Player insights

97

A.J. Brown

NegativeRole0:10

With Devontae Smith's injury, holding A.J. Brown is recommended as a long-term play; Wicks and Adonai Mitchell are described as similar players who will both be heavily involved in the Eagles offense.

Insight page
NegativeProjection30:30

A.J. Brown's value depends on his return to form; source notes if A.J. Brown returns to being A.J. Brown (elite level), then trading JSN for Jefferson and A.J. Brown would be a winning trade. However, source still advises against it due to the risk of losing league-winning core players.

Insight page

Aaron Jones

PositiveValue63:10

Ranked highest among Judkins and Emmanuel Wilson in a start-one scenario; described as 'the highest rank' by Square. Get.

Insight page

Aaron Rodgers

PositiveMatchup6:28

In a start/sit decision between Rodgers, Sam Darnold, and Jameis Winston (4-point passing TD scoring), the source recommends Rodgers as the clear choice, noting that Winston faces bad weather concerns and Darnold has a poor matchup.

Insight page

Adonai Mitchell

NegativeRole0:10

Adonai Mitchell is described as similar to Wicks and will be heavily involved in the Eagles offense; however, holding Wicks is recommended over dropping for Mitchell due to DeVonta Smith's injury.

Insight page
NegativeInjury6:15

Ruled out for Week 5.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveRole69:00

Identified as a contingency target if McLaurin or James is unavailable; with Diggs also potentially out, Williams could see increased opportunity in the Commanders' receiving corps.

Insight page
PositiveRole69:00

Square. Get suggests Antonio Williams as a flex option if McLaurin or James is out, indicating Williams has flex appeal in a scenario where Washington's receiving depth is compromised.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

NegativeInjury60:54

Todd Bowles indicated the team will check out Mayfield's thumb injury, with the plan to start Jalen Daniels next week instead, suggesting Mayfield may be unavailable or limited.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveValue61:15

In a keeper league where the questioner has both Bijan and JSN but feels the rest of the team is underwhelming with Burden, JMO, and Loveland underperforming, the hosts advise against trading Bijan, emphasizing that with Bijan and JSN the team can still win and it's too early in the season to give up.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveProjection24:00

Braylon Allen recommended as a start over Harvey and Montgomery in a pick-two scenario; source indicates Allen is the preferred play in PPR formats.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeDepth Chart6:15

Mentioned in context of Adonai Mitchell being ruled out for the week; Hall's status or role not explicitly discussed in the excerpt.

Insight page
NegativeDepth Chart6:25

Breece Hall is ruled out for the week; Adonai Mitchell is also ruled out, affecting backfield availability.

Insight page
NegativeInjury67:24

In a trade comparison, one speaker expressed concern about Breece Hall's injury status, stating 'I would prefer the other side of that over Brees Hall who's already injured,' suggesting Hall's injury history makes him less desirable than alternatives like Derek Henry and Devante Adams.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

NegativeProjection26:36

Brian Robinson Jr. not recommended as a start over David Montgomery against Tennessee; source prefers Montgomery due to game script and possession opportunity.

Insight page
PositiveValue50:39

Brian Robinson Jr. was acquired by a good team in a 14-team league trade, received alongside Justin Herbert in exchange for Saquon Barkley and Kirk Cousins from a 0-4 team; the trade created league controversy as the receiving team gained significant advantage despite no suspected collusion.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveValue45:16

Brock Bowers is characterized as a potential difference-making player with upside comparable to league-winning caliber performers; the source argues there is value and logic to acquiring him in trade, though acknowledging uncertainty about whether he will outperform other tight end options down the line.

Insight page
PositiveProjection45:59

Brock Bowers is generating interest and has some value proposition in trades; the source acknowledges there is logic and idea behind acquiring Bowers, with some belief he could outperform the players given up (Omarion Hampton and Dalton Schultz) down the line, though the certainty is not absolute.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection0:10

Purdy is the clear choice over Goff and May for rest-of-season quarterback play, with the source stating this is the only reasonable answer to the question.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveRole70:00

Square. Get recommends Carnell Tate over Harold Fannin Jr. and later over Tate Harvey or Jawan Johnson. Tate is described as legit and was moved around last week—not just lining up on the outside but getting slot snaps, which is how you beat the Texans; the Cowboys showed that you need your receiver inside against those corners.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeValue22:24

Chase Brown discussed in trade context as comparable in value to Jalen Coker; source notes Hampton and Coker are in the same range, making Chase Brown and a receiver (likely Garrett Wilson) equivalent value in a proposed trade.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveValue59:47

Square. Get indicates willingness to trade Neighbors and Kikade, and even Boston, to acquire Olave, suggesting confidence in Olave's value relative to the asking price.

Insight page
PositiveValue63:20

Acquired in a dynasty trade where the trader gave up Alec Pierce, a late 2027 second, a late 2028 first, and a late 2029 first to get Olave and Tyreek Hill; Square. Get notes 'a little bit of an overpay, but you're getting Olave, which is great' in a win-now mode context.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeValue65:47

Trade target in mid-season; one speaker successfully negotiated Chuba for a second-round pick after rejecting multiple higher asks (second and third, second and fourth, Debo and Chuba for two and two threes). The speaker felt this was a win because Chuba was in demand among competing teams and few teams could offer picks for him.

Insight page
PositiveValue65:55

Square. Get traded a late 2027 second for Chuba Hubbard in a dynasty league and describes it as 'a great trade' and 'a big win for you,' indicating strong value for acquiring Hubbard at that price point.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveRole4:10

Preferred tight end start over Cole Kincaid in Week 5 start/sit decision.

Insight page
PositiveValue5:10

Considered one of the two best players in a trade evaluation where he was given up along with Jamison Williams and J.K. Dobbins for Mark Andrews and Saquon Barkley; Square. Get suggests Loveland and Jamo may be the strongest assets in the deal.

Insight page
NegativeProjection61:15

Loveland was mentioned as underperforming in a keeper league, but the hosts note that Loveland had a productive week last week, suggesting recent positive performance despite earlier struggles.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveInjury68:28

Referenced as potentially out; if Moore is unavailable, Keon Coleman becomes a relevant waiver/trade target. The Eagles are described as a 'collapsing team,' suggesting Moore's absence would create opportunity for Coleman.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeValue68:27

In a non-PPR trade scenario (Swift and Higgins for Puka), speakers favor the Puka side, suggesting Swift's value is lower than Puka Nakua in non-PPR formats.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

NegativeValue44:50

Dalton Schultz was part of a controversial trade where the commissioner gave him up along with Omarion Hampton to receive Brock Bowers; the source evaluates the trade as having some underlying logic despite the ethical concerns around the commissioner's conduct.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveUsage67:29

Target share analysis shows significant variance based on Puka Nakua's availability: 22% and 18% target share in two games with Nakua; 33% and 26.5% target share in two games without him. Despite the reduction when Nakua plays, speakers expect touchdowns to continue coming for Adams, making him a reliable scorer.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeMatchup26:36

David Montgomery recommended as a start over Brian Robinson Jr. against Tennessee; source cites favorable game script (Eagles likely to run away with game against weak Titans defense), possibility of running away with the game, and opportunity for extended possessions. However, source expresses concern about Montgomery's lack of goal-line touches and notes this may be his last viable week if he doesn't score.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury0:10

DeVonta Smith is dealing with an injury that impacts Eagles receiver strategy; his injury status is cited as a reason to hold A.J. Brown and Wicks long-term.

Insight page
PositiveValue68:41

In a PPR trade comparison (DeVonta Smith for Jeremiah Love), one speaker prefers Smith over Love, suggesting Smith has better value or production in PPR formats.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveUsage0:12

In a sit-one scenario with Parker Washington and Matthew Golden, Wilson is retained despite role concerns; the source prefers to chase Wilson's volume and hope for improvement rather than bench him.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup7:09

In a pick-two decision, Garrett Wilson is recommended as a start alongside Michael Wilson, despite weather concerns for the Giants game.

Insight page
PositiveProjection28:48

Garrett Wilson recommended as a start in a three-of-four receiver selection; source indicates Wilson should be started over Dante Myers.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup70:52

Square. Get recommends sitting Garrett Wilson over Devontae Adams, Parker Washington, and Malik Nabors in a start/sit decision. Wilson is the sit choice, though if weather is really bad in New York (where Wilson plays), he would be the sit; if weather is bad in Washington instead, Nabors might be the sit.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveValue51:56

George Pickens was traded for Jekoski Merritt late in the season in a league where the receiving team had no running backs and was competing for playoffs; the trade sparked major league controversy with calls for veto, but was ultimately allowed to proceed; the receiving team won the league despite starting with minimal running back production.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeValue5:10

Traded away along with Colston Loveland and Jamison Williams for Mark Andrews and Saquon Barkley; not identified as one of the strongest assets in the deal.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeUsage65:18

Noted as going through red zone work alongside Tee Higgins, with Square. Get noting 'We'll see what happens there' in the context of live updates from the field.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveValue70:44

Square. Get identifies Jahmyr Gibbs as the best RB2 dart throw by far for the season, indicating strong value and upside at the running back position.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

NegativeValue22:24

Jalen Coker valued in the same range as Will Hampton in trade discussions; source indicates both players are comparable assets in mid-season trades.

Insight page

Jalon Daniels

NegativeDepth Chart60:54

Todd Bowles indicated the plan is to start Jalen Daniels next week, with Baker Mayfield's thumb to be checked but Daniels expected to get the start.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeMatchup6:28

Winston faces bad weather concerns for his upcoming game, making him an unattractive start option compared to Aaron Rodgers.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveValue23:00

James Cook valued highly in trade context; source indicates trading Cook and Neighbors for Jefferson and Judkins is a terrible trade, implying Cook's value is significantly higher.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveValue5:10

Considered one of the two best players in a trade evaluation where he was given up along with Colston Loveland and J.K. Dobbins for Mark Andrews and Saquon Barkley; Square. Get suggests Jamo and Loveland may be the strongest assets in the deal.

Insight page
PositiveValue6:13

In a trade discussion, the source states Jameson Williams should be a better play than most other players in the proposed trade, suggesting he has strong value relative to the trade context.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeMatchup3:58

Preferred start over Jordan Love in a PPR league with 6-point passing touchdowns; Love's matchup against Chicago's strong defense is unfavorable, though Daniels' game carries weather risk.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveRole70:12

Square. Get picks Waddle over Jamo when asked to choose two between Waddle, Jamo, and Michael Wilson, indicating Waddle is a preferred start in this week's matchup.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeValue68:41

In a PPR trade comparison (DeVonta Smith for Jeremiah Love), one speaker prefers Love, but another speaker prefers Smith, suggesting mixed or uncertain value for Love compared to Smith.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

NegativeValue42:20

Joe Burrow was drafted significantly ahead of Matthew Stafford in one-quarterback leagues (round 8 or 10 range), establishing him as a higher-tier quarterback option; however, the source notes this draft capital advantage represents only a negligible win in trade value, suggesting Burrow's ADP premium over Stafford does not translate to substantial fantasy advantage.

Insight page
NegativeProjection42:24

Joe Burrow is currently outscoring Matthew Stafford by 17 fantasy points over four weeks; he was drafted as a top-five quarterback going into the season (fifth to sixth round ADP in major leagues), not an eighth to tenth round pick as one speaker claimed, making him a legitimate starting quarterback option rather than a meaningless late-round selection.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeMatchup3:58

Matchup against Chicago's strong defense is unfavorable; not preferred over Jaden Daniels in start/sit decision.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

PositiveValue50:39

Justin Herbert was acquired by a good team in a 14-team league trade, receiving him along with Brian Robinson Jr. in exchange for Saquon Barkley and Kirk Cousins from a 0-4 team; the trade created league controversy as the receiving team gained significant advantage despite no suspected collusion.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveProjection31:28

Justin Jefferson's target per route run rate is 30.4%, described as terrific; in three games played, he has a 25% target share despite limited snaps in one game (two routes, six snaps). Source notes early signs are very encouraging and this week's performance will help establish his true value.

Insight page
PositiveRole31:48

Justin Jefferson is being heavily targeted on nearly every snap; source emphasizes the Cardinals are really trying hard to get him involved frequently, indicating a significant role expansion compared to last year.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

NegativeRole60:00

Discussed in context of a two-flex PPR league where the questioner drafted both Johnson and Tucker Kraft at tight end; the hosts affirm it's acceptable to start multiple tight ends in flex spots, noting it's become necessary at this point in the season.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveProjection62:53

Noted as having 'the highest upside' in a start-one scenario among Malik Washington, Casey Concepcion, and Kalief Raymond in PPR format.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

PositiveValue65:03

Ranked above Adam I. Mitchell in a rest-of-season PPR comparison, with Square. Get stating 'Keenan Allen' as the preferred option.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveValue41:34

Kenneth Walker is identified as one of the five players defining fantasy football this year, underscoring his elite tier status and league-winning potential; the source emphasizes his value by noting he was left on the bench by an inactive manager and became the centerpiece of a controversial trade, highlighting how critical his production is to fantasy outcomes.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

NegativeRole4:25

Considered in start/sit decision alongside Monongai McConkie and Woody Marks; recommended start if McConkie is ruled out and DJ Moore is unavailable.

Insight page
PositiveRole68:28

Identified as a contingency target if D.J. Moore is unavailable; playing for the Eagles, described as a 'collapsing team,' which could increase Coleman's opportunity and target share.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

NegativeValue50:52

Kirk Cousins was traded away by a 0-4 team manager alongside Saquon Barkley to a good team in exchange for Justin Herbert and Brian Robinson Jr.; the trade created league controversy as the receiving team gained significant advantage by acquiring elite talent from a struggling manager.

Insight page

Malik Washington

PositiveValue62:53

Described as 'the safest' option in a start-one scenario among Washington, Keaton Mitchell, Casey Concepcion, and Kalief Raymond in PPR format.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveValue5:10

Received in trade for Colston Loveland, Jamison Williams, and J.K. Dobbins; identified as the best player in the deal by one Square. Get.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

NegativeRole0:12

In a sit-one scenario with Garrett Wilson and Parker Washington, Golden is the clear choice to bench, with the source stating 'You have to sit Golden.'

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

NegativeProjection42:22

Matthew Stafford has not performed well in the current fantasy season; the source explicitly states 'Stafford hasn't really been that good this year' and ranks him as QB 12, indicating below-average quarterback production relative to draft expectations.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveMatchup7:09

In a pick-two decision between Michael Wilson and Garrett Wilson, the source recommends Michael Wilson, noting he should be started despite bad weather concerns for the Giants game.

Insight page
PositiveRole70:12

Square. Get picks Michael Wilson over Jamo when asked to choose two between Waddle, Jamo, and Michael Wilson, indicating Wilson is a preferred start in this week's matchup.

Insight page

Mike Gesicki

PositiveValue65:30

Ranked as a potential starter in a start-two scenario among Concepcion, Roman Wilson, Tyler Algier, and Mike Kosicki in PPR format; Square. Get considers Gesicki as an option, particularly 'if any of the Bengals receivers are up.'

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeValue44:50

Omarion Hampton was part of a controversial trade where the commissioner gave up Hampton and Dalton Schultz to receive Brock Bowers; the source notes Hampton was originally expected to be a high producer at a more important position (running back), giving the trade some underlying logic despite the commissioner's questionable conduct.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole0:12

In a sit-one scenario with Garrett Wilson and Matthew Golden, Parker Washington cannot be benched, indicating strong role/usage confidence.

Insight page
PositiveProjection28:48

Parker Washington recommended as a definite start in a three-of-four receiver selection; source indicates Washington should never be benched.

Insight page
PositiveRole64:23

Square. Get recommends to 'Keep. Hold. He's good' despite two recent bad weeks; notes that last week he was shadowed by DJ Turner, a top cornerback for Cincinnati, but only when he was outside, not when he was in the slot, suggesting role flexibility and upcoming positive regression.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeInjury29:24

Puka Nakua has a pre-hernia (groin issue) that may require surgery at some point; there is risk of re-aggravation requiring surgery soon. Source notes this concern was reported before his recent return to play, so the severity may have changed. Source advises caution but suggests not being overly worried given his recent games played.

Insight page
NegativeValue30:00

Puka Nakua trade consideration: source suggests if you can get back a premier player, it may be worth selling now to maximize value before potential surgery. However, source advises against trading for two inconsistent receivers in a two-for-one deal.

Insight page
NegativeValue64:05

Involved in a dynasty trade where Puka and Malik Washington were traded for Kyron Johnson and DeVontae Adams; Square. Get rates this as 'B' tier, with the caveat that if Ashen Gentry gets hurt, the trader will regret it.

Insight page
PositiveProjection67:02

In a trade comparison (Puka Nakua and Breece Hall vs. Derek Henry and Devante Adams), one speaker favored Puka and Hall despite the other preferring Henry and Adams. Puka is noted as consistently doubted but reliable; speakers acknowledge his value despite recurring skepticism about his performance.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveUsage24:12

RJ Harvey's target share over the last two games is notable; source notes Bo Nix's running back target rate has been elevated the last two games, but cautions this is likely unsustainable as Sean Payton takes over play-calling and the offense will likely shift to targeting more wide receivers.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

PositiveValue65:30

Ranked as a starter in a start-two scenario among Concepcion, Roman Wilson, Tyler Algier, and Mike Kosicki in PPR format; Square. Get selects Wilson as one of the two starters.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeMatchup6:28

In a start/sit decision, Darnold is not recommended due to a poor matchup, making him a less attractive option than Aaron Rodgers.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeValue5:10

Received in trade for Colston Loveland, Jamison Williams, and J.K. Dobbins; analysts express skepticism about his value, noting the Eagles offense may be poor and uncertainty about his return timeline from injury; trade graded as D to B depending on Square. Get.

Insight page
NegativeInjury5:18

Barkley's injury status is uncertain; the source notes "we don't know how long Barkley's out" and calls the situation "risky," estimating a few weeks of absence.

Insight page
NegativeValue6:18

In a 14-team league trade, Saquon Barkley was dealt away by a 0-4 team manager to a good team in exchange for Justin Herbert and Brian Robinson Jr. The receiving team gained significant value by acquiring Barkley, a top-tier running back, while the struggling team gave up elite talent; the trade sparked league controversy over fairness despite no suspected collusion.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeInjury61:08

Stefan Diggs was not at practice, raising concern about his availability for the upcoming week.

Insight page
NegativeInjury69:00

Referenced as likely to be out; if Diggs is unavailable, it impacts the Commanders' receiving corps and creates opportunity for other receivers like Antonio Williams.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeUsage65:18

Noted as going through red zone work alongside Jamar Chase, with Square. Get noting 'We'll see what happens there' in the context of live updates from the field.

Insight page
NegativeInjury68:27

In a non-PPR trade evaluation (Swift and Higgins for Puka), Higgins is noted as a touchdown-dependent player, but speakers express concern about his injury status, describing it as 'a classic Higgins start to get hurt' and suggesting a potential season-ending injury pattern.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveInjury61:08

Terry McLaurin was at practice, indicating he is healthy and available, in contrast to Stefan Diggs who was not at practice.

Insight page
NegativeValue64:00

Square. Get states 'McLaurin has no trade value at this time' and recommends waiting 'a few weeks with Jaden' before attempting to trade him, suggesting current depressed value due to quarterback situation.

Insight page
PositiveInjury69:00

Referenced as potentially out; if McLaurin is unavailable along with Diggs, Antonio Williams becomes a relevant waiver/trade target for the Commanders.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeRole60:00

Discussed in context of a two-flex PPR league where the questioner drafted both Kraft and Juwan Johnson at tight end; the hosts affirm it's acceptable to start multiple tight ends in flex spots, noting it's become necessary at this point in the season.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

PositiveValue63:20

Acquired alongside Chris Olave in a dynasty trade where the trader gave up Alec Pierce, a late 2027 second, a late 2028 first, and a late 2029 first; part of a win-now strategy despite being described as 'a little bit of an overpay.'

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeRole4:25

Considered in start/sit decision alongside Monongai McConkie and Keon Coleman; recommended start if McConkie is ruled out and DJ Moore is unavailable.

2:04This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. What a play!
2:07It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
2:12He's just gonna go the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
2:17Oh baby, it is mailbag time, and a very special mailbag.
2:20Dan has something prepared for us that I totally forgot to tell Jamie about.
2:25What do you think it is, Jamie? I really don't know.
2:28He's going to review a movie for us. Oh, Rocky.
2:31Yes, we did it. We finally watched it, baby.
2:34Within the movie, I've only heard the original song, that basic version.
2:37There's a guitar solo within that song that I didn't know about.
2:41They drag it on for seven minutes as he's running through the streets and stuff.
2:45It's awesome. You gotta hold that mic right up to your mouth, because you're a little quiet today.
2:51Put your mixer up. Fix some levels, too. There's levels to this.
2:54Dan is in a new location today, holding his microphone again.
2:58It's very Dan. You know what's great? When a cable company quotes you, that they're gonna be there at a certain time.
3:04You wake up an hour early to make sure you don't miss it.
3:08They text you 30 minutes before that time that they're on their way, and then they get there.
3:14What was it? One hour and 35 minutes after the time.
3:17And then your whole plan of having them complete their process of being done upgrading the internet before your show is just totally ruined.
3:24So here I am, in a new location, holding a microphone.
3:28It's great. It's just great. You expect, you know, when you have the early morning appointment, you expect them to be on time.
3:35No. Yeah, you do. Exactly. You do. Because I'm on time.
3:38I'm waiting up for them. Okay. I can't wait until we're about 15 minutes in the show and Dan's arms get tired.
3:45I'm already tired. The arms are already tired. He's switching a lot.
3:48All right, let's go to some YouTube questions to start the show.
3:52PPR, six point per pass and touchdown. Do I go with the Love-Watson stack or do I start Jaden Daniels?
3:58I go Jaden Daniels and Watson. I don't really love this matchup for Love.
4:02Chicago's been playing great on defense, so I'll go with Daniels too, with some reservation of that potentially being a really bad weather game.
4:10I don't really love either play at all. I came for Kincaid or Loveland.
4:14Now I'm here for the Epic Rocky review. I'm so excited.
4:17One thing at a time here, Kincaid or Loveland?
4:20Loveland for me. Kincaid for me. All right. Six point.
4:23Oh, did that one. Start two. Monongai McConkie. I'm already tired.
4:26Woody Marks, Keon Coleman. Monongai McConkie, Woody Marks, Keon Coleman.
4:29I got a lot of guys I may not play here.
4:33Assuming DJ Moore is out, McConkie's in, Monongai are in, then I would go with Monongai and McConkie.
4:38We'll see if this works. Let's go with – well, Monongai's probably not going to – you're saying if Monongai plays, Jamie?
4:45If Monongai plays – all right. So I gave the scenario if Monongai plays.
4:49You can give them a certain scenario if Monongai's out.
4:52Coleman and McConkie for me. But I don't know if McConkie – I don't think McConkie's going to play.
4:58Yeah, I don't think – I think McConkie's even less likely to play.
5:02Seems that way. He hasn't practiced as of Friday morning.
5:05He hasn't practiced. So you're going, Woody Marks and Keon Coleman.
5:08Yeah, you're not much of a choice. Are you picking up enough sound from here?
5:13I mean, it's a little quiet. Is it? I have my mixer all the way up.
5:17Yeah, but you're just not that close. All right.
5:20It's okay. Scadaboo or Algier? Scadaboo. Scadaboo. Grade the trade.
5:23I sent – I think you have to yell, Dan.
5:26Just yell. I said Colson, Loveland, and Jamison Williams, and J.K.
5:30Dobbins. So gave up Loveland, Jamo, and Dobbins for Laporta and Saquon.
5:33Damn. F. F. F. He got Laporta and Saquon.
5:36I don't know how much I love Saquon. And I don't love Saquon.
5:40Jamo and Loveland might be the two best players.
5:43I don't know. Jamo and – No, Laporta is the best player in this – He is right now?
5:48No, he's – I think he's the best player.
5:51I mean, you could argue that Jamo could be – I'm fine with that.
5:55It's not a great trade. I don't hate it.
5:58I'll be nicer. D. No, I'm going to give it a B.
6:02Yeah, you are a D. I don't hate it.
6:04There's upside to potential – I mean, if Saquon just returns healthy, as bad as that offense is going to be, it should – I don't know.
6:13I feel like he should still be a better play than anyone in that trade except for Jamo.
6:18The Eagles just may be awful, and we don't know how long Barkley's out.
6:22Yeah. That's risky. Let's call it a few weeks.
6:25Breece Hall, Adonai Mitchell ruled out this week. Okay.
6:28Start Sam Darnold, Aaron Rodgers, or Jameis Winston. Four point per passing touchdown.
6:32I got the ugly call. I'm going with Rodgers.
6:34I would go with Rodgers. He's a very handsome guy, Dan.
6:38According to – Didn't somebody once tell you you look like him or something?
6:42Oh, well, then he's very handsome. I thought I heard that once.
6:46I think that's why you're saying that. You can't start Winston because this game could be really bad weather.
6:51I wouldn't start him, and Darnold's not a good matchup, so Rodgers feels easy to me.
6:56All right. Dan, grab a pillow, put it on your desk, and put the mic on it.
7:01C. Warren in all caps. I don't have a pillow anywhere near me, but thank you for that idea, and I might have one actually somewhere near me.
7:10Pillow is a bad idea. That's a terrible idea.
7:13You need something firm, otherwise the microphone is going to go right through the pillow.
7:17Right now it's in a coffee mug. I feel like it's pretty good.
7:21It is legitimately in a coffee mug, and I don't think it sounds bad.
7:25Is it good? It's fine. It's a little quiet, but it's fine.
7:29Pick two, neighbors, Garrett Wilson or Michael Wilson? Michael Wilson for sure, and despite it being bad weather.
7:34I'm going to go neighbors. I'm going to go neighbors.
7:37I'm going to go with Michael Wilson and Garrett Wilson.
7:40All right. So are we really thinking the weather is going to be that bad for this giant game?
7:46That's what we've been hearing. I don't know if it actually is, but that's what we've been hearing.
7:52Let's see. Right now we don't have any. Back to holding the thing.
7:56We don't have any major red warnings or orange yet for Kevin Roth.
8:00So just so I'm clear, you moved everything but the mic stand, right?
8:03Yeah, that's too hard to move. You know how it is.
8:07You see it right there. It's on your desk, and it's like you don't want to move that.
8:12You know what I mean? The mixer you can pack up.
8:16You can unplug things. You can wrap it around.
8:18It's a pretty simple process. How about that comment?
8:21Go to the deli and get a sandwich to prop the mic with.
8:25If you're going to NJ Deli's, that'll be correct because those sandwiches are stacked.
8:29So yes, you can prop a stacked sandwich. I might get a good stacked sandwich.
8:34I've been thinking about it after this pod's done.
8:37Peanut butter and jelly or turkey sandwich for lunch?
8:39Turkey. Come on. What are we? 10 years old here?
8:42Neither. A few more questions, and then we'll get into the emails.
8:46A good turkey sandwich does taste good, but I wouldn't go that direction.
8:50Can't wait to hear the sound of the coffee mug breaking.
8:53You won't hear it because it'll be too far away from this mic.
8:57Rams or Jets DST? Rams. I just dropped the Rams, but not for the Jets for a better option.
9:03Rams is fine. I have no faith in the Jets DST.
9:06Pro audio engineer here, but what do I know?
9:09Is this the guy? Hey, see Warren. That's the pillow guy, right?
9:13I respect him. That's the pillow guy? I didn't know you were pro audio engineers.
9:17He says the softness of the pillow absorbs vibration much better than the book.
9:21I mean, I don't know how to prop it on the pillow.
9:25I'm going to give it a shot. I'm just saying that the pillow is not going to be a sturdy thing for
9:32the mic to stand on, and then it's going to fall.
9:35I like somebody's comment said Dan broke into an empty house.
9:38What did the comment say? That you broke into an empty house?
9:42Yeah. Oh, this is interesting. He bugs me. He doesn't like him, yeah.
9:46What's that guy's name? I don't follow the NBA very well.
9:49Mike or Mark Dagenalt? Mike? Mark? Thunder Coach. It's funny that I got Dagenalt, but I can't remember his first name.
9:56You look like that actor, and I can never figure out what his name is, but he's like- Tom Cruise.
10:02Oh, yeah. That squirrely guy. One blues fan wants to do.
10:05You don't look like this guy. You don't look like this guy at all.
10:09It's a terrible call. It's a terrible call. Let's see it.
10:13Let's see it. Bring up Dagenalt. Who? Yeah, like that's not you.
10:16It's similar. I don't like his hair. The front of his hair.
10:20It's too short. You gotta let it grow a little bit.
10:23Would you drop Wicks for Adonai Mitchell? If you're not playing Wicks, that's probably a good long-term play, but they're kind of similar.
10:30I mean, they're both going to be heavily involved.
10:33I think at this point with Devontae Smith's injury, I'd probably just hold on to Wicks.
10:38Purdy, Goff, or May? Rest of season? Purdy. Purdy, yeah.
10:41How could you answer that any differently? Dan is going to tell people later today he did five sets of bicep curls this week.
10:48I'm going to be so sore with the stupid thing.
10:51Half gallon of coffee ice cream will prop it up, too.
10:54I'm telling you, coffee ice cream. I've heard from a lot of people who listen to Fantasy Football Today, by the way,
11:01that they don't want to admit it, but coffee ice cream is an underrated flavor that they like a lot.
11:07Who wouldn't want to admit that? Yeah, because of things that happened like when I admitted it.
11:12It's a horrible. What happened after that? It's not a bad take.
11:16It's a great take. If you're a coffee connoisseur, somebody who loves to wake up with a cup of coffee in the
11:23morning, it's your favorite part of the morning. How could you not like it in ice cream form?
11:28Sadiq? I can't wait to listen back to the show on a thousand decibels to hear what Dan had to say.
11:34You can't hear me? Even with it this close?
11:37I can hear you. You're fine. Yeah. Ken and Sadiq, Dallas Goddard, or Mike Kosicki?
11:42This is the sliding scale, right? So if the Bengals are out, it's Kosicki.
11:46If Goddard's in and the Bengals receivers are in, I would go Goddard.
11:50If Sadiq is the fallback play. This is crazy.
11:53Adam looks like Adam Arkin. I don't know who that is.
11:56Pull the picture. I didn't know who it is.
11:59I didn't know him by name, but I don't get this at all.
12:03Sit one. Garrett Wilson, Parker Washington, or Matthew Golden?
12:05I'd sit Golden. You have to sit Golden. Will you?
12:08I would sit. I might sit Garrett Wilson, but role-wise, it's hard to do that.
12:13So I'm fine chasing the volume with Wilson and hoping things get better and benching Golden.
12:18Can't bench Parker. This is Adam Arkin. This is who they think you look like?
12:22No way. I really wish I could figure out this actor in my head who you look like.
12:28What's he from? I get Henry Rowan Gardner a lot.
12:31He's in a million different little things, but I don't know exactly what.
12:35Henry Rowan Gardner. Dan's sneezing. Disgusting. All right. Let's just discuss it.
12:38Sunday morning. Sunday morning. Where do you guys stand on sneezing?
12:42I feel like the smart thing to do with a sneeze, you sneeze right into your arm.
12:47Not your shoulder. You sneeze into your elbow. No.
12:49Yeah. Yeah. That's basically into the elbow. I'm not going to get you.
12:53You're not going to sneeze into your armpit. You sneeze?
12:56No. I don't get it, Jamie. What do you mean?
12:59Yeah. Yeah. Like this. It's the same thing. The idea is you don't sneeze into your hand.
13:05You sneeze way too far up. The key is not to sneeze into your hand.
13:09As long as you're not sneezing into your hand, you're doing it right.
13:13So I have a different, I have a slightly different take on that.
13:17Okay. Okay. So I understand you're not supposed to sneeze in your hand and you're supposed to sneeze in your elbow, right?
13:24You're spreading germs less. However, if you have like a wet sneeze, it's just in your shirt.
13:29Like if you have, right? If you sneeze into your hands, you can immediately wash your hands and get rid of it.
13:36And it did look like Dan was smelling his armpits.
13:39I agree. Spaceball. I did mute the mic when I sneezed.
13:42What are you talking about? He did. He did.
13:45That's exactly what I did. I do have big germaphobe energy.
13:48You are a hundred percent right. Oh, not only does he have energy, it's confirmed in real life.
13:53I've seen it in action. I've seen Adam's germaphobia in action multiple times.
13:57So yeah, I just think if you sneeze into your hands, then you can immediately clean it.
14:02If someone's like out to dinner and they sneeze into their elbow, they're going to have a freaking wet spot in the elbow portion of their shirt.
14:11It's disgusting. But if you're out to dinner and you're just sneezing.
14:14Well, you probably don't have any wet sneezes because you don't trim your nose hair.
14:19So they're all there. All right. Do you trim your nose hairs, Jamie?
14:23Do I? Yeah, of course. I've never once in my life even considered trimming of nose hairs.
14:28I didn't even know that was a thing. Yeah.
14:31If you have, you know, some people have to.
14:33What do you do? I've done it once or twice, but for the most part, I'm good.
14:39What do you use in there? Use scissors. Scissors.
14:41Like, you know, like. Scissors. Not like, not like scissors you'd cut a piece of paper with.
14:46There's, there's, there's, uh, manicure scissors? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
14:49Right. What people clip their nails with, you know, those like scissors that have like a little curve to them.
14:55Anyway, join us Sunday morning. You guys are capable.
14:58Like 830 to 930 AM. Jay, Jay Burrishel or whatever.
15:01I get that a lot, um, from knocked up.
15:04Who's that? He's in that movie. Oh yeah. Yeah.
15:06Out of my league. Yep. He's like super skinny.
15:09Yeah. It's really the skinny guys. They think you look like.
15:12All right. All right. There's another guy. Sunday morning, 830 to 930 noon to one.
15:17Join us. YouTube.com slash fantasy football today. Now it's time for your emails at fantasy football at CBSI.com.
15:22This guy, uh, he says his name is Andrew and he's from a city in Northwest South Carolina.
15:28Dan, how's your South Carolina geography? Not very good.
15:31Um, one time though, on the way to Panama city beach with my friends at 21 years old, four guys packed in
15:37a car down to spring break, 30 hour drive.
15:40We had our alternator blow in South Carolina and this guy, Stebo, the greatest man in the history of the world helped fix our car.
15:48And that was in South Carolina. And that's all I know.
15:51Okay. So shout out Stebo, shout out South Carolina when they'll be back.
15:55Okay. Do you ever put in a $25 fab bid on a guy, win him and then see the next highest bid was $3 and think crap.
16:03I just wasted $22 or $21. Yeah. I have a proposal.
16:06What if fab worked like an auction? You put in your maximum bid and if you win, you only pay $1 more than the next highest bid.
16:15So in my example, I bid 25, but I get the player for four and I keep that extra $21 in fab budget.
16:22And there's also some stress. What do you guys think?
16:25No. This is, there's a name for this. It's like, uh, I think I'm going to embarrass myself.
16:30It's like, it's like, Oh, it's Vickery, Vickery, Vickery auction.
16:33Um, a sealed bid, but the second price auction where the highest bidder, a sealed bid, second price auction, where the highest
16:40bidder wins the item, but pays the price of the second highest bid.
16:44It does like, it does, there's put some strange strategy into it, but he wanted to know what we thought of it.
16:50Well, I mean, wouldn't that, wouldn't you like just put as much as you have?
16:55Right. No, because you have to worry that someone else is going to do that too.
17:00And then you get out of paying $80 for someone that you would have ordinarily bid five on.
17:05I guess. I don't know. I'm out on this completely.
17:08Part of the strategy is knowing how much to spend on a player.
17:12Right. Yeah. There's, there's like a little cat and mouse game that you can play.
17:17If you know, somebody really wants, you know, So I'll give you an example.
17:21I'm not excited about Will Shipley, but I have absolutely, I had no running backs.
17:25I needed to make sure I get Will Shipley.
17:28So I didn't want to spend, I don't want to overspend for him.
17:32So I'm like, you know what? If I get Will Shipley, I get 26 bucks, whatever.
17:37I have no idea. I didn't go check to see what the next highest bid was, but it was like half my budget at that point.
17:45And I was like, screw it. I got to get them.
17:48Right. Yeah. Somebody else might have spent 15, but I needed them.
17:52Right. So then you would have had to spend 16.
17:55Yeah. But that's, that's the gamble. Yeah. All right.
17:58We're going to take a break. I love it.
18:00The biggest germaphobe got pink eye. It is true.
18:03I didn't get pink eye. There are some studies.
18:06There are studies to be said that like, if you're a huge germaphobe, you actually are.
18:11You know what? Do me a favor, Dan. Find me.
18:14You didn't build your immune system enough. Find me a study.
18:17Cause you're a hundred percent. I'll find that study.
18:20About the immune system. You didn't build your immune system enough.
18:23Yeah. You're, you're making that up, but I don't have pink eye.
18:27I have other issues with my eye, but it's not pink eye.
18:30It's a three months. But how long is this going on now for three weeks with this eye?
18:36Yeah. Something like that. I shouldn't be laughing. It does suck.
18:39It really does. All right. We'll be back with more of your emails and the fantasy cops and a bonus fantasy cops.
18:46A very funny one. We'll be right back after this.
18:49We recently took a trip to Kansas city to catch a football game and we made a full weekend out of it.
18:55We spent some time exploring the city, made sure to get some classic Kansas city barbecue.
19:00And of course headed to Arrowhead stadium to take in the game between tailgating the crowd and the energy inside the stadium.
19:07It was an awesome experience. There's just something about a game weekend.
19:11Great food, great football, and getting to experience it all together made it a trip to remember.
19:16But while I was surrounded by fans taking in the atmosphere like I was, what hit me was just how many people
19:22were making a weekend out of it in Kansas city.
19:25Like I was needing a place to hang their head after a night of tailgating and celebrating for the local Kansas city
19:32folks or anyone who lives in a stadium city football season is a perfect time to consider listing your space on Airbnb,
19:39especially if you have travel plans yourself. Why let your home sit idle while you're away?

20:18If you don't get health insurance through work and you're stuck paying boatloads for your own health insurance, you should know that health insurance isn't your only option.
20:26More than 1.7 million Americans have chosen an alternative called healthcare sharing.
20:30And one company I learned about is we share health.
20:33They're a nonprofit and their members pay up to 60% less than they would for traditional health insurance.
20:38You still get access to a nationwide PPO network with over a million physicians plus unlimited telehealth.
20:44So if you're between jobs or self-employed, this could save you thousands of dollars a year.
20:48And with over a million physicians in the network, there's a good chance your current doctors are already in it.

22:24This one is from Crosby. Half point PPR. Half point PPR.
22:28Who says that? Half PPR. 12 teams. Is this too much of an emotional trade offer now with how Hampton's been used?
22:34Give up Hampton. And it says plus JJ slash Wilson.
22:37I don't know. Justin Jefferson or Michael Wilson? Yeah, that's a huge difference.
22:41Or Emmanuel Wilson? For Chase Brown and Jalen Coker.
22:44I don't know. So Hampton and one of those receivers, I would assume, for Chase Brown and Jalen Coker?
22:50I would say at this point, I don't know what Dave's trade chart is.
22:54I would say at this point, you've got to consider Hampton and Coker in the same range.
22:59Yeah, I would say that's fair. And so Chase Brown and one of those receivers is in the same range.
23:05So I don't mind that at all. Yeah, but I wouldn't give up Jefferson.
23:10I mean, if you could do it for Michael Wilson.
23:13It could be Garrett Wilson too. Oh, yeah, probably is Garrett Wilson.
23:16Yeah, I would still give up Garrett Wilson over Jefferson.
23:19I think that's a fair trade. Okay. I agree with you.
23:23I would try to hold on to Justin Jefferson.
23:25Okay. What do you think of this trade? Jefferson and Judkins.
23:29Give up Jefferson and Judkins. Get James Cook and Neighbors.
23:32Yeah. Jefferson and Judkins get James Cook and Neighbors.
23:34You don't even need to think about that. It's so easy and obvious.
23:38Terrible trade by the guy who gave up Cook and Neighbors.
23:42Yeah. Yeah. What are we doing here? From Carly.
23:44I'm in running back jail this week between buys and injuries.
23:48Somebody said it could be the volleyball. Wilson. That's a dad joke.
23:51Yeah, fine. From Carly. Pick two. Harvey. Montgomery. Hampton.
23:54And Braylon Allen. Harvey. Montgomery. Hampton. Braylon Allen. Allen.
23:57Allen. PPR. To me. Didn't say. I'm going Hampton and Allen.
24:00I'd go Hampton and Allen. If it's PPR full, I might go RJ Harvey over Hampton.
24:05Yeah. You can certainly make that call. From Brett.
24:08Yeah. You know, kind of an interesting. I talked about on Thursday's show.
24:12What RJ Harvey's doing right now, his target share the last two games.
24:16Bo Nix is running back target rate the last two games.
24:19Like I said, we know that Bo Nix is going to throw to his running backs, but it's been that offense on steroids.
24:26You shouldn't expect that statistically to continue. Now you have Sean Payton calling plays.
24:30You've got to figure they're going to try to get the part of their wide receivers more.
24:35So I'm just, I think it's close between Hampton and Harvey in full PPR.
24:40Should be a big waddle week. I hope. Great iron guru asks, has Dan seen cast away?
24:45Yes or no? Oh, it's a good one. Yes.
24:47I know. Yes. Because if he hadn't seen it, he probably wouldn't even get the Wilson reference.
24:53I'm going to say no. Adam was right. I have seen it.
24:56Oh, and by the way. Hot take about that movie.
24:59It should have ended when he got rescued. We didn't need to see the whole thing.
25:04He goes back to his house. His wife doesn't love him anymore.
25:08Whatever it is like should have ended when he got rescued.
25:11Would have been a great movie. That movie bored the hell out of me.
25:15It wasn't great. Yeah. I shouldn't say it would have been great.
25:19It would have been slightly better. You're right. It was pretty boring.
25:23So last week we did an over under on how many states.
25:26No, we did it. We did a guessing game.
25:29How many states Dan Schneier has been to. And I was within one or two.
25:33That's crazy. But I was within one. But it was closest without going over.
25:38And I went over by one. So even though I was so much closer than Jamie, I actually lost.
25:43I celebrated and then got a text message from one of you saying that Jamie actually won.
25:49And it was really disappointing. So that was a double or nothing situation.
25:53That put us back at zero. I'm now up one nothing with the cast away.
25:57We didn't technically bet on this one, but I'll give it to you.
26:01Yeah. Come on. I know Dan so well. Okay.
26:04From Brett. Dear Marty, Joe, Mark. You do know him as well, but technically I won the biggest bet so far.
26:10True. Which is what? The double or nothing? The double or nothing.
26:14Yeah. That's how batting works. Dear Marty, Joe. Yeah.
26:17I've yet to win a dollar. That's true. Marty, Joe, Mark, and the Soldier of Peace.
26:21Marty, Joe, Mark, and the Soldier of Peace. I have never heard of the Soldier of Peace portion of this.
26:27The heck is that? Do you know, Jamie? Say it again.
26:31I'm sorry. Marty, Joe, Mark, and the Soldier of Peace.
26:34I do not. No idea. This is the New York SAC exchange.
26:37Marty Lyons, Joe, Mark Gasino, and Abdul Salam is the Soldier of Peace.
26:41Interesting. Half PPR. Ken Walker on by. Do I start David Montgomery or Brian Robinson Jr.?
26:46I would start Montgomery. And we talked about this, Jacob and I, on our show.
26:51It feels like this could be a David Montgomery week.
26:54Call it a gut feel. Call it leaning on the game script.
26:57The possibility that they are able to kind of run away with a game against probably the worst or second or third
27:04worst team in the NFL, the Titans. But if this isn't a David Montgomery week, I don't think we have any left on the books.
27:12I would start Montgomery also. I kind of share that sentiment.
27:15Like, the game script is perfect. You know, I mean, you have a team that gets run on a lot.
27:21You have opportunities here to hopefully hold the ball quite a bit.
27:25And I think that their defense is going to have their best performance to date, which isn't saying very much.
27:31But with D'Amico Ryan's taking over, so time and possessions should be in their favor.
27:35It's just like, what is a David Montgomery week at this point?
27:39Like, there's two opportunities the last two games where there should have been goal line chances for him and it went to
27:46Woody Marks or, you know, inside the five opportunities.
27:48And if that's going to happen, then David Montgomery is worthless.
27:52If he's not scoring touchdowns, he's worthless too. Yeah.
27:54Also, like, Tennessee's run defense isn't that bad. They're not a good team.
27:58It's not. They have. Whenever they have Jeffrey Simmons, it's not like it's an easy.
28:03It's kind of just like I'm big on tooting this week, though.
28:06I feel like it's a situation where it's just the opposite team on offense is going to be punting, punting, punting, punting.
28:13And the Eagles will be punting a lot in this game.
28:16And so there's just so many opportunities on offense.
28:19We should clip that. Punting, punting, punting. I can't wait to see it, man.
28:23Someone should make like a. I mean, I think Jalen Hurts had 68 net passing yards last week on 30-something dropbacks.
28:30That's bad. It's as bad as it gets there.
28:33Sammy in Chicago. For a supposed elite quarterback. Sammy.
28:35What'd you say? For a supposed elite quarterback. That's what he was called.
28:39Billed as by me to. To me by Heath.
28:42Sammy in Chicago. 12-team PPR. Six-point per passing touchdown.
28:45Start three of the following. Zay Flowers, Parker Washington, Garrett Wilson, Dante Myers.
28:49Just the first three. Yeah. I mean, I think Myers could have a big week.
28:53I'm checking something. I apologize. No, it's all right.
28:56Zay Flowers, Parker Washington. That one's pretty simple. You're not benching Parker or Zay ever, right?
29:01I'm trying to read it. I'm trying to read it to Jamie if you wouldn't buy it.
29:06Zay Flowers, Parker Washington, Garrett Wilson, Dante Myers. Start three.
29:09You're sitting Myers even if the Bengals guys are up.
29:12Yep. All right. I think Dan is going to get this reference.
29:16Mark in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Hey, Chauncey, Rip, Ben, Sheet, and Tay.
29:19Detroit Pistons championship team. What are we doing with Puka Nakua?
29:23Should I sell for what I can now since people seem very worried about a long-term injury?
29:28What? So one of the Twitter doctors, I forget which one it was, was saying, or maybe it was Pro Football Talk,
29:34and then one of the Twitter doctors was commenting on it.
29:38I think that's what it was. His groin issue, hernia issue, may require surgery at some point.
29:43Okay. And there's a chance of him re-aggravating it and needing surgery at some point soon.
29:48Okay. There is some thought, too, if you can maximize his value right now before something potentially happens.
29:53Now, I do think that that report came before he returned to play.
29:57So I don't know how much that changed after he's played the last two games.
30:02Yeah. Or last week. So I wouldn't be too worried about it, but clearly it's something that you got to keep in mind to some certain extent.
30:10So. Okay. Yeah. You know what he had is something called a pre-hernia, which almost sounds made up.
30:15But. Doesn't sound pretty. It's not a hernia yet, but it could become one.
30:19And that's the concern here. Yeah. Like I have pre-pink eye.
30:23I guess if you could get back a premier player, sure.
30:26If you're taking back like two guys who are inconsistent, I wouldn't do it.
30:30Like a two for one with two inconsistent guys, no.
30:33This is from Duran. JSN for Jefferson and A.J.
30:36Brown. Would you make that trade? No. JSN for Jefferson and A.J.
30:40Brown. I think if you have one receiver and nothing else, like I have one league with JSN and my second receiver is Dontavian Wicks.
30:47I would entertain this. I probably would not do it, but I would entertain it.
30:52To me. Yeah. If A.J. Brown is A.J. Brown again, like you're going to win that trade.
30:57I'd rather just find my Dante Myers every week and still have JSN or whatever it is.
31:02Like I just, I think when you trade away these core players, you end up losing your leagues.
31:08If you have one of these league winning players, you keep them in my mind.
31:12And I will say in that league, I'm three and one.
31:16The one loss was last week after JSN had a bad game.
31:19He's not the only reason I lost, but that was, you know, coincided.
31:23Yeah. I think it's a, you know, I don't know what to expect from Jefferson.
31:28It's a pretty telling week, but his, uh, his target per route run rate is insane.
31:32It's well, it's 30.4%. It's terrific. Jefferson or JSN?
31:35Jefferson. Okay. Considering he played, he ran two routes in one of his games.
31:39And with that, like in the three games that he's played and one of them, he played two, two routes, six snaps.
31:46He has a 25% target share. Wow. It feels a lot different from last year.
31:51I mean, they are really trying so hard to get him involved on almost every snap.
31:56It's great. Now that's an exaggeration. Obviously we haven't seen that much, but I'm pretty encouraged by Jefferson.
32:01Even with Kyler, however, I think this, this week, I think will really help us if he plays will help us know
32:08what the value of Justin Jefferson is, but the early signs were very good for him.
32:12Um, all right. Uh, by the way, sad news.
32:15What? Uh, Mike Dick has passed away. Oh, wow.
32:18Terrible. I was like Mike Dick. Um, obviously I don't know him as a player, but good character in football and very funny in kicking and screaming.
32:26We had the, uh, this conversation off the air in their green room on Sunday about our Mount Rushmore talk conversation of tight ends.
32:33Yeah. And, um, having it with, with Pete Prisco obviously has a vast knowledge of, you know, historical players and brought up
32:40a few guys that I don't think anybody would consider.
32:43And I said, you know, Dicka should be, you know, in the conversation, not probably on the Mount Rushmore of tight ends,
32:50but, um, first thousand yard season for a tight end ever.
32:53Yeah. Yeah. Crazy. All right. Well, I'm sad to hear it.
32:56Oh, you know what? Maybe we should go to break.
32:59Cause now it's like, yeah, let's just go to break and we'll reset after that.
33:04And we'll, uh, we'll get the fantasy cops and we'll get Dan's review of Rocky after this on fantasy football today.
33:10If you've ever opened the fridge at the end of a long day and thought, okay, what am I supposed to make for dinner?

35:28SimpliSafe, ahead of crime in real time. I play Rocky.
35:31I can do it. I play Rocky. I'm trying to quote the guy from the I play Rocky trailer.
35:36Dude doing a Sylvester Stallone impression. Oh. Yeah. Anyway, what did you think of Rocky?
35:41We're doing Rocky review? Okay. So here it goes.
35:44We pop into the movie. You got the intro music right down to the middle of downtown Philly with Rocky fighting.
35:50Thought that was freaking awesome. I thought it was very cool to see the old streets of Philly, big fire in a garbage can, 20 people singing doo-wop.
35:58It's like, where am I? What year is this?
36:01Like that hasn't happened in 30, 40 years. And this was like 1970.
36:05I think we looked it up. Adam was at 76 when this movie came out.
36:10But then out of nowhere, we get the third scene is in his apartment with weird lighting and he's talking to a
36:16goldfish and he's talking to himself in the mirror.
36:19And I'm at this point, I'm like, am I watching a sports movie or am I watching like, a poor man's taxi driver with De Niro?
36:27I didn't know where we were going with this thing.
36:30And then like a few scenes later, I'm starting to think like, okay, I understand why they called this Rocky, like why he's called Rocky.
36:38He's literally as dumb as rocks. Like he's having these conversations in the pet store with Adrian and it's not making any sense.
36:45And I'm like, where are we going with this movie?
36:48And so as we get into it, start to see like the awesomeness of like the aspect of like he's fighting.
36:54He's trying to be this guy that can, you know, prove somebody wrong and obviously gets his opportunity.
36:59All that part was cool. We'll get to the ending of it, which I thought was fun.
37:05Um, but I had some things that I wanted to point out that I thought were interesting about this movie.
37:11One Rocky says he's 30 years old. That's what he claims to be in this movie.
37:15And Adrian's apparently 30 as well. I would say he looks 37 at the youngest.
37:20And then later on, I feel like this is confirmed when he's like in the apartment yelling at Mick, he's like, my
37:27knees are busted and I don't work and I'm broken down.
37:30I'm like, who's broken down like that at 30 years old, Rocky.
37:34So yeah, I don't agree with you. Okay. I, a couple other things.
37:38I don't know if anyone knows this, but in the, uh, boxing gym locker room, there's a sign right behind Rocky's locker that I didn't understand.
37:45It says no kissing. So I did not know what that meant.
37:49I was wondering if anyone ever pointed that out about this movie.
37:53It was very interesting. There's also the, I thought I just find some of these like interesting time nostalgic parts interesting to me.
38:00Like there were, what do you think the tagline for seven up was in the 1970s?
38:04Cause when he's in the pizza shop, there's like a big seven upside.
38:08What do you think they, their tagline used to be?
38:11Seven up. Yeah. I don't know. The un-cola. How bad is that?
38:15The un-cola. Like how is that good? Does that make me want to drink a seven up?
38:20But then I was also wondering, is this where the, I've always liked throughout my life heard this moniker, the Italian stallion.
38:27Is this where it started? Yeah. This is where it started.
38:30That's so cool. I didn't know Rocky started the Italian stallion.
38:34So let me get, jump in here. I, I, I Googled it and also people in the chat, at least one person, uh, women, we can legs.
38:42That's what Mickey says. So no kissing is Mickey reminding people like to cut women out of your life.
38:48You want to be a great boxer. Oh, Oh, cause I forgot.
38:51He did say that. He said, you had to cut her off, Adrian off.
38:55And now he's putting in the locker room. Like, Hey, there's no, you know, okay.
39:00I got, I got where Mickey's coming from now.
39:03Yeah. That was an interesting guy. That Mickey guy, that whole scene was crazy with him yelling at him in the apartment
39:09and yelling at himself and having his own mental breakdown and then going outside to see Mick.
39:14I love that. Really? That was a crazy scene.
39:17Um, and so I also was wondering, is this ever been debated on the show as being a Christmas movie?
39:23Cause there is some, don't go down this road.
39:26And I just want to get you thought of the movie.
39:29This is another episode. Rocky four is a Christmas movie.
39:32Listen, there's a, there's a Thanksgiving scene where the crazy brother throws the turkey out.
39:37And then there's a little bit of a little bit Christmas decorations after that.
39:41So we, we, we, Rocky four is a Christmas movie.
39:44Jamie thinks it's a Thanksgiving and Christmas movie. No, no, no, no, no.
39:48And then my favorite part of the movie by far was obviously the final scene with them boxing.
39:54Very cool scene. He's like, I don't even want to beat this guy.
39:57I just want to make it the whole distance.
40:00And he's fighting. And he's like, are you going to be done?
40:04And he's like, nah, I'm going back out there.
40:07And when they ring the bell, I love when, when, when, uh, Creed whispers to or tells him ain't going to be
40:13no rematch says, I don't want one. I love that response.
40:17Like, I don't want one. I love that response.
40:19Like, don't want one. Like I wasn't here for, you know, I don't need to prove that I'm better than you.
40:26I just need to prove that I could fight with you and I could make it all the way to the end.
40:32And I thought that was the, my, by far my favorite part of the movie, huge fan of Adrian, huge Adrian fan,
40:39cross the board, just like everything about her. Um, I just think the whole thing was funny with her.
40:45And so, yeah, overall, I would say probably still just like a 7.2 for me.
40:49It doesn't really like, it's good. It's not better than seven.
40:53I stand by that. Seven is clearly better. You just said it's 7.2.
40:57Yeah. A seven, the movie would be like 8.8.
40:59That's better than seven. No, no. Seven, the movie would be like 8.8 or like eight points in those high eights.
41:06This is still like in a low sevens. Um, but overall it was enjoyable, weird, fun.
41:11The time part piece was part of it was cool.
41:14Don't think I'll watch the second, but happy. I watched the first.
41:17Okay. Well, I, I appreciate the review. I wish you'd liked it a little bit more, but that was 7.2 is pretty high for me.
41:25It's pretty solid. Okay. All right. Well, uh, well, wait.
41:28Um, so what would seven be on a scale of one to 10?
41:32Would you say? I said it would be like an 8.6 or an 8.8.
41:36Somewhere in that range for me. Okay. Okay. Sorry.
41:39I just needed to find the music. It's time for the fantasy cops.
41:43This one is from the shepherd stampede. The commissioner of our league traded with an inactive manager who has not been setting
41:49his lineup with multiple inactives left in. And he's had Kenneth Walker on his bench.
41:54The commissioner set the league so that he has sole discretion to approve or deny trades.
41:59And he refuses to reverse the trade. He said that if you guys say it's unfair, he will reverse the trade.
42:05Help me call it. You know what? I'll leave the rest.
42:08So the commissioner said it's up to us. What do we do?
42:12Hold on. He traded with an inactive player. He traded with a manager.
42:16The commissioner did? Yeah. The commissioner has been trading with a manager who has not been setting his lineup, has had Kenneth Walker on the bench.
42:24So he traded. Here's the trade. The commissioner gave up Joe Burrow and Cam Scadaboo and got Matthew Stafford and Kenneth Walker.
42:30No. No. It's unacceptable. It's completely unacceptable in a one-quarterback league.
42:34I would let that trade stand. It's disgusting. I would let that trade stand as just a bad trade if two active
42:40managers made it because Burrow was drafted way ahead of Stafford.
42:44Stafford hasn't really been that good this year. No.
42:47In one-quarterback league, was Joe Burrow really drafted way ahead of Stafford?
42:50It's still like round eight or ten. It's a negligible win.
42:54The top five quarterback, Stafford was like QB 12.
42:56Walker's one of the five players defining fantasy this year.
42:59Yeah, and I am not saying it's a good trade.
43:02I'm saying that if there were no collusion, if there were no controversy, if it was just two active players, I would let the trade stand.
43:10There's a different scenario here. So what are we doing?
43:13Vito. You can't have commissioner trading with a guy who has Ken Walker on his bench for three weeks.
43:19You can't have a league where a guy has Ken Walker on his bench for three leagues.
43:24We're going to be honest about the situation just to be hard cop for a second.
43:29He didn't say three weeks. I don't know how long he was on the bench.
43:33Whatever it is, we've got to play a little hard cop here.
43:37Get your league together. If you want to take this seriously, then managers have to have Ken Walker in their starting lineups.
43:44If you don't want to take it seriously, then it is what it is, and you're having fun with your friends.
43:50And let the trade go through because who cares?
43:53There are separate issues here. Obviously, benching Ken Walker and being an inactive participant is one thing.
43:58That's reason to just say this person should not be invited back next year because they don't care.
44:03The fact that the commissioner understands that this person is being an inactive manager and taking advantage of it when he has
44:10the sole veto power, that's what's the issue. I think you have to veto the trade.
44:15You have to veto it, right? No good. No good.
44:18Sorry, sir. And you also have to either make a decision that if you're going to be the commissioner, you can't basically
44:25violate what's a code of ethics here. Yeah. And I think the commissioner having veto power is fine, but if the commissioner
44:31makes a trade, should the rest of the league be able to vote on just that commissioner's trade?
44:37I think it's a question worth having with your league.
44:40It's a question worth having with your league. Because it's the commissioner?
44:43Yeah. There's no recourse for anyone else. Hi, from Wes.
44:47Hello. Bogus trade proposed to someone unsuspecting by the commissioner of our league.
44:5012-team PPR Superflex League. Our commissioner proposed and completed a trade to another person in the league that clearly does not understand fantasy football.
44:58When we called it out and went to veto it, the commissioner told us that we are not allowed to veto trades
45:04and, quote, get over it and stop crying. And then after some protests from myself and a few others, he threatened to throw us out of the league.
45:13And he also attached some screenshots and stuff that I'll read.
45:16The commissioner was giving up Omarion Hampton and Dalton Schultz and getting Brock Bowers.
45:20I understand vetoing shouldn't be a thing, but if the commissioner is going to propose trades like this to an inexperienced manager
45:27and tell us to get over it and threaten us with expulsion for calling it out, I think it merits a take from the fantasy cops.
45:35The commissioner begged me to join the league, and I did it as a favor to him because he needed help filling spots.
45:42I brought in a buddy of mine who I've been doing leagues with for over a decade, and now there's all this drama, and I can't stand it.
45:50At least the guy I brought in understands. I think I'm just embarrassed and angry with myself.
45:56I went against my better judgment, I guess, in joining the league.
45:59Now, let me see if I can find— Yeah, this is where I have trouble because I don't find this trade to
46:06be vetoable for a multitude of reasons. One, we just don't know for sure that Brock Bowers is going to be a
46:13better bet than those two down the line. At least there's some value to this.
46:17There's some idea and logic behind the trade with Hampton originally expecting to be a high producer at a more important position.
46:24And Brock Bowers is having interest. There's something to that to me.
46:27You're being such a hypocrite right now. Not at all.
46:30Because the argument I made about Joe Burrow and Matthew Stafford is very similar to this.
46:35Joe Burrow is an eighth to tenth round pick in meaningless in more quarterback leagues.
46:40An eighth to tenth round pick, Wayne. Meaningless. Meaning barely going to outscore Stafford if he's lucky.
46:45Ken Walker is a difference-making player. Brock Bowers could be a difference-making player.
46:49Ken Walker is one of the league winners right now without a damn doubt in fantasy football.
46:54I am just wondering what fantasy football you're playing right now.
46:57But more important than that. More important than that.
47:00I mean, Joe—wait, no, no, no. This is insane.
47:03Joe Burrow is currently outscoring Matthew Stafford by 17 fantasy points.
47:06And he was— Total? Yes. Over four weeks? Yes.
47:09Oh, so that means it's what's going to happen moving forward?
47:12No, but you're— He had 47 touchdowns last year.
47:15You're so— This isn't last year. I think where you're wrong is the value for Burrow going into the season.
47:21Burrow was a top five quarterback. What are you talking about?
47:24I know, but in a one-quarterback league, that's nothing.
47:27It's an eighth to tenth round pick. No, it's not.
47:30He was not going in the eighth to tenth round.
47:33He was going in the fifth round. Maybe six.
47:36You can't use the draft value and be wrong about it.
47:39We'll go through— Jamie organized about 20 to 30 drafts that we went in, that we were both in, Adam.
47:45I will look back through those— Look at the average draft position.
47:49I'll tell you he did not go in the fifth and sixth round in one of those.
47:54Oh, my God. You're so wrong. There's thousands of drafts that are more relevant to the question because those are what average drafts is.
48:01My main point here as to why you can't veto this is you can't veto it because you think a manager's inexperienced.
48:08You can veto it if a manager's not setting his lineup and clearly not playing fantasy football.
48:13This I agree with. Like the last one. This is the main point here.
48:17The last one, the manager wasn't playing his lineup.
48:20He had Walker on the bench. He's not playing fantasy.
48:23Right. It's on every manager. Unfortunately, this is how fantasy goes.
48:26It's kind of like poker. You got to play it to get better at it or something like that.
48:32Like it's not up to you to be the judge and juror of like what—like that person has to learn through experience.
48:39Yes, yes, yes. I agree with you. You're wrong about the Burrow thing, but I do agree with you on this.
48:45Jamie, what are you going to say? Anyone who thinks the side of Burrow and what was the other— No, no one's agreeing with it.
48:53I didn't think that, you schmuck. I was saying that you don't know when Joe Burrow was drafted.
48:58You don't get it. Go ahead, Jamie. All right.
49:01We're all in agreement. Dan's wrong on Joe Burrow's draft value.
49:04Adam is wrong. No, Adam was not wrong. I'm not wrong on anything.
49:08Adam's wrong on thinking that that trade's more beautiful.
49:11I think the biggest thing with this is the commissioner's reaction to the league's reaction is poor.
49:16The trade should not be vetoed. I have to read you the quotes here.
49:20So this is the commissioner going to the guy who wrote us.
49:24I don't appreciate you making me out like I'm cheating or something because I didn't cheat.
49:29You a bleeping bleephole, and I'm half tempted to just remove you two troublemakers.
49:33And then it just went on and on. Then she shows me the group chat.
49:38You a crybaby. You're a crybaby. Boo bleeping who?
49:40Horse bleep trade. I mean, this got really heated.
49:43I have never once been in a fantasy league where something like this has happened.
49:48No, usually when you just screw up, we just talk behind your back.
49:52But this is so funny to me. My league has had multiple blowups.
49:56I think the problem is that people aren't taking it seriously.
49:59It always is going to seem shady when the commissioner takes advantage of the inexperienced player.
50:04Because the commissioner is the one, in theory, that knows that person.
50:07Where some other people in the league, like in this scenario, does not.
50:11And so this trade is not egregious. It's not great, but it's not egregious.
50:15So you can't veto it. But it's just the reaction is bad.
50:19Yeah, I always feel bad when the people who wrote in are wrong.
50:23But I think, unfortunately, that was the situation here.
50:26Now, here's one from Shane. Good morning, Eric, Kelso, and Fez.
50:29That is that 70s show. It is. A trade in my work league went down that we're all upset about.
50:35It's a 14-team league. You have a lot of Eric vibes to you.
50:39As people told you that before, Adam? What? You have Eric vibes.
50:43Big-time Eric vibes. Well, you're never going to see me sitting in one of those circles having those conversations.
50:49Besides that. Yeah. The bottom team in the league is 0-4.
50:52He's decided to make some trades. Yesterday, he traded Saquon Barkley and Kirk Cousins.
50:56Barkley and Cousins. In return, he received Justin Herbert and Brian Robinson Jr.
51:00When asked about this, he said, quote, You just have to trust the process.
51:04Projections are just numbers. What? We don't think that the guy he traded these players to was involved in any collusion.
51:11He's a good dude. But the rest of the league is upset about this trade.
51:15And as a team that's already good, just get Cousins and Barkley for Herbert and Brian Robinson Jr.
51:21I asked the commissioner to hold a vote on the trade.
51:24It doesn't appear that he's willing to hold a vote.
51:27What should be done about this trade? It creates such an unfair advantage in the league.
51:32The trade goes through. The trade goes through. Again, this is not collusion.
51:36Unless you suspect a collusion, it's your fault for not going to this manager earlier.
51:40This trade goes through. Yeah, I guess so. Because last year, let me give you an example.
51:45One of my leagues had a huge blow up.
51:48In the middle of this, or toward the end of the season, there was a big trade to a team that just had no running backs.
51:56And he was competing for the playoffs. He ended up winning the league, this guy.
52:01And he had no running backs. He's starting like nothing.
52:04Like he's getting one to two points. And he traded George Pickens for Jekoski Merritt last year, toward the end of the year.
52:11League went nuts right at the trade deadline. Everyone's screaming.
52:14It's a huge blow up in the chat. People want veto.
52:17Then there's this whole thing. I was on the side of no veto no matter what, even though I didn't want the
52:24team that was getting Pickens for Jekoski Merritt to get Pickens because that helps that team.
52:28And I was competing in it right there. But I still felt like that's not fair.
52:33The guy needed a running back. He believes in Bill.
52:36Anyway, he ends up winning the championship because Bill goes off in the postseason and wins in the league.
52:42And Pickens does nothing down the stretch. And it's like we just can't predict it that well.
52:47If it's egregious, yes. But like this is not egregious enough.
52:51Like Barkley's hurt for a little while. And this guy wants some stats now.
52:55The guy who's trading for Robinson. Maybe he believes Herbert could bounce it.
52:59I don't know. We just, you can't just, if there's no like, if there's no collusion or there's no, somebody's not putting
53:05Ken Walker in their lineup for three weeks, you can't veto in my mind.
53:10Someone in the chat, Jamie, said that T Higgins was not a practice today.
53:14I'm trying to find it. Terry McLaurin actually showed up a practice today.
53:18So something to keep an eye on there. Okay.
53:21And no Barkley again. I think we said that right.
53:24Yeah. He's not playing. I think no Devante Smith too.
53:27I saw earlier. Um, and, uh, the guy, one, the gridiron guru says, we already know you sit in those circles.
53:33Just look at that eye. Sir. All right. We got a bonus fantasy cops here.
53:38Not necessarily a problem we have to solve, but it's a, it's a funny email and it's from Norm, the candy man.
53:44That's his team name. Candy. I discovered fantasy football today, late last season.
53:48My commute to and from work is about 1.5 hours.
53:51So I've been listening every day this year since the NFL draft, the new show reality versus fantasy with Scott Turner is amazing.
53:58I'm the commissioner of our work league. And I seem to now have a distinct advantage when it comes to knowledge of fantasy football.
54:05Thanks to all of you. My dilemma is this, as mentioned, I've promoted your show to many friends, but I've not shared
54:12my other league managers that my fantasy football knowledge is due to listening to your shows every day.
54:18They've made some real bonehead moves that I've been able to take advantage of.
54:22On one hand, I want to tell them, but this would quickly take my advantage away.
54:27I've even considered changing my team name to uncle Jim's other team.
54:30Just to see if anyone responds and mentions FFT.
54:33Is it wrong to not share this information with my other league members?
54:37Do I tell them they can improve their fantasy teams if they start listening to your show?
54:42Or do I keep it to myself and continue to take advantage of the knowledge I've gained thanks to FFT?
54:48I'm just going to dig a quick and swift company line here and say, yes, it is selfish.
54:54Tell everyone about the show. Tell them to like the show the minute they click on it.
54:59Immediately, I want their brain thinking, I got to click like.
55:02Because that's the thing. You got to get people thinking like the minute they click the video.
55:07And then comments both before, during, and after the show.
55:10A subscribe button. And there's a new hype button on YouTube that we'd like you to hit as well.
55:16So there's a hype button. I didn't even realize that.
55:19Yeah. You can hype shows and you can get them hyped up into the sports category.
55:24Oh, that's cool. I'm going to do that right now.
55:27It's there. No, you can keep it secret if you want.
55:30But I'm glad. Yeah. What, Adam? What are you talking about, dude?
55:34Tell everyone. I'm glad it works. You'll still do well, even if people know.
55:38You'll still do well. That's true. If you're a competitor, you want everybody to be competing on the same level and show that you're better.
55:46How do I hype this? After the show, you can click hype.
55:49After. Yeah. Okay. Okay. All right. Thank you for your fantasy cops questions.
55:53We appreciate it. Let's go to Apple podcast questions here on fantasy football today.
55:58Great. The trade from germ talk half PPR. I traded tootin and Garrett Wilson for Puka and Travis.
56:03A-chan. It's basically for Puka at this point. Why?
56:06A-chan is coming back at some point. Yeah. That'd be value at some point.
56:10It's coming back at some point. Hopefully. Totally. So it's tootin and Garrett Wilson for Puka and Travis.
56:15A-chan in half PPR. Now we got Twitter docs scaring me about Puka.
56:19No, I don't know what to do with that.
56:22I really like tootin moving forward, but not enough to not like this trade.
56:26I think it's a good trade. You take the Puka side.
56:30Yeah. You're getting, I just think there's like eight to six, eight to 12 defining players every season in fantasy that, that
56:36go to the playoffs and win you the championships.
56:39And Puka's likely one of them as long as he stays healthy.
56:43All right. Yeah, but you got two starters that are pretty good.
56:46I think we have a new, we have a new Dan bet coming up.
56:51Does he know, does he know this reference? Okay.
56:53Don't, don't say anything, Dan. Dear Zach, Kelly, Jesse, and Lisa.
56:57I do, but only because like, I'm lucky. Like I shouldn't know that saved by the bell.
57:02Right. I mean, I just said, Jamie, we have a Dan bet coming up.
57:06Don't say anything, Dan. Yeah. I mean, come on.
57:09Yeah. Yeah. I think the problem was I didn't want, I just wanted to be so, I was so proud of myself
57:15in my head in the moment that I knew it, that I just had to blurt it out.
57:21That was a mistake. Would you have, what would you have guessed?
57:24I would have guessed. No, I would have been wrong.
57:27Yeah. Mrs. Riley. It makes no sense that I know that.
57:31And only Mrs. Riley. The best scene by far in that, that I've seen, I've just seen like clips throughout Twitter is when, um, she's like, what happened?
57:39She took like, yeah, she took the caffeine pills.
57:42Caffeine pills. That was so good. I'm so excited.
57:45Yeah. I'm so scared. As a total crash out with caffeine pills.
57:48Unreal moment. Uh, yeah. People tell me that I sound like the guy who sings Zach Morris is trash.
57:54I don't know what that is. So Zach Morris is trash is like a web series devoted to how every episode of
58:01saved by the bell, Zach Morris, just something horrible.
58:04He's such a piece of crap. Bad person. Yeah.
58:06He's terrible. It's like the Daniel LaRusso thing in karate kid where he's basically responsible for all the bad things that happen anyway.
58:13All right. T Higgins not stretching Jamar Chase's. Okay.
58:16Is he said? Yeah. T Higgins is not stretching, which means he's probably not going to play.
58:21And Jamar Chase is still in the concussion protocol, but is going through what's most likely going to practice.
58:27Good. I'm about to trade neighbors, Kincaid, Monongay and Boston neighbors, Kincaid, Monongay and Boston.
58:31For Olave, Ja'Kory Krosky, Merritt, Kalon Black and the Chiefs DST.
58:35He also has just a lot. Yeah. Yeah. He also has Gibbs, Swift and Dowdle and Golden Burden.
58:40He needs receivers. He's giving up neighbors. You're giving one to get one.
58:44Neighbors, Kincaid, Monongay and Boston for Olave, Bill and Black.
58:47This is the thing I understand is if you need receivers.
58:51Well, he didn't say that, but he has Golden Burden, Tyreek and Tyson.
58:54I mean, you're getting the best player. So essentially is Olave worth all of that.
58:59Neighbors, Kincaid and Boston. He also has Bowers. So he doesn't need Kincaid.
59:03You're really consolidating here. You're giving up your depth, but you're going to have Olave, Bowers, Gibbs and Swift and Golden.
59:09Like, that's really good. My only concern is, and it's slight, is what happens to Olave when Tyson returns?
59:15That's possible. I'm not that concerned about that. My other concern is Neighbors could be really good.
59:20He looked really good last game. So I don't know for sure how much of an upgrade Olave is to Neighbors.
59:27I think it's a huge upgrade. But I personally, I mean, I could do it.
59:31And Monongay is a player when healthy. He's got Swift.
59:34When you have Swift and you give up Monongay, that's a huge risk you're taking there.
59:39Yeah, I wouldn't do it. I think I wouldn't do it, I guess.
59:43If I could get Monongay out of that, like, just do Neighbors.
59:47If you really want Olave, I think Neighbors and Kikade is worth it.
59:50I would even throw Boston in there. Sure. Yeah, that's fine.
59:54He's not going to use it. If that gets it done.
59:57I think we have a few more Apple podcasts.
60:00I'm in a league where we have had, where he have two, excuse me, we have two flex positions.
60:06PPR. I have the luxury of drafting Tucker Craft and Juwan Johnson.
60:09Okay. Um, do I, I guess like he wants to know, like, is it, is it fine to start both tight ends?
60:16One is a flex. Craft and Juwan. I'm sorry.
60:19I was looking up news. What? Is it fine to start both tight ends?
60:23This week? Yeah. It's not a great week to do it.
60:26It's not a good week for it, but it's not in general.
60:30He doesn't have it. He doesn't tell me the other options.
60:33I would say, generally speaking, I am finding that I have plenty of teams where I am fine starting a tight end
60:40as one of my flexes because I do have some two flex leagues.
60:44Like that's fine. I wouldn't even, I wouldn't even use the word fine.
60:48I would use the word net. It's necessary at this point to be starting some tight ends and flex spots.
60:54Uh, Todd Bowles said that, uh, they're going to check out Baker Mayfield's thumb, but the plan is to start Jalen Daniels next week.
61:01Okay. This is from Allen in Boston. He says, hi, Tony, Drew, Tom, and Drake.
61:06Tony. Yeah. Very easy. Yeah. These are Patriots quarterbacks.
61:08Yeah. Uh, Terry McLaurin at practice. Stefan Diggs is not.
61:11Ooh. Wow. Okay. Weird. That was unexpected. I have Bijan and JSN.
61:15But the rest of my team is underwhelming. Burden, JMO and Loveland are killing me.
61:20Uh, if you were going to trade Bijan or JSN, who would you trade?
61:24And what's fair value? I'm not going to trade Bijan or JSN.
61:27It's a dynasty league? It's a keeper league. He can only keep one of them.
61:32But you still want to win, right? Or did he say his team is doing bad or something?
61:37Yeah, I think with Burden, JMO and Loveland, I mean, I feel like you could win with Bijan and JSN.
61:43Of course you can. And look, JMO just had a great week last week.
61:48Loveland had a productive week last week. It's too early in the season to be giving up.
61:53Yeah. And he's two and two. Don't give up.
61:56Yeah, you're fine. We have a comment, a one-star comment.
61:59The subject line was... You're reading a one-star on here?
62:02It's funny. The subject line was, le who? And then the text was, zahers.
62:06But screw you. Oh, losers, losers. Yeah, no, no, no.
62:09Screw you. We don't ever read another one-star on this podcast while I'm on.
62:13Thank you for the five-star comments. Very much. Don Tavianwix is at practice.
62:17Okay. Thank you very much for those. Let me get to your Spotify questions, comments rather, and questions.
62:23We have a bunch of them. Here we go.
62:25From Gabe. Dear Elliot, Tyrell, and Darlene. Elliot, Tyrell, and Darlene.
62:29No idea. Tyrell Lannister. Nope. That's not his name.
62:31Obviously it's not that. No, there is a Tyrell Lannister within that Lannister.
62:35Tywin. Tywin. No, I wasn't talking about Tywin. There's also a Tyrell Lannister.
62:39Yes. I don't think so. Look into the history.
62:42Type it into Google. You'll find it. There's a Tyrell on Game of Thrones, I think, but it's not a Lannister.
62:48There is a Tyrell on Game of Thrones, but we're talking about someone else.
62:53Tyrell Lannister. I think it's like Lady Tyrell. Malik Washington, Keaton Mitchell.
62:56I think I might be wrong about this. You're definitely wrong.
63:00Pick one. No wait. No wait. Buddy, you're wrong.
63:02Let me read this question. Malik Washington, Keaton Mitchell, Casey Concepcion, or Kalief Raymond, PPR?
63:07Need one? Yeah. Washington is the safest. Mitchell has the highest soon.
63:10Start one. Judkins, Emmanuel Wilson, Aaron Jones. Jones. Judkins, Wilson, Jones.
63:14Yeah. Jones is the highest rank for me, too.
63:16I traded Alec Pierce in a Dynasty League. I'm in win now mode.
63:20I traded Alec Pierce in a late 27 second and a late 28 first and a late 29 first.
63:26You think it's late. For Chris Olave and Tyreek Hill.
63:29So, Alec Pierce plus two firsts and a second for Olave and Tyreek Hill.
63:33Trying to win a Dynasty League. A little bit of an overpay, but you're getting Olave, which is great.
63:39What was it again? Sorry. That's okay. We're moving on.
63:42Alec Pierce in two first for Olave, essentially. Okay.
63:45Puka and Mike Washington for Kyron and Devontae Adams.
63:48Puka and Mike Washington for Devontae and Kyron. A lot of Rams.
63:51B. Yeah. As long as Mike Washington, as long as Ashen Gentry doesn't get hurt, I think it's fine.
63:57If he gets hurt, you're going to regret it.
64:00Ethan says, I have Purdy, Brown, Hubbard, blah, blah, blah, Kincaid and McLaurin.
64:04I'm currently trying to iron out Kincaid and McLaurin for whatever their value is.
64:08Any tips moving into week five? I don't know what he means.
64:12I wouldn't. McLaurin has no trade value at this time.
64:15You have to wait for a few weeks with Jaden.
64:18And then Kincaid, probably not a good time to trade him either after two bad weeks.
64:23What do we do? Lucas wants to know, what do we do with Parker Washington?
64:27Keep. Hold. He's good. Stardom. Yeah. One bad week.
64:30It's fine. Kind of had two bad weeks. And he caught a touchdown two weeks ago.
64:35Last week, like I said, he got shadowed by DJ Turner, top cornerback for Cincinnati.
64:39That was only when he was outside, not when he was in the slot.
64:43Rest of season, Joshua wants to know, Adam I.
64:46Mitchell or Keenan Allen? Keenan Allen. PPR Keenan Allen.
64:49T. Higgins and Jamar Chase were going through red zone work.
64:52All right. We'll see what happens there. We're getting live updates from Jamie.
64:56That's good. I like it. And now it's time for your questions.
65:00We got three or four minutes here. Yes, we know who Mike Ditka is.
65:04Who doesn't know who Mike Ditka is? Come on.
65:07The Bears. Young people may not know, but I'm not young.
65:10The Bears. Dare I say, start two. Concepcion, Roman Wilson, Tyler Algier, or Mike Kosicki?
65:15Concepcion, for starters, for me. I'm assuming this is PPR or some version of it.
65:19Wilson, for me. Or Gusecki, I guess. No, Wilson.
65:22Wilson and Gusecki, if any of the Bengals receivers are up.
65:25I like Concepcion, for sure, this week. PPR. Would you send Chuba Hubbard for a late 2027 second?
65:31I just traded in Heath's league, my 2027 second, which I'm hoping should be late.
65:35I made the finals last year in Heath's dynasty we started last year, for Chuba Hubbard.
65:40So I did this exact trade. It's a great trade.
65:43Oh, that's why Matt's asking. This is Matt Walters I did the trade with.
65:47Oh, let me tell you about this trade scenario, Adam.
65:50You're going to like this. Listen to this. It's a big win for you.
65:55Thank you. But listen to this, Adam and Jamie.
65:57I've been meaning to tell something. I'm glad we got to this.
66:01Matt offers me a trade. He says in the comments, I'm looking to trade Chuba to somebody who's competing and would want.
66:08So he offers me Chuba Hubbard for a second.
66:10I think what he wanted first was my second and my fourth.
66:14So I look at that and I counter and I ask for like Debo Samuel or like some player that he can
66:21like add that he doesn't need, an older player.
66:23He counters to like, I want Debo and I'm going to give you Debo and Chuba and you have to now give me a two and two threes.
66:32So hell no. I think it was even a two twos and a three.
66:36Hell no. I said to that quick, quick, you know, deny.
66:39Like we're in back constant force. We're getting notifications.
66:42Quickly deny that. Then he pulls the two and four trade and now he offers me a new trade.
66:48Chuba for my second and third. I was disgusted with that.
66:51The two and four was just up five minutes ago.
66:54Quick deny. And I send it back Chuba for a two and I let it sit.
66:59And then finally he came back and accepted it.
67:02And I felt like I won that battle because I was just like, are you kidding me to go for the two
67:09and three after the two and four is your first ask?
67:12I, okay. I like that negotiation. That's good. I knew he wanted to give him up and I was one of, there's
67:19only a few teams who could have given him a pick for Chuba.
67:22Who wins Derek Henry and Devante Adams or Puka Nakua and Brees Hall?
67:26Puka Hall. I don't know about that. Me either.
67:29It's tough. I'm going with Derek Henry Adams. Those are the touchdown scores.
67:33The old guys. The constant touchdown scores. Yeah. Derek Henry is so freaking good in fantasy.
67:38Yeah, because Puka thinks. Every single day of every single year.
67:41We just keep doubting him. And so is Puka.
67:44But like, I would prefer the other side of that over Brees Hall who's already injured.
67:49I just want to tell you real quick. Devante Adams, his target per out run rate.
67:54Oh, let's go with his target share. Target share in two games with Puka Nakua.
67:5822%, 18%. Two games without him, 33%, 26.5%. So it's, you know, it's not the worst time.
68:03But the touchdowns are going to come. They always do for him.
68:07Grade the trade in non-PPR, Swift and Higgins for Puka.
68:10Non-PPR. I think you won that getting Puka. Higgins is a touchdown guy though.
68:14Yeah, which is good. Even better for non-PPR. But Higgins is already hurt.
68:18This is a classic Higgins start to get hurt.
68:21Potential season. Would you trade Devante Smith for Jeremiah Love in PPR?
68:25I'd rather have Smith. That's interesting. I think I'd rather have Love.
68:28Keon Coleman if DJ Moore is out. You're going to get crushed in that bet, by the way, Adam.
68:34Crushed. Thanks, bud. Keon Coleman. You've got the Eagles collapsing team.
68:37What are you expecting now? I appreciate it. Keon Coleman.
68:40Do you have an injury out though? You have an injury out, right?
68:44I thought it was if Smith doesn't play enough games or something.
68:48You're good. I don't know. Heath bullied me into accepting his terms.
68:52Oh, you have a bully. Heath bullied accepted terms?
68:54Yeah. Keon Coleman. Heath is a bully according to the.
68:57Jeez, for God's sake. Keon Coleman if Moore is out.
69:00Or Antonio Williams if McLaurin or James is out.
69:03Well, it sounds like Diggs is going to be out.
69:06So if McLaurin's also out, I'll take Williams. Taking Keon Coleman here no matter what.
69:11Carnell Tate or Harold Fannin Jr. That's interesting because you seem to be the only one that shares my optimism for Keon Coleman.
69:18Dave and Heath do not. I definitely have optimism.
69:20Based on watching him play, he looked good. He looks more confident.
69:24And most importantly, they're not just isolating him in one role.
69:27They're letting him move around. I have some confidence.
69:30I think Dave's issue with him is that he's afraid McDuffie's going to be on him.
69:35Well, he also. They just isolate him. Yeah. If they put him in one spot, he's going to be bad.
69:41He also keeps referencing the disappearing act that he's done, which is true.
69:45That's true. Yeah. But I just look at there's two games that DJ Moore has missed.
69:50And now the new version of Joe Brady's offense and DJ Moore's.
69:53I'm excuse me. Keon Coleman's been awesome in those three.
69:56Right. And he's used differently. That's the most important part, I think.
70:00All right. Carnell Tate or Harold Fannin Jr. Half Tate.
70:03Caleb Douglas is unlikely to play. Tate, if he plays.
70:06I know he was injured with a back injury.
70:09I don't know where he's at with that. Tate.
70:12But Tate is great. Waddle, Jamo, or Michael Wilson.
70:14Pick two. Wilson and. Wilson and Waddle. Waddle. Oh, man.
70:17I guess so. Yeah, I guess so. Definitely. I like all three.
70:21It's a tough call. Tate, Harvey, or Jawan Johnson.
70:24Pick one. Tate. Yeah. Even against the Texans. Tate's legit, man.
70:27And they moved him around last week, too. So he's not just lining up on the outside.
70:32He had some slot snaps, which that's how you beat the Texans, right?
70:36The Cowboys showed that. You get your receiver inside.
70:39You can't have them outside against those corners. Charbonnet, Keaton Mitchell, Kalen Black, or Braylon Allen.
70:44Who's the best RB2 dart throw? I mean, can't be for this week because Charbonnet's not playing.
70:49But Charbonnet. I think he means for this week, for season.
70:52And it's Charbonnet by far. Yep. Sit one. Garrett Wilson.
70:55Parker Washington. Malik Nabors. Devontae Adams. Wow. That's tough.
70:58You got a sick receiver core here. I'm sitting Wilson.
71:01It's either Wilson or Adams for me to sit.
71:04And I'm going to sit at Wilson. If the weather's really bad in New York, maybe I'll sit neighbors.
71:09In Washington, but yeah. In Washington, yeah, my bad.
71:12Yeah. But then again, it could be really bad in New York, too.
71:16That's where Garrett Wilson is. Then we sit Garrett Wilson.
