A.J. Brown

PositiveProjection0:18

A.J. Brown is ranked #9 overall but has the ceiling to finish at #1 at wide receiver. He's a steal in drafts and will demand the ball with Drake May, who is a better passer than Jalen Hurts.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:18

A.J. Brown goes to a team with a much higher pass rate than the Eagles and is the clear #1 target, making him a significant upgrade from his Eagles situation where he was WR10 despite missing games.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

PositiveBreakout0:36

Caleb Douglas, a third-round draft pick for Miami, is mentioned as a potential surprise breakout candidate if you want to take a shot on one of their rookies, but carries significant risk given the team's offensive struggles.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeInjury0:36

Chris Bell, a third-round draft pick for Miami, tore his knee and is unlikely to be a reliable fantasy option given his injury history and the team's offensive struggles.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue0:28

DJ Moore reunites with Joe Brady (his former OC in Carolina) and is available in the sixth round, offering upside if he becomes the alpha target with 150 targets, but carries risk given his age (29, year 8) and recent poor performance in Chicago.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveSleeper0:32

Dalton Kincaid is a sleeper tight end candidate available in double-digit rounds (round 11+) after recovering from knee injuries; he led all tight ends in yards per route run (2.73) last year and reports feeling the best he's felt in years.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection0:09

Drake May was QB3 in fantasy last year but faces regression risk due to a harder schedule, Super Bowl hangover, and a young team. He's projected to finish around QB5 range this year despite the addition of A.J. Brown.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:10

Drake May's addition of A.J. Brown is a huge deal for his fantasy prospects, as he did not have an alpha receiver to throw to last year and made it work anyway.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup0:13

Drake May's playoff performance was concerning: 58% completion percentage, 6 TDs and 4 INTs, and 21 sacks across three games against elite defenses (Denver, Seattle, Houston, Chargers), suggesting vulnerability against top-tier competition.

Insight page

Greg Dulcich

PositiveSleeper0:43

Greg Dulcich is a great sleeper pick for Miami with 2.38 yards per route run efficiency on low snaps; he's likely to be the number one receiving option outside of Achane and offers upside despite the team's offensive struggles.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

PositiveProjection0:20

Hunter Henry was TE6 last year with 768 yards and 7 TDs, but the addition of A.J. Brown and Romeo Dobbs reduces his red zone opportunities, making him less attractive than Dallas Goddert in late-round tight end selections.

Insight page

Jalen Tolbert

NegativeProjection0:36

Jalen Tolbert is considered mediocre at best as one of Miami's new wide receiver additions and is unlikely to provide meaningful fantasy value.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection0:26

James Cook is described as a true workhorse in the same breath as elite running backs like B. Johns and CMC, with 11 games of 80-plus rushing yards (most in the NFL) and high floor/ceiling despite TD regression from 16 to 12 rushing TDs.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveProjection0:25

Josh Allen is described as a solid pick at any point, with historical data showing teams that drafted him made the playoffs regardless of round (second, third, or later), making him a reliable fantasy asset.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveSleeper0:40

Malik Washington is described as a complete and total dart throw at the very end of late drafts for the Dolphins, with minimal expectations given the team's depleted receiving corps.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveSleeper0:38

Malik Willis is a QB stash candidate late in drafts due to his mobility; he ran for 41, 73, and 60 yards in his three starts with Green Bay, demonstrating significant rushing upside.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveRole0:15

Ramondre Stevenson was a solid player for the Patriots last year and could remain the starter for at least the first quarter of the season, with a range of outcomes including being the goal-line back and primary passing-down back.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveSleeper0:19

Romeo Dobbs is a capable wide receiver going to an MVP-caliber quarterback in Drake May and is barely being drafted as a WR4, making him a potential league contributor by week 8 with enough production to be a WR3 or flex play.

Insight page

Skyler Bell

PositiveRole0:25

Skylar Bell was drafted by Buffalo in the fourth round, worth mentioning as part of their offensive additions alongside DJ Moore.

Insight page

Terrace Marshall

NegativeProjection0:36

Terrace Marshall Jr. is considered mediocre at best as one of Miami's new wide receiver additions and is unlikely to provide meaningful fantasy value.

Insight page

Trayvon Henderson

PositiveBreakout0:14

Travion Henderson is a sensational player who, if given the keys to the backfield, will produce great fantasy results. He had 1,100 total yards and 10 touchdowns as a rookie on 46% of snaps, suggesting significant upside if he takes over the timeshare.

Insight page
NegativeValue0:15

Henderson's ADP in the fourth round carries significant risk given that Ramondre Stevenson was the starter for the first quarter of the season and could remain the primary back, making the ADP gap between the two problematic.

Insight page

Tutu Atwell

NegativeProjection0:36

Tutu Atwell is considered mediocre at best as one of Miami's new wide receiver additions and is unlikely to provide meaningful fantasy value.

1:11That's true. Revin' up at the exact same time.
1:14It's a Saturday show, boys. Oh! Lawns aren't ready for this.
1:18July 11th, the death of millions of blades of grass.
1:21All happening right now. I guess they don't actually die.
1:25They're just getting a little trim. They're getting a trim.
1:28A little haircut. That's a good point. It doesn't hurt, right?
1:32The grass? I don't know. I don't think. I'm going to say I don't think it hurts.
1:38No. I think I'm going to go on record and say I think it does.
1:43Okay. Hmm. Yeah. Well, we're not botanists. We're fantasy football analysts, and we welcome you into the show.
1:49We have a divisional breakdown episode today getting into the AFC East.
1:53We have covered the North and the South on the previous two episodes.
1:57So if you want breakdowns of those. This better be the East.
2:02This is the East. Okay. You wanted to see North, South, East, West?
2:06Yes. Yeah. If you're going to go in that order.
2:09This was important to you? Yes. Well, we are covering the AFC East, Mike.
2:14You can be comfortable with that. Get into some mailbag if we have extra time.
2:19A reminder, the Ultimate Draft Kit with the Draft Analyzer available now at ultimatedraftkit.com.
2:24We are adding a mock draft tool to the UDK this year.
2:28That should be live within the next couple of weeks on mobile, and then we'll expand to the web.
2:35But this is very exciting. It's an opportunity for you to jump in there, run as many mock drafts as you want,
2:42invite your friends who have the UDK to go mock draft with you, get a feel for where players are going, and
2:50over time you'll be able to, you know, that's why you mock, to try different strategies out, to see how it feels.
2:57Somebody had the quick question, or it was in the mailbag, maybe on the footcast of, where do you like to draft this year?
3:05Do you like to draft at the top, at the turn?
3:09You know, we all shared our opinions, but that's based on mock drafting.
3:13It's the top. It's not always, though. No, not every year.
3:17But that's our opinion right now. Yeah, for sure.
3:20So the mock draft tool coming to the Ultimate Draft Kit that already has all of our player projections, all of our
3:28rankings, our sleepers, breakouts, busts, values, and the draft analyzer and a lot more.
3:32100-player profile videos. Yeah, 100-plus player profile videos. You better watch them.
3:36Ultimate Draft Kit.com. Takes a lot of time. That's true.
3:40You can follow us on Instagram, Instagram.com slash Fantasy Footballers, on X at the FF Ballers.
3:45Papa Josh, you're on the microphone, right? I am.
3:48Do you know how many people are in the free Fantasy Footballers Discord right now?
3:53I do indeed. Give me one second to switch over there.
3:57And the number is 66,800. All right, that's not bad.
4:01Yeah, he pulled that one out. Yeah, I think he saved it.
4:0566,000 fantasy football players. I don't think you know what that phrase means.
4:09Mike is going to take issue with it? No, he doesn't.
4:13If you're like, hey, do you know this? And you're like, yeah, let me look it up real quick.
4:19That's not. He did it so fast, though, that it did feel like.
4:24No, no, no, no. Like it was on the tip of his tongue.
4:28No, it was not. BallersDiscord.com. It's a free community.
4:31A free fantasy football players that you can join.
4:3466,000 strong, Papa Josh? Don't forget the 800. 66,800.
4:37He could be 801. Oh, Jay, did you hear we're almost at?
4:41It's going to be 70? Oh, nice. All right, we're going to jump in right away here on the AFC East breakdown.
4:49And we'll kick it off with a couple of teams that have a lot of fantasy value for all of us fantasy football players.
4:57Let's get divisional. I mean, if I seem slightly off, Al, who are you laughing back there?
5:03I mean, we are fresh off the golf course.
5:06I mean, we are odorous. You guys are. I am covered in a mix of sunscreen and dirt.
5:12My hands feel like disgusting. I mean, we came in.
5:16We didn't even want. We're just here and ready to go.
5:19We thought it would go faster. Mike wanted to get this shot.
5:23Not a wee. Some of us were here grinding.
5:26Rise and grind. Mike didn't golf with us. I don't know why.
5:31But. What was the temperature? It was disgusting degrees.
5:34It was nice for the first hole. It was disgusting degrees outside.
5:38It was nice. No, it was. It was baloney.
5:41No, no, no. Look, I can't take heat. Relative.
5:44No, it was actually nice out this morning. And then it turned into hellfire.
5:49Just saying. So it was nice. We did leave the house at like 515 in the morning.
5:54Yeah. It was pretty nice at that point. It was nice for a period of.
5:59An hour. 15 minutes. An hour. Yeah, not that long.
6:03But anyways, we're just dehydrated. That's all I'm saying.
6:06Let's kick it off. Our breakdowns. We're looking at general overviews for these teams.
6:11Offseason changes. Coaches, players, rookies. How their offenses could function this year.
6:15Some of our takes on the win totals. We predict every division.
6:19A good prediction for the AFC East would be the Bills or the Patriots.
6:24Based on the last 17 years. Patriots won every single year from 2009 to 2019.
6:29Bills won the last five. And then last year the Patriots took it back.
6:33Even this last year. So we were looking at our predictions of how we did last year, this year.
6:40And immediately we looked because we all picked the Bills to win last year.
6:45And it wasn't highlighted as a win. And we were like, wait.
6:49Yeah, the Bills, they won. Yeah, we got that one.
6:52Oh, no. No, we didn't. The Super Bowl losers.
6:55Oh. Patriots, sorry. I mean. Could have called them like.
6:59Visitors. Super Bowl. Participants? Yeah, okay. Runner-ups. Yeah. This was the division with the largest point differential gap between second and third place teams.
7:07So the Bills were plus 116. The Dolphins were minus 77.
7:11And in third place. Oh, don't stop there. You should read the Jets one.
7:15Where were the Jets? Minus 203. Oh, boy. The haves and the have-nots.
7:20But we'll start with the Patriots. Wow. Patriots are going to be very, very interesting to project this year for fantasy.
7:27They were looking at a nine and a half game win total last year from Vegas.
7:32They went seven and three and one score games.
7:35They were the healthiest team in the NFL, so they had the fewest adjusted games lost.
7:41Their projected win total this year. You want to hear this?
7:45Mm-hmm. They won 14 games. They added A.J. Brown.
7:48Vegas has them at nine and a half wins.
7:51That is- It makes sense. I mean, you can say it's disrespectful, but it is mathematical.
7:56Last year, their schedule was cake. It was so easy that 14 wins was not- they're not like an average 14-win team.
8:04They went to the Super Bowl, so you're like, well, yes, they are.
8:08Yeah, but- Spencer Rattler, Cam Ward, Dylan Gabriel, Joe Flacco, Tyler Huntley, Brady Cook, Quinn Ewers.
8:14Yeah. Those were quarterbacks that they faced and defeated last year.
8:17And, you know, good on them. Not everyone- You're supposed to do that.
8:22You're supposed to win those games. So I don't want to do anything disrespectful here, but the schedule's going to get a lot harder.
8:30There's also the Super Bowl hangover for teams that lose the Super Bowl.
8:34It is tough the next season. So those two things combined with the fact that this is a young team, okay?
8:41So, you know, it was a magical season. You add that with all the off-season drama, Vrabel and all that.
8:48Like, this is going to be a difficult, you know, really test-your-metal season, I think, for the Patriots.
8:54Well, they start the year, just so you understand, the first six weeks, they go on the road against Seattle to start the year.
9:03That's probably the hardest matchup you could have in week one.
9:06Then they play Pittsburgh at home. Then they go on the road two more weeks at Jacksonville, at Buffalo.
9:13So the first four weeks of the year, they're underdogs in three games.
9:17So, yeah, they'll be put to the test immediately with a much more difficult start to the year.
9:23Then they get to play the Raiders and Jets at home, and that will maybe medicate the bad situation.
9:30But the first question for fantasy worries about Drake May, worries about regression for Drake May.
9:35This is a quarterback that was number one in completion percentage, number one in yards per attempt, number one in passer rating.
9:43Right now, he's at the fourth highest pass success rate of any quarterback through the first two years, behind Mahomes, Purdy, Dan Marino.
9:51Do you think he regresses for fantasy purposes? You'd love to say that A.J.
9:55Brown, Romeo Dobbs, those additions should ensure that he doesn't, but it's certainly a risk when you have different defenses you're playing.
10:03Yeah, a more difficult schedule. I think Drake May proved, I mean, he was the MVP runner-up.
10:09He proved he's elite. I think he's very, very good.
10:12Will he regress? And, you know, last year he was the quarterback three in fantasy.
10:17I think some of that happened to be gifted with some injuries.
10:21Obviously, Lamar was injured. Burrow was injured. So, you know, I feel like he was more like a quarterback five, and I
10:29think that's in the range of outcomes here. A.J.
10:32Brown coming is a huge deal for Drake May.
10:35He did not really have an alpha to throw to last year.
10:39He made it work. I think year two for Travion Henderson out of the backfield as well.
10:45You know, Ramon is really good catching the ball, but I do think that they will transition a little bit more to
10:52Travion in the passing game, and that will be more explosive.
10:56So, you know, I think more of the same for Drake May, but the same won't feel as good this year as
11:03it did last year because other players won't be injured.
11:07Sometimes I wonder when an alpha comes in here that is as demanding, vocal, as A.J.
11:12Brown. Sometimes I wonder if it serves the team or it doesn't when you had...
11:17I think it does early. Well, you had an offense that was very, like, the ball could go anywhere, right?
11:24It was Booty, it was Hooper, and it was Hunter Henry and Diggs, and it was spread around a lot.
11:31But it also means you have, you know, a great touchdown opportunity on a regular basis with A.J.
11:37Brown. I think mostly my opinion, projecting it in fantasy, I've pretty much played it like Drake May is going to roll it back.
11:45Like he's going to run it back with very similar output from a fantasy perspective.
11:50You know, they are a team, we've talked a lot about this, they're a great defense.
11:56And Vrabel's going to have a great defense. They were number two in points per game, number eight in yards per game.
12:03Something to keep in mind in some of those matchups.
12:07But, Mike, where did you project Drake May to finish?
12:10I still have him being a very solid fantasy player.
12:14But there's just, we know historically that he had a 6.3 touchdown percentage.
12:18Like, when you're up that high, it generally comes down by like a point or so, if not more.
12:24So, there's, it's not a, I don't think he has a flawless path to being a superstar for fantasy purposes.
12:31But, he looks like the real deal. Like the film stuff, his numbers are great.
12:36If you locked in Jaden Daniels or Drake May and you had to lock him in for the whole year?
12:43Man, if I had to lock in all year, probably Jaden.
12:47But, Jaden just is, Jaden's a higher ceiling but higher, or lower floor to me of things, you know.
12:53We saw it, the bottom could fall out. Like, do you guys make anything of, competition-wise, you get to the playoffs, you
13:01know, theoretically you're playing the best of the best.
13:04Drake May completed 58% of his passes in the playoffs.
13:07He had a, he threw six touchdowns and four interceptions.
13:11Like, those aren't prolific numbers. He took 21 sacks.
13:14Like, playoffs were not perfect for Drake May. I'm trying to remember all the matchups.
13:19I know they played Denver. I know they played Seattle.
13:22Did they play Houston? Remind me. Yeah, they beat the crap out of Houston.
13:27Isn't that the Stroud game? Kyle? Well, someone beat the crap out of Houston and was the Stroud game.
13:34That's for sure. I mean, that was, they went out.
13:37I'm just trying to think about, like, what would explain away some of that.
13:42And if you played three of the best four defenses in football, might have something to do with it.
13:48Well, that's the point of bringing that up. Chargers, Houston, Denver, Seattle.
13:52Yeah. Yeah. I'm bringing it up of, you're like, okay, well, if the, they're playing a more difficult schedule, you're going to have fewer cupcake games.
14:01Mm-hmm. Yeah. So is that something that people should be factoring in more?
14:05Or are we just, you know, whatever, wheels up, Drake May looks great.
14:10And the addition of A.J. Brown, can that eliminate some of the concerns with the schedule?
14:15Yeah, I think if I had a choice, I'd probably go with, uh, It's gonna be May.
14:21Oh, okay. Yeah, I don't know. Okay. I don't know.
14:25I've always hated that drop, so I tried to use it for my own, like, purposes.
14:30It didn't feel right at all. That's a late April.
14:33That's a late April drop. Yeah. I don't know.
14:36I like Drake May. I think the backfield will be, I think Mike would agree, it's gonna be frustrating.
14:43The backfield, I love hearing Jason being bullish on Travo.
14:46Like, I think he is a sensational player. I think that should he be given the keys, great things will happen for
14:54the team, great things will happen for fantasy football.
14:57But as we know, running back decisions are, that's who's on the field.
15:01And the coach puts the players on the field.
15:04And Vrabel, like, last year where you had the Henderson breakout happen, where you're getting all the production, it's incredible.
15:11And the fact that Ramondre goes right back in.
15:14And Ramondre was good. Like, this is not a, you know, I have to tell the truth of Ramondre's season.
15:21He was a solid player for the Patriots, and he was solid for fantasy football.
15:26The fact that they went back to him immediately, just that worries me for the ADP gap of, I'm not saying Henderson
15:34can't pay off at a fourth round price. But the risk you're taking of him in the fourth and Ramondre in the
15:41seventh when Ramondre is probably the starter for the first quarter of the season, at least.
15:47I don't know how everyone's going to break the pendulum down a little bit differently.
15:52But there's a, it's not like guaranteed that Henderson has a better fantasy year than Ramondre.
15:57And that says something for the fantasy decision making of that.
16:01The upside is tremendous with Travion, but there's no guarantee he's the better running back in this backfield, production-wise.
16:07That's definitely true. There is, in the range of outcomes, if they, you know, neither guy gets injured, Ramondre could be the
16:15goal lineback, could still be on the field more in passing situations and be the better pick.
16:21They do like him. Yeah, for sure. And he's under contract for at least, you know, he's under contract, I think, three
16:28more years, probably two on the team. However, I am very bullish on Henderson.
16:33He is the more explosive player. They spent the 38th pick on him, right?
16:38Then he goes out in his rookie season, gets 1,100 total yards and 10 touchdowns as a rookie.
16:44If you look at what happened on the snaps, so he started so slow.
16:49I mean, this was all Ramondre. They brought this rookie along slow.
16:53Then an injury forced him on the field, and he dominated.
16:56He dominated during that stretch. Ramondre comes back, and what we remember now is what happened in the playoffs where Ramondre took over.
17:04But the rest of the season, Ramondre was getting 11 opportunities a game when Ramondre and Trevo were there to Travion Henderson's 14 a game.
17:13Now, how do you explain that in the playoffs?
17:16We just talked about this. They played really good, unbelievable defenses where the offense was controlled and more game management.
17:23This was a smart decision by Vrabel. They got to the Super Bowl, but I think that it will flip.
17:29Last year on the total, this 1,100 yards and 10 touchdowns that we saw from Trevion, that was on 46% of the snaps.
17:37I think it's going to be 60-40 the other way.
17:41No, I don't agree with that at all. And that's absolutely fine.
17:45You don't have to agree with that. That's the bet.
17:48But if it is that, if it's 60-40 Trevo, Trevo will pay off on the fourth.
17:54Yes, that I agree with. And so you just have to decide for yourself, do you think Ramondre will be the leader of this timeshare?
18:02If so, Trevo's a terrible pick. A.J. Brown has arrived.
18:05We'll talk about the wide receiver room. I think that A.J.
18:09Brown is in the realm of players that can finish at number one at the position.
18:15We always ask that question, like, what's the true ceiling of the wide receiver position?
18:20Our consensus rank on A.J. Brown is number nine overall.
18:23But I would answer that question if you asked me, like, could he finish at one?
18:29I would say yes. I would say yes, too.
18:32I think it's going to be a brilliant year for him.
18:35It might be isolated to one New England year this year, you know, but I think he is a steal in drafts.
18:43He will demand the ball. He always has. Last year, people were down on him, down on the Eagles offense.
18:50Jalen Hurts wasn't that good at passing the ball.
18:53A.J. Brown missed a couple games. He was the wide receiver 10.
18:57Now you go to a team that has a pass rate way higher than the Eagles.
19:02They paid to get him. He is the guy.
19:05He's got, you know, a better quarterback situation throwing the ball.
19:09Drake May is a better passer than Jalen Hurts.
19:12I am all in on A.J. Brown. I'm completely with you.
19:16I think that where he's going right now in drafts is a great spot to take him.
19:22Second receiving target on this team, is it one of the other wide receivers or is it Hunter Henry?
19:28No, it's Dobbs. I mean, you know, long live the reign of Romeo Dobbs being the Patriots wide receiver one.
19:35We had a sweet couple months there. But lost, I think lost in the A.J.
19:40Brown stuff is that they gave Romeo Dobbs a good contract.
19:44And Romeo Dobbs is, I'm not saying he's an elite player, but he is a very capable wide receiver.
19:50Like, he was a stabilizer in Green Bay for years.
19:54You think eight weeks into the year he'll be on fancy rosters?
19:58I do. Okay. That's why I want to bring him up of that.
20:02He's, look, he's barely being drafted as a wide receiver four.
20:06And he's going to an MVP caliber quarterback that will have a ton of statistics.
20:11There's going to be, like, there's enough production to go to have it be a second player.
20:17Does Dobbs get enough consolidated targets? Like, is he up in the low 20s of the target share?
20:23Because if he is, then he's going to help rosters.
20:26Maybe he's not a league-winning type of player, but there's very, very few of those guys each and every year.
20:33So you need auxiliary players who can come in and be your wide receiver three or your flex play.
20:40And I think that Romeo Dobbs is in contention to be able to do something like that.
20:45Stephon Diggs was 21% of the targets. He's gone.
20:49Antonio Gibson's gone. And Austin Hooper is gone. I will just bring up Hunter Henry as the, I think the two most
20:56boring, sneaky tight ends you could play with the last pick of your draft are Hunter Henry and Dallas Goddard.
21:03Yeah. And Henry just, I mean, it blew my mind to look.
21:07He was the tight end six on the year with 768 yards and seven touchdowns.
21:12Just worth saying. I mean, Henry, he had a big role in the red zone.
21:17A.J. Brown will come in and be more of a role in the red zone.
21:22In the red zone. But Henry can give you a game here, there, in the right matchup when the opponent defense is bad against tight ends.
21:31In the red zone, he saw the first read 40% of the time.
21:35He's a good player. He's just solid. He's just solid.
21:39He's a good vet. He's a touchdown threat where a lot of these late tight ends are just, they're not going to
21:46have production and they won't have touchdowns either. I do think that the addition of A.J.
21:52Brown and Dobbs makes me less bullish. Like, he has always, for the last several years, been one of those, I'm at the last round of my draft.
22:01I need a tight end. I've always been fine taking Hunter Henry.
22:05He's probably not going to make that cut. I'd rather have Dallas Goddard in that situation.
22:11You know, ironically, A.J. Brown leaves one team, goes to the other.
22:15I'll take the one where the targets are vacated.
22:18We'll take a break and we'll jump into the Bills.

23:02Coverage is subject to policy terms and limits. No, they didn't win the division, but they did go 12-5 and have a successful year once again.
23:11The Vegas win total last year was 11-1.5. They won 12 games.
23:15Yeah, 11-1.5. They won 12 games. There were 5-3 in one score games.
23:19They only had 5 games against teams with a winning record.
23:23So to bring that up, you've got to be fair with every team in this division.
23:28And they were very healthy on the offensive side of the ball.
23:33Not a lot of injuries there. Very injured on the defensive side of the ball.
23:38Their Vegas projected win total has gone down from 11-1.5 to 10-1.5 going into this year.
23:43Third in points per game, third in yards per game.
23:47The big move this offseason, a big change at head coach.
23:50Joe Brady, well, maybe not a big change, but a change, right?
23:54Yeah, it's still a change. McDermott is gone. Culture has changed.
23:58No more 9-11 analogies in the locker room. Oh, my gosh.
24:02Oh, man. That was real. It's funny because it became a meme and it was joked about.
24:08I wasn't going to bring it up, but that's all I think about.
24:12But it's like, it actually happened. Yeah, yeah. Well, Joe Brady's taken over.
24:16Pete Carmichael's the OC, but Joe Brady was. The OC and we'll have his fingerprints all over the.
24:23Like, that's good for fantasy for us. It is.
24:26When you look at, you know, the two main players on Buffalo that fantasy players care about.
24:31James Cook. Josh Allen. Those are the identity of the team.
24:35And when the head coach is the former offensive coordinator, you know that there's the stability.
24:41The expectation that this is going to be that run first team.
24:45The James Cook is going to have a huge role once again.
24:49The headline making move. DJ Moore acquired via trade.
24:52No more Brandon Cooks, Gabe Davis, Curtis Samuel on the, you know, the rotating offensive side of the football at wide receiver.
24:59But they also drafted Skylar Bell in the fourth round, worth mentioning.
25:03Are you expecting more of the same from this offense?
25:07And how early is too early for Josh Allen in a fantasy draft?
25:11I think Josh Allen is a good pick, like, period.
25:15So, if you take him, if you want to take him at the 2-3 turn, that's earlier than I would want to take him.
25:23That's earlier than he usually goes. I don't think it's a bad pick because Josh Allen has been so solid.
25:30I saw some statistics on the percentage of teams that make the playoffs with Josh Allen over the last several years.
25:37And it is an enormous number. And he's been drafted all over the place.
25:42A couple years ago, he was drafted even higher.
25:45He was a second-round pick. And people who drafted him made the playoffs.
25:49When he was a third-round pick, people who drafted him, they made the playoffs.
25:54It's like one of those, we're late-round quarterback, we want the value.
25:58That's all great, and that's a good strategy as well.
26:01But Josh Allen's so solid, I just don't think it's ever a bad pick to draft a guy that's going to score
26:09a ton of fantasy points in a game to score fantasy points.
26:13It's a pretty good strategy. Is James Cook a guaranteed first-round pick for you?
26:18He said basically double birds to the TD regression.
26:21Well, I mean, he could say that, but we got it.
26:24We did? The touchdown regression was massive. Two years ago, he had 207 carries and 16 rushing touchdowns.
26:31He had 12 rushing touchdowns this year on 309 carries.
26:34So the touchdown percentage. Yeah, no, we got it, guys.
26:37We smashed it. We got it. But he managed to find a way through.
26:42But then he got 100 more carries. He's one of the true workhorses.
26:47And he needs to be thought of that way in the same breath as the great ones out there.
26:53The B. Johns and CMCs, I think. The thought is just hitting me now.
26:58Because we were talking about last year, the conversation, there was a conversation of, like, okay, well, James Cook, 200 carries, like
27:05237 the year before, and then they give him the huge contract.
27:09And you're like, this only makes sense if you give him a bunch more volume, which he did, and he thrived.
27:17And I'm bringing this, just a quick callback of, like, the Alec Pierce discussion of when you give a player that level
27:24of contract, you better use that player. Or you look real, real dumb.
27:28And they did. And James Cook came through. And he's, yeah, he's an easy, safe, high upside, high floor pick.
27:3511 games of 80-plus rushing yards was the most in the NFL.
27:39Barely caught the football, but didn't need to. I mean, you felt it last year.
27:44If you look across your matchup and you saw James Cook on the other side, you went, oh, no.
27:51Well, he had breakaway runs, too. It was like, he was very explosive.
27:55That combo was great. DJ Moore gets reunited with Joe Brady, who was his offensive coordinator in Carolina.
28:01That's one thing. Like, I'm going to try to talk more positively about DJ Moore.
28:07Because I want to try and, because we've been.
28:10Make the case for both sides. We've been pretty negative on DJ Moore.
28:14Because, look, the case for that is, it's very easy.
28:17He's 29, year eight in the NFL. He was bad last year.
28:22He was bad last year. He's changing teams at a late point into his career.
28:27That's not generally something that works out. But he is going back to a coach who he's played for.
28:33And Joe Brady, in March, guys, let's see if you agree with this quote.
28:38Joe Brady said, five years, it's a long time.
28:41But the player I saw on the 2025 tape wasn't any different.
28:45I didn't see any drop off. Then he wasn't watching much.
28:49Well, I think I understand it because the DJ Moore the last couple of years in Chicago has been a DJ Moore
28:56that makes a just out of nowhere outstanding great play.
29:00Just wasn't a focal point of the offense. When he was with Joe Brady in Carolina, 1,100 yards, four touchdowns, 1,100 yards, four touchdowns.
29:08If they want to make him that. I guess I'm just trying to say, like, if you could give a three-sentence summary
29:15of the bull case for DJ Moore. Because at this point.
29:19That's also easy. In the sixth round, you're not paying the Diggs arrives in Buffalo price.
29:25Well, that was actually super cheap, too. Yeah, because we didn't like John Shalem.
29:29Stefan Diggs was like a six-round pick. Yes. It was a very similar situation.
29:34The question is whether or not DJ Moore still got it.
29:38If he does, the range of outcomes, like we said with A.J.
29:42Brown, what is the best-case scenario? The best-case scenario is he is their alpha target.
29:47He has 150 targets. If he has 150 targets, then you're talking about a guy who, from Josh Allen, he's a wide receiver one.
29:55You know, I don't think if he's up near 30% target share, he's falling to a wide receiver two.
30:02So he is not a terrible pick if you want to take a bet on the Bills offense.
30:08I won't be doing that. I think I just have too much of odds on him not being necessary for this offense, having his good games, being involved.
30:17But, I mean, we're going back multiple years now where Josh Allen's been great, the offense has been great, and they didn't
30:25really need one wide receiver to carry the load.
30:28Yeah, I mean, we've been excited about Shakir Coleman, Cooks, Curtis Samuel before, like Amari Cooper when he arrived.
30:34I think we have been excited about a bunch of names that we think could become the next Diggs.
30:41But no one was good enough. So that's the question.
30:44And I think most of us would say we don't know if DJ Moore has that enough.
30:50I mean, it's just like the Chiefs. No one's been good enough.
30:54Dalton Kincaid, Adam to the list, by the way, of players with high expectations that have never become a focal point.
31:01For DJ Moore, this was, I recall talking about the post-mortem looking back on Stephon Diggs.
31:07I was wrong the Stephon Diggs year because I was so out on Josh Allen making the best turnaround a quarterback in the NFL has ever seen.
31:16Got that one wrong. But looking back at it was the risk was baked into the ADP.
31:22You know, there's other guys who are in the sixth round that I, so there is an opportunity cost.
31:28There's players in that area that I really love.
31:31But it's like if you're in on DJ Moore at all, it's, he's wide receiver 32 and he finished as the wide receiver 33 last year.
31:40Like, so it's all just inherently in there that you are, you're, you're not, it's not like a, AJ Brown's a second round pick.
31:48Right. Yeah, you, you, you don't have to pay a lot.
31:52For the player who, he has to be the number one wide receiver.
31:56I feel like we had the nicest conversation we've definitely ever had about DJ Moore this offseason, which was nice of us.
32:04He got to, like, so they're favored. You got to look at what, where could you be wrong in your analysis?
32:11They're favored in five of their first six games, but I will say there's some tough defensive matchups in there.
32:18They start against Houston in Houston. They play New England in week four.
32:22They play against the Rams in that defense in Los Angeles in week five.
32:27So I think it's a pretty level start to the year, even though they're favored in five of six.
32:33One last follow up there, Dalton Kincaid. Yes, that's, I didn't want you to move on before talking about Kincaid.
32:40Yeah, I'm not going to move on without talking about him.
32:44I think it's an important conversation for this year because he is very affordable.
32:49I think he's going to be in double-digit rounds.
32:52No one really wants him. He's just been viewed mostly as a bust for his career, even though he was very exciting coming in.
33:00He's just dealt with injuries. His lingering, his PCL, I think, that he really struggled with all last year.
33:06Oh, boy, camstring, camstring, knee. It all came from this knee injury.
33:11He kept getting multiple opinions whether he needs surgery or not.
33:14Last year, he finished as the tight end 15, okay?
33:18He played 27% of the Bills' snaps, offensive snaps.
33:21I mean, he was really not on the field.
33:24Even in the games that he played, it was only 38% of snaps.
33:28I just did a little research report on his current health, and he took multiple doctor visits.
33:34All of them said he didn't need surgery, so he rehabbed.
33:38I think it's the same doctors from last year.
33:41No, no, no. What I was saying earlier was actually from this offseason.
33:45The most recent reports is talking from him that he feels the best he's felt in forever.
33:51He hasn't even thought about it. The knee is no longer an issue for him right now.
33:57Not that it can't come up again, but it's great because all last year, it was an issue for him every single game the whole year.
34:06That's why his snaps were so limited. But on a yards per route run basis, he was the best.
34:12He led all tight ends. So if he's actually healthy in what we've seen the last couple years is- A little sleeper candidate?
34:20Yeah, a little sleeper candidate tight end. If you're in the end of your draft and you don't have one, I would,
34:27in double digits, round 11, I'd pull the trigger.
34:31All right, let's take a break, and we'll come back with the Dolphins.

35:26All right, guys, I know you've been dying to talk about the Dolphins.
35:30Their projected win total last year was 8.5. They went 7-10.
35:34Their projected win total this year is an abysmal 4.5.
35:37When you look at the players subtracted from this team, it is just reading the offense to you.
35:43Players subtractions. Tua, Tyreek, Waddle, Westbrook Akine, Darren Waller.
35:46Quarterbacks and pass catchers. Let's take Mike McDaniel as well.
35:50Yeah, and your head coach. Your offensive genius of a head coach.
35:54The offense was nuked. They are playing for 2027.
35:57Obviously, they brought in... Haefeli. Yep. They brought in the Packers.
36:01All entirely. Like the Packers backup guys, they became the new starters here, including their backup quarterback.
36:06Their player additions list includes Jalen Tolbert, Tutu Atwell, and Terrace Marshall Jr., all three of which are considered mediocre at best.
36:14They added Caleb Douglas in the draft in the third round, Chris Bell in the third round.
36:20It's hard to have high expectations of those guys, but if you want...
36:24Like, you know what you have in Tolbert, Atwell, and Terrace Marshall.
36:28Which is nothing. Is that what you mean? Yeah, and Malik Washington.
36:32And so, you look at this ensemble of options, and you say, well, there's just nobody I would pick.
36:39Maybe one of them will help Malik be relevant, but I can't pick one.
36:44I had Kyle look into... Because they are an NFL team.
36:47They will throw... Yeah, they have to play four quarters.
36:51They have to play four quarters every game. So, the fact that right now no one is being drafted a wide receiver
36:58in the top 36, it's like, well, one of them has to emerge, right?
37:03So, I had him look at teams that were healthy.
37:06Because every year you've got... Maybe the best wide receiver on the team was wide receiver 60 because the healthiest wide receiver played eight games.
37:15There's plenty of examples in history where a healthy wide receiver has absolutely nothing of relevance.
37:20And this is a very predictable one of those.
37:23If you want to take a shot on one of their rookies, Caleb Douglas or Chris Bell, to have a surprise breakout, okay.
37:31But I'm not going to. Yeah, it's just a tough sell on the offensive side of the football outside of...
37:38Devon HN. Which, you know, on one hand, you're like, well, this offense is going to struggle.
37:44They're not projected to win a lot of games.
37:47That's not good for running backs. Well, the offense struggled.
37:50They didn't win a bunch of games. And he was there last year.
37:55That's it, you know. But this is the... They're set up for Warren Sharpe's second toughest schedule of 2026.
38:01They're coming off a year where I just deleted their five best offensive players.
38:06And they were 25th in yards per game last year.
38:09It's hard to make a strong case for them winning a lot of football games.
38:14Hopefully, they can win some fantasy football games with some spot starts from Malik Willis, who is a very mobile quarterback.
38:22That is a superpower. I think it's a QB stash late in drafts.
38:26You can look to Green Bay, the scramble rate, 14.5%.
38:29He ran for 41, 73, and 60 yards in his three starts.
38:34That's incredible. I mean, if you do that over the course of a year, it's big numbers.
38:39But it is going to feel a little bit like Malik and A-Chan against the world, I think, at least in my view.
38:47So where are you at with A-Chan? Because he is an early second-round pick.
38:52So you're talking... This is a foundation of your roster.
38:55You can't miss... Like, you don't want to miss on your second-round pick.
39:00It puts you in a huge hole. He's a great player.
39:03Last year, 40% of his production came from receiving.
39:07And that's not what historically Malik has done. We have a different quarterback, which, you know, mobile quarterbacks, you lose a couple targets here and there.
39:15You also don't have... When you have a quarterback like Tua, you know that you're going to get a bunch of checkdowns.
39:23It's like the Phillip Rivers. You have certain quarterbacks who this is what they do.
39:28It's part of their M.O. I don't have fear.
39:31Okay. And that's your... I have him ranked very high.
39:34And part of it is... Go look at the game log last year.
39:39They had games go sideways all over the place.
39:42This was the most consistent running back in football.
39:45You know what his consistency ranking is? 100%. 100%.
39:48So every game he played... What's funny about that is our metric for that, for a running back, is you want to hit 10.5 fantasy points a game.
39:58He did that 100% of his games. His lowest score all year was 11.3.
40:02I mean, he was basically 15 points a game every single game.
40:06Unfathomably consistent last year. There's just some things that he possesses, in my opinion, that make him more invulnerable to bad games.
40:14One, was the receiving work? Yes. Maybe that is a variable that is going to be a problem.
40:20Two, it's the big plays. It's the long runs.
40:23The 49-yard touchdown. The 46-yard touchdown. The 59-yard touchdown.
40:26The 48-yard touchdown. 39, 29, 23. When you can make a big play...
40:31I mean, they lost games 33-8. He's a running back 10 in that game.
40:35I mean... I am... 45-20. He's a running back 15.
40:39I know that it's not going to stay this good, but I just believe in the player's talent.
40:45And then the other part of that conversation is...
40:48I don't like Atlanta's offense, but I like Bichon.
40:51The... We went over the wide receivers. I think Malik Washington is at least interesting as a complete and total dart throw
40:59at the very, very end of late drafts. But last year, you lose Tyreek, but you had Waddle for the majority of the season.
41:07You have a true number one wide receiver that the teams have to worry about.
41:12If they have no one at the pass-catching position that you have to worry about, and you can completely focus on H-N...
41:19I definitely worry about H-N. I think the talent is totally something you can bet on.
41:25The opportunity is something you can bet on. When those two things come together, I'm not going to say that he's going to be a bust.
41:34But where he is going in drafts feels like he's going ahead of Gentian, Hampton, and most ADP right now.
41:40I would not... I would prefer those other guys personally.
41:44Yeah, I would take them all the way. Right, and so he might stay there.
41:49I do think... Last year, he had 12 total touchdowns.
41:52I couldn't possibly project him to get 12 total touchdowns on this offense.
41:57I can't possibly project him to receive the same targets that he had with Tua, with Malik.
42:03So it's not going to be as good as last year.
42:06It's not. But he is super talented, and he will get so much more.
42:11He had 12 the year before as well. Yeah.
42:14Well, they were a good offense two years ago.
42:17Two straight years. I just think the challenge for you is going to be like this team, how many total touchdowns do they score on the year?
42:26Exactly. Right, but if it's 30, try giving them to somebody else.
42:30That's the hard part in the projection thing is this offense, they paid him.
42:35I mean, he got the big check this offseason.
42:38They're going to be a weird team. They are going to be a very, very weird team to see if we can find fantasy value.
42:47You can't look at an offense that's projected for four and a half wins and not say there's not some risk with
42:54HN, even though he's been that good. But I do think he's in the same tier to me, talent-wise, as Gibbs, B.
43:02John, those guys. And Greg Dulcich, for goodness sake.
43:05Okay, I was going to bring it up. Did you want to say something else on HN?
43:11I mentioned Dalton Kincaid was at 2.73 yards per route run, hyper-efficient.
43:15Part of that is the low snaps. Greg Dulcich, on very low snaps as well, 2.38 yards per route run.
43:22And then they bring him back. He is their best receiver outside of HN.
43:26Unless Chris Bell. Like, Chris Bell was supposed to be a first-round wide receiver who tore his knee, right?
43:33Yeah. His knee just tore it right off. Made Dan Campbell proud.
43:37Oh! Oh! Whoa! That drop did not work very well the last time.
43:41Was it last applied to Le'Veon? I think so.
43:44That was a long time ago. That's a bell toll for the player who...
43:49I'm staring at some old drops here, guys. You know how many folders I had to go in for that?
43:56Yeah. That's in there. You had to go to the Le'Veon bell folder.
44:00That's in there with... Also... I believe you've met my fitness consigliere, Michel.
44:05Sony Michel? Sony Michel. Yeah, that's some old... Oh.
44:08There's some old stuff. Some old stuff in there.
44:11AJ Dillon, all right. Well, we got to get some new drops here.
44:15I think Dulcich is a great sleeper pick. I do.
44:19I agree. You're going to be coming from behind in almost every game you play.
44:24They are... The first five games of the year, road game against the Raiders, road game against the Niners, Kansas City, Minnesota,
44:31Cincinnati, LLLL potential to start the year. Well, it's like profile-wise, super athletic.
44:36I was dressed up as him for Halloween. He's a super athletic player that matters at the tight end position.
44:43And very strong chance he's the number one receiving option.
44:46Other than the running back. You know, odds are very, very against him.
44:50But these types of players, they pop up. Yep.
44:53No, I think that he is one of the more interesting names on a team that seems mostly uninteresting.
45:00Speaking of the Jets, 3-14 last year with a projected win total of 5.5.
45:05Oh, man. 3-5 in one score games. You guys remember the dance?
45:09Yeah. By... By coach. Oh, and then they lost the game?
45:12And then they lost the game. Oh, my God.
45:16The vibes are better this year than they were last year.
45:19The Jets were tight or trailing in 93% of their snaps.
45:23They lost by 11.5 points a game. Their schedule looks much better, but the projected win total is the same.
45:305.5. Brutal division that nobody's won in how many?
45:3317 years? Is that what I said? Other than the Patriots and Bills?
45:37Yeah. The Jets haven't won in forever. Is it?
45:40So the Jets have not been... Their last playoff appearance was 2010, which that puts them...
45:46They're like the longest wait. The Falcons are 2017.
45:49Like, 2010 is incredible. That's 16 years. That seems impossible.
45:52And yet... What? Get it together, man. They didn't make the playoffs with Favre?
45:57Well, I mean, the last appearance, I think, was...
46:00Wow. Sanchez in 2010, right? Sanchez was after Favre.
46:03We're old, right? I guess so, man. Holy moly.
46:06When did Brett Favre play? The Jets' last win was Sanchez.
46:10Yeah. January 16th, 2011. Yeah, Favre was 2008. Oh, wow.
46:139-7. Sanchez threw three touchdown passes to beat the Patriots 28-21.
46:17Crazy. Oh, Mangini was the coach. You guys remember Eric Mangini?
46:21It was Rex with Sanchez. Yes, it was. Yeah, yeah.
46:24But, man. But I do remember Eric Mangini. Yeah.
46:27Well, what a great intro for this team. He was great, and then he just took park carburetors and went to work as a mechanic, I assume.
46:37Just based on looks. Oh, my gosh. I didn't see Mangini slander coming up on today's episode.
46:42He looked like a mechanic to you? You can't pass up your opportunity to dunk on Eric Mangini.
46:48That's double A, MCO. Offensive rank, 29th in points per game, 29th in yards per game.
46:54Defensive rank, 31st in points per game. Aaron Glenn did such a good job that he did the worst job possible.
47:01And then he fell on his sword by cutting everyone else with his sword.
47:06It was him. It was you. It was you.
47:09It was you. He blamed everyone. He said someone call an ambulance, but not for me.
47:14I mean, dude. How about the 64-year-old? He massacred his coach.
47:18He massacred them. That's your fault. You suck. Get out of here.
47:22You're fired. Heads had to roll after last year, and it wasn't going to be his.
47:28I can't believe he kept his job. I can't believe this guy got another job.
47:33Frank Reich, 64 years old, the oldest OC in the NFL.
47:36The last two times we saw him at the NFL level, I thought the league had passed him by.
47:43But there are those out there that look at Reich and say, look, this is an NFL-level offensive coordinator that should be
47:50able to put his players in the best position to succeed.
47:54Do you know who those people are, Andy? Jets fans?
47:58No. Oh. These are people who have had Garrett Wilson on their dynasty roster the whole time.
48:03Yeah. And each and every year, we have to look at the idiotic moves that the Jets have made, and we have
48:11to convince ourselves that our superstar wide receiver will actually get a chance.
48:15When 64-year-old Frank Reich last had opportunities, he had the lowest motion rate on dropbacks of any play caller.
48:22Because motion, that's not a big part of the game today, right?
48:26Mike, how does that make you feel? Motion and play action?
48:30Your eyes rolled into the back of your head.
48:33Look, I'm not a NFL coach. I am not a college or high school coach.
48:38But you pay attention to what the good coaches do.
48:41But I know what the good offenses do. They do a lot of play action because we've got to establish the run.
48:49No, you don't. You just have to fake it.
48:52It just works. And so does motion. Like, these things matter.
48:55You have to pay attention to what's going on in the NFL.
48:59Kyle, give me the top. I'll give you a second.
49:03But give me the top three teams in motion rate.
49:06I'm just curious. That will be fascinating. Give me those numbers.
49:10I bet it won't take you long to find them.
49:13New additions. Kenyon Sadiq, 16th pick in the draft.
49:17Omar Cooper Jr., 30th pick in the draft. Two offensive weapons.
49:20Two first-rounders. This is how bad the Jets are.
49:23That a super athletic, exciting tight end. A first-round wide receiver off a national championship team.
49:29And we're like, meh. I have little to no interest.
49:32I think that this offense is interesting. I am interested in the Jets offense.
49:37Now, I have little to no interest in those two specific rookies because of how they're going to be used in the offense as a whole.
49:46But this defense is not good. Geno Smith can at least accumulate stats.
49:50We don't mind interceptions, you know, in fantasy football.
49:53Jameis was king of providing us a lot of passing yards.
49:57I do think with the weapons they have, with Brees Hall, with Garrett Wilson, the new additions of these two rookies, their offensive line is a little better.
50:07The offense should vary, you know, maybe not to the level that the Cardinals at the second half of last year is
50:14a terrible team, but just that could actually go and score.
50:18I see potential for the Jets offense this year in fantasy.
50:22Like, I'm pretty in on Garrett Wilson. Are you in on Brees?
50:26And Brees, it depends on where he is in the draft.
50:29That really – I like Brees at a point, but I think he has limited upside.
50:353-10? Do you like him at 3-10? RB-15 off the board?
50:39Yeah. The 3-4 turn, I think that's an appropriate spot.
50:42Message for Frank Reich. The top five coaches, offensive coordinators in motion rate.
50:46Since 2021. Mike McDaniel. Okay. Great offense. Considered an offensive genius.
50:50Ben Johnson. Oh, yeah. KOC. Mm-hmm. Last year sucked, but – But overall.
50:55But overall, great offense. Mostly winning teams here. Shane Steichen.
50:58Turned it around. And Sean McVay. Hmm. Hmm. Hmm.
51:01I don't want to do it. I don't want him to move.
51:05Put your feet in the concrete. I'll tell you who would run zero motion.
51:10Kyle Borginoni. Oh, really? Yeah. Because he's like, oh, it's what the good people do?
51:15I won't do it. Oh, a contrarian take. Yeah.
51:18Just firing such a Kyle. Just Frank Reich, handshake, Kyle Borginoni.
51:22Right? I bring that up because – He was the Frank Reich of our company.
51:27I bring that up because Meowson Taylor remains on the New York Jets.
51:31Very famous second-round pick, Mason Taylor, who we discussed at length.
51:35And I may have referred to him – Was that nickname of the year?
51:40It had to be. It had to have been.
51:43Because, like, I brought that up because I'm like, I watched Mason Taylor.
51:47I don't see any dog. This dude doesn't – he catches and he falls down.
51:52That plays out over the course of an NFL season where he fails to force a single missed tackle.
51:59This is – and he's a featured part of the office.
52:03He's not trying to. I bring the – Obviously.
52:06I bring this up because now Kyle's like, I'm rooting for Mason Taylor.
52:10And I'm like, what are you doing? With Sadiq arriving?
52:14Yeah, I don't know. It's just Kyle. Now he's an underdog?
52:17It's just Kyle. The case for Breeze Hall, look, more scoring opportunities would go a long way.
52:23It was fourth in explosive run rate on a bad, bad, bad, bad team.
52:2847th in touchdown rate. It's not too different than the can HN survive in Miami to the can Breeze Hall survive in New York.
52:36They're going to just be key cogs of the offense.
52:39Both got paid this offseason. Both teams committed to them as their main running back.
52:44So, look, I like my running backs to be on winning teams.
52:49But everybody's got a call. Or featured. Or featured.
52:52Or a featured back that can catch the football.
52:55And Breeze can do that. Yeah, he can. But, I mean – I'm not worried about Braylon Allen or Isaiah Davis.
53:02I'm not worried about them as players. I am worried about their coach making stupid decisions and being like – Which one?
53:09The head coach or Reich? Both, honestly. But, I mean, even last year it didn't work out.
53:15We didn't get to see exactly how it was going to shake out because Braylon Allen got hurt very quickly.
53:22But Glenn continually talked about, I want to use three running backs.
53:26I want to use three. And he still has said that.
53:30Yeah, that's annoying. I agree. And when you get into the game, we always say you can have your plan, but then
53:37eventually you've got to get your best players out there.
53:41But it is a concern. But it is also – it's factored into the ADP of Breeze.
53:46Now, Sadiq, we've – during the draft process, we were not as bullish on Sadiq.
53:52But he is not by any means a bad prospect.
53:55This is a really good prospect, super athlete. I feel like I was very neutral.
54:00You were not a fan of his tape compared to, like, Stowers.
54:04Well, I was not a fan of his tape compared to his projected and official draft capital.
54:10Yeah, because he was like a top ten potential pick.
54:13Yeah, exactly. And you're like, you didn't think that belonged to him.
54:17Correct. But I do think he is very talented.
54:20He's got a 95th percentile Felix score. So this is someone that needs to be remembered and looked at.
54:27If you want to take a shot in – I don't know where he's going in drafts right now, but this would
54:34be – I mean, not drafted, basically. Yeah, so then your last round, if you want to take a swing on this.
54:42Geno obviously has thrown to the tight ends. Frank Reich has had a lot of success with tight ends in some of his systems.
54:50They spent a lot of capital on him. So it's weird for me to be, you know, saying don't forget about the rookie tight end.
54:59It's a little off-brand, but you shouldn't. You should be off.
55:02You should be off-brand. I'm going to jump in real quick.
55:06Mason Taylor did not win nickname of the year.
55:09Oh. Okay. This guy did. Oh. But Mason Taylor did take home a footy for a new category.
55:15Oh, that's right. The Meow Man of the Year.
55:18Meow. So he took that home. Yeah, he was the only one nominated, but he did take it home.
55:25Here's what I will say. He ran unopposed. It's a small distraction, but in the vein of Sadiq, the rookie tight ends.
55:32The news right now out of Philadelphia is that Stowers is firmly third on the tight end.
55:38Oh, yeah. I didn't know Stowers is not on the radar.
55:42It's one of the reasons why we've talked so much.
55:45We know Devontae Smith is going to be heavily involved in that offense, but my goodness, Dallas Goddard is going to be involved in that offense.
55:54Yeah. It's not a name anybody wants to be excited about, but Stowers is not a part of the picture, and Goddard
56:02has always benefited when one of those wide receivers was out, and it's just worth throwing out there.
56:08No, I love that. We can talk about it again when we get to the NFC.
56:13Garrett Wilson, where are you with his ADP? Right now, I'm seeing wide receiver 17 around there in the middle of the fourth.
56:21I adore it. Okay. Oh. Yeah. I'm pretty bullish.
56:24I have Garrett Wilson right now as my wide receiver 12, so he sneaks in at a wide receiver one.
56:31I believe that this offense and defense combination. Nothing you can say to take me away.
56:36The offense-defense combination and the passing game upgrade over the quarterback of last year.
56:41Nobody likes Geno more than you this year. Yeah, I mean- You are so into Geno.
56:46It's not that I think Geno is good. Mm-hmm.
56:50It's that Geno is Jacoby Brissett. He is totally fine to throw- That's what you're hoping for.
56:55That's what I expect. Okay, I'm just saying like Geno was not Jacoby Brissett when he played football last year.
57:02Yeah, but Geno has support- He was too rash.
57:05Like he supported enough- You know, look at how he targeted Gentty.
57:09Obviously, Brock Bowers when he was playing. When Brock was playing, he was great.
57:14Yeah. He has a very limited sample there. But the statement- But the Jets believe in him, and I don't know if that's a good sign.
57:23Every single year, you're like, oh, well, he's playing with the best quarterback that he's been able to play with.
57:30For Garrett? Yeah. Well, guys like this, that often comes up.
57:33Justin Fields. Geno is more capable for fantasy production than Justin Fields was.
57:38Yeah, because he's going to throw him more. Yes.
57:41That's what I mean. And Garrett Wilson, to start last year, it's lost to all of time.
57:47Garrett Wilson was awesome for fantasy football. There was tons of tons of garbage.
57:52Do you guys realize something special? I realize so many special things.
57:56The New York Jets or the Tennessee Titans are starting the year 1-0.
58:00No. Nice. Because they're facing each other in week one.
58:03So the Titans or the Jets- Where is it?
58:06Tennessee? It's in Tennessee. So the Jets are underdogs against Tennessee.
58:10Then they play Green Bay at home. Then Detroit.
58:13Then Chicago. Then Cleveland. Then New England. Oh! Oh!
58:16Mercy! They could be 2-4. How do you think Geno's- They could be 0-6.
58:21How many- I want to put this down on the board somewhere.
58:25Six weeks into the year, I want the interception total with that gauntlet of a schedule for Geno Smith.
58:32Okay. And let me- Let's inform this a little bit because we didn't talk about him too much.
58:38Geno Smith, the newly minted quarterback of the New York Jets last year.
58:42I got my number. And the year with, just for, what did I say, the first six weeks?
58:48Mm-hmm. His first six weeks last year, if you put them out over the year, he would have been on pace for 28 picks and 51 sacks taken.
58:58Nice. Okay. So four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten interceptions in his first six last year.
59:04Give me the number. I'm going to say eight through his first six.
59:08Yeah, I'll go under 10. I'll say six. Okay.
59:11Give me seven. Give me seven picks. For Geno Smith.
59:15There you go. There's your Jets. Is this? What do you got?
59:19I'm trying to look up the Jets total passing yards as an offense last year, and I'm seeing 2,300.
59:25That can't be- Well, that can't be right. Do you remember who led the New York Jets in receiving yards?
59:32No. Garrett Wilson. Oh, but he didn't play the whole year.
59:36He played seven games. Oh, my gosh. 395 yards.
59:39Justin Fields, Tyrod Taylor, Brady Cook. Did he throw for 2,385 yards?
59:432,385. 2,385. 2,385. What? Yeah, Geno's an upgrade. Yeah.
59:46He is. Geno can beat that. He's an upgrade.
59:49That doesn't mean he's good. No, exactly. Geno's not good.
59:52Low 3,000s. I mean, Geno was on pace for 3,500 last year.
59:56There you go. Threw for 4,300 the year prior.
59:59If he gets 3,000. Things are looking up, guys.
60:03I mean, 2,300 for an NFL franchise. They get 17 games.
60:06What? That's insane. Garrett Wilson. This will be fun.
60:09No way to close the show. You ready? Quarterbacks Garrett Wilson has caught a touchdown from it.
60:15You ready for this? This is exactly what we're talking about.
60:19Tyrod Taylor. One time. Pro bowler. Tim Boyle. Mike White.
60:22Zach Wilson. He was awesome with Mike White, actually.
60:25By the way, this is- Top three in the NFL draft pick.
60:29Yeah. Zach Wilson threw two to him. Joe Flacco.
60:33Aaron Rodgers threw six. Yeah. He played with Strevler.
60:36He played with Trevor Simeon. He played with Brady Cook.
60:39Is he cursed? What have they done? What have they done to my boy?
60:44Just giving him a lot to handle. All right.
60:47Divisional predictions. I like this one. I know mine.
60:50I'm going Buffalo, New England, the Jets, and Miami.
60:53That is exactly what mine is as well. I will go Buffalo, New England, Miami, Jets.
60:58Okay. There you go. We conquered the incredible AFC East and all those four juggernauts.
61:03Just New York. Get serious. Like, have a heart-to-heart with each other.
61:08Their break from playoff appearances is seven years to the next closest team.
61:12I know there's management. I know there's people in suits.
61:15And these people in suits sit at a big table, probably with real fancy glass holding them in this room.
61:22Have a serious conversation. Get real. The name, the Jets, there's not, like, jet exhaust pumped into those rooms that is throwing them off or anything, is there?
61:32There's something going on. They belong in that. Stop cashing checks and win some games.
61:37They belong in the special club with us, the Cardinals and the Browns.
61:41And right, I mean, working their way really hard to get into that group is the Falcons.
61:47Let me say that. Falcons are the second longest drought from a playoff.
61:51Yeah, the difference is the Falcons usually get close to the playoffs most years.
61:56They're like, they're never, you know, they're winning seven games, like, all the time.
62:01The Jets, when they're bad, they're often, I mean, they're...
62:04Winless type of season? Yeah, they're just putrid. If you had to bet your house on Aaron Glenn being the starting...
62:12Oh, no. I would, oh, I would double up whatever.
62:15Whatever. I mean, Aaron Glenn being the coach in 2027 is an impossibility.
62:19It's impossible that he is... Even with all those numbers Gino puts up for him?
62:24I... If Aaron Glenn is the coach in week 18, I will be blown away.
62:30That one I can see because maybe they just want to keep losing.
62:34I don't know. Yeah. They're... I think they're with the Cardinals.
62:38They're going to be doing what they can. I'm saying...
62:41Yeah. Not the players, not the coaches, but the up top they're going to be trying to lose.
62:47As a Cardinals fan, I just need the Jets and the Dolphins to go one-on-one against each other.
62:53It's very important. We have our goals. It is very important.
62:57AFC West on our next episode. Broncos, Chargers, Chiefs, and Raiders.
