3:18It's alive. It's no dated old dusty magazine. Um, but yeah, we got, we got some fun stuff coming this summer as
3:25well, but June 1st, the release, it'll be exciting.
3:28UDK day on Monday. Quick question of the day for the show comes in from Instagram comes from Bonnie McMurray, which is,
3:35um, kind of perfect for my answer to the question.
3:38But, uh, who do you think will have their draft stock rise the most by fantasy draft weekend?
3:44Like you're in on, uh, Bonnie? No, it's the other part.
3:47It's the Murray part. Kyler Murray is my answer.
3:50He is currently going in the late 13th round as the quarterback 21.
3:54You can believe whatever you want about Kyler Murray.
3:57Does he, you know, I I've seen things say he lost his love of the game in Arizona, which I would do.
4:04I've lost my love of the game in Arizona.
4:07Many, many do. I mean, I understand it. So, you know, we've had these resurgent seasons from Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, Geno Smith in the past, Kevin O'Connell.
4:16We like him. Look, Kyler's going to win the job.
4:20He, I, I think it's over. You want to know why?
4:23Because I watched a press conference this morning. The same question was asked to Kyler Murray and JJ McCarthy.
4:29And it was, you know, what, what's it like working with the other guy?
4:34Okay. You haven't seen this Mike? No, it's good stuff.
4:37Kyler's like a professional. His answer was amazing. It's, you know, it's weird.
4:41I'm a veteran, even though I'm only here seven years.
4:45I try to do whatever I can. He, he's absorbing all everything.
4:48And, you know, he's talked so glowingly. Great player.
4:51JJ is awesome. We're on the same, you know, we're competitive, but we're on the same team.
4:57We just want goals. Whoever's going to help us win.
5:00You know, we just want to win. And JJ gets up there like an incompetent, stupid child.
5:06And JJ goes, he says, yeah, it's, it's like being in school.
5:09And like, I sit on this side of the classroom and he sits on the other side and the coaches, they're responsible for like teaching us.
5:18The coach's job. Yeah. I mean, it was so brutally.
5:21Is there anything awkward? Well, no, it's like school.
5:24You know, he sits over there. I sit over here.
5:27So like, yeah, not really. It was like high school.
5:31I mean, it was like, I mean, you're not a French.
5:34The leader of a multi-billion dollar franchise usually knows how to like have the politically correct answer.
5:40I agree. If you're the leader, you have to say certain things.
5:43And yet, so when Kyler's saying that. Oh, he's lying out.
5:47Yes. That's what I feel like. Oh, right through the teeth.
5:51But like a quarterback should like. Oh, I like player.
5:54I like the theater. Kyler Murray team player. I'm just saying he gave the team player answer.
5:59That's what I want to hear. I know quarterback.
6:02I don't want to look, but I've watched him on the field.
6:06Be not team player. J.J. McCarthy answered the question in the exact same spirit of the meme we got in the locker room.
6:14He was a petulant child. Petulant. Anyways, all that to say, I haven't watched Tyler will win the job.
6:20He's on his way to winning it already. He will win the job and he will not go as a quarterback.
6:2621. You can believe whether you know, he's going to.
6:30I think he'll support Justin Jefferson and Addison and the offense very well.
6:34I don't know if Kyler will be a top 10 quarterback, but the hype and excitement will grow.
6:40Yeah. And he will be a late round quarterback bet with high upside rushing upside and be one of the most popular stylish picks you can make.
6:48Yeah. I mean, there's no way when drafts come around once we know he is officially the quarterback that he's going to be the quarterback.
6:5721. He's basically undrafted right now. Most leagues aren't taking 21 quarterbacks unless you're in a super flex.
7:02He should be drafted. I know we've had debate already about how good is he for fantasy.
7:08I think he's going to be pretty good. He's a great core of wide receivers.
7:13They even added Juwan Jennings, which we don't usually talk about when we bring up Addison and Jefferson.
7:19So I think Kyler is a good. I mean, it doesn't cost you anything to take a bet on him.
7:25So he'll he'll come up in the rankings. The guy that I think JJ will not be gone.
7:31Yes. The guy that I think will rise lie to me quarterback in average draft position by the time the draft comes around is my man.
7:39Cam Scadaboo. OK, Scadaboo. I think there's two things here, right?
7:43One is the fear of the injury. The injury is real.
7:46This was brutal. You know, sometimes there are the on field visible injuries that stick with you.
7:52This was one of them. People saw it and people noticed it.
7:56People wanted to look away. It was gruesome. And so I think there's a lot of fear of coming back from that kind of an injury.
8:04And the other is because it was, you know, early in the season, it was like somewhere around week eight, mid season.
8:11It was a long time. We forget what he did.
8:14And I want to remind people what Cam Scadaboo did.
8:18If you take out the injured game, which is fair, he didn't play the whole game.
8:23You take out week one of his rookie season.
8:26He's like 10 or 12 percent of snaps, but it basically wasn't really involved yet.
8:31But the rest of the time he averaged 17.8 fantasy points per game and a half PPR.
8:36That's an outrageous number for context. That was more than James Cook last year.
8:41Yeah, more than Derrick Henry. That was just behind a champ.
8:44That was a ridiculous number. And I already feel like it's such a great pick because I can already feel it.
8:51I feel it in my bones. Well, all of our UDK, like when we statted the guys out and we did the
8:58research on the injury, we've got a whole injury report in the UDK.
9:02But when we statted him out, this was like we were all above where he's being drafted right now.
9:08Not aggressive. We don't have him as the running back seven.
9:12I do think there's still some things we need to learn.
9:16Absolutely. There are yellow flags here. He very well could get off to a slower start.
9:21Obviously, the team won't have Malik neighbors. Not that they had him last year.
9:25But, you know, we expect them to be better later in the season than early.
9:30But his timeline on his injury. Well, and the fact he feels no pain.
9:35Yeah. I mean, he is. He did try to.
9:38He tried to put his foot back in. Right.
9:41If you remember that part of the. Let me just put it.
9:44Can I get some tape over here? Some people like the mental makeup to literally not feel it.
9:50Yeah. And he's he doesn't feel anything. Oh, man.
9:53All right. I'm going. I'm going to call my shot here that people are going to figure something out because right now, ADP doesn't make sense to me.
10:02Going with Quinton Johnston. Huge of the Los Angeles Chargers where Lad McConkie is being drafted right now in about what?
10:09Let's see the the fourth round. Lad McConkie, a good player.
10:13Great player. And Quinton Johnston, meanwhile, is going in right around the 10th.
10:17I'm looking at sleepers, ADP last year. Lad McConkie missed a single game and he ended up with seven hundred eighty nine yards.
10:24Quinton Johnston missed three games and ended up with seven hundred thirty five yards and more touchdowns than Lad.
10:30Yeah, he had more production than Lad McConkie. People hate huge.
10:34He he is. He is. What do we got here, Kyle?
10:37We have only five wide receivers collected eight or more receiving touchdowns in each of the last two seasons.
10:44Jamar Amun-Ra, Tee Higgins, Devontae Adams and huge huge.
10:46I get it. The rookie year was awful. It was disgusting.
10:50And we we were done. We were sticking with them because it wasn't just like, oh, he's not giving us production.
10:57He's giving us drops. It was just it was an absolute clown show.
11:01He's gotten a lot better since then. Well, he's such a red zone weapon and he's a red zone weapon.
11:08And because of the additions at tight end that Los Angeles has made, they're going to be in twelve a lot.
11:14They will be in two wide receiver sets. We think we think Lad will be one of them.
11:20I know that Johnston will be one of them.
11:23I know he's going to be on the field.
11:26He will absolutely be on the outside and all two wide receiver sets.
11:30Keenan Allen's not going to hurt huge. He can hurt.
11:33He can hurt Lad McConkie. Like, well, the worst news that just came out, I saw a quote.
11:39I think I saw the same one. Well, it was talking about how there were three wide receivers who have clearly separated themselves for this team.
11:48They look amazing. They're awesome. They are. They've stepped up and they're there.
11:52They're coming to work. They're going to be the leaders.
11:55And it was huge and Lad. And it was Trey Harris.
11:59My boy, Trey Harris. Oh, right. Never wrong. Just early.
12:02And the thing is about that is, I mean, that's great news.
12:06I think those three will be the three and three wide receiver sets.
12:10But if you just look at going to two wide receiver sets where you don't have someone in the slot.
12:16You want the two wide receiver set to be, you know, you want Lad to be on the field.
12:23But he doesn't project the same way that like a Trey Harris archetype does.
12:27So if it ends up being Trey Harris and Kuge, that's going to hurt Lad.
12:32Kuge is so, I don't, I disagree with you, Mike.
12:35I do not think he rises in ADP. Now, I think he should.
12:39I think he's a phenomenal late round pick. Oh, no, that's an interesting point.
12:44Like people hate him. Yeah, I don't know what he would have to do in the preseason to garner excitement that moves him in ADP.
12:52Yeah. Here, I mean, maybe it'll be us. I think that.
12:56When you make him a my guy. I will not do that.
12:59I will stand up for Quentin Johnston. I will not.
13:03That's fine. You can call me yellow. I don't care.
13:06These colors run, brother. We run away from Quentin Johnston.
13:09So, guy, so minimum 14 games played. Quentin Johnston, points per game.
13:13He's right here at wide receiver 19. Tied with Ted Roa and McMillan.
13:17It's like, he. Whose offense would you want more?
13:20Right, the Chargers or the Chargers? You want Herbert and his upside or do you want Bryce Young?
13:26I'm not saying I'm drafting huge over Ted Roa and McMillan, but I'm saying.
13:30Yeah, where are you taking your my guy? Uh, maybe round eight.
13:34But it's just where I think it changes is over the off season.
13:39More and more stuff will start coming out of just about the way the offense is working.
13:44They're like, hey, there's a surprising amount of tight ends on the field.
13:48And you know who's always out there? It's Quentin Johnston.
13:51And the wide receiver too is sometimes it's Ladd, sometimes it's Trey Harris.
13:56I'm glad you're bringing this up. The one constant is the guy that no one wants to draft.
14:02I'm glad you're bringing this up now. Because if you, if we had the same diatribe in August, I think we move his ADP.
14:09Right now, the Sharps and the Foot Clan, they're listening.
14:12They're going to do the right thing. Just keep getting your values.
14:16Yes, exactly. Keep them low. Where he's going right now is a ridiculous spot around names that are, I mean, far more,
14:23far more unlikely to be on the field and far more unlikely to produce.
14:28It's a, it's wild. Yeah, it's very, it's very interesting.
14:31All right, let's jump into some news. News and notes from around the league.
14:36Well, we haven't had the privilege and honor and amazing ability to talk about what we love talking about, which is legal
14:43issues with players, not, you know, football. All right, first comments.
14:46Josh Jacobs arrested on domestic abuse charges in Wisconsin.
14:49We are, you know, these are always really, really difficult to talk about on the show because there is a true like
14:56human reaction to the incident of what occurred in our timelines get flooded with fantasy football implications for news that we don't know the outcome of.
15:05You know, I think right now we love leaning on and I'll give, I'll give a shout out to him.
15:11Drew draft drew Davenport FF on Twitter gives the best overviews of these legal situations with his legal background.
15:18We have had news break here and there. Some quotes that I want to share from, from drew.
15:23He said, he said, despite the seriousness of the allegations, I'm not automatically assuming the exempt list will be used for Jacobs
15:30or that he'll be suspended this year. He also said, however, the possibility of the exempt list is at least in his
15:38estimation, 20 to 30% higher with this type of charge than it was for Rashi's right.
15:43Rashi rises civil allegations of abuse. I will add yesterday Jacobs was released from jail and no charges have formally been fired, filed yet.
15:50He also said, quote, I have seen cases like this end up in felony convictions or complete dismissals.
15:56The entire spectrum is still in play. More evidence needs to come to mind.
16:01My advice on Twitter other than hashtag too soon for a lot of it is literally that it's just wait a second.
16:08You know, there's not really a lot to be gained by firing off a random guess in either direction here, in my opinion.
16:15Now you can do what you want to do.
16:18You want to go pick up Marshawn Lloyd because he's going to be the number one guy.
16:24Shoot your shot. Everyone knows what's going on with Jacobs.
16:27If you want to take a trade offer for Jacobs because you think he's not going to be suspended, go ahead.
16:34But he could be so, you know, I don't know if you guys want to add anything to it, but that's the situation going on right now.
16:43I think you laid it out pretty well. The range of outcomes is certainly a suspension this year to absolutely nothing.
16:49He could be cut. The the as well. He has no more guaranteed money.
16:54The current. Well, the thing is, is this is a Super Bowl contending team that I'm not have a depth chart behind him.
17:01Obviously, he could be cut financially. Yeah. Should things really come out that it was it was very bad.
17:07But as of this moment, the fact that quote unquote new evidence has been shared that's yet to come out, but it was shared from Josh Jacobs side.
17:17And then he was released. And then Jacobs attorneys released a statement on his release saying that they are very happy that
17:24this decision was made based on the new evidence.
17:27And they look forward to the decision of currently no charge.
17:30Correct. And so that's not to guarantee he doesn't have charges brought.
17:34But it does to me, lean me currently if we if we have to pick a side, which I think the best advice is just too early.
17:43Don't make any decisions. But if I have to currently lean aside, I don't think he misses any games this year.
17:50Yeah, it's I'm not willing to say anything in that regard yet.
17:53Yeah, I have no idea the the the the allegations like when they when they first came out are bad.
18:00I mean, it's yeah, it was two felonies for misdemeanor.
18:03Yeah, these are very serious allegations. So if something was done.
18:07He there'll be big trouble, but I do. We don't know.
18:10We don't know. And we're not privy to that evidence or not even close to it.
18:15So free agent running backs that are out there mix in Najee Harris, Austin Eckler, Antonio Gibson, Nick Chubb.
18:22No, it's no one. It's all the Arizona Cardinals.
18:24Trey Benson, James Connor. Yeah, Tyler Algier could be traded.
18:28Come get one. I mean, they will need to reinforce that room.
18:32Marshawn Lloyd has never been able to stay on the field.
18:35They lost Emmanuel Wilson, which look at Jacobs ends up in this situation where he's off this team.
18:41That will be one of their greatest regrets. Yes.
18:44If you're in a dynasty league, you know, Chris Brooks might be sitting out there and I would.
18:50He could very well be the actual starter over Marshawn Lloyd if he's healthy.
18:54And then when Marshawn Lloyd breaks, he will be the starter.
18:58That's the only like fantasy advice. I think that is actionable right now is if you're in dynasty and someone rage dropped
19:05Lloyd or Brooks happens to be out there. Those are the speculation ads.
19:09Wide receiver Nico Collins agreed to terms on an adjusted contract that guarantees his salary in 2026 and 2027.
19:15There's some money, Nico. There's so much better news.
19:18Yeah. I like this news. More money for Nico?
19:21Yeah. Positive players getting money, doing good things. All right.
19:24How about this one? Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said running back Bucky Irving is quote, coming along fine and is quote,
19:31expected back sometime in summer or fall. Now, to be fair, you added the inflection of, have you not seen that quote yet?
19:39I saw everything but the or fall part. Yeah.
19:42Yeah. Yeah. You know what they do in fall.
19:45That's the big part. You know what they do in fall guys?
19:49They play the football. Oh man. Or spring. Good luck.
19:52Good luck. Good luck making your decision on Bucky.
19:55Well, he was just discussed on the Tuesday wild card episode.
19:58If you want to go back and listen to that discussion.
20:02I'm not sure it's going to give you conviction one way or another, but the truth is there.
20:08The range of outcomes on Bucky is high, high risk, high reward.
20:11I mean that that is kind of what makes up fantasy.
20:15So if you have stability elsewhere and you want to take a shot on a guy that's being drafted as an RB
20:22two, that could be an RB one, whatever the case may be.
20:26There's upside. So I don't think we have any other news to talk about before we get into the mailbag.
20:33Unless you guys have anything you want to add.
20:35No, I'm good. All right. We'll take a break and jump into some questions.
20:40See if we can help you out. While the world was chasing trends, Fidelity figured out what blockchain technology actually means for investors.

21:24All right. Without further ado, it's time to jump into the mailbag.
21:28Mailbag. All right. If you have a question for the show, we're here to help.
21:33Go to the website, the fantasy footballers.com. Click the submit a question button or you can dial our voicemail hotline 3 0
21:402 4 6 4 T F F B. We're going to start off with a voicemail question.
21:46Hey, ballers in 10 things to remember. You said don't trap middle round tight end.
21:50Does that apply to Colson Loveland and Tyler Warren this season?
21:54Yes or no. Thanks. Have a good one. I'll take this one guys.
21:58So the question. Do you avoid middle round tight ends?
22:01Because historically, as soon as the elite guys are gone and you're like and players are drafted, I want a player who
22:09I can just put into the tight end position.
22:11He's just going to start for me. And it doesn't work.
22:15Yeah. I mean, looking at last year, even if you were to have drafted who finishes the tight end two, which sounds
22:22oh great versus the tight end 12, which sounds bad.
22:25It was meaningless nonsense. It had no doubt. It was like a couple points per game.
22:31Except for the playoff run of Kyle. Well, sure.
22:33I mean, on a on a per game like individual pick your games out basis.
22:38That's just streaming the position. So my tip on my things to remember was after basically McBride and Bowers, I'm punting to the end.
22:46I'm not taking a shot away. It's not because I don't like the tight ends that are there, but to take a
22:53shot away from a sixth round, a fifth round, a seventh round and an eighth round wide receiver or running back.
23:00I listed off all the guys we missed out on in those rounds last year, taking these other tight ends.
23:06It's not worth it. It's not good strategy. And then something happened.
23:10Michael Pittman went away. DJ Moore went away. And all of a sudden it looked like those two guys, Colson Loveland and
23:17Tyler Warren have the true chance to go into there.
23:21Yeah, sure. That's that's fine. I mean, you guys saw the future.
23:25You saw that those players would be removed. I didn't need them to be removed.
23:29Go on. I mean, with with that was the persuade the persuading factor for you for for Tyler Warren.
23:36A little bit more target clarity for Tyler Warren.
23:38Yes. I mean, DJ Moore at 85 targets, 50 receptions.
23:42That wasn't a huge clog. Michael Pittman was, you know, the leader in target.
23:46So Tyler Warren to me with that move, you repeat stats and numbers without hearing 55 burgers, 55 fries every single time you do it, man.
23:55Okay. Well, congrats, man. That's doing something. I'm doing something.
23:58I'm doing something. I'm doing something. So I absolutely include Loveland and Warren in the elite tier.
24:03I'm not drafting. Yeah, you got it. So that's the question, right?
24:07How far do you go, buddy? No, no, no.
24:10I am a huge believer in Harold Fannin Jr.
24:13I think his talent is awesome. I tried to trade for him in dynasty leagues.
24:18I absolutely, 100% will not be drafting Fannin this year.
24:21Oh. He is not in that tier. Oh. He doesn't have the quarterback play.
24:26He doesn't have the offense around him to really truly be elite.
24:30He has the talent. I think if he were to swap with Tyler Warren, I would be saying the same thing about Tyler Warren.
24:37Tucker Craft? Fannin. Craft to me as well. So those four names are the line?
24:42So to me, this is just my personal strategy and everyone's going to be different.
24:47But I am Bowers, McBride, Warren, and Mr. Loveland.
24:50And then I'm drafting my tight end in the last.
24:53Whoever is left over when everyone else has their tight ends, I'll find someone.
24:58The most recent news is Matt LaFleur saying Tucker Craft could be ready by training camp.
25:03So if the ACL truly looks 100% fine, like if he's there full participant beginning of training camp, which Timeline says shouldn't
25:10be, if he is and he really beats that, then I might move him into it.
25:15But he would be the only one that I would be willing to draft.
25:20Of the five. Of the five. Like Sam Laporta.
25:23Great tight end. Dalton Kincaid has big games. There's Kyle Pitts, the tight end too.
25:27I'm not wasting my time with any of them.
25:30They don't make a difference versus one another. You have to be truly elite at that position to matter.
25:37Otherwise, take more shots at the running backs and wide receivers.
25:40Do you think it was worth drafting Tyler Warren last year?
25:44Yeah. It was very unfortunate, the injury. He was basically in that elite tier.
25:48He was almost 11 fantasy points a game, which is, I mean, tight end two last year was like nine.
25:55But until the injury and then he kind of went away.
25:58Phillip Rivers couldn't get it done. In our mock draft that we did here a couple of weeks ago, McBride and Bowers went early third.
26:06Loveland went fourth. Fannin and Warren went in the fifth.
26:09It slipped a couple of rounds. Kraft in the seventh.
26:13And then it was like Laporta and Pitts. And those were areas where like, for instance, Tucker Kraft went after Vermondre, Manungay, before Dowdle and Dobbins.
26:21It looks like a running back run in that round.
26:24But yeah, that'll be an interesting one. I mean, I think that it's always tantalizing if you have young talent late in the draft that has upside.
26:33I haven't seen, you know, Stowers and Sadiq excitement the way we would have had Loveland and Warren, which is.
26:40And Sadiq just had surgery. I guess that should have been in the news.
26:44Hernia surgery. Yeah, he should be fine for the start of the season.
26:48But that's that's not great for getting, you know, off to a hot start.
26:53All right. Yeah. Last year, Warren's ADP was the eighth round as the tight end.
26:58I think part of the avoid tight ends in the middle rounds is if you already know who they are, you already
27:05know who they are as a fantasy player where it's like Loveland and Warren.
27:09We don't completely know. They seem like they're on the path to be to being top tier potential elite tight ends for fantasy.
27:17The other guy, it's like it's like pits. You know, and I mean, I'm I'm interested in Laporta.
27:23But at the same time, I know the strategy of it's like pits wore Laporte and Kincaid are just you know who they are.
27:30They'll give you a couple spike weeks, but they're going to give you plenty of weeks of three to four points.
27:37I think one of the difficulties of drafting those guys in the middle rounds is it's not just the trade with the
27:44other positions because those guys I mean in those rounds, those guys can flop to it is making sort of a commitment in your draft.
27:52To a tight end that might not be a good weekly starter, but when you draft them there, that's your tight end
27:59and you really feel locked in on that for a while.
28:03You know, tight ends are going to have fluctuating weeks.
28:06You're going to be oh, he had a bad week one.
28:10Oh, I'm a playing week two. Oh, well, it's kind of a slow start.
28:14I know what I saw in him. He's going to come along.
28:18You don't stream the position. You don't make a change when you grab Hunter Henry at the very last pick of your
28:25draft and it doesn't really make that big a difference versus him and Laporta on a on a per game basis.
28:32And then week one Stowers is crazy involved or Chigokonkwo has 10 targets.
28:36You're fine just going to the waiver wire and moving on.
28:40But when you when you do draft Laporta in the whatever round, you're like, I don't really need to drop it here.
28:47I've got my guy Instagram question coming in from FML.
28:50Bashaw Tootin or Christian Watson in a half PPR league?
28:53Oh, currently very similar in ADP fifth and sixth round picks.
28:57We did talk about Bashaw Tootin in our wild card episode as well.
29:01But Christian Watson, you know, one of the more exciting.
29:04I love both these guys upside cases. Yeah, you do.
29:08You let's hear your answer because you heard it.
29:11Oh, yeah, I feel like I'd go Watson because I'm I'm higher on Watson than I am to.
29:16I am higher positionally on Christian Watson than Bashaw Tootin.
29:20And it's just the I mean, look, they are they're both wild cards of of you can't be certain that they're going to hit.
29:27It's it's projecting. But if Tootin hits, he's so much more valuable, I guess, you know, for you guys, your because I'll throw to you, Jay.
29:36I don't know if you're as in on Watson as I am, but it's like Tootin and Watson.
29:42Who do you think has the who do you think hits is more likely?
29:46The more likely to hit is Christian Watson. I think I think Christian Watson is likely to hit.
29:52But I agree with you. If these if these guys both do what the hopes are, the value, it's way more valuable to have Tootin.
30:00If Tootin hits, he's going to make a bigger difference in fantasy than Christian Watson.
30:05Christian Watson isn't going to be someone where he's getting 100 receptions like that's just not his game is going to be downfield.
30:12He's going to have, you know, a lot of touchdowns and be a way better than where he's going right now in a draft.
30:20But he's not going to be just an every week dominator.
30:24Whereas on the Jags offense, if he takes over this Travis H and junior role and gets the pass catching, which he
30:31did in college, even though he didn't last year.
30:34Then, yeah, I think Tootin has a higher ceiling, less likely to get there than Watson is to get to his ceiling, which is lower.
30:42Last year, Christian Watson in his 10 games played would have projected to 60 catches for a thousand yards and 10 touchdowns.
30:49I mean, if you want to extrapolate the loss of Josh Jacobs outward.
30:53Yeah, I mean, I don't know how many times we've said the identity of this team is Josh Jacobs.
30:59If they have to throw the football, which I think they're willing to do if that's the like they've done it before.
31:06I mean, Jordan Love was the top five quarterback, right?
31:10I mean, wasn't he five? He Jordan Love, he gave us one great season.
31:14And even though it was not Jacobs, even though Jordan Love is not giving us tremendous fantasy.
31:20Success over the last couple of years, him as a player, like his advanced metrics say if they if they throw more
31:27Jordan Love will be great for fantasy and so will his weapons.
31:31Yeah, that's something else to to watch out for another voicemail question.
31:35Dave ours is Matt from L.A. And since we're deep into the offseason, I wanted to ask for each of you guys.
31:42When was one player that you had high hopes for, but they just kind of fell through the next season?
31:48Who goes far back to when the pod started of the show?
31:52Who is a player who we had a high hopes for that let us down?
31:57I mean, carry on. I mean, that's like so, so, so, so many.
32:01That's my cross to bear. Believe it or not.
32:04Two years in a row. When you double down and you lose, you lose.
32:08When you said never wrong just early, that name came to mind.
32:12Man, that was never wrong. Just injury. I still believe that.
32:16Uh huh. I am on Jason's side. I think carrying on Johnson would have been great, but his body broke down.
32:23Um, I mean, we, we've got, I mean, huge was a name on my list.
32:28I mean, huge was a, my guy for me one year, believe it or not.
32:32No, I do not remember what? Yep. Quentin Johnston was a, my guy.
32:37Oh no, that was Mike Williams. Okay. Same mark.
32:40Same team. I picture them the exact same. I mean, it makes sense.
32:44Uh, Mike Williams is one. All right. Mike Williams.
32:47We've been doing this a long time. The players just morph into the next one at the same size, but no, Mike
32:54Williams was one that I had as a, my guy.
32:57We we've had several of my guys over the year that were actually the year before I had Cooper cup the year
33:04before he was the number one overall wide receiver in the entire league.
33:08Several times. We talked about this on the foot cast yesterday.
33:12Um, we, we have a weird track record of being one year early on our, my guys for a lot of them, a lot of them.
33:20Oh gosh. I've got the whole Kyle and under 60 seconds.
33:24Grabbed the entire, my guys archive of all time.
33:27But who, who do you think that to answer the question?
33:30Who do you, is there a player that stands out?
33:34Really believed in that? Like you just, you were wrong.
33:37Oh dude. Uh, Royce Freeman. Hmm. Royce Freeman drafted by the Denver Broncos.
33:41He had the tier right in the giant. Huh?
33:44Was he the one with the giant? No, no, that's no Sean.
33:48Oh, Sean Murray. We're getting all the names mixed up.
33:51No. Royce Freeman. The giant was a third round pick to the Denver Broncos who had a completely open depth chart at the running back position.
33:59Royce's production profile was redonkulous. Everything totally made sense.
34:02The only thing I didn't see coming was an undrafted free agent, Phillip Lindsey beating him out for the job.
34:09I had John Dotson after the rookie season. Oh yeah.
34:12That was a huge letdown. I thought he would, I thought what I saw on film was great.
34:18I think that was a, that was a big letdown for everybody.
34:22Yeah. That one, that one hurt. Um, do you guys have any other names that come to mind?
34:28Hmm. Trey Lance, Mike? Yeah. Well, Trey boo boo.
34:30Blake Jarwin. Blake Jarwin to injury. Trey Lance is that.
34:34Who was the, that's all on. There was a, there was a charge.
34:38I think this was San Diego chargers running back who we love Ryan, Ryan Matthews, Ryan Matthews was, he was going to be so right.
34:46Matthews is just the, what could have been every year was what could have been with Ryan Matthews.
34:52That dude was electric and his body was made of paper mache.
34:56You had one year Mike where you had Ryan Matthews at that time.
35:00He was an Eagle and you had Dante Moncrief slapping the base for Indianapolis.
35:04I feel like Moncrief let us down to Jason.
35:07I got one more name for you. I got one more.
35:11Let me have, let me have it. It'll just punch me right.
35:15I'll be fliener. Oh dude. That you telling me this?
35:18Of course. Kobe fliener Peyton Manning's tight end. No, no, no.
35:22That was when he went to the saints. Yeah.
35:24You really, you projected him forward. Drew Brees is tight.
35:28There you go. He was the, he was the post Jimmy Graham.
35:32Yeah. Yeah. There, there've been some names over the years for fun stuff.
35:36All right. Um, YouTube question from AZ after QB eight, who has the most upside?
35:41Is it matchup dependent? So looking at the later quarterbacks, you know, Trevor Lawrence is at 10 for me.
35:47That's the name. He was almost the name to bring up on who's going to be drafted higher than where they're currently going.
35:54He was so good last year. The second half of last year, he was just dominant for fantasy.
36:00I think that's a great name to bring up.
36:03Yeah. We, we have also in the UDK, one of the things that's a feature, we have a risk rating, but we
36:10also have an upside meter for players that we see, you know, if you're differentiating because you want to add somebody with
36:17more fluctuation on your team with more upside, we do throw that in there as well.
36:22Obviously my home is going to be that name because my homes always has upside.
36:27He does. I, the name to me is Caleb Williams.
36:30Caleb Williams has every opportunity to, I mean, he runs the ball.
36:34He has a great offense. We love, you know, we're, we're debating all these different offensive pieces and they all go to Caleb Williams.
36:42I think we, we as a, we as an entity, like the whole universe does not, we as a universe, we as
36:49a universe, let me speak on behalf of the universe.
36:52Do not really believe Caleb Williams is going to be, you know, ever develop into like one of the, the best of
37:00the, you're going to be talking about Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes and Caleb Williams because his accuracy, his consistency has just never been there.
37:08He has to Josh Allen. Right. Exactly. He's got a, he's got a turn over a new page where it's like, I
37:15am now an every play consistent machine, but should he do that?
37:19Everything is set up for him. He'd be, he has the skill set.
37:23He's got the body size. He's got the weapons.
37:26He's got the offensive line. I mean, the fourth down conversion.
37:29Should he got it all that step? I mean, you're talking about a guy that next year we could be, you know,
37:36who, who has the option to be, you know, a top three quarterback next year.
37:41He should, if last year, which was his sophomore season, right?
37:45If that had been his rookie year, can you comprehend?
37:48Oh man. What we'd be anticipating for this season?
37:51Cause that those numbers, the big plays, the playoff run.
37:54If you said any of that stuff as a, you know, you didn't have the burnout of the first year, I think
38:01he'd be one of the biggest names. It would go Josh Allen Lamar.
38:06And then Caleb would be the third quarterback being drafted off the board.
38:10People just excited to, I think you're right. To, to have the future number one.
38:15Yeah. He made my homes like plays frequently last year.
38:18It's just was intermixed with what are you doing?
38:21So yeah. And when we love Loveland, we love burden.
38:24I think we like a doon. I think we like Ben Johnson.
38:28We like Swift. And I mean, there's, there's so much opportunity.
38:31Completely agree. All right. Let's take a quick break and we'll jump into some more questions.
38:37While the world was chasing trends, Fidelity figured out what blockchain technology actually means for investors.

39:05I want to grow the game of soccer and give every kid the chance to play.
39:10What would you like the power to do? Bank of America champion street soccer advocate, Kyle Martino, and is proud to be
39:17the official bank of us soccer and FIFA world cup.
39:212026 bank of America and a member FDIC. All righty, Kyle Hamilton writing in.
39:25Isn't that a, isn't that a race car driver?
39:28Kyle Hamlin. I think so. I don't do the race car driver.
39:32You can tell NASCAR maybe or something. I'm looking for some help over here.
39:36Is it Hamilton? No, it is. Denny Hamlin. Oh, Denny Hamlin.
39:40I see a Kyle Hamlin on IMDb known for a house of dynamite.
39:44Oh, that's probably what you were thinking. Perfect first date.
39:47Well, I, here's what might throw. Diora from Detroit.
39:50Here's throw some doubt. His handle is at thundering turd.
39:54So it's probably not any of those guys. Yeah.
39:56Yeah. It's the thundering turd version of that name.
39:59Um, why is everyone forgetting about Jalen McMillan? I can see him as the two in this offense.
40:05He will get opportunity as the two in this offense.
40:08100% Kyle Hamlin. Um, it's already been, they've already talked about this, like Ted Hurst.
40:13He is a big bodied wide receiver. Jason loves him rookie coming in, but it will be Jalen McMillan getting opportunity on
40:20the outside alongside Ted, uh, Ted Hurst as well.
40:23Yeah, for sure. I think it's a good name to bring up.
40:27Uh, you forget the end of his rookie season.
40:30He was the guy that caught fire. He was the reason to be maybe scared off of a Mecca Ibuka coming in as a rookie.
40:38Cause you're like, if that was this an Almond Ross St.
40:42Brown situation, you know, the end of, uh, McMillan's rookie season, he had two touchdowns, one touchdown, one touchdown, two touchdowns, one touchdown in his final five games.
40:51It was like, Oh, you couldn't keep him out of the end zone.
40:55And so you were wondering if he was a future star.
40:59Absolutely. I mean, if you're going real, real deep, you know, if you're in a, a best ball league where you're going
41:0620 rounds, take some shots on McMillan. I don't have a problem with that.
41:10I do personally like Ted Hurst enough to say, I think he's better than McMillan.
41:15They spent good draft capital on him. Um, you, so, uh, those two guys will compete.
41:20He had a serious injury that kept him off the field until week 15 last year, but he did have a top
41:2710 wide receiver finish in the midst of us waiting for a book to do something.
41:32He went seven for one 14. He caught 80% of his passes in the four games he played, whereas a book was under 50%.
41:40It's a good name to flag. I think the question mark is just, is he kind of a bit player?
41:47Yeah. Um, you know, I don't, I really have very little interest, but the outside is going to be a mix of
41:54McMillan Hurst and maybe even Tez getting some work out there.
41:57It's a book is secure in his spot on the field.
42:01Chris Godwin is very secure in his spot on the field.
42:05So the, uh, maybe McMillan ends up winning that outside job, but he, I mean, he has to, he has to fight
42:12off other players where the, where, and then, and then he has to fight off a book and Chris Godwin for targets.
42:19Which that's what I was going to say. Somebody other than those two guys with Kate Otten in the mix too, it's
42:26hard to imagine them, him supporting a three, you know, third to fourth option consistently, no matter who it is.
42:32Even if you gave Hurst every snap it he's should the other players miss time.
42:37Yeah. Then he'll be interesting. And the league, you know, Kenny Gainwell with his team leading receiving numbers.
42:43Like it, it's always good to take stock and have a, uh, you know, kind of a mental checklist of players that if a role appears can succeed.
42:52Cause not everyone can like where, you know, we'll have injuries throughout the season and we'll be like, ah, this, this wide
42:59receiver three is now in a new role. He's probably the top pickup of the week.
43:04It's like, we know that Jalen McMillan should that show up.
43:08He can show up. So I, I would agree with that, that he's a talented player, but he has, he has to
43:15overcome so much to be any sort of relevance.
43:18If week one, he plays basically a hundred percent of the outside snaps.
43:22Would you, I mean, and, and maybe he doesn't do electric things with them.
43:27Are you then picking him up off the waiver wire?
43:30Maybe. I'm very distracted as a, as a, uh, quote from bears coach Ben Johnson just came in.
43:36Oh, let's have it. Quote. I'm buying Luther Burden stock right now.
43:40How's that feel? Feels fine. I would hope he does.
43:43I hope he buys stock in all of his guys.
43:46He also just said, I'm shorting Roma doones. Oh, well then that would change things.
43:51Yeah. He didn't say that. Don't believe you. Mike had a lot of.
43:55The Luther Burton part is true. There was a lot of vitriol in Mike's.
44:00How does that feel? Yeah. The head coach just liking one of his players.
44:04I, I, I love this thing. He didn't draft room.
44:07I love this thing that has come up so naturally between Mike and I.
44:12They're just so different. Where. I know one's really good.
44:15Oh, where I am all in on Rome. He is all in on Luther Burton.
44:20And we're just going to through the season. Oh, it's going to be great.
44:25It's just going to be great. It's just going to be great.
44:28Every time either one does something good, it's just going to be death stare to the, you see that.
44:35Does that mean I get Loveland if we want to complete it?
44:38Can I have Loveland? Nah, nah, we're all. I mean, you can say that, but he's on my dynasty team.
44:45So. Alex writes in this question. The only one that can't have Loveland, and this is important, is Kyle.
44:51Kyle. Oh, he. Oh man. Hey. Stop talking about.
44:54Stop it. Kyle never breaks in. He won't stand for that.
44:58Oh man. What are your top five reasons for hating him, Kyle?
45:01Yeah. You've got the mic. I have him in dynasty and I love Tyler Warren.
45:06That is why. Stop clock, right? Autopick. Yeah. Yeah.
45:09My eight hour timer ran out. I ended up with Loveland.
45:13I hated it. Tried to shop him. Kyle has never broken into this show.
45:17Never. Unannounced without permission. And he immediately was on the microphone.
45:21He's not going to stand for that. He's in another state.
45:24Oh man. And he. Yeah. He won't stand for that.
45:28All right. This is sort of a follow up to an earlier discussion.
45:32Alex writes in dynasty trade question. Lad McConkie or the 2026 sixth pick in the rookie draft.
45:37106. Oh, Lad McConkie. Easy for me. I mean, you do.
45:41I mean, 106 is either going to be Makai Lemon, Jadarian Price, KC Concepcion.
45:45I don't think Lemon would get there, but. I mean, he absolutely could get there.
45:50He could. He could. I bet he's. You're saying because he's four?
45:54Yeah. I bet he's top five at least now.
45:57Yeah. At the sixth pick. I don't think. Yeah.
46:00You're probably looking at your pricing. Yeah. Or you just like you love Mendoza.
46:04Or Stowers or Sadiq. That's who you're. That's who you're taking.
46:08I know. I know without like for a fact that Lad McConkie is a great wide receiver that can get it done in the NFL.
46:16Yeah. That's. I think I'd stick with Lad. It's the hard part is going to be.
46:21Do you see. Like just where does the team go for an identity over the next five years?
46:27Because are you. Do you think that, you know, this becomes a Lad takeover situation?
46:32I think that's the bet that some people would want to make about some of the other receivers and with opportunity.
46:39Yeah. I think that the identity of the team will truly be Herbert.
46:43I, you know, I think this is going to be a team that over the next couple of years will be a Super Bowl contender.
46:51And like all Super Bowl contenders, it's Lamar's team.
46:54It's not Derrick Henry's team, even though Derrick Henry is, you know, the muscle that's making them move right now.
47:00I feel like saying that though is it's the, it's the Thor, uh, Star Lord meme.
47:06Yeah. You're the guy. Where Star Lord is Lamar and Thor is Derrick Henry's like, yeah, we, yes, no, no, no, certainly you are in charge.
47:14Better example. Better example. The bangles. Whose team is that?
47:17Yeah. Because obviously Jamar Chase is maybe the, maybe the best wide receiver in football, but you don't.
47:23No, that's Burroughs team. That's Burroughs team. I don't even know what that stuff means.
47:28Well, you asked, you asked, I know, but I just, I was answering your question, but the, but the answer wasn't what I wanted.
47:36Okay. The answer was whether or not you wanted a yes or no, Jason.
47:40No, no, no. I, I, I, it's fine. It's fine.
47:43I just, it didn't answer it for me internally of like, my question was whether you could start to identify McConkey as
47:51a chase or a neighbors or, you know, in that category of dominance where some people might take a shot on somebody else.
47:58Like McConkey's going into year three. He had a bad sophomore season.
48:02Um, I mean, you have to reverse it, right?
48:05You have to take over. The issue with that is it's like, is Casey Concepcion going to take over whatever the Browns are?
48:12Is Amari Cooper going to take over for the Jets?
48:15Right. In this specific draft, you're, you're like, this, that spot?
48:19You're probably on the McConkey side. I'm not disagreeing with that.
48:23I just, but if, if, if it was lemon, like if you change this pick.
48:27Yeah. That's a good one Oh four. I don't know what I do.
48:32Cause I really do like, I really do like lemon.
48:35Why didn't he have a neck in that picture?
48:38I don't know what you're talking about. You haven't.
48:41I love the question. Someone give me this picture.
48:44He took his like, you had my interest. He took a promo picture.
48:48Yeah. It's with, and this dude, this dude's just funny to begin with.
48:52He is a unique cat. Well, someone find that picture.
48:55The answer to your question is, do snakes have necks?
48:58Okay. Because do the, do snakes have necks or do they have bodies?
49:03Right. I wouldn't say a snake has a neck or are they all neck?
49:07Yeah. I don't know. That's a question. Are snakes all neck?
49:11Mackay lemon. There is no doubt. He is a snake.
49:14Yes. This dude, he's this dude. Serpentine quality. Yes.
49:17You can't talk to him without him snake in his head.
49:20Oh, I see the picture now. I don't think that was, that might not have been the exact picture, but it looks
49:28like he had one of them neck removals. The Tim, cause we're going to go back to Tim Robinson on every 15 seconds.
49:35Um, well let's, let's end it here with a lineup question in the same vein, same team.
49:41Do you believe Devante Smith can operate as a wide receiver one?
49:44I say yes. Yes. Or will lemons presence eat away at his potential given the age of a, this person said given
49:52the age of a Brown trade next week, which by the way, because that should have been the news.
49:58I mean, oh man, the public, I just don't want to talk about the public stuff on AJ Brown is it's like,
50:05okay, the Patriots are not going to give up a one and the Eagles are not going to settle for less than a one.
50:13And this is a, right now there's a large gap and that could change in five seconds.
50:18But on Tuesday I brought it up. Like my percentage was not as high.
50:23Stay strong Patriots. Because I just think sometimes stuff like this is sometimes it's real.
50:27And sometimes it's posturing for some change of like, like the Nico contract, right?
50:32Where he got the two years of extra guaranteed money.
50:35I would not be shocked if tomorrow you find out AJ Brown gets a money moved into the guarantee pile and you don't hear about it.
50:44Now he is also a guy that really, really wants the ball on every play.
50:48He wants stats. But right now it does not seem imminent, right?
50:52We're on, it's May 28th. Let me tell you this.
50:56We recorded a hundred player profile videos. Devante Smith and AJ Browns are sitting there in a coming soon.
51:02Let the dust settle status because. Because they're going to completely change.
51:06What happens with AJ Brown changes everything for all Eagles, for AJ Brown himself, for other quarterbacks.
51:11But Devante Smith can 100% be a one. 100%.
51:14He is, he is a great NFL wide receiver.
51:17He'll take over and we have enough evidence of this when AJ Brown or Dallas Goddard have missed time.
51:23Yeah. The, the, the fantasy success you, you have, I mean, Devante Smith has literally already been a top 10 fantasy wide receiver.
51:30So we know he can. And the question specifically of Makai Lemon, who I just said I love, will he eat in?
51:38It's the next thing. Will he eat in enough?
51:40I don't think that rookie Makai Lemon eats in enough.
51:44You've got. Snakes eat things whole. Yeah, they do.
51:47That's true. They do eat things whole. But I think he's a baby snake right now.
51:52I can't. Baby. Guys, we. We have. We have a snake man.
51:56We have a, yeah. We've got old drops. We've got to update the graphics.
52:00I don't know where it is. I got a snake man.
52:04Oh, Spencer Rattler. See you later. Oh yeah. Was that a lemon?
52:08That was the last time we'll see Rattler. Let's get this.
52:11This will be the third person to take over this drop.
52:15Blake mortals. Spencer Rattler. Welcome to the party. This is a hall of fame drop now.
52:20I got a snake man. Oh, it feels good to be back.
52:24Who amongst us doesn't want to find out if Romeo Dobbs can be a one?
52:29I mean, come on. Come on. What? You don't want to find out?
52:33I don't. Oh, well. Um, what a great way to end the show.
52:37On the show on the crickets. Uh, we have a explain yourself episode defending our individual rankings coming up next Tuesday.
52:44Another mock draft coming up on the horizon. Mike, you're going to love who I'm explaining.
52:49Okay. Is it burden? No. Um, the UDK. It's the better one.
52:53Oh. The UDK comes out on June 1st, which is Monday.
52:56So make sure you head over to ultimate draft kit.com to check that out.
53:01Um, man, something was popping into my head. Oh, I get, I, have you seen this?
53:06Like I've noticed if we do mock drafts, right?
53:09With sometimes they're like 10 teams. Sometimes they're 12 team.
53:12There has been a very direct association between the amount of teams including a mock draft and how manly you are on
53:19my, if you go to Twitter, they say man up and do a 14 team.
53:24Oh man, do a 16 team mock draft. 18, 20, no more manly, more teams.
53:29That's all I'm saying. I was unaware. I didn't know that was, I am low T.
53:34So this makes sense. Give me a 10 teamer.
53:37I was going to say, you go to the doctor and they're like, I just looked at your blood work.
53:44You're in a 14 league, aren't you? You're 14.
53:47You keep this up. It's 16 mocks from here on out.
53:50Yeah. Question my testosterone. Maybe they're corollary. Maybe if we do a 14 team mock, all of our testosterone would rise.
53:57That's how we become men. I don't know. I don't know.
54:01Um, I'm going to say goodbye. I'm going to hit this button.
