Baker Mayfield is a 'green goblin' pick for the week with a soft projection of more than 161.5 passing yards.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

NegativeProjection22:05

The source is concerned about Robinson's fantasy outlook due to the team's quarterback situation with Cooper Rush; they argue that even a spectacular talent cannot overcome an inept offense that will likely struggle to sustain drives or reach the goal line.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveBreakout6:59

Corum looked outstanding and fast in his limited Week 1 action, though he remains firmly behind Kyron Williams in the snap and route hierarchy; the source views him as a high-upside backup who looked like he was 'shot out of a cannon.'

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection44:42

The source likes Bo Nix over the course of the season but advises caution for Week 1 due to a brutal opening schedule, a tough Monday night matchup against a dominant defense, and his recent injury status.

PositiveUsage50:58

The source is high on Bucky Irving, projecting him to have more than two receptions in his upcoming game.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveValue5:58

Despite limited Week 1 work due to cramps and a blowout game script, the source strongly advises trading for McCaffrey, asserting there is zero chance the backfield becomes a 50-50 split with Kalen Black by the end of the season.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveUsage48:10

Chuba Hubbard is a viable start if Jonathan Brooks is unable to suit up due to injury.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

The source views Dak Prescott as a top-five quarterback candidate for the season, noting that the Week 1 matchup against the Giants is favorable and his wide receivers are healthy.

Insight page

PositiveProjection53:08

The source is taking the 'more' on Dallas Goedert's 34.5 receiving yards, trusting his experience in the offense.

Insight page

Darren Waller

PositiveValue53:27

The source is taking the 'more' on Darren Waller's 17.5 receiving yards, viewing it as an easily achievable total.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeUsage10:52

The source expresses concern over Adams' usage inside the 10-yard line, noting he was on the field for only one of seven snaps in that area during Week 1, a significant departure from his role as a primary goal-line target last season.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveUsage51:25

The source expects David Montgomery to serve as a three-down back and projects him to have more than 1.5 receptions.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveUsage3:38

Samuel is expected to see a significant bump in route participation and usage following the injury to Dajon Stribling; the source highlights his history as a top-tier fantasy wide receiver and notes his strong involvement in the 49ers' offense.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveProjection52:27

The source is taking the 'more' on Garrett Wilson's 60.5 receiving yards, noting he consistently beats this line.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeUsage5:31

Kittle participated in 17 of 36 routes in the season opener; the source views his limited usage as a protective measure for an older player in Week 1, noting he passed the eye test despite the ramp-up period.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveValue47:30

The source prefers JK Dobbins over Chuba Hubbard and Marshawn Lloyd for fantasy lineups, despite the tough matchup against Chicago.

Insight page

Jalen McMillan

NegativeInjury49:06

Jalen McMillan is listed as doubtful for Week 1 due to an injury.

Insight page

Jalen McMillan is the source's 'start of the week,' with a projection of more than 58.5 receiving yards against a beatable Chicago secondary.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveProjection48:20

The source considers Jayden Daniels a must-start for fantasy managers who drafted him, citing his high rushing floor as a mobile quarterback.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveProjection48:30

The source feels good about Jalen Waddle for his upcoming Monday night game, noting that he should perform well despite a tough matchup.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury55:22

Despite injury concerns and a tough matchup against the Chargers, the source suggests starting Jeremiah Love due to his explosiveness and expected role as a pass-catcher while the Cardinals play from behind.

Insight page

Jerry Jeudy

NegativeUsage51:55

The source is fading Jerry Jeudy, taking the 'less' on his three-reception projection due to concerns about the connection with Deshaun Watson.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

NegativeUsage44:11

The source is uncertain about Jonah Coleman's involvement, noting that the backfield rotation is a key situation to monitor.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeProjection37:22

The source notes the Packers will likely be more pass-heavy without Josh Jacobs, with Jordan Love leading the distribution to receivers like Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs.

Insight page
PositiveUsage50:17

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveUsage53:47

The source considers Kyle Pitts' 2.5 reception projection a 'freebie' and is taking the 'more'.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveUsage6:59

Williams remains the clear lead back for the Rams, logging 36 snaps and 21 routes compared to Blake Corum's 13 snaps and two routes; he is expected to be a consistent fantasy RB1 due to his involvement in the passing game and goal-line work.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveProjection54:00

The source expresses confidence in Ladd McConkey for Week 1, noting a PrizePicks receiving yard projection of 55.5.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury18:20

Nabers' injury situation is described as 'very weird' due to conflicting reports regarding who makes the decision on his availability; the source suggests tempering expectations and advises starting other players, as Nabers may not even start or could be limited.

Insight page

Malik Willis

NegativeValue29:59

Willis is highlighted as a high-upside play due to his rushing ability, with a PrizePicks projection of 39.5 rushing yards, the highest among all quarterbacks in Week 1; the source acknowledges the risk but notes he could be a major talking point.

Insight page

The source projects Malik Willis to have more than 179.5 passing yards.

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeUsage37:22

The source expects a committee approach in the Packers backfield, noting that Marshawn Lloyd will share work with Chris Brooks and Caleb Johnson, making him a risky start in a tough matchup against Minnesota.

The source highlights Rashee Rice as a key player to watch in Week 1, specifically looking for his usage on short slant routes and his ability to break tackles.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveUsage44:08

The source notes that fantasy managers should expect to see plenty of RJ Harvey in the upcoming game.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeUsage45:57

The source assumes fantasy managers will start Terry McLaurin because he was drafted as a starter, but notes the Washington offense faces a difficult matchup against the Eagles' defensive line.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveUsage72:20

The source expects Travis Kelce to be heavily targeted in Week 1, noting his high target volume against Denver last year and his reliability in PPR formats.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

NegativeValue33:44

Tucker is a viable deep-league start in a double-flex format due to the lack of other receiving options on the Raiders' roster, especially with Brock Bowers sidelined.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeUsage38:35

The source advises against starting Tucker Kraft in Week 1, comparing the situation to George Kittle's injury uncertainty, and suggests that if you drafted him in the 7th round, he is a bench candidate.

0:00Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
0:05Welcome in. Here we are again. A Friday episode of the Fantasy Footballers.
0:10We continue to be back. And we ain't going nowhere.
0:13I mean, I think the thing that made the biggest impact on me last night was Jason saying we haven't even reached the weekend of week one yet.
0:22That's what's crazy. Well, because you're my guy in stripling.
0:25Oh, gosh. Gets hurt. My MVP in A.J. Brown gets hurt.
0:29And it's like... Probably same injury, by the way.
0:32Yeah, probably. Both could miss six weeks realistically. I mean, your situation, I'd just say it out of the gate here, is so much better than mine.
0:41Because the number one thing that you need to do as a rookie wide receiver is establish yourself early in the season.
0:48And he was getting... He had more wide receiver snaps than any other player on that team.
0:54And goes down. And now, okay, let's pretend it's six weeks.
0:57Because I think... Well, for one, stripling was carted off.
1:01He couldn't put any weight on it. There could be other damage.
1:04Two, he now, as a rookie, has to come back in week seven with Debo and Evans and Kittle better well-established.
1:11I just think the pathway, while not impossible, is...
1:14You know, this was disappointing. This was so disappointing.
1:17It's certainly not good for anybody, but I would say that...
1:21The draft cost for A.J. Brown was high. The draft cost and the age combination for A.J.
1:27Brown, they were talking about how it looks like he won't need surgery.
1:31And so... Oh, great. That... You don't usually even question that on a high ankle sprain.
1:36So, it's... I don't need surgery, guys. Right. Like, yeah, oh, yeah, you don't?
1:41No. Oh, that's great. I don't need surgery either.
1:44But we don't talk about that out loud because there's no reason to.
1:48It's presumed. So, I do think A.J. Brown will take a while.
1:52But, yeah, I was... We were talking about it.
1:55We were lamenting. Like, how sad. Week one has been so tough.
1:59And I'm like, we're not two week one yet.
2:02It hasn't even started. We're two games. Yeah. So, 27-7, 49ers over the Rams.
2:06A whooping. I mean, really, in all respects, the takeaways from this game, I don't...
2:11I honestly want to be fair to the listeners here.
2:15I don't know... Like, obviously, Evans looked very good.
2:18I mean, the starting point... Debo is very involved.
2:20And that is a headline to me because with Stribling going out, like, Debo absolutely is...
2:26Just because Shanahan and this offense and Purdy, the familiarity, the way they use him.
2:31Like, the first half of last year, Debo Samuel was a top-tier wide receiver for fantasy.
2:36I just want to remind people that. Yeah, with Stribling gone, Ricky Pearsall gone, this is definitely going to be a big waiver pickup this week.
2:45I... You know what? I just can't believe... Like, the 49ers are so impressive to me.
2:50They deserve so much respect. They have dealt with so many injuries.
2:54Year after year after year, they have the most injuries.
2:57And they had injuries there. Like, right off the bat in the game.
3:01They lost to Onges McBasketball. They lost Stribling. Right before the season started, they lost a defensive lineman that was pretty core to them.
3:09And they just go out and they win. And they dominated.
3:13And they dominated the Super Bowl favorite. Yes. Rams is so impressive.
3:17One, it's the... Maybe the 49ers were right to go down a week early.
3:21Yeah, it did feel that way. The Rams looked slow.
3:25And so, Andy, I'll just point out... This is a tweet from Adam Levitan, friend of the show.
3:31Debo was 19 of 36 routes. George Kittle was 17 of 36.
3:35So, I mean, maybe that sees a bump up for Debo.
3:38Almost certainly has to. But there's like... Stribling went down and Debo was still kind of a halftime on the routes.
3:45Well, I mean, DeMarcus Robinson came into the game, but they also...
3:49I did, yes. If you look at what they did, it seemed very much that they were being protective of their older players in week one.
3:58Christian McCaffrey, limited work. Kalen Black had four more carries than him.
4:01And there was talk of that he played the whole game cramped up.
4:06With cramps. But then also, you know, Debo and Kittle, those are older guys, limited snaps.
4:11On the Rams side, it was pretty awful all the way around.
4:15You had 155 passing yards for Matthew Stafford. One interception, no touchdowns.
4:19Blake Corum, 10 for 54. Kyron Williams, 11 for 41 and a touchdown.
4:23Kyron was the only of the backs to catch a pass.
4:27I think I saw Corum ran one route. Yeah, I mean, Corum was really great between the tackles.
4:33He looked fast. Both running backs looked great. They both looked awesome.
4:37And slightly different. The offensive line looked really good for the Rams.
4:41Honestly, they both were so impressive. Corum looked outstanding.
4:44Yeah, he's got juice. It was kind of what we, I think, what we have come to expect.
4:50It's perfect. It's one game of exactly what to expect.
4:53Which is, Kyron was... Kyron was fine for fantasy.
4:56Kyron was great for fantasy. He was going to be probably an RB1 in the week, because he had a touchdown and receptions and, you know, whatever.
5:05Corum might have even looked better. Man, he was so fast.
5:08Yeah, he looked like shot out of a cannon.
5:11But then you look at the snap counts, and it was 36 snaps for Kyron to 13 for Corum.
5:1721 routes run for Kyron to two routes run for Corum.
5:21Okay, so we're seeing two? Yeah. So it's like, the usage was heavy on the Kyron side.
5:27Both are awesome. Both, you know, it's... Puka had basically one big play.
5:31Devontae Adams just three for 26. The tight end onslaught for the Rams was...
5:36It was a distribution of random targets. Davis Allen, Tyler Higby, Colby Parkinson.
5:40They all caught passes. Ferguson, one target, no catches.
5:43And mind you, they didn't even activate Max Clare for the game.
5:47So I don't know how predictable that's going to be.
5:50A lot of Twitter bros. I am Mr. Terrence Ferguson from the offseason.
5:54Had him on a lot of roster set. I'm watching the snap counts, the route rates, you know, all of that.
6:01First half was good. A lot of people out there are talking about how he ran, you know, enough routes and this and that.
6:09He didn't. He didn't in the game. But I think that's a good thing.
6:14What I saw from week one is enough to move on.
6:17And if it changes later on... That was the plan from the get-go.
6:22Yeah. Like, see if... Breakout week, yes or no.
6:25Yeah, exactly. Breakout week. He wasn't playing, you know, 80% of the snaps.
6:29And so that's... 53% of the routes while Stafford was on the field.
6:33Yeah, so, you know... He'll have four nice games this year.
6:37And Parkinson will have three. And Davis Allen will have one.
6:40And the wide receiver three for the Rams last year had 18 catches.
6:45So maybe there's not room to go around. The biggest concern for me from, like, actual watching the game and trying to
6:52take something away was Devontae Adams' utilization inside the 10-yard line was bizarre.
6:56I mean, that's where he was king last year.
6:59He was, like, literally, you know, a goal line wide receiver, which isn't a thing.
7:04And they had seven snaps inside the 10 and he was on the field for one of them.
7:10It was weird because I just feel like it was personnel groupings.
7:14That just, you know, you just went in there and they were trying to do...
7:19They were trying to use the running game a lot last night.
7:23And it just... They got stuffed. I am... Like, I...
7:26For the Rams, I agree that the running backs are...
7:29This is probably what to expect. I'm throwing most of this garbage in the garbage for the Rams.
7:35Oh, garbage in the garbage. Yeah, that's where you do it.
7:39Is that what I said? No, but that is...
7:42Yeah, it is what you said. It does work because on that...
7:46That's... Yeah, they put the... Yeah. They really put that garbage in the garbage.
7:50But most of the Rams' performances, you just don't even know.
7:54Yeah, I need to see another week. This was...
7:57Not in Australia. Correct. Yeah. No, I agree. Miles Garrett had fewer tackles than Pukinicura.
8:02Yeah, it was like, does Miles Garrett suck at football all of a sudden?
8:07I find that highly doubtful. No, I think the most encouraging thing out of last night was a healthy Mike Evans as
8:14a third down target, a goal line target, the same Mike Evans we've always had.
8:19And as long as he stays healthy, he'll be of value in drafts.
8:23It's... And I... What do you guys make of the Kalen Black?
8:27Kalen Black looked pretty... Is that cramps? Is that...
8:30This is the new norm? I don't think it's the new norm.
8:34Okay. Kalen Black looked really good and I think he helped establish himself.
8:38Like Jordan James was injured, so Kalen Black got the backup role.
8:42What he did on the field, I think... But then Jordan James wasn't injured yesterday.
8:47He was just inaccurate. Right. So I'm saying he...
8:50But what he did on the field, like I am now confident Kalen Black is, you know, has to be rostered everywhere.
8:57He's a great insurance back. I would be trading for Christian McCaffrey right now.
9:02I think people, if they went out and they said, oh, what's going on?
9:06Why is he not on the field so much Kalen Black?
9:10This is not going to be a 50-50 times.
9:13There's no way at the end of the year that we're going to be like Kalen Black and Christian McCaffrey wearing a 50-50 times shirt.
9:21That's not happening. Zero chance. And the game became a blowout as well.
9:26It's Friday again. Foot Clan Friday. Alrighty. Here we go.
9:29$100 gift card every Friday to a supporter from jointhefoot.com.
9:32The $100 gift card goes to fantasychamps.com. Another $100!
9:35That's right. The winner today is, ooh, hey, DPickle.
9:38Okay. That is the username. And we are fair people.
9:41We choose at random. And so DPickle gets the $100.
9:45Congratulations! Makes me want another Mr. Pickle sandwich. Yeah.
9:48So good. Yeah, you fell in love with that recommendation.
9:51Yeah. Let's talk some news. News and notes from around the league.
9:55Dajon Stribling did not sustain an Achilles injury. That is good news.
9:59I honestly... You know, we're not the injury experts.
10:02We just know what certain things look like after I've seen many of the same type of injuries.
10:08And when he turned and then just went down and the way he grabbed, it was like, oh...
10:14Well, it was non-contact and it wasn't like he rolled an ankle that you're used to seeing.
10:19Yeah, it seemed like it was in play. It will take a few days before we find out.
10:25Usually we have information a little quicker, but because they are in Australia...
10:29You just mean in terms of the severity of what he does have?
10:34Exactly. He's not going to get an MRI until he's back in the States.
10:38No, but they did say his Achilles was intact, which is good news.
10:43Jake Tonjes, knee injury does not look good. I heard MCL.
10:46That could be season ending. Davis Allen carded to the locker room with a possible concussion was the other news that I was unaware of.
10:54The news on AJ Brown, three to six weeks, high ankle sprain, IR stint as possible.
11:00Stay tuned there. Malik Neighbors, that situation has been very weird because the reports are like first...
11:05Neighbors is leaving... The Giants are leaving the decision up to him whether he'll play.
11:10Then, yesterday, he's feeling good. He says he'll let Harbaugh decide if he's going to play.
11:15What about today? This morning, he said the decision is his and no one else's.
11:20I can't put my career at risk. Which... That says you're not playing, doesn't it?
11:25Did you listen to Jeremiah Love's comments about his injury and who's going to decide if he plays?
11:31Yeah, I'm going to do whatever the coach tells me to do, right?
11:36He said if the coach wants me to play with my ankle at 50%, I'll be out there playing.
11:42I want to contribute. If it's 75% and he wants me out there, I'll do that.
11:47It was a completely different answer than the neighbor's scenario.
11:50An ankle sprain versus you destroyed your knee and you spent an entire year rehabbing.
11:55This is just two words, tempered expectation. Yeah, this one's...
11:59I mean, he might not even start. He needs...
12:01I would try to play somebody else. He has to get hit.
12:05Really? You would try to play someone else if he starts?
12:09I don't think I would. I mean, people drafted George Kittle to be the wide receiver one, but we told them...
12:16Or tight end one. Tight end one. We told people, like, probably don't play him.
12:21He was two for 12, by the way. Kittle was not...
12:25We didn't talk about it. He was involved in 43% of the routes or something.
12:29I was pretty... I actually left encouraged of, like, they put him out there and they were trying to get him involved early.
12:37He looked good. He passed the eye test, but, you know, it's going to be a ramp up period.
12:43Let's discuss the neighbor's decision making while we review that game today, because we got matchups.
12:49Tua Tunga by Loa added to the injury report on Thursday with an oblique injury.
12:53Oh my gosh. Cooper Rush now taking all first team reps.
12:57What's wild is that I'm the only person on the planet who's actually mad about this, in terms of the...
13:04From the Falcons' outlook. Because I was relying on him for four yard targets to Kyle Pitts.
13:09I... Cooper Rush, we've seen him have a... He had a short little stint of success for the Dallas Cowboys.
13:16He's probably not worse. He is a backup. Yeah.
13:19How much worse than Tua? I'm not sure. I mean, with...
13:22I think it stinks for the entire Atlanta team.
13:25Like, Bijon is awesome. But there is a certain point.
13:29There is a point of you just cannot overcome, no matter how awesome you are, if your quarterback is inept and the
13:36defense is just laughing hysterically, because they know they don't have to really do much.
13:41We don't like running backs on bad teams. No.
13:44And I've spent the offseason telling you how much I love Devon Achan, but you guys and most of the world believe
13:51that Miami's going to be a terrible team. We like Ashton Jinty.
13:55Most of the world believes that Las Vegas is not going to win a lot of games.
14:01That same category has to apply to Bijon, even though he is spectacular.
14:05If you're on the goal line half as much.
14:08Yep. If you have... If you're three and out and we're, you know, let's say you lose a snap here or there
14:15to Brian Robinson and then you're three and out and then it's like you never see him out there and it's...
14:22You're just going to get frustrated. If I'm a defense and it's Cooper Rush, my game plan is Bijon doesn't beat us.
14:29Right. Make Cooper Rush show the defense that we have to respect what he can do.
14:34I will say Cooper Rush back in the day, you talked about that brief stretch.
14:39Just as a reminder with the Cowboys of 2024, he had a seven game stretch where he basically was the starter for all of the snaps.
14:48He would have been on pace for 3,900 yards, 26 touchdowns, nine interceptions.
14:52He did not play poorly. No, but then the Cowboys were like, no, we don't want you as our backup anymore.
14:59Yeah, it was weird. That's a pretty strong signal.
15:02A handful of quick updates on the matchups we went over yesterday.
15:06Alec Pierce remained limited on Thursday. They still expect him to play.
15:10Zay Flowers upgraded to full. He's going to go.
15:13Nice. Jonathan Brooks remained limited on Thursday and Roma Dunsday limited on Thursday.
15:17And we're expecting, I think, all four of those guys to be in the lineup, but we will continue to monitor.
15:24There is an injury blitz podcast, an exclusive injury blitz podcast every Friday by Matthew Betts, our injury expert.
15:30And that is a perk of the Foot Clan over at jointhefoot.com.
15:34If you want to listen to that, he will break it down with, you know, far more detail and acumen.
15:41Yeah, and I believe he waits for the Friday practice reports so that you've got a little bit more information.
15:48Yes, sir. Let's take a quick break and then we'll jump right into the forecast.
15:52All right, we're going to jump into the forecast.
15:55I should mention also it will be the very first fantasy face off of the year.
16:01The wheel of shame returns at the end of today's episode.
16:04So stay tuned for that. Let's talk matchups. Fantasy forecast presented by prize picks.
16:09Yesterday we covered Buccaneers, Bengals, Saints, Lions, Jets, Titans, Ravens, Colts, Falcons, Steelers, Bears, Panthers, Browns, Jaguars, Bills, and Texas.
16:15Six more matchups remaining today. The Miami Dolphins and first time head coach.
16:20My name is Jeff. My name is Jim. Take on the Las Vegas Raiders and first time head coach Clint Leierface Kubiak.
16:27Vegas line is Las Vegas minus three over under 40 and a half.
16:31It's pretty low. Yes, two bad teams. One of these teams.
16:35I mean, we just this is HNV Gentee and it's like one of these teams will not be a losing football team after week one.
16:43Who's it going to be? Who will be the loser?
16:46Yeah. This is tough. It's really tough. I mean, obviously you're like, who's going to win this one?
16:52We're like, who's going to lose? The Raiders are favored by three, probably just because they are the home team.
16:59Losing Brock Bauer so close to the season is a massive impact on what their offense can do.
17:05But the Dolphins defense should be very, very bad.
17:08So I think I honestly wonder if could the Dolphins offense be the better like of of of both teams, offenses and
17:15defenses is the number one out of those four categories.
17:18The Dolphins offense is that's disgusting. I would say Vegas.
17:22Oh, man. Look, you know what I'm going to say.
17:25I'll stay quiet. Yeah, no, you're I'm going to say do the sound effect for me.
17:30Matt. What? What? Sorry, the Dolphins. He's not listening to the show.
17:34What are you? Oh, I didn't even know what you were trying to.
17:38I was just trying to. I said, you know which side I'm going to go with.
17:44And then I was looking for myself. Gotcha. And looking for Dolphins.
17:48He deserves the poop trophy for that. Malik Willis.
17:51The day. Devon Achan, Chris Bell, Caleb Douglas, rookie debuts, Malik Washington and company, Greg Dulcich.
17:56How involved will he be? You're starting Achan. That's your lock.
17:59Yes. The rest of it. I mean, most of you are not going to start Malik Willis in week one, but you're
18:07going to watch from the sideline because he's his his price picks projection thirty nine and a half rushing yards.
18:13So it's the highest among all quarterbacks in week one.
18:17That's so juicy. It's a cheat code. Although he has never attempted more than twenty three passes in a game in his six career starts.
18:25I mean, I mean, look, I'm willing to put I'm willing to come in here and look the fool on Monday morning
18:32if Malik Willis falls on his face this week.
18:35But I will not be surprised if Malik Willis is one of the biggest talking points this week facing the Raiders in week one.
18:43I'm with you, man. So I am looking forward to finding out.
18:47Now, here's what I don't want to happen. I don't want an injury to ruin our ability to find out whether our predictions are right.
18:55Yeah. Chris Bell goes down again with the me.
18:58I will say this. The problem for Malik Willis is not Malik Willis.
19:02He does have the worst receiving core in the league, in my opinion.
19:07Maybe. Sure. Maybe the two rookies turn into a boat.
19:10But as of this moment, they are rookies who have not played, who are starting week one, who aren't first round draft picks.
19:17So that's like not historically successful. I mean, Malik Washington, Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell or Trey Tucker, Jalen Naylor, Jack Besh.
19:24Well, you take Brock Bowers out and yes, the Raiders become.
19:28And Brock Bowers is out. Yes. I literally can't take him out this week.
19:33This is the NFL. Week one. Are you just, what are we doing here?
19:37They're just getting this. Save this for like week, week 13.
19:41This is great. This is Ashton Jinty. Get it out of the way.
19:45Get it out of the way. So this is Jinty, HN log out, move on.
19:50Yes. From a fantasy start perspective. And then watch.
19:53And then watch Willis and the two rookie wide receivers.
19:56And also, I think it's really important to watch the wide receivers on the Raiders' side while you, I think it's going
20:03to be several weeks or, you know, a couple of weeks at least for Brock Bowers to get back.
20:10And if Jack Besh emerges or Jalen Naylor has 12 targets, you know, that's going to be an important thing for a couple of weeks on spot starts.
20:19I will say in our listener league, which is, it's a 14 team or double flex.
20:24So it is a deeper league. I got Trey Tucker in my lineup right now as a double flex.
20:30I get it. The matchup is there. I get it.
20:34There's not, who's left? Yes, exactly. I mean, you could have started Matt Collins yesterday.
20:39So. So how do you feel about Michael Mayer as the Bowers replacement?
20:43Are we looking? Break glass. I think. It could be okay.
20:47But there's more than likely other people. Jawan Johnson, Dolan Schultz.
20:50Those guys I would start over. Over, over. I did just send you a quick trade offer in league record, Mike, because
20:57I want you to have to click reject on it and have, have done that.
21:02Okay. So I'll go. You pull it up. Because I would love to hear what this is.
21:08I'm going to go check it out. I just want, I want you to have to reject it here on the air just to have clicked the button.
21:17Oh. Let's hear it, Mike. It is. Unless he doesn't.
21:20Unless he accepts it. It is Malik Willis versus Tyler Shuck.
21:24Oh, so he's going to get, he's willing to give you Tyler Shuck.
21:28Yeah, he was. But you rejected it. I did.
21:31I just want him to have rejected it. I love that.
21:35You know what I'm saying? I love that because he has been Mr.
21:39Tyler Shuck all off season. He just said he's Mr.
21:43Malik Willis. He is. Yeah. Actually, what he said is.
21:46I've been on the Malik Willis show. You've been on my side.
21:50No, what he said was, I don't like Tyler Shuck.
21:53Yeah, that's what he said. Green Bay. Talking on.
21:56Talk to me in week five when Jordan Tyson comes back and leaves after two snaps.
22:01Okay. George. Yeah. Why did I say George? George.
22:04Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings. George. George Packers.
22:07Against George Vikings. It's week one. Oh my gosh.
22:10George has the line. Where did George come from?
22:13It started with a G. Like Green Bay. That's, that's the closest I can help you with.
22:19I saw the first letter and I just kind of filled in the rest.
22:23I made some assumptions. Green Bay Packers against the Minnesota Vikings.
22:27Why did I say George? This is awesome. I mean, this is the matchup you want.
22:32Yeah. Divisional game. The debut of Kyler as the quarterback.
22:35Minnesota minus one and a half at home. Yeah.
22:38Over under 46 and a half. They split the series last year.
22:42Jordan Love, Marshawn Lloyd, Christian Watson. Uh, I've, I've seen, um, I don't remember where the report came from, but it was
22:50like an NFL executive poll and Matthew golden had been picked as the breakout of the season.
22:55Saw that. Which is, was it followed by like, ha ha ha ha ha ha.
23:00It was the executives of only the Packers. Um, no, I, to me it's, it, that will be so fun to watch.
23:07I think they're going to be more pass heavy without Josh Jacobs.
23:11I think you're going to see Watson read golden, the distribution.
23:15That'll be fun. Tucker craft. How healthy are you?
23:18Where are you guys in terms of like, you know, you had the discussion on Kittle.
23:23We kind of said, don't start him with Tucker craft.
23:26Are you in the same boat? Are you, or you think that, you know, if you took Tucker craft in the seventh
23:34round, this is why I didn't draft Tucker craft.
23:37So I need to like recuse myself. I don't have this decision because if you drafted him in the fifth, you, you
23:44have to, you, you pretty much have to start.
23:47I would say you probably do have to play.
23:50I would not start him. Um, I mean, we, there's so much pressure on the shoulders of Juwan Johnson this week.
23:57He is getting recommended so much. This is like, I like the Packers.
24:01Christian Watson is a, my guy. Um, I think Marshawn Lloyd can get it going.
24:06We have all, when is Jacobs going to be back?
24:09I don't know, but this is about the worst possible first week that we can have.
24:15That's what, that's how I was feeling. I mean, it's like, you know, you're, you're on the road against the number one
24:22quarterback defense six running back one against wide receivers.
24:25You're it. Yes. It's division. So, you know, you're going to play them twice, but on the road against Minnesota for week
24:32one is they're in excellent defense and excellent defense.
24:35So it, I'm playing like, I'm, I'm playing my normal guys, but I'm, I understand what I'm getting myself into.
24:41The only Viking I would play this week is Justin Jefferson.
24:45If it's me. Uh, I, yeah, I think that would be the hope.
24:49Um, you've, you've got, there's teams that might have to start one of either Aaron Jones, Jordan Mason.
24:55And I, I also would say Kyler is okay as a start, but I don't, I don't want Kyler.
25:02I would, I would, I would prefer to only start Justin Jefferson.
25:06Would you go with Kyler or would you go to Malik Willis?
25:09I think I'd go Kyler. Okay. He's got Justin Jefferson, not Chris Bell.
25:14That is a fair argument. Um, on the other side, Watson, you probably are playing.
25:19Oh, Watson's a great. Keep an eye on. Oh, he's tough, tough matchup.
25:23Yes. Tough match. If you had a Rico Dowdle, you'd play Lloyd over him this week, even though the matchup is bad.
25:30I would play Lloyd. Like Tony Pollard against the Jets or Lloyd in this bad, bad matchup.
25:36Trey Tucker right now, that lineup I talked about, I have him in over Marshawn Lloyd.
25:41Do you? I do. I think it could be tough.
25:44The Vikings are terrifying. It won't only be Lloyd.
25:47It really won't. Right. It will be some Chris Brooks, some Caleb freaking Johnson.
25:52Yeah. And it will be a world. I mean, if Lloyd gets in the end zone, you'll be happy with this performance.
25:59If he doesn't, I think you'll be disappointed. I agree with that.
26:03Yeah. I think it's interesting. 46 and a half point over under.
26:07It's not bad, but Minnesota favored. Yeah. And it is, it is really a good Minnesota defense on the road.
26:14I think I, I changed back to Rico Dowdle and Tony Pollard.
26:18I would, I would start them over Lloyd. I'm sorry.
26:21The time has expired. You're, you're, you're locked. We have to see, you know, what the rotation is there.
26:27Did you see what Kyle threw into the dock for the next matchup?
26:31It is, uh, the Washington Commanders against Philadelphia in Philly.
26:35So yeah, that's where the George was coming from.
26:38Uh, you know what I mean? I was thinking of the George Washington command.
26:42Yeah. Yeah. Games in Philly, Philly minus six over under 44 and a half.
26:47That is a, that's a pretty big line for this divisional battle.
26:51New offensive coordinators for both teams. Dang Philly by six Philly by six.
26:55Who? Yeah. The offensive line is a huge question mark for the Washington commanders, uh, or as I call them, the George
27:02Washington commanders and the defensive line for the Eagles is going to be a problem.
27:07Yes. I mean, that is where this line comes from.
27:11Yeah, it really is. The, the offensive line for the commanders was bad and then got much worse this off season.
27:17This is part of, we were, we were talking on the footcast yesterday, you know, the JCM Bill Krosky merit.
27:24You, you, you're hoping that he, you're hoping that he is the one that breaks out cause he's got juice and youth, not Rashad white.
27:32He's still groined up right now for it. For this matchup.
27:36I, I think that Rashad white is going to be the leader in snaps, maybe even by a wide margin.
27:42The fact that he's not groined up and you know, past protection leaking out like the, you're going to have a real
27:50problem here with the, with the Eagles D line.
27:53I think you're doing a lot of waiting and watching with Washington this week.
27:57Um, I'm assuming you'll start McLaurin because you drafted him to be in your lineup and Jaden, of course, but the JCM digs a con quo.
28:06Keep an eye on how Washington's offense looks this week.
28:09It's, it's a tough matchup. I'm not saying overreactive.
28:12It all goes to crap. It's just, yeah, it might go to crap.
28:16I have digs down as like a wide receiver for Devante Smith was my start of the week.
28:22Again, you're watching Makai lemons involvement and Don Tavian wicks.
28:26I think could be one of those guys that surprises you in week one could be on our waiver show.
28:32Dallas Goddard. I like it. I think the most familiar pass catchers for Jalen Hurts are the ones you can rely on the most this weeks this week.
28:41So Goddard, I would not be surprised if he has an okay week as well.
28:46Goddard likely got a Juwanson. Which way are you going?
28:50Um, man, I'm fine with all of them, but I, I lean on.
28:54I lean likely, especially with Malik neighbors, maybe getting off to a slow start in the matchup against Dallas.
29:00But I, I think all three are good. The biggest question mark to me in this game is Jaden Daniels guy that you drafted to start.
29:09Is he a must start? Do you start him over everyone?
29:12If you drafted him, you're starting him. Yeah. That's how I lean.
29:16Yeah. I mean, Jaden Daniels, Malik Willis, Jason. Uh, I, that would be Jaden Daniels.
29:21Um, there because the league has the highest rushing line.
29:24Yeah. But, but they're both great rushing mobile quarterbacks.
29:27I mean, I, you know, but I'm looking at like Baker Mayfield against Cincinnati.
29:32Um, you know, or Jared Goff against New Orleans.
29:35Which I love golf. I love golf. Start of the week.
29:39So yeah, both of those are our start starts of the week that I, I think that one, that one's tough for me.
29:46Yeah. Maybe, maybe that's where you go and you just wait and see what this offense looks like.
29:52Arizona against the Los Angeles chargers. Vegas line, Los Angeles minus nine and a half.
29:57Oh, look at that. It's moved towards the card.
30:00It was dub digits. Yeah. It was 10 and a half.
30:04I believe over under 47 and a half scared LA.
30:07You got to come through us. You want to go to the Superbowl?
30:11It starts in Arizona. Well, it starts in Los Angeles.
30:14Oh, darn. It starts with Arizona in Los Angeles.
30:17Yeah. Start at home. Um, only seven times in the last decade.
30:21Did you have a week one team favored by nine and a half?
30:26Those teams went six and one, but only two covered the spread.
30:30Because this is, oh no. Oh, I was going to make the joke.
30:34I was going to do it. Andy's almost upset of the week.
30:38It's a lot of points. It's a lot of points.
30:41It's a lot of points. It's a lot of points.
30:44It's a lot of points. Even though Jim Harbaugh came out and said, look, it's September.
30:50It's time to play our first game. And I support no cause foreign or domestic other than the greatness of the Los Angeles Chargers.
30:58Even though he came out and said that. I watched him in an interview this morning, uh, where he was saying, I mean, oh, Harbaugh.
31:06He goes, can I call my shot? Can I Babe Ruth this?
31:10Can I just predict something? He says at the end of Justin Herbert's career, when it's all said and done, when he
31:17retires, he will be known as the greatest quarterback of all time.
31:21The greatest quarterback of all time. I mean, that fits the quote he just said about, uh, this one.
31:27Okay. You see why the Cardinals are going to win?
31:30No, I mean, they're up against it. No, they're up against it.
31:34Look, uh, the Cardinals staying in this game, it comes down to an offense that I think will be productive top half type of offense this year.
31:43Brissette, Jeremiah Love's going to play Tyler Algier, Michael Wilson, Marvin Harrison, Trey McBride, all of those guys.
31:49Uh, this will be a tough one. This is a good defense for the Chargers.
31:54Great defense. And, uh, look, the odds are not in their favor.
31:58No. So Hampton is the start of the week.
32:01This is good news for you because usually when I am blown away by your start of the, by your almost upset.
32:08Yeah. It's those ones where you're, you're right when we're shocked.
32:12I need a reason. It is a lot. I need a reason to root for my own team.
32:18Um, man, you got one really good defense and one really good offense.
32:22Well, and they're both on the same team. If you're ever going to have a bit of a surprise, I tell you
32:29the defenses are ahead of the offenses. Oftentimes in week one, we've seen it through two games for the most part.
32:36Um, yeah, I mean the Chargers should win the game.
32:40That's the, they're the heavy favorites. Lad McConkie, my guy, stay healthy.
32:43My friend price picks projection for him. 55.5. 55.
32:46An extra five for receiving yards. Yeah. Kyle threw the extra point five in there, but, uh, I love lad this week.
32:54Of course Hampton do it. Herbert. Sure. Charlie Kohler.
32:57Well, well, the nasty boy, keep an eye on him.
33:00You're not starting. No color. Are you playing? Um, we'll just stay in the same magic.
33:05Would you rather play huge or Michael Wilson? That is, that's an awesome question.
33:10I, I, I, I, I, I lean Quinton Johnson.
33:13Yeah. Michael Wilson. I'll go Quinton. Okay. And then you're pay attention.
33:17See what Marv looks like in this game. You know, Trey McBride is a lock.
33:22Jeremiah love. How are you feeling about that? Start.
33:25Well, we'll finish there. Yeah. That's, that's, I think the biggest question is, can you rely on him coming back?
33:31I mean, his quote saying, if I, if he wants me to go 50%, 75%, whatever, that implies he's not a hundred
33:38percent and a rookie and his first game back dealing with injury is not going to get a ton of work.
33:45He looked electric, but this is a tough matchup.
33:48Um, so I think we've, we've really got to just ask the, some start sit decisions.
33:54Yeah. One, one hour ago, uh, just to share it.
33:57John wine fuss. Uh, one of the Josh wine fuss.
34:00Sorry. One of the bigger beats for Arizona. One hour ago said that the expectation is Jeremiah love will play against the chargers.
34:08And he received this information with a source familiar with the situation.
34:12Not that we're like you said, it may be, it's more about how much, not if you.
34:17Yeah. So, you know, love or scataboo. I would go scataboo.
34:21I would go love. I mean, you got, you got the return from injury for scataboo.
34:26Oh gosh. Um, his injury was, you know, a much more significant.
34:30Uh, let me actually consult what I have. What about Bucky Irving?
34:34Andy, I have Bucky. I like Bucky this week.
34:37I have Bucky and Kim above both, both above Jeremiah.
34:40David Montgomery or Jeremiah love. I'll play love. If I, if I had those choices, that's what I would do.
34:47If I had Jeremiah, I love, I'm going to still try to play him.
34:51I, the explosiveness of, of love, I think could compensate for the lack of, you know, every down work.
34:58The pass catching of love you're down is a nine and a half point, you know, factor here.
35:04The Cardinals should be playing from behind throwing the ball a ton.
35:08Love will be the pass catcher. I that's where I lean, but I look, those other guys are fine too.
35:14And you don't run the risk of a re-injury with them.
35:18So, um, anything else from this game you guys want to touch on?
35:22Uh, Omari and Hampton just stay healthy. That's all I'm asking.
35:26That's it. You don't even have to play well.
35:29Just stay healthy. Yeah. How about everybody? I think if he stayed healthy and didn't play well, you would come into.
35:36Oh, I'd be very upset. Really mad. But I would not be as upset.
35:40So I'm, I'm lowering my bar. Okay. All right.
35:43We'll take a quick break and jump into Sunday night football.
35:47I thought more about this Omari and Hampton situation.
35:50And if I, Omari and Hampton, you need to do well.
35:53I will not be, I will not be okay at all.
35:57If you make it out healthy and perform poorly.
36:00Oh my God. My start of the week. Yes.
36:03You do need to do well. Dallas, New York.
36:06This is a fun Sunday night game. It's in New York, Dallas minus three on the road over under 47 and a half.
36:13Okay. We'll take that. That puts it at 25 to 22.
36:17Uh, last year, Dallas games averaged a 59 combined combined point total.
36:21It was the six highest in the last 25 years.
36:24Their defense was 32nd and points given up. They will be better than that.
36:29They were 30th in yards per game. 31st in EPA per pass.
36:3330th in EPA per rush. 30th in turnovers. They were so bad.
36:37But this should be a really fun Sunday night game.
36:40Dak Javante. You got the two superstars at wide receiver CD and Pickens.
36:44And because we are the humans that we are, we can't just be satisfied that they have two amazing wide outs.
36:51We have to be like, this one's better than that one.
36:55For sure. This one. Pickens is going to be way better than CD this year.
37:00They're both going to be awesome. Yeah. That's the headline.
37:03Feel good about Javante? I love teams like this.
37:06I mean, Dak, Javante, CD, Pickens. That's it. They're all going to work.
37:10They're all going to eat. Check out. On the other side, Mike had Jackson Dart as his start of the week yesterday.
37:18He averaged 41 rushing yards a game in his starts.
37:21Every single one of those rushing yards will be terrifying.
37:24But maybe he can stay healthy. And are you playing Dak in this game?
37:29The favored team? Are you playing Jackson Dart? Your start of the week, Mike.
37:33I would play Dak. I put Dart as the start of the week because he was drafted a little bit later.
37:40And I love this matchup. I think that Dart can be, he should end up as one of the better fantasy quarterbacks this week.
37:48But Dak was outrageously high in my season long projections.
37:51This matchup against the Giants does not scare me.
37:54And both wide outs are healthy. So Dak looks, Dak should, honestly, I don't want to be over hyperbolic, but it's like
38:02Dak should be a top five guy at the end of the year.
38:06Yes. If, if CD and George go, you know, the, the, the, they miss like one or two games each Dak is going to be so freaking good.
38:15If their defense is not as bad, I think you're going to see, obviously like you're not going to have a historically bad year every year.
38:24No. And so you could see that tempered a little bit, but yeah, I mean, with weapons like that, you know, very excited.
38:31Maybe you answered it sort of already, Jason, but Mike, where are you at the camp?
38:36Scadaboo injury, the workload, what you expect in week one against Dallas.
38:40Uh, sounds like both of you guys are starting him, but yeah.
38:44Are you expecting to see a committee? No, I'm, I'm expecting that.
38:48It has been dicey, you know, hard to get the vibes of what's going on with Scadaboo with the injury, with how
38:56he's fitting in with the team, you know, reports of, of training camp of him rubbing people the wrong way.
39:02Uh, you know, like hitting in, in, in practices where the defense can't hit him hitting the defender and then the defense getting mad.
39:10But I do think that it's, I think he will be the primary or premier running back.
39:16Yeah. I just, I just, I just fused two words as I am one to do.
39:21I think that he is a strong play this week and he'll be their main guy.
39:26Jason, you feel the same way? I, I am hopeful.
39:29I certainly re I mean, I love Scadaboo and I hope that he is a true three down bell cow, heavy usage back.
39:37I am much more, uh, pensive about it, whether or not he will receive the workload he should get.
39:43Um, he's also, you know, I, I, I called him as one of my players that I think is going to be
39:51better in the second half of the year than the first half of the year.
39:55I think the giants are going to have their hand forced to where it's like, yeah, we've got to give this guy work.
40:03He plays better when he's out there touching the ball 30 times, you know, like a, a Marshawn Lynch or a Derrick Henry type of guy.
40:12It's just running into over and over and over.
40:15Um, I'm thrilled that the first week matchup is Dallas because I think he can have five fewer touches in this game.
40:22Um, then he'll, you know, then his peak towards the end of the season and still have a great game.
40:28The Denver Broncos take on the Kansas city chiefs.
40:31What a Monday night game. We're going to have here in the AFC West Vegas line, Kansas city minus two and a
40:39half over under 43 and a half screams defensive battle.
40:42Yeah. We'll try to return from a very bad knee injury in a very short amount of time.
40:48Currently started at least in, in terms of the sleeper league lineups, 31% of them.
40:53Yeah. It's, it's wild in our league of record to be going to be seeing yours truly.
40:58Yeah. Going into week one and there are so many guys I would rather play.
41:03He's my quarterback. He's my quarterback. 20. I hope, I hope that what this stat means is that 31% of leagues are super flex.
41:11Like 19 for me. Um, yeah, I mean there, there's no chance I would start him in a single quarterback league.
41:18And it's not to say he can't hit on a great deep bomb to, you know, Tyquan Thornton, Tyquan Thornton or Xavier
41:25worthy or, you know, Cyrus Allen comes in and surprises on a snap.
41:30You know, he's Patrick Mahomes. He's great. You never said Rushy Rice in that whole group.
41:35Well, I said no bombs. Yeah. I said deep bomb.
41:38I think he's had one catch of over 20 air yards in his career.
41:43Like, are you guys in agreement with me that, uh, like Tyler Shuck at Detroit, I would play him over Patrick Mahomes.
41:50I would play Malik Willis over, over Patrick Mahomes.
41:53Um, it's, it's a really good defense. I think that they're going to want to try to establish it with Kenneth Walker.
42:00Um, I don't know how much he will rush when I was, when I was looking at prize picks lines, the, the
42:07rushing attempts were really tempting because they were very low on Patrick Mahomes.
42:12So then I'm like, I don't know, you know, on that, on that knee, I don't know if he's going to run the ball.
42:20And if he does, he's not going to be as effective as he was last year.
42:25Um, and that's where a lot of his fantasy points came from last year.
42:29So yeah, I mean, obviously should be rostered best or second best quarterback all time, but no, for this matchup week one
42:37off the knee, I'm just, I'm just holding onto him on my bench.
42:41The defense should be very good for Kansas city as well.
42:45Ken Walker should be the main cog in this offense.
42:48I'm hoping we see quite a few targets in this game for Ken Walker.
42:52That would be exciting. Red zone opportunities. Um, I'll be watching like yesterday.
42:57We talked all about the main focus in week one is sometimes it's start sit stuff, but not often because you've drafted
43:04guys and you're going to play him in week one.
43:07The bigger thing is what are you watching for?
43:10Does Rashi rice look like a good player? Yeah.
43:13I literally just that sentence. And it should be so easy to see because snap one, well, snap one's probably like, let's get it to Walker.
43:22But as soon as they drop back to pass, it's going to be that little play that they do every time where
43:29rushy rice just hits a little slant gets the ball.
43:32And then he will either break the tackle like he always does or he won't.
43:37And that's, that's all you got to see right there.
43:40Travis Kelsey had 19 targets in two games against Denver last year with the offensive line challenges at left tackle.
43:47I won't be shocked if Travis Kelsey is peppered with, uh, what I'll call Demario Douglas targets.
43:53Did you see Douglas was four for 20 last night?
43:56Impressive four catches, 20 yards. I think Kelsey in a, in any sort of half or full PPR is fine.
44:03On the other side, JK Dobbins is listed as the running back one on this team.
44:08You'll see plenty of RJ Harvey in the game as well.
44:11I don't know if we'll see Jonah Coleman. That's one of the things that we're watching for is what's the rotation of the backfield there.
44:20Yeah, absolutely. And we're watching, uh, Pat Bryant, aren't we?
44:23We are watching. Yeah, we are. Yes, we are.
44:26We're watching, especially because one of my other bench wide receivers, Dajon Stribling is down.
44:31Oh, so we need some depth there, but yeah, Jalen Waddle, we're watching him as well.
44:36There was some talk of Pat Bryant being more involved than people are going to believe, but we'll see.
44:42And then Bo Nix. I mean, I, we like Bo Nix over the course of the year.
44:48The reason Bo Nix was not in my guy consideration is the first six weeks of the year for Denver is brutal.
44:55Yeah. From a production standpoint, I, you're going to go into Arrowhead on Monday Night Football in the first week of the
45:02year where again, we've seen defenses be dominant so far and have a huge fantasy game.
45:08It's hard for me to believe that that's going to happen in week one.
45:12Bo Nix is also coming off of an injury.
45:15Yes. Like his, his is kind of lost. Breaking news.
45:19All right. I'll let Dasey take this one. We knew this was coming.
45:23At least I did. The Patriots are placing wide receiver AJ Brown on injured reserve due to his high ankle sprain.
45:30So he will be gone for a minimum of four weeks.
45:33That does not mean he will only miss four weeks.
45:37He could miss six weeks. Uh, you know, they, they were saying three to six.
45:42I think that that's the timeline and five weeks.
45:45And I mean, if you, if, if he misses six weeks with the injury and already ruined your week one, I don't
45:52know where their bi-week is off the top of my head, but I mean, this is a guy that, I mean, what a terrible pick.
46:00What a terrible, what a terrible. Well, I mean, terrible.
46:03Just start to the whole week 11 season for the Patriots.
46:07Okay. Week 11 is a bi-week. Like, and even when he comes back, we know that he will have multiple weeks.
46:14So statistically speaking, he will have multiple weeks where his production is down.
46:18Is this. Yeah. I mean, it is not, um, we've not even seen it with Drake may, you know what I mean?
46:25We haven't, we haven't got to see it. And now you're going to have limitations potentially when you come back.
46:32It's brutal. It's fancy football is so fun. You know, Jay, uh, it's delightful.
46:37And you know, my favorite part are injuries. Right.
46:39That's just like, so cool. What a man's game.
46:42Um, it's part of it. Has there ever been a league in which like you, I don't even want to start down this road.
46:50Let it go. Um, Dobbins versus Chuba against Chicago.
46:53Which one do you like more? Tough matchup. It.
46:56I will never say Dobbins. Or I'm sorry. Oh, man.
47:00So Mike's on Chuba. I'm going to take, I'm going to take Dobbins.
47:04Give me that in my board. I disagree with Mike.
47:07I'm going to take Dobbins. We'll never say Chuba.
47:10Uh, Lloyd. Marshawn Lloyd or JK Dobbins. Dobbins. Yeah.
47:13I think I would go Dobbins. I will say that Chuba, if for some reason Jonathan Brooks does not suit up, because
47:20that's because he's, uh, still facing corporal punishment from general soreness.
47:24Yes. Corporal. Corporal. Yes. Um, exactly. If Jonathan Brooks, uh, doesn't suit up, then I would go Chuba.
47:30Um, okay. Jalen Waddle. We feel good. We feel excited.
47:33I'm excited to watch it. It's a tough matchup, but he should, he should do all right.
47:39And this is, you know, this is a Monday night game.
47:42These guys are going to, uh, hopefully surprise us and, and go over the 43 and a half point line.
47:49Cause I think, I think I would, I would say that our expectation right now is that this is going to be a very defensive battle.
47:57Not a lot of offense, not a lot of points.
48:01I'm hoping on Monday night football, maybe we get a little sweet surprise, but I'm doubtful.
48:06Jalen McMillan doubtful for week one, a little injury update for you.
48:10JCM cleared to play in week one. Uh, Mike had said he had been growing up.
48:15He is growing down. Yeah. He's doing all right.
48:18Let's, uh, jump into the face off fantasy face off presented by prize picks.
48:23The wheel of shame returns for what I believe is a sixth year.
48:27Oh man. A sixth season, a reminder for those are those that are coming in for the first time at the end of Friday's episodes.
48:35We are building four player lineups based on more or less projections in the prize picks app.
48:41We each make a, uh, selection at quarterback running back wide receiver and tight end.
48:46And the loser spins the wheel of shame the following week, which is always a D light.
48:51It's always a good time. So let's get right into it.
48:55My quarterback this week, Baker Mayfield. Okay. And, uh, he is my green goblin.
49:00Each of us allowed one green goblin pick a week, which is a, uh, just a little nicer, a little easier, nicer
49:07projection, softer, more than one 61.5 on the best.
49:10That is pretty soft for Baker Mayfield. Yeah. That seems pretty achievable.
49:14I used my green goblin on the quarterback as well.
49:17I found that that was the most difficult of the four positions for me this week.
49:22I am taking Jordan love more than two and a half rush attempts.
49:27Okay. In a divisional matchup must win. Uh, the running game might not be there.
49:32A couple of little scrambies. The rush attempts ones.
49:35I love them. You're addicted to them. They're funny to watch for.
49:38They are. They are. Cause every single time he goes, it's like, yes, just need two more.
49:44Uh, I like the new graphics. You see the green goblins up there too.
49:49I have joined Andrew. Oh. On Malik Willis. Okay.
49:52Passing yards, 179.5 more. Not a green. That's for sure.
49:55That is not a green goblin. Uh, my running back is from the same team as my quarterback.
50:01I'm taking Bucky Irving more than two receptions. That is the, uh, I can't believe that's not, that's my favorite one for the week.
50:09That's a delightful one. Uh, man, I, I, I do worry about Kenneth, uh, gain.
50:14Well, they're taking some of those passing downs, but I'm hopeful as the new Bucky Irving, uh, truther at heart that he has 50 receptions.
50:22I'm taking a running back reception, uh, category as well.
50:25David Montgomery more than one and a half reception.
50:28All right. I still think he's going to be a, uh, three down back for this.
50:33That is, uh, that's, that's, I like that. Yeah.
50:36That's probably going to happen. It seems very achievable.
50:39Uh, well, all this positivity needs to stop. Okay.
50:42It's time to hate. Quinn Sean Judkins. Oh, of course.
50:4659 and a half rushing yards. You're taking the less.
50:49Less. Yeah. Well, I'm, uh, I'm, I'm willing to hate.
50:52You ready for this one? Okay. Jerry Judy. Yeah.
50:55Dude. Three receptions. Oh, man. I'm taking less. Oh, that's right.
50:59With his brother with Watson. Deshaun Watson. Look. That's dangerous.
51:02The amount of physics that has to happen between Deshaun Watson's hands.
51:06I get it. And Jerry Judy's hands. I don't.
51:09I will say. I don't like it. This is not targets.
51:13So he could still have targets in this game.
51:16That's right. I think that's where you might, you might be okay here.
51:20Well, uh, that's where I'm going. All right. I like that.
51:23I like that a lot. Yeah, I don't. I wouldn't.
51:27I'm scared of it, but I like that. You did it.
51:30Yeah, that's gonna be fun to watch. Um, I'm taking my, my guy Garrett Wilson, more than 60 and a half receiving yards in Tennessee.
51:39That's a line that he beats on the Reg and he did that with, with Justin Fields.
51:44Now he's got superstar Geno Smith. Of course, Mike.
51:47Where are you at? I got my start of the week.
51:51Tedaro, Tedaroa McMillan of the Carolina Panthers. Look, Chicago, their secondary is beatable.
51:5558 and a half receiving yards. I will take them more.
51:59Interesting. He is your start of the week. And that means you have a green goblin left.
52:04Cause you haven't picked one yet. That is correct.
52:07My final selection here. You'll, you'll see. I may have ran into an issue.
52:12Oh, I love it. Dallas Goddard. I talked about him earlier today.
52:1634.5 receiving yards. I'm taking the more. I trust the most experienced pass catchers in that offense.
52:21There's my four. All right. If you want experienced on a pass catcher, I'm going to take this.
52:27Someone that is old and forgotten completely. We, we completely forget about this guy.
52:32Darren Waller. Darren Waller. Darren Waller. Darren Waller. In week one.
52:35More. You don't have to do that. More than 17 and a half receiving yards.
52:40Okay. He doesn't have to do much. Okay. Well, but I know he'll do it.
52:45Sure. I like it. Um, I mean, we all, who doesn't love Cooper rush guys?
52:50Oh, I had this in before, uh, to, I went down with his weird phantom back injury, but it's fine.
52:57It's Kyle pits. It's two and a half receptions.
53:00Okay. Or I, yeah, we should be fine. I mean, that one is like the most freebie of freebies, but of course,
53:07you know, we have injuries like we always do, but that was fantasy face off presented by prize picks.
53:13Actually, prize picks, but they help you out when you have the injuries with Friday flex, win your flex or get your net loss back in bonus lineups.
53:22Prize picks run your game. Thrilled to have them back for this year because the fantasy face off is too much fun each and every week.
53:31Um, I'm looking up there. That was a lot of, uh, that was a lot of like positivity overall.
53:37There's only two, usually plays only two less picks up there.
53:41Yeah. I mean, it's cause they're both Browns. It's, it's way more fun.
53:45Figure a vote against the Sean Watson is a vote against Judkins and Judy.
53:50Yeah. It's, it's more fun to be on the higher side, the more side, but I mean, I have to, we have
53:57to, we have to make some statements sometimes. Yeah, we do.
54:01So a Monday, don't forget it. Submit your Monday Punday stuff over the weekend.

54:24Yeah. Not, not necessarily. I'm not saying on the field.
54:28Yeah. I hope on the field. Yeah, we hope.
54:31I just know the questions are going to be all Juwan.
54:34Just remember, if you remember one thing from today's show, Mike hates Tyler shot.
