Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveBreakout3:00

Matthew Berry identifies Amon-Ra St. Brown's dominant performance against the Lions as the breakout game the fantasy community has been waiting for, validating his early draft status.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection11:10

Bryce Young is playing the best football of his career; gets the ball off quickly, enabling quick slants against nickel corners, and benefits from RPO game scheme similar to his Alabama playbook.

Insight page

Cam Ward

PositiveProjection36:06

Cam Ward is reaching a level of respectability where he can get the ball to elite talent like Carnell Tate. Matthew Berry notes this as a positive development for Ward's fantasy outlook, suggesting he's improving as a passer and decision-maker.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveBreakout36:06

Carnell Tate had a career game against Baltimore with a 43% target share, his third straight game with an above 25% target share. He's one of the best route runners in the class per Matthew Berry, and Cam Ward is reaching a level of respectability where he can get the ball to him. Tate's average depth of target is over 10 yards in three of four games played this season. The Titans are bad and will be down, meaning they'll be throwing a lot, creating volume for Tate.

Insight page
PositiveUsage36:57

Carnell Tate received a 43% target share against the Titans, his third straight game with above 25% target share; average depth of target over 10 yards in three of four games played this season. Matthew Berry notes Cam Ward is getting to a level of respectability to get the ball to this insanely talented wide receiver, and with the Titans bad and likely to be down, they will be throwing a lot.

Insight page
PositiveProjection37:52

Carnell Tate ranks second in air yards and fifth in target share among entire NFL; only other rookie wide receivers since 2016 to achieve this combination are Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Puka Nacua. He also ranks sixth in total targets. This elite company and usage profile support his legitimacy as a breakout candidate.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveProjection3:00

Matthew Berry highlights CeeDee Lamb as having a huge game in Week 4, contributing to the positive fantasy headlines from the weekend.

Insight page
PositiveProjection3:00

Huge game in Week 4 as the Cowboys rolled over the Texans defense.

Insight page
PositiveUsage6:26

Had a monster game in week 4; benefited from increased opportunity.

Insight page
NegativeProjection9:00

CeeDee Lamb was among the Week 4 scoring leaders at wide receiver, finishing second after McMillan.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveRole6:43

Bengals running back positioned to benefit from Jamar Chase's injury; next-man-up opportunity with increased offensive touches expected.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeInjury5:17

Left Week 4 game early.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeRole33:28

DeAndre Swift fumbled on the first drive of the third quarter in Week 4 and was benched by Ben Johnson (not injury-related). This is his second fumble of the season. While it's unclear if this is a permanent role change or a lesson, Kyle Menangai took over with 30 carries, signaling Swift's role is in jeopardy. The benching was a clear statement from the coaching staff.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

NegativeUsage22:02

After starting the season hot, Dalton Kincaid has seen a sharp drop in usage: just 9% target share in each of the last two weeks (down from 34.5 points in weeks one and two combined to four points combined in the last two games), and ran only 56% of routes. Matthew Berry expresses concern about the inconsistency but notes that Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady acknowledged in his presser that he needs to get Kincaid more involved, suggesting scheme adjustments may be coming.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury24:51

Devontae Smith did not play in Week 4 and is expected to miss multiple weeks with a hamstring injury that appears more serious than initially thought. Matthew Berry notes this further complicates the Eagles' receiving options and adds to the concern about starting any Eagles player beyond Hurts and Barkley.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveProjection55:52

Drake London averaged 10.4 targets, 6.9 receptions, and over 100 yards per game over the last 10 games with Michael Penix at quarterback; Matthew Berry recommends anytime touchdown as a best bet for Monday night.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection3:09

Bounced back in Week 4 after many fantasy managers benched him; went off just as he hit everyone's bench, rewarding those who didn't drop him.

Insight page
NegativeProjection18:36

Matthew Berry notes Drake May looked closer to his 2025 form in Week 4, showing three key improvements: better turnover management (54 rushing yards, using his legs more), increased confidence in the red zone (including a third-down fade to Chizarira), and a confidence boost from beating Buffalo's Josh Allen and the Bills in a fourth-quarter comeback. Berry emphasizes the win's significance as a three-game confidence boost given the division rival and Super Bowl contender context, and projects May will look even better as weapons return (A.J. Brown) and the offensive line improves.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveRole35:05

Emmanuel Wilson handled 24 of 32 Seahawks running back touches in Week 4, getting 100% of the team's red zone and goal line work. He's led the backfield in each of the past three games with Jadarian Price banged up and expected to miss time. Matthew Berry sees him as a lead running back on a good offense with a really good short-term opportunity against the Chargers this week, though he's uneasy long-term due to the crowded backfield (Charbonnet returning, Price returning eventually). He's more of a flex play based on matchup.

Insight page
PositiveValue54:48

Emmanuel Wilson should have been picked up last week in most competitive leagues but if still available, Matthew Berry lists him as the number one add for week five waiver wire. The Eagles are on a bye this week, but with uncertainty around Saquon Barkley's injury severity, Wilson is a priority add.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeMatchup47:27

Garrett Wilson had 27 yards on three catches against the Bears, but Matthew Berry attributes this to the Jets' defense allowing the run and poor time of possession; the Bears had 45+ minutes while the Jets had 17 minutes on offense. Gino Smith completed only eight passes total, limiting volume. Despite low numbers, Wilson still posted a 27% target share. Berry sees him as a buy-low candidate and remains optimistic long-term, noting this was just a bad day at the office.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeInjury5:10

Suffered concussion in Week 4 and entered concussion protocol; recovery timeline is nonlinear and unpredictable—could return this week or miss a month depending on severity.

Insight page
NegativeInjury5:38

In concussion protocol; nonlinear injury with uncertain timeline. Could return this week or miss up to a month; severity unknown. Bengals have week six bye, so if he misses one game, potentially back by week seven.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

NegativeInjury35:05

Jadarian Price is banged up and expected to miss some time, opening the door for Emmanuel Wilson to lead the Seahawks backfield in the short term. Price's injury timeline is unclear, but his absence has elevated Wilson's role significantly.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

NegativeDepth Chart6:48

Was inactive for the game, which opened opportunity for Ted O'Meara McMillan to have a career night.

Insight page
NegativeDepth Chart8:30

Jalen Coker was absent in Week 4, which contributed to McMillan's elevated target share and production against Detroit.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeProjection23:12

Matthew Berry expresses concern about Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense after a historically poor Week 4 performance: 93 passing yards (worst start to an Eagles season this century), 0-for-17 on third down dating back to the second half of last week, and Hurts averaging just 14 fantasy points per game over the last three weeks (QB 21). The Eagles face Jacksonville (technically in London) next week, a tough matchup. Berry notes that while Hurts and Saquon Barkley are likely still must-starts, there's concern about other Eagles players given the offensive struggles and potential injuries to Devontae Smith (hamstring, likely multiple weeks out).

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveProjection3:00

Huge game in Week 4 as the Cowboys rolled over the Texans defense.

Insight page
PositiveUsage6:26

Had a monster game in week 4; benefited from increased opportunity.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeRole44:23

Jeremiah Love, drafted third overall, played under 50% of snaps despite a close game where the Packers had a chance to win; he played five fewer snaps than Tyler Algier and only 11 snaps in the second half. LaFleur said the team used Algier more in two-minute offense for pass protection reasons. After the game, Love said it would be "the longest year of my career," a concerning comment for fantasy owners. Matthew Berry expects this to be reversed next week given the criticism, noting Love is a complete running back from college and should not be benched.

Insight page
NegativeProjection45:07

Matthew Berry downgraded Jeremiah Love from RB1 back to RB2 due to playing time concerns with Tyler Algier, though he still expects better days ahead. Love's post-game comment that "this is going to be the longest year of my career" signals frustration with his role despite being a complete running back from college.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeMatchup50:01

Josh Downs had 16 yards against the Commanders despite a great matchup and great air rating; he got so much separation and had a 95% route participation rate. Matthew Berry notes the Commanders defense actually played well and it all fell apart, and Daniel Jones did not play well. Ashton Doolin and Laquan Treadwell both got more targets. Berry still trusts Downs and expects better days, noting this was just a bad day at the office.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveProjection57:00

Juwan Johnson carries a 40% end zone target share for the Saints; the Falcons have allowed three touchdowns to opposing tight ends through three games; Matthew Berry recommends anytime touchdown as his best bet for Monday night, citing the matchup advantage.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveUsage55:18

Keaton Mitchell saw a season-high 15 touches in week four and continues to see his role grow. Matthew Berry notes that even though Omarion Hampton scored the touchdown late, Mitchell needs to be rostered in way more leagues as his role continues to expand.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveProjection31:31

Kenneth Walker is the second-best running back in fantasy football after four weeks, with at least 21 fantasy points in all four games. He's averaging almost 25 touches per game with a 16% target share (most important element per Berry), showing consistent week-to-week production. He has the highest percentage of carries in the NFL with 20+ yards. Matthew Berry notes he was significantly ahead of consensus on Walker in the preseason and calls him a potential Offensive Player of the Year candidate.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveValue55:12

Keon Coleman is one of two wide receivers (along with Trey Harris) who should see a big uptick in usage if DJ Moore and Ladd McConkie miss any time. Matthew Berry lists him as a waiver priority add for week five.

Insight page

Kyle Monangai

PositiveRole33:28

Kyle Menangai earned a bigger role after DeAndre Swift fumbled on the first drive of the third quarter and was benched (not injury-related per Ben Johnson). Menangai received 30 carries in Week 4, showing his physical running style. While he may not get 30 carries again, he's likely to secure red zone carries due to his physicality. He's had at least 12 touches in three of four games this year and has 681 college and NFL carries with zero fumbles. He left Week 4 with a thumb injury that bears monitoring.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveRole26:05

Kyron Williams is separating himself in the Rams backfield, playing 76% of snaps over the last two weeks and out-touching Blake Corum 47-14. He ranks second in utilization score among running backs and maintains a double-digit target share in three of four games played this season. Matthew Berry notes the preseason Blake Corum argument (Rams blowing out teams, saving Williams for second half) has not materialized because the Rams are 2-2 and struggling, making Williams an RB1 again.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeInjury5:04

Suffered ankle injury in Week 4 but considered day-to-day, suggesting minimal immediate fantasy impact.

Insight page
NegativeInjury6:01

Top two quarterback who left early in week 4. Matthew Berry had him in a league and faced impact from his early exit.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeProjection9:00

Nico Collins was among the Week 4 scoring leaders at wide receiver.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

NegativeUsage40:00

Ollie Gordon carried the ball nine times for 100 yards but the stats are skewed by a 53-yard run; he is getting 56% of the carries with Jalen Wright also receiving significant volume. Matthew Berry cautions against overreacting, noting this is a low-volume offense. However, Gordon did play 88% of snaps in the second half after the big run, saw both red zone touches, and got a 12% target share, suggesting the Dolphins found something in him.

Insight page
PositiveRole40:36

After Devon Achane went down, the question was whether Ollie Gordon or Jalen Wright would be usable; Matthew Berry says both questions are now answered: it will be Gordon and yes, he can be usable. Early on Wright had more snaps, but Gordon ripped off a 52-yard run and then played 88% of snaps in the second half, getting significantly more work than Wright. Berry places him on the low-end flex radar, noting Miami may not always have game script for 15 touches but they found something in Gordon.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeMatchup48:38

Parker Washington had his first game this season with a target share under 18%, but Matthew Berry is not worried. The middle of the field was wide open and it was a big Brenton Strange game; Cincinnati is so bad against tight ends that Strange went off. Trevor Lawrence only completed 23 passes total, limiting volume. Washington maintains the fifth-highest target share going into the game, and Berry expects this to come back.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

PositiveProjection9:00

Puka Nakua returned to action in Week 4 with 9 receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown, placing him among the week's top-scoring wide receivers.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeInjury5:13

Left Week 4 game early with hamstring injury.

Insight page
NegativeInjury5:57

Injured in game against Raiders; severity unknown. Chiefs are now thin at wide receiver with Rice and Tyquan Thornton both sidelined. Rice was ranked among top 15 wide receivers.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury5:07

Left Week 4 game early with hamstring injury; Ian Rappaport reported it doesn't seem to be overly serious, though unclear if he'll miss time.

Insight page
NegativeInjury6:44

Top ten running back who left early in week 4, contributing to a brutal injury week for fantasy managers.

Insight page
NegativeProjection23:12

Matthew Berry notes that Saquon Barkley is likely still a must-start if he returns from injury, regardless of matchup, but cautions that the Eagles' offensive struggles (0-for-17 on third down, 93 passing yards, 31% offensive play success rate, three yards per play) and the tough road matchup against Jacksonville in London make it worth pausing to consider alternatives on the bench. The Eagles' identity crisis (Saquon out, offensive line struggling, Shanahan-style scheme not working) creates uncertainty.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveValue55:01

Tank Bigsby left the game in week four and needs to be added until clarity is obtained on his injury status. Matthew Berry lists him as a priority waiver add along with Will Shipley.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeInjury5:13

Left Week 4 game early with abductor injury; has a Week 6 bye which could provide recovery time if he misses one game.

Insight page
NegativeInjury5:47

Left game with abductor injury. Bengals have week six bye, so if he misses one game, potentially back by week seven.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeProjection51:47

Travis Kelce had 15 yards in week four and has only a 12% target share with one game having more than five targets so far this season. Matthew Berry notes he is a low-end, touchdown-dependent tight end one, which is what he was drafted as; he probably ranks inside the top 12 tight ends for the rest of the season but barely. With Rasheed Rice out and Tyquan Thornton looking to be at significant time, Kelce will likely get back to more opportunities.

Insight page
PositiveRole52:33

With Rasheed Rice out due to hamstring injury, Travis Kelce will get back to more opportunities. The two pass catchers with the most chemistry with Mahomes are Rasheed Rice (now out) and Kelce. Matthew Berry notes the chemistry is still there despite Kelce not being in his prime, and with Rice out, the Chiefs will have to rely on Kelce. The Chiefs are on a bye this week, which may give them more time to get in sync.

Insight page

Tre Harris

PositiveValue55:12

Trey Harris is one of two wide receivers (along with Keon Coleman) who should see a big uptick in usage if DJ Moore and Ladd McConkie miss any time. Matthew Berry lists him as a waiver priority add for week five.

Insight page

Tyquan Thornton

NegativeInjury5:57

Was having a huge game against Raiders when injured. Chiefs now thin at wide receiver with both Thornton and Rasheed Rice sidelined.

Insight page

Will Shipley

PositiveValue55:01

Will Shipley needs to be added as a waiver priority until clarity is obtained on the Jaguars backfield situation. Matthew Berry lists him alongside Tank Bigsby as a priority add.

2:20Crazy. The happy hour officially open. Time to get happy hour started here in the lounge.
2:25And it was a crazy week for Beats. Yes.
2:27Okay, so I want to just start generically because we've got the Sundays in the books now.
2:32What are your biggest fantasy headlines from the weekend?
2:35Well, first off, okay, number one is it was a brutal injury weekend.
2:38Like, I just feel like through four weeks, it has been a worse injury year than ever before.
2:43Just too many big-name stars going down early. Every year there's brutal injuries, but it felt like, especially this Sunday, just incredibly
2:50another brutal injury week in terms of big-name stars leaving the game early.
2:53Number two headline, Ted Oroa-McMillan. This is the breakout game we've been waiting for, finally making good on his early draft status.
3:00Ted Oroa-McMillan dominates the Lions. Unbelievable game. Huge games for CeeDee Lamb.
3:03I call him eights. Huge game for my guy, eights, and Javante Williams, the Cowboys, roll over whatever the Texans call a defense.
3:09Number four, Drake Maye bounces back. Just in time for everyone that's like, all right, fine, I'm done.
3:15I'm putting him on my bench. Now that he's sitting on everyone's bench, like Beatles, he finally goes off.
3:20But at least you didn't drop him. And so Drake May bouncing back.
3:24And then number five, the complete collapse of this Eagles offense.
3:27So those are my five headlines here. Okay, those are the five.
3:30And you're right, he was on my bench. So Drake May, if you're watching, you're welcome.
3:35That's what did it. Yeah, I cursed you. So that being said, we're going to- No, you uncursed him.
3:40Thank you. Well, yeah, it depends on how you look at it.
3:43At playing him, I had cursed him. You're right.
3:46You know what? Glass half full. Thank you. Thank you, Beatle.
3:49Okay, I don't mind that. You took one for the team.
3:52And I still did okay. To allow everyone in the fantasy managers to go off.
3:56You know? Yes, they did. Selfless, Beatle. Thank you.
3:59Thank you, Moe. But you're not sharing your eggs.
4:02Look at this. I know, I have two hard-boiled eggs.
4:04To the lounge, we brought protein. And not sharing.
4:07I mean, like- This is the unsexiest moment in history.
4:10I mean, seriously, Beatle. We've got a little stash back here.
4:13Yeah. Things going on. I mean, like, just tell me you're an old lady without telling me you're an old lady.
4:19Would anybody like a hard-boiled egg? What are you doing?
4:22And Beatle brought- For people that are listening at home, Beatle brought- Oh, that's true.
4:26She hasn't eaten it yet. Too set. She hasn't eaten either of them.
4:30She's been trying to pawn them off on me and Moe.
4:33She offered one of them to me. And I'm like, you only brought two.
4:37You did your Pilates this morning. I know. Get your protein in.
4:40Come on now. Also, I'm concerned if you, like, if you cook them properly.
4:44First of all, everyone knows how to make great hard-boiled eggs.
4:47It's a 12-minute rule. You set a timer. God, Moe.
4:50It's like you don't know anything. I just don't.
4:52All right. All right. Let's get to injuries. We're going to start with injuries.
4:56The list is not great, as you just mentioned.
4:59So, again, sorry to everyone on this list, but from a fantasy perspective, what does it mean?
5:04Yeah. I mean, like, so Lamar Jackson with the ankles.
5:07Saquon Barkley with a hammy. He left early. Jamar Chase, that concussion.
5:10He's in concussion protocol. Tee Higgins with an abductor injury.
5:13That was a new one. Rasheed Rice also left early with a hamstring.
5:17Lad McConkie and DJ Moore also left the games early.
5:19So, a lot of big stars. A lot of people that were in your lineups here.
5:24Again, so Lamar Jackson's considered a day-to-day, so that's pretty good.
5:27We don't know on Saquon Barkley, although Ian Rappaport reporting it doesn't seem to be, quote, overly serious.
5:32We'll see if that means he misses any time as well.
5:35We've talked about the concussion protocol a lot on this show.
5:38He's in the concussion protocol. It's a nonlinear injury.
5:41He could be back this week. He could miss a month.
5:44We just don't know how serious this concussion is with Jamar Chase.
5:47And Tee Higgins, his teammate, leaves with that abductor injury.
5:50They do have a week six bye. So, if he's to miss one game, maybe, if nothing else, they're back hopefully by week seven.
5:57And Rasheed Rice, along with Tyquan Thornton, who was having a huge game against the Raiders, all of a sudden the 4-0
6:03Chiefs are really thin at wide receiver. We'll see how serious this is with Rasheed Rice.
6:08But there are rumors that Tyreek Hill, his agent coming out saying he could sign with the team this week.
6:13I wonder if there's a reunion in Kansas City happening as well.
6:17Well, McConkie and DJ Moore, we're going to talk a little bit more about Keon Coleman coming up here on the show.
6:23But, yeah. None of them seem to be super serious.
6:26No season-ending injuries, at least as of this taping.
6:28But that was my number one headline. Just brutal.
6:31It was just brutal. Big names. Big, big names.
6:34Well, there were a lot of what happened was in leagues.
6:37I had Jamar Chase in a league. I had Lamar Jackson in another league.
6:41So, you have these big-name players that leave early.
6:43And then you're also facing, like there's some monster games.
6:46Like whether it's Javonta Williams or CeeDee Lamb. Or we'll get into some of them, right?
6:51But, like, you know, Hubbard. And, like, just some of these.
6:54So, Ted Rowe and McMillan. You face these huge games.
6:57And you're like, meanwhile, I'm over here with, like, you know, zeros.
7:00Because the guys left early. Yeah, I mean, it's next man up.
7:03So, what does that mean for the offense, right?
7:06Like, there's instances where the receiver goes out. And then the running back's going to get increased.
7:11I mean, we're going to talk about the Bengals with Chase Brown.
7:14And what that means for the Ravens as well.
7:17So, it's always an X-Man up opportunity. Glass half full kind of guys.
7:20You guys are very negative over here. No, I'm trying.
7:23I'm looking at who we need to pick up, all right?
7:26That's why. Yeah, but you could pick guys up that are going to benefit your team.
7:31Sure, good. But we're talking about, you know. Or trust what you have.
7:34We're talking about Sunday. And so, that was one of the big headlines.
7:38Do you think it's like just sort of because we're all in the moment?
7:42Or do we do this with all sports? Do you sometimes have, like, a week like this, right?
7:47Where we have a lot of big name injuries.
7:50And you're like, God, I don't remember it ever being this bad.
7:53But I feel like we say that every year.
7:56Yeah, I feel like we do too. Probably. It's just bad.
7:59It's hard. It's a violent game. The worst part is the quarterbacks because that's what everyone's tuning in to watch.
8:04I mean, you have a top two quarterback in Lamar.
8:07You have a top ten running back in Saquon.
8:10A top two wide receiver in Jamar Chase. You know, a top 12, I believe, wide receiver in Tee Higgins.
8:16Yeah. Rasheed Rice and Lad McConkie went, you know, among the top 15-ish of wide receivers as well.
8:21So, it's just been tough. And which leads me to the second headline because one of the reasons why he went off
8:27was an injury to Jalen Coker who was inactive for the game.
8:30Yep. Who was on my bench. But yes, Mr.
8:33McMillan had a nice little career night. Does that change anything for you moving forward past today?
8:38A little bit, right? I mean, but not significantly so.
8:40So, here's the positives, right, of Ted O'erreo and McMillan.
8:4341% target share. 46% of the team's air yards.
8:46He had a 98 utilization score. He was out there a lot and Bryce Young kept finding him.
8:51Now, it was against Detroit, right? Lions are one of the worst teams in the NFL.
8:55They're bottom three in receptions, yards, points allowed to wide receivers.
8:59No Jalen Coker. Coke heads unite. And, you know what, look again, like so you see sort of the scoring leaders of the week four wide receivers, right?
9:06So, after McMillan, it's my guy, 8, CeeDee Lamb, Nico Collins, Taequann Thornton, and welcome back Puka Nakua.
9:129 for 125 and a touch. So, the positives for me on Ted O'erreo and McMillan are, you know, at least he's
9:18had at least 75 yards in three of the four games so far this season.
9:22He's had four end zone targets in his past three games.
9:25So, I do think he's like a legitimate, like, you know, wide receiver too.
9:29The concern here is that this is literally his second career game with 20 fantasy points.
9:34I think he is more of a floor play than an upside play despite the massive game here.
9:39Like, if somebody's willing to give you top 10 wide receiver value for Ted O'erreo and McMillan, I don't mind making that offer.
9:45I don't mind selling high because I think this is his best game of the season.
9:50When, like, I'm a believer in Dave Canales and I'm a believer in Bryce Young, but they're not always going to play
9:56the Lions and they're not always going to have Coker not being out there.
10:00So, I think you've seen McMillan's best game of the season.
10:03But, again, insanely talented player who was drafted in the first round for a reason.
10:07I agree with you. He's not going to top 45 points because that's a ton, but I still think he's going to produce the rest of the season.
10:15When he is fed with nine plus targets, he has gone absolutely nuts.
10:19Right? And it kind of reminds me, like, my head coach in college, just random side story, but he'd be like, open
10:25your mouth and let me feed you. And we're all like, what the hell are you saying?
10:30Right? But speaking of feeding. I would never do well with a coach.
10:34It kind of became a joke. Not just coaches.
10:36I started laughing. Okay. Did you laugh or was everyone, like, in it?
10:40Yeah. Everyone just kind of looked at me. I was like, what the hell just happened?
10:44It just kind of becomes a joke the rest of the season.
10:48But this dude's getting fed. Right? And, like, they just have a connection, especially with Coker.
10:52You mentioned it. That plays a big role. But nine plus targets, seven career games.
10:57He's averaging 22 and a half points in those games, 109 yards and seven catches.
11:01And I do think that usage will remain relatively consistent, depending on Coker.
11:05But still, I mean, it also depends on scheme and the way Canales is using him.
11:09He uses him a lot in the slot. I love when coaches have big bodies in the slot because then we get those nickel corners.
11:16These guys are like 5'10", 5'11". That's a mismatch.
11:19He's winning one-on-one routes. He's also getting open in zone.
11:22Bryce Young's playing the best football of his career.
11:24I think that's going to continue as well. They pointed this out in the broadcast, too.
11:29Young gets up the ball so quickly. And so when he's running those quick slants against – right.
11:34He's a big, tall guy against those – right.
11:36And with Hubbard playing well, those linebackers are coming up.
11:39So it's all RPO game. That's the same thing he did at Alabama.
11:43He's just comfortable in what he's doing. Yeah. I'm glad you mentioned Hubbard.
11:46Chuba Hubbard, another big game for the Panthers. RB1, yes, no?
11:50The Chubbler. I think he's a borderline RB1, right?
11:52So in the two games since Jonathan Brooks went on the IR, you know, he's averaging over 20 fantasy points per game.
11:58He's got, you know, close to 240 scrimmage yards.
12:01He's had 44 touches. So, you know, massive RB1-type workload.
12:04In terms of utilization score, he's running back eight.
12:06So they're using him. He's giving them that kind of workload.
12:09Now they're on a bye this week, and then they play the Eagles.
12:13So, you know, it's a little bit tougher. But what I did say on social media here is that – I put
12:19this out as a tweet when I was seeing Hubbard.
12:22Like, in the pre-season, we talked a lot about, like, who's this year's Devontae Williams, right?
12:27Just that – like, think about last year. Devontae Williams was a running back that, like, people were like, is he going to be the starter in Dallas?
12:35Who knows? You know, he's kind of boring. He was bad the year before.
12:39Like, just who's that boring, bad the year before running back whose talent and role we're sort of uncertain of, and he
12:45just goes in the middle rounds, and no one's ever excited to draft him?
12:49Last year, that was Devontae Williams and paid off.
12:51And I think this year, the answer to whose last year's Devontae Williams, it's Chuba Hubbard.
12:56It's the chubbler. I don't know that Jonathan Brooks – We have yet to see Jonathan Brooks be good in the NFL.
13:02We have seen Chuba Hubbard be good in the NFL for extended periods of time.
13:06There's a reason the Panthers paid him this kind of money.
13:09So, low-end RB1? Yes. But I do think he is a borderline RB1.
13:13Yeah, I'm not mad at the Devontae comparison because it's electric offenses that are going to score a lot and not the
13:19sexiest running back, but you are the lead back in that explosive offense.
13:23So, yeah, I like that comparison as well. I mean, the concern was always, like, is it going to be committee, right?
13:29Because there was Brooks, there's A.J. Dillon, there's Chuba.
13:32Chubbler, if you don't know. The Chubbler. Yeah, the Chubbinator.
13:35Do you not like the name of the Chubbler?
13:37I just said – it's not my favorite. How about that?
13:40Do you think he would like it? Probably. Yeah, I think so.
13:44We could ask him. I'm a positive person. I believe so.
13:47It's true, Adam. I mean, listen. He took a command.
13:50It's no Brown Gobbler, but as nicknames go, I think it's pretty good.
13:53It's a good thing you don't believe nicknames. The Chubbler.
13:56Nope. But he is on my team, and I do – I'm excited about my Chubbler.
14:01Like, how's that? Like, if just – like, you just talk – like, think about it, Beatle.
14:05Like, if he's on your team, you got it.
14:08Like, it's just – you know, it's exciting. Yeah.
14:11Right? It rolls off the tongue. Yeah. Come on, Beatle.
14:13Come on, Beatle. I will not take this bait.
14:16I am above it. Here's what's great. You really aren't.
14:19I know. I'm not at all. My brain is like, wow.
14:22I can't believe for the first time in our life, Beatle decided to be an adult.
14:26I know. That was really hard. Cowboys. We know.
14:29Ats. And Javante Williams. So, takeaways from both those performances.
14:32Yeah. I think the concern here – to me, the – you know, listen.
14:36C.D. Lamb's awesome, right? Yeah. You know. Right? Shout out.
14:39Yeah. And it's third straight – it's his third straight game with at least seven receptions and 100 receiving yards.
14:44He's had 50% of the team's end zone targets on the season as well.
14:48I know, to me, the biggest takeaway isn't that C.D.
14:51Lamb's awesome because, like, no duh. Yeah. But, no, look, the – this is not – I don't think this is a fluke because the defense is terrible.
14:59They're going to constantly have to be in scoring.
15:02I think the bigger concern out of the performances of the Cowboys isn't that C.D.
15:06Lamb's awesome because we know he is. Isn't it Javante Williams had a big deal?
15:10Because, again, they'll be in scoring position often. It's George Pickens, two for 75.
15:14Like, he's had more than – he's had one game, literally one game this entire season with double fantasy points.
15:20I actually still think he's an obvious buy low, but he's had a 20% target share at least in three out of four games so far this season.
15:28He's wide receiver 26 in utilization score. So it's a little bit down, but I don't think you're going to have to
15:34– this is a guy that was being drafted as a top 10 fantasy wide receiver this season.
15:39I think you can certainly get him for significantly less than that.
15:42I'm just – I'm a believer in his talent and this Cowboys offense as well.
15:47I might try to buy low on George Pickens, Moe, and I might try to sell high on Javante Williams.
15:52Again, again, they're going to be in scoring position often.
15:55He scored a lot of touchdowns last year, but so far this season, 44% of his points are on touchdowns.
16:01He's very touchdown dependent. And I think they'll score a lot and they like to use him there, but you'd like to
16:07see more of a skill set other than just he happens to be the guy who gets the ball.
16:12And you think they're going to continue throwing the ball because that defense isn't great.
16:17They're going to be playing from behind, which leads us to those wide receivers.
16:21Talked about Seedy. Tied for seventh most catches in an NFL game in NFL history.
16:25I mean, that's absolutely unreal. So what does that mean for Pickens?
16:28I have to have some level of belief in defenses adjusting, right?
16:32There's no way when you're playing against a wide receiver that has nearly 50% target share that you're not going to start bracketing that guy.
16:39And Dak does a really good job of going to second and third options.
16:43I agree with you. I think buy low candidate for Pickens is a really good opportunity.
16:47He's too good and that offense is too good that he's going to be, quote unquote, this bad, this disappointing.
16:53I was happy to see him catch the long one again.
16:56Again, under 3.5 yards per carry for Javante Williams in three out of four games so far this season.
17:01He's not super efficient. He's getting all the goal line work.
17:04And you think about Dave Montgomery in week number one.
17:07He scores the three touchdowns. I just, I don't think, I think Javante Williams is much closer to an RB2 than he is an RB1.
17:14And right now he looks like an RB1. So if somebody's willing to give me, I'm not saying Javante Williams is going
17:21to have a ton of value the rest of the year.
17:24He's obviously going to. But again, I would value him as an RB2 the rest of the way.
17:29I think you might be able to get RB1 prices.
17:32So I don't mind. If somebody's willing to give you a top 10 overall player for Javante Williams, let me have it.
17:38That's it. Drake May has been top of the conversation all last week.
17:42And a lot of us benched him. Yeah. And by a lot of us, we mean you.
17:46Yeah. Well, I'm not the only one. There's no way I'm going.
17:50No, everyone did. But talk to me. Listen, in all fairness, I gave that advice.
17:54People ask me, like, Barry, what am I doing with Drake May?
17:57And I said, you are not dropping him, but you are benching him.
18:01See? I listen. There was nothing we had seen in the previous three weeks that gave you any confidence in this Patriots
18:07offense playing Buffalo, especially given the fact that, honestly, Moe Romeo Dobbs hadn't played well.
18:12He wasn't getting, in addition to sort of the yips and the turnovers with Drake May, he wasn't getting any help from his pass catchers as well here.
18:19But I thought, you know, I thought he looked good.
18:22He had 54 rushing yards. Season highs not only in passing yards, but also in rushing.
18:27So 269 through the air, 54 on the ground.
18:29And got helped out. Listen, it took a couple of unbelievable catches.
18:33One handed by Romeo Dobbs. One handed by Eli Raritan.
18:36But, Moe, to me, he looked closer to the 2025 version of Drake May we've seen.
18:40Is it going to stay? I think so. There was three things, right?
18:44Number one was the turnovers. The fumble is on him.
18:47There's no way around that. That interception bounced off of Dobbs' hands.
18:50So he took care of the football, which he hasn't been doing the latter part of last season and the beginning of this season.
18:57The second is the rushing yards. He's using his legs.
19:00Yeah, exactly. He's very underrated in that element. 54 rushing yards.
19:03Even in the red zone, I think he's going to start using that a little bit more.
19:08Opportunities for rushing touchdowns. And then the second is his confidence down in the red zone as well because that's where a lot of those turnovers came from.
19:16We mentioned earlier, he throws that fade. He checks it to himself.
19:19That's a lot of trust on a third down situation.
19:22I know you said it was a one handed catch by Chiz, but that's a good ball.
19:27That's just the only place that could have gone was right here.
19:30And he held his other hand, so he had no other choice.
19:33So you're saying the throw was amazing? The ball placement, I think both were great.
19:38But we're overlooking the throw and the confidence to throw that on third down in the red zone.
19:43When everyone's talking terrible about you, saying we need to bench you, you're turning the ball over.
19:48The confidence is back. That's what I see. And that's the biggest thing, Moe.
19:51I mean, you talk about this more than either Michelle or I can, but in terms of just having confidence.
19:57Like, Drake May's not stupid. He knows he hasn't played well.
20:00He knows there's media swirling around. There's a lot of fans and media questioning.
20:04His coach doesn't really want to answer questions about him.
20:07It's just none of it's great, right? And so not only does he produce on a fantasy level, which is what we
20:13care about, but to your point about confidence, like they won this game.
20:17Like, they played the Buffalo Bills. He went toe-to-toe with Josh Allen, with proud fantasy life investor and number one quarterback in the NFL and fantasy, Josh Allen.
20:25And he won. They were down in the fourth quarter, and he led them to a score, and ultimately the Patriots win this game.
20:32And so I think just from a real-life NFL perspective, Drake May winning this game against Buffalo, against a division rival, a
20:38legitimate Super Bowl contender in the Bills, I think that goes a long way for his confidence.
20:43It's worth, like, three games because it was Buffalo.
20:45Yeah. Like, that's the confidence boost. It's like a three-gamer.
20:48Plus, it's at Buffalo, like you mentioned, against your division rival.
20:51How about with—that's without A.J. Brown. You're down weapons on the perimeter.
20:55Your offensive line's banged up. They hadn't been playing well.
20:57What's he going to look like as he continues to elevate?
21:01And then you bring in maybe a top-10 wide receiver in terms of talent out there, a guy that you can really
21:07trust to win one-on-one matchups, that can make you look better, too, down the field.
21:11I mean, look, I think there's a ton of upside off of this game.
21:15No question. By the way, other side of the ball is as long as we just talked about this game real quickly.
21:21D.J. Moore leaves this game early. Kian Coleman's up taking over.
21:2423% target share for Coleman. Six receptions in two of the past three games.
21:28Now, we'll talk about a little bit more coming up later in the show.
21:32I want to talk a little bit more about Dalton Kincaid.
21:35But Kian Coleman, first-round pick. It was nice to see him, Mo, finally, you know— Breakout game.
21:40A little bit of a breakout game. Again, I feel like we've seen this.
21:44If D.J. Moore is going to miss time, Ken Coleman, we'll talk about him a little bit later in the show, and
21:50we'll also talk about him tomorrow on the Waver Wire show.
21:54But he's going to be very popular, rightfully so.
21:56Pickup option this week. He's available more than 50% of leagues.
21:59Dalton Kincaid, by the way, another tough game for him.
22:02Started the season so hot, but just a 9% target share each of the last two weeks.
22:07I don't know if that just was a one-game kind of thing or the last two games.
22:12It's weird. But ran just 56% of the routes on Dalton Kincaid.
22:15I don't have a great answer on him other than— It's weird, right?
22:19It's a weird one. Two games in a row, Kincaid has—after starting the season so hot, all of a sudden— I think
22:25you have to hold that hope that— Who is he is what you're asking?
22:29Yeah, that Joe Brady goes back to the tape and says, like, all right, we need to get this guy more involved because it didn't work out.
22:37Last two weeks, four points combined. And then weeks one and two, 34 and a half.
22:41So you're like, what on earth is going on?
22:44Who is this player? But I think to your point, Joe Brady, if you watch the presser, he said, quote, I've got
22:50to find a way to get the ball in his hand.
22:53So I think a lot of it's scheme, just getting your playmakers the ball.
22:57It's good that he's acknowledging it and understanding, like, we need to get our weapons involved more.
23:02So that, to me, makes me a little bit hopeful, especially with DJ Moore out, too.
23:06I want to start with you, Mo, because on this next one, because you are such a positive spirit.
23:12Sometimes. The Eagles offense. Jalen Hurts. Panic level for them.
23:14What do you have? I'm panicking. Okay. Because typically I am positive, but, I mean, if there's no place to be positive, I mean, how could you?
23:22You have 93 passing yards. This is the worst start to a Philadelphia Eagles offense in, I believe, this century, statistically.
23:28It's unbelievable. I just think, what's your identity on offense?
23:31Typically you're going to be running the ball with Saquon.
23:34He's out. They haven't been able to do that.
23:36Offensive line has been abysmal. Sean Mannion, his whole thing coming in is like, we're going to bring the Shanahan style.
23:42We're going to be under center, play outside zone.
23:45And they just haven't been able to do that.
23:47They're one of the worst offenses under center in the entire NFL.
23:51So, I mean, we talk about Tank Bigsby coming in and Will Shipley.
23:54I think they're going to be able to help as well.
23:58But I just think they're very predictable as well.
24:00They have no second half adjustments. They have no plan against any kind of blitz.
24:04The Rams clearly at halftime, they said, we're going to blitz the hell out of them.
24:09And they weren't able to convert a third down the entire football game.
24:13I think this is just coaching malpractice from top to bottom.
24:16And Jalen needs to play better as well, but it starts with coaching.
24:19Yeah, I don't want to panic too much on the Eagles.
24:22But listen, they're now 0 for 17 on third down, dating back to the second half of last week against the Bears.
24:290 for 17 on third down. Jalen Hurts doesn't look like himself.
24:32We'll see if Saquon's back. By the way, they're on the road at Jacksonville next week.
24:37Like, that is a tough matchup, right? That is a tough matchup.
24:40Over the last three weeks, QB 21. Jalen Hurts is QB 21 on a points-per-game basis.
24:45He's averaging just 14 fantasy points per game. And so it also seems like, and this is just, you know, sad, it
24:51seems like Devontae Smith is going to miss multiple weeks.
24:54He did not play in this one. The concern is this hamstring injury is more serious than we thought.
24:59So, you know, there's a chance. I don't know that there is any Eagles player that is a must start.
25:05I think that you are likely still starting Jalen Hurts.
25:07You are likely still starting Saquon Barkley if he's back, right?
25:11Regardless of matchup. But, like, I might pause at least just a second to see who else I had on my team.
25:17Because, again, on the road to Jacksonville is really, really tough.
25:20And as we just talked about it, this is a team that has, on the season, a 31% offensive play success rate.
25:26They're averaging three yards per play. So, yeah, there's not an Eagle where I feel like I don't care.
25:32I'm just automatically starting him. You're very likely starting Saquon and Hurts.
25:35But at least this week, on the road to Jacksonville, that's a tough matchup.
25:39That's a tough matchup. I don't know if you guys do this.
25:42Do you ever, like, look at the headshots as we're talking about topics?
25:46Like, it's kind of fun. This is just a me thing.
25:49Like, his looks, that doesn't look like him to me.
25:52He looks old. He looks a lot older in that.
25:55He does look a lot older in that. He looks a lot older in that.
25:59But it's just fun to look at. Just start paying attention.
26:02It's part of my... He's stressed. He doesn't look stressed.
26:05Kyron Williams. Is he starting to separate himself for you in that Rams backfield?
26:09Yeah, he really is. Over the last two weeks, he's playing 76% of the snaps.
26:13He's out touching Blake Corum 47-14. You know, over the past two weeks, he's the second best running back in utilization score.
26:19And more importantly, they're using him in the passing game.
26:22Double-digit target share in three of the four games he's played so far this season.
26:26The Blake Corum preseason argument was, the Rams are going to be blowing these teams out, and they're going to be up
26:33in the second half, so they're going to be running a lot, and they're going to want to save Kyron Williams, so
26:39you're going to see a lot of Blake Corum in the second half.
26:43Well, that just hasn't happened. They're just... They're not...
26:45They had to come back from the Eagles. Like, they're...
26:48You know, they... Like, they're 2-2 and barely. So that's part of the...
26:52As well. But yes, Kyron Williams is back to being an RB1.
26:55He's just agreeing with you. He agrees with me.
26:58I know. That's going to do it for the headlines.
27:00We're going to break. Yeah. Producer Damien says we have to go to break.
27:04It's his fault. My bad. Weekend Warriors. Next. Yeah.
27:07You know, most of us picked a bank when we were 16, stayed out of habit, and just accepted all those hidden monthly costs.

28:57I didn't know you. You're going to buy one?
28:59Here's the good news. Oh, God. You know what?
29:02I ate the eggs. This is creative. And now I'll never eat another egg.
29:06Yeah, screw you guys. That is disgusting. I know.
29:08I love you. And it looks. Is that supposed to be your face?
29:12It is my face. What do you think it's supposed to be his face?
29:16What do you think it is? Yeah, of course it's my face.
29:19Who did that? That is warped. Yeah, it says, sorry, America, you'll never eat another hard-boiled egg.
29:24That's right. Was this a Jess idea? Just thinking about my face.
29:28Look, I got a... Why is it yellow? I definitely have a conehead, you know, Grandpa Simpson kind of noggin here.
29:34There's no question. Well, can I be optimistic for a second, Matthew?
29:37What we can do with this? This is kind of like, if you were thinking about shaving your head completely, this is
29:43sort of like a good idea of what that could be.
29:46That's my fear, honestly, but look how pointy it is.
29:49My fear is that, like, it's a little pointy.
29:52Like, I definitely like, if you ever see Grandpa Simpson, I look sadly like Grandpa Simpson.
29:56I'm a little... I got a little Grandpa Simpson going on, which is...
30:00Worst things to look like, though. Not many, to be perfectly honest.
30:03Thanks for ruining hard-boiled eggs for me, whoever's idea.
30:06Either Jess or Blake. And eggs. I got more.
30:08She still ate them. She still hasn't eaten them, though, so screw you.
30:12You know what? Why would you bring it to the set?
30:15You had an hour to eat them. You had an hour...
30:18This is DJ Gallo's project. Yeah, you had an hour to eat them, Beetle, and you didn't have an hour to ruin for you.
30:25That's fine. Guys, here's the deal. Step one, bring the eggs.
30:28Tomorrow, step two, eat the eggs. Like, it's just baby steps.
30:31I'll eat it. Again. Weekend Warriors. Before we get to Weekend Warriors, real quickly, one last thing here.
30:36Good God. Just to clean up last week... No, last segment, I talked about Hurts and the Jaguars game.
30:42That game is actually in London. I think I said it was at Jacksonville.
30:46The Jags are the home team. Basically, it is.
30:48It's London also. The Jags are technically the home team, but the game is in London.
30:53I just want to clean that up. And shout out to Cobra Kyger, who brings up when I mentioned Hurts.
30:59He said, listen, he had two starting linemen out.
31:01He had top wide receiver, running back and tight and out.
31:04Obviously, Barkley, Goddard, Cobra Kyger, but the fact of the matter is, I don't know that that's not happening again.
31:10That's the concern. Yeah. Yeah, it might happen again.
31:12He may not have... I don't think he's going to have Goddard back.
31:16I don't think he's going to have Smith back.
31:19He may not have Barkley back. I don't know about Lane Johnson.
31:22I just... Anyway, there's concern here. This could be reality for a second.
31:26Weekend Warriors. Weekend Warriors, running backs, there's your list.
31:28Matthew, take us through the list and then start, please, with Kenneth Walker because...
31:32K-9. Got to be the top running back right now, right?
31:35Yeah, I mean, he was a finalist for my ride or die.
31:39I kind of wish I'd made him my ride or die.
31:42After four weeks, he's the second best running back in fantasy football.
31:45He's at least 21 fantasy points in all four games.
31:48So it's not just... It's not just, oh man, this guy's good.
31:52He's been consistently good. Week in, week out. He's averaging almost 25 touches a game and a 16% target share.
31:57That's the most important thing, Mo, is they use him in the passing game as well.
32:02Yeah, I mean, I was as surprised as anyone.
32:04I feel like I was watching this game. I was like, has he always been this good?
32:09Because the Seahawks were kind of having split carries.
32:12I was like, I always saw K-9 as this big physical back.
32:15I didn't see him as this explosive guy. And right now, he's got the highest percentage of carries in the NFL with 20 plus.
32:22He's not good. He told me, I'd be like, no, that's not kind of a walker.
32:26He's always been an explosive guy. He's always been a guy that like...
32:30But he wasn't rattling off those long runs, I feel like.
32:33No, he's somewhat in Seattle. The biggest thing was, were they going to use him in the passing game?
32:39And on the preseason here on the happy hour, we talked to our friend Dan Graziano, who was at Chiefs camp, who
32:45literally told everyone that was listening in the preseason to happy hour, like, yes, they will use Ken Walker the preseason.
32:51Like, we... I was significantly ahead of Walker. Listen, you want to yell at me at Colston Loveland?
32:56And I get it. You have every right to.
32:58But if you listen to me, you should also have Ken Walker on your team.
33:03Because I had him significantly ahead of consensus. And so you're welcome, America.
33:06How could you not? He's going to win Offense Player of the Year.
33:10He should. He absolutely should. I get it. I'll never get why he was allowed to switch teams.
33:15It's a lot of money for a running back.
33:18I know, but man, you've got to feel a little foolish right now, right?
33:22They took a first-rounder and he's been hurt. Oh, it's just crazy.
33:25All right, starting with you, Bears, Kyle Menangai. Menangai.
33:28Not Swift, by the way, leading the way. So are we seeing a little change here?
33:32Yeah, if you like physical running, you're going to love Kyle Menangai.
33:35I mean, I'm surprised this guy went seventh round.
33:38If you watch him at Rutgers, he had a really good career over there.
33:42I watched that bowl game against Miami. Ran all over really physical defense.
33:46Through two years in the Big Ten, no fumbles.
33:48Yeah, it's 681 carries between college and NFL, no fumbles, which leads us to DeAndre Swift, who fumbled.
33:53And then Menangai gets the next 30 carries. That is a statement from Ben Johnson.
33:58Now the question is, what does this mean for the future, right?
34:01I don't think he's going to get 30 carries again, but what he will get is those red zone carries because of how physical he is.
34:08Yeah, second game this season that DeAndre Swift had a fumble, to your point, he did not play after fumbling on the first drive of the third quarter.
34:16And Ben Johnson clarified after the game, it was not injury-related.
34:19So he was benched for the fumbling DeAndre Swift was.
34:22Now, Kyle Menangai left this game with a thumb injury, but he's had at least 12 touches in three out of four games this year.
34:29He's certainly earned a bigger role. Is he going to be the lead back as he's replacing DeAndre Swift?
34:35I'm not sure about that. Again, Keith Keenum led them to a victory, and then here comes Tyson Bajan.
34:40You know what I mean? So Ben Johnson may have just sat Swift down to teach him a lesson, and it'll go back to what normal.
34:47But the fact is, is Menangai has earned a bigger role moving forward, assuming he is healthy.
34:52We'll keep following that thumb injury. That's a tough lesson.
34:55Also, Coach, you didn't have to say it wasn't injury-related.
34:58He was asked. I just said no comment. I know, that hurts my feelings.
35:02Emmanuel Wilson, nice game filling in for Price. Outlook there for Seattle?
35:05Yeah, we talked about Emmanuel Wilson on Fantasy Football Happy Hour last call.
35:09We do it Sunday morning, every Sunday morning, noon to 1 Eastern on the Matthew Barry YouTube channel, me and Alex Cupps from FantasyLife.com.
35:16But of the 32 running back touches for the Seahawks, Emmanuel Wilson handled 24 of them.
35:20He got 100% of the team's red zone and goal line work.
35:24Each of the past three games he's led this backfield, Jadarian Price has now banged up.
35:28He's going to miss some time. So Emmanuel Wilson suddenly becomes like the lead running back on a good offense and now he gets the Chargers this week.
35:36Really good short-term opportunity, just uneasy about it long-term because of all those guys.
35:40You mentioned Charbonnet, etc. Charbonnet, his win-and-return has come back, has opened, yep.
35:44In the short-term, 21 attempts in two of the last four games.
35:47And like you said, a really good offense that like to establish the run.
35:51So until Price comes back, yeah, of course, I love Emmanuel Wilson.
35:54Now, their upcoming schedule is not easy. Home to San Francisco at Denver, home to Kansas City are the next three.
36:00So, like again, he's probably more of a flex play based on matchup, but the workload is there for Emmanuel Wilson.
36:06Let's go to you, Mo. The rookie, Carnell Tate, had a nice, nice game against Baltimore.
36:11Tater Tot. Carnell Tate. How about that? For a food game?
36:14Yeah, yeah. Is that a big name for real?
36:17No, I just made it up. I just made it up.
36:20Tater Tot. On the spot. Off the dome. That's how it happens.
36:23That's pretty much what this show is. Pretty much all this show is, B.
36:27I feel like, I feel like Carnell Tate, career game, it was bound to happen.
36:31One of the best route runners I think I've thrown with too, and so really cool to see him kind of separate within this offense.
36:38So you've thrown with Carnell Tate. That's where it came from.
36:41I've worked out. So you could technically try to get this name to stick because you've interacted.
36:46You have a cell. You could text him. Yeah, you could actually ask, hey, do you like this?
36:51I haven't thrown it out yet because I literally just came up with it, but we could tell him right now.
36:57Maybe in the break. Maybe in the break. Maybe in the break.
37:01But look, the fact of the matter is that Cam Ward is getting to a level of respectability where he can at
37:07least get the ball to Carnell Tate, who's an insanely talented wide receiver.
37:11They're bad and they're going to be down. The Titans are.
37:14They're going to be throwing a lot. So Carnell Tate, who gets a 43% target share in this one, his third straight
37:20game with an above 25% target share as well.
37:23They're throwing the ball to him down the field.
37:25His average up at the target is over 10 yards in three of the four games he's played this season.
37:31So when you think about the fact they're home to Houston this week, again, a Houston's defense that isn't as scary, at
37:37the Colts, home to Cleveland, at Cincinnati. So there's certainly a lot of teams that can put up points on the Titans.
37:43So yeah, give me some Carnell Tate. I think this is more legit than not.
37:47Yeah, and just if you look at big picture NFL, like his usage and targets are ridiculous.
37:52I mean, Cam loves him. Second in air yards, you said this is entire NFL.
37:56Fifth in target share. The only other rookie wide receivers to do that have been, since 2016, are Neighbors, Drake, and Puka.
38:03I mean, that is great company right there. That's a pretty good list.
38:06And six in total yards. I mean, total targets rather.
38:09Right, tater tot. We'll try. No Justin Jefferson, of course.
38:12TJ Hodginson, who you did mention last week before the weekend started, led the team with 13 catches.
38:17Moving forward, does that change anything? Yeah, I mean, I think so.
38:21I think he's now on the tight end one radar, right?
38:24He's had at least a 21% target share in three out of four games so far this season.
38:2913 receptions, that ties a career high. We've talked about the fact that Kyler Murray likes the tight end.
38:34Like, we've seen it in Arizona. He tends to throw to the tight end.
38:38And so, Hawkinson, again, obviously Jefferson being out helped in the matchup also pretty good.
38:42But make no mistake, Hawkinson was somebody that was considered an elite tight end, had a very serious injury.
38:48It's taken him a little while to get back, but seems like they're finally sort of discovering him.
38:53On the season, he's got a 44% target share in the red zone here.
38:57And so, yeah, this is a little bit of a breakout game for TJ Hawkinson.
39:01Started the season a little bit slow, but I think this is, this may be his, wind up being his best game of the season.
39:08I don't think he's getting 13 receptions every week.
39:11Right. But do I think he's a borderline tight end one with Kyler Murray under center in this offense?
39:16I do. Yeah, big game, 24 points. It would have been even better if he didn't take that knee on the one yard line.
39:23I mean, that was a gamey touchdown. That was brutal.
39:26So you have to factor that in. Fantasy heartbreak.
39:28Yeah, brutal. I also think, like, Kyler's not playing great.
39:31You have to expect him to at least elevate maybe minimum 10 to 15%, which I think just brings everyone up as well.
39:38So I think that offense is going to rise in total.
39:41He loves TJ Hawkinson. He's kind of like his new Trey McBride.
39:44He just loves tight end play. There's something about having that security blanket.
39:48So, very optimistic about TJ. I'm going to start with you on my, look, Miami's Miami is not going to always be
39:54a little positive, but we do have an Ollie Gordon moment that we can sort of glob onto if you want to.
40:00Is there a reason to be more optimistic with him?
40:03This is one where stats kind of lie. Oh no!
40:06If you just look at it, right, nine carries, 100 yards, you look, oh my gosh, like, this was, we went all
40:12in with the fab money and it worked out, but I would be a little bit cautious because that's largely skewed with the long 53-yard run.
40:19He is getting 56% of the carries, so it's, you know, not great.
40:23You have Jalen, Malik's getting a lot of carries as well.
40:26This is one where I would probably not overreact.
40:29Well, here's the positives though. I mean, I think we have the answer to the question was, there were two questions since Devon Achan went down.
40:36Is it going to be Ollie Gordon or Jalen Wright?
40:39Yeah. And will either of them be usable? And I think we finally, we got the answers to both those questions which
40:45are, it's going to be Ollie Gordon and the answer is yes, he can be usable.
40:50You know, early on, early on by the way, Jalen Wright actually had more snaps than Ollie Gordon.
40:55Right. But then Ollie Gordon rips off that like 52-yarder or something like that and then, you know, he played 88% of the snaps in the second half.
41:03He gave them something. He saw both running back red zone touches, actually got a 12% target share on this one.
41:09Again, it's a low volume offense, Jalen Wright's not going away and a lot of his production was skewed by the one
41:15big run but he had the one big run and so the fact that, you know, and once he got that, they
41:21started feeding him, they went, he got a significantly more work than Jalen Wright in the second half.
41:26So, you know, listen, the fact is is that I think he's now on the flex radar, low end flex.
41:32Low end flex, you know, I don't know that Miami's always going to be in game script to get him 15 touches
41:38in a game but, like, they found something in Ollie Gordon.
41:41It was a good game against a tough defense.
41:44Seems a little sad up here. Weekend Warriors, check.
41:46Next, guys. Not as sad as these two eggs.
41:49Like, this is like, Sunday's, hi. I'm an old lady.

42:51Fall's officially here and if you actually know my wife, you know that she's completely obsessed with everything autumn.
42:56One of her favorite fall traditions is wandering through the apple orchid.
42:59She loves apple orchids for some reason and what she'll do is she likes those warm caramel coated apples, right?
43:05There's just something about that sweet crisp apple and rich caramel combination that feels like fall in a bite.
43:11Now to be clear, one of the things my wife doesn't love is all the extra sugar that comes along with it.
43:17So this was cool when I found out that the new caramel apple five hour energy shot is coming out.
43:22Basically, it combines that crisp, juicy, sweet tart apple flavor with a rich, buttery caramel finish that tastes just like the real thing.
43:29Hey, and the best part, it's sugar free so you can enjoy those delicious autumn flavors without all the sugar.
43:35Plus, by the way, it's small enough to toss right in your pocket or bag making it so easy to take those
43:41cozy orchard vibes with you wherever your day takes you.
43:44Treat yourself to a crisp apple bite and smooth caramel delight with a caramel apple five hour energy shot.
43:49It's only available online for a limited time at fivehourenergy.com or Amazon.
43:52You know what's worse than being somebody that's mad at you?
43:56Being disappointed, Matthew, and that's what the Sunday scaries are all about.
43:59You look so disappointed. I look so sad. See, there's some names that have had some good, it was a good week last week.
44:06Look at how depressed I am. But I'm better dressed than I normally am.
44:10That's true. Yeah, but as you see there, Parker Washington, Travis Kelsey, Josh Downs, Garrett Wilson, and Jeremiah Love, all of them under seven fantasy points, Beatle.
44:17so much pain. Yeah, we're going to start with Jeremiah Love.
44:20Yeah, let's do, because that was a good one.
44:23This one makes no sense whatsoever. Jeremiah Love after the game trying to be protective of his head coach, saying, they're trying
44:29to manage my reps, whatever, but you drafted this guy number three overall.
44:33We thought after week three, finally we had the Jeremiah Love breakout game.
44:37He's finally going to get the full-time role, and yet even in a game where they were in close, they had a
44:43chance to win this game or get closer, Jeremiah Love's on the bench, played under 50% of the snaps.
44:48He played five fewer snaps than Tyler Algier. He played only 11 snaps in the second half.
44:53His ankle was getting worked on, but after the game, he said it wasn't, the reason he was on the bench wasn't injury-related.
45:00LaFleur said the team used Algier more than two-minute offense for pass protection reasons.
45:03Weird. Do you buy this at all, Mo? I mean, Is he lying?
45:07I mean, his comments were probably the last thing you want to hear as a fantasy owner after the game.
45:13He said, this is going to be the longest year of my career.
45:17Yeah. I'm like, oh, I dropped it in the head of Kenneth Walker.
45:20Ooh. I mean, this is tough. I mean. What?
45:23Yeah, I did. I did. I don't know much, but I know that's dumb.
45:27Okay, well, hindsight a little bit. But that's silly.
45:29Is it? It's really silly. It's not that silly.
45:32No, you know what? Discord, light them up. I'm just not going to ask.
45:36The Discord's already lighting them up. By the way, the Discord's already lighting you up, Mo, about this.
45:41They're saying your pile is very messy here. Your paper pile is very messy.
45:45And then, sorry for being prepared, guys. Is that what that is?
45:48No, and I think it was, I'm trying to see who, I'm trying to see who I messed it.
45:54They're all just going off. Oh, that's art, right?
45:56Yeah, Max Wilco says Mo's paper stack is so messy.
45:59And then, Shoeless Joe 1919 says, Mo has a clean clothes pile and a dirty clothes pile.
46:04No closets. Oh, you 100%. You know what? We're going to get to know Mo over the course of this show.
46:10I'm moving it to a new apartment. Well, then we're going to find out.
46:14With a golf simulator, too. Don't tell everybody. Good Lord.
46:17Wow, that was cool, all right? Sorry, I didn't mean to take away from Jeremiah Love.
46:21By the way, good headshot. See, I've been noticing all of them.
46:24Shut up. That's a good one. but the thing on Jeremiah Love and just, it's like, again, we expected like a big
46:31workload given his draft capital, Mo's, college guy, star out of college.
46:34So, mistake, but I get it. To me, what I would just say is that they got so much criticism for him,
46:40I think this gets reversed next week. They're home to Detroit next week, then they're at the Rams, home to Denver, at Dallas.
46:47So, there's a couple of defenses there. Detroit and Dallas, you really like.
46:51Rams and Broncos, a little bit tougher. They're going to need to use him in the passing game, and I get it.
46:57Algier, in theory, is the better pass pro guy, but this is not somebody that, I mean, this was a complete running back coming out of college.
47:04It is. We're not benching him? No, absolutely not.
47:07I think he's, after last week, I was just like, he's back to an RB1, and now I'm like, eh, he's probably
47:13still the RB2 we thought he was, because there's still playing time concerns with Algier, but, I do think better days are ahead.
47:20I think. The bad day at the office. Mike LaFleur, I think, was covering for his coaches.
47:24This will get corrected. 27 yards is what Garrett Wilson had, so I'd like to know what your concern would be about this one.
47:31Well, it's primarily because of their defense. They can't stop the run, and so, the time of possession margin was absurd.
47:37They had 17 minutes on offense. I believe the Bears had 45 plus, and so, when Gino's only completing eight footballs, yeah,
47:43if three of them go to Garrett, that's good, but we're just, there's no volume in the passing game, so, this isn't something where I'd freak out.
47:51It's not something where Garrett's not winning, getting separation.
47:54It's just, they're not getting enough time of possession and opportunities to throw to Garrett Wilson.
47:58That's kind of the way I look at it.
48:01I'm still optimistic with him long term. I see him as a buy low candidate.
48:05Yeah, listen, I think he's super talented. Wilson, despite the low numbers, still had a 27% target share.
48:10Yeah, to your point, Gino completed eight passes. Eight passes.
48:13Like, that's it. Better days are ahead for the Jets offense and Garrett Wilson.
48:17Just one of those days. Again, wide receiver two, not wide receiver one, but still, he'll be fine.
48:22You'll learn I'm very superstitious, and I feel like with this next guy, we spoke so highly that it made me worried, and with good reason, Parker Washington.
48:30That was your fault. Well, no. Yeah, first game, first game this season, like, again, you want to talk about somebody, if
48:36somebody's freaking out about Parker Washington, go get him.
48:39Parker Washington is just an absolute baller. It's his first game this season with a target share under 18%.
48:44The fact of the matter is, is like, the middle of the field was wide open.
48:49It was a big Brenton Strange game, and so I think that's normally where you see a lot of Parker Washington, but
48:55like, Cincinnati's so bad against tight ends, and so Brenton Strange was able to go off.
48:59Lawrence only completed 23 passes. Like, they just didn't have, it was a weird game.
49:04Bashal Tootin had two touchdowns called back due to penalty.
49:06Like, it was just, I watched all this game, and it was just a, it was a weird one as well.
49:12I'm not worried about it. Brian Thomas scored the touchdown.
49:15It just, Parker Washington would be just fine. It just wasn't a big volume game for Trevor Lawrence.
49:20Normally, the traveler would be fine. Yeah, it's a guy with the fifth highest target share going into this game, and so that is not a mirage.
49:28I think that's going to come back. I'm not worried at all.
49:3152% of his targets in this game went to tight ends or running backs, Trevor Lawrence.
49:36So again, just a weird game script. The traveler.
49:38The traveler. See, you're learning. No, I don't want to learn.
49:42You're getting there. This is not what I want to waste my leftover brain space on.
49:46That's right. Again, another guy spoken of very, What do you think about the Beebler as a nickname?
49:51My dad's watching. All right. Josh. That's an opinion.
49:54Hi, Bob. Shout out Bob Bevo. Shout out Bob Bevo.
49:57Well, I didn't know my last name. Okay, Mo, 16 yards against the commanders.
50:01Do you still trust in downs? Fantasy football is a cruel, It really is.
50:04A cruel world because there are real life human beings on this planet Earth who had both Parker Washington and Josh Downs on their fantasy football.
50:12Yes, sir. And it is inexplicable because, I mean, the matchup was great.
50:16Yeah. His ass rating is great. He's the ass god.
50:18He got so much separation, right? Yes. Average separation score.
50:21Yep. Alec Pierce is out. All the signs were there and it's just, you just flop.
50:26And sometimes it happens, right? Maybe he had a bad meal.
50:29He just had a bad day. Yeah, I think he had too many sloppy joes or something.
50:34I don't know what's going on. No, he's in May Fish and Chips he might have.
50:38Yeah. I mean, listen, Josh Downs still had a 95% target share.
50:42Another weird sort of game. The commanders defense actually played pretty well and then it all fell apart.
50:47But yeah, it's a nutty one when Ashton Doolin and Laquan Treadwell both get more targets.
50:51Daniel Jones did not play well in this game.
50:54Also fair. Jonathan Taylor had a big game, obviously.
50:56They ran, did whatever they want. I don't think, I don't know that my commanders deserve to win this game.
51:02The refs definitely did not help them out though.
51:04There was, there was some, oh, that offensive interference call on Stefan Diggs, that was a BS call.
51:10Like, you know, the Antonio Williams call, you know, huge touchdown for Antonio Williams called back for like an illegal shift which was like, yeah, I don't know.
51:18It just, those two calls there was a holding on that play too.
51:21Yeah, two penalties. it's ticky tack. It's all ticky tack.
51:24There's a hold also. Again, I'm just saying, I don't know that my commanders deserve to win.
51:29I'm as big of a fan of the box of Obama as anyone, but they did not deserve to win that game.
51:35I agree. I just said that. I'm not arguing that they have, they were not the better team.
51:40My commanders are brutal, but the refs definitely didn't help them out.
51:44Still, Josh Downs again, 95% route participation. I'm going to bet on him more often than not.
51:48He'll be fine. Bad day at the office. Good headshot.
51:51You know what? At the end of the season, I'm going to rank the headshots.
51:55Top of 20. There you go. And all three is ranked.
51:59Exactly. Okay, so we know that the Chiefs lost Rice, but that was an early one.
52:03And then Travis Kelsey only had 15 yards. You would have thought that would change.
52:07How worried are you about that? I'm not. Over the last two weeks, I get it.
52:12It's just 12% target share, one game with more than five targets so far this season.
52:16You know, he actually, I feel like he's actually been, you know, this is what he is.
52:21He hasn't been massively involved in the offense. He's just had a couple of big plays.
52:26Splashing plays. Which is what Travis Kelsey does, right?
52:28They find him in a seam and then a lot of yards after the catch.
52:33But especially, by the way, with Tyquan Thornton, looks like he's probably going to be at a significant time.
52:38That was a tough one. And if Rasheed Rice is, if this hamstring injury is going to put him out for a
52:44decent period of time, I think Kelsey will get back to it.
52:48Look, Kelsey is a low-end, touchdown-dependent, tight end one, which is what he was drafted as.
52:52No doubt. Like, you know, if you were ranking the tight ends for the rest of the season, he's probably inside the top 12, but barely.
52:59So, like, we like this offense and I think more opportunities are coming Kelsey's way.
53:04The two pass catchers with the most chemistry with Mahomes, Rasheed Rice, is out now, which leaves us to Travis Kelsey.
53:10We know that this Bay enemy offense with Reed, it's all about kind of sitting in windows and being on the same page.
53:16They play so well off script where he's just kind of like playing backyard football in a sense.
53:21I think that chemistry is still there. Obviously, he's not in his prime, but we saw what he did week one, early in the season.
53:28So, I think that's still there and with Rasheed out, they're going to have to rely on Travis.
53:33Chief's on a bye this week as well, so maybe they get a little bit more time to sort of get a
53:40little bit more in sync as well. Again, bring in Tyreek.
53:43Like, vintage Chiefs. God, you really think that's going to happen?
53:46Like, if you had to pick a side yes or no.
53:49I think they will. On what? On Tyreek. Do you think that he's going Kansas City?
53:54I had to pick a side yes. Would you pick him up right now and stash him?
53:58Yeah, why not? Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. If he's fully healthy, like, they say he's available.
54:03Today they sign him. Would you consider a flex play there?
54:06Well, we will get into our waiver wire, our early look-ad waiver wire on the next segment, but yes.
54:11Will we now? Yeah, but to your point, because he's not on an NFL team, Tyreek Hill is somebody that you could
54:17grab right now before you go through waivers. So, so, so, yes, if you have somebody that hasn't played, like in tonight's
54:24game or whatever, if you have somebody that you can drop or you play on Yahoo where they let you drop players,
54:30you know, from your bench, might be interesting. He's definitely an interesting stash.
54:33There's no question. Tyreek Hill. I'm with it. I'm picking him up.
54:37Stash him. You don't know that you can. Sunday Scaries, done.
54:40When we come back, last call. Let's see. We are back before we get into our bets for tonight.
54:45We got an early look. Week five, waiver wire, Matthew.
54:48Yeah, for sure. So, Emmanuel Wilson, let's be honest, should have been picked up last week in most competitive leagues, but if
54:54he's still out there in yours, he would be my number one add, right?
54:58Again, we don't know yet the severity of Saquon Barkley's injury.
55:01Tank Bigsby also left the game, but both Bigsby and Will Shipley need to be added until we get more clarity on the situation.
55:08Again, Eagles on a bye this week. How about Keon Coleman and Trey Harris?
55:12They're the two wide receivers who should see a big uptick in usage of DJ Moore and Ladd McConkie miss any time
55:18and sticking with the Chargers, how about Keaton Mitchell?
55:21Saw season high 15 touches in week four. Continue to see his role grow as Hampton, Omarion Hampton's role grows down even though Hampton scored the touchdown late.
55:29Mitchell needs to be rostered in way more leagues.
55:32Okay, that's your early look. We do have a game tonight, Mo.
55:35What do you have put a dollar or something?
55:37Well, I'll tell you what, I'm one for one so far.
55:41Are you keeping track? You should. Yeah, no, 100% by the way.
55:44What was your other one? Roman Wilson touchdown. Oh God, you're right.
55:47On Thursday night, Roman Wilson cashed as did my Deshaun Watson over on the rushing attempt.
55:52Mine did not cash, DK Metcalf, almost. Yes, almost.
55:54So we went two for three on the Thursday night game.
55:58Let's see what we can do on the Monday night football game.
56:01Mo, what is your best bet for tonight? Draco London, the investigator, is it?
56:05Detective Draco London. Detective Draco London. That was brutal.
56:07Wow, it's the same. He went with investigator. I mean, it's the same.
56:11That's so dumb. People are saying Drake London has a functioning penix, which I would not go that far.
56:17Yeah. But he does. Beetle's face is... You get it?
56:19Just people are saying I would not. I can explain it to you.
56:23I would not go that far. But... It's all about me.
56:26Poor Beetle. Again, get into her DMs, guys. That's all we're asking.
56:30Actually, I have a pet peeve. What's that? Go ahead, do your bet.
56:33What is it? No, because he did this last week and now there are people in the DMs and I'm antisocial.
56:39Let's just keep that. What are the DMs? Nothing gross, weirdo.
56:42I'm just asking. No cartoons, if that's what you're asking.
56:45The boys, they love the Beetle. That's what it is.
56:48Yeah, anytime touchdown. Was it last 10 games with Michael Penix?
56:5110.4 targets, 6.9 receptions and over 100 yards. Give me the touchdown.
56:54Okay. Okay. Anytime touchdown for Drake London is your best bet.
56:58I'm also going with an anytime touchdown, but give me Juwan Johnson.
57:01Oh, I'm next. Oh, you are? I was just following the screen.
57:04I just saw mine. All right. Well, no, because I think you were supposed to, but then I saw my screen.
57:10Also, you should go last. It's your show. All right, I will go second.
57:14Go ahead. I screwed that up. So here's a little secret.
57:17When I pick the over for a game, that's really me just putting it in the atmosphere, like wishful thinking.
57:23Like, I'd like this to be like a shootout and lots and lots of points.
57:27I believe it's 47 and a half is the over for this one.
57:31So I'm taking, yeah, yeah, I'm going to take that because why not?
57:35Entertain us. don't bet on the under. No, that's boring.
57:38Life's too short to bet on the under. And then, okay, finally, now it's my turn.
57:42Sorry, I went out of order, but yes, as I said, Jawan Johnson, who everyone knows, is a legend, is a legend
57:48in the league of, anyway, I'm not allowed to say it on Roku, but anyway, you guys know the league I'm talking about.
57:55Anyway, Jawan Johnson, give me a Jawan Johnson anytime touchdown here through three games.
57:59The Falcons have allowed three touchdowns to opposing tight ends.
58:02By the way, Jawan Johnson, a 40% end zone target share for the Saints, you know, so they look for him quite a bit in the end zone.
58:09Falcons give up a lot of touchdowns to opposing tight ends, so ergo, ipso facto, therefore, Jawan Johnson anytime touchdown is my best bet for tonight.
58:17They've been shucking around, so. Yeah. I feel good about this.
58:20Yeah, shuck it around, find out. All right. Listen, you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.
58:26That does it for happy hour. We are back tomorrow.
58:28Mo Hassan, Michelle Beadle, myself, Matthew Berry. Good luck.
58:31May your Monday night miracles come through.
