2:06This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. Play!
2:09It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
2:14He's just going to go the distance. Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
2:20It's mailbag time. It's Friday, October 2nd. You might be listening on Saturday, October 3rd.
2:25Happy weekend, everybody. Welcome back to Adam Aizer. What's up, Dan?
2:29I'm doing well. I feel like my vibe... You could not ask that.
2:33I said, what's up? What's up? I mean, not much.
2:36It's a great day. What's up with you? I'm doing great.
2:40Thanks. Well, I was just going to say, I feel the vibe, and I feel like I want to change it, because
2:47I was reading Jamie's Startset article last night, and just like, I'm tired of talking about the injuries.
2:53And I feel like all of this week on Beyond the Box score, we're just talking injuries.
2:59So today, I want it to be less injury talk, more lineup decision talk, fantasy cops, all the fun stuff about fantasy.
3:06We got Nico back, we got Puka back. Let's go.
3:09Let's get to the injuries first. Yeah, the positives.
3:12Now, you're right. It can be on Sunday when you get major injuries like we had last Sunday.
3:18It can really actually make me a little upset.
3:21But not for my fantasy. I have zero Devon HN.
3:24There's nothing to do with that. I don't like talking about it.
3:28It sucks. And I know it frustrates people a lot.
3:32So we do have good fantasy cops today. Some quality fantasy cops.
3:36And we're going to start with your YouTube comments.
3:39Can we do a whole episode of fantasy cops?
3:42That would be awesome. I'm not saying we should.
3:45I'm saying could we? I probably get 10 a week.
3:48Yeah. So we could, but not all of them.
3:51A bonus episode at some point toward the end of the year?
3:55Not all of them are interesting enough, I think.
3:58And also, I don't want to overkill it. You know?
4:01I don't want to. You got to make people wait.
4:04That's true. Okay. Dan, I think if you can move your mic a little closer to your mouth or turn your levels up.
4:12Oh, I'm surprising. I know. I just see that in the comments.
4:16I have the right mic on. I don't know what it is.
4:20It's not the mic. It's just a little far from your mouth.
4:24That's all. Okay. You also have a mirror on your mic, Stan?
4:28What? You have a mirror? Like the little connecting thing between your mic and your mic, Stan?
4:34Oh. Yeah, it's a little reflective there, isn't it?
4:37Yeah. How about that? You can't do it. Let's see if they can get figured out.
4:42Don't tell them. Maybe he figures it out. He is.
4:45This is just killing me. I'm frazzled. You know what I'm talking about, though, right, Adam?
4:50Yeah, I see it. All right. Get your questions in.
4:54Get your questions. Bucky Irving or Braylon Allen? Bucky.
4:57This was one that Jacob and I actually debated on Tuesday's show.
5:01I'm okay going with Bucky. He has him ranked one spot ahead, and I think that's fair.
5:06But I would not be surprised if Braylon outscores Bucky.
5:10So if you have a gut feel for Braylon, I would go Braylon.
5:14Question for Dan. The American business environment has fundamentally changed following the insider training in savings and loan scandals.
5:20Explain business ethics and how they are applied today.
5:23I know everything about business ethics. Let me tell you.
5:26Business ethics, if you grew up in New York, if you're from New York, that's the best place to have business ethics.
5:34That's my answer. Do you know what this is?
5:37No, of course I don't know. This is a joke.
5:40I don't know why you read this on air.
5:43You don't know what this is? Oh. You never read The Puppy Who Lost His Way?
5:48Oh, this is Billy Madison? Yeah, it's Billy Madison.
5:51Oh. That's how that started? Yeah, that's his answer.
5:54See, the part of the story I don't like, that's the only part I know of that.
6:00No, it's whatever. One of my fantasy team names, by the way, is business ethics for that very reason.
6:06Mariota or Jalen Hurts? Mariota. Mariota. That's how you're supposed to pronounce it.
6:10What do you mean? It's Mariota, I think. I think it's Mariota.
6:14Okay. No, it's not, dude. I think so. I think so.
6:18Sit one. Rice, Neighbors, Burden, or Golden? Sitting Neighbors.
6:21Ooh. Yeah. Neighbors, and I'm okay with that. I can't sit Burden.
6:25It's either Burden or Neighbors. But if you expect Burden's role to continue like it was last week, because the matchup is
6:32not as good as it seems against the Jets.
6:35They've been good on defense. But I'm okay sitting Neighbors for Burden, I guess.
6:40Herbert or Mariota? Mariota. Mariota. Marshawn Lloyd, Price, Kendry Miller, or Ollie Gordon?
6:44Ugh. Price. Really? He may not play, so what's your backup plan?
6:48Gordon. Uh, Emmanuel Wilson. Dan, do you know this?
6:51Yeah, Emmanuel Wilson. Do you know this? The bag launches?
6:54Yeah, that's the best part of the movie. Do you know this reference?
6:59Uh, every time I hear Ollie Gordon, I think of Gordon?
7:02Gordon? Yeah. Is that Batman? No, it's, uh, Peter.
7:05I think he can't remember Chris's name or something like that.
7:09They're like, what's your son's name? Peter Griffin. In what?
7:12South Park. Oh, I'm not a huge Family Guy fan.
7:16Did you ever see South Park destroy Family Guy?
7:19After that moment, I was kind of like, yeah, they pretty much nailed it.
7:23It's just a manatee hitting three random things and putting it together.
7:27It's like, great, great comedy. Great job. Would you stash pits or craft?
7:31Both are on waivers. Craft. Gordon? Uh, will Dan switch to indoor golf now that winter is coming?
7:37Of course we will switch to indoor simulator golf.
7:40I mean, what do you think, Ben? I'm just not going to swing for four months?
7:46I'm not going to swing. Hampton, Odunze, Kalief Raymond, or Keenan Allen, PPR?
7:50Keenan Allen. Uh, Hampton still for me. Schultz, Raymond, or Ja'Cory Kroski Merritt, and Rashad White not practicing, so probably out.
7:57Bill. Yeah, Bill, with no White. That's, he's a top player.
8:01Does that really change anything though, Jamie? Because like, again, it could just be Eckler.
8:06It could be Eckler, but it also, you know, we've seen two touchdowns, right?
8:10The last two weeks go to Rashad White. One cat, one receiving, one rushing.
8:15And I think the receiving one was a short yardage one.
8:18So, the Colts are not great against running backs.
8:21I think this just gives Bill enough of a bump that you should feel comfortable with him.
8:27Okay. Dan, you have some up dog on your mic.
8:30I'm trying to figure out why my mic is so low.
8:34I have the gain and everything up so high.
8:37You have up dog on your mic. Well, right now we're trying to get the levels right.
8:43We're not worried about the up dog joke, okay?
8:46Okay. Dan, you could weigh in on a debate we had earlier this morning.
8:50Muffins or Cinnabon? As far as what? That's a good, like, Cinnabon for one bite.
8:55For one answer. Okay. For one bite, it's Cinnabon.
8:58But I'm not going to eat a whole Cinnabon.
9:01It's disgusting. By the time I get like 30% through, I'm disgusted with myself and life itself.
9:07At least on the muffin, I can get through the whole thing.
9:11So, I'll go muffin. It's more versatile. Bill or Wicks?
9:14Bill. Yeah. You can't bench Bill this week. He's a top 20 play.
9:18I think, at least. All right. I mean, I think.
9:22Yeah. Okay. Would you drop Chris Godwin for Emmitt Johnson?
9:25Yes. No. Yes. I still think they can get back on track, the Bucs, at some point.
9:31Yeah. We'll wait three weeks for that, I guess.
9:34Yeah. Right. We're going to wait. But. Last one.
9:36I need to drop Dobbins or Dontavian Wicks for Jacoby Brissett, Daniel Jones, Panix or Mariota?
9:42If you need help now, Mariota. If you are looking long term, Daniel Jones.
9:46Brissett. So, I'd go Brissett over all of them.
9:49And I would probably drop. Man, if. Cardinals have one.
9:53This feels like a 10 team league. I don't know why, but it does.
9:57I would probably drop May. Oh, wow. Yeah. Not a bad.
10:01Not a bad call. Okay. That's. There's some questions.
10:04We'll get to some more chat questions a little bit later.
10:08Sunday morning. Super early. Wake up with us. And join us at 830 a.m.
10:12Eastern on YouTube.com slash fantasy football today. For a lot.
10:16London games are back. What's that? London games are back early.
10:19Week four, we got hit with it. Seven straight weeks.
10:22Woo. Seven straight. I. Yeah. Not my favorite. I can't believe that.
10:26But. I will enjoy the 830 to 930. Show.
10:29And then the noon to one show. YouTube.com slash fantasy football today.
10:33From 830 to 930 a.m. And then noon to one.
10:37So a little bit different schedule. With the London games.
10:40Seven straight weeks. And. That means no nap for me.
10:43So you're going to get cranky Adam. At that noon show.
10:47A part of me loves the London game. Because he gets.
10:51Why would you not just nap at the halftime?
10:54Yeah. I will nap at halftime. But that's going to be like a 10.
10:5810 minute nap. It's not going to be much.
11:01Have you been watching Miami this year? Have you been watching the hurricanes?
11:05Or have you been going on trips? And I mean like doing like.
11:10Going to birthday parties and stuff. Watching the hurricanes?
11:13Yeah. I don't miss the hurricanes. Okay. Well you missed it last year.
11:17Well you did miss it last year. You missed the playoff game.
11:21Yeah. I DVR'd the playoff game. Right. For an important event.
11:25So. It was not an important event. So. What was it again?
11:29Why'd you miss it? It was a Hanukkah party.
11:32It was a son's friend's. It was a Hanukkah party.
11:35Friend of a friend's birthday party. I just said what it was.
11:39It was a Hanukkah party. And you're making something up.
11:42This is what you do. We have the hurricanes at 730.
11:46We have the Yankees. Oh yeah. Saturday night as well.
11:49Forgot you're a fake Yankee fan. One of. Just kidding.
11:52He's a real fan. One of my favorite bands.
11:55Is coming to Sleepy Hollow New York. Whoa. For the Sleepy Hollow Music Festival.
12:00And I kind of want to go. And it's Everclear.
12:03Oh Everclear. I would see Everclear. What's that? You're going.
12:07You're going to the concert. Or are you having bought tickets yet?
12:11I don't think I'm going to end up going.
12:14I don't even know what time they're on. It's Saturday.
12:17It's like a festival. One of your favorite bands is in your backyard.
12:21You're not going? I've seen them before. They're not great live.
12:25I really want to watch the two games. So.
12:28I'm on the fence. Is Everclear the wake me up and say band.
12:32Or is that different? No. I don't know what that is.
12:36Okay. Who? What was that? You know that call my name and save me.
12:40You know that song. Is that not Everclear? Oh that's Evanescence.
12:44Okay. That I would want to go see. Do you use the mirror on your microphone to brush your teeth?
12:51I don't even know what mirror is. I actually don't think it is a mirror.
12:56I just think it looks like it. There's actually no mirror on this.
13:00I'm looking at it right now. But I don't know what this is.
13:04Really struggling. Mirror, mirror on the bike. How's the first time you noticed this Jamie?
13:09Well the last time we talked to you were in a closet.
13:13So. That's true. That is true. I was in that Chicago closet.
13:17That wasn't even a closet. I don't even know what I wanted.
13:21It was like a laundry room. I love this.
13:24Do you see the mirror type yes or no in the chat?
13:28What is this mirror? Alright. We're going to have to play on.
13:32Anyway. I don't think I'm going to go to the concert.
13:36But we'll see. Now let's read some emails. The only.
13:39I don't have a lot of notes now. Just the commander's practice report.
13:43With Jaden Daniels out. Chigo Conquo limited. Rashad White missing practice.
13:47So emails start with one from David. He's got a bunch of questions here.
13:51Dak Prescott, Tyler Shuck or Bryce Young? Shuck. I think it's still Dak for me.
13:56Despite the matchup. Kyle Pitts or Mark Andrews? Andrews.
13:59Andrew. Andrews I guess. Michael Wilson, Matthew Golden or Lad McConkie?
14:03Golden. Golden. But Wilson's going to have a huge week too.
14:07Khalif Raymond, Quentin Johnston or Wondale Robinson? I'm going to bench Golden.
14:11Raymond. Raymond. From Crosby. You've got to get him faster.
14:14Jamie's going to get there first. That's how it goes.
14:17He's fast. You can just repeat. Studying all week.
14:20He's on shows all week. He's writing so much content.
14:24Bang, bang. Just clicks in his brain so much faster than mine.
14:28So start writing more. I guess so. Yeah. I don't know how else to do this.
14:33From Crosby. Years of experience. No, you're doing it great.
14:36You just wait for Jamie to answer. Then you say, yeah, I agree with Jamie.
14:41No, but if I want to have that, I'm not just going to answer differently.
14:46I will let Dan answer first. Okay. All right.
14:49Thank you. From Crosby. 12 team half PPR league.
14:52I have two tough decisions. Blake Corum or Jalen, right?
14:55Right. Corum. Craft or Waller? Craft. Waller. Waller. Good matchup.
14:59It's mean it's just touchdown or nothing, but he looks for him a lot.
15:03Reggie Miller with the layup. And the only thing that could ruin is his station on Prince.
15:09What? What was that? It's a very complex analogy that Jamie's using to say Darren Waller as a layup.
15:15First, it was LeBron blocking a good dollar. Now it's Tasha and Prince blocking.
15:20He blocked Reggie Miller. Yeah. What is this from?
15:23The NBA. Yeah, no, but the reference. It was.
15:26It's. I said that Waller has the layup of all matchups.
15:29And the only thing that could ruin it is LeBron coming out of nowhere and blocking.
15:35Now I know what you're talking about. Yeah. The rundown block.
15:38Yep. Yep. Got it. Oh, look at that. Let's go.
15:42Sean Prince blocking. That's a great, great shot there.
15:45There's a great block right there. Holy crap. There's one more that I have if you want it.
15:51Okay. It's a Kobe chase down on Miller. I didn't think you were an NBA fan for some reason.
15:57Jamie. Jamie is a big NBA fan. Yeah. I presume.
16:00Not as much as I used to be with you.
16:03Heat? No. Or something else. No, he doesn't care about teams.
16:07Oh, no. Oh, yeah. I'll just. Is there any team that you care about at this point, Jamie, in sports?
16:14Professional? Either. Either. Oh, I mean, Gators. Do you care?
16:17You watch Gators? Okay. I didn't know you cared about Gators.
16:21Okay. They're good this year, by the way. Jamie Ball.
16:24Beast. Yeah, he is. Very good. Very good. Unless he faces Miami.
16:28Do they get to play Miami this year? Unfortunately for them, they don't.
16:32Oh, I was hoping to see that matchup for the podcast purposes.
16:36That would have been so much fun. I'm happily that they don't play because I don't know how that would go.
16:43Yeah, they beat you guys up easily. Well, the last two times they play, the Hurricanes won by like 70 combined.
16:50Yeah, they. Right. Because the last two times Florida wasn't good.
16:54There were a few. I think probably before we started working together, there was a few good, like early 2000s.
17:00There were some good games. How is that not an annual game?
17:04It used to be, but that was in the 80s.
17:08They haven't played annually since then. Florida was scared.
17:11I guess. I think that's the story. Yeah. Now they're good.
17:14I mean, the fact is Miami plays nobody all year.
17:18Such a fake record every year. Okay. I mean, you have some SEC bias like everyone else out there.
17:24Nah, I'm really just trying to work. That's a Wisconsin guy.
17:27Why would he have SEC bias? Well, because everyone thinks the SEC is great, but it isn't that great anymore.
17:34I do. Yes. Yeah. It may not be as good as it used to be, but the one thing I know for
17:41sure is the ACC is an absolute joke of a football game.
17:45No, it isn't. That's where you're wrong. Nothing we know.
17:49No. Okay. Sure. That's where you're wrong. All right.
17:52This is from Daniel. Do I start Ashton Gentry or Drake London?
17:56Half PPR. London. London. How? I. Yes. London. Yeah.
17:59And from NJT. Is that a impression of me?
18:02No, it was Jamie being like, how do you have that option?
18:05Yeah. And he's one and two, by the way.
18:08From NJT. Giving up Bucky Irving and Luther Burden.
18:11Getting Chase Brown. My white outs would be Lamb, DJ Moore, Wondale Robinson, and Dodd.
18:16Jobs, and it's a three receiver league. Give up Bucky and Burden for Chase Brown.
18:21It's a great bylaw. I'm in on this. I think that Chase Brown is one of the better by low players you can make right now.
18:30Yep. Okay. It just leaves him pretty thin at.
18:33It does leave him thin, but there's a chance Bucky's going to be a super frustrating play.
18:39This can go two ways, I think, with these three Jalen Daniels weeks.
18:43One, they designed the offense completely around Bucky Irving because they can't drop back and have a consistent rhythmic passing game.
18:50That's good. Two, the entire offense looks like crap and Bucky isn't the focal point.
18:55And now you have a guy that's basically a dead zone back.
18:59Well, maybe. Yeah. I don't know which way. You're getting Chase Brown at the right time.
19:04You're maybe selling Luther Burden at the right time because who knows how this is going to go with the quarterback play
19:11with Caleb not healthy and maybe playing less than 100%.
19:15I don't know. I think it's a great trade.
19:18Okay. All right. We'll take a break. We'll take a great break.
19:22And when we come back, more of your emails, Fantasy Cops, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and your YouTube comments after this.

23:00I just got a team name Tuesday in the inbox from Dan.
23:03You have to do it in the voice. Not a different Dan, by the way.
23:08You have to do it in the Arby's voice.
23:11We have Sadiq. That's not bad. Yeah, that bad.
23:14That's pretty solid. Now, do you put the letters RB and then like a lower S in front of that?
23:21Arby's. We have Sadiq. Like Arby's and Arby's. To make sure everybody knows what you're doing kind of thing?
23:27Yeah. No, I mean, I don't know if it adds or gets confusing.
23:32I feel like you almost have to because unless you're saying, unless it's like a league where you can click it and
23:39it just auto, like, you know what I mean?
23:42Yeah, you're right. I think you do have to put Arby's in front of it.
23:47Okay. Here's a question from Wade White, a faithful listener.
23:5012 team PPR, six point per passing touchdown leagues.
23:53I need two flex. Okay. Darren Waller, Rasheed Rice, Matthew Golden, Kalief Raymond.
23:57Rice and Golden. Golden is the easy one. I'd go Rice as well.
24:02Oh, okay. Why? What do you like, Adam? Well, I liked that.
24:06I was going to say the same thing. I thought Jamie might go Waller.
24:10All right. That's it from Wade. Thank you, Wade.
24:13This is from Noe from a town an hour north of Fresno.
24:17Oh, that's got to be considered the Pacific Northwest at that point.
24:21It has to be. It's north. Now we're north of Fresno.
24:25Bakersville. Sure. Start two running backs. Hampton, Tootin, Henderson.
24:28Henderson. Tootin and Hampton for me. Yeah, you got to say Henderson.
24:32Let's guess how many states Dan Schneier has been in.
24:35That's a good guess. Other than layovers. Like you have to have been in there.
24:40Not just driven through them, but you know. Left the airport.
24:44Left the airport or the car. Yeah. All right.
24:47I think driving through counts. What if you pee?
24:50No, not driving through. Doesn't count. Unless you spend time there.
24:53Yeah. Eat at a diner there or something like that.
24:57That counts. Yeah, that counts. You got to do something that gives you some aspect of the culture.
25:03I'm going to say Dan has been to, he's in his early 30s.
25:07I'm going to say he's been to 18. No, no.
25:10Much more. I've been, I think my number is somewhere around 32 or 33.
25:15I'm going to say. I'm going to have to count it.
25:18So. Dan, he loves to travel. That's the thing with Dan.
25:22He loves to travel. I'm going to say 26.
25:25I'm going to have to count it at some point.
25:28Yeah. No, why don't you count it? Jamie, I'll run through the questions here.
25:33And before fantasy cops, you'll give us the answer.
25:36All right, Jamie. Brian says, would you trade Omari and Hampton and Pukanikua?
25:40He says for Ken Bone and Parker Washington. Is Ken Bone Kenneth Walker?
25:45I guess so. I never heard that. I would 1 billion percent make that trade.
25:50Okay. From Douglas. Dear Mark, Helena, Irving, and Dylan.
25:53No idea. But before Dan answers, we're going to go double or nothing.
25:57On what? What's our? Closest to the number of states.
26:00Yeah, but what was the, oh, is this the, does Dan know this?
26:04Yeah. So you're up $2. Okay. Okay, fine. Double or nothing.
26:08I said 26. You said 17? 18. 18. All right.
26:11Closest to the number without going over. Okay, fine.
26:14Half PPR pick two. This is Mark, Helena, Irving, and Dylan is severance apparently.
26:19Omari and Hampton, Braylon Allen, Dalton Kincaid. Pick two.
26:22Omari and Hampton, Braylon Allen, Dalton Kincaid. No. That's it.
26:25Pick two. Sitting Omari and Hampton. Yeah, me too.
26:28From Kyle. 10-team super flex. PPR. Half a point for a rushing first down.
26:33Tony Pollard or Omari and Hampton? Hampton. And flex.
26:36Tony Pollard. I got the number. Okay. Tony Pollard, Kendry Miller, Romo Dunze, Emeka Buka, Devon Vele, Carnell Tate.
26:42A lot of names there. Tony Pollard, Kendry Miller, Romo Dunze, Emeka Buka, Devon Vele, Carnell Tate.
26:48Remember, half a point for a rushing first down.
26:51You see one? Yeah. Pollard, right? Just based on that.
26:54I still go Vele. Yeah, I'm going to go Vele.
26:57All right, Dan. We got a 26 from me, an 18 from Jamie.
27:02How many states have you been to? This is going to be, I can't believe you know me this way.
27:0825. Wow. You almost got this right. Literally insane.
27:11I picked up one this year that I hadn't been to Rhode Island a few months ago.
27:17And I was looking through it. Yeah, 25 of these.
27:20I've done a few hiking trips. That's a big part of it.
27:24I hit Montana, Utah, all those on the hiking trips.
27:27Then I've done some golf trips that have also hit some extra stuff in there.
27:32But yeah, a lot of East Coast, a lot of West.
27:36And then Texas, Florida area. Not that much Midwest.
27:39I learned just really Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin. I somehow have never been to Iowa, Nebraska, Kentucky, any of those ones.
27:46I've been to all three of those states. Yeah.
27:49I don't know why I lived out there for four years.
27:52I don't know why I never hit any of those.
27:56All for work. I didn't go for fun. Yeah.
27:59All for work. Yeah, I'm 32-ish, 33, something like that.
28:02How about you, Jamie? Two, three, three. Around 30.
28:05Wow. Yeah. I need to get up to... I don't know why, Adam, I would have expected you in the low teens.
28:12If it were up to me for the rest of my life, I would probably just go to one or two states.
28:19That's what I'm saying. You're just begging somebody who wants to travel.
28:23Yeah, no. Most of it was work. Okay. So you had to travel.
28:28Yeah, and I've gotten to do some cool stuff for work, but...
28:32Oh, in college, too. I traveled a lot in college.
28:35I've never been to Alaska. I really want to go there.
28:39That's like one of the top ones on my list.
28:42I've been there. It's supposed to be beautiful. Yeah.
28:45Yeah, Alaska was... I went on a cruise, so I didn't really see Alaska that well.
28:50Okay. But... It still counts. It was cool. Kind of.
28:53Went whitewater rafting in Alaska. Oh, in Alaska. Yeah, it was cool.
28:57I don't also see you doing whitewater rafting unless it was like the low grade.
29:02I feel like you do like the one, level one.
29:06You're not a level like three or four kind of guy, are you?
29:10I went to West Virginia and did one of the most dangerous whitewater raftings in the country.
29:16Yeah. Yep. I'm surprised. Do you go on roller coasters?
29:19Love roller coasters. I did not put you on any of this.
29:23I don't think I want to do whitewater rafting anymore, but it was fun when I was a kid.
29:29Yeah. What was the movie you've been at? Any movies this week that you asked and thought I...
29:35Because you didn't ask me. We didn't have a movie this week, no.
29:39No, we didn't have any. Yeah. All right. Back to the questions real quick here.
29:44Travion Henderson. Adam's up four bucks, though. Yeah, baby.
29:47I'm getting close to buying something. Dave wants to know, Travion Henderson or Ja'Cory Krosky Merritt?
29:53Krosky Merritt. Bill. Bill. Yeah. Let's hope this is a good week.
29:57I mean, it's a good matchup, good opportunity for him.
30:00Yeah. This is from Jazz. 14 team full PPR.
30:03I got offered Josh Allen for my Jordan Love and Chase Brown.
30:07My other running backs are James Cook, Kyron Williams, and Travion Henderson.
30:11And Braylon Allen. Nope. Yeah. To me, these are the type of trades that can ruin a season in 14 team leagues.
30:18They feel good on paper. Josh Allen's one of the top scorers.
30:22You feel like he's a weekly difference maker. Before you know it, you're starting like, I don't know, Kendra Miller at running
30:29back two because you got one more injury and now you have no doubt because you gave away a position player for a quarterback upgrade.
30:38Can't do it, in my opinion. We could have some news come through during the show.
30:43And one thing is the Jets have ruled out Brees Hall, Adonai Mitchell, and Mason Taylor.
30:48Okay. Yeah. How good was Sadiq last week? His tape was freaking awesome.
30:52Amazing. Best tape looks. Best tape I saw all week, I think.
30:56I didn't go hard enough on him in free agent budget, and I lost him in every league.
31:02People were heavy on him. I said, I think on Tuesday, if you didn't know he was a tight end, you would
31:10think he was a receiver, a wide receiver. That's exactly what I was talking about.
31:15We're thinking alike. We're having mind meld this week.
31:18It looked to me like I was watching a Terrence Ferguson-type player out there, moving like a receiver.
31:24The other guy that, to me, was the best I saw on tape, I don't watch that much, but...
31:30But you do some for beyond. Sam Darnold. I don't know if you saw it.
31:35Oh, I didn't watch that game. He looked good.
31:38He looked great. He looked great, and his offensive line looked great.
31:42I mean, you watch enough football, there aren't that many guys who have just clean pockets a lot.
31:48Right. And he really did. Interesting. And he played Washington.
31:51He'll make some mistakes like that second interception was bad, but I thought he was great.
31:56And he was aggressive. And I really could see him having a good year again.
32:01I know I said that yesterday. Yeah, and they can't really block the run, so they have to pass more this year.
32:09Yeah. Let's see. What else? We got from Mike.
32:12Dear George, Ron, Fred, and Bill. George, Ron, Fred, and Bill.
32:15What are those from? Oh, the Weasleys. What? Oh, from Harry Potter.
32:19Yeah. I never read three books of Harry Potter as a kid.
32:23Never watched a single movie. How weird is that?
32:26Yeah, this is weird. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know what it is.
32:30Everyone says the movies are better than the books.
32:33Oh, I didn't know that. I'm just kidding. Okay.
32:36The opposite. All right. 12-team super flex. CJ Stroud, Drake May, Michael Penix, Cam Ward.
32:41Should I start Stroud? He's starting Stroud. And then May, Penix, or Ward.
32:45Oh, or he can get Mariota. Oh. Mariota. Mariota.
32:48Yeah, go get Mariota. And as far as starting, he said he's starting May or he's starting Stroud.
32:54Stroud. Stroud. I would only start Stroud if Nico plays.
32:58I would not start Stroud if Nico's out. I would start Stroud over May either way.
33:03No. And this is from Chris. Our last question here before we get to some fantasy cops.
33:08I just lost Devon Achan. My second running back was either Monongai or Blake Corum.
33:13I have St. Brown, Olave, Christian Watson, and Luther Burden.
33:17So I traded Olave and Monongai for Kyron Williams and Jalen Waddell.
33:21And now I have the Rams backfield locked up.
33:24Way overpaid. No. I wouldn't say way overpaid. I don't think we love the deal because I think he's given up the
33:31best player, but he got two quality players back here in Waddell and who's the back?
33:36And Kyron. Like, yes, Olave is one of the true difference makers in fantasy right now, and there aren't that many.
33:43There's a handful every year, two handfuls every year, let's say, a little more.
33:48And he's one of them. And he's going to continue to be.
33:52But Kyron is pretty damn solid. And Waddell has way more great weeks in him than Monongai has.
33:58And Caleb Douglas is out this week, by the way, for the Dolphins.
34:02Chris Bell time, baby. Is it finally here? The Chris Bell breakout week.
34:06Is it coming? Maybe, but not before the fantasy cops get here.
34:10Let's go. Where's Dan's version? I'll get Dan's version for the next one.
34:15Don't do it again. Do your version. Where's your version?
34:18Where's Jamie's version? It's great. It's perfect. All right.
34:21We have three. It's not perfect, but. Three fantasy cops today.
34:24And I think they get progressively better. Let's see.
34:27This one is from Eli. He says, hey, Boyd, Kenny, Victor, and Jade.
34:32It's an obvious one. Boyd, Kenny, Victor, and Jade.
34:35The only Boyd I know is Boyd Crowder. Yeah, I have absolutely no idea who this was.
34:40I was just trying to make you feel bad.
34:43Oh. We have an issue in my 10-team dynasty league.
34:47I am the commissioner. I woke up on Wednesday morning to a pending trade of Brian Robinson for two first-round picks, a second-round pick, and Tony Pollard.
34:56So effed up. Obviously, the guy thought he was trading for Bijan Robinson and pretty quickly asked for the trade to be canceled.
35:03I think it should be canceled. But the Brian Robinson manager obviously disagrees.
35:07What do the fantasy cops rule? No, no, no.
35:10This is cut and dry. You cancel the trade.
35:13And I have questions about the Brian Robinson manager who obviously disagrees.
35:17Step up to the plate, man. Be a man and understand that.
35:21You don't need to be a baby about this.
35:24It's a stupid thing. He made a mistake. Intent is important here.
35:28You're running a dynasty league, which is supposed to be a long-term league with the same managers.
35:34Don't set a bad tone by trying to do this type of thing and then say, oh, no, no, no.
35:41He has to stick with it. Get the hell out of here.
35:45Enough. Cut and dry. Next one. Rough. Rough. Oh, sorry.
35:48I get the wrong one. Next one. I would let the trade stand for like a day, but I would text the
35:55commissioner and say, I'm just doing this to mess with the other guy since he screwed it up.
36:01I would be wanting to mess with the Brian Robinson manager based on what he said more than anyone else.
36:08The show should stand. Doesn't it look like I'm wearing a Fantasy Cops t-shirt?
36:12It does look like you're wearing the Fantasy Cops shirt and it's bleeding down right there.
36:18It's the same color. I love it. That's great.
36:21All right. Nice. That's Adam's or mine? What is it?
36:24What's me? Come on now. All right. Anyway, let's get the real music back here.
36:29For Brandon in Detroit. Not bad. Getting better. Getting better.
36:32Dear Kirk, Kenneth. I'll find it eventually. Dear Kirk, Kenneth, Jaden, and Jalen.
36:36Kirk, Kenneth, Jaden, and Jalen. Players of some sort.
36:39Two Daniels and two Walkers? I don't know who Kirk Walker is, but.
36:44Kirk Cousins. Kirk Cousins. Our 14-team half PPR league has existed since our Michigan State days, forming in 2007.
36:50Oh, it's all Michigan State guys. Oh. Oh. Kirk Cousins.
36:53Who are the other ones? Kenneth Walker. Kenneth Walker.
36:56Yeah. Jalen. Jaden and Jalen. Michigan State, Jalen and Jalen.
37:00Oh, Jaden Reed. Good. Now, Jalen is the one that I'm going to have trouble with.
37:05I don't know where Jalen Wright went to school.
37:08If that's him, I don't know. It's not Jalen Wright.
37:11He went to Tennessee. Yes, he did. That's right.
37:14Well, I'm good with these. That's why I'm trying to get.
37:18Oh, Jalen. The receiver. No. Which one? Jalen. No, McMillan went to Washington.
37:22No, it's not McMillan. What am I thinking here?
37:25It's not Jalen Hyatt either. Hyatt was Tennessee. Okay.
37:28I don't really care. Whatever. Oh, Naylor? Naylor. There it is.
37:32Maybe. I don't know if Jalen Naylor went there, but it feels like he could have.
37:37Okay. 14-team half PBR league, 2007. It's transformed from one that vetoed nearly every trade to one that largely reserves vetoes for instances of collusion.
37:45The commissioner has the final say, but accepts public comment from league members.
37:50This terrible, awful, no good, very bad trade was accepted this morning.
37:54Travion Henderson and Jacoby Myers for Brock Bowers. Ugh.
37:56The Bowers manager, Doofus, is awful. And Bowers was his only remaining player of any value after losing A-chan for the year.
38:04The entirety of the trade negotiation was the team receiving Bowers sending a screenshot of the trade proposal and Doofus replying, quote, sure, why not?
38:12End quote. While no collusion, Owen 3 Doofus has admittedly packed it in and is changing the dynamics of the league by
38:19flippantly trading away his best player for roughly one-fourth the quarter of his value, based on Dave's trade chart.
38:26Asked to explain his thought process, Doofus said he looked at the offer for five seconds before accepting and suggested we just veto it if we want.
38:35After many years of threatening to do so, he also announced his retirement from the league at the end of the year.
38:42The manager acquiring Bowers has announced that he too will retire if the trade is vetoed.
38:47Should the trade be vetoed and both managers ride off into retirement or should the trade be allowed to stand?
38:54Again, it was Travion Henderson and Jacoby Myers for Brock Bowers.
38:57Based on the leaving the league threats, bye, see ya.
39:01Yeah, no way that that trade should be allowed.
39:04Yeah, I understand that. That gives me that reaction too, Jamie.
39:07But I will say this. I don't like the idea of vetoing a trade when you've set a standard of you don't veto unless there's collusion.
39:16This is not collusion. This is an example of bad management.
39:20And I've talked about this in the past on Fantasy Cops.
39:23When you have a bad manager, the only option, in my opinion, you have is to kick that manager out of the league.
39:31And he's kicking himself out of the league. He's done with fantasy.
39:35It sucks that he's making this trade before he's done.
39:38But it's over. He made the trade. And that's part of anyone.
39:42The reality is anyone could have got to doofus.
39:45But this was the guy who got to doofus.
39:48With all due respect, I don't think this guy should be penalized for getting to doofus.
39:53These other managers should have got to doofus before this guy got to doofus.
39:58So that's how I view it. I think the trade stands.
40:02I don't agree. And I think you could still kick the other guy out.
40:06This is not a trade that's done in good faith, though.
40:10Exactly. This is not because he said whatever. I don't care.
40:13I'm quitting the league after like, how do you know that all of doofus's trades before this weren't done in good faith?
40:21I don't know that. But I do know that this one wasn't.
40:25You know, if doofus said, look, I think Travion Henderson is going to become the lead running back there and be great.
40:32I think the Jaguars might trade Brian Thomas Jr.
40:35and Jacoby Myers is going to be really good or whatever.
40:39Then I'd be like, you know what? Terrible trade.
40:42But I'll let it go through. He didn't care about this trade.
40:46He just said, fine, I'll do it. They can veto it.
40:49He's like, I'm out and I don't care. If you set this standard, how do you operate moving forward?
40:55That's the whole point of the no veto standard.
40:58It's because it sets a dry subject. This doesn't outwardly say collusion, but it also, there is a little underlying tone of
41:06it potentially because he's like, I'm done. Let me help somebody before I leave.
41:10Yeah, exactly. Sort of. But collusion would have to be like, he's getting a piece of the action.
41:16I don't think he's getting a piece of this.
41:19I'm surprised that you are on that. I think you're off here, Dan.
41:24I think you're, give me your badge. It's a tough spot.
41:27Give me your badge. I understand why you think I'm off because it is a tough spot.
41:33Nobody wants these crappy trades that balance the league.
41:36It's not that. It's that the guy made the trade just because.
41:40Listen, the correlation here is there's doofus in the fantasy league and doofus in the fantasy cops.
41:45So you can't let that go. Yeah. The trade, two to one, the fantasy cops say veto it.
41:51Last one here from Don. Don says, my stepdad told me this story was ridiculous enough that I needed to report it to the fantasy cops.
42:00Oh, I love that. Yeah, me too. I'm turning myself and seven of my friends in for judgment.
42:06Seven? It's in an eight team league. Eight team league.
42:09Did this be as good as, what was the guy we had?
42:13Uncle what? That was the best of all time.
42:16Oh, Ben, Ben, Ben Seth finally nailed it. He has a dentist mirror.
42:20He has a dentist mirror. What was it? Uncle Jim?
42:24What did he say? Uncle Jim. Yeah. All right.
42:27Let's start this one over. A dentist. I'm in an eight team league that was originally supposed to have 10 managers, but
42:34two people dropped out about two weeks before the draft.
42:37It's a pretty casual league. Three of the managers had never played fantasy football before.
42:42One had played fantasy basketball. One is a friend's girlfriend.
42:46Another one is our other girlfriend, whatever. Our other girlfriends.
42:49When the season started, our league settings had six of the eight teams making the playoffs.
42:54Remember, it was supposed to be a 10-team league, but the league started with six of the eight teams making the playoffs.
43:01I noticed it before the season, and my immediate thought was basically, that's a lot, but it gives the newer casual players a chance to stay involved.
43:10We drafted early, August 23rd, but by August 14th, we knew the other teams weren't going to join.
43:16So plenty of time for any of the managers to bring up concerns.
43:21Fast forward through week three. I am the only 0-3 team in this league.
43:25Suddenly, everyone notices that six teams out of eight make the playoffs, and they decide that we should vote to change the playoff format mid-season.
43:34I voted no. My argument was that everyone had the chance to review the league settings before we started.
43:40The commissioner could have changed it before the draft or before week one.
43:44Once the games count, I believe a major rule like playoff qualification should stay in place unless every manager agrees to change it.
43:52Honestly, I'm losing the vote seven to one, and I was accused of being selfish because obviously I'm the 0-3 team, and
43:59I benefit more than anyone from six playoff spots.
44:02One friend later pointed out that we had sent more than 300 texts in the group chat in under two hours with
44:09essentially everyone arguing against me while I defended keeping the original rule.
44:13So fantasy cops, I need a ruling. Am I abusing the no mid-season rule changes principle because I'm 0-3, or are my
44:20league mates in the wrong for trying to change a playoff rule three weeks into a season just because they finally noticed they didn't like it?
44:29Can't change it. So I have a different opinion on this.
44:33I know this is going to be unpopular. I think that a rule can't change if it impacts how you would have
44:40drafted or how you would have managed your team.
44:43I do not think this specific rule impacts how you would have drafted or managed your team, and thus it really impacts nothing.
44:51So I think the reality is they technically just didn't change it, but they meant to change it intent-wise.
44:57Obviously, this is what the other seven are arguing here.
45:00This is your worst fantasy cops show ever. You are on suspension.
45:04I mean, this is horrible. First of all, what if I saw that six of eight teams made the playoffs and I decided, you know what?
45:13I'll take Josh Jacobs. I'll take Jordan Tyson. I'll play the long game here.
45:17It could have impacted my draft strategy. Fine. You've made a good enough case that it could impact the game.
45:24What the hell is this, Mel? It's a flimsy case.
45:27Look at this comment. It barely impacts the game.
45:30Look, this always happens in my leagues. No one ever wants to change your up.
45:35The rule was set. You can't change anything. No, no, no, no.
45:39I get it, and I understand the technicality side of it, but some of these things are not impacted at all.
45:46If these guys talked all year, we want the playoffs to be there.
45:50Yeah, but if it, and the guy forgets to do it, like, if it was week one, I can see the argument for it.
45:58They're three weeks into the season. But what does it change?
46:02What actually does it change? Just the long game thing with Josh Jacobs.
46:06What else? Who really cares? They care. They want it to be a certain way.
46:11Then they should have paid more attention to it at the start of the season.
46:16I know, but why can't they do it? My whole point is like, I get that.
46:22It makes no difference. What's the negative to changing it now?
46:25It makes. One Josh Jacobs thing. Four to six makes no difference, because here's why.
46:30Well, it does. I mean, it's tough for to get to the championship.
46:34But if you do a four-team playoff, you're doing a two-week playoff.
46:38If you're doing a six-team playoff, you're doing a three-week playoff.
46:42Sometimes you do the four-team, and you just do an extra regular season week.
46:47Yeah, exactly. And you do your playoffs in weeks 16 and 17.
46:51If you do a six-team playoff, the first two teams get a bye, and then you've got your four teams.
46:57So it really doesn't really change that much, in my opinion.
47:01You're getting an extra week of playoffs, but I don't know.
47:05It doesn't screw anyone. I don't really see the difference here.
47:08You just changed it for next year. You screwed it up.
47:12You changed it for next year. I agree. I guess.
47:15Dan, just horrible. All right. Dan has to leave on a bad note.
47:19I mean, on a bad note. Your worst fantasy copy.
47:23Give me a good note. Give me a good note.
47:26I don't know. You give me a good note.
47:29What do you have for us today? Nothing much.
47:32I don't have any good notes right now. I mean, the Giants, maybe.
47:36Breeland Allen or Aaron Jones? We'll go Aaron Jones.
47:39Okay. There you go. Here's a good note for you.
47:43There we go. I'm seeing Dan here. Not all rule changes are created equal.
47:47Fantasy is fun. It was an error. Just fix it.
47:51That's how I kind of look at it. Thank you.
47:54Yeah, but if fantasy is fun, more playoff teams are better.
47:57We don't need technical out every situation in my mind, but it is what it is.
48:03I'm trying to think of my it doesn't really make a difference thing, and if that made any sense.
48:09Because it made sense in my head, but when I spoke it, it didn't really make any sense.
48:15What was it? Dan's mirror is blinding me right now.
48:18Oh, this is the mirror. I see it now.
48:21That's not a mirror. It's just this thing. Come on, Jamie.
48:25Come on. All right, boys. Have a good weekend.
48:28All right, Dan. Go Badgers. Go Badgers. Four. All right, we'll take a break.
48:33Did we take our second break? I don't think we did.
48:36We'll take our second break and come back with Apple Podcast questions, Spotify, and YouTube on Fantasy Football today.

49:13We recently took a trip to Kansas City to catch a football game, and we made a full weekend out of it.
49:20We spent some time exploring the city, made sure to get some classic Kansas City barbecue, and of course, headed to Arrowhead Stadium to take in the game.
49:29Between tailgating the crowd and the energy inside the stadium, it was an awesome experience.
49:34There's just something about a game weekend. Great food, great football, and getting to experience it all together, made it a trip to remember.
49:42But while I was surrounded by fans taking in the atmosphere like I was, what hit me was just how many people
49:50were making a weekend out of it in Kansas City like I was, needing a place to hang their head after a night of tailgating and celebrating.
49:59For the local Kansas City folks or anyone who lives in a stadium city, football season is a perfect time to consider listing your space on Airbnb.
50:07Especially if you have travel plans yourself, why let your home sit idle while you're away?
50:13You can help meet the demand when a big game or concert comes to your town and give travelers that home away
50:20from home they need to really experience their trip to the fullest.
50:24It is such a practical way to earn extra money that can go right toward funding the next road trip or covering upcoming household bills.
50:32Your home might be worth more than you think.
50:35Find out how much at airbnb.com slash host. We got a lot of feedback.
50:40I wish Dan were still here. We got a lot of feedback on what we said about the Beatles last week.
50:47Oh, yeah. So we have one in the comments, but I guess I won't read it.
50:52But this is from, in the Apple Podcast comments, this one is from T6 Rain Man.
50:57Who would I cut first to make space on my bench in 2026?
51:02Would I cut Josh Jacobs, Jordan Mason, Zach Charbonnet, or Emmitt Johnson?
51:06Huh. That is tough. Is it Dynasty League? No.
51:09He says he's a novice player. So who's the most cuttable here?
51:13Jacobs, Mason, Charbonnet, or Emmitt Johnson? So I had to cut Emmitt Johnson in one league because I was stuck.
51:19And the reason I did it, or I'm sorry, I'm planning to do it, is because the Chiefs are going to buy this in week five.
51:28So in the event that Johnson doesn't do anything in week four, or God willing, Ken Walker doesn't get hurt, I can
51:35go pick up Emmitt Johnson most likely in a week of the potential guys.
51:40Like if we find out today or early next week that Jacobs is, you know, suspension is going to kick in and
51:47be six games and he's playing in week seven, whatever the case may be, whatever number you want to associate to it,
51:54like he's going to be added in a heartbeat.
51:57You're just in one of those tough roster crunch situations.
52:01You can't drop Charbonnet right now because he's going to get added immediately.
52:05I would drop Jordan Mason. Yeah, that's probably going.
52:08I just, you know, I don't know when he's coming back.
52:11It could be just a couple weeks, but I'm not sure he's going to have that much fantasy value.
52:18So if these guys are all on your bench, I'd drop Mason instead of Johnson.
52:23Like Johnson's a league winner, potentially. I guess Mason could be.
52:26Like Aaron Jones is pretty awesome. So maybe Mason could be too.
52:30If Jones got hurt. No, that makes the most sense is Mason.
52:34Okay. This is from Carson. I need some trade advice in a one quarterback four point for passing touchdown dynasty league.
52:41Assuming Tyler Shuck has another great week. Oh, damn it.
52:45This is from last week. Is it crazy to trade Shuck and Travion Henderson for James Cook in a dynasty league?
52:51You're giving it super flex. Yeah, no. He has pretty.
52:55He has pretty. He'd trade Shuck and Travion for James Cook.
52:58I mean, if it's a one QB league, I would do that in a minute.
53:03It's a dynasty league though. Just so what? Okay.
53:06I mean, James Cook's not going away anytime soon.
53:09Yeah. That's all I got from Apple podcast this week.
53:13Sorry. I do have a lot of Spotify questions though.
53:16And here they are. Who do you feel better about rest of season?
53:20Tootin or Scadaboo? Tootin. Uh, Cooter Garza Jones says no mention of Shannon Sharp in the tight end conversation.
53:27Unbelievable. Yeah, he's, he's up there. I, the, the fourth guy is debatable.
53:31I think there's three that are locked in, at least for me.
53:35It's, uh, Kelsey Gronk and Gonzalez. Sharp's up there.
53:38Um, um, Shard's up there. Kellen Winslow's up there.
53:41Kellen Winslow's a senior. Um, Ozzie Newsom's up there.
53:44Somebody mentioned, uh, Jason Witten. You want to put him in the conversation?
53:48Sure. More longevity. I don't think so, but you know, great player, but no.
53:53Antonio Gates. You know, there, there's, there's lots of great tight ends.
53:57Okay. I asked Google and Google's AI response. Top five tight ends of all time.
54:02Well, it's four. Okay. But they gave me five.
54:05Tony Gonzalez, Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelsey, Antonio Gates, Shannon Sharp.
54:08Okay. Let me ask it. Who is on the Mount Rushmore of tight ends?
54:13Tony Gonzalez, Robert Kowski, Travis Kelsey, and Kellen Winslow.
54:15So not very consistent here. I'm telling you there's three locks.
54:19Now, apparently according to Google, George Kittle was asked this question or something similar on the new heights podcast.
54:25And Kittle said, Gonzalez, Gronkowski, Kelsey, and Dallas Clark.
54:28Interesting. I think Kittle is, is very close to being on.
54:32I mean, he's so good. Um, anyway, Kittle will be in the conversation.
54:36I mean, the reason we were asked or this came up was could Brock Bowers have Travis Kelsey's career?
54:43Yeah. Yeah. Uh, all right. Let's grade a trade here from Lance.
54:47Give Omari and Hampton get Rasheed Rice. Give Omari and Hampton get Rasheed Rice.
54:51B minus. That means it's a good trade. Anything higher than a C is a good trade.
54:57From Mason. I traded Devante Smith, Aaron Jones, and Luther Burden.
55:00Devante Smith, Aaron Jones, Luther Burden. For Chase Brown and Jalen Waddell.
55:04A. From Sarah. Start or sit? Pick three. Well, she had Devante Smith and three other options.
55:10So start the other three. Oh, no, no, no.
55:13Pick three. Neighbors, Christian Watson, Burden, and Josh Downs.
55:16Who are you sitting? Just sitting one? Yeah. I'm sitting neighbors.
55:20From Ramseys. Should I start DJ Moore or Michael Wilson this week?
55:24Wilson. What if Christian Gonzalez is out? Wilson. From Jack.
55:27Do I trade Swift and Debo Samuel for Scadaboo and Pickens?
55:31Swift and Debo Samuel for Scadaboo and Pickens. Yes.
55:34Yeah, I think so too. From Mario. Rasheed Rice, Matthew Golden, Abuka, Luther Burden.
55:38Start two. Rasheed Rice, Golden, Abuka, Burden. Rice and Golden.
55:41Yes, sir. Golden Rice. That should be something, right?
55:44That's really good fried rice the other day. Love fried rice.
55:48Thank you for your Spotify comments. And Apple Podcasts, Spotify, anywhere you can review our show.
55:53It would be awesome if you could leave us a five-star review.
55:57Tell people why you love the show. Tell your friends.
56:01All that stuff. Let's read some questions from the chat here to finish things off.
56:06Would you drop Dontabian Wicks or Romo Dunze to pick up Zach Charbonnet?
56:10Drop Dontabian Wicks or Romo Dunze to pick up Zach Charbonnet.
56:14What if you didn't anticipate needing Wicks in the next two weeks or so?
56:18Then you drop Wicks. Okay. So yeah, look at your roster and figure out, are you going to start Wicks?
56:25But I don't know how long this entry is going to be for Smith.
56:29Yeah, it's true. I got offered Puka and Baker Mayfield in a 10-team, full PPR, Dynasty, Superflex, Best Ball League for Hertz and my late 2027 first.
56:38I smashed accept. So he gave up Hertz and a late 2027 first for Puka and Baker.
56:44What do you think? Love it. You know, I gave a bold prediction on a different podcast.
56:50Actually, I may have said it on ours too.
56:53Before the season started, that this will be Jalen Hertz's last year as a starting quarterback in the NFL.
56:59What do you think about that? That would suck, but I could see it happen.
57:04Yeah, it'd be pretty surprising to me, but I think the Eagles might get sick of him.
57:09Some other team would maybe jump on that though.
57:12Would you trade Hampton and Valle for Tootin and Neighbors?
57:16Yes. Are you basically just trying to get whatever you can for Amari and Hampton right now?
57:21Well, you're trading him when his value is probably at its lowest.
57:25So I wouldn't say I'm giving him away, but I also think you're buying low on Neighbors, which is a good bet.
57:33I also think that Hampton's value might get even lower after this week.
57:37I have a real fear of him scoring like 3.5 fantasy points.
57:4112 carries for 28 yards and one catch. Obviously, he could always score.
57:45But this Seahawks defense is basically the worst matchup for Amari and Hampton, in my opinion.
57:50Should I accept Jamar Chase, Hampton, and Monongai giving up Barkley, London, and Golden?
57:55Chase, Hampton, Monongai giving up Barkley, London, and Golden?
57:58No. Yeah, I wouldn't do it. Kenyon, Sadiq, or Tucker Craft this week?
58:02Craft. Lamar Jackson or Jared Goff? Six point. Lamar.
58:05St. Brown for London, Raymond, and Henderson? Which side do you like better?
58:10I don't think London's going to be far off from St.
58:13Brown, so I might take the... If you need extra players.
58:17Henderson's so interesting. I mean, you cannot use him right now, but he would be so good if there were an injury.
58:24Yeah. Tucker or Sadiq? We just did that, so start...
58:28Yeah. And start three. McMillan, Pickens, Higgins, or Wicks?
58:30McMillan, Pickens, Higgins. Yeah, Wicks is not in that conversation.
58:34Yeah, okay. Hampton or Harvey? Half PPR. I still go Hampton.
58:37Yeah, me too. Tate or Abuka? Dynasty. Ooh. Abuka.
58:40I traded Ashton Genti for Jeremiah Love in PPR.
58:43Grade the trade. B+. Do I trade Tootin and Olave?
58:47Did we do this one? For Chase Brown and Waddle.
58:50I believe we did. All right, something close to it.
58:53I would... It wasn't quite this. Yeah, didn't Dan say...
58:57Or no, it was different. No, it wasn't this...
59:00It was a different Olave trade. Yeah, yeah. I think I would rather have the Tootin and Olave side.
59:06That's a tough one. Should I propose trading Chuba Hubbard for Chase Brown?
59:10Chuba Hubbard for Chase Brown. I'd rather have Chase Brunsel.
59:13Tyler Shuck or Trevor Lawrence? Shuck. Sadiq or Waller?
59:16Waller. I have Devante Smith and Puka Nakua. Well, I think Puka's going to play.
59:21But if Puka doesn't play, would you play Bill or Woody Marks or Wicks or Malik Washington?
59:27I'd play Bill. And then half PPR, Hampton, Bill or Travion?
59:31Oh, that's full PPR. Hampton, Bill or Travion? Bill.
59:34Should I trade Devante Adams for Bejal Tootin? To me, that's a wash.
59:38Just depends on what you need. I wouldn't do that.
59:41But it's close. Jacoby Myers or Chris Bell? Myers.
59:44If Aaron Jones has a good game against Miami, is he a sell high or a hold?
59:50I think he's a sell high just because Mason, it's a thumb injury.
59:54Unless his situation's that bad and he's going to miss more than the next two games, right?
60:00Because this is week two into it. Yeah. I would see if you could get something great for him, sure.
60:06Oh, he must have left early in a game, right?
60:10No, Mason played week one. I think this is week three.
60:13Missed week two and three, right? Yeah, so he's already missed two games.
60:18This will be three. No, he played week two.
60:21He did not. He did not. He got hurt after week one?
60:25He got hurt during week one. Yeah, he's been inactive two straight games.
60:29Okay, so yeah, definitely saw it. And then they have a bye in week six.
60:34So I would think Mason will be back in week seven, just to guess.
60:38But that would be my guess. All right, a few more.
60:42Trade high on Christian Watson or keep him rest of season?
60:46Keep him. If Ladd is out, who is the least nasty choice?
60:50Trey Harris, Xavier Hutchinson, or Ted Hurst? Trey Harris.
60:53You know, they don't have to start with letter H.
60:56You can look at other letters. And rest of season, Goff or Nix?
61:00That's Goff. And is Jalen Wright a must pickup?
61:03I think so, you know, just to see what he is.
61:07He's not Devon H. But he's closer to H.
61:10And then Oli Gordon is. So hopefully you get a few 11, 12 PPR point games.
61:15And that could be a flex. Good luck, everybody, in week four.
61:19We'll talk to you Sunday morning at 8.30 a.m.
61:22And then again at noon Eastern to answer your start or sit questions.
61:26Have a great weekend. Let's get a win. This is Fantasy Football Today.
61:31Talk to you soon. College football season is Modelo season.
61:34There's nothing quite like a college football Saturday. The fight songs, the rivalries, the traditions passed down from one generation of fans to the next.
61:42And of course, they're settling in for a full day of football with Chris Modelo.
61:47Because Saturdays are for the gridiron and Cervasus. College football is built on tradition.
61:52And no one knows tradition like Modelo. From the fan quakes that shake the stadium to the rivalry trophies that mean everything
61:59year after year, these traditions are what make Saturday special.
62:03So if you're listening to this, consider it your sign.
