Aaron Jones

NegativeValue18:49

Aaron Jones is a potential trade target, though his value is currently high relative to his draft position, making him a solid starter if acquired.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeUsage20:35

Alvin Kamara has seen zero snaps inside the 10-yard line and only one third-down snap this season, limiting his fantasy upside.

Insight page
PositiveValue69:25

In a trade evaluation, Year Up United's suggests that acquiring Alvin Kamara and Ladd McConkey in exchange for Parker Washington is a favorable move, rating the trade as an 'F' for the side giving up Kamara.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

PositiveValue70:27

In a trade involving Nico Collins, DJ Moore, and Scadaboo for Bijan Robinson and AJ Brown, Year Up United's confirms that the side receiving Bijan Robinson wins the trade.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeValue19:23

Breece Hall is a high-value asset who is unlikely to be traded at a discount, despite a tough defensive schedule ahead.

Insight page

Bryce Young

NegativeProjection10:31

Bryce Young's performance is declining, largely due to the offensive line unraveling following Damian Lewis's elbow injury.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeBust25:02

Bucky Irving is a sell-high candidate because the Buccaneers' offense faces a tough schedule and Jalen Daniels' tendency to run may reduce running back targets.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveValue13:40

Chase Brown is a preferred buy-low running back, though he remains expensive and requires trading with a running-back-rich manager to acquire.

Insight page
PositiveValue71:05

Chase Brown is identified as a high-priority target for managers looking to trade away a top-tier quarterback like Josh Allen, with Year Up United's ranking him higher than other potential RB1 returns.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveValue69:28

In a trade involving Chris Olave, Jeremiah Love, and Tyler Warren for Devante Smith, Saquon Barkley, and Nico Collins, Year Up United's expresses a slight preference for the side receiving Olave, noting the trade is very even.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveBreakout50:23

Christian Watson is performing as a top-12 wide receiver, currently sitting at WR4. He is seeing an outstanding target share, averaging 9.7 targets per game. Year Up United's believes he could remain a top-10 wide receiver for the rest of the season if the Packers maintain their pass-heavy approach.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveValue55:22

Chuba Hubbard has emerged as a reliable fantasy asset and is now viewed as an RB1 for the rest of the season. He took over the lead back role for the Panthers following Jonathan Brooks' injury and has looked impressive, providing significant value to managers who drafted him late.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveBust38:52

Colston Loveland is viewed as a major disappointment and a potential bust candidate. While he was a popular breakout pick, his fantasy value has cratered due to the emergence of Kalief Raymond, who has carved out a consistent role in the Bears' offense. Loveland is being dropped in 10-team leagues, and with the quarterback situation currently in flux, he is not considered a 'screaming buy-low' candidate.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveValue15:16

DJ Moore is a buy-low target following a shoulder injury, with consistent target volume (8 and 10 targets in healthy games) suggesting better production ahead.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveValue32:16

D'Andre Swift is a preferred trade target over Saquon Barkley, as he has secured a larger workload while others have been injured.

Insight page
PositiveValue70:34

DeAndre Swift is considered a strong return in trades, specifically when moving players like Tony Pollard and DJ Moore, or when trading a high-end quarterback like Josh Allen.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeBust28:59

Davante Adams is a sell-high candidate, as his current elite production is expected to decline once Puka Nacua returns to the field.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeUsage42:06

The analysts express concern regarding DK Metcalf's usage and performance, noting that he has struggled against top cornerbacks like Christian Gonzalez and DJ Turner. While his targets have remained consistent, he is failing to convert them into catches, leading to frustration despite the lack of defensive shying away from him.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup63:45

DK Metcalf is a flex-range play for the upcoming game. While he has struggled to break 50 yards in games this year and faces potential shadowing from Denzel Ward, he remains a viable flex option due to the Browns' tendency to play single-high coverage, which historically benefits him.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

NegativeBust33:43

Harold Fannin is a sell-high candidate because his recent touchdowns were fluky and he was not the primary target on those plays.

Insight page
NegativeUsage66:58

Harold Fannin Jr. is a borderline starting tight end. While he has been productive, he is not currently a top-12 tight end for Year Up United's, who prefers players like Waller and Likely depending on practice reports.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

NegativeUsage63:45

Likely is a concern for fantasy managers due to uncertainty in the Giants' passing game and his need to build chemistry with Jameis Winston after previously prepping with Jackson Dart. While he had a 10-target game, his recent usage has been inconsistent, and he is considered a 'start with caution' option until he shows more production. The upcoming matchups against Arizona and Washington are viewed as 'prove-it' games for the entire Giants offense.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveSleeper49:10

Jalen Coker is highlighted as a potential steal of the draft. Before his injury, he was outproducing teammates and performing like a top-20 wide receiver, showing strong chemistry with Bryce Young.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection46:48

Jalen Hurts is viewed as a disappointment relative to his high draft capital, with analysts noting a decline in fantasy points per game over three consecutive weeks and a significant drop in rushing attempts (averaging 5.3 per game compared to higher historical marks). While he is still averaging over 20 fantasy points, concerns persist regarding the new offensive scheme, his lack of play-action usage, and the team's high three-and-out rate.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeUsage9:02

Jameson Williams is struggling to produce because Jared Goff is forced to take check-downs due to opponents playing deep coverage against the Lions.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeInjury8:48

Jaden Daniels is delaying elbow surgery until the off-season, though his status for the upcoming London game against the Colts remains uncertain.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveValue61:04

Despite two disappointing games out of three, analysts are buying Jalen Waddle due to his seven-target performance in Week 3 and an improving Broncos offense. While he has faced tough cornerbacks, his future schedule is viewed as favorable, and he is seen as having plenty of upside as a WR2.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveUsage60:35

Jalen Warren is the primary start for the Steelers-Browns game. He is a borderline RB1, though his value would shift to a mid-range RB2 if Rico Dattel returns to the lineup. Warren has shown efficiency, including 127 yards on 17 carries against the Bengals, and faces a Browns defense that struggles against the run.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeValue6:54

Jalen Wright's FAAB value is highly volatile, with bids ranging from 5% to 35% across different leagues.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeValue70:55

For managers holding both Josh Allen and Brock Purdy, trading Allen for an RB1 is a viable strategy. Target returns include Chase Brown, Kyren Williams, or Breece Hall, with David Montgomery also mentioned as a realistic return.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveValue70:40

Trading Bucky Irving and Tee Higgins for Josh Jacobs and Drake London is generally discouraged by Year Up United's, who rates the move as a 'C-'.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

PositiveValue52:32

Kalief Raymond is considered a major waiver wire steal. He has become a consistent part of the Bears' offense, averaging seven targets per game with a 91% catch rate. He is viewed as a top-20 per-game receiver and a must-add player.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveSleeper22:32

Keaton Mitchell is an explosive, low-cost target who could potentially earn more touches in the Chargers' offense, similar to Devon Achane's role under Mike McDaniel.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeBust47:23

Kyle Pitts is labeled as a major bust candidate. Despite his high salary, he remains completely uninvolved in the offense, and his production has been inconsistent, with only four good games out of a 13-game sample size with his current quarterback.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeProjection66:20

Nabers is currently viewed with higher concern than Isaiah Likely on the 'worry-o-meter' due to the overall poor outlook for the Giants' offense. The team is projected to be one of the worst offenses in the NFL for the remainder of the season, which limits the upside for all pass-catchers involved.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon

PositiveValue5:25

Ollie Gordon is a high-priority waiver wire target, with FAAB bids in FFT Open leagues frequently reaching 30% or more of the budget.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeInjury69:54

There is significant uncertainty regarding Puka Nacua's return timeline, which makes trading him away in packages for players like George Pickens and Jalen Warren a difficult decision for fantasy managers.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeUsage20:38

Quinshawn Judkins is seeing consistent volume with 17+ touches per game, though he has yet to break through to the 15 PPR point range.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveSleeper20:54

RJ Harvey is a cheap, low-cost acquisition who receives targets and benefits from a favorable schedule, serving as a viable RB2 option.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeProjection4:06

Saquon Barkley has recorded 9, 3, and 9 PPR points in his first three games, making him a consistent but low-ceiling producer in decimal scoring leagues.

Insight page
NegativeUsage53:53

Heath Cummings expresses concern about Saquon Barkley's role, specifically his limited route participation (27% in Week 1, 45% in Week 3) compared to last year. With Dallas Goedert's return expected to further squeeze his involvement, there is worry that Barkley will not provide the production expected of a second-round pick, especially given his lack of passing game usage.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveValue13:14

Heath Cummings identifies Terry McLaurin as a buy-low candidate, noting that he will improve despite a poor start averaging under 10 PPR points per game.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveValue20:23

Travis Etienne's trade value is at a low point due to injury, making him a potential buy-low candidate.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeUsage62:56

Tucker Craft is averaging a 14% target share, which is a concern, but analysts note the sample size is small and he is playing in an offense where Jordan Love frequently throws over 40 times per game. There is uncertainty regarding his current form and ability to produce consistently.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveSleeper22:10

Woody Marks is a cheap running back option who has shown involvement in the two-minute offense and goal-line work.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveBreakout68:03

Despite a small sample size, Zay Flowers is showing elite efficiency with 9.4 yards per route run. While historical data on Ravens receivers with high yards-per-route-run metrics is mixed, Flowers is trending toward being a 'league winner' similar to JSN or Puka Nacua, despite the team's offensive evolution.

1:48What a play! It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
1:51Off to the races, and he stays on his feet!
1:54So here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
1:58Worryometer Wednesday! Ooh! And it's almost Halloween month, Heath.
2:00Get the decorations out! All right! I'm so excited.
2:03Yeah, what's up? And Dave, with his White Sox shirt, congratulations!
2:07Well, nothing to congratulate the White Sox on yet.
2:10One win is nice, but two wins against Houston on the road would be great.
2:14Hey, man, it's baseball season. I've always been a baseball guy.
2:18It's everything season. It's hockey season. The Panthers won yesterday in their season opener, but it's also football season, and it's Worryometer
2:25season, and we're going to put Lad McConkie and Omarion Hampton on the Worryometer.
2:29We're going to put Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley on the Worryometer.
2:33We're going to give you buy lows and sell highs and someone that we think is going to be a huge bust,
2:40someone that we think is going to be the steal of fantasy drafts, and oh, man, I've got...
2:46Good morning, Jamie. Good morning. I've got an amazing Saquon Barkley stat.
2:50For those of you who are worried, you should know that Saquon Barkley has scored nine, three, and nine PPR fantasy points.
2:57In my opinion, he's the first running back ever to score whole numbers, round numbers, in each of his first three games in a decimal scoring league.
3:05Remember when that used to not be common? Yes.
3:08Or like when we didn't have decimal scoring and like everybody just always scored regular numbers?
3:13Right, and there was no good argument for it because I tried to make the argument for rounding and not decimal, and
3:20I decided mid-argument that I was stupid. Well, Saquon Barkley is on quite a streak.
3:25Quick fab check here. I was looking at, let's see, four or five of the FFT Open divisions to give any of
3:32you who still have waivers tonight an idea of what these guys are going for, and Ollie Gordon went for 30 or more dollars.
3:40Now, FFT Open's a little bit different because the playoffs, like you basically don't have to spend any fab after week 15,
3:47so you can be a little bit more aggressive.
3:49Maybe you deduct a few bucks from this, but Ollie Gordon went for 31, 40, 30, 22, and unclaimed in Thomas's division.
3:56No one put a bid in for Ollie Gordon.
3:59That's amazing. They put a $5 bid in for Jalen Wright.
4:03Thomas just picked up Ollie Gordon as a free agent five minutes ago, but for the most part, let's say 30% from
4:10what I saw in the five leagues, you know, roughly, for Ollie Gordon.
4:14Jalen Wright, 29, 35, 16, 5, and 10, so that one was all over the place.
4:19Kenyon Sadiq was in the 15 to 17 range.
4:22Kalief Raymond was very wide variety, like in the 15 to 17 range, down to six here.
4:27I'm not even sure he was picked up in all of the leagues, but the Dolphins running backs, if you're still going
4:34tonight to do your bids, I think maybe be realistically, I would say in the 30% range.
4:40Yeah. I got text from somebody, $75 for Ollie Gordon and $7 for Jalen Wright, same league.
4:45Wow. Different managers, I assume? Yeah. Yeah. All right.
4:48We'll see how, some people are going to be pretty angry.
4:51I think so. I think everybody's going to be angry.
4:55All right. Let's do some news and notes. I think the people that bid low and didn't get them are going to end up being pretty happy.
5:03I was going to say, don't be angry if you don't get them and don't hear what Adam just said and think,
5:10okay, I need to go bid 40% to make sure I get Ollie Gordon.
5:15Yeah. Yeah. Right. I was just telling you what you should maybe expect, but that doesn't mean that we would do it
5:22because, I mean, like for the Dolphins, it's just such a brutal schedule and two tough games and a bye week.
5:28That's just sucks. All right. News and notes. Jaden Daniels reportedly putting off elbow surgery until the off season and we'll see
5:35if he's able to play this week against the Colts in London.
5:39I thought it was interesting. Jared Goff said that the Lions are calling for deep throws, but opponents are playing with so
5:46much depth that Goff is just taking the check downs.
5:49So it's not great for Jameson Williams. Maybe things change.
5:52Welcome to 2024 through now. Yeah. I just, the fact that he said, hey, we're trying to get these deep balls, just not working, not, not there.
6:01Carolina had some bad injury news. Damian Lewis left guard.
6:04He's out a few weeks with an elbow injury and JC Horn is going to be out there starting with their best cornerback and a guy.
6:12Is Mike Jackson out too, Adam? Do we, do we hear anything?
6:16I know he got hurt. I don't know his status for this.
6:20Right. They might be going straight to second string corners on the outside.
6:24Yeah. As soon as this week against Detroit, you know, there for Detroit this week, the Damian Lewis injury, it was bad
6:31in the second, he left in the second quarter last week.
6:35And that's when things really started to unravel for the offensive line for Carolina.
6:39And that, I think that's the number one reason why Bryce young kind of fell apart last week.
6:45And it's making me nervous for Bryce young moving forward too.
6:48I think it's a great point and it kind of relates to Ben Roethlisberger because we're going to talk about Aaron Rogers,
6:55Aaron Rogers, I'm going to talk about that game today.
6:58You know what? How about Terry Bradshaw? Where does, where does this mean for Bubby Brister?
7:04I was going Bubby Brister too. It was my next stupid joke.
7:07Mark Malone. Aaron Rogers passing. I don't know who that is.
7:11Cordell Stewart. You know who Mark Malone is? I know Carl Malone.
7:15He did not play quarterback for the Steelers. Anyway, Aaron Rogers has been holding the ball a lot longer, throwing the ball a lot deeper.
7:23Well, that's what the, that's what the Panthers do, right?
7:26That's their identity this year. And the Browns last week had the number one pressure rate in the NFL.
7:32And it certainly affected Bryce show. They were getting there with four guys too.
7:36Meanwhile. Yeah. Yeah. Not a very high blitz rate.
7:39Meanwhile, Joey Porter could play this week for the Steelers, but Jalen Ramsey's question was they're playing Thursday.
7:45Jalen Ramsey's questionable with a broken wrist that he played through in week three.
7:49Let's get to the fun stuff. Fill in the blank.
7:52My favorite by low is blank Heath. I'll go with Ted Oroa McMillan.
7:57I think coming off of a very bad game, averaging less than 10 PPR fantasy points per game, even if it's the
8:04same Panthers as last year in terms of the past game success, he's going to be better than he's been so far.
8:11All right. Dave. I've got a whole, I did nothing but look at running backs for by low.
8:16So I don't have any by lows at any other position.
8:20The most expensive by low that is my favorite is Chase Brown, who hasn't done great to start the season.
8:26You're going to have to pay up a lot for him.
8:30Your people are still going to ask for like first round value for him, but maybe they'll settle for second round value depends on how desperate they are.
8:39And there's, there's a ton of caveats when you're trading for a running back at this point, but he would be the
8:46absolute diamond to get at running back. If you can get any running back in trade, who's at least remotely a by low candidate.
8:53I know you spent a lot of time on it.
8:56So do you want to just run through a couple of two?
9:00I'm going to need more than like a minute.
9:03Two minutes on the clock. Give me the, we should let Jamie do his by low before.
9:08Why don't you let Jamie do this? Cause Jamie might have somebody on my by low list.
9:14Okay. Go ahead, Jamie. By low DJ more. Not on my list.
9:18Okay. What, what do you like about him? Oh, I mean, look, he had the game where he left with the shoulder injury.
9:25The targets were there for him in week three.
9:28Josh Allen's coming off a bad game. You know, I think he's still obviously going to get chances to be productive and
9:35this might be as cheap as you can get him.
9:38All right. Yeah. 10 targets for DJ more. He's not running as many routes as I'd like, but he's certainly getting targeted.
9:45He had eight in week one and 10 in week three.
9:48So that's pretty damn good for his two healthy games.
9:52Yep. But, but let me ask you this about him.
9:55He gets new England this week and the Rams next week.
9:58Is this the time to buy low on DJ more?
10:01It depends on what your record is and what you have to give up for him.
10:07It's not like you're probably have to pay a hefty price.
10:10And if he does do well in these two games, then you're going to be regretting not trading for him now.
10:17So I think his value is relatively low. He had a hundred yards and a touchdown against Houston.
10:22Should keep that in mind. All right, Dave, back to, back to you.
10:27All right. So the, this is my whole running back by low list.
10:31And the obvious caveat is a fellow manager must not need a running back in order to trade for him.
10:37So if you're trying to trade with a manager who's got Chase Brown, but the rest of his running backs absolutely suck
10:44unless you're offering running backs in return, you're not going to get Chase Brown.
10:49So you really need to find a running back rich fantasy manager in your league to trade for almost any of these running backs.
10:56Chase Brown and Saquon Barkley kind of the obvious by low guys, just based on how they've started the year.
11:03I think they can turn it around. I'm going to talk about team running backs for a lot of this because I
11:09think it'll almost be cheaper to trade for two running backs on the same team from different fantasy managers and then you
11:16just collaborate with those running backs rest of season and you should be okay.
11:21And if you have someone on one of these teams, think about getting the other guy.
11:26I'm going to start with the Vikings running backs.
11:29Go look at their schedule. Tell me their tough matchups the rest of the season.
11:34Think about their offensive line and then think about how much it's going to cost you to get Aaron Jones or Jordan Mason.
11:41Mason's on the shelf. Aaron Jones is old. Right now his value is pretty high relative to where you drafted Aaron Jones.
11:48I still think it's a good deal to try and get one or both of those running backs.
11:54If you've got them both, you've got a starter pretty much every week moving forward.
11:58Same thing with the Jets running backs. That's going to be costlier because no one's going to take a discount on Brees Hall.
12:06Brees had two very good games to start the year.
12:09I think he can still keep it up. Maybe he does average more than 15 PPR points for the year.
12:15We'll see, but that's another team. Tough defensive matchups rest of season, including the playoff weeks, but you can deal with that later.
12:23The Saints running backs. Travis HN's value is not going to get much lower than this because he's injured and I think
12:30you might be able to squeeze by with Kendra Miller and Travis HN instead of Kamara.
12:35Kamara has no snaps inside the 10 this year.
12:38He has one third down snap this year. Quinshawn Judkins, tough schedule ahead, but he's getting the work, 17 touches per game or more, but the team's competitive.
12:46His two best games are 9.8 and 9.9 PPR points.
12:50He can score eventually and then he breaks through to that 15 PPR point range.
12:54RJ Harvey's the next one. This is a weird one because he's not going to be the feature back for Denver unless J.K.
13:02Dobbins gets hurt really soon, but he's averaging more PPR points per game than Dobbins.
13:06He gets targets, doesn't work at the goal line, but the schedule seems pretty favorable for Denver rest of the season.
13:13He's the first cheapie type of running back that if you're really in a pinch and say you whiffed on a Dolphins
13:20running back off the waiver wire, you shouldn't have to give up much to acquire RJ Harvey and even teams that are
13:27a little running back needy might give up RJ Harvey.
13:30Same thing for Woody Marks. I know that Montgomery had three touchdowns in week one.
13:35He's had 6.8 or fewer PPR points in week two and week three.
13:39Woody Marks is at 8.5 and 9.1. Again, another cheapie.
13:42He had a goal line touchdown in the two minute offense last week.
13:46There is some tough schedules to add for him.
13:49And then last but not least, this Chargers offense is a total quagmire.
13:53Nobody is excited about them at all, but I think Keaton Mitchell could put a little lightning, no pun intended, or maybe I did intend to this offense.
14:02offense. I think he's certainly more explosive than Omari and Hampton.
14:06We saw him get a play inside the five last week.
14:09I think he could make inroads on Omari and Hampton's touches and we've talked about it before.
14:15Mike McDaniel, for everything that he did with the running backs in Miami, one thing he did was lean heavily on an
14:22undersized back in Devon HM and we saw HM put up huge numbers.
14:26Keaton Mitchell might be able to follow suit. So those last three, RJ Harvey, Woody Marks, Keaton Mitchell, cheap running backs that
14:33you could go and acquire without having to give up too much in trade and they'll give you something.
14:39I don't think that they're going to go and give you 15 plus PPR points per week.
14:44I'm not saying that they're going to be league winners, but they are going to help you at least get an RB2-ish
14:51in your lineup if you're desperate for that position.
14:54Okay. A lot of names there and a lot of different values.
14:58My favorite sell high is blank Heath. Your favorite sell high is Heath?
15:02I would sell high. I'm going to go with Bucky Irving.
15:06There you go. We're not going to talk about selling me.
15:09Listen, fantastic draft value so far. Has looked good.
15:12It's been a two-back system and really it's almost been a one-back system because Kenneth Gainwell hasn't been near as involved as we think.
15:20But this Bucs situation is not very good. And now with Jalen Daniels at quarterback, I would expect we're going to get fewer running back targets.
15:28We talk about this all the time. Guys that run as much as we think Jalen Daniels is going to run generally
15:35don't throw to their running backs as much. He's kind of that one read and take off kind of guy which might
15:42be fun to watch for a week or two.
15:45But the real problem with that is that like they've got the Packers and the Cowboys the next two weeks.
15:51This is supposed to be like let Bucky eat time.
15:54I'm not sure the Cowboys run defense is actually that bad.
15:58And so I think the next couple weeks might be tough and then the schedule gets tougher after that.
16:04But so listen Bucky's a borderline RB1 right now in terms of how he's produced.
16:08So I want to get like what can I add to Bucky Irving not a whole lot and go get Chase Brown
16:15like Dave said or what can I do to turn him into a borderline RB1 value.
16:21All right. I'm going to try to do this right now.
16:24I'm going to make a trade of Bucky Irving and someone for Chase Brown and we'll see how it goes.
16:30Let me know what it is. I'll put it on the trade chart.
16:35Hey, can I ask Keith something real quick? All that.
16:38You've watched a lot of Jalen Daniels because he played in Kansas Heath.
16:42Can you give us like the quick scouting report on him?
16:45Throw real far run real fast. I kind of like that.
16:49Can you throw real accurate and run in the contact?
16:52You know, I think his accuracy in terms of like throwing it where he intends to throw it's pretty good.
16:58I think he's going to struggle in terms of reading NFL defenses and seeing the safety maybe.
17:04Yeah, he's struggled a little bit with interceptions too, but he is extremely fast and he has a good arm and he
17:11generally speaking looks pretty composed in the pocket. But again, it's kind of is the first read there?
17:16Great. Let it rip. Is it not? Let's go.
17:19Let's run. Do you think he'll help the efficiency of the running backs in Tampa?
17:24Rushing efficiency? Maybe a little. I mean, I don't think he's going to this first week because the teams are just going
17:31to fly to the line of scrimmage until he proves that they can't.
17:35Okay. Thank you. All right, Jamie, who's your favorite so high?
17:39Same guy. I think he said last week, Devante Adams.
17:42He's been awesome. I think he'll still be very good.
17:45He's doing this without Puka. You know, so if you can convince somebody that his name is still going to be as
17:52great, his production is still going to be as great, it's got to be somebody that's not paying attention so closely, but
17:59if you can still turn Devante Adams into something great, I would do that right now.
18:04Would you turn Devante Adams into Saquon Barkley? 100%.
18:07Oh, yeah. Really? It's that easy? Yeah. I mean, look, Devante is playing out of his mind right now.
18:13He's still showing that he's one of the best receivers in the game.
18:17He's still showing why he's going to be a Hall of Famer, but he's not going to do this when Puka's on the field.
18:25But he was better than Adams that he was better than Barkley last year.
18:29Yeah, but it's position scarcity. So you can use somebody like Barkley probably more so than you can use Adams.
18:36And I know that's weird to say, but when Adams goes back to what I think his role is going to be,
18:43I don't think it's going to be as productive as it is.
18:46It's not going to be anywhere close to what it is right now.
18:51It's obvious. But it's the hope that Barkley can turn things around.
18:54He's running well. It's just that he's not getting new fantasy points.
18:58And I think we saw it really good with Adams, but he scored 50% more fantasy points when Adams was gone.
19:05Yeah, like it was from 20 fantasy points per game to 30 fantasy points per game.
19:10six of his 10 touchdowns. I think also the, you know, hard to say because it was the Australia game and they
19:17look bad, but the small sample size of their goal line 13 personnel package was Puka not Devante.
19:23Absolutely. Yep. That was a big concern. I just he's played so well the last two weeks.
19:28And I don't know. I have some concerns about Barkley, the player, but Barkley, the fantasy player.
19:33But we can talk about that a little bit.
19:36Like I would 100% take DeAndre Swift for Devante Adams coming off of, you know, I don't know if it was like
19:43a bad game for Swift, but I think the last two haven't been amazing.
19:48I can't remember, but I'm very high on DeAndre Swift.
19:51You know, I would take that. I would take Swift over Barkley.
19:55Would you guys? Not there yet. They are very close in the trade chart.
19:59They are two spots apart, but Barkley still carries a little bit more weight.
20:04I'd still rather have Swift. Go ahead. I think Swift has gotten a larger share of the workload early on because Mononga hasn't been fully healthy.
20:12And I'm still kind of expecting if Mononga is healthy in the second half, it's going to go back to the one drive apiece.
20:20Okay. Dave, we'll go to break after this. Who's your favorite?
20:23So high. The only one I wrote down was Harold Fannin because both of his touchdowns last week were a little bit fluky.
20:30He was like third or fourth in the progression.
20:33The plays that they scored on, he wasn't the primary.
20:36Watson wasn't pressured on one of the two. And then the second one, he was pressured and he just moved out of
20:43the way and Harold Fannin was right place, right time.
20:47The two games before weren't very good. And you can still find a tight end off the waiver wire.
20:53I don't know if you can get Sadiq or Waller anymore, but you can still find another tight end to replace Fannin.
21:00So he just had a good game. I do think he can be more consistent if Shador Sanders plays, but I don't
21:07know when that's going to be at this point.
21:09The Browns are two and one. Watson's playing okay.
21:12So if you can get anything for Fannin, I would do it.
21:16All right, we'll take a quick break and we'll come back tell you who we think is just going to be a
21:23huge bust this year based on the first three weeks and who's going to be the steal of the draft and who's
21:30going to be worth starting in the Cleveland Pittsburgh game tomorrow night.
21:34We'll be right back on Fantasy Football today. I'm going to talk to you right now about Omaha Steaks and this is

23:32So, fill in the blank. It feels like blank is going to be a huge bust.
23:37Jamie? Colson Loveland? I mean, it's so disappointing. Yeah, that's the point of this is to really say like, don't buy low basically.
23:44You know, I mean, not necessarily, but it's not a screaming buy low, right?
23:49I mean, that's the thing. What do you think about Loveland?
23:52No, it's not a screaming buy low. I mean, first off, the quarterback is hurt and I know Case Keenan played well,
23:59but you know, look, he looked amazing last season with Caleb Williams.
24:03I think there's still plenty of upside for all the Bears pass catchers with Caleb there.
24:08So, that's part of it. you, we all went into this thinking, oh, it's going to be Loveland and or Loveland Burden and or Loveland Burden Odunze.
24:17That's it. And now there's an and with Kalief Raymond who's, you know, been so involved and I don't think is going
24:24away as you've talked a lot about. So... Kalief Raymond.
24:27Thank you. There's just, you know, you're seeing him dropped now and I get it.
24:31It sucks. You know, I saw him dropped in the 10-team league last week.
24:36I picked him up. You know, Waver's run tonight.
24:39It's a small bench. I'm probably going to have to drop him.
24:43I have Bowers in that league, so it's not worth rostering Colston Loveland, which just sucks.
24:48It just absolutely sucks. Like, this was, this was, I think, everybody's favorite breakout candidate this year.
24:53You know, no matter who you talk to. It was, you know, whether you liked him or loved him, there was obviously
25:00people that were concerned and make sense. But I think the majority of fantasy analysts, fantasy managers were looking at this guy
25:07as a potential superstar and hopefully it still happens, but it just doesn't feel like that's going to be the case.
25:14Dave, I feel like, or it feels like blank is going to be a huge bust.
25:19I've got a bunch of names and certainly Romo Dunze would qualify as another guy.
25:24Let me give you the three names and then we can talk about the one you like the best.
25:30Chris Godwin is one. Ashton Gentry. There's another one that's actually made me kind of nervous.
25:35I think I'm actually just going to stop there between those two.
25:39What do you think we're going to choose? Godwin or Gentry?
25:42I think everybody kind of sees it with Godwin, especially with the quarterback change.
25:46What were some of the stats that really worried us about Ashton Gentry last year?
25:51Yeah, we, so we did this on beyond the box where he has the same yards before contact as he did last year.
25:59And he had that great week one. It all came on the strength of what he did as a pass catcher.
26:05He still has zero rushing touchdowns this year. 3.3 yards per carry.
26:09These are simple stats, but we started to see Mike Washington run a little bit better last week.
26:15And the words that Rand Carthon said that Jamie told us about, about how he thinks Washington's a better fit than Gentry in this offense.
26:23Coupled with the fact that Gentry got hurt during a practice late August.
26:27It it's making me a little squeamish about what to expect from Gentry moving forward.
26:32And if we're, if we're in a world where running back values are sky high right now and people are willing to
26:39give up a lot to get a brand name running back like Ashton Gentry, maybe you consider it because he just really
26:46has certainly he's getting double digit PPR points. He doesn't look the part as a runner the last two weeks.
26:52Um, and it, it makes me nervous that he could end up being a bus this year despite the big week one.
26:59Yeah. He also had his lowest target per out run rate of the year by far with Brock Bowers back.
27:05However, I mean, there, I kind of feel like with Gentry, the time, if you agree, like worst case scenario is last year.
27:13I mean, which is still an RB two, right?
27:15You know, and you're not saying he's a total buzzer.
27:19You said if you can get a huge value for him, but the way Dan and I kind of says like he
27:26gets so much work that he could end up playing like a first rounder, but at worst, he's probably going to play like a second rounder.
27:34I mean, the best thing that happened that prevented him from being the clear and obvious biggest bust was the ankle injury
27:41in the preseason because it dropped his ADP down to where we could get him in round two or in round three for a period of time.
27:49And so I think if you look at like the people who drafted him at the two, three turn may be okay.
27:56Yeah. Right. And someone said, you know, Dave, you mispronounced Omari and Hampton.
28:01And yeah, like that's a good pick also for he could be the biggest.
28:05What did I say? Oh, oh. Yeah. No, that's true.
28:08And that's somebody that I think we were all pretty excited to draft and it, it went kablooey pretty quickly in part
28:15because the offensive line for the Chargers went kablooey pretty quickly.
28:19And he doesn't get any targets. He has two targets.
28:22I think in three games. Terrible. All right. Heath, who's your biggest bust or feels like it's going to be the biggest bust.
28:29So it's kind of a, I think a new game that we should just play each off season now is like, which
28:36is, who is the one guy that Heath really likes?
28:39That's going to be the biggest bust. Um, it's Kyle Pitts this year.
28:43Um, just, I don't understand at all how this confluence of events has come to be.
28:49The Cooper rush excuse was really nice for the first two weeks.
28:52I listen, it's probably going to be the worst contract in football.
28:56I don't know why they would give him all that money and then use him in this way.
29:02It's not as if he's a great blocker and that's why you're paying him.
29:06Um, just completely uninvolved. Somebody said he was dropped in their 10 team league.
29:11I wouldn't even move me at this point. I just look at it and feel sad.
29:16Okay. It is only one game for like with paddocks.
29:19So we'll see. We'll see. Sure. But now we've got a 13 game sample.
29:23He's been good in four of the 13 with paddocks.
29:27I know. Kyle fool me. Just wait till next year, Michael.
29:30He's still only, he's still only 25. You're going to, you're going to do a full one 80 if Drake London misses time too.
29:38So it's hopefully he's still on the waiver wire when that happens.
29:42All right, let's do this one quickly here. We'll go.
29:45Blank is, I feel like blank is going to be the steel of the fantasy draft.
29:50Jamie. Uh, I hope he's healthy, but Jalen Coker, um, you know, he's been so good so far, um, last week, not,
29:57you know, counting with the injury, but like the first two games, he was out producing Ted Earl McMillan and, you know,
30:04performing like a top 20 wide receiver and you see the way Bryce young has played and just hope to see him,
30:11you know, not miss any time with the injury or have to play through an injury.
30:16So he's been, uh, he's been really good so far.
30:19I hope it continues. Heath. I feel like I got this one.
30:23Christian Watson currently, I think we had a talk this summer where we said, you know, if, if everything goes, she'll go, goes right.
30:31What's the upside for Christian Watson? And we said top 12 wide receiver and he's currently wide receiver four just outstanding target share.
30:38We, I've heard more multiple people, multiple people talk about how Matthew golden's leading this team in targets.
30:44Well, it's 10 targets per game for golden. That's 9.7 for Watson.
30:47Like this is exactly what we wanted. Matt LaFleur saw the light or was forced to do it.
30:53And, uh, I, he may be a top 10 wide receiver rest of season.
30:58You kind of don't want them to get another running back, right?
31:01You want them to just stick with this pass heavy plan so that even, even if they do, even if they do,
31:08like if Christian Watson's getting eight targets a week, it's going to be awesome.
31:13I, I would like to have another player to use.
31:16So I'd like them to get a run back.
31:19The thing is, I mean, I don't disagree. Just looking at his player page right now, his target, his target share in
31:26three games, Christian Watson, 20%, 38%, 20%. You know, it's, it's probably got to be higher than 20% unless Jordan Love keeps throwing this much.
31:34I mean, he's had two games just like 40 something or more to pass.
31:3842 or more passes in two games. Yeah. Well, they have a bad defense and no run game.
31:44So, yeah, I mean, it could happen. It could happen.
31:47Um, yeah, I mean, you could also nominate Matthew Golden for this, uh, draft.
31:52Dave, who do you got? Wiz Khalif Raymond, who nobody drafted and we're just now picking up in week three.
31:58Can you be the steal of the draft if you weren't drafted Dave?
32:02Well, then you're going to be the steal of the waiver wire because I don't think the role is slowing down in Chicago.
32:09And that's a, that's a, he's a top 20 per game receiver.
32:13You think so? I mean, he's 32 years old.
32:16This is crazy. It's crazy. What's happening. You think he's really going to be, and look, I, I don't disagree.
32:22I, I put in pretty aggressive bids for him.
32:25Yeah. I was pretty irritated by that in our, in our league.
32:29Seven targets per game. Oh, oh, in our, in our, did we get him?
32:34He has seven targets. Let's go. Seven targets per game.
32:37And he's catching 91% of his targets. How much did I bet?
32:40I bet like 50. Great. Oh, Thomas in the chat with the, the, the great, no, great, no, great team name.
32:47You're great. Great team name. You're doing it again.
32:50You're greater lading me again. I, I already said everybody hates Raymond.
32:54I said that like three weeks never heard that, but great team name, Thomas.
32:58I will give you credit for that all year long.
33:01Come on, Thomas, man. You're better than that. I'm going to name a team like that and just put all rights reserve
33:08Thomas after can, can I name one other guy besides Raymond?
33:12Sure. Cause I mean, this is, this might be the right.
33:15Wait, no. Were they drafted? Yes. This person was drafted.
33:19Yes. In fact, he was, this will be your answer.
33:22In fact, he was left for dead on the side of the road and people who just were like, well, I need a running back.
33:30And it's round 10 took Chuba Hubbard and he's, he's just, he's looked really, really good.
33:35And things have just turned out right for him because Jonathan Brooks shocker got hurt and he's from the jump.
33:41He was the Panthers guy running back all along.
33:44So I feel like a fool for having Brooks ranked ahead of Chuba Hubbard, but I also took Chuba Hubbard in a
33:51couple of leagues as bench depth and he's absolutely saving my bacon in a number of leagues.
33:56And now I think you've got to view him as an RB one rest of season.
34:02Okay. Well now I'm just thinking about bacon. Corey has a question.
34:05Khalif Raymond or Jerry Rice? Oh, I mean, it's gotta be Raymond at this point.
34:10I mean, what did Jerry Rice really do? Yeah.
34:13Oh, I thought we were talking about Jerry Rice today and I'm, I'm really not sure.
34:18There's a new show that we'd like for you to check out.
34:22Make sure you check out NFL play action from executive producer, Josh Allen.
34:26He makes an appearance on this show from time to time and go beyond the sidelines with hosts Kyle Brandt and Ali love.
34:33This is where football meets culture every Wednesday streaming on Paramount plus new episode drops tonight and, and I'm on it.
34:40Yeah. And it's really fun. Yeah, you are. And we film in the old TRL studio, which is like every, that's like
34:47the first thing everyone says about the show and it's in the old TRL studio, which is just really cool.
34:53Uh, very in Times Square. Um, but it's fun.
34:56We're having a good time. And if you think they make fun of me on this show, you should see what they
35:03do to me on, on, uh, NFL play action.
35:06Uh, tonight's episode is going to be a doozy.
35:09All right. Email of the day is from Steve question.
35:12Three colleges have two or more wide receivers in the top 15 in the NFL in yards so far.
35:18Again, three colleges have two or more wide receivers in the top 15 in the NFL in yards.
35:24Yeah. Which colleges are they? Oh, state has to be one of them.
35:28Now I was, I haven't fact checked, so I'm going to just trust Steve.
35:32Uh, yes. Ohio state has JSN, Olave and Garrett Wilson.
35:36Uh, LSU is there. Not LSU. No. Uh, USC.
35:38USC has Drake London and St. Brown. Okay. And, uh, Holy Cross.
35:42You're such a cheater. Yes. Holy Cross. Jalen Coker and Kalief Raymond.
35:46Amazing trivia. All roads lead to Kalief Raymond. I shouldn't have put the question in the notes, but, um, yeah, that's such a great trivia question.
35:54Thank you, Steve. And he is a Holy Cross graduate, a proud Holy Cross graduate.
35:59Dave Pittsburgh is at Cleveland. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
36:03Uh, the stat of the game, I already gave it.
36:06Aaron Rogers is holding the ball much longer. Only 35% of his passes have been in less than 2.5 seconds.
36:13It's usually 50% or higher each of the previous four seasons.
36:16A dots way up, not throwing to the running backs as much, but again, it didn't really work for Bryce young last
36:23week because the Browns had the highest pressure rate in the NFL in week three.
36:28So will that work for Aaron Rogers this week?
36:31Uh, Jamie, who do we want, like need to start in this game?
36:35I think there's only one guy and that's Jalen Warren.
36:38Um, you know, the, the receivers are starters and three receiver leagues.
36:42I think just looking at Denzel Boston and potentially DK Metcalf.
36:45Um, I think you can, if you've been starting Harold fan and yes, the touchdowns were fluky to some degree last week,
36:52but he'd also got you 10 PPR points the week before.
36:56So he's in the borderline starting range. Um, the Steelers DST would still be in play for me, but that, and even
37:03the Browns, I guess, you know, but I don't know if you consider the Browns must start, but I think just from
37:10a skill position standpoint, it's Jalen Warren and nothing else.
37:13No one else. What do we think? Well, what's the deal with Rico Dattel?
37:18Does he have a chance to play? He's mispracticed so far.
37:21I'm going to guess we get a designation of, of questionable at best.
37:25So at this point I'm anticipating him not playing.
37:28Right. Rico doubt. So what if he plays? So how would that change?
37:32Heath, how would that change your ranking of Jalen Warren?
37:35Warren would go from a borderline RB one to a mid range RB two.
37:40He's been a lot better than Rico Dattel so far.
37:43And I don't think with Dattel not practicing this week, they're going to bring him back to a big workload.
37:49They maybe just spell Jalen Warren a little bit.
37:52He's another one. You can make a case for a great traffic.
37:56Hope so. Yeah. Look, Warren Warren averaged almost four yards per carry against New England, which is actually quite an accomplishment.
38:03And then 127 yards on 17 carries against the Bengals.
38:06And now the Browns giving up 4.8 yards per carry to running backs.
38:10And consistently every week they've been below average in that, in that metric.
38:14So excited to start Jalen Warren this week, but Warren or Barkley Warren, Warren unless Dattel plays Yes.
38:20Then it'd be really close. Agreed. Dave, who's your favorite wide receiver in this game?
38:25It's DK Metcalf, but it's in the flex range and it has to do with how the Browns have been playing.
38:31A lot of single eye coverage. That's usually a good thing for DK Metcalf.
38:36Rogers is going to need to get the ball out quick.
38:39We talked about how the Browns impacted Carolina's offense last week.
38:43They're going to do the same thing again. They played 77 snaps on Sunday, so they could be a little tired.
38:49And I wonder if the Steelers can get a little bit of an edge there and catch them a little bit, not at a hundred percent.
38:58And Metcalf has been weird. Like, I don't think he even has a game this year with 50 yards and he needed
39:05a little bit of luck to score last week.
39:08I think there's a rational argument to be made that he can finally break through to like 60 yards and still maybe
39:15score a touchdown and catch five balls along the way.
39:18I still think he's going to be a decent flex play.
39:21Yeah, man. This game's, you know, could get a surprise, but it's not what feels very Thursday night football football.
39:28What about what about Judkins Heath? How do you feel about Judkins this week?
39:32Pittsburgh giving up 4.33 yards per carry to running backs, not much there.
39:3618 carries last week for Judkins. He's a high end flex.
39:40Hopefully he scores a touchdown. Hopefully he gets maybe three targets.
39:43I don't want to start him, but I would start him over both of the Dolphins.
39:48I would start him over both of the Saints.
39:51I would start him over both of the Patriots.
39:54I would start him over both of the Commanders.
39:57I would start him over all of the Seahawks.
40:00I would start him over all of the Broncos.
40:02Would you start him over? So you might have to.
40:06DK Metcalf? Definitely in everything but full PPR. Full PPR, I have Judkins just ahead of DK Metcalf.
40:11So yes, he's the best flex in this game.
40:14Maybe the second best start in this game. Harold Fannin Jr.?
40:18How are we feeling about Harold Fannin Jr.? number two tight end?
40:22I've written about it a couple of times already this week, but tight end is the most insane position right now.
40:28I think we have 17 tight ends averaging double digit fantasy points per game, including Harold Fannin.
40:34I'm okay starting him. He's not a top 12 guy for me.
40:37Waller and Sadiq ahead of him? Waller, yeah. Well, they're both, that's the hard thing.
40:42Like practice reports today will probably dictate that for me.
40:45I'm going to be less certain about Waller over him as Coker ruled out.
40:50No. We're ranking it that way. Right. But if Coker gets in a partial practice or if Adonai Mitchell's fine, then I'll probably have Fannin over those guys.
40:59That's fair. What about guys like, who sucked at tight end lately?
41:03Likely, Kraft, Pitts. Where does Fannin? Pitts is not in my ranking.
41:06Things. Likely, not in your ranking. Likely, he's ahead of Fannin.
41:10Okay. Okay. I agree. Let's see if we have a chat.
41:13I'm trying to motivate Kyle Pitts, Dave. By the way, who do you, do you like, do you think either Deshaun Watson
41:20or Aaron Rodgers get 20 fantasy points this week?
41:23No. I think it's reasonable that they could both get there.
41:27They could. I wouldn't expect them to. And we could say that for 18 other quarterbacks.
41:32So, yeah. I don't think their ceiling is nearly as high as other quarterbacks.
41:36I would set them. I've got Watson over Rodgers.
41:39Okay. Yes, too. Watson's been running. You know, DK, this poor DK Metcalf, man.
41:44He just can't escape these good cornerbacks. Last two weeks, he's been shadowed by Christian Gonzalez and DJ Turner.
41:50Turner. He did score a touchdown when Turner collided with his teammate.
41:53But, you know, Denzel Ward is not usually a guy who moves.
41:57And he actually did last week against Ted Roll McMillan, not shadowing him, but played on the other side of the field much more than he usually does.
42:06And is he going to do that again? Is DK Metcalf going to be shadowed by a really good cornerback again?
42:13I mean, it makes sense if you're looking at it like it's...
42:17But he never... But Denzel Ward basically never does that.
42:20And he did last week, which unusual. And they have a new defensive coordinator.
42:24Right. I think that's part of it. So it might happen.
42:28Did he follow Brian Thomas in week one at all?
42:31No. No. Yeah. Not that you need to. Brian Thomas got hurt in that game too, but no.
42:37He really didn't move from one cornerback spot. And he didn't in week two either.
42:41And he did in week three. So it makes you nervous, I think, about DK.
42:46I don't think the corners have been DK's problem this year.
42:50Not the number one problem. I do. I do.
42:52I mean, not the only problem, but most guys struggle against Christian Gonzalez and some struggle against DJ Turner.
42:59It's not easy. I don't think Aaron Rodgers is going to shy away from throwing to Metcalf just because Denzel Ward is covering him.
43:06Nope. Yeah, I don't know. Well, he hasn't shied away from throwing to him when the other guys have been covering him.
43:13I mean, his targets have been there for him.
43:16He's just not catching the ball. Yeah, well, that's part of it is also the defense that the defenders that are on him.
43:23But... I don't have a ton of... I don't have a ton of questions for this game from the chat.
43:30Is the Casey Concepcion breakout incoming? Breakout's hard to see.
43:33Breakout... Go ahead. No, I... In the league where I share the FFT Open team, we have Casey Concepcion on the bench,
43:40and there was a question about dropping him for one of these waiver wire guys, and I don't...
43:46I'm not ready to drop him yet. So, I'm still hopeful.
43:49But... Yeah. We need something. I feel the same way.
43:52And the target volume being up is great, but they're all little targets.
43:56They're the thing that I was counting on when I was hyping him up in August.
44:01And he's just not catching him. He's not coming through on them.
44:05He might be another guy that we need to just wait for Shudder Sanders, which is so silly.
44:11And I don't know if we're going to see Shudder anytime soon.
44:15So, I think it could be time. He's certainly droppable.
44:18Let's just put it that way. And there's no way I could be convinced to start him.
44:23Okay. But he did play more. He ran the most routes that he's run all season.
44:28So, you don't have to drop him. Let's go quicker.
44:32Concepcion or Chris Bell rest of season? I'd rather try Bell.
44:35Concepcion. I'd still go Concepcion. Harold Fannin Jr. or Isaiah Likely this week?
44:39Likely. Likely. Likely. Denzel Boston or Jordan Addison? Addison.
44:42Either way. Addison. Deshaun Watson or Justin Herbert? Watson.
44:45Marcus Mariota. I've got him back-to-back. Marcus Mariota. Enough.
44:48That's the right answer. That's 100% true. And Sam Darnold's the second answer.
44:52But if you miss both those guys, for me, it's Watson.
44:55I'd start Daniel Jones over both of them, too.
44:58Yeah, I was just thinking somebody that's rostered in like under 20% of leagues is Mariota.
45:03All right. Last question about the DSTs. Jamie, are we starting both DSTs?
45:08I would, yeah. Steelers over the Browns. But, you know, the Steelers have looked good at times.
45:13They've looked miserable at times as well. And the Browns' defense was very good the last two weeks.
45:19You know, it's not just what they did against the Panthers, what they did against the Bucs as well in week two.
45:26So I think they're in play. And I know Deshaun Watson has played much better than we anticipated since, you know, the second half of week one.
45:34But the Steelers are still going to get pressure on him and we'll see how he does in that regard.
45:41Because I think the Panthers' defense kind of fell apart last week with injuries.
45:45They were injured coming into the game and then got worse.
45:49So I don't know if that's an indication of just how good the Browns may or may not be or Watson may or may not be.
45:57So this is going to be as tough as tests at least since week one.
46:02All right. That's it for Thursday Night Football. Na-na-na-na-na-na-na.
46:04Yeah! And when we come back, how worried are we about Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley and Omari and Hampton and who else on this list here?
46:13Lad McConkie, Jalen Waddell, Tucker Craft. We'll be right back with the Worry-O-Meter.
46:17Man, if you played offensive line in the NFL at some point, the Packers will sign you.
46:23Yeah, they just signed Kevin Zeitler. They're signing all these older or not necessarily the veteran offensive linemen with a lot of
46:29experience to do anything to shore up that line.
46:32Okay. We're worried about the Packers offensive line for sure, but how worried are we about the Eagles?
46:38Ben wants us to put Jalen Hurts on the Worry-O-Meter from zero to 100.
46:43Dave, you get the first word. What's your number for Jalen Hurts?
46:4624%. Heath? 18. Jamie? 35. All right. That's probably about 26 on the Worry-O-Meter and then somewhere around there.
46:52Do you want me to do the math from now on?
46:56No, I think people enjoy my terrible math. Okay.
46:59So 18. I want you both to do it and just see the difference.
47:03So Adam says it and then, okay, no calculators, no calculators.
47:07I got it right, by the way, 25.7. So I got it right.
47:11Yeah. Good job. Why are we not that worried?
47:14He really hasn't looked that good. You know, late touchdown against Tennessee and tore up Washington, but who doesn't?
47:20And he only threw for 203 yards in that game.
47:23Like, why are we not that worried? Heath, you're never that worried about Jalen Hurts.
47:28Yeah. Well, first off, you don't draft Jalen Hurts for his aesthetic as a passer.
47:32Second off, he's averaging 21 fantasy points per game.
47:35That's not that good. This day and age? Right.
47:38But we don't put somebody way high on the worry-ometer because he's averaging 21 fantasy points per game.
47:44I think we do when he's faced... One good game and it's fine.
47:48But he's faced Washington, Tennessee, and Chicago. If he were a great quarterback, he'd probably be averaging closer to 28 points per game.
47:55That's hyperbole. But that's what I would expect from prime Jalen Hurts.
47:59He's also not... I don't know if we're ever going to get that guy again.
48:04It just feels like that guy... You may get a game here or there.
48:08I don't know if we're going to get it consistently.
48:11The offense doesn't seem like it's working again. I don't know if it's just more offensive line injuries because they're missing one person.
48:19They're missing Dallas Goddard. We continue to make excuses for Jalen Hurts in fantasy.
48:23I know he gets a lot of crap, too much crap in reality for a guy that's won the Super Bowl.
48:30It's... The decline five years in a row of his fantasy points per game.
48:34The decline three games in a row of his fantasy points per game this season.
48:39I wrote the start sit already for the quarterbacks and I have him as the bustler for this week, mostly because I'm not going to replace him.
48:48I don't think you go and start Mariota or Brissett or any of these guys over Jalen Hurts yet.
48:54I don't think anybody should be at that point.
48:57Like he said, he's still averaging over 20 points per game.
49:00But we're just getting to this point of at some point you may have to consider replacing him or have to consider
49:07somebody who has more upside or start streaming. Not that you're cutting him, but benching him to the point where there is
49:14somebody that can get you 23 or 24 points.
49:17So I don't know if it's just Goddard not being there and how he looked.
49:22And I'll go back to what I said on Tuesday's show.
49:25If he doesn't get knocked out and he gets you that touchdown, you feel a lot better about where he's at across the board.
49:33So just take that into account. It's just, he's just not playing very well right now.
49:38And that's the frustrating part. Do you think part of it could be the new offense?
49:43Yeah. That he's just not quite, you know, he's played three games in this new offense that he's never had to learn before.
49:50I'll ask Scott Turner about it. I'll talk to Scott today.
49:54And I mean, you would think by at this point, he would be a little quicker at learning new offenses.
50:00He has to do it every year. Not really, because the offenses that he had before this year were kind of similar.
50:07And this one is like a total overall. You know, I mean, he's learning.
50:12He's learning Makai Lemon. He doesn't have Goddard for at least this last game, you know, getting Earths back, you know, and
50:19Earths had a horrible block on what was, you know, set up to be a big play on a wide receiver screen.
50:26And there's just a lot of things that moving parts.
50:29It's just it's kind of been the norm for him because of some of these situations with offense coordinators and and again, a few different changes in personnel.
50:38But it's just I don't think you're getting the return on investment you were hoping for if you drafted him as a top five or six guy.
50:46That's true. I'm not worried. I just want to move on here.
50:50I just I need to point out he's he's averaging 5.3 carries per game and he used to be more like 10.
50:57So this is a huge development. It's only three games, but last year he didn't run that much either.
51:03It was 6.6 rush attempts per game. So I think the days of like the you know, seven 800 yards rushing from
51:10Jalen Hurts are probably over and I do think that we need to we need to factor that in.
51:16Go ahead. Could he hit his stride starting in week five?
51:20The schedule gets great. It's Jacksonville. That's in England and Carolina matchup.
51:23They haven't right here and be like it's a great matchup.
51:27Okay. Carolina after that Washington, the Giants and then even after that it's pretty good until you get to the face.
51:34Washington, Tennessee and Chicago. They are Washington. Tennessee is terrible.
51:37They are top five in three and out rate.
51:40They have not been a good offense. They barely have the ball.
51:43Two of the last two of their three games have had the ball for like less than 24 minutes.
51:49They are a struggling offense right now. He should have had two interceptions.
51:54He had one terrible one. He should have had almost the exact same play.
51:58I'm not that worried. I think they'll turn it around but like we're kind of missing the point.
52:04They have had an easy schedule and they are 29th in three and out rate.
52:09Go look at the teams that are at the bottom of three and out or like the worst three and out rate.
52:16You don't want the Eagles on that list. That is a crappy crappy list.
52:20They got to get better and they have the lowest play action rate in the NFL.
52:25too by the way. You got loud over that.
52:28Yeah it was really confusing. I just think I just feel like Jalen Hurd.
52:32Do we have a shout meter? This is like an 85 on the shout.
52:37This happened in week one. I was like Jalen Hurd had this good game but it really looked a little clunky and
52:44why are you always criticizing Jalen Hurd? Nobody said that.
52:47You did. You did. You gave me crap. Today?
52:50No in week one. I just think like when we're in an environment where Drake May and Justin Herbert exist and Caleb
52:57Williams and Jaden Daniels are not available like talking about worrying about sixth or seventh round Jalen Hurd's when he's averaging 21
53:04fantasy points per game like we said nobody said zero.
53:07It's a little worried. Yeah. All right. I think they'll turn it around but they need to have the ball more.
53:14They need to sustain their drives. They got to fix this three and out very passionate.
53:19This sounds like somebody who's angry about Devante Smith's production.
53:22No, no, no. And is really starting to get nervous.
53:25Nervous? I'm done being nervous. I'm resigned to my fate.
53:28Okay. Face or fate? By the way, I have a good Zay flower stat.
53:33Do you know what his yards per route run is?
53:36It's huge. Yeah, it's over nine. Insane. I haven't found anything even close to that.
53:41Like just looking at the first two weeks of a season because he's only played two games.
53:46So anyway, we'll come back to that. We'll come back.
53:49Worryometer for Saquon Barkley zero to 10 or zero to 100.
53:53Jamie, you can start zero to 100 on Barkley.
53:5621. Dave? 42. Okay. I was going to say 16.
53:59Oh, geez. That's hard. I'm going to go 24 is the average there.
54:03Okay. That, that, okay. That's not a, that's not a bad guess.
54:07It's 26.3. You did that in your head? Yeah.
54:10Oh, that's terrific. I should just, it's really like the easiest math in the world.
54:14You just add the numbers. Yeah. It's three numbers and then divide by three.
54:19I'm doing it the hard way here. Um, all right.
54:22Uh, who you were the highest teeth. Why are you the most worried about Barkley?
54:27Well, first off, Saquon Barkley was around two pick.
54:30And so I think like the, the bar of what we're expecting for production, is much, much higher.
54:35And I don't like the fact if you just look at week one and week three, the two weeks that he played
54:42mostly the full game, he ran 23 routes. Devante Smith ran 63.
54:46Um, I don't think this, I mean, he was awesome against the bears.
54:50I think the bears run defense is a lot worse than their past defense.
54:55Um, he was awesome against the bears on a per carry basis, but I'm not sure that he's going to have much
55:02of a role in the passing game. He's still going to lose one yard carries and maybe two yard carries after the
55:09way they looked running the ball on short and short yardage, um, to Jalen hurts.
55:13And so I'm, I'm worried about him not being worth the second round pick.
55:18Okay. He was wide open on a screen pass early in that game and Jalen hurts overthrew it.
55:24Um, but still it's two targets in every game.
55:26Now I barely played in one of them. You're right that the route participation rate was 61% last year.
55:33It was 27% in week one and 45% in week three.
55:36So still like nowhere near what it was in 2020.
55:39And I think probably the difference between week one and week three is Dallas Goddard was there in week one and Dallas Goddard wasn't there in week three.
55:48Um, I, I think like when Goddard comes back, he's going to be even less involved.
55:53All right, let's go to the next one here.
55:56That's, that's the worst case scenario for sake one Barkley.
55:59The other guys weren't as worried. Um, I'm worried about Khalif Raymond being the wide receiver one for the bears.
56:06So he's, he doesn't lead them in targets anymore.
56:08That's currently Luther burden, but it's very close. How worried are you about, I guess I would say Khalif Raymond's role, uh,
56:15you know, on Chicago, Dave I'm worried about his role worried about how his role impacts the other bears.
56:21Yeah. That, uh, yeah, I'm worried about his role impacting other bears.
56:25So put me at 75%. Jamie, when one bears door opens up another window, um, am I worried about him impacting the other bears players?
56:33Is that what it is? Yeah. What's, what's your worryometer for that?
56:37I'm worried about this question being wonky. Um, well, it's not, it's not even the question that was asked.
56:43Adam's like just turning it into something else because he knew we wouldn't get high enough on the scale for the real question.
56:50No, no, I think it is. I mean, it's Khalif Raymond as the bears.
56:55You can just read the words. I know, but it's kind of tongue in cheek.
57:00I mean, like it's, it's about the other players.
57:02It's, you know, it's about the other guys. So shouldn't we do a worryometer for burden, Loveland, or Dunze?
57:08Sure. But we don't have that graphic. So it's 45.
57:12What? 45. 45. Oh, okay. Um, 25. Oh, okay.
57:15One 20. One. I don't know what I'm answering.
57:17It's almost 50%. Yeah. 48, 48 is something. 49, 48.
57:21It was 48.3. Yeah. 48. Um, all right. Yeah.
57:23I look, we already talked about it, but we are concerned about Khalif Raymond having some staying power and impacting the other guys.
57:31Maddie says, I'm worried that my team will be too good following the Jeremiah love breakout and we'll take all the suspense out of fantasy football.
57:39So yeah, I mean, stop. This is ridiculous. Well, how, how, um, how worried are you that you, if you don't have
57:46Jeremiah love, like, Oh, this guy's going to wreck my league.
57:49Uh, 10. No, I mean, I think Jeremiah love is a guy that I wish I, I, I had on any of my teams.
57:57I'm annoyed that I don't. I think, uh, the fact that his role was so good and it, he's clearly taken over as the lead back.
58:05He's going to be awesome. All right, whatever. Let's go to the next one.
58:10That was more for fun. That one was fun.
58:13It was a lot of fun. That was so much fun.
58:16All right. Pat's this is from Pat's pens pirates.
58:19Those are his favorite teams. This Twitter fought this Twitter user, lad McConkie.
58:23Where are you? I'm around. He knows that Mark Malone is probably 46% on lad 4235.
58:28You couldn't just say 44. All right. It's going to be about 41, right?
58:3341 Heath. Exactly. 41. There we go. This isn't going to be fun if Adam's going to be right on all these averages.
58:40Yeah, it did pretty, it did pretty well at the math version of the math SATs.
58:45Not so much on the English as I think you all can figure out.
58:50But McConkie, I mentioned this on Monday show. You don't want on this horrible offensive line.
58:55You don't want him to have the highest average route depth of his career.
58:59And like he's running much deeper downfield. That's not the lad McConkie we know.
59:04And it's not supposed to be this offense either.
59:06But, you know. All right. Discuss Dave. Discuss your concerns of lad McConkie.
59:11It's because the Chargers offense is ugly and I don't know how quickly they can turn it around to the degree we
59:17hope for when we were drafting Chargers a little more than a month ago.
59:22Can he still be relevant in fantasy and be a quality number two fantasy receiver?
59:27Yeah. But can he be a number one? I worry about that.
59:31And I do think his role needs to change.
59:33I think he needs to get healthier too. But he's part of the pathway for the Chargers to at least be like
59:40a functional offense for the rest of the season.
59:43Jamie, any thoughts on McConkie? It's definitely been frustrating against the entire team.
59:47You know, so there's I think you got to be worried about the Chargers the rest of season.
59:53It's just been a complete failure so far based on the expectations.
59:57That being said, he has one, I think, one very good game in week one.
60:02One very disappointing game in week two. And then week three, you know, fighting his way through this rib injury.
60:08We'll see how just if that's something that's, you know, plaguing him.
60:12Really, I think it's just more of a Justin Herbert, Mike McDaniel problem that is impacting Lad McConkie.
60:18If he gets the targets, I think he'll be productive.
60:21So the schedule coming up is not exactly ideal, but I don't I'm not benching Lad McConkie anytime soon.
60:27The yards per route run are still great. The target per route run is kind of gross.
60:32Can Lad McConkie straight up get me Chuba Hubbard or Cam Scadaboo?
60:36That's a chat question. I would not be trading Chuba Hubbard for Lad McConkie right now.
60:41I would consider it for Scadaboo. Closer for Scadaboo, but I don't know if you're even going to get that.
60:47I would I would probably want something else alongside of it.
60:51Yeah. OK. Last one here is from Brian Burke.
60:54He has two tight ends he wants on the Worryometer.
60:57Tucker Craft and Isaiah Likely. Oh, yeah. I'm sorry.
61:00I'll skip that. You go back. We should go back to Waddle.
61:04I think you're right. I think it's a very good one.
61:07Let's let's do Waddle. Worryometer on Waddle. How much will Pat Bryant impact the production of Dylan Waddle?
61:13What's your Worryometer on Waddle? Did you see Pat Bryant admitting that he flopped?
61:17No. I think he admitted that he flopped on the interception.
61:21Yeah. I thought watching it live. It was a great.
61:24Well, it wasn't an interception. No, it was an interception.
61:27They got called a P. Well, yes. But I mean, yeah, that play.
61:31Yeah. Such a good. Such a great interception. That's what the NFL needs his flop.
61:36Waddle would be 25. I'll go a little lower.
61:3920. Uh, 36. 22 and a half. I don't like that he showed up to some event in a walking boot.
61:46Yeah. That's not cool. I've I'm not doing this math.
61:4927.5, 28, 27. There will be no point fives when you're dividing by.
61:53Oh yeah. Yeah. Point three. Yeah. Um, 27. I'm just spitballing here.
61:57Not that worried. All right. Two bad games out of three, but at least he had seven targets last week against the Rams.
62:04I think it says something that he's had bad numbers when defenses have put like quality corners on him and tried to lock them up.
62:12And I do think the Broncos offense has clearly moved on from where they, from what they looked like in week one,
62:19because they look terrible in week one and they've looked better since.
62:23Schedule get easier. I'm, I'm kind of buying waddle.
62:26I already have them on a bunch of teams.
62:28Well, I mean, it looked horrible in the first half last week.
62:32They did. And they came around in the second half, but waddle wasn't a part of that in part because he saw
62:39a lot of, uh, of, uh, Trent McDuffie. I don't know how many great corners are in their future.
62:45They play Seattle in a few weeks. That'll be a disaster, but short of that, I still think he's got plenty of upside.
62:53Number two receiver. Okay. Should we do craft and likely?
62:56Yeah. All right. Craft. Uh, like 15, 60, Ooh, 15, 31, 60.
63:00What'd you say? 31. Okay. It's going to be in that range.
63:03Let's see. 31, 45. Uh, yeah. So that's going to be like 34, 35.3.
63:08Yeah. That's what I said. And that's Tucker craft.
63:11Um, I don't know what he's got a 14% target share.
63:14That's problem, but this is a small sample size, right?
63:17I mean, he could have, he could have a great game only a guy that has a huge read and got two
63:24games where Jordan love is throwing the ball over 40 times.
63:28So I think the targets will continue to be there for him.
63:32And I think he'll start to produce. I think so.
63:35Like the target share Tucker crafts, never really been a target share guy.
63:39Yeah. Um, 20% last year or something. He's only averaging five and a half yards after catch per reception.
63:45We need him to, to, to run. Well, that's the thing that I can't figure out.
63:50I try to watch the tape and I can't really give you an answer.
63:55Is he the same guy or is he still, is he still rounding into form after 20?
64:00See how I really don't know the answer to that.
64:03So that could be part of it. But again, it's all small sample stuff here.
64:08I say a likely zero to 100. 15, 30.
64:11I'm going to go a little higher. 40%. Uh, 14, uh, 33.
64:15No, no, no, no, no, not even close. 23.
64:17Okay. Right. 23, 22.7. Yeah. Okay. So that's Isaiah likely 23% on the worry.
64:22I mean, who is the highest Dave? I think it was me.
64:26Yeah. Yeah. He talked this week about how he had spent so much time prepping with Jackson Dart and getting on the same page of Jackson dart.
64:34Now he's got to do it all over again with Jameis Winston.
64:38And we don't even know if it's going to be Jameis Winston for the rest of the season after the giants traded for JJ McCarthy.
64:46I still like them. I still sort of want to start them, but I would consider some other options until I start
64:53to see it again, where likely is getting not just the good targets, but good catches and doing something with the ball.
65:00This giants offense could be pretty ugly pass wise rest of season.
65:04I just, I think when like the first game that was bad after his great week one was a 10 target game.
65:11The second quarterback and his back, right. What he was doing, right.
65:15The second game where he was bad. Yes, it was only five targets.
65:19They didn't have to throw the ball because they were playing the Titans in the rain.
65:24So I just don't, maybe that will turn out to be like indicative of something, but I'll feel much more worried about
65:31Isaiah likely if he's very bad against Arizona this week.
65:34It's a, it's a very telling matchup because I mean, look, he's not going to do what Kittle does.
65:40Kittle just did that would, that would be fantastic, but I wouldn't anticipate it.
65:45I think more of what you saw from week one where both chargers tight ends combined for 90 yards receiving and was
65:51Njoku had a big or good enough fantasy game, 10, 10 plus points.
65:56So like likely without a touchdown, I think that's the safe range for him with touchdown.
66:01He's going to be better. I think he's nailed it.
66:04Like, we don't know what this passing game is going to look like for the giants yet.
66:09Yeah. I'm really freaked out, but it's a, it's a prove it week.
66:13I mean, the next two games, Arizona and at Washington, if the giants don't look good in these two games, then I
66:20think everything we said about likely can apply to Malik neighbors.
66:24First place giants continues to say that. Yeah. The first place neighbors is much higher on the worryometer than likely is.
66:31I understand because of where you drafted him, but I'm just saying like for, for this, for the giants offense as a
66:38whole, Washington, then they're just probably going to be the, one of the worst offenses in the NFL for the rest of the season.
66:45I also worry about giving an edict of let's, let's just run the ball.
66:50Let's play it safe. Let's be conservative. Let's just do what I've always done in Baltimore and not air it out week after week after week.
66:58And that kind of goes against what Jameis is.
67:01That's perfect for JJ McCarthy, but I I'm, I'm kind of nervous with you, Adam.
67:06I'm, I'm freaking out a little bit about the upside being hit for both likely and neighbors.
67:11I want to hear the worryometer for neighbors. Does it?
67:14I don't, I don't know if there is a perfect for JJ McCarthy.
67:18I think the giants defense is going to put Jameis in some situations where he gets to be Jameis.
67:24And I don't think Harbaugh is going to get to do what he wants to do.
67:29I mean, you just lost burn. That's secondary still questionable.
67:33Like sure. Second half of games. Doesn't JJ McCarthy love his tight end.
67:37Well, I don't, I don't know. Is his tight end sitting three 15 tight end is wearing number nine.
67:43So maybe if it's tight end, he does love number nine, 15 yards farther downfield than his intended target.
67:49Then he might throw it to his tight end, but yeah, I was going to say here, Jameis just like, I'd like
67:56for Jameis to actually look like Jameis. He's, he's looked like a very old horrible quarterback so far, but there are excuses.
68:03I get it. Zay flowers is averaging 9.4 yards per outrun on 12 targets.
68:07And I went back and I looked at like any wide receiver who had, who had 12 or more targets in one
68:14in weeks, one in two, and couldn't find anything even close to 9.4 yards per outrun.
68:19But I did find a few players who were like 3.5 yards per outrun or better in this super small sample size
68:26and who didn't end up being that good. And three of them, three of them were Ravens.
68:32Rashad Bateman, Zay flowers last year was good, but 14.7 PPR fantasy points per game.
68:36Was it great? And a marquee's Brown in 2000 wasn't great.
68:4019. He wasn't, I mean, you got 14.7 points per game from Mark from Zay flowers this year.
68:46You'd be pretty upset about it because, because a lot of these guys on this list of like four or more yards
68:53per outrun in this super small sample size, they end up being JSN and Puka Nakua.
68:58They end up being league winners and that's probably where we're headed with Zay flowers.
69:02But the, the funny thing is like the busts and not busts, but the ones who just didn't even come close to sustaining it.
69:10We're Ravens. Not, not exclusively, but a lot of Ravens on that list.
69:14It's a different Ravens offense now. It is. Yeah.
69:17Great. The trade for a few minutes here to finish the show from John, give up Parker Washington, get Alvin Kamara and lad McConkie.
69:25F don't like F rather of Washington from Doug.
69:28He's three and O. He gives up Olave, Jeremiah love and Tyler Warren.
69:32He gets Devante Smith, Saquon Barkley and Nico Collins.
69:35And he has Jawan Johnson to replace Tyler Warren.
69:37Olave Warren and Jeremiah love for Devante Smith, Barkley and Nico.
69:41B minus. E, C plus. I kind of like the Olave side better.
69:45It's close. It's very even. I'm running it through the chart.
69:49See what it says. As is from Matthew, give up Puka and Kelsey, get Pickens and Jalen Warren.
69:54D. You like the Puka side better? Yeah. I mean, I'm going to give it a B.
70:00Dave's got to break the tie on that one.
70:03I'm still on the last question. The chart actually has Smith and Collins significantly higher.
70:07That's interesting. I didn't even hear the trade. Puka and Kelsey for Pickens and Jalen Warren.
70:12I think I'd take the Puka side. Oh yeah.
70:15It's tough because the whole, you know, like what happens if we don't know comes back?
70:20We don't know when Puka is coming back. Yeah.
70:23Traded Nico, DJ Moore and Scadaboo. Nico, DJ Moore and Scadaboo for B.
70:27John Robinson and AJ Brown in a 10 team league.
70:30Hey, B. John side wins from Brody. 12 team half PPR.
70:34Give up Tony Pollard and DJ Moore. Get DeAndre Swift.
70:37You win. B plus. B plus. B plus. From Dirk.
70:40Half PPR, three receivers and a flex. Give up Bucky Irving and T Higgins.
70:45Get Josh Jacobs and Drake London. Bucky and Higgins for Jacobs in London.
70:49Oh, you might have just gotten London. C minus.
70:52C minus. Yeah. I don't think you should do it.
70:55And from Jeff, I have both Josh Allen and Brock Purdy.
70:58I'm thinking about trading Allen for an RB one.
71:01What is fair return in PPR? Swift. Swift is in that range.
71:05That might get you chase Brown. I would. You know what?
71:09I, if you can do it, do it. I've got Brown higher than that on the trade chart.
71:14The range is Gentile, Kyron Williams, Brees Hall. Aim higher than that.
71:18Try and definitely try and get chase Brown. I have that pair in our draft a thon league and I was thinking
71:25about the same type of thing, but I'd probably get like Jalen Warren at best for Josh Allen because it's a bunch of analysts.
71:33Okay. Yeah. You can get David Montgomery for Josh Allen.
71:36Fantastic. I've already got J.K. Dobbins. We'll talk to you all to borrow with the AFC home games on fantasy football today.
