Blake Corum

NegativeValue26:51

While the source remains high on Blake Corum from a dynasty perspective, they are less enthusiastic about his current ADP price tag, though they acknowledge his upside if Kyron Williams gets injured.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

PositiveBreakout58:53

Bretton Strange is a strong tight end target with top-10 upside. The Jaguars recently signed him to a three-year deal, signaling they value his role in the offense.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveValue30:14

Bucky Irving is seen as a value pick who is slipping in drafts, though there are concerns about goal-line usage and competition from Kenneth Gainwell.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveUsage13:17

Chase Brown is a target for the source, who projects him for 90 targets this season based on reports that he is taking reps out wide at practice.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveValue76:05

Dalton Schultz is a solid late-round value pick in round 17, as he and Jake Ferguson were high-target players last year, providing a reliable baseline even as a secondary tight end.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeProjection51:06

Reports suggest Deshaun Watson has looked bad in practice, which is boosting the perception of Shador Sanders. Despite this, the team remains heavily invested in Watson, and he is expected to get the starting nod unless Sanders has an exceptional preseason.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury20:07

Devonta Smith is currently dealing with a hamstring injury that has kept him out of practice, which may impact his performance or availability.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeValue17:19

The source is skeptical of Drake London's current ADP, finding it difficult to justify taking him at his high price tag compared to other available options.

Insight page

Evan Engram

PositiveValue72:58

Evan Engram has potential value in deep drafts due to his strong connection with play-caller Davis Webb, despite needing to refine his landmarks in the offense.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveValue16:39

George Pickens is ranked as a top-22 wide receiver in points per game, and the source views his current ADP as a slight discount.

Insight page

Greg Dulcich

NegativeInjury71:39

Greg Dulcich is once again dealing with an injury, which the source notes is a recurring issue that impacts his reliability.

Insight page

Gunnar Helm

PositiveBust71:43

The source advises against drafting Gunnar Helm in redraft leagues, viewing him as a streamer only, due to target competition and a low-scoring offense.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeUsage49:40

JK Dobbins is described as the 'chippiest' player at practice with a chip on his shoulder. He benefits from Sean Payton's history of throwing to running backs at a top-five rate, providing him with consistent opportunity.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveValue2:33

James Cook is viewed as a strong first-round value at the 1.11 spot, with the source noting they successfully secured him in their previous draft at that position.

Insight page

Jayden Higgins

NegativeUsage23:16

Jaden Higgins is a popular pick with touchdown upside, but the source expresses concern regarding the low-volume passing offense in Houston and the return of Tank Dell, making Higgins a target only at a discount.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

PositiveValue23:42

Joe Burrow is preferred over Lamar Jackson in this specific format due to the scoring rules: 6-point passing touchdowns and 1 point per 20 passing yards, which equalizes the value of rushing quarterbacks.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveBreakout47:33

Sean Payton has highlighted Jonah Coleman as one of his biggest surprises. Early reports from OTAs and rookie minicamp indicated bullish utilization, and he is considered a strong pick in best ball formats.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

PositiveProjection34:06

The source predicts Jordan Addison will achieve his first 1,000-yard receiving season.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveValue23:12

Josh Allen is considered a must-draft player if he falls to the middle rounds, as his availability at that stage represents significant value.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveValue28:59

Josh Jacobs is considered a top-25 player, and the source expresses confusion as to why his market price remains low.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

PositiveUsage84:14

Kamani Vidal is a strong handcuff option with more standalone upside than Ray Davis, capable of handling early-down work and catching passes if the starter is sidelined.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveProjection40:16

Kyler Murray has been a top-10 fantasy quarterback in points per game every year he has been a starter, making him a strong target despite rumors of a camp battle.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveValue25:47

Kyron Williams is viewed as a more palatable value pick in the 40s, despite being ranked as the 32nd player in ADP over the last few weeks.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

PositiveBreakout33:43

The source believes Makai Lemon is being hidden but will 'ball out' this year, noting that he is receiving positive reports despite missing some practice time as a precaution.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveValue54:22

Matthew Stafford is considered an incredible value at pick 140, as he is being drafted behind quarterbacks like Sam Darnold, Jordan Love, and Cam Ward, which is unjustified regardless of stacking opportunities.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveSleeper71:34

Pat Freiermuth is considered a post-hype sleeper in round 16-17 due to the significant number of vacated targets in the Pittsburgh offense and a potential scheme change under Mike McCarthy.

Insight page

Ray Davis

NegativeInjury67:54

Ray Davis is currently dealing with an ankle injury that may cause his ADP to drop, though he remains a strong handcuff option if James Cook misses time.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

PositiveValue27:26

The source is a big fan of Rico Dowdle, ranking him inside their top 60 running backs. Despite reports of him splitting first-team reps with Jalen Warren, the source is not overly concerned and views his current ADP as a massive discount.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeValue44:44

RJ Harvey has been slipping in public sentiment and ADP, moving from the mid-to-late 90s or even the 70s/80s earlier in the offseason to the 10th round, while JK Dobbins is now consistently being drafted ahead of him.

Insight page
NegativeValue44:58

R.J. Harvey's ADP is slipping in public sentiment; he was previously going in the 70s or 80s but is now being drafted later in the round 10 range.

Insight page

Ryan Flournoy

PositiveSleeper62:10

Ryan Flournoy is a high-exposure target who could reach 5-6 touchdowns and 800 yards as the third receiver in Dallas. He is considered the best wide receiver 'handcuff' because he would likely become a top-24 receiver if CeeDee Lamb or other starters missed time.

Insight page
PositiveRole66:19

The source prefers Ryan Flournoy over Trey Harris because Flournoy has a clearly carved-out role in the offense and is viewed as a high-quality player with significant NFL impact potential.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveValue38:08

The source finds Sam LaPorta's current ADP (pick 92) to be a head-scratcher and a great value, as they have him ranked inside their top five tight ends, 20 spots ahead of his current draft position.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeValue74:10

Stefon Diggs is being drafted in round 10 following his signing with the Commanders, with the source suggesting he makes sense in the 80s range of ADP.

Insight page

Ted Hurst

PositiveRole14:14

Ted Hurst is expected to fit well into the X-receiver role for his team and has been performing well in practice during maintenance days for other starters.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveSleeper22:32

Terrence Ferguson is an upside sleeper pick at pick 215, with reports suggesting he may operate as the team's wide receiver three due to depth issues.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

PositiveSleeper22:22

The source suggests considering Travis Hunter as a late-round pick to chase upside on a cheap investment.

Insight page

Tre Harris

PositiveSleeper63:46

Trey Harris is preferred over Quentin Johnston in best ball formats due to his superior talent and potential to push for playing time in the Chargers' offense. While the offense is expected to be run-heavy, Harris is viewed as a 'delayed, not denied' talent.

Insight page
NegativeValue66:00

Trey Harris is a high-risk, high-reward option; the source notes that drafting him requires accepting the possibility of receiving zero production, though he remains a target for those betting on his talent.

Insight page

Tyler Allgeier

PositiveUsage68:52

Tyler Allgeier is viewed as a valuable handcuff and high-end RB2/backend RB1 if the starter gets injured; the source notes he has already shown the ability to steal red-zone work from Bijan Robinson and could do the same to Jeremiah Love.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveProjection20:16

The source is high on Zay Flowers for the upcoming season, ranking him ahead of Devonta Smith.

0:00What is good? NFFC Live! We are here live stream, me and podcast Pete.
0:05Pete's on vacation but he's here dedicated to the folks.
0:08You saw us draft last week from the 111 Pete.
0:11Funny enough, just a few hours ago this lobby filled in what pick do you think we got Pete?
0:17We got the same pick that we got last week so we're gonna be able to see last week changes to this
0:24week and see if anything's really changed with recent news in the NFL and updates but the 11 spots great and again
0:31it is a third round reversal too. Yeah, I'm very excited about it.
0:36I want to get that early value on a pick in round three and I love to take advantage of the board
0:43like who ends up making a mistake and also people who are sharp if there's sharp picks along the way that just
0:50determines and makes uniform part of what I'm gonna do for my pick.
0:54So you follow ADP the value that falls to you.
0:57It's a little bit out of your control but in a way if mistakes get made or value pockets occur then as to the value of your pick.
1:06Benefit of the person in the back half of the draft.
1:10Now last week when you were in the driver's seat and you were clicking the buttons, what was your feeling thought sentiment as the first round was unfolding?
1:19Yeah, we talked about it right and Gibbs, Jameer Gibbs goes off the board at the 101 but we talked about it right.
1:27This is a start three wide receiver format. This is a one point per reception format as well and it's a third round reversal, right?
1:35So, you know, typically in drafts this year I have leaned heavily on running back early like many have but in a
1:42situation where you gotta start three wide receivers I tend to lean a little bit more on securing wide receivers early and
1:49then being able to kind of give yourself a little bit of freedom.
1:53Last week we went James Cook in the first slot at 111 and then we went three wide receivers straight right after.
2:00We felt pretty good about it. It's 30 rounds by the way.
2:04For those that may not know, it's $150 buy-in.
2:07If you're, you know, have not used our promo code yet, you can use first time 100, get $100 off your first draft.
2:14So this is $150 entry. You punch the promo code in and you only gotta pay $50 for an entry in this draft.
2:22In terms of the payouts, right? There's, there's 12 teams in the draft.
2:26Like I said, 30 rounds, third round reversal. It pays the top three in each league, including 800 to first place.
2:33And then you have a $30,000 grand prize. So total points for all teams over 17 weeks you're drafting and then you're pretty much done.
2:41And the prizes are based on 230 leagues, which is 2,760 teams.
2:45Teams, again, accumulate those points from weeks one through 17.
2:48So a lot of fun, a lot of ways to win some money here.
2:53And we love drafting with NFFC. Jeremiah, let's get to the board here, right?
2:57We've seen pretty much a split here. Four wide receivers, four running backs up the board.
3:02You're coming up here in just a few picks.
3:05It's team 11 in the 11 hole. What are your thoughts so far?
3:10Who are you hoping falls to you at 11 with what's on the board?
3:14Well, I will say, Pete, if there's running backs on the board, is there any disinclination where it's okay, where you think
3:21I can double tap wide receiver and we play a little bit of chicken with the zero running back game?
3:28Absolutely. I don't mind getting unique. I think going zero RB early is interesting.
3:32Again, it's a three wide receiver start and we're talking best ball, right?
3:36So we don't have to, you know, add or drop or make any lineup changes, right?
3:42And if you are to go that route, then you're really just looking to maybe handcuff some really, really elite running backs
3:49and hope for some injuries down the way to maybe fill in those gaps.
3:53But zero RB, it's not my style, but I don't mind giving it a shot.
3:58I mean, depending on who's there at wide receiver, if you're in love with it.
4:03So I'm sitting here thinking last week we were in these shoes.
4:07You had James Cook fall to you. I'm going to go for differentiation here.
4:11We have different running backs and you know what?
4:14This is going to be a shout out to you.
4:18Homage. It is going. Did we go chase Brown last week?
4:21We didn't go chase Brown. I'm going to go chase Brown.
4:25I'm going to take a stand. He's a player that you want.
4:29Pete, you've been hyping them up. There's this clump of running backs and it'll fall to you every time and you'll pick it every time.
4:37And in this instance, we have a little bit of diversification.
4:40Pete, you and I are going to do multiple of these drafts.
4:44So part of the thinking is we've already got a draft in hand where James Cook has been selected in round one.
4:51I'm going to run the thought experiment, push it to the 112 where they have to decide, do they want James Cook at the top of the queue?
5:00Do they want Justin Jefferson at the top of the queue?
5:04And I am thinking of going very contrarian here for a player that will not come back to me.
5:10Can you think of a receiver who will not come back to me, Pete?
5:15Oh, man. I'm going to say Malik Neighbors or A.J.
5:18Brown. Those are the two guys that I would be thinking that you might be considering not coming back to.
5:24Because A.J. Brown's really been pushing up into drafts.
5:27You know, he's kind of like that early to mid round two.
5:31And now Malik Neighbors is starting to kind of push up as well.
5:35All right. So the player that I have in mind, Pete, is Emeka Abuka.
5:40Is this too crazy or is it a stand where he's not going to come back to me?
5:46What do you think? I think Abuka will come back to you.
5:50But if you're going for direct differentiation, I don't hate it.
5:53All right. That's all I needed. And I took it personally.
5:57I'm going to go with Emeka Abuka. F all you hoes in this draft room because I don't think he comes back to me early round three.
6:06And this is going to be a ripple effect because there's going to be other value that falls to me in round three.
6:13At the third round reversal. But I don't think I'll be able to get the multiple players in that pocket.
6:19So I think I'm doing a little bit of an inception thing here.
6:24And we shall see. I'm all about some Justin Jefferson who's still on the board recovering, having a great season.
6:30A.J. Brown, as we spoke to, that's pretty chalk.
6:33So I'm going to go a little bit of a differentiated build.
6:37And I force this person to finally take James Cook.
6:40They go JT and James Cook. Going back to my picks, I mentioned to you, Pete, hey, I'm going to go maybe wide receiver, wide receiver here.
6:49And you said, hey, we could try it. But I like the fact of you come away with a running back.
6:56You come away with a receiver. It's two running back.
6:59It's three receivers. I love it, man. So I love that we went one and one.
7:04Yeah, I do too. I don't hate it, right?
7:07I like Igbuka. I think in these, you have to understand that when we draft so many teams, you're going for differentiation,
7:14especially if you're trying to cash in pretty big.
7:17Last year, I did it with Christian McCaffrey in the Flex 6 draft on Fast Draft, right?
7:23And I ended up with the number three ranked team at the end of the season.
7:28And I was taking McCaffrey very, very early in drafts, early on in the process.
7:33You know, and then his kind of ADP fluctuated, was in the second round.
7:37Sometimes I would still draft him early on in the first just because teams weren't doing it.
7:43And because the ADP was scrambled around and was going to change, I ended up making moves like that.
7:49And it ended up paying off for me. I do want to note about Chase Brown since we did talk about him a little bit.
7:57There was some reports today from Charlie Clifford of NBC5 that Brown has actually been taking some reps out wide at practice.
8:04So, I mean, I have enlisted for 90 targets this year, Jeremiah.
8:08I feel pretty confident and comfortable about that. I think that is what I expect, right?
8:13Not a ton has changed in Cincinnati with the offense.
8:16Switching to Emeka Abuka, right? Do you have any concerns with the other pass catchers around him, right?
8:22Chris Godwin coming back, right? We know he's a target hog.
8:26Jalen McMillan has looked really good when healthy. Ted Hurst looks like he's going to fit in very well at this X receiver role.
8:34And then you still have Tez Johnson, who's kind of a wild card.
8:38You have a very capable running back in Kenneth Gainwell who can catch passes in addition to that.
8:44What are your thoughts when it comes to Agbuka and just all the target competition that he has?
8:49And how do you see him kind of, I guess, overcoming that and being able to pay off at that kind of price?
8:57Well, essentially, I see him and we've done another show with yourself, Wyatt and me, where I said I'm calling my shot.
9:04And we did round four ADP at the time.
9:07Agbuka is a little bit higher here in ADP now where he's a round one player next year.
9:13So I see him as a round one player.
9:16And we saw a highlight today. Ted Hurst, absolutely balling out.
9:19You love to see it for him because you had Agbuka, Jalen McMillan, who are out.
9:24Chris Godwin all had a maintenance day. So it was good to see Ted Hurst ball out.
9:30I can't sit there and play the Fear Street game narrative.
9:34I just have to bet like I'm right. And I'm hearing other sharper gamers.
9:38Like when I hear Theo Gremminger talking about Mecca of Uka, like we had that show.
9:43And then I, oh shit, I just got sniped so good on Malik Neighbors.
9:48Hold that up. Great pick by that person. I was going to go for Malik Neighbors.
9:53Now, should I go Brees Hall, Zay Flowers or George Pickens?
9:57What do you like? I like Pickens a lot.
9:59I prefer Pickens. I have him ranked as a top 22 wide receiver, just player in terms of points per game.
10:06So I don't mind getting a slight discount here at 26 for him.
10:10Beautiful. You love to see it. And you can tell a narrative that while you're disappointed that I got sniped on Malik Neighbors.
10:18What a sharp board. You love to see it because they're probably like, man, this MF went out and took Emeka and Uka.
10:25So I better get somebody like Malik Neighbors. So shout out to Team 12 there.
10:30I've seen. Yeah, I'm a little. I'm a little.
10:33Team 12, though. I'm curious what your thoughts are on the Drake London pick at the 1-2 turn.
10:39I'm not crazy about London this year at that kind of price tag.
10:43I'm not crazy about that. Would you take London that high ever in drafts for you?
10:48Or are you kind of like me where you're a little bit standoffish at his price tag?
10:54Well, the patch of maybe Ashton Janty, sometimes Chase Brown, all through Saquon Barkley, all those running backs who go at the
11:01clump of late round one, early round two. It's very difficult to push and throw in Drake London.
11:07So sometimes unless you land dead into the middle of round two, you're not always getting Drake London.
11:13So I appreciate and respect kind of the ripple effect of what Team 12 did with getting Drake London.
11:19And in my opinion, Malik Neighbors, that's a round one player.
11:22So they have three round one players in their mind.
11:26But getting Malik Neighbors in round three, absolute value.
11:29The cope that I'm going to say to myself is I've seen other drafters in this format in NFFCP go and get
11:36Malik Neighbors in round four in just later parts of the draft where he should go.
11:41So the price is creeping up. So maybe they don't have the differentiation versus the field, the bargain bin discount.
11:47But had he fell to me, I would have felt amazing and told you the exact same narrative.
11:53I got three round one players in Brown, Abuka and Malik Neighbors.
11:57But so be it. It is George Pickens. Yeah, fair enough.
12:01Flowers goes off the board here at the mid third round.
12:04Devonta Smith goes just a spot ahead of him.
12:07Smith's dealing with that hamstring injury. So we'll see if that ends up affecting him.
12:12And, you know, he's been out of practice the last few days.
12:16Uh, I'm, I'm high on flowers this year. I have flowers ahead of Smith.
12:20Uh, if it wasn't going to be George Pickens, I would have taken Zay Flowers if Pickens went off the board, uh, in front of us as well.
12:29I still, of course, would have taken Neighbors. I mean, we took Neighbors at the, at the one, two turn at the two, two last week.
12:38Uh, actually, no, wait a minute. I think we took Neighbors at the three.
12:42Yeah, we took Neighbors at the, yeah. Neighbors fell to us at the three Oh two.
12:48Um, which was, was, was pretty sweet. Uh, but yeah, I mean, running back still not going super heavy here though.
12:54Javante, I'm a fan of Javante. I don't know that I would have taken him this high, uh, in this format, uh, with who's on the board.
13:03Why don't you tell us a little bit about who is left on the board, uh, at some of these respective positions.
13:10So you still have Josh Allen. The first quarterback has not gone out Ted Arroa McMillan and Garrett Wilson at the receiver
13:17position, lad McConkey at the running back position. Kyron Josh Jacobs, Travis Etienne.
13:22You also have Jalen Waddle, Luther Byrd and Terry McLaurin.
13:25It'll be interesting to see what receivers come back to us.
13:28Pete, it might be in that clump of Jamison Williams, Devante Adams, Mike Evans.
13:33So it'll be interesting to see who falls DJ more.
13:36What's your stance on somebody like DJ more? If he comes back to me, is he somebody that I should gravitate towards
13:43or is that something I should be more tied to somebody like Josh Allen, which probably won't happen at this stage of the draft for me?
13:52Yeah. I mean, if Allen were to fall that, uh, that far back to you, I feel like you kind of have
13:59to, you kind of have to take him. Um, so I would, I would certainly be fine with taking Allen and obviously he goes right there.
14:07I didn't expect him to fall that far. I do want to note though, there's a couple of listeners in that are playing with us.
14:15So we appreciate that. Uh, Michael's in the house.
14:18Michael, let us know what spot you're drafting in, man.
14:22Uh, he said third round reversal is a long wait.
14:25Glad to hear, uh, boys. Yep. Definitely. Uh, I liked the third round reversal format though, Jeremiah.
14:30I think it's, it's nice. It creates some balance.
14:33Uh, and we've liked it too. I, I, I prefer being at the back end of the first round.
14:39If I'm not going to be in the first one, two or three spots.
14:44Um, I want to be right at the back.
14:47Uh, I don't want to be stuck in the middle in, in, in, in even non third round reversal formats.
14:53I just really prefer the ends on both sides this year.
14:57Well, the beautiful thing about that is you get two opportunities where something falls to you at the one 11, the position
15:04that we're in, and then something falls to you in the value in early round three.
15:09So you have opportunity for the board to present value to you twice.
15:13And I think if you're sharp on that, it can present just an excellent play for you.
15:19Uh, so, so far chase Brown and Mecca, Buka, George Pickens, I don't feel pressure to go running back or receiver, but
15:26the beauty is I feel like I can come away with one of each in this pocket of the draft.
15:33I don't necessarily feel pressure on the quarterback front.
15:35I don't think there's a squeeze yet. We only have one through almost four rounds.
15:40Yeah. Kyron Williams goes off the board here, uh, at the, uh, at the four, four Oh five spot.
15:47Uh, Kyron's kind of been slipping a little bit.
15:49Now I'm not upset about it. Uh, you know, I'm looking to hear at my rankings and Kyron Williams, I have ranked at 43.
15:57Uh, he's the 32 and ADP over the last few weeks.
16:01So, uh, you're talking about getting him here, Jeremiah, he goes off the board, uh, in the forties, uh, 41, that feels
16:08like a much more palatable price tag. Again, I haven't ranked as my 43rd ranked player.
16:13So I actually wouldn't have minded taking Kyron if he came back to us, but I doubt he was going to come
16:20all the way back down to 47. Uh, you're sitting here with two wide receivers.
16:25Do you see anybody or, you know, obviously we assume that there's a chance that there are people drafting with us, you know, in the live stream.
16:34So don't want to give too much out. Um, but you know, what are your thoughts on what's left?
16:40Tell us again, who are some of the running backs that are available?
16:44Let's name a couple. Well, there's one player that goes Terry McLaurin.
16:48You've got players who are in consideration. It's Luther Burden as Jamison Williams, uh, Bucky Irving, Quinchon Judkins, who are here at
16:55the top of the board, David Montgomery. Um, and then there was a consideration if I could get the stack with Terry
17:02McLaurin for Jane Daniels, but that seems to have sailed.
17:06So in about three picks now, I think it's just going to be a positional allotment of those skilled position players.
17:12I don't feel temptation to dive into the tight end bin.
17:16We see Josh Jacobs go. So I'm two picks away.
17:19Do you think I should go anywhere towards a tight end?
17:23Tyler Warren is on the board, but I just kind of think we can continue to mine value.
17:29Yeah, I think he continued to swing for, for some value unless as a player, uh, that you really, really do like.
17:36Um, I, I, uh, you know, Josh Jacobs is interesting.
17:39I have Josh Jacobs as, you know, as a top 25, 26 players.
17:43So, um, I don't know why his price tag is still so low.
17:47The market doesn't want to come up on him, Jeremiah.
17:51He's going off the board here at 45. Uh, so that's interesting.
17:55Uh, but yeah, you're up here in two spots.
17:57I would continue to keep playing for value. Josh Jacobs is a great value though.
18:02Bucky Irving is interested. Jamison Williams goes off the board right in front of you.
18:07So we'll see who you pick as you're making that pick.
18:11Um, but I do want to talk about Bucky Irving.
18:14Once you're done making this pick, just walk us through what you're looking at here with 40 seconds on the clock and,
18:21uh, and who you're going to go with. Well, it's funny enough.
18:25I like getting some Bucky Irving. I think we are just, it's a value that's going to go slipping through people's hands.
18:32And it's a value that you need to take at this part of the draft.
18:37And I don't mind going with some Bucky Irving granted the person at the one 12 could be listening to us.
18:44So I'm going to let you talk about Bucky Irving while I click him and I'll see about the wraparound pick.
18:51Yeah. Bucky Irving is a guy that I have had some concerns about, but I do want to, I do want to move him up in my rankings.
19:00I had him at 65, uh, but through some reports, right.
19:03He's practicing in full. Um, and it sounds like they're working in a lot of, uh, Bucky and gain well on the field at the same time.
19:12Um, now I still have some concerns with Bucky because of, you know, the, the, uh, you know, the possibility of being vultured at the goal line.
19:21Plus his, his, it kind of reminds me a little bit of Bayshall Tootin in a way where Bayshall Tootin's got to
19:28deal with Chris Rodriguez vulturing touchdown at the goal line, AKA Sean Tucker.
19:32Right. And then Kenneth gain well is kind of, you know, better than that.
19:37Like, you know, uh, uh, uh, Lequit Allen type, right.
19:40Who's going to also take some touches in the receiving game, but I don't know.
19:45Bucky Irving is also a much better talent in my opinion, and we've seen him do it.
19:50So, uh, I think it's at this point, Bucky's ADP, uh, is still kind of falling and it's becoming where he's really a value.
19:58Now, BTJ and Marvin Harrison go off the board right after you on the turn.
20:03Uh, so you're sitting here, you know, you got chase Brown, Amika Agbuka, Pickens, Bucky, um, you know, what are your, what
20:10are your thinking here at the 50th pick overall?
20:13So in my mind, I've got two backs. I want to go with a receiver at this point.
20:19It's Luther Burden versus Parker Washington. I want to come away with Parker Washington.
20:23I kind of feel like the person gave me a gift going BTJ there.
20:28I thought at the double tap, they could have gone Parker Washington and I'm not going to ignore the signal.
20:34I think he can end up being the number one wide receiver in this offense.
20:39And this is a player who is ascending. I've heard people talk about, Hey, remember, you know, they were describing basically Antonio
20:46Brown, the ascension that Antonio Brown had. And I know shout out to the pod father.
20:51He's all talking about, Hey, this is Jerry Rice here with Parker Washington.
20:56And with Luther Burden, do you want some bears?
20:59You want some pieces, but between Roma Dunes, a Luther Burden, Colson Loveland, I can see third in the pecking order for
21:06Burden and it wouldn't be a problem, but it wouldn't be maybe the ceiling.
21:10So, and there he goes very next pick. So hat tip to that person at the one 10, but I'm going to go Parker Washington.
21:18I think one, he wasn't going to come back to me, Pete.
21:22Now I've got a three, two stack on receivers.
21:25And I was talking to Shev last night. We were doing a mock where he got in round six.
21:31He was able to get Parker Washington. This, you have to pay up just a little bit round six.
21:37He got Parker Washington. I thought, Hey, the rest of your team, that's a glue pick.
21:43So to me, Parker Washington is a glue pick where if he ascends up in ADP, he's really elevating this team and the squad that we're putting together.
21:52Yeah. And I, I do like having the players you have here specifically in this, this combination, right?
21:58You have a Buka pickings Parker. You have the ability to, you know, really get a quarterback to match up with them
22:05pretty easily and, and some good quarterbacks, right? You have a chance of saying, all right, you know, if you miss out
22:12on some of these guys, you can take Baker and stack Buka with Bucky with Baker, or you take your shot on
22:19Trevor Lawrence with Parker and maybe grab Bretton strange later.
22:22Maybe even like a late pick on Travis Hunter, if you wanted to chase some upside on a cheap pick.
22:29And then you obviously have George pickings with Dak, right?
22:32And you can also go that way and maybe build him up with, with Ferguson.
22:37And in these kinds of formats, right? We're looking for ways to kind of create avenues for us, right?
22:43Like, you know, it's kind of like the old saying, right?
22:46The more keys you have, the more doors that you can open, right?
22:51In life. And same here with best ball and same here in this format, right?
22:56The more keys you have, the more lineups and stacks you can build.
23:00And you've kind of set yourself up for the ability to go a couple of different directions, depending on how the board falls to you.
23:08And I love it. And you see team three, I got to think they're going to go Joe Burrow, either this pick or the wraparound.
23:16They've got Jamar Chase, T Higgins round one and round three, respectively.
23:20And of course, they also have an out for options.
23:23Talk about unlocking keys. They have an option for somebody like Bo Nix with Jalen Waddle.
23:28So I'll be interested to see on this five, six turn, if they force Burrow or, you know, on the quarterback side,
23:35we still have Lamar Jackson out there. But in ADP, Joe Burrow is just a little bit ahead of Lamar.
23:42Let's talk about that, Pete. Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow.
23:45Why would Joe Burrow be more wanted, desirable in this format?
23:48It's every 20 yards, you get a point. So that's five points for every 100 passing yards versus four in a traditional 25 yard league.
23:56And then the Konami code, it's six point passing touchdown.
24:00And it equalizes a little bit. So I think for the audience, Pete, that's why Joe Burrow is a little bit ahead in ADP.
24:07And the rushing Konami, while it's good, it's not as advantageous as in some other leagues.
24:13Yeah. And you're seeing a lot of quarterbacks being pushed down.
24:16I mean, we got a great value on Lamar.
24:19You know, last time we drafted right now, it's still only Josh Allen.
24:23And it's it's sometimes you just see a run happen, right?
24:27Where eventually the dam breaks and you're going to see three, four of these quarterbacks go.
24:32It's going to be Lamar. It's going to be Daniels.
24:35It's going to be Burrow, maybe a guy like Drake May.
24:39You know, we we saw Drake May second quarterback off the board.
24:43And then we saw Jalen Hurts go to that same team in the next round.
24:48And that was like, you know, that was like round five and six last week.
24:53So I'm expecting quarterbacks to come here. But you make a good point, right?
24:57Like the six points for passing touchdowns really kind of evens out the rushing upside for quarterbacks.
25:03And when you have that, you know, in such a flat year with quarterbacks, where there's not a ton of differentiation because there's just so much opportunity.
25:11You look at Matthew Stafford last year was a top quarterback.
25:15You look at Drake May came out of nowhere, was a good quarter was a top quarterback.
25:20Bo Nix, Trevor, Trevor Lawrence was a top five quarterback in points per game.
25:25Brock Purdy was up there top five points per game.
25:28So like you saw a lot of quarterbacks that were cheap and they ended up paying off.
25:34So I love the idea of just like letting the board fall to you.
25:38And if there's some value at quarterback, you scoop it up.
25:42But it'll be interesting. Burrow does go off the board.
25:45You did mention it, right? Is it going to be next later to stack with Waddle or do they just go Burrow,
25:52you know, with T Higgins and Chase? They opted for the stack of the three players.
25:57And then we see the quarterback run happen immediately after I'm saying this, right?
26:02You get Joe Burrow, then Jardarian Price and Drake May, Lamar Jackson.
26:06Right. That's that's kind of that's that's kind of what we were talking about and expecting.
26:11So the Drake May owner gets A.J. Brown to stack with them.
26:15And you have Lamar Jackson owner who gets A.
26:18Flowers to stack with him. So kind of unfolding how we expect it.
26:22And some players who are at the top of the queue, Jordan Tyson is somebody I had queued up.
26:28Not that he would have made it to me per se, but not not so many picks away.
26:34We got Tyler Warren, Jaden Daniels in the queue, R.J.
26:37Harvey, Trevor Lawrence for stacking. Makai Lemon. Dak Prescott's also out there for stacking as well.
26:42Rico Dowdle, Blake Corum. Any of those names appealing to you, Pete?
26:46Yeah, I mean, the guy that I keep talking about has been Rico for me.
26:51I was very high on Blake Corum earlier this year and we've talked about it.
26:56I still think from a dynasty perspective, he's a he's he's going to be a guy that we we expect to rise.
27:03But I'm not really in on his price tag too much, J.
27:07I mean, what's his current ADP right now for Blake Corum in this format?
27:12Well, let's see. It goes Rico Dowdle back to back 94 to 95 on Blake Corum.
27:17Do you like Corum more or less? There for me for a second, but Corum's price is dropping slightly.
27:23So I'm not I'm not upset at like pick 90 ish in that area.
27:27I still prefer Rico. Obviously, Corum has that upside if Kyron gets hurt.
27:32But I still would prefer Rico. I have Rico ranked inside my top 60 for the running back for, you know, total all players.
27:39So I'm a big fan of Rico. You might be able to get him on the way back in round eight.
27:46Jonathan Brooks is interesting too. He's really been rising a lot in these formats.
27:51I don't know that you're going to get Rico or Jonathan Brooks after the turn here.
27:56So if you're looking for running back, I would go that way.
28:00You could also maybe go with a Trevor Lawrence stack with Parker if you want to go up and get him.
28:07But I don't know that I would reach because, again, you have you have three avenues at the quarterback position that you can really just kind of wait.
28:16So there's a lot you can do here. But tell us what do you I mean, you got the players in front of you.
28:23What do you think? Yep. I'm leaning towards Makai Lemon right here.
28:27I'm going to take him and just boost the receiving room.
28:31And like you said, I don't have pressure at the quarterback.
28:34This person could take a stacked Trevor Lawrence with BTJ.
28:38And Trevor Lawrence, if he comes back to me, Pete, do you think I should take him or do you think I should just wait down the board?
28:47Because I have opportunity for, you know, pick in.
28:50So I got Baker later I could get. Well, I mean, the good news is that a lot of these players in
28:57front of you now have taken quarterbacks. Right. So, you know, you're kind of in a point where you might be able to wait a little bit.
29:06The BTJ owners behind you. So unless somebody wants an unstacked Trevor, I would rather just wait because you have options.
29:12One thing, Jonathan Brooks goes right after your pick of Makai Lemon as we as we said it.
29:18So that's that's kind of funny that happened. Then you have Ibuka and Lemon both on by same time week 10.
29:25Something to note there as we start to build this out.
29:29Kind of consider. But yeah, I would wait on Lawrence.
29:32But if you want him, go get him. All right.
29:35So I went with Jordan Addison. My thought being I've got five receivers.
29:39I'm stacking the deck. Well, of I'm of mine like you.
29:43I want to get running back stabs as we continue, especially on that back half of the draft beyond round 15.
29:50I want to go for the run on receivers before it runs out.
29:54So what do you think of that, Pete? With I go Makai Lemon, I go Jordan Addison, and I open up an option.
30:01Look, I lose Dak Prescott. There could be a quarterback run here.
30:05But for a stacking partner, I may. I open the door and a key to the possibility of somebody like a Kyler Murray in a bounce back season.
30:14Yeah, no, I think that's good. That's a good way to look at it, too.
30:19Weirdly enough, Jalen Hurts also is a possibility, right?
30:22I mean, you could you could potentially get him.
30:25I don't expect Hurts to come back to you, but we'll see how that plays out.
30:30So, yeah, I think you're in a good spot, though.
30:33Addison there, not a bad call to go there and continue to kind of build up this wide receiver room.
30:40Yeah, and Lemon, Devonta, I think Lemon's missing practice more from a precaution standpoint because Devonta's now down, too.
30:46So we'll have to obviously continue to monitor that.
30:49But so far, so good. I like what you've got going on.
30:53And I think you can, again, maybe get Trevor Lawrence on the way back.
30:57And if not, you can shoot for Baker. Maybe go with a Baker-Kyler kind of stack as well.
31:03Yeah, I like where your head's at. I think that would be just a way to cap the stacks and take what the board gives me.
31:12There goes Trevor Lawrence. Not married to the outcome of having him as my quarterback one, but don't hate it either.
31:18It is interesting, though, that this person goes. Who do you think that they could be pairing with?
31:24Would it be a Brenton Strange later that opens up their level?
31:28Because there's no stacking power with that team, with Team 6, with Trevor Lawrence.
31:33But they do have Lamar and Zay Flower. So hat tip to them.
31:37Getting Round 6 Lamar Jackson, I think, is just a great value.
31:41It is. And I did want to make a note.
31:44You know, once I saw that, I was a little confused.
31:48I mean, maybe they go Jacoby Myers, right, and you can get, like, cheap stacks later.
31:53But not what I would have done. But that's one of those things where it's a luxury pick, and you start taking two quarterbacks this high.
32:01I don't really love the process. But everybody's got a different way of how they're doing things.
32:07It's just not how I would have done it.
32:10But I do want to say we'll take a quick break, and then we'll come back.
32:15Jeremiah will read off his team, and we'll let you know who's been picked so far.
32:20We're going to take a quick break. The NFFC, my favorite high-stakes fantasy platform.
32:25Why? Third-round reversal. Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation. So it's a lottery-based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft.
32:33It's full PPR. There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
32:38And now they've combined with the FFWC, they have a lot more contests to offer.
32:43In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC primetime.
32:48And if you win that, $300,000. You can also join the Circo World Championship, and that's $200,000.
32:54You win both. You win a million dollars. So go to playnffc.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes you can use.
33:03First time 100 to get $100 when you sign up.
33:06But also, every time you sign up for a new contest, we give you codes to use to get discounts on those entry fees as well.
33:14Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
33:19And you love it. We're back here. I'm at the 111, Pete.
33:23I got Chase Brown. Emeka Abuka at the wraparound.
33:25Still a live stack with Baker Mayfield. It's out there.
33:29George Pickens. Dak Prescott did go. Bucky Irving. Again, some Tampa share.
33:33But he's my second running back. I feel really great about my two running backs.
33:37I don't feel pressure. Parker Washington. I think is at a tremendous value in round five.
33:43Makai Lemon getting a lot of great reports. I feel like he's being hidden, but he can't be hidden in Philadelphia.
33:49I think he's just going to stick out like a sore thumb in the fact that he's going to ball out this year.
33:57Then Jordan Addison. I predict to Pete he's going to get his first thousand yard receiving season.
34:02I have an open stack there with Kyler Murray.
34:05Jalen Hurts goes. So that's one less cross off for my stack share.
34:10But then again, all these other teams have quarterbacks.
34:12I think it should allow for me to get some form of a stack with what I have here.
34:19What do you think? Yeah, I think so, too.
34:22Hurts is an interesting pick. The team one feels like a team that's kind of just taking players they like and not really going super hard for stacks.
34:31Again, stacks are not everything, right? I don't love to reach for stacks, Jeremiah.
34:35But I do know that and we know that they are important to a degree when you're shooting for upside in those later weeks.
34:43The nice thing is you're also not playing on some other sites where you're put in a pod.
34:49And so, you know, it's it is cumulative, you know, the full 17 weeks.
34:53So that does help. Right. But in terms of what we have left, every team besides the guy behind you has a quarterback now.
35:01So you got to assume that quarterback is going to probably start drying up a little bit.
35:07But also there's a chance that some of these teams say, OK, well, you know, I've got my guy.
35:13I can now wait a little bit on on the quarterback position.
35:17So, you know, you could maybe take Baker, but I can't really see anybody taking Baker, you know, before your pick or after.
35:24So you might be able to squeeze him in at that time.
35:28But I don't know how much you want to push it and take that risk.
35:33So what are you thinking? Is Baker a guy that you want to take?
35:37I mean, it is somewhat of a reach at pick 95 because of his ADP.
35:42But in a situation like this where you're running a little bit out of options here with stacks, with some of these
35:49quarterbacks off the board, you might want to just secure your guy and go get him.
35:55Well, it's a matter of I call it a 20 gap.
35:58Essentially, when you're about 20 picks away and you're on one end of the board, you have just a Rolodex.
36:05If you scroll of all the players who they might not come back to you, like when I went Emeka Obuka, he
36:12was not going to come back to me. So in my mind, I was like, hey, F this.
36:18I'm going to go get him. So part of that mentality could be you're not reaching as far as you think you are in ADP.
36:26If on that 20 gap, when you come back, you have a risk that that player isn't going to come back to you.
36:33So I'm inclined if I need to quote unquote reach at either end, depending on where you are.
36:39I think that's part of what you have to do.
36:42Sometimes if you're in the middle of the draft, I feel like you have to almost pick BPA, just best player available
36:49and structure your team as much as you can.
36:52Because you're so far away from controlling the board that you have to kind of take what's there.
36:58Whereas if you double tap at the ends, you can get some leverage and just kind of slide the slot machine just
37:05a little bit further to your advantage. Where some people might say it could be a reach, but you get a little
37:12bit of control of your team build. Yeah, honestly, too, I don't really worry too much about reaching in these drafts.
37:19Like ADP matters somewhat, right, Jeremiah? If you're like sitting here saying, well, maybe I can wait and squeeze a little bit more time.
37:27But at the end of the day, even if you jump up and go grab a guy 15, 20 spots ahead of
37:34ADP, if you're looking at the board and you're nervous and you really like a guy and you think you should value
37:41it higher than where he's at, I think you just go ahead and take him.
37:46Chris Godwin goes off the board to team seven there, which is kind of a bummer because it could have been nice, right?
37:53If you did go that Baker route, you could have maybe stacked and took both of those guys at the next two picks.
38:01So a little bit of a bummer. I do got to say, man, Sam Laporta slipping back here this far, kind of a head scratcher.
38:09I really, really don't understand the market on where Sam Laporta is going.
38:13Pick 92 on the board, Jeremiah. I have him ranked inside my top five for tight ends.
38:19I have him ranked, you know, well 20 spots ahead of this.
38:23So it's a great value there for team number eight.
38:26You're up here at pick 11. I do want to give a shout out to the chat while you're making your pick
38:33and then tell us what your thoughts are. Fantasy Savvy in the chat.
38:37Steve, what's up, man? He said good stuff. Pete, how many defenses are you grabbing in these?
38:43Typically two. Typically two, right, Jeremiah? I mean, we could go three, but I mean, we don't try to push it unless
38:50it's just like a really, really nice defense that maybe you're mixing in like a defense with a great playoff schedule.
38:57Jeremiah, what are you thinking? Oh, so you do go Baker Mayfield.
39:01Okay, so we do do that. So we lock him in.
39:04And then team 12, I mean, they're the only team now left on the board without a quarterback.
39:10And they go, they get their first tight end in Jake Ferguson.
39:14So I like that play there. Here's a question.
39:17And depending on who gets. Okay, cool. They went dark.
39:20Normally I go dark before, but because I have some stack share and there's that passing element.
39:25Baker Mayfield isn't so bad or sacrilegious to go ahead of dark who has the rushing advantage.
39:31Team build wise. Do I lean and go Casey Concepcion?
39:34Or should I go Kyler Murray stack with Jordan Addison?
39:37And I'm pressure off at the quarterback position. I don't know.
39:41I don't know. You could go Kyler. Are there any other stacks?
39:45I mean, I'm looking at your team here. Do you ever look at maybe a tight end that you like later on
39:52and you say to yourself, maybe I can just get a quick, easy, cheap stack there, like a Rodgers and Fry and Ruth later on kind of thing?
40:01I mean, you don't want that to be a main stack, Jeremiah.
40:05But I don't know. Well, there you go. You take Kyler.
40:09And that's fine. Kyler, crazy enough. I mean, Kyler Murray's been a top 10 fantasy quarterback in points per game every year that he's been a starter.
40:17So are you worried that he's not going to be a starter for the full season?
40:22I mean, I know they're really making it a true camp battle, allegedly, but I just don't see it for JJ.
40:29Part of this game theory is I'm betting like I'm right.
40:33And instead of going a six wide receiver, which Concepcion, I absolutely love him.
40:37And I could have added him into the Shador Watson kind of stack share.
40:42And that was an option for us last week when you went out and got Casey Concepcion.
40:47But I'm going to bet like I'm right. So like another wide receiver in Casey Concepcion at this point in round nine is almost like betting against myself.
40:57So the fact that I have Addison, I've got a unique stack share to a degree.
41:02It's not like the most uncommon or common stack out there.
41:05But I'd say it's a little bit more in the middle where it's somewhat unique and not going to be the chalk.
41:12Let's just say. Addison Murray is a fun one.
41:15And I got Ibuka, Baker Mayfield. Now I feel so much pressure off me.
41:20If I go inclined towards a third quarterback, Pete, I'm trying to recall if we had three quarterbacks last week.
41:26But if I go third quarterback, it might be even like an upside player like a Mac Jones.
41:32It might be a Jalen Milrow. It could be a late Deshaun Watson, Anthony Richardson.
41:37It doesn't have to be somebody who's going to automatically fill.
41:41So I have faith in round eight and round nine with Mayfield and Murray.
41:45And another thing to speak to why I went with both quarterbacks and just to set it is the fact that in
41:52kind of all formats, we see this run between round six and round 10 where quarterbacks just go.
41:58People look at all the green and yellow in the top five rounds, Pete.
42:03There's so much of it. People get comfortable with their teams and they start backstacking it with the quarterback.
42:09So we see the quarterback start to run. So that's where I feel very good aligning.
42:14I'm getting out of people's way. I'm not getting in the way of somebody who's got Terry McLaurin.
42:20You know, I didn't do that with Jane Daniels.
42:23I didn't get in the way of the Jamar Chase T Higgins person and just go with a naked Joe Burrow.
42:30So part of that is theory of I'm getting out of my way, getting what I want.
42:35And of course, they're happy to get what they need.
42:38So sometimes it's optimal or suboptimal. Like how do you play it, Pete?
42:42Do you ever look at other teams and say, hey, we're getting out of each other's way and I'm happy to go
42:50down my lane and see who can speed up the fastest?
42:53Yeah, sometimes. Sometimes it's it really depends on the feel for everything.
42:57It's almost like like playing nice in a way, so to speak.
43:01I do want to mention Blake Corum goes off the board.
43:05We talked about Rico Dowdle before. And so Rico still not off the board, right?
43:09We're coming up on 106 gain. Well, Blake Corum.
43:12Um, so part of that is if you've been paying attention, uh, you know, Rico was splitting first team reps with Jalen
43:19Warren and then Jalen Warren just got, uh, listed first on the depth chart over Rico Dowdle, which I'm not overly concerned.
43:27I mean, he's the incumbent Jeremiah, uh, but he is splitting reps.
43:30I've heard multiple reports kind of mixed between, you know, Jalen's taken most of the first team reps.
43:36Oh, it's Rico, uh, back and forth. So, I mean, getting a massive discount on Rico, uh, for, for, you know, where he was going.
43:44I mean, we're talking about round 10, uh, you know, coming up on 107, 108 and Rico's still on the board.
43:51Uh, it's a, it's a really nice value, Jeremiah.
43:54What do you, what do you think about Rico?
43:57Has your mind changed on him? I mean, I know I was very high on him when we last talked about him,
44:04but has your thoughts changed on him at all with the recent buzz around camp and Rico goes off the board at two.
44:12I love that to team two. Yeah. I'm all about Rico Dowdle this year.
44:16So I think he's a tremendous pick, tremendous value.
44:19I think he gets 1250 to 1300 yards. There goes JK Dobbins.
44:23Great pick Tony, the tiger at the one-on-one RJ Harvey.
44:26Funny enough, these Denver Broncos backs go, you know, way soon.
44:30So you love to see it there. Skill set archetype different, but I think value in the Broncos backfield is huge.
44:37Look, it's like a Denver Broncos show right now.
44:39Bo Nix got three Broncos in a row. Tyler shock breaks the streak.
44:44You love to see it. It is crazy. Harvey has typically gone ahead of JK Dobbins and he goes behind JK here in round 10 too.
44:52So Harvey, another guy that may be slipping a little bit in public sentiment right now, because typically Harvey J has been
44:59going around like the nineties, you know, somewhere in that mid to late nineties.
45:04There were times he was going in the early eighties in this off season.
45:08Sometimes I think he was going in the seventies at one point.
45:12So he's kind of fallen a little bit here without much real news.
45:16And it's not like Dobbins kind of shot up the board, Jeremiah, either.
45:21Dobbins goes one spot ahead of him. And that's typically, this is the range that JK Dobbins has gone.
45:27JK has actually gone a little bit higher than this in many such cases.
45:31So it's kind of interesting to see Harvey fall this far and Dobbins go ahead of him and it not be much
45:38of a, an inverse where Dobbins goes, you know, gets pushed up the board at all.
45:44So that one's kind of interesting to me there too.
45:47You have Matthew gold, Matthew golden, you have Jordan Mason quarterback run did happen, Jeremiah.
45:52So it's a good thing that you did land Kyler and Baker because Brock Purdy, Jared Goff, Bo Nix, Tyler Shuck, all
45:59those guys go off the board and you had no stacking opportunity with your current players.
46:04Uh, you know, with those guys, uh, funny enough to the Sam Laporta owner did skip out on drafting Jared Goff.
46:11They took Purdy instead, which I guess with my Evans, they wanted to stack in that direction.
46:16Hey, you can't blame them there. And Hey, electrical substation be damned Pete.
46:21What do you make of all these 49ers players getting hurt?
46:24Do you buy into the electronic substation? Substation. I do think in some ways I do, uh, you know, George Kittle made
46:31a good point and he said, you know, it's kind of like working out.
46:36You have, you know, these different chambers, red lights, all these things.
46:40And, and you always say like, we're trying to get 1% better.
46:44If that thing that you're going to spend money on as a player gets you 1% better, you know, then you're stacking
46:51up this thing that gets you 1% better. Plus this thing, plus this thing.
46:55And then it starts to kind of snowball. Right.
46:58And it's same thing with the substation where it's like, Hey, even if the substation is giving you, making you 1% worse,
47:05uh, you know, possibly when it comes to like, whatever, you know, people are saying where it kind of breaks down.
47:12Like, uh, I don't know, something in the muscles, uh, you know, then there should be something to be looked at.
47:19Um, now it is crazy. I think I saw a report that said 20 49ers got injured in practice, uh, in just
47:26one day, uh, which is absolutely insane, Jeremiah. Uh, but I'm going to let you take the mic here because you take
47:33another Broncos player, uh, another running back. And, uh, it's Jonah Coleman in the same round that Harvey and Dobbins go off the board.
47:41Yeah, I'm loving this. And funny enough, the guy goes with your Corey cross camera.
47:46I was thinking of your Corey cross merit on the wraparound here because we're getting good buzz about him, but I F all these people.
47:54I want Jonah Coleman on, on so many teams, especially when I don't get JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey.
48:00If JK Dobbins comes back to me, I take him.
48:03He goes, well, now I'm going to take Jonah Coleman.
48:07So I am like magic Johnson, like he, he passing back.
48:10I'm getting these Broncos running backs all day and I'm not even thinking twice about it.
48:15So I'm really excited about this. And the next player, I talked about him a lot and I push him down the board.
48:23I'm going to go with Casey conception. I'm going to push tight end down the board, continue.
48:28And now it's my six wide receiver. I'm drafting hoopers.
48:31I'm drafting ballers. I come away with an upside cuff pick player.
48:35We're in round 10. I don't feel averse to risk here.
48:39I'm good. In a sense there we hear in your Broncos fan, Pete, Sean Payton is talking up Jonah Coleman as one of his biggest surprises.
48:47So I love him and you cannot get me to not come away from a draft anywhere, almost any time without Denver Broncos running back.
48:55And that includes RJ Harvey. Yeah, it's I've heard a lot of reports.
49:00Coleman, I haven't heard too much just from beat reporters of like what they're seeing in terms of like he's been impressive.
49:07I did hear early on in like OTAs and rookie minicamp that, you know, the utilization for Coleman was very bullish in how they were using him.
49:16So that was pretty encouraging. I have heard really nice reports about Harvey.
49:20He's being used as a receiver a ton and he's making a lot of plays in the receiving game.
49:26Interesting note for Harvey. He did injure his shoulder that he had offseason surgery on.
49:31He injured it in camp last year. So he was dealing with it all season.
49:36Dobbins as well. Interesting. He is allegedly just like the chippiest guy at practice.
49:40He's John and everybody. It seems like he's got a chip on his shoulder, which is nothing new for JK Dobbins.
49:47And to your point, right? Running backs get a lot of opportunity in this offense.
49:52You know, it's just a matter of like trying to find the right one, of course.
49:57But at the same time, this is an offensive has thrown the ball to the running back top five with Sean Payton,
50:04you know, in pretty much his entire career. So we know that there will be opportunities for the running backs.
50:11And in a best ball setting, Joe Coleman's a fine pick.
50:14I don't know that I would have taken Coleman that high, but that's also one of these situations where you're just getting your guy.
50:22You don't know if he's going to come back to you, Jay.
50:26Yes. And so I'm totally cool with that. I think the Casey conception pick is a phenomenal pick.
50:32That's the one I really am happy with because I have conception ranked inside my top 100, Jay.
50:38So you're getting him here, you know, inside in like the one twenties, which is really, really incredible value.
50:44I think because of that injury quote unquote, that he sustained and the Denzel Boston hype.
50:49He's kind of maybe, maybe falling a little bit down the board.
50:53Yeah. I love it, man. I'm so excited about Casey conception in 2026.
50:57We're getting highlights every day. It's Denzel Boston. It's Casey conception.
51:01And Hey, I open up the vein opportunity to be at store Sanders or Deshaun Watson.
51:06And Pete, who do you think we were in this position last week?
51:10We took conception somewhere around here. I think it was.
51:13And is it Shador Sanders or is it Deshaun Watson?
51:16I don't know, man. I mean, it's pretty crazy.
51:19It sounds like reports are that, that Shador's looked better or that Sanders.
51:24I mean, that, that Watson has just looked bad.
51:26So it's just making Shador look better. Um, I still prefer should, sorry.
51:31Yeah. I still prefer Watson, uh, just because I think that the investment is still heavy in him.
51:36And I do believe they're going to give him every chance to, to fail, uh, unless Sanders is just going to really,
51:44really have to blow them out of the water and just have a great preseason and in order to get a leg
51:51up or else I think it's just going to be Watson who gets the nod.
51:56Hey, while we're talking, we got 320 people on the stream.
51:59You'd love to see it. We're going to go to a break real quick and we'll come right back.
52:05The NFFC, my favorite high stakes fantasy platform. Why?
52:08Third round reversal, Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation. So it's a lottery based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft.
52:17It's full PPR. There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
52:23And now they've combined with the FFWC, they have a lot more contests to offer.
52:27In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC primetime.
52:32And if you win that 300 grand, you can also join the circle world championship.
52:37And that's 200 grand. You win both. You win a million dollars.
52:41So go to play NFFC.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes.
52:47You can use first time 100 to get a hundred bucks when you sign up.
52:52But also every time you sign up for a new contest, we give you codes to use to get discounts on those entry fees as well.
53:00Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
53:04All right. Breaking down these teams as we approach my pick in a couple here, Pete, is there anyone on the board?
53:11I know we've been central focus to the team that we've been drafting.
53:16Is there anyone on the board that you'd like to command and highlight where you kind of like their strategy and what they have going on?
53:24Yeah, I happen to I want to focus on team five for a second here.
53:29Team five gets gets Christian McCaffrey in the first round.
53:32They go AJ Brown, Trey McBride, Kyron Williams, Devante Adams.
53:35They get a little bit of a discount on Trey McBride, right?
53:39I mean, he fell all the way towards the late mid third round, which is good value.
53:45I haven't really liked clicking him at his current price tag.
53:48He also gets a discount on Kyron. Again, we talked about Kyron before.
53:53I'm right that 43 goes off the board at 41.
53:56So I think that's a fair value. He also gets Devante Adams, DK Metcalf, Pittman, worthy golden Woody Marks, Chris Rodriguez.
54:03And he sets himself up to pretty much he can go Aaron Rodgers to get a stack with those two Pittsburgh wide
54:10receivers who I think Pittsburgh is still a pretty undervalued, you know, an undervalued offense right now.
54:15And you also have the ability to go with Matthew Stafford, who at pick 140 is still on the board, Jeremiah.
54:22I'm sorry. I don't care. Stacks or no stacks, Jay.
54:25Sam Darnold, Jordan Love, Cam Ward. These guys should not be going ahead of Matthew Stafford regardless of stacks.
54:31So him still being there is a pretty incredible value.
54:35I pick 143. I mean, you have Baker, you have Kyler.
54:38You don't have anybody on the Rams. Would you consider just taking Stafford for the value or just saying, hey, you know what?
54:46I don't have a stack here. I have got two quarterbacks.
54:49Even though the value is there, I'm not really interested in drafting him.
54:54Would you go with him naked and hope to get a back stack later with somebody like Terrence Ferguson or would you
55:01be happy and fine with getting him naked, isolated by himself?
55:04I think he's a rare guy where you could easily still I'd still feel comfortable taking him naked.
55:10The only caveat I would have is with your situation, right?
55:14You have Chase Brown, Bucky and Jonah, right? Like, do you sit here?
55:18Is there a running back or two running backs possibly to double tap and just say, hey, is it running back position drying up?
55:26I can't see your side of it. So I don't know what players are left.
55:30But I would consider that and maybe not get glutton for a quarterback.
55:35But to answer your point in just a vacuum, yeah, I would be totally fine taking Stafford naked and just trying to push for those tight ends.
55:43So here, Podcast Pete, Dallas Cowboys kicker. Do we feel like that team kicker is an advantage here this part of the draft?
55:51Depends on what you think, what's available to you.
55:54I don't think it's a reach to go kicker in this format, especially with such a heavy advantage that Aubrey has.
56:01So I'm good with taking their team kicker if you want to go that route too.
56:06All right, I'm going to break the seal with the strategery for the fact that we have the team defense guru.
56:13I know I don't need the Broncos or the Rams per se as we're going through this draft.
56:18I know you can coach up some maybe a Sonoran Saints or kind of like a middle thing Cincinnati Bengals in some part.
56:26So did you say the Jets have a good schedule as well?
56:30Jets have a decent, have a decent schedule, especially in the playoffs.
56:34Colts are kind of interesting as well. They have a good, a really just soft schedule this year.
56:39And the Saints, the Saints have one of the best schedules overall and their playoff schedule is very, very attractive.
56:46And they don't even go inside the top 10 for defenses.
56:50Now, Pete, leverage at tight end. Tight ends on the board.
56:53We have Mark Andrews, Bretton Strange, who I really like.
56:56TJ Hawkinson is going to be available much later.
56:59So at the top, it's Mandrews, Bretton Strange versus running backs at the top, Algier, Dylan Sampson, Isaiah Pacheco, Emmitt Johnson, Charbonnet.
57:06What would you, which direction would you go? So it's, it's tough.
57:10So you said Pacheco, Charbonnet, and who was the other one?
57:14Tyler Algier. Yeah. I mean, if it's Tyler Algier or Pacheco, I would prefer Pacheco just because I think the upside is higher because of the offense.
57:23Algier is more of a floor play. If you're like, Hey, I want to raise the floor in my room because I
57:30don't really love my, my players that I have.
57:33So that's, that, that's kind of the thinking that I would have.
57:36All right. What I'm going to do is going to be totally off the board.
57:41It's still high in the queue and the ADP.
57:44I'm actually going to go for part of my secondary tertiary build of my team.
57:49Bretton Strange is going to be my first tight end with the thought of I've got Parker Washington in round five.
57:56I don't have a stack with Trevor Lawrence, but my God, Pete, if we get middle of the field open of Bretton
58:03Strange and Parker Washington, if it goes to one, it goes to the other.
58:08I feel like I've got a vessel to one of the best offenses subtly.
58:12And this is something that you can apply in best ball drafts in high stakes drafts.
58:17And even in your leagues, you want to just get a wrap around.
58:22You want to squeeze kind of like a snake that sizes you up, get pieces where it's going to run through as the Jaguars offense thrives.
58:30I've got the pieces coming my way. So I get my first tight end.
58:34I believe in him having a breakout ability. So I'm betting like I'm right.
58:39I'm feeling pressure off right now, Pete. I don't need another quarterback.
58:43I'm pretty really good at running back or sorry, receiver.
58:46The only spot where I need to start taking some shots, I think you would agree, would be at the running back position.
58:54What would you say, you know, taking a look at the health of my team right now?
58:59Yeah, I'm good with Strange, right? It's your first tight end and, you know, he has, you know, top 10 upside, I think, at the tight end position.
59:08So I'm good with that. Just inks a three year deal.
59:12So then we know that they absolutely value him and how they see him.
59:16So I'm good with that. I think running backs, you maybe have to go for a similar strategy of what we did
59:23last time where it's just, hey, we're just going to pound running backs in the mid to late rounds here just to
59:31kind of raise that floor and provide some upside, right?
59:34For some of these guys that maybe get a couple of starts under their belt and maybe have a pop game here
59:41and there just because maybe the starter goes down like a tank Bigsby, right?
59:45Who we've talked about, right? So I think running back has to probably start to become the focus because you don't want to fall behind too much.
59:54You set yourself up great with the wide receivers.
59:57You stack with the quarterbacks and I like being kind of, you're not stacking with the quarterback, but at the same time,
60:04if you believe in the Jacksonville offense being top five, right?
60:08And Strange and Parker both being a part of that in the middle of the field, then I'm okay with kind of
60:15just trying to get as much of that offense as you can.
60:19And I love it. And looking at quarterbacks who are still on the board, it's Bryce Young, Jacoby Brissett, Fernando Mendoza, Rogers, Geno Smith, Tua Tagovailoa.
60:27Any interest in any of those down the board?
60:30No, not really at this point. Rogers, low ceiling quarterback, no stack really there unless he wanted to go with a, you
60:37know, a Rogers and a Friar Muth kind of stack.
60:41Bryce Young, not super excited about him. Both his tackles are injured at the moment.
60:45And, you know, I think it's really, I think it's really maybe shooting for Fernando Mendoza, trying to maybe etch out a
60:53cheap build there if you wanted to go that route.
60:56You know, cause it's, it's cheap. It's easy. You can go get Tucker.
61:00You know, you can go get the kid that they just drafted as well.
61:05Who's been kind of in those, those three wide receiver sets.
61:08I think he's the kid out of LSU. Um, and then obviously like you have Naylor.
61:13So that might be the route too. And, and, and then maybe using Deshaun as like a fallback.
61:19So some receivers on the board got Trey Harris, Omar Cooper, Jalen Naylor, Trey Tucker, as you had mentioned for the, the Raiders run out.
61:27And then talk to me about Isaac Tesla, Ryan Flournoy.
61:30We're hearing that Isaac Tesla cannot separate in camp.
61:33Is that something that people should be worried about trying to take a late dart on somebody like Isaac Tesla?
61:40Is that more bullish for Jameson Williams, who people thought maybe Tesla could push into that.
61:45I think it's, it's showing to be fiction now.
61:48And I think you got to be all in on, of course, I'm on Ross St.
61:53Brown, who I think you can take above, uh, JSN and then Jameson Williams.
61:58I think it's bullish for the top two and Sam Laporta, to your point, the value pocket.
62:03Yeah, I think it's bullish for, for those top guys.
62:06And at the same time, Tesla's not really somebody who I'm looking at and thinking, Hey, this is an elite separator.
62:13It's really about the upside in the red zone, right?
62:16Um, what he's going to provide. I mean, he scored, I think he scored at least four touchdowns last year.
62:23It might've been six as a rookie on a little amount of passes.
62:27Uh, they gave up a lot to go get him.
62:30So, um, I think they believe in him. Uh, but just the reports are not something that's going to scare me away.
62:38You did mention Ryan Flournoy. Uh, Flournoy is a guy that I've, I've, I mean, I have so much exposure to him, Jay.
62:45Uh, I'm, I, I think it's very possible. He, he gets to, you know, five, six touchdowns this year, 800 yards, uh,
62:52as the third receiver in that offense for Dallas.
62:55And we know, Jay, if one of those guys go down, Lamb has had a little bit of some bumps and bruises the last few years.
63:03He's missed a little bit of time, right? If one of those guys go down, Flournoy slots in and he's a top 24 wide receiver.
63:12If one of those guys miss time. So, uh, I think he's the best quote unquote handcuff at wide receiver that you can get.
63:19And I think he's going to provide value. Um, you know, even, even when those guys are healthy.
63:25Yeah. Like the rare wide receiver handcuff. And that seems like such an absurd thing to say, but I think it applies,
63:32but I think it's also bearish to the fact that Isaac Tesla is not as much of a wide receiver handcuff as people seem to think.
63:41Um, now speaking of wide receiver handcuffs, how about somebody like a Trey Harris, Pete?
63:46Are you in on him, him versus Quentin Johnson?
63:48What do you make of that breakdown of the Chargers offense?
63:52It sounds like Lab McConkie's got it locked up as the wide receiver one, but is it a QJ who it finally
63:59falls into place for him or is Trey Harris going to push in year two?
64:04I think it's a case of like, I don't want to either, uh, uh, in best ball.
64:10It's interesting. Redraft, not so much. Um, maybe have some exposure to Trey Harris who I don't think will get drafted in redraft formats and managed leagues.
64:18Jay. Um, I don't think he's somebody that I would want to draft because QJ is going to be there.
64:25Uh, but in a best ball format, best ball setting, I'd much rather take chances on Trey Harris than, uh, you know, take chances on QJ.
64:33Um, I've never really been a big fan of Trey Harris and, uh, I'm sorry of QJ.
64:39I think Trey Harris is a better player. Uh, so I would prefer Trey Harris over Quentin Johnson, uh, whose ADP has been very interesting this year.
64:47I mean, he's, he was getting drafted very low and then he all of a sudden is getting drafted inside the top 100.
64:55Um, I think Harris is going to push him for time and, and this is also going to be a slow offense, Jay.
65:02It's going to be a run heavy offense. I think Vlad McConkie is going to feast and be really, really good.
65:09And then it's going to be like kind of spread around with the other wide receivers in the offense.
65:15Uh, and it's going to be a Mar and Hampton just kind of eating up, uh, you know, the, a ton of,
65:22a ton of work, uh, you know, on the ground.
65:26So I prefer Harris. Uh, where, where do you lean there?
65:29Man, I love Trey Harris. Uh, he's somebody who stands out to me so much.
65:34If you just watch him, you can tell the talent is there.
65:38They feature him on some quick hitters last year for a rookie.
65:42And as much as Quentin Johnson, we'd like him to hit.
65:45I just see at some point, Trey Harris delayed, not denied coming through.
65:50And it's just a matter of, this is going to be a printing press offense.
65:55So I would just juxtapose. I think we're out on Isaac Tesla, but Ryan Flournoy versus Trey Harris.
66:00I can't really parse either. I sit there and think high volume passing up to 600 pass attempts in the season with Dak Prescott.
66:08Flournoy would be great. And then I think, Hey, Mike McDaniel is just going to absolutely crush it.
66:14I can't get enough of either one. So how do you determine Flournoy versus Trey Harris?
66:19Yeah, I think Flournoy versus Trey Harris is one of those where if you believe in the talent, but you're willing to
66:26eat the fact that you might not get much work with Harris and it could be complete zero, then it's Harris.
66:33If you're looking for somebody that you're saying, Hey, I know this guy's going to be involved.
66:39I know he's got a carved out role in the offense.
66:42It's Flournoy for me. I think Florida is a really, really good player.
66:46And I think he could be an impact player on a lot of teams in the NFL.
66:52I did want to mention to Jay Jacoby Lane, really, really nice pick for team five there.
66:57Jacoby Lane was a, was a guy that me and you drafted last week.
67:02We drafted him with like the last pick, like one or two picks left.
67:06It might've been our last pick. I'll have to go back and check the board, Jay, but it was right there with
67:14our last like two, three picks at minimum. And he goes here in round 14.
67:18So just shows how much he's getting steamed up a little bit with some of this, these highlights of him with the one hander and camp coaches.
67:27Declan Doyle is talking about him. So interesting to see him all the way pushed up to round 14 here.
67:34Man. Love it. Pete, I'm going to need just a little bit of advice here.
67:39I go to Montclay Bourne. I just think as we scroll down the 20 gapper principle applies and he's not going to come back to me.
67:47So I love him, especially my fourth running back.
67:50Do I go with the two receivers of Trey Harris or Ryan Flournoy?
67:54Or do you think I should go Tyler Algier or Ray Davis?
67:58Do I continue in the running back path? Cause I have receiver so well built.
68:03What should I do? I would go with Algier just because we, I think he, he could score some touchdowns.
68:09Um, I also, you know, I, I think Ray Davis can come back to you.
68:14He's, he's dealing with an ankle injury right now that could push him down a little bit down the board.
68:21So we're trying to be strategic here. If I do really love the floor and I pick, but with the way you're
68:28running back room is structured right now, I think you, I don't think you can get greedy and, and continue to stack
68:35too, too much at wide receiver, but taking Algier and Claiborne now gives you a chance to, uh, you know, take it,
68:42take another two wide receivers if you wanted next round.
68:45Well, I'm getting meat and potatoes for the fact that Tyler Algier, he's taken away red bone share from B.
68:52John Robinson. And we absolutely hate it. Pete who's to say that he can't do the same thing to Jeremiah love.
68:59I'm sorry, B. John and Jeremiah love. They can be adjacent for all we care in this exercise.
69:04Tyler Algiers, if he's able to do it to B.
69:08John, he can do it to Jeremiah love. And I, I just don't see how if there's two touchdowns on the ground,
69:15one of them doesn't go to Algier three touchdowns on the ground.
69:19One of them doesn't still go to Tyler Algier and we don't get all the ceiling weeks we want from Jeremiah love.
69:26And then of course I have upside in a cuff, like Tyler Algier is, it's boring.
69:31It's not sexy, but he's a backend RB one high end RB two weekend week out in the event that Jeremiah love gets hurt.
69:39Granted James Connor could do his thing still be on the roster, but there was aggression in how the Cardinals sought him out.
69:46Tyler Algier in free agency. So Pete, how do you feel about the team now that we have set up?
69:53Yeah, I'm feeling all right with it. Um, Claiborne was a nice pick.
69:57I've, I've tried to take Claiborne a decent amount in my draft so far.
70:01Uh, I would say it's interesting too. Uh, we haven't really seen the defense run yet.
70:07Jay, um, people really taking defenses. It's been two defenses, Rams and the Texans.
70:11Uh, so, I mean, you're sitting here around 15.
70:14I don't love taking defense super high, but, um, there's a chance you get an elite defense that falls to your deck down here at 16.
70:23So, uh, round 16, it might be worth, uh, you know, taking a swing at or considering.
70:28Uh, but I do like your team so far.
70:31Tight end is something that we may need to start working on here too.
70:35Mark Andrews goes pretty late, uh, round 13. Uh, that's pretty nuts.
70:39What are the tight ends that are available on the board right now?
70:44Yep. And why don't I read the defenses and then I'll do tight ends.
70:48So defenses to put in the queue if they make it back.
70:52Seahawks, right? Broncos. Patriots. Jaguars. Tell me when to stop.
70:55Eagles. Chargers. Steelers. Vikings. Yeah. I mean, I would, I would say on the way back, Denver, uh, uh, Denver is definitely one of them.
71:03Of course, uh, you mentioned, uh, the, the Rams are off the board.
71:08Texans are off the board. Right. Uh, so yeah.
71:10Seattle. Vikings are one to consider. Um, yeah. Seattle, Denver, Vikings.
71:14Those are the three that I would, I would target.
71:17And if they're both gone, then I, then I would probably wait, uh, and maybe not, not swing on defense.
71:24But those are the three where it's like, if it's more Denver and Seattle than, than the Vikings.
71:30But if those two teams fall to you, then, then I, it's hard not to take them.
71:35All right. Beautiful. And now let's run down the tight end gamut.
71:39Dalton Schultz, AJ Barner, Terrence Ferguson, Greg Dolcich. I like Ferguson and Dulcich.
71:43Gunnar Helm is another one. Uh, Pat Fryermuth. There's actually a lot of vacated targets in this Pittsburgh offense.
71:49And who are we to not think, Hey, Mike McCarthy comes in and things reconnoiter for, and we see the Broncos defense go for somebody like Pat Fryermuth.
71:58And he would just be such a post hype sleeper player getting him in round 16 round 17 would be phenomenal.
72:05So it, that's where it starts to run out on, on starters.
72:09There's Eli Stowers, Jake Tonjes, who could be value.
72:12So you think I should come away with a tight end for this next wraparound?
72:17It depends. It depends who comes back to us because I like Stowers.
72:21We got Stowers really late last, uh, last week and, and Stowers hasn't made a ton of noise in camp that, that
72:28forces us to have to go pick him unless you're really, really bullish on him making a big, big impact.
72:35Flournoy goes off the board here at 16, uh, and Denver right, uh, right behind him.
72:40Uh, and then King Dulcich right after him, who's dealing with an injury, you know, water's wet.
72:45Uh, that's, that's, that's, uh, that's something we've heard a lot with Greg Dulcich in the past.
72:51Uh, but yeah, I mean, tight end you're, uh, you know, you're in a tough spot.
72:56I don't want to, I wouldn't want to reach, I will say Evan Ingram is kind of interesting, Jay, and not somebody
73:03that you have to take now, uh, and, and not somebody to take at all.
73:08But Evan Ingram has been somebody who I've been getting a little bit of exposure to in these really, really deep drafts because Davis Webb, right?
73:17Is the play caller. We talked about last week a little bit, Davis Webb, the play caller Ingram and Davis Webb have a strong connection, strong relationship.
73:25Denver did keep Evan Ingram in last year. It sounds like Evan Ingram had to kind of work on his landmarks and
73:32stuff in the offense based on what Sean Payton said this week about him.
73:37Uh, but it seems like Ingram could, could have some, some value.
73:41Uh, so he's somebody to maybe consider, uh, in the next, like, you know, you know, four or five rounds from now,
73:48if, if we're kind of kicking the tight end can down the road, uh, is maybe somebody to consider Eli Raritan too,
73:55is somebody that I'm, I'm taking snipes at in that offense.
73:59He's making some waves as well. So I have six wide receivers right now.
74:03Any thought to continue into the wide receiver? If somebody like Trey Harris comes to me, Antonio Williams is there.
74:10We have Stefan Diggs who signed with the commanders.
74:13Troy Franklin, Tank Dell are out there. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
74:17Did you just say Stefan Diggs is still there?
74:20No, I'm saying Diggs is with the commander. Sorry.
74:23Turn, turn afraid. Who took Diggs? What round did Diggs go?
74:27Cause I, I think it's important for the listeners to hear that because Diggs, uh, you know, getting signed today.
74:33It's interesting to see where the crooked sentiment is on him.
74:37He goes, he goes in round 10, uh, unstacked Mahomes and Herbert are the quarterbacks.
74:42Okay. Yeah. Round 10 is fair. I think he, I think he probably pushes up into that, that eighties range, uh, is,
74:49is where Diggs makes, makes a lot of sense.
74:52I think you should take Trey Harris. If he comes back to you here, you know, the defenses go off the board.
74:59Um, you like Trey Harris. You keep talking about Trey Harris.
75:02I think you should just take him if you like him.
75:06Yeah. And I'm, I still feel, even though I have front loaded high top, good wide receivers, I think this is such
75:13a great, one of the last layered picks where a guy can ascend up.
75:18We talked about those handcuffs and funny enough, floor annoy, Isaac Tesla, and now Trey Harris go all in round 16.
75:25So I think drafters are of like mind for the defenses that are coming back.
75:29Jack Pete Jaguars, chargers, Vikings, any inclination that I should take one of them if they are on the wraparound back, or
75:37should I continue with somebody like a Ray Davis who's fallen back with an Antonio Williams, a tank Dell, Troy Franklin at the tight end position.
75:45Terrence Ferguson is out here. Dalton Schultz, AJ Barner.
75:48I don't hate the Dalton Schultz play, um, just to help with this tight end room, which strange, I, I, I'm okay waiting on defense here.
75:56I think, you know, I think we can muster up, uh, you know, something there and kind of salvage it since some of the elites go.
76:05And, uh, we can maybe click on some value here, um, at width 194.
76:09All right. We got Dalton Schultz. I'm going to go click, click on him.
76:14I think he's a good layer pick. And again, directionally, if the targets aren't there, he, he and Jake Ferguson were high target hogs last year.
76:22People don't realize how much Dalton Schultz got targeted as a second tight end to just get baseline in round 17.
76:29I'm very happy with that pick. So thanks for the advice there, Pete on this wraparound turn.
76:35I go Trey Harris, Dalton Schultz. So the direction of my team, we get a little bit of chargers exposure.
76:41Then we get just back end, you know, Texans in the passing game.
76:45It's hard to get excited about the Texans passing game because I know you're a little bearish on Nico Collins.
76:52What do you make of Jaden Higgins? All the news that has been out for him.
76:57I think he's very popular and we should look around for the audience, see where he went in this draft.
77:03He goes round 11 to team four. Higgins is.
77:06Higgins is a player that I, I really, really loved in the process when he was a rookie.
77:12I'm starting to come around a little bit on this Texans offense more than where I was a little bit ago.
77:19Reports sound like Stroud's looked really, really good in camp.
77:22I don't, I try not to put too much stock into camp, you know, with reporting and how things go.
77:29Sometimes you just got to trust your gut on what you're hearing.
77:33And it has sounded like the offense has, has looked pretty decent for the Texans.
77:37So I like the Jaden Higgins pick though. He's made some rounds.
77:41He looks like a guy that's going to score, you know, possibly six, seven, eight touchdowns this year.
77:47I do worry with tank Dell coming back into the fold.
77:51I'm not saying that Higgins isn't going to be the number two wide receiver, but what I do worry about a little
77:58bit is just, you know, a low volume passing offense, you know, with you know, a lot of mouths to feed.
78:05What does that mean? And, and Dalton Schultz is, is a guy that I saw almost, if not a hundred targets last year.
78:12So it just, it does worry me a little bit.
78:15I still want to have exposure to Higgins when he falls and get some, get some discounts on him.
78:21That's, that's probably the only times I'm going to be drafting him is just when he falls and I can get a discount, which really sucks.
78:30Cause I love the player. I just, I just don't really love the situation for how it's setting up combined with his cost.
78:37So some players at the top of my queue right now for overall Pete, Emmitt Johnson, Jaguars defense, Seahawks defense, Kamani Vidal.
78:44So there's two running backs in Emmitt Johnson and Vidal chargers defense starting to get clogged up with basically these high upside
78:52running backs got Ray Davis, the Vikings defense. It might be taking me in that direction.
78:57Any of those names stand out to you? Yeah, I still like Ray Davis.
79:01Uh, I, I think we talked about him last week, but a player that if, if he's pushed and thrusted into a
79:08starting role because James Cook misses time, uh, we know he, he can absolutely handle it and he's looked really, really good.
79:16So, um, I, I prefer Ray Davis if we're going to go that route.
79:20Um, you know, maybe, maybe dip back into tight end, go for Terrence Ferguson.
79:25If we're looking for an upside pick, um, I like Terrence Ferguson at pick two 15.
79:30I think it's a good cost. Uh, they're saying that Ferguson might operate almost like their wide receiver three since they're kind of short there.
79:38Um, and he's, he's gotten some good, good drum beats in camp so far as well.
79:43Uh, so those are two guys that I would, I would keep my eye on.
79:48Yeah. I like that. And then Gunnar Helm goes, I wonder your, how much are you clicking on somebody like a Gunnar Helm?
79:55Talk to us like in a redraft, in a dynasty, in a best ball, how would you approach Gunnar Helm?
80:02What's your thought on him? Yeah, I'm not touching Helm.
80:05Uh, he's a streamer for me. He's a guy that not going to waste draft capital on him.
80:11I'm shooting for upside players, uh, especially in redraft in, in, in best ball.
80:15It's, it's a fine pick if you're stacking him, you know, with Cam Ward in this case, this, this drafter doesn't have Cam Ward.
80:23So he's taking him without that stack. But I just think this is an offense bottom five.
80:29Um, there, there, you also still have to worry about the fact that Dayball did bring, uh, bring somebody in at the
80:36tight end position with the giants that, you know, will also get some love and some looks there as well.
80:42Um, I think it's, I think it's Bellinger. I'm not sure.
80:46I'd have to look up if it is. Is it Daniel Bellinger that they brought in?
80:51I'll, I'll have to check that. But either way, I mean, you're dealing with a ton of target competition with Wandale, with
80:58Carnell Tate, um, and a low offense when it comes to scoring touchdowns this year.
81:03I just don't know how much Helm I want, even if I like the player.
81:08Um, so yeah, that, that's kind of where I'm sitting with him.
81:12Are you somebody who's in on Helm this year?
81:15Well, it's funny. I take picks on him, but it's only when he's my second or he's my third tight end.
81:22It's never a, he's my first tight end and I'm going to fully buy into it.
81:27You got Shamir DK. You got Alec A-Man or two, who I think are two layered players who many people are discounting
81:34and not thinking of the expansive nature of how the Titans offense could be in 2026.
81:39They don't see the full ascension. They just see it as peppering some Wandale Robinson with some targets.
81:45And then it's for sure Carnell Tate. He's going to have 160 unadulterated targets.
81:49It won't even matter who's out there. And it's just going to be a one-eyed ass offense.
81:55I think there's going to be a lot more versatility and a lot more meat on the bone for the Titans offense
82:02in year two for Cam Ward in the entirety.
82:05So I think downflow from that effect would be going to help.
82:09But to what you're saying, I wouldn't feel much comfortable in any other format than best ball.
82:14I'm not selecting him in redraft, but no way.
82:17Yeah, I'm not selecting him either. I do want to touch on just from a defense perspective.
82:23So Vikings go, Chargers go, Eagles. I believe it off the board as well.
82:27Right, Jeremiah? Yep. We've got Ravens, Browns, Bears, Packers, Atlanta Falcons.
82:31Any of those? I would go with the Saints.
82:34I would go with the Saints. I'm high on the Saints defense this year.
82:38I think they have a really, really incredible schedule.
82:41I have them in my tier three for defenses.
82:44They're the top of my tier three at eight.
82:47Atlanta's tough. I had Atlanta at nine. They're going to have to get bumped down, unfortunately.
82:52Unfortunately, they just dealt with some injuries too. I think Walker from the Falcons, the pass rusher, Jalen Walker, went down with
82:59an injury and he's out for the season. So he tore his ACL.
83:04I was very excited for the pass rush on the defense, but that's definitely a tough blow there.
83:10So I prefer the Saints with their pretty nice schedule.
83:13So I would say, you know, we don't want to get screwed up and not like we did last week and push defense too far.
83:21So Saints would be my pick. But if you're looking at the ADP and you're saying, hey, I think we could probably wait another two rounds.
83:29Let's take these two picks and try to take a swing at them after.
83:34I think you're good with that too. You see the ADP on your side.
83:38Well, I'll say it probably won't come back. It's going to be one of those 20 gappers where it doesn't align with ADP sharply.
83:46But in the sense of the 20 gap, it's the Saints will not come back to me.
83:52Yeah, that makes sense. And then right now, as we're coming up, I've got Kamani Vidal at the top of the queue.
83:59The Chargers and Jaguars are also, oh, that's team kicker.
84:02Sorry. Let's not get confused here. A little bit of a new format on that front, delineating who the kickers and the defenses are with the color scheme.
84:11But team 11 here. I went down Schultz last round.
84:14We've been pushing. We've talked about it. Okay, I'll just go to you.
84:19We love Ray Davis. Any sense for Kamani Vidal?
84:21Yeah, but Vidal is somebody too that I've gobbled up a lot of shares.
84:26I view them very similar. Vidal is going to have maybe a little bit more standalone upside than Ray Davis would.
84:33But you're taking a handcuff that if the starter goes down, he's going to get most of the early down work and still can catch passes.
84:41So I like Vidal as well, you know, if you're considering him.
84:45This is like the Moneyball meme. Ray Davis. It's, hey, he's a great player, but his only glitch is he can go
84:52off and have great fantasy performances against the New York Jets.
84:56If you look at all his big games that Ray Davis has had, he has been against the New York Jets.
85:03For whatever reason, James Cook happens to be hurt.
85:06Ben, maybe we can just look at the dates where the Bills play the Jets and see what happens there.
85:12It reminds me a lot of Sean Tucker. Sean Tucker is another player who, you know, he's up here in the queue.
85:19He's he's pick one 99. Is he another player to consider?
85:23Or do you think we should go for the New Orleans Saints?
85:27I think you should go with your gut. Go with your gut here.
85:31I've helped you out on a couple here, but I think, I think, I think when you, when you are bringing up
85:38somebody a few times, you clearly want to make the pick.
85:41So just go, just go make your pick. All right.
85:45I'm going to go with the New Orleans Saints bonafide with the defense.
85:49I filled out a spot. I know I'm going to get points printed every single week.
85:54I'm not married to Kamani Vidal. I'm not married to Sean Tucker.
85:58And there's some other running backs who I think we've spoken about before in previous shows and just in general that we like.
86:05There's more cuff backs out there. There's been a run on defense and as a sleeper upside type of play.
86:12I like the New Orleans Saints. Now, Pete, remind me last week when we took the Cowboys as a kicker, were they
86:19the only kicker that we took and were like, hey, we'll take the L on the bye week and then just get
86:26the advantage the rest of the weeks? Yeah, that was, that was what we did.
86:31I still don't mind taking a team kicker, you know, with like even like the last pick.
86:37I don't think there's going to be zero kickers to take at the end.
86:41So it's worth it to just grab a kicker at the very end to, to just, just have a fill in.
86:48We're not going to need them for anything else.
86:51Really? Man. I love it. The Jacksonville Jaguars defense goes off.
86:54Let's hear a word from our sponsors and we'll be right back.
86:58The NFFC, my favorite high stakes fantasy platform. Why?
87:01Third round reversal, Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation. So it's a lottery based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft.
87:10It's full PPR. There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
87:15And now they've combined with the FFWC, they have a lot more contests to offer.
87:20In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC primetime.
87:25And if you win that 300 grand, you can also join the circle world championship.
87:30And that's 200 grand. You win both. You win a million dollars.
87:34So go to play NFFC.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes.
87:40You can use first time, 100 to get a hundred bucks when you sign up, but also every time you sign up
87:47for a new contest, we give you codes to use to get discounts on those entry fees as well.
87:53Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
87:57You love it here. NFFC. Check this out. I've done some of these where I wait too long on the defensive defense
88:04and have to end up grabbing two or three horrible defenses and hope for the best so they can go fast.
88:11So that makes me feel much better about going with the Saints here.
88:15There's been a run enough. I feel like Pete, I've gotten positional advantage in other areas, especially the wide receiver position.
88:22I feel very comfortable with my quarterback position. Anything critiquing on this team, how we've gone, even patchworking back the running back position.
88:30I mean, after I've got Chase Brown, Bucky Irving, I buy them.
88:34I click them. I believe in them. I'm betting like I'm right.
88:37That's what you have to do in these tournaments.
88:40Jonah Coleman, DeMond Claiborne, RB34. They're the moonshot upside players.
88:44Tyler Algier, a meat and potatoes kind of player who's going to maybe get those 10 points when you need them on
88:51a week where it's a bye week for Chase Brown or Bucky Irving.
88:55Or they just have a down week and there's injuries, of course.
88:59And then Ray Davis, I have him as just a pure upside type of play.
89:04So how would you critique the team as we're here now in round 20?
89:08Yeah, I think we're there's a lot of risk baked in with the running back position, of course.
89:14You know, while I did mention Bucky and I did mention that, you know, coming up on him a little bit from
89:21where I had him and I think consensus is a little too low on him.
89:26We're relying on him to be our RB2. We're really hoping that Chase Brown, who I feel extremely confident about and clearly
89:33you do as well, we're leaning on Chase Brown to really be that anchor for us, right?
89:39Because, I mean, if Chase Brown is a bust and Bucky Irving does what the market believes and that's really a guy
89:46that's in a timeshare that doesn't hit high, we're going to really, really be in some trouble if, you know, if we
89:53don't get elite play out of these wide receivers.
89:56So that'd be my only hesitations about the team so far.
89:59But that's why we're trying to back up, you know, with some high end handcuffs, right?
90:05So we take Ray Davis, we take Algier who, you know, Algier's not in the best offense, but at the end of
90:12the day, we know he's going to get looks at the goal line.
90:16So that should be helpful, Jeremiah, for us. And then Jonah Coleman, of course, right?
90:21I mean, if J.K. Dobbins goes down, right? Jonah is really more of a handcuff to Dobbins than he is to Harvey
90:28based on their skill sets and the role. So, you know, we're doing the best to kind of backfill that.
90:34I think we got jacked up a little bit and we missed out on some running backs we could have taken to
90:42make the room a little bit better. But overall, I do like everything else.
90:46I mean, Claiborne's very interesting. He plays behind two guys that have had issues stay on the field in terms of Jordan Mason and Aaron Jones.
90:54I have no doubt in my mind Claiborne's going to have a week or two this year where he's just a starter
91:02off of sheer injuries alone, you know, in the season.
91:05So that's kind of my hesitations on where we are.
91:08The receiver room is really, really good. I don't need to tell you that.
91:13And I think the quarterbacks have a lot of upside, right?
91:16I mean, Baker could easily be a top 10 quarterback.
91:19And Kyler, for what it's worth, I mean, there's a world if you told me, hey, Kyler finished his quarterback five on
91:27the year, I wouldn't sit there and tell you that there's no way that happens.
91:31Do I think it's going to happen? No. No, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.
91:37Okay, that one hurts. I was looking at Shador Sanders here to be a nice little stack with Casey Concepcion.
91:43Tough break, tough run out. And that just leaves guys like Michael Penix, Mack Jones, JJ McCarthy, Joe Flacco, Jameis.
91:50So that part is a little bit tough. I might need to get creative with some of my backup quarterbacks.
91:56Pete, any inclination to just go with two quarterbacks?
91:59Or do you think I'd be foolish to not come away with a third at some point?
92:05I mean, I think we can go grab a third at some point, right?
92:09Even if it's a backup, right? I mean, I guess we're looking at, like you said, Mack Jones.
92:15You know, I mean, Cousins, but he's already gone, of course.
92:19And he's going to start most of the year.
92:22So it's really Mendoza, I guess, that's the backup.
92:25Yeah, I would say maybe with one of our last picks, right?
92:28You're kind of filling in those gaps. Like last pick might be a quarterback that's a backup.
92:34And maybe you're filling it in with like a kicker in that bye week.
92:39And I love it. And we've gone with, for the tight end position, Brenton Strange, Dalton Schultz.
92:44I got Eli Stowers on the board. I'm thinking I'm going to click him.
92:49It's the Philadelphia Eagles. It's a good option. It's a good layered player.
92:53And I have full faith that Brenton Strange is really going to pull up for my team.
92:58Dalton Schultz is going to get some of those healthy points.
93:02Eli Stowers can be my upside play. Tons of athleticism, Pete.
93:05To me, it reminds me a lot of Jordan Reed, where he may not be asked to block so much, but middle of the field open.
93:14Another cool thing. And this is cool. I've done this twice now through habit.
93:18You have Parker Washington on this team in round five, Brenton Strange in round 13.
93:23Well, I've also got Eli Stowers here and Makai Lemon.
93:26So I've got some Philadelphia share where I don't have the quarterback.
93:30This is a lot of fun. I didn't even intend to do that.
93:35First time I intended to do that. Now the second time it just works out.
93:39So I've got Philadelphia offense, secondary share, a receiver in Lemon, a tight end in Stowers.
93:45And then the same thing with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
93:48So I have two top five offenses in my mind who, even though I don't have the quarterback driving the bus, I'm the beneficiary so much.
93:56So I feel like that's something that can layer and build up my team.
94:00I do this now in round 20. So I love something like that for a top high-end offense.
94:06What do you think, Pete? Yeah, I like it too.
94:10You know how I am. I was very high on Stowers this year.
94:14So I'm good with the pick. I think the upside is absolutely there.
94:18And you're looking at two pass catchers that could be dealing with injuries already in Smith and Lemon that you're going to
94:25need to use these tight ends if that happens in year or if it lingers.
94:30And Stowers, I think, will be involved. It might not happen early, early on, but he'll be involved.
94:36All right. So I go Ollie Gordon. I just think in this patch, people are going to get too cute.
94:42And I don't mind scrolling down and getting him.
94:45And I think he's the direct cuff to Devon HM.
94:48And he's completely mispriced, Pete. And at this part of the draft, we're in the back third.
94:54I have no issue going with Ollie Gordon, especially with my running back room.
94:58I've got to take some stabs. I've got to take some shots.
95:02There's some other players that I like out there that we've spoken about before.
95:07But when I think of all the running backs out, like right now, OK, here's in the queue.
95:13Emmanuel Wilson, Braylon Allen, James Connor, Trey Benson, LaQuint Allen, Chris Brooks, Malik Davis, Adam Randall.
95:18When I'm picking apart and looking at who can be just a direct handcuff and absolutely have league winning upside, funny enough, it's Ollie Gordon.
95:26So I'm just so thrilled. The types of running backs that I'm getting who are filling out the depth of my running
95:33back room, we can have complete leverage on the field with somebody like Ollie Gordon, DeMond Claiborne, Jonah Coleman, and Ray Davis.
95:40Yeah, I love the Ollie Gordon pick. We talked about him last week.
95:45Not really sure why Jalen Wright goes so far ahead of Ollie Gordon.
95:49It really is confusing to me. He went round 18.
95:52Yeah, I don't really understand it. I would prefer Ollie over right pretty comfortably.
95:56So I don't know why ADP doesn't see it the same.
96:00And I don't know. Not too sure about that.
96:03Parkinson's interesting, by the way. Colby Parkinson goes off the board there.
96:07Ferguson goes way higher because of the upside. Parkinson's eight touchdowns last year.
96:11And he goes this late. So it's a nice value for team five there as well.
96:16Yeah, now it's kind of like get your guy season.
96:20Maybe I inspired. And hey, I go Gordon because you had to scroll down a lot, almost to the point where people
96:27would be like, oh, crap, he's still there in the queue.
96:30That's how far I had to go. And I can see that an element of that for Caleb Douglas and for Cyrus Allen.
96:38Now, last week, Pete, you had clicked on Cyrus Allen.
96:41He's getting all the buzz, running with the ones.
96:44But now we're getting a lot of buzz about Caleb Douglas for the Miami Dolphins.
96:49He was a sleeper for me early in the draft process.
96:52So it is pretty cool to see him here in round 21.
96:56Some of those mainstream sites that might do only 18 rounds in the best ball formats.
97:01We could be getting the ADP where Caleb Douglas is even more mainstream.
97:06But in these deeper streets in the NFFC, he can play to win big prizes, Pete.
97:11He goes in round 21. Fair price, jumping the shark.
97:14Or are you of the mind, Pete? Round 21 to 30, ADP really isn't sorted like we may think.
97:20Yeah, I think that's really what it is. ADP doesn't really matter at this point in the game here.
97:26You're taking guys that you like and that's really it.
97:29I mean, you're 250 players in. You have no clue how people are going to value guys.
97:35Guys, most people I think should just not really care for ADP nearly at this point.
97:40Just go get your guy. There's no reaches this late in the draft.
97:44I will say, Caleb Douglas, interesting player. Just in terms of, you know, no Chris Bell.
97:50Stephon Diggs now gone. He goes to the Commanders.
97:53Deebo Samuel goes to the 49ers. So there's really not like that veteran that's coming in unless it's Keenan Allen that comes
98:00into Miami to kind of help save and raise the floor in this room.
98:04So it really is going to be left to Dulcich, Caleb Douglas, you know, Malik Washington, those kinds of guys.
98:11And somebody's got to catch the football. So it's not a bad pick there.
98:15Cyrus Allen, I love, love the pick though. I will say that I would prefer Cyrus over Caleb just because of the type of the offense.
98:24And just, I don't know, I love Cyrus Allen.
98:27I liked him in the pre-draft process. I wasn't like in love with him.
98:31But I did like him and I do have some shares of him in some dynasty leagues.
98:37But, you know, he ends up being okay after that bang up in practice.
98:41And this is great value, in my opinion, to get Cyrus Allen with all the steam that he's had.
98:47I have him inside my top 200. So to get him here, you know, at the, you know, in the 21st round is really, really nice value.
98:56So a receiver that pops out here is Troy Franklin.
98:59Are you of the mind that he's going to do much of anything?
99:03We get word of a Jalen Waddell injury. Are you concerned about Jalen Waddell, Pete?
99:08And what about the depth of this receiver room for the Broncos?
99:12Yeah, the Broncos receiver room is really tough because I think there's a trade very possible coming.
99:18Um, but if Waddell is now showing possibility he could get hurt, uh, you know, Sutton didn't practice last two weeks, two
99:25days, but they were considered veteran rest days that, you know, you don't usually get two of them.
99:31So that's interesting. Uh, Mims is an all pro returner.
99:34So he's got the most value. He's on an expiring deal.
99:37Franklin has, doesn't have an expiring deal. So, you know, but he doesn't have as much value.
99:43So would they trade him? I don't know. I do think there's a possibility there's a shakeup though.
99:49And somebody does get moved. Um, and Waddell has had issues staying healthy on the field.
99:54I don't really love Troy Franklin. I gotta be honest.
99:57Uh, it's not the pick I would go with.
100:00I'd rather take a chance on, on somebody else.
100:03But, uh, you know, if you're saying, Hey, you know, Waddell's had issues staying healthy, you know, I'm just going to go
100:10take Franklin and take a chance on him. Uh, you know, I, I don't mind it if you're interested in him.
100:17He's just not my, my cup of tea. Yeah.
100:20It's interesting. Like Pat Bryan, if he's not there, I kind of really don't want to dive into the Denver Broncos.
100:27I'm really interested to see what could happen. Trade wins.
100:30You think it would be like a tertiary player, like a Marvin Mims.
100:34You don't think it would be somebody like a Cortland Sutton.
100:38Do you? I don't think it's Sutton. Um, I think Sutton is, is too important to the room.
100:44Uh, I think Sutton is a possibility to look out for next year, uh, with his contract.
100:49I don't think it's going to happen this year though.
100:52Uh, he's just too important, uh, to, to what they do.
100:56I'm so happy Pete, cause we can talk all crap about the six, seventh and eighth, ninth Denver Broncos wide receiver, but
101:03give me somebody who can be the wide receiver too on the Seattle Seahawks.
101:08It is Torrey Horton. If Cooper cup is complete dust, you almost Torrey Horton, before he got hurt, you could almost not buy him off of dynasty rosters.
101:17And when I saw Cyrus Allen go, it kind of triggered to me.
101:21I'm like, okay, Torrey Horton is here and around.
101:24So Horton, here's a who Retzlaff. Here's a Horton.
101:27Cause I got Torrey Horton on my team. Just another layered play receiver.
101:31It's been now five rounds since we went or sorry.
101:34Yeah. Five rounds since we went Trey Harris. So I'm ecstatic to go and get somebody like Torrey Horton.
101:40What do you make of this play this deep at receiver in round 22?
101:45Yeah. Horton is somebody who I've, I've, I've always kind of liked, uh, you know, I think it's extremely impressive when you
101:52have a player with, with his draft capital, you know, getting X responsibilities last year in the Seattle offense.
101:58Uh, it's a thin offense, not a lot of weapons on in, in the room.
102:03Uh, you know, it's really JSN. And then a bunch of guys that are unproven.
102:08I know people are high on AJ Barner this year.
102:11Horton is interesting. If he stays healthy, um, I think he can definitely be a contributor in a big way, uh, for, for Seattle this year.
102:20So I think it's great value there too. All right.
102:23We're, we're not shopping at Walmart. We are shopping at the NFFC.
102:27Speaking of great value. I go with the wraparound pick with Isaiah Davis.
102:31Again, ADP is starting to get thrown out the window.
102:34Get your guy season. It's wild, wild West here.
102:37I'm seeing where he surpassed Braylon Allen and I test can be lie test, but I see Isaiah Davis and he is just electric Pete.
102:45I want him as a cuff to somebody like Brees Hall.
102:49So there's a lot of optionality in this team with how I'm building this running back room.
102:54My God. Okay. Jeremiah love law of large numbers.
102:57We want to do this practice. Ready? Law of large numbers.
103:01Does it stand to reason that one of the following running backs will get hurt Pete.
103:06In addition to, I already have Bucky Irving and chase Brown.
103:09So assume health for me. We're, we're being selfish season.
103:13Assume health for the team. We're putting together. Pete, Bucky Irving and chase Brown.
103:17Does it stand to reason? Okay. Jonah Coleman, JK Dobbins, DeMond Claiborne, Aaron Jones, Jordan Mason, Tyler Algier with Jeremiah love Ray
103:24Davis with James cook, Ollie Gordon with Devon H and Isaiah Davis with Brees Hall.
103:29You have some premier running backs where this would be huge leverage on the field.
103:34And we have stuffed and shoveled like all the gold into the fire, whatever that meme is from duck tales, where they're
103:41just shoveling money into the furnace, but it could be the I thought that was a fairly got pants.
103:47Whatever it is. The point remains. We are stuffing as many tickets as we can in throwing it against the wall.
103:54And I love doing this when I go so light at running back.
103:58I love doing crap like this. And to me, Pete, I know we talked about how we feel about Bucky Irving, but
104:05when I can get him at prices, when you can get him at late RB two prices and all he has to
104:13do is fill my RB two spot. Normally when we would draft Bucky Irving in prior years, he'd be higher in ADP like last year.
104:21So I'm thrilled and ecstatic that I can get him at a value and just let all these other running backs marinate.
104:28Granted, I need to get some standalone value and I need to get printed points.
104:33So there's a degree where early in the season, these running backs may not be hitting like I like, but one running
104:40back that serves versatile as a cuff or two actually that serve as a cuff and flex cuff value parallel will be
104:47Ollie Gordon because I think he's going to get more run than HN rosterers want.
104:52And then Tyler Algier that we covered for the Cardinals.
104:55So I'm elated with how this team is built right now.
104:59I think the only thing right now we go back up, it's Kyler Murray and Baker Mayfield, Pete, shy of that.
105:05And I'm still betting pure health on them. I'm feeling very good about this team, especially with Stowers as my third tight end.
105:13I love Breton Strange. So, so Pete, how are you feeling now?
105:17Yeah, I feel good. I, I, now if I'm, if I'm in your spot, I'm looking for, okay, who are the cheap
105:24pieces in this offense, uh, in these offenses for the bucks and for the Vikings that I can add on to the
105:31end of these rosters, just in case like a Tess Johnson, right.
105:35I'm assuming Ted Hearst is gone. Uh, no, Kate Otten's gone.
105:38So for the bucks, it's starting to kind of thin out there.
105:42Um, for the Vikings, you got like a Ty Felton who made a nice one-handed catch.
105:48I don't know if Jawan Jennings is still there.
105:50Um, I gotta imagine he's not there anymore, Jay, but he's gone.
105:54He is. Yeah. I was gonna say, if he is, that would be somebody I would take a chance on.
106:01Um, but unfortunately I don't really see a ton of, of meat left on the bone in those offenses for, for guys to take swings on.
106:09Is there somebody outside of maybe Tess Johnson that you, you think could be a somebody that you would, you would look at?
106:17I think it would be Tess Johnson for the Buccaneers because Jalen McMillan, who has already gone.
106:22Uh, I, I love Jalen McMillan. I had considered taking him around where he went.
106:27So I think past Tess Johnson, there isn't really much left.
106:31Kate Otten has also gone as well. Let me cue you up to on team defenses.
106:36Pete Panthers, Bucs, Raiders, Commanders, Dolphins, Jets, Cardinals. You don't have to say it now.
106:41We can wait until we're on the clock. Are there any defenses there that would be palatable to take here in round 24?
106:48There is, um, there is one defense, but I think we could, I think we can probably still wait on them.
106:55Um, I don't think anybody's going to, going to shoot for them so we can wait.
107:00Um, but I do want to just say, let's take one more quick break.
107:05Um, for the last break of the show, stick with us.
107:08If you're still watching, make sure you get that thumbs up and subscribe if you're not.
107:13And we'll be right back. The NFFC, my favorite high stakes fantasy platform.
107:18Why third round reversal Kentucky Derby draft slot allocation.
107:21So it's a lottery based system where you can put in your preference where you want to draft.
107:26It's full PPR. There's three receivers. It's the best place to play fantasy football, especially for high stakes.
107:32And now they've combined with the FFWC. They have a lot more contests to offer.
107:37In fact, they have a double crown bonus where you can join the NFFC primetime.
107:42And if you win that 300 grand, you can also join the circle world championship.
107:47And that's 200 grand. You win both. You win a million dollars.
107:51So go to play NFFC.com slash profiler and check the show description for a number of promo codes you can use.
107:57First time 100 to get 100 bucks when you sign up.
108:01But also every time you sign up for a new contest, we give you codes to use to get discounts on those entry fees as well.
108:09Thank you to the NFFC. They make our podcast network what it is.
108:14Love it. Love it. Now two defenses go off the board.
108:17Buccaneers, commanders. Do you think I should go on the front end defense or back end defense of this wraparound pick?
108:24So tell me what defenses do we have available?
108:27Read them off to me. Just read them all off.
108:30Panthers, Raiders, Dolphins, Jets, Cardinals. That's it. Yep. Okay.
108:33Yeah, I'm thinking we just go grab it. I think we just go grab them.
108:38Okay. Okay. Don't say it. Don't say anything. There's people out there.
108:42And then I have a receiver in mind who I'll go for.
108:46Okay. Now we're up. Is it the New York Jets?
108:49It is. Yeah, I would take the Jets. You know, there's a chance under Aaron Glenn, you know, that it gets better.
108:56But either way, they added some pieces. I think the Jets roster in general is just better.
109:02This year, the offense was so bad that the defense was just put in some really bad spots.
109:07Of course, they didn't have a lot of turnover.
109:10So I get it. But they get the Cardinals to start off in the playoffs, which is nice to have first week of the playoffs.
109:18And then they get the, you know, they get the Patriots and the Vikings, which obviously is not nearly as bullish.
109:25But, you know, I could also see the Vikings just being a train wreck if Kyler isn't good.
109:31And, you know, that wouldn't be good for us, of course, because we have Kyler.
109:36But either way, you get it. Uh-huh. But I do want to shout out, give Michael a shout out.
109:42He's in the draft here. I don't know what team.
109:45Yeah, what team is he? Yeah, we'd love to hear that, Michael, what team you are.
109:51But he said we can cover his team. Yeah, yeah.
109:54We'll cover his team at the end. If you want to tell us, Michael, what team you got.
110:00And shout out to the 477 people who are out here streaming with us.
110:04You love to see it. NFFC. It's just a great product.
110:08A lot of fun right now. Just I've had so much fun, Pete.
110:12Probably the coolest wrinkle is this kicker and defense angle where you have to account for.
110:17It gives me a little bit of that satisfaction of the redraft itch.
110:21But part of what's happening here is in a deep best ball, you have to kind of do an anticipatory waiver wire.
110:28Like all these pics of me going where I talked about Ray Davis, Ollie Gordon, Torrey Horton, Isaiah Davis.
110:35A lot of these players are going to be, especially on shorter bench redraft teams, waiver wire articles where they're featured.
110:41And with best ball, you have to kind of anticipate when that might happen.
110:46And speaking of waiver wire, here's a player who I think is going to be a waiver wire darling.
110:52And if we believe in the Titans ascension, Pete, I'm going to go another receiver because I have eight receivers, eight running backs.
111:00So I feel a nice balance. I'm going to go with Elk A.
111:04Manor in year two. If we get another ascension, I talked to, I've mentioned it earlier, which mirror DK, Elk A.
111:11Manor just underneath Wondale Robinson and Carnell Tate. I love the idea of this late in a draft.
111:16Somebody like Shamir DK, where if he gives me three, two to three spike weeks in this round, in round 25, that's incredible.
111:24You know, you talk about not taking zeros, but at a certain point you talk about, hey, can we print points?
111:31And I think Elk A. Manor is just another one of those layered players, especially when you get, it could be an injury to Carnell Tate.
111:39And then what happens? You know, Brian Dayball offense.
111:42How would that run? Well, Wondale Robinson gets hurt.
111:45There's going to be a third target. We talked about Gunnar Helm.
111:49So this is another play, too, where I won't want to click, especially in a shallow redraft, in the deep best ball.
111:56I don't have to think about Helm. I don't have to think about Elk A.
112:01Manor. So in one sense, somebody goes Gunnar Helm, team two, which we'll cover.
112:05And over here, I go with Elk A. Manor.
112:08So a lot of fun, the strategy that goes with some of these very layered plays deep on these rosters.
112:15Yeah. By the way, Michael did say he is team number two.
112:19So why don't we take a little bit of a look and see how it turned out.
112:24So he took Bijan, Jeremiah Love, and he did get the discount on Josh Allen, who did fall a little bit there at the end of round three.
112:33He goes Tett McMillan, Roma Dunes, and Quinshawn Judkins.
112:36And then he goes Kyle Pitts, Alec Pierce. He ends up getting that Rico discount and the RJ Harvey discount.
112:43So he really, really lucked out there. He gets Jalen Coker, who I happen to really like this year, Jay.
112:49He gets him in round 12. I think Jalen Coker should be a top 100 player for sure.
112:55So I like it. The only thing I would be a little concerned about is just not enough, a little bit more
113:02risk than I would have wanted at wide receiver in his room.
113:06I do love Tett, of course. I like Rome this year.
113:10Alec Pierce with the ankle. Rome with the target competition.
113:13Tett with the low ceiling offense. And then obviously Coker.
113:16I just worry about it. But he also gets Coker and Tett to stack in Bryce Young's offense, right?
113:22So he does get stacked there as well. What do you think?
113:26So he's guaranteeing the wide receiver one with the Panthers.
113:29Part of the mindset could be, well, you're betting against yourself versus a broader field.
113:34But with so few receivers, you're guaranteeing something, which I think is highly valuable.
113:39We want to bet on Ted Arora McMillan being the guy.
113:42Roma Dunze could absolutely be the player. So you've got two stud wide receivers.
113:47I don't love the Shakir pick. But the running backs that you have are so excellent.
113:52Bijan, Love, Quichon Junkins. And then layering down. Where I went strength in receiver, I want to say team two.
113:58Shout out to you. You went strength in running back.
114:02So it'll be interesting to see how this plays out as this goes on.
114:06One note on the Shakir pick. My question would be, did you go in round 11 to Shakir because you had an easier stack with Josh Allen?
114:15Granted, DJ Moore had gone. I love the Pitts pick.
114:18So a lot of good pieces as you're going through this draft.
114:22So very nice start, especially those first 10 rounds.
114:25But it'll be interesting to see how it plays out with all the running back.
114:30Does running back positional advantage hit? My one knock, I think as you were alluding to, Pete, when you need the three
114:37wide receiver started perpetually, and then you're trying to get a flex, that can be very tough when you don't have enough receivers out there.
114:45Yeah. Being that it's a start three wide receiver, it makes it a little bit tougher.
114:50I don't mind going running back bully. Like I said, I just worry a little bit.
114:55Alec Pierce, though, you get a little bit of a discount on him.
115:00He's been falling in drafts. So he's your wide receiver three.
115:03I just think there's a decent amount of question marks with your top guys, enough to make it a little bit uneasy,
115:10and especially when you have to start three wide receivers would kind of be my takeaway there.
115:16Yeah, I love it. So good stuff here. Some players at the top of the QP.
115:21Funny enough, Brandon Ayuk. Nobody's going to touch him.
115:24Shamir Dike is there. Theo Johnson at tight end.
115:27Mike Gusecki. Keenan Allen, who was unsigned. There could be some upside there.
115:31LaQuint Allen, who you love. So any of those names pop out to you.
115:36Yeah, I like LaQuint Allen. He's definitely somebody. Keenan Allen's interesting, too.
115:40I don't know, Jay. I just don't think that he's going to retire.
115:44I think he's going to sign with somebody maybe when there's a camp injury.
115:48He'll end up signing somewhere. So I don't mind going to Keenan Allen route, but I'm not in love with him where
115:55I'm like, hey, if you prefer somebody else, I think it's totally fine.
116:00Man, love it. So it might end up being...
116:03Oh, there we go. So maybe somebody was listening.
116:05Shout out to you. That's a sharp pick. As sharp as it gets.
116:10Well, that's funny because this drafter also took Kamani Vidal right after we passed on him, too.
116:15So maybe they are listening. Who knows? Not a bad deal.
116:19At this point, I'm going to take, because we're at the top of the board, I'm going to go with Mack Jones as my third quarterback.
116:27And I love the upside, the trade viability that could happen.
116:31Maybe he ends up backdoor stacking with somebody else.
116:34What if Jalen Hurts gets hurt, Mack Jones gets traded, and then I have an ultra backdoor, Makai Lemon stack, and Eli Stowers?
116:41Crazier things can happen. And you saw the viability of how good he was.
116:46I don't mind in these tournaments taking an upside third quarterback, and he is one who just stands out like a sore thumb to me.
116:54Funny enough, Shamir Dike is still on the board.
116:57Keenan Allen, who we spoke to. I'm trying to sit here and thinking, is there any pressure on any position that we
117:04need to apply towards the end here? Maybe some more quarterback, of course, is out there.
117:09What do you think, Pete? No, I think we definitely still need to grab a kicker at the end.
117:15So we'll probably try to save that for our last pick.
117:19Around 30. Yeah, just for the bye. Quarterback, not really.
117:22I mean, Mack Jones is a sharp pick. You know, I don't know how much better you're going to get at quarterback.
117:29There's no reason to press and take another one, in my opinion, unless there's just somebody you really like.
117:35Maybe a Tez Johnson pick. Just off the fact that Tez is, you know, going to be stacked in there.
117:42He's got that upside ability, big play ability. So maybe that's a possible route that you could go.
117:48But it doesn't sound like you like Tez that much.
117:51So, I mean, I'm good with whichever direction. At this point, you need a pulse.
117:56And we've seen Tez Johnson perform. I think it was last year when Emeka Ibuka was kind of on a downward spiral.
118:03And Mike Evans was out. So, my God, in round 27, we were talking about depth chart.
118:08And I have Buccaneers share. I have Emeka Ibuka, who we took a stand on very early.
118:14Baker Mayfield, Bucky Irving. Not able to climb down the ladder on Jalen McMillan.
118:18But to your point, it's a cruel, tough game.
118:21And a lot of players key in and key out.
118:24And look at Jalen Tolbert, round 26. He's clocking in every day to come play and ball out.
118:30And if he gets opportunity, it's just that close in the NFL.
118:34So, all these different players. Skylar Bell in round 22.
118:37You think he's going to be a zero as a rookie.
118:41But what if something happens to DJ Moore? It's just so funny and underrated.
118:46Christian Kirk is another one for the 49ers. Jack Betch, who was buried in year two.
118:51I think Elijah Surratt is a great pick. He has a pulse at this point.
118:56I know Jacoby Lane is the lead. And he's showing out at camp.
119:00But speak to Elijah Surratt. Is there anything that you like about him?
119:04Did you like him, Elijah Surratt, on draft day?
119:07I know he fell. But is this, to me, I think he's a viable pick in round 27.
119:13And it's not an automatic zero. And I think that's a win there for this team.
119:18Yeah, I think Surratt's, look, there's openings to be had at the wide receiver position for Baltimore.
119:23If this offense does open up a little bit too, you know, it's not a bad get at all.
119:30I mean, look, camp hype is camp hype. But if you really like a player and you like where they went, just
119:37because they're not getting hyped up this early on doesn't mean you shouldn't just be out on a player.
119:43One guy I would note, Malik Benson, wide receiver to the Raiders.
119:47If he's available, he'd be somebody I'd be considering.
119:50Reports are that he's running with the ones, you know, and this is an offense that really, really needs talent at the wide receiver position.
119:58So that's a really open room. And he's already getting that time with the ones.
120:03So he's somebody that I've, you know, kind of been looking at here and there.
120:08Why don't you share your other screen with the players?
120:11If you hit share tab on your screen, that's showing where you're making the selections.
120:16Why don't we take a look and just see what's left for a quick second here.
120:21And you can kind of walk through the viewers to see, you know, kind of what other players you might be looking at right now.
120:29Absolutely. Pull it up. And then here we've got Brandon Ayuk.
120:32Miradike. Can you hear me good? Yeah, I got you.
120:36All right. Theo Johnson. Mike Gusecki. Ken Allen. Chris Brown.
120:39Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. What about, well, I like Jimmy Horn a little bit now that, you know, now that what's his face is injured.
120:47I see you got Ty Felton in the queue.
120:50I got, you got no row. Chimera and DK is interesting too.
120:54I, I, I, I don't know why so many are, are interested in it.
120:58Why, why does IU Manor go ahead of DK who, who played really well last year?
121:04Well, he's there. He's available. So I, I could take Chimera and DK.
121:08Yeah. I, I, I, I, I, I'm not totally sure why that, why that's the case.
121:13Um. Yeah. We see Mike Gusecki go. Chimera and DK.
121:16So somebody's listening. Who's got tight end left? Click on, click on tight end.
121:21We got Theo, Michael Mayer. Cole Komet. Tavion Sanders.
121:24Tavion Sanders. Okay. Noah Gray. Uh, is, is Raritan left?
121:27Eli Raritan? Sure is. Yeah. He would be like a last pick kind of upside play, you know, if Hunter Henry up there in age gets hurt.
121:36Also, Raritan's made some, has had some nice camp reports too.
121:39Um, so he, he's kind of interesting. Well, we see Keenan Allen go.
121:43What do you think of that? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I'm not surprised.
121:48Keenan, Keenan is, uh, is you're, you get a lot of value on these free agent wide receivers that are veterans that are good.
121:55That just didn't sign. I mean, Debo Samuel wasn't signed.
121:59He shoots up the board. Stephon Diggs not signed.
122:02He shoots up the board, right? I mean, Keenan Allen, he'll sign somewhere and he'll be a top 200 pick in this
122:09format and possibly like, you know, top 120, 130, depending on where he goes.
122:13So, um, I don't think it's a bad pick at all.
122:17And then we see Justin Fields go. What do you make of him?
122:21Yeah. I'm, I'm good on it. I get the thought process and tournament like this, my homes come off the injury, something
122:28happens, you know, you, you get the backup and fields has the rushing upside, but, uh, yeah, I don't know if it was the Mahomes owner.
122:37I could understand. I don't know if that's the case, but, um, if it is the Mahomes owner, it makes more sense.
122:44Well, I love the Taj Brooks pick at team 108.
122:47I was looking at him, but Hey, I've got enough upside cuffs.
122:51Does team nine have four kick five kickers? It looks like it.
122:55Yeah. They do. Not really sure what's going on there, but I feel like money wasted.
123:00I don't know how five kickers just seems absolutely insane.
123:03I don't know. Maybe there's an edge that I'm not aware of.
123:07Um, that I'm missing out. Uh, I'm not sure.
123:10So you say we'll get a kicker as well and maybe another position, right?
123:14Right. Yeah. I do. That's fair. All right. Do you think you go Jalen Millrow or Eli Raritan?
123:20I'd go with Millrow over Raritan. Um, you know, just based on your quarterback room, you know, only real two starters.
123:27So. All right. I love it. I love it.
123:30I've been doing this in super flex tournaments, taking these high upside quarterbacks.
123:34It's phenomenal. So I guess the only thing we have to do left is look for kickers.
123:40Yeah. Well, team, team nine might take a sixth kicker.
123:43And then, I mean, is there any kickers left?
123:46Actually, no, they've all run out. Maybe they were trying to squeeze us.
123:50Oh, team 10 took the last one then. One pick before you last, uh, the last round.
123:56Well, we'll just have to go with the positional advantage there with the Dallas Cowboys.
124:01Whatever. All defenses are gone. So do you think, are you inclined to go towards receiver or running back?
124:07Or maybe Raritan if he comes back? What running backs are even left?
124:11Najee Harris available? We've got Seth McGowan. Devin Neal.
124:14Oh, Eli Raritan goes to team 10. Oh, yeah.
124:17They've got to be listening. Interesting. Jarquez Hunter. Phil Moffa.
124:20Adam Randall's gone. Yeah, Randall's gone. He's been gone.
124:23He was probably a couple rounds ago at least.
124:26Um, I'm thinking either Devin Neal or Seth McGowan who are still have a pulse.
124:31Najee Harris is out there as a free agent.
124:34Najee's interesting. I would prefer Najee over Devin Neal.
124:36I, I, I'm good with McGowan though. You know, you got JT with his holdout potential, um, getting up there in age.
124:44He did have issues with staying healthy a little bit ago.
124:47Um, Najee's just interesting because he's just, you just know he's going to sign somewhere and just be, be like, you know,
124:54going to crater some sort of room just in terms of their costs.
124:59Like people are just going to overreact super, super strongly to him.
125:02But I mean, this is just, Najee's such a weird situation, man.
125:06I mean, he goes from being with the Steelers, um, compile, being a compiler, not like a game breaker.
125:12And then goes to the Chargers. They, they end up draft, you know, you think he's going to have a big role.
125:20Then they go draft Hampton first round. And then you're like, well, he's going to hurt Hampton and then he gets hurt.
125:27And then it's like, well, what is he now?
125:30I don't know. But I do know he might get a role, uh, at some point.
125:35And you might say, Pete, he's not even signed.
125:38Like, well, he's coming off a torn Achilles. What are we talking about here?
125:42But I, I don't think the guy's retiring. Well, anything to somebody like Marvin Mims, who's still on the board.
125:49We talked about the Denver Broncos layer players. If he gets traded, could that be something appealing?
125:54Yeah. Mims is also, Mims is also a big play guy.
125:58So, um, there's some appeal in best ball because of that as well.
126:02Um, I don't know. Then I've also got Ty Felton.
126:05You had mentioned stacks with Kyler Murray. Would you lean him or Seth McGowan?
126:10I'd go with McGowan still. Okay. In my opinion, you know, the odds of wide receiver four on a team being viable
126:17in any way for you versus possibly, you know, running back two on a team.
126:22You know, there's a much clearer path to being successful.
126:25You know? Pete, can you believe that Brandon Iyuk went in round 29?
126:29Yes. Like, I don't even think he has a pulse.
126:32Do you think there's any tangible way that he could be on a team this season?
126:38I don't think he is. I don't think. Oh, there's Tuffer down.
126:42Oh, it's Michael. Michael is listening. Hey, good pick, man.
126:45Great pick. Great pick. No, I don't think he gets on a team.
126:49He's cooked, man. I really think so. So, you're saying it's Tjover.
126:53I think it's Tjover, too. It's Tuff and Dynasty not having all these dead shares of Brandon Iyuk.
126:59What a terrible feeling. Do you have any of him in Dynasty?
127:03No. I moved off of him. There were times, you know, it seemed like, hey, was there some value?
127:09I should try to get him at a discount.
127:12And then I just never pulled the trigger. We see Anthony Richardson go viable pick this late.
127:17I mean, I'd go with somebody like Jalen Milrow.
127:20Any path for Anthony Richardson? Yeah, I mean, he's got the trade request in.
127:25We'll see if that amounts to anything. But, yeah, I mean, it's a good pick.
127:30With Daniel Jones coming off the injury and his inability to stay healthy, too, it's not a bad pick at all.
127:36So, we're coming on the last round. And it's basically players who are in the polls.
127:42It's funny we see Ty Simpson go. I like that play.
127:45In the event that Matthew Stafford gets hurt, you're looking at the Rams being a phenomenal play.
127:51Yep, I agree. Genevion Sanders goes to Michael. Something to note, too.
127:54I think he has an ankle injury. I think he got dinged up in practice, which is a bummer.
128:01Sanders has always been a guy that people have really been higher on and liked.
128:05So, hopefully he can stay healthy because there's a lot of opportunity in that room.
128:10Cole Komet goes. I know you had him cued.
128:13Jahan Dotson goes. He's got a chance to technically be the wide receiver, too, there.
128:18You know, by the depth chart, I guess. So, there's some upside there.
128:22Malik Davis. So, man, I really hope somebody doesn't take Ty Felton on me, if anyone's listening.
128:28Is that what you're thinking, though? Is that going to be the pick, Felton?
128:32Yes, Pete. It's 100% going to be Ty Felton.
128:35No one can stop me. No one can pick him in front of me.
128:40These next three picks. It's kind of funny, as we look at the board, there's so much purple and orange in this bottom half.
128:48It's just funny how things start and end. Dude, Team 9, I mean, what an absolute joke of a roster.
128:54I'm sorry, but if this person ever listens to this, I mean, this person, Team 9, has three defenses and five kickers.
129:01And you look at where this person took them.
129:04It's like from around 16 to 30. Like, he killed most of his board.
129:09And he took a bunch of backup quarterbacks, Shador Sanders and Jameis Winston in that time.
129:14I mean, he's got so many dead picks here.
129:17That's really, really brutal. That's a really bad way to go about it.
129:21I'm sorry. I'm just going to be honest. And there's been no, like, auto draft that I've noticed.
129:27So it's active clicks, I guess. Maybe if you don't know all the players that are out there.
129:33But here I am, Pete. I know I talked about Ty Felton.
129:37I lied my face off. I'm going with Bryce Lance.
129:40What if you get Jordan Tyson, who's injury prone?
129:43You get Chris Labe, who has concussions. You're not one step off.
129:47Round four draft capital. He's a layered play. I love having him.
129:50So I could have gotten the stack with Ty Felton, but I think it's too cute.
129:56I actually like the idea of Bryce Lance. So a sleeper for me.
130:00To get him in round 30, I am elated.
130:03Yeah, I like it. Bryce Lance, good offense, really, really good schedule.
130:07And somebody who can absolutely carve out a decent role and have some spike weeks.
130:12So I don't hate to pick it all. Why don't you read the team off?
130:16Michael, thank you for drafting with us. Anybody else that drafted with us, thank you guys so much.
130:22We'll be back doing this again soon. If you heard on the audio side, thank you for hopping in as well.
130:29Jeremiah, read the team. And make sure we read the promo, and then we'll get out of here.
130:35All right, so we have Chase Brown, Emeka Buka, George Pickens, Bucky Irving, Parker Washington, Makai Lemon, Jordan Addison.
130:41And then we stack Baker Mayfield with Emeka Buka and Bucky Irving.
130:45We stack Kyler Murray with Jordan Addison. As we go down the board, third RB is Jonah Coleman.
130:51And then in round 11, Casey Concepcion, just another layered player that we love.
130:55Dallas Cowboys team kicker. He's our only kicker in round 12.
130:59We're going to get positional advantage. Bretton Strange. I waited until round 13 for me to come away in the entirety of the tight end room of Strange.
131:08Dalton Schultz in round 17. In round 20, Eli Stowers.
131:11I am elated. I have a cool thing going on with Parker Washington and Bretton Strange with a receiver and a tight end.
131:19I have a cool thing with Eli Stowers and Makai Lemon with a receiver and tight end with a quarterback I don't have in Jalen Hurts.
131:27Jaguars, Eagles respectively, high octane offenses. And then we've got DeMond Claiborne, Tyler Algier, Ray Davis, Ollie Gordon, Isaiah Davis.
131:34I took shots on all these running backs who I think I've got so much leverage on the rest of the draft
131:41board and hopefully the entirety of this contest. Layered player receivers, Trey Harris, Torrey Horton, Alec A.
131:46Manor. And then down to, I can't sit here and act like I intentionally came out with Tez Johnson, Malik Benson, or Bryce Lance.
131:54But as you know to Pete, Malik Benson running with the ones.
131:58I am stealing in round 27 if that's the case.
132:01And then I did take some risk in some places by building my team how much I did.
132:07It's Mack Jones and Jalen Milrow who may not fill much of any points for me this year.
132:13So Pete, if you want to go, everyone on high stakes, sign up with Player Profiler, NFFC, first time 100.
