62

A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury17:30

A.J. Brown is out for the Eagles in Week 2, leaving Drake Maye without one of his top receiving options. The source notes that this week Drake Maye has no A.J. Brown, no Stefan Diggs, no Kayshawn Booty, leaving him with Romeo Doubs, Mac Collins, Kyle Williams, and Demario Douglas as his receiving options.

Insight page

Aaron Jones

PositiveUsage15:05

With Jordan Mason on injured reserve with a broken thumb, Aaron Jones is expected to get a ton of touches for the Vikings. The source recommends playing Aaron Jones this week because of the increased volume.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveMatchup34:30

Baker Mayfield has a favorable matchup against his former team, the Cleveland Browns, in week two. The source notes the cosmic irony that Mayfield, who was benched for Deshaun Watson, now has a very good chance to beat the Browns and potentially end Watson's tenure in Cleveland. Tampa Bay is at home and motivated after a close week one loss.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveProjection38:58

Robinson accounted for 54% of the Falcons' expected fantasy points in Week 1, justifying his pre-season ranking as a top-2 back despite playing on a terrible offense with a bad quarterback; the source notes he looked awesome and made incredible plays, though cautioning that this volume level may not be sustainable every week.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout39:32

The source describes Robinson's open-field ability as potentially the best since Adrian Peterson, praising his movement and ball-carrying skills as 'unbelievable'; despite playing for a bad Falcons team, Robinson is viewed as underrated and would be 'the most famous player in the NFL' if on a better team.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveRole29:24

Breece Hall scored a touchdown in week one and is part of the Jets' decent run game that supports Geno Smith's passing game. The source views Hall as a key component of the Jets' offensive balance.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection41:59

Despite an ankle injury, Young is expected to play this week and is viable for fantasy; the source notes he hasn't played a bad game longer than expected, played okay last week, and faces Atlanta's toothless pass rush (James Pierce Jr. suspended, Jalen Walker out for season, another defensive tackle lost this week), making the Panthers' quarterback a reasonable start.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

NegativeProjection2:16

Stroud has the biggest variance of any quarterback in the NFL this year in terms of range of outcomes; he's had five fumbles in his last three games (five vs. Steelers, four interceptions vs. Patriots, two fumbles vs. Bills including a game-ending strip), and now faces the Bengals who forced four turnovers last week including three against Baker Mayfield. The source notes that if Stroud has a horrific season, there's a world where the Texans consider replacing him, though a great quarterback is still in there.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

PositiveProjection11:40

The source expects Caleb to handle Brian Flores' aggressive blitz scheme (48% blitz rate in two games last year, including 68% in one game) because he's good enough to shred it. Last year in those two games, Caleb completed 55% of passes, averaged 200 yards passing per game, had one touchdown with a 78 passer rating under 43% pressure rate. One of those games was Week 1 with Ben Johnson (a loss), and the Bears beat Minnesota 19-17 in Week 11. The source notes Caleb is one touchdown away from throwing 50 touchdown passes before 15 interceptions, a feat only Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson have achieved.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

NegativeMatchup27:48

Carnell Tate faces a brutal matchup against the Eagles' elite defense in week two. The source expresses strong reluctance to play Tate this week, noting the Titans' offensive struggles and the Eagles' defensive strength make this a matchup to avoid in fantasy.

Insight page

Carson Wentz

NegativeProjection15:25

The source is dubious of Carson Wentz as a potential starter if Kyler Murray doesn't play, expressing skepticism about either option. However, the source also notes that if the Bears are a shootout team, even Carson Wentz could perform adequately.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeRole77:37

Mentioned as part of the Bears offense alongside Luther Burden, Lad McConkie, and Marion Hampton; discussed in context of whether these players might be trade targets after a poor Week 1 performance, though the source notes people are unlikely to trade after Week 1 regardless of team performance.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveProjection69:20

The source noted that Deebo Samuel looked pretty good in Week 1, moving around the field, running after the catch, and making guys miss, suggesting positive momentum heading into Week 2.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection43:41

The source projects Derrick Henry could have an explosive game against the Saints, potentially getting 290 yards and four touchdowns on 40 carries; this is based on the Ravens having the most plays of 10+ yards last week and the Saints giving up the third-most such plays, creating a favorable matchup for big plays.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeProjection35:00

Deshaun Watson has not thrown for five touchdowns in a calendar month in over four and a half years, making his complaint about media expectations (wanting 400 yards and five touchdowns every week) disconnected from reality. The source notes Watson is "the most disconnected person from reality in the entire NFL" and may be benched if he loses to Tampa Bay this week, potentially ending his tenure with the Browns.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveRole22:21

The Steelers are using DK Metcalf differently in 2024 than last year; he's running more over-the-middle routes, crossing routes, and slants rather than just sideline routes. His air yards per target increased significantly to 17 in week one versus 10 last year, indicating expanded role and deeper targets. Despite a poor week one performance with dropped passes, the source believes Metcalf is the number one in the Steelers offense and may be underrated in fantasy football due to Aaron Rodgers' second-year familiarity and off-season work together.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeMatchup40:42

The source would 'begrudgingly play London' in Week 2 against the Panthers, who allowed 59 points in Week 1; however, there is uncertainty due to potential quarterback changes—if Michael Penix Jr. or Cooper Rush starts instead of the injured Kirk Cousins, London's value becomes more questionable, with the source expressing nervousness about playing him with Cooper Rush.

Insight page

Drew Lock

NegativeRole53:14

Drew Locke is starting for the Seahawks against Arizona in Week 2 and will need to function as a game manager to win; the source estimates his presence reduces the Seahawks' spread by over a touchdown compared to if Samuel Darnold were starting, suggesting Vegas respects the backup quarterback situation as a significant downside factor for Seattle's offense.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveRole29:24

Garrett Wilson showed a legitimate connection with Geno Smith in week one. The source watched the Jets game and was impressed by their connection, noting it as a positive sign for Wilson's fantasy outlook going forward.

Insight page

Geno Smith

PositiveProjection29:00

Geno Smith had an encouraging week one performance against the Titans. He was pressured only six times (least in the NFL), was sacked zero times, completed nearly 80% of his passes, and ranked eighth in EPA per drop back. The source is encouraged by his sharp play and connection with Garrett Wilson, and believes he can maintain this level with a decent offensive line, good weapons, and a decent run game.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeRole68:43

The source noted that George Kittle is still probably on a snap count heading into Week 2 against the Dolphins, limiting his immediate fantasy upside despite the 49ers' dominant matchup.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeProjection7:10

The source expects to play Jamar Chase despite Joe Burrow's back injury, though notes it wouldn't be shocking if Chase didn't have a great game given Burrow's condition and the Texans defense.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveRole40:50

In the last seven games Jalen Coker and Ted McMillan played together, Coker had 12 more catches and 150 more yards, establishing him as the de facto number-one receiver in the Panthers offense; despite an ankle injury, he is expected to play Week 2 and the source recommends playing him.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout43:07

Jalen Coker scored 35 points in Week 1, establishing himself as a breakout performer; the source uses this as a comparison point to highlight his explosive early-season production and suggests he is a preferred start over Jalen Waddle.

Insight page

Jayden Higgins

NegativeInjury4:15

Higgins, the rookie, tore his ACL and is out for the Texans in Week 2, leaving C.J. Stroud without two of his top receiving options alongside Nico Collins.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeBust43:07

Waddle is underperforming relative to expectations; the source expresses concern ('things are bad with my Waddle bags') and uses a comparison to Jalen Coker's 35-point Week 1 to highlight Waddle's disappointing production, suggesting it may take him seven weeks to accumulate what Coker scored in one week.

Insight page
NegativeRole50:49

The Broncos acquired Jalen Waddle but have not integrated him into their game plan; the source notes they are treating him like Marvin Harrison Jr. (implying minimal usage) and made very literal moves without changing their offensive approach, suggesting Waddle may not see the volume or role expected despite the trade.

Insight page
PositiveProjection63:32

Waddle combined with Tyreek Hill for 360 yards and 2 TDs in Tagovailoa's second game under Mike McDaniel (42-point team output), demonstrating the explosive ceiling of McDaniel's offense; the source uses this as evidence to buy into Chargers pass-catchers despite Week 1 disappointment.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeRole61:59

Love will be the Cardinals' starting running back against the Seahawks, but the source expresses concern about his fantasy viability; if rotated and receiving only 12 touches against a strong Seahawks run defense, he could produce as little as 35 yards and would need a touchdown to be worthwhile.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

NegativeInjury7:10

Burrow has a midweek back issue that popped up after getting hit by Alex Anzalone on Sunday; he seems likely to play but the source is skeptical of his performance. The source notes Burrow is benchable this week because he doesn't like Burrow with back issues versus the Texans, and Burrow is less mobile than Josh Allen. Burrow is ranked as a fringe starter (12th quarterback) in their rankings. Burrow has a history of injuries: missed half a season three times (turf toe last year, wrist injury, ACL), plus appendectomy, strained calf, finger injuries, and knee injuries.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

PositiveProjection15:45

The source is willing to play Jordan Addison despite his zero points last week, noting there's a chance the game is an absolute shootout and the Bears can't stop even Carson Wentz. The source also notes that picking the number two receiver on an offense playing the Bears defense is somewhat sound process, and this week in particular it's worth it given the potential for a high-scoring game.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeMatchup14:00

Last week against the Vikings, Jordan Love was completely ineffective on dropbacks where the Vikings didn't blitz (they blitzed 78% of his dropbacks). The source notes Love was out of sorts when the blitz didn't come, suggesting he was expecting it and didn't know what to do when it didn't happen, with his numbers being absolutely atrocious on non-blitz plays.

Insight page
NegativeProjection32:00

Jordan Love was pressured 25 times and hit 15 times in week one against Minnesota, which blitzed 80% of the game. The source is concerned about the Packers' offensive line protection and doesn't believe in the team's overall talent level, particularly in the trenches.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeInjury15:05

Mason is on injured reserve with a broken thumb, removing him from the Vikings backfield and opening up volume for Aaron Jones.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeProjection16:15

The source mentions Jefferson in the context of the Vikings-Bears game but does not provide specific fantasy analysis or projection for him.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveRole43:41

Juwan Johnson is recommended as a start in the Saints-Ravens game, which the source calls a 'Mario Kart rainbow strip game' where all offensive players should be started due to the favorable matchup (Ravens had most 10+ yard plays last week; Saints gave up third-most).

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeRole40:42

Pitts did not record a catch in Week 1 and the source explicitly states 'I don't think you can play Kyle Pitts' and 'I probably would not play Pitts,' indicating a fade recommendation for Week 2 despite his draft pedigree.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeInjury15:25

Kyler Murray has a concussion and his status for Week 2 is uncertain. The source expresses surprise at the concussion and notes that Carson Wentz may play instead, though the source is dubious of either option.

Insight page

Laviska Shenault

PositiveRole43:41

Laviska Shenault is recommended as a start in the Saints-Ravens game, which the source calls a 'Mario Kart rainbow strip game' where all offensive players should be started due to the favorable matchup.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeRole77:37

Mentioned as part of the Bears offense alongside Colston Loveland, Lad McConkie, and Marion Hampton; discussed in context of whether these players might be trade targets after a poor Week 1 performance, though the source notes people are unlikely to trade after Week 1 regardless of team performance.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveRole44:01

Mark Andrews remains one of Baltimore's primary receiving options in a game the source calls a 'Mario Kart rainbow strip game' where all Ravens receivers should be started; the source explicitly recommends starting him against the Saints.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeUsage30:30

Marshawn Lloyd was very underwhelming in week one for the Packers. Green Bay only got 15% of their total yards from rushing (their lowest since 2023), and Lloyd looked underwhelming in the process. The source is skeptical of the Packers' running game going forward, especially with concerns about Lloyd's small hands and fumbling history in college, which could be problematic in rainy conditions.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeMatchup62:16

The source advises against starting Marvin Harrison Jr. in the Cardinals-Seahawks matchup, citing the Seahawks' strong defense and the Cardinals' overall offensive struggles; this is a fade recommendation for Week 2.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeMatchup62:16

The source advises against starting Michael Wilson in the Cardinals-Seahawks matchup, grouping him with Marvin Harrison Jr. as a fade due to the Seahawks' strong defense and the Cardinals' offensive limitations.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveProjection69:20

The source highlighted Mike Evans as individually impressive in Week 1 against the Rams, noting he looked rejuvenated and moved around the field well. The source also emphasized that the entire 49ers season relies on Evans' hamstring health, given his age (33) and the dire consequences if anything happens to him.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeInjury3:15

Collins suffered a grade one hamstring strain midweek and is undergoing tests; the source notes it's best-case scenario for a hamstring but expresses doubt he'll play Sunday, noting it's hard to hurt your hamstring on Wednesday and play Sunday. The source advises avoiding starting Collins even if he's a game-time decision Sunday morning, citing a rule developed last year: if a player is trying to make it work the morning of the game, don't put yourself through it because there's a high probability of re-injury.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeRole77:37

Mentioned as part of the Bears offense alongside Colston Loveland, Luther Burden, and Lad McConkie; discussed in context of whether these players might be trade targets after a poor Week 1 performance, though the source notes people are unlikely to trade after Week 1 regardless of team performance.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveRole44:01

With Zay Flowers unlikely to play (did not practice Wednesday or Thursday) and Jacoby Lamar out for Baltimore, Rashad Bateman is one of the primary receiving options alongside Eli Surratt and Mark Andrews in a game the source calls a 'Mario Kart rainbow strip game' where all Ravens receivers should be started.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveValue17:45

The source nominates Romeo Doubs as a screaming buy-low option for Week 2 against the Patriots. Doubs has been good his whole career and was reliable in Green Bay. He had a bad drop on a big third down in Week 1 and was shown on the bench multiple times by the broadcast, appearing devastated by the mistake. The Patriots gave Doubs $68 million, indicating his value. The source suggests he's a good play despite the negative Week 1 narrative.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeMatchup24:00

The Eagles' offensive line struggles are creating a difficult matchup for Saquon Barkley. Philadelphia averaged just 1.95 yards per play on first down in week one (the lowest in recent years), which forces them into unfavorable second-and-long situations. Landon Dickerson's move to injured reserve due to lack of conditioning compounds the line's issues, and the Eagles' inability to gain yards on first down limits Barkley's effectiveness and forces reliance on play-action, which they ran only 8% of the time in week one.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeInjury17:30

Stefan Diggs is out for the Eagles in Week 2, leaving Drake Maye without one of his top receiving options alongside A.J. Brown.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeProjection7:10

The source mentions playing Tee Higgins despite Joe Burrow's back injury, though notes it wouldn't be shocking if Higgins didn't have a great game given Burrow's condition and the Texans defense.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeMatchup28:18

Tony Pollard faces a difficult matchup against the Eagles' strong defense. The source compares Pollard's situation to Carnell Tate's, noting he will "run into a brick wall" against Philadelphia's defense. Additionally, Pollard is splitting reps more with Tajay Spears this year than last year, reducing his workload.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveRole43:41

Travis Etienne is recommended as a start in the Saints-Ravens game, which the source calls a 'Mario Kart rainbow strip game' where all offensive players should be started due to the favorable matchup.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection6:42

Trevor Lawrence has been playing at an elite level since Thanksgiving, with the source noting that if Justin Herbert had performed at Lawrence's recent standard, it would be extraordinary; Lawrence has now strung together many consecutive games of unbelievable play, yet remains underrated relative to the respect afforded to Herbert despite not yet having established a long track record of excellence.

Insight page
PositiveRole6:42

The source identifies Liam Cohen paired with Trevor Lawrence as one of the best quarterback play-caller combos in the NFL right now, especially over the last eight games; they can be ranked alongside some of the best offenses in the league in terms of game plan design, play sequencing, and operational efficiency, with the potential to become a Ben Johnson–Caleb Williams type of marriage between quarterback and coordinator.

Insight page
PositiveProjection46:54

Lawrence is on an absolute heater in his last eight games (7-1 record, only loss in wildcard playoff game vs. Bills), averaging 33 points per game and 350 yards per game with 31 touchdowns across eight games. The Jaguars offense is described as one of the hottest in the NFL, comparable to the Bears' recent performance, facing a very good Broncos defense in Week 2.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveRole61:52

McBride is the primary pass-catching option for the Cardinals against the Seahawks; the source explicitly states 'it's just Trey McBride' when discussing startable Cardinals receivers in this matchup, positioning him as the clear focal point of the passing game.

Insight page

Tua Tagovailoa

PositiveProjection63:29

Tagovailoa's performance trajectory under Mike McDaniel is dramatic: Game 1 with McDaniel yielded 270 yards, 1 TD, 3 sacks, and 20 team points; Game 2 produced 470 yards, 6 TDs, and 42 team points. The source frames this as evidence that the Chargers should be buying into McDaniel's offense and its playmakers, suggesting Tagovailoa's upside is significant and the Week 1 performance was an outlier.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

PositiveProjection63:32

Hill combined with Jalen Waddle for 360 yards and 2 TDs in Tagovailoa's second game under Mike McDaniel (42-point team output), demonstrating the explosive ceiling of McDaniel's offense; the source uses this as evidence to buy into Chargers pass-catchers despite Week 1 disappointment.

Insight page

Xavier Hutchinson

NegativeRole5:05

With Nico Collins and Jaden Higgins out, Hutchinson is expected to play significant snaps for the Texans. The source leans toward Hutchinson over Kayshawn Booty as a potential fill-in option, though expresses no strong confidence in either, noting the passing game could suffer and have ramifications for the run game.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury44:01

Zay Flowers is highly unlikely to play this week; he did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, making him a fade for Week 2 against the Saints.

1:47My name is Danny Heifetz and I'm joined by Danny Kelly and Craig Horlbeck and we are previewing every game of week two.
1:53We're going to give you one fact, stat, a little nugget for every single game of week two.
1:58A little nug. Yeah. Chicken nugs, baby. All right.
2:01We're going to start with, I think we have to start, I want roughly chronological order here of the, the way the
2:07games are going to go on Sunday. But I want to start with, I think Bengals are at the Houston Texans.
2:13I feel like that's probably the biggest game in that early window, which we can never agree on what it should be
2:20called, but I'm going to go with the early slate.
2:231 PM Eastern, 10 AM Pacific. You're the only one.
2:26You're right. I am upset. I've never heard anyone in my life, East Coast or West Coast, have an issue with how we discuss the early slate.
2:33My one fact for Texans Bengals is that C.G.
2:36Stroud's last three games, he had five fumbles versus the Steelers, four interceptions versus the Patriots, and then two fumbles last week
2:42versus the Bills, including a game ending one where all he had to do was throw it out of bounds or into the end zone.
2:50And now they're playing the Cincinnati Bengals, who forced four turnovers last week, including three against Baker Mayfield.
2:55This game is really funny because one for some, I find myself out of the three of us here, defending Stroud the most.
3:01I feel, I think we're placing way too much emphasis on him fucking at that fumble at the end of the game.
3:08I really think he just like tried to step up in the pocket and make a play and he got stripped.
3:14But this game's weird because you're putting a lot of pressure on Stroud in this game, which I understand.
3:19Nico Collins might not play in this game. Nico Collins hurt his hamstring midweek, which just, just kills you.
3:25There's just nothing worse. I got Nico Collins in my high school league.
3:29You see the little cue pop up on a Wednesday.
3:32I'm like, he played the whole game. He had like 80 yards and a touchdown.
3:36He looked great. What's the problem? And it's like, hurt it in practice.
3:40Now he's getting, he's undergoing tests. It came out into grade one hamstring strain, which is best case scenario.
3:45I don't know if he's gonna play this week.
3:48I feel like it's hard to hurt your hamstring on Wednesday and play Sunday.
3:52Probably not. This is not right or fair, but something about your player getting hurt in the middle of the week at practice feels like a betrayal.
4:00It does. Because at least if you, if you had a bad week before you, you kind of, but you made it out a lot.
4:07When your player's not injured on Sunday, that's like the one thing you have.
4:11If you lost, you're like, at least my team is healthy going into next week.
4:15So it is actually shitty. So now CJ Stroud doesn't have Nico Collins.
4:19He doesn't have Jaden Higgins, the rookie who tours ACL.
4:22So we're working with like Hutchinson, Jalen Knoll, uh, Jared Wayne.
4:25I was, I was gonna ask you guys about Jared Wayne is like the first true NPC of the season.
4:31He's going to play probably he played last week.
4:34Yeah. Yeah. You'd catch, but I'm like, he's going to be on the field.
4:38So I just think this is a huge game for, I guess we disagree.
4:42I just look at Stroud as it's again, if he does a Darnold and the Texans go and win the Superbowl, CJ
4:48Stroud's going to get like the biggest contract in the NFL probably.
4:51Cause they're not going to be able to lose their Superbowl starter.
4:55So he'll just have, but if CJ Stroud has a horrific season, there's a world, the Texans are like maybe thinking about replacing him.
5:02He is the biggest variance of any quarterback in the NFL this year in terms of range of outcomes.
5:07And I still think a great quarterback's in there, but yeah, it's like the offensive line for Houston was both better than
5:14it looked and also impressive and unimpressive at times.
5:16The run game looked better than we hoped. I thought the pass protection was confused at best, uh, at important moments in the game.
5:23But again, the Bengals, I don't think the Bengals defense is great either.
5:27It's vulnerable, but the Bengals clearly are trying to make up with explosive defensive plays and just kind of, they're just going for the ball.
5:34Baker's at liable for it. Baker's led the NFL on fumbles last three years or co-led, but like Stroud is too.
5:40I'm just saying Stroud needs to protect the ball.
5:43If the Texans defense gets back to being elite, literally all Stroud has to do is not turn the ball over twice every game.
5:50DK, do you have a feel between Xavier Hutchinson, Jalen Nolan, Kayshawn Booty?
5:54If, if somebody had an eco Collins or if you're looking for, you know, if you have Ladd McConkie or something like
6:00that, who might not play this week, do you think any, any Texan is worth starting or no?
6:05Probably not. Um, I think I would, I guess I would lean like Hutchinson or Booty, one of those two, because they're going to be playing the most.
6:13I don't have a strong lean either way on those two because Booty just got there.
6:18Hutchinson's kind of been around, so I guess I would probably say Hutchinson, but, um, I don't feel confident.
6:24I think this passing game could suffer, could in the, and that could have ramifications for the run game, which we saw take off last week.
6:31I thought the, the Bengals defense was, was pretty interesting, at least relative to like, I think what we've expected from them
6:37over the last few years, where it was just like a hot knife through butter.
6:42Anytime you go against the Bengals, um, the Dexter Lawrence addition looked good boy.
6:46Mafe had a sack. They, I think they had four strip sacks or sorry, four, four, four fumbles, uh, against the, uh, against the bucks last week.
6:54Not to say that they're like a great defense now, but I do think they can certainly make more problems for an
7:00opposing quarterback than I think we expected last year.
7:03And so, um, yeah, I, I don't know. I, I, I would probably stay away from the Texans offense in this game.
7:09I think you played David Montgomery. Yeah, for sure.
7:12But the passing game is hard. I think the other thing is Joe Burrow has a back injury.
7:17He see, it seems like he both has speaking midweek injuries.
7:20Burrow has a back issue pop up. I think he got hurt on Sunday.
7:24It seems like that play where Alex Anzalone, the linebacker for the books just popped him going out of like right at the pylon for a first down.
7:32And it seems like Burrow probably got hurt there, but then has this midweek back issue.
7:37And he seems like he's going to play. And I don't know if it changes anything.
7:41Yes. You're going to play Jamar chase. I think you played to Higgins, but it wouldn't be shocking if that wasn't a great game for him.
7:49The person I kind of think is somewhat benchable is Joe Burrow, because I don't like Joe Burrow with back issues versus the Texans.
7:56But also I'm a little skeptical that Burrow is going to play as well as Josh Allen, because he's not as mobile.
8:02But if you have Joe Burrow, you probably don't have a quarterback that you're willing to bench him for.
8:08But I'm not necessarily as bullish on Burrow this week with the back injury.
8:12But if you're a Bengals fan, you're nervous. Yeah.
8:14Burrow versus the Texans defense is not a great comment.
8:17Yeah. We have Burrow as a fringe starter. He's like the 12th quarterback ranked in our rankings.
8:22And I think that's right. I think like, yeah, if you have somebody who's like your backup, like a, like a Jordan
8:29love against the jets, like, I think it's totally fine to consider playing him.
8:33I can't believe we're here with Burrow. This is another dead dove.
8:36The quote from Burrow today or was, was if I'm not getting surgery, I'll be out there.
8:41I'm like, that doesn't make me feel good. That's the bar.
8:44Like you are. That's like where your head's at.
8:47He's like, well, I don't need surgery. So I'll play.
8:50It's like, Jesus Christ. I think that it was a response to him being last.
8:54Would you miss time? And he was like, no.
8:57But I mean, again, it's Burrow. It's so funny.
8:59I was so. He didn't throw in practice yesterday.
9:02No. And again, Burrow has missed time. I mean, he's missed half a season, three times.
9:06Turf toe last year, wrist injury ACL. And that doesn't include like an appendectomy that cost him all of training camp once
9:13a strained calf finger injuries, knee injuries. Like he takes a lot of hits.
9:17That's the Bengals line gets blamed, but it's kind of Burrow style of play.
9:21Burrow is going to try to scramble in the pocket, extend plays, and he wants to get rid of the ball as
9:27late as possible to create a big play. And he's willing to take a sack or a hit to create an explosive play.
9:34The downside is, it's kind of just, this is just the new reality is Burrow's just always has something injury wise.
9:40And it's, it's, it's a choice. It's downstream of the choices he makes of the way he wants to play football, which
9:46is also why everyone loves the way Joe Burrow plays football and his fearlessness.
9:50But yeah, I think Bengals fans are probably freaking sick that there's another midweek, like another issue with Joe Burrow already one game into the season.
9:58Let me ask you a question here. DK, I'll ask you.
10:01Always like putting you on the spot. Nico Collins is not practicing today.
10:05It's Thursday as we're, as we're recording. He's probably not going to do anything all weekend.
10:10If let's say it's Sunday morning and Nico Collins is out there warming up and it's like, he's, he's a game time decision and it's a report.
10:17Don't do it. Nico Collins is going to start week two against the Bengals and play through this.
10:23He feels good. Yeah. Are you playing him or no?
10:25I mean, of course the, the there's caveats. It depends on your team, of course, but I'm trying as hard as I
10:32can to avoid doing that, you know? Um, just because I think this was a rule that we came up with last year.
10:39It's like, if he's, if he's trying to make it work the morning of the game, just don't put yourself through that.
10:45Don't put yourself through that. It doesn't, it usually doesn't work out.
10:48It's a high, high degree or high, um, probability of re-injury or whatever.
10:52I don't know. It's to me, that's just like not good process really.
10:56And so if you have another option, go with the other option, especially when it's like the one PM, the early slate where you have other options.
11:04I, the last year we decided that if to your DK's point, basically never do it because the answer always seems to
11:10be, if the training staff that is a professional football team's training staff is not even sure about the injury and until
11:1690 minutes before the game, how are we supposed to be?
11:20That that player is healthy. It's like so low that you just see the little name pop up and you're like, if
11:26you could watch them, I don't know. I probably not.
11:29So especially the fact that it was Wednesday, I think that's the answer is I would not play Nico this one.
11:35So watch you go off. Sorry, Craig, uh, DK.
11:38All right. We got Vikings at bears. Exciting game.
11:40My one stat for this game is that last year, Brian Flores and the Vikings defense blitzed Caleb Williams on 48% of
11:47his drop backs in two games, including one game where that number was 68%.
11:51So I'm expecting a kind of fireworks style game here where the Vikings try as hard as they can to get Caleb
11:57Williams out of whack and making bad decisions or throwing off his back foot or trying to escape and making a bad decision.
12:04Um, and there's going to be a ton of pressure in, in those two games last year, Caleb was pressured 35 times, four sacks, eight quarterback hits.
12:11Uh, they split the, they split those two games.
12:14There's one once lost ones. Um, so I'm, I'm just really expecting the Vikings to throw the kitchen sink at Caleb in,
12:20in this game, or maybe like if they want to really change things up, maybe they won't like blitz as much and
12:27kind of see how he can react to just playing in structure.
12:30I don't know. I just think it's going to be a fascinating chess match.
12:34Our former colleague, Steven Reese would always talk about how Brian Flores is kind of like the, um, the, that little like
12:41sign of like, are you tall enough to ride the ride at the quarterback position?
12:45And if you're a big boy, you can beat what Flores is doing, but all the quarterbacks that are like not really
12:51good enough to cut it, just get absolutely put through the, like the wood chipper.
12:56And then guy, it takes guys like Stafford and like better quarterbacks can really shred it.
13:00But it's like, if you don't know what you're looking at, it looks just absolutely like quarterbacks can handle it.
13:06And I think Caleb is good enough to shred it.
13:09Last year. I agree with you. I think in the way that he's made jumps each year, I think in what we
13:15saw last week, I agree that I think he can handle it.
13:19But last year in those two games, he completed 55% of his passes, average 200 yards passing a game and had just
13:25one touchdown with a 78 press rating. Well, 43% pressure rate.
13:28They played them week one. One of their two games was week one, the very first game with Ben Johnson and Caleb.
13:35So I, that was like, that was the one they lost.
13:38Yes. And so, you know, I might, I might throw that one out a little.
13:42They, they, they won, they beat Minnesota in week 11 last year.
13:46Right. Yeah. Yeah. They beat up 19 to 17 in week 11.
13:49Um, but yeah, I think, you know, what we saw last year or last week from the Vikings, 78% of this dropbacks,
13:56uh, for the Packers, the Vikings blitzed, they were just sending that crazy 78% of dropbacks.
14:00So basically, you know, and by the way, on the one, on the throws or dropbacks that they didn't blitz, Jordan Love was completely unaffected, ineffective.
14:08He was completely out of sorts. Yeah. Um, because I think he was just expecting it's like, you know, where, where someone
14:14is expecting something and they don't know what to do when it doesn't happen.
14:18Like even when they didn't blitz, he, I think his numbers were absolutely atrocious.
14:22And so, yeah, it's like, it's like telling someone I'm going to scare the shit out of you in the next week.
14:29Yeah. And you just go about your day. And every time you around the corner, is it there?
14:34Yeah. That's the question. Someone has Ben Johnson at his press conference this week.
14:38They're like, since you've gone against Brian, because obviously Ben Johnson was with Detroit before he's like, have you gone against Brian
14:44Flores so many times that do you think that you're like, I know what he's going to do, but I'm wondering what he thinks.
14:51I think that he thinks that I think that he thinks that you'll think what he's going to do.
14:57Ben Johnson was like, exactly. Yeah. It's like, how many layers deep does it go?
15:01And, uh, the other thing I want to say also Jordan Mason, the Vikings running backs on injured reserve, the broken thumb.
15:07So I think if you have Aaron Jones, you play Aaron Jones this week because he's going to get a ton of touches.
15:14They signed, they have Demond Claiborne who's a rookie, but they have DJ Dallas signed and I feel like he's going to
15:20end up rotating in just, yeah, I think he'll play in front of Claiborne.
15:24Yeah. At least that's what they were doing in the preseason.
15:28Uh, and obviously Kyler Murray has a concussion. We'll see.
15:31I'm kind of surprised that Kyler Murray, I just, we'll see what happens.
15:34I feel like Carson Wentz should play this game, but we'll see if it's Kyler Murray or Carson Wentz.
15:40Either way, I am a little dubious of either, to be honest.
15:43Yeah. You guys think we're, you're still not playing someone like Jordan Addison, despite playing the bears defense.
15:49I think zero points last week. Yeah. He had zero points, but also Carson Wentz came.
15:53I think the bears, the chance that the bears are just a shootout team this year, I would play Jordan Addison.
15:59I'm willing. I mean, it depends on your options, obviously, but I'm not like you have to bench him because there's a
16:06chance that this game is an absolute shootout and the bears can't stop even Carson Wentz.
16:10Um, I mean, do you guys feel, I mean, I just Jefferson, obviously it's, I have, I have a fantasy face blindness for Jordan Addison.
16:17So I'm just not going to start him because I never see him there.
16:22Um, I think there are, there are worse. There's worse process than, than picking the number two on an offense, playing the bears, honestly.
16:28Like I, I think that's somewhat sound. And if you go down that way, I don't think that's super regrettable.
16:34And when sir, Kyler, I yeah, this week in particular, I think it's worth it.
16:39I also want to just note pro football talk at this.
16:42Caleb is one touchdown away from throwing 50 touchdown passes before he throws 15 interceptions, which the only quarterbacks to do that
16:48are to do that are Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson.
16:51Wow. Wow. Yeah. By the way, this is one of those rain games, right?
16:55Chicago weather is supposed to be 75% precipitation on Sunday.
16:58I think everything east of the Mississippi is like, you have to check the weather this week to be honest.
17:04Could get messy. Uh, Steelers at Patriots. That's right.
17:06Speaking of east of the Mississippi, my one stat is not a stat.
17:10It's a question. Okay. And the question is, is the week two wide receiver lineup for new England, the worst set of
17:17wide receivers Drake may has ever had. Oh, interesting.
17:19Cause it was real bad last year. It was, but last year he had Stefan Diggs and Kayshawn Booty.
17:25This year he has, or this week, he has no AJ Brown.
17:28He has no Diggs. He has no booty. That sounds funny.
17:31And, but, but he has Romeo Dobbs. He has Mac Collins, Kyle Williams, and Demario Douglas.
17:36Those are the four receivers that Drake is heading into week two.
17:39Even in college, you had Josh Downs. Seriously. So look, I think where I'm at with this is I would probably like to nominate Romeo Dobbs.
17:47It's like a screaming by low. Oh, I think this is a good call, Craig.
17:51I think he's been good his whole career. And I, I thought he was really reliable in green Bay and is a good player.
17:58And he had a really bad drop on a big third down.
18:02And they cut to him 10 times on the bench because Mike Vrabel paid the broadcast to just show somebody else screwing up, I think.
18:09And so it was, and he, and Romeo Dobbs like devastated.
18:12He was like so upset with himself. He's, he's a very good player.
18:16The Patriots gave him $68 million. Um, so I, I would say that, you know, I don't think Joey Porter's playing in
18:22this game, the cornerback for the Steelers, the Steelers and him are in this weird standoff right now where the Steelers didn't
18:29give him a contract in the off season. And now they have a rule where they won't sign anybody after the season begins.
18:35And now Porter's not on the injured list anymore.
18:38So now they're almost like making Porter look bad because he's kind of deciding not to play because he's, he's not hurt.
18:44So, Well, his back hurts or it was hurting.
18:47It was hurting, but now that's not the case.
18:49Now he's off the injury report. Now he's pulling landscaping duty.
18:53That's right. Um, fingers hurt. So anyway, I, I wanted to nominate Dobbs as a, as an option.
18:58I would also say Travion Henderson is back for running back for new England, who I would be a little bit nervous about starting Henderson.
19:05I think, um, he, he had big pops last year and could like in one people many weeks, but the Patriots could not run the ball last week.
19:13They had the lowest yards per carry in the NFL last week, uh, 2.6 yards per carry.
19:18Um, and the Steelers have a pretty good run D and it looked good.
19:22And I actually thought they did a decent job against B John on the ground.
19:26So I'm a little nervous about, I think this game is going to be more ugly than fun, I guess is my prediction.
19:33Yeah. I can see that as well. I'm jealous of the Dobbs take because you're right that that's one of those, the Dobbs drop.
19:40If it happened in a game at 1 PM, Easter, sorry, I keep, I'm not trying to dig at you guys.
19:46Just like, if it happened in the early slate amid eight other games, it wouldn't be such a huge narrative that Dobbs cost them this game.
19:54It like, as opposed to being the first game of the season.
19:57And we'd be, we'd probably just be like, AJ Brown was hurt.
20:01So Romeo Dobbs is probably going to be playing pretty well, but because he had a, he had a terrible game.
20:07The most obvious answer is the giant, the free agent that they gave a giant contract to who had a bad week.
20:13One will probably be the number one guy for the next five weeks while AJ Brown's out.
20:18A hundred percent. I very much agree with that.
20:21I also think that like Ramondre is not a good as good of a, or is it a Ramondre Stevenson such a better pass protector than Trayvon Henderson.
20:29And I think they're going to need it against Pittsburgh.
20:32So I, I just, and, and, and Travion's coming off this ankle thing.
20:35I feel like it's more likely that Travion has like seven or eight carries in this game than he does like 14.
20:42How are you feeling about this game, Craig with the Steelers?
20:45I mean, I think the Patriots overall as a team are a good sort of bounce back team this week because of
20:51a really crappy week one against a really great defense in Seattle.
20:55How are you feeling about this game in particular?
20:57I think the Steelers have a shot to be honest with you.
21:01I think the Steelers are a pretty good roster.
21:03And I think, um, I do. And I think Rodgers is like, no, that's what my dad says about every game.
21:10He's like, I think they, I think they have a shot.
21:13I'm like, yeah, the spread's like four points. Well, I would say that most people see this, the sticker price of this
21:19game and just looking at Patriots versus Steelers, they would say, oh my God, Patriots are going to win this game.
21:25But I don't know. I just think, I think Rodgers played better than people think last week.
21:30And I think the defensive line is really good.
21:33And I think their defense in general is really good.
21:36And I don't know. I think they beat the Patriots last year.
21:39I think the game will be close. We're going to learn a lot about the Steelers this week.
21:44That's right. One person I want to shout out on the Pittsburgh offense is DK Metcalf, who had a horrible week one.
21:51I asked Craig halfway through the, the game when it was like really close to the Falcons were kind of sticking with them late into the fourth quarter.
21:59I was like, how are the, how are the Steelers not dominating this game?
22:03And Craig just responds, DK Metcalf. 100%. He had like three crucial boneheaded plays, uh, just dimes by Rodgers that he, he dropped.
22:09But I just want to say that I, the Steelers are using DK Metcalf differently this year than they were last year.
22:16Very differently. Last year he was just running down the sideline and now he's doing a lot more over the middle stuff, crossing routes, slants.
22:23They're moving him around more. His air yards per target were way up in week one.
22:28It was like 17 versus 10 last year. So even though he didn't have a great game and I think this week
22:34he might get shadowed by Christian Gonzalez and might not have a good game.
22:38I think DK Metcalf is, is the number one in the Steelers offense.
22:42I just realized something. I just realized something, you know, like it, I, there's a chance and it sounds like a joke,
22:48but I'm serious that the version of, you know, when Cooper cup, I was having breakfast with Matt Stafford every morning and we're like, Oh, whatever.
22:56It's who cares? And then he won the triple round.
22:59Rogers and DK. The chance there's a chance that DK Metcalf saying, I think there's a city underneath Antarctica was actually a
23:05signal that he's the most underrated receiver in fantasy football, because I fear that we actually really underrated the difference between Aaron
23:11Rogers signing with the, the Steelers last year in June.
23:14And like how, and how much Aaron Rogers requires being on the same page to throw anyone the ball versus having like
23:21way more time this year and like doing all that off season work in the second year that there's a chance actually
23:27that relationship, like he's just trust him to be where he needs to be.
23:31And we'll throw in the ball like way more frequently.
23:34Fantasy points. The, the, the strongest R factor or whatever in fantasy points, the strongest correlator for Aaron Rogers fantasy points is
23:40how willing are you to sit down and just listen to him talk about stuff?
23:45How, how long will you sit there and nod when he's talking about civilization under Antarctica?
23:49Yeah. Cause it could really go two ways. Either DK Metcalf is gullible and impressionable.
23:54And it was like that really? Wow. Antarctica underneath Antarctica, or he's a genius.
23:58Yeah. He's like, I'm going to sit down, listen to all this bullshit.
24:01Say, I agree. And I'll be the number one target.
24:04It's like the usual suspects limp turns into a lock thing.
24:08Yeah. That's the DK Metcalf. Shout out my quarterback.
24:10That's not bad. Uh, okay. Uh, Philadelphia Eagles are playing the Tennessee Titans this week.
24:14My one fact for this game, do you guys know how many passing yards Jalen hurts had on first down last week?
24:21Oh, I bet it's great question. How many? Zero, zero.
24:24I couldn't believe it. Uh, that's, that's, I'm telling you, I watch when I, I watched every single snap because of Saquon,
24:30when I have a guy on a team like I, that I spent a lot of money on or picked her, I,
24:36I will watch every goddamn snap like intensely. And I was furious about the Eagles off.
24:41Yeah. I, so this is the most unwatchable game maybe of the year.
24:45So I was gonna say the Eagles Titans is the three and out bowl.
24:49Like these teams, the last year or so have gone three and out as much as any team.
24:54Like they're up there with the Raiders and the Browns for going three and out.
24:58And again, I think what it really comes down to is it's the, the Eagles are going, and that's what it comes down to.
25:05How does the tush push team go three and out like that?
25:09It doesn't make sense, right? It's first down is the Eagles problem because when the Eagles two years ago were there, Saquon's
25:15getting five yards a carry or whatever, then the Eagles are in second and five.
25:20And then you just run again, then you have three plays to get five yards.
25:24But when the Eagles get second and nine, then they run it again and it's third and eight.
25:29And then it, Jalen Hurts just throws up a deep ball on the sideline to Devante Smith.
25:34And then it works two of the, two of the six times and the other ones, they just punt.
25:40And so that's the issue to that point. I couldn't believe this last week, Philadelphia averaged 1.95 yards per play on first
25:46down 1.95, 1.95 yards is five feet, 10 inches.
25:49That's me. That's like, I'm five, 10, you falling down.
25:51If I stood on the line of scrimmage and fell forward, that is how far the Eagles gained on first down last week.
25:58I love that visual. I've just just tipped over.
26:01What's that Simpsons meme? Just through the way. I'm if I'm just, if they just threw me forward, if I did the
26:07tush push and just fell down, that's the Eagles first down.
26:10Dare I say not good enough. Yeah, it's the three and a half thing is funny because that means they couldn't even
26:17get to fourth and one because if you get to fourth and one, wouldn't they just, so it's really like, they only
26:23need eight yards, really not eight, nine yards. And they can't get that even.
26:27Exactly. That's the thing. This is the, the answer is yada, yada, yada offensive line.
26:31And the offensive line is not the same. Landon Dickerson's gone into injured reserve, which I don't even know if I want
26:38to say that's a downgrade because he just was playing hurt.
26:41He was trying to tough it out. He's one of the toughest players in the entire league.
26:46And he just played last week and literally after the game was like, I'm not me.
26:50I have to go to injured reserve. It wasn't like anything happened as much as he doesn't have the juice.
26:56And I don't think, again, I don't think he's been, him and Lane Johnson ran into each other week one last year
27:03and the Eagles haven't been the same since. And I, that is like the issue.
27:07So there's a world the Eagles get better if not playing Landon Dickerson, just because he's not healthy.
27:12But overall, that's what it all comes down to is the Eagles have to figure out how to run the ball.
27:18And if they can't, then they start, got to start doing play action because they were dead last in play action last, uh, last week too.
27:26Like it was like 8%. So they have to just get yards on first down so they can get to the unstoppable
27:32fourth down play, which maybe that's not unstoppable either because of the line anymore, but the Eagles line is not special anymore.
27:39Yep. That's the, uh, the other thing I'd say is I, I actually want to ask you guys, part of me is
27:45like, I want, should we just not rank the Titans this week?
27:48Like we were talking about season long with Kyle Pitts and Marvin Harrison.
27:52Like we put out rankings and part of me, I was looking at them and I'm like, is there any world you're
27:58actually going to play Carnell Tate this week versus the Eagles?
28:02No, unfortunately no. We, we can't not rank them cause it'll look like an error, but we should almost have like, like
28:08a big sign at the top that says no Titans.
28:11I'm looking at it. I'm like, do you have to go somewhere?
28:14But I, I would feel horrible playing them this week.
28:17Like I just feel a disgusting. Yeah. That's how I feel about like Tony Pollard too, or it's just like, he's just
28:24going to run into a brick wall. There's no way half the time.
28:27And then they're, they're splitting, he's playing reps way more with Tajay Spears this year than he was last year.
28:33I don't truly trust his offense to get going.
28:36Um, yeah, it's pretty grim so far, but obviously that's just one week for the Titans.
28:40Maybe Cam Ward will turn it around, but this is a really tough matchup.
28:45Great. The Eagles have a really good defense. It's just, this is going to be a slog.
28:49Well, I'm curious to watch the game and just see if they get more than five foot, 10 inches downfield.
28:55Okay. Uh, Craig, what's the next game for the early slate Packers jets?
28:59Uh, this game's, uh, in New York, in New Jersey.
29:02Uh, my stat is that Geno Smith had the least amount of pressures against him in week one out of any quarterback in the NFL.
29:09Geno Smith was pressured the least six times he was pressured.
29:12He was sacked zero times, which is not something I typically think of when I think of a jets offense or a jets quarterback.
29:19Right. Um, I thought I, I had to start Geno Smith in this game for reasons that I am not proud of,
29:26but so I watched a lot of the jets game and I thought he looked sharp.
29:30Uh, I thought his connection with, with Garrett Wilson was, was legit and they just ran the ball in both times they scored.
29:37So his stats didn't look that good. Uh, Sadiq and, and Brees Hall had touchdowns, but the jets were fourth and explosive pass rate in week one.
29:45And they're playing now green Bay. They're, they're at home.
29:48The Packers let up three touchdowns to Carson Wentz.
29:50I think like my overall thought going into this game is like, obviously you look at this and you're like, I mean,
29:57this spread is not as big as you would expect.
29:59I think the spreads four and a half. Is that still there?
30:03Three and a half. It's three and a half.
30:06The jets are, are only three and a half point underdogs at home against the Packers.
30:10And you would think jets Packers, this should be eight.
30:13And it's because I, I think the Jets might not be terrible.
30:17And it's hard to say that because they just played the Titans.
30:20So it's like, that's why this is a real, we're going to learn a lot about this team in week two, but green Bay was messy, man.
30:28Green Bay could not run the ball. 15% of their yards in week one came from rushing 15% of their total yards
30:34came from rushing, which was their lowest since 2023.
30:37Marshawn Lloyd was very underwhelming. He looked underwhelming. Yeah.
30:39The other thing I want to flag for this game, I know it might rain for this game for the jets Packers game.
30:46And I bring that up for a couple of reasons.
30:49We always joke about it during the combine, but Marshawn Lloyd had small hands and he fumbled a lot in college and
30:55it's games like this where that matters. And so I think the running game, like I'm a little skeptical because they don't have a ton of other options.
31:03Can I also, I want to make a, can I tell you guys something?
31:07Yeah. I think this is the game. The jets get an interception.
31:11I think it's going to happen this week. All right.
31:14I really do. I'm awaited. I am. This is a huge game for the Packers too, because the jets, it would be
31:20so obviously incredible to start to know after they've been such a mess for a long time, but green Bay losing to
31:27the jets would quietly be like a real, I don't know if it's rock bottom because the bears limited in them for
31:33the playoffs, but the jets making you go, oh, and two after the bears limiting for the rock bottom Packers have had
31:39it pretty good for a long time. And this would be really bad, but I don't really believe in the Packers offensive
31:46line or defensive line and Lafleur's decision-making. I mean, I actually don't mind.
31:49Austin wrote a great piece for the ringer this week where he pointed out Lafleur going for it on fourth down.
31:56He took the field goal off the board and went for it.
31:59It's kind of a big sense. You'll get more points that way than not.
32:03The problem is the play sucked. And I just, I don't, I just don't believe in green Bay.
32:08I don't think they have a lot of blue chip talent.
32:11There's no like elite guys really anywhere on this roster.
32:14And that bothers me a lot. The, yeah, the Packers offensive line, I think is also, I mean, it's tough because Minnesota blitzed like 80% of the game.
32:22I was really unimpressed with green Bay's offensive line.
32:25Like they were getting blown up. He was pressured.
32:28Jordan Love was pressured 25 times. He was hit 15 times in this game.
32:32Um, so I'm a little nervous. Maybe this will be a classic, like it's the Packers.
32:36They win 10 games every year. Jordan love Matt Lafleur doing overthink it and they're playing the jets, but I'm a little more interested in this match.
32:44It would be, it would be nice to see a Packers get right game where they just beat the jets, but they,
32:51they have a talent deficit in the trenches, arguably on both sides of the, both jets lines are probably better than both Packers lines by a good bit.
32:59And that usually decides games as long as, I mean, it depends if Gino turns the ball over.
33:04Do you think Caleb Johnson is, is a hold in any way in fantasy on the Packers or no?
33:09It depends on your league size. I kind of think I do.
33:13The fact that Marshawn Lloyd before last week had played, had gotten how many touches in two years, like nine, but yeah, like nine or barely plays.
33:21That's not the kind of, he's been injured all over.
33:24I think Caleb Johnson, he was a good kick returner.
33:26He could eventually get snaps. It depends because I think even if you end up, if I end up being right and
33:33I think Caleb Johnson gets the job eventually, I kind of don't think green Bay is going to be able to run the ball.
33:40Anyway, we'll see what happens with Josh Jacobs. Who knows what's happening there, but I think by the time Caleb comes back,
33:46he'll probably start for two weeks, not get 80 yards and then like be back behind Josh Jacobs.
33:51So I kind of think the Packers aren't going to be able to run the ball anyway.
33:56Yeah. To, uh, to circle around what Craig, what Craig initially started with very encouraged from what Gino Smith did.
34:02In week one. And I, I can't wait to see if he can keep this up, like having a decent offensive line,
34:08decent to good offensive line, a few good weapons in the, in the passing game, a decent run game with, uh, Brees Hall and Braylon Allen.
34:16Um, he completed 80, almost 80% of his passes and he was, uh, eighth in EPA per drop back in week one.
34:22Obviously a lot of variables here, but it was, it was a very sharp start for him.
34:27Yeah. Um, the next game is the, the Cleveland Browns are at Tampa Bay.
34:31And I don't know if this is a fact as much as I would like to suggest a cosmic note to this game.
34:38Okay. The Browns ditched Baker Mayfield, the number one pick for them.
34:41The Browns ditched Baker Mayfield to get to Sean Watson.
34:44And now this week, Baker Mayfield is probably going to beat the Browns so that they benched to Sean Watson probably forever.
34:51Wow. Yeah. Baker will prop Baker will literally after being kicked out of Cleveland for to Sean, Baker has a very good
34:57chance to end to Sean Watson's tenure in Cleveland this week.
35:00Well, I mean, come on. It's, it's like unfair.
35:03The expectations are so high for to Sean. Like they're expecting him to throw for 400 yards and five touchdowns every week.
35:09Like that's ridiculous. That dude, that quote. So to Sean, can you, Sean actually said that this week for people who did
35:16not know, he was like, the media wants me to throw for 400 yards and five touchdowns every week.
35:21The media has this expectation that I'm supposed to throw for 400 yards and five.
35:25It's like, you know what? You're the only quarterback ever who got a fully guaranteed contract and they give you 200 plus million dollars guaranteed.
35:33Yeah. They traded for you for like three first round.
35:36So yeah, on that note, I looked into it.
35:38How about 400 yards every two games? That'd be, that'd be nice.
35:42So I, this was also my other stat here.
35:44Cause I couldn't believe that quote. I thought it was the most, I did.
35:48Sean Watson might be the most disconnected person from reality in the entire NFL and including Aaron Rodgers, but to Sean Watson, forget a single game.
35:56To Sean Watson is not thrown for five touchdowns in a calendar month in four and a half years.
36:01Damn. Really? Yes. Brutal. Really? It was amazingly, it was with the Browns when he first came back, but that was like
36:08the 2022 was the end of the 20, like 2022 is a long time ago.
36:12He might have that three and a half years.
36:15You probably won't. But again, the big dish between everything to Sean Watson said about the fan basically saying, I'd rather be
36:21on the road than home this season. I think they're going to play him.
36:25And honestly, I actually believe the conspiracy. I kind of wonder if I, I don't know.
36:30I just, I think the Browns want him gone.
36:32And I think should do or they want to come to the home games as like, uh, look, we got rid of the Sean.
36:39Should or I just pray that he's going to play well.
36:42We don't have to belabor this game. I think it's wheels up for Tampa.
36:46They're there. They lost a close game in week one.
36:49They're going to be motivated. The Browns Baker thing is extra motivation.
36:53I think the bucks are going to be, they're at home.
36:56I think they're going to dominate great defense to start in fantasy.
36:59There is a, yeah, I agree. The last thing I'll say, there's a chance.
37:04Let's say to Sean loses and that they he's benched the rest of the season.
37:08There's a chance. If that happens, to Sean will have made 140, one for $140 million the last three years and have delivered one win.
37:15But the media, okay. This episode is brought to you by whole foods market.

38:01Shop at macy's.com. Okay. Next game here, DK. Carolina Panthers versus Atlanta Falcons.
38:05My one stat comes from fantasy points. It's B.
38:07John Robinson had 54% of the team. The team's overall expected fantasy points in week one.
38:12Yeah. He was the offense in week one. Literally.
38:15Like it was a run to B. John or a pass to B.
38:18John against this. Right. And they kind of had 10 targets in the passing game.
38:23Yeah. Um, he had like a 60, 67% or 70% of the team's expected fantasy points as in passing.
38:28So that is kind of wild. Obviously there's a huge variable here and who is going to be the starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons.
38:36And that is it's between Cooper rush and Michael panics who came back to practice this week.
38:40He has been getting some reps with the first team.
38:43So I think there is a quite a bit of uncertainty whether panics is healthy enough to play this week or if
38:50they're going to kind of wait again. But I mean, the B.
38:53John thing, the usage for B. John is, is about as good as it possibly can get.
38:58And that is really exciting because we, you know, we talked about this before the season.
39:03Like, why do we have B. John rank so high when he's on a terrible offense with a bad quarterback?
39:09That's why that's why 54% of the team's expected fantasy points.
39:12Um, and he, I mean, honestly, he looked awesome and you know, he made some incredible plays.
39:17I don't think you can expect him to get that type of volume every single week, but this is the answer to
39:23the question of why did we have B. John rank second?
39:26He's the outlier. Yeah. He's the exception that proves the rule.
39:29Typically you don't want that. Sure. Um, watching B.
39:32John, this is maybe irresponsible watching B. John. I was kind of wondering if B.
39:36John in the open field is the best running back I've seen since Adrian Peterson.
39:41Like just the way he moves and I love Jimmy Gibbs.
39:44There's Saquon, there's Christian McCaffrey, but watching B. John last week, I was like, I can't believe how good he is with the ball in his hands.
39:52It is unbelievable. Honestly, you know, that Rams game and Monday night football last week, 17 B.
39:57John is somehow underrated because the Falcons suck. Yeah.
39:59But it's like, if he's on a better team, he should be the most famous player in the NFL.
40:05I agree. It's a bummer that he's probably not going to be a good team for a couple more years.
40:10Uh, this could be, this could be a weird, weirdly good fantasy game for, for both teams.
40:15Like you wouldn't expect the, the Panthers and Falcons to be like a good fantasy game, but like B.
40:21John, obviously with the Falcons, I don't know, you know what we're going to expect if anything from London or pits on
40:27that side of the football, but like the Panthers offense was a lot better than I expected last week against a bad bears defense.
40:34And I think they could have some success again in this game too.
40:38Fantasy wise B. John, obviously you're playing, do you play any other Falcons?
40:42I don't think you can play Kyle pits. He did not have a catch.
40:46No, I wouldn't. I probably would not play pits and I would begrudgingly play London because I think it's a lot of.
40:52So Penn, Michael Penix jr. is now taking, splitting reps at first team with Cooper rush and two is hurt, not even playing anymore.
40:59And that's a weird situation. So it's like either Michael Penix sailing into this game, which makes no sense to me after
41:05barely practicing, he's going to come in and take live reps because the Falcons next week play Thursday night.
41:11So he's going to like miss two games if he misses this game.
41:15But also Michael Penix playing with no reps makes no sense to me, but there's a chance Cooper rush comes in and plays this game in the next.
41:23And I'm like, I don't even, are you serious?
41:25Are you playing Drake London with Cooper rush? Cause I'm a little scared.
41:29I mean, obviously it's nerve wracking, but I probably would.
41:32This is a Panthers team that just gave up 59 points.
41:35So, um, even I know it's a very different offense, but I do think there's a big difference between the Steelers, um, Steelers defense and the Panthers defense.
41:43Yeah. Fair enough. Pits though. I would not play if I had to give one brief mini stat on the Panther side of things.
41:50Uh, this came from Ian Harditz that the last seven games that Jalen Coker and Ted Mcmillan have played together.
41:56Oh yeah. Coker has 12 more catches at 150 more yards.
41:59Yeah. I mean, he's the de facto number one in this offense, which is, he has an ankle injury, but he's like,
42:06he's, they expect him to play this week. Yeah.
42:08So I think you kind of got to play him if he's the Parker Washington of Carolina.
42:13Yeah. Totally. The other thing is also, you know, he's also just hasn't played a bad game and longer than you think Bryce young.
42:20Like it's weird because Bryce young against certain, like the Niners money in a football game last year was looked like a middle schooler.
42:27And then it's like, but the flip side is the Panthers really should have beat the Rams twice last year.
42:33They beat him in the regular season and really should have beat the Rams in the playoffs.
42:38And then we just like completely dismissed that performance.
42:40Yeah. But Bryce young played well. I thought he played okay last week.
42:44And so I'm curious, but Atlanta is also like a toothless pass rush because they, James Pierce, Jr.
42:49Suspended Jalen Walker's out for the season. They lost another defensive tackle this week.
42:53Like that was already a weak defensive line. That's kind of down three, their best five guys already.
42:59I it's yeah. I kind of think Bryce is viable.
43:02DK, look me in the eye right now. Who are you starting with Jalen Waddle or Jalen Coker?
43:07Oh, not even Coker. How I think a better question even really have to think about that.
43:12How long will it take Jalen Waddle to get as many points this season as Jalen Coker did in week one?
43:18Oh God. Things are, things are bad with my Waddle bags.
43:21Do you think Jalen Waddle, Jalen Coker had how many points week one?
43:2535. How many weeks will it take Jalen Waddle to get 35 total points this season?
43:29Seven. I like that. Yeah, probably not really. But, uh, okay.
43:33Next, uh, next game here, Craig. All right. We have the Saints are at Baltimore.
43:37My one stat is that the Ravens had the most plays of 10 or more yards last week and the Saints gave
43:43up the third most plays of 10 or more yards this week.
43:47So I am declaring this game, the Mario Kart rainbow strip game of the week.
43:51Start them all. Um, so you're starting Vele, you're starting ETN, obviously a Lave.
43:55I think you can start Juwan Johnson. I think on the Raven side of things, I think there is a chance that
44:01Derrick Henry is like 290 yards and four touchdowns in this game.
44:05He might get 40 carries. It doesn't know Jacoby lane for Baltimore.
44:08I don't know if there's going to be Zay Flowers.
44:11So it's Rashad Bateman. It's Eli Surratt and it's Mark Andrews.
44:14And that's it. Jameer Gibbs last week versus, uh, the Saints had 150 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries.
44:20Um, that everyone associated with this game, I would like to have on my team.
44:25I mean, it's not looking like Zay is going to play.
44:28He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday. So highly doubt he'll play.
44:32I love this one. This is gonna be a fun game.
44:35I want to see how Shuck starts in this game.
44:38Cause this is a, this is a, the Baltimore defense is one of those defenses that can really confound quarterbacks.
44:43Um, so I'm just gonna, I'm very interested to see if he looks more like he did in the second half or
44:50in the first half of last week. I went back and watched Shuck second half and he was dealing, man.
44:56He was making a lot of high level throws like on the move, stepping up in the pocket, dropping the ball in
45:02a bucket as Brady likes to say, dropping it like a butterfly with sore legs.
45:06Everybody knows what that means right off. That just, that's just a phrase you just automatically understand.
45:11I, that's one of those performances where do you feel like what, what is the ratio to you of Tyler Shuck is
45:18really good or, and the, the lion's secondary is horrendous.
45:20Cause the lions to me are the other like rainbow strip team that the defense has been bad for years, but right now it is really bad.
45:28I think Shuck is solid. Like I, I think the last half of last year we saw it and I think he's underrated.
45:35And I think it's because he's like 42 years old and he was hurt every year in college.
45:40And he was Justin Herbert's backup 10 years ago at Oregon.
45:43And nobody wants to give him credit. And I think if the first overall pick was doing this, we would think he was great.
45:50If Cam Ward was doing this, we would think he was great.
45:54Anthony Weaver. He's probably, this is like classic kind of like respect.
45:57Yes. But Anthony Weaver, the defensive coordinator for, um, um, why am I blanking for the saints for the saints?
46:03Sorry. No, sorry for, for the Ravens, for the Ravens.
46:06Thank you said that Tyler Shuck reminds him of a poor man's Josh Allen.
46:10Of course, which is like, not right. Pick the Superman guy.
46:13Yeah. That's just, that's a good thing. Maybe coaches should start doing.
46:17Cause obviously Belichick was always good about complimenting the opposition and not wanting to give them any motivation and flattering them.
46:23It'd be funny to actually just going crazier and crazier every single week.
46:26Like, yeah, like you, the Niners are playing the dolphins this week and Kyle Shanahan's like, Caleb Douglas reminds me a lot
46:33of when I was with Julio Jones. He's like, Caleb Douglas gives me like prime Michael Jordan.
46:38Do you think that? Do you think if you're Tyler Shuck, this is annoying or you're actually flattered?
46:43I think that's, I think it's flattering. I don't think it's annoying.
46:46I think I would be, I think I would be like, okay, now I know you're lying.
46:51Poor man Josh Allen. Come on. Now I know you're lying through your teeth.
46:55Shucks like how poor? Yeah. Okay. Late games. DK.
46:58All right. We got Jags at Broncos. This is a really fun game.
47:02Can't wait to watch this one. The Jags obviously cleaned up last week against the Browns.
47:06Now they face a very good defense in the Broncos are favored by two and a half.
47:11Broncos are favored in, in Denver. Here's my stat.
47:14In the last eight games, which includes one playoff game, Trevor Lawrence has thrown 22 touchdowns to three picks.
47:19He is actually, he's on an absolute heater in his last eight games.
47:23In that stretch, he has a 115 pass rating.
47:26His EPA per drop back would have been best in the NFL over the full season last year.
47:31Uh, is an incredible 31% success rate, which was third, which would have been third last year, uh, and a 18% explosive play rate.
47:38So he is dealing, um, and the, the Jags are seven to one in that stretch, by the way, the only game
47:44they lost was the wildcard game against the bills last year.
47:48Um, they're averaging 33 points a game, 350 yards per game in that stretch and have 31 touchdowns in eight games.
47:54So this is, this is the hot, one of the hottest offenses in the NFL, if not the hottest, I mean, obviously
48:00the bears, what they did last week was pretty damn impressive, but the, the, the Jags are kind of right there in
48:06terms of what they're doing on offense, just buzzsaw offense right now.
48:10And I can't wait to see how they, they play against a really good defense in the, in Denver.
48:15Can I steal, you know how Craig just said that if Cam Ward was doing what Tyler Shuck was doing, we'd be freaking out.
48:22Yeah. If Justin Herbert had done what Trevor Lawrence has done since Thanksgiving, there would be no semen left in any of our bodies.
48:29That's correct. That's exactly right. Oh my God. It is like, how long semen left.
48:34How long does Trevor Lawrence need to play like this till he gets a fraction of the respect that Justin Herbert, like
48:40we kind of thrust upon him without having done this yet.
48:43Has Lawrence somehow, somehow become underrated now after being overrated?
48:46It was the Browns. Their defense sucks, but he's been unbelievable for like, oh, like so many, so many games in a row.
48:53Well, and it's funny because it's not like he's Tyler Shuck where it was like, oh, he's a second round pick.
48:59He, nobody really knew him. It's like, this is the first overall pick in the draft.
49:03Who was a very famous college athlete. Yeah. I think it's Jacksonville.
49:07I think it's the Jags as a team. And like, yes, they are probably the, I apologize to Jags fans.
49:13They are like the least famous football team in the NFL.
49:16I would say. Yeah. I mean, I have it on incredibly good authority that the, before COVID the NFL wanted to have Jaguars move to London.
49:23Yeah. Like they wanted to have them do four and four in London.
49:27That is the state of the Jaguars. I don't think it's weird.
49:31Like, unfortunately, the bar is higher for things that Jacksonville has to do to make a splash nationally.
49:36I, I mean, the last time the Jags played the Broncos, they smacked them in Denver.
49:40And that's when Denver was playing really well. And people were like, this team could win the Superbowl and Trevor Lawrence had
49:47280 yards, three touchdowns and ran in a fourth touchdown.
49:50And then the Broncos played like shit. And they're like, they're underdogs again.
49:53How does that make sense? I do, I do agree with everything you guys are saying.
49:58I think this is a, this is a fact, this is the Jags and people just kind of doubt that the Jags are actually good.
50:05I think Liam Cohen paired with Trevor Lawrence is one of the best quarterback play caller combos in the NFL right now.
50:12Like they are up there with basically, I mean, in terms of, especially the last eight games, but like since Cohen got
50:18there, you could put them up against some of the best offenses in the NFL.
50:22And when the way that they design game, the game plans, um, the way that they structure or sequence the plays and
50:29just like the efficiency that they operate with the points they're scoring.
50:32Like it's, it's actually pretty crazy. And we just haven't, I don't know if we've really caught on yet that this could
50:39be a Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams type of type of marriage between these guys.
50:43It's funny to me too, because the Jags and Broncos of all the teams in the NFL, did any teams change from
50:49last season less than the Jags and Broncos? The Jags lost Travis H.
50:53Yeah. I get that. But like the Broncos did very little.
50:56They, they added Jalen Waddle, but they like make very literal moves.
50:59They're treating him like Marvin Nims because they didn't want to change anything.
51:03They added, they traded for him and then they didn't make him a part of the game plan.
51:08Yeah. I just, I don't know. It's, it is funny to me.
51:12Thanks. Heifetz, you mentioned like things don't change. These are two teams that didn't change a lot.
51:17Did you see how they use Travis Hunter on offense in week one?
51:21Just, oh no, they didn't even go, the passes from, they didn't even go by on the line of, beyond the line of scrimmage, right?
51:28Every route was just like We call them expensive Wandale Robinson.
51:31Like, come on. If you're going to play him on offense, actually play him on offense.
51:36Don't do this stupid shit. That's just, that's just one thing I have that sticks in my craw, but yeah.
51:41I'm looking on FanDuel right now. What does Jalen Waddle's over under have to be for receiving yards for you to take the over?
51:48I'm not going to tell you what it is, but what would the number need to be for you to confidently take it over?
51:55For me, bet a lot of money? 26. If you put a hundred bucks on the over for Jalen Waddle, what would the number have to be?
52:0314. I would say like 26. For you to feel like you have a 50-50 shot, that's the point of setting it up.
52:1036. What is it? It's 52 and a half.
52:12Oh God. Should we just bet the Jalen Waddle under until it hits?
52:16We should. Every week. Because then we can celebrate, I mean, we can celebrate either way, really.
52:21Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So he has 61 with no touchdowns and then we just play in these.
52:26Well, it's better than that way. We can three.
52:29Somehow he can hurt us more. We actually should do that.
52:32Let's do the, yeah, the Jalen Waddle under the week.
52:35We should just do that every week. All season.
52:37We should, we parlay him and Kyle Pitts to both go under every week until we lose.
52:42Honestly, people are, people are going to really start hating Pat Bryant because of the implication it has for Jalen Waddle.
52:48So Pat Bryant, totally innocent in this. Like Pat Bryant might be an awesome player.
52:53Every time he catches a pass, we'd be like, God, fucking damn it.
52:56So Pat Bryant's good. Third round pick. The comparisons, you know, the way Tyler Shuck is to Josh Allen, Pat Bryant's to Michael Thomas.
53:03That's Sean Payton, basically. Every fucking receiver on the Broncos is compared to Michael Thomas.
53:08It's annoying. I think the real answer for Pat Bryant's usage is they get him the ball on the first series, three
53:14times because they want teams to respect when he goes in motion and he's like really a weapon as a blocker.
53:20But Sean Payton wants to establish, if you don't respect it, we will throw him the ball so that he then draws
53:26to, it's like, it's like a bad three point shooter hitting a three early in the game.
53:31And you don't actually want them to shoot another three, but you do want them to be covered at the three point line.
53:38I think that's kind of what they do with Pat Bryant in these games.
53:42Anyway, no one gives a shit. You know what?
53:45Okay. Hold on. One more annoying thing about the Broncos.
53:48You know, it's annoying. Yeah. What? Every single wide receiver on the Broncos, their number is between 10 and 19.
53:53So it's all, you don't know what's going on.
53:56Every time they, I'm like, is that Jalen Waddle?
53:59And it's never is. It's, oh, that's Troy Franklin.
54:01Oh, that's Cortland side. He's 13. Oh, he's 15.
54:04No, he's 19. It's so true. It's ridiculous. Even the tight ends.
54:07Number one, like that feels like a Oh, we didn't even mention the resurrection of Evan Ingram, who all thought we had
54:14thought had ascended to another plane with the ancestors.
54:16It's remarkable what you can accomplish when you just shoot Jalen Waddle down the sideline.
54:21He's doing wind sprints. It opens everything up. Yeah.
54:23All right. Next game here. Commanders at the Cowboys.
54:26My one way. So to be clear, I'm benching Jalen Waddle in every league, right?
54:30We're not joking. If you have jail, I'm not playing in that guy until he gets a good game.
54:36I mean, yeah. On the leagues that I actually can't bench him.
54:39Yes. Okay. Um, I have him in my, my, my high school league, my longstanding high school league.
54:44I, for me to bench him, I'd have to start.
54:47No, I got to play him. Cause Nico Collins is out.
54:50I'd have to play like, I'd have to play like RJ Harvey or Jake Ferguson over him.
54:55Ooh, play RJ Harvey. He will outscore him. He will.
54:58We should move him down. Like he will. You're right.
55:01We like, Oh no, you got to write. It's like, but then we get the brain and we're like, Oh, we didn't RJ.
55:08Yeah. He's dealing with a hamstring injury. He's hurt.
55:10You'll still score more. The, like I, I have waddle in the ringer league and I'm, I kind of want to man.
55:17I, I'm, do I bench him for like Jaden Reed in the rain?
55:21Oh God, the worst possible. He's going to score more.
55:23Matthew golden in the rain. That just gave me the ick dude.
55:27God damn it. Okay. All right. Next game commanders at Cowboys.
55:30My one stat is that the Dallas defense was the only defense that didn't, that didn't allow us three and out last week.
55:37Hell yeah, man. That's just the, don't think about it.
55:40It's just how good the giants are. The giants are an unstoppable machine.
55:43Nothing they could have done. Cowboys were also the only team in week one that allowed a first down or touchdown on every single opponent possession.
55:51They allowed a 79% completion rate and 10% touchdown rate, 24th and pressure rate.
55:55It was an absolute mess. This is a mini shootout week.
55:58I think, I don't think the commanders looked very good last week against Philly, but I do Philly's defense is one of the best in the league.
56:06I expect like I would be playing Terry McLaurin this week.
56:09Um, I think you can play Stefan digs this week.
56:12I, I, I would like to expect a bounce back from Dallas as well.
56:16Uh, you know, the commanders made the Eagles explosive plays look like the bears.
56:20The Eagles had five plays of 20 or more yards last week against Philly.
56:24So, um, I like, I like everybody in this game.
56:27I even think the one person I would like to highlight is the rookie Antonio Williams who did not play very much.
56:33He only, he played like 30% of the snaps and he only had four targets, but he caught all four targets and
56:40he had 64 yards and a touchdown. I thought that guy jumped off the screen to me and I thought he looked good and he looked legit.
56:48And I think he's, he's a real player. I totally agree with you, Craig.
56:52He exact, pretty much exact same analysis. He just jumped off the screen.
56:55He just moves a little bit different than everybody else on this.
56:59He, he gives off Amon Ra vibes a lot.
57:02I think it's, he's the same number I want to say as Amon Ra 14.
57:06Um, and I don't know. He just kind of has that, that je ne sais quoi or whatever.
57:11It just makes him, he just looks like he's going to be a real player.
57:15And I think they need to, I think they played him like 30% of the time or something like that.
57:21They need to actually get him in and involved in the offense.
57:25It's not like they're don't have, it's not like they have a plethora of weapons right now.
57:30Um, I think Chig is hurt or he he's been injured.
57:33He might not play. Um, so yeah, he's going to be a bigger part of the game plan.
57:38We did not talk about Antonio Williams enough on the waiver show.
57:41We are, he's a, he's a really good ad ahead of the week versus.
57:46He's a stash, but yes, I, I, if you feel like you move Nico Collins to out, right.
57:51And you get maybe on sleeper app or like some apps, you can get an extra bench spot for, you can just
57:57kind of add in Tony Williams before the game.
58:00And then just, if he goes off, you have them already.
58:03I would highly recommend that if your league allows you to move, if you just have a bench spot, like I would
58:09wreck, if you have a player that's, yeah. Do you guys have leagues like that?
58:14I feel like I actually have a ton of leagues now that you can put guys who are out to IR.
58:20Yeah. And I, in that situation, I would, I would just add in Tony Williams and see what happens this week.
58:26Yeah. It's like beat the rush for, for waiver wire or whatever next week.
58:30Um, he, he's the guy who made a bunch of plays in preseason.
58:34There was one highlight making the rounds where he caught like a, you know, back shoulder pass and like didn't raise his hands until the very last second.
58:42So the defender didn't know the ball was coming.
58:44It was just like, man, which is the whole thing.
58:47This guy's got it next. The next game here, DK Seahawks at Cardinals Seahawks are favored in this one by four and a half.
58:54Um, this is interesting. Drew Locke is going to be starting.
58:57Um, and it, I think he's going to have to do the, he's going to have to be a game manager essentially to win this game.
59:05And here's my stat. And it's basically comes down to the Seahawks defense is good.
59:09I'm, I'm breaking news here, guys. The Seahawks defense is good.
59:12Since the start of last year, including playoffs Seahawks are giving up the fewest points per game of any team in the NFL.
59:19And they have the second most, sorry, they have the second most take takeaways.
59:23They have the third best opponent pass rating, second best stats, uh, second best in sacks, second best in quarterback hits.
59:29And they're doing all that with the fifth lowest blitz rate.
59:32So they're, they're dominating all the most important stats and they're not blitzing to do it, which I think it's just such
59:39a fascinating thing in today's NFL where blitzing and kind of exotic stuff is, is the deal.
59:44This is the Seahawks are exotic in a different way.
59:47Um, and basically what they do is they confuse the hell out of a quarterback because the quarterback never knows who's coming on a pass rush.
59:54And even though they have like, usually it's like four guys that will rush the passer.
59:59You just never know which four it's going to be.
60:02DK. This is an interesting game because I'm kind of fascinated by Arizona.
60:05The spread is the spread in this game. Seahawks are only favored by four and a half points.
60:11Yeah. A week ago, the chargers were favored by like nine points over the same team.
60:15Yeah. And so now the Seahawks are favored by half that.
60:18Is this in your opinion, more the Cardinals are better than we think.
60:22And Vegas is respecting them or more. Drew Locke is a big question mark and a big worry.
60:27Um, I think it's a little both not to sit on the fence.
60:31I think, I think people earn some respect for, for Arizona.
60:34I think their offense has always been a type of offense that can put up points and the defense look great against the chargers in week one.
60:42And I think, I think that earned them some respect.
60:45And then of course, Drew Locke is a backup.
60:48you know, how many points is Drew Locke were like, how, how many points would be going to Darnold from Drew Locke?
60:54Do you like three or four? How, what would you think the line would be if Darnold was starting?
60:59Over a touchdown. Probably seven and a half. Yeah.
61:02It would be over a touchdown. I'm just surprised.
61:05Like you just look at this game and you're like, see the Superbowl champion Seattle Seahawks are only getting four and a
61:11half points or only laying four and a half points versus the fucking Cardinals.
61:15I guess it's in Arizona, but like that, that really surprised me.
61:19But yeah. Yeah. I think the, I, my gut is eight and a half because the bucks Brown, uh, bucks Browns is eight and a half.
61:26And I think for like six and a half, everyone would just take the Seahawks.
61:30I think it's seven and a half is the minimum.
61:33Yeah. Because Darnold was there. Seahawks have won 10 of their last 11 games against the Cardinals.
61:38But I mean, that's, yeah. I mean, that's why Jonathan getting got fired is he didn't really win any games in the division in three years.
61:46do we, but I will, the answer being Drew Locke, and the Cardinals.
61:50That's what you get for asking DK a question.
61:52You know, what DK hits questions, right? Yeah. The answer is always both.
61:56It's like my mom. Well, neither doesn't want to answer the question.
61:59You know, do you think we're not starting Michael Wilson or Marvin Harrison jr.
62:03In this game? I, is it only Trey McBride and Jeremiah love?
62:07It's just Trey McBride. And even Jeremiah love is like, dude, the Seahawks run defense.
62:11I, you probably can start Jeremiah love because he will be the starting running back.
62:16But I'm like, dude, if they're rotating Jeremiah love and he gets 12 touches versus the Seahawks, defense, it's a chance that's 35 yards.
62:23And it's like, he kind of needs a touchdown.
62:25You can play him, but I, you, I do not think you should play Marvin Harrison jr.
62:30Michael Wilson. Like, like I, I not know. Yeah.
62:33Don't do that. Yeah. Did you guys know that Michael floor became the first Cardinals head coach since 1973, which is 14
62:39head coaches before him to win the first game in his coaching debut with the Cardinals.
62:44That's wild. That the Cardinals are quietly such a horrible organization.
62:47Like I, yeah, my, like they're so poorly run.
62:49I, the, cause I told you, I, there, the Cardinals have never had an NFL head coach last for six seasons, which
62:56doesn't sound that remarkable until you remember that the Cardinals are the oldest NFL team.
63:00They've been around for over a hundred years, which is weird.
63:03Cause they don't feel that way. They don't feel like a Chicago bears.
63:07Well, they're not, they were the Chicago bears. They were the Chicago Cardinals and the bears with the Decatur Staley's.
63:13Decatur state in 1920. Like literally the Cardinals are like 106 years old.
63:17They like were playing the rock Island independence, the Chicago Cardinals.
63:20And then they moved. And I like, they've never had in 106 years, never had one coach last six years.
63:26Do you know how hard that is? That means you're doing terribly.
63:29That's that's yeah. Anyway, uh, next game here, late slate.
63:32Uh, we have the Raiders playing the chargers and my stat for this game is to a tongue of Iloa.
63:38His first game with Mike McDaniel, he threw for 270 yards.
63:41He was one touchdown. He was sacked three times and they put up 20 points.
63:45His second game with Mike McDaniel, he had 470 yards, six touchdowns, and they scored 42 points.
63:50Tyree kill and Jalen Waddle combined for 360 yards and two touchdowns.
63:54And my question for you two is, is this the most obvious bylo for the Los Angeles chargers and Mike McDaniels complicated,
64:00but obviously very effective and proven offense. And we should be buying O'Mary and Hampton and all these motherfuckers on LA, even if Vlad McConkie doesn't play.
64:08Objectively and logically, of course. Yes. Emotionally, it's tough.
64:10It's just like being let down time and time again.
64:13But yes, I think absolutely is logically a great bounce back opportunity for them.
64:17And very likely, this is going to be a team that's offense is much better than what we saw last week.
64:24What say you? I think you're right. We're also too in deep to say anything else, but I think, you know, it's funny.
64:30We don't really do trade advice after week one, because in our experience, nobody wants to trade after week one, no matter how bad your team is.
64:38Like, no one was weird. It'll be better next week.
64:41Yeah. No one wants to give up on anyone.
64:43Part of me does wonder if the chargers and bears are just like Colson, Loveland, Luther burden, lad McConkie, her Marion Hampton,
64:50if all these guys are like, if you could, I mean, you're probably not swinging a trade between now and Sunday, but
64:56part of me does wonder that Craig, because people are probably nervous, but it also just comes down to, do you think Jim Harbaugh is a good coach?
65:04And I do. And good coaches can correct things like what happened to the chargers in week one.
65:10It's the ability to adjust. And maybe Jim Harbaugh has lost a step, but I do kind of believe in the chargers ability to pivot.
65:17Now, do the chargers have Adam Gase on their staff?
65:20They do. That really concerns me. Yeah. Mike McDaniel and Adam Gase.
65:23And you know, I'm a little nervous, but I can't tell you how desperately my, my heart needs what you're talking about.
65:30Correct. I need a chargers to run up and down on the Raiders.
65:33I mean, imagine the chargers lose this game. The Raiders are two and oh, and the chargers are.
65:38I found Adam Gase on the chargers team website.
65:41Like somebody finding a, like a chopped finger in their chili bowl.
65:45I was like, holy, wait a minute. Jump scare.
65:47What's in there? Sam Monson, Sam Monson posted it this morning.
65:50And I was thinking of Adam Levitton. I think it established the run.
65:54Does this have just like all the people that you think are the really horrific coaches in the NFL and GMs tracking what teams they look for.
66:02Yeah. And always keeping track of that. It's like, it's we lose track of them too easily.
66:07I love the, I love the stat about like, like almost every Steelers offensive coordinator after they left the Steelers, like never got a job again.
66:14It's honestly, the truth is if my Tomlin, Matt Canada, that guy, if my Tomlin wasn't so lovable and a great guy
66:21and beloved, that would kind of be the defining part of the end of his tenure is nobody hired ever worked again.
66:27Like look at Todd Bowles, everybody. Todd Bowles hires to run the Bucks offense gets a head coaching job and everyone.
66:33Mike Tomlin hired never worked yet to your point.
66:36Doesn't even work in the NFL again. Concerning Matt Canada hasn't had a job since 2023.
66:40He's not like coaching college. He doesn't have a job.
66:43It's, it's not, it's not ideal. Todd Haley was the offensive coordinator for the Steelers for half a decade.
66:49He went one year to the Browns after that gone, been out of the, he's coaching high school.
66:54Yeah. Arthur Smith went to Ohio state where I'm always like, it always, I don't know.
66:59I'm always like when I see Matt, Patricia succeeds with the Ohio state defense and I'm like, yes, they are playing well.
67:05You also, how many players are first round picks?
67:08Yeah. Right. You know, next game here. There's, I think the other, so there's five games in the late slate, which I
67:14actually think we, interesting, but we always say we want this and I'm curious how it goes.
67:19I want four so I can fill the quad box perfectly, but I, I, it is nice to have it's, it's, this
67:25is the right answer though, is I think that there's eight games at, on the early slate.
67:30So it's like you have eight and then you have five, which is probably the right number when there's no bi-weeks.
67:36Yes. And maybe five is nice because then if there's one stinker, you can kick it out of the box.
67:42Yeah. All right. So the next, the last one here, is this going to be the stinker?
67:47Probably dolphins are at the 49ers. And again, the Niners came back from Australia, but it's been, but they gave them the
67:53dolphins as a, the consolation for not giving them, because the Rams got Monday night football coming back from Australia.
67:59The nine shouldn't have left. They should have been like, Hey NFL, we're not leaving.
68:03You guys fly to us. Make the dolphins come here.
68:06We're having a good time. We're not fucking leave it.
68:09They're not leaving. My one stat for dolphins, 49ers is the 49ers success rate last week, which is just context adjusted yards.
68:16Two yards and 31 is better than two yards and first and 10.
68:19The Niners success rate last week was the third best in the NFL.
68:23And the dolphins were dead last against the Rams too, which yeah, exactly.
68:27And you probably, you don't need to be tough.
68:30The line of this game is 13 and a half points.
68:33I don't think we have to belabor it. Like I, the Niners are probably going to wax them.
68:38And if they don't, we'll blame it on Australia.
68:41You don't. Yeah. I don't have anything novel to say.
68:43I don't know. All I'm saying is the jet lag thing is real.
68:47They were in Australia for a week. A lot of guys are hurt.
68:51A letdown game. Yeah. They just lost Tonjes. They just lost.
68:54Tonjes. That's that like, that's a huge deal. Well, I mean, George Kittle is still probably on a snap count.
69:00It's not nothing with the way Kyle Shannon. He's the running game.
69:03Like it's not nothing to lose a tight end.
69:06I mean, you can, the entire season really relies on Mike, Mike Evans hamstring, to be honest, because if he, if anything
69:12happens, some 33 year old Mike Evans, things are very dire.
69:16Did any player individually, at least for fantasy purposes, like, or just fantasy skill players.
69:20Did anybody individually impress you in week one, as much as Mike Evans impressed in that Rams Niners game?
69:25I feel like he looked so rejuvenated. I thought Debo looked pretty good too.
69:29Honestly, but it looked good. Is it that, or is it just the Jersey?
69:34Well, I don't know. I feel like he looks spry.
69:36He was moving around. He was running after the catch, making guys miss.
69:40I, I, yeah, Evan, it looked pretty good. So yeah, that is.
69:44Yeah. The Niners will win. Uh, when the sun goes down, the appetizers come out.
69:48Yeah. You heard that right. Late night, half price appetizers are here at Applebee's saucy, sweet, and spicy boneless wings, crispy, cheesy

70:26Sunday night football. This is a good one. We got Colts at chiefs chiefs again, and in prime time here, is it a good one?
70:33Well, on the Sunday night football scale, this is like a four.
70:37Colts chiefs is the worst is the most is where we invented the Costanza from this game.
70:42Yeah. We came up with Costanza because I said that everyone on earth will be betting Kansas city.
70:47Right. Right. Um, my stat of the game is chiefs runs of 20 plus yards in 2025, the entire 17 game season
70:53last year, they had one run of, of 20 plus yards.
70:56They had two in this first game with Kenneth Walker.
70:59That was so that to me, that's like, that's twice as good.
71:03Well, I don't know what the math is for one game really, but like it's, it's exponentially better.
71:08Um, no, I just thought Kenneth Walker looks amazing.
71:10I'm not breaking any news here with that either, but a hundred, 191 scrimmage yards.
71:15Most, most by Kansas city running back since 2017, week 17 of 2017 when cream hunt cream on at two games, over 200 plus scrimmage yards.
71:22I think Kenneth Walker is basically Kareem hunt in this offense, which means I think if he can say healthy, he's a
71:29top five running back in the league in fantasy.
71:31Um, he's going to give them explosive runs, which is really important because none of their receivers can really do it.
71:37Uh, other than breaking tackles with she rice or whatever.
71:40And, um, I think Travis Kelsey still certainly can, can make plays, but their receiver core, the chiefs receiver core is a real problem.
71:47I think if, if we redrafted the season right now, if we just started over and everybody could start drafting again, fresh
71:54teams, if Kenneth Walker, like the fourth pick in the draft, if you took Ken Walker fourth, I wouldn't, I wouldn't be like, that's a bad pick.
72:01I mean, how low would he go? It's like Jameer Gibbs.
72:05And then it's like, you have John, Derek Henry, Kenneth Walker, Taylor.
72:08I will say how far is chase fall? Knowing Jeff Joe Burrow has a back injury the first week of the season.
72:14I think Kenneth Walker is like the fourth pick.
72:17Maybe McCaffrey's ahead of, I don't know. No, because I mean, if we're basing it off of week one, McCaffrey was in a timeshare.
72:24I think he's like, maybe this week one, potentially the third or fourth pick in fantasy drafts going forward.
72:29I like that, which is also funny because we identified all of this about what, how the chiefs would use him.
72:36We were just like, well, what if they don't also, he, he might get hurt.
72:40Cause he has like this history of foot issues.
72:43And, but ironically we got it right. And we had them like a little higher and I wish we had had him a lot higher.
72:50Yeah. Yeah. All right. The most important game of the week, Monday night football, the New York football giants, sorry, giants, New
72:56York giants, the giants, your New York giants are at the Los Angeles Rams.
73:00You're doing it better than him. You're overselling it.
73:03You're right. Sorry. The New York giants, the New York giants, the New York giants, the New York giants, giants, the one and O giants, right?
73:10We should have known they would have dominated that game.
73:13I know what we didn't see is that when the camera panned, everybody was like crying.
73:18Yeah. Weeping openly weeping. My one stat is that I have two for this one.
73:22I liked, but I will start with the giants by EPA per play.
73:26Last week was their best game since BC before COVID.
73:29Wow. And if you just look at the giants last, like 10 games by EPA per play, there was one game they had that was good in 2019.
73:37The rest are all from their title defenses. It's like, there was the best game the giants had by EPA per play
73:43since 2008, when the giants were defending the super bowl title and they look, and they started like 10 and O or something.
73:50And 2012, when they were defending the super bowl champion, uh, that like the, their title defense, that's the last time the giants had a game statistically.
73:58That was as all like all around good on offense.
74:01This is the ultimate. Is it real bowl? I couldn't agree more.
74:04There's, there's so much at stake here. I could, there are the Rams dog shit now.
74:09Who knows? Are the giants elite? Maybe. I don't know.
74:12I can't tell. The Rams are coming off their fewest.
74:15It was like, they're basically the worst performance. The Rams have had under McVay since one other one game versus Kyle Shanahan.
74:21I think that had to have been the worst Stafford game we've seen since he's been in LA.
74:26It's up there for the worst Stafford game in his career.
74:29Honestly, like overall, I, the, I look, obviously the, the Rams don't have miles Garrett.
74:34Having said that, I, I fear that the giants, I hope the giants are legit, but it's worth pointing out what the
74:40giants are trying to do, which is trot out a fullback, two tight ends, one receiver.
74:45And they're starting lineup on Sunday to football. That is like built to beat the Dallas Cowboys.
74:50The Dallas Cowboys don't have those big linebackers. Like the whole thing is just, there's a shortage of linebackers in the NFL.
74:56It's easier to find tight ends than linebackers. And so you can establish that you can get back to the running game
75:02and all these fast guys that were guard, like what Sean McVay did, which is get three receivers on the field, get
75:09nickel cornerbacks who can tackle, get smaller linebackers who are faster that can guard everything McVay made.
75:14Like Harbaugh is trying to pivot and has been trying to pivot hard against it.
75:18And the Cowboys are like the most vulnerable team to that in the NFL because of the way their linebacker core is.
75:24And they just got bullied. And I'm worried that, that like won't work as well on Sean McVay and the Rams.
75:30If it does, I'm going to freak out and you're never going to hear from me.
75:35Like you're never going to hear the end of it for me.
75:38I'm going to be so obnoxious. Oh, I can't tell you how much I want them to just come out.
75:44Dude, I have a feeling Sean McVay, you guys have heard he's a genius.
75:48Do you think that he'll let Devin Stagletary get four catches in a row in the flat?
75:53We'll see if he can figure out this whole flat game plan that the Giants used against.
75:58Genius. But genius. I mean, you want to talk about like motivation.
76:02The Rams are about as motivated as you could be coming into this game to not lose.
76:07Like McVay is probably not sleeping this week on his 20 hour flight back to LA.
76:11This is, this is a real high stress game for the Rams.
76:15Miles Garrett injured reserve. Ty Simpson is your first draft pick.
76:18And like, you know what I mean? The Rams, I don't think any of the rookies were even active for that week.
76:24None of the rookies dressed in the week one.
76:27Donald wasn't there. And Garrett was played his worst game probably ever.
76:30While we're here, Aaron Donald doesn't like the Giants, by the way.
76:34It's unclear how many snaps or whatever he's active, how many snaps he's going to play.
76:38But Aaron Donald, what does he have against the Giants?
76:41There was a, I mean, it's not, it's more, who is the player?
76:45I don't want to get the details wrong. I think golden Tate and him got into a fight, but it was also
76:51the Giants, the center at the time and him had a big fight.
76:55Aaron Donald's two things. He is the best player I've ever seen in football with my own two eyes.
77:01Not even close. He's also the underrated most dirtiest player in the NFL.
77:04And it never gets called because he's awesome. And he starts shit.
77:08And the Giants are one of the few teams I saw stand up to him and started all out brawl over it.
77:14And I loved it because he deserved it. Cause he just grabs people by their face mask and shoves them.
77:20And the rest are too scared to call anything.
77:23Yeah. Yeah. But he's lucky that he's not, that he doesn't have to face scatterboot.
77:27Yeah. Well, I'm not, that's kind of what I'm saying is I don't think, I think there's a chance that this game gets a little chippy.
77:35I also want to just throw out, cause also his physicality, like the, the fullback thing.
77:39So the, this stat, I, maybe it's obvious. I don't know if it's, it's good stat or whatever, but the Giants played again, 22 personnel.
77:46I hate the way the teams call it. That's so confusing.
77:5022 personnel. It means a fullback and two tight ends.
77:53That's what it means with one receiver on the field.
77:55The Giants played more snaps with a fullback last week, even just a fullback period on the field last week.
78:01Then the Rams have in 10 years under Sean McVay combined.
78:04Oh, really? Literally just a fullback. Sean McVay's used to fullback in 10 years, like eight times.
78:09Yeah. I mean, in this league nowadays, it's like you either have a fullback or you don't, you don't even bother.
78:15This is probably the game. I'm most excited to watch this week.
78:19Yeah. They just think there's so much, so many fun storylines.
78:22Don't know what to make of these two teams.
78:25The Giants were almost perfect against the Cowboys. I know I don't have to tell you this, but I'm like how much
78:31my question is how much of a difference, will it matter when they have a defense that's actually good?
78:37Because the Cowboys were maybe the least impressive defense I've ever watched in my life.
78:41I know that's hyperbole, but like that was pathetic.
78:43It was bad. It was pathetic. Like they couldn't guard the most simple thing on the sidelines.
78:48The real test for me and what I'm looking for is Jackson Dart.
78:52Like I just want nothing more than Jackson Dart to just be, you know, similar to Lamar Jackson where yes, he can run all this stuff.
79:00I know he's not Lamar Jackson, but Lamar's ability to play from the pocket makes the rushing more valuable.
79:05And his ability to scramble makes it easier to play from the pocket.
79:09And if Jackson Dart can play from the pocket and go and show that he's growing under, again, Brian Callahan is the quarterback coach there.
79:16Who's was a bad head coach, but overqualified to be a quarterback's coach.
79:20I just can't tell you how much it would mean to me if he can carve up like a Rams defense, even
79:26a little bit as much as he did with Dallas.
79:29Again, the Giants had no three announced last week, but it's not, it's not going to happen again, but I do want
79:36this to be real desperately, but this is, this is like a, this is the most week one, week two game of
79:42we'll see if that was like a total anomaly.
79:45What happened to giants and Rams last week, or if it's actually like the beginning of a trend line.
79:50Yeah. Rams are favored by seven and a half.
79:53Yeah. Fandle's got your back to start the season, giving everyone bet protect plus for free all September long.
79:58So your bets are covered. If your players get injured, I can relate.
80:02Nico Collins got hurt in the middle of the week.
80:05I'm dealing with that right now. It's not fun.
80:07No, it's terrible. It's I'm scrambling the midweek injury situation.
80:10It's the worst part of fantasy is the beginning of the season injuries.
80:14It's terrible. It is. You might have to play Jalen Waddle.
80:17So we're going to each give you our favorite touchdown score of the weekend.
80:21Can I hit you one? Please. What about a little, uh, look, Caitlin black running back for the niners here.
80:27I think they're going to beat the dolphins handedly.
80:30And Caitlin black is two to one to score a touchdown.
80:33I think they're monitoring. They were talking this week about how even McCaffrey himself was like, I like it.
80:38I like the one, two punch thing. I looked at Jameer Gibbs and David Montgomery in Detroit.
80:43And it keeps us fresher. And I think Caitlin black is good.
80:47He's going to be in the mix. And I think this, I think the niners are going to be a big doing garbage time stuff.
80:54And McCaffrey is going to be out. So I like Caitlin black, two to one score.
80:59Can I go further? Caitlin black, 17 to one to score two touchdowns because the combination of the mixing with McCaffrey, the game's competitive.
81:06I think Kyle Shannon wants Caitlin black to get reps.
81:08And if the game gets out of hand, I think they're going to take McCaffrey out in the fourth quarter of this game.
81:15If the lines are anywhere close, 13 and a half points.
81:18I think Caitlin black to score two touchdowns at 17 to one is actually a really good bet.
81:24Cause he's probably going to be the guy getting the most carries of the fourth quarter.
81:28Hear me out. Let me, let me, let me one up you now.
81:32Whoa. Caitlin black to score a touchdown in the second half, nine to one, nine and a half to one.
81:38That's nice. Let me, let me want to, Oh my God.
81:41Caitlin black to score three touchdowns, 125 to one.
81:43Caitlin black to score 10 touchdowns is 1 million to one.
81:47No, but actually the second half when I really like, I actually have an idea.
81:51I want to run this by you. This is, this is, I'm actually, I actually have a thought.
81:56I think the three, the three touchdown things, not insane.
81:59We just need him to get one early and then two in garbage time.
82:03So what if we did this? Also, I'm incorrect.
82:06It's, it's four to one. It's four to one for a second half touchdown for Caitlin black.
82:11Still like it. It's actually pretty good. Still like it.
82:14So here's my question. What if we did this?
82:16This is stupid and it won't win, but I kind of want to do it.
82:21All right. What if we parlayed? Oh, it's funny.
82:23I was going to say Derek Henry to score three touchdowns, but that's only 10 to one, which is hilarious.
82:29Wow. Three touchdowns for Derek Henry is only nine to one.
82:32He just did it. That's true. Three touchdowns is nine to one.
82:36That's, that's, that's a Greg Dulcich touchdown. What do you think is more likely?
82:40Derek Henry has three or Greg Dulcich has one.
82:42Henry, Henry. Henry. Cause he's done it like four times in the last eight weeks.
82:47This is actually really funny to look at. Other, other things that are nine to one.
82:51If Derek Henry and Kaelin black, both score three touchdowns, the, and we put a dollar on it, we would win $1,300.
82:58Boom. All right. I'm going to do that. All right.
83:00Well, Malik Benson on the Raiders to score a touchdown is eight to one.
83:05And Derek Henry is, is nine to one. That's amazing.
83:07For three touchdowns. So is that, is that going to be our thing?
83:11It's going to be Kaelin black. Yeah. Three touchdowns.
83:14Yeah, let's do it. And then I want Derek Henry and Kaelin black parlaying to both score three touchdowns.
83:19Great. Okay. You're going to be rich. What do you want?
83:22DK? I'll just tell you guys on those. Yeah.
83:25You could just do Derek Henry score one touchdown minus two 70.
83:29I was looking at Keaton Mitchell scoring a touchdown in the spirit of the chargers actually looking good.
83:34I believe it's five to one. Keaton Mitchell. Okay.
83:36Check out our bet in the fan to lap.
83:39And remember that Fandle has your back all September long with free bet protect plus to cover you against any injuries.
83:45And today's ringer one Oh seven is brought to you by Fandle.
83:49Again, we're competing against all the other shows here at the ringer and they changed the rules this year because they're mad that we won last year.
83:56So we're going to very curious that this year's this week, you know, everybody went three and two or two and three.
84:03So it's pretty close right now. And yet they decided in the graphic, we went two and three as did four other teams.
84:09And yet we're in last. Interesting. Interesting. Yeah. It shows that Bill's the best two and three team somehow.
84:15Curious. Curious. Yeah. Intriguing. So we have to give four picks right now.
84:19One has to be a teaser and the fifth one Sunday, which is funny to me still the, I can I pitch you guys on this?
84:26Yeah, I will. I'll double tap. If I have the same thing as you, I would like to just attack the bad quarterback situations.
84:33I want the Panthers giving two and a half points to the, against the Falcons.
84:37And it's like either Michael Penix with no practice or Cooper rush.
84:41And I want to just bet against that guy.
84:44I kind of think the bucks minus eight and a half Baker Mayfield revenge game against Cleveland and Deshaun Watson.
84:49I just want to do that. Yep. And I kind of want to take the bears minus four and a half versus
84:56the Vikings because it's either it's Carson Wentz or Kyler Murray.
84:59Yeah. All right. Quiet after that one. I can tell you guys are hard isn't in that one.
85:04I liked the, I, yeah, the bucks as well.
85:07I, can I offer my, a teaser? Teasers are always hard.
85:10We lost our teaser, but I'm going to offer another teaser.
85:13I know I hate the Eagles. Oh, if you, the Eagles are like minus seven, if you tease them down to minus
85:19one, it's basically like, they just have to beat the Titans.
85:23They just have to beat the Titans. And then you, and then we'll take the total, put it up to 45 and
85:29a half and take, take the under. We'll just put it with the Niners for the Niners.
85:34The Niners come down to like seven and a half, which I know seven and a half is a knowing number.
85:40It doesn't matter. They're going to, unless you don't, you're that afraid of the Australia time zone thing.
85:45Um, they're going to be jet lagged. We're going to have a rule.
85:49That's like, don't bet on teams that came back from Australia.
85:52What about the Steelers Patriots under it might rain?
85:55It's Rabel versus Mike McCarthy. It's like old school Rogers.
85:58I'm like, it's 41 and a half. We could bump that to under 47 and a half and put that with the Eagles game.
86:05You, but you think that you think the Titans and the Eagles are going to score more than 45 points.
86:10I kind of liked where Craig was going. All right.
86:13So let's do that. Let him cook. Okay. So that'll be 10 in this game.
86:1813. Okay. Let's do that then. So the Eagles plus one and the, and the, okay.
86:22I like that. I just keep thinking like if the Niners beat the, the dolphins by more than a touchdown, it seems easy.
86:29But you're right. They're coming back from Australia. It's it's that's dumb.
86:32Okay. So we got, we got bucks minus eight and a half.
86:36What other games? Panthers. So we need one other game.
86:39Yep. We want to do one more DK. You want to do Seattle?
86:42Yeah. I was thinking about that. Seattle minus four and a half.
86:46I don't know. I just feel like sales defense is so good.
86:49Yeah. Bet on, bet on the super bowl champions to beat the card.
86:53Also, they've just been so good against the Cardinals.
86:56I don't know. You know what I mean? It's, it's, this is a division game.
87:00The CX have dominated the Cardinals. I mean, the only other thing I was thinking about is like, I had written down
87:07that the giants getting more than a touchdown to play the Rams.
87:10I think the giants are good football team. I don't want to do that.
87:14Okay. Emotionally. And also just betting against the Rams after everyone just, they've heard 10 days of like, you guys suck.
87:20Okay. So let's do Seattle. Yeah. Okay. So we'll do the bear.
87:24So we're going to do the Panthers giving two and a half to the Falcons and we're betting against Falcons quarterbacks, Baker versus and bucks versus the Browns.
87:32And we're doing Seattle, even with Drew lock versus the Cardinals.
87:35And we're gonna do teasers. The Eagles. Is it Eagles minus one?
87:38Eagles are getting a point. Minus a point. Eagles minus one.
87:42And the under for Titans Eagles. Okay. I like those.
87:44Okay. We need one more. No, we had the other one on Sunday.
87:48The new rule. Okay. Gotcha. So only four. Got it.
87:51Today's rigor. One of seven was brought to you by Fandle odds.
87:55Subject to change. Can I read you one email?
87:57Yeah, of course. Yeah. So this email is from Kyle.
88:00Kyle. K bone. Breakfast was a bottle of water and a ham sandwich from Starbucks.
88:04Whole bottle of water. Ham sandwich. Those are kind of good.
88:08Those little Starbucks sandwiches aren't bad. Yeah. They're better than you think.
88:11There's one that little breakfast sandwich. They're a good like road trip breakfast.
88:15Yeah. The square bread one with the egg and the, it like a bit, it works.
88:19It's pretty good. It's not bad. It's, it's better than you.
88:23It's better than you think. I don't like that the egg bites come in like Reese's cups.
88:28Those, that freaks me out. Yeah. I know exactly what you mean.
88:31It's kind of, I just like, I don't know what I want them in, but not that.
88:36Can I ask you guys a question? When you go and order at a, like a deli or whatever, or like a
88:42breakfast place, do you, do you say, can I have a croissant or do you say, can I have a croissant?
88:48I say croissant. I don't say French. Do you say croissant?
88:52No, I was just wondering if you do. Do you say, can somebody pass me a La Croix?
88:57Sometimes, but that's just being like silly. Oh, were you just asking, or did you have like an art?
89:02Did you have a friend who does this? I mean, no, I've had people that I've heard do it before.
89:08Croissant. It's like, but I don't do that. I, I actually turn it up even harder.
89:13I'm saying the R as hard as I can.
89:15Croissant. Give me a crescent roll. Yeah. That's what I said.
89:18And they're like, what? Like one of them crescent rolls.
89:21And then they, they figure it out. So Kylie milled, because we asked, we were talking about fantasy football, auto drafting.
89:27We were talking about how, you know, do all this research and someone who auto drafted beat you in week one.
89:34And we were like, is there anything else like this?
89:36Oh yeah. We're like, like give all this time and energy.
89:40And you're like, yeah. I wonder if anyone could do this.
89:43And we said maybe stocks, maybe the S and P, but yeah.
89:46Yeah. We were, yeah. S and P 500 auto drafting for state traders.
89:50The Kylie milled in though, and said, another example of where auto drafting can beat the pros is.
89:55I guess there's this thing called Y12, which was a uranium enrichment facility in Oak Ridge during world war two.
90:01And they needed a lot of operators for this uranium enrichment facility.
90:05Because the basically enrichment, it was not very efficient in the 1940s.
90:08So they used, uh, on one hand, they had this one facility with, uh, just high school educated young women who worked on farms.
90:15Okay. And then they had a different facility, which was only like some of the best physicists in the world.
90:21And when they compared the two, the farm girls were better.
90:24Interesting. Because the physicists were just arguing with each other the whole time.
90:28Literally. Yes. The physicists were just arguing about the best way to do the enrichment.
90:32And the farm girls were just enriching uranium all day, exactly as they were told.
90:36And they were way better at this. That's funny.
90:39That's, that's kind of amazing. The physicists were probably mostly men back then too.
90:43And they were all probably just like cocky arguing about it.
90:46Actually, I think the best way to do it is a Wikipedia article.
90:50It's called it. I don't know. At Harvard, I learned that.
90:53The Calutron girls. Shout out the Calutron girls. C-A-L-U-T-R-O-N.
90:56Okay. That's good. There you go. The other one I just want to shout out.
91:00So this email is from Jeff. J-Bone or G-Bone.
91:03Jeff. Or G-Bone. Or the way you said that, or G-Bone is funny.
91:06Breakfast was a bowl of Greek. There's fewer people that spell with a G, I'd say.
91:11Breakfast was a bowl of Greek yogurt with blueberries, granola, and honey.
91:15Then an hour later, two air fried sweet potatoes and four scrambled eggs.
91:18Two sweet potatoes? Air fried. Do you know how much food a sweet potato is?
91:23Dude, eating an entire potato is a ton of food.
91:26It caught my eyes. It's like lambus bread. Two potatoes is just a lot of volume.
91:30I'm not saying it's unhealthy because it's fine, but that's just a ton of volume.
91:35Potato is one of the most filling. Just starchy.
91:37Just a whole fucking potato. It's crazy. All right.
91:40So Jeff emailed in and said, because DK asked, why do we even have it?
91:44Like, you're like, why do we even have an embassy there during the cold war?
91:48Right. Right. Right. You know, and I think perhaps stupidly, but yeah, the question of international.
91:53So Jeff, who's basically is like, I'm studying international relations, heard this conversation.
91:57And he's, he explains that basically like we need diplomats because we don't know what's going on over there.
92:02So we need to have some line of communication.
92:05So no one hits the button. Who do we talk to?
92:08If we want to talk to Russia. Exactly. So, uh, he explains that, you know, like he has some professors who've been diplomats or whatever.
92:15And he says, Russian diplomats are apparently intense. I can see that.
92:19He says, one of my professors was a diplomat in Russia after the cold war.
92:23And he once said that every single meeting he had with Russian diplomats, it would begin by putting a loaded pistol on a coffee table, pointing at them.
92:31What the fuck? Okay. Yeah, dude, the Russians are built different.
92:34I have a friend who, um, is Russian and I went to his birthday party or maybe it was a family birthday party.
92:41I can't remember, but it was like with his entire family.
92:44It was this, this back room at a restaurant and everybody got up every member of the family.
92:49It was like multi-generational grandparents all the way down to kids.
92:53People would get up and give speeches. After every speech, we took a shot of vodka.
92:57Like it was customary. There was like 10 speeches.
93:00We just kept ripping them. And grandparents were doing it.
93:03Aunts and uncles, cousins. It was crazy. People drove there.
93:06Thank you, DK. Thank you, Craig. Thank you, Cam.
93:08Thank you, Nikhil. Thank you, Austin. Thank you everyone for listening.
93:11Our rankings are fantasyfootball.themare.com for week two. Email us fantasy courts.
93:15We'll settle your fantasy court disputes. We'll, you know, you know, settle those disputes.
93:19Emails trivia questions for Monday. For trivia, we need the trivia tiebreakers for waivers.
93:23Thank you, Lord. Lord. Lord. 80s month. DK. Hit me.
93:26Yeah. I'm going to go with a classic. Okay.
93:28Absolute fricking classic. Okay. You cannot help, but just head bang to this song.
93:32I'm bricked up right now. What is it? I want to rock.
93:36Rock. Da, da, da, da. Twisted Sister. Well, you want to know what's funny about that song.
93:41I believe that's the inspiration for Goofy Goober Rock, the SpongeBob song.
93:44I don't know what that is, but that's great.
93:47You don't know Goofy Goober Rock? Dude, I didn't watch SpongeBob.
93:50There's no, no way he knows what it was, even though it was part of the original one second song challenge.
93:56DK, fantastic song. Twisted Sister. Great name. Great band name.
93:59I want to rock. I want to rock. Why do I know what all these bands are going to look like before
94:05I, before I, like I Googled them. I'm like, that's exactly what I was picturing.
94:10This was 1984. Man. Stay Hungry was the album.
94:12Stay Hungry. These guys might look like the most hair metal band ever.
94:16Yeah. Twisted Sister. Also a great name. I love that name.
94:19I thought, what is the name of the song again?
94:22I've clicked on the, I want to rock. Listen to the first five seconds.
94:26It's Goofy Goober Rock. It just is. DK, Goofy Goober Rock was a song from the very first SpongeBob feature length movie, which is fantastic.
94:33Might I add. And in it, actually that's not true.
94:36What am I saying? It's from the, the Super Bowl movie.
94:39He does the halftime show. Yes. Yeah. SpongeBob joins a band.
94:43They play at the real Super Bowl. Halftime in the, in the episode.
94:46And, uh, they play Goofy Goober Rock. And it's great.
94:49And it sounds like I want to rock. It's a great homage.
94:53All right. Sweet. Wait, didn't Travis Scott reference that during his halftime show?
94:57Goofy Goober or I want to rock? SpongeBob. Yeah.
94:59The SpongeBob. Didn't Travis Scott reference that? I don't know.
95:02Or maybe it was just in the stadium. DK, can you pull up Goofy Goober Rock?
95:07Listen to it. Sure. I do want to, I do want you to listen to this song.
95:12Goofy Goober Rock. Let me hear it. Oh, wait, but you got, I got to make sure you listen to the right thing.
95:18Are you going to send it to me? Wait a minute.
95:21Wait a minute. Wait a minute. It is from the movie.
95:25Right? I don't know. It's not from the halftime show.
95:28The halftime show is, Oh, you're right. Keep all this.
95:30It's from the movie. The SpongeBob, the SpongeBob halftime show, they say sweet victory.
95:34Yes. It's sweet victory. That's correct. You're right. I had it and then I lost it, but now I'm back.
95:40DK, I sent you the YouTube video. Oh, I can, I can hear it.
95:44It's, I found it in this clip. You're a Goofy Goober.
95:48It's the same thing. Yeah. It's the exact same thing.
95:50Fuck yeah. Fuck yeah. DK backed himself into SpongeBob.
95:53He didn't even know it. Great song. Iconic really.
95:56Yeah. I think I'm going to add both to the playlist.
95:59There's, there's nothing more 80s than just saying, screaming, I want to rock.
96:03What's your band's name? Twisted Sister. I want to rock.
96:05I want to rock. So what if it goes, what if it starts with, I want to rock.
96:11And then everybody else goes rock. Fucking, we're going to sell 20 billion of these.
96:15Yeah. Everybody on earth will like it. Great. Goodbye.
