A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury27:08

Could practice this week with his practice window potentially opening, though practicing does not guarantee he will play.

Insight page

Aaron Jones

PositiveInjury27:00

Confirmed healthy and available; team has a bye week coming up.

Insight page

Aaron Rodgers

PositiveProjection6:26

Ranked as top quarterback for long-term value despite facing Tampa Bay this week; has performed well in recent games with three touchdowns across last three contests against Cincinnati, Cleveland (28 points two weeks ago), and Indianapolis; two of three recent matchups were favorable defenses, suggesting matchup-proof performance.

Insight page
PositiveProjection6:30

Three straight games with 28+ fantasy points; locked in and playing fantastic; recommended as third waiver priority despite not-easiest matchup against Tampa Bay; alternative Kirk Cousins has better matchup against Bills but Rodgers' recent form is elite.

Insight page
PositiveProjection42:03

Aaron Rodgers was named as one of Jamie's top three quarterbacks to add on the waiver wire this week, indicating a positive projection for streaming or pickup value.

Insight page
PositiveProjection61:10

Rodgers is preferred over Jacoby Brissett for both this week and rest of season. The source also discusses Rodgers as a viable option compared to Jameis Winston and Kirk Cousins.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveValue64:47

Baker Mayfield is at 44% roster percentage and the source recommends not adding him yet, suggesting he is not a priority waiver wire target at this time.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveRole47:25

Backup running back who plays a lot and should be rostered; had a touchdown prior to this week and is part of a group of handcuff backs entering bye-week territory who could become relevant.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

PositiveUsage9:44

Strange has been the underneath/check-down target for Trevor Lawrence, recording eight targets in each of his last two games; he gets looks when Lawrence sees zone coverage and when pressured, plus quick design throws; available in half of CBS leagues and viable for at least one week against Houston despite the tough matchup.

Insight page
PositiveRole39:30

The source's favorite tight end to pick up this week; Strange has received 8 targets in each of the last two games, though it's a one-week play due to Jacksonville's bye after Week 6; the role and target volume are attractive.

Insight page
PositiveProjection42:15

Brenton Strange was named as one of Jamie's top three tight ends to add on the waiver wire this week, indicating a positive projection for pickup value.

Insight page
PositiveValue60:15

Strange is presented as a viable tight end replacement for Loveland in roster crunch situations where managers are carrying injured players without IR spots. The source suggests Strange could help your team more than Loveland in a one-for-one tight end swap, though Strange has a bye next week.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

PositiveRole47:35

Backup running back who plays a lot and should be rostered; had a three-touchdown game and is part of a group entering bye-week territory who could become relevant.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeInjury25:00

Caleb Williams could play this week, indicating he is progressing from injury or illness.

Insight page

Cam Ward

NegativeDepth Chart24:35

Robert Sala has committed to Cam Ward as the starter for the remainder of the season.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveValue60:55

Tate receives a drop-o-meter rating of only 4/10 when compared to Khalif Raymond, indicating the source views Tate as a more holdable asset. The low drop rating suggests Tate has more fantasy appeal than Raymond.

Insight page

Carson Beck

NegativeDepth Chart24:47

Arizona could make Carson Beck active as a backup quarterback option, with potential to play if Cam Ward is unavailable.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeInjury27:18

Suffered a quad injury last Thursday night; status for this week uncertain, which creates opportunity for Jake Ferguson.

Insight page
NegativeInjury67:00

Missed four games last year (technically three, but barely played in one other); when he was out, Jake Ferguson was great and Floyd didn't do much with only one good game, suggesting Ferguson could be the beneficiary if Lamb misses time this year.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveValue59:00

Source discusses a potential trade scenario where Chuba Hubbard is exchanged for Devontae Adams, noting this type of one-for-one trade probably helps the manager receiving Hubbard more than the one receiving Adams, particularly for teams needing running back help.

Insight page

Colby Parkinson

NegativeRole40:31

Parkinson played last night for the Rams but is not the primary target; Higby is the clear starter while Ferguson is out.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeMatchup10:43

Loveland is cited as one of the quality tight ends the Jets have faced this season while maintaining their fifth-best tight end defense ranking.

Insight page
NegativeRole60:06

Loveland has produced only one good game so far this season and the source gives him a drop-o-meter rating of 7/10, indicating significant concern. The source wants to see one more game with Caleb before dropping him, but acknowledges that in roster crunch situations, Brenton Strange could be a better immediate option. If forced to choose between Loveland and Kincaid, the source would start Kincaid.

Insight page

Cooper Kupp

PositiveSleeper67:30

Had three targets in a recent game; is the second choice to target among Eagles receivers in non-PPR formats if DeVante Smith doesn't play, behind Jalen Coker.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

NegativeRole10:09

Kincaid is being abandoned by fantasy managers looking to pivot at the tight end position, suggesting declining confidence in his role or production.

Insight page
PositiveRole57:17

Route rate unlikely to remain this high for the rest of the season; when DJ Moore returns from shoulder injury, he becomes another option for Josh Allen instead of Kincaid, reducing target opportunities. In 10-team leagues, Kincaid is droppable; in 12-team leagues, only drop if in major roster crunch. Source notes he's scored less than 4 PPR points in three of the last weeks.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup57:23

Good matchup opportunity against Raiders defense this week; similar to Hunter Henry and Eli Rattan who both performed well against this defense. Source recommends holding Kincaid one more week to see if he capitalizes on this favorable matchup.

Insight page
PositiveProjection60:20

When forced to choose between Kincaid and Loveland, the source would start Kincaid, citing familiarity with 'the Kincaid movie' and expressing faith in him despite some nervousness. Kincaid is preferred over Loveland in a head-to-head tight end comparison.

Insight page

Darren Waller

NegativeValue40:04

Waller is ranked third among tight ends to pick up this week, just ahead of Hunter Henry, though the source notes caution flags around his low target share (13%), which typically makes it difficult to win at the tight end position in fantasy.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeInjury26:58

Out with a groin injury; status unclear for upcoming games.

Insight page
NegativeInjury45:46

Expected to miss a few weeks with a groin injury, creating opportunity for backup Woody Marks in shallow leagues.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeInjury27:15

Will miss a few weeks with a hamstring injury; extended absence expected.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveInjury25:40

Devontae Smith could return this week against the Panthers, providing a boost to the Eagles' receiving corps.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeRole21:50

The source notes that if something happens to Metcalf, Bernard would be in an even better spot in the Seahawks receiving core, highlighting Metcalf's role as the primary target and Bernard's upside contingent on Metcalf's health.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

NegativeDepth Chart25:04

Practice window is now open for Sampson; he could be an alternative to Jaleel McLaughlin as the replacement running back, depending on team's trust level and whether they pursue external options.

Insight page
NegativeDepth Chart26:44

Dylan Sampson's practice window is now open, meaning he could be activated and potentially compete for playing time at running back, offering an alternative to Jaleel McLaughlin as a waiver wire target.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

NegativeUsage10:21

Fannin Jr. was open frequently in the Browns-Jets game but did not receive targets; the source notes this as context for the Jets' tight end defense strength.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

NegativeMatchup10:21

Henry faces the Jets, who are fifth-best against tight ends and have faced quality tight end competition (Harold Fannin Jr., Sam Laporta, Tucker Craft, Colson Loveland) without allowing a touchdown; the source expresses skepticism about relying on this matchup advantage despite the statistical profile.

Insight page
NegativeValue40:04

Hunter Henry is ranked just behind Darren Waller among tight ends to pick up this week, though the source does not provide specific reasoning for his ranking.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup57:35

Had a good game against Raiders defense, demonstrating that tight ends can succeed in this matchup. Source uses his performance as evidence that Dalton Kincaid should have similar opportunity this week.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveInjury28:42

No injury reports have surfaced; source considers this a good sign despite limping off late in the game.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

NegativeValue47:00

83% rostered in shallow leagues; listed as a quarterback waiver wire option despite not loving the upcoming schedule; throws the ball a lot and has potential to be benched at some point; recently scored 31.3 fantasy points and typically hovers in the 18–20% range.

Insight page
NegativeProjection61:10

Brissett is 83% rostered. The source prefers Aaron Rogers over Brissett for this week and rest of season, indicating Rogers is the better fantasy option.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

PositiveRole27:25

Don't drop Ferguson yet; he was excellent last year when CeeDee Lamb was injured, making him a valuable waiver wire target if Lamb misses time.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout48:43

Don't give up on him; mentioned as a tight end to hold despite recent struggles.

Insight page
PositiveValue67:00

Was great last year when CeeDee Lamb missed time; could be a beneficiary if Lamb misses games this year, making him a potential target for teams needing tight end depth.

Insight page

Jaleel McLaughlin

NegativeUsage25:59

Career average of 4.9 yards per carry over 228 carries (not a small sample size); if both McLaughlin and Dylan Sampson are active, McLaughlin could get more work, though team may not fully trust him as the primary replacement.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper26:18

Jaleel McLaughlin is available on the waiver wire in most leagues and could be a starting running back this week, particularly with other backs injured. However, the source cautions against assuming McLaughlin is the automatic replacement, as Dylan Sampson's practice window is now open and could also be in consideration.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

NegativeInjury67:20

Designated to return with a 21-day window; if he doesn't return within that window, he goes on the PUP list for the remainder of the year and cannot play; has until October 22nd or 23rd to return, which would allow him to be activated for week seven without rushing back for a Thursday game.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper67:30

Had eight targets and five catches for 63 yards in a recent game; is the preferred Eagles receiver to target in PPR if DeVante Smith doesn't play, with Cooper being the second choice in non-PPR formats.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

PositiveProjection29:31

Ranked second among quarterbacks; coming off two strong games with favorable matchup against New Orleans at home in Week 6.

Insight page
PositiveProjection42:03

Jameis Winston was named as one of Jamie's top three quarterbacks to add on the waiver wire this week, indicating a positive projection for streaming or pickup value.

Insight page
PositiveValue50:16

Available in over 80% of leagues; the source likes him more than typical, suggesting he has value as a streaming option.

Insight page

Jared Goff

NegativeProjection6:45

One of two prominent quarterbacks missing this week due to bye; impacts waiver quarterback strategy.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveRole26:54

Mike McCarthy acknowledged that Warren will continue to get work in the backfield despite Rico Dowdle being the primary back.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

NegativeProjection6:45

One of two prominent quarterbacks missing this week due to bye; impacts waiver quarterback strategy.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

NegativeValue3:15

The source dropped Jordan Addison to acquire Kendrick Bourne in one league and plans to attempt to re-acquire Addison, suggesting Addison remains a viable target despite the initial drop.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveRole47:57

Eligible to return after bye week and sounds like he's going to step back into a prominent role, not as the starter but as somebody who will share time with Aaron Jones at receiver.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeRole3:30

The source dropped Josh Jacobs for Marvin Harrison, citing uncertainty about Jacobs' return timeline from suspension. The source states 'We're about to get to week six. This is the point of the year where we thought Jacobs would be just about done with the suspension and coming back to Green Bay, and we haven't heard anything.' The source prefers to roster a player known to be playing over one with an unclear return date, making Jacobs his most droppable player.

Insight page
NegativeRole8:00

Return timeline uncertain; unclear if he will instantly go right to starting lineup and be phenomenal for Packers; uncertainty makes Marshawn Lloyd worth considering as running back pickup.

Insight page
NegativeValue49:28

88% rostered; available to pick up in some leagues; not going to be in projections but worth checking on as a potential waiver wire add.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

NegativeRole60:27

Raymond receives a drop-o-meter rating of 9-10/10, indicating the source wants to drop him. However, the source acknowledges wanting to see one more game with Caleb before making that decision. The source would prefer Bernard over Raymond but is willing to give Raymond one more week to prove himself with Caleb playing.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveProjection42:12

Keenan Allen was named as one of the top three wide receivers to add on the waiver wire this week, indicating a positive projection for pickup value.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup66:48

Facing Tennessee in week 6, which is a pretty good matchup for the Chargers wide receiver.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

PositiveValue31:34

Kendry Miller is ranked as a top running back waiver wire option this week; one the source ranks him first among Pierce and Lloyd, while another ranks him third, making him a viable target if Woody Marks is unavailable.

Insight page

Kendrick Bourne

PositiveValue3:00

Kendrick Bourne is taken in every league that the source analysts are in, indicating he is a top priority waiver wire target. The source dropped Xavier Worthy to acquire Bourne in multiple leagues, suggesting Bourne is preferred over Worthy at this stage.

Insight page
PositiveValue3:09

Kendrick Bourne has been claimed in every league that the source analysts are in, indicating strong waiver wire demand and perceived value as a must-add player.

Insight page
NegativeValue3:11

The source recommends 7% to 8% FAB on Bourne, lower than Bernard due to less certain top-30 rest-of-season upside; contingent on Jacoby Brissette remaining starter.

Insight page
PositiveRole6:30

In unbelievable spot with no Marvin Harrison; five for 70 in first game without Harrison; two games this season with eight targets and two games with 12+ PPR points; winning on middle-of-field routes with slants and in-breakers; good speed and likely a piece of Cardinals offense rest of season; under 10% rostered.

Insight page
PositiveUsage9:15

Bourne is operating in the short area and getting consistent targets; Aaron Rodgers is playing well and Mike McCarthy has historically favored receivers of this type, supporting short-term viability as a waiver wire target.

Insight page
NegativeRole23:01

Bourne has secured the starting job in Arizona's offense but faces headwinds from a poor offensive line and Carson Beck at quarterback. At 31 years old, Bourne is transitioning to a brand-new role with a 60% plus slot rate—significantly higher than anything he's experienced previously. While slot receivers historically age well (citing Keenan Allen, Larry Fitzgerald, Julian Edelman), there's a pathway to top-30 upside, though it's less clear than Bernard's opportunity.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

NegativeInjury28:49

Has a concussion and should be dropped; ran only 18% of routes in the first half while Mason Taylor ran 75%, indicating reduced role even before injury.

Insight page
NegativeValue61:05

Sadiq receives a drop-o-meter rating of 9-10/10, indicating the source views him as a strong drop candidate.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveMatchup48:29

Had three pass plays negated by penalties and scored a touchdown; much easier opponent coming up against the Raiders; should be rostered in easier situation to manage this week since it's not a primetime game and you can figure out if DJ Moore will play.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveMatchup7:00

Great matchup this week against Bills who stink and got beat up; alternative to Aaron Rodgers for waiver quarterback pickup; long-term outlook uncertain and may get replaced by Fernando Mendoza at some point.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup7:21

Ranked third among quarterbacks with best matchup of the three against Buffalo; however, carries risk of benching if Buffalo builds a large lead given Cousins' recent poor performance (first bad game last week) and Vikings' season struggles; Mendoza could see action in blowout scenarios.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup7:21

Cousins faces Buffalo, which has allowed at least three touchdown passes to three different quarterbacks this season; Cousins scored 15.7 fantasy points in his last game before being pulled, and had scored 26+ fantasy points in three straight games against the Chargers with 19.8 points in every game before this, suggesting strong bounce-back potential against Buffalo's vulnerable pass defense.

Insight page
PositiveProjection42:03

Kirk Cousins was named as one of Jamie's top three quarterbacks to add on the waiver wire this week, indicating a positive projection for streaming or pickup value.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup61:27

Cousins has a phenomenal matchup against the Bills. The source notes that three quarterbacks have thrown at least three touchdown passes against Buffalo, and Cousins had success before his recent poor game, making him an attractive streaming option.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveBreakout49:07

Best game of the season was last week in a three-game sample size with Michael Penix; in two of those three games he's been more involved and more productive, suggesting he may be building towards something reliable.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveProjection14:34

Murray is entering his bye week but has an excellent schedule ahead: Colts, Lions, Bills, and Packers. He had an impressive game running the ball without his left tackle and two starting offensive linemen, and threw a strong touchdown pass to Justin Jefferson, demonstrating upside even without his full receiving corps of Jefferson, Addison, and Hawkinson available in any single game.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveInjury25:10

Lamar Jackson is doing better and may provide a significant boost at the quarterback position this week.

Insight page

Malik Washington

NegativeProjection66:49

Scoring 10-11 PPR fantasy points per game; however, the Eagles could add more receivers like Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell, and Jordan Tyson could return at some point, which could limit his opportunities.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveProjection48:53

Should have been in the playoffs; has a touchdown and dropped one; not playing well but still has an opportunity to give 10 or more PPR points, which he's done in two of his last four games.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

PositiveRole8:00

Available in 42% of CBS leagues; worth pickup if you need running back depth; Josh Jacobs return timeline uncertain and unclear if Jacobs will instantly be phenomenal for Packers; Lloyd has favorable upcoming schedule with Dallas, Detroit, and Carolina.

Insight page
PositiveValue8:09

Marshawn Lloyd is ranked as a top running back waiver wire option this week; one the source ranks him first among Pierce and Miller, while another ranks him second behind Miller, making him a contested but viable target if Woody Marks is unavailable.

Insight page
NegativeUsage11:05

Lloyd averaged 3.1 yards per carry against the Bears but looked good and the Packers offensive line performed well; he was part of a two-back rotation with Caleb Johnson (who had seven garbage-time carries) and Pierre Strong handling passing downs; the source dropped him in multiple leagues but plans to try to get him back, noting improved line play and positive feedback from Jordan Love about his physicality and vision.

Insight page
PositiveValue20:14

The source suggests 15% to 20% FAB spend on Lloyd depending on running back desperation level, positioning him as a secondary waiver target behind Marks.

Insight page
PositiveValue30:45

Available in 42% of CBS leagues and about half of ESPN leagues; favorable schedule moving forward makes him an attractive waiver wire target at running back.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveRole3:30

The source acquired Marvin Harrison on waivers, prioritizing him over Josh Jacobs because 'I know Marvin Harrison is going to play,' indicating confidence in his availability and role clarity compared to Jacobs' uncertain return timeline.

Insight page
NegativeInjury6:30

Out; his absence benefited Kendrick Bourne who had five for 70 in first game without him; unclear if Bourne saw huge uptick in routes or if Cardinals just used someone else to run sideline routes instead.

Insight page
PositiveValue27:34

Source prefers Woody Marks and Bernard over Marvin Harrison Jr. this week and the next couple weeks, suggesting Harrison Jr. will struggle early with the Texans and is not the priority waiver target compared to running back options.

Insight page
PositiveValue46:18

Mentioned as a shallow-league waiver wire option available in many leagues; positioned among players to target for shallow league rosters.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

PositiveUsage28:56

Ran 75% of routes in the first half, indicating he is the primary tight end target; significant role advantage over Kenyon Sadiq.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

NegativeUsage2:30

Matthew Stafford has thrown 50 or more pass attempts for three consecutive weeks for the first time in his career, indicating elevated volume and workload.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

NegativeInjury24:19

Michael Penick Jr. is dealing with injured ribs and the team is hoping he can play this week against the Bears.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeRole6:00

Michael Pittman's absence opened up opportunity for Jeremy Bernard, who recorded nine targets in his first game without Pittman, indicating a shift in target distribution within the offense.

Insight page
NegativeInjury6:15

Out for at least the next couple of weeks; his absence created featured role opportunity for Jeremy Bernard.

Insight page
NegativeInjury21:21

The source notes Pittman could return at some point from a foot injury and be a factor in the Colts receiving core, creating uncertainty around Bernard's role if Pittman returns to health.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveRole47:47

Backup running back expected to see increased touches; Clint Kubiak stated after the game that Washington needs to get more touches as Ashton Gent is dealing with an ankle injury, suggesting Washington could become more relevant soon.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveRole39:39

Friermuth is the second-ranked tight end to pick up; he's shown an uptick in red zone opportunities with Pittman and Roman Wilson out, and has already logged more games this year with a 75% route rate than he had in all of 2025; favorable schedule ahead (Tampa, New Orleans, Cleveland).

Insight page
PositiveProjection42:15

Pat Freiermuth was named as one of Jamie's top three tight ends to add on the waiver wire this week, indicating a positive projection for pickup value.

Insight page

Pierre Strong Jr.

NegativeRole11:34

Strong is the designated passing-downs back in the Packers' two-back rotation with Marshawn Lloyd.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeUsage41:25

Puka Nakua's target volume is extraordinarily high; the source notes he is getting targeted at a ridiculous rate, with Stafford throwing 50 pass attempts in three consecutive games for the first time in his career. The source expresses concern about the sustainability of this workload, joking about whether Stafford's arm or Puka's body will give out first, but the sheer volume of targets underscores elite usage.

Insight page
PositiveInjury59:31

Playing with some type of pre-hernia condition; if he misses time, Devontae Adams could elevate to WR3 status, but his continued presence limits Adams' target share significantly below last year's 24% mark.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveRole25:34

Expected to be the primary running back for the team this week; source expresses hope that Judkins will be the featured back come Sunday.

Insight page
NegativeInjury25:55

Quinchon Judkins was in a walking boot but is apparently day-to-day, suggesting his status could change rapidly.

Insight page

Raheim Sanders

NegativeDepth Chart25:20

If healthy, Sanders could be considered as a replacement running back option, though team may pursue external options or prefer other candidates like Sampson or McLaughlin.

Insight page
NegativeInjury26:08

Raheem Sanders left with a hip injury and is day-to-day.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeInjury38:41

Rice has an injury track record that warrants awareness; he attempted to return in Week 4 before being re-injured, and should be rostered despite the Chiefs' receiver depth concerns and the need to find interim solutions.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

PositiveRole26:58

Confirmed as the primary back for the team; McCarthy's acknowledgment of Jalen Warren's continued work suggests Dowdle is the lead back.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeValue60:59

Harvey receives a drop-o-meter rating of 5/10, indicating moderate concern but not an immediate drop candidate.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

PositiveInjury6:00

Roman Wilson got hurt in the same game where Jeremy Bernard recorded nine targets, contributing to Bernard's increased role and target opportunity going forward.

Insight page
NegativeInjury6:15

Got hurt in game where Jeremy Bernard had nine targets; injury contributed to Bernard's featured role opportunity.

Insight page
NegativeInjury28:35

Has an injury; status and severity not detailed in the source.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

NegativeValue61:02

Dobbs receives a drop-o-meter rating of 3/10, indicating he is a hold with minimal drop risk.

Insight page

Russell Wilson

NegativeInjury21:18

The source cites Wilson's finger injury as a key uncertainty affecting Bernard's upside; the duration of the injury is unknown and could impact the Seahawks' passing game and Bernard's opportunity.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeMatchup10:43

Laporta is cited as one of the quality tight ends the Jets have faced this season while maintaining their fifth-best tight end defense ranking.

Insight page

Samaje Perine

PositiveSleeper66:46

Only 11% rostered; might get more work coming out of the Steelers' bye week, making him a potential waiver wire target for teams needing running back depth.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveInjury25:40

Saquon Barkley could return this week against the Panthers, providing a significant boost to the Eagles' running back room.

Insight page

Spencer Brown

NegativeInjury29:05

Left the game as right tackle for Buffalo; team did not slow down in his absence, suggesting adequate depth or replacement.

Insight page

Tua Tagovailoa

NegativeProjection64:25

Tua could start in waiver wire consideration, though the source suggests hoping for panic-driven availability rather than a strong endorsement.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeMatchup10:43

Craft is cited as one of the quality tight ends the Jets have faced this season while maintaining their fifth-best tight end defense ranking.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

PositiveProjection42:15

Tyler Higbee was named as one of Jamie's top three tight ends to add on the waiver wire this week, indicated by the phrase 'maybe Tyler Higby,' suggesting a positive projection for pickup value.

Insight page

Tyler Huntley

NegativeProjection64:21

Tyler Huntley may have had one of his best games in deep leagues, though the source expresses some uncertainty about whether it was truly his best performance.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

NegativeValue38:50

At 55% rostered, Hill is not recommended as a waiver wire pickup this week; the source expresses concern about civil suits and comments Hill made, creating uncertainty about his NFL future and making him a risky add.

Insight page

Will Shipley

NegativeInjury25:24

Will Shipley has a foot injury and will miss some time.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveValue4:30

Woody Marks is the headliner on the waiver wire this week. He is rostered in 72% of CBS leagues, 54% on Yahoo, and 57% on Sleeper, making him a priority waiver target despite high rostering rates on some platforms. The source identifies him as one of the two best running backs to acquire on waivers alongside Damian Pierce.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup5:15

Woody Marks faces the worst matchup in fantasy this week against Jacksonville, which allows the fewest yards per carry to running backs at 2.53 yards per carry. Despite being a top waiver priority, this matchup presents a significant downside for his Week 6 production.

Insight page
PositiveRole6:00

One of two most prominent guys to go get on waivers; recommended as running back option if desperate for depth.

Insight page
PositiveValue20:14

The source recommends spending north of 20% FAB on Marks if available, indicating strong waiver wire priority for running back-needy teams.

Insight page
PositiveValue27:34

Source prefers Marks over Marvin Harrison Jr. on waivers; Bernard will help sooner than Harrison Jr. this year, at least for the next couple weeks.

Insight page
PositiveValue45:06

Identified as the top shallow-league waiver wire target; 72% rostered in CBS sports leagues; positioned as the primary add given David Montgomery's expected multi-week groin injury absence.

Insight page
PositiveValue65:19

Woody Marks is identified as the top prize running back to target on waivers this week, ahead of other available options.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveValue3:00

The source dropped Xavier Worthy to acquire Kendrick Bourne, and explicitly states 'I think I'd rather have Worthy,' indicating regret about the drop and suggesting Worthy may have been undervalued relative to Bourne in the waiver priority.

Insight page
PositiveRole38:36

The source dismisses Worthy as a waiver wire target, noting that while he's had a couple of good games, the Chiefs' receiver room is complicated by Rice's injury track record and Thornton's absence; Worthy is not recommended as a priority pickup.

Insight page
PositiveValue46:18

Mentioned as a shallow-league waiver wire option available in many leagues; positioned among players to target for shallow league rosters.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

PositiveRole47:13

Should be 100% rostered despite not playing this week; eligible to return after short week, potentially available as early as week seven with a prominent role in the offense.

Insight page
NegativeInjury47:25

Charbonnet has been ruled out for this week and is likely out for the year after his practice window was opened; he is 84% rostered, making him unavailable on waivers for most leagues.

Insight page
PositiveValue47:27

Should be 100% rostered despite not playing this week; team has a short week which could affect his availability; positioned as a priority waiver wire add for shallow leagues.

0:19There's just something about a game weekend. Great food, great football, and getting to experience it all together made it a trip to remember.
0:26But while I was surrounded by fans taking in the atmosphere like I was, what hit me was just how many people
0:33were making a weekend out of it in Kansas City like I was, needing a place to hang their head after a night of tailgating and celebrating.
0:41For the local Kansas City folks, or anyone who lives in the stadium city, football season is a perfect time to consider listing your space on Airbnb.

2:14Get started today. This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
2:17Swap play! Can you believe this? It's a no idea.
2:20It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races and he stays at his feet.
2:25He's just going to go the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
2:30The waiver wire for week six. You know, I was thinking I could use a week where not putting in that many claims across all my leagues.
2:38The last two weeks have been very busy. Very busy Tuesdays.
2:41I don't think that's going to be this week.
2:44The not busy. I think it's going to be another one.
2:47I think it's going to be a third consecutive busy week.
2:50Just like Matthew Stafford has three consecutive weeks of 50 or more pass attempts for the first time in his career, by the way.
2:57This is going to be the third consecutive week with 50 or more waiver claims for Adam Azer.
3:02Just going to throw that out there. Good morning, Dave.
3:0550 or more waiver claims. Probably, yeah. I mean, yeah, like 12 leagues I'm putting claims in, I think.
3:11You should be good. You got Kendrick Bourne in like 10 leagues before he...
3:15You did. Yeah, Kendrick Bourne is taken in every league that Jamie and I are in.
3:20I'll say that. You know who I dropped for him was Xavier Worthy, I think.
3:24And I think I'd rather have Worthy. So I might have to...
3:28I think you should find a way to get both.
3:31I dropped Jordan Addison for him in one league, so I'll try and get Addison back.
3:35Wow. I dropped Josh Jacobs for Marvin Harrison. You dropped Jacobs?
3:39For Marvin Harrison, yes. What do you think... You said, oh, look what I got.
3:43What do you think is going to happen with Jacobs right now?
3:47I don't know. I know Marvin Harrison is going to play, and I would rather have him on my bench than Jacobs at this point.
3:54I don't think I would have done that. No, I wouldn't have done it.
3:58I did it. How bad are you going to be if, like, Josh Jacobs is back in a week?
4:04I'll be happy for everybody else that has Josh Jacobs.
4:07And I have Jacobs in a bunch of other leagues, too.
4:10So if it's one league where I lost Jacobs, it's not the end of the world.
4:15But we've heard boo from everybody about Jacobs so far.
4:17And we're about to get to week six. This is the point of the year where we thought Jacobs would be just
4:24about done with the suspension and coming back to Green Bay, and we haven't heard anything.
4:29Yeah. So I just – he was my most droppable player.
4:32Well, I would guess if you're – Wanted to speculate on Marvin Harrison?
4:36I would guess if you're in a league where Marvin Harrison was dropped, it's easy to drop Josh Jacobs.
4:41And I did it on Saturday. So this isn't like – I don't have a chance to get Jacobs back.
4:47But I'd rather take the player that I know is going to play over a player I don't know when he's going to play.
4:54Well, Woody Marks is the headliner on the waiver wire.
4:57But in our leagues, Jamie writes the waiver wire column, and he mostly focuses on players who are rostered in 65% of CBS leagues or fewer.
5:05Woody Marks is rostered in 72% of our leagues.
5:08However, on Yahoo, Woody Marks is 54% rostered. On Sleeper, he's 57% rostered.
5:11I don't have ESPN, but I imagine it's somewhere in that range too.
5:15So he's definitely part of this equation today, and we need to talk about him.
5:20What's funny is if you think Woody Marks and Damian Pierce might be the two best – maybe are the two best running backs to get.
5:27Woody Marks, definitely better option here. He's got the worst matchup in fantasy.
5:31He's going against a team, Woody Marks, this week that allows the fewest yards per carry to running backs.
5:37Jacksonville, 2.53 yards per carry to running backs. Damian Pierce, who I don't know how excited people are about him.
5:43He had 11 carries for 14 yards against those Jaguars last week.
5:46He's going up against a team that gives up the most yards per carry to running backs.
5:51The Carolina Panthers, 5.39 yards per carry. Kind of weighted by the Bears running backs in week one.
5:56But anyway, let's get into our top three priorities on the waiver wire in general.
6:01Jamie, who are they? Two receivers, and then the third one is kind of just a toss-up.
6:06But the two receivers I think are the most – aside from Woody Marks, I guess, the two most prominent guys to go get.
6:13And that would be Jeremy Bernard and Kendrick Bourne.
6:15Both in great spots right now. You look at Bernard, nine targets.
6:19First game without Michael Pittman. Roman Wilson gets hurt in that game.
6:23So now you're looking at a featured role for him for a quarterback.
6:26You talk about Matthew Stafford, how he's playing. Obviously, Aaron Rodgers is playing fantastic three straight games with three touchdowns.
6:32I said this to you on Fantasy Football Tech Express.
6:35I don't know the last time I saw Tracy Wolfson post on X, something fantasy football related.
6:40She said, for your waivers, go get Jeremy Bernard.
6:43Aaron Rodgers loves this kid. I'm paraphrasing, but you can go read the post.
6:47And she spoke to everybody involved prior to the game, post-game, raving about this kid.
6:51Understandably so, great opportunity for him. Kendrick Bourne's in an unbelievable spot as well.
6:55No Marvin Harrison. So you saw the first game for him, five for 70.
7:00It's now two games this season with eight targets.
7:02Two games with 12 or more PPR points. We know what the Cardinals are going to be.
7:07I put Aaron Rodgers as the third guy. We have four teams on a bye.
7:12Two prominent quarterbacks are missing this week without Joe Burrow and Jared Goff.
7:16So Rodgers, not the easiest of matchups against Tampa Bay, but he's just locked in right now.
7:21And the way he's playing, if you want to put a different quarterback in there, Kirk Cousins taking on the Bills, they
7:27stink and just got really beat up. He's got a great matchup this week.
7:31Long term, I don't know how great he'll be and might get replaced by Fernando Mendoza at some point.
7:37And David Wilson also is in a great spot.
7:39So we just want to put QB as the third guy.
7:43I'm fine with that. All right, Dave. So for Jamie, it's Jeremy Bernard, Kendrick Bourne.
7:47Both of them are rostered in fewer than 10% of leagues.
7:50That's awesome. And Aaron Rodgers, three straight games with more than 28 fantasy points, I think, or 28 or more, which is wild.
7:57Who are your top three? I'm good with that top three, but I do think this is a week where you can find what you need.
8:05If you're desperate for a running back, you can double check for Woody Marks.
8:09You can double check for Marshawn Lloyd. And Lloyd's out there in 42% of CBS leagues.
8:13And he's got Dallas and then Detroit and then Carolina.
8:16I don't know when Josh Jacobs is coming back.
8:19And I don't know if Josh Jacobs is going to instantly go right to the starting lineup and be phenomenal for the Packers.
8:26Obviously, if I thought that that was going to be the case and it was going to happen soon, I would not have dropped him for anyone.
8:34But because we don't know, then maybe Marshawn Lloyd is worth a pickup if you need a running back.
8:39Otherwise, I agree with the order of the wide receivers.
8:42Jeremy Bernard ahead of Kendrick Bourne. Bourne had a great game.
8:46I don't know if he really saw a huge uptick as far as roll or routes just because Marvin Harrison was gone.
8:52They just used somebody else to run cardio down the sideline instead of Marvin Harrison Jr.
8:57But he was good winning on middle of the field stuff.
9:00A lot of slants, a lot of in breakers.
9:03And he's got good speed. And I figure he'll be a piece of this offense for the rest of the season.
9:09But Jeremy Bernard, just as far as short term goes, I don't know if he's a rest of season winner because eventually
9:15other pass catchers for Pittsburgh will come back for at least the next couple of weeks.
9:20He's doing the exact same thing that Kendrick Bourne is doing, but Aaron Rodgers is playing really well.
9:25And I could see him continuing to win in the short area and get targets in the short area.
9:31And Mike McCarthy has loved receivers like this. So taking him as the top receiver off the pile, to me, that's great.
9:37And I also want to put in a little bit for Brenton Strange, who we can use him this week against Houston.
9:44It's a tough matchup. There's no doubt. But he's been an underneath guy.
9:48He's been a check down guy. When Trevor Lawrence sees zone, that's when Brenton Strange has gotten a lot of targets.
9:54He has eight targets in each of his last two games.
9:57When Trevor Lawrence is pressured, he goes to Brenton Strange.
10:00He's also been getting layup targets at him. So lots of quick design throws to Brenton Strange.
10:05Don't think that the Jaguars will run the ball effectively this week.
10:09So if you need a tight end, maybe you're sick of the Dalton Kincaid experiment already.
10:13You're ready to pivot. Brenton Strange is out there in half of CBS leagues.
10:17And for at least one week, he'll be able to help you out.
10:21There's a tight end. Also, if you're thinking about Hunter Henry, I don't know how much I buy this.
10:27I watched the tape of the Browns-Jets game. And Harold Fannin Jr.
10:30had a horrible game. But he was open a lot.
10:33They just didn't throw to him. But the Jets, I would have to say, might be, on paper, the worst matchup.
10:39They are fifth best against tight ends. They haven't allowed a touchdown yet.
10:43They have faced Harold Fannin Jr., Sam Laporta, Tucker Craft, and Colson Loveland.
10:47Some teams are great against tight ends and haven't faced anyone.
10:50The Jets have faced a good tight end pretty much every week.
10:54And they're fifth best against tight ends. Again, I don't really know that I buy it.
10:59But I don't know how I could just ignore that.
11:01So that's just something to keep in mind for Hunter Henry.
11:05I wanted to bring up the matchups. Dave and I watched Marshawn Lloyd.
11:09We're chatting about it. I know he only averaged 3.1 yards per carry.
11:12It was against the Bears. I thought he looked good for once.
11:16And I thought the offensive line did pretty well.
11:19That's a big part for me. Jacob and Dan were talking about that on Beyond the Box score yesterday.
11:24The line for the Packers has done better lately.
11:27And also, you saw Caleb Johnson had, I think, seven carries.
11:30They were all in garbage time. They used a two-back rotation in this game.
11:34They used Pierre Strong as the passing downs guy.
11:37But Marshawn Lloyd against the Dallas Cowboys, this week and who knows how much longer.
11:41I dropped him. I drafted him more than anyone I know.
11:44I dropped him, I think, in every single league.
11:47Same. And I'm going to try to get him back.
11:50I don't blame you for it. Yeah, I'm going to try to get him back.
11:54But we should lower expectations because basically, we were lucky he scored.
11:58A little bit of that. He's definitely touched on depending.
12:01He doesn't have a game this year yet with 50 total yards.
12:04So that's problematic. But he's played a lot of games this year with a bad offensive line.
12:09And now it looks like the line is getting better.
12:12He himself looked pretty good. We just talked about that, Adam.
12:16And Jordan Love talked him up after the game about just how much they loved the physicality that he brought and the vision that he brought.
12:23And maybe his game's improving just a little bit.
12:26And we're ticketed for a high-scoring shootout between the Packers and the Cowboys.
12:30So getting pieces of that game, kind of appealing.
12:32And there are a lot of running backs that are out.
12:36I would not mind having Marshawn Lloyd on my fantasy team.
12:39And I think Jamie was impressed with Marshawn Lloyd, too.
12:42I mean, Dave and I were doing our Monday film chat.
12:45And Marshawn Lloyd, he surprisingly stood out. But what was I going to say?
12:49Oh, let's do a fun exercise real quick if you're trying to choose between Jeremy Bernard and Kendrick Bourne.
12:55I think, obviously, one of the issues with Jeremy Bernard is that Roman Wilson, he's not on IR.
13:00Maybe they put him there. But I don't know.
13:03Maybe he misses a couple weeks with his finger injury.
13:06So Bernard might have no role. But take a look at this.
13:09Or he could earn it. Right. If you're looking at the...
13:12I'll give the people who are just listening the skinny here.
13:16But if you're looking at the Cardinals versus Steelers offense, I'll let you guys try to figure out who it is.
13:22I think you'll probably be able to. One is 18th in points per game.
13:26One is 19th in points per game. One is third in pass attempts.
13:30And the other is seventh in pass attempts. They're both top six in pass rate.
13:34Now, the team that's third in pass attempts per game is 32nd in yards per play.
13:39But they run a ton of plays. They're second in plays.
13:42They're super fast pace. The other one is 15th in...
13:4517th in yards per play. And they're the slowest paced team in football.
13:49And they're 15th in plays. So you've got two teams that are very pass heavy right now.
13:54One of them is, you know, medium efficiency. One of them is the least efficient team in football.
13:59But the least efficient team runs the second most plays.
14:02And the medium efficient team runs the fewest plays.
14:05Or has the slowest pace. Runs the medium amount of plays.
14:08Has the slowest pace in football. I hope that wasn't confusing.
14:11Which offense would you rather attach yourself to? The one with Aaron Rodgers right now.
14:16And that would be, I believe, Team B. Team B.
14:19Blitzburg. Yeah, you know when Rodgers... Rodgers is a slow-paced guy.
14:22So... That's the difference. Steelers... I mean, the fear you have to have with all the Cardinals is that they're going to bench to Kobe Brissett this morning.
14:30I think he's... If I saw the stat correctly, he's 2-15 in...
14:34Since he's replaced Kyler Murray. Like, it's just awful.
14:36And their schedule's terrible going forward. Right. Although, on paper...
14:39And it's not all on him. Believe me, it's not his fault that the record is what it is.
14:45But he's still the guy at the helm at the most important position.
14:49And they have a young quarterback that they might want to give some opportunities just to see what it looks like.
14:55The Rams up next. Then the Broncos. Then the Cardinals.
14:58Then the Cowboys. Then the Seahawks. Then the Rams.
15:00Then the Chiefs. I've talked about that like a hundred times recently.
15:04But, yeah. They're going to consider elevating Carson Beck to number two on the depth chart and making him active on game
15:10day instead of just the emergency quarterback. All right.
15:13So, Jeremy Bernard, Kendrick Bourne, and Aaron Rodgers. Jeremy Bernard, Kendrick Bourne, and Bren Strange.
15:17You could go for Marshawn Lloyd. Dave said this is a week where you can go for what you need.
15:23Also, if Woody Marks is available, he's number one for you, right?
15:27Yes. Yeah, he would be number one. I mean, we don't know how long Montgomery's going to be out.
15:33And like you said, I think there's by his week seven, if I'm not mistaken.
15:37So, you might only get a one-week scenario of this for Marks because Montgomery could return through week eight.
15:43It's week eight, yeah. Yeah, Jacksonville in London and then the Giants after that, then a bye.
15:48That's the one. So, you might only get two weeks of it for Marks.
15:52That's the one. Like, he could struggle against Jacksonville.
15:54But what if he does well? And then what if he does well?
15:58And maybe Montgomery's back in week seven. I don't know.
16:01But if he does well against the Giants, they have a terrible run defense.
16:05He could keep this job, right? He might already have it.
16:08Yeah, he could Jalen Warren it. Not that he'd be as good, but he could Jalen Warren this, right?
16:14Well, I mean, look, they clearly gave you a blueprint of what they're looking at right now.
16:19My guess is the trade with Marvin Harrison was, hey, if we lose to the Titans, we're done.
16:24We're packing it in. We're not giving up a second-round pick for whoever.
16:28And they beat the Titans. They feel like they've done this before going 0-3.
16:32Not 0-4, but going 0-3 and still making the playoffs.
16:35The division's very winnable. I know Jacksonville's got a lead and looks like a very strong team.
16:40They're going to have their hands full of both sides in this matchup against London.
16:45In London. Against each other in London. And, yeah, Marks is more a part of their future than Montgomery is.
16:50So no matter which way this goes, still winning and he's doing well, he's the guy.
16:55They start to lose. Oops, sorry. They start to lose.
16:58They might continue to give him opportunities. So it's just a matter of the Montgomery experiment has failed so far.
17:04Maybe it reignites in the second half of the season if he's healthy.
17:08But this is a great opportunity to go get Woody Marks.
17:11Absolutely. He's out there in about half of the leagues of Yahoo and ESPN.
17:15ESPN. So if you're looking for him on CBS or Sleeper, it's going to be tough to find him.
17:21But take a look or maybe even try and trade for him.
17:24Sleeper, no. Sleeper is 57% rostered. Oh, all right.
17:27So all three. You know what? It was Marshawn Lloyd who was like crazy rostered on Sleeper, I believe.
17:33Oh, okay. Yeah, I'm only on one Sleeper league.
17:35So don't blame me for that. All right. We're going to take a break.
17:39Oh, how much fab? Fab. Yeah, we'll talk about fab when we come back.
17:43We'll be right back on Fabacy Football today. Building a winning fantasy football team takes so much more than just picking the biggest names.
17:51You need strategy, preparation, determination, and of course, a little bit of grit when things don't go according to plan.
17:56It's the same way in football. A quarterback has to throw and run.
18:00A running back has to run and read the routes.
18:03It takes so much more than one skill to succeed.
18:06Just like Nationwide. Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company.
18:10They're one of America's largest financial services companies too.

20:09SimpliSafe, ahead of crime, in real time. Okay, Woody Marks not available in a single one of my leagues.
20:14I just checked. Great stuff. But if he were available, I'd put it on a decent amount of fab.
20:20Dave, how about you? How much fab on Marks?
20:23How much fab on Bernard, on Bourne? What are we looking at here?
20:26You'll go north of 20% on Woody Marks. And depending on how desperate you are for a running back, you can go
20:33in the 15% to 20% range for Marshawn Lloyd if he's there.
20:36These receivers, I'd be hesitant to go any higher than 10% on.
20:40Jeremy would be the one that I'd probably be like right at 10% or 11%.
20:44Kendrick Bourne, I'd be probably closer to like 7%, 8%.
20:47You're a germaphobe when it comes to spending a lot.
20:50All right, no. Nope. Jamie, any disagreements there? No.
20:53I think that's the range. I mean, look, again, we're at the point in the season where you know what your record is.
21:00You know what the rest of your league looks like.
21:03And you should spend accordingly to try and keep yourself in it if you're struggling or balance your budget.
21:08If you don't need any of these players, don't overspend for them.
21:12The other point to it, too, is that we're going to talk about a bunch of other wide receivers that maybe don't
21:18have the exact same type of appeal as Bernard or Bourne.
21:21But they can help you in a pinch and you're going to be able to get them for like 1% or 2% of your fab.
21:29What do you think the odds of Jeremy Bernard and Kendrick Bourne being a top 30 receiver rest of season are?
21:35Rest of season? I could see it for Bernard.
21:38Probably slim if everybody's healthy. But we don't know how long this finger injury is going to linger for Wilson, which is the more important one.
21:45But Pittman also could return at some point from the foot injury and be a factor.
21:50So there's also the other part of this. Like what if something happens to DK Metcalf?
21:55You know, and then Bernard is really in a great spot.
21:58So I think just looking at it right now, with everything that you know, what they spent their draft capital to go
22:04get him, with what the receiving core looks like right now, the game that he just had, the way Rodgers is playing,
22:11again, for what it's worth, what Tracy Wolfson said, there's just a lot to love about the spot that he's in.
22:17I think the struggle with anybody looking at spending a lot of fab on both these receivers is assuming Jacoby Brissette is the starter.
22:24So let's just go with that notion that he's going to be the predominant quarterback there for Arizona for the next, let's say, six plus weeks.
22:32Bourne's long-term standing is probably better. That being said, Bernard may have more upside in those six weeks.
22:37So I would take Bernard first. This is Bernard's audition.
22:40This is his chance to go out and show, and he did it last week, that he can be a functional part of the offense.
22:47And I think he fits with what they want to do.
22:51I already talked about that. Aaron Rodgers is playing awesome football.
22:54His offensive line, I think, is playing halfway decent too.
22:57And so there's real opportunity for Bernard to take this job and run with it.
23:01Bourne has the job. So it's just Kendrick Bourne in an offense with a bad offensive line.
23:06Volume will be there. And I think Carson Beck can be okay for Kendrick Bourne and just the role that he has
23:13and just easy, slant, en route guy. I don't know if either one of them can really be top 30, but there's a pathway.
23:20And I think it's a little bit closer for Bernard than it is for Kendrick Bourne.
23:24I'm not going to say, oh, yeah, for sure, top 30.
23:28Just there's a chance. Kendrick Bourne is 31 years old, by the way, whereas Jeremy Bernard is a rookie.
23:33But this is a brand new role for Kendrick Bourne.
23:3660% plus slot rate. He's never had really anything close to that.
23:40So we've seen older guys be good because they're just – Kelly Framond.
23:44Yeah, well, Keenan Allen, Larry Fitzgerald moved him to the slot, and he was playing well into his mid-30s, basically.
23:50Julian Edelman. Like these slot guys, they age pretty well, and now Kendrick Bourne is that.
23:54Plus 31 is really not that old anymore. Okay.
23:57Anyway, let's go to your news and notes. Michael Penick's – oh, CBS Sports Network at noon Eastern on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
24:03We have a show, Waver Wire Tuesdays, rankings on Thursdays.
24:06And if we're not on CBS Sports Network, we'll still be on CBS Sports HQ with that same show.
24:12And you can catch it at YouTube.com slash Fantasy Football Today.
24:15You can see all of our content at YouTube.com slash Fantasy Football Today.
24:19News and notes. Michael Penick's Jr. with injured ribs.
24:22They're hoping he can play this week against the Bears.
24:25Robert Sala sticking with Cam Ward, said for the season.
24:27Arizona, like I said, could make Carson Beck active.
24:30Caleb Williams could play this week. And Lamar Jackson is doing better.
24:34We might have a big boost at the quarterback position.
24:37At running back. All right, Will Shipley's got a foot injury.
24:40He's going to miss some time. We could get Barkley and Devontae Smith back this week.
24:45They're facing the Panthers. That would be great. We shall see.
24:48Quinchon Judkins was in a walking boot, but he's apparently day-to-day.
24:51Raheem Sanders left with a hip injury. We're all day-to-day, Adam.
24:54We're all day-to-day. And Baltimore is the matchup for Cleveland this week.
24:58But Jaleel McLaughlin is on the waiver wire in every league, basically.
25:01So he might be a starting running back this week.
25:04Just keep in mind, Dylan Sampson, the practice window is open now for him as well.
25:09So it could be a match in terms of what you're doing from a waiver perspective.
25:14So don't just see, okay, everybody's hurt. I know Jaleel McLaughlin's name because he's been in the league for a while.
25:20That's going to be the replacement. It may be Dylan Sampson.
25:23It may be Raheem Sanders. If he's okay, they may go out and get somebody else and just not trust McLaughlin.
25:29So this is one where minimum fab. Yes. Move on at the end of the week.
25:34Don't be surprised. Hopefully, you know, for all of our sakes that have Quinshawn Judkins rostered, that he's the guy for them.
25:40Come Sunday. And with Sampson, if you've got IR spots, you can pick him up and stash him there.
25:46And if he ends up being activated, then you'll have to make a roster move to get him on your bench or you just cut him.
25:54And if not, if he's not activated, you carry him for another week and see what happens.
25:59And by the way, this crazy stat on Jaleel McLaughlin, he's averaged 4.9 yards per carry in his career.
26:04And it's 228 carries. It's not a small sample size.
26:07So maybe he would just, if like he and Dylan Sampson were active, I think McLaughlin probably, I don't know, could get more work.
26:14Mike McCarthy acknowledged that Jalen Warren is going to keep getting work.
26:18He went Rico Dowdle's back. Shocker. David Montgomery groin.
26:20Aaron Jones is fine. And they have a bye.
26:23Travion Henderson, not ruled out for this week. He might be able to play there against the Jets.
26:28Wide receiver, AJ Brown could practice this week. Doesn't mean he'd play, but they could open his practice window this week.
26:35Debo Samuel is going to miss a few weeks with a hamstring injury.
26:38We got the CeeDee Lamb injury from last Thursday night.
26:41It was a quad injury. Ryan Flannoy is in the waiver wire column.
26:45Jake Ferguson. Don't get rid of Jake Ferguson just yet.
26:48He was amazing last year when CeeDee Lamb was hurt.
26:51So we don't know if Lamb's going to play this week.
26:54We got Marvin Harrison Jr. Going to the Texans.
26:57If Marvin Harrison Jr. Were available, you think he's like 88% rostered in CBS leagues.
27:01Would you rather have him or Woody Marks? Marks.
27:04Marks and Bernard. Bernard. Yeah. And... I think Bernard will help you sooner than Marvin will this year.
27:09Or at least this week. Next couple weeks. I imagine it's going to be tough for Casey Concepcion this week.
27:15But we'll see. You never know with concussions. And Roman Wilson's got the injury.
27:19A tight end. I haven't seen anything on Isaiah, likely.
27:22No, neither have I. Which is, to me, a good sign.
27:25Yeah, it's a good sign. He limped off late in the game.
27:29We'll see Wednesday if he practices. Okay to drop Kenyon Sadiq?
27:32Yeah. Yes. He's got a concussion. Or is he just in the protocol?
27:36He's got a concussion. And also, he ran 18% of the routes in the first half.
27:41While Mason Taylor ran 75% of the routes. A lot of offensive line injuries.
27:45Buffalo right tackle Spencer Brown left. Didn't slow them down yesterday.
27:48They've got the Raiders and then a bye. The Eagles got another injury on their offensive line.
27:53It's pretty crazy that before he went down, their entire offensive line had not missed a snap.
27:58That is wild. The Giants right tackle Jermaine Illuminor may not play this week.
28:02He's day-to-day. On defense, the big stuff. Oh, first of all, if you have Harrison Meevis, the kicker for the Rams, he might get benched.
28:10He's, you know. Benched? Cut, right. He might get cut.
28:13They don't usually bench kickers. I think Sean McVay wishes he left him in Australia.
28:17Yeah. So he's like 45% rostered in CBS League.
28:20So you might want to, you need to move on and get a new kicker.
28:24San Francisco linebacker Drake Greenlaw suspended one game. He head-butted a player who wasn't wearing a helmet.
28:29Cleveland could be without linebacker Carson Swessinger for a bit.
28:32Swessinger? Swess? Swess? Swess? Swess something? Bears got a little banged up last week.
28:36Giants got a little banged up. And we'll stop there.
28:39Oh, Denver's playing on Thursday. They could be without safety.
28:42Talanoa Hufanga against the Seattle Seahawks. Let's get to the top three in each position.
28:46But before we do that, you know what's a really worthless feeling in fantasy football?
28:51Scoring the most points in the week in your guillotine league.
28:54It's just like, I didn't need to do all that.
28:57Save it for another week. Who cares? So it is a worthless feeling.
29:01I do in the guillotine league that I run.
29:03You get a bonus for winning the week. Good for you.
29:07Yeah. I'm trying to reward the people that actually are trying to put forth the best effort to score the most points.
29:13Well, mine's the best ball guillotine league. So I didn't really put any effort in.
29:18But this is where the most points is like, oh, okay, great.
29:21Top three at each position. Jamie, quarterback. Yeah. Again, you can mix up the order.
29:26And I'm struggling with it from a week to week versus for week six versus long term.
29:31So I have Aaron Rodgers one, Jameis Winston two, and Kirk Cousins three.
29:34Again, the matchup might be the best for Cousins based on Buffalo and the injuries that they sustain, plus the way that he's performed.
29:41You know, last week was his first bad game.
29:44Winston's coming off two strong games. I think he's got a good matchup against New Orleans at home as well.
29:50Rodgers probably has the worst matchup, but he's playing the best at least coming into this.
29:55So it depends on what you think in terms of this week versus long term.
29:59For the rest of the season, I'd rather have Rodgers.
30:02I think he's in the best spot. Okay. And Rodgers this week is facing Tampa Bay.
30:07And they've actually been pretty good against quarterbacks. It's weird.
30:10Sure. But so has Cleveland. And he scored 28 points against them two weeks ago.
30:14This is kind of... And he gets them in three weeks.
30:17Yeah. I don't think he's matchup proof, but he's performed well so far.
30:21His last three games where he's got the three touchdowns, Cincinnati was one.
30:25We know what that defense has been. Cleveland, like you said, he did well against them and in Indianapolis, which has been bad.
30:32So two of those three matchups, at least we're very favorable.
30:35All right. Rodgers, Winston, Cousins, Winston getting the Saints at home.
30:38Cousins, as Jamie said, with the best matchup. You just wonder with Cousins.
30:42Like they've already played Mendoza in a blowout situation.
30:45I get it. I understand why. They're not benching him given what their season looks like right now.
30:50But another bad game. And if Buffalo goes up big, we could see Mendoza in there as well.
30:55Dave, who are the top three running backs to get?
30:58You can double check for Woody Marks, but Marshawn Lloyd is available in 42% of CBS leagues, about half of the SPN leagues.
31:05I like the schedule moving forward. And then after that, it's gross and it kind of depends on what you need.
31:11Do you want a running back who has a chance to maybe start and get in the neighborhood of 12 touches?
31:17Then I guess Damian Pierce and Jaleel McLaughlin would fit the bill, but it sounds like there's a chance that the starters
31:24in front of them could be back this week.
31:26And I don't want you to waste your fab.
31:29If you need eight PPR points, then it's Chris Rodriguez, who's out there in about half of leagues.
31:34Ty Shee Spears, two thirds of leagues. Kendra Miller, who's out there in three quarters worth of leagues.
31:40And then Kamani Vidal also had a nice run last week, but he's part of a three-headed monster on a team that's going nowhere.
31:47So I don't know if I feel good about any of these guys other than Lloyd, but it just depends, I guess, on what you need.
31:54There isn't a lot there at running back. Well, I don't agree necessarily because there's hardly ever anything at running back, right?
32:01It's, you know, they don't, they're not like wide receivers.
32:04So to have the opportunity to pick up players that you could start this week is, is enticing, especially when it like Marshawn Lloyd's not an injury situation.
32:12Kendry Miller is not really an injury situation. You know, yeah, he is.
32:16Well, he is, but that was last week. We were reacting to that last week.
32:20Well, unless you're saying Camara's too hurt. Travis A.
32:23Chan is not going to play for at least two more games.
32:27Yeah. So it is an injury situation. There's not a long-term appeal here for Kendra Miller.
32:31Okay. Yeah. But, but Miller was on the waiver wire last week.
32:35And if he's going to dominate carries like he did this past game against the Giants, then he could be really good.
32:41Yeah, no, I totally agree. I think there's, to me, there's, there's, there's three guys that could be plug and play as flex options.
32:48You know, if you want to say Lloyd is the best, fine.
32:52I think Damian Pierce, you know, Dave said 12 touches.
32:55He had 12 touches, you know, after Shipley got injured.
32:58I know it was the first quarter, but you know, he's looking at a much better situation as we against Carolina.
33:04And I would say if they don't add somebody, especially Barkley's out, like he's going to be probably in the neighborhood of
33:1018 to 20 touches, just given how this team has operated.
33:14Then Lloyd has not played very well. And if they're chasing points based on how this team has looked, they're going to throw and throw a lot.
33:22And just, you know, you're hoping for touchdowns there for him.
33:25For Miller, I agree with you, Adam. It was 10 carries, 30 yards, score a touchdown.
33:29He hasn't had a game with double digits and PPR points yet.
33:33Does have two touchdowns, rushing touchdowns on the season.
33:36Not going to be involved in the passing game.
33:38But the Giants stink in terms of defending the run, or at least are mediocre in terms of defending the run.
33:45They stink. So Miller's got an opportunity here. And then if you extend a little bit further, like, you know, we don't
33:51know if Mononga is going to come back. Roshan Johnson just had five catches.
33:55Dave mentioned Tajay Spears. He had nine catches. You know, I don't know if that's sustainable, but it's maybe something that they
34:02need to incorporate a little bit more. So if you knock that down to four or five, which is, you know, what
34:08he was basically averaging last season when he came back from injury, that's within the realm of possibility.
34:13I don't know. I mean, there are – look, we got, again, four teams on a bye, bunch of injuries again.
34:20You know, there are flex options here for you that you may have to just, you know, depend on.
34:25Not want to rely on, but have to depend on.
34:28You asked for a top three. For me, it's Lloyd one.
34:31I think it's Pierce by default, too. But it's like a 4% fab bid.
34:35And then I'd probably pick Kendra Miller over Tajay Spears.
34:38But that's the matchup thing and the fact that Kendra Miller had all their snaps inside the 10 last week for Nolens.
34:45Yeah. It's also Kamara may not be 100%. Right.
34:47So, like, Kamara – No, we don't know that.
34:50That's true. Kamara got – okay. They didn't have Travis H.N.
34:53last year. Kamara was the lead running back. Kendra Miller was a backup, basically.
34:57Earlier this season, Kamara was playing ahead of Kendra Miller.
35:00Week four, Kamara played ahead of Kendra Miller. Week five was a surprise, right?
35:05No one thought – everyone had Kamara ranked higher.
35:07You think that was because of the injury? Because Kendra Miller, again, if he's – I'm sorry.
35:12I don't remember how many carries or touches Alvin Kamara had in this last game.
35:17But it was – He had three carries for 12 yards and two catches for negative six yards.
35:22And just to add another wrinkle to this, and this may be where Kamara's at, they signed Audra Goste me off the Vikings practice squad.
35:29Right. They brought him back. Last year. Okay. So, yeah, I guess I'm just saying, like, if I knew that the usage
35:36was going to be the same, I guess I'd take Kendra Miller over Damian Pierce right now because there's a chance Barkley could play this week.
35:43But even still, like, I don't know. What are your expectations for Damian Pierce?
35:48And then I guess I'll just ask it like this.
35:50Let's say Barkley's out, and let's say Kendra Miller keeps the same role.
35:54He's the starting running back. He's the lead running back, you know, against the Giants.
35:59Who do you like better, Pierce against Carolina or Miller against the Giants?
36:03Pierce. Pierce would have more touches. I just – he's not explosive.
36:06We know that running backs don't get a lot of short yardage goal line carries in Philadelphia.
36:11The offensive line's bad. I'm not excited about either one.
36:14But if we're just going to go on the volume game, I think Pierce will have more touches than Miller.
36:20Okay. Jamie, who are the top three wide receivers?
36:23Two you know. We've talked about them enough already with Jeremy Bernard and Kendrick Bourne.
36:27Three for me would be Keenan Allen. It's now two games that he's played without Alec Pierce, and he has nine targets in each of them.
36:35So there's a lot of different options you can go with the third receiver if you're looking short-term versus long-term.
36:40I think just looking at Keenan Allen's opportunity here, he's going to be sustainable.
36:45So Khalil Shakir had a nice catch. We didn't see much from the Bills receivers in that game.
36:50Kendrick Bourne should have – excuse me. Keon Coleman should have had a much bigger game.
36:55Had three catches negated by penalties one way or the other.
36:58But Shakir had a big catch and a much easier matchup for them this week.
37:02Ryan Flannoy is definitely on the table if there's no CeeDee Lamb, so that's one you just have to sort of figure out how it goes.
37:10Efton Chisdom III is in a decent spot. He's got back-to-back games.
37:13I thought about this. We gave Heath a little bit of a hard time on CBS Sports Network that he can't use
37:20Malik Washington as his sleeper, which has kind of been just this 10-11 PPR point guy.
37:25I thought this might be his pivot play. If there's no A.J.
37:28Brown because it's kind of the same type of guy.
37:31But I think Keenan Allen just makes the most sense as the third option.
37:35Okay. Let me ask you this. Xavier Worthy, 67% rostered on sleeper.
37:39Xavier Worthy is on Yahoo. He is 59% rostered.
37:41If he were available, where would he rank next to Bernard and Kendrick Bourne?
37:46Third. Dave? I think he'd be third. The only debate I have in my head is whether or not I would take Bourne.
37:52Overworthy. I think I would take Bourne. Overworthy, especially if it's half or full PPR.
37:57Yeah. I mean, the thing is, I'm acting like Rasheed Rice is out for the year.
38:01He's not. I don't even know if he's going to miss this week's game.
38:06I don't think he will. It does. I would.
38:08I know they added Justin Watson. I'm guessing that's more for Taequann Thornton than anything else.
38:13I would guess at this point, if they knew Rice was going to miss this week, we would have gotten a different receiver added.
38:20I'm not saying that's Tyreek Hill. I just think that they would have been more aggressive in trying to find somebody because
38:26I don't think they want to come out of their bye week.
38:30Even playing the Chargers, knowing that they don't have Rice and Thornton and trying to figure out something in the interim that...
38:36Remember, Rice was trying to get back in the game in week four before he...
38:41Or after he got hurt. What am I doing here?
38:44We don't need Xavier Worthy. He's been so... No, he's...
38:47Look, Thornton's now out. Worthy's had a couple of good games.
38:50Rice has got an injury track record that you got to be aware of.
38:54So he should be rostered. Absolutely. All right. By the way, Tyreek Hill is 55% rostered.
38:59If I don't need a receiver this week, should I pick up Bernard, Bourne, or Tyreek Hill?
39:04I think just given the civil suits that he's dealing with and not knowing all the details about how that will play
39:10out, but the comments that he made made me a little sketchy on him signing with an NFL team.
39:16Yeah. Especially after what his... I think his ex-wife...
39:18What she said in regards to the incident. Still his wife.
39:22Maybe still his wife. I don't know. Yeah. It doesn't matter.
39:25It was ugly and it happened after... the excitement of a comeback came out in the news cycle.
39:30All right, Dave. Let's go to tight ends here.
39:33Who are your top three tight ends to pick up?
39:36My favorite tight end to pick up is Brenton Strange.
39:39It's going to be more of a one-week thing rather than a short-term fix thing because he's got to buy after week six.
39:46But I just like the role that we've seen in the targets.
39:49Eight of them each of the last two games.
39:52I've got Friermuth second. We saw a little bit of an uptick for him, at least in the red zone with Pittman and Roman Wilson out.
39:59Already has more games this year with a 75% route rate than he had all of 2025.
40:04So I'm excited about that. He's a short area guy.
40:07Did have some long routes, just didn't necessarily come through on them.
40:11And the schedule, it's Tampa and then it's New Orleans.
40:14I like that matchup. Cleveland after that. If there's a shortage of targets in Pittsburgh, no Roman Wilson, no Michael Pittman, then yes, Jeremy Bernard makes sense.
40:22But Friermuth will get some work too. And then I've got Darren Waller still third, just by a notch over Hunter Henry.
40:28Okay. And Jamie has Tyler Higby on this list as well.
40:31Yeah. Higby was awesome last night. You just said it.
40:34That Stafford, three straight games of 50 plus pass attempts.
40:37There's enough room for this guy to get his production.
40:40It's pretty clear that he's the guy while Ferguson is out.
40:44Colby Parkinson played last night. I mean, Higby looked fantastic.
40:46Once again, three straight games with 11.7 PPR points or more.
40:50So for me, he's the second side end to go get.
40:53I think he's a, he's a must-start guy this week.
40:56We're going to talk about great matchups. He gets Arizona.
40:59Yeah. It's a great matchup for him. He belongs in the top three.
41:03He should at least be ahead of Waller. Yeah.
41:05I guess caution flag would be for both Higby and Friermuth is their target shares are very low.
41:11And you can't usually win like in fantasy as a tight end with a 13% target share.
41:16But it's true. The Stafford's guy. You can't. Well, it's weird.
41:19I mean, did anyone see this coming for the Rams?
41:22They're supposed to have the best defense in football, blah, blah, blah.
41:2550 pass attempts, three games in a row for the first time in his career.
41:30That's bizarre. So based on, based on last night, first off, we're looking at target share.
41:34Devontae Adams isn't exactly great either. No. If you're, if you're, if you're trying to figure out what's going to happen first,
41:41does Stafford's arm fall off first or does Puka Nakua's body just break?
41:45Like the amount of times that he throws, the amount of times that Puka gets targeted is just ridiculous.
41:50All right. So recapping here, our top three. How much fun was that game last night?
41:55It was a blast. Just amazing. And Sunday night was great too.
41:59It's really good stuff. Uh, Jamie's top three quarterbacks were, uh, Rogers, Winston and cousins.
42:03Sorry. I said, per set, I meant Winston Rogers, Winston cousins.
42:06Dave's top three running backs were Lloyd Pierce and Miller.
42:09I think. Yes. Um, and top three wide receivers were Bernard born in Keenan Allen for Jamie top three tight ends.
42:15Brenton strange, maybe Tyler Higby, Pat Friermuth, your top three there.
42:19Now it's time for coverage. You can count on sponsored by nationwide.
42:22Just like your fantasy roster is more than just your offensive starters nationwide is a great insurance company and one of America's largest financial services companies.
42:30So don't forget about the defensive side of the ball.
42:33And remember nationwide is on your side. And Jamie, which DST are you loving this week?
42:37Yeah. You can make a case. If you want to talk about top three overall players to add this week, that the
42:44chiefs DST should be in the top three here.
42:47Here they come off a buy taking on the chargers, totally revamped offensive line.
42:51Maybe not one of their top three receivers available for this week.
42:54It's just been a mess as we know. And this should be, I can't wait to see how giddy Heath is on Sunday night just after this game.
43:02And if the chiefs do what they're expected to do against the chargers.
43:06So the chiefs DST number one, by far, they're my number one DST this week.
43:11Yeah. Is that a Sunday night game or you're saying it's on when we go?
43:15Just Sunday in our recap. Okay, good. I hope they're not a Sunday night game, but not one of the chargers in primetime.
43:22Cowboys Packers. Yeah. Um, okay. They are currently slated for week 12 on Sunday night football against the Patriots.
43:27Yeah. So they're only like, yeah, get that out of there.
43:31And that was coverage. You can count on sponsored by nationwide nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company.
43:37They're one of America's largest financial services companies too.
43:39So take your game to the next level with nationwide for your insurance and financial needs.
43:44Nationwide is on your side nationwide and nationwide investment services corporation.
43:47Member FINRA, Columbus, Ohio kickers, Jamie. Yeah. Uh, Harrison Bucker taking on the chargers, Chris Boswell taking on the bucks.
43:53And I know Zavada missed a three field goals, but he still had five field goal attempts.
43:58And this is another good matchup for him taking on the saints.
44:02So those would be my three. Yeah. I don't know if the weather was a factor or not, but the rookie had a terrible game as a kicker.
44:10250 yard missed kicks too. So. Yep. Um, anyway, uh, that is, uh, Butker Boswell and Zavada.
44:15The DSTs were the chiefs, the Colts and the 49ers to go get, and we will go get ourselves a little break.
44:22Come back with the shallow leaves and deep leagues and a little recap of Sunday night and Monday night.
44:27Pardon me. And more after this. Sometimes I'm so busy.

46:28So we've discussed players, mostly players that are rostered in fewer than two thirds of CBS sports leagues.
46:34But what about the shallow league guys? What about the Jacoby Brissetts of the world?
46:38And we already talked about Xavier Worthy, maybe Devon Vele, maybe Marvin Harrison Jr.
46:42I don't know. Jamie Pie in the Sky. All these guys are available.
46:46Who are the best ones to get? I mean, Woody Marks would obviously be number one.
46:51You know, for us, he's like you said, 72% roster.
46:54David Montgomery is expected to miss a few weeks.
46:56With a groin injury, if you want to look at quarterbacks, start there.
47:00Jacoby Brissetts is the only one that I listed in the column this week.
47:04He's 83% rostered. Don't love the upcoming schedule, but he's still going to throw the ball a lot.
47:10And there is the potential of him getting benched at some point.
47:13But you just saw what he does when he gets everything in the right frame of matchup, opponent, et cetera.
47:1931.3 fantasy points and typically hovers in that 18 to 20% range.
47:23Some other running backs. It's not bad at this position.
47:25To go find some guys. He's not going to play this week, but Zach Charbonnet should 100% be rostered.
47:31They have a short week. So it could be week seven for him.
47:35There's that group of backup running backs that play a lot, which is Blake Corum, Mike Washington, Brian Robinson, Kalen Black.
47:41You know, all these guys I think should be rostered.
47:44As you saw, Corum's touchdown prior to this week.
47:47Robinson had a three-touchdown game. You know, again, we're entering bi-week territory here.
47:50These guys are all going to, at some point, maybe be relevant.
47:54And you heard Clint Kubiak, if you didn't hear.
47:57Clint Kubiak said after the game that he needs to get Mike Washington more touches after Ashton Gent.
48:02He's kind of fighting through this, you know, ankle situation that he's dealing with.
48:06So don't be surprised. We see a little bit more of Mike Washington.
48:10And then Jordan Mason is eligible to return after their bi-week and sounds like he's going to step back into a pretty prominent role.
48:17Not as the starter, but at least as somebody that's going to share with Aaron Jones at receiver.
48:22There's some, you know, fun names here as well.
48:25Wondell Robinson has just been 11 PPR points or more in three straight games.
48:29Two touchdowns in those three games. He should be rostered in more leagues.
48:33Xavier Worthy, as we touched on, don't give up on Devon Vele because of the bad game against Minnesota.
48:38He's been 11.4 PPR points in three of five games so far this season.
48:43And then Keon Coleman, like I said, he had three pass plays that were negated by penalties.
48:48Scored a touchdown. Much easier opponent coming up for them against the Raiders if DJ Moore is out.
48:53He should be rostered in, you know, easier situation to manage this week because it's not going to be a primetime game.
48:59You can figure out if DJ Moore is going to play or not.
49:03And at tight end, you mentioned Jake Ferguson. Don't give up on him.
49:07There's also Mark Andrews, who should have been in the playoffs.
49:10I've had a touchdown, dropped one. I know he's not playing well, but still has an opportunity to give you 10 or more PPR points.
49:18He's done that two of his last four games.
49:20And look, Kyle Pitts, best game of the season was last week in the two-game sample size with Michael Penix, or three-game sample size now with Michael Penix.
49:28Two of those games, he's been more involved and more productive.
49:32So maybe he's building towards something that you can actually still rely on.
49:36So I wouldn't give up on him yet. Now, Dave, Jordan Mason, 78% rostered.
49:40Josh Jacobs, 88% rostered. So you could pick him up.
49:43Just take a look. He's not going to be in the projections or anything.
49:47And also, Jamie mentioned all those handcuffed running backs.
49:49They get dropped in weeks like this. They get dropped during bye weeks.
49:53So take a look and just wait and see.
49:56If you don't love anybody on waiver wire, it's not a bad idea to just keep your spot in line.
50:02Don't use your waiver wire priority. You might get a really good player that gets dropped this week, a really valuable player you can add to your roster.
50:10But Dave, none of these guys are available in my leagues.
50:13I'm sorry? None of these guys are available in my leagues.
50:16I am a deep league. What are you guys?
50:19A stupid deep league guys. Start with Jameis Winston.
50:22I don't know why I laugh at that every week.
50:25Jameis Winston is available in over 80% of leagues.
50:27There is a part of me that likes him more than Aaron Rodgers if you're looking for a one-week quarterback, a bi-week
50:34replacement for Joe Burrow as an example. Saints have allowed three quarterbacks to 20-plus fantasy points.
50:39Kyler Murray was one of those guys that's saying something for Kyler.
50:42And Winston really did come alive in the second half last week.
50:46And he's got some stud pass catchers to throw to.
50:49So close call between him and Aaron Rodgers. If you want somebody that's got a little bit more long-term appeal or if
50:55you can't stomach the Jameis roller coaster, of course, Rodgers makes sense.
50:59And Rodgers is out there in about 60% of CBS Sports Leagues.
51:02The next best quarterback besides Winston that might be out there in your league is Geno Smith.
51:07And he's got the Patriots. I can't feel good about that.
51:10Tyler Huntley. Tyler Huntley. Okay, that's a fair one.
51:13That's not a bad one to go with. And he's out there in a bazillion leagues too.
51:18We just don't know if he's going to end up playing.
51:21Because if Lamar makes a recovery and ends up playing, then you've wasted your time with Tyler Huntley.
51:26The running backs, it's Damian Pierce. It's Jaleel McLaughlin available in 95% of leagues.
51:31Pierce over McLaughlin. And you have to hope that Saquon Barkley misses another week.
51:35And that Quinshawn Judkins and Raheem Sanders and Dylan Sampson all miss this week.
51:39Major role. Excuse me. Other than that, we're looking at Tyje Spears, Kendrick Miller, Kamani Vidal.
51:44They're all available in at least 60% of CBS Sports Leagues.
51:47Don't forget the name Dylan Sampson. Might not see him in projections.
51:50Good IR stash at running back. Do you want to include Justice Hill here too?
51:55Like five PPR points? No. Because I don't even want him in my league.
51:59It's like... And we talked about him last week before he went on IR was Chris Brooks of the Packers.
52:05Just in case he ends up having a big role.
52:08When he comes back, you could go and you could put him on your bench.
52:12Same thing with James Conner. Wide receivers, it's the top two guys.
52:16Jeremy and Kendrick. You don't even need their last names anymore.
52:19You know who they are. Available in 94% or more.
52:2293% or more of CBS Sports Leagues. We did not talk about Ryan Flannoy.
52:26And in the event that CeeDee Lamb misses this game, Flannoy, who's available in 95% of CBS Sports Leagues, would end up
52:32being at worst a number three receiver. As the number two target getter in the Dallas offense.
52:37So I'd be intrigued by him. The Patriots receivers, Efton Schistler III, DeMaro Douglas, they're available in the bazillion leagues.
52:43Kyle Williams should be included in there too. Just more of a boom-bust receiver for Williams, who doesn't see the same amount
52:50of playing time that Chisholm and DeMaro Douglas gets.
52:52If I had to pick one of those three, it would be Chisholm.
52:56And then at tight end, Pat Friermuth, 23%. Tyler Higby, 23%.
52:59Is there anybody that's even lower than that? I don't know.
53:03Maybe Jamie's got somebody in mind, but I don't see anybody that's on the waiver wire that's out there.
53:08Mason Taylor? I mean, that's like desperate. Yeah, but he will run a lot of routes.
53:13I don't know if he's going to get a lot of catches.
53:17There's probably like three other tight ends that I'd rather have than Mason Taylor that we haven't even talked about.
53:22Yeah, fair enough. Okay. Jamie, where did you have the Colts DST?
53:26Ranked? Just as far as like DST. Oh, they're the number two DST to get if you're talking about waivers.
53:32Yeah, because they've got Tennessee, but they're just so bad.
53:35It's not a great week for DSTs. You know, we've had better ones.
53:39I have the Chiefs and the Niners ahead of them, but that's it.
53:42Any interest in Isaiah? Isaiah Bond? He almost, he was open for a touchdown.
53:47It scares me. It's seven targets. Yeah. All right.
53:49I think just looking at it, like there's, there's DeMario Douglas.
53:52There's Isaiah Bond. There's Kyle Williams. You know, these guys that are coming off either strong performances or heavily targeted.
53:58Josh Cameron's another guy that you could look at because of the way he's been playing and potentially Brian Thomas Jr.
54:05getting traded. So there's like a lot of these receivers that I think if you're in deep, deep, deep leagues, like I
54:11could, I could write 7,000 words about these guys.
54:14I just don't know like how many people in the majority leagues are going to get them.
54:19Yeah. Yeah. I know. I gotcha. Okay. Well, last night was fun with Buffalo getting a 37, 34 win in overtime.
54:25Major takeaways here. You know, we've talked about selling high on Devante Adams.
54:29Should we try again, Jamie? I mean, look, it's, this was the 2025 Devante Adams, right?
54:33Minimal catches, minimal yards to score two touchdowns, you know?
54:36So you, I don't want to say you got lucky because he's great at doing this and clearly a weapon in the red zone.
54:43Um, but it's just difficult. Like as we saw last week, when he doesn't have one of these games where he scores
54:50twice or even scores once that you're, you know, kind of left disappointed.
54:54And it's just frustrating that the Kua gets 24 targets.
54:57It's great if you're the Kua manager, but you'd like to see a little bit more attention to Devante Adams.
55:02It was just so good when the Kua was out.
55:05You'd think that there'd be opportunities for him to still be as productive, not as productive, but still be, you know, relevant
55:12to, to, to a level where it's not just, you know, him being touchdown dependent.
55:16I thought Tyler Higbee was great. Um, you know, a lot of the, the plays designed for him, uh, were, were fantastic staff were just awesome once again.
55:25And I think just, you know, NFL wise, big picture wise, the fact that the Rams lost this game with the bills,
55:31just down DJ more losing guys left and right, you know, defensively.
55:35Um, you know, you could see, I don't know if you saw Sean McVay's post game, um, uh, comments.
55:40He was, he was clearly frustrated, you know, with the special teams plays.
55:44Um, and then for Buffalo, look, it was, uh, you know, James has got to stop fumbling.
55:49I think another running back to consider also is Ty Johnson, you know, just with the, his role.
55:54This is now two of three games where he's got at least 50 receiving yards.
55:59So he's been, you know, involved in the passing game or I don't know if he had 50 receiving yards, but, um,
56:05he had 50 receiving yards two games ago, but heavily involved in the passing game.
56:10Um, and you know, Shakira, great catch again, Keon Coleman touchdown.
56:13So better opportunities for them. Don Kincaid is a problem at this point.
56:17You know, this, this is a, uh, you know, you talked about how good the jets are and I know that the,
56:23the Rams haven't exactly faced the same level of competition, but you got to take into account that they did limit George Kittle.
56:30I know for what it's worth, that was his game as they likely had 10 targets.
56:35It was from both quarterbacks, mostly Jameis Winston, um, minimal production.
56:38This is now under a hundred yards receiving for their opposing tight ends through five weeks of the season.
56:43That's amazing. So not that you're benching train McBride next week, but this is going to be a good test.
56:49Yeah. How about a season high 82% route rate for Dalton Kincaid and he got two targets and one catch.
56:55They didn't throw much, but still it's bad. It's really bad.
56:5820 pass attempts. I think for Josh Allen, um, can you drop, you dropped Dalton Kincaid.
57:03I think we have three tight ends that we have to consider.
57:07If you drop them, they could get picked up and it's happened already.
57:10Colston Loveland, Kyle Pitts, Dalton Kincaid, two of those guys, there are extremely high expectations coming into the season and they've underperformed.
57:17And then Kincaid got off to such an amazing start that you thought, okay, this is finally the breakout that's coming.
57:23I still think there will be good opportunities for him, especially if DJ Moore continues to miss time with the shoulder injury.
57:30Like this is, you know, a matchup that they should have success against with the Raiders defense.
57:35You just saw Hunter Henry have a good game, for example, and Eli Raritan.
57:39If you're just taking both of them, like they both do well.
57:42So I'd probably hold Kincaid one more week, but I would, this would be one.
57:47Like if I could roster Brenton Strange with Kincaid or Fryermuth with Kincaid or Higby with Kincaid, like I would probably consider doing that.
57:54Of course. And I don't even want to say that he's droppable.
57:57I want to believe in Dalton Kincaid, but first of all, I don't think the route rate is going to be this high, maybe even again this year.
58:05And we know when DJ Moore comes back, it's just another option for Allen to throw to instead of Kincaid.
58:11So I think if you're really in a major roster crunch, you have a ton of dudes on by in week six,
58:18wait as late in the week as possible to do it.
58:21But yes, Kincaid is 10 team league droppable. And like, if you're really desperate in a 12 team league, I guess you could do it.
58:28But at some point he's going to pop off again and you're going to wish you had him.
58:34Well, you're going to wish you had him in your lineup when that happens.
58:38But if you've been having him in your lineup the last three weeks, you've enjoyed less than four PPR points from a
58:44point on the Rams and a reason why you might not want to sell.
58:48Why on Devontae Adams, unless someone's going to pay you a ton.
58:52Cardinals, Raiders, Chargers, Commanders, Cardinals. I know. Here's the thing.
58:55Holy crap. I know. But, but. So because someone's saying, would you trade Adams for Chuba Hubbard?
59:00That's the comment I have up here, right? Yeah.
59:03If you need a running back, that's the type of square deal.
59:06We've been told that we need to talk about more square deals.
59:10One for ones that help both fantasy managers. And I think it's a good idea.
59:14That's an example of one that probably helps the guy getting Chuba.
59:18More than the guy getting Adams. But that's a, that's a trade.
59:21I mean, I'm all over the place with Adams because like he still could score a lot of touchdowns.
59:27He's still great. He's still a great player. I mean, he destroyed Patrick Sertan.
59:31Puka is playing with some type of pre hernia, whatever the hell a pre hernia is.
59:36And if Puka misses time, Devontae Adams could be number like wide receiver three.
59:40So there's that. But then you mentioned the schedule as a good schedule, Arizona Raiders, Chargers, Commanders, Arizona.
59:45I don't know if it's a good schedule because I don't know if those teams are going to be able to score.
59:51And I, and if we don't get 50 pass attempts, if we get 35 pass attempts and the same type of target
59:58share for Devontae Adams, when Puka Naku is on the field, we could be looking at five targets.
60:03Last year, he had a 24% target share and Puka played the whole year.
60:07This year, it's not even close to that when Puka's played.
60:11So it could go up. I mean, I don't expect Puka Naku would have 24 targets.
60:15He had a career high targets yesterday, but I need these.
60:19I know they're bad defenses that they're playing. I need them to play good offenses.
60:23I need more pass volume here. If they just blow these teams out and run all over them and we get 30
60:29to 35 pass attempts from Stafford, what does that mean?
60:32We need a higher target share from Adams, which we could get.
60:36And of course he's Devontae Adams. He did it last year, but if we don't get it, then it's, it's a problem.
60:42So, I mean, I, he's maybe one of my most rostered players and I definitely think I need to try to see what I can get.
60:50I would, I would get to, I would take Chuba Hubbard for him, but I just want to make that point, but it could go in.
60:58It's all, it's all in perspective, right? It's not, you're not giving Devontae Adams away.
61:02Nobody's suggesting it. No. All right, let's do the drop-o meter zero to 10 here.
61:06Drop-o meter on Colston Loveland. Seven. Five. Oh man.
61:09I definitely want to see one game, one more game with Caleb before I drop him, but I get it.
61:15Uh, you, would you drop them for, for Brenton strange and Hunter Henry and Friermuth?
61:19If you're in a roster crunch again, there's so many leagues where managers are carrying injured players that don't have IR spots,
61:26whether they're not on IR or they're just don't have IR spots.
61:29I know, but those guys aren't, aren't necessarily going to be better than Loveland.
61:34It's not like he's injured. No, no, no. What I'm saying is like, you may be carrying, uh, Rashi rice or, um,
61:40if CD lamb misses like in, and, and you don't have the ability to, you're not cutting those guys.
61:46So can you cut another player to pick up two tight ends?
61:49Like that's the, the, the dilemma that managers have.
61:52So if you have to go one for one in terms of tight end for tight end, and you just been getting
61:58bad performance after bad performance, one good game so far for Colston Loveland, then you got to make a decision.
62:04And Brenton strange for Colston Loveland right now will help your team.
62:08All right. Three tight ends. You can only carry two Colston Loveland, Dalton Kincaid, Brenton strange, dropping a kid, dropping strange.
62:14Cause he has a buy next week. All right.
62:17Who is, who are you starting then between Loveland and Kincaid?
62:20I would too. I have so much faith. I've seen the Kincaid movie before.
62:24It's making me nervous. I don't have that much faith in him.
62:27Uh, all right. Khalif Raymond drop a meter. 10.
62:30I, I feel the same way you do about Loveland.
62:33I want to see one more game with, with Caleb.
62:36That being said, I'd rather have Bernard. I'd rather have born.
62:39So probably closer to 10. Give me a nine on Khalif Raymond, but would you be shocked if Khalif Raymond bounce back next week of Caleb's playing?
62:47Kind of, but I'm, I'm, I spent so much time that I, I'm going to keep him for another week and see, I'm going to try it.
62:55Uh, Atlanta, uh, Atlanta, the matchup for Khalif Raymond drop a meter for Carnell Tate.
62:59Oh, four. RJ Harvey. Five. Omari and Hampton. Two.
63:02Yeah. Two or three. Romeo Dobbs. Three. One. Kenyon Sadiq.
63:05Nine. Yeah. Nine or 10. Let's recap the show with a look at the waiver wire.
63:10Maybe let's talk about some more players here. Jacoby Brissett is 83% rostered.
63:14Would you rather have Jacoby Brissett or Aaron Rogers?
63:16Rogers for this week. And Rogers rest of season.
63:19And then Dave has been talking about Jameis Winston versus Roger and Jamie talking about it too.
63:24Jameis versus Rogers is a tough call. And cousins.
63:27And cousins. Yeah. Cousins with the bills matchup. That's just phenomenal.
63:30Three quarterbacks have thrown at least three touchdown passes against Buffalo and cousins before this horrible game.
63:35I guess it wasn't that bad. 15.7 fantasy points and got pulled before this game.
63:39He had scored 26 or more fantasy points in three straight games against the Chargers.
63:4419.8 in every game before this. What's that? Yep.
63:4619.8. Yep. Absolutely. So definitely could bounce back. Kyler Murray is also on this list and he's going into his buy.
63:52And I talked about how he hasn't had Jefferson, Addison and Hawkinson in any game.
63:57He also had a good game. He ran a ton, but he did that without his left tackle and without it.
64:03He actually did that without two starting offensive linemen.
64:06So yeah, kudos. It was impressive. He had an impressive game.
64:09And not only that, the touchdown throw to Justin Jefferson was really, really good.
64:13But Dave, you talk about the schedule for Matthew Stafford.
64:16I mean, oh yeah, it's great for Kyler Murray.
64:19Incredible. After the buy Colts, Lions, Bills. Packers after.
64:21Yeah. Packers is good too, right? Yeah. It's a good schedule.
64:25You just need to stash him. So we're going to talk about him on the Beat the Waiver Wire show later this week.
64:31Might even be the cover boy for it. Okay.
64:34Tyler Huntley in deep leagues. I don't know if that was the best game he's ever had.
64:39It may have been. Might have been. Tua Tungabai.
64:42Probably was. Tua could start, but hopefully we get panics.
64:45Any interest in Deshaun Watson against Baltimore? No. No.
64:47Okay. How about Baker Mayfield? I don't even know what Baker's roster percentage is.
64:51No. Look it up. Okay. 44%. No. Okay. Not yet.
64:54The answer is not yet. If you're going to get him at all.
64:58At running back, Zach Charbonnet is someone who I don't think he's going to play this week because they're playing.
65:04He's not. They already ruled him out. Oh, they ruled him out.
65:07Okay. I'm sorry. But then he's got to play next week, right?
65:11Otherwise, he stays on the Publis, right? No. I think he's out for the year.
65:15Because if you start his practice. He stays on the Publis.
65:19Yeah. But not to come back. If you start a guy's practice.
65:22Unless I'm wrong, right? You start a guy's practice window.
65:25He's got three weeks to come back. If he doesn't come back, he's out for the year, I think.
65:31I think you're right. All right. So Charbonnet, 84% rostered.
65:34Woody Marks is the prize this week. But then we've got Damian Pierce and Marshawn Lloyd and Kendry Miller who all have
65:40a case to be made as the top guy to get if you can't get Woody Marks.
65:45Just to recap, how would you rank that? Pierce, Lloyd, Miller.
65:48Miller, that's your ranking, Jamie? As of now, yes.
65:51I'll take Lloyd first, then Pierce, then Miller. Okay.
65:54Because if Barkley's out, I would rank Pierce ahead of Lloyd.
65:57Okay. And then Jaleel McLaughlin's another guy who could get some – who could have a start this week.
66:02Tajay Spears did have nine catches. He had five in his first four games.
66:07And Roshan Johnson, I just wanted to point out about Roshan.
66:10He had five catches against the Packers. They all came in garbage time.
66:14Can I mention one more thing about Pierce? Yeah.
66:16I would imagine if Saquon were out this week, Pierce would not be the only running back that the Eagles would give
66:23the ball to and then watch them get like two yards.
66:26Like Carson Steele is on their roster. They're Jaden Blue for whatever it's worth.
66:30I don't know if they're comfortable putting him on the field, but he's someone that can give them a little bit of explosiveness.
66:37We saw last week that Pierce got every single touch.
66:40It was because they had nobody else. And now they'll be able to restock for a week.
66:45So Pierce is the best of those running backs in Philadelphia, but it could be really bad.
66:50He won't get every touch. Um, and then I just wanted to point out that Cam Scadaboo has four fumbles in five games.
66:57So I don't know what happens if they have to bench him, if it's Najee, if it's Tracy, but if you're desperate,
67:03you could take a look at that situation. And Samaj P.
67:06What's that? Remember when Devin Singletary was a thing?
67:09Yeah. Yeah. Samaj P. Ryan is 11% rostered. He might get more work coming out of their buy.
67:14Uh, wide receiver. Devon Vele is of those four shallow league guys.
67:18Vele, Worthy, Wandale, and Coleman. Jamie, is Vele the best to get?
67:21Vele is the best. Uh, I think short-term and long-term, you know, Coleman might be the best short-term just given the matchup.
67:28Um, Wandale is probably the safest. Just given what he's given, given what he's done.
67:32But I mean, look, Vele has been three of five games, you know, at least the number three receiver.
67:38Yeah. You guys were right on the Charbonnet thing.
67:40It's a 21 day window once they designate him to return.
67:44And if he's doesn't return after that, then he's on the pup list for the remainder of the year.
67:49He can't play. Yeah. So he's got until October 22nd to, uh, to come back either 22nd, 23rd, depending on when he actually was designated.
67:57So that would be before next week's game. So, right.
68:00The, so he can miss this week's game and still be activated for week seven.
68:04It makes sense. Is what I would expect. Not rushing back for a Thursday game and then have him ready to go.
68:10Um, all right. So then we've got Jeremy Bernard and Kendrick Bourne.
68:14We've got Keenan Allen facing Tennessee. That seems like a pretty good matchup.
68:18You got the bills guys with Shakir and Coleman.
68:20You got Flanoy maybe. And the thing is last year, CD lamb did miss four games.
68:25I mean, technically only missed three, but he barely played in one in the other one.
68:30And Floyd didn't do much. Floyd had one good game.
68:33It was Jake Ferguson. That doesn't mean it wouldn't happen this year, but Jake Ferguson, who was great last year.
68:39So keep it in mind. We talked about Efton Chisholm.
68:42If you were going to gamble on an Eagles receiver this week, if Devante Smith doesn't play against the Panthers, which Eagles receiver would you gamble on?
68:50Wicks and PPR Cooper and non and half. I would take Wicks all the way, but Cooper second.
68:55Yeah. Wicks had eight targets. He had a good game.
68:58Five catches for 63 yards on eight targets. Cooper.
69:01Okay. Cooper had three targets. Lemon had seven. He's done well in three or five games so far.
69:06Wicks has. So Malik Washington is 10, 10 to 11 PPR 11 to 12.
69:10PPR fantasy points. Although we haven't seen a game with Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell and Malik Washington and Jordan Tyson could come back at some point.
69:18And then at tight end. So with Mark Andrews, Jake Ferguson and Kyle Pitts, how many of them are you dropping for
69:24Higby or strange or Fryer Muth or Henry or whatever?
69:27I mean, Ferguson is difficult because if lamb is out, I would like to roster him and potentially start him.
69:33But it sounds like lamb's going to play. Uh, the other two I think are, are in the conversation.
69:39I, it pits is very similar to Loveland and Kincaid.
69:42Like I'd like to see what happens if Penix is healthy for another game because starting to see, you know, the, the,
69:48the benefit of a better quarterback and the system.
69:51But, you know, if you're, if you need a starter for this week, you know, you're one and four, two and three, you need to win.
69:58And I'd rather have strange. All right. Anything else you want to talk about?
70:03Chiefs, Colts, 49ers are the DSTs to stream. And we love the Chiefs DST.
70:07Although didn't they kind of suck against the Dolphins?
70:09They did. Didn't we fall into this trap before?
70:12Um, okay. And then, uh, the kickers were Butker, Boswell and Zavada.
70:16Uh, they did not suck against the Dolphins. They were fine against the Dolphins.
70:20They've had 10 or fewer fantasy points in each of their past three games against the Colts, Dolphins and Raiders.
70:26And they were terrible against the Colts and Raiders.
70:28They haven't had a sack since week one. Hmm.
70:31Are we sure this is a good defense? I know they're an aggressive.
70:35I know that they're playing. That's all I care about.
70:38Right. I mean, that's a huge part of it too.
70:41All right, folks. Thanks so much for watching and listening.
