1:40And today we are here with explosive shots. Shoo, shoo, shoo, shoo.
1:44Explosives. Because we're going to give you players that we absolutely cannot stop drafting on the Redraft side.
1:50We've got about 12 players. We've got two running backs, two quarterbacks, two wide receivers, and two tight ends each.
1:56So we're going to get to it. But before I do that, I'm joined by my illustrious co-host.
2:02I'm Chef GPT, of course, and I'm joined by my illustrious co-host, Mr.
2:06Coach Retzlaff III, the first himself. Coach, how are you doing today, brother?
2:10Hey, Jared GPT. If I was any better, Chef, I'd be triplets.
2:14I'm so excited. It's crazy how the calendar is moving towards September, and we're in the 20s of the August month.
2:21And it's just crazy because you think it's so far away, but the season is right about to be here.
2:27So I couldn't be more pumped. And we're finally going to be done drafting eventually.
2:32But we're talking about players that want to be done drafting.
2:36So it's funny how it goes. You're ready for the season to start, to play the game, to play fantasy football.
2:42Actually have to make those decisions, set your lineup, put the guys in the IR slot, stash away the players.
2:49You know the drill. So let's get us started, Chef.
2:52Where do we want to jump off first? Well, we're going to go to the running back position first.
2:58And because I am a gentleman and somewhat of a fake science scholar, I'll let you go first.
3:04So why don't you lead off with your running back of choice?
3:08So what's going to happen early on, there's the running back clump in the 1-2 turn, early rounds.
3:13It is going to be, and how do you pick one?
3:17You know, you've got to catch them all. Oh, a piece of candy like James Woods and Family Guy.
3:23At the 1-10 RB6, it is Chase Brown. I love Chase Brown, the utility.
3:27We didn't get any competition to come in for him.
3:31And he's just a perfect PPR weapon and machine.
3:34Last year, he was seventh in target share, fourth in routes run, sixth in receiving yards, fifth in receptions with a very nice 69.
3:41Fancy points per game was the RB7, 16.6. Derrick Henry was the RB8.
3:45So you can kind of see where the machinations of a built running back like Derrick Henry, somebody like a Chase Brown
3:52who can just get some PPR checkdowns. I love this offense firing back.
3:57We hear a little bit of news, Chef, about Jamar Chase having something to do with his ankle.
4:02Chase says he's okay. But the other Chase is somebody who I think you want to chase up the board in ADP.
4:09Two round one players for the Cincinnati Bengals. The beauty is, in fantasy football, the beauty is sometimes you can get Chase Brown early round two.
4:18So that's my guy. Who's your early running back that you love and can't stop drafting?
4:23As someone that I know always says, early informs middle, middle informs late.
4:27And where we are today is we have a complete mismatch and misprice of one Devon A-Chan.
4:32So we've heard all offseason about how Devon A-Chan is going to regress because there's no more Mike McDaniel.
4:38This offense isn't going to part of his utility is how dynamic he is as a pass catcher.
4:4467 receptions, I believe, last year. Less than your guy, Chase Brown, surprisingly.
4:48But he has the nuclear home run upside that very few running backs outside of the usual suspects in the Saquon Barkley's of 2024.
4:56The Bichons, the Jameer Gibbs. He gives you that home run upside where he can make your week with one run or
5:03one reception and go 80 yards because of that 4-3-2 track speed.
5:07And he's an inside of tackles grinder on top.
5:10And he gets typecast as this scat back. But he's one of the most complete running backs in the league.
5:16When people zig, I tend to zag. So I'm zagging hard here.
5:20I think that this is a complete mistake letting the RB5 from last year slip into the second round.
5:26The first pick of the second round is right where he's at in the FFD redraft crowdsourced ADP right now.
5:32So for me, Devon A-Chan, he's to bring home the bacon player for me this year.
5:38He's my guy. I was staunch and pounding the table early on in drafts in his rookie year.
5:43Like taking him at the end of the first round, planting my flag then.
5:48And now we have another opportunity to buy a player age 24, just turned 24 years old, got the big contract.
5:54And now they have to build this whole thing around him because you're going to be otherwise.
6:00And I love Greg Dulcich. Hand to God. I do.
6:03I love the Dulcifer. But we're talking about Caleb Douglas.
6:06We're talking about Chris Bell coming off an ACL.
6:09We're talking about Malik Washington, who's never garnered a role that commanded volume.
6:13So we could be looking for we could be looking at like a 17 to 18 percent target share for Devon A-Chan.
6:20So in the beginning of the second round, he's going to be my most owned player when I make the turn there.
6:27So why don't you give us your late round guy here as I because I'll just talk about Devon A-Chan until I'm blue in the face.
6:36Yeah, I kind of blacked out there because the beauty is rookie season A-Chan was round 13, 14, 15.
6:42You chased him up and it was like, oh, A-Chan's not a round three player.
6:47And then it was, well, he's not a round one player.
6:50Well, now you can get a little discount to round two.
6:54Will you pay for the dip? You are now praying for a dip from being a round one player.
7:00So I like where your head's at on Devon A-Chan.
7:03My true to form player is Jonah Coleman. He is at the 912 RB 34.
7:08I'm going to click him everywhere. I'm coming away with Denver Broncos everywhere I can.
7:12RJ Harvey is also there. 805 RB 29. JK Dobbins RB 26 at 706.
7:17If you miss along the way, you've got to be able to get one out of three like baseball hit 300.
7:24Give me some Jonah Coleman. So, Shev, who is your and he ran so well in preseason.
7:29Sean Payton saying I've seen enough. That's enough for me.
7:32It's just a matter of over the season, do you get opportunity?
7:36And I'm loving some Jonah Coleman. You take a stab at an ambiguous backfield.
7:41Give us your running back. That's a little bit later.
7:44Oh, it's going to be. You're going to hear a lot about me and what's going on with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
7:51It's going to be Mr. Chris Rodriguez, Mr. C-Rod Crod for those of you who are initiated.
7:56So, this is a guy who is coming in around right now at crowdsourced ADP round 15.
8:01He's basically been my last round pick in every single one of my every single one of the later fast drafts that
8:08I've done in the in the rabbit. So, I have been selecting and clicking the button on Chris Rodriguez as Basil Tootin arbitrage.
8:16The assumption that Basil Tootin in round five is going to assume the Travis Etienne role is just not something that I'm comfortable with.
8:23He got the second most guaranteed money and free agency behind only Tyler Algier.
8:28And there's a much more clear path for him than there is for Tyler Algier to pay off for fantasy relevance.
8:35Now, we're talking about a team in Jacksonville that was fifth or excuse me, sixth in inside the five carries.
8:41You had nine touchdowns for Trevor Lawrence. One of the things that Liam Cohen has stated over and over again is how
8:48they were not successful at grinding out the short yardage situations.
8:52They were one of the worst teams in the NFL in short yardage last year.
8:56And Chris Rodriguez has been the answer to that so far.
9:00And he's even been able to do that against Jacksonville's best league, best run defense.
9:05So, for me, I can't stop drafting Chris Rodriguez in the late rounds because I think he's going to pay off.
9:11I mean, as cheap as he is, even if he doesn't pay off, that's a guy that you can cut and never think about again.
9:19But for me, I think that this is signal, not noise.
9:23And what they've done, his relationship with Liam Cohen, the role that he's going to fill, and the opportunity in front of him.
9:30So, let's move on to the wide receiver position.
9:33And again, I will let you lead this off.

11:16Oddly enough, you can get plenty of exposure to Malik Neighbors because he's a round one player.
11:22So anytime I see him in round two, I gobble him up.
11:26Just like that James Wood piece of candy. Yes, or a turkey.
11:29Call me a turkey, right? Round three, too. There was a time where you could get Malik Neighbors in round three.
11:36And I've just been chasing all the way up the ladder Malik Neighbors.
11:40He's a wide receiver six right now in ADP.
11:43He's catching up to some of the more blue-chip type of wide receivers to where you and I, I was asking, hey,
11:50do I go Drake London or Malik Neighbors? It's that type.
11:54And it's back to the respectability. The right price is being put on Malik Neighbors' name.
11:59Rookie season, 170 targets, played 15 games. He could have very well pushed 190 to 200 when he's fully healthy.
12:05We could see a little bit of a dip in production because of the recovery from his injury.
12:11Even though he's shed the non-contact brace, he should be in good shape there.
12:16But I'm excited for Malik Neighbors. Just all the metrics that were there, his rookie season, just great numbers for him.
12:22And Malik Neighbors is somebody you want. And we were stolen from Jackson Dart last year in the first game.
12:29It can be so cruel, this game. Just kind of like Rashi Rice's injury where Patrick Mahomes ran into him.
12:35It was just so heartbreaking last year to see the turf monster get Malik Neighbors in Jackson Dart's debut.
12:41So all the goodness that we got from the Giants, the excitement was so delayed with Malik Neighbors.
12:47So I'm all about some Malik Neighbors. And he's somebody who you've been able to get higher exposure to because of this
12:54injury dip, which is starting to tighten. But still, I cannot stop drafting Malik Neighbors.
12:59Shev, who can you not stop drafting for the wide receiver position?
13:02I want to be honest with you. This player looks at me the way I look at photos of a young Dolly Parton.
13:10And if we're talking about a guy that I just can't get enough of right now, currently going off the board, going
13:17off the board in the sixth round, 609 in the FFD redraft ADP, crowdsourced ADP.
13:22I'm going with one Parker, mother, Washington. Hey, you thought I was going to do it, but I didn't.
13:28I was there. So Parker, Washington, it's just been a steady drumbeat since the end of the season.
13:34Now, you saw that over the course of that, over the course of the back half of the season, 74 yards a
13:41game, the fifth and fifth and contested catches, 2.84 yards per outrun, like fifth, I think third and missed tackles for 16 in contested catches.
13:49And now, if you're following the drumbeat over the camp at all, his teammates have now flipped the switch to, hey, we
13:56need to emulate what this guy is doing. We've heard Ellen, the GM, James Gladstone, GM for the for the Jacksonville Jaguars,
14:03come out and say Parker Washington and Brenton Strange extensions are the top priority for this organization.
14:08So it's bag season for Parker Washington. I feel like this historical significance of the slot role with Liam Cohen is going to pay dividends for us.
14:17It's it's it's like Rasheed Rice if he were actually good at receiver.
14:21So he got peppered with targets down the stretch.
14:24He was actually him and him. And what's my guy's name?
14:27Did you cover Jacobi Myers that no one ever really cares about?
14:31We're dead even in the heat after the trade.
14:34It's six point seven targets again to six point two targets a game that led to Parker Washington.
14:40Absolutely running roughshod over the field in, you know, in Jacksonville.
14:43Hundred and twenty three point seven right passer rating when targeted.
14:47We've we've heard all the signals. So fade him at your own at your own behest.
14:52I'm comfortable paying this price because I think he is mispriced completely.
14:56So this is a guy I know one person in the comments.
14:59Shout out to whoever you are. Said you think he could be in the same tears Garrett Wilson.
15:05But you look at you look at what the slot role for Liam Cohen has done and what he did once he was a 60 percent slot player.
15:14You know, you flip it, go back to the first week, nine weeks of the season last year.
15:20Twenty five catches, two hundred ninety seven yards, I believe two touchdowns.
15:24And that was with him lining up primarily outside.
15:27They flip it. Then all of a sudden it goes.
15:30I mean, it goes nuclear. So not only did Jacksonville have massive success and I know people are going to ask, hey, but Brian Thomas Jr.
15:38Finished finished the season strong his rookie year. And and nobody's nobody even talks about that.
15:43Nobody cares. This is a completely different coaching staff.
15:46Only three of Brian Thomas's top 10 weeks over with Trevor Lawrence.
15:50He only had three top 10 weeks as a rookie.
15:53The rest of that came with Mac Jones and a different offensive coordinator.
15:57We have the same offensive coordinator. Grant Udinski is the wonder kid.
16:01The next Declan Doyle, if you will, the next genius play caller to come out from under the Sean McVay tree that's branched out to Liam Cohen now.
16:10So I'm going to stop talking now because I could just go on and on for reasons why I'm all in on Parker Washington.
16:18But why don't you give us your late round player at the wide receiver position?
16:23And I'm right there with you with Parker Washington.
16:25I have him at the I think it's a three, four turn in very high right there with you.
16:32And you couldn't have said it better. I couldn't have said it better myself.
16:36So I'm glad you kept on going about Parker Washington and where people are just saying, wait, it's only crazy until it happens.
16:43It's only crazy until it's right. It's only crazy until the outcome occurs with Parker Washington.
16:48I'm there with you. And I think you will be affirmed on that, Shev.
16:53Casey Concepcion, he's another person who he has been misprinted for me right now.
16:57He's late. But in our rankings, he's 6'11". But all offseason, there's been misprints on Casey Concepcion where you might put Concepcion after Lemon and Tyson.
17:06But in the redraft streets, in the best ball streets, in the one quarterback rankings, it's always been like a six round gap.
17:13Like round 11 where you can get double digits.
17:16Casey Concepcion has been wrong in March. It's been wrong in June.
17:20And it's wrong towards the end as we get closer to kickoff, which his ADP is creeping up to me.
17:26Casey Concepcion is a fifth round player who you can probably get in round seven, who I would reach for him in round seven.
17:34And the way that he can get it and garner it is, let's say he gets 30 yards from kickoff return, 40 yards kickoff return.
17:42And then can he get some jet sweeps? Get some 15 yards a game?
17:46Bang one in for a touchdown. Like the leverage and the opportunity on just getting some manufactured touches is so there for Casey Concepcion.
17:54And it seems like he's taking the lever ahead just a little bit from Denzel Boston, who we're high on.
18:00But the utility of the everything burger that can happen for somebody like Casey Concepcion is what you want.
18:06And you pay a low price. You get a discount price for the fact that you have the stain of the Cleveland Browns.
18:14Shev, who's your late round wide receiver? I'm going to stay.
18:17I'm going to stay in the Liam Cohen tree of trust.
18:21And I'm going to go with Chris Godwin. So we saw Chris Godwin put up massive numbers as the slot receiver in 2024 with Liam Cohen last year.
18:30I mean, that was before he got his ankle just nearly severed.
18:34And he we were all kind of wish casting in 2020 and 2025 that he would come back and be healthy.
18:40And we didn't get to see the actualized version of it.
18:44He was obviously compensating. So but all the camp reports are that Chris Godwin is Chris Godwin of old.
18:50So if we can get the the yak generating slot machine PPR cheat code that Chris Godwin could be your guy.
18:57A mecha book has suffered. He's suffering from hammer toe, gargoyle toe, whatever you want to call it.
19:02But I think that this could be very bullish signal for Chris Godwin.
19:07Baker Mayfield already extremely comfortable throwing to Chris Godwin.
19:09And we've seen that proof of concept and how that how that pans out.
19:14So him coming in at 1208 in the FFD redraft ADP.
19:17This is a guy that I have no problem clicking.
19:21You can get him as your wide receiver four or five and you can just hold him on the bench.
19:27And that's an that's easy, easy, simple, clean 13 to 14 points.
19:31If he is back to pre injury levels, that's 17 points a game.
19:35That's what he was the first seven weeks of the season before that injury to the Baltimore occurred against the Baltimore Ravens.
19:42So Chris Godwin is my guy. Now, Jeremiah, we've gone running backs.
19:46We've gone receivers. Let's move over to the position group that has its own national day.
19:51Let's go to the tight ends. So who is your tight end that you can't stop drafting this year?
19:57Hey, for me, it's Tyler Warren, tight end three at the 401.
20:01We've listed all the stats numerous times about the first 10 weeks, what Tyler Warren did.
20:06It's just a matter of can we extrapolate out to a full 17 game season?
20:11If you believe in Daniel Jones being healthy, if you believe in the Colts just rerunning it from week one, that offense,
20:18the good juju that they had and they have injury luck, you're just going to see Tyler Warren thrive.
20:24We still see Alec Pierce kind of limping in his steps.
20:27We're getting some clearance clearance that Alec Pierce is going to be all right for week one or push towards practicing.
20:34There's some optimism out there. But then again, why sign Keenan Allen if there wasn't some worry there?
20:40And then of course, there's sharpness being crisp in those first couple of weeks.
20:44I think it sets up so beautifully for being a top target in this offense, not even the number two, just being
20:51the number one target in this offense. And pepper with targets from somebody like Daniel Jones, who if he's going to limit
20:58some of his rushing, he's got maybe limit some of the hits that he takes.
21:03Daniel Jones is going to want to get that ball out there.
21:07And who better than his best friend over at each hash mark than somebody like Tyler Warren.
21:13And then I think people are underestimating the fact that Tyler Warren, we get some goal line usage, maybe some tush push.
21:20Remember Daniel Jones, when he would do a QB rush, maybe he doesn't want to press and push off.
21:26I think you could get Tyler Warren involved in that.
21:29And then it's a copycat league. We can see some of those quick shovel passes to Tyler Warren.
21:35I love the idea of a 10 touchdown bet for somebody like Tyler Warren.
21:39And my hot take prediction, I've said on other shows that he outscores Brock Bowers.
21:44So the narrative shift is even if I'm directionally correct, I'm not entirely correct.
21:48Tyler Warren is about to absolutely eat. Who is your top tight end?
21:52Is it the cheese man? Is it Tucker craft?
21:55You have license to talk about him on the tight end show.
21:59Are you going to grant yourself license to talk about Tucker craft right now?
22:04I've said enough about Tucker craft. If you've been here for any period of time over the course of the last 365
22:11days, or you search his name on my Twitter X, I'm pretty sure I could get a restraining order placed on me
22:18for how much I've talked about Tucker craft. So I'm not going to do that today.
22:23What I'm going to do is I'm going to go a little bit off the beaten path.
22:28I'm going to go a little bit post post hype sleeper.
22:32And I'm going to go with one Dalton Kincaid Kincaid.
22:35If you've ever seen bow finger before, or is it a yeah, bow finger.
22:39That's what it is. If you've ever seen bow finger before, you know exactly what that is, but I'm going with Dalton
22:46Kincaid because we have, we have all the advanced metrics, the underlying metrics.
22:51We have a clarity of role. Andrew Cooper, the tight end guru who I aspire to be like one day when I
22:58grow up says that you have to either have the ability to generate explosive players or the ability to, or a command of the red zone.
23:06Now he's had neither one of those things, but we've been dealing with knee injuries back to back years, only 44% route participation.
23:13And that led him to 27% targets per route run on 179 yards, 179 routes run.
23:18That's, that's a, that's a poultry. That's a meager number.
23:22This is the case kind of that I laid out for Jamison Williams last year.
23:26If we go from a meager route share to, he goes to 70 to 80% of the routes.
23:32And we're not talking limited, limited Dalton Kincaid where they're having to manage an injury to keep him on the field.
23:39They spent a first round pick on this guy.
23:42They, he's very clearly been a part of their plans.
23:45And when he's got the ball, he was six in yards after yards after the catch per yards, after the catch per
23:52attempt, or however you want to say that in 2020, 2025, I think him coming into the role, I think DJ more
23:59actually helps him because it gives them a viable threat on the outside of clear.
24:04She hears a hell of a slot receiver, but Dalton Kincaid being able to line up in the slide out wide being
24:11sort of the quote unquote mismatch for this offense.
24:14I think we're in for a career year. And so in the eighth or ninth round, he's at eight 12 right now.
24:21If he slides and I'm going with a certain build and I punt on tight end, this is my guy.
24:27This is my bring home the bacon tight end in 2026 Dalton Kincaid.
24:31So give us your late round tight end here.

26:18I talked about the carry share moving around the formation.
26:21We're getting a lot of buzz from the Rams for design for Terrence Ferguson, who right now is tight in 21 at the 13 08.
26:29So you can get him late. So if you miss Tyler Warren, who absolutely it's not like Tyler Warren is the secret player out here.
26:37He could absolutely get gobbled up for you. And then you're looking at all crap.
26:42If I go all the way through to Kyle pits, whatever your cliff for elite tight end, who you think can pay off.
26:49The more you push later, the more you can talk yourself into somebody like a Terrence Ferguson at a 13 personnel last
26:56year, the Rams had 20 touchdown passes, zero interception.
26:59So that bodes well for somebody like a Matthew Stafford.
27:02And it bodes well for the tight ends who can be on the field.
27:07And part of the lottery is, can you win the tight end lottery for the Rams offense?
27:12Can you win the running back lottery who Kyron Williams has been a great beneficiary?
27:17So that's where there's some stimulus to, can I get a league winner and somebody like Blake Corum, when you'll see Blake
27:24Corum go in round eight, which is wild. So then Terrence Ferguson, the same applies.
27:29Can he win that tight end lottery? Second round draft capital.
27:32We've seen Sean McVay, Shia Pukunakua. It takes a little bit, takes a beat into maybe year two, maybe year three for some players.
27:40So we're in year two. And maybe that circle of trust starts to open up for Terrence Ferguson.
27:46I go back to Colby Parkinson, who you astutely pointed out finished very strong last year in week 14 was tight end 11.
27:53Then was tight end five Colby Parkinson with a 24 point game against the lions.
27:58Then two weeks later, he was tight end 12.
28:01Then week 18 was tight end four. So he had some usage late steam into the season, that tight end usage.
28:07So to me, if you can win directionally that tight end room and you want to take a stab, it seems like
28:14all the smoke that's coming out of LA right now is forward towards somebody like Terrence Ferguson.
28:20So if you read the tea leaves and pick up on that, the wealth that can be out there.
28:26And when you kind of surmise the fact that what if Fukunakua has some form of a suspension, any kind of injury,
28:33there's any fall off with Devante Adams, who apparently has been tearing up against the joint practices, the other teams opposing him, but it still happens.
28:41And there's not much depth that wide receiver three spot.
28:44Isn't really hot right now because they didn't come away with my Kai lemon in the draft.
28:50The Rams came away with Ty Simpson. So the cost offset to that is hopefully there's some faith in somebody like Terrence Ferguson.
28:57So I'm very excited about Ferguson. And he's somebody who in different builds, I'll go, Hey, Travis Kelsey, Jawan Johnson, and then
29:04pair it, you know, one of those two and then pair them with Ferguson.
29:09So you get an early plug and then a later play who can just go way off.
29:14So even if you don't get Terrence Ferguson as the only tight end, you want somebody else a little bit safe to start the season.
29:22You can watch him on your bench. And I think he's the perfect play to let marinate for maybe that first month.
29:29And then when he pops, it's just immense value.
29:32So Shev, what do you got next? So you, you, you mentioned my guy in your, in your build, which made me
29:39feel, which makes me feel really good. So Jawan Johnson is going nearly undrafted and there's a real chance that he's the
29:46number two in this offense to start the season with Jordan Tyson being out for the first two months.
29:52Him coming off a career high, this being one of the most high fastest pace of play teams in the NFL.
29:59So you have a guy who they re-upped last off season, I believe it was three, three years, $30 million.
30:05He's going into his age, 29 season tight ends, age like fine wine or like Halle Berry.
30:11You pick, I don't know which one's better. So Jawan Johnson, 102 targets last year, 77 receptions, I believe, or yeah, eight, 77 or 88.
30:19Let me pull it up real quick. Anyway, a lot of receptions over 800 yards, only three touchdowns though.
30:25That's the number that I want us to focus on here.
30:28So this is a guy in his first full-time role, six foot four, 231 pounds, an athletic mismatch.
30:34We've seen the, we've seen the decline in the, the inability of Alvin Kamara to stay healthy in the red zone.
30:41I think this bounces back in a major way.
30:44We could be talking six to 10 touchdowns with no Jordan Tyson in the fold for the first two months.
30:50He could get out. We look up, it's October.
30:53Jawan Johnson's first in the position in touchdowns. And this is a gross misprice for what he represents in terms of points
31:00in your lineup, if you're in a pickle. So Jawan Johnson to me is the most mispriced asset in all of the
31:07tight end landscape because he's got a path to being the number two target in the offense.
31:12He's an athletic tight end. They could generate yards after the catch.
31:16It could be an athletic mismatch. Just like I alluded to with Tucker craft before Dalton Kinkade or George Kittle, all those
31:23guys you want because they're very athletic and they, they don't just catch and fall down.
31:28They're not the Dalton Schultzes of the world. Who's going to command a ton of volume.
31:34This guy only had four less targets than Dalton Schultz last year.
31:37So you go after a guy like Jawan Johnson in the later, later rounds of your draft to pair with an upside swing like Dalton Kinkade.
31:46If you just went, if you're going to follow me and roll with me on this one, you're going to follow the drum beat.
31:53So that's why I was so bullish. And that's why I am so bullish and can't stop drafting one Dalton Kinkade or
32:00in the middle rounds, the late rounds, I guess.
32:03And Jawan Johnson in the last round of my draft.
32:07So before we get out of here, we've got to talk about field generals.
32:11We've got to talk about guys that we can't stop drafting at the quarterback position.
32:16So who is your guy that you can't stop drafting at the quarterback position?
32:20Cannot stop. Drafting Jalen hurts. It hurts so bad to say that he's grossly underrated.
32:25How could that be at this point? He goes as QB eight at the six 12.
32:30And this is somebody who fantasy wise should be in that top three range and area.
32:35But we understand with the Drake maze and the Caleb Williams, the preferences for Lamar Jackson, Jane Daniels, you can just kind
32:42of get a little bit tired of the hit that is Jalen hurts.
32:46And with Jalen hurts, you know, he's last couple of seasons go back to 2021 fancy points per game.
32:5321, 25, 21, 21, 19. So he's just a shade off of usually getting about 21, three times.
32:58He's had 21 fancy points per game. So about two points less last year.
33:03He was a QB eight fancy points per game.
33:06The rushing a second and carry share second and design runs per game last year with 3.19 second and red zone carries
33:13per game, which that includes the tush push. Then fourth and rushing touchdowns with eight.
33:17We could absolutely see that number go back up to something like 12.
33:22And we're hearing that there's more of an affinity for Jalen hurts to go back to some of that rushing game that
33:29got him so well in fancy football. There was just some murmurings out there that he was reticent to rush.
33:35And I've always contended Jalen hurts is not really a good enough quarterback to sit back and pass.
33:41He has to have that triple threat option of the RPO to keep defenses off balances because Russell Wilson, when we saw
33:48Russell Wilson fall off, if you monitor that closely, it was really when he would just want to lay back and chuck
33:55the ball and not tuck and run, get those hard yards and you get hit in the ribs so many times you
34:02kind of don't, you're disinclined to pull down the ball, but I think you got enough youth on your side.
34:08Still Jalen hurts. And he's still got that speed.
34:11He's just got to want it. And I think he does, especially we talk about and focus the AJ Brown vendetta towards the Philadelphia Eagles.
34:19One in that revenge, the dead cat bounce season for him.
34:23I don't think enough is being talked about just that, that oomph from Jalen hurts that we're going to get this year.
34:30And he's got a chip on his shoulder. And I like that.
34:34You kind of need that. Maybe you got a little bit fat right off of your success and you kind of rested
34:41on the laurels a little bit, maybe just a little bit.
34:44Only Jalen hurts knows that. I think he comes out with chip on his shoulder and we see more of that proactive earlier in the play.
34:52You have to decide to tuck the ball and run, keep that defense off balance.
34:57If he sits back and decides to rush too late, it is too late.
35:02He is not Lamar Jackson. So between the twenties, I need to see a more proactive Jalen hurts.
35:07I think we get that this year. You reloaded.
35:10I know Eli Stowers is struggling, but you reloaded with Makai lemon and Devonta Smith is no slouch.
35:16Just check his hyphen season. And then his rookie season.
35:19Now it's just his turn. Kind of like Jalen waddle.
35:22So Shev minus Jalen hurts. Who's your guy early at quarterback that you can't stop drafting.
35:28Oh, baby. So I'm going to go with one glock Tavius, the hunt for red glock, October one Brock Purdy.
35:34So Brock Purdy was fifth in fantasy points per game last year and eight starts.
35:39He did. He did miss eight games with, he did miss eight games with hammer toe, Roberto, whatever you want to call it.
35:46So we didn't get the fully actualized version of Brock Purdy, but we do have proof of concept.
35:52He finishes QB six in 2024, I believe coming off that elbow injury.
35:56And this is no longer Mr. Irrelevant. This is no longer the fun fairy tale story.
36:01This is a stone cold operator. If you recall last year during the fantasy playoffs, he led people to the promised land
36:08and he delivered once he was a full-time starter again.
36:11Now what they've done is gone out and they signed Mike Evans, hall of fame, Mike Evans.
36:17They drafted Deshaun Stribling. You've got George Kittle on the men, but Jake Ton just waiting in the wings is no slouch.
36:24And he performed while, while Mr. Mr. Kittle was on the men.
36:28So there's an environment that's set up perfectly for success for one glock Tavius Purdy.
36:32And so this is a guy that I can't stop drafting because he's so mispriced.
36:37I looked up, I was surprised to see that he's in the sixth round of the FFD redraft ADP because I thought,
36:44you know, in a lot of the fast drafts, I've been able to get him in like the 10th round, the ninth
36:51round, the 10th round, sometimes even the 11th round.
36:54He's the forgotten man because it's not sexy. But once the games start happening, I feel like there's an element of Jared
37:01golf to him where people just don't realize that he's consistently it's death by a thousand paper cuts.
37:07It's not going to be loud. Like a Josh Allen, it's not going to be loud.
37:12Like Baker Mayfield's breakout season or Joe burrow, whenever he's fully healthy or Dak Prescott, it's just a guy that just generates
37:19fantasy points over and over and over again. So he's going to give you another two 50 to 300 yards rushing in
37:26two to three scores comes out to about three points a game over the course of a season, but that's not nothing.
37:33You'd rather have those three points to need those three points.
37:37Would you not? So for me, it's glock Tavius party.
37:40Let me know who your late round quarterback is before we get out of here.
37:45Guy, it's going to be dark Jackson, dark QB 14 at the eight 11.
37:49And I think the bearish sentiment really is the fact that Kenny stay on the field.
37:54And he absolutely got blown up when Tyrone Tracy missed that blitz pickup.
37:58Very tough scene there. And he laid on the floor to the ground and Hey, why am I in the blue medical tent?
38:06And it could end up being a running narrative of a career that doesn't take off, but I'm willing to risk it, especially at a QB 14 price.
38:15Somebody like Dart who has a rushing upside and he can cook with his arm.
38:20And I spoke earlier to where Malik neighbors, not having Malik neighbors, we didn't, we were robbed of that joy.
38:26And we were robbed really to me of year two with Brian Dayball and this whole bunch.
38:31I really wish that could have happened. You have astutely pointed out that Matt Nagy is just rough.
38:37That is objectively true. But when we think about the talent that is around Jackson Dart, you have Cam Skadabo and he's
38:44just a battering ram, good support there for Jackson Dart, the RPL threat that he has.
38:49And then to be able to have targets in Malik high fields, Malik neighbors who can probably play up to Jamar Chase's level.
38:57And then you have Isaiah likely who we love and Theo Johnson.
39:00Just the targets are there everywhere for the giants and don't sleep on somebody like a layered play in Darnell Mooney.
39:07I really liked this giants offense a whole lot.
39:10I think the main challenge though, will be the twenties to the twenties getting into the red zone and the green zone.
39:17I don't see how you stop this offense. The main conundrum that's out there justifiably is how do you get to the 20 yard line?
39:25But something just doesn't sit right with me to fade somebody like Dart, who he's got, it was week six and seven
39:32last year against the Eagles and the Denver Broncos, the Broncos man, QB three both weeks.
39:37He just crushes. And he was QB seven, a couple of weeks later against Casey's 49ers.
39:42And he was QB three again against the bears in week 10.
39:46So we're talking about a guy who if QB four finished against the Raiders in week 17, when he finishes as a
39:53QB one, this is like on the top half of QB one land.
39:57And it was dog water set up last year for Jackson Dart.
40:01And now we're getting a little bit more supporting talent.
40:04I think he's being slept on to a degree because I think we had a phase early.
40:10It's like moon phases where early on people were waxing for somebody like Jackson Dart.
40:15And then they said, Oh, you know what? He's a little bit too expensive.
40:19We're going to just kind of put them back down here.
40:23And now he's appropriately priced to me at a huge value.
40:26That's why I cannot stop drafting Jackson Dart QB 14.
40:29Ooh. We. Okay. All right. Okay. Okay. I like it.
40:33I like it because of the, I like it because of the utility, the, the, the rushing utility that he has nine
40:40rushing touchdowns last year, almost 500 yards rushing in 14 games.
40:43And that feels like that gives him an insulated floor plus the return of Malik neighbors.
40:48But I'm going to pivot here. I'm going to go to, I'm going to go back to the NFC West and I'm
40:55going to go with Matthew Stafford as my late round selection at quarterback.
40:59So currently QB 19 in our consensus rankings and just nearly undrafted in the crowdsourced in the crowdsourced rankings.
41:05And I can't make this make sense. This is a guy who threw 40 touchdowns last year.
41:11It's, it's literally the run out from late in Aaron Rogers career where he was winning the NBA.
41:17He's throwing 48 touchdowns and five interceptions and 37 touchdowns and four interceptions.
41:21And he's tied to a genius level play caller.
41:24The guy who sets the trends in the NFL.
41:27He's the reason that 22 tight ends were drafted this past, this past April.
41:31He's tied to Sean McVay. He's got one of the best red zone receivers of all time.
41:36He's got arguably the best receiver in the game right now in Pukinokua.
41:41He's got an incredible running game with a two headed monster with Blake Corum and Kyron Williams.
41:46And so there's no reason for him to be priced at QB 19.
41:50I can't get past the fact that we have right now.
41:54We have guys like Jordan love ahead of him.
41:57I, I understand the sentiment with having the Baker Mayfields and the Tyler Shucks slightly ahead, but I don't agree with it
42:04because if he is healthy, he needed a backy out of me last year.
42:08We all forget that. We all forget that he needed a backy out of me and it was potential that he wasn't going to play.
42:16And they were prepping Jimmy Garoppolo. And all of a sudden he comes out of nowhere.
42:21And all of a sudden it's like, Hey, I'm the MVP.
42:25I'm Matthew MF Stafford. They were a game away from the Superbowl, two muffed punts away, if you will.
42:31And so now I think they're going to come back and be hungry to finish the job.
42:36They go and get miles Garrett. This is a team that isn't going to just sit on a lead.
42:42They're going to try to bury you, finish you into the dirt to borrow an old colloquialism from one Quentin Nelson from back in the day.
42:51So Matthew Stafford to me is a lot to go over 4,000 yards, throw at least 35 touchdowns.
42:56And this is an offense that throws the ball in the red zone at one of the highest clips in the entire NFL.
43:04So Matthew Stafford, my late round selection. So we've just gone over two running backs, two receivers, two tight ends, two quarterbacks, early, middle, late.
43:12We covered it all. Jeremiah, is there anything that you want to leave with the people before we get out of here?
43:19Well, as you're talking about Matthew Stafford, I think a lot of that is going to be because breakout Terrence Ferguson.
43:25So it all comes together, Shev. And early, middle, late.
43:29Just understand, as we're talking about these players that we can't stop drafting, when somebody snipes you, just know that there's other pivots to make.
43:37So we gave you early options and late options at each position.
43:40So if your Tyler Warren gets taken, go get a Terrence Ferguson.
43:44Or, as Shev was talking about, Juwan Johnson, you have options out there.
43:48Go utilize them. Don't sweat. By this point, that baseball should be looking like a beach ball on a tee because you have been getting all these reps.
43:57We've been together through the dynasty journey, the rookie journey, some of the best ball streets.
44:03And now redraft. We are here. We are ready.
44:05You know these players. You can do it. Oh, that's so sweet of you to give everybody the pump up.
44:12Now, I don't have much to say. I just want to say, hey, look, we're coming up on the season.
44:18We've had to filter and wade through all of the weird takes that happen when football is not being played.
44:25I no longer know what to do with my hands.
44:28If I had Jeremiah's hands, I'd smack my ass and cut my hands off.
