1:00Mike, give us your first pick for a guy who is breaking out in training camp right now.
1:05Yeah, what I love is being able to look at guys in Dynasty in February, right?
1:09And we start to assess situations and we're starting to look at, you know, what are some areas where we can look
1:15at where a guy's going to break out? And a guy that I had on my list from day one was Jonathan Brooks.
1:21Jonathan Brooks was a guy that, you know, we looked at it and the ADP was starting out about 100.
1:26Now it's getting up into the 70s and people are starting to catch up a little bit.
1:30But I still think the value is fantastic. A guy that just two years ago, you know, coming out of Texas was my RB1 of that class.
1:37Looked phenomenal. 1100 rushing yards, 6.1 yards per carry, almost 300 receiving yards.
1:41And he's a true three down workhorse type back.
1:43He finally looks healthy. You know, tore that ACL twice, which is just I was so excited when he came back last
1:49year and then tore it really early. But Chuba Hubbard struggled last year.
1:52Rico Dowdle really took over the role and now Rico's gone.
1:55And I think Jonathan Brooks now gets an opportunity in training camp when Chuba himself gets injured.
2:00And I think Jonathan Brooks is going to take control of his job and the Carolina offense, very good offensive line, very
2:06good play calling, predicated on the run. I think Jonathan Brooks is due for, you know, one of those guys you draft
2:11in round seven, eight that could be your league winner as a top 12 running back.
2:16I can just feel Melo's smile from miles and miles away right now hearing you talk about Jonathan Brooks.
2:21Speaking my language, I'm like almost disappointed that people have caught on and like his dynasty price is up and his ADP in redraft is up.
2:27But it's still worthwhile to me. Like I'm still drafting him in redraft.
2:31I'm still looking to trade for him in dynasty.
2:33The other thing too is like unlucky break for Chuba, but great for Jonathan Brooks.
2:37Like Chuba has not been healthy throughout camp. He's dealing with, I believe, a hamstring injury.
2:41Jonathan Brooks is getting every opportunity to take this job, not only off talent alone, but just off the fact that he's the one playing with the ones.
2:49He's the one actually practicing and healthy, which is the very thing he has not been through two years.
2:54So the opportunity is looking beautiful right now. Yeah, Melo.
2:56I'm so glad you brought that up because something that I've noticed is there's been the rumors now that like he will be ready for week one.
3:04But I think people are acting like Chuba Hubbard just has this chokehold on the job and like, oh, if he's good
3:09to go, he's just going to have it. Meanwhile, Jonathan Brooks has been getting that work with the ones.
3:14He's been impressing. He's been, as we're saying, exploding at training camp.
3:18And to me, I don't think it's just so clear cut that Chuba Hubbard is going to come back from injury and take his job back.
3:24Yeah. And I love what I love what Melo said there is like, you want to have your guys.
3:29Right. And like Jonathan Brooks was a guy that I was touting in February.
3:33And it's like people end up catching up and you're like, stop.
3:36You know, like I know we're we're an echo chamber and they understand that these are the players that we've been on.
3:42But I think you're right. I mean, Chuba Hubbard, he struggled at times last year.
3:46Chuba Hubbard is not a guy with elite draft capital like Jonathan Brooks.
3:49He's not a guy with an elite profile like Jonathan Brooks, but he's played well.
3:53Last year, he struggled. And I think this year is the year where we see Jonathan Brooks.
3:58And there's so many guys. I mean, I put them in that Jonathan Brooks, Kyle Monungay and Blake Corum to me are league winners.
4:04Like they're one injury away from that other guy, that complimentary piece, whatever you think the 1A, 1A, B is in those
4:10situations from absolutely smashing this year and being top 12 upside players.
4:13I could not agree more. And I'm going to shift gears now from a running back to a receiver who has done it before.
4:19And that is A.J. Brown being ranked at about the wide receiver 20 and dynasty wide receiver 8 and redraft going at about 20th overall.
4:26I've been so excited about him all offseason or at least since he was traded to New England.
4:31And now we have this camp hype that I have to address.
4:34And I'm very excited to address because every report out of New England has been he has been dominating.
4:39This has especially come to light since their joint practices with his former team, the Eagles.
4:43Every Patriots reporter has had so much praise as he's apparently been dominating the Eagles, or at least he did last week when they had those joint practices.
4:50On their second day, he caught all four of his four targets against Quinion Mitchell when the starting units were scrimmaging.
4:56People were tweeting it was one of the most dominant performances they've ever seen in training camp.
5:00And this is a really good indication of a few things for me.
5:04Main thing being that he's still good at football, which never should have been in question.
5:08Like people got the ick prematurely last year in Philly.
5:11He had the knee issue and the demeanor and the body language wasn't great.
5:14AJ Brown is still a very, very good football player.
5:17That should not be in doubt. And the other good thing we're seeing is he's building rapport with Drake May.
5:22Like early, early camp, there were reports they weren't on the same page.
5:26They clearly are now. Things are clicking. He is going to be fed in this offense.
5:30They gave up a first round pick to bring him into New England to play with Drake Maye, who was an MVP candidate last year.
5:37Super efficient on the deep ball. And that's what AJ Brown does so well.
5:40He stretches the field. He keeps defenses honest. He, you see those big explosive plays.
5:44That's what Drake May can do so well with those receivers.
5:47The writing's been on the wall since they traded for him.
5:50Now it's coming to fruition. If you're a contender in dynasty, I'm going to get him.
5:54And even in redraft, I think he should be going at the one, two turn.
5:58And he's typically going mid-second, late-second in a lot of leagues.
6:01I really love the fact that you brought up those early reports that he wasn't gelling or meshing with Drake May because
6:07I think we do something as both a fancy football community and NFL community where we overreact to very early training camp news.
6:13And we kind of hold on to those priors.
6:15And we just see that as the entire narrative.
6:18And I'm glad that you brought up AJ Brown because on the surface, it looks like, okay, yeah, we're talking about a
6:23guy who's getting drafted in the top 10 wide receivers.
6:26Like, is there really that much room to grow?
6:28But I think a lot of people are fading him because they have this image of who AJ Brown is.
6:34And they have this image of what they thought it would look like coming into New England.
6:38Meanwhile, everything we're seeing right now is telling us that this is going to be an absolutely smash pairing between Drake Maye and AJ Brown.
6:45AJ Brown is one of those guys. I mean, I'm in the Philly area.
6:48So, you know, I've seen the good. I've seen the bad.
6:51But he's a guy that, I mean, when you talk about our website, we have, you know, you could break down your team portfolios.
6:58I have 25 leagues and 38% share of AJ Brown.
7:00He's my most owned wide receiver because of what Mel is saying.
7:03I mean, this is low key, feels a lot like when Randy Moss came to play with Tom Brady in a lighter version.
7:10Like, we're getting a guy here. And we're getting a guy here that's in his prime that has been phenomenal.
7:15A guy that wins at all three levels of the field, gets open, yards after the catch.
7:19One of the best, you know, deep ball throwers in the league in Drake May.
7:23I mean, this is a beautiful pairing. I would not be shocked if he puts up 1,500-plus yards and flirts with 10 touchdowns.
7:29I mean, in this offense, especially now with Travion Henderson being banged up, the run game hasn't been great for them.
7:35Drake May could air it out this year. You know, I think he was going to be playing on one of those,
7:41what I call, up yours tour where it's like, I mean, like, let's talk about it.
7:45Drake May was, he's 24 years old. He finished as a top five quarterback.
7:49And everybody's acting like he's stale product. Like, he is going to come out hungry.
7:52He wants to be one of the greats. And I think A.J.
7:56Brown's going to be one of those guys that's a perfect fit once we get this season rolling around.
8:01I can't wait to see it. He's so interesting because I just ran him aside before we keep going.
8:06I had a friend text me the other day how I would rank C.D.
8:09Lamb, Justin Jefferson, and A.J. Brown. And I was like, I've probably got A.J.
8:13Brown below Justin Jefferson above C.D. Lamb as I'm starting to move my rankings around.
8:17And, Melo, shut your ears when you hear this.
8:19I do think A.J. Brown has the best path to having, like, a high ceiling outcome this year.
8:24Just because you have the elite quarterback play as much as we love Kyler Murray paired with that talent that, like, I
8:30think a lot of people are just sleeping on the fact that, like, there's a non-zero chance he finishes as the wide receiver one overall.
8:36I'm not closing my ears for that. I know I'm a Justin Jefferson guy, which is why you told me to.
8:42But as a Patriots fan and an A.J. Brown believer, that's music to my ears.
8:46I think you guys are just trying to make me smile all episode today, but I would love if that came to
8:52fruition and I could see it happening. Yeah, I have him as my dark horse wide receiver one.
8:56I mean, you're right. I can't see any scenario where he doesn't finish top 12, and I could see a path where
9:02he finishes top three and maybe even wide receiver one.
9:05So I love that you brought him up. Let's move on to the only other player that I could possibly see a wide receiver one overall outcome from.
9:12And that's Trey Tucker of the Las Vegas Raiders.
9:15I'm kidding. He's a little bit different from A.J.
9:17Brown, but this is a guy that has been absolutely lighting up camp just like A.J.B.
9:21Obviously, we all know in Vegas, Brock Bowers is the real wide receiver one.
9:25But of the actual wide receiver room, it seems like Trey Tucker has actually solidified himself as the wide receiver one.
9:30We kind of did this dance this offseason trying to figure out, will it be Tucker?
9:35Will it be Jalen Naylor? And as somebody who had a lot of promise for Jalen Naylor, I think I'm reaching the
9:40point where I have to concede this seems to be Trey Tucker's wide receiver room.
9:44And Mello, something we'd mention on the show is that like, regardless of who you think it is in Vegas, only really
9:50one of these guys can be meaningful for fantasy football just because of that offensive environment and because you're playing with Bowers and Gentie.
9:57And so for me, there seems to be a clear connection already with Cousins, who we know will start the year.
10:02He's been peppering him with targets. We just saw that 55-yard touchdown the other day that's been getting a whole lot of talk from Raiders beat reporters.
10:09But I want to get it from the horse's mouth himself and list off some quotes from Clint Kubiak.
10:14When he was asked who the biggest pleasant surprise was this training camp, he said, one guy that sticks out is just watching Trey Tucker play football.
10:21He's kind of everything that we're about with his play style and how good of a teammate he is.
10:26And he said, there's really no surprise from what we've previously seen.
10:29He can run all day, a quiet leader. He's going to be a playmaker for us.
10:34And he has been. So now it's time to see what we can get out of him.
10:38We know this is a guy with explosive potential.
10:40We saw a 41-point game last year. And I'm just such a fan of what Clint Kubiak does to get the most out of his players.
10:47And I think we have a tremendous opportunity on a guy that's shown the flashes of potential.
10:52And now as a head coach and a play caller who can get the most out of him, and we can actually
10:58potentially see a really solid wide receiver season from a guy that we are drafting right now as the wide receiver 72, number 211 off the board.
11:05Now, I mean, this makes me just so much more excited for Brock Bowers.
11:08You know, like he is literally on it. Right?
11:11Like we're talking about, you know, the Raiders wide receiver.
11:13We really want to know who that wide receiver one is.
11:16And I think Brock Bowers is clearly that guy.
11:19I mean, we look at the separation from him, from the tight end one in 2024, when he was, you know, broke
11:24out as a rookie to tight end 12. And in tight end premium, he was scoring nine fantasy points per game more than the tight end 12.
11:32Like there's such a huge gap. It's almost a cheat code.
11:34And I think Tucker's going to get a ton of opportunity.
11:37I think, you know, there's so many things that come on from that Ashton Gentry injury.
11:42I think Mike Washington is going to get a lot more opportunities.
11:45There's so many guys that Kubiak's really going to try to get the best out of.
11:49And Tucker, you know, a lot of people sleep on those late wide receivers, but he could really pan out.
11:54100%. I think it goes without saying, like you both said, like Bowers is really the guy to be excited about.
12:00But if I am taking a receiver late, it is Trey Tucker.
12:03I kind of was leaning that way even prior to these camp reports.
12:06But the camp reports are kind of like the, you know, the final piece of evidence I need.
12:11And we've already kind of seen it in a weird way too.
12:14Like last year through week six, he was the wide receiver nine in fantasy.
12:18Like I'm not projecting he's going to do that again.
12:21But with that said, like we've seen those flashes.
12:23We've seen what he can do. Now he gets Clint Kubiak.
12:26If he's the clear number one receiver in this offense, even though that means he's really the number three weapon, that still
12:32could be a fantasy relevant player here in 2026.
12:34All right, Mike, you want to give us your second player here that's exploding in training camp?
12:38I mean, let's talk about another, you know, bottom offense, but a guy's going to be the wide receiver one.
12:44And I think people discount that too much. Casey Concepcion right now is going with an ADP of 127 as the wide receiver 49.
12:50And I think, I mean, when I comped him coming out of college, he reminded me so much of Zay Flowers.
12:56Todd Munkin goes from Baltimore over to Cleveland and he gets his Zay Flowers, a guy that's versatile.
13:00You can move him all over the field. He gets open crazy yards after the catch, 900 yards on 61 receptions last year, 10 total touchdowns.
13:07And this is a guy that I think is blowing up at camp.
13:11Originally it was Denzel Boston, right? Everybody was like, I think Shador was locking on to Denzel Boston.
13:15Now that Deshaun Watson's taken over, I think Casey Concepcion is going to be the guy.
13:20And what excites me about this, right, is like when you're talking about wide receiver 49, you're talking about bottom level wide receiver twos on their own team.
13:27Here you get a chance to be a guy that could be the number one target in his offense, a team that's
13:33going to be looking for a playmaker. Because Hal Fannin really stepped up last year and very similar to what you're talking about with the Raiders.
13:40You know, he filled that wide receiver one role.
13:42But I think Casey Concepcion is a guy that could easily catch 70 to 80 balls as a rookie.
13:47And the fact that he's falling behind guys that are just, you know, anemic.
13:51Guys that were like, ooh, I can't believe I'm rostering him.
13:54Every single best ball I've done, every single redraft I've done, I've gotten him in rounds 10 or later.
13:59Now he's starting to, like we talked about before, Melo, he's starting to creep up into rounds nine, rounds eight.
14:04Everybody catches on to us, us dynasty guys, once we get into late August.
14:07But I think Casey Concepcion has what it takes to be, you know, a guy that you put on your bench, but
14:13by the end of the year has that ascension where you see him start to really, really, no pun intended, but flower.
14:19Yeah, this is the rule we just talked about in our tips episode, Melo, of draft rookies, don't trade them.
14:24I completely agree. I think there's probably going to be some growing pains with this Cleveland Browns offense as there's been growing pains for, what, 30 years?
14:31But he is a guy that is clearly so talented.
14:34He has clearly been lighting up training camp. And versus Denzel Boston, the advantage he has is being more of a volume guy.
14:40And I know all of us now play in PPR and half PPR and those receptions really matter.
14:45And so for me, I'm starting to lean into that too.
14:48I'm excited about Denzel Boston. But at least in year one, the guy I would probably rather have right now is Casey Concepcion.
14:54What's wild about the ADP, right? We're talking redraft right now.
14:57I mean, Dynasty, I love these guys. But in redraft, I mean, Carnell Tate, wide receiver 31.
15:01Makai Lemon, 46. You know, Jacoby Lane, 61. You got guys like Chris Bell, wide receiver 88.
15:06Like, they're free. Like, you look at those top guys, though.
15:09Tate, Concepcion, and Lemon. They're going in that. Tate's going to be, you know, the number one wide receiver there in Tennessee.
15:14Casey Concepcion is going to be the wide receiver one, in my opinion, there.
15:18Makai Lemon's one injury away from doing something massive at wide receiver 46.
15:22Stribbling, wide receiver 48. Like, these guys are ripe with opportunity.
15:24And every single year, I mean, two years ago, I was like, guys, you've got to take BTJ in, like, rounds 8 through 10.
15:31You know, and it's like, last year, Tate was going too cheap.
15:34And there's so many guys every single year where people just don't want to take rookies because they fear the unknown.
15:39Us having that dynasty edge, and that's what I love about your guys' show and our show, is we mix that together where you're going over this nonstop.
15:47We start in rookie season. We go all the way into redraft season.
15:50And we know these guys much better than people show up casually and be like, I don't want any Browns.
15:55I don't want to, you know, like, I don't want any guys on the Titans.
15:59You've got to pay attention to the talent. Yeah, this is something we talk about, Melo, so much is, like, setting the
16:05foundation with your safer players, with your Chris Godwins, your Jacoby Myers, your Wondale Robinsons.
16:09And then that gives you the ability to take your shots on these rookies because I think you put so perfectly, people fear the unknown.
16:16They fear the fact that we literally have never seen it before.
16:19This guy is in his first year in the NFL.
16:22But the numbers don't lie, and these rookies seem to break out at the end of every single year and be part of championship rosters.
16:28It's crazy to me people still do it. Like, you'd think after all these years of that happening, of rookies breaking out
16:34the second half of the year, winning your league, like, people would start pushing them up.
16:38But it's still, at least this year, not happening because a guy like KC, like you mentioned, I mean, he's a first-round pick.
16:44He's probably going to be the number one receiver on his offense, an offense that might have to throw the ball quite a bit.
16:51And even though that ADP is increasing, it's still low enough that he's a value.
16:54And even if you don't like KC, I mean, pick your rookie receiver.
16:58There's so many even this year that are just getting buried that you can get at such a discount.

17:35But guys, let's get back to the video. All right, well, I'm going to move on to somebody who I've been pretty
17:41cold on all offseason, but now these camp reports are starting to whisper sweet nothings in my ear.
17:45And that is TyJ Spears. Ooh. Definitely going deeper in my bag here than I did with AJ Brown.
17:50He's somebody for me, like, I didn't really have any interest in Dynasty.
17:54I'm still a little bit skeptical in Dynasty. Redraft, I had him almost entirely removed from my board.
17:58I actually was a pretty big fan of Tony Pollard as a potential late-round, boring running back you could get in Redraft
18:04just because of the volume that I projected him to get.
18:07I'm not so confident in that volume anymore, though.
18:10So when talking with Peter Schrager, head coach Robert Sala himself referred to Pollard and Spears as a one-two punch.
18:15And that's what we've seen in recent weeks as well.
18:17The first preseason game where the starters did, in fact, play.
18:20Both running backs worked in with the first unit.
18:23And if we're nitpicking, Spears was actually more efficient and got the passing game work.
18:27In that first game, they also both mixed in in the second preseason game.
18:30The same can be said about camp as well, not just the preseason games.
18:34Spears has been working in heavily on passing downs.
18:36Reportedly has been one of Cam Ward's favorite targets here in camp.
18:40So as somebody who is drafting a ton of Pollard in Redraft, I'm now starting to think that Tajay Spears might just
18:45be the cheaper version of Tony Pollard, especially if he stays in on third downs and actually gets that pass-catching work.
18:51I'm still not overly enthusiastic about Tajay Spears, but I can't ignore this camp hype.
18:55He is super cheap in Redraft. I'm still, like I said, not enthusiastic in Dynasty, but if you want to make a
19:01move for him, maybe flip him after this year if he ends up being a big part of this offense, I'm definitely interested in that.
19:07This is so interesting to me because, Mello, what do we always say as one of our biggest rules in fantasy football
19:13is to target ambiguous backfields, especially in offenses that we expect to take a step up?
19:17And I think all of us in the fantasy community expect Tennessee to take a step up.
19:22But I just think no one can figure out what to do with this Tennessee backfield.
19:26Is it Singleton? Is it Spears? Is it Pollard?
19:28And so I actually think this one is extremely helpful to point out that there is a player right now in camp
19:34that's starting to make some noise because I agree with you.
19:37I think a couple of weeks ago, we would all have agreed it's probably Pollard and he'll probably return like two spots higher in performance than his ADP.
19:44But I think this is very interesting at an RB 47 price tag to be able to get a guy that could
19:50be leading a backfield of an offense that we expect to take a step forward.
19:54Yeah. And really what it comes down to me too, especially if the Titans are going to have to continue to be
20:00pass heavy, if they're still not quite there, which they really aren't, especially when you look at the defense and they're throwing
20:06the ball at time, if Tyje is going to be the one who's involved.
20:09Now with that said, I'm not telling you 100% will be, this is not a ride or die for me, but the
20:15camp hype is starting to be loud enough where the ADP is not increasing to keep up with it where I'm starting to be interested.
20:22Yeah. And that price is just so easy. Number one, 47 off of the board, RB 47.
20:26You are giving up one of your last picks to get this guy.
20:30Yeah. They're cheap. Absolutely. All right. Let's jump into our final player.
20:33Let's finish this off with a really fun guy.
20:35Let's talk about T-Mac, Ted Arroa McMillan. Right now, the wide receiver 11 and dynasty, not a ton of room to move up there.
20:41In redraft, he's the wide receiver 16, 37th man off the board.
20:45This is the second year guy, Mello, that I think we've both been extremely high on and we're seeing an absolutely awesome
20:50camp, which is exactly what you were hoping for to wrap up after that incredible rookie season.
20:55The most important thing that we've all talked about is he's got a Bryce Young problem, but we're seeing continued development with Bryce Young.
21:01Most importantly, we're starting to see T-Mac get moved around the field more.
21:05Zane Danani, who is incredible on Twitter. Give him a follow if you haven't.
21:08Talk about the fact that they have moved him all over the formation in Panthers camp.
21:13McMillan said the coaches are doing a good job of moving me around, getting me different matchups, and it came to fruition
21:18in week two of the preseason where we saw him work out of the slot for 57% of his snaps.
21:24I'm expecting a lot more volume coming T-Mac's way this season, and the intention is clearly to pepper him with targets and make him Bryce Young's lifesaver.
21:31And so I've said it before, but I'll say it again.
21:34There is a massive stink around second year wide receivers this year after Neighbors got hurt, BTJ and Lad both disappointed last year.
21:40But we always say zig when others zag and take advantage of the price stack on a guy who could very easily
21:45be in the top 8 to 10 in targets among wide receivers this season, who's already 14th in target share last season
21:51as a rookie and finished a spot higher than he's being drafted this year, finishing as the wide receiver 15 in 2025.
21:57The sophomore wide receiver start has not been great.
21:59You know, we talked about last year. This year, we already got Emeka's injured, Luther's injured.
22:04You know, we're starting to get all these guys and Ted Arroy McMillan is a guy that as long as he's in
22:09that big slot, as long as he's moving around, Bryce Young is what worries me the most.
22:14But if Bryce Young can take that next step, and this is really a make or break year for Bryce Young, right?
22:20Like he's going to be playing and I've always been a big fan of, you know, we talked about Jonathan Brooks, but
22:26I mean, I like this offense because of Dave Canales.
22:28It's just how much does Bryce Young get it done?
22:31I just see for 11 price tag. I think that's very fairly priced, but he could easily jump inside that top eight
22:37to 10 this season if he can put it up there.
22:39And the tricky part is just we need to see more volume.
22:43We need to see more touchdowns. There were some times last year where he looked dominant.
22:47And then there were times where Bryce Young was latched on to Jalen Coker.
22:51The talent is there. He should be the breakout guy, you know, and I'm praying for a happy and a fun and
22:56healthy season for Emeka, for him, and for Luther Burden because I want all those guys to break out.
23:01You know, we need to get that curse to that sophomore wide receiver off the block.
23:06100%. It's the perfect year for it because last year was so disappointing that I think it's pushing a lot of those
23:11guys down in ADP, both in redraft and then in Dynasty people are scared because we saw like Brian Thomas Jr.
23:17fall from, you know, this glorious stature, you know, stature that he had prior to year two.
23:21And Marv was disappointing and all these guys. So people are starting to get cold feet, which is good for somebody like
23:27Ted Arola McMillan, who I think is pretty reasonably priced right now.
23:30I want to bet on the talent because I just so wholeheartedly believe in it.
23:34You mentioned him lining up as in the slot more.
23:37That will be huge for him if that continues into the regular season, like they've been using him in camp.
23:42That'll hopefully get his usage up. So that's someone I'm betting on.
23:45Honestly, from a redraft perspective, that whole range of receivers I love.
23:48I think people are so quick to take running backs early this year, which I fully understand and I wholeheartedly get.
23:54But because of that, a lot of receivers that I think in most years would be second round picks are going in
24:00like the third and fourth now, like a Ted Arola McMillan or a Buka if he were healthy, Devonta Smith, like that
24:06whole range of receivers I really like this year.
24:08It creates like a cheat code there, right? Draft him from the end there where you get like A-Chain and Saquon and
24:14then you can get like Garrett and Tet at the 3-4 and you're like, I got potentially two RB1s and two wide receiver ones in that area.
24:21Most years, you know, we kind of complain about drafting from 11-12, but I think the wide receivers falling to your point
24:27has really created an opportunity where you can dominate the board from that spot.
24:30Those were our six players that are exploding right now in training camp for fantasy football.
