PositiveValue73:34

Jonny Tooma targets Pat Freiermuth as a screaming value, expecting a resurgence in an improved Steelers offense and noting he is a starting tight end available late in drafts.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

NegativeUsage30:29

Jonny Tooma maintains a fade on Quinton Johnston, noting that while he will have boom weeks if Herbert has time, he is not a 'must-have' player. Tooma highlights that Johnston's college profile as a YAC/catch-and-run player has persisted, and he is not the contested-catch monster his size might suggest.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveValue39:40

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveSleeper34:20

Insight page

PositiveProjection45:25

PositiveSleeper69:01

Jonny Tooma identifies Terrence Ferguson as a sleeper pick, noting his physical and athletic talent, though acknowledging the crowded tight end room in Dallas.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeValue32:07

Jonny Tooma and Blake Stalder agree that Travis Etienne's ADP has been too high, noting that sharp drafters have allowed him to slip.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveValue14:01

0:22Welcome to the Player Profiler Network. We have an exciting show tonight.
0:26We're going to be doing a $150 Best Ball Draft and NFFC's Best Ball Championship.
0:31I've got my best buddy from my childhood days, Bradley Stalder, with me.
0:35We went to the Combine together. We've been talking ball all offseason.
0:39He knows a ton. Say what's up to the viewers, Blake.
0:43What's up, everybody? Blake here. It's happy to be here and to give you guys some cutting info on how to run your best ball leagues.
0:51Let's get into it. Heck yeah. We've got a great show for you tonight.
0:56The draft is kicking off right now at 8 o'clock, so don't go anywhere.
1:01All right. We're going to get into this draft board.
1:04First pick just went off the board, Jameer Gibbs.
1:07This is NFFC's $150 Best Ball Championship. The $150 entry winner of this 12-team league that we're in gets $800, but first
1:14place across all of these teams is going to have the chance to win $30K.
1:19That's what we're going for. We're going for this $30K championship.
1:23If you've never played on NFFC, you can get $100 off your first entry of $150 or more using promo code FIRSTTIME100.
1:30All caps, first time $100. This is a unique format.
1:33We've got three wide receivers, full PPR, six-point passing touchdowns, third-round reversal.
1:37We're drafting from the sixth spot, and I am on the clock already.
1:42We're flying. I'm going to go with JSN here because we care about that third-round reversal.
1:47We're not touching Christian McCaffrey, Mr. Electrical Substation himself.
1:50And I actually think this is great. We've got a guy like him falling to us a bit, JSN here.
1:56So we're going to take him off the board, and there we go.
2:01That's pretty simple for me. This is a best ball format, which means the best players who score every week are going
2:08to be the ones that hit your lineup. A guy like JSN proved he is a field stretcher.
2:14There's a little bit of concern with Clint Kubiak going off to Vegas, but I still think they're going to use him wisely.
2:22Mike McDonald proves to be a good leader of men and coaching staff, and I think he's going to make sure that
2:29they utilize JSN's talents as one of the top receivers in the league.
2:33You know, Blake. Me and you are buddies. Like I said, who's the OG truther of JSN?
2:39Well, I think a lot of people were high on JSN, but you were definitely very loud about it.
2:45He was your everything, I believe, right? That was my nickname for him on Sleeper when I drafted him in all the leagues we were in.
2:54My first two years, it looked like, what do you mean?
2:57This guy's your everything? Year three, yes. Year three breakout, dude.
3:01Yeah, I was going to say the guy going before us took Amon-Ra St.
3:06Brown at the five, which makes it pretty easy for us.
3:09Yeah. Not a bad pick, though. That's not a bad pick either.
3:13Well, I honestly, there's something to be said for, like you said, Kubiak leaving.
3:18JSN's efficiency numbers were absurd last year with the amount of damage he did on the amount of targets and everything and touches.
3:25So there's questions about whether or not he's going to be as efficient this year.
3:30But you just got to, in a three wide receiver, best ball draft like this one, you got to smash your wide receiver there.
3:38He's still an elite talent. The thing about JSN is that he just works on, he works up in the middle, he
3:46works on the outside, and he works in the red zone.
3:49And he's doing all three of those things for your offense.
3:53Got to take him there in the first round.
3:56Yep. Yep. And I'm going to just kind of give you guys a peek into my strategy here.
4:02We're going to probably go running back on this next round, just based on how the board usually falls.
4:08There's probably going to be one of these stud running backs that we can kind of anchor to and build a hero RB build around.
4:16If not, I'll swallow my medicine. I'll probably go with another wide receiver.
4:21But my approach is going to be to lean heavy on wide receiver, get those premium wide receivers in the early rounds.
4:28And since we've got 30 rounds, I'm going to start layering in those RB2s, even RB3s in uncertain situations.
4:34And I'm going to hammer running back in the later rounds of the draft.
4:39I just feel like that's a better approach where those guys have more upside than some of those wide receiver fours on
4:46their own team, which you're going to get in those pick 200s.
4:50So we're coming back on the board. We've seen some guys fly off, but we still got Amarion Hampton on the board.
4:57We still got Devon Achan. I'm willing to take Devon Achan.
5:01Yes, me too, actually. At the middle of the second, absolutely.
5:05I think at the turn this year, Achan, obviously there's a lot of talk about how bad the Dolphins look on paper.
5:12That offense, a lot of moving parts this year coming in and out with the coaching and everything.
5:18But Achan's still in the lead talent. Somebody has to get touches there.
5:22Even if they put up 200, 220 yards a game through the air and then see how they are able to run the ball.
5:30Yeah. Well, I was starting to say total yards, but then I was like, that would be pretty miserable, 200 total yards a game.
5:38But I mean, it's possible. We could get sniped here, and we did.
5:42So now we've got our choices are between Drake London and A.J.
5:46Brown. And you start looking at George Pickens, Jeremiah Love, Brock Bowers.
5:50I think it's too early for Love, unfortunately. I think I'm going to go with A.J.
5:56Brown here. And part of the reason is because I am bullish on Drake May.
6:00I would like to potentially stack later if that's a possibility, if he falls to me.
6:06This is a six-point passing touchdown, like I said.
6:09So those quarterbacks get a little bit – the ones that throw the ball well get a little bit of an extra bump.
6:16Now, Drake won both, but I think he has really – he ascended a lot last year, right?
6:22So you got any qualms with me taking A.J.
6:25Brown over Drake London here? No, I'm a huge fan of A.J.
6:29this year. Getting out of Philly should be a much better environment for him to see more targets, see more work down the field.
6:37And it opens up the key later for the stack if we want to go May in like probably seventh round if he falls.
6:45I think with the three wide receivers, we're not really looking to take May like too, too early.
6:51Especially in the – yeah, how – actually, let me ask you this.
6:55In a six-point passing touchdown league, I'm assuming Burrow's ADP – like guys like Burrow would be going before Lamar Jackson even in this format.
7:04Yeah, let's look at ADPs with quarterbacks. How do you value Drake May in this format?
7:09Because like you said, he does both. He's going to run.
7:13He's going to get you rushing yards. But he is – he's a guy who likes to pass the ball in the
7:20red zone, I feel like, more than say like Josh Allen.
7:23Dude, I think he's such a discount in this format.
7:27Josh Allen's got a 31 ADP. Burrow's got a 58.
7:30Hey, Lamar's got a 62. So you've got Drake May at QB4 at a 64 ADP.
7:35Again, we're going to see if we can sling him maybe in the fifth or sixth round.
7:41We're not going to reach for him per se.
7:44But I think there is – I'm kind of a contrarian in the sense of like I don't think that stacking your
7:51quarterback with your wide receivers is absolutely pertinent where you have to reach for a wide receiver.
7:57In a 30-round draft, you can do some back-end stacks and still get some quarterback and wide receiver stacks.
8:03So I don't feel like it's a necessity to reach for a wide receiver.
8:08I will just say there is a caveat to all this.
8:11I absolutely love Brock Bowers. And it was kind of sad to see him get picked very quickly, immediately after I made that pick.
8:19But I kind of told you before the show started, Blake, with these three wide receivers hitting your lineup, I just think
8:27it tweaks the scales a little bit more where I'm just a little bit more leaning in on getting that elite wide receiver set up.
8:35And, you know, there's so much talent at tight end in the later rounds of the draft.
8:41I've been vocal all year. I think guys like Travis Kelsey are undervalued.
8:45I think George Kittle is a bit undervalued because he's making such a great recovery from the injury based on all the offseason reports we've seen.
8:53So I kind of told you early on, we might go for Brett Bowers if he slips in the third.
9:00We might take Loveland if he falls to us, maybe Warren.
9:04But if not, we're just going to kind of ride it out and we're just going to see what falls to us at tight end.
9:12I think there's I was telling you guys like Juwan Johnson that I'm happy if you get, you know, Juwan Johnson and
9:19a couple other tight ends, you've got a solid tight end room.
9:23So my approach here is also going to be probably like a three, nine, a three quarterback, nine running back, nine wide
9:30receiver, three tight end, maybe three defense, three kickers.
9:33We are drafting. This is kickers and defensive league.
9:36So they're going to start going off the board around round 14.
9:40We don't want to get caught with just one kicker.
9:44Usually that's not the best approach in these formats, but it also isn't the end of the world.
9:50But again, maybe we land on two or three kickers, two or three defenses and hammer those running backs in the later
9:57rounds, like I said, but really build that wide receiver core early with some premium wide receivers.
10:03So that's that's sort of my strategy going into this.
10:06Figured I'd let the guys know what I'm thinking.
10:09So we're in the middle of the third round here.
10:12Now we're going to be up in a few picks.
10:15Now we've got to start looking at who's going to be on the board here.
10:20We've got Jeremiah Love next in ADP, Trey McBride, Emekic Buka and Brees Hall.
10:25I think I know who I'm going with out of those guys if one of them falls to us, but I will leave that to to.
10:34Oh, and there he goes. That was going to be my pick.
10:38So now I get in a little bit of a scary situation because that was kind of I was hoping that Buka could could fall to us.
10:47I it doesn't surprise me that he didn't. But we're going to hang out for a second.
10:52We're going to see what comes up on the board here and we're going to make our pick.
10:58Oh, and I am on the board. Okay. So love Paul.
11:02And who is the other? So love Trey McBride, Brees Hall, Tett McMillan, T Higgins, Garrett Wilson, Ladd McConkie.
11:08I'm going to go Ladd McConkie, man. And this is because I just I think it's everybody knows that this offense is
11:15going to be a high scoring offense this year.
11:18This is a guy who the piece of the pie that we want.
11:23And again, could be some really fun stack with Burrow if we can't land or I meant to say with Herbert, if we can't land Drake May.
11:32Right. So we're opening up the board to give us a few different stack options.
11:36I'm not really keen on drafting Sam Darnold to stack with.
11:40Yeah, that's what I was going to say about.
11:43JSN. Yeah, if we're going to probably end up getting Darnold, I imagine.
11:47Just because I don't know why I haven't seen like exactly where his ADP goes.
11:52But I think if we if we miss on May, we'll want Darnold as a QB too.
11:58Now we can get Herbert. So I like that opening up another pathway there for a stack.
12:04Like I don't invest ball like I think the Jets might be.
12:08I mean, they're not going to be worse than they were last year, but I don't really like taking Jets players in basketball.
12:15Right. Frank Reich running the helm there. You know, Wilson throwing tons of interceptions and camp not looking that great last year.
12:22I think it is. He can't go anywhere but up.
12:26Do you know Smith? Because he does have a solid weapons around him.
12:30But yeah, I just couldn't bring myself to draft Reese Hall or Garrett Wilson and depend on them.
12:36I just want pieces of good offenses. So I think we've done that so far.
12:41Right. We know that the Seahawks lean on JSN.
12:44They have a solid offense. It's run first, but we know he gets such a large target share.
12:50AJ Brown, New England Patriots. That's going to be a really good offense.
12:54He's going to be the guy there too. Sorry, what was that?
12:58AJ's going to be the guy there too. I mean, Dubs is there.
13:02They have Pudi, but they're going to look to get AJ Brown.
13:06I mean, if he's not getting 10, 12 targets a game, they're not running their offense.
13:12Right. I mean, there's something to be said. People have been talking about McDaniels and his, you know, in the past, he's
13:19been one to really want to spread the ball around all of those years with Brady.
13:24But I think when you have a guy like AJ Brown and then the separation between him and Dubs, you're really going
13:32to work to scheme AJ Brown the ball, especially you just got him in a trade and you want to make sure you keep him happy.
13:40I think he's going to be a big year for Brown.
13:44Dude, he's, you know, he's the kind of guy who's just going to scream and moan if he does not get the ball enough.
13:52So I, you know what? I'm not keen on telling you guys who I'm going to draft before, because now I feel like you guys are the board.
14:01Maybe some of these guys are in this live stream and they're just intent on sniping me.
14:07So we're going to wait for till we're on the board to talk.
14:11But there's some guys that I think are a good value in this range, specifically at running back.
14:17And one of them, I can't wait. If he falls to us, I'm going to be happy to take him.
14:24And I think, oh, there he was. Javante Williams goes.
14:27And it's funny because you and I, we're both Denver Broncos fans.
14:31You know, I have been so out on him for so many years, but he's, he's a value this year, right?
14:38After he came back and he produced the way he did in 2025, I think that would have been a great start for the draft.
14:46So we're back on the board. I know who I'm going for.
14:50We've got NADP, Josh Jacobs, Travis CTN, Luther Burden, Terry McLaurin.
14:54But then I'm going to go for my guy.
14:57This is just a flag plant for me. I think he could potentially be the tight end one this year, unless, you know, probably Bowers.
15:05But give me some Colston Loveland, man. Absolutely love him.
15:08Again, great offense. Burden's dinged up. He's going to be missing some valuable training camp snaps.
15:13And if you look at, I think, including the playoffs, he was averaging 12 targets a game over his last four games of the season.
15:22Loveland was like the heart and soul of that offense.
15:25And I think that's what we'll continue to see going into 2026.
15:29Again, guys that I was just incredibly high on coming out of college.
15:33Jackson Smith and Jigbo was probably one of my biggest flag plants.
15:37And then second, and maybe even above him, was Colston Loveland.
15:41I was telling everybody, this is the tight end one of the draft when people were saying it was going to be Tyler Warren.
15:49So really validating to see him have such a good late breakout and just such an awesome receiver.
15:55I think he actually, there's a lot that he does that reminds me of Colston or of Brock Bauer.
16:01So a little bit of a sore spot here where we don't have a running back yet.
16:07But again, I'm not, I'm not stressing that too much because I do think there are still some solid values on the board in terms of running back.
16:16I think some guys who are going to fall in the next couple of rounds are good values.
16:22And we'll talk about those unless somehow I get sniped on all of them.
16:27But I think what we also did by drafting three wide receivers is we start dictating the board a little bit where
16:34people feel like they might need to play catch up on wide receiver a little bit.
16:39So that's sort of my approach here. We've got that tight end that I love.
16:44And I think that's another thing I really wanted to do.
16:48And I think I would recommend everybody does in these high stakes draft is like, don't always just go off ADP and the next guy up on ADP.
16:57Go for your guys, go for the guys you have the highest amount of conviction in.
17:02And I have a lot of conviction in Colston Loveland.
17:06Yeah, Loveland. Yeah, I do think you said makes sense to me.
17:10I'm really high on the talent, really high on the offense.
17:13I think even if the receivers struggle to solidify themselves in their roles, it's like either Rome's going to be the alpha
17:20or Burden's going to be the alpha. I think Loveland's going to eat pretty much no matter what.
17:26He's going to see targets in the middle of the field.
17:30He's going to see those like, you know, design bootleg passes.
17:34And and he's just he's basically a wide receiver himself.
17:37So I think he's got upside to play in the fourth there.
17:41And there goes Josh Jacobs. I was going to say, are we just like we're totally fading him?
17:47No, no, I'm not totally fading him. I do think dinged up groin.
17:51There's some off the field issues that are still somewhat unresolved.
17:55I do think he slipped a little bit further than I expected.
17:59Montgomery before Jacob seems a bit strange to me.
18:02Just Montgomery before Jacob seems strange. I maybe would take scat before him, but.
18:06I do like. I do like David Montgomery situation a lot.
18:10This is another guy who I've historically not liked because I am a Gibbs owner right in many fantasy leagues.
18:17And it's just like he's always been a thorn in the side.
18:21Every time he comes out on the field, you're like, get this guy off the field.
18:26He's not as good as Gibbs, but now he's going to be the guy there.
18:31I really do see it being almost like a Joe Mixon role when he was on the Texans a few years ago
18:38and was averaging like 20 points a game. Now I failed to stay healthy, but I do think Montgomery would have been
18:45a great pick if we could have landed him.
18:48Doesn't look like that's going to be the case, but we're going to go for.
18:53We're just going to keep pushing anyways. Again, I feel like there's still some really good values on the board coming up.
19:01Me too, actually. Yeah, Swift goes. There's still maybe two or three guys that I would actually.
19:06Yeah, I think we're going to be okay running back.
19:10Even I would have liked the HN Jr. there.
19:13The HN Jr. You know what? He slipped a bit and I agree with it.
19:18He was a 42 ADP and he slipped a bit there.
19:21And I think that's right. I think this is a lot of sharp drafters in this room.
19:27You're spending 150 bucks on an entry. You're going to be sharper than the field usually.
19:32I think everybody agrees Travis HN's ADP has been high.
19:35What did I tell you? I told you we would see Parker Washington go early, dude.
19:41People are sticking to their guns. Now, this is where I'm going to make a bit of an interesting move here.
19:48I'm between Quinshawn Judkins and Bucky Irving on the clock here.
19:51I might lean Judkins. Typically, I get scared off by the injury.
19:55It's not a great offense, but I do believe Todd Munkin is going to make some changes.
20:01It's going to be an improved offense. And again, he has just been so outward about his praise for Judkins, his ability to do it all.
20:09Travion Henderson is also on the board, but I struggle with him at cost.
20:14I think I'd rather have the other running back there.
20:17So I'm going to go with Quinshawn Judkins. Bucky Irving was another choice we could make, but I do see that being a bit more of a timeshare.
20:27I think you're going to see some involvement with Kenny Gainwell in the passing game.
20:32And Sean Tucker is actually a guy that I'm looking at later in this draft as well.
20:37So we got our first running back. We're moving along.
20:41I think Judkins is the touchdown play, right? Goal line guy.
20:44Hopefully, the Browns can move the ball a little bit and they fall down inside the five a bunch.
20:50And he finishes with eight to ten touchdowns. The perfect lunch combo.
20:54That first bite of your favorite sub followed by ice cold Pepsi.
20:58Add a couple of friends and now that's next level.
21:02Suddenly, the laughs get louder, the stories keep flowing, and the food tastes better.
21:06Because Pepsi brings out more flavor, more fun, and more of the moment.
21:11Food deserves Pepsi. Grab a Pepsi Zero Sugar today.
21:14Dude. Jonathan Brooks, the next pick after Quinn Chimes, Judkins in round five.
21:18That's great. Chuba is going to miss some time now.
21:21So I feel like Brooks is going to continue to shoot up boards.
21:26But that's definitely the earliest I've seen him go.
21:28Is he going to be a first round pick by the time this draft?
21:33The last thing really coming around. I'm like, this is crazy.
21:37Any chance we see Warren go after Loveland by end of August?
21:41I think you mean like right after. I could see fourth round Warren.
21:45I'm not there yet. I'm not there yet. I personally just am not a big fan of Warren.
21:51I don't think he's the type of route runner or separator or even kind of hands catcher.
21:57He's just not the receiver that Colston Loveland is.
22:00That's just my opinion. I get it that you've got Alec Pierce battling injury, Josh Downs.
22:05It's kind of like a depleted receiving corpse. But I'm not super high on the talent of Warren.
22:11That's just me. Again, that's a guy who I've been outward about that as well.
22:16So no disrespect to Corey in the house. Thanks for your comments.
22:20And guys, please ask questions. Light up the chat.
22:23We're going to be getting to as many of the questions you have around anything.
22:28Best ball, redraft, dynasty. So this is actually total points.
22:31I think that's really important to call out. In best ball, a lot of times we're stacking for those playoff weeks, 15, 16, 17.
22:39I was talking with Blake, just making sure he knew before the show, we do not need to really be all in
22:46on who the Week 17 matchup is to win this.
22:50We need to score the most points throughout the year.
22:53So a little bit less of a correlation on those playoff weeks that maybe you are considering if you're playing on a format like Draft Kings or Underdog.
23:02So I will give a quick shout out to Fast Draft.
23:06Fast Draft is another awesome best ball tournament that is total points.
23:10And so I've been playing a lot of Fast Draft this year.
23:14And it's been a lot of fun having a different flavor from Underdog and Draft Kings where you're not all in on
23:21those Week 15, 16, and 17 matchups. I actually think it's a bit funny when I look on X of people like
23:28their whole brain gets fixed around who the team's playoff schedules are.
23:32Like, for instance, the Dolphins have a really weak secondary is what we're hearing.
23:37So I think they play like the Packers, the Bills, and one other team that's escaping me off the top of my head in the playoffs.
23:45So if you're doing that and the playoffs are important to you, then those are the types of teams maybe you're looking at who are playing weak secondaries.
23:55But Jadarian Price going off the board after Tyler Warren.
23:58We got Joe Burrow. So on the board in front of me at ADP, we've got Carnell Tate, Lamar Jackson, Marvin Harrison, Drake May, and Brian Thomas Jr.
24:07There goes Drake May. So our stack is thrown out the window.
24:11Cool with it. Not the end of the world.
24:14Not going to reach. And we are up. We're on the board.
24:18And actually, I'm really excited about this. I think a guy kind of fell to me that I think is enticing in this format.
24:26Again, three wide receivers. You want to take those shots on good players.
24:30And I'm going to go on a bit of a tangent here.
24:34Drafting Brian Thomas Jr., I like in PPR, non-best ball formats, almost most formats, I obviously would prefer Parker Washington.
24:41But I heard, shout out to Jeff Bell from Football Guys.
24:45He's one of the top wide receiver rankers. And at cost, he was very adamant.
24:50I'd rather have Brian Thomas Jr. And his point was, when you look at what the most ideal version of their offense could be, it's Brian Thomas Jr.
24:59being a field stretcher, playing that true X and getting the ball and winning downfield.
25:04Again, I think he's got the potential for some splash weeks.
25:07It seems like they learned their lesson that he's not going to be that guy to run inside crossers over the middle of the field.
25:16I think they use him a bit differently this year.
25:19And I think he's a value there. So I'm happy we got him.
25:23And again, I'm not mad that we missed on Drake May because the beauty is we've still got potential stacks in our back pocket, right?
25:32With Ladd McConkie and Herber and Caleb Williams and with Colston Loveland.
25:36I actually think that's one of the stacks that I'm most high on is Caleb Williams and Colston Loveland because I really
25:43just see that offense taking another step. There was some commentary from Ben Johnson about we want to be record-breaking offense this year.
25:50We want to break records. And I think they have the firepower to do it.
25:55Caleb Williams just has to take that next step.
25:58But he had a really good year last year, all things considered.
26:02Streaming a 30-round draft is rough. Good luck, fellas.
26:05I kind of agree with you, but these guys are moving.
26:09I think I'm taking the longest to make my picks because I'm talking through each one of them with you guys.
26:16But we're moving. We're making good progress, aren't we, Blake?
26:19Yeah, we're doing good. Godwin going pretty early, dude.
26:22Godwin going pretty damn early. That's early for Godwin.
26:25Just real quick, Brian Thomas, a full round later than Parker Washington.
26:29That's good value. Yeah, I'm taking it. And I think I even sent you kind of my targets before the show.
26:36We lost Caleb Williams there. That's okay. I told you before the show, I'm like, hey, Parker Washington or BTJ, right?
26:43I want a slice of that offense. That's going to be a good offense.
26:48But I told you, I think I'd prefer BTJ at cost.
26:51Especially, again, best ball. If you get seven or eight or nine really good wide receivers, you're really going for those guys
26:59who are going to have those splash weeks, those long touchdowns.
27:02I think that Parker Washington has a very high floor.
27:05It doesn't have quite the ceiling that Brian Thomas Jr.
27:09could offer if he gets back to what he was doing in his rookie year.
27:14I love people talking about, oh, it wasn't him with Trevor Lawrence when he had all his success.
27:20It was Mac Jones. I totally agree with that.
27:23They got to make it work, man. You don't just draft a guy in the first round and then just throw him
27:30away because you've had one down season with him, right?
27:33Especially not after a 1,200-yard rookie season. Yeah, yeah.
27:36Yeah, and all the reports from camp is that they're building chemistry every day.
27:41It's like this is year three in this offense for Thomas.
27:45So with Trevor, I mean, different play color than his first year.
27:48But yeah, I think this is the year where he either makes or breaks it.
27:53And I would bet money that he finishes closer to his rookie season than he does to his sophomore season.
28:00Yeah, and I don't know about you, man. It's kind of hard to really pick a spot that you like.
28:07But I never hate drafting from the sixth spot just because you're never waiting 20 picks to make a draft and having
28:14to stare a mile down the board at who you might potentially draft next, right?
28:19So we're going to be up on the board in a few picks here.
28:24Johnny, let me ask you, what do you think about Team 1 going sort of bully tight end here with the 2-2-2?
28:31I don't know, man. Again, I'm not a big Warren guy, and I do like Trey McBride.
28:36I've been battling our CEO, Matt Kelly, player profiler, the podfather, the legend.
28:41He just thinks that, I don't know. He thinks Brenton Strange is going to outscore Trey McBride this year.
28:47He's so low on him. I'm not there, but I think those guys, like McBride is due to regress, certainly.
28:54And Warren, I'm just not sold on. So I think it's, I'm just not in love with it if I'm being dead honest with you.
29:02And I think that's interesting that that guy just took Trevor Lawrence there.
29:06There's no stack in play. Yeah, he just goes naked Lawrence.
29:10That's crazy. And then this guy goes Daniels and Hurts.
29:13I think that's also interesting. Yeah, I don't mind the double tap.
29:17I don't mind it. But again, I just think these guys are going to end up having to fish in the barrel
29:24at wide receiver a little bit later in the draft.
29:28Yeah, I mean, that guy only has two receivers, team nine.
29:31So yeah, it's interesting to double tap in that situation in a three wide receiver.
29:36Do we still have stacks, right? Or do we not?
29:40Do we lose them all? Yes, we have a stack.
29:43Don't ruin this for me, Blake. Let this guy make his pick.
29:47Sorry, I got excited. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.
29:50Okay, dude, this is beautiful. Honestly, I think this is like, I'm getting more excited by the second.
29:56We just watched a huge QB run of people reaching over Justin Herbert, left and right.
30:01All these guys, Stafford, Prescott, their ADPs are after Herbert.
30:05So we're going to take Herbert here because we've got Sutton in front of him at ADP, Tyson, who just got an
30:12injury, Quinton Johnson, woof, Alec Pierce, woof, Tony Pollard, woof, Chuba Hubbard, woof.
30:16And then you've got Justin Herbert. So a bit of a no brainer for me here.
30:22We're going to take the guy. We're going to draft him.
30:25I will say maybe QJ, just to round out the stack.
30:29You're going to get some boom weeks from QJ.
30:32For sure. But he's the type of guy, I'll take it a discount.
30:36Yeah, exactly. I could so see him just coming all the way back around.
30:41For sure. But when I set my rankings, Blake, I'm not going to lie to you.
30:46His ADPs are in the 70s, and I just put him at 100.
30:50This is where I have him. Seems like a good place for him, just right there at 100.
30:56Yeah, and honestly, when I sent you my list of guys I'm targeting, I'm targeting Trey Harris, right?
31:02I really like Trey Harris. I think he's a player I was more excited about coming out than Quinton Johnston.
31:09I think you know this because we talk so much ball together.
31:13I've kind of always been outward about my fade of Quinton Johnston.
31:17Yeah, we faded him coming out of college. I think we were both in agreement.
31:22The sort of T-Rex arms struggles catch. He should be a contested catch monster, right, with that size.
31:28But his profile was more of a catch and run guy, a rack kind of guy.
31:33And that's where he made his living in college.
31:36And we saw it for a big part of the early part of his career.
31:41He just went off the board. I don't really hate the price, though, just for the record.
31:47But yeah, we saw drops in his career. I think we were sort of proven right early on.
31:53And now, you know, now I think we sort of know what kind of player he is with a good offensive line.
32:00If Herbert has time, like he's going to have boom weeks.
32:03But I don't think he's a I don't think he's a must have even in best ball.
32:09Yeah. And again, I think it's just you got to look at the players that are going around him.
32:15There's some there's some solid guys that I had on my list of targets that I think are going to come back around to us.
32:24Um, and this is but I said going through it.
32:27I'm really liking the team so far because you can't look at any of those players besides Judkins and say that they're
32:34not on a really solid offense that are going to score a lot of points.
32:39So, um, nice. And we've we've touched all our bases, right?
32:43We've got a quarterback. We've got a running back.
32:46We've got a tight end. We've got four solid wide receivers.
32:49So I don't hate how this is stacking out for us.
32:53I will say these drafts against these types of, uh, you know, high stakes drafters.
32:58They are always tough because, you know, you love Parker Washington, but then he goes in round four, right?
33:04Like it's just you're just they're gonna they're gonna pick their guys.
33:08They're gonna listen to the the beat reporters and have their ears to the ground.
33:13And so, um, it's just interesting. You see, you know, a lot of the times you have these my guys that you
33:21target and they just end up going. Kenneth Gainwell.
33:24That is interesting, man. Some of these picks are so interesting too.
33:27So. Well, that's interesting. Like, I don't know about that.
33:31I don't know if I love that approach. Well, yeah, I feel like you want to diversify there.
33:37But I also think they both could be there's talk that they're both on the field in some sets.
33:43You know, they're always saying that about offenses in camp trying to get both running backs out there at the same time.
33:50Um, but yeah, I mean, I like Kenny G.
33:53I think he's gonna catch, you know, a fair amount of passes this year.
33:58But I think 100% golf. I don't want to call it early.
34:02Yeah, because I actually had him on my targets list again when six point passing touchdown.
34:07Yeah, discount the rushing ability. It doesn't mean as much.
34:10Um, so he was a guy that I really liked as well.
34:14And now we are back on the board. One of my guys came back around.
34:19This is a guy who I am adamant about.
34:22And everybody says he's one of the worst clicks on the board.
34:26RJ Harvey, baby. Um, not a great between the tackles runner.
34:30Not going to argue with anybody on that. But he's like basically playing the Alvin Kamara role in a Sean Payton offense.
34:37And I'm getting him in like, you know, pick 90 or whatever rat now.
34:42I'm taking it every time. So happy with that.
34:45We've got our two running backs. Um, and I think he's a guy who could, it's full, full point PPR.
34:51So you want to target those pass catching running backs.
34:55Would have loved to get Mike, Michael Wilson really like Michael Wilson.
34:59Yeah. Um, but again, I, I did want to go with who I think is just kind of a guy that I
35:06want to plant my flag on a little more with RJ Harvey.
35:10Yeah. And we need a running back there. Johnny, what, uh, what other running backs are, uh, we on the board, we still have Hubbard.
35:18He's falling, but now you start. And that's the thing.
35:22There was a bit of a cliff after Harvey to me.
35:25You can, then you start getting into Blake Corum, Rico Dowdle.
35:29I like Kyle Monunga. Dobbins. Rashad White. Rashad White's going to be a bit further down the board.
35:35He's at 97. I think that's a, I think that's a bit high for me.
35:40I actually, I think I told you on my, my list of targets, I'm going with your Corey cross game.
35:46I'm getting white more and more. I have too much exposure to him already.
35:51Uh, and the talk from camp is that it sounds like JCM is they're trying to get him to be the guy there.
35:59Um, but I would have maybe challenged Corum over Harvey.
36:02I know the upside of, you know, Dobbins goes down Harvey.
36:06Um, you know, his workload can really only go up unless, uh, you know, unless he gets injured.
36:12But, um, yeah, I just don't see it with Harvey.
36:15I'm not a huge fan. If anything like Coleman later as the handcuff for, uh, Dobbins makes more sense to me, but
36:22I think the upside, there's enough upside there. Dude, I, it's so funny cause we're both Broncos fans.
36:28Like we've seen the film, we've watched the games.
36:31Uh, and I just seem to be the only guy who thinks that, you know, it's the second round running back entering
36:38his second year in the NFL who is kind of playing that pass catching role for, you know, everybody talks about, Oh,
36:46Bo Nix likes to, you know, he's a dump off merchant, which is totally not even true.
36:51Right. He's more of a first read guy, not necessarily like a dump off merchant, my opinion.
36:57No, I, I agree with you, but I guess my point is that's good in an offense where, uh, Sean Payton likes
37:04to design some plays where the first read is the running back, whether it's screen passes or quick swing passes.
37:11He really got a lot of that work. And I think people discount how solid of a year he put together.
37:18He's like RB 20 or something. And I think we're getting them at like RB 20 or 30 at this point.
37:25So I just, I don't see him being much worse than he was the last year.
37:30If not, I see him taking a step forward.
37:33Again, I'm not arguing his ability to rush in between the tackles and some of the reports that he's not, you know, your best early down grinder.
37:42Um, but I do think it's a good offense.
37:45What percentage of snaps do you think he sees week one?
37:48Probably 40, 40. I'm not going to argue with you on that.
37:52I think, but again, it's like, you look at some of those Alvin Kamara seasons where it was like, he was playing
38:0040 or 50% of the snaps, but he's getting six or seven catches a game like, and you know, doing something with them.
38:07I think Harvey, that was one thing he showed me on film a lot was the ability to catch, make people miss,
38:15uh, turn it, crank out extra yards when he wasn't depended on to be a between the tackles rusher.
38:21So, uh, Jordan Tyson fell a good bit, probably rightly.
38:24So he's basically completely off my board at this point, just with the continuous injuries, uh, to the same area.
38:31It's the hamstring. It's been the hamstring for like a year.
38:34Career. Yeah. Pretty much. RJ Harvey, 13 tutties. Easy.
38:37Easy. I don't know about easy, but I love, I love where your head's at.
38:42I love the enthusiasm. We would love that for this team.
38:46That would, that would probably get us in the money for sure.
38:50Um, so Rashad white goes, are we thinking similar, similarly right now?
38:54What are you thinking? Um, well, are you, would you like to take another running back here?
39:00Do you want to take a swing? Um, upside receiver.
39:03Where, where's your head at? I'm looking at who I told you were my early targets.
39:08There's a couple of guys that I think are interesting here.
39:12Um, let me see if I might have to, yeah, this guy's down the board, but I think he's going to get reached on.
39:20So we'll wait till we're on the clock just to minimize any sniping.
39:24Um, but we're going to be up with this next pick.
39:28It's coming before you know it. So on the board, we have Alec Pierce, Chuba Hubbard, still falling.
39:34Rico Dowdle, Kyle Monungai, Jacoby Myers, JK Dobbins. Those are the next couple in order for us on the board here.
39:41Do you hate Dowdle? Is that too gross for you?
39:44I'm, I don't want to give anything away, brother.
39:47Yeah. I think it's gross, dude. Totally gross. Couldn't be me, bro.
39:51Wait, really? No, I'm just kidding, bro. Come on, Anderson.
39:54Make your pick. All right. Good. Okay. Diggs. That was actually the other guy I said.
39:59That was, I don't want to say I got sniped because I agree with you.
40:04I think I'm going to lean Dowdle here. Yeah.
40:07I like that. But Diggs was a guy. His ADP was 127.
40:11I knew we were going to see him go earlier than that.
40:15I was maybe going to try and push it another round, but not surprised at all.
40:21He goes right here. It's a good spot. I wouldn't argue he's not better than Terry McLaurin.
40:26And that's a hot take, but that's what I...
40:29Interesting. So we've got Alec Pierce, Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Kyle Monunga, Jacoby Myers, J.K.
40:34Dobbins. We're going to go Dowdle here. Yeah. Let me just get a third running back.
40:39Yeah. We're looking good, man. We've got some solid running backs and solid wide receivers.
40:44But now it's really important that we start kind of filling out that wide receiver room a little more.
40:51Give me names. He's on the... He's on the...
40:54Wide receiver. We've got Alec Pierce, Jacoby Myers, Addison, Worthy, Total Fade, Jaden Higgins.
40:58Yes. So Higgins to me... But I don't know if he'll fall.
41:02I don't know. I guess the offense might not be as prolific as you want, but I do think Higgins is going to have a...
41:10Have a decent chance to return value here in the, what, 10th round if we get him?
41:16Yeah, I know, man. It's kind of tough for me, too, because I feel like Jordan Addison's not a terrible pick either.
41:23Right? Is it Jordan Addison? Yeah. But I also just am probably the biggest Kyler hater, so...
41:29Dude, we're starting to see quarterbacks run, which you got to be careful of, right?
41:34You don't want to get totally left out. Because look, really, it is Jordan Love, Malik Willis, Sam Darnold, Cam Ward.
41:41You start getting into the gross zone pretty quickly here.
41:44Sure. I mean, Darnold, I feel like, isn't terrible if that's what we're left with, considering we have JSN.
41:51Yeah, exactly. I don't think it's a spot where you need to reach, right?
41:55Six-point passing as well? Yeah, six-point passing touchdown, yeah.
41:58So, yeah, I wouldn't mind smashing some Sammy D there.
42:01Pause. But, yeah, Sammy D, some of those receivers you were talking about, I think we...
42:07Oh, dang. Our face is not on the board.
42:10Shout-out, Pete Terranova. I can't see your face. Thank you, guys.
42:13Thank you for joining the chat. Coach, Jair. There we go.
42:17I'm back, baby. We're back. We're here. You've been listening to us.
42:21You ain't been seeing us. We're here. Thank you, guys, for joining and ask us any questions in the chat, guys.
42:28Chuba Hubbard finally goes off the board. I think he had to go at a certain point, right?
42:34Yeah, I mean, you got to take him. What was the report?
42:38Two weeks? Two to three weeks? Yeah, I think people are so quick to overreact to the injuries and stuff, but...
42:45Ask Chad if they regret making us put our faces back on.
42:49Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha. I know they probably do in your case.
42:52Oh, oh. No, you're beautiful, baby. Dude, Blake and I were at the NFL Combine this year.
42:57Imagine that, dude. Two guys who grew up together as best friends getting to go as media members to the NFL Combine.
43:05We harassed Emmett Johnson a little bit. We asked him about being undersized.
43:09We got clapped at a little bit. But, dude, did we have some fun in Indy or what?
43:15We were cutting it up, dude. Dude, those three days on the field, you know, in the rooms, man.
43:21I wouldn't trade that for the world. That's way better than, like, being at the draft or something like that.
43:28I think just the atmosphere in Indy itself, just in the downtown sections, like at night and stuff.
43:34People were out. People were, you know, celebrating. It really is the best time of the year, in my opinion, is Combine into the draft.
43:42And then, you know, obviously, like, the season's pretty fun, too.
43:46But, yeah, I'm a big sucker for the draft and getting to see those college guys come out and getting a first
43:53look at how they're going to look in NFL situations.
43:56So, yeah, it was a lot of fun, man.
43:59A lot of fun. All right. So, we are going to be – we are up on the board.
44:05Yeah. We've got J.K. Dobbins, Jordan Addison, Ja'Cory Krosky, Merritt.
44:09Do you want to just slam Donald here? No, absolutely not.
44:12I think I'm going to go with Ja'Cory, dude.
44:15Yeah, like – I got to. I just can't trust Dobbins to stay healthy.
44:20We already have Harvey, too. Yeah, exactly. I do like – like I said, I don't hate Addison.
44:26I think, you know, he could offer you some boom weeks, right?
44:30He's been a guy who just – that's kind of his thing.
44:34He can break loose down the field for those big plays.
44:38But we're going to pass on him. We took Ja'Cory Krosky, Merritt.
44:41I think the fade of Ja'Cory Krosky, Merritt is actually kind of hilarious.
44:46Like, seventh-round rookie who rushed for, like, 800 yards, looked good on film, looks like an instinctive runner.
44:52And, again, we're hearing all this positive praise that, yeah, Rashad White could be kind of the PPR scam guy, right?
44:59But, oh, there goes Darnold. There goes Darnold. No, but, dude, all the news from camp is that, you know, they're trying
45:06to – I think they're really going to look to give JCM – trying to get Bill, like, you know, 12, 15
45:13carries a game to start the season. And, you know, if he looks good, maybe he gets more.
45:19If he gets that goal line work, I think we're real happy to get him there in the 10th.
45:25In retrospect, though, I would have – I think we should have gone Darnold, but – Dude, Darnold's just so gross to me, bro.
45:33He's a little gross. And six-point passing, though, it's better.
45:37It's better. And you're going to get those boom weeks when they play the Rams.
45:42He's going to throw for, like, five touchdowns. You know, they play them twice a year.
45:47I mean, I know the Rams defense is, you know, supposed to be this juggernaut, but those primetime games and division games always end up being high scoring.
45:56So I feel like there's enough spots throughout the year where Darnold's going to maybe even outperform Herbert.
46:02But, yeah, I can't lie. It does seem a little gross.
46:06Yeah, and I think kind of where I'm at is when you draft a guy like Herbert and you think he's got
46:13top three upside at quarterback, like I just don't think you need to reach too much.
46:18Like, I think he ends up being the quarterback that hits your lineup 80% of weeks.
46:24You know, the Chiefs defense is kind of down, right?
46:27He's going to play them twice. He's going to play the Raiders defense twice.
46:32He's going to play the Broncos twice as well, right?
46:35That's a tough defense. But I was also like – He usually tortures us there, doesn't he?
46:41Exactly. Like, those interdivisional games he usually does pretty well.
46:44And that's another thing I think about is like that's a third-year lineup – or that's a third-year schedule, right?
46:50And so I always do think about that. To your point, kind of the same thing to say about Sam Darnold, right?
46:58You know he's going to have some shootout games with the Rams and the 49ers.
47:03So I just wasn't willing to reach on him, dude.
47:06It seems like these guys are really taking – like that guy's already got three quarterbacks, right?
47:12Yeah. I didn't expect him to go there. I'll say that.
47:15Yeah. Are you high on – What's your take with the Packers?
47:19Meh. You know, I don't know. I think they're a little bit overrated.
47:24And that's just from some buddies that I talk closely to, just talking about how competitive their schedule is.
47:30Sorry, what are you saying? People are high on Christian Watson.
47:33I think a little too high just with the injury history and everything.
47:38And that – Yeah, we'll see. It's hard for me to pick one wide receiver in that room, right?
47:44Like Reed is good but can't stay healthy. Watson is good but, you know, he's good per route efficiency.
47:50But again, struggled to stay healthy and struggled to even put together – I don't think he's ever had a thousand-yard season in the college or NFL.
47:59Really? Right. And then Matthew Golden is kind of a joke.
48:03Yeah, I don't – I just – Golden might get enough volume though is the thing.
48:08Yeah, yeah. But I don't think he's very good.
48:11So Debo goes off the board. We got Malik Willis off the board.
48:15Dude, Alec Pierce is an absolute free fall right now.
48:19Dude, well, so I wasn't going to say anything.
48:22I've been sort of tracking that. This has happened in a couple mocks that I've done and also seen where he just
48:29– this is the cheapest you're going to be able to get him.
48:33You know, there's all the talk about the injection in the ankle.
48:37Is this the second injection he got? Then it was like, no, he didn't get an injection after the surgery and this is the first one.
48:46But if a news comes out in a week saying like he's going to miss the first two weeks and he's like
48:5390% sure he's going to be back for week three, are you not just smashing that right here?
48:59I think we got to get ready to smash.
49:02Knowing our luck, he doesn't make it. We got one more pick.
49:06And there he – Keaton Mitchell ahead of Alec Pierce.
49:09We got to take it. We got to take it.
49:13Again, he's shown an ability to work deep areas of the field.
49:17He's a deep ball guy. He's a boom guy.
49:20We've got four other solid wide receivers. So just a real upside play here.
49:24I don't think I've drafted a single share of Alec Pierce all offseason.
49:29But again, to your point, when you start seeing guys like Keaton Mitchell go ahead of him, you just got to take a chance here.
49:37So we're going to do it, dude. We're going to catch the falling knife.
49:41We're going to take Alec Pierce, dude. In the 11th, halfway through the 11th.
49:46I think that's honestly our best pick so far, to be honest with you.
49:51We are going to run a quick promo. But, dude, do you really guys – do you guys want to miss this?
49:58Like, we'll be right back. The NFFC, my favorite high-stakes fantasy platform.
50:02Why? Third-round reversal. Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation. So it's a lottery-based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft.
50:10It's full PPR. There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
50:16And now they've combined with the FFWC, they have a lot more contests to offer.
50:21In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC primetime.
50:26And if you win that, $300,000. You can also join the Circle World Championship, and that's $200,000.
50:32You win both. You win a million dollars. So go to playNFFC.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes you can use.
50:41First time 100 to get $100 when you sign up.
50:44But also, every time you sign up for a new contest, we give you codes to use to get discounts on those entry fees as well.
50:53Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
50:57Dude, I'm just saying we're just going to have to take a stand here because we're getting stuck out in the rain with quarterback.
51:05It's now it's Jacoby Brissett, Fernando Mendoza, Aaron Rodgers, Geno Smith.
51:09There goes Kobe Brisket. There goes Kobe Beef. I don't even know if he starts week one at this point.
51:15That's my point. I still don't feel the need to reach on quarterback.
51:20I think we got to at this point. I do – if I regret one thing, it's not pushing for Darnold harder.
51:27But, you know, if JCM comes out and is a solid RB2, then can't complain.
51:32Yeah, I mean, who do you like, bro? Who do you like?
51:36Daniel Jones, Lizgon. Dude, I'll be honest with you.
51:39I'm still not looking at quarterback. Really? Stroud? Is Stroud gone?
51:42They're all gone, dude. There's Geno, Tua, Michael Penix, Kirk Cousins.
51:46Shadour. Shadour could be interesting. Shadour's interesting. We're going to figure it out.
51:50We're on the clock. My cue has Travis Kelsey and Jalen Coker.
51:54Coker. Big Coker. I know, but I think I'm with you, dude.
51:58I think I got to go Coker over Kelsey.
52:01Just because I like Kelsey, I've been very outward about that.
52:05But I'm also a huge Coker. If you actually look me up on X, my background is Jalen Coker as Tony Montana with a pile full of Coke.
52:14So we're going to go with Coker here, man.
52:17I got to plant my flags. Yeah, I don't think you could go wrong with Kelsey there, though, either.
52:24Yeah, yeah. A hundred percent, man. I've been very outward about that.
52:27But I think the one thing is I just still don't want to be stuck pulling from the bottom of the pile at wide receiver.
52:36And I do feel like there are several, several solid tight ends that are still available in the later rounds.
52:42Goddard. Brenton Strange is not terrible. Juwan Johnson. And again, we've got Colston Loveland as sort of that anchor tight end.
52:49So that's kind of how I feel about the quarterback situation, too.
52:53We've got that anchor quarterback. We've got that anchor tight end.
52:57And then we've got four running backs, six wide receivers.
53:00Someone I would have mentioned. I thought he was already.
53:04Yeah. And I agree with you. Early reports are that like Stowers is tight end three on the depth chart.
53:10So I think especially early in the season, he's going to provide you some value.
53:15But again, when you're planting your flags and you're like, hey, I think Colston Loveland is going to be a top two, top three tight end this year.
53:24Then you just got to you got to believe that.
53:28Right. And believe that he's going to be the one hitting your lineup more weeks than not.
53:33Yeah, I'm much more comfortable with the Loveland pick fading tight end until later than I am with Herbert as our only QB.
53:41I mean, I like Herbert a lot. And I know the top five upsides there.
53:46That line's got to stay healthy. I still think they don't have a ton of depth.
53:51Their guards are still, you know, question marks. One of them, at least.
53:55So unless we get totally sniped at quarterback again, which I just think if they're doing that at a certain point, they're
54:03making a mistake by, you know, everybody drafting like a fourth quarterback at this point in a single quarterback league.
54:09Again, if you look at the. I'm looking. OK, this guy up.
54:13He only has two quarterbacks, but then the other guys, three quarterbacks, two quarterbacks, two quarterbacks.
54:19So it's very likely that there could be another quarterback that goes maybe one or two.
54:24We could get sniped here. But I think point being, when we look at the ADP now, you've got Aaron Jones, Woody Marks, Chris Rodriguez, Jonah Coleman.
54:33Yeah. What's your thought about going Jonah after going Harvey?
54:36I'm not against it. I think more than going Harvey and then, you know, taking Dobbins, which I don't think makes any sense.
54:44But getting the hand, because I don't think Harvey's the handcuff for for Dobbins.
54:48Harvey's just going to. He has standalone value. Right.
54:51Value. And right. Coleman, you know, from what I've heard, you know, Peyton likes him a lot.
54:57He's looked good in camp. People are saying he doesn't.
55:00He seems like a like a vet already, like just his presence in there.
55:05I think, you know, Peyton has been shy about going to rookies in the past.
55:10But I think this this just seems a little different with Coleman.
55:14I could see him being a sneaky little best ball play.
55:17We'll see if he falls. But yeah. Talk to us a little bit about what you saw from Coleman at the combine.
55:25I mean, he was one of the you know, in this running back class, you you're looking for for pretty much anybody to establish themselves behind love.
55:34And he was definitely pre combine just looking at film, imagining what type of play is going to be in the NFL.
55:41He was definitely higher up on my board, I think, maybe than than the NFL boards.
55:46But he was. Yeah, I think he was maybe my RB five post post combine.
55:51Yeah, but I guess I just mean we got to he didn't participate in the drills.
55:56Right. So I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about what he did.
56:01I thought there were guys to me and you that I think stuck out in the interviews.
56:06Right. And they just like a dog. Dude, dog.
56:09And he was talking about like, I think he watched his dad get shot.
56:14And he talked about that. I talked about, you know, needing to know how to be a past protector in order to see work in the NFL.
56:23Like his answers were just phenomenal. Punnel grounded like a level level headed guy.
56:28He's got a good head on his shoulders. Thoughtful person.
56:31It seems like he's gonna be smart football player, if nothing else.
56:35And there he goes. And that's OK. That's OK, because.
56:38Let's see who we are up next. OK, and I think we're going to I think we might land this plane, dude.
56:45I don't want to. Yeah, I don't want to shout it out too early, but we might land the plane.
56:52It's always so hard because like there's always a moment of silence.
56:56OK, Brenton Strange. I think I'm OK going Aaron Rodgers here, brother.
57:00Yeah. OK, for sure. That's what I was thinking.
57:03Yeah. Touchdown upside. You know, hopefully. It's a different offense.
57:06It's not freaking Arthur Smith running it anymore. Right.
57:09That's so important. He's back with Mike McCarthy. He's got weapons.
57:13Obviously, he's old as dust, but this is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
57:18We look at two Michael Penix, her cousin, Shadour.
57:21I'm getting flamed in the chat for not getting another quarterback.
57:25We're going to take the quarterback. Right. Again, it's like him or Woody Marks or, you know, the Dallas Cowboys defense.
57:32Like, I think I'm ready. This is where I'm happy that we kind of passed on quarterback a little bit.
57:38They don't have overlapping bye weeks. That's another thing just to keep in mind is if you draft two or three quarterbacks
57:46and they all have overlapping bye weeks, you kind of shoot yourself in the foot, especially in a total points format.
57:53We were talking about you asking me like, hey, what do you think of this guy's team?
57:58You sent me a roster the other day and his whole roster was built off of like the Jags and the Chargers.
58:05And I was like, hey, it's cool and all.
58:08But like week seven, this guy might literally put up a donut.
58:12You know what I mean? For sure. And if it's total points, yeah.
58:17He had some like James Cook in there as well and some other stuff, but it was like 80% Chargers.
58:23Dude, I think James Cook has a week seven bye week.
58:27Do you have a week seven bye? Yeah, dude.
58:30That's what I was saying when you sent me that.
58:33My eyes immediately went to the bye weeks and I was just like, this dude has all of week seven.
58:40He's just taking off. That's rough. That's rough. But he might just smash, you know, the other 16 weeks.
58:46Right. You don't always need it. Right. But I also think there's that's man.
58:51If you need to put up 120 points a week on average and you have a week where you put up 50 points, it's tough, man.
58:59That's tough. I thought he just went Cowboys D.
59:02I was about to. That is that is actually the Cowboys kicker.
59:06Yes. That's Brandon Aubrey. Yeah, Aubrey makes sense. It's actually so the way this format is, is even if Aubrey goes down,
59:14it's just the next that's the next kicker. Team kicker.
59:17Yeah, it's a team kicker. But this is a format where it's 0.1 points for every field for every yard over 30.
59:24So 60 yard, 63 yard field goal is 6.3 points.
59:27Like there's definitely value in getting those big leg kickers.
59:31Dude, I got I'm kind of the kicker guru, though.
59:34I'm not going to like tout too much, but like go for kickers who play in domes.
59:40Yeah, man. I don't want to give it away on the chat because I think I think there's going to be some
59:47I think there are some listeners who are in this room and might be trying to snipe me.
59:53But I guess my point is, I think we're not thinking kicker here, though.
59:58No, no, not not. That's my point. I think there's kickers.
60:01You can you can kick the can on kickers and in general go for ones that are playing in domes, playing on offense with high scoring.
60:10I actually think it's a bit interesting that the Texans went over the Rams defense, right?
60:15They added McDuffie. They added Garrett. It sounds like it's all but etched in stone that Aaron Donald's going to be back there.
60:23I do think that's the best defense. We are back on the board.
60:27And when goes, I was going to I'm sure you were thinking that.
60:31Do you want to take a flag plan on a rookie receiver here?
60:36I don't really see any that are jumping out to me, dude.
60:40I will. You know, it's Omar Cooper, Jr. I got my guy.
60:44I know who I'm going with here. We got on the board just so you guys know it's a Rondae Gadsden.
60:51I'm totally fading him just at this point, just based on like the Charlie Kohler and the Joku.
60:56I like Gadsden by just it's no need right to take him right here, especially like I said, there's still some value
61:04on tight end left on the board. Dylan Samson.
61:07Nah, I've already got Judkins. Charbonnet going to miss a large portion of the year.
61:12Checo banged up. So we are going to go with the guy I talked about earlier, Trey Harris.
61:18Okay. Okay. I don't hate it. I don't hate it.
61:21I mean, I don't hate it. We have Herbert.
61:24So got a nice little we call that a double stack, brother.
61:28Yeah, the double stack. I'd almost rather have like, I don't know, might be crazy for saying this.
61:34It's too early to take him. I'll wait. I'll wait to say it.
61:38I don't hate Trey Harris. I thought it was a good pick when they took him for like real football to round out their receiving room.
61:47You know, thinking that Keenan Allen's going to be gone and he is.
61:51They have Brennan Thompson now too. I think it's worth mentioning.
61:55McDaniel. That's McDaniel's pick. So like, and I know he loves his speedy wide receivers.
62:00So we'll see like how it shakes out in terms of who's getting on the field for three wide receiver sets.
62:07I think it has to be Harris to start the season though.
62:11Yeah. Yeah. And again, I just don't, I think there's a scenario where he outplays Quinton Johnston.
62:16I think he's the better player. That's hot, maybe a hot take, but I just don't think there's a lot.
62:23Again, he didn't do much his rookie year, so I get it.
62:27But it's just, sometimes you just have to continue to bet on the profiles and not just abandon ship after one year.
62:34This was one of those guys that I saw coming out and was just like, man.
62:39What are your specific advanced metrics that you point to?
62:43What do you like about him? Oh my God.
62:46His yards per route run was just absolutely insane, man.
62:49In college. In college, right? There wasn't a lot to go off of the rookie year.
62:54I'm not going to argue that. But again, I think, you know, me and Matt, the podfather had a really contentious last episode of Dynasty Deep Dive.
63:03And we're talking about, you know, play callers having an impact on the production of players.
63:08I do think McDaniel coming in is just a shot in the arm to that entire offense in terms of, you know,
63:16they're going to be a more aerial attack, I guess, is the best way to put it.
63:21And I think he's going to be taking a fresh look at who his best players are.
63:27So, and again, Trey Harris, another guy, the reports coming out are that he has taken that next step in early off season.
63:35And so someone that I'm excited about. I'm a bit behind on that.
63:39And I'll have to look up some of those beat reports.
63:42We're starting to see tight ends. Yeah, I was going to say, what tight ends are you left?
63:48We've got Sadiq, I'm out. Hawk, I'm out. Schultz, I'm out.
63:52Barner, I'm out. No, I'm not out on Barner.
63:55I'm not fully out on Barner. But I'm not taking any of those guys, I don't think, here.
64:01You're out on Sadiq? I'm kind of out on Sadiq, man.
64:05What's he dealing with? Is it a hammy? Or no, it's like a hernia.
64:09Yeah, a hernia. Man, when he's on the field, though.
64:13That's what I just listen. I've been listening to the Oregon Duck truthers out there.
64:18And they're saying the same thing, all of them.
64:21That he's the best player out there when he's on the field.
64:24It's just sometimes he's not on the field. But do you remember, again, shout out to the Combine, when we were asking
64:32him about not as like, you're going to be the first first round offensive skill player.
64:37That was my favorite answer. Drafted since Benjamin Watson to have less than 1,000 career yards.
64:42What do you have to say about that? Or something like that.
64:46And he's like, I'm going to help out on special teams.
64:50Not a great answer. But you know, dude, I only put so much stock into those.
64:55I know, I know. I'm kind of clowning. But again, I think that's my red flag with him.
65:01It's just the production never blew me away. And honestly, the film's pretty solid.
65:06But again, we just talked about the Jets, right?
65:09There's a lot of different targets there. Who's the Mason Taylor?
65:12Wasn't he? I mean, they seem to every year be able to feed the tight end at least.
65:18Dude, Mason Taylor did nothing last year. Not Mason Taylor.
65:22Who was it? Was it Conklin? Conklin was bad too.
65:25Maybe I'm tripping. Yeah, you are tripping a little bit.
65:28And I think to that point, Mason Taylor is still a second round pick.
65:33Mason Taylor may give him, may eat into his snap share a lot.
65:37As soon as he's missing some of camp. Yeah.
65:40So interesting. Jaden Blue goes off the board. I've got a guy queued up who I really like.
65:46We're going to see how it comes around. But we'll just see.
65:50And I am. Oh, there he goes. Alvin Kamara.
65:53I was curious if you were going to agree with me on that.
65:57Jalen Naylor goes. I'll be honest. Now I'm kind of caught with my pants down because I don't really.
66:04What have you been hearing about Jacoby Lane? I mean, good things.
66:08I just don't know if I'm willing to take him here yet.
66:12Really? Give me a second. I mean, you could go with the tight end that you were talking about.
66:18I mean, it's a bit early, but I wouldn't hate it.
66:22You're going to hate me for this? Okay. Adonai.
66:25Yeah. He spent an hour talking about fading their offense into a play.
66:29Yeah, Cyrus Allen, dude. We should have gone Cyrus Allen.
66:32Yeah. Yeah. No, we should have just taken him in the first.
66:36Oh. I'm serious. You win 80? That's crazy. I would have gone Sadiq over 80, but that's fun.
66:42I think Cyrus Allen went in like round 26 like a week ago.
66:46Yeah. Well, he's just going to. Yeah. I think that maybe that's where he peaked.
66:51I don't know. Have you seen the videos of Rice at training camp?
66:56I don't know how much to be scared about that.
66:59Oh, Rasheed Rice? Yeah. I mean, it's ugly, bro.
67:02But it never really looked good to me. He's been a guy who I've always been like.
67:08He finds the zone and yeah, he's not going to be a burner, but he does not look as like a guy
67:15that should be on the field right now, in my opinion.
67:18And you're a total fade on worthy. So I just think like, who's going to catch the walls?
67:24Like, that's why I was kind of high on Kelsey.
67:28If Mahomes plays to week one, there's going to be, you know, there's going to be full season value of whoever you get as a patch catcher there.
67:37Yeah. It's just hard to get it right, dude.
67:40And we've gotten burned so many times with. If their defense is worse, though, they're going to be throwing more.
67:47I'm just like, let me list them all. Justin Ross, Sky Moore.
67:51Like the list goes on and on of these hyped up wide receivers from the Chiefs during camp and they just don't
67:58end up going on to do anything. Be on the lookout.
68:01Damond, Claiborne, love that. Coach, he is on my list.
68:05I got one guy I would take ahead of him if he falls, but he is.
68:10I am. I'm with you, brother. I'm on the lookout.
68:13I love what you said. Me too. Actually, I've been trying to get more Claiborne, especially recently.
68:19I feel like there's so much upside in that backfield.
68:22Yeah. And Jones gets dinged up. Mason gets dinged up pretty consistently.
68:26And their early reports are that this guy looks like fast as lightning, just like he did in college.
68:33Right. Love the Trey Harris pick. Salute coach. Thank you for that.
68:36Again, I've got a guy queued up. We'll just see how the chips fall.
68:41I think I might know who you're talking about.
68:44Did you mention him earlier? Yeah, he's on the list.
68:47Yeah, yeah, yeah. And again. I would maybe go Claiborne over him, but yeah.
68:52But dude, you have to understand. There is a bit of positional scarcity with some of these, right?
68:58And there he goes. There he goes. Yeah. Terrence Ferguson, sleeper pick.
69:02Great pick. That's what I was thinking. That wasn't who you were thinking I was talking about?
69:08I thought we were on running backs. But yeah, Terrence Ferguson, I know you're high.
69:13I mean, they got so many guys in that room.
69:16So many guys in that room. There goes Demond.
69:19Okay, we're on the clock, man. Sadiq's falling. To your point, we got Hawkinson on the board.
69:24Pacheco. Omar Cooper. Almost to your point, if I was going to take a flag plan and be Cooper, but I just took AD.
69:32Is it too early to go defense? Is it too early to go Jags defense?
69:37I think it's too early to go Jags defense.
69:40Eagles defense? I think I like Jags defense, bro.
69:43I like Jags defense, too. Is that where their ADP is?
69:47We're getting around where they are actually on ADP.
69:50I'm going to go with it, dude. We need a defense.
69:54It's a kind of crappy division, you know? They're going to get Arizona week one or something?
69:59You know what? I'm not entirely sure. They actually have a pretty tough schedule.
70:04That is something that I will call out. They have a tough schedule, but they were a really solid defense last year.
70:11I think they'll only continue to get better. Sadiq's still falling.
70:15Yeah, what running backs are they? Running backs. We got Pacheco, Johnson, Robinson, Katron Allen, Nick Singleton, Ray Davis.
70:21Ray Davis is really interesting to me because, again, at this point, we've got four solid RBs.
70:27I think at a certain point, you have to start looking at who are the running backs who have the most contingent upside.
70:34I would say Johnson. Man, I told you about this.
70:38He's listed as RB4 on the depth chart right now, which I'm not putting too much stock into, but I'm also like I like Rashard Smith coming out.
70:47Apparently, Amari DiMarcato is like they have a lot of trust in him.
70:51I really am cautious on some of these rookies just banking on them to be immediately productive in year one.
70:58It's like if this was a dynasty draft, it would be a completely different discussion.
71:03Yeah, we wouldn't be there, but yeah. Yeah, DiMarcato though, really?
71:06Dude, I know. I know. I know. It sounds gross.
71:10It is what it is. But I think you probably heard there's a lot of positive praise coming out around AD Mitchell.
71:17He did have, again, a guy who could offer you some boom games.
71:21Yeah, and hopefully Gino. I mean, the Jets, the one thing the Jets actually do kind of have is they have two bookend tackles and a decent O-line.
71:30Gino, if he gets time, I mean, he's not going to – he was so bad last year, but I just feel
71:38like a lot of that was the situation around him with the O-line and the receiving core and everything like that and the play calling.
71:46I think Gino can elevate the Jets' offense from what it has been.
71:50I mean, they're not going to set the world on fire, but I think there's some value taking some of these guys
71:58that are getting faded because they're on that team.
72:01So AD Mitchell I like. I don't hate it.
72:04Dude, it's crazy though. Pacheco hanging out – or Sadiq still hanging out, right?
72:08Yeah, people are worried about the injury, and it makes sense.
72:12It makes sense. I think there's so many factors there, like I was talking about, having a second-round tight end there, having
72:19a lot of different options in that offense and him not being overly productive, and then you layer that in with the injury.
72:27It's just like there's a lot of risk there.
72:30Kata Otten going ahead of him though. I mean, that is just like nuts, man.
72:35Otten, yeah. He's there tight end one. But your boy's still there, right?
72:39Who's my boy? Oh, maybe not. Oh, never mind.
72:42No, he went. Yeah, I mean, we should probably think about tight end.
72:46100%. Again, I still think there are some sneaky, sneaky values at tight end.
72:51I'm not going to give anything away. The perfect lunch combo.
72:54That first bite of your favorite sub, followed by ice-cold Pepsi.
72:58Add a couple of friends, and now that's next level.
73:01Suddenly, the laughs get louder, the stories keep flowing, and the food tastes better.
73:06Because Pepsi brings out more flavor, more fun, and more of the moment.
73:10Food deserves Pepsi. Grab a Pepsi Zero Sugar today.
73:13Give me a look. Tell me who you think's put together the best team.
73:18Yeah, let me see. Ravens defense could be sneaky good this year.
73:22Not a bad pick. Yeah, they were bad last year, but they're going to be a lot better.
73:28Man, I really like our first four. Don't you love that?
73:31When I ask you your favorite team and you say ours.
73:35Yeah, these teams are nice, bro, but for the three-wide receiver, like McCaffrey, Walker, Devontae, Mike Evans.
73:41If Mike Evans stays healthy. I like Lamb Chase Brown, Naver's burden.
73:45With Caleb's stack and the Prescott stack. Yeah, I like Team 11.
73:49Coram, Tyson, yeah. I like Team 11. What do you think?
73:52The Chase Burrow stack's always scary. Team 3's not bad.
73:56Garrett Wilson in the fourth. Yeah, it's like just dependent on Burrow staying healthy, right?
74:01If they put together a full 16 teams, then that'd be good.
74:05I mean, Burrow, he's not going to get hurt every year, is he?
74:09No, I'm not arguing with you on that. I'm just saying, like, you know.
74:13Yeah, you just can't predict it, right? Like that.
74:16Gunnar Helm would have been nice. Helm's a guy I was excited about, especially coming out of college.
74:22Kind of a dog, too. Yeah, I like Helm.
74:25But there's some reports that Bellinger could be that guy who's actually seeing a majority of the snaps.
74:31They've all brought him in. He's a better blocker.
74:34Kind of fits the scheme a little better. I'm excited because I've got a bunch of players queued up and none of them have been taken.
74:43Tank Dell, love the player. Getting back to health.
74:46He was on my list. So we're up, we're up.
74:49Are you thinking Dolchich? Is that what you're thinking?
74:52No, no, no, no. I'm going to make a bit of an interesting pick here.
74:57I'm going to go with Ray Davis. I do think he is one of the better handcuff backs in this entire ecosystem.
75:04Again, any time that James Cook has not been playing, he's gotten 20-plus carries and gotten 20-plus fantasy points.
75:11And I think I told you that was sort of my approach, right?
75:15We've got eight solid wide receivers. I guess you could maybe say seven if you don't want to consider Adonai Mitchell.
75:22Or maybe six if you don't want to consider Trey Harris and him really solid.
75:27But I think they both have a really solid ability to see a lot of snaps this year.
75:33So, again, at this point, I start looking at kind of filling out with upside running backs, filling out our tight end
75:40room, filling out the quarterback room, and not having to go for guys like Antonio Williams or actually like Zachariah Branch.
75:47We're going to grab a few more wide receivers, but again, I just think – Different on the rookie receivers.
75:54I'm going to huge – I don't think any of the Falcons wide receiver twos are going to be viable this year.
76:01And I'm not convinced it's Branch right away anyway.
76:04I'd much rather have like Ted Hurst if he's still there.
76:08Is he? Yeah, he's still here. I'd almost guarantee it, dude.
76:11Hurst and Lane right now for me are the two guys I think that have like upside.
76:17Antonio Williams I like, but – You got a picture with Jacoby Lane at the combine and Makai Lemon.
76:23Yeah, both of them. I'm a big SC fan, so we were stoked to get the photo op with the boys.
76:30Makai Lemon's going to be a dog. Jacoby Lane seems like he's a dog.
76:35And by the way, Jacoby Lane is one of the most impressive 21, 22-year-olds I've ever met.
76:40That guy, good head on his shoulder, carries the conversation well.
76:44Hell yeah, brother. Definitely a guy that – sort of the opposite of Makai Lemon in a way.
76:50But not to dog on Makai. Just Makai's more soft-spoken is what I mean.
76:55No, I know what you mean. Dude, I thought that all got blown out of proportion.
77:00Yeah, for sure. Yeah, we were right there. He's doing his little snake thing.
77:04But he just – He wasn't that bad. People were like, oh my god, take him off the board.
77:11Yeah. He's just a dog, bro. He's just – he's got his own – he's got his own world in his head where he's the best player.
77:20And he might as well – he may be.
77:23We'll see. Dude, I've got some interesting stuff brewing in my brain.
77:27And you're – I can tell we're not completely aligned.
77:30I'm still going to cut you in on the winnings.
77:33If we win big, I'm still going to cut you in.
77:37And I don't think you've given me anybody that I've like – I think I've gone with who I want to go
77:44with, which is probably how it should be when I'm – you know, it's my entry.
77:49But – Yeah, for sure. Dude, shout out to Blake.
77:53Can we give Blake some love in the chat for talking ball with me and hopping on this?
77:59Hey, bro, I'm just happy to be here. This is the funnest time of the year.
78:04Draft season. And yeah, thanks for having me, bro.
78:07This is all thanks to you and Player Profiler.
78:10Hell yeah, bro. Like I said, as the guy said earlier, coming in here for a 30-round draft is no easy task.
78:17So shout out to you. We're on the board.
78:20I got a guy who I'm going to go with.
78:24And it's a bit of a – it's an interesting pick.
78:27It is a stack. So we like that. It doesn't conflict with the bye week of the other position I have here.
78:34We're going to look at Pat Friermuth, baby. They were playing a lot of their starters early.
78:40They had – actually, they really weren't playing a lot of their starters.
78:44They had Darnell Washington out there running some routes in this preseason game that just started.
78:50And they did not have Friermuth out there. They did not have Rodgers out there.
78:55I think we see a bit of a resurgence with Friermuth this year.
78:59I get behind that. I think he's a screaming value, especially at this point when you're talking about guys who literally might not score a point.
79:08Like there are some guys who have been drafted who will almost be like total zeros.
79:13And that is a starting tight end on what I think will be an improved offense.
79:18So I'm going Friermuth here. We've kind of rounded out that tight end room a little more.
79:24Still some solid tight end values on the board.
79:27Would have loved to have gotten Ferguson, like I told you.
79:30I think there's been a lot of reports about him.
79:34You know, the problem with him, I think everybody knows it, is there's like 20 tight ends in that room, right?
79:41Maybe he's still there. Parkinson looks like – you know, he's a bit of a target vulture.
79:46Fergie – Parkinson is. Yeah, and dude, they drafted Max Clare in the second round.
79:51You know what I mean? In the second? Yeah.
79:54Yeah. I forgot it was that early. Yeah. Kind of crazy, right?
79:58You take – We asked him at the combine too, like his production disappeared.
80:03It was him and Kazmeric there. Kazmeric was the blocker, right?
80:06Like Kazmeric's the blocker. But then you see a huge dip in production as they're like ramping up towards the playoffs.
80:13And asked Max Clare what happened there. And, you know, he basically gave the right answer that he was just trying to help the team out.
80:22They were calling a lot more two tight end blocking sets for running plays.
80:27He was doing a lot more of the dirty work.
80:30I could see him having blocking value early. I don't think he's going to like be a threat to Ferguson.
80:36I'm more concerned about the Parkinson-Higby combo in the red zone.
80:40Steeland looks from – and Devontae Adams. Right. Steeland looks in the red zone from Fergie.
80:45But I know they like Ferguson a lot. I think he's the most talented tight end of the bunch physically, athletically.
80:52Colorado guy too. Born in – or he went – grew up in Cherry Creek in Denver.
80:58Cherry Creek boy. Yeah, he has actually – when I was at the Combine two years ago, I was asking him about
81:05like would you want to play for the Broncos?
81:08And he was like undoubtedly. Yeah, I'm sure he would love that.
81:12I'm sure he's got a lot of family here still.
81:15Does that mean Jake's from here too? Jake Ferguson.
81:18Are they – they're not related. I'm just kidding.
81:21I'm just kidding. Like people – I feel like people out there still think that they are though.
81:27And it was like for like the first – when he was in Oregon, I was like I just assumed they were brothers.
81:35And I was like they're totally different like athlete, like different players.
81:39So – but yeah. Just for anybody wondering, they're not brothers.
81:43When are you thinking kicker, by the way? Dude, I'm thinking kicker.
81:47Just the whole time? Okay. I don't think I've done a best ball draft this year with D and kickers yet.
81:54Yeah, yeah. Dude, it is a unique format. And I think that's part of the challenge, but it's also part of the fun, right?
82:01So Jacoby Lane goes. Honestly, you're high on him.
82:04Pretty high on Jacoby right now. I don't know, man.
82:08I just struggle with like it's going to be Derek Henry, Mark Andrews, Zay Flowers.
82:13And I just don't know how much of the pie is left for anybody else.
82:18I would much rather have the wide receiver two on the Ravens than the wide receiver two on the Falcons.
82:24But what if the wide receiver two on the Ravens is Rashad Bateman?
82:29I don't think it is. That's what they're saying, man.
82:32I don't think it will be. Dude, Bateman's actually not like – he's not a bad player.
82:38He's just really – I mean, he put it all together two years ago, right?
82:42He's had flashes. Like he's had flashes. But what is this?
82:46Year four, year five for him? Yeah, I think it's like year six almost.
82:51Yeah, year six, bro. Like what are we still going to – we're still saying Bateman is going to be wide receiver two.
82:58I'm willing to play my flag on lane at this point.
83:02Well, it's too late, brother. He's gone. I know.
83:05But, you know, it's your baby. I'm just here for – You're just here to watch me kill the baby?
83:12Just here to watch you put the baby in the microwave.
83:15Dude, I'm about to make maybe the hottest pick of the entire draft.
83:20Who's that? Nice, dude. Yeah. Let's see what you got.
83:23What I would say right now is perfect timing.
83:26Yeah, do it. Yeah, I love it. That's where he goes.
83:29That's where he should go. I mean, dude, Watson looks like – he looks like doo-doo still.
83:35You know, he's got no life in that arm.
83:38As good or bad as you think Sanders is, he's going to start 10 games this year.
83:44I think – and I think he's shown some flashes, right?
83:47He's so inconsistent. But, again, in best ball, if you can give me one or two 20, 30-point weeks, then it's an easy payoff at ADP here.
83:56I think they're going to be in a lot of low-scoring games is my biggest worry.
84:02But – Yeah. You don't really get a good stack with him in Judkins, but that's okay.
84:07Yeah. Well, dude, there are still some wide receivers from that team on the board.
84:12I'm not saying they're extremely interesting, but like Isaiah Bond – well, I think Bond might have gone, actually.
84:18Bond off? Yeah, Bond's gone, bro. Wait, is Judy?
84:21Judy's gone. Bond's gone. Yeah, I don't think anybody's left.
84:25Boston's gone, which is just kind of – again, I feel like there's got to be – I think Bond should have hung around a little more, man.
84:34Yeah, I wouldn't think – You're taking the wide receiver four of a pretty crappy offense.
84:39Do you think – are you buying the Boston wide receiver one talks?
84:44No, man. I think KC Concepcion is going to be that guy who gets just the highest target share.
84:50And we talked about this with Boston at the Combine.
84:53He's totally cool being a sacrificial X. He's like, I want to be an X.
84:58That's what I play. And unless you've got a guy like Stafford or one of those guys who can really pinpoint it
85:05down the field, those X receivers just aren't as interesting to me.
85:09Fair point. I also think Judy sticks around as much as everybody hates that.
85:14Yeah. I think he's going to be sticky, unfortunately.
85:17What do you think impositionally? I'm looking at a couple tight ends.
85:21There goes your boy, Ted Hurst. There is one other wide receiver who, honestly, I think if these guys were watching the
85:28game earlier today, they might be thinking about it a bit differently.
85:32We'll see in a second here if he's still on the board.
85:36Just looking at ADPs and just kind of where these guys are going on average.
85:41Yeah. Team two. Okay. We're on the clock. I'm going to do it, dude.
85:46I'm going to go with Jeremy, dude. Yeah. Hell yeah.
85:49I'm a huge Jeremy Bernard fan. Yeah. I've been a little bit less so since training camp just with some of the reports.
85:57But I think, you know, he's a second round pick.
86:00Was he the first wide receiver in the second round or did he go after Shriveling?
86:05Yeah. After Shriveling. Shriveling was like pick 33. Yeah.
86:08So you couldn't be higher in the second round than Shriveling.
86:12But again, to that point. Dude, all it takes is, you know, Michael Pittman.
86:16How many times has he played 17 games? Right.
86:19Well, in the reports are that he's going to play outside in that kind of that Z role.
86:25They're talking up Roman Wilson. That calf's going to be in that X role.
86:30Yeah. They're talking up Roman Wilson. I don't believe it.
86:33Full stop. And dude, honestly, that hits the stack, dude.
86:37Double stack. We got Friermuth. We got Bernard. And we got Rodgers.
86:41And again, if that offense has life to it, there's no way that's not a value getting those guys after pick 200.
86:48Right? So going for the Bengals defense. Bit interesting for sure.
86:52Yeah. I mean, they're going to be better. It's hard to be worse.
86:56Their schedule, I'm assuming, is probably pretty favorable is maybe why.
86:59But yeah, I don't know. I don't think I would have made that pick.
87:04I'm loving it, dude. Should we double D here?
87:07Yeah. We're going to – we're actually getting kind of tiered to the bottom of the barrel with D.
87:13You're seeing them start to fly off the board.
87:16So we'll see. There's two left, actually. I don't want to ruin it, bro.
87:21I'm just kidding. But yeah. If you are listening to this and you're in this draft room, just keep hammering other positions besides defense right now.
87:30Do me a favor. He's won three defenses in a row, which honestly – but he's got four defenses.
87:36And again, in best ball, I kind of understand the allure.
87:39And there it goes. I think that Cowboys D could have been sneaky good, dude.
87:44Quentin Williams. I was real – that was who I had queued up.
87:49I was hoping they came back around. Yeah. Downs looks pretty good in camp.
87:53Uh, that's a bit sad. But not the end of the world.
87:57I do think we're going to see at least one more defense go.
88:02I'm curious. Because – Defenses left on the board.
88:05Raiders, Commanders, Dolphins, Jets, Cardinals. Commanders, maybe. Really? I thought you might say the Jets.
88:10Yeah, Jets, too. I mean, I know they – Commanders did a point, though.
88:14I just know that they really made that a priority.
88:17Who? The Commanders. What did they do? I'm going to look it up because I don't remember.
88:23And there they go. Yeah. Not going to look it up anymore.
88:27I know they did a lot, though, in the draft and free agency.
88:31It's really the Dolphins, the Jets, and the Cardinals.
88:34And there go the Jets. We've got to take a second defense here.
88:39You can't go Dolphins, right? I don't think you can go Dolphins.
88:43I think we – as bad as it is, I think we can go Cardinals.
88:48It's kind of rough. But we're – It's pretty disgusting, dude.
88:51Those are the two – like, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
88:54I still love Jeremy Bernal. It is what it is, right?
88:58We're kind of stuck with it at this point.
89:01And again, we'll just hope that the Jags are going to hold it down and that the Cardinals can maybe put together
89:08a couple weeks that – What are the bi-weeks?
89:11Okay, 7 and 14. Let me just – let me try and see schedules.
89:16Do a quick recap of our team. We got JSN in round 1, AJ Brown in round 2, Ladd McConkie round 3,
89:23Loveland round 4, Judkins round 5, Brian Thomas round 6, Justin Herbert round 7, Harvey in the 8th, Dowdle in the 9th,
89:30Krosky Merritt in the 10th, Pierce in the 11th, Coker in the 12th.
89:35I think those are great values. Here's the Rodgers in the 13th, Trey Harris in the 14th, A.D.
89:41Mitchell in the 15th, Jags defense in the 16th, Gray Davis 17th round, Pat Pryor move 18th round, Shador perfect timing, Sanders
89:48in the 19th, Jeremy in the 20th. I stopped watching because we had to hop on this stream.
89:54I've got it up in the background. Dude, he had like four catches for like 80 yards and he might have a couple of people missed.
90:02Jeremy Renard stock in Dynasty, bro. I mean, he's a value, right?
90:06He's kind of just slipping in. He slipped in this.
90:10And sometimes you just have to follow the draft capital.
90:13You have to follow, you know, played at some big schools, played with at Michigan State where he didn't necessarily break out.
90:20I think he was battling for targets with like Keon Coleman, Jayden Reed.
90:24And like it was a pretty crowded wide receiver room and he was still somewhat productive.
90:30It was still Jayden Reed. I couldn't believe that, but that's true.
90:34They did overlap there. So I'm just thinking of the Jags schedule for their defense.
90:39So we're going to get Cleveland week one, which I think we're super happy with there.
90:44Money. Yeah. That's why I was high on Jacksonville.
90:47I couldn't remember if it was Arizona or. Just whoever plays Cleveland once.
90:51We might just win based off that. Denver week two, honestly, like, I don't know.
90:56I don't know how good our offense, Broncos offense, is going to look early in the season.
91:02Right. I think that's fun. Patriots week three. And the Cardinals play San Francisco week three.
91:07So not ideal. The good news is the Cardinals get the Giants the week after when the Jags have Cincy.
91:14So maybe the Cardinals, you know, hold them under 300 yards.
91:17Oh, yeah. How does the defensive scoring work, by the way?
91:21Just very standard. Like, you know, 12 points for a shutout or something like that.
91:26You know, interceptions, two points, things like that. So pretty standard scoring settings for defense.
91:31Nothing like crazy. Okay. Yeah, for sure. And I think Jacksonville is going to be good enough to where, like, matchups against
91:38Denver and Philly aren't even going to be that scary.
91:42Right. For us, like, Houston week six should be good.
91:45And then the bye. I think the beautiful part is, dude, all the defenses are gone.
91:50So we don't even, we can just kind of move on.
91:54Like, we're stuck with two defenses. We're not stuck with one at least.
91:58You know, it is what it is. We're going to be up on the board here next.
92:04So I'm thinking big run of kickers. Yeah, I'm okay passing on kicker for a little bit more.
92:10I'm still not there yet. I am curious. You think Evan Ingram puts it together a little more this year?
92:16Or do you think Darren Waller is the better fit?
92:20He's got some buzz. Ingram does. Yeah, he does.
92:23But they brought in Joe Lee. I don't think Joe Lee did much early.
92:27Yeah, it's between him or Waller for you? I think I got to go Waller, dude.
92:32Yeah. Like, just for his rap skills, if nothing else, man.
92:36This dude can freaking spit some bars, man. And no joke, that actually shows me something.
92:41Like, this dude is a cerebral, talented dude. He's got the drugs out of his life.
92:47He's got Kelsey Plum out of his life. He still wants to play ball after retiring.
92:52I think that's the worst case, is he retires from me midseason again.
92:56But at tight end three, he's got some splash upside.
93:00We're going to go with Darren Waller. Again, taking him ahead of, or like two picks before Michael Mayer, I think is a sign of a solid pick.
93:09I like Michael Mayer, dude, just because, you know, if Bowers goes down.
93:13Right. There's contingent upside. But I think Waller is going to be the week one starter.
93:18And as long as he stays healthy, you know, he's not worried about Jatavian Sanders or Mitchell Evans.
93:24Yeah. But, you know, as long as he stays healthy.
93:28He's a thing for sure. I love how when I said that about Burrow, you're like, oh, man, he doesn't.
93:34He can't get hurt. What's Waller's 39 years old?
93:37You know what I mean? Dude, stop. 29, 30.
93:40Yeah. Different positions. Dude, one other guy who is apparently running with the ones more than Hunter Henry is Eli Raradon.
93:47Yeah, I like Raradon. I was going to say, I thought you were targeting him earlier, but I wasn't going to say anything.
93:55I think he's the type of guy we could literally get in around 30.
93:59You think so? Yeah, but I don't know if we need four tight ends.
94:04We don't. We definitely don't. At this point, I think we should look to Phil running back.
94:10But goddamn, what running backs are left? Michael Fay, learn from the previous mistakes, fellas.
94:15First off, I want to say thank you for joining the stream and watching and commenting, but I want you to elaborate.
94:22Tell me what you mean. What are the mistakes?
94:25Are you talking about mistakes we made on this draft?
94:28Just elaborate for us, please. And again, we've still got five running backs and we've got nine wide receivers.
94:35And I think I told you my optimal build would probably be something like that.
94:39Three quarterbacks, three tight ends, nine wide receivers earlier than later, and then start filling in the back half of this draft,
94:47which is some contingent upside plays at running back with some murky running back room.
94:52So I've got a host of names of players that I like that fit that bill.
94:57We're going to start looking into them. Right. It's gone.
95:00Ollie Gordon, maybe. Is that something you're thinking about?
95:03Yeah. Ollie Gordon is on the list for sure.
95:06He's on the list of guys I like. But he's, again, that's a guy deep.
95:11Deep, deep. A lot, you know, deep. I mean, he could go, right?
95:16Yeah. I mean, Jalen Rag went there. That's the only reason I've seen that.
95:20You sure you don't want to go kicker? Let me look at what's left of kicker.
95:25Falcons kicker, Bills kicker, Titans, Packers. Is it Bass for the Bills still?
95:30I'm not even sure. Because Bills, I mean, you know, good kicker on a good offense.
95:35Yeah, it looks like it is. Is Bass healthy?
95:38He's one of those guys, right? Who gets dinged up as much as Burrow does.
95:43I like this guy hurt all the time. How are you a wider or a kicker who's always hurt?
95:49Get a stretch, bro. Eagles, yeah. Yeah, good one.
95:52I can't believe. I actually like Trace Mack was looking good.
95:56Yeah, Trace Mack. And there goes a Bills as well.
95:59So, again, I think here's an interesting take. I think you've got to lean into kickers playing in domes, dude.
96:06You've got Cardinals, Falcons, Raiders. Those are dome teams left.
96:09Raiders have a rookie, right? Because they're not going Carlson.
96:12Or no, they have Carlson. I'm thinking Packers, the other Carlson.
96:16Yeah, I think I'm going to go with the Falcons here, dude.
96:20Really? Okay. I don't even know who their kicker is.
96:23It's not Coup anymore. No. No. Let's look who it is.
96:27Falcons kicker. Nick Folk, baby! He didn't side 40.
96:30I'll say that. Dude, that is a plus easy move that I just made.
96:35We just got future Hall of Famer Nick Folk in round 25.
96:39I had no idea he was kicking for the Falcons.
96:42QB in defense. Michael, thank you for elaborating. I can agree with that.
96:46I can agree with you, brother. But again, I think Jags end up being a top 5D unit in some world.
96:53And Herbert ends up being a top 5QB. I think we've layered.
96:57You got to start three wide receivers every week, right?
97:00You got to fill in that flex position. It seems like, in my opinion, that this format, they just are so bullish
97:08on really hitting on some of those late round picks.
97:11And again, I'd much rather have some of those upside plays at those positional plays than going all in on a defense
97:18or on some quarterbacks that just don't excite me.
97:21Would be really fun if Rodgers can put together a top 12 QB finish this year to go out.
97:27That would be super cool. And again, these are the types of things you have to take some swings.
97:34You know what I mean? You have to take some swings.
97:37So appreciate you. Like I said, appreciate the comments.
97:40Appreciate you participating in the draft, Michael Fay, and giving us your thoughts.
97:45I am curious, if you want to keep commenting, tell me a little more about some of the high stakes drafts you
97:52do and if you play NFFC a lot, because I am curious to hear your thoughts.
97:57And again, we are heading into around... Are we halfway there yet?
98:0124. We're two-thirds of the way there. I don't know.
98:05We're like three-quarters. I don't know. Five-sixths of the way there.
98:08Let's break down the math here. What running backs are left?
98:12Dude, I got so many tabs open. I'm like having a seizure.
98:16Yeah, it can be tough. So you're crushing it though, brother.
98:19You're doing a hell of a job. Thanks, man.
98:22Appreciate you. Let's look. So I am curious, Seth McGowan getting a lot of buzz as that backup running back.
98:29Again, some contingent upside there. Still on the board.
98:32We got Jalen Wright. I think... No, he's probably gone.
98:35Jalen Wright went earlier. I'm assuming Bixby's gone, right?
98:38Oh, of course, dude. Long, long gone. I think Rasheed Ali is an interesting one, but I think he's gone.
98:45Where do you think he's gone? I just don't even see him.
98:49No, he's not. I'm going to go with McGowan here.
98:52I'm not overly in love with him, but I just think Taylor's a guy who struggled to stay healthy.
98:58There's just been a lot of buzz about him early on.
99:02So we're going to go with McGowan here. And we're taking some swings at guys who could slot in to get 10
99:09to 15 carries if that primary running back goes down.
99:13And when you're getting that in round 26, I really like it.
99:17Here's what I like about McGowan. If Taylor goes down, McGowan is 6'2", like 25.
99:22Like, he's going to get goal line touches. Like, I think it's a safe upside pick there, betting on, not betting on injury, but as a contingency plan.
99:31If he was like a little scat back, backing up Taylor, I would be less buzzed about it, I think.
99:37Does that make sense? Yeah, 100%. That's the whole thesis, right?
99:41This is a player who's a bulldog. Yeah. Now, are you trying to double kicker?
99:46Yeah, we got to land another kicker. Okay. So I think that's kind of, again, I'm okay fading kicker because now we're
99:53talking about guys like Seth McGowan instead of passing on someone with substantially more upside in those earlier rounds to go grab a kicker.
100:01So I'm cool with this approach. At least our boy who's been commenting didn't flame us, Michael Fay, for fading the kicker.
100:09So shout out to that. Let's hear what he said.
100:12Not all in on defense, just being the last ones.
100:15You normally want three of both in this format just due to variance of position.
100:20Fair enough. Yeah, he's making good points. Dude, I still want to hear more about like, what are some of that?
100:27What are you drafting on NFFC, Michael Fay? Are you, what's kind of the highest stakes league you've entered?
100:33I just, because I like when we get someone who seems like they know what they're talking about, participating in the draft, offering some good insights.
100:42So I'm all ears, man. Curious for you, Ali Gordon or Rasheen Ali?
100:46Ali Gordon. Yeah. Let me check, actually. But yeah, just top of my head, I'd say Gordon.
100:52But I have some form of, I don't know if my rankings even go that far, to be honest.
100:58Yeah. Ali, I've already gone to my ranking. Yeah.
101:01I'm not even really on. I'm not even thinking Rashe Ali, to be honest with you.
101:06Dude, I think it's sneaky. I mean, Justice Hill is a guy who's going to not play that every down roll if anything happened to Henry.
101:15Randall's very developmental. Yeah. I think there was one or two games where they were like, they kind of eased up on Henry.
101:23It was either a blowout or something like that.
101:26And it was like, he kind of slotted into that.
101:29Okay. I missed that. Oh, damn. And we are hung out to dry, dude.
101:34We just got bone. No kickers left. One kicker.
101:37I did the fatal flaw. Yeah. Well, you know, you live and you learn.
101:41Look at this guy. Play a lot on here.
101:44Lucky enough to have won this overall two years ago.
101:47It does not sound like luck. You're being modest.
101:50Yeah. That's big money. Justice Hill goes. I think we're going with Ali Gordon here, dude.
101:56Yeah. I like it. Still other options. Mafa. Interesting.
101:59Interesting. Emmanuel Wilson. Interesting. Jordan James is gone. Jordan James is still there.
102:03You going with any of those guys over Ali Gordon?
102:06Maybe Jordan James. Let's do it, dude. We think we think this guy's built a glass.
102:12McCaffrey. We passed on him at sixth overall. You got to kind of take a stand there, right?
102:18James is banged up a bit. Is he not?
102:21Yeah, he's banged up. But so is freaking. Is Black banged up as well?
102:25So, Kalen Black. I mean, who isn't banged up with San Francisco?
102:29Just give me a fresh body on that field.
102:32And they're going to do it. Honestly, I think they're going to get some of the higher over-unders this year.
102:39So, just with the defense-offense combo and their division.
102:42The perfect lunch combo. That first bite of your favorite sub, followed by ice-cold Pepsi.
102:47Add a couple of friends, and now that's next level.
102:50Suddenly, the laughs get louder, the stories keep flowing, and the food tastes better.
102:55Because Pepsi brings out more flavor, more fun, and more of the moment.
102:59Food deserves Pepsi. Grab a Pepsi Zero Sugar today.
103:02Yeah, I like the Jordan James fake. Maybe Alan Gordon gets back.
103:06We'll see. Dude, it is really, really rough, though, to his point.
103:10You fade those positions, and then you're stuck with one kicker.
103:13And it's the Falcons kicker. It's Hall of Famer Nick Fulk, dude.
103:17Putting up a bagel in Week 11 during the bye week for my kicker position.
103:22Could be worse, right? Yeah, I'd rather be hurting a kicker than wide receiver.
103:27Yeah. Man. Douglas. A really interesting pick, actually, going this late.
103:31Definitely fell. Totally forgot about him. Holy smokes, Caleb Douglas.
103:34I just assumed, dude, because I can't see ADP.
103:37I'm just this. I assumed he wasn't there. He's buried.
103:40He's not. That's the thing. He's not near the top of ADP.
103:44So it was a bit. What other. Is he the first Dolphins receiver off the board?
103:49That's a good question. Tolbert is still on the board.
103:53Malik Washington is gone. Okay, Washington win. That makes sense.
103:56But yeah, I think Douglas is. That's crazy, though.
103:59Solid pick. Probably would have went him over Jordan James.
104:02Yeah, me too, bro. That's a diamond in the rough right there.
104:06Kevin Coleman? I'm out. Out on him? I actually like the player.
104:10I'm just so out on the offense. You know what I mean?
104:14Yeah, I'm out on the combine. There were a lot of real nerds there that were big Kevin Coleman guys.
104:21Real nerds. That were big high on. Big up on.
104:24On the Missouri kid. But I. I agree. The offense is not going to be.
104:29It's not going to support one wide receiver. Maybe.
104:32Let alone. Three. Two or three. And then what's the deal with Chris Bell?
104:37Is he going to play at all this year?
104:40I'm curious if he already got drafted. Yeah. Is Chris Bell still on the board?
104:45He'll probably play. I do think. That might not be a terrible pick.
104:49Yeah, I might take him. I think that's kind of my approach with wide receivers almost at this point.
104:55We'll come back to it around 30. He has serious talent.
104:59Yeah. No, solid player. Solid player. What did you call them?
105:03Those little cherub cheeks? When you saw them at the combine, you had to make cheeks.
105:08Very cherubic. Looks like your baby, Johnny. A little bit.
105:11Yes. For the viewers, I just had my first baby.
105:14A baby girl named Jane. Very cute. Very sweet.
105:17She's just crying a little bit. So I'm going to have to make sure my wife's not quartz ringer or something.
105:24Yeah. Kudos to Megan for manning the parenting duty.
105:27Holding it down. 30 round. Producing the baby and babysitting the baby while we hammer out this 30 round draft.
105:34Yeah. Couldn't do without her. I was going to say Carson Beck, dude.
105:38Okay. Ollie Gordon, Rasheen Ali, Emmanuel Wilson, Sione Vaki.
105:41Dude, Emmanuel Wilson? Do you like Emmanuel? Enough here.
105:44Yeah, for sure. Yeah. I think we go with Emmanuel Wilson as well.
105:49Yeah. I think it's – yeah. I mean, Price seems – I don't know if you did watch Hard Knocks.
105:55I didn't watch Hard Knocks, but I heard he looked – he was looking good.
106:00So I don't know. Definitely fading Wilson more than I was already.
106:04But what is it? Round 28, 27? Right, right, right.
106:07Holani's gone. Yeah, Holani's going to get touches. He's going to probably be their third down bag.
106:13Yeah. I just – I see it kind of like a LeQuint Allen thing with George Holani.
106:19That's my comp. It's like these guys are going to play maybe 30, 40% of the snap but get like 2% of the opportunities.
106:27You know what I mean? I mean like – Yeah.
106:30Mm-hmm. Yeah, I can see that. He can pick up a blitz assignment.
106:34Nobody's arguing that. And correct me if I'm wrong, but Wilson looked good in sparing.
106:39Dude, the one game that Jacobs missed, 20-plus carries, 100 yards, two tutties.
106:43He's not a dog, but he's not a complete fade.
106:47I think he actually – I thought he looked good.
106:50I watched his film and I was like, man, I thought he looked good last year.
106:55The knock on Wilson is his ability to pass protect and to kind of do everything that the coaches ask from him.
107:03But, again, I still think you've got to take a shot on some upside plays here.
107:08Yeah, and then it's a world where Charbonnet doesn't come back 100% this year.
107:13Yeah, 100%. And or that he's not active for the first couple of weeks.
107:17And then if anything does happen to Jerry Price, who is already battling a little something.
107:22They say he got dinged up and should be fine, but there goes Chris Bell.
107:27Yeah, I mean, I do feel like people are listening, but I wasn't expecting him to make it that far back.
107:34Once you get Douglas and Kevin – because that is Kevin Coleman, right?
107:39No, that was Keon Coleman. I just think it puts Bell in the minds of dropters.
107:44Justin Fields, interesting. If we want – Coy Franklin, still on the board, dude.
107:49Yeah, that's gross though. So – You're out on him?
107:52I've always been out on Franklin. Where did – Sneaky productive, dude.
107:56Led all two second-year wide receivers last year in their perceptions.
107:59He also had the worst QBR. Oh, when targeted?
108:02When targeted, like past 20 yards. Where did Brian go, by the way?
108:07I missed that. I'm trying to get Brian these days if he falls at all.
108:12Who? Oh, Pat Brian. He went much, much earlier.
108:15Yeah, no, I know. I'm just curious where he's going now.
108:18Okay, we are on the board. I think I'm going to – I think I'm going to take that Ollie Gordon pick
108:26that I've been teasing for a few rounds. I do think there's some upside there.
108:31I think in a scenario – There's definitely – I like him better than Jalen Wright.
108:36I don't think he got a fair shake last year.
108:39The way they're talking about riding H – Etienne, Devon, I don't know.
108:43H-Chan. They're all H-Chan, dude. Everyone is H-Chan. Sorry.
108:46Okay, sorry. Everybody's asking H-Chan. There's no variance. It's crazy.
108:50No, Ollie Gordon's good. It's a good pick. I was hearing some psychos talking about Hollywood Brown if you have Hurts, which we don't.
108:58And I only bring that up because he went one pick before us.
109:02But I think there's some validity to that. Yeah.
109:05For those guys who are still waiting to do most of their best ball drafts, if you get Hurts as one of
109:12your quarterbacks to be looking at Hollywood Brown late.
109:15I've got a couple guys that I get a little bit excited about at this point.
109:21I'll bring them up to you in a second.
109:24You in it all for Taequann Thornton in best ball?
109:27Absolutely not, brother. Somebody's got to catch – somebody's got to catch balls.
109:31He won't shut up about it. He's just – somebody's got to catch these passes, man.
109:36Somebody's got to. And he's – you know, he's not good, but he will – he'll go like two catches for 70 and a touchdown every so often.
109:46Should we just go ultimate upside play and draft Anthony Richardson?
109:49There's a world, dude. It's not this one. I just threw up in my mouth a little.
109:55It's not this world, brother. I don't even know.
109:58Do they just cut him? I don't know what they do with him.
110:02If you can take – who's the – Riley Leonard, bro.
110:06Would not be a terrible pick. Right. Just looking through these ADPs.
110:10What was Leonard's line in week 18 last year?
110:13It was good, right? I don't know. I got some buddies who I play fantasy with that they were like trading seconds for him in the offseason.
110:22I was like, what are we doing, dude? Not a second.
110:25Come on. Shout out Laquan Jones posting a picture of trading a second.
110:30That's nasty. For Riley Leonard. Riley Leonard. Let's see.
110:33Yeah, week 18. 270 yards, two tutties through the air and a Russian touchdown.
110:37Yeah, Russian touchdown. Yeah, dude. I mean, Daniel Jones, like not an Iron Man.
110:42Ooh, I like Oscar Delp too actually, but more for – Talk to me about – Oh, fuck.
110:48I wanted to go Io Manor. I'm not going to lie with you, dude.
110:52Yes. Is he there? He's gone. Tough. So I've got in my queue Vaki, Ali, DK, Tez Johnson becomes interesting.
110:59Bryce Lance is interesting. Brennan Thompson is still there.
111:02Bryce Lance is – oh, Vele's gone. Okay, yeah, I like Bryce Lance.
111:06What about Brennan Thompson? Is that too much exposure to the Chargers at that point?
111:11Yeah, I'd say bet on one of those guys, him and Harris.
111:15I don't know. I'm going to go with Lance, dude.
111:19I think based on the fact that Tyson's not staying healthy.
111:22Already with the hamstring. A lot of it, not only does he have the concussion concerns, but there's the – I know he just got paid.
111:31A lot of it, you know, if he stays healthy, is the guy in there.
111:36I like Bryce Lance. Sneaky, sneaky pick there. Well, I think like – dude, sorry to – I'm glad that these teams
111:43are anonymized, but like Kyle Williams is literally wide receiver six on that depth chart, right?
111:48So it's just sometimes you get that immediate validation where you get a guy like Lance who could be a field stretcher
111:56as kind of a bit of like the unknown as opposed to like a guy like Williams who is apparently like not
112:03practicing at all with the first team. Yeah. Yeah.
112:06What are you thinking about Io Manor? I was hearing he's going to – Dude, I liked him.
112:12He was my next pick, no doubt. I honestly think we maybe should have gone for him ahead of Gordon.
112:18Just in hindsight, it's always 20-20. Yeah. No, but we got to smash these like long shot running backs, I think, just with our build.
112:27So speaking of long shot running backs, we've got Ali, Vahki, Mafa is still on the board.
112:32We took four of them. I don't know if we need another one.
112:37I was just saying instead of Io Manor, I don't mind getting Gordon there.
112:41We've already got 10 wide receivers. True. True. The build is a three QBs, nine running backs, 10 wide receivers, three tight ends.
112:49You don't want four QBs? I'm not out on it, but let's see.
112:53We've got Deshaun Watson, J.J. McCarthy, Flacco, Mariota. Do you take Watson already having Sanders?
112:58Huh? Do you take Watson already having Sanders? No, dude.
113:01I think I'm just – I think I'm so out on Watson, man.
113:06Okay. Just because it's like I just don't see him even plugging into the line.
113:11And there he goes anyways, right? Honestly, I think the guy that's most interesting just based on our build, to your point
113:18of kind of taking a bet here, is Tez Johnson.
113:21Like this incredibly productive in college, had some splashes as a rookie.
113:25I get it's a clouded wide receiver room, but I think he's an injury away from meaningful snaps.
113:31Yeah. And in an offense that likes to pass, he's got some familiarity in.
113:36So we'll see if he comes back around to us, but I think that's who I'm queuing up next.
113:42Yes, I like that. I like where you had that.
113:45What tight ends are there just out of curiosity?
113:48Oh, Raridon's gone, dude. Yeah. He went two rounds ago.
113:52Dude, Zach Hurts is the sneakiest pick left on the board.
113:55Where is he at? He's still on the board.
113:58He's like bottom of the ADP. He's probably going to go undrafted.
114:02No, I mean my fault, dog, but what team does he play on?
114:07He's not signed. Oh, he's undrafted. But I mean, that's the type of guy who when they sign, they get drafted.
114:14You know what I mean? If he signs midseason.
114:17Yeah, but I think if the boy falls, I think Tez.
114:20Are we totally out on Caleb Johnson? No. No, dude.
114:23I'm not, but. I think that's who my last pick is.
114:27If he comes back around. In basketball, dude. I'm not drafting him anywhere else.
114:32Yeah, but I mean, I've got, I've got Dowdle.
114:35So it's 30 rounds. Normally I don't like like.
114:38In best ball, drafting your backup and banking on that.
114:41But it's also somewhat interesting, right? We've already had nine other running backs.
114:45How much do you like Rashad Smith, by the way?
114:49Because you mentioned him as being a guy. He just went.
114:52Yeah. I mean, again, full point PPR, wide receiver background.
114:56Yeah. Showed some flashes. I think it's everything I was telling you about Emmitt Johnson, like that rookie year.
115:02They kind of just dog these guys. But now he's got a chance to kind of come back and make a step forward in the second year.
115:11So I like him. Yeah. I would have maybe taken him over Tez.
115:15But because I just, I like Kenneth Walker as a player.
115:19I always thought he's one of the best pure runners.
115:22But he doesn't catch the ball. He doesn't pass block well.
115:26That's people wonder why they were so heavy in committee.
115:29And it was, they drafted Sharps because they knew Kenneth Walker was not good at those things.
115:35He's good at running the ball. And that's pretty much it.
115:38And he doesn't stay healthy. So I'm really looking for upside on that offense.
115:43I think total, just like overall, as I've been kind of hammering that throughout this draft about, I don't think we even
115:50took one chief, but there's got to be somewhere.
115:53I'm trying to see the rough part, dude, that Caleb Johnson is getting burned right now in the game, dude.
116:00In the fourth quarter, after Lou Nichols, after Travis Homer, after Eli Heidenreich.
116:04How did Heidenreich look? Five carries, 12 yards. He's actually out there right now.
116:09So it might have been Johnson rotated in earlier or something.
116:12Yeah. What other receivers? Chimiri Dike is kind of the one that stands out.
116:17We got Iyuk still on the board. Tyreek Hill.
116:20Jalen Knoll, somewhat interesting, but they're talking about rotating.
116:23No, not Knoll. What about Tyreek? You like that?
116:26I mean. Let's do it, dude. Why not? What the hell, bro?
116:30I mean, that's crazy. I would have thought he would have been off.
116:34I mean, dude, the thing there again, people are really.
116:37They're listening to the reports like he's he said he had no power in his leg like a couple months ago.
116:44OK, well, maybe should we fade then? I know that I'm totally out on Caleb Johnson.
116:50Yeah. Maybe they were arresting him. Yeah, really did miss.
116:53That pick was dude. Holy cow. I took him over Luther Burden in one of my dynasty leagues, man.
116:59And I and I liked Burden. I mean, huh?
117:02I can't even blame you. Yeah. I mean, nobody, everybody in everybody was at the time.
117:08It was like the thing to do. Yeah. OK, we're on the board.
117:12I got queued up Hill. Rashin Ali. Sione Vaki.
117:15Dude, how bad do you want to go Ali?
117:18I feel like you want to go Ali really badly.
117:21I'm going to go Ali, dude. Now you're just making me.
117:25Marvin Mims is still on the board. What do you think about that?
117:29Who? Marvin Mims. Yeah. Let's do it, dude. We're going Marvin Mims.
117:33Yeah, let's get a Bronco. We have. Yeah, we have Harvey.
117:37Let's get another Bronco. There we go. We're done.
117:40We're done. Dude, no, not even not even breaking a sweat.
117:43Let's do. Let's do another one. Let's do. Yeah, I know.
117:47Under two hours. Not bad. I thought it was going to be a little worse than that in terms of like 30.
117:5430 rounds, 50 seconds around or per pick. Like in theory, it could take like four hours, but I've seen all of these are finishing under two hours.
118:03So I just took a nice long pee before my, before we streamed, I got some in me and I was ready to rock.
118:11Shout out to Matt Kelly. One more time, dude.
118:14That dude is the ultimate endurance athlete of podcasting.
118:17Like we, we spent an hour prepping for the show the other day.
118:22Then we recorded for two hours and I, I had to like stand up and stretch before we recorded.
118:28I had to drink some water. I had to go pee.
118:32I was drinking water during the stream. Three and a half hours.
118:35I was with this guy. Total didn't stand up once.
118:39Didn't drink water once. He is the Donald Trump of podcasting.
118:42Like, cause I don't know if you've ever heard about that.
118:46Like Donald Trump will do the same stuff. He'll go on Rogan for like six straight hours.
118:52And Rogan's like, dude, do you need some water?
118:55Like you need, you know, do you need a bathroom break?
118:58He's like, no, I'm good. I actually got to go on a plane right now.
119:03You know, like to my next event. I could say something about that, but I'm going to, I'm going to choose not to.
119:11Yeah. Let's not get political. Let's not get political.
119:14There's a reason why he doesn't have to, you know, stand up to go to the bathroom.
119:19Even though that's all it's the diapers, diapers, my God.
119:23Um, it has to be said anyway. Uh, yeah, dude, I'm liking the draft.
119:27How do you feel about it? I feel good about it.
119:31In an ideal scenario, we would have gotten three kickers and three defenses.
119:35I think to the, to, uh, Michael face point, a bit of a lesson learned there.
119:41Like you just, you kind of have to fly in the face of ADP sometimes and, and take reach for some of those positions.
119:49Um, but I do feel like we probably have, you know, the strongest positional groups in the room in terms of wide receiver, right?
119:57Like anytime that, uh, Brian Thomas is your wide receiver four and Coker's your wide receiver six and yeah.
120:03And like, dude, again, I think Jeremy Bernard could be a sneaky, sneaky productive player in his rookie year.
120:09I like some of the stacks we were able to put together.
120:13We got a double stack with Herbert. We got a double stack with Rogers.
120:18Um, and we've got some contingent upside plays at running back.
120:21You know, if anything happens to James cook, Ty Johnson's already banged up and Ray Davis is showing he can handle the workload.
120:29Corey Krosky merit could very much be a very big value going after Rashad white huge value.
120:35So I, I don't hate it again. I think we're really going to need Colston Loveland to pan out.
120:41Uh, we're going to need the Jaguars to be an absolutely lights out defense and we're going to need to get Falcons
120:48kicker Nick full to kick a lot of field goals.
120:51But I honestly think that's something I've, I've rode the coattails of the, the Falcons kicker and the, uh, Texans.
120:58I was, that was kind of one of the, it went earlier than I expected, but fairbairn were the most slept on
121:05guys, dude kicks in a dome can hit from 50 consistently.
121:09What'd you say? I think fairbairn stopped three ADP right now.
121:13At least in redraft. Yeah. Is he really? Yeah.
121:16He's close. I don't think he was on this.
121:19Let's just, now you've got me curious. Let me look at the board and just see.
121:24He went pretty early. So we, yeah, you're right.
121:27Look, uh, yeah. Cause homeboy took, uh, yeah. The Cowboys kicker dude.
121:31Wow. Yeah. That's a bit early, huh? It's early, but it's okay.
121:35Um, but yeah, you're right. Fourth kicker off the board.
121:38Um, Jason Myers, Seahawks, sneaky, good kicker. So, um, well, thanks guys for watching.
121:43We hope you enjoyed it. And, uh, yeah, man, it could be fun if the Steelers are a sneaky, good offense.
121:50If the Browns can put something together and score some points and Judkins and, uh, Sanders ends up being a starting quarterback.
121:57Again, there's a lot of swings for the fences here.
122:00Darren Waller, um, some upside plays with Bryce Lance.
122:03Marvin Mims is actually listed as, as a starter on the, on the depth chart.
122:08So I think getting him as the very last pick is interesting as well as a guy who we all know can bust a long one.
122:17Right. Uh, and the beauty of this format is obviously if he scores a kick return touchdown or, or a pump return touchdown, that's six points too.
122:26So, um, talk to me, close us out. Like what, what are your overall thoughts?
122:31What would you have done differently? What did you like?
122:34Um, I still regret, I think my biggest regret is not getting Donald.
122:38Not that I love the player, not that I love him, but he did, he went like right after we picked there.
122:45I can't remember what round it was. And you were saying to do it.
122:50Yeah. I was saying just cause Jason, the stack six round or six point passing touchdown.
122:55Um, it was by far our weakest position in that and maybe not by far, but it was a weak spot of our team.
123:03Um, I would say getting Rogers to pair with, uh, some of those late guys, uh, Bernard.
123:09And, um, if those, if that little tree becomes more valuable than it is right now for us during the season, I think we'll, we'll be pretty good.
123:18We'll be pretty safe and okay. Little, um, new to a lot of this basketball stuff.
123:24So good to see like where kickers go, how certain team or certain owners are approaching that strategy of, of hammering like three defenses in a row.
123:32Um, so yeah, I learned a lot. I had a lot of fun.
123:37Um, got a lot on the line though. So hopefully, uh, hopefully we hit on some of these guys room.
123:43Yeah, dude, I'll keep you close throughout the season.
123:46I'll let you know how this team pans out.
123:49I think to your point, our sore spots are going to be those, those soft positions as kickers in the defense, not
123:57as worried about quarterback, not worried about tight end.
124:00I do think we went a little heavy with 12 wide receivers.
124:04Um, but again, you, you know, you got to start three, you got to plug in a flex.
124:10Um, and I did like that. We went for some guys who can, who can score some splash plays.
124:16So, uh, thanks for watching everybody. Leave some comments after the show.
124:20We'll be sure to get to those. Um, and good luck winning your basketball drafts and your fantasy leagues.
124:26Good luck, everybody. Good luck, everybody. Good luck, everybody.
124:29Good luck, everybody. Good luck, everybody.
