Aaron Jones

PositiveProjection28:16

Aaron Jones is a solid RB2 moving forward. He looked excellent against Chicago, and the Vikings' reliance on him ensures consistent fantasy production.

Insight page

Adonai Mitchell

NegativeUsage65:42

Adonai Mitchell saw 12 targets, but his usage is volatile and dependent on game script; he is viewed as a boom-bust WR4 in deep leagues.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeInjury62:30

Alec Pierce was observed limping during the game and was ultimately carted off the field, raising concerns about his availability.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

PositiveUsage40:43

Alvin Kamara is a fantasy liability due to a lack of second-half usage and minimal target volume. He is currently being phased out in key situations, making him difficult to start.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

NegativeProjection48:40

Baker Mayfield is struggling with poor offensive line play and disjointed performance, leading to missed throws and limited fantasy production. He is not recommended as a start for Week 3.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveRole44:08

Braylon Allen should be monitored as a potential goal-line threat for the Jets, as the team may utilize a committee approach in scoring territory.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeValue74:09

Brian Thomas Jr. is struggling with drops and faces a difficult schedule, making him a difficult start despite his talent.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveValue22:51

Bryce Young is a must-add waiver wire target after an amazing start through two weeks. He is currently the QB2 and serves as a viable starter or bridge option for managers dealing with injuries to Drake May, Justin Herbert, Jayden Daniels, or Caleb Williams.

Insight page
PositiveValue62:53

The speaker suggests Bryce Young as a rest-of-season option over Drake Maye, noting it feels reactionary but is a viable consideration.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveRole49:44

Bucky Irving is currently the best player for the Tampa Bay offense and is considered a must-start fantasy asset.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeInjury47:53

Caleb Williams' fantasy outlook is clouded by a potential hamstring injury, which may limit his rushing upside after he recorded 10 carries in his first game and five in his second.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeValue49:48

Chris Godwin has had a poor start to the season and is currently recommended to be benched rather than started in fantasy lineups.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveRole67:14

With Jaden Reed potentially out, Christian Watson is positioned as a must-start player for the Packers.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveRole28:50

Following Jonathan Brooks' re-aggravation of his groin injury, Chuba Hubbard is considered a must-start player until further notice.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeRole7:26

Colston Loveland is struggling significantly, recording only three targets in Week 2. Heath Cummings expresses frustration that the offense is not running through him as expected, and Jamie Eisenberg notes that Loveland is currently being out-targeted by Khalif Raymond. While not an immediate drop, fantasy managers may need to carry two tight ends or consider dropping him if production does not improve over the next few weeks.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveUsage10:20

DeAndre Swift remains the most reliable fantasy asset in the Bears' offense. Despite a fumble at the goal line, Jamie Eisenberg confirms he is still a must-start, as the team's best path to winning involves leaning on their running backs in a conservative game plan.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveUsage25:16

Dalton Schultz is a must-start tight end who has seen 22 targets, 16 catches, and 175 yards through two weeks. His volume is expected to remain high due to the Texans' defensive struggles forcing heavy pass volume.

Insight page
NegativeValue45:51

Dalton Schultz is expected to remain a top-12 tight end, though he is unlikely to be viewed as a top-six option. He is considered a potential trade piece if managers picked him up cheaply.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeBust34:10

David Montgomery is a fantasy loser due to poor efficiency and a lack of consistent passing game involvement. He is a sell-high candidate, as his value is unlikely to be higher than it is after touchdown-heavy games.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

PositiveUsage79:02

Devon Achane is a hold after recording 23 touches in his recent game.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

NegativeUsage78:18

Deebo Samuel was a letdown in the recent game, and his fantasy value is becoming more questionable given the depth of the 49ers' receiving corps.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeValue59:51

DK Metcalf is struggling with drops but remains a high-volume target earner (tied for fourth in targets among WRs). He is a potential buy-low or throw-in trade candidate for managers who value target volume.

Insight page
PositiveValue62:37

Despite the preference for Addison, the speaker clarifies that D.K. Metcalf remains at the top of their list and is a player they would target in trades.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeBust34:23

Drake May is no longer an automatic start after a poor performance against the Steelers. He is currently struggling, and managers should consider benching him in tough matchups.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveUsage24:22

Emmanuel Wilson is a priority waiver wire look at running back following his increased workload in Week 2, particularly with the uncertain status of Jadarian Price.

Insight page
PositiveUsage28:21

Emmanuel Wilson saw significant usage in Week 2, recording 21 carries for 92 yards. Notably, 14 of those carries occurred after Jadarian Price left the game with a chest injury, positioning Wilson as a key beneficiary of the backfield situation.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeUsage65:42

Garrett Wilson scored a touchdown but saw fewer targets (7) than Adonai Mitchell (12) in the recent game.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveRole30:39

George Kittle is trending in the right direction as a go-to target for Brock Purdy. Despite playing only 53% of routes, his health and role in a high-powered offense make him a valuable fantasy asset.

Insight page

George Pickens

NegativeProjection80:57

George Pickens remains a must-start but has shifted from a borderline WR1 to a mid-tier WR2; he is a buy-low candidate.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeUsage43:25

Jadarian Price received some opportunities but failed to secure enough high-value touches near the goal line, limiting his fantasy utility.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveBreakout54:28

Jalen Coker is a must-start fantasy option after recording eight catches for 66 yards on nine targets. He has consistently delivered on expectations and is keeping pace with top-tier receivers.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveValue75:55

Jeremiah Love is ranked as a priority add among running backs like Bejal Tootin and Jadari Price, with a focus on long-term potential.

Insight page

Joe Burrow

NegativeProjection45:28

Despite a slow start with 36.5 fantasy points over two games, there is no cause for concern regarding Joe Burrow's long-term outlook.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveBreakout23:52

Jonah Coleman is the top running back waiver target, especially if J.K. Dobbins or R.J. Harvey are unavailable. Sean Payton expressed excitement about him during camp, and he saw increased opportunity in Week 2, making him an easy pivot play.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

NegativeValue46:44

Jordan Addison is currently in fantasy purgatory, but managers are advised to hold him until the team's quarterback situation with Kyler Murray stabilizes.

Insight page
PositiveValue62:26

The speaker prefers Jordan Addison over D.K. Metcalf for fantasy purposes, noting they were drafting Addison ahead of Metcalf.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveBreakout62:34

Josh Downs could emerge as a fantasy monster if Keenan Allen is suspended.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection69:09

Justin Herbert is struggling with decision-making and accuracy, leading to poor fantasy production; managers should explore other quarterback options.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveValue64:20

Juwan Johnson is a recommended waiver wire pickup at tight end, offering solid target volume in a good offense, and is preferred over trading for Dalton Schultz.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

PositiveUsage47:03

Kalief Raymond's consistent target share (five targets in the latest game) is negatively impacting the fantasy expectations for other Chicago receivers like Loveland, Burden, and Odunze.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeProjection63:19

Despite concerns about Zay Flowers' health, Lamar Jackson remains a must-start quarterback, especially with an upcoming matchup against Dallas.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeUsage9:03

Luther Burden is struggling to maintain fantasy relevance, with Jamie Eisenberg suggesting it is easier to move on from him and Odunze than from other rostered players. While he saw seven targets in Week 2, the overall offensive dysfunction makes him a difficult player to trust.

Insight page

Marcus Mariota

PositiveValue25:40

With Jaden Daniels dealing with an arm injury, Marcus Mariota becomes a priority add in Superflex leagues. Mariota has shown the ability to score over 20 fantasy points in four of his seven career starts and has a favorable upcoming matchup against Seattle in Week 3.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveBust37:27

Marvin Harrison Jr. is a major disappointment with a poor role and limited usage. He is being used as a deep-threat decoy rather than a primary target, and managers should consider dropping him for more productive options like Dalton Schultz or Trey Tucker.

Insight page

Mike Gesicki

NegativeUsage44:46

Mike Gesicki saw zero targets despite running 20 routes, a significant drop-off from his previous status as a top-five tight end option.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

NegativeValue71:03

Quentin Johnston is a hold despite the Chargers' offensive struggles, as he led the team with five targets.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeUsage53:09

Quinchon Judkins is a hold, though difficult to start with confidence. He saw increased usage on third downs (6 of 13 snaps) and recorded five catches, though his rushing efficiency remains low at 1.8 yards per carry.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveValue24:41

Rashad Bateman is a preferred replacement receiver option, having delivered a strong performance against the Saints in Week 2.

Insight page
NegativeRole63:31

Rashod Bateman's recent performance (7 catches, 88 yards, TD) is unlikely to be repeated once Zay Flowers returns, though he could settle into a WR3 range.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveUsage25:32

Romeo Dobbs has emerged as the primary receiver for the Patriots, with Demario Douglas and Mack Hollins serving as non-factors in the offense.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeUsage30:04

Saquon Barkley saw extremely limited usage in Week 2, playing only 10 snaps total. He missed most of the first half and, despite returning, did not receive any touches in the second half.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeValue79:51

Stefon Diggs is a potential sell candidate as his playing time and role in the Commanders' offense remain uncertain.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeProjection44:23

Terry McLaurin is labeled the biggest tease of the week after recording three near-touchdowns that failed to materialize into fantasy points.

Insight page
NegativeUsage79:09

Terry McLaurin led the Commanders in targets (9) but failed to produce significant fantasy points; he remains a WR3 with upside.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveRole43:22

Tony Pollard has emerged as the primary goal-line option for his team, showing clear usage in high-leverage scoring situations.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveBreakout25:50

Trey Tucker is a borderline wide receiver three and a recommended bench stash after a huge Week 2 performance. While Brock Bowers' return may lower his ceiling, he remains a viable starter if he continues to see high target volume.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

NegativeProjection72:12

Trevor Lawrence is struggling with consistency and poor second-half performances, making him a potential drop in one-QB leagues if better options are available.

1:56What a play! It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
2:00Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
2:03Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
2:06Okay, week two. Sunday is basically in the books.
2:09We're waiting for Sunday night football to start. We welcome you here to Fantasy Football Today.
2:14Adam Aizer, Heath Cummings, Jamie Eisenberg, and Dave Richard.
2:17How many... I got two trivia questions for you.
2:19How many players outscored Jackson, Smith, and Jigba in PPR this week?
2:23None. Three. Oh, three. Name them, Heath. Josh Allen.
2:26Yeah. You can stop there. It's just Josh Allen.
2:29Oh, okay. I didn't know we were counting quarterbacks.
2:32Oh, we are. I said players. They're players too, Dave.
2:35Come on, bro. Here's another trivia question. What do Deshaun Watson, CJ Stroud, Jaden Daniels, and Brock Purdy have in common?
2:42They all did something today. Deshaun Watson, CJ Stroud, Jaden Daniels, and Brock Purdy.
2:46They all led their team in... Rushing. Rushing. They all led their team in rushing.
2:51Really? I looked at one point, and Brock Purdy was averaging 10 yards per rush attempt, and he was more efficient per pass attempt.
2:58Oh, my goodness. He was amazing today. Another great day for Brock Purdy.
3:02All right, listen. Big injuries today. Caleb Williams' hamstring maybe won't be as bad as we feared.
3:08I guess he was walking with a slight limp after the game.
3:11Jaden Daniels. Tom Brady wasn't happy with it. Arm injury, probably an elbow.
3:16I don't know if officially they said that. What did he say, Jamie?
3:20No, he didn't say anything. He said... Oh, dude, stop.
3:23Stop, stop. Edit it out, Thomas. All right. Oh, that's rude.
3:26Yeah, let's stop doing this from now on. Yeah, it's...
3:29If they can say it on national TV, we can say it here.
3:33Yeah, we can. You're making more work for Thomas, Jamie.
3:37All right, stop. Anyway, we'll talk about those injuries and what they mean for everyone in fantasy, and hopefully we'll get good news.
3:44You know, honestly, just fingers crossed, I thought Jaden Daniels was going to be out for the year last year, and he wasn't, so you never know.
3:52Dave, who's the biggest winner today? There are some big-time candidates, but I'm going to go with a guy that had one
3:59catch for two yards last week, and everybody was running to the exits on the Denver Broncos passing offense, and Jalen Waddell.
4:06Eight catches, 138 yards, big-time game, double digits in targets.
4:09Did what we expected him to do, just a monster game, over 20 PPR points.
4:14No more questions about whether or not you should start or sit him.
4:18He was started in 57% of CBS leagues. That number's going to go up to 90% in Week 3.
4:24Week 3 against the Rams, and he also was a yard short of a touchdown, and then J.K.
4:30Dobbins got three straight chances and couldn't get in from the one-yard line.
4:34Heath, who is the biggest loser today? I can't hear it.
4:37Heath? I can't hear it. It's so bad. I'm sorry.
4:41I ruined it. It was fantastic before the show.
4:43It was great to make a mic check. Yes.
4:46No, though jokes aside, I think it has to be Colston Loveland.
4:50Like, I woke up on Monday morning last year, last week, with so much shame for my little mini freakout over Colston Loveland after Week 1.
4:58And I had tweets about it, and I thought, you know, you guys are right.
5:03I'm just going to rank him as tight end two again.
5:06And he was tight end two on his own team again.
5:10Yeah. Even though, obviously, it was a bad weather game, and Caleb threw for 138 yards.
5:15They were facing the Vikings and all that. He still only had three targets, and now he's got to deal with a quarterback injury.
5:22By the way, Heath was playing the San Diego Superchargers song.
5:26That's the biggest list. You couldn't hear it at all, and you could hear it perfectly before.
5:31It's so annoying. I'm sorry. It was a bad job.
5:34It was a good mime. It was, yeah. I've never seen Heath dance before.
5:39Well, let's talk about the Bears, I guess, with the injury guys.
5:43And, you know, you can throw Burden on there, too.
5:46And it's just like Khalif Raymond still doing his thing and being involved.
5:50He had five targets. Burden had seven. Tyson Bajan gave me a little bit of hope for Luther Burden.
5:56Yeah. Tyson Bajan, though, obviously, this was a while ago.
5:59It was 2023, his rookie season. He was horrible in four starts.
6:03DJ Moore had the best year of his career.
6:06And then in four games with Tyson Bajan, he had right around 50 yards and no touchdowns at every game.
6:12But that was a different coordinator, different player. But, yeah, I mean, in general, with all of the Bears, Jamie, how concerned are you right now?
6:20Highly concerned. You know, I think the run game, you're still going to start DeAndre Swift.
6:25And Mononga will still be in the flex conversation.
6:28But it's easier to get away from Burden and Odunze than it is to get away from Loveland because now you have
6:35to either carry two tight ends or make the decision to drop Colston Loveland because you can't start him at this point.
6:42You know, it's not just, oh, boy, here's now Tyson Bajan.
6:45It's now two games of Khalif Raymond and the offense not running through Colston Loveland like we thought and certainly what we
6:52saw at the end of last season. And, you know, like it was just bad across the board to see the last
6:59play of the game for the Bears where he's trying to block Dallas Turner and just got completely destroyed.
7:05Like he's not a blocker. Let's just stop trying to force him into situations that are not going to be successful for him.
7:12So I think you just have to go with the idea of carry two tight ends, see how it looks for one more week.
7:20Like if at this, you know, if you go through, you know, next week and let's just say you're picking up Darren Waller.
7:27I'm trying to think of the tight ends that are going to be in the waiver wire.
7:32Darren Waller or Schultz, you know, that's a 60 percent roster, Jamie.
7:36Schultz, you know, or whoever the case may be.
7:39Hunter Henry, you know, there's going to be a handful of guys that we talk about.
7:44If that's your pivot play and then you come out of that game with that player playing at a high level.
7:51So again, I don't I don't think we're ready to cut Colston Loveland, but he's he there.
7:56There's this less like purgatory of players or players stuck in purgatory that we get stuck with that, you know, when they're dropped, they'll be picked up.
8:05You'll be happy that somebody else probably picks them up like Marvin Harrison's now in this in this range of of player.
8:11And Loveland may be in this range of player of guys and Brian Thomas, you know, same thing with him last year and maybe the same thing now.
8:20Now, where you're just dropping these guys or wanting to drop these guys and their names are still good.
8:26Their games are not. Well, OK, is that I mean, we're really talking about being even close to dropping Colston Loveland because
8:33I get it with Marvin Harrison Jr. But he was draft.
8:37He was picked like four round three or four rounds after Colston.
8:40No, you're not again. I'm not saying you're dropping close to 11 now.
8:44If this continues for another week or two. When we start getting a bye weeks and you have roster crunch scenarios like
8:51that's where you may have to go. OK, well, I think, yeah, if we have a third week of single digit receiving
8:58yards, you can't blame anybody for dropping him. We don't hold anybody else that has three straight weeks with no production at all and no positive sign.
9:07I guess he ran a lot of routes. He ran a lot of routes.
9:11He almost had a touchdown. The same thing as last week.
9:15Remember the almost touchdown he had on a post route toward the end of the game?
9:20Same thing. Second to last play of the game.
9:23Baygent threw low. Listen, his stat line would have been two catches, a touchdown, like five yards.
9:28It's still not great. I think one of the things you have to hope for is that the Bears coaching staff sits
9:35down and says, all right, what can we do differently, especially now that we don't have Caleb Williams as our quarterback?
9:41And the first thing they say is, let's draw some stuff up for Colston Loveland, who's this mismatch at tight end.
9:48I think that's almost what you have to hope.
9:51That's part of the problem. I don't think that's the route they go, Dave.
9:55I think the route they go is DeAndre Swift and Mononga and be as conservative as you possibly can because their defense stinks.
10:03They don't want to be in shootouts with teams like you have Tyler Bajan in that game last week.
10:09They lose against the Panthers. They're not scoring 59 points with him.
10:12True. And they couldn't do anything against a good defense today.
10:16So I don't think the idea is let's draw plays to make it pass friendly.
10:21I think it's draw plays to let's try and win any way we possibly can.
10:25And when you're dissecting it, yes, Colson Loveland is still a great player, but their best way to win is through DeAndre Swift and Mononga.
10:33That's what they always do, though. Right. We know that going in, but Ben Johnson, run-heavy guy, but he runs so many
10:40plays that they're going to – typically you would expect them to be like 10th or 12th in pass attempts, but sort
10:47of atop the league in rush attempts. They're always going to be a run-first team probably with him.
10:53This is just – yeah, it's crazy stuff. It is strange, though, because Dave put out the video last week, and I
11:00think it was probably true again this week. Like, Colson – it's not like Colson Loveland's not open.
11:05And as soon as Baygent came in, it was three straight throws to Burden, and he was either open or making good plays in tight spaces.
11:13Like, I don't understand – I don't understand how Ben Johnson talks so positively about these guys, and then it's just as
11:20if they aren't even part of Caleb's game plan.
11:23Right. Well, let's also factor in – you know, Adam, you were very much banging the drum for this this morning about
11:30the weather, and so the weather was a factor.
11:33And Minnesota's defense is still really good. I know they looked bad last week against Green Bay and Jordan Love.
11:39It's still a really good Brian Flores-led defense that is going to create havoc on most teams and cause problems for most teams.
11:46And so weather, good defense, disjointed offense for – before Caleb got hurt, like, there's just a lot of things at play
11:53here that I think you could say, okay, this, this, this, and this is working – was working against the Bears.
12:00So I hope that we get a better performance – I shouldn't even say a better performance because I think we'll all
12:07be okay, and maybe it's just me. But if there's target opportunities for Colson Loveland, and, you know, even if he stinks,
12:14it's, oh, yeah, he had seven targets, but he finished three for – you know, three for 28 or something like that.
12:21You know, you'll still be okay. They're trying, and we can bank on them trying.
12:25You can bank on them trying, but if it's going to be a bunch of three for 48s or whatever you said,
12:32it's going to be somebody that – No, but – I think we need Caleb back.
12:37I think we just need Caleb to play. You're not spite-dropping him at that point.
12:42No, but you can't feel great about any of these guys if Bajan is the quarterback.
12:47You've got to get a second time. Right. But I just think they're going to have to throw at some point.
12:54Their defense isn't any good, just like you said.
12:57They can't lean on the run and expect to win a bunch of games going away.
13:02That way, they're going to have to put the ball in the air.
13:06The easiest thing in the world for them to do is do half of what they could do they already did, and that's have Bajan look for burden.
13:15The other half is getting Loveland involved and just drop some easy stuff for him.
13:19I don't know if we're going to see any of those huge games from him like we saw at the end of last year.
13:27I think that ship has sailed. But if we can get him to five for 60, that's not so bad.
13:33That ship has not sailed. The ship of Colston Loveland.
13:36If Caleb Williams is done for the year, that ship is way out into the lake like that pirate ship in the Goonies.
13:44But you didn't say that. I didn't think you said that.
13:47It is gone. If he's out for the year, then yes, the ship is probably sailed.
13:52If he's gone for two or three weeks, then of course it's still possible.
13:56Okay. All right. So we'll keep an eye on the Bears situation.
14:00He's not the only loser. I mean, Luther Burden struggling.
14:03They're all struggling except for Swift, really. And he fumbled at the goal line.
14:08Huge play there. Heath, what's coming up on FFT Dynasty?
14:11You know, I think we talk about this on Sunday night.
14:14We spend the week kind of trying to figure it out for next week.
14:19And the Dynasty discussion around Colston Loveland is obviously not, are you dropping him?
14:23Everybody in Dynasty should hold him all year long.
14:26But how do we react and move to these moves?
14:29So that's what we'll be talking about on Tuesday.
14:32And yeah, I just saw a question in the chat.
14:35Not super relevant for the listening audience. But Dave, one person wanted to know what to do with Puka Nakua.
14:41Are you expecting him to play at this point?
14:44I don't think. If he does play, I don't think he'll be particularly good.
14:49Because that's the game of the week. No. Only choice left on the board.
14:53No. No. That was your best one yet. Default game of the week.
14:57Hey. Well done. You know who gave me this idea?
15:00Shout out. Pat from Ohio tweeted me and said, you got to get Dave tonight with game of the week.
15:07All right. Sorry. I'm done talking to you, Pat.
15:10Okay. News and notes. All right. So Jane Daniels left with the arm injury.
15:14What's a bigger deal for you guys in terms of the weapons?
15:18You know, the McLaurin digs, et cetera, versus the Bears guys.
15:21Is it the Daniels injury or the Caleb one?
15:24Caleb by a mile. Yeah. Yeah. I think Mariota would be okay for the pass catchers.
15:29But even so, like McLaurin has kind of drifted into this maybe start range and Diggs is in a maybe start range.
15:36Like we were expecting Burden and Loveland to be must start guys.
15:40Right. And now if you're in a super flex league, Mariota is one to go get.
15:45He scored more than 20 fantasy points in four of his seven starts.
15:49He played seven games where he played all or almost all of the snaps and scored over 20 fantasy points in four of those games.
15:57It wasn't amazing. But if you need a quarterback, Mariota is just in time for him to play Seattle in week three.
16:04That's a good point. That's a good point. After that, it's pretty good.
16:08But yeah. Caleb Williams hamstring and Cooper Rush got benched for Jack Strand, whose first pass was a pick six.
16:14We had a lot of fumbles, a lot of fumbles.
16:17I think Pennix is going to start Thursday. I think so, too.
16:21Okay. Let's hope that would be who they playing.
16:24They are playing Green Bay. Okay. Oh, those Packers.
16:27What a great team. Anyway, a lot of fumbles.
16:29We have Ramondre Stevenson fumbling. Caleb Johnson fumbled. You know, I don't like it when when coach coaches always penalize players for
16:36fumbles when the other team recovers it. But Caleb Johnson fumbled and Marshawn Lloyd fumbled.
16:41But the difference was Lloyd's fumbled was a loss fumble.
16:44And he got benched afterwards. You've got to be elite like Justin Herbert and fumble three times and have your team have your team recovered all three times.
16:53Also, Tucker Kraft fumbled right after Caleb Johnson fumbled.
16:56DeAndre Swift fumbled at the goal line. Jadarian Price fumbled and he also hurt his chest.
17:01X-rays were negative on Jadarian Price. Emmanuel Wilson had what do you have?
17:0517 carry 21 carries or something like that. He had a lot of them.
17:09He had he had a bunch and 21 for 92, 21 and 14 of his carries came after Jadarian Price's last carry.
17:16So if you're looking at that box score going, what happened there?
17:20That's what happened. Other running back news. Jonathan Brooks re-aggravated.
17:23Oh, Omarion Hampton fumbled for the second time. So we got to think about Keaton Mitchell here because he fumbled in two straight games.
17:31Coaches hate that. Jonathan Brooks re-aggravated his groin injury.
17:34Chuba Hubbard is a must start until further notice.
17:37J.K. Dobbins has a hamstring injury. Jonah Coleman did all right.
17:40I think it was 10 carries for 39 yards and a touchdown.
17:44Three catches for 19 yards too. Yeah. R.J. Harvey was out as well.
17:48Rico Dowdle left with a toe injury, came back and left again.
17:52Ashton Gentry had two or three drops. I think we said three drops in this game.
17:57He also limped off in the fourth quarter, but he came back.
18:00Aaron Jones left in the second half, but he came back.
18:04Saquon Barkley. This one I lost track of. I know he missed basically all of the first half.
18:10He came back, but he had no touches. Did he not play that much in the second half?
18:15He played 10 snaps in the entire game. Played mostly in the third quarter, and I think he had one snap in the fourth quarter.
18:23All right. It's a dislocated elbow for Jaden Daniels.
18:26No fracture, according to Tom Pellicero. I'm not going to sit here and act like I know what the timeline is.
18:33Also, a report that says slight hamstring issue for J.K.
18:36Dobbins. There is optimism he'll be on the field next week against the Rams.
18:40Wide receivers. There's also optimism for Mike Evans. He left with a hip injury.
18:45They're kind of downplaying it, but we'll see. Demarcus Robinson has an ankle injury.
18:49Could be a high ankle sprain for 49ers receiver Demarcus Robinson.
18:52Yeah, they don't have any injuries. Jaden Reed left in the first quarter with potentially serious injury.
18:58Dallas Goddard left with a knee injury. Patriots tight end Eli Raritan got hurt, and David Njoku was carded off, and we
19:05did get a touchdown on only two targets for a Rondé Gadsden.
19:08I believe Charlie Kohler got hurt, too. He did.
19:11Oh, he did? Oh, wow. Okay. Thank you. Baltimore left tackle Ronnie Stanley left.
19:16He played most of the game, 44 snaps, but he came into the game injured.
19:20He was questionable. He played. Ronnie Stanley left with an injury.
19:24Sorry. Patriots right tackle Mike and own Wenwu. Sorry.
19:27It was carded off in the first half. Looks like a season ender for their right tackle.
19:32That's a tough break for them. The Packers offensive line is super beat up.
19:36They lost two guys today and both wash. I mean, the Daniels injury is bad.
19:41Of course, it's the worst, but both tackles got hurt for Washington.
19:45I think one of them is going to end up being a concussion.
19:49That's cause me. Yeah, cause me. I didn't see what happened to Coleman, but both tackles got hurt there.
19:55And I'll go over the defensive stuff later in the week or something like that.
20:00Cause me. He's a guard. Oh, is he? I'm sorry.
20:03Really? I thought they were saying tackle. That's not he was a guy.
20:07Not really is their tackle. They're right. My fault.
20:10My fault. But he might be like their best remaining offensive lineman.
20:14Yeah, that's my bad. All right. I'm going to take a break early waiver wire winners and losers.
20:19When we come back on a very banged up injured ho-hum day in fantasy football.
20:24We'll be right back. My companion for this summer season has been Z biotics.
20:28Let me tell you why. Just headed out to a concert at pier 17.
20:33How mouth. What a show. I got home at 3 a.m.

22:39Or kick it outdoors? Whatever you fall for. Get shoes that get you.
22:43We've got the trend. You bring the vibes. DSW, let us surprise you.
22:47All right. Welcome back. Early waiver wire. Jamie, anyone jump out at you?
22:51Number one by far, at least at this position, is Bryce Young.
22:5554% rostered. He's been amazing so far through the first two games of the season.
23:00Gets Cleveland next week. And so I think the Browns played much better this week than they did last week.
23:06But Bryce Young right now looks awesome. And I think if you're the Drake May manager, the Justin Herbert manager, obviously Jaden
23:13Daniels manager, Caleb Williams manager, Bryce Young could get you through whatever this period of time is and maybe be somebody you
23:20can lean on for the entire season, something I never thought I would say when the year started.
23:26You still have a couple guys that we talked about last week.
23:29You know, Jacoby Brissett, I think, will still be okay as a low-end starting option.
23:34Malik Willis got, you know, okay numbers for what the game was, but, you know, got lucky with the late touchdown.
23:41And then, you know, Dave alluded to this, Marcus Mariota, or you did Adam, Marcus Mariota, you know, has an opportunity here
23:48depending on how long he's out to be a potential viable starter for you.
23:52Jonah Coleman would be the biggest name at running back and maybe the biggest name across the board if we don't have J.K.
23:59Dobbins or R.J. Harvey. And this could be the guy who's the starting running back for the Broncos for who knows.
24:06You know, I mean, we know that Sean Payton was excited about him at the start of – during camp.
24:12And didn't do much in week one, but got his opportunity in week two.
24:17He is 50 – I got him at 48.
24:1949% rostered. So, you know, easy pivot play there.
24:22You have to look at Emmanuel Wilson now with the work that he got, not knowing what the status is for Jadarian Price.
24:30So I think those are obvious running back ones.
24:32We'll talk more about the other guys, I think, as we get into the week.
24:37And then wide receiver, you know, we talked about this this morning.
24:41Rashad Bateman, after we found out that Lab McConkie was going to play, I said Bateman was my favorite replacement receiver.
24:48And he certainly held up his end of the bargain with his performance against the Saints.
24:53You know, so hopefully Zay Flowers is back. But where are we at with the bet?
24:58Because Devontae had a big game. So the playing field is not leveled.
25:02I'm guessing total points is Devontae at this point.
25:05Devontae is now up 10 points in total points and behind by 8 points in points per game.
25:108 points? Wow. Jeez. Yeah, you needed Zay to play and then get hurt, not to sit out the game.
25:16Also, Dalton Schultz, for sure, a tight end. Yeah, I was going to get to the other position.
25:22Schultz, I think, Hunter Henry, you know, both those guys are going to be involved in their respective offenses.
25:28We got the answer for the Patriots. You know, it's Romeo Dobbs.
25:32And, you know, Demario Douglas was a non-factor. Mack Hollins was a non-factor.
25:36I think it was good, you know, for people that invested in Romeo Dobbs and held on to him to see some level of a decent performance here.
25:45So that's one I think you look at. Trey Tucker, you know, huge game for him.
25:50We thought we'd get it last week. We didn't.
25:53We got it this week for sure. And I don't think there's any reason to go away from him as, you know,
26:00a potential borderline starter in three receivers. Okay. How about the number one rookie wide receiver and a current top 12 wide receiver?
26:07Denzel? Denzel Boston. Yeah. How about that? Okay. That offense came alive today in the second half.
26:12It was quite impressive. Yeah, Deshaun played well. Well, let's get into the pulse-pounding performances brought to you by Whoop, the wearable
26:19device that gives you personalized insights into your sleep recovery, your strain, and how daily choices may be influencing your overall well-being.
26:26Heath and Jamie, they got their Whoops on right now and always.
26:30And if you want to learn more, head to join.whoop, W-H-O-O-P.
26:33Join.whoop.com slash FFT. All right. Here we go. Heath, your winners are Travion Henderson and the aforementioned Bryce Young.
26:39Travion started in only 30% of leagues, understandably. He had a 39-yard touchdown run.
26:44He had, I think, 10 more carries than Ramondre Stevenson.
26:47What do you make of it? Well, listen, I don't think you want to make too much of it, but I think
26:54Travion moved right back into that high-end flex borderline RB2 range where we had him for a large part of last year
27:01where, you know, on any given play, he can score enough fantasy points to make it a good day.
27:07It was a little disappointing that he didn't do anything in the passing game, but Stevenson fumbled.
27:12Henderson got the next drive. Henderson housed one. And then Henderson was just kind of the guy for not all of the
27:19rest of the game and certainly not when they wanted somebody in there to pass protect.
27:24It doesn't seem like they trust him in that regard.
27:27But 57% rush share, 60% snap share. That's a good day.
27:31And now we know that's at least possible. And I think Stevenson's looked pretty sluggish as a runner early on this year.
27:38So we might be saying right now he's a borderline RB2 and we might be saying next week it looks like Travion Henderson is just an RB2.
27:46So very exciting. And I think Bryce Young, another guy you don't want to make too much about it, but like Jamie said, he's a must add.
27:55Currently the QB2. We like two of his pass catchers.
27:58Darren Waller is adequate in a part-time role and he's been on fire.
28:02So go add Bryce Young. Dave, your winners are Dalton Schultz, 60% rostered and Bryce Young, 53% rostered.
28:07So these are not just winners. These are waiver wire guys.
28:11And Aaron Jones, who has started in 57% of leagues, he's pretty much universally rostered.
28:16But Jones looked great all game long. Just a bunch of four-plus yard runs against Chicago.
28:21And if Minnesota had lost this game, I probably would have said they needed to use him even more.
28:27But he got a ton of run. He looked good.
28:30He's turned back the clock. When he got hurt, I thought to myself, oh man, terrible timing.
28:35But he came back in, finished the game. Hopefully he's fine.
28:39The Vikings absolutely need him. And fantasy managers do too.
28:42He's an RB2 moving forward and that's where we had him ranked.
28:46Through two weeks, Dalton Schultz has 22 targets, 16 catches, and 175 yards.
28:50He has one awesome game for non-PPR, two awesome games for half and full people.
28:54Well, I don't know about awesome. Week one wasn't great, but he had eight targets with it.
29:00Clearly a guy that CJ Stroud is going to lean on, especially when they're chasing points.
29:05By all means, you can feel good about starting Dalton Schultz.
29:08You think when Nico Collins comes back? Even then.
29:11Yeah. Okay. You know, I think part of the problem is that, I don't know, man.
29:16Like, is this defense for Houston playing to the expectation that we thought it would be?
29:21Well, I mean, the answer is no, but they also played Josh Allen and Joe Burrow.
29:26Joe Burrow. And Burrow had an okay game. I mean, Josh Allen went to town, but Joe Burrow was just okay in this game.
29:34The two touchdowns to Jamar Chase were awesome. Jamar was awesome.
29:37But it makes me wonder, like, if this defense isn't shutting people down, it's going to force Stroud to have heavy pass volume.
29:44And when that happens, you're going to get a lot of targets for Schultz.
29:49I think the bigger question for me might be, can they run the ball even a little bit?
29:54Because, like, David Montgomery scored the touchdowns in week one, but he was terribly inefficient running the football.
30:00And then it was even worse this week. I just don't think they have a run game.
30:05I think we have a good defense also for the Bengals.
30:09Their run defense is going to be, I think, tough.
30:12Adam, did they snap the streak, the Bengals? They sure did.
30:16It's 26 games in a row where the Texans had not allowed multiple receivers to score 12 or more PPR fantasy points.
30:22And that streak is... I wasn't sure if it was two guys in the top 24 is what your stat was.
30:29So, yeah, that's awesome. Yeah, very cool. And I got to be honest with you, I was a little nervous about it, starting Higgins.
30:37But he came through with a really good game.
30:39Jamie, your winners are George Kittle, who had four catches for 80 yards and a touchdown on four targets.
30:45And Trey Tucker, who had five for 119 and a touchdown on seven targets.
30:50Does it bother you at all? And I think this information could change.
30:54But as of right now, I've got George Kittle at 53% of the routes.
30:58Does that bother you? He's working his way back.
31:01And so the fact that, A, he's played in the first two games is the most encouraging thing.
31:07B, that he had this game for the people that started him and were rewarded.
31:12And then, C, we had a Mike Evans injury.
31:14So, you know, that just, I think, just increases the chances of him continuing to be a go-to guy for Brock Purdy.
31:21Purdy looks awesome. The 49er schedule is great. I think as long as Kittle's healthy, you look at some of the tight end production that we got.
31:30We started the entire show talking about how bad Colston Loveland is.
31:34If you, by chance, were able to draft George Kittle with Colston Loveland, you're thrilled right now because you have a great fallback option.
31:41So the people that got Kittle late and later as the process sort of went through its ebbs and flows of he's
31:48back, okay, maybe he's going to be slow to start the season.
31:52All that information that we were given at different times.
31:55You're getting rewarded right now by a guy that, you know, we know the upside is.
32:00So it's great to just see him back on the field.
32:04And I think things are trending in the right direction for him.
32:07So, yes, you'd like to see him have more of everything.
32:11But this was a game where I thought they may not need him very much because how bad the Dolphins are and that you get the touchdown.
32:19It was a great route, great play design. It just shows you, you know, how good George Kittle can still be and
32:26probably going to get to another level. In the case of Trey Tucker, this is what we were hoping for.
32:32We were hoping to see him get targets, get opportunities.
32:36He just, you know, from the jump, it was a lot of Trey Tucker.
32:40Now, the caveat to this is it sounds like Brock Bauer is going to play next week.
32:45Did a lot in pregame warm-ups. Came back to practice on Friday.
32:49So my guess is that if he's good to go, he's back out there.
32:54That lowers the ceiling a little bit for Tucker.
32:56But, you know, as we sort of said once it was a little clear that Jalen Naylor was not going to be
33:03the guy and that Trey Tucker might be the guy, you could have a borderline wide receiver three, certainly somebody to put on the end of your bench.
33:12And if this happens again at any point, you know, then you start to put him in the starting conversation.
33:18So just good to see Trey Tucker after I think some people probably dropped him because I know they did based on his roster percentage.
33:26It was like in the low 70s and then it dropped down to the low 50s.
33:31Go back and pick him up again. All right.
33:34Trey Tucker, 51% rostered, only 3% started. And thank you to Whoop for sponsoring this week's pulse-pounding performances.
33:40With Whoop, you can better understand how your body is responding to the travel, the training, the late nights, the weather changes.
33:47It helps you see what's supporting your energy and recovery and what might be holding you back so you can make meaningful changes to enhance your overall health.
33:56Once again, if you'd like to join us and tons of other Whoop users and learn how you can get a free
34:03month on us, head to this website and Whoop is spelled W-H-O-O-P.
34:06Join.whoop.com slash FFT. Now on to the losers. We've got David Montgomery.
34:10He had six carries for 10 yards and two catches for 14 yards.
34:14And I think he was started in almost every league.
34:17David Montgomery, let's see. He was 92% started. So he's a loser for Jamie and so is Drake May.
34:23And we've got to talk about Drake May, who had a terrible game.
34:27Eight fantasy points against the Steelers. So May, I was nervous about.
34:31This was not what you wanted to see. You know, he had a bad interception.
34:36I thought he would run a little bit more.
34:39It looked like that was going to be part of the game plan early in the game.
34:44Didn't really have to do that very much. The defense played great.
34:48Like, I think if you recall how when we were breaking down this game, I thought it'd be a low-scoring game just
34:55because of how these two offenses were most likely going to operate.
34:59So Bryce Young is an easy replacement until A.J.
35:01Brown gets back, if you want to go that route.
35:05I'm probably going to bench him in tough matchups.
35:07And I don't think that Drake May is matchup-proof right now.
35:11I know last year he did not have A.J.
35:14Brown. He also does not have Stephon Diggs, who was clearly a big piece of this offense.
35:19So he'll have better performances than this. The Steelers defense just is, you know, still a formidable opponent.
35:25But I'm just not very confident in Drake May right now, knowing that he's just a little bit off.
35:31And this is now going into the game. He was averaging 17 fantasy points per game in his last six.
35:37Again, that's the playoffs and the Super Bowl, two games against Seattle in that stretch.
35:42So it was just some really good defenses. I think Pittsburgh qualifies.
35:45But I just don't think it's automatic starting Drake May anymore right now.
35:50And for Montgomery, he sort of hit on this earlier.
35:53You got lucky last week with the touchdowns. The thing that I was encouraged about last week was the three catches.
35:59And so hopefully he still, you know, remains involved in the passing game.
36:03Five catches in two weeks is about what you would expect for, you know, David Montgomery if you're talking about him being more involved in the passing game.
36:12But when we did buy low, sell high on Wednesday, I think this was one of the – I don't remember if
36:19I said it, but I know one of us said it – about trying to sell David Montgomery.
36:25Like, this was the opportunity because, you know, multiple touchdown games will happen for him, but his value is probably not going to be as high.
36:33He'll get back to a higher level. I just also think the Cincinnati run defense is going to end up being very
36:40good with Dexter Lawrence and Jonathan Allen in there.
36:43And I know Bucky had a good game against them in week one.
36:47A lot of that had to do with just his performance.
36:50When they face a plotter like this, I think they're going to do damage against the opposing running back.
36:56So that has to do with it as well.
36:59So hopefully Montgomery is better in week three. Montgomery getting the Colts in week three on the road.
37:05Colts and Cowboys and Titans. So plenty of chances for him to get some numbers.
37:10Yeah. Truthfully, I hope that when Nico Collins is back, he's better.
37:13That's a fair point. Yep. Right. Just the offense will be better.
37:17Okay. Go to Dave's losers here. I don't know how much you want to expand on it.
37:22Rome Odunze, Luther Burden, but then Marvin Harrison. We haven't talked about him.
37:27One target, no catches, and a bad day for the Cardinals offense.
37:30Yeah. And only 25% of fantasy managers started Marvin Harrison, but the other number is his roster ship, which is 96%.
37:37That number has got to go down. I had him ranked as my 100th overall player this week, and that was too high.
37:44He was in the 50s among wide receivers. That was too high.
37:48He is being given a role that you would expect somebody fast to have, and he is not that.
37:54They do not lean on him for his agility.
37:57They don't lean on him to be some sort of contested catch guy.
38:01They lean into Trey McBride, and rightfully so. He's their best pass catcher.
38:05Michael Wilson's just okay. Kendrick Bourne had, like, what, two catches for 11 yards.
38:09Despite the entire passing offense being pretty much mediocre against Seattle, and it is Seattle, but whatever, still just one target from Marvin Harrison.
38:17I look forward to going over his film after this game and seeing him running down the field, usually at three-quarters speed,
38:24and then turning around and going back to the huddle, and then doing it again.
38:29He is literally doing something that you would expect Adonai Mitchell to do, or name a fast receiver.
38:34It's what Christian Watson used to do. Fine. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
38:38You know what? And that's perfect because who has coached Christian Watson for many years?
38:42Except for whatever reason, Michael LaFleur, and maybe he's just realized that the best way to use Marvin Harrison is just put
38:49him over on the side like the last fat kid picked for flag football, and you put him over on the sideline.
38:56You say, okay, you just go deep every time.
38:59And the quarterback will say, yeah, sure. I'm going to throw it to you.
39:03And then he never throws it to you. And it ruined my life, Brian Vanderbilt.
39:08We're going to be... You obviously cannot start Marvin Harrison, and there's going to come a point in the very near future where you are going to cut.
39:17All right. Let's do it. Would you drop him for Dalton Schultz?
39:21Yes. Assuming I needed a title. Like, let's say I'm in a world where I've got, I don't know, Marvin Harrison Jr.
39:28and Colson Loveland, or Drake May and Marvin Harrison Jr.
39:31I need to pick up somebody? Hell yeah, man.
39:34Bye, Marvin. Okay. Would you drop him for Trey Tucker?
39:37Yeah, maybe. Maybe. Like, when am I going to use Marvin Harrison?
39:41We need the Pam from the office. That's the same picture.
39:44No, they're not the same picture because Tucker is fast.
39:47And that's what scares me, is I do think Marvin Harrison's probably going to have a good game.
39:53No, he's Moped Marv. He'll have... Yes, he will.
39:56He will have good games. He will. No, he won't.
39:59He has four targets. The name is writing him off.
40:02It's over. It is. He's like, watch him play.
40:05I know. Watch him play and tell me that this is somebody that you think has a chance to have a really good game.
40:12I didn't draft him any leagues for this exact reason, Dave.
40:16His tape is terrible. And his role is terrible.
40:19Now, speaking of terrible, oh my gosh. I lost it today.
40:22What a drive. Yeah, it was a good drive by the Colts.
40:26I lost the Colts going to the Super Bowl.
40:29I lost it today. The Colts are going to the Super Bowl.
40:33I said that last week. All right, it's time to double down on the beard bet with that one.
40:39All right. With the Travis ETNH and stuff, not the pronunciation, the usage.
40:43I mean, I think Kamara had almost nothing in the second half, at least.
40:47And we saw ETN, sorry, A-Chan, near the goal line.
40:50He had a two-point conversion. I think he had a touchdown called back.
40:54There's enough encouraging stuff there. But Heath, he's one of your losers with great reason.
40:59And I'm so annoyed. Why pay this guy when you have the worst running back in football for the last four years
41:06and you give him like 10 touches before when ETN has two?
41:10And I can't even say ETN's name right anymore.
41:13I'm losing it, Heath. I am losing it. What is going on here?
41:17I think it was kind of rude of him to lie to us and say his last name is pronounced H-Chan when it's actually Pacheco.
41:25That's wrong, but very right. No, I don't. I don't.
41:28I think Kellen Moore is a really smart offensive coach.
41:31And so I have a hard time believing that he will do what he did in this game again.
41:37It was absurd. Travis A-Chan was third on the Saints in rush attempts.
41:41Alvin Kamara, I believe, caught five passes for six yards.
41:44It was like that is... And now they won the game.
41:48So maybe they won't be as discouraged to do something like that again.
41:52But you can't start him. He's basically Ja'Chori Krosky-Mera right now.
41:55Well, but at least he's playing near the goal line.
41:58I don't know what's going on with Ja'Chori Krosky-Mera.
42:01Rashad White just basically replaced him in the second half.
42:04I want to see if Kamara had any touches in the second half.
42:08He had four carries and he did not have a catch in the second half.
42:13Four carries for five yards, which is, you know, that's Kamara for you.
42:17Travis A-Chan had six carries for 16 yards and two catches for six yards.
42:22All right. So he's frustrating. Understand that you're going to be hesitant to start him.
42:26He does get the Raiders next week, the 2-0 Las Vegas Raiders.
42:30All right. We're going to get into... It'll be nice to see the Raiders play a good team.
42:36It will. It will be. All right. We're going to get into the games when we come back on Fantasy Football today.
42:43Queen Carvania stood haloed by the morning sun. An army hung on her every word.
42:47My champions, I have sold my chariot on Carvana.
42:50It was a lovely SUV, an inexplicably queenly offer.
42:53They're even coming to the castle to collect it.
42:56Tonight we feast. An offer you can feast on.
42:59Sell your car today on Carvana. Pickup fees may apply.
43:02You know, recommendations can be great. Maybe someone recommended this podcast, and here you are.
43:07But home projects are different. If a podcast isn't your thing, you lose a few minutes.
43:12If you hire your cousin's neighbor to mount your TV, you might end up with a lopsided screen and wall damage.
43:18Maybe I know a guy just isn't enough for your home.
43:22We saw Tony Pollard basically be the goal line guy.
43:25We saw a lot of stuff for Seattle. But unfortunately, Jadarian Price got some opportunities, but not enough of the opportunities near the goal line.
43:33And then Washington was weird. I mean, Rashad White was playing near the goal line.
43:37He had all their snaps inside the five. Wow.
43:40Wow. Rashad White also was there in some hurry-up situations, though.
43:44Like when Jadon got hurt. Right. And the most, one of the more, well, something that was encouraging and then take a step back was Bejal Tootin.
43:52Tootin got a one-yard touchdown run on a direct snap.
43:55Later on in the game, they had a goal-to-go situation, I think around the five-yard line, and Chris Rodriguez was in.
44:02But I would have guessed Rodriguez would be in at the one, and it was Tootin, and he scored.
44:08So that was great to see. And then honestly, if the Jets get down near the goal line, don't be surprised if it's Braylon Allen.
44:16I still don't think we have an answer. It may not be one guy, but don't be surprised if at times it's Braylon Allen.
44:23Okay. Let's get to the games here. Although we should mention that Terry McLaurin had three almost touchdowns.
44:29So he's the biggest tease this week. Cincinnati 20 and Houston 6.
44:33Heath, I forgot about Believe It or Not. Do you want to do Believe It or Not?
44:38I think we, you killed it last week. Why?
44:41Just officially it's over? Believe It or Not, Mike Gesicki did play in this game.
44:46But I guess I believe it. Zero targets, though.
44:4920 ran 20 routes. I looked because I didn't watch much of this game.
44:53And so I wanted to make sure that we went from being like a top five tied in to not receiving a target.
45:00But it was good for Jamar Chase and T.
45:03Higgins. Sounds like Mike Gesicki started in 6% of leagues.
45:06So and only rostered in 18%. No one bought it.
45:09I think that this is exactly what you want to see from the Bengals.
45:14They gave pretty much all of their touches to the three guys that we want them to go to.
45:20They didn't have to throw the ball much because they won 20 to 6.
45:24And yes, their defense is improved. But yeah, I don't know.
45:28Like Joe Burrow has 36.5 fantasy points in two games.
45:31Are we worried about Joe Burrow? No. Okay. No.
45:34The Texans are the Texans. We talked about Montgomery.
45:36You know, Hutchinson, if you still need someone next week, he gets targets.
45:40He doesn't do much with them. He had nine targets in this game.
45:45And then we talked about Schultz who, yeah, I mean, would you say sell high on Schultz if someone's buying?
45:51I don't think anybody's buying. Like I think Dalton Schultz is going to be a top 12 tight end.
45:57I don't think anybody's buying Dalton Schultz as a top six tight end.
46:01I think if you go to the Loveland manager, you could probably get something for Dalton Schultz if you picked him up
46:08for, you know, just bleeps and giggles. Thank you, Jamie.
46:11Remove the word giggles from the show, please. Minnesota 9, Chicago 3.
46:15Another thriller. Actually, this one was pretty exciting. Can we dismiss the crappy performances from, you know, from Jefferson and Addison and just say it was the weather?
46:24It was the weather, but also Kyler Murray's probably going to start next week, right?
46:28You would think. Carson Wentz did nothing to win the job.
46:32Right. Right. Fair. Yeah. And this was all Aaron Jones.
46:35Wentz had 20 pass attempts. Jones had 23 carries.
46:38Like they, they could not win this game without Aaron Jones today.
46:42What do you think about Addison keeping keeper drop Jordan Addison?
46:45I'd prefer to keep them. Yeah. He's kind of in that purgatory.
46:49You know, we got to, I'd like to see just what it looks like with a full game of Kyler Murray.
46:55Yes. Okay. On the Chicago side. Yeah, we covered it.
46:59However, one thing we didn't really talk about was this Kalief Raymond role.
47:03Again, he had five targets and they had, I think they had 35 pass attempts, but that's still a two.
47:09It's still annoying. So do we have to lower our expectations for Loveland, Burden and Odunze?
47:14Even like, let's just say Caleb Williams is back in a few weeks.
47:18Does Kalief Raymond, if you knew what you know now when you were drafting with the Kalief Raymond role, would you drop those guys in your draft?
47:27I would not have drafted them as high. Correct.
47:29Yeah. And that's the beginning. What do you mean?
47:32Well, I mean, there's all the other factors that we now know about this team that two weeks ago we didn't know.
47:39Yeah. And that, I mean, we're absolutely not taking Colson Loveland.
47:43We're not taking any of these guys anywhere near where we were drafted them based on what we've seen from Caleb Williams.
47:50And then obviously now Caleb hurt plus Raymond having a role.
47:53Except we did see one game of Caleb Williams.
47:56He was going to win the MVP. And then he...
47:59Right. Not in a way that helped any of those guys.
48:02Right. Right. Yeah. He was Josh Allening it for part of that game against Carolina.
48:07That's a great point. You know, it should be mentioned.
48:10He ran 10 times. He ran... How many times did he run in that game?
48:1515 times? No. I don't know how many. He ran at least 10 times.
48:19He ran 10 times. That's a lot. And he ran five times today.
48:24Yeah, that's a lot. He's running more so far this year.
48:27That could change with the hamstring. Carolina 30... No.
48:30I skipped a game. Cleveland 23. Tampa Bay 19.
48:33After a long weather delay, they finished this one up.
48:36Jamie Baker Mayfield did not come through. Are we done with him?
48:40Yeah. I mean, you might be. You know, Caleb manager, Jane Daniels manager, you know, they might be excited.
48:46To get Baker Mayfield. Does not have an easy matchup in week three.
48:50You know, you're looking at two struggling performances right now.
48:53His offensive line has been bad. You know, I...
48:56Mm-hmm. I thought, again, that it was Cincinnati last week.
48:59That was a big reason why. And just, okay, this Bengals defense could be legit.
49:04And then seeing it today against Cleveland, which Cleveland couldn't do anything against the Jaguars last week.
49:09It's not great, I think, for Baker up front.
49:12So he had a little bit of, you know...
49:15I don't want to say, like, bad luck, because he had some bad throws.
49:19But he had guys open that he missed. And so if he hits...
49:23You know, Hurst had essentially a drop in the end zone that, you know, maybe would have changed some things.
49:29And when they came back from the weather delay on the winning side, and obviously his fantasy production.
49:35But really, Abuka has not had a great start.
49:38Chris Godwin has not had a great start. And the best player for Tampa Bay easily right now is Bucky Irving.
49:44So I hope, as you alluded to, you know, we don't see Sean Tucker.
49:49And we certainly have not seen Kenneth Gamel. I don't know what the purpose of adding him has been if you're not
49:56going to use him as a weapon in the passing game.
49:59So really, at this point, it's... Bucky is a must-start guy.
50:03Abuka is probably a maybe-start guy. And Godwin is, you know, somebody that should stand your bench.
50:08I thought watching Baker play today, it's like, when he drops back to pass, nothing looks easy.
50:13No, that's a great way to put it. Like, it just...
50:17And some of it's... I think some of it is his fault.
50:21And I think some of it is... He didn't have a lot of guys getting open.
50:26And some of it is just the whole thing looks disjointed.
50:29The offensive line, and especially the tackles, were letting pressure get near him.
50:33So he dropped back and then immediately step up.
50:36And most of the time, by some miracle, he avoided the pass rush pressure and made a throw down the field.
50:43But he got sacked, I don't know how many times.
50:46Not that many, right? Maybe three? He just gets hit so much.
50:50He gets hit a lot. He likes to hold the ball, you know?
50:54He likes to look... Yeah, I don't know if he's holding it that much.
50:58I think the offensive line is really where the genesis of the problems are for Tampa.
51:03I think Jamie's right about that. And that's part of the reason why they struggled to get points up early on Cleveland.
51:10Okay. And I will say, I think anyone in this boat...
51:14I was pretty high on Chris Godwin, and I don't even want to start him right now.
51:19I'm not going to drop him, but I don't want to start him.
51:23Why? I did drop him in one league, but it's kind of a shallower league.
51:28But look, it's two games. There's always going to be teams that are bad for a certain amount of time and turn things around.
51:35It could happen. I don't want to give up on...
51:38Baker Mayfield had a 26 or a 27-game stretch from the end of 2023 to the first six games of 2025, where
51:45he averaged more than 24 fantasy points per game.
51:48He did it for parts of two seasons and a full season in between.
51:53I'm not ready after two games to completely give up on that.
51:56Obviously, I'm less excited, less hopeful for it. I'm not quite ready to give up.
52:01And he's going to suck next week against Minnesota, too.
52:04So I'm going to say it again. I'm not going to give up on it.
52:09And I don't know if these numbers are updated fully for...
52:12We always have this question on Sunday night. But either last week or through this week, Baker has the seventh highest time to pressure.
52:20He's getting pressured. No. Like two points. No. Highest.
52:23Longest. Okay. Oh, yes. 2.77 seconds. It's tied with Trevor Lawrence.
52:26Um, I... I think he's holding the ball. All right.
52:29He's definitely holding the ball. Without question, he's holding the ball.
52:33You watch him, he's holding the ball. Yeah. I think that's kind of his style.
52:38And as far as Cleveland goes, what are you...
52:40Your Super Bowl champions just pooped themselves. Listen, man.
52:43This... I think what you have to watch out with the Colts is they're going to come out with this scripted opening drive and look great.
52:51And what are they going to do afterwards, right?
52:54Yeah. But... And it was... It was the usual first read for Daniel Jones.
52:59I mean, it was a slant that got intercepted?
53:02Yeah. I mean, Giants fans have nightmares about that.
53:04Anyway, um... Uh, what's... What... Dave, what do you tell Quinchon Judkins' managers right now?
53:09Hold. Try not to start. It's hard to feel good about him.
53:13Here's a game that Cleveland won, but they won it on the arm of Deshaun Watson.
53:18How's that for a sentence? He had five catches.
53:21He did. 12 carries, 21 yards, though. 1.8 yards per carry.
53:24Speaking of offensive lines that aren't doing great. I think the run blocking could be a little bit better for Cleveland.
53:31And the five catches are great. 27 yards are fine.
53:34It's hard to start Quinchon Judkins expecting five catches every single week.
53:38I do think he... And I don't know if this is official.
53:42I usually like to wait a day until I check the routes and stuff like that.
53:47I think they change a little bit. But I think he played a little bit more of Judkins on third down this week.
53:54Which is encouraging. Six of 13 snaps, yes. Yeah.
53:57It's encouraging. Okay. That's the Browns. Would you rather have Dave Montgomery or Quinchon Judkins rest of season?
54:02Oh. Montgomery. I'm going to say Judkins, but no, with zero conviction.
54:06Yeah. I have zero conviction either. I'd go with the younger guy who just caught five passes.
54:11How about Chuba Hubbard or Quinchon Judkins? Chuba. Chuba.
54:14Had to be Chuba. Let's go to Carolina 34, Atlanta 3.
54:18We're looking forward to a quarterback change for the Falcons.
54:21I don't really know what to say here. I mean, we talked about Bryce Young.
54:26Jalen Coker. Jamie. Pretty good follow-up. I mean, he didn't have a...
54:29He wasn't wide receiver one this week, but eight for 66 on nine targets.
54:34We'll take it. I think they're both must-start guys.
54:37You know, you're looking at what we love is concentrated targets.
54:40I know Darren Waller had the two touchdowns, but I mean, look, you got nine for Coker and 10 for McMillan.
54:47The quarterback is playing great right now. This wasn't necessarily the opponent that challenged them.
54:51And I think we had some questions about that, right?
54:55The Bears were making them have to throw. Were the Falcons going to do the same?
55:00And you still got a great performance from Bryce Young, who just...
55:03I mean, like, the Falcons should trade for Bryce Young.
55:07He's just amazing when he plays in that city.
55:09So, you know, I think just looking at it, getting Cleveland next week, two different versions of the Browns defense has showed up through two games.
55:18But the same version of Bryce Young has shown up through two games, and it's been a pretty good fantasy quarterback.
55:24So hopefully that just continues for Coker and McMillan.
55:27And, you know, I think, like, we've talked about a handful of players, not necessarily just receivers, but, like, Jalen Coker, if
55:34he's not in your flex or not in one of your starting receivers at this point, I don't know what more the
55:41guy has to do because it was a great finish to last season.
55:45It's been even better through the first two games of the season.
55:49And he's keeping pace with a guy in McMillan who was a, you know, top four-round pick.
55:54So, I don't know. To me, Jalen Coker's more than delivered on his expectations.
55:58And thankfully, last week's injury wasn't a problem with the ankle.
56:02So start him until further notice. Would you trade straight up Jalen Coker for Colson Loveland?
56:07So I think it depends on— I would rather have Coker and find a tight end.
56:12I have a team that has George Pickens and T.
56:15Higgins and Parker Washington and Jalen Coker. And it's a league where you start two wide receivers.
56:20I would trade Jalen Coker for Colson Loveland in that league.
56:24Okay. Fair enough. But it would have to be—you'd have to be stacked at wide receiver.
56:29And maybe I should just start Jalen Coker over George Pickens.
56:32One other note of positivity for the Panthers' passing game.
56:36Two very different game scripts for the Panthers. Yeah.
56:38Blown out in week one. Yeah, yeah. But no, 63% pass rate for the Panthers.
56:43I'll give you one more positive. They're doing this without their tackles.
56:47Yeah, that's a great point. Yeah. All right. Philadelphia 24, Tennessee 20.
56:51And you look at—I'm sorry, just from an NFL perspective.
56:54Like, the Saints could have been 1-0-1 if they tied last week instead of going for the win.
57:00They also could have been 2-0. 2-0. Like, the Panthers may win the division again.
57:04You know, Tampa Bay does not look good right now.
57:070-2. Like, they're there. They are. All right. Philadelphia 24 and Tennessee 20.
57:11The Titans had the ball for 23 minutes and 35 seconds.
57:15They had the ball for less than that in week one.
57:18They've run 100 plays in two games. That's very low.
57:22And they stink. The Eagles, though, this was a game where, I mean, all I saw was red zone.
57:28But every time I saw Jalen Hurts, I feel like he was running for his life.
57:33Their line is just not great. No. It's hard when your offensive line gets hurt.
57:37Yeah. 100%. So, any major takeaways from this game?
57:40I mean, we had 74 yards from Dontavian Wicks.
57:43We have the Goddard injury. Heath, what do you think in here for the Eagles?
57:48I think we pretty much know what to say about the Titans.
57:51Well, I think this game didn't count for the bet, actually, because their tight end got hurt.
57:57Oh, no. We weren't going to count games when different players weren't there.
58:01No. I don't think there's really anything to take away from this other than is Saquon Barkley healthy?
58:07And if he is not, is Tank Bigsby a first, like, use my first waiver claim on?
58:12Second. Jonah Coleman will be first. I think that's right.
58:15Shipley had more snaps than Bigsby in this game.
58:18Yeah. This is just the fourth quarter. Shipley had 60% of the snaps and four or five on third down, and their only snap inside the five.
58:26Tank Bigsby, 35% of the snaps. You'd also probably have to put Emmanuel Wilson in that conversation, too.
58:32Yeah. Pending Price's injury, sure. Well, we know Price is hurt.
58:36We don't know the extent of it. Barkley at least came back from his injury.
58:40Well, Wicks has two straight games with over 70 yards, and he's 43% rostered.
58:45You know, it's not a ton of targets. It's 10 targets in two games, and Hurts actually threw 37 passes in this game.
58:52But do you think Dontavian Wicks should be rostered in at least half of our leagues?
58:57If Goddard's going to miss time, yes. Yep. Okay.
59:00All right. And then I'm sorry about the Titans.
59:03Every league needs a Titans. I had a tough call to make in the 10-team league with a shallow bench, and I dropped Cardinal Tate.
59:10I didn't want to do it, but he was easily the best, the top guy to drop.
59:16I was thinking about this as you were talking.
59:19If you saw Marvin Harris and Cardinal Tate and Jordan Addison on your waiver wire, who would you pick up first?
59:25Addison. Addison. Yeah. Tate would be second. You would.
59:28Yeah. Okay. New England 20, Pittsburgh 3. Just last thing on the Titans, if you had Tony Pollard, at least he did get some goal line chances.
59:37I think he almost scored. It just didn't work out.
59:40But all right. New England 20, Pittsburgh 3. I didn't see all of it, but I'm pretty sure you guys know.
59:46I think Carlton Davis. I mean, sorry. I think Christian Gonzalez was shadowing DK Metcalf.
59:51And DK Metcalf should have had a great day.
59:54He was awful. He had a terrible case of the Jerry Judys in the first half.
59:59I think we can call them the DK Metcalfs.
60:02He's dropped enough balls. He stinks. It's the first two games, really.
60:06He's gotten all of the volume. 19 targets in his first two games.
60:10And a couple of them were bad throws from Rodgers.
60:13But just awful drops. And you have to wonder, do they just stop throwing it to him?
60:18Was he shadowed? There's nobody else, though. That's the problem.
60:21He was shadowed, right? Well, it wasn't every play.
60:24Because Gonzalez was on Jeremy Bernard for a couple plays.
60:27He was on Firemouth, too. Okay. But at least saw a lot of him.
60:32He doesn't usually beat great cornerbacks like that. And yeah, I saw one drop.
60:36I didn't see all the drops. But rough game.
60:39But maybe, I mean, is this a buy low window for DK Metcalf?
60:43No. Who wants DK Metcalf, though? He's currently tied for fourth in targets among wide receivers through two weeks.
60:49Which is great. Yeah, but he's not doing jack diddly with it.
60:53But that's the thing. It's like... And it's 8.4 yards per catch on the balls that he is catching.
60:59Okay. This is how I would look at it, right?
61:02I don't think he's going to get eight or nine targets a game.
61:06But if he could at least be a wide receiver three, right?
61:10Then you get him as a throw-in for a trade.
61:13And no one even... The guy who trades Metcalf thinks, I'm getting rid of this bum.
61:18Maybe you have a player that has a good week here or there, you know?
61:23I think if you can get him as a throw-in.
61:26Yeah, good luck figuring out when those are going to be.
61:29Yeah. He should have had a great game last week against Atlanta.
61:33You just saw what the Panthers receivers did against Atlanta.
61:36And now this week, and again, nine targets. Tougher matchup this week.
61:40You can kind of forgive him for it. But at the same time, when you're getting this type of opportunity, you should
61:47be able to do better than 7.4 people. If you know there's someone in your league that's very...
61:53That's very reliant on or looks at targets. And is encouraged by the target volume.
61:57And is dealing with an A.J. Brown's, A. Flowers, maybe Puga Nakua injuries, you know?
62:02And wants to just buy into it. Oh, hey, look, the volume is there for him.
62:07Then maybe you can have some sort of a package trade with D.K.
62:11Metcalf. But I don't think anybody's like, oh, I got to go get D.K.
62:16Metcalf. Right, he's a piece of it. And I would...
62:19Okay, like if he were on the waiver wire with Addison, Harrison, and Tate, would you pick him up over those guys?
62:26I was drafting Addison ahead of D.K. Metcalf, so I'd rather have Addison.
62:30I would... Oh, no. Alec Pierce is limping. He may be okay.
62:34Josh Downs might be a monster soon if Keenan Allen is suspended.
62:37No, D.K. would be at the top of that list pretty easily for me, Adam.
62:42I'm the guy that Jamie was talking about that has Zay Flowers and likes targets and would take D.K.
62:48Metcalf as a throw-in on a deal. Okay, and then we talked about the Patriots.
62:53Let me ask you, rest of season, Bryce Young or Drake May?
62:57You only have one? Mm-hmm. Bryce Young. It feels reactionary to say Young.
63:01But it's another month of no A.J. Brown. It's true.
63:04Okay. All right. Let's go to the Saints. What a great win for the Saints at Baltimore.
63:09Yeah, it was. Question for the Saints here. He goes right to Josh Downs on the first play.
63:15With... Every play. With... Yeah, let's ask a question for the Ravens.
63:19Do you think Lamar Jackson... If Zay Flowers misses another game, do you think Lamar Jackson is no longer a must-start quarterback?
63:25They're playing Dallas. You're starting him. Yeah, they are.
63:28In Rio. Do you think Rashad Bateman will have value Wednesday, Flowers?
63:32Well, that's a great point, Dave. I wonder if Flowers plays in that game.
63:37The field's bad, they say, right? The field is horrible, according to reports, yeah.
63:41Okay, wait. Back to this, though. Do you think Rashad Bateman, seven catches, 88 yards, and a touchdown, is relevant when Flowers comes back?
63:48No. I think he... I agree that he's not relevant in the case you're starting.
63:53They still lost Jacoby Lane. Let's not overlook that.
63:56They lost two receivers going into this game. It wasn't just Flowers.
64:00It was a guy that they were counting on to be a significant contributor.
64:04So I don't think Rashad Bateman does this again if Flowers is healthy.
64:08But I wouldn't be surprised if he's in that wide receiver three range.
64:12Yeah. Well, if I were coaching, I'd probably get him the ball more than Flowers.
64:17I think he's an underused guy. Oh, sure. Right.
64:20What do you guys think about Devon Vele and Jawan Johnson?
64:23Who do you think is a better start at their respective position?
64:27They both had about 65 yards, four or five catches, pretty similar games for Vele and Johnson.
64:33Heath, who's a better start at their respective position?
64:35Yeah. Which of the wide receivers are going to be healthy for next week?
64:40I would say probably I would lean towards Johnson.
64:43But if the majority of the wide receivers don't come back next week, then it may be Vele.
64:48Okay. 10.6 PPR points for Jawan Johnson. He had an almost touchdown.
64:52I don't know if you mentioned that earlier, Adam.
64:55No, no. But I would be far more inclined to take Jawan at tight end.
65:00That's one of the tight ends that you could have gone and picked up off the waiver wire instead of trying to
65:07trade for Dalton Schultz and give up something on your bench for him.
65:11Yeah, you just find a tight end like this who's in a good offense.
65:15He's going to get solid target volume from week to week.
65:19This is a game where they didn't throw like crazy, certainly compared to week one.
65:23And he still gave you double digits. Okay. Packers.
65:26Johnson was not available as much as Schultz was.
65:29Fair. Like 77% roster, 73% roster. I think just knowing that.
65:32Going into this week, you mean? Yes. Loveland's terrible performance.
65:36Goddard injured. Like if they're both on waivers, I'm taking Jawan Johnson.
65:39All right. Green Bay 20 and the Jets 17.
65:42What do you make of Adonai Mitchell having 12 targets and only seven for Garrett Wilson, who did score a touchdown here.
65:49But, you know, Dave, your take on the Jets passing game.
65:53Gino clearly had eyes for him and Mitchell drew some penalties along the way.
65:57He's solid. I don't know if I could ever look at Adonai Mitchell and put him in even the same boat as
66:04Devon Vele because I don't know how often the Jets are going to be in a game where they can't run the ball whatsoever.
66:11I mean, this was surprising. The Packers run defense really stepped up in this game.
66:16They deserve a lot of credit. Brees all had 16 carries, 1.8 yards per rush.
66:21Just totally shocking that they couldn't run the ball a little bit better than they did.
66:26I would imagine there will be games down the stretch where the Jets will be able to run the ball fairly well.
66:33And I, and I Mitchell won't see 12 targets.
66:36He might not even see six. So deep leagues.
66:38If you want to use Adonai Mitchell, he's like a boom bus number four wide receiver.
66:44Do the Packers have a running back that we want to start?
66:47No, not until Jacob's situation is resolved. No. Caleb had some nice runs.
66:51Like I know that there was some bad stuff in there too, but he actually had some very nice runs in this game.
66:59He might be the answer. I don't know. I mean, Marshawn Lloyd had that fumble.
67:03Caleb Johnson had led the team with eight carries 32 yards.
67:07Caleb had a fumble too. He just didn't lose it.
67:10That's right. That's right. Yeah. All right. Well, that's a waiver wire topic.
67:14And then with Jaden Reed out, I mean, Christian Watson could have just, I don't know how long Jaden reads out, but
67:21you know, it could be surprised if he played next week.
67:24I wouldn't lose sight of Matthew golden either. Yeah.
67:27Who came to shove in the fourth quarter? That dude was getting the ball and he, he's still got speed to make plays after the catch too.
67:36And the, the more that this team can't run the ball, like we can talk about the jets and say, yeah, eventually
67:43the jets should be able to run the ball and do what they did.
67:47And week one against Tennessee, they'll find other opponents to do that against.
67:51I don't know if green Bay is going to be able to run the ball effectively.
67:56Uh, even maybe even when Jacobs comes back, their offensive line took a hit today.
68:01And so if this is just going to be the game script over and over again for Jordan love, these two dudes
68:08Watson and golden are going to be must starts.
68:11Okay. Let's go. Let's go to the late games, Las Vegas, 26 and the chargers 14.
68:16Jamie, how worried are you about the chargers offense?
68:19Eight out of 10, nine out of 10, 15 out of 10.
68:22I mean, does Mike McDaniel survive the season? Does he survive the next five games?
68:27Like it's, it's bad. It's, it's really bad. The, the interior of the offensive line is the biggest problem.
68:33Yes. Um, it's, you know, something I, I, I think for me at least, you know, should have looked into a little
68:40bit more when the, I just got injured. I just thought, you know, the tackles back, they'll, they'll be able to have,
68:47you know, the ability to overcome and even moving some guys around.
68:51But I, I have no, it was having a great game until the fumble that just sucked.
68:56You know, I, I thought he looked really good.
68:59Um, it was good to get live McConkie out there just from a play standpoint.
69:04Clearly he did not do enough, but I don't know what the issue is right now for Herbert.
69:09He's not stepping into his throws. He just looks, you know, confused.
69:13You know, you, this, this week's game is going to be very telling for him because Buffalo's defense stinks.
69:19And so can he go out there and have success against them after just playing what we thought were going to be
69:26two miserable defenses in the Cardinals and the Raiders, and he has not taken advantage of it.
69:31So you gotta, I think as the Herbert manager, explore Bryce Young for sure.
69:36Maybe some other quarterbacks that we'll see on, on the waiver work.
69:39Cause there's going to be some guys that are dropped after some, some poor performances.
69:44But, uh, I know for me, I have Herbert in three or four leagues and I'm not happy at all with what I've seen.
69:52Are they the first team in NFL history to lose 26 to 14 in each of the first two games of the season?
69:59That's such an odd score. I mean, if anyone would know it'd be you, that's just an odd score.
70:05I thought it was really strange that it ended up 26 to 14 again.
70:09Okay. Oh, and two origami. Heath, do you, do you win or like, do you feel good if the Chargers go two
70:16and 15, but their two wins are against the chiefs?
70:19Yes. 100%. Perfectly fine. That would be, yes. You know, I also feel good about that as Chargers fans.
70:25Oh yeah. They won two Superbowls that year. Win two Superbowls in one year.
70:30Sure. So I also want to mention that you said the interior of their offensive line, the, on the broadcast, when Max
70:37Crosby got held in the end zone for the safety play by play guy said a nightmare day for Joe alt continues or something like that.
70:45So he apparently had a terrible day against Max Crosby.
70:48Okay. Um, I, yeah, it's not just Crosby for the Raiders, by the way, Koontz had a sack and a half in this game.
70:56They got after, uh, they got after it last week too.
70:59This defense might actually be halfway decent. Drop or hold Quentin Johnston.
71:03Hold. Okay. But I, I kind of don't know why.
71:06I mean, five targets isn't bad. That led the Chargers did.
71:10We know that he's a robust type of wide receiver.
71:13Last joke. Not really a joke, but like just last poking.
71:16Like it's Jamie mentioned next week at Buffalo. It's at Seattle after that.
71:20And then it's Denver. And then it's at Kansas city.
71:23They may not want, they may not want a game going into their bike.
71:28What's the over under on their wins going into their bike.
71:31I mean, like the thing is if they get things right, they're obviously going to a team that can beat good teams.
71:38Obviously. They are proving that throughout the history. They went to the playoffs last year, man.
71:43They were like, come on. You got to hope that they catch Seattle still with drew lock.
71:49And that gives them a chance in that one.
71:51They're not going to be Buffalo unless Buffalo just completely bleeps to bed.
71:55All right. Let's, let's go on here. They need to fix their line.
72:00Nothing changes until they fix their line. And that's the problem on the offensive side.
72:04Denver 20 Jacksonville 13. Uh, he did not like, uh, Trevor Lawrence this week and he scored 6.2 fantasy points.
72:11Yeah. Great call. Yeah. Um, yeah, I thought, uh, it's weird.
72:14I thought it was kind of weird actually. Cause I thought their offense looked better than their final production.
72:20Like it kind of looked like they, like Lawrence could get Parker Washington whenever he wanted.
72:25And it kind of looked like facial toot and could get six yards whenever he wanted.
72:30And so it was kind of weird how they ended up scoring 13 points and not scoring any touchdowns.
72:36Watching the game with, uh, Pete Prisco, who, you know, knows the Jaguars as well as anybody.
72:41He said right after it happened, they're going to lose the game on the Chris Rodriguez goal line.
72:47Uh, play. Yeah. Because tootin had had the touchdown earlier.
72:50Tootin was running well. You bring in, you know, a different running back throws off.
72:55I think some of the pace, you know, and then listen, that's their game plan.
73:00That's their offense. They're going to use a short yarders guy.
73:03But like, I think you're right, Heath. Like you, you, you're correct me if I'm wrong, but I think your narrative was
73:10angry Broncos defense coming off a loss, you know, slow down the Jaguars offense.
73:15And, you know, the interception was, you know, one thing for, for Lawrence, but it felt like they still were moving up
73:21and down the field, you know, and just didn't get the production that you need to get to win a game on the road like that.
73:30So, um, yeah, it was just interesting, you know, observation there that you, you change, you change your backfield and you do
73:37what you think is right for your team. And it, you know, sometimes that doesn't work.
73:42It's probably also worth looking into what the Broncos did differently in the second half, because Lawrence at halftime, 12 of 17 passing 138 yards, no turnovers.
73:50So not in, in no touchdowns either, obviously, but at least he had gotten off to that good stuff that you talked about, Heath.
73:58And then 57 yards in the second half completed five passes out of doing the math in my head, I guess it's 12.
74:05Yeah. That's a really bad second half. Yeah. And Brian Thomas jr.
74:09Was only started in 12% of leagues. And I think people knew to sit him, but he was not shadowed by Patrick Sertan.
74:16I don't think anybody was, he just stunk. Anyway, he's got, he's got drops issues for sure.
74:21He's in purgatory and he's got new England next week.
74:24So that's, that's tough. Then new England at Cincinnati, Philadelphia.
74:28Houston. I did talk about this before the season started.
74:31I thought Brian Thomas jr. Had the worst schedule of any wide receiver in the NFL.
74:36And I don't know if he's going to get that kind of, maybe the good news is he hasn't played well enough
74:43to get the treatment of Carlton Davis or, um, they go DJ Turner or whoever for Philadelphia, Houston, whatever, but it's still not a good schedule.
74:51It's not a good schedule for Lawrence, but you know, um, we'll see.
74:55Okay. Like, you know, okay. I'm not ready to drop him.
74:58Cause he turned it up in the second half.
75:01He was better in the second half. So kind of curious to see where this goes from here, but he's drop a bull.
75:08You don't have to keep drop a bull. Sure.
75:11Yeah. Yeah. If you're, if you're a one QB guy and you just only carry one quarterback and Bryce Young's on the waiver wire.
75:19Sure. Sayonara. Bo Nix. Yes. Of course. Seattle 31, Arizona seven.
75:22Uh, yes. Chris, Jonah's the number one priority. Jonah Coleman.
75:25Yes. Not Jonah Amstetter. Yeah. I don't know if I agree just because I don't think Dobbins and Harvey are long-term injuries.
75:32That's my only. Who cares if they are? It's amazing.
75:36But I don't think they are. If it's one week, it's amazing.
75:39Well, but that's part of the, it's the Rams next week.
75:43It's the Rams. Rams. All right. Seattle 31, Arizona seven thoughts on the running backs in this game.
75:48If I tell you Jadari and price, I'm going to throw Bejal Tootin in there from last game and Jeremiah love.
75:55How would you rank them rest of season right now?
75:58Price healthy. Yeah. Let's say price is healthy. I know he had the chest injury, but let's say he's healthy.
76:05I almost want to put love first, then Tootin, then price.
76:08And it's all with a look toward November and December.
76:11Yeah, I would agree. Once Charbonnet is back, it could be bad for price.
76:16So I would go the same order. Okay. And it's still another week where it's a lot of Tyler Algier.
76:22Too much Tyler Algier. 64% of the snaps, almost every third down snap.
76:26Almost every snap inside of 10. Like, it's not cool what the Cardinals are doing.
76:31But I guess I get it. And not the best efficiency game for love either.
76:35Jeremiah love. Okay, sorry. Jacoby Brissette really had 95 yards passing today, by the way.
76:4095. That's wild. All right. Seattle's good. Seattle's great.
76:43They make you throw it short, short, short, short, short.
76:46And San Francisco might be really good, too. We'll see.
76:49It's next week for them. Then Giants, Lions. You know, some good matchups, some bad matchups along the way for Brissette.
76:56San Francisco. If he's still their quarterback. San Francisco 35, Miami 13.
77:00And then we'll have Dallas and Washington. Do you think...
77:03Let's just do this. You know, obviously there's an easy no if Mike Evans is hurt.
77:08But if Evans, Kittle, and McCaffrey are all... And Debo Samuel are all healthy.
77:12Do you think it's going to be kind of a frustrating ride rostering these 49ers?
77:17Heath? I mean, I don't think they're all going to be good every week.
77:21But I think that they can be good enough like two out of three weeks.
77:26But it's... I don't know if I'd go quite as far as frustrating.
77:30Like Brock Purdy looked like... His stats look like he played a high school football game this weekend.
77:36And he was awesome in week one also. Just did whatever he wanted.
77:40And so, yeah, I think it won't be surprising if one guy gets left out a week.
77:45But I think they're all still going to be good enough to just start him.
77:50How often will it be three out of the four?
77:53And you almost have to... I mean, how often is it three guys on the same team in the receiving court?
78:00Yeah, that's the point. It's kind of rare. But how often do we start three guys on...
78:05Well, whenever you factor in the tight end, the tight end is almost always starting.
78:10So when you have an elite tight end, which they do, he's going to be in your starting lineup.
78:16The question comes down to really, I think, is Debo Samuel going to be in your lineup?
78:21Because Mike Evans is healthy. Unless he just has a stretch of games that he's terrible, you're going to start to bench him.
78:28So in three receiver leagues, he's definitely going to be starting.
78:32In two receiver leagues, he's most likely going to be starting.
78:35The one that was a letdown today was Debo.
78:38Just because you were to say... If you were to say going into it, hey, Dolphins, no strippling, and Evans gets hurt,
78:45I would have said, sign me up for that player all day long.
78:49And Demarcus Robinson got hurt. And Demarcus Robinson, yeah.
78:52Okay, how about last question on this? No, two more questions.
78:55One, drop or hold Caleb Douglas? Quiet game today.
78:58Drop. Yeah, that turned sour real quick. Devon A-chan, 23 touches.
79:02Buy, sell, hold. Devon A-chan. Hold. Hold. It's a hold.
79:05Dallas, 37. Washington, 20. Who's the best commander's receiver rest of season?
79:09I'm going to say McLaurin. I guess the fact that we're thinking about it this long tells you something.
79:15Sure. I don't know if it tells you more about Diggs or McLaurin.
79:19But here's an example of a player that you're hopeful for because they get a lot of targets.
79:24And so what did the commanders do a week after McLaurin really didn't see a lot of targets?
79:30They gave him nine. And he just couldn't make anything happen.
79:34And three almost touchdowns. I mean, you've got to figure that he's probably...
79:38I wish one of the almost touchdowns would have come from what might be their best quarterback in Antonio Williams.
79:44Antonio Williams, right? Honestly, I don't know if anyone's buying Stefan Diggs, but I might want to try to sell it.
79:51He's just not playing enough as of right now.
79:53I don't really think that's going to change. I think he's playing enough to be what he was last year.
80:00Maybe. Because people were going to see the touchdowns in back-to-back games and say, oh, I know the name.
80:06Clearly, there's a wild card to all this because we don't know what Mariota is going to do for this offense from
80:13the standpoint of he's never played with Diggs. And now there's that wrinkle of it.
80:17So is Diggs going to be the one he prefers?
80:20I don't know. I mean, I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to it.
80:25I think they're both wide receiver threes. You clearly see what the upside of McLaurin is.
80:30He could have had a monster game today, and then it would be a no-brainer.
80:35But last week was kind of telling as well.
80:38I guess once we find out what Jaden Daniels' prognosis is and when he's going to return, that can determine some things also.
80:45So it's a small sample size, but McLaurin led the way in targets from Mariota with five.
80:50Dayami Brown had four. Four. Diggs, White, Antonio Williams, three each.
80:54Any concerns about George Pickens? Six catches for 40 yards.
80:57He's still a must-start guy, but he probably goes from borderline wide receiver one to mid-tier wide receiver two.
81:03And they have Baltimore next week? And you get...
81:06And you get... After that. You had the... This was the Jake Ferguson week.
81:10Next week, it could go back to two for seven like we saw in week one.
81:15You know, so when he scores touchdowns, it's probably somebody's going to get left out.
81:20It was... You know, CeeDee Lamb was a monster, and George Pickens was just not...
81:25I would buy low. Yeah. You guys saw the mouthpiece stuff?
81:28Yeah. That was pretty wild. I did not. What happened?
81:31During the Giants game, George Pickens was not... It wasn't every single play like this, but a lot of plays, he would
81:38have his mouthpiece out on run plays and put his mouthpiece in on pass plays.
81:43Oh. Yeah. It was wild. It was wild. They even asked...
81:46Schottenheimer, I think, was on a radio show or a podcast and was asked about it.
81:51Okay. Anyway, that's it for the show. We're hoping for good news for Alec Pierce.
81:56As we did this show, he was carted off the field, so hopefully he comes back next week.
82:02Too many carts today. Too many carts. Absolutely. Rough week for injuries.
