Baker Mayfield

NegativeInjury28:46

Baker Mayfield is expected to miss at least three weeks due to a dislocated thumb.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection20:22

Bo Nix is not considered a must-roster player despite a big game against the Rams. While he had a rushing touchdown and some design runs, the Broncos' passing game lacks rhythm and consistency.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveValue12:32

If Breece Hall were to miss time, Braylon Allen is a preferred waiver target over the Dolphins' running backs because the Jets' offensive line and scheme are superior, and the offense is more capable of scoring points.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeUsage36:58

Brian Thomas Jr. played less than 40% of snaps in his most recent game, appearing to be punished for drops in the previous week, making him difficult to trust for fantasy lineups.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveProjection40:51

The source identifies Brock Bowers as a potential league-winner and a top-tier tight end, noting he was used as a focal point mismatch receiver, split out as an X and in the slot. Despite a debate over whether Trey McBride is safer, the source argues Bowers' usage and the improved arm strength of his quarterback make him a top-three or four tight end rest-of-season if he stays healthy.

Insight page
PositiveProjection58:46

Brock Bowers is considered the TE2 for the rest of the season, with the Raiders' offensive design consistently creating favorable matchups for him.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveUsage51:49

Chase Brown maintains a strong 75% opportunity share and 62.5% route share, including 90% of two-minute drill snaps; the source expects touchdowns to come and views him as a high-value asset.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveUsage52:33

Chuba Hubbard is a true workhorse back with an 82% opportunity share, 70.6% route share, and heavy involvement in two-minute and third-down work, making him a reliable weekly fantasy play.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveValue17:15

Davante Adams continues to prove he is one of the best values in fantasy drafts on a per-game basis, evidenced by his 7-catch, 137-yard performance on 13 targets against the Broncos.

Insight page

David Montgomery

NegativeUsage44:17

David Montgomery had a down week but still played two-thirds of snaps and ran more routes than Woody Marks; the source advises against panicking despite the goal-line usage being annoying.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeInjury2:08

Devon Achane is out for the season due to a significant injury.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveRole48:54

Drake London was moved around the formation in Week 3, playing at X, Z, and slot positions, and was the focal point of the passing game; the source is excited about his outlook as long as Michael Penix is the quarterback.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeValue38:20

The source suggests Drake Maye is droppable in leagues with limited bench spots (4-5) because his rushing production has declined and the offense lacks explosive playmakers, leading to few touchdown opportunities. While he showed flashes of his previous form with a 38-yard completion to Demario Douglas, his decision-making remains poor, highlighted by inexplicable interceptions and a lack of confidence due to poor offensive line play and receivers failing to get open.

Insight page
NegativeBust57:11

Drake Maye is struggling with poor decision-making and a 7.5% interception rate; the source considers him droppable due to the lack of talent and separation in the Patriots' receiving corps, despite upcoming favorable matchups.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeDepth Chart29:12

The Giants acquired J.J. McCarthy for a fifth-round pick. He is viewed as a better scheme fit than Jameis Winston due to his mobility and ability to throw on the run, though he is not currently a fantasy priority.

Insight page
NegativeRole31:54

J.J. McCarthy could potentially play this year if Jameis Winston continues to struggle, but the source believes the offense would remain a low-upside, ball-control scheme.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeUsage33:52

Jadarian Price was benched for fumbling, marking his second straight game with a fumble; the source notes this has caused his snap count to drop and puts his role in jeopardy as Zach Charbonnet nears a return.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveInjury38:29

Jalen Coker received good news regarding his quad injury and is considered day-to-day, with the source expecting at most a one-week absence.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeProjection30:43

Jameis Winston is struggling and does not look like the player seen against the Lions last year; the source notes he looks 'off' from an arm standpoint and the offense lacks upside, functioning as a ball-control unit.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveUsage21:51

Jalen Waddle's production is inconsistent due to the lack of rhythm in the Broncos' passing game. While he can see high target volume, he is prone to 'empty volume' games.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeUsage6:37

Jalen Wright missed week three with a foot injury and a stinger. In two games where Achane missed or left early last year, Wright saw 24 carries to Ollie Gordon's five, and 13 carries to Gordon's nine, though he struggled to record catches.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveValue64:32

Jeremiah Love is a preferred dynasty asset over Ashton Gentry, following a breakout week three where he secured primary carries, catches, and goal-line work.

Insight page

Josh Allen

NegativeInjury28:32

Josh Allen suffered a knee injury and is expected to miss time, with Case Keenum likely to start in his place.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveUsage47:36

Josh Downs recorded 172 air yards in Week 3, a career high, indicating he is being used in more diverse, explosive roles beyond just short-area routes.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveProjection59:11

Kirk Cousins is playing phenomenal football, demonstrating elite anticipation, timing, and accuracy while operating effectively within the Raiders' scheme, though he remains a wait-and-see for full trust in one-quarterback leagues.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveUsage49:21

Ladd McConkey's usage is concerning as his average route depth has increased and his slot usage has declined (28.6% in Week 3). The source notes he is more efficient out wide, but the Chargers' poor offensive line and Justin Herbert's lack of time make it difficult for McConkey to succeed as a vertical receiver. He currently has only one target of five or fewer air yards compared to 44 last season.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeUsage44:44

Malik Nabers is struggling with route participation, running only 77% of routes, which is below the 90% threshold desired for elite receivers. His recent production has been limited (six catches for 27 yards over two games), and the Giants' conservative, weather-impacted game plan combined with the quarterback situation makes it difficult to be enthused about his immediate outlook.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveProjection16:56

Matthew Stafford is considered one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, ranking in the top three for processing and top five in arm talent, making the Rams' offense a locked-in unit for the rest of the season.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveBreakout46:57

Michael Wilson had a breakout Week 3 with a 34% target share and 50% air yardage share, finishing as the WR4; he appears to have a strong connection with Jacoby Brissett.

Insight page
PositiveUsage55:11

Michael Wilson has seen a target share of 27% or better over the last two weeks and is becoming a viable late-round asset. He saw a significant increase in high-value targets in Week 3, including five red-zone, two green-zone, and four end-zone targets. The addition of screen passes to his usage provides a floor of cheap fantasy points.

Insight page
PositiveValue57:52

Michael Wilson is a viable late-round fantasy asset who has consistently recorded seven or more targets in every game this season.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveUsage62:20

Mike Washington Jr. is showing more efficiency than Ashton Gentry in the Raiders' zone run scheme, appearing to see the field and process the play better despite limited touches.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon

PositiveRole7:22

Ollie Gordon is the preferred Dolphins running back option for the source due to his power-running profile and history as a workhorse back at Oklahoma State. While the offense may struggle to score, Gordon is viewed as the primary red-zone threat.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeUsage52:22

Rashee Rice showed flashes of speed and efficiency in the first half of his recent game, including a 34-yard catch, but appeared to labor and lose effectiveness in the second half. He remains the primary target for the Chiefs, recording seven catches for 88 yards on nine targets, though the source is monitoring whether he can sustain his performance level.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeUsage54:11

Rhamondre Stevenson leads the Patriots backfield in opportunity share (52.6%) and route share, but the source remains skeptical of the entire Patriots offense due to poor offensive line play and lack of receiving talent.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveRole18:30

R.J. Harvey is playing the 'joker' role in Sean Payton's offense, which is highly valuable for PPR formats due to his potential for targets, explosive plays, and touchdowns.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

NegativeRole24:56

Terrence Ferguson is an exciting player, but his usage is inconsistent. He is not a mandatory roster hold, and fantasy managers should wait to see if Puka Nacua returns before making decisions.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

NegativeUsage60:04

Trey Tucker is a volatile fantasy option, described as a 'box of chocolates,' but he is expected to be second on the team in targets and should not be dropped.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveUsage41:02

Trey McBride remains a high-volume tight end with 34 targets through three games, averaging eight or more catches per game. While the source debates his upside compared to Brock Bowers, McBride is firmly established as a top-two tight end based on his consistent target volume.

Insight page
NegativeValue65:02

Brock Bowers is currently ranked higher than Trey McBride for the rest of the season.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveUsage45:46

Tyler Warren saw 10 targets and a 29% target share in Week 3, signaling a shift toward him being a key cog in the passing game rather than just a gadget player.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

PositiveDepth Chart35:02

Zach Charbonnet is nearing a return from his ACL injury, and the source suggests he could potentially take over as a 'one-man show' in the backfield if Jadarian Price continues to struggle with fumbles.

0:58That's Stitch Fix.com slash football. This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
1:02What a play! Can you believe this? I had no idea.
1:05It's time to dominate your fantasy league. Off to the races and he stays on his feet.
1:09He's just gonna go the distance. Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
1:14We are taking you beyond the box score here on Fantasy Football Today.
1:18Welcome. It is Monday, September 28th. And this was one of the most head-spinning weeks that we're gonna have all year, I think, Dan.
1:24We had crazy games. We had amazing finishes. What a game last night.
1:28Sunday night, Rams and Broncos. We also have this horrible season-ending injury to Devon HM, which we're gonna talk about.
1:34We've got J.J. McCarthy to the Giants, which we're gonna talk about.
1:37Is your head spinning like mine is? Completely. And, you know, it was so obvious how weird this week was when I
1:43did an article that I always write for CBS Sports every Sunday night, which kind of looks at the breakouts from the
1:49week, the early waiver wires, and I do a small panic meter.
1:53And when I was looking at the breakouts part of the week and the waiver wire, the guys that were up top
1:59from a scoring standpoint last year in Fantasy were, one, all wide receivers.
2:03It was not a good week for running backs.
2:05Wait, last year or last week? This week, outside of the top guys, like Gibbs and Bijan, like as far as like new guys bursting onto the scene.
2:13Not a lot of back options. And the receivers who were up there were just surprising names that you don't expect.
2:19You walk into this next week coming up in week four and you're like, I don't know who I'm starting in these
2:25flex spots, but it's gonna be some weird names coming up.
2:28And obviously now with the injuries, it's gonna be a very interesting fantasy week coming up.
2:33And I think I'm excited. Also, maybe we'll give you a little Jacob Gibbs impression today because unfortunately we don't have Jacob today.
2:39He's under the weather. Woke up insanely sick. And I know that feeling.
2:43Adam obviously knows that feeling as well. I think Adam's sick like 73 to 75% of the year.
2:48You've been sick much more recently than I have been.
2:51Like if you're using a small recency bias based sample size, yes, you can make that statement.
2:55But over the course of my existence on this show and your existence on the show, you're way more sick than I am on a more consistent basis.
3:03And everyone who watches knows that. I mean, yeah, but that's anyone who has little kids understands that.
3:08So that's what happens. They go to school. They all get sick.
3:12They bring it home. Anyway, Devon A-chan is out for the season.
3:15By the way, our big topics today, we're only gonna have three big topics today.
3:19We're gonna talk about the Raiders. The Raiders have scored at least 26 points in every game so far.
3:25They did not do that in regulation once in 2025.
3:27Not once. They did it once in overtime when they scored a touchdown, but that was it.
3:32We're talking about the Raiders and their surprising start.
3:35Michael Wilson's big game with 17 targets against San Francisco, and he gets the Giants in week four.
3:40And what is the problem with Drake May? This may not even be a fantasy question.
3:44Maybe just a football question. What is going on with Drake May?
3:48We're gonna have fun with screenshots, and we'll talk about the tape we've watched.
3:52We'll talk about Malik Nabors, a little bit on the Chargers.
3:55Right now, let's look at the Miami Dolphins running backs.
3:57With Devon A-chan out for the season, Jalen Wright missed week three with a foot injury.
4:02He also has a stinger, and we got Ollie Gordon, 17 carries and three catches, 20 touches, but 41 yards and a touchdown on those 17 carries.
4:10Now, last year, we had two games where A-chan missed.
4:12Different coaching staff, totally different scenario here, but two games where A-chan either missed or left early.
4:17And in those games, Jalen Wright had 24 carries to Ollie Gordon's five, and Jalen Wright had 13 carries to Ollie Gordon's nine.
4:24Jalen Wright had three targets but no catches in one of those games.
4:27He had two catches in the other. Ollie Gordon didn't have a catch in those two games.
4:32So, which – I guess I can't really say, like, pretend they're both healthy because they're not.
4:37But which running back are you looking at here for the Dolphins, and what's your take on it?
4:42I think regardless of the health, it would be Ollie Gordon for me because the power running element he adds, and this
4:48is something we knew when he was drafted at Oklahoma State, was also the player who, out of Jalen Wright and him,
4:54had a larger sample size of actually carrying the full workload and being the workhorse back at Oklahoma State, was in the mix for a Heisman.
5:02His second to last year in college was one of the better players in college football that year.
5:07Didn't have a great senior year. Fell to the sixth round of the draft because of it.
5:11But clearly, as you saw in his touchdown from this week, has that power element to his game.
5:16I don't think either is going to be too valuable for fantasy, I'm going to be honest.
5:21This feels very dead zone-y. This feels very back on an offense that can't really score points.
5:26But if you want to go for something, you've got to go for the guy who you think profiles better as a
5:32red zone option and the better option to give you those six points that you get from a touchdown.
5:38And that's Ollie Gordon to me for sure. Even if we come back and we're like, oh, he's not getting the passing
5:44down work at him, I don't care as much.
5:46I feel like that's a bit overrated in fantasy.
5:49What it really comes down to is who are they going to trust in the red zone?
5:54But the reality is there aren't going to be too many of those red zone trips.
5:58Yeah, I mean, there'll be enough. You know, look, Devon Achan scored 10.6 PPR fantasy points in week one, 12.3 in week two.
6:05That's terrible for Devon Achan. If I got that from Jalen Wright or Ollie Gordon, I'd be really happy about it.
6:10But you won't because they'll split, right? They'd have to score.
6:13And Achan hasn't scored yet. Yes, you figure they are going to split.
6:17I kind of would lean toward Wright if he were healthy.
6:20I don't know what this foot issue is. He's not on IR, so I don't think it's a long-term thing.
6:26They could always put him on IR. A stinger is usually not a long-term thing.
6:30I would probably lean Wright because he'll catch more balls.
6:33But yeah, I could definitely see Ollie Gordon being the goal line back and taking Wright off the field.
6:38It's not great. If you're looking short-term, we're not going to get an update on Brees Hall until Wednesday, apparently.
6:44But I think Braylon Allen, if Brees Hall were to miss a game, like Braylon Allen would be better.
6:49Plus, you do have the Dolphins at Minnesota this week, which isn't great.
6:53But I can't sit here. I agree with you.
6:55It's not going to be great for fantasy, but I can't sit here in the 12 non-dynasty leagues that I'm in and
7:02say I'm not going to put any claims in or any bids in for these Dolphins running backs because anyone who gets
7:08work is valuable once the injuries hit and once the bye weeks hit, which begin in week five.
7:13There's value there. For sure. And I'm not saying that either.
7:16What I am saying is this is not the – if you have your – and the way that free agent budget
7:22works, typically you have your one big play a year you can make essentially.
7:26This is not my big play spend for the year by any means on either of these players.
7:31Is it even a 30% spend? Not for me.
7:34I want to save my budget for the big play.
7:36That's how I view it. I view FAB as a very interesting thing.
7:40I think you should be saving your budget most of the year and then making one big splurge when you feel it's right.
7:47And this is just not even close to reaching that radar for me with either of these two players.
7:52But if you want to say Brees Hall's out for four weeks, I'm okay with going that route for Braylon Allen because
7:58one, the Jets' offensive line has looked much better than the Dolphins.
8:01The Jets' scheme, despite everybody kind of crushing Frank Reich, has looked a lot better than this Bobby Slowick Dolphins scheme.
8:07And let's be honest, Geno Smith's playing pretty good football right now.
8:11I watch the games and he's pretty accurate. I agree.
8:14That's an offense that I think can actually score points.
8:16So that one to me is like maybe I only get him for four weeks versus the year with these Dolphins backs,
8:22but I'm actually getting real production during those four weeks.
8:25Yeah. It's just the thing is if you're in a league where, you know, a guy like Ray Davis is owned or,
8:31you know, rostered and will continue to be most likely, I mean, it could get dropped during bye weeks.
8:37That happens. You may not get that big splash play for Fab.
8:40You know, you may not have that opportunity. It's like Kalen Black.
8:44There's not a single league where Kalen Black is available, right?
8:47Like for me, for me, there is for a lot of people, but you just have to know what kind of leagues you're playing.
8:53And maybe these are the, some of the better opportunities you're going to get this year, but maybe not.
8:59You never know. All right. All right. That's the Dolphins situation.
9:02We got two shows every week that air on CBS Sports Network.
9:05They don't always air on CBS Sports Network, but they do air on HQ regardless of whether or not they're on CBS Sports Network.
9:12And that would be at noon Eastern on CBS Sports Network.
9:15And they are Tuesdays and Thursdays, Tuesday waiver wire, Thursdays, little start or sit rankings.
9:19And those are on CBS Sports Network. You can just watch them on TV, which is pretty cool.
9:24And if you miss them, you can see them on HQ and you can see them at youtube.com slash fantasy football today.
9:31Let's get into Denver and the Rams. Denver 30, Rams 26.
9:34Rams had the ball for 34 minutes and 29 seconds.
9:36They ran 82 plays and they came up short.
9:39And yeah, what were your big takeaways from, from this one, this thriller last night?
9:43It was a thrilling game, honestly. It was really fun to watch.
9:47You know, you see in my mind from the rant, let's start with the Rams side of the ball.
9:52You just see how productive that offense could be throughout this season when they're doing this without their first and let's say
9:58third option in the passing game, because that's what Terrence Ferguson was in week two.
10:02And that's what the plan was for him in week three before he got hurt.
10:06And so you're eliminating all these players. And then you see guys like Kanata Mumfield, who's got some hype, look great.
10:12And is he looking great? Or is Matthew Stafford just that good at football?
10:16I think Stafford at this point is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
10:21He's proven that week after week for both fantasy and real life because he's one of the best processors, top three in
10:27that regard, and still has top five arm talent.
10:29That combination will lead to things like this, like Higby coming up out of nowhere, and Mumfield coming up out of nowhere.
10:35Devontae Adams still proving to be the best value, you know, every year one of the best value in fantasy drafts on a per-game basis.
10:42This is a high-powered offense that can put up this amount of yards and points against a great Broncos defense in Denver
10:49despite losing its first and third options in the passing game.
10:52So to me, this is a locked-in unit for the rest of the season.
10:56The Broncos kind of having a weird season on that side of the ball, Adam.
11:00It's like they get off to these slow starts, and then they find their way, it almost seems like.
11:05Not through Waddle. After week two was through Waddle, this was a completely different game, different game plan.
11:10I think R.J. Harvey being back is a big part of their offense and will continue to be.
11:15He's essentially playing the joker role in Sean Payton's offense, and I know it's Davis Webb calling the plays, but it's still
11:22Sean Payton's offense, and that role is always going to be valuable.
11:25If he's going to continue to play that role, that's a PPR scam type of role with the option to occasionally break
11:31that into a random touchdown or a random big play.
11:34And that, to me, is more valuable than a lot of the running backs that we start at this point, especially on these dead zone teams.
11:41That don't really have, you know, you may get eight to ten more touches out of Judkins, but personally, I'd rather the touches I get from R.J.
11:49Harvey with the potential for actual touchdowns and explosive plays.
11:52So he's the one who stood out to me the most in that Broncos offense as something that I took away from the game.
11:58And then obviously outside of that, you have, I think that pretty much covers how I feel about the Rams and Broncos.
12:05I think it's a pretty easy game. A couple of easy teams to break down.
12:09Like you're going to start Kyron Williams every week, and even though he may not get, he did in this game, but
12:15look, Matthew Stafford threw 56 times in this game.
12:17So, or 55, pardon me. Anytime that happens, it's going to be an exciting day.
12:22For the Broncos, like Bo Nix, it's going to be kind of tough, I think, to predict.
12:26Thankfully, he did run three or four times in this game, design runs.
12:30I think he ran four design runs in this game, had only three coming in, had the rushing touchdown at the end,
12:36but he's still not running that much. And I, like, even though he had a huge game here against the Rams, I
12:42don't really consider him a must roster player. He's fine, but you know, whatever.
12:46Like Nix is, is fine. Again, Dobbins 19% started.
12:49I don't know if that's because he came into the game injured or it was facing the, the Rams are going to have an amazing run defense.
12:57I think that's seems pretty clear here. As long as Aaron Donald is playing.
13:00Yeah. I don't really want to start Dobbins if I can avoid it in PPR leagues, but non or half PPR, he
13:07should still get a lot of carries and he'll have better days than this.
13:11Waddle is interesting. We'll go to the Rams in a second, but like Jalen Waddle's had three terrible, three great games, one
13:17amazing, eight catches, 138 yards on 10 targets. And the other two, a combined three catches for 12 yards on 10 targets.
13:23He saw a decent amount of, of their top corner, McDuffie, pardon me, but I think when their other corner, Jalen Watson
13:29got hurt, I think that kind of stopped and they changed their scheme a little bit.
13:34But so it wasn't like last week, neighbors was shut down by McDuffie.
13:37Right. It was not that. I don't know exactly what the deal was with Jalen Waddle, but it was disappointing.
13:43However, if he's going to get seven targets, most weeks, I think he's going to be worth starting.
13:48I just, you know, I'm not a huge Waddle guy.
13:51I know you were, but I was preseason. Yeah.
13:53And it looked like in week two, we got some semblance of what the upside could be, but obviously now we see
13:59based on week three, there is still downside with this Waddle situation.
14:03I just think generally speaking, the problem with assuming Waddle could be what I hoped he would be in the preseason is
14:09that there's not a lot of rhythm to this Broncos passing game.
14:12There are big moments where they have like Bo Nix gun on design, roll out, and he makes a big throw, but
14:19there's just not a lot of rhythm. It's not a rhythmic passing game.
14:22The rhythmic passing games, the Rams, the Cowboys, the, the Bengals.
14:25These are the ones where I think you can project more week to week production, even with the volume, but you could
14:31get kind of what I would call empty volume.
14:34Like we got in this game of Jalen Waddle.
14:37Yeah. Yeah. It's a good point. I love that.
14:39It's a good call that they don't have any rhythm.
14:42I don't know that they have much of an identity.
14:45The Rams are awesome though, offensively. And yeah, they have rhythm.
14:48Devante Adams versus Sertan was so fun, but Adams clearly got the better of him.
14:52Seven catches, 137 yards on 13 targets. Look at this play for Terrence Ferguson, folks.
14:56This was in the first quarter and it's, and he's going, yo, Jacob and Dan are going to feel so validated if
15:02you throw this ball to me because he is streaking wide.
15:06I would have won my fantasy matchup. If he catches this pass.
15:09And I think I would have been not chopped in a guillotine league.
15:13If he just gets this. Oh really? Yeah. That's a 43 yard touchdown.
15:16If Matthew Stafford sees him, but he didn't see him.
15:19And he, he's a good player and I don't give up on him yet, but I do think look, Higby had a big game because Ferguson barely played.
15:27Yeah. Yeah. And Puka didn't play. But I, I hope there's, there's good days ahead for Ferguson.
15:32Cause he's an exciting player. I just don't know.
15:34I think that there's going to be some days where it's other tight ends.
15:38You know? I don't think you have to roster Ferguson.
15:41You also don't have to cut them. Let's see if Puka comes back first.
15:45It's not a guarantee that Puka comes back. All right.
15:48That's pretty much it. They're at Philadelphia next week.
15:50We'll see what they do. That's a tough stretch there of Denver and Philadelphia and back to back weeks, but they scored 26 points at Denver.
15:57News and notes. We'll, we'll take a break. We'll take a break here.
16:01Catch our breath. And I don't know. I'd love to hear a Jacob impression.
16:05You want to give that before break? After break?
16:08I'll do that when I present the stats that are just cherry picking from his Twitter.
16:12So I'm going to do my best. Okay. Okay.
16:15All right. We'll be right back on fantasy football today.
16:17I'm going to talk to you right now about Omaha steaks.

17:09Terms apply. See site for details. Okay, we are back.
17:12We are back. And Josh Allen, hopefully okay with the knee injury.
17:15We'll see. Got hit in the knee. Case Keenum expected to start tonight.
17:19So I don't think that Tyson patient is going to come and save the day.
17:23It's going to be most likely case Keenum against the Eagles.
17:26Baker Mayfield got good news. It's not a terribly long-term injury, but it is going to be at least three weeks as of right now.
17:33Oh, you saw three? Okay. I saw two to four.
17:36Okay. I think Todd Bowles said at least three weeks.
17:39Okay. All right. Let's throw it in the three-ish range.
17:41Dislocated thumb. So those are games against Green Bay at Dallas and Pittsburgh.
17:45Bryce Young limped off. We'll see if there's any issues there.
17:48And he came back, but I think maybe at less than 100%.
17:52And the Giants acquired J.J. McCarthy for a fifth-round pick in next year's drafts.
17:56What do you think about that? I talked about this a little bit on the Big Blue Banter Giants podcast.
18:01I'm personally for it, but I'm a gambler. And this is how I view things.
18:05To me, the fifth-round pick is just not a high opportunity cost.
18:09Throughout the last 25 years of my Giants fandom, the only fifth-round picks that have mattered have been David Deal and Kevin Boss.
18:15You can argue Darius Slayton and Tyron Tracy, but the reality is both were easily replaced for nothing.
18:20Najee Harris, a vet minimum deal for Tracy, and then Darnell Mooney, a borderline vet minimum deal for Slayton.
18:26And they're both more productive than those guys were.
18:28So the reality is they're almost giving up nothing from that standpoint, if you really truly look at the history.
18:34And the hope is that he fits the scheme better.
18:37He's only 24 years old. He can move. You can do all the things that you design for Jackson Dart with him
18:43better than you can with Jameis because he can actually move the pocket.
18:46He can run a little bit on zone read, and he can throw on the run better than Jameis.
18:52The third point is Jameis doesn't look right. Something looks off.
18:55He doesn't look like the player we saw against the Lions last year from an arm standpoint.
19:00I don't know what it is. It could just be it was bad weather and a small sample size.
19:05But at least now you have some insurance at the cost of a fifth-round pick.
19:09So from that standpoint, it's interesting. From a fantasy standpoint, I wouldn't look too much into this.
19:14I do think J.J. could play this year. If Jameis continues to play bad and they don't win games, he could play.
19:20I just don't think it will necessarily matter. The offense will look very much like the dart offense, but just without any upside to it.
19:27It'll just be a ball control type of offense.
19:30Yeah. As far as neighbors goes, we'll talk about him in a little bit.
19:34I don't want J.J. McCarthy to be the quarterback.
19:36For neighbors, it's very bad potentially. I mean, it would mean that Jameis has been so bad that he hasn't been good for neighbors probably.
19:43And then McCarthy's coming in. I'd rather just Jameis start playing better.
19:47It was really bad weather. I really think this is almost an end-of-the-line week for the Giants passing game.
19:52If they can't figure it out against the Cardinals this week, I'm going to have very little hope for them going forward.
19:58They'll have Washington the next week. The next two weeks, they've got to get something going in the right direction.
20:04It's getting late, early for the Giants passing game.
20:06I think we can talk. Are we going to talk neighbors now or later?
20:10No, we'll do it in just a bit. So the running back news, we got two A-chans hurt.
20:15Devon's out for the year. And Travis has the hamstring injury.
20:18The commander signed Austin. What about Jefferson? Did we get to him?
20:22No, not yet. Okay. The commander signed Austin Eckler, which is interesting because Rashad White left with a shoulder injury, but then I believe he came back.
20:29But we'll see if that is related in any way.
20:32Jadarian Price. Okay, this is an embarrassing thing for me.
20:35I did not see this, that he got benched for fumbling yesterday.
20:38Yes. I'm sitting there going, why was the snap count so low?
20:42Why did all these guys get all these plays?
20:44Bad fumble. I also think there was a play with Emmanuel Wilson, I think it was a first and goal, where he tried to bounce to the outside.
20:52And he got caught. And I just like, Jadarian Price probably scores on that play.
20:56This is so stupid. But they don't care. He fumbles the ball.
21:00I mean, he's made a lot of rookie mistakes already.
21:02And we're at the point now, Adam, where we're nearing the Charbonnet return.
21:06Yeah. Which could be really interesting for fantasy. If Price has another one of these fumbles that cost them, or at least
21:12in the mind of the coaching staff, potentially came close to costing them the game.
21:16It certainly flipped the momentum of that game at the time Price fumbled.
21:20It could be more of a one-man show than I think anyone's expecting, depending on how Charbonnet returns from this.
21:26Because it's not like there's limitations for these players when they come back from the ACL.
21:30There's oftentimes production misses, and they take a drop back from – or I'm sorry.
21:34They drop off from the standpoint of production. But from a playing time standpoint, you see a lot of these guys come
21:41back from the ACL and play their normal complement of snaps.
21:44And this is the second straight game with a fumble for Jadarian Price.
21:47So this is important for sure. Tajay Spears left with an ankle injury.
21:51He came back, but he's probably going to be on the injury report this week, Tajay Spears.
21:56Bucky Irving, Dave showed me a clip of his last snap where he got absolutely smashed in pass protection.
22:01And I'm wondering if Bucky Irving is hurt. That was early in the fourth quarter, and that was the last time he played.
22:08That's one to monitor. And Brees Hall again. We're not going to know until Wednesday, I think, on Brees Hall, unless some reporter leaks something.
22:15I don't know. But there's another player who is benched, it seems.
22:18That was Brian Thomas Jr. He played less than 40% of the snaps.
22:22He had a couple of drops the previous week.
22:24And the recap I read made it seem like he was sort of being punished for that.
22:29So it's hard for me to sit here and tell you to keep Brian Thomas Jr.
22:33on your team. We got Mike Evans leaving with the ribs injury.
22:37All right. What do you want to talk about with Justin Jefferson?
22:40He's got the ankle. No, I just want to see if there was an update yet on the ankle.
22:46After the game, KOC said that he could have potentially tried to come back in the game, was trying to.
22:51Maybe it's nothing serious. I don't know. But it was a close game, and they didn't try to bring him back in.
22:57So I'm definitely concerned on that one. Yeah. And hey, Jackson Dart once upon a time was supposed to come back in the game, right?
23:04Don't bring that back up. Xavier Hutchinson left with an injury, which I didn't realize.
23:09And Jalen Coker left in the third quarter with a quad injury.
23:12But he got good news. Coker got good news.
23:15He's going to be day to day. I really hope he plays this week against the Lions.
23:19You want to start everyone against the Lions. But after that, they have a bye.
23:24So I think with Coker probably looking at most, based on the report this morning, a one-week absence at most.
23:29We have Jack Besch with a broken arm, unfortunately.
23:32We have Tyreek Hill tweeting that it's almost time to get off the couch and get to work.
23:37All right, Tyreek Hill. You guys saw that. Yeah.
23:39Jalen McMillan got her. Where's he going? What's that?
23:42Where's he going? Chiefs. A lot of teams could use him.
23:45Chiefs will be fun, the way Mahomes is playing right now.
23:48And Garrett Wilson cleared of the concussion, so he's okay.
23:51Terrence Ferguson with the ankle injury. A lot of offensive line stuff here.
23:54Oh, yeah. Baltimore with their centers. New England lost right guard Greg Van Roten.
23:58After losing their right tackle last week. Yeah. We'll talk about that later on the four-tie.
24:03Did they lose their right tackle last week or their right guard last week?
24:07I was saying. He might have played. He might have been playing.
24:10He was their guard last year, but I thought he was playing right tackle for them this year because his low moon wasn't ready.
24:17Let me just take a look. I'm not exactly sure if he was playing right guard still for them or if he was moved to right tackle.
24:24No, you're right. He was their right guard. They still have Morgan Moses as right tackle.
24:29Okay. Yeah, no, I had said tackle as well, but then Dave corrected me.
24:33Yeah, it was the right guard. Carolina offensive guard Damian Lewis left with an elbow injury.
24:37And Carolina actually had some bad news too because not only did Damian Lewis leave, but they had Mike Jackson leave with a groin injury.
24:44And JC Horn, their star cornerback, is going – it seems like going to go on IR with a quad injury.
24:50You've got, let's see, Brian Burns out for the season.
24:53Did that look like a MetLife turf one? It's another one of these where after the game, John Harbour was like, I
24:59think we got lucky and we avoided the worst.
25:02All of a sudden, you hear the news the next day and he's out.
25:06This is two of the Giants' most four indispensable players out for the season in week three.
25:11So, brutal. I don't know if it's the turf.
25:13I don't know if it was a compensation injury.
25:16That happens sometimes when you're playing through an injury, but it's bad, man.
25:19Washington lost linebacker Leo Chennau for the season. It's a big one.
25:23And you look at it again, and the Cowboys are super beat up.
25:26And those three NFC East teams, the Giants, Cowboys, Commanders, are three teams that you want to stream against.
25:32Those look like great matchups. All right. I'll skip that.
25:34All right. Let's get into the snap counts and the routes and the tape and the topics.
25:39You want to start or do you want me to start?
25:42You can start. All right. Here's some stuff you need to know.
25:46Cam Scadaboo ran nine routes on third down. It was a terrible day for the Giants, but for Cam Scadaboo managers, you got great usage.
25:53For Omari and Hampton managers, you did not. This guy is, oof.
25:56There's a lot of red flags here for Hampton.
25:59Now, he still gets a ton of carries, and he gets a lot of work near the goal line, and he could score.
26:05But he played 42% of the snaps. He ran 16% of the routes.
26:09He has three targets in three games, Omari and Hampton.
26:12And his route participation rate was about 30% each of the first two weeks.
26:15It was 16% yesterday. Maybe it's going to be more like 30%, but they're not using him in the passing game.
26:21Omari and Hampton is trouble right now, and he likes to run up the middle, and guess what?
26:26They're facing the Seahawks, and I watched what the Seahawks did this morning.
26:30This morning, I watched the tape of what they did to the commander's interior offensive line, and they ripped it apart.
26:36And I am not excited about Omari and Hampton this week against Seattle or week four.
26:41Yeah. Now, you have three running backs who took advantage of injuries and played at least 80% of the snaps, which is a massive number.
26:48By comparison, Jameer Gibbs played 69% of the snaps.
26:50Chuba Hubbard, Aaron Jones, and Jalen Warren all played at least 80% of the snaps.
26:54Warren played 90%. It's hard to get away from that usage.
26:57Not a great week for David Montgomery, but I think, look, I wouldn't buy low or anything, but I wouldn't panic on Montgomery.
27:04He's going to be an up-and-down player. He's still, unless they just start giving Woody Marks more snaps.
27:09But right now, Montgomery ran more routes, played two-thirds of the snaps.
27:12Woody Marks played about a third of the snaps.
27:15It was the goal line stuff that was really annoying.
27:18Zay Flowers played one-third of the snaps and had more than 100 total yards.
27:22It was insane how good he was. And Ramondre Stevenson played more snaps than Travion Henderson.
27:26All right, you're up, Dan. Okay, so I'm not going to do a Jacob impression.
27:30Shout-out Jacob Gibbs. I don't think I have it in me today.
27:34I need to practice. But I'll take some of the awesome stats that he's put out there, and then I'll combine with
27:40some of these other stats that I've found. So the first one I thought was really interesting that he put out there
27:46was Tyler Warren had 10 targets and a 29% target share.
27:49You think about what this Colts offense is going to look like post-Alec Pierce.
27:53And this is what you want if you drafted Tyler Warren.
27:56You want it to look more like they're trying to get him involved as a key cog in their passing game versus
28:02what it looked like a lot last season and the first two weeks, which was just kind of those gimmicky plays, those design plays for Warren.
28:10You don't want it to all be design plays.
28:12You want it to be like this. So I thought that was very good for him.
28:17Another player that you've hinted on but had a breakout week three that needs to be discussed, Michael Wilson.
28:22There was talk last week from Jacoby Brissett. He said, why are you guys keep asking me questions about Marvin Harrison Jr.
28:28when we just re-signed Michael Wilson and it's not happening with him either?
28:32Well, it seems like there might be a little bit of a better connection there with Wilson and Brissett than there is Marvin Harrison Jr.
28:3934% target share for Wilson in week three, 50% air yardage share, and he was the wide receiver four in fantasy.
28:45So that's really important and really interesting. He could be a guy moving forward.
28:49We saw it last season. He was basically a league winner off waivers.
28:52Maybe he does emerge again as this every week player at wide receiver.
28:56Josh Downs, Jacob Gibbs' favorite. My favorite too on film, but I never loved him as much for fantasy.
29:01A little bit riskier there. Well, he had 172 air yards in week three.
29:05His previous career high was 111. It's clear that the new role they have for Downs is not just going to be
29:11this whip route role where you just throw him the Wandel Robinson type routes around the line of scrimmage.
29:17They're using him in different ways, and they pretty much have to.
29:20With Alec Pierce injured, they have to find a way to generate more explosive intermediate and vertical plays with what they have
29:26on offense, and it's a good sign that right away it was Josh Downs.
29:30That really excites me. A few other things I thought were interesting about week three.
29:34Drake London, really good news for Drake London. Throughout the first two weeks, Jacob and I discussed this a bunch on Beyond the Box Score.
29:41Adam, it was like, uh-oh. He lost his coaching staff.
29:44He lost Zach Robinson. Are they just going to line him up at X and have him run routes from there?
29:50No, that wasn't the case in week three. Tommy Reese, new offensive coordinator, started to get him moving.
29:55He had 10 routes as the X split end, nine at Z, and then seven from the slot.
30:00So they moved him around. They used him in three different roles, and they basically used him in a way like we
30:07saw last season during the Michael Penix era, which was essentially the focal point of the passing game completely.
30:12I'm very excited about Drake London moving forward as long as Michael Penix is the quarterback.
30:16The minute Penix gets hurt or gets moved back out, it's like a total drop-off in what you can expect from this guy.
30:23It's insane. His splits with him without Penix over the last two seasons, obviously this season being a small sample size, are absolutely nuts.
30:30The Packers had an interesting breakdown that I wanted to use.
30:33You saw the biggest opportunity for Caleb Johnson that he's had so far since being traded to the Packers, 47% opportunity share,
30:3927% route share, which was interesting, and 40% of the total running back snaps.
30:43That could be a change we see moving forward with the Packers leaning more into Caleb Johnson.
30:48Not sure it will matter because their offensive line is so bad that I'm just not— And you've got the Josh Jacobs.
30:54Like, Josh Jacobs could come back. I'd rather have a Dolphins running back than Caleb Johnson.
30:58Okay. But I think you're right for bringing it up.
31:01Yeah, and I think that's completely fair because, generally speaking, I have little to no faith in their offensive line, and I think that's the biggest problem.
31:09I think if you're a Chase Brown manager, Adam, you're probably pissed about how the start of the season has gone.
31:15Like, what the heck is happening? But I think it's coming, man, because he still had a 70—even this week against the
31:21Pittsburgh Steelers, he still had a 75% opportunity share, 62.5% route share, which is really good if you look across the NFL,
31:27and then almost 90% of the two-minute running back snaps.
31:30They don't take him out in those two-minute drills.
31:32I just feel like the pace and the game script hasn't been exactly what you want here, but the TDs are going to come.
31:39And so I think when you look at that route share being as high as it is and the involvement overall, you
31:45just look at him as somebody who needs the touchdowns to kind of pay back some of the value you invested in, and I think it'll be there.
31:53You mentioned Chuba Hubbard. Still amazing stuff for him from an opportunity standpoint, even though he didn't have as good a game.
31:59He's one of the true bell cows right now in the NFL, 82% opportunity share, 70.6% route share, and all of the
32:05two-minute running back snaps, 80% of the third-down work, and 90% of the overall pass-catching work at running back for Chuba Hubbard.
32:12And shout-out Zane Dahani for these numbers, by the way.
32:14Okay, yeah, he scored 15 fantasy points, Chuba Hubbard, so if that's a bad day, you know, you're going to take— I
32:21think it's a bad day for him at this point, honestly.
32:24Yeah. That's how good of—this is a true workhorse back at this point, Chuba Hubbard.
32:28It's crazy to say we're here, but like you mentioned earlier with the discouraging splits with the Marion Hampton, we're at a
32:34point where, like, somehow Chuba Hubbard might be a better weekly play than a player like him.
32:39Oh, 100%. I mean, I'm certainly— Which is crazy, but, like, yeah.
32:42I mean, there's just not that many guys getting this kind of role.
32:46The last one I wanted to touch on was just—and this is, again, shout-out Zane Dahani for these numbers.
32:51The last one I want to touch on was the Patriots backfield because everybody was kind of asking us about that this week after last week's switch-up.
32:59I still think it's going to be hard to predict, Adam.
33:02We had Ramondre with 52.6% opportunity share, Henderson 47.4.
33:04Ramondre with a higher route share, one rush inside the 10-yard line, 80% of the two-minute drills.
33:09So it does still feel like you're probably making a better bet with Ramondre from an opportunity standpoint, from a playing time standpoint, and from a volume standpoint.
33:17But at the same time, I almost still feel better starting Henderson on a weekly basis because he could actually break off
33:23an explosive run and change the whole—and just win you the week based on that.
33:27I don't necessarily feel that way with Stevenson. I will say this, having watched this Patriots offense on tape this week to
33:34prepare for our question about Drake May, I don't feel overly confident at all about having anyone on that offense this season,
33:40which is crazy because last season it was such a point factory.
33:43Their offensive line is in a really bad standpoint.
33:46When these teams start—when this starts to happen, I talked about this earlier with the Packers and now with the Patriots, you
33:52start to see these breakdowns on the offensive line, an injury here, an injury there, for a team that just simply can't
33:58afford it from a depth standpoint, and those two teams qualify.
34:01You can start to see some real breakdowns from an offensive standpoint.
34:05I think we're headed there with Patriots. I think we're already there with the Packers.
34:09I've got a—you know, I've got an issue, I guess, with a lot of the offensive line talk is I do feel like we—I do it too.
34:16Looking at the Chargers, for example, I mean, the Chargers offensive line is the worst that I've seen.
34:21Obviously, I haven't seen that much, but it's—to me, it's worse than the Packers.
34:25It's embarrassing. Not to me. Okay, maybe the Packers, but it's definitely worse than the Patriots—at least the Patriots' pass protection.
34:31I didn't watch the runs. I watched the dropbacks for Drake May, and I didn't think the offensive line was the issue.
34:37I just thought, like, there's no talent on this team, and they don't get open at all.
34:42And there were a couple of plays that could have been touchdowns, which we'll show a little bit later for Drake May.
34:48Yeah. But, yeah, I don't know. I mean, I feel like we explain away a lot of issues by just saying offensive
34:55line, but usually there's something deeper there. And with the Patriots, they just—they have one of the worst receiving cores in football.
35:01There is no getting around— No one gets separation, yeah.
35:04No one. And Drake May is making really bad decisions, too.
35:07I think maybe he's getting a little impatient. You know what?
35:10Forget it. Let's just go. I know it's a big topic.
35:13We can talk about it right now. Let's look at this couple of plays.
35:17Yeah. There's actually one screenshot. Here's DeMario Douglas streaking wide open.
35:20He's going, ooh! And then he's going, gah! But that's—you know, that to me is also partly a receiver problem.
35:25This guy's 5'6", or whatever, 7'8", and he doesn't have a wingspan to make this ball.
35:30Like, just hits the tip. Same thing with the Hollins catch, like the red zone throw to Collins.
35:35I thought that was a pretty good throw on the move by May, but just doesn't have the receiver who can make that play.
35:42And then did you see the Kyle Williams play?
35:44Yes. I mean, Kyle Williams should have had a touchdown.
35:47He's just stepped out of bounds. I mean, inexplicably, he just—he hit the sideline.
35:51Pulled a Xavier worthy. You can't do that. Yeah.
35:54So, yeah, again, it's kind of what we did with the Chargers last week.
35:58Could have been this, could have been that. It could have been a two-touchdown day for Drake May if things went right.
36:04But that's it. That's all it could have been.
36:06I mean, it wasn't like there were a ton of opportunities out there.
36:10He didn't throw that many passes. He threw a terrible interception in the end zone.
36:14Terrible. He threw another really bad interception to a guy that was just blanketed in coverage.
36:19And I'm thinking, go, man, he just must be so frustrated because no one's open.
36:23No one is open. And, you know, I looked at—like, I watched the Steelers game last week against the Patriots to try to see what is going on.
36:31And they faced a really good defense. They faced New England, and no one was open.
36:35And I'm not surprised they had a better game against the Bengals.
36:39I think the Bengals are probably going to have a good run defense.
36:42I'm not sure about their pass defense. You got to—and the Jaguars are good.
36:46Like, Jaguars, I think, have a solid defense. So the Patriots really stunk here.
36:50But they might have more games like that. And that is like, you know, unless you watch the tape, you can't really diagnose it.
36:57But that was my takeaway for Drake May. I think he's droppable.
37:00You know, he's making bad decisions. He has a 7.5% interception rate, which is insane.
37:04But does he have easier matchups? He's got Buffalo, Las Vegas, the Jets, and the Bears, and the Dolphins coming up.
37:10These are, for the most part, they're pretty damn good matchups.
37:13I mean, maybe not great, but these are matchups that you want.
37:17Whereas, like, Herbert has horrible matchups, and it's easy to drop him.
37:20What do you think? Should we drop Drake May or hang on?
37:24Well, part of it is also, like, the scrambling has gone down to an extent.
37:28He's not getting as many points with the running, which I think will actually go up.
37:32Because I felt a little bit differently from watching the tape.
37:35The ultimate, I just got done with it about the O-line.
37:38I thought there were plenty of moments where the offensive line had immediate breakdowns, and May had to immediately step off his landmark.
37:45But isn't that, like, every offensive line? We can't expect offensive.
37:48All right. I feel like. It's just not. It's just simply not.
37:51Like, you watch the Rams last night. You watch the Broncos last night.
37:55I saw them under pressure quite a bit. I mean, 55.
37:58Not to the extent of, like, the immediate pressure that puts you off your landmark.
38:02Like, Stafford's throwing 55 times a game. A lot of those times it's from the landmark he plants on and tries to throw from within the pocket.
38:10Like, right away. Like, that's. And it kills the timing.
38:13And that happened a bunch of times with May.
38:15But it's not all the offensive line. It's not even close to.
38:19I would say 30% O-line. 60%, you know, let's say 30 O-line last game from the tape.
38:2340% wide receivers not getting open. And then a good, you know, 30% was Drake May.
38:28Just. And I don't even want to say it's like.
38:31Because he had one throw to Demario Douglas. I think it was a 38-yarder in the second quarter.
38:36Where he. He. He plants at the right. He plants from the right hash mark.
38:40And throws a field side throw opposite hash mark.
38:42Dimes it in between two coverage guys. To Demario Douglas.
38:45And it's like. That's the Drake May I saw all of last year.
38:49But then he also has the decisions that you're talking about that are bad.
38:53Both interceptions. The one in the end zone was inexplicable.
38:56The other one he tries to throw, like, a comeback route.
38:59But like you said. He was blanketed in coverage.
39:01And the corner had. Had leverage on the. On the receivers.
39:04To the point where you shouldn't be making that throw.
39:07Decision making is really bad. He'd also watch the pass rush multiple times I saw.
39:11Which is bad. That's. When you know you start to not trust your offensive line.
39:16It kind of screws up the whole timing. And the rhythm of the passing game.
39:20So. I think there's everything going wrong there. The receivers don't get open.
39:24Drake May is not playing as confidently. And the.
39:26I think the offensive line was paying bad. So.
39:29Is it droppable? Yeah. Probably. Because. Where are we getting the points from with May?
39:33If he's not scrambling as much and getting as many points off the ground.
39:37And there's not as many receivers. With the ability to make explosive plays in this offense.
39:41There's just not going to be a lot of touchdown opportunities.
39:44Okay. Well. It's. It would be an easier call if I didn't like some of the upcoming matchups.
39:49But. Yeah. The personnel is just not that good right now.
39:52So. Look. You got. You can't be taking. Bad games from your quarterback.
39:56Like. There's just too many damn good quarterbacks right now.
39:59You can't. And it depends on your league. Right?
40:01Like you have a big bench. Where you can just bench May.
40:05Yeah. Of course. Then you never cut him. But if you're in one of these leagues.
40:09Like four or five bench spots. And one quarterback starts every week.
40:13It's probably okay to cut him. Right now. Because you're getting more production.
40:16Even from like a Geno Smith. Off your waiver wire.
40:19Okay. We're going to take a break. Do a little bit more.
40:23In terms of. I want to tell you about some of the interesting route.
40:26Participation rates. Yeah. And then we definitely have to talk about the Raiders.
40:30You already talked about Michael Wilson. But I've got a few more stats on Michael Wilson.
40:35I'd like to drop on you. And we'll be right back on FFT.
40:38Okay. Okay. Some noteworthy route participation rates. Casey Concepcion.
40:4195%. Pretty good. 65% in week one. 74% in week two.
40:44He ran 95% of the routes in week three.
40:46That's Casey Concepcion. How about these tight ends who ran 89% or more of the routes?
40:51Brock Bowers. Isaiah Likely. And George Kittle. Who's your tight end one rest of season?
40:55Oh. Tight end one rest of season? How could it not be Brock Bowers?
40:59I mean, this is what I had to argue with last night.
41:02I just don't understand what Trey McBride has to do to get the respect he deserves.
41:07You would trade Brock Bowers for Trey McBride right now if you had that opportunity?
41:11I would. Wow. You would. Do you? Oh, wow.
41:14Okay. So that's just. Maybe that's. You know, maybe that could just be how we view it differently.
41:19Like McBride's a safer bet, I suppose. Trey McBride.
41:21But Bowers can win you a league. The way they use Bowers.
41:25Trey McBride can't win you a league? Not to the extent where Bowers can.
41:29Not even close. I mean, Trey McBride. Trey McBride was a league winner like no.
41:33Like basically we've never seen before last year. Yeah.
41:35With volume that was never seen before. He's got.
41:38600. He's got 34 targets in three games. He's getting more targets now than he got last year.
41:43He ran more routes. A hundred more routes in the next tight end last season.
41:47He's getting more targets. Marvin Harrison Jr. Is invisible.
41:50He's getting more targets this year than he got last year.
41:53And the year before. I mean, the volume is there for training.
41:56Volume has no chance of reaching what it did last season where he ran a hundred more routes than any other tight end.
42:03I bet you his target per route run rate is higher than it was last.
42:07It may be, but it's not about that. If he's not running the same amount of routes from a volume standpoint, which
42:13is impossible because it broke a record. And it was based on, you know, the volume that the Cardinals played with last
42:19season, the pace, the fact that they were out of all these games and they were playing crazy catch up, which isn't
42:25happening so far to the first three games. And yet, and it probably will start happening by the way.
42:31And yet Trey McBride has 34 targets. He has eight or more catches in every game.
42:35I mean, he's a, he's, he's definitely the tight end too.
42:38That's clear. Um, I just think Bowers, the way they used him was, was spectacular.
42:43Last game. I just saw a breakdown of from Ben Solak.
42:46He basically wasn't even used as a tight end.
42:48He was split out as an X. He was used as the big slot.
42:52It was everything you hoped he would be with Kubiak.
42:55It was what we hoped he would be last season, but with an actual coach who knows how to coach football.
43:01And he was a total mismatch in every single sense of the way he ran a back shoulder with cousins outside as an X.
43:08They used him in the red zone to almost had a two touchdowns in the red zone should add two touchdowns in a red zone.
43:15Cousins last year proved he knows how to use these tight ends.
43:18And then this year cousins arm looks way better.
43:20Like just simply put his shoulder looks completely healed.
43:23He's throwing the football. Well, I think he's a better timing quarterback than Jacoby or set.
43:27I think he's a more accurate quarterback than Jacoby Brissett.
43:30And I think if Bauer stays healthy, he's going to be one of the three or four.
43:35Like, how could you not think he's going to be one of those valuable players in fantasy football after what we saw?
43:41I didn't say that. I just think Trey McBride's better.
43:44I would just take Bauer over him. Because of the safety, maybe.
43:47And that's fair. I don't think it's just safety for Trey McBride.
43:51I think Trey McBride is, again, he's... He can't have the upside of a Bauer's, you don't think?
43:56I don't understand that. I think he's going to get more targets than Brock Bauer's.
44:00I don't... How? Because he's got 34 targets in three games.
44:03And last year, he averaged like 10 targets per game.
44:06I don't know. But they used Bauer as like a total focal point mismatch receiver in this offense.
44:11He was basically just used as a receiver yesterday.
44:14I don't know that that's necessarily a good thing.
44:16I mean, we've seen like Kyle Pitts struggle a little bit in that regard.
44:20And then they finally made him more of a tight end and gave him a lower ADOT.
44:25Like Bauer's made some incredible catches yesterday. And I think, you know, he's so good.
44:29And he's definitely... They're definitely tight ends one and two.
44:32But I don't know. The chat thinks a side bet might be brewing.
44:35Is your side bet with Heath dead at this point due to all the injuries and crap?
44:40No. It's fully... What is it based on a per game basis?
44:44I think to win the bet, your guy has to win full season and per game.
44:48Okay. I will do a McBride-Bauer's bet if you want.
44:51Yeah. Okay. Fine. I'm not growing any beard here or anything.
44:54I got my... You know, I'm going to trim my unibrow and all that stuff.
44:58What could we do? What could we do for the listeners?
45:01That would be fun. We have to think of something.
45:04I don't know. By the way, I'm doing a Twitter poll as we speak.
45:08And Brock Bowers is 58% of the vote. All right.
45:11Let us know in the comments. What Adam and I Need to Bet On Here that will be funny for you guys.
45:17And Adam will accept it because you know Adam doesn't like accepting these things.
45:21Everyone remembers the line in the head where his wife had an important phone call somehow at 9.
45:26Which, by the way, this pisses me off so much.
45:29The gall that you have to bring this up.
45:31When you actually met her in person and asked her about it.
45:35She's such a lovely person too. She confirmed it to you.
45:38She confirmed it. All of this is true. Are you calling her a liar?
45:42Go ahead. Say she's a liar. No. That's the type of person who would never lie.
45:46I can just read that offer from one meeting.
45:49The only thing is, you're right. There's no real way around this.
45:52I thought maybe you set her up like, hey, Dan's going to ask you a question because you know me so well.
45:58He's going to ask you about this. Can you just say that you had an important – it just seems so weird that at 9.30 p.m.
46:06She would have an important phone call where she couldn't come in.
46:09Why? I don't know who has an important call.
46:12I don't know. I just feel like I've never had an important phone call at 9.30 p.m.
46:16But maybe other – Wife cannot testify against – True.
46:19Good point, actually. Good point by Thomas here. All right.
46:22We got to get back to this stupid show.
46:25I will do a Bowers-McBride with you, though, if we can think of something.
46:28Because on a per-game basis, I'd be shocked if McBride can outscore Bowers.
46:32You'd be shocked if McBride – Shocked. Okay. The way they used Bowers yesterday, shocked.
46:36And the way they use McBride is just what?
46:39Like he just stinks? No. He's the tight end, too.
46:42He's the next best guy. All right. More route stuff.
46:44Malik Nabors only ran 77% of the route. He is not – like you want receivers to be running 90% of the routes.
46:51He hasn't been there yet. DJ Moore, 74.2%. Like to see that a little higher.
46:55Stefan Diggs, 77%. That's a good thing. Okay. Let's talk about Neighbors and anyone else you watched on tape.
47:00But what did you see from Neighbors who had five catches for 26 yards against the Titans?
47:05That is six catches for 27 yards in the last two games combined.
47:09Sure. So, a few things on Neighbors' front. There was the play where I finally saw it from a really throwback to
47:15Brian D'Abel, Neighbors' rookie 2024 season where it's essentially a play designed to clear out space and get Neighbors to cut underneath,
47:21catch the football, and have a runway. And he was this close to housing it.
47:26And I saw that initial burst and I was like, this is the closest thing I've seen to Neighbors this year.
47:31Other than that, there were a lot of clear out routes with Neighbors.
47:35And then there were a lot of moments – Nick and I talked about this early in the game where Neighbors did
47:41one of these to Jameis because he got open twice on third downs with great releases off the line of scrimmage.
47:47Jameis didn't either see him, didn't think to go to him, and Neighbors started to do this, which we hadn't seen in a while.
47:54It's a bad sign. I think it's part of why the Giants made a trade for McCarthy, to be honest.
48:00We'll see how that progresses. But right away after that, you can see Jameis went to him twice, but they were both really short routes.
48:07This is a hard game to judge on, Adam, because the Giants really – and I mean truly – this is one
48:13of the most conservative game plans I've ever seen run by a Giants team since the Joe Judge era, where they famously
48:19ran the ball to the victory formation on third and nine, which got Joe Judge fired almost immediately.
48:24But I don't want to take too much from it, but at the same time, it's hard to get enthused about Neighbors
48:30with the current Giants quarterback situation and with the way that they're trying to win football games because this is a game
48:36plan that, yes, was partly in place because of the weather.
48:39But I think going in, this is kind of what they wanted to do because on the first possession, Jameis Winston almost threw a pick six.
48:47He was very lucky to not. He basically made his mind up that he was throwing a Beckham on an in cut,
48:53and he was this close to being intercepted by Hooker, pick six on the play.
48:57So I don't know how aggressive they're going to be without Dart in at quarterback, which really will impact Neighbors, but he looks fine to me.
49:04The releases off the line of scrimmage look great, and the bursts look great on that one play.
49:09So I don't think he's injured or anything like that.
49:12I just don't love the situation for Neighbors. Tell me if you agree with this.
49:17I thought he looked really fast. Like, yes, like you said, burst speed good.
49:20I haven't seen a lot of those really sharp cuts and breaks on his routes to get him open.
49:26I'm not seeing those types of moves. I don't know.
49:29Maybe if it's a knee thing or not. I haven't really seen him run any in cuts.
49:33I guess that's part of it. Like, the routes that he was running were clear out space routes, stop routes.
49:39He ran – I'll say this. On that route I was talking about where he had that burst post-catch, I think it
49:45was a 10-yard game, but it was close to going for the house.
49:49He did have to sharp – he had – on his release off the line of scrimmage, he had to make a
49:55sharp – he had to sell the vert and then make a sharp cut to kind of, I guess, create that separation.
50:01But you're right. It hasn't been a lot of deep in cuts.
50:05It hasn't been a lot – there was no slants or anything like that so far.
50:09So it is something to keep an eye on.
50:12All right. It's not great. Like I said, it's got to happen pretty soon if we're going to have confidence in Malik Neighbors.
50:18I'm basically going to start him this week, but the Cardinals are giving up third most fantasy points, fourth most fantasy points to receivers.
50:25The Commanders the following week are giving up the most points.
50:28Then the Saints are 12th. And then believe it or not, Houston is 31st against wide receivers, and I'm not going to buy that.
50:35So we'll give him a little more leeway, I guess.
50:37I know we get a lot of questions about the Chargers.
50:41I don't want to bring up the Chargers every week, but Ladd McConkie, you know, there's something I don't like about the Ladd McConkie profile right now.
50:48And these things can change, but through three games, his average route depth is way up.
50:53He's playing in the slot a lot less. And if you look at his yards per out run, Ladd McConkie, in all
50:59three of his seasons, including this short one here, it's better out wide every year than it is in the slot.
51:05However, you know, I guess there's a little bit difference like when you're not out, when you're out wide 35% of the
51:11time compared to 65% of the time, whatever. But his slot rate is 28.6%.
51:15Or it was 28.6% this past week. It was 56% week one, 39% week two, 28.6% in week three.
51:20So weird usage there. But this is not a guy that I think should be running downfield this much, especially when the
51:26offensive line is so bad and Justin Herbert doesn't really have time for these plays to develop.
51:31So I like for them to get easier plays for him.
51:34And last season, Ladd McConkie had 44 targets of five or fewer air yards.
51:38This year he has one. So it's just like, it's not working.
51:42I hate this role. You know, it's like, it could work.
51:45It works. Okay. Example would be Devante Smith. Devante Smith has had a higher average route depth.
51:49He's more of a downfield guy struggled in week one, huge week two, but a lot of big plays, a lot of areas.
51:56How you're not going to get a lot of that with this crap chargers offense.
52:00So I think they got to manufacture easier touches for McConkie until they do that.
52:04It's a little scary. Yeah, I think you're a hundred percent right.
52:08And I think that that offense is scary to say the least.
52:11It's not fitting well for Herbert at all, which is crazy with McDaniel.
52:15I think I thought I'd see more of like the old McDaniel offense when he had Waddle and Tyreek, not what we
52:21got in recent years when he had the dead arm Tua who couldn't, you know, he couldn't trust to drop back.
52:27Is it because they don't trust the offensive line to hold up?
52:30Maybe, but everything seems a bad from a procedural standpoint.
52:33They take a ton of pre-snap penalties, this chargers offense, and they have a ton of around the line of scrimmage stuff where the timing is just off.
52:41The blocking is not there and it just doesn't work, but B, like you're taking, it reminds me of like what happened with Herbert at Oregon.
52:48And I forget who their coach is. It might've been your coach from Miami.
52:52I think it was your coach, Cristobal. Did he coach him?
52:55Pretty sure it was. All right. I mean, pretty sure Cristobal coached him.
52:59No, it wasn't Chip Kelly's offense. Oh yeah, it probably was Cristobal.
53:02I think it was Cristobal. I don't remember who the OC was, but everything was horizontal.
53:07And that's kind of why he fell to six overall.
53:10And he's a vertical quarterback and maybe they don't trust the offensive line.
53:13They can't. That's the thing. Like McConkie is a vertical receiver right now, but I don't think he can be with this.
53:19I look at it. I'm saying every single week it's going to be bad, but it's harder with this line, dude.
53:25It looks bad. I mean for McConkie. Oh yeah.
53:28Yeah. Yeah. Every week it's probably going to be bad for the chargers.
53:31It's really bad. This is the offense I'm most wrong about for this season.
53:35It's really disappointing. Um, Seattle, Denver chiefs by Rams, Texans, Ravens.
53:38That's does not, that's not instill confidence. The schedule is ridiculously hard.
53:42How about Rasheed Rice? I watched Rasheed Rice and I'd love for you to take a look at some point.
53:47And I'd love to know what you think on Rasheed Rice.
53:51I thought in the first quarter, maybe the first half, he looked really good.
53:54He looked fast again. They gave him a screen pass, which they haven't really been doing much.
53:59I thought in the second half, he looks super slow again.
54:02Like not super slow, not super slow, but it almost looked like he was laboring out there.
54:07And then I, again, I went back and I watched some, just a few plays of his catches from last year and
54:13some of the moves he was making and hopping around and it just Rasheed Rice.
54:18I didn't see that in the second half of this game, but I think maybe we're getting some progress where it's getting better every week.
54:25That's my hope. Rasheed Rice had seven catches for 88 yards on nine targets.
54:28No other player had more than three targets for the chiefs.
54:32He had a 34 yard catch in the fourth quarter where he was wide open.
54:36And then the next play was a little bit more vintage Rice.
54:39It was a 15 yard catch and run on a line.
54:42I think it was a linebacker, but yeah, I mean, I was hoping for more and I saw it at the beginning
54:48and I, he did not sustain that throughout the game.
54:51So we'd love to hear what you guys think later in the week on beyond the box score.
54:56Yeah. We'll take a look at Rice. That's a big one that, that, um, Jacob has discussed.
55:01I haven't had a chance to watch his tape from yesterday though.
55:04All right. And not time now for our three big topics.
55:08We already covered Drake may, we covered Michael Wilson a little bit.
55:11I'll just add this for Michael Wilson. Um, you know, look, Jacoby Brissett, 52 pass attempts.
55:15So that's 17 targets for Michael Wilson. His target share.
55:18However, the last two weeks has been 27% or better, which is great.
55:22You know, we could be getting a little ahead of ourselves.
55:25Like if we call him a must start, I'm going to start him this week against the giants, but he didn't have
55:31any red zone, green zone or end zone targets in the first two weeks.
55:35This week he had five red zone targets, two green zone, four end zone targets.
55:39He also caught Michael Wilson caught three screen passes.
55:42And I love, you can hear me say it a lot.
55:45I love it. They're cheap fantasy points. Those three screen passes were probably about five fantasy points for you.
55:50He caught three screen passes in this game. He caught two last season.
55:54So that's not a thing we usually get from him.
55:57I'd love for them to start giving him more layups like that.
56:00Um, but listen, Arizona had the ball for more than 37 minutes and two of their three games so far.
56:06That's not sustainable. Like I said, the screen passes were kind of a pleasant surprise.
56:10I'm not sure if we have a must start.
56:12I don't think we have a must start guy, Michael Wilson, but as I wouldn't rule it out, Dan gave some really encouraging stuff.
56:19I know Jacobson's encouraged by it. At least, at least you can feel good about a late round pick here.
56:25Like you got an asset here in Michael Wilson and he's had seven or more targets in every game.
56:30Right. Let's talk about the Raiders to finish the show.
56:33Yeah. Again, 26 points or more in all three games.
56:36They did not do that one time in regulation last year.
56:39They're eighth in points per game. They're only 22nd in yards per play.
56:43They were 14th in yards per play yesterday, including the Thursday game.
56:46And that was their only game with Bowers. Most important thing for them.
56:50They're first in pace. They're the fastest team in football right now, which is a little weird because last year Kubiak and the Seahawks were 22nd in pace.
56:57Some red flags, Dan, 28th in big play rate.
57:00The teams with a lower big play rate than this Raiders team, Cardinals, Browns, Giants, Bucks.
57:04Now the Cowboys are one spot ahead of them.
57:07So that's good, I guess. But for the most part, teams in the bottom 10 in big play rate are not good offenses.
57:13The teams that are currently bottom 10. They're middle of the pack in red zone efficiency.
57:18They're fifth worst in goal to go efficiency. The schedule is about to get a little tougher, I think.
57:23Chiefs, Patriots, Bills, Rams. But all that said, they're not doing well in the red zone.
57:28They're not making big plays. They're not doing well in the goal to go.
57:32And they're eighth in points per game. So they must be doing something right.
57:36What do you think about the Raiders? Yeah, we talked a little bit about it with Bowers.
57:40But I think to start the show, the most important thing about this offense is what you said.
57:45The pace is up. And maybe that's in part because they're still kind of feeling like they're developing this offensive line out a little bit.
57:53And there's new faces. But their offensive line is playing well within this structure, within the pace.
57:57And I think part of that is just getting these matchups for Bowers.
58:01That's what it looked like to me when I watched them.
58:04The whole offensive design was to get Bowers in a matchup where he could win.
58:08And that happened over and over and over again.
58:11I'll say this. He's taken a lot of crap.
58:13But I think Kirk Cousins is playing phenomenal football right now.
58:16In my mind, he throws with better anticipation than just about all but like 10 quarterbacks.
58:21And it's probably like five, to be honest, when it comes to timing, rhythm, getting the ball out on time.
58:27And then accurately, he had issues in Atlanta where, and I heard about this, where his shoulder surge, like he had a
58:33shoulder injury that really impacted how he drove the football and threw the football.
58:37And he was not a quarterback that could afford to give up any velocity because he doesn't have that much to begin with.
58:43But right now, the arm looks pretty good. And maybe that's combined with him seeing it well, being coached by somebody like
58:49Kubiakou again, took Sam Darnold and, in my opinion, had him playing even better football than Kevin O'Connell had him playing.
58:55Different football, but better football. He won the Super Bowl with him.
58:59And it's similar in this regard to how they're running the offense through Bowers, just like it was through JSN.
59:04And that helps for a quarterback like Cousins to have things to find.
59:08I even saw moments where they were using Bowers as a great option to clear out space to then hit Mayer underneath.
59:14And this two tight end set is really working well for them, this 12 personnel grouping.
59:19Cousins playing great football right now. There's just no other way to like say it.
59:23If you watch the tape, he's throwing on time.
59:25He's throwing accurately. He's seeing the field really well.
59:28And he's playing within this scheme really well. So maybe it'll change in tougher matchups.
59:32I don't know. They have the Chiefs coming up, right?
59:35That's going to be a difficult matchup against Spax.
59:37He's going to blitz them. He's going to play press man.
59:40And we'll see if it'll work out. But certainly, everything you've seen so far should have you excited about the state of this Raiders offense, except for Gentry.
59:48That's my take. Yes, let's talk about that, right?
59:51Because just to put a bow on the passing game, as well as Cousins is playing, I think it's going to be
59:57a little while before we really fully trust him in a one-quarterback league.
60:01Sure. Bowers is, obviously, we agree, tight end two rest of season.
60:04One. And Trey Tucker, I actually think, you know, is going to have some good games.
60:09Only four targets in this game, but I would expect him to be second on the team in targets.
60:14And I wouldn't necessarily drop him. 35% started is about right for Trey Tucker.
60:18You never need it. He's a box of chocolates.
60:20You never know what you're going to get with him.
60:23So let's talk about Ashton Gentry, who... What movie is that from?
60:27Just kidding. Just kidding. Oh, my gosh. I was joking.
60:29He was really good against Miami. 23 carries, 102 yards.
60:32Also, six catches, 45 yards, and two touchdowns. He plays a ton.
60:36He's very involved in the passing game. He has at least three catches in every game.
60:40He has at least 19 carries in every game.
60:43But right now, I mean, the yards per carry have been terrible the last two games against the Chargers and the Saints.
60:49He has a long of 15 yards. He also has six carries from inside the five-yard line and no touchdowns.
60:54His avoid rate, Ashton Gentry's avoid rate was 22.9% last season.
60:57It is 9.5% this season. We know his yards before contact per carry last year was horrible.
61:02Right. It was 0.60 yards before contact. Right now, it's 0.60 yards, exactly the same.
61:06So, yeah, I mean, what do you think of Gentry?
61:09I think right now the question is, like, is he going to play, like, a first-rounder or a second-rounder?
61:15Because you're not going to sit him. He's getting too many touches.
61:18Or I'll throw a third-rounder in there. Is he going to play, like, a first, a second, or a third-rounder?
61:24Ashton Gentry. I think the floor is still completely there.
61:26We're second-round type production because he's getting volume when other guys are not.
61:30He's getting involved in the passing game. And most importantly, as the third piece, this is an offense that's scoring points.
61:36That's because he's going to get touchdowns out of that.
61:39The question is, can he be a game-breaker league winner, like a Kenneth Walker type from this year's draft class, fantasy draft class?
61:45I don't know if that's necessarily going to be the case, but I think it's in play.
61:50It's going to come down to him. Like, we're at the point where he needs to play better football.
61:55He needs to see it better. He needs to process it better behind the line of scrimmage.
62:00I think we've even heard this from him and the coaching staff.
62:03And within that, he'll get his opportunities. Because it's not like you can just point this to, like, well, the Raiders had the worst offensive line last year.
62:11He got hit behind on a scrimmage more than any running back, more yards after contact, fewer yards before contact.
62:17It's still a developing line. That could be the case.
62:20But then you look at Mike Washington Jr., and it's like, well, then why is he finding so much production with limited sample size and limited touches?
62:27Could it just be, you know, he's getting the spell opportunities where the defense worn down?
62:32I don't necessarily think that's the case from watching it.
62:35I think Washington is seeing the field and seeing this zone run scheme a little bit better.
62:39So I think Gentry needs to improve. But the reality is, if this is the negative, Adam, where, like, I feel confident
62:46in the offense scoring points, I feel confident in his role, I feel confident in his passing game role, I'll bet on
62:52that versus the player who has a ton of talent and could potentially play better.
62:56Everything is small sample sizes here. But Gentry did, I think it is worth pointing out, he did have by far his
63:02lowest target per out run rate yesterday, the only game he's played with Brock Bowers this season.
63:07His target per out run rate was about 30% each of the first two weeks.
63:11It was 13.6% this past week, and he had three targets.
63:14So he went from six targets to seven targets to three targets.
63:18And Kirk Cousins has basically thrown the same amount of passes right around 30 each week.
63:22So, you know, Bowers being there probably takes some targets away.
63:25But still, if you get three targets a week, I'd like to see more like four.
63:30But if you can get three catches a week, that's pretty good.
63:33He should be able to score some touchdowns. Like five carries from inside the six carries from inside the five yard line and no touchdowns is unusual.
63:41I will say Ken Walker has five carries from inside the five yard line and no touchdowns.
63:45But he has four runs longer than the longest run that Ashton Gentry has this season.
63:50Now, he lost a lot of weight, changed his diet, and wanted to be more explosive.
63:54I think personally that he is more explosive. And I feel like maybe a big run is coming.
64:00I mean, you'd have to think so. He gets 20 carries a game.
64:03But I don't know. It just hasn't translated so far.
64:06And then, yeah, watching all those goal line carries, a lot of times it's just, I don't know.
64:11It's not that impressive, the whole operation. So maybe it's a buy low if people are looking at the last two games of 10.3 and 12.3.
64:18I expect him to average at least 15 points per game going forward.
64:22You know, I think we're kind of on the same page.
64:25Yeah. Safe player. If things get better, potential for big upside.
64:28Yeah, right. But a question from Dinesh. Ashton Gentry or Jeremiah Love in Dynasty?
64:32Love for me in Dynasty. How about in redraft?
64:35Gentry, for sure. Oh, man. Love had a promising, obviously a promising week three.
64:39Like Ashton Gentry, I'm sorry, Jeremiah Love is going to be RB4 this week.
64:43He's going to kill the giant. But he got everything.
64:45I mean, he got the catches, he got the carries, he got the goal line work.
64:50It is all systems go. They turned it over to him this week for sure, yeah.
64:54Yeah, it's awesome. It's just to trust that offense.
64:57There was one comment we got earlier today that I meant to bring up that I didn't.
65:02What a shame. Ugh, YouTube likes Bauer's 62% rest of season over McBride.
65:05What a shame that the game last night was decided by a terrible pass interference call.
65:10Yeah, that's... We should be able to review it.
65:12We should be able to... They tried it. They tried that.
65:15And they did such a bad job executing it.
65:18But it was fine. They could have done it.
65:20Like, I think it was a DeAndre Hopkins play where we all saw it.
65:24We all knew what should have happened and they didn't get it right.
65:28It was like, how? How? Right. But we know what that...
65:31That play last night was not pass interference. Right.
65:34Too important. Lost the game because of that terrible call.
65:36And it was a great interception. Yeah. Should be able to review these things, Dan.
65:41I agree. You ready for Yankees-Red Sox tomorrow? Could care less about Yankees-Red Sox tomorrow.
65:45What do you care about? You care about the Giants?
65:48Those bums? No. I've lost all care. I mean, I'm entering a very dark, depressing time of my life with the Giants
65:54with their situation and golf ending very soon. This is called the hoodie stage.
65:58This is where Dan wears the same hoodie three straight days.
66:01Wears like two hoodies a week. Why can't you wear the same hoodie three straight days?
66:05What's the negative to that? I think you can.
66:08I just maybe change for the show. You know?
66:11I do change for the show. I don't wear the same thing twice on the show, typically.
66:15You've done it before. I've done it once or twice total and got called out for it immediately and felt terrible about it both times.
66:22A hoodie, Kate, it's only been a hoodie. And you know what?
66:26It is what it is. We're out of here, folks.
66:28We'll talk to you tomorrow with The Waver Wire on Fantasy Football today.
