Courtland Sutton

NegativeRole0:45

Sutton has come to terms with the fact that he will have less targets and less opportunity this year to score fantasy points and touchdowns. The downstream effect of the Broncos trading for Jalen Waddle is that his days as a top-36 fantasy receiver are probably over.

Insight page

Eli Raridon

PositiveBreakout10:30

Rariton is a super-athletic, big, seam-stretching tight end who contributes to the Chargers' philosophy of being one of the most explosive passing attacks in the NFL. While he probably won't contribute in weeks 1-3, by midway through the season his routes should tick up, and by end of year, if he's the long-term starter plan, he'll be contributing in a meaningful way to fantasy lineups.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeProjection62:05

Matt Kelley would not select Garrett Wilson in the Scott Fishbowl league despite his availability. Wilson is not particularly dynamic or explosive, has never been a good yards-after-catch producer, and is not good in yards per route run. Kelley describes him as a peak possession receiver without the juice needed to capitalize on the big-play bonus structure (10 points for 20+ yard receptions).

Insight page

Greg Dulcich

NegativeProjection13:00

Dulcich is the best outright pass catcher on the Dolphins and likely leads the team in targets among wide receivers and tight ends. At current prices, he's the best bet remaining on the board for pure volume in a format where volume matters more for tight ends, though the long arc of history is not favorable to guys who do nothing for a long period of time.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

NegativeProjection62:26

Harold Fannin's projection in the Scott Fishbowl league is gigantic due to the big-play bonus structure (10 points for 20+ yard receptions), but he faces uncertainty regarding Casey Concepcion's quality, Jerry Judy's remaining production, and the Cardinals' quarterback situation with multiple QBs expected throughout the season. His projection is close enough to receivers like George Pickens, Chris Olave, and Garrett Wilson that safer receiver options may be preferable.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveRole7:00

Dobbins is the team captain and the player the Broncos talk about most alongside Jalen Waddle. He's a size-speed specimen who has been dealing with bad knees but has had injections and surgeries, and is showing up for the first time this year not rehabbing any injuries, looking pretty explosive in early practices. Matt Kelley drafted J.K. Dobbins at pick 1208 in a half-PPR, all-flex, super-flex startup, indicating confidence in his value at that draft position in a format where running backs are premium.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveProjection1:45

Waddle's yards per route run and targets per route run comps very closely to DK Metcalf, Zay Flowers, and Devonta Smith—players who have been given chances to be their team's wide receiver one. He set the receptions record as a rookie when he had the opportunity to be Miami's WR1 on a bad Dolphins team. Now with Denver, he has his best opportunity to consolidate targets in a functioning offense with him as the clear WR1. He has demonstrated versatility across multiple offensive styles: as a rookie on a bad Dolphins team he was a low-ADOT checkdown merchant with 142 targets; under Tyreek Hill he shifted to a hyper-efficient field-stretching role; he has put up 1,300+ air yards in two seasons and sub-900 air yards in others, with yards per reception ranging from 18.1 to 9.8, showing he can be deployed wherever the team needs him.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveUsage60:57

Matt Kelley expects Jeremiah Love to lead the Cardinals in carries over Tyler Algier in the first four weeks, viewing Love as the primary back despite Algier being a top-five draft pick. Kelley would take even money on Love out-carrying Algier early in the season.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

PositiveProjection57:24

Matt Kelley references the Kenneth Gainwell corollary: a running back who is not a strong between-the-tackles runner but demonstrates elite pass-catching ability can still produce as a featured back once given the opportunity. Gainwell's pass-catching production signaled his overall quality as a player and eventually led to increased volume, validating the principle that elite receiving efficiency can drive future production even when rushing metrics are modest.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveValue59:55

Matt Kelley is bullish on Kyler Murray as a value pick at his current price. Murray was on pace for approximately 550–600 rushing yards last year, which would have led all quarterbacks in rushing. Kelley emphasizes Murray does not need to live up to his five-year-old superstar hype as a passer—only needs to play 17 games, execute competent football, and maintain his rushing volume from last year, which Kelley sees no reason he won't continue. Kelley describes Murray as a guilty pleasure pick, acknowledging skepticism about his commitment but arguing that even at his price, the upside is there; notes Murray is incentivized by a major contract decision coming in eight months and believes he is genuinely invested in performing well for the Vikings. Kelley also notes a three-year fantasy window with Murray for rushing utility that won't exist with other young QBs, as his escapability will remain valuable through his early thirties before utility drops dramatically after age 33–34.

Insight page

LeQuint Allen

PositiveRole57:38

LaQuint Allen is not a great between-the-tackles runner, but his electricity and dynamic pass-catching ability incentivized the team to keep him on the field more. Matt Kelley demonstrates how elite receiving production can drive increased offensive role and volume, with teams willing to expand usage once they see what a player can do in the passing game.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

NegativeRole9:00

Mayer's own team (Raiders) doesn't seem to have strong belief in him despite being a good prospect coming into the NFL. His relationship with the team has impacted his playing time, and Brock Bowers has mostly nuked that playing time. By the end of his rookie contract he has done nothing, making him a worse prospect than Eli Rariton.

Insight page

Sean Tucker

NegativeBreakout15:00

Tucker has contingent value where any injury to Bucky Irving or Kenneth Gainwell helps him immensely. He has an all-purpose skillset and only fell out of the draft because of a heart condition that is no longer a concern. Every time he gets on the field with 10 touches, he produces another 100-yard or multi-touchdown game.

0:48And we're live on Match Day as Doug reaches for a buffalo wing.
0:51He's got it! Oh and he's going for a can of Pepsi too!
0:55What a finish! There's no doubt about it. It just tastes better.
0:59Match days deserve Pepsi. I'm Puka Nakua and you're listening to my man, the Podfather.
1:03This is the My Dimension Program. I'm here with Kyle Dvorak from Roto World, one of my favorite places to go for fantasy information, analysis, etc., etc., etc.
1:11There's a bunch of teams and a bunch of situations in particular that we have not talked enough about.
1:16Talking about the Minnesota Vikings and their passing game, the Denver Broncos and their running game and on down the board.
1:22We just haven't talked enough about certain situations on certain teams because, hey, they're stable.
1:26Nothing to see here. The Lions passing game. What more do you need to talk about?
1:31Actually, we do need to talk about it. So there's a lot to talk about today on the My Dimension Program.
1:37No one, no one is talking about the Denver passing game at all.
1:41And then I go to Roto World and there's a little bit of a reminder there.
1:45A little news item on one Cortland Sutton. That Cortland Sutton has sort of, he has, he's come to terms with the
1:51fact that he is going to have less targets.
1:54He's going to deal with less targets. He's going to have less opportunity this year to score fantasy points and touchdowns and everything else.
2:01And it's just, well, what is going to, so few people are talking about the Denver Broncos passing game.
2:06They're drafting Jalen Waddell in those early mid rounds of best ball and really not thinking about it after that.
2:12It's funny because when you were setting this up, my thought was like, yeah, I just dropped Jalen Waddell.
2:17I frankly don't think about it a lot. Like, is he incredible?
2:21No, he's probably not. But is he very good?
2:23Yeah, he's a really solid player. Like when you look at since entering the NFL, both his yards per route run and
2:30his targets per route run actually fit very comfortably in a similar mold of wide receivers who are not true wide receiver
2:36ones in the sense of like they're superstars. But they've all been given chances to be their team's wide receiver one.
2:42He actually comps just by yards and targets per route run very closely to DK Metcalf, Zay Flowers, Devo Samuel.
2:48These guys who like, I don't even want to say in a pinch over a four or five year stretch.
2:53You're content with them as your football team's wide receiver one.
2:56You haven't shot for the stars with them, but they can functionally lead a team's passing game comfortably.
3:01And Jalen Waddell has at no point since his rookie season, maybe since his second year, I think since the second year
3:08or his rookie season had the opportunity to do that.
3:11He set the receptions record as a rookie when he did have the opportunity to be his team's wide receiver one.
3:17It was on a really bad Dolphins team. So I do just kind of take it for granted that like, yeah, Waddell's good.
3:23Yeah, the Broncos do pass a lot and Phoenix is fine.
3:26Waddell's going to score a lot of fantasy points.
3:29I do think the downstream effect, which Court and Sutton knows apparently, very self-aware of him to know that the downstream effect
3:35of them trading for Jalen Waddell is like, guess my days is a top 36 fantasy receiver.
3:40I'm sure that's what he's thinking. My days is a top 36 fantasy receiver.
3:44They're kind of over. And I think they probably kind of are.
3:47Yeah. He's like, you know, I don't think that we have any individuals or personalities in our offense are going to be
3:54saying things like, hey, I need this. I need that.
3:56I think I have a bunch of guys that are willing to put their pride aside and say, what do I need
4:03to do for this team to be successful? That is code for I'm going to be a team player.
4:08I'm a company man. I'm a company man. And you know what?
4:11Jalen Waddell is the best player we have on offense.
4:14Like he's he's he's their best offensive playmaker. It is important to go back in time to 2021 when there was no
4:21Tyree kill and he did put up 15.4 fantasy points per game.
4:24And he was lauded as like, hey, this guy is the same draft class as Jamar Chase.
4:29And it's like, hey, get Jamar Chase. And then just after Jamar Chase and notch down, there's Jalen Waddell.
4:34And then Tyree kill arrives and the targets collapse from 142 as a rookie down to 116, 104, 100.
4:40So he has a 140 target season in him.
4:42Probably it's going to be this year because how old is this guy?
4:46He is 27. He's in his prime comparable to Steve Smith.
4:49He's going to have a great year. Just get ready for it.
4:52Yeah, and I think it's important to note that not only did he have that rookie season, but he's played extremely successfully
4:59in a completely different style of offense and style of player.
5:02That rookie season, he was like for better or worse, like this is all the offense could support was the like low ADOT checkdown merchant.
5:09We need a wide receiver one because the rest of this team is terrible.
5:13We don't care too much about your efficiency. Getting the ball in your hand, Jalen Waddell, is really all this offense has to offer.
5:20And we're going to do it as often as we can.
5:23And it results in like, yeah, he has a ton of targets and a ton of catches, not a ton of yards.
5:29But then we see him play almost like truly like almost an opposite style of football where you are the hyper efficient wide receiver to opposite Tyree kill.
5:37It's like the opposite of the ski of the checkdown merchant stuff that he did as a rookie.
5:42He was really good at both of those things.
5:45And he continued to do more so of the field stretching wide receivers to stop once Tyree kill was there.
5:50He was really good at that. He's really good at just earning a lot of targets short and intermediate.
5:56He's kind of done it all throughout his career.
5:58It just hasn't happened all at once because his team has either not needed it when they had Tyree kill.
6:04They couldn't support an elite deep passing game in his first season because they were terrible that year.
6:09Now this is probably the best opportunity he's ever gotten to both consolidate targets, but do so in a way that isn't
6:15just like PPR merchant stuff the way it was as a rookie.
6:19So yeah, I think he could just do it all, do it all pretty well.
6:23And now do it all on an offense that is functioning well with him as the clear wide receiver.
6:29Yeah, he's most similar to Zay Flowers in terms of when you look at the ability and the situation, what you can expect from him this year.
6:36I prefer Flowers, but once Flowers is off the board, give me Jalen Waddle, man.
6:40I mean, every year he does it a different way.
6:43Puts up the big air yard numbers, 1,300 plus air yards, two seasons.
6:47Had sub 900 air yards to other seasons where he was doing it with Yak.
6:51I mean, we have a year where he had 18.1 yards per reception following a year where he had a 9.8 yards per reception.
6:58And he is just being deployed wherever they need him.
7:01And that's pretty much what Cortland Sutton was alluding to in his quote.
7:05He was saying, hey, we just kind of do what we need to do.
7:09And if he has that attitude, Jalen Waddle has that attitude.
7:12Dude, that's really good for the Denver Broncos. Like if you're a Denver Broncos fan, if you think that the Broncos are
7:18going to exceed expectations, whether it would be their over-under win totals, whatever it is.
7:22Like this is all a really good sign for the Broncos offense.
7:26I think the Broncos offense just in general is healthy.
7:29And that's why the two players that I'm investing in are the players that they keep talking about.
7:34When they talk about the offense, other than Bo Nix, of course, the quarterback, the two players they talk about a lot
7:40in Denver are Jalen Waddle and J.K. Dobbins. J.K.
7:42Dobbins and Jalen Waddle. Now, we as fantasy gamers love to talk about R.J.
7:46Harvey, love to talk about rookies like Jonah Coleman.
7:49But in reality, it's like the team captain is J.K.
7:52Dobbins. And he is the one that's talked about.
7:54It's like, hey, we got we got Nix. We got Dobbins.
7:58You know, we got we got Sertan. I'm like, wait a second.
8:01Nix, Dobbins, Sertan. What is that? That's the firepower you're right.
8:04And they're like, yeah, this guy is a size speed specimen.
8:07He's been dealing with bad knees, but he's had injections and surgeries.
8:11And this year he's showing up for the first time, not rehabbing any injuries.
8:15And he looks pretty damn explosive out there in these early practices.
8:18And it's like, OK, OK, you don't have to convince me.
8:21Right. I just drafted him. I'm actually in a startup right now.
8:25And it's all flex, half PPR. And you're goddamn right.
8:27I drafted J.K. Dobbins. J.K. Dobbins, half PPR. Right.
8:30Half PPR, all flex with super flex. I got J.K.
8:33Dobbins at the 1208. I'll pull this up right now.
8:36I'm going to pull this up on the screen right now so we can all check it out.
8:41This is a startup that I'm in. I'm actually on the clock.
8:44So this will be fun to talk about. I don't think I'm going to be drafting any Broncos in this particular draft spot.
8:51But as you can see, I traded down. We are now in round 17.
8:55And someone really wanted my pick to trade up for Catron Allen, who will probably be a game day inactive to start the season.
9:02So game day inactive Catron Allen was a highly sought after asset, apparently.
9:05And I was happy to deal that pick and bank an extra pick in a few rounds.
9:10I think round 22, I got an extra pick out of it.
9:14So I'll take it. And now I'm drafting almost back to back right now.
9:17I'm in the mode where I have a bunch of quarterbacks to get everyone caught up on how this draft has played out.
9:24I basically went running back for the first six rounds because I could.
9:28I was like, this is half PPR, all flex guys.
9:31Why not Cam Scadaboo? Why not Christian McCaffrey? Why not Brees Hall?
9:34Why not Jonathan Taylor? Why not Jeremiah Love? And I started with Puka Nakua.
9:38Finally, at the 705, I finally decided to go quarterback after playing chicken on quarterback.
9:42Kyler Murray was off the board. I wanted Kyler Murray.
9:45We'll talk about Kyler Murray later. I love Kyler Murray this year.
9:49He's certainly going to be a topic of conversation with myself and Kyle.
9:52But I went Matthew Stafford. I think he's pretty good.
9:55He did pretty well last year, and I think he's going to do well again this year.
10:00Pretty sure he's going to play next year based on how they structured his contract and just the incentives and the fact
10:06that Aaron Rodgers is still in the league. So I feel like this is a nice two-year window.
10:11I have a quarterback with Matthew Stafford. Then David Montgomery at the 808.
10:15Daniel Jones at the 905. Chuba Hubbard at the 1008.
10:18Brissette, Dobbins, Kelsey, because it is tight end super, super premium.
10:21It's half PPR for running backs and wide receivers.
10:23It's 1.25 PPR for tight ends. So my plan was hit all the half PPR super backs all the way through J.K.
10:30Dobbins. And then make sure you take advantage of the tight end scoring by taking value tight ends.
10:35And Kelsey at the 1305. I know this seems like an old team, but it is a Jeremiah Love team.
10:41It is a Cam Scadaboo team. It is a Puka Nakua team.
10:44So it's not that old. Geno Smith, Shader Sanders.
10:47But now we've got essentially back-to-back picks. And I am pretty locked in to taking advantage of this tight end scoring.
10:52We are considering Eli Raritan. We are considering Michael Mayer.
10:55We're considering Greg Dulcich. Who should I draft? I mean, you are considering these guys.
11:00We, if we average out our who we are considering, I think we're just taking Raritan.
11:04And look, I thought Michael Mayer coming into the NFL was frankly a really good prospect, but his own team doesn't really seem to have that belief.
11:12This team has been pretty stupid for the past few years.
11:15So I'm not going to put a ton of weight in the fact, like, you know, the Raiders, they couldn't let Brock Bowers fall any further.
11:22If you remember that draft, he was supposed to go top 10 and he kept slipping.
11:27Pick 11, pick 12, pick 13. And eventually they were like, someone has to draft this guy.
11:32He's a superstar. We'll figure it out. Frankly, one of the only smart things they've done.
11:36At one point, it seemed like he, he like did seem to very clearly want to trade to get off the team.
11:43So I think probably his relationship with the team has impacted his playing time.
11:47And then Brock Bowers has obviously mostly nuked that playing time.
11:50But if you're looking at a guy who by the end of his rookie contract has done nothing, I'll just re-roll the dice.
11:56I'm probably a worse prospect than Eli Raritan, but I'll re-roll the dice, get to start right over at that rookie contract.
12:02And it would not shock me if by the end of this year, Eli Raritan is at least forcing a committee, if
12:09not being straight up the starter over Hunter Henry, who's fine.
12:12Hunter Henry is a perfectly acceptable starter. But I think when you look at what this team wants to do, they want
12:18to be one of the most explosive passing attacks in the NFL.
12:22Raritan as like a super Rass, big dude, seam stretching tight end.
12:25He really does contribute to that philosophy of playing offense.
12:28Will he contribute to that in week one? Probably not.
12:31In two or three? Probably not. Midway through the season, maybe we start seeing his routes tick up.
12:36End of the year, if they're planning on him being the long-term starter, which I think is probably the plan.
12:41I think he'd be contributing at the end of the year.
12:45And I think he'd be contributing in a way that really does hit your fantasy lineups in a meaningful way, in a
12:51way that Mayer may still be good, but he's probably not doing that this year.
12:55Greg Dulcich maybe is contributing this year, but I do think when you look at the long arc of history, guys who
13:01do so little through their career like Greg Dulcich and don't have an alibi as strong as Michael Mayer.
13:07Playing behind Brock Bowers is a legit good alibi, but you don't have that kind of alibi for Greg Dulcich.
13:12I want to draft Greg Dulcich. I liked him a long time ago.
13:16There's a clear path to targets here. Guys who do as little as he's done are very thin bets.
13:22So I'll just roll, I think take the best re-roll the dice with Raritan.
13:26If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That sounds right until you actually do the math.
13:30For most businesses, shipping is that thing. What's it actually costing you?
13:33Because if nobody's questioning it, it's probably costing way more than it should.
13:37Because most businesses are overpaying on shipping without even realizing it.
13:40So ShipStation automatically compares rates across UPS, USPS, FedEx on every order with savings of up to 90%.

15:01There's also Jordan James because I do have Christian McCaffrey.
15:04It seems early for Jordan James, but you start to see the Caelan Blacks, Adam Randles get drafted, Caleb Johnson, Tyler Algier.
15:10So it's starting to get to that point, but I think we're probably a round away from needing to draft a guy like Jordan James.
15:17I could be wrong. The beauty of all flexes, you don't need to worry about handcuffing running backs.
15:22You also don't even need to worry about the tight end position.
15:26Like nothing matters. Just get guys in the starting lineup and it could be anybody.
15:30I almost described this as an anarchy format. Like while you were going through your lineup, that's what I was thinking.
15:36And then we both reached the same conclusion that both nothing matters here, but that means everything matters in some opposite reflective way.
15:43Yeah. And if things break Raritan's way, he would be a smash here.
15:46And it's funny because I've been in a lot of startups that are tight end premium, not tight end premium.
15:52In any case, Raritan always goes before Hunter Henry and Dynasty.
15:55Always. And now to see him here is still available after Max Clare is off the board.
16:00After Terrence Ferguson is off the board. I'm very happy to, I'm just going to go pick them right now.
16:06Can I just pick them right now? Go for it.
16:09Go for it. Let her rip. Oh, that felt good.
16:11Oh, oh. So yeah. Then we have to decide.
16:14I think we should we go. Okay. We have another pick coming up in a moment.
16:18Should we keep going rookies with like an Oscar Delp or a Justin Jolie?
16:22Or do we, do we just, do we go Greg Dulcich and get the production this year?
16:27Because he could accrue some serious value. He's still young.
16:30He's athletic and still young. Oh, Juwan Jennings just went.
16:33So I think we go back to tight end, but it's the same debate is we have Dulcich who is going to
16:39probably accrue the most value this year. We have Michael Mayer who will be well positioned for a big contract and a
16:45bump in fantasy value, especially dynasty value next year.
16:48And then we have potential breakout tight ends that are rookies that are athletic rookies in Oscar Delp or Justin Jolie.
16:54Which direction do you want to go? I know I just kind of bagged on Greg Dulcich, but it was in the
17:00context of, I think Eli Raritan is a better pick.
17:03Like I like to be, I want to be taking Greg Dulcich in particularly in best box.
17:08I do think, like I said, the long arc of history is not favorable to guys who do nothing for a long
17:14period of time, but this is a unique situation.
17:17I do truly think there's a lot of scenarios in which among the wide receivers and tight ends on the Dolphins, he
17:23just leads the team in targets, like start to finish.
17:26HAN probably leads the team targets in total, but as far as the wide receivers and tight ends go, I do think
17:32Dulcich is probably just the best outright pass catcher this team has.
17:36They're not going to throw a lot. I don't know if he's that good, but at these prices, it's, I think the
17:42best best bet remaining on the board just for pure volume in a format in which volume does matter more for tight ends.
17:48Obviously there's another running back to consider because it is half PPR Sean Tucker.
17:52I like that one. You didn't mention him. So I was going to ignore it.
17:57I was like, oh, he didn't mention them. I'll just, we could go Sean Tucker.
18:01I think of all the guys that are available right now, Sean Tucker has the contingent value where any injury helps him immensely injury to Bucky Irving.
18:09He'll, he'll, or Kenneth Gainwell, and he'll have a pop.
18:11And he has an all purpose skillset. He only fell out of the draft because of a heart condition.
18:17That's something that is no longer a concern. I, I'm, I was about to, to just bundle the tight ends and just pick the best one.
18:24But now I'm looking at, at who's available. And I'm, I'm starting to lean Sean Tucker.
18:29No, the pick is Tucker. You didn't mention Tucker.
18:31So I was like, I'm not the, I'm not the GM in this team.
18:35I don't need to be giving my feedback on every player.
18:38But as soon as you brought up Tucker, I was like, okay, we've gotten to the right place here.
18:44I agree. Like Tucker, every time Tucker gets on the field and they give him 10 touches, like, oh, there's another hundred yard game.
18:51Like there's another multi-touchdown game. Does he get on the field all that much this year?
18:55I'm not sure. I truly don't tell you, but if like, like you said, if anything happens to probably either of the
19:01starters, there's enough role for him to be fantasy relevant.
19:04And he sort of strikes me as maybe like the Michael mayor type where maybe not, you know, this coming year, but
19:11within the next year or two, once he hits free agency, some team will see what he's done and value him quite highly.
19:17So I think there's both room for some growth this year based on injuries ahead of him, or just playing himself into
19:23a committee role and probably a room for a lot of growth, maybe down the road in a year or two.
19:29So, okay. Final answer. If we're going running back, Sean Tucker or Ollie Gordon?
19:33Oh, Sean Tucker. Like one of the, no, it's easily Sean.
19:36We're going Sean Tucker. Oh, we just did it.
19:39We can take it. Oh man. I I'm so glad we did this because as much Dulcich as I already have, and I want more.
19:46And as much as I love Dulcich and he is still young because it is dynasty.
19:51And I do just like the idea of getting a guy that I think could earn a big next contract.
19:56That's kind of why I'm like, oh, he's like leaning mayor a little bit in that case.
20:01Cause he has like the most potential. He has the draft capital.
20:05He has the physical profile. He has the college production with Sean Tucker.
20:08He's got the size, the speed, the all-purpose skill set, and both these guys could earn big contracts or reasonable contracts that,
20:15that would dictate significant opportunity in 2027 with contingent value in case of an injury this year.
20:19So really I think, yeah, we circled around it a couple of times.
20:23We did a couple of loops around the airport and then we landed the plane nicely with the upside tight end in
20:29Raritan and then the upside running back because we have our starting lineup, man.
20:33We have, we don't need to worry too much about Greg Dulcich's target share because these are players on our bench that
20:40we just want to have the ability to inject into our lineup if things break their way.
20:44Yeah. I don't really like, I'm not sure who the other running backs were there, but I think just as purely a
20:51talent-based bet both in this format, but honestly, for me, it's been in best ball too.
20:55Like Tucker is, he'll have somewhat of a role.
20:58It might not hit your lineup all that often, but it was purely a talent-based bet.
21:02It does just seem like if I were drafting a real life NFL team, but I was using like the 16th round
21:09and beyond that are available to me in best ball drafts.
21:12He just would clearly be the best running back as far as real life NFL value goes.
21:17And I think he has a small role, but it legitimately, you know, he could put up, he could score and have,
21:23you know, 50, 60 rushing yards in a game just on eight, 10 carries got a lot of goal line work last year.
21:29They didn't maybe don't seem to trust Bucky Irving that role.
21:32The standalone role is enough to crack your lineup, but the talent is enough to blow away all.
21:38Yeah. Like all the other picks in like, you know, the late rounds of best box.
21:42He's just actually good. I feel like I'm Tucker there, but my, honestly, my pitch for Tucker almost ended with in a
21:48year, we could be viewing him like Chris Rodriguez.
21:51I do think he's a better player than Chris Rodriguez.
21:54The setup right now for Rodriguez is probably better.
21:56Like I look, I love tootin. I'm a tootin slappy to my core.
22:00I think he's very good. You are. You're tootin slappy.
22:03Tootin slappy. With that being said, a lot of the players that slappies love, they just don't hit.
22:08Like that's, you hope you hit at a higher rate than the market.
22:12You don't hope every pick you get is correct.
22:14Tootin could be bad. And that would be really good for Chris Rodriguez.
22:18So I don't know. Maybe he should have been the pick there.
22:21I don't think he's as good as Sean Tucker.
22:24I do think the 2026, how many carries does he have?
22:27It's probably more. I think we have enough. We haven't with JK Dobbins and Hubbard and David Montgomery.
22:32I think we have enough running backs that give us early down appeal over and above what Chris Rodriguez offers.
22:38I think we're good. I think we're good. Yeah.
22:40Tucker's a shoot for the moon pick amongst. I want to shoot for the moon at this point.
22:46Our starting lineup was set a few rounds ago.
22:48Travis Kelsey wouldn't even enter our starting lineup at this point, much less Chris Rodriguez.
22:52Also, a guy like Chris Rodriguez, sometimes they make it back to you.
22:56It's like no one really wants to make that pick.
22:59No one really wants to push the button on Jordan Mason.
23:02No one really wants to push the button on Chris Rodriguez.
23:05So sometimes I just end up passing on them and then begrudgingly drafting them around after I was considering them because it's
23:11like, hey, no one really wants these guys. But eventually they need to be drafted.
23:16What do you think about the contingent value? Speaking of like a talk about, I mean, a scenario or a situation or
23:22a group of players that no one talks about.
23:25I mean, the Houston Texans backfield. I mean, no one is interested in this.
23:29But, you know, I just saw, you know, on Roto World some news about Woody Marks and that Woody Marks is going
23:35to have a role, which we knew we knew he's going to be a satellite back.
23:39But he almost had 200 carries last year and he's not going to come close to that.
23:44And it's just interesting to see the type of fantasy spin that you can put on a particular player when it says,
23:50oh, well, he's Woody Marks going to have a lot of versatility this year.
23:54Like he's going to have a lot of he's they're going to deploy him in a lot of different ways.
24:00And then we actually break it down. If one of those ways is special teams and the other way is like third and long.
24:07Well, he's going to be pass blocking. He's going to be on kick return duty.
24:11It's not really going to be scoring fantasy points, but it is fun to say that he's versatile and they're going to
24:17deploy him all over the place at the end of the day is the David Montgomery show.
24:22So what do you think of that Houston backfield?
24:25That's how I've been treating it. I mean, they spent a surprising amount for like who was last year veteran backup running back David Montgomery.
24:32He did play well last year. He was particularly efficient.
24:35He was a good and rush yards over expected.
24:37Like he was decent yards after contact. He's had good pass catching numbers in a limited pass catching role in Detroit, but
24:44he just was a veteran backup running back. And the team went out and traded, I think a fourth round pick and a seventh round pick.
24:51And they're like three and two scrubs for whatever it's worth, which is very little, but they did trade a fourth round pick and a seventh round pick.
24:59And we saw them do this at least somewhat similarly with Joe Mixon three years ago at this point where they went
25:05out and made a notable commitment to this player.
25:08They made a much bigger commitment this time around than they did to Joe Mixon, but they go out and they make
25:14a pretty reasonable commitment to a player. I think David Montgomery still has juice in the tank.
25:19And then I said, he was really, really efficient last year, all things considered.
25:23And the alternative is Woody Marks, who was not a good running back.
25:27He's a good pass catcher, but he was just legitimately not a good running back prospect.
25:31And last year was not efficient in a bad situation.
25:34I think the team through their actions has told us exactly how they feel.
25:38But then as you point out, the beat reporters are also more or less just telling us how the team feels.
25:44I mean, it was specifically the Roto World blurb as he's adapting smoothly to his new role includes complimentary rushing, passing game
25:50usage, and to your point, kick returns. Like this is a versatile, they talk about him like the RV three.
25:56Like when you're talking about kick returns, it more sounds like he's the RV three.
26:00He will be the RV two. But I think the Delta between him and David Montgomery might look like that of an RV one versus an RV three.
26:08So David Montgomery is not a like fun click.
26:11You don't get a lot of screenshot equity posting your David Montgomery best ball teams on Twitter.
26:15But like you got to eat your vegetables. And we'll talk about this later, but like the early running backs, they're probably
26:22relative to years past as good as they've ever been.
26:25Oh, for sure. And the wide receiver two landscape is just desolate.
26:28That's the other problem. We talked about this with Davis Maddock, the death of the wide receiver two.
26:33So if you have a Puka Nakua, great. But if you have, you know, Jaden Higgins, what are you really getting from Jaden Higgins this year?
26:41What are you really getting from Dalton Schultz? I know you can tell yourself a story that this is like an eat
26:47your vegetables type of tight end and Dalton Schultz, but Dalton Schultz only makes sense if they're going to throw above expectation.
26:53Everything we're hearing is that they want to run the ball.
26:56And so more than any other year in my time in this business, I am listening to the teams talk about their identity.
27:03And I'm internalizing that because so often I want to impose what I think their identity should be based on their personnel.
27:09And then inevitably they end up just doing the thing they said they were going to do all summer.
27:14And what are the Texans saying they're going to do?
27:17Run the ball. They want to run the ball and play defense.
27:21And they feel like the biggest change, the big regret they had from last year is they let it get away from them.
27:27And they started getting too aggressive and the pass rate got too high and they lost their identity and they need to wind that back.
27:34And that's bad for Stroud. That's bad for the entire passing game.
27:38It's going to be very hard for Dalton Schultz to get there because he's not a playmaker in his own right.
27:44A guy like Dalton Schultz is productive when he's on Dallas or when he's on Houston and they go pass happy for no reason.
27:50But when they're not and he has to make it up with yards after the catch, it's not going to happen.
27:56That's not who he is. It's a situational asset.
27:59And I don't love that situation for the Houston passing game.
28:02I love it for the running game. So just like on this dynasty team, 29 year old David Montgomery has never had a 250 carry season.
28:10Never had it. In fact, recently he's had two seasons with under 200 carries and his yards per carry was as high as it's ever been last year.
28:18So he absolutely has some juice left at least a year.
28:21He's also comparable to Frank Gore. So we could be talking about David Montgomery in two years.
28:25I think he's not fun to talk about now.
28:28Imagine talking about David Montgomery in 2028. Yeah, it's not fun.
28:31But we saw Joe Mixon who, I mean, I was going to say he's like kind of near the end of his career.
28:38No, quite literally was at the final hours of his career.
28:41Still putting up monster fantasy numbers on this Houston team.
28:44And to your point, they've given us all the signals that they, I think, I don't want to say their credit.
28:50I understand the logic. They don't want to put Stroud in harm's way.
28:53They want to support him with a strong run game and a great defense.
28:57I do think teams say that a lot. And then they end up like screwing over their quarterbacks.
29:02Like we supported you with the first down carry for three yards.
29:06Teams do operate that way. And I believe the Texans want to operate that way.
29:10To your point, I drafted almost no Jaden Higgins.
29:13At least Schultz is dirt cheap. Like you can at least like, oh, whatever.
29:17He'll crack the top 15 tight ends. And he goes, it's like tight end 23.
29:21Higgins is not cheap. We are pricing like a breakout is very much on the table.
29:26And they have a super air yards and target dominator in Nico Collins, an offense that doesn't want to produce a lot of targets or air yards.
29:33So I think Higgins, I think he was a decent prospect.
29:36And I think what he did last year was like, that's what you'd expect from a guy who's kind of thrown into a big role.
29:43Not super efficient, but he runs a decent amount of routes, has a few semi spike weeks.
29:48He doesn't look like a clear year two breakout.
29:51And he doesn't look like he's an offense that wants to support a year two breakout from the second receiver, the distant second receiver.
29:58So yeah, like Schultz, it's fine because he's cheap.
30:00When you have to pay prices for these breakouts or for Schultz, just like for medium production, that's when I don't want to do it.
30:07I don't want to pay prices for a guy like Higgins with guys like, you know, Dell and Noel.
30:13One of them could pop up and, you know, you start Piggins as the wide receiver too.
30:18And they're extremely cheap. It's just the moment you make me pay a Higgins price.
30:22I don't think I've done it once this off season.
30:25I can't do it. I can't do it. And I, I probably need to make a list for Patreon, patreon.com slash podfather to support the show.
30:32We'll be putting up a list of the old receivers that are going to have a great seasons.
30:37The, the, the best old receivers to target. This is going to be, I think it's going to be a big, a
30:43big, a sort of a old wide receiver renaissance year.
30:46And, you know, players like Chris Godwin are on that list and you can check it out.
30:51Patreon.com slash podfather. I got to do a list of players that I love that I'm not drafting because I love the player and I hate the situation.
30:59And Higgins has to be top of that list.
31:02Has to be, has to be the absolute zenith of player that I love.
31:06I think he's, I think, I think you can easily argue.
31:09He has a better prospect profile. He's going to be a better player than even Nico Collins.
31:14You can make that argument, but you can't actually draft him at his current ADP.
31:18It's insane. You can't do it. It's, it's like just, uh, they're creating a straight line of the Woody Marks offense and
31:24just continuing the pass rate with the David Montgomery offense.
31:27And no, every year we have to re-examine the personnel and decide what that breakdown is going to be.
31:32And we have player profile with our projections, our rankings on the site, premium rankings.
31:37They absolutely take this into account and you're probably not going to be drafting anyone in the Houston passing game of using our projections.
31:43And, uh, you know, I'll, I stand by that.
31:46The lions passing game is on the other end of the spectrum.
31:49They're going to be throwing a lot because guess who they lost David Montgomery.
31:53So you just follow the breadcrumbs. I thought you were going to say Terry and Arnold.
31:58I was like, yeah, they, they did lose them.
32:01It's I don't want to say too soon. Like we can talk about it, but it feels a bit tangential.
32:06Sure. The defense will get worse. I'll have to pass more.
32:09It seems like it did a really bad thing.
32:12I thought that's where we were going with this.
32:14I was like, Oh, if you want to go there, go there.
32:18Well, either way we were talking about David Montgomery.
32:20So it seemed relevant to talk about the lions briefly.
32:23No, it's on me. That's on me for going the wrong direction.
32:27You could read all about it. It's right there on a, right there on roto world.
32:31Uh, and you know, his, his, uh, transgressions and jail time and all this stuff that he's not going to be playing.
32:37Okay. And that's bad. Like it, the secondary in Detroit is notorious at this point.
32:42I mean, in multiple ways, you know, now that we have Terry and Arnold, but it is a notorious secondary.
32:47They're going to give up a lot of points and they're going to have to throw to stay in games and to win games.
32:54And their personnel is slanted towards throwing, whether it's Amon Ross, a Brown underneath, whether it's Jamison Williams up over the top,
33:01it's Isaac Tesla getting a higher snap share and pushing defenses.
33:04Like you have both those guys going down the, going down the sideline and you got, you got Amon Ra and Sam Moporta crossing over the middle.
33:11It's going to be impossible. And then if those guys are all covered, they're going to just outlet to Jameer Gibbs.
33:17It's going to be a fantastic passing game to watch.
33:20You're going to want a lot of Jared Goff this year.
33:23You're going to want a lot. I mean, I'm on Ross.
33:26St. Brown is very much in play to be the wide receiver one in fantasy this year to have like 22 fantasy points a game.
33:34Who would be surprised? A little surprise. Only a little.
33:36You'd be surprised. Where do you think, where do you think those targets are going, man?
33:41To me, it's not that he can't earn targets.
33:43I think for him to unseat someone like Jamar Chase or Puka or JSN, he has to do something that he's never
33:50really done, which is either meaningfully increases ADOT or meaningfully increase his yak production over his past three years, which are like the peak of his prime.
33:57He's 35th in the NFL and yak per catch.
34:00And he's outside the top 100 receivers in ADOT.
34:03So he just can't amass these like incredible yards per target and elite games that like Jamar chase is some ungodly combination
34:09of like bowling ball of butcher knives, DJ Moore with the ball in his hands.
34:13He can run routes like he's Justin Jefferson. Like he easily blows away Amon Ross St.
34:18Brown in yak, which Amon Ross as the underneath slot, you know, he's super versatile, but he does play a lot of
34:24the slot as the underneath lower, not super low, but lower ADOT guy.
34:28You would think he should be one of the best receivers in the NFL in yards after the catch.
34:33And I think that's the difference between him putting up the 1500 yard season in 2023 and 1400 last year and chase
34:39being able to triple crown and, and Puka being able to go 1700 in less than a full season.
34:45Like the, like just that extra 5% of dynamism with the ball in your hands or able to win deep is why Amon Ross St.
34:52Brown can't crack literal number one. I do think he's capable of almost anything beyond that.
34:56And truly he could also hit number one receiver.
34:59I think he does face an uphill battle though, because he just isn't quite as dynamic as like the top three receivers in the NFL.
35:06Total facts. You have facts on your side. Congratulations for having the facts.
35:10My case for 22 fantasy points a game is based on the idea that the targets go to 180 that, and that
35:16his yak is what it was in 2023. And then maybe he scores an extra touchdown or two, just because the offense has to be so up tempo.
35:24And that's how he gets there. Right. That's, that's, that's the path to getting there.
35:28But even then, like you said, Puka can outscore him.
35:31Jamar Chase can outscore him. 22 fantasy points a game is his absolute ceiling.
35:35Everything falls into place. That's where he got it.
35:38But it's possible just because we know that the offense is going to be that good.
35:42I haven't been able to draft as much Amon Ross in dynasty as I have Jamison Williams.
35:47I don't even like Jamison Williams because of the situation.
35:50Sometimes there's reasons why, whether it's the, the inconsistency, the volatility, the injury history, the off field incidents.
35:55There's, there's a risk quotient with Jamison Williams that you don't have with Amon Ross St.
35:59Brown. And sometimes because of that, he slips an extra round in dynasty startups that I just can't allow.
36:05Just because of this offense. I want Tesla. I want Williams.
36:08I want all these guys. Now I have to return to being the Amon Ross St.
36:13Brown supporter because I haven't drafted much Jamo and I haven't drafted much Tesla.
36:17You got to start, dude. Jamo, I get like, he's really good.
36:20He's, he probably cracks the list of players who I think are awesome.
36:24And I just think are overpriced. Like, I just think I can't quite pay these prices.
36:28Tesla's not good. So you don't think Tesla's good?
36:31No, he was like a terrible college player who then was a terrible, like, look, congrats on the, on the touchdowns per, per catch stuff.
36:38Like I'm sure that's super stable buddy. He's not a high efficiency player in his first season, the NFL.
36:43And he was just not good in college. So not, not in this guy.
36:47He did play at Hillsdale. Oh, whoa. Hillsdale. Oh my God.
36:50Don't get too big on me now. I know.
36:53I know. We should, we should put this up on the screen.
36:56We should put this on the screen at Hillsdale.
36:59Tesla had 1300 yards and then he transferred to Arkansas and he maxed out at over 500 yards.
37:04And 19.5 yards per reception. So he was good.
37:07And then he transferred and he couldn't translate it into division one, which is an indictment.
37:11It's a massive indictment. Like he was getting lapped by non NFL practice squad players at Arkansas.
37:16To me, this is like, this is such a proof of concept that he's not up to the task in the SEC,
37:22let alone the NFL, that the moment he transfers from Hillsdale, he is getting dog walked by his teammates in terms of production.
37:29And we think that will then unreverse once he goes to the NFL.
37:32I think he has a skillset that can keep him on an NFL roster.
37:36Like he did awesome catches last year. And even if that's like, you know, it's unstable, he won't do as many awesome catches the coming year.
37:44It has already earned him like a second contract, even just a one-year contract.
37:48It has earned him staying power in the NFL.
37:50I don't think it's earned him fantasy points for our rosters.
37:54It's funny in, in, in these startups, I have him in a similar tier as a Ryan Flournoy.
37:59I keep getting Ryan Flournoy. There's, there's a lot of buzz for Tesla.
38:02People love Tesla. They don't want Flournoy. And I'm like, guys, this is a similar situation.
38:07And, but Flournoy actually is more refined and you can, there, I've seen more quotes from the coaches coming out around Ryan
38:13Flournoy's role increasing than I have in Detroit about Tesla.
38:16Ah, also, I believe like George Pickens is pretty steadfast and like, yep, I'm going to play out this year and hit free agency.
38:23And I think those quotes go in tandem with the idea that George Pickens might not be around in Dallas for the longterm.
38:29Whereas look, the Lions love JMO and I'm on Ross St.
38:32Brown has already signed longterm. I do think it's like a very clear year from now would be the second year, but
38:39whatever it's like third year or fourth year of football where you can have the next jump in production from Ryan Flournoy
38:45where I just don't see that path for Tesla.
38:48No. We're live. Let us know if you have any questions.
38:51We'll answer them. We have a lot to talk about today, but also taking questions.
38:55Like the show. Share the show. If you're listening to the podcast on Spotify, Apple, make sure you share it with people.
39:01It's a brave thing to do. Especially if you're in a league with someone to share this show.
39:06So they have all the information they need to win championships.
39:09It's a brave thing. Show some guts. Share the show with people that you're in a league with.
39:15Otherwise, just share with people that you know that aren't in leagues with you just so that you can show them where the best information is.
39:22Mike Evans, man. Mike Evans. One last ride. One last job for Mike Evans, right?
39:26I mean, I'm looking at that situation and they're going to have to throw the ball to be successful.
39:32They're going up against the Rams. They're going up against the Seahawks.
39:35We're talking, you know, two games on the schedule against those top teams where they're going to have to throw.
39:41And they're going to be airing the ball out against the Cardinals too.
39:44And I think Purdy's going to have a great year.
39:47And there's going to be checkdowns to Christian McCaffrey, of course.
39:50Pierre Saul is in a great situation where he's not going to get off of corners.
39:55So he's going to be able to get free runs off the line of scrimmage.
39:59No one's going to be bothering him. He's going to be able to do his thing.
40:04So I, but the presence of Mike Evans and everything we're hearing about Mike Evans from George Kittle and others telling us
40:10that he is a true professional, that he is coming in and tip top shape that this guy means businesses here.
40:16He has a lot to prove. This is another situation.
40:19No one's talking about this San Francisco passing game, but I'm like, I think Mike Evans, this could be a big year for him.
40:26Yeah. This feels a bit like getting to reroll the dice on Devante Adams last year.
40:30We're like, didn't have that much Devante Adams, his efficiency was dropping.
40:34And ultimately he went to a situation that was perfect for what skillset he had.
40:38He scored a whole ton of touchdowns and like, I got bailed out by him being hurt at the end of the year.
40:44Mike Evans probably looks to be at a similar point in his career in which, yeah, he's probably not at the peak of his power.
40:52I think like universally he would, we would agree.
40:54He's not at the peak of his powers, but he still has enough left in the tank that if he goes to
41:00one of the best schemes in the NFL, which is like exactly what my, exactly what Devante Adams did goes to one
41:07of the best schemes in the NFL. And there are tons of targets up for grabs.
41:11And we've seen this team support year in and year out elite quarterback efficiency is probably a good pick at where he goes.
41:18Like another one of these, not awfully exciting bets, but also middle of the year, like week 12, 13 last year, Devante Adams was an insanely exciting bet.
41:26And I think this maybe looks much more exciting in hindsight when Mike Evans, you know, has double digit touchdowns as they
41:32enter whatever, I don't know what five week they have, as they enter the week 14 by 14 by Chris Rodriguez just went in that draft.
41:39Let him have, I don't care. I just, I don't, I could, I, I, I could not, I could not possibly care
41:46less that Chris Rodriguez was just drafted. I like gum.
41:48I chew it all the time every day. And lately I've been trying this underbrush from Nathan and sons.
41:54It's remineralizing chewing gum, basically an oral care routine in gum form.
41:57You brush in the morning and at night, but after lunch, there's a big gap where most of us do nothing for our teeth.
42:04Underbrush is made for that moment. Chew it for five to 10 minutes, spit it out, move on, or keep chewing if you like the feel of it.
42:12It's made with hydroxyapatite, the same mineral your enamel is made from as well as natural saps like mastic and spruce.
42:18So it has that firmer, really satisfying chew. To say it's all natural would be an understatement because they make it themselves
42:24from scratch in Northern California where the biggest, best trees are.
42:27I'm so glad I found this company when it's only a few years old and the team is literally making packing and shipping gum every day.
42:35So if you want a simple daily upgrade for your teeth that tastes great, check out underbrush.

42:42This episode is brought to you by Troll Co.
42:45Clothing. And oh, is this one worth it? You know, more than a few people have asked me about Troll Co.
42:51So let me actually tell you about it. I wear their hats, their sweatshirts.
42:55I have for a while now. The quality on both is legitimately good.
42:59The hats hold their shape. The sweatshirts are the kind of heavy that you actually want, not the thin stuff that pills after three washes.
43:06I just like them. The reason I connected with the brand in the first place is the story behind it.
43:12You know the phrase, dirty hands, clean money? It's a blue collar saying that has been around forever.
43:17It's the idea that honest, hard, physical work is how you build a good life.
43:21Troll Co. It was started by two guys who came out of the oil patch who could not find any clothing that represented people like them.
43:28So they built it themselves. That is the kind of origin story I respect.
43:32And the product truly backs it up. If you want to check them out, go to TrollCo.com slash profiler.
43:38That is T-R-O-L-L-C-O dot com slash profiler. And use code profiler25 for 25% off your first order.
43:43Just don't care. I don't care. That's me, actually.
43:45That's my sound effect. That's a human sound effect.
43:48Okay. That was really cool that you reproduced it perfectly two times in a row.
43:52You have like a particular set of skills, I'd say, to let you do that.
43:56Well, no, I recorded it. Oh, that makes sense.
43:59Okay, good. I farted into a microphone. I thought you were saying you did it live as we recorded at 44 minutes and 20 seconds.
44:06You're like, I'm going to do it once. All right, I'm going to do it again.
44:10Now watch this drive. But we have the cameras on.
44:13So you saw my butt wasn't in the microphone.
44:16Do you think I can see your... Well, you could have a second microphone down there.
44:20I don't know. You know what? You're right. I do have a splitter.
44:24And my amp does have two XLR ports. So I could have a mobile mic that I'm putting into my ass.
44:30You're right. You're right about that. But that's a human fart.
44:33And it sounded great. And I think it was perfect for Chris Rodriguez.
44:37That's just one of those backfields where I don't have a lot of exposure to that backfield other than LeQuint Allen.
44:43And just LeQuint Allen, very late in Dynasty. And he's a throw-in in Dynasty.
44:47And I have him on the taxi squad. And I'm just...
44:50I'm in on that passing game. Do you have a horse in that race between Parker Washington and Brian Thomas?
44:56I don't have a lot invested in either of those horses.
44:59Because I think if you view it through the lens of who is the best college prospect, it's very clearly Travis Hunter.
45:05If you view it through the lens of who is the most productive last year, it probably is.
45:10I mean, it just is Parker Washington. He ended the year super strong.
45:14And the question is, how much do we weight our priors?
45:17A Parker Washington, not a particularly good college prospect and doesn't do a whole lot in the NFL through his first two
45:23years, even through the first few weeks of last year, finishes legitimately awesome.
45:27How do we weigh his awesome finish versus his priors?
45:30Or BTJ, who was kind of a high-variance prospect, like not elite dominators, really only one-year production, but early to Claire.
45:36Freak athlete. And one of the best rookie seasons we've seen in a long time versus last year, abject failure.
45:41And even two years ago in his rookie season, a lot of his production came with Mac Jones.
45:47Like there are a lot of factors to weigh.
45:49The answer is like, I don't know. I would normally throw my hands up in the air and say like, I don't know.
45:56Couldn't tell you. We're not being asked to pay prices that are commensurate with, I don't know.
46:00Drafters are extremely confident that it is one of Parker Washington or Brian Thomas Jr.
46:05Frankly, at the NFL career-wide level, Jacoby Myers had the most stable year in, year out, he's okay kind of career.
46:11If he led this team in targets, it wouldn't stunt me.
46:14But we're being asked to pay prices on Travis Hunter as if he's like a complete guaranteed bust who wasn't good in college.
46:20The Travis Hunter prices, I get that it can go to zero.
46:24So you're all good. This is what you're doing.
46:26I see what you're doing. You're making this about Travis Hunter.
46:29I get it. Of course I'm making it about Travis Hunter.
46:33He's so cheap, specifically in best ball. I'm sure you'd have to like pry him with a crowbar away from the dynasty
46:39manager has him, but he is so incredibly cheap for the number two overall pick last year who like, I don't think
46:45his rookie season was particularly good, but it did seem like maybe there was a kernel of truth that he was good right at the end.
46:53And then he gets hurt. Whereas Parker Washington versus BTJ, both of them are quite expensive.
46:57Drafters are saying it's really one of these guys.
47:00There's no, not much of a race behind them.
47:02It's one of these guys to me. If I had to pick between BTJ and Parker Washington, I would take BTJ.
47:08I don't think a player who was as good as he was as a rookie is bad.
47:13He might be bad again this year. He might be bad for the rest of his career.
47:18But when you look at guys who were as good as they were as Brian Thomas Jr.
47:23as a rookie, it's largely just a collection of NFL superstars.
47:26You almost cannot be bad at football and have a 1300 yard rookie season.
47:30Whereas Parker Washington was like really good five games.
47:32And that might translate to a lot of production this year.
47:35I could totally like, I'm pricing in the fact that I can eat an L.
47:40Once I run the calculator, I'm like, wow, everyone thinks he's going to keep doing that.
47:44So I've almost universally drafted them in reverse order of price, taking the cheapest most.
47:49By the time I get up to BTJ and Parker Washington, I'm like, this is just a lot of confidence coming from drafters.
47:55I don't have that same confidence. I don't take a ton of either of them.
47:59I have to. It's BTJ. Eric 9305 asks, if you draft Tootin in a startup, can you target Chris Rodriguez later?
48:05And the answer is absolutely yes. You have tons of flexibility to be stacking your bench with whatever you want in dynasty.
48:12That's the beauty of it. Your bench spots are super precious in seasonal leagues and in best ball because those players will
48:18automatically enter your lineup in a managed dynasty league.
48:20You have the luxury of handcuffing. We talk about that in the dynasty dominator book where I mentioned that I have Christian McCaffrey because it's all flex.
48:28I don't need to handcuff anybody. I can just take best player available at all times, just max out my contingent upside,
48:34which is why I went to Sean Tucker. But in leagues where I have Christian McCaffrey, I am trying to not only
48:41draft his handcuff, which is Jordan James. I'm also trying to draft Kalen Black.
48:45Like you are incentivized to do that. If you have Tootin, you want to have Chris Rodriguez.
48:49The problem is that's not really a handcuff. That's more of like, hey, where you're, you're, you're monopolizing the fantasy point production.
48:56And in some weeks with buys, sometimes that's just the way to go.
48:59Just, we have a lot of flex spots. Some of these dynasty leagues have three, four flex spots.
49:04And we actually just based on projections, I'm going to just make sense.
49:08I'm going to start both Tootin and Rodriguez, and I'm going to monopolize all the touchdowns and make sure I get them all.
49:15And so I'm handcuffing aggressively in dynasty. Whereas in a best ball or a managed seasonal league, I avoid handcuffing altogether.
49:21I don't do it because then I'm betting against myself.
49:24There's a big trade-off and opportunity costs with every bench spot.
49:27Once you get to like round 20, round 20, there is the trade-off just isn't there anymore.
49:32You might as well handcuff if available. I just, sometimes I don't bother handcuffing.
49:35For example, Jeremiah Love with Tyler Algier, because Tyler Algier is too expensive.
49:39If I happen to have Kyron Williams, I ain't handcuffing him with Blake Corum.
49:43But I do like to get some exposure to Jarquez Hunter.
49:46Super late. If I have Chuba Hubbard, same thing.
49:49Probably can't even get Jonathan Brooks because he'll go in the same round as Jonathan.
49:53This just happened. Just happened in a startup. Whereas I drafted Chuba Hubbard, three picks later, there goes Jonathan Brooks.
49:59But you're damn right I'm going to be looking at Trevor Etienne a little bit later because why not?
50:04Why not? It's just if he gets into the starting lineup and he performs well, that dynasty asset accrues value.
50:10You can do whatever you want with it. And it's just you get the added benefit of an insurance policy without really
50:16the trade-off you have in best ball and in seasonal leagues.
50:19Yeah, I think just like you said, the overall depth of the dynasty roster means that you don't have to like unstack
50:26the Jenga tower of like the negative correlation between my running back and his backup.
50:30That really matters in best ball where like if you think that your running back is not one is absolutely lighting the
50:36league up, you do not want a dead roster spot.
50:39Like picking up weekly zeros, even from your 18th round pick is quite painful.
50:43Just picking up guys where like if you've ever had a best ball team that makes the playoffs or specifically makes that
50:49final round and you're like, uh, this veteran running back was cut.
50:53This rookie is a healthy and active and my starter got hurt.
50:56You're just like, oh, I'm just out on arrival.
50:59There's nothing I can do. Teams are playing with way more bullets than me.
51:03And there's some truth to the relationship that a starting running back in the backup running back.
51:07They can have one that is good enough that cancels the other out.
51:11You just don't have to worry about that dynamic and dynasty.
51:14So I don't know if I'm aggressively handcuffing. I also feel like, man, we've lost the top, top tier handcuff.
51:20I remember drafting Tony Pollard in the ninth round as a backup running back, because if this guy ever gets a start, he's ripping a 30 ball.
51:28And he did that like twice. We probably paid way too much for it every single year, but we just barely have that archetype.
51:34I mean, like Alexander Madison was also this guy, AJ Dylan.
51:38We had was this guy where if the starter goes down, buddy, I am winning this league.
51:42And I, like I said, I think we probably paid too much for that at the time.
51:47We don't even have that opportunity really anymore. There just aren't as many of these clear RB one goes down.
51:53RB two becomes a top 10 running back. That archetype isn't entirely dead, but there's just not as many good bets at that.
51:59It was Al's year last year, but you can't even say that now that he's, he's on the same backfield with James
52:06Connor, James Connor, sort of similar Devin Singletary. My most handcuffed running back is Cam Scadaboo because he's probably the most drafted
52:12top running back in terms of the first 10 rounds.
52:15I'm drafting more Scadaboo than anyone else this year.
52:17And therefore Tyrone Tracy, right? So I like Tyrone Tracy.
52:20Tyrone Tracy has size, all purpose, skillset, athleticism. When he gets an opportunity, if Scadaboo misses games, he's going to be productive.
52:26He is going to be the guy they turn to and Devin Singletary will then be a breather back.
52:32But so if there was a Tony Pollard in the NFL right now, it's probably Tyrone Tracy.
52:37It's just that the Giants offense is not the Dallas offense.
52:40So there it's just, it's not quite a, a one for one comparison, but if I had to think of one, especially
52:46one that I've been drafting aggressively because Devin Singletary is just so dusty, so dusty.
52:50And now with Tony Pollard as the primary back, it was that, Hey, Tajay Spears is his handcuff.
52:55You know, Tajay Spears profiles more as a satellite back.
52:58Then Tennessee goes and they draft Singleton, Nicholas Singleton.
53:01When do you think we'll see Singleton? I think it's probably later than fantasy managers want to specifically like best ball drafters.
53:07If you're in dynasty, you can probably wait, but Singleton was like not a particularly good between the tackles runner in college.
53:13He was consistently outproduced both in yards after contact in overall like running back share by Katron Allen, who himself is fine,
53:20but he isn't a player that if you are truly a good NFL running back should year in and year out for
53:26consecutive years, be seeing more carries than you. And then if you look at their final two years, he got absolutely crushed in the efficiency metrics.
53:33Nick Singleton did both compared to his previous two seasons, but also compared to Katron Allen who like, of course, Penn state
53:40implodes in both of their final seasons. Katron roughly survived that implosion in a way that Nick Singleton just did not.
53:46So I think you probably want him to work his way into the lineup as a pass catcher and he can do that.
53:52But Tajay Spears, to your point is a pretty good satellite back.
53:55He's not going to out satellite back Tajay Spears.
53:58That's my problem. There's not a ton of evidence.
54:01He's a good between the tackles back. He wasn't particularly efficient in college.
54:04Even if you look at his ability to hit home runs, he wasn't doing that at a much higher rate.
54:10It was almost identical to Katron Allen. Like that should be his calling card.
54:14He is a freak athlete. He didn't test the combine.
54:17He was like Bruce Feldman's freak list, which is like consistently a year ahead of time, picking out nine Rask guys.
54:23He's really good at actually figuring out who the athletes are.
54:26I buy that Nick Singleton is just a nine something Rask guy.
54:29He didn't really run like a nine something Rask guy in college.
54:33So I think his path in the way the Titans backfield is set up is that he eventually overtakes Tony Pollock, who's
54:39like a replacement level, maybe a little above replacement, but just a little bit above replacement level starter.
54:44Who's a free agent. Yeah. Yeah. He's like a free agent in a year.
54:48I think it's reasonable that he eventually overtakes him, but I don't think he at least didn't show me in college that
54:54he's such a gifted two down player that he's just going to usurp the starter right away.
54:59I think for the first two months of the year, he's like a classic veteran dynasty.
55:04I was inside redrop here. Like, I think you're cutting him after eight weeks and you maybe live to regret it.
55:10The week you cut him is, you know, the week before he goes off, but even in best ball, like I don't, I think he's a classic.
55:17You want to avoid zeros. And I don't think he's getting on the field of the satellite back.
55:23I didn't think he was a good, particularly good runner in college.
55:26So I don't think he's going to immediately force a bunch of carries out of the gate.
55:31I do think because both Spears, I believe, and Tony Pollard are free agents.
55:35I think he does get on the field this year.
55:38Well, that was the case. That was, that was a big, his size speed profile.
55:42If he had tested, right, his projected size speed profile, plus the contract situation, the structural advantages that he has from in
55:48terms of the contract really helps propel like a projected valuation for 2027.
55:52I know that we have some exceptions that we make some programmatic exceptions in the dynasty rankings.
55:57And we, we do give him an added boost in 2027 because it is rare that you have the two running backs
56:03ahead of you on the depth chart that are both going to be free agents.
56:07So he does benefit from that. And that is why he was a good pick in the second round.
56:13There's just, it's a bad draft and you got to, you got to shoot for the guys that have athletic upside and
56:19it found themselves in the right situation, which he did going through other potential handcuffs.
56:23Kyle Mononguy is the most obvious because he is on a, an offense that is like what the Dallas Cowboys were, the Chicago bears are.
56:30And it, it, Deandre Swift is sort of similar to Zeke Elliott.
56:34Like it's just as in terms of just their, their play style.
56:37So Mononguy is the closest thing to a modern day Tony Pollard, except that he's just not a pass catcher.
56:43The reason I thought of Tracy first is because their profiles are more similar, but in terms of situation.
56:48Yeah. I mean, I get why people want Kyle Mononguy.
56:51It's just, I can't pay that. I can't pay what he's going for whenever I, whenever he goes, whether it's best ball,
56:57whether it's dynasty, I'm always like, I get it and I'm not doing it.
57:01Yeah. He had as a rookie, he had more games with zero catches than multiple catches.
57:06I know there's something like JJ has talked about when you get to this range in the draft, taking guys who have
57:12pass catching value, both raises the floor and the ceiling, like the ambiguous backfields, a guy who can emerge as the clear
57:18pass catcher just has such a good operation of things going in his favor because it both increases the floor, increases the ceiling.
57:25And I think generally the guys who are good pass catchers, that just tells you something about them as a player.
57:31Like the fact that they're dynamic with the ball in their hands as a pass catcher almost certainly also has signal for
57:37telling you how good they are as a running back.
57:40Cause it just tells you how good they are as a player to some small degree.
57:44So I think he's like, Mononguy's fine. There's a name for this, by the way, this concept, the Kenneth Gainwell corollary.
57:50He's not a good runner. He stuck around as a pass catcher.
57:54And now he's when he, whenever he became a featured back, he produced.
57:58Yeah, I can see this. I can still see this.
58:00I mean, no one's saying LaQuint Allen is a great between the tackles runner, but they were incentivized once they saw what
58:07he could do, the electricity that he brought to the table in the passing game, they were incentivized to keep him on the field more.
58:14That's what you're saying. Yeah. I think my college comp for this would have been Jameer Gibbs who had like one of
58:20the all time efficiency seasons as a pass catcher while he was still at Georgia tech and his rushing numbers were never that special.
58:27And had I just said like, Oh, this guy's one of the best pass catching college running backs we've ever seen.
58:33He truly, it was like a three or four yards per outrun season, which is like, yeah, Christian McCaffrey's done that.
58:39Like where did Elijah Mitchell did it one year?
58:41There's like Jenty did that actually. Uh, I wouldn't have been so bearish yet.
58:45Jenty second season was electric as a pass catcher.
58:48I wouldn't have been so bearish. I'm like, well, he actually didn't hit this, uh, rushing yardage market share threshold.
58:54The receiving production. I'm going to say this on the second season told you, I don't say all you needed to know
59:00about how good Jameer Gibbs was going, told you a lot of it.
59:04Yeah. I mean, the Jameer Gibbs corollary sounds a lot better than the Kenneth Gainwell corollary.
59:08I'll tell you that right now. It also does.
59:11There's a much better ring to it. We got to talk about this Vikings passing game, man.
59:15What if Kyler's just back? What if he's back?
59:18What if he's running around? What if he's, he's got a big arm?
59:22Like it could be, it could be kind of good.
59:25I dropped a little bit of Kyler. Like it's, it's a guilty pleasure pick where I'm like, look, I know he's not good.
59:31I know he doesn't care about football. Like he's going to be playing cod by October.
59:36But to your point, like at his price, just run around a little bit.
59:40Honestly, just do like dumb Kyler stuff. Go off and like, but he's putting on a show.
59:44Like he does care. Congrats. That's like, Oh, he's got the most important.
59:48They said maybe the second most important of his contract of his life coming up in eight months from now.
59:54I'd hope he can at least feign. Like he cares.
59:57I think he's genuinely, I think he genuinely cares.
59:59I think there's a comp. I think you're selling him short.
60:02Did you record that one yourself too? I don't want to sell him short because he's short.
60:07You come into the league, you're playing baseball, you're playing football.
60:10You're the number one pick here. The number one pick there.
60:13You're the greatest athlete you've ever seen. And you take it for granted and you're entitled kind of like the U S men's team, right?
60:21Like the U S men's soccer team. They just, they were entitled.
60:24They thought, Hey, we made it this far. Everyone seems to think we're going to win the world cup that we talked to.
60:31I guess that's, what's going to happen. I guess we'll just show up and everything's going to be fine.
60:36And no, no. And anyone that's been listening to this channel knows that I'm not a Christian Pulisic fan.
60:41I've gone too far. I've had hot takes that I prefer Brendan Aronson.
60:45I think that's, that's, that's going too far. That's going too far.
60:48But there's a reason why Brendan Aronson is in the premier league and Christian Pulisic is not.
60:53There are reasons why that is because Brendan Aronson is a two-way player.
60:57Brendan Aronson presses his ass off. Brendan Aronson plays through injuries.
61:00He's tough as hell. And the team likes him.
61:03And Christian Pulisic has had one good year since Dortmund with AC Milan.
61:06And yes, I know he, he showed up in some champions league games and he's played well at times in Chelsea and
61:13played well at times here and there play well at times for the U S men's team.
61:17But we're talking about a player who sleeps on a bed of cash.
61:21And I mean, Chris, Kyler Murray is incentivized to show up, be a professional and earn a huge contract because he probably
61:27has a burn rate where he's like, I, if I'm this good, I can spend money and I know I'm going to earn a huge next contract.
61:35And it's all predetermined. It's all destiny. And now all of a sudden, wait, my destiny is, is, is blowing up around me.
61:42I need to lock in. I know that I, I guaranteed Kyler Murray looked in the mirror and said, I need to lock in this year.
61:49I'm going to show up and I'm going to be a leader.
61:52And it could be like, just with self-talk, you can change yourself.
61:56You can become a new guy. It is. I know you think it's just all show and that, you know, he's all show for the dough.
62:03I get it. And we were getting, he's going to be Cardinals Kyler Murray in 2027.
62:08And he's a trap in dynasty. I get all that.
62:11I just think there is a possibility that the switch flips and that he becomes a mature version of what we wanted from Kyler Murray five years ago.
62:19This, if that is, if that is possible, then it is Minnesota.
62:22That's going to extend him. And Minnesota is already feeling the pressure because they're perceived to have made a big mistake in
62:28letting Sam Donald slip through their fingers. And if Kyler Murray has a big year, 4,000 yards, rushing production leads the Vikings to the playoffs.
62:35They're going to be under immense pressure to extend him, especially after what happened with the Sam Donald debacle and in the JJ McCarthy bust draft pick.
62:43It sounds like what you're saying is that at least for a moment there, it was like, oh, someone actually handed Kyler
62:49the book, the secret where he's just looking in the mirror and being like, you were worthy of the number one overall pick.
62:56You are a good quarterback and you will get a lot of money.
63:00He's doing this law of, I'm a leader. He's doing this law of attraction stuff where he's like manifesting that he's good.
63:06And look, I'm down to manifest that he's good as well.
63:09Even more so for fantasy in that last year he was on pace and you know, this is a small sample.
63:15He was on pace for like 550, I think 600 rushing yards.
63:18And last year that would have led all quarterbacks in rushing.
63:22Part of that is because we just had down slash injured years from guys like Jaden Daniels, guys like Lamar Jackson.
63:27But the fact that we may be seeing rushing quarterbacks decline and he can still be one of the best rushing quarterbacks
63:34tells me like, yeah, we don't need him to live up to all the hype we had five years ago for him as a passer.
63:41We just need him to like play 17 games, play competent football and run specifically as much as he did last year,
63:47which I don't think there's a reason not to.
63:50He needs to continue to do that because that's part of the Kyler Murray appeal.
63:54And there's no way, there's no way that Christian Pulisic ever going to do that.
63:58It's never going to happen. I'm just telling you right now that he's never, there's never going to be a man in the mirror moment for Pulisic.
64:06It's over. He'll never be good. He's never going to contribute to the men's team.
64:10It's not going to happen. This was it for him to have like 10 turnovers in a half and then fake an
64:16injury where he kicked the other guy's leg. It's over.
64:19I don't think you come back from this and he doesn't have to, he doesn't have to matter what his burn rate is.
64:26He's made so much money. Every other commercial is Pulisic.
64:29I didn't see any Balogun commercials. I didn't see any Tillman commercials.
64:32I just saw one Pulisic commercial after another. And I think at some point that weight was also too difficult where he's like, I don't believe in myself.
64:40I'm taking myself out of this. And so I think Christian Pulisic has like this fragile ego that he's, but he can't
64:46say no to all the sponsorship money. And then it puts him in a very sort of a negative headspace with the pressure.
64:53And then you start making mistakes and then you spiral.
64:56It's a spiraling headspace. Kyler Murray, on the other hand, I think Kyler Murray's ego is intact.
65:00My guess is down deep, he has never questioned himself.
65:03But I think- No, I think you want him to question himself.
65:07At this point, after seeing him take himself out and fake an injury on the biggest stage, he is completely shattered.
65:13And we need to emotionally, collectively as a country, move on from this guy.
65:17Look, that is quite literally how I think everyone has felt about Kyler Murray in that Pulisic isn't like an objectively bad player.
65:23Like he can play good soccer. It's that he never hit the trajectory he should have going back to his Dortmund days.
65:29And you know who is objectively like fine at football as an NFL quarterback, but just never hit the number one overall pick superstar college quarterback hype?
65:37Kyler Murray. And eventually he was broken down to the point where like one, he like speaking of like the ego stuff,
65:43they had to put in a clause to force him to study in his massive contract.
65:48I think eventually he was broken down to the point that like the team cuts him.
65:53It does seem like he's pretty invested. Like I've been talking a lot of, a lot of not nice things about Kyler Murray.
65:59He does seem pretty invested. These teams genuinely invested.
66:02I never thought Christian Pulisic was very invested in this team.
66:05Personally. I never, I never got that feeling. I always thought of this as Ream's team and McKinney's team.
66:10I never thought about, I thought about this more as Baligan's team than I did Pulisic.
66:15It's like, he's just been an afterthought and I hope he's, he's, he's, he steps up.
66:19The Vikings are Kyler Murray's team, but I love the parallel where yes, Kyler Murray at Oklahoma was like Pulisic at Dortmund.
66:26And I think we're setting ourselves up for the buy low in the 2030 world cup where Pujic is at that point.
66:32He's just a veteran. And hopefully he's sort of learned some of these leadership qualities that Kyler Murray hopefully has seemed to learn as well.
66:39And we are setting ourselves up for the Pulisic buy low in 2030, where he's not the superstar.
66:44Kyler Murray doesn't enter the Vikings as the superstar.
66:47That's going to change the team. It's not like Peyton Manning switching teams to the Broncos.
66:51He's like, we need you to just go out and execute a scheme by Kevin O'Connell.
66:56And hopefully Pulisic doesn't come in as the rising star in 2030.
66:59It's that he has been seasoned through at that point.
67:02It'll be coming up on like a decade and a half, two decades of soccer.
67:06And he can be the sort of veteran leadership part of the room where he's just a starter, but he's learned a
67:12lot of lessons that can maybe be helpful to the younger guys.
67:16I hope we get there with Pulisic. I don't know if we do, but we did get there with Kyler.
67:22I think no one thinks that you can get there with a guy like Kyler.
67:26I think, uh, I think we can get there with Kyler and Pulisic.
67:30We really nailed it here by somehow incorporating soccer into a fantasy football conversation.
67:34That's coherent. I think it makes sense. I think because these are essentially number one picks that are undersized, fragile, that have
67:40these massive egos that have been humbled. Like it is the whole thing.
67:43It's just, and then we'll, and I can see, yes, in, in 2030, I like him coming off the bench.
67:49I like Pulisic coming off the bench for 20 minutes as a spark.
67:53I like this. This, this could work. This, that, that's what you need.
67:57That's what you need. Murray, he's, you know, he's already a little bit older than Pulisic and he can't run at the
68:03same rate, but I mean, I think he can for another couple of years and you know, he's not a guy that you bring it off the bench.
68:11He's just going to be a guy that can earn a new contract, but I think he'll be mobile enough to tactically
68:17scramble his way into first downs and make plays.
68:20And the escapability is going to be there for Murray longer than a guy like Pulisic can play like, you know, a
68:26full-time game, a full-time match at the forward position.
68:28It's just, it's not going to happen. Once he's in his late twenties, it's not, it's going to be over.
68:34Murray, I can see him playing into his early thirties at a similar level, but eventually once you get to 33, 34,
68:40his utility is going to drop dramatically. But we're talking about a three-year window, man.
68:45We got a three-year window with Murray for fantasy that we don't have with Pulisic.
68:49And so I, I, I'm, uh, I'm still very much in on Murray and I think you are too.
68:54I think this is what's happening. I think if anything, there's been a collective coming to Jesus on Pulisic being overrated and
69:01I'm glad everyone's finally with me on this. And now I think you're coming to Jesus on Kyler Murray being an incredible value in fantasy football this year.
69:09This Cardinals running game, we touched on it. What do you think's going to happen?
69:13Like first three, four weeks, isn't Tyler Algier going to lead this team in carries?
69:17No, I don't think it'll lead the team in carries.
69:20If I, if I could take an even money bet on love versus Algier carries first four weeks, I would still take love.
69:26I think maybe where you could get me is a red zone or goal line carries where specifically last year, three years
69:33into Bajon Robinson's career, he drew Bajon Robinson almost perfectly to a standstill.
69:36I think it was seven, seven carries at the goal line for the entire season.
69:41And it was like 30 or 31. I think Bajon had a one goal or one red zone carry edge.
69:46And that perfectly matches what you expect Tyler Algier to do.
69:49Like Tyler, we need five yards on this play.
69:52Three yards it is then champ. But Tyler, we are one yard from scoring a touchdown.
69:57He can do that. And I do think that that would make sense for him to be playing that role.
70:02I do think like Bajon is the outlier amongst you spend this much on your running back.
70:07You would hope you get more returns in the first two years relative to your other running backs.
70:12You would expect to load him up more. I think Gentry is more of the art, like of more of the, what you would expect.
70:19You spend a, you're, you're a bad team. You're objectively, you're the Raiders or you're the Cardinals and you have nothing going for your basement dweller franchise.
70:27And you spend a top five pick on, even as we're getting a bit of a running back resurgence, still a very
70:33low value position amongst all the positions you could draft from.
70:36You're doing this to establish the identity that like this guy is the face of our franchise and the face of our offense.
70:43And more often than not, when you do those kinds of things, you give him the majority of the carries, even in the first four weeks.
70:50I think in the minutia of like, do you play on pass pro or do you get the third and one carries?
70:57That's where Algier could lose out or that's where Algier could eat in.
71:00I do think for the Cardinals, like, oh no, all of our, all of our goal line carries are going to the backup running back.
71:07Guess what? Not a lot of those to go around.
71:10So maybe it doesn't end up making that much of a difference.
71:14I do think that's where he could be a problem.
71:17His ADP in startups is just weird. It's just, it's not factoring in properly.
71:20I think it's just one of those self-fulfilling ADPs where it was high before the Jeremiah Love draft pick and it has not yet corrected on sleeper.
71:28And it's just like, no way am I taking this guy?
71:31It's like many, many rounds ahead of where he should go.
71:34Oh, speaking of. We are on the clock in the Scott Fishbowl on the clock in the Scott Fishbowl.
71:40And essentially the Scott Fishbowl this year has these huge premium bonuses for long, big plays.
71:44Have you seen this? Especially for his team? No, I'm on the clock in two picks and I will figure out the
71:51rules to Scott Fishbowl in one pick. I, I made a mistake.
71:54I went Caleb Williams, not fully understanding the rules, but thankfully I did go.
71:58I'm on Ross St. Brown. I mean, receivers are hugely incentivized in this league.
72:02I mean, we're talking about like a 10 point bonus for like, I think even a, even a catch more than 20 yards.
72:09So it's like, it's a giant bonus. If you just look at the projections, if we sort by projections here, just the
72:15projected points, you'll see that it is, uh, almost all our, uh, receivers or running backs.
72:19Uh, I, let me just pull this up real quick.
72:22Um, I'm, I'm having a hard time with the scoring.
72:25I really, I, I don't quite understand. Oh, who did, where to go.
72:29I was thinking wide receiver could be, could be the move here with, uh, because we have pickings available.
72:34We have a lava. We have Garrett Wilson. I already have one quarterback.
72:38I don't know, but you haven't, you haven't, uh, you haven't even picked yet.
72:42No, we, I, we had some snafu where people hadn't signed up for, they hadn't like matched their sleeper account with some other Scott Fishbowl account.
72:49Um, so I'm, I actually picked the exact same spot as you, uh, and I have yet to see my first pick.
72:55All right. So we, we need to make a pick here and I'm trying to pull up the scoring and, uh, give me, give me a second.
73:03I'm pulling up the scoring on my phone just to help you understand.
73:07There is a 40 plus yard rush bonus of 10 points.
73:10However, in the receiving 20 to 29 rush yard bonus, 10 points, 30 to 39 rush yard bonus, 10 points, 40 plus
73:16rush yard, uh, receiving bonus reception bonus, 10 points.
73:19So 20 to 29, 30 to 39 and 40 plus yard reception bonus, 10 points.
73:23So, I mean, I, to me, it makes, it makes sense just to go wide receiver.
73:28I can't believe all these wide receivers are available.
73:30I feel like I'm missing something. I just, I'm not, I, I, I, when I, when I sort by projections on my
73:36phone, all the receivers are near the top and I just, I, I, I'm, I'm, I'm sort of mystified why these guys
73:43are all available given all the bonuses. There's also a tight end bonus.
73:46So Harold Fannin's projection is absolutely gigantic. I think Fannin is in a, he's in a tricky situation because we're not sure
73:53how good Casey Concepcion is going to be. We're not sure what Jerry Judy has left.
73:57We're not sure what this offense, we're not sure what the quarterbacks are going to be.
74:02There's going to be multiple quarterbacks throughout the season.
74:04How much did the presence of David and Joku affect his production last year?
74:08Couldn't have affected it much because he was so good.
74:11So Fannin has more uncertainty. There's a little more upside, but I think that the projection is so close between Pickens, Olave,
74:17Wilson, and Fannin that I think it's safer just to go with the receivers.
74:21So I'm thinking about just of these three receivers, who do you prefer?
74:25Pickens, Olave, Wilson. To me, it'd be Pickens. Wilson's the only one who I would not consider here, especially for the like long play bonus.
74:32I think Garrett Wilson's good among the many like ways I would describe him like awfully dynamic or explosive really wouldn't be at the top of the list.
74:40Like he's never been a good yak producer. He's not frankly good in yards per out run.
74:45And he's played in some terrible teams, but I think he's like the peak possession receiver with maybe a little more juice than that.
74:52But I think you have almost the opposite archetype for Pickens and maybe somewhere in the middle with Olave.
74:57I'd go with Pickens here. Olave, I'd be perfectly fine with that one.
75:01I mean, if you're incentivized to go big plays, wouldn't it be Pickens and Olave?
75:05You can see that's how I have them sorted now.
75:08I think I'm just going to double tap these two and see what happens.
75:12Boom and boom. That's a wrap. I'm not going to be drafting for a long time now.
75:17Oh, it's going to be forever. I'll let everybody know what happens with this draft.
75:21The Scott Fishbowl draft. It's huge big play bonus for receivers.
75:24That's the bottom line. Anything more than 20 yards for any catch more than 20 yards, you get a 10 point bonus,
75:31which is it's absolutely score tilting to have to have that for receivers.
75:34I mean, it's it's incredible. I mean, there's certainly some some running backs that can do that, but it's much rarer for
75:40running back to have a big 40 yard catch.
75:43It's a guy like Pickens and a guy like Olave.
75:46They're going to be specialists in that area. So I'm happy to leverage the scoring and hopefully hopefully that we put together a good team.
75:53Let's go rapid fire here. Rapid fire mode. We're good.
75:56We have a bunch more sort of team passing games or team running games to talk about.
76:01We still have a lot to talk about here, but we're going to we're going to go into rapid fire mode and
76:07we're going to get into it after this. You know, the original player profile was just my podcasting tool that I made
76:13available to the public so that you could follow along and look up the stats while I'm looking them up and talking about them on the show.
76:21Then you're asking, well, I want to dominate my drafts.
76:24I want to know what you know about Josh Downs and Trey Harris and Jalen Coker.
76:28So that's why we have the world famous draft kit.
76:31The key team insights, the player breakdowns and the key stats that you need to know, like vacated targets, vacated touches, all
76:37they're available to you with cheat sheets for every format and interactive drafting.
76:41As you draft, the players fly off the board.
76:44And this year, for the first time, I am publishing my personal draft cheat sheet during draft season as well as Bradley's.
76:50And when you sign up for the all in package, you get $25 off with code podfather.
76:55Code podfather, $25 off. The world famous draft kit is now live.
76:58It is ready. It is complete. So go grab it and dominate your drafts.
77:02Summer means firing up the grill, getting together with friends, and making the most of the weekends.
77:07Total Wine & More is my first stop. Whether it's seltzers and ready-to-serve cocktails for the cooler, or a good bottle of
77:13bourbon, everything I need is at Total Wine. With the lowest prices, it's easy to stock up for whatever the weekend brings.
77:19And I can get everything I need in one stop.
77:22Shop Total Wine & More and get ready for your next summer party.
77:26Spirits not sold in Virginia and North Carolina? Drink responsibly.
77:29B21. B21. Cowboys running game. Javante Williams seems boring.
77:31Who's the RB2 there? By snaps Malik Davis. By who has any chance for us to care about him in fantasy?
77:37Jaden Blue. Phil Maffa? First snap at training camp.
77:40That guy's. He's probably a better bet to, again, have the out snaps Jaden Blue advantage.
77:44But he's like a total two-down plotter who's not even good at that.
77:48And I don't know that he gets ahead of Malik Davis.
77:51So I think Jaden Blue could have some nominal standalone value.
77:54I don't draft a ton of Blue. Because I also think he's probably, among these three, he's clearly the best bet to
78:01be out of the league in a year. He's, again, the like zero avoidance.
78:05The knucklehead factor on him is off the charts.
78:07I mean, all these Texas guys. I mean, Texas was like a magnet for top knucklehead recruits.
78:12Easily. Yeah. They are the chiefs of college football.
78:15They're like, I mean, there are a few college football teams that could use some better screeners for these types of things.
78:21But yeah, I think Blue, he's legitimately the only one who could carve out a standalone role.
78:26There's no reason for Javante to just play behind Phil Maffa or Malik Davis.
78:30Javante's not a good pass catcher. He's a serviceable pass pro and like catch dump offs.
78:34If Blue's good at anything, he might not be good at anything.
78:38If Blue's good at anything, it would be being a third down specialist.
78:41Maybe he can carve out a role as that.
78:44I just don't see what Phil Maffa could do to earn touches barring a Javante injury.
78:48Jaden Blue, best comparable to Naheem Hines on player profiler.
78:51Has there been an example of a guy who's a knucklehead and then started to figure out that he had to work hard and learn the playbook?
78:59Is there a running back example that we can use to comp Jaden Blue too?
79:03I didn't have running back, but as soon as you said that, because I think he's on the show sheet somewhere.
79:09Aidy Mitchell. Have you heard how the team, the Jets, are talking about Aidy Mitchell these days?
79:14I think it was Glenn, maybe it was the OC, I forget which one, was saying like, he just lights up a room.
79:21He's a guy who you want to be around him.
79:23And they were all talking about his work ethic and how much he's changed.
79:27That's crazy because all you heard was the opposite when he was in Indianapolis.
79:31He figured it out, man. Like some guys do just figure it out.
79:35Not as many as we'd like. I think when you have these character red flags, they're largely a part of who you
79:41are, but not everyone that's the case for. And the way the Jets talk about Aidy Mitchell, he has figured it out.
79:48He was the very first player who I thought of.
79:50We were talking about Texas. We'll have Aidy Mitchell in the show.
79:54It's if a guy figures it out. I think it looks like things look like for Aidy Mitchell.
79:59I don't know if Jaden Blue is figuring it out.
80:02I mean, how many Texas guys can all figure it out at the same time?
80:06Right? I don't know. I don't know. The bottom line is Javante Williams could lead the league in touchdowns.
80:12The guy is boring, but he scores a lot.
80:14And that's the thing, man. Once these elite wide receiver ones are off the board, you might as well just go running back.
80:21You might as well go with an all-purpose back who's undervalued like Cam Scadaboo, you know, because he only has the partial season coming off an injury.
80:28That's where the value comes from. Or a guy like Javante Williams, who are just like, he seems boring.
80:34There were seasons where he didn't produce. He's not this super dynamic player, but he's in the right place, the right time to score 15 touchdowns.
80:41And you just need to draft that guy. That's my position on that.
80:45I don't feel that way about, say, the Steelers passing game.
80:48I don't care what happens with that Steelers passing game.
80:51I don't want anyone on that Steelers passing game ever at all.
80:54The more I think about what's going on, and then every news item that comes out, the latest one on Roto World is Broderick Jones.
81:01Return unknown. So now, okay, their left tackle could open the season on injured reserve.
81:06Probably will because of a neck injury. This goes from bad to worse.
81:09Aaron Rodgers, Broderick Jones, every ancillary force that could either be propelling or suppressing these receivers in Pittsburgh.
81:14It's just all working against them. I'll say the McCarthy signing, as bad as it is organizationally, it's a very dumb waste of our time.
81:22If you care about football or the Steelers to go out and get Mike McCarthy when it's like clearly just a reunion
81:28that he's from Pittsburgh and a reunion with Rodgers.
81:30We're wasting everyone's time here. But man, McCarthy loves to throw the football.
81:34When you look at his offenses, whether or not they've been universally good, they generally are very good, but they are consistently
81:40some of the highest pass rate over expected, highest early down pass rate teams.
81:44Aaron Rodgers has very little left in the tank, but I think McCarthy is showing up to be like, we're going to
81:51do what you did last year where you checked down a million times.
81:54Or, well, you checked down proportionally a million times, but now we're just going to do it every play.
82:00No more of this running stuff. It's just check downs as far as the eye can see.
82:04And I think if you get the right prices on these, they can be interesting.
82:09Where Rodgers is like the cheapest quarterback who probably starts 17 games.
82:12Jeremy Bernard is a day two rookie with a clear path to at least three receiver sets.
82:17And he's again, dirt cheap. I think both the tight ends are like competent starting caliber players who should both see playing time.
82:24And you can get them with your last pick.
82:26I don't want to pay any meaningful price for a Steelers passing game piece.
82:30You do that with Metcalf and Pittman. And I don't draft those guys, but I could dabble in some Jeremy.
82:36I could dabble in Darnell Washington, who's just awesome among players that are like fun to draft.
82:41I mean, the guy is like seven feet tall, 280 pounds, athletic as hell, just a fun dominant force of a player.
82:47But I think the bottom line is, and this was also on Roto World, that the wide tight end in Pittsburgh is still Pat Friermuth.
82:54And Washington is going to be assigned blocking duties more often than not.
82:58And if we had to draft a receiver, not a wide receiver, just a guy that catches passes.
83:03It's not even, you might say, oh, you're going to say Jalen Warren.
83:06No, I think in tight end premium, Pat Friermuth is the answer.
83:10I think that is the answer. I think that is the answer to this.
83:14This is a conundrum. I think we've solved it.
83:16Tight end premium, Pat Friermuth, final answer. Yeah, I'm fine with this.
83:20This is good. Good enough. Good. That's all we're going to do.
83:23Bucs passing game, though. Bucs passing game is exciting.
83:26There's, hey, I've heard this cliche, there's too many miles to feed there.
83:30There are a lot of miles from Jalen McMillan to my man Ted Hurst.
83:33I'm more focused on Egbuka and Godwin. Godwin goes later, but Godwin will probably out-target Egbuka.
83:38To me, this is a Chris Godwin rebirth season.
83:41This is just another, it's just like a theme.
83:43Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, older receivers. They're going to show up this year.
83:47Watch it happen. I'm a little nervous about Chris Godwin.
83:5030-year-old receiver coming off of like career worst year by a country mile, playing on an offense in which like, I want to think Baker is good.
83:57Strangely, anytime he doesn't have one of the best OCs in the NFL, he's not good.
84:02Just write that off, though. Don't worry about that.
84:04Like Liam Cohen, awesome play caller. I think Dave Canales has like single-handedly saved Bryce Young's career.
84:09I don't think Bryce Young is even remotely a starting caliber quarterback.
84:13Dave Canales has just like, has contorted this offense to allow it to survive.
84:17They're not a good offense, but they can literally make the playoffs on the back of like an okay defense and an
84:23offense that knows exactly what it needs to do to get a division or get a wild card round loss.
84:29I think both those guys are really good play callers.
84:32Last year, the moment they don't have a really good play caller, Baker collapses.
84:35Early in his career, not a lot of good play callers in Baker's career.
84:39Not a lot of good seasons. And now I think they're going to another, probably not that good of a play caller in Zach Robinson.
84:47Like just total retread. Don't know how he's getting OC jobs.
84:50So I don't have a ton of confidence in the structure of the offense.
84:54And Chris Godwin's old hasn't stayed healthy and was the worst version of himself by a country mile last year.
84:59And the team has invested a lot in wide receiver.
85:02They also lose Mike Evans, but it invested a lot in Ibuka, McMillan, and Ted Hurst.
85:07I can see how Chris Godwin could be back because he's been really good throughout his career.
85:12But I think there are a lot of pitfalls in the way of him being back.
85:16There's a case to be made that you shouldn't be drafting Ibuka because of this.
85:20I haven't drafted a lot of him. He's a player I want to draft a lot, but fantasy managers have generally just
85:27anointed him as the next high-end wide receiver too.
85:29He's not quite there yet. I think he's good.
85:32I think he'd pay a lot just for a good job.
85:35This is the list that we need to create.
85:38We're creating a list, if anyone knows this, talked about it like an hour ago in the show.
85:43We're creating a list of receivers that we love that we can't draft.
85:46And I think Ibuka has got to be on that list right there with Jaden Higgins.
85:51Yep, that's it. That's another one. We're going to find some more as the show goes along.
85:56The show keeps going and going and going. We get another 15 minutes to go here.
86:00We'll go rapid fire. This is real rapid fire.
86:03I kept saying rapid fire. We're going to rapid fire.
86:06We're really, this time, I mean it. We're going to rapid fire.
86:09This is, this is, you're going to, everyone's going to feel what rapid fire is right now.
86:14Here we go. Falcons QBs. Is Tua the next Darnold?
86:17Hell no. Easy question. Next. Hit it out of the park.
86:20You're drafting a lot of Michael Penix then. A little bit.
86:23The problem is neither of them are going to play 17 games, so it makes it a hard bet.
86:28But if I had to pick one to score more fantasy points and play more games, Penix.
86:33All the way. Give me Penix. I almost, I tried to draft Penix in the startup where I was trying to draft like seven bad quarterbacks.
86:41Nice. And I got, I got sniped on Penix.
86:43It happens. It happens. Ended up with, ended up with the Shadur Sanders, which not a great consolation prize.
86:49Much prefer Michael Penix in that situation. Bengals passing game.
86:51Super stable. Everyone's back. Like no vacated targets at all.
86:54Mike Gusecki though. Mike Gusecki. Mike Gusecki truthers unite.
86:57Who says no? You guys have fun with that.
86:59Boom. Knocked out of the park. There you go.
87:02So no Mike Gusecki. I don't want to say zero, but like we saw him get snaps last year.
87:07He had like four games over 50% of the snaps.
87:10Not many because he's Mike Gusecki and he did less than 20 yards in every single one of those games.
87:16We didn't see 2024 contingent value, super single game upside Mike Gusecki almost at all last year.
87:21He had one spike week and it was not in a chase or Higgins list game.
87:25Like you were not starving him that week. So like he's fine.
87:29He is going to run routes, but he's, he didn't do almost anything last year and he's not good.
87:34So he isn't good at football is the problem.
87:37He's better at basketball. That's why he's best comparable to Jordan Cameron on player profile.com Patriots passing game.
87:42Who's the wide receiver to Dobbs. He's making more money than some small countries.
87:46It's not, it's not wrong. Who's the best talent though.
87:49They have after AJ Brown, who's the best player.
87:51Who's the best for us. Who's the best actual receiver in the NFL.
87:55Is it Keishon Boote booty? Look, I could be convinced of this.
87:58I don't think the Pats care. We know they don't care because last year I was kind of impressed with his first month of the season.
88:06He gets a little dinged up, but he does come back and they're like, it's Mac Holland's time.
88:11They never let booty pick up that role once again.
88:14Then they go out and double down on addressing receiver.
88:17And even the off season booty didn't show up some voluntary off season stuff.
88:20The team talk or the team, the reporters talked about maybe he could be a trade candidate.
88:25The team has fallen out of love with booty in a way that I think is like, you just can't draft this guy.
88:32As much as I could be talked into the argument that he's the second best talent receiver.
88:37I don't know how much it'll matter here. Hold on to Kyle Williams and dynasty.
88:41You got to have a deep roster. God damn it.
88:44God damn it. There was a, there was a raging internal debate here that spilled over into the podcast at player profiler last year.
88:51I was trying to temper expectations around Kyle Williams.
88:53And I said, I'd prefer the contingent value of come on.
88:56If it all. And I have since been redeemed.
88:59That was a hot take last year. You know that?
89:02Yeah. Look, we, we, we made some, we made some mistakes with Kyle Williams.
89:06I'm not going to lie. I had someone who draft look, I like to have a little fun guys.
89:11I had some fun last year drafting Kyle. I had some fun with Kimani, but all by the way that come on, but also fun player.
89:19It was like I said, film off, you know?
89:21Yeah. That's not fun. That is not fun. No one's talking about DJ more in Buffalo.
89:26Have you noticed this? And yet he's the clear wide receiver one and could be in for a big year.
89:31That's another, you have fun with that. Like last year, I, I get that Kayla Williams is not like particularly down to down accurate.
89:38And I think that was bad for DJ more, but was DJ more getting open?
89:42No, didn't look like he was getting open. Was he producing yak?
89:46No, he wasn't producing yak. Was he earning targets?
89:48No, it was one of his worst target earning the seasons of his career.
89:52So even the ways we can attempt to control for Kayla Williams, who I think is good in some ways on a down to down level.
90:00He just misses a lot of throws. The ways that we can attempt to control for that all still point to DJ
90:06more being one, like past the age apex and two bad.
90:09So I, I haven't drafted much DJ more to me.
90:12This is goes one of two ways. He's either revived.
90:15Like he's Stefan digs going to the bills or, and I think he's being priced like that is the most likely outcome.
90:21We saw this with Amari Cooper. We're like, Oh, we need to get some veteran receiver help in this room.
90:27Bills let's draft or let's trade for Amari Cooper, who was clearly washed and DJ more, all the numbers we have on him.
90:33We're like, Hmm, it looks pretty washed. And he does play like Amari Cooper too.
90:38Yeah. He, he could just be Amari bills. Amari.
90:40I hate that. I'd love that you said that because it's, it's apropos.
90:44Yeah. Cause he goes from 1300 yards on 136 targets to 966 yards on 140 targets.
90:48He does have like interesting sort of career where he had some big air yard seasons.
90:53Then he has some yaks at 29. The guy's dust after putting up one, two, three, almost four, 1500 air yard seasons in a row.
91:00Now he's dust. I'm hearing he's dust at 29.
91:03I just don't believe he's dust. So we're going to disagree.
91:06I don't believe he's dust. I think he's going to deliver value.
91:09This is an offense. I want exposure to this is a player I believe in.
91:13And unless there are a significant number of lower body injuries, hamstring injuries, all these things, which Amari Cooper certainly had.
91:19And Amari Cooper famously did not put it any effort into strength and conditioning.
91:23If you stack all those things up on Amari Cooper, you could see an early, an early exit of the league.
91:29DJ more, I feel like has another year left.
91:32We have no evidence of DJ more, not putting an effort, which he specifically did that the bears hated him for was the lack of effort.
91:39I watched this man with my own eyes walk off the field in the middle of a play.
91:44I don't think I've ever seen that before. So like, I think there is also, look, maybe he refines his effort in
91:51a way that Amari Cooper never did, but he also showed that red flag that Cooper maybe did too.
91:56God, I hate that. I think you're getting me on this.
91:59I think, I think I convinced you on a couple of these players.
92:03I think I had, I think, I think you've seen the light a little bit on guys like Chris Godwin.
92:09I may have seen the light on DJ more, but stay tuned, everybody.
92:12Just stay tuned. I'm not there yet, but I'm officially worried about DJ more in a way I was not before the show commander's passing game.
92:20They don't sign digs. What happens? I think it's ugly.
92:23I don't think there's a clear wide receiver to winter.
92:25Antonio Williams was like a slot only, not high yarded share player who also was not a particularly good yak player in college.
92:32Just don't get what the upside with him is.
92:34If you want the like underneath compliment to Terry McLaurin, I think that guy is chick.
92:39It's again, like the, not the funnest click, but chick has been one of the best yak tight ends in the NFL since he entered the NFL.
92:47And that is exactly what the team needs. It's what the team needed with Debo Samuel last year.
92:52The team just fell apart. So I think Chig would be the answer if they don't sign digs, which doesn't seem like it's happening.
92:59Get Chig. I love that. Yes. Get Chig in the commander's passing game.
93:02That's the just similar to the, it's like Friar Muth with upside and more excitement and more juice.
93:07Yeah. There are some of these passing games where the answer is the tight end.
93:12That's true. Brown's running game. Judkins a value. Yeah, I think so.
93:15I think the way they've talked about him and the stuff we've seen him in the off season, I'm still a little
93:21concerned that he doesn't look like Quinshawn Judkins when he comes back, but he does so far from everything we can tell
93:28seem to have recovered as flawlessly as you can from a really catastrophic injury.
93:32He was a really good prospect who earned a ton of work as a rookie.
93:36I'm, you know, tepidly I am in. Okay, good.
93:38My favorite backdoor stack. I have a favorite double backdoor stack, which is hard to do.
93:43Double stack. Geno Smith, Adonai Mitchell, Kenyon Sadiq. You approve of that.
93:46As we've talked about earlier, I guarantee you love that, right?
93:50I did talk about AD Mitchell. I will make one note.
93:53But if I could take your stack and do one little tweak, I'm drafting a lot of Omar Cooper.
93:58I think, look, I didn't even think Omar Cooper was a good receiver prospect.
94:02Like, I didn't think he should have gone in the first round.
94:06Like, largely this guy just goes out and beats up on FCS schools and calls it a day.
94:11That being said, I think much smarter men than me have been fooled time and time again by the idea that they
94:17can very soundly beat draft position from NFL draft capital.
94:20He's one of the cheapest first round rookies we're getting.
94:23And we've seen this hit before. Like, the worst example of this where it works is like a Jahan Dotson, who is
94:29objectively not a good football player, who also got on the field and made some splash plays as a rookie and was
94:35an extremely high advance rate and had a good finish to the season where you really wanted to have him in all formats, best ball in particular, though.
94:43But also, like, I was like, ah, Justin Jefferson, why wouldn't I just take the better player in Jalen Rieger all those years ago?
94:50Like, we don't know as much as we think we do in terms of Omar Cooper is going as one of the
94:56cheapest first round rookies we ever get. I mean, Garrett Wilson was this guy in his rookie season.
95:01Let's just do the triple stack. We'll do it.
95:04We'll do the backdoor triple stack. We'll add Cooper to it.
95:07We'll make it happen. After we saw Fannin last year, after we saw Gadsden, my thinking is, man, I think about the rookie year that Bowers had.
95:15Sadiq could be quite good. Even though he started slow because he missed camp, he's going to be back.
95:20He's rehabbed. He's ready to go. He's all systems go for mandatory training camp and preseason.
95:25I'm in on this offense. This is going to be a throw first offense.
95:29They even have like a pumped up satellite back as they're starting running back that they just extended in Brees Hall.
95:35So this is all whether it be Brees Hall, Sadiq, Cooper, bringing in Addy Mitchell, Garrett Wilson, all this.
95:40This there's a clear signal being sent that this is going to be a DGAF gunslinger type offense in New York.
95:46Yeah, this is a good this is a good bet to be this year's Cardinals.
95:50We're like objectively awful football team. Don't watch any of their games.
95:54You can check their box scores at the end.
95:56Those are very nice. Get you out of here.
95:59Give us a bold prediction, my friend. I didn't get to do the full sales pitch on Brees Hall Tootin.
96:04Now I get to Brees Hall Tootin, top five fantasy running back.
96:08Imagine if Travis H. was actually good. Brees Hall Tootin, top five fantasy running back.
96:12Imagine if Travis H. was actually good. I looked into the camera.
96:15I guess I looked into the screen, the camera capturing me.
96:19I was like, I look very angry. Like, what is wrong with me?
96:22And I was like, oh, yeah, we were just talking about the men's team.
96:26You're like, we'll work it into the show. And I'm like, I'm still just annoyed.
96:31Like, I just realized that looking at my own face, seeing myself on camera, I was like, oh, that really, I don't want to say ruin.
96:38I'll be fine. 30 seconds. I'm a Tootin Slappy to my core.
96:41I think he's very good. You are? You're a Tootin Slappy?
96:45I thought you were going to say Tyrion Arnold.
96:47I was like, yeah, they did lose him. It's, I don't want to say too soon.
96:52Like, we can talk about it. But congrats on the, on the touchdowns per, per catch stuff.
96:56Like, I'm sure that's super stable, buddy. Well, no, I recorded it.
97:00I farted into a microphone. Of course I'm making about Travis Hunter.
97:03Booty? All the numbers we have on him, we're like, hmm, it looks pretty washed.
