PositiveProjection55:18

Carson Wentz is suggested as a deep-league streaming option against the Chicago Bears, who struggled defensively in Week 1.

PositiveRole27:50

The source expects Christian McCaffrey to return to his typical heavy workload following his recent issues with cramps.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveValue44:44

The source strongly advocates for adding Dallas Goedert, noting he was a top-three tight end last year and remains a focal point of the offense, especially with AJ Brown out. He played 95% of snaps in Week 1 and is a consistent touchdown threat.

Davante Adams

PositiveValue19:12

Davante Adams is considered a 'bounce back' candidate following a 4.1 fantasy point performance in week one.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveUsage30:36

Deebo Samuel was heavily involved in the offense with six catches for 48 yards, a touchdown, and a rushing attempt.

Insight page
PositiveUsage30:39

Despite concerns over reduced snap counts in the second half, the source maintains that Deebo Samuel's designed plays remain more valuable than snap count metrics, and he should be prioritized over DeMarcus Robinson.

Insight page

Demarcus Robinson

NegativeUsage31:11

DeMarcus Robinson saw significant snap increases in the second half, playing 24 snaps to Deebo Samuel's seven, but the source suggests he is a lower priority waiver add compared to other available options.

Amari Demercado has become the primary backup to Javonte Williams following a long-term injury to Malik Davis.

Despite a low 4.3 fantasy point performance in week one, the source classifies George Pickens as a 'bounce back' candidate.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveInjury15:37

Jalen Coker was seen in a walking boot after the game, but the injury is considered mild and he is not expected to miss time.

Insight page
NegativeProjection30:36

The source cautions against overreacting to Jalen Coker being the number one wide receiver on the week, suggesting it is not prescriptive for his season-long outlook.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout30:47

Jalen Coker is the source's number one waiver priority after an 8-for-132 performance with two touchdowns, though they advise capping FAAB spend at 12-15% due to concerns about the Panthers' offense and quarterback play.

Jordan Mason is being evaluated for a sore thumb. The source notes that while it is a minor injury, it could impact ball security.

Insight page
NegativeRole27:42

The source notes that Jordan Mason's recent usage was influenced by Christian McCaffrey playing through cramps, but expects McCaffrey to return to his usual healthy workload.

PositiveRole33:58

The source projects that Juwan Johnson will be more involved in the offense moving forward, which may limit the ceiling for other pass catchers like Devon Valey.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper46:19

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveUsage0:58

Kenneth Walker delivered a dominant performance with 23 carries for 173 yards and two touchdowns, including a passing touchdown. Insight page

PositiveBreakout47:53

Insight page

Insight page

Michael Mayer

NegativeUsage50:15

Michael Mayer is identified as a viable one-to-two week start while Brock Bowers is sidelined due to injury.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveProjection54:27

Insight page

Rachaad White

NegativeUsage24:01

The source labels Rachaad White as 'buns' following a 3.7 fantasy point performance, noting that the team appears reluctant to use him between the tackles and was quick to insert rookie Bucky Irving into the game.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeUsage11:49

The source expresses legitimate concern regarding Rashee Rice's usage, noting he only saw two targets in the season opener. While the team won easily by running the ball, there is worry that the current offensive system will not utilize him as a possession receiver in the way that previously benefited his fantasy production.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

PositiveUsage21:55

Despite a disappointing 3.1 fantasy point performance, the source argues for a bounce back for Rico Dowdle because he maintained significant snap and target volume, suggesting the issue was quality of play rather than lack of opportunity.

Sam Darnold

NegativeInjury12:57

Sam Darnold is dealing with a unique soft tissue injury described as a glute issue. He is expected to be out short-term with a return to play targeted for week four.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeValue29:31

The source debates whether to drop Tank Bigsby for Jordan Mason, noting that Bigsby would likely see more volume if the starter were to miss time, though they acknowledge the potential for Mason to carve out a consistent role.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeBust21:18

The source expresses skepticism about Terry McLaurin's season outlook following a 2.4 fantasy point performance, with one the source labeling him 'buns' while another remains hopeful for a bounce back.

Insight page
NegativeBust22:18

0:00Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
0:05Welcome in! Tuesday, September 15th. Somebody in this office is glowing.
0:08I did not think Mike could be here. You didn't ascend?
0:12You did not? I just assumed you were no longer on this.
0:16Brother? I did. Oh yeah! I'm by the crossing table, Ken Bone Brothers!
0:20These two Ken Bone Walker girls. Oh baby! Also, what is this Andy on the Ken Bone Walker?
0:25He's got him on League of Legends. I know why.
0:28I'm just saying it's not fair or true to nature.
0:31Just with Gibbs and Josh Allen and CeeDee and Aminoran and all this stuff.
0:36It's not their time right now, Andy. Listen, it took one game.
0:39Ken Bone Walker. It took one singular game. Well, hold on.
0:43Against one of last year's elite defenses. You may continue.
0:46Are they elite? I don't know. They were. I'm saying they were last year.
0:50Yes, I know. Now all of a sudden it's like, do you start running backs against them?
0:56But... No. You can start this one against them.
0:58Kenneth Walker, 23 for 173. Two touchdowns because one was technically a passing touchdown.
1:03Oh. Did you realize this? Oh yeah, yeah. It was the old fashioned Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes.
1:08We just... We bowl it. Did you see that on that play, Ken Walker said that was a really tough one for
1:15him to learn how it worked because they were watching early 1900s football plays.
1:19Yeah. Early 1900s. It was an early 1900s play.
1:22Andy Reid said Chris Berman gave him that play.
1:25I mean... Yeah, he said Chris Berman showed him that and he took it.
1:29It's always funny because I'm like, when do you decide you're actually going to use these?
1:34And then when you use them, you kind of like, you expire them to a degree.
1:39But look, it was the Ken Walker... No, you set it up so that they're watching for it and then you do something else.
1:47It was the Ken Walker show. Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
1:50Guys, he's good. He's good at football. Well, look, this is...
1:54This is like... Anybody in this room read the Lord of the Rings books?
1:58No. They're very long, right? I'm a nerd. Yeah, I've seen the movies.
2:02It takes a long time for a payoff and things like that.
2:06I feel like the Ken Walker story is... Yes.
2:09It's like a six series book set and it had some ups and some downs and some all arounds and Mike's like, I'm going to keep reading.
2:17And we're like, I don't know if you should keep reading.
2:21It doesn't seem like... The fourth book was pretty slow.
2:24The fourth book was slow and then some pages were torn out all over the place.
2:29And then, okay, it's a novelty. You win the MVP, but is he coming back to the team to share with Charbonnet
2:35or is he going to the doldrums of some other franchise?
2:39Oh, wait, Kansas City. Well, that should work. The first book, and I love on the broadcast, they said what we all
2:46assumed, which was the reason he went there, was not to win a Super Bowl.
2:50It was solely he wanted the opportunity to get all the work.
2:54Like, it basically was saying, like, oh, why were you so good in the Super Bowl?
2:59Why were you so good in the playoffs? Because he got the opportunity.
3:03And he wanted to go somewhere where he got the opportunity.
3:07Kansas City promised him the opportunity. Turns out... 375 rushing temps seems realistic if he could stay healthy, which is really going to be tough, but...
3:15Definitely is. Andy, you're... I mean, I shouldn't be talking, Mike.
3:18You talk all you want. I just, I love that.
3:21So we're in our slack. The Ken Bone brothers are celebrating.
3:25Yes, the Bone brothers. The worst. Just... I mean, how can you not be celebrating?
3:29We should go out for, like, a Bone Brothers lunch.
3:32You know what I mean? Yeah, get some bone broth?
3:36Yeah. To celebrate. I hate this. Ken Walker Day.
3:38Go over to Bourbon and Bone. Oh! Yeah. Oh, very nice.
3:42Hashtag not sponsored. Get some wings? No, I just, the slack from the haters of our office was like, yeah, I was gonna die.
3:49Oh, that, what, that's the, that's the thing? Oh no, my good player's getting too much work.
3:54I will say this, the only hope that our league of record has with Gibbs and Walker...
4:00Get out of here with that nonsense. Is simply that they're gonna die.
4:04I think your biggest problem, Andy, your legitimate biggest problem right now in our league, in our main league, is that your guys are getting too much work.
4:13Like, oh, that's... Oh, it's so good. Do you know how much that sucks for the rest of us?
4:18You know, there was this, we've had super teams in our league before.
4:22Oh, man. And the super teams, sometimes they come out in week one and they're just, you know, they're underwhelmed.
4:29Um, that did not happen. No. No, it went as planned.
4:32With a down week from HN and a down week from, uh, from Davos.
4:36Yeah, in our league, if you score 130, you should win.
4:40That's like, our scoring format, that is a great week.
4:43Right. Uh, you crossed 130. And 140. And then...
4:46And 160. And then you thought you had an okay game and then you had Ken Bone Walker and then you went to what?
4:53175-ish? Keel! Yeah. It was a delightful moment. I need to get everybody else to give up.
4:59That's the real key. I need them to just...
5:01I think you did in week one. I think they need to retire.
5:05Um, but this, it was on the back. I mean, Ken Bone, unbelievable performance.
5:10It was also, in my opinion, unbelievable to see Mahomes able to, you know, to run the football a little bit to, uh, you know, he didn't...
5:18I didn't even... I forgot this one though. He didn't even slide.
5:22Oh, the pants door drops not working, Jeremy! On it.
5:25I'm sorry. Travis Kelsey, three for 71. Look, Rashi Rice, thank goodness for the touchdown because...
5:30Uh-oh. Which was two broken tackles, which by the way, Denver did not practice tackling this off season.
5:36Ooh, they seemed like they had a little bit of issue on wrapping up.
5:40Yeah. I don't know if there was like a...
5:43They distributed like Vaseline to everybody because Bo Nix couldn't hold onto the football and they couldn't hold onto the Chiefs.
5:49It was an embarrassing performance. He did have an all-time podium quote though.
5:53Uh, he was asked... Bo Nix? Yes, Bo Nix was asked, uh, by a reporter, can you, can you walk us through the, uh, in-zone interception?
6:01And he goes, yeah, I, uh, dropped, I dropped back to pass and I threw it to the other team.
6:08It was like... I mean, super, super accurate. I mean, he did walk you exactly through what happened.
6:13The, the Broncos... Yeah, there's... There's hilariously two parts of this story.
6:17Yeah. And Emma Johnson looked awesome. Well, let me finish one thing on the Chiefs real quick because I want you to talk about the Broncos.
6:25But I just want to say, make no mistake, this is the recipe for the season for the Chiefs.
6:31It's not that Mahomes can't have bigger games, better games, whatever.
6:34The recipe was seen in this game. The recipe is run the football and be a dominant defensive force and then let Mahomes execute without mistakes.
6:42They don't have the wide receiver personnel to be a dominant passing team.
6:46I do not believe they do. What are you talking about?
6:50You saw super spry Travis Kelsey in this game.
6:53I mean, it's funny because Emmitt Johnson and Travis Kelsey were the two leading receivers, neither a wide receiver.
6:59Xavier Worthy, three catches. Thornton, zero. Cyrus, zero. Worthy was the leader in total receptions at wide receiver.
7:04And then Rasheed Rice, two catches. I mean... Man, it's one week, but I'm concerned about Rice.
7:09Oh, Rice. Your drop is fixed. Oh, yeah. I'm never going back to the pants store.
7:14Imagine owning pants right now. There was a point last night when I thought about making AI of pants exploding off of your body.
7:22I was just like... That was the pinnacle of your life.
7:25Yeah, I don't think you've got anywhere to go but down now.
7:29Last night, probably your wedding, maybe the birth of your kids.
7:33Well, I mean, you forgot super duper chance at night.
7:36That was probably better. So it's fantasy, fantasy, and then marriage and kids.
7:40Yeah, I'm not worried. I'm really concerned about that other stuff.
7:43I would say that there is legitimate concern for Rashi Rice going forward.
7:47Yes. Two targets with the Eric Biennemi system in place.
7:50I was worried about how will they utilize him?
7:53Will they have him be that kind of true possession receiver?
7:56And I don't think this is necessarily... I don't want to overreact to week one.
8:01You go back, you check the tape. They won easily running the ball, so you didn't have to throw it much.
8:08But I did have a little bit of concern or worry coming into the game that they wouldn't use Rushy Rice the
8:14way that they have the last couple years, which has been so good for him.
8:19I don't think that that has been good for the Kansas City Chiefs.
8:23It's not like a huge EPA play when it's successful enough, but it's like not explosive plays.
8:28I mean, there's a reason the Chiefs didn't make the playoffs last year.
8:33They weren't a great offense. And so, you know, TBD, he got a touchdown.
8:37I don't know if you use that as an opportunity to try to flip him.
8:42Matt has a question for you. The Falcon, a.k.a.
8:44Poop Butt, wants to know, would you trade Rasheed Rice for Parker Washington?
8:48In a heartbeat. And I think I would sprint.
8:51Yeah. In a heartbeat. And I don't think you can get that done after that first week.
8:56In any format. Yeah. In points per Rasheed Rice leagues, I would still do it.
9:01Mike, talk about the Broncos. Okay. So my question was going to be how long is Davis Webb calling plays for this team?
9:08Totally. I can't believe he made it to quarter four.
9:11Sure. Because. The next five weeks. J.K. Dobbins had one carry in the second quarter.
9:16Your main, like, and Harvey looked good. Like they were, I thought they used Harvey, you know, you have to get him in space.
9:24That, my entire argument of why I like Dobbins over Harvey is that Dobbins is a better actual running back.
9:30Harvey is, Harvey has juice. He is a weapon that can be used in the correct way.
9:35But this is a defense and it, it should be a defense and run team.
9:40Now that we, now that Dobbins is back to health, they did not.
9:44They completely abandoned the run. Uh, I think it was like three carries in the first quarter, one in the second.
9:50Then he, he had a couple or he at least one good carry in the second half, but it's like they, they
9:57kept throwing it over and over, even though it was not working.
10:01The, the, the chiefs knew what they were going to do.
10:04I mean, shout out to Pat Bryant. That was, that was pretty fun.
10:08He led the team in targets. One catch for two yards for Jalen Waddle.
10:13Yeah. That's it. Uh, they were, how about they were broken?
10:16How about Jacksonville, the Rams, the 49ers, the next three weeks for Denver?
10:20It's tough. They've got a good defense and we've seen explosive offensive like performances last year.
10:25They were sparse though. They were, they were, you know, here and there they would blow up for 40 points.
10:31And then most weeks it was like, they just did enough to squeak out a win.
10:36I did see Warren sharp tweet out just a reminder of who the Broncos beat.
10:41Yeah. In 2025, which was Trey Lance, Chris Oladuken, George, Kenny Pickett, Geno Smith, Marcus Mariota, Geno Smith, again, Davis Mills, uh, Justin Fields, Jake Browning, Cam Ward.
10:50There was a list of not great offenses that they were playing.
10:53So I know we, I still do view the Broncos as a, as a very top end defense.
10:59Yeah. Uh, but at least be open to, uh, potential in, you know, incorrect thoughts.
11:04It was so insane. Uh, they're like, Hey, Bo Nix is playing real bad.
11:08Should we try and like get them on track with some, like, let's help them out with the, uh, the run game.
11:15Like, no, we're just going to let Bo Nix keep looking terrible.
11:19Yeah. And once you got down, you were stuck and it was, it was not good.
11:24It's one week, but, um, you know, through one week, the AFC title game, uh, contenders didn't look great.
11:29Right. So it'll be very interesting. We got more news, by the way, today's a waiver show.
11:35I didn't even say it at the top cause I was too quick to get into the Ken bone Walker moment for
11:42Mike, but waivers on today's show news on today's show.
11:45I've got a little game. I want to play with you guys because is it called Ken bone Walker or, uh, no,
11:52I think I know how, cause the list is very small.
11:55Uh, I think I know how, well, that'd be a fun game to play.
11:59We could do that actually, actually wild. So it's like after you can't overreact, but you can't overreact.
12:05It's like, okay, obviously you'd take Gibbs and Bijan.
12:08Then the question starts. Well, I think I'd take Jonathan Taylor over.
12:11Okay. I think I would, uh, I would take CMC.
12:15Sure. If you, I think the list is, I mean, it's, it is, I mean, you're taking them over HN.
12:21Oh yeah. You're taking them over. We weren't before the week one.
12:25People are very excited for Gentie. I need to see him play.
12:28Not the dolphins. James cook. I think that's a question.
12:31I mean, Ken Walker got zero goal line opportunities last night.
12:35Well, he got a, what a loser. Oh, I mean, he got the target.
12:39Yeah. I just mean like you're going to have games where they're on the goal line and he's running the ball in
12:46and my homes, you know, ran one in. So let's talk some more news.
12:50News and notes from around the league. Uh, the last piece of information we got on Sam Darnold, a unique soft tissue injury.
12:57I saw, I heard glute this morning. That is quite unique and expected to be short.
13:02What is that? A glute? I haven't seen one of those in a while.
13:07I expected to be short term. I don't eat bread, so I'm not worried about it.
13:12Right, right, right. You're glute free. Oh, switch. Thank you.
13:15Mike. It was on the, it was on the, you know, on the bubble there.
13:20Come on. I liked it guys. I don't even care what's happening.
13:23Arnold is looking like waivers. I've got Ken bone Walker.
13:26Uh, week four return to play, which by the way, I did offer Mike, uh, Ken Walker for Christian McCat.
13:33Oh wait, no, it was, it was B. John and the two 11.
13:37Oh, that's right. That's what I'm like. Well, maybe that was a mistake.
13:41Maybe. Um, Darnold week four return. I'm, I, you know, Cardinals play the Seahawks this week.
13:46Cardinals play the Seahawks and drew lock this week.
13:48Okay. Um, Jim Harbaugh West goes through Arizona. It does.
13:52And we'll find out cause it's in Arizona. Lad McConkie day to day with the, the rib injury.
13:57That's good news. Uh, so obviously he could put a flak jacket on, maybe play this week.
14:02Uh, the Chargers offense was running through him granted poorly, but, uh, hopefully they figure that out.
14:08Jesse Minter said Jacoby Lane will seek a second and third opinion.
14:12Why did they already presume they need a third?
14:14Because we already know that guy's going to agree.
14:17We're going to see a kook and then a real doc.
14:21How many doctors until we tell them, Hey, your wrist totally fine.
14:24I mean, by the way, Dr. Two, he loves Dr.
14:27One. He's just going to agree. I mean, he fractured his wrist.
14:31That part is, I mean, that part is conclusive.
14:34Say flowers day to day with the hamstring. That's optimistic news.
14:37Hopefully he is not going to, I mean, that's going to be in the back of your head for a few weeks until he gets through a game.
14:46Yeah. I will say the expectation is he probably won't practice much this week.
14:50He will start and be active. Um, it's just a worry of whether he reactivates.
14:55I'm not sure. I don't, I don't, I think he might miss a week.
14:59Uh, I mean, I mean, potentially that would be smart to just give him the time off.
15:05They did say that they left him questionable for a long time in that game.
15:09They play the saints. And then at that point they decided the game was out of hand.
15:15They don't need to bring him back. They said if it was a playoff game, he would have absolutely come back and played.
15:22So maybe they give him a week off just to be extra safe, but would he have come back and played injured is the question.
15:30Sure. I mean, the re-aggravation is the risk. We saw Jalen Coker, a report of him being in a walking boot after the game.
15:37We're like, oh my gosh, the leading wide receiver on the week, not expected to miss time.
15:42Rolled his ankle in the first quarter. The boot was precautionary.
15:46No, it's not. No, it's not. No, of course it's not.
15:49It's not. Otherwise everyone would be walking around. It's very cautionary.
15:53Everyone would be walking around in two boots at all times.
15:56Look, I can't roll my ankle in these things.
15:59It's not precautionary. Something happened where they put a boot on him.
16:03Thankfully, he said it was mild. He's not worried.
16:05He's going to play. But at the same time, it is not precautionary.
16:09It's cautionary. Yes. Okay. We have Liam Cohen saying Brian Thomas Jr.
16:13is expected to play in week two against the Broncos.
16:16So avoided major injury there. Jordan Mason, sore thumb being evaluated.
16:20You know what, Jordan? I don't think I've ever heard.
16:23Keep that one quiet. Yeah. Keep that one to yourself.
16:26That's embarrassing, man. Keep that one quiet. I get it.
16:29If like, I mean, especially if it's not a broken thumb.
16:32It's a sore thumb. What'd you hammer? Were you like hammering the picture in the wall?
16:37Oh, I got my thumb. It matters. I get Bruce and I'm Jason.
16:41Get it right. Wait, if you're a running back and your dominant hand, like you have a busted thumb.
16:47I could have for sure. A percussionary thumb cast.
16:50Busted. Busted thumb sounds great, Mike. A sore thumb.
16:53Like, come on. It's sticking out. You know, jokes aside.
16:56Yeah, it doesn't matter. If it's ball security, if it's stuff like that, you got it.
17:01Yeah, because he plays Chicago. Guess who returns to practice?
17:04Oh, let's go. Trevo. Back at practice. Okay, that's good.
17:07They need him. And they do. They need some weapons.
17:10Without A.J. Brown, they look like a team that had no one to do anything.
17:15Like, Ramondre was okay. And outside of Ramondre, they didn't have a receiver or anyone else there that could do anything explosive.
17:22Todd Monkens says he anticipates Deshaun Watson starting for the Browns in week two.
17:26And more repugnantly, he said there were some really good things on film.
17:30Well, there was a good thing. That one play was pretty good.
17:34Yeah. Mike is 100% correct. I guess you're out.
17:37Yeah. Deshaun Watson will start this week. Number two.
17:40Nope. How dare you? How dare you? Wait, who's the new number two?
17:44Well, no, it's not been updated. Number two. Yeah, that was last year's number two.
17:48We need Watson in there. Oh, yeah. Dylan Sampson, significant time missed for the Browns.
17:53So third down back, Dylan Sampson won't be there.
17:56And then Isaiah Pacheco underwent back surgery. He will miss 12 weeks.
17:59This was not the injury he missed time with, by the way, in preseason at all.
18:04Yeah. That was a neat. This was such a specific time.
18:08It's not like he'll miss like 10 to 14 weeks.
18:11And that's a long time from now to know exactly he will miss 12 weeks.
18:16But he's basically done for the fantasy season, it seems like.
18:19All right. We are going to take a quick break and then I want to play a little game before we get into the waiver wire.
18:27All right, guys. I decided to do this on the way in.
18:31All right. I looked up the top 30 players in ADP, or as in the top 30 performing players by ADP order that had bad week ones.
18:39And we're going to play a little game. Okay.
18:42I want to play the game. All right. I'm going to give you a name and you have a simple task at hand.
18:49You have to either respond with bounce back or buns.
18:52Okay. Bounce back or buns. It's bounce back or buns for week one.
18:56Again, I did this on the way in. I didn't have a lot of time to workshop it, but it's a great name.
19:04You ready for this? Sure. Let's start. George Pickens, 4.3 fantasy points.
19:07Bounce back. Bounce back for sure. All right. Devontae Adams is 4.1 fantasy points.
19:12Bounce back or buns? Bounce. Bounce back. You said that quietly.
19:15I did. I'm worried. That's allowed. You can say it as loud as you want.
19:20They didn't use it. The one of seven times inside the 10 that he was on the field.
19:25What are you doing? He all bounced back. Okay.
19:28Colson Loveland, zero points. Oh, bounce back. Easy. I figured that would be the answer.
19:33How about Kyle Pitts is zero points. Bounce back or buns.
19:36Who's the quarterback? Kyle Pitts. I'll say buns because I never thought he was going to be great.
19:42Okay. But like if it were Tua or Michael Penix as bad as we think they are.
19:47Better. On the one route where that Kyle Pitts actually got a target.
19:51I mean, that was a, that was like a 10 point play.
19:55You think Tua wouldn't have underthrown him either? No, I think he would have.
19:59I think he would have got him. I think he would have got him.
20:04It wasn't, it wasn't 20 yards down the field.
20:06I don't think. Okay. It was close enough that Tua could be accurate.
20:10Josh Downs, 4.7 fancy points. Buns. Ooh. I think he's going to be okay.
20:15He was on the field. Like you were looking for usage and routes and stuff for Josh Downs.
20:20I bet Pierce was on limited snaps and Keenan had work and scored more fancy points.
20:25Bounce back or buns, Mike? Bouncy buns. Bouncy buns.
20:28I'm not sure I named this game correctly. I will say he had 94% route participation, which is good, but 78% was in the slot.
20:36Only 21% wide. This is going to get harder.
20:39Okay. Marshawn Lloyd, 3.7 fancy points. No way. Buns.
20:42I have to, that one I have to know who they play and I'm not, my week two radar is not going yet.
20:49The Jets. It'll be better than last week. He doesn't understand the game.
20:53He doesn't want to. I don't want to keep saying bounce back or buns, man.
20:57That is the game. Well, Makai Lemon, one fancy point.
21:00Buns. Can you bounce? Now he wants to say it.
21:04There's only one that you want to say. Can you bounce back when you have never done anything yet?
21:09Oh, he did something, Jason. He finished with negative yards.
21:13I mean, literally, these are the 30 highest ranked names in terms of ADP before the season.
21:18No, I'd go buns there. Terry McLaurin. Buns. Terry McLaurin, 2.4 fantasy points.
21:22Buns. What? You're doing that to Terry? I was preseason.
21:25I don't think Terry's going to have a great season.
21:28Brooks wants you to know, Mike, it's okay if you're wrong.
21:32It's just the game. I don't like to be wrong.
21:35Bounce back. I'm still in on Terry. Rico Dattle, 3.1 fantasy points.
21:38Oh, dude. I watched for today's Dynasty pod recording, which comes out tomorrow.
21:42I watched both Jalen Warren and Rico Dattle. Okay.
21:45The assessment was the Pittsburgh Steelers offense was buns.
21:48It was this was like when you saw the Warren production, like, well, I guess he was better.
21:54It was like, and he was no dude. It was just awful.
21:57Also, when you're watching specifically two running backs and my biggest takeaway was like, good Lord, DK Metcalf was awful.
22:04I told Andy. I'm not even watching for that.
22:06I told Andy yesterday that you were in the middle of watching this film and you were like, man, DK's bad.
22:13You want to know what Twyld is? It was such a bad week for him.
22:18I think DK was the number one, like points below expected.
22:21Yeah. Like he, his expected fantasy points was like 19 point something.
22:25They were throwing a ton. I'm going to say Rico bounce back.
22:28He had a lot of snaps targets, everything you need other than quality play.
22:33I got three more names. Okay. Because I can't, I can't not bring these up a bounce back or buns.
22:39Harold fan in 3.1 fantasy points bounce back, but it won't be until Watson's gone.
22:44Okay. Buns. Buns. Ooh, you are. I mean, you're pretty buns all the way through on the Browns around buns.
22:50Okay. Easy. It, uh, it, Casey Concepcion is a huge part of the problem.
22:54Like he's going to operate. Well, but, but I'm saying where, where Concepcion's getting his targets and getting his work.
23:01I mean, Sanders could come back in and just be like, no, I love Harold fan and that's where I'm going to go.
23:08He's a very good player. He number, uh, two more names.
23:11Jalen Waddle, 0.7 fantasy points. Oh, he'll be back.
23:14Bounce back. Bounce back for him. Uh, let me see if I can give you a tough one to finish this out.
23:21Rashad white 3.7 fantasy points. Buns. Yeah. That situation is weird.
23:24We didn't really highlight it. Um, but bill was like, bill was the guy and he fumbled at the end of the
23:31game and then they just put the rookie in.
23:34Okay. John Allen. Yeah. It was weird. Cause this was, they were in the game.
23:38I did. Yeah. It was very, very close. They don't see Rashad white between the tackles.
23:43That's what that said. Well, I'm saying like they were so fast to, I know you like Katron.
23:49I mean, he kind of looked okay, but it's like bill was, bill was playing.
23:54Okay. As from what I gathered, I didn't rewatch the entire game.
23:57I mean, it's a dream show of my guests to celebrate Ken Walker and then call Rashad white Buns.
24:03Yeah. That's yeah. That's a pretty good show. Yeah.
24:06I'm feeling great. I'll talk some waivers. Sure. Waiver wire presented by T-Mobile.
24:10All right. Well, this will be fun. By the way, if you go to the website, if you are a a foot
24:17clan member, you get access to the ultimate dashboard.
24:20There are custom spot starts and waiver rankings for your specific leagues.
24:24So they're all customized to your league, to your scoring system.
24:27You can check those out here. You're running backs.
24:30Do we have names? Do we got names? We got a lot of backup.
24:34I think the people will react to Kalen Black's performance on Thursday night.
24:38Yes, they will. They will probably overreact. But I don't think when it comes time to do the waiver wire rankings that
24:45you're really going to overreact too much. If you're on like a priority list, I would burn my priority on Kalen Black personally.
24:52You would. I would because I think what he established is not, I don't expect him to do what he did week
24:59one, which is be a flex with benefits. Like I don't expect him to get enough work to where you're going to start him.
25:06No. But what he did do is show that he is that backup.
25:11He is capable. And should Christian McCaffrey go down, he's the guy that you want.
25:15I would put him as probably one of the most important guys to get.
25:20But, but again, what's the fab amount for Kalen Black?
25:23I, so I don't think that you have CMC.
25:25And if you don't, I don't think this week has the dump your fab type of player, which usually week one has it.
25:33Right. Um, hopefully we've got it in week two right now.
25:36I would say that I'm not going to burn too much.
25:39I, I, you know, if I was to go out there, I'd be like 10 or 15 fab on, on Kalen Black.
25:46If I've got Christian McCaffrey, I'd probably spend up a little bit more just to protect um, my asset and get him.
25:53Is he your number one running back pickup? Is it Kalen Black?
25:57Or are you looking towards, you know, I, Tyler Algier heavily involved, 17 carries for Arizona.
26:02Uh, Chris Rodriguez, the snaps were pretty decent. The snaps were not.
26:06Right. The work was not. Yeah. I mean, to me, there were like, I think that there is not a guy.
26:12If you need to start someone this week, like, Oh my gosh, I, I, I have nobody to start.
26:18Okay. Maybe you grab Tyler Algier. He's not, he's available in about a third of leagues.
26:23Probably not out there for most people. I don't think there's really a guy you're going to start.
26:29Maybe George Alani. Cause you have a touchdown opportunity.
26:31I know gross. I'd much rather play out. I didn't play Algier.
26:35So to me, I'm focused on the backups, the insurance backs.
26:39That's Kalen Black and Emmett Johnson. Those two guys to me are, they both looked good.
26:44They're both on what could be good offenses. They both have historically fragile or, you know, commonly injured head starting running backs
26:50who are getting a ton of work. So yeah, Kalen Black for the 49ers and Emmett Johnson rookie for the chiefs are
26:57the two guys that I would prioritize to grab.
27:00I agree with that in terms of, of just pure backups.
27:03Braylon Allen should be mentioned of, I like, I don't know if that's sticky that the 10 carries one target, he did
27:10have a huge touchdown that got called back on a, on a, I think a hold.
27:15Um, I think he would be very good if brace was out.
27:19Right. Well, I'm saying in this team, it's like the only guys I'm confident are Tyler, is going to get work.
27:25And then after that, looking at, I mean, we are, it's really just backups.
27:30I think that Braylon Allen probably gets the second most work of the guys we're talking about.
27:35I think I'm on Jason's side of, I think Kalen Black was a, like, it's, it's awesome to know that information, especially
27:42with Jordan James being a healthy scratch. I think it was more of the report of that McCaffrey's playing through cramps in the international game.
27:50So I think, I think CMC goes back to his very healthy workload.
27:54And even with the, I mean, 14 carries is like, if you had desperation played Kalen Black and you got that work,
28:01you're like, eh, it didn't really turn. Yeah. I think that the bigger, it's rare in week one that the bigger pickups are not at running back.
28:09But I don't think that, I think right now what you're dealing with at the running back position is backups.
28:15We didn't have injuries. Insurance options. Yeah. Which is, that's great.
28:19I would make sure that people are aware of Amari DiMarcato.
28:22He's universally available. Right. He's available across the league.
28:25There was a super late, you know, this is, I think it was the Thursday before kickoff injury.
28:30No one knows what team he's on. So Dallas Cowboys, who is, he is now the backup to Javante.
28:36Malik Davis got seriously hurt. Yeah. On the Thursday before kickoff, he was carted off.
28:41Seems like a long-term injury. So all of a sudden Amari DiMarcato goes from a guy who wasn't on this roster a
28:48month ago to the number one backup. Yeah. All right.
28:51You guys want to move on? Yeah. Wide receivers.
28:54And also we, we do have, we have a lot more names on our list.
28:58You know, Tajay Spears split a lot of work, but he's on the Titans.
29:03Yeah. I don't care. We've done that for years in a row.
29:07We've done that for years in a row. But all of that is on the website.
29:12So if, and you can also plug in your specific roster, you can go and, you know, join the foot.com and import
29:18your league and see who is available in all your different leagues on your waivers.
29:23And it goes farther than just the guys we can talk about on the episode.
29:28Would you drop tank Bigsby, Tyron Tracy, Jonah Coleman, Marshawn Lloyd?
29:31Tracy is, that's a Baxter punt. Bigsby is, he's just like the, these other high value insurance running backs.
29:37Yeah. Drop them for black. Yeah. I don't know.
29:40Uh, you, yes. Uh, I think I would. What was Southern to break that tie?
29:45Cause to me, tank Bigsby should have Kalen black.
29:47Really? Yeah. I feel like if Christian McCaffrey and Saquon went down completely, they both, you know, were, they both retired.
29:54Right. This week. I think tank Bigsby scores a lot more.
29:57I agree with that. I'd rather pick up Kalen black in terms of more risk.
30:02What if he, well, I'm not just the risk.
30:05Like we're, you know, we're projecting that. Carves out a role.
30:08McCaffrey will be the, the heavy workload yet again.
30:11But what if every single week, Kalen black is getting 12 opportunities?
30:15I think you would, I don't think it would be.
30:18It won't be Bigsby every down either with it with sake one out.
30:22I mean, Shipley, you'll have Shipley in there. Sure.
30:25All right. Wide receiver pickups. You do have some big ones this week.
30:29I think the two biggest names for me on the week that are in the wide receiver position, Debo Samuel, Jalen Coker,
30:36Dajon Stribling is out for an extended period of time.
30:39Debo was heavily involved six for 48 scored a touchdown, got the classic rushing attempt.
30:43Seventy one percent rostered. So this is a higher rostered player.
30:47Jalen Coker's at 66%. He was the number one wide receiver on the week.
30:51I would not take that as, you know, prescriptive for the entire year.
30:55But so I'm not, I would not like both of those guys are like well below 20% of my fab.
31:01What do you think about in the, you know, eight to 10% max?
31:05What do you think about the fact that the second half of the game, DeMarcus Robinson played 24 snaps to Debo Samuel seven.
31:13I know that game got, I guess I, I don't know how much of that was.
31:17I think you have to factor it in. Yeah.
31:20I, I, I, we did talk about the fact that veterans got a lot of, I mean, but CMC Kittle and Debo got very reduced workloads.
31:28I don't know if it was strategic preventative, a precautionary cautionary, whatever you want to say.
31:33So in the third quarter, when the game was still, I mean, the Rams weren't, you know, benching their starters in the
31:40third, it looks like Mike Evans and DeMarcus Robinson played 12 snaps.
31:44Uh, Debo Samuel played four snaps. So I, I just bring up that because DeMarcus Robinson is also a name.
31:50The Deshaun, the Deshaun Stribbling injury is going to matter.
31:53And then obviously Debo got the touchdown. He looked not too bad.
31:57Um, but DeMarcus Robinson will be involved. He will, but, but I, you wouldn't start him over Debo, would you?
32:03Cause I mean, I, I've done that. We've done the DeMarcus Robinson thing over the years.
32:08And I, I think the designed plays for Debo are more valuable than any of these snap count numbers.
32:14But I guess my point is if it, if it costs me 15 fab to get Debo or $0 to get, um,
32:21Robinson, Robinson, I'd probably rather save the fab. I think I like all these other names more than Robinson.
32:27Okay. Devon Valey, Valey Douglas, Don'tavian Wicks. Yes. All of those guys are, are awesome.
32:32I think those are the pickups and Antonio Williams as well.
32:35How much would you spend on Coker though? Let's not leave that for a second.
32:40Cause eight for one 32 and two, 84% of the snaps first read targets tied with McMillan air yards went to Coker.
32:46You know, you're talking about a player. They just paid money to.
32:50He hasn't been healthy when he's been healthy. He's always flashed like Robert Woods or Parker Washington, these guys that once they got opportunities, they performed.
32:58What about the fact that he's not healthy? I mean, I'm not really, I mean, a first quarter injury.
33:04I'm not too worried about it. Um, Coker's going to be expensive.
33:08He, he, I will say that he'll be a 20 plus percent of fab is not been that Andy is definitely correct that he is on the field.
33:17I mean, that was definitely be my number one.
33:19That is a wild game. You got Atlanta this week.
33:23I mean, Coker is my number one, but I, I would cap my spend on Coker at 15% probably maybe, maybe like 12.
33:30I would, I would make a, you can make a very easy argument that Devon Bailey is a better pickup.
33:36I mean, you still have the Bryce young problem.
33:39Obviously Jalen Coker had a Bryce young quarterback in week one.
33:42He was the wide receiver one on the week, but the bears defense looked really, really bad.
33:47That game got out of hand and was awesome for fantasy.
33:51I don't expect that to be the norm. I don't expect Valey to get seven for 69 on a touchdown every week either.
33:58I think Juwan Johnson will be more involved and they won't run 86 plays a week.
34:03So I think both of those guys are going to be a little bit of a, like my investment on Bailey would not be very high.
34:11Yeah. There's just a bunch of guys that I think are in that same category that I can get for free.
34:18If you need a start to me, Bailey is very valuable.
34:21The, the, the Ravens Raiders and Falcons next three weeks.
34:24That's the time frame where we know Jordan Tyson can't come back.
34:28So he is going to be the wide receiver two on the field.
34:32And I liked what we saw from Shuck. It got off to a slow start, but he really played some quality ball down the stretch.
34:40I I'm like, to me, Bailey and Coker are very close to one another.
34:44And I feel like I can get Bailey. They're very, those two guys are close to me.
34:49That's how it is for me. I mean, Bailey is expiring.
34:53Coker's the rest of season value when I'm draft, when I'm spending any fab at the top of the season, I want
35:00them to be somebody that's not temporary. So that's a big differential for me.
35:04I would agree. I mean, I could start on Tavion Wicks this week for not that much.
35:09And I don't think that that's a disservice to like it's net.
35:13It's worse than Bailey. Don Tavion Wicks is another great name.
35:16He could be a rest of season. I mean, you could argue the expiring asset as Makai Lemon gets more involved the
35:23same way that Jordan Tyson will be back. But his role seems established.
35:27He played 91 percent of the snaps. He had a bomb touchdown.
35:31And Wicks is good. So I actually had a short touchdown.
35:34He had a bomb catch. Oh, that's right. The touchdown was not on the bomb.
35:39I guess when I'm when I'm looking at all these, you've got Chris Bell and Caleb Douglas, the rookies from Miami that
35:46despite the fact that I don't feel like the Miami Dolphins offense looked good.
35:50Both these guys were were OK. You know, Caleb Douglas five for ninety four in in week one in a not great game.
35:57There's I still think it's the time to scoop up Chris Bell.
36:01He only played 50 percent of snaps in week one.
36:04Yeah, figuring the offense out like. But I don't think Bell's I don't think he's gonna be playable for a while while
36:11he while he works up to speed. It's possible.
36:14I guess my point here is that I'm not going to spend a ton of money on these guys because there's enough
36:21like I would rather, you know, take an eight.
36:24Exactly why I'm not spending anything on Bailey, because I think there's 10 other guys that I would be willing to start.
36:30If I took an eight dollar fab, you know, bid on all even like, OK, I would maybe be willing to spend more on on Jalen Coker.
36:39But I'm not personally like super bullish because I still think Bryce Young is going to fail.
36:44That's where I am, too. And so it's like if I took an eight dollar bid and I put it on Coker
36:51and Bailey and Douglas and Wicks and Bell. Great.
36:54I'm going to probably get one of them, if not two of them.
36:58I like Malachi Fields a lot. He's actually the sneakiest, cheapest player that I would pick up and actually care about.
37:04I think the offense he played seventy three percent of snaps.
37:08It wasn't a hugely productive week, but he's not rostered in a lot of leagues.
37:12He's a rookie with upside. I like those. Antonio Williams is in that category.
37:17I want to have a zero dollar bid on these guys at one dollar bid on these guys.
37:22I can agree with that. Pick up some rookies to hold because we look some of the rookies you held in week one are gone.
37:30Jacoby Lane, Dajon Stribling. These guys are on IR or out.
37:33Stribling technically not on IR yet, but they're going to be in your.
37:38In your IR spot. So I just like picking those guys up versus like.
37:42Absolutely. Like to Marcus Robinson. Okay. If I guess if you need a spot.
37:46With the injuries to wide receiver, you have to figure out what your team needs.
37:51Yeah. I think not being overly aggressive on the fab spend this week is probably the right strategy.
37:56I mean, you might, you know, you could have been devastated at the wide receiver position.
38:01You really have to go get somebody. Um, and then did we throw it?
38:06Matt Collins name yet? No, Matt Collins played the most snaps.
38:09The wide wide receiver position in the second half for the, for the Patriots.
38:14He will they get Kyle Williams involved? I don't know why.
38:17Why? Why won't they? They're not good. And there's the other something going on that we are, we are not privy to,
38:24but Matt Collins is like, he's literally just the guy that he's like, Oh crap.
38:29Our plan didn't work. Matt Collins get in there and fix it for us.
38:33And he's like, no problem. Well, I think let me take my shoes off and get in there.
38:38Demario Douglas in a full PPR is going to be the same story with AJ Brown out.
38:44I mean, he was heavily involved in the offense.
38:47I think he only had, I think he had seven catches for 20 yards.
38:51He had seven targets, five for 20. I'm just, I feel like the floor play of Douglas is I'm not.
38:57Has to at least be in full PPR. Cause he's just not going to get the yards to go along with the catches.
39:04Um, Romeo Dobbs. Yeah. I would pick him up.
39:07He is one of the drop candidates that a lot of people are going after the goose in week one.
39:13Do I drop him? I would not drop him.
39:16And like I would not either. I'd pick him up the, the opportunity with AJ Brown gone.
39:21You've got a week to actually prepare for like, okay, now we don't have, uh, AJ Brown.
39:27What are we going to do? And Dobbs was their other big money free agent.
39:31So where would you guys rank Pat Bryant in these wide receivers?
39:35He looked, he looked okay. I mean, the game got out of hands, but it was not a hand.
39:41Yeah. I tried to get both of them on it.
39:44Uh, what he got three receptions on that first drive.
39:47Uh, or maybe it was the second only having one catch kind of throws the thing off for me too.
39:53It's like, was this the whole offense not functioning, you know?
39:57Right. But they have, they led the team that they led the league in pass attempts last year.
40:02That definitely pick them up. If they're out of control with their pass rate yet again, we'll see if it holds.
40:09But like, I think Pat Bryant, you know, everything that they talked about with the off season, we said, Hey, you know,
40:16uh, Parker, Jacoby lane, unfortunately he's hurt Pat Bryant.
40:19There might be a name I'm missing, but like those were the loudest drum beats of the entire off season of these
40:25are the players who are, are taking a step.
40:28But the fact that Pat Bryant is a year two wide receiver had all of those things comes out and leaves the team and targets.
40:36It's a good sign. Like that's a, I don't, he won't pass waddle.
40:40I really, really expect wall to be perfectly fine, but it's like Corlin Sutton might be done and it's just be waddle and Pat Bryant.
40:48Are you dropping Jordan Addison? He was a goose in week one.
40:52I was going to ask if he's a bounce back or a buns.
40:56Buns. I'm, I think, I think Jeff Jefferson's going to just hog everything right now.
41:00We saw that when, uh, Carson Wentz was there last year, how much he targeted Justin Jefferson, which is probably pretty smart to do.
41:08Um, very boom boss. He can have a 70 yard touchdown at any minute, but it's tough to count on backup quarterback
41:15and then transitioning back to Kyler and seeing if it works when you have other guys you can pick up.
41:21Yeah. And I, I'll throw out one more name.
41:24I would not. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Yes. It's good.
41:27It's nasty. Uh, people will not like it, but I do think Cleve Raymond is worth a, Oh no, I know.
41:33Oh no. Look, this is a fool me once.
41:36No way. No way. Totally. That's the Chicago bears.
41:39I mean, he's done that for Detroit before. Yes.
41:42He has done it for Detroit before where he played with Ben Johnson and knew that system.
41:47He came in and played, you know, 60% of snaps played 60, 40 wide to out to inside.
41:53You really believe this. So, well, those are facts, but I do believe those, but I would say that, um, he is,
41:59he's not a guy I expect to be great or take over, but all the Luther burden.
42:05Yes. All the Luther burden, love and hype and all that jazz, you know, we, we still have not yet to see it.
42:12This is a guy who played with Ben Johnson for a while.
42:16He was on the field. He did well. Well, Zacchaeus was that last year for them.
42:21Yeah, exactly. Luther burden couldn't be Zacchaeus last year.
42:23Uh, and, and I, I think Cleve Raymond's a better than Zacchaeus, but I'm not sitting here saying, I'm saying maybe put,
42:30if you've got an extra roster spot, do a zero dollar bid in case he becomes a thing.
42:36I mean, it's rare for a guy in what, like this is like year 10.
42:40This is, you know, like, like the button said nasty, but I think he should be rostered in case.
42:46All right. We'll take a break. We'll talk tight ends.
42:49All right. Uh, let's talk the tight end position.
42:52I, there's names that matter. Um, it's wild. Cause, uh, one of these guys was not rostered in our league of record
42:59until the Bowers injury and the Bowers manager went out and picked up Dallas Goddard and didn't miss a beat because Dallas Goddard was four for 77.
43:07I don't know. And two for the Brock Bowers news, man.
43:11Day to day. Well, it's, it's a, he's totally going to play this truth telling.
43:16I actually think he's back in like really not, maybe not this week, but next week.
43:21Yeah. Maybe it's been very, very positive. We should have brought it up on yesterday's show.
43:26Um, it's hard because Kubiak has, he already lied to us.
43:29Yeah, I get it. I get it. But I mean, the initial report from others was one to two weeks and then
43:36post surgery, they said, Hey, this was a trim.
43:39This looks like two weeks. I I'm optimistic. Yeah.
43:41You will. We will see the, all the positivity was from like reporters and people talking to Kubiak.
43:47All the reports from people who know medical procedures are like, mm-mm.
43:51Mm-mm. Yeah. But that would surprise me. Yeah. Yeah.
43:54Cause they're former trims are usually, I mean, I just don't know the details.
43:58Yeah. We, we don't know the details. I don't know if there's like, you know, like when you're getting your hair cut,
44:05like, Oh, I'm taking six inches off or I'm, you know, just right.
44:09Oh, you're trimming the trim. That's it. I don't know.
44:12No, but you don't want to get a bowl cut.
44:15No, not on your knee. I got to tell you, Jay, I, uh, you, I don't know if you're a long hair guy ever in your life.
44:23A six inch trim off of your hair. Yeah.
44:26Today. That's not a trim. Sure. But my, my point is, yeah, we do have data on this.
44:32That's a lot of hair on this procedure. I don't know if they're all the same, but it's usually three or four weeks.
44:39Well, um, here, here's what I need to, to once again, say out loud for goodness sakes.
44:44Can I get anybody to believe in Dallas Goddard?
44:47I said it all off season, which by the way, uh, case you're curious, this was the tight in three last year.
44:54Did you know that he's a tight in three and then you remove AJ Brown.
44:59And it's very clear that the presence of Devante Smith does not match AJ Brown in terms of demand of targets, the presence of Devante Smith.
45:07He's going to have his days, but I said it last week before the game.
45:11I said it all off season. Dallas Goddard came out and he's four for 77 and two touchdowns.
45:17He plays 95% of snaps. The offense desperately needs him.
45:20A guy lemon is on pace for negative 85 yards this year.
45:24They desperately need Dallas Goddard. He's going to catch the ball every week.
45:28He's always going to be a touchdown threat. And he's sitting there in a lot of leagues.
45:33Not, not too many because some listened, I guess, but I would get him onto your roster.
45:38I think every week Dallas Goddard is going to be a competitive player.
45:42Eli Stowers is on IR and irrelevant. Did you see?
45:45So Eli Stowers, their second round rookie pick, who I know we were.
45:50Oh, he's on the IR now. He's on the IR.
45:53Yeah. He's super hurt with his hamstring. Did you see the interview with him?
45:57Like it was the day before they put him on IR.
46:00He was talking about how he's really excited for week one.
46:04He's ready to go. No, this is not an injury.
46:07This is like, no, it's not. No, this is, uh, we don't need you right now.
46:12You need to get better. I'm not ready. Yes, exactly.
46:15But look to me, Goddard is the number one pickup on my list.
46:19And then close behind is John Johnson. You know, take advantage of the fact he didn't get involved during that game.
46:26He's a go to target. Still seven targets. You know, I I'd rather flex John Johnson than Devon Vela if it's me in a, in a regular week.
46:34Just a Vela Haiti hates him. Well, it's not hate.
46:37It's just neutrality. I'm just neutral about Devon Vela.
46:40I think there's, I mean, if I start Kendrick Bourne, I might get the same thing.
46:45If I start Pat Bryant, I might get the same thing.
46:49It's not, I don't, I just don't think Vela is a special talent able to emerge to be a superstar.
46:55That's all. It's just, I think he's a wide receiver to three and I think Jawan Johnson is special around the goal line.
47:02So I like Jawan Johnson. He's less rostered. I love, I love Jawan too.
47:06We're all in on Jawan Johnson at the tight end position.
47:10I think it's great. He's obviously still rostered in the, in most leagues, but he's available in about 40% of leagues.
47:16My number one tight end pickup, obviously if Dallas Goddard was there, Jawan Johnson's there.
47:21If I need a start, those are your top two.
47:24Those are, those are the guys that I feel most confident starting.
47:28I would follow that up with actually Hunter Henry.
47:31I think the matchup for the next two weeks is really good against tight ends and without AJ Brown, he might come
47:37in and it's just like who could throw a touchdown to a tight end.
47:42Great. But if I already have someone, I'm, you know, I'm, you know, I'm not really like I have to get someone else in there to play.
47:50I w I would be picking up Kenyon. I agree.
47:53I do actually agree. He only played 42% of snaps, which is on one hand, a really, you know, it's a reason not to pick him up, right?
48:02Oh, he's not very involved. But as a rookie who was missing the majority of camp when he was out there, he
48:09was targeted three times, got all three. He was given a handoff, which he scored on.
48:14So he had a touchdown in his rookie week one.
48:17I think that there's a player that absolutely. I mean, he will be picked up in every league, but it's like the
48:24upside of him get picked up in every league.
48:27I think I think I think I think someone in most leagues will take a shot on stashing him in the hopes
48:33that he is a very highly drafted guy. And 33% rostered right now.
48:37I bet he doesn't give it above 50. I think he'll be ignored this week.
48:42Yeah, I think he's a great pickup because players of this caliber first round picks with the talent of city.
48:48You're going to see a workload increasing over the course of the year.
48:52We mean, we saw do we have an injury to Omar Cooper?
48:56Omar Cooper. Omar Cooper. Whatever is it. We're hanging with Mr.
49:00Cooper. That first round guy that no one cared about who had a great catch.
49:04And we was like, oh, look at Cooper. Yeah.
49:07And then he got hurt. So, OK, high ankle.
49:10So he'll be out for quite a while. Which part of the problem for both of those guys was the fact that
49:17you just drafted two guys that kind of work in the same area of the field.
49:22So, yeah, I think I think Sadiq is would have been.
49:25I mean, talk about Kenyan Sadiq's quarterback, Jason, man.
49:28One of the best on target accuracy. I think the best on target accuracy percentage in week one.
49:33Hey, Jacoby was number one in PFF. Yeah, I saw that.
49:37I think Gino was. Gino's a top five. Yeah, it's like number four.
49:41People were not happy with the PFF. No, they were terrible.
49:44Because Caleb Williams is at 20. What are you doing?
49:47Josh Allen was doing Josh Allen. I don't think Josh Allen was in the top 12 either who against the number one
49:54defense was, I don't know, just perfect. Let's just focus on Gino Smith.
49:58Gino Smith and Jacoby. They got that one right.
50:01Yeah. Two other things. I would have been in on Britain's strange if I knew that BTJ was out.
50:07I thought that would have been a good spot start.
50:10That's fair. Michael Mayer, I think he's going to get targeted as long as Bowers is out.
50:15He's a good one to two week start. And then the Muth, you know, if you want to chase his five for 46, you can do it worse.
50:24And then the question, one of the questions that came in, would you drop Fannin for Goddard?
50:29And I, I would not want to drop Fannin.
50:32Right. But I, if, look. If you had to play one of them, you would play Goddard.
50:38So if you only have one roster spot. I probably don't drop him.
50:42No, I wouldn't either. I would, I would. If you had one roster spot.
50:46You probably have someone else to drop. Yeah. Yeah.
50:49Defensive options for this week. Why not target them Browns?
50:52Deshaun Watson is sure to make the fumbliest interception.
50:55Yes. Mistakes. And you're not saying the Buccaneers. Yes.
50:57Sorry. The Buccaneers defense faces the Browns. There you go.
51:01The 49ers face Miami. Those are the top two of the week.
51:04Packers face the Jets. We'll see. And then the chiefs.
51:07Was that a, you're getting a little bullish on the Jets offense.
51:11That's me saying, I don't know that that'll be a smash play after one week, but it should be, but it's in New York.
51:19I mean, it's not like I'm not. I'm not as in on that as I would be like, I loved what I
51:25saw from the chiefs defense last night. The chiefs looked a little rumbly bumbly during the, the chiefs are a great pickup.
51:32They were my most drafted team coming into week one, simply because I don't feel like Indy is a team you can't play against.
51:40They could be okay, but for a good defense, like what we saw on the chiefs following that you get the Miami dolphins and the Las Vegas Raiders.
51:48So you've got like a month of a really good start for the chiefs defense.
51:53I will shout out the Carolina Panthers. Absolutely. I know they got roasted.
51:57It's the Chicago bears. They're going to do that to everybody.
52:01How about Cooper rush? If yeah, I mean you have the, that built in, if it's Cooper rush, then I, then it's Cleveland.
52:08I might want, yes. I was like, I, if it's Cooper rush, I might play the Panthers over the bucks this week.
52:15That's going to be pretty close, but you get the two for, if you pick up the Panthers because get the Falcons
52:21this week and you get the Cleveland Browns next week.
52:24That was the waiver wire presented by T-Mobile. When you're updating your roster, right before kickoff, you've got coverage.
52:30You can count on just another reason game days are better with T-Mobile.
52:34Check it out at T-Mobile.com slash membership full stream ahead.
52:38Well, uh, it is the conclusion of week one.
52:40We're going into week two. We've got a streaming quarterback each and every week for you.
52:45If you need to make a spot, start, make a decision.
52:49Maybe you're feeling grossed out by the performance you got from, I don't know, Bo Nix or something.
52:54Uh, and you want to start somebody else this week.
52:57I like Jason's streamer the most this week. Yeah.
53:00And in, in week two, it's really not usually a streamer off of the waivers.
53:05I think this year, a lot of people drafted multiple quarterbacks and this is, this is like, yeah, they'll hit the waiver wire this week.
53:13Right. Some quarterbacks hitting this week. Yeah. But like Bo Nix.
53:16Um, it's possible. Yeah. And I would, I would pick them up for the longterm, although his schedule is tough, but I
53:23think Brock Purdy is a guy who's probably on a lot of benches.
53:27Wasn't necessarily drafted to, to be everyone's starter. Great matchup against, uh, Miami, their 13 and a half point home favorites.
53:34And the truth is he's just freaking good. He is a super good quarterback.
53:38Um, perfect system. And he is the perfect quarterback for the system.
53:42Yes. And now he has, uh, Mike Evans, a touchdown machine around the end zone.
53:46So passing touchdowns are easier to come by for Brock Purdy and more and more.
53:51We should see more and more George. Yeah, for sure.
53:54I honestly, what's crazy is I George really impressed me.
53:57I know it's like he got, was like two for 12 in the game.
54:02Yeah. He's a target for me, but he impressed the trade target.
54:05He got picked up as a second tight end by a lot of people.
54:10The way that he played, the way that he ran, I was like, okay, you know, they, they got him off to
54:16a slow start as to be expected. Well, they went to him real fast, which was delightful to see.
54:22But I do think by the time this season finishes, he could be very good.
54:27I'm going to throw Patrick Mahomes out there. He was only started in 31% of the injury.
54:32Yeah. I was impressed. I think that, uh, it'll be better through the air this upcoming week on Sunday night football against Indianapolis.
54:39We're getting Mike's getting primetime Ken bone Walker again.
54:42I mean, we got Monday night, Sunday night back to back, but this is six and a half point home favorites, high implied point total.
54:50Colts were dead last in yards per play allowed last week.
54:53I think mom's is going to have a couple of big plays.
54:57Maybe it's a Thornton touchdown. Maybe it's a screen pass.
55:00So you think he'll have a completed pass over 10 yards?
55:04I do believe that'll happen. So I'm going to throw my homes out there as a stream.
55:09And don't worry if you're in deep leagues, I got you covered.
55:13It's disgusting. And this is a projection. I don't think Kyler Murray is going to play.
55:18I love this pick. It's Carson Wentz. It's the Chicago bears.
55:21It is the defense that made a quarterback who can barely get to 200 yards on a regular basis.
55:27Look like an absolute superstar. And Bryce young, it's the third highest over under of the week right now.
55:33Like bears were 28th in yards per play allowed in week one.
55:37And Carson Wentz is just it's production. It's we love Kevin O'Connell quarterbacks who are at least competent and Carson Wentz definitely is.
55:44We saw Justin Jefferson got rescued. I also think that you could attach Kyler here.
55:49Kyler will probably be dropped in most leagues. He was drafted essentially as a backup quarterback.
55:53Sure. I don't think people are going to want to hang on to him through the concussion.
55:59But should he progress because he was at meetings, which is a sign that he may be this week or next.
56:05Yeah, exactly. I probably next. But if he's back this week against the bears, I would play Kyler.
56:11It's a good point. I mean, if he, if he's a sudden start, it's a great matchup.
56:16No more fade away jumpers. Yeah. That was, yeah, that was the end.
56:20It was the end. It was the end. Wednesday.
56:23We've got you are incorrect, Andy. That is just the beginning.
56:26Is it? Yeah. Oh, wait, I got something in here, right?
56:30Oh, no. You got something special? No, it's not real special.
56:33I got a walker. I got to get this thing in a better spot.
56:38Yeah. I think we, I think he got enough attention on the show today.
56:42I think we're doing good. What if I do this one?
56:45Kenneth Walker. Oh, just, just a musical interlude. Much better.
