0:0610 bold fantasy football predictions that Dynasty managers need to know entering the 2026 fantasy football season. We're talking hot takes today.
0:15Theo Griminger with Garrett Price dropping a Dynasty life special here. If you're a reddraft manager, pay attention to this one as well because we have a
0:22ton of ramifications that are going to be huge for you in fantasy football this year. Garrett and I have podcasted a
0:28million times together, but this is the first time he's been over with me on Roto Wire. Super stoked about that today. Uh Garrett, we're going to break
0:35it down. We've got some amazing bold predictions. I got to ask you, your first bold prediction sort of has huge reddraft implications.
0:43Is it Luther Burden or Roma Dunay this year? Tons of discourse out in the streets. Yeah, for me my my first hot
0:50take, and this is my most mild one. You know, we'll get much hotter as we go. Uh but but I am Rome over burden and I
0:56think uh you know looking at a lot of rankings and things like that it looks like that has started to switch where
1:01most people are starting to take burden over over uh Rome and when you look at what Rome did last year he he had that
1:07injury at the end of October there but before that he was a legitimate wide receiver one uh I think he comes back to
1:14that they lost DJ Moore so I think there's still going to be plenty of targets to go around for all the guys
1:19this is not an anti-burden or an anti- lovelin type take here this is I do think Romo Dunay at least will be the
1:26number one wide receiver for this team.
1:29Um, and I think he's going to have a fantastic fantastic season this year.
1:34I'm not as worried about the foot stuff as other people are. Sounds like it's just something that he's going to have
1:38to kind of adapt to the new normal, but it shouldn't affect a lot of his game.
1:42So, I'm still in on Romo Dun. So, my first take Romo Dun over Luther Burton.
1:47>> Yeah, it's a really interesting one. And I think there's a little bit of mystery in the the the Bears offense now where
1:53everybody likes every single Bear. We love Ben Johnson, but it's going to be not everyone can deliver at ADP. And certainly there's players that are
2:01easier to obtain in Dynasty. Right now I'm looking at Dynasty Data Lab uh startup cost ADP. I'm seeing Luther Burden at wide receiver 17 and we're
2:10seeing Roma Dunay at wide receiver 21.
2:14Is that where you have it, Garrett? Do you have burden ahead as a dynasty asset or are you also on Rome is the more
2:19valuable player in dynasty?
2:21>> I have Rome for both. It is close. Uh I I have them two spots apart. So it's not like I'm drastically ahead on Rome than
2:29I am Burden. I do think they can both be good players and I think they could both be good bets. But you're right, it's
2:34going to be hard for all three of these assets week in week out to be as fantasy relevant as we want them to be because
2:42this is an offense that still wants to run the football. So, it's not like they're just going to be throwing the
2:46ball 5055 times every single game.
2:49They're going to be running the rock as well. Uh, so we have to factor that in.
2:52But, I think Rome, there was a reason that he was a top 10 pick. I think he showed at the beginning of last year who
2:58he was and then we just had some weird injury stuff that that derailed it a little bit.
3:03>> Yeah. And just checking out for the reddraft listeners and viewers, Luther Burton at wide receiver 22, Roma Dunce at wide receiver 29. you are getting a
3:13little bit of a discount there and if Garrett's correct Roma Dunce at wide receiver 29 could pay off in a major
3:19way. So we talked about Burden and my first hot take here I mean it's it's got to be about my guy Acha Ibuka because
3:27I've been talking about him uh ever since I took over here at Rotoire in this podcast. Amech Ibuka I think is
3:34going to be a top seven to eight scorer in reddraft leagues this year and I think that's going to put him up there
3:40right about in that same range in terms of where we should rank him for dynasty.
3:45I think this year we see him take a massive massive step forward uh where he ends up having the sort of season that
3:52we thought he could coming out of Ohio State. unbelievable producer at Ohio State with a ton of NFL pedigree target competition surrounding him. The
4:03all-time leading receiver for for Garrett's Buckeyes um in in Ohio State history, but I'm going to say 17 1.5 points per game. I'm going to say he's a
4:12top seven wide receiver in dynasty by the end of the season. He's going to establish himself as an alpha wide receiver. And I think we saw it at the
4:21beginning of the season sort of last year what he's capable of. He averaged 20.1 points per game over the first five
4:28weeks of last season. And we've heard Zack Robinson talk about him in his Z role. So when you look at like the Zack
4:35Robinson's uh history the last two years with Drake London as his number one target and then you look at sort of Z
4:42receivers in Shawn McVey offenses. I mean you dream about Cooper Cuplike usage. Not sure it's going to be like that. But even last year Ibuka was a
4:5223.6% 6% target share guy. 127 targets last year. I think he's going to pay off in a major way. Even with the ADP
5:00steaming up in reddraft and Dynasty, he is a foundational piece to your build.
5:04If you get a chance to get Igbuka on your Dynasty roster, do it. He's going to explode this year. And I'll add a
5:10little love cuz cuz you uh you you kind of you know you not fading Burden, but I will I'll give a little love to Luther
5:16Burton. Tedo McMillan and Luther Burton also both finished as top 15 scorers at the wide receiver position. The year two, the year 2 wide receiver bounceback
5:25year for fantasy football. Last year, guys chasing those year 2 values. Lad Maki, huge ADP failure. Bri, Brian Thomas Jr., huge ADP failure. And then
5:35Malik Neighbors got injured. Uh, not his fault, but again, those three guys crushed Dune in ADP. This year, all of those year 2 wide receivers are going to
5:43pay off. We're going to be talking about the year 2 breakout/year2 improvement uh after this season. Garrett, let's keep it going. You've got another hot take
5:53here. Uh and a very very fun one. I love it cuz you're talking about one of my guys and and we podcast together
5:59throughout the uh NFL draft process and then rookie draft season. It's another Ohio State wide receiver who might go nuts this year.
6:07>> Yeah, it's not hard to love those Buckeye receivers. And look, I know I'm a fan, but they they tend to produce at
6:12the NFL level. And we've got another one that that's coming out this year that people have been dreaming about for multiple years. So, uh, but we're going
6:20to talk about the guy that was in this year's draft, and that's Carnell Tate.
6:23And I have Carnell Tate finishing as a top 12 wide receiver this year. Uh, I I know sometimes it can be tricky to get
6:30those rookie wide receivers in there as top 12 guys, but we've seen it happen.
6:35We've seen it happen. uh Malik Neighbors just a couple years ago, Brian Thomas Jr. uh just a couple years ago were guys
6:41that at least in points per game were right up there in Brian Thomas over the course of the full season. And so for
6:47me, when I look at Brian Dable, what he did, you know, speaking of Malik Neighbors, he was willing to give him a
6:53ridiculous target share right off the rip. No problem with it. His number one wide receiver when it was Stefon Diggs, willing to give him a ridiculous target
7:02share. And when you look at this Titans offense, I like Juell Robinson. and I think he's a nice player, but I don't
7:06think he's going to hinder what they want to do with Carnell Tate. And then you have guys like um Alec AO Manor and
7:14Calvin Ridley and just guys that I I don't see as any real threat to a guy that was a top four draft pick. And and
7:21that's the thing sometimes we're we're giving, you know, lower tier guys big workloads and expecting big things. This is not a lower tier guy. This is a guy
7:28that was taken in the top five of the NFL draft for a reason. So, I think the skill level is going to match up with
7:34the volume level, and I think that's going to put him as a top 12 guy this year.
7:40>> Yeah. I mean, I love it. And I had a I had a bold take involving the rookie wide receivers where I had Tate as like
7:45a top 15 value. So, I'm outside of the wide receiver oneeland. But when you look at Brian Dable, what he's been able
7:52to do twice with wide receivers with alpha profiles that are new to the team, the track record is outstanding. Stfan
8:00Diggs was traded to Buffalo. Uh Diggs was like a sixth round pick that year.
8:05It wasn't like we're talking in Reed Ralph. Diggs was like a sixth round pick coming off of like a high-end wide
8:11receiver three season in Minnesota where Thelen was sort of taking over the usage. Diggs steps into Buffalo and has a near wide receiver one overall year.
8:20Obviously, that's Josh Allen, but Diggs defied expectations, was a huge win for reddraft managers, baseball managers, and especially dynasty managers where he
8:29just became a whole another level of player. And then we saw it a couple years ago with Malik Neighbors where he
8:34had a top six scoring season. Uh, unbelievable production from Neighbors.
8:39And analytically, neighbors rookie year in New York was like top of the food chain when it came to target share, first read rate, airy yard share, was
8:50just about as dominant usage as you can get. Brian Dable could do it a third time. And they drafted Tate at that
8:55range for a reason. Uh he's an unbelievably talented player. And I think a lot of that gets lost where, you know, people are like, look at the
9:02production. Jeremiah Smith is the chosen one at the wide receiver position. So, like if Jeremiah Smith was eligible this year, Garrett, like where would you have
9:11him in your dynasty rankings without knowing the the team? Even without knowing the team, he would be right up there right away in the JSN, Chase,
9:22hookah tier. He would be somewhere in there right off the rip. Like, and I would not blame anyone to say like, uh,
9:31do I want like a 26-year-old Chase or do I want a 21-year-old Jeremiah? Like, I wouldn't blame anybody for saying like,
9:39I'll take him, you know, third overall in startups or fourth overall. Like, I wouldn't blame anyone for doing that.
9:45Uh, and then especially if we get a a juicy landing spot with a halfway decent quarterback where he's going to get a
9:51good target share and all that. Like, I wouldn't blame anyone. But I could see it as low as like wide receiver four or
9:56five. But I I can't see a situation where it'd be any lower than that.
10:01>> It's it's unbelievable. And when we're dynasty, we're in dynasty and we're talking about how valuable 2027 firsts are, it begins and ends with Jeremiah
10:10Smith. So like the Carnell Tate counting stats do not do him justice. He's an unbelievable player. I mean, think like some George Pickins type qualities like
10:20Dallas George Pickins. um and then does some like squint and see a little bit of AJ Green in his profile. Is there any
10:28sort of like current NFL player that you would associate when you're looking at a Carnell Tate Garrett when you're in your
10:35evaluative process or is it like a little bit of mix of multiple guys? He was one of the more difficult ones for
10:41me to have a a good like parallel player that I that I could pair him with because there were other guys where like
10:48it stood out to me like really quick like for me um you know I was thinking of Omar Cooper and it was oh that's
10:55Golden Tate like that is 100% Golden Tate you know like and like there were certain guys that like stood out right
11:00away and you could see him. Tate just does a lot of things really, really well. And even though he's not the exact
11:07same player, he reminded me um in his intelligence and the ways that he would win in multiple ways of like Aman Rah
11:18and Amecha Ibuka where you don't look at them and be like, "Oh, that's the most physically imposing player or that guy
11:25is just a freak athlete, but does everything well, great body control, always in the right place." So like in some senses he reminds me of those
11:34players even though stylistically he's a little different.
11:37>> Yeah, a very very interesting player and I agree with you that he's going to absolutely crush. That sort of leads me
11:43into my next bold prediction and I'm going to take a uh really a 2026 wide receiver class overall take here that I
11:52agree with you. I think Carnell Tate is going to smash. He's going to finish as a top 15 scorer at the wide receiver
11:58position, but it's not the only rookie wide receiver that's going to make an outstanding impact. Jordan Tyson will finish inside of the top 24 wide
12:07receivers. I think it might end up being a little bit more Smash Week based, but he's going to get there at the end. When
12:13we look at the final counting stats, Jordan Tyson will be a wide receiver, too. Uh, he's going to flash some serious talent this year. The Kell Moore
12:22scheme is absolutely perfect for him.
12:24I'm very bullish on Chris Alve, but I think that both of these wide receivers are going to thrive in that offense. I
12:30think it's really a Jawan Johnson takes a step back in terms of his his production this year. And I think we see
12:36Travis CTN sort of the the targets are probably going to be a little similar to what we saw in Jacksonville, especially
12:42with Alvin Kamara. And I think you're going to see a lot of almost a pass funnel to Chris Ave and Jordan Tyson in
12:49an uptempo scheme where, you know, Kell Moore offenses are going to run a ton of plays. We have some uh we have some
12:55optimism for Tyler Shuck this year. And that doesn't it doesn't end with those two guys. I also think Mai Lemon is
13:02going to be a wide receiver too from week nine on. He's going to be a second half of the year impact player as that
13:09Philadelphia Eagles offense settles in with Shawn Man, the new OC. I think Mai Lemon over the second half of the year
13:17is going to show some of the traits that had him drafted inside the first round where he is a player who possesses
13:24unbelievable amount of toughness and he is also a target earner. He's the kind of player that offensive coordinators will gravitate towards and I think we
13:32see that over the second half of the year. He also has unbelievable contingent upside if Dallas Goddard or Devonte Smith Devonte Smith were to miss
13:41some time. Uh, so I'm on all three of those guys. And a little bonus, KC Conpsion is going to end up being a
13:48playoff hero. I think there's going to be musical chairs at the quarterback position in Cleveland, but I could see KC Conpsion gaining a ton of dynasty
13:56steam over like the last six games of the year, including the NFL playoffs. I think he has big-time ability. I like
14:03Denzel Boston, too, but I think Casey Conpsion could light it on fire for like a short period of time if the Browns can
14:09get a little bit of stability. So, I think there's going to be multiple wide receivers from this class making a significant impact. What do you say
14:16about those other guys? Brief thoughts.
14:18>> Yeah. No, I love it. I I absolutely love it. And, uh, going, you know, to to Lemon, I I think he is guy that's kind
14:25of been pushed aside a little bit because, you know, we for a lot of the offseason it was the big three and he
14:32was part of the big three and now he kind of feels like he's part of a new tier now and people kind of pushed him
14:37aside a little bit. I still think he's an incredibly incredibly talented player and made for today's NFL. Casey Conception, a player I really, really
14:45like. Loved his tape. Uh, but I'm not sleeping on Denzel Boston either because I think both of these players are going
14:51to have big opportunities. The biggest question is really just going to be can can the Browns quarterbacks get them the ball? Because you have Fann in there as
14:59well. So, you have a lot of good pass catching options. It's can we regularly get them the football in the spots that
15:06they need the football? We'll have to wait and see. But yeah, no issue with those at all.
15:10>> So Garrett, you you were breaking down a lot of Dynasty roster management, a lot of a lot of tools and a lot of like
15:16rankings and all kinds of cool stuff over at Dynasty Nerds. I have a trade in my inbox. It's a big money league. It's
15:22a $750 entry FFPC rotovvis trilex format. So anybody who's listening at home and plays Dynasty, that's your
15:30start 10. So a superflex um no kicker, no defense. You have a uh you have three starting wide receivers. You have two
15:37starting flexes. It's a starting tight end with a tight end premium. Obviously, two starting running backs. Team's pretty loaded. Um >> Okay.
15:46>> Got an offer in my inbox. And this is one since you're an Ohio State guy. And we're going to talk about players that
15:52are difficult to rank in a minute.
15:54Marvin Harrison Jr., RJ Harvey, and JK Dobbins for the new hotness in Jordan Tyson. Are you pulling the trigger to
16:04get a Jordan Tyson share to trade Marv Harvey and Dobbins? So, it's a three for one, a chance for a fresh start. And to
16:15put a little context on the team, my running back room is loaded. I've got Bejon, I got Chase Brown, I got Bree
16:22Hall, um, and I have a couple of other like conceivably usable type pieces. So, I got three foundational running backs.
16:30Oh, and I have David Montgomery. So, I have like a ton of running back depth.
16:33Yeah. So, the trading away the Denver guys would not like ruin my my approach to the running back position. It would
16:39consolidate me a little bit.
16:41>> Is it too much to pay? It basically comes down to your conviction for Marv.
16:46>> Yeah. And that that really is the big thing here because I I like Tyson. I think he's a good player. Uh, obviously
16:52the injury stuff is a little bit of a concern and he's not necessarily a player that has, you know, you look at
16:58like Mai Lemon, you're like that guy has the dog in him. Like Tyson, he he he's not that type of player, which is fine.
17:05He actually reminds me a lot of Devont Smith is who Jordan Tyson kind of reminds me of. I think he's going to be
17:10a really good player at the next level.
17:12I don't know that we necessarily get an elite player out of him. And so it's a it's a bit of a a riskreward situation
17:19here because Marvin Harrison Jr. is still to this day one of the highest ceiling players in the NFL. However, we've seen the floor is pretty
17:29disappointing and not a player that you feel confident using week in and week out. For me, it is I would probably
17:39because of the extra, not that it it's a lot, but because of the extra, I'd rather use the extra to get a player
17:46where it's maybe more of a sure thing.
17:48like if I'm moving off the upside of Marvin Harrison, I'm still kind of going for the upside of Jordan Tyson, too. So,
17:55it just kind of feels like what kind of risk you're taking. They're they're just different risks, but they're both risks.
18:01If I was going to do it, it would be more for a um and I guess this guy has some of his
18:07own risk, but like a like a Garrett Wilson or a um you know, somebody like that that's a little more established
18:12and safe versus another risk. So, I I'm neutral on it. I don't have like a hard opinion on it. I probably would say no
18:22if it was in my inbox, but it's a fair offer. Yeah, let us know in the chat which way you'd go with that trade.
18:27Dobbins, RJ Harvey, and Marvin Harrison Jr. or Jordan Tyson. I'm still going to consider that one. And also, like, you know, it's always like, do you
18:36consolidate? Do you uh push? It depends on the context, but this team is ready to run. Um Garrett, we we're we're doing
18:43a big Dynasty rankings update over here at Rotoire. If you want access to my reddraft rankings, my articles, and my Dynasty rankings, use the code Theo20.
18:54Going to get you 20% off of any Rotoire sub. You're also doing a ton over at Dynasty Nerds in terms of keeping those
19:01rankings updated. Uh you're a sharp guy.
19:04There's got to be a player or two that is extremely difficult for you to rank right now. Who would fall into that ca
19:11category when you're looking at the landscape of the 2026 fantasy football season?
19:16>> One of the most difficult for me right now is a guy that we've already mentioned in this episode and it's Malik
19:21Neighbors. He is such a talent. Like just such a talent. The ball in his hands, what he can do in that offense
19:30just and there's there's really no competition for him right now. So, there's a lot of reasons to like Malik Neighbors, but this injury stuff has
19:40been questionable at best, and he's shown us in past seasons that he's not the most steady yeti guy when it comes
19:47to being available for you on the field.
19:49And so, if you want to make an argument that he should be end of the first round, beginning of the second round in
19:57a dynasty startup, I'll listen to it.
19:59you know, if you want to get a little bit younger than the the CDs and the Amman Ross and the the Jeffersons and
20:05those guys, like I get it. But then I think there's also another strong argument to be made where he should be
20:11down past, you know, we talked about it beforehand, Drake London, you know, who's typically going as wide receiver seven, wide receiver eight, like you
20:20could conceivably have him all the way down there. So I could see him being as high as my wide receiver three to four.
20:25I could see him being my wide receiver nine to 10. He's just How much are you willing to risk on him with all of this
20:32injury stuff? He kind of had a weird attitude about some things this off seasonason, too, when you know he's on the draft stream and stuff like that.
20:40You got a new coach, new situation. You never know 100% how all of that is going to pan out and shake out. In the end of
20:46the day, I think he's still a very good player, but it is just hard for me to say, am I in on him? Am I out on him?
20:53It's he's he's probably the most difficult for me.
20:57>> Yeah, it's it's super difficult because I think there's somewhere in the multiverse right now where Malik Neighbors is the wide receiver one
21:03overall right up there maybe neck andneck with Jamar Chase. Um it's very difficult. I mean, we think about the loss season last year. We have
21:13some optimism that he's going to ramp up this year. And there's going to be c certainly people in the in the in like
21:19the the the comments are probably like, "You guys are ridiculous. We're talking about a truly elite talent and we're talking about a guy who's young, but I
21:27don't know, it's a it's a funny one.
21:28Wide receiver is very strong. There's guys like Drake London. There's pivots you can make with Malik Neighbors. And then you also get into the conundrum
21:37where Malik Neighbors is not on I mean, it's not saying you're on some rebuilding roster if you have Malik Neighbors. like you could have a
21:44absolute monster contender where you've got Malik Neighbors and you enter the season potentially with a chance to win some money and win a championship. Um
21:53having a chance to pivot off of that.
21:56Dynasty leagues are difficult to win and you need to kind of be able to push the chips in. So you have to balance your
22:02long-term future versus the short term and will neighbors come back and will he also need a ramp up period. Garrett, is
22:08it something where he comes back in week five and we see maybe 65% of snaps um and we don't see the real Malik
22:14Neighbors till like week 10. If your roster can support it, I get it. But if your roster's on that on that
22:20borderline, I understand the pivot. So, he's super super interesting. And again, check out Garrett's work over at Dynasty Nerds. And if you want access to my
22:28Dynasty rankings, all of my articles, rotowire.com, theo20 gets you 20% off of any sub. And I don't know how long that's going to last, Garrett. They
22:36might they might take that one down, but I got Theo 20 going. So, uh we'll try to get some people to sign up for that one.
22:41Let's keep this thing going. You know, we've talked a lot about Jeremiah Love and then sort of the the the other
22:47running back that's become interesting this off season, certainly Jadarian Price, but you've got another rookie running back that you got a bold
22:54prediction about. Yeah, I'm going to go with Jonah Coleman as the top Broncos running back after week eight. So, basically the second half of the season,
23:03look, we we we heard the comments this off season and Shawn Payeyton was talking about how that is one of the
23:10needs for this team is to add a running back, which was kind of weird to some people because a lot of people assumed they would bring
23:16back JK Dobbins and and they did end up bringing him back, although that wasn't as sure of a thing as we thought. You
23:21know, the Jaguars pursued him and things like that, but everyone's like, well, they used a second round pick on RJ Harvey last year. Why are we why are we
23:28worried about this? We saw R.J. Harvey kind of have a very up and down season.
23:32He would have moments where he looked awesome and then moments he just absolutely disappeared. I think he profiles a little bit more as this this
23:41pass catcher, this scatback, this player that, you know, isn't looking to get the 15 to 20 touches a game. More in the 8
23:51to 12 touches a game kind of thing. And that's where he's going to be most effective. So, I think when you look at
23:56Jonah Coleman's profile, he could do it all. there wasn't an area of his game where I was like, "Oh, that's a huge
24:02concern." Now, you could argue maybe he's not as elite in certain areas as other players are, and that's why he fell a little bit in the draft. Uh, and
24:10he had the injury and things like that, too. But I think we have a very solid, steady running back that's going to be
24:15able to do everything that Shawn Payeyton asks him to do. And as much as I love JK Dobbins, and I genuinely do,
24:21uh, he he was a very highly rated running back for me coming out of college, I've believed in him. I've drafted him to my detriment at times and
24:29other times he's really paid off like he did uh last year for the Broncos and and for a bit there with the Chargers and
24:34had good seasons. All that being said, to to trust a JK Dobbins at this point to finish a season, you're taking a huge huge risk. So, I
24:45think he's got enough skill, enough talent that we'll see him progress over the course of the season and by the second half of the year, he's actually
24:53the one scoring the most points.
24:55>> I can see it. I can totally see it and attrition in this backfield I think could all like lead to Jonah Coleman. Um
25:02they drafted him in the fourth round for a reason. And when you look at sort of that that backfield they flirted with
25:08trying to sign Kenneth Walker. They were associated with David Montgomery and then they ultimately end up with Jonah Coleman and bringing back JK Dobbins.
25:16Agree with you that JK Dobbins like I mean the guy just can't stay can't stay healthy. I mean it's another Ohio State
25:23player. um where we talk about injuries and somewhere in the multiverse is JK Dobbins like a eight-time Pro Bowler.
25:30Absolutely could have been that way. Um but he's been it's been unfortunate. And then you got R.J. Harvey who when we
25:36look at the counting stats from last year and Garrett to like you were always sort of an RJ Harvey fader. Um and you
25:43talked about how the he could have his best fantasy season as a rookie. that could end up being the case because the
25:50touchdowns, the catches, it all sort of added up. But then the team sort of showed you what they thought of R.J.
25:55Harvey this off season where they significantly look to upgrade the position. I think they view it as they did upgrade the position. They just did
26:02it on day three. And I think if we're looking at like history repeating itself, day three has been a source of
26:08value, specifically like the the fourth round. Cam Scataboo last year. The year before that we had Bucky Irving. Uh Tyrone Tracy, we can throw him in that
26:18that basket where his rookie year he was really solid. Fifth rounder for Tracy.
26:21But day three running backs we've had hits. Woody Marks for a couple weeks last year. If there's going to be a day
26:27three running back who's going to hit this year and give us fantasy viability, it's Jonah Coleman. And I think you nailed it. You look at Jonah Coleman
26:34with that Doug Martin type build and you might think this guy's just a bruiser.
26:39He can handle volume, but it's the passcatching ability that's super fantasy friendly where he's a little bit more than an opportunistic pass catcher.
26:47He can have a good enough floor as a receiver that all the other stuff is great there. And best offensive line in
26:54the league, they add Jayen Wadd. This could be a really underrated offense for this year. So, I like that one a lot.
27:00I'll go running back and I'm going to go with a little different approach. I'm going to go with with my guy Bree Hall.
27:05And I I've been talking up Bree Hall. I had a chance to go on with with uh Jacob Gibbs and and Dan over on the CBS uh
27:12show the other day and I talked about darkh horse like darkh horse like running backs that could end up crushing their ADP and I still think it's Bree
27:20Hall. Bruce Hall's a third rounder in reddraft lower than what we've seen from him in recent years. And then in Dynasty, I go over and check out Dynasty
27:29data lab. And Bruce Hall, who we've seen like a couple years ago, Bruce Hall like in the conversation for RB1 overall, if
27:35not the RB1 overall in Dynasty, he's down to running back 13. He's young enough. He has the contract insulation, but the problem is everyone's sort of
27:44fading the whole the whole Jets offense.
27:46I think Gino can be a stabilizing force for this offense. I don't think Gino is going to be a guy that we want to plug
27:51into our lineups, but I think he can do enough to make this offense viable. And I look at Bruce Hall, if we can get back
27:58to the receiving profile that we saw from him in 2022, 2023, 2024, um, and last year was like the worst receiving
28:06outcome for him. Um, I think we we're going to see a little bit of a return to Bree Hall, giving us five, six points a
28:14game as a receiver this year. I think Bree Hall is going to finish as a top eight scorer at the running back
28:19position. He is going to gain dynasty value this year. Uh there's a lot of things I like about Brie Hall. I think
28:26the offensive line in New York is going to be better this year. They extended Joe Tipman. You have Arman Meu who could
28:34become an elite lineman this year in the NFL. Hall gets 3 years, $43 million.
28:40Garrett, he just turned 25 years old and people look at him like he's some older veteran. Just turned 25. So he's not
28:47anywhere near the age apex. and he was last year he was fourth among all running backs in breakaway runs. He had
28:5617 runs that went for 15 yards or more and he had eight runs over 20 yards.
29:02First, thousand yard rushing season. I think Bree Hall right now is a great target in reddraft baseball and specifically he's just this asset in
29:13Dynasty that people are overlooking. You have a very strong asset in Bree Hall.
29:17Don't overthink it. It's a return to sort of what we thought of Bree Hall this year in New York.
29:23>> I I'm fully on board with this and and you were you were mentioning the receiving profile and that's what we
29:28typically get out of younger quarterbacks and or running quarterbacks. You had Justin Fields as the quarterback last year. Didn't didn't get a lot of targets. But what did we
29:38see from Gino Smith last year? Well, Gino Smith, first of all, older quarterback. Last year, he was 10th at targeting the running back position in
29:46in the NFL. So, he's one of those guys that is willing to target the running back. If we can get him back to those 70
29:5380 targets, which means we're getting 50 60 catches, all of a sudden we're looking at a huge boost uh for a guy
30:01like Bree Hall. And if this offensive line is better and he could get out of this four to five touchdowns every year,
30:06that seems like what he gets every single year. It's four or five every year. If we can get him with more than
30:12that on the rushing side of things, even if we just get him to a seven, you know, all of a sudden he's now climbing that
30:17ladder towards higher end running back production.
30:20>> Yeah. And if you want access to Bree, you can get him in the third round. And this show is sponsored by DraftKings.

32:24All right, Garrett, let's get back after it. I talked about Bree Hall. You've got a really good one. This is a running
32:29back one. This is another like hot button player for reddraft managers, but also for dynasty managers. Why don't you talk about your next uh bold prediction
32:38right here?
32:38>> Yeah, mine, if you haven't noticed, they've gotten progressively bolder. So, Romeo Burden, then Carnell, top 12, then Jonah Coleman.
32:46Now, we're getting into the really hot ones. These last two are are are very very hot. I have Omarian Hampton finishing as a top three running back.
32:56You look at this offense here. You look at this offense, you get one of the best play callers in football added to this
33:03team. And it's not just any play caller.
33:05It's a play caller that has a history as a run game coordinator. That's what he really thrived in during his time in San
33:12Francisco and other places.
33:15McDaniels was great at coordinating the running game. Then we add back in the two offensive tackles that are two of the better offensive tackles in
33:24football. They use this off off seasonason to improve the offensive line a little bit in other areas as well. So, we're getting a better offensive line
33:31and they still didn't do a lot in the passing game as far as adding weapons or things like that. I think Harbaugh wants
33:38to go back to his roots and he wants to run the crap out of the football and then we're going to get some awesome
33:44play action stuff and we'll see Lad Maki and we'll see uh Quinton Johnson and we're going to see some of these guys.
33:49It's not that they're going to be neglected, but I think we go back to our roots. I think Omar and Hampton is going
33:54to have top five volume this season out of all these running backs. I think he's going to be efficient with it. And we
34:01know that they have both Justin Herbert, he he did it before uh with Austin Eckler and the offensive coordinator in McDaniels. Both these guys have no
34:10problem throwing the football to the running back. When you get that type of marriage, a quarterback that's willing to do it and an offensive coordinator
34:16that schemes for it, there are a lot of receptions to be had. Now, I'm not sleeping on Katon Mitchell. I actually
34:21kind of like Katon Mitchell. If there's a reason that Omar Hampton doesn't finish his top three is because Keaton Mitchell is a little more involved than
34:28we're initially expecting. But regardless, I expect huge production out of the running back room here. But I do think it's going to be with Omar and
34:37Hampton getting a heavy heavy workload.
34:40I think there's also another scenario where Mitchell's fine and Mitchell gives you that 8 to 10 touches a game and he's
34:46sort of his own thing. He's like that high value touch guy, get him out in space guy and put pressure on the
34:54defense with his elite speed and it benefits Omari and Hampton. We we all remember the Raheem Moert season, the 20 plus touchdown season in Miami. I mean,
35:04you could end up if if if the the Chargers end up being this year's breakout offense, you could still have multiple winners here, but Omarian
35:12Hampton could fall in the end zone 15 times and he could lead the NFL in rushing touchdowns, which is a huge
35:17driver of success. He's an underrated receiver. And this is not theoretical.
35:22Omarian Hampton was an elite prospect at running back who went in the first round of the NFL draft despite LA having Naji
35:30Harris who they signed. They went and they drafted Omar and Hampton. So they invested in the running back position in free agency and then we're like you know
35:38what Hampton's the best player on the board. We're taking him. And I think that the enthusiasm for Hampton would have been even higher among dynasty
35:45managers and reddraft managers alike if he wasn't in the same draft class as Ashton Genty, who was like a truly elite
35:52prospect. Hampton was awesome. I mean, 1500 plus rushing yards at UNCC. And the stat that I always like to bring up was
35:59it's like the last 25 years in ACC football history, the only players uh to have 1,500 rushing yards or more um were
36:08Travis ETN, Dalvin Cook, Lamar Jackson, and Omar and Hampton. Not a bad track record. Uh Hampton, I think, is is set
36:15for a smash season. I have him as I think I have him 15 16 overall in my most recent uh reddraft rankings. And
36:22then in Dynasty, Garrett, you're talking about he starts being in contention for right around like like running back six.
36:31Where are you at on where you're ranking him in terms of your dynasty running backs right now?
36:36>> I have a group of four running backs that you could probably put in almost any order and I'm not going to argue
36:42with you on and it's Ashton Genty, Devon Achan, Jeremiah Love, and Omarian Hampton. I technically do have Omaran Hampton in my rankings as the last one,
36:53but I have these guys roughly back to back to back. I think all of these guys are very, very talented running backs,
36:59also fairly young running backs that I think will be putting up some huge numbers uh this year and in the coming
37:06years. So, I can't get him for me, it's it's not starting at six. I can't get him any lower than six.
37:14>> That makes total sense. And I I mean Jeremiah Love truly elite talent. Ashton Genty a truly elite talent. And Devon
37:21Han unbelievable player who's been 20 points plus points per game last year.
37:27Has had 135 catches over the last two years. Um and is also just a personal favorite of mine. But all three of those
37:34guys have question marks about their offense. Even though we love Clint Kubak, you look at Miami, tons of question marks. Arizona, tons of
37:41question marks. Whereas Omarian Hampton, I've got Justin Herbert. I've got Mike McDaniel. I've got Alt and Slater at tackle. About as good as it gets when
37:50those guys are healthy. And they've been seriously put investments on the interior of the offensive line. Plus multiple tight ends, fullback they bring
37:58over Alec Engold. I mean, everything is set up. So, I love that one. Charlie Kohler. Yeah. How come we Charlie Kohler? Everybody loves Charlie Kohler
38:05right now. Everybody loves Charlie Kler right now. I >> I don't understand the receiving profile that people think he has, but he's a
38:10great run blocking tight end, which is why I love him for Omar and Hampton.
38:14>> Yeah. Stylistically, they can do a million things with that offense. So, Omar and Hampton, I'm with you. And it's like when we play mental exercises for
38:20looking at the season and we say, what player going in round two of reddraft and baseball could be a top five pick
38:26next year? Hampton is one of the easiest bets to make there. Uh because he could end up putting together a season where
38:32you're like, okay, it's Gibbs, uh it's Bejon, and then yeah, Omar Hampton, he's the running back three next year in reddraft as well. So, really, really a
38:40fun fun take there. Um, I'm going to keep it going. You know, we we talk about we talk about like all-time
38:48records and we talk about like trying to identify a player who could set one. And I know we both have some takes here in
38:57multiple positions here, but I'm going to go with Jamar Chase. And Jamar Chase returns as the wide receiver one overall this year. And I don't think that's hot
39:07for anybody, but I think that he sets a single season record for the most targets in NFL history. We haven't seen
39:16a 200 target player in since Julio Jones, I believe, was last one. I'm pulling that one up right now. But I
39:25think Jamar Chase is going to set the record for the most targets we've ever seen at the position. Marvin Harrison Jr. had a 205 target season. Calvin
39:35Johnson 204 and then Julio Jones 2015 had 203 only three. I'm going to say that he destroys that record. I'm going
39:45to say 220 targets this year for Jamar Chase. It's going to be a record-breaking season for him. The Cincinnati Bengals, I think, are a
39:54darkhorse candidate to get to the Super Bowl this year. I think it's going to be an ultimate revenge tour season for this
40:01passing game and is going to revolve around Jamar Chase. I understand the Chase Brown love. I think he's great. I understand T. Higgins, one of the best
40:09wide receiver twos in football, but Jamar Chase, I don't think we've seen the best yet. I think we could see the
40:16best Jamar Chase even better than 2024.
40:19Do I think he's going to hit the same touchdown total as he did in 2024? I'm not sure, but I think he can have a very
40:25similar season based on the volume, the catches, the receiving yards. I mean, you got to run pure to hit that 2024
40:32season in terms of touchdown. What was that, 17 touchdowns or something? That's that I can't guarantee, but I think him um being either winning the triple
40:40crown, catches, receiving yardage, and touchdowns, that's in the realm of possibilities. But I think it's receiving yardage and catches. Write that down in ink. Jamar Chase takes it.
40:51220 targets this year, Garrett. I love it. I love it. I mean, we get excited when a player has a 13 target game. This
40:59would be him averaging about 13 targets a game over the course of a season. So, that would be an incredible incredible
41:07mark. And it would be the the freest of all free squares every single week where you just you don't even have to I don't
41:13care who's on him. Give put two DBs on him. If he's getting 220 targets in a season, I don't care how many players
41:20you put on him. I'm starting that guy each and every week.
41:24>> Yeah, I'll be happy with 210. I'll settle for 210 here, Garrett, with this with this prediction. So, we'll take we'll take 210. Um, you have Why not?
41:32Why not? Why not? You know what? We're going to save save yours cuz it's it's one of my guys. I'm gonna save your
41:38final I'm gonna save your final prediction for last because it's it's redot and I love it and it it I love I
41:44love bold predictions that like agree with pretty much everything I've been saying on podcast too without being prompted. So we'll say mine is not
41:51nearly as spicy. I'm going to go with um you know we talked about the Chargers offense taking a huge step forward this
41:57year and I think that's almost a given.
41:59Um but we talked briefly about Jordan Tyson earlier and I think the other offense that takes a massive step forward this year. It's not a year one
42:07play caller. A lot of times we gravitate towards those guys who are in their first season on the job, but I think
42:13it's going to be a year two play caller that's going to take a huge step forward. And I think it's Kell Moore in
42:18New Orleans. And I think that one of the biggest beneficiaries of this is going to be Tyler Shuck. Tyler Shuck is going
42:25to finish as a QB1 this year, a top 12 scorer at the quarterback position. We all talk about how deep quarterback is
42:32this year and there's just so many ways to start your draft, but I think getting Tyler Shuck if you're a reddraft or
42:37baseball manager as your QB2 is going to be an edge. And if you're one of those dynasty managers who drafted Tyler Shuck
42:45begrudgingly and said, "H, I'm OTC here in my Superflex uh rookie draft and I'm going to take Tyler Shuck because I
42:52think he's going to start some games this year even though I don't love him as a prospect." That guy is going to get
42:57rewarded hugely. Tyler Shuck finishes as a QB1 and he is going to hold on to his job heading into the 2027 season. He
43:07gets the job. He avoids guys in the 2026 draft. He's also going to avoid guys in the 2027 draft. Tyler Shuck is going to
43:14be a like three to fouryear starter in New Orleans and I think he's going to do very well in the Kell Moore scheme. Your
43:23thoughts on Tyler Shuck sort of found money for Dynasty managers, Garrett?
43:27Yeah. So, for for this one, for me, it's less about Tyler Shuck and it's more about I want Kell Moore's quarterback.
43:38That's who I want. And so, if it is Tyler Shuck, I'm in. I want him. Uh if it's somebody else, I want that guy
43:46because I believe in Kell Moore. I believe in this offense. You look at their pace of play last year. They had
43:51one of the fastest paces of play last year. like they are going to be fantasy football gold for the foreseeable future. And so if that guy is Tyler
43:59Shuck, which he did enough last year to look like he could be the guy and I think that there is a chance where
44:04especially in that division, that division is wide open. You know, if the Saints surprise and they end up being the team that wins the division or at
44:12least makes it competitive with a seven and 10, eight n season, they might be outside of the range where they can
44:17comfortably draft a quarterback. So I I think when you pair all those things together, I'm in on this. I I think that
44:23this very well could happen.
44:25>> Yeah. And when you look at like what the offensive environment, the ecosystem where last year it was so Chris Ave
44:32based and I think a lav is set to have a a really good season. Last year gets 150 targets, 100 catches, uh over 1100
44:39receiving yards. I think it was nine touchdown grabs. He was fantastic. And Jawan Johnson had a career year for him.
44:46A lot of it was consolidated those two guys. The Saints go out and they draft Jordan Tyson in the first round. They
44:52sign Travis ETN as a big free agent running back signing. They also draft Oscar Delp on day two. Elite speed at
45:00the tight end position, like a burner.
45:02And then they draft Bryce Lance, another burner. So, they've done a lot to add speed and talent on the offensive side
45:09of the ball. And like you said, Kell Moore systems are fantasy gold. It's always one of the teams that runs a fast
45:17pace and runs a ton of plays. You have more plays to work with. So, we're in lock step. Got to end it. This is
45:24absolute fire. Your last bold prediction is amazing. Uh why don't you drop it for everybody?
45:29>> All right. My last prediction, but Brock Bowers breaks all the records this season. Brock Bowers just goes absolutely nuclear. I'm, you know, last
45:41year we saw Trey McBride 169 targets at the tight end position. I think he breaks that mark. I think we're seeing
45:47between a 170 and 180 as far as targets go this season. I think we're getting over 10 targets a game because there's
45:53just no one else there to throw the football to. I mean, look, I like Jaylen Naylor, okay? I like Jack Bes, okay? I
45:59like Trey Tucker, okay? But none of those guys are the guys that you're like, "Oh, I got to make sure I get a
46:04100 targets to that guy." No, they're just all ancillary pieces. This is Brock Bowers offense and and Ashton Genty as well, but it's Brock Bowers in the
46:13receiving game. He's going to be getting all the work. 21.4 points per game.
46:17That's what we got out of Travis Kelce and his great 2020 season. I think Brock Bowers breaks that mark as well. So, we
46:23are getting a tight end eclipsing the 20 points per game mark and potentially even breaking the 21.4 points per game uh by Travis Kelce there in 2020. I
46:34think Brock Bowers just has a truly legendary career type year. I absolutely love it. Brock Bowers, no matter what,
46:43if you're a reddraft manager, get him in the second round. Doesn't matter the format. If you're playing tight end premium, green light, take him anywhere
46:51in the middle of the first. Brock Bowers is going to smash this year. And again, 153 targets as a rookie, 112 catches as
46:59a rookie. and Garrett, he hasn't had Clint Kubak as his play caller. We saw the success with JSN last year. Brock
47:06Bower is this year's JSN. Stick with us here at Roto Wire. We're going to help you crush your leagues this season.
