A.J. Brown

NegativeProjection30:31

Prize Picks projections have Brown as the favorite for receiving yards among Bears receivers at 44.5 yards, though the projection is not particularly strong.

Insight page

Aaron Jones

PositiveProjection54:24

Aaron Jones has been a top-24 running back in all four weeks of the season; he is sneakily part of the Packers operation despite not having the best quarterback in football, but the team has a great defense and runs the ball effectively, which supports his consistent production.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeMatchup51:57

Alvin Kamara is a probable pivot in most situations for the Saints against Minnesota; Pittsburgh. Then would not touch a running back on New Orleans with a thousand-foot pole against the Vikings, whose defense is ranked number one against running backs.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

PositiveSleeper64:45

Antonio Williams is a sneaky start this week; the source moved him into their Scotty Fish lineup for bi-week situations, indicating confidence in his play.

Insight page

Bo Nix

PositiveMatchup9:39

Bo Nix faces the Chargers defense (24th in pressure rate, 24th in explosive pass rate allowed, 25th in yards per attempt), which should work in his favor; the Broncos lack a real running game but have 10 targets to RJ Harvey, benefiting a player like Bo Nix who can take advantage of short checkdowns and targets to the running back position.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup9:49

Bo Nix faces the Chargers as a road underdog (Chargers are 3.5-point favorites). Pressure is what messes up Nix the most, and the Chargers defense should be able to generate that pressure, making this a difficult matchup for the rookie quarterback.

Insight page
PositiveRole10:10

Sean Payton is expected to take over play-calling duties this week for Bo Nix, moving away from Davis Webb's involvement; this represents a significant shift in offensive control that could benefit Nix's performance.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveUsage41:38

Braylon Allen was a full workhorse in the game referenced, indicating heavy workload and lead-back role.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeInjury64:59

Breece Hall was not seen at practice for the Jets; Braylon is expected to be the primary back again.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

PositiveProjection28:28

Brenton Strange went crazy last week and had a touchdown-like drop play that, if it connects, would have made him fine; this suggests strong recent production and opportunity in the Jacksonville offense despite the missed play.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeUsage28:48

Brian Thomas Jr. caught a touchdown last week but the speaker is not looking to start him, indicating that a single touchdown does not change the overall assessment of his role and opportunity in the Jacksonville offense.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveRole47:43

Bowers is a consolidation play in the Raiders offense; analysts are not afraid to start him confidently as part of Kubiak's impressive offensive system.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

PositiveProjection30:15

Watson and Golden Tate are locked into lineups for good; the offense is running downhill effectively and it's hard to see that stopping.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeRole0:20

Lamb's return to the Dallas offense has shifted target distribution; last week he received heavy volume, prompting some fantasy managers to fear Pickens's role has diminished. However, the hosts contextualize this as a single-game variance rather than a permanent role redefinition. Lamb's presence does not eliminate Pickens's value, as the two can coexist in the offense.

Insight page

Chris Bell

NegativeInjury22:25

Chris Bell showed up as questionable on the injury report, making him unavailable as a reliable start option this week.

Insight page

Chris Brooks

NegativeInjury33:12

Chris Brooks is not practicing and is out, which opens a path for Marshawn Lloyd to get five-plus targets in the Packers running game.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeInjury51:57

Chris Olave did not practice on Wednesday and left early on Monday night, but the Saints have stated it is a rest day, not a knee issue, citing the short week; however, if Olave does not practice again on Thursday, Pittsburgh. Then will be worried about the knee; Olave will be started no matter what if active, despite the matchup against Minnesota being poor and other factors potentially going bad.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeInjury22:02

DJ Moore is conditionally playable if he clears the injury report; the speaker would start him over Marvin Harrison Jr. if available.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveMatchup29:59

Swift is mentioned as part of Chicago's running back duo (with Montgomery) that can dominate possession against Green Bay; the Packers are dead last against running backs, giving up 8.8 fantasy points more than expected, making this a run-down-your-throat type of game for Swift.

Insight page

Darius Cooper

PositiveUsage23:01

Darius Cooper had 28% of targets last week and has scored three touchdowns; speaker is 'kind of in on' Cooper as a touchdown-dependent play in a three-way Eagles receiver comparison (vs. Wicks and Lemon).

Insight page
PositiveSleeper23:10

Darius Cooper is getting picked up in leagues as a waiver wire option, likely due to Philadelphia's receiver injuries (DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley) creating opportunity.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup27:24

Darius Cooper is mentioned as a start option for Week 5 alongside Damien Pierce, though no specific reasoning or usage data is provided in the transcript.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveMatchup29:59

Montgomery is mentioned as part of Chicago's running back duo with Swift that can dominate possession against Green Bay; the Packers are dead last against running backs, giving up 8.8 fantasy points more than expected, making this a favorable matchup for Montgomery.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury22:46

DeVonta Smith could miss multiple weeks and is unlikely to play in the London matchup against Jacksonville, further depleting Philadelphia's receiving corps.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveMatchup7:21

Metcalf faces the Steelers this week in a matchup that should produce dominant performances. His target share is expected to be significant, and he looks physically imposing—described as appearing too large for his position—suggesting he should dominate in this favorable setup.

Insight page
PositiveMatchup62:36

DK Metcalf is an OK play this week against a defense that can be targeted; the source prefers him over Josh Downs as a start.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection32:12

Drake Maye is ranked 7th in weekly QB projections, one spot ahead of Jordan Love at 8th; the over/under is better for Maye against Vegas, making him a preferred start over Love.

Insight page
PositiveProjection47:07

Drake Maye got his mojo back; he received nine targets and deep shots, scoring twice in the matchup against the Raiders.

Insight page

Eli Stowers

NegativeBust23:57

Eli Stowers was a swing-and-miss pick for Philadelphia; the speaker criticizes the selection as a missed opportunity for a pass-catching tight end.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveRole0:00

Despite CD Lamb's return and last week's target distribution favoring Lamb, Pickens remains Dallas's second receiving option with significant upside ahead. The hosts emphasize that one game where Lamb dominated targets does not redefine the offense; Pickens is not in competition with multiple pass-catchers like Jamison Williams faces in Detroit. From week seven onward last season, Pickens posted six of eight games at WR27 or lower despite a 150-target pace stretch, reflecting his boom-bust archetype as a deep-ball threat rather than a consistent chain-mover. The conviction is strong: "Not only play George Pickens, trade for George Pickens. He's going to have bright, amazing days ahead."

Insight page
NegativeProjection5:47

Pickens was drafted as the wide receiver 10 this year; the source notes that for four weeks, at least one big performance was expected, and suggests it could happen in week five.

Insight page
PositiveProjection65:11

George Pickens is projected to have a strong performance tonight against the Cowboys; the sources provide stat line projections ranging from 4 catches for 74 yards (no TD) to 5 catches for 117 yards and a TD, with target projections of 7-8. The Cowboys offense is expected to put on 'an absolute show' with Dak playing great, though the offense has been more meticulous than big-play focused.

Insight page

Greg Dulcich

PositiveMatchup45:26

Against the Bengals defense, which gets killed by the tight end position, Dulcich should get five or more targets; a DFS situation for desperate roster managers.

Insight page

Ian Thomas

PositiveRole46:49

Thomas is part of the Raiders' tight end rotation in Kubiak's system, benefiting from play-action opportunities created by the improved offensive line and Jinty's usage.

Insight page

Isiah Pacheco

NegativeRole27:27

The speaker would play Shipley over Pacheco, indicating a preference for Shipley's role and opportunity in the passing game despite Pacheco's typical role.

Insight page

J.J. Taylor

PositiveRole51:28

If Ramondre Stevenson is unavailable, J.J. Taylor would see increased opportunities in the Patriots passing game, which excites Pittsburgh. Then about his potential usage.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveMatchup27:37

Dobbins is favored over Shipley for Week 5 start against Jacksonville, which ranks seventh against running backs; the speaker leans toward Dobbins despite Shipley's snap share, suggesting Dobbins' role and matchup are more favorable.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeInjury21:54

Jamar Chase is unavailable as a start option this week due to injury uncertainty; the speaker notes he might not play, ruling him out despite being a top-tier receiver.

Insight page
NegativeInjury42:01

Jamar Chase is going through concussion protocol, creating uncertainty for Week 5 start decisions.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

PositiveMatchup9:00

Brissett is a strong streamer/spot-start option this week. Detroit allows over 300 passing yards per game, and recent top-five finishes at the position against the Lions include Josh Allen, Gino Smith, and Bryce Young. Brissett should be confident in this matchup if you need a spot start at quarterback.

Insight page

Jalen Coker

PositiveInjury6:49

The Panthers are hopeful Jalen Coker will be ready to return to action following the week five bye; he is currently out alongside Darren Waller and Chuba Hubbard.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeMatchup11:18

Jaylen Hurts is facing Jacksonville in Week 5, mentioned as a potential start option alongside other quarterback considerations.

Insight page
NegativeProjection23:18

Jalen Hurts is not a startable fantasy asset in single-quarterback leagues this week, particularly given Jacksonville's strong defensive performance and Philadelphia's depleted offensive weapons.

Insight page
NegativeProjection24:14

Jalen Hurts' PrizePicks projection is 193.5 passing yards, his lowest of 2026, while averaging 176 yards per game; the Eagles' offensive efficiency is heavily dependent on scoring near the 'tush push zone,' limiting upside when not in red zone territory.

Insight page

Jalen Nailor

NegativeInjury47:47

Jalen Naylor suffered a concussion last week, creating uncertainty around his availability.

Insight page
NegativeInjury47:47

Jalen Naylor got a concussion last week, creating uncertainty for his availability.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeRole0:24

Williams is used as a comparative archetype to Pickens: both are deep-ball, boom-bust receivers rather than consistent chain-movers. Williams faces greater receiving competition in Detroit (Laporta, Ferguson, Gibbs, Javante in the passing game), whereas Pickens operates as a clearer second option in Dallas. This distinction highlights why Pickens may have more consistent opportunity despite similar volatility profiles.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection8:28

Goff has been on fire through the first month of the season, ranking second in passing yards, tied for second in passing touchdowns, and third in completions. Facing Arizona's non-existent defense, Goff should be started with confidence as a top-five quarterback on the year.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeProjection32:12

Daniels is ranked behind both Drake Maye and Jordan Love in weekly QB projections at 9th, though the speaker expects Daniels to move up once systems go is confirmed.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveRole7:39

Matt LaFleur says Jeremiah Love's ankle injury should not impact him for week five against the Lions. The source identifies Love as a start/sit conundrum this year due to favorable matchups and expected workload if the injury truly doesn't limit him; one Pittsburgh. Then would play Love over both Jacob Dobbins and Ollie Gordon, and would play Love over Ollie Gordon against Cincinnati.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveRole63:49

Jonathan Taylor is the primary path to winning for the Colts offense this week; the source emphasizes running the ball with Taylor as much as possible given Daniel Jones' poor passing performance and accuracy issues.

Insight page

Jordan Love

NegativeProjection32:12

Love is ranked 8th in weekly QB projections, one spot behind Drake Maye at 7th; the speaker has Love higher in their projections but would play Bo Nix as start of the week over Love.

Insight page
NegativeProjection32:36

Love has not hit 20 fantasy points yet this year; his weekly scores have been 19.5, 13.8, 18.5, 13.1, and just under 20 in week one with 3 TDs and 2 INTs, showing inconsistency despite the strong offense around him.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveMatchup62:41

Josh Downs is a scary start this week despite being on the field for almost every snap last week; Daniel Jones' poor accuracy (56 percent) and overall performance coming off an Achilles injury means there's nobody reliable to target in the receiving game, making Downs a risky play.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveInjury10:17

Justin Jefferson says he plans to play in week five against the Saints; final decision has not been made, but he said he feels great.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

NegativeMatchup51:57

Juwan Johnson is the tight end three on the year for the Saints, but Pittsburgh. Then ranks him as the 12th-best tight end option for Week 5 against Minnesota's elite defense, which is ranked number six against tight ends; Pittsburgh. Then would play Colston Loveland, Isaiah Likely, and Fanon over him, and only considers Johnson viable if the Saints fall behind and garbage-time opportunities emerge.

Insight page

Kenyon Sadiq

NegativeValue42:48

Kenyon Sadiq is in a tier where Mike Gesicki would be preferred as a start option, suggesting limited confidence in Sadiq's Week 5 upside.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

PositiveProjection46:08

With the Raiders' improved offensive line anchored by Tyler Linderbaum acquisition, Cousins is pressured the second least among any quarterback in football; he's leading the league in touchdown passes because he can stand back and pick apart defenses.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeInjury7:06

Lamar Jackson did not practice on Wednesday ahead of Sunday night football; reporting indicated that if he practices on Thursday, he has a chance to play, but if not, he will not play. The assumption is that it's an uphill battle for him to play due to a mysterious, unorthodox ankle injury that is neither high nor low.

Insight page
NegativeInjury64:30

Lamar Jackson was not seen participating in practice again, indicating continued injury concerns.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

NegativeProjection33:12

Marshawn Lloyd finished as RB34 last week, which is not in the top 30; despite the opportunity from Brooks being out, Lloyd's production remains disappointing.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeBust21:21

Marvin Harrison Jr. was dropped as a landmine by the Falcon; the speaker is forced to consider starting him over Trey Harris despite uncertainty, indicating significant disappointment relative to draft capital and expectations.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveRole46:49

Mayer is part of an impressive offensive product under Kubiak's system with the Raiders, benefiting from play-action opportunities created by Jinty's do-everything back role and the improved offensive line.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeInjury6:36

Pittman re-injured his foot and is expected to miss multiple weeks. The injury creates an impossible situation for the receiver, as playing on a compromised foot severely limits effectiveness.

Insight page

Mike Gesicki

PositiveRole42:28

Mike Gesicki has a decent matchup against Miami; in seven games without Tee Higgins since 2024, he averages 49 receiving yards per game and has almost always come through when Tee is out. The speaker recommends starting him, noting he deserves a start and would throw him in over tier options like Kenyon Sadiq.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

NegativeRole50:42

Mike Washington Jr. is in consideration for flex play if Ramondre Stevenson is unavailable, with the speaker indicating a preference for Washington over Damien Pierce in that scenario.

Insight page

Najee Harris

PositiveRole20:30

With Jaylen Warren banged up and wearing a non-contact jersey, Najee Harris becomes a viable handcuff and start option in most leagues; Pittsburgh recommends adding Harris if you have Warren to ensure a start.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

PositiveRole8:40

Ollie Gordon is preferred over Jacob Dobbins in start/sit decisions; one Pittsburgh. Then would play Gordon over Dobbins but would play Jeremiah Love over Gordon against Cincinnati.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup41:50

Ollie Gordon was discussed as a start option against the Broncos, with speaker expressing some concern about the Jets' slow pace of play affecting his fantasy value.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeUsage28:08

Parker Washington had only three targets last week with one catch for seven yards; the speaker describes this as a disaster and is not looking to start him, indicating poor production and limited opportunity in the Jacksonville offense.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

NegativeInjury50:19

Ramondre Stevenson was limited on Wednesday with a knee injury that could rule him out this week. Over the last two weeks, he has struggled with production: eight carries for 23 yards and 14 carries for 42 yards, indicating both injury impact and reduced efficiency.

Insight page
NegativeInjury51:28

Ramondre Stevenson's potential absence would open opportunities for Henderson in the Patriots passing game; Matt Collins suffered a non-contact calf injury this past week that warrants monitoring.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveUsage12:21

RJ Harvey received 17 opportunities in the past week with 10 targets, which is significant value; the Broncos offense is heavily reliant on checkdowns and short passes to the running back position, making Harvey a beneficiary of Bo Nix's play-calling style.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

PositiveBreakout7:05

Roman Wilson is a fascinating stash who has been playing very well despite modest snap share (around 30%). With Pittman sidelined, Wilson could see increased target volume and opportunity to emerge as a secondary option in the Cardinals offense.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveUsage30:37

Rome is out there for the most snaps in single wide receiver sets and is getting the targets; he's the lead option in the Bears wide receiver room.

Insight page
NegativeProjection30:38

Rome is projected at 38.5 receiving yards on Prize Picks, trailing A.J. Brown's 44.5-yard projection.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

PositiveProjection48:20

Romeo Dobbs had a couple of touchdowns in the recent game, suggesting the Patriots offense is starting to figure things out with Drake Maye at quarterback.

Insight page
PositiveProjection51:41

Romeo Dobbs received nine targets against the Raiders, gets deep shots, and scored twice; if Matt Collins is out, Dobbs becomes a top-24 must-play tight end despite the Raiders holding wide receivers under expectations.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury22:46

Saquon Barkley suffered an injury this week, contributing to Philadelphia's offensive weapons crisis heading into a London matchup against Jacksonville.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeInjury64:36

Stefan Diggs is dealing with a hamstring injury and working on the side field during practice.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

NegativeInjury22:46

Tank Bigsby is on injured reserve, removing him from Philadelphia's offensive equation for the London matchup against Jacksonville.

Insight page
NegativeRole26:26

Tank Bigsby is mentioned in context of the Eagles' running back depth chart discussion; he is ranked ahead of Damien Pierce in the Eagles' backfield hierarchy, suggesting he is the preferred option over Pierce.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeInjury42:05

Tee Higgins did not practice with a groin injury, creating potential absence for Week 5 matchup against Miami.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeInjury64:41

Terry McLaurin was not seen at practice and may miss another week due to injury.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveMatchup48:05

Tucker had eight targets last week and faces the Patriots with three cornerbacks absent from Wednesday's practice report, including Christian Gonzalez, making him a very interesting play.

Insight page
PositiveUsage48:05

Trey Tucker drew eight targets last week. The matchup becomes particularly interesting if New England cornerback Christian Gonzalez is unavailable, as three Patriots cornerbacks were absent from Wednesday's practice report including Gonzalez, creating a favorable receiving environment.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeProjection64:12

Tyler Warren was expected to blow up last week but failed to deliver; despite recent stat lines of 13, 21, 55, and 41 yards, he did not produce as anticipated. The Steelers offense outside of Jonathan Taylor is described as 'stinky,' limiting Warren's upside.

Insight page

Tyson Bagent

NegativeRole29:01

Tyson Bagent is the backup quarterback starting for Chicago against Green Bay; Chicago is road favorites at minus one and a half despite having a backup quarterback, which is notable context for offensive production.

Insight page

Will Shipley

NegativeRole26:33

Will Shipley is the focal point of Eagles running back discussion; the Eagles front office is withholding carries from Shipley despite his talent, suggesting a committee or limited-touch approach rather than a workhorse role.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury64:30

Zay Flowers did not practice but the injury is a new foot issue, not a hamstring concern, which is good news for his availability outlook.

0:00Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Wright.
0:05Welcome in! Football time! Do something George! Here we get Dallas tonight.
0:09Please! Thursday, October 8th, 2026. George, I see the money slipping away.
0:13I see it falling through your hands, George. He's gonna be fine.
0:16I know, I know! He's always been inconsistent. Like, we had a fake consistent stretch last year where it was like, oh, he's the guy.
0:24It's just, this is who he is. Well, I mean, he was the guy when there was no CD.
0:30Right, that was the big stretch. He was good when CD was there as well.
0:35But not consistent. Right. Thus, those last two weeks where everyone was like, oh, George has quit on the team.
0:41I mean, I think it is unfortunately a fair conversation to have about like, he was always inconsistent with Pittsburgh.
0:47Then you're the dude for Dak, which is a big upgrade to anything you had in Pittsburgh.
0:53Perhaps. And then CD came back. I mean, calling someone inconsistent playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers when they have absolute hot doo-doo trash throwing you the ball.
1:01I'm not calling him anything. I'm just speaking. Jason is.
1:04I'm speaking statistically. Well, yeah. I mean, I'm saying he was inconsistent.
1:08Yes. I only said that because he was inconsistent.
1:11So, his reasons for being inconsistent, I don't know.
1:14But I also think it's not just the doo-doo trash garbage throwing him the ball, which was for sure doo-doo trash.
1:20Thank you. It was bad. But it's also his archetype.
1:24Like, the same reason that Jamison Williams is not going to, you know, he's not the every third down possession, you know, chain mover type guy.
1:32He's the run down the field, catch amazing, crazy cool, fantasy relevant bombs.
1:36Four of the last six games, he was wide receiver 30 or later last year.
1:41Which is crazy. Because he had a, he was the wide receiver five on the year.
1:46Yeah. But maybe we saw, I mean, you go back to about week seven.
1:50Which games were you saying? Well, just, just go from week seven.
1:54So week seven, you had one, two, three, four, five, six, six of eight at 27 or lower.
1:59So I think that is archetype. And then you had the super high volume in that five week stretch where that's 150 target pace.
2:07Also from week seven on all those bad games you talked about.
2:11Play George Pickens. Three times in the top five.
2:14Yeah. He's awesome. Not only play George Pickens, trade for George Pickens.
2:17Yeah. He's going to have bright, amazing days ahead.
2:20And right now I think some people are afraid that, especially after last week where CD got everything, where it's just like, oh, we were wrong.
2:28This is CD's team and George is not involved.
2:31That's not the truth either. Yeah. I mean, this is not JMO because JMO has more competition in a lot of regards
2:38in terms of Laporta, greater sign Ferguson, Gibbs, greater sign Javante in the receiving game.
2:43Like Pickens is the second fiddle. JMO can be the fifth fiddle.
2:47Yeah. If the game goes the wrong way. That's not beating the devil.
2:51No, no, it's not. We have so much to talk about today.
2:54NFL news to get into starts of the week, tons of matchups for week five.
2:59Lots going on. A lot of like injury situations that are just like murky and quiet right now.
3:05So it's important if you have an injured player, you'll want to tune in on Friday to our injury blitz podcast hosted by our injury expert, Matthew Betts.
3:14It comes out in the afternoons on Friday after the final practice reports are released.
3:18We'll get you up to date as much as we can today on stuff.
3:23The communities over at join the foot dot com.
3:26That's how you get access to that podcast. A bonus episode of this show every week.
3:31The ultimate dashboard, which is an elite tool to get your lineups right for all your leagues.
3:36You can import from every platform and optimize your lineups.
3:39We've got all the in season tools and all that at join the foot dot com.
3:44Let's talk some news and notes from around the league.
3:47Yeah. Brooks does point out the fact that, you know, Pickens was drafted as the wide receiver 10 this year, whereas like
3:54J most drafted in the fifth round, third round, fifth round.
3:58Yeah, because I mean, that's that's right. For four weeks, you expected at least at least one bada boom from George.
4:04It could happen tonight. So it shall excited. We shall speak it into existence.
4:09There you go. The Panthers are hopeful Jalen Coker will be ready to return to action following the week five by.
4:15So they're on by this week. You don't get tat after his huge performance.
4:20No Darren Waller, no Chuba, no Coker, but they're hoping he's back.
4:23Which I mean, cool. It's good for Bryce Young.
4:26Good for the offense. Lamar Jackson did not practice on Wednesday.
4:30They're the Sunday night football game. Hopefully we have answers so that Mike doesn't have to panic attack.
4:35It was it was being reported that today is going to be like if he practices today, he's got a chance to play.
4:43If he doesn't practice today, he's not going to play.
4:46So I think we'll know well in advance. But the assumption is that it's an uphill battle for him to play because
4:53he has a mysterious type of ankle injury. It's unorthodox.
4:56It's not high. It's not low. It's just right.
4:59It's a Goldilocks ankle situation. Yeah. Matt LaFleur says Jeremiah loves ankle injury quote shouldn't impact him for week five against the Lions.
5:06So that that's helpful. That's helpful because Jeremiah love sure sounded like it was going to impact him.
5:11There's just some players like I have a league with Jeremiah love, right?
5:16I have to choose. Do I play Jacob Dobbins this week over love?
5:20Do I play Ollie Gordon this week over love?
5:22Like I think Jeremiah love is an actual like start set conundrum for this year because the matchup we love it.
5:29If LaFleur isn't a liar here that his ankle injury shouldn't impact him, then he should get a lot of work.
5:36Right. I watched those guys. I'd play love over both of those.
5:39I watched some practice videos. Which one in particular?
5:42Both. Certainly over J.K. Dobbins. Dobbins has been so bad.
5:45Put them in order is what I'm saying. Oh, of the three?
5:49Yeah. Would you play Ollie Gordon and love? I mean, I would definitely play Ollie Gordon ahead of J.K.
5:55Dobbins. Love. Even with the matchup. Would you play Jeremiah love or Aaron Jones asking for it?
6:00Aaron Jones. Oh, that one's wild. That one's an awesome play.
6:04Aaron Jones is a great. But you would play Jeremiah love over Ollie Gordon against Cincinnati?
6:09I personally would. All right. I'm going to make that change for my friend over here.
6:14I mean, it's all in your hands, Mike. Don't blame me.
6:17Justin Jefferson says he plans to play in week five against the Saints.
6:22Final decision has not been made, but he said he feels great.
6:25That's awesome. That's bad news for T.J. Hawkinson, who was the big one of the big waiver pickups this week.
6:32I think you can still start him. He is the matchup is OK and Kyler has obvious comfortability with him.
6:38That being said, don't expect if Jefferson is there for Hawkinson to go out there and get a dozen targets and 100 yards.
6:45That's that's just not in the cards. Yeah, those targets should go to.
6:49It rhymed. It did. They should go to Jefferson Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy said that the worst wide receiver of all time.
6:56According to Aaron Rodgers, Michael Pittman re injured his foot and is now expected to miss multiple weeks.
7:02Would you think that was like a misery Aaron Rodgers in the night?
7:06I think I think he yeah, he stepped on his foot.
7:10He's got plantar, man. He's been trying to get it out.
7:13It's just one of those like if you don't play your soft.
7:17If you go out there and you have a bum foot, you're like that guy bad.
7:22Yeah, no, I agree. It's an impossible situation for Pittman.
7:25But Roman Wilson, the Metcalf targets to continue. Roman.
7:28Roman Wilson is a fascinating stash. He's been playing very well.
7:31I know he's not getting like the peripherals aren't.
7:34It's like 30% snaps or something. Yeah, they aren't outrageously great.
7:38But maybe with if Pittman is for sure out of the way.
7:41Roman Jeremy Bernard. Yeah, the matchup for the Steelers and Aaron Rodgers this week is not just dominating Metcalf performances coming up.
7:48Just we all know. We all know what the target share will be dominance.
7:53He looks what about the catch? I tell you he looks too big for his pets.
7:58He really does. He looks like like if a kid tried to dress up as a football player because I mean, he's just gigantic.
8:05I always look at him. I'm like you. You are.
8:08He is a weird man in that side. He should dominate.
8:12He came back. He should dominate. He should. That is true.
8:15All right. We got starts. Starts of the week brought to you by Apple Card.
8:20All right. The starts of the week for week five starting at quarterback.
8:24Jason will let you lead the way. I'm going to stay in the flames.
8:28Jared Goff has been on fire. Oh, yeah. In Arizona.
8:32It's a massive over under through the first month of the season.
8:35Goff is second passing yards tied for second passing touchdowns third and completions.
8:39Arizona's defense doesn't exist. So, yeah. I mean, if you have been playing Jared Goff, congratulations.
8:45Continue to do so with confidence. Quarterback five on the year.
8:48Mike, who do you have at quarterback? It's my streamer from streamer to starter.
8:52Yes. And you picked him up everywhere and it pisses me off because I needed him in a couple places and you
8:59just you, Fookland, Mike believes in the start of the week.
9:03Yeah. You literally every single league we're in picked him up.
9:06Look, this is what I'm giving the advice. I am not just talking about it.
9:11I'm living it. So if this fails, Fookland, I fail with you.
9:15But it really should not. Although the entire process here, it's Jacoby Brissett in that game.
9:20Jay, you laid it all out and I did on the stream of the week as well.
9:25But the highlights Detroit allowing over 300 passing yards per game.
9:29The guys who put up top five finishes, Shuck Daddy, Josh Allen, Gino Smith, Bryce Young.
9:34I feel confident enough in Jacoby this week. I like both your starts more than mine.
9:39But if you got Mahomes, Bryce Young, somebody on by, you need a spot start.
9:43You don't like Herbert. This one's wild because yes, it should work.
9:47Bo Nix. Bo Nix against the Chargers. They're three and a half point road favorites.
9:52Chargers defense right now. What messes up Bo Nix the most?
9:55Pressure does. 24th in pressure rate. 24th in explosive pass rate allowed.
9:5925th in yards per attempt. Not a real running game to like, you know, we forget the 10 targets to the running
10:06through the air with RJ Harvey that benefits a player like Bo Nix.
10:10So I think Bo Nix is on Payton taking over play.
10:13Yes. I think the most recent report is that he would be more heavily involved in play calling duties.
10:19According to Ian Rappaport, the way that I will remain collaborative.
10:23Yeah. With Davis Webb continuing to be a major voice in the game day and during the week.
10:29Here's what I genuinely believe is the case. I believe Sean Payton is going to fully take over play calling duty this week.
10:36And because the next following week is a short week, he's going to say, hey, Davis, I'm not taking it all over.
10:43You do next week. You can prepare. I'll do this week.
10:46Next week is the Seahawks. And so it's good.
10:49He's just putting Davis Webb out there to die like, oh, I got to take it back again.
10:55You didn't do good against the Seahawks. Does Sean Payton make Davis Webb call him coach?
11:00For sure. Or Mr. Payton. Yeah. The same way that, yes, chef.
11:03You ever heard Sean Payton talk before? Yeah. Oh, I have.
11:07That's why I'm asking the question. He's not a dude who gives up power very easily.
11:12Like, yeah. Hey, coach. Instead of Sean. I have Jalen Hurts, Tyler Shuck and Bo Nix in my dynasty.
11:18Oh. Andy, are you telling me as the start of the week you would?
11:22Shuck is against Minnesota, right? Yes. And Jalen Hurts is against himself.
11:26He's against Suck. I mean, that's the Jacksonville matchup.
11:29No, I would play Bo Nix. That's who I have in my lineup right now.
11:34You have him in dynasty? Yeah. Running back starts of the week, Jason.
11:38I've got in that Jalen Hurts game, Bayshel Tootin.
11:41He's averaging 17 opportunities a game. I know the Eagles defense is good.
11:45They look awesome. You know, they're scary on paper.
11:47But they were destroyed by Kyron Williams last year.
11:50They are tied for second. Last year? Last week.
11:53I pulled an Andy there. I've done that before.
11:56Tied for second most rushing touchdowns allowed so far this season.
11:59They're 28th in yards after contact per attempt. So I think Tootin is fine here.
12:04I wouldn't be scared off of the matchup. He's getting enough opportunities and you just love the Jags offense.
12:10And the Tootin breakout. We're just on the verge.
12:13I know. He's played so well. Like eye test, fantastic.
12:16Advanced metrics, fantastic. Total fantasy points, just lacking. But he feels like we're there, man.
12:21He still hasn't been bad. Like last week, 10 fantasy points.
12:24You're not excited. Right. But it's like that's not killing you.
12:28That's not killing you while he's not breaking out.
12:30He's been absolutely fine. So we do trade for him?
12:34Yes. All right, Mike. Who's your running back? It's gross, but I'm waving the white flag here of the Denver Broncos backfield.
12:41RJ Harvey, 17 opportunities this past week. And it was a, we know that that matchup, we're getting a lot of targets
12:47to the running back position, but 10 targets. Target is worth so much more.
12:52The disgusting nature of the Broncos offense. It's because Bo Nix is throwing it down, just checking it down real short.
12:58And I don't know why. Boring points. Yeah, they're boring points, but I'm, I'm just going to accept them from RJ Harvey against the Chargers this week.
13:07All right. My running back start of the week.
13:10It's an and or situation or, and or both.
13:13Yeah, no, I, that's, you know, Swift and Monungay.
13:15Mm-hmm. Just Monungay. Just Swift. Swamongay. Uh, they're both.
13:18Swamongay. Here's the thing. They get to play the Green Bay Packers.
13:22Miffed. And the bears identity has been to run the football without Caleb Williams.
13:2630 carries for common. I got last week. He hurt his thumb.
13:30Swift coming off the hamstring. Both guys didn't practice history.
13:33There was a point this week where Jason and I just had, he had Swift.
13:38I had Monungay at starts of the week with the practice reports were like, Hey, let's just go bears running back bears running back this week.
13:46I mean, I think my non guys, the better pure runner.
13:50I think Deandre Swift obviously had some more versatility.
13:52Last week was dominant for Monungay. Um, on the year 5.4 and 4.5 a carry.
13:57Yeah. That's like the, uh, that's, that's insane. So great rush success rate, but Monungay is on fire.
14:03If they're both active and I had to choose one, I would choose Monungay this week.
14:08I'm less worried about a thumb than a hamstring taking you off the field.
14:12Swift. He fumbled, right? Yeah. And he fumbled, but he had 35% of snaps.
14:17Like that was his total for the game. So, and that happened in the third quarter.
14:22I, I imagine that the limitations cause we thought Swift could miss the game are there as well.
14:27Yeah. I, I find starting either one, both and or at wide receiver, Michael Wilson, we, you know, to pair with Jacoby
14:34Brissett over there with Mike, you want pieces in this Detroit game 54 and a half point over under lion secondary is bad.
14:42And the important thing is Michael Wilson is what we saw at the end of last year with Parker Washington and Michael Wilson.
14:49It was like, is this real? Well, they looked great.
14:52They passed the eye test and they had great runs of fantasy success, but coming into this season, will it stick around?
14:59The answer is yes. The answer is they're the best wide receiver on their team.
15:0430 targets, the last two weeks. You got to keep starting Michael Wilson.
15:08They through the first two weeks, they tried not to, right?
15:11Yeah. Like the Arizona Cardinals was like, we're going to try and be more balanced.
15:16We'll spread it out just seven targets in week one, seven targets a week two.
15:20And then what? 30 over the past two weeks.
15:23And if you heard, you know, the floor came out yesterday and talked extensively about how impressed he is with Michael Wilson
15:30and how much better he has gotten. Like well, that's for sure.
15:34But I think one of the things that's been said before is, Hey, he's always going to be the second target to train McBride.
15:42Yep. Hasn't been the case so far this year.
15:44Like McBride's had a couple of like medium weeks and the targets have gone Michael Wilson's way.
15:50It's a culminator factor taking place in Arizona where when you throw the ball to Michael Wilson, it is a high probability
15:57play compared to going, you know, certainly to Marvin Harrison or Kendrick Bourne.
16:01So I love it. I think he is ascending and I think the matchup is just another way to cement himself.
16:07Mike, who do you got? I'm going Devante Adams against the Buffalo Bills.
16:11We had a down week. Puka's back. Yada, yada, yada.
16:15I still believe in Devante Adams. I mean, like weirdness.
16:18He's yet to see a target inside the tent.
16:21Devante Adams, last year's goal line wide receiver. That's very bizarre.
16:24And then the matchup, the Buffalo Bills, the terrifying Buffalo Bills.
16:27Their defense is completely in shambles. 29th and explosive play rate allowed.
16:31We love that. And 31st is scheduled adjusted to the position.
16:35So I have no, I have no concerns that like, oh no, Puka's back.
16:39We're, we got to take the back seat. No, Devante Adams still a great play.
16:44Dropped the touchdown last week. He catches that ball.
16:47You don't have any perception of a down week.
16:49I'm going Pickens light at wide receiver start of the week.
16:53J-Mo. I'm taking Jamison this week against Arizona. You have to live with the ups and downs of Jamison Williams.
16:59I thought there was a concerted effort last week to get him more involved.
17:04Caught a big play down the field. Had some big first downs.
17:07Um, we saw this last year. I mean, he was at eight fancy points per game, similar reception or sorry, receiving yards
17:14per game before he took off last season. Where do you want to take off?
17:19How about Arizona dead last and schedule adjusted fancy points to wide receiver.
17:23None of us are going to sit here and say, Hey, play I'm on raw.
17:28He's an auto start every week, but Jamo this week against Arizona, who cannot defend the wide receiver position.
17:34You know, we lost will Johnson already on the year and doesn't have the depth secondary to control Jamo.
17:40I think it's a good start. Yeah. Tied in.
17:43I'm going with Colston Loveland. Oh baby. The, the current, you know, bust pick that, uh, was not helpful for the first month of the season.
17:51But last week started heating up at as many targets in that game as you have the entire season.
17:57His target share 10%, 12%, 29%. Most importantly, it was with Tyler Bajan.
18:01Uh, so this is, you know, I, I expect him to be really involved in this game.
18:06You, you look at last year against the Packers, 15 targets.
18:10He was eight for one 37. It's a, it's, it's a matchup that they know how to exploit.
18:15And at some point you've got to play the more talented player.
18:19The other thing that I really like is he, I can't believe it didn't happen in week one, but he started playing
18:26more and more of the single tight end snaps over Cole commit, which should have happened, but we're seeing that happy barely leaves the field right now.
18:34So I, I'm, I'm fine starting Loveland. He's off the bench back into the lineup.
18:39Mike, I'm going with Isaiah likely of the New York giants against Washington.
18:43We had to hold our breath for two weeks after what looked like he was going to be the breakout late round
18:50tight end him and Dalton Kincaid Jackson dart goes down.
18:53Jameis comes in. It's a disaster for two weeks in a row.
18:57Well, last week shows that maybe Jameis is still Jameis that you have the mistakes will be there, but the big plays,
19:04the good stuff, the fantasy gold will be there.
19:07Uh, he, in fact, uh, through the first month leads all tight ends and target share.
19:12Like this is, he is absolutely being utilized. Take the, the first two Jameis games.
19:17I'm setting them to the side, at least for now.
19:20He also talking on likely he leads the giants of first downs and red zone targets.
19:25Plus the matchup against Washington is delicious for the position.
19:28And I mean, they, is there going to be any lag?
19:31They had to come back from overseas. I like them.
19:34All right. I'm going back to back lions on mine.
19:38I am taking Sam Laporta against Arizona. Did you know TJ Hawkinson at 13 targets last week?
19:43I did. Did you know Laporta had 13 targets last week?
19:46I did not realize teen targets last week. This is a team whose defense is just not getting it done.
19:53Arizona should be able to put up points. And, uh, when you are moving down the field, you're going to have Sam
20:00Laporta wide open tied with McBride, most red zone targets among tight ends.
20:04Most routes run among all tight ends in the NFL.
20:07Currently the tight end for number one in in zone targets.
20:10I mean, Arizona, they can't defend wide receivers, right?
20:13They're dead last. Oh wait, they're 29th against tight ends.
20:16So really bottom of the barrel, secondary play linebackers.
20:19Linebackers can't keep up with Laporta. He's played outstanding this year.
20:23So I'm going to make him start of the week.
20:26That was starts of the week brought to you by Apple card, applying the wallet app on your iPhone today.
20:32Subject credit approval. Apple card issued by Goldman Sachs bank, USA, Salt Lake City branch terms and more at apple card.com.
20:39We'll take a break. We'll jump into the forecast.
20:41By the way, if you, if you would like to either of you guys want to peruse the, uh, the waiver wire
20:48in our chopped league or guillotine league, you guys know I'm in a desperate situation this week.
20:54I want you to go discover how desperate this man over here is.
20:58Oh, to survive a week where Jamar chase and Ken Walker's on by camp.
21:02Scadaboo is banged up, which we should have mentioned.
21:05Uh, and I'll mention right now, but I added a little player that I have to play this week.
21:11Oh, how desperate, how desperate, whose hands am I in to survive a chop league where I have a bunch of injuries
21:18and, and by weeks, Marvin Harrison jr. See you later guys.
21:21Wow. Uh, by the way, we should have mentioned it.
21:24I don't know why it wasn't in the news, but yesterday, cam Scadaboo played in a non-contact Jersey.
21:30So, uh, one of the things you can do there is Najee Harris is available in most leagues everywhere.
21:36If you want to kind of ensure that start, if you have Scadaboo, that's what I would do.
21:42Let's go into the forecast. Fantasy forecast presented by prize picks.
21:45Yeah. According to the Falcon, he dropped Marvin Harrison as a landmine.
21:49Yeah. Well, here's the problem. The wide receivers that I could play over him right now.
21:54Um, Jamar chase. Okay. Okay. You'll play Jamar chase.
21:57Yeah. I would, except for he might not play.
22:00Okay. DJ more. How are we doing? If he plays, I would play him over him.
22:05Okay. How about Chris bell? Oh wait. He showed up as questionable on the injury report yesterday.
22:10Hmm. Would you play Trey Harris or Marvin Harrison?
22:13That's the decision I actually have. Oh dude. That's my actual start decision.
22:17I don't hate Trey. I know this week. I know.
22:20I know it'll be the difference in being alive and dead, but there you go.
22:25We have another London matchup. Are we doing this?
22:28We're doing this again. Um, well, yeah, I think from like, I know what is it here on out?
22:34We're going to get a good game here. Philly two and two taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars three and one Vegas line Jacks minus seven over under 41.5.
22:42Hmm. That is the second lowest implied point total for Philadelphia.
22:46So Philadelphia this week alone, Saquon got hurt. Tank bigs beat a IR.
22:50Devante Smith could miss multiple weeks. I doubt he plays and travels.
22:54We'll see. You lost Lane Johnson to retirement and you traded Cam Juergens and you're going to move forward with a different center.
23:01Hmm. And Darius Cooper's getting picked up in leagues.
23:04Cool, man. So cool. Cool. They should have spent a first round pick on a wide receiver.
23:09They did. Oh, they should use him and throw him the ball because he's open all the time.
23:15Are is Jalen Hurts a startable fantasy asset? Yes or no?
23:18No, not in a single quarterback. Especially not this.
23:21The Jags are for real on the defensive side.
23:24Dude, the fact that we can be listing all those things off of like you got to get weapons like you should have taken a wide receiver.
23:32You did. And they did. What about what about a stud pass catching tight end?
23:37And they are not like Eli Stowers. Well, swing and miss.
23:40Sometimes that does happen. It was high draft capital.
23:43Mackay Lemon is far more like that is malpractice.
23:46What are you doing? You need when he's out there with Devante Smith gone.
23:51You need to just tear it all up. Build it back up and say, how do we feature Mackay Lemon?
23:57Yeah, the weird thing is the routes like I, you know, I've watched a ton of his film and he is out there.
24:04He is used in every single way. He has gimmies.
24:07He's got middle of the field. He's got intermediate.
24:10He goes deep sometimes. Jalen Hurts just does not look his way.
24:14He just, I don't know what Mackay said to Jalen Hurts, but it's personal.
24:18He's got a problem with the rip tiles. I do think it will change.
24:23I do. I think that the talent will win out on the opportunity.
24:27This week? He's returning to practice, I believe. Jalen Hurts' prize picks projection is 193.5 passing yards.
24:32That is his lowest of 2026. He is average 176 a game.
24:36He's not getting enough. He's not scoring enough. If the offense is not near a tush push zone, you're not getting any of that.
24:43And so, you know, if you have to make a decision, Jason, you could chase Darius Cooper and his touchdowns.
24:50He's had three of them. You can chase Dontavian Wicks and his sort of like hit and miss nature.
24:56He's not getting any of the peripherals. I mean, he's actually out there running and getting targets.
25:01Man, but I watched him run a route one time last week and I was like, well, then you.
25:07I don't know about that. You got to watch more then because he's got plenty of great routes.
25:13And then Mackay Lemon. Yeah. Which of those three would you play?
25:16If I had to start them, the order I would go is Wicks because he's getting the deep shots.
25:22So the chance that one play hits your week and then I would go Lemon for talent and routes.
25:28And then I would go Cooper. Cooper had 28% of the targets last week.
25:33Yeah. I'm kind of in on the Cooper. Like you're like, hey, maybe you'll get a touchdown.
25:38I think I go Wicks, Cooper, Lemon, which is crazy.
25:41Stupid. Crazy. Trevor Lawrence on the other side going up.
25:44Hold on the running backs. Like, are you playing Will Shipley?
25:48Oh, I'm so sorry. Yeah. Like that's really the biggest conversation.
25:51I believe Damien Pierce is playing for me in a league this week.
25:55All right. I'm not proud of it. I said it out loud, but I'm not proud of it.
26:01I have no other option. No other option. Yeah.
26:04I mean, if you listen to what Nick Sirianni talked about, he's like, we have a starting NFL running back that we've hidden on the practice report.
26:12I didn't want to talk him up because I didn't want people to take him off the practice report, but we've got a practice squad.
26:20Like I, you know, he's like talking about him.
26:23Like we have a starting. Yeah. Yeah. Mr. Sirianni.
26:26They all knew all the teams are aware. You think these billion dollar franchise, they were so aware that you didn't have
26:33them on your active roster as well. Like he's such a stud.
26:36You think this is what like, you know, you were talking about this with the players on another team yesterday.
26:43You get asked about a player. What are you going to say about a player?
26:47Yeah. I mean, he wasn't better than Shipley. He wasn't better than, than tank Bigsby.
26:52That is hilarious. I mean, the truth is though, they will not just give ship Larry carry.
26:58So that's the another front office. As soon as like Damien Pierce gets called up and they're just what they had Damien Pierce this whole time.
27:06I am committing. If only they had talked about him, we would have known.
27:10I'm committing the entire season to take away the, the number one pick for Matt from the Falcon and from Papa Josh in our Dino senior league.
27:19And you guys got to be worried. Darius Cooper and Damien Pierce coming your way this week.
27:24So, but in turn, I will play Shipley over Pierce.
27:27I would just hope you get some pass catching.
27:30Would you play Shipley over someone like JK Dobbins?
27:33No, not against Jacksonville. Jacksonville seventh against running backs.
27:36It'll be split up. They're going to be in a position where the running game is not how they're, how the Philadelphia
27:42Eagles are going to get back into the game.
27:45Uh, I it's close to me on that one.
27:48I think Shipley will get some opportunities in the passing game, but I kind of, I think I lean with Mike.
27:55I mean, 48% of snaps last week for Shipley led to one target.
27:59No catches six for 23. Uh, it might be nasty.
28:02Trevor Lawrence, Bay Shaw, tootin Jason started the week, Parker Washington, only three targets last week, one for seven.
28:08Yeah. Uh, no, that's not true. Is it? How many targets did he have last week?
28:13I feel like that was three targets. Yeah. No.
28:16Oh, one catch for seven. Yeah. He was a disaster.
28:19It's all right. Look, Brenton strange went crazy last week.
28:22It happens. He also had a, uh, touchdown like drop.
28:25Like he, he was, there was, there was a play where if that play connects, you're fine.
28:31And you're still happy with Parker Washington last week.
28:33It's the bangles tight ends destroy the bangles and Jacksonville adjusted.
28:37Yeah. Uh, we have outside of Parker Washington. What are you doing with Jacoby Myers, Brian Thomas, Jr., Britain strange strange was really good last week.
28:45I don't think I'm looking to start any of them.
28:48I mean, anyone can have a game. Obviously Brian Thomas, Jr.
28:52Caught the touchdown last week, but I, uh, I'm kind of Parker Washington confident and everyone else I'm looking elsewhere.
28:58Chicago's three and one taking on the green Bay Packers.
29:01We already kind of talked a little bit about this game talking about, Oh my goodness.
29:06Talking about the, uh, situation of running back for Chicago, but the Vegas line here, Chicago minus one and a half on the road.
29:14So you are road favorites with a backup quarterback Tyson Bajance.
29:17It's been such, I mean, I, I don't, I, we are.
29:21It's a good thing that Jeremy is not here.
29:23It's not good for green Bay, but they are the, Oh, that's embarrassing.
29:27They're the worst two and two team out there.
29:30This is the first time that Chicago has been a favorite in Lambeau in 20 years.
29:35With the years and they've got a backup quarterback.
29:38So some of it's been Johnson and like credit and some of it is the Packers and like, I mean, a lot of it is the pack.
29:47Yeah. Watching them is well, do you have two and two?
29:50If you have a man, guy and Swift, do you see a world where the bears can't just ball possessed like they did last year or last week?
29:59Oh my gosh. You guys have a sickness. It's something weird has happened in the last 48 hours.
30:05I don't know why. I don't, I just don't see them.
30:08If you adjust for the schedule played currently, the Packers are dead last against running backs, giving up 8.8 fantasy points more than expected.
30:16So yeah, this is going to be a run down your throat type of game.
30:20Um, yeah, yeah, that's, that's just, it's hard to see that stopping now offensively.
30:25It's, it's, you know, Watson and golden area in your lineup for good.
30:29Green Bay. Right. What do you do with the, and so is craft, but what do you do with the wide receiver room for the bears?
30:37It's really hard. I mean, some of this just feels like you're, you're chasing the previous week.
30:42I want to say Rome. Rome is definitely out there for the most snaps and single wide receiver sets.
30:48He's out there. He's getting the targets. We saw it last week.
30:52You follow that up with, you know, Hey, it's finally the same quarterback in back to back weeks.
30:58Maybe we have something we can go off of.
31:00However, you know, Ben Johnson is the type of guy where it's like every week is going to be a new game plan.
31:08You'll put both quarterbacks on the field to start the game just because he's.
31:12Oh, did you? So on that note, it officially because of rules, the start, I mean, it did go to case Keenum.
31:19So in the record books, case Keenum got the victory as the starter, not, not Tyson.
31:24Okay. You asked smart yourself on that one. And John, so as of right now, a prize, if you're going off of
31:31the prize picks projections, burden would be the favorite.
31:34Oh really? But it's not great. It's 44 and a half receiving yards for burden.
31:38Rome's at 38 and a half. Did you see the stats on Cleve Raymond?
31:43He went about 50% rostered last week and ended up with six total yards as predicted on this show.
31:49We all knew it was going to happen. I mean, we, we, we've been there long enough to know what Cleve Raymond is.
31:56So yeah, I mean, Jordan love has not hit 20 fantasy points yet this year.
32:01Is that true? Brother crazy. He, he hasn't been that bad.
32:04I thought week one, there was a whole 19.5, 13.8, 18.5, 13.1, just under in week one with three 87 and two.
32:11So would you play love or Drake may against Vegas?
32:14I mean, when you say love is in Lambo, you feel like you should be able to start him.
32:20Yeah. You, I have, I have love higher in my projections as of right now, but I'd play Bo Nix my start of the week over.
32:28Oh wait. No, I apologize. Drake may is one spot ahead of Jordan love.
32:33Yeah. But where are they in your weekly rankings?
32:36Eight and nine. Okay. Which that, that right now just has, cause that's got like Jayden Daniels behind the two of them,
32:43which when we get like systems go, we do have systems go.
32:46Well, I, it's Thursday. I, people lie in the NFL.
32:50So it's just, when you're like really confident that's going to happen.
32:53I imagine Jayden will move up. Oh, that's a tough call.
32:57I would like both the, the over under is better for Drake.
33:01The implied total looks about the same for both.
33:03I would probably, I think I'd play Jordan love.
33:06Do you guys have permission from your doctor to talk about the running game for the Packers?
33:12Sure. Is that okay with blood pressure? Yeah. Gosh.
33:14Cholesterol and things like that. Not mine. My blood work is, is actually pretty good, but I want it to stay that way.
33:22I mean, do you mess around here? So the, Chris Brooks is not practicing.
33:26There is a path that's called Chris Brooks is out.
33:29So Marshawn Lloyd gets another five plus targets. That's the path.
33:33I mean, but that doesn't matter. I mean, Marshawn Lloyd is.
33:36Talk to your friend Andy over here. He just said he's starting Damian Pierce.
33:40In a really crappy dynasty league. It does matter.
33:43It's gross. I mean, last week. RB, RB 34 last week for Marshawn Lloyd.
33:48Wait, that's the positive spin? Well, I'm saying like.
33:50It's like not in the top 30. People are playing more than 24 running backs.
33:55He had five targets last week. Yeah. Um, he did not score eight fantasy points.
34:00He also. Percent of runs have been stopped at the line of scrimmage for Green Bay.
34:05The fumbling issue for both Caleb Johnson and Marshawn Lloyd, um, was talked about.
34:09And there's just like, they will be benched. If either of them fumble the ball, they will not touch the ball again.
34:16Like genuinely, they will be out for the game.
34:19So then who's after they both fumble, then what happens?
34:22They just start. We just go zero. Yeah. Zero.
34:25They just throw it every, every single time. All right.
34:28Houston. Oh, and for Tennessee is oh, and for.
34:31Oh boy. Somebody has to win. Probably. Uh, two.
34:34Oh, and for AFC South teams. We had news that D'Amico Ryan's is taking back play calling duties on the defensive side
34:41of the football, which the defense has been the most surprisingly bad part of this team.
34:46They're 25th in fancy points allowed to quarterback 32nd to wide receivers dead last.
34:50I mean, this was a team that no one could throw on last year.
34:55No, they did. They've been able to now. Tennessee is a team that we've never seen throw the ball.
35:01Well, really, but they're going to get smushed. I don't, I Kyle, look this up.
35:05This has to be like the only time that an oh and for.
35:09Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho.
35:13Andy's almost upset of the week. Number one. It's smushed is your new word of the week.
35:18Yeah. Because you must've said on the Sunday morning when we were watching games, oh man, that guy got smooth.
35:24Well, to be fair. More times than I can.
35:27To be fair. This was a smushed. When I was watching people get tackled, it was more of a smushed.
35:34Yeah, that's true. Yeah. There's a difference. More home seven and a half point dogs for the Titans.
35:39That that's what I was curious about is, is there a time where an oh and four team has been over a touchdown favorite before?
35:47Cause that's wild over under 38 and a half.
35:50There is not a lot of fantasy value to be had in this one.
35:54You know, you're going to play Nico Collins because he's in that stud tier.
35:59We had long debates about Montgomery and marks. I don't want to play either one of them.
36:04Really Marshawn Lloyd or. I play Lloyd. Okay. If Chris Brooks is out.
36:08Yeah. Just for pass catching. Rubber right. Yeah. No, I mean, you know, Tony Pollard is not practicing on Wednesday with the foot.
36:15They seem to be resting him periodically. I think the biggest actual question mark in this game from a start set perspective is just Carnell Tate.
36:24You know, 12 targets, nine for one 45. You don't want to, you know, that's, that's a great line.
36:30He should be started. Yeah. Fumbled and needs to hold the ball closer to his chest.
36:35Yeah. The way he runs. I mean, he, I think he fumbled twice, lost one of them and looked like he was going to fumble every time.
36:43Um, hopefully that was brought up. Yeah. Hopefully that was brought up in the film room.
36:48But yeah, I mean, this is a player who he got nine targets two weeks ago.
36:53I'd play him over Marv. Yeah. I play him over Cooper.
36:57Darius Cooper. I mean, obviously D'Amico Ryan's taking over play call.
37:00Maybe they completely fix it, but this has been a team that has given up a lot of points to wide receivers.
37:07Colonel Tate has, you know, 21 targets in the last two weeks and is awesome.
37:12Would you play him over a valet? Yeah. This week against the Vikings.
37:16I would too. I don't think Carnell Tate's a bad start.
37:19No, no, I, I think it's Nico and Carnell Tate and then the rest of it you're trying to avoid.
37:25Yeah. We needed to see it first with Carnell Tate.
37:29I like all the people. If you have nine for one 45 on your bench, that sucks, but you needed to, but
37:36I had to see at least something. So the, the targets plus that the, the Texans defense to the wide receiver position,
37:42at least thus far, they're giving up an extra nine points over expectations.
37:46So that's 30th against the position. Yeah. You're going to, you're going to hold your breath, but I'd put them out there.
37:53All right. We'll take a break and jump into some more matchups.
37:57We've got another own four team about to try to get off the schneid.
38:02There's a skeeter in here. You got a, Oh no, that's a mosquito.
38:06Yeah. So you flick the mosquito at me. Did you, why would you not smoosh it?
38:11I'm trying to smoosh it. No, you flick. Yeah.
38:14Well, you could kill it with a flick. No, you can't.
38:17Oh, I kill him. But you said I tried to smoosh.
38:20No, you don't. You don't flick them all the time and kill them.
38:25I do too. That's a lie. With flies, you flick.
38:28With flies, that's the number one way to. Why do you flick, with flies.
38:32I can't slap a fly. You said it was a mosquito.
38:36Oh, I can only slap a fly. What? Yeah.
38:38I can never slap a fly. You must have a.
38:41My aim's too slow. You can flick a fly.
38:44Oh, I can flick a fly. I've seen it.
38:47But what about the skeeter you flicked at me?
38:50Why do you want it to eat me? I'm hoping it's not me.
38:54Because then it's dead when it's on you. I don't think you killed that.
38:58First of all, you missed. I did. I know for a fact.
39:02I saw he flew around. Second of all, I'm not sure it was a mosquito.
39:07Oh, I know it was. Okay. That's why you didn't smash it.
39:11Josh is thinking you can't flick the fly. Yes, you can.
39:14Oh, I. You approach very slowly. Yeah, you approach slowly.
39:17You have fast flick. I flick flies all the time.
39:20You're locked and loaded. You can flick a fly fastly?
39:24I can flick a fly. Absolutely. Papa Josh doesn't believe you.
39:27It's true. Yeah. I can do the monkey bars too.
39:30No. Okay. Jay, you can't do that. I was backing you, man.
39:34Yeah. I was supporting you and then you're like, this thing that everyone knows is not true.
39:39Mike has seen me flick a fly. Yes. Well, I can't tell.
39:43Cincinnati Bengals two and two. Miami's 0-4. Cincinnati minus six and a half on the road over under 42 and a half.
39:50It's a nice implied point total of just under 25 for the Bengals.
39:54Miami is leading the way every week on lowest implied point totals.
39:58They have one passing touchdown in four weeks. So, yeah.
40:01Again, I already apologized last week. Nothing is working.
40:04And now A-Chan's gone. It's been really, really bad.
40:07A-Chan's gone in the running game way better somehow.
40:09Yeah. I mean, it was really good for Ollie Gordon last week.
40:13It was. Nine for 101. He is the one that looks like a three down back.
40:18But the pass catching, it was like two targets intentionally to start the game.
40:23Never got another one. You know, Jalen Wright, don't worry about it.
40:26And the wide receiver room, you have injured rookies.
40:29Caleb Douglas won't play. Chris Bell is banged up with a knee.
40:33You got Malik Washington who is. He's safe. PPR Shakir for seven, eight points.
40:37He is safe for that. And so I look, Ollie Gordon against Cincinnati.
40:42Cincinnati's defense is much improved and musty. Very musty as well.
40:45But they're 11th against running backs. I think Ollie Gordon, if he was in your lineup last week, you're probably playing him again.
40:52It's funny how we look at. I don't really see a reason to bench him.
40:57It's funny how we look at Cincinnati's defense. They are playing so much better than they were last year that I just look at them as like elite.
41:06Oh, no, it's Cincinnati. Watch out. They're not the defense target.
41:09But they're really just now like an average NFL defense.
41:12They can present problems, but they're not some complete shutdown defense.
41:16I think Ollie Gordon is, he should earn more work.
41:19What he has done the last two weeks on the field, if they come out and they do this 50-50 split again, I think it's silly.
41:27Yeah, we got a hot one here. Ollie Gordon or Braylon Allen for the New York Jets, which Braylon Allen got.
41:34It wasn't, we didn't really get fantasy points because the Jets ran about two plays.
41:38But Braylon Allen was a full workhorse in that game.
41:42I would go Ollie. I think I would go Ollie as well, but it's not like the Jets aren't trying to have few, they're playing so slow.
41:50I just am fearful if you're not. Hampton against the Broncos or Ollie Gordon.
41:54I'm sorry, Jason. That's disgusting. I knew it was.
41:57I'm going to stick. Oh, gosh. I will. I will go Hampton.
42:01Yeah. We're waiting on news from Jamar Chase going through concussion protocol.
42:05T Higgins did not practice with a groin injury.
42:08My policy on the Bengals this week. I had some people text me asking me the same thing.
42:13I'm playing Dante Myers no matter what if both those guys are out.
42:17Really? If both of them are out. If both are out, he is a must start to me.
42:23What if it's just one? I don't think so personally.
42:26I don't think he's a must start. He is talented.
42:29He's explosive. I don't think he's 10 targets because you're going to.
42:33First of all, the tight end does very well against the Dolphins.
42:37The Dolphins don't do enough to where you continue passing.
42:40So you basically in most of these games, it feels like you get a quarter and a half, maybe a whole half that you're really throwing the ball.
42:49I mean, how do they if you don't have Chase and Higgins, you've got to do something to take the lead.
42:55I have enough confidence in Dante Myers who once Chase came out, got nine targets last week.
43:01I get what you're saying. Yeah, the Dolphins have to get ahead somehow.
43:05And I think Myers will play a big role.
43:08Yeah. But if Gisicki gets a touchdown or Chase Brown gets a touchdown, then the wide receiver core is honestly, I think
43:15you might be being bailed out here because like T Higgins, obviously you're going to start in all games.
43:21It's probably not going to like if he was active, it's probably not great right now.
43:26The Dolphins adjusted fantasy points. They are dead last.
43:28Like they're the worst matchup for wide receivers. Not because they shut people down because you don't need them.
43:34No, you might be right there. You're making me second guess the level of conviction.
43:39I do think if they're both out, you can play him, but maybe there's more risk than I am.
43:45I originally thought. Yeah, it's more of a matchup thing to me.
43:49Dante Myers is very explosive and an exciting guy to plug in a lineup if those other two guys are gone.
43:55And I'm certainly not saying he can't do something really special and great.
44:00You can start him, but I just don't. I'm worried they're not going to need wide receivers in this game because the Dolphins are not good.
44:08So speaking of that, you have Mike Gasicki in seven games without Tee Higgins since 2024 averages 49 receiving yards per game.
44:15It's a decent matchup. Mike Gasicki has always or almost always come through when Tee is out.
44:20Are you throwing him in? Yeah, I think so.
44:23I think Gasicki deserves a start. I mean, I wouldn't throw him in over really good options.
44:28But if you're talking about the tier of like, OK, we don't know what we have in Kenyon Sadiq.
44:34Yeah, I'd throw. I would throw Gasicki in over him.
44:37Do you guys know the most points Miami scored in any single game this year?
44:42Was it last week against Minnesota 20? No, they they only scored 10.
44:46Oh, they wait. What am I thinking of? Am I wrong about that?
44:50I thought I thought they scored 10 points. They scored 10 points.
44:54It's 10 to 15. Oh, I added it. I gave them both an extra 10.
44:59How about the week before against Kansas City? How many points do they score?
45:03Three. 10. 10. OK. What about San Francisco the week before?
45:06Is it 10? No, it's 13. Oh, come on.
45:09What about the Raiders? 13. So they have not surpassed 13.
45:13So to Jason's point. Yeah, they stink. You know, your first point was that, hey, this this Bengals defense isn't actually special.
45:20It's just more middle of the pack now. So maybe at home they can find a way to 14 points.
45:26But yeah, they're just I mean, they have an implied point of middle of the pack.
45:31Oh, maybe they can find a way to 14 for the first time this season.
45:36No. And you're like, you're not doing it, but we got to call it or I'm going to call it out just because it's fun.
45:44The Bengals was over and over. They get killed by the tight end position.
45:48Greg Dulcich, if you are a very desperate person, maybe just more like a DFS situation, but it's like he should get
45:55he should get five or more targets. Las Vegas, the Raiders three and one my Raiders taking on the two and two New England Patriots in New England.
46:04They're favored three and a half points over unders 45 and a half.
46:08This is this is like one of the things that happened this offseason with the Raiders that we were in love with was the acquisition of Tyler Linderbaum.
46:17Dude, it it's so easy. Fix your offensive line and everything looks great.
46:21Kirk Cousins is not fleet of foot and yet is pressured the second least among any quarterback in football.
46:27When you let a veteran quarterback stand back there and pick you apart.
46:31This is why he's leading the league in touchdown passes.
46:34I mean, it hasn't worked in the running game in terms of efficiency, but it's worked in my opinion.
46:40You know, Jinty has been viable every single week.
46:43The efficiency, the big plays. Maybe that's Mike Washington's game, but Jinty has been running back five 26 20 and 15.
46:49He's RB 10 on the year and he's never had fewer than 15 rush attempts in a game.
46:55Eight targets for Jinty last week. Eight. He's on pace right now for 102 targets.
47:00So he is a do everything back that frees up, you know, your offensive line to play action and use these tight
47:07ends in Michael Mayer and Brock Bowers and Ian Thomas.
47:10This has been an impressive offensive product put out there by Kubiak, which is what we hope for.
47:15But we said, do you have the personnel to do it?
47:19Right. And I don't even know if the answer to that is really yes on offense and yet he's still doing it.
47:26No, they're getting it all done even without Jack Besh available.
47:29Incredible work. Incredible work. I mean, you thought it couldn't be done.
47:33When he went down, I was like, it's over.
47:36On the dynasty show this week, we actually had a really fun kind of informative segment where we were drafting NFL play
47:43callers, current active NFL play callers and Kubiak, I believe he was fourth.
47:47Oh, like we were very, very bullish on his designs, his systems.
47:51Obviously last year with the Seahawks, but it goes back many years and what he's getting out of this offense right now is fantastic.
47:58And I love the consolidation. I mean, the fact that you know you want to start Brock Bowers and you're not afraid
48:05Jente, even if he's inefficient, you're going to start him and then you can be done.
48:10I will say just real quick, Jalen Naylor got a concussion last week.
48:14Trey Tucker did have eight targets and there is bad.
48:17And on Wednesday, Dante Myers, Trey Tucker. Hold on.
48:20Part of the Wednesday's practice report. Uh, three Patriots cornerbacks were absence, including Christian Gonzalez.
48:25Oh, fantastic. So Trey Tucker's very interesting. If you make sure you're following the news, I think Tucker's interesting regardless, but if
48:32Gonzalez especially is out, then all right. You think New England handles this game or no?
48:37I think they're at home. They're favored. Drake may got his mojo back.
48:41Romeo Dobbs had a couple touchdowns. You're the Raiders guy.
48:44What do you think? What are your, how do your Raiders fair here in New England?
48:49I feel like I think New England is going to win the game.
48:53Yeah. I want to see before Drake, did New England start last year with a loss to the Raiders?
48:59They did. That was the Raiders only win. Yeah.
49:02I, I don't know. I don't, I don't have the conviction this week that, that New England's going to lose this game.
49:09I like what I saw on defense last week.
49:12Maybe if those corners are out, you got a problem, but I don't think they're all going to be out and, and,
49:19you know, I feel like this is a real pick them game.
49:22So like if I'm picking the line because New England is three and a half, I'll, I'll be on the Raiders side.
49:29I'll take the field goal. But, uh, I, I expect it to be pretty, pretty close.
49:34That being said that those close games are usually really good for fantasy, you know, as, as the game goes into the
49:41fourth quarter and you know, that they took the lead.
49:44Now we've got to get the lead and you get a lot of passing volume.
49:49That's the opportunity we have here. Yeah. The overrunner is not terrible.
49:53What about the running back situation for New England?
49:56Ramondre was limited on Wednesday, not a full out.
49:58According to the report I have Travion Henderson. It's been, you know, one hit and a lot of miss, but if he's alone, then you play him.
50:07Then you got to go with Travo. If he gets all the volume, he will get two explosive plays.
50:13I mean, you saw last year when, when Ramondre was injured and they brought in Jamal Williams for a workout.
50:19That's not, I mean, it could just be coincidence on timing, but, uh, the Ramondre Stevenson knee injury could, could rule him out this week.
50:27The last two weeks, uh, he hasn't had the big play eight for 23, 14 for 42 on the ground.
50:33Um, we'll see what happens this week. If Ramondre is limited, would you play if Ramondre is active?
50:39Are you benching Travo or are you flexing him?
50:42I play him over Damien Pierce. Yes. Okay. Just know that that shouldn't really be our benchmark.
50:47I'm just saying that if you've seen my dynasty team, you understand why he's in my lineup.
50:52Yep. There's a bar. Are you playing Mike Washington jr.
50:56Or Damien Pierce, Mike? Hmm. Cause that's the actual decision.
50:59I probably play Washington. Oh gosh. Uh, one of those guys can house it from 50.
51:04Yeah. The thing that I, the thing that I love, like, so last year there were three games that Ramondre missed.
51:10And in those games you had a game with five targets and a game with six targets for Travion Henderson.
51:17I don't know why they don't throw him the ball as it is currently enough.
51:21I mean, they, they really use Ramondre as their passing back far more, but that's what excites me about the opportunities that
51:28Henderson would receive if Ramondre is gone. Matt Collins left the game with a non-contact injury this past week.
51:34Calf. Calf. Pay attention to it. Romeo Dobbs. Maybe we're, we're starting to figure things out with Drake may nine targets.
51:41He gets deep shots. He did score twice the matchup against the Raiders.
51:45They like, they've been holding wide receivers under their expects expectation.
51:48So I don't love that. But if Matt Collins is out, Romeo Dobbs is pretty much a top 24 must play.
51:55Agreed. The Minnesota Vikings in their miraculous four and O start, despite not scoring touchdowns in two other four games.
52:01Take on the New Orleans Saints who are one and three, the games in New Orleans, Minnesota favored by one and a half.
52:09The overrunner is just 42 and a half. So this one's tough because there, there's just a lot of players that you've been very confident in.
52:17Yeah. You know, Tyler Shuck, obviously Devon Vele has been a worthy play.
52:21Juwan Johnson's the tight end three on the year.
52:24And obviously Olave who he didn't practice on Wednesday, which might alarm you because he left early on Monday night.
52:30But you got to remember it's a short week for them.
52:33A rest day is what they're, they've come out and vehemently said this is not about the knee because they knew those questions would be there.
52:42They said it's a rest day, but if there's another non knee rest Thursday, I will be worried about the knee.
52:48Exactly. Olave is going to be started no matter what, if he's active, he's, he's too good.
52:53The matchup sucks. Everything could go bad. But the other guys, Shuck, Camara, Vele, Juwan Johnson, I think that there are probable
53:00pivots in most situations for those guys. The Vikings defense has just been too doggone good.
53:05They're number one against quarterbacks, number one against running backs, number six against tight ends.
53:10They're just, they're awesome. There's a reason why Minnesota is four and oh, and what's crazy here is the Saints, the Saints
53:17who have looked really good this year. Like they're, they're passing my eye test other than getting boat raced at home on primetime this last week.
53:25Um, yeah, they failed the eye test on that one.
53:28It feels like they're about to be one in four.
53:32Yes, they will be. Yeah. And, and it's, you know, Juwan Johnson, is he a start this week?
53:37Do you stay in the flames? Minnesota is so good against the tight end position.
53:42Pretty much. I don't know. He is to me like, he's okay.
53:46Colson Loveland, I would play over him. Um, he's.
53:48I'd play him over Sadiq. Would you, what about.
53:51Fanon? No, I would play Fanon. Yeah. I would try to play.
53:55I would play Isaiah likely. And then after those guys, that's basically where I go.
54:00Juwan Johnson. He's my 12th. We do have a, the precedent of last week.
54:04Oh, the garbage man can. Yeah. Even if they're down, there may be opportunities there.
54:09I wouldn't touch a running back on new Orleans with a thousand foot pole right now against Minnesota and we'll monitor the Olave situation.
54:16Chuck, I'd be trying to find another option because he could have an okay game, but his ceiling is very capped by Minnesota.
54:24Aaron Jones has been a top 24 back in all four weeks, guys.
54:28He's just sneakily part of this operation, right? You, you don't have the best quarterback in football.
54:33You do have a great defense run the ball.
54:36Yeah. I mean, with Jordan Mason on IR, they really don't have, they don't believe in Claiborne to come in as a
54:43rookie and, and protect the quarterback and do those things.
54:46Aaron Jones, you know, we talk about these older veterans getting off to pretty hot starts to start the season.
54:52Maybe they fade down the stretch. It's still early.
54:55I think Aaron Jones is just a fantastic start.
54:58It was almost my start of the week. They're Kyler's on the Malik Willis plan right now.
55:03One touchdown and three starts. So, you know, he's not an option.
55:07No. And the question I have for you is with Jefferson potentially returning, how do you view Jefferson in this, in the grand scheme of rest of season?
55:16Like, like Kyler, I don't think maybe he gets a little bit better as he acclimates and they figure out what he does better.
55:23You take a big breath and you hope and you pray.
55:27I mean, whatever you thought in draft season is what, you know, when, when we were looking at the back of the
55:34first with Justin Jefferson, we were a little bit more hesitant because we knew that it could go poorly with Kyler.
55:40Now, early in the season, it was like, okay, obviously Justin Jefferson is still him.
55:45And when Carson Wentz was there, he was fantastic.
55:48But with, with, with Kyler, I do think you're going to have a nerfed version of the best wide receiver in football.
55:55And then Hawkinson, if Jefferson's back, are you benching him?
55:58Are you playing Loveland? Are you playing Joe Watson?
56:01Yeah, I would play those guys over him. Just not chasing 13 targets if Jefferson's back in there.
56:06Correct. And then Addison is a full bench. Yeah, that, yeah.
56:10And that being said, if Jefferson doesn't play this week, then Hawkinson is a must start.
56:15Yeah, I would agree with that. And then the Jordan Addison's a DMP right now with a hamstring.
56:21So it could be Hawk. It could be Hawk and Jefferson.
56:24There is a third scenario where Addison's out. Yeah.
56:27So something to kind of keep an eye on.
56:30If there's consolidation there, don't, you know, you probably, I think a lot of people went and spent on Hawkinson at that point.
56:37If Addison is out. So coming in this morning, TJ Hawkinson was my start of the week.
56:42He was who I was. I like the matchup.
56:45I like what we saw last week. We know how Kyler plays, but with, oh, the Skeeter's back.
56:51Are you getting a mosquito bit? He's trying. I'm dumb.
56:54I'm at least you started. At least you started slapping.
56:57You're not like flicking around like a weirdo. But really good podcast.
57:01The matchup, the matchup is, uh, is very good for Hawkinson.
57:04I just don't want him to be the third target.
57:07If Addison or Jefferson are gone, he, he moves ahead of that, that other tier of the Jawan Johnson.
57:13Did you see that, uh, video that is going around on, uh, Instagram out in Arizona with that, uh, spider coming out of the, Oh yeah.
57:22No, I have not. Yeah. I have not. Will not.
57:25I seen it about, you don't want to see it climbing out of the vent.
57:29You don't want to see it. Remember you had a spider in your car and you had to pull over in the middle.
57:37Okay. He took your headphones off Cleveland three in one, New York one in three.
57:41Even I'm not a, I have no problem with spiders.
57:44Even that video was like, Oh, that was a bad video.
57:48Yeah. Um, can you call triple A for that?
57:51That was like the one years ago. You got to call Jeremy.
57:55It crawled out of the girl's mouth. Burn that car.
57:58Huh? It was like the one years ago where it, the spider just crawls out of this girl's mouth.
58:04Yeah. Uh, don't click that Lincoln slack. Cleveland three in one, New York one in three, the jets, the Vegas line here,
58:11jets minus one and a half over under 39 and a half.
58:14Uh, in a battle of slow. Um, these are, this is, you, you want to take the Frank Reich led offense of the jets.
58:22That's 29th and pace of play and combine it with Todd Monkens 25th and pace of play.
58:27This game will be, this game might be over before you know it.
58:31Seriously. I mean the clock, it will be a full running clock.
58:35Yeah. The clock will never stop. So under 39 and a half.
58:39What, what are your choices here? Denzel Boston been so impressive.
58:42Garrett Wilson. He's an auto start for your team.
58:45Is Boston entering that category of auto start with the amount of shots I take to him?
58:50He's entering it. I watched, uh, all of his film this last week and, and he's doing, he's doing a little bit
58:57of everything, but he's got plays on film, uh, as a blocker.
59:01Like that, that this team has to be just doing handstands about their excitement over Denzel Boston.
59:07And even though they drafted Concepcion first and he's good, it feels like Boston is their, their wide receiver one.
59:13I think he should be started like going forward weekend and week out.
59:17He should be, he should be in there. Now the matchup isn't great simply because very similar to the dolphins.
59:23And then you add in the pace of play.
59:26You just don't need a lot against them, but I mean, maybe the Browns will.
59:31Yeah. The jets have been a run funnel. So, or I mean a running back funnel.
59:36So you're like Judkins. It was a nice targets.
59:39The targets really, really helped last week. I don't know if those will continue.
59:43I'll probably still play Judkins though in this matchup.
59:46And then Braylon Allen, we saw the good and the bad, the opportunities.
59:50The good, the bad was how slow and incapable the offense was.
59:54Well, Wilson had a tough game last week. I'm still taking the, the volume.
59:58Ninety four percent of the snaps. Ja'Cory Krosky, Merritt, or Braylon Allen.
60:02So he got four snaps? Was JCM or Braylon Allen?
60:05Return in Jaden Daniels. Probably still Braylon. I would go JCM.
60:08This is a battle of a 60 and 64 year old play caller.
60:13What? And that's some front porch, rocking chair offenses, man.
60:16Get off my lawn. Harold Fannin. Keep playing him if you've been playing him.
60:20Yeah, I guess. And just like live with the slow.
60:23Colts, two and two. Steelers, two and two. Vegas line Pittsburgh minus two and a half over under 44 and a half.
60:30You know, this is Indianapolis. They had to play in Europe last week.
60:34Now you got to play a road game in Pittsburgh.
60:37You know, that's only happened twice in history where you have a team with that bad of a draw where you go from international to a road game.
60:46How'd the other two teams do? They did bad.
60:49They lost both of the games and the Steelers have an extra three days rest.
60:54They come off Thursday night game. Kind of not matching up there.
60:57That's not. That's disgusting. Yeah. You get extra time and you get to stay on the road.
61:03So that got that. The thing that can't be that thing that's funny right now for Pittsburgh can't be what it can't
61:10be that hard to like get an actual fair schedule.
61:13That's a lot of teams, a lot of moving parts, Mike.
61:16Yeah, I mean, I've never tried. I've never sat down and tried to figure it out.
61:21I'm just do you think they get that and then they just go like they see a couple problems and they're like, well, the rest.
61:29I don't want to redo this math. I guess that's OK.
61:33Have you ever numbered something? Yeah. Putting a list together and then you find out you missed 18.
61:38Yeah. And you're like, well, what do I do now?
61:41Whatever. 17B it is. I guess this one that I would have been 18 is now 38.
61:47Yeah, it's funny because I don't we haven't liked the Pittsburgh offensive like potential and yet they should be OK in this one.
61:54The turnstile defense of the Colts, the fact they're at home.
61:57Jalen Warren's been on fire. We don't know if Rico will even play either way.
62:02You play Warren. You don't play Rico and then the wide receivers.
62:06I mean, I I still think Metcalf is somebody you can keep playing because the targets are the targets are there.
62:13It's disgusting. Right. But it just kind of is what it is.
62:16And I would say top 10 quarterback two straight weeks when you add in the matchup when you add in the fact
62:23that the you know, you don't the Colts defense has just been really bad.
62:28I don't know sauce Gardner. I know he was coming off of an injury, but he's just he has not changed this defense at all.
62:36There's still a defense you target. So I think DK Metcalf is an OK play this week.
62:41Would you play him over Josh Downs because down.
62:44Yes. Yes. See, I would too. And we thought Downs would break out last week.
62:48He was on the field for almost every snap.
62:51But, you know, Aaron Jones or Daniel Jones doesn't look like the Daniel Jones of last year.
62:57His fantasy points. It's not just fantasy points. Nine, eleven, seven point nine, seven point nine.
63:02Looks like a guy who's coming off of an Achilles.
63:05They I mean, it's not even like they won last week in one because of Zach Galifianakis.
63:10Absolutely. They won an easy blowout victory. And it.
63:13It masks. I can't remember his real name. Yeah.
63:16Because you'd love to correct me. Yeah, I would.
63:19And I wanted to say the right name, but I couldn't remember it either.
63:23It just masked how bad Daniel Jones was on up.
63:26I know it's a his accuracy was awful. Just missing.
63:29Guys, he's looked 56 percent. So you're going to have to try to run the ball with Jonathan Taylor as much as you can.
63:37That's your only path to winning this game. I thought Kyle was giving me the pronunciation of a fan.
63:43Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, man, is, but he just spelled Galifianakis.
63:46So, yeah, Josh Downs is a really scary start.
63:49I kind of like there's nobody to target in the receiving game.
63:52And then Tyler Warren is just wild. You'd be like, OK, well, Tyler Warren's going to blow up last week.
63:59I mean, 13, 21, 55 and 41 yards. But he did not.
64:03He did not blow this offense. Other than Johnny Taylor, this thing is kind of stinky.
64:08Does Tyler Warren feel like the oldest 24 year old on the planet?
64:12Yeah, he does. He's aging like Hawkinson did. Just rap dog ears.
64:15Because he's got too much dog. He's got too much dog.
64:19I love Tyler Warren. His hair is the opposite of Bowers, though.
64:23Oh, yeah. So watch this. Yeah, Bowers is aging as well.
64:26Some updates on the injury report. Lamar Jackson not seen participating again.
64:30But Zay Flowers is bad. That's good. Because if you missed that Zay Flowers didn't practice, this one was not hamstring.
64:36It was foot, a.k.a. new injury. Yeah. Stefan Diggs, hamstring working on the side field.
64:41Don't see McLaurin out there. Terry McLaurin may miss another week.
64:45Antonio Williams is a sneaky start. I think he actually is.
64:48I actually moved him into one of our, we got our Scotty Fish lineup mic.
64:53We got some bi-week situations. I put Antonio in there.
64:56I don't hate it. No sign of Brees Hall and A.D.
64:59Mitchell at practice for the Jets as well. Should be Braylon again.
65:03That was fantasy forecast presented by PrizePix. Make sure to follow our account at the FFBallers in the app to see our best picks every week.
65:11PrizePix, run your game tomorrow. We have, well, we'll recap this, the big breakout performance by Pickens, Mike.
65:17All right, look. Give me a stat line. Stat line for Pickens tonight.
65:21I'm going to give you, for George Pickens. Yeah, yeah.
65:24The other Pickens. Yeah, George Pickens. George Pickens. Well, I just was trying to think.
65:29Yeah, I know you were. Let's go, we're going to go five catches for one 17 and a score.
65:35Okay. And how many targets? Is that eight? Yeah, probably.
65:38Eight targets? I got seven targets, four for 84 and a touchdown.
65:42Oh, so you guys both have them in the end zone?
65:45Yeah. Do I have to do this now? Yeah.
65:48If you want. We'll go five targets. We'll go four catches, 74 yards, no touchdown.
65:53Okay. But I'm sorry. We'll see. This week, the Cowboys tonight should put on an absolute show.
65:58Yeah. They really, really should. Dak is playing great.
66:01Seagal AM, great. Well, we talked about it. We just need a little bit of George.
66:06They've been much more meticulous of an offense than a big play offense.
66:10So we need to get a big play from that team.
66:14Uh, you can roll your eyes into the back of your head when it ends up being not Pickens, but Turpin tonight or something.
66:21If it's anyone who will end up being Turd Ferguson.
66:24That could be. Yeah. Stealing the touchdowns. So we'll talk about Thursday night.
66:28We got more matchups tomorrow. Fantasy face off the wheel of shame.
