Bijan Robinson is ranked as the RB2 for the week, with a favorable matchup against Carolina.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection20:25

Bo Nix is ranked 12th in the current quarterback rankings.

NegativeBust28:47

Jay is very bearish on Carnell Tate against the Eagles, citing the team's ability to stifle opposing receivers.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeUsage4:20

Chris Olave's usage will be monitored, as he may see more primary looks against the Baltimore Ravens.

Insight page
PositiveValue24:12

Matt Kelley advises against trading Chris Olave, noting he is trending toward 'must-start' territory as a potential top-five wide receiver and should be kept despite trade inquiries.

Insight page
NegativeProjection84:05

Matt Kelley ranks Chris Olave as his WR12, lower than the PlayerProfiler consensus of WR2. Kelley cites the difficulty of the matchup against the Baltimore Ravens defense and potential game flow shifts toward Derrick Henry.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeBust3:27

Colson Loveland was a source of pain for fantasy managers in Week 1 after failing to produce as expected.

Insight page
PositiveProjection90:57

Matt Kelley ranks Colston Loveland as his TE2, matching the PlayerProfiler consensus. Kelley is bullish on his bounce-back potential against the Minnesota Vikings and advises against fading him due to recent performance.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue68:02

Matt Kelley ranks DJ Moore as his WR9, preferring him over Parker Washington this week because Moore has an easier path and more predictable game flow.

Insight page
PositiveValue77:20

Matt Kelley ranks DJ Moore as his WR9, significantly higher than the PlayerProfiler consensus of WR19. Kelley cites the high over-under total in the Lions-Bears game and expects a high-scoring affair, noting that Moore was phenomenal last week despite a tough matchup.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

PositiveValue9:55

Pete Nova ranks Dak Prescott third overall, significantly higher than the Player Profiler consensus of ninth, citing a high-scoring game environment against Washington.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveProjection38:18

Jay ranks Dalton Kincaid as his TE3, citing positive underlying metrics and a high game-total expectancy (54.5 points) for the Bills offense.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveProjection22:09

Matt Kelley and Jay view Dalton Schultz as a safe, high-floor option who will receive consistent 'pepper targets' and is projected to safely deliver a '15 burger' for fantasy managers.

Insight page
NegativeUsage36:49

Dalton Schultz is a viable alternative to Kyle Pitts, with expectations for increased targets in the absence of Nico Collins.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeProjection28:12

Jay ranks Devon Achane as RB15, significantly lower than consensus, citing a tough schedule and lower Vegas implied totals as reasons to be cautious.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeBust15:06

Both analysts are fading Drake Maye, ranking him well below the Player Profiler consensus of seventh, expecting a slow, run-heavy game script against the Steelers.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeRole173:54

Matt Kelley ranks George Kittle as his TE11, noting the frustration of his usage as a blocker in the 49ers' offense. Kelley acknowledges Kittle's high fantasy points per game potential but warns of 'clear-out' games where he is not involved.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

NegativeProjection22:13

Matt Kelley describes Hunter Henry as a safe, low-upside play who likely has the best touchdown probability among the tight end options discussed.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveProjection67:25

Matt Kelley ranks Isaiah Likely as his TE8, just behind Sam LaPorta. He highlights the appeal of flexing tight ends who have emerged in the current tight end renaissance.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

PositiveUsage81:57

Matt Kelley views Jadarian Price as a 'whack-a-mole' player who must be kept in lineups despite inconsistent production. Kelley expects a bounce-back performance with touchdown upside, ranking him as an RB2.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveProjection25:36

Jahmyr Gibbs is ranked as the RB1 for the week by Jay, benefiting from a favorable matchup against Buffalo.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection29:58

James Cook is a recommended start and a pick for a touchdown in the Thursday night game.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveBreakout78:52

Matt Kelley ranks Jameson Williams as his WR16, viewing him as a high-upside WR3. Kelley is betting on touchdown regression and suggests pairing him with James Cook in DFS lineups as a volatile but high-ceiling play.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection22:15

Pete Nova ranks Jared Goff 8th, citing a high-scoring game environment, despite Player Profiler's consensus ranking of 22nd.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeBust3:45

Jalen Waddle's Week 1 performance was disappointing for fantasy managers, though there is no need to panic given the team's investment.

Insight page
NegativeValue35:18

Matt Kelley advises against dropping Jaylen Waddle for Christian Watson in smaller leagues, suggesting that managers should look to drop a kicker or a backup quarterback instead to maintain roster depth.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeProjection20:28

Jordan Love is ranked 13th in the current quarterback rankings.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveProjection8:17

Josh Allen is ranked as the number one quarterback for Week 2 against the Lions, following a strong call on him last week.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

NegativeValue66:06

Matt Kelley is bearish on Juwan Johnson compared to the PlayerProfiler rankings, noting that a top-10 ranking is way too high. Pete agrees, having dropped him to TE10-11 due to the potential for a negative game script.

Insight page
NegativeProjection175:47

Matt Kelley ranks Juwan Johnson as his TE10, significantly lower than the PlayerProfiler consensus of TE3. Kelley is bearish on Johnson, noting that his production came late in the previous game and he expects the Ravens' defense to control the clock.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveProjection21:57

Matt Kelley and Jay agree that Kyle Pitts remains a strong start despite a tough Week 1, citing his high-upside potential to deliver a '30 burger' in a game against the Panthers that is expected to shoot out.

Insight page
PositiveProjection36:37

Despite a tough Week 1, Kyle Pitts remains a preferred start over other tight end options like Dalton Schultz or Hunter Henry.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveValue25:04

Matt Kelley is open to trading Emeka Egbuka for Kyren Williams if a manager is in need of running back depth, viewing it as a reasonable move.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

NegativeInjury44:07

Jay advises fantasy managers to put their 'antennas up' regarding Ladd McConkey, who has missed two consecutive practices.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveProjection13:17

Jay ranks Lamar Jackson second overall, noting that he expects him to perform well regardless of Zay Flowers' status, though the team might lean on the run if Flowers is out.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeBust3:27

Luther Burden did not perform as expected in Week 1, leading to a disappointing result for fantasy managers.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeProjection69:06

Matt Kelley ranks Malik Nabers as his WR10, while Pete ranks him at WR14. Both acknowledge his high-end talent, but Pete expects a more middling game against the Rams due to the current team defense.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveProjection39:27

Matt Kelley is talking himself into starting Mark Andrews over Dalton Kincaid, noting Andrews' high target share (24%) and the potential for increased volume due to other receiver injuries.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

PositiveUsage33:27

Marshawn Lloyd is a recommended start over Hutchinson due to expected volume and potential for a touchdown via the passing game.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeInjury43:32

Jay warns that Nico Collins should be crossed out as the WR3 due to a reported hamstring injury suffered in practice.

Insight page

Noah Fant

NegativeUsage66:54

Pete notes that Noah Fant was decently involved in the offense last week and is monitoring his usage moving forward.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue67:48

Matt Kelley acknowledges Parker Washington has 'dog rating' and should be ranked higher than his current 18th spot, though he ultimately prefers DJ Moore for this week's matchup.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

NegativeProjection20:29

Patrick Mahomes is ranked 14th in the current quarterback rankings for his matchup against the Colts.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

NegativeBust70:06

Matt Kelley names Quentin Johnston his 'dog of the week' (in a negative sense), expressing low confidence in his output and suggesting fantasy managers will be disappointed.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeProjection32:50

Jay is bearish on Quinshon Judkins, ranking him 26th compared to Player Profiler's 18th, citing a 'god awful' Week 1 performance and a difficult matchup against a stout Tampa Bay run defense.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveBreakout30:16

Jay likes Rashod Bateman's upside this week, especially if Zay Flowers is out, viewing it as a blow-up opportunity.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveProjection31:17

Matt Kelley ranks Rhamondre Stevenson as RB17, expecting him to receive a heavy workload in a grind-it-out game against the Steelers.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveValue30:35

Jay is prone to starting Romeo Doubs, believing he is better than his Week 1 performance and represents a good value play.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveProjection67:25

Matt Kelley ranks Sam LaPorta as his TE7, placing him just ahead of Isaiah Likely (TE8). He suggests that in the current tight end renaissance, starting both players if you have them is a viable strategy.

Insight page
PositiveValue99:01

Matt Kelley ranks Sam LaPorta as his TE7, significantly higher than the PlayerProfiler consensus of TE13. Kelley is chasing the high-scoring potential of the Lions-Bills game.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveProjection32:12

Jay is very high on Saquon Barkley, ranking him 7th overall and expecting him to 'crush' the Tennessee Titans in a game where the offense funnels through him.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveBreakout70:48

Pete names Terry McLaurin his 'dog of the week' (in a positive sense), ranking him WR7. He expects a massive bounce-back game against the Dallas Cowboys, citing McLaurin's historical success against them and the potential for a shootout.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveUsage93:24

Matt Kelley ranks Tucker Kraft as his TE4, matching the PlayerProfiler consensus. Kelley is very high on Kraft, noting that his usage suggests more production left on the table and expects him to exploit the Jets' linebackers.

1:09Week 2 is finally here. It is Thursday. We've got Thursday Night Football, Detroit Lions, and the Buffalo Bills.
1:16It is Coach. It is Pete Nova here with Player Profiler.
1:19We got all our rankings right here on First Class Fantasy.
1:23What is going on, folks? Thank you guys so much for joining us.
1:27While you are here, if you guys do enjoy the content, make sure you hit that thumbs up.
1:34Make sure you subscribe. If you don't like the content, let us know why.
1:38Let us know what we could be doing better.
1:41Jeremiah, we had a good week last week. We're looking to kind of carry that momentum into week number two.
1:48Jamie is in the house. Jay, before we get into the rankings, is there anything that you took away from week one,
1:55fantasy-related, NFL-related, that you feel like, hey, my mind changed on this, or hey, I'm not overreacting to this, or just any takeaway from week one?
2:04Can you give me one of them? Well, it's funny.
2:07With all the touchdowns that were scored last week, Pete, two things stand out to me, and they're players who were bearish,
2:15and no pun intended, with the Chicago Bears. Luther Burden, Colson Loveland did not hit like we wanted.
2:21It was very sore and painful for people who had Colson Loveland.
2:25It was also sore for Denver Broncos' Jalen Waddell.
2:28And when I look at the investment that both teams have and all the players collectively, I'm not panicking.
2:34And it's very easy to be panicking when, my God, how many touchdowns were there on the slate?
2:40Scott Hanson was just busy all Sunday afternoon, and you sit there and think, man, I'm missing out.
2:46But don't panic, and keep starting your studs. Keep and be mindful.
2:50Like a player that comes to mind, Caleb Douglas, I like him, but I don't trust him this week versus the 49ers.
2:58I don't trust Devon Vele, per se. Granted, we'll monitor Chris Olave.
3:02He may get more of the one looks. But against the Baltimore Ravens, it's going to be a little bit different than somebody like the Detroit Lions.
3:11So, Pete, we'll talk tonight, some Lions and some Bills, and of course, some rankings.
3:16What about some takeaways for you? Anything that comes to mind that's kind of been marinating for you?
3:22Yeah, this was a rough first week for a lot of first-time play callers, right?
3:27Obviously, Davis Webb, the Broncos just looked super disjointed.
3:30David Blau, as well, with the Washington Commanders. I mean, you're going up against Vic Fangio, a guy that was a coordinator
3:37before David Blau was even in diapers. He was a coordinator in the NFL.
3:42You had Christian Parker, Cowboys defensive coordinator, first-time DC.
3:45Their defense looked bad, and I thought they'd be improved this year.
3:49So, there was just a lot of newness and a lot of just kind of working out kinks.
3:55We'll see if guys get better. It's a long season, and we don't want to overreact.
4:00We're going to go quarterback rankings, I believe, first, Jay.
4:04I do want to note, we do have some questions in the chat.
4:08After each position, we will answer a couple of questions in the chat.
4:12So, stick with us here, and yeah, we're going to make this a fun show.
4:17So, Jay, why don't you go ahead and read off the quarterbacks for the audience?
4:22And as we scroll through these and you get rapid reactions, folks, audience, just know, Pete Nova here was number one ranker for Fantasy Pros.
4:31He came out on top. So, it's very much a pleasure to be side-by-side with Pete here.
4:37So, hat tip, keep, bear that in mind as we're talking about all this stuff.
4:42If you're like, hey, hold your horses here, Pete.
4:45Hold your horses here, Pete. Maybe you understand that there's a lot of method to the madness, and I've been able to get a front row seat.
4:54So, shout out to you, bud. Number one, Josh Allen.
4:57And you were high on him last week, Pete.
5:00You stayed against the masses, Houston Texans. Great call there.
5:03He's number one for us this week against the Lions.
5:07We'll see it tonight. 54.5 over under. Brock Purdy.
5:10We'll come back to him. Number two. Gets a soft Miami matchup.
5:14Caleb Williams, three. Herbert, four. Lamar Jackson, five. Six through ten.
5:17Jaden Daniels gets Dallas. Drake May. Jalen Hurts. Dak Prescott.
5:21Baker Mayfield. And then, rounding out the top 12, Jackson Dart.
5:25Bo Nix. We'll go Jordan Love, Patrick Mahomes, Tyler Shuck to round out the top 15.
5:30We can go into some of the other QB2s in a bit.
5:34But, Pete, anything out of the top 12 ranks?
5:37I think that jumps out at you where you're maybe a little bit different, maybe a little bit of the same based
5:44on our player profiler ranks and some of what you've got individually.
5:48Yeah. Looking here, Dak Prescott, for me, is the biggest difference I have, or one of them at least.
5:55Him and Jalen Hurts, actually. Dak Prescott, I have ranked number three.
5:59We have Dak here in the player profile rankings at number nine.
6:03Again, a lot of the player profile rankings, it comes down to upside, right, and expected fantasy points.
6:09And when you have quarterbacks that can run, they're always going to be ranked higher in good matchups.
6:15And so, that's why Dak doesn't have those legs.
6:18And so, he's got to make up more, Jay, with the passing yards.
6:22But, in a matchup versus Washington, Jay, I think that's going to be a very high-scoring game.
6:28I'm not very impressed with both defenses. It's a 50.5 point total on the week.
6:33If you're not using Vegas, at least, to provide baselines for projecting guys, you're missing out.
6:38I'm not going to sit here and say that Vegas is the end-all, be-all.
6:43But, you know, they set lines for a reason.
6:46They're not in the business of losing money. So, I'm high on this game here, Jay.
6:51It's Dak Prescott for me. I'm going to own him probably in a lot of DFS this week as well.
6:58I love that take. I have Dak and Jaden Daniels back-to-back, five and six for me.
7:03And it's just to that upside of that game, I think it's going to be a tremendous shootout opportunity there.
7:10Brock Purdy, though, I understand the bullishness. Player Profiler, we have him second overall against Miami.
7:15My contention is Brock Purdy. I have him all the way down at nine, so that's like a big divergence.
7:22To me, I don't think we're going to get the press-back pushback on the Miami Dolphins side.
7:28It reminds me a little bit, Pete, of Trevor Lawrence, Parker Washington last week.
7:33We didn't get a lot of run back from the Cleveland Browns.
7:37And you think the Bears did damage last week.
7:40We just didn't see the onslaught that the Jaguars could have continued with last week as well.
7:45And I think we're going to have to park the bus a little bit.
7:50And that's why I think there's cap ceiling. You mentioned ceiling.
7:54I think there's cap ceiling for somebody like Brock Purdy.
7:57And the Player Profiler ranks has Lamar Jackson fifth.
8:00I've got him number two. If Jared Goff just crushed like he did against the Saints last week, I don't see how
8:07Lamar coming back home after what they did. Plenty of confidence boost.
8:11Just continue. And I understand, say, Flowers, Jacoby Lane out.
8:15It looks like I'm not off Lamar Jackson. I think he's going to cook either way.
8:20And I think that's more of an indictment on New Orleans.
8:24But it is a testament to the talent that Lamar Jackson has.
8:28Any other takes or outlooks from? Yeah, I got I got piggyback off you.
8:33And then and then I have a fade. And then we can, you know, we can read off for the audio side who we have ranked here.
8:42So we'll go over the Player Profiler rankings for the audio side.
8:46Lamar Jackson, I have him at six. I if Zay Flowers is in and then then it changes things a little bit for me.
8:54If he's out, you know, I think it's it could be a heavy run game, you know, and they might want to protect him.
9:02So that was kind of my thoughts there. We'll monitor the injury reports.
9:06Drake May is the probably the biggest difference in terms of fades for me.
9:11This is two weeks in a row fading Drake May.
9:14I think I had him at 18 last week.
9:17No A.J. Brown, obviously a hostile environment last week.
9:20They get to come back home and play against Pittsburgh.
9:24I have Drake May ranked 17. Drake May is ranked number seven in Player Profiler rankings.
9:29The connection with Rome, Romeo Dobbs and May just doesn't feel like it's strong enough.
9:34I feel like it's a heavy run game script here.
9:37Steelers defense looked really good last week. Of course, Jay, you know, it's against a team with starting Cooper Rush.
9:44So there has that has to obviously have an asterisk next to it.
9:48But I'm not super high on Drake May this week.
9:52I think it's a very slow game. It's a slog of a game.
9:56And it's a forty one point five over under.
9:59So, like, I think pressure they're going to come after a lot.
10:03I think T.J. Watt looked good last week. And I think he matches up pretty well against their left tackle and Campbell.
10:10So and I wasn't impressed Morgan Moses last week either.
10:14Now, again, it was Seattle. But that's kind of my thoughts there.
10:18The implied point total is twenty three point three.
10:21If I'm thinking it's a heavy run script, I think at most may probably throws two touchdowns.
10:27And that to me, unless he's getting a lot of rushing yards, that's not going to that's not going to do it.
10:34I don't know if there's enough meat on the bone there for May.
10:38Any thoughts on that? And if not, why don't you go ahead and read off the rankings for the audio side and then we'll get to some questions.
10:48Yeah, Drake May. I have him faded. Like you were saying, I'm looking at the list and I'm like, hey, which one really stands out?
10:56For me, it's as well. Drake May. Drake May is ranked seventh in the player profile of the ranks.
11:02I have him 14. And I had that in mind.
11:06It's like, what is the run back from the Pittsburgh side?
11:09I see Aaron Rodgers milking a lot of clock.
11:12And to your point, it may be a ceiling play where, hey, two touchdown passes for Drake May.
11:19He's not really hitting your top 12 like you would like.
11:22So I agree with your bearishness on Drake May.
11:25It's a five and a half point spread. It'll be a matter of can you return home after that down week against the Seahawks?
11:33I see it being more of a remandere and a defensive led game for the Patriots.
11:39And game flow is going to dictate. It could end up being close.
11:43But again, that back and forth nature of what you need to hit in these higher lineups, especially when we talked to
11:50earlier, Pete, the commanders and the Cowboys. It's Dak Prescott, Jaden Daniels.
11:54It just doesn't add up getting that back and forth.
11:58And you mentioned the lower over under total, which is not the end all be all, but it's very much a guide.
12:05And I think we are predicting game flow. Game flow is a huge part of some of these rankings.
12:11So I'm right there bearish with you. Do you want me to read the top 12 of the QBs once more?
12:19If you read the top 12, that's fine. Why don't you read the rest from Bo Nix down?
12:25Yep. And we'll go all the way through our QB twos.
12:28It's Bo Nix at 12, Jordan Love at 13, Patrick Mahomes 14 against the Indianapolis Colts.
12:34We saw what Lamar did last week. Goes back home for them.
12:38Tyler Shuck, CJ Stroud at 16, Matthew Stafford 17.
12:41It'll be curious. I wonder if Jackson Dart can run it back against them.
12:45I have Dart as somewhat of a fade as QB 15.
12:49He should be able to hit on the ground, but we'll see there.
12:53Joe Burrow, 18, very low in our player profiler ranks.
12:5719, Bryce Young. I'm actually very bullish on Bryce Young.
13:00I have him as a top 10 play. 10 overall.
13:03I think that game can shoot out. Trevor Lawrence at 20.
13:07Game flow, Denver Broncos. Malik Willis, 21. Jared Goff, 22.
13:10Jacoby Brissett back end QB 2. And funny enough, in the event that it's not Kyler Murray, Carson Wentz against that shredded defense of the Chicago Bears.
13:20Great play. Great opportunity. Funny enough, that lines up with my 24 rank.
13:24I've got Carson Wentz back in QB 2. So any last bit on that, Pete, before we go to running backs?
13:31I did want to mention one thing. I didn't realize until now.
13:35Jared Goff sticks out to me. Again, this goes back to the rushing upside being a little bit limited.
13:41But I'm thinking a lot of points in this game.
13:45CJ Stroud actually looked pretty decent last week, I thought, against his Buffalo pass defense.
13:50I have Jared Goff ranked at number 8. I know player profiler rankings have him at 22.
13:55I have Goff just ahead of Jackson Dardom behind Caleb Williams.
13:59Hey, it's funny you say that because I have him ranked 7th.
14:03So I'm glad you mentioned Jared Goff. I love that shootout.
14:07I think a lot of it is carrying the shootout, right?
14:11Yeah, I think people are a little worried about the offensive line.
14:15They're missing a couple players. But I was reading something that talked about, I think one of the guys that is out
14:22was in a pretty long competition in camp and he won.
14:26So the guy that's slotting in played well enough in camp to make it a tough decision.
14:31And then Miller's obviously a rookie. And then I think the third guy that's slotting in has a lot of starts under his belt.
14:39So, yeah, I'm not worried about Jared Goff tonight.
14:42But let's move over to running back rankings. Before we do so, we're going to take some questions in the chat, Jay.
14:50So hold off. We'll go back to the chat.
14:53We'll answer some questions. We're going to take one quick pause, one break.

16:45All right, folks, we are back here. Quick break, and we're back to it.
16:50We got a couple questions in the chat here, Jay, so we'll try to answer these, you know, a decent amount of
16:57them before we get to the next rankings for running backs.
17:01Jason's been waiting a long time. He said, start two, Jay.
17:04Carnell Tate, Rashad Bateman, Khalil Shakir is already starting.
17:08James Cook, Romeo Dobbs or Pop Douglas, or Kayshaun Boutte.
17:11I actually have Pop Douglas decently ranked this week.
17:14This is a really, really rough group of guys to start here, Jay.
17:18I'm going to let you take this one first while I take a peek at my rankings because no one really sticks out to me like that.
17:27I'm excited to start here. Yeah, if you got to take two of these, I'm very bearish on Carnell Tate versus Philadelphia Eagles.
17:35If they were able to clamp somebody like Terry McLaurin and stifle to a degree Jane Daniels, do we think it's going
17:42to get any better for Cam Ward and Carnell Tate?
17:46I don't think so. And there are smoke them if you got them defense that I recommended the Philadelphia Eagles.
17:52We attack the Tennessee Titans until further notice. I noticed you had mentioned, Jason, you're already starting Cook.
17:58I imagine that's James Cook tonight. He is my pick play for a touchdown tonight.
18:03So good play for that in the Roto-Wire contest that's out there.
18:08It's like a survivor pool. So what you have this 54 and a half over under, I can see the appeal PPR for Shakir.
18:16But I actually like Bateman. We spoke to how high I am on Lamar Jackson this week.
18:21In the event that it looks like, say, Flowers is going to be out.
18:26No lane is going to be out. It's depleted.
18:29This is a great blow-up opportunity. So what time but the present, if not now when, for Bateman.
18:35And I'm actually prone to going after somebody like a Romeo Dobbs because I think he's better than what he put out week one.
18:43There's a sour taste in people's mouths. In the event that he got cut, I would say he was a great pickup.
18:50And I'm actually prone to some Romeo Dobbs. I go back.
18:54This is kind of like a lighter version of the Jalen Waddle play where, hey, there's a big investment.
19:00And one week's not going to be the end-all be-all.
19:04And especially, it's going to be a less tight defense against the Steelers, even though it's a low over under total.
19:11So give me Romeo Dobbs. And I'm actually thinking of the Bateman upside.
19:15I would love to pick Carnell Tate. But my God, Philadelphia's defense, it could really be Clamp City.
19:21So I'm going Dobbs and Bateman. Okay. Yeah, I'm with you.
19:25I'm not starting Tate in my lineup. I think I actually have him the lowest ranked here of all these guys.
19:32I would go with Romeo Dobbs as well. Yeah, I would go with Romeo Dobbs as well.
19:38And I would go with Bateman if what's-his-face is out.
19:41Now, what I would say is I would start Keishon Boutte over Romeo Dobbs if what's-his-face is out, if Niko's out, which it seems like it.
19:50So luckily, you don't have to make that decision.
19:53You'll know that information once Sunday starts. Because Shakir is not one of the guys that we talked about here, that is
20:00not going to be a guy that we're starting.
20:03So let's see. What do we got? Hutchinson, if Niko starts, sits.
20:07Or Marshawn Lloyd, Jay. Yeah, I'm probably going to roll the dice with Marshawn Lloyd here.
20:13A little worried about how he looked last week, but the volume was there.
20:17Volume is key for running backs. So I'll start Marshawn Lloyd over Hutchinson.
20:22Yeah, give me Marshawn Lloyd. Just another opportunity. And what we're looking for, Marshawn Lloyd, is a path to 10 points.
20:29One or two plays. He's a lighter, degraded version of, diluted version of somebody like a Travion Henderson from a play style
20:36where Travion Henderson only has to hit on a number of snaps.
20:40And he can get the nut that he needs on just a few handful of plays.
20:45Marshawn Lloyd is a lot like that. I think he's less talented and, of course, less durable.
20:51Ironically, Henderson is coming back from an injury. But I would go Lloyd one more week.
20:56I think you can get a touchdown connection via the pass game.
21:00And there's your 10 to 13 points. And you may end up getting a couple more sprinkled dump offs.
21:07Not a long-term play in Marshawn Lloyd or Hutchinson either.
21:10But, again, this first game in without Nico Collins, I would expect more pepper targets to Dalton Schultz.
21:16And I would expect what we saw last week, what we called all offseason Pete, David Montgomery.
21:22They invested in David Montgomery for a big reason to pair with this defense to mitigate Joe Burrow and the Bengals.
21:29It's going to run through. And I really don't see, to win these games, these shootouts we saw last week, to put it on C.J.
21:37Strauss' shoulders, it ends up being a losing game proposition at many points.
21:42So I think we're going to see the mitigation limit there.
21:45So give me Marshawn Lloyd. Okay. Beautiful. Jason said start Kyle Pitts with Cooper Rush.
21:50Dalton Schultz with no Nico. Hunter Henry with no Brown.
21:54Or TJ, second favorite target, TJ. TJ. Hawkinson. Hawkinson.
21:57But Jennings didn't get used. Yeah. I had to re-look at my Kyle Pitts ranking this week.
22:03I think it's still Pitts here. It's a tough week last week, but I'm still going to ride Pitts.
22:09If you don't want to go Pitts, it's Dalton Schultz for me.
22:13Hunter Henry feels like the safe low upside, but probably has the best chance here to score a touchdown out of all these guys.
22:21So that's kind of my feel there. Jay, what are your thoughts?
22:25Yeah, I go with Kyle Pitts. The pepper targets will be there for Schultz, but at the same time, I have in
22:32the defenses and kicker show streaming, the Panthers as a desperation play.
22:36We're talking they're less than 2% rostered on defenses for good reason.
22:40This is a desperation start. If everybody and their mother has the Texans or Rams and the Broncos on you and you
22:48got nobody, well, that's an appealing play against the quarterback room of the Falcons.
22:52But there's something that I believe and I see too much imprinted.
22:56And this goes for Ted O'Rourke McMillan, goes for Drake London.
23:00The ability of these Panthers and Falcons games to shoot out.
23:04So I'm going to keep going to that. That Pitts upside.
23:08The guy who can get me a 30 burger is Kyle Pitts.
23:12The guy who can get me a 15 burger who I think will do it safely is Dalton Schultz.
23:18So again, simplified Pitts, then Schultz. Yeah, crazy enough that the Atlanta Carolina game has a higher total than the Patriots game.
23:25So when we talk about just like the points and the implied points, like the Patriots Steelers game, again, not a very high point total.
23:34This one's easy. KJ Frederick, what's up, man? Said, should I pit off Judkins and play Devin Singletary instead?
23:40Starting Henry lost Mason full PPR. We don't have to spend too much time there.
23:45You drafted Judkins high. I know it wasn't good last week.
23:49It might not be good this week, but the volume is very important.
23:53Singletary, who knows? It could be Singletary last week and it could be Najee Harris gets activated this week and it's now Najee Harris is the number two.
24:03Who knows? We'll grab one more question here and then we'll go ahead to the running back rankings.
24:09It's from Lombardo. He said, trade away Chris Olave for Javante Williams or Egbuka for Kyron Williams.
24:14My running backs are back up to Scat, Emma Johnson.
24:18My wide receivers are Puka, Emeka, Olave. Okay. This one's a little confusing here.
24:22I think I follow it. The room is Puka, Emeka, Olave and it's Scat, Emmett Johnson and Kyron.
24:28I don't know. He looks like he lacks running back depth.
24:32I wouldn't give away Chris Olave here just for the fact that he's kind of having this arc run of what he did last week.
24:40I think you get so much more. And if Chris Olave is really entering that must start territory where he's a top
24:48five wide receiver, you're not trading him away actively.
24:51I would just say keep playing the waiver wire for these depth upside backup running backs.
24:56I imagine this isn't the full roster of what you have, but from the information we have, I would keep Chris Olave.
25:04Yeah, I'm totally I'm totally fine with going and trading Egbuka for Kyron Williams if you're back, if you're running backs are pretty tough.
25:12You know, if you're telling me it's for Kyron to be your backup.
25:16I mean, again, backup to Scat and Emma Johnson.
25:19This is just a confusing question. So let's just move on here.
25:23Let's just move over to the running back rankings day.
25:26Why don't you want to pull those up? And yeah, why don't you read off the top 12 and then give me your biggest smash for the week?
25:36I love it. Let's go. Jameer Gibbs, RB1, Bijan, RB2.
25:39You would imagine it sounds like draft rankings, right?
25:42Get the Buffalo matchup tonight for Gibbs, Carolina for Bijan Robinson, Kenneth Walker against the Colts off of the beautiful.
25:49Wonderful Monday night play. Christian McCaffrey, RB4 after somewhat of a dud overseas in Australia.
25:54Get some Miami Dolphins. James Cook. So we have two top five running backs for tonight, Pete.
26:00RB5 overall is James Cook. You love to see it.
26:03Jonathan Taylor, 6. Derek Henry, 7. Chase Brown, 8.
26:06Who you and I, you know, high on, picked him in an NFFC team.
26:11Javante Williams, 9. I see some of these trade questions.
26:14Hey, do you want to go get Javante Williams?
26:17Because it's been an appealing start for him. And you get the commanders this week.
26:22It's very alluring. Devon, 8. Chan, number 10 against San Francisco.
26:26Bucky Irving, 11. Ashton Janty, 12. So it's funny enough, Ashton Janty, his matchup against the Chargers, Pete, he blew up last week.
26:33Do we think we're correct there with Ashton Janty, player profiler ranks being 12th overall?
26:38And hey, it's the Chargers defense. So maybe a little bit less game flow there.
26:43I mean, so I have Janty at 9. Consensus rankings have Janty at 8.
26:48So I'm a little behind consensus with player profiler.
26:51Not a ton. Chargers defense is starting to scare me a little bit.
26:56I did bump them down in my rankings. The more and more I look into it, I don't know that they match
27:03up as great as I thought they did when we first looked.
27:07I think Janty can have a nice day. So that's why I have him at 9.
27:12At the end of the day, this is not what's important.
27:16Because if you have Janty, you're starting him, right?
27:19The more important parts of the running back rankings is when you get past Janty and you start looking at running backs 14 to 30, right?
27:28And we start talking about, like, do you start Ramondre Stevenson over Aaron Hampton?
27:32You drafted Hampton in the second round. Stevenson might be your RB3.
27:36Are you considering putting him over a guy like Hampton, right?
27:40I think those are the more important questions, Jay.
27:43In terms of running backs beyond 12, why don't you read off the running backs from the next 12?
27:49And let's talk and try to dissect a little bit in that.
27:54Because I think that's really where fantasy managers are struggling to kind of make those start-sit decisions.
27:59Yeah, I love it. And I do want to know, I am higher on Derrick Henry.
28:05I have him 4 overall to player profile 7.
28:08But as we read down these RB2s, Pete, Devon HN at 10.
28:12I actually have Devon HN RB15 overall. I have him lower.
28:15And I think this speaks to the tough schedule and the lower Vegas implied totals over the duration of the season.
28:22We had a good matchup last week against the Raiders.
28:26I think this is just a trap, bad situation for Devon HN.
28:30You're still going to start him, especially Devon HN when you drafted him.
28:34So it's not like you have many other options considering you got Devon HN probably the 1-2 turn, maybe the middle of round 2.
28:42Let's read off. As you said, we led off with Janty.
28:46I also have Janty. He's RB8 for me. So I'm right there with consensus ranks.
28:51Janty 12. Omerian Hampton 13. So that same game.
28:54Chargers, Raiders, 12 and 13 back-to-back. Saquamon Barkley's 14.
28:57David Montgomery, 15. Brees Hall had a good game against the Tennessee Titans.
29:01RB 16. Kyron Williams against the New York Giants, which I think is a great matchup.
29:07He's 17 overall. But we have to remember Blake Corum's lurking there.
29:11And I think people are just bearish a little bit on him.
29:15Put John Judkins 18 overall after a dud game.
29:18We shall see because, Pete, you and I both have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers recommended for a defensive stream this week.
29:25J.K. Dobbins. Okay. It was J.K. last week for the Denver Broncos in their showing.
29:30You just want to move and turn the page.
29:33RB19. Jalen Warren, 20 overall. Rico Dowdle, 21. You and I were high on him, Pete.
29:38He had a dud week one. The Steelers threw a lot in tight instead of, you know, going to the run game.
29:45It'll be interesting to see if that shifts. Janarian Price, 22.
29:49Chuba Hubbard, 23. Great bounce back from the injury.
29:52Chuba Hubbard, definitely the play over Brooks early on this season.
29:56Then Ramondre Stevenson. Player Profiler has him 24. Honorable mention.
29:59High RB3s. DeAndre Swift. Jeremiah Love. I'm really not sure what's going on with DeAndre Swift at 25.
30:05I have him at 14, Pete. And I don't think there was an earlier week injury.
30:11So I think that's very bearish, ironically. DeAndre Swift at 25.
30:14I think he should be much higher. Any takeaways here, Pete?
30:18Yeah. So I think Swift is questionable. I think he's dealing with something, but I don't think it's anything that's going to, you know, have him miss.
30:27I think that might be why he's ticked down.
30:30And that also makes sense because you also look at J.K.
30:34Dobbins in the rankings at 19 and Harvey down at 31.
30:37I don't have I have Dobbins at 33 and Harvey at 30 this week.
30:42I think the idea is that people expect the Broncos to lean super heavy on the run game.
30:48And so because of what happened last week, I'm not super sold that that's going to happen still.
30:54So Dobbins for sure at 19. I'm not a fan or at least I'm not there with Player Profiler yet.
31:01And again, I think a lot of this is probably baked in to the fact that there's a thought that, you know,
31:08Dobbins might not have to compete with Harvey too much because of that injury report.
31:13So that's one. And then Stevenson, right? We talked about Stevenson.
31:17I haven't met 17 this week. I think Stevenson's going to get a lot of work against the Steelers.
31:23I think this is, again, a grinded out game.
31:26They relied on Stevenson last week. They're going to rely on him again.
31:31I know Trevon Henderson is probably coming back. He made it known.
31:35Even still, my early ranking on Henderson's 34 this week.
31:38I'm not super high on Henderson. And Player Profiler, we have met 36.
31:42So I think Stevenson, I think this is a Stevenson game.
31:46Player Profiler might feel differently. They might think it's a Drake May game, a bounce back for him.
31:52And that might be why Drake May is higher and the running backs are lower.
31:57I just see that the, I see the game going a little bit different.
32:02Yeah, I love it. And one thing that's glaring as I'm looking at this, Saquon Barkley at RB14 against the Tennessee Titans.
32:09I see it just as just a crush game for Saquon Barkley.
32:13I have him ranked seventh this week, Pete. Very high on Saquon Barkley.
32:18I just think when you have the options of Dallas Goddard, Devonta Smith, it was a poor game, poor showing for Makai Lemon.
32:25The utility of how this will funnel through the offense.
32:29I think Saquon Barkley finds the end zone and he absolutely crushes.
32:33And when you consider defense and running back play is correlated so much in some of these games, it could get ugly very early for the Tennessee Titans.
32:42And I see Saquon Barkley being a big part of that.
32:46And then for Quenchon Judkins, I have him RB26 to player profilers 18.
32:50I'm a lot more bearish on him. I like to think that there could be something there to bounce back against Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
32:58But again, they're extreme defense that I like this week.
33:02And a lot of it has to do with the steering of the ship by Deshaun Watson.
33:07Underlying usage for Casey Concepcion. Tremendous output. Not quite there.
33:11It's just been god awful. It's just been blaringly bad in just one game.
33:15So I'm bearish. I'm reticent. I don't love it.
33:18I know Pete in our 350 NFFC, we've got Quenchon Judkins.
33:22It's not like we're not starting him. But the sentiment though, I'm absolutely bearish on somebody like a Quenchon Judkins.
33:29I invite your thoughts on either Barkley or Quenchon Judkins.
33:32Yeah, I have Judkins at 23. So I'm a little bit there with you.
33:37I'm kind of in the middle between you and Player Profiler's rankings.
33:41You know, Tampa Bay's run defense was best in EPA success rate versus the run last year.
33:47This is a stout run defense. They add Reuben Bain.
33:50They also add a trotter. So I think this run defense is much improved.
33:55I think this is going to have to be a game where they throw the football from behind.
34:01That's why I love the Bucs defense this week.
34:04That's like an easy thing to say. Doesn't take a genius to know Bucs.
34:08DST is going to be good. Saquon, I have him at 12.
34:12So I'm a little behind you. But Landon Dickerson is going to be out this week.
34:18He goes on IR. I think it's really more of a smash spot for Jalen this week.
34:23Jeffrey Simmons coming out and talking about, you know, I think he said something to the effect of Jalen's going to have
34:31to be like a quarterback this week. I just I don't know.
34:35Whatever reason when people talk crap to Jalen, he feels like he cooks them at any time.
34:40Jeffrey Simmons talks smack about another player. They come in to their house and they blow the doors off them, it feels like.
34:48So I don't know. I'm riding with with Hertz more.
34:52I still like Barkley. He's he's a low end RB one for me this week.
34:57So I'm cool with that. And yeah, I mean, I don't really have much else to say about the running backs.
35:04Why don't we go ahead and take a couple of questions here, Jay, from the chat really quick.
35:10And and then we'll move over to wind receivers.
35:13Who do we got here? Let's go ahead to Bart Furley said, would you drop Waddle for Christian Watson?
35:19I mean, I I assume it's a is a smaller league.
35:23I would try to find a much I would try to find somebody else to drop.
35:28Like if this is a small league and you have two quarterbacks, I would be dropping a quarterback before I did that.
35:35But so that would be my answer. Heck, I might even not even start a kicker.
35:41I might even just not have a kicker just so I could roster both of these guys.
35:47But in a small league, I'm probably still rostering Waddle.
35:50I like Christian Watson. I'm probably still rostering Waddle, though.
35:53So, yeah, that's that's where I'm at, Jay. Let's go to another question.
35:58If you could pick up if you could pick up Watson, drop a kicker in double package.
36:03He and Waddle for maybe an up to your receiver, maybe go and do that.
36:08And the only other thing that I could think of, granted, people usually would preface this would be maybe this is like
36:16a guillotine league and you want some immediacy. But that's true.
36:19Yeah. For a guillotine league, sure. But I don't that context wasn't there.
36:24Aligned with Pete, if you want to get outside of the box, drop a kicker at not Brandon Aubrey.
36:30But if you can drop a kicker, go and get Watson, package the two of them up.
36:36Redraft trades are so difficult. But something like that, Pete, if it hit your inbox, how good would an offer of Watson
36:43and Waddle be for you with the belief that Waddle is going to bounce back?
36:48And you've got who you think could be Christian Watson, a top 12 receiver the rest of the season.
36:55There'd be a lot more you'd be willing to give up for that.
36:59No. Yeah, I would depend on who these small smaller leagues.
37:03These are really hard to make trades in. I mean, I find that my 14-man league is the most active league that
37:10I have because people are willing to trade for crappier players, depth players, than when you're in a 12-man, a 10-man.
37:17Nobody wants to trade elite players for depth. But when you're in a 14-man, Jay, A, there's two more owners, two more trade partners.
37:25But also, I feel like people are more willing to buy depth, so to speak.
37:30But let's move on. Let's get some more questions here.
37:33Let's answer a couple more rapid fire. We won't go into much analysis.
37:38Mark Andrews and Dalton Kincaid. This is a tough one this week.
37:42You know, tight end rankings, I may have been number one in fantasy pros this past week.
37:48Tight end rankings, I was ranked 158 in terms of my overall success with analysts.
37:53So I was pretty bad with tight ends last week.
37:56I'll lean to you, and I'll defer to you, Jay, who you prefer here because I don't have a strong vibe here.
38:03I do know Jack Campbell is a good linebacker and is probably covering Kincaid a lot this week.
38:09And they ran a lot of 13 personnel, the Bills, last week against a tough Houston defense.
38:15That might change this week. I have Dalton Kincaid as my tight end three this week.
38:20So he's there. I'm going with it. And the Ascension, all the underlying metrics were there on his player profiler page.
38:27A lot of ones, twos, and threes next to his name.
38:31Actually, a lot more ones than you'd be surprised for last season.
38:35And I'm going Dalton Kincaid. I especially love him in the tight end premium.
38:40I'm actually starting him, too, over somebody like Tyler Warren.
38:43And a lot of it is I'm following what happened in week one when the expectancy wasn't there for the Bills offense against the Texans.
38:52And now that we have the expectancy of this 54.5 point over under where so many players can get their number.
38:59Yeah, give me Dalton Kincaid. And I love I would push up Mark Andrews some with the receiver injury.
39:05So I like where your head's at. If this is a point five tight end premium, I would investigate flexing.
39:12If you have the opportunity, tight end proper Kincaid tonight and flexing in somebody like a Mark Andrews.
39:18So love to play. I hope that was directional analysis that was relevant to your team.
39:23So I have Kincaid at six. I have Andrews at seven.
39:27I did move Kincaid up. I had him at nine on my initial rankings.
39:31And then I moved him up slightly. Andrews, who the heck knows with him these days?
39:37I love Mark Andrews, but I just don't know what I'm getting week in, week out.
39:42But no Isaiah Likely. And obviously potential for pass catchers, two guys to be down this week.
39:48So Mark Andrews just ran 21 routes last week, six targets.
39:52So the volume was there for Mark Andrews in a game script that was not favorable for him.
39:58Yards per route run, though, 2.33 and a 24% target share.
40:01So I expect that target share to be high for Mark Andrews this week.
40:06I think I'm talking myself into actually saying I'm going to go out on a limb.
40:11I'll say I'll start. I'll start Andrews over Kincaid.
40:14Consensus rankings, by the way, over on Fantasy Pros has this right now as Dalton Kade at four.
40:20So with you and Mark Andrews at 11. So Fantasy Pros consensus rankings experts do not like Mark Andrews.
40:27So I'm probably pretty high on him, but we'll see.
40:30Um, let's go with one more and then we will go ahead and get to the wide receivers.
40:36Uh, Revan Jedi Master said, what's up guys? Keep up the good work.
40:41Said, I need to drop bench, uh, running back Mike Washington.
40:44Uh, uh, but, but, but, but, but. Emmitt Johnson.
40:47Emmitt Johnson and Lloyd for a kicker. Um, yeah, I mean, I, I think you're dropping Mike Washington here.
40:54Um, just because Lloyd and Johnson are in more favorable situations.
40:57If they're put in to be the starter, they're in offenses that should have more touchdown equity, touchdown upside.
41:04Um, and we saw, I thought my again, one week, but Gentty coming off an ankle coming off the ankle injury got an insane workload.
41:12I mean, he had over 20 carries. So I thought it was going to be more of a split and it was not the case.
41:20So to me, give me Emma Johnson, who seems like a little bit more standalone value and is in a better offense.
41:28If the starter goes down and same with Marshawn Lloyd, who I'm not very high on, but he's getting volume.
41:35He's getting the most volume at all three of these guys.
41:38And so you got to take the chance that he could be the starter and he could just bounce back from a bad week.
41:46One. If Mike Washington and Lloyd were on leave level footing where they're both starting have the same similar role.
41:53I'd want Mike Washington, but because of where they are right now.
41:57Mike Washington seemingly buried and we love his talent, but Emmitt Johnson flashed so much.
42:02I loved what I saw from him, the involvement, the usage that the chiefs had.
42:07He nearly scored a touchdown. And it's one of those things where like, oh crap, I've got him on my roster.
42:14I got him on the bench. You were ecstatic.
42:17One fun part of watching and playing fantasy football is you're like, I have Ray Davis.
42:22If Ray Davis pops in there or something happens, granted, we don't wish for injuries, but if opportunity abounds and he's a
42:30big waiver wire pickup of the week, I've got so much Ray Davis on the bench.
42:35Likewise, with somebody like Emmitt Johnson, if he were to get the keys to be the RB1 with the Kansas City Chiefs, we saw what Kenneth Walker did.
42:45Not saying the talent is near the same, but yeah, I just love Emmitt Johnson.
42:50So right, read Pete, Lloyd and Johnson. Mike Washington, if he had more level ability to being the starter, you'd want him.
42:57But because of where it is pecking order and you got to play that game, pick up a kicker, drop Mike Washington.
43:04Beautiful. All right, let's move over to wide receivers.
43:07Jay, we're rocking and rolling here. Wide receivers, go ahead and read off player profilers rankings for that position.
43:14All right. Number one is Pukunakua. Not many people would argue with that.
43:18Chris Alave, wide receiver two overall. He does have a hamstring injury left, precautionary.
43:23I think he's going to be fine, but monitor that.
43:26Nico Collins is three. This is one where we might have to call like in the newspaper.
43:32This might be a misprint right now. Just fair warning.
43:35It looks like Nico Collins suffered a hamstring injury in practice.
43:39People were trying to determine whether it was game or practice.
43:43Nico Collins, I would cross him out as number three there.
43:46Jamar Chase, four overall. I'm a Ross St. Brown, wide receiver five.
43:50CD Lamb, that Washington Commanders game. Wide receiver six.
43:53Seven overall is JSN. Maybe a little bearish in this because of the quarterback with Drew Locke.
43:59No Sam Darnold. Justin Jefferson, great bounce back last week.
44:02Wide receiver eight overall. Nine is Lad McConkie. We just got word, Pete.
44:07Double practice, two practices missed in a row. And it's not the veteran rest day.
44:12This is Thursday here. Lad McConkie, just put your antennas up.
44:15Be on the lookout for him. Trey Harris, Quentin Johnson.
44:19Just be watching. George Pickens, wide receiver 10. Garrett Wilson, 11.
44:22Mike Evans, 12. Great strong showing in the opening week.
44:26And I'll read off the wide receiver twos while we're at it.
44:30Terry McLaurin, 13. That Dallas game. 14, Emeko Buka versus Cleveland.
44:34Maybe a Parker Washington type of game where they don't get the back and forth, but we get good numbers there.
44:41Terrell McMillan. Jalen Coker, 15-16. I like this back-to-back play.
44:44Panthers should be able to feast. We'll see what happens on the bring back with the Falcons in the quarterback room.
44:51T. Higgins, 17. Christian Watson, 18 against the Jets.
44:54Strong showing last week. Below over under. I think it's 43-and-a-half.
44:58DJ Moore, 19 overall. Gets the Detroit Lions tonight.
45:01We'll see about that. Devontae Adams, 20. Devontae Smith, 21.
45:04Ruth Luther Burden and Roma Dunze. Two Bears, 22-23.
45:07And just outside are Malik Neighbors, Jameson Williams, and Jalen Waddle.
45:11Any kind of thoughts overarching for you, Pete? Uh, yeah.
45:14You cut out there for a second. I don't know if it was me or you.
45:19Chad, if you want to let us know if that was on my side or his side, that would be phenomenal.
45:26But as for just the rankings and, you know, where I have some of these guys, DJ Moore sticks out to me.
45:34Player Profiler has him at 19. I have him at 12.
45:38Uh, I was high on DJ Moore coming into the year.
45:41I think it's a great matchup against Detroit. A lot of points in this one.
45:46And just looking at DJ Moore's week last week, I mean, DJ Moore was phenomenal against a really, really tough matchup.
45:53And, uh, oh, okay. It's on Pete's side. You can hear Jeremiah.
45:57All right. I guess it was me. It was me.
46:01Uh, routes run last, last week for DJ Moore, 24, uh, only 75% snap percentage.
46:06Yards per out run for DJ Moore, though. 4.17.
46:09Uh, 8-0 was very high. Of course, 21. Uh, he, he ran some nice routes downfield.
46:14Um, his area yard share was 45.4% and, uh, seven targets, a 24.1% target share, uh, which is about where I was
46:21expecting DJ Moore to be this year. Uh, he gets the lines in a game that's 54.5 points total.
46:28Um, I mean, I do think James Cook bounce back is, is upon us tonight.
46:33Um, I do believe that Jay, but overall, uh, I think DJ Moore is going to, going to get his for sure.
46:40I'm glad you pointed that out, Pete, uh, DJ Moore 19.
46:44I have DJ Moore wide receiver nine. And when I was sliding up and down, I'm sitting there saying to myself, we've
46:51got such a high over under total. And you talk about what happened last week, emotional rollercoaster where Buffalo bills, I think
46:59the four and a half, the lions can cover because your emotional game off of the road versus emotional win at home,
47:06but to barn burner games and two adjacent defenses.
47:09I just see money being printed tonight for in a lot of different ways.
47:14Uh, James Cook, huge game bounce back. He's my touchdown pick, as I mentioned earlier.
47:19And then I'm on raw tie in in this game.
47:22I'm on raw is my wide receiver one overall this week.
47:26He is wide receiver five for player profiler. So I'm much higher on, I'm on Ross St.
47:32Brown. Jameson Williams is wide receiver 16 for me.
47:35And he is just outside of the top 25.
47:38He's a high wide receiver three. And I really see a lot of it is I'm sliding up these 50 point over under games.
47:46Those secondary and tertiary options are going to get so much more play.
47:50I already mentioned how I have Dalton Kincaid as a tight end three.
47:54I'm attacking a lot in this game. I like a lot to happen tonight, but I'm on Ross St.
48:01Brown. I do have just above Puka Nakua who player profiler.
48:04We have number one Puka Nakua. I am more of the mind that it's not going to run and shoot back and
48:12forth the same with the Rams and the Giants on Monday Night Football.
48:16I see just that little bit of difference where it's going to run back and forth with Amon Ross St.
48:23Brown and the Buffalo Bills. I do have a crazy touchdown ticket tonight.
48:27I shared it with Pete. Pete said he's going to ride with it.
48:32Two touchdowns for James Cook. Two touchdowns for Jameson Williams.
48:35I'm looking at regression for both players to get in the end zone.
48:39And I'm trying to tie a chalk player like James Cook to a volatile player like Jameson Williams.
48:45Not financial advice. Not even gambling advice. More so sprinkle something on there if you can.
48:51And just of note too interesting. I have Jackson Smith and Jigba wide receiver four.
48:56And he's seventh on our rankings. The thing about JSN going up against Arizona.
49:00I'm really not worried if it's Drew Locke. I think Drew Locke can feed enough against a poorer defense that is the Arizona Cardinals.
49:08And I'm not afraid at all. I actually think the sprinkle sprinkle.
49:12I actually think that JSN and the Seattle Seahawks are absolutely going to cover.
49:17Funny enough, going back to that game. Janarian Price is RB22 in my ranks and in the ranks of player profiler.
49:24So a line there. But overall thought sentiment. There's going to be boom spike weeks for somebody like a Janarian Price.
49:31He's going to get in the end zone plenty throughout this year.
49:35We don't love what happened with George Helani. We don't love the split per se, but it's going to be one of
49:43those things where war value with Jameson Williams. Like Jameson Williams is a player who you just have to keep putting in your lineup.
49:51And to me, I'm feeling that way at the running back position with Jadarian Price where I've got to keep putting Jadarian Price in my lineup.
49:59Because years ago, Matthew Berry always talked about you got whack-a-mole players.
50:03Like I think Ted Ginn was one where it's like Ted Ginn goes off.
50:08You start him. Like that's absolutely aggravating. And he was really in the early stages of getting on to the war value concept.
50:16And Jameson Williams is one of those players. So is Jadarian Price.
50:20I think early on. So people who, hey, we got seven points from Jadarian Price last week.
50:26I'm pissed. I think it's going to piss you off when you bench Jadarian Price this week.
50:31And then he gets you maybe 15 points, maybe 17 points.
50:35You're like, damn it. He fell on the end zone twice.
50:39What happened here? So not a top 12 play, but a play as an RB2 that I'm very excited for.
50:45And looking at some ranks, Chris Olave, another digression between my ranks and player profilers ranks.
50:51Wide receiver two overall. I have Chris Olave. I have him as wide receiver 12.
50:56And part of that is to the degree of difficulty where Tyler Shuck versus the Baltimore Ravens defense.
51:02I think they're just going to prove to be a little bit tougher than the Detroit Lions.
51:07And if we shave off a little bit of game flow because the Ravens do have no Jacoby Lane, no Zay Flowers.
51:15All of a sudden you're sitting there saying, oh, maybe this goes through Derrick Henry a little bit more.
51:21Of course, people want Mark Andrews to hit Rashad Bateman as we had answered in another scheduled answer to a start sit question.
51:29I would absolutely love the Ravens to hit like that.
51:32But I could see that pulling off a little bit of the bring back nature.
51:37And just the Ravens aren't going to be the Detroit Lions defense.
51:41So that's the discrepancy there I have. We have Pete.
51:45I think Pete's trying to get back. We will.
51:48Let's drop one more break. And then we will come right back on the other side.
51:53We will talk about the tightest of ends. Hey, I know DFS may have peaked, but there are still hundreds of thousands
52:00of people to play and millions of dollars up for grabs every week.
52:05So let's put our hoodie on and let's talk about Player Profiler's DFS Dominator.
52:09It has a cash game optimizer that leverages the projections from Bradley and Evan and that Player Profiler AI Engine to create
52:17cash game lineups that certainly have a high floor, but also give you that ceiling.
52:22Now you've probably heard about the most powerful tool of all, our lineup genius.
52:27We know winning GPPs requires a completely different approach, which is why our lineup genius takes you through the process of selecting the quarterbacks in the juiciest matchups.
52:36Then it highlights the stacks and runbacks that are available, lets you pick the chalk level, lets you pick the level of
52:43correlation with a number of other proprietary settings available to you.
52:47Click a button and it generates hundreds of lineups to be imported into FanDuel and DraftKings.
52:52And it's just $45 a year, not a week, a year.
52:56So for that reason alone, if you play DFS, you'd be an idiot not to buy the DFS Dominator.
53:02I don't care about my exact weight. I don't care how much I weigh.
53:07I care about how good I look and how good I feel.

54:11Hey, you'll love to see it. And I know Pete is working.
54:15He gave a little update to me, texted me.
54:18He's working on his Wi-Fi. So hopefully Pete will be back very soon.
54:23Shout out to the podcast Pete. His rankings were number one on Fantasy Pro.
54:27So you'll love to see it, Pete. And I've been able to just have a front seat to that.
54:34And it's been really fun just working with him all summer on NFC drafts, on Fantasy Price Check.
54:40Just like a couple different streams that we've had.
54:43It's been so much fun. And this show has been a lot of fun as well.
54:48I'm going to read off player profiler ranks for the tight end.
54:52Trey McBride, number one overall. Funny enough, he's my number one tight end as well.
54:57Not much of a coincidence. But funny enough, Colson Loveland, number two.
55:01His get back against the Minnesota Vikings. I have Colson Loveland, number two in my ranks.
55:06I think he gets his get back against Minnesota.
55:09And fear, panic, doubt. You know, fear, uncertainty, doubt.
55:12The FUD. We're not going to deal with FUD when it comes to Colson Loveland.
55:18So you run back to it. It's a wildest thing.
55:21It's why we come back to this game. Hey, the Bears score, 59 points.
55:26You're running to the box score to see what Odunze, Luther Burden, and Colson Loveland did.
55:31And damn it, DeAndre Swift got there. My God, nothing for Colson Loveland.
55:35Like, that really sucked. The most tilting thing was the Cole commit laser throw touchdown grab.
55:41You're like, damn, this does nothing for me. But, of course, if you had Caleb Williams, you did not care one bit.
55:48Jawan Johnson pulling off of big week last week came on late in that Lions game.
55:53I had started. Look, anybody who had them knows Shuck, Olave, Jawan Johnson, all the Saints players really cooked late.
56:00And Kendra Miller even got into the action with a touchdown.
56:04So the player profiler has Jawan Johnson three. Tucker Craft four.
56:07I like that. I actually have Tucker Craft four as well.
56:11And I couldn't be much higher on Tucker Craft.
56:14I'm very, like, the usage when you saw the plays, the passes that were connecting for him, you see more left on the table.
56:22So I like that ranking. A lower, I think it's a 43 or 44 over-under for the Jets and Packers game.
56:29I actually recommended, was it Trey Smack? Smack is the kicker.
56:33Smack hit a 40-yard range field goal on a 50-yard range field goal last week.
56:38I think off the top of my head he had 13 points.
56:42So great for Trey Smack. But this agreement with Packers offense, all offseason we talked about, Christian Watson is going to run through him.
56:50And Tucker Craft. I think we're going to get a little bit of leveling between Watson and Craft.
56:56And I think he's just absolutely going to eat up against those linebackers on the New York Jets.
57:02Mark Andrews is five. I have him 13. So player profiler is very high on Mark Andrews.
57:08And I think it's just a testament to the injuries for the Ravens.
57:12And my God, who isn't going to eat right now against the Saints defense?
57:17Although I believe the Saints play week three against the Raiders.
57:21And I think that'll be a spot for the Saints to bounce back defensively.
57:25But right now, they look very gettable. Number six overall, Dalton Kincaid.
57:29I have him tight end three overall. I'm very high on Dalton Kincaid.
57:34And I think six is even high on him.
57:37Most people would think Dalton Kincaid at six is very high.
57:40I actually have him at three. So I'm excited to watch this game.
57:45And a little less than a half hour. Isaiah Likely, seven.
57:48Just a blow-up game. Everything that we've wished and wanted for where, hey, I believe Isaiah Likely is a tight end one.
57:56And you've just had to believe it and think it and keep it to yourself.
58:01And you've not been able to be proven right until this week one game where he absolutely blew up against the Dallas Cowboys.
58:08And now people are talking about 1A, 1B in the New York Giants offense.
58:13Malik Nabors, Isaiah Likely. Who would have thought just a year ago you would say something like that?
58:19George Kittle, tight end eight against the Miami Dolphins.
58:22Again, this looks like a matchup play in our player profiler ranks.
58:26Tyler Warren is there at nine. Tyler Warren, I have him fifth overall at Kansas City.
58:32But I can see the bearishness. I am absolutely starting.
58:35The Kansas City Chiefs, I recommend them on the Kickers and Defense show.
58:39After what they did to the Denver Broncos. And it was actually before what they did to the Denver Broncos.
58:46So I actually feel a little bit better about the play now.
58:50I love some Chiefs next week. I think they can terrorize Daniel Jones.
58:54I love what the Colts did last year. But they really just need a swift kick in the ass to get in gear.
59:02And they seem to have gotten that kick last week from the Ravens.
59:06But I don't know if it knocked out the fuzziness, if that makes sense.
59:11Michael Mayer, tight end 10 overall. I think that's just setting in reality that he's going to get another start.
59:18And he's a very talented player on the Raiders and possibly garbage time opportunities against the Chargers.
59:24And Pete had mentioned, though, earlier in the show, the Chargers, the defense is getting a little rough.
59:30So maybe not the best defense out there. So Michael Mayer, 10.
59:34Dallas Goddard, 11. Absolutely feasted last week. Gets the Tennessee Titans.
59:37I don't think you need to say much more there.
59:41Travis Kelsey, 12th overall against the Colts. 13th overall, Sam Laporta versus the Buffalo Bills.
59:46I have Sam Laporta, 7 overall. Again, this Bills-Lions game is going to print a lot of points tonight.
59:52If it really underwhelms somehow and we get like a 23-20 game, I'm going to be pissed.
59:58And so are you. Jake Ferguson had a dud.
60:01The Fergusons all had duds in week one. He's there at tight end 14.
60:05If you're desperate on Ferguson, I think you ought to start him, put him in.
60:11But you got to have so many options out of the way.
60:15It's a great, ripe spot for a shootout. About Commanders and Cowboys.
60:19Much like tonight's game. K-Dotten, 15th overall against Cleveland.
60:22I like K-Dotten last week as a play. I'm not so sure he's going to hit against the Cleveland Browns.
60:28I don't know if there's going to be enough points to go around.
60:33Implied Vegas points for Tampa Bay is 25. I'm just not sure it's all going to be coming around to somebody like a K-Dotten.
60:41I don't know if the touchdown equity is going to be there.
60:45Dalton Schultz at 16. I see him being raised much higher as we get clarity on Nico Collins.
60:51So we could be talking about like a back end tight end one play.
60:55Harold Fannin Jr. is 17. This is very depressing.
60:5817, Fannin. Pitts, 18. Middling. Tight end twos. These are tight ends who, you know, Harold Fannin Jr.
61:04has been like a top five, top six tight end in Dynasty for people.
61:09And we just have to wear it for the fact that it's no man's land right now.
61:15Not the player. Not the talent. More so the situation for Harold Fannin Jr.
61:20Firemuth. Strong showing. Last week. Against the Falcons. But I don't see it happening against the New England Patriots two weeks in a row.
61:28I'm very reticent there. Evan Ingram. Pete loves Evan Ingram.
61:31And we love that touchdown that he had last week.
61:34Jacksonville Jaguars. Chago Conquo. We'll see if he's healthy.
61:3722. Hunter Henry against the Steelers. And then Hawkinson.
61:4023. Strange. 24. So a lot of different divergence.
61:43I spoke to what's going on with the tight ends.
61:47I'm very high on Tucker Craft. But I'm much higher than Player Profiler on Dalton Kincaid.
61:52As they have him at six. I've got him at three.
61:56Michael Mayer. I have down at 16. Player Profiler has him at 10.
62:00I mean. I may need to look back at some Michael Mayer.
62:04Just for the fact that. It's just another opportunity.
62:07And maybe he should be a little bit higher than.
62:11Say a Jake Ferguson. But then again. Jake Ferguson.
62:14I have 12. I have Mark Andrews 13. And they're just great matchups.
62:18So I don't love the matchup. We wish cast opportunities sometimes when players get it.
62:23Like Marshawn Lloyd. We wanted him to crush last week.
62:26But it didn't always happen. So the timing isn't always right either.
62:30When these players get to fill in for injury.
62:33And there's a beautiful face. A sight for sore eyes.
62:37Pete. We just ran the gamut of tight ends.
62:40I don't know how much of that you heard.
62:43But anything stick out for you. I did mention Pete.
62:46I've got Dalton Kincaid. As my tight end. Three overall.
62:49I have Sam Laporta. As seven. And Sam Laporta.
62:52At player profiler is 13. Again. I'm chasing the upside of this game.
62:57So. What do you make of anything that I said there?
63:00Yeah. I have. Hopefully. Sorry about that. The weather's really bad by me right now.
63:06And I did. I was about to call my Wi-Fi provider.
63:09And scream at them. But yeah. I have Sam Laporta.
63:13As my tight end too. This week. Again. I am not the tight end guy.
63:18I. I'm usually not that bad. But last week.
63:21I may have done well. In the fantasy pros competition.
63:24But. You know. Again. I ranked like 158. It's one week.
63:28Right? It's one week. But. Yeah. I have. I have Sam Laporta too.
63:32So. I'm. A little surprised. To see how low.
63:35Player profile rankings are on Laporta. Dalton Schultz at 17.
63:38I have. You know. There's a good chance. He gets ticked up.
63:42With the official news of Nico. George Kittle is really like the hardest feel for me this week.
63:48He's at eight in the rankings. Jay. I have him at 14.
63:52It's hard to make a lot out of it.
63:55With him. But. The one thing I will say with George Kittle.
63:59Jay. That's always a constant with him. In his career.
64:03With the 49ers. Is. They don't mind just not using him at all.
64:07And having him just be a blocker. Right? And then he'll step up when guys are hurt.
64:13You got Debo. You got Mike Evans. You have Chris McCaffrey.
64:17You got Kaelin Black now. Who. Who might be a thing.
64:20Who knows. I don't think he will be that much of a thing.
64:25But he might be. So. I don't know. Kittle is a weird one for me.
64:30Where do you have him ranked? I'm. I'm going to miss that.
64:34Yep. Yeah. I've got Kittle ranked 11. So. I kind of have him parked in that territory.
64:39To what you're talking about. Where. You sit there and say.
64:43Well. He could blow up. He could do well.
64:46He could find the end zone. Or. To what you say.
64:50What's aggravating about him. Is. They don't mind almost a clear out game.
64:54And you can almost tell. From the jump. In the first quarter.
64:58You're like. Oh crap. He's. Really not going to be over involved.
65:02And. Usually. Early on in the game. It's off to the races.
65:06And you're like. Oh cool. We're going to get a.
65:1040 burger. From. George Kittle. So it's funny enough.
65:13You. To protect for that. I'm putting him. Later in the rankings.
65:17Because. Prime over stats. In his career. Fantasy points per game.
65:20Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. All high up there.
65:23Is George Kittle. So. I have him safely ranked there.
65:27For the fact that I know. It's somewhere in the middle.
65:30Where. It's not an entire drop off on him.
65:33But I can't put him too much higher. In the ranks.
65:37Because I think he would just crater. You know.
65:40If you're trying to score points at home. Cube.
65:43You know. Tight end 11 there. Is where I have him.
65:47I did notice. Jawan Johnson. Is tight end three.
65:50In these tight end ranks. I have him. Tight end 10.
65:53Part of that accounts for the fact that. He came on late last week.
65:58And. As much as I like. What's going on with the Saints.
66:02And the opportunity that is there. I'm a little bit scared off.
66:06For the fact that it took so long. Against this Detroit Lions offense.
66:11And I just see a little bit more control.
66:14With this Baltimore Ravens defense. And Lamar Jackson. Controlling the clock.
66:17With. Derek Henry. To the point where I do have.
66:21Jawan Johnson has a top 10 play. And I think it's.
66:24It's interesting that he's three overall. I just think that's way too high.
66:29So I'm. I'm bearish on Jawan Johnson. Compared to the player profiler ranks.
66:33Be interested to see Pete. Where do you have Jawan Johnson?
66:37Jawan Johnson. He was a guy that I had up.
66:40And then I dropped him down. I have Jawan Johnson.
66:43Around like tight end 10, 11. Just because I think there's a.
66:47There's a possibility. That you know. It's a negative game script.
66:51You know. So. But Noah Fant. I want to see.
66:54I mean. He was. He was pretty decently involved last week.
66:58So. Interested to see how that is. I do want to do one thing.
67:03Before we do wrap up Jay. I want to do a dog of the week.
67:08So. I'm going to let you Jay. I'm going to give you the.
67:12The mic. And. Oh. You want to. You want to take this question first.
67:17I'll take. I'll take two questions. And then. I'll do a dog of the week.
67:22Okay. Likely or Laporta. Funny enough. Jake Perez. I have Laporta seven.
67:26I have likely eight. So. I'm putting Laporta just ahead of likely.
67:30So. If you have them both on your team.
67:33You might be in this verge territory. Where you could start both.
67:37Have one in the flex. If there's. A premium.
67:40Something about flexing. These tight ends. That have emerged.
67:43With the tight end renaissance. Is actually pretty appealing.
67:46There was. A. It was like a. Parker Washington.
67:49Or DJ Moore. Yes. Parker Washington. Or DJ Moore.
67:52What my answer. What I want it to be.
67:55Is like. Almost anyone. And then the other one.
67:58Test. It's. It's Parker Washington. But. I have DJ Moore.
68:02To my rankings. I have him ninth. And I have Parker Washington.
68:06Pull him up. He's 18 right now. I want to put Parker Washington.
68:10Much higher. He's got dog rating. And he's somebody who.
68:13Should probably be much higher. But. DJ Moore. Just has such an easier path.
68:18This week. And I don't see. Again. Talk about all the time.
68:22Game flow. Returning. I don't know what that game flow.
68:25Is going to be with the Jaguars. I know Parker Washington.
68:29Eight last year. But. I would put. DJ Moore.
68:32Over. I kind of. Do want to push back.
68:35No one say. How can you not fit them both in?
68:39Like. If we live in America. And we have freedom.
68:42You need to be able to put both of them in.
68:46That's all I'm saying. I know. I. I do got to say.
68:50If BTJ is out. You know. Then. What does it look like.
68:54If it's Jacoby. And just Parker. And strange. Strange.
68:57And how much does. Sertan. Cover. Parker Washington. Who actually carved them up.
69:01A little bit last year. Somebody did ask. Where you have Malik neighbors.
69:06I'll just jump in and say. I have neighbors at 10.
69:09I'm not sure where Jay has neighbors. But I have him at 10 this week.
69:14And he'll probably bump up. Because Nico is ahead of him right now.
69:19Which. Is not going to stay that way. I've got Malik neighbors 14.
69:23And. It's more so. With this defense. And I want to be proven wrong.
69:28I want it to happen. But. It's again. A safe spot.
69:31To put Malik neighbors. Who's really a top five wide receiver.
69:35If he absolutely blew the doors off the Rams.
69:38You wouldn't be surprised. But. I'll be a little bit more surprised.
69:42Than. The outcome of. I think he could have more of a middling game.
69:47So that's where I have him. As a high end wide receiver too.
69:51Malik neighbors. Okay. Beautiful. All right. Why don't you go ahead.
69:55And. I'll give you the floor here. For your dog of the week.
69:59And then. I'll do mine. Yep. Dog of the week.
70:03And if this is like a. A bad dog.
70:06I really don't love. What's happening with the Chargers.
70:09To start the season. And I'm really not high on Quentin Johnson.
70:13And I know that McHockey may be out. I think you're going to end up being disappointed.
70:18In his output. You're not going to get the game you want.
70:22I'm going to venture and veer towards more of an O'Marrion Hampton game.
70:27And more of a Trey Harris game. So. That's my thought on that.
70:31My dog of the week. At the receiver position.
70:34Pete. If you want me to do other positions.
70:37You just let me know. I think Pete has something good for us.
70:41On the dog of the week. All right. Folks.
70:44The dog of the week. Let's go baby. Dog of the week.
70:48For Pete. Is going to be. Terry. McLaurin. Pete's got Terry McLaurin.
70:53Ranked number. Seven. In. Tune. For the dog of the week.
70:56Woof. Woof. Woof. I expect a big game from Terry this week.
71:00A tough matchup. Versus the Eagles last week. I had him ranked low.
71:05He did not do anything I didn't expect. I expect a massive bounce back.
71:09Everybody's in on Antonio Williams. Stephon Diggs. I think Terry McLaurin.
71:13Versus the Dallas Cowboys. Historically has been great. It's going to be a shootout.
71:18So Terry McLaurin is my dog of the week.
71:21Woof. Woof. Where is this thing? Hey. Excellent job, Pete.
71:24Do we want to take any more questions? Or should we see the crowd out?
71:29I think the questions are drying up. So anything you want to lay out for us for next week?
