Bijan Robinson

NegativeBust64:57

The source expresses skepticism regarding the Falcons offense, specifically citing concerns about the quarterback situation despite the presence of high-end talent like Bijan Robinson.

Insight page

Bo Nix

PositiveBreakout48:54

Bo Nix is a 'boring' fantasy quarterback with significant upside, consistently finishing as a QB7 in his first two seasons. With Sean Payton continuing to increase his passing volume (567 to 612 attempts) and a rushing floor that is 'baked in,' any improvement in accuracy or timing could propel him into the top-5 QB tier. The addition of Jalen Waddle as his WR1 provides a massive upgrade to his pass-catching core.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveUsage21:38

Chase Brown is highly efficient, maintaining a career average of approximately 4.3 yards per carry. He has recorded double-digit touchdowns over the last two years and proved to be a league winner in the final three to four games of last season due to his increased target volume.

Insight page
PositiveValue28:35

Chase Brown is a top-tier 'ride or die' target who is undervalued by the fantasy community. Despite a slow start last year, he finished with 301 touches, nearly 1,500 scrimmage yards, and 11 touchdowns. He is a bell-cow back in a high-powered Bengals offense with top-five RB upside.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveUsage17:25

Jordan Tyson's injury boosts Chris Olave's stock, as it consolidates the target share in the Saints' offense. With Kamara also out, Olave is the primary target command in New Orleans.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeInjury63:01

There is significant concern regarding Christian McCaffrey's health due to reports of lower body soreness and a lack of clear updates from the 49ers. While he remains a high-volume pass catcher, the potential for a physical decline or lingering injury makes him a risky asset for the 2024 season.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue30:36

DJ Moore is a prime buy-low candidate following a down year in Chicago. Now in Buffalo with Josh Allen and reuniting with offensive coordinator Joe Brady, Moore is being drafted as a WR25 in the 5th or 6th round of redraft leagues. Given his history of five 1,100-yard seasons and his potential to serve as Allen's primary target, he offers significant upside to finish as a back-end WR1.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveUsage40:09

David Montgomery is a high-value target for the Houston Texans, where he is expected to serve as the primary grinder. Despite a dip in efficiency last year, he maintained a 4.5 yards per carry average. With a potential for 300+ touches and elite goal-line usage, he has a floor of 12 points per game and could spike to 15 points per game, making him a viable RB1. He is currently being drafted as an RB25-27, serving as a key value piece for hero-RB builds.

Insight page
PositiveValue43:19

David Montgomery is a high-value target in the 5th round of redraft and 8th round of dynasty, serving as a reliable 'firewall' RB before the tier drops to committee or unproven players. He is a perfect plug-in for hero-RB builds, projected for 5-6 starts at RB and more in the flex, providing a stable floor that helps managers fulfill point requirements to support high-capital picks.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeBust64:57

The source expresses skepticism regarding the Falcons offense, specifically citing concerns about the quarterback situation despite the presence of high-end talent like Drake London.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

PositiveBreakout23:20

Emeka Egbuka is the locked-in alpha target for Baker Mayfield in Tampa Bay. Despite a difficult rookie season hampered by injuries to teammates and quarterback Baker Mayfield, Egbuka ranked 15th in YAC and 2nd in unrealized air yards (959), suggesting elite deep volume that failed to convert due to poor target quality. With Mike Evans gone, Egbuka is expected to move to the Z-receiver position where he was most effective.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveProjection53:51

Jayden Daniels offers 'asymmetrical upside' due to his elite rushing floor, averaging eight carries per game. Despite injury concerns in 2025, he remains a high-end target who can finish as the overall QB1. While risky in redraft, he is a premier dynasty asset, and his rushing production provides a 'cheat code' floor that makes him a league-winning candidate if he maintains his efficiency.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury12:00

Jeremiah Love is dealing with a high ankle sprain that will likely keep him out for the remainder of the preseason. His status for Week 1 is uncertain, and the injury kills his early-season momentum, potentially leading to a slow start or an unproductive season.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

NegativeInjury15:48

Jordan Tyson is dealing with a recurring hamstring issue that is distinct from his previous injury, raising concerns about his durability. While he is explosive when on the field, his inability to stay healthy makes him a high-risk asset; managers should consider selling if he has a few productive games.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

NegativeInjury20:51

Kenyon Sadiq is dealing with a hernia, which further clouds his outlook in a Jets offense that the analysts are already fading due to concerns about the quarterback situation.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeBust64:57

The source expresses skepticism regarding the Falcons offense, specifically citing concerns about the quarterback situation despite the presence of high-end talent like Kyle Pitts.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

NegativeRole12:24

With Jeremiah Love injured, Tyler Allgeier is in line for increased work. There is a risk that if Allgeier plays well early, the coaching staff may stick with the 'hot hand' and limit the rookie's role even after he returns.

1:23What's going on, man? What's up? I guess if I had to pick a character and you took Ash, I'll be your
1:30Pikachu, J-Mac, I guess, because I don't want to be Brock or Misty.
1:34Or Ketchum's Charizard, I guess. But I'm good, J-Mac.
1:37You know, been a real hot day. Went to the beach earlier with some friends and stuff.
1:42Had a good time there. So, you know, feeling a little burnt out by the sun.
1:47But otherwise, man, I've been good. How about you?
1:50Oh, man, I've been good. It was hella hot today.
1:53What are you doing outside? I guess if you're going to be outside, the beach is the place to do it.
2:00And if you are Pikachu, you're my ride or die, Jose.
2:03Which kind of makes sense because that is how it feels between us, man.
2:08And we are doing ride or dies today on today's episode, kind of a My Guys episode.
2:13But there's a lot to talk about, man. There's been a lot going on between preseason and training camp and stuff.
2:19Like, it's hard not to overreact, right? Yeah, 100%.
2:22I mean, there's a lot of good news. And also, unfortunately, as always, a lot of bad news, injuries.
2:28So, yeah, I mean, I think it's a great time to really flag plant here and pick some guys that we're really
2:35excited about, you know, kind of sifting through all the hype.
2:38Yeah, for sure. Let's dive into that episode. And if you're out there, you're still looking for a roster review as you
2:45get into the start of the season here. Hit us up at futurefirstpod at gmail.com if you're interested.

3:13The process first content is still coming out. We dropped another one, non-Boogaloo related, just a Dynasty Best Ball episode where one
3:20of the startups we were doing, we interviewed one of the guys for the proxy auctions.
3:25He was pretty, you know, well-versed in the proxy auctions and had a lot of knowledge to drop about that and all of his process.
3:33So check that one out if you're over there.
3:36That's with Dewey from Dewey Does Dynasty is how I know him.
3:39So, and if you're on Spotify and Apple Pods, be sure to follow, rate the show, drop a five-star review.
3:46Shout out to Fox who's been helping us with our graphics.
3:49You can follow her on X at BFoxworth07. Let's get into it, man, with these 2026 ride or dies.
3:55The first, as always, a quick hit. Are you ready, my dude?
3:59Yeah, let's do it. All right, welcome in to the quick hit where we wanted to talk about the rookie injuries.
4:05Woe is me. Woe is rookie. We got Jeremiah Love with an ankle injury.
4:10We got Lemon with a hammy injury. Tyson with a hammy injury.
4:13Janarian Price as lower body soreness. I'm not even sure how to categorize that one.
4:18But then you also got Sadiq with a hernia.
4:21What is going on with these rookies, man? Are they not stretching and getting ready for a training camp?
4:27They get one season off and they forget what to do, huh?
4:30Yeah, man. It's pretty sad for especially a couple of these guys who I think fantasy managers, especially in Dynasty, were hoping
4:37would be maybe not key pieces, at least contributors.
4:40And, you know, missing the rest of the preseason and potentially, you know, going into the season with some injury is not
4:47what you want to hear, especially when you know that it takes the rookies sometimes to, you know, ramp up in the system.
4:54So for Love, it seems like he's done. He's got to be done for the whole rest of the preseason.
5:00They're shooting for hopefully he makes it by week one.
5:04So that's already scary as it is. Lemon and Tyson with the hammies.
5:08I mean, Tyson, this continued hamstring. I mean, this is what everybody was scared of, right?
5:13I said injury concerns be damned, but I might be getting proven wrong here.
5:17It's starting off a real shaky ground for him.
5:20This continued hamstring injuries that kind of plagued them the season into not working out into the offseason.
5:25And, you know, Kellen Moore was pretty didn't share very much, but it sounded like there was experts getting involved.
5:32Like it could be a pretty serious thing for Tyson, for Lemon.
5:35I don't know if you can fill me in a little bit more.
5:39I didn't hear how severe his was. I heard he got hurt, but I didn't read too much else about it.
5:46Yeah. I mean, it's a hamstring injury. It's been nagging him pretty much since the start of training camp.
5:52He's been on and off and on and off.
5:55And, you know, more recently off. It just keeps nagging him.
5:58He can't really get on the field and stay on the field, which is a big deal because it has been pretty much since the beginning of camp.
6:07So he hasn't been getting that, you know, important time here going forward with the starters.
6:12And it kind of just opens the door up for like a Dontavian Wicks to be relevant coming out of the gate here, which is what it is.
6:21And I mean, like if you're in a best ball league or you're in need of, you know, a wide receiver flex
6:27play, whatever it is, maybe Dontavian Wicks is a buy low guy where you can go get him and plug him in for a start.
6:35Yeah, I think I completely agree. I mean, especially in one of the situations like we were talking about, like in a
6:42best ball league as, you know, like that's a perfect guy that you don't need him to contribute all year.
6:48Maybe Mikhail Lemon comes back halfway through and kind of takes his job.
6:52But if he does his work and gets you, you know, two or three starts maybe at the beginning of the season
6:59halfway through, you know, then that's that's all you need.
7:02Right. Like the same guys that start for you or that you count on at the beginning of the season don't need
7:09to be the same guys at the end, especially a guy like Dontavian Wicks.
7:14So I think that's a great shout. I think for Love, I think this just going back to Jeremiah Love with his
7:20ankle, which seems to be the most severe, at least that we know of.
7:25I think just earlier Schefter was reporting that it is a high ankle sprain.
7:29So I think that kind of really kills any momentum, at least for the beginning of the season.
7:35There was already talk about split backfield, blah, blah, blah.
7:38But I mean, now you need to look at Algier and who's he going to split time with?
7:44Is it going to be Connor, who's also kind of banged up?
7:47Is it going to be somebody else? So I think Benson maybe becomes in play.
7:52So I think that's a very interesting and and maybe, you know, Algier plays so well that, you know, he never like
7:59gives it up at least this first season to Jeremiah Love.
8:02And they kind of split even more. Like, I think that's what you'd be more scared of is that if Algier plays
8:09so well that the coaches decide, hey, we don't really need to feature this rookie.
8:14We drafted him, yada, yada, yada. But we also played Algier and he's playing so well.
8:19Why go away from the hot hand, as they love to say?
8:23Yeah, I could definitely see him slow playing Jeremiah Love and Algier getting off to a hot start because I'm not really
8:29banking or putting too much investment into James Connor, who is, like you said, already injured.
8:34And Trey, why am I blanking on this? Trey Benson.
8:38What doesn't seem like he's even in their plans to be on the team?
8:42It feels like like he might be a cut candidate or a trade candidate.
8:46Right. So I do like Algier for early in the season.
8:50I think I think that's probably the play to go.
8:53So they always say with these high ankle sprains that you're either missing like one week or three weeks is kind of the go to thing.
9:01So depending on the severity of it, we don't really know.
9:04We're not going to really know. It only makes sense for him to miss the rest of preseason.
9:10Why risk it? Like there's no there's no reason for him to go back until at least the very start of the season.
9:17And even then, maybe we see him get, you know, either limited snaps or maybe maybe he's not even active on on week one.
9:25Right. It'll be something to pay attention to. But I don't know that a lot of people who have love are actually
9:31banking on love for production at this point. I think a lot of people are expecting him to have, you know, at
9:38the very least, if not a slow start to this season, an unproductive season at say the least here.
9:44I think with Jordan Tyson and his hammy, this one's really concerning.
9:48Right. And I heard, too, that this is not the same hammy that it was when he was coming into camp.
9:55I heard it's like a different one. Right. So now there's something that you just need to watch.
10:00Right. Like he has the soft tissue issues. Right.
10:03Like that's something that you need to be aware of.
10:06We were talking about in one of the chats is he the next Christian Watson, where when he's on the field, he's
10:13explosive and he's great, which we were hearing in camp that he was lighting it up and he was the best player on the field for the Saints.
10:22But what are we going to do now? Right.
10:25If he can't stay on the field, then he's not the best player on the field at that point anymore.
10:31Right. So. I don't know. How are you reading into this Tyson injury?
10:35And are you are you making any sorts of plays on this, whether it's, you know, buying more in on a lava
10:42or is there another wide receiver pass catcher you like over there?
10:45Yeah. I mean, I think it definitely boosts a lava stock even further than where he already was.
10:51Right. It's just going to consolidate the targets with Tyson on the field.
10:55There was just another guy that, you know, could command the targets without Kamara on the field.
11:00So it's really a lava and not much else.
11:03Right. Commanding targets there in New Orleans. So I and I think for Tyson, if you were a person that was like
11:10kind of scared about the injuries and he wasn't your favorite guy, but you kind of got stuck drafting him because, you
11:17know, 11 and Tate went ahead of him and you were forced.
11:21I would look to see if he can have a couple of those Christian Watson games and then sell like I I'm
11:28of the mind that I'll be buying if people are selling low, like I'm still willing to take the risk.
11:34I think he's that good. But it's definitely one of those situations that if you were not a believer, I don't follow you at all.
11:42If you try to find a sell window and try to maybe just recoup your first if you can or, you know,
11:48depending on how well he plays in season, maybe a little bit on top of that.
11:53But it's definitely very concerning because, I mean, if it would have been something else, like you said, like a non soft
12:00tissue, like he rolled his ankle or he got concussed.
12:03Like, obviously not wishing for people to get concussed.
12:06But you know what I mean? Like, if it wasn't a nagging injury that has already, you know, caused him to miss
12:13a lot of time, missed him, missed time in college, all that stuff, then you wouldn't feel as bad.
12:19But now it definitely seems like it's a history of these sorts of issues.
12:23Yeah, they need to go see the doctor that Christian Watson saw.
12:27And then subsequently, Marshawn Lloyd went to go see, right?
12:30To get their muscles aligned and working together. And in the same, because apparently that's a thing.
12:36Like, I could probably use that kind of treatment or analysis here on my muscles because I'm, man, my neck, man, it's always, it's always a little off.
12:44You know, I don't know what's going on. But yeah, man, any else thing with like Kenyon Sadiq and his hernia?
12:51Do you see that opening the window at all for any of the other rookies to get play?
12:56Or maybe that's, you know, just more play for the other tight end, Mason Taylor, to get more involved?
13:02Or are you just fading the Jets in general?
13:05I feel like that's probably your play here. Yeah, I mean, I think for most of the offseason, it's been Brees Hall, Garrett Wilson and dip out.
13:14Like, I just, I feel like Geno Smith is not it.
13:17It didn't look like it when he played a little bit.
13:20So I just can't seem to think that Sadiq now being injured on top of it is going to help his stock.
13:27And Mason Taylor, when he was playing last year and this year, was nothing to write home about.
13:33So definitely no interest there. I think it's just kind of two guys and kind of check out with the Jets.
13:39Okay, that's fair. And yeah, like as we talk about all these injuries and if any of these guys do get off
13:46to a slow start in season, that may just open the buy window in Dynasty or Redraft for that matter.
13:53If you want to make that move and, you know, make that high risk move to go get one of these guys.
13:59There may be that window opening early in the season as they get off to a slow start or maybe not a start at all.
14:07Maybe they're just sitting out like, make sure to go knock on that manager's door and see if they're feeling a little
14:14eager to get some points on the board. Just something to look out for.
14:18Yeah, 100%. All right. Let's take a break here to hear from the Podfather about the Dynasty Deluxe and we'll catch y'all
14:25on the other side with our Ride or Dies.

15:37We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody.

16:32You're welcome. All right. Welcome back. Let's get in to the 2026.
16:36Ride or dies. Our Pikachus. All the guys that we want rolling with us into the season, no matter the price tag.
16:43Sometimes for me, it is all about the price tag.
16:46Or no matter their situation. Let's get into it, man.
16:49Do you want to start us off first here with your first ride or die?
16:54Yeah, sure. Let's go for it. I mean, it's going to be somebody who I think the fantasy community as a whole is kind of just sleeping on.
17:02Like, it's not somebody that gets a lot of hype.
17:05He's just kind of a guy that comes into work and does their thing and kind of people forget about.
17:12I don't know. But it's going to be Chase Brown.
17:15He's a guy that for most ADPs, he's going like middle of the second round, maybe early third round.
17:21And he's about like the running back 10, 11 off the board.
17:24So barely a running back one. And I think what you saw last year in terms of his ability to catch the ball was pretty impressive.
17:33Right. And I think we're still treating him like he has something to prove.
17:37Right. Like in 2025, Brown handled 232 carries, 1,000 yards.
17:40He got 69 receptions for 437 yards, five receiving touchdowns.
17:43I think he just has a really high floor and a top five running back upside.
17:48Like if Joe Burrow was healthy, those first, what was it, six, eight games, whatever it was, where Chase Brown looked like
17:55one of the worst picks in fantasy. Like what happens to him?
17:59Right. Like how high does he finish? That Bengals offense is continuing to play at that level.
18:04Right. And Cincinnati is exactly the kind of offense where I want my running back attached to, you know, a Joe Burrow and an elite passing game.
18:12Right. Defense is they can't just sell out kind of like Derrick Henry sometimes where you can maybe sell out to stop the run.
18:20And he's kind of game script. What's the word I'm looking for?
18:24Bulletproof. Right. If they're winning, he's going to run the ball and finish the game out.
18:29If they're behind and they need to pass the ball, he's coming in.
18:33They didn't again. He he's kind of the player that in dynasty, it's a little bit scary.
18:38Just if we're just talking about read after looking at a dynasty in this one year, every draft that comes around, you're
18:45waiting for Chase Brown to get, you know, a second round pick added into his backfield.
18:50But the Bengals have so many holes in other places that they're just letting Chase Brown be their bell cow.
18:56And in a situation where bell cows are kind of hard to come by and ones that can be on down every single thing, every single down.
19:05Sorry. He's just a guy that seems like he gets forgotten about.
19:08I think if he was a sexier name, if he had been a first round draft pick previously, you know, I think
19:15he would be somebody that would be way higher up on on boards.
19:19He just had a 301 touches, almost 1500 scrimmage yards with 11 touchdowns total.
19:24And it's like, what are we waiting for to rate this guy as a really solid RB one?
19:29Right. So to me, like you said, it's partially priced.
19:32Like if I can go, you know, a running back, then a wide receiver and maybe I'm at the turn and I
19:39can get Chase Brown early in the third or I go wide receiver right early.
19:44And Chase Brown is my RB one. I'm completely happy with that.
19:48Right. And that's exactly why I'm interested in him as a ride or die.
19:52Yeah, that makes a ton of sense. I mean, an underdog up here, it looks like he's going in the early second
19:59round, which kind of makes a ton of sense.
20:02I feel like that's where I would expect him to go.
20:05But I think I heard in a lot of redraft circles that he is going at that like two, three turn right, right around there.
20:13Underdog is obviously a little bit different beast there, but I love the call.
20:17I mean, Chase Brown, like you said, just severely underrated for for all time.
20:22Right. I mean, he plays for a great offense.
20:24He plays the bell cow role. He's getting high value touches.
20:28You know, there's a statue for a quarterback behind him and Joe Burrow that wants to dump the ball off.
20:34You got a bunch of great players around him that are taking the heat off of him.
20:39So opening up lanes to get him there. It's not like the offensive line is anything crazy to write home about, but it doesn't have to be.
20:48I mean, how many catches did he get last year?
20:51It was it was pretty crazy. Right. If we look at 69.
20:55Yeah. Very nice. Very nice. 69 receptions. I think a lot of those came from Joe Flacco, too, if I'm not mistaken.
21:02That's kind of when he heated up. He got off to a really slow start last year.
21:07I remember being in on him last year and like through the first four weeks being like, what did I do?
21:13What are we going to do with Chase Brown?
21:16And it was, you know, you got to hold.
21:19What are you going to do? And then he finally came to life.
21:23And yeah, man, I mean, I think we're expecting more of the same thing here.
21:28I have heard one bull argument for him saying that Samaj P.
21:31Ryan was hurt last year and that he is obviously going to be more involved and steal touches away from him.
21:38So I'm curious on whether or not that comes to fruition or not.
21:42But Chase Brown is good. Just hashtag good at football.
21:45Look at these yards per carry, like just extremely efficient.
21:484.1, 4.3, 4.3. An average in his career, you know, of like a 4.3 somewhere around there for his yards per carry.
21:55So as long as he's getting the attempts, he's going to get it done.
22:00He's got double digit touchdowns over the last two years.
22:03I love the call, man. I am a little bit sad.
22:06I had him chosen in like the fifth round of our startup for the Dynasty Boogaloo.
22:11And I ended up trading him away because I needed a third quarterback.
22:15So I got a Baker Mayfield back for my Chase Brown and a little plus.
22:20Yeah, I mean, this is a call that I wish I had more action on.
22:24Like I do like to with these, you know, call outs, these sort of my guy sort of things have, you know, stake in the game.
22:33So it kind of reflects. I just haven't been able to acquire him.
22:37And I think people that have him kind of know what they have.
22:41Like if you're not a Chase Brown manager, he's not the guy that you play and you remember, dang, like Derrick Henry
22:48dropped 40 points on me in week 16. Like I hate Derrick Henry.
22:52He's so good. Like Chase Brown hasn't really done that.
22:55Although through the, you know, the back end, he won a lot of people leagues.
22:59He was a league winner down the last like three, four games where he caught a ton of those passes.
23:06So, yeah, man, I'm in even though I don't have a ton of shares, but he's definitely a guy that I'm very interested in.
23:13Yeah, no, I love it. What a great shout out.
23:16So let's get on here with my first ride or die.
23:20And that's going to be Emeka Egbuka of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
23:23Wide receiver one, one A, one B, whatever you want to call him.
23:28I think he's the wide receiver one. The locked in alpha target for Baker Mayfield.
23:32We saw it at the beginning of last season.
23:35He finished last season with 127 targets as a rookie, right?
23:38With a 23.6% target share in that offense. Yes, there were injuries.
23:42Mike Evans was out for a lot of the year.
23:45Chris Godwin was out for a lot of the year.
23:48Even Jalen McMillian was out for a lot of the year.
23:52They were riding with a lot of scrubs behind Emeka Egbuka, right?
23:56I think it was, oh man, I was just watching the quarterback series.
24:00And like the name came back up to me as we were talking about him on one of the previous episodes.
24:06Sterling Shepard was one of the guys that we were highlighting in best ball leagues last year as a waiver wire pickup
24:13because he was getting the target share. So Emeka Egbuka was the clear favorite to Baker Mayfield though.
24:19And not only that, he was doing a lot with it, right?
24:22I think he had a pretty high yards per route run.
24:26He was averaging, you know, 55.2 yards per game last year, which was not great.
24:31But that was after a big downturn of, you know, just a lot of nothing last year.
24:36On the later part of last year, he only caught six TDs, but a lot of those were front ended too, right?
24:43I think it was six TDs in like the first four games or five TDs, the first four games, something crazy like that.
24:50Two in the first game. I'll never forget that.
24:53He also ranked 15th in Yak among all wide receivers.
24:56Just proof that he can create after the catch.
24:59He's really good on the move, really great hands.
25:01We've seen him in, you know, camp make many one-handed catches, grabs on the run, and just continuing the route and making more out of it.
25:10One thing I wanted to call out, which I don't think gets enough attention here, just kind of highlights how bad things
25:16were in that offense, but yet his role was still defined, was he was ranked two in unrealized air yards last year with 959.
25:24And the unrealized air yards is just the number of air yards minus his, you know, reception yardage that he got.
25:30So meaning he's getting the elite deep volume, but it just isn't converting.
25:34And I also want to highlight that he was ranked 94th in catchable target rate, just a 57.5%.
25:40So I think those two things go hand in hand.
25:43He was getting targeted, but he just wasn't catchable.
25:46And I think that speaks to how injured Baker Mayfield was last year, right?
25:50As I was saying, I was watching that quarterback series.
25:53The dude was managing a PCL injury, an MCL injury.
25:57His bicep or his like tricep was like bruised, like almost like torn off.
26:01The dude was getting put back together weekly just to kind of roll back out there.
26:06Baker Mayfield's a dog. Like he's going to make it through it.
26:10And I think he was just more injured than we wanted to believe last year.
26:14So I don't think the later half of what we saw from Ibuka is what we're going to get.
26:20And on top of that, you're vacating Mike Evans, the, you know, the alpha dog that he was there.
26:26Where we're going to see Ibuka not in that X receiver slot or sorry, that X receiver position either.
26:32We're going to be seeing either like a Jalen McMillan or a Ted Hurst in that position.
26:37Ibuka is going to be running that Z position where he was most effective early on in the season.
26:43And I am bullish on Ibuka. And how I started thinking about who my ride or dies were is I started looking
26:50at all my past startups and all the redraft leagues I've done.
26:54I'm like, hey, who am I taking so often and everywhere?
26:57And Ibuka just kept coming up. I had almost zero Ibuka coming into this season.
27:02But I think now I have like a 30% share of Ibuka just because I've been taking him left and right.
27:09So that's how I knew Mecca Ibuka was my ride or die because I'm just in on who he is and what
27:16he's going to be for this offense. And I think this is probably the lowest you're going to get in on him for future years.
27:23Yeah, I agree. I mean, we've talked about it on the show a few times.
27:28If the season was flipped and he started out slow like rookies are supposed to and then, you know, had those awesome six games towards the end.
27:36Like, where would he be going right now? He'd definitely be way higher up on dynasty rankings.
27:42And I think he'd definitely be, you know, much higher on the draft board.
27:46I think he's going right. Like in for redraft most circles, like the fourth round, middle of the fourth round, like into the fifth round.
27:54You know, I think he'd easily be above like Tee Higgins, above Tett, above Devontae Smith.
27:59Like, I think he'd be very much, you know, up in those rankings for redraft and much higher dynasty value.
28:05My biggest concern is another offensive coordinator change for Baker.
28:08He's survived all of them. He's with, I think, Zach Robinson, who came over from the Rams or no, sorry, the Falcons.
28:15But he was with Baker when he was with the Rams.
28:19Like, how are they going to use Ibuka? I would love for him to be more of like a seedy lamb type player.
28:26He's not super big, but he's a very good route runner.
28:29He runs, you know, he's explosive. So in the slot, in the X, in the Y, you know, everywhere.
28:35Like, we put him everywhere, use him. It'll be interesting with Godwin, who Baker seems to have a really good rapport with, how that pie gets divided up.
28:44But besides Godwin, who's not super old, but he's coming off a pretty major injury, how that pie gets divided.
28:50But I definitely am with you that I think Ibuka is way much lower in terms of where you have to draft
28:57him, like, around some of those other players. Like, I think he has much higher ceiling than any of the other ones because we saw it already, right?
29:06We saw it for, you know, a third of a season.
29:09For sure. He feels like a locked-in wide receiver one for me as, like, a median outcome.
29:14But he's going as, like, the wide receiver, you know, like a wide receiver 23, I want to say.
29:20A lot of times is where he's going. I mean, in ADP, he's at the end of the second round.
29:27So maybe not quite wide receiver 23. But I bet in some of your drafts, you're getting him there.
29:32Or they're saying he was the wide receiver 23 last year.
29:36So maybe it's closer to that than we thought.
29:39So I don't know. He's going from what I'm seeing from, like, the redraft side.
29:43It seems like he's going as, like, a very solid wide receiver 2.
29:47So, like, around the 17, 18 mark. So, I mean, if the median outcome is six to seven spots ahead of that,
29:54like, you're going to beat your, you know, you're going to crush if he's your pick.
29:59I think the biggest thing is he has to stay healthy and Baker has to stay healthy and play well.
30:06I mean, Baker seems like he's going to be one of those players that definitely plays with a chip on his shoulder like we know.
30:13And he feels disrespected by the Bucs. So, you know, he's going to do everything he can to light it up as
30:20much as he can to go get as big of a bag of money from somewhere else if he has to.
30:27So I think that will all play into it.
30:30Yeah, 100%, man. All right. Let's move on here to your next ride or die.
30:34Yeah. Yeah. So I'm going to take another swing.
30:37I think last year I did this with a pass catcher in Buffalo and I was severely let down.
30:43So I'm going to go with the new shiny toy that they have up there in Buffalo to go with their new shiny.
30:50I don't know if some people don't think it's such a great stadium, but if you've been following the memes.
30:56But it's going to be DJ Moore. I think this is the perfect time to buy into the dip like you're coming
31:03off his worst career year with the Bears. And it's just a situation of like, was it the system or was it,
31:10you know, did DJ Moore suddenly kind of forget how to play football?
31:14Right. He's in Buffalo now with Josh Allen. The Bills traded us 22nd, 26 second round pick for more.
31:20So not nothing. They clearly want to invest in him and they signed Kelly Oshakir to a bag.
31:26But apart from that, they didn't really do very much else with the wide receiver room.
31:31It's some more of the same. So I think you're really going to be able to get him at a discount in most drafts.
31:38I think right now in most redraft formats, he's going into the fifth start of the sixth.
31:43He's going as like the wide receiver 25. So not even as a wide receiver, too.
31:48That's how kind of bad people seem to be ranking him as.
31:52And I mean, like, did did I think a lot of people forgot who DJ Moore was?
31:58Like, I don't think DJ Moore has ever been, you know, an elite top five wide receiver.
32:03But I mean, he's had five years, I think it was, of 1100 yard seasons.
32:08Right. You're talking about in 24, he had 98 catches for 966 yards, six touchdowns and 23, 96 catches for 1300 yards and eight touchdowns.
32:15And I was playing with Justin Fields, I believe there in.
32:19In in Chicago. Right. And then in when he barely had a quarterback right in.
32:23Where was he before? The Panthers. Sorry. Carolina. He also posted a thousand yard seasons.
32:28Right. So I think the simple question to ask is, like, did DJ Moore forget how to play wide receiver at the age of 28 in 2025?
32:37Or was it just the environment and the terrible like his terrible fantasy prediction that he had because he was sharing?
32:43I mean, if you look at what's left there in Chicago now, we're talking about a tight end one, a wide receiver
32:50one, another wide receiver one and a running back two.
32:53Right. With Caleb Williams being a quarterback one. So the competition is very stiff in terms of, you know, the targets and all that stuff.
33:01So and I think the year before that, Keenan Allen was there who took up a ton of targets, too.
33:07Right. So I just think that the environment has completely changed.
33:11And I'm betting on the environment of playing with one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
33:16Right. I think there's also a little bit of an interesting reunion that I haven't heard a ton of people talk about it.
33:23I haven't heard a ton of people talk about DJ Moore, but he's real reuniting with Joe Brady, who coached him in Carolina.
33:30So Brady is now the guy who's running the offense there.
33:34And when he was with him in Carolina, DJ Moore saw a great, you know, pretty good target share.
33:40He had three eleven hundred yard seasons there. So I think everybody's just remembering that he only had 682 yards.
33:46And and when that happens in the draft, I love that.
33:49I love picking DJ Moore later on in drafts as a as a second or third wide receiver, because I think he
33:56has the ceiling to really pop into a wide receiver one.
34:00Sorry. And yeah, so that's pretty much it. I mean, he's catching passes from Josh Allen.
34:04And if you want to let one bad years kind of scare you away from that upside, then be my guest.
34:11I think I'll take the discount on him all day.
34:14Yeah, I mean, we saw in preseason to like how good it could be.
34:19Right. I think he would, you know, three catches for 65 yards right out the gate or something crazy like that with.
34:25And it was on like five targets, too. I want to say if I can remember correctly, maybe don't quote me on that.
34:33But yeah. And thankfully, it was looking like it might have been a serious ankle injury, but it's everything is coming out
34:39of saying that it's a mile to, you know, barely anything ankle sprain.
34:43So that's really good news, too. Yeah, for sure.
34:46Really good news. So we've we know he's good.
34:49We've seen him be good. It was the dip in production we saw last year was seemingly more situation based than it
34:56was, you know, a drop off or him declining.
34:59I mean, he's still fairly young, too. I mean, like 29 is not super old for a wide receiver when you have,
35:06you know, Mike Evans playing at 34 and Devonta Adams playing at 34.
35:10You know, like these guys, these wide receivers can play deep into their career.
35:14Right. So I still think he's got probably a couple of good years left here.
35:19And yeah, I mean, like you said, in the fifth round, it's even better.
35:23And dynasty, you're getting him in the seventh round and dynasty.
35:27There's a lot that you can do to get these kind of guys after you've stacked your roster with running backs and
35:33all the other positions you need to get yourself into a contending spot here.
35:38So I love the call out. I'm banking on him in a couple of leagues.
35:42So DJ Moore, hopefully you can put it together here and be Josh Allen's one and a really good one at that.
35:49Yeah, 100 percent. I mean, for dynasty sakes, if you know, for whatever reason, he's kind of still been stuck on your roster and you're rebuilding or retooling.
35:58I think this is a perfect year where there was some hype for the trade and then it kind of quelled.
36:05But if he comes out and has, you know, a decent season or a very good season, you definitely have an opportunity
36:11to sell back into kind of that higher end, maybe approaching a first or, you know, I think for sure you can get a second for him now.
36:20But, you know, if he has a good season, you can definitely get a little bit more than that halfway through.
36:27Yeah. What do you think is a good season for DJ Moore?
36:30Right. Like, give me what you think his medium outcome is and then how high do you think he could go, you know, on a ceiling outcome?
36:39Yeah. I mean, I think I think if he gets, you know, the 130, you know, like in that range of targets,
36:46I think you're looking at an 1100, 1200 yard season.
36:49And then the ceiling then comes with the touchdowns, right?
36:52Like how many of those is he able to catch?
36:55If he gets it to the double digits, then your wheels up.
36:59But I think you don't even need to wait for that.
37:02I think like three, four games in if it's looking like DJ Moore is going to be the guy like he has
37:09like a game like preseason where he plays the rest.
37:12You know, the rest of that preseason game catches three more balls as 120 yards and a touchdown in a couple of those games.
37:20I don't think he needs to do anything crazy to really boost his appeal to contending managers.
37:25Right. Some people that might be scared from that last season, like I was talking about, as soon as he kind of
37:32shows, hey, with Josh Allen, he's a different, you know, he's back to the DJ Moore.
37:37I think you could easily sell and flip that for a first, you know, after three or four good games.
37:43I think ceiling, I think a wide back end wide receiver one or a very solid wide receiver two.
37:49And right now in redraft, he's not even a wide receiver two numbers.
37:53So, you know, that would be a great return on your pick.
37:57You think that's a good medium outcome is just like a middle to low end wide receiver two?
38:03Yeah. I mean, I think wide receiver like 14, 15 would be pretty like if he stays healthy and plays all games,
38:09I have a hard time seeing him not in that range.
38:13It's just, you know, who's Josh Allen throwing the ball to?
38:16I mean, they don't hyper focus a guy, but also they haven't had a guy to hyper focus since Diggs.
38:22So, you know, can DJ Moore be that guy?
38:25Yeah. Good point. Hopefully. I mean, hopefully either that or I mean, it's got to be Dalton Kincaid or someone, right?
38:32Someone's got to step up there. Either that or James Cook is just again, the rushing leader on the year, right?
38:38Yeah. All right. Let's take a quick break here and we'll catch you guys on the other side.
38:44We'll give you our last three ride or dies on the end side of this.
38:49Football is back, baby. And whether you've been betting for years, you're just looking to put a little action on the games.
38:56My bookie needs to be added to your list of places to go line shopping.
39:00We've been talking about the teams we like and don't like for months.
39:04We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody.
39:07And we're terrified of this Falcons offense. Even though you got Bijan, you got Kyle Pitts, you got Drake London.
39:14But you got two bad left-handed quarterbacks. And you certainly don't need to be telling some fake betting expert on social media.
39:20Go to my bookie and find the plays you already know you like and take a shot.
39:26That's what's cool about my bookie. You can find the action you want and bet it wherever you are when the game kicks off.
39:33And if you're new to the club, the bet back bonus gives you protection on your first play.
39:39Sign up with promo code PLAYER to opt into the bet back bonus and take your first shot with a safety net.
39:46If your wager loses, you get it right back.

39:59You're welcome. All right. Welcome back. Let's get in to the last of our ride or dies here.
40:05I'm going to lead off here with my second ride or die.
40:09It is the newest running back for the Houston Texans, David Montgomery, coming over from the Detroit Lions, where he was traded for what?
40:16Like a second round pick? I want to say something like that.
40:20Is that what the trade was? Do you remember?
40:23No, I don't. Look it up real quick if you want to roll into your...
40:27Yeah. Why don't you go ahead and do that?
40:30I'm going to pull it up. Him on the player profiler here.
40:34He had 158 carries for 716 yards with the Lions last year, where he kind of took more of the backseat to Jameer Gibbs in the 2025 season.
40:43He had 4.5 yards per carry still and 8 rushing touchdowns.
40:46And although he dipped in efficiency, you know, he only had like 19% missed tackles force, which was down from 30% nearly in 2024.
40:53But he still maintained, you know, a 4.5 yards per carry, which is really impressive.
40:58And I don't know, maybe you want to attribute that to the offensive line for the Detroit Lions, which is also pretty beefy.
41:05I think he's still got it. I think he's going to be playing with a chip on his shoulder.
41:11I think he always wanted to be the guy.
41:14But it was just too crowded, right? Jameer Gibbs is that guy.
41:18Like you can't really outshine him. And when you need as many points as the Lions are putting up, Gibbs is just going to be the go-to guy.
41:27Monty wanted, I think he even asked for the trade because he wanted to be the guy, right?
41:32So I think when Houston brought him in, it's a really good fit for him.
41:37They need someone that they can rely on to get the grinding yards.
41:41Four and a half yards per carry. If he can get that in Houston, Houston's going to be really good this year.
41:48Not necessarily good because they're going to be good for fantasy.
41:51And CJ Stroud's going to be lighting it up, tossing for, you know, 45 touchdowns.
41:56But good in the sense that they have a really great defense.
42:00And they're just going to be able to grind the games away with David Montgomery barreling along.
42:05I honestly think he could get 300 touches this year.
42:08More than 300 touches. I think it's in the realm of possibility here that he gets north of 350 touches.
42:14I don't think that's plausible, but I do think 300 plus is very easily done.
42:19And if he does that with four and a half yards per carry, we are wheels up for David Montgomery, right?
42:25I mean, what is that? That's almost 1,500 rushing yards.
42:29And on top of that, he's one of the favorites when you look at the betting market for double-digit touchdowns.
42:35He is incredible around the goal line. So if you can put up 150 points just on rushing yardage and then another
42:4260 points from touchdowns, that's 210 points. I think his floor is 12 points per game in this.
42:47And if you give him any kind of receiving work, he could definitely spike to 15 points per game and be an RB1 this season.
42:55And he's super cheap. Go ahead. Yeah, yeah. Oh, I was just going to jump in.
43:00The trade was an old lineman named Juice Scruggs.
43:03A 26-4th and a 27-7th. So not the craziest value.
43:06I don't know that lineman if he's a starter or what.
43:09But it was also kind of crazy to see the Texans trading away linemen when that's like their biggest need.
43:16Yeah, that was crazy. They didn't really solve that problem either.
43:19But that's okay. I don't necessarily think that they need to.
43:23But again, super cheap. He is around the RB 25-27.
43:26In Dynasty, he's a 27, which you're getting in the 8th round for Dynasty.
43:30And he's the RB 25, which you're getting around the 5th round for Redraft.
43:34In both of those cases, he is like the absolute last of a tier.
43:39Right? Like he's the firewall before you start getting into guys that are either A, in committees, or B, unproven.
43:45To me, when it gets to this part and I still need that running back 2 or that flex spot because I've been doing that hero build.
43:53He's the perfect plug-in to get me for that hero build.
43:57Especially 2 when it comes to Dynasty best ball and you need 4 or 5 running backs.
44:02He's one of my favorite guys just to add on as that last running back.
44:07Knowing that he's going to get me 5 or 6 starts this season in my running back spot.
44:12And probably more than that in my flex spot.
44:15I think he is... He could be a genuine steal at this draft cost that you're getting him at here.
44:22If you are building your team correctly around targeting a guy like this, it's him and DeAndre Swift for me.
44:28These are the 2 guys that I want in this range.
44:31If I need that last RB for that flex player or not.
44:35These are the guys that I'm going to. They're not flashy.
44:38They're not sexy by any means. But they're most definitely putting points in your lineup.
44:43Which is going to help you fulfill the minimum points you need so that you can dominate in those other positions.
44:50Which you spent high capital on getting them in there.
44:53David Montgomery is not by any means going to be the reason you win your league.
44:58But he will be a pivotal role to get your roster in position so that you can win your league.
45:04What do you think about this man? I don't know how you feel about David Montgomery.
45:09We haven't talked too much about him. Yeah, I mean, I think he's kind of flown under the radar.
45:15But I think if you're speaking in redraft terms, he's definitely one of those dead zone running backs that it pops.
45:21We get it every year. It's like the dead zone for running backs.
45:25But there's always a guy or two that escapes and really has a lot of value.
45:30I think he definitely is. The biggest concern is you said that they didn't fix their O-line.
45:36I do think that's a big deal for him.
45:39And just the offense in general. If CJ Stroud goes out there and continues to play as bad as he did, he's
45:45just not going to have the ability to get those double-digit touchdowns.
45:49Because they're just not going to have those drives.
45:52And you could see the Texans winning with one touchdown and two or three field goals.
45:57And their defense just not letting anybody score. Which gives Montgomery the chance to just have those garbage time and pile up
46:04the yards at the end of games, running games out.
46:07Which is a thing. It's just if the offense doesn't improve, it's going to be hard for him to get down there.
46:14Because he's not that explosive Gibbs where any touch that he gets, he could house it.
46:19That's not really his style of running. So that's my only concern there.
46:23I definitely think that if Woody Marks is not a guy that they want to continue to use and eats away any
46:30of the work, David Munger could definitely be up for that sort of workload.
46:34And I think it would be very interesting. How does that timeshare play out?
46:38I haven't heard too much about it. I haven't heard really any news of what is Woody Marks doing?
46:44Is he even involved? If not, and it's all going to be David Montgomery, then yeah.
46:49I mean, I think it's like you said, a complete steal in terms of the range that you're getting him and the price you have to pay.
46:58Even if you're in a dynasty league, like I don't think anybody's going to hold your feet to the fire for David
47:05Montgomery for more than like two thirds or a second.
47:08And maybe you get a third kickback like a David Montgomery and a third for a second as a contender.
47:14If I need an extra running back, I'm probably doing that all day.
47:18You know, so I definitely think he's those type of guys that we talk about, right?
47:23Like last year's Javante Williams, like those sorts of players, like you come into the season and everybody's like, oh, Baham, David Montgomery.
47:30And then he puts up a running back one and it's not super special.
47:35It's not, you know, Saquon Barkley breaking the NFL's record or close to it or anything like that.
47:40But it's just so much value that you can get out of something that, you know, a lot of people don't seem to be that interested in.
47:49Shoot. If the Texans are as good as the Cowboys were last year, then we are going to get this year's Javante Williams.
47:56I'm not super high that that's going to happen, but you never know that that definitely could be in the cards here.
48:03But I think, like I said, if you can get 12 points per game out of him and be drafting him in
48:10the fifth after you've already taken your hero RB and then two solid wide receivers, and maybe you even got one of
48:16those top tier tight ends or you just stacked an early flex spot.
48:20I think David Montgomery is going to be a more than fine fill-in to, you know, rival what you would be where
48:27you'd be drafting like, I don't know, like Chase Brown or something like that, right?
48:32Like, I don't think he's going to be putting you too much in the hole here where he can make up at
48:39least 80% of the difference between what's going on there any given week.
48:43So, all right, man, that's all I got for David Montgomery here.
48:47Why don't you kick us off with your last ride or die here?
48:51Yeah, so, I mean, for me, it's going to be a quarterback.
48:54It's going to be Bo Nix for the Broncos.
48:57I think he's a boring fantasy quarterback with a huge upside.
49:01Like, I think a lot of people, you know, they were really hype.
49:05And then I feel like the second season, he didn't really take a step forward, but he stayed very consistent and people kind of docked him for that.
49:14And it's like, well, he was quarterback seven both years.
49:17Like, how is that, you know, a thing to hold your nose at, right?
49:21So his rookie and sophomore years were very consistent.
49:24And I know one of the biggest things, especially for like NFL-wise, his accuracy, right, is something that people harp on.
49:30But in terms of what he's been able to do with fantasy with it, like, what if it gets better, right?
49:37Like, obviously, if it continues, he continues to struggle, that's a problem.
49:41But Sean Payton has shown confidence in him. He's not afraid to let him throw the ball.
49:46He's gone 567 attempts as a rookie to 612 in year two.
49:50So even though the metrics of his accuracy haven't necessarily gone up, Sean Payton is continuing to let him, you know, sling the ball.
49:57And the rushing isn't theoretical, right? It's kind of baked in.
50:01It's not crazy Lamar numbers, but it's, you know, very consistent in terms of how much rushing he gives you and also with the touchdowns.
50:08So you've got the rushing floor. You got the volume in terms of pass attempts.
50:13So any meaningful improvement to, you know, his passer ability, his accuracy gives you another path to upset, right?
50:19It just springboards him into another category. Obviously, you don't need him to be prime Mahomes or that sort of level.
50:26But any sort of like, you know, noticeable increase in his ability to throw a more accurate pass or just be more
50:32on time with his receivers takes him to another jump.
50:36Or now he's throwing for 4000 plus and maybe 30 plus touchdowns.
50:39Right. So I think it's just he's around the quarterback 15.
50:43Right. He's like, I think, towards in redraft towards like the 10th, 11th round, if I remember when I looked it up correctly.
50:50And I think that's just a great place to take a swing on a quarterback.
50:55All the other guys are gone. The guys that you're left with there right around there are like Jared Goff, Baker, Jordan Love, Kyler Murray.
51:02Like, you know, I think if you're OK taking a quarterback a little bit earlier than like the last round of your
51:09redraft, I think it's a great spot for it because you still have the upside.
51:14Like if you draft him as the quarterback 15 and he finishes as the quarterback seven again or even improves a little
51:21bit and goes up into the quarterback, you know, top five.
51:24You know, you've gotten a huge deal, I think, on your quarter on your quarterback.
51:29So, you know, I don't think it takes a ton for that to happen.
51:33He could stay as Kassin as he's been for two years.
51:37Right. It hasn't been a CJ Stroud where it was really high and then really low.
51:42He stayed, you know, pretty much even keel and he could just improve slightly.
51:46I think you have that ability to really go into another level in terms of what he can give you for fantasy.
51:53Right. So I'll take 600 attempts, 3,800 plus passing yards, 350 to 400 rushing yards and four or five rushing touchdowns.
51:59And I've already got like a regular QB one.
52:02Right. Right. So if like it jumps even a little bit in terms of his performance, now you're talking about like a league winning sort of upside.
52:11Right. So that's why it's Bo Nix. I'm not super bullish that it can happen, but he feels like a safe pick,
52:18but also one that has a lot of upside.
52:20No, for sure. And like you said, like in the ninth round of a redraft, there's a ton of late round quarterbacks that I like this year.
52:29Bo Nix is one of them. Did we even mention that he got an upgrade to his wide receiver one with Jalen Waddle?
52:36No, I did not bring that up. I mean, yeah, we got to talk about that.
52:41Right. Jalen Waddle has got to be an upgrade over.
52:44I mean, it was Cortland Sutton, I guess. But now Cortland Sutton is now replacing, you know, Mims and Franklin.
52:50So huge upgrade to the pass catching core in general.
52:53Right. Like he's he's and I hear too in camp that he's going to he's got a better connection with his deep
53:00ball, which is kind of crazy because I thought he had a good deep ball in previous years.
53:06Right. I think him and Mims were the ones that were always connecting.
53:10And, you know, like at least in his his first year, I remember that happening quite a bit in the second year.
53:17He took a lot of shots. They just didn't really connect on them.
53:21So if he can have any kind of explosion with, you know, those deep balls like that, I think especially in this
53:28offense where they're looking to to call those plays pretty, pretty frequently.
53:31He's got he's got a ton of upside and I like it.
53:35And like you said, he's got some rushing bait, you know, baked into it.
53:40He feels a lot like a Brock Purdy to me is what it feels like.
53:44Yeah, 100 percent. Yeah. All right. Well, I'm going to follow suit here and I'm going to go quarterback as well.
53:51And the quarterback that I wanted to talk about is Jaden Daniels, because he's coming off that injury riddled 2025 season where.
53:58Just couldn't stay healthy. It was, you know, first I think it was his knee and then it was his elbow and then it was his elbow again.
54:06And then he eventually got shut down. I think he ended up only playing, I want to say, like eight games.
54:13Is it was that what it was? Let me let me go down to on the player profiler here.
54:19We can we can figure that out. Seven games total where he had one hundred and eighty eight pass attempts for only twelve hundred and sixty two yards.
54:28He had two hundred and seventy eight rushing yards, rushing eight times per game.
54:32That's crazy for your running back is running eight times per game.
54:36What an incredible floor that is for your running back.
54:39He's going as the quarterback five, both in dynasty and in redraft.
54:43He can finish as the QB one here. And it just feels like we forgot that he can do that.
54:49Like it doesn't make a ton of sense to me why we have like a Joe Burrow going over him.
54:55Like I can I can understand, you know, like the Drake May and, you know, Lamar Jackson even.
55:01But really, like Lamar Jackson and Jaden Daniels feel very similar bets, especially in dynasty.
55:05But you're getting probably what I mean. We're talking about five years back in age with Jaden Daniels.
55:11And I don't know, maybe people are just scared about the injury concerns with him, whatnot.
55:16I don't play that way. I don't play scared.
55:19I know this guy is good. I've seen him be good.
55:22It was one season where he was injured and out for most of the season.
55:27It's not like he played bad when he was in there.
55:30He still played very, very well. This dude is electric.
55:33I don't see any reason to fade him here.
55:36And like I said, more than eight times per game.
55:39That's just a cheat code. 2026 is not off to a great start.
55:43We lost his left tackle, Laramie Tunsil. I think it was his bicep or something.
55:48Something got ripped off. It wasn't good. He's not coming back this year.
55:52But he did gain Stefan Diggs and Chigo Conquo.
55:55I do expect the rushing efficiency for the commanders to take a hit here with no left tackle, Laramie Tunsil.
56:01But that can mean more passing and scrambling for Jaden Daniels here.
56:05He's also just an incredible discount, right? Like I said, he's the QB5 in both these.
56:10I think when you're getting him in redraft, you're getting him around the fifth round.
56:15If you can nail down those top two running backs and top two wide receivers for your team and then go back
56:21and pick a quarterback that could be the wide receiver one on the season, sign me up.
56:27But I'm less bullish on Jaden Daniels in redraft.
56:30I'm more bullish on him in Superflex Dynasty because I'm getting him at the end of the first.
56:35That is an incredible value. And I seem to click his name way too many times.
56:40And that's how I found out that he was my ride or die here.
56:45What do you say about this, man? Yeah, I mean, I think it would be an amazing accomplishment if Jaden Daniels finished as the wide receiver one.
56:53Did I say wide receiver? Yes, but it's okay.
56:56Yeah, I mean, I'm glad he's the sixth player we're talking about and not the fifth because, you know, we probably got a hit with a lawsuit there.
57:05Stop it. Stop it. But no, I mean, I think it's definitely a risky play in terms of redraft.
57:10He's definitely not like I think I don't even want Josh Allen.
57:14Like I know how good Josh Allen is. But in redraft, I'm just like this year feels like we're really, really back
57:21to the late round quarterback because it just doesn't feel like as much an advantage.
57:26And maybe in the season we'll get proven wrong.
57:29I think in Superflex and in Dynasty, I think definitely it's where it could pay off way more.
57:34Like if he has a good season, you're talking about him probably in the top three.
57:39He probably takes out Lamar and he's in there with Drake May and Josh Allen next year.
57:44So you could have a very, you know, increase in value there for Dynasty.
57:49And injuries were not really hit. Like, you know, a lot of people talk about him and like Dart and like they
57:56kind of just run and it's, you know, they're not being careful.
57:59I mean, the elbow thing was just a freak injury that could literally happen to anybody.
58:04He was getting tackled and his arm, you know, went Gumby style.
58:08And I mean, I don't I never understood why they rushed him back.
58:12That felt like a really weird thing for them to do.
58:16But apart from that, like I think. It's just a big gamble in redraft that I'm not willing to take.
58:22That's the only part that I probably have more of a pushback on.
58:26But apart from that, I do think that a lot of people kind of forgot how good Jaden Daniels was on that in that rookie season.
58:34But for sure, I get that. Right. I mean, a fifth round price tag is is not nothing.
58:40Like when you're talking about getting like a DJ Moore or a David Montgomery in the fifth round, like I totally get that.
58:47Like it's a lot, especially when we like all the late round QBs.
58:51But there is asymmetrical upside here with this type of player that you're not getting with like a Bo Nix or Brock Purdy or even a Malik Willis.
59:00Like I think Malik Willis is a fine dart throw as a late round quarterback because he's got that rushing upside.
59:06But Jaden Daniels is that type of guy that could put up 700 rushing yards, throw for 30 touchdowns and rush for another six.
59:14He is on a good offense in a good division with there's going to be a lot of explosive matchups.
59:20Like I said, asymmetrical upside. This could be the guy that if you have him on your team, he is going to
59:27be winning you your league because you have him on your team.
59:31And again, you're getting them after you've already locked in your top four players on your team.
59:36I get it. It is risky. And like I said, I like him better in Dynasty because just the price tag you're
59:43getting on him for this type of quarterback as a Dynasty asset just feels like like this is a once in a
59:50lifetime thing that it's not going to come back like this in the next couple of seasons with him being like that.
59:56So. Yeah, I mean, I think it's especially, you know, if you if you're going to go quarterback in like the redraft
60:03in those kind of middle rounds, I definitely, you know, I'll pay up a round to go to Daniels instead of some
60:10of the other guys like he's with Jalen Hurts.
60:13He's around Caleb Williams, Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow like Joe Burrow is probably the only other one there that could finish, you know, QB one overall.
60:21But you're banking on something that doesn't happen very often, which is like 5000 yards and like 40 plus touchdowns.
60:28Jaden Daniels team could be trash. He could throw for like 20 touchdowns and he could still be the QB one if
60:34he rushes for like 800 yards and 10. You know what I'm saying?
60:39So I definitely agree in that circumstance, like if you are there and you're thinking about going quarterback in rounds like five
60:45through seven, then I'm paying up and, you know, passing up on Carnot, Tate, Roma, Dunze, Christian Watson to get a Jaden Daniels.
60:53And then, you know, I'll fill in that that position, you know, in the sixth or seventh round instead of going like
60:59a Caleb Williams or a Justin Herbert or something like that.
61:03I just think the path for him to do what you're talking about and break fantasy is a lot easier.
61:09Yeah, for sure. For sure. For sure. All right, man.
61:12I think that's all we got for our ride or dies here.
61:16Are you ready for the season, bro? Like I'm I am definitely not ready.
61:20Like I did one of my first keeper drops today and I did a couple of mocks beforehand.
61:26I'm like, I don't even know who to pick right here.
61:29Like I like I said, I ended up taking David Montgomery in that draft.
61:34That's what I was like, man, I'm into David Montgomery.
61:37Like he's got to be a ride or die for me.
61:40You were like, how do I nominate? When's my next nomination?
61:44Like where's my future first to trade away? Like what is happening here?
61:48You know? Yeah. I mean, it's it's fun, man.
61:51I mean, to me, football season coincides right with the start of fall, which is like my favorite because, you know, very
61:57quickly it leads into winter and Christmas. So, I mean, we're getting into the Burr months.
62:02I think for a lot of people, this is just a lot of, you know, excitement and fun times in terms of like just life in general.
62:11So, yeah, I'm really ready. I mean, my son, he's been into football.
62:15He's sending me memes about like, oh, when when the Sunday sounds like this and it's like, you know, the guy from
62:22Red Zone talking about this and, you know, there's wings on the table and, you know, all that sort of stuff.
62:28So, yeah, man, I can't wait. The NFL offseason is always so dang long that when it gets here, it's just like
62:35a great, you know, time to to be alive, I guess.
62:39It is. It is. And, yeah, I'm ready for football to be happening and for my 49ers to get that one overall pick.
62:46The 101. The 101. So they can drive to Smith and he can get hurt.
62:50No. No, don't get hurt. Oh, I mean, we didn't talk about this.
62:55We could maybe throw it on the back here.
62:57But, I mean, this is spooky 2024 vibes from your boy CMC.
63:01Like, we're going to learn that he lost a foot in a couple weeks here.
63:06Like, I don't. I am very worried. Yeah, just tightness, man.
63:09Like, soon he's going to be on a private jet over.
63:13Lower body soreness. When you don't get a clear report from the 49ers about what's going on, especially for a guy like
63:20CMC, I think everybody should be worried. For sure, dude.
63:23Like, and I was tooting the horn earlier that I think he's due for regression and that the decline is starting.
63:29But he might very well catch 100 passes again this year.
63:33So that take might be out the window. If he's on the field, let's see.
63:37Yeah, let's see. Let's see if he's on the field.
63:40All right, man. Let's hit the intro here. Thanks, everyone, for tuning in.

64:47We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody.
64:51And we're terrified of this Falcons offense. Even though you got Bijan, you got Kyle Pitts, you got Drake London.
64:57But you got two bad left-handed quarterbacks. And you certainly don't need to be telling some fake betting expert on social media.
65:04Go to my bookie and find the plays you already know you like and take a shot.
