Aaron Jones

PositiveProjection118:45

Aaron Jones is highly recommended as a start, with the source noting he is coming off a great game and finally getting involved in the passing game. The Dolphins' run defense is highlighted as a favorable matchup despite their statistical efficiency against elite backs.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeUsage25:42

Alvin Kamara is warming up as a fantasy option but is not a must-start, sitting just outside the top 24 running backs. He is expected to see 12-15 touches as the primary runner.

Insight page
NegativeUsage117:04

Alvin Kamara is expected to split work 60-40 with Kendry Miller, with Kamara handling most first and second-down work. He has seen limited third-down usage, which is currently occupied by CJ Donaldson.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeValue20:48

The source advises against dropping Brian Thomas Jr. for Makai Lemon, indicating a preference to hold Thomas Jr. despite the potential for a roster move.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

NegativeProjection41:31

Brock Purdy has been downgraded from a top-three quarterback to outside the top five due to Mike Evans' potential absence and concerns regarding the 49ers' offensive line health.

Insight page
PositiveProjection41:57

Despite a slight downgrade, the source maintains Purdy is a must-start over almost everyone. Jamie ranks him 4th, Dave 8th, and Heath 2nd. He is playing incredible football and remains a preferred start over Joe Burrow and Matthew Stafford.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection54:10

Bryce Young is ranked 15th (Dave) to 10th (Jamie). The source is concerned about his efficiency when pressured, especially with left guard Damian Lewis missing time and the Lions' pass rush expected to target the A-gaps.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveProjection51:19

Bucky Irving is a top-20 running back play for the week, ranked 15th by Jamie, 19th by Dave, and 14th by Heath.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveMatchup21:20

The source identifies this as a strong week for Christian McCaffrey due to the Broncos' poor defensive performance against the run.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection48:09

Christian Watson is considered a top-10 receiver for the week. The source notes he is excited for his homecoming game and is a must-start regardless of the matchup.

Insight page

Darren Waller

PositiveBreakout57:16

Darren Waller is a strong start against the Lions, who have struggled to defend tight ends, allowing 13.5+ PPR points to five different players at the position. His value is highest if Jalen Coker is ruled out.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveUsage21:04

Deebo Samuel is expected to be the primary wide receiver for the 49ers if Mike Evans is out. While he may rank third in targets behind Kittle and McCaffrey, he is projected for a floor of 5-6 catches for 70 yards and has a better-than-average game outlook.

Insight page
NegativeUsage42:56

The source expresses concern about Deebo Samuel's floor, noting he is ranked outside the top 20 (35th by Jamie, 27th by Dave, 30th by Heath). While he faces tough coverage, the source expects him to have a good game and considers him a great starter in three-receiver leagues.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout2:20

Boston is ranked ahead of DK Metcalf rest-of-season due to the expectation that Cleveland will be in high-volume passing scripts. He has established himself as a starter in three-receiver leagues and is a key target for Deshaun Watson.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

PositiveProjection11:44

The source believes Watson has regained his confidence and swagger, suggesting he could evolve into a viable bye-week fantasy quarterback. His recent performance is considered his best since joining the Browns.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury33:56

Devontae Smith is not expected to play this week, and there are reports suggesting he could be out for two to three weeks.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeBust2:12

The source is hesitant on Metcalf, ranking him behind Boston and suggesting he should be sold in trades. The source believes his recent performance was likely his ceiling for the year and expresses doubt about his consistency.

Insight page

Emeka Egbuka

NegativeRole22:21

Emeka Egbuka is considered a starter in three-receiver leagues if he plays, though the source expresses skepticism about trusting him or Dontavian Wicks.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveValue113:27

The source believes Jacoby Brissett is currently ranked too low at 12th or 13th, preferring him over Bryce Young and Marcus Mariota, though they note his outlook could shift if weather conditions in New Jersey are poor.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection32:38

The source advises against trusting Jalen Hurts right now due to a tough two-game stretch and the loss of his best receiver, Devontae Smith. The source suggests looking for backup options.

Insight page
NegativeProjection32:44

Jalen Hurts has been downgraded to the 13-17 range among quarterbacks following the news that DeVonta Smith is out.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeProjection105:26

The source expresses concern over Jameis Winston's current skill set, noting he takes longer to read coverage and his passes lack their former speed. Despite a favorable matchup against Arizona, the source remains skeptical of his ability to lead an efficient offense.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveBreakout23:44

The source suggests sitting Jamison Williams generally, but notes he is a better start than Egbuka or Wicks. He is a high-upside play against a Carolina secondary ravaged by injuries, despite his historically low target-per-route-run rate against cover three.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout61:30

The source expects a potential blow-up game for Jamison Williams this week, noting the team's desire to get him involved and a favorable matchup against the Panthers' secondary.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveProjection38:22

Jaylen Waddle is considered a top-20 wide receiver this week. Despite recent frustration, he is preferred over Wicks, Nabers, and McConkie, and has blow-up potential against the 49ers' secondary.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveValue2:04

The source ranks Jalen Warren as the RB1 rest-of-season among players from the Steelers-Browns game, ahead of Quinshon Judkins. Despite the potential for a split backfield when Rico Dowdle returns, the source argues Warren is the superior running back and deserves a feature role.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

PositiveRole117:46

Jalen Wright is considered the likely lead running back for the Miami Dolphins, making him a potential start in desperate situations despite his low roster percentage.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

PositiveProjection120:27

Jordan Addison is a high-upside play if Justin Jefferson is out, as he showed strong chemistry with Kyler Murray. If Jefferson plays, Addison's value drops significantly to a low-end number three receiver.

Insight page

Jordan Love

PositiveProjection46:46

Jordan Love is a low-end starter for Week 4. Despite poor efficiency stats (second-worst completion percentage and off-target rate), he has been consistent when exceeding 30 pass attempts, with two of three games resulting in over 20 fantasy points.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeProjection114:39

The source advises sitting Kyle Pitts, noting that while the matchup has been decent for tight ends, Pitts has not produced at a level that warrants a start over other options.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection26:54

Kyler Murray is not a must-start and is ranked outside the top 15 quarterbacks. While he has a great matchup against Miami, his fantasy value is tied to Justin Jefferson's availability.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

NegativeProjection63:05

Malik Nabers is a difficult start decision. While he shows flashes of talent, the source notes the Giants' offense is inefficient with Jameis Winston at quarterback.

Insight page
NegativeProjection105:05

The source views Malik Nabers as a difficult start because the Giants' offense is inefficient under Jameis Winston, who is struggling with his throwing motion and velocity. While the matchup against Arizona's poor secondary offers big-play potential, the source cannot confidently rank him as a top-20 receiver and suggests he is more of a number-three option.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

PositiveProjection31:09

Matthew Stafford is a recommended start, ranked between 9th and 11th among quarterbacks. His outlook is bolstered by Puka Nacua's return, and he is preferred over Bryce Young.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveProjection25:30

The source identifies Michael Wilson as the best wide receiver option in the Arizona vs. Giants game, ranking him ahead of both Jamison Williams and Malik Nabers.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeUsage2:07

Judkins is ranked as the RB2 behind Jalen Warren. While he showed improvement in his last game, the source notes he remains inefficient (3.1 YPC) and relies heavily on target volume (seven targets) to supplement his fantasy production.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeRole3:26

The source expects the team to return to a split backfield once Dowdle is healthy, despite the belief that Jalen Warren is the more talented player. The coaching staff has shown no willingness to make Warren a workhorse.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

PositiveUsage8:31

Roman Wilson has consistently seen six targets per game and appears to have settled in as Aaron Rodgers' second-favorite target. He is viewed as a viable bye-week replacement at wide receiver.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveUsage32:17

The source recommends starting Saquon Barkley confidently, noting that he should see increased volume in both the rushing and passing games with Devontae Smith expected to miss time.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeUsage48:53

Tucker Kraft is a borderline/low-end start. While his 14% target share is frustrating, the source expects him to see seven-plus targets per game moving forward due to the team's inability to run the ball and a favorable matchup against Tampa Bay's pass defense.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

NegativeUsage32:14

Tyler Higbee is no longer a top-15 tight end option, as his fantasy relevance was contingent on Puka Nacua's absence.

0:00This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports. What a play!
0:04Can you believe this? He had no idea. It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
0:08Off to the races! And he stays on his feet!
0:11He's just gonna go the distance! Now here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie and Heath.
0:17Happy Friday everyone! It's October 7th and Week 4 starts off with an unexpected bonanza in Cleveland with the Browns with a 27-24 win over the Steelers.
0:25That's their 8th straight win on Thursday night, including 4 over the Steelers in that stretch.
0:30Today we've got 7 NFC home games for you.
0:33Rams at Eagles with looking like no Devontae Smith.
0:36Denver at San Francisco. Green Bay at Tampa Bay.
0:39Detroit at Carolina. Arizona at the Giants. Atlanta at New Orleans Monday night.
0:43And Miami at Minnesota, the one they've all been waiting for.
0:47Jamie, good morning. Happy St. Patrick's Day. Good morning.
0:49Yes, we are all wearing green today for whatever reason.
0:53It ain't easy being green. Yeah. I think it's just to bring out the color of my eyes.
0:58Thank you to you guys for helping me with that.
1:02Dave, what's that? Your eyes are green? What's that?
1:04Your eyes are green? Come on. I thought they were brown from all the crap you're talking.
1:10Or from the Cleveland Browns. Okay, here's what we're gonna do.
1:13Cleveland Browns. The Cleveland Browns are fun, Adam. They are.
1:17They are fun. They are monking it up. And we're, let's rank all of the running backs and receivers from last night's game.
1:24Rest of season. Go. Jalen Warren one. Over Judkins.
1:27Over Judkins. Yeah. Judkins is two. Uh, Boston three, Metcalf four, and Sepp see on five.
1:32We are hesitant on Metcalf. I, I, I think there's a gap between Warren and Judkins, and then there's another gap between all the receivers.
1:40And I think it's, I think it makes sense to put Boston ahead of Metcalf because of just the expectation that Cleveland's
1:47gonna be in a bunch of games where they're throwing.
1:50And I don't know if Pittsburgh, A, will be in that exact same ship or B, that Metcalf will be as good.
1:57This felt like the best game we're gonna get from DK Metcalf all year.
2:02Ooh, boy. Interesting. Okay. So first of all, why would we go Warren over Judkins when Rico Dowdle should be back next week?
2:09Let's start with that. We're gonna have the same answer here.
2:12Go ahead, Jamie. Uh, I, I think Warren's the better running back, you know, so hopefully he continues to, you know, get
2:19the work that he deserves and he's gonna share.
2:22Um, maybe he shares more than Judkins does, but you know, which, which Judkins do we see?
2:28The one that showed up last night or the one that showed up the first three games of the season, which was tough to watch, you know?
2:36So I thought he looked much better. I thought that's the guy that we were drafting and, and hopefully that's a sign of things to come.
2:45Um, but you know, Jalen Warren, it's two game sample size now of what he's been able to accomplish.
2:51And if the Steelers want to go away from that, they're pretty stupid.
2:55Agreed. And also Judkins continues to rush inefficiently. Last night was 3.1 yards per carry.
3:00It was awesome to see him get as many targets as he got seven targets, six catches, turn that into 43 yards.
3:07That obviously supplements his numbers. Can we count on that every week, Adam?
3:11I don't know if we can. And that's why Warren, who clearly is the better running back than Dowdle at this point.
3:18I mean, it's so easy to say now wasn't as easy to say in August.
3:23Uh, that's one that I missed on. And I just, I feel like Judkins is going to be more reliable for touches, but still be inefficient with them.
3:32And you've got to hope that he scores. Yeah.
3:34Look, I think, I think that Warren is the better running back than Dowdle, but, uh, they've just never shown new coaching staff.
3:42I know never shown any willingness to really make him a workhorse.
3:46And I feel maybe it's going to be just a few weeks and, you know, play out, you know, the way we're hoping.
3:53But I, I fear that they're going to kind of go back to having a split next week when Dowdle's healthy, even
4:00though Warren deserves to be the feature back. I don't think they're just going to go away from Dowdle.
4:06Um, also this could change, but I talked about the profile change for Aaron Rogers.
4:11He's not throwing to his running backs like he used to.
4:14I mean, Jalen Warren had three catches last night.
4:17Jalen Warren had three catches last game, both of them without Rico Dowdle.
4:21Uh, I think that could change and it could swing back the other way, but they're trying to throw the ball more
4:28downfield and they're doing it somewhat successfully. Um, but okay.
4:32Yeah. Judkins, I think it was, it's worth noting that Dan and I mentioned a couple of weeks, I think last, maybe
4:39a week ago that, um, we didn't really think Quinshon Judkins looked like himself.
4:43Looked like the same guy from last year. And I thought he showed some signs last week.
4:49And then Herb street last night said it like three times.
4:52He's like, this is the best I've seen Rico Dowdle look.
4:56He basically agreed. He didn't. What's that? Sorry. Quinch on Judkins is the best I've seen Judkins look this year.
5:02You know, he basically agreed. He hadn't looked like the same guy and it was nice to see some explosion, even though the rush average wasn't great.
5:11Um, Roman Wilson has six targets in every game.
5:13Yes. And it's going to go up or at least stay stable.
5:17We saw Pittman only get targets in the first half.
5:20Wasn't a big factor in the second half. I think Rogers has settled on Roman Wilson as a second favorite target.
5:27So probably a name we'll talk about picking up, uh, as a bi-week replacement at wide receiver.
5:33Probably not somebody that we're looking at as a number three receiver.
5:36Yes. Maybe, maybe in the deepest of leagues. That's like infringement looking up at the sky when we hear the, the flush noise.
5:44Uh, but I, I, I'm excited about Roman cause I really liked his talent coming out of Michigan.
5:49I just don't want to buy in too much.
5:52Okay. And for Wilson, he doesn't play that much when Michael Pittman is healthy.
5:57He played a lot in weeks two and three.
6:00He doesn't play that much when, uh, no, I guess Pittman played in week three.
6:04He played a lot in weeks one and two.
6:07Pittman left in week one. Pittman played week one, left week one, didn't play week two.
6:12Right. Uh, he doesn't play that much, but maybe that changes.
6:16He's just kind of basically just a slot. They are not very fond of Michael Pittman right now.
6:22No. Um, all right. So it's just overall, these are not two offenses that people were really buying into.
6:28They look better than, than we thought. Do you, do you buy it?
6:32To what degree do you buy the Steelers and Browns offenses?
6:35Dave? I buy the Steelers run game. I sort of buy Aaron Rogers, but it's, it's contingent on whether or not DK Metcalf can come through.
6:44And I'm just not super excited about that. And so it's going to come down to whether Metcalf has a big game
6:51or Rogers throws 35 plus times a game and gets a lot out of those other extra receivers.
6:56It's Wilson. It's fire Muth. It's Darnell Washington. So I don't really buy it.
7:01I'm not that excited about it with the Browns.
7:04I think this is the best of Sean Watson's look since he's been a Cleveland Brown.
7:09He looked confident yesterday, looked comfortable. Uh, his guys were getting open.
7:13That's obviously helps. And that, that speaks to the Steelers defense.
7:16And they took on some injuries yesterday. Both teams did defensively.
7:20Um, I, I buy into it a little bit more with Cleveland.
7:24I don't think that we're going to see if we see regression from Deshaun Watson.
7:28I don't think he's going to revert back to the dude we saw in the first three quarters of week one and the first half of week two.
7:37I think he's kind of got his sea legs back.
7:41And I think he's got his swagger back a little bit and maybe we'll see Deshaun Watson actually evolve into a bi-week fantasy quarterback.
7:48Boston's going to be a bi-week wide receiver. If not a low end number three receiver, by the way, this was the
7:55game that I was expecting Casey conception to look like every week where he would get a lot of targets and a
8:02bunch of them were short area targets. And he was schemed up to have space to run after the catch.
8:09And then he also had a big catch on top of it, a little bit further downfield.
8:14This is the conception that I was drafting and I'm kind of excited about him, but I, I, I look at him
8:21almost the same way that I look at Roman Wilson, that he's, he's at best a bi-week replacement and probably a PPR only wide receiver.
8:29But now we're seeing it from this offense. And so I buy into what the Browns are doing a little bit more than what the Steelers are doing.
8:38Jamie, and same question to you. And by the way, full on youth movement for the Browns.
8:43It used to be Jerry Judy was the main guy and Concepcion will come in and three receiver sets.
8:49Now Concepcion, Boston, Fannin, they ran almost every route.
8:52If you look at Judkins, Concepcion, Fannin, Boston, these are the four guys playing the most all first or second year players.
8:59But Jamie, how much are you buying into these two offenses?
9:03And we'll move on. I'd be selling DK Metcalf now, if anybody wants to trade for him, because this was his best
9:10game and he looked good, you know, so you can hopefully see somebody that still wants to get the name and see the targets.
9:18And, you know, I don't think it's going to be consistent, which has been the problem for the first four games of the season.
9:25I buy Jalen Warren. I think Dave nailed the Steelers.
9:28The Browns, I think Denzel Boston's already established himself as a starter in three receiver leagues.
9:34I mean, it's been three or four games now where he's been good.
9:38We've talked about him as a waiver ad three weeks ago.
9:41And so, you know, the fantasy managers who have been shuffling him in and out of that lineup, you know, I think
9:48it's just going to be not a said and forget it, but almost to that point, you know, especially once we get to a bye week.
9:56So he's established himself as the guy. You know, you heard the broadcast saying that, you know, with the pre-show meetings, obviously
10:04Denzel, Deshaun Watson saying that Denzel Boston's his guy.
10:06I think it was Herbstreet. Somebody said, you know, that's the guy he looks for when he's got to make a big throw.
10:14So it's playing itself out. I thought Fannin had a chance for a bigger game.
10:19He's proving to be better than I expected, you know, with Watson because I thought that would be an issue.
10:25Watson missed him on an easy play that would have been probably another 20 or 30 yards.
10:30But at least you're getting the touchdowns. So, you know, we're getting to a point where I think you could put him
10:37in the top 12 conversation without worrying about it.
10:40And if you draft him as your only tight end, you're pretty happy about that because what you've gotten from him is,
10:47you know, three quality games in a row, whether touchdowns or just production.
10:51So I think you're just seeing what this, what these two teams are.
10:56Judkins is still going to hover in that 20-ish range.
10:59You know, I can't get overexcited about what he did last night.
11:03First touchdown on the season. It's the second time he's been involved in the passing game so far this year.
11:09So hopefully that's a staple of this offense. But just need to see a little bit more consistently.
11:15Like you said, Jalen Warren, three catches. If you tell me a question on Judkins getting three catches every week, I'll be thrilled.
11:22He basically is. I mean, he's average. Well, he's average, yes, but it just hasn't been consistent.
11:27Yeah. All right. Well, two of his last three, he has at least five catches.
11:32Yeah, I guess I could. I agree. I hope that that continues on.
11:36I could make a case for Metcalf that he had a really tough schedule to start the year.
11:42Right. He plays around again in like four weeks.
11:45I know. He's got AJ Terrell. He's got Christian Gonzalez.
11:48He's got DJ Turner on him. And he does have a stretch.
11:52Next week. Next week. He does have a stretch later in the year where he has Houston, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Denver, Houston, four straight games.
12:00That's tough. But the rest of his schedule, I'm not seeing it.
12:04Maybe sauce next week. Yeah, it's true. Right. But there's a lot of games that could be good for him.
12:10All right. We got to move on here. Sunday, we're going to answer your starter sit questions.
12:16And we're going to do it super early. So join us Sunday morning, 8.30 a.m.
12:20to 9.30 a.m. to get you ready for the London game.
12:24I mean, we're going to really talk about everything else, you know, answer all your questions.
12:29But because we have a game at 9.30, we'll be on from 8.30 to 9.30 and then from noon to 1.
12:36So this is at youtube.com slash fantasy football today.
12:39All times are Eastern, 8.30 to 9.30, noon to 1 Eastern.
12:42We will see you Sunday morning. We've been setting records every Sunday, new FFT records in terms of viewership.
12:48So come keep setting records and we'll see you on Sunday morning.
12:52News and notes. Still don't know who's starting for the Bears.
12:56Okay. Bagent. Bagent. Yeah. Why? You think so? I think.
12:59You think it's going to be bagent? Really? I think it's going to be bagent.
13:04Okay. And Jaden Daniels was limited. So. I obviously could be wrong.
13:07I'm just putting it out there. I'm whispering it in the universe.
13:11DeAndre Swift mispracticed with a knee injury. Yeah. Sucks.
13:14Yeah. So we'll see if he gets back out there on Friday.
13:18If not, it's Monongais SZN. Tampa Bay's offensive coordinator, Zach Robinson, says he wants to get Sean Tucker and Kenneth Gamewell more involved.
13:25And Bucky Irving limited with a glued issue. Sounds probably, Jamie, more like coach speak rather than something to take seriously or what?
13:33You know, we heard it, what, two weeks ago that they wanted to limit his touches.
13:38So I'm sure seeing him banged up and not being able to finish the game factors into that.
13:43Just makes sense to give, I would give Gamewell a little bit more work in the passing game.
13:49I think that would help, you know, everybody. Travis Achan is on IR.
13:53He will miss at least four games. The good thing for him is that it's four games, then a bye.
14:00So it's five weeks without a game, you know, for Travis Achan.
14:04And then they're not committing to him being back by then.
14:07This appears to be a pretty serious injury for him.
14:10Zach Charbonnet practiced. Now, he can't play this week, but this starting the clock for him, he's got three weeks now to be activated.
14:18So Charbonnet is looming. And Jadarian Price missed practice as well.
14:21So we looked at that game yesterday, Dave. Chargers and Seahawks, excuse me.
14:26Oh, what a Freudian slip that was. Why? I don't know why.
14:29I just... No, I don't know. I looked at LAC and I thought JAC and I just...
14:35Anyway. Sure. But if Jadarian Price is out, where would you put Emmanuel Wilson in your rankings?
14:40He'd be fairly high. I think he'd be certainly in the number two running back range.
14:45But now we're talking about the rushing down sky for the Seahawks, who also would get goal line carries.
14:51And we know that he's gotten goal line carries.
14:54And that's what's held us back from Jadarian Price is he doesn't get the opportunity near the goal line.
15:00It's been much more of Emmanuel Wilson there. So we might actually have a usable Seattle running back that we could be
15:07encouraged to start in a seemingly favorable matchup against the Chargers.
15:11Keaton Mitchell was limited with an ankle injury. Miami running back Jalen Wright practiced in full.
15:16He'll be good to go this week at Minnesota.
15:19Tony Pollard practiced in full. Tajay Spears, I think, was limited.
15:22Rashad White... Oh, did he get a limited session in Rashad White?
15:26Or did he miss practice again? I think limited.
15:29Okay. I think so, too. And Brees Hall missed practice.
15:32Justin Jefferson, still calling him day-to-day, but he did not practice yesterday.
15:36Puganuku expected a play. Lad McConkie's got a foot injury.
15:39And this is one to definitely put on our radar with Lad McConkie.
15:43I mean, they're at Seattle, so... No, we did that one yesterday, right?
15:48Yeah. So, Jamie, your thoughts on the Seahawks... Sorry, the...
15:51Jeez. The Chargers... Keep screwing that game up. The Chargers receivers if McConkie were out.
15:56Sure you didn't mean to say Bengals there, Adam?
15:58I don't know what you're talking... Oh, you think I'm going to game of the week.
16:04Okay. All right. All right. Go ahead, Jamie. I think the Chargers receivers will be one to avoid, but if you're looking
16:11for a desperation play, Trey Harris would come into the equation.
16:14He did have their... He did have the best game of the Chargers receivers last week, so he'll get a bigger opportunity.
16:21It's just how much do you want to trust them with the way their offense looks right now taking on Seattle?
16:28And... Dave, you really threw me off my game.
16:31Rashad White missed practice. He did not practice yesterday.
16:34Interesting. Okay. Devontae Smith expected to miss this week's game.
16:37Bah! And Nico Collins hopefully trending in the right direction.
16:40Caleb Douglas mispracticed. Adeline Mitchell mispracticed. Mike Evans mispracticed.
16:43Chris Godwin was able to practice. Kenyon Sadiq was limited.
16:46Not expecting Dallas Goddard at this point. Good news for Carolina.
16:49Their right tackle, Monroe Freeling. Still in the concussion protocol, but he did get in a limited session.
16:55The Raiders could be without guard Jackson Powers Johnson.
16:58He hasn't practiced yet this week. They're facing the Chiefs.
17:01Patriots are so banged up. Now their right tackle, Morgan Moses, has mispracticed.
17:05So has Christian Gonzalez. He has missed the first two practices of the week with a shoulder issue, as has defensive tackle
17:12Christian Barmore, as has Christian Benford of Buffalo. So key players on both sides, missing practice so far, but we know what it would mean for DJ Morby.
17:21A big deal for him if Christian Gonzalez did not play.
17:25We will take a break. And when we come back, one question for each game.
17:30And how am I going to weave in the Bengals-Jaguars game when we come back?

19:29One question for each game for seven games in the NFC slate.
19:33Rams are at the Eagles. Jamie, start or sit Saquon Barkley this week?
19:37Start. Confidently? Yeah, I think he's going to get a ton of work now with Devontae Smith not there, and hopefully he
19:44gets more work in the passing game. So absolutely starting.
19:47All right, so I guess a better question is what is the big impact here of Devontae Smith?
19:53Unexpected? Jeez. Not expected to play. I mean, you can't trust Jalen Hurts right now.
19:58So if you could find a backup option, I would look at Jacoby Brissett.
20:02I'd look at Mariota if he starts. You can go Kyler Murray.
20:06You can potentially go Sam Darnold as far as Daniel Jones potentially as well.
20:11Like there's just not a lot of reason to be excited about Jalen Hurts.
20:15He can still have a good game, clearly, because of what he's capable of doing with his legs.
20:21But it's been a tough two-game stretch, and now you're taking away his best receiver.
20:26Remember, Dontavian Wicks becomes a definite starter in three receiver leagues, a borderline starter in two receiver leagues, and that's about it.
20:33I think you should roster Makai Lemon just in case something happens.
20:36Just in case there's a long-term injury for Smith, there was one report that said it could be two to three weeks that he's out.
20:44And then Barkley should be the focal point of the offense.
20:48Okay. I texted Heath last night. We share a team.
20:51And I said, do you want me to drop or do you want to drop Brian Thomas Jr.
20:57for Makai Lemon? And he said, I would not.
21:00But if you feel it in your beard, I'm fine with it.
21:04Dave, Denver's at San Francisco. How much do you like Debo Samuel if Mike Evans doesn't play?
21:09A lot. He's going to be the number one wide receiver option for the 49ers.
21:14It could mean that he ends up being number three in terms of just overall targets because Kittle will get his.
21:20And I think this is a Christian McCaffrey week just in general because of how bad the Broncos have been against the run.
21:28Plus, McCaffrey can pick up a lot of the slack that Evans would leave behind as a short and intermediate target, as would Debo Samuel.
21:36But I don't think Debo's role changes. I don't think he goes into a perimeter receiver like Mike Evans has done.
21:42I don't think he'll see a ton of Pat Sertan.
21:46And there's definitely an opportunity for Debo to have a better than average game.
21:50And last week, he had a great game. I don't even know if he'll be quite as good as he was last week.
21:57And he didn't even have a catch last week.
22:00That's me being cheeky. Right. I think he could get five for 70 as a floor.
22:05Six for 70 as a floor. Yeah. I mean, Debo Samuel didn't have a target last week.
22:11And Mike Evans really didn't play that much. But he did have a decent target share the two prior weeks.
22:17Green Bay is at Tampa Bay. Jamie, can you trust any Bucs players?
22:21Bucky, if he plays. He'll be a number two running back.
22:25That's it? That's. Yeah. I mean, it's. Abuka will still be a starter in three receiver leagues.
22:30You can't trust Godwin at this point. You going Dontavian Wicks.
22:3462% rostered, by the way. Or Emeka Abuka. Dontavian Wicks.
22:37I don't want to start either one of them.
22:40I will say about. I've got a Bucca hire.
22:43Dontavian Wicks. Malik Neighbors and Jalen Waddell combined for five and a half points against the Rams.
22:48Although, let me check the Rams. Injury report. I think Justin Watson, one of their starting quarterbacks, cornerbacks is going to be questionable.
22:56But. But the other one is not. And if Devontae Smith isn't on the field and Wicks is basically determined the de
23:03facto number one receiver, where do you think Trent McDuffie is going to go?
23:07No way. Does he shadow Dontavian Wicks? I think the only way he really does it is if Wicks makes some big
23:14plays in the first half and then the Rams say, okay, this is just where we need to go.
23:20I think the Rams are going to play a lot of zone anyway, because that's basically what you have to do against Philadelphia.
23:27But maybe they don't do it quite as much because Smith isn't on the field.
23:32Jalen Watson is not practicing this week. All right.
23:35Now, look, I got a shadow Dontavian Wicks, but obviously he'll be lined up on him at different times.
23:41Let's see. Detroit at Carolina. Dave, start or sit Jamison Williams.
23:45I'd try and sit him. I do like him better than Emeka Obuka and Dontavian Wicks.
23:50It does set up for. That's the game of the week.
23:53Yeah. Because you're kind of rude. Jaguars, Bengals. So I'm pivoting to the Lions and Panthers.
23:58Week four, game of the week. Hey. I like it.
24:02I'm a little surprised by it. I thought you would definitely do Bengals, Jaguars as the game of the week.
24:08But this one certainly qualifies. It sounds like Coker's going to play, right?
24:12Limited. He said that it's not up to him.
24:15And they have a bye next week. So I wonder how cautious they'll be in running him out there after he couldn't finish last week's game.
24:23Gotcha. You know what? I like this call better if Coker plays.
24:27Yeah, me too. I just, I just, I'm, we'll talk about it when we get to the game.
24:33But there are things that worry me about the Carolina offense now.
24:37They've taken on some injuries and their offensive tackles have come back down to earth.
24:42As for Jamison Williams, the type of coverage that Carolina over the last two years, Jamison Williams has not gotten a huge
24:49target per route run rate against cover three and doesn't have a huge yards per route run rate against cover three.
24:55This feels like, and the Monroe St. Brown, Jameer Gibbs, Sam Laporte joint.
24:59That being said, Lions are scoring 30 plus points every game.
25:03You want to fire a shot on Jamo because you figure he's going to come down with the ball at some point for a big play.
25:11This certainly could be the week for it, especially with Carolina's secondary ravaged by injuries.
25:16Yes. That's, that's maybe the biggest news item in terms of defensive injuries.
25:20Both of their starting cornerbacks, the Carolina Panthers are out this week.
25:24Jamo or Don. They're out for four weeks. Yeah.
25:27Jamo or Don Tavian Wicks. Jamo. Jamo. Arizona at the Giants.
25:30Jamie, who's the best wide receiver in this game?
25:33Michael Wilson. Oh. Wow. Okay. Jamison Williams or Malik Neighbors?
25:36I'd go Neighbors. Okay. But Wilson ahead of both of them.
25:40Dave, Atlanta at New Orleans. How do you feel about the Saints running backs against these Falcons?
25:45I'm actually warming up to Kamara a little bit, but not enough to say that he's a must start fantasy running back.
25:52He's just outside of my top 24. But it sounds like they're going to entrust in him to be the primary runner.
25:59And he didn't look terrible. He, he, the, the offensive line is part of it.
26:04They're good in new Orleans. I know they just lost their left tackle.
26:08And I know Atlanta's front is, is really good.
26:11Heath talked about it on our show on Thursday.
26:14I don't really want to start Alvin Kamara, but I would take him over to Darian Price at this point.
26:20I would take him over Tony Pollard. I would take him over Bill over Broncos running back.
26:26Hold on. If Rashad White misses the game, does that change your opinion?
26:30That would change, obviously. Yes. Um, I don't know.
26:33I feel like they'll probably just activate Eckler and I don't know how much that would change, but.
26:39Maybe it would. You might be right. But Kamara seems like he's in line to get in the neighborhood of 12 to 15 touches.
26:46And that's a borderline RB too. Okay. Starter sit, Jamie.
26:49Kyler Murray, our last game, Miami at Minnesota. Starter sit, Kyler Murray in a great matchup.
26:55Not a must start guy, especially if Jefferson does not play, but certainly in the streaming conversation.
27:00So he's not ranked as a top 12 guy.
27:03He's actually just outside the top 15, but he's in that same mix of Jacoby Brissett and Sam Darnold.
27:09And I'm trying to think what else is up there.
27:12Daniel Jones, you know, those type of guys that have great matchups.
27:16And just have not really shown much yet or have the ability to, you know, disappoint you because of some previous history.
27:23You know, look, Kyler did not look great last week against Tampa Bay, but the Dolphins have been a relative layup.
27:30He's not going to be as efficient as the last two quarterbacks have been in terms of Mahomes and Purdy.
27:36I think that's obvious. Will he run a little bit in this game?
27:40We'll see. He's just not going to have to do much because I don't think the Dolphins are going to score.
27:47So don't expect a lot from him if Jefferson's not out there.
27:51Okay. A couple of comments I wanted to highlight.
27:54Adam, way to pivot for the game of the week.
27:57And earlier, Dave, you asked me if my eyes were green.
28:00And Corey pointed out, I thought Adam's eyes were pink.
28:04No, that's just Adam's eye. That's right. Yeah. What like back Shurzer?
28:07I've got different colored eyes. Speaking of which, go White Sox, go Yankees, go baseball.
28:12Rams at Eagles. Eagles. Okay. Stat of the game.
28:15Number one was that Malik neighbors and Jalen Waddell combined for five and a half fantasy points against the Rams.
28:21So beware. But this is amazing. Sat of the game.
28:25Number two, the Eagles. Like he really count the neighbors that like he left the game early and.
28:30No, he didn't. The Rams game. He left for a little bit with the shoulder.
28:35The shoulder. Came back. And Jackson Darker hurt. Yeah.
28:38But I mean, people started him. So you might count it.
28:42No, I count that. He played plenty. As far as I recall.
28:45He hurt his shoulder in the game. Who knows how healthy he was?
28:49He missed like one drive and came back. I don't know.
28:53He couldn't. I mean, look, he couldn't get open.
28:56You obviously count it. But it's just it's you know, his quarterback got knocked out in the game.
29:02And then he he had to deal with Jameis in that part.
29:05All right. So if you were the commissioner of a league and somebody started Malik neighbors and all that happened, would you
29:12let him replace him after the lineup? Oh, I'm asking Jamie, not you.
29:17No, of course not. But I mean, like, just so it counts.
29:20You got to put into a little bit of context why he was so bad in that game.
29:26Of course. That's fine. To put it into context.
29:29It's still what the Rams did. And Adam's point is the most valid of all, which is McDuffie shut him down or
29:36at least didn't let him run away very often in the game.
29:40It's kind of a deceiving stat because McDuffie didn't shadow Waddle and he's not going to shadow Wicks.
29:46But he did at times. At times. Yeah. But that's the thing.
29:49Like, he's an outside corner and Wicks is an outside receiver.
29:53He went in the slot against Waddle, too. Yes, I know.
29:57But he didn't shadow him. But he's going to line up against Devante against Ontavian Wicks.
30:02So it's whatever, whatever, whatever. It's not the typical great matchup to stream this guy who's stepping up into a bigger role.
30:09That's all I'm saying. Although without without their number two cornerback, I think that's going to make things easier.
30:15The other stat was that the Eagles are the only team in football that doesn't have a takeaway.
30:20That's amazing. They have three sacks in three games and they haven't forced a turnover.
30:25That's really wild. One of the best interceptions. And one of the right.
30:29Yeah. And that's why they have no takeaways. And I thought you said the Rams.
30:34I'm sorry. No, it's the Eagles. Oh, I thought you said the Rams.
30:38I hope not. Welcome to my world. Um, Jalen Carter playing with a hairline fracture doesn't seem to be a very good thing either.
30:46This defense is definitely underwhelming. I've dropped them in a bunch of leagues, uh, pivoted to the Browns in a couple of
30:53leagues that did not work out well. But the Packers defense, especially, I don't love them.
30:58But going up against Jalen Daniels, you've got to take the chance on them.
31:03I would start them ahead of the Eagles. Okay.
31:05So does that mean that Stafford should have a big game here?
31:09He's now 11th for Jamie, 10th for Dave and 9th for Heath.
31:13Jamie, I mean, it feels low, but is that just about how good quarterback is?
31:18It's a great position this week. Yeah. So you're starting Stafford if you have him.
31:23It's a, it's a good opportunity with Puka back.
31:26You know, it's a huge part of this also.
31:28So, so we'll see how they sort of intertwine everybody together with what Devante has done.
31:34How healthy is Puka? Does a tight end step up this week?
31:37It would most likely be Higby. But I mean, look, Stafford's been fantastic the last two weeks.
31:43I don't know why anybody's getting away from him unless you just have much better options.
31:48So like Tyler Shuck or Stafford, I'd start Shuck.
31:51But that's, you know, small percentage of people that are in that situation.
31:55What would you do with Bryce Young? I know what I would do.
31:59I'm just asking. I would start Stafford over Young.
32:02Yeah, me too. You know, he's got a, it's a little bit of a checkered history against Vic Fangio.
32:08But for the most part, he, he's been anywhere from okay to pretty good.
32:12He's never been amazing against Fangio. And that's what I would expect.
32:16Maybe around 23 fantasy points for Stafford. Okay. And how about Higby?
32:20Who's going to be a better flex? Dontavian Wicks or Tyler Higby?
32:24Is Puka playing? Yeah, Puka's playing. Is Devante Adams playing?
32:27Yeah. I'll take Wicks because I don't think Higby will do a lot.
32:31Okay. Or asked to do a lot. All right.
32:34So is Higby in your top 15? Not anymore.
32:37No. It was all contingent on Puka. Okay. On the other side of the ball, Jalen Hurts was a borderline top 12 quarterback.
32:44Jamie, where did you move him after the news of Devante Smith being out?
32:4916. And Dave's 17. And Heath is currently 13 on Jalen Hurts.
32:53Aaron Donald may not play. And I know that you might think, oh, that's a big deal in the run game.
32:59But it's a huge deal in the pass game as well.
33:03If they don't have Aaron Donald and Miles Garrett.
33:06So that could help. But yeah, I mean, I have Hurts.
33:09I have Hurts and Stafford in a league. That was a tough decision for like a day.
33:15And now it's an easy one. Right. Yep. This is a pretty easy game though.
33:20And so, you know, you're starting Barkley. You're starting Kyron.
33:23You're starting Adams and Puka. And then it's really, Dave, how do you feel about Wicks and Lemon this week?
33:29I don't want to start them. I certainly don't want to start Lemon.
33:33Wicks, I understand if you're a little bit hungry at wide receiver and you need a number three, he's in that mix.
33:40But we already talked about J-Mo, Abuka. Those two guys for sure should be started ahead of him.
33:46We'll come across other names that I would start ahead of Wicks too.
33:50I'm worried about how the coverage changes for him.
33:53And while he's looked great in tandem with Jalen Hurts, I worry about how effective he'll be even if there is a target bump.
34:01It's a role that might be a little bit too big for him with coverage that might be too strong for him.
34:08It's a big difference in the rankings. I mean, Jamie's got Wicks in the 20s, Dave in the 30s.
34:14So it's 28th for Jamie, 38th for Dave, 25th for Heath.
34:17All right. Different opinion. He's a definite starter in three receiver leagues.
34:21And I would start him over Abuka. I picked him up in a couple of leagues.
34:26I'm starting him over. Oh gosh. I don't know if anyone cares.
34:30I think it's Devon Vale. Well, yeah. Ended up being Lab McConkie, but I'd start him over Vale.
34:36I'm sure. I assume you guys would too. I wouldn't.
34:39Um, that's close. That's agreed. It's close. Let me give you some names.
34:43You tell me where you've got them compared to Wicks.
34:46Keenan Allen. Allen. I have Allen. Uh, Khalif Raymond.
34:49Wicks. Wicks. Raymond. Uh, Quentin Johnston. Wicks by a mile.
34:52Well, that's the thing. I mean, it is. I don't know.
34:56I want to throw a curveball in there. Even if McConkie's out.
35:00Yeah. Wicks by a mile. Uh, Malik. Malik, the freak Washington.
35:03Wicks. Definitely. So here's one that I have to decide.
35:06Right now I had McConkie in there. I took him out because I feel like he might miss the game, but Wicks
35:13or Camara in a half PPR league. Wicks. That's a close one.
35:17I think I like Wicks a little bit better.
35:20Yeah. I'm going to go with that too. I think the Rams are going to score.
35:25I think the Eagles are going to have to throw and you'll get enough from Wicks.
35:30It's, it's Wicks. Surprisingly Wicks. Shout out Chicago. Also, you said furniture stores.
35:35You said something about being hungry and starting Wicks.
35:37Like that's the pun you need to make for Lemon.
35:41Lemon should be added. I mean, it's, uh, it's, I hope I'd rather see, I'd rather see Lemon, you know, come out and do something.
35:49Yeah. Same. He's got an appealing game because of what he's able to do over the middle of the field.
35:55It's just a matter of whether or not Hertz can find him consistently there.
35:59It's been very sour so far. Yeah. Right, right, right.
36:03And so I don't, I'm hoping that I'm hoping that Hertz doesn't get yellow about this whole thing.
36:08All right, listen, you're beating around the bush here.
36:11Starter citrus. All right. Rams, the S we're going to citrus Lemon.
36:15I'd rather start Wicks. Rams, the S T is a start.
36:19Let's read some questions here. Blake Corum, Romo, Dunze, or Keenan Allen.
36:22Half PPR. Allen. I agree. Darren Waller or Dontavian Wicks?
36:26Waller. I might pivot to Wicks if Coker plays, but it's going to be really close because I do expect Waller to have a shot at a touchdown.
36:35I don't know if Wicks has it. Wicks or Downs?
36:38Downs. Downs, downs. Blake Corum, Woody Marks, or Malik Washington?
36:41PPR. Return yards count. Washington. Agreed. Kyron Williams or Bejal Tootin?
36:44Kyron, but it's close. Hurts or Mariota, CJ Stroud, Daniel Jones.
36:48Four point. Mariota. I like Mariota better as well.
36:51Assuming, of course, that JD5 doesn't play. Saquon Barkley, Chase Brown, or Matthew Golden, PPR?
36:56How are you sitting any of these guys? I'd start Chase Brown.
36:59I believe I have Chase Brown the highest. You want to read this one, Dave?
37:04I would like to read this one. First, I want to confirm that I have Chase Brown the highest, and I do.
37:11Give me life! Give me life! Or give me 11!
37:14Okay. Next game. Denver at San Francisco. I was wired last Sunday, dude.
37:19Yeah, yeah. It's great. I was on one. Yeah, I love it.
37:22I hope you can bring that energy at 830 in the morning.
37:26No chance. You're lucky I'm here at 830 in the morning.
37:30Denver at San Francisco. Bo Nix is a sit.
37:33Bo Nix or Jalen Hurts? Hurts. Still Hurts, but it wouldn't surprise me if Nix has a good game.
37:39I mean, the 49ers defense did not look great last week, and they're not getting any help on their defensive line right now.
37:46So we'll see. How would you rank Dobbins with the Seahawks guys, the Patriots guys?
37:51Poorly. Better than the Seahawks guys, worse than the Patriots.
37:54Or worse than Ramondre. He's behind Ramondre. He's behind Price.
37:57I'm not enjoying J.K. He's behind Harvey. He's behind Harvey.
38:00I mean, he left one game with an injury, but he doesn't even have – I think he has less than 13 points.
38:08No, he has like 13 point something points in three games.
38:11Yeah, R.J. Harvey could catch some balls. He's got 8.1 and 10.7 PPR fantasy points in two games, 10 catches for R.J.
38:18Harvey on the year. So the tough call is Jalen Waddell.
38:22Jamie, how do you feel about Jalen Waddell this week?
38:25Number two receiver. Low end number two receiver. So depending on like Christian Gonzalez situation, I'd start him over more.
38:31If Gonzalez is out, then I'd start more. I'd start him over Wicks, clearly.
38:36I'd start him over Neighbors. McConkie? It's just been frustrating.
38:39I'm sorry? McConkie or Jalen Waddell? Oh, Waddell. I don't want to start McConkie against the Seahawks if he's less than 100%.
38:46I don't want to start him if he was 100%.
38:49What if he was 110%? No, still Waddell. It's just they're not connecting right now.
38:54It's annoying. So you like that he got seven targets last week.
38:58It just – I think take into account that who knows if he's playing through something or when he got hurt with
39:05the – that he was in a walking boot.
39:08So – Until he starts to show something consistently, he's going to be in that borderline 2-3 range, I think, most weeks.
39:15But I'll take him against this defense. And I think back to week two, okay, not as tough of a matchup for Jalen Waddell.
39:22No disrespect to Travis Hunter or anybody else in that Jacksonville defense.
39:26But I didn't think that they had anybody that could really limit Waddell.
39:30I didn't think that they would bracket Waddell. And I did think their pass rush could get to Bonex.
39:36And yet Waddell went out and he had a sensational game.
39:40I don't think the 49ers pass rush is going to get to Bonex that much.
39:45And I don't think they've got a secondary. I don't think they're willing to commit two guys to Jalen Waddell on every play.
39:52So I actually have Waddell as a top 20 wide receiver this week.
39:56Number two guy. But top 20, and I think he does have a chance to have another blow-up spot.
40:02The problem with this team is going to be the problem every week for the most part, which is there's going to be so many guys involved.
40:11And this was the fear coming into the season.
40:14So last week, Corlin Sutton had their best game from a receiving standpoint.
40:18Pat Bryant continues to be a factor. He had the one game with Evan Ingram.
40:23It's just what they do. And so can he exceed the seven-target limit?
40:27I think that's going to be the issue for him on a week-to-week basis.
40:31Well, he's had at least seven targets two straight weeks.
40:35That's very cool. I don't think anybody else on the – I'm looking, as I say this, on the Broncos has even
40:42had – I got to change the number to five.
40:45Five-plus targets in back-to-back games. That hasn't happened yet.
40:48Sutton had five, four, and then seven last week, and he's not doing anything with his targets.
40:53I feel comfortable with Waddell being kind of a notch ahead of everybody else in Denver's offense.
40:58Oh, heat. Yeah, for sure. But it's just – it's been the track record for Bo Nix, Sean Payton for the last two years.
41:06It's been like one guy getting slightly more on a week-to-week basis.
41:10But I'm having flashbacks to March and April. They didn't have a guy like Waddell, and that's the difference is that in
41:17previous iterations of this offense – Sure, and the production for the first part of the season has not been great either.
41:24That's true. Bad, good, bad. Hopefully this is a good.
41:27Okay. Start Brock Purdy. Are you going to downgrade Purdy if Evans is out?
41:32Yeah, but – We have it ranked right now as if Evans is not playing.
41:36Right. So downgrade. Let's define that because normally I think Brock Purdy – I won't speak for Jamie and Heath, but like
41:43top three fantasy quarterback, must-start type guy. He's not even top five because Evans is out and because the pass rush for
41:50Denver I think is still very good. And I have questions about how healthy Trent Williams is and how effective he'll be.
41:57So, yes, I downgraded Brock Purdy, but I'm still going to start him over pretty much everybody.
42:03I think if you've got Purdy and Shuck, you've got a tough call to make.
42:08And I think the case can be made for Shuck to have better stats than Purdy this week.
42:13Let's not act like Denver isn't good against quarterbacks.
42:16Patrick Mahomes had a good game because he had a rushing touchdown.
42:20Trevor Lawrence was horrible. 6.2 fantasy points. And Matthew Stafford was good.
42:24He threw 55 passes and scored 25 fantasy points.
42:27But Denver's typically better at home. This is a road game for them.
42:31And Purdy is in the freaking zone right now.
42:34If he doesn't have Evans, though, and you said, Jamie, you did rank it as if that's the case.
42:40Jamie has Purdy fourth, Dave has him eighth, and Heath has Purdy second.
42:44He is playing absolutely incredible football. I get it.
42:47Christian McCaffrey has a start. Mike Evans, I'm assuming, would be a start if he played.
42:52But as of now, we're not expecting that. So, Debo Samuel.
42:56Jamie, how come Debo Samuel is not like a top 20 guy?
42:59He's 35th for you and 27th for Dave and 30th for Heath.
43:03Because it's Debo Samuel. And I don't, like Dave gave the floor, I would take the under on 6th for 70.
43:10I just don't think that's, like his best game so far was what, 6th for 35 in week one?
43:16You got the... 48. 48, whatever it is. So, still not 70.
43:20Yeah. I get it. He's still going to face tough coverage.
43:23I don't know if, you know, he's the, he'll beat Riley Moss, but I don't know how much he'll consistently beat Riley Moss.
43:31You know, so they're still going to have coverage that's tough for him to deal with.
43:36And the thing about the 49ers, which is going to be interesting, and this is where you got to be creative.
43:42You know, does Watkins or Cowing or any of the other guys, now they, you know, elevated Brandon Cooks.
43:49You know, like there's going to be other players in this offense that step up.
43:53And that's just the nature of Kyle Shanahan and how good this scheme is.
43:58So, I just don't think it's all Debo Samuel because Mike Evans is not there.
44:03Right. They could also employ Juszczyk. They've got other tight ends that they could use.
44:07People that we're not even remotely considering for fantasy but could help Purdy still have a good game, even if Debo doesn't have a good game.
44:16Yeah, I think Debo will have a good game.
44:19I think he's a good matchup here. He's a great starter in three receiver leagues.
44:23That's a great way to put it. He's not top 24 for me, Adam.
44:28Braylon Allen or Debo Samuel? Braylon Allen. Pretty sure I have Debo higher.
44:32Got a question in the chat. And I start Wicks over Debo.
44:36Jamie says Wicks over Debo. Dave does not agree.
44:39No. Debo over Braylon Allen, too, in full PPR.
44:42Debo or Harvey? Debo. Debo. Debo. Let me read some chat questions here.
44:46George Kittle is a start. Dobbins or Kamara? Kamara.
44:49Yep. I agree. They'll get more passes. Yep. Purdy or Mahomes?
44:52Mahomes. I think I have Purdy higher. Here's a question about two quarterbacks.
44:56Whose last name ends in X. Knicks or Penix?
44:59Knicks. Bo. Dobbins or Woody Marks? What's the format?
45:02PPR. PPR. Woodrow Marks. Traded Kittle and Montgomery for Kraft and Neighbors.
45:06Which side do you like better? Kittle and Montgomery or Kraft and Neighbors?
45:10I think I like the Kittle and Montgomery side better.
45:13Kraft and Neighbors. Waddle or Valey? Waddle. Waddle. Debo or Pickens?
45:17Pickens. Georgie Borgie. That's not close. Blueberry or Chocolate Chip Muffin?
45:20Chocolate Chip. Look at me. Look how fat I am.
45:23I think I'm going to say Blueberry in the morning, Chocolate Chip at night.
45:28Burrow or Purdy? Purdy. Burrow. And finally, Purdy or Stafford?
45:31Purdy. Brock. That's not weird. That makes perfect sense, Dave.
45:34You make no sense. The answer to the question is obviously yes.
45:38You're going to take one of each. You know, I have not had a muffin.
45:43That's what I do once every Thursday here in the office.
45:46I haven't had a muffin in years. Really? They are arguably the most unhealthy thing on planet Earth.
45:52Look at the back of a muffin. You couldn't believe how much fat and sugar.
45:57It is unbelievable. And it's so sad because they're just the best.
46:01I miss muffins. Okay, we'll be back after this with five more games on Fantasy Football today.
46:06Eddie in the chat says, I don't care about muffins.
46:09Well, you've come to the wrong place. Sorry, buddy.
46:12Okay. Welcome to Fantasy Muffins today. Let's, where's our next game?
46:16Green Bay at Tampa Bay. Okay, Bon Jovi fans.
46:19Here comes your you give love a bad name stats of the game.
46:23Here are some bad stats about Jordan Love. Jordan Love does not have a rushing yard yet.
46:28Jordan Love is averaging a career low 6.8 yards per attempt.
46:32Jordan Love has the second worst completion percentage in the NFL ahead of only Jameis Winston.
46:37Jordan Love has the second worst off target rate in the NFL ahead of only Malik Willis.
46:42And he's got the worst offensive line arguably in football.
46:45And by the way, he's nearly 60% of his pass attempts are under 2.5 seconds, which is the second highest rate in the NFL.
46:53See bad offensive line. So, like, I think, you know, the production we got last week from Love was good enough.
47:0022.5 points. But it was on 58, 53 pass attempts.
47:03Jamie, starter sit. Jordan Love at Tampa Bay. Start, but low end starter.
47:07His track record is very consistent when he's been over 30 pass attempts.
47:11And so, two of three games over 30 pass attempts.
47:14Two of three games over 20 fantasy points. So, I think that will continue.
47:19They cannot run the ball and they cannot protect anything.
47:22So, the only concern I have is, and you see it based on the total, if Tampa Bay doesn't score, is this
47:29just a low scoring field goal fest and we don't get the type of production we need from Jordan Love?
47:35But this offense clearly is a passing offense at this point.
47:39I don't even know if Josh Jacobs changes that because how bad the offensive line is when he does, if he does eventually return.
47:47So, I just look at it this way. Like, Golden's playing great.
47:50Watson's playing great. Craft is going to bounce back this week.
47:54Like, Jordan Love is worth starting as a number one quarterback.
47:57You know, Jamie, just a little peek behind the curtain here.
48:01Actually, no, I don't think I can share that part of it.
48:05Sorry. But I was going to send you a tweet, but I got lazy.
48:09Did you see what Christian Watson said? No. It's a homecoming for him.
48:13Oh. He's excited about, like, playing in front of his friends or whatever.
48:18So, I know you love that stuff. I don't think anybody's benching him.
48:22No, no. No matter where he's playing. He wants to have a big game.
48:26So, he and Golden. He and Golden both what top what receivers?
48:30I mean, Watson's a top 10 receiver and Golden's a top 20 guy.
48:34Yep. Yeah, baby. Let's do it. Golden or Waddle?
48:37Golden. I believe I have Waddle higher. All right.
48:40But you're still starting. Golden. Lied through my teeth.
48:43Golden one spot had. It's hard to get away from a guy averaging 10 targets per game.
48:48Yeah. Yeah. Tucker Craft has only a 14% target share so far this year.
48:53Is this going to be the weekday for Tucker Craft?
48:56Would you start Darren Waller over him? I don't think I would.
49:00I think it's close between those two. I know that Craft has let people down.
49:05I do have Waller right to head, so maybe I would.
49:08But that's if Coker doesn't play. So, that's how I'll wiggle my way out of that one.
49:13But Craft, low target volume is a little bit frustrating.
49:17But the offensive line's a mess. Tampa struggles against the pass.
49:20Maybe this is a week where he can get some targets in the red zone and score.
49:26Not come close to scoring. So, low end start.
49:28Kind of a borderline start. So, low end targets for the season, yes.
49:33But first game without Jayden Reed, granted through 50 times.
49:36But I think we're going to get close to 40 attempts for him again.
49:40Eight targets last week. So, I think we're looking at seven plus on a week-to-week basis for Craft.
49:46Ooh, that's a lot of targets. That would be great.
49:49They can't run the ball. I know. That's 119 targets.
49:52More than that. That's a lot. But it's hopeful.
49:55Now, this Bucs defense, Gasicki had 78 yards and a touchdown.
49:59He was wide open in the end zone for what should have been a second one.
50:04Blake Whitehart caught a touchdown. Fannon had five for 54 on six targets.
50:08Looks like a good matchup right now for tight ends.
50:11It's early, though. And the case for Craft also includes the fact that his playing time is normalized.
50:17So, I don't think we can look at his numbers and say, well, the reason why he's not doing well is because he's barely on the field.
50:26No, he's on the field a lot. And so, it's a hope.
50:29It's not backed by, you know, hard and fast data that he's going to go out there and have a big game.
50:36But this team can't run. They're trying to fix the offensive line.
50:40It's at best a work in progress. One of the easy ways to get around that is throwing short to Craft.
50:47It's just a matter of, well, you can throw short to Craft or you can throw a little bit further downfield to Watson or Golden.
50:55If you were Jordan Love, what would you do?
50:58Well, you would try to do that. But like I said, he's getting the ball out faster than any other quarterback other
51:05than Joe Burrow, I think, this year. And yet, the targets aren't as high as you'd think they'd be for Tucker Craft.
51:12Yeah, it's true. He's got such a great arm that he can get the ball out quickly and still throw the ball downfield.
51:19It's kind of crazy. On the Tampa Bay side, Bucky Irving is a top 20 guy, 15th for Jamie, 19th for Dave, 14th for Heath.
51:27And that's pretty much all we want to start.
51:30Abuka is about 35th or so in the rankings.
51:33Yeah. You know, Jamie, real quick on Abuka, the waiver wire running backs on the Dolphins, Saints, and Jets.
51:39How many of them would you start over Abuka this weekend?
51:43Just Braylon Al. About a half PPR league. Just Braylon Al.
51:46All right. And yeah, and then the Packers DST.
51:49Anybody want to start the Packers DST? Yeah. Yes.
51:52Do I want to? Not really. I don't know how you feel about it, Jamie.
51:57I thought this was a tough week for DSTs.
51:59It wasn't a great streaming week for DSTs. This was a week for Chalk, and it didn't work out with the Steelers.
52:06Well, I guess they did. They got to Watson a couple times and intercepted him.
52:11This was one of the best streaming DSTs. I mean, we have no idea what Jalen Daniels is going to look like.
52:18And he could be amazing, and we look ridiculous, or he could be terrible.
52:23And that's what undrafted free agent quarterbacks are for a reason.
52:26Yeah. I watched one of his preseason games. Okay.
52:29Go ahead. Yeah. And I think there are going to be some turnovers.
52:33He's got a strong arm. He's got some talent.
52:36He'll, based on this game. He's a one-look-and-go guy.
52:39Yeah. He'll try to make some big plays. But he'll make some mistakes based on the 20 dropbacks I saw against, I think it was the Jaguars.
52:48All right. And... I watched them all. But what you saw is the exact same thing of what he is.
52:54Yeah. Muffins are for the week, says Strew. I don't agree with...
52:58Spelled week wrong. It's the muffins of the week.
53:01Yeah. Bucky or Monty? Bucky. Bucky. Love or Herbert?
53:04Love. What'd you say? Jordan. Oh, you said Jordan.
53:06If Swift sits, Monongai or Irving? Monongai. Agreed. Neighbors or Golden?
53:10Golden. Golden. Michael Wilson or Golden? Golden. By the way, we've just previewed the entire Giants Cardinals game with those two questions.
53:17Kraft or Juwan Johnson? We didn't talk about the running backs.
53:20I know. I know. I agree, Juwan. Okay. Pick three.
53:24If Jalen Coker plays, Golden, McLaurin, Nico, Coker. Not Coker.
53:27I'd say Coker. Kraft or Likely? Kraft. Zay. Kraft or Sadiq?
53:30Sadiq. Kraft. Bucky or Javante in that brutal matchup?
53:33Bucky. Javante. Bucky and a Javante. And Likely, Vele, Abuka or Braylon Allen?
53:37Not Abuka. Tight end premium. Tight end premium. So, I'd go Likely.
53:41Okay. Green Bay. Sorry. Detroit is what I meant.
53:44At Carolina. It's that of the game. The Lions have allowed three touchdown passes in each of their first three games.
53:51They actually do get a decent amount of pressure, though.
53:54They have been ninth or tenth in pressure rate each of the last two weeks.
53:59They had five sacks against the Jets in week three.
54:02And we saw that unravel Bryce Young last week, Dave.
54:05So, what are your concerns, if you have any, about Bryce Young this week?
54:10We were so excited about how the Panthers' offensive line looked after week one.
54:14And, wow, those backup tackles look great. And by week three, those offensive tackles started to struggle.
54:20But the other big issue is that Damian Lewis, their left guard, is going to miss some time.
54:25And he missed some time last week, too, against Cleveland.
54:28And I think that that hurt Bryce Young quite a bit.
54:32And when he's pressured, his efficiency just nosedives. It's been that way ever since he's been in the league.
54:38And I would imagine that the Lions are going to take note of that.
54:43And they're going to come after Bryce Young. Obviously, they're going to do it, especially through the A-gaps where that left guard
54:50spot is and try and take him down there.
54:52And that makes me especially nervous if Coker doesn't play.
54:56Because Coker can be a good receiver for him to turn to on short throws, quick throws.
55:01And I don't know if McMillan is that guy.
55:04And if this is the case where there's no Coker and McMillan, two great games with a lot of targets.
55:10And then when they really could have used him, and maybe it was just the Browns trying to take him away without Coker on the field.
55:19He only had five targets last week. I get a little nervous about McMillan, not to the point where I'm going to sit him.
55:26But lower than expected as a number two receiver and not necessarily a number one receiver.
55:31I know the Lions secondary is ugly right now.
55:34I think the pass rush has its way with the Panthers offensive line.
55:38It's why I can't put Bryce Young back in my top 12.
55:42You've got him 15th. Jamie has him 10th. And I will give you the big news now.
55:48Jaden Daniels, according to Ben Standig, Jaden Daniels will not play this week.
55:52And Marcus Mariota is going to start for the Commanders.
55:55So my next question, Marcus Mariota or Bryce Young?
55:58Bryce. I believe I have Mariota higher. You have won one spot higher.
56:02I finally got one right. Believe in yourself. Okay, Jamie, you're more optimistic.
56:06You have Bryce Young 10th. And I think you're just fired up for this passing game in this matchup.
56:12Yeah, I think we're going to find out that this Cleveland defense is actually pretty good.
56:17This Detroit defense is not. So they may have some things planned for this Panthers defensive line.
56:23Executing it is a lot different. So Bryce struggled last week and still threw 291 yards.
56:28He's a pretty solid quarterback right now with the way that he's performing.
56:32And losing Coker sucks. But now you get the bonus of playing any tight ends against this defense.
56:38And that's where Waller comes in. And if you are stuck, very deep leagues, look at Bryce Tremaine.
56:43Bryce and Tremaine stepped up last week with both Coker and Xavier Lee not being there.
56:49And that can be the short area target that they lean on from just an option for Bryce Young.
56:55But I think just looking at it from what is expected to happen here, the Lions are going to score.
57:01And the Panthers are going to have to keep up.
57:04Will they keep up? I don't know. They did so from a fantasy perspective in week one against the Bears defense.
57:11And this defense is pretty atrocious. So I think Darren Waller has got a huge opportunity here.
57:16He is probably the only, if you still want to put Jawan Johnson in this conversation, but only free agent tight end.
57:23So even as good as Sadiq was last week, why was Sadiq great?
57:28Well, there was players missing and playing Detroit. And this is Darren Waller, players missing and playing Detroit.
57:33So whether it happens or not, it's the wide open layup.
57:37Does LeBron come and erase it like he did to Iguodala?
57:40We'll find out. But this is that perfect spot for a player to have a huge game.
57:46And hopefully Darren Waller delivers. So Waller, this is a somewhat easy game with a lot of starts, right?
57:52Like you should start Goff. Where do you guys have Goff?
57:55Let me see real quick. Goff is fifth for Jamie, ninth for Dave, fifth for Heath.
58:00You're going to, I think I'm probably going to start.
58:04I picked up Wicks, but I think I'm going to still start Jameer Gibbs over him.
58:09But we'll see. You're going to start St. Brown.
58:12You're LaPorta. You know, we can have to do some LaPorta oars.
58:15But the Waller-Coker thing is really interesting here. So right now, Waller is ninth for both of you.
58:21And where would he be if Jalen Coker plays?
58:24And one of the problems is it's Sunday night.
58:27So we may not know on Sunday. But let's say we do know.
58:31If Jalen Coker is in, Dave, what are you doing with Darren Waller?
58:35I think he would at best be 12th for me.
58:38And I would start likely ahead of him. I would start Sadiq ahead of him in that case.
58:44I'd be worried about the target volume being there for Waller in the event that Coker plays.
58:50I wouldn't move him. Yeah, I mean, I get your conviction.
58:53It is a great matchup. But again, he got all of his targets, all eight of them last week without Coker.
59:00And two touchdowns the week before with Coker. So that's like, I'm not excited about a guy who has three catches for 33 yards and two touchdowns.
59:08I would agree with you, except against this team.
59:11And they've given up two touchdowns per game, two tight ends.
59:15And so five of those guys. So it's not just been the same guy.
59:19It's six different guys. And five of them, 13.5 PPR points or more.
59:23So it's been a second tight end. So Jeremy Ruckert last week.
59:27And week one, it was Noah Fant. And week two, the floor was eight and a half for Dawson Knox.
59:34So it's just looking at this opportunity. So could there be somebody else that does it?
59:39Sure. Absolutely. Tommy Trumbull. They're abysmal. Absolutely abysmal at defending this position right now.
59:43Yeah. So and that's the question you have to ask yourself with Waller is, OK, I can pencil him in for a touchdown.
59:50Can you go beyond that? And it's just so much easier to believe in it if Coker doesn't play or if Coker,
59:58if we hear that Coker plays, but it's going to be a real limited snap count.
60:03Something like that. I, I, I'd be a little surprised if Coker ends up playing.
60:07Yeah. All right. Fair enough. And Darren Waller is going to be a start.
60:12Darren Waller or Sam Laporta? Laporta. Laporta. OK. And yeah, Jamison, Darren Waller or Jamison Williams?
60:17I'd go Waller. I might go Jamo. Jamison Williams or Braylon Allen?
60:21Allen. I believe I have. They're really close for me.
60:24Let's stop the whole show. I've got Jamo a little bit ahead of Braylon Allen.
60:29Where are you going to rank Coker if he plays?
60:3225, 26-ish. Yeah. I think he'd be behind Burden for me and I have Burden at 27.
60:37You don't want to miss. We also, unless there's guarantee, we also have to, you know, be somewhat conscientious of our readers
60:44and listeners and viewers, which we always do when we have these night games of ranking them a little bit lower in case they don't play.
60:53Yeah. Someone asked about the weather in this game.
60:56I don't think this is a game to worry about.
60:59However, there are four games that have some weather concerns, according to Kevin Roth.
61:03Cardinals, Giants, Titans, Ravens, Packers, Bucks, Rams, Eagles. Nothing too, too bad right now, but something to keep an eye on.
61:10Chuba Hubbard is a must start and let's get some questions here.
61:14Bryce Young or Joe Burrow? Joe. Young or Shuck?
61:17Shuck. Tyler Shuck is my fourth ranked quarterback this week.
61:20Goff or Hertz? Goff. Hey, you stud muffins. J-Mo, Ramondre, or Kalief Raymond?
61:24PPR. Thanks for noticing. I'll take Raymond. Raymond is safer.
61:27I didn't mention this one thing about Jamison Williams.
61:30Watching the game last week, he made a catch.
61:33The first pass of the game was to Jamison Williams.
61:36And when he made the catch, the broadcaster said, they want to get this guy more involved.
61:42So I believe they do. It's just, it's been hard.
61:45And the Jets did everything they could to take away the deep ball last week.
61:50And it was a problem for him. It worked great.
61:53Great job by the Jets. We're going to say this every week until it happens.
61:58There's going to be a blow-up game for Jamison.
62:00It might happen this week. And the setup is perfect because of the corners missing for the Panthers.
62:06So, you know, just take that into account. And Bryce or Murray?
62:10Bryce. Bryce or Darnold? Bryce. Bryce. Half PPR. Braylon Allen, Jalen Coker, or Luther Burden?
62:15I think I'm probably going to have Burden the highest of the three.
62:19Burden. Sorry, Jamo or McConkie? You'll know McConkie's status.
62:22I'd probably still go McConkie over Jamo. Okay. And let's move on to our next game.
62:27What do we got? I think we have three left here.
62:30We have... I'm sorry to make everybody wait an hour for Arizona at the Giants.
62:35It's that of the game. The Cardinals have allowed seven touchdown passes on only 53 combined pass attempts in their last two
62:42games to Drew Locke and Brock Purdy. This is a really good matchup for everyone, I think.
62:48You know, I don't know that there's a strong unit run defense or pass defense in this game.
62:53So, it's exciting, but it's hard to trust the Giants offense, Dave, for sure.
62:58The Cardinals are two and a half point favorites in New York.
63:02Who are the tough calls in this game, Dave?
63:05I think Malik Nabors is the toughest call of all because we want to believe in him.
63:10When you watch him play, you don't see it on every single play, but there are definitely flashes of the old Malik Nabors running around out there.
63:19But he is stuck right now. This offense with Jameis Winston as the quarterback is not going to be efficient at all.
63:26And Jameis really... I talked about it with Scott Turner on Wednesday.
63:29Scott thought that it had more to do with the weather than it did Jameis' skills.
63:35But I can't help myself. I believe what I see, and I see Jameis Winston taking a little bit longer in his
63:42throwing motion, taking a little bit longer to read coverage, and then his passes just aren't as fast as they used to be.
63:49That's a one-and-a-half game sample size or one-and-seven-eighths game sample size, whatever.
63:53If there was an opponent where Jameis would have time to throw, have time to make the reads, and still place the
64:00ball where it needs to be, this is it.
64:03Because Arizona's secondary isn't very good. Their pass rush isn't very good.
64:06So there are going to be chances here for Malik Nabors to make some big plays.
64:12Here's another wrench to throw in. I don't know if John Harbaugh wants to throw the ball all over the place, but
64:19he might have to let his quarterback do it because I think Arizona would put up points whether it's by running the ball or by throwing the ball.
64:28Against this Giants defense. So I can't be hyper-encouraged about Malik Nabors and go out and say, yeah, he's a top-20 receiver.
64:35Don't worry about what you saw. He's a number-three receiver.
64:38And a lot of it is based on the hope that Jameis Winston can find him and throw it him and place
64:45the ball where he can make a play after the catch.
64:48I couldn't like Jeremiah Love more. I think he's going to have an amazing week.
64:53Is he your number-one running back? No, but I feel like I would take him over some of the guys.
64:59I think I'd start him over Chase Brown. I'd start him over Aaron Jones.
65:04You guys both have him one spot ahead of Jones.
65:07Start him over Kyron Williams. Javante Williams, you guys would also do that.
65:11I'd start him over Barkley. Dave would do that.
65:14Jamie has Barkley one spot ahead. We'd start him over Gentty.
65:18I'm sure I could be wrong about that. The good thing is start all the guys that we said.
65:24I think he's our favorite. He and McBride are our two favorite players in this game.
65:29Yeah. That's not saying anything for McBride. You expect that.
65:32But we're buying into Love after last week. His playing time went up.
65:36His workload went up. He looks great. And I think Arizona leans in him.
65:41And just as this matchup is exciting for Jameis, it's exciting for Jeremiah Love, too, because the Giants defense, you said it.
65:48It's just not very good. Exciting for Michael Wilson, although I think Deontay Banks should be back for the Giants, one of their starting corners.
65:56He's missed the last two games. Michael Wilson is 19th for Jamie, 25th for Dave, 24th for Heath.
66:01Malik Neighbors is in the similar range, although Heath has Malik Neighbors 40th.
66:05But you guys both like Wilson ahead of Neighbors.
66:08Do you like Cam Scadaboo or Neighbors, Jamie? Scadaboo.
66:11How do you feel about Scadaboo this week? Mid-tier number two running back.
66:15You know, I like the fact that he was involved in the passing game last week, so hopefully that continues.
66:22It would not shock me if he scores in this game.
66:25Like Dave said, you know, Harbaugh wants to be conservative and lean into making this a low-scoring game.
66:31And we'll see if the weather impacts that as well.
66:34I kind of don't really... It's hard to judge Neighbors because, again, losing...
66:38losing Dart in the Rams game against the Rams, a pissed-off Rams team coming off that loss that they just had.
66:45And then Neighbors did get hurt however much time he missed.
66:49You know, you want to argue if that was enough or not to, you know, say that he was 100%.
66:55He clearly was bothered by something. And then you have the game in the terrible weather against the Titans.
67:01And so, look, Jameis is not the... This isn't the best version of Jameis.
67:05You know, he's, what, 32 now? 33? He's going to struggle.
67:09He's been a backup quarterback for many years for a reason now at this point.
67:14There's going to be opportunities for Malik Neighbors because of Jameis that are going to help Neighbors, especially in a game against this secondary, which stinks.
67:22And so, I think Neighbors has a chance here.
67:25My hope is that the Cardinals come out and score early and that the Giants are chasing points.
67:31And then we get, you know, sort of that track meet game.
67:35So, hopefully, the weather holds up and we get to see it.
67:38Okay. Scadaboo or Bucky Irving? Irving. They're close. I believe I have Scadaboo higher.
67:43Michael Wilson or Bucky Irving? Wilson. Michael Wilson or Bucky Irving?
67:46I think I've got Bucky a little higher. All right.
67:50And then, likely, he's ninth or tenth for you guys.
67:53He's sixth for Heath. Look, it's a prove-it week for the Giants.
67:57Keep saying it. Prove-it week for the Giants passing game.
68:00Unless there's horrible weather again and we can make another excuse for them.
68:04But they just have to show something because they've been pathetic.
68:07And it's just one of those where sometimes you watch those offenses and you're like, this offense is god-awful.
68:13And that's what they've been the last two weeks.
68:16The best news I've seen for this offense, Cam Scadaboo played 77% of the snaps last week and he was the primary
68:23third down back with Devin Singletary inactive. That is awesome.
68:27A question from the chat. Where is Jacoby Brissett in the rankings, Jamie?
68:3113th. Wow. Way too low. I've got him 12th.
68:34Bryce Younger or Jacoby Brissett? Bryce. I've got Brissett higher.
68:37That's going to flip if the weather's really bad in New Jersey on Sunday.
68:41Mariota or Brissett? Brissett, but same thing. Brissett. All right.
68:44Chat questions. Likely or Odunze, Blake Corum, or Keenan Allen?
68:48Half PPR. I'd go likely. I think I might go Keenan Allen.
68:51Likely or Sadiq? Likely. And again, we've got to keep an eye on the weather.
68:56Could change how we feel about likely. Michael Wilson or Matthew Golden?
69:00Golden. We had two times, didn't we? Golden. Maybe.
69:03Neighbors, Burden, or Addison if Jefferson is out? Burden.
69:06I believe I have Addison the highest. And then Neighbors or Burden?
69:10Burden. Burden. Burden one spot ahead of Neighbors. Mike Wilson or Parker Washington?
69:14Washington. Would you trade Neighbors for Montgomery in PPR?
69:17No chance. No. Likely or Loveland? Do you like or do you love?
69:21Likely. Next game. Oh, no DSTs here. Next game.
69:24Atlanta's at the Saints. It's Monday night. The only thing that would make me nervous about Tyler Shuck is that the Falcons
69:31are number one in pressure rate with the second lowest blitz rate in the NFL.
69:35It is one of the most shocking things so far in football that this team that had missing both of their edge
69:43rushers is number one in pressure rate. However, all three weeks, the Saints have played.
69:47The team they have played has done worse in pressure rate than what they've done for the season.
69:53In other words, they face Detroit. Detroit is eighth overall in pressure rate.
69:57They were 20th when they faced the Saints. Baltimore is 18th in pressure rate.
70:02They were 24th when they faced the Saints. The Raiders are third in pressure rate.
70:06They were 16th when they faced the Saints. And Shuck gets rid of the ball pretty quickly.
70:12But I thought that was a cool stat. The Saints are protecting him, I guess.
70:17They have a great offensive line. I was worried about how they'd hold up last week because Calvin Banks is out for a while.
70:24That's their left tackle. And it was almost unnoticeable.
70:27Yeah. Like they were still a really good offensive line.
70:30And you said it. Shuck is getting the ball out moderately quickly.
70:34It's his average time to throw is 2.72 seconds.
70:37Some of that includes him running out of the pocket, holding the ball while looking downfield and then making a throw.
70:44He does that a decent amount of the time.
70:47He's also halfway decent at avoiding the pass rush, too.
70:50He's just off to an excellent start. His pass catchers are off to an excellent start.
70:55He's got an awesome play caller. And the low-key secret is the offensive line, which we weren't sure about coming into the year.
71:02And now here they are playing great with a second string left tackle.
71:06All right. So we'll see if the pass rush can get to him here.
71:11But unbelievably, you guys all have Tyler Shuck in the top four this week.
71:15So start Tyler Shuck. We're going to sit Kyle Pitts.
71:19Let's see. This has actually been a good matchup so far for tight ends.
71:23But most of that is Brock Bowers having a huge game last week.
71:27But Laporta and Andrews both had 48 and 49 yards.
71:30We would love that from Pitts. But try to get away from him.
71:35Start London. Start Bijan. Pennix played well last week.
71:37But there's so many good quarterbacks. So we're going to sit Michael Pennix Jr.
71:42The Falcons are one of the easier teams right now to talk about for fantasy.
71:47So when it comes to the Saints, we're starting Olave.
71:50Juwan Johnson, do you like him or Isaiah Likely better?
71:53Juwan. Juwan. All right. He's eighth right now. His target share has been pretty damn low.
71:5813.5%, 12.5%. Last week, 20%, which is fine. But, you know, they're throwing the ball a ton.
72:04I guess that's my one concern of this, like, house of cards could fall down if they just don't throw the ball.
72:11If they get a run game going? Well, or whatever happens.
72:14But you're right. They don't have much of a run game.
72:18Yeah. So it's Vele and it's Kamara and Kendry Miller.
72:21How would you rank those three, Dave? Vele, Kamara, Miller?
72:24You just did. Jamie? Same. All right. I would love to see some chat questions about Kamara.
72:29Kamara or Hampton? Hampton. Hampton. Vele or Hampton? Hampton.
72:32Double checking. In full PPR, I've got – they are back-to-back.
72:36I've got Hampton a spot ahead of Vele. I don't know how much I like that.
72:41All right. I'm seeing some Kamara questions come in right now.
72:44So why don't you ask them? How about this one?
72:48Kyle Pitts or just leave the tight end spot?
72:51Yeah. Michael Penix or Herbert? Penix. I'll take Herbert.
72:53Chris Godwin or Kamara? Kamara. Kamara. Stefan Diggs, Devon Vele, or Dontavian Wicks?
72:58Great question. I would go Vele. So I right now have Diggs the highest of the three, but it looks like we're
73:05going to get Chigo Conquo back, and it makes me wonder if that hurts Diggs a little bit.
73:10So I think I might end up going Vele.
73:13I need two. DJ Moore, Jawan Johnson, Jalen Wright.
73:16I'm saying Jalen Wright. Same. Alvin Kamara, Rashad White, who did not practice again today, and I'm thinking is probably not going to play, or Monongah.
73:24Kamara or Monongah? If Swift is out, you're starting Monongah.
73:28If Swift is in, you're starting Kamara. Yep. Kamara or Bejal Tootin?
73:31Tootin. Toot, toot. Kendry Miller, Kamara, Keaton Mitchell, or Tony Pollard?
73:35Rank them. Kamara, Pollard, Mitchell, Miller. That's how I have it.
73:38And Kamara, Hampton, or RJ Harvey? Harvey. Hampton. Jamie, give me real quick your expectations for Kamara and Kendry Miller.
73:45I think they're going to split probably 60-40 in favor of Kamara.
73:49My guess is that we'll see CJ Donaldson also factoring in to some degree, but I hope it's not much.
73:55Kamara will catch probably three to five passes. Most of that will come on first and second down.
74:01Probably looking at 60 total yards with a chance to score.
74:04I believe he's played either one or zero third down snaps Kamara has this year.
74:09Yeah. And that's because Donaldson has that role. Donaldson is basically LaQuint Allen.
74:13Yeah, that's a great way to put it. Miami's at Minnesota, our last game here.
74:18Which Dolphins would you consider starting Jamie? Malik Washington in three receiver leagues and desperation, desperation, desperation, running back situation, Jalen Wright over Raleigh Gordon.
74:26I would start Malik Willis if you're in a tight spot in the 2QB league.
74:31That's about it. That's about it. Malik Washington or Devon Vele?
74:34Vele. Vele. Jalen Wright, as of yesterday, was 51% rostered.
74:37We don't like him this week. I get it.
74:40But, you know, the best guess is that he is going to be the lead running back for the Miami Dolphins.
74:47So, you could do worse. Dave talked about it on Beat the Waver Wire with Jalen Wright.
74:52We'll start Jalen Wright or Keaton Mitchell this week.
74:55Mitchell, if he's healthy. I believe I have Mitchell higher.
74:58Let me confirm. All right. Kyler Murray is 19th for Jamie, 18th for Dave, 23rd for Heath.
75:04This is a great matchup. However, only, you know, I say that, but only one quarterback's actually done well against the Dolphins, and it was Purdy.
75:12Cousins and Mahomes are right around 20 fantasy points.
75:15You don't have to throw on them. Only one quarterback has more than 24 pass attempts against the Dolphins so far.
75:22Aaron Jones or Chuba Hubbard? Chuba, but I like both.
75:25I feel the exact same way. Aaron Jones or Malik Neighbors?
75:28Jones. Aaron Jones or DJ Moore, if Gonzalez plays?
75:31Jones. Jones either way. Either way. Jones either way.
75:34I mean, you look at the three running backs that they've faced so far, and granted, Jones is not in this caliber
75:41of player yet, or maybe never again. Never again.
75:44Gentry, huge game, over 21 PPR points. McCaffrey, huge game, over 21 PPR points.
75:49Ken Walker, huge game, over 21 PPR points. They are the worst run defense in fantasy points allowed.
75:54Now, again, three elite players, or borderline elite players, if you're back to Argentian.
75:59But Jones is coming off such a great game.
76:02I hope, I hope, I hope it's not just a Jefferson thing, but finally got involved in the passing.
76:08It finally involved their running backs in the passing.
76:11Maybe that's just a Kyler thing. So, weeks one and two, Jones had no catches.
76:15Mason had no catches in week one. So, five catches last week.
76:19Like, let's keep that going. That would be fun.
76:22And I will say for the Dolphins, though, they faced Gentry, McCaffrey, and Walker, and they're only allowing 3.9 yards per carry to running backs, which is great.
76:31But they do get... How much of that is the starters, though?
76:35Do you want to find out? A lot. I mean...
76:38Oh, okay. Did you already... McCaffrey was 10 carries for 23 yards.
76:42Ken Walker was 18 carries for 70 yards. Gentry was 23 carries for 102 yards, which is fine.
76:48So, they've done a decent job. But still, they give up a ton of points and a lot of carries.
76:54Yeah, they sold out to stop McCaffrey. Well, it didn't work.
76:58Well, it worked to stop him. It didn't work to win the game.
77:02Jordan Addison is super interesting. He had nine targets last week where Kyler Murray only threw 29 passes.
77:07You're going to probably sit him if Jefferson plays.
77:10But if Jefferson's out, which is the way you guys are ranking it, 28th for Jamie, 22nd for Dave, 37th for Heath.
77:17But, man, I'd have a tough time leaving him out of my lineup, Dave, Jordan Addison.
77:22We saw that Murray and Addison were practicing together during the offseason, and I think some of that work paid off last week.
77:30And it obviously helps that Justin Jefferson didn't play for much of the game last week.
77:35And that's really what matters the most here. And so, if Jefferson ends up playing, I think you're going to move Addison down.
77:42A lot closer to where Heath has him ranked, which is a low-end number three wide receiver.
77:48But if there is no Jefferson, then Add him.
77:51We're looking at a guy who's got a chance to really rip up this Dolphins pass defense nicely.
77:56They have yet to allow two receivers to get double digits in PPR points, so it's just something to keep in mind.
78:03Yeah. That's why you'd move Addison way down if Jefferson plays.
78:07They haven't been bad because only one receiver has more than five targets against the Dolphins.
78:12It was Rashee Rice last week. And sit TJ Hawkinson, I guess.
78:16But, yeah. You know, he might end up being the number two target getter.
78:20I know. There's no Josh Oliver. There's no Justin Jefferson.
78:23Right. That might be four targets. Mm-hmm. I think we're done.
78:27Minnesota's DST is number one for everyone. Number one.
78:30Aaron Jones or Chase Brown? I have Brown higher.
78:33Still Brown, but it wouldn't surprise me if Jones is better.
78:36Tyler Murray or Mariota? Mariota. Marcus Mariota. Chris Bell breakout game?
78:40I would be surprised. Fourth quarter. It's 23-0 Minnesota, and the Vikings call off the dogs when they don't blitz, then maybe.
78:47Kyler. Caleb Douglas may play, too. Just keep in mind.
78:50Kyler may or Gino. He hasn't been practicing. Yeah.
78:53Kyler may or Gino? Gino. Eugene Smith. Would you trade Jefferson for Kyron Williams?
78:57No. I would prefer not to, but again, we're looking at what the running back position is.
79:03You're going to have to overpay. That's too much of an overpay.
79:06Stop the madness. Muffins or Cinnabon? Muffins. Muffins. Muffins.
79:09Kyler or Dak? Come on. Yeah. All right. Thank you, everybody.
79:13Oh, last one. Murray or Cousins? I'd go Murray.
79:16I've got Murray higher, but I bet I can make the case for Cousins to be better.
79:21I tell you, I will not live in a land that robs men of the right to marry their cousins.
79:28All right. We'll talk to you. No, Dave? No?
79:30I thought the show ended like... I think that's Lemon of Troy, one of the best Simpsons episodes ever.
79:36Yes, yes, yes. Okay. Chibidaya, Springfield, or Shelbyville? All right.
79:40We've got to go. We've got to go. We're out of here.
