Brandon Aiyuk is not expected to matter for fantasy football due to his age and lack of production, as he is viewed as a potential bust.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeBust0:47

Chris Godwin's performance has declined, showing signs of aging and injury, making him a risky pick at his current ADP of 93rd overall.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeRole0:27

Chuba Hubbard's role is in jeopardy as he may not hold onto the lead rushing role if Jonathan Brooks stays healthy, and his efficiency metrics were concerning last season.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:29

Hubbard's value may hinge on his involvement in the passing game, as he could be a steal if he can secure around 40 catches.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:34

Chuba Hubbard went from being a top 15 running back in 2024 to being benched, indicating a significant decline in his role and production.

Insight page

Darnell Washington

PositiveDepth Chart0:07

Darnell Washington has been signed to a four-year extension, but he currently lacks fantasy value despite being an interesting player.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveInjury0:47

George Kittle is aiming to be ready for week one after a torn Achilles, which is a promising sign for his fantasy value this season.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveBreakout0:55

Isaiah Likely has the potential to break out this season, especially if Malik Neighbors is sidelined, making him a valuable mid to late round pick.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveRole0:40

James Cook's role in the Bills offense has significantly improved since Joe Brady became head coach, leading to increased involvement in both the passing and running game.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveValue0:32

Jared Goff is being undervalued as QB 15, despite leading all quarterbacks in passing touchdowns and yards since 2023, making him a strong late-round target.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:41

Jared Goff is currently ranked as QB 15 in ADP, suggesting he is being viewed as a mid-tier quarterback option.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeProjection0:20

Justin Jefferson is currently being drafted as the wide receiver six and 11th overall, but he had a disappointing year last season, ranking as the number 30 wide receiver per game in PPR and number 41 in non-PPR.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:20

Justin Jefferson is a prime candidate for positive regression after scoring only two touchdowns in 2025, a significant drop from his previous seasons where he averaged double-digit touchdowns.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:24

He is projected for around 100 catches and 1,300 yards, but concerns remain about his touchdown potential due to Kyler Murray's historically low touchdown rate.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

NegativeBust0:53

Kenneth Gainwell's ADP of 94th overall is concerning, especially with competition from Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker, making him a risky draft choice.

Insight page

Micah Parsons

NegativeInjury0:10

Micah Parsons is unlikely to return before October, which significantly impacts the performance of the Packers' defense.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveProjection0:40

Sam Laporta is currently being drafted as tight end 7, indicating strong expectations for his performance this season.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:41

Sam Laporta is currently being drafted as tight end 7 and is going 95th overall, indicating he is viewed as a valuable option at his position.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:41

With Drew Petsing as the new offensive coordinator, Sam Laporta is expected to see an increase in targets, potentially returning to his 2023 average of over seven targets per game.

Insight page
PositiveInjury0:46

There is some uncertainty regarding Sam Laporta's health as he is currently not participating and there is no clear timetable for his return.

1:16What a play! It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
1:19Off to the races! And he stays on his feet!
1:22He's just gonna go the distance! Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
1:27Our player outlooks continue. Talking Justin Jefferson today. He was the number 30 wide receiver per game in full PPR.
1:34Number 41 in non-PPR last year. Chuba Hubbard went from being a top 15 running back in 2024 to basically benched by Farrico Dattel.
1:41And then got his job back late in the year.
1:44Jared Goff, QB 15 right now in ADP. Sam Laporta, tight end 7.
1:48Almost outside of the top 100 right now in Fantasy Pros ADP.
1:52Sam Laporta is going 95th overall. Chris Godwin, Rashad White, Kenneth Gainwell, the new Rashad White, and Isaiah Likely.
1:58Those are the players we're gonna be talking about today.
2:01I'm Adam Azer with Heath Cummings. Hey, Heath! Hey, Adam!
2:04Hey! Hey, did you hate bandwagon Dan? Dan Wagon?
2:07I am Dan Wagening this bad boy. I wore this for you, Adam, because I knew you are a true Knicks fan.
2:14I'm not. I'm just someone who joins in for the fun during the playoffs, and that's okay, too.
2:20I don't have time for the NBA, in my mind at least.
2:23But I'm happy for you. You deserve this joy.
2:26I know how big of a fan you are.
2:29I'm in the Giants group chat with you and another co-worker.
2:32And I don't want to call him a co-worker, but somebody else that we know through work.
2:38And you guys talk more Knicks than Giants at times, so I'm happy for you.
2:42I am. Why wouldn't we talk more Knicks than Giants?
2:46Yeah, or they're a better team. They didn't win the championship last night, just to be clear.
2:51I've already gotten congratulations. Oh, it's over. Both of you.
2:54It's over. It's over. The last three teams to win game one on the road all lost.
2:59I know. That is the disappointing stat that's been circulating around today.
3:03But there are like 17 dozen other ones that are good in the Knicks' favor.
3:08You know what? You want to hear a crazy stat, and we'll move on to football.
3:13If the Knicks win the finals, I saw this on CBSSports.com article by our Brad Bakken.
3:18If the Knicks win the finals, they will be the biggest underdog ever to win the NBA finals.
3:23In terms of going into the NBA. Their odds to win going into the finals.
3:28Okay. Biggest underdog ever. And their odds to win going into the playoffs is like plus 2,200 or something crazy.
3:34Obviously, it's not that now. But I don't get it.
3:37What are people thinking? Have you watched the last 11 games?
3:41They're obviously good enough. Come on now. It's like the whole thing with the Patriots.
3:45They got scheduled out. People are just blaming the schedule.
3:49And then the Patriots made it all the way to the Super Bowl.
3:53So the schedule is the schedule. It is very similar.
3:56Biggest, worst odds at the beginning of the finals or at the beginning of the playoffs or at the beginning of the finals?
4:03Really? Okay. The finals doesn't make sense to me.
4:06I think they were just 2-1. That's the worst there's ever been.
4:10That's the way I am. There's never been a bigger underdog in 2-1.
4:14I think it was like plus 2,500. I'm going to send the article to Thomas.
4:18That one I think is fake news. But the rest of them I think is possible.
4:23I'm going to send the article to Thomas. I imagine 2-1 is the biggest we've ever seen.
4:29Maybe you could. It's a pretty big underdog. All right.
4:32Anyway. The headline is Nick's aiming to become the biggest underdogs to win the NBA finals.
4:37All right. There's never an injury to a major star player on a team headed to the finals.
4:42I feel like that had to happen at some point.
4:45Well, then they probably didn't win the championship, did they?
4:49They were probably like 3-1 dogs. I'm not saying they're the biggest underdog ever.
4:53I'm saying if they win, they'd be the biggest underdog to win.
4:57At the beginning of the series. To Dan's point, when LeBron was down 3-1 to the Warriors, he was a bigger underdog
5:04than the Knicks at the start of the series.
5:06I see. Okay. All right. Football. Here we go.
5:09This is a weird story. Brandon Iyuk posted a video of himself speeding past SoFi Stadium.
5:14No. Whatever. Levi's Stadium. Wherever they live in San Francisco.
5:17In December. And now there's a warrant issued for his arrest for driving like a madman.
5:22He was driving way too fast. Yeah. Just another weird note in this saga for Brandon Iyuk.
5:28This is what I've been trying to decide. Do we really think that he might matter for fantasy football again at some point?
5:35No. I do not. I think we're ever. He might be somebody because of his name that people add for a period
5:42of time, but I don't think he's going to matter as far as production and scoring goes.
5:47He's a 28-year-old wide receiver who did not play last year, but.
5:51Also did not rehab his injury with the team last year.
5:54Yeah. Right. Did his own rehab. I mean, he'll probably get some kind of workout to start from teams.
6:00I think I heard something to where if like, if the 49ers can't trade him and he's not going to show up,
6:07it actually works better for them to just keep him and put him on the exempt list and get all of his salary.
6:14He got back. Interesting. Which you know they would do.
6:17Then he misses another year. I don't know. I have him on rostered in your dynasty league.
6:23Heath. I don't know what to do about that.
6:25I thought it was a smart pick draft in the redraft.
6:29He was injured at the time, but that's a mess.
6:32I think I might just cut him. Should have done that before the draft.
6:36Yeah. I knew that was going to come off at him.
6:40And I missed it. Where's my. You told me you weren't going to bring that up ever again, Adam.
6:46You promised me. I was trying not to promise.
6:48You promised me this time while it's up there to apologize.
6:52So Dan, you're coming on FFT dynasty. On CBS Sports Network.
6:55And I'm excited to talk dynasty with you. I can't wait.
6:59It's going to be great. I've already got the rundown built out, but like we're going to have to talk about that.
7:06Okay. We can do it. At least for a second.
7:09It is you. Yeah. Okay. It's annoying when Adam keeps bringing it up when he knows he's leaving.
7:14He's leading me into a, into a meltdown. And I didn't need to apologize because I saw so much hate from the last time I was on FFC.
7:23I apologize. Look, the bottom line is. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
7:27I made a mistake. For the person who keeps saying, don't bring it up.
7:32I don't want to bring it up. Don't bring it up.
7:35You're bringing it up now. No, I need to finalize this thing right now and say, I do apologize.
7:41I wasn't the wrong. Net, net. I wasn't the wrong.
7:44While I don't agree with the rule. I still wasn't the wrong.
7:48I have to respect the rule. We established that.
7:51I have to respect the rule. All right. Romo Dunze.
7:54Romo Dunze. He's on social media. He said that the way his foot broke last year created a different type of foot
8:01structure with the bones in his foot. And that's, that's his new normal.
8:05And he felt like he'd still be able to make plays.
8:08But he basically said his foot is, is never going to be the same structurally.
8:13I don't know what to make of this, Dan.
8:16I'm not a doctor. So I feel like I shouldn't have pined too much on this.
8:21And I've never had this kind of injury. I see a lot of people on Twitter, like, um, fantasy fantasy analysts saying,
8:27like, I've had one of these injuries. It did never heal properly.
8:31They're giving their own anecdotal evidence, which may be applicable, but probably isn't because they're not professional athletes either.
8:37And I think there's a possibility. This could be a big nothing, but I can guarantee you, as we look through the
8:44next two months of drafting, that ADP is going to sink.
8:47It may not sink a lot, but it's going to sink to some degree with this kind of comment.
8:53Um, we'll just going to have to wait and see.
8:57Like, I think we track it through camp. We see how he's moving in camp.
9:01We see how he's feeling. We see if he's taking days off and missing time in camp for soreness or whatever it may be.
9:09And if none of that's happening, I'm pretty much going to treat this as a nothing burger.
9:14I think he's one of the more difficult with, without this easy one, one of the more difficult wide receivers to evaluate and value.
9:22Um, just an incredible month and a whole lot of disappointment on both sides of that.
9:27Yep. Yep. That's right. I could definitely see him continue to be, and we talked about this with Marvin Harrison Jr.
9:33Yesterday. This is Marvin Harrison Jr.'s role with Arizona so far.
9:37He's been the end zone guy. I could see Odunze continue to make his bacon, you know, with touchdowns.
9:42But yeah, it's definitely something we have to keep an eye on.
9:46Right now his ADP is 56th overall. If you were drafting today, Heath, where do you think you'd take Romo Odunze?
9:5356. So I don't think based on this news, I'm probably going to lower him, but I had burden 10 spots ahead of him.
10:00So I, I've got him 66th in my rankings round six pick 10 wide receivers ahead of him.
10:06Yeah. Okay. Uh, Micah Parsons unlikely to return before October and the Packers allowed 20.1 points per game in 14 games with Parsons.
10:13That was eighth best 26.3 points per game in three games without him.
10:17That was basically eighth worst. Um, and, and, and one of those was a week 18 game where they sat their starters,
10:24but only gave up 16 points to horrible Minnesota team.
10:27And then in a playoff game against the bears, they have 31 points.
10:31So their defense was definitely worse without him. Uh, and you know, Jordan love didn't really play it in those games except
10:38for the playoff game, but he threw a Jordan love through what?
10:4246 passes in that playoff game. So my point, I always talk about how the Packers are so run heavy, right?
10:48They don't have Parsons. You know, they might throw more.
10:51Unfortunately, here are their first four games at Minnesota.
10:54Unfortunately for Jordan loves, he may not have to throw much at Minnesota at the jets, Atlanta and at Tampa Bay.
11:01Um, okay. Next news item. These Steelers signed a tight end Darnell Washington to a four-year $42 million extension with $21 million guaranteed.
11:08I don't think he has any fantasy value, but he's an interesting player.
11:12I think he was one of the, I just wrote the team outlook.
11:16Um, he's one of the top, uh, tight ends in, in yard yards per route run.
11:21Uh, it just doesn't get targeted that much, but he, he runs, he literally just runs people over.
11:27It's pretty incredible to watch this six foot seven guy.
11:30I hope to get him the ball more. Uh, Trent Williams left tackle for the 49ers could be playing his last season.
11:37He signed a two-year extension, but he admitted he doesn't know how much longer his career is going to be.
11:43And George Kittle, Dan, George Kittle says he could be ready for week one.
11:47Yeah. Tore his Achilles. Apparently it was in terms of torn Achilles.
11:51It was, uh, you know, one that wasn't so bad in terms of the healing process.
11:56So he's, he's trying to get back for week one.
11:59They've already mentioned the fact that week one is in Australia, which is a long flight.
12:04So maybe he can't. No way. Yeah. But yeah.
12:07Encouraging, you know, where, where do you, where do you think his value should be?
12:12George Kittle. Well, we've seen a lot of these like recent lightning fast recoveries from Achilles.
12:17Daniel Jones is practicing already at Colts OTAs. I feel like he tours Achilles four months ago or something in that range.
12:24It was really recent. Um, Aaron Rogers obviously made his comeback despite being 38 years old, pretty fast off the Achilles.
12:30So at this point, it's just not the injury it used to be.
12:34Like, I remember when you used to get the Achilles, they're like, Oh, we ever have that same quick twitch, whatever the
12:41advancements have been made in met from a medical standpoint.
12:44I feel like these athletes have come back pretty strong from it.
12:48So I'm going to treat him as if he's playing like he should be in that tight end one conversation really outside
12:55of for me, at least outside of McBride and Bowers.
12:58I don't know who else I would put above him.
13:01I guess you can think about Laporta with Petsig.
13:04We'll talk about that a little bit later. I'm excited about that.
13:08Um, obviously Colston Loveland has like the upside from just being potentially one of the best, if not the best tight ends
13:15in the NFL, but from a role standpoint, from what we've seen already with Kittle, from the rapport with Purdy, he's definitely in that mix.
13:22If he's playing. Yeah. I'm going to be a lot, a lot more skeptical partially because well, partially because of the age,
13:29partially because he had a career low 4.4 yards after catch per reception last year.
13:34That's been his bread and butter is running after the catch.
13:37And I think he might, maybe he's healthy enough to play week one.
13:41Doesn't necessarily mean he's as explosive as he was.
13:44Um, at what he'll be 33 in October. Um, and then the other thing is he was really elevated by touchdowns last
13:51year and a couple of times like 2022 where the targets just aren't there, but he still scores a lot of touchdowns.
13:58And I'm afraid that Mike Evans takes a few of those.
14:01Good point. Sure. Yeah. It's a stronger case for me, especially because we look at just something that popped in my mind
14:08when he'd made that comment or made that note when it fell off for Kelsey as a fantasy, like number one tight end.
14:15And it started with, I feel like the yards after the catch going way down.
14:20Obviously he was never at the level of Kittle to begin with, but like it started like that.
14:26And I feel like that might be the sign of a decline.
14:29So, right. But actually that's funny because this came up yesterday because Kelsey did have a major drop in yards after catch.
14:36Um, but, uh, he got better last year. It rebounded to 5.6.
14:40Well, I think it was in the threes the year before that.
14:44So, um, you know, that, that can bounce back if a guy's in his prime and he has a bad yak year,
14:51that's actually a stat that I've found to be fairly predictable to bounce back.
14:55But yeah, when a guy's 30 about to be 33, as he's mentioned coming off a torn Achilles, I think we can be less certain about that.
15:03But I would say if he's ready for week two, let's say he's not going to make the trip to Australia, but he's going to play week two.
15:12Would you take Sam Laporta or George Kittle? It's Laporta for me.
15:16Laporta. I'm very high on Laporta this year. All right.
15:19Those are your news and notes. Um, we've got that FFT dynasty episode on CBS sports HQ tomorrow.
15:25What time is that Heath? CBS sports network. Um, that is 1 PM Eastern, 1 PM Eastern on CBS sports network.
15:31So make sure you look at that beyond the box score podcast.
15:35Got its own YouTube channel. Search beyond the box score.
15:38Obviously has its own audio feed. Great information there.
15:41We'll get our NFC player outlooks when we come back.
15:44And also people want to know, because I said, uh, he makes it, he'll make his bacon with the end zone.
15:51People want to know if I eat bacon. It's a great question.
15:54That is a great question. It might surprise you when we come back on fantasy football today.
16:00Why have I asked my HVAC guy? I found on Angie.com to change my grandpa's trachea tube because I was so amazed
16:07by how quickly he replaced our air ducts. I knew I could trust him to change pop-pop's tube while I was on vacation.
16:14Make it quick young man. Ah, see pop-pop trusts you.
16:17Uh, I think we should call a doctor. Connecting homeowners with skilled pros for over 30 years.
16:22Angie, the one you trust to find the ones you trust.

16:28I'm Draymond Green, host of the Draymond Green Show.
16:31I'm always looking for anything that actually helps with performance and recovery without turning into a complicated routine of powders and supplements.
16:38That's why Kayaks caught my attention. This is a ready-to-drink creatine booster that's engineered to work the way creatine is supposed to.
16:45It's Swiss engineered, sugar-free, and it even won a Global Innovation Award this year.
16:49The reason it's different is because most creatine drinks lose effectiveness sitting on shelves.
16:54Kayaks solve that with this really smart V-cap design.
16:57The creatine stays sealed separately inside the cap until you open the bottle.
17:01So when you press it and drink it, you're getting the full, fresh clinical dose right then and there.
17:07And it goes beyond creatine. You've got essential amino acids for muscle support, citrulline for endurance and blood flow, caffeine for focus,
17:13plus betaine, electrolytes, and plant extracts to help with hydration and recovery too.
17:17It's one of the few performance products I've heard about lately that genuinely feels innovative.

18:16Service is not available in all areas. Dan, I want you to guess also.
18:21I'm going to give my guess first of what Adam's answer is going to be.
18:26Yeah. Then you can give yours. When I saw the bacon talk in the chat, I thought people had cameras in my
18:32house because I had a delicious bacon sandwich and the bread were egg holes.
18:37So, they had to cut the whole lot of the bread and cook the egg in the bread.
18:42Oh, yeah. And then bacon in between was delicious.
18:45But anyway, I think Adam's answer is yes, I eat bacon.
18:49Turkey bacon. Oh, nasty. Nasty work right there. Like, is the question, would you eat bacon and have you eaten bacon on
18:56occasion or do you regularly eat it? I don't know.
18:59I mean, it's not that. It's a big difference for me.
19:02Do I regularly eat? I don't. Not regularly. But will you.
19:06Is it like I've had it before and I'm not against it?
19:09Or like is bacon something you seek? Like a bacon, egg, and cheese, whatever it may be.
19:15What do you think my relationship with bacon is?
19:17I think you've had it and you're not against it and you're not like there's no reason to not have it.
19:24But I think based on the things I've seen and observed from you when we went out to dinner, I don't think
19:31you're eating any bacon because like when we went out to dinner, you had like steamed rice, chicken, dry chicken breast boiled.
19:38And like that was it, dude. And some broccoli like you did hold the sauce.
19:42Like, I don't know. I just don't think you use.
19:46You know, you're like 70 percent accurate. I got a chicken teriyaki bowl, which is not how it was like it's fine.
19:52But it was so good. Bacon is terrific. But I usually do not eat it because I eat enough unhealthy stuff.
19:59You don't eat anything unhealthy, dude. Yeah, I do.
20:02I had a chicken parm pasta dish last night for dinner and a burrito for lunch.
20:07That's great. That sounds like a great day. Sounds a great day of eating.
20:11I'm not going to lie. Yeah. So I eat plenty of bacon is where I kind of try to draw the line.
20:18Okay. But it's delicious. I love bacon. Yeah, it's great.
20:21All right. Let's talk about Justin Jefferson outlook by Dan Schneier right now on fantasy pros.
20:26He's wide receiver six. He's going 11th overall. Jefferson's being drafted just after CeeDee Lamb, just before James Cook coming off a
20:33year where he was the number 30 wide receiver per game in PPR, number 41 per game in non-PPR.
20:39The year before that, he was, I believe, sixth per game, but very, very close to being second or third per game
20:46is a big log jam up top for Justin Jefferson.
20:49What did you kind of discover as you did your outlook on Jefferson?
20:53Yeah. So what I thought was the most interesting about Jefferson is if we look at it right now, he's being drafted inside the top 12 receivers.
21:01He's, I think he's either the fifth or sixth receiver off the board, depending on where you're going.
21:07So the expectation is that he's going to bounce back.
21:10And I feel like he very clearly is probably the biggest positive regression candidate in fantasy football because scored just two touchdowns
21:17in 2025, hit double digit touchdowns in two of the four previous seasons.
21:21And he never dipped below five before the 2025 season.
21:24So the reality is it seems highly unlikely to me that he's going to be anything, but in that potentially double digit touchdown range.
21:32Obviously we have to assume that there's going to be a big jump in quarterback play, but the reality is he's going
21:39to get a jump just alone from the fact that Max Brosmer will not be starting games.
21:44Like Max Brosmer played games last year for the Vikings.
21:47And in those games, there was no drop back offense to be had.
21:51So regardless of if it's McCarthy in year two, which I don't think it's going to be or Kyler Murray, which I
21:58think it will be all the faults that Kyler has.
22:01There are things and aspects of playing quarterback that he still gives in my mind, a major advantage to the Vikings versus
22:08what they had all throughout last season, including the stint with Carson Wentz, um, which during the time with Carson Wentz, Jordan
22:15Addison benefited even more than Justin Jefferson and Addison average 77 yards per game during that time.
22:20So I think Kyler comes in leans on Justin Jefferson as the number one receiver.
22:25And there's other stats that really lead me to believe he's in line for positive regression.
22:30He averaged almost 15 yards per catch over his career.
22:33Never dip below the 14.1 yards per catch mark last year is at 12.5 yards per catch.
22:38Again, just really bad quarterback play that held him down throughout the entire season.
22:43I still believe from watching him on tape for beyond the box score and all the work we've done, still one of
22:49the best route runners in the league. Still absolutely like ability is release off the line of scrimmages and his ability to
22:56create separation early in the route might be the best in the NFL.
23:00There's verticality to his game that just wasn't realized last year with the quarterback play.
23:05So I think more explosive plays, more deep opportunities and just more red zone trips in general for the Vikings offense.
23:12I'm counting on it and may be wrong about Kyler, but I really don't believe that he's this quarterback.
23:18A lot of people have painted him to be.
23:20I think he's a super big upgrade over what they had last year.
23:24There's no debate that he's a super big upgrade over what he had last year.
23:29But I'm just going to read you the Vikings passing stats in all of Justin Jefferson's seasons.
23:34Yeah. The first year was a 16 game season, 4,265 yards, 35 touchdowns.
23:38Kyler's never done that. Next year, 4,450, 34 touchdowns.
23:41Kyler's never done that. Next year, 4,818 yards, 30 touchdowns.
23:44Kyler's never done that. Next year, 4,700 yards. That's amazing.
23:4830 touchdowns. Kyler's never done that. Two massive years in a row there.
23:522024, 4,300. What are you saying over there, Heath?
23:54Kyler's never done that. No. Kyler's never done anything really close to that except last year, obviously, 3,208 yards and 18 touchdowns.
24:01And then, Heath, it's like, well, are they throwing – is the yardage and the touchdown so good because of the quarterbacks and the system?
24:09Or is it just because of Justin Jefferson as it happens to be there?
24:13He's going to bounce back because he was 30th best.
24:17Where is he going to bounce back to? Is the one-two turn the right time for Jefferson?
24:22It's a little bit early for me. I agree with most of the stuff Dan said.
24:27I do think there's a bounce back coming. It's just the gap was so enormous.
24:32The four years before last year, his 17-game pace was 113 catches for 1,681 yards and nine touchdowns.
24:37So the gap between that and 84, 10, 48, and 2 is really huge.
24:42I think I've got him projected for right about 100 catches.
24:45I've got him projected for right around 1,300 yards.
24:48The thing that really concerns me is the touchdowns because Kyler's just never really been a high touchdown guy, 4.1% touchdown rate for his career.
24:56And a lot of that's because he just doesn't throw as much as the Vikings were in Jefferson's heyday because he's going
25:02to run it eight times a game. So I still like Jefferson as a top-12 wide receiver but not a top-12 pick.
25:09Okay. Yeah. Look, once upon a time, Kyler Murray was great for DeAndre Hopkins.
25:14Hopkins had been with him. But it just doesn't seem like that Kyler has been that player since tearing his ACL.
25:20But a change of scenery could certainly help. We've seen that happen in Minnesota for sure.
25:25All right. That's Justin Jefferson. He'll be in. Yeah.
25:28Just to kind of like the one great season.
25:31And he had a good half a season too.
25:34But the one great season that DeAndre Hopkins had with Kyler, it was 115 catches for 1,400 yards.
25:39But it was still six touchdowns. It was very PPR scammy for sure.
25:43Though I do feel... What did you say? No, no, no.
25:47Go ahead. Go ahead. I do feel like regardless from what I've seen from Kyler.
25:52And he's been in some interesting offenses. Like the Cliff offense is very run heavy.
25:56And it's very schematically... Like I'm not saying it holds Kyler back.
26:00But it doesn't maybe take advantage of his skill set to the highest level.
26:04There's still the opportunity that Kyler could be the best version of himself with Kevin O'Connell.
26:09We've seen this with Sam Darnold. We've seen this with pretty much every quarterback who's come through that system.
26:15With Carson Wentz even to some extent. At least this version of Carson Wentz.
26:20We know he can never be as productive as he was last year.
26:24The Vikings. Anywhere else. Obviously it didn't work out for McCarthy.
26:27But we've seen that version in Kevin O'Connell. We've seen a good version of every quarterback in Kevin O'Connell's offense.
26:33With the exception of J.J. McCarthy so far. And he could still take a jump potentially.
26:38And when I look at Jefferson, I feel like I'm making the same mistake I made two years ago.
26:44If I just pass on him. Because two years ago, I said, I don't like Sam Darnold.
26:50I don't believe in Darnold. And I'm going to pass on Jefferson because of it.
26:54I did the same thing last year with McCarthy.
26:57But at least in Kyler's case, I've seen Kyler throw a football with some kind of accuracy and ball placement and velocity and arm talent.
27:05With McCarthy, I feel like there was just nothing there from a quarterback standpoint.
27:09From a passing standpoint. I still believe that Kyler has something in him.
27:13There's really a lot here. Because the Vikings have been more run heavy the last two years as their defense has gotten even better.
27:21They signed Jawan Jennings. T.J. Hawkinson had a 15% target per outrun rate last year.
27:26I don't know what that was all about. To get more targets.
27:29There's a lot of air with Jefferson. So, I'll just ask you one thing.
27:34Justin Jefferson or Drake London? London. Jefferson for me.
27:36All right. Next outlook is Chuba Hubbard for Heath Cummings here.
27:40He's going 68th overall on Fantasy Pros. Chuba Hubbard is RB27.
27:43This is TBR ADP. In between Bejal Tootin and Jalen Warren, what do you want to say about Chuba Hubbard?
27:50I just came away from writing his outlook very, very concerned.
27:53That if Jonathan Brooks can stay healthy, there's Chuba Hubbard's not holding on to a lead rushing role.
27:59Now, maybe he bounces back as a rusher. But he, like, this was always a guy that we weren't really as sure
28:06as some of his best numbers looked. He was as good as some of his best numbers looked.
28:11Last year, he was 51st out of 52 players with 100 rush attempts and avoided tackle rate.
28:169.7%. He was also bottom five in yards after contact per rush attempt.
28:20Fell a half a yard from 2024. Some of that could have been health because he was a little more efficient early in the year.
28:28But I just, I kind of view him as this guy that if he's, if he holds on to the job, he's probably a low-end RB2.
28:36And if Jonathan Brooks is healthy, I don't think he's going to hold on to the job.
28:42I have pretty low expectations for Jonathan Brooks, though.
28:45I don't, yeah, I mean, maybe, maybe so. Based on what, Adam?
28:48Just the injury situation? Yeah. I mean, he's coming off two torn ACLs, right?
28:53Yes. And this is not a proven back. This is a guy who really had very little feature work in college.
28:59More of a projection. So, I don't know. I just, I don't even know what kind of player Jonathan Brooks is.
29:06We've seen zero of him, basically, at the NFL level.
29:09So, for him to come off two ACL injuries and come back, I don't know.
29:14I struggle with Chuba Hubbard. I think it's going to come down to how much they use him in the passing game.
29:20I don't think he's going to be amazing as a rusher or anything, but can he get 40 catches or something like that?
29:28Because if he does, then he's probably going to be a steal in round six or so.
29:33Well, I think the one thought I have on this backfield is when they, this offense took a jump last year to
29:40an extent that it could with Bryce Young as quarterback.
29:43It was because it went run heavy and it was because it committed to the run game.
29:48The run scheme diversified. And quite frankly, they were getting really good blocking from the interior of that offensive line.
29:54All three of those things came together. When we look forward to this year, I don't want to miss out completely on
30:01a run game that I think could probably pop again, to be honest, because I don't really know how you design this
30:08offense in any other way with Bryce Young at quarterback.
30:11That's partially why I'm very nervous about players like Tadro McMillan and the receivers on that offense.
30:17Just that's another story for another day. So if I believe in the run game and I believe that's how they're going
30:24to look to generate offense and their defense is taking enough of a step forward, as we saw at the end of
30:30the season, to keep them in these game scripts.
30:33I have to buy into one of these two players.
30:36I think my early lean is with Brooks, though, because of the stats that he talked about.
30:42I think that Chuba Hubbard has kind of been trending downward and Brooks is a projection.
30:47He's purely a projection, but he looks pretty fast so far from what I've seen.
30:51And I love this tape. I have to go with it.
30:55I have to still view him as the prospect that he was because there's been so many players have come back from ACLs before.
31:02And I did see one of the injury doctors.
31:05I don't remember which one. I apologize. I always do this on Twitter talking about how the fact that they kind of
31:12used a different procedure on the second ACL. And the fact that he's had 18 months to recover from that gave them
31:19hope that he would be what he was before.
31:22Now, that's still unproven. But also, Trevor Etienne is still there, too.
31:25I think it's going to be a committee approach, even if Jonathan Brooks can't stay healthy.
31:30Okay. Well, last year I was avoiding Hubbard because I kind of felt like Panthers never really wanted to commit to him.
31:37It just kind of seemed that way. They drafted Brooks, then they signed out, even though they gave up the contract.
31:44But now it just depends how you feel about Jonathan Brooks because they didn't really address the position.
31:49So maybe they have a lot of faith in Jonathan Brooks.
31:53All right. That's definitely a storyline that we're going to have to follow as we track the health of a talented running
32:00back who hasn't had his chance yet. All right.
32:03Dan, you had both Goff and Sam Laporta? Yep.
32:05All right. So discuss those two guys. Jared Goff right now is QB 15 and ADP, going 103rd overall in between Brock Purdy and Bo Nix.
32:13This year, I mean, it might sound bad to be QB 15 and ADP, but no, it's a really deep position, and that's a good player.
32:22And then Laporta right now is tight end 7, but 95th overall on Fantasy Pros.
32:26That's a guy with his potential. That's pretty good.
32:29What do you think about Goff and Laporta? So we'll start with Goff.
32:33I think it's going to be another year, another fantasy year, another draft season where we just completely overlook Jared Goff as
32:40a fantasy community, which has been happening to a large extent, a much larger extent.
32:45I'm sure Heath can speak to in Dynasty. It's pretty insane and absurd how it's happened in Dynasty.
32:50But in redraft, it happens as well. Even though he is projected in the range who just went over at him, I
32:57won't be surprised to see him be QB 18, QB 19 like he was last year.
33:02He just fell and fell on all the auctions I played, and he fell and all the snakes he fell to.
33:09It felt like nobody wanted to draft Goff because there's this feeling around him that his ceiling may be capped or that he doesn't rush enough.
33:17So I really don't want to take him. I can take a higher upside quarterback, whoever that may be last year, this year.
33:24Players like Kyler might be in the mix over him.
33:27But the reality is since since 2023, do you know that Jared Goff has led all NFL quarterbacks with 101 basking TDs?
33:34Literally every quarterback in the NFL he has the most.
33:37He's also led all quarterbacks with 13,768 passing yards, the most passing yards per game at 270.
33:42The most 300-yard passing games is Jared Goff with 17.
33:46Explosive gains of 20 or more yards. Jared Goff with 196.
33:49Like we're talking about one of the most explosive passers in the NFL, one of the most consistent passers in the NFL
33:56from a yard standpoint, and the highest scoring touchdown passer in the NFL.
34:00What's the time? Was it the last three years?
34:03Since 2023, yeah. Okay, I'm just going to run his fantasy points and see where he ranks there.
34:08Sure. Because, you know, it's kind of interesting, right?
34:11I mean, he's been the most prolific passer in football over the last three years.
34:16Yes, he's ninth. Seems like he's always ninth. He's eighth.
34:19Good. Eight. Per game. And now that's where he is in my projections.
34:23What did you say? QB 15? Yeah, 15. Right now it's 16.
34:27It just feels like stealing almost in that sense.
34:30Unless you perceive that he's going to take this big drop off in his play, which doesn't seem likely to me.
34:36If he's going to take a big drop, if that offensive scheme is going to take it or that offense in general
34:43is going to take a big drop off. Doubt that because they lost Ben Johnson.
34:48I wrote this up in the outlook, but they lost Ben Johnson and he still put together his fourth straight 4,000 yard passing season without Ben Johnson there.
34:56I think Isaac Tesla takes a jump forward. They could potentially be even better at the skill spots.
35:02Also, in addition to that, Laporta will be healthier this year.
35:06And they added to the offensive line, an area that was still great last year, but took a smaller step back.
35:12But they're trying to rebuild that up to a certain level.
35:16So I really think there's just no risk in this profile.
35:19And he's just not being priced at the point he should be.
35:23Heath, you feel that way? 100%. He's being drafted at his floor.
35:26I think you had a note in there about how for the second year in a row, they threw a lot more
35:33in the second half of the season than they did in the first.
35:37But the first seven games when they weren't throwing as much, he was QB 14.
35:42Like if things go bad, he might only be worth what his current ADP is.
35:47Right. So, okay. Right. My concern with Goff and with Laporta, not so much St.
35:51Brown, is their defense two years in a row has been pretty good on paper and pretty good in general and then
35:58has fallen apart and they've had to throw a lot more.
36:02But we know Dan Campbell wants to be a running team now.
36:06They don't have Montgomery anymore. I don't think they're going to give Pacheco like 150 carries or anything.
36:11It's really a minor concern. Forget that. Just forget about the past attempts.
36:15Let me just say this. Yes, you're right that being drafted at QB 15 or 16 is the floor for Goff.
36:22However, he is going 108th overall. And I look at Matthew Golden, Jonathan Brooks.
36:26We can't do that. No, I do do that.
36:29Casey Concepcion. I don't know, Thomas, if you can scroll down and look at some other guys in the range.
36:35Kyle Pitts is in this range. Wandale Robinson, Ja'Cory Krosky, Merritt, George Kittle right now, Aaron Jones.
36:40I just wouldn't take Goff. Where he's going as a quarterback makes sense to me or it's a great value, but I
36:47still think it's too high in the draft. I'm not using my ninth round pick on Jared Goff.
36:53But we've all played in enough snakes, Adam, to know that this quarterback drafting is so dependent on your league.
36:59Okay, fine. Sure. I'm just saying I'm using a double-digit round pick on Jared.
37:04Because you can get similar players later. You're right.
37:06But you could say that about every quarterback. Isn't 108th literally the last pick of the single-digit rounds?
37:12I wouldn't take Goff in round 10. I'd take him in round 11 or later.
37:17I'm sorry, Thomas, if you could just search for QBs.
37:20Who's going after Goff? We've got Jordan Love. I wonder where Trevor Lawrence is going.
37:25He's probably ahead of him. Tyler Shuck, Baker Mayfield.
37:27So we're down to QB 19 now. Tyler Murray.
37:30Yeah. All right. Well, there aren't that many guys going after him that are safe.
37:35I would guess the five quarterbacks going before him, you wouldn't take in the single-digit rounds either.
37:40Bo Nix? Correct. You know what? If this is ADP, then I might have to change my mind.
37:46Because I actually don't want to go much lower than Goff, Kyler Murray.
37:50I don't want Jordan Love to be my starting quarterback.
37:53You won't have to worry about that in our leagues.
37:56Yeah. Because we will draft unlike the rest of the world.
38:00And then, but by ADP, it's like we just kind of have to talk about the quarterbacks, how they compare to the other quarterbacks.
38:07Right. I agree. But if there were really good fallback plans later in the draft, then that'd be one thing.
38:13But actually, I think I was wrong. I don't really think there aren't.
38:17I guess I'm finding myself with 17 quarterbacks that I draft as my QB1 with Goff and Kyler Murray on that list.
38:24I wouldn't take Jordan Love as my QB1. I wouldn't take him as a big upside.
38:29Yeah, maybe Baker, but I wouldn't be thrilled about it.
38:32We've talked a lot about Stafford lately. You'd rather have Goff than Stafford?
38:36Yeah, I would. Yeah, I would too. I'd rather have Purdy than both of them.
38:41How about you guys? Yes, but Purdy is being drafted much.
38:44Purdy and Goff, I think, are the two by far best values.
38:48Nice to see that. Is this PPR ADP or is this non-PPR ADP, by the way?
38:53I don't know. Because what I was looking at, he was going...
38:57Yeah, no, it's about the same. He's going 103rd.
39:00That's non-PPR ADP. Okay, that makes a little more sense, I guess.
39:04Okay, let's take a break and we'll finish up with Laporta Thoughts.
39:07And we have four more players after that. We'll be right back on Fantasy Football today.

40:46Okay, Sam Laporta being drafted as tight end seven right now.
40:49And I guess you guys are both seems like pretty high on Laporta, Dan.
40:54Yeah, so I think back to some of what led me in the direction of James Cook and George Pickens last year as my two, like, plant-plagged players.
41:03And one of the things that led me in James Cook's direction, and you could make a similar case for Pickens, was the scheme.
41:10I looked at his numbers pre and post. Why am I blanking on his name?
41:15Who's the head coach of the Bills right now?
41:18Joe Brady. Pre and post Joe Brady getting there.
41:20And it was like a totally different player. The offense had been designed around James Cook at running back, both in the passing game and the run game.
41:29Obviously, he came out at times because that was the type of player he was.
41:34But there was so much more involvement to get him the ball in ways that worked for him.
41:39I think the same thing is going to happen for Sam Laporta this year with Drew Petsing coming in as offensive coordinator.
41:46Oh, you don't have to look too much further than what happened in Arizona with Trey McBride.
41:52I mean, that offense, when you watch, you throw on the All-22 and you watch a full game of the Cardinals.
41:58The first read is the tight end so much more often than just about any, actually, literally any team you watch, besides
42:05like Bowers two years ago when the Raiders had nothing and they were just funneling targets to him.
42:11Like, that was an offense designed to get the tight end the ball.
42:15Yes, Wilson produced and Marvin Harrison at times produced.
42:17But the first read was most often Trey McBride.
42:20And I'm not saying the same thing is going to happen in Detroit.
42:24They have him on Ross St. Brown, but he's certainly going to get a lot more first read looks than he's had in a damn long time.
42:33Sam Laporta, maybe since that 2023 season when he was the tight end one overall Laporta, because that's what he was in 20 in 2023.
42:41It's been a while since then. The volumes come way down.
42:44I was looking at it. Laporta went from averaging over seven targets per game during that 2023 season to dipping below five
42:51per game in each of the last two seasons.
42:54I think that number gets right back up to seven, if not higher with Bettsen coming in.
42:59We'll see. I mean, it was there in 2023.
43:02I'm taking the under. Okay. His touchdowns. That's where we're going to see almost definite positive regression after he scored just three last season.
43:09And he's currently coming off the board just inside the top 100 picks.
43:13I think you said he's outside the top five tight ends.
43:17I think as far as upside goes at this tight end position, you can't find a player with a lot more upside
43:24that's being drafted outside the top five than Sam Laporta.
43:27I just don't see it that way because. With St.
43:30Brown has taken a step in terms of targets since that 2023 season.
43:34He's just the man now. And Jamison Williams just poses too much of a threat, you know, to the to the upside of Laporta, not to the floor.
43:43I just don't see him getting 100 something targets.
43:46Seven targets is 119 targets. I do not see that for Sam Laporta.
43:50He was on pace for 93 last year. So for me, I think the Jamison Williams has taken a leap in terms of targets since then.
43:58St. Brown, St. Brown, St. Brown is a real a real question mark.
44:02Like, just a year ago, he had 31 fewer targets.
44:05He had 141 in 2024, 172 in 2025. Maybe.
44:08I mean, maybe. Last year, he had a 30.4% target per outrun rate, a 31% target share.
44:13Maybe that doesn't continue. I don't know. But I just, I don't know.
44:17I can't, I know the coaching thing and all that, but like he's, Trey McBride wasn't playing with Amon Ross St.
44:24Brown or Jamison Williams, you know? So I, it's not how, like no one's saying Trey McBride's go or Sam Laporta is going to get 10 targets.
44:32Right. We're not saying it's McBride level numbers. They're like two tight ends that are going to average seven targets per game.
44:39I just don't. Kyle, Kyle Pitts and Sam Laporta.
44:42It's going to depend on your interpretation of what drew Petsing is as a offensive schemer and play caller and what he can be.
44:49Because if you believe he can totally rewrite like what we've seen from him and maybe that is the case.
44:55Maybe he just was like, oh, look, I got Trey McBride.
44:59He's a hall of famer. I got designed my whole offense around him.
45:03I don't think that's the case. He comes from like the Stefanski tree.
45:07Like, I think it's going to be tight end heavy.
45:10That's how they find some quick, easy solutions in this passing game.
45:14And so it's not even just quick solutions. Like a lot of the stuff McBride was like in the 10 to 15 yard range.
45:21These are like first down solutions that Petsing is drawing up for them.
45:25McBride. I said yesterday McBride led the position in screen pass targets.
45:29He had like 20. There's design stuff too as well.
45:32Right. We're going to get that at Laporta. We haven't gotten that.
45:36So it'd be crazy to do that when you have Amon Ross St.
45:40Brown on the field. But fair enough. We'll see.
45:43I don't, I think I don't buy into coaching stuff as much as you guys do.
45:48I think. Yeah. You might not. I'm not saying I'm right.
45:51Not saying I'm right. That's just the difference of opinion, I guess, with Laporta.
45:56I do, however, think if he goes 95th, that's fantastic.
45:59Right. Like who has upside in that range? I'm a little unclear about the back injury and how healthy he is.
46:05I would like a little clarity on that. That's fair.
46:09Because he's not, he's not playing yet. And they're like, there's no timetable for Sam Laporta.
46:14And I think it's worth noting too, like the eight games before he got hurt last year, he was on pace for 93 targets.
46:21Yeah. Yeah. So like getting over a hundred is not, wouldn't be a shock at all.
46:26No, but getting 119 would be a lot. Yeah.
46:29I mean, it's one, I guess it's, we're kind of picking it's, it's, it's one target per game.
46:34But that, but 93 to 119 is a huge jump.
46:38No, we've already established that he's probably going to be over a hundred.
46:42I don't know. I mean, I could see him being in the, I could see him being in the 90, 93 range again.
46:49The thing about that first half of the season was James and Williams was doing nothing then.
46:54Because Sam Laporta was healthy. You could say that, but couldn't you also see a scenario where Sam Laporta struggles because James
47:01and Williams have a really good season? James and Williams is a good player.
47:05This is that possibility exists. Yeah. Possible. It did before they hired Drew Petsy.
47:10Yeah. That's how I feel. Okay. Fair. Chris Godwin, Heath.
47:13You wrote about him. He's going 93rd overall as wide receiver 40 on fantasy pros.
47:18Chris Godwin is going in between Michael Wilson and Michael Pittman.
47:21And do you like Chris Godwin this year? You know, I, I don't really feel like, I think I got less confident
47:28in my take on Chris Godwin after looking further into him.
47:31Um, my mostly, I feel like he perfectly fits the mold of an older wide receiver who showed signs of decline.
47:38And we should just believe him career low. 07.1 yards per target last year is 40 receiving yards per game was his lowest mark since his rookie season.
47:47But then I remembered that in the first seven or however many games he played in 2024, he was averaging almost 20 fantasy points per game.
47:55So I do think the upside and there's great target opportunity with Mike Evans, but even when Chris Godwin was maybe quote
48:02unquote healthy last year, it was just bad. And I'm a little bit scared about whether we're going to see the big rebound from Baker Mayfield.
48:10So no, I'm, I'm probably not drafting Chris Godwin.
48:13Okay. Even, uh, 93rd. I, but I think people were a little step skeptical when I said it, but I was a
48:19big, like as of two weeks ago, I was a Scott when guy.
48:23And then I went back and I watched his tape from late last season and it was awful, awful, not a tape
48:30guy, but you don't have to be to see that he just was slow.
48:35He was really slow. And then I compared it to a couple of years ago when he got off to that great
48:42start, Ethan, he was wide receiver three per game.
48:4420, 24, I guess it was. Um, it's just no, no comparison.
48:48The only question I have is he was coming off a major injury dislocated ankle.
48:53I expected him to struggle last year. So what does his bounce back from the injury look like?
48:58If he were 27, I'd be more confident. He's 30.
49:02Right. But when I watched those, those games, it was a dolphins game specifically last year.
49:07And it was a good game for him because he had a 50 something yard play, but Jalen McMillan looked so much better than him.
49:14And to me, that's the value receiver to pick late in drafts.
49:18Although I do, I felt like Godwin was going to be more like a seventh round pick.
49:23If he's going in the nineties, it's a little bit better.
49:2793rd is exactly where I have him. Oh, okay.
49:30Yeah. I could get on board with that. I guess just in case he, he does rebound because he wasn't healthy last year.
49:37The other thing I would say though, is like, if I have a player 93rd and he goes 93rd, I'm drafting him
49:440% of the time because there's always somebody that I have ranked higher.
49:48Yeah. That's still available. But no, I just, it's possible that he does it.
49:52He bounces back again. I just worry. It's too many leg injuries for a guy who's 30 years old.
49:58That's how I do. Yeah. And he's just never going to be him again.
50:02Right. All right. Now that we remember, but is he still that same athlete?
50:07We got, um, three more players to go and I want everyone to stay to the end.
50:12Even if you don't have enough time, forget about the next three players we're going to talk about because the email at
50:19the end of the show is just terrific. We got a good email.
50:23Oh, we got a great email. Oh, I love a good email.
50:27Subject line was, um, off season fun at Dan's expense.
50:30Oh, great. So the email is so good that Adam, like I always know the emails better when Adam puts email of
50:37the day, but doesn't copy and paste the email.
50:40Yeah. He wants to be no surprise. Yeah, right.
50:42He doesn't want us prepared. Yeah. You can be prepared.
50:46He that a lot. Dan to be, God, I want to read this so badly right now.
50:51Um, all right, let's talk about, uh, Rashad white.
50:54He he's now on the commanders. He's going 118th overall in between Jonathan Brooks and Jordan Mason, Rashad white.
51:00Yeah. I'm, I'm, I'm a little bit more likely to draft Rashad white than I was before I wrote his player outlook.
51:07Um, by a lot of metrics, he was the best rusher on Tampa Bay last year.
51:12He had a career best tackle avoid rates, career best rush success rates.
51:16I really feel like since Dan lit a fire on dream, become a much better runner of the football.
51:22We know 99% he's going to be the passing downs back in Washington.
51:26And I just kind of was thinking about like, and it's different group now, kind of some of them, but what they
51:32did with Austin Eckler for a while was like, we all thought he was too old and he wasn't quite as good as he used to be.
51:41And he was just really better as a passing downs back, but they trusted him.
51:46So they gave him 12 rush attempts a game and threw it to him five or six times a game.
51:52And I, I'm not sure there's anybody on this roster to prevent Rashad white from being that guy.
51:57And he's available in round 10. And let's see where, um, do you expect to be able to trust Jane and Daniels
52:04to use him in the passing game? He used Austin Eckler, didn't he?
52:08Yeah, that is true. That was Cliff's. And he doesn't have anyone else to throw to.
52:13Yeah. Except for Terry. Did he use Eckler? I can't remember.
52:17Use him a bit. Not like, obviously not vintage Austin Eckler.
52:20Right. He, well, he was vintage Austin Eckler at that point.
52:24Yeah. Sorry. I knew. I thought I had that in here somewhere with Jane Daniels.
52:28Does he throw to his running backs? He doesn't have a very high, I don't think he has a very high running back target rate, but yeah.
52:37So Ja'Cory Krosky merit is going, uh, 126th overall.
52:40Rashad white is going, um, what did I say?
52:42I don't know. Why is this not? Oh, he's going 160.
52:46So he's going ahead of Ja'Cory Krosky merit in PPR.
52:49I, I would draft both at that cost. Yeah.
52:52All right. Next player. Oh, these are mine. Kenneth Gainwell.
52:55I wrote the AFC North and any player that was on the AFC North last year, I wrote the outlook for.
53:01So Kenneth Gainwell was now on Tampa Bay and he's the new Rashad white and Isaiah likely who is now on the giants.
53:09I think Gainwell right now, I think has one of the worst ADPs in he's going 94th.
53:14I wonder if that's just because Bucky Irving is not fully healthy right now.
53:18If probably ace fine. If Bucky Irving is ready in training camp, I'm not spending a top 100 pick on Kenneth Gainwell.
53:25Um, you know, I could see him. He had 73 catches last year.
53:29I think it's not going to happen again. And they're going to give Bucky every chance to, to win the job.
53:36Um, and then there's also Sean Tucker. So if Bucky gets hurt or fails, I don't think Kenneth Gainwell is just going
53:43to come in and be the lead back. I think Tucker's going to mix in there as well.
53:48And he's going to be the short yardage back.
53:51So I suspect that Kenneth Gainwell, if you were drafted 94th overall and Bucky Irving were healthy, I think Gainwell would be
53:58one of the most dropped players after week one or week two.
54:02I could see that. I'm with you on it.
54:05He feels like a wasted draft pick. Like, I don't have any idea.
54:09Like the entire Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster really, but I don't have any idea what to make of this running back room
54:15because Bucky's rushing efficiency was so bad last year.
54:18And I know we blame that on the shoulder and the injury.
54:22His receiving efficiency was insane. It was awesome. He was fantastic as a pass catcher, which makes me a little more skeptical
54:29that the rushing was all just injury, but I don't know that he can stay healthy.
54:34Yeah, I don't know that he can. He's not healthy still.
54:37And he if he starts last year, like he finished this or this year, like he finished last year in terms of rushing efficiency.
54:45Obviously, Kenneth Gainwell may have more carries than we're expecting.
54:48I agree. I just that's a lot of ifs to take a guy 94th overall when there are other like Jonathan Brooks
54:55is going 20 picks later or something like that.
54:58And there are other people. I mean, I think Blake Corum is going after that and we know Blake Corum is going to have carries.
55:05I guess my point is, yeah, Blake Corum is going in 90 99th, 100th is that there's there's also the Sean Tucker factor.
55:13That's he's not the clear handcuff like going to get all the work if something happens just to Bucky Irving.
55:19I think Gainwell might have a higher PPR floor than Rashad White, but a much, much lower ceiling.
55:24All right, let me see if I can find my I'm just going to read my outlook for Isaiah likely.
55:31Here we go. Will this be the year Isaiah likely breaks out?
55:34It's worth the risk in fantasy draft likely as a borderline top 10 option with a mid to late round pick, perhaps sometime around 100th overall.
55:43We saw glimpses of likely's potential with Baltimore in weeks 12 through 18 of 2023.
55:47In that stretch, likely averaged a terrific 13.9 PPR points per game with Mark Andrews sidelined.
55:52Now is a big free agent addition for the Giants and with Malik neighbors coming off knee surgery likely should see a
55:59lot of targets and has a chance to have a major impact.
56:03Of course, the Giants intend to be a run heavy offense and neighbors could still be ready early in the season.
56:09Likely is no slam dunk, but which tight end is without risk in the mid to late rounds?
56:15We're hoping this is the season it all comes together for likely.
56:19Is that the one Dave wrote for you? No, that's that was all me.
56:23And Dave wrote an outlook of yours? No, I was I was struggling with my Jalen Warren outlook.
56:29So I sent it to him and he's like, can I edit?
56:33And like, sure. And he sends it back to me.
56:36It's like three sentences longer. It was quite good, but very in-depth.
56:39I love it. But I think likely right now I put mid to late round picks going 130th.
56:45He's going 120th on draft sharks. That's pretty much a late round pick, in my opinion.
56:50I think if there's buzz, I could see him moving up to like the eighth round or something.
56:56I think 130th for Isaiah likely is terrific. Neighbors ends up on pop to start the year.
57:01Like there's going to be a jump in ADP from someone on the Giants pass catchers and likely probably the most likely
57:08no pun intended to be that guy. I would draft him over George Kittle today.
57:13Wow. Well, Dan, I also wrote the outlook for Calvin Austin, the third.
57:17Oh boy. But I'm not going to read that one.
57:20That wasn't one of the until Calvin Austin finds meaningful playing time.
57:23You know, it should have been, but I did think about Malik Neighbors.
57:28If Malik Neighbors is out, maybe he's a sleeper in deep leagues.
57:31Dan, I think has to probably read a lot of these.
57:35And I always have this anxiety of like, did I write that about a guy that I should have written more words about?
57:42But it feels like there's like 10 of those per team that it's just like, we have to put something for this guy.
57:49And there's like a 0.1% chance he matters. I think I'm good with it as long as the rookies, I think all deserve it.
57:57Their own write-ups is for the dynasty. Do people play dynasty?
58:00Yeah. I hope you read my, um, my read all of it.
58:04I read every single one. Which one do you want me to read that you're excited about?
58:09What about the Browns kicker? Schmitt. Interesting. You got some interesting Azers stats on that.
58:14His last name is S-Z-M-Y-T. Did you start with Schmitt happens?
58:17No, I said he's not a, he's not ranked as a starting option among kickers.
58:22Does not need to be drafted. If you do end up rostering him, here's a helpful hint.
58:27His last name is pronounced like Schmitt. You're welcome.
58:30I like it. I don't know if we'll keep it, but I like it.
58:34Oh, come on, man. I want to keep that, but that's, but something that probably goes above my head as well.
58:41I think we can keep that. I think we have some fun in it.
58:45Three people are going to read that. I know you're right.
58:49Especially the last sentence of it. All right. So we got an email of the day.
58:54It's from Josh. And he says, Adam, one of my favorite off season hobbies is watching you and Dan banter all while Dan is clearly George Costanza reincarnated.
59:02I've taken the liberty of providing a six episode set to prove that point based on mostly real life situations.
59:09Take and enjoy and feel free to share on the podcast on a slow news day.
59:14So I only have three. I'm only going to do three.
59:17I don't want to read all six, but Dan Costanza, the lost episodes.
59:21We have a graphic here. The golden rule. I do believe in the golden rule.
59:26Episode one is at the movies. Episode two is strong armed.
59:29Episode three is medium. Episode four is golf disaster.
59:32Episode five is the match. Part three and episode six finale.
59:36The golden rule. I'll read the first one. Oh my God.
59:39Did Thomas AI my face on the Costanza there?
59:42Yeah. And he said it was pretty seamless. I didn't even notice.
59:46I was going to say. Oh my God. You can't run away from this, man.
59:50You are. Number one at the movies. Adam sets Dan up on a blind date.
59:55And for once, everything is going perfectly. Great conversation.
59:58Great chemistry and even plans for a second date.
60:01Then she asks a simple question. What's your favorite movie?
60:04The horrifying revelation. Dan has, has not seen most of the movies.
60:07Any functioning adult is expected to have seen as he desperately tries to explain why he's never watched classics.
60:13Everyone else loves his date becomes increasingly alarmed. Quote, a major red flag campaign to become cultured overnight, speed running movie history and pretending he's seen films.
60:22He can't even summarize his pile up until he's trapped.
60:25Discussing movies with a group of self-proclaimed cinephiles. This is so good.
60:29I don't think you could beat that one. That one was literally perfect.
60:33Perfectly written. Episode two. I think episode three is my favorite.
60:36Episode two is strong armed. Dan's biggest travel pet peeve strikes again.
60:40The second the plane lands, a passenger jumps into the island and starts cutting ahead of everyone.
60:45Dan sees him coming and instinctively extends his arm across the empty seat beside him or beside him, creating a human barricade.
60:52Yep. Silent battle of wills ensues. No words are exchanged, but neither man backs down.
60:57Eeks later, karma arrives. Running late for a connection, Dan becomes the exact person he hates.
61:02Desperate to make his flight, he starts moving up the aisle before it's his turn, only to be stopped by another passenger employing the same move.
61:10Dan loudly calls Dan, quote, the scum of the earth as the entire plane nods in agreement.
61:15Dan sends the rest of the flight insisting the situations are completely different.
61:19Yeah. This is perfect. This is unbelievable. Yeah, it's great.
61:22All right. Here's number three. Smedium. After years of being accused of wearing shirts that are obviously too small, Dan finally snaps.
61:29They are larges. Nobody believes him. Determined to prove everyone wrong, Dan discovers a loophole.
61:34He'll wear his shirts inside out so the size tag is visible.
61:38Now, everyone can see they're actually large. Unfortunately, nobody is paying attention to the tag because they're too distracted by the grown
61:45man walking around with his shirt inside out and becomes known as, quote, the inside out guy, a reputation that somehow feels
61:51worse than being known as the guy who wears mediums.
61:55Oh, my God. Bravo. Unbelievable. Save the other three for another episode.
61:58This is unbelievable. And please write more. You should have had him write the outlooks.
62:03These might be. I'll put these in the I'll run these by our jet.
62:07These might be our outlooks. Phenomenal stuff. Thank you, Josh, for his unreal.
62:11Josh, you're unreal. Yeah, it's really great. How did you do that?
62:15Oh, man. And spoiler alert. In episode five, the match part three, I beat you in tennis.
62:20Well, then everything's ruined. I mean, it's just not.
62:23It's just we lost everything. We lost the plot.
62:26Have a great day, everybody. We're going to talk to you.
62:30Have a great weekend, too. Talk to you on Monday.
