0:00Alright, welcome everybody. We are live and it's the Fantasy Empire.
0:04We're doing a Football Guys Online Championship Draft. Chris, tell us a little bit about this draft and you know, kind of the basics behind it.
0:14Yeah, Dan, 350 entry here, NFFC Online Championship. Overall winner, which will probably be us after this, gets 300k.
0:21As long as you let me run the fucking show.
0:24Yeah, well, we'll fuck it up. How about that?
0:28So anyway, today, we are, because there's four of us, we're gonna take a step back, me and Modika here.
0:35We're gonna let Nelson fuck this up with Dan and away we go, pretty much.
0:41Nice. Dan already put Jameer Gibbs on the queue.
0:44No, no, no, no. That was Chris. We've got pick 10.
0:48I am not taking the point. He might fall.
0:52He might fall. He might fall. Anyway, listen, we are in the 10 spot.
0:57You guys don't have a contract. You might hold up.
1:00We are in the 10 spot today. A lot of NFFC veterans here for this matinee year.
1:07We got Duke Viveros, who was kind enough to get off the poker table and donate another 350 to us today.
1:15Past champions, Kyle Hillesheim, Sumners in here. Razor Ramon, my guy, Razor Ramon Valentin is here.
1:20Can't wait to see him in New York. Jody Ryan, another vet.
1:25Looking forward to seeing him in New York. And Mr.
1:29Sumner is in here too, another primetime champion. So loaded field.
1:33We're looking to have some fun. We're going to talk this one out, the four of us.
1:39But at the end of the day, Nelson and Dan are in the driver's seat and passenger seat.
1:46And me and Matty are in the backseat here.
1:49You left off Rob Geist, so we've got to throw his name in there.
1:54Him too. Sorry. Sorry, Rob Geist. I was not familiar with your game.
1:59I'm sorry. Name everybody in the draft. I know.
2:02I mean, literally going to go straight down and name all 12 people, but we'll see.
2:08My guy, Steve G. How did I figure? Did I not mention a guy, Steve G?
2:14I don't think you mentioned Steve on purpose. Oh my God.
2:18He's going to kill me for that one. Steve G, a guy drafted from Greece.
2:24Checking in. My guy, Stevie G. How can I forget him?
2:28And away we go, boys. Ah, shit. Gibbs is off the board, Dan.
2:33Oh, no. There goes the cue, Dan. Oh, look at that.
2:37Chase. I've got to log out now. I don't know what to do.
2:42Chase at two. Love it. Yesterday, Puka went three as well.
2:46Yeah, Kug took him at three. Yeah. You're starting to see a lot more of Puka three and Chase actually falling.
2:54The four in some of these. I wonder if that'll be more of a trend as we get on into August.
3:01Someone doesn't fear the substation. Nope. Definitely not. Did you guys see that today?
3:0720 out of 90 players were unable to practice today for the Niners.
3:11Yeah. They're a walking mash unit. I guess so.
3:15Mm-hmm. Oh. Well, listen. Someone's getting – well, you know what?
3:19I won't say it until now. Mm-hmm. What? Someone's getting the belt?
3:23Ask the belt. PTA? Yeah. There's going to be 11 guys getting the belt.
3:28I feel good today. Yeah. Yeah. Nelson. And you look good.
3:33And you look good, Nelson. You look good yourself.
3:36Thank you. Thank you. And as Jay pointed out, we all have a great job in real life.
3:43It's got interesting. Yep. It's going to be a fun one today, boys.
3:47People feeling spicy in the daytime. Looking good, Billy Ray.
3:51Feeling good, Lewis. All right. Dan, listen. There's not too many guys here in the first round that I don't like.
3:59So I'm pretty easygoing here. You could probably pick a guy and I'll go with it.
4:05No, we got a stoppage. We got a stoppage, boys.
4:08Somebody threw the red flag up. Challenge. What happened?
4:12Somebody threw the challenge flag here. Oh, man. Oh.
4:15I think I'm so delirious from not sleeping. Matt, do you ever sleep?
4:20Well, the last few nights, my dog has just been really bad.
4:24My wife really took it last night. But in general, I'm saying.
4:29What's your average? Three hours a night? Like four to five.
4:33Oh, God damn. That's crazy. Five hours is pretty much.
4:37I get that. Strong like both. All right. Let's see what's going on.
4:41What happened? Stevie froze up in Greece? I put four guys in the queue.
4:47From the beaches of Mykonos? He just wants all the attention, the Greek.
4:52He's like, you didn't mention my name. I'm taking this draft down.
4:56We got our boy Hubbard checking in in the comments section.
5:00Billy Waz, the goat. Jay Wimmers. Bunch of other guys.
5:04Duke, come on. Yeah, who said it? Billy is really sneaky funny.
5:08I have to say. Yeah, he really is. No doubt about that.
5:13Show the coffee. Okay, here you go. Yeah, you get Billy in New York and get a couple of drinks and cocktails.
5:21Yeah. Billy's the guy you want to get around right there.
5:25All right. Yeah, let me see. Let me see.
5:28New York drafts. Right. Chase Brown was the pick the whole time?
5:33Yeah. Yeah. Give him my home, Kyle. Yeah. Chris, did you see the question on the New York drafts there?
5:40I did not. I did not. I'm wondering when they start, they want to come watch.
5:46Absolutely. So I'll let you provide that information. Now, do you charge for guys to be on the rail, Chris?
5:53Standing room only. Outside seating only. You got to pay to get in.
5:58I gave him free food and free drinks all day and night for people that aren't buying a seat.
6:05All right. We're on the clock. Can you do it?
6:09Love the top of the queue there. Guys, quiet down, please.
6:13Let Dan and I handle this. All right. Dan, who do you want?
6:18Top of the queue. Good. Fire away. You want me?
6:22Oh, wait a minute. I'm firing away. Yeah, you fire away.
6:26Okay. At least it's the top of the queue.
6:29So if we F it up, it'll still work.
6:32Yeah. We just got to make sure we keep Chris and Matt under control and let the adults handle this draft when we're on the clock.
6:42Right. Wow. All right. So James Cook, we start off with.
6:46Okay. A little. All right. I don't like that guy, Dan, in the queue.
6:51But I like the next two. I'd go with the top one.
6:56I like the top one a lot. Okay. Easy.
6:59Easy. Chris is not going to like this pick.
7:02Good Lord. Yep. Yep. This is not a Chris team.
7:06I can tell you guys that much. Well, I can tell you this much.
7:11I told me we weren't taking any old guys.
7:15Next week, your turn is coming, Chris. We'll tell you everything about how bad your team sucks.
7:21Yes. Yes. Okay. So outside of the Greek, I mean, pretty much.
7:25Yeah. Yeah. Well, you knew Steve was going to come in and do something fun just to kind of shake up the room a little bit.
7:35So and you knew that that Chase Brown was not coming back to him no matter what.
7:41I mean, there's there's zero chance he would have made him back.
7:46So you got to like it. Now, I'm not a huge fan of JSN this year.
7:52But why? Why is he dropping in drafts? I've noticed that the last.
7:57I think you've scared everybody off. Yeah. I mean, listen, it just makes sense.
8:02And every everybody that you hear with the JSN doubt the new coordinator.
8:07Right. You know, that's scaring people off of it.
8:10Can I say something about that, Chris, though? Yeah.
8:13Go ahead. He's pretty much he was together with what's his name that's coaching the Raiders now.
8:20Now, he was what he was with him in San Francisco.
8:24One of the reasons they said they brought him there is keep the same thing intact.
8:30I mean, I think the defense is worse. You could say Shahid and others might infringe.
8:36But I think they got a throwball. Running game bad.
8:39That's the positive for it. I think people have tepidation because of watching the Eagles.
8:45That's a big word for you. I broke out the SAT words today for the live stream, guys.
8:51But the Petulo in Philadelphia the whole year last year is fresh in people's minds.
8:57And, you know, a smart offensive coordinator handing over the reins to, you know, an understudy.
9:03That's I think that's what's scaring people with JSN.
9:06That could just be my two. That's just my two cents.
9:10That's kind of where I'm at on it. It's it's more of the, you know, the coordinator for one.
9:17And then just the fact that he, you know, he did kind of start coming back to earth a little bit.
9:25London seems to keep like, you know, sliding a bit in these drafts lately.
9:30He seems to be living in the middle more towards, you know, the turn area where he was going.
9:37And that can only be because of the quarterback situation.
9:41I know, Matt, and a couple of you guys have all said that you're not that worried about it.
9:48You have two outs, right? Because of two and panics.
9:52And London was just fine last year with panics.
9:55I don't know. You know, I guess that's the only reason he's falling deeper into the middle of the second round.
10:03I told you guys on our show the other day, I got him 22nd overall in a draft a couple nights ago.
10:11It's going to be in what room you're in.
10:15Oh, hello. Ramona. Oh, hello. Ramona was the last time I seen Ramona.
10:19We're live. He was making it fun. There you go.
10:23All right. Nelson, who do you want to throw in the queue there?
10:28Let me see. I have a little tepidation on this pick.
10:32Word of the day. You can use it, Nelson.
10:35Take your spell, tepidation. Use it in a sentence.
10:39Sentence. Spell it. Can you? What origin is it?
10:42All right. Those are the guys I like pretty much in any order.
10:47All right. We're up. I'm good with either of those guys.
10:51Matt, Chris, you want to break? I would take the top.
10:55I like both of them. It really don't matter.
10:58I wasn't even looking. I was not even looking at.
11:02You got 43 seconds. Yeah, we got plenty of time.
11:06I would go with the first one, guys. Okay.
11:09That's who I would say. I'm in on that.
11:12Okay. See, this is easy. Yeah. Piece of cake.
11:16We're not even arguing about picks yet. And we had some really nice options.
11:21We had some really nice options there to boot.
11:24Yeah. That we did. I'm going to get somebody in the queue here.
11:29There we go. Oh, yeah. There you go. I like that guy.
11:34The second guy. Very nice. I knew you would.
11:37So, Team 12 started out with the three wide.
11:40Team 8 got their first receiver with Ladd. Rashid.
11:44I didn't think Rashid. I don't know if Rashid is really.
11:48If the syndicate agrees on Rashid. That might be.
11:51No, right. I see Nelson. If we have any right shares in our syndicate, it's going to be from Steve.
11:58This has to feel odd. Nelson, how many leagues have you guys been on opposite teams this year?
12:05This summer so far? Somehow Steve has found a way to get in drafts with me present against me twice this year.
12:13Twice. Okay. Which is kind of fucked up. Because it's like, you know, we're supposed to be partners and somehow he's in here.
12:22He's just going to draft an all non-Nelson team today just to piss you off.
12:27Get his shares in. Well, that and it's going to raise warning flags because he's going to draft a shitty team.
12:35Right? It's going to be all players I'm fading.
12:38So, it's going to be shitty. And then people are going to be like, oh, you know, he's punting off this team, you know, to help Nelson's team.
12:49Oh, man. Question here. Greg's inbox is going to be filled up.
12:53Of course, if that was actually the case, that's exactly what we would expect Nelson to say right there.
13:00It wouldn't be. Well, you said earlier, Nelson. Correct me about that.
13:05Nelson, correct me if you already said it was an 11-man league with Duke in here.
13:11Correct? Correct. Yeah. And now it's a 10-man league.
13:14Now it's a 10-man league. We're dropping like flies over here.
13:18It's really – It's good to get the rake paid.
13:22Devontae Adams in the third. There we go. Jacobs in the second.
13:26Adams in the third. Bye. Everybody was going to come for a fly meatball.
13:31Now I have a question. Lamb Jefferson, great star.
13:35Hold on. Hold on. Can I predict Duke's picks here on the turn?
13:40Do it. Do it. All right. He's going to take Javante Williams as one of his picks.
13:46And, okay, he took Garrett Wilson. Now go ahead, Duke.
13:50Take Javante Williams here. You know he's not just because – Yeah.
13:54Just out of spite of it. Yeah. You knew that was – He took your boy.
14:00And he took your boy. Yep. That's all right.
14:03Oh. I got to say, Matt, I don't know if you were going to just about to talk to about Team 12,
14:12but I'm going with George Pickens where – Yeah.
14:15That was my question. Right there. I was like, especially with Jefferson, that's nice.
14:20Yeah. Wow. Fourth round Jalen Waddell today in this one, which you don't see too often now.
14:26Yeah. Yeah. That's a stupid blurb. He hurt his knee.
14:30He's fine. He's banged up. Yeah. Yeah. The muscle.
14:33Yeah. His muscles were hurt. It's a veteran day off.
14:37Yeah. All right. Oh, I forgot it. I put a guy in, but I realize he might be over 30, so I might need to take him out.
14:47Just make sure you got Ferguson at the top of the queue, Dan.
14:52I moved him out already. Shout out to Ramo.
14:56He is going full Boomer Bowl here. Yeah. He is not messing around.
15:00Yeah. All right. Nelson, who are you putting in the queue here?
15:05You guys like those guys in the queue? I do.
15:09I like probably two and three more, but we'll see.
15:12We may not have a choice. I don't think this guy makes it to us, but – Yeah.
15:19I mean, I was going to put him in.
15:22It's not going to happen, but – Yeah. I'd like to add this guy right here that I just popped in, but that's just me again.
15:32I just put the fourth guy in in case we don't have the second guy.
15:38Then that makes it interesting. It's tough. It's tough for someone like me and Matt to sit back and not put people in a queue right now.
15:48It's good. It's all part of the fun. I mean – So I have a little bit of an idea.
15:55Okay. Okay. But we got to wait until it comes to our pick.
16:00No, I can't even say it out loud because these fuckers are going to stream snipe us.
16:06Just do what you think you should do. I'm going to – Okay.
16:11I think we should take this guy that I just moved to the top of the queue.
16:17Yes. I agree with that. Because I have an idea if it works out on the turn.
16:24Okay. I do like the fourth guy too, Chris.
16:27I am with you on that. But I'm good with the top guy.
16:32I need to get some exposure and this is probably a good chance.
16:37What do you think, Chris? That's probably your least favorite?
16:40Give me one second. I wanted to try and stay out of this as much as possible.
16:47But, yeah, I totally understand your thought process. I'm good with that.
16:51Yeah. Yeah. No, I'm good with that. What do you think, Dan?
16:55You're good with the top guy? Top guy. I need some exposure.
17:00All right. Yep. And now we'll see if these guys on the back end cooperate.
17:05See what they do. We got three nice ones in the queue.
17:10Now four nice ones. So – Mm-hmm. Everybody was coming.
17:14I love when I watch these live streams. And I think Brees is great value.
17:19End of fourth, by the way. Watch these live streams.
17:23And people are in like the fourth round and they're like, board's dried up.
17:28It's gone. There's nothing left. Yeah. You know? We knew that was going to happen.
17:34It didn't work. But you still got Cook and Allen and you're basically locking in.
17:39Josh – You got all the touchdowns. Six years in a row, 39 touchdowns or more.
17:45Cook's coming off 16 and 14. You know? Yeah.
17:48We got all the touchdowns from that offense. So now for me, it's the three guys there I could go with any of those three.
17:58Okay. Let's see. I think – I would go three.
18:01Can I just – I'll just say this. I would go 3-2-1.
18:06Okay. Matt? I would go 3-1-2. And I would actually – Okay.
18:10Yeah. That's all I'll say. If those are your top three and you want my opinion, 3-2-1.
18:17Yeah. All right. So Matt and Chris like three?
18:20The best? I'm good with three. You good with three?
18:24Yeah. Mm-hmm. Now, it's funny because everybody loves Parker Washington, myself included.
18:28Matt, I know you have your jersey hanging on the wall already.
18:33But what's crazy is you started to see him fall to the end of the fifth in a lot of drafts and
18:41sometimes even the sixth in some drafts in the last week.
18:45And you would think it would be the opposite.
18:48So that's just something odd that I'm seeing. Yeah.
18:52I mean, it was kind of weird early on, like in June when we first started doing these live streams and I was on with Nelson.
19:01He was ahead of BTJ. I said it's going to flip.
19:05It did flip. And then it flipped again back to Parker.
19:09So, yeah. I guess it also depends on where the running backs go.
19:14Like some of these, you'll see the running backs get pushed.
19:18You know, I know what it was like a week or two ago where like ETN went 5-11.
19:25Chris, I think that was what we did with you.
19:29Yeah. You know, there was all these running backs at the end of the fifth.
19:34That's cool. I still like the Josh Allen pick there.
19:38Like I said, I think you get a huge part of the Bills offense if you think they're going to still be good and put up the touchdowns.
19:48Touchdowns are king. I agree, Matt. The reason why I thought of him is because I like him at the 4-5 turn.
19:56We had James Cook. So, you know, just grabbing all the touchdowns from Buffalo if that offense is really good again this year.
20:05And then if they let us have DJ Moore, I would have liked like, you know, kind of completing that stack.
20:13Do you guys think Moore starts to move up a little?
20:17I think he's good. Like the buzzing camp and stuff?
20:21I'm starting to warm on DJ Moore. I didn't think that I would have any shares of DJ Moore this year.
20:28But the more I think about it, he's one of those players.
20:33And we all have them, you know, the players that are just in that pocket of like, I don't want to be overexposed to these.
20:42He's not going to be one of my guys where I have a lot of shares in and I'm looking for him in drafts.
20:51But I also now don't want to be zero shares.
20:55So I want to get him in some drafts here.
20:58He's going to wind up being that guy for me.
21:02I would have thought Montgomery would have been living like early fifth.
21:07But he seems to, you know, keep falling to the back end of it.
21:12Nelson, if you follow him, they're not. It's a nice gift for team four.
21:17I mean, you know, they go four straight wide receivers and then you still got David Montgomery that late in the fifth.
21:25It's, you know, that's a perfect situation. And that's kind of what we're talking about.
21:31Yeah, shout out to Jody. I've been watching, he's been the last couple of weeks, he's been in the streets every night.
21:39He's been playing some good teams together. Jody's firing on a, you know, he still can't get a top five pick.
21:47I know that one. But Jody's firing every night.
21:50Jody's been in enough drafts of mine. So he's got the blueprint.
21:54He's got the blueprint. There you go. But that's the thing.
21:58Speaking of your cult following Nelson, nobody's following. You haven't got the cult to follow bringing Montgomery up the board a lot.
22:07In these drafts, you know. By the way, you just see Ramon go four running backs in a row.
22:14That's the second I was going to talk about team eight with four running backs.
22:19This draft is a little wild. No doubt about it.
22:23That's good news for us, though. Let them get those running backs.
22:27We'll take those wide receivers instead. Good. Yeah, we got team two and team eight with four running backs.
22:34It's like the boomer draft for sure. AAIP cards getting handed out.
22:39Uh-huh. F them wide receivers. The queue is empty.
22:42Hey, you guys got to start filling it up.
22:46What are you guys doing? You sleeping? Is Derek in the chat?
22:50Is that Duke's like burner account? Team one is on fire?
22:54Yeah, that's got to be. It's a burner. You know what?
22:58You know? And since I'm running the same. Fire is up in flames?
23:03I can actually put that user in a timeout if we need to.
23:08Let's see. All right. Yeah, he's admitted to being Duke's burner account now.
23:13All right. Who are you liking here, Nelson? Let's get some names in the queue.
23:18What do I like? I like... Strong bias to number two so far.
23:23I like the way you think. Billy Waz, do you still have the Don at the GST?
23:29Billy Waz has been drunk off the Don about eight years in a row now.
23:35Yes, Billy. For you, I'll always keep it on the menu.
23:39Was that the iced tea drink we had? Yeah, it's that.
23:43Yeah, that was good. Iced tea vodka. Yeah. That was really good.
23:47I might switch the name to the Billy, actually.
23:51You could. Call it the Billy Goat. There you go.
23:55There's where Diggs belongs. Stevie Smiley. Now we're firing.
23:58Stevie is smiling as he was taking them in the 10th round of Emmy drafts for the last couple of weeks.
24:06All right. All right. Top two guys for me.
24:09I'm good either way. I kind of like the third and fourth guys, but out of the top two, probably second one.
24:17Do you guys have a preference? Matt? Probably two and three for me, but I'm open to all four.
24:24I think three comes. Yeah, I agree with that.
24:28I would like two. I would take two on this.
24:31I like two, too. Yep. Two makes a lot of sense.
24:35Just because that's running low. That position right about now in my eyes.
24:40Yep. These eyes. So I haven't had any. I'll wait till you guys make your next pick here.
24:47Yeah. And Matt, entertain us with some more Guess Who concert here.
24:51Yeah. I didn't even see team four. We got two teams with four running backs.
24:57Yeah. That's what I mean. Last night in the OC I was in, they were going running back heavy.
25:04Like, it wasn't four, but everybody had like three running backs, it seemed like.
25:09And I was there with like none, and I was getting a little nervous at one point, you know.
25:16But it worked out. Yeah. Okay. That didn't work.
25:19Yeah. Well, there are other options. I like the players team 12 has taken.
25:25I just. Yeah. Yeah. I would have just did it differently, like, you know.
25:30But, you know. Michael Wilson has been on the move.
25:34Everybody seems a bit more confident watching, which is the kid from Miami throw the ball in practice.
25:40Oh, yeah. Get reviews. Yep. All right. So here in the seventh round, my question is, do you want to go five wide and just punt RB2?
25:50Or you think there's an RB that you want to take here?
25:55I don't mind the top one in the queue.
25:58If you're going to go five wide, yeah. That one that you have is a good option.
26:04I don't mind going five wide. It all depends on your guys, you know.
26:10You're driving the boat today, Dan? I'll take the top guy, Dan, if you like him.
26:15Five seconds, guys. Okay. Do it. Yeah. I think that, you know, that fits in well as a stack.
26:22I wouldn't. Otherwise, I'd have probably gone with a guy further down the list.
26:28But. I'm receiving DMs. My Greek is taking everybody to school.
26:32That's got to be. That's got to be Spiteri from Italy.
26:36No, it's not Spiteri. That's going to probably nail it.
26:40If I gave him a guess. In your DMs right now.
26:44My Greek is taking everyone to school. Shit. Those two really need to be parking their yachts in the same bay at some point.
26:53They'll really live in the good life, those two.
26:56I call Paul European Paul. I said that's a nickname.
27:00Guy's been in Europe three times this summer already.
27:03He's got it better than him. Remember when it's something about Mary?
27:07He goes, who the hell goes to. Where the hell was it?
27:12Brazil or whatever. He goes, Santiago Chile in two years.
27:16And Paul goes to Europe like twice in two months.
27:19Guys, did you think about Dan and Nelson? You know, when you made.
27:24Yeah, I didn't even. I didn't think about it.
27:27But that's the way we should have probably went.
27:31Did you make. Did you think about going wide receiver?
27:34The fifth wide receiver. Only with team eight and team two.
27:39Probably out of the running back business. And maybe thinking that.
27:43A lot of people to the left of us now go more yellow this.
27:48This time around. And maybe we get two running backs on the way back.
27:53Did you think that way or no? That's what I was thinking was that.
27:58I didn't think there was like anyone of value that we needed to take there.
28:04So take the fifth wide receiver. Build that up.
28:07I was for the running for the receiver you had highlighted.
28:11Yeah, I was. I was as well. And I would have took Pittman.
28:16I would have took Pittman there. Pittman wasn't the guy I was looking at.
28:21I see him. He starred on the. He just went.
28:25Jody Reed would have been the guy I would have wanted.
28:29Yeah, that's the guy I've been taking more and more.
28:33How do you feel about that Green Bay room, Nelson?
28:36I noticed. Yeah, you're a Reed guy. You're also a Watson guy.
28:41Does that make you not a golden guy? Or not to be confused with Dan's golden showers.
28:47But there's golden right there. I agree. That's a nice thing.
28:51You like the whole Green Bay receiver core. Yeah.
28:55Look at that. The Gambler. That's who was saying my Greek.
28:59Yeah. Oh, yeah. Warren and white. Yeah, but I've been trying to increase Reed because I was taking golden over.
29:06Reed for quite some time. And now I've flipped it.
29:10Okay. That's how you feel. You're a Reed over golden.
29:13To even it out. And then I'll throw in one more.
29:18Are you all in on the all foursome with Kraft as well?
29:22Tucker Kraft. I'm still. So I was a big Tucker Kraft guy last year.
29:27Yeah. But this year coming off the injury, he relies so much on his experience.
29:33Explosiveness. I still have doubts. I'm still worried a little bit about him and how good he can be.
29:40Yeah. I mean, the other three, one of those guys goes down or gets hurt, misses some time.
29:46I have those four. The other three are going to be huge values on the board, especially Reed, Golden and Kraft.
29:54They're all going to be moving on up value wise from where they go on the board.
30:01See, now the guy you just put in the queue, number three.
30:05I think I like him better than Golden. We'll wait for him to be off the board.
30:11So he just did. Speaking of devil, he shall appear.
30:15I just think, you know, he's proven in his first two years.
30:19I know last year the offense was just a disaster.
30:23He spent pretty much the offseason with Kyler and he's got a track record.
30:28And I'm going to go with him probably over Golden or Worthy.
30:33I think they both have really big upside, both those players.
30:37That's disappointing. All right. I think I like either two or three.
30:41Four is also good. I think one of the last three will make it back around to us easily.
30:48I would. Yeah. Well, you guys like two or three, two or three.
30:53No. Let me see. I'm kind of more in the one or four department.
30:58And then we could be like done with that maybe.
31:02And let me see who else is. I agree with Matt on that one.
31:07I'm one or four here. Let's go four then.
31:11Okay. You want four over one? Yeah. Either way.
31:14I'm fine. Take your pick. Yeah. I agree with that.
31:18Yeah. I like Dobbins a little bit more than the – Yeah.
31:22The other guy. Okay. I just feel we're at a point where nobody was popping in the others.
31:29We can get out of those top two if we really want them.
31:34We can get them on the next round. You know what I'm saying?
31:38Now we've got to decide if we want to take – I tend to – Tight end or fifth wide receiver.
31:46I think that's the call here. Well, we'll find out.
31:50Yep. Mason went. Not a surprise. I kind of think for me it's the tight end because there's really good ones here.
31:58Yep. You know. All right. I'm looking to whatever.
32:01Do you want Kincaid just because of the stack or do you think Fannin or LaPorta are just – So that's a
32:10great question and I know we're on the clock.
32:13We have a little time here. Yeah. We could get Kincaid on the way, but we're not now that we're talking about it honestly.
32:22But to complete the stack, you know, to come back around.
32:26But there's no way I'm taking Kincaid over Fannin.
32:29Exactly. I had this a week or two ago when I actually did the build stack.
32:35I would go LaPorta over Fannin. That's just me.
32:39And I took Fannin over Kincaid and Kincaid did come back to me.
32:43But I was like – I like Fannin over LaPorta and Kincaid.
32:48So right now Dan and I are tied. You guys have to break it.
32:53Fannin. Chris, you break it. Fannin for me. Okay.
32:56Yeah. I also like that – I also like that other player that was in there.
33:02I think he was second on the list. Yeah.
33:06Mm-hmm. Yep. I like him too. It's weird because this is my first Josh Allen team of the summer and it just
33:14feels weird always keeping your eye on – you know, as the rounds go on, you're always keeping your eye on quarterback.
33:22And this is the first time I got to keep reminding myself like, all right, don't look at quarterback.
33:29We got Josh Allen. So it's a different mindset.
33:32Well, this is the sweet spot right here. This is where quarterbacks go off the board.
33:38Yeah. Mm-hmm. I just still don't get how Fannin goes in the ninth round.
33:43I just – I mean, I think LaPorta should go hard too.
33:48But I – Fannin, you know, everything he did in college, the rookie year, I understand the quarterbacks suck.
33:55The quarterbacks suck last year too. So I'm going to assume that you guys would have liked this team because like I'm
34:03always looking and like trying to do trade-offs and see how to structure and build the team.
34:09And if we had gone Brees Hall instead of Josh Allen and then we take Trevor Lawrence on that turn instead of
34:18Dobbins, you guys would have liked that team better, right?
34:21I mean – Me. I like the way it went now through eight rounds getting Dobbins there to complete a running back room of three, you know.
34:31Now we got Dobbins and Stevenson that we can rotate in with Cook and then, you know, a top eight tight end in my opinion in Fannin.
34:41So I like the way it was built out.
34:45So I'll never say, all right, you know, if I go back the other way.
34:50Brees Hall there would have looked nice, but I'm good with this.
34:55Yeah, I do like the team the way – like I said.
34:59That's the thing is like we talk about building it, you know, backwards.
35:04And, you know, usually from the back end, you know, it's not as easy, you know.
35:10But I think it worked out. When you get in that position though when we were on the clock before we took
35:18Josh Allen, that was my exact thought that Nelson brought up was, okay, DJ Moore is still on the board.
35:25Josh Allen we got some value on right now.
35:29Let's take Allen and we're five picks away from completing a Bills stack here.
35:34And then I would move up, you know, Kincaid later on and just go with a full Bills draft build there.
35:42Matt, it's similar to what you did last night with the Bears, which is why I – I did the Bills stack too, though.
35:51Yeah. I did that like a week or so ago.
35:54And, you know, we just didn't get more. He didn't come back to us.
36:00Yeah. I thought it was the right move again, you know.
36:04Yeah. You know, we're not going to take Josh Allen that often, but there are certain times where, you know.
36:11And look, when we took Dobbins, which was the right pick in my opinion for sure, after Dobbins, we were debating Dobbins or Jordan Mason, right?
36:21Yeah. Now, you know, Mason goes, I'm not a Chuba Hubbard guy, so Hubbard comes off the board at Team 12.
36:28And then there's not a green sticker for the whole entire round.
36:33The cliff ends right there. We talked about it on the show the other day.
36:39J.K. Dobbins and Mason are usually the end of the cliff.
36:43Chuba usually goes out a little before them. But that's it.
36:47So we couldn't afford to take another position there, whether it was tight end or wide receiver.
36:53No, no. That was like me last night in the OC.
36:57After I took Caleb in the eighth, whatever, you know.
37:018-8. I was sweating coming around until I picked, you know, that 9-10 turn over there.
37:07And, you know, luckily I got Dobbins and Mason.
37:10So I was happy about that. Guys, I know we're a couple picks away, so we'll hand it over to you guys to start putting your thoughts together.
37:20All right. All right. So we got to start building up some depth, Dan, a wide receiver before it gets kind of ugly.
37:29So let me add a couple of guys here.
37:32I'm surprised you guys don't have this guy in there.
37:36Yeah, I was about to say that, Chris. I just put him in at the end.
37:42I would just throw out here, are we interested in the second guy in the queue and then address that after the turn?
37:50I think that's just a thought. I think we might be able to push the second guy on a round.
37:58Actually, yeah, true. I mean, I guess. Yeah. I think you're right, Dan.
38:03I think the last guy, Chris, I definitely – I think this is a good spot for him.
38:09I just – Yep. I've kind of like fell out of love with that guy, to be honest.
38:16I'm all out of love. But do you think the second or third guy are better than the guy you fell out of love with?
38:25I guess that's the question. No, I mean, the last guy is probably the better option.
38:31Okay. The last – yeah. Well, he's not the last guy anymore.
38:36Right. Yeah. I know who you mean. You're the last in line.
38:40Yes. Matt's on a singing thing. All right, guys.
38:43So interesting pick here. We could complete – I think you've got to go top.
38:49Top guy. Top guy. That's the – he's on what, a five?
38:54He's like the golden of, you know, taking that.
38:57If you're willing to take a shot on that guy, I think you're willing to take a shot on him.
39:04Yeah, I like that, guys. At this point, as our five, just to see it, it's a small wide receiver tree over in Kansas City.
39:14I mean, but that's the thing. We've all been burned, yes.
39:18But you know what? This game, you've got to play with no memory.
39:22Right. Right. This is another year. And I think if he makes it back around, the top guy?
39:29I'd be down for that. Yeah, as well in the 11th round.
39:34Yeah. I don't know why we wouldn't. Let's see.
39:37Tyrone. All right. So now we find out. This episode is brought to you by eBay Live.
39:43First, you're just watching eBay Live. Then a Fendi baguette goes for an absolute steal.
39:49A 90s NASCAR jacket comes up and you have to bid.
39:53That winning feeling? It's such a rush. Because you know everyone else wanted it too.
39:58Meanwhile, on eBay Live, you don't just watch the action.
40:02You're in it. Download the eBay app to stream and shop live.
40:07eBay Live. Things people love. This suspense is killing me.
40:10We'll talk about some of these builds here. There we go.
40:14Perfect. All right. Yeah, I think we just smashed that.
40:18Yeah, definitely. Definitely. Now, like I said, Team 3 here?
40:22Have to. Have to. They are, you know, they're going all in.
40:26Leaning into it. How many wide receivers do they have?
40:30Six of them. Six of them. Yeah. And Bowers.
40:33Duke's got six. They're trying to corner the market on the wide receivers.
40:38I mean, Duke's got Judkins and Lloyd. What could go wrong?
40:42Yeah. They're running back for him. Marty Smith checking in.
40:46Good old Marty. Hey. There's Marty. Marty. So, I mean, look.
40:50We got Cook. Steve G. Starting wars already. Starting wars.
40:54Mac, Ed, you had something to say? I had one more thing as well.
40:59What I'm saying, we basically got everybody but DJ Moore.
41:03I mean, I would like to have gotten more, but we got, you know.
41:08We did get Kincaid. The Kincaid pick is an easy one for us.
41:13Not only that, we could treat Kincaid, if Kincaid gets off to a great start and he's finally the Dalton Kincaid that
41:21we've all been hoping that we've been drafting him as the last couple of years.
41:26You know, it's like we treat him as our fifth wide receiver.
41:31We could flex him out. We talked about that on the show the other day.
41:36We have two top ten tight ends now on this team.
41:40I mean, Bannon's our starter. But when need be, and if Kincaid is hot and maybe, you know, Worthy is a bum
41:49still and either Godwin gets off to a slow start or whatever, we could play Kincaid at flex.
41:55So, we're deep at the – you got to start looking at these top ten tight ends as a fifth wide receiver
42:03in a lot of these drafts, in my opinion.
42:07I saw that in the prime. I was hoping.
42:10It's the extension of your wide receiver room, you know?
42:14Yeah, Chris, I agree. If you listen to everything the Bills have said all offseason, they just keep pointing out that they
42:22were a better team when Kincaid was on the field.
42:26They need him this year. You know, he seems healthier.
42:29Again, if he can get anywhere to that 65%, 70% of routes and can stay healthy, he's, you know, he is going to smash.
42:38So, I mean, I like that a lot. I think that worked out.
42:43And look, you got to take the shot on Worthy there, where we took him.
42:49Yeah, I agree with that. Yeah, I thought the last – I thought the last four rounds our picks were pretty easy
42:57in terms of what stood out obviously as a top clear pick to me in all four rounds.
43:03So. Yep. Yep, agree with that. Again, like that seventh and eighth round, getting the running backs, you know, looking back, taking Stevenson was probably the right decision.
43:14Because Mason wouldn't have made it back to us.
43:17We would have been Cook Dobbins. I mean, we could have figured it out, but it would have changed our plans.
43:25Mm-hmm. You guys buying into this, and I'm interested to see if the board starts showing it more, but all this negative
43:33news about Trevion Henderson in camp now. Like, no improvement, still struggling to pick up, you know, blitzes and everything like that.
43:41If it starts to send him down the board a little bit and people get off the, you know, the train of, you know, the lotto ticket train.
43:52See, he went early in today's draft. I want to see him in the sixth round, and then I'm going to be more and more interested in him.
44:02But I've drafted him so far this year with the thought, I'm not lying to myself, with the thought that he's the ultimate lottery ticket.
44:11Because if something happens to Stevenson, I think we've seen, like, what he's capable of.
44:17But it could be, like, this ugly committee where he still could be, you know, decent.
44:23I'll say this. Fifth round today here, there's no way I am pulling the trigger on Trevion Henderson over Cam Scadaboo, DeAndre Swift, and David Montgomery.
44:32Can't do it. That's fair. That's fair. Yeah. I just threw a few names.
44:38But I still think he, again, too, I'm not buying that he's just terrible and all that.
44:44I think we've seen what this guy could do.
44:47And what's his name? And what's his name? You know, he's the veteran back that the guy loves.
44:54But I don't think Stevenson's just like a beast.
44:57He is a workhorse kind of guy. Ground it out.
45:01Get it done. But, you know, push comes to shove.
45:05I have a lot of hesitation about him, too.
45:08Being able to, you know, do it over a full season.
45:12Sorry for coming you up, Nelson, but I had to get this coming.
45:17That's a good one. That sounds like Roddy. Roddy Piper.
45:21Is that supposed to be Roddy Piper? Roddy Piper.
45:24Roddy Piper. Roddy Piper. That's good. I almost did a macho man in impersonation for a second.
45:30Nice job. Oh, yeah. Compliments of Parliament light. So, Dan.
45:34Four lights. Sorry. So, we're two picks away. So, Dan, in the queue, I like number one and number five.
45:41I don't like number two at all. You don't like number two at all?
45:47Even with the news on the other kind of – the other option in that offense that runs in the same neighborhood?
45:55I think you could get that down the road a little bit.
45:59Okay. I think the top guy is easy here.
46:03Yeah. I'm good with the top guy. I like the top guy or bottom guy.
46:08Well, not the bottom guy anymore, but – Yeah.
46:12I like the third guy, Dan. Third guy? Yeah.
46:15Yeah. Third guy. That's who I liked along with the guy we just took.
46:20Yeah. That's one of the things, too, guys. When I'm looking at running back situations, it's kind of like, okay, if that
46:28backup steps in, elite offense, elite offensive line, those pieces matter.
46:32Because even when the starter gets hurt, sometimes these backups can't do anything anyway.
46:37So I do like the third guy for that reason.
46:41Yeah. Well, like I'll say for the guy that went before us, like Jaden Blue, I don't even – like if something
46:49happened to Devontae, I don't expect him to be like, you know, the bell cow.
46:55I think he can carve out a role as a pass catcher.
46:59He's got the speed. And he offers them something different than what they have.
47:05Like even though – what's his name? Malik. He was good when, you know, he stepped in.
47:11He had some flashes last year, too. But I think he's just a different back.
47:16That's why I like Jaden Blue. Yeah. So I'll be a little different than you guys here.
47:23I would have not taken that last pick just because of the Kincaid pick.
47:28I look at us as we have, let's see, two, four – five wide receivers, two tight ends, seven pass catchers.
47:36Yeah, but I – Number three. I like three here.
47:39Yeah. And then we can talk a little bit about, you know, Chris disagreeing with the pick.
47:46Okay. All right. Boom. Yeah. All right. So – I'm with Chris.
47:50I would have done it in the opposite order.
47:53I would have taken Bigsby, gotten him in the hopper, and then seen what came around.
47:59So this is about the time of the draft if I'm set up like this with this build where I'm starting to hit all green.
48:09Okay? I like my running back room. It's not what I'm in love with.
48:14I didn't get a second big time back or even a third solid one, you know, where – And listen, whoever likes Ramondre and J.K.
48:23Dobbins, you know, that's fine. I like them too.
48:27I'm not in love with either of them. I don't think any of them is winning us a championship.
48:34But I'm starting to build out my running backs at that point.
48:38I would have took Dylan Sampson where we just took Trey Harris.
48:42I would have came back. I would have took Tank Bigsby or any running back that I like that's in the queue, you know.
48:51I'm just saying these – My counter would be I think Trey Harris has such a huge ceiling if somebody – One of those receivers gets hurt.
49:01And honestly, I mean, maybe it's what's kind of kept me from QJ.
49:06I don't think, you know, if he gets the opportunity.
49:10I don't know if QJ is, you know, world's better than Trey Harris.
49:15I look at everything this kid did in college.
49:18I mean, the problem was for him was – Well, you're talking the player.
49:23You're talking the actual player that you like to draft there.
49:27Well, I'm talking about the upside. You're staying on the upside.
49:31I mean, Sampson, I was in on a lot more earlier.
49:35I'm kind of getting – I don't know if they're kind of like – The recent reports haven't been so hot.
49:43He was a guy I was taking a lot more.
49:47So, I just don't – The running backs that were remaining outside of Tank, I like Tank a lot.
49:54That's why I really would have loved to have gotten Jaden Blue.
49:58I would have went Blue Bigsby. You know, been fine with that.
50:03But to me, out of the other remaining running backs, Harris had just a higher – Okay, but that's my point is like you like Trey Harris.
50:13That's why you put a receiver there. But if Jaden Blue falls there, you would have went running back, running back, which is – Yes.
50:22I'm just saying – I'm not talking – Exactly.
50:26I'm talking in terms of building out these rounds.
50:29That's what I'd be more inclined to do because I'm looking at Kincaid as our wide receiver six.
50:36Or I would have went with the guy that's still available at the top.
50:41I like the Samson kid and he's in similar situation to Blue.
50:45My only thing is totally different offense. Exactly. I think Blue is just in a way better situation.
50:52That's why I think there is a drop-off. Like if Blue made it, running back, running back for me.
50:59But once Blue goes, it's like, okay, Judkins goes down.
51:03I'm not excited. He's not going to be – And I do like Samson, but he's not getting a carry inside the five.
51:11No, but here's what Samson does have going for him.
51:15A, their offensive line is atrocious. Their team is going to be one of the worst.
51:21And that means they're going to be in a lot of negative game scripts playing from behind.
51:27And Quinchan Junkins is coming off a major injury.
51:30How much of – is he going to be a 28-touch back?
51:35Like Samson's going to be in there on third downs.
51:39Two-minute drills could be Samson as well. You're looking at a guy that could be like a little PPR cheat code this late.
51:47I do like him, Chris. I would make valid points.
51:51Him or Tala – I can't say the guy's name.
51:55Tala Algier, those would have been the two running backs that I think were left that you could argue over Trey Harris there for what we have.
52:05I think Algier is a little mispriced now. And I get it.
52:09The whole picture, trust me, everybody listening. You know, the Jeremiah Love, they gave him these top three.
52:16It's his show. And it will be, 100%. But they paid Algier too, and they brought him in.
52:22And he's a solid back. Like you're getting a guy in the 13th, 14th, 15th rounds in these drafts that's probably going
52:31to get eight, 10 touches a game here. And maybe Love struggles early in the season before they really turn it over to him.
52:39Algier could be a 60 rushing yards a game and a touchdown type running back, and you're getting him this late.
52:47So, you know, it's somebody to put on your team as RB6 and let it play out.
52:54I have no doubt Algier is going to play.
52:57Oh, yeah. It's going to be the similar situation to the Bijan rookie here where they didn't sign him for him to not play.
53:06Even though I think Jeremiah Love is very good and very talented, it just – sometimes organizations, man, they're just not well run.
53:14And they make decisions that scratch your head. And you think like, okay, well, common sense is you take a guy third overall in the draft.
53:24You've got to play the kid, right? Sure. And they will.
53:28So I might – let's see. Hold on a second.
53:32Here's a – let me go to the private chat.
53:35I like running backs here. Mm-hmm. You see the guy I put – the last guy, Matt?
53:42I just put it in the private chat right now.
53:45I can't see on my frigging iPad. I can't see past four or five players.
53:51Got to struggle with the iPad. Continue. Hold on one second.
53:55I mean, what's remaining would be him or – I like what I just put in the top.
54:02This is what I would do. I'm just saying.
54:05I don't know. The top two guys it would be for me.
54:10Okay, yeah. I like those two guys a lot too.
54:13So, yeah. I agree with Chris. I would go with those top two.
54:18Yeah. I'd go with number one. I'm good with number one.
54:22Yeah, we have – The other guy I want to talk about a little bit.
54:28Okay. You guys good with one? Yeah, go on.
54:31Especially that we have – what's his name? Yeah.
54:34Yeah. That makes sense. That's why I didn't understand why he wasn't on the top of the queue.
54:41I was thinking about it for where we took tank, to be honest.
54:46I was just adding guys and then I was going to move them up and down.
54:52All right. So, the guy here. I like number two a lot.
54:56I'm telling you right now. Well, no, it's not number two.
55:00I have to look, Dan. I don't know. He keeps moving down the list.
55:06Hold on. Hold on. He's number four. Yeah, we can't get a solid number on these things because they moved.
55:13All right. Refresh. Refresh. All right. One or two, you're saying?
55:17I like number two. I think we go two for a simple reason.
55:22If we're going that way, I mean, I think it's obvious why we would take number two.
55:28Yep. Let's see. You're saying insurance? We're buying Geico?
55:32Yeah. I mean, you've done it before, you know.
55:35I hear you. I've seen the JFs do it.
55:38Yeah. No, listen. I'm not making fun of you.
55:42I was just making a joke about it. But it makes sense for me.
55:47I don't know. I mean, I do love the top guy, but I think it makes sense for us here.
55:54Yeah. I'm good with the second guy. All right.
55:57So now we find out if we get sniped or not.
56:02Top guy is good, too. Stop looking at the board.
56:05K-Tron Allen. That's going to be fun watching that this month.
56:09So here's my question. I have this down as a topic, guys, and now that we passed it.
56:16At what point in these drafts, you notice this year, everybody is getting two quarterbacks, right?
56:22And even the guys that draft Burrow and Josh Allen and Lamar are not waiting like the old days.
56:29You know, I'd say two plus years ago, if you got one of those top three, four, five quarterbacks, you were waiting
56:37until round 19 or 20, just putting some scrub backup quarterback.
56:41But with the injuries and everything like that, a lot of people, even if they draft a quarterback in that top four,
56:49five, six round range this year, are still going back into round 11 or 12 and getting a decent backup.
56:57You know, whoever the names are. We chose not to here.
57:01We chose not to here with Josh Allen. You know, Herbert owner went and got Purdy.
57:07I'm trying to look. Drake May guy. The Drake May owner went out and got Baker Mayfield.
57:13Drake May is basically a QB, too. The Lamar owner went and got Tyler Shuck.
57:19Jaden Daniels owner went and got Dart. So one guy I would love.
57:24I would feel comfortable and I would put him up against a lot of the guys that went late.
57:31A lot of the quarterbacks that went late. My question to all of you is in these drafts, which quarterbacks do you
57:39draft that you say, all right, I'm not even thinking about a quarterback and as a top 18 quarterback to backup?
57:47Or are you saying I don't care what quarterback I draft, even if it's a top five guy or Josh Allen, I'm
57:55making sure I get a decent backup quarterback? I'll say this.
57:59I usually have a decent backup quarterback. I like having that.
58:03But when I did the bill stack, I did not.
58:07And I ended up with Bryce Young. Two guys had three quarterbacks.
58:11So you completely punted it. It got to that point, yeah.
58:15So I definitely am in favor of going with the second QB.
58:20I think it's just the way they worked out that those three guys went in the 14th round.
58:26I would have been open to taking one of those guys.
58:30Yep. Agreed. I just – I think the way we built the team, I'm good with all the picks that we made.
58:38I think in the 14th round, if we had gotten Baker or Bo Nix to fall, I think that would have been a good spot for the second.
58:49Otherwise, now I think we push it back a little bit.
58:53And I'm okay with taking a second quarter. I like a couple of guys later.
58:58Mm-hmm. Okay. And Chris, just revisiting your thing. Again, I do really have high expectations for Harris or the opportunity of that if it arose for him.
59:08But I get it. Like I really wanted blue.
59:12So maybe I was just like bummed when blue went.
59:16But the Samson or now's year to me, I get what you're saying.
59:20I mean that we had to owe you the three backs.
59:24But I still – I like this team. I got to say, I think we did a good job with it.
59:32And it would flip for me, guys. You know, like Nelson asked earlier about, you know, if you took Brees Hall in the fourth.
59:41If you take Brees Hall in the fourth and then you skip Ramondre in that round and then you just wait for
59:49your RB3 to be Dobbins, well, now I'm fine with taking Trey Harris in that area.
59:55But here's what I would have done. Like here's the payoff looking back the way it unfolded.
60:02If we went Hall, who I love, and we took May instead of Stevens, then you're like – we got A.J.
60:09Brown, you know. Yeah. But again, we do have a nice bill stack, so I'm not really upset about it.
60:17I think it worked out. I think getting Steven – being what we did, getting the running back there at 7-3 was the right move.
60:26Gotcha. Spiteri from his yacht saying our 10th round pick will be cut by Yom Kippur.
60:32As you look on the board, that's Xavier Worthy.
60:35So Spiteri, not a fan of Xavier Worthy. But, I mean, A.J.
60:40Brown is here. That's a good question. I think it's like the third week of September.
60:46I'm not up on my Jewish holidays, Dan. I will need to – And remember, Nelson doesn't roll on Shabbos.
60:53All right. Oh, Shabbos, whatever. I'm sorry. I wasn't, you know, I wasn't trying to – Dan, is there any way you can move the – Oh, yeah.
61:03September 20th. Dan, can you move the board down or am I on my end?
61:09Yeah, I can. Sorry. I'm slacking. For me, it's – unless you like the other guy.
61:15I like, you know, the guy that I put in there.
61:19But you guys are making the call, so. I'm with you on that.
61:24Nice defensive run here, huh? Yeah. So, I like the one and coming back with three or four.
61:31Or two. I kind of like six over two.
61:34Six. Let's see. Wait, let me go down here, Dan.
61:38Six. I really like six. The guy who you just had is six.
61:42I like. He just went. I got to say, I love this guy, Lee.
61:48You know, I think he should be going with the guys around 14.
61:52He seems to be, you know, healthy. We're on the clock.
61:56You guys good with Washington? Yep. Found it. Yeah, Washington, I was definitely good.
62:02Okay. I don't think we need wide receiver anymore.
62:05What do we got, seven? Yeah. Yeah, so we're good at wide receiver.
62:10Yep. Four, five, six, seven. We need a kicker, defense, and I think maybe a QB and another running back.
62:17Yep. Agreed. You don't like the one that I just put in at the end there?
62:23I don't mind him. I don't mind him at all.
62:27I've been told, woof this team, we should be thrown off the air.
62:32Oh. By who? Wow. I'll give you one, guys.
62:35Got to be the hater. It's either Steve or Spiteri.
62:39It's Spiteri. What do you guys want to do here?
62:42You want to take the defense or you want to punt the defense?
62:47We're not going to get – I would go defense here.
62:51We're not going to get one of those top two to come back to us that we have starred.
62:58Whatever one it is, you pick. You guys decide.
63:02There's one I take all the time. You guys make that decision.
63:06Yeah, I'm good going defense here. All right. Which one?
63:10I think we've got to go to Jags. It looks like the Chargers are already gone.
63:16No? They're there. The Chargers are there. Did they disappear in your cube there?
63:21They took the kicker. They took the kicker. They took the Chargers kicker.
63:26Yeah. Never mind. What's the one you want? I like either one.
63:30I don't care. Take your pick. I said Chargers.
63:34There you go. Nice opening week matchup for Jacksonville at home versus the Browns.
63:39So, I like that. And then the Chargers come right off the board after that.
63:44Another team that has a good first week as an 11-point favorite.
63:49I like their first two weeks. Yeah, their first two weeks are good.
63:54But once we get to this point, I like just streaming defense.
63:58And I just like the Jaguars. Which one? Against the Browns.
64:02Whichever QB it is. There's a lot of nice options with defenses.
64:07I didn't – you know, the more I studied, you know, the defenses this year, I'm like, all right.
64:14You know, there's a good seven or eight defenses that I like.
64:18And if I miss out on all of them, there's a couple that nobody really drafts that I'm kind of into for early season matchups as well.
64:28So, defense I'm not struggling with this year. So, can I just go – Let's just make sure we don't give away
64:36our entire kicker episode that we're going to be running later this month.
64:41Oh, everybody loves the kicker. So, I think I seem – Well, so now we're on kickers.
64:47I think I seem to be harder than you three on Daniel Jones.
64:52No, I was into Daniel Jones. I think they're going to have to pass more too.
64:58Again, seems like he can do everything in camp, fully healthy.
65:02Pretty much, you know, guy was putting up at least 20 points a game.
65:07Wendy, so when you say that, Matt, what do you feel he should be drafted at?
65:13Like, what range? Well, he's going – you know, where is he at?
65:1816th year or 16th? He's a forgotten quarterback. And that's because a month and a half ago, people didn't even know if
65:26he would be there to start the season. So, he was barely getting drafted.
65:32And the biggest mistake drafters make, I say it all the time, is once there's clearer information, once there's new updated information,
65:40us as drafters have a tough time recalibrating where they should go on the board.
65:45Everybody's like, all right, well, now he's going to be there.
65:49He looks good in camp. We know we have to move him up.
65:54But how much do we move him up? And it's kind of the same story as Diggs right now in Washington, right?
66:02You know, nobody knew where he would land if he was playing.
66:07Now everybody's trying to figure out, well, where's a good spot for him on the board?
66:13Probably going to wind up in the top 75, 80, you know?
66:17Yeah. Yeah. Just my opinion. Yeah, for me, right after Nick's win, I think that's, you know, when he should go.
66:25Plain and simple. Like, he should be in that range.
66:29I worry a little bit about his value. Part of his value is his running ability.
66:35Yeah. I don't think he's going to be running.
66:38Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I think he's going to be moving.
66:42I don't think there seems to be any hesitation.
66:46Everything I've read, I've been trying to – maybe I'm wrong, too.
66:50Maybe this is all smoke up the ass that they're blowing out there.
66:55But it seems like he's doing everything. He looks really good.
66:59Again, they keep saying there's no limitations. He's come out and said it.
67:04I have no limitations. You know. Okay. Yep. We have a cue ready over here?
67:09Yeah. I threw a few back-end running backs in there just for fun.
67:14Well, the second guy's hurting out a while. I don't know if he's going to see you guys.
67:21Yeah. He's not really of interest to me now.
67:24Yeah. But I like one. Yeah, I think one.
67:28I just moved him to three. I just moved him to three just because I think that could come back to us.
67:36But the guys – sorry, Chris. So the guys behind us have that position covered.
67:41Yeah. I'm fine with – You know what I'm saying?
67:45Yeah, I would go with what you're saying, Nelson.
67:48Of course, one guy doesn't have one. They have the other positions covered.
67:53Yeah. Let's do it. Yeah, I didn't see that.
67:57Sorry. I should have been looking at that. Okay.
68:00Then hopefully we'll get our choice of one or two on the way back.
68:05I think people are sleeping on Cam Ward. I think Cam Ward is that quarterback that could be like a top 12
68:13guy for the first like six, eight weeks of the year that every – like a Daniel Jones from last year that
68:21was being like his quarterback 20-something and forgotten and then actually starts producing and puts up good numbers each week.
68:29I have a funny feeling about that offense this year.
68:33I'm not sleeping on him. He's my most owned quarterback.
68:36He's playing Cleveland the week. We're going to definitely need him.
68:40He is. Wow. Which kicker do you guys want?
68:44Either one. Either one I'm fine with. Me, I would go 49ers.
68:48I think they've got a better kicker, but it's a free look either way, so I don't care.
68:55Yep. Just so you guys know, Boragalas has been money in training camp so far.
69:00Money. Oh, you got – you must have the crack rock information.
69:05I got the inside information. He's going to be the starting kicker.
69:09Boragalas is kicking them from 60. Did Cole Nelson chowder rock?
69:13Yeah, so with Cam Ward to talk a little bit about him so we can hype him up and get him to go earlier in drafts.
69:23Yeah. Brian Dable, I know for Giants fans probably don't like him, but I think he's a good offensive coordinator.
69:30I think he's kind of overrated though. Better than the situation they had over there last year.
69:37I'll agree with that. I think surrounding Ward with some talent this year with Tate and Wandale Robinson coming over, I think
69:45that's going to help improve the offensive line. And the kid – I got to be honest.
69:51I watched the quarterback on Netflix and the kid just seems like he's all about football.
69:57Yeah. So – I like the person. I think he's a good kid.
70:02I mean, where did he come from? He started at Incarnate Wood, you know, the basketball school, if you know what I'm
70:10Pretty crazy, his story, the way he came out.
70:13Yeah. No, it really is. You know? Yeah. Yeah.
70:17He just like natural talent became a stock quarterback.
70:20Yeah. His parents actually lived down the street from David Hubbard down in Texas.
70:25Oh, there you go. So – You got to send Hubbard to go knock on his door or something.
70:32He knows the whole – he knows the whole – Yeah, I would send you to get his doing is that – Hubbard knows the whole thing.
70:42There's inside information over here. 100%. He said, you know, he talks to the dad, knows the dad.
70:49Yeah. Hubbard's like going for fake dog walks every day.
70:53Fake time as Cam Ward's family. Hey, you again.
70:56How's Wondell Robinson getting along with your fun? I do like Wondell, though.
71:01I do like him. Yeah. I'm with you. But you know what?
71:05A lot of talent. The Carnell Tate news and buzz is really good in camp.
71:11Wondell knows the system with Dayball coming over there.
71:14I've been talking up Gunnar Helm as somebody in the 19th, 20th round that I think could be a top 12, 15 tight end in this system.
71:24The young wide receivers from last year making plays in camp.
71:28Yeah. I mean, yeah. I like I.O. Manor. That's a mouthful.
71:32Nice pronunciation. Very good. Nice pronunciation. But what was crazy about Wondell?
71:37His like – his what do you call it?
71:40His rapture really expanded after Dayball left. He was getting like, you know, deeper passes and stuff instead of the cheat code.
71:48Duke. Duke hits Gunnar Helm and then goes to the pool.
71:52He's got Tyler Warren. He takes three tight ends.
71:56Yeah. Whenever you can back up Warren and Dolchitz in the 20th.
72:00Yeah. You got it. That's it, Duke. Hope you get a royal flush tonight, Duke.
72:06Duke. But, yeah, listen, Cam Ward is one of those guys.
72:10I wouldn't be shocked if, you know, we're in October and he's one of those quarterbacks that's a top 12 fantasy quarterback.
72:18Mm-hmm. You know, think about it. Daniel Jones, Malik Willis, Cam Ward.
72:23There's Darnold down there who – Darnold lit things up last year.
72:27That's four quarterbacks that you're getting after round 16, 17.
72:31That's why, you know, I don't think the Josh Allen drafters are in a, you know, a panic or the Burrow or Lamar Jackson or Drake May guys.
72:41At worst, you're getting one of these guys to back up your quarterback.
72:46In past years, you might be completely empty. Well, the industry people love Malik Willis.
72:51He's everybody. Every industry, you know, and Alice. Yeah, he's their cheat code quarterback.
72:57They're going to be playing from behind. He's going to be – he's going to run with the ball.
73:04He's probably going to get close to 1,000 yards rushing if he stays healthy.
73:09Yeah. There's value. What was the stat? I heard a stat the other day.
73:14It was like 90% of quarterbacks that have ran for – I'm going to butcher this.
73:20It was so bad. It was like Malik Willis like basically can't fail hitting the top 12 fantasy quarterback if he stays on line with his rushing stats.
73:30Yeah. That's why we're going to talk real quick.
73:34Go ahead. What are you going to finish it up with, guys?
73:38I mean, either or. Isaiah Davis is hurt. That was one of my go-tunes late.
73:44Yeah. I like Davis. If he's hurt, go with Randall.
73:47Go Randall. I mean, he's probably the funnest film to watch if you watch that guy's film.
73:54Right. If he ever gets on the field, he gets an opportunity.
73:58Dan likes that one. Dan's a dynasty guy. He likes the Randall pick.
74:03I do. Perfect. I was going to put it to you.
74:07Look at that. And we completed our first live stream of the year.
74:12Yes. Yep. How do we feel? How do we feel about – Matt, I will give you the wheel here.
74:19Judge Nelson and Dan's draft. You know, A, B, C, or D.
74:24What would you give us? Dan, can we go back up to the top of the board and just – Yeah, well,
74:32I'm just looking it off my iPad because I couldn't see that.
74:36All right. I've got to give it a B.
74:40Everybody in the Illuminati chat shits on me with my tech issues, but nobody gets on Modica with his – Just the iPad and the queue.
74:49I can't see past – I don't know why it doesn't move.
74:54It's so annoying. It's so annoying. And we still haven't made any jokes about my Wi-Fi yet.
75:00Fortunately, it's been holding together. But you know that Wi-Fi I was supposed to get last summer.
75:06Supposedly, they're coming tomorrow to install it. So we'll find out.
75:11I think it's like around a B here. I like a lot of the players we took.
75:17I think the – you know, Stevenson, Dobbins, as like Nelson said, they're not sexy picks, but they're anchor picks for like James Cook as our RB2.
75:27We got Bigsby and Ray Davis. I really like that.
75:31The kid Mike Washington, you know, he's a speed demon.
75:34And the receivers I love, and I love the tight ends.
75:38We got Josh Allen. So I don't think, you know – it could have went sideways at one point, maybe in the seventh.
75:47If we didn't get that running back, we would have been thin at the RB position.
75:53I think we'd do it too. Yeah. I'll give it a solid B.
75:58I won't give it an A just because I think our running back room will be the weakness all year.
76:05I think early in the season with Dobbins and Ramondre, we'll be in good shape trying to figure that out.
76:12That'll be the team's, you know, decision every week.
76:16We'll be texting each other who we're going with, Ramondre or JK.
76:20Other than that, I like it. I like Parker Washington as my three.
76:25I like Godwin as a four, worthy as a flyer, and Trey Harris as a five and six.
76:32I love our tight end room. And obviously nobody's going to say anything bad about Josh Allen.
76:38And I like the fact that we handcuffed Pickens.
76:41Like if something happens to Pickens, we got a guy that's going to step in and have a nice role.
76:49Yeah. Or if something happens to Lamb, I mean – Exactly.
76:53Then we're really sitting great. Yeah. I still thought Team 12, how do you not take Pickens?
76:59I think – All right. So let me ask Matt and Chris because you guys kind of took the backseat here.
77:07Where would you have guys gone different with the picks?
77:11Obviously it's in hindsight, so it's a lot easier – In hindsight, if me and Chris were on the wheel, I think Brees Hall probably goes at 411.
77:21Because I'm a Hall guy. Even though I wanted to pick Allen, don't get me wrong.
77:27And I think Chris would have pushed for Brees Hall there.
77:31That's my – that's what I'm thinking. So I think maybe that's where it would have changed.
77:37Well, I mean, I'm not even going to talk about like first round, second round like that.
77:44Like everybody's a stud in the first three rounds.
77:47It's just a matter of the combination you put.
77:50So, Nelson, I'm assuming that the question is more like once you start getting into the fourth round and later, you know?
77:59Yeah. I'm just curious. What would you have taken Brees Hall?
78:03That's basically the question. Well, I would have taken Colston Loveland or Brees Hall right there.
78:09I would have known that I'm getting a solid receiver to come back to me with more Adunze, Parker, Washington, Evans or Harrison on the board still.
78:19I'd probably build it out with getting the elite tight end there with Loveland towards the end.
78:25That Roma Adunze text you sent me last night, Chris, was amazing.
78:29Yeah. Yeah. And then the team could have looked like James Cook, A.J.
78:34Brown, George Pickens, Colston Loveland, Parker, Washington. Maybe it's more of a heavy wide receiver with an elite tight end.
78:42Could have went that route or obviously the Brees Hall route, you know?
78:46I don't know how many teams I'm going to have with Josh Allen just because I think it's so valuable to get
78:55that either elite tight end, extra big RB2 or, you know, big time wide receiver still in that range.
79:02So that's it. Yeah. And that's what I was saying is that on Tuesday, I was saying, you know, Josh Allen's not
79:10a guy I expect to own a lot of.
79:13But, you know, here was a chance to grab him at what I thought was a reasonable price.
79:20You know, let's get the build in there and, you know, see what happens.
79:25I become more interested in Allen when I have Cook, you know, I do like that marriage.
79:31I just think you have a possibility of locking up like 50 to maybe 55 touchdowns.
79:37Catching you passes. And I think Cook is going to catch passes this year.
79:42If that happens, then that's really golden. Let's throw it right back to you guys.
79:48You know, you gave me a different version of it.
79:52But let's take Josh Allen off this team and put Colston Loveland in there or Brees Hall.
79:58All right. Let's just go with Brees Hall. I think you have to rather replace Ramondre Stevenson with Lamar Jackson or Drake May, where we took Ramondre.
80:08I would have taken him. And have Brees Hall where Josh Allen is?
80:13Yes. So for this particular draft, yes. But knowing my mindset is a little bit different, only because I'm doing a lot of volume.
80:22So I do look at it from a different perspective of, okay, my Josh Allen teams that I have so far look
80:30like they're like it's not ideal when I look at the quarterbacks where they go.
80:35Like all of a sudden Drake May goes in the seventh round.
80:40I'm like, I'd rather have Drake than Josh Allen in the fourth.
80:44And then you look and you're like, wait a minute, Lamar in the eighth round every once in a while or Jaden
80:52Daniels in the ninth round every once in a while.
80:56I look back and I'm like, I want that pick back.
81:00But the thing that I can't guess on, like my teams look better without Josh Allen is what I'm trying to say.
81:08But in the shootout, I'm playing a tournament, right?
81:12And we're trying to win a 300K. What if Josh Allen just puts up two or three monster weeks in the shootout and he's the difference maker?
81:22And then I'm sitting there saying, okay, I had 400 teams this year and no Josh Allen.
81:28I ain't winning any overall titles. To me, that's stupid.
81:32So, like I'm looking at it from a different perspective of, yes, the teams don't look as good and as crisp with Josh Allen in the fourth round.
81:42But what if he is the difference maker? I mean, to me, as I said, it made sense with James Cook.
81:50I liked the way we were thinking. And when we were on the clock, it was the right move just because DJ Moore was still on the board.
82:00And I see a lot of people starting to try and put that combo together.
82:06We had a good shot being that, you know, it was 46th overall.
82:11We're on the board. And, you know, we had a good shot of getting DJ to come back to us.
82:18I don't think it would have worked either way.
82:21Meaning if we took Moore, I don't think Allen comes back.
82:26Oh, no. I wasn't saying that at all. Josh Allen wasn't going to get any further than 46.
82:32But I'm saying, like, taking him there, knowing DJ Moore was still on the board, we could have easily – that was
82:40an easy decision for us to take Allen. And hope this – you know, it was probably a good 50-50 shot at
82:49that point that DJ Moore came back to us.
82:52Yep. I like Parker Washington more than DJ Moore.
82:55So I'm happy, you know. But Kincaid was the fallback stack there.
83:00And as it turned out, we even got, I think, a decent discount on Kincaid as well.
83:06I think getting Kincaid is really nice. Like Chris said and we said on the show, having that second tight end.
83:14But the three wide receivers we have on our depth, you know, is really nice, I think.
83:20You know, they're just really nice upside guys. And they're all on good offenses.
83:25Yeah. Let's see. And we got probably the two best handcuffs.
83:29And I don't even think Ray Davis is that good.
83:33But they don't have anybody else and he's going to play.
83:37You know, he's going to play a ton. Let's hit these other 11 teams real quick and let's get out of here if you want.
83:46Let's take each team, you know, starting straight down the middle.
83:50Dan, you want to take team one? Quick thoughts.
83:54If anybody has something that they see that they want to jump in, go ahead.
83:59Yeah. I thought overall team one was pretty well constructed.
84:03I was with Nelson. The third tight end seemed a little excessive.
84:08But, you know, it's fine. I like the Goff love pairing at quarterback.
84:12I think that worked really well. Especially with having, you know, Golden and Chris Watson.
84:18You know, obviously love makes sense. And, you know, Goff and Gibbs, he's kind of got the same thing going as we've got with Allen and Cook.
84:28Obviously, Goff is not Allen. But I like how the team was put together.
84:33This is not a traditional Duke build, though. I will say.
84:37Like, doing a lot of these, you know, we've got to change it up.
84:42Yeah. Okay. Go to team two. Anybody else? Team one?
84:46Team. Go ahead. You want to do team two, Matt?
84:50Yeah, I'll do team two. Go ahead. I just think if you take Chase and you just ignore the position, you're just taking that advantage away from you.
85:00Like, again, you want to go three running backs?
85:04Okay, that's excessive. But taking the fourth running back there was, you know, I think that's going to hurt him.
85:11Let me, the first glaring issue I see with, if you got Jacobs in love and you go double running back after
85:19that, you come back around and T Higgins is sitting in your lap in the fourth round to start putting the Chase Higgins burrow stack together.
85:29And you didn't have to move them up. You didn't have to move T Higgins up.
85:35You know, that Kyron Williams pick right there should be T Higgins 100 out of 100 times, in my opinion.
85:42And then you go on from there. Yep. I agree with that.
85:47I think. Kyron was a very head scratching pick to me.
85:51I mean, if you guys have seen me on my live streams, I've been saying that whatever, you take Jacobs in the
85:59second round, whatever running back, you know, you like.
86:02Okay, that's fine. But that 3-4 turn, I really think has to be wide receiver, wide receiver.
86:08That's got to be Garrett Wilson, T Higgins there.
86:12Yeah. Yeah. Agreed. I'll take team three just because I love this build.
86:17I like building this year like this with Bowers.
86:20This is how I would build with Brock Bowers is big RB.
86:24You know, you get a running back in round one, your bell cow.
86:29You take Bowers in round two. And then you go five straight wide receivers.
86:34He gets Burden, Higgins, Harrison, Tate, and Jaden Reed to go with.
86:39You have to look at Bowers as an elite wide receiver one.
86:43And you already have your bell cow. And then you start hitting green after that.
86:49He gets Caleb Williams, who I think is a top 10 fantasy quarterback.
86:54He pairs it with Burden up top. This was put together really nice, in my opinion.
87:00You're not going to love his running backs, his RB2.
87:03Well, actually, I'm sorry. He's got Jalen Warren. He snuck in there as a solid RB2.
87:09And then he builds out his running back bench there.
87:13I really like the way that's built. I like that team this year.
87:18Yeah, Aaron Jones and Zach Charbonnet actually kind of go together pretty well, I think, because you get some early production from
87:26Jones and then hopefully some later production from Charbonnet.
87:29Yeah, same thing with Algier. I like the Algier pick more than those two.
87:34Yeah, same thing. I mean, they could go well together and get no production out of both.
87:41Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Can we just – I'm not a fan of Aaron Jones or Charbonnet there.
87:47I think once I have Jalen Warren here, I look at it as like, okay, he's the safe guy, the solid guy
87:56that I can put in as my RB2. He's going to catch passes.
88:00He keeps me afloat. After that, I'm trying to hit home runs with those picks.
88:06Charbonnet coming off an ACL that he suffered in the playoffs, I think that's early for him to come back and be explosive.
88:15Aaron Jones is just not a guy I'm really interested in.
88:19Algier, I don't mind. Emmitt Johnson, I don't mind.
88:22But I would have liked those two picks to be like more of like younger, explosive guys that they might not have
88:30a floor, but they have more of a ceiling than those guys.
88:35Yeah. Before we move on and Nelson breaks down team four, I just want to ask you guys, do you guys have
88:43an ideal build with how you're drafting Brock Bowers this year?
88:47I don't know if any of you want to answer that, but have you guys come up with a – have you
88:55guys come up with a solid way that you like taking the early tight end in Bowers?
89:01I'll say this. If I just started like Robinson Bowers, I definitely want to have four wide receivers in my next five rounds.
89:10I still want to keep hitting that. I mean, let's take Bijan out of it for a second.
89:16Say it was Chase Brown, Bowers. I definitely want to have at least four wide receivers in the next five.
89:24I think team three did it – sorry, Dan, go ahead.
89:28No, you got it. If I'm building a Bijan Bowers team, I think team three executed properly up until – You know what?
89:36I think Denzel Boston in the 10th round is probably overdoing it, to be honest.
89:42I'm probably going back – running back well at that point.
89:46But up until round nine, I think he executed that properly.
89:50That's how I would want to build Bowers' team.
89:54If you took Boston out, Nelson, and you put either Keaton Mitchell or Kyle Monungay for like a little bear stack.
90:01R.J. Harvey. R.J. Harvey. Upside of Harvey maybe? I don't mind Harvey in the background.
90:07Even if you're a Bill guy. I mean, I'm – Yeah.
90:11Yeah, I agree with that. And I like – I do like Boston.
90:16Again, like you said. Because, again, so he went with the four wide and then Jaden Reed in the seventh before his RB2.
90:24You've already put your stamp on it that you've gone with the five wide.
90:30That fifth wide receiver is going to be your rotational guy.
90:34I think Denzel Boston with the hype and everything, I'm okay with him.
90:38But I need to get a better deal on him for this type of build.
90:44I'm not taking him as my sixth before I take my third running back.
90:49Yeah, that's why I hate when I see people draft like that sixth wide receiver like in the first nine rounds.
90:57It's like, you know, for me – and people do it a lot.
91:02Like, buddy, you know, like your fifth wide receiver is in case you top four if somebody goes down or you got to substitute it.
91:11Like you need running backs or other positions. How is your wide receiver six going to play a major role for you
91:19that you needed him so desperately where you ignore the other positions that you're going to need on a weekly basis?
91:27And that's something that always, you know, rubs me the wrong way.
91:31But go ahead. Nelson, back to you. Team four.
91:35Team four. Team four. You know, I know Jody and I like the way he's building his teams.
91:41That's – you know, I have a lot of Puka teams and they look very similar to it where – although, you
91:50know, Jaden Daniel – He's got the blueprint, Nelson.
91:53He got your blueprint. He's got the blueprint, man.
91:56Is he in the Discord? No, I don't think so.
92:00I don't know. No, he's not in the Discord.
92:03I don't know if he's a FTN subscriber or not.
92:07I haven't looked at the sign-up list. But I know Jody definitely – You're from Boston.
92:13He's from Boston. You know, we're both Boston guys.
92:16You know. So, you know, he's in the live streams and everything.
92:21And, you know, I like the build. Except, you know, Jaden Daniels in the seventh.
92:26I, you know, I was getting some deals, you know, with Daniels in the ninth.
92:32But I think maybe with the dig signing now, you know, we're paying a little bit of a tax on him.
92:40But Montgomery in the fifth round, you know, I'm a big Montgomery fan this year.
92:45Price, you know, hype guy, rookie, you know, getting some hype.
92:49So, I understand they're in the sixth round. You know, Rashad White in the eighth.
92:55Pairs him with JCM in the tenth round. Gets Laporta, Kittle.
92:59It's – I don't care, like, about the rest.
93:02I'm just focused more on just kind of, like, the structure in the first, like, 10, 11 rounds.
93:09It's – that's a solid team. That's how I like it.
93:13Yeah. Yeah, I like that team. Solid build. Dan, back to you, five.
93:18Wait a minute. Jody just say I'm not a subscriber.
93:22Sorry. What the fuck kind of shit is that?
93:25Yeah, Jody. You didn't have to rub it in.
93:28Kick up the money. Kick up the money, Jody.
93:32Don't be cheating. Here, let me make you feel better.
93:35All right? There you go. We got a subscriber here.
93:39There you go. I see these things cut off.
93:42I can't read the comments. I don't know if it's just on my computer or – I don't know.
93:49I don't know. Could be Team 5, you know, if it's 2020.
93:54It's a good team. Team 5 is you, Dan, right?
93:58Yeah. That's it? Team 5, good team? Done? Dan's analysis.
94:01That's it, guys. We're moving on to Team 6.
94:05If it's 2020, sure, I'll take this team. But it's way too old for me.
94:10I mean – Yeah, wow. Yeah. That's a lot of age right there.
94:15That's a lot of age. You know, and, you know, Lamar Jackson is probably, you know, he's old for a running quarterback.
94:23I mean, there's just – I like the design of it, I guess, you know, as far as, like, you know, the double running back.
94:32Well, I don't know. I mean, I'd rather have – I'd rather have that Javante Williams be a wide receiver there, too.
94:41So, I don't know. Okay. I guess I shouldn't say much.
94:45I can't – I don't have too much positive to say.
94:49Oaf. Like your mom used to say, if you don't have anything good to say, don't say it at all.
94:56That's right. There you go. Try to get around it by saying it's a good team for 2020.
95:03Team 6? Yeah. I mean, I like the way it was built.
95:07I might differ on, you know, some of the players as you went on, but I do like the way it was built.
95:16You know, he's got the four receivers, the two running backs.
95:20Mm-hmm. You know, got the mobile quarterback there in Hertz.
95:24Got that. Yep. I think when he did a tight end, for waiting on tight end, getting a likely, strange combo is really good.
95:33And as much as I'm a Tootin guy, I think the price you get on Chris Rodriguez is phenomenal.
95:40You know, I think he's still going to be involved.
95:43And I do like Tootin. And even if he wasn't, he's just a great contingent price if you like the Jaguars offense.
95:51So I do like what Team 6 did. Would you guys have taken Goddard over Likely, given that you have Hertz and women?
96:00Yeah, I would have did that. Not looking yet.
96:03I would have went with Goddard over Likely. Wait for that situation.
96:08I think that's the main thing. I would have done different.
96:12Yeah, good spot, Dan. Yeah, I agree with that.
96:15But the build, the structure, whatever you want to say, I think he did a good job.
96:21Yeah. All right, I'm up Team 7. Look at this shit show.
96:26This guy's lost without his card. Nightly basis. The Odyssey.
96:30This guy must be drunk on a beach somewhere.
96:33His internet probably went out in the first round.
96:36Nah, let's see. You know what? This isn't Steve's best work, in my opinion.
96:42But you get to a point in round four where you got to take the value on Trey McBride.
96:49And I'm sure Steve probably went into this draft after taking Brown in the first.
96:54Who I love. Listen, you know, he takes him in the first.
96:59I have no issue with that. I'm just busting his balls.
97:03You take London and Rice. He probably was going to go hit a third receiver in round four.
97:09We're seeing a lot of drafters fall into this, you know, predicament.
97:14In drafts is where Trey McBride keeps sliding into, like, the fourth round a lot.
97:19And then everybody that's on the clock in the fourth round is like, shit, I didn't expect this.
97:26I really wanted to go wide receiver heavy. But here's Trey McBride.
97:30And how do I not take him here? And Steve was the guy that landed on Trey McBride in this draft, middle of the fourth round.
97:40Probably have to do it. And there you have it.
97:44I like what he did with Scadaboo as his RB2.
97:48That's solid. And then anytime I could get Jonathan Brooks as my RB3, where I don't have to stuff him into my
97:56starting lineup right off the bat early in the season, I'll take that.
98:00He gets an elite top three quarterback, however you want to look at May this year.
98:06And then his wide receiver room is obviously going to be his issue all year long when you have Jordan Addison as
98:15your three, Pierce as your four, and a rookie as your five.
98:19And six. So that's the way I look at that team.
98:23Okay. Fair. All right. We're going to team eight.
98:26Nelson is up again, right? Nelson's on eight. So I don't like team eight.
98:32I don't like the, you know, Taylor and Barkley.
98:35I'm not going to talk too much about the players necessarily because that's all opinion-based.
98:41Although the structure is opinion-based also, but I just don't think you can go for running backs in, in this format.
98:48Yeah. Um, so I feel like once you go Taylor and Barkley, uh, in the fourth round, he was probably thinking like
98:57ETN is just higher on his board than, than most guys.
99:01And he was kind of stuck at receiver. Uh, but I feel you got to get a, a solid number two at
99:09wide receiver and Stefan digs and Sutton is just not doing it for me.
99:14And then once you take the third running back, you have no choice, but to go wide receiver, I think in the
99:22fifth round and taking Trevi on there. Um, I, I think it just kind of went off the rails, uh, at that
99:30point because I just don't want digs and Sutton as my two and three.
99:35You got, you know, Debo as your, your fourth guy, you're taking Rico Dowdle as a fifth tight end, uh, fifth, you know, running back.
99:45Before worrying about tight end and quarterback. It's just, I think we, uh, I think we were struggling here with this one.
99:53Uh, so yeah. So one of the, the viewers said FFPC build, um, it would definitely look a little better in the
100:01FFPC, but I still, you know, even, even there, I don't know.
100:05Yeah. Dan, I think you're back up, team nine.
100:09Yeah. Looks good. Matt's up. Right. Okay. I'll do, I'll do nine then.
100:14Matt. Yeah. I mean, nine, nine is, uh, again, I like this build you're getting, he's got the five receivers.
100:21You got, I mean, Walker, I really like, I'm a toot and truther.
100:26So he's got the five receivers. You get in a, you know, top end style, you know, that second tier of tight
100:34ends, you're getting pits, you get Trevor Lawrence. I mean, if you can get Trevor Lawrence or Herbert, you know, in that
100:42range where, you know, they're giving you it this year.
100:46So you, I think you got to jump on it there.
100:50I do really like the three running backs. He hit, he went with Keaton, Jonah Coleman and Jaden blue.
100:57I think that's just a ton of upside. So, I mean, I, I think this was, you know, done really well.
101:05It's a really good player too. So I'm not shocked by that, but I think he just hit it perfectly.
101:12Like I said, I really liked that running back threesome there from Mitchell to blue.
101:18Who doesn't love a good threesome, Matt? Ed, who's team 10 is us.
101:23We already did that. Yeah. So Dan's 11. Yeah, I'll take 11.
101:27Yeah. I think team 11, 11 is a, a pretty solid build at honestly.
101:32Um, you know, you're double tapping running back. Um, I think I'd probably, instead of Brees Hall, I might've been tempted to,
101:40uh, go wide receiver, like wide receiver at the four or five turn, but I don't hate Hall either there.
101:48Um, you know, if he gets a, if he gets a good solid, you know, wide receiver three, I think this team is real, really good shape.
101:58Um, overall looks like a, a good solid build to me.
102:02What do you guys think? Yeah, I like that.
102:05Um, yeah, I like this team. I don't have any issue with it.
102:10doing Zay Quentin and Michael Wilson to complete a room.
102:14Uh, now Michael Wilson and Quentin Johnston are basically fighting for one spot each week in the starting lineup.
102:21You don't need to play both of them. So, uh, you got a solid top eight tight end.
102:28You get a solid tape type, uh, top eight quarterback.
102:31Um, I like it. And you got three big time running backs in my opinion, and Jensie Hampton and Hall with an
102:39elite wide receiver one and a Dunze who I like.
102:43I won't quit a Dunze. I won't give up on him.
102:47So, solid, solid. Chris, one in Rome, Vaccaro. One in Rome, baby.
102:52Uh, I'll close it. Nelson, you want to take team 12?
102:56Go ahead. That's fine. so I do like this type of build from the back end of the draft.
103:03I've actually done this where I've had CD and Jefferson fall and started with, uh, three wide.
103:09I don't know if I have the team with Loveland.
103:13Um, I think it might've been, uh, four wide with a running back and then came back with an elite quarterback, um, possibly.
103:21So I like this type of build. Um, um, man, I love this.
103:26Yeah. Yeah. I, it, and, and I liked the running backs that he took.
103:31So he took a little bit of, you know, high floor, safe guys, you know, start off the season week one, you know, in Mason and, and Chuba.
103:42I don't, I'm not a fan of Chuba, but I understand the pick.
103:47It makes sense for the structure of the team.
103:50And then you got Corum, who's kind of like the home run guy that if something happens to Kyron, I like Tracy
103:58Samson, you know, at Shahid as your fifth, your elite with, at QB and tight end.
104:04It it's, that's my type of build. but do you like these running backs to be every week guys?
104:11See, this is this, this right here is your type of bill Nelson.
104:16And this is what I struggle with. I'll be honest.
104:20This is probably where our drafting. I would have made one.
104:24Let me just throw this disclaimer out, Matt. And then you make your point.
104:29It's my type of build. It's an uncomfortable build.
104:32I'm not saying that this is like, it's my cup of tea, Chris, but it's not my preferred build.
104:39I'm just saying that I understand the build and what he, what he's doing.
104:44Go ahead. I just said like the fifth round, if you take a, put a scatter boo or Montgomery there, you know, you change that.
104:54I think it's really good. What, what about this?
104:57I mean, I don't necessarily like having Joe Burrow uncorrelated while you're still looking for your first running back.
105:04Um, you know, to me, you know, of course you don't know that this is going to happen, but he, he would
105:12have been much better off if he'd have taken Mondray, um, and Corum instead of Burrow and Corum, and then come back
105:20in the ninth round with Herbert or Lawrence. But hasn't Burrow been the guy, even like four point passing, like the two
105:29years he's been healthy, he was like second and fourth.
105:32So I, listen, he's been healthy, but you know, I don't know.
105:37There's so much to, there's so much to talk about.
105:40With this team, uh, Nelson, I hear what you're saying.
105:44And, and Dan, to your point, uh, I'm never going to pass up the elite quarterback like that.
105:51When I get this build, I'm going for it.
105:54Give me as much elite as I can get.
105:57You have three stud number one receivers. You got a top three elite tight end, and now you got a top four elite quarterback in, in Burrow.
106:07And you're just going to make your weakness, the running back.
106:12I can't do this. Okay. I can't do it.
106:15And I think Matt hit it on the head is I got to replace DJ more with a better running back.
106:23One in two and scataboo Swift. Somebody I know is touching the ball 15, 20 times a week because Nelson, to your point.
106:31Yeah. I hear everything you're saying, but when I go down there and there's Corum Mason and Hubbard, that could be seven
106:39points and five points in week one for each of these two guys that are in your starting running back.
106:47And I don't care what your receivers and elite tight end are doing.
106:52They could give you 22, 25 points each week.
106:55When my running back positions, one and two, give me a seven and a five.
107:00I'm capped. So I think we all like Colston Loveland this year.
107:05And with building a zero running back team, that's kind of like the blueprint of how to build it.
107:12You, you take an edge at potentially QB and tight end.
107:16But what I will say is if, if you go kind of to Matt's point, basically Matt's point, you go scataboo or
107:24Montgomery there instead of Loveland with DJ more. Now you got the four wide with a running back.
107:31And then you come back around and you decide you take, you know, burrow there with another running back and you can get tight end.
107:40Look where we took Fannin. So there, if he goes ahead, he's already got his running backs and he's got his quarterbacks
107:48and he double taps tight end or takes Fannin there.
107:52That team is a lot better now. Yeah. That's fair way.
107:56I think you feel more all these years. Let me just say this real quick.
108:02I think in past years, everybody's been in love with the four wide receiver star and an elite tight end, and then go the zero RB route.
108:12I just think nowadays three wide receivers and the elite tight end is good enough.
108:17And then you got to start your running back room with some of these guys in that fifth, sixth round.
108:25I think there's a huge drop off after that.
108:28I think you got to clip one of them just because of the wide receivers that you can then come back to
108:36in the six, seventh, eighth round range as you're four and five.
108:41And that's the flip for me back in the day.
108:44Yeah. I'd, I'd be leading the charge, uh, you know, with everybody as the guy that wants to go for wide receivers,
108:52give me an elite tight end and an elite quarterback.
108:56And then I'll stop putting my running back room together.
109:00But these are all number twos, Corum, Mason, Hubbard.
109:03Some of them are threes in my opinion. You know, we all love Corum, but shit week one, he can come out
109:11and get 47 rushing yards on one catch. And it's six points.
109:16And unless you're top of your board there, lamb, Jefferson, Collins, and Loveland are all 30, 30, 27 and 25.
109:23And Burrow goes for a 38. Like, you know, you, I don't want to repeat myself, but you're kind of capping yourself.
109:31So I need one running back in there somewhere.
109:35And that's DJ Moore spot. All right. All right.
109:38Anything else, gentlemen? I think that's it. I think that was a successful first, uh, online stream.
109:44We'll be back right then. I let you take it from here, but we'll be doing these every Thursday, uh, for the next three weeks.
109:54And, uh, looking forward to that. Anybody who's still, uh, who's still listening, me and Nelson will be going at midnight tonight
110:02in the live stream for the hour. Yeah, sure.
110:05Get the ice coffee. Oh, I was just going to say ice coffee.
