0:00Big show for you here today. We've been teasing it for quite some time now.
0:04The Yahoo Fantasy Analyst League happened last night. We streamed it live on YouTube.
0:09We decided to drop the audio in the podcast feed here.
0:12This one was such a blast, man. Great draft with a ton of smart analysts here at Yahoo.
0:17Everyone that you know and love. Okay? Tons of people here.
0:20Scott Pianowski was in rare form in this draft.
0:23Rare form. Made one pick I could not believe that he made and then several others.
0:28I'm like, okay, yeah, this is classic Scott stuff.
0:31Josh and Hayden were in this draft. I was in the draft.
0:34Justin Boone, Ray Garvin, everyone you know. Joel Smith, Eric Edholm, Eric Froton, Chris Allen, Max Loeb.
0:39It was a complete blast. You guys are going to want to hear some of the thought process behind these picks, but
0:46mostly just some guys that you know here listening to the show having a blast drafting together.
0:51I think you guys are going to love this one.
0:54All that and more coming up on today's show.
0:56Let's get into it. What's going on, everyone? I'm Matt Harmon.
1:00Welcome to the biggest draft event in Yahoo fantasy football history.
1:03Yes. The Yahoo fantasy expert league is kicking off right now.
1:06This is going to be an epic evening with all of you.
1:10I know I've seen it out there. You guys are always saying, well, I'd love to see one of your draft rooms.
1:16I'd love to see how you guys perform under pressure.
1:19Well, guess what? You're going to get to see it because I'm joined today by 10 and a half distinguished gentlemen.
1:25I've got Joel Smith. I've got Ray Garvin. I've got Justin Boone.
1:29I've got Dan Titus. I've got Eric Edholm, Scott Penowski, Max Loeb.
1:33I'm here. You know, whatever. I've got Hayden Winks.
1:35I've got Josh Norris, Eric Froton and Chris Allen.
1:38We are drafting a one quarterback, three wide receiver.
1:41You'll love to see it as the lead lobbyist for big wide receiver.
1:44One flex half PPR league. A couple of just housekeeping notes before we get into this thing.
1:49One, this is a real draft. OK, this is not a cutesy little mock testing strategies, any of that.
1:55No, we are playing this thing to basically decide who's going to be friends going forward.
2:00I mean, we're all co-workers, work proximity associates. At this point, though, will any of us be friends after this?
2:06That's number one. Number two, this is not a show.
2:09OK, I might be talking in my show voice sitting in front of my microphone, but this is not a show.
2:15If anyone quotes a per whatever stat here, they immediately lose one pick.
2:19All right. That's number two. Number three rule. We're going to have some fun.
2:23We're all going to be drafted. It's going to be absolutely electric.
2:27Our first pick in the Yahoo fantasy expert league, as we're seeing the board here right now.
2:32It's Joel Smith. Joel, kick us off. Who is the first pick in this draft?
2:36This is an easy one for me. No stats needed.
2:39We're going one on one. Jameer Gibbs running back from Detroit.
2:42I mean, makes all the sense in the world.
2:45You know, surprising news today. Isaiah Pacheco on IR.
2:48I'm sure that that really made it. I think Joel was sweating the pick.
2:52He wasn't sure about it. I believe that news item right there is what sealed the deal with the first overall pick.
2:58Number two, Ray Garvin. I am coming to you.
3:01The lights are shining bright on you today. Big boy with the sunglasses on inside power move here.
3:06Ray Garvin, who is the second overall pick? I mean, this is tough, dude.
3:10This is this is tough because the hottest name in the streets right now is Dajon Love.
3:15And I really want to take Dajon Love here at one or two.
3:19Really want to do it. But since Joel left me B.
3:23John, I'm going to just rock with B. John.
3:25I wanted love, but I'm going to take Dajon Robinson here at the one or two.
3:30Well, this has gone completely chalk. Boring so far.
3:33All right. But Justin Boone here at the third overall pick.
3:36I know this man. This is a bold individual.
3:39Someone who doesn't shine doesn't shy away from the pressure.
3:42Boone, third overall pick in the Yahoo Fantasy Expert League.
3:45Let's go. We're shaking things up a little. I texted you before the show, Herman, and I said, I am going off
3:51rankings for this pick and you have to make decisions based on who you're drafting against.
3:56So there's going to be a very tough room and I don't want to end up on the wrong side of the
4:02running back cliffs that are about to happen here.
4:05So I am going off rankings. I don't really like what I'm hearing about Jamar Chase and his injury.
4:11Puka Nakua, you know, a little injury situation with him.
4:14He's back now. I'm going with Jonathan Taylor third overall.
4:17And you know, that is even different than a lot of people have it ranked at running back.
4:22A lot of people have CMC over JT. But last year when Daniel Jones was healthy, man, JT was the number one fantasy back for about 13 weeks.
4:30I'm expecting that that Colts offense is going to be healthier than people expect, man.
4:35I am going running back here. I will just say, Boone, I love the pick.
4:39Love the boldness. Running back one in 13 weeks was dangerously close to a stat.
4:44Dangerously close to a stat. I do believe when 12 normal human beings get together, they don't have to justify with stats.
4:50There were no numbers. No numbers came out there.
4:53That one had to be justified. Come on. Taking JT third overall.
4:56People are going to be shocked. 13 sounds suspiciously like a number.
5:0013 sounds suspiciously like a number. But anyways, love the pick.
5:03I love that you're willing to go against consensus here.
5:06That is why you are our guy, Justin Boone.
5:09Dan Titus, fourth overall pick. You know this is an NFL draft, right?
5:13Like, don't draft anyone that plays in the NBA.
5:15I just want to remind you. Deion Coleman's okay, though.
5:18I was looking really happy. I could get Victor Webman Yama right here.
5:22Nah, but I'm going to take the value at 104.
5:25Give me Jamar Chase all day. I don't know what Boone's talking about.
5:29Jonathan Taylor, 13 weeks ago. Nah, I'm good. Give me the wide receiver all day.
5:33Number one, wide receiver one. Let's go. All right.
5:36That brings us to our fifth overall pick here.
5:39Eric Edholm, I believe, is having some tech issues here.
5:42So I don't know if he can announce his pick.
5:45So I will just go ahead and say it's the fifth overall pick.
5:49Eric Edholm, unless I'm wrong here, I believe he is taking Pukinokua fifth overall here in the Yahoo Fantasy Draft.
5:54Excellent pick by our guy Eric Edholm there. Hopefully he can get himself connected here so that he can justify his picks going forward.
6:02No, don't worry. No justification needed, Eric. We know you're a smart guy.
6:05Great pick, Pukinokua fifth overall. Okay. Scott Pienowski, coming to you.
6:09106. Where are we going? Yeah, this is a tough spot because I got Edholm on one side of me.
6:15I got Loeb in this league. I got Froton in this league and me.
6:19We all have New England ties. Is this a Ben Affleck movie or a fantasy football draft?
6:24I don't want to take CMC here. I want to sleep at night.
6:28I know the usage last year was elite, but the efficiency really dropped off.
6:32That makes me nervous. So JSN has been through the roof one season only.
6:36Amon Ross St. Brown is the safest pick you can make in round one.
6:40Chicago obviously has all those indoor games. They have a pinball schedule set up.
6:44Jared Goff is better than people realize. Give me the sun god at 106.
6:48Scott, I know you're a loyal viewer of the Yahoo fantasy forecast.
6:52Watch every single episode, obviously. When I crashed out, when I took the eighth overall pick in the reveal of this, it
6:59was mostly because I wanted to take Amon Ross St.
7:01Brown at 108. And I knew you were going to take him at 106 because there's 11 people here.
7:07You're the only one I respect, myself included. I don't respect myself.
7:11You're the only one I respect here, Scott. I knew you were taking St.
7:15Brown 8. And here we are. I knew this was going to happen.
7:19All right, Max, you're on the clock. Seventh overall.
7:21Where are we going? Scott, I know you said you want to sleep at night.
7:26I'm going to be up late this season. I'm cool not sleeping at night.
7:30I'm not going to lie. I was between Amon Ross St.
7:33Brown and the guy who I was taking some mad.
7:36I don't know if we would have made it to 108 regardless.
7:40But the efficiency dropped off. The numbers, I won't throw stats out there, took a little bit of a step back in terms of per touch, whatever.
7:48No stats. I'm taking my chance because of that league winning upside with Christian McCaffrey at the 107.
7:53But I'm swinging early at running back. Going to be a good offense.
7:57Injuries, if they happen, they happen. But I can live with myself knowing I took a guy with that type upside.
8:03Well, with that, we just found out that Max either won the league at the seventh overall pick, or he just committed
8:10himself to an entire season of grinding the waiver wire into the absolute dust at the running back position.
8:15So there we go. That brings me to the eighth overall selection.
8:19And I have a choice here that defines who I am as a human being.
8:23As I discussed over the weekend with my good friend, Josh Norris, I either have the decision to make a claim of
8:30what I would really do based on my rankings.
8:33You know that I put out to trillions and trillions of people here that consume our content at Yahoo Sports.
8:38Or do I troll my good friend, Josh, who I know wants to take Saquon Barkley at that 10th overall pick?
8:45I've decided to side with integrity, and I'm going to take James Cook at the eighth overall pick.
8:50James was also on the Yahoo Fantasy forecast this offseason.
8:53Couldn't get him for this gig. We tried, but couldn't get him.
8:57So I'm taking him at the eighth overall spot.
8:59We'll settle for Hayden Winks being part of this league.
9:02Hayden, ninth overall, who's the pick? I've got Jackson Smith and Jigba, and all of a sudden I'm nervous that why is Matt Harmon skipping over JSN?
9:10Did I miss a reception perception or something out there?
9:13Well, first number of the show, I think JSN had like 2 million yards last year.
9:18So I'm just going to try to run that thing back.
9:21They only won the Super Bowl. I like that.
9:24Okay, that's a justifiable number when you can exaggerate by, you know, I don't know.
9:28I will do the math. That's for sure. We'll allow that one.
9:32Josh, what are we doing here? 10th overall. I mean, last year this time, I told everyone to draft Christian McCaffrey.
9:38I'm taking this year's CMC in, you guessed it, Saquon Barkley.
9:41Let's get back to 2024. Run the damn ball.
9:44Get back to this Eagles. And from there, the passing attack flourishes.
9:48So Saquon Barkley is going to have a heater of a season.
9:51I can't wait to have him on my team.
9:54All right, Josh. You know, that was a good one.
9:57And you're welcome for leaving you, Saquon Barkley. Thank you.
10:00Deciding to go the path of integrity here. All right.
10:0311th overall. Eric Froton. What do we got? Jeremiah Smith.
10:06Take him. Do it, Eric. You knew it. Do it.
10:09I didn't mean to spoil it. I didn't mean to spoil it for you, man.
10:13Go ahead. My bad. My bad. That's not your bad.
10:16That was a great pick, Ray. You know I wanted my Jeremiah Smith, Mr.
10:20College Fantasy Football here, coming to you. I was a little disappointed with Josh because I took Saquon in our little backstage thing.
10:27Because I don't know if it's me or Titus, but one of us as basketball players has the best vertical.
10:33And I wanted to do a little backwards jump in order to signify that pick.
10:37Instead, Josh gets to do it. I want to see that vertical, Josh.
10:41Instead, I'm not going to take an 8-track. I'm not going to take a cassette.
10:46I'm not going to take an MP3. I'm going straight up 90s CD.
10:50Lamb, of course, for the Dallas Cowboys. I know you like that one, Ray.
10:54I've got to say, I think that's good. I think that was the best pick announcement so far.
10:59You left me hanging there with the- Anytime you can lock up the Dallas No.
11:042 receiver in the first round. Scott, let's go, baby!
11:07That was for P&L still coming after me. Let's go!
11:09P&L still choosing violence. Top rope! The committee will be looking into how much Scott was paid off by Producer Colin to say that.
11:17But we will settle that here in just a moment.
11:20Chris Allen, you are on the clock with the 12th overall pick.
11:23What do we got? Actually, before I even get into my pick, I've got a bone to pick with every last one of you.
11:30Max, Joel, I don't know y'all as well as the rest of these fellas here, so I'll get to y'all in a little bit.
11:37But I need to know who I need to talk to about why I got stuck at the 12th overall pick.
11:44Harmon, you specifically. I mean, we just had some drinks in Canton just like six weeks ago.
11:49Me, you, Boone, I thought we were cool. But y'all stick me all the way here at the back.
11:54I don't understand who I got to talk to here.
11:57Chris, where do you want to pick? What pick would you want?
12:01Chris, you're the smartest person in the draft room, okay?
12:04I believe if we look at everybody's real job, their education level, you are the smartest one in the room.
12:10So we figured that that was the only way to even this thing out, stick you at the very end.
12:16That's how you got to placate me. Chris, where is the best slot to have this year?
12:21I would say anything towards the middle of it.
12:23Scott, this is not a show. Nobody talks about this.
12:26I thought strategy was allowed here. I apologize. No strategy talk.
12:30All right, all right, all right. So let's get to the pick.
12:33I've seen the memes already. I know the conspiracy theorists are out there about the Minnesota Vikings and their change of quarterback.
12:40All we need is their guy under center to be better than J.J.
12:44McCarthy. So I'm looking at their wide receiver one.
12:46Pretty sure, according to some website that studies wide receivers, their number one guy has been pretty solid these past three to four years or so.
12:54So I'm looking at Justin Jefferson as my first pick to round out the first round.
12:59Excellent selection there. You'll love to see it. All right, so let's call up the board here.
13:04So far, number one overall to Joel Smith, Jameer Gibbs, number two overall to Bijan Robinson.
13:08Justin Boone pulls the Blake Bortles of the draft.
13:11Surprise at the third overall with the Jonathan Taylor here.
13:14Jamar Chase, Pukanakua, Amon Ross St. Brown to Scott Pienowski.
13:17Max takes Christian McCaffrey. I took James Cook. Hayden takes just some guy that won offensive player of the year.
13:23Jackson Smith and Jigba. Josh Norris gets his guy in Saquon Barkley.
13:27CeeDee Lamb and Justin Jefferson to Eric Proton and Chris Allen, respectively.
13:30Chris, we come back to you to begin the second round.
13:33Who are we going with on the turn? Well, I couldn't get my guy, Jamar Chase.
13:38And first, I have to give a shout out to my man, Jamie, who got me with this nice triple crown t-shirt.
13:45And for those that don't know, I mean, just balling with Jay.
13:48I mean, go and check him out on Instagram.
13:51He's got a great swag. Oh, yeah. It's dope, man.
13:54He's got such good artistic skill. But if I can't get Jamar Chase, y'all wouldn't let him slide to the 12th.
14:00I'll go ahead and get one of his teammates.
14:03I'm going to go with Chase Brown here. At least try and have some rooting interest in my Bengals, even though for
14:09the most part, they take years off my life, add to my anxiety every Thursday, Sunday, and Monday.
14:15But if I'm going to invest in the Bengals offense this season, I'll take Chase Brown.
14:19All right. Well, there you go. A nice Homer selection.
14:22I believe our first Homer pick of the draft.
14:25You have to sort of kind of respect it.
14:28Eric Froton, back on the clock here with the second pick in the second round.
14:32You know, in the backstage segment, we were talking about a movie in particular.
14:36But then, you know, we asked Matt, Matt, what movie is your favorite movie?
14:40He didn't have an answer for us. He said he's a TV show guy.
14:45Well, I've got a TV show for you, Matt.
14:47That's my favorite TV show all time. I have been comped to Dominic West, a.k.a.
14:52McNulty, quite a few times by my friends. And I'm going to go with this one.
14:56Omarion coming from the wire. Omarion Hampton. Everybody loves Omar.
14:59Everyone's favorite character of the wire. And that's my boy Omarion.
15:03And I'm out here in Southern California, just like Hayden.
15:06So, you know, when in Rome. Love it. All right.
15:09There we go. Omarion Hampton. Perfect. Listen, I understood that reference.
15:12The wire. Excellent television show. All right, Josh. Third overall selection in the second round.
15:16Where are we going? I mean, I hear a lot of whining at the one to turn here from Chris Allen.
15:22I hear a lot of television talk from Proton.
15:25Hear a movie talk from Pianowski. I'm just talking ball carriers.
15:28That's going to rack up a ton of touchdowns and a ton of yards.
15:33We're going back to back. K9. Ken Walker, the third.
15:36This is exactly why I won the 10th selection.
15:38This is what all of you should be doing in your home leagues.
15:42Saquon, then Ken Walker, and we flourish. Well, great.
15:45I'm disgusted by the fact that Josh is just going to be so content.
15:49So happy. I'm so happy with these two selections.
15:52I'm so happy. I will not be listening to the Josh and Hayden show for at least another week because I know
15:58Josh will be victory lapping us until. All season long, baby.
16:01Hayden, unfortunately, you are going to have to listen to Josh yap about these two selections.
16:06So what are you doing here with the fourth pick?
16:09It's been years of that. I'm used to it at this point.
16:13What I like about this range is you don't have to choose which running back you want.
16:18You kind of just let the board fall to you.
16:21And my decision was between Derrick Henry and Devon HN and half PPR.
16:24I'll take the little guy, Devon HN. I just don't think that the Dolphins have anywhere else to go with the ball.
16:31I believe this coaching staff, when they say he's not coming off the field and they need him 40 touches per game,
16:38they're going to drag him off the field at the end of the games because he's touched the ball so much.
16:44I think that's the only pathway forward for the Dolphins and underrated offensive line for much of that.
16:49Pretty good analysis there. I will say I know that you guys do some videos on your YouTube channel.
16:55I believe Josh and Hayden where you talk about just draft good players from good teams.
16:59I'm sure I've seen that on one of your very Josh thing.
17:03Very beautiful thumbnails. Immediately points the finger at the other guy.
17:06I think it, you know what, Josh? I think it is good analysis.
17:10And that is why at the fifth pick here, I'm going to take a running back who plays for a team that's good every single year.
17:18That's going to be good again this year. They're counting on him.
17:21I'm counting on him. Derek Henry, come on down with the fifth pick in the second round.
17:26Time. Father time. The only one who's going to beat father time is Derek Henry.
17:31And that's why he is on my team. He got me back, Harmon.
17:35I so badly wanted him to get to the middle of the second round.
17:39Is there any attrition in Derek Henry's game? It doesn't show.
17:42I mean, he's just as efficient as ever. And even if he has a bad season, he'll fall in the end zone 13 times.
17:49When you look at, oh, I was going to court a quarterback rushing touchdown stat, which Lamar Jackson lags in from the
17:56five and in, but then I'd probably get booted off the show.
17:59But Derek Henry is a perfect second round pick in fantasy.
18:03Scott, if at any time during this show, you or this stream, excuse me, this draft, you'd like to tell me how good my picks are.
18:10You can jump in any single time. Okay. So great work by you there.
18:15That's why Scott Pinozzi is a hall of famer because that was some great analysis on a great pick by me.
18:21Max sixth overall. Where are we going here? This is tough because I also love the idea of good players, good teams.
18:27But I'm okay with taking a really, really, really good player on a, an at okay, slightly below average.
18:33Wait to see. I don't know. I'm not sure how I feel about the quarterback position on either of the premium tight ends, but you know what?
18:41I think Clint Kubiak called him a football robot from heaven.
18:44I'm going to take my chance on him. I was between the two Raiders.
18:48I was, but I'm going to go Brock Bowers here at the 206 football robot from heaven.
18:53That is a great quote. Put that one on the t-shirt there.
18:57You know, you had me in the first half, but you got me with a pretty good sell there for this pick.
19:03Scott, you're on the clock with the seventh pick in the second round.
19:07And I think this is going to be a fantastic selection by you.
19:11So go ahead, Scott. What do we got? Yeah.
19:14Looking to trade down. If I could, I was really hoping the dream was chase Brown.
19:19Unrealistic. The realistic dream was Derek Henry. Didn't get him because I started with the sun.
19:23God, I really need a running back here. I do not want to get behind the eight ball at the running back position this year.
19:31So HN is somebody I wouldn't have taken because I still want to invest in Miami for three months.
19:36So give me, even though I'm a Blake Corum guy this year, I think he's one of the great middle round picks.
19:43And I think he's going to get maybe 40% of the running back production with Los Angeles.
19:48But Kyron Williams is still the main guy. He's another player who could have a bad season and fall on the end zone 10 plus times.
19:56I know they don't throw to the running backs in Los Angeles.
19:59So what? And with the defense, as good as it is, there's going to be a lot of game flow going to running backs way.
20:07Give me Williams in round two. Oh, excellent. That was a spicy one.
20:11Did not see that one coming. Scott, you took me by surprise there, but I totally get it.
20:16You don't want to fall behind at running back this year.
20:19Eric, Eric, are you on your coming in on your phone?
20:22What's what's going on here? Just in time to make your selection here.
20:26Eric, eighth pick. Where are we going? I think I'm going AJ Brown here.
20:30I realized the risk of going back to back receivers, especially as the running backs go melting away very quickly here.
20:37But I want firepower. And also, I was under pressure here as I try to figure out some of these tech issues right now.
20:44So that's on my end. And I apologize about that.
20:47But yeah, AJ is the guy, man. He's going to go nuts this year.
20:51Under pressure. Bowie and Queen. Can't go wrong. I don't know.
20:54Vanilla ice it for you younger guys. Yeah. Before we get any more music references from before I was born, Dan Titus,
21:01take somebody here with a ninth pick. Thanks for that, Harmon.
21:04Because I was like, vanilla ice? Damn, we taking it back.
21:07Wow. Boone was right. This run on running backs is ugly.
21:10And so I got to scoop one. Don't feel great about it.
21:14But I think my son dropped me a gem here.
21:17Left me a little. I don't know if we can get in on that.
21:21Little Ashton Gentry. It's a certain player. So hey, let's run it.
21:25Yeah, that's who I would have taken with the next pick.
21:28So you got me there. It's now up for the other 11 of us to make sure that Mike Washington doesn't go to Titus.
21:35Yeah. Personal challenge. All right. That puts me on the clock here.
21:39Man, I really wanted Gentry. I was kind of hoping he was going to fall back to me.
21:44I still think there's he's really a one, two round value.
21:47I think he's going to be OK after the first couple of weeks.
21:51But regardless, this is why I went running back in the first round.
21:55I'm going with Drake London here. Now we are back to the rankings.
21:59Highest player on my board. Last year before he got hurt, he was one of the best fantasy receivers.
22:04And I know there's questions about the quarterbacks, but his quarterback for most of the season last year was Michael Panix Jr.
22:11And that's who's going to be his quarterback this year.
22:14So I think he's going to be fine. Cooper Rush talent elevator.
22:17That's all I got to say about that. Two questions here, Boone.
22:21Two quick follow up questions to that pick. One, are you nervous that it is September 1st and the Falcons have yet
22:28to admit who they are actually going to have to start in week one?
22:32And my second question is, how much did that bother you more or less than how you really wanted to say the
22:38exact number of how good Drake London was before he got hurt?
22:42I know it was right on the tip of your tongue before he said he was one of the best.
22:48So you may answer now. I mean, I teased you that I was going to bring a ton of stats today, but
22:54I'm being nice and I won't mention any of them.
22:57It's fine. It's my nature to do it, but that's all right.
23:01We don't have to. No, man. I'm not worried about the quarterback situation either there because two is out here commenting on his own post.
23:08His head is not in the game. We're fine.
23:11What are we doing here? What are we doing?
23:14What are we doing? Boom. Not worried about the quarterback.
23:16Get to the next pick, Harmon. Let's go. You should be very worried about the quarterback.
23:21Yes, we know. We know what it is. And let me let me let me just let me show you better than I can tell you.
23:29I say I'd rather see a sermon than to hear one any day right here at the 11th pick.
23:35No, no. I missed out on Dajon Love. I missed out on Dajon Love.
23:39But we're going to make it happen right now.
23:41Oh, boy. Here we go. This ought to be good.
23:44No props. Here we go. Oh, God sakes. GP!
23:47George Pickens, sign me up. Easy money. Best quarterback in the league.
23:51Projected 4,500 yards. That was the best offense in the league.
23:54GP, let's go. Was that a number? Can we solo up, Ray, one more time just to note how much that helmet does not fit his head?
24:02I mean, my God. Same for Romeo, Doug. Yeah, you couldn't scam anybody on Instagram, Ray.
24:07Yeah, Ray was not scamming anyone on Instagram. That is for sure.
24:10All right, let's move on before he hears any of this, and he gets his wired headphones back in here.
24:16Joel, please get us back on track. Take the final pick in the second round.
24:21One to go. I do have a question for you, Harmon.
24:24Earlier, you said Chris Allen is 12th because he's the smartest.
24:27Does that mean anything for me? Don't read into that.
24:30All right. Just in case, just in case, I'm going to make you happy here.
24:35I'm going to go Nico Collins. End of round two pick, first receiver.
24:38I mean, Joel, you're actually picking first because you're the most handsome, and you got to lead off with your best foot here.
24:45And what a great pick by you. Okay, I actually consider...
24:48Thank you. All the targets. I consider Nico Collins at the 2.05, but ultimately went boomer ball here with two running backs back-to-back.
24:55So you got to love that pick by Joel.
24:58Let's take a look at the big board here so we can get through round two.
25:03It begins with Chase Brown, the homer pick, to Chris Allen, to Marion Hampton, to Eric Froton, Kenneth Walker, to Josh Norris.
25:09He's never been happier in his entire life. I know he just had a kid like eight months ago, but this is
25:16the happiest Josh has ever been here. Kenneth Walker and Saquon Barkley, give me a break.
25:20Like Hayden takes Devon Achan. Anytime you can invest in the worst offense in the league, you got to do it.
25:27I take a big boy running back from a great team.
25:30That's how you get this thing done. Brock Bowers goes to Max.
25:34Scott Pienowski takes Kyron Williams. Eric Edholm barely connects, and he takes A.J.
25:37Brown. Ashton Gentry to Dan Titus. Boone takes Drake London.
25:40George Pickens goes to Ray Garvin in the mini helmet.
25:43And Joel Smith, a fantastic pick at the end of the second round, and Nico Collins.
25:48Joel, you are back up here. Who's the third member of your team?
25:52This one was tough. Collins, easy pick without Jaden Higgins there anymore.
25:55That was an easy decision. This one, it's like, do I take the injured receiver, the injured running back?
26:01And I know running backs are going early right now, but the three receiver league is just enough for me to take
26:08Malik Nabors right here and go all in on the risk.
26:11Well, that was a good pick. Thank you. Thank you.
26:14You're two for two. I think that's a good pick.
26:17You know, you really got it on easy street there with Jameer Gibbs, and I'm not liking how the rest of your team is coming together here.
26:25Ray, now that you're back in your semi-professional garb here with the Crocodile Dundee hat and, I don't know, the Elton John sunglasses.
26:32These are the Jaden Blue versions of the glasses.
26:34These are too soon. Too soon. Anyways, second pick of the third round.
26:38I'm going back to the running back. Well, I know a thing or two about receivers, and I trust my ability to
26:45find some a little bit later, but RB's going to get nasty.
26:48Give me Travis A. Chan Jr. from the New Orleans Saints.
26:52I want some of that Travis A. Chan in my life.
26:55All right, Boone. Third pick. Where are we going?
26:57If the board had gone differently, I would have taken this guy at my last pick.
27:02Chris Olave, the Saints. We know Jordan Tyson's going to be out for a bit here.
27:07Olave last year, just killing it. Tons of targets in that offense.
27:11Up tempo. Love Olave in the third round. Yeah, I love this pick as well.
27:15Good one from you here, Justin Boone. Fourth pick.
27:18Dan Titus. Bird gang. Glad I got my man, Devontae Smith, former Heisman Trophy winner.
27:22This guy is going to ball out. So I'm happy getting him in the third round.
27:27Let's go. All right, Eric. Fifth pick here. You've got the we're FaceTiming our grandpa from Christmas morning or whatever angle here.
27:33Who are we taking with the fifth pick? Well, when I grew up, the Dallas Cowboys were my favorite team.
27:39No, I'm not going to go that way. Yeah, Devontae Williams coming off career year.
27:44Needed running back. Obviously two receivers to start the draft.
27:47Be like, you know, the touchdowns are going to be there.
27:50The volume is going to be there. Had to do it.
27:53Had to pull the trigger there in the middle of round three.
27:57Eric, that was a pretty good Jerry Jones impression.
27:59I think you should have just ridden through that with.
28:02I'm an old man. What can I say? Scott, you're up.
28:06Where are we going? You know, I almost took Devontae Williams in the middle of round two.
28:11And if he had gotten to me, whenever a pick lasts the next round, it's like a snap call.
28:16So Eric breaks my heart by taking Devontae Williams.
28:19Love the Dallas Carnival this year. Very tight concentration.
28:22So because I have a running back and a receiver, I can kind of go best player available.
28:27Zay Flowers, uncoverable. I realize the touchdown count has been low, not an actual stat.
28:32But Declan Doyle, who's about as old as my paper boy, could probably turn this offense into a happy song again.
28:38So I think Ray Flowers makes sense anywhere in the third round.
28:41Snap him up as my wide receiver too. I like it.
28:45I think Zay has got an incredible ceiling this year and a good floor combination there.
28:49Max, where are we going? This is tough because I love Zay Flowers too.
28:53I feel like the last couple picks, the guy or guys I want go right before.
28:58I feel like that's going to be a theme here.
29:01But I am going to keep leaning into premium as crazy as it sounds.
29:05I kind of want to zag when everybody else is zigging, at least as the board is going right now.
29:11I could absolutely regret this in a couple rounds when my RB2 is whoever is going to be the RB2 for the San Francisco 49ers.
29:19But I'm going to go, again, premium Josh Allen, lock down my quarterback.
29:23Whoa. All right. Because it's a very shallow quarterback pool this year.
29:26So obviously Max didn't want to get caught not having one on week one.
29:30Exactly. Exactly. All right. Perfect. That brings me to the eighth pick in the third round.
29:35And listen, I'm going to stick to the rankings.
29:38I'm going to stick to integrity. I'm talking about how this guy was incredibly mispriced as a fourth round pick for the vast majority of the summer.
29:46So let's take Jalen Waddell here in the third round.
29:49Someone that I think has an incredible ceiling. Can be a top 10 wide receiver in fantasy this year.
29:54Let's go to Hayden here. Ninth pick. Where are we going?
29:58Yeah, you guys bullied me for the Devon A.
30:00Chan selection in round two. I learned my lesson.
30:03I'm going to go with the Cardinals running back.
30:06Jeremiah Love here. I don't know the last time you've drafted a third overall pick sometime in the third round.
30:11But I'll take my chances. Just spitting in the face of correlation to running backs and winning programs.
30:17I admire that boldness. Listen, I thought about Jeremiah Love at my pick as well.
30:21But three straight running backs. The chat would have been all over me as a receiver guy here.
30:27Josh, 10th pick in the third round. What are we doing?
30:30I almost did the same thing, Matt, with Reese Hall here as my third running back in a row.
30:35But, you know, the last time that T. Higgins played 17 games with Joe Burrow, he was the wide receiver four in points per game.
30:43That didn't exist. That's pretty good. Matt, don't act like you didn't hear that because it's fantastic when you get him in the third round.
30:50And that was my selection here with the 10th pick in round three.
30:54Hard to argue. I'll allow. You know what? Everybody gets one stat.
30:58So Boone's already used his. You know, Josh, you've used yours.
31:01Proton, you don't have to quote a stat, but you do have to pick someone here at the 11th spot.
31:07Well, since Scott brought up the seminal classic Under Pressure, which is my favorite song of all time.
31:12And a fun fact, I actually performed Under Pressure in Canton at the Fantasy Football Expo in 2022 with my former co-worker, Danny Carter.
31:19And we brought the house down. So thank you for bringing that up, Scott.
31:24No offense to Vanilla Ice. Prefer under pressure. I, under pressure, am going to take Rasheed Rice.
31:29And you know it's a pressure pick because who knows if he ends up playing the full season.
31:34No guarantees with Mr. Rice. But that's why I'm a wild man.
31:37Great pick. Probably the most polarizing player in the early rounds this year is Rice.
31:42I feel like half your room will love that pick and half your room will be like, thank you.
31:48I didn't have any interest. I'm actually in the thank you.
31:51I didn't have any interest. Well, the whole room loved Under Pressure.
31:54The whole room loved it. Under Pressure, yes. I don't want to draft Slant Boy 2.0.
31:59I'm good on that. I'm good on that. The actual Slant Boy.
32:03And that's our first player who's been in jail in the last couple of months.
32:07So there we go. We've checked that box. Chris Allen finished up the third round here.
32:12I'll also go wide receiver here. Let me get Ladd McConkie.
32:15I'm loving what I'm hearing out of the Chargers camp right now.
32:19Mike McDaniel joins the squad in calling plays. You know what we get when we're talking about Justin Herbert as a quarterback.
32:25And if I'm going to take his wide receiver, if I can get his wide receiver one, I'll do just that.
32:31So give me Ladd McConkie here. That hurts. I wanted him in the fourth round so badly.
32:37McDaniel is an adult in the room calling the plays.
32:39With the motion and the slants. Ladd McConkie is going to be the player I'm going to try to roster the most this year.
32:47What a great pick that is. Scott, there was no shot you were getting Ladd McConkie.
32:51I know. I know. But I do admire the tenacity there.
32:55All right. Let's see the board here so we can recap round three.
32:58We started off with Joel Smith taking Malik Neighbors.
33:01Travis Achan goes to Ray Garvin. Chris Olave to Justin Boone.
33:04Devontae Smith to Dan Titus. Eric Edholm takes Javonte Williams.
33:07Zay Flowers to Scott Pinowski. Josh Allen to Max.
33:10Jalen Waddell to me. Jeremiah Love to Hayden. T.
33:13Higgins to Josh Norris. Rasheed Rice to Eric Froton.
33:15Ladd McConkie to Chris Allen. Can we pull up the team card for Max here who has yet to take a wide receiver?
33:22Yeah. We got Chris McCaffrey. We got Brock Bowers.
33:25We got Josh Allen. I mean, this guy doesn't know what a onesie position is.
33:29Never heard of it. Max. Max. No wide receiver yet.
33:32Justify yourself. No wide receiver yet. I understand two things.
33:35Two justifications. Number one, I said it. I want to zag when everybody else is zigging.
33:40At some point in the draft, there's going to be a run on quarterbacks, tight ends, maybe both.
33:45And receivers who I really like are going to fall.
33:48I think I could be wrong. Number two, though.
33:51Wrong. I trust my ability. The run might be the 10th round.
33:55The quarterback run might be round 10. You know what?
33:57If that's the case, I'll live with it. But I do honestly trust my ability to look at receivers and schemes based
34:04on matchups and find the guys, again, good players and good offenses that could provide some big weeks where my floor is
34:11already pretty high with, if they're healthy, Josh Allen, Brock Bowers, Christian McAfee.
34:14I would just be worried that wide receiver is the hardest position to find something out of nothing, whether it be a
34:21waiver wire pick or a double digit round pick.
34:24I realized Puka Nakua was something that happened. But I feel like running back is all about opportunity.
34:29I think the tight end board is deep. Obviously, quarterback is silly deep.
34:33So I think, Max, you can pull off this strategy.
34:36I wouldn't have the stones to try it. But I appreciate you saying I had the stones to try it because I was terrified doing it.
34:43Hang on. There you go. All right. I'll send you a reception perception bid show.
34:48We can. You might need it here. I did.
34:51A little bit. Let's get it started here with the third with the fourth round.
34:55Excuse me, Chris. Kick us off. So I'll go running back here because I'm seeing a lot of the value and the talent here start to drop off.
35:03And I'm going to go DeAndre Swift. But I think the running back, I'd say the running game for Chicago is being under discussed during the offseason.
35:11It's been more about what's your take on Roma Dunze, Luther Burden, Colston Loveland, any of those guys.
35:17So we're still talking about an offense that's still going to run the ball quite a bit, especially once they get in scoring position.
35:24So I'm going to get the guy that's more than likely going to carry the mail for that offense, especially with Kyle Mononga nursing a hyperextended knee.
35:32Give me DeAndre Swift here. I like it. Yeah, I think Swift has been really underrated, under discussed.
35:37Ultimate boring value pick. I love that pick so much.
35:40Scott Pienowski, of course you love the boring value pick.
35:43Eric Froton, you are never a boring man here.
35:46Take another one right off the top. Never been accused of that.
35:49Never will be. Yeah, I am taking from the University of Arizona, Ted Aroa McMillan.
35:54The reason why is, Scott, I have a fun fact for you.
35:57Scott is from Chelmsford, Massachusetts. I am from Wilmington, Massachusetts.
36:00Today, Scott, I just learned that the University of Arizona has sent a cease and desist letter to the Wilmington High School
36:07Wildcats for using, my high school is using their logo.
36:10For Arizona, the Wildcats, cease and desist letter. I got to give some respect to U of A for a classic heel
36:16move of sending a random high school in Massachusetts a cease and desist for using their logo.
36:21Respect. Crazy. I'm going to cease and desist any more Massachusetts talk for this draft.
36:26Josh, I'm going to pull back the curtain here for people.
36:29I know who Josh is about to take here, and it makes me sick how I can already see him smiling.
36:35There's nothing more disgusting than this. Josh, please go ahead and make yourself happy.
36:39This is the best day of my life, guys.
36:42I mean, look, I look at my rankings. Garrett Wilson is 36th.
36:46Emeka Buka is 41. I go up. Do we remember this is half point PPR that touchdowns are pretty sick?
36:52So you can go bell cow in round one, bell cow in round two, bell cow in round four with Brees Hall here in the fourth round.
37:00I mean, three running backs. He's going to be my flex all season long.
37:04Boy, oh boy, guys. I'm feeling good. Can I use my stat of the day for Brees Hall touchdowns?
37:09Four, five, five, and four. You're talking about touchdowns, Josh.
37:12I'm talking about Brees Hall. Hayden, we just did a show yesterday ranking 50 running backs, and you didn't have a negative word to say about Brees Hall.
37:21So I know what this is right now. You're drafting us.
37:24And now my team has changed. Raw touchdowns, that's totally fine.
37:27That's just, you didn't do any per this, per that.
37:30So that's totally fine. I do hope Josh's wife is not watching this draft when he just said this is the best day of his entire life.
37:38But we will maybe revisit that when we get into the double digit rounds.
37:42Hayden, take someone here. I'll take his teammate Garrett Wilson.
37:45He's probably just going to score more touchdowns in Brees Hall this year.
37:49That's my chance. I mean, so Hayden's now got a jet, a dolphin, a cardinal.
37:54Two Buckeyes? Yes. Yeah, there you go. The other option was draft another Arizona Cardinal, and I couldn't do that.
38:00No, he could not do that. I did consider said Arizona Cardinal here with the fifth pick in the fourth round, but I'm not going to do that.
38:08I'm going to take Emeka Ibuka on this one because, listen, oh, he's got a turf toe injury.
38:13He might start the season slow. Just like Max, I am confident in my ability to just plug someone else into the lineup if he misses week one.
38:21Big whoop. I still think this guy's going to get a bazillion targets.
38:25He's in a great role for him. Emeka Ibuka, great fourth round pick by me.
38:30Shout out to me. Max, you're up, buddy. I'm also operating along the phrasing.
38:34I believe we just used touchdowns are pretty sick.
38:37Good players, good offenses. Honestly, I was between two guys here, but I'm going to take my chances on a player who
38:43I think might be in the best offense in the NFL.
38:46Scored a lot of touchdowns last year. Granted, probably going to take a step back in terms of the overall touchdowns.
38:53I'm not going to throw out any numbers, but I'm going to take Devontae Adams to the Los Angeles Rams.
38:59I also think there is a chance that Pukenuku misses a little bit of time.
39:03Don't know what it's going to look like. Don't know when.
39:06But that is a real possibility, and I'll factor that into my decision as well.
39:11All right. We got, you know, if you cut his age in two, maybe you could start two players there for Devontae Adams.
39:18So there we go. No wide receivers yet. He takes one wide receiver.
39:21It's one of the oldest in the league. Scott, you're up.
39:25Harmon, you think you know me. You think I'm all about boring value veterans and healthy players.
39:30I'm going totally off type here with a helium buzzy guy who's been hurt all summer.
39:34Give me Luther Burden. What? The Bears can't help anything.
39:37Come on. The Bears. You're right. They were going to fix their defense with Kobe Bryant.
39:42He's already hurt. Probably going to miss the entire season.
39:45Ben Johnson has talked about setting scoring records. They'll have to set a scoring record if they want to get back to the playoffs again.
39:53Talk about pinball teams. Talk about carnival teams. The Bears checked that box.
39:56I want pieces of this offense. Consider Colston Loveford here, but if Burden's healthy, he's a smash as my wide receiver three.
40:03And this is the guy who gave me a hard time for Rasheed Rice.
40:07This guy right here. Scott just. Okay, wait a second.
40:10I don't know. I don't know what is more shocking.
40:13The fact that Scott took the Twitter buzzy guy or Scott, Mr.
40:17Yeah. How many times have I said this over the years?
40:20The voice of Scott Pienowski ringing in the back of my head.
40:23Don't draft into injuries. They're going to find you.
40:26You take the guy who's like missed all of training camp.
40:29Well, I don't know. I don't know who you are anymore.
40:33My doctors cleared him. We're good. Oh, well, great.
40:35As long as the Pienowski doctor cleared him, then we're all set.
40:39You can start your own Twitter doc Twitter page.
40:41That'd be great. Eric, please. I'm shook by this.
40:44So get us back on track. Well, I was really, really tempted to take a third wide receiver with the same bye
40:51week, but resisted that as best I could and decided to go tight end.
40:55I'm going with a high floor player, I believe, even with the situation being what it is.
41:00I think Trey McBride is about as reliable a guy as you can find these days.
41:05High volume, you know, high production. I think that offense may end up being better and they're going to be, you know, playing in some high scoring games.
41:13So I feel pretty good about this, even though, you know, that running back for him is looking a little lonely.
41:19No, I think this is fine. I'd be scared of Trey McBride in the second round.
41:24I really like him as a fourth round pick here.
41:27So good work, Eric. All right, Dan Titus, you're up.
41:30Shout out to my man, Max, man. He was right with the zagging.
41:34Five picks of wide receivers sandwiched between a couple of tight ends.
41:37I get your Darian price. Yesterday's price and now today's price, baby.
41:41Give me the Seattle Seahawks championship. This guy's RB1.
41:43There's not a lot of running back. So thank you guys.
41:47Appreciate you. A lot of running backs in Seattle and they're all going to touch the ball.
41:52All right. Boone, you go ahead and make a pick here because I got to scroll down to scratch off the name Darian Price.
41:59So while I'm scrolling down here to get to Darian Price's name, go ahead and make a pick here.
42:05Well, this spot, I've the whole round was targeting one of these bears guys, either Burden or Loveland.
42:10I have Loveland actually ahead of burden in my rankings.
42:13We just heard about how this bears offense is going to try to put up as many points as they can.
42:19They have the weapons to do it. Colson Loveland is going to join the elite tight ends this year.
42:25It's a bit of a projection, but we saw it on the stretch last season.
42:29He can do it. No, I think this is a good pick.
42:33I would have taken him or at least I considered last four games, double digit targets, man.
42:38I give you all of that. Thanks, Scott. I've already used up my stats.
42:42So thanks for throwing that in there. All right.
42:45That's Scott's one stat. All right. So no more stats from Boone, Scott or Josh.
42:49Everyone else, you maybe get one. We'll see. Ray.
42:52And as we've talked about throughout the whole damn offseason, the best bears value is the one who takes Romo Dunze last.
42:58So whoever gets Romo Dunze absolutely gets the best value of all of them.
43:02I mean, y'all talking about touchdowns. You're talking about yards.
43:05You want consolidated offense. Best damn offense in the league is probably Detroit Lions and nobody wants Jamison Williams.
43:11Yeah. Give me a guy who can flip the math in one play.
43:15I will gladly take Jamison Williams right here at the back of the fourth round.
43:19Thank you very much. This Jamo's year, man. This is Jamo's year.
43:23Yeah, I think that's what the Lions say basically every year.
43:26Every year is his year. And then he pretty much has the same year every single season.
43:31So solid pick there from Ray Garvin. Joel, finish up the fourth round.
43:35Yeah, I feel like I'm going to throw up because I'm drafting back to back players that are both injured with Matt Nagy as their play caller.
43:43But we're going to go Cam Scadabo. Take the value at running back before it falls off big time.
43:49All right, Joel, that was your first bad pick, you know, but everybody has to have one.
43:54That's OK, though. You know, you take a meme player here at the end of the fourth round begins in the fourth round with DeAndre Swift.
44:01Eric Froton takes Teddero McMillan. Josh Norris takes Brees Hall.
44:04And, you know, it's just just destroys his family in the process saying this is the best day of his life.
44:11Garrett Wilson to Hayden Winks. Emeka Ibuka to me.
44:13Devante Adams to Max. Scott Pienowski takes Luther Burden.
44:16Trey McBride goes to Eric Edholm. Nice value there.
44:19Dan Titus. Reach of the draft. Jadarian Price. Justin Boone takes Colson Loveland.
44:22Ray Garvin takes Jamison Williams. Cam Scadabo goes to Joel Smith.
44:26I want to call up the chat here. They're split on Luther Burden going to Scott Pienowski.
44:31Scott, 58% of the people say they would not take Luther Burden in the fourth round that are watching us right now.
44:37What do you say to the haters and the doubters?
44:40I've never drafted to make a chat room happy.
44:43It's just not something I'm concerned with. You tell them.
44:46You tell them, Scott. Tell them. Scott says, I don't think about you at all out there, YouTube.
44:51I'm glad you're out there. I'm glad you're engaging in this fine football program.
44:55But you have to ask yourself, who can I draft who may go two or three rounds earlier?
45:01Who's going to smash their ADP? Who's on the cover of next year's magazine?
45:05And I believe, I'm not surprised that round had three Chicago Bears in it.
45:09Again, draft great players, interesting players, fun players from fun offenses.
45:12It really isn't that complicated. So I'm happy with Burden.
45:15He's my wide receiver three. I wouldn't love it if he was my wide receiver two, but he really fits the slot of my offense well.
45:23All right. Fair enough. Well, I'm excited to see who you're running back to ends up being.
45:28Maybe you can put that slot together here. Okay.
45:31Let's get it started in the fifth round here with you, Joel Smith.
45:35What do we got? I was back and forth on this one as well.
45:39Same as that end of round three or start around three pick, but we're going to go with Bucky Irving.
45:45I like a couple different receivers there, but I'm going to go back to running back, get my third running back there,
45:51and I'll deal with some receivers and other positions later on.
45:54Damn it, Joel. Damn it, Joel. Snipe me. Sniper.
45:57I'm sorry. I love this next pick, though. The hate has gone too far, man.
46:02Bucky Irving is a good football player, and they have probably a top five offensive line, not a stat.
46:07That's a ranking. Yeah. I agree. We can throw out arbitrary rankings.
46:11Stats, no, but arbitrary rankings. All right. All right.
46:13Ray Garvin, hopefully you've recovered enough from the Bucky Irving snipe pick.
46:17Who are we going here? I feel like we're getting to that point where you got to get your guy.
46:23You got to have some conviction right here. I'm looking at the running backs.
46:27I wouldn't mind another one, but when you start off with Bijon, you've got margin for error.
46:32I feel pretty solid right there. So let's go with a guy that I believe is going to be the number one
46:39target for Liam Cohen, Trevor Lawrence, and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
46:42Give me all that P-wash. Parker Washington, come on down.
46:45I love it. Nice pick. I love Washington. I hate their first two months of schedule, man.
46:50That really makes me nervous. It's rough. It's rough.
46:52All right. Well, Ray makes a pick for Twitter.
46:55Boone, who are you taking here? The first pick where I don't totally love my options on the board.
47:01I expected I was probably going to get a running back here.
47:04And Janarian Price got sniped before me last round.
47:07Scadaboo, my guy Cam Scadaboo, couldn't even get back around to me.
47:10So you know what? I'm throwing the second running back out of the way, and I'm going to take another receiver, Christian Watson.
47:17We know the touchdown scoring, the big playability. Last year he was great.
47:21And I think that Packers offense is going to throw even more this season.
47:25All right. Makes a lot of sense here. Dan Titus, you're up.
47:29I hear DJ Moore's Josh Allen's top target. Sign me up.
47:32Thanks, guys. I'm loving my team. Keon Coleman erasure going on here?
47:36Like, what are we doing? We're talking cookies in this.
47:39I did not think he was coming up in this draft.
47:42Didn't think I would hear that name. Eric, you're up.
47:45Yeah, I've got, I can't wait to see who plays me in week 11.
47:49Had to go for the third week 11 bye guy.
47:52Quinshot Junkins needed to get the running back in there.
47:55Got to get a second guy to pair with Javante.
47:58And look, you know, given the quarterback situation, given what he did last year, I like the selection as an RB2 here.
48:04All right. Makes a lot of sense. It's going to drive here pretty quickly at the running back position, if you can't tell if it has not already.
48:13Scott, you're up. So I love Titus, who does the great playlist for our fantasy NBA coverage, going with a DJ.
48:19And then with Edholm taking a bunch of bye week 11 guys.
48:22So what? The late bye weeks are better than the early bye weeks.
48:26And your roster will be so much different when that week 11 comes.
48:30I mean, I think Edholm will probably be eliminated from contention by week 11.
48:34And it won't matter. But that's, bye weeks don't matter.
48:37And if they're late, they really don't matter. So I appreciate that Eric steered into that with his pick.
48:43Like, I picked with my hair on fire last round.
48:46We're going to take it back down a notch with a slow one, with an old one, with a boring one.
48:52David Montgomery, plenty of touches as the lead back in Houston.
48:55What does Houston do? They play defense like nobody's business, and they try to hide CJ Stroud.
49:00So that means a lot of David Montgomery. I do think Woody Marks will have a role in this offense, maybe a 30 to 35% market share.
49:08But David Montgomery as a running back too, when you steered into receivers, I feel very good about that.
49:14All right. Now, Scott, now I'm more comfortable. Now that you're taking somebody who had their best season two years ago, I
49:21feel much, much better that we're back on track here.
49:24Max, speaking of back on track, take someone at the seventh pick.
49:27Look, I really, really wanted the DJ Moore, Josh Allen stack.
49:30I'm going to be real. And I honestly saw that.
49:33I looked at 5-0-2, 5-0-3, and I was like, there's a real chance, then saw it, and I got a little upset.
49:40But we said it before, best value in whatever round this is, fifth round is whoever gets Roma Doomsday last.
49:46I think everybody is so focused on Luther Burton.
49:48Everybody is so focused on Colson Loveland. And granted, they're probably going to be very good players.
49:54I think there's going to be a very good offense.
49:56But I think losing DJ Moore opens things up a little bit more on the outside, which I think Roma Doomsday, if
50:03healthy, would feel a little bit better than a Luther Burton, who may be more comfortable between the hashes.
50:09I'll take my chance, a round or two later, and take Roma Doomsday, who could potentially be the number one pass catcher
50:15in that offense, a round or two after the other guys.
50:18You know what? Honestly, Max, thank you for saving me from myself here because I didn't really just want to be a
50:25parody of myself and end up taking Jalen Waddell and Roma Doomsday.
50:29And wow, I'm going to go a little off script here with this pick.
50:33This is somebody I've actually taken a decent bit in the fifth round.
50:37But Tyler Warren, come on down. Yeah, I'm excited about a lot of what's going on in Indianapolis.
50:42I'm excited for Tyler Warren to catch like 80 to 90 balls this year.
50:46So, Hayden, you're up. All right. Looking at the top of the queue, it's like eight straight quarterbacks and then a bunch of old wide receivers.
50:54And I know better to skip on the old wide receivers because the quarterbacks aren't coming around for a while.
51:00So, I'm going to go with Terry McLaurin and just hopefully that commander's offensive line.
51:04They can actually snap the ball. That's been a problem for Washington over the last couple days apparently.
51:09But I don't remember the offensive line being that good when Terry McLaurin was a top 15 wide receiver a couple years ago.
51:16Fair. That was the other guy I was really thinking about.
51:20Either Terry or Tyler Warren here ultimately went with the tight end.
51:23So, good pick by Hayden. Josh, I mean, are you continuing your happy dance?
51:27What's the deal here? Not really. That was kind of the last wide receiver in the big tier.
51:33That's unfortunate for me. I mean, that's really unfortunate for me.
51:36Not feeling as great about my team anymore. I don't want to take Mike Evans.
51:40Mike Evans is basically on my do not draft list right now.
51:44I'm with you, Josh. So, instead, it's between Tucker Craft and then the tight end that I went with.
51:49It's going to be a big Sam LaPorta season.
51:52Drew Petson calling plays. And I slight reach, but I'm going to go get my guy in Sam LaPorta this year and ride it out.
52:00All right. That was a pretty uncompelling sales pitch for Sam LaPorta.
52:03But it is the very strong case. That's the best offense in football.
52:07Excellent chance. The Lions out. Thank you, Scott. Scott.
52:10Scott. You're only supposed to compliment my picks. Please.
52:12Let's be serious here. Eric, you're up. Yeah, well, I took three wide receivers already since we start three.
52:18And I have one running back heading into this pick.
52:21And I would like to try to tie that up because, as we've sort of talked about, it is getting thin.
52:27So, I will take Virginia Tech Speedster, Byshall Rootin' Tootin'.
52:30That's right. I'm going to make sure I let you guys know where they went to college.
52:35Go hoopies. Let's go. My man, Titus. My man.
52:38Speaking of went to college, did Chris Rodriguez go to a college that Liam Cohen seems to care about?
52:43Is there a connection there? Okay. Just checking. Might be a connection there.
52:47Just checking college, boy. Just like you, Scott. Might be a connection there.
52:51Fight on. That's all I'm going to say. Fight on.
52:54Chris, please, please grab the reins. Take a player.
52:57I'm going to go and take Lamar Jackson here.
52:59I mean, two-round difference between him and Josh Allen.
53:02We know once healthy, the running is going to be there.
53:05The passing skill set is already there for Lamar Jackson, who should have been three-time MVP.
53:10Go ahead and give him to me here in the fifth round.
53:14See, this is why I very specifically highlighted at the top that this is not a mock draft because all the rest
53:20of you normal people out there when you draft, Lamar Jackson is not going in the fifth round.
53:26Okay? It's not going to – and there's going to be another giant gap.
53:30I'll be surprised if a quarterback is taken in the sixth round because we're all just going to play chicken now with each other.
53:37You people should never draft like this out there.
53:40But if you're just watching us draft, it's a pretty fun product here.
53:43Recapping the fifth round. Bucky Irving, Parker Washington to Ray Garvin, Christian Watson to Justin Boone, DJ Moore to Dan Titus, Quinchon Judkins to Eric Edholm.
53:51Scott Pianowski gets back on track with the boring veterans with David Montgomery.
53:55Roma Dunze to Max. I took Tyler Warren, Terry McLaurin to Hayden Winks.
53:59Josh Norris takes Sam Laporta. Eric Froton takes Basial Tootner and reminds us where he went to college.
54:04And Lamar Jackson goes to Chris Allen to end the round.
54:07Okay, I believe we have another poll from the chat here.
54:11Colin, if we want to call that one up.
54:13Was Sam Laporta a good pick in the fifth?
54:1676% of the people – Yes. They said no, Josh.
54:1976% of the people – Haters. Said no. What do you have to say to the people out there?
54:25Like I said, you did not give a very good compelling sales pitch when you made this one.
54:30So I'm going to give you another shot. Well, these picks are a package together.
54:34I will not spoil anything that's coming up here at the top of round six.
54:39But just know that a plan is in place.
54:42And 24% of you, we ride together. And we're going to look like intelligent basic football drafters by the end of the season.
54:48We're talking about colleges. Has a good tight end ever come from the University of Iowa?
54:53I'm trying to think. Just very few. Only like 17.
54:56A dozen or two. Yeah. Yeah. I always trust it when someone says, we have a plan coming together.
55:02Just trust it. We do. We do. Six rounds.
55:04Let's do it, Josh. All right. There we go.
55:07Now that would be an entertaining one. All right.
55:10Let's get started here with the sixth round. Chris Allen, you're up, buddy.
55:14I don't know if I can give a good enough case here for Tucker Craft to open up the sixth round.
55:20I know that he's talking about a potential snap, at least a limitation to start off this season.
55:25Coming off of his injury from last year. They just brought in Jonu Smith.
55:29I mean, there's plenty of other options within that offense.
55:32But at the very least, should he get back to health at some point in the earlier parts of the season?
55:38We do know how much he can contribute after the catch.
55:42And we do know that at least I'm looking at this to be a more pass-heavy offense now with their running back issues.
55:49We'll just say we'll just leave it at that.
55:51So I'm looking at Tucker Craft here to open up the sixth round.
55:55I mean, you could just say Tucker Craft is Tucker Craft.
55:58That's a pretty good reason to take him in the sixth round.
56:02Eric Froton, you are up. I was strongly considering Tucker Craft right there.
56:06My friend Chris Allen, a little disappointed with that selection.
56:09But since we brought up Iowa tight ends, I just want to remind you guys, DJ Vonname is coming next season.
56:15So you'll have another Iowa tight end to play with.
56:18Don't worry. I'm here for you college guys. That's why I'm on this.
56:22We're going to go to the University of Oklahoma.
56:24We're going to go with a guy that was taken in the fifth round back in 2021.
56:29And I projected he would be my favorite running back of the class.
56:33And he was. From Andre Stevenson. You wanted more Boston.
56:36You got more Boston, Mr. Harmon. Great. Awesome. Let's leave it at that.
56:40Josh, who do we got here? We're filling out the onesies.
56:43That's what we're doing. And I know a lot of people might just stack up Joe Burrow here with T.
56:49Higgins. I'm just going to take the guy that has, you know, more points.
56:54He's going to score this year in Drake May of the New England Patriots.
56:58I mean, talk about a guy off play action, throwing down the field.
57:02That was to scrubs like special teamer, Mac Hollins and Kayshawn Booty and all this stuff.
57:06And yeah, he just gets AJ Brown and Romeo Dobbs this year.
57:10So I'm thrilled to get Drake May in the sixth round.
57:13All right. Okay. You know, concepts of a plan coming together for Josh Norris.
57:17That's I tried to warn you. It's a plan.
57:20We'll leave it at that. Hayden, who do we got here?
57:23There's really no defending this pick, but it is Mike Evans.
57:26I've just refused to draft one of these quarterbacks.
57:29I know somebody is going to fall to me and maybe Matt one day we can talk about the history of the
57:36X wide receiver in the Shanahan tree. It might be four games, but I'll take what I can get.
57:41Well, we talked about it a lot in March.
57:44You know, that was one of those like, well, this is a fun March storyline.
57:48You know, it was great. It was great to talk about it back then.
57:53And then we got to kind of like the real moment and it didn't go quite so nice.
57:58All right. I'm up here. Fifth pick in the sixth round.
58:01You know, everybody was really excited when Parker Washington went off the board here.
58:05Last round. I'm going to take the other Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver.
58:09Brian Thomas, Jr. Travis Hunter. Bounce back season. No.
58:12Yeah. Jacobi Myers. Bounce back season here for Brian Thomas, Jr.
58:15I think we're overcorrecting a little bit too much for a guy that's super talented and going to be on the field
58:21quite a bit for a good offense. So, Max, sixth pick in the sixth round.
58:26You're up. I absolutely hate the running backs that are on the board.
58:30I knew what I signed myself up for. But I do think there's some secret value in Jalen Warren kind of taking
58:36the Kenny Gainwell role that is now in Tampa Bay.
58:39Aaron Rodgers playing quarterback. He's probably going to check the ball down.
58:43I like that a lot. I like his red zone receiving usage.
58:46Maybe Rico Datt will take some goal line work.
58:49I'm not fully convinced that he will, to be honest with you.
58:52I think this is a good value for a guy who could catch 50 plus balls in that offense.
58:58And I'll take him as my running back to Apple.
59:01All right. I mean, the check down merchant role.
59:04That's what he's stepping into there with Aaron Rodgers.
59:06It was a pretty good sales pitch there. Scott, you're up.
59:10I am up. You know, I thought Mike Evans was a great pick by Hayden, the last wide receiver in a tier.
59:16We always talk about tier drafting being important. So I was hoping Evans would get to me.
59:21Have fun with Brian Thomas. Matt, sacrificial X is your term, right?
59:25He's going to get a lot of cardio, but not that many receptions this year.
59:29Jalen Warren was going to be my guy because Aaron Rodgers doesn't want to get hit.
59:34He wants to dump off to his running backs.
59:37Warren has excellent catch rate and probably 60 catches in his back pocket, no matter what happens to Rico Dattel.
59:43I think that may have been a stat. My last pick was Montgomery.
59:46Boring. Let's go a little bit more exciting. Travion Henderson, running back on the escalator.
59:51New England will use two running backs. He has a little bit more juice than Stevenson, although he's a perfectly fine pick as well.
59:58I think the Patriots might be a better team than they were last year and still give away three or four wins
60:05because the schedule is so much harder. But any part of this offense, I feel pretty good about.
60:10So as my running back three, Henderson makes a lot of sense.
60:13All right. We have our first backup running back off the board here to stop.
60:18Nice. You know, nice. Nice. We're drafting handcuffs in the sixth round.
60:21Beautiful stuff here. Eric at home. You're up. Yeah, this is a little bit of a heartbreaking round for me.
60:27Obviously, didn't kind of break exactly the way I hope when I got excited, Matt, when you started talking about no quarterbacks
60:34going on in this round because I was determined to take one here.
60:38It's going to pair up May with Brown. That didn't work out.
60:41I was going to take Mike Evans as my third receiver.
60:45That didn't work out. Ramondre as the starter. That didn't work out.
60:48So we'll go with our fourth alternate here on the list, and that's Joe Burrow.
60:53Pretty good fourth alternate, I'd say. But I understand the value questions.
60:56I understand that taking a quarterback at this spot isn't always going to be what the depth drafters will go for.
61:02But I just got to go with firepower. You're going to throw up when we get quarterbacks nearly 90% as good like four or five, six rounds later.
61:11Yeah. I mean, I just didn't love. Boy, I don't know.
61:14I wasn't taking Marvin Harrison. Not going to have two finals in my starting lineup.
61:18Yeah, this is tough. There's no good players in the sixth round.
61:22The draft is getting gross. It's a waste. Pencil this.
61:25This is the eighth round. We just draft them in the sixth round.
61:29There's no good picture. This is pretty ugly. Has anyone felt great about their pick so far?
61:34I don't know. Probably not. All right, Dan Titus.
61:37Do you feel good about who you're taking here?
61:39I mean, I'm cool with an RB1, but I don't feel great about it.
61:43But, you know, at this stage of the game to get a running back, man, I'll take it.
61:49So, cool. I'll take it. I don't love it.
61:51That means no. Who are you picking? That means no.
61:54He doesn't have to feel good. You have to tell him when you say the name.
61:59You don't want to mention the player's name. When you don't want to mention the player's name, you're asking who you want to say.
62:06You don't want to say the name. Doesn't want to say it.
62:10Say my name. J.K. Dobbins. Say it three times in the mirror and watch what happens.
62:14What a soft sell. He would not say J.K.
62:17Dobbins. That just speaks volumes right there. Couldn't even say the man's name.
62:21Titus, we've lost you. Sorry, J.K. Give it to me, man.
62:24Stay healthy, bro. Give it to me, Rob Biss.
62:27You're up. You're up. I don't know if this was going to surprise anybody, but I'm kind of, you know, playing from behind here at running back.
62:35I'm going with Marshawn Lloyd. I expect that he is going to start for the early part of the season.
62:41I might have just snuck into a starter for the entire year here, depending what happens with Josh Jacobs.
62:47So very happy to get him in the sixth round, which I think is probably a lot earlier than people will look
62:53to see him in ADP because I had to scroll way down to get him in this draft.
62:58But there he is. It's my RB2. Yeah. I mean, we took three guys in a row here.
63:04Joe Burrow, J.K. Dobbins, Marshawn Lloyd, who are probably going to play like a combined 10 games and they'll probably still give
63:10me more usable weeks than Scott's pick in the sixth round top scene here.
63:14We're not doing that. Make sure you back him up with Caleb Johnson to get the entire Green Bay backfield.
63:20Oh, yeah, baby. Now we're talking. All right. Ray Garvin, you're up.
63:24Yeah, I need to make the pick. Let me make the pick right now.
63:28Good idea. Yeah, let me make the pick. Pick is made.
63:31Pick is made. Pick is in. We take a running back who his career high touches dating back to high school is like 115.
63:38And then J.K. Dobbins, we don't even say his name.
63:41Yet you've got a running back who's gone four straight years over a thousand yards and the quarterback is dreadful.
63:47Give me Tony Pollard right here at the back of the round.
63:51TP for another thousand yards. It's boring. It ain't sexy, but he's going to score.
63:55Sign me up. Is he going to score? Are the Titans going to score?
63:59How many touchdowns are the Titans going to score?
64:02Wait a minute. He's going to score a hell of a lot more than J.K.
64:07Dobbins will this year. He will. All right. If you say so.
64:10Okay. We'll see. Joel Smith. Finish us up. Sixth round.
64:13This is an ugly round. So I'm going to go with the position that is a little lower than the rest at tight end and take Harold Fannin.
64:21I think it's the end of a tier right here for me.
64:25I mean, it's the end of the round. All right.
64:28When we're like, let's get some Titans and Browns here at the end of the sixth round.
64:33That is for sure. Okay. Let's call up the board here.
64:36The sixth round recap. We got Tucker Craft off the board to Chris Allen.
64:40We had a reminder. Andrea Stevenson to Eric Froton.
64:43Josh Norris takes Drake May. Hayden Winks takes Mike Evans.
64:46Brian Thomas Jr. To me. Jalen Warren to Max.
64:49Travian Henderson to Scott. Joe Burrow to Eric Edholm.
64:51Dan Titus takes J.K. Dobbins. Justin Boone takes Marshawn Lloyd.
64:54Tony Pollard to Ray Garvin. Harold Fannin Jr. To Joel Smith.
64:58The chat agreed with Boone on the Marshawn Lloyd pick.
65:0159% approval rating on the Marshawn Lloyd pick by Justin Boone.
65:04The chat is feeling the Marshawn Lloyd love. Boone, would you like to say that the chat is smart?
65:09Everyone else has been talking down the people. No, I appreciate the love out there.
65:14So, yeah, everybody's clearly been following my rankings and they know what's up.
65:18And Marshawn Lloyd is a great pick as your RB2 or your flex play this year.
65:23Following Boone's rankings. Has anybody ever gotten anywhere by following Justin Boone's rankings?
65:26Damn. That's a good point. Matt, you brought up the 59% popular vote.
65:30What is the Electoral College in favor of? I believe they're definitely not in favor of Marshawn Lloyd.
65:36I think the – I'm going to go ahead and say the Electoral College is not in favor of the Marshawn Lloyd.
65:42Anything for the college references. Even the Electoral College shows up.
65:45Yeah, the Electoral College is really loving Caleb Johnson as a last-round sleeper, which I'll leave my statement at that.
65:51Okay, boys, I got to say, sixth round, that was rough.
65:55That was not great. Not a lot of joy in these picks.
65:58Some crusty ones. Let's pick it up here in the seventh round.
66:02Joel Smith, you get us started. I have not drafted this player a single time this year.
66:07I don't even know in mock drafts, but I do love him.
66:10It is a hearts pick, not a head pick.
66:13I'm going to go Marvin Harrison Jr. And hope that he can finally put it all together this year.
66:19I love him as a person. Maybe not as much as a player, but it's an ugly round.
66:24Give him to me. Half PPR makes it a little bit better.
66:27Do you know this guy? What's going on here?
66:30I love him as a person, he says. I think that's the first time.
66:34Are y'all breaking up or something? I love him as a person, you know, just as a fantasy pick.
66:40That's a whole other thing. No, I actually think that I like the Mark pick.
66:44Thank you. Thank you. I am Cardinals curious. Okay.
66:47Ray Garvin, you're up. Yeah, I'm going to go with probably one of the last running backs that I'll take for quite some time.
66:54I will go with Jonathan Brooks from Carolina. All right.
66:57We've got the Panthers Titans running back, back to back here for Ray Garvin.
67:01All right, Boone, you're up. Harmon. What have I been saying all summer long?
67:05Draft every member of your starting lineup and then take your quarterback.
67:09I wanted to wait at quarterback. I know there's going to be good quarterbacks in a couple rounds still, but this is a four point passing touchdown league.
67:17That is not a stat. That is just a fact.
67:20And that's why I'm going with Jalen Hurts here because Jalen Hurts is going to put up touchdowns.
67:26There'll be some through the air. There will also be a bunch on the ground.
67:30And when it's four point passing touchdowns, he gets a little bit of a boost.
67:35All right. I mean, I guess that's fine. I know what you've been saying all summer.
67:39I've definitely been listening on the shows. It's been great.
67:42Dan Titus, you're up here. Man, I have no idea what I want to do right now.
67:47You're going to time out. I want to time you out.
67:51You never have been spoken. Part of me wanted to get a quarterback there.
67:55There's one running back running quarterback left, but I went with Blake Corum, the backup for the Los Angeles Rams.
68:01Everyone's been hyping them up. Probably the next fantasy Twitter pick next to Parker Washington.
68:05But you guys talk about the workload that he saw as the season progressed and how Kyron's efficiency fell off.
68:11So yeah, I'll take that as some of an insurance policy.
68:14I mean, that was almost as depressing of a sell as Joel's.
68:18I like Marvin Harrison as a person. The tone of his voice.
68:21You didn't have to hear anything else. Just the tone of his voice.
68:25Was that a funeral? I mean, my God. Yeah, I'll take him.
68:29Dan, we still have eight rounds to go after this, my man.
68:32Oh, yeah. All right. Well, Dan recovers from that.
68:35Eric, you're up. Yeah, I was kind of picking between.
68:38You know, I had sort of Corum queued up as a possibility.
68:42Thought about Cortland Sutton, but I'm ultimately going to go with Carnell Tate.
68:45And the, you know, as kind of ambivalent as I am about Cam Ward and the Titans offense right now, you know,
68:52I think Tate has a chance to be good, maybe in the second half of the season a little bit.
68:58But, you know, right now he's my third receiver.
69:01So, you know, he's going to have to be good at some point.
69:04But it's drying up. So that was the best I could do.
69:08That was the best I could do. How many catches did Carnell Tate have in the preseason?
69:13Not a stat. I'm just asking for no reason.
69:16What happens in energy football that... Zero is a concept, okay.
69:19Yes. The same amount of you as you, Chris.
69:22That's how many. All right. Well, this has been two really depressing picks back-to-back from a salesman perspective.
69:27This is just a tough two rounds. Scott. But I mentioned I've gotten Titans, Browns, and Cardinals in three of my last four picks.
69:34I just want to throw that out there. Yep.
69:37All right. Well, that's... Something to aspire to. That's one way to approach it.
69:41Scott, what do we got? Maybe Chris didn't have any preseason catches, but he did chart well and was running good routes downfield.
69:48He just wasn't getting the throws when the coverage dictated it.
69:51I'm really confident Wondell Robinson will lead the Titans in catches.
69:54Ed Holm even shrugging and saying, this is the second half of the season pick with Carnell Tate.
70:00I think he got that one wrong. I know nobody likes Cortland Sutton anymore because Waddle's there and they have young receivers.
70:06Including Sean Payton. I do Scott. I do Scott.
70:09This is how we regress and win. We regress and win.
70:12He goes down to seven or eight touchdowns, whatever, 950 yards, and he's my wide receiver for seventh round.
70:18Boring value. Jalen Hurts was a mistake because we're all going to get quarterbacks.
70:22They're 90% as good as him. Take Cortland Sutton.
70:24He's going to be a bench player for me on opening day, but I'll have the best wide receiver depth in the league.
70:31This is leaning into the bit, Matt. I mean, incredibly hard.
70:35Scott. I would have probably bet, and I don't have a million dollars, but I definitely would have bet a million dollars
70:41that Scott was taking Cortland Sutton at some point in this draft.
70:45So there we go. Okay. Max, you're up. This is tough.
70:48Again, I'm not fighting uphill battle at receiver, but definitely fighting uphill battle at receiver.
70:52Worth it, in my opinion, but I'm going to keep fighting it.
70:56Look, if I say like before a number, because I don't know the exact number, does it count as a stat?
71:02Well, if you don't know the stat, just don't say it.
71:05Well, you got last year, Michael Pittman Jr. had like 75, 80 catches in the Colts offense and he's gone.
71:11Like somebody's going to have to make that up.
71:14That's why Tyler Warren came off a little earlier.
71:17I don't think the Colts would have paid Alec Pierce if they didn't feel comfortable about his usage and his health.
71:23So I'll take my chance on Alec Pierce. Was he hurt all summer?
71:27He was healthy before he signed that contract. And then he got hurt.
71:31He drove through every red light to sign that contract.
71:34Your faith in Chris Ballard doing a logical thing is admirable, Max, but I'm not sure it is based in reality.
71:40Speaking of not based in reality, I don't know if this is a good pick, but I'm going to go ahead and make it anyways.
71:47I'm going to take the Arizona Cardinals real wide receiver one.
71:51Yes. I'm taking Michael Wilson off the board here.
71:53Yeah. Joel doesn't know this. He likes Michael Wilson as a person.
71:57I love Michael Wilson as a person. I like him even better as a football player.
72:01He's going to score a lot of points in this offense, which is not going to be one of the worst units in the NFL.
72:09We are Cardinals curious. We are taking Michael Wilson here in the seventh round.
72:13And I'm saying it with excitement after some of these graveyard picks you guys have made here.
72:18Hayden Winks, you are up. All right. I'm going to take the Panthers RB one in Chuba Hubbard.
72:23Everyone views him as a pushover. I view him as somebody that was a top 15 running back just two years ago.
72:30And whenever he's healthy, he's somebody that the team absolutely loves.
72:33I remember watching the Panthers game last year and he touched the ball 17 times, scored two touchdowns.
72:39I'm going to guess that that guy is going to be the starter week one.
72:432000 yard rusher at Oklahoma State. How do you not end up my team?
72:47There's the ultimate boring value. Nobody wants. That's a great deal in round seven.
72:51Hubbard is a steal in round seven. Scott, I love you, man.
72:55All right, Josh, you're up. Yeah, I haven't drafted DK Metcalf one time this summer, but oftentimes I do not see DK
73:01Metcalf, you know, still on the board here this late into round seven.
73:05And I'm excited to add him and say that I might be wrong occasionally.
73:09This is the one time in this draft I might be wrong by not selecting DK Metcalf enough this year.
73:15And so I'm making it right here, Matt Harmon as my wide receiver too.
73:19I'm excited. Do you like him as a person?
73:22Yeah. Do you like him as a person though?
73:25That's a good question. That's really all that matters.
73:28I mean, we go to the gym together if you can't tell.
73:31So me and DK are lifting cows. Josh, the people were talking about your calves after you were, you know, on the first shoot.
73:38Norris didn't blow off the combine. You got like...
73:41Yeah, people were talking about your calves after the shoot in Buffalo.
73:44So any comment on the routine here? All natural.
73:47That's it. All natural. Good. You passed the Yahoo PED test.
73:50That's good to know. Okay, Eric Froton, you're up.
73:53Yep. Both myself and Josh never skip leg day.
73:56So don't worry about my calves. I guarantee you they look great.
73:59That being said, death, taxes, and DeAndre Swift injuries.
74:02Give me University of Rutgers' own? We're going to New Jersey, are we?
74:06Kyle Monongai. Fading, Mr. Swift. You know Kyle Monongai is injured right now, right?
74:10I don't care. I'm going to say it. It doesn't matter.
74:13I'm coming. He's coming. I mean, if you just type into the old Google machine right now, it bears cast doubt on Kyle Monongai's week one status.
74:21So I'm going to give that one a one out of ten in terms of the sales pitch.
74:27RB4. He'll have a big week nine, which will improve Eric's record to three and six.
74:31All right. Jesus. God. Spicy. That was spicy. Okay.
74:34All right, Chris, you're up. All right. Well, if there is any concern about what's going to happen with Ibuka during the
74:40season, I do know at least one wide receiver that's healthy for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
74:45And that is Chris Godwin. Still gets his old reliable slot role.
74:49Baker may feel healthy. Offensive line mostly healthy. So give me the slot guy for the Buccaneers.
74:54Chris Godwin. All right. There we go. That is the seventh round here.
74:58Recapping it. Marvin Harrison, Jr., who Joel Smith likes as a person.
75:01Jonathan Brooks to Ray Garvin. Jalen Hurts to Justin Boone.
75:04Blake Corum to Dan Titus. Carnell Tate to Eric Edholm.
75:07Cortland Sutton, the chalkiest pick of the entire draft.
75:10To Scott Pianowski. Alec Pierce to Max. Michael Wilson to me.
75:13Chuba Hubbard. DK Metcalf to Josh Norris. Kyle Monongai.
75:16Currently injured to Eric Froton, who thinks the starter is going to get injured.
75:20Chris Godwin to Chris Allen. We have to address the chat.
75:23The poll on the Blake Corum pick. Dan Titus, 64% disapproval rating.
75:27Yeah. The Blake Corum pick. This one is not getting off the house floor here.
75:31What do you say? Have you comported yourself enough to actually make a defense of your Blake Corum selection?
75:37Nope. Clearly, I was a little early there. We're going to calibrate the room.
75:41I mean, these people would download pizza and ice cream.
75:44I got nothing to come on. All right. Well, there we go.
75:48His response is nope. He has no defense of that particular selection.
75:51All right. Let's get it started here. Chris Allen in the eighth round.
75:55So I'm going to go back to the Packers offense.
75:58I'm going to go with Jaden Reed here. We talked earlier about how this is going to be a solid passing attack.
76:04And even if like Jaden Reed, while this whole like he's not on the field for three wide receiver sets thing, I've
76:11also used him out of the backfield. So if they are going to have to switch things up with Josh Jacobs being
76:17out, Reed could benefit from that as well. So I'll take Jaden Reed here.
76:22Well, you're never going to hear me say a bad word about Jaden Reed.
76:26All right, Eric, you're up. Yeah. Unfortunately, Drake London isn't hurt because that's when Kyle Pitts went buck wild last year.
76:32In fact, he was one many of our semifinals matchups.
76:35I believe if you had Kyle Pitts, I think with like 50 plus points that time.
76:40So he's my favorite tight end of this end of the tier.
76:43And I'm going to go with the University of Florida tight end, Kyle Pitts.
76:47All right. Yep. He was good in college. I believe that's why he got drafted so high.
76:52There we go. Josh Norris, you're up. You know what time it is.
76:56I'm about to take myself and 11 of my buddies to the frickin strip club.
77:01Yes, it's Deshaun dribbling time. I mean, Matt, any other time that the 33rd overall pick only has to compete with an
77:07injured Mike Evans and Debo Samuel on a retirement tour to get receptions and targets, people be freaking out.
77:13Plus, it's a top 10 offense year after year.
77:16Stribbling is my what? 76th overall player. I want to take him in the last round.
77:20I knew he would still be here still in the eighth round.
77:24I am elated to have Deshaun stribbling on my roster.
77:27I want to see what the chat says about this pick.
77:30I would love to see Josh take his buddies to the strip club.
77:34I would just love to see what that environment would be like.
77:38I would love to see that. They're all loving the chat.
77:41I would love to see that. I would love to see that.
77:44If you've ignored the entire summer, Marshawn Lloyd and Stribbling have been the two players who have risen the most in value, and I'm behind the stribbling pick.
77:53I love it. I was in a draft. A few of us were in a draft yesterday, and I took Stribbling ahead of Josh.
78:00And almost immediately after the draft ended, I had a trade offer in my inbox, and I knew he would drop right
78:06away, and I declined that trade immediately. I'm hanging on to him in that one.
78:11He is a hipster pick. If you want to win the favor of the people in your room, Stribbling is a guy to target.
78:18But I think it's a good pick, too. Well, we'll address whether the people agree with that pick here.
78:24But no, listen. Who doesn't love a good Deshaun stribbling here pick at this stage of the game?
78:29Hayden, you're up. Yeah, I was watching CNN. This guy in a turtleneck was touting Stribbling, and I knew that he was
78:35going to go way, way earlier than I was expecting.
78:38Don't get me started. With the herringbone suit? It was actually solid.
78:42That's right. That's right. Look, when Deshaun's stribbling is going, that's when I draw the line on I can draft an elite quarterback.
78:49I'm going to pair it up. Jaden Daniels with my Terry McLaurin pick from the round earlier.
78:54Looking at the board, you guys to my left and up above me, you guys don't have any quarterbacks, so let's start a run here.
79:01Are you playing left tackle, Hayden, this year for the commanders?
79:04We don't worry about that. Don't worry about my O-line.
79:07All right. Well, it's tough. Hayden, I know you got the gym set up in the garage.
79:12We've all seen it. You've made sure to take a few selfie videos from the garage gym.
79:18Have you bulked up enough to be the left tackle for the Washington Commanders?
79:22No, I've not, but I keep throwing extra plates on them.
79:25So you guys think I can bench like 315 or something like that?
79:29It's fake news. Well, you know, it's good enough.
79:31Hayden is our version of Anatoly the cleaner. If you've seen those videos from the gyms.
79:36No one has. Literally no one has in this room.
79:39No idea what you're talking about. Okay. I'm going to stick to the bit here.
79:44I'm going to take Josh Downs in the eighth round.
79:47Great player. I'm stacking up both the Colts reception leaders here.
79:50Why not? All right, Max, you're up. I am going to take what I think would seem like a starting running back
79:56in an offense that was top five when their quarterback was healthy two seasons ago.
80:01I think the offense might be better. I think they might put up more points than they did in 2024.
80:07As crazy as that sounds, the guy rocks. He's awesome.
80:10He's a great football player. He's fun to watch.
80:12I'm taking Bill Krosky-Meritt in the eighth round. I'm doing it.
80:16See, that's a way to say it right there.
80:18The guy rocks. All right. That's how you believe in your pick here.
80:22Scott Pianowski, you're up. My pick's going to rock too.
80:25Wayne Gretzky taught us, or Michael Scott taught us, you don't skate to where the puck is.
80:30You skate to where the puck is headed. You also missed 99% of the shots you don't take.
80:36I'm going to take a shot on Jordan Mason, five years younger than Aaron Jones.
80:40I blame everything that went wrong last year in Minnesota on J.J.
80:44McCarthy. I believe in their coach. I believe in their infrastructure.
80:47I also believe in their defense positive game scripts.
80:49On the way, you're going to wish you took Jordan Mason in 2026.
80:53I like that pick, Scott. I wrote him up as a sleeper running back today.
80:58So you know what? I must've read the piece.
81:00Appreciate the read there. Appreciate the click. Eric at home.
81:03You are up. In dire need of a running back.
81:06No time to dawdle around. Rico. Doudle is the pick.
81:09You see what I did there? A little switch.
81:12Yeah. Very clever. We only had about four minutes to come up with that one.
81:16Love it. Yeah. No, I just feel like that backfield right now is basically two guys.
81:21So, you know, he's going to get his touches.
81:24He's been pretty reliable last two years. So I know he's been cast off by his former two teams, but that's irrelevant to me.
81:31I'm going to take my third running back and pray he does something.
81:35All right. We're invoking prayer here in the eighth round.
81:38That is. That's where we're at. Okay. I was really kind of hoping I was going to have a decent running back to take in the next round.
81:46And after that, I don't think there's going to be one.
81:49Dan Titus, you took a running back in the last round and you didn't seem to like it.
81:55The chat seemed to hate it. Who are we taking this round?
81:58Going to wide receiver. Going with Quentin Johnson. At this point, you know, new offensive corner of Mike McDaniel.
82:04122 targets vacated with Keaton Allen gone. He can't do much worse than he's already been.
82:09So, yeah, sign me up. I'll get a wide receiver for it.
82:12It can't be much worse. He can't do much worse than he's already been.
82:16All right. Another excellent sale job there from our guy, Dan Titus.
82:20Maybe you should start taking basketball players, pal. I don't know.
82:23I mean, my squad's pretty tough, though, Matt. Don't sleep here.
82:26No, it's fine. It's one of the teams in the draft.
82:30It's fine. It's one of the teams. All right.
82:32All right. Let me know. Dan's waiting for the basketball league for us all to join.
82:37Just like I'm waiting for you guys to join the college one, I think.
82:41All right, Boone, you're up. All right. I don't really like any of my options here.
82:46I thought one of these running backs and JCM or Dowdle or Jordan Mason or someone was going to make it to me.
82:53I knew Dezond Shribbling was not going to get back there.
82:56I'm going to take a guy that I just think is a value right now.
83:01I don't need him. My starting lineup set. I'm going to take George Kittle and it's my second tight end.
83:07I will be available for a tight end trade whenever anyone's ready to get a potentially elite tight end once he's healthy.
83:13Just taking him and throwing him on the bench and seeing what happens as a trade piece.
83:18This league allows tight end to be one of your flex positions.
83:22So it's possible Boone may be running the two tight end lineup at some point.
83:26I don't know why you did that, Boone. Like, damn it, man.
83:30You sniped me. You have love. Why? Why? I feel like you're doing that on purpose, man.
83:35That's exactly why. Why? This reaction made it totally worth it, Ray.
83:38I love it. Ah, Lee. I mean, that's where I was going.
83:42Harmon. I was going with Kittle. Boone took him.
83:44Even though he has Colston Loveland, drafted him early.
83:47So I'll take Dalton Kincaid right here. I'm going Dalton Kincaid here at the 11th spot.
83:52And what round are we in? 9? 10? 8?
83:55Sorry. No, it's 8. You're good. I'll take Kincaid.
83:57You didn't take Kincaid in the 9th round. You took him in the 8th round.
84:02You made the panic pick after getting it. 39% snaps last year.
84:05It's got to go up. But man, I guess that's a stat.
84:09You had Dalton first aid. Hat tip to Pat Thorman for that one.
84:13Oh, it's so good. Thorman's awesome. Oh, brutal. All right.
84:16Joel Smith, you're up. Ruben Kincaid. I will start maybe quarterback run here coming up with a few teams that haven't taken one yet.
84:23But I'm going to go Caleb Williams. Bears offense.
84:25Everyone's talking about how amazing it's going to be.
84:28Lots of those receivers and tight ends going earlier in this draft.
84:32I'll take the quarterback and be very happy with it.
84:35All right. I like it. That is the 8th round here.
84:38It begins with Jaden Reed to Chris Allen. Eric Froton takes Kyle Pitts Sr.
84:42That makes it seem like he's a real man.
84:45Kyle Pitts Sr. Dazon Stribbling goes to Josh Norris.
84:47Hayden Winks takes Jaden Daniels. I took Josh Downs.
84:50Parody of myself at this point. Ja'Koi Kroski Merritt goes to Max.
84:54Jordan Mason to Scott Pianowski. Eric Edholm takes Rico Dowdle.
84:57Quentin Johnson takes Dan Titus. Justin Boone takes George Kittle.
85:00Two tight ends. One team. Dalton Kincaid to Ray Garvin.
85:02Caleb Williams to Joel Smith. All right. Josh, I want to let you know that.
85:07Oh, I know. The Stribbling Pick, 90% approval rating.
85:10The Dazon Stribbling Pick, 90%. Hipster. A man of the people.
85:13You got to love to see that, Josh. You love it.
85:16Yeah. Throw your ones in the air. I mean, this is.
85:19We've come a long way since April because it was 90% disapproval rating.
85:23You're damn right, Ray. On the 27th of April.
85:26You're right. Throw your ones in the air. Make it rain, baby.
85:29What routes against third-shrangers can do for you. You know?
85:32Yeah. Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch, they were your meat shields for the Stribbling Pick, and you ultimately get to have all the glory here, 90% approval rating.
85:41Who's going to be right? The Consensus Board or the Yahoo Fantasy YouTube chat members?
85:45Or Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch. I know who I'm standing with.
85:49The Yahoo Fantasy YouTube chat members. That is for sure.
85:52All right. Let's get started here. The ninth round.
85:54Joel Smith, you're up. Yeah. On a recent show, Josh Norris actually convinced me to move a guy down my rankings a little bit.
86:02That was Harold Fannin. And his reason was because my next pick, Casey Concepcion, could get a lot of those easy targets.
86:08So I'm going to take the first round rookie pick, not round nine, the process pick.
86:13I'm going to take another Browns player with Concepcion right here.
86:16With that quarterback room, there are no easy targets.
86:19No, Joel. Don't let him talk to you like that.
86:22Casey Concepcion's a baller. Great pick here in the ninth round.
86:25All right. Ray Garvin, you're up. Yeah. I'm going to roll with Matthew Golden right here at the top of the ninth round.
86:32Looking at Green Bay. You're going to have to throw the ball.
86:35He needs to step up. Right. He has not arrived yet.
86:39I'm not going to say he's a smash type receiver this year, but the opportunity should be available in an offense that's going to need him.
86:46Matthew Golden is my fourth wide receiver. I feel good about that.
86:50That's a Texas boy right there for you. Is it Texas?
86:53Hayden is regretting his Jane Daniels selection right now.
86:56I saw him get a little queasy in his chair after saying Matthew Golden off the board.
87:01I know that's Hayden's boy too, man. I know, Hayden.
87:04I know. I know, man. I got four receivers.
87:06I'm chilling. I was just going to say to Matt, what if we just flipped the entire sixth round with the ninth round and just started drafting?
87:14This round is just going to outscore the sixth, seventh, and eighth round the way it started.
87:20100%. You're probably the first person who ever thought of the idea of flipping the numbers six and nine.
87:25So congratulations. Well done. Scott. Scott. Man. Did I say that?
87:28God, I love it. Let's keep that one going here.
87:31All right. Let's go. Boom. Eagles in the air.
87:34Step in. If Marshawn Lloyd gets hurt, I'm grabbing Kenny Gainwell and he's that kind of guy.
87:39He could be a decent little flex play. And if we see Bucky Irvin get hurt again, we saw last year that Gainwell has top 20 upside.
87:47Your boomer fantasy analyst's favorite pick here. Kenny Gainwell goes off the board in the ninth round.
87:52Dan Titus, you got to make a pick here and you have to like the player.
87:57All right. So, so let's hear it. Yeah, I got sniped by Boone.
88:01I really want to gain well there. So going quarterback, going with.
88:04Dak Prescott. Feel good about it. That offense is elite.
88:07And yeah, man, I'm cool with my lineup here.
88:10Good pick. The answer to which cowboy do you want is yes.
88:14You want them all. Eric Edholm, who do you want here at this selection?
88:18Well, here in Pernowski, take a blowtorch to my picks and just about everybody else's too.
88:22I figured I would take a page out of his book, follow up the riskier receiver pick with a little bit of a higher floor receiver.
88:30Jordan Addison is my guy. I got to kind of buttress what I have at wide out right now.
88:36I don't love the third and fourth options, but one of them on a given week, I think will give me an option.
88:43So that's what I'm going on. I hope Scott doesn't hate it.
88:46That's the first time anyone's ever said Jordan Addison, you know, the safe.
88:50I think that's the first time anyone has said that.
88:53That's why I said a little bit of a little safe.
88:56All right, there we go. Scott, you're up. Yeah, I believe Jordan Addison was a bullet to cop winner in college.
89:02Love those bullet to cop winners. Matt, if you had me picking Cortland Sutton, you probably had me picking this next guy.
89:09Boring as vanilla ice cream. But Wandale Robinson, Brian Dable loves him some Wandale Robinson.
89:13The PPR scam actually got downfield last year, and he's going to be better than Carnell Tate.
89:18The idea that they go two or three rounds apart doesn't make sense.
89:22I want you to steal Wandale Robinson like I just did.
89:26Yep, Scott, that was pretty. That was on brand.
89:28That was on brand for sure. What is the collective age on the Scott Pianowski team?
89:33The hype train is not on the Scott Pianowski train other than the Luther Burden pick.
89:38There we go. Yeah, you know what? You did need to take Luther Burden to kind of stand out from the snooze factor.
89:45Sutton, David Montgomery, Wandale Robinson. So I think you're putting together a pretty nice team, Scott.
89:49I think you're putting together a pretty nice team.
89:52Max, you're up. Yeah, I am going to take Scott.
89:55You mentioned bullet in the cough award. I'll take the bullet in the cough award winner from last year.
90:01I mean, I get AJ Brown left. Everybody loves Devante Smith.
90:04Obviously, he more realistically physically fills that role. But you take the guy with the 20th overall pick at a position you
90:10desperately need to improve after losing an all-pro guy like AJ Brown.
90:14I think Mikhail Lemon could step in and lead the team in receiving, and I'm getting him in the end of the ninth round.
90:21I'll take my chance. Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Ray, you got a thought?
90:25Lead the team in receiving what year? In 2026?
90:28Yes, absolutely. This year? Interesting. I guarantee you that's not the last lemon we'll see in round nine.
90:33I can see in two years. What liners. This man is on it today.
90:37I love Scott. I just want to say that.
90:40Scott is the MVP of this show. Always got one in the chamber.
90:44My God. Let's go. I've always got one in the chamber.
90:47Oh, my gosh. In other words, mute my mic for about four rounds.
90:51I got it. He's working here. Scott came locked and loaded today, boy.
90:55Got someone in the chat here. Eli. Bunch of numbers.
90:58Letters. I don't know. Says Scott's team is as spicy as oatmeal.
91:01Scott, how spicy do you take your oatmeal in the morning?
91:04I like my oatmeal lumpy. I'm just going to stick with that.
91:08Wonderful. Okay. On that note. RIP Humpty Hump. Yeah.
91:11As you say, that's a full Humpty. Yeah. Digital Underground.
91:14Right there. That's right. Yeah. I threw my hamstring out doing the Humpty.
91:17Is this another old movie reference? Are we back on that?
91:21You must know the Humpty. You don't know the Humpty Hump.
91:24Dial offline. Digital Underground. Yeah. You never been to Burger King?
91:27Shock G. Anyways. All right. All right. All right.
91:30All right. In the ninth round, I'm going to take a quarterback.
91:33I'm going to take Justin Herbert. Mike McDaniel cooking up the offense.
91:37You'll love to see it. Hayden Winks. I'm worried Hayden Winks might have to start at left guard for this team since
91:44they don't know who's going to start at left guard.
91:46At least it will be a shorter commute than starting for the commander's offensive line.
91:51But while you're thinking about that, what do we got here in the ninth round, Hayden?
91:56I'm taking Josh Jacobs over to Josh Norris. Love it.
91:59Okay, Josh, you're up. That's enough said. Yeah. When in doubt, draft both Pittsburgh Steelers wide receivers.
92:04Like, look, Aaron Rodgers basically turned DK Metcalf into Michael Pittman Jr.
92:07last year. Uh, and so if that doesn't work out for me, I at least have Michael Pittman Jr.
92:13here. So maybe these two guys can turn into one wide receiver.
92:16That's in my starting lineup this year. We're going to recreate him in the aggregate.
92:21Exactly. Let us know how that works out. The bankroll at receiver.
92:24You're picking the Aaron Rodgers led Pittsburgh Steelers. It became reception perception.
92:28Defend that. He's just falling away too much. Scott, you got to do some things when you know what?
92:34I don't disagree with you. I just think if you have Metcalf, you can't take Pittman.
92:38That's just the way I'm wired. Maybe I'm wrong on that.
92:42All right, Eric, you're up. Well, I was hoping to get Pittman.
92:45I hope he, you know, Josh would have let him slip, but that was ultimately not going to happen.
92:51Just like my Anatoly reference, even though the chat loved it.
92:54So take that Josh for burying me. Uh, give me Romeo dubs, please.
92:58Since I am a Boston boy, say something, say something now about Boston Pinovsky.
93:02It's got a very safe helmet. I'll say that.
93:05Okay. University of Nevada zone. Go get him. You filled the Romeo void.
93:09Chris, you're up. Finish it. Finish his round here.
93:11Uh, give me RJ Harvey. I don't know how long JK Dobbin's knees are going to hold up or the rest of his lower body.
93:19So I'll take the guy at least catching passes in a good offense.
93:23RJ Harvey for sure. That's about as excited as Sean Payton is to play RJ Harvey this year as well.
93:29All right. The ninth round goes Casey Concepcion to Joel Matthew Golden to Ray Garvin.
93:33Justin Boone takes Kenny Gainwell. Dak Prescott to Dan Titus, Jordan Addison to Eric at home.
93:38Wanda Robinson to Scott Pinovsky, Makai Lemon to Max, Justin Herbert to me.
93:42Hayden takes Josh Jacobs, Michael Pittman to Josh Norris, Romeo Dobbs, Derek Froton, RJ Harvey to Chris Allen.
93:47Uh, we have got a split decision here on the Matthew Golden verdict.
93:51Is Matthew Golden a steal in the ninth round?
93:53Ray Garvin, 50% of people said yes. 50% of people say no.
93:57So there you go. All right. All right. We got a, we got a runoff.
94:01Yeah. Enthusiastic response there from you. Okay. That's about how I feel about when I watch Matthew Golden on film.
94:07Okay. Let's get it started with the 10th round.
94:10Chris Allen, you are up. All right. So I'm going with Chris Rodriguez here.
94:14We talked earlier about the Liam Cohen connection and I'm not sure looking at his contract that this is a guy that's
94:21just going to sit on the bench. Most of the time.
94:24I think he's got direct competition with Mr. Tootin that was drafted much earlier.
94:28Also has the skillset. They can get a lot of those money touches.
94:32So Chris Rodriguez, Jacksonville Jaguars, good offense. I'll take it.
94:35All right. I respect the logic on that one.
94:38Uh, Mr. College himself. Who do we got here?
94:40We're going to the university of Washington, a player that I got to see three times in college, on the field, in person.
94:47And I'm telling you right now, beware JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey owners.
94:51Jonah Coleman is coming for their jobs. Love it.
94:54Love it. I'm guaranteeing that he's the center of balance five, eight, you know, he's above the two, 10 mark.
95:00Um, just the way that he's able to move in tight quarters.
95:03I think Jonah Coleman's the guy and he's going to eventually, as the season goes on, end up taking that job.
95:09Yeah. Arizona before Washington though, Eric, don't forget that pack 12 before Washington.
95:13You know, he followed Jed fish from Arizona to Washington.
95:16He's a Jed fish guy. So I'm with you.
95:19I'm with you. And you know, I respect you.
95:22Good move. Good move. Good move. Jonah Coleman came on the Yahoo fantasy forecast.
95:26So obviously that means he's going to be a superstar in the NFL.
95:30Speaking of superstars, Josh, you're up. You know, I was between two names, but I realized I couldn't, you know, take the coke head to the strip club.
95:38So instead, never do that. Never do that. So instead of going with the best time to have, you know, the mild mannered, very on time.
95:46Stefan digs here instead. I think he's gone to both.
95:49To be honest. That video from the Vikings locker room of who you didn't want your sister to date.
95:54All time. Chris, I was just going to say, the only thing that's going to nuke Hayden and Josh from, from mama
96:01Daniels has to just keep Stefan, just keep him away from mama Daniels.
96:05Keep digs away from mama Daniels and y'all will be all right.
96:08Yeah. I think it's usually it's mama Daniels. She tends to go towards the players from, from what I've, what I've been reading.
96:15Is this a family draft? It's hard to say.
96:18Hayden, you're up. All right. I do not have a tight end and I'm just trying to avoid a Justin Boone trade offer here.
96:25So I want Isaiah likely here. Do not even try to send me a trade offer.
96:29For Justin love that making a pixel. You don't get a trade offer after the draft.
96:34Good, good, good one to see there. I am shocked.
96:37Honestly, that this player just made it past the Josh and Hayden combination here.
96:41I'm taking Mike Washington jr. Off the hype bunny.
96:44I get it. But listen, I just got myself a week.
96:47One starting running back. Ashen. Gentry. We'll see. Okay.
96:50We'll see. All right. Yeah. Max, you're back up here.
96:53Yeah. I've been waiting for the position to run on quarterbacks and haven't seen it.
96:57Much like the kid will pick. I'm going to take a guy who I think has some crazy upside.
97:03Anybody needs a quarterback come first couple weeks of season.
97:06You can come see me. Trevor Lawrence. I'll take it every time.
97:10That is never worked, by the way, Max. Yeah.
97:12There are going to be zero quarterback trades here.
97:15This league will not be trading a quarterback unless one of our quarterbacks goes missing.
97:19That will be my prediction on that one. But I do love Trevor Lawrence.
97:23You know, one of the tables I would, one of the guys I would jump through the table for per the Buffalo show.
97:30So there you go. We've got that at least.
97:33Some might say, Josh, how dare you? All right, Scott, you're up.
97:37So there's a very well-known sports writer. I'm not going to say his name, but he's one of the first all-time sports
97:43bloggers in one year and his fantasy football team in a salary cap slash auction draft.
97:48He selected four quarterbacks in a single quarterback league saying somebody will have to come to me in trade.
97:53I heard of this. It's ended up cutting these guys because nobody ever comes to you and trade into one quarterback league.
98:00So that idea has never worked out. Congratulations, by the way.
98:03Mike Washington was picked before Titus could back up the gente pick.
98:07I just wanted to see that happen. Happy to see it go to fruition.
98:11I'm taking Juwan Johnson probably earlier than he needs to go.
98:14It wasn't that long ago his ADP in Yahoo was outside tight end 20, which is just ridiculous.
98:20Million catches last year because that's not a stat.
98:22He's the number two receiving target in New Orleans offense.
98:25I like, I like Shuck. I like Kellen Moore.
98:28I think the Saints are going to be fun.
98:30I think Juwan Johnson is a legitimate tight end starter every week.
98:34Scott, incredible pick. Love this. I mean, he is our go-to receiver outside of Chris Alave for the first six plus weeks.
98:41So Juwan Johnson to me is a top 12 tight end heading into the season.
98:45Yep. Still hilarious that him and Shuck played together in college considering how much older is Johnson?
98:50Oregon. Yeah, for sure. All right, Eric, you're up.
98:53Oh, there's nothing that gets me excited like taking a third down back and making him a big part of my team.
98:59But no, I do think Rashad White is maybe a little overlooked just given the makeup of the offense.
99:05And you're going to have offensive line problems, throw screens, I guess, you know.
99:09And so a guy who's been a 50-60 catch guy in the past, I'll take his my fourth back, Rashad White.
99:15Rashad White off the board. Dan Titus, where are we going?
99:19Oh, definitely got sniped on Juwan Johnson. We wanted him.
99:22So I'm just going next best on my board.
99:24Travis Kelsey, old faithful. Hopefully he has one year left in him.
99:28Patrick Mahoney's on track to start week one. So, hey, man, let's get it.
99:32One last season. Man, you either die the most exciting tight end in the NFL or you live long enough to hear yourself called old faithful there.
99:40Yeah, that's the life of Travis Kelsey here at this stage of the game.
99:44Boone, you're up. Man, after a couple boring picks, I finally got somebody I'm excited about.
99:49Jordan Tyson. I can draft him here. I think it's a great value because I can throw him on my IR spot
99:55and I will pick somebody We don't have IR spots in this league.
99:59We do. Oh, are you serious? No. No, we definitely do.
100:02I don't know. I don't know. Such a lie.
100:05I don't know. We do have IR spots, but you'll have four other guys hurt in like three weeks and then you won't have any IR spots.
100:13Maybe. But in the second half of the season, I think Tyson's going to be a starter for me.
100:19So like getting them here. All right. Great. Love it when you're already planning to have one of your picks miss the first half of the season.
100:27That's that's a that's a good recipe for success.
100:29Ray Garvin, you're up. Yeah, I really, really, really, especially in single quarterback leagues like I'm just really not interested in drafting quarterback early at all.
100:37And I didn't want to take one here, but I heard a lot of people.
100:42Scott talked about how good Amin Ra was. I've got Jamison Williams.
100:45T-Law's off the board. So I want to I want to get some stack possibilities here with Jamison Williams.
100:51So I'm gonna take Jared Goff right here to go with my JMO.
100:55And Goff is one of the players that he's projected to be one of the top passers in the NFL.
101:01Touchdowns should be abundant, whether that be between Jameer Gibbs or Amin Ra.
101:04So, yeah, I'll go with Goff right here as my first quarterback off the board in the 10th spot here in the 10th round.
101:12All right, Joel, you're up. Finished off the 10th round.
101:15It's a deep league 12 team with three receivers.
101:17So going to get a little bit more floor in the receiver room and going Jalen Coker.
101:22Similar one for the next round as a tease.
101:25I know. I'm sorry, Harmon. I'm sorry. I had to do it.
101:28That's right. I respect you for it. OK, the 10th round goes Chris Rodriguez to Chris Allen, Jonah Coleman to Eric Froton, Stefan Diggs to Josh Norris.
101:36Hayden Winks takes Isaiah. Likely, I took Mark Mike Washington Jr.
101:40Trevor Lawrence, Max off the board there. Juwan Johnson to Scott.
101:43Eric Edholms takes Rashad White. Travis Kelsey to Dan.
101:46Justin Boone takes Jordan Tyson. Jared Goff to Ray.
101:48And Joel Smith finishes off with Jalen Coker. Boys, note from producer Colin here.
101:52He is speeding up the clock. One minute for these picks in the 11th round and on.
101:58So just a heads up for the people out there.
102:00We are speeding up the clock. Joel, you already teased us with this 11th round pick.
102:05Where are we going? Same idea. Don't like him as much as Jalen Coker, but we're going to go Jacoby Myers through receiver league.
102:12Get a little bit more floor in that room.
102:15I love the Jacksonville offense this year. All right.
102:18I love that. Jacoby Myers is not going away.
102:20He's going to be the most annoying player in fantasy for anybody who took Parker Washington or Brian Thomas Jr.
102:26As I did. Okay. Ray, you're up in the round 11 spot.
102:30Fifth wide receiver on my squad and the number two option in Las Vegas behind Brock Bowers.
102:35Give me Trey Tucker here in the 11th round.
102:3830 points. 30 points. One week. Zero points. The next.
102:41Just going to fit there with the with the Jameson Williams pick from a little bit earlier.
102:46We love that. All right, Boone, you're up. You took Mike Washington the last round, hoping to get some cheap starts, maybe early in the season.
102:53I'm going to do that with Tyler Algier here.
102:56Jeremiah Love apparently 50 50 for week one. I might just be able to start Tyler Algier in week one.
103:02You might just be able to do that. We shall see how it goes.
103:06All right, Dan, you're up. Not going to lie.
103:09I'm raw dogging it from here on out, guys.
103:11Put up. Put up Boone's sleeper rankings. How many?
103:14I'm I'm going with Jalen McMillan, Tampa Bay. Some sleeper appeal.
103:17I like I trust Boone and his fancy analysis.
103:20So let's go. All right. Whenever you can appeal to one of the other guys in the league, that's when you know
103:27you're definitely on track to draft a winner. All right, Eric Edholm.
103:30You're up. You're like Rashid Shaheed gets forgotten a little bit.
103:33You know, and give a full offseason and just give him a chance to kind of settle in there and be that deep ball specialist.
103:4117 yard guy I catch before last season. So I think we'll see a little more value out of him.
103:47I like him here and I need another receiver.
103:49He needs another receiver. He takes Rashid Shaheed. Hopefully they get it more involved this year.
103:54I mean, what are we doing? All right, Scott, you're up.
103:57Yeah. In the words of Maverick, he felt the need, the need for Shaheed and the movie that Matt Harmon hasn't seen.
104:04I'm going to end my game of quarterback chicken.
104:07Brock Purdy has been underrated from the moment he stepped on the Iowa State campus and the moment he stepped on the San Francisco practice field.
104:14You know, he has to beat the transformer. I realize everybody gets hurt there, but it's a Shanahan offense.
104:20I think McCaffrey is going to have more attrition this year.
104:23Purdy is a sneaky, valuable runner. It's one reason why you wait on quarterback.
104:27He needs a lot of action. There's still a lot of good quarterbacks I could take, but I'm just finally going to
104:34cancel the chicken game and take Purdy. Have I seen that movie?
104:37I don't even know what movie it's from. Maybe I have.
104:41It's hard to say. All right, Max, you're up.
104:43Yeah, I think I'm going to take potentially the number one option.
104:47If the number one option that is currently being taken in the third round struggles to come back from a knee injury, which is a real possibility.
104:55Xavier Worthy not really competing with a ton of people in that Chiefs offense for targets.
105:00I'll take my chance in what should be a good offense.
105:03Sumo Holmes is back healthy in the 11th round.
105:06I'll take my chance. I'll take his chances that the shoulder can stick this season.
105:10All right. For my 11th round pick here, I'm going to take the chance that, you know, Aaron Jones deep into his 30s, never healthy.
105:17He's going to stay healthy this year and he's going to give me some sneaky running back value in the 11th round.
105:24I actually do believe that the Vikings for real for real this time want to establish their run game.
105:30Hayden Winks, you're up. Going with Keaton Mitchell need another running back.
105:33And I think there's a chance during the bye weeks he has enough juice to throw him in there.
105:39But really, if Hampton goes down, I think that Keaton Mitchell would be one of the most electric players in fantasy.
105:45He's at least going to have like one cool motion per game, maybe not play, but one cool motion per game in Mike McDaniels offense.
105:52We'll see if we can get you any points there for that.
105:56Josh, you are up. Woody Marks is the pick.
105:59I think Dave Montgomery has like the prototypical running back dead zone profile this year.
106:03And Woody Marks might, you know, factor in as the destruction of that fifth or sixth round pick for a lot of people.
106:10So Woody Marks, I love this in the 11th round.
106:13I am disturbed to admit how much I debated Aaron Jones versus Woody Marks in my head.
106:18I really don't want to admit that out loud.
106:21And yet here we are. I did just say it in front of the trillions of people watching this draft right now.
106:27Okay. Eric, you're up. It is the time for backup running backs and Brees Hall.
106:32Maybe he goes down at some point and Braylon Allen takes over.
106:35So I will take Braylon Allen, New York Jets.
106:38All right. Chris Allen, finish off the 11th round.
106:41My guy, Proton, had the exact same thought process.
106:43I'm looking for a guy that should the starter go down, wind up getting some RB1 value.
106:48So I'll take Tank Bigsby here. Tank Bigsby finishes off the 11th round.
106:52The 11th round went Jacoby Myers to Joel Smith, Trey Tucker to Ray Garvin.
106:56Justin Boone takes Tyler Algier, Jalen McMillan to Dan Titus, Eric Edholm, Rasheed Shaheed.
107:00Scott took Brock Purdy. Max took Xavier Worthy. I took Aaron Jones Sr.
107:04Keaton Mitchell to Hayden Winks. Woody Marks to Josh Norris.
107:07Eric Froton, Braylon Allen and Tank Bigsby to Chris Allen.
107:10All right. We're in the 12th round here. Back to you, Chris.
107:14All right. So start off here. I'll take Dallas Goddard with the caveat that I'll probably try and slot him into my flex position at some point.
107:22I still think there's a lot of targets that he can wind up getting in that Eagles offense, especially with AJ Brown gone.
107:29Fantastic value. What a steal he is this late.
107:31The tight end on his last legs. Of course, Scott loves that pick.
107:35What a shock. All right, Eric, you're up. Yeah, as I mentioned, I'm in Southern California.
107:40And I know it's four-point passing touchdown, but the Rams are going to gas it up this year and score points upon points upon points.
107:47And I love me some Matt Stafford. So I hope Pianowski likes it.
107:51Old codger Matt Stafford just along his line. I'm just worried their defense might be so good that he doesn't get quite the volume that you'd like.
107:59But there's nothing wrong with him in the 12th round.
108:02And Scott, Matthew Stafford was too good last year for Scott to like him.
108:06He needs to have a down year, and then Scott will really be into drafting him that season.
108:12Okay, Josh, you are up. Yeah, just want to hit pause here real quick.
108:16If you think Matt's doing a good job, leave a like on the stream.
108:20That's it. Let's get to like 1,000. I think you should have said anything else.
108:24Like you should have said, why did you have to leave it well in that condition?
108:29When in doubt, late in drafts, take a rookie.
108:32So I'm taking Denzel Boston here and loving it.
108:34All right, Denzel Boston. You know, Josh, I appreciate that.
108:37I don't know what you're hoping for. What if no one likes this?
108:41Then I have to really think about that. I'm trying to be kind to you, Matt.
108:46You know, I give you a pat on the back and stuff, you know?
108:50Thank you. Well, you know, I think it was a great pick, Josh.
108:54I think it was a great pick. And, you know, you look great.
108:58You look great on the other side of this.
109:01You know, you weren't feeling well this weekend. You're looking great.
109:04You're looking more recovered, more fresh than ever. So, you know, wonderful guy, Josh Norris.
109:08Hayden Winks, you're up. I'm going with the first kicker.
109:11I hate to admit it. I did some kicker research and I walked away with that, realizing that fantasy points over replacement
109:18do apply to kickers, that we should be drafting them earlier than we ever have.
109:22Kayemi Fairburn, the Texans kicker, whenever they're not in the red zone, they want to kick that field goal and he's good at it.
109:29I'm sorry. Is Denny Carter in this draft? Denny was right.
109:33Denny was right. We got to be all in on the kickers.
109:36I think the 11 other people in this stream are now Googling Hayden's kicker rankings to make sure they can select one early enough.
109:43You listening to that, bosses? History will show. I just hope the waiver wire has a kicker I deem usable week to week.
109:50What are the odds? We're all going to draft two or three of them and I'll have nobody I can play.
109:56You'd never stream a kicker, right? We have a super chat in from Byron7583.
110:00So once a week one question answered here and Scott, because you are the one I respect the most here, as I
110:07said, I'm going to throw this one to you.
110:10Hey guys, do you prefer Justin Herbert or Kyler Murray in week one?
110:13Your week one ranking, Scott. I know you've already been grinding those.
110:17Who are you going to rank higher? I just would like a little proof of concept with Kyler Murray.
110:23So I know Herbert's got a great matchup with Arizona.
110:26Hopefully he'll get some fourth quarter stats because that game could be a blowout draft that charges defense as your late round pick in your draft.
110:33But I have to side with Herbert. Boone, while I respect Scott, you are the rankings guy.
110:38So who's going to rank higher for you in week one?
110:42Haven't even started week one rankings. Not even chiming in yet until I do.
110:46Oh man. All right. I was hoping to get a consensus opinion there, but unfortunately you're just going to have to rely
110:52on Scott for this one, which I think is a very good source.
110:56Time here because I don't really want to say this pick out loud, but I do hate myself enough to take Dontavian Wicks in the 12th round.
111:04You're really leaning into the bed, aren't you? I think Wicks is actually going to have some sneaky value in Philadelphia this year, certainly early in the season.
111:13So yeah, the true number two receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, Dontavian Wicks.
111:16Come on down. Max, please save me for myself and take a real player here.
111:21I will take a real player. But if I said just his first initial, I feel like people will guess who it is.
111:28If it was the month of August, I wouldn't, I would make the joke.
111:32If the month, September, we got a week till the season.
111:35I'll take B Robinson, Brian Robinson Jr. From the Atlanta Falcons 12th round.
111:39All right. There we go. Brian Robinson Jr. Scott, you're up.
111:42You're just looking to tell yourself a story of a player who has ceiling.
111:46Evan Johnson had such a great camp with Kansas City that he rose up the depth chart.
111:51They cut Amari DiMercato. We know Kenneth Walker has had plenty of injuries in his career.
111:56So as an exciting backup, it's a one injury away pick.
111:59I can't play Evan Johnson right now, but he's a fun stash and hope for maybe some later value.
112:05A fun stash there indeed. Eric, you are up.
112:08Got a stash too. I liked Evan Johnson, but when he went, I pivoted to Zach Charbonnet.
112:13No week one to four value right now, but my week one to four value or starting lineup is covered, so figured
112:19I'd take a guy who's got some TD potential.
112:22Another IR candidate here in this one. All right, Dan Titus, you're up.
112:26Continuing the RB run, going Kalon Black. CMC gets hurt.
112:29Maybe he lets into a starting role. So cool.
112:31Justin Boone. Totally got sniped there. Hate that. Going to go with Tajay Spears.
112:36He actually played more than Pollard did in the preseason.
112:39Not that we're going to, you know, that's not going to count for too much here, but he's going to be involved in that backfield.
112:46Kind of a cheaper Kenneth Gainwell type. We love to hear that, you know, you got sniped on the Kalon Black pick in the 12th round.
112:54That is where we are in this draft. Ray Garvin, who do we got here?
112:58I'm really not feeling picking next to Boone because I got sniped on Tajay Spears.
113:03So I'll take Dylan Sampson. Difference between a true backup running back and one that might play a little bit more inside that Cleveland offense.
113:10Just check downs, receiving work. I know it's half PPR.
113:13Offense is very questionable, but I'll go Samson right here.
113:16The half PPR scam here for Dylan Sampson to Ray Garvin.
113:19Joel Smith, finish us off in the 12th round here.
113:22I was also going to go Tajay Spears. So Boone, if that makes you feel better, back to back snipes.
113:28It does. But I took the kicker at this point.
113:31There wasn't many guys that I really want here.
113:34So I'll take the top kicker in Brandon Aubrey.
113:36All right, there we go. We've got another kicker.
113:39What a wonderful sight to see. All right, 12th round.
113:42We've got Dallas Goddard. We've got Matthew Stafford. We got Denzel Boston.
113:46We got Kyrie Fairbairn. Dontavian Wicks to a known idiot in this round.
113:49Brian Robinson Jr., Emmett Johnson, Zach Charbonnet, Kalen Black, Tajay Spears, Dylan Sampson.
113:53Joel Smith finishes it off with Brandon Aubrey. Now let's get to the 13th round.
113:58Joel Smith, you're up. Yeah, Spears is gone. My last two picks are probably too stupid for anybody else to draft.
114:04So I'm going to take Houston's defense, go kicker defense back to back.
114:08Beautiful stuff here. Houston Texans defense in the 13th round.
114:11Shout out to our guy Sal Vetri sends us a super chat.
114:14He said, hey guys, first time caller. What round did Dajon Love go in?
114:18Ray was looking to take him, I believe, second off the board here.
114:22Couldn't find him in the queue. So there we go.
114:25He's in custody right now. So that's why I didn't think of this.
114:29Well, I'll leave it at that. I will say about Dajon Love, by the way, when he listed off three wide receivers
114:36that he was friends with in the NFL, he said Antonio Brown, Tyreek Hill, and John Brown.
114:41Okay? So, you know. Question the integrity of the man, but you can't hate the wide receiver.
114:46He's probably an RP subscriber, Matt. That's the issue here.
114:49Yeah. You know what? Legally, I'm going to have to not comment on that one.
114:53Okay, Justin Boone. No, no. Ray, you're on the clock here.
114:56Let's go. Yeah, I'm going with my second tight end.
114:59I'll, again, bet on a good offense, and I will take Jake Ferguson from the Dallas Cowboys.
115:04All right. That brings us to Justin Boone here.
115:07Where are we going? I am going against what I normally do, but I'm going to take a defense here.
115:13I want to see what happens with the Rams now that they have Miles Garrett and Aaron Donald.
115:18I have not taken them anywhere this year, so this is going to be the draft where I'm going to grab them
115:25and see what that defense looks like. All right.
115:28So, Boone does not follow his own advice. That is good to know.
115:31All right. Dan Titus, you're up. Have you looked at Boone's rankings?
115:35Do you have a pick here? Does Boone do kicker rankings?
115:38I don't know. I'm going with Cameron Dicker of the Chargers.
115:42I don't know. I just need a kicker, so top five.
115:45He does need a kicker. All right. There we go.
115:48Eric Edholm, you're up. I don't like Ryan Flannoy.
115:50I think this is the spot for him. There we go.
115:54Yeah. So, I'm going to go with the Steve Breston of the Dallas Cowboys offense, right?
115:58The number three guy who can actually put up some volume.
116:02So, I'll take a risk on Mr. Flannoy in Southeast Missouri State.
116:05Perfect. I like that pick there by you. If either of those two top Dallas Cowboys get hurt, you have a starter on your hands right there.
116:13Scott, you're up. Yeah, I love the Flannoy pick.
116:16We don't think of receivers as being one injury away, guys.
116:19But if Lamb or Pickens were to get hurt, he could be a top 30 receiver.
116:24Love that from Edholm. If you drafted earlier in the summer, you wouldn't take a defense or a kicker.
116:30But since we're so close to the season and everybody's going to be bubble wrapped pretty soon, I think it makes sense
116:36to actually fill the kicker in defense spots. I'm a stream guy at defense.
116:40I see the Chargers have the Cardinals and the Raiders the first two weeks.
116:44So, I'll ride with that, score a decent score, and then probably turn them over in week three.
116:50All right, Max, you're up. Yeah, I don't love a ton of the guys on the board.
116:55I'm operating along the same lines of kicker, defense.
116:57I think the Jaguars offense could push top five points per game.
117:01I think they'll be good in the red zone, but I'll take my chances with a guy like Cam Little, who I trust 40 and in.
117:09And then he obviously has a leg to hit up from 60 plus.
117:13I'll take Cam Little. All right. They're saying Matt Harmon has fell for it again because I'm going to go ahead and
117:19take Jalen Noll off the board here. I really don't understand why there's no excitement about Jalen Noll at all heading into his second season.
117:27Oh, he's now playing two receiver sets over Kayshawn Booty.
117:30Kayshawn Booty, 5'11", 203 pounds. Jalen Noll, 5'11", 200 pounds.
117:32You tell me three pounds makes all the difference?
117:35I don't think so. Jalen Noll. That's a good pick by me there.
117:39All right. There we go. Okay. Hayden, you're up.
117:42Back to back top 10 quarterback finishes adds Jalen Waddle.
117:45I'm going to take Bo Nix as my quarterback, too, for when, you know, Jaden Daniels probably breaks his whatever.
117:51Breaks his whatever. Whatever. There we go. Let's see if it's a diagnosis here.
117:55Josh, you're up. I'm going to take a kicker in Seattle's Jason Myers.
117:59I mean, if the offense is slightly worse, the defense will still be great.
118:03They might score fewer touchdowns and maybe more field goals.
118:06So I love Jason Myers here. You know, great, great notes on Jason Myers.
118:10We love to see that. Okay. Eric, you're up.
118:13Well, Camp Scadabo is the lead dog over there in New York.
118:16Tyrone Tracy's backing him up. Let's give it a go.
118:19Maybe he goes down. Maybe I get some Tyrone Tracy.
118:22Let's go. Is he? He might be the RB4.
118:25He might be the RB2. We'll find out in just a few short days when this thing kicks off.
118:30Chris, bring us home in the 13th round. I'll just take Debo Samuel here.
118:34I mean, if there's going to be any sort of efficiency boost or even if they maintain efficiency for the 49ers, seeing
118:41Debo back out there with Evans hurt, Ricky Pierce all out.
118:44Could get a few targets here and there. So I'll go Debo Samuel here.
118:48He could get a few targets here or there.
118:51He says, okay, round 13 went Houston, Texas defense, Jake Ferguson, Los Angeles Rams, Cameron Dicker, Ryan Flannoy, LA Chargers defense, Cam
118:58Little, Jalen Knoll, Bo Nix, Jason Myers, Tyron Tracy Jr.
119:01And Debo Samuel Sr. All right. We do have another super chat.
119:04Look at this super chat. Just sending it in here.
119:07This is wonderful stuff. This comes from Reed6067. 12-man PPR keeper league.
119:11Devontae Smith, Ray Rice, Tyler Warren. Or CeeDee Lamb, Brees Pierce.
119:14I love you. Oh my God. I can't believe they're going to make me say this.
119:19Let me start this over again. 12-man PPR keeper league.
119:22Devontae Smith, Ray Rice, Tyler Warren. I'm hoping that's Tyler Warren.
119:25CeeDee Lamb. Ray Rice. Brees Hall. Wait, Matt. Ray Rice?
119:28Wait. Rishi Rice. Rishi Rice. Brother, I've been talking for like three hours here.
119:32Well, you know what? I'm so tilted because I haven't even gotten to the worst part of this message yet.
119:38Alec Pierce. I love you, Daddy Smith. Okay. So this question is clearly for Joel Smith.
119:43Oh, Joel. Daddy Smith. Make the keeper pick between Devontae Smith.
119:46But Rasheed Rice. I'm assuming Tyler Warren. It only says Warren.
119:49CeeDee Lamb. Brees Hall. Or Alec Pierce. If they're all the same value, I would say CeeDee Lamb.
119:55That's, you know, end of the first, start of the second round pick.
119:58So if it's all the same value, I would say CeeDee Lamb.
120:02Outside of that, I think Devontae Smith is the player that I like the best.
120:06I can't believe I just had to say Daddy Smith.
120:09And I said Ray Rice. You could have replaced it with something.
120:13Twice. No. They sent in a super chat. I have to be accurate to what they said.
120:18That is part of the whole process here. All right.
120:21What are we in the 14th round? Let's start this thing off here, Chris.
120:25Using the same logic that Scott had for his defensive pick.
120:28I'm going to go with the Eagles here. Commanders week one.
120:32Tennessee Titans week two. Let's do it. All right.
120:34There we go. Eric, you're up. This is my pick.
120:37No, Eric. I was going to say. Okay. Eric, are you with us?
120:41He's in Southern California, folks. You have to. You have to unmute.
120:45You have to unmute. Harold Melvis has left the building, gentlemen.
120:48Okay. Okay. All right, Josh. You're up. We always talk about stacking in fantasy football.
120:52How about stacking your kicker and your defense? I'm doing that with the Seattle Seahawks.
120:57They have the Patriots in week one. We know what happened in the Super Bowl with how many sacks and turnovers they forced.
121:04And then the Cardinals and the Commanders in the opening three weeks.
121:07So I like that start for them. All right, Hayden.
121:10You're up next. I was due for an online pick.
121:13I'm going with Terrence Ferguson. I think he's a great redraft play.
121:17We'll flip over the cards. See how many routes he's running.
121:20And I'll drop them probably most likely. But what if?
121:23What if? An online pick. There we go. Okay, I'm up here.
121:27I'm taking Eddie Pinheiro, San Francisco 49ers kicker. I mean, Kyle Shannon gave him a four-year contract.
121:32You can't possibly hate him after two weeks. He probably will.
121:35Max, you're up. I hate to do this for all my friends back in Cleveland.
121:39I won't be back there for another week or so.
121:42But I'm a streaming defense guy. There's no better streaming defense in week one, I think, than the Jaguars defense against the Browns.
121:49So I'm going to ride that week one and see how we go.
121:53Max, if your friends in Cleveland are not self-aware enough to realize that what you said was just 100% accurate, I think
121:59you might need to get some new friends. Most of them are.
122:03Most of them are. Some are not. Most are.
122:06All right. Scott, you're up. So I hear all this promotion for the Green Bay receivers and the Green Bay tight end,
122:12and the defense is going to be bad. How come nobody wants to draft Jordan Love this year?
122:18Now, maybe I should have just taken a second tight end and not gone with two quarterbacks, but I think Jordan Love
122:24has like top eight upside this year. He's got a quarterback five finish on his resume.
122:29So maybe I could have even waited longer than I did to address the quarterback situation.
122:34But as my quarterback, too, I think Jordan Love makes a lot of sense.
122:38Yeah. I love Jordan Love as a fantasy quarterback this year.
122:41That's a good pick by you, Scott. Eric Edholm, you are up.
122:45I wanted Jordan Love. So that was I had to pivot to look anytime you can take a injury prone or a
122:51guy coming off an ACL to back up your injury prone quarterback.
122:55You just got to do it. Patrick Mahomes, come on down.
122:58All right. Patrick Mahomes. Harmon, real quick before we can't.
123:01I just need to know before I get close.
123:04We do not have to be roster compliant in this draft today.
123:07Right. Or do we have to be rostered because somebody's not.
123:10I just want to make sure that I don't have to have everything filled out.
123:15God, I don't know the rules of this draft.
123:17Of course you're talking. Perfect. You can 15 tight ends if you want.
123:21Perfect. Thank you, Scott. All right. Dan, you're up.
123:24Need a defense. Let me get the Denver Broncos.
123:27Top five. Don't like the week one matchup, but it's a long season.
123:31Boone, over to you. So when I'm looking for a kicker, I'm looking for a guy on a high scoring team.
123:37I'm looking for a guy who's in a matchup where they're going to have a lot of plays.
123:42And I'm looking for a guy who might be playing in a dome.
123:46Jake Bates says all of those things early in the season.
123:49All right, Ray. You don't want to be roster compliant, but you do have to take a picture.
123:55A pick here. What do we got? I went Jackson Dart.
123:58Went with a second quarterback. Give me, give me, give me crash out Dart rushing upside.
124:03Four point for passing touchdown. Give me Dart. All right, crash out Dart here on the board in round 15.
124:08Joel Smith. Now can I address you by your real name?
124:12Joel Smith. Take a pick here in round 14.
124:14We're going to follow the same path as Ray GQ with Kyler Murray as that second quarterback, just with the top 10
124:21upside at quarterback position with his rushing. Like you said, four point passing touchdowns.
124:25So I'll take it. All right. 14th round. Eagles defense.
124:28Harrison Mavis. Mavis. Mavis. Mavis. Seattle Seahawks. Terrence Ferguson.
124:31Eddie Pinheiro. Jacksonville Jaguars. Jordan Love. Patrick Mahomes. Broncos defense.
124:34Jake Bates. Jackson Dart. And Kyler Murray. All right.
124:36Let's close this thing out, boys. Joel Smith. You're up.
124:39I have not taken a running back since round five.
124:42And I'm saving the best for last. The most underrated handcuffs in the league.
124:46And that is Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis.
124:49All right. That is a good pick by you there.
124:52Ray Garvin. Who is your final selection in this draft?
124:55Since everybody's doing on-brand picks, I couldn't get to the strip club.
124:59There wasn't no six and nine available for me.
125:01So give me that booty, baby. Kayshawn booty right here in the last round for the brand.
125:06Hey, Josh, me and the buddies coming to the club, baby.
125:10Everyone's welcome. All right. There we go. Okay. James Boone, please take a player.
125:14Harmon is done with us. He is over it.
125:16Go with Chris Bell here. Already back from the ACL injury.
125:20Maybe as the year goes along, he can end up being the number one receiver in Miami.
125:25I dig it. Yeah, no, that's a really good pick.
125:28That's way better picked than Kayshawn booty. My God.
125:30Okay. All right. What's up? Backing up my QB with Tyler Shuck.
125:34New Orleans offense sleeper. So, yeah, man. Hopefully it comes through for me in a bye week.
125:39Hey, I like your odds there. Eric at home.
125:42You're up. I mean, Brenton strange. Time to get a little weird.
125:45Time to get a little weird. He says now that's it's been getting weird here for quite some time here.
125:51Actually, Eric. Scott, what do we got? Strange in the club.
125:54The booty. Again, earlier this summer, I would not take kickers of defense, but we're so close to the season.
126:00I will. Will Reichard checks all the boxes. Is the defense good?
126:04Yes. Is the team playing indoors? Yes. Is there going to the Vikings going to be a winning team?
126:09Probably. They certainly finished the season on a high note last year.
126:13And the only reason I would rank Reichard over somebody like Bates is because in Detroit, Dan Campbell just hates kicking on fourth down.
126:20He wants to go for it on fourth down.
126:23I think I see a lot of field goals in Minnesota's future.
126:26Probably right about that one. Max, your final selection.
126:29I was looking at the board, looking at my depth, realized there are some needs, but I also have an IR spot that I can use.
126:37And I'm going to take my chance on Tank Dell and the Texans offense.
126:41Obviously, they go trade for Kayshawn Booty. They need number two on the outside.
126:45But to me, he's kind of CJ Stroud's safety valve.
126:48So I'll take my chance there. Yep. I think that makes sense.
126:52Hopefully, he can get back soon. I'm certainly rooting for him.
126:55All right. Yeah. Usually, I'm with Scott. I would take a cutesy little vanity pick here for a stash, whatever.
127:01But the reality is, I'm going to forget to make a defense pick until right before kickoff.
127:06And I don't want to do that. So here we are.
127:09I'm going to take the Steelers defense to end this one.
127:12Why? Because they play the Atlanta Falcons in week one.
127:15They don't want to tell you who their starting quarterback is.
127:19It won't be good one way or another. So they are my defense here for at least the first week of the season.
127:25Hayden, you're up. I'll stick at home. Jacoby Lane, who Declan Doyle comps to Michael Thomas.
127:30I'm not sure if I believe that. But I'll give it the best.
127:34For the record, nobody should believe that. I don't.
127:37I don't. Josh, you're up. I mean, would it be a draft if Adonai Mitchell wasn't selected?
127:42I mean, we got to get the Jets wide receiver one.
127:45I mean, look, the guy just moves different. And that's actually going to turn into fancy points in 2026.
127:51All right. From your lips to God's ears. The people are desperate, by the way, for us to take Malik Willis in the chat right now.
127:58They're like, why haven't they taken Dolphins? We took Chris Bell.
128:02We took A-chan earlier. All right. There we go.
128:04It's fine. That's enough. We don't need to go that interesting on the Miami Dolphins offense in the year 2026.
128:10So, Eric Frotin, I don't know who you're going to take.
128:13Can you take Malik Willis? What's the deal? Who's your final pick?
128:17Did anyone expect me to not take the New England Patriots defense?
128:21It was either me or Pianowski. And Pianowski is too vapid to go with his hometown team.
128:26So, I am not afraid to do it. I know they're playing Seattle.
128:30I get it. But I am through and through a Boston boy.
128:33And I don't pretend to be anything else. We know that based on the hour-long pre-show chat about Boston things that no one knew about.
128:40And we found out multiple times throughout the course of this draft stream.
128:44Chris Allen, the final pick of the Yahoo Fantasy draft is?
128:48Evan McPherson. I'm going to do another Homer pick.
128:50All right. Beautiful. There we go. Okay. Let's bring up the whole board again.
128:54I mean, this has been some beautiful stuff. Let us know in the chat who you think won this draft.
129:00Don't tell us who you think lost this draft.
129:03You don't know. Okay. The draft is just one part of building a great fantasy league.
129:08It's the most fun part. Sure. But when you're building the team, it really comes together throughout the course of the season.
129:14Trades. Waivers. I don't know. We'll see. How many trades do we think are really happening in this league?
129:20We'll find out. Hopefully there's some action. We should make sure to do a little bit of that throughout the course of
129:26the season for the people out there. Anyone want to claim that they won the draft here?
129:31Anyone really believe that they are the one who drafted the best team?
129:35I will guarantee I make the playoffs. I will guarantee that I make the playoffs.
129:40Wow. Okay. I guarantee. The Scott Pianowski guarantee after drafting Amon Ross St.
129:44Brown, Kyron Williams, Zay Flowers, Luther Burden, David Montgomery, Travian Henderson, Cortland Sutton, Jordan Mason, Wandale Robinson, Juwan Johnson.
129:49Yeah. I mean, I'm still shook by the Luther Burden pick.
129:53Otherwise, Scott, this was perfectly on brand for you.
129:55What does fifth place pay off? Just ten out of twelve make the playoffs.
129:59All right, folks. This has been absolutely a blast to hang out with you guys.
130:04I told the producers we'd be done in less than three hours.
130:07Look at us. Three hours at draft. Professionals, baby.
130:10That is absolutely insane stuff. Great job, everyone. Joel Smith, Ray Garvin, Justin Boone, Dan Titus, Eric Edholm.
130:15We had Scott Pianowski. We had Max Loeb. We had me.
130:19Whatever. Who cares? Hayden Winks, Josh Norris, Eric Froton, and Chris Allen.
