A.J. Brown

PositiveValue189:53

A.J. Brown is considered a top-tier wide receiver whose selection off the board creates a 'dry spot' in drafts, forcing managers to reach for the next tier of receivers.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeBust10:24

Alec Pierce is a fade due to conflicting reports regarding his injury and a lack of progress in returning to the field. His ADP has dropped from the fifth to the seventh round, but he remains an avoid.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

NegativeValue192:05

Nelson is high on Carnell Tate, though he acknowledges that settling for him as a WR2 is a consequence of prioritizing running backs early in the draft.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeValue206:58

Chris Godwin is being drafted earlier than his typical sixth-round ADP in high-stakes drafts, with analysts noting that managers are forced to adapt to the market's aggression.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeUsage33:33

Christian McCaffrey is dealing with tightness, but there is no major concern. However, his heavy workload from last season (leading the league in touches) makes him a risky bet at age 30.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveBreakout7:11

Colton Loveland is identified as a major beneficiary of the injury situation surrounding Luther Burden, as the team's target distribution may shift in his favor.

Insight page

Cyrus Allen

PositiveSleeper44:56

Allen is a speculative late-round pick in Kansas City. Given the injury concerns surrounding Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice, Allen could potentially carve out a role in the offense.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue218:04

D'Andre Swift is considered a solid RB2 option in the fifth round, providing value even when drafted after early-round wide receiver investments.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveValue20:55

Dallas Goedert is undervalued at his current draft price. With AJ Brown gone, he is positioned as the clear number two option in the offense and could pay off significantly.

Insight page

De'Zhaun Stribling

PositiveSleeper37:17

Stribling is a target for the 49ers' receiving corps, as he is younger and healthier than the veteran options on the roster. He is expected to carve out a significant role during the regular season.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout35:57

Boston is a rising prospect who is now seeing reps with the first-team offense. Steve Smith compared him to Drake London, and his draft stock is expected to climb as more people take notice of his camp performance.

Insight page

Dontayvion Wicks

PositiveRole19:00

Dontayvion Wicks is a primary beneficiary of the current Eagles injury situation and is trending toward taking over the number two role in the offense.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveValue189:53

Drake London is identified as a high-priority wide receiver who, along with A.J. Brown, triggers a significant tier gap in drafts, causing managers to shift their strategies to secure him early.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveValue199:02

Drake Maye is considered a clear tier-break quarterback, with his selection in the sixth round praised as a strong move to secure an elite quarterback edge.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

PositiveValue189:24

Emeka Egbuka is highlighted as a target that managers will aggressively move up to secure once the top-tier wide receivers are off the board.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveValue28:41

George Kittle is becoming a more bullish target as other players go down with injuries. He is a high-upside veteran who can produce numbers few other tight ends can, especially in the second half of the season.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeDepth Chart215:29

With Kyler Murray named the Vikings' starting quarterback, J.J. McCarthy's draft stock is expected to remain stable, as his current ADP already accounted for the uncertainty.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeInjury23:35

Dobbins left practice with trainers, raising concerns about his injury history; however, there is no official update yet. Despite the risk, he remains a solid veteran pick for early-season lineup stability while waiting for younger prospects like Trey Henderson or Jonathan Brooks to develop.

Insight page
NegativeInjury38:55

J.K. Dobbins left practice with trainers, raising concerns due to his history of soft tissue injuries. There is no official update, but his injury history makes him a risky asset.

Insight page
PositiveInjury215:12

J.K. Dobbins is back in pads and practicing, which is viewed as a positive development that renders previous injury concerns a 'nothing burger.'

Insight page

Jadarian Price

PositiveBreakout220:15

Jadarian Price is viewed as an upside pick with the potential to be a breakout running back, making him a valuable target in the middle rounds.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveValue69:53

Nelson targeted James Cook as a foundational piece for his draft build from the 11 hole, viewing him as a potential difference-maker.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

NegativeInjury10:01

There is no significant concern regarding Jaden Reed's status; it is too early in the preseason to worry about his availability.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeInjury7:24

Jalen Waddle's current injury is not a major concern yet, but missing more than another week of practice would be problematic due to the need for chemistry development with a new quarterback.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeValue217:08

While Jeremiah Love is acknowledged for his talent, there is skepticism regarding his situation, leading some analysts to prefer wide receivers in that draft range.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveRole24:48

Coleman is viewed as a potential three-down back who has impressed coaches with his pass-blocking ability in practice, a significant improvement over previous expectations. He is a strong target who may share goal-line work with Dobbins.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveBreakout220:15

Jonathon Brooks is considered a high-upside 'lottery ticket' running back who can provide significant value if selected in the seventh round.

Insight page

Jordan James

PositiveSleeper35:10

Jordan James is a preferred late-round target (rounds 18-20) over Kalen Black because he already knows the offensive system. He could provide value if McCaffrey misses time.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveValue67:46

Mason is a prime candidate to rise significantly in ADP if the Vikings signal he is the primary starter over Aaron Jones. He is currently undervalued with room to jump into the top 70-80 picks.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

PositiveBreakout16:52

Jordan Tyson is expected to be a fifth-round fixture in drafts based on his performance in training camp clips.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue11:53

Josh Downs is a value target who has returned to practice. His ADP has not risen as much as expected, and he could potentially move into the fifth-round range as he cements his role.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeProjection58:56

Concerns persist regarding Jefferson's fantasy outlook due to the uncertain quarterback situation in Minnesota, leading some to rank him behind other top-tier wide receivers like CeeDee Lamb.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveRole54:47

Mitchell is expected to have a distinct, separate role in the offense, similar to the usage of De'Von Achane and Raheem Mostert in previous Mike McDaniel-led schemes. He is a valuable late-round target.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

NegativeInjury32:48

Sadiq is currently undraftable due to a setback following hernia surgery. He is expected to be behind in learning the offense, making him a player to monitor on waivers rather than draft.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue3:32

Despite a one-month injury timeline, Luther Burden remains a buy-the-dip candidate. His ADP has dropped from the middle of the third round to the fourth or even early fifth, providing value for a player expected to be ready for opening day.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

NegativeBust17:26

Makai Lemon is going too high in drafts given the crowded Eagles offense and his recurring injury issues, including a missed OTA period and current camp absence.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveProjection57:24

Nabers is expected to climb draft boards toward the 1-2 turn as drafters prioritize clear WR1s. There is a debate regarding his ranking relative to Justin Jefferson, with some analysts preferring Nabers due to quarterback stability concerns in Minnesota.

Insight page
PositiveValue189:24

Malik Nabers is expected to rise into the 11-15 overall range in high-stakes drafts as managers prioritize elite wide receivers after the top tier is exhausted.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveSleeper68:38

Washington is a sneaky late-round target who is developing strong chemistry with his quarterback. He is projected to potentially catch 5-6 passes per week in a high-volume passing offense.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeValue23:54

Mark Andrews is being slept on, though there are concerns about his role as the second option behind Zay Flowers. He is viewed as a productive veteran tight end.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

PositiveBreakout26:03

Lloyd is considered a high-upside target, though he is currently being drafted alongside Jonah Coleman. The analysts suggest drafting both if possible to capitalize on their respective potential.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

NegativeInjury10:01

While Matthew Golden is slightly more concerning than Jaden Reed due to being newer to the offense, there is no real news or cause for alarm regarding his injury status.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeValue197:23

Nelson selected Michael Pittman as a 'steady' wide receiver option, preferring his reliability over the high-variance 'home run' upside of other available receivers.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury26:45

Mike Evans is a fade due to his history of nagging injuries. He is currently dealing with a quad contusion, and if he misses another week of practice, his ADP will likely slide from the fourth to the fifth round.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue62:03

Washington is a rising target in the fourth round of drafts, with analysts favoring him over veterans like Mike Evans and DJ Moore due to his role in a high-powered offense and positive training camp reports.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeUsage24:57

Harvey is described as an unsexy, low-buzz pick who is expected to maintain a role in the passing game. His goal-line usage remains a question mark, with potential competition from Dobbins and Coleman.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

NegativeRole42:26

Dobbs is getting buzz for his rapport with Drake Maye and could serve as a solid WR2/flex option. However, he is expected to be an inconsistent producer who may frustrate fantasy managers with boom-or-bust weeks.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveUsage41:21

Bigsby is being talked up in Philadelphia camp as a potential contributor who could help lighten the load for Saquon Barkley. He is a candidate to move up draft boards as a potential RB2.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveSleeper46:26

Ferguson is viewed as a high-upside 'zero or hero' target who has moved from an 18th-round pick to the 11th-13th round. He is considered a 'move tight end' who could emerge as the Rams' third option behind Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, especially given the injury history of the veteran receivers. Matt Kelley holds over 50% ownership, noting that the crowded tight end room keeps his price low, but he could be a top-six weekly option if a starter misses time.

Insight page
PositiveValue46:30

Ferguson is rising in ADP, moving from the 18th round to the 11th round in some drafts. He is viewed as a key target due to the lack of depth in his team's wide receiver room.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeRole23:54

Travis Kelce is viewed as an older tight end who is currently the second option in his offense behind Rashee Rice.

Insight page

Tre Harris

PositiveSleeper66:09

Harris is viewed as a sleeper who will beat his current ADP, with expectations that he could emerge as the Chargers' WR2 this season.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeValue29:06

Despite initial plans to fade him, Craft looks healthy and is moving well in camp. He is considered a potential steal in the 8th or 9th round, with the upside to produce as a top-tier tight end if he maintains his previous form.

Insight page
PositiveValue204:17

Tucker Kraft is viewed by some as an elite top-five tight end, making him a viable flex option in specific roster constructions.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveValue14:12

Tyler Warren is a strong value pick in the fifth or sixth round, allowing drafters to build a heavy wide receiver core early before securing him.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeInjury27:29

Charbonnet is coming off an ACL injury suffered late in the season and is viewed as part of a messy committee backfield. The analysts are fading him due to the injury and his performance last year.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury2:10

Zay Flowers is dealing with a thigh contusion, but there is no cause for concern; he is a veteran who will be relied upon as the team's number one option all year, and the team is simply being cautious during the preseason.

Insight page
PositiveInjury51:31

Zay Flowers returned to practice, alleviating concerns regarding his health status.

0:00I hope all you out there in those fantasy streets are fired up about drafting.
0:05It's August, training camps are in full swing and that means we're finally getting actionable news.
0:11We got injuries, we got surprise performers, we have draft board risers.
0:15It's all happening out there. Doesn't matter if you've been drafting for months or just starting to dip your toe in the
0:22water, we got a banger of a show for you today.
0:26And I can't wait any longer to rip the lid off this thing, so let's get into the Empire.
0:32All right, here we are. Good morning, gentlemen. How are we doing today?
0:37Good, good. Fantastic. We're about a month away from, we got a month left in draft season and every day feels like
0:44we're either in a draft or on a live stream.
0:48So it's completely, we're knee deep in fantasy football season now for sure.
0:52This is like Christmas every day type things, you know, open a new present every day.
0:58So love it. Mm-hmm. All right. Well, let's, let's get the unpleasant subject out of the way right now.
1:04We gotta, we gotta talk injuries. They suck. Unless of course you faded that player and bankrolled someone who's gonna benefit.
1:11But you know, we never want to see those injuries.
1:15So, but let's be clear. There's injuries that matter in their precautionary absences because tweaks and twinges right now you get a hangnail.
1:23You could be on the show for a week, but we're gonna highlight the most important absences, how we're handling them.
1:30And Matt, why don't you lead us off? Hit us up with Zay Flowers.
1:34What's on your mind? Well, I think he's fine.
1:38I'm just drafting him like there's no issue here.
1:41So I have no, no qualms about it. As you said, it's preseason.
1:45So they're going to be very cautious on everything.
1:48Yeah. I mean, a thigh contusion, that's nothing to worry about.
1:52Give a veteran, I mean, at this point of his career, he is a veteran now.
1:57You know, they're going to rely on him to be the number one all year long.
2:03Take a week or a week and a half off and we'll see you at the end of preseason.
2:09All right. Sounds good. Chris, how about Luther Burden?
2:12What are you doing with him? Yeah, this is obviously the big one, guys, with Luther Burden.
2:18Everybody was on bated breath waiting to find out the news a couple days ago, see if he was going to be
2:26out long term or just a couple days. Turns out he's going to be out about a month and that's significant.
2:33But here's the way I look at it. You know, he was moving up the boards quicker as quick as anybody.
2:40He was basically coming into the middle of the third round and not getting out of the end of the third round.
2:47Now, I think what you're going to see over the last couple of days, what we have seen over the last couple
2:55of days is some people clip him at the middle of the fourth, end of the fourth, sometimes even early fifth.
3:02I did last night for six. Yeah, for six.
3:05There you go. So for me, now that I know it's one month and he's going to be there on opening day at worst, maybe miss a week.
3:15I'm still taking the I'm buying the dip. Give me him in the fourth round every time or or even a little sooner than that.
3:23I'm treating it like, you know, he's he's not going to miss any regular season time.
3:29I don't think it's really I think it's from the offseason, from the weight training they were talking about him and Colton
3:36Loveland just being in the building, you know, working out nonstop.
3:40The OTAs he dominated, the early camp he dominated.
3:43I saw him yesterday. He's walking around. There was no limp.
3:47Yeah, he was following in that. That looks pretty good to me.
3:51I think like, you know what? This guy's ready to rock.
3:55Let's just be cautious. Yeah, I'll take whatever discount there is.
3:58No doubt about that. That's the good news, though, Dan, is, you know, what this is going to do is it takes
4:06his price down a little bit for the rest of draft season, whereas everybody was going to have to pay that middle of the third round price.
4:15You're not going to have to pay that now.
4:18No one's really going to take a middle of the third round anymore like you had to these last week or two.
4:26You know, now you're going to get him at where he originally was a month ago.
4:31So, yeah, I see Loveland as being a big beneficiary and Doonsay, of course, as well.
4:37It depends on what you thought of a Doonsay to start with.
4:41All right. Nelson, how about Jalen Waddell? What do you get on him?
4:45Anything? I think it's similar to Zay Flowers. I don't think there's too much.
4:50No big deal. I think if we get, you know, next week, you know, we go more than another week of him
4:57not practicing, then we start worrying because then it's kind of like, OK, do we really believe these coaches with what they're giving out for injury information?
5:07But right now I'm not worried about it. Nelson, let me ask you this with Waddell.
5:12Is there a little concern just because of the chemistry with a new quarterback and a new system?
5:18Not a new system, really, but like a new quarterback, a quarterback wide receiver trying to get in tune and he winds up missing two, three weeks?
5:27So 100 percent, if that's what happens. That's what that's why I'm saying.
5:32If he misses more than another week, I'm going to start getting a little bit concerned because that's not ideal.
5:39You have historically it's not ideal when you have receivers getting banged up and having injuries here in the preseason.
5:46It's bad timing. And especially if it's a multi-week type of injury and and then they're not really coaches, not really saying
5:53something, but he's not returning to practice. Now, now I'm a little concerned.
5:57Yeah. Yep. Fair enough. All right. I'll just hit the two Green Bay guys, Jaden Reed and Matthew Golden.
6:04I think it's a little bit too early to be concerned about them.
6:08I guess if I had to be a little more concerned about one, it would just be Golden because he's newer to the offense.
6:17But I don't I don't think there's any real news there.
6:20Matt, let's get to another one of the big ones.
6:24Alec Pierce. I'm I'm concerned. I was a big Pierce guy last year, but I did see that he didn't get a second PRP, whatever it's called injection.
6:33That's what I heard this morning. Yesterday there was news that did.
6:37It just doesn't really look good at this point that, you know, it's.
6:42Yeah. I don't like those conflicting reports, you know, it's like, well, you know, do we know that the second report is really the right one?
6:51Maybe the first report was right. And maybe they're, you know, the team is trying to spin it.
6:57I don't know. Yeah. So, I mean, look, he's a guy that was going in the fifth round in June.
7:04Now he's in like the seventh. And I really just haven't clicked on him all summer.
7:09Yeah. Yeah. I can't do it either. How about you guys?
7:13Any any pin action off of that either for Josh Downs or anyone else?
7:18He was a fade for me originally. So I, I wasn't really interested in him anyways.
7:23And this, I don't think it's, this is good news.
7:26You know, I look at it as he'll continue.
7:30I'm surprised his price hasn't. Yeah. Yeah. I've been kind of surprised by that too.
7:35The price hasn't really sagged as much as I thought it would by now.
7:39I think Downs price should be going up and it's not what I've seen in drafts.
7:45And I think Pierce like should tank, but people, there's always, you always find somebody in the draft room willing to take them.
7:53I got, I expected. I got down Saturday at the seven, eight turn because of the news, but I never believed it to be anything serious.
8:02And, you know, I'll take advantage of that as much as possible.
8:06Yeah. The Josh Downs week of when he hit that groin injury really allowed you to get an, you know, an extra round of value on him.
8:15Uh, now he comes back to practice today. All the people that took advantage of that one, uh, you know, one round,
8:22round and a half dip last week, cashed in, um, the Alec Pierce, like we said, I'm surprised he's not falling down past the hundred range.
8:31Uh, this is a guy that he's probably coming close to an opening day type return end of summer.
8:38Then he's got to get ramped up. This is a guy that's been on the sidelines for a long time now.
8:45Um, so I still don't understand that. And then the third part of the whole equation is at what point do we
8:52start seeing Tyler Warren walk into the fourth round or the end of the fourth round here?
8:58Um, you know, he's still making it in a lot of these drafts to the end of the fifth, early sixth.
9:05And it's allowing teams that start off with the, the Gibbs, Bijan, Jamar Chase, Puka range to build on heavy wide receivers.
9:13And then still clip Tyler Warren in the end of the fifth or early sixth.
9:18And those teams look effing loaded. Yeah, totally agree.
9:21How, how high do you think this pushes up downs, assuming that he's back to practice and everything's fine.
9:28And, uh, you know, Pierce is still out at least a couple of weeks from practice.
9:33Are we going into the fifth round eventually higher?
9:36I don't know about fifth round, but there's that tier break right around the 60, 65 range where receivers start drying up in these drafts.
9:45And there's gotta be someone that, you know, cements themselves into that range where the DK Metcalfs go and everything.
9:51And everybody has their little, you know, uh, their, their flavor, uh, of who they liked the most in each draft.
9:59But I wouldn't be shocked if downs moves past these guys and, and cements themselves right there, uh, ahead of that range.
10:06As soon as, you know, like a, like in the Jordan Tyson range in the early sixties now.
10:12I mean, I'm a Chris, I think that middle six when, when the running backs run out after that running back run at the five, six turn.
10:21But, uh, I mean, Tyson, as you just mentioned, Chris, I think Tyson's going to be living in the fifth round pretty much.
10:29He seems to be the guy that's, you know, all these video, all these clips we're seeing.
10:35So I think he's the one that's going to be living in round five.
10:40Yeah. Yeah. Could be. All right. Uh, Nelson, what do you, what do you think about the Eagles guys?
10:46Uh, Devante Smith, Makai Lemon. I just think with Makai Lemon, it's too crowded, uh, in year one for him.
10:53So I think he's going too high in drafts.
10:56Um, I think him as a rookie missing time is not ideal.
11:00Um, trying to learn a new offense in your rookie year, you're missing a ton of training camp.
11:06Uh, he missed, uh, time. I believe he missed time in OTAs also with a hamstring injury.
11:12So there's a little bit of a pattern now developing.
11:16Uh, I'm not interested in him. Uh, Devante Smith, I am very interested in him.
11:21So I am very interested to see, uh, what ends up happening.
11:25I think the report this morning was not expected to practice, but he was out on the field.
11:31I think he was doing a little bit of, you know, stretching and stuff like that.
11:37Would you say Devante Wicks is the biggest beneficiary?
11:40I would assume. I, I think, uh, it's Goddard even, even more so and Wicks.
11:45Yeah. Yeah. I mean, the, the report the other day of Wicks looking like he's about to take over the number two role in the offense.
11:54It makes sense. Okay. Uh, you know, um, the kid lemon, you never want to see a rookie miss this much of
12:01camp coming into the NFL, not getting acclimated with the system, the quarterback and everything.
12:06You could just see a kid like him having a rough rookie season.
12:11And that's another guy I'm surprised you haven't seen the ADP dip to the 90s and into the hundreds with him, with all this time being missed.
12:20I know he's talked up highly. He, uh, people love him.
12:24Uh, he's dynamic and everything. And people want to get a piece of that Eagles offense, but this kid doesn't get back to practice within the next week.
12:33Um, you know, you're really going to start seeing a dip on him.
12:38I believe. Can we give a shout out to, uh, Joey Brown, uh, friend of the show.
12:43I think he's got like 70% Don Tavian Wicks.
12:46He's been a, you know, late round Wicks guy.
12:50So give JB a little love. Yeah. And, uh, Scott Kobe asking is Goddard undervalued in drafts?
12:55I think so. I've been, uh, taking Goddard right along and, uh, in a lot of drafts and he's not usually, you
13:03know, in past years, he's been a guy I've been more likely to stay away from.
13:08So when you think he's going out, you know, it's something.
13:12I think he's going at a very good price right now.
13:16Uh, cause I think that he can definitely pay off his price.
13:20He hasn't gotten expensive. I, you know, based on this offense and, and the way we're seeing it with like, you know,
13:27after Devante Smith, I think it's Goddard. That is like the number two this year, uh, with AJ Brown gone, I think
13:35he should be going up in like the Fannin Laporta territory.
13:39And, uh, you know, right now he's kind of, that's a big jump.
13:43That's a big jump then Nelson to, to go that far up.
13:47I know that you grabbed him in our prime, uh, to complete a nice build on your, uh, on your, on your team there.
13:55And you got to Goddard in like, what, maybe 10th round, 11th round, something like that.
14:0110th round, something like that. Um, I mean, he, he's got better numbers than Devante Smith without AJ Brown.
14:07So the, let's talk about real quick, the three, the three guys that go in that range, they're all priced kind of the same way.
14:16And if you look at them, they're all similar.
14:19You got one, if you miss that whole big tier of tight ends, and then the second tier of the four guys
14:26we talked about, Laporte fan and those guys, you get into that range of Goddard, um, Mark Andrews and Travis Kelsey.
14:34And what are all three of these guys? They're all similar.
14:37It's all looking in the mirror. They're all old tight ends, older tight ends that are the number two option.
14:44It looks like in their offense right now. Andrews second to Zay Flowers, Kelsey second to Rice and Goddard second to Devante.
14:52And they all go right there. So, you know, who's got one more year left in them out of these three, maybe,
14:59and maybe, you know, Nelson says, uh, it looks like he's in on Goddard.
15:04I think Andrews is getting slept on too. And I think he sucks kind of, but you know what?
15:10I don't see that situation. That's a glory review there.
15:14Sometimes it happens that way. I meant on him, but also he sucks.
15:18Listen, that's the one position that I agree with Chris, that you can say this tight end sucks, but he's being, he's productive.
15:26It's kind of like Dalton Schultz, right? Last year and, and guys like that, you're like, he sucks, but like he's being productive.
15:34So I think other positions, you know, wide receiver, a guy can't suck and be productive.
15:39Like the tight end position, I think is the one unique spot in fantasy.
15:44Yep. Totally agree. Well said, Nelson. Yep. And it's just because there are some targets that are designed for a tight end
15:52that, you know, simply aren't going to go to a wide receiver.
15:56And so the top tight end is going to get, you know, a share of those targets.
16:02So, uh, let's, let's move on to San Francisco.
16:05Um, Chris, what are you thinking about Mike Evans?
16:08He's got that quad injury. I mean, you know, on the surface, it seems like, you know, maybe it's a Zay Flowers
16:15type thing, just a quad contusion, uh, you know, but he's, he's still out, uh, thoughts on Evans.
16:21Uh, you know, another one that's, uh, needs to get into back into camp and start getting a rapport down with Purdy.
16:29Uh, he came out on fire the first week or two of camp.
16:33Um, now he's been gone a week. If he misses another week, you're going to start seeing him in the fifth round
16:41instead of the fourth round where he was going.
16:44You know, he started moving up into the middle of the fourth round, uh, right after that Terry McLaurin, Christian Watson group.
16:51He was like that next guy. Now you're seeing him hit the turn all the time and, and land in the fifth round.
16:59You're not going to see him move back into the fourth unless he gets back into camp in the next week.
17:06So, uh, a quad contusion, uh, you know, whatever he's got a contusion, nothing serious.
17:11It's not, uh, but he is, you know, Mike Evans and he's always got these nagging injuries.
17:17And it's a reason why he's a fade for me this year.
17:21I'm actually getting more bullish on Kittle. I was, wasn't in on Kittle, but I'm watching everybody drop like flies and look,
17:29it is risky, but he's a guy second half of the year or in the shootout that could just, you know, put
17:36up numbers that not a lot of other tight ends can do.
17:40You must've saw the video yesterday, right? On Twitter.
17:44That was going on. And over the weekend, there was, there was, there was another couple of ones I've been keeping an eye on.
17:52And like I said, it was a guy I really wasn't on, but I'm watching everybody go down.
17:58So, you know, I mean, we're still, to be fair with Kittle, we're waiting for him to come all the way back up.
18:06You know, we got to, there, there's a long way to go with him, but, um, yeah.
18:11But his price, I mean, in the 10th round of, you know.
18:16Right. Right. He knows the offense. He's, you know, if you take Kittle, you're going to take somebody.
18:22That he can play the first couple of weeks.
18:25It's like with the old guys and I'm going to sometimes bet, not all the time, but sometimes bet on the hall of fame type player.
18:34You know, that's what it's more for me. There you go.
18:37All right. Um, I think that pretty well covers it for wide receivers.
18:42So we're going to take a quick break here.
18:45Um, we'll be right back and cover some of the other positions.
18:49Ooh, trade just came out on my phone. Let's see.
18:52Should I make it? I don't know. I want to make a move now though.
18:58I don't want to wait to get back to my computer.
19:01What do I do? Oh, we have the dynasty dominator app that scores a trade based on our lifetime value rating at player profiler.com.
19:09We also give you just a price lookup tool with the ADP to say, what is this guy really worth?
19:16And the app has a player comparison tool to juxtapose the advanced metrics of two players.
19:22This is $5 in the app store. That's it.
19:25So we want you to do deep research on player profiler.com, but we also want you to be able to make moves in the moment.
19:33So go get that dynasty dominator. Now it's in the app store.
19:37It's on Google play and you can thank me later.
19:41All right. We are back. Nelson, Nelson sleeping on the job.
19:45Sorry. What are you on the clock in seven drafts right now?
19:49Is that what you're doing? I got a notification.
19:52I was on deck. Yeah. Is that because I'm on deck on our prime time, by the way?
19:58Am I up or on deck? On deck. On deck.
20:01All right. I've been waiting for that guy to make a pick for four hours.
20:06Yeah. Well, we were just talking about San Francisco.
20:10So, I mean, might as well lead into it.
20:13You know, the injury blurb we were all dreading.
20:16Christian McCaffrey with tightness. Tightness. I don't know what tightness is.
20:19Keep drafting them, guys. Yeah. Enjoy. There you go.
20:22All right. I mean, I'm personally not worried about this at this point.
20:27I remember last year, right before, like, the season started, there was the news.
20:32I forget what he had, but there was, you know, injury news on him.
20:36And I'm pretty much not. I'm waiting. I'll take him if he falls to me.
20:42I want to have a couple of shares. I really.
20:45I'm more concerned about the usage. He, like, led the league in touches.
20:49The previous times he did it, he finished, like, in the 50s and 70s.
20:54He looks like, you know, he's all jacked and he's phenomenal.
20:58But at 30, it's a tough bet for me to make.
21:02Yeah. Yeah, definitely. I mean, I think, you know, and we might as well talk about the backups here because they're both injured.
21:10We got Kalen Black with an adductor and we have Jordan James with fractured ribs.
21:15I mean, you know, between the two of those, I think I'm probably a little bit more in on James than I
21:22am on Black just because he already knows the offense.
21:26Fractured ribs is something you can pad him up and put him out there, you know, if you really need to.
21:33Plus, he's still got another month before, you know, you're really worried about it.
21:38Whereas with Kalen Black, I mean, with an adductor, you could be talking one week.
21:43You could be talking four weeks. It's just hard to say because we don't know the severity of the strain, you know.
21:50And then once again, like McKay Lemon, here's a rookie who's missing valuable practice reps.
21:55I think it just, you know, Jordan James already knows the offensive system and everything.
22:00To me, it firmly pushes James up in front of Black.
22:04What do you guys think? Yeah, I've been taking Jordan James in like the 19th, 20th rounds of my drafts for a couple weeks now.
22:13I expect him to be back first. And if CMC misses time or goes down, you never know.
22:19You could have a guy that plays like a Jordan Mason role for you from a couple years ago in that backfield.
22:26So just a little small lottery ticket to take late in those drafts.
22:31Those, you know, rounds 18 to 20 are really dried up now in NFFC drafts.
22:36But what I wanted to say with this backfield is at what point do they get on the phone with the Cardinals
22:43and say, hey, why don't you ship old man Connor over here or maybe even Trey Benson?
22:49Like Brian Robinson last year right before the season.
22:52Yeah. You know Lynch will do it. So, yeah.
22:55I'm just upset that we're never going to get the Prince who was promised Isaac Garendo season.
23:01I mean, he's the most talented in that backfield outside of McCaffrey.
23:05But I don't know. For me, I'm starting to get to the point where I might just fade this whole offense except
23:13for a couple of guys that go for free.
23:16It's just trending in the wrong direction. I don't want to sound the alarms just yet.
23:21But it's still early. But it just seems like a ton of injuries.
23:26They're older guys. You know, this offense could go in the tank real quick.
23:30Yeah. We can. Can definitely see that. Chris, let's move over to Denver.
23:35J.K. Tottenham is another one that just kind of makes our hackles rise every time we see something about a soft tissue injury.
23:43Yeah. He left practice yesterday with the trainers. What are you thinking?
23:47I don't think anything. I don't. There's no update that I've seen.
23:51You know, it's all speculation at this point. But his name is J.K.
23:55Dobbins. And we know what that means. You know, the guys.
23:59I don't want to say he's made of glass.
24:02But talk about a guy that's just always getting nicked up or hurt severely.
24:07It's one thing after another. Now, you know, we could in a couple hours find out it was dehydration.
24:13Hydration, you know, and or something like that or just Nick.
24:17And he's right back in practice today or tomorrow.
24:20But as for now, I'm still drafting him where he's going.
24:24I still think he's a solid pick on the board to get a veteran body in your lineup early in the season.
24:31If you're someone that drafts like maybe like a Jadarian Price earlier or Trey Henderson or one of these guys or Jonathan Brooks.
24:39You know, guys that you need to see a couple weeks.
24:43You know, he's the veteran name that you could put on your team.
24:48Other than that, maybe a slight bump for Jonah Coleman right here.
24:52That's what I was going to ask you. And, you know, and what's the deal?
24:57Like, is there a more unstexy pick on the draft board this year right now than R.J.
25:03Harvey? Like, nobody cares. Nobody even like it's just like, yeah, I'll take R.J.
25:07Harvey or there's no buzz about him. There's no talk about him.
25:11Nothing, you know. Oh, Chris Froese. You think Spateri would have got some information from the Bronco beat reporter last night.
25:19Well, I think the winner. Spateri, you had the beat reporter on last night.
25:23What did you find out? I mean, it seems to me Jonah Coleman, you know, like he probably needs the injury.
25:30But I think he said he's a three down back.
25:34And that's why he's, you know, very appealing to me.
25:37The question I asked that was really important to me with Jonah Coleman.
25:42I said, like, Trevion Henderson in college was a really good pass blocker.
25:46And it didn't translate last year. I said, in practice, has Jonah Coleman been good in that aspect?
25:52And he said he's been tremendous. You know, they love him.
25:56And he looks like a three down back. All right.
25:59Let me ask you guys this. Jonah Coleman or Marshawn Lloyd?
26:03Who are you taking first in a draft? I like both a lot.
26:08I mean, I think Lloyd has more upside if he ever, you know, can play.
26:13If he plays, I, you know. But, you know, those are two guys that, you know, I would like to get.
26:20Your answer is both, Matt? Just give me both.
26:23I mean, it's both. But, you know, it's. Push them up around so you can get both.
26:29Yeah. There you go. Exactly. There you go. All right.
26:32My question. I know I cut out a little bit, Matt, was last night.
26:37I only got to watch a little bit of the live stream.
26:41What did you guys talk to the Bronco beat reporter about, R.J.
26:45Harvey, who I said was like the most untalked about, unsexiest pick right now going?
26:50Well, he's basically going to have the role that, you know, that we've been hearing about coming out.
26:56That he's going to, you know, he's going to get the passes.
27:01I mean, I'm curious to see if they go with Dobbins at the goal line.
27:06Because that was one of my things last year.
27:09They were throwing a lot of passes. You know, it was either to Harvey or the backup tight end would get the touchdown.
27:17So, I'm curious to see, you know, with the Davis web, if he made it sound like the goal line carries are going to Dobbins and Coleman.
27:26Coleman could get some too. Okay. There you go.
27:29All right. Nelson, what about Zach Charbonnet? Is he throwing a monkey wrench into Jadarian Price for you?
27:35Or is he just a non-issue right now? You know, we got some news out of Seattle there.
27:41You know, the coaches are talking about, well, it's going to be, you know, kind of a committee.
27:47You know, they're talking Helani. They're talking Wilson until Charbonnet comes back.
27:51What are you doing with that whole backfield, Nelson?
27:54They're all fades for me, pretty much. Like Charbonnet, I think he suffered that injury too late.
28:00It was in the playoffs. They're talking about that he's going to come back earlier than expected.
28:06I just, I wasn't, I was a fan of his last year and I didn't think he looked all that great last year.
28:14And now he's coming off ACL. So I'm not really all that interested in him.
28:19I think it's going to be like this committee backfield.
28:22It's just going to be a shit show. Like price, I think is actually, no pun intended, but I think his price is too expensive.
28:31So yeah, just not a backfield I'm all that excited about.
28:35The only guy that I'm interested in is actually Olani.
28:38And that's because of a free look on Wednesday.
28:41And if I can, if he looks good and he can get a few points that I could stick in my lineup, then mission accomplished.
28:50And when Charbonnet comes back, cut him, move on.
28:53But yeah, I just think that the backfield in general is going to be kind of, price is going to be unstartable, I think, once Charbonnet's back.
29:02Yeah, I think that makes sense. Chris, any concerns on Tucker Craft?
29:06Concerns? No, the opposite. You know, I like the way he looks.
29:10I think I mentioned this on last week's show.
29:13He's the type of player that I would fade this year.
29:17But the more I see it and see these videos of him moving well, I might have to really consider doing away with that thought process this year.
29:27I like the offense. I love the fact that Green Bay's defense is looking like shit this year.
29:33I think there could be some, you know, nice high-scoring games.
29:36The one negative is, like, that's the type of offense that I try to stay away from a little bit, even though I like the individual pieces.
29:46I like Watson. I like Golden. When you have a tight end that could, on any given week, be the fourth option, I tend to look elsewhere.
29:55So, and then coming off of a major injury, but he does look good.
30:00And I think he's one of the few handful of names that, where he's going off the board, somebody could get real steals this year.
30:08If he picks up where he left off last year, and he could be that tight end two or three and produce,
30:16like, a fourth-round tight end, you know, we could all have an egg on our face for letting him slide to where he is now.
30:24And the owner that gets him in each of these drafts in that eighth and ninth round, you know, it looks pretty damn nice right now.
30:33Can I ask a question? With the ACL injuries and everybody seemingly looking good a lot sooner than expected, are you getting
30:41a little more bullish than you were, like, in the past?
30:44Yeah. That's what I'm saying, Matt. You know, I might have to stop doing that.
30:49Like, I've been doing that for, like, 10, 15 years, you know.
30:54Like, if you had a major injury the year before, I give you a year.
30:59It's like you've got a redshirt year the following year.
31:02I'm not drafting you. And it's worked out more than it hasn't for me.
31:07But these players, the medicine, the technology, everything. Peptides.
31:10Unless it's, yeah, unless it's like a Charbonnet, like Nelson said, where it's at the end of the season and a quick turnaround.
31:18I mean, how could we ignore it? Kittle and Kraft are flying all around in these, you know, in these videos.
31:25Especially Kraft, who got hurt earlier and is younger.
31:28I mean, there's a chance that, you know, he should be priced as the Loveland and Warren range when the season starts.
31:35And we're all like, oh, my God, we let this guy in.
31:40Could be, come September. You know, go to the sixth round.
31:43Yeah. Yeah. All right. Last one. We already kind of talked about George Kittle.
31:48But let's talk Kenyon Sadiq. He's got a setback following his hernia surgery.
31:53He's going to miss a couple weeks yet. You know, to me, that just kind of makes him undraftable at this point.
32:00If somebody else wants to draft him and, you know, find out that he's behind on everything with the offense.
32:07He was a player that, you know, had trouble earning targets in college, despite his athleticism.
32:12He's one of those players. I'll let somebody else draft him and then drop him.
32:17And if he gets interesting during the season, then maybe I'd pick him up.
32:22But other than that, not really interested. What do you guys think?
32:26I think you said it best. I think he's a guy that somebody drafts him, drops him, and maybe at some point
32:34you pick him up and you ride the hot hand.
32:37He gets, you know. But I haven't, I don't think I have any Sadiq.
32:42Yeah, I was taking it. Yeah, Nelson, sorry. No, I was going to say chalk it up to rookie missing a bunch of training camp.
32:50It's just not ideal. So he's not a guy that I'm really looking to draft.
32:56Yeah, another one, just like a Malachi Lemon. And, you know, these guys are missing, you know, camp as rookies.
33:02It usually translates into a disaster of a redshirt rookie season, especially at the tight end position where you've got to learn a lot.
33:11But, you know, he's a top 15 overall pick.
33:14I was taking him late in drafts about a month ago.
33:17You know, that 17, 18, 19th round with the hope that you could pair him with an early veteran.
33:24And then maybe he's the star like a Colston Loveland came on last year late in the season.
33:30Maybe that was the thought process that a Kenyan Sadiq could come on week eight and later this year as a high
33:38first-round pick, an athletic tight end that, you know, you could see the Jets trailing in a lot of games.
33:44And before you know it, maybe he's the second option in the passing game to Garrett Wilson for the second half of the season.
33:53But an abducted in, you mean, it's an issue.
33:56I had to throw that in, Chris. I said it was always Adonai Mitchell.
34:00I had to throw that in. It was always, yeah.
34:04Yeah. There you go. Matt ain't quitting that guy.
34:07Nope, no. Once Matt latches on to a player, you're not getting out of his hands.
34:12It's Josh Downs, eighth season now. You know, Trey Henderson for life.
34:16So it is written, so it shall be done.
34:20That's it. Atomic Mitchell. Yep. ATM. There you go.
34:23Okay. I think we've covered the injuries pretty well.
34:26Let's move on to some players that are surprising us in training camp.
34:30You know, every year we always see one or two players or three or four or five or six that, you know, really surprise us.
34:39And we're like, you know, kind of, hey, where did this guy come from?
34:43What's going on with him? It seems like he might be able to earn a real role.
34:49What are you guys seeing? Who's a surprise player for you, Chris?
34:53A surprise player. I don't want to say surprise, maybe.
34:57Maybe I'm going to answer this question wrong, Dan.
35:00But for right now, because I liked him coming into draft season as a rookie, but Denzel Boston in Cleveland, I was
35:07drafting him in all my early drafts. Now people are starting to jump the shark a little bit on him.
35:14But, you know, you hear, you see all the clips, you hear all the, you know, all the buzz about him.
35:21And now offensive corner saying, all right, he's going to start playing with the ones.
35:26He should have already started playing with the ones.
35:29The one thing about him and watching him in college is I like to go and watch Steve Smith do his breakdown
35:37of his rookie wide receivers every year in the summertime or in, you know, after the draft and around draft time.
35:44And his comp for Denzel Boston was Drake London.
35:47And Steve Smith is someone that I trust when you're breaking down rookie wide receivers.
35:52So it's always nice to see, you know, him being stepped.
35:56He loves Denzel Boston. He had him as a top three wide receiver.
36:00Should have been an easy first round pick, an early first round pick, he thought.
36:06So, you know, that's somebody that's surprising me that he's gone that far down the draft board, I guess, Dan.
36:12And I expect him to rise. So he's somebody that isn't surprising you that he's rising, but you feel like he's definitely
36:20surprising a lot of other people because otherwise, why would you have been that far down the draft board to start with?
36:27Chris. There you go. You'll enjoy this. I had a fight with Spatari to draft Denzel Boston.
36:33You started drafting him, you sure? He was okay with it.
36:37What do you want, Ted Foreman Sons or Pat Bryant or the Denver Mascot?
36:42I got to give Spatari credit. He was on Pat Bryant long ago.
36:46He was drafting him late. He's like, that's my guy.
36:50Matt, every Bronco is his guy. If a Bronco does well, he has a lot of tears of him.
36:56Give him a minute spot. Matt, in fairness, that's like me saying Kayshaun Booty is my guy.
37:02Yeah. Exactly. You guys, you won't even give him a second.
37:06No, fuck that. No, fuck that. He's not on the show to defend himself.
37:10We can say whatever we want. Nelson, who you got?
37:14Who kind of has surprised you so far this preseason?
37:17Deshaun Stribling is kind of like the surprise guy.
37:20And he's probably my one 49er that I want to target just because he's the young guy.
37:26He's back at practice. He had a little injury, got nicked up, but he's back.
37:31And I think all those other guys are older, always get banged up.
37:36And I could see him carving out a pretty good role during the regular season.
37:41So I'm interested in him. All right. Fair enough.
37:44I'll throw out Jacoby Lane. I think I really was kind of more of an Elijah Surratt guy going into the preseason.
37:51I felt like Surratt was probably the better player, even though he was drafted later.
37:56We've seen the Ravens do this before with Hurst and Mark Andrews at tight end, where they just take a couple stabs at it.
38:05And, you know, it turned out that Andrews was the better player, even though he was drafted later.
38:11So I thought it might be Surratt. But it sounds like Jacoby Lane has just the stickiest mitts around.
38:17You know, you get a pass anywhere near him, and it's like he's got magnets in there, and the ball just gets right to his hands and sticks.
38:27So, you know, everybody in the Ravens training camp seems to be raving about him.
38:32You know, and we know that Bateman has struggled to even be an answer sometimes, let alone all the time.
38:39I think it's wide open for Jacoby Lane. I think he's an interesting guy to take late in drafts.
38:45Did you see the beat writer in my 27 years covering this team?
38:50I've never seen a player have this camp. There you go.
38:53Yeah, the hype is such drama, Kings. These beat reporters are really turning into drama.
38:59They need so much attention. They're like girls. They need attention so bad.
39:03Whatever headline can get national attention. 100%. I really believe that.
39:07Listen, like everybody else, the beat reporters are evolving, and they're figuring out in order for them to get, you know, likes
39:14and followers, you know, they got to embellish things a little bit.
39:18Yeah. They become hype machines. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The one thing is keeping me grounded as we are talking about the Ravens' second wide receiver at best.
39:28So, you know. But also, Declan Doyle's in town.
39:31I'm surprised people aren't more excited about that. The new OC coming in.
39:35That's what shocks me. I'm up. Yeah. So, for me, it's my boy Blue.
39:40Jaden Blue. Oh, he was on my list, Matt, too.
39:43I was pissed when you took him in the slow prime, Chris.
39:47I was cursing you. The previous one we did.
39:50Oh. You know, last year, I really wasn't on him.
39:54I started taking a couple of shares at the end of draft season.
39:58But this year, it seems like, you know, from everything I've heard from the coach, he's got his head on.
40:05Last year, he showed up with Louis Vuitton cleats or some crap, you know.
40:10And he seems to want to earn this. They want him to have this role.
40:15I think he's, you know, he gives them a dynamic they desperately need.
40:19The one thing about Javante Williams, maybe early on he was catching passes, but that kind of, like, disappeared as the season went on.
40:28And Blue can excel in that. Blue, you know, I'm, you know, seeing the clips the last couple of days is reaffirming my love.
40:36Again, it's camp. You know, I understand that. But you've got to take shots.
40:41And I got my bags packed with him. And I'm hoping that this is a nice payoff here.
40:47Yeah. You can't ignore those long runs and the catches, everything.
40:50Like, you know, it's, the proof is in the pudding right there.
40:55Every day, there's big clips coming out from Dallas camp.
40:58And nobody had bigger bags packed with him than me last year.
41:02So, that guy was me. Yeah. So, I guess I'm ready to be heard again.
41:07I'm right back in there. Anybody else? Full circle?
41:10I got two that I could just throw out.
41:13Did we go fully around? Yeah, we went all the way around.
41:17So, yeah. Let me just throw out two other names.
41:21Yeah, two names that I have on this list for this topic.
41:25And I'll just go over them real quick. Tank Bigsby out of Philadelphia camp is really starting to get my attention.
41:32They're really talking him up nicely. I don't know if he just fits the system really well.
41:38If they're trying to take the load off of Barkley a lot this year and try to not make it like a 90-10 backfield.
41:46Maybe they want to go with like a Rams situation, with a 65-35, 60-40 situation.
41:51And Bigsby is one of these guys that maybe should be moving up a couple rounds where you could slip him in as an RB2.
42:00Maybe he's the next Blake Corum here in fantasy football from last year, you know.
42:05They paid a high price for him, Howie Rossman.
42:08He paid a big price for him, giving two draft picks.
42:12Good offensive line, you know. It's somebody that they're talking up nicely.
42:16And you could see a, you know, a road for Tank Bigsby to pay off this year.
42:21The other one is in Nelson's neck of the woods there with his Patriots.
42:26Romeo Dobbs is getting a lot of buzz. And I know everybody's in love with A.J.
42:32Brown, but maybe Romeo Dobbs is going to play a really solid wide receiver two role in this offense.
42:38It seems to be catching everything and have a really good rapport with Drake May early in camp.
42:44So a couple guys that have opened my eyes a little bit in the last month.
42:50Power slot. Romeo Dobbs. I've never been a big fan of him, but I think, you know, he could be fantasy relevant.
42:57Not, you know, nothing crazy, but I could see him being a, you know, a solid guy that you can plug in
43:05in your flex or wide receiver three. Nelson, you know what he's going to be this year?
43:11He's going to be that annoying wide receiver in a really good offense that is either one week six for 60 and 12 points.
43:19And you're like, eh, he's a good NFL player getting the job done for the team, but nothing dramatic.
43:25But when he's six for 60 and a touchdown and people have him in the lineup, you're going to be like, Jesus Christ.
43:33I just got burned for 18, 20 points by Romeo Dobbs this week.
43:38You know, that's the type of, you know, like a Keenan Allen type in the last couple of years, something like that.
43:45That's the way I envisioned Dobbs. He could easily throw in the fourth for 38 week where you're like, I'm never starting this guy again.
43:54And then, yeah. Anyone else? I'll throw out Ted Hurst.
43:57I think Hurst is kind of surprising. He's, you know, Jalen McMillan was out for a while.
44:03Hurst was taking advantage of that opportunity. You know, he looks like a really true ex-receiver.
44:08I mean, I like Jalen McMillan, too. I think he's looked good every time he's been out on the field in actual games that matter.
44:17You know, so I don't know exactly how much Hurst I'm going to end up with, but he's a player that's opened my eyes.
44:25I think they're, the future is looking all right in Tampa at wide receiver.
44:30Yeah. Did you like the report of if you squint good enough, you could see Mike Evans?
44:36I was like, if you squint, you could close your eyes completely.
44:40Maybe. Maybe. Yeah. I don't think I could squint that hard.
44:43The Bucs beat reporter. That was his blurb of the day.
44:47I missed that one. I missed that one. I got it.
44:51My other guy that I think has been a surprise hype guy is Cyrus Allen.
44:56Yes. With Kansas City. And I still don't, honestly, I can say like, I want to be able to take a few shares of him.
45:05But I honestly don't know what to expect out of that situation.
45:09But when I look at it and say, okay, Worthy, already dealing with a shoulder injury.
45:14Rice, the one video I saw of him, you know, he didn't look all that great.
45:20He's coming back from an injury. Could you guys think that Allen could somehow carve out some type of role in this offense?
45:27I mean, for me, this is the only hesitation I have.
45:31I think he could. But the last two seasons, Justin Ross, who was the guy they had last year?
45:38The Rashi Rice-Clint, Jalen Royals. Royals. They were in camp.
45:41They were with the ones. Mahomes trusted them. Then the season came.
45:45And even with Rice missing games last year, it never amounted.
45:49But at his price right now, yeah, I'll take Allen.
45:52Yeah. I mean, Rashi Rice is not the most, you know, solid player in the game as far as, you know, he's
46:00fairly injury prone or at least has been so far.
46:03Xavier Worthy, we know what that's about too. You know, so Cyrus Allen is a speculative pick.
46:09You know, somebody to just have on your roster for the first week of the season and, you know, make sure that,
46:16you know, Worthy can take a shot from Kelsey and get up.
46:21Might be worth it. Okay. You got anybody else, Nelson, or do you want me to go?
46:26No, go ahead. I'm going to go with Terrence Ferguson, you know.
46:30Wait, what? No way. Oh, come on. You know, I just think it's – I've been saying he's the Alec Pierce of tight ends.
46:39You know, we did a whole show dedicated to him a month ago.
46:43And, you know, now he went from what? Like the 18th round maybe you got him.
46:49I think last night he went in the 11th round in ROC.
46:53Whoa. So, you know, I've seen him go consistently in the 13th and the primes.
46:58He was going in the 14th, you know, a week or two back.
47:02And it's, you know, the possibility – the fact that they didn't take like a lemon in the draft, their wide receiver depth is really nonexistent.
47:11I know they have a bunch of tight ends, but I think he plays a different role than say like, you know, the inline guys and stuff.
47:20So, he's going to be someone that – look, he may be a zero or he may be a hero, but I think he's worth the shot.
47:29Matt, what's your percentage ownership of Ferguson right now?
47:33I think I have probably like 25 shares. 25 shares.
47:36Yeah. But like 50%. I don't know how many drafts.
47:39It's probably – You've got to be over 50%, right?
47:43Yeah. It's – I'm probably around the low 50s between primes and, you know, 350s and stuff.
47:49That's all I calculate. I don't do like best balls or, you know, draft champion and stuff like that.
47:55I agree with Matt actually because I look at – he is getting a little bit more pricey lately, but I look
48:03at Ferguson in that offense when I look and say, okay, you got Puka.
48:07Adams is 33 years old. I expect – you know, he had a lot of touchdowns last year.
48:13How many do you have? 13? 13. Something like that.
48:17So, I expect regression there. And then they never really had anyone else like a true like number three behind those guys.
48:24It was kind of like a hodgepodge. What if like Ferguson now in his second year, you know, develops into like that
48:32third option in that offense, more of like a move tight end, line them up in the slot, take advantage of like,
48:39you know, smaller, you know, corners, linebackers, whatever it is.
48:43So, I'm with Matt that I want to see it.
48:46I want to go into that Thursday night game versus the 49ers, get a free look, see what happens.
48:53And maybe we're getting more than just a free look.
48:56Like there could be something there. So, I'm with Matt.
49:00I'm high on Ferguson. I will have a hundo on him catching two touchdowns.
49:04You got to take a shot. All right. I have no doubt.
49:08Get the ladder out. Yeah, get the ladder out.
49:11Get the ladder. Real quick, just to follow up on that.
49:15Yeah, it's a good pick on the board regardless.
49:18But, Nelson, the one thing to add to what you just said is you're looking at two wide receivers that get banged up all the time.
49:27And Adams is coming off injury last year. Puka banged up all the time.
49:32Puka's in the locker room every game, back and forth.
49:35What if one of these guys misses significant time?
49:38What kind of role does Ferguson move into? You could see him on rankings list on a weekly basis as a top
49:46six guy if Adams or Puka is out for a little bit of time.
49:51So, those are the shots at the price that he's at on the draft board that you got to take, in my opinion, all the time.
50:00So, I think he's cheap right now because it's a crowded tight end room, right?
50:05You got Parkinson. You got Higby. They drafted the clear kid this year.
50:09So, there's a lot of question marks with it.
50:12But that's why I think he's going cheaper than other tight ends.
50:16If, like, McVay really came out and said – I know he's spoken positively about Ferguson.
50:22But if he just came out and said, hey, Ferguson is our number three wide receiver slash move tight end, he would be going a lot higher.
50:31I think he would be going, like, where Isaiah likely goes.
50:35Yeah, and the last thing is – I forget how it worked out last year in the 2025 draft.
50:41But I think they traded back, and they wanted to take him in the first round.
50:47So, they got him in the second. And I think this is a player that – a future foundation for them.
50:54So, we'll see. Here's the thing. Especially in the NFFC, there's really no penalty for being wrong on your second tight end.
51:01I mean, you know, it's like, oh, okay, I was wrong on the second tight end.
51:07You know, there's still 12 guys out there. You know, just throw them back into the pool and try again after week one.
51:15So, you know, this is one of those bets you want to make because, you know, if it does hit, it could
51:22hit in a really, really big way. But there's almost no cost to being wrong.
51:27Yeah. And can I give a live update on some injury news?
51:31Zay Flowers, Golden Reed, all back to practice today.
51:34Nice. There you go. Boom. There we go. Glad we solved that for everyone.
51:39Like I said, I mean, can I say one thing?
51:43I think when people say there really aren't edges anymore, I think training camp, there's so many edges there between these hype machine beat writers.
51:51I want to hear the coach. I want to hear the quarterbacks and stuff like that I want to focus on.
51:58All right. So, wait. By the way, can we jump on this topic?
52:03Because it's not on the show sheet, but it was major news yesterday or the day before.
52:09I think yesterday, actually. Speaking of coaches and sports, what do we all think of the McDaniels coming out with the Amari and Hampton, Keaton Mitchell, Vidal?
52:18Oh, I got three backs. I'm going to use them all.
52:21Where do you all feel? Where do you all land on that?
52:26A bunch of bullshit or what? Because I have my take, but I want to hear from you guys.
52:32You want me to go first? You go first, Nelson.
52:35All right. So, where I have Hampton ranked in those group of running backs that go at the 1-2 turn, I'm probably
52:43on the lower side than most people with Hampton.
52:46You're not taking him at third overall? I'm not taking him third overall, no.
52:51I am. Yeah. I want to have some shares of him, but I look at it as like...
52:57You have a small fade on him. You have a small fade, not a huge fade.
53:02Yeah. But a small fade. But I'm not victory lapping saying that, oh, this is further confirmation that, you know, why, you know, I'm justifying fading Hampton.
53:12And I do think Mitchell's going to be involved, but I think it was blown a little bit out of proportion with,
53:19you know, the three backs getting involved, this and that.
53:23Listen, you got to look at it from a coach's perspective.
53:26That coach is trying to motivate all those freaking guys in that locker room, okay?
53:31The last thing he's going to do is talk shit about, you know, or downplay, you know, the third, you know, Vidal's role with the team.
53:40You know, he's going to try to make everyone feel important.
53:44And I believe that that's what he was doing.
53:47So I don't believe that. I think it's going to be Hampton with the majority of the touches and he'll be fine.
53:55But I do think that, like, Mitchell is definitely going to be involved in that offense.
54:00I just want to follow up real quick on Nelson because that's my outlook.
54:05I mean, I laugh when coaches say things like this, like the Jets coaching stat, we're going to use all three backs.
54:12Like, the opposite of that is we're actually just going to use Hall until he falls into the ground and can't breathe anymore.
54:20And then we're going to bring these other two guys in because I really don't want to use them.
54:27And I really just want to use our bell cow.
54:30Like, what is he going to say? I'm not going to use my other running backs.
54:36So, of course, every coach is going to be like, we're going to use all of them.
54:41The hot hand approach. Here's the bottom line, though.
54:44Here's the bottom line. Because of who said it, because of what he said and how he said it, the price of
54:52the brick is going up on Mitchell and Vidal.
54:55I mean, that's, you know, that's just the way it is.
54:59And, you know, because fantasy drafters are going to take that hyperbole and they're going to run with it.
55:05And so we just got to be ready for, you know, those two players to jump up and we got to decide,
55:13you know, at what point are we out on those guys?
55:16I mean, for me. For as expensive as he's going to get.
55:21And I actually want to take this as a buying opportunity on Hampton if he somehow starts falling in drafts.
55:27I mean, I tweeted out this morning. I quote tweeted it.
55:31And my take is basically I want Hampton. I don't see how he doesn't.
55:36Just his touchdown upside alone. If this offensive line stays healthy, Hampton is going to score a ton of touchdowns.
55:43I'm in on Keaton Mitchell, too. I have like 20 shares of him.
55:47I think Keaton Mitchell has a separate role. They are building, like Nelson said, he's going to play.
55:53He's going to have a separate role. We saw this a couple of years back under a Mike McDonald, McDonald, excuse me,
56:01led offense where Mostert and Achan, you know, both ate.
56:04And just the touchdowns. If everybody is loving this offense, I think Vidal has become a very exciting, high contingent backup.
56:11I think if Hampton goes down, that's where Vidal will have his fun in the sun.
56:17Yeah. I see it the same way, Matt. You could still draft Keaton Mitchell and he's going to play a nice role.
56:24Third downs here and there. But if Hampton got hurt and missed time, Vidal becomes more, you know, important than Keaton Mitchell.
56:32There you go. All right. Let's since we put it on the show thumbnail, we should talk about draft board risers.
56:39This is players that we see getting ready to rise up draft boards or starting already to rise up draft boards.
56:46You know, as we start heading into, you know, late August, early September, live drafts in Vegas, live drafts at Chris's restaurant.
56:54The week before that, we got a, we got live draft season coming up.
56:58Who are going to be the players you think that are going to be moving up those draft boards at that time?
57:06Nelson, lead us off. As far as risers? Yeah.
57:09Is that a cold brew? Nelson, is that a cold brew?
57:13Hold up. It's a refresher. We're going with a refresher.
57:16All right. That's good. Yeah. As far as risers, let me see.
57:20I'm going to say that Jalen Waddle, Zay Flowers, Abuka, Neighbors.
57:24I think all those guys are going to jump.
57:27Where are they going, Nelson? How can Abuka jump up anymore?
57:31He's one receiver nine. I don't, I don't know if someone wants to beat me to the punch.
57:37You're going to have to get him at the one-two turn.
57:41I'm going to take Abuka mid-second round in drafts.
57:44So, you know, people are going to, you know, if they want to have Abuka, if I'm in a draft, I'm, you
57:51know, unless I'm in the one hole or I'm in the 12 hole, you're not getting Abuka.
57:57So, I think Neighbors is going to climb. I think he, by the time Vegas rolls around, I think he's going to be at the one-two turn.
58:06Because what I think we're going to see is, we're going to see a lot of Jonathan Taylor, Hampton, Chase Brown, Gentty.
58:14We're going to see those guys in the second round because I think people are going to push up the wide receivers.
58:21Because what people are going to realize is the inventory starts running dry and they want to get that, like, clear number one receiver.
58:30And then they'll figure out running back later in the draft.
58:33Nelson, say Neighbors is cleared. He's starting game one.
58:36It's all positive reports for the rest of the month.
58:40Does he pass Jefferson if this quarterback situation doesn't become more clearer or like a lamb?
58:45Not CD, but because I think CD is clearly should be the receiver over Jefferson.
58:50But I could see Neighbors ahead of Jefferson. Because, listen, I'm just not a fan of Kyla Murray.
58:56I'm not a fan of what I saw with McCarthy.
59:00And, you know, shit could be ugly again in Minnesota.
59:03If Kyla Murray hasn't separated himself as a veteran quarterback and that report is actually true and O'Connell really doesn't know what
59:11he's going to do, I think there's going to be problems.
59:15And we already saw what that looked like with Jefferson.
59:18Jefferson was basically unstartable. So when I look at it, CD's got Dak as a starting quarterback.
59:24That's night and day for me compared to Jefferson's situation.
59:27A.J. Brown, he's got Drake May. You've got Neighbors with Dart, which, you know, I think Dart was like he showed he's
59:35a capable, you know, quarterback in limited action. So that matters to me when I'm looking at those wide receivers.
59:41Who's their quarterback? And I think Jefferson, out of those like number ones and those top guys, he's got the most question marks out of all those receivers.
59:51Agreed. I'm going to be opposite. I'm going to be opposite you guys with Neighbors.
59:56Yeah, I want my shares, but I'll never move him up into that first round, that turn coming off this injury and maybe a slow start and everything.
60:06I need my lambs. I know you guys have trepidation with Justin Jefferson.
60:10I don't. Justin Jefferson and Jamar Chase are the two best wide receivers in football.
60:15Murray will get him the ball. They'll get him the ball somehow.
60:19I know last year was a disaster, but as long as they don't name J.J.
60:24McCarthy the starter, then I'm staying in on Justin Jefferson.
60:28I'm going to have those other guys. I'm going to still take Drake London over Neighbors.
60:33And I just if that's going to be the price in September on Neighbors, then you guys are going to wind up
60:41getting him and I won't have any shares. There you go.
60:45All right. I want to address this one. Do I think KOC's job is on the line with his struggle this year,
60:52mostly as part of the quarterback situation? I mean, I don't know that it probably is, to answer the question, as short as possible.
61:00But I don't think it should be because, you know what, Kyler Murray, I don't think, is a reasonable option to put
61:08in there and say, well, you've got to take this guy and you've got to go out and win your division and
61:15go far in the playoffs and all that. Nobody's done that with Kyler Murray yet, so I don't think it's realistic to expect.
61:23They need to get the guy at quarterback. I think KOC is a good coach.
61:28I hope the Vikings don't lose him because I'm a Vikings fan.
61:32But I just I don't see that, you know, if the quarterback situation goes south, I don't know that it's KOC's fault at this point.
61:41All right. Who else? Who else is going up draft boards?
61:45Anyone else? Well, is it going up draft boards now, Dan, or in September?
61:49September. As we move closer, yeah, between now and September.
61:53I mean, that was kind of the way that Nelson phrased it in the chat was, you know, who do we see moving up the draft boards?
62:02I think there's a guy that's doing it right now.
62:05I mean, maybe I'm partly to blame, but I've seen others doing it this week.
62:11I know who you're going to say. I don't see why.
62:14Like in that fourth round, after Watson, if you want to say, like after Watson, is there other receivers you really want more than him?
62:23I don't know. I'm not taking DJ Moral. For me, there is.
62:27Yeah. You know, it is. It is interesting. Nelson, you're on the opposite side of Parker Washington.
62:33Matt, you're all in on Parker Washington. I guess I fall somewhere in the middle on that.
62:39But Matt, I can't argue your point. I mean, after that, after that third, fourth round turn, when you're going straight to
62:46the end of the fourth round, I find myself clicking on Parker Washington, too.
62:51You know, there's no reason. All those other receivers are guys like Mike Evans and, you know, DJ Moore, guys that a
62:58lot of people aren't in love with this year.
63:01And why not bet on a good offense and a good player that's dominating camp like Parker Washington?
63:07So I got no issue with that. I don't know.
63:11I'm probably in on McLaurin before Washington. Oh, no.
63:14I am, too. He usually goes. He usually goes early.
63:17Before that. Matt's just talking about a wide receiver that's going to move up.
63:22And like, you know, yeah, Parker Washington was a fifth round guy.
63:26Then he became an end of the end of the fourth round.
63:30And now he's like creeping into the middle of the fourth and a lot of these drafts.
63:36He was a six year old guy, too, at one point.
63:40You know, yeah. My guy, you know, I thought Matt was going to say this guy's name.
63:46We talked about him earlier. Jordan Tyson is on the rise and that train isn't going to stop until the fifth round, I believe.
63:54I think he's the next guy up. You know, this guy would have been a top five overall pick if without injuries.
64:01He could be the next superstar wide receiver in football and especially in fantasy.
64:06So I think that you'll start seeing him on the rise with all these training camp blurbs.
64:12I wonder what that does to a Lave's price is the, you know, the trade off of that.
64:18Or and even, you know, at what point do we start moving Tyler Shuck up the board as maybe a potential guy
64:26that could be a top 12 fantasy quarterback? If this kid Tyson is as advertised and destroying camp.
64:32Now you got a Lave and Tyson at this kid's disposal and he can run.
64:37So why are we still letting Tyler Shuck fall into 15, 16, 17 rounds of fantasy drafts?
64:43You know, it's one of those things that aren't equaling up, you know, I like both dark and shock as my as
64:50my QB to I think, you know, you get that.
64:54Well, people people were worried about and not taking dart anymore because, you know, neighbors.
64:59Was he going to be there for the first six weeks?
65:02What's this kid going to be throwing to? Yeah.
65:06But what about last year? No dart was. He didn't play with neighbors.
65:10He basically got hurt. Yeah. Fair point. Fair point.
65:13Fair point. You know. All right. Well, yeah, dart.
65:16I think with dart, the concussions were part of the concern and the neighbors was part of the concern.
65:23The neighbors part seems to be kind of alleviated.
65:26So I feel better about my dart tears at this point.
65:29He did have Wandel though. Let's throw that out there.
65:33Bags are fully packed with Tyson though. My biggest concern with you.
65:37You've been a Tyson guy from last month. I remember.
65:40But my biggest concern with dart, I'll say this, is that Matt Nagy's the offensive coordinator.
65:46That's where, you know, I'll have some trepidation. But I think he can overcome.
65:51Does it matter what play is called though once dart breaks the huddle?
65:55Well, that's true. But I'm just saying, I'm trying to find, you know, I'm trying to be fair and balanced.
66:02Fair enough. A couple of guys I think have moved up a little bit and might end up moving up even more.
66:09How about Claiborne in Minnesota? He's a guy that everybody seems to be getting on to.
66:15And then Trey Harrison for the Chargers. Another one that, you know, and we saw Mike McDaniel talking up Harris.
66:22Harris is basically, you know, he's looking at it as it's, you know, three good receivers instead of just two.
66:28And putting Harris in that group. So, what do you guys think about those?
66:33That was? Trey Harris, I think, is the, he's the sleeper guy that nobody's, not that nobody's.
66:39Is he going to rise? I guess that's the question.
66:42Do you see him as a riser? I don't know if I see him so much as a riser, but I see
66:50him somebody that beats his draft price by a lot.
66:53Like, that's what, that's why I'm not on the QJ train.
66:57I take some QJ. I know the syndicate is on QJ, but I'm a Trey Harris truther.
67:03And I think he ends up being the Chargers wide receiver too this year.
67:08And I'll talk about Claiborne. There's been like mixed reviews on Claiborne early in camp.
67:13And then as he's coming along now, he's breaking some long runs.
67:17So, people are in on, it's a good shot to take because the depth chart above him, you know, the Vikings didn't even want Aaron Jones back.
67:26You know, he had to take a pay cut to come back.
67:30So, he had one foot out the door. But I'll talk on this because it was actually my next answer, Dan.
67:37Am I freezing up? I don't know. Yeah, you did for the show.
67:42You're good, man. Okay. Anyway, just capitalizing on, following up on Claiborne.
67:46My answer was going to be Jordan Mason for someone that in September we could see he rise two rounds because I
67:53still think that everyone's going into these drafts and looking at us.
67:57Who's the starter? Is it Aaron Jones? Is it Mason?
68:01Is it 50-50? Whatever. What if the Vikings in the next coming weeks just come out and are like, listen, we're riding Mason.
68:09Mason's our guy. Then what's going to prevent Jordan Mason from moving up into like the 70s range, you know, instead of
68:16pick 100 and, you know, 100 plus right now?
68:19I still think there's like, you know, room for him to grow on the draft board here.
68:25So, Mason's one of those guys that I see room for him to jump up draft boards big time.
68:32And one other quick name I'm going to throw out just because I've liked him since he got drafted.
68:38And it kind of looked like he was the forgotten name now a couple months ago.
68:43But now he's looking like he's the number one, even in a shitty situation.
68:48But Malik Washington, I think, should start moving up boards about two, three rounds.
68:53You know, someone's got to catch the ball in Miami.
68:56It just can't be A-Chan running the ball and Malik Willis running the ball.
69:01There's got to be some completions here in this offense.
69:05And it looks like right now the chemistry between him and Malik Washington are great.
69:10Would it be shocked to see Malik Washington as a 13th, 14th, 15th rounder catching five, six balls every week on a
69:17team that's going to be losing all the time?
69:20It just doesn't add up. And Malik Washington, I think, is a sneaky wide receiver on the board.
69:26Love it. All right. I think we've pretty well hit that one, too.
69:31We'll take our quick five seconds of silence here before we get into looking at an NFFC board.
69:37Get ready, Nelson. And we're back. There we go.
69:40Good job, Nelson. All right. And we're going to let Nelson kind of lead off this discussion.
69:46For those of you who are listening to this on a podcast, I mean, you know, if you can check it on
69:53YouTube, we've got the board right up there where it'll be a lot easier to follow this discussion.
70:00But Nelson, you were in this draft. And tell us a little bit about how the draft went.
70:06What surprised you? What things happened that you expected to see?
70:09Just kind of get us started here. Sure. I was out of the 11 hole and I wanted to start a team
70:17with James Cook and then just see what happens on the wraparound.
70:21Team 12 took London and A.J. Brown. So once that happened, I knew that I was going to build this team with
70:29starting two running backs and then see what happens from there.
70:32So if you would have if you would have gave me six guesses out of which team Nelson was in this, I would not have got it correct.
70:42This is not a Nelson team. It's not a Nelson build.
70:46But I but I like what you did for a couple of reasons that it's interesting to talk about your team once we get into it.
70:54Yeah. So that that's why I thought it would be an interesting subject, because this is not typically, you know, what you see out of out of me.
71:04But I want to have a couple of these type of builds because, you know, I think I've said it on on
71:12a few shows on my live stream that I've done is that those running backs on the back end could be difference makers.
71:19And I don't want to just go where I'm taking one and a receiver just because that's my preference as far as
71:27how I construct my roster and my starting lineup.
71:30So I do want to force myself to take two running backs because I do like some of those guys.
71:37Those guys have a lot of upside. So, yeah, it was different.
71:41It forced me to to think a little bit different players that I'd be targeting in certain rounds.
71:47It totally changed. It shifted the positions around. So, yeah, I mean, that's we can start from there.
71:53You know, and and and then, you know, talk about other teams, whatever you guys want to do.
71:59Yeah, like I think you put up a good point here, Nelson, especially picking from the back with London Brown going.
72:06I've done three slow primes. The first one I started out three wide receivers from the five with the next two.
72:14I got eight, nine and I went double running back, which is something I really didn't see myself doing.
72:20But those were the best two players there. And I won't make that mistake again like I did last year.
72:27Not wanting to go to double running back. So it is a different.
72:31I think you've got to be a little more aggressive on receivers.
72:35And, you know, the back end isn't ideal for it.
72:39But it's a small sample size, Chris. But this is what I was talking about as far as like risers, for example,
72:46is, you know, again, it's the first live prime time.
72:50But as we move forward, I think there's going to be guys in the back end where they're going to say, you
72:57know what, like, I don't like they're going to do one team and they're going to be like, all right, I don't like this.
73:05Like the receivers dry up at the four or five turn.
73:09I don't like my team. And you're going to see like the guy in the 12 hole.
73:15He takes London, A.J. Brown. Look at the next two receivers off the board.
73:20Neighbors and Abuka. What I'm saying is those guys are going to shift.
73:24And there's going to the 11 in the 10 hole teams.
73:28They're going to say, screw Taylor, screw Brown. I much rather have the receiver, the yellow sticker.
73:34And you're going to see Neighbors and Abuka move up to that area.
73:38And all those running backs that you saw in the second round are all going to get shifted down.
73:45You're 100 percent right with what you just said.
73:48Neighbors is going to be that guy that moves up because as soon as A.J.
73:53Brown or London come off the board, we've been saying it for weeks now.
73:58There's like that gap. Right. And then it's going to be who moves up quicker to get Abuka, Flowers, Pickens, Nico, Alave.
74:05Right. There's like that little, you know, that little, you know, dry spot.
74:10Right. Where the running backs go and Bowers. So, yes, you're right.
74:14Neighbors is going to be that guy that moves into that 11 to 14, 15 range come the big money draft.
74:21So all the wide receiver whores want to get their hands on receivers.
74:25And Neighbors will be that guy. I was just saying, I'm not going to move.
74:30I'm personally not going to move them up that high.
74:34I'll go running back there. And the reason why I've been talking for weeks now about being on that back end and
74:41liking that 9 through 12 range in the first round is, you know, you're locked into a really good wide receiver in the third round.
74:50When the third round starts, you got all those yellow stickers and it goes straight across.
74:55So you're locked into one and you can start forgetting about the running back position for a while.
75:01When you do what you did in this draft with two monsters and James Cook and Chase Brown, you just ran into
75:09the other problem that we've been talking about for a couple of weeks now is at the end of the fourth and
75:16fifth round, you missed the wide receiver run. The wide receivers dried up.
75:21You had to settle for Carnell Tate as your wide receiver two.
75:25You may like Carnell Tate a lot. I don't know.
75:28That's, you know, I'm sure you don't want him as your two, but that's the price trade off for getting two big running backs right there.
75:37You know, I'll turn it over to you guys.
75:40I got to look into this a little more.
75:43Yeah. So here's my thought process so you guys can kind of go inside my mind of what I was thinking as the draft was going.
75:52So the wide receivers dried up in the fourth round.
75:56I take Tate, not ideal as my number two, but I am high on Tate this year.
76:01And he was the next receiver off the board.
76:05The rest of those guys, like I've said, like Adams, Evans, I'm not into old wide receivers.
76:10Like you're just not going to see those guys on my teams.
76:14So I felt the next position was running back was the value.
76:18And I said to myself, you know what, my wide receiver three, no matter what, I'm not going to feel great about.
76:26Let me lock in the flex. And at least my perceived edge is, you know what, I'm high on Scadabo.
76:33So I look at it as let me lock him into the flex.
76:37So my flex is not weak also, because now I'm at it.
76:41I'm pushing up one of those receivers that I don't really feel great about.
76:46So as my wide receiver three and now my flex coming back around is not going to be, I'm not going to be thrilled with it.
76:55So that's, that was my thought process behind it.
76:58And then once again, it got a lot of people are doing that too, Nelson.
77:03A lot of people are going that fifth round range this year and just saying, F it.
77:09Let me get another, the running backs are name wise, more valuable and better fantasy players.
77:14And can produce more points for me than the wide receiver.
77:18So let me go with a running back in the flex position, which should have started a couple of years ago.
77:25But now people are just starting to come around to it.
77:29But that was the right thought process. And just so you know, the two players that were in my thought process was actually Scadabo and Tyler Warren.
77:38So I looked at it as I need to grab an edge at, at a perceived edge.
77:44Again, it's my opinion. You know, I think Warren can be an edge at tight end.
77:50So I wanted to grab an edge at one of those positions, either flex or tight end.
77:55So it was between those two guys there. I was never just, I was maybe in the next draft, I take a
78:03wide receiver three there, but there was, there was no one like I was in love with at that spot.
78:10So, you know, just so you guys know my thought process.
78:13All right. A hundred percent. And you come back and you do the same exact thing with, after getting the edge at
78:21flex, you get the edge at quarterback with an elite quarterback as well.
78:25And obviously your weakness on this team is the wide receiver position.
78:29I'm surprised that you just didn't hit it a little more as the draft kept going.
78:35Yeah. Again, it was one of those things where I, I ended up taking Pittman instead of, I believe Golden and Reed were there.
78:43And those have been targets of mine. I just took Pittman because I wanted it like a steady guy.
78:50I didn't want to sit there and just keep going for like home run type of picks with my wide receiver three.
78:57So I took a steady Pittman. Higgins was another like upside guy.
79:01Stribbling, another upside guy. Trey Harris, again, another upside guy.
79:05So I felt like I addressed enough at the wide receiver position to try to figure out, you know, one of those
79:12guys to play as my wide receiver three. Yeah.
79:15Okay. Yep. Makes sense. One thing I noticed is definitely the quarterbacks all sort of took a step up.
79:22At least the early quarterbacks took a step up from what we've been seeing in the OCs.
79:27You know, Josh Allen, middle of the third instead of kind of, you know, at that three, four turn or sometimes even later than that.
79:36We've been seeing Jackson and May go in the seventh round a lot, getting pushed up into the sixth.
79:42So I thought the pick of May was a really good one because you didn't try to push him around the corner or anything.
79:51He was, you know, he was, you know, a clear tear break after him.
79:55You grab that guy and, you know, force team 12 to do something different.
80:00Big money, big quarterbacks. Yeah. Yeah. And Matt, exactly.
80:03I mean, come on. What are we doing here?
80:06I know that you got to put your builds together and stuff, but I'm just saying, I'm looking at the names in the sixth round.
80:15Um, you're going to try and tell me that any, and I'm not saying they went over these guys, but like a
80:22Cortland Sutton, a Jadarian Price, a Bucky Irving, Brian Todd, DK Metcalf.
80:26We're going to really take these guys in fantasy over difference makers on a weekly basis of a Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Drake May.
80:35Guys that single handedly can win you weeks with 45 points.
80:38But, you know, what, you know, for a Cortland Sutton, a DK Metcalf, no, I'll take my chances on a receiver in the next couple rounds.
80:47Give me that elite quarterback edge every time. Yep.
80:50Agreed. I mean, to me, the thing that's interesting here is I saw it in the last slow draft I did with Chris and Nelson.
80:59Uh, you just saw how the wide receivers that you were getting in the 10th round are now in eighth or the
81:06seventh, like a, like a Jaden Higgins and stuff.
81:09And, you know, it's just going to get tighter and tighter.
81:13So, you know, you just got to be prepared.
81:16And I think Nelson taking the scatterboo there was definitely the right call.
81:21Like you, he, he, he made the bet. I'm, I'm, I'm going to, I'm going to win the flex.
81:27And, you know, I would have scatterboo up there too.
81:31Yeah. Uh, Nelson, I thought team three was your team.
81:34Uh, when I looked at the board earlier, um, I, I thought off the bat that it could have been your team.
81:42And then there was one other team I thought might've been yours, but going through all these teams and I'm sure we will right now.
81:50Um, you know, I, I thought everybody drafted really well in this draft.
81:54There was no teams that stood out to me that I was like, what the hell's going on here?
82:01Chris, I can't believe you haven't mentioned team one yet.
82:04They, uh, they've got to be a listener to the show because you were talking last week about, you know, you can,
82:12you can use that second tight end and put them in the flex.
82:16And, you know, that looks like what team one is doing there.
82:20Yeah. Yeah. Dan, um, a good point. Cause I noticed that.
82:24And I said, this is probably a team that'll stick out to someone and be like, what, what is this guy doing?
82:32Whatever. But, uh, when you look at it, he didn't go back to back with Warren and craft.
82:38He took Warren where he should have right there at the turn, uh, got the advantage of tight end came all the way back around.
82:46And I'm sure what was in his mind was, uh, am I going to drop down and take some of these receivers
82:54to be my flex and my number four wide receiver?
82:57Or maybe he's just really high on Tucker craft looks at him as an elite top five tight end and said, F it.
83:05He's my flex player. And I'll play craft, uh, with Warren every week.
83:10So, um, and he, and he did it at the turn with Tony Pollard, who could be a solid third running back.
83:17Uh, I liked the way he put this team together.
83:20He got three monster wide receivers and he obviously has Gibbs, uh, hit on quarterback with Dak waited and got Dak with Mahomes.
83:28Isn't it crazy that Mahomes is going to be a backup on fantasy this year on most people's teams?
83:35Um, that's pretty wild to me. Uh, never thought we'd see that day, but I like the way this guy put the team together in team one.
83:44Yeah. Yeah. It's a well-constructed team. How about, uh, how about team two?
83:48What do you guys think about that construction? I like that too.
83:52I mean, you get Bijan, he played it, you know, he played it perfectly.
83:57In my opinion, he hit four. Four, hit four wide.
84:01He took the shot on Henderson, backed it up with, uh, Stevenson.
84:05I like, you know, I like both his quarterbacks.
84:08Tight end likely is, uh, you know, he's primed for a big season, put it that way.
84:14That's the earliest I've seen Godwin go in any draft, right guys?
84:18But in this particular draft, Nelson, you were in it.
84:21Like wide receivers are flying up the board. Uh, you know, when you get in these situations, it doesn't matter that you
84:29say in your head, oh, Godwin's a sixth rounder, end of sixth rounder.
84:33Uh, not anymore. He's not in this draft. Now you make him a fifth rounder and you get him as your four.
84:41Um, so. Well, Chris. It just starts getting really sketchy.
84:44Like if you, if you look at it again, just my opinion, Cortland Sutton, DK Metcalf, Alec Pierce, uh, you know, even
84:51my Michael Pittman pick, like I don't freaking feel good about it.
84:56Like it, it's sketchy, but like those guys don't look at, I don't look at them as like, I'm excited about grabbing
85:03them as like my number three receivers. So that's, that's why I'm saying to you guys, that thought process is in my head.
85:11When we were talking, when Dan asked the question about risers, I'm like all those early receivers.
85:17Like when you said, where are they going to rise to Nelson?
85:21They're already high enough. That's my thinking is that their guys are going to be hungry to get those legit number one receivers of their team.
85:30And my question here is like Chris just said is like, when you're talking about his, he's a sixth rounder, he's a
85:37sixth rounder pretty much in online championship. So for me, if I like the guy, I'm just for the most part going
85:45along with the market, not really jumping dice too much or that often.
85:49Right. But come the prime time, you know, I'm putting up a lot more money.
85:54I'm going to be much more aggressive. You're right, Matt.
85:58That's, you know, right now in online championship season, we're not reaching for anybody.
86:02Even we all know who our guys are in these drafts, but none of us are moving them up around and a
86:10half to grab them because we're going to wait and see.
86:14On a nightly basis who falls in our lap at a value.
86:18But when the big money's on the line, yeah, we're moving these guys up a round or two even to make sure we do it.
86:26The only thing I would have done differently that this guy did in the second hole is I'm taking Tyler Warren there instead of Godwin.
86:35Because I don't think there'll be a huge difference between the receivers that went in the sixth round after that compared to a Godwin.
86:43Right. So I'm taking the advantage of Tyler Warren before the cliff comes, getting the advantage of a Bijan as a top
86:51two running back, three monster receivers, an elite top four tight end.
86:55And then I'll take my fourth wide receiver. If, in fact, that's what his goal was, was to make sure he had four receivers at that point.
87:04I'll wait two more picks and I'll take Tyson Sutton, Brian Thomas, DK Metcalf as my four.
87:10But I'm going to make sure I get Warren for the edge.
87:14Would you have taken, say, Tyson instead of Godwin as your four for the upside play?
87:19No, not necessarily. You know, that's just a player preference between the two.
87:24I talk more build than player, you know. No, no, I get that.
87:28I was just curious. What I'll say is that if you're asking, would I rather have Tyler Warren and Jordan Tyson instead
87:36of Godwin and lose out on Warren all day, give me Warren and then Tyson.
87:41Yeah. Honestly, I would take Tyson there just because I'd be looking, you know, I've got three great wide receivers I feel
87:48really good about and then I want that upside shot of Tyson.
87:52I think that probably fits the build a little bit better than Godwin.
87:57But, you know, again, it's preferences. You know, this guy might think that, you know, Godwin is going to do everything that I think Tyson's going to do.
88:06So, you know, that's the way it goes. Yeah.
88:09All right. Team three? Team three? Is that Nelson?
88:12Who's breaking down that one? Huge, huge. Yeah. That's a nice deal on McBride there.
88:18That's for sure. Yeah. I mean, team three, you know, this is like a similar type of build that I like to do.
88:25That's why Chris, you know, would have guessed, you know, my team.
88:29I don't really have an issue with, you know, what he did.
88:34Three wide receivers. Got a discount in McBride. Um, decided to pair, you know, Burrow with Chase.
88:39Got a running back that he liked in Tootin.
88:42And then when you – the 7-8 turn, that's where you got to grab your RB2 and then you got to figure out your flex.
88:51because now you've taken an early tight end and an early quarterback.
88:55So something's going to look weak. So like, you know, his RB2 and his flex, you know, I guess on paper would be like the question marks.
89:04I did like that he went Harvey and Coleman.
89:07He was able to get both of them. They just said that J.K.
89:12Dobbins is back in pads in practice already. So it's a nothing burger with that whole thing.
89:18But, you know, again, J.K. Dobbins. I thought also interesting he double tapped on Cleveland with Concepcion in Boston.
89:24Yeah, I like that too. Yep. By the way, Kyler Murray named Vikings starting quarterback today.
89:29He will. Okay. All right, let's move up. That'll keep all the J.J.
89:34people quiet, I'm sure. Well, that should entrench him in the first round, I would assume, for the people.
89:40I don't think anybody was – I mean, he's getting drafted where he's drafted based on Kyler Murray.
89:47Yeah, no, I know. If he's a name starter or Murray went down, J.J.
89:51would fall to the third round probably. No, but I'm saying like Nelson mentioned earlier in the show about what was happening this weekend, if that's true.
90:01Yeah. So people probably were starting to get a bit nervous.
90:04Yeah. Gotcha, gotcha. All right, who's up next? Team four.
90:08I'll go first on this one. I didn't really like the way he started his draft, but things kind of fell together for him really well.
90:17So, you know, hey, it sort of worked out in the end.
90:21I think it's a good team. Yeah. It did work out.
90:24Yeah. You know, I'm passing Jeremiah Love there. I like the talent, but I don't like the situation.
90:31I think I would have taken a wide receiver there as my number three because I'm still high on Jameson and DJ Moore there.
90:39So you could take them, you could take a shot on burden, you know, add some more risk.
90:45But I think I would have liked that. And then you come back with Swift as your RB2 and then you got Tyson as your wide receiver four.
90:54But it's all, listen, it's all preference, you know?
90:57Well, you say that, Nelson, because the fourth round there, it's a drop off at receiver.
91:03You put a receiver where you put Love and you still get Swift as your 2 to Barkley.
91:09Now you have three good wide receivers before a cliff comes.
91:13It just changes the whole dynamic. Now, Jeremiah Love might be all world this year.
91:18It might be a superstar and then this was the right pick.
91:22But in terms of the build, you're still getting a solid running back, 2, in the fifth round there.
91:29No matter who it is, you know, the cliff does not end there.
91:33So getting good running backs into the sixth round and sometimes even the seventh.
91:38So, you know, that's why I'm inclined to get the third receiver there.
91:42I mean, I'll do team five. I think they started out, you know, I love to start the three wide.
91:49I just don't see going four running backs there.
91:52I think that was just too much. You need wide receivers.
91:56I like Coker, but I want to have a wide receiver for, you know, probably in that sixth round or at least at that seventh round.
92:05You know, I probably would have taken Brooks in the sixth and, you know, I could take the receiver in the seventh.
92:12That's the way I would have looked at it.
92:15He probably this was the one team that stood out to me where I was like, and that's just because I mean, listen, he takes two upside picks.
92:25Price and Brooks, right? Could be two home run picks to break out running backs this year.
92:31And maybe he goes into that price pick loving price and saying, oh, price is going to be my flex player on
92:38a weekly basis and then comes back around and Brooks is still on the board.
92:43He says, holy shit, if price doesn't work out, at least I have Brooks to be the lottery ticket type pick.
92:50But when you look back at it, if, you know, obviously you don't know that you're going to get Brooks there in
92:58the seventh, you know, you replace a Brian Thomas where you took Jadarian Price or a DK Metcalf as the fourth wide receiver.
93:06Now you feel a lot better about your team with that fourth wide receiver on your roster in case something happens to the first three.
93:14You got to remember, you're going to play three weeks a year without one of those three guys, JSN, Neighbors or Wilson.
93:22And that's if everything goes perfectly, right? And there's no injuries or anything.
93:26That's why we take the fourth wide receiver because it makes us sleep a little better at night when the bye weeks happen and when injuries happen.
93:35At least we have something to move up and into the lineup.
93:40So, you know. My biggest argument again was I just would have taken Brooks, but that's a preference thing.
93:46And I would not have gone four running backs regardless.
93:49I think that's just asking too much. For all the points you made, Chris.
93:54Yeah. And he got Ferguson, so he's already, you know, done.
93:58Dan, you're a little slow to react to that joke, I think.
94:02Yeah. Sorry. All right. I'm walking here. Just checking in on you, Dan.
94:06That's all. Yeah. Yeah. That's, I mean, that killed the team right there, really.
94:11Yeah. Let's be honest. That's where I was going with the joke, Dan.
94:16Yes. Thank you. Team six. Team six. I don't know.
94:19I guess it's my turn. Amon. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
94:22Yeah. Listen, as Matt says, what is this? The rainbow draft, Matt, in the beginning?
94:27Yes. Besides the tight end. Listen, I can't argue.
94:30You know, not much sticks out to me here.
94:33I should have probably reviewed it a little sooner, but I think he's in trouble.
94:39Chuba Hubbard has his two down the stretch, but that's the price you pay for the elite quarterback and Josh Allen.
94:46So, anybody. Yeah. I mean, yes, he does have Dobbins, but he's going to be making that decision every week.
94:53Chuba Hubbard, J.K. Dobbins, it's the same type of running back play, you know?
94:57The veteran guy that you stick in there and hope he gets 14 carries for 80 yards and pray he falls into
95:05the end zone on a weekly basis. So, there's not much of a difference.
95:10He just seems too light on running back for me.
95:13I mean, you know, he's got four tight ends.
95:16I don't really understand why you're taking all those tight ends when you only got four running backs.
95:22Yeah. I just couldn't take Court and Sutton over Brian Thomas.
95:26Even if Brian Thomas winds up being a dud, I'm taking that, you know, the youth, what Thomas did just to, you know, one year removed.
95:35So, I just. Yeah. Yeah. Pat Bryant coming on.
95:38No need for. No. The glaring thing. There's no need to draft Bo Nix there.
95:4311th round Bo Nix. When you're the Josh Allen owner, you know, you got to put another receiver or running back on your roster right there.
95:52Especially when you built your wide receiver room. When he could have had Coleman.
95:57Yeah. To back up Thomas. I mean, I'm sure he was looking at a, hey, I'm going to pair him up with Courtland Sutton.
96:05But if Sutton was a mistake, then Nix is a compounding of that mistake.
96:10Yeah. Well, yeah. But I think the Coleman pick.
96:13If you put Coleman where Nix is and at least you've got Dobbins Coleman, it makes it better.
96:19Right. Yeah. Yeah. This is, it's probably Spiteri. Was Spiteri in this group?
96:23Broncos defense. Bo Nix. No. J.K. Dobbins. Courtland Sutton.
96:26Holy shit. This is, this is, this is Spiteri.
96:29He's got. It might be. It might be. He's got Troy Franklin.
96:33Wait. He's got Evan Ingram. Holy shit. It's Spiteri's team.
96:37Okay. Yep. I didn't want to out him, but I think that, I think it's pretty obvious.
96:43That's what it is. Oh, man. That's funny. All right.
96:46Team seven. No Cam Ward, though, on the team.
96:49He got beaten to the punch in round 14, I guess.
96:53Or no. Sorry. Other way around. Got beaten to the punch in round 13.
96:58All right. Who's next with the Gentie team? I'll do it.
97:01Go for it. You know, Gentie Bowers. I love both players.
97:05I'm just a little hesitant taking both on my same team.
97:09You know, because if it does go, if it does go south.
97:13But again, I love both. He got the three receivers.
97:16I mean, the build itself. You know, as well.
97:20You know, Jared Goff. Nelson said it last week.
97:23He puts up numbers every year. I personally would rather have Goff as my second quarterback.
97:28That would be my thing. But if you're comfortable with Goff as your one and Ward as your backup, or I'd at
97:36least want a better backup than Cam Ward if I'm going with Goff as my one.
97:41Let me say that. So, otherwise, you know, that's really my – as far as the build goes.
97:47You know, which is tight. You know, he's got the elite tight end.
97:52So, I mean, maybe the players aren't some of my favorites.
97:55A couple of guys, you know, earlier on at the receiver position at the 4-5.
98:00But that's just preference. That's the build I think he accomplished.
98:04All right. Team 8, the Boomer build. Got McCaffrey and Derrick Henry both on the same team.
98:10I mean, this team is old. Devontae Adams. We got Kittle in there.
98:14We got Andrews. Keenan Allen. Keenan Allen. Yeah. So, we're reaching for familiar names here, it appears.
98:20But, yeah, I just – to me, it's so hard to start off with three running backs in this kind of room
98:28and then come out with a good team. I mean, I think he did a decent job on, you know, getting his three wide receivers.
98:36I think Brian Thomas was kind of a gift.
98:39Probably shouldn't have fallen that far. But, you know, he ended up with three solid receivers there.
98:45But it's, you know, I don't know. It's an okay team, but I don't love it.
98:51Build-wise for a three running back start, I don't have any problem with it.
98:55I mean, he got five wide receivers after that in the top nine rounds.
99:00So, and he's not – and he only needs three of them each week, you know.
99:06Right. Yeah, my biggest thing was, like, instead of Warren, I'm taking Golden or Wondell there.
99:11I just spent my first three picks on running backs.
99:14So, those guys better, you know – those guys – I ain't taking a running back until double-digit rounds.
99:21Yeah, you got to take a receiver there. Yeah.
99:24Yep. Totally agree with that. Nelson, are you on next for the Jefferson team?
99:29Sure. I feel like he took on some risk.
99:32You got, you know, Rice, Dunze, you know, he's obviously going to get moved up because of the burden news.
99:39You've got DK Metcalf, and, like, I'm not a fan of his this year.
99:43You got Alec Pierce, who's injured. So, I feel like you got a couple of, like, injured guys.
99:50And then, I don't know, Aaron Jones, Woody Marks, Pacheco are just kind of boring to me.
99:55Jennings is boring. And then he punted, basically, tight end.
99:59And with that wide receiver room in Jacksonville, I just don't see, like, how strange is going to be a guy that
100:06you want to start every week as you're starting tight end.
100:10That's just my opinion. So, you know, there's some good things about it.
100:14Like, I – but it's not my preferred team.
100:18I just don't – I don't like a lot of the players on it.
100:22Gotcha. Mm-hmm. All right. Team 10, who's up? I'll do it.
100:26I'll jump in here real quick. You know, Lamb Taylor starts solid.
100:30I like the start – I mean, I'm not a Jacobs guy, but fifth round, you know.
100:36What I really like about this team here is where he nailed these three receivers and downs, digs, Addison, you know, from that perspective.
100:44He knew what he had to do there and get those three receivers because this is the toughest build to pull off, right?
100:52The elite quarterback and the elite tight end. And he did it as well as he could.
100:58You know, he had two monster receivers. He's got JT, monster bell cow, gets Jacobs.
101:03I mean, I know a lot of people are fading Jacobs and everything, but if he's back at the end of the
101:10summer, he's still a guy that's going to touch the ball 20 times as your RB2.
101:16Elite quarterback. And then he hits the wide receiver position.
101:19So, he put it together pretty well for, you know, rolling the dice.
101:24He put himself behind the 8-ball with taking the Lovell and Lamar Jackson combo, but it still worked out.
101:30Yeah, he used the shovel and dug himself out pretty good.
101:34I like that. Yep. All right. Team 11, I think we've already agreed is the right here, so we'll just – No, no, no.
101:42You guys didn't grade me. I want to hear a grade because, listen, this is not my best work.
101:49It's not my preferred, my favorite team. So, I am curious.
101:52This is your opportunity to shit on my team.
101:55Yeah. The only shipment over downs was the – Yeah, Nelson, don't worry.
102:00I have no problem shitting on it. I know.
102:03I know. Go ahead. The floor is yours, Chris.
102:06Well, apparently Matt might piss on it, so. Matt's going to piss on it.
102:11I'm going to shit on it. Yeah, listen. Just because of what happened to you with Carnell Tate and everything, I mean,
102:18I think you did everything right after the Carnell Tate pick with Scadaboo and then Drake May.
102:24I just – with Pittman, Higgins, and Stripling as your 3-4-5, I just think you're going to have a tough time winning this league.
102:32I'll leave it at that. I mean, the players-wise, I like.
102:36The one thing I'm surprised that you did was go with Tyler Shuck in the 11th – 13th.
102:4213th? Oh, 13th round. All right. I guess I can't say much about that.
102:47Yeah. No issues. No issues. Just – I'll leave her.
102:50I just don't love it, Nelson. Yeah. I think if you're going to start two running backs in the back end, those
102:58are probably the right ones to start with. I mean, Cook and Brown, if they are both more involved in the passing game, that could be massive.
103:07All right. Yeah, I mean, for me – Nelson, is it safe to say that you got Chase Brown now as a
103:15top five running back in your rankings with this, or you just wanted to diversify a little bit?
103:21No. I've got – Basically, right after Bijan, I've got James Cook and then Chase Brown.
103:26Yeah. So, okay. Gotcha. I'm taking them over McCaffrey and Jenty.
103:30Well, and Taylor. McCaffrey, Taylor. Taylor and Jenty. Yeah.
103:33Yeah. Okay, yeah. All right. Team 12. We'll let Matt do this one.
103:37Matt did all of them already. Matt got the most urgency, so he'll get us out of here.
103:44Yeah, Matt. Okay. Three-wall. Let's see. Yeah, no, I like this.
103:47You get Herbert, LaPorter. See, that's the beauty of what the drafts are allowing you to get four wide.
103:54You got two solid running backs, you know, and, you know, elite quarterbacks.
103:58This is going to be the preferred. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
104:01You got it. This is what you're going to see most people draft like.
104:06Right, Matt? I agree. Yep. You know? Right wide receivers.
104:10Yeah. Yeah. I mean, that was a great start.
104:13When you can go London, A.J. Brown, Olave, right, the value at the 4-5 turn is running back.
104:19Yeah. Not receiver. Not receiver. So, again, you know, you don't know if those are going to be the receivers that hit,
104:26you know, to win an overall title. But as far as preference, yeah, that's my preferred build.
104:32Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And that's what you're going to see a lot of people do is three wide.
104:38The running backs in the fourth, fifth, sixth round mix it up.
104:42There's a lot of names, a lot of solid backs that have control of their backfield there.
104:48And then come right back and you wait on quarterback and tight end and you hit them in the eighth, ninth, tenth rounds.
104:56And you still get two really good ones for a combination.
105:00So, nailed it. Love it. All right, gentlemen. Take this out, Darren.
105:04I think we're there. We've been at it for an hour and 45 minutes.
