A.J. Brown

NegativeProjection60:23

AJ Brown cracked tier two in wide receiver rankings; he has more upside than Rashi Rice but Rice is the better bet for 100 catches this year. Brown is ranked 10th and is a fantastic shot if you want to mitigate all risk as much as possible.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

NegativeProjection59:01

Apple Pay. Apply is invested in Ashton Jeanty as an RB1 but not as high as others; concerned the offense isn't fully solved and skeptical of 90% snap share projections, believing 70% snap share may still be optimistic given Clint Kubiak's track record of not committing to high-volume backs.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

NegativeValue40:48

Bijan Robinson received 47% of listener poll votes in a head-to-head comparison with Jameer Gibbs, reflecting the extremely tight consensus between these two elite running back prospects; the near-even split demonstrates the difficulty in separating them at the top tier.

Insight page
NegativeProjection68:22

Bijan Robinson received 47% of listener poll votes in a head-to-head comparison with Jameer Gibbs for RB2 consideration when Walker is off the board, showing competitive support.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeProjection44:01

Projected under 7.5 rushing touchdowns despite expectations for a bump this season; has only 91 red zone touches in his four-year career compared to Christian McCaffrey's 91 in a single season, illustrating the gap in offensive opportunity and efficiency between the two players.

Insight page
NegativeProjection59:36

Breece Hall is projected to score under 7.5 rushing touchdowns this season; Apple Pay. Apply is betting under on this prop.

Insight page

Cam Akers

NegativeValue41:40

Cam Akers is ranked as RB19 in tier four (darn good RB2s), positioned alongside other mid-tier running back options in the tier-four tier.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveProjection18:00

Field Yates ranks Chase Brown as RB8 in his tier-two grouping of "Rockstar RB ones" deserving first-round or near-first-round consideration. Yates notes Brown is also extension-eligible, similar to Jonathan Taylor.

Insight page
PositiveProjection18:04

Ranked RB8 for 2025 after strong late-season performance in 2024. From week 8 onward, Brown posted consecutive finishes of RB5, RB6, RB12, RB13, RB10, RB6, RB13, RB1, RB3, and RB7 with no game under 15 fantasy points or lower than RB13. Averaged 21.2 fantasy points per game weeks 8-17 (RB3 pace). Improvement driven by Bengals defense becoming respectable after offseason spending, reducing shootout game script dependency. Even with modest regression from RB3 pace, projects as RB8-RB10 with requisite passing game usage and average rushing efficiency.

Insight page
PositiveProjection18:04

After averaging 21.2 fantasy points per game from week 8 through season end (RB3 pace), Brown is projected to regress slightly to RB8–RB10 range for the full season. With Joe Burrow on field, he averaged 19.4 fantasy points per game (RB6 range); without Burrow, 14.1 fantasy points per game (RB14 range). The gap is driven by touchdown variance (9 with Burrow, 2 without), but volume-based rushing efficiency should remain stable. Back-to-back seasons of 11 touchdowns support top-10 back floor even if Bengals defense improves.

Insight page
PositiveValue65:51

Chase Brown's ADP is around 25, making him available in the third round; analysts are comfortable targeting him in round two, viewing the draft capital as justified.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeProjection14:00

Liz Loza ranks Christian McCaffrey as RB9 (sometimes RB10), citing the 370-touch rule and his 413-450 total touches last season. She applied the same logic that led her to downgrade Saquon Barkley last year (who finished RB12), arguing that running backs with heavy touch workloads rarely repeat production the following year. At 30 years old coming off his heaviest workload ever, McCaffrey's efficiency as a rusher declined last season, and historical data shows that of 15 running backs over two decades who cleared 300 carries in back-to-back seasons, only six reached 1,000 rushing yards the next year. Loza concludes: "there's too much risk at his ADP given the touch and the workload."

Insight page
PositiveProjection16:00

Field Yates makes the case for Christian McCaffrey as RB3 overall (and potentially RB1), emphasizing his durability (played all 17 games last year despite injury history), elite receiving production (on the shortlist for greatest receiving running back in NFL history), and the repeatable nature of his fantasy success. Yates notes Kyle Shanahan "has a Christian McCaffrey problem" and can't help himself deploying CMC, and the Niners offense is "banked up basically everywhere but him," ensuring consistent opportunity. Yates ranks him as the number three player on his overall board, not just at running back.

Insight page
NegativeProjection20:29

Ranked RB9, reflecting concerns about his role and production outlook. The speaker has stated concerns about McCaffrey but does not elaborate on specifics in this segment.

Insight page
NegativeValue40:56

Christian McCaffrey received 0% of the vote in a listener poll comparing top-tier running backs, a notable absence from the elite conversation despite his historical pedigree, suggesting either market saturation at his ADP or recency concerns about his draft positioning.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

PositiveRole57:37

Chuba Hubbard is the guy to begin the season; he does everything pretty well, not a lot of things off the charts good, but everything pretty well.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveProjection61:12

Colston Loveland is the preferred pick over Roma Dune Day and Luther Burden III when asked which Bears pass-catcher to take; both analysts would go with Colston Loveland if taking a pass-catcher from the Bears.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveProjection24:36

Ranked RB7 by speaker but sees him sliding to RB11 in other analysts' rankings; speaker is more optimistic, viewing Henry as a low-end RB1 or high-end RB2 target. Believes Ravens are rejuvenated and Henry is an outlier among running backs—built differently than almost any back of this era—who can maintain elite production with huge workloads year over year. Prefers acquiring Henry after taking two wide receivers or one wide receiver early.

Insight page
NegativeProjection24:53

Ranked as low-end RB1 due to durability and age concerns entering his age 32 season in 2025. Despite 325 carries and 19 receptions in 2024 with over 5 yards per carry efficiency, the speaker notes age is a risk factor and sooner or later a fall-off will occur; Henry is an outlier anomaly in fantasy football history, but the asterisk remains. Prefers acquiring him as high-end RB2 rather than first-round pick.

Insight page
NegativeProjection30:58

Derrick Henry is ranked number seven in Field Yates' running back tiers. The source notes that the order within the tier is probably more interesting than the tier classification itself, suggesting Henry's ranking relative to other backs in the tier warrants discussion, though specific reasoning is not provided in the excerpt.

Insight page

Isiah Pacheco

PositiveRole58:43

Isaiah Pacheco will play the David Montgomery role in the Lions offense; while he will not have standalone value as a running back in this offense, if Jameer Gibbs is not there, he would take over that Montgomery role who saw 15, 12, and 8 touchdowns. If anything happened to Jameer Gibbs in the number two offense in the NFL, Pacheco should be talked about as a more valuable insurance running back than currently ranked.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

PositiveProjection30:45

Daniel is very much in on Jadarian Price, ranking him as a legitimate running back two (RB19 overall). With the Seahawks being the third run-heaviest team in the NFL last year and having the fourth most goal-line opportunities, Price is in a great spot with Zach Charbonnet's uncertain return timeline. The Seahawks' offense is built around the run game with Sam Darnold at quarterback, and Price has the opportunity to establish himself early against bottom-10 run defenses (Cardinals and Commanders in weeks 2-3) before Charbonnet returns. Daniel calls Price his favorite running back in this tier because he has the best chance to reach RB1 possibilities based on his clear role and the offense's scheme.

Insight page
NegativeBust30:45

The source has two hesitations about Jadarian Price's ranking: (1) he had only six catches during his last season at Notre Dame while sharing time with Jeremiah Love, raising questions about his receiving ability; (2) while the Seahawks system is similar to Notre Dame's, the new play caller Brian Fleury (hired from the 49ers as their tight ends coach) is an unknown quantity, creating uncertainty about offensive execution.

Insight page
PositiveProjection67:03

Jadarian Price is worth the hype in Seattle to a point; analysts plan to discuss an important stat that may reveal disagreement on his ceiling or role.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection18:00

Field Yates ranks James Cook as RB6 in his tier-two grouping of "Rockstar RB ones" deserving first-round or near-first-round consideration.

Insight page
PositiveProjection20:33

Ranked RB3, positioned as an obvious positive candidate. Cook is viewed as a breakout or upside play compared to other top-tier running backs, with the speaker noting he is RB6 in their own rankings but acknowledging Cook's elevated ranking as a strong call.

Insight page
PositiveProjection24:17

Ranked between RB3 and RB6 across analysts; described as a really good player who plays behind a lead offensive line that will support a ton of points.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveValue27:23

Javante Williams is ranked as RB15 in tier four (darn good RB2s), positioned just ahead of Brees Hall at RB16; Apple Pay. Apply prefers Williams over Hall due to superior offensive infrastructure—Denver's elite offense versus the Jets' dismal unit—and better touchdown upside, though the two are very close in value and could easily be reversed.

Insight page
NegativeRole43:01

Javante Williams has limited receiving upside compared to Brees Hall, a key differentiator in the close comparison between the two running backs; while Williams secured a contract extension signaling organizational commitment, his pass-game role is less developed than Hall's, which factors into the split decision between the two tier-four backs.

Insight page
PositiveProjection43:42

Gets a slight ranking bump over Breece Hall due to the Jets' likelihood of blowing out opponents and running out the clock late in games, which reduces passing work and increases rushing opportunity; positioned just above Hall in tier rankings.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveProjection4:50

If Jeremiah Love had been drafted at number five in the draft, he might have been selected by the New York Giants; the Giants' offense, if Malik Neighbors is healthy, should give him even more opportunities to find the end zone.

Insight page
NegativeProjection30:10

Jeremiah Love is included in Field Yates' tier three of running backs classified as RB1s, positioned among Josh Jacobs, Saquon Barkley, Ashton Jettey, and Omarion Hampton. The tier represents backs with top-eight upside, though the specific order and ranking rationale for Love within this tier is not detailed in the excerpt.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout46:48

Identified as a sneaky off-season winner; if drafted at pick five, would likely land with the New York Giants, positioning him in an offense with potential upside; represents a breakout candidate in the right landing spot.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

NegativeValue5:18

Jonathan Taylor signed a two-year, $44 million extension with the Colts, removing contract uncertainty heading into the season. Field Yates notes this eliminates the risk of Taylor holding out or sitting out if injured, which had been a minor concern before the deal was finalized. The extension provides peace of mind for drafters but does not change the fundamental talent evaluation.

Insight page
NegativeProjection18:18

Liz Loza expresses concern about Jonathan Taylor's workload sustainability after he touched the ball 369 times last season (just one touch shy of the 370-touch rule threshold). She analyzed two decades of NFL data and found only 15 running backs have cleared 300 carries in back-to-back seasons; of those 15, only six reached 1,000 rushing yards the following year, and only four played every game. Taylor's production is heavily dependent on Daniel Jones: he averaged nearly 25 fantasy points per game with Jones under center versus less than 13 without him, creating significant downside risk if Jones misses time.

Insight page
NegativeProjection19:02

Historical precedent suggests workload concerns: of 13 running backs with 370+ touches in a season, only four (LT, Chris Johnson, Michael Turner, Marshawn Lynch) played every game the next season. Taylor touched the ball 369 times last season, just one touch shy of the 370 threshold, raising durability questions despite recent contract extension.

Insight page
NegativeRole19:19

Significant efficiency drop when Daniel Jones is off the field: Taylor averaged nearly 25 fantasy points per game with Jones under center versus less than 13 points per game without him. With Jones recovering from an Achilles injury, there are concerns about his ability to handle the expected volume efficiently despite remaining the offensive centerpiece.

Insight page
NegativeProjection20:20

Ranked fourth among running backs despite workload concerns. The speaker acknowledges Taylor will be the offensive centerpiece with guaranteed volume, but expresses worry about his ability to handle that volume efficiently given the historical durability data and quarterback health context.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveBreakout57:27

Jonathan Brooks is in the category of guys that could leapfrog the starter; however, Apple Pay. Apply is a Chuba Hubbard believer that he is the guy to begin the season.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeValue57:55

Jordan Mason is in tier eight, a valuable holds tier; these are 16-team bye-week players in some cases coming off boards around the 14th-15th round in terms of ADP.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeProjection30:10

Josh Jacobs is included in Field Yates' tier three of running backs classified as RB1s, positioned among names like Saquon Barkley, Ashton Jettey, Omarion Hampton, and Jeremiah Love. The tier represents backs with top-eight upside, though the specific order and ranking rationale for Jacobs within this tier is not detailed in the excerpt.

Insight page

Justice Hill

NegativeValue58:34

Justice Hill is in tier nine, a hold tier for just-in-case scenarios.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeValue57:55

Keaton Mitchell is in tier eight, a valuable holds tier; these are 16-team bye-week players in some cases coming off boards around the 14th-15th round in terms of ADP. Apple Pay. Apply's Keaton Mitchell point is less about the standalone value anticipated for Mitchell, more about how he thinks Mitchell is enough of a thing that he is lower on Amari and Hampton.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection18:00

Field Yates ranks Kenneth Walker III as RB9 overall and expresses optimism about his outlook. Yates previously discussed Walker on Monday's show and revisits his positive outlook on the running back.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeValue41:40

Kyron Williams is ranked as RB17 in tier four (darn good RB2s), positioned alongside other mid-tier running back options in the tier-four tier.

Insight page

Luther Burden

NegativeProjection61:12

Luther Burden III is ranked behind Roma Dune Day in wide receiver rankings; when asked which Bears wide receiver to take, Apple Pay. Apply chose Colston Loveland instead.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

NegativeRole65:19

Rookie running back out of Arkansas expected to be a factor in the Broncos backfield, positioning him as a potential insurance or complementary option to Ashton Jeanty.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeProjection30:10

Omarion Hampton is included in Field Yates' tier three of running backs classified as RB1s, positioned among Josh Jacobs, Saquon Barkley, Ashton Jettey, and Jeremiah Love. The tier represents backs with top-eight upside, though the specific order and ranking rationale for Hampton within this tier is not detailed in the excerpt.

Insight page

Samaje Perine

NegativeValue58:34

Samaje Pirine is in tier nine, a hold tier for just-in-case scenarios.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeProjection30:10

Saquon Barkley is included in Field Yates' tier three of running backs classified as RB1s, positioned among Josh Jacobs, Ashton Jettey, Omarion Hampton, and Jeremiah Love. The tier represents backs with top-eight upside, though the specific order and ranking rationale for Barkley within this tier is not detailed in the excerpt.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveRole3:00

Diggs joins the Commanders as the clear wide receiver two on the team, taking over a role vacated by departing receivers; Field Yates notes he's "owning that role rather than trying to be the wide receiver one" and is "in a great spot" with Jaden Daniels at quarterback. Last year with the Patriots, Diggs played 55% of snaps but finished ninth in total catches and 16th in receiving yards despite limited opportunity; the Commanders had only three receivers with 250+ receiving yards last season (Terry McLaurin, Debo Samuel, Zach Ertz), all now gone, creating significant target opportunity.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeValue41:40

Travis Etienne is ranked as RB18 in tier four (darn good RB2s), positioned alongside other mid-tier running back options in the tier-four tier.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeValue57:55

Tyrone Tracy Jr. is in tier eight, a valuable holds tier; these are 16-team bye-week players in some cases coming off boards around the 14th-15th round in terms of ADP.

Insight page

Woody Marks

NegativeValue58:34

Woody Marks is in tier nine, a hold tier for just-in-case scenarios.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeValue57:55

Zach Charbonnet is in tier eight, a valuable holds tier; these are 16-team bye-week players in some cases coming off boards around the 14th-15th round in terms of ADP.

0:38that will never play in the NFL. Maybe. But I also haven't watched a football game since the Super Bowl.
0:43That's right. That's kind of exciting to me. I'll be pumped about that real actual football.
0:48Liz, you're here for a couple more days. It is always great to be able to have you.
0:53And by the way, you and I have a show coming out today.
0:57Maybe we do a little promo for Facts Versus Fears.
1:00Oh, okay. We're going to debut a little bit later today.
1:03Yeah, we worked double duty yesterday. That's right. On the NFL and ESPN YouTube page, right here where you're watching Fantasy Focus,
1:09you can watch Facts Versus Feelings with Liz Loza and I.
1:12Going to be a ton of fun dropping a little bit later today.

1:21Going to be a ton of fun. That's right.
1:23Going to be a blast. As we always do a lot of swag, food, hanging out, answering questions, doing all the good stuff.
1:30Taking pictures, shaking babies, all the things. Do you think if I said that Jalen Brunson might be there even though that's not true at all?
1:37It would entice people to buy more tickets? Maybe.
1:40Jalen Brunson might be there. It's possible. He lives in New York.
1:43It's true. His wife is fantastic. She is a just like him Chicago native.
1:47Yeah. I mean, I am pumped to see if it happens.
1:50But if Jalen Brunson shows up, I just want to say like shows probably off and we're just going to, we're just
1:57going to hoop it up outside for a little bit.
2:00You're going to hang with him? Oh, well. Well, he has caught a touchdown from Russell Wilson.
2:04It would only be fitting to slam home a layup from Jalen Brunson.
2:08That's right. You guys are kind of the same height.
2:11I kind of. Okay. Hey, listen, he's the NBA Finals MVP.
2:14And with that, let's thank you Field NBA Finals MVP.
2:17Why don't we take a quick look back? Because our buddy Phil Jates was on one yesterday.
2:22Yes. He called this. We were talking about Stefan Diggs might go to a place and then we got some news later in the day.
2:29Adam Schefter, let us know Stefan Diggs going to the commander's field.
2:32You said, I think this might happen soon. Did you really think it was going to happen that soon?
2:38I'm not going to lie. I don't know. Christina, we rolling the video right now.
2:42I can shut up and listen. Let's see it.
2:45All right. Let's see it. You know what? This will be called laying out.
2:49So let's go. Last thing. I just think you're all sleeping on Terry McLaurin and you guys do every year.
2:54That's it. Okay. There is a grand opportunity here.
2:57I would say that I am already baking in the opportunity of like, I think there are Stefan Diggs team very soon.
3:03Oh, so that is part of your calculus, which I think is important to note that because that that is very true.
3:09Obviously, Maryland. Very soon. Field Yates. I didn't know.
3:12I did not know it was that soon. I mean, like I thought, I mean, I just sort of put two and two together, right?
3:19It was the most obvious wide receiver to need in the NFL with the best free agent wide receiver available.
3:25Tyreek Hill is very much still far away from when he's going to return to full strength.
3:30So Stefan Diggs, DMV guys, Liz noted goes to DC and guys, I've already updated my rankings.
3:34I'm sure you guys have as well. He checks in his wide receiver 33 for me in my initial ranks that could go up a little bit.
3:42So what this is good last year? Like period flat out.
3:45Good. He played 55% of the snaps for the Patriots.
3:48That's not a lot. He, of course, was coming off that ACL tear.
3:52Yep. The guy was top 16 in both catches and receiving yards.
3:55I think he actually was ninth in total catches and 16th in receiving yards.
3:59You guys probably recall, obviously the Patriots did not play this dominant schedule, but they had some big primetime games when they
4:05went to, they went to Buffalo kind of stamped themselves as a real team early in the season.
4:11Stefan Diggs was the best player on the field.
4:13Baltimore Ravens game, Southern I football down multiple scores in the second half.
4:17Stefan Diggs once again, took over like there's good ball left for Stefan Diggs.
4:21Yep. He goes to a great quarterback, obviously in Jaden Daniels.
4:24And if you can name a, how many players and be who those players were that had at least 250 receiving yards
4:30of the commanders last year, bravo to you. I'm not sure that I could name more.
4:35You can name one. Terry McLaurin. Yes. You can probably name at least one more.
4:39Debo Samuel. Debo Samuel's two. Okay. Zach Ertz. Three.
4:42Nice job by you guys. They're all gone. Two out of those three guys are gone.
4:46So there is opportunity here for Stefan Diggs. Am I crazy optimistic?
4:50No, I love it. Where you're talking about wide receiver 33.
4:53He's, he's clearly at this point of his career, the wide receiver two on his team.
4:57I think he is owning that role rather than trying to be the wide receiver one.
5:02I think he's in a great spot and it really helps Jaden Daniels just have another weapon in that offense.
5:07I like it mostly for Jaden Daniels. Yeah. We're all even more now.
5:11But I just want to say most prescient analyst in the NFL.
5:15That's right. My goodness. Flowers to feel Jaden. You know what I would say?
5:19Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Sometimes it's better to be good than lucky.
5:23Well, we're both. Jonathan Taylor was good and got a lot of money because of it.
5:28That wasn't luck. And Jonathan Taylor's extension. I mean, we already thought great things about Jonathan Taylor.
5:33That's not going to change anything, but the Colts just re-upping their investment in him.
5:37We'll have a conversation surrounding JT in a little bit with our running back tears.
5:41But for any of these guys in which a contract is a thing until that thing is done, meaning the contract, it
5:47gives you, I don't know, 1% more hesitation about pulling the trigger on that player.
5:52Because for Jonathan Taylor, it's going to be in the first round.
5:55It probably will be closer to 10 than it will be to one, but he's to go in the first round in your drafts.
6:02Now there's not the fear or the worry about him, A, not having a new deal until early in the season, or
6:08B, if he has no deal at all and that hamstring gets sore, then you know, hey, he's not going to risk it.
6:15So JT was the less discussed out of the B.
6:18John and Jameer Gibbs and Jonathan Taylor contract negotiations, but good to have this one taken care of.
6:23The Colts have had a busy and expensive off season.
6:25Yeah, they have. Three years, 75 million, right? I think B.
6:29John is three for 75. Okay. JT, I think is two for 44.
6:32Oh, you're right. You're right. I think. Two for 44.
6:35Two for 44. You are correct. So, Alec Pierce is getting more money per year than Jonathan Taylor.
6:40Is that right? You know, Daniel, this is not the Our Running Backs Valuable podcast.
6:45Okay, got it. We can have a great conversation about that in the Our Running Backs Valuable podcast.
6:50I don't know. I mean, I don't know. It's bizarre.
6:53I'm with you. All right. So before we dive into all this, we're doing running back tears today.
6:58In case you are diving in for the first day, today is your first day coming and hanging out with us on Fantasy Focus.
7:04First off, thank you very much. We're very excited that you're here.
7:08Go back. Check out Monday's show. Monday's show, we did the 10 biggest moves of the offseason.
7:13Just kind of set the groundwork of some of the things that happened in case you missed it.
7:18Tuesday, we had a big mock draft. Everyone loved Liz's team.
7:21God damn it. I know. Sorry about that, Field.
7:24Wednesday, yesterday, we did wide receiver tiers. Field brought together his entire tier package of all the wide receivers in the NFL.
7:30Liz and I took him to task on that, and we're doing the same thing again today with the running back position.
7:36But just in case someone didn't listen yesterday, Field, and they don't understand why we talk about rankings versus tiers.
7:42Give me that quick breakdown again of the difference between the two.
7:45Yeah. Once again, every player is ranked. So if you ask me two players, I can go to my rankings and say,
7:51I do have this guy ranked ahead of that guy.
7:54But I just think that it draws a delineation between guys that are very narrowly clustered together versus players where the rep, like where the drop is real.
8:02Right. I mean, and you'll see this within the tiers, but we'll talk about why a tier to me is more valuable
8:09than a pure ranking at the very, very top of the running back key.
8:13But I like people to think of these guys more like buckets than opposed to just one is clearly better to clearly
8:19better than three clearly better than four. There are situations where it's like the difference between running back for running back five is pretty different.
8:26Yes, but there are situations where it's running back one versus running back to a flip flop three times throughout the offseason.
8:32A reasonable person could say, hey, I'm convinced that you are wrong here.
8:36And I would say, yeah, you're fine. You're probably right.
8:39So that's why tiers are valuable to me. Rankings make it appear as though the gap between every player is the same distance.
8:45Well said. And tiers is not very much so.
8:48Sophia, let's dive into that. Your tier one of the running back room.
8:52Who you got in this first tier? These are guys who I am calling 1.01 candidates.
8:56It's three players. We'll focus on two, but I don't want to forget about three.
9:00B. John Robinson, RB1. Jameer Gibbs, RB2. Christian McCaffrey, RB3.
9:03The number one question that I get during the offseason is who are you taking number one overall every single year?
9:09Yep. This year, the two most prominent candidates have been Jameer Gibbs and B.
9:13John Robinson. Yep. Those are my top two ranked players overall, not just at the running back position.
9:18I have leaned ever so slightly towards B. John.
9:21My calculus, I think it's important to think of it this way.
9:24If I were to take and make a hundred selections of the number one overall pick, I would probably be taking B.
9:31John something like 53 or 55 times. It wouldn't be 90 times.
9:34It's not a 90 to 10 split of B.
9:37John over Jameer Gibbs. It's very close. I think B.
9:39John is a slightly ever so slightly more talented player.
9:42I think he's a better pure runner than Jameer Gibbs.
9:45And I have a little bit more confidence in the Atlanta offensive line than the reshaped Detroit offensive line.
9:50These are very small margins here. I love Jameer Gibbs, but B.
9:54John Robinson to me is worthy of that one dot oh one pick.
9:58I'm in agreement with you. I also have B.
10:00John number one overall at the position. He's an every down talent.
10:04He's been top five at the position, both in carries and receptions and back to back seasons.
10:08We know that he is also attached to a play caller this year in Kevin Stefanski who likes to establish the run.
10:15No Tyler Algier available to poach the goal line as much.
10:18I just don't think Brian Robinson has as forceful or dominant a skill set in that regard.
10:23So I think there'd be more goal line equity for Robinson this season and knock on wood.
10:27He has yet B. John Robinson this season. He has yet to miss a single game over three seasons, only 24 years old.
10:34Love that. I mean, Jameer, we can make the Jameer Gibbs case too.
10:38I'm not trying to speak out of both sides.
10:40I'm going to allow Daniel to do that because I mean, do you have him?
10:45You have a Marvy one, which is not some crazy take, but make your case for Jameer Gibbs is one dot oh one.
10:51I love this Lions offense getting rid of David Montgomery the same way that the Falcons got rid of Tyler Algier.
10:57I just feel like David Montgomery was a better player than Tyler Algier, but both of these guys did lose somebody notable by yes behind them.
11:05Jameer Gibbs unbelievable pass catcher just like Bajon Robinson.
11:07That's a major part of his skill set. He's got that home run ability at any minute.
11:12He can take it to the house and he should touch the ball 20 to 25 times in an offense that is
11:18one of if not the best scoring offenses in the NFL and has been over the last couple of years.
11:24The one thing I will say is I can fully buy into the narrative narrative of if I just want to be a little bit safer.
11:31Like I've already said, I think Bajon's frame is Bill makes me a little bit feel a little bit better rather than
11:38like, you know, Jameer is a little bit slight.
11:40However, I you can't go wrong with Jameer Gibbs and all the things that he did last year.
11:45So do you hear I would say that neither one of our arguments is so passionate.
11:50Now we're like, you know, this is the clear cut right answer and you are wrong.
11:54Even you a Lions fan who would probably be inclined to feel strongly about Jameer Gibbs as 1.01 is kind of like,
12:01yeah, I mean, I would take him 1.01, but you know, Bajon at 1.01 is also perfectly acceptable.
12:06This is why tears matter to me so much and why I tend to tell people if you're asking me this question,
12:12like take your energy that you are using to try to decide between these two players and put it on more consequential decisions later on in your draft.

13:28Available online at fivehourenergy.com or Amazon. I don't want to overlook Christian McCaffrey though in this conversation.
13:33Would either of you ever entertain taking Christian McCaffrey first overall?
13:36No. Okay, and what's your reason against that? I would love, I have a whole reason, but I would love for Liz
13:43to tell us because we've talked about this also on facts versus feelings.
13:46A lot of shout outs for facts versus feelings on the show today.
13:50About the 370 touch rule. I just saw something I need to ask you about in a second.
13:55Oh. Go ahead, Liz. Well, the rule of 370 is 370 total touches leads to a drastic decline in efficiency and production the following year.
14:02Immediately following. No in between, right? And I followed that rule when talking about and ranking Saquon Barkley last season.
14:08A lot of people didn't like what I had to say.
14:11I said it anyway. And I wasn't saying that Saquon Barkley because of his touch total was going to be a bust,
14:17but just that he wasn't worth a early first round pick.
14:20Yep. Turned out right. And I would like people to remember that now Christian McCaffrey is coming off of a season in
14:27which he touched the ball 413 total times. He also has a reliance on receiving work.
14:31There is no denying that he is going to be the engine of Kyle Shanahan's offense.
14:36I'm not saying that that's not true. I am just saying I don't think he is going to, especially when you note
14:42the efficiency he managed as a rusher last season going to rebound.
14:45So now we're, we're depreciating the overall value in terms of production a little bit more.
14:50And so I don't want to take a player that early if I don't believe that they will fully repay the ADP.
14:56And that is, that is where I'm at. Last year I did the same thing.
15:01We talked about it a lot. I told you after Saquon Barkley season and all the touches he had, I was more
15:07out than in on Saquon finishes RB 12 this season.
15:10Christian McCaffrey, I think you said 413 touches. That's in the regular season.
15:13All, all total. He had 450 touches last year.
15:16Sure. I know it's only one season, but he's 30 years old coming off the heaviest workload that he has ever had.
15:22And over his career, when you look back at similarly heavy touch workload seasons, more often than not, he doesn't repeat rather than he repeats.
15:29Well, that doesn't mean that he won't. Statistically speaking, most running backs don't.
15:33Right. Over the past two decades. That large sample size, I think that gives me that ability.
15:38So I feel like with that, there's too much risk at his ADP given the touch and the workload.
15:43Even though I was so in on Christian McCaffrey last year.
15:46That was I. This isn't last year. Okay. So because of that, I'm out.
15:50I have CMC all the way down at RB nine.
15:53I even sometimes float with him in the RB 10 spot.
15:56Wow. That is low, low, low, low right there.
15:59All right. So I'm going to quickly make the case for Christian McCaffrey, not just as my third running back on the board, but potentially RB one.
16:07Bring it. You guys have very valid points about what happened last year with Saquon and how he ended up being a
16:13bus relative to expectation and the 370 touch rule in general.
16:16I do think that Christian McCaffrey staying healthy for 17 games is that applies, I think, to almost every player like Christian McCaffrey has a slightly.
16:23He does have a longer injury rap sheet than B.
16:26John Robinson or Jameer Gibbs, but I also can't totally predict the future.
16:30Christian McCaffrey last year was an injury risk and he played every game.
16:34Yep. I think Christian McCaffrey has a more repeatable formula to his fantasy success because yes, it's crazy receiving production.
16:39I think he's also on the shortlist for the greatest receiving running back in the history of the NFL.
16:45This Niners offense is, is once again, banked up basically everywhere, but him and Kyle Shanahan has a Christian McCaffrey problem.
16:51I think is a good problem for us, right?
16:53He just can't help himself with CMC. So I'm in on Christian McCaffrey is not just RB three.
16:58He's the number three player on my board overall.
17:01All right. Number three on the player on not just running backs overall.
17:05I want to ask you this then. If we were to ask the people a question, yes, would you rather ask them?
17:11Would you rather have Jameer or John at one on one?
17:14Or do you think that CMC is a one on one candidate?
17:17Which question do you like more for the people?
17:20I'm curious if we could throw a poll up on the, just the two guys being on Jameer, just because it's been
17:26the most debated topic of the offseason in fantasy.
17:29So the poll will be available right now in the live stream or maybe on Twitter or both.
17:34Not entirely sure. But yes, it is a fun poll.
17:37We'll check back and maybe we'll come back halfway through.
17:40Would you rather have Bajon Robinson or Jameer Gibbs if you were picking at one dot oh one?
17:45All right. So that's going to round out tier one field.
17:48Let's go to tier two. Rockstar running backs. I believe.
17:51Yeah. Rockstar RB ones here. These are guys who deserve to go either in the first round or very close to it.
17:57RB four is the newly and handsomely paid Jonathan Taylor.
18:00Yep. I remain bullish on Devon H and James Cook is RB six for me.
18:04Derek Henry RB seven. So I'm optimistic there. Chase Brown, RB eight chase Brown, by the way, also extension eligible.
18:10And then Kenneth Walker, the third is number nine overall for me.
18:13I expressed some optimism about him on Monday show.
18:16We can revisit that right now, but let's start with JT Liz.
18:19I think you have some thoughts on JT's value positively or negative.
18:23Negatively. It is a workload conversation again. I know we agree on a lot though.
18:27Fields, we agreed on Bajon. This is part of the discourse.
18:30So I have personally gone over and I've done this.
18:33I didn't source it out. Right. I very nerdily, very excitedly on my sofa, went through the past two decades and looked
18:39at every single running back who cleared 300 carries in back to back seasons.
18:43There have been a total of 15 running backs over the past two decades who have done that.
18:48Okay. Jonathan Taylor and Derek Henry, who we'll talk about a little bit later, are the only to have done it over the past two years.
18:56Okay. So, but of those 15, 13, the 13 remaining, just six have reached a thousand rushing yards in the following year.
19:02And only four of those 13 played every game the next season.
19:05Those were LT, Chris Johnson, Michael Turner, and Marshawn Lynch.
19:08Numbers aren't leaning in JT's favor. Last season, he touched the ball 369 times.
19:12So he was just one touch away from the rule of 370.
19:16I understand he just got paid. I am worried about the workload.
19:19Well, wait, there's more. Oh, great. If we talk about his production with Daniel Jones on the field versus without Daniel Jones
19:25on the field, there is a vast difference as this graph shows you.
19:29So in terms of fantasy points per game, nearly 25 per game with Daniel Jones under center, less than 13 otherwise.
19:35So when we have a quarterback coming off of an Achilles injury, I'm a little bit more worried about the efficiency here for Taylor.
19:42There's no disputing again that he's going to be the centerpiece of this offense and that there will be volume.
19:48I am just worried about his ability to handle said volume.
19:51I'm not going to lie. I read that graphic top to bottom.
19:54Me too. And the first two, I was like, these look the exact same to me.
19:59The first two categories were very close. And then we got to the bottom line and I was like, I now understand
20:05that was his point, which illustrated what she described, the discrepancy in points per game.
20:09I'm more optimistic. Sure. The workload. Maybe I'm just a stick.
20:12I'm just not afraid of guys who run the ball a ton year in and year out.
20:17Do you have, so how, where does he rank for you?
20:20Jonathan Taylor? I believe I, I mean, I still have him inside my top 10 because of the volume.
20:26I do have him fourth. Okay. So fourth. So still fourth.
20:29All right. So, so far Daniel has a CMC all the way down at RB nine.
20:33Who is your RB three? My RB three is James cook.
20:36James cook. Oh, okay. That's interesting there. So is that, I mean, I have his RB six, but so I'm with you
20:43there, but CMC, your concerns, you've already stated them.
20:45James cook, I think it's kind of an obvious positive candidate there.
20:49Yep. Um, but we all weren't like, we were, do you have JT?
20:52Are we? R three. So I'm in on JT.
20:55Although I understand the concerns. We're still all in the same zip code, which is.
20:59I also think it's just important to stipulate these things to an audience, right?
21:03Like people listening shouldn't just automatically think, I don't expect anybody to do the sort of research that we're doing.
21:09Right. So sure. Presenting the case and allowing people to decide for themselves is important.
21:13And having differing points of view or differing, um, buckets of information, I think just helps people feel more confident when they
21:19either do or do not make a choice. How it could go right.
21:23How it might go wrong. We're banking on how it might go right for the most part.
21:28Um, I think a really interesting candidate, because I think a lot of people have spelled out how it could go wrong is Devon H.
21:35Ann who I have landed on two important things.
21:38Yes. He has a more mobile quarterback. I still think the passing volume is going to be good enough.
21:43It may not be as good from when you're playing with Tua and Quinn Ewers and quarterbacks like that, who are not elite scramblers like Malik Willis is.
21:51I also think Devon H. Ann's just flat. Awesome.
21:54As a player, it's kind of a talent hedge for me.
21:57So I still have him as RB five. Oh, I was thinking I was way different than you guys.
22:02Cause I've seen a lot of detractors on Devon H.
22:05And right. There are people that are concerned about the offense and being terrible.
22:09And yes, all the Gordon buzz. Is seems like all of us are still believers in Devon H.
22:14I moved him down one more. I actually have my RB seven.
22:18I just did that this morning, but I, I do have concerns.
22:21All the concerns that we just laid out. Do I think he's going to have more passing game work, more targets under
22:27Malik Willis than he did with Tua? Like probably not.
22:30Definitely not. Right. Do I think that he's going to see more stacked boxes this year than he saw last year, given
22:36the way the offense is going to be? Maybe I think that's a, that's at least a possibility.
22:41The good news is though, like you said, Malik Willis should be able to learn how to throw the ball at or behind the line of scrimmage.
22:49Cause it's not very far. Malik Willis doesn't have to throw the ball far to get the ball to Devon H.
22:55And so that should be a thing that he can learn how to do.
22:59So the stack boxes issue, I think is one we hear a lot.
23:03I wanted to find out the numbers on it.
23:05And last season already 23% of HN's total carries were against a loaded fronts.
23:09Wow. So already 23%. Maybe that goes up to 25%.
23:12Do you know where that ranks? 23%? I did at one point.
23:16It was, I think about ninth. I wonder if Kevin Pulse is from the top.
23:20So it's somewhere in the, like it's already quite high number.
23:23And his efficiency, we know last season and his breakaway runs were certainly high at the position.
23:28So if he's already beating it and let's say that number goes up, let's say a quarter of his carries are against a loaded box.
23:35Yeah. I mean, he's pretty good, right? I don't think he's going to be as efficient.
23:40I don't think he's going to get the passing game work.
23:43But I also don't think when you have seen him succeed in underwhelming offenses like last season, he can't be placed inside the top five.
23:50I don't think any of us are out necessarily on Devon A.
23:53Chan. But would you guys agree with me that he has the biggest bust potential of this tier?
23:58Or is there another running back you think has bigger bust potential?
24:02I think he has the biggest bunch potential. So a bust potential of this tier?
24:06Yes. I would agree on that. But I still really like, I think that chances are low.
24:11It's a talent bet. It's a pure talent bet.
24:13I'm with you on that. I'm a talent bet there for sure.
24:17Talking about James Cook. Liz has him at RB3.
24:19I have him as RB6. You have him somewhere in there.
24:23Somewhere in the top five. Yeah. I mean, with James Cook, it's like really, really good player.
24:27Plays behind the lead offensive line. That offense is going to support a ton of points.
24:32Derrick Henry is one that I've already expressed throughout the week that I'm more optimistic on.
24:36I think it was yesterday. I was talking about how I think the Ravens are going to be good.
24:42They're rejuvenated. Derrick Henry is the one running back who, no matter what the historical numbers tell you about guys and having
24:48the same level of success with huge workloads year over year over year, he's the outlier.
24:53He is built literally different than almost any running back of this era.
24:56I'm big time in on Derrick Henry, and I'm seeing him slide way lower than RB7.
25:01You guys both have him as RB11. So a notable discrepancy at this high on the board.
25:06I see him as a low end RB1. If you decide to go with maybe a wide receiver, two wide receivers first,
25:12or ideally, if I could get him as an like a high end RB2, that's where I would rather have eventually, even
25:18though I love Derrick Henry, you talk about the body and all the things like age is still undefeated.
25:24And so sooner or later, you start to see a fall off.
25:27We haven't seen, I mean, Derrick Henry is the outlier when it comes to fantasy's greatest anomaly.
25:32Literally. Yes. So I'm with you on that. But there's a reason why I have him at the tail end of that first round because of that.
25:40It's just sooner or later, it's going to happen.
25:42Entering his age 32 season, which I think is what you're alluding to in 2024.
25:47No. In 2024, he recorded 325 carries plus 19 receptions.
25:49We know he's going to probably have fewer than 20 catches, right?
25:53Like that's going to be right around. That's a good over under.
25:56Yep. Yep. And then last year, 307 carries. So again, cleared 300 carries in back-to-back seasons, 15 receptions last season.
26:02Efficiency was still down a little bit, but still over five yards per carry.
26:06So fantastic. Again, I'm less worried about Derrick Henry because he has proven his metal time and time again.
26:11Low end RB1 for me because of the durability and age concerns.
26:15But it's just, it's an asterisk. It's not a deal breaker.
26:18I'm a big Derrick Henry guy. You got a big, you got Chase Brown, excuse me, after that.
26:23And I want to ask you about Chase Brown.
26:26Last year, the question was. That was your guy last year.
26:29It was. Never wrong. Only early. Two years ago, he was running back 12.
26:33And the question was, can he repeat? Sure. And the beginning of the season gave you some scares.
26:38Yeah, it was bad. Joe Burrow got hurt. And that entire Bengals offense was tough, obviously, for a couple of weeks, right?
26:44But then you look at week eight on, and Chase Brown looked like the guy that I felt like I was touting all offseason.
26:51Take a look at this game, though. For those listening at home, week eight on, here's what he did.
26:56Please. RB5, RB6, RB12, RB13, RB10, RB6, RB13, RB1, RB3, and RB7.
27:00From week eight on, he did not have a single game under 15 fantasy points or lower than running back 13.
27:06Yeah. What's changed? I will tell you what's changed.
27:08Tell me. There's one important thing that's changed. Okay.
27:11The Bengals defense is now respectable. Oh, is it?
27:13I believe it's respectable. Yeah. I mean, they spent huge this offseason.
27:17And I think, well, I just think that them being respectable.
27:20Remember last year? I mean, it was like every week.
27:23Joe Flack, I guess Caleb Williams has like the biggest game in the history of Bears franchise or Bears franchise history.
27:29And then it's like guys who are not premium players are throwing for like 250 against the Bengals every week.
27:34It was like monster game after monster game after monster game.
27:38They played shootouts every week. Yep. That would be sort of the downside case against Chase Brown.
27:42But I have him as RB8. So I think that Bengals defense will be better, but not better enough that Chase Brown
27:49is still not going to see requisite passing game usage.
27:52And even if it's just average efficiency as a runner, I think that's plenty good enough to be a top 10 back.
27:58So as a great point from week eight on eight through the end of the season, he averaged 21.2 fantasy points per game.
28:04Huge. RB3. Okay. So we're not expecting RB3, a little bit of regression.
28:08What's a little bit of regression from RB3? Like still maybe a six or eight RB8, RB10.
28:13Right. That's where we're at. I think this is Chase Brown season again.
28:17Well, I think a lot of people are also worried about Joe Burrow's health.
28:21That's become a recurrent anxiety for understandable reasons. When you look though at what Brown was able to do with and without
28:27Joe Burrow on the field, it's not that there's not that big of a gap with Burrow on the field.
28:33He averaged 19.4 fantasy points per game. Most of that was due to touchdowns though.
28:37I'll get there in a second. Yeah. Without Joe Burrow, 14.1 fantasy points per game.
28:41So we're looking at what? Like RB6 range versus RB14 range.
28:44Got it. Scrimmage touchdowns with Burrow, nine without two.
28:47Yeah. So we don't chase touchdowns. We chase volume.
28:49So rushing efficiency increases. If the defense gets better, passing game work goes down a little bit.
28:54Still a top 10. Back-to-back seasons of 11 touchdowns.
28:57And I am in on this offense. I understand you think the defense is going to be better.
29:02I think maybe more serviceable is the term I would use, but I don't think that they're going to be so good
29:08that I'm worried that it's going to impact Chase Brown's value.
29:11But hear it. And we've talked about Ken Walker III a little bit, but do you have any thoughts on him now that he's officially in Kansas City?
29:19Big contract. Really talented runner. The Chiefs desperately in explosive plays.
29:22He's going to have a passing game role. And there is very little competition for work there.
29:27Emmitt Johnson, their fifth round pick. Again, fifth round pick is the competition.
29:31Like, I know running backs have a history of finding their way to success from less likely places.
29:36But a fifth round pick is not enough for me to be deterred off of Ken Walker having a monster, monster role.
29:42Not with Ken. If Ken Walker wasn't there and maybe it was still Isaiah Pacheco, we'd be having the, oh, I wonder
29:49if this is a guy that could overtake here in the backfield.
29:52Yeah. You don't do that when you sign the Super Bowl MVP to a deal to be your lead back.
29:58And you need him. Yes, absolutely. It's a clear and obvious need, which means he'll be utilized to fill that hole.
30:04I like Ken Walker III a lot. All right, let's move on.
30:07What's your next tier here, Field Jates? Tier three.
30:10More running back ones, you say? Okay. Yes, I do say that.
30:13Let's get through some of the names that you need to know here.
30:17Josh Jacobs, Saquon Barkley, Ashton Gentty, Omarion Hampton, and Jeremiah Love.
30:20Hold on. Hold on, Field Jates. In classic Matthew Barry fashion, you've got 14 running backs as RB1s.
30:25And I just want to talk about. Yeah, the math isn't math anymore.
30:29Math doesn't math there. It sort of is, right?
30:31It's like, if you leave the draft with Ashton Gentty as the first running back you take, in my opinion, I'm the
30:37one that has him outside the top 10, that would not feel like a hollow spot.
30:42Okay. You know, you get further down the list.
30:45You're pretty solid on the spot. If you're like, wow, like my first running back taken was Jadarian Price or Kenny Gainwell,
30:51I'd be like, all right, I really need things to break right elsewhere.
30:55But I think 14 players have top, call it eight upside.
30:58Okay. So that's why that's how I landed on that number right there.
31:01I think the order here is probably more interesting.
31:04I think that really from Derrick Henry, number seven for me, down to Jeremiah Love, number 14 for me, people are going
31:10to have some issues with the rankings overall here.
31:13There are people that say, no, I'm in on Ashton Gentty and Jeremiah Love.
31:17I don't think Jeremiah Love is going to last till RB 14 in any of my drafts.
31:22I know I'm low on him. It's a shiny object.
31:24It's the very talented player. My concerns on Jeremiah Love are A, it's a bad situation.
31:29B, he's got legit competition for work in that backfield.
31:32Tyler Algier is going to be a thing. They gave him real money.
31:36James Conner still on the roster. We'll see whether that remains the case by the time we get to the season.
31:42And I have a little bit of scar tissue from Ashton Gentty last year is that no matter how great the player
31:48is, if you're getting tackled or at least hit behind the line of scrimmage on two out of three carries, it's hard to be Superman.
31:55It just is. So I'm a little less optimistic on Jeremiah Love than some.
31:59This is a little less optimism on Amar and Hampton and Ashton Gentty, but still enough optimism that I'm telling you, I
32:05think the top eight is within play for them.
32:08I would like to hear Field give Josh Jacobs a little bit of love because I think he's a player we, again, didn't mention.
32:15To me, he is like the John Turturro of the NFL, right?
32:18Like not. Wow. I love that. I love John Turturro.
32:21You know who John Turturro is. Oh, brother, we're out there.
32:24Character actor. See, this proves my point, though, because he's not flashy, but he is critical to every single film that he is in.
32:31You are. John Turturro. Turturro. He's so good. He's such a good actor.
32:35The reason that the comp, though, is in every movie, he is critical to the narrative.
32:39The fact that Field looked at his face and still doesn't know what movies he is, that makes me a little nervous.
32:45Yeah. We didn't even mention Josh Jacobs. We're talking about Ashton Gentty.
32:49We're talking about O'Marion Hampton. I got nothing. And yet, this is the Packers guy.
32:53You haven't seen Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? That's unreal.
32:56I have. I got to be honest with you.
32:58I suck at this game. I'm so bad. What is Kyle Sobby sitting in between us, right?
33:03My goodness. I really thought that that one was.
33:06I had a couple of other options. I was like, they're both going to know him.
33:10Sure. That was not. Not a big Bluegrass fan field.
33:13No. I think of Bluegrass and I think of Boise State's football field.
33:17That's what I think of when you say Bluegrass.
33:19Wow. Well done. Well, I play Banjo now. Did you know that?
33:23There you go. Thank you. Christina, our producer, and I are in lockstep here, so I don't feel as bad.
33:29Can I ask a serious question to talk about Josh Jacobs?
33:32Because there's a serious matter surrounding him. There is.
33:34Is there any concern about that from this offseason?
33:37Yes. I mean, legitimately, there is a serious concern.
33:39That's one where it's, I don't have enough information that I'm already moving Josh Jacobs down.
33:44Okay. And if Josh Jacobs is going to be punished for these very scary allegations involving him this offseason, it's going to
33:50be such a significant punishment that I'm not going to move him down from nine to 12.
33:55It's going to be like nine to like 39, right?
33:58Or nine to not drafted. Right. Um, the Packers actions have suggested he is going to be available for them.
34:04Right. I mean, they have not done anything to prepare otherwise.
34:07And he is like, I just said, essential to this offense.
34:10Yes. So you should know the name Marshawn Lloyd, I would say.
34:13Now, we're talking about durability. Two years ago. Yeah.
34:16Third round pick out of USC. Yes. I mean, he is rarely available.
34:20I mean, rarely, rarely available. So, um, but for now I'm ranking Josh Jacobs as if he is going to be playing.
34:26Okay. Then I'm, I am prepared to adjust accordingly, but when he does play, you said steady, John Tutoro.
34:31John Turturro. Tutoro. Yes. Steady. He is John Turturro.
34:34I'm taking you at your, at your word on that.
34:37Yes. Um, we've talked, you want to hear out with Mario and Hampton stuff.
34:41Cause I know you're, you're the optimist here on Onhampton.
34:43I'm the highest. Yeah. I love. So we have an interesting like CMC versus Omari and Hampton.
34:48I don't know. Like that's might be too, I mean, I don't know.
34:52That's actually a pretty good bet. You want to do it?
34:55Yeah, sure. Why not? First board bet of 2026.
34:58Are you ready? Let's do it. Um, so let's just make the bet and we'll throw caveats in there.
35:03Okay. The fact, like, do we need to put like number of games and all that?
35:08We can do that at the end, but, but we know the, we know the spirit of the bet.
35:13Let's go. You know, they have to play rather than saying they have to play at least 10 games.
35:18Why don't we say if they play within two total games of each other?
35:22Perfect. Right. Like if CMC plays six and Hampton plays seven, it's still a valid bet.
35:27Yes. And Hampton plays four doesn't really matter. Okay.
35:30Deal. Deal. Sweet. Okay. I say Christian McCaffrey outscores Amari and Hampton in 2026.
35:34And I say Amari and Hampton outscores Christian McCaffrey in 2026.
35:37Put it on the board. I love it. We don't have a sounder for that, but yeah, you're optimistic.
35:42Yeah, I am. All right. So here's the reason why five of his nine games last year, he was a top 20 running back five of nine.
35:50So over half of him as a rookie still learning the offense without both of the bookend tackles, by the way, who
35:56are back this year, which we really like. Three of those games, he was a top 10 running back.
36:01So a third of his games, he was an RB1 as a rookie.
36:05He showed great pass catching ability. Four of those nine games, he had five or more catches.
36:10And now he has Mike McDaniel coming over who loves to be able to get the running back involved in the passing game.
36:17He's going to be all there for the goal line work.
36:20And Keaton Mitchell didn't even get as much money as Chris Rodriguez.
36:23How valuable can that guy be? That dramatic pause there.
36:26Excellently executed. What are we going with that one?
36:29Yeah. Mike McDaniel also, just because it is fun to add a little bit of coach speak, you can take what you want out of it.
36:36Did say, I believe this past Wednesday, Hampton has shown the most growth of any player currently in practice.
36:41McDaniel should unlock Omari and Hampton in fantasy this year, in my estimation.
36:45Based off of a quick Google research, Keaton Mitchell's salary for the Chargers this year is equivalent to John Turturro's No Brother Were Out There.
36:52Definitely not. Which was good enough to win him.
36:55An Emmy, you said? It was a movie, my friend.
36:58It was a movie by the Coen brothers. Emmys are for TV.
37:01We would like one of those. Oh, yeah. We want an Emmys.
37:04We want one of them. I mean, if you want an Oscar, you got to start watching some movies.
37:10I love that. Are we? I watched Utopia 2 four times.
37:13I'll bet. Soundtrack is, that soundtrack slaps. Life insurance is one of those things that's easy to put off because it doesn't feel urgent today.

39:01You talked about it in relation to Jeremiah Love, but we're still on Ashton Gentty as an RB1 this year.
39:07I'm interested. I mean, I'm invested in Ashton Gentty.
39:09I'm not ready to go as high as others are because I think this offense is better.
39:14I don't think it's fully solved. Okay. And I want to say this name now, store it away.
39:19We'll talk about it more when we talk about insurance running backs.
39:22Mike Washington, rookie out of Arkansas, who's going to be a little bit of a factor there.
39:27I think Clint Kubiak, who did not draft Ashton Gentty, has made it clear.
39:31He ain't playing 90% of the snaps. I agree.
39:34And 70 might still be good. I'm just a little less optimistic on Ashton Gentty.
39:38Okay. All right. I love that. We're going to dive into the mailbag here a little bit, my friends, and see what we bring to the table.
39:46First question comes from Yamara, wants to know, is round two too much of a reach for Chase Brown?
39:51I do not believe so. Chase Brown actually coming off the board, ADP around 25.
39:56So you're actually able to get him in the third round if you want.
39:59I'm with you. Yeah, round two looks good to me.
40:02Fine with me. I'm able to back into the second round.
40:05Not a problem for me. So I'm good on Chase Brown there.
40:09All righty. Another question here from our chat. This one comes from Terry McCulley.
40:13Is that a referee in the... It was Terry McCulley?
40:16Oh, there you go. Very close. There you go.
40:18All right. But Terry McCulley, as I understand it, one of our most active chatters.
40:23Shout out to you, Terry. Jadarian Price worth the hype in Seattle?
40:26Yes. We'll talk about him in just a few more minutes.
40:29Worth the hype, but to a point. We'll talk about one very important stat that you and I may disagree on.
40:35Okay. All right. I'm very interested in figuring that out.
40:38All right. We got one more then. One more question here from our chat.
40:42This one comes from Gavin Hardy. He wants to know, do I go Hall or Javante as my RB2 if Walker is gone?
40:48Brees Hall or Javante Williams? Oh, well, we have a poll reveal, right?
40:52Right, Christina, because if we don't, then I'll take it right into tier four.
40:56This is amazing. So Christina just told us. Our producer, Christina, said Jameer Gibbs has 53% of the vote.
41:02Bijan Robinson, 47% of the vote. It's kind of perfect, though, because it makes the point.
41:06It's 53-47, but it could have been the other way very easily.
41:10It's very close. Yeah. So it's hard to decipher between these two players at the top.
41:14What I do notice is Christian McCaffrey got 0% of the vote there.
41:18Well, well, well, well. Are we going to answer the question about Brees Hall versus Christian McCaffrey?
41:23Yes. Well, yeah, we do. Yes. How about this?
41:25I just don't want this poor guy not to get into tier four.
41:29Liz just got so nervous for a second. I have an idea, though.
41:33Let's get into tier four because my answer will be served at the very top.
41:37Please don't ignore this fellow. Tier four is darn good RB2s.
41:40Okay. And my list of tier four running backs.
41:43I love this title. I know, right? I love the title.
41:46I know I worked hard on them. Running back 15, Javante Williams.
41:49Okay. Running back 16, Brees Hall. Wow. In lockstep, that question asker is very much thinking the same way I am, how close these two guys are.
41:57Kyron Williams, Travis Achan, and Cam Scadaboo at number running back 19, all in my tier four.
42:02It's really close. I think Javante Williams obviously has a better infrastructure around him than Brees.
42:06Brees plays on what could be a very dismal offense.
42:09Javante plays on what should be one of the best offenses in the NFL once again.
42:14Both teams actually have a good offensive line. The Jets, the strength of their team could well be their offensive line, but
42:20we have seen that Brees Hall has been undone.
42:22There are games in which the Jets are getting waxed by 24 points at halftime, and he can't be as efficient as
42:29a runner because he's not running the football at all in the second half.
42:33So I split the difference by going with Javante and the better offense.
42:36But Liz, where do you land on that one?
42:39I have them back to back as well. I do have Brees just ahead of Javante Williams.
42:44I will say I was very high on Javante Williams last season.
42:47I think I'm probably being a tad resentful because I don't want to pay the full price this year after getting him successfully at a discount last year.
42:55If I'm being like a totally honest about it, I do love a player though that bets on himself and wins.
43:01And he, I think it's worth mentioning, also got paid.
43:04He got an extension. So that's something. Hall got some money as well.
43:08Javante Williams, just not as much receiving upside. And I think that's the other deal, the other hair that I'm splitting between the two.
43:15So Liz is going with the passing game upside.
43:17I'm going with the better offense and the touchdown upside.
43:20Daniel, what are you doing? So, or how close is it?
43:23It's really close because I did take Brees Hall.
43:26I like Brees Hall. Like, I think he has a chance to be much better in this year's version of this offense with an improved offensive line.
43:33Ideally, much improved quarterback play with Geno Smith, just having a serviceable offense.
43:37But given that offense, given what I believe will be better touchdown equity because of that offense.
43:42And there's a chance that if which one of these teams is potentially going to be blowing a team out and you're
43:48just salting out the clock at the end, it's probably not going to be the New York Jets.
43:53That gives Javante Williams a little bit more bump for me.
43:56So I got Javante right above Brees Hall. Can I ask a question about Brees Hall?
44:01Yes. Because I don't think he scored more than five rushing touchdowns since entering the league, which seems criminal.
44:06I mean, that proves Field's point. But this year we are expecting and hoping for a bit of a bump, right?
44:12So Field and Daniel over under seven and a half rushing scores for Brees Hall.
44:17Under. I'll tell you why. Okay. How many red zone touches do you think Brees Hall has in his career?
44:22Oh, I don't like that. You already had the stat off the hip.
44:26Red zone touches, which is not the same as goal line.
44:29So D. Okay. Yep. Inside the 20, which gives you a shot to score.
44:33I'm going to say he's got. He's been around the NFL for four years.
44:37Four years. Yep. 38. Oh, I was going to go a little higher than that.
44:41Oh, much higher than that. Yeah. I was going to say like 60.
44:4591's the answer. Okay. However, Christian McCaffrey just last season had 91.
44:48Oh my God. So to give you the, like, I think that, you know, I believe Christian McCaffrey is a better player.
44:55Yeah. I would also tell you though, that there's a value in being in a good offense.
45:00Yes. That was illustrated very clearly between those two players and red zone touches.
45:04Okay. All right. Fine. I guess you're not buying into the Jaden Blue hype.
45:08Let's go. Let's move on. There we go. All right.
45:10Yeah. No drum beat for you. Yeah. Next up in this tier.
45:14Yeah. And are you guys worried at all about Kame Scataboo in this tier?
45:18Do you? I love him. I mean, he's a living, breathing Kool-Aid man.
45:22Oh yeah. Like give it to me. I don't, I don't.
45:25Living. He is. I love it. I love the brevity.
45:27I love the price. Like I love the upside.
45:30I mean, what, before he got hurt, he averaged 19.1 fantasy points per game.
45:34Is he going to see as much receiving work?
45:37If Malik Neighbors is as healthy as we are hoping and expecting him to be?
45:41Nah. But what a ride. And as my RB2 here, fine.
45:44As an RB2, I am also fine. I do have more nervousness just around the, the best ability is availability.
45:50Yeah. Right. And he's shown the thing about him.
45:52It's not like even just like the immaturity, the backflip, all that stuff.
45:56Forget it. I mean, I get it. That happens, but people can grow up.
46:00The thing that makes me a little bit nervous is that he just loves contact.
46:04He does. He is an old school football player.
46:07And that is one of the things legitimately that does give me a little bit more pause because he will never shy away from that.
46:14This isn't a dynasty conversation. You're right. Yes. That's my thing is that I'm more concerned about the long-term viability of Kim Scadaboo.
46:20We're thinking about 2026 and I am optimistic. Well, you didn't even make it through last season.
46:25So I have a little bit of concern. Why?
46:28That's fair. But, but that was a nasty, like that was a, it wasn't like the dings and the bruises.
46:34You're right. It was the, holy crap, his ankles go in the wrong direction.
46:38Also say a player with that kind of mentality who does invite, invite contact, an injury like that is not going to stop him, halt him.
46:45Like this guy. The dude's backflipping on stages, as Daniel said.
46:48And by the way, he was one of the big sneaky winners of the off season, because I think if Jeremiah Love
46:54got to number five, he might be a New York giant.
46:57Yeah. They are. And that offense, if Malik neighbors is healthy, should give him again, even more opportunities to find the end zone.
47:04Sure. Right. So, all right, let's talk tier five field Yates.
47:07Yeah. And these guys are starting to blend in a little bit more, but tier five running backs.
47:12I call you guys RB twos, just solid RB twos.
47:15Let's begin with Quinn Sean Judkins for the Cleveland Browns.
47:18Bucky Irving. We kind of get into wildcard territory here, too.
47:21Basial Tootin. Tuba Hubbard. DeAndre Swift. Jadarian Price. David Montgomery.
47:24Who am I too low on? Who am I too high on?
47:27Daniel, you go first. Those bottom two, I think you're too low on.
47:31Too low. I'll talk about Jadarian Price. Hey, what do you think?
47:34But I am very much in on him. I just feel like Jadarian Price, with the way that this Seahawks offense should
47:41operate this year, still a lot of question marks around when Zach Charbonnet is going to come back, they were the third
47:47run heaviest team in the NFL last year. This team knows what we know.
47:51Sam Darnold's a good quarterback, but the path of success is not him throwing the ball 50 times a game.
47:57They want to run the ball. They had the fourth most goal to go opportunities, and there's no Zach Charbonnet, and you
48:03know Sam Darnold's not going to be the one sneaking it in.
48:06So Jadarian Price is in a great spot if this offense can keep doing stuff to become the clear cut guy that
48:13even when Zach Charbonnet comes back, he could have that zhuzh, as my friend Liz says, to just not relinquish the job.
48:19Right now I have him as a running back two, a legitimate running back two, I have him as running back 19.
48:25The schedule also allows himself, because of its ease, to establish himself early.
48:29Now again, they open, Seattle opens the season against the Patriots, so that's not great.
48:33But the next two games, Cardinals and Commanders, those are two teams that fielded bottom 10 run defenses last year.
48:39So if Price, assuming that even if Charbonnet, let's just, let's say Charbonnet's back, but we know that he's got to shake
48:45off some rust, or that he's going to be eased back in.
48:48After that game against the Patriots, if Price can establish himself and smash against two bottom 10 defenses, fielded, what are you doing?
48:55Smash. I just smashed a microphone. Believe me. That was a gavel pound for Price early in the season.
49:00So if he can do that early in the season, then I think we can take off in a really nice way
49:07and maybe fend off the Charbonnet eventuality of the situation.
49:10He is my favorite. And out of this tier that you have, he is my favorite running back in this group because
49:16I think he has the best chance based on what that offense can be and his role, that clear role to RB1 possibilities in this tier.
49:23He's my favorite running back. Let me give you the two hesitations of why he's lower.
49:28Bring it. One is, and I mentioned this stat a few days ago, six catches during his last season at Notre Dame for Jadarion Price.
49:35Now he was sharing time with Jeremiah Love. Can you blame Notre Dame for targeting the unbelievable running back versus the very good running back?
49:42The answer is you can't blame them for that.
49:45The second part is, yes, it's the same system largely in Seattle, but it's a play caller that I know zero about.
49:51And Brian Fleury, he was hired as a from the Niners as there, he was previously their tight ends coach.
49:57I thought they were going to go internal. They interviewed like every offensive staff member and then hired externally did Seattle.
50:03I don't know what his preference is, but if last year is any indication, it is going to be a little bit of everybody gets to eat.
50:10So I'm a little lower than Daniel. I hear you.
50:13But this tier is tricky. That offensive coordinator in Seattle is very good friends with me.
50:18I mean, we're basically brothers. And I think that he's given me the feel that we're going to be okay with Jadarion Price on this one.
50:25Yeah. So I go and fish in together. We we we should.
50:28TJ Hawkinson and Brian Fleury. Yes. Never been spotted in the same place.
50:32If if I shaved my head, I would look like Brian Fleury.
50:36And if he put on a wig, he would look like me.
50:39So like where that's just go check out the photos.
50:42Mina Kimes tweeted it yesterday. So go check out.
50:44Oh, really? Yes. Oh, crap. It was it was very funny.
50:47So I love it. All right. Let's keep moving on, though.
50:51Who do you have? Oh, actually, we're going to throw it up.
50:54Yeah. Congrats. This was her feed. So it was me tweeting out a video.
50:58And then right above that was the quarterback or the OC.
51:01That's amazing. You know, good looking men. Just no just no beard care.
51:05What do I have to say about that? Would you ever cut your hair, though?
51:09Yeah. You would cut your hair. I'm getting a haircut today.
51:12I'm not going to go all the way down.
51:15I'm getting a trim. I'm taking off the, you know, some of the loose ends and all that.
51:20Yeah. Yeah. No one's going to notice it because the hair is always pulled up.
51:24I want to see like a full. I'll come in as the guy who hasn't cut his hair in months.
51:30I'll put it down. I'll put it down tomorrow.
51:32I'll come in a hair down. We'll do that.
51:35We'll have a good time. Where do we leave off?
51:38Quinch on Judkins. We're flexing on them. Yeah. Flex on them.
51:41Okay. Let's do it. Here is tier six. But Tony Pollard, Ramondre Stevenson, Travion Henderson, Kenny Gainwell, Jalen Warren, Aaron Jones, and Rashad White.
51:48These are RBs 20 through 20. No, that's lower than that.
51:51These are guys who are, the numbers say RB 20 through 26 is actually a little bit lower than that.
51:57But bottom line, these are flex players for me.
51:59And I want to talk about the Patriots backfield.
52:02Please. Plenty of, I've seen it. I don't know that it's unanimous, but there are definitely people in the camp of Travion Henderson is ready for liftoff.
52:09And he's a clearly better performer than Ramondre Stevenson.
52:12And he had some monster games last year. He definitely did.
52:15And he's one of the fastest players in the NFL.
52:18Best ball. Love him. Yep. He's going to have a few absolutely dominant games where he rushes the ball 12 times and
52:24turns it into 145 yards and a touchdown or two.
52:27The guy's super talented. I'm just not convinced he's going to have a gigantic role like some people think.
52:33I think Ramondre Stevenson, it's going to be the starter.
52:35Yeah. I think Ramondre Stevenson's going to lead the Patriots in rushing attempts.
52:39I think he's going to lead the Patriots in total snaps played.
52:43I think he's going to be right there with Travion Henderson in terms of receptions as well.
52:47So I think Ramondre is way less exciting. And I don't think there's nearly as much weekly upside, but I think he's
52:54got too much of a role to have Travion ranked much higher than this.
52:58You guys more optimistic on Travion than me? I am not.
53:01Okay. I want to be. Yeah. I wish that I was.
53:04I think this kid clearly stands out as the most talented running back in this tier.
53:08And if anyone in this tier were to have a backfield to themselves, I think he was the one that we would
53:15be ranking the highest on a weekly basis. If it was Travion Henderson, for sure.
53:19The problem is all the things that you said.
53:22Yeah. He's going to have some games where he finally gets unlocked in the second half because they bench Ramondre Stevenson for fumbling twice in the first half.
53:29The sideline. And you know that he's going to have some big games.
53:33But Ramondre Stevenson is, they will not quit him.
53:36They just won't. Yeah. Period. And so because of that, I think if I'm gaslighting myself, if I tell myself that Travion
53:42Henderson is ready for liftoff, I don't think the Patriots are showing us that.
53:46You made an interesting point about the fumbles the other day.
53:49I think that that's also kind of stuck in people's.
53:52It's stuck in my head. Yeah. It bothered the Patriots less than it bothers us on the outside.
53:57Right? The last thing I would say too is maybe an obscure reference, but bear with me.
54:02Do you guys recall when Tony Pollard was starting to rise and Zeke Elliott was still with the Cowboys and not like,
54:08you know, totally washed, but also sort of hanging on, but not nearly his prime player.
54:13Yes. You're like, why do the Cowboys keep giving Zeke all the heavy workload and all the goal line opportunities when Tony
54:19Pollard comes in and he gets eight carries, he turns him into 84 yards and a touchdown.
54:24Why is he not playing every down? There could be some of that with this backup.
54:28I don't know that Ramondre Stevenson, he's never been at the level of Zeke, obviously.
54:33And we'll see what Travion Henderson's ultimate career trajectory is.
54:36But for now it's, we're going to see plays in which Travion Henderson electrifies a stadium and you're asking for more.
54:42And yet the next week, I still expect Ramondre Stevenson to be on the field when the Patriots have their first offensive snap.
54:48I think that is super fair. It's a rank of restraint, which I completely respect.
54:52I have one quick question before we move on to tier seven here, field gates.
54:57Rashad White. Yeah. Right now, JCM is, is listed air quotes listed as the RB one.
55:01Do you think there's a chance that Rashad White could push as like the RB one with every down work in this offense?
55:08I tell you, I think there's something to be said for Rashad White here in Washington.
55:12I just, it's a way better pass catcher. Bill, JCM, Ja'Cory Krosky-Meritt, also known as Bill.
55:17Love that. I just, you know, he's, he's got a very specific role.
55:21If you're optimistic on this offense and you think he can be Brian Robinson two years ago, where he scored all these
55:27rushing touchdowns from the goal line and in, then yes, maybe he can be a top 20-ish running back.
55:32I'm not as optimistic on this offense. Rashad White, like Jaden Daniels, spent time at Arizona State in college.
55:38I think there's a little bit of a familiarity and connection there.
55:41And White, obviously a very effective pass catcher, not a particularly efficient runner, but too much passing game volume for me to have him ranked lower than JCM.
55:49I was going to say, we don't have, we haven't talked about JCM.
55:53So you got Rashad White ranked ahead of him as of right now.
55:56Okay. All right. Let's move ahead. Tier seven, eight, nine field.
56:00We can rip through these. Yeah. These are deeper leak flexes starting in tier seven.
56:04Kyle Manunga, we've talked about him plenty. Love him.
56:06J.K. Dobbins, R.J. Harvey going back to back. Those guys kind of cannibalize the value of each other.
56:11Here we go. Dowdle, who has been trending up of late at Steelers camp, Blake Corum.
56:16And then Jonathan Brooks. Liz is one of her guys.
56:19Blake Corum is an example. Like these guys kind of need something to happen to the player in front of them for
56:25you to really actually want to have them in your lineup.
56:28Yes. Right. Like Blake Corum, it might have a couple of games this year where he gets 13 carries and turns it
56:35into 85 yards and a touchdown, but you're not going to know when that's going to happen.
56:39And he might also turn those 13 carries into 41 yards with zero targets in that game.
56:44These are important guys to have on your bench.
56:47If you were to ask me which of these players could overtake the starter as things currently look, I think there's a
56:53world in which Rico Dattle is the lead running back for the Steelers.
56:57I think there's a world in which Kyle Manunga plays a much healthier role for the Bears.
57:02But going into the season, there's too much of a roadblock to have these guys ranked higher.
57:06Agreed. But they are great values, I think, field.
57:09This tier seven is a really good value range if you want to grab some insurance running backs or guys that could
57:15outperform their ADP in the second half of the season or anything happens.
57:19Or wally pip the running back ahead of them.
57:22The guy ahead of them. Yep. I probably should put Jonathan Brooks in that category of guys that could leapfrog.
57:27I just, I'm a Chuba Hubbard believer that he is the guy to begin the season.
57:32Just, he does everything pretty well, Chuba. Okay. Not a lot of things off the charts good, but everything pretty well.
57:38All right. So these guys that we're talking about now are officially bench guys, guys that are just kind of like stash and holds to see what happens.
57:46I mean, guys, we're low here on the rankings.
57:48You know, like these are the kind of players where, yeah, I mean, here's, here's running back tier eight, which is valuable
57:55holds and valuable might be a little bit jealous.
57:57Todd J. Spears, Zach Charbonnet, Tyrone Tracy Jr., Jacory Krosky-Meritt, Jordan Mason, Tyler Algier, and my guy Keaton Mitchell.
58:03Right? Like these guys all, like these are like 16 team bi-week players in some cases.
58:07Great. We're looking at like the 14th, 15th round in terms of ADP when these players are coming off boards.
58:13So names to know for sure. A couple of these guys have more appeal than others.
58:17I will just say my Keaton Mitchell point is less about the standalone value that I anticipate for Keaton Mitchell, more about
58:24how I think he's enough of a thing that I'm lower on Amari and Hampton.
58:28So that's sort of the Keaton Mitchell of it all for me, but just names to know at tier eight.
58:34I like it. And tier nine hold just holds to have just in case Justice Hill, Woody Marks, Isaiah Pacheco, Samaje Pirine.
58:40Anything you want to say on Pacheco, Liz? I mean, Daniel has Pacheco points as well.
58:44I'll let the. Do you want to talk about it or do we tease facts versus feelings?
58:49Because we talked about Isaiah Pacheco. I got the notification for facts versus feelings.
58:53It's out right now. There was one. I didn't even know that.
58:57Look at that. I have my phone off. Yeah, I think I love Isaiah Pacheco because he's going to play that Monty role.
59:03David Montgomery had standalone value. And I do not believe I want to say that right away.
59:08I do not believe Isaiah Pacheco will have standalone value as a running back in this offense.
59:13Yeah. But I do believe that if Jameer Gibbs is not there, that he would take over that David Montgomery role who
59:19saw Monty have 15, 12 and eight touchdowns. That's what I'm looking for as an offense that can get a running back in the end zone.
59:27And if anything happened to Jameer Gibbs in the number two offense in the NFL, I think we should be talking about
59:33Isaiah Pacheco as a more valuable insurance running back than we are.
59:36Do you think Isaiah Pacheco will score more rushing touchdowns than Brees Hall?
59:40Seven and a half. He's under on. He's under.
59:42I do not. I'm saying no. I'm going to say, yeah.
59:46It's an interesting conversation. Well, that would be a heck of a plot twist.
59:50David Montgomery has done it all three years. Montgomery had eight rushing scores last season, RB12 in that category.
59:55And that was with reduced volume and dealing with injuries.
59:58But wouldn't it be wild if Pacheco and Hall both managed, let's say, eight rushing scores?
60:02That would be insane. I like it. All right.
60:05We got a couple of questions here towards the end of the show really quickly.
60:09Let's dive in. And a big shout out again to our buddy Eric Moody.
60:13Follow him on social media at Eric and Moody for all of the good stuff that you need.
60:18This one comes from Jordan Olson wants to know, AJ Brown or Rashi Rice, guys?
60:23Well, Jordan, they both cracked tier two for my wide receiver rankings yesterday.
60:26Available wherever you get your podcasts or on the QR code, which you can scan probably.
60:31Just go check the playlist. AJ Brown has, I believe, more upside than Rashi Rice.
60:35But Rashi Rice is the better bet for 100 catches this year.
60:39I have them. I have Rice ranked ahead of Brown.
60:41I do, too. I have Rice eight. I have Brown 10.
60:45But I think this also depends on your roster construction and what you want at this point.
60:49Agreed. With the way that your heart decides you want to go in.
60:53If you're OK with a little bit of risk, then Rashi Rice is a really great option.
60:58If you are like, I want to mitigate all risk as much as possible, AJ Brown is a fantastic shot for you.
61:04All right. A couple more questions here from our chat.
61:07This one comes from the big kid three. Do you like Roma Dune Day or Luther Burden?
61:12Oh, my goodness. You said that the question you get the most this offseason is who are you taking 1.01?
61:18The question Liz gets the most this offseason is which Bears wide receiver do you like more?
61:22I came from Chicago to here, so I got it a ton.
61:26My mom is retiring from the bench and every single person who came.
61:30I thought you were going to say your mom was asking you which one you're supposed to take.
61:35My mom has her. You probably has asked. My mom is a Rome believer.
61:39Okay. She loves her alphas, as do I. I will say I'm not going to answer and my answer is Colston Loveland
61:45and that is what I am sticking with. Okay.
61:47So my answer also Colston Loveland, but I have Roma Dune Day ranked ahead of Luther Burden III.
61:53I also have Roma Dune Day ranked ahead and I would also go with Colston Loveland if I was going to take a pass.
61:59Good answer is there. So I like it. I like it.
62:03All right. Another question that we have here from our chat.
62:06Thank you so much for hanging out with everybody in chat asking us these questions.
62:10Next one we have here. Stand by. This one comes from Terry again.
62:14Trim it all. I don't think so, Terry. Mama Dopp, who is in chat right now, would not be pleased.
62:19Oh, my gosh. Oh, that is so sweet. That's so funny.
62:22I did not even realize this was coming up.
62:25Also, I love a boo. We don't boo enough.
62:28Yeah. A boo is great. I love it. Shout out to Mama Dopp for hanging out in chat.
62:33Shout out to Mama Dopp. How's she feeling? Doing great.
62:36Doing great. Mama Dopp had a big surgery this off season, came back.
62:39She has now returned to performance, not just returned to play.
62:42So she's in a really good spot. You have to put her in your absolute legends tier.
62:47That's right. She would be. She is the person that I named that tier after.
62:51That. Oh, my gosh. Perfect way to close the show.
62:54Oh, my gosh. All right. We're coming back tomorrow.
62:57We're talking quarterbacks and tight end tiers. Field's going to bring it.
63:00Yeah, it's going to be a lot of fun again.
63:03And one last show with Liz Loza here in person.
63:06So make sure you come back. I'm going to work out with us.
63:10We're going to try. Hopefully we can keep Mike out of here.
