The source considers AJ Brown part of an elite tier alongside Justin Jefferson and Drake London, noting that he is a strong pick to start a draft with wide receiver-wide receiver.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

PositiveBreakout46:00

The source highlights Alec Pierce as a player with upside, preferring him over other options like Brian Thomas Jr. or Josh Downs in certain draft contexts.

Insight page
NegativeValue75:40

The source likes the upside of Alec Pierce in the seventh round, preferring him over current running back options whose values are being pushed too high.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveSleeper50:31

The source identifies Blake Corum as a 'league-winning upside' pick, noting that while Kyron Williams is the starter, Corum would become a major asset if an injury occurred.

Insight page

Bo Nix

PositiveValue56:30

The source highlights Bo Nix as a significant value in single-quarterback leagues, noting he is essentially undrafted despite being a productive rookie.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveValue64:05

The source considers Breece Hall a top-tier running back option, preferring him for his role in a great offense.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveValue70:38

The source identifies Christian Watson as a target they are very interested in at the turn of the sixth round.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeValue53:19

The source expresses vulnerability regarding drafting Colston Loveland in the third round, noting he is far from a guarantee and has a difficult path to matching Trey McBride's production.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeUsage11:54

David Montgomery's status as a potential three-down back is under pressure due to Woody Marks' strong preseason performance. Although Montgomery was rested during the preseason game, which could imply he is the clear starter, the potential for a committee approach remains a concern for his fantasy value.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeValue45:16

The source notes that drafting DK Metcalf in the second round is slightly above his ADP of 76.5, but acknowledges he is a player they have no problem taking despite the reach.

Insight page
NegativeBust47:41

The source expresses skepticism about DK Metcalf's outlook, describing him as a 'broken pick' and questioning if he can be a reliable fantasy asset this season.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveInjury59:27

The source notes that all signs point to George Kittle being ready to play in week one, making him a viable difference-maker.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveSleeper55:42

The source explicitly states they are 'in love' with Isaiah Likely as a late-round tight end target.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveValue28:47

Jamison Williams is considered a screaming value at his current ADP. The hosts are in agreement that he is a target in drafts, especially given the uncertainty surrounding other players.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveValue55:38

The source identifies Javante Williams as an exciting running back option in the third round, specifically favoring him for his role in a great offense.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

NegativeProjection57:16

The source notes that things haven't worked out for Jordan Addison, suggesting he is a player who might be dropped after week one.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeValue45:28

The source likes Jordan Mason but notes that his current ADP is too high, as late-round running backs are being pushed up the board further than they should be.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

PositiveProjection52:32

The source views Justin Herbert as a good quarterback playing in a strong offense, noting that the team is among the favorites for the AFC title.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveValue48:59

The source identifies Justin Jefferson as a crazy value at the nine spot in the first round, noting he should be taken in that range.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeUsage20:43

Keaton Mitchell played a full series in the preseason, which is notable for his role outlook. While there is a belief that Vidal would usurp him on early downs if the starter goes down, Mitchell's usage is being monitored to see if he moves beyond a gadget-only role.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveValue42:25

The source prefers Kenneth Walker over Saquon Barkley, Jahmyr Gibbs, Devon Achane, and Quinshon Judkins at his current ADP, citing higher security and a role as a workhorse on a good team compared to the committee or team-quality concerns surrounding his peers.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveProjection36:56

Malik Nabers was selected in the first round of the mock draft, with the expectation that he will be healthy by Week 1 and perform as a superstar.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveBreakout12:07

Mike Washington, a rookie running back for the Raiders, has shown electric playmaking ability in the preseason. While he may not be a major threat to the starter's role, his potential for big plays makes him a player who should be on the field.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

NegativeDepth Chart56:43

The source notes that Omar Cooper Jr. is working with the second-team offense and has been leapfrogged by Isaiah Williams for the WR3 role.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveSleeper26:57

Parker Washington is generating significant hype, with some bold predictions even labeling him a potential WR1. While the hosts caution against over-excitement, he is clearly a player gaining momentum.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

PositiveValue58:26

The source views Rashee Rice as a very strong pick at the back of the third or top of the fourth round, noting that despite negative practice reports and 'slow' labels, the facts support his fantasy value.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveUsage49:27

While the source has little faith in his long-term success, they acknowledge RJ Harvey will be utilized in the Sean Payton offense and has high potential for explosive, touchdown-dependent weeks.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveValue72:36

The source remains a believer in Rome Odunze, stating he is a very good player and a good pick in the sixth round.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeInjury23:24

Sam LaPorta is dealing with a hip injury, and Dan Campbell has not committed to his availability for Week 1. There is concern that this could be a complication related to his previous surgery, leading to a slight downgrade in his draft ranking.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveProjection53:38

The source likes Stefan Diggs for his volume potential, noting he is a high-caliber player moving into a strong offensive situation despite coming off a torn ACL.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveProjection53:45

The source highlights Trey McBride's record-breaking reception total from the previous season and expects him to remain very good, potentially finishing close to Colston Loveland in production.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveValue68:53

The source calls Tyler Warren being available in the fifth round 'incredible' and states they would never pass up on him at that price.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveUsage10:49

Woody Marks looked impressive in preseason action, potentially threatening David Montgomery's role as a three-down back. While Montgomery has been a committee back for years, Marks' performance suggests he could earn snaps, creating a 'yellow flag' for Montgomery's fantasy value.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout58:46

The source is high on Woody Marks as an arbitrage pick who could potentially usurp David Montgomery in the backfield.

2:48Were we hiding those tickets somewhere? I don't know.
2:51Did they just find the paper tickets someplace? The Mezz was also sold out and then a couple popped up.
2:58Okay. We don't even know why. No idea. But BallersLive.com.
3:01This was yesterday. I don't know if there's still like it.
3:05Ultimately, this is just so fun to, you know, whether you're going to be there or you're going to watch it on Saturday.
3:13This is like the launching of the season. This is like a huge event.

3:34Oh, there's so much mega going on. It's getting more mega by the minute.
3:39Oh, mega minute. Well, yeah, that's like from the Megalow show to the Megalow Bowl.
3:44Yeah. If you want to compete with us and with 20,000 plus fantasy football freaks.
3:49Is that like complimentary? I think it is. Yeah, that's complimentary.
3:53Yeah. Yeah. Megalow Bowl dot com. Yeah. That's what you used to see at the circus.
3:58The Megalow Bowl? No, the freaks. Oh, well, see now.
4:01But now it's not complimentary. Now it's not complimentary.
4:05Yeah, that's no. No. You're like, hey, I'm a fantasy football freak.
4:09That's fine. You're like, hey, you're a nerd. That's fine.
4:12I mean, that was a weird thing because they like opted.
4:16They got paid to be the freak. I do believe you would call it exploited.
4:21But but I mean work was also hard to come by.
4:24I mean, unless they were like not like they did.
4:28They have to do it no matter what. I don't know enough circus lore.
4:32And I really wish I hadn't gone down that rabbit hole in particular.
4:37Well, I mean, if you trust the greatest showman, everything's super cool.
4:41Don't even worry about it. We cannot start that conversation because nobody hates that more than you.
4:47We do have a winner for our B. John Robinson giveaway.
4:50The signed jersey. Sean Jackson will be in touch sending out that autographed jersey that's heading your way.
4:56I think that's that's where I'll cut it off for the start of the show.
5:01We got so much to get to. I mean, I don't want to just talk about every.
5:07I mean, there's just so much going on. We also had preseason, by the way, but we'll talk about that in the news, I guess.
5:15Our quick question of the day. Let's jump in here.
5:19Matt writing in. Do you have time limits per pick when you do a live draft?
5:24I prefer to take my time and enjoy the day, says Matt.
5:28What say you? We in our league of record do not have time limits.
5:33There's live. You know, we get together and there's always trading happening nonstop.
5:37And so when people are working trades and doing deals, sometimes it gets annoying.
5:42I mean, there's certainly sure moments where it's like, OK, already go.
5:46And I know back in the day, I remember when we were doing a dynasty start up draft again.
5:52No time limit. But what we did do is once you hit about two minutes, everyone would just start booing whoever was
6:00on the clock until they made their pick. It kind of worked pretty well.
6:04But yeah, I mean, you want these are to have fun.
6:08And I think if everybody that's in the league is like cool and trying to do their best, you know, it's and
6:16you're there and you're live like you're not going to just take forever.
6:20Yeah, I mean, I think we get a small window every year where we get to draft and we love it and we might as well savor it.
6:29Yep. Sometimes it goes a little long and then then you look public pressure.
6:34You start applying it. That's it. News and notes from around the league.
6:38All right. Did you guys have some takeaways real quick?
6:42Maybe a thought or two from the two preseason games yesterday.
6:45I mean, I had a couple of things that stood out.
6:49It's hard to really know, but it's like Woody Marks looked all right.
6:53That which he looked better than all right. Well, number one, he changed up the number.
6:59And I was like, what? Who's number four? Woody.
7:02Oh, and then did it make it seem like you lost weight?
7:06Of course. To not be double digits. The aesthetics of the the number.
7:10But is he looked good so that maybe that's a.
7:14Like a another like red flag for the David Montgomery pick if Woody Marks actually gets on the field more than you're anticipating.
7:21It's like Mike Washington had another. Yeah. Like miraculous run where he was just completely bottled up, but he kept the feet chugging really good at football.
7:30Oh, oh, oh. Yeah, I don't. Oh, oh. Here's what I don't think Clint Kubiak can do.
7:36I don't think he can. Oh, thank you, Brooks.
7:39Mike Washington running but rookie running back for the Raiders.
7:42Yeah. I mean, you should know him by now because you got two weeks where the highlights but Clint Kubiak's not going
7:50to keep an electric player off the field just because of some stupid loyalty.
7:55He doesn't keep an electric player on the field sometimes.
7:58So, I mean, to me, it's like Mike Washington is probably not a humongous threat to Jinty, but you should put that
8:05guy on the field if he has the potential for those kind of big plays.
8:10It's kind of a, you know, a bit of a thunder lightning aspect to it where I think Mike Washington in select
8:18plays can go out there and try to give them a, you know, a Travion ask long run.
8:24It's been impressive in the preseason real quick on the Woody Marks point.
8:28We want to make David Montgomery a three down back and some of the logic behind that.
8:34We? Well, some of the logic behind it for some is that, well, these guys that have success but aren't high draft
8:41capital picks like Woody Marks, they just fade away.
8:44Well, they don't, like, the other side of it is this guy performed well for them when he was on the field last year.
8:52The coaching staff is the same. Why would they pull him off the field if they think he can be a good compliment?
9:00Not to mention you bring in Montgomery, but Montgomery's been a committee back for the last several years.
9:06So if you want to argue in the pro Woody Marks side, it's like, well, Montgomery functions very well as a committee back.
9:14Let Woody Marks have some snaps. They do have a different skill set.
9:18You know, it could be a threat to kind of like a like the value of David Montgomery.
9:24Yeah. How did David Montgomery do in that preseason game?
9:28He was zero for zero. Yes, that is to me.
9:31It's like it's good that that Woody Marks did well.
9:34And obviously that in order for it to be a committee and to have anyone encroach on Montgomery, they've got to be playing well.
9:42And so a little yellow flag there. But the fact that they didn't play David Montgomery to me says, oh, yeah, that's our dude.
9:50Oh, yeah, he's the clear starter. Go out and, you know, you have to have people play the game.
9:57Yeah. But I mean, people rest more than one player as well.
10:01You know, you've got teams out there where, you know, all the starting wide receivers or whatever are rested and we see the backup.
10:09So that's my only counter argument. I would say some things that stuck out to me.
10:14Oh, strip club. Well, I mean, the strip club is is it's open early, open late.
10:20John Stribbley. He's rookie wide receiver for San Francisco.
10:23I mean, so far through two games, he is targeted a whole lot really early.
10:28It's the highest like target share and use of a rookie wide receiver through two preseason games like of all time.
10:35Yeah. Like, I mean, like any of the greats that we've seen didn't get this much work with the ones.
10:42It's really, really nice to see confirmation of buzz in camp.
10:45You know, when you hear and you hear and you hear, oh, this guy is showing out.
10:51Oh, this guy has been the best in camp.
10:54This and then and then you get the chance to see it.
10:58And it's like, OK, well, he doesn't show up.
11:01It's hard to know. Was this just fluff because beat reporters have to write about something.
11:06But when you hear that drumbeat and then all of a sudden the game starts and it's just like he's highly targeted.
11:14He looks great. He's making tough catches. You want to know what the problem is, though?
11:19Yeah. Before these preseason games, there was like no cover charge to go to the strip club.
11:25Hmm. But now prices are the prices are going up.
11:28I don't think the price of his ADP is going to be able to rise fast enough late enough.
11:35I mean, in some sharp leagues, you'll have someone that will draft him.
11:39You're going to have crazy people. You'll have people that'll that'll grab them, you know, four or five rounds ahead of ADP
11:46because that's probably where he should be. I think it's going to go.
11:51I think it's going to be a trouble. I think especially after next week if he.
11:56Yeah. I mean, if he has a like next Wednesday, Kyle would like to remind people.
12:01Do you remember Marquez Calloway of the New Orleans Saints?
12:05Yes. Who was getting buzz. Huh? Couple big plays in preseason.
12:09And then bang, this dude's like a seventh round pick.
12:12That did definitely happen. And then he was not very good.
12:16No. Um, a Rondae Gadsden. Oh, no, he's on.
12:19He is dead. Oh, I thought you were going to play taps.
12:23Um, yeah, he is. He is a backup man.
12:26I mean, he is playing late into preseason. He's the backup.
12:29Do the backup. He is a backup. A Rondae Gadsden went from sexy new thing to old busted real quick.
12:36It's crazy. I mean, I would take them off your boards.
12:40Yeah. And then off the backup board as well.
12:43I thought it was interesting for the Chargers. Keaton Mitchell played the, um, he like full series.
12:48Um, cause I've had the opinion that should, um, Hampton go down to injury that Keaton Mitchell will stay in his Keaton Mitchell role.
12:57And then Vidal would, Vidal would usurp him on the early downs.
13:01So silky smooth. Yeah. I I'm with Mike. I still believe that's how it would go.
13:06I don't doubt that, but it was just interesting to see it.
13:10It's, it's something I'm paying attention to. Cause I do think that the, the backup there is important and I've been pretty
13:17out on Mitchell, not from a talent or offensive offensive perspective, but just simply, I figure he's going to touch the ball seven or eight times a game.
13:27And you just not going to be a fantasy relevant player if you're doing that.
13:32So if they are willing to use him in more than just a gadgety role, I'm, I'm, I'm just paying attention to it.
13:40Sam and they're saying, and then the, and then the Trey Lance run.
13:44Oh man. Nobody else is paying attention to that Mike, but you, I bet there's some DFSers out there who are paying attention.
13:52It was just like a, Oh yeah. Yeah. You're saying when he ran against the 49ers, his old team for I'm saying
13:59that it was just like a, Oh, it could have been fun, but he wasn't good enough.
14:05Sam Laporta dealing with a hip injury. Dan Campbell won't commit to him being available for week one.
14:11That sucks. I mean, I, I don't know. Like Jason, what does that do to Dan camp or, uh, to Sam Laporta the draft?
14:19It's, it's, it's horrific care. Oh, I care very much.
14:22I mean, this could be something they talked about how he got hit.
14:27And so this could be simply like, you got, you know, a stinger, a bone bruise or whatever.
14:33But there's also, this is a common complication off of the surgery he had last year.
14:38And so it's like, there is a little bit of reason to worry that this is more serious than the, eh, don't worry about it.
14:46He took a hit. And I'm not saying it is that, but to me, is he off your draft board?
14:53If you drop tomorrow, he is, I would just lower him around.
14:57He's not off my draft board, but he, I would probably, if I'm taking Laporta, there are those late round guys that I like taking a shot on.
15:07I might just draft to, um, to make sure I've got someone week one.
15:11I'd probably just wait it out and have him throw on IR and Carnell Tate in uniform for Friday's practice with the Seahawks in uniform is great.
15:20A minute. He's missed three practices. Is that, is that good news?
15:24Yeah. That's like back at practice. Did we finally get some good news in the news section?
15:30Oh, has it been pretty bad? Oh, have you been, have you been here?
15:35I don't know, man. I'm just reporting it. I'm just cronkiting it over here.
15:39I'm saying this is, this is great. We finally get something good.
15:43Uh, okay. Let's go backwards. Uh, Rashad White's hamstring injury.
15:47It's keeping him off the field. No, this is positive, not serious or longterm.
15:52Positive, negative. Yeah. I don't know when you get those reports of it's not too bad, you know, it's like, but he's injured.
15:59It's like Jason will be available to golf tomorrow.
16:02Is that good? Yeah, no, it's not. Um, that's bad.
16:06I mean, I'm happy. Yeah. People behind us. That you'll be there.
16:10Okay. Okay. Quinn, Sean Judkins didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday.
16:13Undisclosed injury, but Todd Monkens said, not worried. Something nagging, nothing big.
16:17And then Parker Washington who missed practice this week.
16:20Yes. I expected a return to practice. Yeah. More goodness.
16:23We like it. The Parker Washington hype has reached a fever pitch.
16:27I saw somebody yesterday. Their bold prediction was he was the wide receiver one on the year.
16:33Oh, okay. Okay, buddy. We're getting, come on now.
16:36We're getting a pretty wiling out. Why do we got to do that?
16:41Like let's, we could be excited for Parker Washington too much, like too much.
16:45You could be really excited for Parker. You're not allowed to be that excited.
16:50That's cause Jamar chase. Puka there. We got JSN.
16:53We got Jamar. We got Puka. We got Parker Washington.
16:56I, it's just. Okay. I mean, that's, that's a spicy.
17:00No, listen, Al, Al points out that my, he thought my spice.
17:04First of all, it's a bold prediction show. Second of all, Aaron Rogers was active when I said the Jets would win the Super Bowl.
17:12All right. Um, the one last thing we didn't touch on it, I think, uh, at all right now, but enough.
17:19On the, on the, on the, on the, on the Laporta news, the way that I'm pushing Laporta back a little bit
17:27more hesitant to draft him, uh, due to the injury.
17:30Jamison Williams right now, I just feel like is a screaming value where he's going and drafts.
17:36I, I, I'm pulling the trigger on. I think you're right on Jamison Williams.
17:40I did. I ever think we'd, Oh, I'd have to stop that.
17:44Uh, did I ever think we'd get to the point that the three of us would simultaneously be on team Jamo?
17:51No, I didn't. What a world. No, I didn't.
17:54And here we are. And Ken Walker. You're up.
17:57You're there. I am there. The, the argument for Ken Walker is not there.
18:02You need to go back to bed and try again that it, it's just too compelling to ignore.
18:08Uh, we'll take a break and then we're going to mock draft.
18:12The fantasy footballers mock draft. All right. Let me explain what we're doing today.
18:17We've done this a couple of times, handful of times in the past few years.
18:22It is a mayhem mock draft. Jason and Mike are going head to head in a 12 team, half PPR mock draft,
18:29one quarterback, two running back, two wide receiver, one side in one flex for bench.
18:34But the way this works is, uh, I will be not only explaining the picks and telling you what's happening in our
18:42mock draft as they make these decisions and think through them.
18:46But I using your hosting power, got some power over here.
18:49I have the ability at a moment's notice, uh, by the way, Jason in the seven spot, Mike in the 12 spot
18:57to inflict a little mayhem on the draft. Each of you will be the victim of three mayhems over the course of the next, uh, what is it?
19:0612 rounds, 11 rounds. One of the mayhems, uh, it will be my choice.
19:11I will get to make the selection for you.
19:14You will think you're going to make a choice and you won't get to, I'll, I'll make that selection.
19:20Whatever you do. Don't mayhem my last round pick, please.
19:23Yeah. I might not save it till then. Well, good.
19:27Cause I mean, that would ruin it. It would ruin all of my plans.
19:32It's unconvincing. Mike is, uh, the other, uh, we have a reach for a player mayhem, which is brand new.
19:38It's going to force you to draft a player 20 spots lower in ADP.
19:43So you're going to have to roast for a player and make the best of it.
19:48And then the last mayhem, I'm going to give the power.
19:52I'm going to transfer it from myself into your hands and you will get to make the pick for your opponent.
19:59So you will get to sub. Yeah. Is that subterfuge ruined there?
20:03Ruined there, ruin their roster. Yeah. And you can decide how generous, kind or unkind you want to be.
20:09Yeah. And we also for DK Metcalf. I don't care where you are.
20:14He'll work a trade to be able to give you Metcalf, but we also have a bunch of our writers and, uh,
20:21our deducers in the draft as well. So all the picks will be made by real people as you guys try to
20:29assemble a team in the face of some mayhem.
20:32So let's start it off. All right. Gibbs goes number one.
20:35Pijon, Chase, Taylor, Pukunakua, and JSN. Jason, you are on the clock.
20:39For me. You will have to pause before you make the selection.
20:43I will tell you what I'm going to do and then you will.
20:48And ask permission to lock it in. So for me, this is a pretty easy choice.
20:53I think at this point it is a difficult choice between two pretty obvious options.
20:58So you could say maybe not. Mayhem. We're there already?
21:02I was going to, here, let me explain. Okay.
21:05I thought, listen. I didn't even hear who he was going to pick.
21:09I hadn't even mentioned who my options were. It doesn't matter.
21:13It doesn't matter because I was like, I'm going to let you both make your first pick is what I thought.
21:20Okay. So that I can then know what you're trying to do.
21:24Then I realized if I use my reach, reach for a player mayhem.
21:28Oh, come on. Right off the jump. Oh my gosh.
21:31It all, what? I feel, I mean. Oh no.
21:34I mean, why not do that right now? But my beautiful Almond Ross St.
21:39Brown. I mean, you're at the 107. This is nasty.
21:43What is the, what is the opinion of the Ducers?
21:46Oh man. I'm getting a lot of. Oh, you're getting some nods.
21:50I'm getting a lot of nods. I didn't want to be that impatient.
21:54All right. That's fine. That's nasty. No, this is fine.
21:58Okay. So how far do I have to pick?
22:0120 picks. This is the. 20 picks. I'm at the seven.
22:04So I got to get the 27th. So you have to take a player later.
22:09ADP is Rasheed Rice. Okay. All right. I got it.
22:13I'm going to take a guy who would be at this.
22:16Yeah. It's, it's a pretty easy. He would be at this pick.
22:20I know where you're going. If he wasn't coming off of an injury and an ACL and it's not a great pick.
22:28I wouldn't take him here, but I'll take Malik neighbors and say, Hey, turns out he's healthy from week one and he's going to be a superstar.
22:37Uh, Malik neighbors at the one Oh seven. I know that is mayhem.
22:41That is. Wow. Right. You have a lot of confidence in neighbors to take him there.
22:47Yeah. Who needs Christian McCaffrey or St. Brown? Oh man.
22:50I, I always look forward to these drafts mostly so that maybe a screenshot of the draft board can hit socials with no, it will, with no content.
22:59It will. And people are going to freak out.
23:02Um, you took neighbors in the first, that's the kids call that engagement for me.
23:07It's super smart. Um, Christian McCaffrey goes at the one to wait after Jason tweeted by saying you won't believe who I took it.
23:16That's right. Um, CMC and James cook off the board.
23:19I'm on Ross. St. Brown does go at one 10.
23:22I don't know why you didn't take him at one Oh seven.
23:26And then CD lamb at one 11 putting the hitman on the clock.
23:31Now Mike has back to back picks. He will be at the turn every single time in this draft.
23:37So, uh, Mike, uh, first round pick. So wide receiver wise, uh, you know, my rankings, it's like Nico, Chris Olave, AJ Brown.
23:45So I'm pretty confident. Uh, how do you feel about Nico right now with the, the Jaden Higgins news with the rumors
23:52that Stroud won $70 million a year? Oh man.
23:55I saw, I, my, when I saw that news that he's looking for $70 million a year, I, I almost had a spit taken.
24:03I hadn't drank anything. I mean, it was like, what are you talking about?
24:08Because that would be the go. That's not the going rate.
24:12That's the best quarterback in the league rate, which way at this point that would be the going rate.
24:18He is not. Oh, I agree. He's just not in the tier.
24:22Like if he was, if he was not the best, but he's like a top five, top six guy.
24:28He is no one, including him can possibly think you're in the elite of the elite.
24:34This ain't Dubai chocolate. This is the Hershey bar.
24:37Yeah. You can't pay the same price. The Texans are in a really bad spot.
24:42So are the Panthers because it's like, okay, let's say Stroud hits free agency.
24:47He does make that money. He makes that money.
24:50No way. Yes, he does. Yeah. He does. Yeah.
24:53I think we got to remember. Yes, he does.
24:56You got to remember the big picture with Stroud.
24:59Like, I mean, Herbert had a horrific playoffs. I mean, Stroud had a horrific, so did Herbert.
25:04Like, Stroud's had a bad two years in a row.
25:08Sort of. I mean, it's been up and down.
25:11There have been games. I don't think he's worth the money.
25:14I don't think he's worth the money. I'm just saying he will get it.
25:19But you're just, you're with franchise quarterbacks. This is Tampa with Baker, too.
25:24You're hamstrung. Like, you, I think he would, but anyways.
25:27So. Wow. Mahomes is 63 a year. He won 70.
25:30Stroud, slow your roll, man. Well, I mean, he's negotiating so he can.
25:35That's the starting point? Yeah. Okay. So this is, you know, ADP wise, it actually, I'm at the turn.
25:41So if there's guys I want, I have to take them.
25:45So the truth is, at this first pick, even with everybody who's on the board, I would be selecting Ken Bone Walker.
25:52I knew you were going to say it. Um, go for it.
25:56Excellent. Ken Walker locked in for Mike. So it, ADP wise, it's early, but I prefer him over Barkley, Gentie, Achan, Hampton.
26:03So it just kind of, it, it is what it is at this point.
26:08I could see this happening when push comes to shove towards real drafts, people making that same decision that they, they see
26:16that there's a lot more security there than there is on some of these other, you know, like the Achan and Gentie
26:23picks where you know, you're on a bad team.
26:26Right. Right. Hmm. You know, you're on a good team here and he's going to get all the work.
26:32And then I would, if the pick is mine, I will be following that up with, I like the, at the turn
26:40here, I want to try and get the two elite running backs.
26:44So I would be drafting. Yeah. Who would you be drafting?
26:47Dang it. Who would you be drafting? Chase Brown.
26:51So Mike, you would think I would want to mayhem you here.
26:55I know. I have no idea what you want to do.
26:58But in fact, I am. Mayhem. Wait, I feel like you said one thing and you did a different thing.
27:05Yeah. I mean, that's all I can do here.
27:08I'm not even drafting. This is my entire experience.
27:11I'm going to give Jason the power here. I'm going to let Jason select your pick.
27:16Man, this is really early for Metcalf. My goodness.
27:19And so we'll, we'll decide what Jason wants to do.
27:23Come on. Metcalf. No, I'm not going Metcalf here.
27:26All right. That's, that's, that's the joke. No, I think it's an easy pick to give you here.
27:32It's slightly above ADP, but I've, I've been saying I have no problem taking this player.
27:37Slightly above ADP. Okay. Cool. You want, that's a, it sounds like a lowercase mayhem.
27:42Yeah. Well, I mean, look, it's my choice. I'm going to be kind.
27:47It is your choice. Best friend. Now I feel like I got to be rude.
27:52I was going, I was going to give him Brock Bowers here.
27:56Oh my gosh. I'm going to force him into seeing what it's like to have no wide receiver going into the third round.
28:03Uh, I think Brock Bowers deserves to go here.
28:06Oh, that's a great reason to make him the pick.
28:10Yeah. So I, I will, I will give you DK Metcalf final answer.
28:14Oh, so. Oh, is this really what we're doing?
28:17Oh, oh man. I can't even find him. Hold on.
28:21Scroll down. There's a search bar. You just type DK Metcalf.
28:24Ah, you really tricked me Jay. Honestly, I was going to give Brock Bowers, but you talked to me.
28:31So the ADP of 76 and a half, you're making me take this guy.
28:35Blame Andy. I was going to give you Brock.
28:38Fine. He thought it was a lowercase mayhem. Yeah.
28:41I'll be honest. I thought I was going to, I was maybe going to use my choice here and give him Jacobs.
28:49Cause I know he's like out on Jacobs. Yeah.
28:52There were plenty of guys that I would have been like, dude, that sucks.
28:56This is, and it still makes sense for a draft.
29:00Looking at your team with Ken Walker and DK Metcalf is, as the first two picks is really a delight.
29:07Cause I think, you know, one guy you love more than life itself.
29:11And the other guy is DK Metcalf. All right.
29:14Whatever. Well, listen, get ready to draft a kicker in my league.
29:18You can't even use them. Just, just remember you have an opponent's choice left to use.
29:23You'll get the chance. I know. And I guess we're going, we're going low.
29:28We, we, uh, we'll just see how you recover.
29:31Uh, Chase Brown, Saquon Barkley, Ashton Jinty, and Devon Achan off the board.
29:35Jason with Malik neighbors in the first round. You are up next.
29:39So sitting here is a, a crazy value on Justin Jefferson.
29:43Um, you know, when you're at that, like nine spot in the first round, you start going, man, this is where you should be taking Justin Jefferson.
29:52I just realized he wasn't drafted. Yeah, but it's, it's all cause Metcalf went in the second.
29:58You took him over Jefferson. Anyways, um, Justin Jefferson, honestly, it might be, that might be the right.
30:04Yeah. Well, I'm not taking Justin Jefferson here either.
30:07If it is my choice, I would actually be going.
30:10And so I'm between two players here. Umari and Hampton.
30:14I absolutely Brown would have been so awesome. I absolutely love Omar and Hampton pairing him with Malik neighbors.
30:20I'd be happy with that. And then if I go wide receiver, I'm actually taking AJ Brown, who I think is, you
30:27know, you've got the, the, the sandwich of AJ Brown and Justin Jefferson and Drake London.
30:33Those three kind of always go real near each other.
30:36And I just look at like, do you want a good quarterback or a bad quarterback?
30:42Do you want a good offense or a bad offense?
30:45And they're all three great players. So here I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to take AJ Brown.
30:52If the choice is mine and start wide receiver, wide receiver.
30:55Yeah. Yeah. That's always smart to do in a mayhem when you might not get to draft a running back for a while.
31:03Uh, AJ Brown and Malik neighbors back to back at the two Oh seven, uh, Brock Bowers, Justin Jefferson.
31:09And by the way, the mayhem mock draft among many things, it's entertaining, but it's also a lesson in, you know, we've
31:17all been there in the draft and there's a panic pick or a mistake, or you don't realize something that you're doing
31:24or a guy gets injured in preseason and you lose an entire, you know, DK Metcalf, your second round pick, whoever you
31:32grabbed, you don't get them this year. So this is a training exercise.
31:36This is an opportunity for these guys to try to rebuild the rosters from the mayhem because it happens in your draft.
31:43Hampton goes at two Oh seven Bowers. I thought you might take him Jay Jefferson, Henry London and Josh Jacobs goes at
31:51the two 12 Colson Loveland starting off the third round above Trey McBride.
31:55I don't mind it at all. Actually, I mind it a lot.
31:59I don't. I'm actually, I'm more on the side now where like, I realized that Colson Loveland, there's a vulnerability to drafting him there.
32:07Like he is, he is far from a guarantee as much as I love him and think he'll do well.
32:14He's far from a guarantee. He has to do so much and he can't, I'm not saying he can't, but he has
32:21to do so much to get to what Trey McBride has.
32:25I just don't see a world. Trey McBride broke the record for receptions.
32:29Yeah, he didn't. And he had what? Three or four games worth of extra routes.
32:34That won't happen again. I mean, but did you see the year before he was really good too?
32:40Oh yeah. He will be really good. Yeah. But I'm saying like, I think it's, I think Loveland and McBride are going
32:48to be very close at the end of the year.
32:51Um, Loveland, Allen, Jeremiah Love goes in the third, Nico Collins, Kyron Williams, and Trey McBride.
32:57Jason, you are back on the clock. Lots of good players here in the middle of the third round.
33:03Uh, George Pickens, another great wide receiver. If I wanted to go start my draft with three wide receivers, which is that
33:10can work if this is, you know, a full PPR three wide receiver league, this is not.
33:16So I probably want to look at the running back position.
33:20You've got guys. Um, I like like Cam Scadaboo that I'm afraid of.
33:24I'm very afraid of right now. Um, with the new coaching staff and bringing in Najee, uh, players I don't like at
33:32ADP, like Travis H and junior talk about him yesterday.
33:35I would be between Brees hall and Javante Williams.
33:38Um, I think both players are exciting for opposite reasons.
33:41Do you want the great offense or do you want the electric player?
33:46I'm going to take the great offense. If it's my pick, I would take Javante Williams running back.
33:52Yeah, go for it. All right. Javante Williams off the board at three Oh seven neighbors, AJ Brown, Javante.
33:58That brings a, what I think is a deal on crystal lava or close to it.
34:03Major deal. Yeah. And then Devante Smith and George Pickens, three straight wide receivers.
34:08Oh man. In the third round. And a booker goes off the board.
34:13Is that who you were targeting? I just, I, I just flipped over to look at my rankings and it was like, holy crap, George in the third.
34:22Yeah, but you almost, almost, almost got there. Even with, uh, Metcalf kicking him back a spot.
34:28It wasn't still out there. Well, my super stack, Mike, you are on the clock here.
34:33You got the back to back picks. Where do you want to go with your third round selection here at three 12?
34:40So the top of the ADP for running backs, you got Brees Hall, Scadaboo.
34:45It, it, so those guys are, are still there, I guess.
34:49Cause it was a full wide receiver run wide receiver.
34:52Rasheed Rice. Still sitting there. Oh man. Is it, let me ask the question.
34:57At a point, like at the back of the third or even the top of the fourth, Rasheed Rice feels like a, a very strong pick.
35:06But so then it's Ted Roa, McMillan, T Higgins, Lad McConkey, Zay Flowers.
35:10So I guess with this first pick, man, I mean, it's double check.
35:14I'll give you a thought process here. You can see if I'm picking, I would, I would take Rice.
35:21Uh, go ahead and grab him. All right. Rice is a real, he may be the most facts versus feeling situation going on in fantasy football where, correct.
35:30We're like Cyrus Allen's getting all the like publicity for being the, oh, Rice is getting publicity for being slow.
35:37And looking bad. Yeah. So it's just like the strapped in practice.
35:41Um, it's yeah, it's just not great. Um, Walker Metcalf, Rashi Rice, Mike to start your draft.
35:47You and going in like, I have Walker. So, I mean, I'm loaded on the chiefs now with two of my first
35:54three picks, but I won't waste your time. Okay.
35:57I won't waste your time. Uh, but I was going to say that, that stack with that value, assuming I didn't have
36:04DK Metcalf with my second round pick, it would feel, I'd feel perfectly fine with it.
36:10Well, in this case, I'm going to let you, uh, I'm going to let you reach for a pick, reach for a pick at the 401.
36:18You're, you're just in a tough spot. I re it's like, if I don't mayhem you now, I got to wait until a long time.
36:27Yeah. So you need to pick somebody, uh, ADP 57 or later, 57 or 37 later.
36:32Darn it. Oh my goodness. Yeah. So you have a, you have some choice.
36:37You've got some good choices there. Yeah. Oh. So Luther Byrden narrowly does not make the cut, but Bayshall tootin.
36:44So Jameson Williams, Adams, Mike Evans are kind of the, um, no tootin.
36:48Well, I'm saying those are the wide receivers. Oh, I gotcha.
36:52No, Bayshall tootin is 100% going to be the pick.
36:55I was, yeah. Bayshall tootin is the pick. Okay.
36:58Yeah. The, uh, the Bayshall tootin sentiment this off season has been mostly positive with a little bit of curiosity around the committee situation.
37:06The, I think tootin himself will be a great player when he's on the field.
37:11It is just a matter of, does he get the high value touches?
37:16Does he catch enough passes? You do have, he has high upside.
37:20I don't know if we mentioned it and I, that LaQuint Allen got hurt.
37:24Uh, who is like LaQuint Allen, you know, in the, what we've been, it's been reported.
37:30He got, uh, he's been taking third down, which we've talked about third downs, not everything, but I would rather have my
37:37running back on the field for three downs for, for three opportunities.
37:41Is he missing the rest of the training camp or something?
37:45I, that's what, let's, let's double check that. I just, I remembered off the top of my head that he did, he got hurt.
37:53Uh, but also the reports on tootin just remain glowing, very strong about the talent of the player, you know, big and very fast.
38:01So I'm just, I'm, I'm still in on tootin accepting the risk that he does come with.
38:07He's not a surefire bet by any means, but he, if he hits, it's going to be incredible.
38:13All right. So Mike, you have two chiefs Walker and rice, and then Metcalf and tootin through four rounds.
38:19Jason, you have neighbors, AJ Brown, Javante Williams after the tootin pick, it was Waddle, HN jr.
38:25McConkie. I like that. And then Garrett Wilson. Goodness gracious.
38:28McConkie and Wilson. How are McConkie and Wilson going at four Oh four, four Oh five.
38:33Well, the, the running backs were really taken, uh, those first couple of rounds.
38:38I, but since all these wide receivers just went on my turn, I was between Javante Williams and Brees Hall.
38:45Obviously here having one running back, two wide receivers.
38:48If the pick was mine, I would select Brees Hall.
38:51What do you think Mike? Hey, I'm not, what do you think?
38:55I'm just an innocent bystander. Yeah. You know what?
38:58I just realized mayhem. I just feel like what, what you did to Mike was so disrespectful.
39:04Mike's not an innocent bystander anymore. I mean, the Metcalf situation.
39:08Look, I'll give the pick to Mike. I'll let Mike make the choice.
39:12Okay. I will. I will weigh in. You will weigh in.
39:16I will weigh in. You it's your choice, Mike.
39:19I'm just saying if there's one player I know from our previous week's discussion, and I'd call it a discussion at the end of the show.
39:28I just think Ramondre looks like a value here.
39:31Ramondre is an excellent. But I mean, there's a lot of value running backs, but it's your pick.
39:37You find your, you find your narrative. I'm going to give.
39:40You were going to take Brees Hall, Jay? I was, yeah.
39:44Take him. Okay. That's- Yeah, no, just go ahead.
39:47Take him. All right. I took him. I took Brees Hall.
39:51Yeah. I'm so confused. Why are you confused? Because I feel like I was just cursed somehow.
39:56I feel like something just happened where- I feel like you just injured Brees Hall.
40:01With your mind. What just happened? What just happened, Mike?
40:05He took the high road, I guess. I got it.
40:08No, he wanted Brees Hall. He's playing mind games.
40:11No. He's playing mind games. I'm on tilt. You wanted Brees Hall.
40:15I let you have Brees Hall. I don't know what's happening.
40:19I am confused as well. Thank you, Mike. He's winning.
40:22He's winning by giving me what I want. I don't like it.
40:26Brees Hall is off the board. Okay. Sort of, to me, on the outside, looking in, feels like maybe a wasted opportunity.
40:34I think what it was is he was saying, we're not playing these crazy shenanigans.
40:39I'm going to rise above that. Is this a guilt?
40:42You want him to sit in the guilt of Metcalf?
40:45No, I just wanted Brees Hall. All right. Well, we continue.
40:49Hey, nice mayhem, Mike. I really appreciate it. Probably a good time for an ad break.
40:55It's a good pick. Thank you. Probably a good time for a break.
40:59Brees Hall went to Jason before the break, which, I mean, really threw you for a loop.
41:05It sure did. Because you wanted Brees Hall. Yeah.
41:08Zay Flowers, Quinshawn Judkins, Cam Scoutaboo, Tett McMillan, Tee Higgins, and Jamison Williams round out the fourth.
41:13Carnell Tate at the 501, Travion at 502, DJ Moore at 503, Montgomery at 504, and we've got Bucky at 505.
41:20There's some names that are just dropping in this draft.
41:24Yes. Yeah. It's interesting. I don't know if you'll let me have this pick.
41:28This is the most absurd pick I can remember in any of our mocks.
41:33Tyler Warren being in the fifth round is incredible.
41:36I've got two running backs, two wide receivers. There's no chance I would ever pass up on Tyler Warren in the fifth.
41:44So if I'm allowed to take it, that would be my pick.
41:48All right. Jason, you... Hmm. Yeah, go ahead. Oh, all right.
41:51Fantastic. Things are working out for me. I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing with that anyways.
41:58Luther Burden goes next. Ramondre Stevenson still on the board, but did not go.
42:03Burden, Swift, McLaurin, Mike Evans. And Mike, you are back on the clock.
42:07There are two mayhems left, one for each of you.
42:10And both are your user's choice. All right. So let me take a look at what's going on here.
42:17ADP, you know, quarterbacks are... It's just the two.
42:20So, I mean, I could have Joe Burrow, who I think I'm very interested in on his upside this year.
42:27I... Sitting here at the turn, running back-wise, it's not inspiring.
42:30And wide receiver-wise, there's some guys who I really like.
42:34And... Yeah, at this point, this is where I would be taking Christian Watson.
42:38Yeah, I mean, I would have let you. Oh.
42:41He's mad at you for... You pulled some weird stuff with that whole let him take the player and waste the mayhem thing.
42:49So you get Woody Marks. Okay. Okay. My team's gonna be good in the end.
42:54Yours is... We're taking you to the shed. To the cleaners.
42:58Putting you down. So, you liked what you saw last night.
43:02Woody Marks is the pick, Mike. I'm out of mayhems.
43:05You get to make your 6-0-1. Okay, Christian Watson.
43:08Christian Watson is the pick. Yeah, that's the fun thing about being at the turn of their...
43:14You know, I'm not gonna use them back-to-back and you're out of them.
43:18So, Christian Watson, you still get him. Jadarian Price is 6-0-2.
43:22Jalen Warren at the 6-0-3. Parker Washington back in action at the 6-0-4.
43:26And Drake May at 6-0-5. I would have been very tempted to grab Drake May there.
43:31I don't like taking two onesies in the first six rounds, but with A.J.
43:36Brown and having Drake May, you know, fall past his ADP, it would have been tempting.
43:41So I'm actually kind of happy that Drake May was selected.
43:45So you're not tempted? Because I am not tempted.
43:48Instead, I'm gonna take a player that I feel like I end up with in almost every mock draft because I still believe.
43:56I still believe that Roma Dunze is a very good player.
44:00I think in that range, that's a good pick.
44:03I am alone on planet Earth. I guess you're lucky that I let you have that pick.
44:08Oh! I forgot you still had one. Yeah, that's okay.
44:12That's okay. Premature selection. Holy quarterback run. A Dunze to Jason and Ja'Corty Kreisky-Meritt, then three quarterbacks in a row.
44:18Daniels, Hurts, Burrow, Devontae Adams, and then Julia takes Romandre.
44:22Oh, he's gone, Jay. Darn. Dajon Stribling. See? There you go.
44:25That's gonna happen. It is gonna happen. All right, we're into the seventh round of the draft right now.
44:32Jason with neighbors, A.J. Brown, Roma Dunze, with Javante and Brees Hall as his running backs.
44:37Tyler Warren as his tight end. Mike's got Ken Walker, Baisal Tootin, and Woody Marks at running backs.
44:43D.K. Metcalf, Rushy Rice, and Watson at wide receiver.
44:46I'm still trying to figure out what his master plan was.
44:50But Pitts, Kraft, Harrison, Tyson, and Dobbins off the board in the seventh round, putting Jason on the clock.
44:56So I've got only two running backs right now.
44:59I would have easily taken J.K. Dobbins had he gotten to me.
45:03He did not. Yeah, just be careful when you select on this one.
45:08Yes, I will not select without asking you first.
45:11Here we're at a situation where the running backs that are on the board and I need a running back, Jonathan Brooks
45:18or Chuba Hubbard, whichever one you prefer there. If you want to take a shot at Rico Dowdle being the starter, there's Tony Pollard who is a starter.
45:28I really like Jordan Mason, but he's usually able to be had much later.
45:32I just don't think the value is there. This is what I was talking about recently of like these rounds running backs.
45:40They're just they're pushed way higher than they should be.
45:43There are still good shots at wide receiver. I would prefer taking like take the shot that Parker Washington isn't better than
45:50Jamar Chase and it's actually Brian Thomas Jr. or Makai Lemon.
45:54I know he's going to, you know, he's dealing with injury get off to a slow start.
46:00Similar with Alec Pierce. I just like the upside of some of those guys.
46:05So if I were to get the pick, I would take Alec Pierce.
46:09He didn't want Alec Pierce, man. You fell right into that.
46:13I mean, it didn't matter what he said there.
46:16I feel like this is the point. Give him Alec Pierce.
46:19This is the point in the draft. Oh no, don't you freaking dare do that.
46:24I can't do that again. Oh, that's such a good idea.
46:28Yeah. Why not? Oh, come on. Mike didn't even get the like, he didn't even make the pick last time.
46:35So I'm going to make it this time. Alec.
46:38Okay. That's a great deal. Actually, I'm just giving it.
46:41It actually worked. That's what I was hoping you do.
46:45You just want all the Colts. You're Alec Pierce over BTJ.
46:48Yeah. You're Alec Pierce over Josh Downs, which is important.
46:52Yeah. I mean, no, I'm really not. I wouldn't have wanted Alec Pierce there.
46:56I was trying to get you to. I probably would have given you Josh Downs about three rounds ahead of schedule.
47:03That probably would have been my pick. Mike's idea was better.
47:07Yeah. He's kind of redeemed himself. So Mike, I'm not going to use any more mayhems on you.
47:13That was nice. That's a really good job. You did.
47:16Alec Pierce off the board at seven oh seven BTJ.
47:20Michael Wilson, Jonathan Brooks, Rico Dowdle. And Mike, you get to.
47:24You got five picks to kind of piece things back together.
47:27There will be no piecing together optimistic way. Rico would have been a.
47:32Oh, no. I thought you would have thought about that.
47:35I would have. That would have been an instant move him to the top of the list.
47:41But going with DK Metcalf and Rico Dowdle, I'm not sure I would build my team that way.
47:47Oh, man. Building a team with two completely broken picks is.
47:50That's not the easiest thing in the world. Metcalf could be OK.
47:54I guess you will. What are you talking about?
47:57You'll have to take a tight end and a quarterback.
48:01What are you talking about? I mean, this is about where Metcalf probably went last year, right?
48:06Yeah. And he's not going to be OK. It's not.
48:10You ever heard not wrong just early? I mean, something like that.
48:14Is that is that there? I saw the DK Metcalf new press pictures, right?
48:19The new. Oh, with the new headshot going with the death stare with the really big eyes.
48:24That is what that is. That looks like somebody put Adam Gase on somewhere.
48:29That's just what it looked like. Oh, I understand.
48:32Adam Gase. Yeah, I remember that. I understand. All right.
48:35Tight end wise. I'm picking up what you're putting down.
48:39Tight end wise. Oh, man. Anybody you love it tight in right now.
48:43George is there. I wondered. I don't even I just like I don't even know what to do with this build here of it's just disgusting.
48:52It's not realistic that you run into a Metcalf situation in the no.
48:56Well, maybe but not with not comboing that with Woody Marks.
49:00I'm going to take Jordan Mason just so I know that I have at least one more running back.
49:06And then. I mean, this team has to hit on a onesie position.
49:11So we're going to take George. That's a good point.
49:14If you have something go a little sideways from your skill position players.
49:18Yeah. Getting an advantage at tight end makes sense.
49:21Laporta goes next. Dak in the eighth here. Jason's almost back on the clock, but Harold Fannin does go and RJ Harvey who look there.
49:30There the sentiment might not be great for RJ Harvey, but we need to be realistic with the fact he's going to be utilized.
49:38He's on an offense that we we'd like Sean Payton's, you know, potential and Harvey late is fine.
49:44Yeah, I'm on the fine. I just have little faith that it's going to actually work out.
49:50He seems like if we had to do a quick question of like players that have like an RB one week out of nowhere or like it like.
49:59Oh, yeah. Number one overall in week one. It's like RJ Harvey's at the top of that.
50:05And on like eight touches. Yeah, it's like two receiving touchdowns and a long play.
50:10And all of a sudden everyone's talking about RJ Harvey in week one.
50:14Yeah. So I'm here on the clock. I've still only got two running backs.
50:19I'm in the eighth round. I need to look at that position.
50:23I'm between. I got to. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, Javante and Brees aren't a bad one to punch, but I have very little depth.
50:31And so who I want to take here is Blake Corum.
50:35I think he is a league winning upside type of pick.
50:39I know I've been Mr. Kyron Williams. I still am.
50:42I think Kyron's a great pick. He's going to be fine for fantasy.
50:46This does not mean that does not mean that that Blake Corum is a bad pick.
50:52He's a good player. He if he does get the opportunity, I'm wrong in the then he's a flex with benefits.
50:59But should something happen injury wise to Kyron Corum will be a league winner.
51:04But I feel like as my running back three, I have to have someone more guaranteed for touches.
51:10So I'm wondering about Kenny Gainwell. But after all that talk, I'm going to I'm going to pull the trigger trigger on Corum.
51:17All right. Corum Godwin Sutton Lemon three wideouts in a row as we circle back around to the ninth.
51:24I thought about Godwin, but then my team as I'm just scraping.
51:28You went for the one team. Yeah, your team.
51:31I don't it's not good. I don't really know what you're thinking, to be honest, through most of this draft, Mike.
51:38I don't feel like this is what your teams normally look like.
51:42No, there was two two picks in particular that you just kind of brain went not so much here.
51:48Not so much here. But right right there here.
51:51I just about the second fourth round. Tony Pollard, Chico Hubbard, Caleb Williams, Quentin Johnston and Concepcion off the board.
51:58As we circle back around, we're heading towards the end of the draft.
52:02Jacoby Myers and Cyrus Allen going in the ninth.
52:05Nice to see that next to Keenan Allen. Jason, you're back on the clock.
52:10We a few picks left here. The last time that I was between two running backs, I got both and I'm going to do it again.
52:19I'm going to grab Gainwell to go with Corum.
52:22So now with Javonte Williams, Brees Hall, Blake Corum and Kenny Gainwell, I feel a little better.
52:27Feel fine with my running backs. There was a part of this draft.
52:32I almost gave you Justin Herbert. Jason is your quarterback.
52:35I probably that was a thought there with the Pierce pick.
52:39I don't feel like Herbert has been drafted by any of us in any draft at all.
52:45This, you know, it's funny. I am a Herbert apologist.
52:48I love him. I love the offense. I find that I'm putting my chips more on Hampton and the running game and the defense versus Herbert.
52:57But he's a good, he's a good quarterback that is, I think, going to be playing for a good offense.
53:03So, well, I mean, they're, they're close to one of the highest, you know, AFC title favored teams right now.
53:10So if things go right, if that season does come together, I mean, I know a lot of Mike, his thoughts this
53:18year is about Cincinnati doing special things because it comes together.
53:21You stay healthy. It feels like a similar narrative for Los Angeles.
53:25Tyler Algier and Trevor Lawrence. Mike, you got three picks left.
53:29One's got to be a quarterback. Kittle was your last pick.
53:33So I'm going to take, I guess it's not for sure volume, but it, it feels like it of a player of
53:40this caliber who, over a thousand yards off of a torn ACL goes to what should be a strong, why a offensive situation.
53:48I'm going to go with Stefan digs. And then I am.
53:51So I got two picks left. I do need a quarterback.
53:55I am scanning through the draft. It appears that you can stack your chiefs.
54:00I could. But so Jason's the only team without a quarterback.
54:04And I know how Jason feels about Jackson dart.
54:07And I'm sure you would have taken him. So I'm going to take him as one hundred.
54:12I have neighbors. I'm praying for the neighbors. Darts.
54:15Like I said, to, to recover anything from this team, I need an upside player.
54:20Andy, you made the bear case for Jackson dart.
54:23I don't, you could take a 10th round Jackson.
54:26I don't disagree that there is a bear case, but there is a true bull case to be made for him.
54:33So I'm going to take him there. Well, that's, those are two good picks actually.
54:38Not that a Stefan digs and Metcalf combo counts as a second rounder, but it's better than nothing.
54:45Chris Rodriguez, Kalen black, Aaron Jones, man, guy off the board.
54:48And I'm sure Jason has a quarterback that he needs to take either here in the 10th or in the 11th.
54:55And he's back on the clock after the gain.
54:58Well, quorum selections. Do we remember? Do you remember?
55:01Do you remember? Do we remember a time that Kyle maybe looked this up where I songs were a non injured NFL
55:09draft first round wide receiver was undrafted in every single like ADP just completely undrafted.
55:14I wouldn't even consider thinking about drafting Omar Cooper jr.
55:17Like, like ever. And it's like, this is for good reason.
55:21Yeah. But it's a first round pick. That's a, well, I mean, you might be tempted.
55:26I will with Gino. I will take a first round wide receiver from the previous year.
55:32I'll draft Matthew golden here. Yeah, that's, that's, that's the right spot.
55:36Yep. That's a, and then a guy I'm just in love with right now, Isaiah likely at 10.
55:42Oh seven. Travis Hunter at 10 Oh eight getting drafted.
55:45Uh, even though no defensive players in this draft, uh, but Papa Josh did take him.
55:50Um, don't you know something we don't Papa Josh?
55:53No. Okay. He, um, is a talented wide receiver, but I did see some stuff about him, him and Brian Thomas jr.
56:01Like, like going back and forth on the reps.
56:04And that was like, is that bad for BTJ or good for Travis Hunter?
56:08Uh, Kincaid Mitchell. That would be good for wide receiver.
56:12Number one. Overall parker, Washington, Michael Pittman, tank bigsby, Pat Bryant, Dylan Sampson, Malik Washington, or rather Mike Washington.
56:18That was not Malik. Uh, Don Tavian wicks sneaky.
56:21Great pick by the Eagles fan there. And then Jonah Coleman and Marshawn Lloyd.
56:26Jason, your final pick is a quarterback. It is a quarterback.
56:30I just brought him up as a value. It's insane that he's basically undrafted in single quarterback leagues.
56:36The quarterback six last year, the quarterback seven is rookie year ads.
56:40Jalen Waddell. Take Bo Nix. Bo Nix. First round wide receiver.
56:43Omar Cooper jr. Is with the second team offense confirming what we've seen in camp that Isaiah Williams has leapfrogged him as the wide receiver three.
56:52That was about a week ago. Um, yeah. Scott or Boston strange Malik Washington this time.
56:58Oh no, it isn't. Yeah. Oh yes. It is.
57:01And honestly, tank bigsby Malik Washington were kind of at the top of my queue of, so I'll just go the other
57:08direction of let's, let's paint the picture. It funny.
57:11We were just talking about this wide receiver at lunch guys of like, he's good.
57:16He's just, he's a good player, but things haven't worked out for Jordan Addison.
57:21Yeah. And maybe, maybe Kyler Murray. He's a, he's a really good player.
57:25Yeah. He's a really good. We're going to take talent.
57:28We're going to take situation and hope that the quarterback.
57:32All right. Your last task is to read back your roster, but the, I will not be doing the requirement is that
57:39you don't, you're not allowed to mention any of the mayhem.
57:43You gotta, you gotta make the case for your full roster and you gotta do it right now.
57:49Jason. Sure. Uh, I took a healthy Malik neighbors in round one to go with AJ Brown, Roma Dunze, Alec Pierce, and Matthew Golden.
57:57My running backs, uh, Javante Williams, Brees Hall, Blake Corum, and Kenny Gainwell.
58:01I've got my onesies of Bo Nix and Tyler Warren.
58:05And I'm pretty happy with my team. Cause you want to Mike, you want to Bruce and then you got Bruce.
58:12Yeah. And I wanted Alec Pierce. And, uh, Mike, uh, what were your, what's your, we, uh, we, uh, we got Ken
58:19anyway, we got Ken bone Walker at the top with the second round pick.
58:24I of course took DK Metcalf. Look, it's one last ride with Aaron Rogers.
58:29Right. Last time we saw Mike McCarthy in charge of an offense, we saw some pretty good stuff.
58:35Oh yeah. From, from CD lamb. One last, one last ride.
58:38Uh, Rasheed Rice, Baisal Tootin, Woody Marks. Look, I'm, I'm pretty much OUT on, on David Montgomery and Woody Marks looks good in preseason.
58:46So why not? Why not? Why not get the, uh, the young explosion, the arbitrage pick that will certainly usurp David Montgomery in his new contract.
58:55Yes. Uh, Christian Watson. I love that pick in the sixth round.
58:59And by the way, if you didn't take marks in the fifth Watson, wouldn't have been such a deal in the six.
59:06That is a good point. You made it even better for me.
59:11Now you can feel better about the, I went up to the register and I just marked it down a couple of seconds.
59:18It's like, Oh, I'm getting a deal. Uh, Jordan Mason, George Kittle, which Hey, all signs point to him having a real shot playing in week one.
59:27Uh, but it would, which that's good enough for me to be a difference maker for you're talking for the season.
59:34Stefan digs, get some volume Jackson dart, maybe a top five potential quarterback.
59:39And then Jordan Addison, because everyone needs a player that they can drop after week one to go pick up the new
59:46waiver wire hotness or another tight end, maybe for your, for your team or that.
59:51Well, kiddo would just go into my IR. That's true.
59:55If you go Tonjes McBasketball, or something like that.
59:58Or Jewwanson. Jewwanson himself. Um, there you go. I would say that that fit the mayhem bill.
60:03Yeah. For one of us. Uh, um, you were about to give him Brock Bowers.
60:08I don't know. I was. You talked me out of it.
60:12That would have been the ultimate mayhem on me is just, you guys just give each other great picks and ruin the draft in the show.
60:21Um, but we got a lot going on. We got, um, some more preseason football tonight and through the weekend.
60:27So I'm sure there will be simultaneously more excitement for certain players and more injuries for certain players.
60:33So we're going to recap all of that stuff on Monday.
60:37Um, we're also doing the UDK for life giveaway on Monday.
60:41I am correct about that. That is the date.
60:44Oh, yeah, that's coming. So it's worth saying like right now, anybody that has the UDK before Monday's live stream, which will
60:51be, I think at four Pacific, maybe three Pacific.
60:54It's four Pacific. It's three Pacific. It is three Pacific.
60:58Six Easter. Yeah. Um, we will be giving at the end of that live stream.
61:03We'll give away a UDK for life. If you've bought the UDK anytime between February, when we pre-ordered or let pre-orders happen
61:10all the way through now, you'll be able to pick that up and be entered to win.
61:16And, uh, there you go. Big shows next week.
61:19My guys are coming next week. And by the way, the mock draft tool is now available on the web for the UDK as well.
61:27All right. Have a good weekend, everyone. We'll see you next time.
