0:08I needed actual verification. That's why I made the switch to Momentus Signature Spec Creatine.
0:13Instead of chasing flavor trends, Momentus set a brand new benchmark by producing their creatine in a pharmaceutical facility with reverse osmosis water purification.
0:21It undergoes a rigorous six-stage testing process with four independent agencies, guaranteeing 10 times fewer impurities, tighter heavy metal limits, and tests for microplastics and purification.
0:29For my own routine, having that level of purity is non-negotiable.
0:32And the fact that it's an ultra-fine powder that mixes seamlessly with no clumping makes it effortless to take every day for power, recovery, and brain health.

2:00Swat play! It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
2:03Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
2:06So here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
2:09Jamie's already beat red and cracking up. You know it's going to be a good show.
2:14What's going on, Jamie? What's so funny? I mean, Dan's in a closet.
2:18It's a game of business. Can we zoom out a little bit?
2:22Can we get a different view? I don't really know how we would zoom out.
2:26No, he's got to put them by himself. Not you.
2:29Yeah, yeah. Here we can see the rest of the closet.
2:33You know what? This is great. For those who don't know, I'm in the lovely, beautiful city of Chicago.
2:39There it is. There's a little zoomed out. The lovely, beautiful city of Chicago celebrating love.
2:44My friend's getting married tomorrow. And is it great in the middle of the season?
2:48Have to uproot and go somewhere? No. But I did figure this out.
2:52And listen, I'm staying in an Airbnb with five of our friends, six of our friends, actually.
2:58And this was the only spot in the entire Airbnb that had some privacy.
3:02So instead of making everyone listen to the Fantasy Football Today mailbag or you guys on the show and the audience hearing
3:09people talking about all sorts of things going on, I said, I found myself a little nook and cranny over here.
3:15And I found myself a little spot. And the audio sounds a little weird to me, but I think it's a good find for me.
3:23I think this is a good spot. I mean, I have to hold the Michael show.
3:28Who knows when that arm will get tired? This left arm already feels tired.
3:33That's tough. That's when I drop off. That's tough.
3:35But I appreciate it. Listen. I need my Zbiotics.
3:38Dan did not need to do the show today.
3:41Trooper. Yeah. He's sitting in a closet holding a microphone.
3:44It's not the lightest microphone either. So I appreciate your dedication.
3:48He doesn't want to miss the bag. He doesn't want to miss a bag.
3:52I don't ever want to miss the bag. I just have to ask the level of friendship.
3:57I mean, obviously, it's a very good friend because you flew Chicago.
4:01Who gets married in football season? Yeah. Come on.
4:04Trust me. There's a lot of concern about that on my end.
4:08But I'm here. Had three hours of plane delays yesterday.
4:11Don't ever fly into O'Hare Airport. You want to talk about the worst airport in the world?
4:16I mean, you can't find a worse airport. We're sitting on there taxiing for 70 minutes after.
4:21And they're like, well, there's a long line of planes.
4:24I don't want to hear about the line. I'm landed.
4:27Get me out of here and get me in the airport.
4:31It's hot in that plane. All right. Today on the show.
4:34I'm going to Chicago. We got the fantasy cops back.
4:37We've got your emails at fantasyfootballatcbsi.com. That's the letter I.
4:41Fantasyfootballatcbsi.com. We're going to read some questions from the chat to start the show and to end the show.
4:47We've got your Apple podcast questions. If you want to ask us one there, you got to leave us a five-star review.
4:53Tell people why you like the show. Then you can ask your question and try to do it by Monday or Tuesday
5:00because they take a while to populate. And not today, but beginning next week, we'll start getting your Spotify comments on this show.
5:07All right. Let's start with the YouTube chat. And from Butter Reasons, half PBR, give me two.
5:13Marshawn Lloyd, Matthew Golden, Isaiah Likely. Golden and Likely for me.
5:16Yeah. Jamie. Yeah. Same. Oh, Jamie's mute. Jamie, you're on mute.
5:20I would bench Marshawn Lloyd. Yeah. Okay. Same. Yeah.
5:22Judkins, Ja'Cory Krosky, Merritt, Jeremiah Love, Marshawn Lloyd. I guess only one here from Jacoby.
5:27Judkins, Bill, Love, Lloyd. I'd probably go Love, but it's close between him and – it's close between him, Lloyd, and Judkins.
5:34Let's see. It doesn't – it's full PPR. Yeah, it's got to be Love for me.
5:39Love actually looked really good, I thought, last week when we went down, broke down his tape.
5:44He just – the role was weird. I think that was somewhat game script dependent or maybe because they're working him back.
5:51He easily has the most upside to me. I am patiently waiting for Adam and Dan to realize they are both in my new profile.
5:59That's great. Oh, my gosh. Is that – is that – what's the – Yes.
6:04Wow. Will Ferrell and – You'll get there. Will Ferrell and John C.
6:08Reilly. Uh-huh. Why am I forgetting the name of this movie?
6:11Talladega Nights. No. Stepbrothers. Stepbrothers. Stepbrothers. Speaking of forgetting, I heard you forgot something pretty.
6:16Important on this week's show. Would you like to hear how that went down?
6:20Yes, I would. All right. Yeah. Someone said, what is the game of the week?
6:25This is the end of – for those of you who didn't stay around for an hour and 20 minutes on Friday
6:32morning show, this is what happened at the very end.
6:35Thanks for watching and listening, everybody. We will talk to you on the mailbag.
6:39The fantasy cops are coming back. Da-da-da. There is no game of the week.
6:43Yeah, da-da-da. Da-da-da. The idiot host forgot the song.
6:46Wow. It's only been hosting for 15 years. No game of the week.
6:50Yeah. Da-da-da-da. Da-da-da. Well done, Dave. Well done. Da-da-da.
6:53Da-da-da. Da-da-da. Wow. You suck at them. Yep. I do.
6:56That was awesome. Good idea, Jamie. Yeah. That's how you sing one of our theme songs, Dan.
7:01Yeah. That is much better than mine. I actually had a listener crack on me this weekend thinking that I was seriously thinking I was good at that.
7:10That the fantasy cop song. It's not just a bit.
7:13People are crazy. But Dave, that was phenomenal. I don't think it's Dave's best moment on the show.
7:19The light in the eye. Nothing will ever beat that really.
7:22Oh. That was just as good as it gets for Fantasy Football Today content.
7:27But pretty good. And what happened, Adam? I don't know.
7:30I just completely forgot. I completely forgot. Okay. Are you ready?
7:33So far, you went with a crappy game of the week for week one and no game of the week for week two.
7:40Great. You're off to good. If you tune into this.
7:44Yeah. His game of the week in week one was a 25 point blowout.
7:48And it was never close. If you tune into a Sunday morning show, I will get Dave with a game of the week.
7:55You know what the best part about this is?
7:58It was the highest scoring week one in NFL history.
8:01That's true. He could have chosen any game except the one that he chose.
8:05Like anyone. I mean, they were so I couldn't have chosen Jaguars Browns.
8:09Okay. How about Jaden Daniels or Trevor Lawrence? I'd go.
8:13Trevor. But I'm on outlier with that one. Oh, really?
8:16I think Lawrence is easy. Okay. Start to Luther Burden, Jalen Coker, Parker Washington.
8:20I love Washington. But I bet. Burden. Yeah. Washington Burden for me.
8:24Lloyd. Lloyd. Downs or Wicks. It's full PPR. Ew.
8:27If Pierce is out. Downs or Wicks. If Pierce is out, I'd go Downs.
8:31If Pierce is in, I'd go Lloyd. I don't think I'd go Lloyd in any scenario.
8:36I think it'd be Downs or Wicks for me for full PPR.
8:40Though I do think Caitlin Black's a sneaky play, but not in this format.
8:44Dan, what do you think about this? I see a flex spot and I want to Cailan Black.
8:50I'm trying to think. It's not bad. It's not bad.
8:53I'll give it a 7.3. I don't want to start up there, though.
8:57Purdy or Baker? I don't mind doing this flex.
9:00Purdy. Purdy or Baker? Yeah, it's got to be Purdy.
9:03Wondell Robinson or Xavier Hutchinson if Nico's out? I'd still go Wondell.
9:07I'd go Hutchinson. Did Dan wrestle the armrests from the guy next to him on the plane again?
9:12A, I never wrestled the armrest. I just felt like, look, and listen, this guy, I'm going to revisit this for a quick second.
9:20He took up both armrests, okay? At some point, you have to have the decency and respect to not take up both armrests.
9:27I was lucky enough this time that there was no middle seat.
9:31I was in an aisle, and there was a window, and there was no middle.
9:35The best feeling ever on a plane. When you sit down on a plane, and then the other person says, I'm in
9:42that row, and you're like, all right, all right.
9:45Don't sit in the middle. Don't sit in the middle.
9:48He goes to the final. He goes to the window.
9:51And then you're waiting, and you're waiting, and everyone's bored, and you're like, yes, please, please, please.
9:56That's one of the best feelings in the world when no one takes that middle seat.
10:01You lock in. You're like, is anybody coming? It looks like the steward.
10:05They're putting the bags away. We're good. We're good.
10:08We got the middle open. Great feeling. Yeah, listen, I think that sitting in the middle is obviously the worst seat.
10:15You should be entitled to the two armrests. That's the only benefit of sitting in the middle.
10:20You have your armrests. Yeah, that's what a lot of people think.
10:24That's what the majority thought. I didn't know that.
10:27I'm willing to respect that. You should be entitled to the entire armrest.
10:31You should be entitled to use it. Well, you're not going to share the armrests.
10:35Yeah, the problem that I was – I think you're right.
10:39Yeah, somebody goes stop. Somebody goes bottom. Oh, no.
10:42Come on. No, but that's how I thought – I'm with Jamie.
10:45I usually share it. There's at least some room.
10:48That's the thing. You opened my eyes to a new idea on this.
10:52The middle does deserve both, but to the extent of reaching that arm out into the space of the other person, that's the problem I had.
11:00Then the legs too were in my area. You know you have a defined leg spot where you don't cross that line.
11:07It's an imaginary line, but you don't cross that line and put your leg into that line.
11:12It's going to piss somebody off. It's not even really all that imaginary.
11:17I mean, you can't be doing that. Marshawn Lloyd or Quentin Johnston if McConkie's out?
11:21I'd go Johnston, especially with PPR. Yeah, it's Johnson for me.
11:25I'm not starting Marshawn Lloyd anywhere. Bucky or Pickens in the flex?
11:28PPR, Pickens. I'd go Pickens too, but who are you binging?
11:32Yeah. Seriously. Okay. That's it for the first round of your YouTube comments.
11:36We'll get back to those a little bit later.
11:39Sunday morning, again, I'll make up for my game of the week flub, and I'll get Dave there.
11:44But Sunday morning, 11 to 1 p.m. Eastern, youtube.com slash fantasyfootballtoday.
11:48Two hours of answering your questions. Please join us because, yeah, I mean, it's a great way to get your questions answered.
11:55I mean, that's basically all we do, and we'll also give you all the major headlines and stuff like that.
12:01But that is Sunday morning, 11 to 1 Eastern, youtube.com slash fantasyfootballtoday.
12:05Time for emails at fantasyfootballatcbsi.com. Andy's in a 10-team PPR league.
12:08If McConkie and Flowers are out, do I play Devon Vele or pick up Trey Harris, Baitman, or a Texan?
12:14Vele for me. It's Vele because you want to play this smart and play it based on the volume we've seen.
12:21But I will say this. Trey Harris, if McConkie is out, is one of my favorite Flyers of the week.
12:27And I would suggest if McConkie is out starting him in basically every league that you need a flex in.
12:33I would also say that about Baitman, too, because you don't only have Flowers out.
12:38You have Jacoby Lane out. And Lamar Jackson was speaking very highly of Rashad Baitman this week.
12:43If Flowers hasn't been ruled out yet, correct? No, neither has McConkie.
12:47Yeah, we're waiting for some practice reports. Hopefully they'll come in during our show today.
12:52This is from Doug. Please pick three. It's a full PPR league.
12:55T. Higgins, Devontae Smith, Luther Burden, and Matthew Golden.
12:58Wow. First three for me. It is still the first three for me, but full PPR.
13:03I don't think I could bench Burden. Yeah, I think you have to go with the studs there.
13:09I'm just going to go out on a limb and say I think Matthew Golden.
13:13Okay. I feel like we might be getting a little too excited.
13:17Because the game script is kind of wonky? You know, look, I definitely think they're going to throw more than they used to, like without question.
13:25Yeah. But again, like I think I said 25% of his routes were go routes.
13:30He's still, you know, he's not going to get a lot of easy targets.
13:34And this is going to be one of those teams where week by week it's going to be a little hard to predict the targets, I think.
13:43That's my guess. You know, you got a lot of Golden targets in week one.
13:47I'm encouraged. I mean, I think he's going to be a good draft pick.
13:52But at this point, I'm not putting... They all got targets.
13:55That's the thing, though. They did. And Kraft only played half the snaps.
13:59And the running backs did not get targets, which is great for the receivers.
14:04I just, I don't think I'm at the point...
14:06I know I'm not at the point where I'm even considering him over Higgins, Devontae Smith, or Luther Burden.
14:12No. Now, of course, he could be better than them as fantasy football, but I understand the question.
14:18Also, the guy's name is Doug. Does anybody ever hear the name Doug without thinking of The Hangover at this point?
14:25No. I think if I heard the name Doug, the first thing that comes to my mind was Doug Funny.
14:31That was my childhood. Yeah. That's what comes first for me.
14:34Okay. I'm a dude. Or no, that's the wrong one.
14:37Yeah, I think that's the wrong one. What's the Doug one?
14:41There's a good one. There's a good one in there.
14:44I don't remember. Blanking on it. I think this guy's name, I'm going to pronounce it Shimon.
14:49He's down 70 points already. And try to win this week with upside or think long.
14:54He's 0-1, down 70 points. He needs to start five.
14:57Devon H. Ann Hampton. Ramondre Stevenson. We need two running backs.
15:01Going to be the first two, right? Yep. He's got Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson.
15:05They have more upside anyway. Yeah. Zay Flowers, Garrett Wilson, Jalen Coker, Parker Washington.
15:09We need two of those. Flowers may not play.
15:12So if he does, you play him. Yeah, that seems like that one will work itself out, right?
15:18Just Coker and Washington. Garrett Wilson, Parker Washington, and Jalen Coker.
15:21Oh, no. Wilson and Washington then. I'd go Wilson and Washington too.
15:25Unless Flowers is in. And then you have a flex.
15:28So the flex is either going to be Flowers or it's going to be Coker or Ramondre.
15:33I think the receivers. Yeah, especially if it's full PPR.
15:37It seems like it is, right? So I don't understand what the question is long term.
15:42I guess it's just essentially the running back, right, over Coker.
15:45I don't know why he said think long. No, unless he's trying to lose and get a better waiver spot.
15:51I don't know. Yeah, I'm not sure. He also said he tried to find a single movie or TV show where the cast had either actors or characters.
16:00Named Dave, Heath, Adam, and Jamie. And he couldn't find any in 100 years.
16:04That's awesome. Unless we do a movie ourselves. Yeah, we could do a movie.
16:09There is a Fantasy Football Today movie in the works.
16:12It's scheduled for 2040, I believe, the release date.
16:15I know some people. I would love to. This is from Nick.
16:18Who says you're in it? Who said I'm in it?
16:21No, Dan. Of course. I didn't say I was in it.
16:25I'm directing it. Okay. Start one. You better be careful, buddy.
16:28Johnny. Jalen Waddell or Jalen Coker? I might go Coker.
16:31We're ready at that point with Waddell. It can't look as bad as it did for the Broncos offense.
16:37They couldn't complete a forward pass for most of that game.
16:41Spags is unbelievable. But you have to be somewhat concerned with their offensive line at this point, which was coming into the
16:48year supposed to be one of the best in the NFL.
16:51And in my mind was not able to help them generate a drop back pass game, which is weird.
16:57I think Coker's a little bit safer, but I still play Waddell.
17:01It's only week two. Yeah. And I'm nervous. I'm saying Waddell, but I'm nervous about it for sure.
17:06We're going to take a break. We got more of your questions when we come back.
17:11Stick around to the mailbag. The fun is just beginning on Fantasy Football today.
17:16My companion for this summer season has been Z-Biotics.
17:18Let me tell you why. Just headed out to a concert at Pier 17.
17:23Howl Mouth. What a show. I got home at 3 a.m.
17:26And I realized 8 a.m. tea time. What am I going to do?
17:30I got a big match. No worries at all.
17:33I took Z-Biotics the night before. Had a few drinks.
17:36Woke up the next day like nothing happened. Got to that course at 7 a.m.
17:41Warmed up and won my match. Z-Biotics pre-alcohol probiotic drink is the world's first genetically engineered probiotic.

18:14I recently took a trip to Memphis for the FFT Draft-A-Thon.
18:18While we were there, we also got to experience a little bit of what makes Memphis so special, including some of the food the city is famous for.
18:26We had Memphis-style barbecue with pulled pork, ribs, and all the classic sides.
18:30It was an incredible trip, especially getting to spend time with everyone involved, enjoy some great local food, and support a cause
18:37that means so much to all of us. And while I was away enjoying the trip, my place back home was just sitting empty.
18:45It got me thinking. If you're going to be away anyway, why not put that space to use?
18:50While you're traveling or taking off for a long weekend, you could list your space on Airbnb and earn some extra cash while you're gone.
18:58And when big events come to your city, like a major game, concert, festival, or convention, travelers are looking for places to stay.
19:05Listing your space on Airbnb can be a way to welcome those visitors to your city while putting your space to work
19:12and earning some extra cash that you can put toward your next trip.

20:16And we are back here. Okay. Quick question from the chat.
20:20We want Dan's thoughts on Adam's new head-to-head fantasy league with best ball playoff scoring.
20:25It is not best ball playoff scoring, but I would like to hear Dan's thoughts.
20:29Also, we found out before Dan gets into it that you stole this idea.
20:34Oh, no. Oh, you've been called out. I'm not the first one to come up with it, but I didn't steal it.
20:40I have no idea. You've been called out. I've never heard it before.
20:45At least I don't remember hearing it before. You've been called out by a very good friend of yours.
20:50Who? Let Dan go and I'll reveal the source.
20:53All right. I cannot wait to hear what Jamie's talking about.
20:57I think you're going to like it. It's, you know, six teams make the playoffs in a 12-team league.
21:03The first week is two teams get a bye and you do the head-to-head matchups and all that.
21:08You get to your final four teams. No more matchups.
21:11All four teams play for two weeks. They set their lineup each week.
21:15Highest scoring team wins. Oh, and the highest scoring team wins it all.
21:19Yeah. After you, it's a two-week playoff for four teams.
21:23For four teams. So you can't sit there. Oh, I ran into a buzzsaw.
21:27I had a really bad week. Yeah, I hate to say it, but I absolutely love this.
21:32You know how I am. I'm the guy that says you should be giving half of the payout and potting your league to the points winner.
21:40I'm the guy that doesn't like the whole schedule nonsense.
21:43And I'm a big fan of median scoring. I want apex scoring.
21:47I want more matchups each week. Make it less luck.
21:50And this, to me, seems like it takes the luck and variance factor down some.
21:55Anything I can do to minimize variance, I'm in on in fantasy football.
21:59There's already so much variance to begin with. So I'm in on this idea, though I am of wildly concern with the accusation that you stole this idea.
22:08Well, Mel says in the chat, wait a minute, Adam, if you said you never heard about it before, but then you
22:15said you're not the first one, that doesn't make sense.
22:18So since I said this on the show two days ago, I've gotten a number of emails from people saying that we
22:25do the same exact thing in our leagues. So I know this isn't an original idea.
22:30And it's possible, honestly, that throughout the course of time, someone planted the seed in my head and said it and I just forgot.
22:37But whatever, I'm not taking any credit for this.
22:40I just think that this is a better way to do it.
22:44And in the podcast league and maybe in our softball league that Dan is in and had a great week one, I might propose it.
22:51I might propose it this weekend. I like it a lot.
22:55And I've seen the chat. Johnny said, no, luck is part of the game.
22:59And he given something. I respect that, Johnny. I think even if you do things like this to minimize the variance, luck is still such a massive factor.
23:08There's injuries. There's all sorts of nonsense. Like luck is already ticked up so high.
23:13Why not take it down as much as we can?
23:16It's still going to be there no matter what luck.
23:19Yeah. All right, Jamie. What did I do? Jay Darren Darst.
23:22Oh, really? And he doesn't. This is the kind of guy.
23:26If he said something, you listen. Yeah, we've been doing this fantasy playoff thing for 20 plus years.
23:31Oh, cool. So I replied to him. I said, Adam stole it from you.
23:36And he said, maybe not on purpose, but we've been running our league like this for at least 20 years.
23:42I'll hang up and listen for credit on the next podcast.
23:45There you go. And he got his credit as well.
23:48One of your closest friends. You stole it without even giving him credit.
23:53He smashed me in one of our leagues last week, too.
23:56And then he talked a little trash afterwards. But that's cool.
23:59All right, good. It's a good idea. I think we should all start doing it.
24:04Not doing every league, but I think you should start considering it.
24:08All right. This one is. The problem with it is that you most likely have to do it manually, correct?
24:14Because that's the problem I run into in my home league with a lot of the things I propose.
24:20It goes, yeah, but people want to see the standings page and they want to see it.
24:25They want to look at it. That's the thing.
24:28Like we've I proposed like running points because we get half our pot to the points winners first and second.
24:34I propose running points to the playoffs. And people are like, no, Yahoo, whatever doesn't track it.
24:40Like CBS doesn't track it. Yahoo doesn't track it through the playoffs, like whatever league you're using.
24:45No. So that's the problem. That's where your idea runs into its biggest problem.
24:49You have to like create a Google sheet and nobody likes that.
24:53No, you don't have to do that. Not in CBS.
24:56You just match up everybody with an open opponent.
24:59You see four matchups there at the top and you see who has the highest score.
25:04All right. More of the reason to use the CBS platform.
25:07There we go. I'm going to know his own platform or how to use a mic stand.
25:13I know how to use my mic stand. I'm not going to bring a mic stand on me with this trip.
25:19You're lucky. I'm getting it. All right, guys. Back to it here.
25:23I'm going to read the greeting. I'm going to let you figure it out, but don't say what it is.
25:29Okay? Because it's inappropriate. Dear Clark, Vital, Butkus, and In a Box, I am the AJ Brown and DJ Moore manager in
25:36a full PPR 12 team league with three receivers and a flex and super deep benches.
25:41Waiver wire is bleak. I still have Evans, Diggs, but Keenan Allen, Trey Tucker, and Adonai Mitchell.
25:46I have Bijan, Kyron Williams, Blake Corum, Bill. I was offered DK Metcalf and Carnell Tate for my AJ Brown and Mike Washington Jr.
25:54And I'm probably going to be 0-2. What do you think?
25:57Would you give up AJ Brown and Mike Washington for DK Metcalf and Carnell Tate?
26:02No. No. And honestly, I've seen a lot of AJ Brown questions.
26:06I try to trade AJ Brown in a league where I've got McConkie and DJ Moore as well.
26:11I would never accept Metcalf and Carnell Tate. You've got to get a player that you can start.
26:17And try to find a 2-0 team. It's going to be hard to do it this week.
26:22Find a 2-0 team. Maybe you have to wait until there's a 3-0 team.
26:27But I understand the AJ Brown stuff, but this is not enough.
26:30It's a rough start. Is the bet AJ Brown versus a flowers?
26:34No, right? Oh. All right. From Brett. Start Mahomes or Dart?
26:37Four point for passing touchdown league. Adam, be objective.
26:40What do you guys think? Dan, be objective. Yeah.
26:43I mean, I was low on Dart from a fantasy standpoint to start the season.
26:48I got called out on it from Scott Barrett yesterday on Twitter.
26:51But in this matchup, I think it's probably a better play to play Mahomes.
26:56There's a good enough chance the Giants take a step back this week.
27:00They're not able to do what they want to do.
27:03If Aaron Donald plays, he's going to be a massive mismatch for the Giants because they don't have a good center.
27:10Probably better off playing Mahomes in this. Colts defense looked horrible to me.
27:14Yeah, I would play Dart. I think they're... You go Dart.
27:17There's a chasing point scenario here that could help him if the Rams offense shows up.
27:22And I like the fact that he ran. You know, so...
27:25He's never going to stop running. Yeah, and he played a lot of tough matchups last year, and he did pretty damn well.
27:33I know. In a lot of... He was on...
27:35He scored so much against Denver defense last year.
27:38If you look at it fantasy-wise, he's had one bad game, I think, the Vikings game, where they just didn't let him throw.
27:45Yeah, Patriots game. And did he have Washington... Which one did you say?
27:49Patriots? Patriots. Patriots Monday night. Yeah, where he got the hit.
27:53Yeah. Yeah. And like two or three bad games, and that's all.
27:57Yeah. That's a tough call for me because I think Mahomes will be all right this week.
28:02Yeah, Colts defense is so bad. I'm going to go dart.
28:05I'm going to go dart. Okay, this is from Chad from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
28:10Put PPR... Put PPR... PPR, Flexspot, Judkins, Dobbins, Kalief Raymond, or Mack Hollins?
28:14Judkins, Dobbins, Malik Neighbors. No, I mean... Kalief Raymond.
28:17Kalief Raymond. You mean one? Yeah, and Mack Hollins.
28:19Yeah, just one. It's still Judkins for me. Unless Harvey's out, then I might go Dobbins.
28:24Yeah, it's Judkins. I mean, there's just more upside.
28:27I'm just laughing at the chat from Adam Lee.
28:30It's really funny. What would the chat say? I think I can read this on there.
28:35I don't know. No, that's all right. I said, oh man, I got hammered on Jack Daniels.
28:40Like, Dan advised me and Z-Biotics bailed me out of work today.
28:44Thanks, bro. It's true, though. The Z-Biotics is unreal.
28:47I did have it like two weekends ago when I went out to a concert and just felt like nothing happened when I woke up.
28:55That's great. Weird. It's science, man. This is from TJ.
28:5812-team, half PPR league. I have Ken Walker and Devon Achan.
29:01And Omari and Hampton. But not a lot of wide receivers.
29:05So, should I trade Hampton for David Montgomery and Debo Samuel?
29:08I would aim higher, but yeah, I would aim higher.
29:11I would never do that trade in my lifetime.
29:14We watched the tape. The Chargers week one is one of the most overreacted games, in my opinion, in all fantasy right now.
29:21They look good. Then McConkie got hurt. And then they had a few F-ups on offense, like missing things by little amounts that forced them to punt.
29:30And then they had a turnover. But they were never really stopped.
29:33And Hampton had so many good gains in that game.
29:36And to me, it looked good. So, I think it's the most overrated or overreacted to week one.
29:42I think that offense is going to be fine.
29:45I think just the alarming thing would be is that there were concerns about the middle of the offensive line.
29:51They got exposed. He wasn't involved in the passing game.
29:54That sucked. And just the natural feel about whenever you get a team like this struggling again.
29:59You know, so is it just the same old Chargers being the Chargers?
30:04This is a telling week. You know, and not having McConkie, I think, will be big for Hampton.
30:09Because why would you not just lean on your running back and hopefully just walk away with this game?
30:15Because they should be able to defend the Raiders.
30:18All right. Question from Kenneth. I got offered Chris Olave and Jadarian Price for Chase Brown in a 10-team PPR league.
30:24That's close. If you need receivers, I don't mind it.
30:28Because you're getting, you know, you're buying low on Price.
30:31He can easily go off this week and then be the guy for Seattle, at least until Charbonnet's back.
30:37And Olave's a stud. But their draft value was relatively close to begin with.
30:41So I would maybe look for a little bit higher.
30:44But that's a fair deal. It's a fair trade.
30:47I think it's better in a 12 and 14 or a 14-team league than a 10.
30:52So you might not really need Jadarian Price. But it's always good to have some depth.
30:57So I think it's a fine trade. From Jared from Arizona.
31:00Dear Bronco, DeAndre, Matthew, and Walter. Walter. Bronco, DeAndre, Matthew, and Walter.
31:04No idea. I am pretty sure these are Bears running backs.
31:07By the way, the one we thought was easy to know earlier, I had no idea about it.
31:13The Buckus, whatever. I mean, this just. Are you serious?
31:16It's like Bears players, I guess. Dick Vitale. Oh, oh, oh, oh.
31:20I see it now. I see it now. I see it now.
31:24You obviously have never seen the In the Box.
31:26What is that? You ever saw that? Just go Google it when you're done.
31:31Okay. You'll laugh your ass off. It is one of the best SNL skits in a long time.
31:36It's not a skit. It's like a prepackaged song.
31:39Anyway, this is. What? Prepackaged? No, just him not knowing what those were.
31:43Bronco, Nagurski, DeAndre Swift. I'm guessing Matthew Forte and Walter Payton.
31:47Great to trade. I give Garrett Wilson and Harold Fannin.
31:50I get Brock Bowers and Devon Vele. In a 12-team PPR league.
31:54He has Justin Jefferson, Romo Dunze, Jalen Coker, Matthew Golden.
31:57So he can give up Garrett Wilson and Fannin, get Bowers and Vele.
32:01That's one I would click so fast to accept that, to make sure the opposing manager doesn't take it back, that it would already be done.
32:09So to me, it's an easy win. You could be worried that Bowers will linger all year, that injury.
32:15That's exactly what I was going to say. But the upside to me is worth it.
32:20Garrett Wilson, he's fine. We overrate him. I think general fantasy world overrates him.
32:24He's a good player to have, and you could rely on him for our wide receiver, too.
32:29He has no major league-winning upside like Bowers has to me, at least.
32:33I would definitely accept the trade. I would disagree a little bit on the Garrett Wilson assessment.
32:39On his upside? Yeah, I mean, look, he's going to get uber-targeted, which we love.
32:43He was off to such an amazing start last year before the knee injury.
32:48And so hopefully that happens to some level again.
32:51It's just a matter of Geno Smith being Geno Smith.
32:54But the knock on Garrett Wilson, at least somewhat, coming in was the addition of Sadiq, the addition of Adonai Mitchell since
33:01the injury, the addition of Omar Cooper. Cooper's now out for an extended period of time.
33:06I don't think Sadiq and Mitchell are going to impact his target share.
33:10So I'm definitely fine with the trade, but I think it's pretty fair if you need receivers.
33:15We're going to see some crazy receiver trades in the next week or two with these injuries, especially if Nico Ladd and Zay Flowers miss time.
33:23And hopefully DJ Moore sounds like he's okay. But you're losing bodies at this position.
33:28This goes to your theory, Adam, that we discussed in the preseason of running back injuries versus receiver injuries.
33:34It's a myth at this point. Yeah, and these guys are dropping quickly.
33:38So, you know, we may see some of these, you know, these wild trades for running backs and other players for receivers.
33:45Oh, I just figured out on the fly. Oh, look at you.
33:48A makeshift mic stand. My arms are getting so, so tired.
33:52I could not believe we're 28 minutes in. Can you still hear me all right?
33:56Yeah, good enough. Good enough. Oh, this is great.
33:59All right, I'm going to do a few more emails here and then get on to the fantasy cops.
34:05Or maybe we can try to go like rapid fire.
34:08This is from Paul. Which wide receiver do I start this week alongside George Pickens in a non-PPR league?
34:14T. Higgins, Emeka Abuka, Christian Watson, Luther Burden. That's like the perfect non-PPR wide receiver roster right there.
34:20It's so good. How many does he need? He needs one.
34:23Assuming he's going to start Pickens. Higgins for me.
34:26That's interesting because the touchdown potential for Higgins and Watson could be amazing.
34:30I might go back to Higgins. Okay. I'm Higgins there.
34:33I'm Higgins too. I would go Higgins most weeks, but just with the Texans matchup.
34:38Like the Texans defense looked pretty bad week one.
34:41I think what we saw last night was that the Bills are just going to humiliate everyone.
34:46They're unstoppable. So I think I'll get away from Higgins for Abuka this week.
34:50Actually, no. I'm going to change my answer. I'm going to go Watson.
34:54Okay. Yeah. He's a touchdown scorer. No doubt. This is from Amy.
34:58Just traded Brian Thomas Jr. for Parker Washington. One guy in my league is a big BTJ believer.
35:04I need to start three of the four now.
35:07Parker Washington, Malik Neighbors, Mike Evans, Garrett Wilson. And I'm starting Trevor Lawrence.
35:11So sit one. Parker Washington, Malik Neighbors, Mike Evans, Garrett Wilson.
35:14I'm sitting Evans. You're sitting Evans. Wow. Love these guys.
35:17They're all great. Yeah. To me, it's either Wilson or Washington for the sit.
35:22I said this on the first. I love Evans matchup this week.
35:25So I couldn't sit him. Yeah, I agree. Yeah.
35:28And I know you're not. And I said this to Jacob on the last show.
35:33I think this might be the last week that he ranks Malik Neighbors outside his top 12 at receivers.
35:39I mean, if you look at it last week, the role he had first week back, that's incredible.
35:44And it's just going to continue to grow. And that was like a floor roll at worst and better.
35:50He said he believed he could have scored two touchdowns if he wasn't as rusty, which we'll see.
35:56And it's a tough matchup. But Washington or Wilson to bench, I'll bench Wilson of that, though I may be underrating Wilson.
36:03I just feel like every year we prop up Wilson a little more than what he's actually produced in fantasy football.
36:09Did you watch the Jets tape? No, I didn't get a chance to watch Jets Titans.
36:14And I'm curious to know. There's like three games I missed.
36:18Yeah, I'm curious to know what you think. Because I thought they were great.
36:22Like schematically or just? No, I just thought they, I don't know about it.
36:26That's not kind of above my pay grade. But I just thought that they looked really competent.
36:32Like, you know, with a good rhythm, on time, you know, very fluid offense.
36:36And Tennessee really had no pass rush. So that was a big part of it.
36:41But they just looked really competent. And we'll have a much different test this week.
36:45I don't know how good of a defense Green Bay is, but it'll be better than Tennessee's.
36:51It's interesting. Yeah. Curious to know your thoughts if you get a chance.
36:55Yeah, I want to watch them now. Because there are pieces there.
36:58The offensive line is completely revamped with a lot of talent.
37:02And Gino, when he has time, has been really good quarterback at the NFL level.
37:07So I'm curious. I think they're going to start getting Kenyon Sadiq the ball more.
37:11But also, like with Garrett Wilson, two years in a row, he's been a top 12 receiver per game for the first six games of the year.
37:20And then just fell off. No, well, two years ago, they traded for Devontae Adams.
37:24And last year was the injury. So I think he's a little better than you give him credit for.
37:30Probably a lot better. But yeah, I just feel like the way we rank him every year, it's based on a little bit of hope.
37:38But we'll see. All right. Some practice reports for you.
37:41Yes. Jalen Coker is going through special teams drills, so it seems like he's fine.
37:46Okay. Excuse me. Joe Burrow practicing. Still a little bit limited, but it seems like he's fine.
37:51Sean Tucker and Jalen McMillan practicing in full. Okay.
37:54And Samadji Pirine not practicing, but he was dealing with an illness.
37:58Okay. If he, he'll play, it's just an illness.
38:01But whenever he's out, it's like, it's actually a huge boost to Chase Brown.
38:05Okonkwo not practicing. Okonkwo not practicing. Yeah. Okay. That makes sense.
38:08All right. We're going to take a break. We'll get the fantasy cops involved.
38:13Actually, maybe we'll throw in a fantasy cops before we hit the break.
38:17I actually have a fantasy cops one to report myself.
38:20Oh God. Did I do something? No, no. Me.
38:23Oh, on you. Okay. Yeah. Uh. What do you got?
38:26Oh, you want to do it now? I thought you were going to do a break.
38:31Yeah, we'll get one in and then we'll go break.
38:34Okay. So, uh, my longest running, longest running league.
38:37We, this is actually the, the, um, reason why I moved most of my league waivers to Wednesday is that it just
38:44thought it was easier because you get practice reports in at least one day.
38:48Um, the commissioner apparently changed it. Didn't, didn't tell anybody and changed it to Tuesdays, at least for week one.
38:54Wow. Or I'm sorry, for week two. So I don't know if I was the only one that noticed this or not.
39:01It was like, you know, I, I usually do a lot of my waiver wire stuff like after midnight.
39:07So that like hour and a half window before waivers run, at least on our site, um, I wasn't going to wake anybody up.
39:14This not, not done that for any, you know, strategically, I just was not going to send a text message at midnight
39:21to most people on the East coast and say, Hey, by the way, waivers are, are off.
39:27So I put in my waiver moves thinking it's, it's, you know, blind bidding thinking everybody's going to potentially solve it the same.
39:34I was the only one that got waiver moves.
39:37Now this is a league that's very casual 20 plus years that we've been doing this.
39:42Um, sometimes there are weeks where people don't make waiver moves, but nobody else made waiver moves.
39:47And so I was like, do I say something or not say something?
39:51And I didn't know what to do. So I didn't say anything.
39:55And nobody said anything in the league yet. Nobody said a word.
39:58That's so weird. They just let it go. It's a 10 team league, 10 team league.
40:03So I don't know. Like, you know, people don't like to adjust their rosters very much.
40:08It, like I said, it's very casual league. Okay.
40:11This is, this has been going on for just let it go.
40:15I gotta be honest. If I was in your position, there's a 99 to a hundred percent chance that I just let it go.
40:22No, I did. I'm just like the conscience. You don't get gifts often in this game.
40:27When you get a gift handed to you, you take it.
40:31That's how I look at it. Oh man. All right.
40:34That's our first way overspent for Kalon Black. Yeah.
40:37Cause you didn't need to spend anything. Apparently that was my penalty, I guess.
40:41We got more fantasy cops on the other side of the break.
40:45We'll be right back on fantasy football today. Let's have a conversation about life insurance because it's a very important conversation to have.
40:52I know my wife and I felt like we needed life insurance.

42:44This is from Mason. I am in a chopped league, also referred to as guillotine league, that me and a buddy of
42:50mine commission that has 16 people and has had a huge dilemma the very first week.
42:55This is, this is, okay. Yeah, you know what?
42:58I was going to make a commentary, but I'll just let it play out.
43:03Here we go. After Wednesday and Thursday's games in week one, I noticed that a team didn't set a lineup and this
43:09team also did not participate in the draft, so almost completely inactive.
43:13I, as the commissioner, benched his entire starting roster after he started Travion Henderson, who was inactive, and had Jordan Tyson in the starting lineup.
43:21I did this so the active participants could stay in the running to not get chopped.
43:26This caused a large argument in the chat room where I wished him to have a horrible campaign, and he wished bad
43:33things upon me as well after me dropping his roster to his bench made him realize what was going on.
43:39He did not end up losing week one and is still in the running.
43:43Was I wrong to do what I did after him not being active throughout the process until I made the choice to try to eliminate him myself?
43:52I was forcibly removed from my office as commissioner after this was done, and I was fierce in the defense of my actions.
43:59Please help us bring an end to this all-out war in our league.
44:03You were wrong. Yeah. Yeah, he was wrong. Pretty gut and dry.
44:07Yeah, it was pretty bad commissioning. Yeah, you kind of got what you deserve there.
44:11I hate to say it, but yeah. I don't think he should be removed unless this was not the first-time offense.
44:18But if you were going to go through the process of altering your league mate's roster, why don't we just say, hey, man, your lineup's messed up.
44:26Fix it. Yeah, that's what you should be doing.
44:29Yeah, completely. It's common courtesy. You don't have to do anything.
44:33You don't have to do anything. That's true. But if you're actually going to do something, give the person some notice first.
44:40And by the way, if it's a guillotine league, who cares if they choose not to set their lineup?
44:45Then that's on them. They're out. Well, he thought he was trying to facilitate this guy losing by giving him an even worse lineup.
44:53Right. And I think what it probably did was it alerted this guy and then he finally set a lineup and then he moved on.
45:01I kind of hope this guy wins now. Yeah.
45:04Me too. I hope this guy wins and I hope the commissioner loses immediately.
45:08All right, we've got Commissioner Vizuzo. He says it's a thankless job and I agree with him.
45:13He is such a thankless job. 10-team Superflex League, highly competitive.
45:17Any updates on Uncle Jim, by the way? What's that?
45:20No. Do we have any updates on Uncle Jim?
45:23I know. Agreed. No updates. That's my favorite of all time.
45:26All right, 10-team Superflex League, highly competitive. And we recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary with a draft trip to Charleston with the league.
45:33I say this because we're a tight-knit group. We want to maintain the integrity of the league.
45:38So here's the situation. Our league has a mulligan rule where if a player is injured in the first quarter and does
45:45not return, he can be replaced with a player from the bench before or after their game has started.
45:51Kind of love that. When asked, I, the commissioner, explicitly said to...
45:55Sorry. I have some Dan indigestion here. Okay. I, the commissioner, explicitly said that the mulligan has to be declared before the
46:02end of the Monday night football game for the roster to be edited that evening.
46:07A league mate who wanted to use the mulligan forgot to tell me on Monday night that he wanted to replace Kyler
46:13Murray with a player from his bench. After some thought, I said, let's be better about this moving forward.
46:19And I momentarily allowed the mulligan to occur. Oh, no.
46:22Even though it was after the deadline. No. The opponent declared that the mulligan was not stated on Monday night so it should not count.
46:30After some discussion, I ruled that the mulligan would not be awarded because it was not explicitly stated on Monday.
46:36I fear that I am in the wrong because the manager who was going to use it insinuated multiple times over the
46:43course of Sunday and Monday that he would use it, but he never said it.
46:48It was almost implied. This is a tough spot.
46:51What do we do? It's not a tough spot.
46:54This is like in golf. If you top a ball off the tee box and you go up to it really quick
47:00with your three wood and you blast it and it goes onto the green or if you blast that out of bounds,
47:07like, nah, I would have used a mulligan. You don't have the opportunity once you move on past the point.
47:14And in this situation, it's the deadline of the mulligan has passed.
47:17You missed the deadline for the mulligan. You're done.
47:20No mulligan for you this week. So that's the easy way to define it.
47:24And I don't disagree. If it's a rule, it's a rule.
47:28But if there is a text exchange and something that's in writing or an email exchange that says, hey, I'm going to
47:35use the mulligan and then forgets to say it to you on Monday, like before the deadline passes, but it implied it
47:42based on what this email just said, if they're that close of friends, then I think you'll out.
47:47That opens the door to so much subjectivity. Yeah, like first of all, what you have to do is you have to
47:54make it, the person has to message the entire league.
47:57Put it on the league message board. I'm using the mulligan.
48:01And for this guy who had Kyler Murray and had the option to replace him, Kyler Murray scored basically zero points.
48:07What are you waiting for? Like it's so obvious that you're going to do this.
48:12Right, so that's the point. If he said it...
48:15But he didn't say it well. He didn't say it clearly enough.
48:18And I think you... No, that seems to be the case.
48:22But if you, Adam, had said to me in one of our leagues, I'm going to make this switch or can I make this switch?
48:30And I say yes, and then I forget to do it for you.
48:34Well, that's different. Or you forget to officially declare it and however you're supposed to declare it.
48:39You've already mentioned it or said it. Like why are we ruining friendships over stuff like this that's just semantics?
48:45No. I don't think your friendship should be ruined.
48:48It's not semantics. The rule is the rule. Like you have to call a mulligan.
48:53And it's similar to golf. Like you can't... Not that I...
48:56I mean, it's not really similar to golf. Golf is in real time.
49:00Nobody plays with mulligans. That's ridiculous to begin with.
49:03But if you do have a rule like that, like then you got to declare it.
49:08You can't just hit the ball again and be like...
49:11Like I feel like this guy was kind of playing it like if I needed it, I would have used it.
49:18That's not how the rule... That's not the, you know, honor of the rule.
49:22Yeah. I mean, listen, we don't know what's happened in the past also.
49:26Like he has to declare it before the end of the Monday night game.
49:30Is that what I said? Yeah. I don't understand why he didn't declare it.
49:35It's very weird. I mean, to be honest, Dan Choyne in the chat is right.
49:39Just get rid of any rule that uses subjectivity.
49:42And that's good. You're going to have a better...
49:45And why have we not heard Dan's Fantasy Cops rendition yet?
49:49You know what? I don't want to kill it.
49:51I'll bring it in every now and then. No, we don't want that every time.
49:56This is from The Red Dragon. $200 budget auction league.
49:59You're allowed to trade players this year for auction money in the following year.
50:03For example, last year, someone traded Jackson Smith and Jigma for $40 in auction money because he was out of contention.
50:10At this year's draft, the commissioner forgot to adjust the budgets and nobody realized until the online draft started.
50:16It was the night before the first NFL game so the draft couldn't be rescheduled.
50:21We drafted with everyone having the same $200 budget and the guy who traded JSN for $40 extra got completely screwed.
50:27What should be done to compensate the guy who got screwed?
50:31And please feel free to roast the commissioner as much as possible in your response.
50:35All right. So the commissioner's a dumbass. Yeah, worse.
50:38I know bad commissioners. That's bad. The $40 just carries over to next year and a 10% increase.
50:44So commissioner tax, you get a 10% bonus. So it's 50 bucks for next year.
50:48That's a whole. I mean... Inflation. I don't know.
50:51And I'm sorry. I'll rephrase it. The $40 carries over.
50:54He loses $10 off his $200 budget, the commissioner, for anybody else that he screwed over.
50:59Does it go to the JSN? So if there's three people that got screwed over because of this move, he loses $30,
51:0610 to each person that he screwed over. All right.
51:09There's only one thing I don't agree with. I don't agree with giving the guys the extra $10.
51:15I think make the commissioner lose it, but now it's too much of an advantage for the guy who traded JSN.
51:21That's fine. Yeah. But I mean, you did ruin their experience this year.
51:25Yeah. So you should enhance it somehow. Maybe it's not 10.
51:29I don't know how to beat this because Dan in the chat suggests waive his entry fee for this year.
51:35That's fair. And I like that idea almost more than like ruining next year with the $40 to 50, but that impacts
51:42everyone in the league and they don't deserve to get hit.
51:45It's really just the commissioner who deserves to get hit.
51:49So that's fine. So take the money off the commissioner and don't give it to anybody else.
51:54I almost feel like the commissioner has to pay for this guy's behind him.
51:58Like, I don't know. He did such a bad job.
52:01As a commissioner who has made some mistakes before, I'm not really punishing the commissioner.
52:06I will publicly call him out and call him a loser or whatever.
52:10It just tongue in cheek. A loser? No one said that.
52:13Well, I'm saying it. He's a loser. He's a big loser.
52:17He has no friends. Everyone in the league hates him.
52:20Wow. No, I'm just kidding. But no, seriously, like we make mistakes.
52:24People make mistakes. I don't think it's necessary. All right, so then just make it a small penalty.
52:29Dollar per infraction that he's screwed. I mean, it ruins the entire year for this guy.
52:34It's a league ruiner. Yes, it is. It's a league ruiner.
52:38He just lost $40 out of $200. That's so much of your budget.
52:42You can't come back. Give him more fab. Give him more fab if that's what you want.
52:47Fab? What's fab going to do? Give him fab.
52:50Give him JSA back. Oh, fab Braylon Allen. Now I can get him.
52:54What the heck? How about this? If there's an injured running back, you're going to say no.
52:59He carries over to next year. He gets $40.
53:02Now this is even more subjective. The first injured running back, you get his hand cut.
53:07No, he gets to choose if there's someone on waivers that he really wants.
53:11He gets to get him for free. This is horrible.
53:15He can hold on to that. This is freaking horrible.
53:18He gets his $40 back. He gets his $40 applied to the 2027 draft.
53:22And the commissioner has to have some sort of tax, whether it's a dollar off his budget or $5 or $10, whatever it is.
53:30He has to be penalized as well. Great call here from Chris.
53:33Why didn't the person who should have had the extra $40 not say anything before the draft?
53:39This isn't only on the commission. Well, from what it sounds like, he thought the commissioner had it handled.
53:45Right. If I went to a draft expecting to have $240 and I saw my budget said $200, I would have said something.
53:52But you didn't see it probably until you went into the draft.
53:55Well, based on how you read it, it sounded like the draft started.
53:59He's like, oh, shit, where's my $40? And doesn't have it.
54:03I mean, I guess that's kind of true. All right, that's the end of it.
54:08Let's get some Apple Podcast questions. Got the word in here.
54:11See, I heard it. I'm so disappointed. What happened?
54:14We'll have to worry about that later. Got a little editing to do, my friend.
54:18That's what happened. Oh, crap. Extra editing for you.
54:21Forget it. No, it's not for me. It's for Sam.
54:24Oh, that's not. It's not as fun. Now that I know it's Sam, it was more fun when you used to have to do it.
54:32All right, Parker Washington. That's right. Washington. Washington, yeah.
54:35Deer, Bandit, Bingo, Chili, and Muffin. No idea? Bluey.
54:38Bluey. Okay, of course I would have no idea of that.
54:41All right, just trade. He has Bowers. Just traded Jawan Johnson, Michael Mayer, and Emmett Johnson for Colston Loveland.
54:47Jawan Johnson, Michael Mayer. Oh, my God, that's amazing.
54:50It's an amazing trade, yeah. Plus, now you get to add Braylon Owen.
54:54I actually think it's an interesting like waiver wire golden gun where you, you know, waiver wire is totally normal, but then
55:01once a year, this person just gets to jump to the front of the line and get the guy that he wants.
55:08He has to decide when to use it. But what line?
55:11Like, so then most leagues are using FAB right now because that makes so much sense.
55:16Whatever, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what you use.
55:19does he have to use FAB or he just gets it for one dollar?
55:24Gets whoever he wants for free once a year.
55:26That's a terrible rule. It's a gimmick, you know?
55:29So wait. Why do we need gimmicks? I think we should explore this.
55:33So if you have that scenario, do you spend all your FAB early to know that you still have that?
55:40Yeah, I got my golden gun. Yeah. Well, not all your FAB.
55:43You're still going to need to pick up players, but you can certainly be more aggressive.
55:48But there could be a point in time where Braylon Allen's on the waiver wire, Ray Davis is on the waiver wire, and you've got your golden gun.
55:57Golden gun. Are we calling it a golden gun?
56:00If I put out a reference right here, will you get this, the golden goose?
56:04Golden goose. I know what a golden goose is, but what are you referencing?
56:09What if I say it in this voice? The golden goose.
56:12No. Your voice changes. The goose that lays the golden eggs.
56:16No, I don't know that. What is that? Clay Davis from The Wire.
56:20Oh, no. I'm not a wire guy. All right.
56:23This is a week one question. She. You know that one?
56:26Bro. That's Clay Davis. If you're going to mention Clay Davis, you have to do his line.
56:31Oh, you have to? Okay. You have to do his lines.
56:35Look at the chat. The chat knows. You have to do it.
56:38Oh, gosh. Okay. Chat. Speaking of chat, if you have any questions, let's do it.
56:43Bird and Ibuka or Parker Washington this week? Washington for me.
56:47Ibuka for me. If Nico Collins is out, Hutchinson, Wicks, or Andrews?
56:50I go Andrews, especially Flowers, though. Let's see if we got anything new.
56:54Yeah. I was thinking Wicks. I did kind of like the role for him.
56:59Even though it's like, oh, it was a little fluky.
57:02Not really. He was using it. Wow. We have an update.
57:05Sorry. Nico not expected to play. Oh, God. All right.
57:08Not that that's a surprise. Still don't love. He's not out, Frank, in the chat.
57:13He's not expected to play. Michael Pittman not seen during the start of practice.
57:17Who? Michael Pittman. Wow. Oh, wow. Golden Ticket is maybe a better word than Golden Gun.
57:22I don't know. Golden Goose. Non-PPR. Start two. Flowers.
57:25Tet. Well, you don't call him. He don't like Tet.
57:28Tetaro McMillan. Watson Waddle Neighbors. Yikes. Alec Pierce back at practice.
57:32Good. Okay. I'm going to start Flowers if he plays.
57:35The others to me are Neighbors Neighbors and McMillan.
57:38Neighbors and Watson. Neighbors and Watson for me. Yeah.
57:41Non-PPR. Oh, non-PPR? I wouldn't bench Neighbors at any point from this point on.
57:45Yeah, I would say it's Neighbors, Watson, Flowers if he plays.
57:48Neighbors, Watson, McMillan, if Flowers up. Okay. Coker or Odunze?
57:51Coker. Yeah, Coker for sure there. Traded Rice and Loveland for Kincaid and Neighbors.
57:56Love that trade. Love, love, love that trade. Rice and Loveland for Kincaid and Neighbors.
58:00That's a huge one. I would have been a horrible trade on draft day.
58:05So are we overreacting here? According to who? Oh, according to average draft position where Rice and Neighbors were basically back to
58:12back and Loveland was eight rounds ahead of Dawson and Kincaid.
58:15To his ADP, yeah. So I don't know that this is a great trade.
58:19I mean, are we buying, how much are we buying Dawson Kincaid?
58:23He could be tight end too. I saw a stat Jacob put up last night and it was, let me quote this
58:30because it's a great stat and people will be interested in it.
58:34Let me get the actual stat but as I do that, I'll filibuster this by saying Rice is probably the player, not
58:41that I have him rostered in a single league and I have 27 leagues, but Rice is probably the player I'm most nervous will actually not be good.
58:49But this season, like everything looked bad but I actually have the stat now.
58:54Dalton Kincaid has 225 receiving yards through two games, the second most of any tight end through two weeks dating back to
59:012000 and he also had a stat earlier about the people who have actually done this.
59:06Players with 200 plus routes who average more yards per hour run than Kincaid last season was just Puka and JSN.
59:12It's basically, if this guy is healthy, he's amazing.
59:15He could straight up be better than Colston Lovell in the rest of the season and then Neighbors over Rice is just
59:22the most easy win you can find, in my mind.
59:25I mean, I get it. I just, are we ignoring his yards per out run in the first two seasons of his career?
59:32Because last year was his best yards per out run and he had like 40 targets or something like that.
59:38So, I pretty much buy into him because he was hurt though.
59:42Maybe, but yeah, I mean, probably. And the other thing is like his snap share was way down.
59:48It was 77% in week one. Dalton Gade, I didn't see what last night's was, but that was the most, that would
59:55have been the most from last season, I believe.
59:57Last night was about 72%, I think. Yeah, now that he's over the 70% mark, like he's locked in.
60:03And the neighbors are rice thing. I mean, rice, who knows what's going to happen there, but I think he could be the biggest bust in all fantasy.
60:12That's what I was saying. Looked hard. You were saying that.
60:15I know, I listened to the show with a panic meter and it seems like Keith was not worried about him, which is understandable.
60:23I do not think he will be just fine.
60:26He'll be better than he was this week because obviously he lucked and fluked into a touchdown that was just poor tackling.
60:33But the route depth, the target depth was up.
60:35The, the way he's being used is not good at all.
60:39So far. They'll pass. So far, right. And the Chiefs passing game just looked off.
60:44So that's understandable with Mahomes coming back. But Rice is not, like if Rice isn't getting those, the role he had last year, he's not good for fantasy.
60:52Okay. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's concerned here.
60:56Josh Downs or Caleb Douglas? Downs. Douglas. If Pierce doesn't play.
60:59Pierce is going to play. He's backpacked. Okay. He needs, especially given the comment, need the upside.
61:04That's one tier question of the previous show, Adam.
61:07Douglas versus Downs, I would take the upside of Douglas.
61:10I'm chasing. Douglas looks so good, by the way.
61:13Did you watch, either of you watched that from the tape on him?
61:17He looked freaking really good at separating. Yeah, but you know who else did?
61:22Josh Downs did. Yeah, Josh Downs always looks good, but that offense is going to be horrible against the Chiefs.
61:28Would you drop Tony Pollard or Bo Nix? I have Trevor Lawrence for Kalon Black, Chris Bell, or similar upside essentials.
61:34If you have Trevor Lawrence, there's no point to having Nix.
61:38I see the waivers and I want to Kalon Black.
61:41Drop Nix for him. Lad McConkey. sit one. Rice, Lad, Lad's probably not going to play, but assuming he does play, sit Rice, Lad, Ramondre, or Parker Washington?
61:50I'll sit Rice. I would sit Ramondre in half PPR if Lad plays.
61:54Dak or Daniels? Dak for me. Yeah, Dak. Can we hear Dan's wedding speech?
61:58I'm not giving a speech at his wedding. I have given a lot of speeches at weddings though.
62:04Price or Scadaboo? Price or Scadaboo? I'd go Scadaboo.
62:06Yeah, you got to go Scadaboo there. Bird and her neighbors.
62:10Neighbors. Neighbors. Yeah, that picture's great. I hate that picture.
62:13I wish it was scrubbed from the internet. Aaron Jones or Tony Pollard?
62:17Aaron Jones. Aaron Jones. Dalton Schultz or Juwan Johnson?
62:20Schultz. Yeah, Schultz, I guess. Would you drop Alec Pierce for Marvin Harrison Jr.?
62:24No. Um, no. Would you rather start Purdy or Caleb Williams?
62:28Caleb. Purdy for me. Last one, Chris Godwin or Jalen Coker?
62:31Godwin. Coker. Last one, Burden or Evans, non-PPR? Evans.
62:34Evans. Last one, Saquon and Hampton or McCaffrey and Tootin?
62:37Rest of season. Saquon and Hampton for me. Yeah.
62:40All right. Thank you guys very much. Have a great weekend.
62:43What's your best line at one of your wedding speeches?
62:46Good question. I've made two wedding speeches. Both went over pretty well.
62:50So I made one for my friend, Mike, who's actually here this weekend.
62:54It was one of, I was technically not the best man, but his brother didn't want to give a speech, whatever.
63:01Then one for my brother, which is probably has the best lines.
63:04I think my brother married, someone with the last name Mulligan.
63:08So I had a good Mulligan joke in there.
63:11I'm trying to remember it now. Say flowers practicing, by the way.
63:14That one got a lot of laughs. Practicing? Yep.
63:17Oh, good. Maybe you'll play. What was your Mulligan joke?
63:20I'm trying, it was about a recommendation Cara gave us when me and my brother went on a trip to Austin where
63:27she lived and it was something like everybody gets a Mulligan type of thing.
63:32Recommendation sucked. It was like for a really bad reaction.
63:35She liked it, but we hated it. That's awesome.
63:37I gave a speech for my best friend and he just happens to really like stupid Bravo reality TV shows.
63:44And I won't say his name, I guess, but I'll just make up a name.
63:48I'll call him Dan. I'll be like, you know, everybody's been praising Dan all week, saying all these great things about him,
63:55but I figure like, let's say like the most embarrassing thing, I don't remember.
64:00I was like, Dan watches more Bravo TV shows than Andy Cohen.
64:03It brought the house down. And then I went to this whole thing about how when they get back from their honeymoon,
64:10they're going to be watching the real housewives of Tulsa, Oklahoma, season six, whatever, like whatever.
64:15It's always good when you have a theme. Yeah, you need a theme.
64:19I wanted to share one thing before I left.
64:22Check this out. If you're in the FFT open and you go to your homepage on the website, not on the app, on top it says tournament.
64:30Okay, click on that and you can see the high scores.
64:34You can see all the scores for the week.
64:37I'll work on, we'll work on trying to get this so it's that full season long standings.
64:42But right now, like one guy has 87 fantasy points in Thomas's division.
64:46So you can see how you stack up with everyone in the FFT open across all 36 divisions.
64:52Let's see where all three of us are at after week one.
64:55Well, no, this is only week two. This is only Thursday.
64:59So like, I'll work on getting this to be season long, but what's my team name?
65:04Business ethics. I had 35 points. Okay. That's Jared Goff and DJ Moore.
65:08Yeah. Well, yeah. Anyway, it's a cool feature if you want to see the high scores.
65:13It'll be really cool. This is mostly created for the playoffs when everyone's in different leagues and you can't see the scores.
65:20We created this for that very reason, but we'll see if we can get it to show the season long standings and scores.
65:27Thank you, everybody. Have a great day. Have a great weekend.
65:30We'll talk to you on Sunday morning, 11 a.m.
65:33Eastern for a game of the week. See you then.
65:36Let's talk about Viore clothing. I love these clothes.
65:39I love the versatility. That's what really stands out.
65:42When I went to the website, the first thing I saw was the tennis shop.
65:47So of course, I got some tennis shirts from Viore and they're great to play in, but also, I could just wear
65:53them around the house or out to lunch. Again, versatility.
65:57That's what you're going to get Viore clothes, whether it's shorts, shirts, hoodies, men's clothing, women's clothing, whatever.
