in this offense.
12:44They may be incentivized to trade him while they still can.
12:47Similar to what we just saw with Marvin Harrison Jr., who fetched a second round pick still.
12:51And unlike Mazda Marv, we have actually seen it from Brian Thomas Jr.
12:55at the NFL level before. He was wide receiver.
12:57Four is a rookie. He has some juice. So what if he gets traded to Buffalo?
13:02Like you said, I would absolutely love that. Kansas City, New England, hell, even Las Vegas.
13:06I know they have Brock Bowers, who's going to be hyper-targeted.
13:09But they have a weakness at wide receiver big time.
13:12Regardless, if he gets moved, it could be to somewhere where he all of a sudden has a much larger role in his offense.
13:19Far from a lock to happen. But I'm not telling you he will get traded.
13:23But he's been candidly unstartable and maybe extremely cheap in your redraft leagues.
13:27If you can get him for true chump change, he's an interesting hold to me.
13:31Yeah. Marv's like one of those. He's like the Mazda.
13:34You take the Maserati off the Maserati logo, slap it on the Mazda, throw some tints on it, and drive it around.
13:40Dude, I'm so glad you brought up that comp because I've been seeing people compare the two of them.
13:45And I'm like, these two things are not the same.
13:48I think there's something mental with Brian Thomas Jr.
13:50And there's something going on with him in Jacksonville.
13:53And I actually think a change of scenery is going to help him a ton.
13:57I just don't think Marvin Harrison Jr. is talented.
13:59And Mello, we've just been saying that since forever.
14:02And I don't think that going to Houston is just going to fix this.
14:06I do think a change of scenery and maybe an opportunity in a new offense could actually help Brian Thomas Jr.
14:12I think this is a great pick. I think for Marv, the biggest thing was when he came out, a lot of
14:18what he did well was being such a smooth mover for his size.
14:21His footwork was phenomenal. And he became a bodybuilder.
14:24He put on like 25 pounds. And I never thought it was a good thing.
14:28That's the worst thing possible. And he got slow.
14:30He's like a tight end. What was the Booger McFarlane quote?
14:34A Popeye's biscuit away from being a tight end.
14:36And I want one of you two to correct me if what I say here is incorrect.
14:41I have never in my life heard of a receiver bulking up and putting on muscle and it bettering them.
14:46Every time it makes them worse. I think Zay Flowers did it.
14:50Like the smaller, smaller guy. Yeah, if you're so small, right.
14:53If you're tight. Yeah, but no. I think I personally, I'm a Marv guy.
14:57I think if anybody's going to unlock him, it's CJ Stroud.
15:00I mean, this is literally his college QB who he emerged with, who spoon fed him.
15:04Unbelievable. He can make those throws that Jacoby Percet could never make.
15:07Like even when Marv is covered, Stroud can put that ball where it needs to be, where Marv can make the play.
15:13That's like the kind of receiver Marv is. Like kind of like your Cortland Sutton type of player.
15:18Like great ball skills. But he just needs to have that confidence that like he has a QB that trusts him.
15:24Who knows? I think this is the one situation that would save him.
15:28So if he can't be good in this situation, he just sucks.
15:31Yeah. I'm interested to see it. I'm not like rooting against the guy personally.
15:35I just we've taken so much flack. I want him to.
15:38I really want him to be good. So I hope he is.
15:42All right, Melo. You were deciding to be the bigger man and name a guy that you haven't been so positive about as a buy.
15:48I'm going to do the same thing and talk about Luther Burden.
15:52I would say not only was I not pro Luther Burden in the offseason, I was actually pretty anti Luther Burden.
15:58But right now, I actually love the price you can pay to get this guy.
16:02The Bears vibes rough after just one week here that lost the Packers.
16:05We even had Zaire Franklin say about Luther Burden.
16:08He quit today. He didn't want to play no more.
16:11I am buying low on this team that we were all so high on this offseason.
16:15A big part of the argument of why I think you should get him right now is that the Caleb Williams return is imminent.
16:22I know people are going to say, well, he wasn't even that great when Caleb was healthy earlier on the season.
16:28And to that, I would say we saw one game against Carolina that was bizarre where the Bears rushed for 291 yards.
16:34And the other game, we saw a rain and weather plagued game against the Minnesota Vikings who have shut down each and every offense that they've played.
16:41And so for Luther Burden, I think his ability to even manage being a flex option through this Tyson Bajan, Case Keenum
16:47offense feels like a feat in itself. And I think once we get Caleb Williams back, we're going to see a lot
16:53more volume and a lot more production from Burden.
16:56With this brutal loss to the Packers, I think the Bears are going to be plenty ready to get Caleb back.
17:02And as soon as he is back, I want to give people a refresher on how good Burden was last year when
17:08he was with Caleb Williams, rather than in that weird one and a half game sample.
17:122.69 yards per outrun, third among any wide receiver with 50 or more routes in 2025.
17:17Top 10 catch percentage in the NFL at 78%.
17:19And per NFL Next Gen Stats, this is an anti-Marvin Harrison Jr.
17:23statistic, he led all NFL wide receivers in separation.
17:25Target a guy who is holding on to Luther Burden right now, looking at him as a flex, rather than a guy
17:31with high-end wide receiver 2 upside, which is what I think he actually is.
17:35Mm-hmm. Yeah, and for what it's worth, I know it's not been great for any of these Bears pass catchers.
17:41He's the one that's passed the eye test far more than anyone else.
17:44Absolutely. He has popped when he's had the ball in his hands.
17:48Don't even get me started on Roma Dunze. I'm done with Roma Dunze with how he has looked.
17:53The Roman Empire has fallen, Melo. The Roman Empire has officially fallen.
17:56Colton Loveland's a player I still really, really like, but he certainly has not popped on the field.
18:01Kalief Raymond's been productive, but he's Kalief Raymond. Like, what are we talking about?
18:05Luther Burden's looked the best of the bunch. Rome can't be built in a day, but it can certainly fall in five weeks, and it's over.
18:12Yeah, I agree. I think Luther and Colson are the guys still.
18:15I was never a big Rome guy since him coming out as a prospect.
18:19Like, I loved him as a rookie prospect. And then, like, it just always never felt like it was going to be it.
18:26Like, it felt like it was always going to be crowded.
18:29Like, it wasn't going to ever work out with his skill set.
18:32If Luther were to go down, I'd be in on Rome.
