0:52That's 1-800-Flowers.com slash SXM. Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
0:59Welcome in one and all. That was me. That was disturbing.
1:03It was. I wasn't sure if there would just be silence.
1:06The silence was deafening. That was not going to work for me.
1:11Welcome in to the Fantasy Footballers. Mike Wright, Jason Moore, Andy Holloway back with you Tuesday, May 19th.
1:17Apparently, it's not too early to mock draft because that's what we're doing today.
1:22And why not? Yeah. Rookies have teams. We've actually.
1:25Aaron Rodgers is finally back. Oh, man. We've been waiting on that to mock draft because he's going.
1:31Thank goodness. He's going so high in mocks. He's going to fix it.
1:36For the Steelers fans and Loyal, I was really afraid they weren't going to finish with six or seven wins.
1:42What do they want? Do they want Rodgers there because he's clearly better than their other options?
1:48No. Or do they want to have a chance at getting a quarterback in next year's very good quarterback draft class?
1:56I think they don't want. I mean, the ones that I know that are lifelong Steeler fans, the people that I've talked
2:03to, I asked them that question all offseason. And they don't want him back.
2:08Sorry. But you got him. You got him back.
2:11I mean, we've got Aaron Rodgers again. So I'm happy to be back on the show.
2:17Voice is mostly there. Not quite completely. But at least we're not like doing a mock draft show.
2:23Right. Where I have to talk through everybody's pick.
2:26But no, it'll be fun. We've got a lot going on.
2:30The UDK is less than two weeks away. You can find that at ultimatedraftkit.com.
2:35We've got some really exciting new features that we haven't announced yet that are also going to be launching for the UDK at no extra cost.
2:44But really, really cool features that we've been wanting to add for a long time.
2:49No extra cost, but it is extra boss. Thank you, Mike.
2:53That's a fact. Ultimatedraftkit.com for that. People from the 70s are like, oh, yeah.
2:58Yeah, they are. No, I'm with that. That's hip.
3:01And I would give it a 3 out of 10.
3:04I'm going to be honest. Well, you're not from the 70s.
3:08No. Thank goodness. No. First of all, Jason. You think I'm Papa Josh?
3:13You don't get. Yeah, Josh loved that joke. You don't get to rate anybody's jokes today.
3:18Because we already started doing video player profile videos for a number of the players that go into the UDK.
3:25The UDK has over 100 player profile videos. And you chose to crush it.
3:30To make some jokes that really, we just left them in.
3:34Yeah. You're going to love it. You're going to love it.
3:38They're special. So we'll get into some news and we'll get right into them all.
3:43News and notes from around the league. Just checking in with Al Borland real quick.
3:48Were the, would you say Jason crushed it with the jokes?
3:52I crushed it is not the term I would have used.
3:56Okay. Okay. But I did laugh at one of them.
3:59Hey, I'll take it. That's awesome. The Steelers re-signed Aaron Rodgers.
4:03One year contract worth up to $25 million. I, I hate this, man.
4:08Like Aaron Rodgers is an all-time great. An all-time great elite quarterback.
4:12And we're, we're at the party too long. We want to, you needed, I get it.
4:17If I'm him, I'm probably playing until the wheels fall off because then after this, you're like, you're totally done.
4:24You'll never play football again. But it's, I'm, my memories of him are, are becoming tainted.
4:30Negative. Yeah. They'll come back to, you'll be remembered for the Packers years.
4:34But do you think that Aaron Rodgers is like full of himself?
4:39What? The whole world knows Aaron Rodgers. I love me some me.
4:43Okay. So, so let me, so that was the table set.
4:47I think that he is. I just want to make sure that was the perception.
4:52In his ability. My point being, how can you not have that sense of self?
4:57If you can just completely blow this team off for the entire off season and meander back into the building and be handed $25 million.
5:06That is, I mean. Not going to help the ego you're saying.
5:10I just think that it's an impossible. If you can just, at this stage of your career, just walk into, I don't
5:18know if I want to come back. All right.
5:21I'll take the 25 mil. Like, that's a tough place to be.
5:25Saw some OTA clips already. He was one of the first guys in the building.
5:30Throwing to Pittman. Throwing to Metcalf. We're back. He's in.
5:34McCarthy. He's in the building. Jacoby Brissett is not.
5:37I'll say there was also a guy taking snaps in the backfield, Jason.
5:41In the Pittsburgh Steelers. Is it Kalub? It was Caleb.
5:45I don't know who you're talking about. Your favorite.
5:48I have no idea. I have no idea. He wasn't really a my guy.
5:53He was not a my guy. No. Oh, okay.
5:56But I don't know. I bet he thought about it.
5:59Oh, yeah. You shut your mouth. Hold on. I can still mute Andy.
6:04All right. Andy's muted. Wait, what? Oh, yeah. I've got a mute Andy button.
6:09This was a new thing he figured out that was funny, and now he gets to do it all the time.
6:16Do what? You can't say nothing. Jeremy, remove this immediately.
6:19I told him that, and he's left it for like five shows.
6:24There will be a problem. Yes. That won't happen.
6:2767% of Aaron Rodgers passing yards last year came after the catch, the highest total in the entire NFL.
6:33Dead last in average depth of target. Lowest yards per completion of any 10-win team in a decade.
6:40When your leading receiver is Kenneth Gainwell, that's going to happen.
6:43Yeah. Yeah, but we're all looking for whose fault this is.
6:47We're looking for the guy who did this. Well, let's give him $25 million.
6:52The reason that happened is because of Aaron Rodgers.
6:55You look at like, there was a part of this offseason we thought, well, Howard would be the starting quarterback.
7:02Then they draft Drew Aller, and now Rodgers comes back, and you look at, well, is he ever going to have a shot to do anything?
7:11Allegedly, Howard was second up as of the very, very early start.
7:15Sure. Well, there you go. Bucky Irving, Buccaneers general manager talking about Bucky Irving, saying he will be limited due to the
7:23shoulder during organized team activities, but should be ready for training camp.
7:27I mean, this has been a long time. Yeah, well, it was a recent surgery, so I think what happened was we
7:35just didn't know when he had the surgery up front, and so recently it's been reported, hey, he just had surgery a
7:42little while ago, but the timeline on this specific surgery should really be fine.
7:47He's not in jeopardy for a week one absence of pop, anything like that.
7:52He should really be fine. Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said the team is, quote, trying to see how Alvin Kamara will fit on the roster.
8:01I don't see how he does. Please don't. Yeah, so that will change things for Travis H.
8:07Ann Jr. Cardinals, Jacoby Brissett. I hate the Cardinals.
8:10Welcome. So does this guy. I mean, how do you manage to be like the worst schedule release in the league, and
8:18then now you're in a contract dispute with Jacoby Brissett, who didn't show up to the first practice?
8:24Do you know who's not showing up to practice?
8:27It's Jacoby Brissett. And we have to worry about this because he's the starter.
8:32I'm not worried. Cardinals are the underdog. For fantasy football purposes, I'm extremely worried.
8:37Yes. The Cardinals are underdogs in 17 out of their 17 games.
8:41If you told me Jacoby Brissett was not the starting quarterback for the Cardinals, my Trey McBride projection changes tremendously.
8:48Like, Trey McBride is amazing. But his numbers were incredible with Brissett.
8:52Do you think with being underdogs in 17 games, going after the number one pick presumably towards the end of the season,
9:00that Jacoby Brissett is going to play 17 games?
9:03No. Even if he's healthy? It's concerning. So that is...
9:07Carson Beck will see time on the field. And he'll see time in the fantasy playoffs.
9:12This is one of the reasons why, to me, I prefer Bowers to McBride this year.
9:18It's just a really difficult one to project when that change could happen.
9:22If it happens, if they pay Brissett, maybe they play him longer.
9:26You know, it's kind of weird to pay a guy to be your starter and then say you're going to pull him in 10 weeks.
9:35If you're losing consistently with him, I think you keep on losing.
9:39Fair. Kayshaun Booty is not practicing or participating in offseason workouts.
9:43It seems the Patriots are trying to move on.
9:46There's been rumors of them willing to take a fifth or sixth round pick, I think.
9:52There was a question on the last episode on Dynasty Week of when you put a player on the trading block, does it diminish their value?
10:01That's how it feels. Like, everyone knows Kayshaun Booty can be had for nothing.
10:06So it's just like a game of chicken of like, will you take a seventh?
10:11But I would love it if he goes to the Dolphins.
10:15I would say he feels like a chief. Yes, he does.
10:18Yes, he really does. He does. They're like, is it good enough?
10:23No, but we're going to do it anyways. Well, I mean, that would be, you know, the A.J.
10:29Brown rumors. And then Kyle Williams is there. And they've got weapons.
10:33They don't need, what, he had 33 catches. They all felt like big catches.
10:38Yeah, he was excellent down the field. Yeah. He can help a team, but.
10:43Any other news? I got breaking news. Oh. I can keep talking however long I want now without Jason muting me.
10:50Oh, man. My mute button's gone. Hit it, Jay.
10:53La la la la la la. La la la la.
10:57Yeah. You know what? I'm going to work on something else then.
11:01Okay. Oh, no. I don't know what that means.
11:04All right. We are going to jump right in.
11:07The Fantasy Footballers Mock Draft. We think this is the earliest we've ever mocked draft.
11:12Did. Twelve team, half PPR. Mock-a-lock-a-ding-dong. Oh, yeah, baby.
11:15Thank you for the mock-a-lock-a-ding-dong. Make the vibes. Twelve team, half PPR, one quarterback, two running back, two wide receiver, one tight end, one flex, four bench spots.
11:25Every single spot in the draft is filled by a human being.
11:29That's right. Take that, AI. Well, one of us could be a lizard person.
11:34We don't know. Okay. Well, yeah, that's possible. Brooks has got the first pick.
11:39I'm drafting at two. Jason at six. Mike at 11.
11:43We're going to take a little. This is a lay of the land opportunity here to see where players go.
11:50Brooks took B. John Robinson 101. Good work, Brooks.
11:53Brooks, and so I'm going to go up and follow him with Jameer Gibbs.
11:57That's a good pick. Now, if you were at one, you would have gone Gibbs?
12:03Gibbs is my number one overall, yes. So I would have gone Gibbs.
12:07So that puts... It's a bad job, Brooks. Two running backs at the top of the draft, followed by Jamar Chase, Pukunakua, and JSN.
12:16It's wild because our league of record, which some of you, if you've listened for a long time, you followed along with
12:23our league of record and you know the format and we have a franchise player and three keepers.
12:29Gibbs, Chase, Pukunakua, and JSN all available. And just like our league of record, I am picking where there's a big tear break.
12:37Because I think that those three wide receivers, everyone loves the two main running backs, B.
12:43John and Gibbs, everyone loves. Then it becomes a question when you're at the sixth pick of do you believe in Chris McCaffrey?
12:51Obviously, he was the best player in fantasy last year.
12:54Do you think he's going to repeat? He's awesome.
12:58Do you go elsewhere? Do you go to CeeDee Lamb?
13:01Do you... Like, there is... I think those first five are going to be the same first five in every draft.
13:08But now I have to decide where to go.
13:12I mean, you're a huge Jonathan Taylor fan. He's on the table as well.
13:16Amon Ross St. Brown, I think, would be right there in the mix.
13:21What is he, number three at wide receiver for three straight years?
13:25Correct. In half PPR. Never drafted as the number three wide receiver, by the way.
13:30Ever. I'm going to take Jonathan Taylor over Christian McCaffrey.
13:34I believe in him. I think he's a superhuman.
13:37And Daniel Jones will be back. I think the...
13:40We forget how dominant JTT was at the beginning of last year.
13:44I mean, he was lapping Christian McCaffrey for fantasy points.
13:48So, I'm just going to take the younger guy that I trust more.
13:52All right. Well, Jason went with Jonathan Taylor. So, running backs for him and myself.
13:57McCaffrey goes next. CMC at seven. Followed by Amon Ross St.
14:01Brown at 108. James Cook to Papa Josh at 109.
14:05CeeDee Lamb back in the first round this year at 110.
14:08And the hitman on the clock. And I... I could see sometimes inside Mike's soul.
14:14And I just wonder... If... If I'm going to take Kenneth Walker.
14:18Yeah. That's pretty much what I'm wondering. What you're going to do.
14:22But A-chan is there. Jefferson is not yet drafted.
14:25Oh, man. So, I mean, I think there are quite a few choices.
14:30It's a pretty standard format here in half PPR.
14:33Two running back, two wide receivers. Not overemphasizing the wide receiver spot.
14:37But what names are... I mean, is Walker in the mix?
14:41Walker is in the mix. But... Yeah. I'm going to take money bags here.
14:46I'm going to take Devon A-chan. Yeah. A-chan goes to the hitman at 111.
14:51That's E-tian. No, Jason. Oh, no, Jason. Don't do that to us.
14:55We can't even make this joke. Because we will break.
14:58We were... Even when we were talking about A-chan's name change.
15:02Then I got screwed up and I was like, Okay, what?
15:06Is it Devin? And I'm like, No, I know this.
15:09But you can't do these things. We can go back to A-chain.
15:13Does that help? It was better. So, Devon A-Chan.
15:17Justin Jefferson at 112. And Ashton Gentey at 201.
15:20I am... I'll say this. I am the most bullish among the three of us on Ashton Gentey by a long shot.
15:27One of the things that I love about Gentey for this year, if there are those that are just needing another reason
15:35to believe, Ashton Gentey is going to be in a position, likely with Kirk Cousins, who loves to check the football down.
15:43Yeah. And Ashton Gentey is very effective in that part of the fantasy football world.
15:48I mean, you want that receiving work from your running back.
15:52And I think that there's a huge opportunity for a quick start for Gentey in the receiving game.
15:58One of those players, I think, that can do it.
16:01So, Mike, you're back on the clock. A-chan was your first pick.
16:06We're in the second round now. Yep. So, I got the long wait to my next pick.
16:11I imagine... Like, this is interesting to me. I haven't really mocked yet or done any basketball stuff.
16:18So, A-chan being there at 11, and then I can draft another player who I think is an RB1.
16:24Like, going RB heavy at the 111 is... It feels like that's an impossibility.
16:29And yet, here we are. So, I got A-chan.
16:32You can ask me the question, the Kenneth Walker question again.
16:36Yeah, are you... Yes, I am. Yeah, okay. You know, it's a shame that, like, I felt so proud of you to be able to resist the temptation.
16:46And then it just rolls right back to you.
16:49A-chan's better for fantasy football. I can admit that.
16:52Yeah. So, Mike ends up with A-chan and Ken Walker.
16:56I mean, that's fun to see... At the 11?
16:59...what's there. I mean, this is the first time any of us have done a full mock with people here, with the staff.
17:07So, Saquon at 203. I mean, that's... Like, that's interesting to me.
17:11Like, Saquon has... You know, we spent a lot of last offseason, or last season, with a broken-down offensive line, and he struggled.
17:19Saquon struggled. But if you bring back, you know, Lane Johnson, is there a chance that Saquon ends up being top three again?
17:27I mean, I think that that's at least in the realm of possibility.
17:31Yeah. So, I would say Barkley doesn't... It doesn't feel like it's completely over.
17:36And a return to a top five, top three season, I don't think is out of question.
17:42Saquon goes at 203. Drake London next at 204.
17:45I think our first, you know, biggest leap of faith so far, Omari and Hampton to Kyle at 205.
17:52I love it. And Chase Brown at 206. So, it feels like a tear breakthrough.
17:57Yeah, if Hampton had dropped to me, he would have been an auto-selection.
18:02Here, I'm looking... I'm in the middle of the second, and there's a lot of players I like.
18:08So, it really comes down to who do I think I can get in the next round?
18:14Which position do I think is deeper, and players that I personally like that could drop to me?
18:20I think there's more at running back, surprisingly, than at wide receiver.
18:24I'm going to take my wide receiver six. A little bit ahead of ADP, but I'm going to take Rashi Rice.
18:32Yeah, you wouldn't have gotten him. Yeah, I don't think he would have made it back to the third round.
18:38So, yeah, I mean, he was... When he's on the field with Mahomes, he scores a ton of fantasy points, and that's the game.
18:47Is that what we play? That's what we do.
18:50We're going for the points? I just want more points than my opponent.
18:54Right. Different than golf. No, no, no. In golf, too.
18:58You do want the most. In golf, I absolutely go for the most.
19:02You have had the most points in golf, literally.
19:06Yes, thank you. Thank you. Rashi Rice, Jeremiah Love at 208, the rookie.
19:10You know, I am in a tornado of pain with my thoughts on Jeremiah Love.
19:15I have gone from... Like, our consensus... We're, like, down, ranking-wise, on our initial rankings.
19:20Yeah, and it feels real bad. And then I start to think more about this situation.
19:26And the Brissette checkdowns, and how good in the receiving game Jeremiah Love is, and how bad the Cardinals' defense is, and
19:34how many games there will be trailing in which there will be checkdown city.
19:39Like, I just... I know that there's a percentage chance he is much better than this spot.
19:44Yes. I know it. He's that good of a player.
19:48He is sensational. His situation right now looks very unappealing, because you do have other running backs that are going to be involved here.
19:56James Conner has been a captain of the team.
19:59They just paid money to Algier, who obviously can...
20:03They will be... ...vulture touchdowns. They will be like dust in the wind, Jason.
20:07That's what's going to happen within about five minutes.
20:11Among seven running backs drafted in the top 15 over the last decade, they have averaged 290 touches.
20:17He will... He will... You give Jeremiah Love 290 touches.
20:20He's a top 10 guy. I'm telling you, there's this part of me that sees...
20:25Like, you're going to go out in week one, and he's going to be like eight for 72 through the air.
20:33And then you're going to go, oh, gosh. He feels like a nuclear option.
20:38Well, he goes to the Falcon. In a way that way, you could just nuke your own draft, because the Cardinals are just so bad.
20:46Yeah, I mean, you saw the Gentee here last year.
20:50Gentee's great, and it wasn't amazing, but Cardinals also had a good offense with Bursette.
20:55I know... I know... They had a lot of yards.
20:58They had a lot of yards. And Jacobs goes next.
21:02Malik Neighbors goes at 210. What do you think of that?
21:06He's going to be so interesting. As of this moment in time, my expectation is that he starts on the pup.
21:13I don't think he is there for week one.
21:16So when we come around to drafts in August, I'm curious how far he'll fall if it's confirmed.
21:22Like, when we're doing a real draft, if we know that he's not going to be ready week one, where does he go?
21:30How far do you drop a guy who, towards the end of the year, should be on the field and crushing it?
21:38For what it's worth, I don't think that he starts the year on the pup.
21:43I think he will be on the field in week one.
21:47On the side? Or in between the numbers? Yeah.
21:50Loophole. So I'm on the clock at the turn here, 2-11.
21:54You know, I'm looking at, like this is a spot where if you draft really early in the draft, you will definitely
22:02be tempted by the option to go onesie position here.
22:05Because you could take the top quarterback in the draft, you can take Josh Allen.
22:10I could turn around and take Josh Allen maybe at the beginning of the next round.
22:16You could also go with one of the big guys at tight end, McBride and Bowers.
22:22Well, I've only got to wait two more picks after this.
22:25And so I'm going to let it come to me a little bit.
22:30I see one wide receiver in a different tier right now that's left over on the board and it's Nico Collins.
22:37So I'm going to take Nico Collins at 2-11 and let Brooks make a couple of picks.
22:43Take Josh Allen and McBride. Well, then I'd have Bowers.
22:47See, it's just perfect. All right. So he ended up going Kyron and McMillan.
22:51So he actually made it worse on me. Because now I have to make the decision.
22:57Now you still have to make a choice. Yeah, I'm going to take Trey McBride.
23:02I mean, I have him far and away the number one fantasy tight end.
23:07So we talked about some of the risks that are in play.
23:11But that's where I'm going to go. And it starts the run of those names because McBride to my roster and then Josh Allen goes next.
23:20Brock Bowers goes next after that. So Pickens off the board as well.
23:25And Jason, you're back on the clock with Taylor and Rice.
23:29This is great for my beliefs. I've got Rice as my wide receiver six.
23:33My running back six is still available in the third round.
23:37I think he'll be available in a lot of third rounds.
23:41Derek Henry. Yeah, that was... It's tough because at some point it can't keep happening.
23:46I almost took Henry with my pick. That was the one I was really considering if I went running back was Henry.
23:54So we'll talk about more of that. Mike, you were laughing?
23:58Of just the... He wasn't there. Like, I had removed him from my player pool mentally and was like, okay, what do we got here?
24:06And you're like, oh, Derek Henry in the middle of the third.
24:11It's wild. Oh, man. So Jason went with Henry.
24:14We'll take a quick break and come back with the rest of the third round.
24:19My mom inspired me to dream big and work hard.
24:22Sign a rock! What would you like the power to do?

25:01That's 1-800-Flowers.com slash SXM. All right, Jason. Derek Henry rushed for 1,595 yards with 16 rushing touchdowns last year.
25:08I'm telling you, I almost took him at 211.
25:11And he's in the third round. It's a steal.
25:14Jason with Taylor and Henry with Rashi Rice leading the way as your one.
25:19I've got Gibbs, Nico, and McBride. Mike with A-Chan and Walker.
25:23He's on the clock now. After Henry, A-Chan Jr.
25:26That would be Travis A-Chan Jr. A.J. Brown, Chris Olave, and Brees Hall.
25:31That could be a steal. I do think that Brees Hall is potentially, if he slips into the fourth round, just please take him in every league.
25:40Because I think his, I mean, he has done so much with so little in New York.
25:46An offensive line is better than it used to be.
25:49I think it's an interesting pick. I do think the Jets' offense, like, I love talking poorly about Jets, Browns, Cardinals.
25:57I just enjoy it. It's a hobby. It's one of my favorite hobbies.
26:01I actually think the Jets' offense should be okay this year.
26:05Like, they have some really fun weapons, and Gino is not great by any means, but he can- Oh, he was the worst, yeah.
26:13Yeah, I mean, but it's like, he can still support enough yards to be good for fantasy.
26:19Mike, A-Chan, Ken Walker, where are you looking? You're at 311.
26:23Some of the bigger wide receivers on the board are names that you've liked in the past.
26:29T. Higgins, Garrett Wilson, Luther Burden. I don't have the courage to have gone running back, running back, and then have Luther Burden be my one.
26:38I mean, I'm real quick on the turn here so I could take Burden and then another player I like if I wanted to assure I get him.
26:48So it's either Burden, Hand, or two. Goodness gracious.
26:51I got a lot of laughing back there. I got a lot from him.
26:56He got a lot of sympathy in the back there.
26:59I got a lot from Al. He was chuckling loud.
27:03He did like that one a lot. It's Garrett Wilson, who was dominant last year with Justin Fields.
27:09I agree that Geno should be better. That's just a...
27:12It's a scary proposition. This is a choice of your one now.
27:17When you go to running backs, you have to say, who do I hand the keys to my wide receiver room to?
27:24And... Oh, man. I don't... So Jeremy is in between me and my next pick.
27:29I'm not... There's a name that I think he might...
27:33Oh, man. I got like three guys. I got like three guys.
27:37Well, I don't want... Why don't you say them out loud?
27:41Say them out loud. But the guy's... I know.
27:44It's a podcast, though. Jeremy, earmuffs. All right. So, I mean, it's like Higgins.
27:49He put his hands over his head... Over his headphones.
27:52Like, that would block the sound. Higgins, Garrett, and Ibuka are...
27:56It's like, I want to walk away from this turn.
28:00Ibuka, Egbegbu. Yeah. Egbegbu. Also him. So, it's like, which one do I want to make sure I don't lose?
28:07T. Higgins is... As of right now, he's technically higher in my rankings than Ibuka and Wilson, but by, you know, an overall five points.
28:15And so, it's just the factoring in how he scores his points.
28:19I'm going to take Garrett. We're going to go two Jets here.
28:24It's the right move. Give me the targets. If you're taking this as your first wide receiver, I want someone who's going to have 150 targets.
28:33All right. Garrett Wilson joining Mike's squad. Yeah, yeah.
28:36Yeah, yeah, yeah. T. Higgins goes next at 312.
28:39Oh! Oh, he didn't do me dirty. Cam Scadaboo goes at 401.
28:43I wonder where Cam will end up. I think Cam is going to have a big say in our confidence levels for
28:51Cam Scadaboo because I'd like him to be back and be healthy and be good, but I just don't know where he's at.
28:59Mike's back on the clock. H.N. Walker and Garrett Wilson, Mike, make the pick.
29:04Oh, man. So the names I would be considering here would be, you know, Abuka projecting the...
29:09a true breakout, not just a half of a season.
29:13Luther Burton's kind of the fun pick right here.
29:16I don't think it's terrible at the 402 to do it, but I'm going to go ahead...
29:22I'm going to go with Abuka who... like, the Bears are difficult to project of who is it truly going to be.
29:30I think the answer is probably Mr. Loveland. It just can Burden, as the number two, or my projected number two in
29:37the offense, really actually take the step. Very capable as a player, but will the targets be there?
29:43Well, one of my targets in this round is gone.
29:47Javante Williams has gone at 404. That's Mr. Loveland.
29:50Yeah, and Bucky Irving. That's... You jerk. And then Devontae Smith, who Jason was apparently pining for, goes at 406.
29:57So, Mike has, what, two wide receivers, two running backs?
30:01Jason, two running backs that are, like, 300-plus carry guys, and Rashi Rice.
30:05Rashi is... He's a weird one. Yeah. You know, I do think his...
30:10his floor is so high. I am totally fine with having him be my number one.
30:15I would have loved to pair him with Devontae Smith.
30:19I think Devontae Smith will be a top 15 wide receiver this year, assuming no A.J.
30:24Brown, which seems like a safe assumption. And what sucks here is, like, when I look at the board now, I was completely targeting Devontae Smith.
30:33With him gone, I love Travion Henderson. I think he's going to be great this year.
30:39I think he's going to take a step up.
30:42And he is the best player that I see.
30:45But I feel like with Jonathan Taylor and Derek Henry on my roster, with only Rice...
30:51That might be the best spot to take a Travion, is when you have stalwarts at running back, and you can allow...
30:58You know, it's still a committee for Travion. Yeah, this is...
31:02This is really tough. There are... I think the wide receivers that are at the top of the board right now, I don't like that much.
31:11I prefer some other shots deeper in the draft.
31:14So I am. I'm going to take... I'm going to take Travo.
31:18And I am very running back heavy to start this draft.
31:22Taylor Henry, Travo, and Rashi Rice. Lad McConkie goes next at 4.08.
31:26New Denver Bronco, Jalen Waddle at 4.09. What do you think about that spot for him on the...
31:33I think that seems about right. He... We did our video for Bo Nix, and, you know, talking about his inconsistencies.
31:40I think Waddle really helps that team. All right.
31:43I am... I'm back on the clock. Gibbs, Collins, and McBride.
31:47So I went with one of the onesies, which thinned out...
31:51You know, a lot of running backs went between my McBride pick.
31:55You had seven... Eight running backs. There is one name...
31:58Are you counting Harvey as a running back? Seven and a half.
32:02Okay. Harvey went right before me. There's only one...
32:06There's a couple names at running back that I think are pretty interesting here, actually.
32:11One that's on my list, and again, I know Brooks is listening.
32:15I know he can just snipe him away. If he wants to, go ahead.
32:20I dare you. Basial Tootin and Jadarian Price. I think those are the two names of guys that I think are going
32:27to have a tremendous amount of the work. Chuba Hubbard is also in that category.
32:33When you look at wide receiver, I got my choice of those two guys from Chicago.
32:38I wish someone had taken one of them so I don't have to think about Burden via Dunze.
32:45Jamison Williams, who I have ranked very high on the board, and then another rookie in Carnell Tate.
32:51Those are kind of the names coming into consideration.
32:54Lamar Jackson is also there. Oh, man. I might feel back.
32:58Onesie, onesie. I know. I don't feel like I can do that.
33:02So I'm actually going to take... Oh, gosh. I try never to do that, and I'm going to go with Quinshawn Judkins.
33:10I'm going to take Judkins at 4'11". People forget how successful he was with the opportunity he had.
33:16McLaurin and Jeterian Price go next because he wants to leave me with this stinking decision about the Bears.
33:22Doing great work, Brooks. Well, it's Rome Odunze then.
33:26I'm going to take Roma Dunze at the 5'02".
33:29It's who I have ranked higher. Harold Fannin goes next.
33:32I know. I might not be right. Bayshall Tootin at 5'04".
33:36DeAndre Swift at 5'05". So right now, just as picks are being made, Jason's on the clock.
33:42McBride, Bowers, Loveland, and Fannin are gone. I have DeAndre Swift, guys.
33:46I know. You have them very high. I have a place in my rankings that...
33:51Inappropriate? My heart hurts. It's very off-brand. When I read it and my very hilarious, very accurate takes about Swift not really
33:59being that good, and yet last year, what was he, the RB14?
34:03Because they had figured stuff out. Well, Madonga's good, though.
34:07Oh, I agree. I agree. My projections for Swift are not an outrageous step up.
34:12He missed one game, but after the bye week, he had a lot of huge, huge games.
34:18Yeah, the only running backs to finish inside the top 24 each of the last six years, Derek Henry and DeAndre Swift.
34:25Jason, you're on the clock, and I... Kyle, that stat is disgusting.
34:29Jason's got Taylor, Henry, and Travo with Rashi Rice.
34:33There is a name on the board I wonder if you're thinking about.
34:37Yeah, I mean, well, what is it? Why would you just tell me?
34:42I tried to... I mean, I set the table a little bit.
34:46McBride, Bowers, Loveland, and Fannin are off the board.
34:49One of the guys that you are in love with.
34:52Yeah, I am in love with... You will not be here if you don't take him here.
34:58Tyler Warren, I think, is a phenomenal talent, but I also don't necessarily want to have Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Warren on the same team.
35:07Because I'm so running back heavy, I want to focus on wide receiver.
35:11I'm going to try a strategy here. There's a wide receiver I really want.
35:16He's who, if this was a real draft, I would probably just take him because I believe in him the most.
35:24But I think he might come to me the next round.
35:27Okay. And so I'm going to kind of do a reverse thing here.
35:32I'm going to take a guy... You're going to take your sixth-round pick here and hope you can get your fifth-round pick later?
35:40Perfectly said, Mike. I'm going to take Carnell Tate.
35:43I want a young alpha opportunity for someone that towards the end of the year could really show that...
35:50I mean, we've seen so many rookie wide receivers in the last decade that just make a huge impact on fantasy.
35:57And when you go that high in the draft, I think he's going to be a good player.
36:03After Carnell Tate goes flowers, Tyler Warren, Drake May, the number two quarterback off the board to Papa Josh.
36:10J-Mo, he's gone. Jamison Williams, I have him ranked very highly once again.
36:14Mike is back on the clock. He's balanced. H.
36:17Ann Walker, Wilson, and Abuka. Oh, baby. And two picks.
36:21And Luther B. Still there. He's right there for me.
36:24Let me peek. So Jeremy's balanced at the turn.
36:28Quarterback-wise, some elites are still there. I would say there's three elites because we've got Lamar, Joe Burrow, and Jaden.
36:35So I could be cool just bypassing that completely.
36:38Tight end, it's really just... It's Tucker Craft and how well do you believe he will bounce back from his injury?
36:45Otherwise, just punt. Like I said, Luther Burden's at the top.
36:49And then there is... There is another wide receiver who's also very high in my rankings.
36:54I'm going to play the game. I'm going to take Luther Burden.
36:58Well, you got him around later and you thought you might have to take him.
37:04I did. So that's fun. Oh, no! Jeremy took him!
37:07I knew who you were talking about. Christian Watson goes next.
37:11My... And Lamar Jackson at 6-0-1. You thought the Packer fan was going to...
37:16Yeah. That was a bad bet. I just wanted to see what happened.
37:20And it was wrong. So the Packer fan... Yeah.
37:24Who wouldn't have wanted to take a bear... Oh, yeah.
37:27Take the bear. That's fair. You messed it up.
37:30Know your league. I did. You messed it up.
37:33Well, I was going with the Jason's method. Right.
37:36Take the... Take the worst pick and get the better pick later.
37:41Oh. Yeah, weird. It didn't work out. No. It did not work out.
37:45You're back on the clock. So I got... I got three wide receivers.
37:50So my flex is Luther Burden at this point.
37:53So H.N. Walker, Wilson, Abuka, Luther Burden. That feels really strong.
37:57It seems like I could afford to take a quarterback here.
38:00So is it... Jayden Daniels bouncing back. Joe Burrow continuing his six-game pace of dominance.
38:06I mean, just... When Joe Burrow's healthy, he dominates.
38:09But he is frequently not healthy. Oh, my gosh.
38:12Uh... And in between those two guys, I'm kind of just...
38:16Which day... And which one am I feeling? I'm going to go...
38:20I'm going to go with Joey B. I'm going to take Burrow.
38:24Lamar and Joe Burrow back-to-back in the sixth round here.
38:27Jason... There's a lizard dragon. I warned you about the lizard people.
38:32A little guttural reaction to Mike Evans leaving in the sixth round.
38:36Um... Papa Josh has been sitting on the clock for quite some time.
38:40I'm really thinking here. Devontae Adams off the board.
38:43Then Jayden Daniels. So we've seen a run of four quarterbacks in nine picks.
38:48May, Lamar, Burrow, and Jayden. Do you think that's what people will end up doing?
38:54Is somebody starts to run beyond Josh Allen and he just goes?
38:58Yeah, I think so. There's kind of a tier of similar quarterbacks where...
39:02If you go into a draft saying, I want one of these guys...
39:07Like, for instance, right now, I have Jalen Hurts kind of in that tier.
39:12I'm going to take him because he's the last of that tier.
39:16And based off of, like, last year, the sixth round where we have Lamar, Burrow, Daniels, and Hurts?
39:22Like, that's not... We're getting a discount right now.
39:25Yeah. A little bit typical of our drafts. I think what people hear.
39:30Even this. Even this is... Seems later. Last year, a lot of these tier of quarterbacks we were taking in the fourth round.
39:38Jalen Hurts to Jason. He loves himself some Jalen Hurts.
39:41David Montgomery. The Houston Texan goes next. DJ Moore off the board.
39:45And Jalen Warren. I think David Montgomery and Jalen Warren are going to be phenomenal values in drafts this year.
39:52Because this is about where I expect them to go.
39:56The boring volume. Yeah, the boring volume guys that no one really is excited about that seem kind of like dead zone running backs.
40:04But their opportunities to score a lot of fantasy points are...
40:08Like, it's a very clear path. I mean, super obvious how both these guys get it done.
40:14And they're in the sixth round. Back in the sixth.
40:17You feel like Warren is clearly ahead of Dowdle?
40:20Yeah, personally, I do. Well, I think every team with Dowdle always ends up hating him.
40:26Like, no matter how good he plays, it's like, I don't know what he does, but...
40:31Was McCarthy's firing the same year that Dowdle left?
40:35He was... I don't remember. Maybe, Kyle, do you remember?
40:38I'm trying to remember now, too. I guess... Yeah, Kyle says yes.
40:42Kyle says yes. So, that's what I'm saying. Like, McCarthy was let go after Dowdle had the breakout for McCarthy.
40:49So, that's a domino. Should McCarthy have been retained, did Dowdle remain a cowboy?
40:54You'll never know. If you look at Aaron Rodgers and how he plays and his checkdowns, like we said, Kenneth Gainwell led this team in receptions last year.
41:04That's not going to be Dowdle. That's going to be Jalen Warren.
41:08I appreciate you guys spending so much time. You're welcome.
41:11I don't know who I want to pick. So, there's a name that jumps off the page that I won't take because
41:19I don't want too many interests in this offense.
41:22But Marvin Harrison is a sixth round pick. And so, he...
41:26But I have McBride. And so, there's one other player that struggled last year that I do think could bounce back.
41:33And it's Brian Thomas Jr. Brian Thomas Jr. is here sitting here in the sixth round.
41:39I also think... I think about... Kai Lemon. I think about Chuba Hubbard a little bit.
41:44At the wide receiver position, we still haven't seen a Pittsburgh Steeler wide receiver go off the board yet.
41:51Not that that is saying much. How do you have those two guys?
41:56The Steelers wide receivers. In terms of fantasy output?
41:59Right. I'm just curious. I haven't looked at your guys.
42:02Are you DK Metcalf over Pittman or Pittman over Metcalf?
42:06Let me tell you. Okay. That's why I'm asking.
42:09I have DK Metcalf a decent amount ahead of Pittman.
42:12Liked what you saw last year, huh? This guy.
42:15This guy. This guy and Metcalf at every turn.
42:19I mean, having Metcalf ahead of Pittman doesn't mean I liked what I saw.
42:23I was saying. Pittman was quite good. Would you believe that all of this delay in me speaking and all this...
42:31You still haven't picked? I still don't really know.
42:34Just take Alec Pierce. That's who I'm going to take.
42:37I'm not joking. That's that point. Alec Pierce. You see with three?
42:41Turbo? Is who I'm going to go with. Pierce is at 6'11 here.
42:46Brian Thomas Jr. goes next. Chuba Hubbard goes next.
42:49I don't know if he's just doing that to mess with me.
42:53Because those are the two names I mentioned. But at running back, it's thinned out quite a bit.
43:00I'm back on the clock. JCM, who still has a job in Washington.
43:04Ramondre, nobody ever wants to pick. Monongai. Pollard. Pollard's just like, the starting running back of a team we think is going to vastly improve on offense, right?
43:14Yeah, but it's so... But who wants to take him?
43:17He feels like he's there and he has a sign that says, this is a trap, pointing directly at Tony Pollard.
43:25All right. I'll take Marv. I'm willing to take him around later.
43:29I'll take Marvin Harrison in the seventh round here.
43:32And stack up some wide receiver options. I was completely 100% in line with you where I think the two best values
43:39since my last pick were Brian Thomas Jr. and Marvin Harrison.
43:43Those guys should not be going this late because around here, like Metcalf, Sutton, Jacoby Myers, just looking at what's at the top.
43:51Those guys don't have a path to be like, oh my gosh, they're the wide receiver five this year.
43:58Those two, Marv and Brian Thomas could absolutely just explode.
44:01Yeah. Marv could have a five in his number.
44:04Yeah. But there's going to be a number in front of that five.
44:09Well, his teammate Wilson went directly with the next pick, then Pollard and Makai Lemon.
44:14We'll take a break and let Jason make his seventh round selection.
44:18My community gives me the confidence to ask myself, what would you like the power to do?
44:24So every time I'm on the pitch, I play for more than myself.
44:29Certainly brilliant! Bank of America champions U.S. Women's National Team member Naomi Gurma and everyone who dares to ask, what would you like the power to do?
44:38Bank of America, proud to be the official bank of U.S.
44:42soccer. Bank of America and a member FDSP. If you walk into a room and can't remember why, it could be nothing or something more.
44:51If you confuse a familiar recipe, it could be a slip up.
44:55Or it could be associated with amyloid plaque buildup in the brain.

45:02But a buildup in the brain could lead to memory and thinking issues.

45:14It's never too early to start the conversation. Visit amyloid.com to learn more.
45:18All right, Jason, you're back on the clock. Hurts last round.
45:22You have a fairly thin wide receiver room. Yes, I do.
45:26With Rice and Carnell Tate. That is true. I did want Marv or Brian Thomas.
45:31I wanted Mike Evans last round. You should draft the guys that you want.
45:36What great advice. In that case, I'm going to take someone that I have.
45:41I mean, I am going to choose what I believe in my rankings over what ADP is.
45:47And I'm going to not take DK Metcalf, but I am going to take Michael Pittman.
45:52I think, I mean, they paid this man a lot of money.
45:56They traded for him. And he is the play style.
46:00What did they pay Metcalf? That was years ago.
46:03But he's the play. It's the play style. Like, we just talked about Aaron Rodgers.
46:08Like, he's a check down king now. He throws the ball about 10 yards or less.
46:14This is where Pittman's going to be living. So, you have him statted above Metcalf.
46:19Yeah, I've got Pittman ahead. Wow. Okay. Pittman was really good last year.
46:23Yes, he was. I mean, he's always a good player.
46:27I know. It's like the total opposite of DK Metcalf.
46:30Like, always good. Jason goes Pittman, Stevenson, Menongai, Kraft, and Dowdle next.
46:35Taking Dowdle off the board for Mike. Yeah. Mike, you got a couple of picks here.
46:40Let's make them count. To steal my picks, the only consolation I have here is Dowdle would have been my second pick, hopefully making it through the turn.
46:50Because I will take the starting running back for the Denver Broncos, J.K.
46:54Dobbins. I do not see anything different. I apologize.
46:58Jonah Coleman is there. He's a variable. He's a factor.
47:01I'm saying I don't see anything different of what the depth chart will be.
47:06If you want eight fantasy points, you're going to get it.
47:10I think he'll get a lot more than eight fantasy points.
47:13If you want eight games, you're going to get it.
47:17Now, the injury is definitely a problem. But Harvey is just – Harvey is not it.
47:23So, here's Dobbins' finishes to start last year as he was a late addition to the Broncos.
47:28Running back 13, 15, 12, 19, 15. Terrible game against the Jets.
47:33It's 23-13. And then 32 and gets hurt. All the extra time, though, for Harvey in the back half of the year
47:40and drafting the pick, I don't think it's going to be status quo.
47:45I do because I watched Harvey play football. And that guy is just – I mean, he was very involved.
47:52Oh, yeah. He had to be. They had no choice.
47:55I just think Dobbins is such a superior player even at this point with all of his injuries.
48:01Ironically, if you're just using fantasy finishes as the argument for Dobbins, if you look at R.J.
48:07Harvey's fantasy finishes towards the end of the year, RB7, RB7, .5, 11, 11.
48:12Touchdowns hit real, real hot for him at the end of the year.
48:17All right, Mike, you're back on the clock. Dobbins was the 7-11 pick.
48:21Krosky, Mara, and Metcalf go – Metcalf an eighth-round pick wild.
48:25Mike respects it. He's like he should double-digit guy at best.
48:29Tight end-wise. You know what? He used to be DK Metcalf.
48:33He still is. He never was. He is on our website.
48:37He never was. He never will be. A player that – I talk about punting the tight end position.
48:43Laporta finished much higher in my ending projections than I was expecting to see.
48:48I don't feel like it's a sure-fire bet, but in the eighth round, it's all right.
48:54Jared Goff continues to just pour on passing yardage.
48:57It might just be Amin Ra and Jamison Williams, but I'll take the shot here.
49:02I really think that offense is going to be great again this year.
49:06I think they will be too. People want to attack the change at offensive coordinator.
49:12This is not one of those teams where Philadelphia, the offensive coordinator, is doing so much.
49:17It's a collaborative effort is what I'm saying in Detroit.
49:21The head coach, Dan Campbell, called plays for half of the year last year.
49:26He's going to have a huge influence. They're not going to completely depart from what they're doing and have had success doing.
49:33Jared Goff, in the past four years where he played 17 games, has thrown for 4,400 yards, 4,500 yards, 4,600 yards, and 4,500 yards.
49:42Laporta, Gainwell, Corum. Blake Corum going at 8-0-4. Interesting pick there.
49:45Pearslaw and Parker, Washington. It's funny with the Jags.
49:48I mean, you could take any of them. There's still Jacoby Myers on the board.
49:54Yep. And one of them is going to be right.
49:57But none of them. Sure. None of them could be right.
50:01That could absolutely work out. But I'm going to take Quinton Johnston.
50:05Oh, yeah. I mean, huge. Huge is – I think he's just disappointed so much early that people forget that he's actually really good.
50:13Yes. I think this offense – I want pieces of the Chargers offense that if you're telling me one wide receiver on
50:21that team is going to get 10 touchdowns, it's probably going to be huge.
50:26All right. I am on the clock here. I've gone wide receivers three straight.
50:31It's thinned out crazily at running back. I need depth there.
50:35I'm taking Jordan Mason above Aaron Jones. Interesting. Actually, Aaron Jones just went at 809.
50:40I'm taking Jordan Mason at 811. Jones a year older.
50:43Josh Downs, a steal there by Brooks at 812.
50:46Yes, he was. Great pick. And Crod. Crod. Chris Rodriguez goes at 901.
50:51Interesting pick there. I'm going to circle back. I wanted to get Makai Lemon earlier.
50:56I thought about Makai Lemon as a rookie with upside.
51:00So, I'm going to take another rookie with upside.
51:03I'm going to take Casey Concepcion at the 902 for the Browns.
51:07You know what I like about that pick is that he's very good.
51:11Right. That's one of the helpful attributes. Thank you.
51:15We don't love that he's on the Browns. You don't even know who the quarterback is going to be yet for sure.
51:22But Concepcion is a really good player. All right.
51:25After Concepcion, Jacoby Myers does go. Jordan Addison, probably a steal at 904.
51:30You got like three Vikings going there and eight picks.
51:33Kyle Pitts at 905, who reluctantly I have in my top five.
51:38And this is the eighth tight end off the board.
51:41Jason, you are back on the clock. You will need a tight end before all things come to an end.
51:48I will get a tight end in round 11 because that is our last round.
51:53If I don't end up with one of those top guys, I don't care.
51:58I just will punt. You're not wrong. The running backs got thinned out like crazy.
52:03Yeah, I regret three wide receivers in a row after that happened.
52:07There is hot poo-poo garbage left to grab. And usually this is where the rookies are fun.
52:13But this just isn't a very strong rookie running back class.
52:17So I'm just going to keep rolling with my three studs at running back and look to the wide receiver position.
52:24And the guy I like the most is no one.
52:28Is? Is. Well, let's do this. B. Robinson from Atlanta is on the clock.
52:33Yeah, I'll take B. Robinson. I'm going to pair my Carnell Tate with Wandale Robinson.
52:38Just what? I mean, I think. This is a purposeful strategy.
52:42This wasn't a forgetting that I took Tate. This is me saying that if Tate.
52:47You've given up on the draft? No, this is if Tate.
52:51If Carnell Tate is great. If he comes out and looks awesome.
52:55I don't need Wandale. What if he's second rate?
52:58If he's second rate. It's probably. It probably means that Wandale is going to be 140 targets.
53:04That laughed way too loud at that. 140 targets.
53:07I understand in principle that makes sense if it's Metcalf and Pittman.
53:11Oh, Kyle. You dog. It doesn't make sense to me if it's Tate and Wandale.
53:17Because if Tate doesn't emerge immediately, you will just know that he's a rookie about to emerge.
53:22If Wandale emerges immediately, you're not going to drop Tate.
53:26So I think you're stuck with two Titans. And I'm not sure I love that.
53:31But Herbie goes at 907 Sutton. Woody Marks. Brock Purdy.
53:35Cortland Sutton. I know it was disappointing. But Cortland Sutton at the 908 feels.
53:40Oh my gosh. I'd rather never draft him. That's how I feel.
53:44I feel like Cortland Sutton. Cortland nothing. Yeah. Give me a break.
53:48Cortland nothing completely bombed the final two weeks of the year and still finished as the wide receiver 13.
53:54At this point of the draft, that is shocking to me.
53:58Yeah. Fair enough. All right. You're back on the clock.
54:02Two of your final three picks. I don't know if you guys have noticed this, but the running back position.
54:09It's not good, man. That's why you do the dance, man.
54:13You want to learn what to expect. And it's thinned out quick.
54:17It thins out extremely fast. So my wide receiver position, I got Garrett Wilson, Abuka, Burden.
54:22I got three running backs as well. My quarterback and my tight end.
54:27I would prefer to take some shots on some running back sleepers, but...
54:31But they're all fast asleep. Yeah. I mean, you have Jonah Coleman.
54:35These are just running back coma patients. You have Rashad White.
54:39Oh, yeah. Rashad White's a... Jonathan Brooks are some names.
54:43Katron Allen, if you don't like what Washington has.
54:46I'm going to let Jason... Oh, I was still like Singleton.
54:50I was thinking of Singleton. Charbonnet. Yeah, Charbonnet is just an IR stash.
54:54The wide receiver... I want to take Romeo Dobbs, which on May 18th I think is the right pick.
55:01But in two weeks, that is probably not the right pick.
55:05Why don't you do it now? Because you're not going to be able to give him respect later.
55:11Because I... Now that you mentioned Rashad White, that's probably the best smart pick right there.
55:16All right. Rashad White drafted by Mike Wright. Yep.
55:20Oh, man. White to right. In on Rashad White and DeAndre Swift in one year?
55:25Ugh. Who are you? What have I become? Last year was the year of Mike.
55:30This year. This is the year of White. Rashad White.
55:33Oh, no. Oh, no. Romeo Dobbs and Ferguson. Off the board, Mike.
55:38You got to make another pick. Make it a gross one.
55:41Oh, you guys. Who else do you not like?
55:45Yeah. Generally, let me see some of these names.
55:48So many people. Can I interest you in Braylon Allen?
55:51Uh, no. How about some Stephon Diggs before he has a team?
55:55Or Tyreek. If you're in a wide open... Or Debo.
55:59Like, if you're in a real draft, at this point, you know, looking at the players like, oh, I could have Khalil Shakir.
56:07I can have Worthy. It's like, why not? Why not throw one of the veterans who doesn't have a job?
56:14Who almost certainly will have an impact job. But I'm going to go with...
56:19Oh, man. You need another wide out. Yeah, I'm going to go...
56:23I like that there's no answer to the end.
56:26Well, it's... I've... I talked myself into Chris Godwin.
56:29But it's just, what is the... Because I think Chris Godwin will be good for fantasy.
56:35But it's just, what truly is the upside? What is the ceiling?
56:39You have a book on your team. Oh, yes.
56:42Thank you for reminding me. So you probably don't want to do that.
56:46Thank you for reminding me that as well. Yeah, I mean, here.
56:51No, I know. Jaden Reed? I'm going to take Jalen Coker.
56:54Not that I think, you know, that his upside is completely there.
56:59But it's just, he has... Whenever he gets his opportunity, he seems to come through.
57:04Kind of reminds me of, you know, a couple guys that...
57:08Like Marvin Jones. Right. Do you remember when, like, Marvin Jones in Cincinnati, when they were...
57:13They had a couple other guys. He just kept making plays.
57:17Robert Woods in Buffalo before he was a big guy.
57:20I think Coker is a good player. I'm really sad right now to see this stupidity from Matthew Betts.
57:27The double up of the quarterback? He goes Herbert and then he comes back where Trevor Lawrence...
57:33I don't know. Was that just to hurt me?
57:36That was your target? I... That was my target.
57:39I think that's a fine strategy. We're himming and hawing about Jalen Coker and Juwan Jennings.
57:45He's just like, I'll get a guy who's probably top 12 quarterback.
57:49It's not super flex, Matt. Gosh dang it. Jason, you're back on the clock.
57:54You do need a tight end. I do need a tight end, but it's not my last round yet.
58:00So I refuse to take one. I also need a little bit of running back depth.
58:06I've got three studs, but that's it. There are no running backs left.
58:11Let me make that very clear. I don't know if you guys have heard about this.
58:16In our draft? Yeah, in this one. No, Trey Benson's still there.
58:20Actually, I'm going to take a very mirrored guy to Trey Benson.
58:24He was taken ahead of him in the same draft.
58:28I'm going to pull the trigger on Jonathan Brooks.
58:31I like it. He's 22 years old. If you think of him like a rookie this year...
58:37What about a rookie with multiple ACL tears? There's Emmitt Johnson, and there's Nicholas Singleton, and Kay Trin Allen.
58:44These are the rookie running backs I could grab.
58:47I feel like Jonathan Brooks is a better bet to get work this year.
58:52You know how when they hold you back your first year and it's called a red shirt?
58:57What if you do that twice? Is it like a maroon shirt?
59:02It just gets deeper red. I went with Matthew Golden for my 10th round pick.
59:07Shot worth taking at the very, very end of the draft.
59:11Brenton Strange and Stafford went next. I have to decide at a quarterback position now.
59:16I'm going to take the shot on Caleb because it is a stack for me with a dunce.
59:22So I will take Caleb Williams with my final pick.
59:26This is the hard part of quarterbacks this year.
59:29Not every draft you're in is going to be like this.
59:33If you're in a more casual, people love quarterbacks and they take them early.
59:37Our final two rounds here, so rounds 10 and 11, Trevor Lawrence, Dak, Stafford, Caleb, Bo Nix.
59:43Undrafted currently, Jordan Love, Jared Goff, Patrick Mahomes. Yep.
59:46Like, it's so weird to see Mahomes. Malik Willis with the rushing upside.
59:51Kyler. A strategy for deeper leagues that I like is the going Malik and Tyler Shuck as two quarterbacks.
59:58Think of one of them will hit. By the way, there are two teams in this draft that took two quarterbacks.
60:05And those names are still there. So that means 14 quarterbacks are going to be off the board.
60:11It's wild. Tesla, Nix, Singleton. Jason went with Mark Andrews as his tight end.
60:16It's a good pick in the 11th round. Don't forget about him.
60:20Wait, Tesla got drafted? Nice. Karras Godwin, Kenyon Mitchell, Jonah Coleman.
60:24Even I wouldn't do that. Denzel Boston. Mike, your final pick.
60:28Please select a player. I said select a player.
60:31Yeah, no, I get it. There's so much garbage that I could pick from.
60:36So let's just pick one and make a case.
60:39What happens if Kubiak truly has a two running back situation or the backup gets more work than we think he will for the Raiders?
60:48Mike Washington. They spent the pick on Mike Washington, athletic freak.
60:51I don't know if he's that good of a running back.
60:55But if someone's going to get something out of that, I think Koops could do it.
61:01So let's find out in the last round. And Al Borland is neglecting to make the final pick to complete the draft.
61:08Don't worry about it, man. All right. Give some concluding thoughts, Alvin Kamara, with the final pick of the draft.
61:15Oh, dear goodness. We've been doing this a long time.
61:19I ended up with Gibbs, Judkins, and Mason at running back, and I don't like it.
61:24That's not enough with Judkins' injury. In hindsight, I probably would have taken a shot.
61:30I would have taken Price again in the next round if Brooks didn't take him.
61:35But, you know, Gibbs is going to do a lot of the heavy lifting there.
61:40Nico, Odunze, Pierce, Harrison, Conception, and Golden probably the strength.
61:44Went with the onesie of McBride and Caleb Williams at quarterback.
61:47I've got my three studs at running back, Jonathan Taylor, Derrick Henry, Travion Henderson, and Jonathan Brooks behind them.
61:54My wide receivers, Rushy Rice, Carnell Tate, Michael Pittman, Kuge, and Wandale with Jalen Hurts at quarterback and Mark Andrews at tight end.
62:02I've got Devon Achan, Kenneth Walker, J.K. Dobbins, Rashad White, Mike Washington are my running backs.
62:07Garrett Wilson, Emeka Ibuka, Luther Burden, Jalen Coker at the wideout position.
62:12Burrow is my quarterback. Sam Laporta is my tight end.
62:15Looking at the draft, I mean, I love Burrow.
62:18I love the value of the sixth round. But imagining my team with like Chuba right there or even just a disgusting
62:26David Montgomery pick coming back with J.K. Dobbins. Would have felt better.
62:30I think we learned that this draft. Yeah. That running backs thin out and make you feel gross.
62:36Yeah. Yeah. Because I definitely. We could get more clarity as time goes on and training camp is going.
62:43I mean, I would much. I'll just say this.
62:46I'd much rather. I mean, McBride is a difference maker at the position.
62:51But Loveland went way later. Right? And Fannin and Warren went way after that.
62:55And I could have had Derrick Henry. I could have had Derrick Henry.
63:00That was the pick I was thinking about long and hard at 3-0-2.
63:04Gibbs and Henry with Judkins feels great. And picking up Warren in the fifth round.
63:10You know, that's a tough trade. Yeah. So, yeah.
63:13I agree. You know, first time going through the draft and seeing the running back position feel that swiftly with a lack of confidence.
63:21It is funny because in the middle of the draft there were a lot of names I still liked at running back.
63:29So, those middle rounds, you know, you had Bucky falling and Javante falling and Tootin's opportunity.
63:34Even later, Montgomery. But there is an absolute, like, once these guys are gone, there's no one left.
63:41Seems like a cliff. Yeah. All right. That is going to do it for today's show.
