Bucky Irving should receive even more work in the Buccaneers offense to provide Baker Mayfield easier completions; he has been very involved so far with 15–21 opportunities and is not in a 50-50 timeshare with Kenny Gainwell as initially feared.

The source expresses confidence in Colston Loveland's long-term fantasy value despite a difficult Week 3 matchup against the Eagles. The source states "Loveland's going to be okay this year. I believe that" and cites "the talent of Colston Loveland, the run that he had at the end of last year, and the fact that this is not an incompetent franchise that will avoid getting the ball to one of the best players at the position." However, the source cautions that "I don't think it happens this week, and it might not happen for a few weeks," indicating patience is required before Loveland produces.

Insight page
PositiveRole46:24

The source believes in Loveland's talent based on his strong run at the end of last year and confidence that the Bears, as a competent franchise, will get the ball to one of the best players at the position; however, the source does not expect this to happen this week and it might not happen for a few weeks.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeMatchup47:07

Swift appears to be the Eagles' only healthy running back option and will likely be started despite tough sledding; the Eagles face a strong Eagles defense that will plug the line and play a ton of guys in the box, making it difficult for Swift to gain yards easily.

PositiveProjection0:32

Insight page

Jaleel McLaughlin

NegativeBust44:31

The source emphasizes not to let discussions about Javante dissuade you from starting him this week, as Dallas is going to score a bunch of points.

Insight page
NegativeBust33:54

Javante Williams presents a rest-of-season concern compared to Chuba Hubbard; while the source would take the Javante side in a direct comparison, Jonathan Brooks' six-week injury absence could lead to a timeshare situation with AJ Dillon toward the fantasy playoffs, creating long-term uncertainty despite current workhorse status.

Insight page
NegativeRole44:31

Javonte Williams is part of a Broncos running back room that the source characterizes as "a disaster of who's actually active." Current status shows Dobbins and Harvey at full practice, with Jonah Coleman as a DMP, creating uncertainty around Williams' role and availability.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveInjury5:45

Commanders GM Adam Peters said the team is optimistic about Jaden Daniels returning in 2026, with surgery and IR not currently on the table; one report suggests he might miss as few as one game, indicating a relatively minor injury timeline.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeRole0:27

Jordan Love has been sacked more than any other quarterback through three games, with many sacks described as 'comically ragdoll type' due to offensive line failures; he attempted 53 passes in Week 3 alone, more than double Michael Penix Jr.'s attempts, indicating a desperate game script and poor protection.

Insight page
NegativeProjection5:10

Jordan Love posted 300 yards and two touchdowns in Week 2, described as 'garbage time' production; the source does not blame Love for the Packers' offensive struggles, instead attributing the issues to a 'discombobulated offense through and through' that is 'not doing anything well.'

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveRole50:31

In a direct Wicks vs. Downs comparison for Week 3 play, the source chose Downs as the preferred start, indicating confidence in his role and matchup.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeRole4:35

The source believes the Packers desperately need Josh Jacobs back to fix their running game, noting that the last time Jacobs was with the team they had a great running game; however, there is uncertainty about whether Jacobs can succeed with the Packers' current offensive line issues, which represent a significant concern for his fantasy production.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeProjection40:29

The source notes the Vikings offense has not been particularly impressive in Weeks 1-2, with Week 1 second-half performance being the only strong showing and Week 2 being affected by weather conditions, creating uncertainty around offensive production in Week 3.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeMatchup46:01

Keenan Allen faces a difficult matchup against the Eagles' defense in Week 3. The source frames the Eagles-Bears game as a blowout scenario where Chicago is unlikely to put up enough points, with the Eagles favored by 4.5 points on the road. Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeMatchup10:40

Kyler Murray against Tampa Bay Buccaneers is not recommended; the source noted that the only place Kyler showed up was in garbage time before getting hurt, making him unplayable over Drake Maye.

Insight page
NegativeProjection39:03

The source expresses concern about Kyler Murray's performance in Week 3 against Minnesota, suggesting the Vikings' favorable spread may be hedging against Murray playing poorly; the source does not see how Tampa Bay wins unless Murray has a bad game.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveMatchup31:33

Lamar Jackson is a start in Week 3 against Dallas in Brazil with a 53.5-point over-under; the source would take the Ravens to win in a neutral-site matchup and views Lamar as one of the exciting pieces to play in this high-scoring game.

NegativeMatchup31:55

Lamar Jackson is starting for the Ravens in Week 3 against Dallas in Brazil; the game has a 53.5-point over-under and could be high-scoring, though field conditions in Brazil are uncertain.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

PositiveSleeper49:21

Makai Lemon is a great stash candidate; he ran 80% of routes in week 2 (full-time usage), lined up in the backfield, slot, and outside, running routes at all three levels including screens and deep routes, and was getting open despite not producing in the game; his usage suggests he will eventually get opportunities.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveMatchup32:48

Mark Andrews is a viable spot start at tight end in Week 3 against Dallas; he has maintained target volume with six and seven targets in recent weeks, and if Zay Flowers is unavailable, seven targets to the tight end position with touchdown upside is in play in the 53.5-point over-under game.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeUsage0:45

Marshawn Lloyd and the Packers running backs combined for only 17 yards on eight carries in Week 3, reflecting the offensive line's inability to create running lanes and forcing the Packers into a pass-heavy game script.

Insight page
PositiveProjection21:58

If Mike Evans is active and plays, the source would start him over Josh Downs in Week 3, indicating confidence in his production if available.

Insight page

Insight page

Rachaad White

NegativeProjection29:35

Rachaad White is not a recommended start in Week 3; the source would not start him given Baker Mayfield's poor downfield accuracy and the overall offensive struggles.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveRole32:24

Rashad Bateman would be preferred over Abuka if Zay Flowers is ruled out for Week 3 against Dallas; he would fly up rankings with confirmation that Flowers is unavailable, making him a viable play in the 53.5-point over-under matchup.

Insight page

NegativeRole11:31

Ramondre Stevenson's snap share dropped to 36% after a fumble last week; the source would play him over Trevion Henderson but notes the uncertainty around the backfield split is a huge problem.

Insight page

Skyy Moore

NegativeUsage0:05

Sky Moore received seven targets in Week 3, indicating opportunity in the Packers' pass-heavy game environment created by the offensive line's collapse and the need to throw 53 times.

Insight page

T.J. Hockenson

NegativeProjection40:54

The source indicates T.J. Hockenson will not be played in Week 3 against Tampa Bay, suggesting limited confidence in his production or role in the matchup.

Insight page

Ted Hurst

NegativeUsage26:00

Ted Hurst has a 17% target share on the Arizona offense, matching Ameka Buka's share; the source uses this comparison to highlight concern that the Cardinals are spreading the ball around too much and not concentrating targets on their top receiver.

Insight page
NegativeUsage28:27

Ted Hurst has been around the ball and receiving target share, but the lack of downfield plays and big plays in the Buccaneers offense is limiting his upside; the issue is Baker Mayfield's inability to connect downfield, not Hurst's involvement.

Insight page

Teddy Bridgewater

NegativeMatchup54:41

Teddy Bridgewater projected for 7.5 receiving targets in a rainy Tennessee-Giants game; the source took the over but noted the weather and Jalen Coker injury news were negatives for the game environment.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveRole42:59

With Puka Nacua expected to miss Week 3, Ferguson is positioned as the primary receiver option for the Rams. The source notes he might be the receiver three for the team, but emphasizes that the first two receivers are "pretty doggone good," and both Ferguson and the other option will "get a ton of targets" given Puka's absence. The source recommends chasing Ferguson's upside based on "the youth, the athleticism" when Puka is out.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveInjury8:00

Tony Pollard returned to practice, indicating he has cleared injury concerns and should be available for fantasy consideration.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

PositiveUsage12:00

Trevion Henderson had 60% of snaps and 16 carries last week but zero targets and zero receptions; the source believes he will get more involved in the passing game going forward, especially given the team's lack of wide receivers, and notes his first game back was in a blowout game script.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection9:06

Despite facing a tougher matchup against New England, Trevor Lawrence is preferred over Drake May for fantasy purposes this week, as May has not produced well since losing his wide receivers.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup9:06

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveProjection37:27

The source recommends playing Trey McBride in the Cardinals-49ers matchup, indicating confidence in his Week 3 production.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveProjection0:00

Despite a slow Week 3 start with drops and inefficiency, the source expects Tucker Craft to be 'awesome this year' because he is very involved in the offense and very good; he is working his way back to full health and full strength, and once the Packers' offensive line improves, his production should follow.

Insight page
NegativeUsage0:02

Tucker Craft received eight targets in Week 3's high-volume passing game (53 attempts), but caught only four for 26 yards, including one tipped/lateral pass and two drops; the source notes Craft dropped two passes in one game, matching his entire three-year drop total, suggesting he is still working back to full strength after injury.

Insight page
PositiveProjection4:05

Tucker Kraft received eight targets in Week 2 but failed to convert them into production, described as a 'major, major disappointment' despite the high target volume.

Insight page

Tyson Bagent

NegativeRole45:03

Tyson Bagent is listed as a DMP (Day-to-Day Probable) and is described as "the better of the backups" in the Bears' quarterback room. The source notes he "has actually shown the ability to take a shot downfield" and "take a shot to the outside," suggesting some offensive capability, but uncertainty remains around his availability and performance.

Insight page

Zach Ertz

Zay Flowers traveled with the Ravens to Brazil for Week 3 but has not practiced yet and is on track to not play; his status is uncertain heading into the Baltimore-Dallas game.

Insight page
NegativeRole32:00

Zay Flowers' status is uncertain for Week 3 against Dallas; if he plays, there is no world where he would be out of the lineup despite possible re-aggravation risk, as he is the Ravens' wide receiver one in a 53.5-point over-under game. If he is ruled out, Rashad Bateman would fly up rankings as the replacement.

2:09Tucker, Tucker Craft, the epitome of fantasy football here of game environment ended up sensational.
2:1453 pass attempts. Opportunity for Tucker Craft. Eight targets.
2:16Your tight end got eight targets. Oh, that's very exciting.
2:20Except he caught what? Four of them. Four of them for how many yards?
2:2426. And one of the catches, Mike, was one of the grossest passes I've ever seen thrown.
2:30It was a basically lateral... That one didn't count as a pass, did it?
2:34Yeah. That was a backwards pass. No, that's not a rush attempt.
2:38He'd be in rush attempts. He caught the ball.
2:41It was one of his four catches. That is generous.
2:44It was a tipped ball that went flying sideways.
2:47He caught it. He dropped two passes, which by the way, he only dropped three.
2:52Three's the most he's dropped in a year. And he dropped two last night.
2:56Yeah, he's not... He's not back. He's not back to full strength.
3:00I mean, this is... In the off season, I was saying he was kind of off my board at ADP because I don't want the slow start.
3:09However, I fully expect Kraft to be awesome this year.
3:12Like, he is very involved. He's very good. He's working his way back, you know, to full health, full strength.
3:19And they've got to figure out this offensive line.
3:22Can Micah Parsons play right tackle? I'm sure he can.
3:25I'm sure he can. Yeah, I bet if on the list of things he could figure out.
3:30How about 194 yards rushing by Bijan and 194 yards receiving by Drake London?
3:35Ooh, baby. It is more than five yards from Kyle Pitts.
3:38They hogged them all. I mean, yeah. Kyle Pitts won for five.
3:42I'm still winning that trade, boys. Epic tight end failure.
3:45But, I mean, there was so much fantasy goodness in this one.
3:49The Falcons guys. Matthew Golden, 101. Delightful. Christian Watson, my guy.
3:53A little bit. Maybe, maybe some stinky. I don't care.
3:56We got 96 and a touchdown out of Christian Watson.
3:59So, overall, I mean, Tucker Kraft getting the eight targets and doing nothing.
4:04Major, major disappointment. But, overall, pretty good for fantasy.
4:06Couldn't be more over for Marshawn Lloyd. It. Yeah, I mean, he's not that good.
4:11And I wonder, you know, I've been saying. I don't think Jake.
4:15Yeah, I know what you're going to say. I've been saying Josh Jacobs.
4:19They need Josh Jacobs desperately. I don't think he fixes it.
4:23Here's the truth. They need a running game desperately.
4:26The last time we have seen Josh Jacobs with this team, they had a great running game.
4:31So, I keep saying they just need Josh Jacobs back and they, and they really do.
4:36They need a running back that can get it done.
4:40The question is, can Josh Jacobs get it done with this offensive line?
4:44Because right now they've got some big issues to figure out.
4:47Yeah, this was, this was a nightmare for, I mean, you were very lucky that, that Golden and Watson, if you had
4:54them, you got the big games considering how bad everything else went for the Packers.
4:59You know, Jordan Love, garbage time to his. Jordan Love, 300 yards, two touchdowns.
5:04Yeah, you're okay. That's fine. And I don't really lay a lot at the feet of Jordan Love.
5:10I mean, it's just, it's a discombobulated offense through and through.
5:13They're not doing anything well. They should be 0-3.
5:16They should be 0-3. They should be 0-3. They were very fortunate to come back and win against the Jets.
5:23And yeah, it's Friday. Every week on Friday, we give $100 away via gift card to one of our supporters.
5:29And if you're over at jointhefoot.com, you are, we appreciate you.
5:33Today's winner, Bamsey Pants. Sure. Why not? Sure. Yeah, Bamsey Pants with the dub.
5:37That's cool. Sometimes I feel like they're just, I know we randomly choose winners, but sometimes I feel like you don't randomly choose them.
5:45Wow. You just give me something funny to say.
5:48Our people are funny. They are. Let's talk news.
5:51News and notes from around the league. Commanders, general manager Adam Peters said the team is optimistic about Jaden Daniels returning in 2026.
5:58As of right now, surgery and IR are not on the table.
6:02As of right now. Now. I heard one report saying he might miss as, as few as one game.
6:08Um, TBD, but we were saying we were waiting for some news here.
6:12Looks like, uh, they're trying to get him back as soon as possible.
6:16All right. Well, look, DJ Moore downgraded to a DMP on Thursday.
6:20Can Coleman still out. This is not a great situation.
6:24You don't want to go backwards in terms of designations during the week.
6:28So maybe DJ Moore is going to miss another week.
6:31They take on the chargers at home. Can Coleman would have been a nice, Hey, yeah, shot.
6:36But the truth is you probably could do worse than Khalil Shakir this week.
6:41Khalil Shakir is a PPR option. And Dalton Kincaid continues to look like, uh, one of the steals of the draft.
6:48Nico Collins did not practice, not practicing today or Thursday.
6:51Jalen Coker. He had been downgraded to a DMP weird, but we're, was seen at practice today.
6:56Yeah. And it was said that he looked good at practice today.
7:00So I think Coker should be fine. Uh, Xavier Leggett was also back, right?
7:05Yes. So there you go. Caleb Douglas will not play this week for the dolphins.
7:10The, uh, one receiver that looked like he had any, he's going to miss some time.
7:15Chris Bell expected to play this week. Okay. Adonai Mitchell, who got a lot of attention on yesterday's show showed up on
7:22the injury report with a fingy injury. Oh no, my fingy got caught in a Jersey.
7:27I haven't heard that one yet. They said there's some concern over the injury and he will be limited.
7:33I hate that. That sounds so nonsense, but it's like, okay.
7:37Imagine you got your finger stuck in someone's Jersey and then it just like dislocated or something.
7:42Yeah. Us mortals, we would be at, we'd call out of work for two weeks.
7:47Yeah. Didn't I break your like half break your thumb football and you were done for the year.
7:53Yeah. I was out. You were out. I do think fingers are pretty important for wide receivers to catch.
7:59I'm just saying we, we, we joke about it.
8:02We were like, but that that's not great. There's concern.
8:05He may not be able to play. So just more targets for Garrett Wilson.
8:10Yeah. Tajay Spears did not practice. Tony Pollard returned to practice.
8:13Rico Dattle did not practice. Sam Darnold was upgraded to a full practice for the Seahawks.
8:18All right. And then, uh, we do have injuries to catch you up on.
8:23We'll, we'll handle them and tackle them during the forecast.
8:26So let's jump right in. Fantasy forecast presented by prize pigs.
8:30Yesterday. We covered the chargers, bills, Panthers, Browns, jets, lions, Texans, Colts, chiefs, dolphins, Titans, giants, bangles, Steelers, Seahawks commanders.
8:36So if you want to hear those, you can listen to yesterday's episode.
8:40We've got seven more matchups to talk through starting with the new England Patriots back to one-on-one taking on the one-on-one Jacksonville Jaguars.
8:48This game's in Jacksonville, the Vegas line. This is an interesting one.
8:52Jacksonville minus three. The over-under is 45 and a half.
8:55Yeah. I don't know what you guys did with your little, uh, like the pool picks here in the office.
9:01This one was a, this one was a troubling, difficult one for me.
9:05The first thing I did was look at the, uh, the Atlanta Falcons versus the Green Bay Packers.
9:11And I was like, come on, come on. 13 straight home openers.
9:15Come on. Yeah. I was like, that's how many they had won.
9:19Yeah. Oh, I didn't know that. And I was like, Atlanta, there's no way they're going to screw this up, but I'm going to pick the Packers anyways.
9:28So that's how I've started. Uh, yeah. Well, look, this game, this one's interesting to me.
9:33Um, new England's defense got it together last week.
9:36Drake may has not been a fantasy force thus far.
9:39Trevor Lawrence slowed down by Denver last week. How do you feel about the two ball throwers in this one?
9:46Man, I have about Trevor Lawrence. That's exactly what I was just going to say.
9:51Even though it's the tougher matchup. I would prefer to play Trevor Lawrence over Drake may.
9:56We, we just haven't seen much good from Drake may since he lost his wide receivers.
10:01I mean, that's, that's a, uh, a difficult thing to try to do when you're, you know, you, you lost digs, you
10:08lost booty, and then you replaced them with AJ Brown, who you lost.
10:12Uh, Drake may is still a very good, uh, quarterback.
10:15I, I looked at his, uh, prize picks projection and almost went with it because it's, you know, to me it was like against Jacksonville.
10:24You should do it. What is it? Um, I'll, I'll, I'll look it up real quick.
10:29That was this morning when I was looking last.
10:32All right. Well, how nasty are you willing to get what the quarterback position versus Drake may like, are we saying Gino Smith against the Detroit lions?
10:40Man, that is, that is nasty. Kyler Murray against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
10:44Kyler is interesting to me. Um, I, I currently have Gino.
10:48There's no, there's no way I would try Kyler.
10:51The only, the only place we saw from Kyler were garbage.
10:54Then he got hurt. Okay. So you're not going, what about Gino?
10:58I don't, I don't think I would, I think I'd stick with Drake may.
11:03I would as well. The players that I would 16 and a half pass.
11:07The players that I would play over may would be kind of those, those love affairs.
11:13We've talked about recently, that where it's like, you might've picked them up off of waivers still be rostering Drake may Brock Purdy for sure.
11:21Oh, Brock Purdy for sure. What about Stafford against Denver?
11:24Man. Is it, is it in Denver? No, I play me.
11:27Yeah. Yeah. Oh man. Trevo and Ramondre. Last week, Ramondre had the fumble.
11:32So he saw his snaps cut down to 36%.
11:34Trevo had the big play, but was held in check outside of that.
11:39Um, which of the two would you rather start this week, Mike?
11:43Dude, it's impossible. I, it was, it would have been Ramondre last week, but he fumbled.
11:48This is, this is part of the, it's just a huge problem of you.
11:52You don't know when it will actually be Travion Henderson, at least for now with the, the, the current information, you know, I guess I would play Ramondre.
12:01So Trevion had 60% of snaps last week. How many targets do you think he had?
12:06Not enough. Uh, zero is not enough. Zero targets, zero receptions.
12:10That's the part of, of like, how do you put Trevion in a position where he can succeed?
12:16You know, you know, you, you, he's the only one that can give you a special run, but he had 16 carries last week.
12:23How do you not give him a couple of screens?
12:27How do you not see their gives? When you don't have wide receivers.
12:31I think they will. I think they'll get him more and more involved.
12:35This was his, you know, his first game back and they were up by so much in that game where, you know,
12:42I think it would have been different if it was, uh, you know, a, a, a different game script.
12:48Um, I did look up the, the, the Drake may projection here.
12:52Uh, 216 and a half. Yeah. On the passing yards.
12:55Yeah. I haven't projected for around two 50 and I'm like, Oh man, that's it's so tempting.
13:01But at the same time, he just has no one to throw the ball to because they won't put Trevo in the slot.
13:08They shall tootin seems like he's the dude. Did you see in our league of record?
13:13Chris Rodriguez got dumped this morning. Like the decision has been made six opportunities in each of the last two weeks.
13:20Parker Washington seems like the dude. Are you starting another wide receiver, Jason for Jacksonville?
13:25Um, I will say that I think a sneaky start is Brian Thomas jr.
13:30In this matchup. Um, you know, when you've got a superstar corner, uh, which the Patriots do have, I don't know necessarily
13:37that they will use them in shadow coverage, but oftentimes that lets a quality wide receiver to shine.
13:43So this is a matchup where, um, you know, last year you could throw on the quality wide receiver too.
13:49Yeah. I think Brian Thomas jr is a quality wide receiver too.
13:53Hmm. You disagree. He's been real bad, man. Like he got eight targets last week.
13:58He got three of them for 40 yards. Oh man.
14:01That sounds like Metcalf. Anytime, anytime a receiver catches a low percentage of their targets.
14:06That's calling, that's calling in a Metcalf. If we're, and so if we want to do that algebra, the way I feel
14:13about DK Metcalf, I'm kind of more on Jason's side with this one.
14:17I think that BTJ might be a little bit sneaky here.
14:21It's a 45 and a half point over under, I don't know where Christian Rodriguez is going to end up, you know, lining up.
14:28It might be on the outside. It might be on BTJ more than the guy that they move around the formation a lot in Parker.
14:36But I wouldn't be surprised if, uh, if he saw eight targets again, I'm not messing around with Patriots wideouts.
14:43I don't know how to predict that right now.
14:46Dobbs and Matt Collins and Douglas and Hunter Henry.
14:49Um, it would be Dobbs, I guess if there was one to choose last week, bounce back for three catches, 96 yards.
14:56Only four targets. The snaps still remain low, but his, his a dot is like, he's got, if he comes down with
15:03one, he's, it's going to be a big, what's his a dog.
15:07Does he have it in him? I think Romeo Dobbs says dog.
15:11Hmm. I feel like if he did, you would have called him Romeo dog.
15:15No, no, no. At least dogs, Arizona one-on-one San Francisco two and oh Vegas line here, San Francisco minus eight and a
15:22half over under 47 and a half. I I'm so excited because I almost brought it up a minute ago.
15:29Cause you were talking about different quarterbacks with Drake may.
15:32And I was going to say, obviously Brock Purdy, right?
15:35I think I did say that. Yes. But I wanted to bring up the fact that you talk about perfect storms forming.
15:42Oh man. We talked about Carolina and Bryce young and the fact that the substation is taking names six defensive linemen in
15:49two weeks have gone down for the 49ers. The latest news this morning, we don't report a lot of defensive news, but
15:56Nick Bosa injured multiple week absence could be longer.
15:59The 49ers are being their defenses being stripped bare.
16:02I mean, their offense as well, but they're getting to the point now where you're like, you know, could you see Arizona putting up points in San Francisco?
16:11I don't know. I, I, it seems 50 50 with Brissette and whether the offense works week to week, but not having
16:18Nick Bosa, not having the pass rush we saw from Seattle last week.
16:23Certainly better for the Cardinals. I mean, you, you're just getting to the point where like San Francisco and Brock Purdy, like
16:30Brock Purdy is looking more like the longterm every week answer at quarterback for fantasy football players.
16:35Brock Purdy is, he's a plug and play to me at this point.
16:39Uh, I don't, I don't see any reason to move off.
16:43Would you rather have him or shock rest of season locked into your lineup?
16:47Brock Purdy. Yeah. Okay. Because I know like every, again, everything with Shuck is just, it's a brewing excitement.
16:53It's a, what could be rock that Brock Purdy is the guy like Brock Purdy is, is so fantastic.
17:00Of he is like a one of one that his touchdown rate, Jason, you brought it up yesterday.
17:05I think of he just, he throws his touchdown percentages.
17:09It's over seven and you go, yeah, that's not regressing.
17:12That's just who Brock Purdy is at this point.
17:15Uh, for the Cardinals. Yeah. I don't think they, they, they mentioned that Jacoby Brissette got hurt or was dealing with something in the game.
17:23They didn't say anything specifics. I don't remember. He looked awful.
17:26Yeah. And I think he was dealing with the pass rush and that was the biggest thing.
17:32I feel like something was wrong. I think they talked about his quad.
17:36Yeah. I thought it was a quad issue, which I haven't seen anything about it, but I think that that should be
17:43a, like, it's a concern of McBride is in absolutely.
17:46And then after that, I mean, are you, what are you doing with this?
17:51So Jeremiah love, we're still frustrated there. I mean, this is, this is the issue with a rookie who is highly drafted in fantasy.
17:59When you take him at that two, three turn at the beginning of the year, because we're still seeing like last week,
18:06Tyler Algier was 64% of snaps and you know, love is not getting enough of the work.
18:11I fully expect that to change as the season goes on.
18:15Love will usurp him and take over and become the leader.
18:18He freaking better. If you spin a top five.
18:21Yeah. I mean, it was Seattle, it was Seattle last week.
18:25I mean that, and he's coming back from a high ankle sprain.
18:29I was going to ask the question, is he a buy low?
18:33Cause to me, he's a huge buy low opportunity.
18:35He's he definitely should be. And just for some context of, of where the market feels about Jeremiah love the prize picks
18:43projection for McCaffrey for yards from scrimmage. So rush receiving just under a hundred yards that yeah, that makes sense.
18:49McCaffrey. Jeremiah loves down that 58 and a half.
18:52Yeah. I mean, a combined rushing and receiving. Yeah.
18:55You're going to have to call your shot as to which week he takes over the job, or at least usurps him
19:02to become the leader of the job. I think it could be this week, uh, with the hurting defensive line, the divisional game.
19:09And now we're three weeks removed, uh, from that ankle injury.
19:13It could be now. Do we, you do we, I don't, we're two weeks in.
19:18It's hard to make real assessments like that. You think Tyler Algiers just going to go away?
19:23No, I don't think Tyler Algiers are like go away enough to a point where Jeremiah love can like, I think that,
19:30or is he, or is Jeremiah love going to, does it going to feel like, uh, a generic price at the end of the year?
19:38No, I don't think so. I think that, um, Algier will never go away.
19:43He will be involved. And unfortunately he'll probably be involved near the goal line.
19:47However, I, I, I expect that Jeremiah love will get to 60% of the opportunities, the work and that I think will be enough.
19:55Like B. John and Tyler Algier. Exactly right. And B.
19:58John got off to a slow start his rookie year, but what was still very good by the end for fantasy.
20:05And we haven't had that kind of iconic Jeremiah love play yet.
20:09We're going to have one or two or 10.
20:12Like he's going to have the breakaway run, the B.
20:15John type of run. So I do think it's a buy low opportunity.
20:19You're not, you know, you can't go in with absolute confidence right now, which is why it's a buy low opportunity.
20:26Somebody might be willing to give him up for, you know, let me just give you a hypothetical.
20:32Chuba has a big week this week. Jeremiah love stays sub 40% snaps.
20:36You know, I think that's when you start to your three weeks in somebody might decide Jeremiah loves not happening.
20:42And the Chuba is just something to bring up.
20:45If you have three straight top 12 weeks from Chuba, I'd still be willing to trade him away for Jeremiah love.
20:52Okay. Oh yeah. I would as well. Also update on the brissette.
20:56He has been a full participant Wednesday and Thursday at practice, but he is listed on the injury report with a hip injury.
21:03Okay. Debo is in your start of the week.
21:06He's the last man standing. And then George Kittle, the snaps still aren't there, but four for 80 and a touchdown last week.
21:14Yeah. I'd really, I'd take the production of Kittle over the snaps of, of freaking Tucker Kraft right now.
21:20Like I'm going, these guys came back from ACLs.
21:23They're doing more with Kittle was Kittle was Achilles.
21:26Sorry. They're doing more with less. You know what I mean?
21:29Like Kittle, he comes in, they're like, Hey, we're going to go to you.
21:34Yeah. I don't know. Kittle's awesome. Mike Evans. You are on a injury watch.
21:38He did not practice on Thursday. He is a veteran.
21:42He's the type of guy that might not practice a lot and still play.
21:46Is he in? I think so. I think if he is, I think if he's active, I'm going to have him Josh Downs or Mike Evans.
21:54I'd go Mike Evans. If Mike Evans plays, I would play him.
21:58Oh, but that's, that's tough. And when legit, when his management, you know, the, the substation is just, you know, it's just
22:05like, it feels like a fun bit that we do on Twitter at some point.
22:10At some point they act, they have to actually take it serious.
22:14Right? I mean, I don't think it's actually the substation.
22:17I think it's the way that they train the way that their medical staff brings players back the time.
22:23Like there's, there is something going on for sure.
22:26They've literally been the leader in, in starter injuries for like six consecutive years.
22:31They changed staffs over that time. That was one of the big headlines a few years ago.
22:36I mean, maybe it's Shanahan and you're not going to change it.
22:40And he forces people to get back. I don't, I don't know.
22:44You playing any Cardinal whiteouts in this game? No.
22:47So play Trey McBride. Yep. Okay. We'll take a break.
22:50We'll get into some more matchups. The Minnesota Vikings at two and Oh, taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at own to
22:57Vegas line, Minnesota minus one and a half on the road over under is just 42 and a half in this game.
23:04It's been overcoming adversity for Minnesota versus creating adversity for Baker Mayfield and the offense in Tampa Bay.
23:10Problem of my own design. And yet Tampa is favored in this game.
23:14Your consequences of my own actions. It's just, this is one of those games where if Tampa wins it, it's an, it's
23:22a nightmare for Minnesota because it means that Kyler Murray came out there, didn't win the ball game.
23:27And Carson Wentz got them two dubs. And I just think that that's a, not a great story.
23:33It's not a great look. That would be awful.
23:36The first thing that went through my head when I saw the spread, because honestly, I think the Vikings should be favored
23:43by more than a point and a half. Uh, the, their defense has been outrageously good and the Buccaneers do not look like they have it together.
23:52They, they have lost a lot of games here since the second half of last year.
23:57I mean, they, they were, they got Watson another start.
24:00They got who? The Buccaneers were so bad that Deshaun Watson will still be starting for the Cleveland.
24:06Yes, exactly. And so, uh, when I saw that line, I was like, is this just like Kyler Murray?
24:12Like it's like a hedge against Kyler just being terrible because I just don't see how the Buccaneers win this outside of Kyler being terrible.
24:20Well, I, I, I could see it. I mean, I, the, the low over under, they seem to be angling towards a close defensive minded game.
24:29I wouldn't say any of us have been like super impressed with the Minnesota offense in the last two weeks.
24:35They've gotten some stuff done, but I mean, they're, they're part of the bears though of the, like week one, their offense in the second half was awesome.
24:44And week two, you have to throw it in the garbage because of the storm.
24:49Yeah. I mean, it's still, it's still was Carson Wentz and we haven't seen Kyler.
24:54So I, I, you know, we're not playing Addison.
24:57We're not playing Hawkinson. We might not be playing a running back on this team this week.
25:02That's another factor, right? Like if Aaron Jones, he is limited and he's, he's supposed to be back, but that is a
25:09factor in the way that this offense is going to be able to function.
25:14If it's, you know, that could be a bigger portion of the, why this there, the favorite is so low and said
25:21Tampa was favored by one and a half. By the way, Jason, you corrected me Minnesota minus one and a half, but it's close.
25:29The Abuka situation. He is at price picks has them at 48 and a half receiving yards.
25:34He's only got a 17% target share on the year.
25:37Where are you? What's the headspace for a Mecca book?
25:41Is he a buy low? Is he a, I'm scared after the second half of last year.
25:46Is this a Baker needs to prove it before I believe what, what is the situation there?
25:52I am very concerned about it, about how they are spreading the ball around.
25:56I just wanted to double check. So yeah. So 17, 18% for a Mecca.
26:01As far as target share. Target share. Disgusting. You know who's got 17% target share on that offense?
26:06Kate Auten? It's me, yeah! Ted Hurst? 17%. Oh my gosh.
26:10If only we could fly! Like, they can't fly.
26:13That's why I'm concerned. No, that's, I mean. Ted Hurst out here.
26:17Ted Fred Durst Hurst. Pulling in a 17% target share out the gate?
26:21Is he Ted Fred Durst Hurst or is he?
26:24I don't know. Is he Fred Hurst? I don't know.
26:27Oh my gosh. So is that, you're afraid? Yeah, I am.
26:31I'm very, I'm very concerned that he is not, it's like.
26:34He is not him? I don't know about that, but the, don't hear what I'm not saying, but it's like, Marv is not commanding targets for Arizona.
26:43Ameka Buka is clearly not commanding targets from Baker the way that we feel like he should be as a first run
26:50talent, as he should, he should clearly be the number one and he is not being treated like it.
26:56Yeah. And honestly, he got off to such a strong start as a rookie that I think we forgot who he was.
27:03He was one of my favorite prospects as a wide receiver because what I saw was just a phenomenal wide receiver.
27:10But also, you know, for fantasy purposes, I didn't think he had a super high ceiling.
27:15He wasn't my wide receiver one for the rookies.
27:18When we were talking about him pre-NFL draft, I was like, he is a perfect wide receiver, great route runner, good hands, does everything you want.
27:26But he's not the kind of like neighbors-esque explosive athlete that's going to take over in fantasy, have these incredible deep touchdowns, you know, left, right, and center.
27:35He, to me, is like the perfect NFL wide receiver too.
27:39And he seemed like he was to start last year when they had Mike Evans and all that.
27:45He hasn't scored 10 fantasy points since week 10 last year.
27:48I mean, that is a lot of games in a row where I think you might just have to adjust your expectations
27:55and say, he's not a fantasy star. You said since week 10?
27:59Of last year, yeah. Yeah, they're 2-9 in those games.
28:02Do you- Going back to week 10 of last year.
28:06Which is 10 games in a row. They have been a terrible football team.
28:10Where do we want- do you feel like the blame is Baker Mayfield or Abuka?
28:15I think it's been a- it's pretty much what it's been since week 10, which is Baker was hurt, Abuka was hurt last year.
28:23This year, Baker is a nightmare so far. He cannot connect down the field.
28:27He's 30th in EPA per play among quarterbacks. Every downfield ball, he's overthrowing people.
28:32I mean, you talked about Ted Hurst's target share.
28:35Where's the big plays? There aren't any big plays.
28:38It's not Hurst's fault. He's been around the ball.
28:41To me, this is- you've got to start giving Bucky Irving even more work.
28:45You need to pick your spots and give some easier completions to Baker Mayfield, which should be Abuka.
28:51They're like, Bucky's been on a- we got him on a snap count right now.
28:56Bull crap. 15 opportunities, 21 opportunities. What are they going to do?
29:00What's going to happen? They're just counting his snaps.
29:02No, I love it. I mean, obviously, Bucky has been a good pick so far, very involved.
29:08And I think that the worries of this is going to be a 50-50 timeshare with Kenny Gainwell that they brought in is- that's already been answered.
29:17That's not the case. But against this Minnesota Vikings defense, I'm not excited for anybody.
29:21I'm certainly- No. I'm not excited for Bucky either.
29:24Am I starting him? Yeah, he's going to get the opportunities.
29:28You're hoping for a touchdown somewhere. Probably a bad game.
29:31I'm not starting Baker. Honestly, I think Abuka is a player that if you have other good options, I would- Abuka or Downs?
29:39Downs is now the measuring stick for the week.
29:41All right. Let me actually look at that one.
29:44By the way, Abuka is a rookie. Downs is one spot ahead of Abuka for me.
29:50Outside the last three games of last year, he's 24% target share as a rookie.
29:54He had games at 30%, 35% target share. The fact he's at 17%, he did that one time in his first 14 games.
30:02And now he's done it through two games. It is problematic.
30:05They seem like a team that may be the- I don't know who the leading candidate for a midseason firing is.
30:12To me, it's Todd Bowles. Yeah, he's got to be up there.
30:16Yeah, he's got to be up there. I think I would still play Abuka over Downs just because Downs has an equally bad matchup against Houston.
30:24He'll be fine. Hopefully. Josh Downs is fine this week.
30:28But there's plenty of players, you know, the Jalen Coker tier, Jameson Williams who's been bad.
30:33Those type of players I would be playing over Abuka.
30:36Yeah. Let's go to Rio. Baltimore, Dallas. We're in Brazil.
30:39Bonjour. Baltimore minus three and a half over under 53 and a half.
30:43Both teams are one and one, right? Both teams, I believe, are one and one.
30:48This is- Zay Flowers is traveling with the team, but he has not practiced yet.
30:53So, him traveling, I thought it was very strange.
30:56Like, how do you- if he's not- he hasn't practiced yet, on track to not play, went down to Brazil.
31:02Then I saw a video of- one of the Ravens players posted it, and they're in this, like, fancy hotel pool.
31:09That might be why he went. And I was like, oh.
31:13Maybe that's why he went. Oh, okay. I'm not missing out on my trip to Brazil.
31:18I got this passport for a reason. Yeah, like, okay, I guess they're human beings, and maybe he just was like, I'm going to Brazil.
31:26So, we have some news. Ronnie Stanley did not practice Wednesday or Thursday.
31:30Offensive tackle for the Ravens. Something to keep in mind.
31:33Dallas, I mean, you're playing- you're playing both quarterbacks, obviously.
31:37Dak and Lamar get starts here in Rio. This game could be awesome.
31:41We got a 53 and a half point over under here.
31:44We don't know what the field condition will be, if it's anything like the other Brazil game.
31:50Are you surprised it's Baltimore minus three and a half when you might not have Zay Flowers on the field?
31:56After what their offense looked like last week against the Saints?
32:00To me, I'm a little surprised. Yeah, I get it.
32:03That it's- well, I guess, I mean, it's like a neutral site.
32:07Yeah, it is. Because you're not in- if you gave Dallas the home field advantage, then I think I'd be more surprised about it.
32:15But in a completely neutral head-to-head, it's like, I would take the Ravens to win.
32:20You playing Abuka or Rashad Bateman in this game with no Zay Flowers?
32:24That's a legit question. I think that in this game against Dallas, if Zay Flowers doesn't go, I would rather play Bateman.
32:31He will fly up my rankings when we get confirmation that Zay Flowers is out.
32:36And alternatively, if Zay Flowers plays, obviously you've got issues with possible re-aggravation, but there's no world where he would be out of my lineup.
32:44I mean, against Dallas in a 53.5 point over-under, you want the exciting pieces.
32:48Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, and then wide receiver one, whoever that is, which is either Zay Flowers or Rashad Bateman.
32:55Yeah, and I know you released him and he doesn't have a lot of upside, but I think you could do worse
33:02than Mark Andrews this week as a spot start at tight end.
33:06The targets have still been there, six and seven.
33:09And if Flowers is not there, seven targets to the tight end position with a chance of a touchdown is in play.
33:16We've talked a lot about Javante Williams this week.
33:19You're obviously playing Lamb and Pickens. Javante is a kind of must play still.
33:23Yes. Don't let our discussions about Javante dissuade you from starting him.
33:27We're just, we're concerned long-term. But as of right now, he is the workhorse and he's going to get all of the opportunity.
33:34Dallas is going to score a bunch of points.
33:37Did we ask the Chuba versus Javante rest of season question?
33:41I don't, I don't think we did. These ones are just popping into my head today.
33:46And that's another one where I'm like, I think I'd rather have the Chuba side.
33:51That one. I'm going to take the offense of the Cowboys, but I, I, they're in the exact same tier.
33:57I would take the Javante side. I don't think anyone is coming to take Javante's job.
34:02And while Brooks is injured for six weeks and it'll be a long stretch, could see towards the fantasy playoffs, uh, that, that becoming more of a timeshare.
34:11Wait, you gotta let Jonathan Brooks go. It's good.
34:14It's done. It's not happening. It's very done. Your comp, your, your fears now would lie with AJ Dillon.
34:21Okay. So you, you don't think Brooks is coming back at the end of the year.
34:26I don't. Zero. Oh, he might come back to the team.
34:29I mean, he was, he was healthy by the way to start this year and they don't use them.
34:35He just, yeah, I don't see it. Yeah. Not this year.
34:39Anyways, Austin Eckler on the way. Maybe. Maybe. We'll see.
34:42Las Vegas two and Oh saints. One and one Vegas line is new Orleans minus three.
34:47See that one. That one's confusing. Cause I say the Vegas line, but then there's like the Vegas.
34:53Okay. So they set their own lines there in Vegas.
34:56Um, new Orleans minus favorite again, guys. They're giving themselves bullets and board material here over under.
35:02Is 43 and a half. And, uh, I already got one this week, but why not do another?
35:08Oh, Mr. Raiders over here. Andy's almost upset of the week.
35:11Andy tries to walk around the office. Like he's not a Raiders guy.
35:15I mean, he, he's like, I'm sorry. You know, I sort of a Raiders does that.
35:21Everyone knows you freaking love the Raiders. What's funny is when he was saying that me, VU this week, this is our auxiliary team.
35:28Yeah. When, when he was saying that earlier outside of the studio, he was wearing a Raiders helmet.
35:34He's like, I don't understand. People don't know. Has it come through that?
35:38I might believe a little bit in the Raiders.
35:41Yes, you believe. And I will say this. And Max Crosby in that rookie corner.
35:46And I love, I love what Kubiak is doing.
35:49I think that the team looks good. They are honestly, it's not surprising.
35:53What do they look like? Stable. Yeah. It's not, I mean, you're not just going to Kubiak a good coach.
36:00You're going from a broken version of Pete Carroll and sons last year that was totally inept.
36:05And so I do think the Raiders are a good team.
36:09I don't think that they are a bad team.
36:11However, I think the saints are a very good team.
36:15This is their home opener. And that, I mean, that stadium is going to be wild.
36:20They are so excited for the saints. So this is going to be a tough sledding for the Raiders.
36:26And if the Raiders go in there and win, they will make a statement.
36:31Here's what's impressive to me about the Raiders. They have shown me something on the defensive side of the football.
36:37And they've won two games without their best offensive player.
36:40And one of the best players in the game.
36:43Brock Bowers. Who should be returning this week. So adding Brock Bowers to the equation.
36:48Adding Bowers to the equation. Look, I'm not going to feel as confident about that upset if Bowers sits it down.
36:55But I've talked about the fact Calvin Banks is out for this offensive line.
36:59You're going to see Tyler Shuck deal with pressure the whole game.
37:03He may deal well with it at home. But, you know, I don't know what in the world is going on in the running game for the Saints.
37:12But I don't know if they have one right now.
37:15HN Jr. limited on Wednesday and Thursday with a hamstring.
37:19Man, I think it's hands off. I think the Raiders win this game.
37:23Oh, you said it. I think the Raiders win the game.
37:26It's going to be interesting. The only thing that you just need to keep in mind.
37:31Because I know that they have looked really competent, really solid.
37:35Max Crosby is amazing. Is that they played against the Chargers.
37:39Who now we are questioning if they're good. And the Dolphins.
37:42Who we don't have to question. We know. So we haven't seen them really pushed yet.
37:47Will the Saints push them? I mean, it's a 43.5 point over-under.
37:51We're not expecting big scores in this game. That's a low over-under.
37:55It's lower. It's 23 to 20 in that line.
37:58It's a lower one. I think that the plan for the Raiders is play good defense.
38:03Run the football 30 times. That's the one area the Saints have been beat through two weeks.
38:09It's 26.2 fantasy points given up through two weeks for the Saints.
38:12They have the workhorse in Gentry to do that.
38:15And you've got Trey Tucker and hopefully Brock Bowers back in the equation.
38:20Fantasy-wise, play Gentry. Play Bowers if he's active. Play Tucker if you're desperate.
38:24I think that's a great. Olave, of course. Vele would be.
38:27I think Vele is, of course, as a flex.
38:30Yeah, he's viable. Nine targets, seven targets. The volume will be there.
38:34And then the running backs, I don't know if you can play one.
38:38Nope. It's really, really tough. The only way that I think you could play one is if it turns out that one guy is active alone.
38:47Like, if... I feel like it's a trap. It feels like a trap.
38:51Kendra Miller did not practice, but it was illness.
38:54And so he was inactive last week. I presume that that was because Alvin Kamara was active.
38:59So this is like kind of a roulette table where I'm like, the ball is bouncing around.
39:05And it could be Travis H.A. Jr. Is active or inactive.
39:08Kendra Miller is active or inactive. And Alvin Kamara is irrelevant.
39:12He is not a good enough player at this stage of the career to put him in.
39:17I mean, he could literally touch the ball 20 times and be a bad player.
39:22I was going to give you the numbers. This is why it's a trap to me.
39:27If H.N. Jr. is out and you're like, maybe Kamara, Alvin Kamara had 15 opportunities last week.
39:33Incredible. How many targets? That includes six targets. Wow.
39:36The more valuable than carries. 15 opportunities. And he put up 4.7 fantasy points.
39:40You're not going to convince me that Kendra Miller gets more work than Kamara.
39:45That's for sure. And... No, but my point is...
39:48But Kendra Miller is like the only one of this group who could do anything.
39:52If Kendra Miller got eight opportunities and Alvin Kamara got 14, I would assume more fantasy points than Kendra Miller's side.
39:59But I agree. I think you're hands off in the running back room right now.
40:04And we've talked extensively about Tyler Shuck. You can use the start set tool on the website, thefantasyfootballers.com, to throw in all these other quarterback conundrums.
40:12And Juwanson. Of course. Juwanson is... He's fine. Juwanson is fine.
40:16It's not a... I mean, I'd play... It's not a plus matchup.
40:20I would just be chasing the higher over-unders with the Johnson tier of tight ends.
40:25Sure. So, like, you're going Mark Andrews over Juwanson?
40:28I'm okay doing that. Yeah, I like the targets there.
40:31I mean, it's... It's been a couple of big plays for Juwanson so far.
40:35I mean, he's only had three catches and four catches.
40:39And he had a huge run down the sideline and a touchdown in week one.
40:43I'm not taking anything away from the player. I just don't know if the targets are going to be where you want them to be.
40:51We'll take a break. We'll talk Sunday night, Monday night football.
40:55And we'll get into the fantasy face-off. Well, this one should be fun.
40:59The Rams, one-on-one, taking on the one-on-one Denver Broncos.
41:02The biggest line, the Rams minus two and a half.
41:05In Denver. Over under 44 and a half. Mike, you got Blake Corriman as your start of the week.
41:11Kyron and Blake, you're playing them both? Yes. And then Puka, not expected to play again.
41:17Devontae Adams was insane last week. He was 32% target share, has a 42% targets per route run with Puka off the field as a Ram.
41:25And yeah, you know the equation here. I mean, Terrence Ferguson is the fun, exciting upside secondary target because you saw nine targets.
41:32You saw a concerted effort to make him a focal point in the passing game that led to 14 and a half fantasy points and a touchdown.
41:41And he dropped two big plays. Like, he should have had a bigger day.
41:46Yeah, I mean, he's super – like, it's sort of cheat code-esque because Ferguson really is like a big slot receiver.
41:52And you get to play him at tight end?
41:55Seems to be the rules. If your last name is Ferguson and – And one of the top targets.
42:01And one of the top wide receivers is out, then you're a great option for fantasy football.
42:07This is simple. Fantasy is so simple. Just look for the name Ferguson.
42:11Mm-hmm. I would say – so looking at him on sleeper, what I am seeing is his roster percentage at 23%.
42:18So still – Crazy. Still pretty widely available. And I would agree, like, if you're in the Juwan Johnson tier – Oh, my gosh.
42:26And you get news that – I mean, I think it'd be pretty shocking at this point with what we're hearing if Puka plays.
42:33But once you get the official word that Puka is going to be out, I would put Terrence Ferguson in over someone like Juwan.
42:41Terrence Ferguson must be rostered in every league. Like, to me, if you – you look at, like, okay, Sam Laporta, amazing, great, better offense.
42:49I feel like there's more target, you know, opportunities here for Ferguson or Tyler Warren against Houston.
42:55Ferguson to me is, like – now that we know Puka's not playing.
42:59And unfortunately, I think when Puka comes back, this isn't a rest of season, just Terrence Ferguson's going to be awesome.
43:06He might be the receiver three for this team, but the receiver three is usually irrelevant for this team.
43:12The first two are pretty doggone good, though. So, while either's out – And to clarify, Puka's not been ruled out.
43:19Yeah. Oh, I thought you said – No, no, no.
43:22He's not expected to play. I thought you said he was definitely not – That's what I was saying.
43:28We need the official word. We don't believe he will.
43:31Certainly. I just want to be – No, thank you, thank you.
43:35Nasty question for you, Jason. Ferguson v. Ferguson, by the way.
43:39If that's your matchup this week, I just want to see it on socials.
43:43I'd go Ferguson. Terrence Ferguson or the doctor? Dalton Schultz.
43:46Yeah. Make me an appointment. If Puka is out, then I think I would go Terrence Ferguson.
43:52Just chase the upside? Yeah, the youth, the athleticism, and I think both are going to get a ton of targets.
43:59I think the Broncos' defense is what talks me into the other side of that one.
44:04Okay. I mean, last year – If there's appointments available.
44:07I know a lot of people have been seeing the doctor.
44:10It's hard to get in last minute. We've been seeing the doctor lately.
44:15Yeah. But matchup with the Colts. How about the other side, the Broncos?
44:19I mean, Waddle is in. Man, we're starting less Broncos than we were before, aren't we?
44:24I mean, Bo Nix is no longer in the conversation.
44:27No, I think that's it. I'm not – Waddle, check out.
44:31The running back room is a disaster of who's actually active.
44:34And Tyler Bidet will get work with whatever other dude gets activated.
44:38Right now, Dobbins is a full practice, Harvey's a full practice, and Jonah Coleman's a DMP.
44:43And you're playing the Rams. I'm not – I think it's a trap to play a Broncos running back right now.
44:50Yeah, I can't disagree. The Eagles are 2-0 taking on the Chicago Bears, who are 1-1.
44:55Oh, man. Who have the third lowest, fourth lowest implied point total of 18.5 this week.
45:00Wait, they were going to break the scoring record.
45:03Oh, gosh. Philly minus 4.5 over under 41.5. I mean, this is just a pretty – This is a bummer.
45:10This is a bummer situation where you literally look at this game and you don't have to say anything fantastic about the
45:17Eagles' offense to know they're going to win the game.
45:20Because I don't think Chicago can put up enough points.
45:23Now, maybe Ben Johnson is a miracle worker and a Bay Jensen.
45:27And Keenum can find – I mean, they have weapons.
45:30I don't want to give them no chance. But it's 4.5 road favorites.
45:35That's heavy. And, you know, I don't think Mononga is going to play in this game.
45:40He's been a DMP two straight days. We'll see.
45:43We have a DMP for Tyson Bajan, who is the better of the backups.
45:47He's actually shown the ability to – like, he'll take a shot downfield.
45:51He'll take a shot to the, you know, to the outside.
45:55I don't know if Keenum still has it. It's just a bummer.
45:59No Caleb Williams in this game. A Dunze, Burden, Loveland.
46:02I don't think you want to go there against the Eagles.
46:06Not really. And it just sucks. It's like the air has come out of the sails here for Chicago.
46:12And you just have to be patient. Like, to me, Loveland's going to be okay this year.
46:17I believe that. He's not my guy. I believe that as somebody who believes in the talent of Colston Loveland, the run
46:24that he had at the end of last year, and the fact that this is not an incompetent franchise that will avoid
46:31getting the ball to one of the best players at the position.
46:35But I don't think it happens this week, and it might not happen for a few weeks.
46:41Yeah, I love Case Keenum, the dude. His last start was negative fantasy points, and that was in 2023.
46:47He's 38 years old. I thought he was only doing the State Farm commercials.
46:51Yeah, I mean, putting in the backup. He wasn't supposed to be the backup.
46:56He was the backup to the backup. He's like, ah, shoot.
46:59He talked up Ben Johnson amazingly. He talked about how he's the greatest.
47:04He's worked with so many great head coaches, and this is the best offense of mine he's ever seen.
47:10I'm sure they can scheme up some stuff. But Case Keenum, this version of him, I agree.
47:15He's just not going to be able to get it done.
47:19I know that the Eagles have looked not great, almost lost, and probably should have lost the Tennessee Titans last week.
47:26But Case Keenum at quarterback is going to be a – I mean, it's just almost impossible.
47:31And Swift seems like, okay, he might be alone.
47:34You know, they're going to need him. Another guy might not be active.
47:38And you're probably still starting him. Yeah, I'm still starting him.
47:42You're going to have tough sledding. The defense with Carter there, they're going to plug the line.
47:47They're going to play a ton of guys in the box.
47:51I don't expect easy gains for Swift. No, it just lines up as a tough game for that offense altogether.
47:57On the other side, you have injuries all over the place.
48:01We lost Dallas Goddard, so he's not a part of the offense.
48:05Eli Stowers is on IR and not going to be a part of this team, it seems like.
48:10So right now, no tight end option. Saquon Barkley was the only running back.
48:15They injured Saquon Barkley. To practice, Shipley and Tank both out on Thursday.
48:19He was limited. The big waiver pickups. It's just like Jonah Coleman.
48:23The old rope-a-dope. It's like Jonah Coleman. The guy that comes in with the opportunity gets hurt immediately.
48:29The starter is back. And then did not practice Thursday, Devontae Smith, the hamstring.
48:33Which, by the way, the hamstring is what bothered him preseason.
48:37I will say. Oh, I didn't see that. He didn't practice Thursday.
48:41I will say it's Thursday, but this is the Monday night game.
48:45Okay. So that's like missing a Wednesday practice. So pay close attention.
48:49But, yes, you need to be aware. What do you guys think of, because so with the tight end situation and it
48:56being the ever-surviving Zach Ertz who just keeps getting jobs, do you want to stash Makai Lemon more?
49:01Yes. Yeah, for sure. I think Makai Lemon is a great stash right now.
49:06I went back and. You watched the tape. I watched the tape.
49:10That convinced me. I watched the tape this last week and obviously bad game.
49:14He didn't do anything. He caught one pass, I believe.
49:18Better than week one. Yes, better than week one.
49:20He was used everywhere. He lined up in the backfield.
49:24He lined up in the slot. He lined up outside.
49:27He was, you know, running routes in all three levels.
49:30He was, you know, leaking out for a screen.
49:33He was working the middle of the field. He was going deep.
49:37He was on the field and running routes and he looked good.
49:41He was getting open. It just, it didn't work.
49:44It didn't, it didn't happen last week. He was in on, I'm seeing, let me double check them on the, oh, that was the fourth quarter.
49:52So Lemon ran 80% of the routes. Oh, he was, he is.
49:56That's full time. Totally out there. More routes than Dontavian Way.
49:59He's a good player. And so to me, they need him a lot right now.
50:04And I believe he will be super involved. He's a, he's a good quality first round rookie wide receiver who's out there getting opportunities.
50:12It just hasn't happened yet. I also feel like Valey has gotten a lot of attention as a viable two.
50:19Well, the season's almost the exact same for Dontavian Wicks.
50:22Oh, Wicks. Absolutely. They're averaging the same points per game.
50:25Targets, target share. Both guys have been good. You need to think of Wicks as a startable player.
50:31Absolutely. Wicks or Downs as the final question? I'll play Wicks.
50:34I'll play Josh Downs. All right. Let's jump into the face-off.
50:38Fantasy face-off presented by PrizePix. I think Jason's made it known, but he is sitting here with the wheel of shame once
50:45again, maybe because of the guy that didn't perform last night.
50:49Hey, I can't lose again with Jordan Love this week, baby.
50:52Because he already played. So unfortunately for you, Jay, you got to spin it again.
50:57Wheel of shame. All righty. Let's spin that wheel.
51:00Yes, yes, yes. You lucky, lucky man. All right, what do we got?
51:04We got Toe Jam, Clown Nose, Egghead. Pauly. Oh, Pauly.
51:07Oh, you want a cracker? Oh, Pauly wants. Oh, no.
51:10Pauly, Mike, do you want to feed the parrot?
51:13Sure, hand me some crackers. Here, let's bust open these saltines here so that you're equipped.
51:19Yeah, I'll take some. I'm probably just going to throw them at him.
51:23I don't mean offensively, Jason. How big is your mouth hole?
51:26Not big enough for a cracker. Oh, we're just going to throw them.
51:30Oh, my Lord. Guys, this is a real problem.
51:33Oh, I missed. Here you go, buddy. Here, have a cracker.
51:37I want some crackers. Do you need to, does someone need to read your line for you?
51:42Probably 100% they have to read my line. I am about 30 seconds from death.
51:47You got some air holes. You're fine. I can breathe.
51:50Have a cracker. I can breathe. I just can't see.
51:54Yeah, just have a cracker. Is this my nose?
51:57Am I eating through my nostril? You are eating through the side mouth.
52:01Yeah, the classic parrot side mouth. Oh, he's eating the cracker.
52:04All right. Start us off here. All right. I'm going.
52:08My green goblin is quarterback Bryce Young. I'm taking 159.5 passing yards.
52:11I'm taking the more. All right. Doing looking good, Jay.
52:15I am. Guys, let's have some fun. Jameis Winston, 17 and a half passing completions.
52:19And I will take the more. Okay. Winston completions?
52:22Yeah. I wonder what Jason's doing. Jay, do you have any idea what you're doing or do we have to figure this out?
52:30I have a couple different ideas. I made several lineups.
52:33Well, you got to go with the one you told him.
52:37Why don't we throw it up on the board?
52:39Yeah, put it up on the board. We'll read it for him.
52:43Jason has Daniel Jones less than 219.5 passing yards.
52:46Oh, you hate her. But that makes sense. I think that the Texans.
52:50This board is saving him today. The Texans' defense, as well as the fact that he hasn't thrown for that so far this season.
52:58Quiet, Parrot. All right. We are at running back.
53:01I am going to go with Blake Corum. I'm taking 46.5 rushing yards.
53:05I'm taking the more. I actually had this one selected early in the week and it didn't move.
53:11So, Blake Corum more than 46 and a half rushing yards.
53:15I like it. What are you doing with your hands?
53:18I'm wiping crumbs and crackers off. That's what you're doing.
53:21Ken Bone Walker. Kenneth Walker. All right. What do you got?
53:2586 and a half rushing yards. No problem. You're taking the more for Kenneth Walker.
53:29No problem for Kenneth Walker. All right. Jason, let's reveal.
53:33Let's have some fun. I've got Cam Scadaboo. Why don't you say what my line is?
53:38It is 57 and a half yards are projected for Cam Scadaboo.
53:42You did good on that one. You're going more, huh?
53:45You did good on that one. Have a cracker.
53:48This is nonsense. Oh, I love it. I will say it looks like that game is going to be very rainy now.
53:55So, that sucks. Oh. I mean. Wait, what? Why would it suck for running the football?
54:00That sucks for Jameis Winston. Yeah, that sucks for Jameis.
54:03It's great for running. All right, guys. I'm not all.
54:07I'm not going to be kind with everybody. You're not going to like this one.
54:11But it's been working so far. Jamar Chase. 77 and a half receiving yards.
54:16I'm taking the less against Pittsburgh. I'm taking the less.
54:19Last week, I managed to get it with Trey McBride on his less.
54:23So, I'm going Jamar Chase. I don't blame you.
54:26He has a cracker that's perched in the mouth.
54:29So, you're telling me the Tennessee Giants game is going to be rainy, huh?
54:34Yeah. Tell me what you're. Yes, that's a bummer for Jameis.
54:37Because then the Jalen Coker news was also a bummer for me.
54:41Because I took the Tedderola-McMillen seven and a half receiving targets.
54:45I went more. Okay. Because I thought I was going to be sneaky and get a banged up Jalen Coker.
54:51Not so sneaky. Why don't we reveal Jason's wide receiver?
54:54Jason's wide receiver is. This is my green goblin.
54:57Oh, I'm in Ross St. Brown, your green goblin.
55:0032 and a half receiving yards? I told you guys before the show.
55:04No. I was like, my green goblin feels like the easiest thing of all time.
55:09Yeah, that's fun. Here you go. For you. Have a treat, Pauly.
55:13What do you got? All right. Let's finish it up here.
55:17Maybe not a surprise. I won't be shocked if I'm not alone with it.
55:21But I'm going Dalton Schultz. 50.5 receiving yards. I'm taking the more.
55:25Yeah. With the doctor. We did okay last week, too, by the way.
55:29We didn't do too bad. Who do you got at your tight end?
55:33We did all right. But my tight end is my green goblin.
55:37I will take the mute. Two and a half receptions.
55:40We will go more. Okay. I like that. Jason, let's reveal it.
55:44I don't like the rest of mine. Jawan. Oh, Jawan.
55:4835 and a half receiving yards. You will take the more.
55:51Yeah, he's averaging 60 right now. I like it.
55:54And I like the game environment. I like it.
55:57Whoa. How do you still have more crackers? I just wanted to go through the whole sleep.
56:02How many crackers do you get? It's really fun to throw stuff at your friends.
