Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveProjection2:37

Despite a tough matchup against a Panthers defense that ranks second against wide receivers, Amon-Ra St. Brown is considered matchup-proof and a solid WR2.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveBreakout24:45

Despite a disappointing start, Carnell Tate is a prime breakout candidate this week coming off a season-high 9 targets and facing a vulnerable Baltimore secondary.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveProjection5:08

CeeDee Lamb is ranked as the WR5, with the source noting he is back to his old self as the clear WR1 in the Dallas offense against a surprisingly suspect Texans defense.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveRole4:10

Chris Olave is a locked-in top 6-8 receiver while Jordan Tyson is out, serving as a 'volume demon' in the offense.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveBreakout8:27

Christian Watson has arrived as a must-start WR1, evidenced by 29 targets and four touchdowns in just three games.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeProjection30:54

DJ Moore is a fine flex play against the Patriots, having been busy with 10 targets in his first full game back.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveUsage20:10

Davante Adams is a strong start, especially if Puka Nacua is inactive, as he has seen 23 targets in two games without Nacua.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeRole23:19

Deebo Samuel serves as the de facto WR1 for Brock Purdy if Mike Evans remains sidelined. He is a low-end WR3 or flex play, though his production is capped by CMC and Kittle.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeProjection13:39

Despite a decent stat line, the Eagles' offense looks lost, making it difficult to project a bounce-back for Devonta Smith against the Rams.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeUsage25:41

DK Metcalf has 24 targets on the year and faces a Browns defense allowing the sixth-most points to wide receivers. He remains a boom-or-bust flex play dependent on big plays.

Insight page

Dontayvion Wicks

PositiveUsage22:06

Matthew Golden (Dontayvion Wicks) is a low-end WR1 fringe player who leads the Packers in targets with 30 through three games, averaging 17 yards per reception.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveRole11:52

Drake London is back to being a WR1, a role he has historically held in 46% of his games with Michael Penix Jr. at quarterback.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveProjection7:26

After clearing concussion protocol, Garrett Wilson is a confident WR1 start against a brutal Bears defense.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveProjection17:11

After an 11-target game, George Pickens can be started with confidence as a WR2 against a vulnerable Texans secondary.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveProjection3:37

Ranked as the WR3, Ja'Marr Chase is viewed as matchup-proof due to his talent and connection with Joe Burrow, with expectations of a high-scoring shootout against the Jaguars.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

NegativeBreakout20:20

Despite a minor injury concern, Jalen Coker has been phenomenal, ranking as the WR9 on the year. He is a confident start against a Lions defense surrendering the fifth-most points to wide receivers.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeBust21:50

Jamison Williams is becoming difficult to trust in redraft formats, having failed to record 5 receptions or 50 yards in any game this season. He remains a low-end flex option based on talent and environment, but consistency is lacking.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveProjection24:56

Despite inconsistent performance, Jaylen Waddle is the clear WR1 for Miami and is in a bounce-back spot against a San Francisco defense that recently allowed high production to a similar receiver.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue23:40

Josh Downs is a smash-start and a priority buy-low candidate before his price explodes, as he faces the worst defense against fantasy wide receivers.

Insight page
PositiveValue28:01

Josh Downs is a top buy, seeing increased volume each week with 11 targets last game. He faces a defense allowing the most fantasy points to the position and is projected to crush his projections.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveInjury6:48

Justin Jefferson is a must-start if he plays, with the source expressing confidence in his connection with Kyler Murray following his hyper-targeted performance before his ankle injury.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

NegativeProjection26:01

Ladd McConkey is a viable WR2, but the source is nervous due to the Chargers' struggling offense and a tough matchup against Seattle.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveBreakout21:21

Luther Burden showed signs of a breakout with a 7-catch, 61-yard, 1-TD performance on Monday night. Expect increased volume moving forward as he builds on this momentum.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveProjection18:38

Despite a slow start and quarterback instability, the source believes Malik Nabers will get going against Arizona, noting his high potential as a former WR2.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveRole19:29

Michael Wilson has established himself as the Cardinals' WR1 over Marvin Harrison Jr., evidenced by a massive 17-target performance. While volume is currently game-script dependent, he remains a viable flex play.

Insight page
NegativeUsage31:54

Michael Wilson is the clear WR1 for the Cardinals, but his high volume may be game-script dependent, making him an okay flex play against the Giants.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveProjection10:21

If healthy, Nico Collins is a low-end WR1 in a favorable return spot against a suspect Cowboys secondary.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole12:13

Parker Washington is the clear WR1 for the Jaguars and an every-week must-start, especially in a potential shootout against Cincinnati.

Insight page
PositiveValue26:27

Parker Washington is a top-tier play for week four, leading the Jaguars in major receiving categories. He is expected to thrive in a projected shootout against the Bengals' weak secondary.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveInjury5:48

Assuming he returns from injury in Week 4 as expected, Puka Nacua should be started with maximum confidence despite a tough matchup against the Eagles.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

PositiveUsage14:54

Rashee Rice remains the WR1 for the Chiefs, seeing nine targets last week; he is expected to have a good day against a Raiders defense that hasn't been tested.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveProjection22:55

Stefan Diggs is the WR13 on the year and has a nose for the end zone with three touchdowns in three games. He is a strong start against a Colts defense allowing the sixth-most points to wide receivers.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveProjection21:35

Tee Higgins is a viable WR2 with upside in a potential shootout against Jacksonville, coming off a strong 6-catch, 90-yard, 1-TD performance.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveProjection27:36

Terry McLaurin is a strong flex play against a lackluster Indianapolis defense, coming off his best game of the season.

Insight page

Tetairoa McMillan

PositiveBreakout15:50

The buy-low window for Tetairoa McMillan is closing; he is expected to have a breakout performance against a Lions defense that hemorrhages points to wide receivers.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveUsage8:54

Zay Flowers is the entire Ravens passing game, showing high-end production despite limited snap counts early in the season due to injury; his ceiling may be higher than preseason projections.

1:15But Mello, let's hit our top 36 here and then wrap it up by revealing our top four plays of the week at wide receiver.
1:22Let's do it. And starting off with number one, it's the Emerald City route artist, that guy, Jackson Smith and Jigba taking
1:29on the year, defensive player of the year, all the accolades taking on the Chargers.
1:33And to be honest, I don't really care who he's playing regardless of whether it's a good or bad defense.
1:39He's entered the territory to me where he's my wide receiver one on the week every single week until further notice, regardless of matchup.
1:46He's been that good. He's gotten that type of volume.
1:49Easy wide receiver one for me. I don't think that's worth belaboring the point.
1:54100%. Like you said, wide receiver one for the foreseeable future.
1:57At number two, though, the guy who is number two on the season, Aminra St.
2:01Brown finishes as the wide receiver three every single season and is actually overachieving as the wide receiver two.
2:07This Panthers defense ranks second best against wide receivers and fancy points per game, but Aminra has proven to be matchup proof.
2:14Slot him in as your wide receiver two. Absolutely love that.
2:17And I also love Jamar Chase coming in as our wide receiver three, taking on the Jaguars.
2:22Another tough matchup, but it's Jamar Chase and it's Joe Burrow throwing him the ball and he needs to be ranked high every single week.
2:30You mentioned Aminra as matchup proof. I think Jamar is in a similar territory, similar conversation.
2:34And I also think we could end up seeing a shootout against the Jags here on Sunday.
2:39So I'm not mad at all at that. Yeah, I'm actually unbelievably excited for that game.
2:44I think we're going to see a ton of points, but let's take it to a divisional battle here.
2:50Let's talk about Chris Olave making his debut in the S tier.
2:53Wide receiver four on the season and this defense ranks seventh in points allowed to the position.
2:59Our volume demon is a locked in top. I would say six to eight receiver every week until Jordan Tyson's back.
3:05Yeah, it's been great to see how involved he's been.
3:08Same can be said about CD Lamb taking on the Texans in Houston on Sunday.
3:12We have him as our wide receiver five. It's just been great to see him back to his old self.
3:18Last year felt a little bit weird. He's the number one receiver on this offense though.
3:23And Houston's defense has been surprisingly suspect as well.
3:26They've had some tough matchups, especially the first couple of weeks, but they haven't been great.
3:31So I'm excited for Lamb in week five. Yeah, I'm actually very interested in that.
3:35I went into the season thinking that defense was just going to be like impenetrable week in and week out for receivers.
3:42And so far that has not been the case.
3:44So CD Lamb and George Pickens will be another great litmus test.
3:48On to number six. Let's talk about Puka Nakua projected to come back from whatever this injury is.
3:53Barring a setback, Sean McVay said he should be returning in week four.
3:57Not an inviting matchup taking on the Philadelphia Eagles.
4:00But I think you know, Melo, if you have Puka Nakua, you start him as your wide receiver.
4:05With almost as much confidence as you possibly can.
4:08Absolutely. We're hoping he plays. Same for Justin Jefferson at number seven, taking on the Dolphins.
4:13Like Puka Nakua, this one really boils down to health, whether or not he plays.
4:17He had that ankle injury. They said he almost came back in last week.
4:21He didn't. We'll see how everything unfolds this week.
4:24But if he's good to go, you need to fire him up against this bad Miami team.
4:29It was great to see two obviously disappointing week because of the injury.
4:33He was hyper targeted that first drive of the game with Kyler Murray.
4:37That made me feel really good. So I'm confident in Justin Jefferson as long as he plays.
4:42I completely agree. Another guy. This is like the weird health situations range.
4:46Let's talk about Garrett Wilson, who left late in last week's contest against the Lions.
4:50Looks good to go after clearing concussion protocol. This Bears defense is brutal.
4:54Despite what we saw last night, Melo, against the Eagles.
4:57I am still very confident starting wide receivers against this team.
5:01And this season's wide receiver seven should continue to roll.
5:04I'm loving slotting in Garrett Wilson as a wide receiver one this week.
5:07Absolutely agreed. And at number nine, we have Christian Watson at Tampa Bay.
5:11Christian Watson has arrived and there's nothing you can do about it.
5:1529 targets, four touchdowns, just three games. Tampa Bay secondary beware.
5:18They haven't been the best unit all year anyways.
5:21Christian Watson is a must-star wide receiver one at this point.
5:24It's actually crazy. I entirely agree with you until he is hurt or some situation changes in Green Bay.
5:30I'm locking him in as a wide receiver one week in and week out.
5:34But let's jump to Zay Flowers, Melo. And I want to talk about how crazy of a season this has been for him.
5:41Taking on the Tennessee Titans. Zay Flowers is the entire Ravens passing game right now.
5:45Five catches in each of his last two games.
5:48234 yards total. Here's the wild part. He played 29% of the snaps in week one because of the injury.
5:54He played 33% in his first game back because he was ramping back up from the injury.
5:59We've barely even seen this guy out there for a full game.
6:03And he's absolutely dominating. He looks like he's worth the money so far.
6:07This game is tied for the highest total on the slate.
6:10I want Zay Flowers big time against this Tennessee defense that just got gashed by Devonta Smith two weeks ago.
6:16So, yeah. The ceiling might be higher than we were giving him credit for in the preseason.
6:21I absolutely love Zay Flowers' rest of season. Next guy, Nico Collins taking on the Cowboys.
6:26Yet another guy. We're waiting to see what the injury news is.
6:29He obviously hasn't played the last couple weeks. And the Texans need Nico back as badly as your fantasy team does.
6:36They are 0-3. They have been struggling. And it's a glorious return spot if he does play Dallas' defense.
6:41It seems like we're getting shootouts against the Cowboys very frequently.
6:45The secondary still isn't fixed. It's a phenomenal return spot.
6:48He's going to be high volume if he does play.
6:51You can slot him in as a low-end wide receiver one if he's back.
6:55You know I don't like to waste anybody's time, but I feel like I do have to bring up the fact that
7:01CJ Stroud was now warming up with a rugby ball on the sidelines.
7:05And my initial thought was just maybe we should try learning to throw a football before we start playing basketball and rugby.
7:12But on to number 12, our final wide receiver one.
7:15Let's talk about Drake London. He is going to wrap up this A-tier.
7:19Melo, Drake London is so back. You pointed out over the offseason, Drake London is a wide receiver one in 46% of
7:25his career games with Michael Penix Jr. He's one for one on the year so far.
7:30I'm going to keep riding with him against New Orleans.
7:33As you should. And we're going to keep riding your guy too.
7:37The man with the jersey on your wall. Lordy.
7:39Parker Washington. You know what? We'll keep him in the A-tier.
7:43I was going to start the B-tier with him, but I can't in good conscience put him in the B.
7:49Just for your brand. You're a fraud if you put Parker Washington outside of the A-tier.
7:53He's officially an every week must start. He is the clear number one receiver in Jacksonville without question.
7:59And I especially love him against Cincy here. What could be a shootout?
8:03I talked about it earlier when I was talking about Jamar Chase.
8:06I think we might see a lot of points in this game.
8:10Parker Washington is the best weapon that Jaguars have.
8:13I'm super excited about him yet again here in week four.
8:16Yeah, this is an awesome matchup. But on to number 14.
8:19Let's talk about this Eagles offense that just every year it feels like I can't figure them out.
8:25He kind of had a quiet game Devonta Smith week one.
8:28Then he comes out looking more like the alpha wide receiver one.
8:31We thought he could be in week two against Tennessee.
8:34And then last night, despite having like a decent game, like six or 65 off of eight targets, Philadelphia's offense looks absolutely lost.
8:41A complete disaster against this Bears defense. It's tough to imagine they're going to get right against the Rams.
8:47But I'm hoping Devonta Smith can get right, even if we don't see this Eagles team fully bounce back yet for a couple of weeks.
8:54Agreed. And another guy, I think in a similar boat, we're waiting for the big game to finally happen.
9:00Rasheed Rice at 15, taking on the 3-0 Raiders in Vegas.
9:03That is just a sentence I did not think I was going to be hearing.
9:08Yeah, 3-0 in the AFC, the Chiefs, the Bills, and the Raiders.
9:12I'm sure we all guessed that a few weeks ago.
9:15But yeah, I mean, Rasheed Rice has not had the start I had hoped for as a Rasheed Rice truther, but he's
9:21still operating as the wide receiver one in this team.
9:24He saw nine targets last week. And it's also worth noting, I'm not sure where he's at with his health.
9:30He was rehabbing that knee injury. I'm hoping as the season gets further along, he's a little bit healthier, maybe looks more
9:37like what we saw in previous years. In terms of this week, Vegas' defense has been better than anticipated, but they really
9:43haven't been tested yet against at least an offense like the Chiefs.
9:47I think Rasheed Rice could be in for a good day here.
9:50Yeah, I completely agree. Let's talk about a guy who has really struggled and I think could be in line for a huge day.
9:58Your buy now window, your buy low window is closing quickly on Tetairoa McMillan.
10:02Taking on the Detroit Lions, Mello, we both agree this breakout is happening sooner than later.
10:07Obviously, if Jalen Coker can't go, this is like a nuclear smash play.
10:10But even if he does, the Lions are hemorrhaging points to wide receivers, ranking fifth most in points to the position.
10:17I think last week was a little bit fluky against Cleveland.
10:20I think you're going to see something closer to that 100-yard performance that we saw from TMAC a few weeks ago, plus a touchdown on top.
10:28Yeah, definitely one of our favorite buys in fantasy right now.
10:31Number 17, though, George Pickens, taking on the Texans.
10:34He finally had his first decent outing last week.
10:36He saw 11 targets in that game. And I think at this point, you can start to have the confidence in him
10:43as a wide receiver too, despite the really slow start.
10:46And like I mentioned with Lamb, Houston's secondary, Houston's defense has not been what we thought they'd be.
10:51They've been surprisingly vulnerable. Pickens is the type of receiver who can definitely take advantage of that.
10:57Yeah, and I want to point out, after week one, one of our biggest buy lows, the headliner buy low that we had, was Devontae Adams.
11:04After week two, our biggest headliner by now was George Pickens.
11:08We see the 11 targets. I think we are in line for TMAC to have a similar ascension here and a little
11:14bit of a mini breakout against Detroit. But on to number 18, the other guy in the buy lows episode that I talked about, Malik Neighbors.
11:22And Melo, I cannot believe we're going to have nine in the Big Apple or whatever number he ends up choosing.
11:28It sounds like Jameis will still be the starter for now, which that feels very fragile.
11:33I don't know what the rest of these next few games are going to look like for New York.
11:39But I have to believe they get Malik going here against Arizona.
11:42So far, only 96 yards to his name for 2024's wide receiver six and albeit a small sample size.
11:48Last year's wide receiver two before he got hurt.
11:51I'm just not buying that things are going to stay this bad.
11:54Completely agreed. I want a documentary on this quarterback room.
11:57Injured Jackson Dart, Jameis Winston, and nine. I just need film of them interacting.
12:01Plus, who's the guy who came from the Saints?
12:04Oh my God, who did that photo shoot his rookie year?
12:07Jake Hayner? Yeah. Yeah. Forgot he was on the Giants.
12:10What a squad. What a crew. Number 19, Devontae Adams at Philly.
12:14Now, again with Puka's health. If Puka is once again inactive, skyrocket Devontae Adams up these rankings.
12:19I'd argue he's 14. I think he's right after Parker Washington.
12:22Yeah, I think that's probably a fair spot. Even if Puka plays, though, I'm okay starting Devontae Adams as a low-end wide receiver two.
12:30100%. It's a tough matchup with the Eagles, I thought, I think.
12:33I don't know, after what we saw Case Keenum do to this defense.
12:37So maybe not quite as tough as we had originally thought.
12:40And in the two games without Puka, he had a whopping 23 targets.
12:44That's insane. 23 targets. Even if that comes down a bit with Nakua back, he's still in line to have a role
12:51in this offense, retain the goal-line target duties. So I still like Devontae Adams.
12:55Yeah. I think they'll look fine, but Matthew Stafford is no Case Keenum.
12:59At number 20, Tee Higgins. Despite the loss, the offense really looked like themselves again in Cincinnati last week against Pittsburgh.
13:05Feeling a little bit more like the 2025 Bengals for a variety of reasons.
13:09Mainly the defense giving up 30 points. But a ton of it went through Tee.
13:14Six catches, 90 yards, and a touchdown. Like you mentioned with Jamar, tough matchup against Jacksonville.
13:19But both these Bengals guys are always going to have upside, especially in a matchup that could kind of be a shootout here in Jacksonville.
13:26Absolutely. And another wide receiver two I got for you here.
13:29Matthew Golden, again, taking on the Buccaneers. I think Christian Watson's ascension in combination with just how bad the Packers have been
13:36and how disappointing they've been, have overshadowed how incredible Matthew Golden has been this year.
13:40He's like the wide receiver 11, right? Or 13.
13:43He's ridiculous. Somewhere in that range. He's like a low-end wide receiver.
13:47Like right on that wide receiver one fringe. He's been unbelievable.
13:50He leads this team in targets, actually. Even over Christian Watson.
13:53He has 30 targets through three games. And it hasn't just been like dinky dunk stuff.
13:58He's averaging almost 17 yards per reception. Tampa Bay Secondary's been lackluster.
14:02Matthew was in a golden spot here, if you will.
14:05Oh, I love that. Melo, I gave you a shout out yesterday on the Smash Accept show.
14:10We were talking some Matthew Golden, and I mentioned he was one of your favorite absolute buy lows in the middle of the summer.
14:17So it's looked like an incredible call so far.
14:20At number 22, though, another one of both of our favorites.
14:23Let's talk Josh Downs. He is going to be the last guy here in our B tier.
14:28It's close. I kind of consider dropping him down, but I think this is such a good spot.
14:33We just talked about him on Monday as one of our favorite buys.
14:37And this is probably your last chance to do it before he goes up against the single worst defense against fantasy wide receivers in the NFL this year.
14:46As Downs continues to see more volume with Pierce on IR.
14:49This is a smash spot. And much like Ted Arroa McMillan, I think a short window to buy Josh Downs before his price explodes.
14:56Yeah, I absolutely love him here in week four.
14:59And I really like Jalen Waddell as well at San Francisco.
15:02Despite his side-to-side penguin celebration, the short season so far has been up and down for Waddell.
15:07Oh, whoa, whoa. It's, it's been... I'm all, I'm all over the wordplay today, Mitch.
15:12You are. He's struggled with consistency though. It's, it's been frustrating.
15:15The good news is he's still clearly this team's wide receiver one, and he's going against the San Francisco defense that just
15:22allowed a similar Z type receiver and Michael Wilson to rack up 89 yards and a touchdown on 11 receptions.
15:27I think Waddell has a bounce back spot here in week four.
15:31I agree. I think it's been really frustrating. I don't have him on any of my teams this year.
15:37It just ended up happening that way. But like, I've been watching him closely because he's a guy I wanted to trade
15:43for and felt like I missed the boat after week two.
15:47And then now it feels like you could get him again.
15:50It's just a weird spot. And I think we're going to get a really good idea of what Jalen Waddell actually is with a four week sample size.
15:58Yeah. But onto number 24, one of our biggest buys throughout the whole season, um, going into the draft.
16:04And it's just been a really bad season so far for the LA Chargers.
16:08Um, I've literally been Patrick from SpongeBob with the rock in that snail race.
16:12Like you can go whenever you feel like it Chargers offense.
16:16And it feels like we're just going to be waiting forever.
16:19This team has looked so unbelievably out of sorts, so lost.
16:22And I do think it will eventually click, but it would certainly be a tough spot to start that turnaround here against
16:29Seattle in Seattle, giving up the third least fancy points per game, two wide receivers.
16:33And the Chargers have the fifth lowest team implied total on the slate.
16:37Not a great spot for Ladd, but he has looked like the entire passing offense.
16:42So if you've got to start him, I think he is a viable wide receiver too.
16:46Yeah. I will be the first to admit as somebody who has quite a few shares of Ladd McConkie, I am very nervous.
16:53I still believe in the talent, but I am scared.
16:56I'm very scared. Speaking of which number 25, scary, Terry, Terry McLaurin.
17:00Against the Colts. I'm on one. Uh, I was scared for scary, Terry last week with Marcus Mariota, as they call him at quarterback.
17:07Mariota. Uh, but we're so back now. He actually had his best game of the season, six receptions, 77 yards, a touchdown,
17:14really nice touchdown play last week against Seattle. And now he goes from Seattle, who we just talked about how good they
17:20are to a lackluster Indianapolis defense in week four, but there's still plenty of risks just because of the offensive environment, but
17:27he's a super strong flex play to me. Yeah.
17:30When you look at like a surprisingly great performance and how you want to follow it up, this is a great matchup for him.
17:37And I think he should keep rolling here. I was very surprised at how good Mariota looked and I would be shocked
17:43if they don't keep it going against Indy to some capacity.
17:47Football is back, baby. And whether you've been betting for years, you're just looking to put a little action on the games.
17:53My bookie needs to be added to your list of places to go line shopping.
17:58We've been talking about the teams we like and don't like.
18:01For months. We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody.
18:05And we're terrified of this Falcons offense. Even though you got Bijan, you got Kyle Pitts, you got Drake London, but you got two bad left handed quarterbacks.
18:13And you certainly don't need to be telling some fake betting expert on social media.
18:17Go to my bookie and find the plays you already know you like and take a shot.
18:22That's what's cool about my bookie. You can find the action you want and bet it wherever you are when the game kicks off.

18:54You're welcome. On to number 26, though. Let's talk about DJ Moore.
18:58Taking on the New England Patriots, this Pats team has been in a complete free fall, head to toe disaster.
19:04DJ Moore was actually pretty busy in his first full game back.
19:0810 targets leading to six catches for 67 yards.
19:10I'd expect him to stay involved this week in a divisional battle.
19:14Yeah, I think he's a totally fine flex play.
19:17Number 27, Michael Wilson taking on the Giants. I just mentioned what Michael Wilson did against the 49ers last week.
19:23Let's see if he can do the same against the Giants.
19:26He had 17 targets last week. It just seems literally impossible.
19:29That's insane. 17 targets. I mean, he was relatively quiet the first couple weeks, and then he just follows it up with 17 targets.
19:36I think it's safe to say he is this team's wide receiver one over Mazda Marv.
19:41Obviously, you have Trey McBride still, but I mean, Michael Wilson is, in terms of actual wide receivers, the number one on this team.
19:48One problem I do have is just so much of the volume is game script driven, which you would think against a
19:55not-so-great team like the Giants, it's a better matchup.
19:58But I don't know that the Cardinals will be forced to throw the ball a ton, which could actually be bad for Michael Wilson.
20:05I still think he's an okay flex play, though.
20:07Yeah, I think that's a perfect analysis of the situation, but I have been so impressed with the volume we've seen for Michael Wilson so far.
20:15At number 28, let's talk about Jalen Coker. This is a big one to monitor with the injury.
20:21It seems to be minor, but obviously still a chance he doesn't go this week.
20:25If he does go, Jalen Coker has been phenomenal.
20:28Missed most of the second half last week and is still the wide receiver nine on the year.
20:33Play him with a ton of confidence against this Lions team that, like I said earlier, is surrendering the fifth most points to fancy wide receivers.
20:41Going from someone who's been surprisingly great to surprisingly disappointing, Emeka Abuka at 29.
20:45He's like at the top of the leaderboard for most frustrating players this season, I think.
20:50Now Baker's hurt with that dumb thing. And not that Baker was playing great because Baker's been just abysmal so far this year.
20:57However, the Micah Parson-less Packers defense has ressembled something to what you'd see in like the Big 12 or the old Pac-12
21:03back when it was what it used to be.
21:06So for all of those reasons, Emeka Abuka is a decent flex play for me and a great matchup where he is
21:13the number one receiver on this team. Yeah, I think you could do a lot worse than Emeka Abuka this week, especially like in your flex spot.
21:21On to number 30 though, Luther Burden. Luther Burden stands rejoice.
21:24That finally felt like you were getting to see a mini breakout.
21:28And of course it happens with Case Keenum. Finally crushes on Monday night.
21:31Seven for 61 and one. Now he looks to build on that against the Jets who have actually been somewhat of a
21:38middle of the pack opponent on defense. But I think this feels like a once you get him out of the box,
21:45it's hard to put him back in and we should see some more volume for Luther Burden.
21:50Yeah, definitely. Number 31 is Jamison Williams and Mitch.
21:52What do we do with Jamison Williams? What do we do with this guy?
21:57The matchup against Carolina is decent on paper, not great, but solid, I guess.
22:01But Jamison Williams has yet to record at least five receptions or 50 yards in any contest.
22:06He's not found the end zone despite being on this Lions offense that they're just scoring at will tons of points.
22:12He's still a flex option because of the environment and because of the talent and the boom potential that he does have.
22:19But I'm getting to the point where I'm just kind of over him and redraft like best ball.
22:24Like I'll continue to draft him in future years, I'm sure.
22:27But it's just really tough weekend and week out to trust Jamison Williams.
22:31Yeah, I think like he is at the bottom of your flex zone right now slash bench until further notice.
22:37I think he's going to have like it's not going to be just boom boss.
22:42Like I think he's going to have stretches. You just it's getting hard to call them because he keeps getting in good situations and not producing.
22:50And so we'll see. Carolina will be an interesting matchup to see if he can get on track.
22:55On to number 32, though, let's talk about Stefan Diggs.
22:58Marcus Mariota looked incredible last week. Shocking the defending Super Bowl champs, as we said.
23:02Diggs has been great. Wide receiver 13 on the year.
23:05Now he gets the Colts giving up the sixth most points to wide receivers this year.
23:10He's also had a nose for the end zone with three touchdowns in three games.
23:15There's much worse starts you could have than Stefan Diggs here in the big 2026.
23:19From one unk to another, we're going to Debo Samuel here at 33 taking on the Broncos.
23:24It is truly miraculous that Debo Samuel had 80 receiving yards last week on zero receptions.
23:29I know nobody cares about my fantasy league, but I started Mike Evans against Mitch, who lateraled it to Debo.
23:35Mitch started Debo against me. It was a whole debacle.
23:38And I traded you Mike Evans earlier in the week.
23:41And you traded me Mike Evans and Brees Hall earlier in the week who got hurt.
23:46I was in a fetal position on my basement floor for half of Sunday.
23:50It was a whole debacle. But anyways, I'm digressing.
23:53Mike Evans could still be out. Debo is the de facto wide receiver one for Brock Purdy, if that is the case,
23:59even if CMC and Kittle eat first. So for that reason, Debo still deserves some sort of starting consideration as a low-end wide receiver three or flex play.
24:08Yeah, 100%. Let's move on to number 34 and wrap up our F tier pretty quickly here.
24:13We're talking to Vaughn Vele, part of this very fun New Orleans Saints offense with Tyler Schuck at the helm, who is
24:19second in the NFL in passing yards after three weeks.
24:22Vele has 22 targets on the year, which has been honestly incredible.
24:26Much better than I projected out the gate, even as someone who is high on him.
24:31Currently the wide receiver 21 on the year. Saints should keep things going offensively here.
24:35They have the sixth highest team in ply total on the week, taking on the Atlanta Falcons.
24:40You should be able to start Vele in your flex with a lot of confidence.
24:45Yeah, it's been great to see the type of involvement he's had.
24:48Number 35, though, is Carnell Tate, who's just been detrimental to the psyche of those who drafted him.
24:54Yes. I am so confident it will get better, though.
24:57And it may not happen in week four, but I would not blame you for taking that shot that it does happen here.
25:04Coming off a season high nine targets in a game where he's facing this Baltimore defense that has been absolutely shredded two
25:10bits through the air over the last couple of weeks.
25:13So it's far from a lock to happen, but we could finally see a little bit of a breakout from Carnell Tate here.
25:20Yeah, I think this is a spot that, like you said, if you're going to pick your spot that the breakout happens,
25:27it feels like after the week we saw him get a lot of targets and then we see him going up against
25:33a defense that is able to be taken advantage of.
25:36Hopefully, Carnell Tate has his first mini breakout and finds the end zone in this one.
25:41Let's wrap it up real quick, though, with DK Metcalf.
25:44No, DK Metcalf has 24 targets on the year.
25:47And the Browns give up the sixth most points to fantasy wide receivers in 2026.
25:51With DK, as always, you're kind of banking on a big play with him.
25:55Really a boom or bust kind of guy here in week four, but there's worse shots you could take as one of
26:02our final kind of flex plays at the wide receiver position.
26:05All right, Melo, it is time for our week four Mount Catchmore, where we name our four favorite plays at wide receiver.
26:12We'll save the Mount Rushmore for tomorrow when we hit our running back plays, but this is presented by Dabble.
26:18We are going to predict the guys who will beat their projections in yardage at the wide receiver position.
26:23Melo, give me your first guy on the week four Mount Catchmore.
26:27It's your guy, Parker Washington. Oh! I'm taking a page out of your book.
26:31I think we're going to see a shootout between the Bengals and the Jaguars.
26:35Parker Washington is the best weapon the Jags have on their side.
26:39He had a down week by his standards against New England, despite the incredible touchdown and the incredible touchdown before that.
26:45That didn't actually count. But New England has a tough secondary.
26:49Cincinnati secondary is not very good. Parker Washington still leads this team in just about every major statistical receiving category.
26:55I love him here in week four. Well, I love him too.
26:58That was such a great pick, Melo. I'll go on to my first guy in the Mount Catchmore with Ted Aron McMillan.
27:05We talked about him a little today, and we talked about him yesterday in the buys episode.
27:10But he is due to find the end zone, and I think he should see a lot of volume here against this
27:16Lions team that just got gashed by Garrett Wilson, Chris Alave, and somehow even Keon Coleman when he functioned as the Bills wide receiver one with DJ Mordown.
27:25Fire up TMAC this week. I absolutely love that.
27:27I'm also loving me some Jalen Waddell in week four.
27:30I talked about it earlier. This San Francisco defense just let Michael Wilson have an absolute field day.
27:36Waddell plays a similar role in this Denver offense as Wilson does in his.
27:40And with all the scoring the Niners have been doing, Denver may go pass happy to keep up.
27:45But I like Waddell to have another big day similar to what we saw in week two.
27:50It's a great pick. I do think he's going to bounce back a little bit this week.
27:56And let's wrap it up with my other buy that I had on Monday's episode, Josh Downs.
28:01Josh Downs has seen more volume each and every game, wrapped up with 11 targets last week.
28:06Now he goes up against the team, allowing the most fantasy points to the position.
28:10He should crush his projections this week and is one of my favorite buys in all of fantasy football.
28:16149 yards total in his last two games. This is a great spot to keep that trend going.
28:21But Mello, those were our top 36 wide receivers here for week four.
28:25If you have any start sick questions, any trade questions, let us know down below.
28:30And before we get out of here, did we miss anything?
28:33That's all I got. All right. We'll catch you guys next episode.
