A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury107:31

A.J. Brown is looking at a six to eight week recovery timeline, which is a long absence for fantasy leagues.

Insight page

Aaron Jones

NegativeInjury9:32

Aaron Jones did not practice on Wednesday, which the source finds troubling; uncertainty remains about whether he will play, but the source believes DJ Dallas will get more work and is the more trusted player if Jones is unavailable.

Insight page

AJ Dillon

NegativeRole31:31

A.J. Dillon is not good, and the Packers did not sign Austin Eckler, leaving Chuba Hubbard as the clear lead back option.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

PositiveUsage8:39

If Travis Etienne Jr. is downgraded or unavailable, Alvin Kamara could see significant work on Sunday, including one-yard passing opportunities; the source suggests Kamara as a potential beneficiary of Etienne's hamstring injury.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveProjection50:57

The source mentions Blake Corum as a comparable play to Emmett Johnson in a favorable game script, though notes Blake Corum will get more work than Emmett.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveInjury8:25

Brock Bowers was limited in practice on Wednesday and could return this week; the source states he will definitely start him once Bowers is active, though remains skeptical about whether he will actually be active despite limited practice participation.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection11:00

The source selects Brock Purdy as a start of the week for the second consecutive week against Arizona; he leads quarterbacks in EPA per play, is an eight-and-a-half point home favorite, and executes with perfect efficiency through surgical processing and ball placement rather than arm strength. Currently at 8.9% touchdown pass rate (above his historical 7% baseline) with room to regress and still perform at an elite level. No Demarcus Robinson, Christian Kirk, or Mike Evans availability is immaterial to his outlook.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection31:08

Bryce Young has six touchdowns through two games. The source considers him a good start this week against Cleveland, citing the Browns' weak defense (Miles Garrett gone) and Young's prolific recent production. The source would start Young over Justin Herbert, noting Young has had two prolific weeks and there's no guarantee Herbert is better. Young is consensus quarterback 15.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

NegativeInjury47:48

Caleb Douglas, the only player in Miami's passing offense who showed rapport with Malik Willis, is on the practice report with an ankle injury. Source doubts he plays this week.

Insight page
NegativeProjection48:17

The source doubts Caleb Douglas plays this week, suggesting he is not a viable fantasy option in Week 3 outside of very deep leagues.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveBreakout48:25

The source expresses excitement for Chris Bell's future as a good wide receiver and rookie prospect, though notes this is not the game to play him in Week 3.

Insight page
NegativeRole48:48

Chris Bell is a rookie wide receiver with good future prospect, but this game against Kansas City is not the matchup to play him in.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection109:00

Christian Watson is expected to have a strong performance tonight (Thursday night game), with the source suggesting he will 'eat' (perform well).

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveRole31:31

With Jonathan Brooks going to IR and A.J. Dillon not being good, Chuba Hubbard is a must-start this week. The source notes that if the Panthers team is for real, Chuba will be awesome. The source would much rather have drafted Chuba than Judkins.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveProjection45:45

Without the yardage production, Tyler Warren would be discussed in the same breath as Colston Loveland and other elite tight end prospects; the source implies Loveland is in an elite tier of tight end upside.

Insight page

Cordarrelle Patterson

NegativeMatchup54:51

Patterson is a bench recommendation for this week in a game with bad weather and low over-under; while he has the talent to take anything to the house, the source prefers other middling guys with more confidence in the passing game and targets heading their direction.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeInjury24:00

DJ Moore could potentially return in Week 3 against Buffalo. The Chargers-Bills matchup is the second-highest over-under of the week at 50.5, making it very exciting for fantasy purposes.

Insight page
NegativeInjury26:12

DJ Moore was limited on Wednesday, which is a good sign for his availability. The source would probably play him but acknowledges the risk that a hard fall on his shoulder could cause him to be lost again.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveRole26:43

Dalton Kincaid has been awesome and looks like the Bills' number one receiver even with DJ Moore on the field. He's always been excellent per route and is now running more routes while healthy. The source notes he was a first-round pick (Pick 25) who struggled with a knee injury last year, playing only 38% of snaps, but is now a full-time player. The source describes him as their all-season fire pick that looks good.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveMatchup44:00

Source likes Schultz in this matchup against the Colts defense, citing it as a really good matchup to target. Schultz is highlighted alongside Montgomery as the primary offensive weapons for Houston.

Insight page

Dalvin Cook

PositiveProjection24:08

The source recommends playing Dalvin Cook against Buffalo's defense, which has been very bad through two weeks and is allowing explosive plays.

Insight page

Darren Waller

PositiveProjection22:13

Waller is positioned as a strong touchdown opportunity bet among tight ends; snap counts are very low right now but expected to rise as the season progresses. He is always involved around the red zone, which is the key need from the middling tight end pool. The source expects him to get more and more involved as the season goes on.

Insight page
PositiveProjection30:42

The source prefers Waller in a start/sit decision, citing a much better chance at a touchdown.

Insight page
PositiveProjection42:45

Source prefers Waller as a start over Sadiq and would still go Waller for DFS play, indicating Waller is the preferred tight end option in this matchup.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveMatchup44:00

Source likes Montgomery in this matchup against the Colts defense, citing it as a really good matchup to target. Montgomery is highlighted as the primary offensive weapon for Houston alongside Dalton Schultz.

Insight page

Demond Claiborne

PositiveRole9:49

The source prefers DeMond Claiborne over DJ Dallas as a lineup option, citing his explosive upside, great speed, and fit within the system as reasons to start him despite lower snap share expectations.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveUsage31:08

Derrick Henry is one of only five running backs that are top 12 in each of the first two weeks, indicating consistent elite production.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

PositiveProjection31:01

Deshaun Watson went 24 for 30 last week with 238 yards and 2 touchdowns, demonstrating strong recent production.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeProjection3:09

The source cites Drake London as a player whose fantasy value was effectively eliminated by poor quarterback play, specifically referencing Cooper Rush's impact on the Falcons offense; this illustrates how quarterback quality can delete a team's offensive production.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveRole104:23

Emmanuel Wilson is expected to continue the opportunity he started last week against Washington. Through the first three quarters of Week 2, the workload was split relatively evenly with Jadarian Price (Price had three more carries in first half, four to three in third quarter), but Wilson took over in the fourth quarter after Price was injured.

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

PositiveProjection51:25

The source suggests Emmett Johnson, a rookie running back behind Kenneth Walker, could be a sneaky play in Week 3 against Miami due to game script; the source believes Johnson might get 10+ carries in the fourth quarter alone if the game gets out of hand, similar to how Manuel Wilson performed last week.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveUsage8:39

Fannin has a 17% target share through two weeks, which the source deems not good enough to warrant starting him over alternatives like Waller in the same game.

Insight page
PositiveUsage30:48

Harold Fannin Jr. is at 17% target share through two weeks, which the source characterizes as not good enough for fantasy purposes.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeInjury7:15

Limited participant in Wednesday practice; practiced more than Jonah Coleman, who did not participate.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeInjury104:35

Jadarian Price is banged up heading into Week 3. In Week 2, he had a relatively even workload with Emmanuel Wilson through three quarters (three more carries in first half, four to three in third quarter), but was hurt and knocked out of the game in the fourth quarter, after which Seattle went full salto with Wilson.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

PositiveUsage21:03

Ferguson had two touchdowns last week and is used more between the 20s than Waller, with more snaps on the field. While Waller may have slightly higher odds of a touchdown, Ferguson's greater snap count and field usage make him the preferred start over Waller.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection12:52

The source selects Jared Goff as a start of the week against the New York Jets at home in a dome; he posted 327 yards and four touchdowns last week and has averaged 21 fantasy points per game at home since 2022, with the Lions holding the fifth-highest implied point total.

Insight page

Jared Wayne

NegativeProjection45:00

Source questions whether Wayne will be the guy and expresses uncertainty about where the ball will go in Houston's offense, indicating lack of confidence in starting him.

Insight page

Jaxon Smith-Njigba

PositiveMatchup104:04

JSN is described as an obvious start against Washington, which is implied for only 16.8 points (lowest of any team this week) and was very bad against the running back position last year.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeInjury103:05

Jaden Daniels suffered an injury in Week 3 with no update provided as of Thursday, creating uncertainty about his availability. The source expresses surprise at the lack of clarity, contrasting it with how quickly the Jackson Dart situation was resolved.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

NegativeInjury7:07

Did not participate in Wednesday practice; J.K. Dobbins and R.J. Harvey were limited participants, meaning Coleman practiced less than both. The source notes this is concerning for fantasy managers who made Coleman a top waiver pickup.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveUsage31:08

Jonathan Taylor is one of only five running backs that are top 12 in each of the first two weeks, indicating consistent elite production.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

NegativeInjury31:31

Jonathan Brooks has gone to IR, eliminating him from fantasy consideration and making Chuba Hubbard the lead back for the Panthers.

Insight page

Jonnu Smith

NegativeRole40:10

Injuries to other tight ends will force Smith onto the field almost every play; however, the source questions whether McDaniel and Kovie actually want him as part of the plan, noting he's not a complete tight end in any way and is an athletic freak who can catch but lacks the full skill set that has sometimes resulted in other players getting snaps ahead of him.

Insight page

Jordan Love

PositiveProjection108:28

Jordan Love is expected to have a strong performance tonight (Thursday night game), with the source predicting he will throw for 400 yards and rush eight times. Love has been responsible for two consecutive weeks on the Wheel of Shame, and the source guarantees he will beat both of those projections tonight.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveProjection24:08

The source recommends playing Josh Allen against Buffalo's defense, which has been very bad through two weeks. CJ Stroud destroyed them, and the Bills offense has been so good it's been irrelevant—they're blowing out opponents. The source notes that while Allen's first two games have been otherworldly, the Bills are playing good football under Joe Brady.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveProjection44:03

Source likes Josh Downs a lot in this game and started him for the week.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection32:12

The source does not recommend starting Justin Herbert this week, preferring Bryce Young instead. The source notes Herbert scored 7.9 fantasy points against the Raiders and questions why to go through the pain of trying Herbert again when Young has had two prolific weeks. The source emphasizes there's no guarantee Herbert is better than Young.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeInjury47:04

Keenan Allen likely to remain on team rest of season because of injuries, not performance. He had two drops hitting him in the chest in recent games, which is uncharacteristic. Facing potential three-game suspension that will likely be pushed to after court proceedings, which are expected after the season ends.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection16:15

The source recommends playing Kenneth Walker in Week 3 against Miami, citing the Chiefs as a heavy favorite with a 28.5-point implied total, the second-highest of the week.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

NegativeInjury26:23

Keon Coleman didn't practice on Wednesday, which is unfortunate. The source notes that after looking confident as a receiver in one game, he didn't practice, so the source is keeping an eye on him as maybe just a speculative add rather than a nasty play this week. There's also concern that his injury might swell up after the game.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

NegativeProjection26:12

Khalil Shakir is described as risky at best for Week 3 play against Buffalo.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveProjection0:34

The source argues that Kirk Cousins would be the best quarterback for the Falcons and would not delete the team's offensive production like poor QB play has; the hosts discuss how Cousins, while not elite, provides stability that prevents offensive collapse, contrasting him with the Falcons' current QB situation.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection3:09

The source cites Kyle Pitts as a player whose fantasy value was effectively eliminated by poor quarterback play, specifically referencing Cooper Rush's impact on the Falcons offense; this illustrates how quarterback quality can delete a team's offensive production.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveMatchup24:00

Ladd McConkey is a start in Week 3 against Buffalo Bills, whose defense has been very bad. CJ Stroud destroyed the Bills defense, and while Buffalo's offense has been so good it's been irrelevant to their record, the defense remains vulnerable for fantasy purposes.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeInjury52:29

Nabors is not a guaranteed start due to a shoulder injury that popped out of the socket last week, after which he was barely targeted; combined with poor weather (68% chance of rain, high winds) and wind concerns with his shoulder, the source expresses low confidence in starting him despite the difficulty of benching him.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveUsage48:29

Malik Washington should get the most targets in the Dolphins offense this week, positioning him as the primary receiving option.

Insight page
PositiveUsage49:19

Malik Washington should get the most targets in Miami's passing offense this week.

Insight page

Malik Willis

NegativeRole48:36

The source criticizes Malik Willis's usage, noting Kirk Cousins has more rushing attempts than Willis on the year; the source argues Willis was brought in to unlock the offense through his running ability, but he is being used as a pocket passer instead, which defeats the purpose of his signing.

Insight page

Marcus Mariota

PositiveProjection105:42

Marcus Mariota should be rostered in 12-man leagues and will have good fantasy output as the season goes on. When he gets opportunities to start, he often produces well; he started eight games last year and averaged 11 fantasy points, with big games in certain matchups (23.3 against Denver). However, the source is not playing him against Seattle this week; he'll likely be a stream candidate in Week 4 against Indianapolis.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

NegativeProjection0:00

The source expresses skepticism about Pennix's ability to fix the Falcons' offensive struggles in Week 3, noting that while he was medically cleared over a week ago, both he and Tua Tagovailoa should be significantly better than what the Falcons have shown in the first two weeks; however, the hosts remain uncertain about his actual performance impact.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury9:11

Mike Evans did not practice on Wednesday; the source does not worry about Wednesday absences for Evans and will monitor Thursday and Friday practice reports instead, suggesting a cautious but not alarming injury status.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveProjection1:59

The source recommends playing Patrick Mahomes in Week 3 against Miami, citing the Chiefs as a heavy favorite with a 28.5-point implied total, the second-highest of the week.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeInjury5:28

Did not practice on Wednesday. Sean McVay stated on radio that Nakua is 'not making great progress' with his injury. McVay ruled out torn ACL and hernia, but the source speculates it could be a groin injury that could sideline him for multiple weeks.

Insight page
NegativeInjury6:23

Puka Nakua has a groin injury (not a hernia, per his statement), which could require multiple weeks to heal; he will not play this week and timeline for return is uncertain. The source expresses concern given his injury history throughout his career.

Insight page
NegativeRole21:00

If Puka Nacua is unavailable, Terrence Ferguson would serve as a secondary start of the week option at tight end.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeInjury7:15

Limited participant in Wednesday practice; practiced more than Jonah Coleman, who did not participate.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeMatchup105:01

Stefan Diggs has found the end zone frequently so far this year, but the source prefers not to play him against Seattle with a backup quarterback starting for Washington. The source wants to avoid all Washington players in this matchup, citing the Seahawks' strong defense and Washington's implied total of only 16.8 points (lowest of any team this week).

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveProjection42:45

Source groups Ferguson with Waller as preferred tight end starts over Sadiq, indicating Ferguson is a viable starting option.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveMatchup54:11

Pollard should be playable despite ankle injury concerns (did not practice) because the Giants are unable to stop running backs and Pollard should see a bunch of carries in this matchup; the source believes he should be okay despite the injury uncertainty.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeInjury8:39

Travis Etienne Jr. got no work and is limited on Wednesday with a hamstring injury; if he is downgraded or does not play, the source views Kendra Miller as the better option over Alvin Kamara for receiving work.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveProjection50:05

The source recommends playing Travis Kelce in Week 3 against Miami, citing the Chiefs as a heavy favorite with a 28.5-point implied total, the second-highest of the week.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveRole21:00

Tucker Kraft played 98% of snaps in Week 2, a huge jump from prior usage. With Jaden Reed out, Kraft should dominate the middle of the field as a full-time player. Atlanta is 29th in schedule-adjusted points allowed to tight ends and has already faced Muth and Darren Waller.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup21:00

Tucker Kraft is a start of the week against Atlanta Falcons in Week 3. The Falcons are 29th in schedule-adjusted points allowed to tight ends and have already faced Muth and Darren Waller.

Insight page
PositiveProjection108:28

Tucker Kraft is expected to perform well in tonight's Thursday night game, with the source referencing 'Tucker 2x4' and suggesting he will score points.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveValue45:21

Buy low opportunity now with Alec Pierce out for extended period; Warren should benefit from consolidation of targets. Despite modest 30-something yards through early weeks, he's paired those with touchdowns. College and last-year tape showed him as a yards-after-catch machine (led all pass catchers in YAC through first three weeks of 2024 season), but this year he's averaging 3.8 yards per catch versus 10.8 last year—a significant decline that makes current valuation attractive for rest-of-season upside.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury7:03

Zay Flowers did not practice on Wednesday and remains uncertain for the Baltimore-Dallas game in Brazil; the source notes concern about re-injury risk given the international playing surface conditions, particularly if the field conditions are poor for grip (similar to past international games).

Insight page
NegativeInjury107:49

Zay Flowers was not seen participating on Thursday, raising concerns about his availability for the international game.

0:00Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
0:05Welcome in! It's football time! Yes it is. Week 3.
0:08Kind of. No, it's real. It's absolutely real. I refuse to believe that the first two weeks of the Falcons are prescriptive for the rest of the season.
0:17I don't think Pua, which in this version of Pua is Michael Pennix tonight, I don't believe he's fixing everything.
0:24As of right now, Jason. It's just a moving target right now for the Falcons of this entire offseason where they brought Tua in on purpose.
0:32Yeah. To replace the guy we're happy is starting tonight.
0:35That's the moving target I'm talking about. And when that happened, let's say right before preseason started, it was like we had
0:42watched enough Pennix to be like, yeah, Tua is not good, but he's significantly better than Pennix.
0:48Then Tua played preseason and was like, oh gosh.
0:51He's significantly worse than Pennix. And now, but still, both should be significantly better than what we've seen in the first two weeks.
0:58And then remember, Michael Pennix was medically cleared like over a week ago.
1:02He was just like, I'm not ready. You're ramping up, man.
1:06I find it... This is football time. It's going to be a fun game.
1:10We have one. So we got Packers, we got Falcons.
1:14I will just say this. I don't know if you guys...
1:17There might be a lot of points. Yeah. It's very possible.
1:21I don't know if you have thoughts on this.
1:23I am just always amazed at... It's like the opposite of...
1:27What is the phrase about perfection and good? Like the enemy of...
1:31The enemy of... Good is the enemy of great.
1:34Good is the enemy... Yeah. I just... Kirk Cousins would be the best quarterback of the Falcons.
1:39Yes. Right? For sure. Kirk Cousins would be the best quarterback for the Vikings.
1:44Uh... TBD. Probably. Probably. I mean, probably. Yeah, probably.
1:47You go back... Like, Ryan Fitzpatrick... Yeah. Was the best quarterback for probably half the team.
1:52Baker Mayfield was the best quarterback for the Browns.
1:55Yeah. Right? Like, we do this over and over and over again where...
1:59You move on. You get bored. You get... You want to aspire to Mahomes or Brady and you will never...
2:05I mean, that is a microscopic chance as a team.
2:08And... But isn't it worth taking... But isn't it worth taking...
2:12Flacco would be the best quarterback for half the teams in the league a few years ago.
2:17Yeah. But he's a backup. But isn't it... Like, wouldn't you say it's worth taking the shot at hitting that greatness, even
2:24though it's a low-odds shot, just because you know that with Kirk Cousins or with that older version of Flacco or...
2:31You know, you're not winning a Super Bowl. So...
2:34I don't know if that's true because Flacco's won a Super Bowl.
2:38That's why I said the older version of Flacco.
2:41But I think the older version of Carson Palmer took the Cardinals to 14-3.
2:45The older version of Kurt Warner took them to a Super Bowl.
2:49I just think it's funny where, you know, it's 11 on 11.
2:53There's a lot of other pieces on these teams.
2:56And sometimes... Like, we don't often say when the good quarterbacks there, we're not like, man, it's that one linebacker.
3:02They're that one linebacker away from winning. But if you have a bad quarterback, we end them on this show.
3:09It ends everybody. Yeah. The Cooper Rush ended Drake London and Kyle Pitts.
3:13Yeah. It's just funny how... Well, I guess he did.
3:16Yeah, that's... Yes, that's the point. We saw it happen.
3:19Yeah, you can do that. You can delete a team.
3:23But Kirk Cousins won't delete a team. Yeah. Right.
3:25No, it's... Yeah. It's just... It was a money...
3:28It's a good philosophical money problem with Kirk Cousins.
3:31We've watched it for so long, but we've got a Thursday night football game.
3:36We've got starts of the week today. We've got news to talk about.
3:40Oh, yeah. I just like when football's on. It sounded like electricity going through your body right there.
3:46Yeah, it's football. Which we had... We actually had some of that rain stuff in Arizona this morning.
3:51We had a boatload. We really did. There was a moment.
3:55And there was lightning and thunder. We had like three or four brownouts this morning.
4:00Is that from like the... Aren't there tropical storms going on right now?
4:04Hurricanes on the Pacific? There's a nor'easter or something.
4:07Something. I don't know. We don't really know. Yeah.
4:10Us desert folk don't know nothing about that. No, we're desert men, but...
4:14We're doctors, not meteorologists. We're just... You know? We know metal.
4:17Oh, yeah, I do. And we know butterfly stretches.
4:20And law. But anyways, let's just get into the news.
4:24News and notes from around the league. Well, why not?
4:27Jonah Coleman didn't practice. Oh, come on. Probably the number one waiver pickup for about half of the leagues out there, and he didn't practice.
4:35And J.K. Dobbins and R.J. Harvey were limited, so they literally practiced more than Coleman.
4:40The news was all over the place, man. It was...
4:43I saw so many... Jonah Coleman's not going to practice.
4:46Oh, we saw him. He was... He was practicing.
4:49You're like, no, he definitely was not practicing. It's like, this is...
4:53Get it together. We could do it with our eyes.
4:56I know. Well, that's what they're allegedly doing. Is he in a disguise?
5:00Was this... He had a little grouch on marks?
5:03I don't think Coleman can hide. So you can't hide that body shape.
5:07Official injury report on the Wednesday practice. Jonah Coleman did not participate.
5:11R.J. Harvey and J.K. Dobbins were limited participants. I have a dynasty league that I am so...
5:17Golly. ...injured and empty on running backs where Tyler Bidet started to look good.
5:21I mean... Ooh! These three guys are not healthy.
5:24Speaking of not healthy, this is of great concern for a number of reasons.
5:28I want to get your thoughts. Puka Nakua did not practice on Wednesday.
5:33Sean McVay went on a radio show, if you watched it.
5:36I mean, he was very candid. He's just like...
5:39He was. Yeah, he's not making great progress. You got to do the McVay voice.
5:44I don't know. I was trying to. No, I liked it.
5:47I liked it. It's a little bit higher, though.
5:50Yeah, that's true. I mean, he's not making great progress.
5:53He's not making great progress. Yeah, and if you have to...
5:57Anyways... Yeah. Look, if you have to come out and say what injury they don't have, it says something to me.
6:04Okay? But it's also... It is good news. He doesn't have a torn ACL, guys.
6:09It is good news, though. And they said it's not the hernia.
6:12He came out and said it's not a hernia.
6:15He was very definitive it's not a hernia. It's not the hernia.
6:19Now... But he's not making great progress. And like, we have...
6:23Is there a difference between sports hernia and him ending up with an abdominal surgery?
6:27I don't know. I... Yeah, I don't know, guys.
6:30I mean, my point is, let's say it's a groin injury.
6:34Since he said it's not a hernia injury. If it's a groin injury, that could take multiple weeks.
6:40You cannot make progress right now. It would be totally fun.
6:43Miss a game, miss two games, miss three games, and then you're back and you're puka sensational.
6:49The hernia was the big fear. And it's... For him to come right out and say it's not a hernia.
6:55Yeah, which means I guess people other than me were questioning that.
6:59He said once you get to a certain point, he's going to allow it to heal.
7:04And I think you'll be pretty good moving forward.
7:07Look, there are players in which an injury concerns me more than other players.
7:11And puka, the fact that he's dealt with some things on and off in his career, it does concern me.
7:18I don't think you're going to see Puka Nakua on the football field this week.
7:23And I don't know how quick you'll see him back out there, but Zay Flowers didn't practice on Wednesday.
7:29That's unfortunate you wanted to see him back in the swing of things.
7:33Preferred they are... Do we have an update yet today for Thursday?
7:37No, I don't think so. I've not seen, but a reminder, the Baltimore-Dallas game is in...
7:42It's an international one. It's in Brazil. Yeah, I mean, Mike, you made the point.
7:47Which it's not on the same field, I believe.
7:50Okay. Okay. We can double-check that. Are all fields in Brazil the same?
7:54I don't know. Okay. I don't know. I don't know how they're...
7:58Your point being that if they were going... They don't want to take a risk, potentially, with Flowers re-injuring himself...
8:04Correct. ...if they don't feel comfortable with the playing surface.
8:07Correct. Which, if it's anything like when we saw...
8:10What was it? Packers-Eagles? And it was Packers, for sure, because it was Jaden Reed just destroying the world because no defender
8:17could get any sort of grip off of the ground, which is...
8:21If it's like that, you don't want to do with a hammy playing.
8:25Brock Bowers limited on Wednesday. Could be back this week.
8:28Are you just right back into the lineup if Bowers is out there?
8:33When he starts, I will definitely be starting him.
8:36I am still skeptical, even though he's practicing limited this week.
8:39We'll see if he's actually active. Travis H. Shane Jr., despite getting no work, limited on Wednesday with a hamstring.
8:46You could see Alvin Kamara a lot on Sunday.
8:48Oh, man. Mike Evans did not practice on Wednesday.
8:51Honestly, if for some reason Etienne was downgraded, if he didn't play, I feel like Kendra Miller is the better option to go with.
8:59It might be. I think you could get some one-yard passes to Kamara.
9:03Mike Evans, I said, didn't practice. They're going to take it easy with him.
9:08I don't worry about Wednesdays with Evans. I worry about Thursday, Friday.
9:12Aaron Jones did not practice on Wednesday. Okay, sure.
9:14Why not? That one is troubling. I mean, I thought about...
9:18I had a waiver claim in this morning to pick up the Montclairborne.
9:22I ended up withdrawing it. I don't think the team trusts him.
9:26I think DJ Dallas will get more work. Yes.
9:29I think it will be annoying, and we still don't know if Jones will be out.
9:34But, of course, we lost Jordan Mason. Yeah, if Aaron Jones is out, it will be between those two guys.
9:40I agree. I think DJ Dallas is the more trusted player, will play more snaps.
9:45I think if I had to throw one of them in a lineup...
9:49Come on! Come on! I would actually put DeMond Claiborne in over DJ Dallas simply because I think...
9:55Then you wouldn't be starting DJ Dallas. I see what you're going with.
9:59Yeah, you just have more explosive upside. This is a player who's got some great speed, fits the system well in Claiborne.
10:06And I'm, you know... No, I get it. I get it.
10:10I might or might not be starting him in CHOP.
10:13Okay. Oh. Well, I started Jordan Mason week one.
10:16Oh, no. Aaron Jones. Jonah Coleman week two. Oh, okay.
10:19And now I'm just... My RB2 in that league for a couple more weeks.
10:24Sounds like we're safe this week, Mike. That's what that sounds like.
10:28I love to hear it. I think I'm like top three score so far.
10:32Oh, okay. Well, Josh has already declared that he would be the one who was CHOP.
10:37Well, you declared that week one and you're still around.
10:40Wow. It was pretty amazing to have Drake made A.J.
10:44Brown week one. In a CHOP league, there are a lot of teams right now.
10:48Yeah. And so we had somebody saved. A lot can go wrong.
10:52We had somebody 100% dead last week. And then Jackson Dart happened.
10:56Jackson Dart, yeah. So you can survive. Let's talk starts.
10:59Starts of the week. Brought to you by Apple Card.
11:03All right. My starts of the week always... I mean, we all do our rankings individually each week.
11:08Some guys just show up better than the other ones.
11:12And we want to give you some confidence plays and endorsements on players this week.
11:16And my quarterback... It's Brock Purdy! Yeah. For a second consecutive week.
11:20Taking on Arizona. He's good. He's really good. He's just executing to a perfect level right now.
11:26And that's not to say he's not good. He's very, very good.
11:30But he also... He kind of... He's the surgical kind of quarterback.
11:33He's not going out there and doing... You know, it's not 450 yards.
11:38It's... I am going to slice and dice you up with perfect efficiency.
11:42Always has the touchdown upside. Leads quarterbacks in EPA per play.
11:45Eight and a half point home favorites. This is going to be...
11:49It's going to be bad for Arizona. Do you see that he was on like a podcast or something talking about how
11:56quarterbacks basically 40% of the time they can't see where they're throwing?
12:00Oh, yeah. I did see that. Yeah. You're like...
12:03Dude, that's... It's in... For him, it's 60-70%. Right.
12:06Because he's essentially saying like this is processing and you're like you just have to know what's going to happen.
12:12Processing over arm strength. Knowing where to put the ball.
12:15No, it's funny because we said coming into the year, Brock Purdy is the one quarter...
12:21Literally, the only one quarterback where you assume 7 plus percent...
12:24Yes. Which is ridiculous. ...of his passes for touchdowns.
12:27That's usually the outlier year and then you regress.
12:30And I was like, what does he have right now?
12:33He's at 8.9% so far on the season. Yeah.
12:36So he does have room to regress. Yeah. And still be awesome.
12:40Back to his normal 7%. No Stribbling. No Demarcus Robinson.
12:43No Christian Kirk. No problem. And who knows? Maybe no Mike Evans.
12:47I don't care. If Arizona, I'm taking him. I'm going to go with Jared Goff.
12:52Jared Goff! Jared Goff! Against the New York Jets.
12:55He is at home. Last week, obviously, went off 300...
12:58There you're introducing. He went off... Jared! No! 327 and four last week.
13:02He is at home in a dome. The Dominator has averaged 21 fantasy points per game at home since 2022.
13:08And they've got the fifth highest implied point total this week.
13:12Tyler Shuck! Get out of the way, Jason. Stealing my stream of the week.
13:16The king of the Shuck Daddies is here. His number one supporter.
13:20We're playing him this week. You gotta be so happy I let him go and let you take it.
13:26Oh, brother. It feels so good. Having... Oh, man.
13:29With the combo of Dak and Tyler Shuck. That's my platoon right now.
13:33I'm feeling pretty good about my quarterback. I'm feeling pretty bad about letting him go.
13:38Feeling good about that. He is the first player in NFL history with 3,000 passing yards and a 67% completion rate through his first 13 career games.
13:47He's old. He was seasoned. He was ready to play.
13:50He's in the perfect system with Kellen Moore. You're essentially getting an extra five or more drop backs.
13:56It's like an extra drive per game because of how fast they play.
14:00I mean, you're looking at these players. We got Drake May at Jacksonville.
14:04Herbert at Buffalo. Stafford at Denver. However... Yeah, I...
14:07Look... I'm rolling out Tyler Shuck. It's a big week.
14:10We've talked about it all week long. I think the offensive line, maybe no A-Chan.
14:15I cannot wait to see if he can... Yeah.
14:18I think it's a big week for him. I'm going with the player that had a down week.
14:24These are the kind of starts you need sometimes.
14:27David Montgomery is going to be my start of the week at the running back position.
14:32It should work. Eight total opportunities last week. Less than five fancy points.
14:36Still out-snapped Woody Marks, who... Woody Marks was pretty good efficiency-wise again.
14:40But the Colts... Boy, you want to start players against the Colts right now.
14:4430th in EPA per rush attempt. 31st in yards per carry allowed.
14:48I think it's that kind of week. I think...
14:51Honestly, I think C.J. Stroud's kind of okay this week.
14:54I really think he'll throw for a ton of yards.
14:58But I'm going to go Monty at running back.
15:00Yeah, wait until we get to my tight end.
15:03For now, I'll talk about Cameron Scadaboo. Oh, going Cameron.
15:07I'm going... Yeah, well, he wants to be called Cameron, not Cam, according to Cameron.
15:11But, yeah. So, through two weeks, he's seen 16 and 18 opportunities.
15:15He is the Giants' lead back. Now that you've got Jackson Dart gone, I think they're going to have to rely on
15:22him even more at home against Tennessee. I think the Giants are going to run, play defense.
15:28He should be a very solid RB2 this week for fantasy.
15:31Yeah, there are going to be matchups for the Giants where not having Jackson Dart scares me about the run game.
15:38This is not one of them. Yeah, this is a good matchup.
15:42And I think Jameis is going to check down to a little bit more to Cameron than we've seen the first two weeks.
15:49I'm going with a running back two on his own team.
15:53I'm going Blake Corum against the Denver Broncos. I like him this week.
15:57I think he's very playable through two weeks on a per-touch basis.
16:01He's looking awesome. Six yards per carry on 22 attempts.
16:04Only Ken Bone, the absolute man, is higher than Blake Corum in that.
16:08Speaking of Ken Bone, this is... The man, the bone, the legend.
16:12The man, the bone, the legend. I love it.
16:15This is the matchup where Kenneth Walker showed us maybe the Denver Broncos are not so good at tackling.
16:21Through two weeks, dead last in EPA per rush.
16:24Dead last in yards after contact per attempt allowed.
16:2729th in fantasy points allowed to running backs. He might be the backup, but I think Blake Corum is very playable this week.
16:34I keep expecting to finally see that Blake Corum outscores Kyron Williams on a week because of how well he's playing.
16:41That won't happen. And it just doesn't ever happen.
16:44They were, like, identical rushing the football this past week.
16:47I'm going Deebo Samuel when it comes to... Oh, that's a man.
16:51Yeah. He's the last man standing. I was going to say it.
16:55I was. Deebo against Arizona, the stack with Brock Purdy.
16:58He's 50% out wide, 5% in the backfield, 45% in the slot.
17:02He's going to be a part of the game plan.
17:05What I love about Shanann is he goes into these games and he says, look, this is how we win.
17:11He's running out of options to choose from on the this is how we win.
17:16You can't overload Kittle right now recovering. It's a Deebo game.
17:20And, Mike, I know you got him and you're going to play.
17:24I'm pretty happy about it. I am going at wide receiver with Lad McConkie.
17:28Injured Lad. If you watched the practice reports last week, he barely practiced.
17:32And then in the game, he was more of a decoy.
17:36He was out there a little bit but played less than half the snaps.
17:40Wasn't a good game. Already this week, full participant in practice on Wednesday.
17:45I think that the matchup is good. They desperately need him.
17:48I expect a billion points in that Buffalo game.
17:51I couldn't imagine having him on the bench if he goes off in an environment where he should.
17:57The Bills' offense has been great, but their defense, they've been winning.
18:01So you're not worried about the defense as much.
18:03But they're 31st in points per drive allowed. 28th in pass success rate allowed.
18:0830th in fantasy points allowed to wide receiver. Specifically losing a lot to the slot wide receiver.
18:13So this is just a perfect matchup. I know he's a little banged up.
18:18But based on the practice reports, I think he's going to have a very fine fantasy week three.
18:24I'm going Josh Downs. I love it. Against the Houston Texans last week, Downs was awesome.
18:29Nine targets, seven for 72. Alec Pierce is now officially out of the picture.
18:33And all the analysis of, is Josh Downs going to be out there?
18:37The answer is yes. He is a full-time player.
18:40He is their number one wide receiver now. Andy's trying to trade for Alec Pierce from me right now.
18:46I gave you a 24-hour period to accept my trade.
18:50You didn't apply. You mean Josh Downs or Alec Pierce?
18:53What? You said Alec Pierce. Did you mean Josh Downs?
18:56Oh, I meant Josh Downs, yes. Yes, Josh Downs.
18:59Okay. Speaking of that, 30th in first read target share.
19:0230%, I should say. 29% of the team's receiving yards so far.
19:06And maybe it's just a Buffalo Cincinnati thing. Houston is bleeding points to the wide receiver position.
19:12And coincidentally, this is a matchup that Josh Downs has actually been pretty good in five career games versus Houston.
19:18Downs is averaging over 10 fantasy points per game against that defense.
19:22And if you want to be just mesmerized by a stat, my tight end start of the week is Travis Kelsey, who,
19:29quote, leads all pass catchers in the NFL in yards after the catch.
19:33Oh, yeah. Yeah, there was a couple big runs.
19:36They are 11 and a half point road favorites.
19:39He leads the team in targets per route run.
19:42And if it was just some hidden stats and not the eyeballs, I would not be bringing it up.
19:48But if you go and you watch the game.
19:51Looks good. I think he's lost some weight. I think he looks in better shape than last year.
19:56And it's Miami boys. I mean, if he doesn't score in this game, I'll be shocked.
20:02I think it was a friend of the show, Matt Harmon, had tweeted about, he's like, Travis Kelsey got in wedding shape and then just stayed in shape.
20:11He's like, I see you, Travis. There you go.
20:13Hey, if we like a narrative, I don't hate it.
20:17But what about all the pictures when he shows up to camp and he looked like.
20:22He was just bloated. Yeah. It's very. I'm going to go with the doctor.
20:26Oh, the doctor. Dr. Schultz. We said last week that he was going to get a bajillion targets for probably 30 yards,
20:33but he broke a few Travis Kelsey-esque long, empty field runs.
20:37He was 12 for 140 against Cincinnati last week.
20:4012 on 14 targets. Did you hear him going down the field?
20:44Oh, you upgraded him. I did. I gave him credit for running, for being the tight end two on the week.
20:50That's it. There it is. The Colts are certainly a team that you are targeting right now.
20:56I mean, that was who Travis Kelsey just obliterated on Sunday night.
21:00So if Kelsey could do it, the doctor can do it.
21:03Okay. Also, Terrence Ferguson on waivers. Yes, yes, yes.
21:06If Puka is gone, it would be like a secondary start of the week.
21:11Oh, that'd be very good. That was starts of the week by you.
21:15Hey. Mike gets one. My tight end start of the week.
21:18Oh, I'm so sorry. Get out of here. You're going to like this one.
21:23They reminded me about the CTA, and then I was like, let's just do it now.
21:28I was over here waving my hands at you, but you didn't see me there.
21:33Well, you know what? Maybe just... Sorry. I'm going with Tucker, second and fourth, Kraft, four.
21:38Tonight? Yeah, tonight against the Atlanta Falcons. Second and four?
21:41What is second and four? What is that? That's what your trade was.
21:45A second and a fourth? Yeah. You think it's worth it?
21:49It will be in the end. I just... That's what I'm calling him right now, the ramp up.
21:55He played 98% of the snaps. Yes, they have some offensive line issues.
21:59That was a huge jump. But Tucker, Kraft is back to being a full-time player.
22:04With Jaden Reed out, Tucker, Kraft should absolutely dominate the middle of the field.
22:08And Atlanta is currently 29th in schedule adjusted points to the tight end position.
22:13And they've played the Muth and Darren Waller. Yeah, that's great.
22:16I will say, when I saw this in there, I really liked the two-four in there.
22:21But I thought you wrote it wrong. I thought you were calling him Tucker two-by-four.
22:26And I was like, oh, yeah. Oh, wait a minute.
22:29Oh, he's just going to smack guys. Hold on.
22:32Tucker two-by-four? The two-by-four? Yeah. In the face. Hold on.
22:35Tucker two-by-four? Tucker two-by-four. That's your trade. I don't hate it.
22:39I don't really mind it. The two-by-four? He brings a two-by-four to your face.
22:43You're getting out of the way. It takes a two-by-four to get him in a trade, too.
22:49That was Starts of the Week, officially. Officially Starts of the Week.
22:53Yeah, yeah, yeah. Brought to you by the Apple Card.
22:56Apply in the Wallet app on your iPhone today.
22:59Subject to credit approval. Apple Card issued by Goldman Sachs Bank USA, Salt Lake City Branch.
23:04Terms and more at applecard.com. Tucker two-by-four. All right.
23:07We'll take a break. I'm in. And we'll get in.
23:10It does. Put it on the board. It rolls off the tongue.
23:14Let's take a break, and we'll get into the forecast.
23:17All right. It's Week 3. Fantasy Forecast, presented by PrizePix.
23:20If there were two teams that couldn't be in more opposite sentiment situations, right?
23:25The vibes around the Los Angeles Chargers who are 0-2 traveling to the brand new Highmark Stadium.
23:30The Buffalo Bills are 2-0. The Vegas line is Buffalo minus 7.
23:34The over-under is 50 and a half. Nearly every part of my being is tempted here.
23:39Oh, yeah. Because this is the National Football League.
23:42There wasn't a soul who thought that the Ravens would lose last week to, well, there were a few.
23:48But it was a big line, right? It was 8 and a half points.
23:53You had the Browns come back with a win last week against Tampa.
23:57I don't think anybody expected that. But I just, I would not be shocked if you got one of those weeks where
24:04the rubber met the road and the Chargers made it close.
24:07But I'm not going to do it because it's just the extremes are too extreme right now.
24:13DJ Moore, we could get him back this week.
24:16We'll see. It's the second highest over-under of the week.
24:19So, for fantasy purposes, independent of the outcome, very exciting game.
24:23Yeah, I mean, I made Ladd a start because the Buffalo Bills defense has been very, very bad.
24:28CJ Stroud destroyed them. And their offense has been so good, it's been irrelevant.
24:33I mean, they're blowing guys out. And I agree partially with your sentiment that I think the Chargers are going to figure stuff out.
24:41I think they're going to get better. And I believe getting Ladd back is crucial to this offense.
24:46When Ladd has been out there, you know, the very beginning, the first half against the Cardinals, their offense looked significantly better with Ladd out there.
24:55I also think their offense might be more explosive with Gadsden being forced in instead of Njoku.
25:00And, you know, they were playing this slow, tight end heavy, you know, scheme.
25:05And I think that it could be good. I still believe that right now Buffalo is just cooking so...
25:11They are on fire. And that second game at home, at Highmark, I don't see the Chargers stopping.
25:17You got any more heat-related analogies? Cooking, they're on fire.
25:20What else you got? Blazing? I think they're magma, man.
25:23Magma. Yeah, this is... They're playing good football. And here's the thing about Buffalo that I don't think people...
25:29Like, if you say, okay, Josh, yeah, on those two games, it's all, you know, that's otherworldly, you're not going to get that all year.
25:37You want to know, this is Joe Brady. McDermott was the coach for all those years.
25:42Correct. When McDermott was the head coach, I always had confidence that this defense would progress over the course of the season because that's what he did.
25:51That's what made him good. It didn't matter if they lost personnel, they figured out the defensive side.
25:57You could say, oh, we just want to run the ball and play defense.
26:01Through two weeks, Joe Brady looks like he's got the offense on lock and the defense looks suspect.
26:07Sure, that's fair. But play Allen, play Cook. If DJ Moore is active, do you play him?
26:12He was limited on Wednesday. That's a good sign.
26:15Yeah, I'd probably play him but understand the risk of, I mean, a hard fall on that shoulder and you could lose DJ Moore again.
26:23Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, risky at best. Yeah, Coleman didn't practice on Wednesday, which is unfortunate.
26:28Of course he didn't. Yes. Of course, you make it one game you look confident as a receiver and you don't practice.
26:35So I'm at least keeping an eye on him, maybe just a speculative ad, not so much of a nasty play this week.
26:43We did mention that that might swell up after the game because he went back out there and then Dalton Kincaid, yes, please.
26:50Yeah, Dalton Kincaid has just been awesome. He looks like their number one receiver, even with DJ Moore out there.
26:57It's just he's always been excellent per route. Now he's actually running more routes.
27:01Yeah, now healthy. Doesn't it feel like they got two new receivers?
27:05Yeah, it really does. Dalton Kincaid has not been a thing yet.
27:09No, I mean, he was struggling with that knee injury all last year, played, I want to say, 38% of snaps, and
27:16now they have a full-time second-round draft pick player who has been really good.
27:20Was he a first-round pick? Dalton was the first, yeah.
27:24Oh, man. I mean, we loved him. We spent years believing that this was the year he was going to get it together.
27:31Pick 25. Yeah, so our all-season fire pick looks good.
27:34Hampton. Hampton is a great matchup for him. Hampton's a great play.
27:38Gadsden, if you're desperate. Man. I think Gadsden is an okay start.
27:42I mean, he hasn't done much on the season.
27:45He had a touchdown last week, but only two targets in the game.
27:49But it's the fact that the injuries are going to force him to be on the field.
27:54Yeah. I hate the part of that it's had to be forced, where it's like, does McDaniel and Kovie, do they like Gadsden?
28:02Do they really want him as part of the plan?
28:05I just think he's not a complete tight end in any way, shape, and form.
28:10He's an athletic freak who can go catch the football.
28:13It's a little bit like, you know, we've seen what likely he can do in the passing game, right?
28:19Now with the Giants and Sly. But it was always, you know, Mark Andrews and Smythe and other guys getting snaps ahead
28:26of him sometimes because the incomplete nature of it.
28:29But Gadsden right now, I mean, these guys are on IR.
28:33Right. So it's over for them. It's Gadsden almost every play.
28:36Yeah. And Kewge has reverted back to a pumpkin.
28:39Yeah. Yeah. Carolina one-on-one. Cleveland one-on-one. In Cleveland. Carolina minus two and a half over under 42 and a half.
28:45Wow. Good for you, Carolina. And Cleveland's one-on-one too, Mike.
28:49I just mean like Carolina is on the road and favored.
28:52Yeah. Yeah. I mean, we talked about Bryce Young on the Unsolved Mysteries episode yesterday.
28:57Whether, you know, Mike and I were kind of very much on the side that we believe it's a level up.
29:04We believe that the math of Carolina right now.
29:07You should take some chances that it could be for real.
29:10Well, yeah. And Carolina's, you know, they've got weapons.
29:13Tett McMillan and Jalen Coker is a viable twosome each and every week.
29:17And then you bring Darren Waller into the equation.
29:20Their prize picks projections are... Are they the same?
29:23Yeah, they're the same. Both at 59 and a half receiving yards.
29:27That's a lot. Yeah. Both of those guys are plays, right?
29:30Darren Waller, Jason. Would you rather start... Let me put it this way.
29:35Waller seems like as good of a bet as a touchdown opportunity as any tight end right now.
29:40For sure. Because he's enormous. And I think that the snap counts are going to rise for him.
29:46They're very low right now. Would you play him or...
29:49I guess you'd play Schultz. I would play Schultz.
29:52And I would play Ferguson. Then it would be Waller.
29:55Then it would be Gadsden. Would you play Waller or the other Ferguson?
30:00Jake Ferguson, who had two touchdowns last week. I still...
30:03Oh, man. I think I would go... I would go Ferguson over Waller because he's out on the field more.
30:09He's used between the 20s more. And they both can catch touchdowns.
30:13I still would put the odds of a touchdown higher with Waller than Ferguson.
30:18But it's not a big enough gap to take the fewer snaps.
30:21But I think Waller is a great player to roster.
30:25As the season goes on, I expect him to get more and more involved.
30:29But the great thing is that he is always involved around the red zone.
30:34And so that's all you really need from the middling tight end pool is a touchdown.
30:39Waller or Fannin? Oh, in the... Same game. Oh, woof.
30:42I think... Cut that, cut that. I think I'd go Waller.
30:46I think a much better chance at a touchdown.
30:48That hurts, though. That hurts big time. Yeah. I mean, Harold Fannin's at 17% target share through two weeks.
30:55It's not... It's not... It's not the end of the world.
30:58It's not good enough. No, it's not good enough.
31:01And I... You know, Watson was 24 for 30 last week.
31:04238 and 2. Bryce Young, six touchdowns through two games.
31:08And there are only five running backs that are top 12 in each of the first two weeks.
31:13Ken Bone, Gibbs, Henry, John and Taylor. Oh, wait.
31:16And Chuba. Yeah. Chuba is the other one. And John and Brooks just went to IR.
31:22And A.J. Dillon is not good. And they didn't sign Austin Eckler.
31:25So, in this week, in particular, Chuba is a must start.
31:29For sure, yeah. And who would have thought you'd much rather draft him than Judkins?
31:34Much rather. I know you weren't in on Judkins.
31:37I wasn't in on Chuba either. But you wouldn't have been in on Chuba.
31:41No, I was not. I thought Brooks would be more of an impact.
31:45But this is all Chuba. And if this team is...
31:48If they're for real, then Chuba is going to be awesome.
31:52I think the biggest question in this game is actually Bryce Young.
31:56Because we've talked about picking him up, taking shots on him.
31:59Is it real or not? This matchup is one where, so far through two weeks this season, it looks like not a terrible matchup.
32:07Last year, obviously, you didn't necessarily want to play against the Browns.
32:11But Miles Garrett is gone. I don't think this is a bad defense.
32:15So, this is a perfect matchup to me where it's like...
32:19I think it's a pretty bad defense. Push has come to shove.
32:23And you've got to make your call right now as to whether or not you believe in Bryce Young.
32:29I still feel skeptical. I would start him this week.
32:32Justin Herbert or Bryce Young. Bryce Young, easy. Oh, that's an easy Herbert for me.
32:37Yeah, I'm going to start Bryce Young. I'm not going to go back to this well where it's like...
32:43There's no way that that's a guarantee that Herbert's better.
32:46And why not take the guy that's had two prolific weeks?
32:49Like, I give zero credit to the Cleveland defense last week relative to the...
32:54I mean, the Tampa Bay offense is abysmal. Yes.
32:57And they still, you know... They're 22nd in terms of fancy points given up to quarterback through two weeks.
33:03I'm taking Bryce. That could be a water bet.
33:06Oh, Jason wants to make... Jason just literally... Yeah.
33:09Oh, we're doing money. Water bet. I think the water in this one is money because he just made me a $100 bet about Bryce Young versus Herbert.
33:18I just think that'll be a fun thing to watch for in this week.
33:22And I think both are good starts this week.
33:25The matchups aren't too bad. But let's go with others.
33:28You don't have to start Herbert. You got no reason.
33:32You don't have to do it. It's just the matchup to me.
33:35I think that there's going to be a gazillion points for Buffalo.
33:39Was the Cardinal and Raider matchups pretty good for Herbert?
33:42Well... Were those decent? I mean, the Cardinals, while they won, it wasn't an environment where you were going to keep passing the ball a lot.
33:51I do think in this one... They scored 7.9 fantasy points against the Raiders.
33:55So let me give you some... I'm not saying you're going to be wrong.
34:00I'm just saying the evidence right now is like, hey, why go through the pain of trying it again?
34:06Right now, we've got Bryce Young as our consensus quarterback 15.
34:09Is he going Herbro? Is he going Herbro right now?
34:13Jason? Yeah. What are you talking about? Jason has been...
34:16I am always going to be a Herbro. Jason has interlocked arm and arm up the street for the Herbros.
34:22But I also think... Still? That's why I'm smiling.
34:25It's fun. It is fun. There's two things here.
34:28My primary belief here is more anti-Buffalo Bills defense.
34:31That... I am targeting the Buffalo Bills defense the way that, you know, in years past we were targeting...
34:37You know, when you're playing against the Bengals. When you're playing against the Cowboys, you want pieces in that game.
34:43That's how I feel. But also, I really do believe the lack of lad has been the biggest problem for Herbert.
34:50But let's talk about other players. Would you start Bryce Young or Tyler Shuck?
34:55I think those are neck and neck this week.
34:58They're close. I lean Tyler Shuck in that one.
35:00I like Bryce. But it's... What about Drake May at Jacksonville?
35:04Bryce. I'm making the switch. I'm putting Bryce above.
35:07And what about last one? Matthew Stafford been on fire, but at Denver.
35:11Bryce. I'm okay with going Bryce there. I think we need to adjust our rankings.
35:16Yep. Because Bryce should be down at 15. Yeah, I'm looking.
35:19I just moved him up. I... Moved him up.
35:22Oh, and he's sitting one spot ahead of Justin Herbert.
35:25Okay, there it is. Yeah, look, I guess I have the confidence in Bryce Young right now.
35:31He's feeling it. You know, like, Shuck's been good.
35:34Mm-hmm. But, like, Bryce has done the three touchdown thing two weeks in a row.
35:39Yeah, I don't feel, like, extremely confident saying Shuck over.
35:42Over Bryce. Yeah. Yeah, but way to walk us through it, Jay, because I needed to tweak the rankings a little bit there.
35:49Ted McMillan and Coker, yes. Waller, we talked about it.
35:52The other side, you know, I don't feel good about any of it, really.
35:57I think Boston is the one that you could probably play because you're going to get the targets.
36:03You're going to get some high-value targets. But I'm not messing around with the rest of those guys.
36:08The, if Quinshawn Judkins is bad in this matchup, you've got to put him on a boat.
36:14You give it a shove. You light your arrow and you fire.
36:18Judkins should be okay. This is a. But I'm saying, if he's bad in this matchup, I don't know when you're going to have hope to actually play.
36:27Judkins is like a start of the week candidate because you don't want to start him, but you can't bench him against the Panthers.
36:35There were two players in my start of the week finalists.
36:38I don't know if you saw that, Judkins. No, I didn't.
36:42It was David Montgomery and Quinchon Judkins. Yeah. And I didn't choose Judkins on purpose.
36:46I don't blame you. You're holding your breath. I mean, but those are the type of players where people are going to really, really want to bench.
36:55And it should work. Carolina's dead last in giving up yards per carry, rushing touchdowns allowed, and EPA per rush.
37:01If you look at the last. This is the time, Judkins.
37:05You better show up. That's so far this year.
37:08Also, they sucked last year. And the year prior, they were one of the worst of all time against the run.
37:15This. Run funnel, baby. Come on. New York Jets 1-1.
37:18Detroit Lions 1-1. Vegas line is Detroit minus 6.5 over under 46.
37:227.5. Under a touchdown, huh? Yeah. I mean, this is the game to me that is going to tell me a heck
37:29of a lot about the Detroit Lions long-term situation.
37:32Because I think this should be the game that they destroy.
37:35Yes. It should be. At home against the Jets.
37:38The Aaron Glenn revenge game. Whatever. They should massacre the Jets in this game.
37:43And if they don't, it will tell me that they don't quite have the defensive personnel and the vibes right now with
37:50the blobfish to get this thing going at home against the Jets.
37:53But the nice thing is for fantasy players, the over has hit in each of the last six Detroit games.
38:00It's a 47.5 already. That's cool. Yeah. We'll take that.
38:03Start of the week, Jason. Jared Goff. I love Goff at home.
38:07I mean, you're going to love all the Lions pretty much every week.
38:11I don't know. There's one to talk about. Yeah.
38:14I'm still throwing Jameson Williams out there. Okay. I mean, Jameson Williams is the type of player when you drafted him, you knew you were getting volatility.
38:23You knew you were going to have some games where you had an absolute dud of a matchup.
38:28But you keep him in. First of all, you were drafting him as your wide receiver three.
38:34You were drafting him as a flex. This isn't a guy you were drafting in the third round.
38:40He is out there to go nuclear and win you matchups.
38:43And that is worth taking some of the duds along the way.
38:47Because as opposed to finding someone off the waivers who's getting eight targets every game and who's going to get out there
38:54and give you seven fantasy points or eight fantasy points or nine fantasy points regularly, that's not going to help you win matchups.
39:02You put Jameson Williams in. So you'd start him over like a popular free agent pickup this week, Adonai Mitchell, who is
39:09currently ahead of Garrett Wilson in target share. Yeah.
39:11Speaking of targets, what if I told you my boy Isaac Tesla had one more target than J-Mo Williams last week?
39:18I'm not worried about that. If at the end of the season he has more targets than Jameson Williams, I will eat my shorts.
39:26Yeah. I mean, the J-Mo played 97% of snaps.
39:29I'm mostly with you on everything you said. You know what's funny about this game?
39:34I was looking at someone put together the pace of play of matchups.
39:38I think it was Jared Smola. I apologize if I'm getting that wrong.
39:42And it was like based on both teams in the game.
39:46You look at the pace of both teams. You go, okay, what's the pace of the game environment?
39:51And I saw this matchup and they were like bottom five and I was like, what?
39:56Oh. The Lions? How is that possible? The Lions are top five in the league in pace of play.
40:03And that's how slow the Jets are playing right now.
40:06That when you combine them, they're like one of the slowest games.
40:10It's outrageous. Yeah. Very tortoise-y. The Geno Smith-Ludd Jets have yet to commit a turnover this year.
40:15But Geno will be under fire. You know, the Aiden Hutchinson, Lions' highest pressure rate in the NFL.
40:21It'll be put to the test. Brees Hall? Yeah, you play him.
40:25You play Garrett Wilson. And I think you play Adonai Mitchell this week.
40:29I'm okay with it. I would play him over Boston in the previous game.
40:33So I like him more than Denzel Boston. You should put Kenyon Sadiq on your bench.
40:38There was a start-sit question that Brooks put in here.
40:42I'm sorry. I'm going to say it out loud.
40:45Would you start Adonai Mitchell in this game or Adonai Mitchell in this game?
40:49Oh, man. I'd go with A.D. Mitchell. It was Kyle.
40:52Oh, Kyle. Brooks would never. Yeah. Kyle, do you feel comfortable with me letting the people know what you're going through right now?
41:00Oh, that is probably related. Sure. Oh, that didn't sound like a man who actually.
41:04Well, because you're like, hey, I'm going to do this thing.
41:08You cool? That's a fair point. He might not have the cognition, though, to reply.
41:13Kyle was hit in the head with a baseball this week.
41:16He was being a good dad pitcher for his league.
41:20Good dad, bad baseball player. I believe he said that he was a kid that was way too old.
41:26Yeah, his kids are all like they're in a 10-year-old league.
41:29And then some 13-year-old came up there. And now I'm picturing him as like, this kid's gigantic.
41:35Oh, for sure. He dropped off the keys after he got out of his truck, walked up here.
41:40And he took a line drive. He just fired a piss missile right into your head?
41:46He did. We're going to go. Brady would love that term there.
41:49Jason would, too. But he literally hit a line drive off of Kyle.
41:54And I was like, well, were you behind a pitching screen?
41:57And he said, yes. It was too fast. Wow.
42:00So Kyle's been actually dealing with, I would say, a trauma no dad thought they'd deal with.
42:05Not in the 10-year-old baseball league. It was unbelievable.
42:08Heal up, Kyle. So in other words, yeah, I would take Adonai Mitchell versus Adonai Mitchell in this one.
42:14Seems like he's going to be out this week.
42:17Kenyu Sadiq, first round pick, very athletic player. We didn't particularly love him and his production profile.
42:23But draft capital and opportunity here says that Sadiq is someone to pay attention to.
42:28And athletic profile. We talk about it. Yes. When you look at athletic profiles, it doesn't matter that much at most positions.
42:35But tight end, that is like almost always required to be good at fantasy.
42:39And he is off the charts. Perfect matchup for him with Miausen out.
42:43So yeah, I mean, it's not one that, like all those other names we were talking about earlier, the Darren Waller, the Terrence Ferguson.
42:51I'm going to start those guys over Sadiq. I want Sadiq on my bench.
42:56But a DFS play? Some kind of surprising, you know, if you can find, you know, I don't know what prize picks
43:03line is on him, but that might be. I'd probably still go Waller.
43:07I'm just bringing them up of like, if you're.
43:10Could be a breakout game. If you're wading through the mucky muck of the tight end position, this is like, this is
43:17the situation where, okay, first round pick shows up because the starter is out and then the, and that first runner has a great game.
43:25It's like, it's done. He'll just take the job.
43:28Yeah. Yeah. That, um, it's Jason's point, by the way.
43:31So you have golf in this one as your start of the week.
43:35So Sadiq right now looks like 25 and a half receiving yards on.
43:39That's a prize picks projection. Okay. Um, Houston. Oh, and two taking on the own to Indianapolis Colts.
43:45The Vegas line is Houston minus two and a half.
43:48The overrunner is 42 and a half. Okay. Here we go.
43:52I, you know, that the Houston. Which part is the cackle is just that they're both going to.
43:58I mean, the spread. Where are we, where are we going?
44:01The spread. And the fact that like, you know, I still look at Houston's defense as a top tier defense, but we,
44:08we have yet to get that kind of prolific performance so far.
44:12The Colts had a heck of a battle against the chiefs made it a game.
44:17They've fallen short. The last couple of weeks. I just don't, I don't know how complicated the start sit decisions are, but I don't think Nico's not practicing.
44:26And so I don't think you're going to have him.
44:29And so outside of the doctor in Montgomery, is that the whole offense?
44:33Is it consolidated for Houston? Uh, yeah. For fantasy, it's pretty, it's pretty gross.
44:38Cause it's like Hutchinson is, it's he'll get targets.
44:41He's just, it's not him. So I don't know.
44:43I don't, I mean, Jalen Noel, if you're wanting to get disgusting.
44:47Yeah. I mean, it's, it's a really good matchup, um, you know, against the Colts D you want to target.
44:54This is why we like David Montgomery and Dalton Schultz.
44:57I do think someone else will, you know, we'll have a good game.
45:01It's just one of those things where I mentioned Noel.
45:04Can you, yeah. Is Jared Wayne going to be the guy, you know, you just don't know.
45:10Where the ball's going to go. All right, pilgrim.
45:13It's me. Uh, yeah. I don't, I don't know that you can confidently start booty Hutchinson, Noel Wayne.
45:18So start the doctor. Who's booty Hutchinson? Booty Hutchinson.
45:21If they put them. Is that one? If I got both of their scores, I would absolutely start them in this game.
45:28Sounds like that's who Jared Wayne would fight in the wild west.
45:32Oh, booty Hutchinson. Oh. Oh yeah. Oh, booty. This town's not big enough.
45:36Uh, we're doing a lot of impressions today. We really are.
45:40By the way, I like the Josh. And really good ones.
45:43Really good. Uh, Josh down started the week for Mike.
45:47I like him a lot in this game, but I will say this.
45:51If you want to buy low opportunity, the moment is now on Tyler Warren.
45:55Alec Pierce is going to miss an extended period of time.
45:59Um, I think that, I think that Tyler Warren is going to be a beneficiary of the consolidation of targets.
46:05We haven't had the yardage there. We've had the touchdowns.
46:08Otherwise he'd be, I mean, you would be talking about Tyler Warren right now in the same breath as Loveland and everybody in pits.
46:16It's the only saving grace is that the 30 something yards he's got comes with a touchdown right now.
46:22Yeah. It's so weird. He is a yak machine.
46:25That was what he was in college. That was what he was last year.
46:30I mean, he led all pass catchers in yards after catch through the first, uh, three weeks of the NFL season last year.
46:37Now all of a sudden three point eight per catch last year is 10.8.
46:42Yeah. I mean, it's like he's by low. He is not, he really doesn't look like the same monster out there, but
46:49I mean that, you know, you have a couple down weeks.
46:52I agree with you. This is a very good buy low opportunity.
46:56Uh, he should have a better rest of season.
46:59And, uh, is Keenan Allen going to be on this team the rest of the season?
47:04Probably because of injuries, but not because of play.
47:07I mean, he, it was weird, man. I, two drops hitting him in the chest.
47:12Keenan like that is just not normal. And the, his, they're still talking about his suspension.
47:17I believe that that is pushed. It's yeah. It got pushed.
47:20I miss the last. I think it might happen this season.
47:24Yeah. Unless you saw something like in the last day, they've been talking about it.
47:29I mean my, what my information was probably four days ago where it was like, basically he's going to get a three
47:36game suspension, but it'll probably play out after the, Oh, they think it'll be after, after the court proceedings, which will probably be after the season.
47:44So, okay. I got you. Yeah. Well he, you know, when you're close to retirement, that's a real sneaky technique.
47:51Yeah. It's like, Oh, why don't we just push this off?
47:54Let's say just to the end of this season.
47:57I'll totally accept that. Whatever you decide. Give me a 20 game suspension after the season.
48:02That's right. Kansas city two and O taking on the O and two Miami dolphins, Kansas city minus 10 and a half
48:09on the road over under 46 and a half.
48:12That's that's cute. Yeah. It should be more only giving them 10 and a half.
48:17Come on. The chiefs are 28 and three whenever they're double digit favorites, but they have failed to cover the spread in 55% of those things.
48:25I mean, the chiefs look amazing and the dolphins look terrible.
48:29So, uh, there you go. And you take the one player, the only player in the passing offense that kind of looked
48:36like he had some sort of rapport with Malik Willis, Caleb Douglas, and you throw them on to, you know, the practice report with ankle injury.
48:44I doubt Caleb Douglas plays this week. I'm not sure that outside of HN, you can play a dolphin.
48:50No, I don't, I don't think you can. I mean, we're excited for the prospect, the future of Chris bell as a good wide receiver and a rookie.
48:59This isn't the game for him. Malik Washington should get the most targets.
49:03If you're in a two point per reception league, you know, point per target league, dolphin only league.
49:09Um, you know, you, you, you can throw him out there, but I think you're right.
49:14It's basically Devon HN and check out. And the fact that they are not using Malik Willis's brother is bring it up.
49:21I believe Kirk cousins has more rushing attempts than Malik will.
49:25And heart. It's brought it to our attention or to my attention.
49:29I'll say Kirk cousins with more rushing attempts than Malik will us on the year as of right now.
49:35And that is what you have a superpower that you're doing.
49:38What are you doing? No, it's dumb. I mean, it, it was part of the argument from Malik Willis was like, you unlock everything.
49:46Why would you bring him in and pay him that money and not say, dude, you need to run like this.
49:53You change the offense. If, if you're just going to be a pocket passer.
49:57Yeah. Then a bunch of rookies and nobody's. Then what are, what are we even doing here?
50:03We're going for that number one pick. Uh, I will say play Mahomes, Walker rice and Kelsey on the chief side.
50:10Week one, six rushing attempts for 39 yards last week was bad, but I don't think that's the norm.
50:16Malik will run. I believe he will run, but it's like, how can that even possibly happen?
50:21That just can't happen. Especially when you're having no success moving the football.
50:25Right. And you know, the night, the nice thing I will say about a chant is that when they are the worst, he's still fine.
50:33You know, uh, last week was 20 for 74 on the ground, three catches for 19 yards.
50:39Hasn't gotten in the end zone yet. That was a big concern.
50:43He won't very many times this year. Uh, it, it does seem like that will be a challenge for this team until
50:50they find some sort of momentum on offense. But yeah, Walker Mahomes rice only targeted on 11% of routes, but look that
50:57this is a heavy favorite situation with a 28 and a half point implied point total.
51:02It's the second highest of the year. If you don't play rice here, why would you play him ever?
51:08Sure. Yeah. I mean, this is, this also could be a game though, where not only is Kenneth Walker awesome, but I
51:15think you could start Emmett the same way that, um, Mike, you're saying you can start Blake Corum.
51:21Now we know Blake Corum is going to get more work than Emmett.
51:25Uh, Emmett Johnson, their rookie who's looked great behind Kenneth Walker, but I believe the fourth quarter of this game.
51:31Emmett might game script the whole entire fourth quarter.
51:34That's what I mean. He might get 10 carries just in the fourth.
51:38And if, if you give him enough carries against this Dolphins offense, he's like a manual Wilson last week.
51:45Exactly. Yeah. I'm with you. Sneaky. Tennessee. Oh, and two taking on the one-on-one New York giants.
51:50This is the lowest over under the week. Giants minus three at home.
51:5438 and a half is the over under. Ooh.
51:57Is that good? Dude. Where's that toilet sound effect?
52:00That is flush this game. We can get there.
52:03I feel like I'll leave that to, uh, we'll leave that to Al.
52:07That's all I have for you. Okay. Well, um, we'll play it.
52:11Would it be helpful to tell you that in a game in which, oh gosh, it's a long one.
52:17Oh man. Brace yourselves. This is reminding me of your Browns.
52:21Oh yeah. Of course. And Brown discussions. Yeah. Uh, okay.
52:24We got to stop the toilet. It's a real long flush.
52:27Um, 80, uh, 68% chance of rain, potentially high winds.
52:31Awesome. Oh, perfect. That's what this game building a game plan around Jameis Winston.
52:35We need to slow this thing down. I mean, Winston was 11 for 27 last week.
52:40You're pushing 30% completion. Yep. Cam Scadaboo is your start of the week.
52:44I mean, I don't feel a lot of confidence with Malik Nabors right now.
52:49No, I don't either. Um, this is especially with the wind with his shoulder.
52:53I think Malik Nabors is one of those players where he's not a guaranteed start.
52:58Um, the, the, the worry here is a lot of different things can go wrong, but with a shoulder injury that popped
53:05out of the socket last week and then he basically wasn't targeted.
53:09It's hard to imagine benching him, but I don't, I don't think that's the wrong move necessarily.
53:14I mean, I think you're. Would you go all the way down to the Denzel Boston Adonai?
53:20No, I don't think I could do that. I don't think.
53:23Would you go to Rashad Bateman if he's alone?
53:26Cause they flowers, by the way, not practicing again today.
53:30Would you play Bateman? No, I don't think so.
53:32Yeah. I wouldn't want to. I would rather trust that the game plan, like a lot of times a backup quarterback comes
53:40in flustered, didn't practice with the ones. Now you get a week of practice.
53:44Winston has the arm strength. The way the Rams were playing.
53:48I honestly think that Jackson darts line would have looked not much better.
53:52Yeah. I think, you know, if you've got other options like a Devante Adams or Ladd or Ted Arroa or.
53:58So really, really, if you have like really good.
54:01Well, like Jameson Williams. Jameson Williams hasn't been playing.
54:04I'd play Malik. Yeah. I would too. Okay. Yeah.
54:07Let's, uh, let's be quick though. On the other side, zero dot zero starters.
54:11What sucks is. I mean, two ankle injuries for Spears and Pollard.
54:15Pollard and Spears did not practice. Uh, I believe it was due to, they, they said ankle, but I also saw some,
54:22uh, the general was reporting for, for duty. Yes.
54:25General Soreness. Yes. We know him well. Because. The older I get.
54:29The. Pollard should be playable in this matchup. The giants.
54:32Like they're, they're not able to stop running backs and Tony Pollard should see a bunch of carries.
54:38It. It's disgusting. I understand. And if you're looking at that actual start, sit decision, you're like, I can't live with myself
54:45if I do this, but I think Pollard should be okay.
54:49Yeah. Carnal Tate is a, uh, bench right now.
54:51Yeah. Yeah. I mean, in a game with bad weather, low over under, I don't, I mean, he, he's got the talent
54:58to take anything to the house, but a lot of those other middling guys that you are far more confident that in
55:06the passing game in targets heading their direction. I think this is a bench week for Carnal Tate.
55:11You, you could feel more confident about that house call.
55:15If he could see a target that's 20 yards down the field, which he has yet to see this entire year, they're not taking shots.
55:23That's putting a lot more on. That's his superpower.
55:25Yeah. But they didn't want to do it. They said, no, you gotta let him fly.
55:31There is at least. They're, they're tating their time on this one.
55:34Swish. Okay, good. You got it in there, man.
55:37That was close. That was close to being a.
55:40I thought it was a misspeak at first. And then they're like, no, it was just a good old fashioned footballers pun.
55:47There. Yeah. I don't think I've ever switched before.
55:50That might be my first switch on the show.
55:53I think that. It felt it. It felt important to get that in there.
55:58They just need to throw the ball more. And I don't expect it to happen in this specific matchup.
56:04He's got 24% target share, which is like for a rookie through two weeks.
56:08You're going, okay, that's not bad. It's the biggest slice of a turd pie though with this.
56:14But yeah, it's a small turd pie. Yeah. He needs.
56:17Yeah. So they need to like, they need to bake a new pie.
56:21Dude. We got to take a break. It's really limited touches because it was seven carries a week one, 14 carries in week two.
56:29Tony Pollard is running for 4.7, man. You just, you are in love with Tony Pollard.
56:34If he's healthy, I guess Mike would start him over Judkins.
56:37We know this. I don't hate it. I mean, Judkins has got a great matchup.
56:42Which, which do you take? We got to take a break.
56:46Give me an answer. Judkins. Judkins. All right. Well, he just said Judkins.
56:50Yeah. Clip that. All right. We'll be back. We'll be back.
56:53I had to say Judkins or Pollard. You were going to say clip it no matter what I said.
57:00Yes, I was. Here we go. It's a trap.
57:02The 2-0. Somehow. The 2-0 Cincinnati Bengals. They travel to Pittsburgh to take on.
57:07Well, I say somehow because they don't ever start a season well.
57:11Oh, okay. I mean, it does seem like a fair comment.
57:14Yeah. They normally start falling on their faces slash injured.
57:17And it's because of their defense more than their offense through two weeks.
57:222-0 traveling to Pittsburgh who is 1-1. Vegas line Cincinnati minus 3.5.
57:26Over-under 40. Oh! Over-under is 42.5. And I really hate to do this, but I'm going to.
57:31I understand. Andy's almost upset of the week. I am not just almost upset that I did that.
57:37I am fully upset. Yeah. You're wrong, but I understand.
57:40Look, the Steelers offense has been so hard to watch.
57:43Yeah. We did get word that Jalen Warren is back at practice and Rico Dattle still not practicing.
57:49It could be the Warren only experience. Warren was limited.
57:52He's definitely still injured. Michael Pittman was limited, also injured.
57:55But so it's like they're they're kind of there and we're hoping they play.
58:00But what was Metcalf's? That designation. Bad. That he's just a full participant.
58:04He's limited with bad. He's limited with wet farts.
58:07Yeah. Metcalf sucks. This team offense sucks. But for some reason.
58:10So wait, you're calling for an upset, but who do you possibly play?
58:15It's TJ Watt. He's calling for the defense. The passing defense for the Pittsburgh Steelers has been very good.
58:21You know what I just remembered? I need to know that Jalen Ramsey is playing in this football game.
58:27Because I know he missed Wednesday practice. Do we have a Thursday practice report on Ramsey yet?
58:32Because I could I could play that. I could undo that.
58:36If Ramsey's active in this game, the over under is low.
58:39So he is protesting. Okay. This will be this will be an old fashioned AFC North battle.
58:45It's a low over under. I don't think that I haven't seen the Cincinnati offense that I've been like, like I saw,
58:52I saw Jamar Chase make the play of his life on a pretty much an alley-oop.
58:57Like, but I haven't seen amazing. There's been no point during the season where I'm like, man, they are running on every cylinder on the offensive side yet.
59:06It's been the defense. And I think the defense going to Pittsburgh, that'll be a challenge.
59:11And look, you play the players you're going to play in this one.
59:15Jamar Chase, Higgins, Burrow, Chase Brown, easy on the Cincinnati side.
59:19I just think it'll be a dogfight. And I wouldn't expect prolific numbers from them going up against the defense for the Steelers.
59:26That's just the Steelers right now through two weeks.
59:29It's two weeks. And one of them was Cooper Rush.
59:32But they're number one against quarterbacks, two against wideouts, and fifth against tight ends.
59:37They're going to put the pass rush on. The other one was Drake May.
59:41Yeah, but that, I mean, okay. Drake May was a number two quarterback last year, right?
59:46Drake May has been doo-doo since the wild card round.
59:50So the two games, oh, the rest of the playoffs in these two games.
59:54Yeah, I mean, like I said, it's two games, Mike.
59:57I disclaimed it. One of them is Drake May.
60:00But we know what the Steelers' DNA is on the defensive side of the football.
60:05And that part is what keeps them in game.
60:08So, I mean, you wouldn't say this is a plus matchup for the Bengals, would you?
60:13No, no, no, not at all. The Steelers, I mean, you might be forced into playing DK Metcalf.
60:19The targets are there. Maybe someday he will actually convert and something good will happen.
60:24Would you play him or Adonai Mitchell? Oh. I'd be willing to go back to the well with Metcalf this week, personally.
60:31And that is a— That's tough. I like the environment of that Detroit game so much more than this.
60:37That's true. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, I'll probably play Adonai Mitchell.
60:40Also, then I don't have to play DK Metcalf.
60:43But the— That would be one of the keys.
60:46I was going to bring up the mute of, look, Dr.
60:50Schultz against Cincinnati, 12 for 140. Cincinnati, you know, we mentioned Carolina against running backs.
60:55It's like just historical, long enough, it's a disaster.
60:57Cincinnati— We're like eight years running of just target Cincinnati with the tight end position.
61:02Pat Friermuth, yeah, I mean— It's a floor play, but it's—you could definitely do worse.
61:07Yeah, it's a touchdown play. You know, it's like Friermuth—who else can catch a touchdown there?
61:12DK can't. It feels that way. Warren, if he's all alone, yeah.
61:16Sure, take the volume. Take the volume. I— I'm Heidenreich.
61:19You're just saying the name of a player who you recently signed out loud?
61:24Yeah, I was sad to see Jalen Warren— Just throwing names out.
61:28Back at practice because Eli Heidenreich, their late-round rookie running back who, I mean, has an analytical profile in college that is outrageously good.
61:35A very jack-of-all-trades. I just want one week this year where—and I thought it might be coming right now— Where Warren and Rico are— Beautiful butterfly.
61:44Yes. Yes. I want him to turn into a beautiful butterfly.
61:47Eli Heimlich. Eli Heimlich. I'm a cute little bumblebee.
61:50It would be awesome to see him forced into the role where he gets all the opportunity.
61:56I would love to see it, too. He's a perfect fit for Aaron Rodgers checking down the way that Kenny Gainwell did last year.
62:03He's as good a receiver as he is a running back.
62:07You might see him this week. One more game to preview.
62:10Seattle 2-0 against the Washington Commanders who are 0-2 right now.
62:14Oh, my gosh. The lowest implied point total possible this week.
62:1716.8 points for the Commanders. They will not have Jaden Daniels.
62:21Have we gotten any updates? We've had no updates.
62:24And what's wild is—I don't know if you saw this.
62:27Kurt Warner came out and said he suffered the exact same injury in 07 and played the next week.
62:33He said, yeah. He's like, Jaden can play if he wants.
62:37I did. Look, I don't— It's a little bit different, though.
62:40I know we're doctors. It's not just an injury.
62:43It's a redo of the redo. But there's no redo there.
62:47The injury was—they did not repair the ligaments. They are torn already.
62:50The dislocation, I'm sure, causes a bunch of swelling and inflammation and pain.
62:55I bet it hurts. Yes, it hurts. But that might lean itself into the Kurt Warner side of things.
63:01All I know is he throws with one arm and the other arm is hurt.
63:05Generally, when that kind of thing happens, I think a quarterback, if they can catch the football on a snap, I'm shocked that they can't play.
63:14Now, I know that oversimplifies it. I'm not trying to imply that Jaden Daniels is not tough.
63:19I don't know. So I guess I'm implying it a little bit.
63:23But I don't know the details. Kurt's wife responding by saying, quote, yeah, Kurt, and your arm has been messed up since.
63:30That's fair. I mean, it's fair. But, you know, I guess I'm just surprised that we haven't gotten an update.
63:37The no update is very weird. It's Thursday. Yeah, I mean, we had that injury happened.
63:42We had Jackson Dart situation all figured out as of two days ago, basically.
63:46And here we are sitting with Jaden Daniels is like, well, what's going on?
63:51So, look, the point is, is this week the over-under is low, right?
63:55It's 40 and a half. But Seattle's got 24 points implied.
63:58So Seattle's going to be fine. Mike, your stream was either Darnold or Locke, whoever starts.
64:04Yep. I think JSN is obvious. But other than that, do you have a start on Seattle that you feel comfortable with?
64:11And is it Emmanuel Wilson at running back? No.
64:14I mean. I'd play him over Price. You'd play Emmanuel Wilson over Jaden Price?
64:18I think they're going to give Emmanuel Wilson the opportunity to continue what he started last week.
64:23Yeah, I mean, the matchup is, you know, last year the commanders were very bad against the running back position.
64:30I think this is a question you could do worse.
64:33But I think this game is going to be over quickly.
64:37And when I say that, I don't mean, like, the score is going to mean the game's out of reach.
64:43I mean, the game, I think, is going to disappear fast.
64:47Like, you know, sometimes you look up at all the afternoon games and you're like, oh, that game's over already.
64:53I just feel like this is going to be few plays in this game.
64:58It's not a game environment I'm excited to have players a part of.
65:02The commanders are only implied for 16.8 points. That is the lowest of any team this week.
65:07The Seahawks defense is so good. I think that, I mean, that speaks to saying that a running back for Seattle could be good for sure.
65:15And so, Jadarian Price is banged up. That's question number one.
65:19But for what happened last week, I mean, through the first three quarters, it was far closer.
65:24And it was like Jadarian Price in the first half had three more carries.
65:29In the third quarter, Jadarian Price four to three for Wilson.
65:33It was the fourth quarter where Price was hurt and knocked out of the game.
65:37And then they just, they full salted with Emmanuel Wilson.
65:41And Stefan Diggs has found his way into the end zone frequently so far this year.
65:46Yeah, he's on my roster. I would prefer, I'm, I prefer not to play Stefan Diggs with the backup quarterback against Seattle.
65:53I don't want to play any, anybody on Washington.
65:56I don't want to play Bill. I don't want to play Dick.
65:59That'd be Dick White. White. And I don't want to play K-Tron Allen.
66:04So I would be trying to find other options.
66:07Not many people are aware of that name. Dick White?
66:10Yeah. Where did that come from? I don't even know.
66:13I don't know, man. I don't even know. At this point.
66:16Nobody remembers? No. Doesn't matter. Richard. It came from Richard?
66:20Yeah. Instead of Rashad? Yeah, Richard. And then Dick is short for Richard.
66:24Yeah. So then he became Dick White. That can't be how it happened.
66:28That sounds like how it happened. Everybody's nodding over there.
66:31Yeah, because Betts accidentally typed in Richard. Oh, okay.
66:34Yeah, I mean, that sounds exactly how this show works.
66:37That does seem, the math now checks out. So anyway, Bill and Dick.
66:42I will say that usually when Marcus Mariota plays, he just ends up great for fantasy.
66:47He should be rostered. I mean, this matchup against Seattle.
66:50He should be rostered? I think so. I mean.
66:53In a 12-man league? Yeah, I think Marcus Mariota will have good fantasy output as the season goes on.
66:59He, when he gets the opportunities to start, he oftentimes, I mean.
67:03He started eight games last year and averaged 11 fantasy points.
67:06Yeah, but he has those big games in certain matchups.
67:09He had 23.3 against Denver. Well, what's the actual schedule?
67:13Because there's 0.0. I'm not playing him against Seattle.
67:16No, I'm not either. Coming up, Indy. Indianapolis the next week.
67:19Like, he'll probably be our stream of the week.
67:22Yeah, he'll be in week four. I don't think you need to roster him, but sure, pick him up.
67:28A couple injury updates. A.J. Brown, is that a new?
67:31I mean. It was. Looking at six to eight week recovery, I thought we had said that before.
67:37Yeah, maybe they're just confirming it, but it's being reported again.
67:41That's a long time. Yeah. It's a long, long time for a fantasy league.
67:45Zay Flowers not seen participating on Thursday. We talked about it earlier.
67:49He's not out there, and with the international game, I don't know.

68:24Make sure. Sponsored by Jordan Love. You know what?
68:27It is the Jordan Love sponsor, Wheel of Shame, because he is responsible.
68:31Two weeks in a row. Green Goblin, man. He better be.
68:35You've got to do something with him. Oh, he's going to be in my lineup.
68:39He has to. Rules are rules. He plays tonight, so he can't.
68:43Oh, no. Yes! I'm free! Yes. Yeah, you can't do that.
68:47But I guarantee you he will throw for 400 tonight, and he will rush like eight times.
68:52Oh, for sure. So he'll beat both of the ones that he got you on.
68:57Yeah, he won't, because Christian Watson is going to eat.
69:00You said Tucker 2x4? Is that who's going to eat tonight?
