0:00Hi, this is Troy Polamalu and you're listening to Fantasy Footballers Podcast.
0:04To the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
0:09Welcome in! That was pretty good, Andy. Thank you.
0:12Some people say I sound like... Sounded like a banshee.
0:16It seemed like maybe an extinct species of bird.
0:19No, the uh... Where they like, we modeled a mummified body from whatever and they're like...
0:24Oh, when they try to replicate the voice of something from the past.
0:29Yeah, and they're like, here's what they would sound like and it goes...
0:33Do you believe any of that stuff? Um... After we messed up how dinosaurs look?
0:38Well, we still don't know. Did we? Yeah. Well, we do know.
0:42Well, no, we don't. Because of the bones. Yeah, because of the bones.
0:47Yeah, because of the bones. Shout out to because of the bones.
0:51Apologies in advance for my weakening voice. It's been a long week of every person in this entire office being sick in some capacity.
0:59Uh... Hasn't got me yet. Oh! Yeah, I don't...
1:02I don't really know. Like, Mike... Mike was a couple weeks ago.
1:06Al Borland had to fight through it for the entirety of the live show.
1:11He timed it up perfectly. He probably got it from Papa Josh a few days before that.
1:16I'm pretty... You know what? Over the weekend. No, Papa Josh never gets sick.
1:21He just has allergies. He just has allergies. Allergies for a day.
1:25And that was it. Yeah, that was it. Everybody else caught his allergies.
1:30Everybody caught his allergies. There's a lot of dust in the air right now.
1:34Totally. But we're fighting through it. It's too important of a week.
1:38We got our final mock draft episode today. Aw.
1:42Does that make you sad? A little bit. That should make you happy.
1:46Football is here. I'm really excited for football to happen, but mock drafts are so fun, and obviously that will be gone for a long time.
1:55Yeah, but I mean, now it's the capstone mock draft.
1:58It's the best one of the year. Okay. We have...
2:02Well, then whoever's got the first pick better do great.
2:05Yeah. Mock-a-lock-a-ding-dong. What a tough decision you have at number one, Jason.
2:09I like that I got the same spot as the last draft.
2:13That was fun. Oh, man. We have the... You just sent Brooks into a cold sweat.
2:19Oh, I mean, I know. He is panicking right now.
2:22I think I am in the exact same spot, but that's what random things happen sometimes.
2:27How random things happen. The UDK is available now.
2:30Tons of you drafting this week at UltimateDraftKit.com, all of our tier-based projections, and you'll have the app available to you for all the research you need.
2:40It's always being updated. Prepare yourself to dominate your drafts at the foundation for your league.
2:45We also have... We are outpacing last year with our Megalobowl entries.
2:49Oh! What is the total at? It's even more than that.
2:53Right now, it was over 17,000 people playing with us in the Megalobowl.
2:57I don't know the exact number, but we need to get it basically over 21,000 to beat last year.
3:04So go to Megalobowl.com if you are unaware what that is.
3:07It's just another fantasy league to play in. It's not, Justin.
3:11Jason! I was just starting. I didn't like your start.
3:15I did not care for your total at all.
3:18Okay, listen to this. At all. It's not just another fantasy football league.
3:22Thank you. This is a fantasy football league where you're going to play with other Foot Clan members, meaning, you know they're like-minded.
3:30They've got a good sense of humor. They know what they're doing.
3:34They're fun. But also, it's challenging. You don't have any schlub in that league, and so you've got to work the way for it.
3:42That's what TLC was talking about. Right. No, we don't want no schlubs.
3:47Yes. It wasn't even schlub, Mike. It was schlub.
3:50Oh, that's... That's the... That's too far. What is happening this morning?
3:54That's too far. Let's support it. You're with Mike on this?
3:57All right. Have you heard a joke on this show before?
4:01It's a rhyme, and rarely are we accurate with the...
4:05I mean, we don't try to be on the nose.
4:08Oh my gosh. If you want another fantasy football league, go to Megalobowl.com.
4:12That's it. Quick question of the day from Brayton.
4:15Can you guys incorporate more updates from your League of Record?
4:19We can. It's funny. We get asked this all the time, and so I guess we should.
4:25I feel like we have done that more. But it is one of those things.
4:30No one really wants to talk about the League of Record this year.
4:34Yeah, yeah. Wait a minute. I don't really want to talk about it, Jay.
4:39Yeah, actually, Mike, I think that's... I mean, unless you want to talk about me being the champ from last year.
4:46No. Let's just focus on 2027. Let's play a game where we go in a circle and name all the players I already have on my team.
4:55Ready? Mike, you start. No, no, no. Let me start, because it's easy.
5:00Malik Nabors. I'm done. No, no, no. Not on your team.
5:04We're talking about my team and the players I have on my team.
5:08So you start. I refuse. Yeah, okay. Nobody wants to play this game.
5:12No, we should... Just think of the six best players in the league and then just put them on my team.
5:20No, we... I mean, we love... We've talked about it a lot.
5:24We had Al and I face off in a championship game a couple years ago.
5:29Mike had his year of Mike. The year before that, we had the betrayal by two-thirds of the Deucers Alley.
5:36That would be Papa Josh. And then the quiet one that was totally guilty that puts his hands up like he's under arrest right now.
5:44Falsely accused. But luckily, I won that title and it was no big deal.
5:49So there you go. We give you guys updates.
5:52We just don't want to overwhelm the show with like our personal lead.
5:56Right. But I know that you guys get excited about our competitiveness and the times we get to mock one another.
6:03And Jason eventually will have a player on his team actually play.
6:07Yeah, that'll be pretty cool. Josh Jacob-Nabors combo right now?
6:11Yeah, I lost Jonathan Taylor to the lottery. Traded away the artist formerly known as Travis Etienne.
6:17I have Malik-Nabors who might not play and I had Josh Jacobs as my other keeper.
6:22So it's 2027 boys. I'm so excited to be able to host this mock draft today.
6:28Yeah, it's going to go well for you. News and notes from around the league.
6:33The Raiders have named Kirk Cousins as the team's week one starter.
6:37Well, that's better than the Falcons. The Falcons have...
6:40What are we even doing here? I mean, we're days away from like...
6:44Like they are currently practicing for week one. We're at the point where training camps are over.
6:50The, you know, inter-team scrimmages are over. They are preparing...
6:53It's absurd. ...for week one. But they don't know who their quarterback is.
6:58Because they won't have a quarterback through the entire end of the year.
7:02Like I know we've started our week one rankings a little bit like behind the scenes, but we haven't...
7:09I haven't really been diving into the matchups. I don't know who the Falcons play week one, but I'm taking the other team.
7:16So are they. It's rare to have... They're at Pittsburgh.
7:20Yep, sure. Great. They could have been anywhere. It's very rare to name a starting quarterback after September 1st.
7:26This year we have Cousins. The last two years nobody did that.
7:30Before that it was the Cardinals. Yeah, not a serious organization.
7:34Makes sense. It was Trubisky and the Steelers on September 6th of 2022.
7:38To Rod Taylor, 2021. Yeah, I'm not seeing like a string of all pros getting named starters.
7:44Yeah, I think there is... Nathan Peterman? There's a direct correlation with naming your starter this late and having a horrifically bad year.
7:52Clint Kubiak says he's optimistic Ashton Gentry will play week one against the Dolphins.
7:57There's so much whispers in the bushes about Mike Washington Jr.
8:01having a big role. Where are you guys with that?
8:04I think there's been enough smoke. Certain things said by Kubiak where...
8:08I'm not back to where I started. Where I started when Kubiak came here was I was like full out on Gentry.
8:16I thought it would be a timeshare. More like what they did in Seattle.
8:20Exactly. What you saw coming off a Super Bowl where you took Ken Bone Walker and you put him behind Charbonnet.
8:27I'm not back to that place but I do think that Mike Washington Jr.
8:32what he's done in preseason, what he's done in camp and with the ability like if they have a player in Mike
8:40Washington which I was very skeptical of, then they will rest Gentry more with us.
8:45So I've moved the needle a little bit. I think I've got Mike Washington up to like 140 carries somewhere around there
8:52which is not a ton but it's certainly not the situation where I view Ashton Gentry as what Christian McCaffrey was last year.
9:00Mike Evans back at practice on Wednesday. Okay. How about...
9:03Hold on. Hold on. We're getting breaking news. Mike Evans has left practice.
9:08Any man now. I'm just assuming. Yeah, no, you're right.
9:11I haven't heard anything. Mike Evans will be back in the news tomorrow.
9:16Yeah. But he's practicing. That is good. That is good.
9:19And Mika Ekbegbo. Working off to the side, projected to be ready for week one.
9:24The world would like us to clarify that it was a toe sprain not turf toe.
9:30He seems... I mean I've watched a lot of...
9:33I don't think we know... We don't really know what's going on.
9:37They have been... They have not said turf toe.
9:40That's all I'm reporting. The team has not said...
9:43Correct. The team has said sprain toe, not turf toe.
9:46There is a difference. He is still trying to basically be able to cut on that foot, on that toe.
9:53He's been going through all the motions this week, trying to strengthen that, see if he's ready for week one.
10:00And you know... It's... Yeah. Our medical guy, Matthew Betts, certified PT, is reminding us, turf toe is a sprain of the big toe.
10:08Yeah. You can't turf toe the small ones. Right.
10:11That's why I know that... If they're just saying it's a sprain toe, it could...
10:16It could still be turf toe. Yeah. It's which toe is it.
10:20And because of the recovery and the struggles with it, it definitely feels like turf toe.
10:26Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. I think we hope to see him out there in week one and maybe he ends up dropping an ADP.
10:35Panthers coach Dave Canales says he is optimistic Jonathan Brooks will play in week one.
10:40Oof. General Soreness... General Soreness is reporting for duty.
10:43He's trying to keep him out. How do you guys project...
10:47Get to the sideline, soldier! How do you guys project the Jonathan Brooks-Chuba week one split?
10:52Who gets the first carry? Chuba. Yeah. I think Chuba...
10:55I bet this just... We're probably hot hand the entire season.
10:59Well, Brooks should have a hotter hand. I think...
11:02Chuba's had very few hot hands in his career.
11:05I mean, you... He's a warm handed running back.
11:08The fantasy football drafters, you're making your choice of who you think it will be, but I think it will be a very frustrating back and forth of...
11:18They've been a good running team. They... They can have a very good running scheme.
11:23That's the... They have a solid offensive line, but like last year, it was...
11:28I mean, it started as Chuba, then Rico takes over, and then it was hot hand.
11:33So, I just think week to week, this could be pretty tough.
11:37If one of them is seemingly going to take over eventually, it probably should be Jonathan Brooks, but I think it is a...
11:45I think it's a sketchy move. Week to week, I don't know that you're going to be able to really count on either of them.
11:54Any other news? No, not at this time. Okay.
11:57By the way, we wanted to make the Falcon do the welcome in today, knowing my voice is a little weak, but...
12:04But we love you, Footclan. Yeah. I mean, the gag just would have fallen flatter somehow.
12:10Bleh. All right, we're going to take a quick break, an early break, and then we'll jump into our final mock draft of the season.
12:18The Fantasy Footballers Mock Draft. All right, our final mock draft.
12:22Jason at the one spot, Mike at the five spot.
12:25I'm at nine. It's a 12-team mock. One quarterback, two running back, two wide receivers, one tight end, one flex, four bench.
12:33Away we go. Jason kicks us off. All right, Jason, make your pick.
12:37Oh, wow. Oh, wow. I'm going to shock the world here at the 101.
12:42Oh, shock. Take Jameer Gibbs. Have some courage. Maybe I'll get Sailor Jerry at the end.
12:47Just kidding. He's just a reason to not draft anyone other than Gibbs with the 101.
12:53Also known as the player Andy gets to draft in the League of Record on Monday.
12:58I have heard from a lot of people. I mean, McCaffrey's going at 104 right now.
13:04Yeah. Gibbs, Bijon, Chase, McCaffrey. But I have heard a lot of back and forth from people nervous about taking McCaffrey.
13:11Yeah, for sure. The nerves are there. For sure.
13:14Tale as old as time. Yeah. I have been one of those people where I am still a little hesitant when there's a tie-breaking.
13:22Like right now, he went number four. For me, he would probably go around seven.
13:27I would take JSN and Amon-Ra over McCaffrey just because of those fears.
13:31But, I mean, if you're trying to win a championship and, you know, looking for the highest possible upside, it's usually Christian McCaffrey.
13:39Mike, you're on the clock. All right. So, we talked a little bit about Puka and his situation yesterday.
13:46We don't have clarity as of this point. Yeah, it seems like Puka will be playing, you know, week one.
13:52I just saw a promo video for the Rams 49ers getting ready for the Australia game.
13:58And Puka's heavily featured in said video. So, the NFL at least is still putting that material out.
14:04But I'm going to try something a little bit different here.
14:08I think James Cook is an elite running back.
14:11And I'm going to take him here over the wide receivers and see what my team, see if I like what happens
14:18with the team on the way back. I mean, we just did the draft of offenses.
14:24And obviously, the Bills are one of those top five elite offenses that you want pieces of.
14:29And Cook will score a ton of touchdowns. With Mike on the clock, I knew that there was a five pack of
14:37guys, maybe six, that I was into. This one's interesting.
14:40Cook, Puka, Jonathan Taylor, and then A-Champ. Oh, man.
14:43That one away. The highest of T. Look, I just want to bang the table one final time before the season starts for Devon A-Champ.
14:52There is. You sure about that? I'm so certain.
14:55This is why. Yeah. This is why. This is the third best running back in football, in my opinion.
15:01Whoa. And. What? Yeah. You're saying as a. I think as a talent, as a versatile.
15:07I mean, this was the only back that was.
15:10What did he say? Absolutely the most consistent running back last year on a team that was.
15:16Do you remember the two? What are we talking about with the Falcons?
15:20Tua. Is a terrible quarterback. Yeah. And I know he has his propensity to get the ball.
15:26He loves checking it down. To check it down.
15:29A-Champ is an elite running back. People are underestimating Malik Willis and this offense.
15:34Chris Bell is going to be there from day one.
15:37And A-Champ is going to be worthy of this pick at the end of the year.
15:42Are you saying that if you were an NFL GM, you would.
15:47Number three. You would take him number three. Number three.
15:50So you'd take him ahead of. Cook. Hampton and Jinty.
15:53Yes. And Cook. Yes. Jonathan Taylor. I think he's the third best all around running back in football.
15:59All right. I have, unfortunately, a weird selection because of that.
16:03I thought I'd get Amon Ra or JSN. Now I have to choose between them.
16:08So I'll just take Jackson Smith and Jigba at 109.
16:12Yeah. That makes sense. But between him and Amon Ra, or I'm sorry.
16:16Yeah. Yeah. I guess it or J. Are you still JSN firmly over on?
16:21No, certainly not. Not firmly with those. I do too.
16:24I think they're in the exact same, you know, tier.
16:28I could see it going either way. I mean, JSN has far more target market share of his team, but the offense,
16:35I think, is far better for the Lions as far as total points scored on the season and the way that they play.
16:43So, yeah, I mean, I'm fine either way. Honestly, I would love to be in Julia's spot where she gets to get Amon Ra St.
16:51Brown at the 10 spot. Yeah. So we got Amon Ra, CeeDee Lamb and Kenneth Walker finishing out the first round.
16:59Good work, Matt, honoring Ken Bun Walker to be a first round selection.
17:03He took him ahead of Barkley. Yeah. That's right, Saquon Barkley.
17:07You're a second round pick. Then Chase Brown, Hampton goes to Julia.
17:11And then Andy wasting no time in selecting Justin Jefferson.
17:14Yeah, I was Jefferson or A.J. Brown there for me.
17:18Did not take the pick of Jinty. And at the running back spot, I just prefer the JSN Jefferson combo.
17:24We'll go wide receiver, wide receiver. So after Jefferson, we get Ashton Jinty, Nico Collins, Derek Henry.
17:30I am back on the clock. I took James Cook in the first, which I did.
17:36I mean, seeing how the draft board has unfolded, that really worked out.
17:40We went very high tee, very heavy in the running backs.
17:44And A.J. Brown, an elite wide receiver one, did fall to me as compared to, you know, the running backs on the
17:51board here would be Kyron, Jeremiah Love. Fine players, but getting to start with two elite, an elite running back and elite wide receiver, that feels pretty good.
18:01So I'm going to take A.J. Brown. Then when Josh Allen, first quarterback, whoa, first quarterback off of the board in the second round.
18:09I guess baby Jake just, he needs him some Josh Allen.
18:13Kyle takes George Pickens, Devontae Smith, and then Jason, you are back on the clock.
18:18So this is really, really interesting to me. There's three players at three different positions that are kind of a tear break at all of them.
18:27I mean, obviously you've got both Brock Bowers and Trey McBride.
18:30So I could take the tight end, which here at the 2-3 turn I feel like is a great value.
18:37But there's also good value with Drake London. You know, he's been a player I haven't been as hot on.
18:44Because of the PUA. Because of the PUA. But that was also because he was starting the year like near the end
18:51of the first round, very beginning of the second round, going ahead of, you know, it was like you were basically in
18:59the, am I taking London or Justin Jefferson? I think we've talked that situation down enough to where, man, he's here.
19:06And then at running back, I do think Jeremiah Love at the 2-3 turn is totally, you're near his floor and you still have crazy upside.
19:15But since I've got Gibbs, I think I'm going to go more hero running back.
19:20I'll take Drake London and then a, and I'm doing that so that I can say I got a third round.
19:27What a value, Jason. Brock Bowers. Oh my goodness.
19:30But that sets me up. Gibbs, London, and Bowers, one of each.
19:34Since I do prefer, people talk about, you know, what strategy do you have at the turn?
19:40I prefer, and I don't always do this, but I find that I'm happier when I split my positions at the turn.
19:47If I go running back, running back or wide receiver, wide receiver, the flexibility, I just have to have, I don't get
19:55any choice of the next 24 picks. And I just have to get lucky that the position available is there for me.
20:02Whereas if I kind of go running back, wide receiver, take one of each, the next time you come back around, you
20:10have more flexibility to take what's left on the board.
20:13All right. So you took Brock Bowers, Brooksie takes Kyron.
20:17So he has started with two running backs, then Brees Hall, then Jeremiah Love.
20:21That puts me back on the clock, trying to pull up my, my rankings here and see who is left at the wide receiver position.
20:30This is the area where you got to kind of start figuring out, are you willing to go on Malik neighbors?
20:37I had all of my chips in on Malik did not like the press conference of the, I'll play when I'm ready.
20:44I mean, I know he's just, you know, kind of up there talking openly, but I thought, I thought we were going
20:52to be ready for week one here. Mr. Malik neighbors, uh, at running back Javante, camp Scadaboo, Travis H and junior those,
20:59that's kind of the top of the ADP list for the running back position.
21:04Uh, but I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to take Chris Olave to go with AJ Brown.
21:11So two wide receivers, one running back, Matthew Betts right after me takes Malik neighbors.
21:16Trey McBride follows that up. Papa Josh takes Lad McConkie right in front of Andy, because of course this is what Papa Josh has to do.
21:24Andy, you're on the clock. You have two wide receivers.
21:28You got JSN and Justin Jefferson. Yeah. I mean, I get that Lad was his, my guy, but given that he's got
21:35two wide receivers, I would imagine you're looking not at wide receivers.
21:39I'm taking DeAndre Swift at 3-0-9. Oh my goodness.
21:42In the third? Yeah. I mean, we don't have Mononga to start the season.
21:47I like the pass catching. Well, he's week to week.
21:51Yeah. Well, there's one week until football. So no, I think DeAndre Swift right now, especially early season will be a steal.
21:58Uh, Jamison, or sorry, Javante does go next in Rice, McMillan, Waddle and Ibuka.
22:03Colston Loveland off the board at the 4-0-3 and I am going running back again.
22:08I'm taking Jadarian Price. Wow. That's really high ADP wise for him.
22:12I had him flagged to come to me at the 4-12.
22:16This is where he's going to go in drafts.
22:19He's not going to fall to where his normal ADP is.
22:23I think people are realizing the situation for a first round back is pretty perfect on a rookie that could be something special you don't know.
22:31So I don't, I don't mind that at all taking Swift and Price there.
22:36Yeah. I think you're off to a decent start.
22:39There are rumors that we'll hear more about Jadarian Price on tomorrow's episode of the show.
22:45Not from me, but from somebody else. Swift and Price at running backs, JSN and Jefferson as my wide receivers.
22:51Flowers, Wilson, Higgins, and then Mike is back on the clock.
22:55I am back. A.J. Brown and Alave. A.J. Brown and Alave.
22:59At the running back position, Scadaboo is still there.
23:02Sigh. Scadaboo is starting to feel, J, where are you with Scadaboo?
23:06Yeah, no, I mean. My risk is starting to feel worse.
23:10I think that he is an elite talent. I really do.
23:13I think he's a headache for this team and I don't know that Harbaugh loves him.
23:19I think that this is a... We do have a clip that just came out, but we haven't been able to watch.
23:26It got shared in here. It's Scadaboo's talking to Kay Adams and the headline is Scadaboo considered retiring after the season ending injury.
23:34I have to watch to get all the full context.
23:38Speaking on Up and Out, Scadaboo said he told himself in college that he would retire if suffering a major injury.
23:45Well, he lied because he suffered a major injury and he has not retired.
23:49No, I mean, it's not just the injury. Obviously, you've got Judkins and Scadaboo coming off of the injury.
23:56Scadaboo on a better timeline and he's been doing stuff for a long time.
24:01He says he's fully... You know, we talked to him in New York and he said he was fully good to go.
24:08He over flipped on his back flip, yada, yada.
24:11I think I'm more scared of the situation on a coaching and opportunity standpoint.
24:16Are we scared of Najee? I'm scared of Nagy.
24:19You said it almost. Oh, okay. I mean, I get it.
24:23We shouldn't be scared of the competition there. Cam Scadaboo is...
24:27We shouldn't have to be. Cam Scadaboo is significantly better than this version of Najee and Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary.
24:34I would like to have Scadaboo on my team, but I would like him to be like my running back three.
24:41Yeah, I get it. So quarterback wise, it's still just Josh Allen off the board.
24:46Baby Jake will let you sit in the fact that you did that.
24:50I'm not. At the wide receiver position, top of ADP would be DJ Moore, Terry McLaurin, Devonta Adams is there.
24:57But look, we're in the fourth. I don't know that the mock draft has really unveiled itself where I've been able to do this.
25:05Luther Burden, baby. Okay, I will go. Luther, finally, finally it worked out.
25:10Luther Burden is on the squad. He joins AJ Brown and Chris Olave.
25:14After I take Luther goes DJ Moore, Travis HN Jr., David Montgomery goes to Brooks.
25:19He's pretty high T over there. Jason, you're at the turn.
25:23You are back on the clock. We're back on the Scadaboo conversation.
25:27This would be my running back two, not my running back three, which I would prefer, but there is a tear break here.
25:35It really, Bucky Irving is going to be such a fascinating story this year.
25:40Everything in preseason, everything in camp has been that Kenny Gainwell is super involved and is kind of taking the passing work
25:47while Bucky is doing all of the primary running duties.
25:50So that'll be interesting to unfold. There's also, you know, you look at ADP and you see Josh Jacobs there.
25:57Obviously that's not happening. No. But when you see Josh Jacobs there, you've got to ask yourself what you're doing with Marshawn
26:05Lloyd or with the Green Bay Packer running back situation.
26:08That is a good tip of let Josh Jacobs be the reminder for your Marshawn Lloyd ADP of, because this is a,
26:16I mean, I don't want to speak for you, Jay, but it's like we're at the point where someone's probably going to draft Marshawn Lloyd pretty soon.
26:25So you're at the turn. If you were a Lloyd believer, you would have to do it right here.
26:31I couldn't draft him over Scadaboo, Bucky Irving, some of those guys that, you know, we're still betting on a super fragile guy.
26:39I mean, I know the whole injury problem. I was talking to Mike off, you know, outside of the studio before I
26:46was like my top 10 tips and tricks are the things to remember episode.
26:51At the end of this year, I'm going to look back at Jonathan Brooks and Marshawn Lloyd and Kendra Miller.
26:58And I'm going to, I'm going to just going to see, was it like, oh, we should have known or Hey, there
27:05is no such thing as injury prone. I'm going to take Cam Scadaboo.
27:10Um, at this point he represents kind of a tier for the rest of the running backs.
27:16Um, and then at wide receiver, I would take Jameson Williams.
27:19Like that's who I want to take, but I've got Gibbs.
27:23I don't want to do the wide receiver running back, uh, thing.
27:27And I'm, I'm more and more and more and more and more and more bullish on Devante Adams.
27:33The, the old man has been rising to me.
27:36So I think, uh, I think he's going to have a really successful season.
27:41The only worry I have with Adams is at his age, if an injury happens, it will be, you know, it's always got the peptide protocols in place.
27:51I hope so, man. I hope so. Who doesn't Devante Adams, Jameson Williams, Tyler Warren, Roma Dunze.
27:56All guys. My eye on this round, Mike, you're back on the clock.
28:01I, now I'm down bad in terms of, uh, just overall strategy as I'm, I mean, I could keep going with the hero RB build.
28:09Yeah. Basial. I mean, if I'm taking a running back, looking, it's a Bucky, Travo, Basial tootin that I would be taking tootin.
28:17However, Christian Watson is still here in round five.
28:20I will, he would be on my bench if I am drafting him because you have three wide receivers.
28:27So I've already filled my two wide receiver spots and the flex position.
28:31Oh, that is brutal. Uh, I had my eye on, uh, possibly going Tyler Warren, but Kyle snagged him.
28:37You also in the fifth round here have your choice of the quarterbacks, all quarterbacks, not in Josh Allen.
28:44So I do love Lamar this, like I'm, I'm, I'm in a full forgiveness of last year for Lamar.
28:50I think he's going to be solid, but Oh, Mike can't, he has no idea what he's doing.
28:57No, I do. I do. Why don't you tell us?
29:00I'm taking the, the, the, but was because of AJ Brown was I have AJ Brown and I can have the Drake may AJ Brown stack.
29:09I don't feel like I overpaid for Drake may.
29:12And even though I'm still riding with just one running back.
29:16Yeah. I feel all right with it. Interesting. Not even tempted by Bucky there.
29:20I told you, man. I'm just like, I, I don't want Bucky.
29:24I don't want to draft by you. You did exactly what you're supposed to do when you don't want somebody.
29:31At this point, when you're in the middle of the fifth round, Bucky is, he's about to be on my team, but we'll take a break first.
29:40After Drake may Christian Watson off the board. Mike can't get him for wide receivers for Betsy.
29:46I know he went to a good home. Well, yeah, I don't know.
29:51He went to a non-starting home. It doesn't matter.
29:54I mean, that's how he stays safe. Me and me and bets are Watson bros.
29:59So Quinch on Judkins and tootin. I have three wide receivers.
30:02I'm in love with at this spot. I have a quick turn, so I'm going to pull the trigger on Bucky Irving here.
30:10And, uh, I mean getting swift price, Bucky Irving, three, four, five.
30:14I have here a wide receivers with Jason and Jefferson.
30:18You have a very strong start. I, I am very happy.
30:21Carnell Tate, Lamar Jackson, Trevo, Lloyd. There he goes.
30:24And Ramondre. Both, both wide receivers. I wanted made it through.
30:28What a turn there. Travion Henderson and Marshawn Lloyd.
30:31I mean, to, to, to stack those two guys together is like.
30:35And Ramondre. What could be. Well, I, uh, I want you guys to help me decide this pick.
30:41All right. Uh, it's between a player that I think is going to have a humongous season and out kick his ADP in Marvin Harrison Jr.
30:50Mm-hmm. Who, uh, you know, it would be a little bit ahead of his ADP, but in this draft, I got a long wait.
30:58It would be here. And Parker Washington, who I continue to believe in the drumbeat.
31:04I believe in the, the fact that he could be the premier one on this team at this point.
31:10I'm not worried about Jacoby. BTJ. I feel like the route tree, the utilization is going to be minimal.
31:16It'll be big plays and nothing else. And so I would say PR versus, um, more upside.
31:22Yeah. I mean, I guess I would default to obviously with those two players, some of it has to be.
31:29What do you believe? Sounds like you believe in both.
31:32You believe the, the bowl case. I believe in both for both options.
31:37In which case, if you think both are good wide receivers, who's got the better environment?
31:42Who's, you know, who's on the better offense? I, I, I, you know, that should be an easy one.
31:49Is that hat doing things to the brain of you saying which one's the better, which one's the better offense.
31:56I mean, Vegas projections at the very least, we did just draft the, our, what we believe will be the best.
32:03I didn't think Jacksonville belonged in that top 12.
32:06So, right. But Arizona's name was not even mentioned.
32:09Arizona, I believe is third to last. I understand.
32:12I just, it's a priority of like, okay, it's, it's environment.
32:16But I think Marvin Harrison is very much the better red zone threat.
32:20I think he is more secure in the target share than Parker Washington.
32:24I don't know what it's going to be like in Jacksonville this year.
32:29And I trust Jacoby Brissett to get the ball to him.
32:33I mean, if you saw the numbers, if you heard the numbers from the live show, I know that was bold predictions episode.
32:40If Marvin Harrison gets seven or more targets a game, his average fantasy points per game is 16.8.
32:46So you look at the offense, a healthy Marvin Harrison.
32:50I'm, I'm still a believer. I'm going with Marv.
32:53I'm still a believer in Marvin Harrison. Marvin Harrison and Roman Dunes are two guys that I have kind of, I feel
33:00like been an idiot on according to the world, because I still think that they're good players and that they're going to
33:08show that the reason they were drafted top 10 in the NFL is because of that.
33:13Uh, most people don't believe that, which is why you're getting Marvin Harrison in the sixth round.
33:19I mean, to me, what better place alongside Jason and Jefferson for Marvin Harrison?
33:24Parker goes next. Jonathan Brooks, Joe Burrow, Mike, you're back on the clock, man.
33:29Joe Burrow at the six Oh seven to stack with T Higgins is a tremendous value.
33:34So, I mean, some are not all of our team.
33:37Our drafts have gone this way. The elite quarterbacks have been ADP wise going a bit later, but so it's just a
33:45make sure you're, you're fully paying attention while your draft is, is going that you don't have, you're not just locked into
33:52such a plan that you don't even flip over to that quarterback tab.
33:57So that is outrageous to me to get Burrow there.
34:00Uh, let's see, looking at the wide receivers, there's no one, no one really spectacular standing out to me.
34:07I mean, Terry McLaurin here could be serve as a huge value.
34:11I have a shorter turn. So I got eight picks in between, uh, my next one, but I don't know what these
34:18clowns are going to do and I don't really want to risk JK Dobbins.
34:23So I'm going to take him here at the six Oh eight RB two.
34:28Yeah. He is my running back too. And he, maybe he's not the full season guy for the Denver Broncos.
34:34I've mentioned Jonah Coleman kind of, he scares me far more than RJ Harvey does, but at least be at the beginning
34:42of the year, I feel pretty strong that it will be Dobbins.
34:46Mike Evans goes after that. We have a little wide receiver run.
34:50Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin, Michael Wilson goes to Brooks.
34:53Jason, the turn you are up. I'm a little sad.
34:57I was going to, if, if Kyborg did not pull the trigger there on Terry McLaurin, I was going to do something that I haven't.
35:05You were going to go McLaurin Daniels. I was going to go McLaurin Daniels, despite the fears that we have in the Washington 30 year old wide receivers.
35:15Well, in the seventh round. Sure. I, you know, the fears we have with the commander's offense are legitimate, but at the
35:22same time you have to look at the bull case whenever you're drafting it.
35:27It's Kyle will be drafting Jaden Daniels. Probably. I mean, just strategically that would be the move to go for.
35:34So for me, I'm sitting here and I'm like, okay, I can take a quarterback of, of my choice, but at the
35:41turn there, there's nobody that is like if Burrow had got to me, obviously I would have pulled the trigger there.
35:48I think there's a tear break to all the rest of them.
35:52There's no stack that I am especially in love with.
35:56So I'm going to take again. I'm going to look at the bull case.
36:00What is the highest upside potential outcome for certain players?
36:04I'll take Brian Thomas. I don't think that like, I don't project him to be the one, but obviously we know what
36:11he can do on the NFL field. He's been a top 10 wide receiver in the past and the best predictor of future success is past success.
36:20And then I'm stuck here basically feeling like at the turn, if I don't take a running back here as my RB
36:28three, it's going to be nothing left. I've experienced it in every draft.
36:32So my hand is forced right now to take a running back and I'm going to pull the trigger on Jalen Warren.
36:40The question of the Steelers backfield. I know you guys are on the Rico side.
36:45I'm on the Warren side. I'm just always on the Rico side.
36:49Yes. That's a contractual obligation for you, Mike. He does pay me well.
36:53Yes. No matter where he goes, you're on the Rico side.
36:57But as a seventh round RB three, you know, you got to take the shot on those ambiguous backfields.
37:04After. So Jason takes Jalen Warren. We had multi quarterbacks go Jalen hurts followed by Jane Daniels.
37:09You know, the, the players. So you just talked Daniels yesterday of players.
37:14I'm afraid to be wrong about in the, in the fact of over statting over projecting J Daniels in the seventh round
37:21is that's, that's truly a ridiculous value. Uh, baby Jake took RJ Harvey.
37:26Uh, and then I am back on the clock.
37:29It's a pretty easy pick for me here. I will take the man, the myth, the legend.
37:34He's recovering from an ACL. I don't care. Seventh rounder Tucker craft.
37:39Come on down, baby. I've been very anti yes, you have craft in all of my dress.
37:44The difference between Tucker craft in the fifth and Tucker crack craft in this in the in the seventh was that Tucker crap.
37:52Oh, I didn't hear that. I heard crack. I heard crack.
37:56Um, it's massive. I mean, and you say, well, it's just a couple of rounds.
38:01So that's pretty rough. But you look at like who you would have been giving up is a Roma dunes, a Judkins.
38:08Like that's why I can't possibly take craft over those guys.
38:12That feels like an easy Tucker craft over those two names.
38:16Well, okay. Okay. How about Christian Watson? Okay. That's way exactly.
38:20But that's my point. You would have, you would have been taking craft over, over Watson, which I would not do that a couple of rounds ago.
38:29But here you're taking them over, over, you know, backups.
38:32I think that's what I'm going to do. I think that's the answer to the question.
38:38I think that's what I'm going to do. I think that's what I'm going to do.
38:43Yeah. Nick Horam and then Caleb, by my guy.
38:46I had a group of basically five quarterbacks. I was kind of waiting to decide between Caleb.
38:52Jaden, they both went. I'm trying to decide here.
38:55Do I want to just like let the quarterback position go?
38:59I still have some names way later that I'm okay with.
39:02I mean there's still, sorry, let's see. I mean, Dak is the one that stands out.
39:08You can stack with Berset. I feel like I could do that maybe a little bit later.
39:14Man, maybe I don't go either of those positions.
39:17I mean, you're at the point now. So, one, two, three, four, five, six.
39:21So, we have seven. Seven of the 12 teams have their quarterback.
39:26And the names left is Herbert, Dak, Lawrence. If you're in on the upside of Dart, Bo Nix.
39:32This is the hard part of taking the – even if you're getting an elite quarterback at a value, when I'm seeing
39:39especially guys like Dak be available in the eighth round, that's tough.
39:43Yeah, I thought about Dak. I went KC Concepcion.
39:46I'm going rookie-rookie here. Stribbling, Concepcion, it's a strategy I often employ.
39:50I like taking shots at the most talented, highest upside, highest target share rookies late in drafts.
39:56So, Stribbling, Concepcion, both players, I think, will have a fantasy impact in year one.
40:01Sutton, Golden, Laporta, and Mike back on the clock.
40:04You have your onesies already. You're filling out the depth.
40:08Yeah, we're looking at filling out the team here.
40:11I got, again, eight picks between this one and the next one.
40:15Do I possibly risk someone sniping DK Metcalf in between my next pick?
40:19I'd be pretty devastated if it happened, but I think it's probably the best thing to do for my team.
40:26So, whatever you guys do, don't draft DK Metcalf.
40:29I'm going to take – Oh, man. Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill.
40:34I'm going to take the upside of Bill Krosky.
40:37I know how much you like Metcalf, so I hope he gets back to you.
40:42Oh, my gosh, please. Please. I mean, Metcalf is a wide receiver one that nobody wants to touch, which is impossible to believe after last year.
40:51I mean, do we look at the situation of last year where it was Aaron Rodgers, it was DK Metcalf, the largest
40:58difference would be Mike McCarthy and a different offensive scheme.
41:02Do we believe that that will be the difference between last year's DK Metcalf, which was borderline unplayable for the majority of the season?
41:10Do we think it corrects itself? Yeah. I mean, it could, but that's not the only change, right?
41:16Michael Pittman joining the team is also a negative for DK Metcalf.
41:20Now, Pittman's been hurt most of camp. If you watched Aaron Rodgers talk about him recently, he was – he didn't seem
41:27very – he's like, it is what it is.
41:30He hasn't been here. So, he was talking – He's calling Pittman soft?
41:35Seemed like it, man. He just seemed frustrated about the fact that, look, we haven't been able to work on it, and
41:42this is a player new to the team, and you know how Aaron Rodgers gets with, like, if he can rely on you.
41:50Yeah. So – With strangers. Stranger danger. I get it.
41:54Metcalf is a good pick. I'm sitting here going Metcalf or Makai Lemon.
41:58Oh, don't – no, Jay. I'm not taking Metcalf.
42:01I am going to take Makai Lemon and Dak Prescott.
42:04I like the new bit. It's buying yourself one push-down pick.
42:08Dak Prescott, cheap Joe Burrow a couple rounds later in the eighth.
42:12I love. Makai Lemon is what Andy just talked about.
42:16He's got Stribbling. He's got Concepcion. The truth is, highly drafted first-round wide receivers get on the field usually earlier.
42:22So, I'll take a shot at a first-round NFL wide receiver.
42:26Yeah. That's a – Did you want Lemon? No, I just wanted you guys to take DK Metcalf.
42:32Oh, because you're sitting here saying, how do I pass on Metcalf?
42:36Oh, no. No, no, no, no, no. No. No, passing on – I mean, yeah.
42:41Just out of curiosity, Mike Metcalf or Josh Jacobs?
42:45DK Metcalf. Okay. Just checking. Kyle just took Jacobs in the ninth.
42:49Okay. Okay. Whatever, man. At this point, going to – yeah, just set your ninth-round pick on fire.
42:55That's fine. At this point, you know, where it's like not everything is hunky-dory, I want to peek real quick at the rookies.
43:03Just turning that little rookie button on. Jordan Tyson is there.
43:06I think that is – I do have Olave, but Jordan Tyson at this point to go on to my IR is
43:14in fact what I'm going to do. I'm not going to – I feel strong that someone would have grabbed him on this turn here.
43:22So, I will – I'll take Tyson. I'll stash him and hope that when he comes back, everything is great.
43:29Metcalf, Diggs, Herbert, I am back on the clock.
43:32Again, I have enough depth at wide receiver – or, sorry, I have lots of depth at wide receiver.
43:39Not as much at running back. There are some names I really love.
43:43Trying to figure out what these guys are going to do.
43:47But I – Wow. So, we have – I have quarterbacks that I'm fine with here.
43:52We have three teams without a quarterback? Yeah. And then most of them have tight ends as well.
43:58There's three without tight ends, and I have multiple tight ends I really like at this juncture.
44:04So, I think this might be the first mock draft.
44:07I kick those to my final two picks. And I'm going to take – I'm going to go back-to-back-to-back rookies.
44:14I'm taking Chris Bell, wide receiver from Miami Dolphins, who I want to draw to you in this final mock draft.
44:21Stribbling conception on Chris Bell, and I'm heavy at the wide receiver position.
44:26Addison, Likely, Nix, Kincaid, people closing out their onesie positions.
44:29Both Likely and Kincaid were under consideration, obviously. I am fascinated with the Chris Bell via Caleb Douglas competition for Miami.
44:36Caleb Douglas – Chris Bell is back. He missed all of training camp, though.
44:41Yes. And while Caleb Douglas, their hire drafted – they took him first, right?
44:46Caleb Douglas over Chris Bell? I believe so. Look that up.
44:50I want to be accurate on that. Oh, because of the kicker – To me, it's not a competition.
44:56Chris Bell's going to – But Caleb Douglas has just been dominating.
45:00I'm dating all offseason. Every report was great. So I'm just curious how that starts week one.
45:06Does Chris Bell go from not a part of the offense – I guess I haven't seen that.
45:12I saw the one catch that got a lot of notoriety, but I haven't seen a lot of positive Douglas.
45:19There's a lot of drumbeat for him. Interesting. All right.
45:22I'm going to take Jawan Johnson as my tight end in the – Nice.
45:27In the 10th round here. Woody Marks goes next.
45:30B-Cat takes Jackson Dart. Oh, man. Dart in the 10th.
45:33It's the gamble of the quarterback. I felt like I got very good value for Drake May in the 5th.
45:40But then the scattering of quarterbacks late. It's tough.
45:43It's tough to know if you did the right thing.
45:47Jackson Dart goes. Rashad White goes after that. I am back on the clock.
45:51My wide receiver crew, I really only have the three.
45:55So I'm going to peek at that. We got Jane Reed.
45:58We got soft Michael Pittman. Wandale is there. He should see a bunch of targets.
46:04Man, Romeo Dobbs is the name that stands out.
46:07But do I really want A.J. Brown and Romeo Dobbs here on my team?
46:11Man, I'm not feeling really strong about any of these wide receivers.
46:15So I have one more pick after this. I am going to do the thing of – look, I have my priors.
46:23I still believe in them. But sometimes you got to be like maybe I'm not locked in completely on the situation.
46:30So I'm going to take Chris Rodriguez. He's on my short list.
46:34I figured he would go for sure. So in the event, maybe I'm wrong about Tootin.
46:40So you got to be willing to do those things.
46:43And then with a 10th round pick, that's very low investment.
46:47Yeah. I think you have to be open. I love the way you describe it.
46:52You've got your priors and you've got your opinions.
46:55But you recognize that there's not 100% hit rate on anyone's opinions.
46:59So the situation to potentially get the more valuable back in Chris Rodriguez.
47:03It could be Krodin. I don't think it will be, but it definitely could be.
47:08Yeah. Not a bad pick. I would have taken him had he gotten to me.
47:14Wandale goes next. Aaron Jones. And then Romeo Dobbs was a player I really wanted to get to me.
47:20Brooks grabs him one pick ahead of me. I think at this point in the draft, getting the wide receiver two for
47:27a really great offense, who they did pay a significant amount of money.
47:32They did. Is a good value. So now I'm sitting here looking.
47:36I'm going to take one running back, one wide receiver.
47:39I'm looking for just potential wacky high upside. Like there's Tyler Algier there.
47:44Maybe you've got a week one starter. But I think as the season goes on, he gets less and less valuable.
47:51So at wide receiver, I'm between Michael Pittman and Caleb Douglas.
47:55Douglas, you know, the shot of the rookie wide receiver for the Dolphins or the vet.
48:00I'm going to go with the data. Caleb Douglas not being a first round wide receiver.
48:05Also, the Dolphins not being a great offense franchise in 2026.
48:09I'll take Michael Pittman, put a veteran on my team.
48:13I feel like going in on a player Aaron Rodgers already doesn't like.
48:17Yeah, no, I get it. I like Pittman. I think that he's a 10th round pick.
48:22And so that completed my draft. Michael Pittman was my last pick.
48:27The 11th round did start though, Jay. Oh, did it start with Tyler Algier with Brooks?
48:32I believe it did. No, you took a guy.
48:35You took a guy. Say nothing. Caleb Johnson. No, I didn't.
48:39I would never. I would never have hope. I would never dream.
48:43I would never dare to dream. I don't want to get hurt again.
48:47Jason, the people have to know. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
48:52How strong are your actual real dreams? They are genuinely so weak.
48:56They are. It's but a whisper. It's but a whisper.
48:59It's so deep down and dark and hidden inside that it's somewhere.
49:03Somewhere it's really bright, but it's so far away.
49:06But it was enough for me to take him in the 11th.
49:10All right. You took Caleb Johnson. Tyler Algier goes.
49:13Kyle takes Keenan Allen, which, of course, I should have seen that coming.
49:18Then it is tanked out. My final decision. I would look with all this Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas talk.
49:24I mean, Malik Washington has been a veteran. I think he starts the season as the number one.
49:30Is he good enough to hold on to that position?
49:34That's the bet for if you want to draft the rookies.
49:38But I was between Keenan Allen and Malik Washington here for my final pick.
49:42I'm just going to scroll the wide receivers and double check.
49:46I mean, Xavier Worthy. Jacoby Lane is a fun rookie for Baltimore with upside.
49:51But I'm going to take the chance. I'm going to take the chance that Malik Washington is like a 5-6 reception per week type of guy.
50:00Tank Bigsby goes. Malachi Fields goes to B-Cat. I think that's solid.
50:04Papa Josh takes Cyrus Allen. Loves himself some fifth-round backups.
50:07Andy, back on the clock. Malik Willis. As your quarterback won.
50:11So you completed the stack. The very underrated Chris Bell-Malik Willis stack.
50:15That's right. Malik Willis is 100% worth it at this.
50:18I could have taken Trevor Lawrence, Tyler Shuttman, Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff, Jordan Love, Brock Purdy.
50:24I would have taken Trevor Lawrence. But I get it.
50:27You're shooting for the moon, taking Malik Willis. Jonah Coleman goes.
50:31Go Dolphins. I wish I had a Dolphins sound effect.
50:34Thank you. That was not a good Dolphin. That was a seal.
50:38That was for the San Diego Seals. You want to try again?
50:42I don't. I don't. I think my voice right now can't.
50:46How about the Falcon? Oh, yeah. Hey! We found what you can do!
50:51We found the thing you can do! Dude! Good job-ish!
50:54Are you freaking kidding me? Don't talk. I didn't know I had that in me.
50:59No, that was outstanding. Leave on a W. Secret talents.
51:02What a Dolphin sound effect guy. I feel like that added like two points a game to Malik Willis' numbers this year.
51:10Jonah Coleman, Jacoby Lane, and then Jaden Reed is the last pick of the draft.
51:15Oh my gosh. My team, I got James Cook, J.K.
51:18Dobbins, Bill Krosky, and Krod are my running backs.
51:21A.J. Brown, Chris Lolawe, Luther Burden, Jordan Tyson will be on the IR, and then Malik Washington at wide receiver.
51:28Tucker Craft and Drake May are my onesies. I started with Jameer Gibbs, Jalen Warren, and Caleb Johnson, and Cam Scadaboo at running back.
51:36And then I've got Drake London, Devontae Adams, Brian Thomas Jr., Mekhi Lemon, and Michael Pittman at wide receiver, with Brock Bowers and Dak Prescott at my onesies.
51:46JSN, Jefferson, Harrison, Stribbling, Concepcion, and Bell, powerful wide receiver core.
51:50Swift, Price, Irving holding up my running backs with Juwan Johnson and Malik Willis, future MVP of the league.

53:21Oh, hold up. Matt, post it in here. Don't just say things like that.
53:25What happened? I'm working on it. Michael Wilson, three-year extension.
53:29Hold, well. Now, that's not how the show works.
53:32Man, you should have stopped on the dolphin. That's not how, that's not what he's saying.
53:37That's not how the show works. You do this.
53:40Breaking news. Now report that, but like a dolphin.
53:43Dolphin boy. Like a dolphin. Heep. Oh, he's trying.
53:46He's trying hard. Come on, Keith. You can do it.
53:50Heep. He can't. Get it out. Come on. We believe in you.
53:54It's starting so soon. Get it out. I'm done.
53:57What happened? All right. Oh, he gave up. Schmadam Schmafter, beat reporter I will not name.
54:02Cardinals reached an agreement Wednesday. So I guess it happened yet.
54:06The agreement happened yesterday with Michael Wilson. It will be a three-year extension.
54:11He's expected to sign today. So we don't have the money yet.
54:15I love that this morning. The first thing I read on Twitter this morning was Michael Wilson will bet on himself and
54:22not sign an extension with the Cardinals this year.
54:25Except he had already agreed to it. And he had already agreed to it.
54:30Bunch of liars out there. Oh, also, hey, this is really important.
54:34This is such an important PSA for the Foot Clan.
54:37When you see headlines, we talk about it. Click in.
54:41Find out what the article is. Oh my gosh.
54:44There was a situation yesterday. Or was it just yesterday?
54:47Maybe the last couple. I forget who it was.
54:50No, we won't. We won't. Someone put out. No, I'm saying the person who wrote the 32 Bold Predictions article.
54:57Totally normal thing. We had a Bold Predictions episode.
55:00They're fun. They're a great avenue to explore what could be.
55:04But that's all it is. And a bold prediction is you're trying to say something that is most likely not going to happen.
55:12It's going to grab attention. It's going to grab attention.
55:15Every single outlet out there. Yeah, there we go.
55:18Like this one. Talk about a bold prediction. Marv is finally good.
55:22There's a bold prediction. Not likely, but might happen.
55:25But finally. But as Michael Wilson signs his agreement.
55:28This Bold Prediction article, every single like blurb news outlet that breaks news, all of them grabbed different pieces from this bold
55:36news and was like, oh, this player's going to, you know, it's going to be a 1A for Blake Corum.
55:43Or there were tons of different examples of this.
55:46And it's like, guys, this is not news or journalism.
55:49You're just reading a headline and thinking, oh my gosh, I am so in the know.
55:55No, you are hoodwinked. Well, and it's like a double thing because other people write articles about it.
56:01So it's like two layers deep. Yeah. It's not just that person promoting the bold predictions.
56:06It would be like, I mean, what was one of the bold predictions on our live show?
56:12So, I mean, like the Marv one. But I mean, if you say something, yours were, what were your two?
56:19Well, I had three. Don't forget about Ramondre in week two.
56:22Oh, yeah. Quarter two. Oh, you did that, sir.
56:25You did that. That was one of the worst things.
56:29But like, you know, you wouldn't report that as news.
56:32You wouldn't report Ramondre is going to be injured during this, at this timestamp of a game, which is something that is
56:40so out of bounds for this show. It is out of bounds.
56:44But when we. Oh, Rappaport. For just a second, I thought maybe I was rooting for you and Caleb Johnson.
56:51Rappaport is saying it's 47 million guaranteed for Michael Wilson.
56:54Michael Wilson is a very, very. Brother. He's a very good player.
56:58I'm not. I'm not. And you got to pay the tax.
57:02It's just the wild. The cardinal tax. He was not good for.
57:06He was always good. He was not used. He was not productive.
57:10But will he be productive and used this year?
57:13Yeah. It's a big question. Yeah. Get that money, brother.
57:16I mean, this is this is an Alec Pierce money.
57:20You know what I mean? Right. So it's below flowers, below Pierce.
57:24But but it's also 47. 47. I mean, wide receivers make money.
57:28Good for you, man. I mean, there is still not as much guaranteed as your rookie running back, though.
57:34I just I the only good thing I'm going to say about the Cardinals this offseason is the fact that they have really, really good pieces on offense.
57:44When you it is easy to look two years into the future with a quarterback draft pick.
57:50Like, where else would you want to go? Yeah.
57:53You have a La Flora at your head coach.
57:56And then you have you'll have a new GM.
57:59You have Harrison. We hope Wilson McBride and Jeremiah Love who could.
58:03I mean, you made the comment about Jeremiah Love in the mock draft about where you could.
58:09I think you were looking at Jason there. There is an absolute world where everybody's an idiot on not taking Jeremiah Love
58:16in the top eight picks of this draft within three weeks of the season.
58:21I think that's an actual possibility. Sure. The Cardinals are going to throw the ball to the running back all the time.
58:28We're going to be down by a million points.
58:31And this dude just. Six yards every time he touches the football, if he's healthy, you know, Connor's not healthy.
58:38The Algier has not been a problem for Bijan being a top five back.
58:43And I think Love is maybe a better talent than Bijan is.
58:47I mean, you talked about the preseason scouting coming into the league.
58:51Jeremiah Love, you know, Mike, you've said it. He came in as a better prospect.
58:56Yeah. He's my favorite prospect in the recent history.
58:59Yeah. I think it's just remember how fast the NFL changes.
59:03We highlighted it when we did our mock draft offense show where you go from top ten offense to bottom offense.
59:10So you can be the worst team in football and have a pretty productive offense.
59:15I think the Cardinals will do it. That felt decently hot takey to me because I wouldn't have put him above Bijan.
59:23But I was just curious what the Felix model said.
59:26And so the Felix model scored the number one all time was Gibbs.
59:31Then Ezekiel Elliott. And then it's Jeremiah Love. That sounds fine to me.
59:35That's above then Saquon, right? That's above. It went Bijan next and Barkley McCaffrey is the rounding out the top six.
59:42Yeah. So, I mean, it's just something that these are every year we have ten things that about five weeks into the season we go, oh, duh.
59:51Oh, that's odd. I think Love is at least in contention for that.
59:56So, Mike said it. Big show tomorrow. MVP episode.
59:59And then next week, the countdown to football time.
60:02It's a time that will be had. Goodbye. Bye.
