Adonai Mitchell

PositiveSleeper35:26

Adonai Mitchell is a sneaky waiver add. He has seen 12 targets through two weeks and plays in an offense that frequently trails, providing deep-ball opportunities.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeInjury20:04

Alec Pierce is attempting to rehab a heel and ankle injury to avoid surgery, but the source suggests dropping him as he is likely headed to IR and may not be himself until next year.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveUsage7:28

Blake Corum is seeing significant work in the Rams' offense, logging 12 carries for 79 yards in Week 2 and maintaining a role in the receiving game alongside Kyron Williams.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveValue83:40

Brock Purdy is considered a great pickup on the waiver wire, though the source notes that Tyler Shuck is currently performing better for fantasy purposes.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection78:43

Bryce Young is a recommended streaming option for Week 3 against Cleveland. He ranks second in pass rate over expectation and is supported by a growing group of weapons including Jalen Coker, Tedderone McMillan, and goal-line threats like Waller and Chuba Hubbard.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeInjury17:11

Caleb Williams is considered week-to-week due to a hamstring injury.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveProjection27:56

Chuba Hubbard has been a productive asset, ranking as the RB10/RB11 through two weeks with a receiving touchdown in each game, benefiting from an improved Panthers offense.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout28:36

Denzel Boston is the top waiver wire priority. He is a second-round rookie who has secured significant snap counts and touchdown production, showing the 'special' traits of a breakout player.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveProjection14:57

With Michael Pennix Jr. taking over as the starter, Drake London becomes a more viable fantasy option, as the quarterback change offers a chance to see his true potential.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeValue80:55

The source advises against dropping Drake Maye for Tyler Shuck unless absolutely necessary, as Maye still holds long-term potential. However, for the immediate future (at Jacksonville and at Buffalo), there are at least 12 other quarterbacks preferred over him for starting lineups.

Insight page

Drew Lock

PositiveProjection79:54

Drew Locke is the recommended stream of the week, currently holding the highest passer rating in the NFL through two weeks. He is effectively funneling targets to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who maintains an elite 44% target share.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveUsage21:26

Emmanuel Wilson saw 21 carries for 92 yards and is expected to see an increase in snap share moving forward.

Insight page
PositiveUsage35:12

Emmanuel Wilson is a recommended waiver addition after logging 21 carries for 92 yards, as he may see increased snaps due to Jadarian Price's injury and fumble issues.

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

PositiveSleeper21:46

Emmitt Johnson is a must-add handcuff for Kenneth Walker managers. He has looked impressive in limited action and would command a full workload if Walker were to miss time in an offense the source trusts.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveInjury17:34

J.K. Dobbins is reported to be healthy following an injury scare in Week 2, with Tom Pelissero confirming he is good to go.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeProjection8:22

Jameis Winston struggled in relief of Jackson Dart, completing 11 of 27 passes and failing to move the offense effectively under constant pressure.

Insight page

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

PositiveUsage80:24

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is seeing an elite 44% target share in the Seattle offense. This usage rate is well above the 30% threshold typically required to guarantee a fantasy WR1 finish.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeProjection85:32

Jayden Daniels is viewed as a secure fantasy asset who does not need to be dropped, despite the team's overall struggles.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveSleeper25:53

Jonah Coleman is a high-upside waiver target after showing talent in Week 2, though his immediate value depends on the health of J.K. Dobbins and R.J. Harvey.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeInjury27:26

Jonathan Brooks is dealing with a week-to-week groin injury. He is a 'can-drop' candidate depending on roster construction and availability of an IR spot.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

NegativeValue26:58

Kenny Gainwell is a drop candidate as the backfield situation in Tampa Bay has clearly shifted to Bucky Irving as the primary back.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeUsage24:07

Kenneth Walker is on pace for 535 opportunities, which the source deems unsustainable. Andy Reid has indicated a desire to reduce his workload.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeInjury15:42

Kyler Murray has cleared concussion protocol and is set to start in Week 3 against the Buccaneers, though his recent injury history makes him a risky streaming option.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveUsage7:28

Kyron Williams remains a key part of the Rams' backfield, recording 12 carries for 85 yards and a receiving touchdown in Week 2, sharing the load almost identically with Blake Corum.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury3:43

Malik Nabors suffered a shoulder injury that popped out of place during the game; he managed to pop it back in but his status remains a situation to monitor.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveBust36:19

Marvin Harrison Jr. is struggling with effort and target volume. The source labels him the 'Meow Man of the Year' due to a perceived lack of intensity in his route running.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

PositiveDepth Chart13:39

The Falcons have named Michael Pennix Jr. the starter for Week 3 against the Packers, providing a potential upgrade for the team's passing attack.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury18:53

Mike Evans will need to be managed due to ongoing injury concerns, with the source noting his tendency to be injury-prone.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

NegativeValue41:00

Pat Freiermuth is a desperation play for managers lacking tight end production, though he lacks a clear ceiling case compared to other waiver options.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeInjury17:20

Sam Darnold is on track to practice this week, though his return for Week 3 remains uncertain.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury23:36

Saquon Barkley is dealing with a neck stinger that required an MRI. His status remains uncertain, and if he misses time, the backfield will likely split between Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeRole25:48

If Saquon Barkley misses time, Tank Bigsby is the preferred add over Will Shipley for rushing work and touchdown upside, as the source expects the team to avoid passing-heavy game scripts.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveUsage6:52

Terrence Ferguson filled in for Puka Nakua in Week 2, recording 6 catches for 54 yards and a touchdown, making him a viable fantasy option while Nakua is sidelined.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper39:03

Terrence Ferguson is a top tight end pickup, especially if Puka Nacua remains sidelined. He has the potential to provide wide receiver-level production as a secondary option.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

NegativeValue33:06

Trey Tucker is a potential streaming option due to fast-paced matchups, but the source expresses skepticism regarding his week-to-week reliability given his history of inconsistency.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveInjury18:21

Zay Flowers has a good chance to play in Week 3 against the Cowboys after resting for a week to recover from his injury.

0:00Start your engines, folks! It's time to go for a ride!
0:04Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
0:09Welcome in! Tuesday, September 22nd, Mike, the Fantasy Hitman, Jason Moore.
0:12I'm Andy Holloway. Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers. I know the date.
0:16You do know the date? I don't know. You just said it like you were telling me what date is.
0:23You knew the date already? No. You pay attention to that sort of thing?
0:27No, I didn't know. I knew it was Tuesday.
0:30Yeah, I mean, we don't pay attention to the date.
0:33Nope. We know it's Waiver Day. That's what we know.
0:36We're going to talk about waivers. We're going to talk about the fact that Jason and I were facing each other in the Listener League.
0:45Oh, you did. And he needed, I'm going to write it.
0:48You dirty dog! Diving right in. And Jason just needed 40 points, Al.
0:52Did you know this? He just needed 40 points.
0:55I did. And he had. I thought it was over.
0:58I genuinely. Before the game. And it was. Yesterday morning.
1:02Yesterday morning, I was like, oh, I lost to you in Listener.
1:06And you're like, no, not necessarily. I'm like, I need 40 points.
1:09Yeah. From two players. Devontae Adams. Devontae Adams and Jackson Dart.
1:13Jackson Dart. And I'm like, okay, that's doable. If Jackson Dart gets 25 and Devontae Adams gets 15.
1:19Now Devontae Adams got like what? 35? Devontae Adams got 35 fantasy points.
1:23Did you win? No! That was just unfair. I don't care.
1:27Sometimes you just have to laugh at how things work out.
1:30I mean, laugh to stop from crying. I mean, we are losing quarterbacks by the second.
1:35Jackson Dart. Oh, man. Goes down with an MCL spray in the report later in the game was that he was on
1:42the sidelines and he wanted to come back in the game.
1:46It doesn't seem like it's going to be some season.
1:49He just saw what happened to Caleb yesterday. Right.
1:52He's like, I'm not doing that. He's like, tell them I want it back in.
1:57Yeah. The other guy was like, do you want a towel?
2:00He's like, no, get that towel away from me.
2:03It's the full. Hold me back, guys. Hold me back.
2:07Hold me back. I'm going to fight that guy.
2:09Oh, his PR team was like calling the let him know.
2:13Let him know he wanted to go back in.
2:16Well, I mean, what do we we have like 70 snaps all time with like neighbors and Dart on the field and
2:23we just can't get these guys like neighbors got hurt.
2:26Shoulder injury popped out of place, pop back into place.
2:29That'll be a situation to monitor. The early report on Jackson Dart left MCL injury MRI today.
2:35Going to miss some time. Giants need to some sort of cleansing.
2:39There is dark spirits that was in that room.
2:42I mean, I felt so bad. Can you imagine the last one?
2:46The finals? No, because it started last year. But but here's the thing.
2:50I don't remember the last time that if I if I was a Giants fan, I would be as excited.
2:56Yes. As I was, I would say, five minutes before this game.
3:00Like you, you had the hope. Well, the Eagles game the last year, the Thursday night football, the upset of the Eagles
3:07was like that's when everything energy change. Sure. But then, you know, when when you lost neighbors and you lost Cam Scadaboo
3:14coming back this year, you're like, we have this trio of young, exciting players.
3:19You got, you know, Brian Burns. You got you've got a core.
3:23And but will it work out? Is Dart good?
3:26Is Scadaboo healthy? Is Malik neighbors going to be back week one?
3:30And week one comes around and you're like, this is it's happening.
3:33Yes. Oh, week two, we're in primetime. Right off the bat, right to jail.
3:38It was just like, I mean, yeah, your hope, your hope is is gone.
3:42Yeah. 28 to six. We didn't get Puka Nakua.
3:45He was out. So Devante Adams just went for eight for one ninety five and two.
3:51Apparently he's still good. Yeah, that that got settled.
3:53They did the worries about week one. Also a goal line opportunity.
3:57I did not think week one was prescriptive. I did you see Sean McVay come out and say, yeah, what he said about their schedule plans?
4:06He's like, or maybe like in week one, you have a dumb something coach that just messes up your team's schedule.
4:12So Terrence Ferguson filled in. That was the Jason.
4:15Yeah. Hey, hey, six for fifty four and a touch.
4:19I had picked him up in. Well, I drafted him all across the world, all across the nation.
4:24And then I dropped him after week one everywhere.
4:27And then I picked him back up everywhere. And in one league, I felt really dumb because I dropped Travis Kelsey to pick him up.
4:35And I feel a little bit OK now. I mean, I know one week to TV, but yeah, no Puka, the leading receiver in the NFL.
4:44It feels a little Jake Ferguson. Yes. Kyron Williams and Blake Corum were almost identical.
4:49Twelve carries each. Eighty five yards for Kyron. Seventy nine for Corum.
4:52And both had a role in the receiving game.
4:55Kyron caught a receiving touchdown. On the other side, it pretty much went haywire when Jackson Dart went out.
5:02Jameis Winston was bad. Eleven for twenty seven coming in.
5:05Unable to move the football. Malik Nabors one catch for one yard.
5:09And that's one hurt shoulder. Yeah, it was apparently a popped out.
5:12He popped it back in and didn't want to leave the game because they had lost Jackson Dart already.
5:19Did seem like he left the game for the rest of the game.
5:23Nightmare. Remember you asked me if I wanted like neighbors or CeeDee Lamb after week one?
5:28Yeah. And it was a very seemingly easy like, oh, it seems like the neighbor side might be better.
5:34Maybe neighbor. No. One week at a time, people.
5:37Yeah. One week at a time. I mean, you have to the amount of injuries we underwent this week.
5:43Like, you have to remember that this is this is normal.
5:47Yeah. And your team, if you survive, which the league median in our league of record was an all time low.
5:53It was like ninety one points this week. So most teams didn't score a lot of points.
5:59Yes. Well, that's I'm very unfortunate for them. That is partially true.
6:03In our league, it was a little bit more top heavy.
6:06Yeah. I think it was accelerated by one team scoring two hundred and fifteen points.
6:11The all time highest score ever in our league without having a tight end, basically.
6:16Yeah. That would be you and your disgusting face.
6:19Yeah. I mean, if I boy, I'm winning. I'm winning week one and two boys.
6:24You have. You won the boat. I mean, I have a hundred more points than Mike and Mike is second in the
6:31league and is four and oh in two weeks.
6:34But it doesn't matter because it's week two. You got to you got to hope you can survive.
6:40And it was fun. I had no stress this week.
6:43I mean, I it was it was a good time, but a long season.
6:47The the game, you know, as we start to gather data.
6:51Sure looks like even worse for Dallas of their their defense not being fixed.
6:55The Rams are going to be there perfectly fine.
6:58Their defense is going to be unbelievable. The problem.
7:01It was it was in the trenches. The Rams defensive line just would go right through the Giants could not protect whoever was the quarterback.
7:09You can look at Jameis and go, man, those numbers are are horrible.
7:14Jameis Winston was just under duress all the time.
7:16This was not. I mean, Jameis is a backup quarterback.
7:20We love him because he's fun. He's a goofy guy.
7:23He generally comes in and just doesn't care. And he gives you fantasy points.
7:27But there was nothing he could do. And this team did not have Miles Garrett.
7:32Like, I know I week one was the holy crap.
7:36Maybe the Rams are the super team that fails.
7:38I think they're going to be just fine. Well, having the lockdown corners that they have and then adding Miles Garrett to the mix.
7:46It's it's unbelievable what they're going to be able to be a dude.
7:50A nightmare for other. Yeah. And for you and for your fantasy teams.
7:55Yeah. I don't know what you're going to do is you just going to see handoffs and screen games.
8:01Against the Rams. I don't know. They're going to have to figure it out.
8:05And then they protected Stafford. Like, Stafford sat back in the pocket and just picked people apart.
8:11He was awesome. 327 and four. Yeah. It was a bounce back week for sure.
8:16Let's talk some news. News and notes from around the league.
8:19Well, the Falcons have named Michael Pennix Jr. As their starter for week three against the Packers.
8:25It'll be Thursday night. So we get to watch the Falcons in primetime.
8:29Hooray? I can't believe. Yeah? Dude, I'm genuinely so happy that Michael Pennix is playing.
8:34Like, this is the way to do it. This is the way.
8:37Now Michael Pennix is riding in on, you know, on a white stallion.
8:42Yes, he is. Just to rescue the Falcons. It is I, Sir Michael Pennix.
8:46Is it going to look very good in Green Bay on Thursday night football?
8:51It's going to look so much better than Cooper Rush.
8:54It can look bad and better, which is awesome.
8:57Well, in Drake London now, you can look at it as an option.
9:01Yeah, Kyle Pitts and Drake London. Now you're at the very least.
9:05Like, whatever you drafted, whatever you hoped or thought in your draft, now you get to find out.
9:11That's it. Right. Now you get to at least have a chance of whatever you thought when you drafted them.
9:17Maybe it is. Because the first two weeks, we've said it.
9:21Like, you have to throw that in the garbage.
9:24Cooper Rush was objectively not an NFL quarterback. He was a third string.
9:28Yeah. I mean, objectively, he was. Well, okay. Because he played NFL quarterback.
9:32Objectively, he did not play starting NFL quarterback quality.
9:35Sure. Like his little name placard. It says quarterback.
9:38With an asterisk. It's not. It's not. Kyler Murray cleared concussion protocol.
9:42We'll start in week three against the Buccaneers. Are you adding Kyler anywhere?
9:46I think so. I think he was almost my stream of the week.
9:50He would have been my number two to go with.
9:53I know it's Kyler and he's not that great.
9:56Then change your stream, sir. Hey, I told you you could go with Kyler.
10:01No, the one that you have. Well, it's the best one.
10:04Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But Kyler, this week, he's coming off a concussion, which is.
10:10Larpin over here. Historically, you know, that's not going to impact production.
10:14You know, like coming off of an ankle injury or something like that.
10:18No, his talent can impact that. For sure. But he's going on the road to Tampa Bay.
10:23And so, I mean, we just saw Deshaun Watson be okay against the Buccaneers.
10:28So, you know, you could do worse on the waiver wire.
10:31Ben Johnson said Caleb Williams would be considered week to week with the hamstring injury.
10:36He is month to month with the meme. Oh, man.
10:40Mike McDonald said quarterback Sam Darnold is on track to practice this week.
10:44Whether he returns this week is yet to be determined.
10:47I had heard week four. This would be week three.
10:50We'll see what happens. Your boy Tom Palacero reporting that J.K.
10:54Dobbins is good. Yeah, no, he's good. Don't worry about it.
10:57After week two's injury scare against the Jags. Definitely good.
11:01He's good. Zay Flowers has a good shot to play in week three against the Cowboys, Mike.
11:06We'll take that. Welcome back, Zaymond. That sounded like the plan from before is kind of like rest a week.
11:12Give him some extra time and come back. But what a nice matchup.
11:17Because they're like, guys, it's the Saints. No problem.
11:20Flowers rest up one week. We'll get this dub.
11:22We'll get you back. Oops. Maybe you should have just gone snap count.
11:27You know, like have them active and be like, we're just going to put them out there for four or five.
11:33We're going to need 45 plays. Mike Evans will have to be managed this week, said Kyle Shanahan.
11:39Andy Holloway hinted he'll have to be managed this year.
11:42Yeah. Yeah, that's true. I mean, unfortunately, Mike Evans is awesome and injury prone.
11:47So, you know, we expected this to be a bit of a bumpy ride.
11:52And when he's active, you should be happy about it.
11:55But didn't have a huge week and then hurt himself.
11:58He's made of older Laffy Taffy now. You know, it's like if you pull it, it's going to break.
12:04And that's unfortunate. You know meat. Alec Pierce will attempt to rehab his heel and ankle to avoid surgery.
12:10I don't think it's going to go well. He had a hard time coming back from the surgery.
12:16Likely to be placed on IR. They hope he can come back later in the season.
12:21But at any moment, you could find out he underwent surgery.
12:25Correct. And I think that this is a player that I would drop.
12:29I mean, if I've got a completely empty IR spot.
12:32Landmine? If I've got a completely empty IR spot.
12:35Okay, throw him there. There's no reason to drop someone when you can hold on to him for free.
12:41If not, I would not roster him for the next month hoping that he doesn't get surgery.
12:47Hoping that he's back one month from now. Then not knowing is he going to re-aggravate it when he's back.
12:53I'm not going to be able to play him right when he's back for sure.
12:58There's no way. I'm 100% with you. You don't have room on the bench to mess around with the what ifs of
13:05later in the season for Alec Pierce. It really feels like this guy is going to not be himself until next year.
13:12The Raiders, Clint Kubiak said Brock Bowers will practice this week.
13:16I think there's an expectation. Or will he, Kubiak?
13:19Oh, you don't believe anything he says? No. Because he's a liar, liar fan.
13:23But he is a liar. He is an absolute liar.
13:26There's a pair of pants that are on fire.
13:29Yeah. And they're in Las Vegas. Colts. Probably more than one pair of pants on fire in Las Vegas.
13:35That's true. Sir, what are you saying? That is probably very true in a number of ways.
13:41We will defend the honor of Las Vegas. The Colts signed former Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton.
13:46This is actually a great fit for this team.
13:49A competent wide receiver with a history with Daniel Jones that can substitute and be Alec Pierce light in this offense.
13:56They needed somebody. They needed Adonai Mitchell. Laquan Treadwell heavy.
13:59Also, Slayton probably gets to hang up on the Giants.
14:03If Malik Nabors is hurt, I would imagine they would be like, Slayton?
14:07Oh, yeah. Slayton? He's like, I got a new team.
14:10You leave me alone. Charlie Kohler and David Njoku have been placed on IR for the Chargers, who also lost an offensive lineman and defensive lineman.
14:18That means that Arande Gadsden Jr. will be the tight end one for this team starting in week three.
14:25Yep. We'll be talking about him on the waiver show today.
14:28And then, why not? Dallas Goddard. He's going to miss a few weeks with a sprained MCL.
14:34They signed Zachary Ertz, Mike's favorite tight end of all time.
14:37Wow. Because Eli Stowers couldn't possibly be expected to come in and play a role.
14:42Well, he's on the IR, so he can't be expected to come in and play yet.
14:47But that's a shame. That's a shame. We all know he's not on the IR for an injury.
14:53Correct. Correct. But just rules are rules. He's got to miss four games now.
14:57I mean, he was second round? Second round, yeah.
15:00Highly drafted and highly disappointing. And these are the same guys that went, they passed on Justin Jefferson?
15:06Yes. Is that for? Correct. Oh, for Rager. Yeah.
15:09Jalen Rager. They did scoop up Makai Lemhan, maybe?
15:12Uh-oh. Yeah, I know. They did scoop up the guy with like, but they generally make good decisions.
15:18They do usually. They've got a couple whiffs and they could have a couple more here.
15:23All right. We'll take a break and we'll jump into the waiver wire.
15:27Let's do it. Waiver Wire. Presented by T-Mobile. Wasn't there a moment this week where, you know, when the games were going
15:34on and we were watching the players that we thought maybe it'd be like a really good waiver wire week?
15:41I don't think this is a very bad waiver wire week.
15:44It's certainly better than week one. Well, let's start at the running back position, Jason.
15:49Who are your top names? Mike, where are you guys looking?
15:53Yeah, I mean, I think that the hot name right now is going to be Jonah Coleman.
15:58I'm a little cautious about it. Here's why we love Jonah Coleman.
16:02First of all, we loved the three of us all.
16:05Denver Broncos rookie. Denver Broncos rookie running back who was, at least Mike and I, his number two running back in rookie rankings prior to the draft.
16:14I think he's very talented. Then he got the opportunity in the fourth quarter.
16:18J.K. Dobbins gets injured late in the third. R.J.
16:21Harvey was not in the game. And Jonah Coleman went out there.
16:25The team was down when he basically got in there.
16:29They went and won in the fourth quarter with Jonah Coleman playing the majority of snaps, getting the majority of reps.
16:35He had a nice touchdown that was, you know, on him.
16:39He had a great veteran move where he's, you know, he breaks to the outside, gets the first down, and then slides in bounds.
16:47You know, Sean Payton's going to be like hot and bothered by that.
16:51They win the game. And so he really showed out.
16:54He showed out in the offseason program to the tune where in preseason they pulled him quickly, and Payton was like, we've seen enough.
17:02This guy's good. So everything says this talented player who just did great things and is behind two injured running backs, that's a good pickup.
17:10The cold water I would throw on it is we just talked about J.K.
17:14Dobbins. Because apparently his hamstring is good, according to Pellisaro.
17:18So he should be back. R.J. Harvey might be back.
17:21And while R.J. Harvey was missing this game, now Jonah Coleman earned more work.
17:25But when we went into this game, R.J. Harvey wasn't there.
17:29And Jonah Coleman barely played the first three quarters.
17:32I mean, it was J.K. Dobbins. And I thought it would be like, I thought Coleman would at least play the R.J.
17:39Harvey role. Tyler Bidet. Yeah, he really didn't. Now, once J.K.
17:42Dobbins went down, Jonah Coleman very much out-snapped Bidet in the fourth quarter and was special.
17:48So I don't know. What are you guys bidding on a player like that in that situation?
17:53I'm not going overly hard in the paint, but this is a situation that could develop over the next couple weeks.
18:00The offseason, I felt like the largest threat to J.K.
18:03Dobbins was not R.J. Harvey. It was Jonah Coleman.
18:06But he needs the door to open for him to show on an NFL Sunday that he can be the guy.
18:13I didn't necessarily find myself convinced that he – I mean, he played well, but I don't think that there was something
18:20that I saw that was like, oh, gosh, this guy took over the entire backfield.
18:25The thing for Coleman, though, is he's a very versatile running back.
18:29He's a three-down guy where J.K. Dobbins, for the Denver Broncos, not really used in the passing game.
18:34They know that when defenses know when Harvey's on the field, you're probably going to throw.
18:40So I don't know if Peyton desires to have that running back where he can put him on the field and the
18:47defense has to at least take a split second to really understand what type of offensive play is going to happen.
18:53If Dobbins is back, I think he goes right back into being the guy.
18:58This is a situation, though, of J.K. Dobbins hurt all the time, hurt last week.
19:03Yes, he's good to go now, but I'm not picking up Coleman to play him.
19:08I'm picking up Coleman right now in the event maybe next week.
19:12Now it's like, oh, crap, Coleman's a full fab dump.
19:15Because Dobbins is out for the year or something?
19:18I want to get ahead of it. Yeah, I'm more on Jason's side.
19:22I'm only spending a few bucks. No, I'm not going heavy.
19:25I'm only spending a few bucks of fab. Yeah.
19:28But if I had Dobbins, I would make it a priority.
19:32Yeah, that makes sense. Also, we have to be honest that, I mean, Dobbins can't stay healthy.
19:37Yeah. I know the injury-prone label gets talked about like, oh, that's not a real thing.
19:43He invented it. It kind of is a real thing.
19:46I'm actually – so I remember over the last couple years all the online docs hating the injury-prone label.
19:52I'm so convinced – I'm doing a study soon in the next couple months because I feel like it's absolutely a thing.
19:59I'm just saying that – There's a couple guys that you could say that about.
20:04Yeah, and maybe the data will say that it's wrong, but I feel like future injuries, one of the best predictors might be past injuries.
20:12Yeah, but it's just like – It just depends on the type.
20:16I think there's a lot of nuance to it.
20:19Yeah. Matt Forte. The difference between breaking your fibula or like constantly pulling your hamstring.
20:24I mean, those are – one's a like biological problem you got.
20:27Jordan Tyson absolutely has a hamstring problem. Yeah. Mike Evans, hamstring problem.
20:31Nico. Nico has had repeated issues in his training.
20:34Will Johnson, cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals, fell in the draft, not because of how good he is, but because teams were worried about his medicals.
20:43Got hurt last year. Got hurt this year. It's like – but my counterpoint was like Matt Forte was injury-prone until he wasn't.
20:50Frank Gore. Keenan Allen was – Keenan Allen. Keenan Allen was injury-prone.
20:54Yeah. And now he's going to go down in the Hall of Fame with some of the most – We're hoping players
21:01like Christian Watson changes in their training, establish them to be more healthy.
21:05To be honest, if I was – I don't think the running back names are pick up and start guys.
21:12No, they're not. Other than potentially Emmanuel Wilson because of the fact that I don't think the George Salami situation is ever going to happen.
21:20And I think Jadarian Price's shoulder injury and fumble could cause the team to say, hey, let's ride the hot hand.
21:26Emmanuel Wilson, 21 for 92. Probably sees more snaps.
21:29Oh, the Helani Hive is just wrecked right now.
21:32We're all four of them? Yeah. There was a loud – Me and Kyle in shambles.
21:37Yeah. There was a loud group. And I just – I was like, there's no way.
21:43Yeah. No, it was Emmanuel Wilson. Yes. I think Emmitt Johnson is the best addition to hold.
21:48Yes. 100,000%. Because you – here's the thing is like Jonah Coleman is a great like player.
21:54But you saw it this past weekend. He played 40% of snaps when there was no Dobbins and no Harvey.
22:00And then Tyler Bidet gets worked in and I've been annoyed by Peyton's use of the running back rotation anyways.
22:07If the formerly injury prone occasionally – I mean, he's going to be getting a big workload.
22:12If Kenneth Walker goes down, I think we've seen enough from Emmitt Johnson already to say he would be – first of all, he'd get all the work.
22:21Yeah. Second of all, he looks really good. He looks great.
22:25And third, it's an offense I trust right now.
22:27So to me – like he's 36% rostered. So I'm bringing it up because it's like, okay, maybe he's rostered in some of your leagues.
22:36But if you have Ken Walker, he's a must add.
22:39Like a must add. I agree. Now, not later when he's, you know, full fab dump because Ken Walker goes down for a week.
22:47Add him now. There's a chance – Andy Reid came out this morning and said, you know, we're going to give him more work.
22:54Like, we don't want Ken Walker to have to have this level of a workload.
22:59So to me, he's kind of my number one of the list.
23:03He is an absolute must be rostered in 100% of leagues.
23:07I think he could possibly develop into a player that you could start, you know, as like in a double flex.
23:13Sure. For instance, this week, right? They're playing the Dolphins, I believe, is the matchup.
23:18So it's like you're telling me when the Chiefs are up, how much is Walker playing in the fourth quarter of that game?
23:26Genuinely. Like, how many touchdowns is Emmett going to get in the fourth quarter?
23:30Probably one. Yeah, Emmett should be rostered. And the Saquon Barkley's injury, we still need more information.
23:36Like he was – we got the news two days ago he was going to get an MRI on his neck for the stinger.
23:43Is everything okay with Saquon Barkley? I know he went back in the game, but if he has – like if he
23:50has an injury to his neck that needs some time off, then Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley will work themselves in as well.
23:58By the way, real quick sidebar injury update. I just want to mention this because it was – it came out earlier
24:05this hour just that Sean McVay is not sure if Puka Nakua is going to play in week three right now.
24:12Oh, really? It's definitely up for grabs right now.
24:15It came out yesterday off air that Andy believes that there's a chance any minute we hear about a hernia surgery.
24:21I'm just worried about sports hernia when I start to hear – like when I hear multiple reports – Well, here's the problem.
24:29Hip is the big report, but then like Sean McVay says groin.
24:33And you start getting into that sports hernia abdomen area where I just – look, it's not reporting.
24:39It's just speculation. It's just writing on the wall.
24:41It's just like what's going on? Like maybe it's the hip because he compensated for something in training camp.
24:48I do not know. But there's another player that has had frequent injury problems.
24:52Dude. Apparently, Devontae Adams is capable of being the number one.
24:56Yeah. He's okay. He's okay. And we said throw out that week one Australia game and turns out, yes, that was – They were just tired.
25:04Yeah. They were tired from flying a minute ago.
25:07Back to the Kenneth Walker-Emmett conversation. Oh, okay. Go ahead.
25:10So, I just was looking this up because I know Kenneth Walker's been an absolute bell cow beast the first two weeks.
25:17He's on pace for 535 opportunities. That is impossible.
25:20Not enough. Bone bros! Now to the Saquon Barkley backup situation because Saquon dealt with a stinger before and missed games.
25:27And he's going to get a second look at this.
25:30He came back at the game and so it's like, okay, maybe it's not a big deal.
25:36Or maybe he misses time. If he misses time, there's going to be a big debate.
25:41And I think right now there's going to be an over-mad rush to the waiver wire for Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley.
25:48Here's how it worked. Tank Bigsby did not get all the work.
25:52I thought that if Saquon went down, Tank gets the role and will be a league winner.
25:57That was not the case. Basically what happened is Tank got the rushing work and Shipley got the passing work.
26:04They kind of were the exact inverse on routes versus snaps.
26:07In turn of routes because Bigsby still got a couple targets.
26:11Yes. But the routes were going to ship. The routes and the snaps, they were sharing them.
26:16Obviously, I mean, it's so funny. I was going to say, you don't expect over the last couple years the Eagles to
26:23be in these down situations where they're throwing the ball.
26:27To the Tennessee Titans. But then there's like, if they're down to the Titans, who?
26:32So anyways, I think it's a split. I'd rather have Bigsby.
26:35If I have to pick one of those two, it would be Bigsby because I don't expect them to be in that level of passing situation going forward.
26:44And the touchdown upside is going to be on with Bigsby.
26:48So, I mean, there's a lot of names that are not really startable assets.
26:52Would you drop Jonathan Brooks or Kenny Gainwell right now to pick up any of those names?
26:58Kenny Gainwell, I would drop. Who, by the way, two fancy points and three.
27:02Yeah, Kenny Gainwell. That situation feels like it's shaking out.
27:05That Bucky Irving is just, he's going to be the man.
27:091A, 1B is nonsense. It's Bucky. What a pick, Jay.
27:12And then, yeah, your clairvoyance there right before your draft pick of knowing what was going to happen.
27:18I saw the future. He got one of those magic angles.
27:22On the clock. Brooks is hard because of, do we have any more injury update?
27:26I think that he's going to rehab. It was week-to-week groin injury.
27:30I would, it's just hard to see him going from.
27:34Yeah, I guess I'm willing to move on from him.
27:37So, IR spot, hopefully. Tuck him in the out.
27:40That would be great if you've got it. It's a tough situation.
27:44I think he is not, certainly not a must drop and certainly a can drop.
27:48Because if he was on waivers, just depends on my roster.
27:52I would be willing to pick him up. When does Chuba get respect?
27:56Never. Never. I mean, he should. A couple years ago he got respect and he got a big payday.
28:02Well, by them, but I don't think by the fantasy community ever.
28:06He got it from you. Do you realize that, yeah, from me?
28:10Yeah. Yeah, Chuba Hubbard, RB10 and RB11 through two weeks.
28:13Yes, he has played very well. He has a receiving touchdown in both weeks.
28:18And the Panthers are cooking. It's not just the like, oh, respect Chuba.
28:22It's the Panthers are, this is a team reborn.
28:25Bryce Young looking good. Bryce Young looks like an actual legit quarterback through two weeks.
28:30We're going to talk about him. Wide receivers, guys.
28:33Bryce, to me, it's Denzel Boston. Cleveland wide receiver.
28:36Has looked the part through two weeks. 42% rostered.
28:38Went five for 95 and a touchdown. He's my number one pickup.
28:42Of the week or a wide receiver? A wide receiver.
28:46Okay. And actually, let me see. I think that might be, he might be my number one overall.
28:51Yeah, I think that unless you're the, like the J.K.
28:55Dobbins manager. Then it's Coleman. But yeah, I think Denzel Boston is my number one pickup because he's got everything that you want.
29:02You know, he's got the snap count. Not everything.
29:05Maybe. Quarterback? He did this week. One of the highest rated passers in the game this week.
29:10Yeah, this week. Do you believe he has the quarterback you want?
29:14Just say it. The quarterback I want? You said he doesn't have everything you want.
29:19I'm just using your words. He's trying to get a sound.
29:23I just want you to say that you love Deshaun Boston.
29:26He's got a quarterback I hate. Okay. There we go.
29:29Denzel Boston, though, Young. Yeah. Highly drafted. Big, physical.
29:32Touchdown threat. Which, look, if you have a quarterback you don't love, you want somebody that's going to get into the end zone.
29:40I don't need, like, frankly, Concepcion right now is running around like Chimray DK in Tennessee did in his rookie year.
29:47I want the guy that's got the big playability that they take a shot to that can break a tackle.
29:53And he's in elite company right now. Rookie wide receiver since 2000 with 90-plus percent of snaps and a touchdown in their first two games.
30:01He was a... Abuka and Boston. That's it. He was a touchdown machine in college.
30:06That was, like, his... I feel like his superpower.
30:09And so far, it's translated to the NFL. Do you guys disagree?
30:13Is there a better wide receiver for you? I do.
30:16He's my number one wide receiver. He's my number two wide receiver, personally.
30:20I have Dontavian Wicks above him, simply because with the Dallas Goddard injury, I mean, we've seen, I think, the better team, the better quarterback.
30:28He's on the field a lot. His yards per run are outrageous.
30:32Yeah, he can go deep downfield and get a bomb touchdown the way that Denzel Boston can.
30:38You know, last week it was five for 74.
30:40He's playing the snaps, running the routes on a better offense for a better quarterback.
30:45And the targets should be perhaps going up without Goddard.
30:49So I would put Wicks, then Boston. But certainly those two are in a tier of their own from the other wide receivers.
30:56Yeah, so Wicks' snaps did go down. I mean, the opportunities were still there.
31:00So it's interesting of what they did between week one and two.
31:04They had to get Cooper. Yeah. Why I'm in on the Boston side is because this isn't out of nowhere.
31:11He is a second-round rookie. When rookies produce, we want to be aggressive.
31:15We want to go after them just in case.
31:18They're a star. Special guys just show up. He had the preseason.
31:22Yeah, and exactly that. During the training camp of preseason period, his drumbeat was very steady and very loud.
31:28Like you had some beat reporters saying, I think Denzel Boston might end up as the number one wide receiver on this
31:35team, which felt like just absolute blasphemy because they drafted Casey Concepcion, who seemed like the better prospect, who was drafted in the first round.
31:43So I'm on Andy's side here of the team environment.
31:46Obviously, much, much better for Dontavian Wicks. But young player breaking out after his breakout was predicted by their media, I would be decently aggressive going after Boston.
31:55I don't mind it at all. If you want to take Boston for the high upside, I certainly think Boston has a higher ceiling case than Dontavian Wicks.
32:04Do you believe that there's any chance that Deshaun Watson continues to ascend or approve?
32:09I do not. I would find that doubtful. Yeah, it's hard because he's a player that played at a level that was
32:16so outrageous at one point that you're like, maybe the answer is you get the Russell Wilson post-Seattle version of Deshaun Watson.
32:23Which that's what Cleveland has received to this point.
32:26They have received. Other names, do you have interest in Keon Coleman at all?
32:31Yeah. I mean, we don't know the DJ Moore injury for sure, whether he'll be out there or not.
32:37But he looked... You mean just for this week?
32:40Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I think he's back and he'll be back soon.
32:44Yes. This is not... I don't think Keon Coleman is a rest of season great play.
32:49You know, Rashad Bateman, these type of guys. Keon Coleman, Bateman is like, what are the starters?
32:55Is A Flowers playing? Is DJ Moore playing? And if they're out, these are break glass in case of emergency.
33:01You can start them in your league. How about some respect for Trey Tucker?
33:06Yeah, Trey Tucker was the name I would bring up.
33:09He's my number two right now. Kirk Cousins is playing very good football.
33:13He's Kirk-in. Kirk O'Chains is... I like that. Yeah, it wasn't your best.
33:17It's like cooking and Kirk-in, but it sounds dirty.
33:20Oh, yeah. Sounds a little pretty. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
33:24We're moving on. Sounds kind of weird. But it's like Trey Tucker has actual staying power.
33:29He's flashed from time to time. And if he gets really consistent quarterback play...
33:33Do you remember him in week three of last year?
33:37Yeah. Was that like the multi-touchdown game? Three. Three touchdowns in 145 yards.
33:41He has two or three of these games a year, but we have seen him for now four years.
33:47So chasing Trey Tucker, that's tough. That is really tough.
33:50For a week-to-week basis. When we had the fancy time machine, it was like...
33:55I went team by team, and it was the Raiders.
33:58It was like, this is an environment where a wide receiver can pop off.
34:03I ended up going Jack Besh simply because Trey Tucker, we've seen him pop off and then disappear.
34:08I didn't know if he was reliable enough or Jalen Naylor.
34:12The matchup against New Orleans this week, I expect a fast pace of pay, a lot of fast...
34:18Play. Thank you. Place of play. No. No. No.
34:21No. Hold on. I'm going to try this over.
34:24All right. Give me the camera. Your brain is cooking.
34:27All right. It's cooking. It's a fast pace of play in New Orleans, and so I expect a lot of points scored.
34:34I'm fine taking a shot on Trey Tucker, but if you told me after the game it was Jalen Naylor or Jack Besh, it's like, oh, okay.
34:43Well, Bowers is returning, most likely. Sure. Sure. And then, you know, there's a chance that Caleb Douglas misses time for Miami, if you care.
34:51About Malik Washington or Chris Bell? Sometimes you got to get gross.
34:55Chris Bell only had 41% of snaps. It's definitely Washington over him right now.
34:59Yes. See, by the Denzel Boston argument, I would still probably rather roster Chris Bell just for the upside.
35:05Yeah, but if you had to start one this week.
35:08If I had to start one, yeah, Malik Washington.
35:11And then Darius Slayton, do you care about adding him after the, you know...
35:16Honestly, the biggest name of all the other names that I think is actually near the top of my list of that.
35:23Can I guess it? Yeah. Adonai Mitchell. It's Adonai Mitchell.
35:26Yes, that's a good name. I like Adonai Mitchell.
35:29I've said this before. 12 targets, 6 for 63.
35:32The passing volume in the offense that you talked about getting from Geno Smith, a team that I think frequently will be playing from behind.
35:40He's on the Jets. He's going to be playing on the road in Detroit, which is...
35:45They lost more quarters. Of course. He gets the deep opportunities as well.
35:49Then he's going to connect on some of those.
35:52So for me, Adonai Mitchell is actually one of the sneakier plays.
35:56Like I'd put him outside of Boston and Wicks.
35:59I think he's my 3. He's my 4. Okay.
36:02Why don't we take a quick... Oh, some drop candidates.
36:05You ready for these? Yeah. We talked about Alec Pierce.
36:08How about Wandale? Yeah. What about Quentin Johnston? Yes.
36:11Probably. Cortland Sutton? Yeah. That's disgusting, but I don't think he's very good.
36:16What about Marvin Harrison Jr.? Jason. Let's go to Jason's game.
36:19See, you know what's going around right now? He's still hiding.
36:23What's going around right now is a lot of college film of Marvin Harrison Jr.
36:27It looks so good. Who has a slightly different level of energy.
36:31Maybe it's just because he's not running against professional DBs.
36:35I don't really know. It's not the DB. It's like the effort.
36:38I want to kind of like balance it a little bit because I went back and watched the film this past week and there were...
36:47Like, I don't know what to do here. The team has been like, okay, they're asking McVeigh or LaFleur.
36:53They're like, hey, why can't you get him some easy touches?
36:56And if you listen to his answer, he's like, well, look, it's easier said than done.
37:01Like, Trey McBride is the best short area, middle of the area receiver in the game.
37:07You have so many offensive plays. Half of those are runs.
37:10It's like, do you want to just script up a screen pass and waste it down on Marvin Harrison Jr.?
37:17He ran some downfield routes. Did he say waste it down?
37:20No, no, no. I added that. That was the insinuation, though.
37:24We have guys that do that well. Why do it with this guy who's supposed to threaten down the field?
37:30And it was logical. It's like Kendrick Bourne and Trey McBride should be in the short area middle of the field.
37:37You should be using Marv in a different way.
37:40But Marv is not putting in the effort for the type of routes that he's been given.
37:45But he did on some place. He did on some.
37:49But there are so many from week two as well.
37:52Yeah. Where it's just like, he looks like he is not giving a fart.
37:56And I mean, he's not getting any targets. I don't.
38:00It's not like he's failing on the targets. It's a bit of a like, if you never get the ball, I'm not
38:07expecting wide receivers to not be divas in that regard.
38:10He runs routes, fully not expecting to get the ball.
38:13He is not out there wanting the targets. He's not a dog.
38:17No. No. There is a. That's two. Through two weeks, we do have a leader for.
38:22Cat of the year. Yeah. What did we call it?
38:25Mason Taylor was the winner of that last year.
38:28I don't remember what we called the actual award.
38:31What did we call it, Kyle? Cat player of the year?
38:35Something stupid? Maybe Meow Man. Meow Man. Meow Man.
38:38Yeah. Okay. We're pretty good about that. Marv. Meow Man of the year right now.
38:42Marv. You better get it together. Meow Man Harrison Jr.
38:46for sure. Right now. Yeah. We'll take a break.
38:49We'll talk tight ends, quarterbacks, streams of the week.
38:51Back into the waiver wire and maybe just maybe we found a position with a few diamonds in the rough.
38:58I think it's interesting. Tight ends. You know, Terrence Ferguson with the potential Puka Nakua update.
39:03Yeah. I've been missing another week. And just like there's a chance he has value that persists beyond Puka's return.
39:10Arundi Gadstin taking over as the number one, you know, tight end in Los Angeles, where, by the way, the drops were
39:17outrageous from like Trey Harris and Brennan Thompson and even Njoku and those guys.
39:21Like you could use another target beyond Ladd McConkie there.
39:24And then Darren Waller, who just seems to have a nose for the end zone.
39:29Man. Nothing else in two weeks, but, you know, 17 yards, 33 yards, whatever it was the first two weeks.
39:36It's where a walrus belongs. Near the. In the end zone.
39:39Near the end zone. Is that just his habitat?
39:42That's the habitat. Okay. All right. Other names to add to that?
39:46I don't think that there are. I mean, TJ Hawkinson has done.
39:50No. He's had a few plays this year. I don't think there's names you need to add beyond those three because those are three good pickups.
39:58And the order of those three to me is like Gadsden, I think, has the clearest path right now with the other two tight ends injured.
40:07He had the talent he showed in his rookie season and he's forced onto the field.
40:12If I knew that Puka was getting a hernia surgery, Terrence Ferguson would probably be my number one overall of all positions this week.
40:20I would take him over Boston, over Jonah Coleman.
40:23He is, I believe, the fill-in. And so I would say this, the same way that you're saying if you had J.K.
40:30Dobbins, you would go out and pay a little bit more for Jonah Coleman.
40:34If I am the Puka manager, I know it doesn't fill in my wide receiver slot, but when Puka is gone or,
40:41for that matter, if I'm the Devontae Adams manager, I might, you know, he's older if he were to miss time.
40:48I feel like you have a tight end who will put up wide receiver numbers in the situation where he is the number two option on that team.
40:57Any other thoughts on tight ends, Mike? Just, it's disgusting.
41:00It's nasty. But the muth, I mean... You can't trust the other players to catch the football there.
41:06Most drops, right? Most drops in football. Aaron Rodgers is in the top five.
41:11Yeah. In the... He's also in the top five players I would drop if I had him on my team.
41:17The next four weeks, you know, Cincinnati, Cleveland, the Colts, Tampa Bay, you know, it's...
41:22You don't really have a ceiling case here like Darren Waller or Ferguson hitting and probably even Gadsden.
41:28But if you're... If you've just been getting no production out of your tight end, then the muth could help you out.
41:35But defensively, there are a couple of juggernauts available in a majority of rosters or on the majority of leagues right now.
41:42The Vikings are playing great defense. They play Tampa, Miami back to back.
41:46And the Chiefs are playing great defense and play Miami, Las Vegas back to back.
41:51You're going to start to... There are teams I'm targeting right now.
41:55Like playing Miami is one of them. Playing Tennessee, playing Atlanta, playing Washington, I think may turn into that.
42:01Good. I'm still fine targeting Cleveland. Cleveland. Show me more than one week.
42:05Absolutely Cleveland. Yes, absolutely. So those are some targets.
42:08But, you know, the Giants have Tennessee this week.
42:11Green Bay has Atlanta on Thursday night football. Michael Penix may be better than Cooper Rush, but he has no problem turning the ball over.
42:19Right. So I think the Green Bay defense this week is a good one.
42:24And I think that's where I would probably leave it in terms of...
42:28Yeah. Green Bay is a really nice pickup to me because right now they've got Atlanta and then they've got Baker who...
42:35The Tampa Bay Buccaneers used to look like, you know, the first half of last year and the year prior.
42:41Oh, I don't want to play against them. They have not been good.
42:46And then at that point, Micah Parsons will be able to come off of IR and that defense should get a boost.
42:53So... And they might have Chicago without Caleb. We'll see.
42:56And then, you know, it gets a little tougher after that.
42:59But... And, you know, generally we focus the waiver wire on the, you know, like your running backs and your wide receivers.
43:07My number three pickup for the week is a quarterback.
43:10So, who's going to be talked about here? Oh, I was going to ask.
43:14By not me. Okay. That was the waiver wire presented by T-Mobile.
43:18When you're updating your roster right before kickoff, you've got coverage you can count on.
43:23Just another reason. Game days are better with T-Mobile.
43:26Check it out at T-Mobile.com slash membership. Full stream ahead.
43:29Well, we'll just let Jason talk first. In terms of streaming quarterbacks, 48% rostered.
43:34Tyler Shuck. Yeah. Tyler Shuck is out there. He's available in way more leagues than he should be.
43:39They are... The Saints are number one in pace of play, which is what we...
43:44This is real tough. You can't get that one to do.
43:48Pace of play is a tough one today. But that was what we expected with Kellen Moore.
43:53He's always done this. And they're three-point home favorites.
43:56This is their home opener. Right now, he has been on fire.
44:00Is he leading the league in passing yards? In passing yards, yes.
44:04Yeah. I mean, in NFL history, quarterbacks with 90-plus attempts, 600-plus passing yards, and a 68% completion percentage through their first two weeks.
44:112015 Tom Brady and 2026 Tyler Shuck. He's also running the ball.
44:15Well, I think this could be a rest-of-season fantasy option.
44:19Yes. And that is not what usually the full stream ahead...
44:22I have my regrets. On dropping him? Yeah, because I dropped him when I did that trade last week.
44:28And so I lost... You know, I picked up Emmitt Johnson and Tucker Kraft.
44:33But by extension, if you trade two for one, you've got to drop somebody.
44:37And I regret it. And I wish I had dropped Pat Bryant.
44:41And I picked up Tyler Shuck. Yeah. And I'm very happy about it.
44:45Two games on the road. He is currently the quarterback five.
44:49Yeah. I mean, it's been... And what's going to change?
44:52Like, he's already... What's going to change is he's going to get Jordan Tyson back.
44:57That's exactly why I think Tyler Shuck is such an important pickup right now.
45:01Now, yes, in single QB, you can waver your way through.
45:05Like, you can find guys off of the wire.
45:08But there is a chance with Jordan Tyson coming back that Tyler Shuck gives us a truly special season.
45:14I think it... I wish I could disagree after dropping him.
45:18This was a player for the Foot Clan to be aware of that was on Mike's board...
45:23Yes. For a long time as a my guy.
45:26And then when some of the injuries happened, then it was like, okay, he got moved to the fantasy MVP.
45:32He wasn't going to be a my guy, but he was going to be his fantasy MVP.
45:38And then Jordan Tyson re-aggravated the hamstring. He's like, okay, I can't do that.
45:42But this is a... Not just a, oh, the last two weeks have been good.
45:47We didn't see this coming. This path was there.
45:50So I actually have my worries about him this week against Las Vegas.
45:54I've talked about the Las Vegas pass rush. And I want to flag the fact that things are going to get harder
46:01for Tyler Shuck because Calvin Banks Jr., their stellar tackle, who had a fantastic rookie season.
46:07He just went out for... And he's going to IR.
46:10It's going to be a long-term injury. Short-term? Or the rest of the season?
46:14I don't know if it's been determined yet, but it's going to be a long...
46:19Do you have to do that still? So I thought post-COVID they got rid of that.
46:24Yeah. But then I saw a bunch of reporting that people were going on a short-term IR.
46:30Well, before the season. He has ankle surgery. This is not going to be short.
46:35This is going to be a long... No, he's going to be out for a while.
46:40He's out indefinitely. It was a high ankle sprain, but he needs surgery for it.
46:45And so it's going to take some time. I'm just bringing it up because the one time that we saw Tyler Shuck...
46:52Tyler Shuck had an awful first half. Yes, he did.
46:55In week one. And the reason he did was because he was under constant pressure in the first half of that game by Aiden Hutchinson.
47:03So when you add Max Crosby in there... Look, he may overcome this week.
47:08I'm just saying the Raiders through two weeks... I've liked what I've seen on the defensive side of the football.
47:14And this week will be interesting. But Tyler Shuck, hopefully he can overcome the offensive line.
47:19He's got good matchups for the most part until the bye week.
47:23So great pickup. Bryce Young, the other big name that's broken out so far.
47:28There are 42% rostered. Plays Cleveland this week. Carolina is very...
47:31I mean, the story is very similar to the Tyler Shuck story.
47:35They are throwing the ball a ton. He's second in pass rate over expectation.
47:408.9 yards per attempt. Healthy Jalen Coker and Tedderone McMillan and goal line weapon in Waller and Chuba Hubbard.
47:46They have some pieces. Leggett down the field last week.
47:49And Cleveland's defense has struggled. So we'll talk more about Carolina in general tomorrow.
47:54But that is my stream of the week. And my stream, I'm going with the Seattle quarterback.
47:59Yeah. I don't care who it is. If Sam Darnall is back from his butt injury, then fantastic.
48:05But Drew Locke is... He doesn't like that description.
48:08He's butt hurt. Okay. Nice. I mean, like... Literally.
48:11It's a fact, Jack. By the way, Drew Locke, the highest rated passer through two weeks in the NFL.
48:17That's exactly the point is Drew Locke is playing well.
48:20Drew Locke knows where to butter the bread. He's like, hey, in Arizona.
48:24That JSN guy, I'm going to throw him the ball.
48:27I mean, what is Jackson's target share right now?
48:30Oh, it's got to be darn near 50. It's 100%.
48:34It is 44%. 44%. That's how... There is a wide receiver with a 44% target share.
48:39And it works. If you get to 30%, which is an outrageously high number.
48:43If you get to 30%, you are almost guaranteed to be a fantasy wide receiver one.
48:48And 44%. And how does it change? It doesn't need to.
48:52And now he plays Washington. So, it's going to be great.
48:55Yeah. It's wild. Would you drop Drake May? Dude, man.
48:59That is tough. To pick up Tyler Shuck. I know.
49:02I know. I know. I know. That's really hard two weeks to let go of the preseason.
49:07Yeah. I mean, if I have to... I don't think I would do it.
49:12I don't think I'd do it. If I've got one roster spot and I have no one else to drop, and I
49:19either have to start Drake May or drop him to play Tyler Shuck, I would make that transaction.
49:25Outside of that, I would roster two quarterbacks. Hopefully, you've got another wide receiver, a backup running back, or someone you could drop and roster both.
49:33Because I do think bright days are ahead for Drake May.
49:37It might be a long time. It might be until A.J.
49:40Brown is back, which I expect him to miss six weeks after the first...
49:45Drake May plays at Jacksonville this week, and then next week is at Buffalo.
49:49Does that alter your... I will say that I think both this week and next week, there will be 12 other quarterbacks
49:57I would rather start than Drake May. They should trade for Keyshawn Booty.
50:01Oh! By the way, just so the world knows how much the sentiment on a player changes with another week of validation,
50:08I tried to trade Tyler Shuck to people last week.
50:11I mean, you can go over to Deucer's Alley.
50:14Every person sitting in Deucer's Alley got offers for Tyler Shuck.
50:17Any regrets over there? I do. Oh, sure do.
50:20Matt said, Brock Purdy's on the waivers. We don't need Tyler Shuck.
50:24Brock Purdy's good. Brock Purdy's a great pickup. Yeah, he is.
50:28But Shuck's better right now. The way you guys operate your team, I'm telling you right now, it is just...
50:34You have someone... Two brains, but no one's in charge.
50:38Someone to blame. That should be your team name.
50:40Someone to blame. Yeah, it wasn't me. Every trade that goes wrong, it's the other guy that did it.
50:47It wasn't me. And by the way, a $1 fab offer is what I offered Shuck to Al over there.
50:53And he said... They are the odd couple, man.
50:56You offered it for five. I countered for two.
50:59That's right. Which you then declined, but then offered it back for a dollar later.
51:04And I declined that. Yeah, yeah. I forgot that was the interaction.
51:08But I mean, I offered him to Mike last week.
51:11But these offers were taking place mid-game in week one.
51:14I will say to the defense of the grumpy old trolls over there, I don't know that I would take Shuck over Brock Purdy.
51:22Yeah, it's understandable. They didn't get Purdy either, though.
51:25Oh! Losers! Oh, no! You missed out on... Whose fault was that?
51:29Who's your quarterback? Neither of theirs. Well, it was Jaden Daniels.
51:32Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no.
51:35You're totally fine. Yeah, what's to worry about? You're totally fine.
51:39Right that way. Dude, he just got paid. Yeah.
51:42It's great. You can't drop that guy. Got Ibuka.
51:45They're playing for next year anyway. You and everyone else.
51:48All right. You and everyone else. This is brutal.
51:51Foot Clan, this year in the League of Record, it is brutal.
51:55Why is it brutal? Because you have... I don't get it.
51:58...the most super team we've ever seen before. And it's...
52:01Yeah. There's a couple of us with some stones, and we're not going to give up.
52:07Good. Oh, look at you. Good. I love to hear it.
52:10You can't see the path, though, can you? It's fuzzy.
52:13But we're going to get there. It's a long season.
52:17It's a long season. It's a long season. Injuries change a lot.
52:20Four or five significant injuries to Andy's team, and next thing you know, he's got a chance to lose.
52:27This will be a fun ride. It's not... The odds, I feel, are still against me, because things can go wrong, but that's no...
52:34The odds are against you. Yeah. Shut the show down.
52:38Push that button. It's disgusting. Just trying to hedge it a little bit.
52:42Imagine me talking about my dynasty team like that.
52:45What? That's ridiculous. You've got to win. Goodbye. Bye.
