Aaron Rodgers

PositiveProjection34:48

Rodgers has posted back-to-back games with over 25 fantasy points. He is a strong streaming option against the Colts.

Insight page
PositiveValue54:18

Aaron Rodgers is a recommended quarterback add for the rest of the season due to a favorable upcoming schedule and his status as the clear starter in Pittsburgh.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveUsage27:31

Williams ran more than 70% of routes last week, which is encouraging. He is a viable option in three-receiver leagues if Terry McLaurin remains sidelined.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

PositiveUsage58:35

Brian Robinson has produced three quality games in a secondary role and has scored four touchdowns in his last two games, making him a viable flex option.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection49:30

C.J. Stroud has been a pleasant surprise, averaging 23.8 fantasy points in games with Nico Collins; he is a strong quarterback option despite a challenging upcoming schedule.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeRole28:42

Swift remains the 1A in the Bears' backfield, likely operating in a drive-by-drive rotation with Khalil Herbert.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

PositiveUsage64:54

Deshaun Watson remains a viable fantasy option due to his consistent rushing floor, having recorded at least 22 rushing yards in all four games this season.

Insight page

Drake London

NegativeUsage59:58

Drake London had a bad game in terms of fantasy output, though he still recorded five catches for 96 yards; the Falcons' run-heavy approach remains a concern for his ceiling.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeProjection63:59

Drake Maye looked good in his last outing and is a viable pivot back into lineups as his schedule lightens, though he remains a risk against strong pass rushes like the Raiders.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveProjection5:26

Emmanuel Wilson is a must-add waiver priority for Week 5, though analysts caution he may only be a short-term solution depending on the return timelines of other Seattle running backs.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout25:10

Wilson is a top waiver priority who could win a week; he showed elite production with 27 PPR points, similar to Kenneth Walker's playoff performance. While his value may be short-term due to other roster returns, he is a strong start against San Francisco's run defense.

Insight page
PositiveValue68:44

Emmanuel Wilson is the top waiver priority at running back, though he faces a tough 49ers run defense before a more favorable matchup against the Broncos.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveValue25:41

Brissett is Year Up United's' favorite quarterback waiver target due to his matchup and consistent floor, though he doesn't recommend spending significant FAAB on the position.

Insight page
PositiveValue30:44

Jacoby Brissett is a recommended waiver add for quarterback-needy teams, as he offers a safer floor than other options with several starters potentially missing Week 5.

Insight page
PositiveProjection62:56

Jacoby Brissett is a preferred start over C.J. Stroud, Sam Darnold, and Drake May this week, making him a top waiver priority for quarterback-needy teams.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

PositiveValue53:41

Jameis Winston is a viable low-end starter for the upcoming week against Washington, a defense that has struggled against quarterbacks; he is available in 89% of leagues.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveValue56:52

Jayden Daniels is a must-check waiver wire add, as he is rostered in only 89% of leagues and has shown startable production when healthy.

Insight page

Joe Mixon

NegativeValue4:04

Joe Mixon has passed a physical and joined the Seahawks, but analysts advise against over-prioritizing him on waivers as he is currently on the practice squad and in his 30s.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeValue62:31

Justin Herbert should be dropped in most leagues; he is rostered in 83% of leagues but is not being started, faces a tough schedule, and is dealing with a struggling offensive line.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveValue21:51

Mitchell is preferred over Will Shipley for rest-of-season value, though Shipley is the better one-week fill-in. Year Up United's likes what he sees from Mitchell with the Chargers.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveUsage5:26

Keon Coleman is a top waiver target, particularly if DJ Moore remains out. His production and playing time have spiked in games without Moore, though he faces a tough matchup against Trent McDuffie.

Insight page
NegativeValue72:27

Keon Coleman is suggested as a potential waiver add, but there is skepticism about his immediate impact, with one Year Up United's jokingly comparing him to a 'Khalif Raymond' type trap.

Insight page

Khalil Shakir

PositiveUsage5:39

Khalil Shakir is a preferred waiver add over Keon Coleman for some analysts due to his consistent slot role and favorable matchup, even if DJ Moore returns to the lineup.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveProjection34:01

Cousins has scored 19.8+ fantasy points in all four games this season. Despite a tough matchup against the Patriots, he is a viable pivot play if other options are unavailable.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveRole60:03

Kyle Pitts was benched for half the snaps in the recent game, but he is a justified hold in 79% of leagues as he is expected to see increased usage moving forward.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

PositiveValue51:51

Mark Andrews is the top tight end waiver target, as he is expected to benefit from easy targets in the offense led by Tyler Huntley.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveUsage70:57

Michael Mayer is an interesting tight end option who saw 10 targets in his last game; he is a viable flex start if the matchup conditions are right.

Insight page

Michael Penix Jr.

NegativeProjection59:54

Michael Penix Jr. looks confident and plays well, but his fantasy value is capped by low passing volume; he has not recorded a multiple-touchdown game in his two starts.

Insight page

Mike Gesicki

PositiveMatchup21:56

Mike Gesicki is a high-priority waiver add if Bengals receivers are out, as he faces his former team, which has struggled against tight ends.

Insight page
NegativeRole39:10

Gesicki is a top tight end target but is highly contingent on the health of T Higgins and Jamar Chase. His target volume is inconsistent when the primary receivers are active.

Insight page
PositiveValue39:50

Mike Gesicki is a top waiver wire tight end target, particularly when Tee Higgins or Ja'Marr Chase are out, as he sees increased target volume and red zone looks from Joe Burrow; he has scored in three of his last four games.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

PositiveBreakout55:56

Roman Wilson has emerged as the number two wide receiver for the Colts, recording at least 15 PPR points in each of his last two games; he is a strong add given the Colts' tendency to allow yards to slot receivers.

Insight page

T.J. Hockenson

NegativeValue39:26

T.J. Hockenson is a viable waiver wire tight end option, though his value is contingent on Justin Jefferson's availability; there is uncertainty regarding his ability to sustain high target volume for a second consecutive week.

Insight page

Tank Dell

NegativeValue30:13

Interest in adding Dell is minimal as he may contribute more to the Texans than to fantasy lineups. However, given his past chemistry with C.J. Stroud, he is worth a bench spot in deeper leagues.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

PositiveValue40:25

Tyler Higbee is a strong waiver wire target due to his role in the Rams' offense, which is expected to score heavily against a weak Buffalo defense; he consistently earns a good amount of targets.

Insight page

Tyreek Hill

PositiveValue4:04

Tyreek Hill is a high-priority waiver add following reports from his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, that he intends to sign with a team soon, implying he will pass a physical.

Insight page
NegativeValue47:36

Tyreek Hill is a high-upside stash following his injury, with a recommended FAAB spend of 15-20%; while his recent fantasy average is below 14 PPR points per game, his ceiling remains elite if he signs with a team like the Chiefs.

Insight page

Will Shipley

NegativeRole21:59

Shipley is the Eagles' passing downs back but lacks a high target per route run rate; Year Up United's is not excited about him unless desperate. There is a risk the team elevates Damian Pierce to lead in carries, leaving Shipley in a change-of-pace role.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

PositiveRole13:38

Zach Charbonnet is the long-term Seattle running back to target once he returns from injury, as he is expected to reclaim the passing-down and goal-line role he earned last year.

Insight page
PositiveValue49:23

Zach Charbonnet is a priority waiver wire addition in shallow leagues, currently rostered in 82% of leagues.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeProjection32:03

Lamar Jackson's ankle injury impacts Flowers' outlook, though he remains a must-start. He is ranked as a top-12 receiver rather than top-5 due to the quarterback situation.

Insight page
PositiveUsage42:24

Zay Flowers has been highly productive with Lamar Jackson, scoring 65.3 fantasy points on just 45 routes; he is a primary target for Tyler Huntley, making him a potential top-18 wide receiver play.

1:41What a play! It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
1:44Off to the races, and he stays on his feet.
1:47So here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
1:50Is this going to be a week with a big opportunity for Dante Myers coming off seven catches for 82 yards on nine targets?
1:57Or will T. Higgins and Jamar Chase play? I'm going to ask the same question about Mike Gasicki, of course, and maybe even Mitchell Tinsley.
2:04Is this going to be a big week for Will Shipley?
2:08Because Saquon Barkley's going to be out. Tank Bigsby, well, likely going to be out.
2:12Tank Bigsby is on IR, and they will have to activate somebody.
2:16And by the way, he's got the toughest run defense in football.
2:19But we do have plenty of players to talk about on the waiver wire for Week 5.
2:24Good morning, Jamie Eisenberg. Good morning. How's the waiver wire looking?
2:28It's going to be a very busy one. There's a lot of players to replace.
2:32We finally have bye weeks with two teams on a bye with Carolina and Kansas City.
2:37And unfortunately, just more and more injuries. Good morning, Dave.
2:40Stupid injuries, and they're stupid showing up all the time in every game, everywhere.
2:44Also, Dave, how about Joe Mixon and Tyreek Hill in the news?
2:47How about it? I mean, we don't know exactly what their condition is, but the fact that Joe Mixon passed a physical
2:54and is now part of the Seahawks is interesting.
2:57And Tyreek Hill claims he's going to, or at least his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, says that he's going to sign with the
3:03team soon, which in theory means he will also be able to pass a physical.
3:08They're going to be popular waiver ads. And I think it's worth having a conversation about how high you should prioritize both of them.
3:15And I think I'm going to have different answers for each.
3:18I would think so. Let's see if they make the top three this week.
3:22Jamie, who are your top three waiver wire priorities, regardless of position?
3:26Tyreek Hill, Emmanuel Wilson, and Keon Coleman. Tyreek Hill, Emmanuel Wilson, Keon Coleman.
3:30Dave, how about you? If Emmanuel Wilson is still out there, he's definitely number one.
3:34And I just don't know if he's a great long-term solution, but he's a good week five solution.
3:39I would have Tyreek Hill next. And then I went with Shakir over Keon Coleman, and you're probably going to blame personal bias for that.
3:47But Shakir's out there in about half of CBS Sports Leagues, and I just think that he's going to see a few more targets than Keon Coleman.
3:55And he'll see a few more targets even if DJ Moore comes back.
3:59I think if DJ Moore plays, then Keon Coleman's targets could sink a little bit.
4:03Now, the Rams have not given up more than 50 yards to a receiver yet, but they have allowed six touchdowns to receivers.
4:10That's who the Bills are playing this week. Look, five wide receivers already have seven or more targets against the Rams, but don't have 50 yards yet.
4:18So that's kind of wild. Keon Coleman versus Shakir, does it seem to you guys like kind of a coin flip, or
4:24do you have conviction about who's going to be the better one?
4:28Because, Jamie, you said Coleman, and Dave, you said Shakir.
4:31Jamie, did it feel like a coin flip to you?
4:34Like, why did you arrive on Coleman? DJ Moore has missed the majority of two games so far this season, and Keon
4:40Coleman's playing time production, everything has spiked in those two games.
4:44And so Detroit in week two and week four against New England has been his two best games, and DJ Moore did not play in those games.
4:52And if we're talking targets, the targets favor Coleman over everybody else on the roster in those games.
4:57Okay. In this most recent game, let's see, he had seven and Shakir had eight.
5:01But in week two, Shakir, I don't think he didn't do, he had six targets in that week.
5:07I don't know. I guess the targets are about even, I think.
5:10Oh, yeah. I'm sorry. Yeah, they would be even.
5:13Okay. Dave, how about you? Same question. I'd like the matchup for Shakir a little bit more because he'll work the inside.
5:19He's got that slot role, whereas Keon Coleman, more of a perimeter receiver.
5:23Listen, I'm going to admit it. I thought Keon Coleman looked great in week four.
5:28And just the effort that he gave on a bunch of those targets.
5:32And there was one play where he tipped the ball to himself, and he dove for it and got the catch in a first down.
5:39That was huge. He was perfect in his route running on his touchdown on the post route.
5:44So he certainly looks better than he did last year.
5:47And the only thing I'm worried about is, is he going to do the disappearing act again?
5:52Because he's done this now multiple times in his NFL career where he has a big game and then weeks go by.
5:59And he's just not a part of the offense.
6:01I think in this case, if there's no DJ Moore, we can expect Keon Coleman to be a part of the offense.
6:08And certainly against the Rams, he should at least earn a minimum six targets.
6:12It could be as high as eight. But I don't like his chances if he's going to be lined up against Trent McDuffie a majority of the time.
6:20And I guess one thing you could consider is, DJ Moore hasn't been ruled out, and they're playing Monday night, right?
6:26Yes. Yeah, there's a lot of moving parts with the receiver this week because of the Bengals situation, the Bills situation, the Chargers situation, the Eagles situation.
6:34The Tyreek situation. Well, they don't play this week.
6:37The replacements for this week. Yeah, I know a lot of people are assuming Tyreek's going to the Chiefs.
6:43So, yeah, the thing is, I was saying, in the two games that DJ Moore has played, fully played, Keon Coleman has three targets.
6:50You know, so if DJ Moore plays, Coleman's probably not going to do much, whereas Shakir could still have a role.
6:56But I don't know. DJ Moore, like, keeps hurting his shoulder.
6:59And I guess as of now, we're just not expecting him to play.
7:03Before we move on, because the top three are a Bills wide receiver, Tyreek Hill, and Emmanuel Wilson in some order.
7:09Dave, what do you expect from the Seattle backfield moving forward?
7:13You've got them signing Mixon. You've got Price out at least three more games.
7:17You've got Charbonnet, who's going to come back soon, it seems, but not this week.
7:21So maybe next week at Denver, not this week against San Francisco.
7:25Make sense, try to make sense of the Seahawks backfield right now.
7:28Forget about names for a second. What have we seen from what the Seattle coaching staff has preferred over the last 24 games that they've played?
7:36Banana split. There you go. And so no matter what the situation is, you're going to see at least two running backs,
7:43maybe even three running backs, sharing the workload. Is there a world where it's Joe Mixon and Zach Charbonnet taking turns as
7:49the running downs back and the passing downs back for the Seattle Seahawks this year?
7:54Yeah, there's a chance of that. That would be bad for Emmanuel Wilson.
7:57But if Emmanuel Wilson continues to play like he did last week, then he could be the guy.
8:03And then they'd sign Joe Mixon for nothing. And then we still don't know when Price is going to come back.
8:09We don't know exactly when Charbonnet is going to come back.
8:12It sounds like his return is imminent. And I know what I – I shouldn't say the words I know.
8:18I think I know what Zach Charbonnet's role is going to be once he's back, which is passing downs back, goal line back.
8:25He earned that role last year. He was good in that role last year.
8:29That's the one I want long term. I just can't get him off the waiver wire.
8:34So when I look at Joe Mixon, I don't want to get too enthralled with his name.
8:39And same thing with Emmanuel Wilson. And Wilson is a great game last week, but he might just be a short-term rental.
8:45I don't mind going after Wilson first and foremost.
8:48He's already rostered in almost two-thirds of CBS leagues.
8:51And he's certainly available more in other leagues. But just don't get too attached to any Seattle back.
8:56And if you are going to, I think Charbonnet is the one to get attached to.
9:01Okay. Yeah, I just can't really see myself going and adding Joe Mixon unless it's like fourth or fifth waiver claim.
9:07Right, exactly. Perfect, perfect. We don't even know. They signed another running back, too, to their practice squad.
9:12No, I think they promoted Robert Henry to the roster.
9:15Oh, they did? Okay. Let me double check. Yeah, so they're not going to play Charbonnet or Mixon this week.
9:21And Mixon, if I saw it correctly, is currently on the practice squad.
9:25So my guess is either A, they don't expect Charbonnet to return maybe in the next two weeks.
9:30And Jadarian Price may be out longer than we think.
9:33So they're probably trying to cover themselves in the event of both Price and Charbonnet not being able to help them, let's
9:40say, two or three weeks from now. So who knows what Joe Mixon has left to offer?
9:45Like Dave said, you know, the fact that he passes physical is a great sign.
9:49But he's, you know, in his 30s now. And I just don't know what to expect.
9:54So really the thing you look at it this way is like week five, Emmanuel Wilson has a must-start running back.
10:00And then whatever else happens after that, take it for what it's worth.
10:04Okay, let me ask you this and pivot to a new topic here because I think this is kind of the key question.
10:11And for waiver wires this week, it's about injuries.
10:14We've got the two Bengals guys banged up. Chase Concussion, Higgins Adductor Muscle.
10:18We don't know if they're going to play. We've got Devontae Smith out.
10:21Well, presumably out, but we don't know that. They're facing Jacksonville.
10:25We've got Rasheed Rice, but they're on a bye.
10:27DJ Moore. I think those are the big ones, right?
10:30Those three, the Bills, the Eagles, and the Bengals.
10:33If all of those guys are out this week, how would you rank the top, not just wide receivers, but tight ends too?
10:40How would you rank them, let's start with you, Jamie, of players to get on the waiver wire this week if all
10:46of the injured players that are impacting the waiver wire do not play this week?
10:51So like which is the best flex option? Yeah, you got...
10:54I'd go... So the way I had it, just to give you a peek behind the scenes, I personally don't expect Tee Higgins to play.
11:01So Dave said that we do, we have a conversation, we have an email thread, me, Dave, and Heath, and Dave said Tee Higgins listed his day-to-day.
11:09He said rank him, Heath agreed. When I first did it, when I first started writing the waiver wire column, I had
11:16Dante Myers as the first receiver to go get.
11:19But if we're going to go with the assumption that Tee Higgins is going to play, I don't think DJ Moore is going to play as well.
11:27So I guess I'll go Myers 1, Gusecki 2, Coleman 3, Shakir 4, Cooper 5.
11:31We're putting the Chiefs in this conversation for week 5?
11:34No, no. Just those three. Okay. So Myers, Gusecki, Coleman, Shakir, Cooper.
11:38And again, this is if everyone that's injured misses the game.
11:41Jamie put Coleman ahead of Myers because... Oh, I'm sorry.
11:44Yeah. Oh, okay. You did, right? Because Dave and Heath convinced Jamie to rank Tee Higgins.
11:49It's funny. I don't think it was convincing. I think it was outvoted.
11:52Dave told me this story off the air because he's like, Jamie's never wrong about this stuff.
11:57And we had a 2-1 vote to rank Tee Higgins.
12:00But Dave, if everyone were out... Just to give you the most recent example, they both wanted to leave Barkley out of
12:07the rank because I said I think Barkley's going to play.
12:10This was two weeks ago, whatever it was. It was last week.
12:14No, it was last week. It was his finger.
12:16It was week 3. Okay. Yeah. Come on, Dave.
12:19You're not inspiring much confidence here. What are you talking about?
12:22It was two weeks ago. It was two weeks ago.
12:25Okay, fine. It was two weeks ago. Adam Valentino brings up a good point.
12:29If Jefferson doesn't play too. Forgot that one. Oh, yeah.
12:32Because TJ Hawkins would be in play. Yeah. It feels like of all the receivers who are banged up, Jefferson maybe has
12:39the best chance to play this week. Yeah. So that was another one.
12:43I would have ranked Jefferson, but they didn't want to.
12:46I don't think so. You never even brought that up.
12:49I think you just had it as a no, and I couldn't find anything substantial on it, so I didn't fight it.
12:55It's a no. Okay. It's funny how we do go about this process.
12:59Well, we look up news. I mean, you know, it's a simple problem.
13:03Like, you didn't want to wreck Jane Daniels, and I found multiple reports to say Jane Daniels.
13:08I switched us like that. Yeah. Perfect. Yeah. How about you, Dave?
13:12If everyone were out, who'd be your favorite? Oh, I might feel so gross saying this.
13:16Gusecki might be first, because not only do you have an opportunity to catch a bunch of targets here with him, with
13:23no T Higgins and no Jamar Chase, but it's against his former team, and they've been bad against tight ends.
13:29So I might put Gusecki ahead of Dante Myers, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman.
13:33The thing is, like, even if only one of them missed the game, Higgins or Chase, there's still an opportunity here.
13:39Like last year, week 13, T Higgins didn't play.
13:41Mitchell Tinsley had nine targets. Uh, Yoshivas caught a touchdown.
13:44That was pretty much, like, everyone, Chase dominated, but Tinsley had nine targets.
13:48Week 15 without Higgins, um, it wasn't great, because Chase had 16 targets, but Tanner Hudson had five targets.
13:54Yeah, that was not such a great example. But they still could, like, they still could be good, even if one of them is out.
14:01The one thing just to keep in mind with the Bengals guys is, they're probably not going to have to throw very much in this game.
14:09And that's usually the MO for these guys being successful for the Bengals is a lot of volume, and that's going to
14:16help a lot of these players, which is what we saw against Jacksonville.
14:19They couldn't run the ball, and you had three guys with at least six catches, uh, two guys with 10 catches.
14:26Um, and that's not including Jamar Chase, who left the game very early, you know, so this is a game where they get their run game going.
14:34I mean, wouldn't surprise me if Chase Brown just goes absolutely nuts, and even Samadji Piran has an opportunity to contribute as well.
14:40So, the, if you're chasing touchdowns, Gusecki probably has the best chance to score.
14:45Just, I don't know what Dante Myers and what his end zone, red zone opportunities will be.
14:50Um, but yes, if, if both are missing, then I think Gusecki and, and Myers come to play, which is why I
14:56had it ranked one and two, uh, with the two Bengals.
14:59You could easily flip Gusecki. I'm fine with that.
15:02I, I just think this is one of those games where we don't see Burrow under a lot of duress where they're
15:09chasing and he's having to throw 50 plus times or 40 plus times or 30 plus times.
15:14Like, you know, the teams that have beat the Dolphins have just been efficient quarterback play aside from the Vikings and minimal
15:20pass attempts, you know, 20 of 22, whatever it was, 22 of 24, you know, for my homes, it was, uh, just not a lot of volume.
15:28Right. And a couple other things, the Dolphins who are facing the Bengals this week, bad against running backs, bad against tight ends, as Dave mentioned.
15:36So they are currently third best against wide receivers for whatever that's worth.
15:40And the other, and yes, so the Bengal situation would be the most appealing.
15:44However, you already heard Dave and Jamie have a bills wide receiver as their top receiver to get because as of right
15:50now, we feel more confident that DJ Moore will miss this week's game as opposed to both Bengals wide receivers.
15:56Both of them could play. Both of them could sit.
15:59One could play. One could sit. There are a lot of moving pieces.
16:03Justin Jefferson, same situation. And Devante Smith. Yeah, we really heard much could be a multi-week absence there.
16:08And you got to think about the, you got to think about that as like Dontavian Wicks was the guy that we liked last week.
16:16If we had going to, if we were going to choose one, he was third on the team in targets, right?
16:22This could always happen. It could be a Tinsley game.
16:25But he ran the most routes though. So that's, I'm just a, but they all ran a lot of routes, right?
16:31Yeah. Seven targets. I mean, look, he threw for 93 yards.
16:34They're down six starters. If everybody misses this week, it's just an absolute disaster for, for the Eagles, you know?
16:40So I don't know when you want to talk about Will Shipley, but you know, yeah, pun intended.
16:46He's the last running back standing on the Titanic.
16:48Um, there, there's just a, a disaster here for this entire roster with three offensive linemen missing.
16:53And the top two running backs missing the top tight end missing the top receiver missing.
16:58Like there's, this is against Jacksonville, you know, which, you know, may have a top five defense.
17:03And as you said, the best run defense in the NFL.
17:06So like to look at Darius Cooper and to look at even Makai Lemon, who's 56% rostered, uh, but even Don Tavion
17:13Wicks, you know, I, I went back and forth on, do I put him in the shallow league mentions that I put in the column?
17:20Because like, who's going to want to play Don Tavion Wicks?
17:24Now Cooper is more of like a desperation play, but if I'm in a 10 team league, I'm not starting Don Tavion Wicks this week.
17:31I just can't do it. You know? So I, it, it just feels, everything feels awful about the Eagles.
17:37Now maybe they go out and they shock the Jaguars because it's the NFL and every week is a different season.
17:43Um, I just can't see it right now. Like they just look like an absolute mess.
17:48Yeah. Jaguars have been pretty bad against number one receivers.
17:51Denzel Boston caught a touchdown a week one. Jalen Waddle, big game.
17:54Mack Hollins had a good game. T Higgins had a big game.
17:58So that's the only thing that's been kind of a vulnerability for them.
18:02But you know, it's hard to trust the Eagles and you don't even know which one to trust.
18:07And yeah, I think we should talk about Will Shipley.
18:10We should talk about fab dollars. We're going to talk about it after this break.
18:14We'll give you the top three at each position.
18:17I have a big correction to make from yesterday's podcast.
18:20I have to apologize for profusely and, uh, your news and a lot of news and notes.
18:25We don't know if Lamar Jackson's going to play this week and you're going to need some quarterbacks, uh, because two must,
18:32two must start guys right now, basically Mahomes and young are on by and maybe Lamar Jackson out as well.
18:37And I kept, I kept, uh, writing and erasing, writing and erasing and the, your notes for our, uh, CBS sports network
18:44show of our top three Jacoby reset. Cause to me, he feels like a safer top three guy than the, than the
18:51pick a bills receiver or another receiver. Because like you just said, there's potentially three quarterbacks missing this week.
18:56They're a must start guys. We'll be right back after this.
18:59Break it down for you on fantasy football today.
19:02Building a winning fantasy football team takes so much more than just picking the biggest names.
19:07You need strategy, preparation, determination, and of course, a little bit of grit when things don't go according to plan.
19:13It's the same way in football. A quarterback has to throw and run.
19:17A running back has to run and read the routes.
19:20It takes so much more than one skill to succeed.
19:23Just like nationwide. Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company.
19:26They're one of America's largest financial services companies too.
19:29So whether you're thinking about your insurance or financial needs, remember, Nationwide is on your side.
19:34Nationwide Investment Services Corporation, member FINRA, Columbus, Ohio. Sometimes I'm so busy, I feel like I don't have time for healthy meals
19:40and I eat a lot of unhealthy stuff and I know I'm not alone.
19:44But guess what? There's a solution for us and it's Factor, a total game changer for me.

20:30Creatine is easily one of the most researched supplements on the planet, but I hit a point where I realized just trusting a pretty label wasn't enough.
20:38I needed actual verification. That's why I made the switch to Momentus Signature Spec Creatine.
20:42Instead of chasing flavor trends, Momentus set a brand new benchmark by producing their creatine in a pharmaceutical facility with reverse osmosis water purification.
20:49It undergoes a rigorous six-stage testing process with four independent agencies guaranteeing 10 times fewer impurities, tighter heavy metal limits, and tests for microplastics and PFAs.
20:57For my own routine, having that level of purity is non-negotiable.
21:00And the fact that it's an ultra-fine powder that mixes seamlessly with no clumping makes it effortless to take every day for power, recovery, and brain health.
21:08If you want to try Momentus Signature Spec Creatine, head to livemomentus.com and use code FFT for up to 35% off your entire first order.
21:16That's livemomentus.com promo code FFT for up to 35% off.
21:19Livemomentus.com promo code FFT. Dave, what do you think about Will Shipley this week and the Eagles' backfield in general with Barkley
21:25week-to-week and Tank Bigsby on IR and facing the Jaguars?
21:28Bad matchup. Three offensive starters gone. A quarterback that throws to their running back about 16% of the time.
21:34Shipley is their passing downs back, and even he doesn't have a very high target per route run rate.
21:39I don't believe he will be the only guy there.
21:42I'm not excited about Will Shipley unless I'm desperate for a running back.
21:46I can't get my hands on Keaton Mitchell. I can't get my hands on Emmanuel Wilson and Wilson ahead of Mitchell.
21:52But those two guys are ahead of Shipley for me.
21:55And that's more of a rest of season thing in the case of Mitchell over Shipley.
22:00If you just need a guy for a week, it would be Shipley over Mitchell.
22:05But I'm still liking what I see from Keaton Mitchell with the Chargers.
22:08And I'm nervous about what we'll get for one week, maybe two weeks out of Will Shipley.
22:13I kind of want to avoid it. So the only thing that I think for Shipley, if you are looking at it,
22:20for me, would be long-term because Bigsby's going to be out for at least four games.
22:25And at least the report on Barkley is week-to-week.
22:27Carolina week six and Dallas week seven. Those are much easier matchups than what he's dealing with this week and I don't
22:34know what the Lane Johnson situation is going to be.
22:37But maybe they start to get their offensive line a little bit better.
22:41Maybe they get Smith back. Maybe they get Goddard back and there's a little bit more of a respect for the passing game.
22:48That would be the hope for me because I do not want to play Will Shipley this week.
22:53So I would not be investing a lot of fab at all in him.
22:57But if you just look, okay, my week six situation is this.
23:01My backfield is just an absolute disaster and I need something for maybe the next two or three weeks.
23:06And again, it could be a waste because Barkley could play.
23:09But at least there's a chance that you are getting a starting running back.
23:14It's kind of similar to the Dolphins situation last week.
23:17And look, separate conversation. Clearly it worked out. Terrible team.
23:20Backups came in and tough matchup played well. Maybe the same thing happens for Shipley.
23:24Yeah. One of my fears with Shipley is that they just don't trust him to be a true running back and they
23:31elevate Damian Pierce and Damian Pierce leads the team in carries and they just keep Shipley in the change of pace role.
23:37So I think that's on the table. We'll see who they elevate.
23:41Maybe it's Jadon Blue and that's not quite as threatening, I guess.
23:44And then this question from the chat. Should I pick up Jeremiah Love's backup, Tyler Algier?
23:49Is he a top waiver wire ad this week?
23:52And I got to bring it up. Love has an ankle injury.
23:55He hurt his ankle during the game. His other ankle, not the one he hurt in the preseason.
24:00So it doesn't seem like he's going to miss time, but he's going to be on the injury report.
24:06I mean, he said he was fine after the game, you know, so it's, it's, uh, I didn't include him.
24:12I should probably go back and add him, but I have him listed in the handcuffs to stash it.
24:18It's, it's certainly worth exploring. Yeah. He might be the goal linebacker.
24:21No, week three, week three Algier was not the goal linebacker.
24:24My love was everything. Week four. He might be the third downback too.
24:28What's that? He's definitely there. That is. Michael Fleur said as much after the game.
24:33Yeah. They're passing downs back and their goal line guy.
24:36Yeah. Well, he didn't say the goal line part.
24:38Right, right. His, his usage in week four certainly suggested that.
24:42So last week was a big fab week. So Ali Gordon and some other guys go for at least 25, 30% routinely.
24:48Um, Jamie, how about this week with fab? I think it comes down to what you need because there's a lot of
24:55different moving parts for, for this week. I wouldn't go crazy with the backup receivers because there's not, it doesn't appear to
25:01be long-term absences for DJ Moore for the Bengals guys.
25:04At least that's what we hope. Um, for Justin Jefferson, you know, these guys presumably could all return for week five.
25:10I think the one that I would spend a lot on if he's still available would be Emmanuel Wilson because he could win you a week this week.
25:19You know, I don't think San Francisco's run defense is one you fear.
25:23Um, and Wilson just showed you everything that you want from a CIO.
25:26He basically liked Ken Walker in the playoffs. I know I'm not to the same extent or the same type of player, but production was, you know, amazing.
25:3527 PPR points. So it could also be a short-term solution or short-term answer because of, as we just alluded to, Charbonnet's
25:41return, Mixon's, uh, signing, et cetera, et cetera. Um, quarterbacks, there's, you know, Jacoby Brissette's my favorite one, but if you miss on Brissette, there's Kirk Cousins.
25:49If you miss on Cousins, there's Aaron Rodgers. If you miss on Rodgers, there's Sam Darnold or Deshaun Watson or any of
25:56these guys, you know, so it doesn't feel like there's one that's a huge standout over the other.
26:01Brissette would be my favorite, uh, for his matchup and usually what he gives you, but, um, I wouldn't go crazy, you know, spending fab there.
26:09And then tight end is kind of the same scenario here of Gusecki would be the one I would try to get first.
26:16We know how that can go again if the Bengals are, are healthy.
26:19And then I thought Tyler Higby, you know, for what it's worth, given the fact that Pucco is healthy, Matthew Stafford's going to throw a lot.
26:27And I think you're going to get quality production, maybe not elite production, but quality enough production.
26:32But that position also, you know, there's, if you don't get Higby, there's Brenton Strange is coming, you know, I think that's the Bengals more than anything else.
26:40But, um, you got Brenton Strange, you got Hunter Henry, you have Michael Mayer now, who I think is going to be a thing for the Raiders.
26:48Like there's just a lot of different pivot plays here at the position.
26:52I think the, if you want to talk about fab, given two teams on a buy and Lamar, Tyler Huntley might get
26:59spent, the most money spent, most fab spent in the quarterback.
27:02All right. I got to correct something that I said yesterday on the, on the box score episode and it's irrelevant to this show.
27:09I don't know what happened. I don't know. I can't even explain how the error happened.
27:14If I did something wrong or the data was wrong, I gave out some route participation rates that were just way off.
27:20I said, who can, I said, Nico Collins ran like half the routes.
27:24He ran 90% of the routes and I said, Antonio Williams, this is where it really sparked from was as I was
27:31like, man, Antonio Williams had eight targets last week or something like that.
27:35He had a long touchdown call back and maybe he's someone you look at this week if McLaurin's out again, but he only ran, I don't know.
27:43It was like 40% of the routes or something, but no, that is not true.
27:47He ran more than 70% of the routes, Antonio Williams.
27:50So, um, I thought that was actually pretty encouraging and getting Daniels back.
27:54That could be a player that, um, that you look at in three receiver leagues this week if McLaurin doesn't play.
28:00So apologies for that. I don't know what the heck happened there.
28:04Your news and notes again, Lamar Jackson's got the ankle injury.
28:07They're at Atlanta, which could be a fun game and he may not play.
28:11So Jamie already mentioned Tyler Huntley scored, I think about 17, 18 points in both of his starts last year in six point per passing touchdown leagues.
28:19Marcus Mariota is going to miss some time, but Jaden Daniels is going to practice in full this week and hopefully play
28:26against the New York Giants and Tyson Bajant will start for the Bears.
28:30Uh, Saquon Barkley, you know about him and Bigsby Kyle Mononga is day to day with a thumb injury.
28:35So it looks like we dodged a bullet there with Mononga and man, Dave, who do you think is the best Bears
28:42running back this week at Green Bay? Still Swift.
28:44I would expect them to go back to a drive by drive rotation and they might've even been doing that already last week.
28:51I don't know. I didn't go back and check that stat.
28:54Maybe you guys did, but I think Swift is still the, the one a let's call it that.
29:00I'm an on guys. The one B. All right.
29:02Just don't fumble Deandre Swift. Uh, Jeremiah Love tweaked his other ankle, but yeah, we already mentioned that he should be fine.
29:09And Green Bay running back. Chris Brooks has an ankle injury and Rico Dowdle could play this week against the Colts.
29:15And Mike McCarthy says he and Jalen Warren will be a one, two punch.
29:19Hmm. We're thinking Warren still the better option and hopefully a really good option, uh, this week.
29:24And Zach Charbonnet is not going to play this week.
29:27And the Seahawks signed Joe Mixon and Robert Henry jr.
29:30And Kyle use check has a knee injury. He's week to week.
29:34I believe I haven't seen anything on Ramondre Stevenson.
29:37I think he's healthy. He's he was talking to the media after the game and there's no reports about any type of injury.
29:43We'll see what happens Wednesday, but for now I think Ramondre is going to play.
29:48She rice injured DJ. She rice. Uh, could miss a few weeks.
29:51We'll see. They have a buy thankfully, but DJ Moore shoulder, Jamar chase concussion, T Higgins adductor, Tyree kill is going to sign.
29:58Looks like in the next few days, buzz is Kansas city.
30:01We'll see what happens. Uh, Jalen lane for the commanders.
30:04He's got a serious injury. He's out. Uh, Jordan Tyson is a few weeks away from returning.
30:09Tank Dell is going to start practicing. Jamie, what's your interest level in adding tank Dell?
30:14Minimal. Uh, he's going to do more for the Texans than he will for fantasy.
30:19Pat Bryant has maybe, maybe. And Tyquan Thornton is out for the regular season and Matt Collins calf injury and lad McConkie foot injury.
30:26You know what? Forgot about that one when we were chargers receivers.
30:29Yeah, I'm sorry about that. Dave, how did the chargers receivers stack up with, uh, the bangles and Eagles?
30:35It's a bills guys. I'm coming around on Trey Harris.
30:38And if we're, we're talking maybe rest of season, then he's somebody you could slide in maybe ahead of them all.
30:44If it's just for this week, he's going to be behind the bills guys.
30:48But I think that he's got a chance to kind of earn more targets than Quentin Johnson.
30:53He's making fewer mistakes than Johnston is. And he's, he's kind of interesting.
30:57If McConkie's out, I think Trey Harris would be maybe a number three fantasy receiver.
31:02And the reason why I hesitated on tank Dell about a minute ago is because I think back to how good of
31:08a connection he had with CJ Stroud when the two were playing as rookies.
31:12And it's been a while since they've both been on the field a lot.
31:16And I don't know how much tank Dell will play, uh, at least coming back from his very serious injury, but maybe
31:23there's something there and Stroud for what it's worth has been throwing the ball overall, I'd say better than expected this year.
31:29And so maybe I shouldn't just poo poo tank Dell and say that in deeper leagues, he is worth a bench spot.
31:36Oh, well, we got a big news here for me and Rappaport.
31:39What's happening? Lamar Jackson, not, not like huge news.
31:42Sorry. I don't mean to scare people, but Lamar Jackson, uh, he's got a sprained ankle, gives him only an outside chance to play on Sunday.
31:50According to sources for Ian Rappaport, Jackson could end up missing multiple games based on how the rehab goes, but the injury
31:56is not considered long term or surgical damn, that sucks.
31:59You've got to think that's going to impact say flowers a little bit too.
32:03Yeah, but there's no way you're sitting him. No, but I don't think you rank him as a top five receiver.
32:10It's a bad week for receivers. That's why you're going to rank him probably as top 12 receiver.
32:15Where do you, where do you have him ranked, James?
32:18Uh, I think around 10. It's, um, it's just hard to get away from still what he is and his numbers without
32:25Lamar Jackson, understandably so have been bad, but different offense.
32:27He's playing great. Hopefully he comes through, you know, maybe has the, uh, if we're going to call it ZSN, maybe he has this, the ZSN, ZSN.
32:35What'd I say? ZSN. You said Z instead of Zay.
32:38Oh, ZSN. Well, Z is his name. Sorry. Z is his name?
32:42Z is his initial. Z is his initial. Sorry.
32:45Um, anyway, hopefully he has Zay Flowers, uh, game like, um, like Smith and Jigba had with Drew Locke.
32:50That'd be awesome. Games. All right. I'll take a look and see how many times a receiver had, let's call it 15 PPR points with Huntley.
32:58Okay. And Huntley's life and his life back to middle school.
33:01And, uh, you know, it wasn't a terrible week for like long term injuries at running back or receiver necessarily like last
33:08week was, but it was pretty bad at offensive line.
33:11And, uh, Rashawn Slater is going to miss some time.
33:14Joe Alts injured the chargers offensive line. They're facing a Broncos team.
33:17That's going to be missing. Definitely Sertan and maybe both of their starting corners, but their offensive line is so beat up.
33:24I don't even know if it matters. Paris, Johnson left tackle for the Cardinals.
33:28He's out for the season. Also their right guard, Isaiah Adams left an injury.
33:32I don't know the status there, but Cardinals lose their left tackle for the season and Minnesota loses their guard Donovan Jackson for the season.
33:39All right, let's get to the top three at each position.
33:43While Dave is looking up that Tyler Huntley stat, let's see what Jamie's top three quarterbacks are.
33:48I know it's Jacoby Brissett and then who else?
33:50Uh, Brissett would be one cousins would be two and Rogers would be three.
33:55And our cousins and Rogers good week five plays or are these bench players or like, um, they're, they're in the mix.
34:01I mean, look, cousins doesn't have an easy matchup, but so what?
34:05He's been 19.8 fantasy points or more in all four games of the season and he's just playing fantastic right now.
34:11Kubiak's system has been great. And the last two games with Brock Bowers on the field has been fantastic.
34:17So I know the Patriots are a tough defense.
34:19He's got to go across the country to play them.
34:22So I wouldn't have high expectations for him, but if I don't have Bryce Young or Holmes and I just lost Lamar
34:29Jackson and I can't get Brissett, this is the pivot play that I would make.
34:33And hopefully he just stays hot and maybe has, you know, another opportunity to throw the ball well in this game against, um, against Patriots.
34:41And then for Rogers, look back to back games of 24 points, um, that's, I think it might be 24 of 20, 27.9 points.
34:48Excuse me. excuse me. So the last two games and this Colts defense, I don't think is very good.
34:53So hopefully Rogers has another opportunity to play well, uh, for a third straight game.
34:58So they're not like, Oh my God, I really want to start Kirk Cousins or Aaron Rogers, but you know, you might
35:04be desperate and looking at, you know, some of the other options on waivers.
35:08I think these for the majority of leagues are the two best guys you can find if you can't get Brissett.
35:15Did I not hear the name Jameis Winston? So Jameis will be fourth for me.
35:19Um, I think just looking at it as another great matchup, but I'm going to trust the way that those two guys
35:26have played more so than I trust Jameis, but he's right behind them.
35:29So you look at, I don't know how you have ranked.
35:33I have them almost back to back to back.
35:35So Jameis has such a high ceiling, but such a low floor.
35:39Um, it's just, you know, which Jameis is going to show up, but yes, absolutely.
35:43Jameis should be in a conversation. I didn't know if you wanted me to get more than three items.
35:49The top three is fine. And by the way, Aaron Rogers back to back games with more than 25 fantasy points and
35:56six point per passing touchdown leagues for the first time since he won the MVP in 2021, there were 57 games in
36:02between the last time he scored 25 or more fantasy points in consecutive games.
36:06Aaron Rogers, pretty cool. Um, all right, running back Dave, who are the top three running backs to get?
36:12Assuming Emmanuel Wilson is available, he's numero uno. I've got Keaton Mitchell behind him and I've got Will Shipley third.
36:18Okay. And Jamie, let's go to wide receivers then.
36:20Yeah, buckle up. Um, it's, uh, again, assuming, assuming the, uh, the injuries are what they are and we're expecting T Higgins to play.
36:28Uh, first would be Tyree kill just with the assumption that he's going to sign with the chiefs and hopefully is healthy
36:34and hopefully can play a big role. But I think long-term he has the most upside of probably anybody on this list.
36:41Coleman would be second. And I have, if you read the story, I have Coleman and Shakir kind of package together.
36:47So, uh, I wouldn't necessarily put him third, but Coleman and Shakir together.
36:51And then Dante Myers and,, uh, Mitchell Tinsley are also together in the story.
36:55But if you're just looking at it, the three individual players, Hill would be one, Coleman would be two, Myers would be
37:01three, but there's just a whole group of guys that are sort of bunched together that you can sort of mix and
37:08match depending on who's and, and depend and what you need short-term versus long-term.
37:12I think we should talk a little bit about Dante Myers because he, he's a 26 year old rookie with a, with
37:18a fun story, but Dave, he looked really good out there and he had seven catches for 82 yards.
37:24And when you compare him to like Mitchell Tinsley, Mitchell Tinsley had a game with nine targets last year, had 22 yards.
37:31Uh, he had a game with seven targets last year.
37:34He had three catches for 49 yards. He had a six target game.
37:37He had two catches, 29 yards and a touchdown.
37:40It's really all we can go off. It's small sample stuff, but like Myers, yeah, I mean, look, it just looked really good out there.
37:48And does he need both guys to be out in order to be start worthy?
37:52Or do you think Dante Myers is a start?
37:55If only one of those receivers misses the game, he needs both guys out to be start worthy.
38:00And that's why it's hard to rank him, uh, high, unless you're a T Higgins manager and you've got T on your
38:06team and you're worried about T not playing, or you're believing that T Higgins, the late fourth quarter injury that he had is going to keep him out.
38:15And again, we're talking about this on a Tuesday morning.
38:18They haven't had a practice yet this week. If he doesn't practice by Thursday, you could start T if T doesn't practice
38:24by Thursday, then you could start to get really encouraged by Dante Myers, like the talent a lot.
38:30I think he'll play a lot. I just think the way that offenses have operated against Miami this year have been lots
38:36of running, lots of short area passing, not a ton of volume to wide receivers in part because they don't have to.
38:43The dolphins aren't pushing teams on the other side.
38:45So as my, as my buddy prop stars would say, they are not a good dance partner when it comes to getting numbers up.
38:52Whereas Jacksonville was a good dance partner for Cincinnati to keep throwing.
38:56And that's why Myers had nine targets for seven and 82 last week.
39:00And also it helped that Jamar chase left the game.
39:03All right, then you know what, Dave, I'm going to give you the top tight ends and ask the same question about Mike a sickie.
39:10Does he need both of the guys to be out in a good matchup for tight ends?
39:15Cause I assume he's number one. So who are your top three at tight end?
39:20It's really close between a sickie and TJ Hawkinson.
39:22And it's obviously contingent on players on their own teams, missing the game.
39:26You're not going to be interested in TJ Hawkinson.
39:29If Justin Jefferson plays and you're not going to be interested in a sickie.
39:33If T Higgins plays and Jamar chase gets through the concussion protocol and ends up playing against Miami.
39:38The only reason why I have a sickie hires because we have seen a sample of him when one of the wide
39:45receivers are out getting some good target volume. It's not consistent.
39:48It's not every single time, but it's a lot of the time.
39:52And for whatever reason, Joe Burrow looks for him in the red zone.
39:56We've seen it a couple of times. We saw last week for crying out loud and get sickie touchdown in three of
40:02his last four games, taking on his former team, not going to get a ton of targets, but might get three catches and find the end zone.
40:10Not a top 10 type of fantasy tight end.
40:13I don't even love saying it, but I just think the matchup is a little bit better for him.
40:18Whereas I'm not sure if I'm ready to trust TJ Hawkinson to get a ton of targets for the second week in a row.
40:25Jamie's third guy is Higby. How do you feel about that?
40:29Mine too. Mine too. And to be honest, like you can make the argument for any of these three to be the
40:35top tight end to go get off the waiver wire.
40:38And at least in the case of Higby, okay, we know that Pukenaku is going to play and we know that Devante Adams is going to play.
40:46We look at that matchup against Buffalo. We see that terrible Buffalo defense.
40:50We see their pass rush, which is just at best.
40:53Okay. And you think there's going to be a ton of points scored and that the Rams are going to have their
41:00way and find a way to 30 points. And you're going to want to start players on the Rams.
41:05And Higby is one of those guys that gets a good amount of targets.
41:09I've got your Huntley numbers whenever you want to hear them.
41:13Oh, they're your Huntley numbers, baby. Let's hear them.
41:15They're Tyler Huntley's numbers and they're not good. So it's not like he's made a ton of starts since 2021, but the
41:22best wide receiver with Tyler Huntley is Tyreek Hill in 2024 with the Dolphins 19.5 PPR fantasy points.
41:27He needed nine targets to do it. The next best is Rashad Bateman in 2021 with the Baltimore Ravens.
41:33He had 17.3 PPR points. That was on eight targets.
41:36The third best wide receiver is Hollywood Brown in 2021 with 14.3 PPR points.
41:40He needed 14 targets to do that. Zay Flowers is on this list.
41:44He's number four, 14.1 PPR points on nine targets.
41:46So if Zay Flowers is going to get a lot of targets, Tyler Huntley is going to look for him.
41:52Sure. He's got a chance to finish as a top.
41:55This is called like an 18 wide receiver. If we're talking about 14 PPR points, but that's it.
42:01Those are the only four receivers in Tyler Huntley.
42:03I'll get the number of starts if you want them who have had 14 plus PPR points.
42:08The guy who's really done well is Mark Andrews.
42:11And even a lot of those games, you've got to go back.
42:15You've got to go back several years. All right.
42:17So it's not great. Okay. Yeah. I gave this stat yesterday.
42:20It's the most amazing stat. We'll do DSTs in a second.
42:24Zay Flowers has run 45 routes with Lamar Jackson.
42:26What is that? Okay. How does that compare? That's a, that's a, a big week.
42:31You know, there are 11 wide receivers who ran 45 routes in week four alone.
42:35But this year, Zay Flowers has run 45 routes with Lamar Jackson on the field.
42:40And he has scored 65.3 fantasy points in those 45 routes.
42:43That's a game. That's like a, a game's worth of routes for sometimes not for a Ravens receiver typically, typically, but think about that.
42:50Think about it like Devon Bailey or any of the wide receivers that ran the 45 or more routes, the 11 of
42:57them that did it like T Higgins did it this week.
43:0065.3 fantasy points. That's how good Zay Flowers has been.
43:03But Jamie, we're here to talk about the waiver wire and we're here to talk about DSTs.
43:08So I remind you that now is the time for coverage that you can count on sponsored by Nationwide.
43:13And just like your fantasy roster is more than just your offensive starters, Nationwide is a great insurance company and one of America's largest financial services companies.
43:21So don't forget about the defensive side of the ball.
43:24And remember Nationwide is on your side. Who's on our side this week at the DST position?
43:29It's actually a great week for streaming DSTs. You got the Cowboys taking on the Bucs and their terrible offense right now with a backup quarterback.
43:37You got the Bengals against the Dolphins and what that offense has looked like.
43:41You got the Browns against the Jets. Jets can't run any offensive plays.
43:45But the number one DST to get, it might be the DST you're going to stick with for the rest of the season, is the Jaguars.
43:53I know everybody sort of pivoted away from them because of the Bengals and understandably so.
43:58They are awesome and now they're taking on a Philadelphia team that could be down six starters, two running backs, their best
44:04pass catcher, a best wide receiver, their best tight end.
44:07It's just ugly for the Eagles right now and I think you're going to get great production from Jacksonville's DST and again,
44:14you might be able just to stick with them for the rest of the season.
44:18That was coverage you can count on sponsored by Nationwide.
44:21Nationwide is so much more than a great insurance company.
44:24They're one of America's largest financial companies too. Take your game to the next level with Nationwide.
44:29For your insurance and financial needs, Nationwide is on your side.
44:32Nationwide Investment Services Corporation, member FINRA, Columbus, Ohio. And finally, Jamie, the kickers.
44:36Everybody loves the kickers. I would go with Chris Boswell against the Colts.
44:40They've been bad against opposing kickers. He got, how do you pronounce the Giants?
44:44Oh, Dominic Zavada. The reason the Giants are three and one.
44:47This kid is really good. Really good. He's second.
44:50He's second for me, but you want to make him first, that's fine.
44:54Cameron Dicker against the Broncos and then Harrison Meebus against the Bills.
44:58Love it. Okay. And we're going to take a break.
45:00Shallow leagues, deep leagues. I think we owe Tyreek Hill a little bit more time.
45:05Let's talk about him when we come back and we write back on.
45:09I think we'll be talking about him a lot in the next few days.
45:13Yeah, but you know, how good, how good can he be coming off this injury and at his age?
45:19We'll, we'll discuss after this. Support for today's episode comes from Square, the all-in-one system powering so many of the places we love.

47:12Tyreek Hill is 32 years old. He's coming off a dislocated knee and multiple torn ligaments in a gruesome injury in week four.
47:19He's playing pretty well at the time. 100 yards in week two.
47:225 for 49 and a touchdown at the Bills in week three.
47:26And then in about a half, 6 for 67 on six targets against the Jets.
47:30He still looked pretty damn good pretty fast last year.
47:33Dave, how much fab would you spend on him?
47:36And what are your expectations for Tyreek Hill? Obviously, we don't know where he's going to sign.
47:41The buzz is the Chiefs. But how good do you think he could be?
47:45I don't want to waste too much fab. I'm thinking it's got to be around somewhere between 15 and 20%.
47:51So it's a lot. It's a chunk. But we know what he's capable of doing.
47:55The only problem is if you look at his last two years with the Dolphins, and granted it's the Dolphins, his average in fantasy is not great.
48:03It's below 14 PPR points per game. And is that what we're going to get?
48:08Well, in this day and age, that's probably somebody that we would look at as a low end number two wide receiver, high end number three.
48:15But more importantly, that's a starter. And it's someone that I'd be okay with thinking that once he's back with a team,
48:22hopefully with a core competent quarterback, he can he can be in my lineup and earn some targets and not be 100% of himself, but 80% of himself.
48:30And that's kind of the floor view. You know what the ceiling view is.
48:34Somehow he's made his way back into being the old cheetah and he's with Patrick Mahomes and he's the number one target in Kansas City.
48:42And boy, defenses are going to be in a huge bind because who do you take out first between Tyree kill and
48:48Kenneth Walker, the third and defenses are already playing differently against the chiefs than they have before.
48:53And Tyree kill can potentially crush them, but that's if he's the old Tyree kill.
48:58And we just don't know. We've seen him running in sand.
49:01His legs look strong. We don't know anything else.
49:04But again, in theory, he's going to sign with the team.
49:07He's going to pass a physical. He's going to get acclimated to an offense.
49:11And there's real potential for him to be a starter for your fantasy team rest of season.
49:16Okay. Jamie, let's talk about the shallow league guys.
49:19Some of the best shallow league options. I think obviously Zach Charbonnet is someone.
49:23Josh, take a look. Just see if Josh Jacobs is available.
49:26Zach Charbonnet as well. Who else? CJ Stroud. Dave alluded to this earlier.
49:30Stroud with two games with Nico Collins averaging 23.8 fantasy points.
49:33So the way this defense has performed, this might not be the week because of the Titans, but he's clearly been asked
49:40to do a lot more than I think the Texans would like.
49:43And I'm sure fantasy managers have expected, but he's been a pleasant surprise when he's had his number one receiver.
49:49Don't love Sam Darnold particularly this week, but he does have the opportunity to continue to play at a very high level
49:56based on what we've seen so far. So Darnold is certainly within, I'm sorry, I do like Darnold this week.
50:02I don't like Darnold's upcoming schedule after this week.
50:05He gets a lot more challenging. But those are two quarterbacks that you should pivot to again if you're missing some guys.
50:11Running back has some pretty interesting names. It's not the most highly available guys, so I kind of extended it a little bit.
50:18Usually I try to cut it off at 80%, but you got Alvin Camara at 83%.
50:23It wasn't a great game, but he did score two touchdowns.
50:26Kendra Miller fumbled. Charbonnet, like you mentioned, 82%. Jordan Mason is one week away from coming back.
50:31Actually, well, two weeks away, one game away from coming back because their bye is week six.
50:36But Jordan Mason may be somebody that long-term could be someone you want to have on your roster.
50:41Obviously, Ollie Gordon should be added where available with the way that he just played and looking like he's the Dolphins guy for the foreseeable future.
50:49And then we got the report going into week four about Woody Marks getting more work.
50:54It didn't necessarily translate in week four, but David Montgomery just continues to struggle.
50:58So that's an easy one to just pick up and stash and see what you have from him moving forward.
51:04Wide receiver, there's a couple of names that you should definitely be picking up.
51:08Look, first off, we don't know 100% that it's going to be the Chiefs.
51:12So Xavier Worthy could be the healthiest Chiefs receiver coming out of their bye week.
51:17He should be added, at least at this point, wherever available.
51:20He's 74% rostered. Devon Vele, another big game last night.
51:23It was a garbage time touchdown, but he had some big catches.
51:26And I thought, I think as long as Jordan Tyson remains out, like you said earlier, it's going to be a few weeks away until he's available.
51:34So Devon Vele now three games out of four with at least 11.4 PPR points.
51:39And Romeo Dobbs coming off his big game with nine targets and two touchdowns.
51:43He's going to be relevant for the Patriots until A.J.
51:46Brown returns. And then at tight end, Mark Andrews is probably the one you want to go get first.
51:5182% rostered. He should have an opportunity with Tyler Huntley to get a few, hopefully, extra targets and just some of those
51:58easy throws that they'll probably want Huntley to make.
52:01So you'd rather have Andrews than Sadiq? I would rather have Andrews than Sadiq for this week.
52:06And so I think you're going to see Sadiq just dropped in a lot of leagues because people just look at production.
52:12Geno Smith threw, what, 13 passes in that game?
52:15And whatever it was, 17 passes in that game.
52:18Eight targets went to both Garrett Wolfe. So he's still going to get opportunities.
52:22It's just a matter of can you carry him with, just based on potential.
52:26So if you can afford to carry two tight ends, I wouldn't want to start Sadiq this week.
52:31I'd want to see it at least one more time.
52:34But I just hope it's not going to be what we see with these great matchups.
52:39Like these guys take advantage of great situations and then they don't perform at that same level again.
52:44Man, you were so close twice. 15 pass attempts for Geno Smith.
52:48I got a neighborhood. Yeah, we took the average.
52:50Okay. Okay. I don't know why I talk like that.
52:53Devon Vele, you know, his target share is really not that impressive.
52:57But Tyler Shuck has the most pass attempts in football and it's not even close.
53:01Tyler Shuck has 180. Next up is Stafford and Bryce Young and Jared Goff at 162 or 161.
53:07So he has 18 more pass attempts, Tyler Shuck, than any quarterback right now.
53:11So Vele, you know, that's probably going to come down a little bit.
53:15He's not going to average 44, whatever, 45. Yeah, 45 pass attempts per game.
53:19But Vele, I'd like to see the target share be higher, but should still be a lot of target.
53:25Good enough. All right, Dave. Devon Vele. I picked Devon Vele up in the preseason.
53:29None of these guys are available in my league.
53:32Who are the deep leaders? Why do I laugh every week?
53:35I don't know why, but I do. I think it's funny.
53:38All right, let's talk about Jameis Winston for a quick second.
53:41He's taking on the commanders. Before last week, they allowed at least 30 fantasy points to every quarterback that they faced.
53:48And then they took on Daniel Jones and Daniel Jones was a total mess.
53:52And look, I watched Jameis play and maybe his release was a little bit faster, but really he took advantage of a favorable matchup.
53:59And he's going to have another one this week against Washington.
54:02So I kind of dig Jameis. I would rather have Brissett too, but I think that Jameis is in play as a low end starter this week.
54:10If you're really hurting for a quarterback, you can't get your hands on Jacoby Brissett.
54:15Jameis Winston, who's available in 89% of CBS leagues would be the guy.
54:18Rogers right behind him. And maybe if you're looking for somebody rest of season, Rogers is ahead of Jameis because I don't
54:25know how much longer Jameis will be the quarterback.
54:28Whereas Rogers is definitely going to be the quarterback of Pittsburgh as long as he's healthy and he may not see a tough defense.
54:35You can look at their schedule and check me out on that.
54:38I mean, he plays Cleveland, but week 12 Denver, if the Broncos are healthy by then, there's a lot of favorable matchups
54:45coming up for Aaron Rogers at running back. We're assuming that Wilson, Keaton Mitchell are already rostered.
54:50Will Shipley is available in 98% of leagues. He would be the first guy to look at Joe Mixon would be up
54:56there too, but I wonder if Austin Eckler will get attention.
55:00I thought he looked pretty good as a part-time role player for Washington.
55:03And maybe it's just because he had fresh legs and a month from now, he might not look quite as good, but
55:10he'll at least get on the field before Joe Mixon.
55:13So if you're really in a pinch for a running back and you can't get your hands on Shipley, maybe Eckler is the next guy you go after.
55:21And again, 96% available. I don't know how much I buy into Kamani Vidal now making it a three headed monster with
55:28the chargers, but he also, he started the game for LA and he didn't look half bad.
55:33He's kind of a desperation running back ad. He's out there in 94% of leagues.
55:37We talked about Tyreek Hill. We talked a little bit about Trey Harris.
55:41I like him better than Quentin Johnson moving forward.
55:44Cam Coleman is available in over 80% of leagues.
55:46So he makes a lot of sense. Talked about Dante Myers.
55:50If there's another wide receiver who's available in 90% plus leagues to talk about, it's Aaron Rogers, new number two receiver.
55:56And it's Roman Wilson, six targets in every game touchdown and at least 15 PPR points in each of his last two games.
56:03I think he's displaced Michael Pittman as their number two wide receiver in that offense.
56:07And then a tight end it's Gesicki and it's Higby.
56:10Hawkinson's available in about two thirds of leagues, but Gesicki and Higby, they're out there in about 80% of leagues.
56:16If you're in one of these tight end premium leagues where Gesicki and Higby are already rostered, Darnell Washington's been running about
56:23half the routes each of the last two games and they seem to have like plays designed for Darnell Washington.
56:29It's good for about three catches a week. Yeah.
56:31And he can rumble with them. So it's only in those super deep, you know, tight end premium leagues.
56:37He's barely rostered. And then there's also with Roman Wilson, just wanted to add that the Colts give up the second most receiving yards to slot receivers.
56:45So that's based. That's mostly where Roman Wilson lines up.
56:48And there was a shallow league guy. I don't know if you mentioned him.
56:52He's 89% rostered. Jaden Daniels. He's, you know, he's could be back, should be back this week.
56:57He was dropped. Yeah. You know, practice in full 89% rostered.
57:00And, you know, he hasn't had a lot of good production over the last two years, but he has left so many
57:07games early and week one was a startable game for him.
57:10He did fine. And week two, he scored 16 points at halftime.
57:14So, you know, Jaden Daniels is, I saw him picked up in a few leagues last week.
57:19I just take a look because I didn't even bother taking a look.
57:22I forgot. But just always scan. If you're on CBS, go to the most rostered page, sort by free agents, and you'll
57:29see, you know, some guys that slipped through the cracks that are 89% rostered.
57:33Especially with the bye weeks because they're not going to get projections.
57:37Exactly. Great call. Great call. All right, Dave. I'm sorry.
57:40Well, whoever. I don't care. Any quick thoughts on Atlanta and thumping the Saints here?
57:44But this game, 45-24. Any thoughts on that? I mean, the offensive line for New Orleans was a disaster.
57:50And so bad news coming this week because of what Brian Flores is going to throw at Tyler Stock.
57:55They just can't run the ball. You know, so it's just a matter of if they get behind, it's those pass rushers, and they're coming from every angle.
58:04Are just going to pin their ears back and come right after Tyler Stock.
58:08And he seemed to have some sort of hand injury.
58:11They were talking about this on broadcast, his left hand, so hopefully he's fine.
58:15But he took a beating in that game. I know he didn't take a lot of sacks, but he took a beating in that game.
58:22And they couldn't stop the run. You know, so hopefully that's a positive sign for Aaron Jones on the other side of the ball.
58:29I think just looking at it as right now, another guy that we really haven't mentioned is Brian Robinson.
58:35It's been three quality games for him in a secondary role, and he's got four touchdowns now, three of them last night,
58:42but four touchdowns in his last two games. So there's a chance for him to be in the flex conversation, very similar
58:48to what we talk about with Blake Corum and Trevion Henderson and these, you know, high-end backups that play a lot.
58:54He's actually producing. So Penix is another quarterback. Like, he looks great.
58:58He's just not throwing a lot and getting a lot of, you know, he hasn't had a multiple touchdown game yet in the two starts that he had.
59:06But he looks like just very confident and, you know, not a huge game for Drake London, but he hits the big
59:13play to Jahan Dotson late in the game. I just think right now the Falcons look scary.
59:18Defense looks great. Saints just really, you know, took a huge step back in my mind.
59:22I thought that they were going to play well.
59:25I think, you know, we had Tyler suck at the start of the week.
59:29We all had Chuck as a top three or four, three or top five quarterback.
59:34And so just a huge letdown and not what you want to see going up against Minnesota for this week.
59:40Look, it was a little unlucky. You don't expect the way the team's been running the ball.
59:45You don't expect Alvin Kamara to have two short yardage touchdowns.
59:48That was annoying. Those could have been passing touchdowns.
59:51He's averaging 45 pass attempts per game. As I mentioned, Michael Penix has made two starts and he has thrown a combined 45 passes.
59:58And yet Drake London, a bad game yesterday for him.
60:0196 yards, five catches for 96 yards for Drake.
60:03Kyle Pitts played like half the snaps. He got benched.
60:06I think he's going to play more going forward.
60:09They kind of talked about it on the broadcast.
60:12They didn't really know why he was benched at the beginning of the game.
60:16But, you know, look, he had they designed a few plays for him.
60:20They lined him up at full back and threw a ball to him.
60:24Drop or keep Kyle Pitts 79% rostered. He's justified holding him at this point when we have so many injuries and so many teams dealing with replacement options.
60:32So, like what, what, what's the point? They are going to have to throw more.
60:36I don't know about this week because Lamar is not going to play.
60:40It seems Baltimore, Chicago, San Francisco the next three weeks.
60:43I think they're going to have to throw more.
60:46I don't know. Their run game looks so good right now that maybe they won't.
60:50But and then on Jake Matthews. Yeah. Matthews. Yeah.
60:53They're starting left tackle. He missed most of the game.
60:56I don't know what the deal was there. Okay.
60:59That's one to watch, but that that's a defense that I certainly thought wasn't going to be good coming into the year.
61:05And then you notice pretty quickly in week one, hey, they actually have some dudes up front acquiring Jervon Dexter was big
61:12and they're going to be tough to run on for sure.
61:15Heath talked about it last week too. And it's just something to keep in mind moving forward that this Atlanta team, they've
61:21got a lot of fundamentals that they're very good at.
61:24Somehow they have a great pass rush. They have the third best third highest pressure rate in the NFL with all the
61:31injuries and suspensions they've had at defensive end. It's crazy.
61:34How many sacks do they have? If you don't know, I'll look it up right now.
61:39They have only seven sacks. So they haven't. So they're getting pressure, but they're not getting to the quarterback per se.
61:45Right. They only sack shuck twice last night, but you watch the game.
61:49They obviously. Right. He was running for his life.
61:51Had a move in all over the place. Exactly.
61:54All right. Drop-o meter zero to 10. Chris Godwin.
61:57Nine. Ten. Emeka Buka. Zero. Six. Ja'Cory Krosky Merritt.
61:59One. Three. Make or break game for him against the Giants.
62:03Got to be good. Dalton Schultz. Chad White might be back and they've got Austin Eckler there.
62:08I don't know how much work he's going to get.
62:11Yeah, we got to see. He might get like 11 touches.
62:14Dalton Schultz. Who is the name? Dalton Schultz. Eight.
62:16Brian Thomas Jr. Ten. Four. Jacoby Myers. Zero. Four.
62:19Corlin Sutton. Two. It was a 10 before the Pat Bryant injury, so now I would say it's a five.
62:25Fair. Justin Herbert. Ten. Five. The dude is still rostered in 83% of leagues and he has the Broncos.
62:31He's not being started. Broncos, Chiefs, and a buy.
62:33Rams, Texans. Like, come on. Why are we holding him?
62:36And his offensive line is a mess again. He may not have his number one receiver.
62:41It's just like, what are you doing? And the Broncos might be a decent matchup this week, but not with those offensive line injuries.
62:48All right. To go through the quarterbacks here, the shallow league guys were Stroud and Darnold.
62:53Do you like Brissette better than both of them, Jamie?
62:56I like Brissette better than both of them this week, yes.
62:59All right. Stroud's got the Titans. They've been, they're only fifth, they're fifth best against quarterbacks.
63:04I don't really know if I buy it, but that's what it's been so far.
63:08You know, it's funny for, for a division opponent, he's missed so many games against them.
63:13Stroud has. Interesting. And Sam Darnold, you know, the Niners have been pretty good so far.
63:18And then he's at the Broncos Chiefs. Darnold is pretty like, pretty damn good.
63:22He's still very efficient. He scored 17 points last week with 22 pass attempts.
63:26So there could be something here, but when he has a good matchup, he's really good.
63:31Yeah. Almost 600 yards in his last two games combined and six touchdowns.
63:35So he's a, he's, he's a serviceable low end guy.
63:38Like I would start Brissett over him. I would start Stroud over him.
63:41I start Rogers over him. I'd start Winston over him.
63:44Like there's, there's ways to cousins over him. Yeah.
63:47But what about Jalen hurts? I would not start Jalen hurts at all.
63:51Jacoby Brissett, Kirk Cousins and Aaron Rogers, and then Jameis Winston.
63:54Those were the top four. How many of them would you start over Drake May this week?
63:59Uh, I'd go back to me. I think he looked good last week and again, schedule starting to lighten up a little bit.
64:06I know the Raiders are tougher than we thought, but I would, I would pivot back to Drake May.
64:12So Brissett, I would start over him and that's it.
64:15It wasn't even like, as far as completion rate goes, it wasn't even his best game of the year.
64:20He didn't even complete 60% of his passes. I just felt like they did a good job of getting him on the
64:27move and that might've unlocked him a little bit.
64:29And he had his timing down with Romeo Dobbs.
64:32I'm, I'm, I'm with you, Jamie, I'm encouraged by Drake May, but I would still rather start Brissett.
64:37I thought Drake May looked great, but I think the pass rush for the Raiders is really, really legit.
64:43I know. And it bothered him when they played last year was the first game of the year.
64:48So they're going to need to do something to make sure that Max Crosby doesn't ruin his day.
64:54Deshaun Watson scored only 15 fantasy points last week, but he had scored 23 or more each of the previous two weeks.
65:00He gets the jets. He runs, you know, he, I know the week wasn't a great game against Pittsburgh, but Judkins had a good game.
65:08It wasn't that bad of a game. All right.
65:10Deshaun Watson's still an option. Yeah. He's, he's in the conversation.
65:14You say he runs his 22 rushing yards or more in all four games.
65:18That's awesome. He actually lowered his average. He was averaging 35 yards per game in the first three games on the ground.
65:24So he's going to give you a, you know, two to three points on the ground, which is great.
65:30And, you know, hit that second touchdown. We're in, we're in good, a good spot with Deshaun Watson.
65:35If you need a quarterback this week, I have a, for example, I have a Lamar Jackson, Bryce young league.
65:41So I'm gonna have to carry three quarterbacks. Uh, there are enough of them where I don't know.
65:47You have to make it your first claim. I mean, preset's pretty attractive, but if, if you don't get preset, I don't
65:53think cousins, Rogers, Winston, and Watson are all getting picked up in your leagues.
65:57So you probably can let waivers run and though then go out a free agent.
66:02Correct. And then you got Tyson Bajan. And if you had to take one in a two QB league, who would you take this week?
66:09Huntley against Atlanta or Bajan against green Bay, both on the road for just a one week situation.
66:14I'd go Bajan. Me too. Okay. Any interest in Kyler Murray?
66:18Assuming Jefferson's back. No. Nominal interest, but I think you can make the case easily.
66:22You make the case for preset, Winston, Rogers, Stroud cousins, not in that order, but those five quarterbacks ahead of him, you
66:29can make the case potentially for Penix ahead of Kyler at this point.
66:32To, to be fair, we have yet to see him play a full game with Justin Jefferson.
66:38So that could change everything for Kyler, but you know, he's averaging under 12 fantasy points per game in two starts and
66:44not running to the level that I would like to see.
66:47Like he came into the season averaging almost 35 rushing yards per game.
66:51And he, I think he has that combined. If he, if TJ Hawkinson goes in the end zone, at least to get
66:58six more points for Kyler last week, but still wouldn't have been a good game.
67:02All right. Shallow league running backs, Camara, Charbonnet. Yeah.
67:05Who would you, who'd rather have guys? Camara, Charbonnet, Charbonnet, thinking rest of season, Charbonnet, Kalon Black, Jordan Mason, Mike Washington, Ollie
67:11Gordon, Ollie Gordon, or if Ollie Gordon were available, would he be the number one priority of any position this week?
67:18I would rather have Emmanuel Wilson, but you're not going to get Emmanuel Wilson to be your guy for the rest of the season.
67:25So like the only reason why I'm pushing back is because maybe Gordon can play a role for your fantasy team beyond
67:31week five and week six, and he could be the Dolphins for whatever it's worth.
67:36The Dolphins lead running back rest of season. He ended up being that in week four, and that was awesome.
67:42I just don't think he's going to have very many games like that, but you might have more from Gordon rest of season than you will from Wilson.
67:50Yeah. I would just take the chance on what if Wilson is the best running back for Seattle versus what if Gordon
67:56is the best running back for the Dolphins. For the record, I mean, the Bengals run defense was great the first two
68:03weeks, been pretty bad the last two weeks. That's Gordon's matchup this week.
68:07Jalen. To your point, to your point, Jamie. Is there a world where Charbonnet comes back but doesn't have the short yardage goal line role?
68:14Oh, I would think that that's what they're going to try and do, especially coming off the knee injury.
68:20But I'll ask you this question. Please. Let's say it's it's those are the two guys that the Seahawks are using Wilson
68:26and Charbonnet and Charbonnet is a short yardage guy who gets more touchdowns rest of season Wilson without the goal line role or Gordon with every role.
68:34That's a great question. Right. But we got we do have Jadarian price coming back at some point, so I don't know what's going to happen there.
68:42But all right. Woody Marks is another guy to take a look at.
68:46But the top waiver priority is Emmanuel Wilson, who's 64 percent rostered and was picked up in a lot of leagues.
68:52Now, this is not an easy run defense. The 49ers give up three point nine yards per carry to running backs.
68:59Then they get the Broncos, who have actually been a pretty bad run defense.
69:03Keaton Mitchell. Yeah, basically all three running backs played the same amount of snaps.
69:07Mitchell slightly ahead of the other two, but they all played about a third of the snaps.
69:12Mitchell had five catches a week after having three catches.
69:15So he's number two on this list. Will Shipley is third.
69:18We went through all the reasons why we don't love Will Shipley.
69:22They might they're going to elevate someone. We don't know if Shipley is going to be the lead back, but also it's
69:28a horrible matchup this week against Jacksonville. Then much, much better with Carolina.
69:32Carolina was really bad against the run in week one against the Bears.
69:36They haven't quite been that bad since actually, despite facing B.
69:39John and Gibbs. Brian Robinson, Jr., Austin Eckler, Jalen Wright, and then a whole bunch of handcuffs to add.
69:45Make sure you get, you know, the Emmitt Johnson's, the Tyler Algiers, etc.
69:49The Brian Robinson, Jr.'s at wide receiver. Oh, by the way, if you're in a deep league, would you pick up maybe Damian Pierce?
69:56Can I make the case? We don't know if he's going to be the guy.
70:00We think he's going to be the I wouldn't be surprised they add somebody.
70:04I mean, what about what about the Packers running backs if they were available?
70:08No interest. Not a lot of interest. All right.
70:11And then we got Devon Vele and we get some news on Josh Jacobs.
70:15I don't care if it's positive or negative. It's just something.
70:19We got Devon Vele, Xavier Worthy, and Trey Tucker, Wandale Robinson.
70:22Carnell Tate is 80% rostered. He's another guy. If he were out there, he might be your number one claim.
70:28Carnell Tate at 80% facing the Texans who give up the most fantasy points to the wide receivers.
70:33It's crazy, right? Yeah, it's insane. Do you think a lot of that has to do with who they've played?
70:39Yes. Sure. All right. Yes. I mean, that Colts passing game is just so scary.
70:43But DJ Moore, Jamar Chase, T Higgins, Keenan Allen, CeeD Lamb all had big games.
70:48Four of those guys are our studs. Josh Downs also had a really nice game.
70:52Daniel Jones just carved him up. Nine targets for Tate each of his last, at least nine for Tate each of his last two games.
71:00At least 11.8 PPR points. And Romeo Dobbs is also a shallow league guy.
71:04Tate, I'm sure, would be number, I think would be number one.
71:07But between Vele, Tucker, Worthy, Wandale, and Dobbs, who's your favorite?
71:11Bailey. I might say Dobbs. All right. Because eventually Jordan Tyson will play at some time.
71:15I did say Dobbs. Would you say Dobbs? Sorry, I was my cousin Vinny-ing.
71:20Tyreek Hill is our favorite wide receiver to get, but also if you need something more immediate, Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, Dante Myers.
71:26You know what? I'm not going through this. We already did this like four times today.
71:31It's so, it's so, so, so convoluted of what depends on this and depends on that.
71:36Like, this is one of those scenarios where it's very much in your favor and you won't even know what the Buffalo
71:42situation to have your waivers run on Wednesday. Yes, sir.
71:45Roman, we need to do, we need to make that a bigger point during the off season to recommend that commissioners move their waiver wire data Wednesday.
71:53Roman Wilson, six targets in every game. Trey Harris has stepped up.
71:57We like him a decent amount. We like him better than Quentin Johnson.
72:01Malik Washington, you know, if you want like nine, 10, 11 points, Malik Washington.
72:05He's averaging seven targets per game. He's gotten you 11 plus PPR points each the last two, 12 being the high.
72:11So it's not like he's doing a lot and touchdowns are clearly a problem.
72:15I just don't know what to expect when everybody's healthy because we haven't seen it yet.
72:20You know, we haven't seen Chris Bell in week one was banged up.
72:24Caleb Douglas from week two on has been banged up.
72:27So like, what, what does this look like? And maybe there's a lot of positives.
72:31I don't have high expectations. Maybe there's a lot of positives when everybody's on the field and we see a better Malik
72:38Willis, but it just has been such a, such a hard receiving court to judge right now.
72:43I don't think Washington's role changes dramatically with either of those guys coming back or both of those guys coming back, excuse me.
72:50But still like he he's, he's got a very safe floor of about 10 PPR points.
72:54I think is probably where he'll end up. It's been 10 or 11 each of the last two weeks.
73:00And so Douglas is day to day apparently. So he could be back this week.
73:05He's missed the last two games. We're all day to day, Adam.
73:08We're all day to day. Yeah. Malik Washington had 67 yards last week with Malik Willis throwing for 85 yards.
73:14That's pretty impressive. Darius Cooper had two touchdowns and number one wide receivers do well against Jacksonville, but who's the number one wide receiver for the Eagles?
73:22We just don't know. And I think it's Wicks.
73:25Yeah, probably. If I, if I had to start an Eagles wide receiver, I'd go back to Wicks and Keenan Allen, you know, he didn't play last week.
73:33Maybe he plays this week against Pittsburgh. Don't forget about it.
73:36There was a reason why we were telling you to pick up Keenan Allen last week.
73:41Same with that. I Mitchell a few weeks ago, Antonio Williams, eight targets, had a touchdown call back, faces the Giants this week with hopefully his quarterback.
73:49I think I'll throw Casey Concepcion out there as well.
73:52He's had 17 targets in his last two games.
73:55He's 64% rostered. They seem intent on getting him involved.
73:58So I don't, I don't want to necessarily start him.
74:01So this tells me that prioritizing wide receiver on the waiver wire, maybe outside of Tyreek Hill and the bills guys, depending
74:07on how desperate you are, doesn't have to be a thing.
74:10You don't have to prioritize receivers because throughout this entire show, we've named like nine receivers that you might be able to
74:17find off the waiver wire and use this week and expect 10 plus PPR points from.
74:22And that's been the norm in fantasy for years and years.
74:25Are you going to drop Khalif Raymond to get one of these guys?
74:29Depends what you need. I mean, it's hard to trust Khalif Raymond right now.
74:33I think there's a world where he comes back to relevance.
74:36I mean, two of four games, he was great and he did that with two different quarterbacks.
74:41One with Case Keenum, one with Caleb Williams. So when Williams is there, is that a guy that Caleb leans on as
74:48opposed to what Baygent did, which was Baygent leaning on more so than we've seen at any other point this season, Romo Dunze and Colson Loveland.
74:55So there's just, I think that's going to be potentially an issue for these Bears receivers all year long, which is unfortunate
75:02for us until maybe Caleb just settles on the guys that he favors the most.
75:06But that could be Raymond. So I think when you look at it, you know, and Dave laid it out, you know, pretty, pretty perfectly.
75:14Looking at like the Bengals guys or the Bills guys versus somebody like Roman Wilson, I would rather start a Bills replacement
75:20or a Bengals replacement if everybody's out over Roman Wilson this week.
75:24But you said it, Adam Wilson, six targets in every game so far.
75:28He's had two big plays each of the last two weeks that have resulted in his fantasy production spiking.
75:33And clearly Aaron Rodgers favors him over, over Michael Pittman or Keenan Allen, for example.
75:38Like you said, we were high on him going into last week.
75:41He has the late week groin injury that knocks him out for the game.
75:45So like you can't start Keenan Allen this week right now.
75:49That may change by the end of the week.
75:51So it depends on what you're looking for, you know, short term, long term, like you want to handcuff a Bengals receiver.
75:58Sure. Go out and, you know, spend some fab on Dante Myers.
76:01And at least you have that amazing receiving core locked up or Keon Coleman with, with DJ Moore, et cetera.
76:07But, you know, if you don't need anybody at that spot, you're in a good, good situation.
76:12Like take a long-term approach and, and maybe it's, you know, Roman Wilson.
76:16I'm trying to think anybody else that I may have not said, but I was tired kill, you know, the leader of that group.
76:23Right. All right. Let's take a quick look at the tight ends here.
76:27Drop stash or start. Kenyon Sadiq. Stash. Stash. All right.
76:30So the guys to get this week is sicky, but it's injury dependent.
76:34Higby and Hawkinson. Hawkinson's injury dependent. Not the best week for tight ends.
76:38Hunter Henry had five targets in 62 yards. Faces the Raiders.
76:41They, they, on paper, they're bad. But if you look at it, they may not be that bad against tight ends.
76:47Um, Brenton strange against the Eagles. Michael Mayer. He's pretty interesting, but he only, he had a touchdown two weeks ago.
76:54He had 10 targets in this last game facing the Patriots.
76:57They're number one against tight ends, but they've faced pretty easy competition except for Dalton Kincaid who did nothing against them.
77:03Right. They throw to Kincaid and he played half the game.
77:06And yeah, that's, that's pretty much, I think mayor is going to be open for a pass catcher.
77:12He might be Michael Mayer. I mean, you're starting in a flex.
77:15You started Michael Mayer or Trey Tucker. I would start mayor if, if Gonzalez plays.
77:20It's a good way to go about it. Yeah.
77:22It's a week to week thing for sure. Someone asked me who's my Kalief Raymond this week.
77:27Cause I went big on Kalief Raymond. I think it'd be Keon Coleman.
77:31It'd probably be my Kalief Raymond. So don't. So if that's holds, then do not pick up Keon Coleman.
77:37Cause he'll be horrible and you'll drop them next week.
77:40A couple of things said about me in the chat that are not true.
77:44Adam puts ketchup on his steak. I would never do that.
77:47I don't put anything on my steak. If steak is good, it doesn't need sauce.
77:52And Adam is a Star Trek guy. I'm guessing people were making fun of my Star Trek shirt.
77:57Uh, no, I'm not. I've never seen Star Trek.
78:00Saw the movie once upon a time, but, uh, I'll just say next generation because, uh, I don't know the other one that you're referencing.
78:07There are a lot of great Star Trek episodes on Paramount plus.
78:11Oh, there you go. We will talk to you tomorrow.
78:14Actually, we'll talk to you at noon on CBS Sports Network, uh, for fantasy football today.
78:18See you later, everybody. Don't podcasts. It was a gruesome discovery off a dirt road in Georgia.
78:23Hunters had found a body. Was it immediately clear to you that this woman had been murdered?
78:28Yes. But who was this mystery woman in the woods?
78:31That looks like Mindy. I'm Erin Moriarty, and from 48 Hours, this is The Woman in the Woods.
78:37I have never wanted to be wrong like this in my whole entire life.
78:41Follow and listen to The Woman in the Woods wherever you get your podcasts.
