Blake Corum

PositiveValue55:46

Blake Corum is viewed as a clear buy on value compared to Kyren Williams, with an ADP in the back of the ninth round and a trade value ranking of RB32. The source highlights his efficiency, noting a 5.14 yards-per-carry average and a 59.3% success rate last year. While he currently operates in a 40% role, the source suggests he is undervalued relative to his potential and the consensus rankings.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeProjection75:26

The source is fading Brian Thomas Jr. in dynasty, citing concerns about the Jaguars' coaching staff, scheme, and Trevor Lawrence's inability to consistently deliver accurate deep balls.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveRole79:38

The source has become more bullish on Carnell Tate after seeing him play the Z-receiver role in the preseason, which allows him more flexibility than being pigeonholed as an X-receiver.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveUsage62:51

Chase Brown is positioned for a massive workload in the Bengals' offense, with no significant competition for carries, goal-line work, or passing-down snaps. The team's improved offensive line and the consolidation of the offense around Burrow, Chase, and Higgins make him a high-upside dynasty target at his current cost.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveValue74:14

The source is excited about Christian Watson's potential, noting that while it is a close call against DJ Moore, the age gap makes Watson a compelling dynasty asset despite not having proven it for a full season yet.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveBreakout68:52

The source is extremely bullish on DJ Moore in the Bills offense, comparing his arrival to Stefon Diggs' impact on Josh Allen. Moore is expected to be Allen's favorite target due to his route running, improvisation skills, and ability to win downfield, with the team planning to establish him early in games.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveUsage11:59

Dalton Schultz is projected to see approximately 120 targets this season as the Texans may shift toward more 12 personnel following the Jaden Higgins injury; he is considered the most reliable pass-catching option in the short term.

Insight page

Gunnar Helm

PositiveSleeper45:01

Gunner Helm is identified as a sleeper tight end prospect that the hosts are monitoring, with the speaker noting they like him as a target in dynasty formats.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeValue52:02

Jamar Chase remains an elite asset, but the hosts discuss scenarios where trading him for multiple usable starters makes sense, particularly in deep leagues (start 11 or 12). In a recent blockbuster trade, Chase was moved for Nico Collins, Jalen Waddle, and Basial Tootin, a move justified by the need to fill multiple starting spots with high-end talent rather than relying on depth.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveValue73:48

In dynasty formats, the source prefers Jameson Williams over DJ Moore, citing the age difference as the deciding factor for long-term value.

Insight page

Jayden Higgins

PositiveInjury2:26

Jaden Higgins suffered a season-ending ACL tear, which is a major blow to his dynasty value and the team's offensive plans; the source notes he was a model darling on the verge of a second-year breakout.

Insight page
NegativeValue70:17

Jayden Higgins was selected at the 10.12 spot in a dynasty startup draft, serving as the consolation pick after the source failed to secure Terrence Ferguson.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeValue83:43

While the source sees no signs of a downturn for Josh Allen, they suggest that in dynasty leagues, trading him for a younger quarterback plus additional assets could be a viable strategy to maintain contender status while cashing in on his peak value.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveRole19:06

The signing of Keenan Allen is viewed as a significant negative for Josh Downs' fantasy outlook, as it threatens his target share and role in the offense; the source compares this to the impact Keenan Allen had on Ladd McConkey last year.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveUsage20:45

Keenan Allen remains a high-volume target earner, with the source noting he still draws a 25% plus target per route run share; he is expected to be a primary option for the Colts.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeUsage55:46

Kyren Williams remains the primary back in the Rams' offense, maintaining a 60-40 split over Blake Corum. Despite skepticism regarding his efficiency, he continues to be effective with a 4.83 yards-per-carry average and a 62.9% success rate. The source notes he is difficult to trade because he is often valued as a top-20 running back, but owners are struggling to get that return in the current market.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

NegativeBust82:00

The source describes the signals for Omar Cooper as 'terrible,' noting poor movement in drills compared to Garrett Wilson and dropped passes, making him a significant concern despite his first-round draft capital.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeValue40:42

The source expresses significant concern regarding Puka Nacua's off-field behavior, including recent incidents and a lack of a contract extension, which has led them to treat him as a 'stay away' in dynasty formats. While acknowledging his elite on-field talent, the source notes that the risk is currently too high and the price is unreasonable, suggesting that owners might consider selling him for a 'bounty' or a haul of younger assets if they are worried about the long-term outlook, particularly the post-Matthew Stafford window.

Insight page

Tahj Brooks

PositiveSleeper64:57

The source expresses more interest in Taj Brooks than Samaje Perine as the primary backup to Chase Brown, noting that Brooks was ranked between 15 and 20 in last year's running back class.

Insight page
NegativeDepth Chart65:07

Taj Brooks is noted as a preferred handcuff option over Samaje Perine in the Bengals' backfield, though he remains a speculative depth piece behind Chase Brown.

Insight page

Tank Dell

PositiveBreakout5:37

Tank Dell is viewed as a primary beneficiary of the Jaden Higgins injury; the source highlights him as a model darling who has already proven he can be a startable fantasy asset.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveBreakout45:36

Terrence Ferguson is a high-upside breakout candidate due to his role in the Rams' 13 and 12 personnel packages and the lack of a clear third wide receiver. The coaching staff has praised his versatility, including his ability to play all three wide receiver positions and his after-the-catch skills. If he maintains his current opportunity, he could see a significant target share increase, especially if Puka Nacua or Davante Adams were to miss time.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper66:57

The source considers Terrence Ferguson a high-priority target, ranking him as a top-12 tight end (around TE10-11) despite his lower ADP. The source emphasizes that dynasty managers should trust their own boards over ADP, as Ferguson is a valuable asset in tight-end premium formats, even if he is currently being drafted in the 10th round.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeValue72:47

While the source acknowledges McLaurin's game may age better than DJ Moore's, they prefer Moore for the current season due to concerns regarding the Washington offense and quarterback situation.

Insight page

Ty Simpson

NegativeProjection51:44

The source suggests that Ty Simpson's presence in the Rams' system helps mitigate future risk regarding the team's quarterback situation post-Matthew Stafford, as he will have time to develop within the scheme.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeDepth Chart28:42

Tyron Tracy's opportunity is in jeopardy after a poor preseason performance in pass protection; the source suggests the team signed Najee Harris specifically to handle the duties Tracy failed to execute.

Insight page

Xavier Hutchinson

NegativeRole10:55

Xavier Hutchinson is part of the rotation expected to fill the void left by Jaden Higgins, though the source expects the production behind Nico Collins to be muted overall.

2:05I am Trav. I'm Hostin and Wes Kostin. And the usual suspects are with me.
2:10We've got the wise man, Jax Falcone. How you doing, big dog?
2:14We've got a little preseason in the books, fella.
2:17Absolutely. I didn't watch a minute. Thank you. Neither did.
2:20I barely watched any as well. I watched a little bit.
2:23I got some plans to watch some stuff back.
2:26I know Joe has seen some stuff and he's kind of chomping to talk about it.
2:31Joe Quavius Kubitakis, how are you this evening, brother?
2:34I'm better than I was this morning. I woke up to just the horrendous, horrendous news that a player that I had
2:41across 29% of my Dynasty portfolio, a second year player who our model loved and that was on the verge of a
2:48second year breakout, tore his ACL, tore one out for Jaden Higgins.
2:52It's like one of the worst things that could happen to my bags.
2:56But more than that, more than that, I'm actually upset for, obviously for him.
3:01That goes without saying. But like also for our model because I was like this dude seemed like he was going to be a huge hit.
3:09I still think that's obviously possible, but I'm just like really, really, this one hurts.
3:14This one hurts more than most because of just the investment we've had in him and how much we've been rooting for
3:21him and how he was just like on the cusp.
3:24And now we're just the gratification is going to be delayed and or stymied for who knows how long.
3:30The irony there, Joe, is that the player that might reap the most reward or benefit from this injury is another model
3:37darling who also had it stripped away. And that's Tank Dell.
3:41Are you talking? Oh, oh, okay. I thought you were going to go for number 13.
3:46Number 13. No, Tank Dell. Tank Dell was like, I mean, when we unearthed Tank Dell, it was like, wow.
3:53Because here's what happened that we actually ran the model after Tank Dell had been drafted.
3:58And we kind of did this thing. We're like, dude, Tank Dell pops in this thing.
4:03We're like, that's crazy. We love Tank Dell. And then he was awesome.
4:07And then he was destroyed. And it was really kind of like, wow.
4:11You know, so he was another one that was kind of be like, look, you know, this thing actually can show you what a good player looks like.
4:20And yeah, so injuries suck. Dude, I famously have said a million times, I hate injuries.
4:25Even to, you know, even in competition, like, you know, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, I was a Tom Brady guy.
4:32I don't want to see Peyton Manning get hurt.
4:35I wanted to beat him straight up. You know, like, I hate injuries on all counts.
4:40So even your most hated players, I do not want to see them get hurt.
4:45I hate that Jaden Higgins is hurt. It's just brutal.
4:48It's just got to be really, really tough for those guys to go through this, you know, miss a whole season.
4:55You know, all the money that they have on, you know, an opportunity to make and earn for their family, for their
5:02future is really put in jeopardy with this type of stuff.
5:05So it's pretty brutal. Yeah. I mean, Higgins probably going to be fine, right?
5:10He'll be back for year three of his career.
5:13And, you know, he's not going to have to worry about his contract extension until that following summer after year three.
5:19So it's like, yeah, when he comes back and like, yeah, that's also going to be around the time, just trajectory wise,
5:26where like Nico Collins is going to be probably.
5:29Phasing out. Yeah. Phasing out and or running low on a contract term.
5:33And so they're going to have some decisions to make down the road.
5:38It's just a bummer. It's a bummer for the Texans who were probably a tough bet from a fantasy standpoint.
5:44It's not for CJ Stroud. So, you know, I'm excited that we're going to see a little bit more Jalen Noel and
5:51God, I hope, you know, to your point, Tank Dell is ready to go out there and play.
5:57And we get to see what, you know, could have been the last couple of years.
6:02But it just feels like it's been a really tough offseason, like more injury plagued than most offseasons.
6:08And maybe not like as many devastating injuries like this one is a season ender.
6:13Yeah. But it's just like so many. I mean, I don't remember an offseason with this many groin strains ever.
6:19Right. Like, like even today, Warren got a groin strain.
6:22You know, we've got burden. We've got so many guys with these groin issues, not to mention all the hammies.
6:29It's just been like, I don't know, just throwing a wrench in all of our plans, which happens every year, but not to this extent this early.
6:37I feel like, by the way, I'll give my two cents on what I think will happen behind Nico Collins.
6:44I think it's going to be muted and sort of, you know, everybody's going to be a C minus.
6:50Like, no, there's not going to be an A plus student out of the remainder.
6:55Xavier Hutchinson, Jalen Knoll, the tight end Schultz. And, you know, who did I forget?
7:00Tank Dell. Right. All these guys, I think, are just going to kind of be, you know, OK, you know, 60, 70 target type guy.
7:08You know, I don't think anybody's going to step forward and really fill the void and get to 120, 130 targets and be like meaningful and fantasy.
7:16If I had to guess, if someone did do that.
7:19Who's who you placing your chip bet on Trav Dalton Schultz?
7:23I think Dalton Schultz probably probably sees like 120 targets for this team this year.
7:28I think part of it is I tweeted I tweeted out after the Higgins injury because, Joe, I'll see your 29 percent
7:35and I will raise you 45 percent. Well, 16 extra percent to get up to 45 because I have some heavy Jaden Higgins bags.
7:43And so I was very, very sad to see this.
7:46All the stuff that you guys said as well.
7:49Young kid camp reports were so fucking good, too.
7:52Like camp reports were so good on him. Opposite Nico Collins, it seemed like it was going to be so fun.
7:58Now I think, yeah, like it is going to be a bit of a rotation of some of these guys.
8:05And I said in my tweet today, this isn't necessarily a team that ran a bunch of 12 personnel last season.
8:11And I said that I didn't see a drastic shift.
8:15So I thought that Jalen Noel and Tank Dell were the clear beneficiaries.
8:19But when you look at the tight ends that they have there, they have Cade Stover alongside Dalton Schultz.
8:25They also brought in Foster Moreau and they drafted Marlon Klein in the second round.
8:30I think we could see a bit more 12 personnel.
8:33And that's why I think Dalton Schultz is probably going to be the second target on this team.
8:39Despite the fact that I wish it was either of those two wide receivers because I like them both.
8:45I think if I'm looking at two wide sets, I would project Tank Dell to handle.
8:50Xavier Hutchinson. Yeah, they remember Joe when we did the show with Jacob and he said that they have the weirdest boner for Xavier Hutchinson.
8:58And that's probably true as well. So I think that kind of muddies it up to bring me towards that tight end group, specifically Schultz.
9:06Yeah, I mean, Schultz, you know, 0.22 targets per outrun last year.
9:10And that was with, you know, a relatively healthy team.
9:13Nico Collins missed his typical four games and Higgins played 17.
9:17Noel played 17. So Noel was at, you know, 0.18 targets per outrun last year as a rookie, which is not a terrible number.
9:24So I don't know. I kind of think he's the one that's in line to make the jump.
9:30There's obviously a built-in rapport with Dell, but we, you know, he just started really practicing in earnest, if I'm not mistaken.
9:37Yeah. Noel's been hurt. So Hutchinson probably early in the season.
9:41But, you know, to your point, Jax, I don't think it's going to be like one guy.
9:46I do think it's going to be until someone, you know, develops chemistry and rapport and consistency and stays healthy.
9:53Like, as a receiver, I'm much more interested in, as a pass catcher, as I say, I'm much more interested in seeing
10:00Noel ascend and or Dell return to form. But in the meantime, yeah, old reliable is Schultz, who, you know, I still
10:07have a hard time starting that dude in Dynasty.
10:10But he probably is going to fill the big chunk of the void early on.
10:15I would just say the guy who we've seen do it before is Tank Dell, right?
10:20He's actually done it before where he's been a meaningful start, a startable asset in fantasy.
10:25We've seen that. Tank Dell's done it. None of the other guys really.
10:29I mean, Schultz to some degree, but not to the degree that Tank Dell was.
10:34So it'll be interesting to see. But, you know, my bet is on no one.
10:39And I think that just means maybe increase for Nico Collins and David Montgomery slightly.
10:43But I don't know. You know, that's not nothing to get excited.
10:47Yeah, totally. I think the only thing in that vein that Noel could have over Tank Dell is that Noel was brought in by this regime, right?
10:56Like this offensive coaching staff. I don't like I think talent probably wins out.
11:00And I think this just means that both those guys are probably projected to get some more snaps.
11:06So if one of them shines through, then one of them shines through.
11:10I think they're both fairly cheap for us to attach to.
11:14We're going to look at a couple signings here, boys, because there was a couple earlier this week.
11:20We had Keenan Allen signing in Indianapolis. And we've talked about this, boys.
11:24And like I'm not going to say that we've been on like the assumption that this was going to happen.
11:30But the tea leaves have been telling us some things for quite a few weeks here.
11:35And so, Joe, why don't you want to why don't you talk about kind of your assessment of this?
11:42I think the biggest thing we're thinking of how is is how it impacts Josh Downs.
11:47But why don't you talk about kind of the impact on Downs and what you think Keenan means for this team?
11:53Yeah, I mean, I think it mostly impacts Downs.
11:56But, you know, to a certain extent, it impacts Tyler Warren as well.
12:01They obviously needed more depth at this position. The funny thing is like Keenan Allen is nothing like what Alec Pierce brought to the table.
12:09So, you know, I know they've got Nick Westbrook-Keenan.
12:11That guy seems like the one that's most likely to fill that Alec Pierce void, which means unless they have Downs doing
12:19it, which is not, you know, I think he can do that a little bit.
12:23But that's not the ideal way that you use him.
12:27Regardless, I think Downs gets hurt the most to your point, Trav.
12:30You know, we just saw this unfold last year with Lad McConkie coming off a fantastic rookie season, getting absolutely nuked by Keenan Allen.
12:38And the year before with Chicago. Yeah, exactly. You know, he just walked, you know, he walked back onto the Chargers last
12:45year and drew, you know, 26% targets per outrun.
12:48And still a respectable, you know, 1.72 yards per outrun.
12:51So it's not like he's washed and he is just very good at being a quarterback's best friend and getting open.
12:58And I think Danny Dimes is going to take that often.
13:02So, yeah, it's a bummer for Downs. We've he's a guy we've been high on for a long time, hoping for his opportunity.
13:09And now this is, you know, one of the worst things that could happen to him in terms of the opportunity that
13:16was before him and what we can project his role to be moving forward.
13:21So, you know, in the startup that we're in right now, when it was time to drop Downs, I was reluctant and
13:28I didn't ultimately end up pulling the trigger because I was worried that something like this is going to happen.
13:34But this is kind of like a lesson as well.
13:37Right. Downs is what? 170 pounds. Downs, you know, we just same thing with Tank Dell, who we love, but like bets
13:44on these guys typically ends up being a bad bet, even when they beat the odds one year or maybe a couple of times.
13:52Like over time, you know, injury is going to get to them.
13:56And if it doesn't, like the team is still going to have those same doubts that we have as players, whether they're fair or not.
14:04They're going to bring somebody else in and try not to put too much on the little guy's plate.
14:10That's really just how this unfortunately works. And it's I see you guys laughing, but it's the truth.
14:16Who's the little fella in Cleveland? It just sounded mean.
14:19Well said, though. It's true, though. It's true. Yeah.
14:22No, it's fine. Just the little guy. Just the NFL.
14:25Hey, newsflash. The NFL is full of meatheads that, yeah, and a good chunk of them don't care about stats.
14:31And even if they do, they're still meatheads. Yeah.
14:34Yeah. No, I think that's well put there. I think, you know, I still might be a little bit hopeful because we
14:41have heard things like Josh Downs has been used more downfield in training camp.
14:46That maybe they have some ways that they can work him in when they don't have three wide receivers on the field.
14:53Like maybe like what if Keenan Allen occupies that X, right?
14:57And maybe he's not necessarily a priority target on the play, but they look to prioritize Downs and Tyler Warren with Keenan occupying that X.
15:05I don't know. It's might just be some hopium.
15:07Might be some hopium happening here, fella. If you want to get the safeties to bite and go deep, I say do
15:15it with a guy that ran a 4.9 when he was in his physical prime.
15:19God knows what Keenan Allen runs now. God knows what he runs now.
15:24Oh, yeah. It's probably bad. And I mean like your speed.
15:27I'm not buying that for one second. Damn it, Joe.
15:30Your speed quotient just isn't the X wide receiver, right?
15:33That's all I'm saying. But yeah, it's probably unlikely.
15:36Where is it? Where is it? I think they're doing it.
15:40I think Josh Downs can be some of the speed quotient.
15:43I think, yeah, it's going to be Downs and it's going to be Westbrook Akine, which means, you know, Keenan Allen, the
15:51guy over the middle benefiting off of the PPR scam.
15:54But if they're playing less three wide sets because they have no wide receivers, then that's not good for Downs getting on
16:01the field with like Keenan Allen sitting in two wide receiver sets.
16:05I don't know. What I would say is I just don't think Keenan Allen is going to play a full snap share.
16:12I would just say that. Maybe. Maybe. He ran 453 routes last year.
16:16We've got to bet against it at some point.
16:19What age? At what age are you going to stop betting for that?
16:23I mean, when he stops drawing, let you know when he stops drawing a 25% plus target.
16:28Unbelievable. Run share. I have no strong opinion here.
16:31Yeah. The depth chart needs him to run that many routes kind of thing, you know?
16:36Kind of. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It'll be an interesting run out.
16:40Interesting run out. Yeah. Okay. Last signing. And then we're actually, I didn't even like intro the topics.
16:46We're actually going to talk about some elite offenses and how we can attach to some of these players.
16:52But first, we're going to talk about the last signing was Najee Harris to the New York Giants boys.
16:58A little bit of a, maybe a pest for your guys' Cam Scadabo bags.
17:02Are you guys acknowledging this at all? I'm not necessarily acknowledging it for Dynasty.
17:07I think there could be a little bit of a buy low opportunity on Scads, but I think it's definitely going to impact his redraft standing.
17:15I disagree. I don't think that Najee Harris was brought in to be a problem for Cam Scadabo.
17:21I do think, though, the fact that Tyron Tracy put Jackson Dart in the blue tent in a preseason game on a
17:28pretty easy blitz pickup, a very, very standard issue pass blocking assignment.
17:32And he whiffed terribly and looked like a mental mistake because he did go back and be like, oh, shit.
17:38Tried to sort of go get the guy. I would say that's probably the guy that should be worried about Najee Harris.
17:46Yes. Cam Scadabo is the lead back. Tracy's banged up, too.
17:49Tracy's hurt, too. Oh, he's banged up, all right.
17:52And look, there's nothing else behind Cam Scadabo that scares Najee Harris.
17:56But Najee Harris can scare all the other players on that team, meaning if he's healthy, which is also another big if.
18:03You know, this is one of those things that I'm not saying this is going to happen, but you've seen this happen before.
18:10They sign Najee Harris. Three weeks later, he's released or whatever.
18:14Right? It's like, yeah, he's no good. It's possible that he's just not good.
18:18He was never explosive to begin with. If any of that's been sapped, could be a problem for him.
18:24So I don't think that he's. Yeah. He had a season where he led the league in explosive, explosive run rate at a certain threshold.
18:32But that's just kind of it. I love the threshold.
18:36It's just a cheeky one. Look, he's great. I've been a Najee defender.
18:40He was like, I think I said something at one point.
18:43Who is the only player to have a thousand yards in the five straight seasons?
18:48It was, you know, it was a Najee Harris, you know, trivia answer.
18:52And so, yeah, he's formidable. But I don't think he takes away.
18:56Look, every. I said this before, every backfield has more than one running back in it.
19:01It's where do you slot in? Scats is still number one.
19:05Yeah. I would just add in that preseason game, Scadaboo looks great.
19:09And Najee, like, I couldn't agree with you more.
19:12He's just basically destroying Tracy's opportunity to share everything.
19:15Right. Tracy did it himself. Right. It was literally days after he smoked just a very standard block to Jax's point.
19:21They go and add a vet who absolutely understands how to handle passing down work and quarterback protections and whatnot.
19:28I will just add, like, you guys may have seen it.
19:31There was just some clip floating around on Twitter.
19:34Dave Najee, his first day of practice, just running a drill.
19:38And I usually don't put any stock in this stuff.
19:41But it's, I think the fastest I've seen his feet move ever.
19:45Like since. I thought it looked pretty decent. I thought you were going to shit on it.
19:50And I was going to be like, damn, I thought he looked okay.
19:54No, no, no. It was like, this is like better than rookie year Najee Harris.
19:59Right. So, and I'd say I'm probably as excited, if not the most excited I've been about drafting or getting my hands
20:06on Najee Harris since his rookie year. Um, this is an interesting opportunity because I do think he's, you know, basically got
20:13a stranglehold on the Tracy role, which, you know, probably not all that valuable in and of itself.
20:19But if something were to happen to Scadaboo. That's right.
20:22Uh, I don't think they are looking for a guy that's going to be explosive because that's not even really Scadaboo's game.
20:29Right. He gets some gains, but he does it by being, you know, uh, a dude that runs.
20:35A ramrod. Yeah, exactly. And Najee can play that role too.
20:39Right. So I don't know. Say car ramrod. Say car ramrod.
20:42Yeah, exactly. Exactly. So he's kind of a two way go in from that standpoint.
20:47Yeah. Um, and very usable and, uh, a pro.
20:50And I'm actually like really excited about it because now there's no expectations on Najee Harris.
20:55Everybody's buried him. Uh, everybody's given up on him and now it's like, well, okay.
21:00Now we just get to enjoy Najee Harris without the burden of any sort of expectation.
21:05It's kind of like the Kareem hunt resurgence. Yeah.
21:08You know, it was like, yeah, he's terrible and slow, but he's still really useful and coaches are going to dig them.
21:15And they're more than happy to put them in the lineup in any situation and know he's got it.
21:21That's a great, great comparison. I love it. I think he's going to get, I think he's going to get some work this year.
21:29I think he's going to get some work with, with a healthy Scadaboo.
21:33Not like I'm targeting Najee Harris, but I just think that having another guy who can take some of that work, they're
21:40going to give some of that work to Najee Harris for sure.
21:44Well, Scadaboo is going to come off the field with, you know, dizziness.
21:48You know what I mean? Just general fucking whoopsie.
21:51On a backflip, you know. Oh yeah, dude. You know, he's just, he's out there, man.
21:56So yeah, there's going to be some snaps available for sure.
22:00I mean, Scats is a truly unique player in this, in this league.
22:04It is the ever. I'm like, I say this all the time, but it pains me to say, I'm excited to see
22:11that Giants offense out there this season for sure.
22:14Yeah. The perfect lunch combo. That first bite of your favorite sub, followed by ice cold Pepsi.
22:19Add a couple of friends, and now that's next level.
22:22Suddenly, the laughs get louder, the stories keep flowing, and the food tastes better.
22:27Because Pepsi brings out more flavor, more fun, and more of the moment.
22:31Food deserves Pepsi. Grab a Pepsi Zero Sugar today.
22:34Hey. Football is back, baby. And whether you've been betting for years, you're just looking to put a little action on the
22:41games, my bookie needs to be added to your list of places to go line shopping.
22:46We've been talking about the teams we like and don't like for months.
22:50We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody.
22:54And we're terrified of this Falcons offense. Even though you got Bijan, you got Kyle Pitts, you got Drake London.
23:00But you got two bad left-handed quarterbacks. And you certainly don't need to be telling some fake betting expert on social media.
23:07Go to my bookie and find the plays you already know you like and take a shot.
23:13That's what's cool about my bookie. You can find the action you want and bet it wherever you are when the game kicks off.
23:20And if you're new to the club, the bet back bonus gives you protection on your first play.
23:26Sign up with promo code PLAYER to opt into the bet back bonus and take your first shot with a safety net.
23:33If your wager loses, you get it right back.
23:36No questions asked. Football is finally here. Get in now and cash in on the season with my bookie with promo code
23:43PLAYER to get that bet back bonus. Bet on anything, anytime, anywhere.
23:47You're welcome. Speaking of good offenses, boys, we got to get into it because we've already gone long and we only talked
23:54about three little tidbits and news and that's just the dynasty.
23:58Welcome to the underground. Yep. Yes, sir. So some elite offenses and we're going to talk about some of the assets within,
24:05how we might acquire them, whether we're acquiring them.
24:07Maybe we're not trying to acquire them, boys. And I've just picked some offenses that have been kind of the elite offenses
24:15in the landscape over the last couple of seasons.
24:17Joe and I were actually talking before you got here, Jax, about maybe next week we do something where we talk about
24:24some of the offenses that we think we are going to ascend into elite status.
24:29So maybe you'll see that on next week's episode.
24:32But first team we're going to talk about is the Rams.
24:36First guy we're going to talk about, because like his mother is basically in the room right now, Jax.
24:42First guy we're going to talk about is Puka Nakua.
24:45There's been a lot of news around Puka Nakua this offseason.
24:49Most of it not great. Most of it surrounded by knuckleheadedness that we don't necessarily.
24:53And it's funny because we kind of love a little knuckleheadedness in our wide receiver one, but not the variety of knuckleheadedness that he's providing.
25:01You know, we want them to love them and to walk around wearing bling and, you know, say they don't give a fuck about anything.
25:09We don't necessarily want them going on streams and saying shit they're not supposed to and getting in trouble for biting people.
25:17But that's what Puka Nakua has been doing. We want them banging your wives and snorting pink drugs on a boat.
25:23Thank you. Yes. Shout out Stefan Diggs. Not crashing through glass doors.
25:27Yeah. I will just say football can't come soon enough for Puka Nakua.
25:31Yeah. I think he said that like last time we broached the subject.
25:35But it still cannot come soon enough. Can football save this guy at this point?
25:40I'm not sure. Yeah. I mean, he's really good at football and, you know, CTE is clearly real.
25:46You know? Yeah. It's terrible because the thing about Puka that was so cool the whole time was how everybody who met
25:53him said he's such a great person. You know?
25:56As hard as he could. Like, you can't get that stuff out of your head.
26:01But yet you still have to draft them. You know?
26:04It's like we have to talk about them. And we're not going to be, you know, the moral police.
26:10But Puka was supposed to be different. He was supposed to be this guy that was like, you know, a bit of
26:17an ambassador, a bit of a, you know, we could all believe in him.
26:22You know, sort of looked different than a lot of the wide receivers.
26:26I mean, you know, he just didn't feel like everybody else, you know?
26:30So, I don't know. And sure enough, he's sure not like everybody else.
26:34He's a little bit different. So, but. You sound like a disappointed mother when you're speaking to that.
26:40Yeah. True. It is a little bit. He was supposed to be better, you know?
26:45Joe? Joe? There's some of that there for sure.
26:48But homeboy can play football. And I did take Malik Neighbors over Puka Nakua in a startup we just recently did.
26:55And it made Joe do the same in a sort of startup that we're doing, huh?
27:00Well, I mean, he's kind of been, he's been sort of like a stay away for me for the entirety of the
27:07offseason since, you know, kind of, I don't know.
27:10I feel like we did a show in February or March and I brought up the concerning signs then, right?
27:16I feel like I'm the guru of bad vibes on players.
27:20Amongst us, I kind of have a sixth sense for this, right?
27:23And I started sensing it then. And then like he has done just nothing to repair his image.
27:29Like he went to rehab and was like, okay, this is good, I guess.
27:34But it's like, okay, you smashed through a glass door at a party?
27:38Like what? What? Were you wasted? Were you on drugs?
27:41Like I'm not buying the fact that he just like meatheaded his way through a glass door.
27:47Like he had to be on something. I'm not buying that.
27:50So it's like. Who hasn't crashed through a glass door at a party before?
27:55Yeah. So seriously, this is a nothing burger. I don't know.
27:58I'm not buying any of it. I think the rehab thing was like a completely PR thing to save him from the bite.
28:05And I think there's tons of concerning signs. Like, but you know, he's different, right?
28:10He is different. He is a different kind of player.
28:14Absolutely. There is no third year wide receiver. Excuse me.
28:17Fourth year wide receiver going into year four at his stature in terms of playing that hasn't gotten a contract extension.
28:23Right? He should have already had that worked out.
28:26He should already be the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL.
28:30The Rams have not done that yet. Right? And I'm sure they're saying, hey, like, can you chill a little bit?
28:37And he has not at all. So if the Rams are spooked, I'm certainly spooked.
28:42He's probably already cost himself a lot of money.
28:45And I'm sure there are going to be clauses and whatever this contract ends up being that costs him a lot more money.
28:52It's weird that he's not holding in or holding out.
28:55Like, so that kind of does make him different.
28:58And I think he is built different and all about the team and all about, you know, playing ball.
29:04But, dude, this guy's got some screws loose. And, you know, I hate to say, yeah, his play style alone is one reason for cause for concern.
29:13It is. That's right. But on top of that, just when you add in all the other, you know, repeat offender knucklehead
29:20stuff and the fact that the Rams haven't given him a contract yet.
29:24Like, he's been a stay away for me because the Puka owner is not going to sell him to you for any sort of reasonable price.
29:33And the risk is too high for me at this point.
29:36So I don't know. I guess that's where I'm landing with him.
29:40Well, you actually touched upon it. You touched upon it with the on-field stuff that's actually concerning.
29:45You know, he's a young, quote-unquote, young wide receiver.
29:48But in a lot of ways, I'm like, how long does this all last on the field, let alone never off-field issues occurring?
29:56Like, let's just say they go away. On the field, how many times are you watching the Rams and you're like, he's
30:03fighting for extra yards and, like, head-butting someone? And, like, he's just, you're like, dude, the greatest football player I've ever seen.
30:10But also, I think he's hurt, right? Like, so many times you're like, I think he's hurt.
30:15He's limping on the sideline, just kind of working something out.
30:19And then he's back out there. You're like, oh, my God, this guy is just so cool.
30:24Yet, as a dynasty owner, you're like, maybe you should sit some plays out, you know?
30:29So, yeah, he's a scary player in that way, which is why we love him.
30:34I mean, you know, if you love football, you've got to love him.
30:38Yeah. That's part of it, for sure. Imagine him, Scadabo, and Jackson Dart all on the same team.
30:44That could be the next destination. Yeah, those doctors would be working overtime.
30:48Kittle and Dobbins, too. Just throw those two dudes in there.
30:52Yeah, totally. Dude, wild team. You guys also didn't bring up, before we roll off of Puka, you guys also didn't bring up the post-Stafford window.
31:00Like, there is a post-Mass Stafford. We're not worried about it.
31:04We got Ty Simpson. Yeah, yeah. Well, I guess he looks incredible, yeah.
31:08But, you know, we have thought about that as well before.
31:11So, I think there are some things that could make me try to put feelers out there to see what kind of bounty I could get for Puka.
31:20Because if I could get, you could stay young at wide receiver and get a plus on like an Emeka or like even a Tet if you want.
31:29And yet, like, you're probably going to get a first on those guys for Puka.
31:34Just because, you know, he is that elite guy and a lot of people might not be tuned into the vibes or maybe not worried about the vibes.
31:43But I think I might look at that because you could get a pretty good haul to the right person.
31:50Yeah. I'm not paying a first on top of Tet or a Buka to get to Puka.
31:55Me personally, but I don't disagree with you specifically.
31:58Yeah. Yeah. I'm in a league right now where I got, you know, on Sleeper, you can put a nickname on the player.
32:05And a lot of times people put like the price that they'll sell them for.
32:10And this team is clearly rebuilding and they're sitting here with Puka Nakua.
32:14They said, you know, downgrade plus a first. Right.
32:17Yeah. And I was looking at it and I was like, like, am I going to do Makai Lemon in a 27 first for Puka?
32:25Right. Like, I'm considering it. Right. Yeah. That I would do.
32:29Yeah. But I've had some pause. But it's a buying opportunity probably.
32:33But yeah, I don't know. The red flags just it's got me nervous.
32:37It's got me nervous. But I think you're right.
32:40I think you're right. I got to probably pull that trigger.
32:43Yeah. I think there might even be a better buying opportunity.
32:47Right. If there is like I mean, if there's more knuckleheadedness, maybe you're a little bit hesitant to buy.
32:53Exactly. If somebody's worried about the post Matt Stafford window, I think that could be a little little buying opportunity as well.
33:00So I mean, stop burying the lead and get to your boy, would you?
33:05No, we're not even going there yet. Jax. Just wait.
33:08Just you wait. Just you. Ty Simpson thing. I'll just say the Ty Simpson thing actually does mitigate a lot of the future risk.
33:15At least there's a plan in place and he's going to get a chance to be in the system before he's out there.
33:23He's going to get a chance to be in the system.
33:26He's going to get a chance to be in the system.
33:30A little bit. Okay. We got to talk about the running backs before we get to my guy.
33:36My guy. We'll do this. I got a whole situation.
33:39I got a whole situation about my guy that we got to talk about.
33:43But it's interesting because when I looked at Kyron Williams and Blake Corum on otcffb.com, great website.
33:49You should go check it out. I thought when we were looking at ADPs that we would see some convergence of these
33:56guys, obviously not to the point where they would cross over each other because Kyron probably is still the one A in
34:03this, but we hadn't really seen much movement. Kyron is still in that kind of mid to late fifth round.
34:09And then Blake Corum has snuck up into like that back of the ninth round boys.
34:15So I thought that was very interesting. And then if you look at trade value, this was a good one.
34:21Kyron is the running back 16 by trade values on the site right now.
34:26But he's right beside the 2026 105. He's actually higher than a 2027 mid first.
34:30Now, I think some of those values reset a little bit once the season starts on when we're projecting the future picks.
34:37We would have to have Keegan there for the exact formula.
34:41But Blake Corum is the running back 32 and he's behind the 2026 203.
34:45So I think to me, that says that obviously Blake Corum is the clear buy on value.
34:51But do you think the community might be seeing a little bit of that to the point where they want to attach still to Corum?
34:59What do you think, Joe? It's hard to say because I'm clearly I think I've been very clear on my skepticism of
35:06Kyron Williams and he's proven me wrong, you know, year in and year out.
35:10And I've been really high on Blake Corum before he was even drafted by the Rams.
35:16And that looked really wrong. His rookie season and, you know, pretty good last year when he was especially in the second
35:23half of the year when he was crushing every, you know, yards over expected and efficiency metric that there was.
35:29So I think he's worked his way into, you know, a regular role in this offense.
35:34I think the problem for both of them, and this is maybe like a system issue, is that the Rams aren't throwing to these guys at all.
35:43And they're certainly not throwing to Corum, right? They're not throwing a running backs nearly as much as they did.
35:49And the guy who is getting all the receiving work is Kyron.
35:53And Kyron, for as much as I doubt him, continues to be very effective.
35:58We don't love yards per carry, but he's still at 4.83.
36:01You know, Corum was at 5.14 last year. And then success rate, Kyron's higher.
36:06He's at a 62.9% success rate versus Corum, who was at a 59.3% success rate, which is also very good.
36:12So like they're both playing well. I think it's kind of a two back backfield and it's kind of 60-40 in favor of Kyron.
36:20Yep. But I do think to your question, Trav, that probably means to me that Kyron is overvalued and Corum is undervalued if this thesis is correct.
36:29That being said, like, I don't know, I have a little bit of Kyron, but it's all on teams where I have
36:36Corum and I've got a lot of Corum without Kyron.
36:39So I've kind of placed my bets already on this, you know, a while ago.
36:44I'd like to say also, though, that the, I think the difference between them, it maybe, what were you citing, ADP?
36:50Trav? I kind of fucked it up, to be honest with you, boys.
36:55At first I cited ADP and then I was citing trade values.
36:58So by, like, Kyron's right around running back 14 to 16, like average of both, I guess.
37:04And then Corum is right in that 32 to 34 range.
37:07Because I think we have them much closer. Like, we have them at running back 25 and 27, something like that, basically.
37:14Sorry, I was just looking at our rankings. Our consensus rankings have them at running back 25 and running back 27.
37:21So super close. You know, when you take our consensus, I think we're all right there.
37:26I was looking at it. So, and I think that the community, I think, is kind of close as well.
37:33And I think people are a little bit shy on Kyron.
37:36But he's impossible to sell and kind of impossible to buy.
37:40I mean, although I haven't really tried to buy, I suppose.
37:43But I have him in a couple spots and I've tried to trade off of him at, like, top 20 running back pricing.
37:51And nobody really feels like they want to give that to you.
37:55So I think you're kind of sort of stuck with Kyron in that way.
37:59And Blake is kind of expensive, even though, you know, according to all this ADP stuff, he's not.
38:05So I just think that when the rubber hits the road, we've said this before, right?
38:10ADP is different than trade value. You know? It just is.
38:14You know, when you're in the ADP, you're like, oh.
38:17And I'm watching it right now. There's a lot of picks in our startup that people are picking players ahead of guys
38:24they would never trade that player for. Does that make sense?
38:27Like, they would just be like, of course I would give you this guy for the guy.
38:33Just take him. Just draft him. You know? And I think it's a lot of guys fitting their lineup.
38:39And I already have, you know, two tight ends.
38:42So I can't take another one or whatever. This type of, you know, this type of logic.
38:47They're built. They're focused on their build. Yeah. And, you know, to some degree I do that as well.
38:53But I try to resist that. And I do think that that's what is happening with the Kyron-Corum situation.
39:00And, look, I, many, not just me, comped Corum to Kyron.
39:03But pre-draft. And then they draft him and they play similarly.
39:07They're probably pretty similar as players. But whether we like it or not doesn't matter.
39:11Kyron does have the upper hand until he doesn't.
39:14And, you know, according to, if it was a straight-up meritocracy, I guess Corum would have taken over last year.
39:21But that's not really how it works, right? You know, there's a little bit of, you know, seniority to it, too.
39:27And that's where we're at. So that's why we're seeing the split kind of be there.
39:33They want to give Corum some opportunities. He was more explosive.
39:36So all that to say, I just think this is an easy one to read.
39:41It's 60-40 Kyron until someone gets hurt. You're right on the money, you know.
39:45It's just hard to transact on it is all I'm saying.
39:49It really is. Yeah, it really is. It's kind of a tough buy.
39:53Yeah, it's an interesting backfield because it feels like Rams backfield is fruitful.
39:57Yeah, okay. I'll just talk about my boy. Enough about the Rams backfield.
40:02And then we're going to dunk on you. You know this, right?
40:05It's coming. You think so? You think so? That's fine.
40:09That's fine. Let's get to it. Because I got a little bit of something to talk about here about Terrence Ferguson because I got fucking burned.
40:17Burned in the listener league. And this was terrible, boys, because I was on the clock.
40:22He's be-rabbiting you right now. He's not letting you dunk on him.
40:26He's talking about it. He's going to dunk on himself.
40:29Yeah, it's good. I like this better. Yeah, yeah.
40:32This is great. Canadians are very good at self-deprecation.
40:35I did trade away the pick that was T-Ferg.
40:38Yeah. Yeah. I am white trash. Little did I know there was going to be an iceberg.
40:43Because there was a bunch of us underneath the surface.
40:46I am Canadian. Yeah. Okay. Sorry. Anyway, we were in the 10th round of the listener league draft, right?
40:53I get a trade offer. It's actually a pretty nominal trade offer.
40:56Moved back five spots to the 10-12 for a 27th, third, and fourth.
41:01Third and fourth, right? Five picks. I hadn't made any trades yet.
41:04I wanted to get a little bit of action going.
41:08It was with JP Tucker. Shout out to JP Tucker.
41:11I tried to squeeze the trade and get a 27 second instead and add a fourth on top of it from my side.
41:18Wasn't happening. So he said, fuck it. Let's go with your original offer.
41:22It's all good. Terrence Ferguson is well within my purview here.
41:26I'm looking at his ADP. I went from the OTC site over to the sleeper site just to make sure I knew
41:33where he was on the list and stuff, which I know kind of means nothing, but it gives you a little bit
41:40of an idea into kind of the headspace. And I traded the pick.
41:44So I traded the pick. Next thing that happens, Terrence Ferguson is selected in the 10th round of this dynasty startup at
41:51the 10, where I traded out of. That hurt real bad.
41:55That hurt real bad. Ironically, may I say though?
41:58No, no, don't. I'm going to finish the circle because you finished it for me today.
42:03Jax decides to point out to me, which I hadn't noticed yet.
42:07I knew I had him in this league, but I didn't notice exactly what the pick was that my pick at 10,
42:1412, I traded back from 10, 07 to 10, 12.
42:17My pick at 10, 12 was Jayden Higgins. This is a 0.75 tight end premium.
42:22Ladies and gentlemen, I tried to get a little bit cute thinking Terrence Ferguson was going to get back to me in the next round.
42:30I already have Colson Loveland and Norende Gadsden. And I thought that T Ferg would give me an incredible triumvirate of, of
42:37the most on brand draft that I possibly could have had.
42:41Um, and I didn't get that. And I got burned.
42:44I was literally, I was, I didn't realize I could trade with you.
42:48I was literally, I'm at the 10, 10 or something.
42:5110, nine. You're at the 10, seven. Yo, you're 10, seven.
42:55I'm 10, 10, 10, nine. I'm feverishly trying to trade to the 10, five or the 10, six to get in front of him to take Terrence Ferguson.
43:04Cause to me, it had to be Terrence Ferguson.
43:07Like, yes, he's further down on, he's further down on the ADP.
43:10That is true. And sometimes that's actually a dynasty game theory, one-on-one lesson of life.
43:15And I, I kind of shared this with, with travel earlier.
43:19I'm like, you gotta kind of see your board because other people have a similar board to you, like maybe not the
43:26same, but similar where ADP is flawed. And so Terrence Ferguson to me was much higher.
43:31I know for you, he was also much higher.
43:34I think I don't even know where you drafted him there, but I mean, I have him closer to the tight end
43:4112 than I do to the tight end 24.
43:44He's my 11. He's my 10. Yeah. So, I mean, for you, this was for sure where, you know, now he got
43:51cute and was playing the ADP board rather than his board, which is smart, right?
43:56You don't just take Terrence Ferguson in the fifth round because you really like that.
44:01Stupid. You know, you, you wait, you wait till the point where it makes sense and where you can kind of get away with it.
44:09But he squeezed a little bit too long. Anyway, I couldn't even get a trade done.
44:14I couldn't, nobody answered my call, obviously, you know, I mean, nobody likes me, but I couldn't get there.
44:20So anyway, when, once you were there and I'm like, oh, and then he trades and I'm like, what is he doing?
44:27And then when the pick was made, it was, yeah, I was like, wow.
44:31Problem with listener leagues. They all have our rankings.
44:34You couldn't have seen that coming. You could not.
44:37I did not at all. That's why I traded it is because I'm going to get him in the next round.
44:44I'm moving back a few picks, picking up some draft capital.
44:47I was like, oh my God, that was. Did you see, did you see my tight end spite pick when I came back around the next one?
44:56No. I didn't get my young tight end. I was like, fuck you, Joe.
45:01You don't get to have yours. I'm taking Gunner Helm.
45:04Oh, the Gunner Helm. Yeah. I like Gunner Helm.
45:07You guys know this, but that's partially, I was like, yes.
45:10And I can't Joe have, we can't let Joe have all the fun.
45:14So I'm taking Helm. I did get Raridon though.
45:17You did. You traded up to get Raridon. So made sure it was nice.
45:22That was nice. Fuck boys. Okay. So I'm going to get it.
45:26And also, and also try and dunk on me on Terrence Ferguson, buddy.
45:30Fucking try it. Yeah. I mean, just to get us back on the rails and stop talking about our league.
45:36I feel like there's basically, I mean, Raridon, especially early in camp was probably the buzziest, but I don't think there's been
45:43a tight end that's been buzzier than Ferguson, especially from like climbing the ranks.
45:48We were way ahead of this. We were way ahead of this and travel was the most, most ahead of this, right?
45:55And we love Terrence Ferguson last year where we're telling everybody to draft him last year.
46:00So we've been on Ferguson and I'm actually, I guess the beat reporters have been doing us no favors in terms of
46:07his price because they've basically been saying, look at this guy as the third wide receiver.
46:12The Rams aren't doing us any favors because they didn't add any wide receivers.
46:17It seemed like they tried to upgrade on Devante Adams and flirted with AJ Brown a little bit, but it's still Puka, Devante.
46:24And now, I mean, who, who is the Rams third wide receiver?
46:28Like Jordan Whittington. No, it's Terrence Ferguson. Yeah, exactly.
46:31Yeah, exactly. So the team that kind of coined, I don't want to say coined, this may be not the right way
46:38to frame, but you know, that brought 13 personnel to prominence and the league started copping them last year.
46:44Like there's reason to believe that they will do it more this year and he's going to benefit from that.
46:50But I also just think in 12 personnel and in 11 personnel, he's probably going to be the tight end on the field.
46:58So they're going to use them in a variety of ways and they need more weapons.
47:03It's a pretty fragile offense. Agreed. Should something happen to Puka or Devante Adams, like I think the target share could go through the roof for this guy.
47:12Yes. And the thing about it is, this is one of those situations where I've said this about Basial Tootin, like in
47:19order for him to fail, he's going to just have to be bad.
47:23Right? Like Basial Tootin has an opportunity. If he's good, he's got an opportunity.
47:28If he's good, it's going to be unbelievable for Basial Tootin.
47:31I would say the same thing for Terrence Ferguson.
47:34We hear the Sean McVay talking about Terrence Ferguson and how he can do everything.
47:39Like literally he says everything, like blocking, you know, in line.
47:42All three wide receiver positions. He said all three wide receiver positions.
47:46Yes. You know, you're about a tight end very often.
47:50Ever. Right? So like unless that's complete bullshit and the guy is total dog shit, he goes out there and just shits the bed.
47:57Like that's the way that they're being seen by the coaching staff.
48:01If he's good and he gets that type of opportunity and capitalizes on it, that's where the ceiling comes from.
48:08That's where it's like, dude, he gets four or five scripted opportunities per game plus all the rest.
48:13You know, like you're talking huge, huge upside. And, you know, I'm not predicting, you know, huge upside, but I am predicting
48:20the opportunity for that to be possible. And when you're drafting that late, especially he's also young.
48:26This is a, this is a clean run out for Terrence Ferguson.
48:30I think even with the Claire pick and all these other tight ends, because of what Joe mentioned, the 13 and 12
48:37personnel usage and the lack of a third wide receiver all line up perfectly for Terrence Ferguson.
48:42Mm-hmm. And they were praising his after the catch ability, which they said that they haven't really seen much of, which bears
48:49out when you look at his 18.1 yard a dot from last year, which obviously is going to come down with more volume.
48:57So yeah, you guys know how I feel. Yes, I did miss him on the pick that sucked, but I just looked
49:04and I still have 36% Terrence Ferguson. So we're doing aight.
49:07We're doing aight. Well, one thing that crossed my mind, just while we're still on the topic of the Rams, and maybe
49:14I should have brought this up when we were talking about the running backs a little bit is, you know, they've got
49:21probably the best defensive line I've ever seen now.
49:24Two all timers on their defensive line. We already talked about Stafford's touchdown rate last year, you know, way north of 7%,
49:31which just doesn't hold year to year. It's not sticky.
49:35It's very unlikely that that is going to repeat.
49:37So I think there is a little bit of exposure here in over investing in the pass catchers on this offense.
49:44I mean, because they're going to be a different team that can rely heavily on their defense and therefore could end up
49:51running the ball a whole lot more. And we didn't even talk about Jarquez Hunter, but they've got a third running back
49:58that we all liked or like, like, I still like him.
50:02Yeah. So I think that they could run the ball a lot more and it could just be a much more ball
50:09controlled offense, especially, you know, we talked about the fragility of this offense, especially if one of these pass catchers gets hurt.
50:16Why couldn't the Rams just completely slow the game down win with their ridiculous defense?
50:21That's going to be a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks and just, you know, run the ball down the other team's throat.
50:28So I think that that's very much in the cards.
50:31Yeah. That's more likely than, than, than last year.
50:34He's more, they're more likely to be below 5% touchdown percentage than above seven, you know, or above, you know.
50:40Yeah. I mean, McVay teams typically have a very high pass rate over expected.
50:45And, you know, so I think we can, I think that should be the default assumption, but I think if things do
50:52get wobbly in terms of injuries on offense, they could just turn to run the ball and play defense team.
50:58And they can win that way and get into the playoffs.
51:02We all know what their ultimate goal is. It's win this year, you know, get it done one more time while Stafford's playing.
51:09Yeah. My 10 year old son is like, they're obviously winning the Superbowl.
51:13They're going to go undefeated dad. Like he, you know, he's not been around for too many NFL seasons, but the point
51:20of the matter is like from the outside in, like just from the surface, like this team is fucking.
51:26Miles Garrett and Aaron Donald is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen on a defensive line.
51:32That's crazy. I mean, we'll see, you know, if Aaron Donald is, you know, 80% of old Aaron Donald, which if you've
51:39seen any of the videos or the guy with the shirt off, I think he will be.
51:44I think he will be. It's a problem. It's a big, big, big problem.
51:49Yes. Okay, boys. Next offense we're going to talk about is the Bengals.
51:53Fruitful fantasy offense over the last few years, you know, led by Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase.
51:59And that's where we're going to start is with Jamar Chase boys.
52:02Because he's a guy now he's, he doesn't have like the knuckleheadedness stuff that Puka has.
52:08But I think we know that you're probably not going to be able to go out there and buy Jamar Chase.
52:14Is there like, obviously, if you're on like a rebuilding team, stacking that value in Jamar Chase is fine.
52:20But say you want to just kind of fill, maybe not depth, because you still want to get an elite asset with Jamar Chase.
52:28Is there any situations where you would be like trading out of Jamar Chase to stack some assets and picks, knowing that
52:35you can still probably get some good playable assets out of them?
52:39Yeah, yeah, there are definitely situations. I mean, I did this last year where on in one of my leagues, it became
52:46clear, you know, I had just one too many injuries, things weren't coming together for me.
52:51I was like, you know, this is kind of it for this team.
52:55It's time to do a hard reset. So what do you do?
52:59So I traded Jamar Chase for I was able to get this is a single QB league, mind you, but I got CD lamb.
53:07So, you know, downgrade, but, you know, just a tier, half a tier, whatever.
53:11And I got Jackson Dart. And that was super helpful.
53:15And then it's funny this year, I turned around and traded lamb and Gadsden to go get neighbors.
53:20So now I'm back to the same place I was, you know, as far as like receivers in terms of tiers.
53:27But yeah, I'm always willing to move assets. You just got to make sure that you're getting the right value, right?
53:34You can tear down and get a usable asset plus help at another position.
53:38That's one way to do it in these start 10, start 11, start 12s where, you know, it just meant the top
53:45end talent might not matter as much. And it just matters that you've got bodies to fill the starting lineup with, with like real dudes.
53:54So, yes, I'm willing to do it, but that's kind of the scenario.
53:58It's got to be still a really great asset plus picks or plus help at another position.
54:03That's like I've got a meaningful. I've got a trade that went down.
54:07I was I was only involved in that. I'm the commissioner of a $500 buy in league.
54:13OK, so it's a big stakes league is 12 by 11 or 12 by 12.
54:18It's pretty deep 12 by 11, I believe. And these are two players, two managers who have good teams and both want to win it.
54:26But because it's deep, that's where this trade might make some sense.
54:29But this was a blockbuster. OK, Jamar Chase was traded for Nico Collins, Jalen Waddle and Basial Tootin.
54:35No, no, no, just a three for one. And it's rare to see no picks in a trade like that.
54:42Hey, cool. This particular trade in a shallow league is Jamar Chase all day long because it's possible that, you know, Tootin and Waddle.
54:49How many starters? How many starters in this league?
54:52I'm going to look right now. Look, it is.
54:55I think it's 11. One, two, three. Yeah. Yeah.
54:58That's a fun trade, man. Because Jalen Waddle, I think his is 12 being slept on.
55:0312 by 12. The 12 actually makes a huge difference in this one.
55:07It does. It makes a huge difference. It does.
55:10From 11, I would say I probably am on the chase side.
55:14But when you make it 12, that it's hard.
55:17It's because if you look at like all the good teams, you know, Godwin is a starter.
55:22Jordan Mason is a starter. You look at other teams like there's, you know, everybody is starting someone like, you know, Jaden Reed's a starter.
55:31Isaiah likely is a starter. Coker's a starter. Jerry Judy is in a good team starting lineup.
55:36Like it is. It is a very like you look at the starters, you're like, so when you upgrade starters from, you
55:43know, to Basial Tootin, Nico Collins and Jalen Waddle, yeah, you gave something up with that Jamar Chase.
55:49But there's a math equation there that does make that make sense for the guy selling Jamar Chase.
55:55I think it's still light. And it's interesting, but it's not crazy.
55:58It's not crazy. Yeah. You're basically going from like, you know, assuming 144 players, right?
56:03That's what's, you know, the top 144 starting ideally.
56:06That's not how it actually works, but that's like the math that you're doing, right?
56:11You're going from like the 130s and the 140s for your last flex spot to guys that are in the top 50, top 60, right?
56:19So, yeah, that's a huge and the point per game difference from those guys is greater than the difference between Nico Collins and Jamar Chase per game.
56:28The best asset for the best asset, right? So that's that's really the math equation, right?
56:33That that so that trade makes sense, especially in a start 12 and a start 11.
56:38You probably should be getting more for Chase, but a start 12 like it makes a huge difference.
56:44Yeah. And a start nine or start 10. This trade doesn't even happen.
56:48No. Yeah. No. It's important to understand that. Yeah.
56:51That's a fun one to see drop in league chat, though.
56:54Holy shit. I like that. And the team that got Jamar Chase could afford to get rid of depth and is loaded.
57:01So it's a tough spot. My team is good.
57:04Who's their worst? Who's their who's their worst flex player now?
57:08I'm just super curious. Yeah, I have to I have to know the answer to this question.
57:13Their bottom two flex players. Let's let's do that.
57:16Maybe hold on. I'm coming. I'm coming, baby. Are you?
57:19I got it. I'm doing it. All right. I'll give you the team.
57:24It's Jaden Daniels. Gentie. Javante. Chase. Neighbors. Tet. Bowers.
57:26Judkins. Loveland. Bucky Irving. Josh Jacobs. Dart. Oh, that's bench.
57:30Bench. Bill. Yeah. So not much left on the bench.
57:33Oh, OK. Lad on the bench. Shit. And that's it.
57:36I mean, you know, there's obviously other players. Jalen Naylor.
57:39Whatever. You know, right. Yeah. Yeah. Whatever. You know, fucking.
57:43You know. But yeah, he's got, you know, he could just barely afford to do it because, you know, Lad is probably a starter there.
57:51He didn't adjust as long. Yeah. And he can move it like if he's going all in this year.
57:57Right. And then he can move Chase next year and still, you know, recoup a bunch of this value and go get,
58:04you know, three guys to restock the conference. Right.
58:07That's nice. That's nice. There you go. OK. His counterpart in Cincinnati is T Higgins.
58:11It's somewhat of a down season last year, still at 11 touchdowns.
58:15And we have to remember that Joe Burrow did only play in eight games last season.
58:20And I don't know if you guys would be surprised, but T Higgins finished as the wide receiver 16 in points per
58:28game last year with just over 14 points per game.
58:31So I think it was a pretty good showing in what's considered a down year for a guy who is the wide receiver two on his team.
58:39What do you guys think about acquiring T Higgins being that there doesn't seem to be like a whole bunch of vocal steam on him right now?
58:48And I think he has really good upside compared to that steam.
58:52He's got a great run out like they haven't invested as a in a wide receiver three.
58:57They haven't brought in a tight end of consequence.
59:00It's really, you know, this team sort of reminds me of the Cowboys, you know, where it's like these two alpha receivers
59:07that actually, you know, Pickens and Higgins could probably have their own team, so to speak.
59:12Right. They could be an alpha on another team and that's it.
59:16And then a pretty high volume pass offense defenses are questionable.
59:20And then a running back that seemingly will get all of it.
59:24And Chase Brown and Javante Williams is a little bit different.
59:27I think actually Chase Brown ahead of Javante, but you get my point.
59:31There's a there's a doppelganger there to some degree.
59:34I don't think Chase. I mean, I don't think Higgins is quite George Pickens.
59:39Good one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But closer than he sometimes gets credit for, I think.
59:44And, you know, yeah, I agree. I think T Higgins probably is a buy at this particular point, given the fact that
59:51people are probably just tired of them, so to speak, and maybe feel like he's old.
59:56And I don't even know how old is T Higgins?
59:5927. Yeah. Right around there. Yeah. Right. So that's not that bad.
60:03No, he's 27. He came in the year before Chase.
60:06I have not. I'm trying to think of a team like I don't think I've ever sold T Higgins because I don't
60:13think I've ever gotten fair value for T Higgins for what he does.
60:17And everybody that has T Higgins knows for the last several years, come December, come fantasy playoff time.
60:23That's not only is he playing, that's when he seems to be having his biggest games of the season.
60:29Like it's been a, you know, repeat thing. This guy's won me a lot of playoff games.
60:35So like, I don't know. I have a profound love in my heart for T Higgins.
60:40And I don't think anybody's going to give me what he's worth.
60:44And in that offense, it's like you, I don't sell assets like T Higgins because there's the market's never going to get
60:51hot enough where it's like, all right, I can't say no to this.
60:55Right. It, I guess that probably means you try and buy to see if someone is tired of him.
61:01But if anybody's paying attention, you know, knows, Hey, this is a valuable asset.
61:06I want to, we're just talking about it in a start 12, start 11.
61:10Right. It's like, what are your flex spots look like?
61:13Right. It's like, I feel real good when T Higgins is there.
61:17Absolutely. Yeah. Hell yeah. Exactly. Yeah. Is your wide receiver four or five?
61:21Oh my God. You're crushing. You mentioned Pickens there.
61:24This is a good one. Looking at trade values, knowing that you'd have to buy George Pickens at wide receiver 10 prices
61:31and T Higgins at wide receiver 25 prices. Right.
61:34We're probably buying T Higgins right now. Right. Absolutely.
61:37For a similar profile of players. So I like that.
61:40Yep. I want to point out, um, this is important and I'm sorry.
61:44I don't have the numbers because I didn't know this conversation was going to go this way, but T Higgins has actually
61:52been better when Jamar chase is in the lineup.
61:54Like his points per game don't drastically increase when chase is out.
61:58Um, so I don't know. I think, you know, what you're getting with him and when this function, when this offense is
62:05functioning normally, like T Higgins is a major part of it.
62:09And like, all you really are hoping for is he stays healthy and Burrow stays healthy.
62:14And if like you get, if we get that one magical season where things work out for the Bengals, like we're just
62:21going to have a bonanza on our hands, right?
62:24Yes. That could be this year. Their offensive line is better and really just need Joe Burrow to stay healthy.
62:30That's been the key. I mean, obviously Flacco is a pretty good, you know, backup when it comes to fantasy.
62:37You know what I mean? Like he kind of keeps things, you know, in the air a bit, but certainly would rather have Joe Burrow.
62:45Totally. Totally. Love me some T Higgins. Uh, by the way, chase Brown is teed up for in there.
62:51Yeah. No, he's teed up for an absolute monster season.
62:54I mean, whether or not he gets there or not, obviously we never know, right?
62:59There's always things that can happen, but I mean, there's no competition for any part of any of it, not passing game,
63:06not goal line, not, you know, all of it.
63:09It's just, he's teed up for a huge workload on an offense with an improved offensive line and hopefully a healthy Joe Burrow.
63:16Like this couldn't be better for chase Brown. I I'm a, I'm a huge proponent of buying chase Brown in dynasty at his current cost.
63:24Matter of fact, you know, you guys disagree or what are your thoughts about that?
63:29I'll play a little of this or that, uh, in a, in a quick sec, but go ahead.
63:35I think another point he's also in a contract year.
63:38Um, but I, I kind of feel like the community has gotten a lot more confident in him.
63:44You know, like I think last year there was a lot of talk about those young running backs, like chase Brown doesn't
63:51have a ton of pedigree, blah, blah, blah. But now everybody's like, okay, we are set and we like this guy.
63:58So I think that's been nice to see. Um, I have sold chase Brown boys.
64:03Um, I sold him earlier in the off season for basial tootin and 27 first, I think maybe.
64:08Um, and so you take that deal for sure.
64:11Um, but what are you saying, Joe, as far as what Jack's laid out there?
64:16No, I mean, it's absolutely wheels up. The only thing you're really hoping for is health here.
64:22Um, I actually don't think it's that interesting of a conversation.
64:25It's like, yeah, chase Brown is a top 10 and probably closer to five than he is 10 in terms of like the 20, 20 six season.
64:34Um, he's got all the work to himself. Like this team just couldn't be more consolidated between two wide receivers and a running back and a quarterback.
64:42Right. Like, um, so, uh, and he's been catching passes, right?
64:46He's increased the number of passes he catches every year too.
64:49He's increased his touchdown. The teams increased their trust in him.
64:53What's shocking to me is how little they've put behind him, right?
64:57They're still rolling out some magic P Ryan and Taj Brooks.
65:00And I actually like Taj Brooks. And if, you know, anything were to happen to chase Brown, I'm kind of more interested
65:07in Taj Brooks than I am some magic P Ryan, but you know, he's not like anything to write home about.
65:14I think we had him ranked what like somewhere between 15 and 20 and last year's running back class.
65:20And we barely saw him last year, right? He got 16 carries.
65:24Um, it's kind of mind blowing to me. That's just some magic P Ryan back there, but it's because this team has
65:31spent so much money on the three most important players on offense, uh, that they, you know, haven't brought anybody in, but it's just kind of mind blowing.
65:40It's kind of irresponsible. The lack of depth behind chase Brown.
65:44But from a fantasy standpoint, like this is one of the few guys that kind of has it all to himself, right?
65:51He's like approaching, you know, CMC territory here in terms of you.
65:55Crazy. Yes. Uh, so, um, I don't know. It's hard to, it's hard not to be extremely bullish on him this year,
66:02but because of the contract issue that we just described, it's hard for me to believe that they're going to go spend
66:09a bunch of money on him next year because they're already paying a couple of dudes fat and have other things they
66:16need to fix in order to be a serious contender.
66:19Fair enough. Yeah. It's wheels up that trade, by the way, boys, it wasn't bashal in a first.
66:25It was chase Brown for Terrence Ferguson and a first in the, it's a 0.75 premium league.
66:30So I like that one, but tough, tough to get that sometimes for sure.
66:35Um, okay. We're going to, Hey, would you, would you trade quinch on Judkins to get the chase Brown?
66:41Yeah. Uh, no, no, I don't know if I would in dynasty.
66:45I don't think I would show. So yes, me too.
66:48Yeah. Interesting. Interesting. Um, the trade, even that you just described trap.
66:52I mean, it depends what your team is, right?
66:55If you're in a compete win now mode, I don't think I would have done that deal, but if you're looking to
67:02acquire assets, I was not at all. The perfect lunch combo.
67:05That first bite of your favorite sub followed by ice cold Pepsi.
67:09Hey, add a couple of friends and now that's next level.
67:13Suddenly the laughs get louder. The stories keep flowing and the food tastes better because Pepsi brings out more flavor, more fun, and more of the moment.
67:21Food deserves Pepsi. Grab a Pepsi zero sugar today.
67:24Football is back, baby. And whether you've been betting for years, you're just looking to put a little action on the games.
67:31My bookie needs to be added to your list of places to go line shopping.
67:36We've been talking about the teams we like and don't like for months.
67:40We're in on this Jets offense more than almost anybody.
67:44And we're terrified of this Falcons offense. Even though you got Bijan, you got Kyle Pitts, you got Drake London, but you got two bad left-handed quarterbacks.
67:52And you certainly don't need to be telling some fake betting expert on social media.
67:57Go to my bookie and find the plays you already know you like and take a shot.
68:03That's what's cool about my bookie. You can find the action you want and bet it wherever you are when the game kicks off.

68:37You're welcome. We're going to go to the Buffalo Bills fellas because this is an offense that looks like with some pieces
68:44that they added this season, we think could maybe take one more step.
68:48And that addition that I'm talking about, Joe is your boy, DJ Moore.
68:52I know that you've been getting a little steamy on him being added to the Bills offense for Josh Allen.
68:59So why don't you talk a little bit about where that steam is coming from?
69:04We do have one preseason game in the game in the books.
69:07So Joe, DJ Mo money. I mean, this kind of feels like when digs came to the bills and we saw Allen
69:14sort of break out, like what did they do?
69:17They went and got him a wide receiver. That's good at improvisation, like a great route runner, but can also improvise.
69:24With Allen, because that's kind of when this guy is at his best, right?
69:29He can shake loose from defenders. And when it all breaks down, like he just makes amazing things happen.
69:35And he really has been missing that sort of weapon that can get on a mind meld with him and get open
69:42downfield and, you know, different ways in different directions.
69:45And it can win downfield consistently. So DJ Moore feels like just a good fit for the type of quarterback that Josh Allen is.
69:52And the thing that Josh Allen does best. I also think that's why DJ Moore was never going to work in like a Ben Johnson offense.
70:01And, you know, we saw how their season ended last year.
70:04And it's because DJ Moore kind of, you know, gave up on some routes or kind of did his own thing as
70:11opposed to really sticking to the plan. So I think he's a better fit for a QB like Allen and the type
70:18of offense that they're going to run. And we've also seen him put up big boy seasons.
70:24And there is nobody on this team, all respect to a guy we like, Khalil Shakir, all respect to a guy we're
70:31hoping we see a lot more from, Don Kincaid.
70:34We certainly don't think much of Keon Coleman. Like there's nobody on this team that is going to be ahead in the pecking order like then more.
70:42And Allen even said, I thought it was really telling after the preseason game.
70:47He said, I think it was important to establish, I'm not reading a quote, I'm just going off of memory here.
70:54So I'm summarizing a little bit. He said, I think it was important to establish the tone.
70:59I think getting him the ball early really puts pressure on the defense and that, you know, going to him early and often makes them adjust.
71:08And that's when we can really take advantage of a defense.
71:11So it's like part of the game plan to establish that there is a guy you need to account for.
71:18It's not just me anymore. And that's going to change the whole dynamic.
71:22So I think we can expect him to score early and often.
71:26And he's going to be, you know, Allen's favorite target without a doubt, you know, barring injury that he had like this
71:33kind of scary roll up moment where I was a little bit worried it might've been a high ankle sprain.
71:39But it kind of feels like a match made in heaven for like these twilight prime years of DJ more.
71:45So I couldn't be more bullish. I just took him in that startup that we're doing right now.
71:51I don't know how many more years we have left of DJ more guy that plays his style.
71:57You know, he's got the yak ability to, I mean, there's just so many things that work well with Josh Allen, but
72:04I think it's the improvisation downfield and the ability to work kind of the short area of the field that like really
72:11makes it appealing in this offense because they're just lacking explosion from that position and have been for a long time.
72:18Totally. Totally. I would, I would agree. You know, I wonder where you, you would have them.
72:23I know you haven't updated your ranks yet, Joe, but I did.
72:27And there's a little bit of a firewall where you kind of run up against like, okay, he's 29 years old.
72:34I can't get him any higher, but I guess I'll just ask like, yeah, let's play the game.
72:40Let's play the game. Yeah. Because there's some that are like kind of easy, but like, okay, just here's, here's a good one, right?
72:47Like Terry McLaurin or DJ more. God, man, you go right, right to my heart on this one.
72:53I mean, I'm going to go DJ more this year too.
72:57There's a number of reasons why I'm really concerned about Washington.
73:00This is a topic for another show on another day, but you know, Jaden Daniels has kind of given me the X
73:07with, you know, the internet dunked all over him in the last week with the number five thing, right?
73:13There's the whole weirdness with his mom, uh, not to get too psychological, but it's like the, uh, he, he, he's starting
73:21to get the stink on him a little bit.
73:23And that offense got a lot worse losing Tunsil.
73:26Um, so I'm just worried about Washington as a whole, where those questions don't exist for me with a Josh Allen led team.
73:34So it's DJ more, um, and you know, he's two years younger than Terry McLaurin, different play style.
73:39I think McLaurin's game ages better than more, but it's more this year for sure.
73:44That was supposed to be the easy one, but they get harder.
73:48Yeah. Okay. Go on. Jameson Williams or DJ more, uh, DJ more two spots behind Jameson Williams.
73:54Yeah. In dynasty, I have to take Jameson Williams over DJ more.
73:57Um, and it's not like, yeah, I don't know if this year is a toss up between the two, but longterm you got to take the younger guy.
74:06By the way, Jameson Williams is right about where the firewall is.
74:10Uh, here's another firewall player, Christian Watson or DJ more DJ more.
74:14Not close. Brian Thomas, Jr. I think I'm Christian Watson on that one.
74:18I love it. Brian Thomas, Jr. Or DJ more.
74:21Hold on. Let's go back to the Christian Watson thing.
74:24Um, why are you, why are you Christian Watson over DJ more?
74:28Like my rankings don't actually have that. Um, he's a couple of years younger and I think that's a fucking close one, man.
74:36That's a really close one. Yeah. I mean, we, we just, I'm excited.
74:40I'm just excited about Christian Watson. So maybe there's a little recency bias in that.
74:45Yeah. Yeah. I'm excited about Christian Watson too, but he's, you know, we still haven't seen him do it for a full season yet.
74:52Nope. We have seen more do it. We've had, we've seen more do it on bad teams.
74:58We've seen him do it on good teams. We saw him do it.
75:02DJs for crying out loud. Three spots ahead, three spots ahead.
75:06So I'll keep, I'll stay. I mean, it's one of those, it's one of those things where, you know, I think you
75:13gotta be just looking at two year windows with ages like that.
75:17And I think the two year window with DJ more is about as good as anything.
75:22His 29 and 30 year old seasons. Um, what about Brian Thomas jr.
75:26Or DJ more PTJ? Yeah. I think given what's going on with Brian Thomas jr.
75:31In that offense, you know, their head coach isn't going to change anytime soon.
75:35I don't think the scheme is going to change anytime soon.
75:39And I don't think Lawrence is going to magically learn how to drop the ball in the bucket for Brian Thomas to excel.
75:46So until Brian Thomas is on a different team, I don't think they're going to resign him the way things are looking.
75:53Um, I think it's DJ more. Yeah. Wow. He's right around.
75:57He's right around wide receiver 30. And, um, what about, um, what about, uh, Parker Washington?
76:02Not close for you. This is DJ more by a lot or.
76:06This answer could change as the season goes on.
76:09Because if I'm fading Brian Thomas, then I've got to probably be more bullish on Parker Washington.
76:14That being said, like, you know, we haven't seen it from Parker Washington over the course of an entire season either.
76:21I'd say Parker Washington is actually kind of interesting because he's kind of, he's not as big, but he's like kind of
76:28a similar player in some ways to DJ more.
76:31So I don't know. I think I would still, you know, gun to my head right now, who would I rather have on my team for the season?
76:40I think it's DJ more, but that could look very dumb by like week four.
76:45Yeah. And then this one is interesting. I'll give you, I'll, I'll end with this conversation.
76:50Cause this is pretty interesting to me in deeper leagues.
76:53This would be the only time that this would really happen because in shallower leagues, you wouldn't give up any of the rookies for DJ more, right?
77:02Because you could just play Jacoby Myers or Parker Washington or a million other players you have.
77:07But in like a 12, 12, like I'm talking about, that's where DJ more is for sure.
77:12A starter on every team. Nobody's not starting DJ more.
77:16So, you know, he's a, he's a locked in starter in those situations.
77:20Would you consider selling any of the rookies? And I, you know, in other words, you know, obviously stripling, would you sell stripling for him?
77:28Would you sell Omar Cooper for him? You know, would you go up to Denzel?
77:33Omar Cooper. Yes. See what I'm saying? You'd have, where do you draw the line?
77:38Concepcion is where I draw the line. You'd have to go on.
77:41I'm not selling for DJ more. I correct. I'm not selling them for DJ more.
77:46Boston. It could be so different next year. Once they've got a quarterback situation figured out.
77:51But like, I think Boston, I would probably, if I'm going to win now mode in a deep league with, you know,
77:58a star 12 and I'm getting two years out of DJ more versus Boston catching the ball from the Sean Watson, who
78:05like has trouble figuring out what a forward pass even looks like right now.
78:10Like, yeah, it's DJ more. What about, what about Jordan Tyson?
78:14I think it's Tyson still. Well, that injury is fucking crazy though.
78:17It's pretty scary. It's pretty scary. Very scary. But I think I can just, the value dictates that I can get more
78:24for Tyson that I can get to DJ more.
78:27So I think that reason is Tyson. Correct. That's right.
78:31While I'm here, my Casey Concepcion ranking might shock you a little bit, but I have a moved all the way up
78:38to wide receiver 25 and I have them back to back with Carnell Tate and I am considering swapping them.
78:44I mean, I'm not there. I can like, I like it.
78:48I like it. I think that that would jive with the profile of wide receivers that you are ranking above other profiles of wide receivers.
78:56Right. So that to me, that fits how you would rank them for sure.
79:00I don't hate it either. I have Concepcion at 32.
79:03And as I'm looking at it right now, I could probably have them up to as high as 28.
79:09So I'm pretty steamy on him as well. I just, I got Carnell Tate is my 21.
79:15So two year windows boys, two year windows, DJ more AJ Brown.
79:19Wait, hold on. I want to. Okay, go ahead.
79:22Yeah. You got to get back in on the other one.
79:25This is too much to this too juicy to pass up on because so red meat.
79:30So at the time of this recording, you know, week one of the preseason has happened in week two has not happened yet.
79:38We, we talked last week before seeing this preseason game about Alec.
79:42Uh, I am an or more or less being able to play X, uh, and being interchangeable with Carnell Tate.
79:48And that's kind of what we saw. He was playing X and actually Tate was playing Z, which is not what we expected.
79:55What our fear was with Tate was that he was going to get pigeonholed into this X receiver rule and end up being the sacrificial X.
80:04So I actually, despite the showing from the Tennessee Titans got kind of a lot more bullish on Carnell Tate.
80:10And that's based on the development of IO manner, um, being able to now be that sacrificial, uh, X allowing Tate to do more.
80:18So I don't think I'm quite ready for that yet.
80:21And this is kind of just a pedigree thing.
80:24Uh, I also going to go back to model scores, you know, and I know why conception score was lower than it probably should have been.
80:32It's a fair conversation to have. I just don't want it to go unsaid that our assumptions about what Tate was going
80:39to be in the NFL have changed, may have changed.
80:43And now we need to take that into consideration.
80:45So like, you know, unfortunately we were like the lowest on Tate.
80:49So it's not like there's this huge buying opportunity, right?
80:53Because everybody else was higher on tape than we were trying to run.
80:57Yeah. I was high on tape. Yeah. The other thing that we have not seen is any evidence whatsoever at all that camp Ward is any good.
81:05Like we have no evidence. Like, you know, there's a lot of hopium and a lot of like film guy.
81:12Trust me, bro. You know what? I have a lot of evidence on though, is that, that Deshaun Watson is bad now.
81:19And Shador Sanders is also bad. So you can't really use that argument in these two against each other.
81:25Yeah. I sure can both have new. Because if they stuck there, well, that's, that's the question is would Tennessee be willing
81:32to pull the plug on a 1.01, right? We've seen it later on.
81:36Okay. Absolutely. It would be, this is a new coaching staff.
81:40They didn't, this is not the regime that brought Ward in.
81:43Right. So yeah, he could absolutely be on the outs.
81:46If he, they just, yeah, whatever it's will. I know Levis is a different story because it wasn't a first round pick,
81:54but I mean, it wasn't one-on-one too. Yeah. It's harder to get off the one-on-one, but I'm just saying, you know, that, that, that you're going to try.
82:03It's easier now than it's ever been. Teams are pulling the plug on these guys early.
82:08So I don't think this is going to have an award, but I mean, you're not buying.
82:13Maybe I'll be just mediocre enough to stick around.
82:16We're not saying he's bad. Yeah. I'm not buying a quarterback argument where we're comparing it to the Browns, right?
82:22That's, that's where the, that's where I call BS.
82:25We'll see, man. We'll see. I mean, I, you know, this, this story remains to be seen and we're going to see
82:32it play out a little bit more. I'm not buying the Cleveland quarterback situation, but I am saying that like at the
82:39very least, you know, the, the things that Casey Concepcion does is easier for a quarterback to get to.
82:46Those are a little bit easier buttons to press than the buttons that Carnell Tate.
82:50What do you mean? No, I think that Casey's.
82:53If Carnell Tate's playing the Z, then his targets become a lot easier, right?
82:58He didn't look like he had any easy targets in that, in game one.
83:02Now that's one, one preseason data point. In a new offense.
83:06Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. No, no, no. I'm not. Look, that's not what we're going to expect is Oh, for four, you know,
83:13or whatever, you know, it's not right. It's going to be just like 78 targets, zero catches.
83:18Like, I don't think that's what we're going to be seeing.
83:22And Concepcion is traditionally the kind of guy and the profile of player that we like better than the Carnell Tate's.
83:29I'm just saying there's new information now on Tate that gives me pause.
83:33And I don't think I'm ready to make that shift because although things, you know, Concepcion has answered a lot of questions
83:40already and looks very promising and, you know, kind of checks the box and the profiles that we like more Tate just got a lot more interesting too.
83:49So it's, it's close. I'm, I'm okay. I'm just actually glad I don't have a lot of Tate, Lemon and Tyson.
83:56I just, I'm glad I traded out of there.
83:59I'm glad I got 27 firsts for him. And, you know, I, I feel really good about having not made those picks
84:06as opposed to sinking in and just making a 102 on Tate.
84:09So much Lemon. I have 50% Lemon. Oh, really?
84:12I have, I didn't get much Lemon or Tate.
84:15Like 30, 20, 30. But I got lots of Tate and I'm still happy about Tate.
84:20I think I was just repeatedly trading back to the 105 and getting every time.
84:25Right. And I got some Concepcion. I got some of all of them, but like, uh, yeah, I've got a lot of
84:32Lemon and I really need that hamstring to get well soon.
84:36Speaking of these wide receivers, it is looking terrible for Omar Cooper.
84:40Like the rookie wide receivers we're talking about. I know we were talking about the Buffalo bills, but we're here now.
84:46Yeah. Omar Cooper signals are fucking terrible and see some clips.
84:50There's one that I think Josh Norris posted today of him running drills and just pointing out the way he moves compared to Garrett Wilson.
84:58And not only does he move terribly, he drops a very easy target.
85:02It was hard to see. Um, for somebody who we thought Jack's, you were talking about like those 109s and those 110s
85:09where you were able to get some Omar Cooper.
85:12And that's where we were hoping some of that value was going to come out of him.
85:18He's not dead. He was still a first round pick.
85:21He's still got a lot of, you know, growth to do.
85:24Um, and on a team that could use secondary targets.
85:27And so, yeah, he's not, it's not looking good so far.
85:31No, that's what I'm saying. None of these wide receivers.
85:34I mean, ironically, it's the Cleveland wide receivers that look the best out of all of them, uh, in stripling, uh, you know, stripling, stripling is looking insane.
85:43Like he's good. He's probably going to be ranked as my wide receiver one for the 2026 season among the rookies.
85:50I ignored the, the, the model too much there because the model actually really likes dribbling.
85:55So another sort of hit by the model, I guess.
85:58Yeah. So good. Yep. Shout out, shout out. Um, okay, boys finishing off the bills here.
86:03Josh Allen's value. Like is, is this another way of kind of, it's kind of a theme of the show actually talking
86:11about like chase and Puka and stuff like talking about selling at that apex.
86:15I don't think we've seen signs of like a downturn from Josh Allen by any means.
86:20The, the, where I'm coming at this from boys is I think on a team that's contending with Josh Allen, you can
86:27trade Josh Allen and the quarterback that you get back can keep you as a contender as well as give you a plus, right?
86:35Like I think you can stay a contender if you trade away Josh Allen and get one of these younger quarterbacks.
86:42Like you could get Josh Allen or you could get Jackson dart plus you could get bow Knicks plus plus probably for Josh Allen.
86:49Right. And I wonder how viable you guys think that is as far as maybe cashing in on some of that value and staying strong as a team.
86:58I mean, I mean, go ahead, Joe. Yeah. I did this last year in the underground league where I drafted Josh Allen
87:05at the one Oh one, if I'm not mistaken.
87:08And I had some injuries and you know, my team was pretty good, but I needed to, you know, start talking about
87:15these deep leagues where it just makes sense to move an elite asset to go, you know, tear down.
87:22And I think I ended up getting like, I don't know, Dak Prescott and a running back and a wide receiver and
87:29a pick like, you know, so it's just like in instances like that where it's an emergency and you need to sort
87:36of stay competitive and you know, whatever I ended up finishing third could have very easily won the championship.
87:42If I just traded for chase Brown, not that that haunts me or anything like, yes, everybody is movable.
87:48That being said, I don't want to understate this.
87:51Like Josh Allen has been a top two quarterback for what the last five years, six years.
87:56Right. He's finished one or two. I mean, his consistency has now eclipsed.
88:00Uh, what, you know, we would, the statute that we had Patrick Mahomes at, uh, I would also say there was another
88:07really interesting stat that I was reading about Josh Allen.
88:11I think he has already in his career. More 30 point games than any quarterback than any fantasy quarterback ever.
88:17Right. So we're not just talking about like the best quarterback from a fantasy standpoint of a generation.
88:23We're talking about like, he's legitimately like he's the LaDainian Tomlinson of quarterback for fantasy football.
88:28Uh, and still very much in his prime and just got a shiny new weapon.
88:33So I don't know, just when you're trading Josh on, when you're thinking about trading Josh on, just keep that in mind,
88:40like having him, uh, you're, you're basically halfway to the playoffs just by having Josh Allen.
88:45Yes. That's a good way to put it. No, it's true.
88:49He dragged a mediocre team of mine to the playoffs last year.
88:52And like, so yeah, I, you know, it, he's one of those guys that, yeah, he can spearhead a rebuild, but I
88:59wouldn't just sell him in a vacuum to gain value.
89:03Um, I would want to make sure it's part of a waterfall, right?
89:07That there's other things that are happening that you're really going to just retool this team entirely and not just sort of
89:14be like, I'll sell them and pick up an extra, you know, that doesn't sound like a good plan.
89:20Um, because as Joe points out, he's a really a queen chess piece in fantasy.
89:25And I think that he will be for a while.
89:28I know Keegan was talking to earlier pre-shows we're hanging out.
89:32He's like really hard to take a 30 year old quarterback with the one-on-one.
89:36Um, but that's how good he is. And so, yeah, I think there's probably a little bit of attrition coming, but it
89:43might not be for three or four years. I mean, this guy could get to 33, 34 and still be putting this up.
89:51So, you know, it couldn't happen sooner. Of course, man.
89:54The times the clock's ticking for all of us, but, uh, I would be confident hanging on to him, especially on competitive
90:01teams and only trading him to start a waterfall of rebuild where everything is sort of, you know, revolving around that move.
90:08Here was the hall I got for Josh on.
90:11I just pushed, pulled it up. This was in the underground league.
90:15I traded Josh Allen and Tez Johnson away to our boy, Marcus.
90:19I got back Dak Prescott and Joe Milton. I got Lad McConkie.
90:22I got Ramondre Stevenson. I got, uh, a 26 first, which ended up being the one 12, which I thereafter traded away.
90:29Uh, and I got a 27 second. Um, so a first, a second Dak lad and Ramondre, you know, so it was a good haul.
90:37And not only that, it was guys I could start, right?
90:41I could start Ramondre down the stretch. I could start lad down the stretch, or, you know, you know, basically for the
90:48entirety of the season, he had a relatively disappointing season last year, but that was a long-term asset.
90:54So that's the kind of haul you need to get and, you know, multiple picks on top of that.
91:00Yep. I like it boys. I like it. That would be a wrap.
91:04Another fun show of Dynasty Underground. Of course, make sure you subscribe to that YouTube channel.
91:09Check us out on your audio platforms and check out otcffb.com, the sickest website in the landscape.
91:15By the way, it was so easy for me to pull up that trade just now.
91:20I literally just opened otcffb.com. I pulled up our league.
91:23I searched my completed trade or completed trades, and I just plugged in Josh Allen all seasons and it came up immediately.
91:30Like I did that. I did that in two minutes while Jax was talking just to- By the way, and it didn't,
91:37it didn't do the thing where it took forever to load the league.
91:41Did it do that? No, it didn't glitch at all.
91:45What? I didn't have to restart the app. Just looking for it is incredible.
91:49Wow. Incredible website. Incredible website you guys got there.
91:52Yeah. So fun show, boys. We are getting closer to the beginning of the season and we couldn't be more excited.
91:59So thanks for sticking around with us. There's lots more to come for Jax Falcone.
