Brock Bowers

PositiveValue14:01

Joe Kuba drafted Brock Bowers at 1.05 in a start-11 dynasty league with 0.75 tight end premium scoring, noting that elite tight ends in this format can score as well as top wide receivers and provide a significant positional advantage.

Insight page

Cam Skattebo

PositiveValue30:33

Jax Falcone drafted Cam Skattebo, noting he is very high on the player and that the format's 0.25 first-down premium makes running backs more advantageous.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeValue15:02

CeeDee Lamb fell to the 3.03 in Joe Kuba's startup draft, illustrating the volatility of draft tiers and the difficulty of navigating the 1.05 draft slot.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection50:48

The source remains high on Christian Watson's upside, noting that Green Bay has been a factory for wide receiver production under Matt LaFleur. While acknowledging his injury history, the source views him as the likely alpha on the team.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeUsage58:46

Chuba Hubbard is expected to be in a committee with Jonathan Brooks, but the source notes that Hubbard has struggled with explosive run metrics and is likely to lose the lead role to the more dynamic Brooks.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveValue18:28

Trav Hostin drafted Colston Loveland at 2.06, emphasizing that elite tight ends in premium formats provide scoring potential comparable to top wide receivers.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveUsage65:47

The source views De'Von Achane as the primary fantasy asset in the Miami offense. While there are concerns about his durability and potential usage if the team struggles, he remains the clear focal point of the backfield.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout74:02

Denzel Boston is highlighted as a player to target in dynasty leagues. He has a strong model score and is reportedly winning the preseason competition, making him a high-upside acquisition.

Insight page

Dontayvion Wicks

NegativeDepth Chart46:56

Dontayvion Wicks is noted as being removed from the primary rotation, contributing to a cleared-up depth chart for the Packers' receiving corps.

Insight page

Eli Raridon

PositiveBreakout88:00

Eli Raradon is settling in rapidly as a receiving threat in Patriots camp, consistently earning first-team reps over Hunter Henry. His ability to make plays in the red zone and his clear path to the TE2 role make him a high-upside sleeper, especially given his athleticism and the team's trust in him as a target.

Insight page

Elijah Moore

PositiveBreakout66:52

Elijah Moore is receiving strong training camp reports as a standout who is winning contested catches and showing improved aggression in year two. The source highlights his college efficiency metrics (0.24 targets per route run, 2.1 yards per route run) as evidence of his potential.

Insight page

Gunnar Helm

PositiveRole72:36

Despite concerns about target competition in the Titans offense, the source argues that Gunner Helm will emerge as the second target behind Carnell Tate. His role as a productive tight end is supported by the team's likely high pass rate and tendency to play from behind.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

NegativeValue28:15

Jax Falcone drafted Harold Fannin as his tight end four, noting that while there is more risk compared to other elite tight ends, he completes a strong stack in a super tight end premium league.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeValue52:07

The source suggests that JJ McCarthy is a buy-low candidate in deep dynasty leagues, particularly as a throw-in for larger trades. Despite the skepticism surrounding his immediate starting role, the source believes he will eventually get another opportunity to surface in the NFL.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

PositiveValue18:53

Trav Hostin drafted Jalen Hurts at 3.06 over Patrick Mahomes, citing Hurts' younger age and potential for increased passing volume in his offense.

Insight page

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

PositiveValue17:27

Trav Hostin selected Jaxon Smith-Njigba at 1.07 in a third-round reversal draft, viewing him as a key piece of a young core alongside Colston Loveland.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

PositiveValue51:08

Jaden Reed is considered the best value play among Packers receivers. Despite concerns about his usage in two-wide receiver sets, he has proven to be a target earner when on the field. The source suggests he is an 'arbitrage play' and a smart target in dynasty startups given his lower cost compared to Watson and Golden.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveValue27:07

Jax Falcone drafted Jeremiah Love at 2.04, describing the price as a steal in a running back-friendly draft format.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveBreakout58:38

Jonathan Brooks is fully cleared and taking first-team reps for the Panthers. The source expects him to eventually pull away from Chuba Hubbard as the more dynamic and explosive back. He is highly valued for his pass-catching ability and is considered a potential RB2 or better, though the source suggests considering selling for profit if he produces early in the season.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeUsage53:36

Josh Jacobs faces multiple concerns including potential suspension risk, injury history, a decline in performance late last season, and the emergence of Marshawn Lloyd. The source notes that if Jacobs misses time, the team's pass rate over expected is likely to increase.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeValue14:55

Joe Kuba selected Justin Jefferson in the second round of his startup draft after debating between him and CeeDee Lamb, noting that Lamb fell to the 3.03, which highlights the difficulty of drafting from the 1.05 slot.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveProjection36:51

The source notes Kyler Murray has been named the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, leading to increased optimism for his dynasty value due to his rushing upside and the Kevin O'Connell offensive scheme.

Insight page
PositiveProjection38:49

The source remains high on Kyler Murray for fantasy purposes due to his rushing upside, which guarantees top-12 production regardless of team success. While there are concerns about his long-term job security and the potential for him to be benched or injured, he is considered a 'must-start' in fantasy lineups.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveUsage15:51

Joe Kuba traded back in the fourth round to acquire Ladd McConkey, specifically seeking more exposure to the player after previously trading away some shares.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeValue16:52

Joe Kuba opted not to draft Luther Burden despite him being 'one of his guys' because he already holds 50% exposure to the player, deeming further investment irresponsible.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveProjection24:06

Jax Falcone drafted Malik Nabers at 1.09, arguing that if healthy, Nabers is the WR1 in dynasty and a must-draft despite potential injury concerns.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeInjury58:04

Marshawn Lloyd was viewed as a high-upside backup who would get every chance to compete for touches, but the source reports he has suffered a hamstring injury, which complicates his immediate outlook.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

NegativeRole4:20

Matthew Golden is receiving positive reports from Packers camp and is reportedly playing the X receiver role with Christian Watson at the Z. While he has a lucrative role, the source remains skeptical of his efficiency and volume, projecting him as the fourth target on the team behind Watson, Reed, and Kraft. He is viewed as a 'poor man's Jameson Williams' and not a high-end dynasty buy.

Insight page
PositiveRole77:08

Matthew Golden is receiving positive reports out of Packers training camp and is reportedly playing the 'X' receiver position, with Christian Watson at the 'Z'.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

NegativeDepth Chart84:06

Omar Cooper Jr. is facing a potential depth chart demotion, with reports indicating undrafted player Isaiah Williams could pass him. While Cooper retains some benefit of the doubt as a first-round pick, his inability to secure a clear role is a red flag. The source suggests a patient approach, betting on a potential coaching change next year to unlock his talent.

Insight page

Pat Bryant

NegativeRole74:36

While there is hype surrounding Pat Bryant potentially overtaking Courtland Sutton, the source remains skeptical, noting Bryant's recent injury and the historical difficulty of having two fantasy-relevant wide receivers in a Sean Payton offense. He is viewed as a flex-level asset in dynasty rather than a redraft priority.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeValue24:06

Jax Falcone considered drafting Puka Nacua at 1.09, noting that he is one of his most rostered players, but ultimately chose Malik Nabers for his elite ceiling.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveBreakout19:58

Trav Hostin drafted Quinnshon Judkins at 4.07, projecting him to have real RB1 upside in the current format.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveValue15:23

Joe Kuba drafted Tyler Warren in the third round, viewing him as an elite tight end who is flex-worthy in 0.75 premium scoring formats, providing insurance for Brock Bowers.

2:00and uh of course we have joe quavius kuba talk is chilling with us how you doing my man oh man I'm
2:07fantastic august is back news is flying everywhere people are making stupid stupid decisions coming to stupid conclusions based on limited information
2:14you know I think my advice to most people is just like don't overreact to everything but at the same time I
2:21am the one refreshing twitter constantly right now just trying to figure out what's going on I need to know I need
2:28to know what's happening I need to know everything about training camp I need to hear people's opinions I just like I
2:35love it I love it so much and then today one of the worst things possible could that could happen to me
2:42happened um I got a new phone recently and as a result I got a new phone case I decided to do
2:49one of those wallet cases right but it's like a little bulky it's too bulky it's kind of like annoying in my
2:56pocket and so when I'm at work I take it out of my pocket and I just leave it on my desk
3:03uh nature called I ran to the bathroom number two had to go and uh I realized as I sat down once
3:10the ship had already sailed no I didn't have my phone I didn't have my phone like one of the like true
3:17joys in life is just mainlining information while you're sitting on the john you know seeing what happened on twitter in the
3:24last 15 minutes since the last time you checked and uh you know I didn't have that it was just a small
3:31gap uh but it was you know loomed large so yeah I don't wish that like that's like going to the gym
3:38without your headphones like that's like the equivalent it's just like you go to this gym you for you realize you forgot
3:45your headphones it's like you almost want to just not work out you might want to go home at that point right
3:52see see let me just tell you something joe trav and I as experienced parents know full well what the value of
3:59an internet poop and that's what we call it in the house it's an internet but you know my wife a little
4:06bit like were you doing an internet poop which basically is hardly a poop at all I mean there may or may
4:13not be poop but there's definitely the internet you've got the door locked you you're spraying in there for whatever reason but
4:20you are in there on your device and so therefore yeah you missed it you missed a golden opportunity golden opportunity uh
4:27you know uh I I saw something on the internet recently where it was just talking about like somebody made fun of
4:34somebody with some macho thing where it's like you probably sit while you pee and then like somebody posted something about like
4:41actually there are studies and like the percentage of men that sit while they pee has increased drastically I'm like well yeah
4:48obviously obviously I know what they're doing yeah they're on their phones yeah you rock a quick pee and you spend the
4:55next 10 minutes scrolling that's exactly what you do yeah no that's uh that's a nightgrain staple yeah exactly I find great
5:03value in the sitting pee when I can barely stand up for whatever reason that may be you know but I'm not
5:10gonna just saunter into my bathroom at 3 30 a.m if I have to go and like just you know shower my
5:17uh you know my uh my bathroom I'm gonna I'm gonna have a controlled setting I'm gonna sit down I'm gonna get
5:24everything in there for sure and relax for a minute you know what I mean like yeah no no just get some
5:31blue light ruin the rest of your REM sleep yeah absolutely yeah nothing 30 yeah nothing better than tinker stinker time for
5:38sure and actually um speaking of boys we're in the draft streets right now I have to give a big shout out
5:45the second listener league has started gorilla pineapple we are three picks into the fifth round um and it's going well boys
5:52how are you feeling about it I actually hate it I I think we should never do an august startup again I
5:59think July is the cutoff for a startup because once august rolls around there's too much information flying and honestly like people
6:06are incentivized to take all the time on the clock because you know injuries happen every day it's like you know you
6:13might as well just sit around and wait and see what happens um and then there are some people that like went
6:20early and I bet they wish they didn't because you get these nuggets that probably would have changed decisions so I just
6:27think it's a bad time to do it I think no doubt I think this is redraft season and doing a startup
6:34was like you know just completely cursed right now in fairness though this was not when we started the startup we started
6:41it like two months ago and then like procrastinated you went on vacation I went on vacation this that the other like
6:48it's been a thing that we announced like when do we announce it on this I wanted to do it in May
6:55I was talking about this in late May this is a procrastination issue I think the announcement was like probably about a
7:02month and a half ago about a month early June it was right after the trip where I wore the pineapple shirt
7:09that's right that's right okay yeah so we'll be better we'll be better yeah we're uh we were just living life and
7:16touching grass you know so it's good but like I said we're back in the swing and Jax you're actually on the
7:23clock in that league I am on the clock I am on the OTC yeah I am OTC I am OTC well
7:30we well we are kind of OTC but we're buddies um so so Joe care to tell the people what you've done
7:37thus far and you're in your you know you guys can each quickly share what you've done I think it's for the
7:44listener you know sure yeah the thought process I gotta pull it up real quick I mean it's been hard it's been
7:51hard to get trades done and I was I was the last person to pick my draft slot so I got stuck
7:58with the 105 which you know the 105 is fine but what happens in the second round is you're kind of in
8:05no man's land because all the quarterbacks and receivers and running backs that you want are gobbled up by then and now
8:12you're just at the beginning of a tier um and I desperate desperately tried and I couldn't get out of that pick
8:20so anyway nobody wants it yeah yeah nobody wants it because you know you if you're at the 302 303 it's the
8:27same tier you're getting the same quality of player so that's what sucks um so anyways I got this is a pretty
8:34pretty high tight end premium um 0.75 on top of the half point per reception so it's significant um so I got
8:41Bowers in the first round at 105 which I feel great about this is a start 12 by the way right uh
8:48start 11 start 11 excuse me 12 by 11 then I got Justin Jefferson at that second round pick that I was
8:55talking about that I was trying to trade out of and of course like I was debating between him and CD lamb
9:02and a couple of other players and sure enough CD lamb somehow fell to like the 3.03 which is exactly what I'm
9:09talking about and why I was trying to get out of that pick uh and then in the third round let's see
9:16here I think I traded out of that no no third round Tyler Warren had fell to me which was ridiculous in
9:23this format given the scoring settings because I can flex him he's very you know elite tight end is a very flex
9:30worthy player so I was like great I get to play keep away at the tight end position and I can plug
9:37him to the flex and I've got insurance in case Bauer goes down to keep that positional advantage so I just pulled
9:44the trigger on Tyler Warren and then in the fourth round I did a tiny little trade back I moved back the
9:51few spots uh got Ladd McConkie there and I moved up in a couple of other rounds for that trade back so
9:58that's what I'm sitting on right now who did you trade away who who was picked the moment you traded the pick
10:05away oh well in the fourth round I traded back you're probably not going to believe me but I traded back three
10:12spots and the dude that I traded with a listener uh he immediately drafted Luther Burden which everybody knows is one of
10:19my guys and like the chat exploded like oh oh I'm gonna be honest with you guys I was never gonna draft
10:26with the burden because I have so I've got like 50% Luther Burden I can't it's irresponsible to draft more Luther Burden
10:33so I was comfortable moving back and I wanted more lad exposure because I traded a couple lad shares away so I
10:40like wanted more lad exposure again yeah that's where I'm at nice team my team I was at the 107 um and
10:47I took JSN this is a third round reversal too and uh by the time I was able to select the pick
10:54that I wanted seven was the latest in the first round that I could get so I went with that uh JSN
11:01Jax I was really worried you were gonna snipe me in that second round with that tight end premium at 206 I
11:08went Colston Loveland I think to your point about Warren Joe like these elite tight ends are gonna score as good as
11:15all but like two wide receivers if not as good as those top couple wide receivers right so those guys are important
11:22to get and of course Loveland is one of my guys I actually think this draft is very on brand for me
11:29came back at 306 and the quarterbacks were flying um I had Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes on the board and I
11:36went for Jalen Hurts because he's a couple years younger and having JSN Loveland is kind of a young core so I
11:44figured I'd take the two years of discount um and the fact that I think there might be some upside on Jalen
11:51Hurts with some more passing and then at 407 I wanted to get one of the running backs they were fading the
11:58tier was like pretty much gone um so I went for my boy Quinn Sean because I think he has real like
12:05RV1 upside um and now I can just keep filling out and I have some positional versatility being that I stretched it
12:12out a little bit so I'm pretty happy with it it's very on brand I would like to see some trade action
12:19happening uh but Joe the market in this draft was set very early and it was set very affordable um so when
12:26you came calling for uh to move back or no to move me back to the 208 I think or no you
12:33were trying to move back from the 109 maybe I think I was trying to jump up to your 10 that's right
12:40and I wasn't our boy Keegan messed up the market from the onset and so I was like well I can't pay
12:47more than that because he paid just some laughably low price for the 102 and then Trav came asking for something higher
12:54than what the 102 went for and I explained to him and showed him I was like hey I can't pay more
13:01than that here's what I'm willing to pay and uh he wasn't willing to sell so yeah no thanks a lot Keegan
13:08I also you at Jax I also got the great DM when I was trying to trade um hey man I listen
13:15to every show can't do it you know it's like yeah gotcha so in other words someone was like I know what
13:22you're doing I literally listen to you I can't be on the other side and so when you're in leagues where you
13:29know the old trade back thing and you know everybody's trying to do that so I'm not gonna pay to move up
13:36but I'm also not going to you know just sit there and wait and not move back and it's just too it
13:43was just too hard so I stick stuck and picked you know I did not trade really at all I don't think
13:50I've made a trade yet which is fine you know um it's not our game but everybody knows our game in this
13:57draft so it's it's different yeah there's nobody swinging from the hips going let me move you know there's just none of
14:04that it's all very like like us you know which is like you know it's it's it's a hard it's hard it's
14:11hard to play in listener leagues because there's so much homogeny you know I like to play in leagues where there's like
14:18all sorts of different types of people you know um you know but it's okay it's fun as hell you know uh
14:25all that to say uh I started um with the 109 uh again it was third round reversal so you try to
14:32get to the back that was the latest pick I could get um you know Jamar I mean uh Jameer Gibbs, Bijon,
14:39Jamar Chase, Bowers, JSN all off the board and I'm sitting there and I tank all the time I'm tanking right now
14:46I'm on the clock as we speak but I tanked with the decision of Malik Nabors versus Puka Nakua Puka Nakua certainly
14:53the person that I should be drafting there at the 109 I've got a ton of Puka Puka is probably one of
15:01my most rostered players and I thought to myself if Malik Nabors is healthy by week five and like just doing Malik
15:08Nabors types things I think he's the wide receiver one in Dynasty and so I can't be like well what if he's
15:15hurt well what if he's hurt then you're screwed all the way around so you have to just assume that he's going
15:22to be okay and he's going to be fine and he's 22 years old 23 whatever you just turned and you've got
15:29the youngest most elite wide receiver so I went Malik Nabors in the first round running backs are fairly uh valuable in
15:36this format the way that real quick real quick I I almost took Malik at 105 I was my debate was between
15:43Bowers and Malik yeah um so but given the format I was like you know what I have tons of Malik and
15:50not as much Bowers as I want so that's why I went Bowers given the additional tight end premium here so you
15:57were taking him at wide receiver two as well basically as well I mean JSN it was in the conversation all those
16:04players I I I don't know if I would have had JSN available to me if I'd have taken him over it's
16:11a very difficult choice um but yeah Malik Nabors has to be considered right up there it swung around the the the
16:18bend and there was no other running backs taken just Gibbs and Bijan and I'm at the 204 and yeah I was just in front of you Mr.
16:27Trav but I decided Jeremiah Love at this price is as cheap as you're ever going to find a Jeremiah Love share
16:34especially in a very running back friendly draft it felt like stealing so I start Malik Nabors Jeremiah Love it came all
16:41the way back around and we've talked about this like we were Drake May last year I am team Jackson Dart going
16:48forward Dart falls all the way to me in the 309 so I can you know stack them up uh go around
16:55the horn and the tight end four is available there for me which is great I get Harold Fannin um I think
17:02there's a little bit more risk to Fannin than there is to the other three that you've already drafted you know the
17:09Bowers Loveland and Warren but you know we basically stack up the the first four tight ends in the super tight and
17:16premium league felt pretty good um and now I'm back on the clock I'm back on the clock what do you get
17:23what do you got Joe well and you're right in front of me because I traded and I moved up my trade
17:30to get back to lad in the fourth moved me up in this round so now I'm right behind you I knew
17:37that was going to be a problem and I knew I was going to be annoyed by it so just go ahead
17:44and just go ahead and just drop it on me all right rip it buddy there are there's a there's a there's
17:51a few players and I because you guys pick next and because this is going on in the airwaves I don't want
17:58there to be any table talk so I'm hesitant to just give up the thought process here so I have to be
18:05careful um I have to be careful on a number of levels I will say there's an immense amount of strategy to
18:12this league I will say that there are values but I am going to pick and when I pick I'm going to
18:19do so silently without telling you I pick and I'm going to let Joe and Trav be the guys that react as
18:26I go ahead and pick I was not expecting that at all I know okay okay so uh Mr.
18:33Falcone has taken one Mr. Cam Scadaboo oh it hadn't refreshed for me so thank you I mean I don't know if
18:40like um let's just say I had the time to react in the league chat I think I'd be making fun of
18:47you that was a little early bro that was a little early bro I mean I get the so just there is
18:54there is a there's a premium on first downs it's 0.25 per first down right so you've got that going in your
19:01favor which makes running backs a little bit more advantageous plus you only have to start two wide receivers correct yeah yeah
19:08running backs outscore wide receivers in the format that being said also I have to ask you a question here because weren't you Mr.
19:15like Cam Scadaboo is in your top 12 or something like that running backs or some yeah I'm super high on Cam
19:22Scadaboo I thought I thought he was like super and I didn't check your this was a me decision I didn't pick
19:29him because of you it's a really difficult decision there's a couple of players and if you guys pick actually if you
19:36guys both pick I'll be more than happy to continue to discuss some of the thought process that went into that pick
19:44if you don't it's fine either way I'm just a little bit surprised that you went running back there and I guess
19:51the reason is because it's just not how we typically build our dynasty teams right we tend to fill all those flex
19:58spots with wide receivers first and worry about fixing running back later now I will say yep this is true talk this
20:05is table talk but it's okay it's more strategy talk there is an element to the fact that we're doing this startup
20:12so late in the season in the offseason where there's not going to be enough time to fix the running back position
20:19before the season starts right by the time we get this thing done it's going to be like you know week one
20:26is going to be right there so I have felt a little bit of pressure to take a running back because of
20:33that uh that being said I don't think I'm going to do that here there is another player that I mean there's
20:40a couple players that I was very very close to drafting so it'll be interesting yeah um I don't know I don't
20:47think I really want to do this on the spot it's right now I'm between two guys I'm between two guys and
20:54I don't think I'm ready to do this okay let's just let's just save it then how big is it into the
21:01show how big is it a small gap it's a small it's a tiny gap just like like one inch gap you
21:08know so just like for guys like us it's like everything well I've got the full New York Giants stack that's right
21:15yeah neighbors dart and hopefully they're good yep imagine a situation I think you got a naggy problem on your hands get
21:22it nagging nagging yeah it was bad joke but that's okay you can't you're not gonna hit them all I do this
21:29all the time I make thousands of bad jokes but thousands of good ones yeah hopefully Cam Scadabo doesn't have anything nagging
21:36him either um but boys I'm gonna get us into the show sheet here I'm gonna get us if and when you
21:43guys ever pick I'd be more than happy to share some strategy as to what I was thinking there maybe before the
21:50show's over maybe we'll see we'll see how we're feeling yep we're getting into this boys because we have a bunch a
21:57bunch of hype that we're hearing around training camps and we got to talk about it some of it is are we
22:04buying the hype some of it is what do we think of the player the situation and so let's dive in boys
22:11because just today we're recording this on the 11th which is Tuesday Kyler Murray was named the starting quarterback for the Minnesota
22:18Vikings Jax I've been like the biggest kind of detractor I would say maybe of Kyler Murray there's a bit of a
22:25leaf being turned there's a bit of a leaf being turned especially in for the 2026 well I'm not ready to say
22:32that yet so let's not go that far buddy it's gonna take a lot for that one to come out but we're
22:39getting closer to that because Kyler Murray now being the cemented starter this is such a good situation and we've talked about
22:46that right and it's it's kind of getting harder to poke holes because Kyler Murray does have some of that rushing upside
22:53we like the Kevin O'Connell offense I was thinking about it earlier today and like it's hard to think of like the
23:01the alpha receivers that he's supported goes back to like DeAndre Hopkins the the thing that I like translating that into his
23:08Minnesota time is that he went through a period of kind of shitty play callers when he had Hopkins he had Cliff
23:15Kingsbury who is another innovative play caller that we like to attach to and now when we see LaFleur or when we
23:22see Kevin O'Connell sorry I'm thinking Cardinals for some reason yeah when we see Kevin O'Connell and one of the favorite schemes
23:29of all time for us I'm happy about Kyler Murray especially for 2026 and I think where I get happier for Dynasty
23:36is when he starts playing well and starts looking like he's more of the long-term answer for that Kevin O'Connell offense and
23:43so I'm starting to definite I've definitely risen him in my 2026 rankings and I'm going to take another look at those
23:50Dynasty rankings boys so what are the thoughts for you guys you've been a little bit higher on Kyler in the past
23:57so does this make you higher or does this more just make you a little bit more staunch in your stance so
24:04I gotta I gotta I gotta spill the beans here so my son is 10 he's just old enough to know you
24:11know when he was eight or whatever that I was pro JJ McCarthy and so he is dying he go he was
24:18like oh you're doing underground tonight he goes he basically wants to show bomb like bomb the show and come in and
24:25just nine me that's real nining someone is a thing now yes especially me like me because he's like you're a fucking
24:32idiot like we you know because even when I was like JJ was like he's like eight he's like of course not
24:39you know and I'm like so the the dumbest guy ever you know me uh but yeah it's gonna be great so
24:46tune in for that when you know little Jax Falcone comes in here and just you know puts the puts the L
24:53on his uh you know his forehead and and just you know does the nine dance on me I mean if he
25:00was off JJ McCarthy I think you might need to get Wally pipped on this show Jax but it's not by Jacob
25:07it might be by your own kid you've produced his show before you know how good he is um listen this is
25:14this is one of those situations where I'm terrified because it can all go different very quickly for all parties you know
25:21it could be you know it could be that Kyler crashes and burns in so far as they don't win you know
25:28that's the you know in other words he's he's one of those guys I said it last year guys I said the
25:35reason I like Kyler was if he plays he's usually pretty good with fantasy now he somehow failed on all accounts last
25:42year which was really kind of depressing but the point of the matter is is that like if he's playing in this
25:49offense yeah it should be very good for fantasy but again for how long he's on a one-year deal for no money
25:56he's gonna have to play his way into a contract and if he doesn't what's next for Kyler Murray right like it
26:03it's a it's a very fragile dynasty asset because there's also a huge uh quarterback class coming in next year we've talked
26:10about this so there's only going to be so many musical chairs available uh at the end of this um all that
26:18to say that you know that's where I'm I'm concerned you know that's where I'm concerned so I don't know how deep
26:25in the weeds you guys got in this quarterback competition I think when Kyler signed everybody thought it was a foregone conclusion
26:32that he was going to be the starter and you know as we sit here today when the news was announced it
26:39seems very much like it was a foregone conclusion but in the time in between they said there's going to be a
26:46competition right not a preseason game has been played there was no competition correct and I saw some people just saying stuff
26:53on twitter like oh well oh how bad must JJ McCarthy have been for there to be no competition I'm also thinking
27:00back to last season where we knew Kyler was healthy enough to play but he just totally tucked his tail between his
27:07legs and said hey if you guys are even starting to say you want to start Jacoby Brissett over me I'm not
27:14coming back right like he didn't get official word but it was very clear that I'm gonna be candid he bitched out
27:21of last season right and we said it in real time we made fun of it in real time we also spent
27:28all of last offseason saying how um Marvin Harrison had a Kyler Murray problem right so fast forward to the you know
27:35nine days of competition uh in this QB battle before a uh before a preseason game was ever played if you're following
27:42the beat reporters they were actually saying JJ McCarthy was winning now I'm not I'm not homering on JJ McCarthy right now
27:49we saw what that looked like and it wasn't good they had some promise he won some games but it wasn't good
27:56but they're saying that he was actually winning in the count was that like he won and there was like a couple
28:03practices where Kyler was way better but uh if you took it like day by day consistency like JJ was winning I
28:10was keeping very close tabs on this because I thought one of these two was going to be super mispriced and I
28:17need to be able to capitalize on it um this is all to say I think Kyler is when he plays because
28:24of the rushing uh top 12 dynasty or fantasy quarterback right he's just going to put up numbers like that no matter
28:31what win or lose he's going to put up numbers like that but if he's the same dude we saw the last
28:38couple of years in Arizona which by the way you know missed a lot of time correct I don't think he's going
28:45to hold on to this job for very long to Jax's fragility point yep uh and then I'm also thinking about this
28:52from like the Vikings front office standpoint there was probably to get Kyler to come a nod and a handshake like yeah
28:59bro you're going to be the starter right right they also couldn't throw JJ McCarthy out there have him fail again and
29:06then go to Kyler Murray who they've already pissed off right they actually have to do it in this order they have
29:13to start Kyler Murray first yes they have to let him fail and then give the chance that the dude that they
29:20drafted in what like the 13th overall pick 14th overall pick uh could come in and be the savior and if neither
29:27of them work out then they're just drafting another quarterback probably next offseason correct um so I think like from a game
29:34theory standpoint they had to play it this way yes uh I think Kyler has been very injury prone and we probably
29:42haven't seen the last of JJ McCarthy and I don't think JJ McCarthy is very good but I don't think like this
29:49is a ringing endorsement of Kyler because aside from you know what the national narrative and uh you know public perception is
29:56the boots on the ground were actually saying this was a pretty close competition it's kind of ridiculous that it was called
30:03before preseason game was played so this is like head coach GM ownership front office organization politics going on as part of
30:10the deal to get Kyler over there probably because the team was so sick of JJ that there would have been a
30:17mutiny if they didn't do something um sorry for the super long-winded answer it's a good it's a good answer but I've
30:24been paying very close attention to it and I just smell so much bullshit and like look I want Kyler to be
30:31good I think ko sees an incredible coach that can coach these quarterbacks up but oh man am I taking it with
30:38a grain of salt I don't believe the results of this I think it was rigged from beginning it's a ring and
30:45I and I also don't think Kyler I don't I mean we we said less offseason like my priors I'm sticking to
30:52my priors Kyler hasn't been good for a long time in real life in real life in fantasy he's great go ahead
30:59freaking smoke him if you got him play him if you got him right if Kyler's on your team put him in
31:06your lineup and hope for the best but I mean I'd be very willing to sell and listening to all offers on
31:13Kyler at any point between now and you know when he eventually gets hurt or gets benched no it's a good take
31:20and it dovetails off minds I appreciate it no it's good and and and does that mean now that we should be
31:27considering nine to rebuy I mean it's cheap I mean he's gonna get another chance I mean we've just seen so many
31:34of these guys resurface it's gonna be Darnold etc you know I mean you know so many yeah yeah all these guys
31:41yeah you're probably you're probably right it's gonna be pretty league specific though because I think like they're still truthers there's still
31:48people who have him on his team on the team and they're not gonna sell them for 25 cents on the dollar
31:55so I think it would be very league specific on that but yeah I mean as like a little throw in on
32:02a trade from a team who has from a team who has four that's from a team who has four of them
32:09you know what I mean then you get him in there because that guy could spare him for sure it's 100 these
32:16these are this is so important that you mention that because both of us were like Joe and I were like yes
32:23yes yes so many of these things are are just you just have to include him in the trade because if you
32:30just ask for JJ and be like yeah I'll give you a fourth nobody's gonna be like oh of course let me
32:37just sell light on JJ for no apparent reason especially in these deep dynasty leagues if you're in an FFPC style well
32:44maybe then it's a totally different you know thing where you got to cut down then I actually wouldn't even recommend going
32:51for him anyway but point of the matter is in a deep league yeah you you know I just did this recently
32:59I was trying I'm trying to acquire Terrence Ferguson which maybe we'll get to maybe we won't but my point is I
33:06love this this this buy because at his current value whatever his KTC or dynasty helper whatever whatever value is on him
33:13right now I think is going to grow so I'm happy to pay whatever the value is so I threw him into
33:20a bigger trade where I'm like this that and the other everything going which way and the other way and the thing
33:27that's one of the shit coming my way is Terrence Ferguson and if the trade is fair I feel like I'm winning
33:34because the Terrence Ferguson thing is worth more to me than it is in the trade aggregate and I would say the
33:41same thing for you know JJ who shouldn't be worth very much at all in the trade aggregate so that's exactly how
33:48you tend to buy these players is exactly the way you mentioned it yeah it's today's price versus tomorrow's value basically is
33:55what you're looking at bottom line is if you're working on a trade with somebody and they've got JJ McCarthy on their
34:02roster planning you're close just throw them in throw them into the deal see if you can get them that way yep
34:09just nine it up a little bit just nine it up okay another another thing that came out today boys Mike McDaniel
34:16announced that there's going to be a backfield split in Los Angeles for the Chargers I think you know we knew there
34:23was going to be some other guys getting carries here and there Joe you mentioned though that you had a pretty good
34:30take on this one so I'm going to flip it to you and let you opine on what your thoughts are about
34:37Mike McDaniel at the podium well Mike McDaniel just like loves I mean listen I like Mike McDaniel but it's clear he
34:44loves attention right like and he's just sitting there just um giving them a hard time he he started it by just
34:51saying is this a fantasy question sounds like a fantasy question I got bad news for fantasy owners right and then he
34:58just proceeded to say how they're going to play the hot hand and they're all going to have roles and it's going
35:05to be matchup specific and depends on who they're playing that weekend all that could be true um and I love Kamani
35:12Vidal I love him love him I think he's a very valuable dynasty asset and I want him on my teams in
35:19case Amari and Hampton gets hurt but make no mistake the more talented players Amari and Hampton and guess who's going to
35:26have the hot hand more often the more talented player all right so it's like Amari and Hampton and I think like
35:33Keaton Mitchell's sneaky because he's like probably the best comp we have to HN except for he's like way more fragile than
35:40HN has been who's been like shockingly durable but like so I think he's going to get scheme plays as one of
35:47the big playmakers because their receivers are not as speedy as what Mike McDaniel had in Miami and so he's going to
35:54be looking for that speed somewhere and Keaton Mitchell's the one that's going to be providing it but don't be stupid don't
36:01fall for this narrative if there's any sort of dip in like the Amari and Hampton value buy the rabbit buy the
36:08dip right don't pay full price but like if you if you get it for 90 cents on the dollar buy it
36:16yep yeah I'm with you I don't think we need to nothing burger yeah yeah yeah don't need to put much more
36:23on that Joe this was a good one that you tossed in there actually as a note the Browns and Dolphins released
36:30their depth charts today and it's not like these are you know fantasy fruitful organizations but there are some players specifically some
36:37rookies that were intrigued by so the Browns listed Denzel Boston and Casey Concepcion as starters alongside Jerry Judy and then on
36:44the Dolphins depth chart rookie Caleb Douglas was first above Malik Washington and Jalen Tolbert just in the order that it was
36:51listed on what I saw right so I don't know if that necessarily means anything but some rookies are going to be
36:58making some hay in Cleveland and Miami what are you making let's start with the Miami one actually Joe because we've talked
37:05about Concepcion in Boston we like them a lot and we will get there interest in Caleb Douglas though he wasn't really
37:12necessarily on the rookie radar no he wasn't at all and no I have absolutely no interest in Caleb Douglas we went
37:19over Miami's sort of passing prospects a great deal with uh our awesome guest Jacob Sanderson um sorry Jax he did just
37:26an incredible job filling in on uh but uh I bet you he didn't make one single tight gap joke not one
37:33no he did not he did not you're correct yeah he actually you know speaking of the Browns he gave us like
37:40an all-time nickname for the show in uh McLovin and Muhammad but uh but as far as Miami's concerned it's like the
37:47prospects for this passing game are so low now listen projections are in a sense kind of meaningless because things could change
37:54so quickly right but they tend to bend towards what is actually going to happen I am a bigger um Malik Willis
38:01believer than I think he is and think that he actually can get better and has gotten better and can elevate and
38:08can avoid some sacks and so there's probably somebody who's a value in this Miami passing game but it's not anybody you
38:15want to bet on consistently and like if we're talking about you know they're rookie receivers um there's only one that we're
38:22interested and it sure that sure as hell is not Caleb Douglas right no I agree I mean it's it's it's such
38:29a this is one of those things that who is the answer like who's the wide receiver one in Miami the answer
38:36is nobody right it's just nobody there is no wide receiver one there's there's just gonna be guys who catch balls and
38:43here and there and there's gonna be some spike weeks from this guy or that guy but no no player on that
38:50team is you know gonna command 25 target rate you know it's just not gonna happen in a single game of course
38:57someone's gonna get some targets but over the long haul over the course of time there's just gonna be different guys vying
39:04for playing time because none of the guys are all that good I mean I think if you really you know nerf
39:11gun to the head who's the best wide receiver on this team I'll be Malik Washington yeah and and that's not I'm
39:18not out here stumping for Malik Washington you know because I don't think that any of them are going to be that
39:25guy if there's a player and I think you alluded to it Joe if there's a player who has upside to be
39:32an actual real boy not Pinocchio I'm a real boy I'm a real boy it's probably Chris Bell but yeah it's probably
39:40not Chris Bell you know yeah it's Chris Bell it's also just Devon HN in Miami just you just want to one
39:47HN basically maybe he's peppering a little bit of Greg Dolchess from the Dulcich for my man Joe over there um but
39:54yeah it's HN HN HN HN and HN our boy your fellow Canadian uh Frank Amarante had a great tweet today though
40:01which he said yeah great I want to see what happens with HN when they're uh two and ten right are they
40:08gonna get more targets are they gonna keep throwing them out there or is he gonna get some fake injury when you
40:15need him most right that's like kind of what I'm worried about with HN uh down the stretch maybe maybe yeah that's
40:22a little sketchy it's hard to predict that and like and like draft off of that with the upside of a guy
40:29like HN though right but yeah just so our listeners know I mean Caleb Douglas he wasn't on anybody's radar and if
40:36you look at his statistical profile the way he scored in our model was basically um uh he has very little chance
40:43to even approach like five points per game on a PPR basis you know based on what his profile uh was so
40:50they can list him as a starter they can throw him out there as a starter I think it's gonna be a
40:57very dysfunctional passing game early on and they're gonna rotate through those guys uh until they find dudes that can get over
41:04consistently like it's one thing to look good before a preseason game has been played and it's another thing once the bullets
41:11start flying Chris Bell fell just short of that 70 line right you know he was a 67 which is next to
41:18Concepcion and you know other players Rashad Bateman and you know Traylon Burks and Jaden Reed uh you know players like that
41:25um so he's in that area where it's like hey could be good Josh Downs felt falls in that sort of range
41:32um you know so look man he could be good they are all by the way behind Dejon Stribbling though Stribbling starting
41:39to make things out baby yep my Stribbling just fell out I was doing the show and I felt terrible about it
41:46because I don't have any Stribblings let's just give it away of course Stribblings score is a very nice number yeah nice
41:53so nice real quick note that I saw on that Dolphins depth chart though to monitor Jalen Wright was lifted listed over
42:00Ollie Gordon as the backup yes with that shocking with that shocking durability you mentioned for Devon HN comes you know the
42:07worry that he might get hurt because he does have that smaller body so um those guys as bigger bodies could get
42:14some spell looks potentially throughout the season because the skill position players are so depleted as well as if Devon HN goes
42:21down like those guys are in line for some work for sure Jack's Joe and I talked to Jacob pretty extensively about
42:28the Browns which is where the McLovin versus Muhammad comment came from with the positive reports on Denzel and KC like what
42:35are you thinking well I'm thinking that Joe made such an egregious trade in a $250 Dynasty League buy-in league where he
42:42traded what was it Naylor and Jordan Mason and Mason yep yep or straight up for Denzel Boston it had me so
42:49triggered I was so pissed off I might be you know oh my god I'm in that literally was mad twitter was
42:57mad people were calling me a liar people yeah and then and then I said it was a two you know 250
43:04league or whatever they're like well you know I don't know whatever it's like it is what it is man I mean
43:11you know the the amount of money I will say does not uh make the players better or worse or the decisions
43:18better or worse as a matter of fact yeah no it's just people are people you know um in any event you
43:25know that the guy who made that trade had actually won the league in the past I mean the team is not
43:32good anymore look I'm not you know value judgment on him uh but the fact of the matter is is that that's
43:39the type of stuff that can happen with with you know in this time of year it's crazy because Mason's got a
43:46lot of heat right now people are just talking about what a great fit he is for this new offense and this
43:53guy had Aaron Jones so I'm like hey listen everyone's saying Aaron Jones is washed why don't you go get the actual
44:00starter you need another running back and like that was compelling enough him plus Naylor who's starting on the Raiders like whoa
44:07I can fill a roster spot with Naylor and sure enough like we got this is a deep league too uh deep
44:14starting roster so I mean right Naylor could play it's possible that Naylor plays on a lot of teams in this league
44:21so that doesn't defend the trade it just makes it make sense to the other uh manager which is somehow how Joe
44:28swindled him into this deal but uh I would definitely be paying that price I'll just let you know comfortably paying Jordan
44:35Mason and whatever Naylor uh first name is uh Jalen I know it's I'm trolling but yeah no I'm in on both
44:42these guys I think you know look Denzel Boston does have a better you know model score he's definitely winning the preseason
44:49and look one we said it one of these guys is going to be good one of them might not be both
44:56of them might be good both of them might not be but it's a coin flip on both of them and it's
45:03worth taking a shot um it sounds like if they're gonna play that you're gonna have enough of a runway to get
45:10off them even if you have signal that maybe that's not quite what you signed up for um but yeah I'd be
45:17I'd be all in on making this uh a deal for either one of these guys right now it's actually a super
45:24interesting dichotomy I remember on draft day like day two how upset we all were that like actually day two and day
45:31three throughout the course of draft right you know Jacoby Lane and Elijah Surratt ended up on the same team and then
45:38you got Denzel Boston and Casey Concepcion on the same team and these are four guys that scored really well in our
45:45model and what was like a pretty meh very average uh stowers and stowers and lemon yes low pass volume team keeper
45:52and Sadiq yeah I'm talking about particularly particularly about like the wide receiver position it pertains to our model it's like it's
45:59like dang dude did like two of our top 10 guys just got nuked by like two of our other top 10
46:06guys because of being drafted by the same team so maybe the Ravens maybe the Ravens bought the model do we check
46:14that I mean I think they might have I think they might have it's very similar to us they played it perfectly
46:21too by the way yeah okay boys we're gonna keep a roll in here um talking about a wide receiver that we
46:28have a long history of just piling steamy on Matthew Golden is getting very positive reports out of Packers camp boys and
46:35I think we need to take note at this point we really need to take note because if he's playing it from
46:42reports that I see is he is playing the x with Christian Watson at the zed see what I did there um
46:49and that's a fairly lucrative role when you consider that Dontavian Wicks is not in the picture um and they've kind of
46:56cleared up that death chart a little bit so is there any tune tunes changing jacks on Matthew Golden considering some of
47:03this news um not that you're going out and actively trading for him but are you even maybe like monitoring the situation
47:10a little bit more are you still out skis I think I'll be the fourth player uh on the team in terms
47:17of target rate behind Watson Reed and Kraft yeah what do you think I think that's really hard for Reed to do
47:24if Reed is not making sure yeah per route yeah I guess so but I but but if Reed is on the
47:31field for only one 12 plus personnel snap again like he was last year I think he's going to be on the
47:38field and only basically 11 personnel I'm with you um right I'm just saying even if his target rate is higher even
47:45if his targets per route run are higher Matthew Golden can have like a 0.19 targets per route run and Jaden Reed
47:52can have a 0.24 targets per route run and Matthew Golden's still probably going to out target him if he's playing the
47:59x in 12 personnel sets right and probably out produces them though right so that's kind of he's not going to get
48:06rushing attempts he's not no but I don't think jail I don't think maybe 15 a year right I don't know if
48:13that closes that gap for me though maybe if he scores three or four touchdowns that way which he did he's dynamic
48:20with the ball in his hands and so yeah the rushing yards I'm not saying I'm just saying like if he can
48:27find the end zone I also think if he's playing x I would also go so far as to say he'll have
48:34the fourth best catch rate on the team too you know I just don't think he's going to be the most you
48:41know efficient I don't think he's going to get the most volume and we are not even sure if he's any good
48:48like yeah I mean he's got to be really really good to to sort of elevate past all these guys and become
48:55some sort of an alpha yeah he might have some utility I look I was singing his praises last year remember I
49:02was like are we buying low on Matthew Golden uh yeah but I'm not buying high I'm not buying high no no
49:09no for sure for sure there'll be another rebuy opportunity when he goes you know two targets one catch you know it's
49:16just gonna happen I just guarantee it it's the x receiver you know he's look he could come out and have those
49:23big games too I mean this is a very poor man's uh Jamison Williams right that's the way I look at it
49:30yeah um my take on him I mean listen in college as a prospect he hit a couple of the benchmarks that
49:38we're looking for but our argument if we just rewind a year our argument against Matthew Golden back then was this guy's
49:45not a first round talent right this is a second or third round pick even in this year's class if he were
49:52in this year's class I'd be saying this is a second round pick right and this is a significantly worse class you
49:59know at the top and maybe in the aggregate um so like that's the thing and I think this is kind of
50:06being forced down our throat because he was a first round pick and because he picked up so much steam and because
50:13he ran that fake 429 at the combine uh that you know I'm just stating that as fact um yeah exactly right
50:20yeah it's totally all conspiracy theories are true yeah that was rigged too the 40 was rigged yeah um but the thing
50:27the thing about Golden like more like a 37 and a half of my am I right I mean in dynasty startups
50:34he's going around the 10th round if I'm not mistaken Trav you and I were looking at this earlier 10 10 I
50:41think yeah so Watson's going like eighth Golden's going like 10th and Reed's going like 12th Reed's dynasty value is the lowest
50:48um I think you're like Watson I think showed us some awesome stuff last year but it's kind of the same thing
50:55with like Parker Washington right I was like how much are we buying this or Michael Wilson's like how much are we
51:02buying this like very late breakout we usually see it sooner than it's like how much do we believe it I think
51:09they want him to be the guy I also think he's really good and injuries kind of derailed him early yeah but
51:16I agree I think Reed is the smartest play here if he's the cheapest and if there's a buying opportunity on Reed
51:23here's why like again they've gotten rid of all the secondary and tertiary target earners on this team in terms of rotations
51:30like the bell the bow meltons and the don'tavian wixes right so now it's like well yeah and dubs sorry I forgot
51:37about like one of the more important ones in terms of soaking up routes um yeah so Reed is kind of like
51:44the arbitrage play and it's not like you know Watson has been a model of health so he kind of turns into
51:51Sean Tucker of wide receivers where it's like if there's if this dude's on the field he actually we know he will
51:58get targeted because he's always gotten targeted right he's inexplicably not playing in two wide receiver sets so it appears right now
52:05but we know that when he does play he does get targets so why not take the cheapest guy who when there's
52:12an injury in front of him whether it's golden or Watson like he's gonna play and you're gonna know when to start
52:19him in the rest of the time like you know it's a yolo shot uh it has a big play or not
52:26just keep him on your bench and just wait for the right weeks to get solid starts out of him yeah and
52:33I do like Christian Watson a fair bit to be the sort of alpha on this team but I agree with you
52:40uh value wise that Jaden Reed is probably the best value play although I think all of them will you know look
52:47I think they all could could use an injury you know what I mean um you know because it's really it's Tucker
52:55Craft yeah also there right that's the other thing it's not like oh yeah there's no tight end there's literally another target
53:02earner on that team yeah as well as even the you know the running backs are not necessarily target earners but I
53:09mean Jacobs is a real dude you know what I mean he's he's definitely going to command opportunity um you know so
53:16it's a very interesting spot I think they're going to be a good offense I think there's going to be weeks where
53:23any one of them is going to go off but hard to tell which one and if you're betting it's just like
53:30Christian Watson first Trev I know you're wanting to play host here but I think we should just pivot right into Josh
53:37Jacobs because yeah do it I think this actually speaks to the receiving volume on this team they have wanted to run
53:44um to an annoying degree uh the last few years because they've had Josh Jacobs and he's kind of like catnip for
53:51a coach you know the success rate is going to be high you know he's going to like kind of keep the
53:58train on the tracks yes uh he's missing the next week of practice which whatever again no big deal in August especially
54:05for a veteran like him it's not like he needs the reps um but you know Schefter reported again today he might
54:12be one of these dudes that faces a suspension because of the um domestic violence thing that he got slapped with earlier
54:19this off season and like I think we assessed at the time like it usually takes a year but anyways there's that
54:26cloud hanging over him in addition to the injury concerns in addition to the fact that he faded down the stretch last
54:33year in addition to the fact that Marshawn Lloyd is looking healthy finally for the first time in his NFL career you
54:40didn't want to talk about Jacobs you did not want to talk about Josh Jacobs at all you use that as a
54:47trap I know you want to play host but here's here's my ploy to get to Marshawn Lloyd I know I didn't
54:54want to get to Marshawn Lloyd in that sense I really didn't here's my point the right way to go Joe if
55:01Josh Jacobs is out I think it's fair to assume that their uh pass rate over expected will increase yes I think
55:08that they will not trust Marshawn Lloyd first of all Marshawn Lloyd's also a pretty dope receiver but I think they will
55:15not trust Marshawn Lloyd in the way that they trust Jacobs and there's probably going to be more pass attempts here than
55:22we've seen in Green Bay the last few years so that was actually the larger point I wanted to make it was
55:29a really long-winded roundabout way to get there no but I think the answer was going back to what I said everybody
55:36kind of needs an injury on this team for it to all change right because the way it is now is it's
55:43just too much going all over the place which is going to be good for the team like the team will be
55:50good you know it's like but nobody will be like oh yeah you can really count on him to come through for
55:57you on this team it's gonna be a little bit muted because of the you know quote-unquote too many mouths to feed
56:04but you take one of those any of those guys out of the equation and all of a sudden everything kind of
56:12changes even if it's Jaden Reed who doesn't play every down it's like well wait a minute you know if we're not
56:19going to have this sort of slot guy that comes in and really commands targets well then Watson and Golden are getting
56:26more targets Kraft's gonna get more targets running the slot whatever right they sort of cannibalize each other all sort of triangulated
56:33around one another so kind of interesting yeah it's actually a interesting point as you're talking I was just thinking it's like
56:40this is actually the ultimate get the cheapest guy at every position team it's like get Jaden Reed get Marshawn Lloyd because
56:47if there's an injury you know the opportunity is going to be there and we still think the offense is going to
56:54be pretty good and all of a sudden it's going to get a lot more consolidated if there are injuries that either
57:01the receiver or running back position so just go get the backups go get the cheapest players and does that include tarod
57:08taylor i'm just asking for a friend maybe i mean add them to a deep dynasty why not we stack quarterbacks baby
57:15yes um my only counter to that is that i am definitely in on chris and christian watson as well jacks because
57:22the upside is so massive on this guy we got to remember that green bay has been a factory of wide receiver
57:29production like probably one of the top five teams in wide receiver fantasy points scored over the last few years with with
57:36lafleur um so i think there's going to be some stuff to be had but joey you mentioned marshawn lloyd and i
57:43was just bugging buddy it was right to move from jacobs to lloyd we had lloyd on the show sheet just for
57:50a peek behind the fourth wall and we're going to actually stick with a couple of these running backs because we're going
57:57to start rapid firing a little bit yeah we can go rapid fire but are well like chris brooks was getting some
58:04work for sure last year and he was pretty reliable in that situation to me what it seems like though is that
58:11they want to see what they have in marshawn lloyd he has been on that team for a couple of seasons and
58:18they've seen like a snippet of the guy and so i think he's going to get every chance to be completely hold
58:25on i just got an alert marshawn lloyd pulled the hamstring that was rude that was mean um okay you're gonna get
58:32perked up on this one jacks don't you fucking worry buddy all right johnathan brooks for the panthers fully cleared unrestricted quick
58:39and decisive they're saying he's taking first team reps looks like maybe an early committee with chuba like we kind of expected
58:46um but we think he probably pulls away as the more dynamic and explosive running back kills me a little bit inside
58:53to say that because chuba is a canadian boy and i will always have love in my heart for him but jonathan
59:00brooks provided he can stay healthy looks like this could be the year jacks absolutely i mean look i'm a chuba hubbard
59:07fan too i you know okay state uh the whole thing man he was he was so cool he came out a
59:14year late he was uh he should have come out after his junior year and then he stayed that extra year had
59:21a bad senior season uh you know got fell in the draft i mean everything for chuba just never went the way
59:28that you would have hoped it had gone all that to say i also saw a cool little snippet um i don't
59:36know who i'm crediting here it just came across my timeline it was a explosive run rate type of research it was
59:43uh basically the yards per carry on on on uh carries where you weren't contacted until you had crossed at least one
59:50yard past the line of scrimmage so basically you kind of were free remember that i'm gonna need the abbreviation for that
59:57stat yeah exactly right yipko but the point was devon a chan was great by the way the other back that was
60:04pretty good on that was amarian hampton which is i almost referenced it for the amarian hampton segment but one of the
60:11worst in the nfl chuba hubbard and you know so look i don't think maybe that's small sample who not judging him
60:18on that one stat but i was just it made me think yet another sort of uh data point for the jonathan
60:25brooks bags that i am literally lugging around with me uh for two years now just waiting for them to come to
60:32roost but here's the good thing jonathan brooks still like 22 years old he's like 23 i think he just turned 23
60:39super young player uh still has a lot of runway and from he's three years younger than rj harvey i mean it
60:46is crazy you know been in the league for years uh just just awesome so look i really loved jonathan brooks he
60:53was the rb1 in that class as far as i'm concerned as a prospect um you know when travion finally decided that
61:00he was not coming out that year which he probably should have but we wouldn't have him anyway but jonathan brooks still
61:07an elite prospect from his college days the injuries who knows what has changed but if he's healthy i'm all in on
61:14jonathan brooks and i think he does rassle away that job from chuba hubbard and and returns massive value potentially especially in
61:21an offense that's coming along a little bit eh yeah yeah and not only that but because brazil got hurt and because
61:28it seems like they've realized like get in it um the element that he brings as a pass catcher cannot be overstated
61:35right it's like i think that there's a legitimate case to be made here that he's the third most important like he
61:42could be third on this team in targets yes possible yeah and so like that's what we're looking for the explosive guy
61:49who also catches passes who also doesn't have um a ton of other superstars there's you know one and a half superstars
61:56in front of him in the pecking order and he could easily become number two on that list if not number one
62:03with a good showing and a clean bill of health and like god willing some luck so yeah uh everybody who waited
62:10on jonathan brooks good job anybody everybody who bought low on jonathan brooks like you're sitting pretty right now i guess my
62:17question you guys is like at what point do we consider selling him because this has crossed my mind it's like all
62:24right um the the the stock is going in the other direction now i've you know survived the bear market and now
62:31we're entering the bull market with jonathan brooks do i just sit here and profit and just stay and pray yeah well
62:38obviously not yet not yet we're gonna we're gonna get some wins out of this dude um but with a double acl
62:45profile it does cross my mind it's like the shelf life on running backs like that is lower it's gonna depend on
62:53how he looks and you know the reality is when you've got a really dope running back that you got for cheap
63:00that's like the best thing that can happen to you in fantasy football so yeah for sure for sure i think if
63:07you're a drafter and he does well early season i could start seeing myself putting those feelers out if i'm deep at
63:14running back um to see what i might be able to net out of jonathan brooks um but yeah if you got
63:21him cheap i think you let the run out run out but if you drafted him in the draft and paid you
63:28know probably running back one in that class if i recall which was probably late first anyway it was like 106 to
63:35109 was it was it okay yeah yeah so um i think at that point you could start maybe looking at the
63:42production profit off of him having a good early season is what let me let me give you guys a couple of
63:49trades that i just pulled up off otc ffb small little uh website you might have heard of um listen jonathan brooks
63:56or 27 second jonathan brooks i think brooks probably jonathan brooks quentin johnston brooks not close jonathan brooks uh and a 28
64:03third for jordan addison jonathan brooks and a 20th in the third 23rd yep uh this one may change uh this is
64:10pretty crazy price jonathan brooks and jadarian price for jordan tyson and a 27 first whoo that's such a good trade holy
64:17shit i mean jordan tyson 27 first that has to be a rebuilding team trading to trading to a contender for two
64:24i think i think that's a win-win because i think the receiving end of brooks is a contender looking for his running
64:31backs to take him over the top and the guy getting tyson the first is like thinking i need to you know
64:38build from the ground up here yeah those are young running backs too though like that's nice yeah it's a big boy
64:45trade so i think that's about it for these sort of solo one jonathan brooks 27 second oh jonathan brooks or basial
64:52tootin basial tootin that's definitely basial tootin for me i think i think it's tootin as well but i think it's closer
64:59than i mean i think it's not for me razor thin i mean from a dynasty asset standpoint i kind of think
65:06that it's tootin but if we're just talking about like redraft i think it's really close i know this is dynasty redraft
65:13it's close closer than dynasty yeah because i trust tootin more as a dynasty asset even though the pedigree is a lot
65:20lower the injury history is also a lot less as well so this is that's where i'm this is a good one
65:27listen this one this is actually this is this one's actionable i like this one jonathan brooks for terry mclaurin it's pretty
65:34clear what each team's doing there but giving brooks probably yeah but it's just a good way to get brooks right like
65:41if you need you know maybe you've got you know a bunch of other wide receivers terry mclaurin's a bit duplicitous you
65:48know jonathan brooks can start in your rb2 slot terry mclaurin can't you know you know what i mean so i mean
65:55if you're if you're running back thirsty i think selling a you know a mike evans uh terry mclaurin straight up kind
66:02of an interesting way to go about it i don't yeah the guy who's worth like a second and a half right
66:10yeah from jonathan brooks because that's where we're at right it's like a late a late 27 first early 27 second right
66:17if it's a random 27 second my answer is no but if you could tell me it's the 201 probably maybe yeah
66:24right yeah right yeah i think it probably would 27 is kind of where i'm at yep so jacks i just can't
66:31move on without giving you a shout out for the word duplicitous that was very nice that was probably the vocab word
66:38of the show so far um but speaking of whatever well i mean yeah yeah totally that's a guy that's a word
66:45of every show um speaking of duplicitous we have some really good reports out of tennessee titans camp on elec iam and
66:52or my concern is that carnell tate was duplicitous to what elec iam and or was supposed to provide for this team
66:59but with him looking from what they're saying as a standout in training camp looking like a stud winning contested catches improved
67:06body and aggression in year two is what the reports say are we like kind of thinking that he could operate alongside
67:13carnell tate guys or would it have to be kind of a perfect storm for elec joe i'm actually going to go
67:20to you because you were the first one who put me on to him in the draft season as somebody who liked
67:27him um so why don't you talk about what your feelings are there i'm going to channel my inner sigmund bloom here
67:34if you go with me on this journey if you had to tell the story of how elec iam and or came
67:41to prominence this is exactly what it would look like this was a canadian kid who transferred you know who who came
67:48to the us to play football didn't get much play time in his first season at stanford then like really came on
67:55showed flashes of incredible athleticism a willingness to block like all the tools that you would want but just raw right then
68:02you fast forward to his rookie season in the nfl he fell further in the draft than you would have thought but
68:09there was talks about him as potentially a first round pick so people saw the potential uh then he gets into the
68:16league he's on a terrible team with a terrible offense whose coach gets fired whatever five games into the season or whatever
68:23it was uh and they were just a little bit lost out there but he's out there still trying doesn't even look
68:30like the best rookie receiver on his team but now we're in year two now he's got another year under his belt
68:37uh he has a coaching staff that's going to appreciate a wide receiver that's a willing blocker alongside like the alpha that
68:44they just drafted um and he's still got all these amazing traits just with a year of experience under his belt he
68:51was never going to be an amazing rookie but he showed flashes even then just like he did at stanford right so
68:58he's i think shown us enough go back to college right his targets per route run was 0.24 uh his yards per
69:05out one route run was point uh 2.1 those are good numbers that's what elite prospects look like in those two categories
69:12he's 210 pounds he's 6'2 like and he's got some versatility where he can allow tate to not be the sacrificial act
69:19guess what he can play x he can also play z so now there's some interchangeability with run game advantages by having
69:26a guy like him on the field you know and a defensive-minded coach that's gonna appreciate the hell out of that and
69:34you know dayball who i think is probably also gonna like a player like that just the story for i am anor's
69:41rise to prominence is kind of was always written this way and he's kind of checking the boxes all along the way
69:48yeah i'll also say like he he was he ran the most routes on that team as a wide receiver over 500
69:55you know it was supposed to be calvin ridley he ended up running 160 routes or something like that like he didn't
70:02play like it was you know i think an unfair amount of you know responsibility is probably the right word fell on
70:09elec iaman or in year one from a guy that probably needed some seasoning to begin with like he he did not
70:16land perfectly rookie quarterback it you know bad coaching situation the whole thing bad team right like so nothing was really going
70:23in his favor but yeah i mean you know a lot of people will say dk or whatever his name shamir dk
70:30played better but look he out targeted him he sorry what did you say what did you say your what your dyke
70:37thank you thank you forgot his name get it right sorry boys this is this is an embarrassing moment i apologize uh
70:44but dyke only had 8.8 yards per reception judgment there yeah yeah yeah totally small gap uh but you know i'm an
70:51or was you know not good but somewhat better than dk or dyke or whatever his name is um you know i
70:58just think that you know at the end of the day if they're gonna improve the team then maybe he can be
71:05you know part of that and i think having carnell tate on the other side now you look at it it's actually
71:12i don't know how many targets he can earn but now you have wandale in the slot him on one side tate
71:19on the other that's kind of like okay now it's like it's nice you know he can be sort of a michael
71:26wilson type in this offense if you will right yeah the titans offense is a big time like sleeper cell here like
71:33nobody is expecting them nobody is projecting them to be good and this obviously all hinges on like cam ward's progression but
71:40correct they got a young running back we like they've got you know dyke is your fourth wide receiver in the event
71:47that somebody gets hurt like at any position on that in that wide receiver room like they can shift guys around right
71:54i am in order to become the x wandale have proved last year that he could play you know uh a little
72:01bit more flanker and then he put dk in dyke in the slot um like there's just a lot of versatility in
72:08that receiver room they were a year away last year now it's kind of come together nicely they've got a veteran a
72:15couple veteran running backs and a really exciting rookie they've got the most underrated underrated tight end in the league uh it's
72:22kind of i was waiting for it i was waiting for it so i thought it was brenton strange it actually kind
72:29of like this whole conversation kind of kills my thesis um on my man gunner helm because there's actually a lot of
72:36target earners on the scene now and if iron man is out there like i don't know like the thesis on helm
72:43kind of struggles a little bit so i i'm um putting this out there into the universe at my own great expense
72:51but i disagree yeah go i disagree i think i think gunner helm is the second target behind carnell tate this season
72:58i think i just think it's wandale for sure okay story yeah wandale guys can i tell you i keep forgetting about
73:05wandale on the time for some reason like i just am forgetting that he is 140 targets you're right i mean this
73:12you're right yes in the same office the only guy that knows it's gonna be tate wandale helm in my opinion you
73:19can think it's the other way i don't think it's like that that's fine but i think what i'm saying that's fine
73:26that's what i'm saying you can think it's that way and that's fine um but i think helm is the third target
73:33and i think that will provide us some productive games among the tight end landscape so i think that's totally fine on
73:40this team that probably is going to be playing from behind probably is going to be throwing the ball their pass rate
73:47over expectations probably can be pretty good and i've kind of been kind of like loosely in on this offense because i
73:54like tate because i like the prospects of year two cam ward for the price that he's going at i've been a
74:01little bit in on it so i like dayball i'm gonna go ahead and call it right here dayball is gonna be
74:08the next head coach of the titans yeah he's just gonna he's just gonna usurp sala yeah i think that's what's happening
74:15it makes sense for the development of these young quarterbacks for these teams to just do it it's like a bit of
74:22a nasty move but whatever just do it i think that's why he went to the titans yeah that's probably a smart
74:29movie yeah bob sal is not getting this done i'll take that okay boys we got a couple more and then we
74:36got to rip out of here pat bryant we cannot not talk about him he's getting steam all the way up to
74:43the point that people are saying by mid-season he could take over for courtland sutton is the outside x receiver in denver
74:50i don't think that's gonna happen i think pat bryant a he's coming off a nasty injury at the end of last
74:57season um he wasn't a massive draft pick we did see some talent in him but i think he's gonna need a
75:04little bit longer that than that for us to see a full takeover please jump in if you feel differently i mean
75:11just the end is near for sutton we know that dudes that play his style um don't last long and frankly he's
75:18lasted longer than i thought he would um i'm not gonna sit here and pretend that i was a pat bryant guy
75:25uh as a prospect i thought he was a 50 50 guy and i think he overtook franklin last year obviously the
75:32the addition of wandale probably makes this all i'm sorry not wandale waddle probably makes this all a moot point anyway um
75:39because i don't think there's gonna be like a second receiver you can count on in a sean payton offense but in
75:46terms of like snap rate like i don't know i think he's gonna lead the other three guys being franklin and mims
75:53uh i think he's gonna be ahead of them based on everything that we're hearing i think he's gonna be ahead of
76:00them and if he overtakes sutton um i don't know i like i'm not i can't make this a ringing endorsement i
76:08just think he's like meh but it's interesting i don't think for redraft i don't think he's playable and for dynasty i
76:15think um he's just a flex guy and i think that's all he'll ever be so i like that's where i'm at
76:22sorry for the lukewarm no no that's kind of where i am it was warranted because this is one of the ones
76:29where we see all that hype and we don't need to get too too hyped about it just yet we gotta let
76:36that one ride out it's not like his price is gonna spike where if we didn't like to the point where if
76:43we want to have them it's out of hand for us to get them so um yeah i think i'm just waiting
76:50on that one don't count on more than one sean payton wide receiver there's like one time ever where this happened and
76:57it was like who was it was brian thomas and brandon cooks on the same team actually michael michael thomas yeah i'm
77:04sorry you you know what i meant but you're right yeah thomas and brandon cooks on the same team like that's the
77:11only time they ever had like two fantasy relevant wide receivers in the same season yeah and he likes versatility too so
77:18i could see bryant and franklin to be honest rotating in and out different things he wants to do maybe mims but
77:25um especially like in 11 personnel i think bryant and franklin are going to be put out there to do specific things
77:32um infuriating room by the way oh yeah gnarly i'm i'm pretty in i'm pretty in on waddle though i like wars
77:39yeah yeah he's gonna be sick there um okay so we got a couple more left okay we're gonna go with jacoby
77:46lane to start because i i'm not claiming travel is right yet um but they've got jameson henley beat reporter for the
77:53baltimore ravens saying that in the 27 years he's been covering the ravens he's never seen a rookie have as good a
78:00camp as jacoby lane is having i've told you guys all along that i think there is a real role that is
78:07waiting to be taken up by a guy like jacoby lane and that's why i've been on team lane over surat because
78:14the fit i think is better i'm still staying in that camp i think what this tells me is that you know
78:21maybe the upside in year one for jacoby lane is a little bit bigger than i thought it might have been because
78:28i thought he was a little bit of a long play but um how are you guys because you guys were more
78:35in team surat kind of a cheapy question because surat's been banged up so obviously we know that lane has a leg
78:42up um but changing our stance at all jacks or what look i was prepared to draft ungodly amounts of elijah surat
78:49and jacoby lane in our rookie drafts if they had been drafted in the top 60 to 65 hopefully in the top
78:5650 nfl picks and not on the same low volume passing offense and so the low volume passing offense definitely threw me
79:03off them going together felt like you know a real trap like where you had to almost get them both in order
79:10to get one because you probably weren't going to get them both if you drafted one of them um but i gotta
79:17go back and say the part of the reason that i was so excited was because of their otc score these were
79:24the wide receivers two and three in our score that doesn't mean they were our second and third wide receivers on in
79:32our rankings obviously um but when they scored that high it was enough for us to pay attention uh it doesn't mean
79:39that they're automatically good that's not how models work but i will say pretty much every single player you know with a
79:46score above these guys has been dope at least at one point in time or another the only one who really wasn't
79:53and even troy franklin is the one i'm going to say he still had 100 targets last year i mean so there
80:00at least he's somewhat of a hit uh but every other player is just an absolute stud all the way up the
80:07list so elijah surat and jacoby lane you know it's just a i'm not surprised to hear that either one of them
80:14is playing well based off of that one lone data point so yeah i'm in but i don't know how much we
80:21can expect from either one of them in the offense behind zay flowers and mark andrews and lamar and derrick henry right
80:28i think my take is this and i think i mentioned this probably around draft season but i always viewed surat as
80:35like weirdly the mark andrews target replacement in this offense i just thought he was gonna be the new you know blankie
80:42for lamar uh as as uh mark andrews becomes less viable as a receiving weapon where he's still going to get to
80:49the spot but he's not really adding much anymore even though he did clock 20 miles per hour on like his biggest
80:56play of the season last year so it's like he's not completely washed but we just we're seeing far less glimpses of
81:03it with andrews um these guys were 0.11 apart in our otc score like that's how close it was and in retrospect
81:10it's like okay if they're that close take the guy with the better draft capital and so it's like jacoby lane probably
81:17was the pick over surat uh i think we had a little bit of anchoring bias to surat because he was actually
81:24ranked higher until his draft capital came back so low because we got this negative regressor in built into our model which
81:31is if you don't have good draft capital your score comes down but so we always like knew he was an interesting
81:38prospect analytically and i think we anchored to him a little bit so i ended up with more surat than i did
81:45with lane because of that but there are actually two different teams where i just took both of them you know like
81:52let's just see where the chips fall where they may and i actually have a team where i got conception in boston
81:59to our earlier conversation just because like i don't know which one's going to be good or great but i think one
82:06of them is going to be um it's still early in camp the book is not written yet i think you still
82:13kind of want both of these guys uh in that offense they've been begging for another receiver you know rashad bateman is
82:20an inconvenient truth on that team he's a guy that they've liked for a long time as well obviously this is new
82:27staff you know he is probably you know to trab's point um about dj more last year right it's like it's clear
82:34rashad bateman is not long for this team he's probably on his way out after this season right um i think one
82:41of these guys is going to emerge as the starter alongside the dude with the new fresh contract tracked in uh and
82:49then we'll we'll you know we'll see how it goes from there but um you know this jacoby lane situation feels like
82:56they wanted a player like this when they went after d hop right and of course he was toast he was just
83:03too old and not able to really do the thing that he needs to do all winter jump all winter right he
83:10was not actually able to jump any longer because he's just too old but now jacoby lane is fresh and athletic and
83:17can do all the things that conceivably today's deandre hopkins could do if he were healthy and young right but um so
83:24i think that's what they were searching for and i think that's the role that they picked jacoby lane to fill yeah
83:31yeah roth the back shoulder guy and the win inside guy yep there's a world where they both succeed but they cap
83:38each other's upside for sure for sure for sure they they are very different like sarat is going to give you dirty
83:45production and jacoby lane is going to give you pretty production you know like it's going to be beautiful yeah yes sparkling
83:52yes and it'll be on tick tock the next spangled um okay jackson i got two sides of the spectrum for you
83:59so we're gonna finish on the happy one and start with one that's not looking so positive right now and that would
84:06be omar cooper jr we had reports today we had reports today from rich cimini or camini whatever you want to call
84:13him um that there is a chance that isaiah williams chimini chimini okay wow it's a ch it's not even a sir
84:20or a cut i got both of those right wow i'm just assuming it's italian and it would be ch but anyway
84:27okay yeah we'll have to ask rich um but anyway omar cooper it says that there is potential that isaiah williams who
84:34i don't even know when he was drafted or where he was drafted but he has the potential to pass omar cooper
84:41on the depth chart now super early omar cooper was a first round pick so he's going to get some benefits of
84:48the doubt um we were already a little bit worried about season one though for omar cooper to be honest boys with
84:55the drafting of sadiq with what that offense looks like and the potential for it to actually be able to feed two
85:02pass catchers um i think i'm still in that camp i think we're probably still a little bit concerned but is there
85:09a dip to maybe be had in the fact that omar cooper is probably going to have a slow start this year
85:16joe uh probably i mean it's the jets so like he could absolutely like this is a place where you don't want
85:23your guys going and he could absolutely turn to dust but you know garrett wilson obviously has risen above that and he's
85:30just been a perennial we know this guy's good if only things were better around him type of player right where it's
85:37like you know um so i don't know cooper absolutely fills a role for them um theoretically but the fact that he's
85:44not yeah the fact that he's getting out shined by an undrafted second year player is candidly a red flag um and
85:51this is coming from a guy that drafted a lot of omar cooper um i think we what i'm hoping the best
85:58case scenario here is we all know where this thing's going this coaching staff is getting fired they're drafting a quarterback next
86:06year and in that new offense there's a plan for omar cooper right he was never uh he's gonna save you this
86:13year type of player he was a bet on talent a bet on role a bet on fit with the pieces that
86:20we know are in place on the jets and just you know make a mental note like don't sell low wait and
86:27see what happens in year two because it's probably at this point like the writing's on the wall it's not happening in
86:34year one i agree yeah i agree i mean i don't have much to add because of course i'm yeah way too
86:41overly invested in omar cooper i and i'm not even the the good thing about my uh over weight cooper is that
86:48i didn't push ever i never push for him i i literally would have sold every one of the first round picks
86:55i took him with it's like 90 10 you're getting them like 109 10 if you couldn't move out earliest yeah yeah
87:02early so for me it was always just like all right i guess i'll take cooper here i mean you know what
87:09the hell you want me to do about it um so and you know so it is what it is um you
87:16know we'll see obviously if i if he craps out it's it's a little bit painful just because of the weight but
87:23not the investment um i do think though to you know joe's football point that it's early this coaching staff does suck
87:30balls um there is you know some dysfunction here you know organizationally for years hopefully there's something of a course correct with
87:37a new coach new quarterback next year that actually fixes things right now it's you know 80 mitchell's actually a stinky little
87:44play right now i mean he's gonna be all right he's definitely gonna be out there making some plays he looked good
87:51last year he's you know not a terrible football player and and definitely uh you know pretty prolific when he does make
87:58plays so yeah i mean as of right now cooper's just gotta fight for that slot role and i think he wins
88:05that if he doesn't win that that's damning if he can't yeah isaiah whatever his name is then he's got big problems
88:12for sure for sure for sure that's a big problem look if if somehow or another they slow him and they just
88:19like don't want to rush him in and then he eventually takes it i'm okay with that that's normal that's just you
88:26know life in the big in the big city you know life in the big city it's true though it's fucking hard
88:33this is the last one and i'm glad you're sitting and i really hope you're not wearing jeans right now buddy because
88:40loose loose loose pants eli raradon oh is reportedly settling in fast as a receiving threat in patriots camp yes he is
88:47they're saying he's had multiple catches and red zone touchdowns lately vince mcmahon gasming gift yeah and he has a clear path
88:54to tight end two snaps behind hunter henry that's everything we wanted to see and probably more than we thought we were
89:01going to see by this point too because he's a pretty raw prospect lots of athleticism needed some polish when they say
89:08he's settling in fast and he's catching red zone touchdowns oh baby let's go yeah i mean uh you know this is
89:15great um you know yeah we win uh but we win you know probably with a bunch of these tight ends maybe
89:22oscar delp and you know some of these other guys that we were taking i mean we were definitely mentioning this is
89:30what you want to do instead of taking the antonio williams is and the i took these guys even you know ahead
89:37of striblings and things like that i mean look maybe one of these wide receivers you know all these probably maybe one
89:44of them pans out but i think you you get more value if you can get one of these tight ends to
89:51pan out i just kind of like this group of tight ends in general raritan was my favorite uh especially after the
89:58you know get him in the third fourth round consistently you know i mean you know we certainly uh steamed him up
90:05early um you know i took him in our mock draft when nobody knew his name as a matter of fact he
90:12wasn't even in the database he wasn't that's great you had to put like burke bork urcher in there instead for me
90:19yeah um so yeah that was great he wasn't even in the sleeper database and we were pushing him in there so
90:26you know yeah it's been you know we're sort of early adopters on this raritan stock so um i wish we could
90:33make more money because of that but no it still just spends the same way i just think it's good it's a
90:40good spot you know hunter henry is how many more years is he going to be the productive guy one or two
90:47uh they can certainly play alongside each other and if for some reason there's an injury you know the wheels are all
90:54the way up with uh raritan it's so easy yeah it's funny because you know hunter henry just signed that two-year extension
91:01so uh i i just pulled it up just to see when that actually happened i think it might have happened while
91:08i was on the john today um but um the while i was pulling it up on twitter just now the the
91:15first thing that came up when i you know searched hunter henry is 32 beat writers for the third straight practice hunter
91:22henry has taken fewer first team reps in favor of third round rookie eli raritan what gives raritan has simply become more
91:29consistent and a trusted quarterback uh and trusted target for both quarterbacks i mean so even amidst the hunter henry excitement for
91:36an extended contract right he's going to be a veteran presence and a binky early on in the season but like the
91:43takeover is already very much underway and like they're gushing about this guy every everybody he talked to is gushing about yeah
91:50love it w w why why you all listen to dynasty underground there you go hopefully you laugh but you also get
